Stellar Blade has certainly caught the attention of the gaming community, and the game\u2019s Director Hyung-Tae Kim believes this could be due to protagonist Eve being one of the game\u2019s main selling points. Not only has she been modeled after a famous Korean model, which Kim notes as having \u201cthe most attractive-looking body,\u201d but the team has even put \u201cextra special attention\u201d into the creation of Eve\u2019s backside. It\u2019s because of the sexualized nature of the main character, that the PS5 exclusive was given an adults-only rating in Korea. Well, it looks like Stellar Blade\u2019s ESRB rating shares a similar rating. Stellar Blade ESRB rating revealed ahead of PS5 launch According to the official ESRB website, Stellar Blade has been rated M for Mature. The main reasons for this rating, are as follows: \u201cBlood-splatter effects occur frequently as enemy creatures are slashed and dismembered. Some cutscenes and battle sequences depict close-up images of impalement, dismemberment, and decapitation. The game depicts some female characters in revealing costumes (e.g., deep cleavage; skintight, flesh-toned body suits), with breasts that jiggle during combat. The word \u201csh*t\u201d appears in the game.\u201d Stellar Blade\u2019s ESRB rating will certainly not come as a surprise, especially since Kim has been vocal when it comes to creating \u201centertainment targeted for adults.\u201d When discussing the reasons behind Eve\u2019s design, the director said: \u201cHonestly, when I play a game, I would like to see someone who is better-looking than myself,\u201d continued Kim. \u201cThat\u2019s what I want. I don\u2019t want to see something normal; I want to see something more ideal.
