Lizzo brings young fan on stage to send message to her cyberbullies TikTok: sarahmills_ats1Known for her messages of empowerment, Lizzo has continued her crusade against negativity by inviting a young fan on stage after finding out the girl was being cyberbullied. American singer, songwriter, and actress Melissa Viviane Jefferson, known professionally as ‘Lizzo’, is currently touring Australia, spreading messages of love and fighting back against negativity. While performing a show in Sydney, Lizzo spotted one particular fan amongst the sea of sequins and glitter. Holding up a sign that read “[Please] help me show my haters I’m 100% that b****”, 11-year-old Monroe Mills caught the attention of the singer and was subsequently brought on stage for a “main character moment”. When asked why she needed Lizzo’s help, Monroe heartbreakingly shared that she was a victim of cyberbullying. “I get bullied on social media and they always tell me I’m not good enough,” Monroe said. “Because I like to dance and sing and I want to be like you. I love you.” With the revelation tugging on the audience’s heartstrings, Lizzo didn’t hesitate in inviting Monroe up on stage and giving her a meaningful pep talk. “Monroe, you’re beautiful and talented and incredible and you’re special, and you can do anything and you’re so young. You could be the greatest dancer in the world — you have so much time,” Lizzo said. And the special moment didn’t stop there, with the singer encouraging Monroe to show off a dance on stage. The interaction was filmed by many onlookers and posted to TikTok by Monroe’s mum, Sarah Mills, who gushed about the positive impact Lizzo’s actions had. “Lizzo, you have helped her soul in a way I can’t explain,” Sarah wrote, calling Lizzo the role model that young women need. “In this moment, Monroe felt love like nothing else. No one can tell her now that she isn’t good enough.” Monroe has since gone on to appear in multiple interviews and told Daily Mail Australia that “It was a special moment I will never forget.” We wish Monroe all the best in her future endeavors as she works toward becoming the next big singer and dancer. Jack Harlow. What’s Poppin,” she explained. “I thought it was just a TikTok person, not an artist on a label. I didn’t know that.” (Topic starts at 1:29 in the video) Thanks to this question, Lizzo also learned that she’s label-mates with Jack as they are both signed to Atlantic Records. • Liza Koshy apologizes for mocking Japanese in video with David Dobrik – Dexerto

Liza Koshy apologizes for mocking Japanese in video with David Dobrik Instagram: Liza KoshyFormer vlog squad member Liza Koshy has issued an apology on Twitter, after facing backlash from fans for mocking the Japanese language in videos with David Dobrik. Liza Koshy is a former member of the vlog squad and YouTuber. She shot to fame after she started her Vine account in 2013, and has since established herself as an actress and presenter, as well as a social media star. She has 17.8 million YouTube subscribers and 18.4 million Instagram followers. Liza dated David Dobrik from 2015 to 2018, and the pair still occasionally collaborate. Last week, a video from 2016 resurfaced of Liza and David trying ‘foreign’ candy together where they pretended to speak Japanese. At one point David says: “It’s not racist, that’s like the sounds I hear when they talk,” while Liza adds: “No, it’s not racist as long as I keep saying ‘no’” and responds in that way each time David makes an offensive joke. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X37QfTh_OOo On June 21, a TikTokker uploaded a clip of the video in question captioned: “Why is no one talking about this? It’s a clear example of the normalized racism against Asians.” The clip has 73,000 likes and 1.4 million views and caused some outrage. One user in the comments wrote: “They really filmed that, edited the video, rewatched it, and still thought it was okay to post that???” The TikTok was also shared to Twitter and liked over a thousand times. In a post to Twitter and Instagram, Liza wrote: “While we focus on systemic anti-black racism in our country, I’ve been hesitant to center my voice. My work has been within but I now recognize and take responsibility for the times I was not the ally I am becoming today. Being anti-racist requires a personal reckoning, and I can’t in good faith continue to use my platform for progress without taking accountability myself. “I am taking inventory, taking initiative, and taking note that my impact and influence will weigh greater than my intention. What I once thought of as “innocent jokes” were actually tainted with implicit bias, and what might have been intended as “playful” was actually to some, incredibly painful. And for that, I am so sorry. “As a woman of color and a self-defined “little brown girl.” I have experienced the harm of prejudices in my own life. However, this really does not exempt me from the responsibility of acknowledging the times I’ve unknowingly perpetuated racist ideas… “…It takes a combination of individual and collective reckoning with our past to heal and move forward together. Consider this my resignation from ignorance, and my declaration as an ally in action. I will give grace, make space, and break these damn systems in place like my life depends on it.” David Dobrik is yet to respond to the allegations against him and Liza.

Liz Katz cosplay brings X-Men’s Rogue to life ahead of Dark Phoenix release L: Marvel / R: Twitter – LizKatzOfficialThe X-Men are some of the most recognizable superheroes in the world, and cosplayer Liz Katz has brought Rogue to life with this awesome risqué costume. For the unfamiliar, the X-Men are a group of fictional mutant characters who were born with incredible powers. Rounded up by Professor Xavier to create a super-group, which includes recognizable stars like Wolverine, Mystique and Dark Phoenix. Now, with the release of the Dark Phoenix standalone film on the horizon, Liz Katz has turned her attention to another of the X-Men’s leading ladies, and created an amazing Rogue cosplay. Liz Katz’s incredible Rogue cosplay Rogue is one of the more popular characters from X-Men, and is instantly recognizable thanks to her striking look, especially compared to the other mutant heroes. Katz has shown off her own version of the superhero on Twitter, complete with the outfit that most X-Men comic book fans will imagine when thinking of the character, although not wearing the costume like Katz. The classic yellow and green X-Men suit from the comic books is preferred to the darker navy versions worn in the recent films. The suit has been pulled down to the waist, with the X-Men logo still visible on her right hip, while she adorns the character’s iconic leather jacket. Katz’s attention to detail is clear to see, making sure the white stripe that has become synonymous with Rogue is featured prominently in her hair. Nobody ever wants to hold hands. This was the day I took off the gloves and went Rogue. #xmen pic.twitter.com/2EqbfYZk4U — Liz Katz (@LizKatzOfficial) April 17, 2019 Who is Rogue? In X-Men lore, Rogue was a villain in the Avengers universe, but quickly transitioned into being part of Professor Xavier’s mutant faction. Rogue’s powers allow her to absorb and remove memories, physical strength, and the powers of anyone she touches, something she feels is a curse. Katz referenced the internal struggle that Rogue went through, captioning her tweet: “Nobody ever wants to hold hands. This was the day I took off the gloves and went Rogue” X-Men fans are gearing up for the release of two new additions to the film franchise this year, with Dark Phoenix hitting theatres on June 7, while The New Mutants currently scheduled for an August release, so it’s extremely likely that we will see more incredible X-Men cosplays in the near future.

  • Livvy Dunne takes shots at Breckie Hill with shady TikTok post – Dexerto

Livvy Dunne takes shots at Breckie Hill with shady TikTok post Instagram: livvydunne, breckiehillFamous gymnast Livvy Dunne took shots at rival influencer Breckie Hill with a cheeky repost on TikTok — and fans are so here for this latest chapter in their ongoing feud. Livvy Dunne is a D1 athlete and an extremely popular gymnast for Louisiana State University. She’s famous on social media and has become a veritable “it girl” online. However, not everyone’s a fan of the LSU gymnast superstar. Notably, TikTok star Breckie Hill has struck up a bit of beef with Livvy over the past year — mostly because they look pretty similar. In fact, it’s something that fans can’t help but point out in her comments quite frequently… but it doesn’t look like Breckie likes being compared to Livvy so much. Back in February, Hill notably claimed that Dunne was “such a b*tch” during a YouTube video, and later insinuated that she’d slept with Livvy’s boyfriend during a stream with TikTok star Bryce Hall. Livvy made sure to correct Breckie in a now-deleted comment on TikTok, saying “He don’t know you lil bro,” — and it looks like she’s clapping back at her TikTok rival once again with an extremely cheeky move on social media. Livvy Dunne claps back at Breckie Hill with shady TikTok repost Early in November, eagle-eyed fans noticed that Dunne reposted a video to TikTok from creator ‘chesney.’ In the video, chesney wrote: “When she keeps on copying EVERY SINGLE THING THAT I DO.” Dunne’s repost had fans immediately connecting the dots, assuming that the gymnast was throwing shade toward Breckie Hill, who many critics have accused of copying Livvy over the past year. Although Livvy has since deleted that TikTok from her profile, fans are in full support of her apparent annoyance with Hill, as many commenters are sharing similar sentiments. “How can anyone like Breckie?” one fan wrote on Instagram. “She is a typical mean girl who’s only nice to men and shades women to impress them. I can’t stand girls like that.” “It’s straight up weird,” another said about the situation. “I would be flattered, but there’s a point it gets creepy.” Thus far, it doesn’t look like Breckie has responded to Dunne’s latest move — but we’ll keep you updated right here on Dexerto if she does.

On Monday, July 8, gymnast Livvy Dunne announced to social media that she was ”not Dunne yet” with her gymnastics career at LSU. In a highlight video of her four-year career with LSU, she shared a letter that read, “Dear LSU, these past four years have changed my life. There’s something about putting on a purple & gold leotard. There’s something about competing in front of 13,000 screaming Tiger fans.” “There’s something about being pushed by your coaches to be your very best. And, there’s something about being part of a team that made school history.” “And no matter how many opportunities come my way off the mat, there’s just something about LSU. And that’s why I’m here to say – I’m not Dunne yet.” Dunne, who helped lead the LSU Tigers to an NCAA championship title in April, ended her announcement stating, “Here’s to year 5, baby,” as this upcoming year will be her fifth and final year of eligibility. Fans of Dunne’s couldn’t have been happier to hear her news. Many commented on her post by congratulating her, while others agreed that “real athletes do 5 years.” Though Dunne mentioned how the opportunities she’s been given “off the mat” don’t compare to competing for LSU, she continues to lead her fellow collegiate athletes in having one of the highest-paid NIL deals in college athletics. She even financed ‘The Livvy Fund’ with her earnings. The organization aims to provide LSU female athletes with exclusive industry tips and connections.” Their website also says that ‘The Livvy Fund’ is the “hub for brands and fans to contribute to and support our Lady Tigers.” While she continues to make a difference for college athletes with her fame and high earnings, Dunne will prepare for the last year of competing for the LSU Tigers – an opportunity that she has not taken for granted.

Olivia ‘Livvy’ Dunne is the internet’s current “it-girl” — and she’s got some pretty prominent fans. The blonde-haired social media star is a student and gymnast at Louisiana State University, where she’s garnered so many die-hard fans that security had to be increased during her competitions. She skyrocketed to internet stardom last year and continues to be one of the net’s most prominent athletes… and it looks like other major online personalities are also taking notice of her. Livvy Dunne claims Andrew Tate asked her to “come to Europe” On June 29, Livvy appeared in a podcast with the NELK Boys, a group of notorious internet pranksters who have gone viral for their over-the-top practical jokes many times in the past. During their conversation, the guys asked Livvy about the most famous people who’d slid into her DMs… and she had a shocking answer. Livvy claimed that none other than controversial internet commentator Andrew Tate had taken his shot in her DMs, and even shared what he’d written. According to Livvy, Tate — who is currently under house arrest under suspicion of human trafficking, rape, and organized grime — sent her this message: “Come to Europe dear,” with a rose emoji. When asked if she was a fan of Tate, she gave a short and simple answer: “No.” She also exposed the message in a short clip on her TikTok account, where she appeared to have a less-than-enthused reaction to his apparent attempt at wooing her. For her part, Livvy claims that ever since she became a Sports Illustrated cover model, she’s gotten a lot more attention… but it’s clear that she has high standards for who she’s willing to entertain. According to Romanian prosecutors, Tate and his brother are set to face a trial for the charges against them, which, according to reports, could take a number of years.

  • Livvy Dunne claps back after Breckie Hill hints she hooked up with her boyfriend Paul Skenes – Dexerto

Livvy Dunne claps back after Breckie Hill hints she hooked up with her boyfriend Paul Skenes Instagram: livvydunneLivvy Dunne had the perfect comeback for TikTok star Breckie Hill after Hill insinuated that she’d slept with Livvy’s boyfriend, star MLB prospect Paul Skenes. It’s safe to say that Livvy Dunne is the current “it girl” of social media. On top of being a D1 athlete at Louisiana State University, the gymnast is also famous across many social platforms, boasting a combined 12 million followers across TikTok and Instagram. Recently, hopeful fans across the world had their hearts broken when it was revealed Dunne — who recently graced the cover of Sports Illustrated — was dating Paul Skenes. Skenes — a former LSU college athlete — notably penned a record-breaking contract with the Pittsburgh Pirates for a jaw-dropping $9.2 million in July, making his pairing with famous gymnast Livvy Dunne quite a fitting match. However, not everyone is a fan of this new romance, as TikTok star Breckie Hill appeared to throw some major shade Dunne’s way during an episode of the One Night with Steiny podcast. Breckie Hill hints she slept with Livvy Dunne’s boyfriend During the episode, Steiny and co-host Bryce Hall grilled Breckie about why she was caught wearing Skenes’ Pittsburgh Pirates jersey in a recent TikTok… and she seemed to hint that they’d slept together. “I don’t kiss and tell,” she said in response to their queries. “So you were wearing a jersey, alluding to the fact that you’ve kissed,” Hall asked. “But you’re not gonna tell us if we ask you?” “I’m not alluding to the fact that I’ve kissed. I just won’t — I won’t talk about it on this podcast. …why else would I be wearing his jersey?” (Topic begins at 2:54) Breckie’s attitude caught viewers off-guard, who instantly called out the TikToker for her long-standing, seemingly one-sided beef with Dunne over the past year. However, they didn’t have to come to Dunne’s defense, as the gymnast hit back at Hill with a perfect comeback on TikTok. “He don’t know you lil bro,” she wrote in the comments section of a clip from the podcast. It’s clear that Dunne is totally unbothered by Breckie’s shade, and fans are here for it… but they’re definitely not into her apparent use of Photoshop on her pictures after she was caught touching up her competition photos back in August.

  • Livvy Dunne deletes gym photos after being exposed for photoshop – Dexerto

Livvy Dunne deletes gym photos after being exposed for photoshop Instagram: livvydunneLSU gymnastics star and social media icon Livvy Dunne has deleted a series of photos from her Instagram account after fans noticed she’d seemingly photoshopped them. It’s safe to say that Livvy Dunne is the current “it girl” of social media. The influencer boasts a jaw-dropping 4.3 million followers on Instagram and another 7 million on TikTok, and her popularity has only increased over the years since she first gained viral fame in 2021. On top of her good looks and charm, Livvy is also a division one athlete at Louisiana State University, where she competes in gymnastics. In fact, she’s so popular that she’s had to stop attending classes in person due to “safety” concerns after a horde of fans showed up at one of her competitions. However, having millions of eyes on you at all times can have its downfalls, as seen in the latest drama that took place after she uploaded a few pics to her Instagram account this August. Livvy Dunne exposed for allegedly photoshopping her pictures In mid-August, both Livvy and LSU Gymnastics posted photos of Dunne competing at a recent meet on Instagram — and eagle-eyed fans noticed a key difference between one of the photos on these separate accounts. The photo shows an ecstatic Dunne as she celebrates landing a perfect routine… but the pic on LSUgym’s Instagram shows the athlete with a hard-earned gymnast’s build, complete with toned shoulders and an inverted-triangle type body frame. It looks like Livvy altered the photo before uploading it to her own Instagram account, seemingly photoshopping her shoulders and torso to be smaller in comparison to the original picture. Fans were quick to notice this discrepancy and took to the comments section to voice their confusion and displeasure. “Stop photoshopping,” one user wrote on her most recent post. “You’re ruining the future. And realistic standards. C’mon.” “Yas, photoshop queen,” another mocked. Both Dunne and the LSU Gymnastics Instagram have deleted the photos from their accounts — but now, more fans are pointing out possible Photoshop being used in a few of her other pictures, with some noticing that her hair or the scenery around her appears to be warped from possibly using tools like FaceTune. Thus far, Dunne has yet to publish an official response to the outrage over her apparent use of photoshop, but we’ll be sure to keep you updated right here on Dexerto when, or if, she does.

  • Livvy Dunne accuses TikTok of “shadow banning” her as views plummet – Dexerto

Livvy Dunne accuses TikTok of “shadow banning” her as views plummet Instagram: livvydunneGymnast and social media star Livvy Dunne has accused TikTok of “shadow banning” her account after noticing her views starting to plummet on the platform. Olivia ‘Livvy’ Dunne is a D1 athlete and gymnast for Louisiana State University who has risen to social media fame over the last few years. In fact, she’s the most-followed NCAA athlete on social media, boasting over 7 million followers on TikTok and over 4 million on Instagram. However, the gymnast noticed that her views on a certain social media platform were getting far lower than they usually are — prompting her to call out the site in a pointed comment. Livvy Dunne questions TikTok shadow ban after views take a hit Out of all her social media accounts, her TikTok profile is the most popular. Usually, Dunne’s short-form videos on the app rack up millions of views each… but her most recent uploads are struggling in comparison. Starting at the beginning of December, Dunne’s views plummeted from in the low millions to around the 500K mark, a massive drop from her usual viewership. Seeming to notice this trend, Dunne asked if the site had shadow banned her in a comment on one of her videos. “Why am I shadow banned?” she wrote. A few fans responded to her comment, with one user speculating that she must be, since her “posts never show in my fyp anymore.” Shadow banning refers to when a social media platform or website doesn’t outright ban an account, but merely suppresses that account’s reach from entering the algorithm or being recommended to other users. It’s impossible to know if Dunne was really shadow banned on TikTok or not, but it is a common occurrence on many social media sites. For now, it looks like both Dunne and her many fans are left in the dark as to why her views are so low.

