Lil Yachty Ends His Fortnite Stream in a Rage After Chat Says He Sucks – “I don’t care, I’m a millionaire” Rapper Lil Yachty turned his Twitch stream on for the first time in months on Saturday August 4, to play the Black Ops 4 beta and Fortnite, but turned it off abruptly after his chat turned against him. Lil Yachty has been more involved in the gaming community this year, starting his Twitch channel and attending the Pro-Am Fortnite tournament at E3. But as any streamer will confirm, Twitch chat can be a volatile place, and even more so for a famous rapper who already splits opinion amongst music fans. Viewers in his chat started to spam with messages about how Yachty ‘sucked’, both at rapping and playing video games, which prompted him to turn off the stream. He responded to the haters first though, saying “I don’t care, I’m a millionaire” and telling them exactly what he thought of them. “I do suck, I don’t care. I am a millionaire. Fuck what you talking about, I don’t give a fuck. Let me suck. My house big as shit. I got six cars. Fuck y’all.” Only about 30 seconds later, he said he had to go somewhere, and cut the stream short. He had been streaming for over an hour however, and for someone like Lil Yachty, his schedule is probably hectic. Yachty also tried out some of his viewers suggestions for music during the stream, including a song by IRL streamer ‘EBZ’ called ‘Gator Skin’, but he wasn’t impressed. Lil Yachty did say he would try to be back streaming more regularly, following the release of his album earlier this year. With Black Ops 4 round the corner, Yachty fans may be in for some more gaming action soon. He started his channel with the release of the last Call of Duty, WWII, before moving to stream Fortnite more often.

Larray deletes Tweet In the deleted Tweet, American social media star Larray previously stated “you mad I made it on Billboard this year and you didn’t,” prompting rapper Yachty to respond with “Oh, but I definitely did sis, and more than once.” For context, the TikTok star debuted at 81 on Billboard in 2020 when he released his song ‘Cancelled,’ which dealt with the current wave of social media stars that have received backlash from the internet. He directly referenced controversies surrounding celebrities such as Jeffree Star, James Charles, Shane Dawson & Tana Mongeau. In comparison, Lil Yachty debuted more than once on Billboard in 2020, with songs such as ‘Oprah’s Bank Account’ and ‘T.D’ featuring icons such as Drake, DaBaby & Tyler, The Creator. Lil Yachty hits back Another now-deleted Tweet features three selfies of Larray, with a caption stating that he might be leaving his iconic headband behind as we head into the new year. Lil Yachty apologizes to Bryce Hall over Addison Rae ‘E-ER’ verse – Dexerto
Lil Yachty apologizes to Bryce Hall over Addison Rae ‘E-ER’ verse Instagram: brycehall, lilyachtyAtlanta rapper Lil Yachty has apologized to TikTok star Bryce Hall over a reference he made to Hall’s girlfriend and TikTok sensation Addison Rae in a verse of his hit song E-ER with DJ Scheme, Ski Mask the Slump God and Danny Towers. Since Bryce and Addison finally confirmed that they are once again dating, fans have been absolutely ecstatic at the news, and the two have been proudly showing each other off to the world. Now, though, there has been a bit of beef between Bryce and famous rapper Lil Yachty, after fans realized that he mentioned Addison in a song — and it wasn’t particularly savory, either. After the beef escalated throughout the opening days of December, the two decided to pair up on the NELK Boys’ Twitch stream and talk it out — and Yachty apologized over the situation. With NELK’s Kyle Forgeard wanting to squash the beef, he managed to bring them together to settle their differences. After some back and forth jokes between the two, Yachty finally bit the bullet and apologized for what had gone down. “If I woke up and somebody said some shit about my b**ch, I would probably feel a type of way,” the rapper said. “So I apologize for the simple fact of I’m a man, you’re a man, and that is your girl. I don’t want to have any reason to disrespect you. And I f**k with Addison!” Yachty did clarify that he wrote the verse a few months ago before they were actually together, but that he understands where Bryce’s frustration is coming from. It seems there’s no more legitimate beef between the two, but they made several jokes about putting together a boxing match to make some money — so this might not be the last time we see these two on-screen together.

Lil Uzi Vert is a big xQc fan and roasts Adin Ross: “He’d smack the s**t out of you” xQc/Adin Ross/Lil Uzi VertStar rapper Lil Uzi Vert roasted his friend and star streamer Adin Ross during a Twitch broadcast and claimed xQc is a better streamer that even has a more extravagant car. Although Lil Uzi Vert is known for being one of the most popular rappers on the planet, he’s also dipped his hand into the world of Twitch streaming. He’s known to pop up on Adin Ross’ stream from time to time, as the two have formed a friendship that has hilariously played out on the live streaming site. While the two enjoying roasting each other, Uzi hit Adin hard this time, claiming fellow star streamer xQc outshines him on the platform – and is richer, too. Lil Uzi roasts Adin Ross and praises xQc Uzi was streaming with Adin Ross on February 17 when the two started going at it. “The f**k you talking about? Shut your b***h ass up”, Ross shouted at Uzi. “xQc? He looks like he’d smack the s**t out of you,” the rapper replied. “And he’s got a better car, too. He’s better than you. I’m about to start f**kin’ with him.” Uzi was also impressed that xQc bought a McLaren, though the streamer can’t drive it due to not having a driver’s license. With xQc’s viewership numbers and streaming hours at the very top, it’s no wonder he was impressed. Lil Uzi Vert continues to pop up on Adin’s channel, leaving fans hopeful one day he will start streaming on his own page.

Lil Xan’s IRL stream takes bizarre turn with cigarette burn session – Dexerto
Lil Xan’s IRL stream takes bizarre turn with cigarette burn session Lil Xan, Instagram / FreepikFormer Soundcloud rapper “Lil Xan” is one of the music industry’s most divisive “mumble rappers” – and he’s taking this status to the next level, as shown during a live stream on September 26. “No Jumper” podcast host Adam “Adam22” Grandmaison caught a snippet of the stream for himself, taken in Lil Xan’s garage. The clip shows the rapper in his spacious garage surrounded by a group of friends, where they engaged in an unusual – and painful – activity in front of the camera. 600https://www.instagram.com/p/BvXH0A8H-sS/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_linkAs it so happens, cigarette burn tattoos are actually a thing that people do in their spare time, and Lil Xan provided the artistic talent necessary for this activity during his live stream, dragging the end of a cigarette over his friend’s thigh in an attempt at drawing a smiley face. Of course, this prompted an outburst of shouting from his friend due to the pain, who gave a few good-humored insults while Adam22 advised from the sidelines. 600https://www.instagram.com/p/B2IUjCVBhbr/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link“You gotta fuckin’ finish the tattoo, you motherfucker!” his friend yelled, taking drags of his own cig in between “inking” sessions – much to Adam’s amusement. “I’m about to pass out in pain! …I can’t fucking not scream, this is horrible!” It seems that Lil Xan’s artistic abilities took a humorous turn, as the rapper ended up drawing a more “unamused” face on his friend’s leg, rather than a true “smiley” face – a pastime that Adam22 roasted with a well-timed jab. “Yo, y’all just do this,” he commented. “Y’all just sit around and do this.” Lil Xan is doing a live stream from his garage and he’s burning his friend with cigarettes currently pic.twitter.com/Sj4my9fDWw — adam22 (@adam22) September 27, 2019 Adam22 is a popular face in both the music and online entertainment industries, having interviewed a slew of high-profile artists for his podcast – and Lil Xan is no stranger to the online world, either, having dated YouTuber Tana Mongeau for a short period before parting ways with the star after allegedly “cheating” on her. The rapper was confronted about this matter by Mongeau’s now-husband Jake Paul some time later, with the two appearing to make amends on the set of Xan’s music video – although it seems he has other hobbies aside from just making music, as told by his “eventful” live stream.

Lil Tay’s mom gives update on daughter after viral death hoax – Dexerto
Lil Tay’s mom gives update on daughter after viral death hoax Instagram: liltayThe mother of social media star Lil Tay has given an update on her ongoing custody battle with her child’s father, who is set to pay a quarter-million in back child support. 14-year-old social media star Lil Tay first went viral back in 2018 for flexing copious amounts of cash and luxury homes, seemingly playing an exaggerated character of an overly-indulged rich kid. Her videos took the internet by storm, with many netizens criticizing the youngster for her irreverent behavior and hypothesizing that her wealth wasn’t really hers. It wasn’t long afterwards that Tay stepped back from social media and started leading a more private life. However, in August 2023, a message was posted to her Instagram account claiming that both she and her brother had passed away. The post was later confirmed to be a hoax, with Tay saying in a statement to TMZ that her Instagram account “was compromised by a 3rd party and used to spread jarring misinformation and rumors.” Lawyers give update on Lil Tay custody battle after death hoax goes viral Tay was relatively silent after this — but a statement from her mother’s lawyers was posted to her Instagram account on August 18, which gave the public an update on the current custody arrangement between her folks. “MacLean Law successfully obtained orders for our client that have enabled her daughter to advance her career,” the firm wrote. Those orders included her father, Christopher Hope, paying a whopping $275,000 in back child support from 2014, as well as ongoing monthly child support. The orders also place “sole day-to-day and final decision-making powers” in Tay’s interests to her mother, Angela Tian. Lil Tay will also primarily live with her mother, and the two will be allowed to relocate out of Vancouver if they so wish. “I have been financially ruined fighting for my daughter’s rights and freedom, which should have never been taken away to begin with,” Tay’s mother said in a statement to TMZ. “We have won our case in court and my children and I can finally move on from this nightmare. My daughter can pursue and achieve her dreams on her own terms, and we are finally a happy family again, together.” Thus far, Lil Tay has yet to issue another statement regarding the matter, but we’ll be sure to keep you updated right here at Dexerto if she does.

Lil Uzi Vert explains why they decided to quit making music – Dexerto
Lil Uzi Vert explains why they decided to quit making music Youtube: Lil Uzi VertLil Uzi Vert once again said they were ready to retire from music and that LUV Is Rage 3 would be their last album. It’s not the first time Lil Uzi Vert has announced a retirement from the music business. In October 2023, they told a crowd at their Chicago show that LUV Is Rage 3 would be their final album. They then claimed they would tour the record but talk time to “try to live a normal life” afterward. Now, it appears the rapper remains resolute on plans to retire. “I love making music, but I don’t really want to make music like that no more,” they told TMZ in an interview on December 24. With retirement coming down the pike, Lil Uzi Vert sets their sights on venturing into another industry altogether, and it’s not what you’d expect. Why did Lil Uzi Vert quit making music? In the TMZ interview, Lil Uzi Vert was asked about what direction they might go in next. They revealed that they “want to make women’s clothes,” adding that an office is already under construction and will be located in their home. Their girlfriend JT (a member of hip-hop duo City Girls) will not be involved, said the rapper. “JT got her own stuff going on—her own line, which looks really nice,” they said. Later, reporters broached the subject of “Everybody,” a collaboration with Nicki Minaj on her Pink Friday 2 album. The talented rapper teased that a music video is most definitely in the works and could be coming sooner rather than later. By the sounds of things, it might be a minute before the rapper completely leaves music behind, but they seem pretty determined to explore other opportunities as they come. Lil Tay spotted in public for first time in years after viral death hoax – Dexerto
Lil Tay spotted in public for first time in years after viral death hoax YouTube: The Hollywood FixSocial media star Lil Tay was spotted in public for the first time in years after going quiet online and accusing her father of being behind the viral Instagram hoax claiming she had died. 14-year-old influencer Lil Tay has had a tumultuous career. The youngster first gained fame in the late 2010’s for flexing massive amounts of cash and bragging about her supposed wealth in a series of videos that went viral across social media. However, her claim to fame was quickly questioned as rumors rose that Tay was being “coached” in her videos by her older half-brother and forced to make content by her mother — claims she denied in an interview with Good Morning America. Tay went quiet online in the midst of a custody battle between her parents in 2018 and has been largely silent since then… until a viral hoax was posted to her Instagram page alleging that both she and her brother had died. Tay refuted these claims shortly afterward, but later alleged that her father had been behind the entire ordeal. Her allegations followed some major news in her parents’ custody battle, wherein her father was ordered to pay a quarter-million in back child support from 2014. Lil Tay makes first public appearance after claiming father was behind death hoax Now, Tay has finally been spotted in public after many years of silence and major drama that rocked the internet. Paparazzi followed the young influencer as she made her way out of the LAX airport on September 27, 2023, where she was hounded by questions about the viral death hoax and her accusations against her father. Tay refused to answer any of these queries and remained stoically silent, dressed in a black hoodie with dark eyeglasses. Thus far, the situation surrounding Lil Tay remains a mystery, but fans are hopeful that the influencer will open up about her personal life when she feels ready.

Lil Tay slams JoJo Siwa as shady tweet sparks viral feud – Dexerto
Lil Tay slams JoJo Siwa as shady tweet sparks viral feud Instagram: liltay, itsjojosiwaInternet icons Lil Tay and JoJo Siwa may have never been close, but there seems to be no chance of a friendship between them after JoJo allegedly liked and unliked a tweet calling Lil Tay “pathetic.” Earlier this week, YouTuber, Dance Moms alum, and singer JoJo Siwa allegedly liked and unliked a tweet calling young influencer Lil Tay a ‘pathetic meme.’ “There’s really no comparison between JoJo and #LilTay anyway. #JoJoSiwa has a career. Lil Tay is just a meme, and a pathetic one at that,” read the tweet made by a fan, ‘TheBookN3rd.’ While the two are budding music artists, Lil Tay wanted it known that there is no comparison between them, as she called JoJo out for being a “Madonna from Dollar Tree.” “You’re a scary a** b*tch if you have something too say about me. Say it, and this time DON’T delete your comment or unlike shady tweets!” responded Lil Tay. The singer continued, “Don’t let those paid YouTube views and botted Spotify streams get to your head, Madonna from Dollar Tree a** b*tch.” Another fan also tweeted that Lil Tay was looking for relevancy, to which she replied by calling the poster “stupid.” This isn’t the first time this year that JoJo has been highlighted in the media. In March, she revealed her new image that she described in a video as “not made for children,” saying it may be “disturbing or offensive” to viewers. Some fans of Siwa weren’t keen on her new look and quickly made their opinions heard. One commenter told her to not “sell her soul to the devil,” while another asked her to not turn down the same road as singer Miley Cyrus. Not only that but, she was accused this April of “stealing” a TikToker’s song titled ‘Choose your Fighter,’ which had been uploaded to the platform in October 2022 by singer/songwriter Emeline. However, Lil Tay has seen little limelight since the viral ‘death’ hoax that surrounded her in August 2023 when a post claimed that both she and her brother had died. This was untrue, and she returned to social media shortly thereafter, with claims that her father had allegedly abused her as a child. She also alleged that her father tried to profit off of the viral death hoax by setting up a crypto coin in her honor. Despite the drama, she came back shortly after in September 2023 by releasing her single ‘SUCKER 4 GREEN (MONEY),’ and followed up with a music video for the track that elaborated her taste for the finer things in life. Though Lil Tay and JoJo may have never considered themselves friends before, it’s clear that after this latest social media clash, they won’t be heading down the path of friendship any time soon.

Lil Tay hits back at claims heart tumor diagnosis is a hoax – Dexerto
Lil Tay hits back at claims heart tumor diagnosis is a hoax YouTube: Lil TayLil Tay has hit back at claims that her “life-threatening” heart tumor diagnosis is a hoax. The 17-year-old influencer went viral on September 11, 2024, after posts on her X account revealed that they had “devastating” news to share about Lil Tay. The account then claimed that she had been diagnosed with a “life-threatening” brain tumor and was admitted into the hospital’s Intensive Care Unit. “Tay has been diagnosed with a life-threatening heart tumor. We ask kindly for everyone’s love and prayers,” they said in the post. Viewers across X have called the claims a hoax since they first went viral, with many stating that Lil Tay’s “rent is due again” – implying that the posts may be done as a way to go viral and generate revenue on her channels. On top of that, her initial post about the news has received a community note claiming the whole thing is fake. Her X account hit back at the claims, calling it “misleading” and asked for people to continue praying for Tay. “This community note is misleading, as something is indeed wrong with Tay. Last time, it was her absentee father who hacked into her accounts and faked her death. However, this time, she is in the ICU,” the post reads. “She was diagnosed with a heart tumor. But we will keep you updated as we receive more information. Please continue to pray for Tay.” Viewers remain skeptical about the posts due to an incident that took place back in 2023, where Lil Tay’s Instagram account announced the death of her and her brother. After regaining access to the account, Tay claimed that her father had taken it over to share the viral hoax. She’s since came back to social media and launched a music career. Tay posts her music videos on YouTube and has since amassed over 400,000 subscribers and almost 10 million views.

Lil Tay sparks panic over claims she’s admitted to ICU and in “serious condition” – Dexerto
Lil Tay sparks panic over claims she’s admitted to ICU and in “serious condition” YouTube: LIL TAYFans of internet star Lil Tay are left anxiously seeking answers after the influencer’s X account asked viewers to “please pray” for the young music artist. Lil Tay is a social media star who first gained fame in childhood thanks to her viral videos ‘flexing’ on her haters with large wads of cash and luxury cars. In 2023, her social media accounts were hacked with claims that the star had died; and now, a year later, fans are once again worried that something dark could be happening in Tay’s home life. On September 11, 2024, Lil Tay’s X account made two separate posts that sparked panic from fans. The first read: “We have devastating news about Tay.” Three hours later, another post was made on Tay’s account: “Please pray for Tay. We will be updating you as more information becomes available.” Netizens rushed to the comments section, worried about the star’s status — but others claimed they won’t fall for a ‘hoax’ a second time. “We not falling for this again, buddy,” one user replied. “You’ve done this before, how am I supposed to believe anything from ya now,” another said. Tay’s Instagram claims influencer is “in serious condition” That same day, a private chat was created through Tay’s Instagram account called ‘Tay Emergency Updates.’ On September 12, a photo was posted to this chat, showing the interior of a hospital with signs directing patients to the pediatric intensive care unit. “Tay is currently in the ICU in serious condition,” a message in the chat reads. Lil Tay allegedly diagnosed with “life threatening” heart tumor Later that day on September 12, Tay’s Instagram account posted a video showing an ultrasound, supposedly of the star’s heart. In the video, viewers can make out what the narrator called a “bubble” inside her heart as it beat. “Tay has been diagnosed with a life threatening heart tumor,” the post’s caption said. “We ask kindly for everyone’s love and prayers.” Thus far, Tay herself has not commented on these developments, leaving viewers skeptical until further proof is provided. As previously mentioned, a similar incident occurred in summer 2023 after Tay’s Instagram account was reportedly hacked. The hackers posted a message to Tay’s profile claiming that both she and her brother had died. “It is with a heavy heart that we share the devastating news of our beloved Claire’s sudden and tragic passing,” the post read. “We have no words to express the unbearable loss and indescribable pain.” However, it was later revealed that the entire ordeal was merely a ‘hoax,’ and that both Tay and her brother were alive and well. Tay claimed that her father was behind the ordeal and alleged that he abused her while supposedly hoping to profit from the hoax as part of a cryptocurrency scheme. In the months that followed, Tay made a comeback on social media with a new music career and has been active on her X account… but these latest posts are drawing both concern and speculation from curious viewers.

