  • ACE Family accused of lying about ticket sales for Family Fest event – Dexerto

ACE Family accused of lying about ticket sales for Family Fest event YouTube: The ACE FamilyThe ACE Family are being accused of faking the number of tickets they’ve sold to their upcoming event, ACE Family Fest, which they claim has completely sold out. Austin McBroom and Catherine Paiz, the faces of The ACE Family YouTube channel, began selling tickets on April 9 for their ACE Family Fest event. Austin and Catherine teased the event as a “mixture of Disneyland and Coachella.” The event is set for July 9, and according to their official website, has been completely sold out. Although the ACE Family claims that they sold out on both the V.I.P Pass as well as the Club Pass, one YouTuber is claiming that the ACE Family is lying about how many tickets they sold. YouTuber claims ACE Family lied about sold-out event YouTuber MadCatster posted a video on April 12 detailing why they believe that the ACE Family Fest is a “scam.” In the video, Catster shows that his friend had added a million tickets from both the Club Pass and V.I.P Pass to their cart, which then revealed how many tickets were available in total. At the time of posting, there were thousands of tickets available for purchase from both tiers. The website revealed that there were nearly 4,000 Club Passes left, as well as over 7,500 V.I.P Passes. Mere hours later, the event read that both Passes were completely sold out. Catster also claims that the event is a “failure” overall and that the number of tickets they’ve actually sold simply can’t support the grand scale of the event they are going for. With the event just around the corner, only time will tell if the event is real and how many people really did buy tickets.

  • Ac7ionMan swatted on Kick as police restrain him at gunpoint – Dexerto

Ac7ionMan swatted on Kick as police restrain him at gunpoint Ac7ionManControversial Kick streamer Ac7ionMan was held at gun point by police officers as he bragged about his sub count after being swatted live on stream. Ac7ionMan has become a prominent creator in the streaming world, amassing hundreds of thousands of followers across Twitch and Kick — although not without controversy. Ac7ionMan has previously come under fire for poking fun at another streamer’s deceased father live on stream on Father’s Day. Not only that, the 34-year-old, whose real name is Aaron Travis, was recently arrested on numerous felony drug charges by Miami law enforcement after being in possession of cocaine and tramadol in October 2023. Ac7ionMan brags about his follower count after being swatted While streamers being swatted isn’t uncommon, during a broadcast on January 8, Ac7ionMan was swatted while live on Kick. Bizarrely the 34-year-old began boasting about his follower count to the authorities. As the officers instructed him on what to do he attempted to explain that he was a “famous YouTuber.” “I’m a famous YouTuber. It’s just me and my buddy making content,” he said. “Do you guys want me to come out? Ma’am, I’m a famous YouTuber, Ma’am I have three million subscribers.” He added: “I’m not trying to disrespect you I’m sorry. Yes Ma’am I apologize, I’m a YouTuber.” Afterward, Ac7ionMan can be heard arguing with the officers, where the streamer tried to explain that it was a prank call made by one of his 20,000 viewers watching live in an attempt to troll him. However, despite his attempts to try and explain the situation, the authorities didn’t quite seem to understand. It isn’t the first Ac7ionMan has been swatted by trolls, and likely won’t be the last either. Regardless, thankfully, nobody was hurt.

  • Absurd Dominio’s order trick goes viral after customer keeps getting free pizzas – Dexerto

Absurd Dominio’s order trick goes viral after customer keeps getting free pizzas TikTok/blackoutsboxA TikToker may have found a way to get free pizzas from Dominio’s through a real-life hack when picking up an order from the store. Who doesn’t love free food? In this economy, many people have resorted to desperate measures to save money and even found bizarre ways to get pizzas without paying a dime. In a couple of viral videos on TikTok, user ‘blackoutsbox’ revealed a secret trick he does when he orders that somehow has landed him multiple free Domino’s pizzas and it’s exactly as ridiculous as it sounds. His primary method? Asking for paper plates. We’re dead serious. Domino’s paper plates trick gets customers free pizzas In a series of videos, blackoutsbox explained that first, users need to order their pizza online and arrange to pick up the order at the store to pay. Once at the restaurant, when the order is on the counter, you should distract the cashier by inquiring about paper plates to take their mind off of payment. In the first video, which was viewed millions of times, the TikToker was never asked to pay and was able to walk out of Domino’s with the pizza in hand. “If they don’t charge me, it’s their fault!” the TikToker said. “Now you understand the mystery of free pizza and paper plates. Never asked to see my phone. Never charged me. Not my fault.” However, blackoutsbox went on to note that there have been times when he is asked to pay, so the hack isn’t foolproof by any means. That said, the fact he’s been able to get free pizza multiple times is definitely a sign that the trick can be effective. In the comments, other users explained their success ordering online and picking at the store while also joking about the hack being similar to a video game glitch. “By asking for paper plates it actually cancels the animation of the cashier taking your payment! Make sure to use this on your next speed run!” one humored. “I ordered Domino’s online last night & clicked pay at store, when I picked it up they just handed it to me. They asked if I paid online I said ‘I think so I don’t remember,’” revealed another. “As a previous Domino’s employee, there’s a small thing on the receipt that says if they paid yet or not, that’s it. Just about half our carry out pizzas were never actually paid for,” someone else explained. Given the popularity of the videos, it’s not clear if the restaurant has wised up and is checking to make sure pizzas are paid for, so be sure to only try this at your own risk and be sure to pay if you’re asked to.

  • ABC News trolled into fake Dr Disrespect birthday message by Forsen fans – Dexerto

ABC News trolled into fake Dr Disrespect birthday message by Forsen fans Dr Disrespect/UnsplashFans of Twitch streamer Forsen managed to pull a fast one on ABC news by getting them to give Dr Disrespect a birthday message with a twist. There are plenty of mischievous followers of big content creators out there, looking to pull pranks on unsuspecting streamers, social media users, and beyond. Some even set their targets higher and want to bamboozle television shows and radio hosts in order to one up their fellow pranksters. Fans of Twitch star Sebastian ‘Forsen’ Fors have become renowned for such pranks, typically getting people to wish Forsen a happy birthday or congratulations for something he didn’t do. However, this time, it wasn’t Forsen being used in the prank, but rather Dr Disrespect. They managed to get ABC 9 in Syracuse, New York to wish the former Twitch streamer a happy birthday, but used his real name – Guy Beahm – as well as a picture of him. “Guy! Happy Birthday Guy, here’s to your 40s they say, bringing you even more momentum and success,” read the unsuspecting news host as an out-of-character shot of the Doc sat on-screen. “Keep on being a champion. This comes from the love of your life and your beautiful family – your wife Nina and baby boy Sebastian. Happy Birthday Guy!” Nina and Sebastian here, of course, being a reference to Forsen and his girlfriend. Thankfully, for fans not in the area, someone managed to clip the moment and share it around, and even got it on the radar of Twitch streamers like Nymn. As some viewers pointed out, going after the smaller, local stations has been pretty successful for these trolls as they’ve been able to get repeated messages on there for the likes of Forsen and xQc. It might leave the news crew with egg on their face once they find out that they’re the butt of the joke, but it provides a pretty funny moment for Twitch viewers afterwards.

  • RiceGum secretly films Abby Rao’s furious reaction to “new crush” video – Dexerto

RiceGum secretly films Abby Rao’s furious reaction to “new crush” video Instagram: rice, abbyrao[jwplayer ksH6zuKH]TikTok star Abby Rao has slammed ex-boyfriend RiceGum for posting a video with his “new crush” to their joint YouTube channel – and RiceGum shared audio of their phone call for his viewers to hear. At the start of 2019, the pair started to frequently appear together and it became clear that they were a couple. They then broke up towards the tail end of the year and the relationship since has been very up and down. Now, though, it’s not looking great, as RiceGum has shown footage of him taking a phone call from Abby after he uploaded a new video to their joint channel – and she wasn’t happy with it. RiceGum, real name Brian Le, and Rao share a YouTube channel called FamilyGum, where they used to upload videos together throughout their relationship. Obviously, with their breakup, the channel became obsolete – until RiceGum decided to upload a new video titled “We Broke Up So I’m Meeting My New Crush” on July 11, with a new girl that obviously wasn’t Abby. Naturally, Abby wasn’t impressed, and she called Rice after the upload to let him know that she didn’t appreciate it. What she probably didn’t expect, though, was that RiceGum would film the call and put it in his next YouTube upload. “Bryan, what are you doing?” She asked when he finally answered her call. “Did you really f**king upload a video with that girl on FamilyGum? What is wrong with you?” Timestamp 1:21 After laughing at the ordeal and clearly not being sure how to respond, Le hangs up on Rao and leaves it at that. In the video, Rice also says that he doesn’t think he did anything wrong and that he didn’t really have anything to say to Abby, and that she regularly “blows him up” with calls but he never responds. Needless to say, Abby isn’t impressed with RiceGum’s actions, but it doesn’t look like he’s apologizing any time soon.

  • Abby Rao responds to “heartless” hate after RiceGum breakup – Dexerto

Abby Rao responds to “heartless” hate after RiceGum breakup Instagram model Abby Rao parted ways with YouTube star Bryan “RiceGum” Le in mid-November after nearly ten months of dating – but some fans weren’t happy with this development. The two sparked breakup rumors after unfollowing each other on social media, with names like Drama Alert’s KEEMSTAR later confirming their split, but Rao remained relatively silent on the matter, until now. In an exclusive interview with celebrity news outlet Hollywood Life, she opened up about her breakup with RiceGum, as well as the ensuing hate that followed. Much like YouTuber Corinna Kopf’s split with Fortnite pro Tfue, fans accused Rao of using RiceGum for “clout,” calling her a “gold digger” – but the hate didn’t just start with their breakup. “I fully knew that was gonna happen,” the Instagram star said of the ensuing hate train. “When we started dating, everyone was like, ‘Oh, you’re a clout chaser! You’re a gold digger!’ I get crazy evil, evil messages. …I was getting an influx of hate. And like, ‘Oh, I knew this was gonna happen, you did this as soon as you get the clout.’ It’s really heartless.” As for the specifics of their split, Rao claimed that she and Le parted ways after discovering they shared different goals in life, which ended up making the couple “clash.” “I was just really destroyed,” she admitted. “I think with us two, the love was so strong and it still is. I still love him. I think we just wanted different things, and I think that we cared about different things… I wanted to focus on the things I cared about, like life things, and he kind of wanted to care about more his career. It just caused us to clash.” RiceGum introduced Rao to the world in a YouTube video on January 11 to ample speculation, with many accusing the model of using Le for his money. It appears that their mindset still hasn’t changed following their breakup – but luckily for Rao, she continues to receive uplifting messages in the fallout of a romance with such a high-profile social media star.

  • Abby Rao fires back at RiceGum after he shades her during Twitch stream – Dexerto

Abby Rao fires back at RiceGum after he shades her during Twitch stream Abby Rao, Instagram / Ricegum, YouTubeYouTube star RiceGum and Instagram model Abby Rao notably parted ways in November 2019 — but it doesn’t look like the drama around their breakup is over, as evidenced by a statement made in Ricegum’s Twitch stream months later. During an interview with Hollywood Life after their split, Rao admitted that she and RiceGum shared different life goals, which ultimately caused the couple to “clash.” Despite admitting that she still loved him and remaining diplomatic on the issue, RiceGum hit out at the model months later during an April 2020 live stream via Twitch where he opened up on their split (a broadcast that also got him banned from the platform). In his stream, the YouTuber accused Rao of being too clingy, claiming that he was trying to focus on his own life and career without receiving support from her. “The main thing is like, she didn’t support me,” he claimed. “I was just trying to do me, and I felt like she was just too on my nuts type of s**t, so… I could do a ten-minute video to explain it, but to dumb it down, she was on my nuts too much. Like, no cap.” https://www.instagram.com/p/B-xQx1FA95I/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link Rao hit back at his accusations in a series of emotional videos via her Instagram stories hours later, arguing that she’d never spoken ill of her ex-boyfriend and hadn’t even been public with other men in wake of their breakup. “I’ve never once said anything f**ked up he’s done to me, or any of the f**ked up ways he treated me, and beat me down mentally, and constantly made me feel like he made me,” she explained. “…he’s just mad that I don’t want to be with him any more!” Rao went on to admit that she was hurt by his words, and even alleged that he’d accused her of getting too comfortable with other men in wake of her move to TikTokker Daisy Keech’s ‘Club House.’ “After everything we’ve been through together, that’s what you have to say?” she continued. “I’m so hurt. I’ve never even been seen online with another guy. Meanwhile, he’s on his private Instagram with a stripper on his lap.” The model has since decided to shelve the issue and wishes her ex-boyfriend well — a decision that comes in wake of an avalanche of “heartless” hate she received after their 2019 breakup.

  • Abby Lee Miller faces backlash for roasting Noah Beck’s Instagram pics – Dexerto

Abby Lee Miller faces backlash for roasting Noah Beck’s Instagram pics Lifetime / YouTube: Noah BeckFamed ‘Dance Moms’ personality and competitive dance instructor Abby Lee Miller is causing quite the stir on social media lately — most recently, for calling out TikTok star Noah Beck for something completely random. [jwplayer ZXB9LNVP] Abby Lee Miller is best known for her appearances on Dance Moms, a Lifetime reality television show that follows young dancers through the brutal world of competitive dance. It seems that Miller has jumped on the social media trend, and has sparked quite a bit of backlash from younger users after calling out some of TikTok’s biggest stars on Instagram. Now, it seems that Miller is setting her sights on the Sway House’s Noah Beck, who shifted from collegiate soccer player to TikTok superstar in June. View this post on Instagram Working in my hospital room!!! I have to! I love it! I won’t let the pain tarnish my smile! There’s just too much to do – Too many legs to straighten and feet to pointe! When #ALDC dancers are wearing your merch Instead of mine, we have a problem!” she wrote. “It’s time to critique your most-watched video! You prob just stand around looking pretty in it anyway. Let’s goooooo handsome!” ALDC refers to the Abby Lee Dance Academy, which, as its name suggests, is Lee’s very own dance studio. Apparently, she isn’t too happy about her dancers showing off their Sway merch when they come in to practice — but commenters aren’t letting her get away with the oddly snappy comment. Plenty of fans lashed out at Lee in the comments section, with one writing, “You’re really crazy haha omg, if you want attention, don’t do it offending other people.” “UR TIME [H]AS EXPIRED, ABBY,” another replied. “Aren’t you like a full grown a** adult gee? Will you let kids live their lives for goodness sake?” This is far from the first time Lee has faced criticism from TikTok fans over similar instances; Lee also hit out at none other than Charli D’Amelio just a week prior, writing on one of her Instagram pics, “TikTok dancer who reins supreme — please turn those feet out!” However, it’s also worthwhile for critics to note that Lee has been battling Burkitt lymphoma since 2018, and has been in and out of the hospital recently due to her condition. It appears that Lee is taking her drill-sergeant-esque coaching personality from the studio to the social media world in the interim — but it doesn’t look like everyone is necessarily here for her Instagram activity.

  • A stream sniping hacker in Warzone is haunting TimTheTatman’s matches – Dexerto

A stream sniping hacker in Warzone is haunting TimTheTatman’s matches TimTheTatmanWinning a match in Warzone is tough at the best of times, but TimTheTatman’s win rate has taken a dive while a stream sniping hacker continues to target him. If the wave of game-breaking glitches, broken guns, and skill-based matchmaking weren’t enough to put you off of Warzone, then a new variant of hacker just might. While Activision has been clamping down on cheaters in Warzone, there are still times where few manage to get through the net. Unfortunately, one such hacker has his sights firmly set on Call of Duty content creator, Timothy ‘TimTheTatman’ Betar. In fact, this Warzone player has been busy stream sniping Tim’s lobbies and actively hunting him down on stream. Not only has this led to some incredibly frustrating moments for the Warzone player, it has also stopped him from winning a number of high killcount games. TimTheTatman Warzone record ruined by stream sniping hacker Losing Warzone games to those running wallhacks and aimbot is frustrating at the best of times, but for Call of Duty Twitch streamer TimTheTatman, it has become an all too familiar occurrence. In fact, this one hacker has been targeting Tim whenever he begins streaming. “This guy in particular, literally killed me two days in a row. The crazy part was, I didn’t even know he was cheating at first!” It was only when Tim’s chat notified him that the player in question was a hacker, that he started to see him cropping up in more of his Warzone lobbies. At one point, the hacker even actively decided to avoid killing Tim’s teammate NICKMERCS, further rubbing salt into the wound. However, things took a turn for the worse when the aimbotter ruined Tim’s attempts at breaking his personal record. “A lot of you know that I’m not necessarily the best player, but every once in a while, I’ll pop off,” says Tim. “This game, in particular, I was popping off. This was a PR pace game.” As of writing, the most kills Tim has ever gotten in a single match is 29. Things were looking good for Tim as he secured 21 kills from the early to mid-game. “It was very, very possible that I could break my own personal record, says Tim. Unfortunately, his hopes were quickly cut short after he realized that the same hacker from previous games had tracked him down once again. During the final rounds of the game, Tim realized that he was being constantly downed by a sniper. However, this sniper wasn’t only incredibly accurate with the placement of their shots, they were only aiming for Tim. “At this point, my whole mission is to kill this sniper, he’s trolling me,” exclaimed the streamer. It was clear Tim was agitated and he quickly began to hunt down the perpetrator. However, as soon as he entered a nearby vehicle, the hacker instantly downed Tim. This was met with loud laughter from his squadmates CouRageJD, FaZe Doozy, and FaZe Santana. “It’s the same f****** kid from three days in a row,” Tim loudly shouted as he repeatedly hit his desk. “I blocked his other account and he made another one. I f****** hate you, I do, I do,” said Tim. “He’s cheated on me three days in a row and he keeps making new accounts. This is a PR game and your bullsh**ting!” Despite being killed by the hacker, Tim’s team went onto win the game, but whether this particular player will rear their head in another of his stream remains to be seen.