LiveXLive sued over YouTubers vs. TikTokers pay dispute Unsplash: Bogdan Yukhymchuk / LiveXLiveStreaming platform LiveXLive is being sued by Simply Greatness Productions, who reportedly operate Social Gloves, amid an ongoing pay dispute following the Battle of the Platforms boxing event. The June 12 Battle of the Platforms event at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami was one to remember for many fans, with top influencers from both YouTube and TikTok stepping into the ring to find out once and for all who the better platform is. The event was a huge talking point on social media, but things quickly turned sour when weeks after the event several fighters and artists revealed that they had yet to be paid. It was then reported that the event massively overestimated how many PPV sales they would achieve, with some alleging they only made 136,000 out of the predicted 500,000. The event was run by Social Gloves, a promotion company responsible for organizing the event, in partnership with LiveXLive, the live stream partner that collected ticket money, according to the ACE Family’s Austin McBroom who participated in the headline fight of the event. It has previously been alleged that McBroom owns Social Gloves, as the trademark is owned by Ace Hat Collection Inc, the CEO of which is listed as Austin McBroom. Social Gloves is reportedly operated by Delaware-registered company Simply Greatness Productions (SGP.) SGP sues LiveXLive The conflict finally reached boiling point on July 21 when SGP filed a lawsuit against LiveXLive after allegedly failing to turn over the proceeds of the event. A Social Gloves representative said: “LiveXLive demand that SGP provide a release of all claims before turning over any the Event’s proceeds arouses deeply-held suspicions regarding the Event’s actual performance. LiveXLive’s refusal to release a single penny of the Event’s proceeds — even when SGP requested that it pay the fighters directly — demonstrates that it has no regard for the individuals who made the Event an unprecedented success.” Simply Greatness Production… by Dave Brooks They went on to say: “Given LXL’s actions, SGP has no choice but to request that the Court intervene, pry the funds from LiveXLive’s clutches and pay those owed amounts, including the fighters. SGP looks forward to receiving full transparency, and to getting the fighters and talent paid.” Read More: Amouranth reveals crazy encounter with fan – Documents regarding the lawsuit list breach of contract, fraudulent inducement, and accounting as some of the complaints. • LiveXLive $100 million lawsuit claims working with Austin McBroom was “chaos” – Dexerto

LiveXLive $100 million lawsuit claims working with Austin McBroom was “chaos” Austin McBroom/LiveXLiveLiveXLive’s $100 million lawsuit against Austin McBroom officially made headlines at the end of July, and according to new details, things might not be looking good for the ACE Family patriarch. To break it down: On July 21, event organizers Simply Greatness Productions (SGP), who were behind Social Gloves, filed a lawsuit against streaming partner LiveXLive, claiming that the company failed to turn over proceeds from the event. McBroom isn’t technically affiliated with SGP — on paper — but, his company Ace Hat Collection does own the “Social Gloves” trademark. A few days later on July 24, LiveXLive responded with a $100 million lawsuit of their own, and new details from the court documents seem to claim McBroom and SGP were “in chaos” from the start. In order to avoid sifting through pages of legal documents, YouTuber Spencer Cornelia put out a video explaining the issues LiveXLive seems to have had with McBroom from practically the very beginning. Cornelia, who’s covered this litigation saga since the first lawsuit was filed, doesn’t think things are looking too good for the social media star, based on LiveXLive’s counter suit. According to documents from LiveXLive’s attorneys, SGP’s handling of the Social Gloves event was “in chaos” almost from the start, with SGP “scrambling” to locate a new venue just three months before the event after MGM backed out of the deal. “Austin was saved by LiveXLive numerous times throughout the planning of this event,” Cornelia explained, before going on to quote LiveXLive’s lawyers saying, “The financial compensation promised to some of the fighters [by SGP] was senseless.” Cornelia goes over practically every facet of this case, and what seems like every single jab LiveXLive’s lawyers included against SGP and McBroom, as well. We couldn’t begin to cover everything they talk about in this story without another 1000 words, but the video is definitely worth a full watch to see everything that happened behind the curtains of the Social Gloves event – at least according to one side. We can’t predict how the ongoing court cases will play out, with LiveXLive suing McBroom, and McBroom suing LiveXLive. But we will update you with the latest details as they happen and the lawsuits play out.

LiveXLive announces “all female” influencer boxing event with Jordyn Jones, Isabelle Avila & more Twitter, @LiveXLive / Instagram, @JordynJones, @onlyjayusLiveXLive has officially announced an “all female” influencer boxing event in wake of the YouTubers vs TikTokers card earlier this month — but it’s drawing mixed responses. The boxing bug has officially taken hold of social media. Thanks to names like Logan Paul, Jake Paul and KSI, a slew of high-profile internet stars are itching to throw down in the boxing ring. After the YouTubers vs TikTokers boxing event on June 12, several female influencers on TikTok uploaded videos expressing a desire to start boxing… and one of them already had an opponent in mind. This prompted someone to create a fake poster for an all-female fight card, which quickly began making the rounds online — and now, it looks like one organization has decided to make it a reality. It will feature influencers Jordyn Jones, Isabelle Avila, Demi Bagby, and Salah Brooks, all multi-faceted content creators with millions of followers each. The event will also feature some male personalities, although it’s unclear what their role in the production will be. TikTokers Mattie Westbrouk and VasHalastaras are set to make an appearance, drawing some confusion from commenters. View this post on Instagram In their announcement posts, LiveXLive asked users to suggest who they’d like to see on the card, and so far, fans aren’t holding back from their own ideas… but others are a bit befuddled about the initial lineup. Many comments have admitted that they don’t know who the current influencers are, while others claim that “no one asked for this.” That being said, there’s certainly some hype for names like Cynthia Parker and Mads Lewis, who both claimed they’d be down to box. For now, all fans can do is watch and wait to see if their favorite female TikTokers will get a chance to settle their grudges with gloves on.

Liver King made the central point of many of his videos the raw meats he consumed, displaying massive portions of liver, testicles, kidneys, and hearts. Their case claims that the diet is quite unsustainable, and the consumers would then need to buy the supplements Johnson was selling, according to the lawsuit. Altomare’s case also alleges he and other buyers wouldn’t have bought the products had it been revealed Johnson was on steroids the entire time.

Liver King promises to “tell all” after steroid use exposed Instagram: LiverkingAfter being exposed for using steroids, social media star Liver King promises to come clean and publicly share the details of what exactly happened. The fitness industry is full of gurus who claim to be ‘natty’ — natural. Though many use performance enhancers, the “all-natural” fitness label helps the influencers market whatever image or product they are attempting to sell. On November 30, popular Instagram fitness coach Brian Johnson, also known as the Liver King, was exposed for supposedly taking steroids. A leaked email showed his current cycle of fitness enhancement drugs, totaling over $10,000 worth of anabolic steroids per month. In the email, the Liver King wrote “In a weird way, I’m grateful for the recent events that have shed light on this complicated-as-f**k topic.” According to the Daily Dot, he wants a platform or podcast to “openly discuss this opportunity — to be better.” “I couldn’t be more grateful for some of the guys sitting on the couch making reaction videos, surfacing new information that’s going to lead to some god-damn good discussions,” he said in the email to Daily Dot. It’s unclear what the future holds for Liver King at this moment. The future conversation, where he openly discusses performance enhancement drugs, could become a watershed moment for the fitness industry. But this could very well impact his business model and product sales. Despite reportedly emailing the Daily Dot with intent to openly discuss the incident, Liver King may still choose to continue denying the allegations, as many other fitness gurus have done in the past.

It was even reported that he was being sued for $25 million dollars over “deceiving” customers with his steroid use, due to fabricating the fitness benefits of his natural lifestyle. Following the scandal, Liver King has admitted that although he went 220 days without using performance-enhancing drugs, he has revealed he is back to using steroids. Liver King admits to taking steroids again In a video posted to his YouTube account on September 1, Brian spoke about his journey from the beginning, all the way up to why he is using steroids again. He shared his opinions and experience of not taking the drugs for 220 days: “I don’t like the idea of losing over 20 pounds of muscle. I don’t like the idea that became the reality of losing a lot of strength.” Ultimately, this led him to retake steroids again: “I have decided to go back on it, I am taking testosterone. It’s a cream. I do three clicks of it a day. I’m also doing a growth hormone.” Liver King announced he is going to use steroids and performance-enhancing drugs going forwards, as he promoted using “technology” in regards to performance enhancing drugs and pairing this with his more natural “ancestral lifestyle”. In regards to the previous scandal, he said: “The commitment that I made to my boys, to my family, to all the primals out there, is I would never lie again.” Liver King previously confessed in an apology video stating he did infact use steroids, admitting he lied.

Liver King confirms steroid use in apology video: “I lied” YouTube: Liver KingAfter denying using steroids for months, Liver King has admitted that he is currently and has in the past been on steroids, revealing the details in a brand new apology video. Because I lied and I misled a lot of people,” began Liver King “Before social media I was rich and anonymous and after social media I’m still rich but no longer anonymous and I never expected this kind of exposure in the public eye. It’s been tricky as f**k to navigate…Clearly, I did it wrong and I’m here now to set the record straight. Yes, I’ve done steroids and yes, I am on steroids monitored and managed by trained hormone clinicians.” Johnson goes on to add that, “Liver King the public figure was an experiment to spread a message.” That messaging being to raise awareness for the high suicide rates that plague the world in relation to young men who struggle with depression and “low motivation.” “I’ve been on several podcasts and when asked if I’ve ever taken steroids I’ve always said no, I don’t touch the stuff, not gonna stuff the stuff never gonna touch the stuff. That was a lie.” And when explaining why he took so long to admit the truth, Live King chose to take accountability rather than make excuses. “I continually dismissed it and dug myself into a bigger and deeper hole. I have only myself to blame. I did that and it was all wrong. I will be better, I will talk about it openly…I’m as sorry as a man can be and all I can do is take extreme ownership right now, be better and lead myself to a better life as a better human.”

Her father tried to convince her otherwise, saying: “No, not dog shit, The Doc,” but the child wasn’t interested, stating: “No it’s not!” “No, it says The Doc,” said an exasperated Dr DisRespect, pretending to be upset by the clip. “It says The Doc! You knock it off, you hurt my feelings!” While The Doc is acting like this hilarious banter annoys him, the popular streamer has been using it to promote his new line of shaker cups, playing clips like this and regularly responding to comments about it. However, we’re willing to bet that the G FUEL design team will be testing out what the design looks like flipped before they release the next Dr Disrespect shaker cup!

  • LIVE: PewDiePie vs T-Series real-time YouTube subscriber counts – Dexerto

LIVE: PewDiePie vs T-Series real-time YouTube subscriber counts Felix PewDiePie Kjellberg enjoyed a long and dominant reign as YouTube’s king of content, but these days he often finds himself chasing T-Series in the subscriber battle. The Swede has pulled out all of the stops in his attempts to keep hold of his crown, including guest appearances from Tesla CEO Elon Musk and Jimmy ‘MrBeast’ Donaldson in his Meme Review videos, as well as a to one of the games that put him on the map, Minecraft – all efforts to fend off the Indian production company. Competition between the two accounts has been fierce and entertaining, that’s for sure. Pewds even released a ‘bitch lasagna’ diss track to roast T-Series in October of 2018 as the race began to heat up. PewDiePie will be hoping his ever-growing fanbase can keep him in the contest. However, while he was talking from the top of the YouTube mountain at that stage, things have tilted somewhat in his rival’s favor in 2019. The subscriber counts are changing all of the time, with with T-Series and PewDiePie enjoying stints at the top. At one point, T-Series took a lead of 30,000 over the Swede, but somehow he produced a miraculous turnaround to reclaim the throne. PewDiePie vs T-Series: Live subscriber counts and sub gap Below, you can watch the subscriber counts live and uninterrupted as the two behemoths of YouTube do battle. T-Series seems to be pulling away, with a lead of over 40,000 subscribers as of March 28. PewDiePie vs. T-Series: The Milestones The numbers are ever-changing and the shifts vary from large to small, but it’s PewDiePie who dominates the major milestones in the battle at the very top of YouTube. To show just how quickly things are moving in the race, the content creator was the first to 70 million subscribers in November 2018, and by February of 2019, he’d reached over 87 million with a lead of 115,000 subs. PewDiePie bettered that number with 88 million, but that didn’t come without a battle – as T-Series took a 30,000 subscriber lead during the time, as mentioned earlier. Despite eclipsing 91 million subs and achieving so many milestones, though, PewDiePie’s fans are still having to eagerly monitor the gap between the two – which is a credit to T-Series’ constant growth. Live sub counts have uncovered some astonishing leads, as well as turnarounds so far, and that’s not expected to end any time soon as the pair chase the next set of milestones on the platform. The battle between PewDiePie and T-Series has been rolling on for quite some time. Who will come out on top… PewDiePie or T-Series? It’s been a battle between two fanbases. On one hand, PewDiePie, his content creating friends and his fans have been doing everything they can to boost the YouTuber’s numbers. T-Series have been pushing hard themselves, though, by trying to enlist as many people from India as possible to back their video production channel and attempt to bring Pewds’ reign at the very top to an end. The sheer number of videos posted by T-Series each day also make it difficult for PewDiePie to compete. With the leadership changing from day to day, and both channels rolling with the punches, it’s difficult to say who will prevail. Many pundits believe that Pewds is simply delaying the inevitable, but the Swedish star is determined to beat T-Series to 100 million subs before he gives in. All we can do is strap in and enjoy the ride. After holding off T-Series for a while, PewDiePie is pretty much consistently behind in subs but he surely has some more tricks up his sleeve.

  • Little Caesars’ new corncob pizza crust has the internet split – Dexerto

Little Caesars’ new corncob pizza crust has the internet split Twitter: Little CaesarsLittle Caesars has just revealed a new pizza that uses corn on the cob as its crust, and Twitter users don’t know how to feel about it. Over the last few decades, Little Caesars has remained one of the most popular pizza chains in the world thanks to its famous “hot and ready” options that allow customers to grab food quickly. They’re also known for their interesting pizza crust options, with pretzel and hotdog crusts being the most popular options. On March 21, 2023, the company revealed a new crust that incorporates corn on the cob on the outsides — and fans aren’t sure how to feel about it. Little Caesars’ new crust splits the internet In just two hours after posting, the Little Caesars corncob crust announcement video has been viewed almost 30,000 times with plenty of fans interacting with it. “Introducing Corncob Crust from Little Caesars! You’re Welcome, America,” it reads. The video shows pizza surrounded by full-size corn cobs, covered with butter, and comes with a two-liter bottle of liquified butter. Fans of the company were quick to flood the comments with their thoughts, with many mentioning the upcoming April Fools holiday. One user replied: “It’s still 2 weeks from April fools unless I’ve time traveled?” “April Fool is next Saturday…way too early hahaha,” another replied. While others genuinely want to try the absurd pizza crust option. “This is the greatest thing to happen in the entirety of US history,” one user commented. Another said: “Ok I know this is a joke, but I genuinely want to try this.” TikTokers apparently have Little Caesars’ Corncob pizza While many are still convinced that the Little Caesars Corncob pizza is just an early April Fool’s day joke, it appears that the company has secured a few paid partnership videos with creators on TikTok. Uploaded on March 22, TikToker how.kev.eats posted a video of him trying out the corncob pizza, explaining that it tastes like cornbread and does in fact come with the two liter of butter although he never showed it on camera. With a flurry of fans asking the pizza company to release the joke item, we’ll have to wait to see if it ever happens. If it does, it wouldn’t be the first time an April Fools joke turned in a proper release.

  • LIRIK explains why he was temporarily banned on Twitch – Dexerto

LIRIK explains why he was temporarily banned on Twitch LIRIKPopular streamer Saqib ‘LIRIK’ Zahid has revealed the reason he received a temporary Twitch ban on June 4, even thanking the streaming platform for resolving the issue so speedily. LIRIK is one of Twitch’s most popular personalities, boasting over two million followers on the acclaimed streaming platform alone. His content includes play-throughs of popular titles like Half-Life, to more casual multiplayer games like Call of Duty, and the ever-growing Escape from Tarkov. However, on June 4, some fans became confused when news broke of a ban to LIRIK’s channel, usually incurred for a breach of Twitch’s terms and conditions. The ban only lasted 42 minutes, but it was enough for fans to speculate what the American streamer had done to incur the punishment. Thankfully, LIRIK himself was on hand to explain the situation, stating that a video was briefly shown that was not meant to be. “During the latest Lirik & Chill there was a video shown that should have not been shown on stream,” he tweeted. “It must have slipped through mod approve/deny. I apologize! Everything is resolved now. Thank you Twitch for working so fast!” During the latest Lirik & Chill there was a video shown that should have not been shown on stream. It must have slipped through mod approve/deny. I apologize! Everything is resolved now. Thank you @twitch for working so fast ! https://t.co/3PWAEJfDHC — Lirik (@LIRIK) June 5, 2020 The length of the ban creators receive is often related to the severity of their guideline breach, as well as the context surrounding the issue. Given the fact the incident appears to have been an accident, it is no surprise that the ban as quickly overturned and LIRIK’s channel was returned to its normal state. Past infringements are also taken into account when punishments are being handed out. As this constitutes LIRIK’s first and only ban, there was no real reason for Twitch to make it either serious or lengthy. Twitch themselves do not comment on punishments handed to streamers, or breaches of their streaming guidelines.

  • LIRIK, TimTheTatman and DrLupo announce new “multi-million” Twitch deals – Dexerto

LIRIK, TimTheTatman and DrLupo announce new “multi-million” Twitch deals Three of Twitch’s biggest streamers have recommitted to the Amazon-owned platform with new exclusive deals, amid a turbulent time for the website which has lost some of it’s other top stars to rival streaming sites, as reported by esports consultant Rod “Slasher” Breslau. Two of the three most-followed channels on Twitch, Ninja and Shroud, both left to join Mixer earlier in 2019, Microsoft’s rival platform which aims to dethrone Twitch, or at the very least, loosen it’s monopoly-like grip. Similarly, other big names like CouRage and Disguised Toast have left to stream exclusively on YouTube and Facebook respectively. Combined with more departures to Mixer from King Gothalion and Ewok, Twitch will know it needs to take action. In a positive move, three massive names and veteran streamers on the Twitch platform, Saqib ‘LIRIK’ Zahid, Tim ‘TimTheTatman’ Betar and Ben ‘DrLupo’ Lupo have all recommitted to multi-year deals. These were three names surrounded in speculation that they could be tempted away by rival platforms, with all of them boasting a combined follower count of upwards of 10 million. DrLupo explained that not only would staying with Twitch help make it easier for his fans to stay up to date with him, but also ensure “financial security” for his family, by “securing the bag.” LIRIK is best known as a ‘variety streamer’, and one of the very early broadcasters on the platform. TimTheTatman and DrLupo also stream a variety of games, but benefitted most from the explosion of Fortnite, which boosted all of Twitch viewership. https://twitter.com/LIRIK/status/1204461955932663811 I have an announcement… pic.twitter.com/2B9xhWdl7l — timthetatman👑 (@timthetatman) December 10, 2019 The three are all represented by the same talent agency, Loaded, who also represent Ninja and Shroud, and countless other big-name streamers. This talent agency is believed to be part of securing these deals with various platforms, according to Slasher, they can amount to multimillion-dollar contracts. Loaded, the agency representing nearly all of the top streamers in the world including Ninja, shroud, CouRage, timthetatman, DrLupo, and LIRIK, continues to bring in multi-million dollar contract deals for all of their top clients — Rod Breslau (@Slasher) December 10, 2019 Perhaps the increased competition coming from Mixer and YouTube, and even Facebook Live, has prompted Twitch to think more carefully about how they attract and retain popular talents. Having streamers with millions of fans is crucial for any platform that wants to engage those fans, and the moves have so far been a success for Mixer, with two of the biggest names undoubtedly pulling in new users. However, Twitch would argue it still remains in pole position for aspiring streamers, with its established userbase for livestream content. YouTube is, of course, more popular for VOD content, but its continued efforts to expand in livestreaming is perhaps the biggest threat to Twitch’s dominance.

