Ninja takes cheeky shot at Tfue’s ‘zero ping’ Fortnite streams Twitch: Tfue / NinjaTyler ‘Fortnite on June 13, playing with zero ping to the game’s servers. Ping is a very important aspect of online gaming, as it measures the latency between the player and the server. The higher your ping, the more lag you will experience when trying to build walls on games like Fortnite, so playing on a low ping connection can give you an advantage over other players. Tfue has been streaming out of New York City, playing close to the NA East Coast servers and enjoying zero ping, a fact he has been sure to reference in his stream titles – and something that Ninja has clearly noticed based on his funny dig aimed at the pro player. 600While streaming with long-time duos partner Malachi ‘Reverse2k’ Grenier, the former Halo pro was asked by his teammate what his ping was currently at, as Ninja is currently in Los Angeles for the Fortnite Celebrity Pro-Am. “Dude, what’s your ping?” asked Reverse2k. “Nine,” responded the 28-year-old as he watched it drop. “Three. Zero.” “Let me put it in my title every time I go live! I forgot to tweet that I’m on zero ping, my bad.” Reverse2k could only laugh, before telling Ninja: “You’re so toxic!” This isn’t the first time Ninja has appeared to take a shot at Tfue. Back in April, the streamer joked that he was going to include Tenney in the title of his YouTube video after he eliminated him from a match. The pair even went head-to-head in a crucial World Cup qualifying match, with Ninja once again getting the better of the Fortnite star. Ninja even made a joke at Tfue’s expense regarding his on-going lawsuit against FaZe Clan, saying that people should call him ‘TSue’. With the pair largely recognized as the biggest content creators that Fortnite has to offer, it seems the two aren’t content to let the other overpass, and it’s likely that their rivalry will continue on.

Very few things are more heartwarming than when a celebrity takes some time out of their day to do something special or heartfelt for a fan. Such was the case on August 12, when Ninja sent a personal video to a Zach wishing him a happy birthday, and sending the nine-year-old boy into a whirlwind of emotion. Zach turned out to be the nephew of ‘SethDrumsTV,’ a streamer on Twitch who put out a tweet asking Ninja to send birthday wishes, which ended up gaining a lot of attention on Twitter. Ninja Surpasses a Major Milestone on YouTube – Dexerto
Ninja Surpasses a Major Milestone on YouTube The Fortnite stream king, Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins, has surpassed another major milestone in his career after smashing ten million subscribers on YouTube. Despite at first appearing like an overnight success story, the journey Ninja has taken has been far from easy, having started all the way back in 2011. The former professional Halo player has been streaming so long that he started out on Justin.tv, the old name for Twitch before it turned into a primarily gaming based service. Despite being popular in the pro Halo scene, there was only a certain amount of viewers who could possibly tune in to watch, and in 2016 he began streaming other titles, including H1Z1. It was in 2017 that he quit playing professional Halo and began to concentrate full time on playing PC games for his ever growing audience. After switching from H1Z1 to PUBG, he began to hear about a new battle royale title, Fortnite. A number of the high profile streamers at the time had played it but passed up on it, but Ninja saw something special about the game and started playing it full time. That was in late 2017, and fast forward to May 2018 and Ninja finds himself as the most followed channel on Twitch, just under 2 million followers on Twitter, 3.6 million on Instagram and now 10 million subs on YouTube. He made the right decision. His ability to utilise platforms such as YouTube, Instagram and Twitter have turned him into a celebrity across the world. He Tweeted out on the morning of May 4th that he had woken up to the milestone, commenting that he doesn’t think anyone else has reached it that fast. The sky appears to be the limit for Ninja. Woke up to 10,080,000 subscribers on YouTube. Thank you guys so much. I am not sure if a diamond play button has ever been reached so fast but regardless of the fact I am blessed. pic.twitter.com/XctLSAcATz — Ninja (@Ninja) May 4, 2018

Ninja stunned by loyal Twitch fan who’s been subscribed for over 10 years – Dexerto
Ninja stunned by loyal Twitch fan who’s been subscribed for over 10 years Ninja Twitch / YouTubeNinja has been streaming for a long time and even he was taken aback after seeing a loyal Twitch viewer who’s been subscribed to him for over a decade. Throughout his rise, Ninja has had a true ride-or-die fan stick with him on Twitch. As subs come and go, there’s been one super supporter that’s been with the blue-haired content creator for over 120 months. The brand loyalty wasn’t lost on the most recognized streamer in the world, who didn’t let the moment pass without a special shoutout. “Sometimes I forget even how long I have been doing this,” Ninja said. “125-month subscriber still showing love and has been subscribed since I got into the subscription beta on justin.tv. Shoutout to icysofresh.” Ninja’s longest Twitch sub Sometimes I forget even how long I have been doing this. 125 month subscriber still showing love and has been subscribed since I got into the subscription beta on https://t.co/1thN91iqDY Shoutout to icysofresh — Ninja (@Ninja) January 22, 2022 From the inception of Twitch’s subscription program to the modern era of streaming, ‘icysofresh’ has maintained their sub to Ninja since 2011. Many can see this realistically being the longest sub on the platform. Even when the streamer became the face of the now-defunct Mixer streaming community, Twitch never took down his account, giving loyalists a way to technically keep their sub alive. “They never closed his account on Twitch so his subs stayed active if you had auto-renew on,” Icy explained. When Ninja was headlining the front page on Mixer, his longtime Twitch sub was well alive throughout it all. They never closed his account on Twitch so his subs stayed active if you had auto renew on — ICY (@iam_ICY) January 22, 2022 From his roots streaming on Justin.tv, before it became Twitch, to his stints off the platform throughout the years, Ninja’s been a trailblazer in the streaming community. He’s grown his audience to nearly 17.4 million followers with over 10,000 subs, according to TwitchTracker. In that time, he has left a mark with some people in the gaming community who have stuck with the streamer for years on end.

Ninja stunned after getting wrecked by ‘invisible’ Fortnite duos player – Dexerto
Ninja stunned after getting wrecked by ‘invisible’ Fortnite duos player Graphics from Ninja, YouTube / Epic GamesFortnite Battle Royale, but there’s no doubt that he – or anyone else – wouldn’t stand a chance if he couldn’t see his opponents. In fact, this shocking play might prove that. The popular Twitch streamer must have thought that the previously vaulted Shadow Stone had made a controversial return for a split second during his April 21 stream, as he was knocked down by a player that he couldn’t see whatsoever. As Ninja jumped into a game of duos in Arena mode, he and his teammate Reverse2k had absolutely no idea what hit him, as an “invisible” player knocked him down. What happened to Ninja? After trying to build and edit his way into a perfect spot to take out an approaching enemy, who was using a rocket launcher to move closer and closer to Ninja, he was eventually floored out of nowhere by a rifle in close quarters. “They’re invisible, like… what?” the streamer said, as he watched the player place a trap nearby to eliminate him from the game. “I literally have no idea what’s happening,” he added. It wasn’t just the streaming duo that were bemused by what had happened, though, as many members of the chat also questioned the legitimacy of the elimination. Whether or not it was a hacker, though, is unknown. Ninja vs ‘cheaters’ This isn’t the first Fortnite Battle Royale player that’s taken out Ninja and then been accused of cheating, though, as Turner ‘Tfue’ Tenney knows all too well. The FaZe Clan pro player was called a “hacker” by Ninja back in January, but he didn’t have the faintest idea who he was up against. Whether or not it was a cheater on this occasion is unknown, but the footage is certainly quite strange. His opponent appeared out of nowhere.

Ninja speechless after bug ruins first Fortnite World Cup qualifying match – Dexerto
Ninja speechless after bug ruins first Fortnite World Cup qualifying match Epic Games / Red Bull GamingFortnite World Cup qualifiers as he was suspiciously eliminated the first time he touched the floor after dropping. The popular Twitch streamer was just starting his quest for qualification in the competition’s Week 5 Solo Open, where he was definitely looking for a Victory Royale to get things going in the right direction straight off the bat. However, he was left completely dumbfounded after being instantly eliminated by what appeared to be a devastating bug in the game. Judging by the animation, it looked as if the game processed that he had landed on top of a nearby tree, but he hadn’t. Ninja decided to drop near Lazy Lagoon at the start of the match, but he wasn’t even able to reach the ground safely before his glider completely disappeared. As he was still pretty high in the air, at the time, he fell to his death before even having the chance to loot up – taking a terrible 99th placed finish in his first game. “What the…” Ninja muttered, before looking right into the camera with a confused expression on his face. For those who aren’t aware, qualification in these Fortnite World Cup Online Opens depend on players’ performances across ten matches, meaning that the loss could have a significant impact on his chances of qualifying this time around. As he waited for his next match to start, the streamer couldn’t help but laugh on a few occasions. Ninja didn’t consider that it was going to be a bugged drop, but instead, thought he had found a sweet spot to drop quicker. “Bro, I have been playing and landing here for the last two months and that has never happened. I’ve never been that low to the ground before [with a glider],” he said. Whether or not he will be able to turn it around and qualify during Week 5 remains to be seen. Epic Games have yet to comment on the bug. If they do in the future, we’ll be the first to let you know.

Ninja admits he often struggles with the “huge pressure” of Twitch streaming – Dexerto
Ninja admits he often struggles with the “huge pressure” of Twitch streaming Twitch: NinjaTyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins has opened up on the struggles of streaming on Twitch, and the “huge pressure” that comes with modern internet fame — namely, the feeling that everything is just one mistake away from disappearing. Fortnite’s first superstar, Ninja, is one of the most famous streamers in the world, even after a 12-month stint on Mixer knocked him out of Twitch’s upper echelons. In the past half-decade Blevins has risen from retired Halo pro to an undisputed titan in the streaming world, commanding nearly 17 million followers on Twitch alone, and often broadcasts to 20k loyal fans at a time. He’s even taken his success mainstream, hosting events, appearing in movies, and more. Ninja’s rise hasn’t been all sunshine and roses, however. Speaking to The Cosmic Wonder, the Twitch star opened up on one side of his Twitch streaming career he’s struggled with: the “immense pressure.” Ninja revealed he’s always struggled to handle the pressure of his Twitch stardom, from his fledgling 2016 streams, to his popularity spike at the height of Fortnite’s worldwide fame, and even to now. “There’s so much pressure,” he declared. “It always feels like, ‘don’t mess up’. There’s always that hovering over your head. It’s so taxing. Even when you grow, and you know you have a loyal audience, you’re actually at a stage where you have to keep them happy. “There’s always something that adds even more of that work. “You’re supposed to work less,” the Twitch star continued, “but somehow there always just ends up being more! It’s like, even if you’re not streaming as much you’re doing more work in the backend, more calls, more press. You have to, so things don’t go wrong.” Ninja did add there’s one way to alleviate the stress: “That pressure isn’t always there… if you make sure you’re a good person, you won’t have a problem.” Those pressures haven’t deterred Ninja from pushing on with his glittering Twitch career, however, and the once-top Fortnite star says, despite all the struggles, he wouldn’t have it any other way. He said: “I understand the privilege that I have.” Few can boast the streaming glories Ninja has already raked in since exploding in popularity alongside Fortnite either. He still sits as Twitch’s most-followed streamer, and has slowly built his internet fame into mainstream culture since his late 2016 streaming debut too. Even with all the pressures Twitch brings, Tyler Blevins wouldn’t trade it in for the world. “I understand the situation I am in,” he said. “I’m grateful for everything that has happened, everything I have in my life right now. I am blessed.”

Ninja slaps back at Twitter hackers with hilarious imitation video – Dexerto
Ninja slaps back at Twitter hackers with hilarious imitation video Twitter: @Ninja / Twitter / PixabayFollowing hackers forcing their way into Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins’ Twitter account and posting crude messages, the Fortnite star has made a hilarious video that puts them right back into their place. On February 22, Ninja’s social media account was compromised, with the hackers starting off lightly by promoting other users before quickly turning crass, asking Turner ‘Tfue’ Tenney for a fight and insulting Daniel ‘KEEMSTAR’ Keem’s appearance. Thankfully the Fortnite pro managed to get his Twitter back into safe hands, and celebrated this by posting a video that made a mockery of the trolls. Ninja hits back at Twitter hackers In the 27-second video captioned “Hackers on twitter be like… Seriously same script every time. We back,” the 28-year-old ripped into the offenders by mocking the way they’d tried to promote accounts using his page. “Yo, dude, yo, gang gang, bro! Yo, I’ll follow five people who follow “@irrelevantperson” here on Twitter!” he began. “Yo, dude! Insert irrelevant tweet here! Insert racist tweet here!” He then went on to make fun of the way the troll had their account suspended because they’d promoted it using his account. “Five people who follow my homie gang gang on the one ones, yo, let’s go get it, dude! Oh s**t, I’m suspended!” Hackers on twitter be like… Seriously same script every time. We back pic.twitter.com/i9TUT1IRBW — Ninja (@Ninja) February 22, 2020 The Fortnite star also revealed why the hackers had been able to infiltrate his Twitter in a reply to Benjy ‘Benjyfishy’ Fish who had tweeted “damn if Ninja can get hacked then nobody is safe lol” upon finding out about what had happened. It turns out the streamer had turned off Two-Factor Authentication because he’d lost his old phone and had to disable it to log back in, forgetting to re-enable it. “Nah I choked and needed two factor removed because I didn’t have access to my old phone to login and never set it back up. Don’t sleep in two step,” he replied. Nah I choked and needed two factor removed because I didn’t have access to my old phone to login and never set it back up. Don’t sleep in two step :/ — Ninja (@Ninja) February 22, 2020 Luckily for the streamer, the hackers had only gained access to his page for a short amount of time, meaning no lasting damage could be done. If anything, the whole ordeal just goes to show how important setting up extra measures to protect your account is, especially if you’re a celebrity with a lot of eyes on you.

Ninja speaks out on hate he receives from Apex Legends and Fortnite tournament wins – Dexerto
Ninja speaks out on hate he receives from Apex Legends and Fortnite tournament wins Tyler ‘Ninja‘ Blevins has revealed the levels of online hate he receives after winning competitive tournaments on Fortnite and Apex Legends, claiming even some of his own subscribers don’t want to see him succeed anymore. The popular Twitch streamer, who once had 269,000 subs on the platform, has been talking about the levels of criticism that he now faces online – even when he’s winning things. During a recent livestream, Ninja explained that while he understands that hate is part of “gaming culture,” he thinks the amount of people that are against him is now higher than those supporting him. “I’m in this weird spot man,” he explained. “I get flamed for winning tournaments, for doing well in anything. No one wants to see it. There are more people who want to see me fail than want to see me succeed. Everyone is rooting for everyone else.” Read More: Fortnite Secret Skirmish: Ghost Gaming’s Bizzle wins the $400,000 Solos tournament – recap, highlights, final placements – Ninja was part of the two-time winning King’s Canyon team on Apex Legends just recently, after winning both the first Twitch Rivals event and then also Dr. Disrespect’s Code Red tournament – with help from NRG pro players dizzy and KingRichard. (Ninja’s conversation last for the first 2 minutes and 18 seconds of the video below) The hate Blevins has received, though, isn’t only from fans of other streamers involved in the tournament, but some is also coming from his own supposed fanbase and that seems to shock him the most. “These losers that are also subscribed to my channel,” he added. “I’d like for my own subs to be positive and support me.” Despite the hate, Ninja is still one of the biggest Twitch streamers around, boasting over 13 million followers on the platform at the time of writing.

Ninja and Keemstar disagree over controversial TwitchCon drinks situation – Dexerto
Ninja and Keemstar disagree over controversial TwitchCon drinks situation L: Twitch/R: Ninja (Twitter)Streaming sensation Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins has locked horns with Daniel ‘Keemstar‘ Keem over the controversy surrounding the safety of drinks at TwitchCon parties. TwitchCon 2019 is in full swing at San Diego Convention Center, with popular personalities and their faithful following of fans all in attendance. The annual convention provides Twitch streamers and their supporters an opportunity to interact on a more personal, face-to-face basis, while celebrating Twitch’s diverse video-game/livestreaming culture. Alongside inviting big names from outside of the industry, TwitchCon expands its horizons each year by throwing partner-exclusive parties, in a bid to make each convention bigger and better than last year’s iteration. Following Ninja’s surprise switch from Twitch to Mixer, this year will be the 28-year-old’s first absence from TwitchCon in years. But the popular streamer still has his finger on the pulse of the convention, and shared his concerns on the controversy surrounding these partner parties. Blevins responded to a tweet from Keemstar, where the drama aficionado had suggested that a Twitch streamer had overreacted to a “safety concern” regarding alcohol distribution during parties at TwitchCon. Keem you cannot be serious… It is a convention with multiple open drinks laying there. Unsafe, unsanitary bro. — Ninja (@Ninja) September 28, 2019 Blevins disagreed with Keemstar’s stance, arguing, “Keem you cannot be serious… It is a convention with multiple open drinks laying there”; before going on to state that the situation is “unsafe” and “unsanitary”. Keem replied to Ninja’s tweet by questioning “What Twitch partners are drugging people? (Let me know) so I can report them.” It’s a partner party right? What twitch partners are drugging people ?? Lmk so I can report them. But I’m not calling Twitch out for things that may happen. — KEEM  (@KEEMSTAR) September 28, 2019 Accessibility to beer at conventions such as TwitchCon is sold as part of the guest pass, and as such, those in heading up the event are required to provide access to alcohol at all times, in the safest manner possible. Of course, there is a fine balance between keeping beer on-hand and supervising the practices in-place. The controversy was first brought to widespread attention after streamer AnneMunition called out the drink serving situation on Twitter. At the time of writing, no official response has been given from Twitch amid the safety concerns of alcohol distribution.

Ninja slams Jake Paul’s “disgusting” content amid ‘looting’ scandal – Dexerto
Ninja slams Jake Paul’s “disgusting” content amid ‘looting’ scandal IG: JakePaul/Mixer: NinjaMixer streamer and Fortnite veteran Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins has criticized American YouTuber Jake Paul, after he was charged for criminal trespassing and unlawful assembly. Jake Paul originally came under fire after videos surfaced showing him present at disturbances in Scottsdale, Arizona. He then responded to the accusations, stating that while he was present, he was not participating in any illegal activities. However, it has since become public that he was charged with trespassing and unlawful assembly. Despite Paul’s statement defending himself, the YouTuber’s older brother, Logan, was also among those who criticized his presence. Now Ninja has joined the criticism, making some strong comments while live on June 4. “He made this statement,” Ninja said, “like, ‘I was just trying to show support, shed light, bring awareness’… Logan Paul actually had a really good take on the whole situation, he had his podcast and the clip went viral.” “And Jake had his opportunity,” Ninja continued. “All he had to do was just peacefully protest, record it, spread awareness, be positive. Not act like a f**king jack*ss. But instead, he pulls a classic Jake Paul, and records the looting and the rioting.” Blevins then turned his attention to other behavior Paul has exhibited, and the content he continues to make. He stated that, while he doesn’t want to see Paul in prison, it’s clear the YouTuber “doesn’t give a sh*t about his record”. “I don’t want to be too harsh,” Ninja finished. “But let’s be real – the stuff and the content that Jake Paul [makes]… it’s just disgusting. The fake relationships, the making out, the half-naked [people].” Many people have echoed Ninja’s comments, that Paul is trying to use a nationwide movement to make personal content. While Blevins suggests there was an opportunity for Paul to make “positive” content, any attempts to do so have been overshadowed by his presence and subsequent charges.

Ninja slams “tone deaf” Twitch over new multi-streaming rules – Dexerto
Ninja slams “tone deaf” Twitch over new multi-streaming rules Twitch: NinjaInternet star Ninja has slammed Twitch’s TOS update banning non-affiliates from multi-streaming on “Twitch-like” platforms, calling them tone-deaf in the process. Back in September 2022, Internet star Ninja revealed that instead of renewing his partnership with Twitch, he was going to stream everywhere. He’s been doing so nearly every day since, although a recent change to Twitch’s TOS banning multi-streaming has forced the creator to leave the purple app off his list of sites. During his stream on June 7, Ninja slammed the platform’s new rules, calling them tone-deaf in the process. Ninja slams “tone deaf” Twitch policy A viewer in Ninja’s chat asked about the recent TOS update to Twitch while streaming, prompting a response from the internet star. “I can, I can talk about it. I can talk about literally anything I want forever. I don’t have a single contract signed with a streaming platform. I can talk infinite shit to Twitch if I wanted to. I’m not streaming there right now,” he said. “Because, to answer your question I’m not allowed to. I’m not allowed to multicast anymore to YouTube and Facebook while I’m streaming on Twitch at the same time even though I’m not a partner.” “I’m not a partner, I’m not an affiliate, but the rules apply to me as well. Which is so tone deaf its crazy, man,” he added. While the rules state that streamers cannot multi-stream between “Twitch-like” platforms, Ninja and others can still stream on Twitch and mobile apps like Instagram and TikTok Live. It’s unknown when or if Ninja will ever re-appear on his iconic Twitch channel now that the new rules are in place, so we’ll just have to wait to see. In the meantime, head over to our entertainment section for more news and other viral stories.

Ninja slams Call of Duty: “they don’t change anything” – Dexerto
Ninja slams Call of Duty: “they don’t change anything” Twitch/NinjaTyler “Ninja” Blevins has once again made it clear Fortnite will always be his main squeeze. The streamer recently posted a video expressing confusion as to why people keep playing “terrible” Call of Duty over Epic’s battle royale offering. Ninja and Fortnite are practically synonymous. The streamer made some of his most popular content in the game, and he’s remained a loyal fan in the years since. In a recent social media post, the streamer offered some of his opinions about the popularity of Activision’s battle royale title, Call of Duty. “This is why I hate CoD,” the streamer begins to explain. Launching into a laundry list of his perceived problems with the game. Many of which correspond to gripes held by its own players. “They don’t change anything,” The streamer continued. “Every single year, it’s the same game.” He then goes on to complain Call of Duty maps and gunplay don’t change either. “The guns are broken. The guns don’t get fixed for months.” He said, even going so far as to call CoD’s updates “terrible”. “Stream snipings worse than ever, people still play. Hacker in almost every other game, people still play.” Ninja complained as he ran his character through an empty map of Fortnite. “And now I’m f–king here… and no one’s on.” However, people in the thread seemed divided about the streamer’s opinions. While some echoed his sentiment, others clearly felt CoD was the superior title. “It’s like the EA sports franchises. Basically, the same thing released every year with a few minor updates.” One user agreed. Other users however told Ninja he just needed to “Get better at the game.”

Ninja slams influencers complaining about Epic Games: “No one is forcing you to play” – Dexerto
Ninja slams influencers complaining about Epic Games: “No one is forcing you to play” Twitch: NinjaTwitch streamer Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins has criticized how other Fortnite Battle Royale influencers are behaving, as they continue to protest the direction Epic Games is taking. Why are people criticizing Epic Games? Many prominent members of the Fortnite community, including entertainers and professional players, have recently censured Epic Games for the way they are handling their game. Many of these complaints can be traced back to March’s v8.20 update, and Epic’s reluctance to add a FOV slider to Fortnite Battle Royale. These complaints were magnified on April 26, when Epic announced their latest ‘Competitive Update’, which received overwhelmingly negative feedback from many notable community members. However, Ninja has since hit out at many of these influencers, suggesting that the way in which they are criticizing Epic is hollow. 600Ninja criticizes complaining streamers and YouTubers On April 26, while streaming Arena mode in preparation for the Fortnite World Cup, Ninja was discussing the recent backlash over Epic Games’ ‘Competitive Update’. He appeared to suggest that influencers who are overtly critical of Fortnite’s recent decisions should stop playing the game, as that would make more of a statement to Epic, rather than continuing to play the game but saying negative things about it. “No one’s forcing anyone to play this game,” explained Ninja. “No one’s forcing anyone to stream this game. Guess what? Everyone makes their living off it. They’re gonna continue to stream, upload YouTube videos, tweet out clips, compete in tournaments. If you really feel so strongly about it, stop playing.” Ninja went on to suggest that the way these influencers are affecting their audiences is also negative: “Instead what happens is everyone uses their audiences that they have, on Twitter and social media and Twitch, and they’re doing what they’re doing right now; complaining so much and bringing all of their audience to think the exact same thing.” In spite of the negativity that has surrounded their game for a while, the latest updates from Epic suggest they have no intention of changing the direction in which they are taking. Whatever happens next, it is clear Ninja thinks more of a statement would be made if people were to simply boycott the game for a while, rather than spread negativity throughout their audiences.