  • A new Vine app could be going live very soon – Dexerto

A new Vine app could be going live very soon A long-awaited successor to the Vine app might be hitting the market sooner than expected, according to Tweets from the original application’s co-founder, Dom Hoffman. Hoffman wrote that he is working on ‘follow-up’ to the famous six-second camera application in his personal time, and admitted that it will not be called ‘Vine 2’ as previously reported. Additionally, Hoffman revealed that the program will go live for beta testing in the near future, and even created an limited call for testers in the V2 community forums on October 8. i am continuing to work personally on a follow up to vine. it’s turning out well and will not be called v2. i sincerely apologize and totally understand if these tweets have been annoying (or worse) to you. today’s tweets will be the last about it until i share concrete details. — dom hofmann (@dhof) October 8, 2018 While there is no timeline as to when invites for the test will be sent out, sign ups for the opportunity have since ended as of October 10. Lucky users who have made the list will receive a ‘special badge or reward’ within the application for their beta testing services. While Vine’s return is certainly exciting, Hoffman states that the new app’s success will largely depend on its community – much like that of its famed predecessor. “Vine was 99% community and 1% the app we built for them,” he Tweeted. “So ‘Vine’ being ‘back’ really comes down to whether or not the community is there, regardless of the name or who made it.” vine was 99% community and 1% the app we built for them. so “”vine”” being “”back”” really comes down to whether or not the community is there. regardless of the name or who made it. i like to think that i can build a team and app that encourages that, but otherwise i have no claim. — dom hofmann (@dhof) October 8, 2018 Many famous personalities on the Vine app have since migrated to YouTube, such as infamous YouTuber Logan Paul and social media star Liza Koshy. While the original application was absorbed by Twitter and installed as ‘Vine camera,’ it has since completely died off – but Hoffman and the ‘V2’ community could very well bring it back from the dead.

A group of ex-Twitter employees just announced their own platform Twitter: PhonzA group of former Twitter employees has announced that they are making their own social media platform, just weeks after being laid off by Elon Musk. On October 27, Elon Musk revealed that he had officially become the owner of Twitter after months of deliberation between him and former Twitter admins. Musk began mass layoffs in the company shortly after, leading many to jump over to alternate platforms as many began to believe Twitter was dying. Now, former Twitter employees have announced that they’re working on a new social media website they like to call: Spill. Ex-Twitter employees introduce a new social platform On December 16, Phonz — the former Global Head of Social & Editorial at Twitter — revealed the new platform in a series of tweets. “looking for a good alt to the bird app? we gotchu. HYPED to introduce Spill: a next-gen social platform that puts culture first, brought to you by a group of ex-Tweeps,” he said. In the first tweet, Phonz also shared a link where users can reserve their username on the upcoming platform. In the thread, the former Twitter employee revealed that Spill will not be “another Twitter,” but will be something fresh that he says will “push social media forward.” Explaining it further, Spill will be marketed to everyone and uses “large language model AI” to improve moderation and customer support, as well as partnerships with major brands to premiere content and more. They are apparently in the very early days of their build but are aiming to have an early alpha available to users by early July — so nothing is available to use yet. Many have called for former Twitter employees to do just this since Musk’s takeover in October, noting various issues with other websites like Mastodon or Hive Social. It seems to be a hit so far as well, as over 10,000 people have reserved their names on the upcoming platform in the hours following its announcement. We’ll be sure to update you when Spill goes live in 2023.

  • A feud between RiceGum and Jake Paul could be brewing ahead of boxing rematch – Dexerto

A feud between RiceGum and Jake Paul could be brewing ahead of boxing rematch Popular YouTuber Bryan ‘RiceGum’ Le called out social media star Jake Paul in a now-deleted Tweet, where he referenced Paul’s boxing match with YouTuber ‘Deji’ Olatunji. RiceGum roasted Paul for having less views on his most recent vlog, which had been uploaded just fifteen minutes before RiceGum’s latest video went live on October 26. RiceGum apparently found some humor in the disparity, citing Paul’s recent feature on Shane Dawson’s documentary series and his boxing match on the Logan Paul vs KSI card in late August. “How do you do YouTube boxing and get eight Shane Dawson shoutouts and this happens? 😂😂😂,” he wrote over a screenshot of he and Jake’s respective videos. RiceGum has since deleted the Tweet in question and changed the title of his video, which now has over 2,117,000 views. Paul’s vlog is still coming in at second place, sitting at 2,041,000 views as of October 28. However, Drama Alert host KEEMSTAR pointed out that Paul’s lack of viewership in comparison to RiceGum may not be the fault of Paul’s audience. In fact, he claimed that it might be due to YouTube itself, which has recently come under fire from multiple YouTube personalities, including the likes of H3H3 and Markiplier. With the Logan Paul vs KSI rematch coming in early summer of 2019, RiceGum’s callout to Jake Paul could hint at the two YouTubers as potential opponents – although Paul mentioned the possibility of throwing down with an NFL player in Shane Dawson’s series. Paul has yet to respond to RiceGum’s Tweet.

  • A-chan is leaving Hololive after 7 years of service – Dexerto

A-chan is leaving Hololive after 7 years of service DexertoLong-term employee and head of content Yuujin A – better known as A-chan – is leaving Hololive, bringing an end to seven years of service to the VTuber agency. For those familiar with Hololive or VTubing as a whole, A-chan is a household name. She started as Tokino Sora’s technician in 2017 and worked her way up to eventually become Hololive’s head of content. A-chan is one of Cover Corporation’s longest-serving employees, having built up a following not dissimilar in size to Hololive’s many talents and even CEO Motoaki “YAGOO” Tanigo. However, A-chan has now announced on X/Twitter that she is leaving Hololive. The announcement reads: “I, [A-chan], will be leaving Hololive Productions at the end of June. The reason we were able to keep going this far without stopping is because of the wonderful talents and staff… And without a doubt, it is all thanks to all the warm fans who have supported Hololive Pro. Thank you so much for the past 7 years!” Going into more detail, an attached message revealed that A-chan is departing at the end of the month because “it seems highly unlikely that I will be able to return to work as planned,” though any specifics beyond that are not revealed. Regardless, A-chan focused on the positives, expressing, “It has been an absolute pleasure to get to know all of you through this new VTuber culture. I’ve also managed to grow through this career, and I can say with confidence that these days have been extremely fulfilling, both personally and professionally.” It didn’t take long for Hololive’s talents to pay tribute, with Natsuiro Matsuri responding, “Thank you, A-chan, for always supporting Hololive. I really want to spend more time with you, but I wish you happiness in the future. Let’s go out for dinner again. I love it.” Similarly, Akai Haato replied, “Thank you so much, A-chan. I’ll try my best to become a professional like Haachama Moe-chan! Leave the rest to me!I hope you continue to be in good health!!!” Even Tokino Sora herself got involved, commenting, “I’m glad we were able to work together for seven years! There are so many memories. Thank you!!!I would be happy if I had the chance to meet you again! I’ll be rooting for you in the future too, see you!!!” The tributes continued with Sakura Miko, Oozara Subaru, Yukihana Lamy, Takane Lui, Shishiro Botan, and many more all thanking A-chan for her hard work over the years. Even some EN members like Mori Calliope, Koseki Bijou, and FUWAMOCO also thanked A-chan, showing how her contributions are just as appreciated by Hololive members across the globe. While A-chan’s departure has proven emotional, Hololive as a whole has been undergoing a golden age as of late. The VTuber agency not only debuted Justice to an overwhelmingly positive reception, but they also announced EN’s second concert is coming – Breaking Dimensions.

  • 92-year-old woman “slays” at ex’s funeral and outrages his family – Dexerto

92-year-old woman “slays” at ex’s funeral and outrages his family TikTok: grandma_droniakA 92-year-old TikTok star crashed her ex-man’s funeral for some petty revenge — and ended up sparking the ire of his family in a viral online saga. Lillian Droniak is 92 years old, but that hasn’t stopped her from being one of TikTok’s leading ladies. Also known as ‘Grandma Droniak,’ she’s known for her sassy videos and no-holds-barred commentary, often shading her exes or doctors who tell her to slow down due to her age. Her bold content has garnered her over 6 million avid followers who can’t get enough of TikTok’s resident sassy granny. It’s clear that age isn’t stopping Droniak one bit — and it certainly didn’t put a damper on her plans to crash one of her ex-boyfriends’ funerals. The saga began after Granny Droniak revealed that one of her exes had passed away in November, and therefore, finally stopped hitting her line. In another video, Droniak showed herself getting gussied up for the funeral, saying she wanted to go see him “so I can say, ‘So long!’” “I don’t wanna put too much makeup on,” she explained as she applied some blush. “I don’t wanna steal the show!” Well, it turns out that that’s exactly what Grandma Droniak ended up doing. Although she didn’t post any videos of the ceremony itself, she did upload a short fit check, saying she was the “best dressed” at the funeral. TikTok Grandma takes over social media after “slaying” at ex’s funeral “I think I slayed the funeral, but rip Bruce you were handsome,” she captioned the video, which has accrued over 1.5 million likes. It turns out that her TikTok fans weren’t the only ones taking notice of Bruce’s funerary saga; apparently, his daughter also became aware of Droniak’s videos, who apparently sent the TikToker an angry email arguing that she didn’t “slay” the funeral. “I can’t believe you made a joke on TikTok about him passing and you slaying at his funeral,” the daughter allegedly wrote. “Your rude and I hope you stop ‘slaying’ soon… if you know what I mean.” Granny Droniak says that she simply sent a “you’re” in response. You go, Grandma!

  • $92 million TikTok settlement approved by Illinois judge for class-action lawsuit – Dexerto

$92 million TikTok settlement approved by Illinois judge for class-action lawsuit Unsplash.com: Solen FeyissaA federal judge based in Illinois has officially approved a $92 million settlement as the result of a class-action lawsuit against TikTok that shook up the internet last year. In Fall 2021, TikTok users in the United States were met with a message that claimed U.S. residents who’d used the app before October 1, 2021 might be eligible for a class-action settlement payment. Plaintiffs filed a class-action complaint against the company, claiming that TikTok had “violated federal and state law by collecting and using, without sufficient notice and consent, Plaintiffs’ personal data in connection with their use of the TikTok – Make Your Day video-sharing application.” If approved, those who had filed claims against TikTok were set to receive $92,000,000 — but the actual payout for individual users would have been quite small. If the millions of US users had all filed, each would only receive around 70 cents. Months later, a federal judge has approved the settlement, awarding a whopping $92 million to American users who’d made videos on the app prior to September 30, 2021. However, it looks like Illinois residents are set to receive the lion’s share of this payout, as two classes of plaintiffs were laid out by the suit — one for Illinois-based users, and one for those in the other 49 states. Why are Illinois users receiving more money from the TikTok settlement? Illinois users are slated to receive the same amount as other American residents, but with five additional shares each due to the state’s Biometric Information Privacy Act. According to a press release outlining the settlement details, TikTok had reportedly violated both Federal law and the Illinois Biometric Information Privacy Act. The Illinois Biometric Information Privacy Act provides protections for the distribution of user’s biometric information. As stated in the press release, TikTok had purportedly collected this date and shared it with third parties. Plaintiff representative Elizabeth Fegan explained the lawsuit in a statement: “In this class action suit, we alleged that TikTok’s technological sophistication enabled them to collect billions of user attributes, ranging from eye color to people’s facial expressions and physical gestures and use that data without disclosure to the consumers.” Who is eligible for payment from the TikTok class action lawsuit? Those eligible for payments include users who filed a claim to be part of the suit prior to March 1, 2022 and had created videos on the app prior to September 30, 2021. Plaintiffs will receive their settlement funds via electronic payment unless otherwise specified. This massive payout follows a slew of other lawsuits against the company — several of which are from grieving parents who claim their children died after watching dangerous challenges on the app.

90 Day Fiance star reveals insane payday from selling jarred breast sweat in wild TikTok TikTok/stepankamatto31-year-old 90 Day Fiance star Stephanie Matto has revealed the fortune she’s been making selling jarred boob sweat to thirsty fans on a series of wild TikTok videos. The gross jarred item business has become quite the viral internet sensation in recent years. From “Gamer Girl Bathwater” to Amouranth’s jarred farts, content creators have been earning a pretty penny selling their controversial items. Now, Stephanie Matto has returned to the business. After a health scare involving selling jarred farts caused her to switch into selling NFTs, the former 90 Day Fiance star is back to her roots, but this time it’s not farts she’s selling. In a series of TikToks, Matto revealed how she’s now selling bottles of her breast sweat and she’s making bank off it. (Click here if TikTok fails to load) Stephanie Matto makes thousands selling breast sweat In a TikTok posted on May 27, Matto bragged that she was making “thousands of dollars” off her sweat and documented exactly how she does it. “All you need is bottles, sun, cha chas, and sit out like a maple tree for hours,” she explained. In a follow-up video, Matto filmed her reaction to finding out how much money she made in just one week of selling her boob sweat, claiming she earned a whopping $30,000. (Click here if TokTok fails to load) If the number is accurate, that means that customers are spending over $4,000 per day on the jars. Plus, in an interview with Jam Press, Matto claimed it can take her just fifteen minutes to produce a jar, which she then sells for $500. “If boob sweat is the new side hustle, I’m here for it,” she exclaimed. “It’s going to be a hot girl summer, and my boobs are sweating, so let’s bottle it and sell it.” Only time will tell if this new business will last even into the fall and winter months, but before Matto can think of raking up leaves, the only thing she’ll be raking this summer is cold hard cash.

  • 90 Day Fiance star switches to selling fart jar NFTs after heart attack scare – Dexerto

90 Day Fiance star switches to selling fart jar NFTs after heart attack scare Instagram: stepankamatto90 Day Fiance star Stephanie Matto has turned her ‘fart jar’ business into NFTs after she was hospitalized following a health scare. In 2021, the popularity of NFTs (non-fungible tokens) grew at an extraordinary rate, with a number of big names getting involved, including popular YouTuber Logan Paul. But to kick off 2022, the latest addition to the NFT game has potentially one of the most bizarre backstories yet. Former 90 Day Fiance star Stephanie Matto caught people’s attention in December when she revealed she made almost $50,000 a week selling her farts in jars, saying: “I think my main motivation was money, but I also thought it’d be a hilarious publicity move that would get a lot of people’s attention.” She even allowed herself “cheat days” every week where she would indulge in certain types of foods that she knew would “make [her] more gassy.” However, she has now revealed that she has decided to stop selling the jars after she was hospitalized due to “overdoing it.” The reality star told Jam Press: “I thought I was having a stroke and that these were my final moments.” “I didn’t tell my doctors about the farting in the jar but I did tell them about my diet. It was made clear that what I was experiencing wasn’t a stroke or heart attack but very intense gas pains,” she went on to say. The doctors advised her to change her diet and take gas suppressant medication. Click here if TikTok doesn’t load However, it looks like Stephanie isn’t planning on letting her ‘fart jar’ business stop entirely. In January she announced the launch of her own collection of ‘fart jar NFTs,’ with one jar costing 0.05 ETH. Her site also reveals that 100 tokens can be redeemed for a real fart jar. Read More: What is the ‘Mop Top’ hairstyle on TikTok? – “There has never been a more unique & iconic launch of digital fart art! We put the art in fart!” she wrote in an Instagram post announcing the launch of the project. The star’s business has certainly caused a stir online, though it likely won’t be the last strange NFT to catch people’s attention.