  • LIRIK explains why WoW Classic backstabs are so satisfying, instantly regrets it – Dexerto

LIRIK explains why WoW Classic backstabs are so satisfying, instantly regrets it Top Twitch streamer Saqib ‘LIRIK‘ Zahid left fans with a hilarious-timed WoW Classic death as he predicted his own demise with comedic precision. Since its release on August 26, World of Warcraft Classic has taken over Twitch, with a number of top streamers ditching their normal games in favor of reliving years gone by in a nostalgia-filled setting. One such streamer is LIRIK, who has over 2.4 million followers on the platform, and he can regularly be found playing a wide variety of titles. Yet, it’s WoW that has taken his fancy and allowed his viewers to witness some hysterical moments already that he has prompted with his perfectly timed comments. During his August 28 stream, LIRIK had been running around and away from another player who was seemingly following him. The streamer managed to ditch them when he sat down on the side of a hill and began eating some food to quell his hunger. As he sat defenselessly, LIRIK noted that getting a backstab on a player in his state would be pretty easy. “You know, I will say, for stealth, finding someone sitting down and getting that chunky backstab on them is very satisfying.” His timing was impeccable, though, as another player immediately jumped on top of him and killed the streamer, leaving him back in the graveyard. “Oh fuck me dude! This is what I’m talking about, you see, very satisfying,” he hilariously added, before trying to run back to the spot of his death. Of course, the hilarity of LIRIK’s timing prompted plenty of laughter spam in his chat, and even helped the clip go viral – with over 66,000 views at the time of writing. The death hasn’t swayed LIRIK away from WoW Classic, as he has continued to stream the uber-popular release from Blizzard. Just how long it stays on top of the Twitch charts remains to be seen, but with the potential for equally, if not more, hilarious moments like LIRIK’s death, it should stick around for a while longer yet.

  • LIRIK left speechless after crossing paths with crazed DayZ player – Dexerto

LIRIK left speechless after crossing paths with crazed DayZ player One of the most popular streamers on Twitch, Saqib ‘LIRIK‘ Zahid has been jumping back into the world of DayZ lately, and this particular incident with a rabid player might take the cake for the most amusing encounter in recent memory. It’s never a challenge finding weird and wacky players in the survival game genre, especially in Bohemia Interactive’s DayZ where players can form alliances to survive the dystopian locale. Twitch star LIRIK is no stranger to amusing situations in DayZ, from surprisingly escaping a hostage scenario, to embarrassingly wiping himself out, the streamer has seen and done a great deal in the survival game, yet this insane encounter still caught him off-guard. In an October 16 broadcast, LIRIK happened upon a crazed player threatening to jump from the roof of a tall building for no apparent reason other than shock value. Read more: HighDistortion explains why he left TSM – “We can work this sh*t out, we can work this out man,” the streamer pleaded, buying into the antics and trying to prevent an unnecessary death in the often unforgiving survival game. 600Randomly shooting down a stranger and scurrying away, the insane gamer, clearly amping things up a notch, broke out into a deranged laughter that just couldn’t be ignored. “Woo baby!” he then screamed, before taking out another player with a single shot and subsequently launching himself off of the roof. Momentarily downed from the plummet but somehow still in one piece, the fleeing lunatic was soon picked off with one clean shot from LIRIK who continued to just stare at the now lifeless body, trying to digest what he’d just witnessed. From the rapid eliminations to the baffling laughter, there was nothing ordinary about this amusing scenario. The streamer only had to fire a single shot to end the antics for good. Who knows where this crazed gamer will show up next, it could be in another DayZ stream down the line or it could be a different hardcore survival game entirely. If you hear maniacal laughter in the distance, just be sure to watch out for a wild temperament that could see you eliminated at the drop of a hat.

  • LIRIK stops Rust player from killing him with hilarious bait prank – Dexerto

LIRIK stops Rust player from killing him with hilarious bait prank Popular Twitch streamer Saqib ‘LIRIK‘ Zahid got himself out of a tense situation when he talked a stranger in Rust down from killing him with the perfect bait and switch. Rust originally released on PC in 2013, and was developed by Facepunch Studios. The multiplayer survival title is infamous for its chaotic nature, and being a display of humanity’s worst traits. Twitch star LIRIK became a example of this during his December 29 broadcast when he turned the tables on a stranger who jumped him at gunpoint, and pulled off an epic bait. The popular streamer was in the middle of a Rust broadcast, when a stranger approached him from the left side and then pulled out their crossbow to hold him up. “Hey, what up dude!” LIRIK exclaimed as the enemy focused his weapon on him. “Don’t do that thing where you just shoot. Don’t do that thing, bro. Just don’t. F**king don’t. Alright man,” he told the player. Still trying to convince the stranger to lower his weapon he said, “Don’t do it man, don’t follow the f**king vicious cycle. It’s not f**king worth it, dude. It’s not worth it.” “Put it down, put it down,” the Twitch star said, as he got closer to the player. “Put it the f**k down.” Then miraculously, his attacker unequipped his crossbow and threw it on the floor, seemingly moved by the streamer’s speech about peace. “Thank you, man. Thank you… B*tch!” LIRIK exclaimed as he pulled out his own crossbow on his now defenseless opponent after hilariously baiting him to drop his weapon. Turning the tables on his foe, he then zoomed in his crosshair on him and yelled “F**k you!” before shooting him square in the head, and looting his body of everything he had, embodying the true spirit of Rust. LIRIK continues to crush it, amassing over 2.5 million followers to his channel as of the time of this article, and consistently pulling in 22,000 viewers a broadcast. The popular streamer also announced in December that he had signed a deal with Twitch to stay on their platform in what is reported to be a multi-million dollar deal the Amazon-owned company made with their top streamers.

  • Lirik snaps at Epic Games after his Epic account is hacked – Dexerto

Lirik snaps at Epic Games after his Epic account is hacked Twitch streamer Saqib ‘Lirik‘ Zahid didn’t hold back against Epic Games after saying his account was hacked by Russians. There has been a lot of bad blood between gamers and Epic Games after Epic launched a store to compete with Valve’s Steam storefront. Many point to the supposed weak security with Epic Games’ store but now those looking for more fodder have more evidence to back up those claims. Popular variety streamer Lirik said on his April 16 stream that his Epic Games account was hacked by someone in Russia. Lirik blasted Epic Games security after his account was hacked “My Epic account got hacked or some shit,” he said on his stream in a profanity-laced rant. “Epic’s reset password shit sucks so much dick and for some reason, I tried it last night but I can’t put my fuckin’ email in.” Lirik is usually mild-mannered on his stream but it looks like this particular situation set him off more than usual. “Apparently, I’m fucked, uhhhhh yeah,” he said. It’s worth mentioned he did not have two-factor authentication, something he mentions at the end of the clip. Epic Games says they take security seriously Going back as far as August 2018, Epic Games encourage players to enable two-factor authentication on their accounts to keep their Fortnite accounts safe and secure. This dates back before the launch of the Epic Games Store so now it is more important than ever to have. While having it doesn’t automatically secure your account’s safety, it certainly helps more than not having it. There is a portion of the Epic Games website dedicated to the security of their services. Players are asked to report any vulnerability they find directly to Epic Games. Despite all of this, there is still a select subset of fans who don’t trust Epic Games with their payment information.

  • LIRIK speechless after embarrassing VR fail in Half-Life: Alyx – Dexerto

LIRIK speechless after embarrassing VR fail in Half-Life: Alyx Twitch/LIRIK/ValveTwitch star Saqib ‘LIRIK’ Zahid was frustrated and annoyed after spending a few minutes figuring out how to open a door in Half-Life: Alyx. The VR player was able to take out a bunch of enemies in a room with an explosive, but inadvertently caused one of his foes to get stuck against a wall – or so he thought. After grabbing hold of the lifeless corpse, the streamer had difficulty moving the body as it rested against the door he had to get through to advance. “Dude?” he sighed at the non-playable character. “Holy sh*t, he’s stuck. Dude? Dude?” First, LIRIK tried grabbing hold of the arms but had no luck. Then he tried the legs, but still, he couldn’t move the literal dead weight. Eventually, he grabbed the door handle causing it to become ajar with a tiny bit of room. “I think I can fit through,” he said. However, try as he might, the streamer still found himself stuck inside the lifeless apartment and the frustration began settling in: “What the f**k?! Move!” With his options seemingly exhausted, Zahid resorted to checking his chat for any solutions but didn’t like what he saw. “Teleport? Try jumping?” he read, baffled by his viewers’ ideas, before having a bit of an epiphany. “Chat, this is how you do it!” The streamer then confidently tried to use another explosive to blast the corpse away, assuming there was no way it couldn’t work. However, while the door becamse slightly more ajar than before, he still couldn’t get through. In fact, now the door was even harder to open than before: “That actually made it worse! What the f**k? Dude! Get the f**k out.” Once again, he grabbed hold of the body, desperately trying to get it away from the door, but it was no use. Just when it seemed like he was about to give up, LIRIK tried the door handle again and realized he had been opening it the wrong way the whole time. “Does it open the other way?” he paused. “It opens the other way, okay.” Embarrassed, the streamer was finally able to leave the room and let out a deep sigh: “I swear, I don’t know; chat, it opens the other way.” While LIRIK’s experience with Half-Life: Alyx was a bit confusing, to say the least, pretty much everyone’s been enjoying it, with the game getting glowing reviews and currently featuring a score of 92% on Metacritic.

  • LIRIK ruins intense Jedi: Fallen Order scene with awful Star Wars knowledge – Dexerto

LIRIK ruins intense Jedi: Fallen Order scene with awful Star Wars knowledge Twitch star Saqib ‘LIRIK’ Zahid’s Star Wars knowledge failed him during a tense Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order moment. LIRIK is one of the biggest Twitch streamers in the world. He became incredibly popular thanks to his entertaining commentary and variety streams, where users can find him playing just about any type of game. Whenever a hyped-up game releases, the American will be playing it on stream. It was no different for one of the most anticipated games of November, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. When taking on this new game LIRIK showed that his knowledge of the Star Wars universe is somewhat lacking with an amusing fail. The streamer was wrapping up his playthrough of the game on November 18 when he ran into the game’s most infamous villain, Darth Vader. He was understandably shocked when the villain made his unexpected entrance and said: “Woah… what the f***? Darth Maul?!” Hilariously getting the name wrong and sending his chat into a laughing frenzy. Laughing and face-palming emojis filled the chat as some fans absolutely lost it over the wrong name. Meanwhile, LIRIK didn’t even notice his mistake and continued playing. He seemed stunned by the game and its cinematics, so it’s possible he didn’t even realize what he had said. At one point, he even wanted to join the dark side, however, if Vader had heard what he said, it’s unlikely he’d be allowed in. The game reached its conclusion not long after, meaning that LIRIK was unable to make a similar mistake soon after his first gaffe. Although, as the streamer continues to stream a variety of new games, he will probably make another hilarious mistake sooner or later. In the meantime, his viewers probably won’t let him forget about this one.

  • LIRIK slyly roasts xQc fans during Resident Evil Village playthrough – Dexerto

LIRIK slyly roasts xQc fans during Resident Evil Village playthrough Twitch: xQcOW / Instagram: LIRIKSaqid ‘LIRIK’ Zahid poked another jab at fellow streamer Felix ‘xQc’ Lengyell on new Resident Evil game, Village, mocking his fans. As two of Twitch’s biggest streamers ever, LIRIK and xQc have had a tongue-in-cheek rivalry between each other, dating way back to 2019 when the two faced off on UFC 3. As Twitch has evolved this banter between them has continued, and flared up when they squared off in GTA RP earlier this year. Back in March, after LIRIK’s cop character Bayvon Barksdale arrested xQc’s old character X, he received an angry donation from an xQc viewer. In response, LIRIK addressed the viewer as though they were an infant and xQc was their dad. This attitude towards certain “childish” xQc fans meant LIRIK had the perfect opportunity to pick on his fans during a Resident Evil Village stream. After exploring the downstairs of protagonist Ethan Winter’s house, LIRIK moved upstairs to put Ethan’s baby daughter, Rosemary, to bed. However, the moment LIRIK put his foot on the stairs, the baby burst into tears, and he could not resist a sly dig at xQc and his viewers. “Oh god, don’t worry, I’ll put on your favorite streamer,” LIRIK said, comforting the child. “Who do you want to watch tonight? You want something with a vault? It’s fine, we’ll find one, don’t worry.” The vault reference is a nod to xQc’s previous run of robbing banks on the NoPixel server, before his fourth ban and an argument with girlfriend Adept convinced him to create a new cop character, Pierre Paul. LIRIK has previously waxed lyrical about the importance of high-quality cop roleplay in GTA RP, so this might convince him to go easy on the Canadian in future.

  • Twitch streamer Lirik rage quits stream after brutal Tetris battle royale loss – Dexerto

Twitch streamer Lirik rage quits stream after brutal Tetris battle royale loss Nintendo/Twitter: LirikTwitch streamer Saqib ‘Lirik’ Zahid is usually a calm and collected character while streaming to his fans. However, he left them hanging after a rage-filled game of Tetris 99. Nintendo’s own spin on the battle royale genre, Tetris 99, released on February 13 and while some fans may have questioned why the developer had spun the game into a BR, it has carved out its own niche. The game has already caused plenty of agony and anguish to players, with Lirik the latest to join that list as he turned off his stream after some rage-inducing play. “Hey, you guys want to see a magic trick?,” Lirik asked his chat, seconds after losing a game of Tetris 99 on February 19. He continued: “Abracadabra, fuck,” before his mic cut out and his stream went off the air at the four-hour mark – leaving viewers confused with just a black screen to look at. It’s not the first time Lirik been completely annoyed on stream, in fact, it’s not even the first time this week. On February 18, while playing the newly released a cheater attempted to advertise their exploits on his stream. That set Lirik off into a hilarious x-rated rant where he took the cheater to task, telling them not to ruin another PC game with their hacks – but it didn’t cause him to go off the air like Tetris 99 did.

  • LIRIK reveals how “weird” woman has ‘stalked’ him for two years – Dexerto

LIRIK reveals how “weird” woman has ‘stalked’ him for two years Twitch star Saqib ‘LIRIK’ Zahid revealed that he has a “weird” stalker who has been bombarding his business email for a considerable period of time. LIRIK has been streaming on Twitch since 2011, amassing over two and a half million followers in that time, and becoming one of the most popular figures in the variety streaming community. Be it playing something he’s well known for like GTA RP, a new release like Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, or battling fellow streamers in UFC, tens of thousands of fans tune into LIRIK’s daily broadcasts. However, it appears one viewer has taken their fandom to the next level and has been ‘stalking’ the American via his business email account. During his December 7 stream, the popular variety streamer had been starting up a game with some fellow broadcasters when he flat out revealed that he had a stalker. “Dude, I have this weird f*cking stalker girl who emails my business email every f*cking day for like years,” LIRIK said. Of course, this piqued the curiosity of his fellow streamers who immediately asked for more details – including what type of emails he receives. LIRIK continued: “I don’t f*cking know. I don’t (respond), it’s been two years but she still does it,”before adding a further “no bro,” when asked again if he had given it the time of day and replied at any point. Thankfully though, for LIRIK, one of his fellow streamers noted that he could easily just direct those messages to his trash can and not have them clog up his inbox. “I thought it only goes to spam. Dude you got to tell me (how to do that), it’s fucking weird,” the American concluded, switching away from the topic and heading into his next game. Seeing as LIRIK only labeled the stalker as “weird,” it’s unknown if its a serious, potentially dangerous situation or just an infatuated super-fan who wants a response. Either way, though, it seems like his email nightmare may soon be over as he might have learned to consign the messages to the trash can.

  • LIRIK proposes new Twitch channel to unify top streamers – Dexerto

LIRIK proposes new Twitch channel to unify top streamers Twitch / Instagram: lirikPopular Twitch streamer Saqib ‘LIRIK’ Zahid has pitched a new idea that aims to bring all of the biggest personalities together on a unified channel for a good cause. LIRIK has long been one of the biggest streamers on Twitch. Closing in on three million followers, his channel ranks as one of the most popular on the Amazon-owned platform. Though in an attempt to help Twitch, he’s willing to help build out an entirely new channel. When streamers end their broadcasts for the day, more often than not, they’ll look to host someone else. From other big names to up and comers, hosting can be a major boost to any given channel. Whether you have 1,000 viewers or 100,000, sending your audience across injects a healthy dose of viewership. LIRIK wants to see the hosting feature used in a brand new way. Rather than hosting each other for personal gains, the biggest streamers could all have one unified channel to host instead. Here’s how it would work. One channel on twitch.. when you go offline you host it. All big streamers push viewers to it, the whole purpose of the channel is to watch ads. All ad revenue goes to charity. Could maybe even show the $ in real time. Could bring all audiences together for one goal. Why not? — Lirik (@LIRIK) January 18, 2021 With a fresh channel set up, “all big streamers” would drive their viewers over to it. “The whole purpose” of this newfound channel, according to LIRIK, is “to watch ads.” With potentially thousands of viewers all in one place at any given time, ad revenue would be in a constant flow. All of this cash piling up would then go to charity, LIRIK explained. “Could maybe even show the [money] in real-time. Could bring all audiences together for one goal.” “Why not?” LIRIK asked. One major host from a single popular streamer could bring in thousands of dollars for charity. Let alone all of the biggest names working together and consistently sending their viewers over to the ad-based channel. Obviously, viewers wouldn’t be there for the content. No one wants to sit through hours of ads on end. But even one massive host could be enough to make this pitch worthwhile. It turns out that many other big names are right behind LIRIK in supporting the idea. “This is why you get paid the big buckos,” G2 esports owner Carlos ‘ocelote’ Rodríguez Santiago replied. “I love this idea,” popular Destiny 2 streamer ProfessorBroman followed up. LIRIK made a point that no one would ever actually feature on the channel. Big-name streamers wouldn’t have to promote it or take over the channel in a hosting role. “It is a neutral ground,” he explained. “No one gains clout or anything from the channel. Neutral zone.” Whether or not Twitch ever gets behind the idea, remains up in the air. It could certainly be a great incentive and a positive space on the streaming platform.