One of the biggest names in the industry, he currently boasts over 24 million subscribers on YouTube and holds the record for the most-followed Twitch account. “Super excited for this next chapter in my career,” he tweeted on October 12. “Officially signed with CAA.” It’s too early to tell what kind of opportunities they might help bring Ninja’s way, though taking Dr Disrespect as an example, it’s clear the agency will be able to create some exciting moments. From a mysterious storyline with WWE’s Undertaker, to a more recent Madden session with Snoop Dogg, CAA appears to have been helping the Doc in big ways. Logan Paul, Amanda Cerny, and SungWon ‘ProZD’ Cho are just some of the more general internat personalities represented by the agency. Perhaps more and more collaborations with big-name creators could be on the way for Ninja. From playing Halo competitively just a few years back, to now being represented by one of the most coveted agencies in the United States. Many of his peers in the gaming space reached out to congratulate him on the continued growth. Now exclusively streaming on Twitch once again, there are no signs of slowing down for the 29-year-old.

Ninja signs with G FUEL and he’s teasing a new flavor already – Dexerto
Ninja signs with G FUEL and he’s teasing a new flavor already Twitter: @gfuelenergyPopular Twitch star ‘Ninja’ has revealed that he’s signed with G FUEL Energy, taking over the company’s Twitter account to break the news, and it looks like a new flavor might be in the pipeline. Three years after signing an exclusive contract with Red Bull, Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins has moved on to another major partner. After ‘hacking’ the company’s Twitter account, Ninja stands alongside xQc, PewDiePie, Summit1g, and FaZe Rug as one of the largest creators associated with the drinks brand. As well as the new contract, the streamer has teased that he may have his own flavor coming — which could potentially be available in Ready-To-Drink cans, tubs, or even their recently launched hydration bottles. Until then, they have released a collaborative page on their website that showcases the Twitch star’s favorite flavor: Hype Sauce. The companies Founder and CEO Cliff Morgan said that Ninja is an exemplary representation of what it means to be a gaming personality and entertainer and that he believes the stuff they have coming together in the near future will excite fans of the company. Until that time comes, however, fans will be able to support the Twitch star by using code ‘NINJA’ when checking out from their website.

Ninja shuts down Corinna Kopf after “trolling” Dakotaz on Twitter – Dexerto
Ninja shuts down Corinna Kopf after “trolling” Dakotaz on Twitter Mixer star Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins shut down YouTuber Corinna Kopf as the dispute between the world’s most famous gamer and Brett ‘Dakotaz‘ Hoffman is taking off well into the holiday festivities. After a series of back-and-forths between Dakotaz and Ninja sparked a flurry of retorts around the state of Epic Games’ battle royale Fortnite, more and more influencers have been chiming in with every new entry in the ongoing feud. A day before Christmas, it seems like audiences are going to have a helpful serving of drama especially after Tyler ‘Tfue’ Tenney’s girlfriend Kopf hit out at Ninja for a “troll” that she thinks isn’t in tune to his December 20 address. what happened to keeping it positive in your whole speech? i guess petty doesn’t fall into that category huh? https://t.co/e1uT8HyL9W — pouty girl (@CorinnaKopf) December 24, 2019 Kopf hit back at Ninja, saying that his screenshot showing he was blocked from viewing Dakotaz tweet with a caption of “Merry Christmas” was “petty” for the Fortnite streamer to post. “What happened to keeping it positive in your whole speech?” she said. “I guess petty doesn’t fall into that category, huh?” In his video, Ninja stressed the importance of influencers giving positive constructive criticism when giving their opinions on an aspect of a game they don’t like. Please watch — Ninja (@Ninja) December 21, 2019 Many see the video as directly inspired by Dakotaz’s December 19 message calling the battle royale “hot garbage”; in the 2-minute clip Ninja took a stand against the online vitriol that routinely crops up around trending titles. This is where Kopf and Ninja disagree, as the Mixer streamer cast aside Kopf’s criticism since his message was “not really pertaining to trolling people who I thought were friends on Twitter.” Shortly after, the Instagram influencer played down Ninja’s claim that she was trying to insult him, instead noting that he should “spread [positivity] in all aspects” to keep with his message. no one’s trying to insult you, i’m just saying if you’re going to spread positivity you should spread it in all aspects! 🥰 https://t.co/vatMl5NgaV — pouty girl (@CorinnaKopf) December 24, 2019 In light of that, Ninja said he felt “a little hurt and taken back” by Dakotaz “handling” of the situation, so he didn’t see his tweet as negative. Kopf maintained her position. “We know you were being petty and that’s okay, just some constructive criticism for you!” she said. we know you were being petty and that’s okay, just some constructive criticism for you! — pouty girl (@CorinnaKopf) December 24, 2019 With some of the most vocal influencers in the Fortnite streaming space chiming in with every reply, it doesn’t seem like it’ll be long before others claim their place in the growing dispute.

Ninja Shuts Down Stranger Who Ambushes Him on Camera Saying Tfue is Better – “Go find Tfue then” – Dexerto
Ninja Shuts Down Stranger Who Ambushes Him on Camera Saying Tfue is Better – “Go find Tfue then” Ninja was out at the Lollapalooza festival in Chicago over the weekend of August 2-4, meeting up with same of fans in person and playing Fortnite on the biggest stage. However, not everyone he met was a ‘fan’, such as one festival-goer who stuck a camera in his face just to tell him “I think Tfue is better” – but Ninja handled it well, like a true internet celebrity. Ninja rocketed to internet fame over the course of the past year, thanks to his dominance at the top of Fortnite streaming on Twitch, which has seen him gain tens of millions of followers and game with Drake and Travis Scott. But, as comes with the territory, he has also gained plenty of ‘haters’ too, which can be the hardest thing to deal with when becoming as popular has Ninja has so fast. He is taking it in his stride however, ignoring or laughing off offensive social media comments on Twitter and YouTube, and now even in real life too. A Twitter user posted a video of him meeting Ninja at the festival, asking him “who’s better, you or Tfue?” Ninja replies that he doesn’t answer those kind of questions, before the heckler says “I think Tfue is better.” Without hesitation, Ninja retorts “good for you, go find Tfue.” Pleasure to meet @Ninja very respectful and kind what a man #fortnite @TTfue pic.twitter.com/Zvsy24QzxT — Adam Doukkali (@adam01260851) August 3, 2018 Turner “Tfue” Tenney is the FaZe Clan Fortnite player who many consider to be one of the best in the world at the popular battle royale game, winning numerous online tournaments for big cash prizes, often with his FaZe teammate Dennis “Cloak” Lepore. Ninja and Tfue are often put up against each other in debates of who the best big name Fortnite streamers are. But as Ninja says in the above video “You never know man, it’s battle royale, it’s weird” – likely alluding the RNG and somewhat luck based gameplay.

Ninja Shows the Power of Twitch Prime After Hitting Crazy Numbers Over Eight Hours – Dexerto
Ninja Shows the Power of Twitch Prime After Hitting Crazy Numbers Over Eight Hours If you haven’t heard of Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins then you’ve probably not paid much attention to the world of streaming in 2018. The former professional Halo player turned his attentions to streaming full time on Twitch in 2017, and in early 2018 he became the biggest name on the platform, gaining rockstar status across the world after teaming up with rapper Drake on Fortnite. There have been a number of key factors to the success of Ninja, including switching to Fortnite and becoming one of the best in the world at it before the other big streamers, teaming up with celebrities to play the game and utilising social media to ensure he was visible on multiple platforms. The above combination has allowed Ninja to utilize the Twitch Prime subscription service, which allows a viewer to link their Amazon Prime account to their Twitch account, to get both free content in game, and show their support for their streamer of choice. Twitch Prime has boosted the numbers of streamers across the website, but no one has benefitted more than Ninja, who has reached the dizzy heights of well over 260,000 subs. To put that in perspective, it’s believed that Ninja receives at least $3.5 per sub, meaning during the peak of his success he was pocketing close to $1 million from subscriptions alone. One of the interesting points about Twitch Prime is that your subscription doesn’t automatically renew for the streamer you originally selected. As a result Ninja saw his numbers tumble to below 200,000 with people either choosing or forgetting to re-sub. Thankfully for the popular personality, Twitch and Fortnite teamed up to release their second set of loot for those who connected the two services together, and in just over eight hours, Ninja saw over 30,000 people sub to his stream. That’s one new sub every second for the time he was live on Thursday May 9th. Ninja took to Twitter to express his disbelief at the numbers. Wanna know the power of @TwitchPrime and @FortniteGame ? I gained 30,000 subscribers in 8 hours. We are back over 200k… out of this freaking world. ALSO 2 million twitter followers and 4 mil on instagram. This growth is seriously me boggling. — Ninja (@Ninja) May 10, 2018 You can watch Ninja live via his stream at www.Twitch.tv/Ninja, watch his VoD’s at www.YouTube.com/Ninja and view clips at www.Instagram.com/Ninja and www.Twitter.com/Ninja.

Ninja & shroud could return to Twitch as Mixer shuts down in shock move – Dexerto
Ninja & shroud could return to Twitch as Mixer shuts down in shock move Twitter: @drdisrespect/Twitch/MixerMicrosoft has announced they will be shutting down Mixer and teaming up with Facebook to allow the community to transition to Facebook Gaming, but also Twitch if they want to. In an announcement on June 22, Microsoft announced they had decided to “close the operations side of Mixer and help the community transition to a new platform.” “It became clear that the time needed to grow our own livestreaming community to scale was out of measure with the vision and experiences we want to deliver to gamers now, so we’ve decided to close the operations side of Mixer and help the community transition to a new platform,” Microsoft said in the press release. “We will work to transition the Mixer community over the next few weeks. Starting on July 22, all Mixer sites and apps will redirect users to Facebook Gaming.” Mixer creators will not be required to transfer over to Facebook Gaming if they don’t want to, which means big names like Ninja and shroud could be headed back to Twitch in the near future. According to games journalist Richard Lewis, Facebook tried to negotiate and keep both of them (who have both received their full payments) on board, but the stars chose to opt-out of the transition. Sources familiar with the deal have informed me that while Facebook did try and negotiate to keep their big partners both Shroud and Ninja opted out. They have received their full payments and as of midnight yesterday were free to engage in talks with other platforms. Game on. — Richard Lewis (@RLewisReports) June 22, 2020 Apparently confirming this, shroud removed the link to his Mixer page from his Twitter profile shortly after the news broke. Whether or not this means the FPS god is headed back to Twitch for sure remains unknown for now though. Ninja might return to Twitch, but considering the apparent falling out he and the site had after he announced he was leaving for Mixer in August 2019, that might not be the most likely option for the star. While they were allegedly aware of the news before it broke, they definitely seemed to be in the minority, as a number of streamers were actually broadcasting on the platform as the news broke and they found out. this is really sad looks like none of the Mixer streamers knew this was coming i haven’t visited Mixer in a while nor know these peeps, wish them the best in their next platform of choice pic.twitter.com/A3P67SfxN9 — Bear (@BearUNLV) June 22, 2020 Even though creators can transition to Facebook Gaming, Mixer closing down so suddenly is bound to hurt smaller streamers who have been trying to build their communities on the platform. This all comes just a day after a former Mixer and Microsoft employee accused management at the streaming site of racism and even referring to streamers as “slaves”. Stick with Dexerto for all the latest news on this developing story as it happens.

Ninja shows off a sneak peek of his new stream room – Dexerto
Ninja shows off a sneak peek of his new stream room Ninja teased his brand new streaming location with a new image on Twitter. The biggest streamer on Twitch is about to get a major upgrade to his broadcast, revealing that he will be streaming from an all-new dedicated room soon. Ninja got his fans excited by announcing that his stream on October 31 will be from the new set up. You guys do not understand how godly this stream room is… I’ll be showing it off all day tomorrow. HOLY GARBANAZO BEANS MAN — Ninja (@Ninja) October 30, 2018 He also gave a sneak peak at the room, showing off a series of monitors displaying his famous Ninja logo. On the wall behind the monitors is a significant amount of sound deadening foam, which is used to record cleaner audio and should step up Ninja’s production quality. LED lights with Ninja’s blue color can also be spotted. This is not the first time Ninja has teased a part of his new stream room, previously he showed off a different wall with wood beams. What could be on this side of the room?! #NinjaStreamRoom #TeamNinja pic.twitter.com/K8jpyOATcO — Ninja (@Ninja) October 22, 2018 It has been a busy week for Ninja as he played a large role in TwitchCon, even though some other streamers were not happy about that. Fans will have plenty to look forward to in the coming months. In addition to the new streaming room this week, Ninja announced that he will be hosting a New Years Eve stream live from Times Square in New York City.

Ninja shows off brilliant PewDiePie impression in ‘Pew News’ show – Dexerto
Ninja shows off brilliant PewDiePie impression in ‘Pew News’ show Top Twitch streamer Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins has featured in PewDiePie’s YouTube series ‘Pew News’ many times, often for all the wrong reasons, but judging by this excellent imitation, he’s still a big fan of the show. PewDiePie, real name Felix Kjellberg, runs his ‘Pew News’ shows under the guise of news broadcaster Gloria Borger – a real life journalist and chief political analyst at CNN. He uses the Borger name to present the latest happenings in the world of online entertainment in an unbiased fashion, coining the catchphrase, “I know I’m not meant to give my opinion, but…” Ninja’s most recent cameo on Pew News came following his embarrassing attempt to get “1 million people to floss in Times Square” – which failed miserably. However, Ninja has been known to be a PewDiePie fan, despite often appearing in his videos for the wrong reasons, and it turns out can do a stellar PewDiePie impersonation. During a live stream on January 19, Ninja was discussing having news show focused all on him, when he suddenly burst into his PewDiePie, or rather, Gloria Borger, impression. PewDiePie has suggested in the past that he might have guests host some of his popular shows, such as hinting that Tekashi 6ix9ine would host ‘Meme Review’, but that plan was scrapped following the rapper’s untimely arrest. Perhaps if PewDiePie sees Ninja’s incredible impression, he might invite the Fortnite streamer on to co-host an episode of Pew News with him. A collaboration between the king of YouTube and the king of Twitch would be something fans would love to see – and it might just give PewDiePie an extra push in his fight against T-Series.

Ninja stuns Lachlan with $30,000 donation to Australian fires stream – Dexerto
Ninja stuns Lachlan with $30,000 donation to Australian fires stream Twitter: LachlanYT / Twitter: NinjaAustralian Fortnite YouTuber Lachlan Power was aiming to raise $10,000 in the aftermath of the bushfire crisis in his home country, and was left floored after Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins blew his goal out of the park with a huge $30,000 donation. With bushfires burning out of control back home, Lachlan felt a need to step in and help raise some money. The Australian YouTuber is currently abroad in Japan right now, but dedicated his January 14 stream to helping raise money for charity. With a modest goal of $10,000 set, the streamer was slowly ticking off milestone after milestone. However, even his wildest expectations were surpassed when Ninja joined the party, smashing his goal three-times-over with one donation. “Ninja has just donated $30,000,” he said, starting in shock trying to comprehend the massive donation the Fortnite phenom left. “I think that’s the real one, oh my god, you’re kidding. I don’t know what to say. I know he tweeted out that he wanted to do a lot for the bushfires and jeez I feel like that’s–that’s insane Ninja.” That wasn’t meant to be Ninja’s only appearance on Lachlan’s bushfire stream though. He extended an invitation to the American to play a game or two, but he was busy with his own stream. If there is one way to decline an invite though, it’s with $30,000 to the cause. Ninja, who was live on Mixer at the time, said that the donation he wanted to do was so big, his credit cards were declining payments. It took a few attempts to get through the mega donation, but once it came through, all he could do was smile and watch Lachlan’s reaction. For mobile readers, the related segment starts at 2:06:44. — Ninja (@Ninja) January 14, 2020 Ninja joins a host of superstars who have helped raise money for communities affected by the Australian bushfires. YouTube group The Click Crew raised over $300,000 AUD during a 36-hour stream on January 6, split between various charities across the country. This included a $20,000 donation from Brett ‘Dakotaz’ Hoffman, $10,000 from Vikkstar, $3,000 from Trainwrecks and Imane ‘Pokimane’ Anys, and $1,250 from Felix ‘xQc’ Lengyel. Developer-wise, Ubisoft Australia has donated $30,000 to the bushfire appeal, while Infinity Ward announced all proceeds from the Outback cosmetic set will be given to charity. The Australian bushfire crisis has ravaged parts of the country, with over 27 million acres of land burned, 1,500 homes lost, and 28 people killed. They are still burning, with dozens of fires active in New South Wales, Victoria, Tasmania, and South Australia. If you’d like to help people affected by the disasters, you can donate through the Australian Red Cross or the Salvation Army.

Ninja shocks Valorant star with huge donation after Twitch refund scam – Dexerto
Ninja shocks Valorant star with huge donation after Twitch refund scam Red Bull / Twitter: Average_JonasChargebacks are a Twitch streamer’s worst nightmare, as Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins knows it all too well, so when he saw Valorant star ‘AverageJonas’ get scammed out of over $5,000, he knew he had to step up and help. There’s few Twitch scams more infuriating than chargeback scams. When you have avid viewers donate to your stream, it’s a wonderful feeling. However, some viewers do it maliciously, with the intent of taking, not giving. After donating hundreds, or even thousands of dollars, viewers dispute the charge with PayPal or their bank, saying they were hacked and didn’t actually donate the money. The money then goes back to the donator, and the Twitch streamer is left without the donations, and most of the time, also has to pay a fine on top. That’s exactly what happened to AverageJonas — a Valorant Twitch star with over 130,000 followers. He had a viewer refund $5,400 worth of donations, which ended up costing the streamer $5,800 after accounting for transfer fees. I have received over $5400 in several donos from one person on @Twitch which have all been refunded even though donos are supposedly non-refund. To top it off, I have been personally charged $400+ in refund fees from @PayPal. If you think this is fucking unfair, please Retweet. pic.twitter.com/4lNrG3GOHQ — AverageJonas 🇳🇴 (@Average_Jonas) October 21, 2020 “I have received over $5,400 in several donations from one person on Twitch which have all been refunded even though donations are supposedly non-refund. To top it off, I have been personally charged $400+ in refund fees from PayPal,” Jonas said on Twitter. “This person used me and my community to gain clout and other benefits by acting like an extremely wealthy and giving human being. The person also pretended like the refunds were a mistake.” Fortunately, Ninja got wind of the fellow Valorant streamer’s woes. After all, Jonas is one of Valorant’s biggest content creators, and Ninja is slowly working his way to the top of the pro scene. With all of Jonas’ informational content, it’s the least Ninja could do to put his fandom to use. Ninja replied to Jonas’ tweet with a simple “fixed.” What he meant by that was he donated AverageJonas $5,800, to cover not only the Twitch donations from the user, but the PayPal fees as well. Jonas was shocked: “Dude thank you so much you’re such a legend omfg.” DUDE THANK YOU SO MUCH YOU ARE SUCH A LEGEND OMFG ❤ pic.twitter.com/xT87g2dLim — AverageJonas 🇳🇴 (@Average_Jonas) October 22, 2020 It’s a big win for Jonas, however, it highlights a much bigger issue with Twitch donations. If Ninja hadn’t caught wind of the streamer’s troubles, it’s likely nothing would have been done. Chargebacks are still a big issue, and there’s nothing you can really do about it as a streamer if PayPal or Twitch don’t step in — like what happened in Jonas’ case. However, now he can go back to doing what he does best — sharing Sova line-ups for every Valorant player to learn.

Ninja shares genius idea for Valorant & Fortnite to help streamers – Dexerto
Ninja shares genius idea for Valorant & Fortnite to help streamers Twitter: @Ninja / Riot GamesMixer star Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins had a brilliant suggestion for games like Valorant and Fortnite, and shared it on social media. The proposed feature would change the way streamers and their fans interact. Ninja is, for many, the face of streaming. The former Halo pro’s dominate rise in Fortnite, and his groundbreaking move in 2019 to leave Twitch for Mixer, has secured him a place at the top of his medium. However, being that famous has its own setbacks, such as getting to interact with your fans. However on April 30, Ninja had a pretty genius idea that would change the way viewers spend time with their favorite channels. Related – How The Mob Went From Trolls to Thieves Ninja shares interesting feature for games He uploaded a video to Twitter, and shared his idea for a feature that would allow streamers to play with their fans easily. The Mixer personality explained that he’s played with random players before, and wished he had the ability to team up with them again without adding them to his friends list. “I just thought of a cool idea that would really benefit a lot of people,” he began. “So you can add them as like a secondary list. So a secondary friends list, the B-list, whatever you want to call it. But it could be a list where you can toggle it on and off. You wouldn’t receive spam messages or invites from them.” He then continued, “You can switch over to that friends list, and secretly invite them every once in a while. I meet a lot of really cool people, that I would love to not necessarily add to my main list and have them invite me every day.” Thought of a pretty cool idea for a different way to add people you don’t know all that well. What do you think! I think it can be applied to all gamers. pic.twitter.com/stbhfaaHHE — Ninja (@Ninja) April 30, 2020 Popular streamers unfortunately get flooded with invites all the time, so the new feature would allow personalities to add fans or random people to a second list that gives them control of when someone gets access to them. Given how big channels on Twitch and Mixer have become, it’s understandable if a famous player doesn’t want to invite new people into their close friends circle. However, Blevins’ idea would make it possible without the headaches. The Fortnite star perhaps got inspired by a recent experience he had on Riot Games’ Valorant, which he tweeted about on April 29. “Just had one of the most fun streams I’ve ever had with 3 random people I’ve never met,” he said. Just had one of the most fun streams I’ve ever had with 3 random people I’ve never met and an old friend/halo pro @BxbyJ_ Valorant is amazing. See you all tomorrow > — Ninja (@Ninja) April 30, 2020 Ninja’s interesting concept makes sense, seeing as the streamer has long interacted with his fans and the gaming community. Often his broadcasts feature him queuing up with random players – such as duos in Fortnite. Plus the Mixer personality’s idea could work for anyone – everyone has someone they wouldn’t like to play with all the time. Giving players more control over their friends list and invites can only be a good thing.