  • 9-year-old bullied after bringing fake Stanley cup to school – Dexerto

9-year-old bullied after bringing fake Stanley cup to school Instagram: tumblershop22A nine-year-old was called out by classmates after they brought a fake Stanley cup to school, causing outrage over on TikTok as people jumped to her defense. In a video that’s since been deleted, a mother took to TikTok, sharing an outrageous incident that involved her nine-year-old daughter. With over 3 million views, Dayna Motycka, discusses the incident, which started with the purchase of a fake Stanley cup priced at under $10 that she thought was cute. However, after returning after the holiday break, her daughter was upset after she was teased by all 10 classmates, who received a ‘real,’ branded Stanley cup for Christmas. “They made sure to let her know that this is not a real Stanley, that this is fake and it’s not as cool… She asks if she can have a real Stanley,” she reveals. “Do I think that a 9-year-old needs a Stanley?” she asks. “No. Do I have one? Yes, I have one. I don’t have 50 Stanleys in all different colors. I’m not going to Target and fighting other women or moms to try and get the new Valentine’s Day one. I have one,” Dayna continues. The situation led her to purchase an authentic Stanley cup for her daughter to take to school. She concludes: “We have got to teach our kids to not make other kids feel inferior for not having the thing that they have. That’s it. That’s where it starts and it starts with us as parents.” Following on from the video, she posted an update, reflecting that she was just as culpable as her daughter when it came to yearning over trendy items. TikTok outraged as 9-year-old bullied for bringing fake Stanley cup to school After the video was posted on social media, many people were quick to weigh in on the situation. Many praised Dayna for the way she handled the situation, writing: “You should be proud of your self-awareness here! Sounds like you’re def trying your best.” “Being a mom is hard, being a decent human being is hard to find. You’re doing great, we can’t get it right all the time,” another stated reassuringly. Some, however, had different feelings on the matter: “Agree with you completely… BUT also as a parent/adult, we can buy those things because we work and make money. Kids should understand that too.” “I hear you, completely, and I applaud your honesty, but we pay the bills…when they pay the bills…they can buy it,” another concurred. One stated that this debate was nothing new, writing: “There has always been a brand that everyone has to have. I am 50 and when I was young, I had to have a POLO shirt because it was so in.” The Stanley cups have been making waves, with some people even going so far as to pay $150 for a photo of the coveted pink cups.

  • 9-year-old beats Mr Beast & PewDiePie as 2020’s highest-paid YouTuber – Dexerto

9-year-old beats Mr Beast & PewDiePie as 2020’s highest-paid YouTuber YouTube/Ryan’s WorldA Forbes list of the highest-paid YouTube stars of 2020 has been revealed and a 9-year-old has topped the chart, apparently raking in close to $30 million. When you think of the highest-paid YouTubers on the platform, names such as Mr Beast, PewDiePie, David Dobrik, and Dude Perfect come to mind. These are all well-known personalities that pull millions of views every single time they upload. However, although these creators are near the top of the pecking order, none of them quite reached the heights of one particular 9-year-old in 2020. YouTube’s top earner is a 9-year-old toy reviewer A list from Forbes has revealed the estimated top earners on Youtube for the year 2020. For the most part, the list contains a number of familiar faces including David Dobrik at #9, Markiplier at #5, and Dude Perfect at #3. The biggest surprise for some will be the number one position. It may have been assumed by a lot of people that Mr Beast would secure the top spot after a year of countless viral videos and insane channel growth. In total, he reached over 3 billion views in 2020 and acquired an estimated $29.5 million in earnings. However, these numbers were only enough to secure him an impressive second place. The top spot was taken by Ryan Kaji or better known for his YouTube toy channel, Ryan’s World. The 9-year-old YouTube star blew the competition out of the water, hitting over 12 billion views and earning an estimated $29.5 million. This is Ryan’s second year at the top, holding the number one position from last year’s list. Considering the amount of success Mr Beast had had this year, it really puts into perspective the number of views Ryan has accumulated. It’s obvious there’s a huge younger audience seeking toy-related content and parents looking for videos for their children to watch. By the looks of it, the toy-related YouTube channels will continue to dominate the top earner’s list long into the future. There’s no sign of the views dropping off and Ryan’s channel is just getting bigger and bigger.

  • 9 of the tastiest McDonald’s “secret menu” items from TikTok – Dexerto

9 of the tastiest McDonald’s “secret menu” items from TikTok TikTok/Unsplash: Alex MotocFor years, rumors have swirled about fast food and coffee outlets having an exclusive, “secret” menu where you can only get certain special off-menu items if you know what to ask for. Now, as foodies continue to flock to TikTok, users have uncovered secret menu items in outlets such as Starbucks and McDonald’s. McDonald’s is known for having a pretty iconic menu, including staples like Happy Meals, Big Macs and McFlurrys (that is, on the rare occasion where ice cream machines actually work). But, did you know that the restaurant had a range of secret menu items including milk tea, Monster Macs and even Ronald McDonald cake? TikTokers have shared a vast range of tasty treats that you can add to jazz up your usual drive-thru order, and here we’ve shared nine of the best ones! 1. Snickers Coffee If you’ve ever wanted an iced coffee that tastes exactly like Snickers, you’ve come to the right place! Start off by ordering an iced hazlenut coffee. Then, if you are ordering on the screen, press ‘customize ingredients’ and add the following: two servings of caramel drizzle, one pump of chocolate syrup, one pump of chocolate caramel syrup and a topping of whipped cream. If you are speaking to someone to order, be sure to ask for the aforementioned additions to your iced hazlenut coffee. 2. Espresso Milkshake This one isn’t so much of a secret order than it is a DIY job, but it’s so delicious and easy it seemed a waste to not include it! All you need to do is order a vanilla milkshake, a shot of espresso, pour the espresso in the milkshake and voila! 3. McDonald’s Cake There have been a lot of rumors about whether the McDonald’s cake actually exists, but user ‘bxiebxrbie’ seemed to settle the score once and for all by ordering one for herself! The cake is usually reserved for employees and other special occasions, but depending on what store you visit, you can purchase a whole chocolate sheet cake with vanilla frosting and Ronald McDonald in the center for only $9. You might be out of luck depending on which store you visit, but with enough persistence and maybe a talk with the manager, you never know! 4. Ice cream topped with chilli sauce You might be a bit sceptical about whether a McFlurry topped with chilli oil is a recipe for disaster, but after the trend went viral in China, Australian Buzzfeed producer Ryan Paturzo took it to TikTok in a viral video, whereupon trying the trend for himself revealed that it “creates a salty and sweet creamy flavour with a crunchy texture.” Sounds irresistible! 5. Milk tea Milk tea – or boba tea – has surged in popularity in recent years. While McDonald’s is yet to make their own version of the iconic drink, you can make your version on the menu for just $1. All you need to ask for is a half cut sweet tea with a pump of hazlenut and three creamers. https://www.tiktok.com/@emilylamme/video/6853580946441112838 6. Mango, pineapple, and strawberry-banana smoothie Although this exact smoothie isn’t on the menu, all you need to do is ask for a mango, pineapple and strawberry-banana smoothie mixed and then you will get the rainbow smoothie you’ve been dreaming of. 7. Neapolitan ice cream shake To get this secret McDonald’s menu item, all you need to do is ask for chocolate, vanilla and strawberry ice cream mixed together! https://www.tiktok.com/@iluvmickyds/video/6771300300109237509 8. The McBrunch burger If you get to McDonald’s right after breakfast finishes – usually just after 10:30 – there is still a chance you can fulfill that breakfast craving! A viral TikTok by ‘theglasssniper’ shows him ordering a burger known as the Mc10:35, more commonly known as the McBrunch burger. This item, if you haven’t guessed, is a combination of the two menus. While the order is meant to be a double cheeseburger with a hashbrown and egg, ‘theglasssniper’ found that his egg was replaced with sausage, another popular McDonald’s breakfast item. 9. Monster Mac The $11 Monster Mac stands at eight patties tall, and is so big, it can’t even fit inside the Big Mac pouch. Next to it, the Big Mac Grande and Supersize Me options of yesterday look like a Happy Meal. McDonald’s is one of those places that you can never get bored of, no matter how often you go there. And now, with these secret menu items, there is a whole host of weird and wonderful things you can try to make your next visit somewhere special! Who knows? You might even find your new favourite order.

89-year-old grandpa gets stood up on first date in 30 years TikTok; grandadjoe1933An 89-year-old grandpa is going viral on TikTok for taking viewers on his first date in 30 years, only to get stood up by the object of his affections. TikTok is home to a slew of bombastic content creators. From names like food reviewer Keith Lee, who uses his fame to give struggling restaurants a boost, to users who create entire homes for their pet frogs, there’s something for everyone on the platform. However, there’s a certain subsection of elderly creators who are taking the app by storm thanks to their hilarious videos, in spite of their age. One of these creators is 89-year-old grandfather ‘Grandad Joe,’ who currently boasts over 6 million followers and has garnered over 202 million likes on the site. TikTok Grandpa stood up on first date in 30 years On February 12, Grandad Joe shared footage of the first date he’d had in thirty years… but the end result left viewers heartbroken. In the clip, Grandad Joe gets ready for his night out and sits at a restaurant waiting for his paramour to arrive — but she never does, leaving him to finish his dinner all by himself. Despite how despondent he appeared in the video, Grandad Joe captioned the TikTok: “Well that was fun,” with a facepalming emoji. As a result, viewers are showering him with an outpouring of support in the comments section, assuring him that it was “her loss.” “Awww I am so so sorry, but you look dashing as always,” one user wrote. “Some people are just inconsiderate. Good riddance. You deserve someone kind,” another said. “She missed the time of her life!” another chimed in. He’s not the only grandparent to take over TikTok, by far; in fact, 92-year-old Lillian Droniak was the talk of the town last year after “slaying” at her ex-man’s funeral — much to the chagrin of his family.

  • 8-year-old boy’s disturbing search history has the internet cracking up – Dexerto

8-year-old boy’s disturbing search history has the internet cracking up Instagram: ladibleThe father of an 8-year-old boy exposed his son’s search history and the internet can’t stop laughing. Things kids do when their parents aren’t looking could go down as some of the funniest content, as the whole ‘getting away’ with something makes it all the more fun. Though some kids will only have a story to tell about their free time activities, there’s one 8-year-old boy who couldn’t have gotten away with his actions if he tried. And when his dad heard of what his son was doing, well, he took to the internet to expose its hilarity. 8-year-old boy’s search history had his dad and sister laughing hysterically When a dad got ahold of his 8-year-old son’s iPad, he and the boy’s older sister thought to go through his search history. As the searches went on, the findings ended up being more surprising the deeper the duo got. First, the boy was curious about lucid dreaming, having looked it up multiple times. He then shifted gears to certain celebrity deaths like XXXTentacion, Michael Jackson, Elvis, and David Bowie. For whatever reason, the boy then searched “arson” followed by the game Fortnite. However, things started to get even funnier after he leveled out with searching for Fortnite, as the game is somewhat relevant to an 8-year-old’s life. What’s next was way out of the norm… As the boy’s dad and sister continued to read his search history, they read “bbq sauce on titties.” The pair then laughed hysterically, questioning where the idea came from. After posting his son’s hilarious findings on the internet, social media reacted, saying, “I’m in stitches, this is sooo funny!” As well as, “Anyone that can’t appreciate that search history has fully forgotten what it was like to be a kid, lol.” Some viewers also pointed out how nonchalant the dad was to his son looking up “arson.” One person then joked that the boy may need therapy. Though the video of the boy’s search history has gone viral, there has been no comment from any of the family members about why the son may have wanted to know more about death, arson, and… “bbq sauce on titties.”

Because of this, younger and younger players are taking on some of the best chess players in the world and winning games off of them. In 2024, that trend is continuing as Ashwatch Kaushik, an eight-year-old chess player from India, has broken the record of the youngest player to beat a Grand Master. He accomplished the feat just months after fellow eight-year-old chess prodigy, Leonid Ivanociv, broke the record under nine years of age. Youngest player ever to beat a GM Kaushik is eight years, six months, and 11 days old and took down Polish grandmaster Jacek Stopa at the 22nd Burgdorfer Stadthaus Open in Switzerland. The youngster placed 12th in the classical chess tournament, eventually losing to International Master Harry Grieve. According to a report by Chess.com, the player has been living in Singapore for the past six years and has been competing since he was six years old. The report also said Kaushik learned the game at four years old so he could play with his grandparents. “It felt really exciting and amazing, and I felt proud of my game and how I played, especially since I was worse at one point but managed to come back from that,” the player told Chess.com After his success in the Swiss event, Kaushik has an 1892 standard rating according to the International Chess Federation and is ranked 37,338th in the world.

  • 8 Passengers YouTube channel under fire for harsh child punishment – Dexerto

8 Passengers YouTube channel under fire for harsh child punishment 8 Passengers, YouTubePopular YouTube family channel ‘8 Passengers’ is coming under fire from fans after their 15-year-old son detailed the harsh punishment he’d been given for pulling a prank on his little brother. 8 Passengers, as the channel has been so named, details the daily lives of the Franke family and their six children. Known for her strict parenting, mother Ruby Franke is facing mass backlash from critics due to a video posted in late May, titled “What We Haven’t Told You,” which featured a shocking confession from her oldest son, Chad. In the video, Chad admitted that he’d been forced to sleep in their basement on a bean bag chair for seven months as punishment for tricking his little brother into thinking the family was going to Disney Land. “My bedroom was taken away for seven months and then you gave it back like, a couple of weeks ago,” Chad revealed. “I’ve been sleeping on a beanbag since October. They gave my room back two weeks ago.” https://www.instagram.com/p/CAo73oMjUQI/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link “I woke Russell up at two in the morning and told him that we’re going to Disney Land and he had to pack,” he continued. “He made his bed all neatly and packed his clothes in the suitcase. He walked out the door and I’m like, ‘Russell… we’re not going to Disney Land.’ He started crying and hitting me.” Ruby clarified that his Disney Land prank wasn’t the only reason for his harsh punishment, citing an instance where Chad had allegedly pointed a BB gun at Russell’s face and purportedly left him hanging on a basketball rim. (Topic begins at 8:14) Despite the family laughing at this exchange, many commenters haven’t found the punishment funny, with users sounding off in alarm at what many feel to be abuse. “She is sick,” one commenter wrote on a re-uploaded version of the now-deleted video. “Her kids will end up needing therapy ‘cause of her.” “She is not ‘filming’ her life,” another argued. “She is publicly embarrassing her KIDS. …If I was her child, I would be so embarrassed to say she was my mom. SO TOXIC!” A petition has since been created asking that local Child Protective Services look into the household, which boasts over 3,700 signatures at the time of writing. Ruby has yet to speak out on the matter, although she has deleted several videos from the 8 Passengers YouTube channel, including this one that’s caused a lot of controversy.

7-Eleven worker gets fired after showing TikTok all the “good food” he has to throw away TikTok: xoxo_airez/UnsplashA TikToker by the name of xoxo_airez has revealed that he lost his job at 7-Eleven after showing TikTok all the “good food” he has to throw away. With over one billion users a month, TikTok is the place to go if you have something you’d like to share with the internet as it has a really good chance of going viral. However, there are occasionally ramifications if you share the wrong type of information — like claiming a billion-dollar company purposely throws away perfectly good food. TikTok user xoxo_airez did just that and revealed the alleged issue at the 7-Eleven convenience store he worked at. The videos went viral, and the creator revealed he lost his job with the company. TikToker exposes problem at 7-Eleven and gets fired On April 27, the creator uploaded the first video showing that he does, in fact, work at 7-Eleven before panning to a bag full of unexpired food in a trash bag. “Alright, listen. I don’t agree with any of this s**t at all. My manager wanted me to throw all this good food away bro, this shits not even expired. We just have too much in the inventory. Pretty much, we just got an extra shipment so we had to write all this off as scrap,” he claimed. He went on to reveal that he left the bag outside of the garbage can before mentioning where it was located in case someone who needed food wanted to go and get it. (Click here if TikTok doesn’t load) In a second video, Airez revealed that he asked his manager if he could donate the scrap food. In response to his question, his manager allegedly said that if the creator asked again — he would lose his job. On May 7, just days after the videos went viral, the TikToker commented on one of his videos that he officially lost his job due to sharing the problems with the public. He said: “Officially lost my job! But that’s okay, I’ll be going to Walmart with the same energy!” Fans from all over the world have taken to the comments on his video to echo the same thoughts — they appreciate him for standing up for what is right, and hope he stays well at his new job. • 7-Eleven employee destroys Florida woman complaining about drink prices in wild TikTok – Dexerto

7-Eleven employee destroys Florida woman complaining about drink prices in wild TikTok TikTok/thatsyesiA 7-Eleven employee’s brutal shutdown of a Florida ‘Karen’ upset over drink prices has created a buzz on TikTok with users having the worker’s back for how he handled the situation. It’s not every day you see a store employee absolutely lash out at a potential customer, but that’s exactly what happened in a wild TikTok making waves on the platform. Last week, TikToker ‘thatsyesi’ uploaded a video supposedly sent to them by their brother showing a woman raging inside of a 7-Eleven. According to the TikToker, the woman was furious that her soda cost her $3 and not $2, prompting a shouting match between her and an employee at the cash. 7-Eleven worker puts ‘Karen’ on blast While a lot of the video’s audio is hard to decipher, at one point the employee can be heard calling the upset woman a “scallywag.” “Get the f**k out of here with your raggedy ass,” he screamed. “B*tch, I’m trying to help your stupid ass and you want to come up here with that bullsh*t. F**k you!” To make things even worse for the woman in the video, the uploader even claims that the woman got her money back, but continued to cause trouble in the store. In the comments, users voiced their support for the employee and even called for him to get a raise for handling the situation with such intensity. “That man needs a bonus! A raise! A promotion and a 4 week paid vacation,” one wrote. “I really need to start using scallywag more,” someone else said, impressed with the employee’s vocabulary. “After working customer service, I don’t see anything wrong here,” replied another user. It’s not known what happened after the woman left and if business continued as normal, but judging by the comments, it seems like many don’t want the employee to be reprimanded for his actions.