With the release of Rockstar Games’ Red Dead Redemption 2 on PC, LIRIK decided to pick up the game and give it a whirl with many other streamers doing the same thing on its November 5 release. But LIRIK faced an unlikely issue during his stream. Opting to traverse the wild west on horseback, rather than simply walking or running, LIRIK attempted to make his way up a small hill, but it proved to be too much for his steed. The horse crumbled as he approached the apex of the hill, falling backward and knocking protagonist John Marston onto his back, rolling away in heaps from each other, with LIRIK clearly baffled, saying: “Jesus, man, what are you doing?” When it became apparent the horse wasn’t getting back up, the streamer sadly proclaimed, “F**k, I’ve already killed my first horse,” before acquiring a new one and doing the exact same thing on the other side of the hill. This isn’t the first time LIRIK has struggled with riding a horse – at the start of 2018, he faced a similar issue while streaming Kingdom Come: Deliverance. It’s safe to say that LIRIK isn’t the most successful horse-rider in gaming, but this Red Dead Redemption 2 clip definitely seems like a freak accident that you wouldn’t expect to happen once, let alone twice. Maybe, with some practice, he’ll be able to fine-tune his horse-riding skills and save any more horses from meeting a nasty end.

  • Lirik loses it over Apex Legends cheaters – Dexerto

Lirik loses it over Apex Legends cheaters Popular Twitch streamer Saqib ‘Lirik’ Zahid slammed a player in hilariously x-rated fashion for trying to advertise Apex Legends cheats on his stream. Respawn Entertainment has already confirmed that they have banned over 16,000 cheaters since the game’s release on February 4. However, since the game has no in-game report system, a number of cheaters could go unnoticed. Cheats in video games are nothing new but to have exploits so early into a big release like Apex Legends and having them advertised on his stream really set Lirik off – as he hilariously unloaded all of his anger. The streamer began his x-rated rant by stating: “You stupid fucking kid. No one wants to download your fucking shit ass cheats because you can’t even use your mouse in this game – so, you know what you need to do? You need to go and fucking cheat because you fucking suck ass and you can’t take the goddamn time to learn how to fucking aim.” However, Lirik wasn’t finished there, as he continued on and got even angrier: “So, here you are, fucking cheating in a brand new fucking video game, trying to ruin the fucking community of something that is finally not a piece of shit on PC because you’re a dumb fuck.” “How does it feel to be a stupid fucking fuck, huh?,” Lirik asked, before reaching the end point of his rant. “Now, go shove the cheats up your fucking ass alright. There is already wallhacks in the game with Bloodhound you dumb fuck. Just learn how to aim now – you’re halfway there.” Read More: How to watch $200,000 Apex Legends Twitch Rivals tournament – schedule, streams, format, players, and more – As the number of cheaters playing the game grows, it’s probably not the best decision for them to try and advertise on a stream such as Lirik’s – especially when they end up getting shut down in such ridiculous fashion.

  • LIRIK perfectly sums up how it feels to play PUBG – Dexerto

LIRIK perfectly sums up how it feels to play PUBG Instagram: LIRIK / PUBG Corp.Popular Twitch streamer Saqib ‘LIRIK‘ Zahid decided to stream PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds on August 3rd and perfectly described how we all feel about the popular battle royale. PUBG has a reputation for being brutally unforgiving at times as you can find yourself being eliminated within a split second by a well-aimed headshot. Sometimes it doesn’t matter how good your loot is when it comes to being sniped across the map, as popular Twitch streamer LIRIK found out the hard way during his August 3 broadcast. PUBG makes LIRIK panic The PUBG paranoia overtook LIRIK hard during his stream, as he frantically paced around while trying to sort his in-game items to avoid being killed. A viewer commented in his chat how the streamer wasn’t “used to” the stress that goes hand-in-hand with playing the game. “I have PTSD at this point. It’s been years, what do you want from me? I feel like someone is always scoped in on me. Every fucking time,” he laughed. LIRIK thought he was out of the woods after he discarded his unwanted items. “Holy shit, we’re good, we’re good” he exclaimed in a panic. The Twitch star began to move across the map when suddenly bullets started to tag him out of nowhere. After only taking a few steps, the streamer’s game came to an abrupt end in a way that perfectly sums up the PUBG experience, while eerily living up to LIRIK’s suspicions that he was being watched. “Oh no we’re not! No we’re not! No, you fucker! See!” he yelled, as he watched his character die helplessly, proving to his audience that he was actually right to be paranoid all along. Read More: PUBG July 30 console update patch notes – LIRIK’s experience is a familiar one for most PUBG players, and it just goes to show that even when you think you’re safe, you never know who might be keeping a close eye on you through their sights for the perfect shot. Ironically, LIRIK had also surprised Dr Disrespect with an abrupt kill in-game with what was a bizarrely coincidental interaction a few days prior on July 27. Who knows, maybe this was the game’s form of ‘payback’.

  • LIRIK loses it after bizarre death as Yoda in Star Wars Battlefront – Dexerto

LIRIK loses it after bizarre death as Yoda in Star Wars Battlefront Twitch streamer Saqib ‘LIRIK‘ Zahid suffered a brutal death while dueling Darth Vader as Yoda in Star Wars Battlefront. LIRIK was playing the game’s “Heroes and Villains” mode, which places numerous characters from the franchise’s history against one another in epic battles that wouldn’t make sense continuity-wise in movie form. While playing as Yoda, the streamer was paired with Anakin Skywalker from the prequel trilogy to fight against Darth Vader and Count Dooku on the cloning planet of Kamino. This battle made very little sense as Darth Vader and Anakin are the same people. As the rain fell on the map, LIRIK was eager to get the fighting on as he approached the enemy Darth Vader. “You think this rain is gonna stop this sh*t?” he laughed. “This ain’t no f**king baseball game, a**hole.” Eventually, a fight before the four players broke out with LIRIK going head-to-head against Vader while his partner fought off against the other Sith Lord. As the fight progressed, the Twitch star seemed to gain the upper hand when he sent Vader off a platform. “Haha!” he laughed before seeing Vader was still breathing on a dock below. “Oh sh*t, he’s alive.” After dropping down to continue the duel, the green Jedi got a few decent strikes in but eventually was force choked by his foe, lifted in the air, and tossed into the raging waters to his doom. “Nooo!” LIRIK screamed as his Yoda character killed in action, leaving him to observe his teammate for the final confrontation. The whole fight was amusing with the Twitch star dancing around and trying to get the upper hand, but unfortunately, he ended up falling just short. Still, for a rookie to Star Wars Battlefront, it was an impressive showing, and maybe, just maybe, LIRIK will become one with the Force in due time.

  • LIRIK falls to hilarious fail with Star Citizen ‘window’ opening – Dexerto

LIRIK falls to hilarious fail with Star Citizen ‘window’ opening Popular Twitch streamer Saqib ‘LIRIK‘ Zahid was left gasping for oxygen after he tried to get some fresh air in space during a recent playthrough of Star Citizen. When it comes to streaming on Twitch, broadcasters can choose to stick to a title that they know they’re good at or try their hand at playing a new game pretty much every day of their schedule. Choosing the latter is variety streaming, and it’s helped propel LIRIK to becoming one of the most popular streamers on the site. The American streamer, who doesn’t use a face cam like many of his peers, will pretty much play a different game per stream, but he does have his staples of battle royale games and even GTA RP. Yet, recently, he tried his hand at Star Citizen and it didn’t go quite as planned. Lirik is one of Twitch’s most popular variety streamers.600 During his October 20 stream, he had started up his playthrough of the highly-anticipated multiplayer title when one member of his chat pointed out that it was going to take 15 minutes of realtime before he reached his destination. “15 minutes travel time? Bro, I’m fu**ing claustrophobic as s**t, I need to open a window,” he said, before turning to the side of his spacecraft and cracking open a spot. Of course, with his this being outer space, you can’t exactly open a window to encounter a fresh breeze. Instead, LIRIK had opened one of his doors, hit exit, and watched as the game began dragging him into the cold and lifeless backdrop of nothingness. Clip for mobile viewers “Oh fresh air, oh f**k, ahh,” screamed LIRIK as his plan was thrown back in his face and he had failed within the starting portion of the game. As he was dragged further and further from his ship, the popular streamer carried on with his screams before turning and mocking that he was choking, seeing as he couldn’t exactly breathe in fresh oxygen. Some players have already tested the game’s limitations during flight, having chosen to open the ship’s doors during ‘quantum travel’ and not been sucked into space. For LIRIK, though, his blunder came through hitting the exit button and not opting to sit back down. It’s a lesson to be learnt, but he probably won’t be the only Star Citizen player to dive into space.

  • LIRIK fails Escape From Tarkov run in most embarrassing way possible – Dexerto

LIRIK fails Escape From Tarkov run in most embarrassing way possible Battlestate Games / Twitter: LIRIKA lengthy Escape From Tarkov run ended in disaster for popular Twitch streamer Saqib ‘LIRIK’ Zahid, as he met his demise in the most amusing way possible. Escape From Tarkov often tests your patience, and demands that players are aware of their surroundings at all times. After a number of heated gunfights and a lengthy period of holding off attackers, LIRIK dropped the ball for just a split second and ended his run in a shocking way. A brief lapse in judgment is all it takes for everything to come crashing down in the popular multiplayer shooter, yet this unprovoked death might be the most embarrassing yet for the streamer. In a January 22 run that had just passed the 40-minute mark, LIRIK scored a number of kills and amassed a great deal of loot for his troubles. Unfortunately, the streamer found himself extremely wounded and on the verge of death after an intense gunfight out in the open. Pushing through some nearby trees and hugging a fence for cover while keeping an eye on a nearby building, disaster struck and LIRIK’s Tarkov run came to a catastrophic end in the most embarrassing way imaginable. Read More: Shroud reveals his EFT keybinds and settings – He wasn’t gunned down in a heroic battle, nor was he sniped from afar and taken out of commission; rather, the streamer forgot his exact whereabouts and walked directly into barbed wire. As he was already on such low health, this little nudge was more than enough to knock him down and put a hilarious end to his run. While barbed wire can often be an annoyance in Tarkov, forcing you to change your route and plan another through a certain area, the material actually proving to be lethal is quite a rare occurrence. Damaged limbs can typically lead to death if they come in contact with the spiky wiring, and being on the lowest health possible, it’s clear that LIRIK was knocking on death’s door already. Any form of incoming damage would likely have sealed the deal and put the nail in his coffin for that particular run. Perhaps it all could have been avoided and the streamer could have lived to fight on, if he hadn’t turned his attention to the nearby building for such a long time. Strafing directly into the wire, by the time he realized where he was, it was too late to react and wiggle out of the spot. This hilarious fail should hopefully serve as a lesson to any avid Tarkov players out there that barbed wire should be avoided at all costs. Not the only run to end in disaster for a popular streamer recently, Jaryd ‘Summit1g‘ Lazar and Felix ‘xQc‘ Lengyel had an Escape From Tarkov session come to a frustrating end, as well, on January 20.

  • LIRIK gifts $500 to AGDQ as punishment for being late to his own stream – Dexerto

LIRIK gifts $500 to AGDQ as punishment for being late to his own stream Saqib ‘LIRIK’ Zahid punished himself for being late to his stream by donating 100 subscriptions to the Awesome Games Done Quick Twitch channel. Awesome Games Done Quick is a time when video game speedrunners get together and show off their talents in a certain games, while also raising a lot of money for charity. Many streamers like to donate to the event as the money goes towards a good cause, and they get to see some of the best players in the world speedrun a certain title. What makes this event even more exciting to watch is you never know exactly what game you’re going to see as it can be anything from Sonic and Knuckles, to Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace speedruns. LIRIK, who may or may not have been watching AGDQ before his stream, ended up being six minutes late to his own. As a punishment for this, he decided to gift 60 subs to the charity, but decided to bump it up to 100 gifted subs instead. “60 gifted subs to GDQ for six minutes late,” he said before deciding to bump it up. “I like that idea, I like it, let’s make it 100.” That’s certainly quite the nice gesture as 100 gifted subs would equal $500 out of his own pocket, provided they are all Tier 1 subscriptions. Considering the size of LIRIK’s channel, he’ll likely make all of his money back in the course of one broadcast, but it’s still extremely generous for him to do what he did. Despite that, $500 is a good chunk of cash so if he wants to keep his bank account full, he’ll be sure to make sure he’s on time to the rest of his streams in the future. In the meantime, you can donate to the stream yourself just by visiting the website and clicking the donation button. Make sure you have the stream open as well as you can even get a message you send read out loud. All of the money donated will be going towards the Prevent Cancer Foundation, so if that’s something you’re passionate about, you might want to consider a donation of some sort. This isn’t the only charity raising money for a good cause either. As you may know, Australia is currently ablaze and many streamers are stepping in to help in some way. The Click Crew managed to raise $300k AUD in an effort to help the country. There are plenty of charitable options out there for people as we enter 2020, so perhaps you can throw a buck or two towards one of these causes.

  • Lirik escapes DayZ hostage trap with karma and a bit of incompetence – Dexerto

Lirik escapes DayZ hostage trap with karma and a bit of incompetence Bohemia Interactive / LIRIK TwitchTwitch star Saqib ‘LIRIK‘ Zahid was pleasantly surprised when he managed to get out of a tough DayZ bind with the help of his kidnappers. Before battle royales exploded with the prevalence of PUBG and Fortnite, LIRIK was a pioneer in DayZ streaming as the game led its players into nerve-wracking free-for-alls through its vast map and bizarre interactions with the other people in the game. Even with major BRs in the market, players still come across hilarious situations like the one he found himself in after getting cornered by two attackers – only to turn the tables on them after an incredible gaffe by the duo. In an October 15 stream, the streamer was having a tough time finding good loot to equip himself with, and came across a camp that looked rather promising. Moments later, the streamer was cornered in a room by two players demanding his loot, and after a brief plea to spare him since they had matching fedoras, the 28-year-old surrendered to his trappers. The game seemed lost for at that point with no avenue for escape and the barrels of his imprisoners’ weapons aimed at his face. But lucky for the streamer his captors weren’t that familiar with the game’s handcuffing mechanic. “You f***ing idiots,” LIRIK said with his hands still raised after seeing both of his trappers near simultaneously handcuff themselves. “Aw you f***ing stupid f***cking piece of s**ts.” It was then where he turned on the fisticuffs against his attackers who were now completely defenseless because of their momentary incompetence: “This is what you get. Motherf***er, where’s your friend? I’m going to shoot him in front of you.” But in his blind rage for revenge the streamer had eliminated both players using his fists, which saddened him a bit since he hatched a gruesome scheme to properly punish the two. “Wait he’s dead?” he said realizing that a “red dot” next to the players’ name meant they were eliminated. “I just punched him. Oh shit dude. Damn it man, I was going to have him wake up, cuff him, and shoot his friend in the face.” While the streamer couldn’t serve the opponents’ their just deserts, LIRIK managed to escape the situation in an unbelievable manner.

  • LIRIK explains why shroud’s move to Mixer is the “best” decision – Dexerto

LIRIK explains why shroud’s move to Mixer is the “best” decision Twitch star Saqib ‘LIRIK’ Zahid opened up to his audience and shared his thoughts on Michael ‘shroud’ Grzesiek leaving the streaming platform for Mixer exclusively. Shroud sent shockwaves in the industry with his surprise announcement on October 24 that he would be joining Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins on Twitch’s competitor Mixer. However, during his October 25 stream, popular streaming personality LIRIK addressed the shocking announcement, and gave his take on why the former CSGO pro leaving the streaming platform was a good idea. LIRIK’s views on shroud leaving Twitch The Twitch star was in the middle of streaming Call of Duty: Modern Warfare when his chat asked him to talk about shroud’s big move going to Mixer. “I’m gonna miss shroud, I will. But you know what, everyone has their reasons for doing sh*t,” he said. LIRIK then went on to explain the complexity of his decision that most people don’t consider. “So many different variables, and so many different things you will never understand,” he exclaimed. “The things he had to weigh in order to make his decision. He needs to do what is best for him.” The popular streamer then continued to defend shroud’s decision, by putting the former CSGO pro’s career trajectory into perspective. “If you grew up playing f*ckin’ Counter-Strike, or someone who has been a Counter-Strike pro, it’s very cool to see how far he’s been able to push it to be someone so f*ckin’ good at FPS games.” Reflecting more on the success shroud has been able to cultivate particularly now with his major deal with Mixer, he added “It’s cool to see his journey, and see what he decides to do, with motherf*kin’ video games being his backing. It’s actually kind of cool!” “He knows himself best, and what he wants in his life,” LIRIK finished. “That’s what it comes down to, man.” While LIRIK seemed to be happy for shroud, Twitch mega star Dr Disrespect also sounded off on his friend and streaming collaborator leaving for Mixer, after repeatedly criticizing the Microsoft-owned platform numerous times in the past. “We love shroud, and we wish him good luck. The man got paid. Did he get paid more than the Doctor? Did the guy with the blue hair, the little Dragonball Z anime guy, did he get paid more than the Doctor? No, both of them didn’t,” he exclaimed, referring to Ninja also leaving as well. While it’s only been a day since shroud has started streaming on Mixer, the streamer has already amassed over 390k followers on the Microsoft platform as of the time of writing this article. The FPS pro also had an astonishing 78k concurrent viewers during his first broadcast, and continues to bring in the numbers, as his Twitch viewers have shown to be following him to his new home.

  • LIRIK in disbelief after humiliating DayZ fail – Dexerto

LIRIK in disbelief after humiliating DayZ fail Popular Twitch streamer Saqib ‘LIRIK‘ Zahid was left with egg on his face after he tried to pull off a dastardly kill while playing DayZ. When it comes to variety streamers on Twitch, there are not many more popular than LIRIK. The American streamer, who doesn’t use a facecam on his streams, can usually be found playing a number of different titles stemming from battle royales, to story-based games, and even GTA RP. Recently, though, he’s been playing DayZ – the once-popular survival title that pits players against each other and roaming hordes of zombies – as they try to find food, supplies, and weapons to keep themselves alive. More often than not, player vs player action is where most of the highlights come from, and it was no different for LIRIK. Lirik is one of Twitch’s most popular variety streamers.600 During his October 14 stream, the popular broadcaster had managed to knock an enemy out and trapped them in a room before trying to finish them off altogether with a frag grenade. The streamer tossed it against a wall and quickly closed the door, before standing on the other side and waiting for his kill. “Sayonara, b**ch,” he said, before being blown away himself. “Oh, it goes through the door,” LIRIK added before seemingly slapping himself for the embarrassing moment. “Are you serious? Oh my fu**ing god. Oh my fu**ing god dude, it goes through the door,” he said, before hitting that respawn button and having to start his progress all over again. While pulling off the kill would have, no doubt, given viewers a manically brilliant highlight to talk about, the fail itself provided more laughter as they filled the chat with spam. Maybe thanks to this, though, the streamer would consider his distance before lighting the fuse of an explosive next time. It never hurts to stand far away – you’ll still be able to admire your work with the kill feed.