Ninja appears on The Ellen DeGeneres Show to play Fortnite – Full video – Dexerto
Ninja appears on The Ellen DeGeneres Show to play Fortnite – Full video Fortnite streamer Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins has taken his fame to Los Angeles to film an episode of the popular daytime talk show, Ellen. The most-followed streamer on Twitch announced to his 3.4 million followers on Twitter that he wouldn’t be streaming Thursday, as he was heading to California. While Ninja didn’t reveal what has him traveling across the country, his wife and manager Jessica ‘JGhosty’ Blevins posted a picture to her Instagram that let the cat out of the bag. All throughout the day, JGhosty was posting pictures of her and Ninja on a private jet headed to California for an undisclosed reason, simply stating that they were “filming something awesome.” Fans only had to wait a few hours to find out what was in store, as she followed up with one more photo that showed Ninja’s name on a dressing room backstage at The Ellen Degeneres Show. One day later and a video surfaced on Ellen’s website of Ninja playing Fortnite with the popular American chat show host. After briefly discussing his career, they sat down and played some Fortnite on an Xbox, where predictably Ellen failed to get a single kill. Boasting a whopping 11 million followers, Ninja quickly rose to Twitch dominance earlier in 2018 as Fortnite Battle Royale quickly became the biggest game on the planet. Ninja’s appearance on Ellen is just another sign of just how big the 27-year-old streamer has gotten over the last year, as he has also featured on the cover of ESPN the Magazine and numerous other televised interviews and specials.

Ninja and Reverse2k set new Fortnite duos world record – Dexerto
Ninja and Reverse2k set new Fortnite duos world record Lauren Kretzschmar / Epic GamesFortnite world record for consecutive duo wins on the battle royale alongside Team SoloMid pro Malachi ‘Reverse2k’ Greiner. Everyone loves winning, there can be no denying that, and getting a Victory Royale on Epic Games’ global sensation Fortnite is no different. Streaming superstar Ninja may have nearly had his fill, however, after he and Reverse clocked up a record 43 consecutive duo wins. The duo collected 29 victories on their first day of streaming, before settling in for the long haul, and at least 13 more games, the next day. Then, during their combined October 2 stream, the partnership clinched the record. WORLD RECORD DEFEATED FOR DUO WIN STREAK W/ @Reverse2k_ LETS GOOOOOOOOO 43 WINS IN A ROW — Ninja (@Ninja) October 2, 2019 The duo, who have been grinding together since their stint as a team during the World Cup qualifiers, made the bold move to land in Sunny Steps. The choice paid off, however, as they battled their way to a late victory as the Storm closed in around them. “Nice!” Reverse yelled as soon as the last enemy went down, before Ninja sounded off in the voice comms to celebrate the milestone. “Let’s go, baby, let’s go! Oh my god. The record, give it to me! Give it to us! Wooooow!” In the end, the duo’s path from Sunny Steps to Lazy Lagoon, Plesant Park, and finally to the deciding battle above the villain base netted them eight eliminations — five for Ninja and three for Reverse — as well as the illustrious Fortnite world record. “Do we keep going?” Ninja suggested once the celebrations began to wrap up. “It gets sweatier at night, right? Should we keep going tomorrow? We’re definitely gaming all night. “43 games without a loss, streaming combined to more than 20,000 people, like it’s not like we’re doing this off-stream. This is huge dude, no delay, we streamed the whole thing. Oh my god! Come on bro! The streak is still going, all we need to do is keep playing duos together.” The 43-game streak puts them at the top of the duo victories leaderboard, according to stats website Fortnite Tracker. The previous best run was held by Siqqza, who scored 42 straight victories. M10 Pepper, M10 Harmii, and zRotation sit behind with 40 consecutive wins. This isn’t the first time Ninja has held a world record related to the game either. Until recently, the Fortnite megastar held the title of most eliminations in a duo-vs-squads game, though he fell away from the top spot earlier this year. Now the powerhouse duo may have to turn their attention to an even heftier streak — the massive 76 straight squad victories recorded by French player J7Evooo. Ninja and Reverse may have to find a few more players to team up with before they go for that record, but if they can find the right fit, they could just ink their names in the history books for another exciting and challenging win streak.

Ninja roasts Dr Disrespect for Twitch ban following E3 bathroom stream – Dexerto
Ninja roasts Dr Disrespect for Twitch ban following E3 bathroom stream Ninja, Twitch / GFUELPopular Fortnite Battle Royale star Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins isn’t letting him live it down. Ninja Tweeted about his new collectible toy line on June 14, which he’d found during a trip to Walmart. While Blevins was understandably excited by the find, Dr Disrespect saw the opportunity to make a good-natured jab at the merchandise, sending a humorous Tweet in reply to the photos. “Where do I find these?” the Doc wrote. “Next to My Little Pony or Barbie?” Where do I find these? Next to My Little Pony or Barbie? — Dr Disrespect (@drdisrespect) June 14, 2019 Of course, Ninja isn’t one to be outdone, and quickly turned the tide on the Two-Time by referencing his recent E3 and Twitch bans in light of his bathroom broadcast scandal. “Nah, they are next to the bathrooms,” he replied. Ninja’s scathing response was met with hilarious reactions from users across the net, with the likes of popular streamer Dakotaz uploading a series of humorous gifs in response to the Twitter “beef.” “I’ll stream it,” streamer TimTheTatMan replied, further referencing the Doc’s TOS breach. The Doc continued to take shots at Ninja despite this blow, writing, “Nice haircut,” in reference to the streamer’s new half-pink, half-blue hairdo. “At least mine’s real,” Ninja shot back, citing Dr Disrespect’s “character,” who sports an obvious black wig along with his reflective sunglasses and false mustache. This hilarious interaction between the streamers follows Dr Disrespect’s ban from Twitch, which occurred during his very first IRL broadcast. However, things didn’t pan out as planned for the Two-Time: instead, he was kicked out of E3, after breaking California law by filming in a public restroom (which, luckily, didn’t show any nudity – or minors, for that matter). While the Doc has since teased a video discussing the incident, it has yet to be uploaded as of June 14 – although he did mention that his manager had been “fired” in his Tweet announcing the upcoming upload. Both Ninja and Dr Disrespect are some of Twitch’s top talent, with Ninja boasting over 14 million followers on the platform.

Ninja roasts TSM Hamlinz after hilarious fight challenge – Dexerto
Ninja roasts TSM Hamlinz after hilarious fight challenge Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins has finally hit back at Darryle ‘Hamlinz’ Hamlin after the Team SoloMid player threatened to “spank” him with his Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu skills. Hamlinz and Ninja have been a couple of the top names in the game since Fortnite first gained popularity in late 2017/early 2018, and have regularly shared some funny moments together both on-stream and off. Though Ninja reached levels of fame previously unprecedented for streamers, right now both of these two remain some of the most popular content creators playing the game, a great feat of longevity considering how many Fortnite streamers there are and how many streamers have come and gone at the top. Posting a tweet on November 14, Hamlinz said: “I start Brazilian jiu-jitsu soon, somebody tell Ninja I’m preparing to spank that booty.” As expected, his followers started to make memes about it almost instantly and join in with the jokes, but only four minutes later Ninja came back with a response absolutely roasting Hamlinz. He said: “I’ve been boxing a couple of 5th graders talking sh*t about my 90s so I’m already prepared for your height and weight class.” I’ve been boxing a couple of 5th graders talking shit about my 90s so I’m already prepared for your height and weight class https://t.co/0kyOzm1rUT — Ninja (@Ninja) November 14, 2019 Hamlinz followed this up by tweeting Keemstar, asking him to “set me up with this level 22 skeleton, I want to show him the pure strength of small man.” Without a doubt following in the footsteps of the cultural phenomenon that was KSI vs Logan Paul 2, a fight between Hamlinz and Ninja would definitely be a sight to behold, with neither of them particularly intimidating or credible as fighters given their on-screen personas. Despite that, it is something fans would be interested in seeing, so while lighthearted there’s definitely an element of this that people are keen on. It’s unlikely that the two would end up fighting at all, but Ninja’s roast may well have settled the winner of this exchange despite being called a “level 22 skeleton” by Hamlinz. It was almost impossible for the TSM star to come back with a stronger retort, so he’ll have to wait until next time to prepare his roasts – and hopefully get the better of Ninja in the second round.

Ninja roasts Alinity in wake of controversial dog stream – Dexerto
Ninja roasts Alinity in wake of controversial dog stream Twitch streamer “Alinity Divine” has come under fire once again for an animal-related controversy – this time, after her dog got a little too comfortable during a November broadcast. Although she might be best known for the backlash that erupted after she tossed her cat during an Apex Legends stream, the internet star is receiving a heap of criticism after her Samoyed pup “Luna” buried its nose in her privates while she demonstrated a yoga pose on camera. While Alinity laughingly commanded her dog to stop its antics, the net isn’t pleased with seemingly yet another breach in conduct on Twitch – and Ninja appears to share critics’ sentiments. https://twitter.com/Troydan/status/1200989686132543489?s=20 The Twitch-turned-Mixer celeb took a brutal stab at Alinity during a game of Fortnite via streamer “TimTheTatMan’s” broadcast on December 2, where he called back to her previous offenses of cat-tossing and even feeding vodka to her feline friend. “You know what they [Twitch] don’t allow?” Ninja began, referencing the divisive ban of YouTuber and streamer Corinna Kopf. “Risque tops on their birthday. Ayoo!” That wasn’t the end of his rant: he went on to imitate Alinity in a hypothetical commercial, referencing her storied history on the site. “If you’re a cat-thrower, Twitch is the place for you,” Ninja joked, singing the McDonald’s jingle. “‘I don’t always throw my cats, but when I do, I prefer to wait until after I’ve poured vodka in its mouth. Hi, I’m Alinity, and welcome to my – hahaha!’” Ninja isn’t the only streamer roasting Alinity, either: Kopf, who, as previously mentioned, was thought to be banned over wearing a tube top during her birthday stream, lashed out at Alinity on Twitter amid the chaos of her dog debacle, after it seemed that Alinity took a stab at her. “Girl, you let your dog stick it’s face in your v*gina for 10 seconds lmfao,” she wrote in a now-deleted Tweet. With Twitch coming under fire for a slew of controversial moderation decisions as of late, Alinity’s pet scandal marks the latest drama surrounding the platform, with critics across the net calling for her to be banned.

Ninja roasts Cloak for mocking Mixer streamers – Dexerto
Ninja roasts Cloak for mocking Mixer streamers Mixer: Ninja/Twitch: CloakStreaming superstar Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins dropped a pretty perfect flex for Dennis ‘Cloak’ Lepore after the Fortnite star tried to roast him with a jab at Mixer. Back in August, Ninja made waves in the gaming and streaming world when he decided to call time on his eight-year-long relationship with Twitch, heading to the Microsoft-owned platform of Mixer. Though other big-name streamers like Michael ‘Shroud’ Grzesiek and Jack ‘Courage’ Dunlop have followed in moving away from Twitch, it has been Mixer that has been the butt of some jokes. Streamers have taken jabs at their viewership figures and features on the platform, but Ninja had to fire back with a burn of his own when Cloak tried to be a comedian. The pair had been playing Call of Duty: Warzone alongside Jaryd ‘Summit1g’ Lazar, trading playful shots about stealing each other’s loot and kills. As they tried to decide where to head next, Ninja took point and called the shots but Cloak played up to their banter. “We don’t listen to Mixer streamers,” he said, leaving himself and his teammates laughing. However, his burn didn’t last all that long as Ninja fired back with a pretty good flex about his channel over on Twitch. “Hey Dennis, will you listen to the guy who hasn’t streamed in seven months and is still the most followed streamer on Twitch by like five million followers? Will you listen to that guy?” Ninja quipped, leaving Cloak without a response. Even Summit, who has been grinding on Twitch for years himself, had to tip his cap to that flex, noting that Blevins’ success on Twitch is unlikely to be surpassed by anyone anytime soon. “And, honestly, [the channel] will probably still be there for like another five years,” he added while still laughing at what Ninja had just fired back with. Though his flex was pretty good anyway, Ninja still undersold his lead – as he has close to a seven million follower lead over Tfue and Shroud who sit in second and third respectively. Unless Tfue blows up in the mainstream as Ninja did, the former Halo pro’s 14 million followers are unlikely to ever be beaten by anybody else and he knows it.

Ninja reveals why Michael Jordan banned him from All-Star Weekend party – Dexerto
Ninja reveals why Michael Jordan banned him from All-Star Weekend party Instagram: @ninja / Wikimedia CommonsDuring his May 14 stream, Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins opened up to Dr Disrespect about how he was not allowed into a party at NBA’s All-Star Weekend in February. The Mixer star explained why Michael Jordan had put him on a “Do Not Enter” list. Ninja has become one of the most recognizable brands in entertainment. Whether it’s his rise to stardom playing Fortnite, or his industry-defining move to leave Twitch for Mixer, the personality has become the face of gaming for many. However despite his notoriety, the personality revealed during his latest stream that he was once rejected by NBA legend himself Michael Jordan. The streamer explained to his friend Dr Disrespect that it happened during the All-Star Weekend. Ninja reveals incredible Michael Jordan story Ninja was in the middle of a Call of Duty: Warzone broadcast, when he revealed to his streaming partner Dr Disrespect that he had a story involving the NBA. “Want to hear a funny story about the NBA All-Star Weekend?” he asked. The Mixer personality then explained to Doc that he had actually been rejected at a party at the event. “I was put on a DO NOT ENTER list for one of the parties,” he said, before telling the Twitch streamer to guess whose party it was. “Was it a player?” Dr Disrespect asked. Ninja at first said no, before changing his answer to yes. The Twitch star then correctly guessed that it was a retired player from the NBA. The Two-Time Champion took his best guess, and asked if it was Scottie Pippen of the Chicago Bulls. Stumped he said, “Um, I don’t know. Who?” Ninja then revealed the player to be Michael Jordan. Laughing Doc said, “Jordan said NO to you, HUH!?” The Mixer star explained “It’s because it was a Nike x Jordan party.” He then jokingly added, “I mean, listen. I’m proud of myself, I only cried for like 20 minutes in my room after.” Ninja’s rejection makes sense, seeing as in December 2019 he unveiled his very own shoe with Nike rival Adidas. And if nothing else, getting rejected by Michael Jordan is an honor – as it means he sees you as a rival. The 28-year old streamer continues to crush it in 2020. At the time of writing, he’s amassed over three million followers to his channel. He’s also build up a major following across his YouTube and Twitter accounts.

Ninja roasted by Cloakzy & CouRage for the “weirdest flex of all time” – Dexerto
Ninja roasted by Cloakzy & CouRage for the “weirdest flex of all time” NinjaMixer streamer and Fortnite star Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins was roasted by his fellow streamers, after a bizarre ‘flex’ over designer dog pillows him and his wife have purchased. Since Fortnite’s release back in the summer of 2017, a number of streamers have been catapulted into fame off the back of the building battle royale’s popularity. None are more well-known than Ninja – the ex-Halo professional who became the most followed Twitch streamer on the internet, before his switch to Mixer back in August of 2019. The streamer’s net worth is put at around $10 million, but sponsorship deals and affiliations will be pushing this much higher. A recent report suggests he is earning roughly that much per annum as a result of his move to Microsoft’s Mixer. While playing alongside TimTheTatman, Cloakzy and CouRage, Blevins earned himself a roasting after bragging that his dogs have designer pillows to sit on. “We have like little Versace pillows, like dog pillows for them to sit on and watch outside,” Blevins said. While he mentioned the dogs’ pillows in passing, CouRage, Tim and Cloakzy could not believe what they were hearing and all burst into fits of laughter. “You win!” CouRage laughed. “Weirdest flex I’ve ever heard. You just won Tyler, you just won the weirdest flex competition, ever! Ever! That will never be beat.” “That will never be beat. ‘So we have little Versace dog pillows’,” CouRage finished, before dissolving into more laughter. Blevins can be heard chuckling along, before continuing his story about his dogs’ intelligent behavior. Versace is a world-famous Italian fashion house, boasting some eye-watering prices. A quick internet search suggests Versace pillows come in at between $225 and $390. Blevins is more than entitled to spend his money in any way he deems fit, but it seems important to point out the amount of incredible charity work he also does. He recently donated $30,000 to DrLupo’s St. Jude Hospital charity stream, in an incredibly benevolent gesture. Ninja’s friends seemed most pleased as he divulged the luxury his dogs enjoy and Blevins, for his part, appeared to take the jokes in the friendly manner they were intended.

Ninja reveals why he almost quit streaming for good after Mixer move – Dexerto
Ninja reveals why he almost quit streaming for good after Mixer move Metro Public Relations[jwplayer 91I9RIGm]Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins is well-known, to put it lightly, but his streaming plans are not. In an interview on July 31, the gaming superstar and his wife, Jessica, revealed that quitting entirely was a consideration at the peak of his frustration with Mixer. On Twitch, Ninja’s biggest stream ever, a Fortnite quad with Drake, Travis Scott, and the NFL’s JuJu Smith-Schuster, reached 4.4 million people and, at its peak, hit 616,693 concurrent viewers. On Mixer, his biggest stream ever reached 2.2 million viewers and hit a 85,876 concurrent viewership high point. He may have known the dip was coming, but that doesn’t change how it felt. “It was expected…and frustrating,” he said. One year ago today, @Ninja played with @Drake and everything changed 🙌 pic.twitter.com/KpOAgNwt07 — B/R Gaming (@BRGaming) March 15, 2019 Ninja moved from Twitch to Mixer in 2019 and is now a free agent as Microsoft’s streaming platform surprisingly shut down in June 2020. Although Mixer experienced a 149 percent increase in total hours watched from 2018 to 2019, impressive relative to Twitch’s 20 percent increase, that improvement still couldn’t break the streaming scene open. While the jump, bolstered by Ninja and shroud signing exclusivity deals, netted Mixer 354 million total hours watched in 2019, Twitch still reigned supreme at 9.3 billion. With such a stark contrast in audience, Jessica revealed that she reminded her husband that he could stop streaming entirely if he wanted. “We can stop this life,” she said. Although certainly frustrated, he didn’t relent. Citing belief in the platform and a desire for it to succeed, he remained dedicated to his stream and appears to have grown from the somewhat humbling experience. Speculations over his next deal are aided in part by the context of deliberations over his Mixer switch. While many believed that the contract money, which has since been revealed to be about $30 million, was the defining factor—Ninja’s camp is adamant that it was only part of the equation. In the interview, he explained that Twitch had made “a very nice offer” as well, but that Mixer was more intriguing given its capacity for higher-quality video and flexibility in non-gaming pursuits. Additionally, his wife explained that part of his decision to leave Twitch was spurred by plateaued growth on the platform and a failure to “listen to us” amidst negotiations. Now, he asserts that he is “a lot more comfortable and relaxed” because his brand survived the frustrations of a viewership downturn and, more recently, the absence of streaming at all. As for his next deal, a YouTube stream spurred some rumors, but the gaming icon has remained noncommittal. What’s clear, though, is that he wants a deal with technological streaming capacity, but balanced by the flexibility to pursue non-streaming content and partnerships, including in Hollywood.

Ninja reveals why he doesn’t care about his sub count anymore – Dexerto
Ninja reveals why he doesn’t care about his sub count anymore Ninja/TwitchUber-popular Twitch streamer Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins has opened up about his recent stint of not streaming, explaining why he thinks it’s a good thing to take a break from the spotlight and why he doesn’t care too much about his sub count anymore. Before returning for a quick nine-hour stream on January 28, it had been a week since Ninja had been live on Twitch – running only one rerun in that time. While his fans missed his daily streams, the 27-year-old had been taking a break by spending time on vacation with his wife – Jessica ‘JGhosty’ Blevins – as well as his parents. However, he did have time to return, briefly, to play some Fortnite with his pals Tim ‘TimTheTatMan’ Betar and Jack ‘Courage’ Dunlop. Upon his brief return to streaming, Ninja spoke about taking time away from Twitch, stating: “So, I’m just really so much more relaxed man. After having the year that I did, I don’t stress out too much about sub count anymore, like, at all. I know what I’m capable of when I have the time to stream as much as possible. You know, doing those twelve to fourteen-hour streams.” Read More: Full list of ‘Team Internet’ nominees for 2019 Shorty Awards,’ ft. Shane Dawson, Ninja, MrBeast, & more – “There are other things that are coming up right now. I didn’t live my life last year man, I was a slave to the stream grind and I don’t regret it whatsoever but it’s nice to be able to do just a little bit of R&R.” It’s a slight change in attitude from Ninja who admitted in his ESPN interview last September that he had worries about not streaming – especially when it came to doing something big. “When I’m not streaming, I have time to reflect on all the growth, and I don’t like that,” Ninja told ESPN’s Elaine Teng in his ESPN The Magazine interview. “I’m like, ‘I haven’t played a celebrity in a while. I haven’t done something big in a while. Is it because I’m slowing down?’” More recently, Ninja stated on stream – on January 15 – that had become annoyed by people looking for the ‘next big thing’ on Twitch, even though he, at the time, had been sitting pretty at the top. No longer being too concerned about his sub count is certainly a change for Ninja but he has achieved more than many streamers ever will – and he seems pretty happy in doing so.

Ninja reveals how many Twitch subs he had at the height of his popularity – Dexerto
Ninja reveals how many Twitch subs he had at the height of his popularity Ninja, Twitch / TwitchPopular Twitch streamer and Fortnite player Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins is one of the most successful personalities on the platform – and his subscriber record is nothing to sniff at. Ninja finally revealed his biggest subscriber count at the height of his Twitch success, as stated during his joint broadcast with French streamer Gotaga on March 7. The streamers were discussing the benefits of Twitch prime when Gotaga asked Ninja what his subscriber record was – to which Ninja had an impressive answer. [Timestamp: 1:50 for mobile viewers] “269,000,” Ninja replied, much to Gotaga’s apparent surprise. “That’s a [million] – that’s a cold mil,” he continued, in reference to the revenue he’d made from said subscribers. However, Ninja isn’t confident that he will ever reach such a number again, due to the stigma around gamers getting rich off of their success in the space. “Never again, though – I’ll never hit that again,” he said of his subscriber record. “When a gamer makes revenue or money, it’s like, ‘Oh, they make too much.’” “Because, to them, they think what we’re doing is too easy to earn that much money,” former CoD pro-turned-streamer ‘Broky Brawks’ chimed in. “All the sacrifices we’re making. We have families, we have girlfriends.” Although he was already well-known in the gaming sphere, Ninja rose to fame after his joint stream with Canadian rapper Drake in March of 2018, going on to secure a massive New Year’s Eve event in Times Square to ring in 2019. Ninja continues to reign as one of Fortnite’s biggest players, and even appeared on a commercial for the 2019 Super Bowl thanks to his popularity.

Ninja reveals “ultimate dream” cameo after Free Guy, Hotel Transylvania appearances – Dexerto
Ninja reveals “ultimate dream” cameo after Free Guy, Hotel Transylvania appearances Ninja / Sony / Ryan ReynoldsTyler “Ninja” Blevins has revealed his “ultimate dream” media appearance following his casting in recent franchises like Hotel Transylvania and Ryan Reynold’s Free Guy. Ninja has grown into a household name over the years after exploding in popularity by livestreaming on Twitch. Since then, the gaming icon has interacted with mainstream celebrities like Drake, appeared on the Ellen Degeneres Show, and even appeared on Celebrity Family Feud. Now, Blevins has revealed his ultimate dream media appearance is to star as a character on the hit animated show Rick and Morty. Ninja wants to be on Rick and Morty In a tweet posted earlier today, the streamer said simply said “The ultimate dream is to be a character on Rick and Morty.” For those who may be unfamiliar with the show, Rick and Morty was created by Justin Roiland and Dan Harmon for Cartoon Network’s Adult Swim programming block. Since it premiered back in 2014, the show has steadily grown to mainstream popularity, spawning plenty of memes across the fandom. Appearing on the show would certainly bolster his acting credits, as Ninja has already appeared in a couple of large movies as of late. Last year, he made a cameo appearance in Ryan Reynold’s movie Free Guy, along with other influencers like Pokimane and Jacksepticeye. Ninja also recently landed a role in Hotel Transylvania: Transformania, which is the fourth film in the Hotel Transylvania series. Though it seems that the production of Rick and Morty season 6 is already well underway, so it may be too late for him to make a cameo appearance right away. Still, given how much recognition he has received over the years, there’s a strong possibility the famous Fortnite streamer could very well achieve his “ultimate dream” sooner rather than later.