Lil Tay “fighting for her life” in Canada’s Supreme Court after worrying Instagram posts – Dexerto
Lil Tay “fighting for her life” in Canada’s Supreme Court after worrying Instagram posts YouTube: Zach Sang ShowAfter over a year of silence on social media, 11-year-old influencer Lil Tay shared a concerning series of posts to her Instagram stories — and now, the reason behind them has been revealed. Lil Tay, much like Bad Bhabie and Woah Vicky, skyrocketed to online fame for flexing her cash, luxury cars, and her “bad” attitude in viral videos. However, it was later revealed that these “luxuries” Tay was touting were actually not her own, causing her mother to lose her job over the whole ordeal. This, combined with footage that showed her brother, Jason, directing her off-camera, sparked the “FreeLilTay” movement online — a movement that has kicked off once again due to a shocking Instagram post. After being silent for nearly a full year on social media, Tay’s Instagram account teased an announcement for April 23, which contains damning claims against Tay’s father and step mother. According to the post — and the Go Fund Me account that has been set up for her by her sibling — Tay’s “absentee” father has requested “custody, money and control over her career.” That’s not all; the post also claims that Tay’s father and stepmother are “physically and mentally abusive” toward Tay, and “as a result of the situation, Tay has fallen into a state of depression.” View this post on Instagram The Instagram post shared about the court battle shows a video of the star from 2018 crying after being told that her father had requested custody of her. The Go Fund Me seeks to raise funds for Tay’s legal fees as her mother fights for custody of her daughter in Canada’s BC Supreme Court. “He has stolen millions of dollars from my sister and has taken control of all her funds,” the Go Fund Me states. “He has signed million dollar deals and taken all of Tay’s money for himself, he has spent millions buying himself and his wife (Hanee Hope) a new mansion, speed boat, nice cars… they have been living a lavish lifestyle for the past 3 years off of Tay’s money.” Update April 24 (Content Warning: Abuse) Tay’s sibling posted images of the Instagram star with markings throughout her body and face, alleging child abuse. They again pleaded for people to donate to the Go Fund Me though its still being met with skeptics who want to hear from Lil Tay herself. View this post on Instagram Dexerto will update this article as the situation develops.

Lil Tay death hoax: Social media hack to blame – Dexerto
Lil Tay death hoax: Social media hack to blame YouTube: Zach Sang ShowViral social media sensation Lil Tay, real name Claire Hope, confirmed that she is not dead after an Instagram post claimed she’d died at age 14. Lil Tay rose to fame in 2018, with a series of viral videos where she played a character of a young rich girl, often seen flexing money and expensive vehicles. After her sharp rise to online popularity, Lil Tay stopped posting online and became a more private person. On Wednesday, August 9, Lil Tay’s family posted on her Instagram account, announcing she had passed away “suddenly.” “It is with a heavy heart that we share the devastating news of our beloved Claire’s sudden and tragic passing. We have no words to express the unbearable loss and indescribable pain.” The statement also adds that her brother died, although the circumstances are unclear, and an investigation is underway. “This outcome was entirely unexpected, and has left us all in shock. Her brother’s passing adds an even more unimaginable depth to our grief. During this time of immense sorrow, we kindly ask for privacy as we grieve this overwhelming loss, as the circumstances of Claire and her brother’s passing are still under investigation.” “Claire will forever remain in our hearts, her absence leaving an irreplaceable void that will be felt by all who knew and loved her,” the family concludes. Lil Tay’s father & former manager reached for comment Lil Tay’s management has confirmed her passing in a statement to Variety. Hours after Lil Tay’s family broke the tragic news on Instagram, her father Christopher Hope allegedly refused to provide comment when approached by The Sun. Hope also declined to clarify whether Tay was living with him at the time of her reported death. Lil Tay’s former manager Harry Tsang later released a statement claiming he could not verify the news first reported on Instagram. “Given the complexities of the current circumstances, I am at a point where I cannot definitively confirm or dismiss the legitimacy of the statement issued by the family. I encourage everyone to rely on reputable and official sources for information.” Lil Tay says death reports were due to a hack One day after Tay was reported dead, TMZ confirmed that the social media star was, in fact, alive. Lil Tay spoke to TMZ to stop the spread of misinformation due to a hack of her social media accounts. In a statement to TMZ, Lil Tay said “I want to make it clear that my brother and I are safe and alive, but I’m completely heartbroken, and struggling to even find the right words to say. It’s been a very traumatizing 24 hours. All day yesterday, I was bombarded with endless heartbreaking and tearful phone calls from loved ones all while trying to sort out this mess.” Who is Lil Tay? Lil Tay went viral across social media platforms like Instagram, Twitter and YouTube in 2018. Her videos often included displays of extreme wealth, such as stacks of cash, expensive jewelry and luxury vehicles. While calling herself the “youngest flexer of the century”, there were concerns at the time about her age and if she was allowed to be on the platforms, with 13 years old the minimum age on most. Lil Tay’s age has often been subject to speculation, but in early 2018 she said she was 9 years old, placing her at 14 years old at the time of her death. She also engaged in a public feud with Danielle Bregholi, a.k.a Bhad Bhabie, also known as the ‘cash me outside’ girl of Dr. Phil fame, further promoting her profile. Historical abuse allegations In 2021, Lil Tay’s sibling set up a ‘GoFundMe’, alleging that their father was attempting to take control of their money and custody. The post also claimed that Tay’s father and stepmother are “physically and mentally abusive” toward her, and “as a result of the situation, Tay has fallen into a state of depression.” In April 2021, Lil Tay’s siblings posted images of her online with markings on her body and face, alleging physical abuse. However, no further updates were publicly made about this situation in the years since.

All day yesterday, I was bombarded with endless heartbreaking and tearful phone calls from loved ones all while trying to sort out this mess,” she said. “My Instagram account was compromised by a 3rd party and used to spread jarring misinformation and rumors regarding me, to the point that even my name was wrong. My legal name is Tay Tian, not ‘Claire Hope.’” Tay sent her thanks to Meta for helping get her Instagram account back, and she’s since removed the fake death statement. Although she has amassed 3.4 million followers on Instagram, Lil Tay has been radio silent for several years now — marking this statement to TMZ the first time she’s spoke publicly in recent years.

Lil Tay denies “life-threatening” heart tumor is PR stunt after infamous death hoax – Dexerto
Lil Tay denies “life-threatening” heart tumor is PR stunt after infamous death hoax Instagram: liltayInternet star Lil Tay underwent heart surgery after her social media accounts claimed she had a “life-threatening” heart tumor – and they’re hitting out at rumors saying the ordeal is just a PR stunt. 17-year-old Lil Tay sent viewers into a frenzy after her social media accounts claimed to have “devastating news” about the social media star in September. Subsequent updates claimed that the influencer had a “life-threatening” heart tumor, showing imagery from an ultrasound and photos from the inside of a hospital. On September 14, her Instagram account shared a video of Tay in a hospital bed after supposedly undergoing open heart surgery. Although they claimed the operation was a “success,” netizens remained skeptical about the news due to the infamous ‘death hoax’ that occurred back in 2023. However, Tay’s accounts are hitting back at this narrative, as told in a tweet published on September 16. “The accusations that Tay’s health crisis is for publicity are false and disgusting,” the post reads. “If publicity or money were our goal, she would not have gone MIA for over a year. Instead, she would have posted everyday to her millions of fans, and done PR runs like every other celebrity and dropped music every month. “Tay’s health has always been our priority, not popularity or money. The false Death Hoax, started by her misogynistic father to ruin her reputation, is now being projected onto her. This is blatant victim blaming and rooted in misogyny. Tay deserves support, not harmful accusations.” This news follows a previous statement posted on September 14, which also hit back at “misinformation” and distanced both Tay and her mother from her “misogynistic father, Christopher John Hope.” In 2023, Tay’s social media accounts were hacked with claims that both she and her brother had died. These rumors were later proven to be false, and Tay claimed that her estranged father was behind the entire thing. Shortly afterward, Tay debuted her new music career, leading some netizens to think the hoax was merely a publicity stunt to get herself back in the limelight. Tay’s accounts continue to maintain that her father was responsible for the 2023 hacking and deny that her current health issues are in any way related to a supposed PR stunt.

Lil Tay is a social media star with a murky history, first rising to fame in the late 2010’s by flexing copious amounts of cash and bragging about her supposed wealth in a series of viral videos online. However, she disappeared shortly afterward amid a highly-publicized custody battle between her parents… only to reappear in the limelight years later after a post was published on her Instagram page alleging that both she and her half-brother had died. Tay later reemerged to clarify that the Instagram post was a hoax and that both she and her brother were alive and well. In September 2023, Tay posted a damning accusation to her Instagram account where she accused her father of being the one behind the hoax, calling him an “abusive, racist, misogynistic, woman beater.” Shortly afterward, Tay released her first single in years, and later went live on Instagram, claiming that her father had abused her. Lil Tay blasts “psycho” father for allegedly swatting her In the video, Tay called her dad a “f*cking psycho,” alleging that he swatted her house cover up his supposedly “abusive” behavior. “My abusive father swatted me to prevent me from continuing to expose his racism, misogyny, sexually abusive behavior, and domestic violence,” Tay claimed. “You cannot f*cking stop me,” she continued. “You cannot f*cking silence me. Lil Tay claims she went through open-heart surgery after “life-threatening” tumor diagnosis – Dexerto
Lil Tay claims she went through open-heart surgery after “life-threatening” tumor diagnosis YouTube, Instagram: liltay17-year-old influencer Lil Tay has allegedly been diagnosed with a heart tumor and is undergoing open-heart surgery, as per a post on her Instagram account. On September 12, 2024, Lil Tay’s Instagram account posted a video of an ultrasound supposedly showing the influencer’s heart beating. In the imagery, viewers can spot what the narrator describes as a “bubble” inside her heart. “Tay has been diagnosed with a life-threatening heart tumor,” the post’s caption reads. “We ask kindly for everyone’s love and prayers.” Her account updated fans on September 13, revealing that Tay was going into surgery to get the tumor removed. “Tay is about to undergo major open-heart surgery to remove her heart tumor. This is a critical procedure, we ask for your prayers for a successful operation,” reads the message. This latest news follows several cryptic posts about the young internet star that were published on September 11, which claimed that the poster had “devastating news regarding Tay.” The next day, a photo taken inside of a hospital was shared to a private chat on Tay’s Instagram account showing signs directing patients to the pediatric intensive care unit. “Tay is currently in the ICU in serious condition,” a message in the chat claimed. Since then, images of Lil Tay in a hospital bed have been uploaded post-op, dispelling a lot of the skepticism around her surgery and health condition. However, even with this posted, people remain skeptical of her due to her social media accounts being taken over by other people in the past. Tay’s Instagram account was hacked in 2023 with claims that both she and her brother had died. Later, Tay regained control of her account and denied these rumors, saying both she and her brother were alive and claiming that her father was behind the viral ‘hoax.’ Since then, Tay has made a comeback on social media and launched a budding music career. Due to the past hoax, though, fans are remaining staunch about taking the ultrasound with a grain of salt. “I can’t tell if this is bait or not,” one commenter admitted. “Bruh, who hacked her now?” another asked. “Show us her name on the thing then,” yet another demanded. Since posting the ultrasound video, Lil Tay’s X account has also retweeted a post from a fan, which shows a photo of a written statement supposedly created by the influencer. “The news hasn’t broken yet, but I’ve also been diagnosed with a heart tumor,” the writing says. “The future is unknown, and it’s been a rocky six months.”

Lil Tay claims her father abused her and reveals details behind death hoax – Dexerto
Lil Tay claims her father abused her and reveals details behind death hoax Lil TayLil Tay was making headlines when a death hoax she claims was orchestrated by her father set the world alight, and she alleged that her father abused her leading up to the death hoax following a cryptic series of Instagram livestreams. Lil Tay promised a livestream that’d discuss the hoax involving her death. However, in lieu of that livestream, she instead began marketing a brand-new single, Sucker 4 Green. Many of her fans are elated to see her doing well and back to making music as she was before, but some others are a bit more skeptical. Considering her first livestream consisted of her playing the piano and didn’t involve her discussing the details behind the death hoax, some believed at first that they’d been duped and that she’s used the situation to help promote her music. The cryptic series of livestreams left many skeptical. However, Tay came through and provided more details about her turbulent relationship with her father and alleged that she was abused by him in numerous ways. Lil Tay drops Sucker 4 Green as her first single in years The return of Lil Tay has been explosive, with her Instagram post talking about her new music gaining tens of thousands of likes in a matter of minutes. Considering how many were concerned for her safety earlier this year, her having such a return to form has fans of her music elated. However, some are a bit more skeptical. Though she’s gained a lot of attention from hyping up a livestream exposing everything that happened, some feel a bit betrayed by her using the hype to drop a new track. Some commentors on Instagram claimed she must have been “cloned” or that AI is involved, seemingly still convinced that this isn’t Lil Tay after all. Others were begging her to go live to prove that she is, in fact, real. She would go live, but not in the way many were thinking. Instead of discussing the situation, she put up a cryptic livestream that showed her playing a song on the piano and nothing else. “Girl u wasted my damn time.” commented one user on instagram. People clearly felt betrayed. “U DID NOT JUST END THE LIVE LIKE THAT.” commented another user. Fans of hers clearly wanted answers, and she didn’t give any. At least, not in her first video. Yet another video has gone live, one that shows her playing the guitar instead. She was playing over a Metallica song in the live video and is rapidly switching instruments as the stream goes. Ultimately, Lil Tay gave viewers the answers they were looking for. Lil Tay claims her father abused her ahead of death hoax After this bizarre string of livestreams, she put her father, Chris Hope, on blast and claimed that he abused her as a child. Lil Tay claimed that her father was having relations with a woman while she was in the same room and that her father was hooking up with random women “all the time” that he found on Craigslist. The Instagram influencer also claimed that Hanee Hope, the woman who is still with her father, is a “scammer” and that her father normalized “inappropriate sexual behavior” and doing the “most out of pocket sexual s*** in front of me”. She also claimed that physical abuse was “common” in her household and that her parents traumatized her, forcing her to watch horror movies at a young age while putting her in a “chokehold” and locking her in a closet. Additionally, Tay claimed that her mother was bragging about having expensive handbags while she didn’t have proper clothes to wear. She went on to call Hanee a “gold-digging b****” and alleged that her father owes her over $250,000 in child support, something substantiated by court orders for her father to pay approximately $275,000 in child support. She went on to call out anyone who claimed to be her manager, saying that Chris Hope was working with a “con artist”. The con artist in question was the one who helped orchestrate the hoax according to the musician as she claimed that she’s never had a manager. Additionally, Tay alleged that they set up a crypto coin surrounding her “death” and that her father was trying to profit off of creating a death hoax by developing and cashing in on a crypto scheme. That said, Tay had praise for her mother and claimed that Chris Hope, her “abusive absentee father” in her words, abused both of them. “My mom spent all of her life’s savings in court, all of her life’s savings to support me, and we won.” Tay boasted. Lil Tay concluded by expressing that she wants to just be done with all of it and is ready to get on with her career. “I’m free now. I just dropped my music video. I’m ready to move on, I’m done with this.”

Recently, a mainstream celebrity took some heat on the platform during his trip to Japan — and commenters couldn’t help but get a laugh out of his confused reaction to the events unfolding (or rather, not unfolding) around him. American rapper Lil Pump recently took a trip to the Land of the Rising Sun, but a specific part of his journey is garnering a ton of attention and going viral online. In a TikTok clip, Lil Pump stands in the middle of a busy Tokyo street as crowds mill around him. Normally, in America, he’d probably be mobbed by fans… but in Japan, it doesn’t look like he’s as recognizable to the everyman. Click here if TikTok fails to load. Lil Pump seemed totally confused by this turn of events and even put up his hands in visible bewilderment — and TikTok couldn’t get enough of his expression. “I love it when famous people don’t get recognized and you can clearly see it hurts their ego,” one commenter said. “Humbled real quick,” another quipped. “He’s like, ‘Damn, I really fell off,’” another joked. However, Lil Pump did eventually receive some love from his fans in Japan, as the rapper posted a video of himself posing with fans on his Instagram account. “Tokyo shows love,” he clarified in the post’s caption. “Love y’all, be back soon.” Click here if TikTok fails to load. It looks like Pump cleared the air after the viral TikTok clip gave critics the wrong impression, following another major moment on the platform from another big music artist, Ed Sheeran.

Lil Pump, Sneako & N3on kicked out of Topgolf after “homophobic” comments – Dexerto
Lil Pump, Sneako & N3on kicked out of Topgolf after “homophobic” comments Kick: N3ONRapper Lil Pump, along with controversial streamers Sneako and N3on, got kicked out of a Topgolf location during a live stream after making “homophobic” comments. Topgolf seems to be a popular location for many streamers, with Kick star Adin Ross recently visiting the driving range chain back in August. Unfortunately for him, he and his crew got swatted while playing at the location seemingly based out of Florida, forcing them to leave and cutting their activities short. Now, another dramatic incident has occurred at a Topgolf during another high-profile Kick stream… this one featuring a major rapper. Lil Pump, Sneako & N3on kicked out of Topgolf after disorderly behavior On September 20, rapper Lil Pump was hanging out at Topgolf with controversial streamers Sneako and N3on when the group got a little too rowdy. Footage taken from their Kick stream shows N3on getting into the nets that are meant to catch stray golf balls, which are overhanging a huge drop above the actual golf course. That’s not all; another section from the stream shows an employee coming up to the group, making mention of their cameras. The streamers joked around about kicking out their cameraman before Sneako said, “Also, I heard him say something homophobic before he walked in, and I just wanted to let you know. We stand with the LGBTQ community.” The employee then left the area, and it was surmised that he was “calling security.” “I was joking!” Sneako exclaimed. “Aw bro, I think the homophobic sh*t got to him,” someone said. “I think he just needs some d**k,” N3on said. “Gay-a** f***.” The group was then told to leave — a situation that prompted the stars to insult the Topgolf employees, with someone in the squad saying, “You’re gonna stay working here for the rest of your life. Twenty, fifteen dollars a month, you f**kin’ piece of sht*.” The incident sparked quite a conversation online, with some viewers appalled at the group’s behavior, while others took their side. This is just the latest news to come from N3on after the streamer was supposedly jumped and robbed during a live stream back in early August.