  • LIRIK embarrasses a shroud stream sniper with brutal roast – Dexerto

LIRIK embarrasses a shroud stream sniper with brutal roast Twitch: Shroud / LirikVeteran Twitch streamer Saqib ‘LIRIK‘ Zahid encountered one of Michael ‘shroud‘ Grzesiek’s infamous stream snipers while playing PUBG, and mocked the braggadocios player. Fellow streamer shroud is frequently the target of pesky ‘stream snipers’ – individuals who attempt to get in the same match as a popular streamer, usually in an attempt to kill them, with the help of knowing their every move. LIRIK too, as one of the top 20 streamers on the platform, runs into his fair share of these nuisance players, so when his teammate in PUBG began to brag about how many times he had killed shroud, LIRIK was less than impressed. “So what are you, a professional stream sniper?” LIRIK asked, after the teammate had boasted about taking out shroud in PUBG on multiple occasions, claiming it meant he was “really good” at the game. The player denied this, saying he just “get in (shroud’s) games dude”, but LIRIK wasn’t buying it, and tore into the stream sniper, mocking how easy it is to kill a player while watching them stream. “Takes a lot of skill, looking at his monitor, knowing exactly where he is as soon as he starts shooting and loading his clip, that’s when you fucking push up am I right?” LIRIK mocked, “As soon as he’s at like 10 HP, here comes fucking ‘jalapeno’, shoots once, kills shroud, sleeps at night in his little shit bed – am I right?” The stream sniper, at first speechless, could only muster an “ouch” in response to LIRIK’s tirade. Shroud himself has come to endure the annoying players, even befriending some of them and playing with them on stream. Twitch itself takes a hard stance on stream snipers and will ban anyone on their platform found guilty, and most game developers do the same, with PUBG itself having strict rules in place. But, with the sheer number of them, and the popularity of these big streamers, it’s hard, if not impossible, to eradicate the problem entirely, but at least LIRIK can let them know how he really feels.

LIRIK accidentally sabotages UFC fight with xQc in hilarious stream fail Thousands tuned in to watch Saqib ‘LIRIK‘ Zahid and Felix ‘xQc‘ Lengyel duke it out in UFC 3, however the entertaining event came to a screeching halt when one of the Twitch stars accidentally disrupted the tournament. LIRIK and xQc gave KSI vs Logan Paul 2 a run for its money when they drew in an insane amount of viewers on Twitch to watch their gaming tournament on November 25, at one point peaking at around 70,000 active users. While the tournament was in good fun, many tuned in to cheer on their favorite personality as the two traded blows in the virtual game, before one of them was declared a winner. However, the tournament was hilariously interrupted and came to a standstill when LIRIK made a mistake that almost all PlayStation 4 owners can relate to. LIRIK disrupts epic UFC tournament with xQc The two Twitch stars were in the middle of their tournament when LIRIK accidentally exited out of his game to the PlayStation home screen to play a DVD. “Oh sh*t! No! What the f*ck!?” he exclaimed in panic. As his PlayStation system automatically switched over to a DVD he had in his disc tray and booted it up, he screamed “”F*ck! F*ck! What the f*ck!?” in confusion and frustration. xQc immediately noticed and yelled “What the f*ck I’m lagging! Yooo!” The Canadian streamer called his opponent “lag switch Larry” before jokingly stating “I’m done!” LIRIK then explained, “I hit my PS home button and started some f*cking sh*t. Oh my god!” Despite xQc’s recent win in the game to boost his ego, LIRIK ended up taking the tournament of three, and beat the Canadian with one final brutal fight where his character landed some pretty nasty blows. “No! Don’t die!” the Canadian personality screamed, as his fighter was fell to the Octagon mat. His opponent then hopped on him and pummeled away as his head. “Nooooo! No no no!” he screamed as the match came to an end. The prize for the whole tournament was 100 subs, making the loss sting even more, although the two seemed to enjoy the whole event. Despite the hilarious interruption that temporarily disrupted their match, the stream pulled in thousands of viewers, and left many entertained by the two streaming giants’ collaboration. As of the time of writing this article, xQc continues to be one of the most popular streamers on Twitch with over 1.7 million followers, and LIRIK with 2.5 million.

  • Lip-syncing moms go viral on TikTok and nobody is sure why – Dexerto

Lip-syncing moms go viral on TikTok and nobody is sure why TikTok: miagillespieeFive moms went insanely viral with their wholesome lip-syncing TikTok, racking up views in the tens of millions. Their sequel is approaching similar numbers to the first instalment, but why have these women become so iconic overnight? [jwplayer MvEjv9It] TikTok is the home of the weird and the wonderful, hosting an enormous user base that spans just about every online community there is. While some stars like Charli D’Amelio and Addison Rae scoop up millions of likes for each video, it’s more difficult for the average user to see such high numbers. However, TikTok user Mia Gillespie managed to go unprecedentedly viral – though the video didn’t actually feature Mia herself. Instead, the mega viral video features her mom, along with four of her friends’ mothers, lip-syncing to the song Potential Breakup Song by Aly & AJ. Each mom has their own segment of the song under direction of their daughters, but each one comes in slightly late, bopping their heads in a way that had people in the comments falling in love. One commenter said “I always find my way back here” and another saying “Spice Girls have been real quiet since this video went up.” The video went explosively viral, currently with 9.7 million likes and an enormous 69 million views. After the overwhelming response from TikTok users, the daughters even recreated the video by imitating their own mother’s hilarious dancing. That video alone racked up nearly 60 million likes. Clearly the moms were not a one hit wonder, as they’ve broken the internet yet again with their new lip-sync to Dua Lipa’s Blow Your Mind, featuring some equally as passionate mom dancing. The third mother in the lineup up has clearly become a fan favorite, the TikTok flooded with comments like “Team third mom,” “mom #3 will always be my favorite ,” and “mom 3 popped off.” The videos have even inspired people to imagine what each mom would be as varying different objects like shoes, kitchens, and even underwear. Many of these videos have racked up millions of likes in their own right. It seems people have become addicted to each moms’ funny quirks – they way they are frozen still before they start singing, the classic mom head bob, and their distinct personalities contributing to the insane virality. It’s still not totally clear why the lip-syncing moms went viral in the first place, but it’s safe to say that TikTok have embraced the loveable women and their iconic dance skills.

The first thing you’re probably going to do is take a photo of the majestic animal, but what would you do if it started copulating right then and there? The answer was a pretty simple one for one person in attendance who witnessed the class act: start filming and upload the clip to TikTok. In the video going viral on multiple platforms now that it’s spread to Twitter, user ibrahimathiaw62 caught the moment when a staff member tried to get involved and got roared right in the face at Ranch de Bandia. Viral lion gets mad at zookeeper for interrupting hot car date As the two lions continued their act on top of the caged jeep, a man inside appeared to radio for assistance before standing up. At this point, the top lion didn’t take too kindly to the voyeurism and roared loudly before even lunging at him, much to the shock of others witnessing the performance art. “Dude said they wanna see a show we’ll I’ll give them a show they won’t forget,” one viewer joked. “Must’ve heard the OnlyFans business is booming,” another said, referencing how come content creators have made millions posting content to the platform. Luckily, no one seemed to get hurt during the whole fiasco, but the whole video was wild enough to go extremely viral, amassing over 16M views in just one day.

  • Linus Tech Tips YouTube channel hacked to promote Elon Musk crypto scam videos – Dexerto

Linus Tech Tips YouTube channel hacked to promote Elon Musk crypto scam videos YouTubeThe Linus Tech Tips YouTube channel has been hacked, and is now under a different handle, promoting crypto scam videos featuring Elon Musk. YouTube has had an ongoing issue with account breaches, and now it appears that one of the largest channels on the platform has been hacked. LinusTechTips, known for its accessible PC hardware content, has been the latest victim of these attacks. The channel has been renamed “LinusTechTipsTemp” under the handle “@temporaryhandle“. The channel has also deleted most of its videos, although these are gradually being restored. The breached channel streamed two videos featuring Elon Musk talking about cryptocurrency with Twitter’s original founder. One is named “OpenAI ChatGPT-4: The Game-Changing AI Technology”, while the other is called “LinusTechTips & Elon Musk Special Crypto Giveaway”. The latter stream has been taken down after around 20 minutes of broadcasting. The first stream went down after around 35 minutes of broadcasting. However, they have both now been put live again in what appears to be a struggle between the malicious actors and YouTube themselves. However, both of the livestreams appear to be identical, showcasing the exact same video. Though, in the chat, a link to a presumably malicious “Crypto Giveaway” is present. This appears to be a phishing attempt in order to get cryptocurrency wallet details from unsuspecting viewers. Will LinusTechTips get its videos back? While bad actors might have already scrubbed most LinusTechTips videos, previous instances of account breaches with video deletion have had its accounts returned following recovery by the account owner. It appears as though the previously deleted videos are now in the process of being restored by YouTube itself. The re-uploaded videos also seemingly include previously unlisted videos, with different titles. Some videos even explicitly state “Do not upload” or “Do not use” in their titles. This has been a lingering problem for YouTube, as an additional tech channel, Eteknix, was hacked a few weeks ago but has seemingly had its accounts returned to them with all videos recovered, too. It’s unclear how the hackers managed to get into the account of Linus Tech Tips, though it highlights the importance of security on all accounts where possible The Linus Tech Tips account has now been terminated following the breach. Twitch has also had problems with scam crypto streams posing as Elon Musk, sometimes taking over big-name streamers. Linus responds to YouTube account breach A few hours after the hack, Linus made a post on their site ‘Floatplane‘ to confirm they were aware and working with Google to resolve the issue. “Regarding the YouTube channel hack, we are on top of it with Google’s team now,” Linus said. “Everything should be locked down and we are getting to the bottom of the attack vector with the (hopeful) goal of hardening their security around YouTube accounts and preventing this sort of thing from happening to anyone in the future.” Linus also said a more detailed update on the situation on the WAN show “at some point.” TechQuickie also compromised It appears as though the LTT-affiliated channel, TechQuickie, has also been compromised, and is posting the same video under a different name. The same can be said of Techlinked, indicating that the hackers now have access to other Linus Media Group-owned channels.

  • Linus Tech Tips narrowly avoids killing his career with “hard-R” mishap – Dexerto

Linus Tech Tips narrowly avoids killing his career with “hard-R” mishap LinusTechTips | YouTubeLinusTechTips is one of the biggest YouTubers on the platform, with a massive content and tech empire built around his online presence. In a recent episode of the WAN show, Linus almost accidentally killed his career with what was a genuine misunderstanding. Linus had been around the tech space for a long time before he went off on his own and created the LinusTechTips content empire that now has one of the largest audiences on YouTube. The collection of YouTube channels under the Linus Media Group umbrella is worth at least 100 million dollars as revealed by his admission that he turned down an offer from someone to outright buy the media group. On the WAN show episode that was livestreamed on March 10, 2023, Linus had a misunderstanding as to what the “hard-R” actually means, something that led to his co-host Luke correcting the situation as everyone in the chat was shocked at what Linus had to say. Linus Tech Tips quickly clarifies a disastrous “hard-R” claim The WAN show is a weekly livestream hosted by Linus and Luke, and it’s been a staple on the LinusTechTips channel for years. The two of them go over the biggest tech news for the week in everything from PC building and tech companies to gaming and software development. In a discussion about the usage of words that are now considered slurs and how they were casually used in shows like American Dad, the conversation went in a very unexpected direction. “The casual sort of gay humor, the casual use of the hard-R”. This is where co-host Luke started to question where Linus was going with the conversation at the 1:28:00 mark in the video. When questioned about it, Linus elaborated. “Yeah, really! Like, there was an episode of American Dad. It wasn’t for shock value, it was just used. And here’s the thing, right? That was in like 2003 or something, 2002. I’m not gonna deny that I dropped my fair share of hard-Rs back then because we— the term hard-R didn’t even exist.” This is where Luke knew something was wrong here. He questioned Linus and asked for some clarification. “Are you talking, like, n-word hard-R?” Linus quickly shot that down, claiming that he meant something else entirely. Linus contested by saying he meant this: “No, the one with the uh, like, the one for mental disability.” Luke breathed a sigh of relief following the exchange, with it clear that Linus didn’t mean he was dropping a “fair share of hard-Rs back then”. Luke gave himself a pat on the back for this one, saying that they “dodged a bullet”. In a Livestream Fail post discussing the issue, users on the subreddit almost unanimously forgave him for the incident and fully believed that he didn’t intend to claim he was casually using racist slurs. Linus went on to joke about it, feeling fortunate that Luke was able to bail him out. “I hope everyone likes not having a job anymore on Monday, because apparently I’m a giant racist.” He narrowly avoided disaster and the potential fall of his media empire with just one simple misunderstanding, but at least he was able to laugh it off and get right back on track with their stream.

  • Linus Tech Tips is “extremely skeptical” about the longevity of OTK’s Starforge PCs – Dexerto

Linus Tech Tips is “extremely skeptical” about the longevity of OTK’s Starforge PCs YouTube: Linus Tech Tips / Starforge SystemsLinus Tech Tips revealed he is “extremely skeptical” about Starforge Systems’ survival during a tech review. As the most watched tech-centric YouTube channel on the platform, Linus Sebastian and the team at Linus Tech Tips certainly know the ins and outs of PC building and manufacturing. As a very lucrative industry, it’s no surprise that companies like the influencer-owned Starforge Systems were eager to jump into the field with some expensive pre-built systems for sale. Now, Sebastian has reviewed the Horizon Creator edition PC sent from the company in which he said he was “extremely skeptical” of the company’s survivability quite early on. Linus Tech Tips reviews Starforge Systems PC Sebastian opened his review by acknowledging that while the system-building business looks quite appealing on the outside, the pitfalls involved in founding a company around it are numerous. The tech YouTuber went on to say that those pitfalls coupled with the fact that Starforge Systems is owned by “a bunch of Twitch streamers with no obvious business acumen” among other concerning factors made him think the company was “doomed to fail.” For those who may not know, Starforge System is owned by members of OTK Network and popular content creator Charlie “MoistCr1TiKal” White. Unfortunately, Starforge Systems’ launch was plagued with controversies, such as many fans claiming the PC builds were vastly overpriced and OTK perma-banning critics from live streams. As such, Sebastian anonymously ordered the $3,500 Horizon Creator Edition PC for review, so as not to receive any special treatment beforehand. While the team noticed fairly minor and not-so-minor hiccups during the setup process, the performance test performed admirably. However, Sebastian deemed the value proposition of the $3,500 PC much more harshly. Notably, Sebastian’s team was able to build a PC with identical specs that cost nearly $1,000 less. Of course, the tech YouTuber acknowledged the convenience factor coupled when buying a pre-built PC compared to a DIY build. While Sebastion ended his review by saying he doesn’t know if he’d “wholeheartedly recommend” purchasing a Starforge Systems build and advised viewers to wait to see if they’re “still around in six months,” he acknowledged the company seemed like “as good an option as any other SI on the market.”

  • Linus Tech Tips explains why you should avoid new “gaming web browser” – Dexerto

Linus Tech Tips explains why you should avoid new “gaming web browser” YouTube: LinusTechTipsPopular YouTuber Linus Tech Tips has explained why the ‘new’ Opera GX gaming web browser isn’t all that bad but also why it’s probably not worth using just yet. When it comes to getting a top-level for a brand new piece of hardware – be it a PC, a mobile phone, monitor, or even a camera – many fans heed the advice of Linus Tech Tips. The popular YouTube channel has amassed over 10 million subscribers since starting back in 2008 and regularly uploads new reviews, tips, and tricks. One of the newest reviews came as the host, Linus, broke down the new Opera GX gaming web browser that isn’t just about performance on Facebook or Flash games, but using it to browse the internet while playing something on your PC. While it may sound interesting and new, the Opera GX browser works off Google Chromium, so it could look and feel a bit similar to Chrome. Though there are some unique features like limiting how much RAM and CPU it can use – however, Linus found that this didn’t always work. It also comes equipped with a built-in VPN, ad-blocker, and screenshot tool, as well as messenger apps and a cryptocurrency wallet. However, it was the VPN that the YouTuber described as “sucky” because of how it works in its current state and why users might not want to just give their data to Opera given their recent problems with security. “We started out with this video thinking that this was just going to be a rant about how stupid it is, but it ended up not being that stupid – which doesn’t necessarily mean that you should use it,” Linus stated before revealing that a recent report alleged that four of Opera software’s other apps were in violation of the Google Play store policy. These apps were supposedly targeting users in India, Kenya, and Nigeria with predatory loans, with the report suggesting that it was done this way because of falling user figures on the apps. The YouTuber also stated that the current Opera CEO is allegedly involved in another Chinese lending business that has been accused of fraud and illegal lending practices. “Opera GX the product, actually shockingly not terrible but it still doesn’t seem like the best time to support this company, even if it might make it easier for you to your watch anime music videos while you wreck filthy casuals in CoD,” Linus concluded. Whether or not fans will actually take his advice on board remains to be seen, but it appears the YouTuber is pretty passionate about not using the browser on a daily basis just yet.

  • Linus Tech Tips gifts Hasan communist PC with “Eat The Rich” passcode – Dexerto

Linus Tech Tips gifts Hasan communist PC with “Eat The Rich” passcode Linus Tech Tips/HasanYouTuber Linus Tech Tips trolled Twitch star Hasan ‘HasanAbi’ Piker when he sent him a new PC with a few features that make fun of the streamer’s political views. Hasan has been expecting a new PC from Linus Tech Tips with a few interesting features baked in. On October 15, Linus let slip some of the surprises that Hasan should be prepared for, and said: “every time you boot it up, you get to listen to not just a little bit of, but the entire Soviet Union national anthem.” Hasan has now received the PC, and discovered all the hilarious bits Linus managed to pack into it. Linus trolls Hasan with “communist” PC Hasan got the PC in the mail on October 22, and booted it up live on Twitch. In order to log in to the computer, a password was needed. He said, “Password? Eat The Rich?” Hasan typed in “Eat The Rich”, and it was successful. Right after getting into the PC, a video of the Communist Party’s flag and Hasan float around the screen with the State Anthem of the Soviet Union playing in the background. Another gag by Linus was removing the legs on the PC’s left side, literally making it a “left-leaning” computer. Thankfully, Hasan didn’t take the jokes to heart and was able to have a laugh at the computer Linus constructed for him. When Hasan was setting up the computer on stream, the missing left legs seemed to drop the PC directly onto his foot, causing some serious pain. Luckily, the PC itself wasn’t harmed, and Hasan was able to set it up without any problems.