Ninja reveals the best thing Fortnite has done to help content creators – Dexerto
Ninja reveals the best thing Fortnite has done to help content creators Tyler ‘Fortnite’s Season 7. Since its release in September 2017, Fortnite has quickly risen to become one of the biggest games in the world, with the game’s popularity helping it grow into a worldwide phenomenon, and even into a pop-culture icon. The game has also become one of the biggest titles on Twitch, with hundreds of thousands of people regularly tuning in to watch their favorite content creators hop into the Battle Bus in the hopes of securing a Victory Royale. While the success of Fortnite on Twitch has helped streamers grow their channels immensely, Blevins also credits Epic Games for the steps they have taken inside the game to encourage players to support them, specifically the Support-A-Creator codes that allow players to donate a share of the money they spend on items like skins and harvesting tools to go directly to a creator. “I think Fortnite did everything they needed to do to save the trainwreck that was Season 7 with the planes,” Ninja told his stream on Tuesday, February 26. “One thing they did that was incredible for the creators was that Support-A-Creator code usage would get you a free skin. “I have no idea if Epic is going to keep doing that, but I’ll just say it – I’m at almost three million, and it took off the moment they released that Support-A-Creator skin,” concluded the American. The inclusion of a Twitch Prime skin in the game was also huge for creators, as players who used their Twitch Prime on a streamer received a special character as a reward for supporting their favorite streamer on the site. Ninja stated: “There was back-to-back months where Fortnite had a Twitch Prime skin. Fortnite’s power to influence people to do things for a cosmetic is unbelievable. I gained 230,000 subscribers in two months. I’ve quintupled my Support-A-Creator usage just because Epic encouraged people to support creators. How the Support-A-Creator codes will work when Fortnite’s Season 8 kicks off is currently unknown, but Ninja will be hoping that it works in a similar way as Season 7, based on his glowing praise for the system.

Ninja reveals most embarrassing moment of streaming career – Dexerto
Ninja reveals most embarrassing moment of streaming career Popular Fortnite star Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins revealed one of the most embarrassing moments throughout his entire streaming career to his viewers during a Mixer stream on October 20. Ninja has spent countless hours broadcasting live to his fan base across the past few years and has had many moments where he found himself on the receiving end of the joke. During his time streaming across platforms such as Mixer and Twitch, one moment, in particular, stood out to the popular Fortnite player, which he claims is among the most embarrassing moments of his life. After being mocked by his teammate, Reverse2k, Ninja revealed that his performance of the iconic ‘floss’ dance at his New Years event in Times Square was what caused him the most discomfort. “My New York floss? Bro, there were millions of people flossing with me you just couldn’t see them, they were in the back.” He said jokingly, before explaining the real reason why he attempted to get the crowd involved. Ninja explained that he had initially questioned the idea of asking those at the New Years’ event to dance with him after seeing how poor the weather was in Times Square although he was eventually convinced to give it a try, which did not go as he’d hoped. “To everyone that was involved in planning this I was like – “I am not going to do this if you guys can’t guarantee that everyone else is going to be doing it with me,” He expressed, reflecting on his time on the stage. “I’m up there saying I’m not seeing enough movement, I watch that sh*t and I start sweating immediately bro, it’s so embarrassing man, it’s truly one of the most embarrassing moments of my life.” Despite being uneasy about the situation, Ninja highlighted that the best thing he could’ve done after was to embrace the failed attempt and see the funny side in it, “Thank god I leaned so hard into that meme, I was the first person to talk sh*t to myself, it was so bad.” The clip of Ninja’s hilarious attempt at getting the New Yorkers to floss has since gone on to become one of Twitch’s most viewed clips of all time. Fortunately for Ninja, his failure at the New York event had little to no effect on his overall success, as the streamer went on to break records in the following months during his switch to Microsoft’s livestreaming platform, Mixer.

Ninja reveals “sad” downside to being famous and having money – Dexerto
Ninja reveals “sad” downside to being famous and having money Twitch: NinjaDuring a Q&A with fans, streaming legend Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins opened up about the downsides of fame and wealth. The Twitch star revealed how money can ruin friends and family. Over the last decade, Ninja has become one of the most famous gaming personalities in the world. The former Halo pro has reached heights of celebrity and fame that very few could dream of ever obtaining. Despite his incredible success, Blevins confessed during a fan question & answer segment on May 26 that wealth is not all that it’s cracked up to be. In fact, he explained to viewers how money can actually cause a lot of problems in one’s personal life. Ninja opens up about the downside to wealth & fame During the May Twitch Q&A, one fan asked Ninja how it felt to be famous. “Not good,” he exclaimed before explaining, “Money’s great, but even then money can’t buy happiness. Look, there are positives and negatives to everything in life. You guys don’t understand. If you have money, 90% of the time or more, you sacrifice a lot. Relationships, family, time, love, friendships.” The Twitch streamer followed up and revealed how wealth can also complicate and even ruin close relationships with friends and family. “And then you have that money, and guess what now you don’t know who to trust. You can’t trust anyone. Who are your real friends? Who is your real family?” the entertainer said. Read More: Ninja & Pokimane get Times Square Twitch ads – As if that wasn’t heartbreaking enough, Ninja also told fans how he is sometimes made to feel guilty about his success: “People come out of nowhere asking for money all the time. And if you say no, you’re a piece of s**t, you’re the worst, and they make you feel like a piece of s**t. How DARE YOU.” (Topic starts at 6:41) The 29-year-old ended his rant by clarifying to that he isn’t complaining or asking for pity. “This is very important, and I have to say this. This is not a pity, woe is me. Feel bad for me. I don’t want sympathy here. I’m just stating facts, okay? This is what happens and it sucks.” Read More: How does Ninja make money? – The Twitch legend added, “I understand the privilege that I have. Ninja reveals insane amount of money he earned in 2018 – Dexerto
Ninja reveals insane amount of money he earned in 2018 Twitch megastar Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins has estimated how much money he has earned over the course of 2018, following a year where he rose to the very top of gaming entertainment. Known primarily for his Twitch streams, Ninja also runs a YouTube channel with over 20 million subscribers – for some perspective, he had just over 400,000 at the start of 2018. His Twitch channel is closing in on 13 million followers (that’s 7 million more than 2nd most followed channel, shroud), and all of that, plus sponsorships and brand deals, means the former Halo pro is raking in an incredible amount of money. With ad revenue, Twitch subscriptions, donations, bits and sponsors, it would be very difficult to calculate the exact amount, but – for the first time – Ninja has given his best estimate of his earnings over the past 12 months. Speaking to CNN, Blevins reckons he has earned “close to $10 million”, with everything combined, a mouth-watering figure and one that could inspire the next generation of gaming entertainers. He explained that around 70% of that comes from Twitch and YouTube alone. At his peak, Ninja reportedly had over 250,000 paying Twitch subs, and even if they were all $4.99 tier 1 subs (there are also $9.99 tier 2, and $24.99 tier 3), he was earning (roughly) over $800,000 just from subscribers, even after Twitch took their cut. Let’s be real for a minute… 2018 was hands down the greatest year of my life. I have been working toward this goal my entire life, gaming since I was a kid. Take control of your destiny this year and make shit happen. Love you all — Ninja (@Ninja) January 1, 2019 This high a subscriber count was somewhat unsustainable, but even now, he is believed to have around 40,000 subscribers (subscriber counts are not provided by Twitch, and so rely on the streamer’s own claim). But, with over 20 million YouTube subscribers, plus deals with Samsung and Red Bull, Ninja’s Twitch activities are one part of his overall business. He also has his own clothing line, and in December 2018 dropped an electronic music album on streaming services, named ‘Ninjawerks’. His public profile continues to be strengthened with appearances on The Ellen Show and Jimmy Fallon, plus streaming Fortnite with Drake and Travis Scott, as Blevins takes the once niche world of gaming entertainment to the mainstream, and he is cashing-in in the process.

Ninja reveals his favorite thing about Tyler1’s streams – Dexerto
Ninja reveals his favorite thing about Tyler1’s streams Dexerto/Twitch:LolTyler1Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins has revealed his favourite thing about fellow streamer Tyler ‘Tyler1’ Steinkamp, something which he has since started doing in his own streams. The League of Legends streamer, who held the viewing record for a solo stream following his unbanning from the popular MOBA game, has been somewhat of a controversial character on Twitch. However, he does have at least one big name super fan in Ninja. The former Halo professional admitted to being a fan of Tyler1 and what his favourite thing about him is during a recent stream which he rebroadcast on December 17. Deep into a Solo game of Fortnite, Ninja calls out that he is in a winnable situation in the style of how Tyler1 does in LoL. For fans who may have missed the reference, Ninja breaks it down whilst revealing how it is his favourite thing about his fellow streamer. Explaining to his viewers, many of whom only watch Twitch for Fortnite, Ninja said “For those guys of you who don’t know, Tyler1 is a League of Legends streamer – I got that winnable from him.” “One of my favourite things he does is when he’s just super, super behind in a League game, down by like fifteen kills but somehow he’s got a good comp in the late game and he gets like an ace so it’s just like ‘I’ll say it, should I say it? Winnable.’ It’s a winnable game.” Ninja’s own game turned out to indeed be a winnable game as he clutched up, grabbed a final kill and secured yet another Victory Royale. A controversial figure on the platform, Tyler1 was previously banned for toxicity, but has since been welcomed back by League of Legends developers Riot games, and remains one of the most recognized streamers on all of Twitch.

Ninja reveals why Game of Thrones has kept him from streaming regularly Ninja, Twitter / HBOHBO’s massively popular medieval drama ‘Game of Thrones’ has taken the world by storm, once again – and Twitch streamer Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins is not exempt from the hype. In fact, Ninja’s own streaming schedule has been affected by the show, which he explained in a Twitter video uploaded on May 2. “If anyone’s been wondering why my streams have been ending early, how come I’ve been getting out a bit later, it’s because I’ve literally watched seven seasons of Game of Thrones in the last week and a half,” he said, panning the camera around to show his HBO Now account. “I’m catching up for the finale, baby!” The internet reacts to Ninja’s GoT-induced streaming hiatus Ninja’s humorous video was met with respect from his fellow streamers, with the likes of Tim ‘TimTheTatMan’ Bertar and Ben ‘DrLupo’ Lupo appearing to approve of his decision despite possible backlash from fans. “Totally understandable tbh, just quit streaming till you’re caught up,” Tim replied. “We understand.” Totally understandable tbh just quit stream till your caught up we understand — timthetatman (@timthetatman) May 2, 2019 Popular EDM artist Dillon Francis even chimed in on the conversation, appearing to entertain the idea of following suit in order to catch up to the show’s eighth season. “Now i feel like I have to do this,” he wrote of the matter. “Damn…” Ninja’s Tweet leaves room for plenty of spoilers While many fans were sympathetic and even excited for Ninja to catch up on the show, others noted that fans might try to spoil it for him – a debate that has taken the internet by storm following the release of ‘Avengers: Endgame’ in late April. Ninja reveals he constantly worries about falling off the top spot – Dexerto
Ninja reveals he constantly worries about falling off the top spot ESPNIn an in-depth interview with ESPN The Magazine, Twitch Streamer Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins has revealed he worries about losing his status as one of the most well-known video game personalities in the world. In the interview, Ninja explains his anxiety about not being number one usually comes when he’s not at home streaming. “When I’m not streaming, I have time to reflect on all the growth, and I don’t like that,” Ninja tells ESPN’s Elaine Teng. “I’m like, ‘I haven’t played a celebrity in a while. I haven’t done something big in a while. Is it because I’m slowing down?’” 600https://twitter.com/darrenrovell/status/1020836131649335296 This deep-dive into the life of Ninja will be featured as the cover story of ESPN The Magazine’s October Gaming Issue. Read More: Stream sniper makes Ninja rage quit Fortnite – For a man who streams an average of 12-hours a day, every second not spent streaming or deviating from his normal routine could lead to tens of thousands of dollars in lost income. “The more breaks [streamers] take,” he says, “the less they stream, the less they’re relevant,” Ninja reflects during the interview. Despite his fears, it doesn’t seem like Ninja’s sun is setting anytime soon. Last Friday, during the Call of Duty Black Ops 4’s Blackout private beta, Ninja reached a peak viewing audience of 271,000 viewers. Not a Twitch record, but definitely one of the most-viewed broadcasts in Blackout and on Twitch that week. He’s confident he can continue to be successful too, even if he were to move away from Fortnite, the game that brought him to where he is today. “I can 100 percent compete at the top level in every game that I play,” Ninja told Teng towards the end of the interview.

Ninja reveals foot injury has kept him from streaming on Twitch – Dexerto
Ninja reveals foot injury has kept him from streaming on Twitch YouTube: NinjaNinja’s Twitch channel has been somewhat quiet for the last few days… and the influencer has finally revealed why he hasn’t been streaming. Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins is one of the biggest streamers in the space. In fact, he’s the most followed person on Twitch. Boasting over 18 million followers on the live streaming platform, the broadcaster has made his way to late-night TV shows, has been featured in Hollywood films, and even hosted New Year’s Eve in Times Square (spawning a viral meme, in the process). After hopping from platform to platform after his viral Mixer deal back in 2019, Blevins is officially back on Twitch… but lately, he hasn’t been streaming, leading to some confusion from fans. Ninja reveals why he hasn’t been streaming Although Memorial Day weekend was certainly cause to press pause on his streaming schedule, Blevins revealed that he didn’t actually take a break from streaming to grill out on the back porch. Instead, he says that a serious foot injury is to blame for his brief hiatus. On May 31 — four days after his last Twitch broadcast — Ninja updated his fans in a tweet, saying an injury to his heel is inhibiting his ability to move around comfortably. “I’ve been trying to recover from a foot injury the last couple of days,” he explained. “Bruised my heel to the point where I can’t even walk on it, so I’ve been using crutches. I have something to film this afternoon, then I will be back streaming.” I’ve been trying to recover from a foot injury the last couple of days. Bruised my heel to the point where I can’t even walk on it so I’ve been using crutches. I have something to film this afternoon then I will be back streaming. — Ninja (@Ninja) May 31, 2022 Luckily, it looks like Blevins will be back in the saddle soon. Fans are sending their well wishes on social media as he rests up and recovers. This latest news follows Ninja’s surprise rebranding late last month, which was met with some confusion online. Since then, he’s continued to dominate the space… although it looks like his heel is throwing a wrench in his plans.

Ninja reveals what game he wants to appear in next after Raid Shadow Legends debut – Dexerto
Ninja reveals what game he wants to appear in next after Raid Shadow Legends debut YouTube: Raid: Shadow LegendsFollowing his appearance as a playable character in Raid Shadow Legends, Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins revealed what game he wants to be involved in next, and it’s one his fans would love to see happen. Ninja’s first appearance in a game happened in the form of a Fortnite skin, which is still one of the game’s most popular skins to date. He also received Fall Guys skin, but that pales compared to his appearance as a playable character in Raid Shadow Legends. But in an interview with ComicBook, Ninja revealed there’s one game he wants to be involved in the most: Pokemon Go. “I would love to [be involved in Pokemon Go],” he said. “I don’t want to be in the game, but [it would be great] if I could somehow be involved and do something with Pokemon Go. I love Niantic, and I love that game.” He’s not the only one. More than 600 million individual players have installed the game since its release. And there’s a good reason why. Not only does it connect you with family and friends, but it also connects you with others from across the globe. “I play with my brothers across the world whenever I’m traveling,” he said. “I play with my wife everywhere we go. I connect with my friends from home that I grew up with. I meet new people through the game.” Ninja also reflected on the joy of rolling around his town, hitting up Pokestops, and interacting with people doing the same thing. “They’ll roll up [their window], and they’ll be like, ‘Are you playing Pokemon Go?’ I’m like, ‘Yeah.’ Being able to connect like that is really dope.” Ninja’s love for the game is what makes him want to be involved with it in some way, but whether or not it happens is a different story. Still, the thought of a potential collaboration is an exciting prospect for him and his fans, and it’s something that Niantic might consider.

Ninja reveals who’s the better gamer between PewDiePie and Drake – Dexerto
Ninja reveals who’s the better gamer between PewDiePie and Drake PewDiePie, Meek Mill – YouTube / Ninja, TwitchPopular Fortnite Battle Royale star Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins is no stranger to fame, having broadcasted with rapper Drake, and now, YouTube king Felix ‘PewDiePie’ Kjellberg – who asked a hilarious question of Ninja during their stint in KEEMSTAR’s Friday Fortnite tournament. Both Ninja and PewDiePie teamed up for the return of KEEMSTAR’s Friday Fortnite tournament series, a massively popular competitive project that took a sudden hiatus due to scheduling conflicts with Epic’s Summer Skirmish series in 2018. However, KEEMSTAR’s tournament has since made its grand return, seeing major faces in online entertainment participating in the fray – which resulted in a hilarious interaction between PewDiePie and Ninja, in the process. 600Ninja was in the middle of gathering materials in a game when PewDiePie presented him with a humorous question, asking if he or Drake were the better gamer, between the two of them. “Whos the better gamer, me or Drake?” PewDiePie asked. “Come on, let’s hear it.” Ninja laughed in response to Kjellberg’s query, admitting that Drake was the more skilled gamer – which prompted an incredulous response from the Swede. “Don’t fucking embarrass me,” PewDiePie joked. “Fuck off. …I resurrected you!” Ninja added to the hilarity by mimicking rapper Soulja Boy’s infamous “Draaaake?” line from the ‘Breakfast Club’ podcast as PewDiePie continued his tirade. Despite his views on Kjellberg’s gaming skills, Ninja joked that Drake “couldn’t touch” PewDiePie’s T-Series diss tracks, which were ultimately banned in India amidst his vicious YouTube battle with Bollywood label T-Series in early April. Ninja and PewDiePie’s collaboration in Friday Fortnite saw hilarious reactions from personalities across Twitter, with the likes of 100 Thieves’ Jack ‘CouRage’ Dunlop joking that PewDiePie was “carrying” Ninja in their game. Unfortunately, the duo were knocked into the Losers’ bracket by Fortnite pros TSM Myth and Team Liquid’s Poach, forcing PewDiePie to bow out of the tournament due to the ensuing length of breaks between matches – setting the stage for last-minute rule change that allowed TimTheTatMan to sub for PewDiePie to keep Ninja in the runnings. BREAKING NEWS:@pewdiepie is carrying @Ninja. Emotional scenes here. — Jack “CouRage” Dunlop (@CouRageJD) June 7, 2019 Friday Fortnite has reportedly seen mass viewership across the board, with Twitch’s chat even reportedly crashing due to the number of fans tuning into the action. The series will make a return on June 14, with controversial YouTube stars Logan Paul and KSI taking their rivalry to the digital realm ahead of their boxing rematch in November 2019.

Ninja reveals why fans “flame” him for promoting his Fortnite creator code – Dexerto
Ninja reveals why fans “flame” him for promoting his Fortnite creator code Ninja, Twitch / Epic GamesIt comes as no surprise that popular Twitch streamer Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins has a Fortnite creator code – but the streamer rarely promotes it, unlike other entertainers on the platform. Ninja explained his reasons for keeping his code lowkey during a stream on April 5, claiming that he receives mass backlash when he promotes it – unlike another popular Fortnite streamer, Turner ‘Tfue’ Tenney. “I don’t promote my creator code very much because I just get flamed by everybody,” Ninja began. “…people can like, tattoo Tfue’s [creator code] on them and everyone’s like, ‘Yeah dude!’ …I do it and I get, ‘You make way too much money already, dude.’ Whatever, dude.” Ninja’s troubles on Twitter That’s not all; Ninja even claimed to get harassed on Twitter, stating that he’s making a gradual step away from written posts on the platform due to near-constant trolling. “I’m at the point right now – I can’t tweet 90% of the things I want to tweet because people will just meme it,” he continued. “They make it into a meme. …it’s why I just post clips now.” The streamer even claimed to receive backlash from his own fanbase, alleging that “hating” on him has become a trend throughout Twitch’s Fortnite community. “At some point, somehow, it became a cool thing to dislike me,” he said of the matter, going on to recount a similar instance during his days playing H1Z1. Despite this trend, Ninja appeared to be unfazed by the hate, turning on his facecam and saying, “Look at me now, baby!” Ninja vs Tfue This wouldn’t be the first time Ninja and Tfue have butted heads, considering his comparison of their creator codes; Ninja also appeared to rebuff Tfue’s comments on the amount of money offered by the Fortnite World Cup, arguing that “of course, people are going to find a way to complain about Epic.” [Timestamp: 0:10 for mobile viewers] That’s not all; the two are also the topic of conversation throughout the community as to who is the best Fortnite streamer on Twitch, with fans comparing their subscriber count, gaming skills, and other such details to see who will come out on top. Although fans continue to pit the two streamers against each other, Ninja appears to be taking the hate in stride, following his appearance on a limited-edition line of Red Bull cans in late March.