  • 7-Eleven customers attack employees for not selling cigars to minor in viral fight – Dexerto

7-Eleven customers attack employees for not selling cigars to minor in viral fight TwitterA group of rowdy 7-Eleven customers are going viral for all the wrong reasons after they attacked employees for refusing to sell cigars to underaged people. Of all the reasons to fight someone, this has got to be one of the weirdest. We’ve seen men get pistol whipped for attacking women, or guys defending themselves against groups in massive brawls, but this brawl takes the cake. Fighting 7-Eleven employees for refusing to break the law and sell cigars to a minor is a whole other level, and that’s exactly what happened in Mesquite, Texas. In a viral video making rounds online, a group of teens can be seen jumping over the counters at the local 7-Eleven store and engaging in fisticuffs with staff members. Employees fight 7-Eleven customers in viral brawl When the video begins, you can see one customer has already gotten behind the counter to start swinging at an employee as others join in. In a split second, both sides started throwing haymakers at each other as the rest of the teens joined in and throew candy and other checkout items as weapons. (Hey, at least it wasn’t a python.) A clerk then tried to step in and confront the rowdy posse, but he was just pelted with chocolate as the battle raged behind the counter. According to Fox News, both employees suffered facial injuries, but didn’t require a trip to the hospital to be treated. Currently, none of the teens involved in the melee have been arrested, and police are continuing to investigate the assault. It’s not clear if the girl ended up actually getting her hands on a cigar after all the dust had settled.

  • 6th Tony Lopez accuser comes forward amid his return to TikTok – Dexerto

6th Tony Lopez accuser comes forward amid his return to TikTok YouTube: The Lopez BrothersA new accusation concerning Tony Lopez’s behaviour with minors has now gone viral, with TikTok user Noah claiming a 15-year-old girl has given him permission to share her account. With accusations about Lopez building momentum across social media, the former Hype House star has continued to try and carry on with life as normal. He recently returned to TikTok, creating dance videos and sharing day-to-day snapshots of his life, but it seems like his former fans are unwilling to let him forget accusations that easily. TikToker Angry Reactions recently accused Lopez of deleting a comment he made regarding the accusations in one of his videos, while fellow Hype House member Larray referenced the claims in his highly-controversial diss track, ‘Canceled.’ This led to Lopez hitting out at content creators for “using this situation for likes,” with TikTok Room later reporting that Tony Lopez liked a comment by a user criticising fans for “not letting [the situation] go.” However, TikTok user Noah – who recently hit out at Larray ‘lying’ about contacting Tony Lopez’s accusers – has now uploaded a TikTok which he claims is part of his aim to help “victims that were groomed by Tony Lopez get their story out.” The full video was shared by drama account TikTok Insider. Identifying the girl only as Valencia, Noah says that at the time of the incident with Lopez, she was only fifteen. He also points out that she had made a video about the claims before, but was accused of lying. https://twitter.com/defnoodles/status/1322221941579640832 He explains that after her friend sent a message to Lopez as a joke, he responded and they started a conversation, with him quickly inviting her over to the Hype House that same night. Implicating fellow TikToker Tayler Holder into the accusations, Noah claims that he was the one who answered the door and let Valencia into the house. “I can’t go into detail about what happened or this video will be taken down, but things did happen,” Noah said. Noah also pointed out that he sent Valencia messages about wanting to have a threesome, which he argues is consistent with the way he spoke to the other accusers. He also notes that the Snapchat account that sent the message is visually consistent with Lopez’s private Snapchat account that he has allegedly contacted other minors on. Neither Lopez nor Holder has spoken out publicly about these claims. There is also no information to suggest that Lopez will be prosecuted based on this latest allegation.

Now, they’re exchanging gifts worth hundreds of thousands of dollars with each other, and it’s guaranteed to make anyone envious. Upon first meeting up, Steve shares out some expensive watches to his friends, including 6ix9ine and fellow NELK Boys associate Bradley Martyn, something that clearly struck a chord with the rapper. The next day, the pair met up again and 6ix9ine expressed how grateful he was. “Steve, this is coming from Danny,” the controversial rapper said. “F**k 6ix9ine, the rapper sh*t. Yesterday, I was twisted. I never received a gift like that. I don’t get gifts, I’m usually the one giving gifts.” He continued: “I always see you give back. You’re such a great individual and everything you do for people. We love you and appreciate everything you do, so this is your McLaren.” Timestamp 25:21 The car itself is a 1 in 10 McLaren 570S MSO X, inspired by the 1995/96 McLaren F1 GTR which achieved a podium position at Le Mans in 1995. By tracking back the number of the MSO X, we can find that 6ix9ine himself bought the car in March 2020 for a measly $173,600, despite an estimated value of $275-325,000. Since then, he also gave it a brand new blue wrap to hide the previous yellow and black colour, making it even more unique. That is definitely some gift to be giving to your friends.

6ix9ine launches Gine NFT collection months after Trollz NFT “scam” claims 6ix9ine/Gine NFTNotorious New York rapper Daniel ‘6ix9ine’ Hernandez has launched a new NFT collection called Giné, the same name as his latest single, just months after being accused of “scamming” fans with a previous NFT collection. In October 2021, 6ix9ine launched the Trollz NFT collection on the Solana blockchain, with 6969 profile picture-type images inspired by the rapper himself hitting the market. One fan even minted 82 Trollz and bought many more on the secondary market, but has now come to the conclusion that none of the promises of returns on investment for holders are going to come to fruition. Now, 6ix9ine is launching a new collection and addressed what went wrong with Trollz — and why he won’t be letting the same thing happen again. Why is GINÈ NFT so special ?👀 Because #TheKingisBack like never before🔥 Join the GINÈ Community & @6ix9ine on the Discord (link in bio)👆 #ginecollection #projectg #Ginè #6ix9ine #GinèGinè #nftcommunity #nfts #nft #nftart #rap #rapper pic.twitter.com/5RaYmF93Xb — Ginè Collection NFT 🌈 (@GineCollection) April 16, 2022 In line with his latest single at the time of writing, 6ix9ine has created the Giné NFT collection, 3D art that appears to be once again inspired by his likeness. “All my fans, I dropped my NFT collection, Giné NFT collection, and I’m super excited because there’s a lot of surprises on the way,” he said in an Instagram story. “Make sure you join the Discord and get the NFT!” 6ix9ine addresses Trollz NFT “scam” allegations In another video to promote the Giné collection, the rapper did speak out about what happened with Trollz, and why this time will be different. “I want to apologize,” he said. “I apologize because I jumped into the NFT community without knowing what a NFT was … I wasn’t well-informed. It was a paid partnership that I took advantage of. What makes this so different is it’s not a paid partnership. It’s my own brand. There’s a powerful team behind this.” View this post on Instagram It goes without saying that 6ix9ine is one of the most widely talked about rappers in the game right now, and he and his fans will be hoping this translates to success in the NFT world too. With his brand on the project, though, there’s reason to believe this one won’t be abandoned quite like Trollz was — but only time will tell.

  • 6ix9ine blasts the Hype House for removing their videos with him – Dexerto

6ix9ine blasts the Hype House for removing their videos with him YouTube: imPaulsive / Instagram: petroutv[jwplayer ksH6zuKH]Rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine is putting the Hype House on blast after the group removed their social media posts and TikToks collaborating with him, which seems to have come as a result of backlash from fans. Out of law enforcement’s custody and back into the music biz, 6ix9ine is a free man — and one of the industry’s most successful, having broken YouTube’s record for biggest 24-hour debut in all of hip-hop with ‘Gooba’ in May. However, it’s no secret that the wildly popular artist is shrouded in controversy, with many bringing up the star’s multiple allegations of behavior toward minors, among other issues. Thus, many TikTokers and YouTubers who collaborated with Tekashi during his surprising press tour in early September received backlash from their fans, most notably the Hype House and Logan Paul. https://www.instagram.com/p/CE4hpm3JDEO/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link In fact, it seems that some of the Hype House’s members took down their videos featuring 6ix9ine, including notable names like Olivia Ponton — and he’s not too happy about this development. In a video uploaded on September 11, the rapper seemed to shade the entire Hype House collaborative, tearing down promotional posters of himself with the caption: “Me and the Hype House deleting videos like no one would notice.” As if it wasn’t hilarious enough that he paired the video with Crooklyn’s ‘Ooh Child,’ he ended up changing his caption to read, “My mom still thinks I’m a winner.” However, it seems that Tekashi’s video may have been a way to troll himself, as his album ‘Tattletales’ boasted far less sales than originally anticipated. Since uploading their content with 6ix9ine, many creators have received heat from their fans, with Logan Paul being one of the most notable out of the bunch. Having been called out by names like H3H3’s Ethan Klein and more, Paul and co. have been at the center of critics’ scrutiny — although it doesn’t look like they’ll be deleting their podcast episode anytime soon, as opposed to their stance on Kaitlin Bennet. For now, 6ix9ine’s future in the influencer world remains murky, but it seems like he isn’t welcome from fans of the space’s biggest personalities.

6-year-old ‘Shirley Temple King’ goes viral for adorable drink reviews theshirleytempleking Instagram / via The Drink GuyYoung Instagramer Leo Kelly, better known as ‘theshirleytempleking,’ is going viral for some of the most adorable but honest reviews of his namesake, the Shirley Temple. The simple drink that combines grenadine, Ginger Ale or lemon-lime soda, ice, and Maraschino cherries isn’t always as straightforward as it seems. In fact, according to the Shirley Temple King, there’s a ton of factors that can easily break a Shirly Temple’s claim to fame. From the perfect ratio of grenadine used to not enough cherries in the cocktail, there’s a lot that can go wrong for a mixture – and don’t even get him started about using plastic cups. But the 6-year-old Instagram reviewer obviously caught onto something great, with a following of less than 600 as of January 27 to over 26,000 just a day later. The premise of his account is simple, he goes around “rating Shirley Temples (non-alcoholic duhh) across all sorts of establishments,” according to his Instagram bio. It seems like Kelly has his method of review down: take a look at the Shirley Temple in front of him, take a single sip, and off to calculate its place on a 10-point scale – 10 being the highest rating. https://www.instagram.com/p/B7rX4oOFP7d/ He told CTbites that the perfect Shirley Temple consists of “a glass, 3 cherries, and a good balance of grenadine.” His Instagram followers are treated to his pursuit of finding the perfect sip from restaurants or resorts in his local Connecticut area and beyond. And he doesn’t hold back either. “That just tastes like cherry-flavored Ginger Ale,” he said in his August 26 review for the Friendly’s chain. “That doesn’t even taste like a Shirley Temple, it tastes like a cherry-flavored Ginger Ale.” https://www.instagram.com/p/B1pBAODHZrv/ But the man can be pleased. “That is so good I’m going to give that a 10,” he said in a December 16 review for Lotte New York Palace’s mix. “Because A, I never get to have these gourmet cups; B, there’s so much cherries; and C, it’s so good.” Kelly is making major headway on the Instagram social ladder, and his keen sense of taste might have restaurants improving their cocktail in case they get a visit from The Shirley Temple King.

57-year-old man called an “a—hole” after dumping girlfriend because she can’t have kids Unsplash: rene bohmerA 57-year-old man took to Reddit to share his break-up with his longtime girlfriend who couldn’t have kids anymore due to her age. All women go through menopause, as this is a well-known fact among both women and men. However, for a 55-year-old woman, her boyfriend of 25 years gave her no leeway regarding her body’s inability to give birth. Though the break up came as a surprise to his longtime girlfriend, the 57-year-old man seemingly felt no empathy for his partner after she dedicated her entire life towards his aspirations, as the couple chose not to have kids earlier on because the man was opposed to it. Though he asked for opinions on his breakup, the man may have been surprised to read that he was called an “a—hole” among many other things. Man claims his life was too “depressing” to stay with his menopausal girlfriend An unnamed 57-year-old recently took to Reddit to reveal his breakup story with his 55-year-old girlfriend. The poster claimed he was against having kids when he and his girlfriend were younger because he thought he would “resent” the children for getting in the way of him making money. However, once his girlfriend turned 53 and started having menopause, he realized how “empty” and “depressing” his life was without biological kids. Though his girlfriend asked him if they could adopt, the man said no, resulting in her calling him “narcissistic” for getting rid of her due to the changes in her physical body. Since posting to Reddit, the man has received many comments of people siding with his ex-girlfriend, as one reader said, “If this post is real, (the man) is one of the biggest a—holes I’ve ever encountered.” Comment byu/stormbreaker021 from discussion inredditonwiki Another reader agreed he was an a—hole despite their potentially being state laws that kept the couple from marrying, saying, “Ok, he’s still an a—hole. Plenty of people choose not to get married and don’t leave their partners with nothing after 25 years. Clearly, she trusted him and thought he was her life partner.” The man who typed out three pages full of break-up details to Reddit has not commented back on any of the reader’s opinions. It is also unknown how the ex-girlfriend is doing. However, the man did say that she was allowed to stay in his beach house for one month’s time until she got back on her feet.

Over 50,000 sign petition to remove PewDiePie, “White Supremacist content” from YouTube PewDiePie YouTubeA new petition targeting YouTube king Felix ‘PewDiePie’ Kjellberg wants the content creator removed entirely from Google’s video hosting platform, and it appears to be gaining some traction. In the past, controversies tied to extremist leanings have been linked to the Swede, and it looks like a growing movement is shaping to “remove PewDiePie from YouTube permanently.” Petition organizer Maria Ruiz has collected over 50,000 digital signatures at the time of writing, in response to the March 15 tragedy that occurred when a gunman opened fire in a New Zealand mosque. Update: The petition has now surpassed 76,000 signatures, as of April 7. Ruiz says that the mosque shooting was the signal “to take action as a community and remove white supremacist content from [their] platforms.” While the organizer is targeting all content that holds racist or white supremacist inclinations, Ruiz points to PewDiePie as the biggest and most direct threat. “One of the largest platforms for white supremacist content is PewDiePie’s YouTube channel,” Ruiz wrote in the Change.org petition. “PewDiePie has on many occasions proven once and again to promote and affiliate himself with white supremacist and Nazi ideologies… The New Zealand mosque shooter even mentioned PewDiePie by name and asked people to subscribe.” Following the news of the Christchurch attack, and the fact that one of the gunmen had used the phrase “subscribe to PewDiePie” beforehand, Kjellberg released a clear statement denouncing such actions. “Just heard news of the devastating reports from New Zealand Christchurch,” he said. “I feel absolutely sickened having my name uttered by this person. My heart and thoughts go out to the victims, families and everyone affected by this tragedy.” Just heard news of the devastating reports from New Zealand Christchurch. I feel absolutely sickened having my name uttered by this person. My heart and thoughts go out to the victims, families and everyone affected by this tragedy.— ƿ૯ωძɿ૯ƿɿ૯ (@pewdiepie) March 15, 2019 The change.org petition leader listed a number PewDiePie’s previous controversies, such as using “the N slur twice in two separate videos,” promoting content creators with “videos that contain Adolf Hitler speeches and anti-Semitic cartoons” as reasons to ban him from YouTube. Even though PewDiePie has denied any such ties to racist or white supremacists leanings, Ruiz still thinks his actions makes him a “clear and present danger to society.” PewDiePie supporters looking to exonerate the Swede from the many claims against him signed the petition in order to access the site’s comment section. Read more: YouTuber Logan Paul explains ‘inspirational’ change of direction for his popular Maverick brand – “I’m signing to say that you are wrong,” Robert Consola said while denying Ruiz’s accusations. “…You are watching the WSJ [The Wall Street Journal] compilation of clips taken out of context, and reading biased news articles. PLEASE I’m begging you, Felix is not who you think he is. He has raised MILLIONS for charity…” Aside from removing PewDiePie from the site, the petition is demanding YouTube to create an AI for eliminating content with “extremist/inflammatory/non protected speech” and for the company to develop better parental controls to block out entire channels from children.

  • 50 Cent performs at David Dobrik’s mansion party packed with stars – Dexerto

50 Cent performs at David Dobrik’s mansion party packed with stars Instagram: daviddobrik/Wikimedia Commons: Sohowarrior19Just weeks after his iconic Super Bowl performance, 50 Cent was back in LA performing some of his biggest hits — but this time it was for David Dobrik and his influencer friends. 50 Cent joined Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Dr Dre, Kendrick Lamar, and Mary J Blige to perform at the SoFi Stadium in the Super Bowl halftime show in February, and was back in LA once again for this more intimate show. To celebrate having the rapper performing in his literal backyard, Dobrik brought over the entire Vlog Squad and a large group of other LA influencer friends to put on the best show possible. While there isn’t an official video out from David yet, the performance took place on Thursday, March 17, with the iconic LA backdrop set behind them. With a number of notable names in attendance, including FaZe Banks, Erika Costell, CouRageJD, and more, 50 performed some of his biggest hits including Many Men and In Da Club. It’s unclear why exactly Dobrik booked in the New York rapper for a show in his backyard. It didn’t appear to be a celebration of anything in particular, though David did appear to have new sponsors as evidenced by his Instagram stories, so expect to see a full sponsored video before long.