  • Linus Tech Tips explains how YouTube channel got hacked for crypto scam streams – Dexerto

Linus Tech Tips explains how YouTube channel got hacked for crypto scam streams YouTube: LinusTechTipsYouTube star Linus ‘Linus Tech Tips’ Sebastian has explained how his YouTube channels managed to get hacked and deleted, without the hackers going after his passwords. On March 23, fans of Linus Tech Tips – the biggest channel out there for PC content – were shocked to find that three channels worth of content had disappeared and been replaced by cryptocurrency scam streams. These types of attacks aren’t new, and have constantly cropped up on YouTube and Twitch, but it was shocking that Linus – whose content is all about knowing the ins and outs of tech – had fallen victim to it. Well, after firefighting things and managing to wrestle back control of his channels, the YouTuber has revealed what happened, including the fact he had to get out of bed in the early hours to get things sorted out. Linus Tech Tips explains how his YouTube channel got hacked The Canadian tech supremo revealed that it wasn’t like someone targeted their password directly to get into his account, but, instead, they went after their whole browser profile, which made it even more difficult to combat. “Someone on our team downloaded what appeared to be a sponsorship offer from a potential partner. It was an innocent enough mistake for the most part. The email came from a legitimate-looking source and it didn’t raise any immediate red flags,” Linus said, noting that whatever ‘PDF’ was downloading, didn’t launch as it should have and was thus ignored. “What happened in the background took about 30 seconds. The malware accessed all user data from both of their installed browsers, Chrome and Edge, including everything from locally save passwords, cookies, and browser preferences. Giving them effectively an exact copy of those browsers on the target machine that they could export including, that’s right, session tokens for every logged-in website.” He noted that the hack could have been “easily avoided” if the team had better processes in place and that it took longer than it should have to fix things because of how roles are dished out for his channels. “The bottom line is, our disaster response processes need to improve because I realized at three whatever in the morning, that I didn’t know how to reset the passwords and the access controls across these channels,” he added, before urging Google to improve communication and security options around these issues. Things are back to the way they should be across the three compromised channels, so expect the usual videos soon.

  • Linus Tech Tips explains why he’s considering retirement in emotional stream – Dexerto

Linus Tech Tips explains why he’s considering retirement in emotional stream YouTube: LinusTechTipsYouTuber Linus Sebastian, best known as the host of popular channels such as Linus Tech Tips and TechQuickie, has opened up on his thoughts of retirement in a tearful livestream on January 22. Linus is perhaps the best-known tech expert on YouTube, with tens of millions of subscribers across his team’s various channels. After over a decade worth of content on PC’s, gaming, phones, tablets and so much more, Linus remains a mainstay in many of the videos, even with a large team of experts now on board. All this content, and the success that comes with it, appears to have taken a toll on Linus though, who poured his heart out to fans on an impromptu livestream. Titled “I’ve been thinking of retiring,” Linus spoke for almost half an hour about his dwindling passion for the work, and that he desired to spend more time with family. “The truth is, I’ve been thinking about retiring for quite some time now,” he explains, “it felt so far off, I didn’t think I’d ever get there. I’d often joke that’s what I should do for ten million [subscribers], just like ‘hey, thanks, it’s been a wild ride, see ya!” He went on to explain that a request from the Make-a-Wish foundation had been “life-changing” for him. A sick child had wished to meet Linus, but due to the severity of their ill-health, the best that could be achieved was a video message. “I pointed the camera at myself and tried to think of something to say, and I just couldn’t. […] The only thought going through my head was everything I know is going to die.” Linus confirms he’s not retiring – yet For fans concerned that he could really be stepping down, Linus confirmed that he wasn’t retiring just yet. “I’m going to stop looking for a purpose in it, I’m just going to have fun doing what I’m doing,” the YouTuber explained, “So, I’m not retiring. That’s why the stream, which is not clickbait, is titled ‘I’ve been thinking of retiring.’ I’m also not promising that I’m not going to retire, I’m just taking a different approach and we’re going to see how it goes.” So, for now, Linus’s content looks like it will resume as normal, but we may see less of him and more of the other members taking the helm in many of the videos. Having just crossed the 10 million subscriber mark on the main Linus Tech Tips channel, the content is still booming in popularity, even all these years on, something many other channels will envy.

  • Linus Tech Tips claims YouTube didn’t care about community concerns during dislike meeting – Dexerto

Linus Tech Tips claims YouTube didn’t care about community concerns during dislike meeting YouTube/Linus Tech TipsAccording to Linus Tech Tips, YouTube doesn’t care about the community’s concerns about removing dislike counts on videos. YouTube’s decision to hide dislike counts on videos has proven controversial with users and creators on the site, including Asmongold, PewDiePie, and xQc. While multiple creators have spoken out against the change, Linus actually got the chance to bring up these concerns with YouTube directly. Despite the opportunity though, the site doesn’t seem to care according to him. YouTube gives “zero ducks” about dislike concerns Yes I had the dislike counter meeting with YouTube. Zero ducks were given about my concerns or the ones shared by our community. https://t.co/WqReobyBnD — Linus LinusMediaGroup (@linusgsebastian) November 27, 2021 After a user on Twitter asked Linus whether or not the dislike meeting had gone down with the video site, the YouTuber answered it had, but wasn’t much of a success. “Yes, I had the dislike counter meeting with YouTube,” he wrote. “Zero ducks were given about my concerns or the ones shared by our community.” Fellow creator Hasan claimed brands and the massive unpopularity of YouTube’s Rewind, were some reasons for dislikes being removed. Linus didn’t go that far, but did admit they could have played some part. It’s hard to say how much those factors affected the decision, but it’s clear that this step toward reduced transparency sucks. — Linus LinusMediaGroup (@linusgsebastian) November 27, 2021 “It’s hard to say how much those factors affected the decision,” Linus responded. “But, it’s clear that this step toward reduced transparency sucks.” The feeling that the removal of dislikes will take away a level of transparency to what’s actually popular or not, has been one of the main sticking points for most who are against the change. So, while the decision to remove dislikes might be hugely unpopular with users and creators alike, according to Linus, YouTube just doesn’t care.

  • Linus Tech Tips’ daughter steals the show with hilarious squirrel conversation – Dexerto

Linus Tech Tips’ daughter steals the show with hilarious squirrel conversation Twitch: Linus TechLinus Sebastian, the figure behind the wildly popular Linus Tech Tips, had a recent Twitch stream hilariously hijacked by his daughter, who was keen to ask about a squirrel found in their house. Sebastian is best known for creating and regularly appearing on a whopping five YouTube channels, including the incredibly popular Linus Tech Tips. He regularly appears to offer his ten million subscribers tips relating to all things technology – PCs, monitors, and everything in between. However, while live streaming via Twitch on April 23, he had his broadcast amazingly hijacked by his young daughter, who was inquiring about a dead squirrel that was in their house. “I think that’s probably the route I’m gonna go,” he said, before being interrupted. “Yes, my darling what I can do for you?” His daughter then proceeded to ask awkward questions about a dead squirrel that was in their family home, in a truly adorable – and bizarre – Twitch moment. “Erm, well there’s a dead squirrel in the crawl-space in our house,” Linus told her. “Why? Well because it crawled in there and died. I honestly don’t know how it died, maybe it just lost the will to live… maybe it died of old age, or maybe it got in a fight with a porcupine and it lost.” The tech wizard’s daughter seemed to accept this explanation, but then appeared to grow concerned with the state of the porcupine that may have been involved. “That’s true,” Linus finished. “But the porcupine if it won, well it’s not dead so it could have left, right? She’s processing that one.” The clip is truly adorable, as Linus struggled to explain the harsh realities of nature to his young daughter. It’s certainly not what the YouTube star’s audience tuned in for, but many enjoyed the cute family moment nonetheless.

  • Linus Sebastian is stepping down as Linus Tech Tips CEO in transition to new role – Dexerto

Linus Sebastian is stepping down as Linus Tech Tips CEO in transition to new role Linus Tech TipsLinus Sebastian, the creator of the tech media giant Linus Media Group, has officially announced he is stepping down as the CEO and transitioning to a new role, one that will still have him on camera as much as always. In a sudden May 18 announcement video on the Linus Tech Tips channel, Linus has officially announced he is stepping down as the CEO of LMG and Floatplane effective on July 1. In the video, he explained he is not retiring from the company as a whole, despite a $100 Million offer to do so, but is instead taking on a different role. Starting on July 1, Linus’ new position will be as Chief Vision Officer, helping with creative direction while still appearing on camera as much as fans have grown to expect. Linus reassured viewers he is not going away from the public spotlight, nor is he retiring just yet. In fact, he hopes he would appear on camera much more regularly with the new position. Rather, his managerial responsibilities as a CEO have been handed over to Terren Tong, who was Linus’ former boss when he worked under NCIX. Linus announces move from CEO to new creative position In the video, Linus fully explained why he is stepping down as CEO at this point in time. “The truth is, I was never cut out to be a CEO,” he said. “I remember putting it on my business cards in the early days when we had four employees thinking, ‘this feels ridiculous’, and I’ve never really outgrown that.” He went on to jokingly list the aspects he feels he is good at, but pointed out none of them make him fit as a CEO. “In addition to those strengths, both real and imagined, I have a lot of weaknesses, and chief among them is that I’ve never really had the attention to detail or the temperament it takes to run an organization this large.” Linus further explained that the managerial side of the company will have no drastic changes and they ensured the handover will be as smooth as possible. Additionally, Linus and his wife, Yvonne, are still the sole shareholders and directors of the company. Assuring that it has not been purchased out by a bigger corporate entity. Linus has spoken candidly about his retirement and the future of the company very candidly in the past. Famously, he did a livestream when the Linus Tech Tips channel hit 10 million subscribers talking about his potential retirement. He has also spoken candidly about buy-out offers they have gotten, in particular an offer for $100 million. He further explained in the announcement video that the offer was very attractive with him getting 60% cash and 40% equity, but they ultimately turned it down. Who is Linus’ replacement as CEO of Linus Media Group? As mentioned before Linus’ replacement as CEO is Terren Tong. Tong was Linus’ former boss at NCIX, and someone Linus clearly puts a lot of trust and respect on. He explained it as much in the video, “he was my boss when I worked in NCIX, which makes him kind of uniquely qualified for this position because managing me is a challenging task. I’m everywhere, even the most skilled of administrators have struggled with it, and he’s one of the only people to ever successfully do that.” After Tong’s long tenure at NCIX, he would go on to work at Corsair for nine years from 2012 to 2021, and he would go on to work at Dell. Linus described his time at both companies as successful enough that they “thwarted all attempts” to hire him.

She also shared her thoughts in the comments of the video: “Honestly, this is this such a complement.” Fans of the star were quick to take to the comments with their thoughts about the “haters,” as well. “They must not know who Lindsey Stirling is. I’ve watched her since the dubstep violin play days. Oh, it’s real,” one user replied. Another said: “Here as a not huge Lindsey Stirling fan who hasn’t really listened to any of her music. She’s playing live.” “And that’s what makes her unique! She’s not just someone who plays violin, but has the talent of playing while dancing,” a third commented. • Twitch streamer Limmy roasted by son for being “lazy” – Dexerto

Twitch streamer Limmy roasted by son for being “lazy” Scottish comedian Brian ‘Limmy’ Limond is a Twitch regular, although he might need to start looking to take some time off the platform after his son roasted him for streaming all day long. Comedy sensation Limmy has gone from sketch shows on television to an more intimate experience on Twitch. He’s found a home on the streaming platform with thousands of adoring fans tuning in for his Scottish quips and dry sense of humor. However, while the streamer might enjoy his time on the platform, his family isn’t as enthusiastic at times. During a January 2 broadcast, his nine-year-old son, Daniel, was fed up. After seeing his dad behind the screen for over five hours, he told him to get up, “get some fresh air,” and stop streaming. “You need to stop streaming you’ve been on for almost half a day,” he yells out. However, Limmy questions his son, parroting back his advice. “I need stop streaming, I’ve been on this for half a day?” Daniel slowly gets more annoyed that his dad isn’t taking a break, even asking him to “get some fresh air,” before calling him “lazy.” “You’re lazy — playing games all day,” he yelled. Limmy responded with the fact “playing games is my job now, and I’m doing it right now!” After having all of his questions deflected, Daniel stormed into his dad’s room telling him to shut off the stream and “spend time with me.” But, once again, Limmy had something to say to that. “You don’t wanna spend time with me! You saying you wanna spend time with me but you don’t wanna spend time with me,” the comedian retorted. Limmy did eventually end up fulfilling his son’s request, turning off his five-and-a-half hour stream just five minutes later — although he did promise viewers he would try and fit in a cheeky stream later that night. The Scottish entertainer doesn’t rely solely on Twitch for work. He is a comedian, after all, with his series ‘Limmy’s Show’ available on Netflix, and he also does stand-up around Scotland and the rest of the UK. It’s unlikely the streamer will end up altering his schedule to his son’s wishes, but he might take him up on the request to spend more time with him, if he obliges.

  • Limmy slams “hypocrites” on Twitch hot tub and ASMR meta: “It’s called banter” – Dexerto

Limmy slams “hypocrites” on Twitch hot tub and ASMR meta: “It’s called banter” Twitch: LimmyScottish Twitch streamer Brian ‘Limmy’ Limond has weighed in on the Twitch ‘hot tub’ and ASMR drama, describing some of the content as “banter” and criticizing fellow streamers for “selective outrage”. Previously a stand-up comedian and TV star, Limmy turned to Twitch full-time in order to facilitate his comedy career, but also improve his wellbeing and mental health. He has now been on Twitch for some time and, has become sporadically involved in the community at large. Currently, the topic dominating the community is the hot tub and ASMR “metas”, which some argue are used to manipulate Twitch’s guidelines on sexual content. Amouranth and Indiefoxx were banned for their ASMR streams – which mainly involved lying in yoga pants and licking microphones. Some members of the Twitch community have shared concerns about ad revenue on the site and, with the discussion in full flow, Limmy has now weighed in. In a June 20 Twitter thread, the Scot criticized those behind the outrage, describing their condemnation of the recent metas as “selective outrage”. “Selective outrage,” he said. “That’s what this Twitch hot tub thing is, in a nutshell. Hotshot streamers in the Recommended panel, regularly hitting out with “r*tard”, “f**king b*tch”, etc. And their chat is a cesspit. But a woman in a bikini? Who will think of the children?!” https://twitter.com/DaftLimmy/status/1406613215321149445?s=20 He pinpointed streamers who have complained about the hot tub and ASMR metas, only to have profanity on their own profiles and timelines. “‘But Limmy, Twitch is 13+’,” he continued. “Oh f**king shut up you disingenuous c**t. You telling me you’ve cared before this point? The stuff that is said by streamers and their chat, have you checked? Have you tweeted about it? Have you f**k.” https://twitter.com/DaftLimmy/status/1406616859886112773?s=20 He finished his thread by suggesting that, no matter what guidelines and age recommendations Twitch puts in place, he doubts it will ever be a site that is entirely suitable for young people. He described it as “too much of a free for all” where “anything could happen, the streamer could say or do anything, and then there’s the chat.” “Last thing I want to say,” he finished. “Some people are mentioning a female streamer wearing sexy clothing and farting into mic, as an example of indecency. Wrong. It’s called banter…I can respect the opinions of genuinely puritanical people, regardless of how much I might disagree. But I’m on about the hypocrites, with inconsistent concerns regarding indecency. And I’m suspicious of why that is.” https://twitter.com/DaftLimmy/status/1406620805526654989?s=20 https://twitter.com/DaftLimmy/status/1406628413742501888?s=20 In short, Limmy feels that those complaining about the hot tub and ASMR metas are being disingenuous given the other issues Twitch has in terms of ensuring all its content adheres to its guidelines. It’s a tricky spot for Twitch to occupy, but the streaming platform has forged a reputation of sometimes being inconsistent with bans, guideline breaches and matters of this nature. However, with the ASMR meta, they took action quickly.

  • LilyPichu’s room makeover stream nearly ends in disaster – Dexerto

LilyPichu’s room makeover stream nearly ends in disaster OfflineTV / Twitch: LilyPichuOne half of the cute new OfflineTV couple nearly met an unfortunate end while setting up some new furniture, causing the streaming collective’s founder William ‘Scarra‘ Li to nearly keel over with laughter. The newest member of OfflineTV, Michael Reeves, was nearly permanently taken offline by some furniture construction during a March 2 Lily ‘LilyPichu‘ Ki stream. During the broadcast, titled “redoing my room”, the couple were in the process of taking down the bunk bed structure that typically hangs over Lily’s streaming PC. After removing most of the furniture and the PC, they turned their attention to the structure itself, and were in the midst of removing the upper bunk support, when Reeves thankfully stepped out of the way just seconds before it came crashing down. Reeves had just taken out the central support beam and moved out of the way before the heavy wooden support frame hit the floor. That wasn’t the only thing to hit the floor, as the group’s founder and former LCS veteran Scarra doubled over laughing at the near-disaster. Lily also couldn’t help but laugh, but also said: “I’m really glad you [Michael] weren’t under that.” Reeves embraced his partner with a hug before sarcastically remarking, “Well at least it’s down now.” He then gave the stream a smile and a big thumbs up before continuing to take down the bed frame. Less than twenty minutes later, the duo had the bunk bed frame completely removed, and within two hours after, the room redecoration project was complete, with no further incidents or near injuries. Michael Reeves, a popular YouTuber known for his wild tech creations such as a chair that ejects you when you sit on it and a bot that auto-buys things from Amazon suggested on Twitter, joined the OfflineTV group back in December 2019. This addition came just after the end of a highly publicized breakup between LilyPichu and musical Twitch streamer Albert ‘Sleightlymusical’ Chang. Chang has been off social media since November, when he admitted to being unfaithful to Lily. In recent weeks, Reeves and LilyPichu have spent more time together on stream and in various YouTube videos, and have begun dating. Thankfully, their relationship was not ended by Michael’s untimely demise at the hands of falling bed frames.