Ninja responds to the video games and violence debate on Jimmy Fallon – Dexerto
Ninja responds to the video games and violence debate on Jimmy Fallon The Tonight Show, YouTube / Epic GamesStreaming star Tyler “Ninja” Blevins is one of the most popular faces in gaming, rubbing elbows with the likes of Drake and Marshmello and even ringing in the new year with a livestreamed event in Times Square – and now, he’s made an appearance on late-night television. Ninja has been featured in such late shows before, with host Jimmy Fallon inviting him on The Tonight Show in December 2018 just ahead of his New Year’s bash for an impromptu lesson in the Pon Pon Dance. However, Ninja made a second appearance on the show on September 18, where he discussed the current debate surrounding violence and video games, which Fallon brought up in a segment debunking gaming’s “biggest myths.” 600https://www.instagram.com/p/B2kLkDYAHkg/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_linkWhen presented with the subject, Ninja argued that parents are ultimately responsible for the media their children consume, comparing the ESRB rating system to that of movies. “Just like there are movies that have rated PG-13, rated R – same thing with video games,” he replied. “Your kids shouldn’t be playing rated M for Mature games. So, as parents, you guys, it’s up to you to make sure you’re watching and making sure your kids aren’t playing those violent games at a young age.” (Timestamp: 3:05 for mobile viewers) That’s not all: Ninja likewise debunked the myth that gaming makes players antisocial, referencing conventions, tournaments, and other meetups that get gamers involved with their communities. Ninja is responsible for the streaming industry’s success today – Dexerto
Ninja is responsible for the streaming industry’s success today Tyler “Ninja” Blevins was the catalyst that brought gaming into the eye of mainstream media. He may not have as many viewers now as he did in his prime, but Ninja walked so streamers today could run. Before 2018, gaming was seen as a subculture of nerddom exclusive to children and adults living in their parents’ basements. Streamers weren’t signed by the Dallas Cowboys, and A-list celebrities weren’t making guest appearances at video game award shows. Gaming was a hobby, and very few streamers were able to garner enough subscribers and donations to consider it a full-time job. But that all changed when one skinny kid with blue hair played Fortnite with the world’s most famous rap artist. Today, streaming platforms fight over content creators. Streamers rake in millions of dollars from contracts, donations, brand deals, and creator codes. But the gaming scene could look completely different if it weren’t for Tyler “Ninja” Blevins. Fortnite sets the perfect stage With the growing popularity of the Battle Royale genre, Twitch streamers started to notice an increase in viewership. Games such as PUBG and Day Z were among the first to pit 100 players against each other in a fight to the death. Viewers were hooked. Pivoting from the development of a zombie survival game, Epic Games released what would become the world’s most popular Battle Royale: Fortnite. And Ninja was there as one of the first streamers to capitalize on its inevitable popularity. Fortnite was immediately popular for a few reasons: It was free for everyone, available on most platforms, and its unique building mechanics would add a layer of gameplay that no other game could offer. Viewers loved to watch their favorite personalities fight to be the best out of 100 players. Ninja being one of the first to start playing Fortnite in 2017 meant more people would flock to his streams. But it wouldn’t be until a few months into 2018 that his career skyrocketed. Ninja, Drake, and Fortnite During the first few months of 2018, Ninja already had a ridiculous number of viewers. Maxing out at just over 100k concurrent viewers a day, Ninja’s average viewer count was more than what top streamers can muster today. While Ninja was flirting with the glass ceiling of success, it wouldn’t be until March 15, 2018 that he would burst through it. That would be the day that Ninja would squad up with world-famous superstar and rap icon Drake. That night, Ninja’s stats were off the charts, but that wasn’t what broke the mold for Twitch streamers. This was one of the first times that major mainstream news outlets were reporting positively on video games. CNN, The Washington Post, Business Insider, BBC. What seemed like taboo to cover was now on the front page of these outlets. Many headlines excluded the mention of Tyler “Ninja” Blevins favoring Drake as a “record-breaking” gamer. Ninja from Fortnite A wave of news stories praised Drake for playing with Ninja from Fortnite, and now gaming is a socially acceptable hobby. Hey, if the world’s coolest and most-popular rapper plays Fortnite then it has to be cool, right? Along with the increased popularity gaming saw as a whole, watching people play games became far more popular. And with his name making international news, many new viewers ran to Ninja’s stream to see what this “Fortnite” was all about. It’s obvious that Drake used Ninja as a marketing tool. Before the release of a new project, he would garner as much attention as possible, and playing Fortnite with Ninja was a genius move on his part. Ninja now had everything to lose. His time with Drake catapulted him into the spotlight and he could choose to kill the momentum or use this opportunity to make a name for himself. And in turn, he would be blazing a trail for future streamers to do the same. Ninja opens doors for gamers A few streamers have praised Ninja for opening doors that may never have been opened otherwise. And Ninja’s career for the rest of 2018 and into 2019 would be a series of Blevins opening these doors. Over the next year, Ninja would sign with Redbull, host his own tournament in Las Vegas, play Fortnite live at Lallapalooza, and squad up with Drake a few more times. However, he started to break into mainstream media frequently by appearing on Jimmy Fallon, being the first Esports athlete to appear on the cover ESPN Magazine, and even hosted New Year on Time Square. And in mid-2019, Ninja would sign a contract with Mixer that would completely change how platforms operate. Just as athletes are traded between teams, Ninja leaving his home team of Twitch popularized this idea that other platforms could scout and sign streamers. Ninja changes the streaming landscape Since 2018, a lot of shocking events surrounding Ninja’s career have become the norm. Ninja playing with celebrities and signing brand deals with major companies was insane when it first happened. Now, no one bats an eye when a streamer tweets “big announcement soon👀”. When Ninja left Twitch for Mixer, it was the first time streamers were seen as purchasable assets. Now, streamers expect multiple platforms to offer them multimillion-dollar contracts when their current one is up. Streamers are frequently in movies and commercials. People who have much smaller communities on Twitch are advertising McDonald’s sandwiches. Gamers are making “big money moves” behind the scenes all because some blue-haired kid did it first. Ninja is still killing it Compared to Ninja’s unbelievable stint in 2018-2019, his streams now might seem disheartening. He has around 10% of the viewers he had at his peak. He’s not setting records and his name is rarely in headlines anymore. But you’d be mistaken if you think Ninja “fell off.” He debuted his acting career in Ryan Reynold’s “Free Guy,” and is the voice of Party Monster in the upcoming animated film Hotel Transylvania: Transformania. Aside from what he’s doing in his career, Ninja’s legacy lives on in other streamers. Ludwig’s big move to YouTube is thanks to Ninja’s move to Mixer. TimTheTatman’s signing with Complexity can be attributed to Ninja bringing gaming into the mainstream. You may not agree that Tyler “Ninja” Blevins is as important a figure as this article makes him out to be. But I implore you to consider where your favorite streamer – if not gaming as a whole – would be if not for Ninja’s legacy.

Ninja responds to claims of Jake Paul stealing credit for BLM fundraiser – Dexerto
Ninja responds to claims of Jake Paul stealing credit for BLM fundraiser Ninja, Jake Paul – YouTubeStreaming star Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins has called out YouTuber Jake Paul for allegedly taking credit for another creator’s fundraiser for the Black Lives Matter movement, after Paul was charged with criminal trespassing during an Arizona looting. Jake Paul became hot topic across social media after the Team 10 founder came under fire for seemingly taking part in looting local businesses during a protest in Scottsdale, Arizona on May 30. The YouTube star explained his side of the story in a video on June 3, where he claimed that he did not take part in any looting, but was instead documenting the situation for historical purposes. Paul also attached a fundraiser to his video to benefit the Black Lives Matter movement — which was organized by fellow YouTuber ‘ThatMidgetAsian,’ who raised over $32k for the cause along with their audience. The youngest Paul brother appeared to take credit for the money raised in a Tweet responding to a fan, who congratulated him for his purported accomplishment. “With y’all’s help,” he replied. ‘ThatMidgetAsian’ was quick to call Paul out on his alleged theft in a TikTok video shortly thereafter, proving that they were the original organizer of the fundraiser Paul had linked to his video. “Imagine Jake Paul makes a video three days later and puts your fundraiser… and then you go to Jake Paul’s Twitter, and you see that he’s taken all the credit that you raised!” the YouTuber exclaimed. https://twitter.com/PhillyD/status/1269671076964925442?s=20 The fiasco caught the attention of Ninja, who advised Paul to run future charity initiatives through a committee to avoid potential theft or scandals such as this one. “Dear Jake Paul,” Blevins began, “I feel like you truly believe in your head that you are doing the good or right things sometimes, but you always just miss the mark. I recommend getting an advisor or a moral consultant to run your stuff by. Like if you just did YOUR own charity link, no harm here.” This isn’t the first time Ninja has commented on the subject, either; the streamer likewise hit out at Paul during the initial scandal surrounding his purported involvement in the Arizona looting, dubbing the YouTuber’s content “disgusting.” Paul has since deleted his Tweet responding to fans’ felicitations over the fundraiser, and is facing charges of criminal trespassing and unlawful assembly due to the May looting.

Ninja responds to claims that he only moved to Mixer for money – Dexerto
Ninja responds to claims that he only moved to Mixer for money freepik / ninja mixerPopular streamer and Fortnite star, Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins, responded to claims that his surprise move from Twitch to Mixer on August 1 was incentivized by money. Ninja, who was the largest streamer on Twitch in terms of raw follower numbers at the time of his announcement, revealed that he would be switching to Microsoft’s live streaming platform, Mixer, on August 1 after his long career on Twitch. As the biggest streamer on Twitch at the time, Ninja’s move to Mixer caught many fans by surprise with many believing a big pay day from the Microsoft-owned platform was the primary motivation. Ninja revealed that he would be exclusively streaming on Microsoft’s streaming platform, Mixer on August 1. On August 10, Ninja watched a short fan-made animated video, highlighting some of his biggest moments and achievements on Twitch, such as the livestream with Drake and being the first and only streamer to hit the 10 million follower mark on the platform. The video ended with a Mixer logo pouring out money for the animated Fortnite streamer who looked thrilled by seeing the cash raining down, suggesting that financial gain was one of the main reasons for Ninja’s switch. However, after laughing at video, Ninja quickly shut down the claim that his move to Mixer was primarily incentivized by money as many fans had believed: “I can’t even give you guys specifics but trust me, money was not the incentive, that I can tell you.” The Fortnite star also claims to be willing to lose viewers during his transition to Mixer, with Ninja’s wife and manager, Jessica Blevins, claiming the move aligns with what they wanted for his brand regardless of how much support they received. Ninja seems to be enjoying his first few days streaming on Mixer, even claiming that this new chapter has him feeling like a kid again and has already begun to build up smaller streamers on Microsoft’s platform with some incredibly heartwarming hosts. Although many were initially questioning the streamer’s move to Mixer, he has now managed to hit over 1 million subscribers on the new platform in less than a week after making his big announcement.

Ninja responds to Jeffree Star’s invite for a ‘mukbang’ session – Dexerto
Ninja responds to Jeffree Star’s invite for a ‘mukbang’ session It’s not often that YouTube’s gaming and beauty communities coincide – but a collaboration between two of each scene’s biggest stars could take place in the near future, thanks to Fortnite Battle Royale player Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins to tag him in her response to the post. Ninja then gave Star his own, personal recommendation for the restaurant – which may have begat one of YouTube’s biggest collaborations to date. Jeffree Tweeted at Ninja in response to his recommendation, asking him to come over for a Taco Bell ‘mukbang’ collaborative video, which Ninja enthusiastically agreed to. Now, fans are awaiting their upcoming collab, thanks to the YouTubers’ odd bond over fast food – but their exchange might have some viewers wondering, “What is ‘mukbang,’ exactly?” What is ‘mukbang?’ ‘Mukbang’ is a Korean term for a certain type of online broadcast or video content, in which hosts eat a large amount of food while talking to fellow hosts or engaging with their audience. A blend of the Korean words for ‘eating’ and ‘broadcast,’ ‘mukbang’ has grown increasingly popular over the years – but some major internet stars aren’t a fan of the genre, including YouTube king Felix ‘PewDiePie’ Kjellberg. PewDiePie admitted that he couldn’t stand hearing YouTubers smack or slurp as they ate on camera, and couldn’t understand why fans saw the appeal in watching hosts stuff their faces – even speculating that the ‘mukbang’ fad could be a sexual kink for some viewers. “It’s like ASMR, but it’s fucking repulsive,” Pewds said of the trend in a December video. “…it’s kind of like watching a train wreck. I don’t like it, but I’m still gonna watch it.” However, this wouldn’t be Jeffree Star’s first foray into YouTube’s foodie genre; the beauty guru uploaded a video with longtime boyfriend Nate Schwandt on May 14, where the two ate whatever the person in front of them decided to order for the couple at an In-N-Out drive-thru line. No further information has yet been released as to Star’s collaboration with Ninja, but considering their overwhelming popularity across the internet, it’s a safe bet that this could be a major win for both personalities.

Ninja responds to backlash after streamers complain about Twitch pre-roll ads for New Years Eve event – Dexerto
Ninja responds to backlash after streamers complain about Twitch pre-roll ads for New Years Eve event A number of popular content creators have spoken out about how Twitch are promoting their New Year’s Eve stream after pre-roll advertisements appeared on their channels. The year 2018 was undoubtedly a pivotal year for Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins, who blew up in popularity after becoming the face of Fortnite, growing in tandem with the game’s success to make him the most followed channel on the platform. In order to celebrate the end of 2018 and welcome in 2019, Twitch and Ninja have teamed up to host a New Year’s Eve stream, live from Times Square in New York City. The stream will begin at 1 PM PT / 4 PM ET / 9 PM GMT on December 31 and end at 1 AM PT / 4 AM ET / 9 AM GMT on January 1. The project had received unanimous support from the Twitch streaming community, however that all changed on Thursday December 27 when adverts for the broadcast began to appear on other content creators channels. Dr DisRespect spoke out about the situation on Twitter, asking Twitch to “get these ugly looking New Years Eve ad rolls off my page”. Dear @Twitch , get these ugly looking New Years Eve ad rolls off my page. Don’t ever do it again either. Ever. — Dr Disrespect (@drdisrespect) December 28, 2018 He wasn’t the only one who objected to the pre-rolls, with other content creators complaining that it was a conflict of interest because it was advertising another streamers channel on a night when many had their own special shows planned. I will register my opinion on Twitch advertising Ninja’s New years Eve stream on other broadcaster’s ad rolls, and likely my own channel. I don’t like that. It is a direct conflict of interest and I am not a fan of it. This should be a given, and just common sense. @Twitch — BikeMan (@BikeManStream) December 28, 2018 Things took a turn when SkyWilliams got involved, responding to BikeMan to say that he was actually giving Ninja more exposure by complaining. oddly enough by making this post about your disapproval of twitch promoting @Ninja’s stream you’ve inadvertently promoted it to me cuz i had no idea lmao But i don’t think it’s that abhorrent. he’s twitches poster child. he’s garnered tons of success for them. it makes sense — ♡♪!? (@SkyWilliams) December 28, 2018 This promoted Ninja to respond to Sky and BikeMan, claiming it would grant other streamers exposure because it was ultimately being promoted to millions. He later deleted the Tweet shown below. With more content creators getting involved in the discussion, it remains to be seen if Twitch will stop the pre-rolls or continue to push the event to their audience. Ninja reportedly turned down massive offer from Twitch to join Mixer – Dexerto
Ninja reportedly turned down massive offer from Twitch to join Mixer Ninja – TwitterTyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins shocked everyone when he made the choice to switch from Twitch to Mixer, and now we might have an idea of how much Amazon’s streaming platform offered to convince him to stay. Ninja kicked off a major streaming platform war when he moved to Mixer. Following his high-profile switch that came in the form of a press conference with himself, we saw major streamers like shroud, CouRageJD, and several others make similar decisions. According to a new report from Kotaku, Twitch offered him $15 million over three years, but they were outpaced by both Facebook Gaming and Mixer. “Twitch’s offer to keep Blevins, sources said, topped out at around $15 million per year for three years,” says the Kotaku report. “Mixer and Facebook offered him more, with Mixer upping the ante to something in the neighborhood of $20 million per year.” The report claims that Twitch believed Ninja had maxed out his “earned media” for the platform, meaning they had already gotten as much free publicity as they could get out of him. This ended up being a major factor in how much the company was willing to offer him. While Twitch had already become a household name, Mixer wasn’t exactly there yet and could benefit a lot by signing the Fortnite superstar. It lags far behind in hours watched when compared to Twitch, YouTube Gaming, and even Facebook Gaming, but it is looked at as a major player in the streaming landscape. Signing two star streamers hasn’t had much of an impact in terms of bringing extra eyes to other Mixer streamers, but it’s gone a long way in giving some credibility to the Microsoft-owned platform. Another way it can benefit from Ninja is by taking advantage of his roots in the Halo series. Before he skyrocketed to fame with Fortnite in 2017, he was a professional Halo player. Microsoft will be launching a new console and Halo: Infinite later in the year, so the signing came at a great time. The company will likely use him to promote Halo, as they already did with Gears 5 when that launched. The same Kotaku report claims a portion of money from the reported deal came from Microsoft’s Xbox division, which was “a much more sizable amount than any Mixer had negotiated with a streamer before.” It’s clear Microsoft will be interested in stirring up some extra interest for their first-party titles with Ninja, and while it’s too early to know if that’s actually going to make a major difference, they are definitely it in for the long haul.

The meme is a clip of Ninja talking to his viewers about his past relationships and what he’s done to get over some of the breakups he’s had to go through in his life. At one point, Ninja said “I’ve been broken up with, I’ve broken up with girls, some guys… wait.” That slip of the tongue caused him to stop and consider the way he had phrased what he said, but it was enough for the memers to get to work. The resulting clip is quite hilarious as right when Ninja says “wait!” the video stops and music begins to play, at which point the edit cuts to one of a moment from a past live-stream when he stands up and greets some of his peers. Read More: Dr DisRespect compares Epic Games to Daybreak after hilarious, rage-induced Fortnite death – During that moment, a gentlemen to his left gives him a couple of friendly taps, one on his back and one on his butt, both of which have exaggerated slapping sound effects edited over them. After the meme clip had some time to float around social media and eventually become viral, it was brought to Ninja’s attention and he decided to watch it for the first time live on stream. His reaction was what one would expect, he laugh hysterically at the editing, and his favorite part seemed to be the exaggerated slapping noises when he got tapped on the buttocks.

Ninja Releases Statement Addressing Viral Debate About Him Not Streaming With Women – Dexerto
Ninja Releases Statement Addressing Viral Debate About Him Not Streaming With Women NinjaOne of the hottest topics right now in the online gaming community is that of star Twitch streamer Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins stating that he will not be live-streaming and playing with female gamers on his channel. After publicly discussing his decision on August 11, the popular streamer has released another statement further clarifying his position. Ninja public comments about not wanting to stream with women turned out to be polarizing and inspired heavy debate across social media. While some attacked him and accused him of being in the wrong, many defended his right to make his own choices, and even praised him for protecting his relationship with his wife and manager Jessica ‘JGhosty’ Blevins. On August 13, Ninja posted another statement on his Twitter page, addressing the widespread debate about his deliberate decision. I wanted to take a moment to address the discussion around the article that came out over the weekend. While I understand some people have implied my views [to] mean I have something against playing with women, I want to make clear the isse I’m addressing is online harassment, and my attempt to minimize it from our life. It is something that affects all streamers, especially ones that make their relationships public. I wanted to bring attention to this issue and my comments should not be characterized as anything beyond that. Having just celebrated my one year anniversayr, my wife and my family will always be the most important thing to me and I am doing my best to protect them. We are fans of all kind of streamers – curvyllama, kuliatv, and halieatisuto are a few of our favorites and we encourage others to check out their channels. I look forward to the opportunity to meet and play with all kinds of Fortnite players in future tournament and event.– Tyler Therefore, whether you agree with his decision or not, it is clear that he is prioritizing his relationship with his wife and does not want his family to be bothered by online harassment.

Ninja reacts to Jimmy Kimmel roasting him and other gamers over ESPN cover story – Dexerto
Ninja reacts to Jimmy Kimmel roasting him and other gamers over ESPN cover story Professional gaming and streaming is more accepted today than ever before, but that doesn’t mean it’s safe from Jimmy Kimmel’s playful jabs. The television host and comedian is never afraid of poking fun at people and a recent episode of the show saw Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins’ recent ESPN cover land in his sights. Ninja watched a clip of the segment on his own immensely popular Twitch stream on September 20 and exclaimed “please don’t make fun of me, please don’t make fun of me Jimmy!” Unfortunately, Jimmy didn’t seem to get that message! “ESPN magazine this bi-week by Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins, who is one of the world’s greatest Fortnite players. He’s a video gamer, this is the first time a video game player has been on the cover of a major sports magazine,” Kimmel begins, highlighting how groundbreaking the story is. Then comes the roast: “Some people consider this guy, Ninja, to be an athlete, because he streams for up to 12 hours a day and has, I guess, a lot of physical dexterity. And if that’s true, congratulations masturbating teens – you’re going to the Olympics!” Ninja laughs and puts his head in his hands as Kimmel continues: “I don’t know how I feel about this. Fortnite really is taking the world by storm. This is true: some parents are hiring coaches to teach their children to be better at Fortnite!” The TV star makes his feelings about that particular phenomenon very clear, saying “A quick way to know you shouldn’t have children is if you think it’s a good idea to hire a VIDEO GAME coach to teach them to play it.” Of course, the whole roast is tongue-in-cheek and Ninja’s success speaks for itself. The Twitch sensation has become the mainstream face of streaming in 2018 and his ESPN article has been hailed as one of the biggest breakthroughs for professional gaming, whether it be esports or streaming. Ninja’s wife, Jessica ‘JGhosty’ Goch, also spoke up moments after he had watched the roast, saying that being “made fun of” by Jimmy Kimmel is a PR dream and a “you made it moment.”

Ninja reacts to Steve Harvey claiming the Twitch superstar makes $1.5m a month – Dexerto
Ninja reacts to Steve Harvey claiming the Twitch superstar makes $1.5m a month Family Feud host Steve Harvey showcased how much money Tyler ‘Ninja‘ Blevins makes from streaming in a hilarious monologue to his audience, all while Ninja fact-checked. It’s no surprise to viewers of Ninja that he makes a lot of money while streaming but it can be harder for people on the outside looking in to understand. Steve Harvey did his best to explain to the crowd what Ninja does and how he makes money doing it, even if he got a couple of things wrong and had some missteps along the way. Tyler the who? “I was introducing this um dude from um uh uh Fortnite star,” Harvey said. “And then, when I was reading it, the teleprompter glitched right quick and I said ‘Please welcome Tyler the N-.’” Perhaps the teleprompter was saving him from making a mistake as he would be introduced as Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins rather than Tyler the Ninja. Harvey asked the crowd if anyone knew who Ninja was and it sounded like not many people had. Luckily, the comedian was there to give an explanation. “You know, he was on Family Feud a year ago and I asked him what he did,” Harvey said. “He said ‘I play video games’ and I said ‘Man, you need to a get a fuckin’ job.’” The next day at the Super Bowl, Harvey talked about how he found out how much Ninja actually makes. “The kid makes, and I found out that night, he makes 1 million, 1.5 million dollars a month.” Ninja said on his stream that isn’t true and indicated Harvey’s comments were a slight exaggeration. Harvey explained that viewers would donate money just to get a simple thank you from Ninja and to have their name on the screen. To his credit, Ninja said Harvey did a pretty decent job explaining everything to the crowd. Of course, Harvey had to get a jab at his kids in there after seeing how much money is really up for grabs from playing video games. “I’m looking at my kids like what the fuck ya’ll been doing.” While these numbers might have been true for much of 2018, Ninja’s sub count and viewership have come down back to earth in 2019. He’s still easily one of the most popular Twitch channels but you don’t see him boasting over 100,000 subscribers anymore.

Ninja reacts to Shroud’s surprise move to Mixer – Dexerto
Ninja reacts to Shroud’s surprise move to Mixer Mixer star Tyler ‘Twitch. Ninja made his move to the Microsoft-owned streaming site back in August. Since then there’s been a ton of speculation on who could be the next streamer to file suit with a deal of their own to bolster Mixer’s growing reach. Those questions were laid to rest after Mixer snagged one of the biggest FPS streamers on the internet by locking down Modern Warfare launch on October 25. Same shroud. New home.https://t.co/eZV2GBBSsY pic.twitter.com/AHaajkjees — Michael Grzesiek (@shroud) October 24, 2019 The new face for Mixer received a warm welcome by Ninja, who said the “massive” move was going to be a positive step for not only the platform but streaming as a whole. “Shroud making the move to Mixer is seriously a massive move for the platform and the streaming industry,” Ninja said. “Excited to watch more of his streams!” Shroud making the move to @WatchMixer is seriously a massive move for the platform and the streaming industry. Excited to watch more of his streams! — Ninja (@Ninja) October 24, 2019 Immediately after Shroud announced his deal, Ninja had a brief greeting of “welcome brother” to the newest face on Mixer. Notable streamers like former Cloud9 teammate Jordan ‘n0thing’ Gilbert, AnneMunition, Asmongold, TimetheTatman, and many more similarly celebrated Shroud’s surprise signing. So far Ninja has been far and away the biggest broadcaster on the Mixer platform. Since his move, Mixer has been a more enticing destination for people starting up their streams for the first time. Problem viewing the broadcast on mobile? Click HERE Even with Ninja exclusively on Mixer, it hasn’t really had a major effect on the site’s numbers. In fact, the amount of hours watched on Mixer has taken a dip since Ninja made his move. But now that Shroud is there, he could open the door for a flood of viewers more in tune to his laid back approach to gaming – only expanding Mixer’s overall audience demographic. Furthermore, now that Shroud is on the move to his new streaming destination, it could mean more collaborative broadcasts between the two star gamers since they can play off each other’s broadcasts. At the time of writing, Shroud has about two hours left before going live on Mixer for the first time and he’s already averaging 23,000 viewers. Since his first broadcast will likely feature Modern Warfare, the hype for both the new game as well as Shroud’s new deal, along with curiosity from Mixer newcomers could result in a monumental inaugural stream.