Lil Nas X and Tony Hawk are breaking the internet with hilarious viral TikTok video Instagram: Lil Nas XAfter calling out the internet for having “double standards” over their reaction to Tony Hawk’s blood-infused skateboard, Lil Nas X teamed up with the skating legend in a viral TikTok video. Lil Nas X received a lot of flak for releasing custom Nike Air Max 97 sneakers that contained a drop of human blood. So, when he saw that Tony Hawk wasn’t getting anywhere near as much backlash for releasing skateboards infused with his own blood, he called out the internet for having “double standards.” But while many expected this could lead to a feud between them, it turns out the opposite has happened; they teamed up and posted a hilarious TikTok video that’s gone viral. The video starts with Lil Nas X standing on top of a skate ramp holding Tony Hawk’s new skateboard, telling viewers he’s planning to bust out some tricks, including the classic McTwist. However, right before he launches himself onto the ramp, the camera cuts to Tony Hawk — not very well, which is clearly part of the comedy of it all — who happens to be wearing the same helmet and clothes. It’s already been viewed more than 4 million times on TikTok and another 2 million times on Twitter, and the numbers keep on rising with every share, re-post, and retweet. People commended them for putting their differences aside and showing the world that “skateboarding transcends drama” with a wholesome twist.

Back in March, along with the release of his new single ‘Call Me By Your Name,’ Lil Nas X released a line of limited edition ‘Satan Shoes’ — custom Nike Air Max 97s which each featured a drop of actual human blood. They sold out remarkably quickly, but Lil Nas X had something to say on Twitter about the huge difference in public reactions to his project and Tony’s. “Now that Tony Hawk has released skateboards with his blood painted on them, and there was no public outrage, are y’all ready to admit y’all were never actually upset over the blood in the shoes? and maybe u were mad for some other reason?” he wrote. now that tony hawk has released skateboards with his blood painted on them, and there was no public outrage, are y’all ready to admit y’all were never actually upset over the blood in the shoes? and maybe u were mad for some other reason? — ☆ (@LilNasX) August 25, 2021 The rapper’s tweet gained a huge amount of traction on the platform, and within about a day has received over 370,000 likes. Lil Nas X shares his life story with fans in surprising TikTok series YouTube: James CharlesViral music artist and all-around social media star Montero ‘Lil Nas X’ Hill has surprised his fanbase by sharing his life story in an unexpected series of inspiring TikTok videos. Lil Nas X skyrocketed to fame in 2019 with the release of ‘Old Town Road,’ a humorous take on classic country music with a hip hop twist, which quickly took over the internet and radio stations all over the United States. Ever since then, Nas has become a cultural icon in the net’s collective consciousness, consistently killing looks with his flashy fashion sense and releasing more original music that has proven to be a hit with fans. While the star boasts an array of social media accounts, no one expected him to open up about his personal life via TikTok, of all places — but that’s exactly what happened in February 2021. In a series of short videos, Lil Nas dove into his past, revealing that he’d become the first in his family to be accepted into college. However, it wasn’t all sunshine and rainbows; during his college days, Nas suffered from hypochondria and constantly worried he would die of an illness, and his grandmother passed away. A year later, he dropped out of college and moved in with his sister after finding happiness in making music — but after creating his first mixtape, his sister kicked him out of her home. Claiming he was “feeling hopeless,” Lil Nas X then said he moved in with his brother, where domestic violence occurred “every day.” In late 2018, the soon-to-be star released ‘Old Town Road.’ As he didn’t have the cash to promote his song, he used “memes” to get the track to go viral. Thanks to a TikTok trend that came about some time later, the song blew up in popularity, which led him to sign with Columbia Records in 2019. “It took me places I never thought I could go,” Lil Nas said of his success with the song. Thus far, Lil Nas X’s TikToks have been met with immense acclaim from fans, garnering hundreds of thousands of views in just two days’ time. His success story is certainly inspiring, sparking courage and hope in the hearts of young creators everywhere thanks to his soul-baring videos.

In July 2021, Lil Nas X blew up on TikTok after people made videos poking fun at his ‘Satan Shoes,’ which contained a drop of his own blood. He was in good spirits about it all, and even joined in the trend. Now he’s taking over the platform yet again after parodying a viral TikTok video in which a girl trying to kick-start her own music career claims Lil Nas X “sold his soul” for success. The video starts off with the girl introducing herself. “My life f**king sucks. I’m an artist from the middle of nowhere. I’ve never gotten lucky or had any overnight success because I refuse to sell my soul,” she said. However, when she says “I refuse to sell my soul,” her video shows a clip of Lil Nas X turning into a demon, implying he’s guilty of doing that. Then, she begs people to stream her song so it can get to one million plays. Eventually, the video caught Lil Nas X’s attention. He clapped back with a parody video of his own in which he imitates her and says things to try and earn people’s sympathy – which is what she was accused of doing. “My life f**king sucks. I live in the middle of nowhere. My baby’s father’s left so I’m a single mother raising a child by myself,” he said. After that, he goes off on a tangent and makes hilarious tongue-in-cheek references to himself. He claims people think he worships the devil because he “let Satan smash him” and only go to his concerts to make fun of him. The original video pulled 15 million views in a month. However, Lil Nas X’s video is a third of the way there in less than a day. So, if you do want to try and take down Lil Nas X, you have to make sure it’s a big hit.

Lil Nas X reps SonicFox plushie The interaction on August 8 opened many people’s eyes to Lil Nas X’s fandom after the artist posted a pic of their EG Lil SonicFox plushie. “No chill, what?!” SonicFox said after seeing the musician’s plushie which came out in 2021 on a limited production that capped it to only 500 units. Lil Nas X memes his potential Nike lawsuit over “satanic” shoes – Dexerto
Lil Nas X memes his potential Nike lawsuit over “satanic” shoes MSCHFRapper Lil Nas X posted his way through the news that Nike could be suing the artist behind his controversial new shoes for trademark infringement, as the drama surrounding his latest video reached a whole new level. Certain parts of the internet have sparked an all-out war over Lil Nas X’s latest video for his song “Call Me By Your Name” – and the shoes that the rapper released to promote it. The black and red kicks were made by New York-based art collective MSCHF, with Nike Air Max 97s as the base. They feature a bronze pentagram, inverted cross, and even a drop of human blood from members of the collective. With a price tag of $1,018 a pair, all 666 sets sold out in under a minute, according to the brand – which might be a good thing, as Nike is now reportedly suing MSCHF over the shoes for an undisclosed amount. According to NBC News, Nike’s trademark infringement lawsuit against MSCHF doesn’t name Lil Nas X as a defendant, but the star still took the time to joke about the whole situation on Twitter. As the news broke, Lil Nas X tweeted a clip from Spongebob of Squidward asking everyone in vain if they knew that he was kidding, and promptly followed it up with the famous clip of Squidward begging for change on the sidewalk. “Me, after the Nike lawsuit,” the star said along with the video, obviously kidding and not appearing too concerned about the legal action. MSCHF has yet to put out a statement of their own on the matter, so it’s unknown if Lil Nas X will be supporting or helping them at all, but the Old Town Road singer did fire off one more tweet with a prisoner in court singing his statement. Before Nike announced the lawsuit, the rapper put out an “apology” video that resembled the YouTuber apologies we’ve come to know and love at first – but instead of discussing the outrage people seem to have over his content, it just cut to the Call Me By Your Name music video. It remains to be seen what will happen with Nike’s lawsuit against MSCHF, but Lil Nas X at least seems to be taking the approach that any publicity, in the end, is good publicity.

Lil Nas X, KSI, Doublelift & more roast Ninja’s divisive gaming tweet – Dexerto
Lil Nas X, KSI, Doublelift & more roast Ninja’s divisive gaming tweet Instagram: Lilnasx / Twitter: NinjaTyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins’ recent inspirational gaming tweet has caught a great deal of backlash, and even led to other marquee internet celebrities clowning the controversial post. Sharing his thoughts on losses in gaming, Ninja argued players should always maintain a sense of frustration and anger or else they’ll never improve. Regardless of where you stand on the topic, it’s clear Ninja struck a nerve within the community and his controversial post has made him the target of countless jokes since. The phrase “it’s just a game” is such a weak mindset. You are ok with what happened, losing, imperfection of a craft. When you stop getting angry after losing, you’ve lost twice. There’s always something to learn, and always room for improvement, never settle. — Ninja (@Ninja) February 18, 2020 The Mixer streamer’s February 18 post outlines his position on losses while gaming. Rather than simply accepting defeat, he argues gamers should always maintain a sense of anger in order to strive for improvement, and learn from losses. “The phrase ‘it’s just a game’ is such a weak mindset,” he stated. “You are ok with what happened, losing, imperfection of a craft. When you stop getting angry after losing, you’ve lost twice. There’s always something to learn, and always room for improvement, never settle.” Shortly after, the comment caught the eye of gaming and internet celebrities around the world, and Ninja’s post became the brunt of countless jokes. Fellow content creation celebrity KSI snuck in a cheeky comment, joking that Ninja will “be a scary dad” due to his steadfast opinion on gaming losses. Attracting the attention of even the most accomplished stars of the esports industry, Team Liquid’s Yiliang ‘Doublelift’ Peng chimed in with a League of Legends joke of his own. “When your friends drag you into a quick ARAM,” he responded, joking that even League’s completely randomized mode is more than just a mere game to him and that he will never settle for a loss, even in the least meaningful playlist. Not just copping flak from prominent gaming personalities alone, however, Ninja’s tweet also set him in the sights of 2019 Grammy winner Montero Lamar ‘Lil Nas X’ Hill, who joked about the level of games people would be getting angry at. “Me playing papas pizzeria on coolmath,” the rapper joked, sarcastically implying that he holds the same angry mentality when playing flash games on his PC. when your friends drag you into a quick ARAM https://t.co/aahMKm0qtn — Yiliang Peng (@Doublelift1) February 18, 2020 Expanding on his thoughts after facing ample criticism for his opinion, he emphasized that the backlash is due to “the way [others] perceived the message.” Perhaps the streaming star could have worded the sentiment a little better to avoid the hostility and criticism online. Ultimately there’s no doubt he’ll learn from the situation however, as he said it best, “there’s always something to learn.”

Lil Nas X responds to wild mashup of his music video with Olivia Rodrigo’s Instagram: lilnasx / olivia rodrigoPopular rapper Lil Nas X has responded after someone on YouTube made a mashup of the music video for his new song ‘That’s What I Want,’ and the video for Olivia Rodrigo’s ‘Good 4 U.’ The past year has proven to be a hugely successful year for the music industry, and two of the stars who’ve been in the spotlight a great deal recently have been Lil Nas X and Olivia Rodrigo. Lil Nas X first shot to fame after releasing his insanely viral hit ‘Old Town Road,’ and recently he’s been promoting his debut album ‘Montero.’ Actress and singer Olivia Rodrigo first blew up in a big way back in January when she released her song ‘Drivers License,’ which promptly went viral on TikTok. She’s since released her album ‘Sour’ featuring a huge array of popular tracks. YouTuber AnDyWuMUSICLAND clearly thought that these two huge stars would be even better if they were combined, as he decided to create a mashup of Lil Nas X’s song ‘That’s What I Want,’ and Olivia Rodrigo’s hit ‘Good 4 U.’ Not only did he mix the tracks, but he also spliced together the music videos for each song, which ended up creating a whole new narrative. Lil Nas X has perfect response to YouTube channel being hacked Instagram: LilNasX/YouTubeFans of rapper Lil Nas X were left a bit surprised as his YouTube channel was hacked and uploaded an unusual video, but the Montero was pretty chill about it all. If you’ve been around the internet for long enough, you’ve probably had an account or two taken over by a troll for at least a little bit. You may have gotten it back, you may have not – it’s a bit luck of the draw in some cases. However, when you’re a celebrity, it can be pretty easy to get your account back, but it brings increased attention when you’ve been hacked. Lil Nas X, Elon Musk & more feature in TIME’s 100 most influential people of 2021 – Dexerto
Lil Nas X, Elon Musk & more feature in TIME’s 100 most influential people of 2021 Dan Taylor / Twitter, Lil Nas XTime Magazine’s annual list of the top 100 most influential people has been released for 2021 and it features the likes of Lil Nas X and Elon Musk. Since 1999, Time Magazine has released its highly publicized annual Top 100 list of the most influential people of the past year. Exclusively chosen by the magazine’s editors, the people on the list are recognized for changing the world in their own ways, despite the consequences of their actions. When it comes to the list for 2021, two names stand out the most — ‘Old Town Road’ artist Lil Nas X and Tesla founder, Elon Musk. Time Magazines Top 100: Elon Musk and Lil Nas X Appearing on the annual list is often seen as an honor, and some influential people have even appeared on the list several times throughout their lives. This is the case for Elon Musk, who has appeared on the list a total of four times — 2010, 2013, 2018, and this year, 2021. Breaking free of the ‘norm’, Elon has gone from co-founding and selling online payment company PayPal, kick-starting the electric vehicle movement with Tesla to even landing astronauts on the moon with SpaceX. Over the last year, Musk has helped build up a craze around crypto, considered making a real-life hovercar, and even named his newborn child after a Call of Duty killstreak. While hip-hop artist Lil Nas X may be celebrating his first year on the top 100 list, he was included in Time’s 2019 list of most influential internet stars as he was taking over the scene with his viral song Old Town Road with Billy Ray Cyrus. He has gone on to become the first artist to come out as gay while holding a top-charting song, the most nominated male artist at the 62nd Grammy Awards, as well as being an active creator on TikTok and even had his fair share of controversy with his ‘satan blood’ shoes. Fellow hip-hop artist Kid Kudi had this to say when asked to describe why Lil Nas X deserves to be on the list: “To have a gay man in hip-hop doing his thing, crushing records—that is huge for us and for Black excellence. The way he’s unafraid to make people uncomfortable is so rock ’n’ roll. He’s a true rock star.” While Time Magazine has included Elon and Lil Nas X in the top 100 list, it will be interesting to see if they are included in the most influential internet users list for 2021, if Time decides to release one.

Lil Nas X claims he’s entering his “Christian era” – Dexerto
Lil Nas X claims he’s entering his “Christian era” Wikimedia Commons, Raph_PHLil Nas X took to social media to tease his first Christian song and claimed he is now entering his “Christian era.” Lil Nas X has built a career around singing about an “Old Town Road” and sliding down poles to hell. His musical adeptness is admirable and sees him often sitting at the crossroads of hip-hop, rap, and pop. His last studio album, 2021’s Montero, saw a star hitting his musical stride. The Grammy winner aimed for the stars and succeeded in reaching a new level of fame. In 2023, the singer/rapper switches things up a bit and ventures way beyond his typical genre borders for something truly unexpected. It’s doubtful this was on anyone’s 2023 bingo card. Lil Nas X enters his Christian era with a new song teaser On Twitter/X, Lil Nas X teased a new Christian song, writing, “y’all mind if i enter my christian era?” The singer can be seen sitting inside the passenger’s side of a truck singing over a gentle, guitar-led arrangement. “Father stretch my hands / The lonely road seems to last the longest / Help me with my plans,” he sings. “Everything seems to go to nowhere / Free me from worry and wanting pity.” The song crescendos until the beat drops in for what is likely the hook. “I call on angels / I’m trying hard to face my pain, yeah,” he continues. “Give me hope when I feel / Give me when I feel less.” Lil Nas X responds to claims it’s all a “gimmick” Many fans were still quick to call him out for “mocking Christianity” while others said, “That’s not Christian but it’s cute.” Hours after the teaser, Lil Nas X took to Twitter to set the record straight. “Y’all see everything I do as a gimmick. When in reality, I’m just an artist expressing myself in different ways,” he posted. “Whether I’m a cowboy, gay, satanic, or now Christian, y’all find a problem! Y’all don’t police nobody else art like mine. Y’all hate me because I’m fun cute and petite.” However, it appears that some users were still not appeased. “Still a satanic video,” wrote another commenter. Yet another user told him to “repent. God hates all workers of iniquity. You are a worker of iniquity. Again, repent.” For more entertainment news, keep it locked to Dexerto.

Lil Nas X & Corpse Husband hint at possible collab for Montero remix – Dexerto
Lil Nas X & Corpse Husband hint at possible collab for Montero remix Corpse Husband/Lil Nas XAfter a brief exchange on Twitter, a collaboration between Corpse Husband and Lil Nas X for “Montero (Call Me By Your Name)” could actually end up happening. American musician Lil Nas X’s latest single “Montero” is one of the biggest songs out right now, helped in part by the storm of controversy surrounding the devilish video and the shoes released by the singer (which contain a drop of human blood). The rapper and his fans seem to have brushed off the haters by celebrating the single with TikToks, art and even remixes of the new song and its video. One heavy metal interpretation of Montero even got posted by Lil Nas X on Twitter, who added that he wanted one of streaming’s biggest new stars to feature on it as well — the one and only Corpse Husband. Corpse is no stranger to making hit music himself, the video for his latest collab, called “DAYWALKER!” with rapper Machine Gun Kelly and starring fellow streamer Valkyrae, is at 11 million views and counting after premiering on March 18. Fans, of both Lil Nas and Corpse, were instantly excited about the simple possibility of the two working together and the initial mention quickly gained more than 38,000 likes and counting. A metal remix for “Montero” seems right up Corpse’s alley, and it didn’t take long for the streamer to respond with a simple “YESSSSS” to confirm he was definitely down. This immediately sent fans off, with speculations about what the collab could look like and when it could happen showing up almost immediately. Right now, though, there’s no telling when this highly anticipated duet could occur. Both stars seem down to make it happen though, so it could only be a matter of time before we see Corpse (or some other streamer playing his role) in a new video with Lil Nas X sometime soon. Based on how popular the two are on their own, it doesn’t take much to see a “Montero” remix from both of them together breaking the internet when it does eventually come out.