  • Limmy loses it as he struggles to watch James Corden’s final Carpool Karaoke – Dexerto

Limmy loses it as he struggles to watch James Corden’s final Carpool Karaoke Twitch: LimmyComedian turned Twitch streamer Brian Limond, better known as Limmy, found it very difficult to sit through James Corden’s final Carpool Karaoke as he completely lost it on stream. Comedian James Corden has hosted his last The Late Late Show, with the franchise itself ending its run after 28 years. Corden, who host the show for over eight years, had his final episode accompanied by his last-ever Carpool Karaoke segment featuring Adele. However, Corden’s style of humor is definitely not up everyone’s alley. Brian Limond, better known as Limmy, definitely falls into the camp that doesn’t respond well to James’s style of humor, but despite this he braved the last Carpool Karaoke, putting a hilarious show on for his audience on Twitch. Limmy watches James Corden’s final Carpool Karaoke During his April 25 broadcast, a fan informed Limmy that James Corden released his final Carpool Karaoke on YouTube. Given his history of hilarious reactions to Corden’s stuff, Limmy decided to try and watch it live, but he had to pause and skip the vast majority of the segment, seemingly out of embarrassment. Limmy’s over-the-top reaction made the clip popular on the LivestreamFails subreddit where some users agree with his response to the Karaoke. “The only appropriate reaction to James Corden,” wrote one user. Another added: “Honestly guys, you all can keep James Corden over in America if you want.” But others feel as if the reaction is a little too over-the-top it seems. “Dunking on James Corden isn’t some kind of creative genius or anything,” said one user, referring to the negative reception Corden has been getting from some other comedians and viewers. Though, at the end of the day, everyone has their own unique sense of humor.

  • LilyPichu wows Valkyrae, Sykkuno, and Fuslie with “awesome” Comfi Beats concert – Dexerto

LilyPichu wows Valkyrae, Sykkuno, and Fuslie with “awesome” Comfi Beats concert Twitch: ScarraStar streamer LilyPichu treated her fans to a Comfi Beats music concert and her friends Valkyrae, Fuslie, and more came along to support her. Some even joined in. As well as being a streamer, LilyPichu has a whole host of talents under her cap. She’s shown off her voice acting skills in several TV shows and video games. Not to mention, she’s also wowed viewers with her incredible animations. But it was her music which helped to launch her internet career in 2011 following the release of the viral parody song ‘I’ll Quit LoL.’ After a series of hit singles on YouTube, she even released her own album Lilies in 2015. Fans got to see her singing skills in-person on August 13 when she treated them to a music concert and a number of fellow streamers came along to show their support. LilyPichu treats fans to in-person music concert Lily’s entire performance was livestreamed by Twitch creator Scarra. Although, plenty of streamers from across the community were in attendance too. Lily, who started learning piano at 5-years-old, performed a number of her Comfi Beats hit songs including ‘Dreamy Night’, ‘BREATH (dududu)’, and ‘Waiting for Hasan.’ The man himself ‘HasanAbi’ was there to witness the wholesome moment and apparently “teared up a bit” listening to the “familiar tune.” Lily wasn’t the only one to treat the audience to some tunes. Her friend Fuslie performed a cover of Britney Spears’ ‘Toxic.’ To help with her nerves, Valkyrae, Sykkuno, Yvonne, and Miyoung took to the stage for moral support. The performance went down a storm on Twitch and soon spread to Twitter as viewers shared their congratulations to Lily and her fellow performers. Various fans called her an “icon” calling the show an “amazing” and “memorable experience.” One fan said: “Lily, your concert was truly magical! You are stronger and more incredible than you give yourself credit for! We love you.” Lily sent Twitch wild over the music concert and with many calling on the YouTuber do another one soon, it hopefully won’t be long before she treats fans to another one.

  • Lilypichu’s compliment to Valkyrae completely backfires: “This is why I’m single” – Dexerto

Lilypichu’s compliment to Valkyrae completely backfires: “This is why I’m single” Instagram: lilypichu / YouTube: ValkyraeLilypichu decided to give Valkyrae a compliment about her potential voice acting skills — but the comment completely backfired, leaving Valkyrae contemplating her dating life. Lily ‘Lilypichu’ Ki and Rachell ‘Valkyrae’ Hofstetter are both top-tier streamers with audiences ranging in the millions. While both streamers often broadcast themselves playing games with friends, Lilypichu is also a musician and voice actress, most recently lending her voice to ‘Don’t Toy With Me, Miss Nagatoro’s’ Yoshi. As such, it makes sense that Lily has a penchant for spotting potential voice acting talent — which is exactly what she did during a recent Valorant stream with Valkyrae. Valkyrae shocked by Lilypichu’s voice acting comment She, Rae, and several other streamers were queued up and ready to get into the game when Lily pointed out that Valkyrae could be a good voice actor for a certain character type. Unfortunately, that particular type wasn’t exactly what Rae is aiming for. “Oh Rae, you’d be such a good voice actress for like, little boys,” Pichu said. “Huh? What?” came the replies from their fellow streamers, prompting Pichu to explain her comment. “No, like, you’re voice acting — you would be a good voice actor for little boys,” she clarified before breaking into laughter. “You sounded like a twelve-year-old boy for a second. I mean this in a complimentary manner!” “That was my voice, Lily!” Rae shot back. “I wasn’t even acting!” “I know!” Pichu replied. “I just think there’s a tone to your voice that you could be really good at little kid voices, you know? People need that voice in a lot of animation and shows and games and stuff, you know? Oh my god, that came out so bad.” “Damn, maybe this is why I’m single!” Valkyrae said. “Because I sound like a twelve-year-old boy. F**k. How do I sound sexier?” Although it’s clear that Lily only meant to give a compliment, the kerfuffle certainly made for a hilarious moment between the group of streamers, some of whom are set to participate in the upcoming Pros vs Noobs Valorant Showmatch.

Despite the crazy photo where she could pass off as Poki’s twin, the streaming personality showed her sense of humor when she admitted “This was some photo app [by the way], my face not that slim,” before posting an up close shot of her face. • Lilypichu hits back at claims “simps” are only reason female Twitch stars get views – Dexerto

Lilypichu hits back at claims “simps” are only reason female Twitch stars get views Twitch: LilypichuPopular Twitch streamer Lily “Lilypichu” Ki has gone on the offensive over claims the platform’s biggest female Twitch creators like Pokimane and Amouranth are only famous because “simps” like watching their content and videos. On July 4, the month’s Twitch streaming stats were released. Among them were viewing numbers for the platform’s leading female content creators. The top stars included Pokimane, Jinny, LuluLuvely, and more. Topping the charts was controversial streamer Amouranth, who has dominated headlines over the past few months for her role in the hot tub and ASMR metas. She boasted a whopping 987k hours watched, 507k more than the next closest, Pokimane. It’s an impressive viewing haul, for any creator. Some Twitch fans, however, claimed there was one reason for their popularity: “simps” tuning in to watch women stream. Some even suggested the platform’s top stars wouldn’t be where they are today without that alleged boost. Lilypichu strongly disagrees — the OfflineTV star went on the offensive soon after several of these claims were made, dubbing them “totally wrong.” The biggest claims from several Twitch fans was that the platform’s headlining stars like Felix ‘xQc’ Lengyel, Ibai Llanos, and Michael ‘Shroud’ Grzesiek had “earned” their place at the top of the website, while women had been lifted beyond their deserved stardom by dedicated followers — “simps” — and simply “aren’t entertaining enough” otherwise. “That’s just not true,” Lilypichu said in response on July 8. She continued: “There are plenty of entertaining women on Twitch, it’s just easier for people to believe the “simp” narrative. “What’s your definition of simp? Someone who’s a super fan, right? Who is maybe obsessive? Donates? What makes you think top male streamers don’t have that? That description can easily fit both genders… I have a problem with the fact people overuse the word to generalize a girl’s audience. “The percentage of women streamers who do what you think they do is a lot lower than you think, why would you generalize all women streamers?” “You said almost all the [other female streamers] get most of their viewers from these ‘simps,’ so who is almost all the others?” the Offline star continued, before rattling off a lengthy list of Twitch stars she believes have fully earned their place at the top. Lilypichu’s list included streamers like Pokimane, saddummy, Jinnytty, itsHafu, Annie Fuchsia, pqueen, and more. Then she heaped praise on Amouranth too, who has come under fire recently for her unashamed efforts to turn Twitch viewers into profits; something the controversial star happily admitted recently. “If I were that hot,” Lilypichu then added, “maybe I’d do the same. No need to bring anyone down, there’s more than enough negativity in the world as is!”

  • LilyPichu reveals why OfflineTV won’t be living together anymore: “It’s really sad” – Dexerto

LilyPichu reveals why OfflineTV won’t be living together anymore: “It’s really sad” Twitch: LilyPichu / Instagram: @offlinetvTwitch streamer LilyPichu surprised viewers when she revealed that OfflineTV members are going to move out of their content house soon. The popular group will no longer live together. Two years after moving into a new content house in 2019, Lily ‘LilyPichu’ Ki has revealed that OfflineTV is actually planning on ditching the collaborative space soon. According to the streamer, fellow members Scarra, Disguised Toast, Michael Reeves, and Yvonne will all move out and live separately in their own places. OfflineTV are going to live separately During her December 16 broadcast, LilyPichu surprised viewers when she announced that OfflineTV as a whole is leaving their content house. “I can technically announce this now. I don’t think it’s a secret or anything,” she said. “I don’t know if everyone wanted to announce it together. But we aren’t going to be in this house anymore and everyone is going their own way.” The voice actor and streamer then clarified that everyone will still be in Los Angeles. “We’ll all be in LA. We will be close to each other, it’s just we will be living in separate apartments,” she continued. “But there might be like a place where we do shoots and stuff like that. And yeah, we are all just gonna move out.” Lily then opened up to viewers about how she feels emotionally about the major shakeup in the group, before explaining why the changes are happening. “It’s sad. It is very bittersweet. But.. I think people just wanted to try new things. So, yeah. People just wanted to try new things. We’ve been living together for four years.” This isn’t the first time OfflineTV members have moved out. In June 2021, Twitch star Imane ‘Pokimane‘ Anys decided to rent her own place instead of living in the content house. Jeremy ‘Disguised’ Toast Wang also briefly moved back to Canada when he was on hiatus from streaming. However, this is the first time the group as a whole has decided to live separately. Interestingly, William ‘Scarra’ Li predicted that OfflineTV wouldn’t “last much longer” during a 2021 stream. “All good things come to an end, and every year I’m always happy if it lasts one more year,” he said. At the time, Toast agreed and added, “We can’t have a house where each of us have wives, husbands, our kids, and our pets living in one place.” According to LilyPichu, she will hopefully be moved into her new apartment by December 19. As far as whether she will live with her boyfriend Miachel Reeves, she jokingly told viewers “That is none your business!” before breaking into laughter.

  • LilyPichu and scarra add hilarious twist to beautiful game soundtrack – Dexerto

LilyPichu and scarra add hilarious twist to beautiful game soundtrack Twitch streamer LilyPichu, along with retired League of Legends pro William ‘scarra’ Li, was crafting some brilliant video game music before the latter added a unique twist. In order to create unique music and a “scene,” LilyPichu likes receiving “prompts” to indicate what direction to take the theme she’s crafting. For instance, if a character is walking through a busy city, the theme would be much more uplifting than say, a battlefield. “Like, okay, town music go,” LilyPichu advised scarra as she readied herself to play the piano. “Okay,” scarra thought for a moment. “Battle music, go!” After playing for a bit, the former League star suggested the musician change it up to “epic boss music” – resulting in Lily to play some beautiful-sounding orchestral theme. However, the music swiftly stopped after scarra mentioned that it sounded like the two were at church. For whatever reason, Lily wanted the scene to change immediately, leaving the Offline TV streamer to suggest “picking herbs music.” A few moments later, the two finally found their groove and were crafting music transitioning from scene-to-scene for a character that would go from a town, to a cemetery, and eventually to a grave. “You see a grave. It’s your childhood friend… Fedmyster,” scarra joked, referencing his fellow Offline TV streamer. “On the tombstone it’s written ‘his content’.” Lily read the mood perfectly, and proceeded to change the theme drastically from the somber atmospherical track to a more silly comical tune. The end result was scarra laughing hysterically as Lily played on, hardly able to contain herself either. It was certainly a creative display of talent, both of the musical and comedic variety. Perhaps that’s one of the reasons Lily boasts an impressive number of Twitch followers (863,961), and nearly 500,000 on Twitter.

  • Lilypichu reveals key thing she’d change after SleightlyMusical breakup – Dexerto

Lilypichu reveals key thing she’d change after SleightlyMusical breakup Instagram: LilyPichuMonths after Lily ‘LilyPichu’ Ki’s high-profile breakup with SleightlyMusical following his admission of infidelity, the Twitch star has revealed there’s one thing she’d change if she had her time again. OfflineTV fans and the internet community alike became embroiled in the very public split between the two Twitch stars, which spilled onto social media after a series of subtweets from Imane ‘Pokimane’ Anys and Federico ‘Fedmyster’ Gaytan. Soon after, on November 11, LilyPichu seemed to at least partially confirm the rumors. Two days later, Albert Chang admitted he had been unfaithful to his then-girlfriend, and the news exploded across the internet. According to the Twitch star, however, the original subtweets, and both parties commenting on the issue for their fans, created a whirlwind of public attention. Everyone wanted to know what had happened behind the scenes. It was this interest, and the huge backlash Chang and Sarah ‘AvocadoPeeled’ Lee suffered soon after, that Lilypichu admits she regrets the most. “It was super public, everyone heard about it, even my parents… there were tons of videos and threads about it, people were messaging me asking about it, and it all just became so overwhelming,” she revealed to Dr. Kanojia on HealthyGamer. “[The attention] was because we were a very public couple – a pseudo-celebrity, though I don’t really like that word – and because we were a public couple, he was in all my content, and we did music together, and collaborated together.” Lily revealed she first found out her boyfriend had been seeing Lee behind her back when the OfflineTV crew was holidaying in Japan. Because she was away from home, she released a simple statement and tried to deal with it privately. The news exploded. Without any key figures weighing in beyond written statements, and short snippets of information in tweets, Lily’s community quickly turned on Albert, flooding his Instagram and Twitter with hateful messages. “If there’s one thing I could change about the breakup, it would be trying to make it more private, and break up nicely,” the Twitch star said. “Instead, everyone knows about it, and I feel bad because he also got a lot of hate. I don’t think anyone deserves that amount of hate, even if we broke up… I didn’t want it to blow up, and I feel bad about that.” Now, two months down the line, Lily is still dealing with ways to try and “move on” from the drama, and publicly losing her boyfriend of two years. “I feel really sad, still,” she added. I’m sad because I wish it didn’t happen, and I wish things could just go back to normal, but I know it’s never going to be like that again. There are days where I’m like “okay, I’m good,” but some days it just hurts.” Chang has yet to address his actions beyond his November 13 statement. He has not posted on Twitter or Instagram in the past 15 weeks, and his last YouTube upload, ’10 Years of League of Legends Music,’ was posted on October 31.

LilyPichu reveals her most embarrassing moment During a recent Q&A stream, both LilyPichu and Disguised Toast revealed their most embarrassing moments. “Probably the most embarrassing moment for me was when I was in college,” explained LilyPichu. “I went to talk about League of Legends with these guys. They were talking about Nidalee. I said, ‘hey Nidalee, I play League too. What’s your Summoner name?’ He then looked at me like I was really crazy, but I doubled down and said, ‘hey my Summoner name’s this, do you guys want to play League?’” Unfortunately, LilyPichu had read the conversation wrong and had misheard what the group was actually talking about. “They said they were talking about Italy, going to Italy. Yeah, and then I’m like ‘I’m so sorry, bye’ – then I just ran away and never talked to strangers about League of Legends again after that.” It’s certainly an embarrassing social interaction and one that will likely resonate with anyone who has ever misread a conversation.

  • LilyPichu responds to accusations of cheating on Michael Reeves – Dexerto

LilyPichu responds to accusations of cheating on Michael Reeves LilyPichu, InstagramTwitch star, musician and Offline TV member Lily ‘LilyPichu’ Ki has hit back at trolls on Reddit after being accused of cheating on fellow streamer and entertainer Michael Reeves. LilyPichu’s relationship with Reeves was preceded by her highly emotional split from streamer Albert ‘Sleightlymusical’ Chang in late 2019, after he admitted to being unfaithful to Ki following subtweets on the matter made by Offline TV members Pokimane and Fedmyster. While the drama surrounding their split has since died down, it seems that a new scandal has risen to take its place, with Ki addressing further accusations of infidelity made by Reddit trolls — this time, against her. Pichu spoke out on the subject in a series of pointed Tweets on May 11, hitting back at claims that she was cheating on new beau Michael Reeves with Fedmyster, as alleged by trolls in her private messages on Reddit. “I had a drunk stream with friends recently, which was very fun, but I do not find it fun how some people people have messaged me insinuating I’m cheating on Michael by being close to Fed,” she wrote. “It’s super f**king gross and out of line, and disappointing to read.” i had a drunk stream w friends recently which was very fun but i do not find it fun how some people ppl have messaged me insinuating i’m cheating on michael by being close to fed. it’s super fucking gross and out of line and disappointing to read. ty for coming to my ted talk. — lily 💙 (@LilyPichu) May 12, 2020 That’s not all; she also revealed that one offender had repeatedly spammed the accusations in many of the Offline TV members’ subreddits, leading LilyPichu to ultimately avoid private messaging, altogether. The streamer went on to admit that the subject of cheating is somewhat “touchy” for her, as she recently got over a heartbreak after dealing with infidelity from her previous relationship with Sleightlymusical. “I am, admittedly, a little touchy about cheating, so it made me [pouting face] for a bit, might have overreacted,” she continued. “Sorry. Stay comfy. I will be back to stream DnD tomorrow.” anyway rant tweet over. i am admittedly a little touchy about cheating so it made me 😡 for a bit, might have overreacted. sorry. stay comfy. i will be back to stream DnD tomorrow. 👋 — lily 💙 (@LilyPichu) May 12, 2020 Fans have since come out in support of Ki’s situation, with many decrying the accusations made by the Reddit trolls and reiterating that Fed and Pichu are merely longtime friends. While both Reeves and Fed have yet to speak out on the situation, Lily is supported by a community in the midst of yet another difficulty regarding her private love life in the face of further drama and speculation.