Ninja reacts to Jimmy Fallon calling him the Michael Jordan of gaming – Dexerto
Ninja reacts to Jimmy Fallon calling him the Michael Jordan of gaming The Tonight ShowTwitch streamer Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins made his second appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon on April 23, as the two discussed Ninja’s influence in the gaming community, even going as far as to draw comparisons to Michael Jordan. Jimmy Fallon compares Ninja to Michael Jordan The TV host, whose late night show regularly exceeds 2 million viewers, posed the question to Ninja after getting him to explain Twitch to his unfamiliar audience. “A lot of people call you the Michael Jordan of gaming,” said Fallon. “I know it’s a lot of pressure. When you hear that, what do you think?” Fallon’s comparison to Michael Jordan is flattering in the least, as Jordan is often regarded as the best basketball player of all time, as well as having done incredible amounts for the basketball community. Blevins immediately looked surprised by the comparisons, explaining that gaming is not as big as basketball, but that “if anyone else was going to call me that, I’ll take the compliment.” “For what Michael Jordan did to basketball,” continued Ninja, “he brought it to a whole other level, and changed the shoe game as well. That’s exactly what I want to continue to do with gaming.” He went on to convey his desires to transcend and promote gaming in a similar way to which Michael Jordan is perceived as advancing basketball. Ninja’s aims to promote the profile of esports even further seem to be on the right track, as he now has two appearances on Fallon’s show in just 5 months, a previously unprecedented achievement by a member of the gaming community. Ninja’s modesty in response to the statement highlights his belief that he still has a long way to go to reach the level of Michael Jordan. Fallon’s comparison is likely to stir up some controversy, as Jordan is often seen as unparalleled in the way in which he impacted upon the sport of basketball. One YouTube commenter even said: “Michael Jordan of gaming… America is doomed”. Away from comparisons with other sporting legends, Ninja revealed that his three favourite games ever are Final Fantasy XI, Legend of Legaia, and Halo 2, the latter of which drew cheers from the studio audience. The two also enjoyed a game of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, which Blevins won comfortably.

Ninja Raises Huge Amount for Charity to Get Fortnite Inspired Tattoo – Dexerto
Ninja Raises Huge Amount for Charity to Get Fortnite Inspired Tattoo Instagram/RomeoLacosteNinja has raised over $300,000 in the name of charity to get his first ever tattoos – one of which will be inspired by the Fortnite Llama. Since rising to unprecedented levels of popularity on Twitch and YouTube, Ninja has been using his huge following for some good recently, taking part in charitable events such as the GuardianCon streamer marathon. The money raised went to children’s research hospital St. Jude’s, a cause which Ninja has shown particular care for in other charity events too. And once more he has chosen to raise money for the hospital in the name of a tattoo, his first is ‘Ninja’ in Japanese lettering, and the second will be the Llama from Fortnite. About to get my first tatoo ever and it was for charity! Raised 320k for @StJude unfortunately I do not have the time for both the ninja in Japanese and the llama… rain check on the llama I promise! pic.twitter.com/rNGQmyha3G — Ninja (@Ninja) July 18, 2018 He recruited celebrity tattoo artist Romeo Lacoste, who has tattooed the likes of Kendrick Lamar, Ariana Grande, Swae Lee of Rae Sremmurd, and a host of YouTube and Instagram stars. Ninja has said he didn’t have time to get the Llama tattoo on this visit, but will stick true to his word and the charity and get it soon. Huge thank you to @RomeoLacoste for the amazing job. First tatoo pic.twitter.com/G6ZaDn2OsI — Ninja (@Ninja) July 18, 2018 Ninja was out at the ESPYS show in Los Angeles when he linked up with Lacoste, so fans may have to wait until his next trip to LA before we get to see the anticipated Llama tat. Despite some suggesting it may be a tattoo he’d regret, the impact Fortnite has had on Ninja’s life over the past year is undoubtedly worthing of commemorating permanently with some ink.

Ninja rated fans’ gaming setups, and the internet didn’t disappoint – Dexerto
Ninja rated fans’ gaming setups, and the internet didn’t disappoint Twitter: Wynnsanity / Instagram: NinjaTyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins asked fans to post pictures of their gaming set-ups and offered to review them, and the internet didn’t disappoint, showcasing an impressive range of battlestations in all shapes, sizes, and colors. Ninja might be officially done with Fortnite. However, he’s found a new home on League of Legends even though it’s pushed him to the brink of sanity a few times already. Still, he always has times for his fans, regardless of which game he’s playing. On May 22, he interacted with fans by offering to rate their gaming set-ups. Thousands of people responded and shared a glimpse of their battlestations. Ninja responded to as many as he could. Here are some of his favorites. 5. Lazarbeam’s workstation ft. Grogu Lannan ‘Lazarbeam’ Eacott was one of the first people to share his set-up. It’s a simple workstation, not too different from other streamers. However, to add some flair, he included a picture of Tom Brady, Captain America’s shield, and a figurine of Grogu from The Mandalorian in the shot. Ninja claimed the figurine was the “best part.” 4. Hydra Dufah’s purple, black, and white delight Ninja was thoroughly impressed with Hydra Dufah’s setup. He called it “sick” and gave it a mighty “10/10,” which is no surprise given how clean it looks. The black, white, and purple colors all flow perfectly together. 3. Daniel Clerke’s clean ‘his and hers’ battlestations Daniel Clerke shared pictures of two setups. The first one is his own, and the second one is his girlfriend’s. Gamers love seeing a good ‘his and hers’ battlestation, and it seems like Ninja isn’t any different. There are some similarities between them. However, the blue ambiance and ramen bowl sign in his and the pink aura and popsicle sign in hers, and the retro-gaming theme as opposed to the ‘vaporwave’ aesthetic, is what sets them apart. Ninja loved them both, calling them “clean.” 2. XSET Scomo’s epic man-cave XSET Scomo’s man-cave left Ninja speechless. Instead of replying with a comment, he left a GIF that said, “frickin’ awesome!” It’s got everything from a triple-monitor set-up with red and purple lights to a console gaming hub surrounded by epic sports merch and other bits and pieces. 1. Wynnsanity’s neon-blue setup Last but not least, Ninja “loved” Wynnsanity’s incredible gaming room. Not only does it look like a scene from Tron: Legacy, but it’s got everything a gamer needs, including a pc, two ultra-wide monitors, a fridge full of energy drinks, and of course, a trusty tablet for mobile games. Read More: Ninja teases long-awaited Fortnite comeback – You know what? You “love to see it,” and so does Ninja. Everyone is different, and not every design will be your cup of tea. But in the end, Ninja gave people the opportunity to share their battlestations, and they delivered in spades.

Ninja ‘rages’ at Starbucks employee who messed up his order – Dexerto
Ninja ‘rages’ at Starbucks employee who messed up his order Starbucks / Mixer: NinjaStreaming sensation Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins lashed out at an unlucky coffee shop that got his order wrong for the second consecutive week. Midway through a Monday afternoon stream on September 16, Ninja’s wife Jessica Blevins came into his streaming room to hand off his Starbucks order. Before she could even place the coffee down, Ninja had slammed his desk in amusing frustration. Playing a few games of Fortnite with friends and fellow streamers Timthetatman, DrLupo, and FearItSelf, Ninja was downed just moments before his wife came in with the hilarious news. “Are you actually out of your mind?” The streamer joked as he noticed the size of the coffee order. Raising his voice and hitting his desk in anger, “you’re trolling me right?” Read more: Ninja hilariously roasts xQc – Having ordered the largest size possible of the pumpkin spice latte at Starbucks, Ninja was not all too pleased to find that he’d actually been provided with the smallest size possible. “This is the same shit that happened last Monday. Literally the same thing that happened last week,” he continued, as fellow streamers in the lobby laughed and joked in the background. “Here’s the worst part. It says grande on it. I ordered a trenta, it says grande, and they gave me a tall. You’ve gotta be joking me man,” Ninja said through a faint laugh. The outrage begins at the 0:50 mark for mobile users. Acknowledging the humor in the situation and playing up his frustration to the stream, Ninja joked that “if this is not the biggest first world, white person problem you’ve ever heard…” Despite occasionally venting his anger on stream, Ninja has been a beacon of positivity in the streaming community throughout his rise to stardom, from regularly playing with fans to appearances on Celebrity Family Feud. Having recently transitioned to Mixer, Ninja has been met with a great deal of success, breaking records along the way. Meanwhile, Twitch viewership for Fortnite has seen quite a steep decline of late. Perhaps next Monday, Starbucks will prove that the third time is always lucky as they look to finally right their wrongs and get Ninja’s order correct.

Ninja loses it with TimTheTatman yet again after hilarious Fortnite fail – Dexerto
Ninja loses it with TimTheTatman yet again after hilarious Fortnite fail Ninja, TimTheTatman / TwitchPopular Fortnite Battle Royale, but he was made even angrier when Tim ‘TimTheTatman’ Bertar blamed the eventual loss on him. As usual, the pair hopped into Epic Games‘ battle royale game for a few games of Duos, looking to pick up a few Victory Royales in the process. However, after winding up at the heavily criticized location of Tilted Towers, things never exactly went to plan. Ninja was looting around the highly popular point of interest before he heard a few players nearby. Looking down towards an underground room inside a building to the west of the location, Ninja quickly edited and wiped out one enemy from another team. Ninja rages after trap kill After looting up, the other enemy moved closer, but TimTheTatman was on top of things and eliminated them with a shotgun. Ninja decided to edit his way back downstairs to loot the other downed player – only to realize that there was a trap there waiting for him as he stumbled into his own death. “Oh, the trap! Tim please…” the downed player said before the spikes sprung out for a second time to eliminate him. Tim started laughing, clearly enjoying the moment, but was unable to collect the card as he had to flee another team’s attack. Could TimTheTatman have saved Ninja? After using a launchpad to move away from the Tilted Towers Reboot Van, he was eliminated just seconds later. Ninja questioned the direction he chose to go – which led him right into another team – but Tim threw some shots back of his own. “Hey, listen… You died to a trap that you know was there so I don’t know what you’re talking about,” he said, which clearly didn’t go down too well with his partner. “HEY! HEY!” Ninja screamed repeatedly. “I was on the opposite end, it shouldn’t have even hit me.” Ninja later admitted to knowing that the trap was there, but didn’t seem to want to take the blame for what unfolded. With errors on both sides, there’s no doubt that this was a well-deserved loss for the streamers. They’ll bounce back, though. They always do.

Ninja rage-quits KEEMSTAR’s Minecraft Monday after just four games – Dexerto
Ninja rage-quits KEEMSTAR’s Minecraft Monday after just four games Twitch: Ninja / MojangTyler ‘Ninja‘ Blevins might be a pro at Fortnite, but he just couldn’t click with Minecraft during the first week of Daniel ‘KEEMSTAR‘ Keem’s Minecraft Monday. KEEMSTAR’s Minecraft Monday kicked off today, with internet personalities such as Jimmy ‘Mr Beast‘ Donaldson, and ‘DolanDark’ taking part. The event pits all sorts of YouTubers, streamers, and influencers together as they try and earn the most points. While the event was a succes with a whopping 400,000 viewers at its peak, Ninja just could not click with the game, and ended up leaving after playing just four games. What made him quit? While teamed up with MrBeast, the pair discovered a chest with a block on it, making it extremely difficult to open. The scuffle to open it caused his teammate to die, but not before Ninja got extremely frustrated, stating, “it won’t let me open it!” MrBeast tried to explain that it was because of the block, but ended up getting stabbed to death. “WHY IS THERE A CHEST WITH A BLOCK ON THE TOP?” MrBeast exclaimed bewilderedly. Ninja replied frustratingly with “What the F is going on, man?! Come on, dude!” “That’s so dum- I’m not watching this game,” the Fortnite pro uttered in defeat before exiting out of the game. “I’m out, that’s it, that’s my last one, dude. I can’t. I can’t do it anymore.” He then thanks his viewers for watching and supporting Minecraft Monday, and explained that he’s “tapping out.” (Mobile viewers, click here to watch the following clip on Streamable.) It’s easy to see why Ninja got frustrated, seeing as the pair died quickly in every game they played, and just couldn’t seem to mesh well with it – anyone would get annoyed at that. Luckily, KEEMSTAR wasn’t bothered by his exit, tweeting, “Thank you Ninja & MrBeastYT! Ninja had to Dip he’s running no sleep but still showed up to support [hashtag] MinecraftMonday.” Thank you @Ninja & @MrBeastYT ! Ninja had to Dip he’s running no sleep but still showed up to support #MinecraftMonday — KEEM  (@KEEMSTAR) June 24, 2019 The Fortnite pro replied to the DramaAlert host, admitting that he needed to have more practice with Minecraft, but enjoyed it all the same. MrBeast then responded to that with a simple “Same.” You can’t be mad at the dude for trying, and honestly, the best part of the whole thing was watching him and MrBeast having fun together.

Ninja pranked into drinking straight vodka on stream for TikTok – Dexerto
Ninja pranked into drinking straight vodka on stream for TikTok TikTok: JessicaBlevins69/IG: JessicaBlevinsJessica Blevins, manager and wife of Mixer star Ninja, has shared a hilarious prank to her TikTok account, baiting the streamer into drinking straight vodka while streaming. The growth of TikTok is pretty unrivaled in social media terms. One of the fastest-growing apps of the past decade, it has created a host of new celebrities. We’ve also seen a number of existing internet and mainstream celebrities cross over to TikTok, including Ninja. The Mixer star’s videos have been the subject of many jokes from other streamers, namely Dr Disrespect. His wife’s TikTok account, on the other hand, seems to be taking a more auspicious direction, particularly if her latest hit video is anything to go by. On May 8, Jess uploaded a post in which she gives Ninja a pretend mixed drink, that’s actually 100% vodka. “Okay, so Tyler is streaming right now and he is having a drink,” she explained. “And I told him that I could make him an amazing drink with this Bud Light Seltzer… I am gonna try to do just pure vodka with just a splash of grenadine, so it looks like a mixed drink, then try and get his reaction.” The Mixer streamer’s reaction is pretty hilarious too, quickly realizing the whole thing was a prank from his wife. “I hate you,” Ninja said. “I hate you. Oh my god that’s the most disgusting drink ever in the f**king world. I can’t believe you made me drink that sh*t. And you’re recording me?!” Read More: Forsen banned on Twitch and nobody knows why – It’s still pretty early days for Jess’s TikTok account – she only has 11,000 followers and is not yet verified on the platform. Ninja questions xQc’s “misleading” $100M Kick contract – Dexerto
Ninja questions xQc’s “misleading” $100M Kick contract IG: ninja/qxcow1Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins has cast doubt on the specifics of Felix ‘xQc’ Lengyel’s mammoth $100 million contract with Kick by labeling it as “misleading.” Ninja, known for his own historic deals in the world of streaming, has shed light on what he believes to be the true nature of xQc’s agreement with Kick during a recent episode of the AFK w/ Ninja Podcast. While speaking about his time at Mixer and discussing the reasons for the platform’s eventual downfall, Ninja reflected on his groundbreaking deal with the now-defunct streaming site, claiming that it is still one of the “biggest, most legitimate exclusive streaming deals” in history. The most lucrative deal in streaming history now appears to belong to xQc, however, after he signed a $70 million guaranteed non-exclusive deal with Kick that has the potential to grow into more than $100 million based on incentives over two years. While reflecting on his own “raw deal to hit 100 hours a week” back with Mixer, Ninja then turned his attention to xQc’s deal with Kick, stating, “Even the xQc deal, like the hundred million deal, dude, it wasn’t like 100 million cash.” He further speculated, “I would bet a large amount of money… that money was either like some sort of something involved with gambling money, Stake money, Stake percentage… it wasn’t just all cash.” Growing curiosity regarding his deal with Kick even led xQc himself to address the speculation as he recently broke down the details of his contract after NICKMERCS signed with the platform. Confirming separate agreements with both Kick and Stake, he emphasized their independence. He said, “They’re not lumped in. They’re not one. If Stake wasn’t banned on Twitch, I would do it [gamble] on Twitch.” xQc disclosed that his combined deals amount to a figure significantly higher than the previously announced $100 million deal. “If I chose to put gambling into the [Kick] contract it probably wouldn’t have been $100 mil,” he said. He elaborated, “If I put both together in the contract and had one number for it, it would probably be like $275 [million]. But it’s not. Because I didn’t want to do that. I want to keep it separate.” For more Twitch and streaming news, check out our entertainment coverage right here at Dexerto.

With both players still vying for a World Cup qualification spot, it may not be too long before they meet on the battlefield again.

Ninja & Pokimane turned into literal cartoons for Times Square Twitch ads – Dexerto
Ninja & Pokimane turned into literal cartoons for Times Square Twitch ads Twitter: Ninja, Pokimane, TwitchStreaming stars Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins and Imane ‘Pokimane’ Anys have scored their very own Twitch advertisements in Times Square, of all places — and it’s safe to say they’re excited about it. It’s not every day that internet stars get their content advertised on one of the biggest billboards in the United States, but that’s exactly what’s happening for two of Twitch’s most popular powerhouses. Ninja and Pokimane have amassed a huge audience between the two of them; boasting a combined 24.5 million followers on Twitch, both content creators have risen to the heights of internet stardom for their wildly popular gaming broadcasts. While the streamers have enjoyed collaborations with major companies in the past, these exploits pale in comparison to their upcoming advertisements, which — according to Pokimane — will be shown off in Times Square. https://twitter.com/pokimanelol/status/1396892874612961284?s=20 The ads tell a story of the broadcasters’ careers with stunning cartoonish animations, portraying them as streaming superheroes who silence trolls and save the day with their gaming skills (Ninja even acquires a magical headband in his video as a callback to his classic look — as well as being a potential Afro Samurai reference?). That’s not all; Ninja revealed that limited edition vinyl figures are going up for pre-order on May 27 at 12 PM PST as part of his latest ad campaign. His journey is an epic one forged from hoodies, death metal, and CHAOS. We also heard he’s a really nice guy. The legend of @timthetatman continues on Twitch. pic.twitter.com/gRIinzt5qv — Twitch (@Twitch) May 24, 2021 While there’s no telling just yet, it seems that fans and fellow creators alike are jazzed about this newest step into the mainstream for Twitch stars.

Ninja has boomed in popularity in 2018, parallel to the success of his game of choice, Fortnite Battle Royale, and now comfortably sits atop the most followed channels chart with over 12 million. He also broke the record for peak concurrent viewership for an individual streamer when he played Fortnite with Drake and Travis Scott – and then broke his own record shortly after with his Las Vegas Fortnite tournament, which peaked at over 660,000. This number wasn’t enough to surpass the overall record however, which is held by ELEAGUE for the Boston CS:GO Major in January 2018 with over 1 million, but the records are separated as ELEAGUE is an organization rather than a solo streamer’s channel. However, over the whole of 2018, Ninja has beaten out even Riot Games, developers of League of Legends (the most watched esport) in terms of raw hours watched. In fact, Ninja more than doubles Riot Games, with 227 million hours watched according to The Esports Observer. The top @Twitch channels of 2018: :first_place_medal: @Ninja :second_place_medal: @riotgames :third_place_medal: @shroud https://t.co/rReNvBlCR8@overwatchleague has a strong first year, ending fourth in a list that spans a wide range of genres and channel types. pic.twitter.com/0HOCacwrlX— The Esports Observer (@esportsobserved) December 29, 2018 Ninja has an obvious advantage over channels like Overwatch League and Riot Games, as he streams almost every day of the week, sometimes for over 12 hours, while these event channels stream significantly less, only broadcasting live matches during the competitive season. Nonetheless, Ninja joked that given his incredible viewership figures – tripling the Overwatch League – he could be worth the same or more than the deal struck by Blizzard and Twitch. It is believed that Twitch’s deal with the Overwatch League is worth $90 million over two years, the biggest exclusivity deal ever struck in esports. So if overwatch league got paid 70 mil and I tripled their hours watched…. does that mean….. ?!?!?! — Ninja (@Ninja) December 29, 2018 Ninja made clear that he was only joking in a reply, showing that he was deliberately stirring the pot. He has already been under scrutiny recently, after adverts for his New Year’s Eve event began running on other streamer’s channels on December 28, sparking backlash against both Ninja and Twitch.

Ninja pokes fun at himself for New Year’s Eve flossing fail – Dexerto
Ninja pokes fun at himself for New Year’s Eve flossing fail Red BullNinja turned himself into a meme during his New Year’s Eve stream and had the opportunity to do it again but avoided it. Ninja hosted a huge New Year’s Eve event on Twitch where he played Fortnite at Times Square in New York City. It was a record-breaking stream but many viewers likely remember one thing in particular. At one point, Ninja faced the crowd and tried to get them to ‘floss’ with him. It was a rainy night and the crowd didn’t appear to be having any of it as Ninja just awkwardly flossed by himself. You can view the NYE flossing misstep above, but Ninja recently managed to avoid creating another similar incident. Read More: Are Planes coming back to Fortnite? – Ninja played Fortnite in New York City again as part of a Samsung event that advertised the new Samsung Galaxy S10 that also featured the K-Pop group iKON. It appears that at some point during the event Ninja was asked to dance, an offer which he quickly declined as he likely thought back to the last time he did that in New York. “I’ll you guys dance, and them,” he said. “No way, never again, never in New York again.” It’s good to see Ninja being able to poke fun at himself after that event because it definitely ranks up there among the most embarrassing moments of his career. This clip shows he has been able to take the criticism and embarrassment in stride, which is good since he’s one of the biggest names in the gaming world now.

Ninja plays Fortnite with fake Drake after Drake’s account is hacked – hacker gets racist on stream – Dexerto
Ninja plays Fortnite with fake Drake after Drake’s account is hacked – hacker gets racist on stream Drake/InstagramNinja believed that he was playing Fortnite with Drake once again during a charity stream on November 23 – but it turned out to be a hacker on Drake’s account. The account ‘Duddus647’ randomly joined Ninja’s game while he was doing a charity livestream to raise money for the Ellen Fund, in collaboration with the Ellen show. Believing that it was in fact Drake, Ninja attempted to text the rapper, saying “I’m not sure if Drake meant to invite me?” – before jumping into a game. With the Drake account completely silent at first, Ninja began to play as normal, assuming that the star was maybe just setting up his microphone and audio. Things seemed perfectly normal (if one of the most famous people in the world randomly joining your game of Fortnite can ever be considered ‘normal’), and Ninja quickly got to taking out opponents. Suddenly however, “Drake” broke his silence, except of course it wasn’t Drake at all, but rather a hacker who had gained access to the account – and began saying the N-word repeatedly. Warning: This clip contains very offensive language. Ninja immediately left the game and said he will inform Drake that his account has been hacked, as well as report the player to Epic Games. “I’ll be sending [Drake] a message and letting him know, that his account was hacked. I’m going to report that guy to Epic, and hopefully they can do something pretty serious about that.” Ninja’s suspicions were already raised by a number of factors, including the account having very high ping, which seemed to indicate they were in Europe. Drake also previously played on PlayStation, but the user on the account appeared to be playing PC, presumably having hacked into Drake’s Epic Games account somehow and accessing it on PC rather than PS4. This is why his in game name also appeared differently to the previous name of ‘TheBoyDuddus’ Epic Games will presumably work to get Drake’s account back and secure it from any hackers, but whether they will be able to catch the hacker is unclear.