  • 50 Cent has offered Khabib a huge deal for potential sponsorship – Dexerto

50 Cent has offered Khabib a huge deal for potential sponsorship Rapper 50 Cent has offered UFC Lightweight Champion Khabib Nurmagomedov a massive deal to fight for his American MMA promotion, Bellator. 50 Cent posted his proposition in a Tweet, which offered a whopping two million dollars cash to Khabib on the spot if he left the UFC. “I think it’s wrong what the UFC is doing to Khabib, they didn’t do the same thing to McGregor,” he wrote. “I’ll pay 2 million cash tonight if he will fight for me at Bellator.” 50 Cent then went on to post a screenshot of his post to Instagram, where he followed up with the caption, “I’ll deal with Dana and your contract later. The UFC is not the only game in town. Zubaira is welcome also.” Khabib has since responded to this offer. “Just send me location,” he replied. “If you wanna see place where real men are born I invite you to Dagestan. And when I come to USA I will let you know.” 50 Cent’s offer isn’t a random number, either – Khabib reportedly earned two million dollars for his fight with McGregor at UFC 229, which is currently being withheld due to his assault on McGregor’s Jiu Jitsu coach just after his victory. While Khabib has threatened to quit the organization if Tukhugov is expelled, it looks like he has a slew of other opportunities awaiting him should he follow through with his promise – including a potential interest from the WWE.

  • 5 Twitch streamers that Mixer could poach next – Dexerto

5 Twitch streamers that Mixer could poach next With two of Twitch’s most prestigious streamers in Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins and Michael ‘shroud’ Grzesiek joining Mixer, it’s anyone’s guess who will be next to jump ship to Microsoft’s rival platform. Mixer upped their game with the acquisition of elite Fortnite streamer Ninja on August 1, 2019. They then followed this up on October 24 when they poached FPS legend Shroud just one day before Modern Warfare released. Now that Mixer has secured two of the biggest streamers on the planet with both Fortnite and CoD covered, there are a number of directions they could go to further build their streaming empire and compete against Twitch. Here are five streamers Mixer could be looking to acquire next, and branch out into new territory. Same shroud. New home.https://t.co/eZV2GBBSsY pic.twitter.com/AHaajkjees — Michael Grzesiek (@shroud) October 24, 2019 Felix ‘xQc’ Lengyel The former Overwatch League pro turned variety streamer is one of Twitch’s most controversial, yet entertaining stars. The French-Canadian originally made a name for himself as an Overwatch tank player specializing in his skill with the hero Winston. While his time in the Overwatch League was short-lived and filled with controversy, that drama helped grow his popularity. In addition to streaming the first-person shooter, xQc has become an elite variety streamer. According to the third-party tracking site Twitchmetrics, Lengyel has the most-watched variety channel, and is the fifth most-watched overall. He will play anything from dating sims, Sea of Thieves, Super Smash Bros., and Fortnite. Combine his eccentric, hyper personality – which some consider to be the embodiment of Twitch chat – and you have a natural entertainer. With Overwatch 2 being hinted at, having a seasoned pro streaming the game would be crucial for Mixer’s success. Not only would they be landing Twitch’s top variety streamer, but they’d also be setting themselves up to cover their bases when it comes to Overwatch as well. Dr Disrespect It shouldn’t come as a shock that the Two-Time makes the list as it’s near impossible to talk about streaming icons without mentioning Doc. Dr Disrespect talks the talk, backs it up and does so with what is arguably the best production out of any streamer on Mixer, Twitch, YouTube, or Facebook. His stream intro is iconic, the graphics are top notch, and overall, his broadcast is more of a show than a standard stream. The gaming champion isn’t locked down on one game either, but like shroud, specializes in first-person shooters like Apex Legends, and Call of Duty. Despite being in his mid-30s, the Two-Time can hold his own against the best of the best, and is known to clutch out highlight reel plays on a consistent basis. Where Doc shines brightest could be in his social media reach, boasting an impressive 1.2 million followers on Twitter. This would be crucial for promoting his potential Mixer streams, making him a prime target for Microsoft’s platform. Given shroud and Doc’s friendly rivalry, getting the two together could pay dividends by putting fans of both streamers on the same platform. Asmongold Unlike other streamers on this list, Asmongold specialises in one game. Under most circumstances that could be a bad thing, but not when that game is World of Warcraft. The Texas-native isn’t just a great WoW player – he plays the game in style. Whether it’s commanding his allies in battle while Lord of the Rings music appropriately plays in the background, or giving a hot take about a recent gaming controversy, Zack delivers. Asmongold is a mammoth on Twitch, and is the third most-watched channel overall according to TwitchMetrics, which is incredible considering he is a Warcraft streamer. While he may not have the biggest Twitter following with under 200K, his Twitch numbers are the biggest selling point. The streamer has over one million followers on the streaming platform, and could bring a lot to Mixer in the form of MMORPG players. With fans still rejuvenated over the launch of WoW Classic and more in the “world” of Warcraft potentially on the way, locking up Asmongold would be a major blow to Twitch. Best yet, is that the streamer fills a void that isn’t filled by anyone else on this list, so it would create minimal competition amongst Mixer streamers. Imane ‘Pokimane’ Anys When it comes to female streamers who strive on creating the best content possible, few come close to competing against Pokimane. The Moroccan-Canadian Just Chatting icon keeps the drama to a minimum unlike other big-name females, and hasn’t relied on controversy to build up her brand. Just Chatting has skyrocketed in popularity on Twitch, and Pokimane may be the best streamer to bring the phenomenon to Mixer. As far as popularity goes, the 23-year-old is the complete package. On Twitter, she boasts over 1.3 million followers, over 4 million on Instagram, and closing in on 3.5 million over on Twitch. With multiple ways to advertise her broadcast and a following that won’t overlap with other Mixer sensations, Pokimane could make a major impact on the streaming wars. MoonMoon When it comes to variety, MoonMoon is another streamer whose entertaining personality and assortment of games would be a lock for Mixer. MoonMoon plays everything from Diablo to Super Mario Maker – and having a popular Nintendo streamer in particular join the platform’s ranks could tap into a very unique market. Since joining Twitch in 2016, Moon has amassed nearly 900,000 followers, and according to TwitchMetrics, is the 38th most-watched streamer on the website. What makes this even more impressive is the fact that unlike others on this list, MoonMoon doesn’t show his face, creating a more gameplay-immersive stream. With ten hour streams every weekday, he would be a force on Mixer and yet another controversy-free star to take the Microsoft-owned platform to the next level.

  • 5 rising Twitch streamers to watch in 2022 – Dexerto

5 rising Twitch streamers to watch in 2022 Instagram: emiru / SydeonTwitch is always a competitive place, with streamers vying for viewers’ attention on the latest trends, games, and ‘metas’. We’ve identified five streamers, big and small, who are poised to rise up to the top of the platform in 2022. It’s almost impossible to predict who will be the next big thing on Twitch, until they’ve already become it. 2021 saw the rapid rise of streamers like Ludwig and Fuslie, as well as lots and lots of Spanish-speaking streamers. We’ve already looked back at the best 5 Twitch streamers of 2021, who pushed the platform forward with innovative content and breaking new ground. But, what does 2022 hold for the platform, and some of the up-and-coming talents who could have a break-out year? Emiru At the tail end of 2021, Emiru’s viewership on Twitch skyrocketed by almost 500%, moving her from an average of around 2,000 to 12,000. This was largely due to her new association with OTK, the organization founded by streamers including Mizkif and Asmongold. Now a member of OTK herself, there is a lot to be excited about for Emiru in 2022. Most significantly, she is not tied to playing a single game or making a single type of content, meaning her growth won’t be affected if a particular game loses popularity – something that can’t be said for a lot of streamers. We expect Emiru to cross the 1 million follower mark within a matter of months, and could easily become one of the top 5 female streamers on Twitch this year. Tarik It wouldn’t be fair to call Tarik ‘tarik‘ Celik an ‘up-and-coming’ streamer, as he’s been one of the most popular CS:GO players on Twitch throughout his pro career. However, he makes this list because with his CS career coming to an end, he’s in a position very similar to shroud – who became Twitch’s number one after exiting top-level Counter-Strike. It’s rumored that tarik may be moving to professional Valorant, but whether he does or not, 2022 will be a massive year for the Major winner on Twitch. Other top NA players in Valorant, like TenZ, ShahZam, and Sinatraa, have seen their viewership boom streaming the game. In fact, tarik is already the most-watch Valorant streamer on Twitch over the past three months. Whether he goes pro or sticks to content creation, his average viewership (currently around 10,000) could double or triple this year. Kkatamina Kim ‘Kkatamina’ Mi-young had her breakthrough year in 2021, an especially impressive rise considering she had never streamed before October the previous year. Now tied closely to OfflineTV, and making headlines as the most subbed-to female streamer thanks to her subathon, 2022 is set to be the year that Kkatamina leads the way for others to follow. With her viewership currently averaging between 2,000-6,000, there is still a lot of potential for Mi-young to attract an even bigger audience. Despite her rise in 2021, Kkatamina doesn’t stream very consistently, often taking big gaps of days or even weeks between streams. While it’s important for streamers to take breaks from the constant grind, if she dedicates even more hours to streaming Kkatamina could actually have an even bigger year than 2021. Sydeon Sydeon was expected to have a break-out year in 2021, where she saw her average viewership more than double. But, despite her success so far, there is still a lot more potential – especially now that she’s a member of OfflineTV. Joining the popular streaming organization alongside QuarterJade and Masayoshi in November, Sydeon now has a group of like-minded individuals to grow alongside, much like Emiru in OTK. OfflineTV is making big changes in general in 2022, with LilyPichu confirming the group won’t be living together anymore. But, they have proven their staying power as an organization, and any new members usually end up in the spotlight even more. JiDion JiDion is already a very popular YouTuber, with over 3.4 million subscribers, but has just started really dedicating time into Twitch streaming in late 2021. With his popularity from YouTube giving JiDion a headstart, his JiDionPremium Twitch channel has already rocketed to almost 300,000 followers, averaging over 5,000 viewers on every stream. Although he does play games like NBA 2K, GTA 5, and Fortnite, he actually spends a lot of time in the Just Chatting category. This bodes well for his plans for 2022, meaning he won’t be tied to playing any particular game on stream as his channel grows. At this rate, JiDion will have over a million followers on Twitch before the year ends. Those are our top streamers to keep an eye out for in 2022. Whether you like high-level pro gameplay, Just Chatting, or casual gaming, there is something for everyone among these streamers.

  • Top 5 most famous permanent Twitch bans: Biggest perma-banned streamers – Dexerto

Top 5 most famous permanent Twitch bans: Biggest perma-banned streamers TwitchDespite having gotten more competitors in the past few years, Twitch continues to be one of the most popular streaming platforms with some of the biggest streaming stars on there. However, they also have a long list of banned streamers. Fortunately for creators, most bans on Twitch, typically given for community guidelines violations, range from 24 hours, a few days, a week, or, in the most serious cases, 30 days. However, there is one type of ban that any streamer dreads: an indefinite suspension. As the name implies, there is no set end date on these bans, and although Twitch can lift it at any time, it is often always considered permanent, except in a few rare cases when these streamers are allowed to return. But, as of 2024, some of the biggest streamers to ever broadcast on Twitch are still serving long indefinite suspensions, unlikely ever to return. These are the most infamous Twitch bans believed to be permanent. Top 5 most famous Twitch bans 5. MethodJosh A popular World of Warcraft streamer, MethodJosh was permanently banned in 2019. Twitch did not disclose the reasons behind his ban, as they rarely do with any suspension, to protect the privacy of users. However, it was later revealed, in 2020, that MethodJosh had been accused of inappropriate behavior, rape, and sexual misconduct by a number of women. 4. Phantoml0rd Phantoml0rd was a big name in the Twitch community, best known before his ban for CS:GO gambling content – which was also to be his downfall. In 2016, he was permanently banned, after it was revealed that Phantoml0rd was the owner of the website he often promoted and played on, without disclosing it. However, this ban became even more notorious due to the legal case that followed. Phantoml0rd sued Twitch for damages, and secured victory in 2021 – although he only won $20,000 in damages, not the $100 million he had initially sued for. 3. Adin Ross At the time of his permanent ban, Adin Ross was more popular than any other streamer on this list at their time of theirs. He was averaging over 60,000 viewers, and was a constant hot topic in the Twitch community. In February 2023, Twitch suddenly put it all to a stop by issuing a permanent ban on Adin’s account. Although Twitch did not disclose the reason at first, a Twitch spokesperson told Dexerto that the ban was caused by failing to moderate hateful conduct in his chat. Adin moved to rival platform Kick following his ban, where he is currently the most-watched streamer. However, he recently went on stream to beg Twitch to unban him. 2. Ice Poseidon One of the great innovators on Twitch, Ice Poseidon is often credited with making IRL (In Real Life) streaming immensely popular on Twitch. Throughout 2016 and 2017, his channel was a hotbed for viral (and controversial) moments. But, this also bred a toxic community, Poseidon later admitted. Ice was banned in 2017 after a swatting incident on a plane after he shared what gate he was flying from. A viewer called in a bomb threat, leading to a police response and Ice being removed from the flight. Twitch permanently banned his channel as a result, as sharing information like this was an obvious safety risk. 1. Dr DisRespect No surprise here, the most infamous Twitch ban is that of Dr Disrespect. Before his ban, the self-proclaimed ‘face of Twitch’ was a bonafide streaming superstar, and had just signed a new bumper contract with Twitch a few months earlier. The Doc was permanently banned from the platform in June 2020. The circumstances around his ban are still shrouded in mystery, as neither Twitch nor Dr Disrespect’s team have ever publicly confirmed the reason for his ban. This secrecy has led to continued speculation and controversy around the circumstances of his indefinite suspension. Now, Dr Disrespect streams on YouTube, and is still as popular as ever, but his massive Twitch community was shut off forever in the blink of an eye, and remains the most high-profile and controversial permanent ban to this day. There are many other famous permanent Twitch bans, some of which were in fact lifted after a number of years. But all five of these streamers are still not permitted to broadcast on the Amazon-owned platform, and likely never will be. However, in late 2023, the platform revealed it’s looking into giving permabanned streamers “another chance” before allowing some permanently banned streamers to apply to be unbanned — although with some exceptions. Not only that, but the platform’s executive has also recently vowed to improve its ban system and provide more transparency to the streaming community.

5 best MrBeast moments on path to 100 million YouTube subs Netflix / Instagram: mrbeast / YouTube: PewDiePieMrBeast has become the second YouTuber ever to reach 100 million subscribers. We’ve compiled a list of the best moments in his path to internet stardom. Jimmy ‘MrBeast’ Donaldson is one of YouTube’s biggest stars — but, like any ambitious creator, he had to start small. The North Carolina-based YouTuber always had big dreams of becoming a powerhouse influencer and was willing to do anything to achieve his dreams… even to the point of saying Logan Paul’s name 100,000 times in a single, 17-hour recording session. He’s come a long way since then. In July 2022, he finally surpassed 100 million subscribers, becoming the second YouTuber to achieve such a feat after Felix ‘PewDiePie’ Kjellberg’s historic battle against Indian music label T-Series in 2018. Donaldson has had a few big moments that defined his career up until this point and built him up to the internet celebrity he is today. Subscribe to PewDiePie MrBeast accrued quite a following for himself due to his over-the-top challenge videos and heartwarming acts of kindness, but it was his ‘Subscribe to PewDiePie’ campaign that truly put him on the map. The YouTuber spearheaded this movement during Pewd’s massive battle against T-Series, even advertising Kjellberg’s channel during the Super Bowl. Although PewDiePie made it to 100 million subs (now over 111 million), T-Series ended up overtaking him… but the race will forever live on in infamy thanks to MrBeast’s efforts. #TeamTrees Although MrBeast has always had a charitable side, his first major philanthropic project saw him raise money with the goal of planting 20 million trees before 2020. In a shocking turn of events, the YouTuber managed to raise $20 million in just two months. The moment went viral on social media and served as a launching pad for his next big environmental project, #TeamSeas. MrBeast Burger In December 2020, MrBeast launched his very own fast food delivery chain, MrBeast Burger. The chain offers a slew of fast food staples, including burgers, chicken sandwiches, fries, and more. MrBeast even collaborated with other influencers to create their very own entrees. Since launch, MrBeast burger has expanded to over 1,000 locations across the United States and Europe and has made over $100 million in revenue. #TeamSeas Built on the efforts of #TeamTrees, #TeamSeas saw MrBeast conscript just about every major influencer under the sun with the ambitious end goal of raising $30 million to help clean the world’s oceans. The YouTuber has also helmed another major charitable endeavor, Beast Philanthropy, a YouTube channel that funds his very own food bank that feeds his local community. Squid Game Perhaps MrBeast’s most famous video is his jaw-dropping recreation of Netflix’s viral thriller series, Squid Game. The upload has racked up over 100 million views and was even approved by the show’s creator, Hwang Dong-hyuk. It’ll be difficult for MrBeast to top this video — but if his eye-popping Willy Wonka chocolate factory is anything to go by, it’s clear that the sky’s the limit for this YouTuber. This is just the beginning of even bigger and better things for one of the internet’s most loved creators.

