Palword has instantly captured the attention of the gaming community following glowing reviews from players and streamers. In just a matter of days it has dramatically risen and become the best-selling game on Steam, as well as reaching heights of over 500 thousand players at one time. However, some people have been blasting the game for being “Pokemon with guns,” in relation to its many quirky Pals in the game. As well as this it has been accused of “copying” various other games such as Ark and Craftopia. Now, Palworld players have had enough. One player has shared a typical meme that has been making the rounds online against the haters of the game, as legions of players have chimed in to hit back at criticism. Palworld players rally to support game after Pokemon and Ark criticism Palworld player Ares_carries posted: “Game is pretty fun if you asked me,” alongside a meme depicting what haters have been saying about the game. “You know it’s just a reskinned Ark right? It’s just a scam look at Craftopia. Quit having fun,” each of the three sayings read. Despite the backlash from some in the gaming community, many quickly flooded in to praise the game and shut down the criticisms. “I can’t even see the haters because I play in full-screen lmao,” the top comment read, as another stated: “Fortnite was early access for years while being the most played and profitable game. It’s just people mad to mad, with zero understanding for why they believe what they do.” Others revealed how they found Palworld after playing Ark, stating that “every single game session we had together ended with me dead and too far away from literally all my stuff and it was the least fun I’ve had in a long time, this game I’ve actually made a house, caught some pals and enjoyed myself.” Some addressed the comparisons to Craftopia: “The fact is that even after spending 170+ hours on Craftopia the game feels really chunky and cheap. I bought the game a week after the release, played for 15/20 hours and then literally abandoned it.” “If Pokemon company does not see this as a wake-up call to create a game like Ark and Pokemon, but official Pokemon and make it cross-platform, they would make so much damn money,” as more addressed the famous pocket monster comparisons. As various players alluded to, the game has launched as an Early Access game, therefore developers have stressed that it is not yet “complete.” With Palworld’s remarkable rise straight out of the blocks, it will be certainly interesting to see how the game evolves and in which direction it goes over time.

Palworld players shut down criticism of game being “reskin” of Pokemon and Ark PocketPairPlayers of Palworld have rallied in support of the game that sold 1 million copies in just eight hours, following waves of criticisms that is has copied Pokemon and Ark.