Ninja pulls off perfect Dr Disrespect impression – “Violence. Speed. Momentum!” – Dexerto
Ninja pulls off perfect Dr Disrespect impression – “Violence. Speed. Momentum!” Ninja, Shroud/TwitchTyler “Ninja” Blevins has spent plenty of time on Twitch playing with Dr Disrespect, which allowed him to give a perfect impression of the Two-Time, much to the delight of his viewers. Ninja and Dr Disrespect are undoubtedly two of the most popular creators on the streaming platform and have had their fair share of friendly ‘beef’ on Twitter in the past. Yesterday saw the start of the Tfue lawsuit against FaZe Clan where Tfue accused FaZe of locking him into an ‘oppressive’ contract, which sent the entire internet into a state of madness. Luckily, Ninja was around to break the tension, awarding his viewers with a perfect impression of Dr Disrespect while playing synth music in the background. “Violence. Speed. Momentum,” he announces as he looks directly into the camera, “the two time back to back 1991, 1992 Blockbuster champion, it’s not even close!” ‘Violence. Speed. Momentum’ is Dr Disrespect’s signature catchphrase and ‘Blockbuster champion’ is a reference to his self-declared 1993-1994 wins. Will Dr Disrespect give a response? It’s only a matter of time before Dr Disrespect responds as he is known to do impersonations of other streamers himself from time to time, as well as making jokes towards others. When Michael ‘shroud’ Grzesiek was involved in a scooter accident that left him hospitalized back in March, Doc wasted no time in making a friendly jab at him. “He got a booboo on his elbow!” Doc exclaimed during a stream, “tell him to get in the post and guard a 7 foot, 250-pound monster athletic man.” “He fell off his scooter and got a booboo on his elbow,” Doc continued, “and it’s the collapse of social media. Jesus!” Shroud and Doc have an established rivalry on Twitch and are no strangers to joking around with each other, so his mocking of the popular PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds streamer was taken in good faith.

Ninja partners with athletic giant Adidas after days of speculation – Dexerto
Ninja partners with athletic giant Adidas after days of speculation Ninja, YouTube / LAUREN KRETZSCHMARStreaming star Tyler “Ninja” Blevins is one of the biggest faces in gaming – and he’s made yet another huge partnership, following his massive move to Mixer earlier this month. It looks like the Twitch-turned-Mixer star keeps making “money moves,” after releasing a mysterious video on August 26 that appeared to tease announcement for the very next day. Edited in a “found-footage” style, Ninja’s Twitter video came complete with auditory static and visual glitches, which ultimately revealed a message that simply read, “Tomorrow, 2 pm CT.” As it happens, Ninja’s disconcerting video teased his partnership with athletic clothing company Adidas, as confirmed in another post on August 27. “Partnering with Adidas is a chance to join a family that celebrates fellow creators at the top of their game,” Ninja states in the official announcement video. “Those who choose to persevere through doubt, fear, and uncertainty to chase their dreams.” While he didn’t drop the exact details of their partnership, the streaming giant told fans to “use your imagination” in regards to the move – leaving them guessing as to the deal’s potential merchandise and more. No shortcuts. Only long days. Never let anyone tell you that you can’t catch your dreams. Choose your path. Put the TIME IN. I’m humbled, and excited, to officially announce my partnership with @adidasoriginals . https://t.co/B42gK4AoF5#createdwithadidas pic.twitter.com/PdAKnCflCD— Ninja (@Ninja) August 27, 2019 However, this announcement doesn’t come as a massive surprise to some fans, who noticed a questionable upload on Ninja’s YouTube channel on August 23. The 54-second-long video was quickly deleted, titled “Ninja x Adidas: Time in” – the very same title of the current announcement video available to watch on his channel. Ninja’s website was also down during this period, sporting a simple “Under Construction” message, which lead internet sleuths to believe that something big was on the horizon. 600 With Adidas already boasting ample esports partnerships, including deals with Team Vitality and Team Heretics, Ninja’s involvement marks the latest gaming initiative for the brand – and his most recent partnership in light of his groundbreaking Mixer deal. Leaving over 14.7 million viewers behind on Twitch, Ninja exclusive Mixer partnership is shaking up the streaming community, following YouTube star Felix “PewDiePie’s” partnership with streaming platform D-Live in April 2019. Despite the potential loss, both Ninja and his manager Jessica Blevins claimed that they were “confident” with their decision to switch platforms, claiming that it “aligns with what we believe in and wanted for the brand.” Following his latest brand deal with Adidas, it doesn’t look like streaming’s biggest personality is leaving the building anytime soon, considering his massive popularity in spite of leaving Twitch.

Ninja has perfect comeback to Dr Disrespect’s sub count roast – Dexerto
Ninja has perfect comeback to Dr Disrespect’s sub count roast Dr Disrespect made his return to Twitch on July 8 and quickly started stirring up some trouble by making fun of Tyler ‘Ninja‘ Blevins’ subscriber count. Fresh off his return from his nearly month-long ban, Dr Disrespect went straight on the offensive and put Ninja firmly in his scopes. In a surprise to nobody, the Doc was greeted in his return with a lot of support in the form of donations and subscriptions. The Two-Time saw this as an opportunity to go after Ninja. What did Dr Disrespect say? Doc had to get this off his chest and let everyone know who the top dog was, and wanted to make sure Ninja heard it right away. Read More: Streamer Anita explains how she handles grief and it’s some of the best advice you’ll ever hear – “Ladies and gentlemen, I haven’t been on Twitch in a month,” the Doc said. “I’ve literally only been on Twitch for 30 minutes in the past month and I already have more subs than Ninja.” As it turns out, it didn’t take long for Ninja to catch wind of the Doc’s roast and he listened to the clip on stream after securing a victory in Fortnite. Ninja’s reaction Ninja watched the clip and took it pretty well, considering he couldn’t deny the truth of what the Two-Time said. He did raise a valid point, though. “That’s unfair though, man,” he said. “I haven’t been streaming in the last two weeks. So even though he’s been banned for the last week and half, I also haven’t been streaming.” During the Doc’s absence on Twitch, we missed out on a lot of these playful riffs between Ninja and other streamers. Now that he’s back, we expect him to pick right back up where he left off, and continue to prove to the world just why he’s the face of Twitch. A frequent target of Doc attacks, Michael ‘shroud’ Grezsiek has been safe so far, but we can certainly expect that to change soon.

Ninja Offers Words of Inspiration to ComedyShortsGamer After People Tell Him to Drop Out of Jake Paul Fight – “Let it fuel you” – Dexerto
Ninja Offers Words of Inspiration to ComedyShortsGamer After People Tell Him to Drop Out of Jake Paul Fight – “Let it fuel you” It appears that aside from raking in massive views on Twitch and YouTube, Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins also has a knack for moral support. The Fortnite extraordinaire came to the side of Deji ‘ComedyShortsGamer’ on June 29th, offering him words of inspiration during what has been a difficult day for the YouTuber. With less than two months until his highly anticipated boxing match against Jake Paul, Deji publicly expressed his disappointment in those that had called for him to back out of the fight. Among those people included friend and fellow YouTuber Daniel ‘KEEMSTAR’ Keem, who had earlier tweeted out that he would like to see Joe Weller replace Deji in the ring against Jake Paul. However, in case he was having any doubts, his confidence should get a major boost after hearing those words of inspiration from someone like Ninja.

Ninja on his break from streaming and the importance of mental health – Dexerto
Ninja on his break from streaming and the importance of mental health NinjaTyler ‘Fortnite streamer missed him for almost two weeks, with the American explaining to his audience why he had to take an extended break away from the platform. Following the release of Fortnite, Ninja, already a popular streamer, quickly became one of the most recognizable figures on the streaming platform, and gaming at large, regularly drawing in tens of thousands of viewers to watch his gameplay. In July, Ninja headed down to Los Angeles to attend the NFL Player Social Summit, and while he intended to stream occasionally when he was in California, he chose not to and took time away, explaining his reasoning in his return stream on July 18. Ninja revealed that he would have been able to use the Red Bull studios to stream from, but chose not too because he wasn’t feeling like it. “Red Bull has a hook up for me where I can go stream in a little studio by them,” said the 28-year-old. “Every day when the question came up, I was like ‘nah’.” Ninja continued: “I always missed streaming. I missed gaming, I I love gaming, gaming is my life.” “I found myself sitting around some days doing nothing, but it almost felt better than – I definitely don’t way to say forcing myself to stream – but my last five streams before I left were pretty horrible man. They were all insanely toxic, the chat was bad.” Ninja went on to explain how these kind of things can wear on him, especially when they keep happening over a long period of time, and that he needed to take some time away to refresh. The former Halo pro explained: “I know ‘Don’t let the hate get you down.’ It’s one of those things where when it happens for months, the same stuff over and over again, that’s the stuff that wears and tears you down. Some of the dumbest things, but after eight months I need a break.” “Just necessary man,” concluded the Twitch sensation. “It’s just necessary when you’re feeling overwhelmed or you feel like you’re just stuck in a loop to break out of it. Mental health man, you’ve got to take care of yourself first, always. “I just spent every day with my wife, saw my closest friends out in California and met a bunch of new people. While many may look at livestreaming as the perfect job, being in the limelight and in front of an audience all day, every day, can take a toll on content creators, especially if they feel that their chat isn’t behaving how they would like. For Ninja, the stress of being one of Twitch’s biggest stars had clearly been weighing for him, so the chance to visit friends and take a break from streaming appears to have been the perfect opportunity for him to recharge his batteries.

Ninja offers to play Fortnite with look-a-like after he was soaked with beer at New York Yankees game – Dexerto
Ninja offers to play Fortnite with look-a-like after he was soaked with beer at New York Yankees game Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins attempted to reach out to a fan sporting his iconic blue haircut after the fan suffered through an unfortunate incident at a baseball game. A video surfaced on Thursday morning of a fan being doused with a beer during the New York Yankees win over the Oakland Athletics on Wednesday evening. Seen wearing an Athletics jersey at Yankee Stadium for the game, it seems as though the fan was a victim of being found in ‘enemy’ territory. The video, while viral material in its own right, was made even more popular by the fact that the poor guy hit with the beer bore an uncanny likeness to Ninja, a fact that quickly garnered the attention of the popular Fortnite streamer. My mentions are filled with someone throwing beer on a guy with blue hair and tagging me. My question is… does that guy game, and does he want to get some wins. — Ninja (@Ninja) October 4, 2018 While everyone in Ninja’s mentions attempted to try and locate the unlucky Athletics fan to make the gaming session a reality, there’s no word yet if Ninja has gotten in contact with him. In a heartwarming series of events, though, the Oakland Athletics managed to discover the identity of the fan themselves and have elected to send him a care package along with hosting the New York resident at a game in Oakland during the 2019 season. Ninja offers advice to a fan who’s being bullied for enjoying his streams – Dexerto
Ninja offers advice to a fan who’s being bullied for enjoying his streams Despite his meteoric rise to fame in the online gaming community, Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins constantly faces scrutiny and criticism, and it appears that some of his viewers are also being hit with the same treatment. During one of his recent streams, Ninja came across a viewer who wrote this in the chat: “You’re my favorite streamer and people at school make fun of me for it.” In response, Ninja offered some advice to not only that viewer but also to anyone who gets made fun of or bullied for watching his streams and being a fan. “If you’re getting made fun of because you like anything that someone else doesn’t like, those aren’t your friends,” he said. “Those people are losers. They’re the losers. Who cares, it’s your taste, your opinion.” He went on to advise that group of his viewers to retort back to the bullying by bringing up all of the good things about him and his stream. “You can always go back and be like, ‘oh you don’t like the millions of dollars he raises for charity? You don’t like the mainstream attention he brings to gaming? You don’t respect the grind, the 10 hours of streaming minimum every day, and streaming the last eight years to get to where he is? Is that what you don’t like about Ninja? HUH?!’” He also drew parallels between being a fan of a streamer on Twitch to liking a band and listening to their music: “That’s like you liking a band and people making fun of you for it. What do you do, stop listening to the band? Uh, no, you’d say ‘I really like this band so I’m gonna keep listening to them and I don’t care what all the other people think.’ Don’t worry about it.” Anyone who is a superstar in this day and age is going to have his share of naysayers, and while Ninja can’t limit the amount of haters, he can and has been doing his best to make sure his fans and viewers are subjected to the same criticisms.

Ninja, NICKMERCS and CouRage forced to mute random Fortnite teammate for bad language – Dexerto
Ninja, NICKMERCS and CouRage forced to mute random Fortnite teammate for bad language Ninja – Twitch / NICKMERCS – Twitch / Aaron Gilson – FlickrA Fortnite player got to play with superstar streamers Tyler ‘Ninja‘ Blevins, Nick ‘NICKMERCS‘ Kolcheff, and Jack ‘CouRage‘ Dunlop, and he let the excitement of the moment get to his head. Playing random fill matches on Fortnite has been a trend among popular Twitch streamers for a while now, giving them access to easy content. It also gives them the chance to brighten random players’ days, as most who queue into these fill lobbies love nothing more than the prospect of getting matched up with a star streamer. For one youngster, Christmas came early this year, as he got matched up with none other than Ninja, NICKMERCS, and CouRage, who decided to play some fill matches while waiting for the fourth member of their squad. As expected, the player was beyond excited when the reality of the situation began to dawn on him, knowing how rare of an opportunity he had just been granted. However, things took an awkward turn shortly after pleasantries were exchanged, and especially when he got eliminated far away from the rest of his teammates. Suddenly not having to focus on gameplay, he began talking a lot more, and eventually began using bad language, including the N-word. The trio of superstar streamers were gracious enough to give him a couple of reprieves early one, hilariously grunting and coughing over the what their young teammate was saying. However, as the kid kept repeating the word, the three decided it would be best to just hit the mute button, with NICKMERCS even going as far as to scold “the little rat.” “Yo, you good?” he said. “Who told you to talk like that, you little rat. How about you learn how to talk?” While streamers may love to queue into fill matches on Fortnite and get matched up with random teammates, the end result doesn’t always pan out exactly as they envision. Just as with the kid above, once in a while, people will lose their heads knowing that thousands of viewers are watching them play live. Ultimately, there is no real way to prevent this kind of behavior, so streamers who take on the risk just have to make sure they have at least one finger on the mute button, ready to go.

Ninja and NICKMERCS roast CouRage’s movie taste: “He’s a f*cking idiot” – Dexerto
Ninja and NICKMERCS roast CouRage’s movie taste: “He’s a f*cking idiot” Courage, Twitter / Legendary PicturesTwitch superstar Nick ‘NICKMERCS‘ Kolcheff has roasted 100 Thieves content creator Jack ‘CouRageJD‘ Dunlop for his movie preferences, after the YouTube personality revealed his controversial opinions on Star Wars, Transformers, and Christopher Nolan’s films. The heated discussion around which movies are better first started when CouRage announced that he was “no longer friends” with fellow internet sensations Matt ‘Nadeshot’ Haag, Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins, and Tim ‘TimTheTatman’ Betar. “It has come to my attention that Nadeshot, TimTheTatman, and Ninja think Interstellar is better than Inception. I regret to inform you all that as of today I’m no longer friends with any of them. It’s a sad time but it’s for the better,” Dunlop said in his comedic tweet. Dear Twitter, It has come to my attention that @Nadeshot, @timthetatman, and @Ninja think Interstellar is better than Inception. I regret to inform you all that as of today I’m no longer friends with any of them. It’s a sad time but it’s for the better. With Love, Uncle Jack— Jack “CouRage” Dunlop (@CouRageJD) September 24, 2019 Ninja quickly shot back after being called out on social media, dubbing CouRage’s opinion invalid due to his long-standing love of Michael Bay’s robot franchise Transformers. “Jack you literally think Transformers is a better series than Star Wars, your opinion doesn’t count,” the Mixer superstar said in a reply video. TimTheTatman echoed the sentiment minutes later: “Yeah, yeah, okay! And Transformers is better than Star Wars, right Jack?” Perhaps the heaviest roast CouRage received for his opinions on Nolan’s 2010 and 2014 releases came from NICKMERCS, who weighed in on the debate during his September 24 broadcast. “He was trying to make the case that Transformer is a better movie series than Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, or The Hobbit. I remember when he tweeted that I didn’t say anything, but I thought ‘what a fucking idiot’,” the streamer said. “I saw him tweet again the other day saying Inception is better than Interstellar, and I was like ‘yo, I knew he was a fucking idiot.’ How the fuck is Inception a better movie than Interstellar? Interstellar is like a top fiver right there man. I like Inception but come on now, dude’s a troll.” Perhaps the funniest take during the whole movie-opinion saga came from Nadeshot, who noticed that everyone was replying to CouRage’s hot take with videos on Twitter, and decided to jump in on the roasting action as well. “Everyone was making a video, so I wanted to make one too… Jack, you’re an idiot, you know Star Wars is better. Wow, Tim, Ninja, great guys, great taste in film,” the 100T founder said. A win for the under-fire Transformers lover, however, comes from review aggregation website Rotten Tomatoes, where reviewers and fans have their say on popular movies. On that website, Inception clocks in at a hefty 87% critical rating, while Interstellar trails behind at 72%. Nolan’s 2010 flick even wins the audience battle, with 91% compared to Insterllar’s 85%. Where CouRage may have got it wrong, however, is his love for Michael Bay’s multi-million dollar robot franchise and its alleged superiority over George Lucas’ space epic. When comparing both series’ first theatrical releases, Transformers 2007’s low 58% from reviewers and critics falls well behind Star Wars: A New Hope’s 93%, perhaps ending the argument about which science-fiction world has a better film franchise.

Ninja streams on YouTube for first time since Mixer shutdown – Dexerto
Ninja streams on YouTube for first time since Mixer shutdown Ninja, YouTubeTyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins has announced his first YouTube stream, following Mixer’s merger with Facebook Gaming and shut down of the platform. The surprise announcement has every content creator on the Microsoft site shuffling to either plan their transition to Facebook Gaming or to a competing service like Twitch, YouTube Live, DLive, Trovo, and more. The biggest streamers on the platform, namely Michael ‘shroud’ Grzesiek and Ninja, have reportedly been able to remove themselves from the Facebook Gaming transition and are looking for other options to take their streams. In light of the news, Ninja said that he would be taking his fans into consideration before making a decision for the next chapter of his lucrative streaming career, and now it seems his mind is made up. Out of nowhere on July 8, Ninja set out a simple tweet revealing he was going live to stream on YouTube with TimtheTatman, the first official confirmation that Google’s video-sharing site could be his new home for livestreams. Shortly after Mixer shut down there was a bit of speculation that Ninja could be headed to YouTube instead of Twitch, thanks to a brief test stream that he accidentally tweeted out. As of yet, there’s no word whether or not Ninja received any kind of signing bonus for taking his talents to YT, but as one of the world’s most popular streamers and considering the fat stacks of cash he received from Mixer, it wouldn’t be that big of a surprise. He turned down a contract offer to stream on Facebook that would yield “almost double” the amount he got from Mixer, according to esports insider Rob ‘Slasher’ Breslau. Ninja was reportedly making around $30 million from his contract with Microsoft-led company. Watch Ninja’s YouTube stream In the chaos that ensued from the Mixer shutdown, people speculated that Ninja would probably be making his long-awaited return to Twitch. The Fortnite streamer would routinely have around 37,000 viewers per broadcast on Twitch compared to a mere 8.5 thousand on Mixer, according to TwitchTracker. How many viewers he’ll pull in on average for YouTube remains to be seen, but his first stream will have added interest. With the news of Mixer closing its domain, Ninja will look to get back to the high-view count streams that he had on Twitch, except on a whole new platform, yet again.

YouTuber Jimmy “Mr Beast” Donaldson replied to the tweet, saying he agreed “1000000%.” According to Mr Beast, he’s very frustrated that he has no idea when a verified account is trying to reach out to him. 1000000% I have no idea when someone else verified is trying to reach me on insta. It’s so frustrating :/ — MrBeast (@MrBeast) February 13, 2020 100 Thieves content creator “Froste” also supported the idea, claiming that the best part about Twitter was not seeing DMs or mentions from “unverified heathens.” Ali ‘Myth’ Kabbani called the lack of direct message separation his “biggest frustration” with Instagram. However, not everyone was in support of Ninja’s suggestion. Unverified user ‘Squillivm’ took issue with the claim that messages from non-verified people were “spam” and compared the idea to social class segregation. Been out for nearly 10 years and this is still my biggest frustration with the app. — Myth (@Myth_) February 13, 2020 Other users posted sarcastic replies such as “tough life you guys live” and “stop complaining, you could just use another app” – a shot at how Ninja ditched Twitch to stream exclusively on Mixer. Whether or not Instagram intends to add the feature remains up in the air, but it’s clear that many big names want to see something done to filter out what they consider to be spam messages.

Ninja mocks Dr Disrespect after he insults streamers who multi-stream – Dexerto
Ninja mocks Dr Disrespect after he insults streamers who multi-stream Twitch: DrDisrespect / Mixer: NinjaNinja mocked Dr Disrespect on Twitter/X after the Doc took a jab at creators who multi-stream across Twitch, YouTube, and Kick at the same time. Back in September 2022, Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins revealed that he had ended his partnership contract with Twitch and began his trek multi-streaming across nearly every platform. At that time, Twitch streamers were limited to multi-streaming on mobile-first platforms like TikTok and Instagram, but they removed the limits on YouTube and Kick multi-streaming during TwitchCon 2023. Dr Disrespect shared his thoughts about multi-streams on Twitter/X, and Ninja was quick to mock him in a reply. Ninja mocks Dr Disrespects Twitch ban Starting off the back-and-forth between two of the internet’s top creators, Doc said: “If you have to multi stream, that’s because you’re not good enough for one platform.” Blevins seemed to take this a bit personally, mocking the two-time’s famous perma-ban from Twitch. “Says the guy who can’t stream on the biggest live streaming platform atm,” Ninja said. In classic Doc fashion, the two-time hit back with a hilarious Photoshop of himself and Ninja. It’s clear that the two are just having fun on Twitter and don’t actually have any beef with each other, though. Perma banned back in 2020, Dr Disrespect has yet to share the reason behind the punishment. But, he’s made a pretty solid home for himself over on YouTube Gaming since then. Twitch announced on October 31, 2023, that they’re opening up the ability for some perma-banned streamers to get their account back — leaving many wondering if Doc’s return to the Amazon-owned site is imminent. We’ll update you if anything happens, but in the meantime, you can head over to our entertainment section for news and other viral stories.

