Now, Epic Games is stepping in. Many players found themselves running into errors trying to connect and play with friends as the game\u2019s concurrent player number surged well above expectations. As the Pocketpair devs explained on Twitter; \u201cthe number of players exceeded 700,000 concurrent players, and a problem occurred in the Epic Games backend.\u201d However, \u201cemergency meetings\u201d held with Epic managed to provide a swift solution to the problem. \u201cYou should notice an improvement in connectivity and the errors should start to disappear shortly,\u201d the devs said on Twitter. Since the fix, Palworld reached a peak concurrent player count of over 850,000 according to Steam Charts. That puts it in the top ten most-played games of all time on Steam, and its player count doesn\u2019t show any sign of slowing down.
