Over the last year, Disney Dreamlight Valley fans have enjoyed a lot of great content, including new recipes, Realms, characters, and Star Paths. This new content is what keeps the playerbase coming back for more. Thankfully, Gameloft are relatively open with its updates, meaning there\u2019s plenty to look forward to. However, one thing that can be hard to find is when the next update will arrive. So, here\u2019s everything we know about the next Disney Dreamlight Valley update, including when it will be released and what content you can expect. When is Disney Dreamlight Valley\u2019s next update? Disney Dreamlight Valley\u2019s next update will be released in October 2024. The Dapper Delights Star Path ends on October 1 and Gameloft always gives players at least a week or two between the end of a Star Path and the beginning of the next. That means we expect the next update will release in early to mid-October, with October 9 being the earliest possible date. August 2024\u2019s Dapper Delights update added Tiana to the Valley along with the final act of the A Rift in Time expansion, allowing those with the DLC to also unlock Jafar as a Villager. In addition to the new characters, it also introduced a 1920s-themed Star Path and various quality-of-life improvements. Disney Dreamlight Valley roadmap As previously mentioned, Disney Dreamlight Valley is extremely open with its future update plans, meaning we have a handy roadmap to help highlight the upcoming characters, mysteries, Realms, and of course the future of the Rift in Time expansion. In October 2024, we\u2019ll be seeing Timon and Pumbaa arriving in the Valley through the Lion King Realm. As such, we can expect various new quests to arrive. Whether new grub-related recipes are added to the game is yet to be announced, but it\u2019s always a possibility. Beyond the new characters, the devs have said the October update will be \u201csmaller in scope and shorter, with a focus on fixes and quality of life improvements to make your game experience smoother and more enjoyable as we ramp up to a bigger update later in the year.\u201d Then, in Late 2024, which we predict will be around December given the two month gap between most updates, we\u2019ll likely be meeting Sally from The Nightmare Before Christmas. The clues \u201cstitch a new mystery together\u201d and the image of Sally\u2019s dress suggests she\u2019ll be arriving and introducing a new questline filled with puzzles \u2013 but only time can tell. Then, now we\u2019ve had the August 2024 update for Eternity Isle, we\u2019re not certain about the expansion\u2019s future. Thankfully, the roadmap tells players to \u201cTune in for plenty more announcements coming later this year\u201d suggesting there are exciting updates to come. Gameloft revealed that they will provide more information in a Showcase Stream to announce the rest of the year\u2019s content. This may include another expansion following the conclusion of A Rift in Time\u2018s story in August 2024.
