Here’s everything that has been revealed so far. Payday 3 may have been off to a rocky start with its lack of updates during the launch period, but Starbreeze is now committing to more regular patches. And considering the amount of post-launch support Payday 2 received, you may be wondering what new content is coming to its successor in the future. All Year 1 DLC In its Year 1 roadmap, Starbreeze confirmed four major Payday 3 DLC expansions dropping by the end of 2024. Additionally, the pre-order bonus Trifecta Lootbag has also been made available to purchase separately. It includes the Venomous Verdigris mask, Cotton Stripes gloves, and Obsidian Glitz suit. On June 14th, 2024, Starbreeze also announced changes to DLC pricing and compensations for owners of earlier DLC. In a blog post as part of Operation Medic Bag, the developer announced the prices would drop by around 33%. Owners of the Syntax Error DLC, Silver, and Gold Editions were also being compensated for the early buy-in at a higher markup with some cosmetic items previously reserved for the microtransaction store. Owners of Syntax Error get the Preacher Pack, Drifter Pack, and Island Skin. Silver Edition owners also get the Heavy Hitter pack, while Gold Edition owners get the Assassin Pack. Can you play Payday 3 paid DLC without owning the DLC? Since the launch of Syntax Error, you have been able to play Payday 3’s DLC with friends without owning the DLC yourself. To do this, you need to join a lobby hosted by a player who currently owns the DLC. They will be able to start matchmaking for a game on one of the DLC maps, allowing the three other players to join even if they don’t own the maps.