Lil Nas X calls for GTA Online to host virtual concerts – Dexerto
Lil Nas X calls for GTA Online to host virtual concerts Rockstar Games / Lil Nas XLil Nas X, embroiled in the spice of drama over his latest hit, “Montero (Call Me By Your Name),” might be moving on to greener, virtual pastures — as he’s asking about virtual concerts in GTA Online. Grand Theft Auto Online has taken over Twitch recently, as the NoPixel 3.0 GTA RP (roleplay) server has enabled a wide variety of content for renowned streamers and celebrities alike. Meanwhile, Lil Nas X has taken over social media, as “Montero” spices up Twitter timelines and internet feeds. And now, there seems to be a way for those two worlds to collide, with a recent tweet from Lil Nas X suggesting interest in a virtual concert in the GTA RP universe. This would likely follow in the footsteps of virtual concerts that have taken place in other games over the past year or so. Around April 2020, Travis Scott performed a historic virtual show for his “ASTROWORLD” tour in Fortnite. And, even more relevantly, Lil Nas X actually performed a virtual Roblox concert back in November. While such a show hasn’t been done yet on NoPixel’s GTA Online server, the path to one seems reasonable. The king of Twitter, Lil Nas X boasts over six million followers on the platform. So when he sends out a five-word “GTA should do virtual concerts” tweet, it holds weight — enough to drive speculation almost immediately. With celebrities like NBA legend LeBron James and cultural icon Travis Scott trying to get in on NoPixel 3.0, it’s easy to draw a line between Lil Nas X’s tweet and the RP server. The biggest stars do deserve the biggest platforms, after all. And that was the connection immediately drawn by notable streamer HasanAbi, who has a spot on the NoPixel server and wants the influential rapper to join up. Lil Nas X concert on the NoPixel GTA Online RP server? HasanAbi posted a simple reply to Lil Nas X, telling the musician to “pull up.” And, as viewers of his stream that day report, he also reached out to the iconoclast over DM (Twitter Direct Message) as well. Although there has been no confirmation that Lil Nas X even wants to perform himself in GTA or if it would be with NoPixel, this is intriguing new territory. It would take a degree of effort and some modifications, but a musician who has taken over social media and a game that has taken over Twitch would make for a legendary virtual event.

Lil Huddy reveals his own limited Burger King meal Instagram: lilhuddyTikTok star Lil Huddy, real name Chase Hudson, has revealed that he’ll be getting his own meal at Burger King for a limited time as part of the ‘Keep it Real Meals’ campaign. Chase Hudson first became a popular figure on TikTok, and he currently has over 30 million followers on the platform alone. However, the 19-year-old has also cemented himself as an artist in the music industry, releasing several tracks under the name Lil Huddy, like ‘America’s Sweetheart’ and his most recent release ‘Don’t Freak Out.’ Big chains are constantly looking to partner up with online influencers, with Charli’s huge collab with Dunkin’ Donuts being a prime example, and Chase is the latest to join the club with his new meal at Burger King. This is all part of the ‘Keep it Real Meals’ campaign, which includes meals from several different artists: Lil Huddy, Nelly, and Anitta. According to The Takeout, the Chase Hudson meal is “a Spicy Ch’King with cheese, served with four-piece mozzarella sticks and a 16-ounce chocolate shake.” In a series of Instagram stories revealing the meal, Hudson wrote: “It’s so good, you have no idea,” adding, “how gorgeous is this meal?” The campaign comes as part of Burger King’s commitment to cut more than 120 artificial ingredients from their menu. Fans were naturally delighted by the news, saying that the meal “looks so good,” with many happy to see the young star doing such a big collab. However, others echoed one commenter’s thoughts that “no one needs their own meal at restaurants.” Regardless, it seems there are still plenty of people who want to give the meal a try when it releases in participating stores on September 12.

Lil Huddy, Nikita Dragon & more to star in reality Hype House Netflix show – Dexerto
Lil Huddy, Nikita Dragon & more to star in reality Hype House Netflix show Twitter: NetflixSome of TikTok’s biggest influencers are getting their very own reality show on Netflix, joining the likes of Charli D’Amelio and more who are also slated to bring their lives to the small screen. The Hype House was once one of TikTok’s most popular content collectives. Founded in 2019, it rivaled the likes of the once-great Team 10, and initially boasted some of the internet’s most popular TikTok creators like Charli D’Amelio, Addison Rae, and more. However, it seems that these two are not slated to join the group in their upcoming reality show, which is set to release on Netflix in the near future. While the Hype House has since become a shadow of its former self, there’s no arguing that it helped spark the careers of TikTok’s biggest names, and even inspired other houses like the Sway House and Clubhouse. View this post on Instagram Although some of its initial (and biggest) members have moved on to greener pastures, there’s still an impressive lineup set to feature in the Hype House Netflix show, including co-founder Thomas Petrou, Chase Hudson, Larri “Larray” Merritt, Alex Warren, and even Nikita Dragun. Read More: How does PewDiePie make money? – There’s precious little information regarding the show at present; thus far, Netflix has yet to confirm a release date for the reality show, leaving fans in the dark (but nonetheless excited) for this upcoming series. All we know for sure is that the series will be “unscripted,” and promises to show the daily lives and drama of the Hype House members that fans have only been able to view via Instagram tea pages. Kouvr Annon, Nikita Dragun, Sienna Mae Gomez, Chase Hudson, Larri Merritt, Thomas Petrou, Alex Warren, and Jack Wright — a.k.a Hype House — will star in a new unscripted series that will reveal a side of themselves (and their relationships) that we rarely see! pic.twitter.com/NlRF5j0ZoF — Netflix (@netflix) April 22, 2021 The Hype House isn’t the only TikTok group to have a reality show; the Sway House is also currently airing their own reality series on Instagram, where Bryce Hall notably opened up about his recent split from Addison Rae. That’s not all; the D’Amelio family is also set to have their own reality show exclusively on Hulu, which is set to release sometime in 2021. With so little information about the Hype House’s series being available, any number of possibilities exist for the show, which is certain to give viewers an inside glimpse at the lives of the internet’s biggest personalities.

Lil Huddy opens up about “tragic” past in emotional live stream Lil Huddy, YouTubeTikTok star Chase ‘Lil Huddy’ Hudson is one of the platform’s most popular content creators, boasting over 19 million followers on the site due to his viral videos — but life before social media fame wasn’t always sunshine and roses for the teen. While Hudson may be a hugely famous online entertainer, the star has received his fair share of backlash online — not only for his unique fashion sense, but also due to his recent split with fellow TikTokker Charli D’Amelio. However, this wouldn’t be the first time he’s gone through hard times, with the star opening up about his “tragic” childhood in a tearful Instagram Live broadcast on May 16. Hudson began his “birthday inspiration” message by thanking his fans for being there to support him, claiming that his teenage years had been difficult for him while he was growing up. He went on to explain that he’d suffered a debilitating incident when he was 14 years old, and had felt “hopeless and miserable” before he began his foray on social media, claiming that he’d finally found a community of people who legitimately cared about him in stark contrast to his real-life situation. “When I was 14, I think, I was going through some really hard times,” he began. “That was like, the start of me losing feeling and emotion, and a lot of heartbreak, since I went through like, something really tragic as a child… and it re-occurred when I was 14.” “I felt hopeless and miserable, and that’s when I started social media,” Hudson continued. “When I started social media, I started getting people who cared about me. As a high schooler and as a middle schooler… I had no one. No one really cared about me.” (Topic begins at 10:00 for mobile readers) The star went on to admit that his fans have “helped me through so much,” as well as using social media as an outlet, claiming that if he had no support, “I wouldn’t be here.” Considering the recent drama surrounding himself and Charli D’Amelio, Hudson made sure to preface his emotional story by clarifying that his comments weren’t about “anyone or anything” — and thus far, fans are showing support for Huddy on all sides in wake of his tearful live stream.

Lil Boom accuses Pokimane of stealing TikTok song: “She manipulated me” – Dexerto
Lil Boom accuses Pokimane of stealing TikTok song: “She manipulated me” Instagram: Pokimane/ Instagram: Lil BoomImane ‘Pokimane’ Anys has been accused of stealing music and a TikTok dance for her Fortnite emote by artist Lil Boom who described the Twitch streamer as “manipulative” and “disrespectful,” speaking exclusively to Dexerto. Pokimane is the most popular female streamer on Twitch, and is a juggernaut on social media, boasting millions of subscribers across her YouTube, Twitter, and Instagram accounts. In January of this year, Pokimane revealed a custom-made emote for Fortnite featuring a set of moves and music similar to a viral TikTok dance using the song “Already Dead” by rapper Lil Boom, which now features in 1.4 million videos on the app. TikToker YungNibb came up with a dance that was subsequently used by many of the app’s biggest creators including Addison Rae and Avani Gregg, both of which credited the original creator of the dance. Avani and Addison weren’t the only huge creators excited by the adorable trend. Fans were ecstatic when streamer Pokimane herself joined TikTok at the end of 2019 and her most popular post to date with 18 million views is her dance to Already Dead. In the video, Pokimane doesn’t give credit to YungNibb, but comments saying “I know it’s not identical to the original, I wanted to add my own twist to it with different poses,” which would later become the dance featured in the Fortnite emote. Artist Lil Boom, the original creator of the Already Dead song, has now accused Pokimane of stealing the song and dance and claiming them as her own for profit. Months after the emote was born, he has decided to air his grievances with the streamer publicly, his decision stemming from Pokimane’s recent Discord controversy which he says gave him “PTSD.” What has Pokimane been accused of? Lil Boom has made some serious accusations regarding stolen creative content from a person of color, manipulation, and lying. OfflineTV has also since responded. Lil Boom says that he and YungNibb were not given credit where it was due for their part in influencing Pokimane’s emote music and dance, telling Dexerto, “I personally felt as if she took the hype from the dance challenge to my song Already Dead to capitalize and profit by making her own version and selling it to Epic/Fortnite.” Screenshots of conversations with Pokimane show that she claims the song and dance are original and only influenced by the TikTok trend, but that she offered to tag them in comments. While accepting the credit given, Lil Boom and YungNibb felt that it was not enough. Lil Boom tweeted that he felt manipulated and lied to by Pokimane. He said: “Pokimane has manipulative tactics, She stole my whole song and dance and manipulated me into shutting up…I reached out to them to try and tell my story and was literally ignored about her manipulating and just got belittled.” https://twitter.com/heyliluchi/status/1333521407561650184?s=20 The musician also told Dexerto that he asked Pokimane for royalties from the money she earned using the song and dance, but was instead offered a “measly $500.” Lil Boom reaches out to OfflineTV In recent days, the creator has reached out to OfflineTV member Brodin Plett with the problems above, while also expressing that he was upset Pokimane was a “non-POC stealing from a POC.” Plett responded to Lil Boom saying that Pokimane is also POC: “she is 85% North African and was born in Morocco.” However, he told Dexerto these comments were taken out of context and a “misunderstanding.” In response to this, Lil Boom tweeted, “She doesn’t face anything I face every day when I wake up, she isn’t being stereotyped…she has a whole while privilege, @offlinetv f*** you for even trying to say we live the same life because she happened to be born in Africa.” https://twitter.com/heyliluchi/status/1333520707855265794?s=20 Both Pokimane and Brodin have since claimed that they assumed Lil Boom’s original message was a troll, and that Brodin’s response was “a joke.” Brodin himself informed Dexerto that “We’ve both apologized to each other and I apologized for assuming it was a troll message,” and that the matters had been ‘”resolved.” However, Boom has since told Dexerto “I have not resolved anything with Brodin,” and maintains that he continues to be manipulated and lied to by both the streamer and OfflineTV.

“Lil” Bryce Hall and “delirious” Austin McBroom roast each other before fight – Dexerto
“Lil” Bryce Hall and “delirious” Austin McBroom roast each other before fight Instagram, @brycehall / Instagram, @austinmcbroomTikTok celebrity Bryce Hall and YouTube superstar Austin McBroom are supposed to fight in the ring in June. But the bad blood is already boiling, as the influencers are getting toxic with each other on social media, a month in advance. When MTV’s series aired its last episode in 2007, many thought the days of public figures throwing claymation hands were over. And they were right. Over a decade later, it’s not clay celebrities smashing clay skulls, it’s real people really fighting over real money. In a world where the virtual blends with the IRL in some sort of symbiotic relationship that ’s writers would adore, social media influencers are keen on beating each other to a pulp. Perfectly reflecting this new arena, TikTok’s Bryce Hall and YouTube’s Austin McBroom continue to fight on Instagram and Twitter, building momentum for their real-world fight next month. Unsurprisingly, Bryce and Austin’s duel dialogue began back in December 2020 following some pot stirring by Jake Paul. It amplified in March when Bryce denied Austin’s $1 million fight offer, then again when he accepted a $5 million offer days later. Now, a month before their bout at the “YouTubers vs TikTokers” event, the two are getting especially spicy on the timeline. https://twitter.com/defnoodles/status/1380196665517170690 To start off the latest wave of Los Angelino banter, McBroom wrote a letter to Bryce on Instagram. Calling the infamous Sway House content creator his “son” and a “lil boy,” McBroom advised his scheduled opponent to stop “stirring up drama” and focus on his training. This comes days after Hall was filmed beefing with Kyle ‘Stromedy’ Godfrey out in public, likely spurring concern on McBroom’s side that Hall wouldn’t be prepared enough for their fight. But Bryce didn’t seem to enjoy the ACE Family father’s concern, responding by reposting the story, asking for prayers, and calling the 28-year-old “seriously delusional.” Then he shifted to Twitter for more spice. can we get a blood test on me considering this mcbum head thinks im on steroids 😂 just because a 21 year old is in better shape than you, doesn’t mean they’re on steroids dipfuck @AustinMcbroom — Bryce Hall (@BryceHall) April 8, 2021 Noting steroid rumors following Bryce’s from teenager to bulked-up influencer, Hall asked for a blood test because “this McBum head thinks I’m on steroids.” At about 21 years old and under 6’0”, physique and age appear to be central features to these influencers’ trash talk.

Lil Baby finally hits back at Logan Paul a year after he trashed his music – Dexerto
Lil Baby finally hits back at Logan Paul a year after he trashed his music YouTube: GQ, Best of imPaulsiveAmerican rap star Lil Baby has clapped back at YouTuber-turned-boxer Logan Paul exactly a year after the influencer trashed his music on the Impaulsive podcast. Lil Baby is one of the biggest names in the rap game right now. Best known for such hits as ‘Sum 2 Prove’ and ‘On Me,’ it’s safe to say that the rapper is widely hailed as one of the genre’s biggest rising stars… but YouTuber Logan Paul didn’t agree with this sentiment, at first. In 2020, Paul gave some scathing comments on Lil Baby’s music during an episode of his podcast, appearing to label the uber-popular music artist as a “mumble rapper.” “Bro, I’m gonna say it right now,” he began. “Lil Baby, he’ll pop up on my Spotify, and… I can’t f**king get away from Lil Baby songs. I’m all for the new artists, but this one in particular, I have no idea what he’s saying. I have none. It all sounds the same. His tone is the same. It’s all the same. I give him a year.” About one year later, Lil Baby posted a series of Tweets hitting back at Paul’s comments, specifically clapping back at Paul’s “I give him a year” remark. “Logan Who?” the rapper tweeted. “More like give ’em a year to have 100ms.” https://twitter.com/lilbaby4PF/status/1413132325911613445 https://twitter.com/lilbaby4PF/status/1413133375418761221 Logan was quick to respond to the situation — and didn’t seem to have an issue poking fun at himself. In reference to Lil Baby’s “Logan Who?” tweet, Paul changed his Twitter name to “Logan Who” and posted a humble statement recognizing Lil Baby’s status in the music biz. “I was wrong about Lil Baby,” Paul wrote. While this is far from the first time Paul has been called out by a celebrity, it’s certainly one of the funniest, showing that Lil Baby had no problem playing the long game to exact his perfect revenge on his internet critic.

“Lice Hall” – TikToker who stole Bryce Hall’s hat claims he has lice – Dexerto
“Lice Hall” – TikToker who stole Bryce Hall’s hat claims he has lice Bryce Hall/AJ_StefanoTikToker ‘aj_stefano,’ who stole one of Bryce Hall’s hats, claimed he got a “severe” case of head lice after wearing the baseball cap around for a few days. Social media star Bryce Hall moved to San Diego in May of 2021 and didn’t receive the warmest welcome when he showed up at an SDSU frat party. Hall claims he was “harassed” by the frat members during the party, with one of them even stealing the hat right off of his head. The incident was apparently enough to make the San Diego local news, as you can see in the clip below, and lead the influencer to press charges against the fraternity. Where this story gets interesting is the person who ended up with Bryce’s hat claims he got head lice from wearing it. Just a couple of days after that news story aired, a TikTok user by the name of aj_stefano, who also posted video of stealing Bryce’s hat at the frat party, made an upload where he said his head started itching after wearing his prize. “I guess this is sort of karma, but ever since I’ve been wearing Garden Gnome’s [Bryce Hall] hat my head’s been super itchy,” Stefano explained, while wearing what looks like a black trash bag on his head. “I just got back from the doctor, and I guess I have a severe case of lice. So… thanks a lot, Lice Hall.” Other than his TikToks showing him rocking his plunder around town, and the admittedly hilarious nickname “Lice Hall,” there’s really not much backing up Stefano’s claim that Bryce was the reason he ended up with lice. Read More: Bryce Hall hits back at claims he’s “scared” of pro rules in TikTokers vs YouTubers boxing event – Despite the funny claim, it is a bit hard to believe that Bryce Hall, who has over 7 million Instagram followers and makes his living on camera, would let a lice infestation on his head slide without treating it. So even though karma seems to have reared its head in this case, he now has to worry about the name “Lice Hall” catching on. Dexerto has reached out to Hall for a comment regarding the claims against him.

Liam Payne reveals he went to rehab after infamous Logan Paul podcast appearance – Dexerto
Liam Payne reveals he went to rehab after infamous Logan Paul podcast appearance Liam Payne / YouTubeFormer One Direction member, Liam Payne revealed he spent 100 days in a Louisiana rehab center after appearing on Logan Paul’s podcast. It’s been over a year since the now infamous episode of Logan Paul‘s podcast “IMPAULSIVE” where Logan interviewed former One Direction member Liam Payne about his life in the band. During the episode, fans of the singer were shocked to hear him talk about how he hated some of the other members, mainly Zayn Malk. Liam went on to claim that the whole band had been created “with my face, and then worked around the rest…”. However, this has since been disputed and X Factor even released footage showing the band’s first member was Niall Horan. One year after the podcast episode aired, Liam posted an update on his YouTube channel where he revealed he regretted what he’d said on the podcast and how it’d made him go to rehab. Liam Payne revealed his appearance on Logan Paul’s podcast made him go to rehab In the eight-minute video, the 29-year-old singer reflected on his decision to enter a Louisiana facility, admitting his disastrous appearance on Logan Paul’s podcast was a “life-changing moment” that sparked his decision to seek help for his problems with alcohol. Reflecting on how he felt after seeing himself speaking to Logan, Liam admitted: “I became somebody I didn’t really recognize anymore and I’m sure you guys didn’t either. “I was so angry at what was going on around me that instead of taking a look inwards I decided to take it outwards on everybody else.” Liam continued. “It was wrong really, and my own frustrations with my own career. I want to apologize for that. Liam was apologetic to his fans as he revealed watching the interview made him admit himself to a rehab center in Lousiana. He said it was a “wonderful place” that helped him “get [his] head straight.” “I was in bad shape up to that point,” he revealed. “I was really happy more than anything when I arrived to kind of put a stopper on life and work. I didn’t have my phone for nearly 100 days. “I didn’t connect to the outside world at all and it was kind of prepping me for that moment. “Upon leaving was actually the hardest point was turning the phone back on… because it was a little bit scary.” Other One Direction band members “came to the rescue” Payne also claimed his former bandmates Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson, and Zayn Malik “came to the rescue” despite admitting he didn’t like Malik during an appearance on Logan Paul’s podcast. “The rest of the boys really stuck by me when I needed them most, they kinda came to the rescue. Even Zayn, as well, which is why I did send him a little thank you online. It came across really big-headed didn’t it?” Liam revealed he celebrated 100 days of sobriety in May and also announced a South and Latin American tour, slated to take place later this fall. Elsewhere in the video, the entertainer shared updates on both his struggle and successes as a father and thanked fans for sticking by him throughout his tumultuous journey.

