On June 27, the game\u2019s developers at Rebellion Developments released a number of tweaks for general gameplay. This included weapon balancing, Invasion changes, and, importantly, a rollout of fixes for bugs that have been plaguing the game since its last patch. Among the patch notes are details of a Kar98k nerf, after it was concluded that it was overpowered. Or, in their words, a \u201c1 hit killing machine.\u201d A blog post also stated that while Invasion mode has been a success so far, things needed to be reworked. \u201cIt\u2019s been great to see how many of you have really got into playing Invasion Mode. Watching videos and reading stories of the awesome cat and mouse sniper showdowns people have been experiencing has made all the hard work worthwhile. \u201cAs a result of the ongoing Community feedback we\u2019ve received, we\u2019ve made various improvements and fixes to Invasion Mode. We\u2019ve done some balancing to make the Invader a little less powerful, have reduced them down to 1 grenade and 1 landmine, and have swapped out some of their skills.\u201d That\u2019s not the only thing that\u2019s been switched around, however. The following patch notes were posted to Steam, detailing what fans can expect from the third-person tactical shooter. Sniper Elite 5 patch notes: June 27 SE5 update, patch 1.06 General: \u2022 Removed some input delay and softened the edges of the deadzone for \u2018aiming\u2019 input. This should result in better fine aiming control. \u2022 Various fixes to prevent the player falling or hanging through the floor, or getting stuck in the \u2018falling\u2019 animation \u2022 Fixed general collision issues allowing players to walk through some walls in varying locations \u2022 Various fixes to players getting stuck on ladders \u2022 Fixed an issue preventing camera control when a player enters Photo Mode with ironsights \u2022 The free cam has now been restricted slightly in Photo Mode, to avoid exploits during Axis Invasions \u2022 Fixed an issue incorrectly allowing weapon scroll when using a mounted machine gun \u2022 Med Kits will now work as expected on application \u2022 The Precision Machines Receiver attachment will now correctly reduce speed rather than increase it \u2022 The Austen Control Grip will now improve recoil recovery as expected \u2022 Jeff Sullivan\u2019s equipment will now appear as expected when selecting him as a playable character \u2022
