Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League has been through the wringer since it launched last month. While I ended up having a generally good time with it in our review, it\u2019s messy and proved to be deeply controversial for fans of the heroes you\u2019re tasked with killing. In the ensuing weeks though, it seems there might be something going on with the story. Hints that not everything is as it seems on the surface, with rumors of the Justice League\u2019s return as good guys circulating around the upcoming seasons. This promised a potential new life with brand new context. However, Suicide Squad has seemingly taken another misstep that\u2019s leaving those still playing struggling to defend it. A new patch has just been released, however, instead of cleaning up issues, it has reportedly only made the game more unstable. This has understandably left many players scratching their heads. The game\u2019s latest patch has some players quitting for now The game\u2019s Reddit is awash with threads of players sharing issues with the patch that has made it harder to play. In one thread, a user decried that they won\u2019t be playing until it gets a new patch. \u201c2 of my achievements are broken, I haven\u2019t been able to load in successfully more and more as each patch drops.\u201d Another said: \u201cLoad times are a lot slower for me at least on console. It takes 5 mins just to get into the game.\u201d Others are explaining that they are failing to load in after completing endgame incursions resulting in lost progress. There is currently a bug report thread on the game\u2019s website that is getting traction with many concurring that they can\u2019t leave the end screen for missions, as Metropolis is refusing to load. \u201cSince this patch, I can\u2019t play incursions without getting this afterward. Hope they fix it soon\u201d. It\u2019s also being reported that some players can\u2019t progress the endgame tiers either, effectively killing the grind for them. This is all salt in the wound for the game that has already had a troubled launch.
