The world of Teyvat is filled with mysteries and the Genshin Impact community has always enjoyed piecing them together. However, as the Traveler continues their adventure in the Fontaine region and prepares for Natlan, many players have begun to turn their attention to Mondstadt – the game’s starting region. Mondstadt is the home of the Anemo Archon and Knights of Favonius, both of which have been influential in the game’s story. However, the Genshin community believes there’s still a “major” secret that has been left untold. Genshin Impact players believe Mondstadt still holds a big secret In fact, many players believe Mondstadt will receive more attention in future updates. “I have a feeling that the story will loop back around to Mondstadt and we’ll get a big expansion on the region,” said one player. “It’d be very impactful if our comfy tutorial region gets threatened in act 7 or 8.” Other commenters also believe Mondstadt still has many unanswered mysteries, particularly when it comes to Venti and Kaeya. “Venti is sus af, his statue in Mondstat raises some eyebrows, specifically the writing on it,” replied one commenter. “We still haven’t met a good chunk of the Favonius Knights. Albedo has ties to Gold, a Khaenrian, Kaeya, and his dubious lineage is in Mondstat… I wouldn’t be surprised if they decide to revisit Mondstat when we get closer to the Khaenrian storylines.” However, arguably the most interesting discovery is the translation of the Teyvat language written on Venti’s statue. “The writing at the base of the Venti statue translates to The Gateway to Celestia,” noted one player. “Celestia being the mysterious floating island high up in the sky positioned somewhere near Fontaine.” Others have also noted that Mondstadt is treated as a prologue chapter and does not receive a “proper numbered chapter.” Whether Mondstadt will be “The Gateway to Celestia” or holds further secrets remains to be seen, but for now, the Genshin community remains hopeful that the Travelers will return for some big reveals.

Genshin Impact players believe Mondstadt still holds a “major” secret HoYoverseWhile many Genshin Impact players have long left the Mondstadt region for Fontaine, that hasn’t stopped the game’s community from pondering what content could be hidden within its castle walls.
