Tomb Raider\u2019s remaster was released on February 14 as an authentic homage to the original edition by updating the game\u2019s graphics and making players\u2019 overall experience more fluid. The remaster was well recieved by the community. In our own review, we rated the game 5\/5 thanks to its take on Laura Croft\u2019s classic adventure. Almost a month after the game\u2019s release, a developer revealed that the version that was released on Epic Games was slightly different from the original. Tomb Raider gets different version on Epic Games The Tomb Raider developers issued an official update for the game via Steam on February 29. Rumors of different assets being available on Epic Games had been surfacing on the internet \u2013 something that was addressed in the update. \u201cA development build with incomplete assets has been available for download on the Epic Games Store,\u201d the post read. \u201cContent in that Epic Games Store build contained some work-in-progress materials that do not represent our final quality expectations. We have corrected the build to match the live Steam version.\u201d Players and fans of the franchise called out the message, arguing that it was not what the developers wanted to put out in the community.