Liam Payne wants to fight Justin Bieber, KSI, and Jake Paul – Dexerto
Liam Payne wants to fight Justin Bieber, KSI, and Jake Paul IG: Jake Paul/YouTube: IMPAULSIVE/Justin BieberOne Direction star Liam Payne has revealed that he would consider facing some famous faces in the boxing ring, including pop superstar Justin Bieber, YouTuber KSI, and even pro boxer Jake Paul. Having made his name on Vine alongside his brother Logan, Jake Paul has set his sights on conquering anyone who dares face him in the boxing ring. Jake is never one to shy away from challenging the most legendary and tough names in the industry. Just some of the UFC and boxing icons that Jake has wanted to take on include Anderson Silva and Mike Tyson. It looks like Jake could soon be facing a new face in the ring however as British singer Liam Payne claimed that he would be up for taking on the Cruiserweight. Liam Payne vs Justin Bieber? On May 31, Payne joined content creator and boxer Logan Paul for his IMPAULSIVE podcast. Having shared his newfound passion for combat sports, he was asked about who he would be willing to fight on a one-to-one. Although he claimed that he would “just enjoy the challenge” of a fight, he would be up for facing stars like YouTuber KSI. Logan, who famously faced KSI in the boxing ring on two occasions, discouraged any such idea warning Payne “he can fight, bro.” After co-host Mike Majlak suggested Payne could fight Logan, The Maverick quickly fired back asking if the singer would take on his brother Jake. Although he was warned not to by the podcast group, Payne was tempted by the idea. (Topic begins at 1:00:48) Logan also had another potential challenger who Payne could fight in the ring: “I really do think a fight between you and Bieber could be really interesting.” Payne, however, claimed that he didn’t “believe” Bieber would do it because while the singer is “skilled” he’s also “little.” Yet, Payne said he would be down for the challenge if Bieber “did want to do it.” Jake hasn’t responded to Payne’s offer as of writing. Although, given the long list of names who have already issued him a challenge, he might not even have the time to face the former One Direction band member.

Johnson is best known from her time on the Fine Bros. REACT series and has since grown her own fanbase on YouTube and social media. In a previous livestream on December 24, Johnson was emotional and caused some fans distress. Despite concerns, she reassured viewers that she wasn’t on drugs, but that her behavior stemmed from her “interesting mindset”. She then went quiet over the holiday period, reemerging after the new year for a livestream on January 2, but it did little to quell fans’ concerns as the stream ended abruptly at the hands of her producer. Johnson, clearly intoxicated, can be seen kissing the man just out of frame at around 15 minutes into the livestream, as music plays loudly and thousands of viewers watch on. Moments later, the man, believed to be photographer/producer Steven Wetherbee, can be heard asking: “Are you on Instagram? No you’re not – you can’t be on Instagram. Are you really on Instagram? Because that would be bad.” As Lia doesn’t respond, the man asks again: “Were you on Instagram? Lia? Were you on Instagram?” Lia then responds “no,” to which he asks: “Then what is this? Tell me the truth. What is this?” The producer then takes the phone and turns off the stream himself, explaining: “Now we’re going back to us. I’m hijacking your phone.” After going live again, the man can be heard whispering: “Lia, I need this not to go out, because it will affect my work, please, turn it off.” “Lia I need this to not go out because it will effect my work” this is chilling. Lia Marie Johnson is in serious danger… pic.twitter.com/ark150mrTK — T (@t_stockk) January 2, 2020 It is believed that a viewer or multiple viewers called police to attend the residence, with Johnson stating on stream “f**k all of you, do not send the f**king police to my f**king address.” Later on January 2, Johnson went live once again, and explained the situation further. “The cops showed up, and detained me, put cuffs on my hands. […] There’s no reason to worry, I’m OK. I just want to be left alone.” https://twitter.com/radioheadsng/status/1212705516872318979 Johnson ended the stream by thanking people for support and help, but said she would be “f**king off out of everyone’s lives like you want me to.” It’s unclear if the police also detained the man who was seen in the original livestream on January 2.

LG streamer in tears after claiming she was scammed by merch company – Dexerto
LG streamer in tears after claiming she was scammed by merch company Tori ParenoUpdate 2/4/20: GMP has responded to Dexerto and said the situation with Pareno was a “miscommunication between the gentleman that was trying to manage Tori, The GMP and Tori herself.” “We designed, printed, and hosted Tori’s website free of charge,” GMP told Dexerto in an email. “We had an agreement between the GMP and Tori’s manager that was supposed to be a once-a-month payment of 50% of the revenue that was made. Her 1st payment would have been today [Feb. 3] based on the launch date of her website, which was January 1.” “After seeing Tori’s video of her pouring out her feelings to Twitter, we then reached out to her to see where all this was coming from, and she stated the problem was not with us – it was the promises she was given by the gentleman that was trying to manage her,” GMP continued. “We have rectified the situation with Tori and we are sending her a payment this week. We never got any customer complaints about merch being delivered on an untimely basis.” Pareno has yet to comment on the situation at the time of this update. The original story can be read below: Luminosity Gaming streamer Tori Pareno gave an emotional apology on Twitter after fans complained that they weren’t receiving merchandise they bought from her site and a had lack of customer support. Pareno joined Luminosity in 2019 and continues to grow her fanbase on Twitch, Instagram, YouTube, and even TikTok. As with most content creators these days, Pareno decided to set up a merch store for fans, but things didn’t seem to go smoothly as the streamer begged fans to not order any more items from her website on February 2. due to a few inconveniences, my website will NOT be active for the time being. please don’t make any purchases from this point on since im not sure if the “”team”” i was working with will continue to send out merch or fix my website. im so sorry. i will try to fix ASAP. — Tori (@ToriPareno) February 3, 2020 “Due to a few inconveniences, my website will NOT be active for the time being,” Pareno wrote on Feb. 2. “Please don’t make any purchases from this point on since im not sure if the “team” I was working with will continue to send out merch or fix my website.” She followed up the tweet with a couple of tearful videos addressing the issue the next day, while apologizing to fans who hadn’t received the items they had purchased as well. “I was working with a team who wanted to help me start up my merch site, and they said I was going to get paid in a month,” a tearful Pareno explained. “The month happened, I didn’t get paid for any of the merch you guys have purchased.” “I wanted to do this for you guys, you know?” The streamer told her fans. “This was my first merch launch and it failed so badly, because like, all the red flags just flew over my head.” Pareno reiterated her warning to fans that they shouldn’t purchase anything else from her website, since there was no way for her to make sure they would receive the items they paid for. “Please do not purchase anything on my website. Do not. I’m not sure if you’re going to receive anything, I’m not sure if I’m going to receive anything,” she said. “In the end, the people who “helped” me, they didn’t even take down the website, and I can’t do anything about it.” Dexerto reached out to the company that set up Pareno’s site, GMP distribution, for comment on the allegations, and have included their response in an update at the top of this article. Hopefully, for Pareno and her fans, the merch issue can be easily resolved, but it does go to show why content creators should be cautious about who they decide to go into business with online.

LGBT streamer asks Twitch to reverse ban after using slur – Dexerto
LGBT streamer asks Twitch to reverse ban after using slur TwitchAn LGBT Twitch streamer is hitting out at the platform for banning her after using a slur she claims was for “reclamation” purposes. Twitch has had its fair share of controversy over slurs in the past few months, beginning with popular streamer Hasan Piker getting banned for using the word “cracker.” This has continued into 2022 with others such as JustaMinx being suspended for using the controversial word on stream. Now, another streamer has been given a seven day suspension, this time for using a derogatory LGBT slur, but she says she was within her right to use it. On top of the financial aspect, I’m honestly afraid of the mental toll this is going to take on me. I’ve only just started feeling better, and I’ve just been robbed of my only daily activity and socialization. This feels like a cruel joke. — MaddieTheLe$bean (@MaddiesALesbian) April 11, 2022 Streamer banned for LGBT slur On April 10, streamer MaddieTheLesbian revealed that Twitch had banned her for seven days after she used a slur in chat while having an “educational discussion on what reclamation is.” “So Twitch Support, is there a REASON I’m banned for saying the word in a chat I mod when reclamation is within TOS?” she asked. “I’ve never done anything wrong and this was INSTANT. 7 days without streaming will destroy me.” She further stressed that she was worried the ban would take a serious mental toll on her and that it threatened her partnership with Epic Games and put her income at risk. Another update that this now jeopardizes my Epic Games partnership, further putting my income at risk. All from an automated ban. It’s disgusting. @TwitchSupport @twitch your TOS allows for reclamation of slurs pic.twitter.com/2CL04utiZO — MaddieTheLe$bean (@MaddiesALesbian) April 11, 2022 “All from an automated ban. It’s disgusting. Twitch, your TOS allows for reclamation of slurs,” she blasted. In a blog post, the company stated that it would allow the use of some terms that could be used as slurs, “as not to alienate or limit the expression of communities on Twitch.” As of April 12, Maddie’s channel has still not been restored and she says she is still waiting for her appeal to be processed.

Lewdtubers want you to know they’re like any other VTuber – here’s why – Dexerto
Lewdtubers want you to know they’re like any other VTuber – here’s why Twitch: CottontailVA / Twitch: KaiyoVirtual content creation exploded when VTubing became more prevalent and accessible. That trend continued to more adult content. However, lewdtubers still face prejudice and stigma in various circles online — despite the fact they say they are no different to their ‘seiso’ counterparts. For Vexoria the Sun Eater, VTubing started out as a fun activity she could share with her husband Zolon. After their anniversary plans were snuffed out in 2020, they wanted to share their gaming experiences with the world. Sure, there were all the conscious choices about whether it would be a full-time thing — she was still studying Psychology at the time — or if they would both be comfortable in the long term. But there was one fact set out early on: “I knew right off the bat that I could not be seiso,” she laughed. “I swear way too much, I make too many innuendos and too many sexual jokes. “I figured being a lewdtuber would probably be more up my alley. I wouldn’t have to put on a full mask. If a lewd comment came to my head as a joke, I wouldn’t feel like I’d have to bite my tongue about it. I can just say it and have people laugh at it.” If you thought VTubing was a new phenomenon, lewdtubing is much more recent. While animated adult content has been around the internet for eons, it wasn’t until Projekt Melody came into the limelight in 2020 that people started seeing this as not just an idea grounded in fiction, but something they could do themselves. Lewdtubing has taken off much more in the 3D VTubing space, where full-body animated models can play out scenarios. But it’s not limited to those with full-body rigs. Nowadays, lewdtuber is used as a catch-all term for all adult content creators who happen to be VTubers. As Projekt Melody opened the world’s eyes to this form of content creation, others followed suit. CottontailVA is one of the most popular lewdtubers, with hundreds of thousands of followers. It’s not her entire brand, but it is a big part of the content she makes. “I think it’s every kid’s dream, at my age range, to be a YouTuber,” she told Dexerto. “I grew up in the era of PewDiePie. I would watch him and I was like this is the dream.” She got into voice acting work through a fan Danganronpa project that ended up falling through. However soon after an opportunity for more spicy work turned up, and from there she found her niche. “You know what’s crazy? I would always say I would be a hentai voice actor because I used to join Overwatch lobbies, adults only, and I would moan into the microphone and it would help our team,” she laughed. “We would turn around and win.” However, despite her wild popularity and the lucrative nature of VTubing, there is still a stigma against adult content creators. And that doesn’t change the moment you do it with a model. Empowering nature of an avatar VTubing as an adult creator, in the same way it does for regular streaming, can help bring anonymity and comfort to those who may not otherwise think of doing it. “You could do OnlyFans and you could show your name and face, but that’s very scary to me,” Cotton said. “I am an acupuncturist, so if I want to someday work at a fancy clinic, they would do some research. I think I’ve covered my trail pretty good, but if they found out I did NSFW stuff, they wouldn’t let me into that establishment. “The carefreeness of having the safety net of still getting a job and not being blacklisted because I just did p*rn for a bit is nice. I wish it wasn’t like that, but you have to play the game.” It lets people explore a different side of their creativity. Lewdtubing is more than explicit video. They aren’t limited to their VTuber selves if they’re comfortable, and there’s so many opportunities to make adult content — if that’s what you want to do. “I find that a lot of people who like my regular Twitch content flocked over to see the adult content to be like ‘oh what does Vex look like,’” Vex said. “Then they’re like ‘oh well I’m going to stick around for this’ or they’re like ‘maybe this isn’t for me and I don’t want the real-life pictures but I’ll go buy the ASMR every month.’ I think it gives people a choice. “I’ve seen people offer Discord calls, like sex calls,” Cotton added. “You’ve got people selling clothes. Aside from the voice stuff, you can do roleplay. If you’re an artist, you can do NSFW art. If you’re good at silicon molds, you can make custom [toys]. “You can do whatever you want. As long as it’s not hurting anyone or illegal, it’s all fun. It’s freeing, after spending a lot of my adolescence being ashamed for being sexually open. It’s great to be proud of it.” Having an avatar is empowering for more than the creators. It can also be a good ice breaker for viewers, who may not be comfortable talking about sexual topics. Cotton and Vex have gone to conventions together to talk about adult content creation. They are also hosts of a regular sex education stream, where viewers can submit questions about topics they’re curious about but never got the answer to. “I’ve had a lot of people say through the sex ed streams, they’ve discovered a lot about themselves,” Cotton continued. “They’ve confided that they haven’t been treated well in intimate events, and they appreciate us giving them self-worth back to their ability to consent and say no. “It breaks my heart to hear that, but it makes me glad to hear people notice their word is important and they are surrounding themselves with better people.” The stigmatization of sex work Ask any content creator and the story of getting into streaming is pretty similar. Most see it as a great opportunity to flex their creativity, or connect with others. But when you throw ‘adult’ into the label, all of a sudden the tone of the ‘why?’ changes. There is a stigma around adult content creation, in the same way there is a stigma about sex in society. Lewdtubing is a way for VTubers to subvert those norms and express themselves freely — while also remaining somewhat anonymous. “My family grew up very religious,” Cotton said. “You couldn’t talk about sex. I was very interested in it.” “The appeal of doing NSFW content creation is the acceptance and freedom of being judged. Especially in the VTubing sphere where it’s more anonymous than your regular content creation. My face isn’t out there, my name isn’t out there. I do have more freedom to not worry about what those judgmental people in my real life say or think.” VTubers are in many ways treated the same as their flesh counterparts when it comes to adult content creation. Platform policing is very erratic. It’s hard to grow and gain traction for those who split content between Twitch or YouTube and other sites like Fansly or OnlyFans. The former do not typically allow cross-promotion of the latter. “People will bring up stuff on Twitch and I’ll be like ‘guys? Are you trying to get me banned,’” Vex laughed. “Or they’ll use the TTS bot to say something really sexual and I’ll be like ‘guys you can’t do that, I won’t be able to stream for you! You’ve got to be careful!’ “I don’t call it Fansly on Twitch because Twitch doesn’t allow you to solicit that kind of stuff. You can’t say ‘hey I’m streaming on Fansly and all my adult content is here.’ So we call it the Blue Twitch, or there’s codewords.” That talking in code is a hindrance. It perpetuates the stigma that ‘sex’ is dirty, and that adult content creation is taboo. For Twitch’s part, it aims to “maintain the health of our community”, and so bans the promotion of sexual content through links or cross-promotion. VTubers also feel unfairly policed by platforms on sexual content. There have been numerous instances of VTubers getting banned just as they debut a new model because it doesn’t cover the right amount of skin. Some feel like their bans aren’t justified compared to what others do on the same platforms, just with their human selves. Even between VTubers there’s no clear line of enforcement. “What someone gets banned for over here, someone may not over there,” Vex continued. “It’s the wild west when it comes to that kind of stuff, because god forbid you show underboob!” It can cost lewdtubers opportunities: both Vexoria and Cotton have shared stories of lost sponsorships and deals because of one side of their content. It doesn’t matter about what else they do — Vex is also known for her charity work — it all comes back to the lewds. Some adult brands support VTubers, but often they cannot get the same sponsorship benefits as mentioning said services on Twitch or YouTube is banworthy. This makes the money less lucrative than what they could be earning for their brand worth. On top of that, there is the stigma that adult content creation is ‘dirty money’. If you have a family to support on that income, like in the case of Vex, fingers get pointed. “I send my children away every time I do something adult, but people are still out there saying ‘how are you going to explain to your children that you do this?’ They don’t know that I do adult content because they’re young and I would never tell them that. “The money I make from that kind of content? It pays for their clothes, their school supplies. I’m a parent and I’m of the mindset that I’m going to do what I have to do to take care of my kids and make sure they have everything they need to be successful in what they want to do with their life. “If the money I make from lewdtubing lets them go to college and pursue their dreams, go and take all that money.” While women make up the majority of lewdtubers online, men are not excluded from the same criticisms. They sometimes face prejudice for the audiences who consume their content — content ‘made for women’ often leads to female fans being harassed. But they also face the same arguments of dirty money, having to talk in code, and being policed. Kaiyo is an example of success in the male adult content creation space. While he doesn’t consider himself a ‘lewdtuber’ fully, he produces NSFW voice acting work which draws massive engagement. In fact, that’s the most popular medium for men working in the lewdtubing space. “It’s something that developed the more I was in the VTubing community,” he explained. “I never thought I would do this. “I actually just made that other account for posting art I didn’t want to post on main. It started off as purely a NSFW art account, but one day I was like ‘what if I just posted an audio’ because there were so many other people, especially guys, doing it. I went with the flow and now we’re here. The expansion of lewdtubing into new domains and audiences shows the appeal for this kind of content is there. “I think a lot of it popped off from TikTok,” he continued. “There’s a lot of people on there, they hear any sound that sounds like a moan or whimper and they go crazy. That hype transferred over to Twitter and made this whole thing about men whimpering.” Why the “seiso vs lewd” debate helps no one Every six months or so, a new debate emerges in the VTubing community about who has it harder: seiso (safe) content creators, or their lewd counterparts. The arguments from both sides have some merit. Seiso creators believe creating adult content is a cheat code to get more engagement and grow. Lewd creators highlight the stigma that comes with doing that, and while the numbers can be higher, the comments can be harsher. What gets lost in this is, at the end of the day, they’re all creating content. It’s just different strokes for different folks. “There’s always going to be people who believe in the purity of VTubing,” Vex admitted. “Seiso VTubers have their own struggles, and I know lewdtubers have their own too. I think it’s important to remember that everyone who does this is a person and you don’t have to be a f**king asshole.” While it’s more closely tied to Vex and Cotton’s whole brands, Kaiyo’s NSFW content is more cleanly segregated from his usual streams and videos. Having that clearer definition — across accounts — can be more appealing for brands, or even audiences who want one or the other. “It’s nice to have an audience I can post content for and not have to worry about getting to know them too much. For my main side, it’s important for me to get to know my community and get to know my regulars,” Kaiyo explained. “I have a lot of viewers from my seiso side that follow my NSFW stuff. In the beginning, I thought it was necessary to let them know about it… it was easy support by letting your current following know. At first, it was awkward, but I’ve gotten used to it now and it’s fun.” However, he remarked on how ‘wholesome’ creators sometimes are “held in a higher regard. “I don’t know why it matters so much to people about what other people do if it’s not harmful. It’s very unnecessary and immature. We’re all consenting adults here. There’s no need to be so weird about it. “There are so many tweets that I see… when people are like ‘if I was being lewd and doing spicy content, I would have grown so much more easily. I’m working harder and not getting anywhere because I’m seiso.’ I see that so often. I got a pretty decent audience before I started doing NSFW content. A lot of people use that as a scapegoat.” It also plays into consent. Lewdtubers all said they were more careful in the communities they engaged with. They have strict age rules, and also they are more deliberate in the company they foster. In the same way there is consent in sex, there is consent in sexual content. “You have to consent in everything you do,” Vex said. “If you don’t, that’s grounds for legal issues. “Having those open, communicative conversations, and having that consent, is extremely important to have a really good time with whatever you’re doing sexually. That doesn’t matter if it’s with a partner you’ve been with for a super long time, or a complete stranger and it’s a one-off.” No matter what lewdtubers do, there will likely be people abhorred by the fact people make sexual content online. What matters from there is how they react to that energy. Do they step away from creating altogether and giving up their passion, or finding their own community? “Sometimes they’re almost offended by me being open sexually, but I’m not here to make anyone uncomfortable, so I don’t need to interact with that,” Cotton said. “I don’t like that feeling of rejection, dismissiveness, or shame that I had growing up with sex. I don’t bother with people who can’t let people do their own thing. And ultimately, the more we talk about it, the more accepting the community will become. “You have Projekt Melody, who paved the way for the rest of us to go ahead and be ourselves and do what we want to do and have it be acceptable and made it more mainstream for people like myself and Cotton and other lewdtubers to be comfortable with doing that kind of thing,” Vex concluded. “My hope would be that people would be able to be who they are and not be judged for it. Even if people don’t do lewd content themselves, just be able to appreciate the craft for what it is.”