  • 5 amazing Dr Disrespect cosplays from ‘Doctober’ Halloween contest – Dexerto

5 amazing Dr Disrespect cosplays from ‘Doctober’ Halloween contest Dr Disrespect has undoubtedly built up one of the biggest cult fanbases on Twitch and after starting up a viral cosplay contest online, some of the entrants have been exceptional. The popular streamer, who is known for his violence, speed and momentum in first-person shooter games, has tried to get his fanbase’s creative juices flowing by opening up his Doctober Halloween contest. People have been sending him a number of their impressive costumes and impressions throughout the course of the month of October, and as it is nearing its end we thought some of these incredible cosplays deserved a mention. As those who tune into the Doc’s Twitch channel will know already, the self-proclaimed best video gamer of all time is always sporting his patented black wig, sunglasses and red costume when he’s in front of the camera. When it comes to people trying to pull off his look, though, there’s certainly no shortage in variety and we’ve picked out the best five for you to take a look at. Top Dr Disrespect ‘Doctober’ cosplays Alien Doc Have you ever wanted to see Dr Disrespect and Paul the alien’s love child? We’re not quite sure anybody, apart from its creator @AmericanDadLive, would have either. But, it’s here! Dr Disrespect fans are everywhere The Two-Time has been spotted a lot more than two times in public, sporting his full costume, and at first glance many people at the Texas Renaissance Festival this year might well have thought they had stumbled across the real deal. This cosplayer, Twitter user @NikoStas75, had his photo taken during the event and pulled off the look brilliantly. The wig, though, seems a little different to what people would usually expect – but it’s no biggy! Strike a pose! Dr Disrespect has never streamed in his back garden, at least not that we can remember, but these photos posted to Twitter by @extramedium_tv are just perfect. He’s one of the most animated streamers on Twitch and it looks like that’s exactly what this cosplayer was going for with their attempt. “Shaved the beard off, kept the stache, and went full commit on the Dr Disrespect costume this year. I might be a foot shorter, but I’ve never felt so damn good,” they tweeted on October 27. Look at that green screen Doc is always having fun with different animations on Twitch. At this point, he’s pretty much known for having the best production value on the platform, certainly among the high profile figures at least. Photographer Wes Ellis wished the big man a happy Halloween ahead of schedule on October 26 with these amazing shots, which were retweeted by Dr Disrespect’s official Twitter account – just like all of them on this list. There is only one person worthy of my time this Halloween. The two time. Back to back Blockbuster champion 1993-1994. The Doctor. Happy Halloween. @drdisrespect #Doctober pic.twitter.com/zwSDNEYk69 — Wes Ellis (@elliswes) October 25, 2019 Last, but not least… Not to discount some of the other amazing entries that the streamer received on Twitter for Doctober, but just for pure effort alone, there’s no doubt that this one from Ryken Kearsley deserved a spot on the list. Climbing up a mountain is no easy task for anybody, let alone in a full Dr Disrespect outfit, but that’s exactly what it looks like in Kearsley’s cosplay photo. In fact, they even spruced things up by wearing a Doc-inspired suit. Classy. “We’re at the tippity top of the mountain. But we’re really… only half way up,” they tweeted on October 26. So, there you have it. There have been some amazing shots sent to the Doc throughout the course of October and will probably be plenty more sent before the month closes out. To those who never made the list, we’re really sorry. There was only space for people dripping from head to tippy toe in success.

  • 4chan user arrested for threatening to shoot Florida Sheriff “in Minecraft” – Dexerto

4chan user arrested for threatening to shoot Florida Sheriff “in Minecraft” YouTube/LawAndCrime/MojangA 4chan user has been arrested at his mother’s house in New Jersey after making death threats against Florida Sheriff Mike Chitwood “in Minecraft.” It seems like making threats to kill someone and adding “in Minecraft” at the end will no longer be a valid excuse thanks to a recent arrest of a 4chan message board user. According to media reports, on February 23, Central Florida Intelligence Exchange alerted Mike Chitwood about threats being made against him on 4chan following a press conference condemning antisemitic messages. The user, Richard Golden, allegedly posted on 4chan, “just shoot Chitwood in the head and he stops being a problem” before adding “in Minecraft” to the end of the comment. Police arrest 4chan user for making death threats “in Minecraft” Detectives were able to track Golden to a New Jersey address on March 1 and took him into custody and plan to extradite him to Florida. “Once he’s extradited, he’ll be housed at the happiest place on earth: the Volusia County Branch Jail,” Chitwood said during a press conference, adding that he was anti-government and anti-law enforcement. Golden will need to live up to his name in order to make Bail too, as Chitwood claimed that his bail will be set at $100,000. Footage of the arrest was uploaded to the Law & Crime YouTube channel where it has been watched over 300,000 times so far. “The most surprising part of this whole video is that he wasn’t living in the basement!” one viewer joked. “His conviction will go down in history as the moment ‘in Minecraft’ is ruled as an invalid defense,” another said. Chitwood praised the FBI and South Brunswick police for assisting with the arrest and claimed he can’t wait to meet Golden himself when he gets off the plane.

  • 40 people arrested in connection to $10m Twitch money laundering scam – Dexerto

40 people arrested in connection to $10m Twitch money laundering scam Twitch40 people have reportedly been arrested as a result of the money-laundering scam that saw creators making millions on Twitch, having abused the platform’s monetization systems. In November 2021, Twitch confirmed that they were to take action against around 150 streamers, primarily in Turkey, over an alleged money laundering scandal, that could amount to over $10 million in laundered funds. It was discovered that some small streamers were making hundreds of dollars every day as Bits were donated to them in bulk, then they would refund around 70-80% back to the viewers — who were reportedly using stolen credit cards to make the donations. Many popular names were dragged into the ordeal or admitted to have (knowingly or not) benefitted from the process, including the likes of Acend Valorant superstar Mehmet Yağız ‘cNed’ İpek. On January 4, Turkey’s Demirören News Agency (DHA) have reported that 40 people have been arrested in connection with the scams. According to reports, Turkish police detained 40 people on Tuesday, January 4, after operations in 11 different provinces. They reported that some suspects had collaborated with streamers who were aware that the Bits payments were made using stolen credit cards and took their share. DHA also reported that some of the suspects detained were minors, though a figure was not revealed in the immediate aftermath of the situation. If found guilty, it remains to be seen what punishments will be meted out, with around 150 users reportedly taking part, it could still be some time before everyone involved is identified.

  • 4-year-old shocks her grandma with knives & saws she bought on Amazon Alexa – Dexerto

4-year-old shocks her grandma with knives & saws she bought on Amazon Alexa Channel 4Amazon Alexa allowed a four-year-old girl and her six-year-old sister to order dangerous knives, rat poison, and a dangerous saw without their grandma’s knowledge. The world’s largest online retailer Amazon released their Alexa voice assistant product way back in 2014. It quickly dominated the market where it has remained as one of the most popular voice assistants often found in various homes. Nearly a decade on, they have continued to develop their technology and products to enhance the experience. However, a brand-new reveal-all documentary focused on potential problems found in Amazon was released on October 18, with an example of the product not working as perhaps intended. Two young girls aged four and six were shown to be able to bypass any age restrictions by buying a wide range of dangerous products, such as many knives, rat poison, and even a saw with Amazon Alexa. Amazon Alexa allows 4-year-old girl to buy knives without age restriction The presenter Oobah Butler was seen in a segment of the show testing out the interactive assistant. By just using voice alone, customers are able to order products. Amazon has safety protocols to prevent underage users from buying such items as alcohol, chemicals, and sharp tools and utensils. In order to test this out, Butler asked his nieces aged four and six to try ordering a range of age-restricted items using their voices. Alexa, add stainless steel carpenter knives to my basket,’ the girls said to the device, followed by “buy it now,” when prompted. The packages were delivered the next day by the letterbox which shocked their grandma when the two opened a wide range of knives, rat poison, and a saw. “This one’s mine,” one of the girls can be heard saying, referring to them as a “sword,” and a “monster which has sharp teeth,” in regards to the saw. “We purchased 67 items that we believe should have been age-verified,” Butler announced, as one of the girls responded: “It’s a knife party!” Amazon responds to potential age restriction offences “For each of these items, three offenses were potentially committed,” Butler announced. This referred to age restrictions not being checked when purchased and when delivered and no signs on the packaging. “That could be 201 offenses altogether. So 201 times £5000 suggests that me and my accomplices hit Amazon for around £1,000,000,” he added. Butler said that Amazon responded that out of the 67 items, only four needed age restrictions, which was then changed. Their written statement stated: “We take our responsibility to carry out age verification extremely seriously.”

  • 39daph reveals details about dramatic confrontation with Pokimane – Dexerto

39daph reveals details about dramatic confrontation with Pokimane Art streamer 39daph shared details on what she claims was a recent confrontation with Imane ‘Pokimane’ Anys, which turned out to all be over a Twitter follow. 39daph has been continually growing in popularity on Twitch in recent months, in part due to her lack of fear when it comes to confrontation. During a stream on November 17, 39daph said Pokimane had messaged her after she unfollowed the popular streamer on Twitter. “I literally had her on mute, so then I was like ‘OK I’m just gonna unfollow,” 39daph said during her stream. “And then she asked me, and I was like ‘I don’t watch your stuff’, and she was like ‘oh, it’s about SlikeR?’ I’m like ‘No, I don’t watch your stuff.” “She kept sending me the blushing smile emoji (?) and I was like, ‘this is weird as f**k.” the streamer continued. “Because I don’t think you’re making that same expression in real life, I think you are seething.” Pokimane hasn’t publically responded to the accusations at the time of writing, but 39daph said she thought it was ridiculous that she was this upset about an unfollowing. “It’s crazy that she has her head so far up her own ass that she thinks I unfollowed her because she unfollowed SlikeR,” 39daph continued. “Which SlikeR talked about on his stream, but in reality, I unfollowed her months ago because I don’t watch her stuff.” New arch enemies, or just a misunderstanding? For her part, 39daph didn’t leave the possibility of patching things up with pokimane over the Twitter drama off the table and explained she thought the two could actually be friends. “Do I care if she’s mad? Not really, to be honest, I could see us being friends,” she said after discussing the confrontation. ” Both streamers have a sizeable Twitch following, and Pokimane still has to respond to 39daph’s claims, so it will be interesting to see how this all plays out.

  • 39daph rages at Greekgodx for infuriating backseat gaming – Dexerto

39daph rages at Greekgodx for infuriating backseat gaming Twitter @39daph / Twitter @greekgodxTwitch streamer 39daph exploded at Dimitri ‘Greekgodx’ Antonatos for his ‘backseat gaming’ during an Escape from Tarkov run. 39daph is a popular variety streamer that can be seen playing just about any game, as well as ‘just chatting’ with her viewers while drawing. On January 21 she was trying out Escape from Tarkov, the newest Twitch trend, with fellow streamers Greekgodx and Hasan ‘HasanAbi’ Piker. All three were still fairly fresh to the game, and just getting the hang of it. Even when new to a game though, no one likes a backseat gamer. The act of directly telling another play what to do and where to do it is bound to be infuriating. Daph was low on health after a tough fight and had no idea where to go as she was slowly bleeding out. Hassan urged her to loot the person she had just killed before moving on. But, as she began to do as instructed, Greek screamed for her to heal. This caused her to go back and forth a few times, essentially wasting time, and she had finally had enough, exploding at Greekgodx: “You’re f**king making me anxious as f**k by telling me to do this and do that! Shut the f**k up Greek! You’re so f**cking annoying!” Greek then fell silent for a short while, before finally apologizing for antagonizing daph. The two made up without much issue and thanks to his (and Hassan’s) more useful advice she was able to survive and find an extraction point, barely saving a whole bunch of loot. Of course, her chat absolutely loved the situation, both praising her for slamming Greek as well as laughing at her “meltdown”. Greekgodx undoubtedly learned his lesson as well. He was much tamer following the outburst and will likely think twice about backseat gaming again – especially if 39daph is around.

  • 39daph freaks out viewers with her bizarre stomach noises – Dexerto

39daph freaks out viewers with her bizarre stomach noises Twitch streamer 39daph freaked out her viewers with a litany of bizarre noises coming from her stomach in a January 7 livestream. Daph’s stream is a multi-layered one, often playing a variety of different games while also occupying Just Chatting with her viewers or running them through her artwork and design. During one of her art streams, daph was working on an RPG-inspired piece, using what appears to be Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice protagonist ‘Wolf’ as her muse. However, a distracting noise took away from the ambiance of the stream and daph was forced to address it. While working on some of the more intricate aspects of the design, a strange noise seemed to emanate through the stream, and rather than ignore it, daph pulled it up straight away, turning off her music to give viewers a better listen. “Oh my god, my stomach,” she said. “Do you hear this?” Sure enough, with the music gone, you can hear a persistent bubbling coming from her stomach that could almost pass for underwater background noise if ignored. Staying silent so her viewers can get the full scope of her stomach troubles, daph simply stared straight ahead with a deadpan expression as the storm raged on in her loins. The longer the sounds continued, the more the interaction in her chat went up, with viewers spamming various emotes, laughing and asking what on earth was going on. Eventually, 39daph put the music back on and laughed it off, responding to the comments in her chat. She then continued with her design as if nothing had ever happened and the war being waged in her gut was non-existent. Needless to say, this is definitely strange but it isn’t the weirdest thing to happen on stream. Some livestreamers have to deal with being attacked with water bottles, or threatened by knife-wielding strangers. Given the choice, we’d take the strange stomach sounds.

  • 2K streamer IShowSpeed smashes 1 million YouTube subscriber goal in just one week – Dexerto

2K streamer IShowSpeed smashes 1 million YouTube subscriber goal in just one week YouTube, IShowSpeedIShowSpeed is best known for streaming NBA 2K, but now he’s becoming known for speed-running YouTube. In under a week, the streamer went from under 500,000 followers to… 1.5 million. If you’re in the NBA 2K community, you’ve probably heard of the emerging streamer IShowSpeed. If you’re not in that community, you still may know him by face — as he’s had videos go viral on Twitter and TikTok. While earlier jump-scare videos were big on the web, IShowSpeed’s recent growth didn’t happen until a TikTok video showed how devastated he was by a trolling fanbase. The streamer was reacting live as his fans decided to unsubscribe for an angry reaction. With his subs dropping to under 400,000, they definitely got a reaction out of Speed. But that reaction has gone in the opposite direction now, as he has gained over a million followers since that TikTok went viral. As seen in the TikTok, Speed seems to be in real, impassioned pain as he screams at his fans asking what they’re doing and pleading with them to stop unsubscribing. It turns out they were probably just doing it to get a rise out of the energetic streamer, as his numbers have skyrocketed well past the 400K mark in the week since. During a June 30 stream, he watched the subscriber ticker live as it bounced toward one million — eventually eclipsing the YouTube benchmark. Having flown past his goals of 500K and one million, IShowSpeed now sits at 1.53 million subscribers on YouTube at the time of writing. The majority of reactions are overwhelmingly positive, as people congratulate him on living up to his name and speed-running the YouTube game. It’s unclear if Speed intends to celebrate these new numbers or is worried that his fans might troll again and mass unsubscribe. One thing is clear though, it’ll be a lot harder to put a dent in his 1.5 million count than it was when he had 400K.

In the two-part announcement video, every member was officially iced with the 100 Thieves chain to commemorate the new signing. Just like The Mob in 2019, 2HYPE is expected to add another style of content to the org’s multifaceted hold on the streaming/video creation space. This marks a second major expansion for the company in the fourth quarter of 2020, with the org announcing their return to Call of Duty esports with the LA Thieves franchise. 100 Thieves are making big moves, and the new collaboration with 2HYPE is only going to bolster the army of creators signed by the org.

29-year-old TikToker met with death threats for sharing her childless Saturday plans Unsplash: Austin Lowman / YouTube: Matt Walsh / TikTok: pmdpodA TikToker enjoying life at 29 shared her weekend plans, which didn’t include any children or partner. To her surprise, she was met with immense backlash. Women in America have been having children later in life, with the average age at first birth slowly moving up over this last decade. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the average has moved from 25.6 years in 2011 to 27.3 years in 2021. This could be for a number of reasons, whether that be wanting to accomplish specific goals before starting a family or desiring financial, professional, and emotional stability first. However, not everyone is on board with this, as one TikToker found out. Julia Mazur, who goes by ‘pmdpod’ on TikTok, posted a video discussing her Saturday plans, which involved watching reality TV and learning how to make Shakuka. To her surprise, the video was shared by American right-wing political commentator and activist, Matt Walsh, resulting in Mazur receiving an onslaught of backlash. “Her life doesn’t revolve around her family and kids so instead it revolves around TV shows and pop stars,” Walsh wrote in his Twitter post. “Worst of all she’s too stupid to realize how depressing this is.” And his followers largely agreed, calling Mazur a “narcissist”, “sad”, and “miserable” in the comments. But the backlash didn’t stop there, with Mazur posting a follow-up TikTok in which she revealed she’d received a range of horrible messages since Walsh’s share. “The way that his followers bullied me in the comments, reached out to me on social media, threatened me, was honestly abhorrent,” Mazur said. She went on to list some of the shocking things that had been said to her; “Some of his followers said that I was going to die alone, I should actually die and never leave my house, I should be sexually assaulted, I’m pathetic, I’m a wh***, and that I was dead behind my eyes.” Nonetheless, Mazur remained positive and stood by her choices in life, saying; “Life’s too short to be living life figuring out what Matt Walsh wants us to do and what some internet troll behind their keyboard is saying.” Walsh has also defended his take on Twitter, tweeting, “If you go out and promote a life of meaninglessness and despair, I might respond and point out that meaninglessness and despair are not good things.” “Take care of your own perfect life, Matt. Let others have the freedom to live theirs,” one person responded. “Nobody wants your life advice unless they asked you.” Check out all the latest entertainment news on our page here.

