However, days after that meetup, the NFL pro called out Logan for using his likeness in a poster for promotion and even threatened legal action against him. With a fight agreement nowhere in sight, Paul decided now would be the best time to drop his diss track he has been teasing, and that’s just what he did on February 9. The song, titled “Going Broke,” references Brown’s recent run-ins with the law, features a line about One Direction, and even mentions the time he was knocked unconscious on the field during a game. The three minute and 17-second song mocks Brown’s own song “Whole Lotta Money” with several lines explaining how he’s now going broke. Throughout the video, Paul can be seen wearing a New England Patriots jersey with the number 12, Tom Brady’s number, which would be a reference to the one game Brown played with the team before being dropped. Logan has said time and time again that he would drop Brown faster than the Patriots, and he has not backed away from that statement. Now, we’ll have to wait and see if there’s an official response to the music video. Considering how much dirty laundry the YouTuber was able to air in just one song, it’d be surprising to see this one get ignored. Perhaps this could end up being the spark needed for the two to come to an agreement on the fight. Settling a beef over diss tracks is one thing, but doing so in the ring is another thing entirely.

However, Logan Paul isn’t so sure. In fact, he’s so confident in his chances against Danis that he asked McGregor to pony up $1 million for a bet that he’ll defeat Danis in their boxing match. “If you’re so confident in your boy, I got a bet for you,” Paul said in a video posted to X on August 14. “I’d bet Dillon, but he’s a broke b*tch.” “I got a million dollars that says I beat your boy on October 14. Come on, bro. I know you’re caked up. Let’s see how confident you are. Imagine all the c*ke you can buy, you f*ckin’ drug addict. Two dummies, one night, October 14. I’m f*ckin’ you both up.” It’s clear that Logan is here for Danis’ head in his first boxing match since his exhibition with Floyd Mayweather in 2021. Silva recently said in an interview that taking on Logan was his next goal, and Logan explained why it feels surreal. “The first celebrity I ever met and got a picture with was Anderson Silva. He was so famous, and I was so excited,” he said. “I’m watching this interview, and I’m like, how the f**k is it Anderson Silva’s goal to fight me?” the maverick star added. “Growing up, I wanted to be Anderson Silva. I was like, oh my god, that guy is so badass. I want to fight like him and be famous like him, and now his goal is to fight me?” Logan isn’t the only one to be shocked by the possibility of them fighting. However, the world never expected him to step into the ring against Mayweather either. His performance in that fight was impressive given the disparity in their experience. As a YouTuber, he became one of the biggest names on the platform, before revolutionizing YouTube Boxing with KSI, eventually taking on Floyd Mayweather. He even put out a fairly well-received diss track against NFL star Antonio Brown when they were beefing, but this latest sample of a song of his hasn’t quite been met with the same support, from fans as well as critics. While showing off a portion of the song on the Impaulsive podcast, alongside guest Yung Gravy, Logan was already cringing as he put his phone to the mic to play it, despite Gravy saying it’s “the hardest I’ve ever heard you spit.” The Impaulsive Twitter account followed up with a poll, asking whether they thought the song was “fire” or “trash” — and the final results won’t have made Logan feel much better about it. With over 4,000 votes on the poll, over 76% of voters said it was trash, amounting to over 3,000 people not liking it. The comments weren’t very friendly either, with some users telling him to “delete the tweet” or to “keep it unreleased.” It’s fair to say that Logan probably didn’t have plans to release this track any time soon, but after reading some of those comments, it’s even less likely than it was before.

In comparison, the sub gap between PewDiePie and T-Series was not as great as when Paul deigned to step in, which Pewds made sure to point out in a video on December 9. While Pewds has yet to respond to Paul’s Tweet, fans can expect him to stay true to the promise that he “never made” in light of Paul’s massive donation toward the Kevin and Margaret Hines Foundation, a Swedish charity that aims to normalize the conversation around mental illness and suicide.

The video, titled ‘The Dark Side of Jake Paul,’ entertains the idea that Jake could be a sociopath – among many other YouTubers and celebrities. Logan took issue with this idea, feeling as though Dawson were painting Jake with a wide brush and confusing the terms ‘sociopath’ with ‘psychopath.’ He noted that, while the words sound similar, they reference entirely different mental disorders, and cited his own past controversies as having led him to research their differences. “It is not black and white,” he stated. “99% of the time someone is not [either] a sociopath or not a sociopath.” He preferred the term ‘sociopathic tendencies’ over the label of ‘sociopath,’ and held that many YouTubers could possess said tendencies due to the nature of their industry. “A lot of us – me included – will do some stuff that lacks empathy strictly for views,” he admitted. “It gets us views, which gets us subscribers. Our motivating factor is to reach the next level.” He continually referenced Dawon’s ‘young and impressionable’ audience, and feared that Dawson’s dramatic and fearful use of the term ‘sociopath’ could lead to unfair stigma around those who actually possess sociopathic traits. Paul’s criticisms echo that of many other fans and internet personalities. While he held fast to his opinions, Logan likewise expressed a deep respect for Dawson, and stated that he would even send the YouTuber some of his merchandise near the end of his video response. The third episode of the Jake Paul docuseries, ‘Understanding the Family,’ is set to release on Monday, October 1.

Renowned YouTube vlogger Casey Neistat sat down with Logan, and asked him the hard questions, revolving mainly around his controversy and how he intends to bounce back with the release of a documentary. “The ‘brand’ that I was at the time, was just all around insensitive. And that is the person that I am no longer trying to become and will no longer represent on the vlogs. I’m vegan now, I got a girlfriend who is extremely wise and she helps me grow and be the person I want to become. My content is focused more on positivity and doing what you want to do to achieve your goals.” Neistat appeared to be unconvinced by Paul’s pledges and promises however, and queried him on what exactly he claims to have learnt during his month off from YouTube and social media. “During the month off, it was a lot of talking, meeting, visiting suicide prevention organizations about mental health. Finding out about what it truly is like to have suffered from depression.” Neistat remained somewhat cynical about his claims to have reformed as an individual, but decided to move on to discussion of the fight. Logan talked more excitedly about this, immediately saying “I’mma beat his ass.” “The boxing ‘win’ for me, is showing people that even if you fail, even if you get knocked to the ground, even if you feel you’re at the lowest point of your life, you can get up and do something, and still win. No matter how many people want me to crawl in a hole and die forever, I’m not going to do that. You can fail and still come back.” As for KSI, Logan only had a few words to spare. I have no interest in bantering back and forth, with the someone who is the exact person I am trying not to become. By degrading women, by going after my family in a manner that is intended to harm.