What happened to Lexi on Below Deck Mediterranean? Why Captain Sandy fired her – Dexerto
What happened to Lexi on Below Deck Mediterranean? Why Captain Sandy fired her BravoLexi Wilson’s run as part of the Below Deck Mediterranean Season 6 cast was as dramatic as anyone who has featured on Bravo’s hit show before. Here, we take a look at what happened to Lexi on the show and beyond. Lexi Wilson, a former stewardess on Captain Sandy’s crew in season 6, was seen getting physical with crewmates and shouting obscenities at them during different parts of the charter season. Eventually, it came to a head and she was asked to leave the boat. Here, we’re going to run through everything that happened with some of the most dramatic recap clips the hit series has ever seen. Contents What happened to Lexi from Below Deck Med? – Why did Captain Sandy fire Lexi? – Did Lexi go to Below Deck reunion? – Does Lexi from Below Deck have Instagram? – What happened to Lexi from Below Deck Med? Lexi Wilson was fired in Below Deck Mediterranean Season 6, after a series of confrontations with the season’s chef. Why did Captain Sandy fire Lexi? Below Deck sacking explained After Lexi previously threatened to quit over a feud with chef Mathew Shea, Captain Sandy Yawn eventually stepped in to fire her in Season 6 over “disturbing” behavior. At the reunion, Sandy said the following after rewatching the show: “[It was] disturbing. I wish that the crew would have painted the picture for me. Just hearing it’s bad isn’t a description of behavior… In a position I am in, I need details.” Once she was given details, she made the decision to let her go. Lexi was involved in an ongoing feud with the chef throughout the charter season, giving him orders about how to plate food – which really ticked him off. Later, at dinner, Mathew stated that the crew didn’t like having Lexi on the team, sparking a confrontation between the two. During that meal, she said: “If this wasn’t on camera, I would smack your ass.” She also yelled that his parents should have aborted him. Watch a recap below from Hayu, where Chef Mathew kicks Lexi out of the kitchen. The chef had left the yacht one morning, much to Sandy’s surprise. At the time, the captain had heard vague information about the two having a bust-up but nothing concrete. After a chain of conflict between him and Lexi, her superior – chief stewardess Katie Flood – wanted to step in with some firm feedback. However, Lexi decided to take a phone call during the conversation – saying she was calling her Mom and ready to quit. “This is becoming a… Do you want to be here?” Katie said, but Lexi took a phone call and replied: “I don’t care… Mom I can’t deal with this.” You can watch a recap from Bravo below, showing when it reached breaking point for Lexi. Since the show, Katie has said Lexi was far worse off-camera and Malia stated if anything, her on-screen time was nicely edited. Did Lexi go to Below Deck reunion? After her firing from Below Deck Med, Lexi decided not to attend the show’s reunion episode. The reunion was highly anticipated, as a chance for her to respond after watching the episodes back, but it never came to fruition. Does Lexi from Below Deck have Instagram? During the show, Lexi was active on Instagram and would post about her journey on board – however, she doesn’t have a public Instagram account anymore. Her Instagram username has since been taken by somebody else. She had removed all mention of Below Deck from her profile and was slapped with a shadow ban in August 2021, posting: “On a 9 days Hiatus because of Shadow-ban.”

Lettuce goes viral on TikTok after outlasting Liz Truss in time challenge – Dexerto
Lettuce goes viral on TikTok after outlasting Liz Truss in time challenge Daily Star / WikimediaA lettuce has become a viral sensation on TikTok by winning a bizarre time challenge with Liz Truss, after the UK Prime Minister announced her resignation on October 20. Liz Truss lost the confidence of the Conservative Party after finding themselves 30 points down in voter polling, as reported by the BBC, throwing the towel in after just 44 days. Keir Starmer, leader of the opposition and The Labour Party, called for a General Election just hours before Truss told the country she was leaving office. The Conservatives, however, have announced plans to reignite a leadership contest with Boris Johnson reported to be eyeing up his old role. Johnson resigned back in July, following the party gate controversy and slumps in the polls. For Britons, there has been one silver lining in all of this political instability, as a single lettuce celebrated a victory over the outbound leader. Lettuce goes viral after outlasting Liz Truss After Liz Truss was installed as Prime Minister on September 6, a UK newspaper set up a livestream of a lettuce, stating its intention to last longer than her. On October 20, the Daily Star‘s experiment became a viral sensation on TikTok, as it still looked in decent shape as the news broke about her exit from No.10 Downing Street. The message alongside the wig-wearing vegetable changed from “Can this lettuce outlast Liz Truss?” to “This lettuce has outlasted Liz Truss.” It also says on the livestream that the lettuce will “address the nation” at 6 PM local time, pictured celebrating with a bottle of Gordon’s gin. Very British. The lettuce has been featured in a number of viral posts since the former Prime Minister resigned. The clip below, from smol.ames, shows them playing the national anthem after the victory was declared. TikTok users had been following the time challenge for days. Whether or not it will last long enough to oversee a UK General Election, however, remains to be seen.

Lele Pons shares crazy childhood kidnapping story on Logan Paul podcast – Dexerto
Lele Pons shares crazy childhood kidnapping story on Logan Paul podcast YouTube: ImpaulsiveYouTuber and former Vine star Lele Pons has opened up about her experience of being kidnapped at the age of five in her birth country of Venezuela on Logan Paul’s podcast. Pons rose to prominence on the now inactive six-second video sharing app Vine, where she made comedy content for a follower base of 10 million. Now, she makes a range of content on YouTube, with over 17 million subscribers, and 40 million followers on Instagram. Lele has previously been open about the darker parts of her life normally unseen in her lighthearted content, via a series on her channel called the Secret Life of Lele Pons. In these videos she talked about her struggles with OCD, ADHD, and Tourette’s syndrome. In episode 212 of the Impaulsive podcast, Lele went into some of the details behind a frightening kidnapping experience she had as a child in Venezuela. “I’ve been kidnapped before and I survived,” she announces as the topic arises, with Logan saying that she’s had a “crazy life” and encouraging her to speak about her experiences with the kidnappers. Topic starts at 35:15 “They just wanted money,” she explained. “My grandfather owns tractors, a lot of tractors in Venezuela. They wanted to kidnap me and my mom for money.” As Lele explains, her Grandparents came from Italy and brought items from Italy to start a business, her Grandfather being “the rich one.” “They wanted money. They kidnapped us but they crashed into a tree. There was a village and we were able to escape. I don’t remember but this is what my mom told me.” She said that her and her family “left right away the next day and didn’t come back” until she was 13. Due to years of lack of investment in infrastructure and the country’s political and economic decline, around 4.8 million Venezuelan people have left the country since the crisis began in 2014, according to the United Nations. Leona Lewis sends fans wild with TikTok from Shane Dawson’s iconic mansion Leona Lewis/TikTok, Shane Dawson/InstagramPop star Leona Lewis made fans go wild as she filmed a TikTok in YouTuber Shane Dawson’s former home, which he sold in 2019. British X Factor winner Leona Lewis has been very active on TikTok lately as she takes part in random trends on the short-form video platform. From throwback videos to an adorable rendition of the Little Mermaid song Part of Your World performed in the pool with her daughter, Leona is becoming quite the TikTok star. But one video, which now has over 1.5 million views, made viewers take a second look as they realized the Bleeding Love singer was living in Shane Dawson‘s previous home in Studio City in Los Angeles. Shane put the house on the market in 2019 after he and his husband Ryland Adams bought a $3 million mansion in Calabasas. The house sold in May that year for exactly $2 million to fashion exec Maria Tomei Borromeo, Dirt reports. Borromeo owned the house for two years, where she completely flipped the house in a major renovation. She then went on to sell the home for $2.6 million to Leona and her husband in 2021. But it wasn’t until now that fans seem to have realized what house Leona was living in. Fans go wild after realizing Leona Lewis lives in Shane Dawson’s former home After seeing the video Leona made in her home, viewers went crazy as they quickly recognized the front door to be Shane’s previous home. Lele Pons reveals “severe” OCD & depression in emotional YouTube series Lele Pons, YouTubeYouTube star Lele Pons is one of the net’s most popular online entertainers — but life as a social media celebrity isn’t all sunshine and roses, as she revealed in her new YouTube Originals series, “The Secret Life of Lele Pons.” Pons is touted for her hilarious sketches and over-the-top sense of humor, garnering over 16 million subscribers on YouTube and over 40 million followers on Instagram after finding massive success on Vine. While Pons’ life might seem perfect from in front of a smartphone screen, the star revealed it’s anything but, as told in the first episode of her YouTube Originals series that aired on May 19. https://www.instagram.com/p/CAYAJWQJ9gz/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link The show’s first episode, titled, “I Have Severe OCD,” revealed that Pons has been diagnosed with OCD, depression, ADHD, and even Tourette’s Syndrome — with her OCD taking an especially heavy toll on her day-to-day life. “OCD doesn’t leave you,” the YouTuber explained. “In times that I’m sad, in times that I’m going through stuff, OCD is there. It’s just really hard, because there’s triggers, and in OCD, if you are triggered — let’s just say, to do something — you have to do it.” “My OCD is thoughts,” she continued. “Very, very powerful thoughts that make me do stuff that I don’t want to do. …when you have a condition that controls you most of the time, you wish you didn’t have that.” Pons went on to explain that she’s had the disorder since she was a child, and often has to carry out certain “rituals” three times before moving on, which was evidenced by a tearful video of the star trying to resist getting up and sitting down from a chair three times. Pons’ docuseries also touched on the hateful comments she receives online, with the star admitting how much the negativity affects her. “When did it all become that?” Lele said in another tearful segment. “When did it all become so, like, evil? What’s happening here is that people are making hating me ‘cool.’” Pons’ docuseries has since taken to the top of YouTube’s trending page, with fans speaking out in support for one of the platform’s biggest content creators in wake of her soul-baring confession.

Lele Pons breaks down after revealing “evil” social media comments – Dexerto
Lele Pons breaks down after revealing “evil” social media comments Lele Pons, YouTube[jwplayer mgzBNoPb]YouTube star and former Viner Lele Pons has added another episode to her original documentary series — one that highlights the slew of hateful comments she receives on social media and how they affect her mental health. Lele’s docuseries, titled ‘The Secret Life of Lele Pons,’ unveiled her “severe” OCD, depression and Tourette’s Syndrome, with the YouTuber admitting that she’s dealt with the conditions since she was a small child. Revealing tearful therapy sessions, tics, rituals and triggers, Lele’s series has delved into the often debilitating parts of her life that fans don’t see — but its latest episode, aired on June 16, exposed a world some viewers know all too well. https://www.instagram.com/p/CBgOxyClgki/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link It’s no secret that social media personalities often bear the brunt of the internet’s displeasure, with many online entertainers sitting at the forefront of hateful comments and even outright harassment. For Pons, one of the worst cases of harassment occurred after her performance at Venezuela Aid Live, an event meant to bring awareness to human rights issues in the country. Despite being a proud Venezuelan, many critics accused the singer of using her time at the event as a publicity stunt, with the series exposing a plethora of hateful comments asking Pons to take her own life. “A stranger just told me I look like Lele Pons,” one user wrote. “Someone please kill me.” “Please kill yourself,” another commented. “Unfunny.” Pons broke down in tears over the vitriol during the episode, admitting that her OCD leads her to obsessively check hateful comments despite encouragement to step back from social media. “They just don’t understand that it hurts,” she sobbed. “For you to like that it hurts — that’s so evil. And what did I do wrong for people to be like, ‘I hate her.’ When did it all become that? When did it all become so evil? What’s happening here is people are making hating me cool.” (Topic begins at 20:19) “It’s so hard,” she continued. “It’s so hard because I’m so tired of like, whatever I do… ten years go by and I do everything right, but there’s always people that are going to be so mean to me for no reason.” The YouTuber has since been met with an outpouring of sympathy in wake of an emotional episode that has left fans both shocked and proud that she is revealing such an intimate part of her life with the world.

Lele Pons explains how she deals with haters on her YouTube videos – Dexerto
Lele Pons explains how she deals with haters on her YouTube videos YouTube: Jeff WittekPopular YouTuber Eleonora ‘Lele’ Pons Maronese has publicly addressed her haters and negativity on her sketches, as she visited Jeff Wittek’s ‘Barber Shop’ on January 31. The Venezuelan-born internet personality originally made her name on Vine, prior to the site’s closure back in 2016. Since then she has branched out onto YouTube, creating comedy sketches and other content for her 15 million subscribers. She has also amassed an incredible Instagram following, sitting at 38.8 million followers at the time of writing. However, alongside her substantial social following, she has also struggled with negativity and vitriol on some of her videos. The majority of her YouTube videos are hit with thousands of dislikes (alongside the likes from her regular audience), and she has been embroiled in a number of controversies over the last few years. On January 31, she joined professional barber Jeff Wittek for a segment on his YouTube channel, in which he cuts celebrities’ hair as he conducts an interview with them. Among other topics, the pair discussed the hate Pons often receives from the online community. “There’s a lot of people on the internet that make videos picking apart your content,” Wittek said. “How do you deal with the hate?” “Therapy. Yeah I get a lot of hate,” acknowledged the 23-year-old. “For the kids that are getting hate, I like to be an example [for them].” “If they’re like “wow, she gets so much hate but look how good she’s doing”,” Pons continued. “So, the more hate, the more I inspire other kids who are getting hate to be stronger.” The Venezuelan also stated that she does not watch the videos made about her, explaining that they would affect her mood and therefore her content. Regardless of the opinion people hold of Pons, she appears to be maintaining a strong attitude in the face of the negativity she receives. It is the latest success in Wittek’s segment, which has been widely praised as humanizing a number of celebrities in a way they are rarely seen by viewers. Read More: Tfue pickpocketed again while in Miami – While it likely won’t bring an end to the negativity she receives, it might make people think twice before aiming their anger at the Venezuelan content creator.

Leffen under fire for claims streaming is “harder” than most jobs – Dexerto
Leffen under fire for claims streaming is “harder” than most jobs YouTube: Leffen[jwplayer HzGXTLnp]Veteran Smash Bros. competitor, William ‘Leffen’ Hjelte has come under fire on social media for a controversial claim that livestreaming video games on Twitch is “harder” than most other jobs. Leffen hasn’t quite been able to steer clear of headlines for controversial takes of late. Just last week much of the Call of Duty community lashed out over his aggressive behavior towards Team Summertime’s Davis ‘Hitch’ Edwards on the topic of Skill-Based Matchmaking. Since then, his Twitter fingers have been primed and ready to go. A few days later and the Swedish pro has jumped back into the spotlight once more. Arguing about the value of certain Smash games, prominent community member ‘iamrickles’ pointed out how Leffen made a good chunk of change. The pro player earned a good amount from streaming Smash Ultimate – a game that he often criticizes. “Whatever you paid for Ultimate I guarantee streaming and making content for it has made you all that money back and more,” he outlined. It didn’t take long before Leffen fired back, explaining how it was his efforts that made the money, not the platform Smash afforded him. “I f***ing sold my body and soul to make that money. You think you have to love and respect every sh***y job you do for money? I’d rather flip burgers at McDonald’s if it paid the same amount.” One controversial tweet led into another as Leffen kept unloading. I fucking sold my body and soul to make that money lmao, you think you have to love and respect every shitty job you do for money? I’d rather flip burgers at mcdonalds if it paid the same amount. — TSM Leffen (@TSM_Leffen) September 27, 2020 “As someone who has actually worked a minimum wage job bagging groceries, and ‘just played video games’, I’d take the flipping burgers,” he added. “Trust me, you know absolutely nothing about streaming Ultimate if you think minimum wage jobs are harder.” https://twitter.com/TSM_Leffen/status/1310011575617695744 Leffen currently boasts over 180K subscribers on YouTube and just under 300K followers on Twitch. Despite this social following, Leffen argues that the streaming grind is more difficult than most other jobs. This particular argument soon caught wind in the greater streaming community, garnering well over 2,500 responses in under 24 hours. “Feeling like complete s*** for working a heavy schedule on a physically demanding job for p*** pay is bad, but yeah, having to deal with WiFi lag is harder you’re right,” one user responded. This is also what happens when u lock urself to a few games. The burnout, the overanalyzing, the expectation that the audience won’t come if ur not doing that 1 thing etc. Diversify ur stream portfolio to feel engaged & maybe u won’t make odd comparisons like that again — GamesCage – Hype Guy (@GamesCage_) September 28, 2020 “Comparing retail work which is physically and mentally exhausting to streaming where you’re in the comfort of your home, interacting with a chat, gaming, and more, is a blessing,” another content creator added. Thousands typed up a storm in response to the now-viral tweet. Though nearly all were looking to shut down Leffen’s school of thought.