Living in the home where you grew up, oh, what a luxury. There’s familiar smells, memories of your childhood, and even better, it’s filled with those that you love. So, when Sabi Hesri revealed to her 1.9 million TikTok followers that she still lives at home as a 25-year-old, she may not have anticipated having to explain why. However, in a now-viral video, Hesri shared with her followers the reasoning behind still living at her parent’s house despite “expiring” while under their roof. TikTokers express their understanding about still living at home at 25-years-old Syrian influencer Sabi Hesri has a pretty sweet situation where everything she needs is prepared for her. Though she works a steady job, influencing millions online with her YouTube channel, podcast, and other socials, she still has the necessities covered by others in her life. How is that possible, one may ask? Well, she still lives in her parent’s home as a 25-year-old woman. In her viral TikTok video explaining why she has decided to stay there, Hesri said, “I don’t pay rent, my mom makes amazing food every day, and I’ll never live with my parents again after I get married and move out — these are the only years I have!” Hesri continued to poke fun at herself, saying, “Sometimes I’m like, ‘Okay, I really gotta go. I’m getting old, I’m expiring in this house.’ And other times, I’m like… ‘I’m just a baby!’” Hesri also expressed that she would be too “lonely and bored” if she moved out of her parent’s house, saying that she’s single and wouldn’t know what to do without the daily entertainment from her family. Those who viewed Hesri’s TikTok took to her comments to tell her she’s not the only twenty-something living in their parent’s home, saying, “Ok, I’m 28 and I still live with my parents! It’s literally the best thing.” As well as, “Girl, no explanation needed. Asian households are usually like that. I still live with my parents too, and I’m 27!!” Others even urged Hesri to go at her own pace and move out when she desired to do so, saying, “Don’t! Live life at your own pace and your own rules. No one has a say, they will never understand our bond with our families as Arabs. Enjoy it.” One viewer even commented saying that Hesri’s video reminded him of his time at home, saying, “I miss my mom’s cooking. This video convinced me I need to move back in after 13 years out of her house.”

Thousands of examples have been tossed back and forth to come to a conclusion, with users arguing about the number of doors in highrise buildings to the millions of wheels LEGO produces annually for their toy sets. Where there is a big debate with strong views on both sides, it’s often a vote that decides the winner. Well, that’s exactly what happened with TikTok’s Doors vs Wheels argument. Similar to previous TikTok debates about dress colors and other things, it’s unclear as to whether we’ll ever get a conclusive answer to the question – but what do you think? Are you Team Doors or Team Wheels?

One viewer even commented about Katylee not being responsible for her achievements, saying, “It seems like you’ve had LOTS of help. So, it’s not just your achievement here. Be sure to thank all of those that helped you get here.” While another questioned the validity of how much Katylee was making on TikTok, saying, “Ain’t no way TikTok is paying this much. 18 arrested in raids connected to Twitch money laundering scandal in Turkey TwitterA new wave of raids in Turkey, in response to a Twitch money laundering scam, has resulted in 18 arrests as authorities crackdown on alleged perpetrators. On Tuesday, May 17, cybercrime units in Istanbul and other cities across Turkey conducted operations simultaneously with police detaining 18 suspects. As reported by Daily Sabah, one suspect is still wanted by police for their role in the Twitch money laundering scam. The scandal first gained attention back when the income of Twitch’s highest earners was leaked, revealing some smaller streamers were earning an outrageous amount of money, far beyond what streamers their size earn. Footage of Turkish authorities raiding and detaining suspects over allegations of fraud through Twitch bits 🧵1/4 pic.twitter.com/UYKFaIfln4 — Dexerto (@Dexerto) May 17, 2022 It is alleged that the scammers would collaborate with Twitch streamers and send them “bits” (Twitch’s currency) paid with stolen credit and debit cards and then receive cash in return. Basically, the Twitch streamers involved would refund 70-80% and keep the rest, giving them a nice payday. According to Twitch, action had been taken against 150 streamers for abuse of its monetization tools resulting in $9.8 million being laundered through the Amazon-owned streaming site. This isn’t the first large-scale operation connected to the money laundering scandal. Back in January, 40 people were arrested in 11 different provinces across Turkey. It’s unclear just how many are suspected to be involved, but this new wave puts the arrest total at 58.

17-year-old dies climbing new LA bridge for social media stunt PexelsA 17-year-old has died after attempting to climb a bridge in Los Angeles as part of a broadcast on social media, police have confirmed. Details about the incident remain limited, such as the identity of the deceased, and what social media platform they were broadcasting on. Officers were called at around 2am on Saturday, May 20, to the Sixth Street Viaduct. There, they found the teenager, who was later pronounced dead in hospital. According to police, the teenager slipped and fell “when climbing upon one of the arches. Police Chief Michel Moore said the stunt was performed “in order to post, apparently, a social media broadcast.” The bridge in question is a new feature in LA, opened in July 2022, to replace an older art-deco style bridge, at a cost of $588 million. At the top, there are views of the LA skyline, which might have been the teenager’s ambition to reach. The bridge has become a hotspot though, with police having to close it on numerous occasions in the past. Illegal activities such as street racing and graffiti have caused these closures, as well as one incident where a barber cut a man’s hair in the middle of the traffic lanes. In January, a killing took place on the bridge, when a man was shot and killed during the filming of a music video. Police Chief Moore continued, “Tragically we see that location, while it has spawned a great deal of pride in Los Angeles, it has also unfortunately served as a backdrop now for tragedies such as this. Our added patrols will continue at that location to counter such reckless actions.”

  • 16-year-old TommyInnit hits 40K Twitch subs, raking in over $150,000 – Dexerto

16-year-old TommyInnit hits 40K Twitch subs, raking in over $150,000 Twitch: TommyInnitMinecraft star Thomas ‘Tommyinnit’ Simons hit the ridiculous mark of 40,000 subscribers on Twitch, which, even with the most conservative estimates, would bag him around $150,000 per month. Even though it’s been around since 2009, Minecraft has become incredibly popular with creators in the last 18 months, as many have flocked to the sandbox survival game. Some have only had a brief stint playing the game, but others like the DreamSMP server players, have stuck around for much longer and had a huge amount of success. Their videos and streams rack up millions of views, with 16-year-old Tommyinnit having the most success when it comes to Twitch by amassing over 40,000 paying subscribers on the Amazon-owned platform. The 16-year-old British streamer hit the crazy mark during his January 7 stream where he dived into the DreamSMP server for just over an hour’s worth of play. The subscriptions quickly rolled in and after starting with just over 39,000 subs, he eclipsed his goal of 40,000 subs by the halfway point. That, if it held up – and assuming that the streamer gets around $3.50 per $5 sub (the exact split can vary) – would equate to over $150,000 per month. As his stream came to an end, and presumably so did a number of subscriptions, his total dipped to just under the 40,000 mark – finishing up at 39,674. In total, for that hour-long stream alone though, he got 957 subs. That total of 39,674 puts him fourth of all Twitch streamers when it comes to subscribers. According to TwitchTracker, Tommy sits just behind xQc, NICKMERCS, and Ibai, and is just ahead of fifth-placed Sykunno. It should be noted that Twitch does not publicly disclose subscriber counts, and so we must rely on figures provided by the streamers themselves. In addition, the Minecrafter also averages around four million views on his DreamSNP YouTube uploads too, so, he’s not going to be strapped for cash anytime soon. Despite all this, he still goes to college – and once had to end his stream suddenly when he remembered he had an essay due the next day.

16-year-old dies after trying TikTok’s dangerous ‘scarf game’ challenge Facebook: AfricultureA 16-year-old girl has died after attempting the ‘scarf game’ TikTok challenge, which sees participants fastening the cloth around their necks until they pass out. Christy Sibali Dominique Gloire Gassaille died in May, after trying the viral ‘scarf game,’ which is a variation of TikTok’s dangerous ‘Blackout Challenge‘ that has claimed several lives over the years. The 16-year-old French girl, who grew up in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, was reportedly at home when she attempted the deadly stunt. She passed away on May 27, Jam Press reports. The sick game sees participants fasten a piece of cloth around their necks to asphyxiate themselves until they pass out. Similar to the Blackout Challenge, this exploit can restrict the oxygen flow to the brain, causing seizures, serious injury, and even death. Following Gassaille’s tragic death last month, she was buried on June 7 at the Fleury les Aubrais cemetery, near her home in Orléans, France. Her passing is another that has been caused by choking challenges, which have become increasingly popular on the short-form video app. However, TikTok appears to have placed restrictions, as a search for the term “scarf game” returns a “no results found” message. The message reads: “This phrase may be associated with behavior or content that violates our guidelines. Promoting a safe and positive experience is TikTok’s top priority. For more information, we invite you to review our Community Guidelines.” There has been a report of another young death from a similar viral choking challenge. In January 2023, a 12-year-old Argentinian girl died while recording herself attempting this stunt with a makeshift noose. Previously, TikTok faced wrongful death lawsuits after two California girls allegedly hanged themselves to death after watching blackout challenge videos on the app. However, the platform’s reps declared that “choking game” injuries sustained by young people long predate the blackout challenge.

  • 15-year-old YouTuber reveals why she faked her own pregnancy – Dexerto

15-year-old YouTuber reveals why she faked her own pregnancy Danielle Cohn, Instagram15-year-old YouTuber Danielle Cohn shocked the internet after announcing her pregnancy and wedding in early April – but some fans were skeptical that the announcements were merely a prank. Cohn later came out with a statement confirming that both her pregnancy and the wedding were faked, claiming in an Instagram video that she and her boyfriend Mikey Tua had only meant to prank their parents and friends during a trip to Las Vegas after being inspired by Netflix series ‘13 Reasons Why.’ That’s not all; Cohn likewise stated that the prank was meant to draw awareness to body-image issues and shaming around teen pregnancy, while also hoping to “give the haters something to talk about.” View this post on InstagramWe never meant to hurt anyone. It was for entertainment like all youtubers do. We got inspired by 13 reason why and wanted to do a series. To spread awareness to young girls. Being called fat and pregnant everyday. I wanted to give the haters something to talk about. In the end people got hurt. Mikey and I are truly sorry. Explaining their pregnancy prank “Never in a million years thought that it would be on news articles, it would be on Twitter’s most trending,” Cohn said of the debacle. “I never thought it was going to go that big. I just thought of it as a prank that we were doing for fun.” That’s not all; the duo appeared in a separate video on Tua’s Instagram account, where they made a statement on teen pregnancy and claimed that 15% of their earnings from their four-part YouTube video series on the prank would be donated to Planned Parenthood. Backlash against the teen pregnancy practical joke However, the final video out of Cohn’s four-part series is missing from her YouTube channel, as are a few of Tua’s Tweets on the matter – and some fans aren’t happy with their explanation of the prank, despite their promise to donate and spread awareness. “It’s not funny to do that, there are people out there who would do anything to have a baby and you just shat on them, fuck you both,” one user wrote of the issue. 500“…she deserves to lose all her subscribers and followers and fans, another Tweeted. “Sorry, it’s harsh but it’s true. This is so offensive to people who can’t have kids and like, wtf, use your head next time you plan a prank.” you’re really fricken stupid if you think this is funny. she deserves to lose all her subscribers and followers and fans. sorry, it’s harsh but it’s true. this is so offensive to people who can’t have kids and like wtf use your head next time you plan a prank. — madison (@CRAZYFORDREW_) April 18, 2019 Cohn has since posted a slew of positive messages regarding the incident to her Instagram story, appearing to “block out the haters” in response to the backlash.

  • 15-year-old YouTuber stirs controversy after revealing possible pregnancy – Dexerto

15-year-old YouTuber stirs controversy after revealing possible pregnancy Danielle Cohn, Instagram15-year-old YouTuber Danielle Cohn received a massive online following for her music career – but now, the social media star is turning heads for a different reason. Cohn posted a divisive Tweet on April 11 appearing to hint at a possible pregnancy, simply writing, “8/14/19” – which many believed to be a due date. This theory seemed to be backed up by Cohn’s boyfriend, Mikey Tua, who posted a similar Tweet on the same day, this time using the hashtag ‘#manibaby.’ An elaborate pregnancy announcement… and a Vegas wedding? The couple later uploaded a video announcing to their parents that the two were, indeed, expecting – but that wasn’t the end of their announcements, by far. Cohn went on to upload a video of her marriage to Tua in Las Vegas, where they were joined in matrimony by an Elvis Presley impersonator, later posting a photo of their marriage certificate to Instagram as proof of their union. Rumors of her pregnancy were further inflamed after Cohn posted a telling photo to Instagram on April 11, showing Tua kissing her exposed stomach. Despite these posts, critics theorize that the couple is merely playing an elaborate prank on their parents, while others are taking issue with Cohn’s young age in relation to her potential pregnancy. Is it all just a prank? Speculation has since arisen concerning Cohn’s real age, with some fans wondering if the YouTuber is truly 15 years old, after all. Cohn’s public YouTube profile states that she was born on March 7, 2004, rendering her 15 years old as of 2019; but this date isn’t appeasing some fans, who claim that she was actually born in 2007. Cohn’s gender reveal party likewise received ample speculation, with fans noting that pregnant mothers have to wait for about 16 – 20 weeks for an accurate ultrasound of their baby’s gender, which doesn’t seem to add up with Cohn’s announcement on April 11 – nor her apparent lack of a prominent baby bump. 600Even Drama Alert’s Daniel ‘KEEMSTAR’ Keem weighed in on the issue, theorizing that Cohn’s wedding and pregnancy are both a stunt to gain views on YouTube. “This cannot be real,” KEEMSTAR said of the debacle. “I don’t believe this. I don’t think she’s pregnant… I think this is all BS for YouTube.” [Timestamp: 1:13 for mobile viewers] Whether or not Cohn’s pregnancy is legitimate remains to be seen; however, the YouTuber’s possible ploy is certainly convincing, as she continues to keep up what could be a massively elaborate charade.

15-year-old releases disturbing diss track for grandma who reported him missing Nada RecordingA 15-year-old has released a threatening, viral diss track targeting his own grandmother for reporting him missing. There have been some legendary rap beefs over the course of the genre’s history with Kendrick Lamar and Drake repeatedly breaking records in their recent bout. Drawing in the entire internet including Kai Cenat and xQc, that particular feud will likely be viewed as the greatest of the modern age. Yes, there have been some legendary rivalries from Tupac and Biggie to Eminem and Machinegun Kelly but none come close to this latest duo. A 15-year-old boy and his grandma… Young rapper Tyron Giles recently released a violent diss track calling out his own grandmother for reporting him missing to police. The nearly 2-minute track has gained viral attention after being shared around social media. The Columbus Police Department of Georgia put out a missing persons report regarding Giles on June 6, 2024, after he was not seen at home for a few days. The initial report was filed by the 15-year-old’s grandmother and he was eventually found. Giles’ response to the incident was a diss track in which he called his grandma a ho as well as threatening to stab and shoot her. He went on to claim that she had lied and he was never missing. “On God, ho, why you done lied to the whole net? Talkin’ bout on me, said I ain’t missin’, I’m just livin’ my best. Don’t wanna come back home to granny, she know what up next. She keep on talkin’, I send shots straight through her chest,” Giles spat on the track. The Baller Alert blog reported that Giles’ own uncle had responded to the track online and shed some light on the situation. “He has been living with his grandmother, my mother, who has had custody of him for most of his life. His mother is not present but his father does provide some financial assistance,” Giles’ uncle explained. “My mother suffered a stroke in August of 2022 and although this young man has always been a challenge, he has really lost his mind since her stroke,” he continued. “My mom is concerned for his safety because he is aligning himself with the wrong people and activities but he is more concerned about getting internet clout by disrespecting his grandma.” The Columbus Police Department has made no comment regarding the diss track at the time of writing. Whether or not the threats in the diss track are being taken seriously remains unclear.