  • LilyPichu joins YouTube Gaming after 10 years on Twitch – Dexerto

LilyPichu joins YouTube Gaming after 10 years on Twitch Twitter: LilyPichuStreamer LilyPichu has revealed that she is officially moving to YouTube Gaming as her new streaming platform. The streaming war between Twitch and YouTube has a new entry as Lily Ki, better known as ‘LilyPichu,’ is the latest Twitch streamer to make the jump to YouTube. She joins a long list of other streamers who have left Twitch, once the behemoth of streaming, for YouTube. Although YouTube is and has been the king of video hosting, it did not start investing into a live-streaming service until 2015 with the launch of YouTube Gaming. Since then, YouTube Gaming has managed to stake itself as a strong challenger to Twitch by acquiring big-name streamers like Dr Disrespect, Valkyrae, and recently Sykkuno. Now, another big-name streamer is joining that list. On Twitter, LilyPichu confirmed that she was leaving Twitch and joining YouTube Gaming as a content creator. The video heavily featured her dogs Temmie & DaVinky who helped make her decision. In a follow-up tweet, LilyPichu acknowledged and appreciated her time at Twitch, but let her followers know that she would have her first ever YouTube stream from Japan with the rest of Offline TV. The switch is notable not just because YouTube managed to pry away a beloved streamer from Twitch, but that Lily has been tied to Twitch for so long. This year marked her 10th anniversary as a partnered streamer on Twitch, so the decision to leave on such a landmark is quite curious. it’s my 10th partnered year on twitch 🥹 gonna be doing things all day tomorrow to celebrate, piano sprinkled in between stuff~ https://t.co/HDmwPSd3zr [graphics: @shystarfall] pic.twitter.com/U3Ezaxq1gD — lily 💙 (@LilyPichu) June 29, 2022 While this marks a significant blow to Twitch, YouTube Gaming is still lagging behind in the streaming wars. In addition to having a lower marketshare, despite a substantial investment, YouTube Gaming has been called out by some of its biggest stars like Dr Disrespect for not taking care of its creators.

  • LilyPichu oblivious as she gets rare Genshin Impact character in one try – Dexerto

LilyPichu oblivious as she gets rare Genshin Impact character in one try Twitch: lilypichu / miHoYoPopular Twitch streamer LilyPichu was hilariously oblivious when she somehow managed to pull rare five-star character Venti in Genshin Impact, mistakenly thinking that every player receives the coveted character for free. Genshin Impact has been the latest in a string of hugely popular games in 2020, following in the footsteps of Fall Guys and Among us to secure millions of global users, rising through the ranks on Twitch and YouTube as the game gains popularity. The game is a huge open world RPG that sees players explore the stunning and vast world of Teyvat, fighting monsters and progressing through the exciting main story. It is free to play, but relies on a gacha mechanic to draw in income, having players use an in-game currency known as ‘wishes’ to enter weapon and character draws, attempting to obtain their favorite of a diverse cast of characters. However, due to the rarity of some characters, people have ended up spending thousands of dollars on wishes trying to get the people they want the most, particularly 5 star characters such as Venti. But, popular streamer LilyPichu, who has over 1.5 million followers on Twitch, incredibly beat those odds when she began playing Genshin Impact for the first time ever. LilyPichu gets Venti on first try On her first pull with the Beginner’s Wish banner she got given Noelle, who’s a maid at the Knight’s headquarters and a four star character, which was by no means a bad result for her first try at the wish mechanic. A little later she decided to give Venti’s banner a try – Venti being a highly desirable five star character who’s notoriously difficult to get with just the ten free wishes that the game gives out at the start. As she started to pull weapons, Lily said “what are these weapons? Where’s venti? I rolled for the Venti, where’s the Venti?” In a crazy twist, Venti popped up on her screen just four wishes in. Lily was unbeknownst to the rarity of the situation, and calmly said “wait is that it? Wow do you get a free Venti if you roll? Wow, so everyone gets a free Venti, that’s cool.” The chat immediately went crazy, saying “this is insane” and “how is this possible?” and joked that she had “streamer luck” to get Venti on her first try. One viewer even said they “wasted $100” to secure the highly desired character, proving just how lucky Lily was. The hilarious moment had fans reeling in the chat long after she started playing as the character, the character gacha system never failing to cause a stir.

  • LilyPichu explains why she and Michael Reeves are living separately – Dexerto

LilyPichu explains why she and Michael Reeves are living separately Instagram: lilypichuVoice actor, musician, and Twitch star LilyPichu hit back at viewers speculating why she and boyfriend Michael Reeves are no longer living together. OfflineTV is a group of popular Twitch streamers who, until recently, mostly all lived together in the same house. The organization, comprised of such names as LilyPichu, Michael Reeves, Pokimane, Scarra, Disguised Toast, and more, officially announced they were moving out in December 2021 after two years of being roommates. LilyPichu explained that, although they will be leaving to focus on their own content, the group will still create videos together from time to time in a shared space. That being said, fans were surprised to see that Lily wasn’t living with boyfriend and fellow social media star Michael Reeves after the move. The two began officially dating in February 2021, some time after LilyPichu’s split from Albert ‘Sleightlymusical’ Chang in late 2019. Although the entire group has found their own apartments, some fans thought that it was strange that she and Reeves aren’t living together, considering their relationship status. LilyPichu hits back at Michael Reeves breakup rumors Lily hit back at the speculation during a recent Twitch stream, clarifying that she and Reeves are still dating in spite of rumors to the contrary. “I’m tired of explaining it,” she began. “We’re living separately. We just are. Everyone is living separately. There’s no deep reason. I don’t need any people trying to be like, ‘Oh, you guys are breaking up.’ It’s incredibly annoying.” “The thing is, I don’t mind telling people the reason,” she continued. “We’re just living separately. That’s it. There’s no deep meaning. The problem is, it’s not good enough for some people.” (Topic begins at 0:42) It looks like these two content creators are simply spending some time apart in the wake of the big changes to OfflineTV. There appear to be no relationship problems between them, leaving fans relieved and excited to see what the future has in store for them.

  • LilyPichu explains why she left Twitch for YouTube Gaming – Dexerto

LilyPichu explains why she left Twitch for YouTube Gaming LilypichuPopular streamer and OfflineTV star Lily ‘LilyPichu’ Ki has explained her reasoning behind why she left Twitch for a surprise move to YouTube Gaming. LilyPichu is the latest of many streamers to jump ship from Twitch and sign contracts with YouTube as the war of the live streaming platform continues. After 10 years of being on the platform, the streamer will be leaving her impressive following of 2.5M behind to stream exclusively on YouTube. However, despite her long history with Twitch, according to Lily, the decision was an easy one to make. During her first stream on YouTube on July 8, the OfflineTV member revealed some context behind why she made the jump to YouTube. While other streamers in her position were enticed to make the switch due to a lack of effort on Twitch’s part, Lily’s situation is a tad different. “I felt like I wasn’t really going anywhere on Twitch,” she admitted to her fans. “Financial stability, change of space… if I’m going to fall off, I might as well fall off on YouTube where I get paid, so yeah. “It’s kinda cool because I’ve went full circle. I started with YouTube and now I’m ending with YouTube. Do you know how many music videos I can fund now,” she added. “Also YouTube if you want to push comfi beats in your algorithm I’m not going to complain about that. Overall, it was an easy decision.” As we’ve quickly learned, nothing is off the table for YouTube when it comes to signing streamers to an exclusive deal. In the past year, we’ve seen top Twitch stars make the move, and we probably shouldn’t expect Lily to be the last streamer to take a deal with YouTube either. However, only time will tell who will be next.

  • LilyPichu explains how her dog accidentally got “very high” – Dexerto

LilyPichu explains how her dog accidentally got “very high” Instagram/lilypupchu/Twitch/LilyPichuTwitch streamer and OfflineTV member Lily ‘LilyPichu’ Ki told her stream the hilarious story of how her dog Temmie became super high, resulting in a panicked trip to the vet. On January 30, the streamer recalled how she found her dog upstairs, immobile, surrounded by puddles of puke that smelled like chocolate. According to Ki, she rushed to the vet, extremely concerned for her pup’s safety. A few moments after giving the dog to the veterinarian, the doctor asked LilyPichu to join him in another room. “I’m going to need you to be very honest with me,” the vet firmly requested. “Does anyone in your house smoke cannabis?” After ensuring Ki that she could tell him without needing to worry about losing her animal, she recalled how there had been a party at her house a day earlier, and people were likely lighting up at the time. “Alright, I just need to let you know, your dog is really high right now,” the veterinarian explained. As she remembered the story, LilyPichu burst into laughter. “He’s like, ‘yeah, your dog is very high right now.’” Fortunately for the streamer, her Pomeranian pup was going to be okay. “My emotions were all over the place,” she admitted. “Apparently someone left a weed chocolate on the ground or something, and she ate it.” The dog still had to get her stomach pumped, since she ate chocolate, but was perfectly fine otherwise. However, when Lily picked the dog up later, she was warned that the canine was still very high, and that it would take a few hours for the drug to wear off. “She was vibing the whole day,” LilyPichu joked. Thankfully, this story had a happy ending, but it still provided a valuable lesson for dog owners: be careful with anything party-goers bring into your house.

LilyPichu rocked the streaming community when she joined the ever-growing list of creators who made the move from Twitch to YouTube. It was a particular shock for many given how Lily had been streaming on Twitch for ten years before the change. In reality, Lily had already established herself as a veteran YouTuber. Back in 2011, she went viral on the platform following the release of ‘I’ll Quit LoL’ and it’s clear her early years on YouTube still hold a special place in her heart. Poki’s tweet garnered more than 30,000 responses. • Lily Singh roasts YouTube’s top male creators, including PewDiePie, Logan Paul, and more – Dexerto

Lily Singh roasts YouTube’s top male creators, including PewDiePie, Logan Paul, and more YouTuber Lily Singh released a parody video of Nicki Minaj’s song ‘Barbie Dreams,’ where she took some pretty savage shots at YouTube’s most popular male creators. The song’s premise is centered around Lily wanting to shoot a video with a top male YouTuber, but she is ultimately unable to due to their perceived ‘flaws.’ “…Most of these boys, they can’t hit the spot/ Gotta pretend to finish, like Casey did with his Vlog,” she said in reference to Neistat’s previous vlogging hiatus. Her video even features some of the YouTubers in question, including Anthony Padilla from Smosh, Alex Wassabi, Swoozie, and Kingsley. Lily took aim at some other pretty big faces in the YouTube sphere, as well, such as PewDiePie, Philip DeFranco, and even Fortnite/Twitch legend Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins. “Need a loyal guy like Ninja who is fully equipped/ Won’t live stream with other chicks because he’s fully whipped,” she rapped, citing Ninja’s recent controversy over declining to stream with women. Lily stated that the purpose of her video was to poke some good-natured fun at the men in question, and assured that her rap didn’t contain any legitimate beef. “Can the internet still take a joke?,” she wrote in the video’s description. “I’d like to think yes! …I feel like these days everyone takes everything and everyone so seriously. This is my little way of saying chill. Life is too short to be so serious and offended by everything.” The video currently has over 1,200,000 views as of October 10, and has largely been taken in good spirits by victims of Singh’s savage rhymes.

LilyPichu asks fans not to attack SleightlyMusical after his return to streaming LilyPichu / SleightlymusicalPopular Twitch streamer LilyPichu has implored her fans not to send unnecessary hate to former partner Albert, a.k.a Slightlymusical, after their unexpected public breakup in late 2019. LilyPichu has a huge follower base of over 1.5 million on Twitch, and is a member of the streamer collective OfflineTV along with fellow streamers such as Pokimane, DisguisedToast, among others. After a series of subtweets in November 2019 by popular streamers who are close to Lily, rumors began to circulate that her boyfriend Albert had been unfaithful. As the theories gained more and more traction, Lily explained that the pair had split, but didn’t explain why. Shortly after, Albert himself revealed on social media that he had in fact cheated on Lily, saying “I chose to be unfaithful to Lily, and caused her an excruciating amount of pain. I’m incredibly sorry for my selfish and irredeemable behavior.” He also announced an “indefinite hiatus” from streaming, and has been off the radar for almost an entire year. However when Albert revealed he would be returning to the platform after a long break, former girlfriend Lily was quick to ask her fans to not send any hate his way, despite the painful drama from the previous year. “Okay, so recently Albert made his return video, and he’s gonna come back to streaming,” she began. “Some people have said my fans give him hate, and I really don’t like that, because I don’t condone that kind of stuff.” She went on to express her understanding of her loyal fans anger, saying “you don’t have to support him obviously, you can do whatever you want. But we’re on good terms, and I would appreciate it if no one in my fan base sent anything like that, okay?” Albert’s return video on YouTube has reached over 250,000 views, with fans curious about what the streamer had been up to in his long hiatus.

  • Lilly Singh responds to complaints of “uncomfortable” late night show – Dexerto

Lilly Singh responds to complaints of “uncomfortable” late night show Lilly Singh, YouTubeYouTube star Lilly Singh debuted her very own late night show, ‘A Little Late with Lilly Singh,’ in Fall 2019 — but it was met with exceedingly harsh reviews from critics, which she finally addressed in a soul-baring video on May 13, 2020. Singh’s foray into late night hosting has been continually met with backlash from critics and fellow YouTubers since its inception, with many taking issue with her constant reminder to viewers that she is a “bisexual woman of color” throughout the series. Still others noted that Singh’s show was incredibly awkward at times, with some discovering forced laugh tracks played at certain points — all issues the YouTuber brought up in her May 13 video discussing the matter. https://www.instagram.com/p/B_TLJ2WJjWc/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link After announcing her show had been approved for a second season (with a humorous rap to deliver the surprising news), Singh uploaded a second video, titled, “My Honest Thoughts About My Late Night Show.” In her video, she admitted that the series had filmed over 90 episodes in the span of three months due to scheduling issues, and since it was her first time undertaking such a massive project, Singh was also learning on the go, so to speak. “The schedule didn’t always allow me to have a monologue that I was 100% about,” she admitted. “Sometimes I would feel a little eh about it, but the show had to go on. And yeah, I’m well aware that in some episodes, I look hella uncomfortable. And you know what? That’s probably because I am!” “The truth is, it was my season one of doing something brand-new,” she continued. “And season one Lilly reminded me a lot like first YouTube video Lilly. Everything takes time and takes practice. …I’m proud of season one, but I know there’s a lot to improve on.” Singh went on to note that she was “well aware” of fans’ criticism of her show and was taking their feedback into consideration for its second season — although when the show will be filmed is still up in the air, considering current global circumstances. For now, fans are hopeful that Singh’s second season will prove better than the first — a sentiment that the YouTuber herself is in total agreement with, boasting a positive outlook for the future project to apply her knowledge from her first season’s blunders.

Lilly Singh under fire for Dancehall song remake Lilly Singh, YouTubeYouTuber and late night television host Lilly Singh is facing backlash from critics on social media after uploading her own take on the classic Dancehall tune “Badman Forward.” While Singh is a hugely successful YouTuber, the internet star came under scrutiny in fall 2019 for her late night show, ‘A Little Late with Lilly Singh,’ with many critics taking issue for how she continually addressed her race and sexuality. However, her show isn’t the brunt of their frustrations as of late; the entertainer is now facing backlash over her rendition of a well-loved Dancehall tune. In a Tweet on April 27, Singh uploaded a remixed version of Ding Dong’s “Badman Forward,” which she changed to focus on women and body positivity. “A classic dancehall tune!” Singh captioned her video. “‘Badman Forward’ remake, and this time it’s for the ladies. No matter your size, shape, colour, orientation, preferences or style, this one is for you sister. Tag every badgyal you know!” While her take on the song was intended to shine a positive light on female empowerment, critics across the net aren’t happy with her version of the track — nor her adoption of Patois and Indo-Caribbean culture. Lil Yachty responds to Bryce Hall amid Addison Rae verse beef YouTube: Bryce Hall , lil yachtyRapper and FaZe Clan member Lil Yachty has somehow stirred up beef with TikTok star Bryce Hall after mentioning Hall’s girlfriend, influencer Addison Rae, in a song. In possibly the most unexpected moment of 2020, it seems that one of TikTok’s biggest names has called out a major rapper, resulting in a Twitter feud that has everyone’s eyes glued to their smartphone screens. Lil Yachty — who notably joined esports group FaZe Clan in 2018 — mentioned TikToker Addison Rae in his song E-ER, the lyrics for which many of Rae’s fans are finding offensive. “I want Addison Rae to become my doctor and check on my problems / Put her in a skirt and a scarf like pilot / He didn’t make it past the first clip like a polyp,” the song goes. (Lyrics start at 2:06) While fans slammed the song for “sexualizing young girls,” it seems that Lil Yachty took the scandal to an entirely different level by making sure Rae’s boyfriend, Bryce Hall, heard the lyrics for himself. In fact, Yachty replied to Hall’s tweet asking fans what song he should listen to with his lyrics mentioning Addison from E-ER. Yikes! At this part specifically actually https://t.co/nGVOXof5H4 pic.twitter.com/Xc5mnxOjA8 — CONCRETE BOY BOAT^ (@lilyachty) December 4, 2020 It looks like Hall isn’t super enthused by a rapper talking about his girl, though, replying to Yachty’s tweet with a photo of himself and Addison getting cozy. “Lol **** I don’t want yo b**ch boy,” Yachty responded. That’s not all; the rapper even posted a video discussing the issue, where he humorously explained that he doesn’t actually want any beef with the TikToker. “Look, yo, bro, please don’t shoot me with your TikTok gunner,” he joked. “We don’t want no TikTok smoke with your TikTok girlfriend. I’m just a TikTok rapper, bro, and I made a TikTok song with a TikTok verse.” “We don’t want no TikTok smoke,” he continued. “Please. Don’t get your TikTok goons. We don’t want none of that. Please. Sorry.” Thus far, it doesn’t seem that Hall has anything more to say to Lil Yachty regarding his controversial verse — but we wouldn’t put it past the self-described “party animal” to hit back with a track of his own.

In the video, a mock YouTube HQ is overtaken with an avalanche of views and comments from Shane’s latest upload, comparable to an approaching horde of zombies or the dinosaurs of Jurassic Park. “You guys, you have to get back to work,” Singh said to her faux employees, who were collectively hypnotized by Shane’s video. “But it’s an eight-part series,” they replied in monotone. Singh explained that her video was not meant as a roast, but rather as a funny take on how big Shane’s series has become. “I just really wanted to make a video on how innovative and game-changing Shane has been recently,” she stated at the end of the video. “Kudos to him, yo – you’ve been killing the game!” OMG :sob: the youtube employee hiding the trending page from me might be my favorite moment of 2018 hahahahaha — Shane Dawson (@shanedawson) October 16, 2018 Dawson even responded to the hilarious clip in good spirits, Tweeting, “OMG, the YouTube employee hiding the trending page from me might be my favorite moment of 2018.” Dawson’s documentary series has been breaking massive records on the platform, topping YouTube’s trending page and even surpassing major Netflix shows.