LEGO demands Police stop using Minifigure heads on criminal mugshots – Dexerto
LEGO demands Police stop using Minifigure heads on criminal mugshots Murrieta Police DepartmentThe LEGO Group has demanded the Murrieta Police Department stop using Minifigure heads on criminal mugshots. LEGO has requested the Murrieta Police Department to stop using their Minigifure heads on suspects’ faces on criminal mugshots after the local police force used it to highlight a new state law. “The LEGO Group reached out to me on March 19 and respectfully asked us to refrain from using their intellectual property in our social media content. Which of course, we understand and will comply with,” Lieutenant Jeremy Durant of the Murrieta Police Department said in a statement. The request from LEGO comes after the Murrieta PD tried to spread awareness of a new law that went into effect to protect the identities of suspects. The new law was implemented on January 1, 2024, and it prohibits law enforcement from sharing suspect photos for nonviolent crimes, unless specified circumstances exist. The Police Department thus made a series of posts with pictures of suspects with Minifigure heads, and other characters from films, PhotoShopped over their faces to highlight the change. Durrant told Deadline that LEGO’s response was that they “were flattered we were using their images, but asked us to respectfully refrain from using their intellectual property in our social media pages.” He continued, “They didn’t go demand that we take everything down. It was basically, ‘Hey, you guys had a good run. Go ahead and stop now.’ And we’re like, ‘Yep, not a problem.’”

Leaks suggest FaZe Clan and Clout Gang are leaving their L.A. mansions – Dexerto
Leaks suggest FaZe Clan and Clout Gang are leaving their L.A. mansions According to a leak from a recent video, FaZe Clan and the Clout Gang may be set to leave the Los Angeles mansions they currently live in ahead of a possible relocation. FaZe Clan is one of the most well-known organizations in esports, sporting top teams in multiple titles as well as being a content powerhouse that has dominated YouTube since its early days of Modern Warfare 2 sniping montages in 2010/2011. Since then, they have had top teams in Call of Duty, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive and Fortnite, and their prestigious LA homes have played host to some of the biggest names in esports. Now, though, it appears that FaZe Clan and the Clout Gang may be looking to move on from their neighboring Hollywood homes if footage obtained by Daniel ‘KEEMSTAR’ Keem is to be believed. The Drama Alert host obtained footage that he claims is from the landlords wo own the multi-million dollar properties, saying: “FaZe Clan gave me the notification that they want to move out of their lease early, so that’s really troublesome. “They’re paying $83,500-a-month for two houses. We’re going to try to sell the homes for $49.5 million for the four homes. The most famous houses in Hollywood,” he says, before reeling off a list of names that have lived there including rapper 21 Savage, Post Malone and, of course, FaZe Clan. Though we can’t yet verify the legitimacy of this leaked footage, Keem has a track record of being on the pulse and verifying his sources, especially due to his close relationship to FaZe Clan, so there is likely some truth to this. Where they could be relocating to is a completely different question though. It’s likely that they will want to have at least one house to have as a content hub, and it seems that LA has become such a huge part of the brand that it would be strange to see them anywhere else. That said, they previously lived in New York and have frequently visited the old house for nostalgic trips. Meanwhile, they’ve recently partnered with Atlanta Esports Ventures to keep the FaZe name in the Call of Duty League – so maybe Atlanta is a possible new home. While it hasn’t been confirmed by anybody within the FaZe Clan camp that they will be relocating, it’s very possible that they could be looking elsewhere, even if it’s just at other properties in the Los Angeles area. Current residents include the likes of Ricky ‘Banks’ Banks, Thomas ‘Temperrr’ Oliveira, Alex ‘Adapt’ Pinkevich and Jarvis ‘Jarvis’ Kaye. It’s hard to imagine FaZe Clan and Clout Gang without their mansions in the hills, but maybe a move away from the City of Angels is exactly what they need to grow even further.

“Leave Twitter” trends as Elon Musk offers to buy entire company – Dexerto
“Leave Twitter” trends as Elon Musk offers to buy entire company Twitter/Elon MuskElon Musk has reportedly offered to buy Twitter entirely for $43 billion, just one week after investing $3 billion into the social media platform. With his offer going public, the phrase “Leave Twitter” began to trend as users began debating about leaving the platform for good. Tesla founder Elon Musk made waves when he officially invested $3 billion into Twitter, instantly becoming the largest shareholder of the company. However, the richest man on Earth seemingly wasn’t satisfied with just his initial investment in the company. Despite not joining the board of directors of the company, he’s still fixated on Twitter. On April 14, Musk made a formal offer to buy Twitter outright for $54.20 per share, totaling an insane $43 billion. Elon Musk splits Twitter users with attempted takeover In Elon’s offer, he revealed his reasoning for submitting the offer after his first investment, “However, since making my investment I now realize the company will neither thrive nor serve this societal imperative in its current form. Twitter needs to be transformed as a private company.” Mere moments after Musk’s offer was made public, Twitter users got the phrase “Leave Twitter” trending on the site. Most tweets with the phrase were simply asking if users would actually leave in the event Elon did take over, as the massive business move sparked curiosity over the future of the platform. One user questioned if the potential takeover would even matter, “Literally nothing is going to change for the vast majority of Twitter users if/when Elon Musk takes over.” They went on to add, “And honestly I guarantee that most people threatening to leave now are still going to stay. I honestly don’t see what everybody’s worked up over.” Literally nothing is going to change for the vast majority of Twitter users if/when Elon Musk takes over. And honestly I guarantee that most people threatening to leave now are still going to stay. I honestly don’t see what everybody’s worked up over. — Oliver Jia (オリバー・ジア) (@OliverJia1014) April 14, 2022 Of course, there were some who voiced their outrage over the potential deal with one user saying: “Seriously, why does Elon want Twitter? Leave us the f**k alone, you goon!” Billionaires buying up social media platforms and news outlets isn’t a new thing, but Musk taking over Twitter for over $40 billion would certainly be unprecedented for that amount of cash.

Leaked texts reveal why Logan Paul’s boxing match with Slap Master is postponed – Dexerto
Leaked texts reveal why Logan Paul’s boxing match with Slap Master is postponed imPaulsive, YouTube / SlapforCash, InstagramControversial YouTuber Logan Paul is in hot water, after self-proclaimed “slap master” Slap for Cash accused him of faking his viral knockout video from late May – and even challenged him to a boxing match. While Paul slated their bout for the following Tuesday, it looks like the fight might not happen, after all, as the date came and went without much ado. However, details have since been released explaining the debacle, thanks to Slap for Cash leaking a few incriminating text messages from Paul’s friend and Maverick member Mike Majlak. Dear guy who i knocked out (part 1): pic.twitter.com/GcWEBoYdXd — Logan Paul (@LoganPaul) June 20, 2019 Slap for Cash uploaded screenshots of his conversation with Majlak to Instagram on June 25, where Majlak claimed that they would have to call off the fight, as Paul had an interview with Forbes scheduled for that day. The “slap master” wasn’t buying Majlak’s explanation, though, claiming that Paul was too “scared” to meet him in the ring. 500 “You’re scared,” he said in a video on the topic. “Logan Paul is scared. Give the fans what they want. Stop running.” He went on to tag Paul in several posts shortly thereafter, similarly accusing him of chickening out before their battle. While Logan Paul has yet to speak out on Slap for Cash’s latest claims, Majlak addressed the debacle in a Tweet that same day, claiming that their bout won’t happen “for months.” “The [Slap for Cash] fight won’t happen for months,” he wrote of the matter. “You’ll see what we’re working on tomorrow. It’s completely produced and completely groundbreaking. #priorities” the @slapfourcats fight won’t happen for months. You’ll see what we’re working on tomorrow. It’s completely produced and completely groundbreaking. #priorities — Mike Majlak (@mikemajlak) June 25, 2019 Although Paul claimed that Slap for Cash’s comments on their video “boiled his blood,” it looks like fans will have to wait for their upcoming showdown – although there’s no telling when their battle will actually occur. For now, Logan is set to face off against rival KSI for their boxing rematch, following their initial bout in August 2018. 600While their fight is scheduled for November 2019, no official date nor venue have yet been scheduled – leaving both fans and critics alike in the dark, with tensions growing between the two YouTube rivals in the process.

Leaked video reveals Tanner Fox & Ryland Storms’ heated argument before canceled boxing match – Dexerto
Leaked video reveals Tanner Fox & Ryland Storms’ heated argument before canceled boxing match Instagram: tannerfox/rylandstormsA leaked video has shown an intense argument backstage between Tanner Fox and Ryland Storms at the YouTubers vs TikTokers boxing event, following the cancellation of their fight against each other. Just the day prior to the Battle of the Platforms, it was announced that Tanner Fox vs. Ryland Storms would be called off. Ryland claimed that Tanner pulled out because he’s a “puss puss,” while Tanner said the commissioner of the fight wouldn’t let it go ahead due to the weight difference. Whatever the real reason is, neither fighter seem to be happy with what happened, and probably felt even worse on the night seeing all of their peers celebrating their victories. Now, while the fight might not have officially happened, it almost actually occurred backstage on the night of the event, new footage shows. FaZe Kay uploaded a video from the event, reacting to and ultimately celebrating his younger brother Jarvis’ huge victory over TikToker Michael Le, when he caught the tail end of a heated argument on camera. It’s not clear what exactly the two are saying to each other, but it’s clearly not a friendly chat, with Kay saying that Tanner and his opponent are “beefing” and adding that “a real fight just nearly broke out” right in front of him. Timestamp 0:26 As far as the real fights went, the YouTubers came out on top with a discernible victory. The only loss for the YouTube side of things came from Deji, who was outclassed by TikToker Vinnie Hacker. Whether Tanner and Ryland really did come to blows at the event isn’t clear, but based on this video we would assume not. No doubt, if another influencer boxing event goes ahead, this pair will have their eyes on each other to finally step foot in the ring.

Leaked divorce filings prevent xQc from discussing Adept split on Twitch – Dexerto
Leaked divorce filings prevent xQc from discussing Adept split on Twitch Instagram: adeptthebestA leaked divorce filing between Felix ‘xQc’ Lengeyl and former partner Samantha ‘Adept’ Lopez has confirmed the Twitch streamer is legally barred from discussing the matter online. The falling out of internet celebs xQc and Adept has been turbulent to say the least. While the two seemingly called off their relationship months ago, ongoing legal disputes have kept them both linked and, more often than not, in the public eye. Despite xQc claiming he and Adept never officially tied the knot, leaked documents seemingly dispute the point, all but confirming they were married between August 2020 and October 2022. A legal split was requested around that time and now, it appears certain conditions within said filing have now spilled out online. Not only does this leak highlight various demands from the parties involved, but it also seemingly confirms a number of restrictions now imposed on xQc, given his very public life as one of the biggest personalities on Twitch. Through a divorce document obtained and publicly examined by Henry Resilient on YouTube, we can clearly see Adept (Petitioner) and Lengyel (Respondent) had married back in 2020. The relationship formally reached its end in October 2022, with Adept then filing for a permanent injunction. In other words, a restraining order. “Respondent to be enjoined from taking any steps to stalk, harass, threaten, or otherwise intimidate Petitioner,” the document outlined. As a result, the obvious is in effect, with xQc unable to physically approach his former partner or contact her virtually. However, this restraining order also accounts for his presence online. By court order, xQc is unable to “discuss the litigation on any social network profile (including but not limited to, on his Twitch stream or YouTube account).” Not only that, but it also means he can’t direct his legion of followers to do his bidding and harass Adept without directly getting involved. Another detail revealed in the document showed Adept seeking full compensation for associated legal fees. The hiring of attorneys, trial costs, and the like, are all to be covered by xQc. Naturally, given the legal implications, xQc is clearly yet to address the authenticity of the leaked documents, and due to their nature, he’s unlikely to do so anytime soon.

Notably, some netizens have noticed that Elon Musk’s tweets have received higher visibility across the platform, with users who don’t follow Musk claiming his tweets frequently showed up on their timelines. Thanks to recently leaked documents, it seems Twitter may actually maintain a curated list of users who receive special treatment in the form of boosted engagement, including MrBeast, pro baller LeBron James, and President Joe Biden. Leaked Twitter documents reveal users with boosted engagement According to documents obtained by tech publication Platformer, Twitter has kept a list of about 35 users, ranging from high-profile athletes to influencers, whose accounts are monitored and given “increased visibility.” Managing Editor of Platform, Zoë Schiffer, said, “For months, Twitter has maintained a list of VIP users, including LeBron James, Glenn Greenwald, Ben Shapiro, AOC, and Marc Andreessen, that it monitors and gives increased visibility to on the platform.” Apparently, the list was originally created so that Twitter could keep track of how modifications to the algorithm would affect engagement and visibility for users with large followings. If Twitter engineers identify segments of the ranking system where tweets from these accounts are “dropping,” they can tweak the code to ensure the tweets are always shown. 2/ — Zoë Schiffer (@ZoeSchiffer) March 28, 2023 It seems the purpose of this list changed in December 2022, though, as Musk began to notice engagement on his tweets were steadily dropping. As such, Twitter’s engineers purportedly created ways to tweak the algorithm so that, in the case of noteworthy Twitter users receiving less engagement, they could make sure “that tweets from those accounts were always shown.” On top of these claims, Platformer said, “Twitter engineers say the chief executive repeatedly flags the complaints of high profile users over those of average ones, effectively forcing them to act as a highly-paid customer support team for Musk and his most favored users.” With Musk confirming that, starting on April 15, the For You Page will only show verified accounts, it seems Twitter users will see more and more of these high-profile users on their timeline in the future — whether they follow them or not.

League of Legends Streamers Tyler1 and Imaqtpie Face Off in Showmatch at NA LCS Playoffs – Highlights – Dexerto
League of Legends Streamers Tyler1 and Imaqtpie Face Off in Showmatch at NA LCS Playoffs – Highlights Two of the biggest names in LoL streaming faced off in front of a live crowd at the Oracle Arena during the NA LCS finals, as tyler1 and Imaqtpie went head to head in the showmatch. Of course, there was plenty of highlight moments, as the controversial Tyler1 – who has had a rocky relationship with Riot Games to say the least – was in attendance at one of their live events for the first time. Tyler1 has had numerous bans, both from Riot and Twitch, for toxicity, but since his return to streaming his behaviour has tamed somewhat, at least compared to his previous antics. Participation in the match was a major step from Tyler1 though, as he stepped onto the LCS stage for the first time. He was a last minute substitute, taking the place of caster Pastrytime. 500https://twitter.com/FionnOnFire/status/1038563936247795713 And he was his usual self on broadcast, never shy in front of the cameras and the thousands in attendance. The showmatch got off to a rocky start for Tyler1 though, as he appeared to accidentally leave the match – or maybe he really did rage quit immediately. After a close match though, it was the side of the ‘Meme Stream Dream Team’ led by imaqtpie that came out on top, and Tyler1 looked visibly dejected. After the match, the two captains took the stage for a post match interview, and Tyler1 was still his usual self – not impressed by qtpie’s gameplay and tactics. In the end though, Tyler1 put aside his differences and shook the hand of his rival, after deliberately avoiding a handshake immediately after the match. The win means that Tyler1 now has a 0% LCS win rate, something which fans and fellow streamers were happy to remind him of. Nathan Blau of Riot Games posted a special message for Tyler1 though, in spite of the relationship that the publisher has had with the streamer, they could not deny his passion for the game. 500https://twitter.com/RiotBlaustoise/status/1038623957774036992

Leaked Adept divorce filings prohibit xQc from gambling – Dexerto
Leaked Adept divorce filings prohibit xQc from gambling IcePoseidonThere’s a clause in Adept’s divorce filing with xQc that prevents him from buying anything that isn’t “reasonably necessary” to support his needs and prohibits him from gambling. The breakup between xQc and Adept has been a very public one, with various details about their personal life being revealed on-stream. Though he’s been barred from talking about their relationship according to leaked court documents surrounding the divorce, fans of the streamer are still hungry for information about the situation. A leaked divorce filing from Adept has revealed many details about the circumstances behind their divorce and the demands she made, one of which bars the streamer from gambling with his own money and prevents him from making purchases that aren’t “reasonably necessary” to support his needs, including things like jewelry and clothing. Adept divorce filing keeps xQc from gambling xQc has been known to gamble on-stream. Considering he’s one of the most viewed and highest-earning streamers on Twitch, he’s got the money to wager. In one of his most high-profile bets, xQc lost $650,000 dollars betting on the 2022 World Cup Finals. He isn’t a gambling streamer, per se, but it’s become a part of his broadcast identity. However, according to the leaked divorce filing from Adept, the streamer may have to drop gambling and wagers of any kind entirely through the duration of the court proceedings. Even if he has the money to wager $500,000 on a sports bet, he may be under threat of legal action if he were to do so. When it comes to things like buying virtual items like CS:GO cases and opening them on-stream, it’s hard to say whether or not these filings prevent him from that sort of activity. As of now, xQc has yet to discuss the legal document on stream. Although, according to the filing, he may be legally bound not to discuss the matter at all.

League of Legends streamer Trick2g smashes keyboard in insane rage – Dexerto
League of Legends streamer Trick2g smashes keyboard in insane rage Trick2g Twitch / UnsplashPopular League of Legends match. League of Legends can be one of the most frustrating games to play due to its popularity and how competitive ranked play is as a result of the massive player base. The solo-queue ranked system often leads players to getting frustrated in-game, as having good teammates is crucial to get the win, regardless how well you are playing individually. Trick2g learned this the hard way as his teammate “Cookie” made a play setting the streamer behind in the match, causing him to rage and smash his keyboard on his desk mid-game. The popular streamer initially thought his teammate was looking out for him by hiding in a brush nearby in case a fight broke out, “Cookie, I’m playing Nasus man!” Trick2g said, confident he would be alright alone, “Don’t worry about me.” However, Cookie seemed to have other ideas as he canceled his base recall just so he could steal the Cannon Minion, which is worth the most gold of any of the Minions, from Trick2g setting him back against his opponent and causing him to react in rage. Long day today driving to va beach from richmond and back and this happens! #Mentalboom pic.twitter.com/GmhAcByP2S — Timothy F. (@Trick2g) June 23, 2019 The streamer immediately smashed his keyboard on his desk after realizing what had happened, somehow shutting the webcam from his stream off in the process, as he could be heard breathing heavily while continuing to break it up further before tossing it aside once he appeared on stream again. It is clear that the game can be frustrating as many League of Legends streamers such as Tyler1 are often known for their reactions to plays in-game which cause them to rage on stream, even sometimes directing blame towards viewers. Trick2g had also claimed that he had a long day prior to this happening and this play by his teammate Cookie, which was probably done on purpose to provoke the streamer, seemingly pushed him over the edge.