Someone tells 14 year old streamer to stick his hand in a mixer – so he does 1grassTwitch streamer Gavin ‘1grass’ McFarlen decided to stick his hands into a moving kitchen mixer after a viewer suggested it and it turned out exactly like you would expect. Cooking streams (especially cooking stream fails) are popular content on Twitch, where a streamer makes or cooks something along with their viewers. 1grass is a smaller streamer, so when one of his viewers told him to stick his hands into the moving kitchen mixer, he happily obliged. Why did he stick his hand in a mixer? Twitter user Xtinct said they discovered 1grass’s stream and found he had only a few viewers, so they decided to tell him to stick his hand into the running mixer, for some reason. “Found a 2 viewer stream on twitch with some 14 yr old cooking and i told him to help mix with his hands,” Xtinct wrote on Twitter. found a 2 viewer stream on twitch with some 14 yr old cooking and i told him to help mix with his hands pic.twitter.com/mopCytd8uA — Xtinct (@XtinctOW) August 12, 2019 Based on the amount of likes and retweets the video got, plenty of people found it funny, but there were also a number of people who weren’t amused. “How’s that even fucking funny?” user JediGamer replied. “I’m a chef and I know the damage those things can do….if it’s going fast enough those things can mash your hands up easily…..not funny at all.” “Didn’t find it funny. Trying to get some kid hurt,” another user by the name of HellzGates replied. But, the mixing incident, as with so many odd things found on Twitch, could actually end up working in 1grass’s favor. “I mean he seems like a good kid, but if you put your hands into an activated mixer and don’t expect something bad to happen, that’s all on you,” Twitter user DJZooWap replied. “He looks old enough to know that it wouldn’t be a good idea. Aside from that, this was funny as hell and ima head over to follow him lol.” I mean he seems like a good kid, but if you put your hands into an activated mixer and don’t expect something bad to happen, that’s all on you. Apart from some potential bruises, 1grass seemed to be fine after his impromptu handshake with the mixer and seems to be taking the whole thing in stride. • 14 biggest video game films & tv coming soon: Uncharted, The Last of Us – Dexerto

14 biggest video game films & tv coming soon: Uncharted, The Last of Us Naughty DogVideo games continue to be a huge business that rakes in billions each year. With the increased attitudes towards accessible streaming services and continued game sales, more and more are being brought to the visual medium. Here are the biggest upcoming video game film & tv shows we can hope to see. Regardless of the current legacy of video game films and TV series, the future is always bright. There’s always the fear that a beloved video game franchise is going to be stopped up and given the Hollywood touch. Lots of the time this strips a game of the things that made it so prosperous and treasured. But lots have also got the formula spot on. In any event, there seems to be more video game film & TV projects being given the green light than ever before. Today, we’ll pick out the standout mentions for you to look forward to. With this knowledge, you can pre-book tickets, renew Netflix, and hopefully look forward to some stunning adaptations. What to expect and look forward to Firstly, it’s simple to suggest we can expect ALL of them to come out in 2021. However, we’ve obviously all been subjected to a worldwide disruption that has changed a lot of things. Presumably, production schedules are another thing that will have been interrupted. So if any of these turn out to be inaccurate, they’ll be updated accordingly. In any case, here some upcoming video game film & tv series we can hopefully savor in the near future. Films Uncharted Filming is done. The wait begins. One of the most adored franchises over the last 10+ years is finally coming to the big screen. Starring Tom Holland as a young Nathan Drake and Mark Whalberg as his Sullivan, the hype will reach unfathomable heights for this one. We have to hope that the film some semblance of the successful games. Rainbow Six A hugely successful esports King, but will it translate to a film? That’s the big question. Not much is known about the film as yet. All we do know is that it stars Michael B. Jordan – known for his roles in Creed and Black Panther. Tomb Raider 2 2018’s reboot of Tomb Raider saw the return of our legendary treasure hunter, the original Nathan Drake. Alicia Vikander performed admirably in the role and is set to hit the big screen as Lara once again. Minecraft Hands up who asked for as Minecraft film? That’s what I thought. But I guess it makes sense if that game has sold over 200 million copies and is one of the most successful money-makers in history, then why not? This bizarrely live-action film’s production has been pushed back, but will eventually be released. Mortal Kombat After two largely unsuccessful efforts, in the mid-90’s, to recreate the magic of Mortal Kombat, a third now finally beckons. Unless you have thousands upon thousands of gallons of blood spilled and 4 spines ripped out, then it’s a tough ask. Nevertheless, the film’s tentative release date has been moved back, but is still set for 2021. The Division Another big Ubisoft name trying to be propelled into the spotlight. Again, there’s not much substance behind this one. But we do know that’s already got Jake Gyllenhall and Jessica Chastain are signed up to star in it. Monster Hunter Releasing very soon, Monster Hunter games are awe-inspiring RPGs that feature epic battles against ominous beasts. So it’ll be interesting to see how Resident Evil’s Milla Jovovich can translate that to the Monster Hunter film. Five Night’s At Freddy’s The breakout horror-hit has not only scared YouTubers and streamers alike but will scare live audiences too. It’s faced a long development period, but creator Scott Cawthon is still resilient in his attempts to have his animatronics come to life, again. Interestingly, Christopher Colombus is currently in the Director’s chair, the faith is high for FNAF. Television The Last of Us – HBO Another Naughty Dog project that hardcore fans will not want to see messed up. The original 2013 game quickly cemented itself as an all-time great thanks to its masterful storytelling. The show is currently in the early stages of development, so we’ll find out whether HBO can do this ever-popular title justice. The Witcher Season 2 Geralt of Rivia returns to slay more beasts and the hearts of many. Henry Cavill has captured the hearts of many with his portrayal of Geralt. The Witcher has a lot of longevity and it’s going to be a fascinating return for Netflix’s adaptation of Andrzej Sapkowski’s classic. Resident Evil It turns out that Resident Evil: The Final Chapter was the final chapter…sort of. The game synonymous with zombies is being rebooted for Netflix and welcomes a brand new cast. It’s also getting a dual-release with a fully animated show, and a live-action one that includes Tom Hopper, Hannah John-Kamen, and Neal McDonough. Final Fantasy This one is going to be a fascinating watch or an incredible trainwreck. The world of Final Fantasy is so magical and wondrous that a live-action adaptation could be fun. Set during FF14, we should hopefully be treated to all the dramatic summons, spells, and drama that a FF film should have. Cuphead StudioMDHR’s innovative and charming side-scroller is receiving its own Netflix series called The Cuphead Show! It’s already had a trailer, it’s already got the buzz, and it continues Cuphead’s meteoric rise from the adorable indie title. The game itself is racked with personality and memorable characters, this show should be a continuation of that. Splinter Cell Some fans will be furious that a film is set to arrive before a new Splinter Cell game, but it is what it is. Not much is known about the potential film, Tom Hardy was originally announced to be playing Sam Fisher, but there’s hasn’t been much on it since. The latest reports say that it could be transitioning to a Netflix TV series instead. And that’s your lot. As you can see, plenty of upcoming video game films and tv shows to look forward to with more sure to be announced.

  • 14 arrests made at San Diego Comic-Con in human trafficking sting – Dexerto

14 arrests made at San Diego Comic-Con in human trafficking sting Comic-ConA Police task force arrested 14 people at 2024’s San Diego Comic-Con as part of a human trafficking sting, with 10 victims being recovered in the operation. In a press release by the Attorney General of California, they announced that an investigation through the San Diego Human Trafficking Task Force conducted an operation from July 25 to 27, which aimed to recover victims of sex trafficking and targeting sex buyers. The operation resulted in the arrest of 14 people and the recovery of 10 victims, one of whom was a 16-year-old juvenile. “Unfortunately, sex traffickers capitalize on large-scale events such as Comic-Con to exploit their victims for profit,” said Attorney General Rob Bonta. “These arrests send a clear message to potential offenders that their criminal behavior will not be tolerated.” According to the press release, over the three days of the operation, law enforcement personnel went undercover as sex buyers to identify victims and arrest their traffickers by posting advertisements soliciting their services. “There is no more insidious crime than human trafficking,” said San Diego Sheriff Kelly Martinex. “The coercion and violence which enslaves people for profit and places them into forced labor or sex is criminal.” SDCC is generally one of the biggest events for San Diego every year, drawing in 100,000 visitors to the convention annually, however, as the press release states, it is also a place where human trafficking can take place. In a statement to IGN, San Diego Comic-Con said they were unaware of the investigation. “Obviously we find this very disturbing and, while we were not made aware of this operation, it is our understanding that the arrests were made outside of the event,” their statement reads. “We work closely with a variety of law enforcement entities throughout the year and stand ready to assist in any way we can.”

11-year-old Florida boy fakes school bomb threat for TikTok fame Unsplash: david von diemarAn 11-year-old boy faked a bomb threat for TikTok fame, but at what cost? For the last couple of months, a TikTok trend where students record themselves calling out a fake bomb or gun threat has raised concerns all over. Police departments have even released statements regarding the trend in hopes of decreasing the likelihood of fake threats. However, last Wednesday, an 11-year-old boy from Florida decided to partake in the TikTok trend and was ultimately taken to jail. 11-year-old boy charged with a felony and misdemeanor According to FOX 35, a sixth-grade student stood up in the middle of his class last Wednesday and uttered, “There is a bomb on campus!” Hoping to gain a following on TikTok for his fake threat, the boy was instead met with a trip to the local jail for processing. He was then taken to the Department of Juvenile Justice due to his young age. There, he was charged with a felony for making a false report about planting a bomb, an explosive, or a weapon of mass destruction. Not only that but the boy was also charged with a misdemeanor for disrupting a school function. However, before being taken away by authorities, the entire premises of the sixth-grade building was searched and evacuated to ensure full safety for all involved. And though he admitted to police that, “It was only a joke and there is no bomb,” the boy will seemingly have to face the full repercussions of his decision.

  • 100T streamer Yassuo calls out Fedmyster for abuse of trust – Dexerto

100T streamer Yassuo calls out Fedmyster for abuse of trust Twitter: fedmyster[jwplayer 3rV0GuQ7]Popular Twitch streamer Moe ‘Yassuo’ Abdalrhman has said that Federico ‘Fedmyster’ Gaytan has done “unforgivable” things to himself and others, following Fed’s harassment and manipulation allegations. On June 28, it was announced that Fedmyster would immediately be removed from the OfflineTV house and content team following accusations of sexual misconduct from fellow OTV members Yvonnie and LilyPichu. Since these two shared their stories, a number of other people have come out to explain situations in which Fed has wronged them or made them feel deeply uncomfortable, and one of them is former best friend Yassuo. In an impassioned Twitch stream on June 30, Yassuo spoke about how Fedmyster abused his trust on a number of occasions, particularly when he was going through a real low-point in his life. Yassuo spoke with his viewers about the allegations for around 30-35 minutes, insisting that viewers send their love to the likes of Lily, Yvonne, and Pokimane, who has also shared her uncomfortable experiences with Fed and saying he was a “big reason” she left the OfflineTV house. “This is a guy that has literally been one of my best friends,” Moe said. “We were literally stuck together like glue at events. When I was going through my anxiety and depression, there were two people I spoke to most about it. Ibrahim, literally my best friend, and Fed. That should show you how much I trusted him.” Then, Yassuo spoke about how Fed abused this trust. “I’m not going to go into it again, but the stuff I told him while I was depressed: The fact he used the sh*t I told him against me, and did sh*t that made me more sad, it’s something unforgivable.” Yassuo also adds that he didn’t know about it at the time, but Fed “did more f**ked up sh*t than you can imagine.” Fedmyster has issued a public apology on his Twitter account but has disappeared from social media since. OfflineTV intends to continue creating content, with the group of Pokimane, DisguisedToast, Scarra, LilyPichu, and Michael Reeves taking a short break from releasing content on the organization’s official YouTube channels.

  • 100T Froste riles up the BTS fans as Coronavrius joke goes viral – Dexerto

100T Froste riles up the BTS fans as Coronavrius joke goes viral Twitter / 100 Thieves / IG: BTS100 Thieves member and Mob co-founder ‘Froste ‘poked the digital hornet’s nest when he tweeted a quip about Korean pop group BTS and Coronavirus that went viral. Froste has never shied away from cracking jokes on Twitter – one of which invoked the wrath of a seriously dedicated fanbase. With the ongoing Coronavirus outbreak dominating headlines inside and outside of esports and gaming, the Mob member posted a joke aimed at the passion and dedication exhibited by fans of BTS. if BTS gets Coronavirus the stans are gonna find a cure within 24 hours — Froste 💯 (@Froste) March 12, 2020 Froste has had a number of his tweets go viral, but this one exploded, garnering nearly 100,000 retweets, over 600,000 likes, a huge amount of angry replies and quoted retweets from BTS fans. In fact, he was so entertained by the range of replies that he received that he didn’t just retweet his favorites – he replied with a thread of literally all of the quote retweets. Several hardcore BTS fans responded negatively in a variety of ways, including accusations of racism, chastising Froste for making jokes about the situation, pointing out how much the BTS Army has donated to combat coronavirus, outright roasting him, and even some threats of bodily harm. Look guys, it’s another reason why I’ve lost faith in humanity The 👏 corona 👏 virus 👏 isn’t 👏 a joke 👏👏👏 https://t.co/CirctIV4Dh — -_- (@jentIeten) March 12, 2020 https://twitter.com/baapsae/status/1237925661446209539 https://twitter.com/BTSoverlord/status/1238040618510794752 Like any tweet that invokes the wrath of the Korean pop group’s fans, several replies also are quick to point out how dedicated and perhaps overzealous some of them are, which was the basis of Froste’s original joke. Several big internet stars, including YouTube king Felix ‘PewDiePie’ Kjellberg and popular Twitch streamer Félix ‘xQc‘ Lengyel have had their own run-ins with the group’s fans, with Felix calling them “the most insane people on the planet.” While supporters are quick to pounce on the boy band’s haters, the BTS “Army” can also be quite welcoming to those who genuinely support the group, such as professional wrestler and Hollywood actor John Cena. Since The Mob joined 100 Thieves back in August 2019, the group has appeared in more and more 100T content, and have upped their individual Twitter games. Froste has even gone viral before, with a strange reply to makeup YouTuber James Charles. In the war between The Mob and an actual mob of K-pop fans, there’s no clear winner – apart from Twitter itself.

  • 100 Thieves’ CouRage unhurt in second car accident in a week – Dexerto

100 Thieves’ CouRage unhurt in second car accident in a week Everyone involved is alright as Jack ‘CouRage’ Dunlop revealed on Twitter on December 8 that he got rear-ended while driving around in Los Angeles, his second car accident in just a matter of days. It takes courage to drive around Los Angeles with the state of that traffic situation. Apparently, it’s also taking years off of CouRage’s life when it comes to stress induced by getting rear-ended. Just days prior to this latest incident, Jack let his fans know on Twitter that he got into his very first ‘car accident’ on December 5. While waiting for a red light to turn green, he got rear-ended by a driver who was distracted by their phone. CouRage emphasized the importance of not texting and driving, which for some reason many people still do not fully understand. Just got into my first “car accident” ever! I was parked at a red light and a woman who was on her phone drove into the back of my car. Thankfully no damage and nobody was hurt. BUT FOR THE LOVE OF GOD STOP TEXTING AND DRIVING PEOPLE. — Jack “CouRage” Dunlop (@CouRageJD) December 5, 2019 But just days removed from that incident, the back of Jack’s car was subject to more abuse, again as he was sitting at a red light. But this time, the driver was reportedly going much faster, and caused some serious damage to the rear of the vehicle. So…just got into my second car accident. Guy just drove straight into the back of me while sitting at a red light. He must’ve been going 30 miles an hour. Thankfully, it seems everyone is alright. For fucks sake. pic.twitter.com/pGfAhdqCjO — Jack “CouRage” Dunlop (@CouRageJD) December 8, 2019 CouRage says the driver “must’ve been going 30 miles an hour, ” but thankfully, “it seems everyone is alright.” His car has certainly seen better days, as a massive inward dent sits in the direct center of the trunk hatch, and the left side of the bumper of his Lincoln MKZ is practically hanging off. Jack has had this car for less than two years, and had gone without accidents until the two this past week. His 100 Thieves comrades in Moe ‘Yassuo’ and Avalanche expressed relief on Twiter that CouRage himself is alright, among many others. He reassured his followers in a follow-up tweet that everyone is indeed okay, and that his current plan is to relax with some double vodka sodas. Thank you everyone for the well wishes. Just happy Maddie and I are okay. We’ve got everything sorted. Having a car service drive us back to LA but first I’m getting two double vodka sodas. Love you all. — Jack “CouRage” Dunlop (@CouRageJD) December 8, 2019 Luckily, no one was hurt in either of the two accidents, but CouRage has said in the past that he’s come too close to a more serious accident before. Over the summer, he tweeted about driving on the highway when a couple of young kids were “swerving in and out of traffic” at 110 MPH; a scary experience for CouRage which thankfully didn’t result in any accidents. Was just driving home on the highway and two high school/college age kids were driving 110 MPH swerving in and out of traffic… I can’t stress enough: NOBODY THINKS YOU’RE COOL IF YOU DRIVE FAST.These guys are absolute idiots and put so many lives in danger. Was so scary. — Jack “CouRage” Dunlop (@CouRageJD) June 10, 2019 As bad as the back of his car looks, CouRage has somehow had less bad luck with cars than his friend and 100 Thieves founder Matthew ‘Nadeshot’ Haag. The CoD veteran turned brand founder had his car booted back in October of this year, before new 100T streamer BrookeAB “blew it up” to cap off their prank war. Hopefully, the 100 Thieves organization can use some of the money from their sold-out cream hoodie re-release to go toward some new cars. Whether you live in LA or a quiet, rural town, drive carefully this winter. You don’t want the financial responsibility of rear-ending someone to ruin your Christmas shopping.