Ninja mocks “loser” stream sniper with hilarious impression – Dexerto
Ninja mocks “loser” stream sniper with hilarious impression Stream snipers are one of the most annoying issues that top streamers are forced to deal with, and Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins ridiculed those who spend their time ruining other people’s games with a comical impression. Ninja, who is the most followed streamer on Twitch, regularly encounters stream snipers despite Epic Games’ best attempts to remove them from their game, by adding features such as anonymous mode and a hidden matchmaking delay. With Arena mode matching players based on the number of points they have accrued, players in the Champions Division can easily match up with some of the best players in the world, by searching for a game at the same time if they have a similar score. After dying to a player who knew his exact location during his World Cup practice with Reverse2k, Ninja gave his impression of stream snipers when they grow older. “I remember when I was a 13-year-old loser, I used to stream snipe Ninja,” he said. “Now all you kids have dignity these days. “We would stream for four hours trying to get kills him – that’s dedication – you guys don’t know anything about dedication.” The Twitch star continued his hilarious mimicry with a conversation between the stream sniper and their future grandchildren. “We have a code – never finish the game!” he added. “We got plenty of women, we showed them the clips after.” Ninja wants Epic Games to tackle stream snipers Unfortunately for Ninja, there seems to be no way of stopping stream snipers from ruining his gaming experience despite the 27-year-old believing that Epic Games should be protecting him and other streamers more. For now, Blevins and other streamers such as FaZe Clan’s Turner ‘Tfue’ Tenney will have to deal with pesky players until Epic implement a feature to put an end to stream sniping once and for all.

Ninja Makes the Mistake of Attacking the Purple Cube on Fortnite During $500k Summer Skirmish Event – Dexerto
Ninja Makes the Mistake of Attacking the Purple Cube on Fortnite During $500k Summer Skirmish Event Ninja and partner DrLupo couldn’t believe their eyes when the massive mysterious purple cube landed directly in front of them in Fortnite during the Summer Skirmish tournament. The lightning bolts striking the desert area of the Fortnite map eventually spawned a massive purple cube in game, which shocked and confused players, including top streamer Tyler “Ninja” Blevins. It is still unclear what exactly the significance and meaning of the cube is, but Ninja did find out the hard way that it is a dangerous object to the health of your character. Getting close to the cube or shooting at it is very ill-advised, as it seems to have some sort of inter-dimensional physics at work, and will launch your character a good distance, as if you were struck by an impulse grenade – as Ninja discovered. At first completely in awe, Ninja and DrLupo decided to investigate, but quickly realized that it would do damage to them, which wasn’t a good idea considering they were playing in a $500,000 tournament. It is unlikely that it was a coincidence though, as Epic Games is known for meticulously planning out their in-game live events, and would have probably timed it deliberately for when the Summer Skirmish event was on. The tournament attracts millions of viewers on Twitch every weekend, with Ninja himself often having upwards of 120,000 concurrent viewers at any time during the competition. You can see the moment from DrLupo’s perspective below, which appeared to stump him for words. Unlike the last major in-game event, the rocket launch marking the conclusion of season 4, the Cube landing wasn’t expected, so many players would have missed it. This is perhaps why Epic timed it with the Summer Skirmish, to get as many eyes on it as possible, while also keeping it a surprise. As for the tournament itself, Ninja and DrLupo came in 13th after day one in the North American event, which was won by FaZe Thiefs and Liquid Chap. See the full results here. There will be another day of competition on August 25 as well, and perhaps Epic has another surprise up their sleeve. It is unclear if results from Day One carry over to Day Two, or if it will be a clean slate. Check out our full coverage hub for the Week 7 Summer Skirmish tournament here.

Ninja’s manager reveals how toxic Twitch chat pushed him to Mixer – Dexerto
Ninja’s manager reveals how toxic Twitch chat pushed him to Mixer Ninja – TwitterFollowing superstar streamer Tyler ‘Ninja‘ Blevins’ highly-publicized move to Mixer, his manager and wife Jessica Blevins has revealed how part of that was due to the behavior of viewers in Twitch chats. It’s no longer breaking news that Ninja has left the confines of Twitch to stream exclusively on Microsoft’s Mixer platform, and most of the details about that move have surfaced intermittently since it was announced. Jessica recently spoke with Business Insider about the circumstances that prompted the transition, breaking down some of the key reasons for the major switch. Both she and her celebrity husband have consistently claimed that finances were not the primary reason for the move, instead bringing up other factors that made them feel less comfortable about staying on Twitch. In fact, in an October 2 interview, Jessica claimed that one of the bigger factors was actually his “toxic” Twitch chat. According to the manager, Ninja’s happiness was a “major consideration for leaving,” and the fact that his chat had become “pretty toxic” had made him want to “press the reset button on everything.” “I could tell, as his wife, the last few months on Twitch, he just didn’t seem like the Ninja that I knew,” she said to Business Insider. “He didn’t seem as enthusiastic, as loud, as hyped up about wins and motivated to stream. It really seemed like he was kind of losing himself and his love for streaming.” 400Those familiar with chatrooms on Twitch will know that they can get pretty harsh and rowdy, especially if viewers are allowed to say whatever they want without much restrictions. Many streamers attempt to keep their chat in check by having rules that they and their moderators can enforce, with violators facing time-outs and even permanent bans from being able to type. Many streamers who have a lot of subscribers will lock their chat in sub-only mode, so that only those who pay monthly to the channel have the liberty to speak in there. However, despite all of these countermeasures, viewers can and often will misbehave, and considering how many subs Ninja reeled in every month, there’s no doubt that an ample amount of belligerent viewers were able to slip through the cracks. While a significant reason, having a toxic chat on Twitch was obviously not the only reason Ninja decided to transition to Mixer. Jessica explained how their negotiations with Twitch started to “not make sense” after a while, as the two sides continued to grow apart on what they would have liked to be included in the contract, such as freedom to use licensing deals and ability to grow his brand outside of gaming. However, with Microsoft stepping in and picking up the pieces, the superstar streamer and his team were able to get their wishes met, and he’s faced tremendous success since completing the move. He almost instantly shattered many of Mixer’s records, including reaching two million followers in less than a month and one million active subs after five days, and was able to reap rewards through his new relationship with Microsoft, such as hosting an exclusive Gears of War 5 stream prior to the game’s release.

Ninja makes loyal Fortnite fan’s week by clutching an insane win in squads – Dexerto
Ninja makes loyal Fortnite fan’s week by clutching an insane win in squads YouTube: Ninja / Epic GamesEver since moving to Mixer, Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins has promised to engage even more with his fans, and on August 30 he joined a team in a squad fill and managed to clutch out a victory after two of them disconnected. Ninja has taken steps to close the gap between him and fans since moving to Mixer and has tried to find a way to engage with them like never before. On August 11, the Fortnite star posted his phone number on Twitter, allowing his fans to text him directly. Continuing in that spirit, he decided to play with random players again in the battle royale, by doing another squad fills video, and he made one fan’s week with an epic clutch win. Ninja teamed up with fans Ninja uploaded a video to his YouTube channel on August 30, where he joined up with random squads looking for an extra team member. “More squad fills, because it’s fun, it’s awesome, and I actually enjoy filming these and making these,” he said. Upon entering a match, the random players in his squad were thrilled. “Ninja? No freaking way!” one of his new teammates exclaimed. “You aren’t playing around are you? Oh my god, I literally watch you every single day!” As Ninja was directing his team where to drop, one of his squadmates said “I was just watching your squad fills the other day!” to which Ninja replied “Let’s go, dude! What are the odds bro!? Let’s get it!” in an effort to pump the squad up with encouragement. Despite Ninja being higher skilled then his squad, they continued to pull through for him the when Fortnite star got knocked down in a close battle. Swooping in, teammate ‘IIINCEPTION’ jumped the person that was about to kill him, and brought the enemy down. “Oh yes, Inception!” Ninja screamed in elation. As he was being revived, his other squadmate continued to hold things down to protect them, before Ninja realized that they had lost a person. “Mr. Devor disconnected!?” he asked, before one of his teammates replied “Yeah, he disconnected about 10 minutes ago.” Already down in numbers, Ninja was shocked when they suffered another blow, after another person also disconnected, leaving only him and IIINCEPTION left to try to bring victory for their squad. “Guapo disconnected too! Bro, I think it might be us as a whole squad!” the Mixer star said in disbelief. Undeterred, the Fortnite pro and his teammate pushed to the end, and they managed to clutch out a victory after an intense battle where they coordinated their attacks together. “Let’s go, bro! Oh man we did it, yo the clutch, GG man! Get it! Have a good rest of your weekend, man! This is what you like to see! Two disconnects, and no problem, man! Me and my boy Inception clutched it, baby!” Ninja screamed in celebration. (Timestamp of 00:35 for mobile viewers.) Ninja promised that he would be doing more of these kinds of videos in future, with the next one being a duos fill.

Ninja makes T-Pain die from laughter after kicking his own wife out of multiplayer game – Dexerto
Ninja makes T-Pain die from laughter after kicking his own wife out of multiplayer game Twitch, T-Pain / NinjaTyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins and his wife Jessica are used to playing video games together, but during a stream featuring rapper T-Pain and fellow Nappy Boy Gaming member BigCheeseKIT, things went to another level. You may know T-Pain for his music, or you may know T-Pain strictly as a gamer and Twitch streamer. Either way, you’re well aware of his high-quality production value and hilarious takes on various topics during his broadcasts. In a September 7 Twitch stream with Ninja and his wife, the rapper brought over Nappy Boy Gaming member BigCheeseKIT to challenge the couple to a few games of Overcooked! 2. Later in the stream, Tyler ‘rage quit’ a match – and his wife wasn’t very happy. Ninja rage quits and makes T-Pain fall off his chair During T-Pain’s stream, you could hear Ninja telling his wife what she needed to do. The game is a co-op cooking game with wacky, self-sabotaging levels. “Hold A to clean the dishes! HOLD THE BUTTON DOWN AND CLEAN THEM!” Ninja yelled, right before he decided to close out of the match and forfeit the game. “Removed by the host? Was that you, Tyler? You f***ing removed me from the game?” Jessica said, humorously annoyed that her husband would do such a thing. While Ninja continued to give reasons for why he would do such a thing, T-Pain and BigCheese were absolutely dying from laughter on their stream. From the Blevins’ side of the broadcast, you can see an apparently frustrated Ninja quickly exit out of the game and start laughing while his wife confronted him. “I think the game just heard me scream and kicked everyone out,” the streamer stated, while his wife explains that they would have won if he hadn’t quit. (check out 9:11:40 in the VOD below) While dealing with a quick outage on Steam, you can hear everyone talk about having a playthrough “next week.” We hope to see more hilarious content from the group sooner than later.

Ninja left speechless after CouRage goes on hilariously epic Fortnite rant – Dexerto
Ninja left speechless after CouRage goes on hilariously epic Fortnite rant CouRage / NinjaTwitch star Tyler ‘Fortnite, but it doesn’t look like he was prepared for the epic rant after fellow streamer Jack ‘CouRage’ Dunlop was thirsted during a Fortnite match. As most players know, “thirsting” in a battle royale means finishing off a downed opponent in the middle of an engagement to prevent them from being revived. CouRage was fighting off two opponents at long-range simultaneously (and winning) when a third player surprised him with a shotgun. After being downed by the incoming foe, Ninja and co were in hot pursuit to save their friend but didn’t make it in time, leading to CouRage’s hilarious breakdown. “I’m actually gonna throw something. The Elite Agent skin came out with no face on it and you literally called out sick to your 3rd grade soccer practice to use it. You got so excited to use the skin, homie. Why are you Solo-squading, your kill record is six. You spend your whole day in 1080×1080 stretched res playgrounds 1v1 build-battling your little brother on your mom’s Kindle so you can feel good about yourself.” (Timestamp at 0:15 for mobile viewers) Though CouRage was only living up to his name in good fun, his final words in the match left Ninja stunned while wondering what the reaction would be if he would have vented in a similar manner. “I was gonna say, ‘imagine if Ninja said that,’’ Ninja joked. “That would be talked about for like ever.” Though thirsting can have some strategic logic to it, it didn’t seem like CouRage was prepared to commend his opponent for getting the best of him.

Ninja left speechless after thinking Fortnite put a Summit1G skin in the game *Updated* – Dexerto
Ninja left speechless after thinking Fortnite put a Summit1G skin in the game *Updated* Top Twitch streamer Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins appeared bemused and somewhat upset when he realized that a new Fortnite skin could be inspired by fellow streamer Summit1G. It has now transpired that the ‘Summit Striker’ skin wasn’t made for Summit1G, but the Twitch streamers brand colors do feature on the skin, as does a large ‘G’ on the characters chest. Added with the obvious link between the name ‘Summit Striker’ and Summit1G, the signs all seem to point at least some inspiration, as DrLupo pointed out to Ninja. Ninja had been rocking the new skin when it released as part of the new starter pack, but hadn’t seemed to realize any possible connection. When DrLupo pointed it out to him, namely that it has a “G” on the chest, Ninja was in disbelief: “no it doesn’t – oh my god, it does. What?”, then reading the description ‘Always first to the top’, he asks “are you serious?” After Ninja goes completely silent, DrLupo asks “do you want to talk about”, which he dismisses with a quick “no”. At this point, Ninja was totally convinced that the skin is in fact inspired by Summit1G, and is unsure how he should react. “Wow. wow. They gave Summit1G a skin in the game. How am I supposed to feel about that?” Although there is certainly a ‘G’ which resembles the font of Summit1G’s logo, Epic Games confirmed that it wasn’t anything to do with the streamer. Summit1G himself hasn’t promoted the skin in anyway or thanked Epic Games for its inclusion, further confirming the lack of link. In fact, Summit1G hasn’t even played Fortnite in some time, and has been playing rival battle royale ‘Blackout’, in Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, instead. Ninja on the other hand has been the front runner in Fortnite streaming really since the beginning of the game’s popularity, and so if there was ever a streamer worthy of their own skin, Ninja’s name would undoubtedly be top of the list. Ninja did however get a pickaxe in the game inspired by him, called the ‘Plunja’, after he jokingly asked for it on stream.

Ninja lashes out at Reverse2k for teasing him over Mixer move – Dexerto
Ninja lashes out at Reverse2k for teasing him over Mixer move Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins and Malachi ‘Reverse2k’ Greiner have butted heads while grinding Fortnite, after the latter sparked the heated exchange by bringing up Mixer as the pair joked about “respect” with Tim ‘TimTheTatman’ Betar. As four of the biggest Fortnite streamers around right now, the squad normally go quite well in-game, and usually pair the battle royale gameplay with a hefty helping of lighthearted and entertaining banter at each other as they play. During their January 2 grind, however, Reverse2k seemed to hit a nerve when he brought Ninja’s move to Mixer into the discussion. Ninja, who moved to Microsoft’s streaming service in August, lashed out, demanding an apology. The four streamers were joking about paying taxes, with TimTheTatman flexing his “decade of streaming” to call for respect from Reverse. Ninja weighed in on Tim’s side, suggesting there was “no reason” to respect younger streamers if they “didn’t have respect for us” – all in jest, of course – until the Mixer star added the youngsters were trying to “take territory.” “Dude, we’re not coming into Mixer,” Reverse fired back, apparently of the opinion he was just adding into the jokes the team had been laughing about. Ninja didn’t exactly see it that way, and snapped, lashing out at the Twitch streamer. “That’s not even funny, you’re trying to make it f***ing personal dude,” Ninja suggested in an annoyed tone. Reverse disagreed, but Ninja wasn’t convinced. “Shut up bro… bringing up the specific platform in this discussion is irrelevant… do it again, I can’t wait,” Ninja replied. “You think you’re so clever!” The Mixer star added that he didn’t see any reason for Reverse to have even touched on his Mixer move. They had been talking taxes, not platforms, and he seemed offended he’d been singled out from the Twitch stars he was playing with. “I will apologize to you right now if you tell me why you said that,” he continued. “Tell me why you brought up Mixer right then. Tell me! You didn’t bring it up for any reason whatever except to try and insult me as if moving here is a bad decision.” “Why did you bring it up?” he added, before repeating the question. The group sat in awkward silence for a moment, continuing to loot in Fortnite, before TimTheTatman interjected with his own thoughts on Reverse’s comments. “I don’t think it’s that deep bro, it was just a bit of playful banter,” he said, clearly attempting to break the tension. Ninja seemed on the warpath though, and added one final barb about Reverse “always bringing up Mixer” before falling silent. The squad of streamers didn’t touch on the topic again as they continued to play, but the damage was already done – Ninja seemed to be silently seething, while the others awkwardly returned to their conversations. The explosive confrontation also seemed to call time on the four playing together for the evening, as they played out a few more games with communications kept to a bare minimum, before some logged off and others changed games. This isn’t the first time recently that Ninja has become embroiled in an argument either, though his tiff with Reverse probably isn’t at the same level as his ongoing feud with Twitch streamer Brett ‘Dakotaz’ Hoffman. Ninja called the Fortnite streamer out for “talking sh*t” about the battle royale, and two have been duking it out on social media ever since. And at the end of the day, while Ninja may get a little defensive over Mixer being brought up by his Twitch teammates, he may have the last laugh. According to reports, he and fellow convert Michael ‘shroud’ Grzesiek are set to make as much as $40 million over the next three to five years, so it’s not like he’s having a bad time with the Microsoft streaming platform, financially at least.

Ninja, Jacksepticeye, and more to co-star in blockbuster Hollywood movie – Dexerto
Ninja, Jacksepticeye, and more to co-star in blockbuster Hollywood movie Red Bull / ArtsHubRyan Reynolds-led comedy action Free Guy is set to tap into the online gaming world for its co-stars, with confirmation Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins, Lannan ‘LazarBeam’ Eacott, and Seán ‘Jacksepticeye’ McLoughlin will be appearing in the upcoming Hollywood film. Stranger Things director Shawn Levy’s recently announced comedic feature is set around the premise of a bank teller (Reynolds) at a bank that’s always being robbed, before realizing that he’s a nonplayable character in the virtual world of a video game. Reynolds and Taika Waititi are confirmed to have starring roles in the video game aspects of the story, the flick’s New York Comic Con panel revealed, while Joe Keery, Utkarsh Ambudkar, and Jodie Comer will be playing dual roles in the real world and as player characters . The gaming world also has its own representatives ready to debut on the silver screen — namely Mixer superstar Ninja, and YouTube content creators Jacksepticeye and LazarBeam. IGN has also suggested Twitch star Imane ‘Pokimane’ Anys could also be included among the cast. While Blevins and Eacott are confirmed to appear as fictional versions of themselves in the production, Reynolds took to Twitter to joke that McLoughlin was “convincing” as arcade character Q*Bert, a statement which made its way to the movie’s Wikipedia listing. “I went full method and sucked on an exhaust pipe for nine weeks to really nail the look,” the popular Irish gaming star replied. The trio of gaming stars took to social media to express their excitement about their involvement after the official announcement, and all thanked the Hollywood producers for the chance to appear on the big screen when the film releases in 2020. “I can finally say that I will have a cameo in Ryan Reynolds’ new movie. You have no idea how excited I am!!” McLoughlin said, while LazarBeam shared a similar sentiment. “I’m appearing in the movie ‘Free Guy’ alongside Ryan Reynolds, Jacksepticeye, and Ninja. I was doing construction five years ago lmao, so f*cking keen,” the Australian star said. Im appearing in the movie ‘FREE GUY’ alongside Ryan Reynolds,@Jack_Septic_Eye and @Ninja I was doing construction 5 years ago lmao so fucking keen pic.twitter.com/LaZPPhkxtK — Lannan (@LazarBeamYT) October 3, 2019 Fans got a taste of what the comedy in Levy’s next release would be like in a ‘Meet the Cast’ promo with Reynolds, Waititi, Keery, and Comer. Comer and Keery commented on their excitement to be involved in the movie, before Reynolds and Waititi acted like they were meeting each other for the very first time, despite both starring in the internationally panned box office disaster Green Lantern. “I’ve been a fan of his for a long time and it’s super cool to finally meet him,” Reynolds said before they were called out by their co-stars, who reminded them they had worked together in 2011 for the DC superhero movie. Both denied the ‘allegations’. “This is the first time we’ve met,” Waititi said. “That’s the cool thing about the industry, it brings people together. We’ve been mutual admirers of each other, from afar, and now to finally have the chance to work together for the first time, ever, in both of our lives, I’m super stoked.” Funnily enough, the announcement comes just a week after Ninja took aim at fellow streamer Jack ‘CouRageJD‘ Dunlop for his movie opinions. Now it seems Hollywood has sided with the Mixer star’s views, considering he’s shot a cameo and Dunlop is nowhere to be seen. Free Guy will be released by Disney and 20th Century Fox on July 3, 2020.

Ninja joined Neymar to watch PSG vs Man Utd match ahead of rumored co-stream – Dexerto
Ninja joined Neymar to watch PSG vs Man Utd match ahead of rumored co-stream Neymar / InstagramTwitch streamer Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins and international football star Neymar were spotted together before the headline match between Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain in a shocking clash of two worlds. Neymar shared his viewing box with Ninja to watch the second leg of the UEFA bout between the two clubs since the Brazilian striker is recovering from a foot injury. Ninja casually indicated that he would be watching the match from the prominent star’s stadium box, but images of the scene quickly went viral. Although the world knows Neymar for his incredible abilities on the pitch, the 27-year-old striker has also made a habit of producing some of the more viral CS:GO and Fortnite clips over the last few months. Neymar’s involvement in the gaming world isn’t subtle. He’s previously played with prominent esports team MiBR and even celebrated a World Cup match win by getting a game of CS:GO with his teammates. :handshake: @neymarjr & @Ninja :video_game: pic.twitter.com/qW4lEMzEki — Paris Saint-Germain (@PSG_English) March 6, 2019 As the face of Twitch, Ninja has met huge names across the entertainment landscape and has even hosted a New Year’s event in Times Square. The star streamer is set to collaborate with former CoD pro ‘Gotaga’ which some might think could set the stage for a surprise appearance by Neymar. Ninja had previously played with Neymar during the New Year’s Eve event. He has played host to many other game nights with star talents such as Drake, Travis Scott, NFL player Juju Smith-Schuster, and much more. Ninja’s Paris trip could be ramping up to another special event between the two celebrities. Although fans should temper their expectations, the meetup could be a tease of sorts for a possible duo stream coming very soon.

Ninja is mind blown by Shroud’s confession about McDonald’s monopoly stickers – Dexerto
Ninja is mind blown by Shroud’s confession about McDonald’s monopoly stickers Popular streamer Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins received a massive shock when fellow Twitch star Michael ‘shroud’ Grzesiek revealed an astonishing truth about McDonalds Monopoly. The pair were streaming Call of Duty’s new battle royale mode, Blackout, when the former Counter-Strike: Global Offensive player began to feel hungry, and decided to eat some McDonald’s food. When Ninja heard that shroud had got some fries from the legendary fast food outlet, Blevins immediately told the Canadian to “peel it back and tell me if you won,” referencing the Monopoly competition currently going on at American chains of McDonald’s, where players peel stickers off items and attempt to match them up to different squares on a Monopoly board. Unfortunately, Grzesiek’s response shook Ninja to his very core, as he replied: “I never peel that that shit back. Never. I don’t think I ever have.” Blevins couldn’t contain his disbelief, shouting “What?” as he tried to understand the information shroud was relaying to him. “You could be the guy who threw away millions of dollars! Are you serious?” Shroud responded: “That will literally never happen. You’ll never win it.” “Your chance of winning is zero if you don’t pull it back. You’re the asshole that’s throwing out Park Place eight times!” raged Ninja. “You’re probably right,” replied shroud. While shroud may have been busy competing at the top level in a number of different esports, it’s still impossible to believe that a cultural phenomenon like McDonalds Monopoly has somehow passed him by. The good news is that you definitely have a slightly higher chance of winning prizes now, as there is absolutely no chance that the Canadian will!