League of Legends streamer Yassuo almost destroys PC after death rage – Dexerto
League of Legends streamer Yassuo almost destroys PC after death rage Popular League of Legends streamer Moe ‘Yassuo’ left fans wondering if he was going to need a whole new set-up after raging at an in-game death. Despite being one of the most competitive esports titles in the world and boasting a large fanbase, League of Legends doesn’t quite have the dedicated solo streamers with incredible followings like other games. Viewers can usually find streamers like Tyler ‘Tyler1‘ Steinkamp raging at an opponent or taking his fury out on other streamers, yet, it was the extreme levels of rage from his fellow streamer ‘Yassuo’ that caught the attention of on-lookers. During his July 29 stream, his first broadcast in two weeks, Yassuo had barely started up his first match of the night when he ran into an intense battle with a fellow midlaner. After trying to pull off a risky play, the streamer was slain and couldn’t believe what had happened – prompting him to take aim at his PC. He slammed the desk so hard that it disrupted his stream by taking the game out of the full-screen view and into a tiny window. “God! That was such a sick play,” he called out after standing up to toss his headphones. Only after returning to his computer did he realize the damage he had caused. The streamer added: “I’m so tilted. My whole computer is fucking broken and I can’t see a thing on my screen anymore.” Yassuo was left baffled that he couldn’t see anything on his main monitor despite a secondary monitor being frozen solely on his death. However, it didn’t take him long to figure out the issue. “I don’t know, one sec. Oh my God, is my monitor unplugged? Man.” After taking a few moments to tweak his set-up, including dropping his camera flat onto his desk, the streamer was able to get things sorted and jump back into his match – although he was still pretty frustrated at his death. While the incredible fit of rage may have given his viewers a highlight moment to laugh about for days to come, the streamer might just want to be careful in future – just so he doesn’t cause any permanent damage.

League of Legends star Nightblue3 banned for threatening to get other players banned – Dexerto
League of Legends star Nightblue3 banned for threatening to get other players banned Riot games / Nightblue3 TwitchPopular League of Legends, after using his influence to get another player suspended from the game. Nightblue3 is known for his highly informative streams on League of Legends and has competed at events such as the 2018 All-Stars in Las Vegas, however, at times he has found himself involved in a few controversies around the game. The Twitch streamer has now been suspended from League of Legends after he received massive community backlash for getting another player called “Nubrac” banned for two weeks by unfairly reporting him to a private Riot discord server for members of the League Partner Program. Nubrac later appealed his ban and following investigation by Riot Games, Nightblue3 was issued a two week suspension and posted a picture of the chat log which got him banned from the game, where he threatened Nubrac: “You want 2 week vacation bish? I’ll call my Riot friend.” Nubrac was using an unorthodox strategy which involved him leaving his lane to win the game, however, Nightblue3 viewed this as “intentionally griefing” and decided to report him instantly in a private Riot Games Discord server after threats to get him banned. Although Nightblue3 was issued 14 day ban from the game, Nubrac’s suspension still remains in place with Riot Games confirming to Nubrac that the ban was correctly placed despite the streamer’s method of reporting the infraction. Riot games also confirmed in their response that a 14 day ban is one of the last steps in the penalty escalation and that further instances of “intentional feeding” could lead to a permanent suspension for Nubrac. Many feel that Nightblue3’s ban was also justified, despite the fact that he is one of the most popular streamers on the game, as he was using his influence to get other players banned from the game.

LoL streamer TFBlade banned on Twitch after “unfortunate” event – Dexerto
LoL streamer TFBlade banned on Twitch after “unfortunate” event Instagram: TFBladeLoLPopular Twitch streamer Ashkan ‘TF Blade’ Homayouni has been banned from the platform on September 12, his second suspension of 2019. TFBlade’s first ban in April caused significant controversy, after it became apparent that he had been misheard saying a racial slur, when in fact he had called his teammates “idiots”. His ban was originally 30 days, as is standard for ‘hate speech’ violations, but was later reduced to a week. However, TFBlade appears to have breached the Community Guidelines again. Confirming the ban, Blade said he would “be back soon”, and that an “unfortunate set of events happened.” I will be travelling back to Canada and will probably finish EUNE and Turkey later on, unfortunate set of events happened. — TF Blade (@tfblade) September 12, 2019 Early on September 12, TFBlade’s channel was removed from the platform. At the time of writing, the exact cause for the ban is unknown. The Team Liquid member is an outspoken streamer, who recently hit out at League of Legends developers Riot Games after they banned his account for 14 days “with no warning”. The cause of this 14-day account suspension was for apparently being toxic to his teammates, who he believed were throwing a match. TFBlade is a member of Team Liquid, best known for League of Legends. “Look! 14 days no warnings, only two games, not three. Are you f*cking r*******?” Blade asked angrily, “You want me to not be toxic when they are running it down in my games. What are you doing about it, I reported them, I sent tickets, you didn’t do sh*t.” After checking chat logs, Blade had apparently been banned from LoL for allegedly insulting fellow players as well as the Turkish region as a whole, although he defended himself, arguing “everybody does that, they don’t get banned”. TFBlade just got done serving a 14-day suspension from League of Legends. It’s not immediately clear if this incident is related to his Twitch ban on September 12, although it is a possibility. Given that it is almost ten days after this, though, it’s also possible that a more recent on-stream incident has caused this fresh suspension. He is one of the most popular LoL streamers, rising to fame after dominating the North American LoL in-game rankings, later attempting to reaching the highest rank on all of the servers in the game. We will update this story as more information becomes available about the ban. Dexerto have reached out to TFBlade for comment. UPDATE: TFBlade has since posted a Tweet revealing the reason for his Twitch ban, where he confirmed that his suspension was due to “toxic” language. “I got banned on Twitch because I legitimately had no idea that calling people or the region in the game ‘dog’ and ‘unintelligent’ out of just frustration, with no intentions of hurting anyone really, is something you can get banned for,” he wrote. The streamer went on to apologize to the players he’d “hurt” and claimed that he will “give it my very best to make sure this will not happen again” – although the jury is still out regarding the length of his suspension.

LeafyIsHere teases YouTube return after channel ban – Dexerto
LeafyIsHere teases YouTube return after channel ban LeafyIsHereControversial YouTuber LeafyIsHere is teasing his return to YouTube over a year after his account was banned from the platform. Calvin ‘Leafyishere’ Lee Vai was once considered to be one of the top commentary channels on YouTube. After he returned from a long hiatus, Leafy was banned from the platform on August 21, 2020, after he created a series of videos allegedly harassing other content creators, notably Pokimane and Keemstar. Shortly after, his channel was also removed from Twitch after several attempts to bait the website into banning him. Now the controversial YouTuber is teasing his return to the platform after posting cryptic tweets on his newly reactivated Twitter account. LeafyIsHere teases return to YouTube On December 14, Lee Vai posted his first tweet since his account was suspended on Twitter in May of 2017. It reads: “Holy s**t, account reinstated lol.” His tweet amassed over 26k likes rather quickly, which made it clear that his fanbase was still there. https://twitter.com/LeafyIsHere/status/1470967184470028295?s=20 Shortly after his return, he posted a video talking about possibly creating a new YouTube account although hundreds of other people have made accounts with the same name. It reads: “Sometimes I miss YouTube. I considered making a new channel but clearly, others have had the same idea.” Leafy also tweeted “podcast soon” hinting at a new format instead of returning to his normal content. https://twitter.com/LeafyIsHere/status/1471794764018241542?s=20 While he may have his Twitter account back, it’s unclear what platform Calvin would be able to post content on. He’s been banned from Twitch and YouTube, and both platforms would have an extremely close eye on the creator if he were to create a new account. Just before Leafy’s ban from YouTube, Hasan took aim at the creator for having it “too easy” and called him out for attacking other creators. It’s unclear what the controversial YouTuber has planned, so we’ll have to wait to see what he decides in the coming days.

LeafyIsHere returns to YouTube to address past Pokimane drama: “Wasn’t even that toxic” – Dexerto
LeafyIsHere returns to YouTube to address past Pokimane drama: “Wasn’t even that toxic” YouTuber: LeafyIsHere / PokimaneLeafyIsHere defended his criticism of Twitch star Pokimane in his return to YouTube. The 26-year-old claims his videos about the OfflineTV streamer shouldn’t have gotten him banned in 2020. In August 2020, Calvin ‘LeafyIsHere‘ Vail found his YouTube channel permanently banned off the platform after making a series of videos heavily criticizing Twitch star Imane ‘Pokimane’ Anys. Over a year after the indefinite suspension, the content creator made his return to YouTube on January 7, 2022, with a new podcast. Leafy used the first episode to defend his drama with the OfflineTV streamer. Leafy says he shouldn’t have been banned for Pokimane drama In his first video back on YouTube since his ban in 2020, LeafyIsHere launched his new ‘LeafyCast‘ podcast series. During the upload, the content creator addressed being banned on YouTube and argued that his series on Pokimane wasn’t that bad. “I then turned my attention towards Pokimane. YEAH, GREAT STREAMER. I offered her words of encouragement in 2020. And people seemed to love my words of encouragement. So how did I even get banned for this? It wasn’t even that toxic. Are you serious? They really made it out like I was going around insulting people as hard as I possibly could. This is so f**king whack,” the YouTuber exclaimed. Even though the drama with the Twitch star led to his channel being removed, Leafy revealed that he had no regrets making videos about the streamer. “Even though this all blew up in my face, it was totally worth it. Getting banned is not fun at all. It starts to get under your skin, especially when it’s bulls**t,” he said. LeafyIsHere also opened up about getting banned on Twitch and Twitter as well following his removal from YouTube. Despite everything, the content creator claims that his video series on Pokimane was a “high point” of his career. “It’s another thing when your account gets sniped and you are on a high note. When viewers love your content and you just get cooled. It’s just like extra disgusting,” he said. At the time of writing, his main account is still banned.

LeafyIsHere hits back at “disgusting” H3H3 following iDubbbz drama – Dexerto
LeafyIsHere hits back at “disgusting” H3H3 following iDubbbz drama YouTube: LeafyIsHere / H3 PodcastFresh off his return from hiatus to roast Ian ‘iDubbbz’ Carter, YouTuber LeafyIsHere uploaded a new video on April 12 calling out H3H3’s Ethan Klein for being “angry” after the podcast host had been critical of him. After years of being absent from the platform, LeafyIsHere made his surprising return to YouTube on April 4 to roast iDubbbz over the swirling “simp” drama surrounding him and his girlfriend Anisa Jomha. However the reaction channel personality didn’t stop there, as he took shots at H3H3’s Ethan Klein on April 12 after the podcast host had recently been critical of his work, calling it “low effort.” LeafyIsHere hits back at H3H3’s Ethan Klein The YouTuber responded by uploading a video with clips from the April 3 episode of the H3 podcast, and paused on Ethan’s rant about viewers calling iDubbbz a simp. “This dude just seems like he has a lot of anger in his heart right now. Like, this guy might be a little bit angry,” he said. He then showed a segment where H3H3 was critical of his return. “Leafy came on and just said “you’re a f**king c*ck, dude,” and that was it, and people loved it! Well Leafy, you are putting about as much effort into your content as you ever did,” Ethan said. Responding, Leafy ended the upload by harshly taking shots at Klein, exclaiming, “You are a fat f**king disgusting piece of s**t” before cutting to a picture of North Korea’s leader. (Timestamp 00:27 for mobile users.) This isn’t the first time H3H3 and LeafyIsHere have clashed. In March 2016, Ethan uploaded a now-deleted video essay criticizing him for supposedly making toxic reaction content. The personality was also the subject of iDubbbz’ wildly popular ‘Content Cop’ series in that same month, although due to YouTube’s change in policies, the video was removed from the platform in 2019. While Klein was critical of Leafy’s response, he also wasn’t sure how serious the upload was. “I don’t know how serious Leafy was being. Because everyone was egging him on. So to give Leafy the benefit of the doubt, he was probably just playing into the gag,” he said. (Timestamp 01:08 for mobile users.) Leafy has taken a break from making content since 2017, stating in interviews that it was partly a result of the Google-owned company’s change in rules which have put restrictions on the type of content that can be hosted on the site. Regardless if you agree or disagree, the short videos have been pulling in millions of views. At the time of writing, H3’s Ethan Klein has yet to respond, but if the past is any indication, it’s likely he will have something to say sooner rather than later.

LeafyIsHere joins Andrew Tate & more on Rumble just days after Twitter unban LeafyIsHereContent creator LeafyIsHere announced that he will start streaming on Rumble, becoming the latest big name to join the alternative video publishing platform. It comes after the controversial content creator, who made his name in the YouTube reaction scene, was unbanned on Twitter after a year-long suspension. LeafyIsHere was banned from YouTube in 2020 after uploading a series of videos criticizing Pokimane, and also had his Twitch account permanently suspended, for “causing risk to the community”. After his return to Twitter, which he attributed to Elon Musk’s habit of unbanning previously suspended accounts LeafyIsHere announces move to Rumble Just a couple of days after being unblocked, Leafy posted a link to his Rumble account, promising to “cook some videos.” The official Rumble Twitter account was excited at the prospect of getting new talent on the site, saying: “You are getting verified now. Leafy is BACK!” While Leafy hasn’t made any uploads to the site yet, fans were excited at the prospect of his new focus on video-making. One commenter said: “Just downloaded the app and made my account, I look forward to Leafy’s return!” Another complimented Rumble’s policy, saying: “Bless your hearts for having a free speech unfiltered platform. You’re doing what YouTube is failing at.” It’s unclear if Leafy will return to the reaction and commentary content that made him so popular, or if he’ll branch out into different kinds of videos. This makes Leafy the latest established creator to join Rumble, which presents itself as a free-speech alternative to YouTube. Other big names on Rumble include Andrew Tate and Sneako, both of whom upload regularly after they were banned from YouTube.

LeafyIsHere explains what drove him to quit YouTube – Dexerto
LeafyIsHere explains what drove him to quit YouTube Controversial YouTuber LeafyIsHere returned from a nearly 10-month hiatus to speak with Drama Alert host KEEMSTAR, where he explained what had caused him to leave the platform indefinitely. Leafy explained that making daily videos had “burnt him out,” and that YouTube’s changes toward monetization, censorship, and copyright had incited his break back in December of 2017. “YouTube itself was just becoming worse and worse over time,” Leafy answered. “The monetization yellow things were frustrating to deal with. There were so many changes… the entire platform was turning.” He also cited YouTube’s trending page as an issue that bothered him, citing BuzzFeed and other trending channels as “shit” that turned him away from the platform. “It wasn’t one big thing that just happened,” he continued. “It was slow… more and more things to just add on top of it, and eventually, it was just the [straw] that broke the camel’s back.” Leafy admitted that he thought about returning to YouTube now and again but ultimately held that he wouldn’t be able to voice his opinion as he used to on his channel. LeafyIsHere was at the center of multiple controversies before his hiatus, catching flack for his videos criticizing creators like autistic YouTuber TommyNC2010, and eventually KEEMSTAR himself. This led to a slew of allegations from YouTubers like iDubbbz and Nick Cash. He admitted that his hit piece on KEEMSTAR had been for the “adsense,” which KEEMSTAR seemed to take in good spirits. Leafy is now investing in stocks and bonds, and even teased that he might make a return to YouTube in the future.

LeafyIsHere hits back at critics celebrating his YouTube departure – Dexerto
LeafyIsHere hits back at critics celebrating his YouTube departure LeafyIsHereDuring his May 15 upload, Calvin ‘LeafyIsHere’ Vail roasted critics who celebrated his absence from the platform since 2017. The YouTuber mocked them as “Walmart quality Content Cops.” In 2014, reaction channels began to take YouTube by storm. Leafy was one of the most popular channels in the genre, as his brutal commentary mocking subjects became a hit. However in 2017, the personality disappeared from making uploads. However, the star made his triumphant return in March to take down Ian ‘iDubbbz’ Carter, after the Content Cop creator became embroiled in “simp” drama involving his girlfriend. Now, he’s hitting out at his peers who celebrated his absence. Leafy mocks critics who celebrated his absence In the YouTuber’s latest upload, he featured a compilation of clips of his peers making commentary videos about him. Creators such as ImAllexx and H3H3 are shown celebrating his departure from the platform in the past. The reaction channel personality responded to the criticism, arguing, “Got to love people like this, that make it out like there’s some sort of tier list of intellectual humor on YouTube. Every time they list the same s**t!” Leafy then argued that these critics always judge people based on perceived effort. “It always boils down to this video just doesn’t have enough effort put into it. If you want higher quality, go turn on your f**king TV.” He then argued that some viewers come to YouTube to relax. “Seriously, it’s YouTube. This movie critic bulls**t is SO LAME on many levels. People are here to relax and have fun.” He then called the criticism “overzealous bulls**t”. (Timestamp 01:01 for mobile users.) The popular content creator explained in the past that he left the platform due to Google’s increasingly strict policies – which demonetized reaction channels and edgy content. This isn’t the first time the YouTuber has jabbed back at a critic. On April 12, he responded to H3H3’s comments about him on their podcast. The personality hit out at Ethan Klein, exclaiming, “You are a fat f**king disgusting piece of s**t.” Read More: Top 20 most liked YouTube Videos – Leafy’s latest video featured critics asking whether anyone would really care if he returned. Leafy returns to YouTube after years to fire back at iDubbbz content cop – Dexerto
Leafy returns to YouTube after years to fire back at iDubbbz content cop YouTube: iDubbbzOnce the fastest-growing YouTube channel on the platform, controversial creator ‘LeafyIsHere’ has returned after a long hiatus, and just in time to fire back at his old foe, iDubbbz. Anyone who was around YouTube in 2017 will likely remember the rise of Leafy, an understated commentary channel that somehow gained millions of subscribers rapidly, at an almost unprecedented rate. However, after numerous controversies, mainly around drama with other YouTubers, and a ‘Content Cop’ episode from iDubbbz himself all about Leafy, the reclusive star pretty much left the platform for good. However, after iDubbbz found himself at the center of a social media storm, with fans calling him a “simp” due to his relationship with his girlfriend, Leafy has made a conspicuous return to YouTube. His first video back was barely over 30 seconds long, showing iDubbbz’ response video before Leafy cuts in by saying “dude you’re a f**king cu*k,” and leaving the message “YouTube is still sh*t” on the screen. This video racked up over 3 million views in a matter of days. Then, on April 4, he posted a second video, with a longer compilation of iDubbbz and his girlfriend, before ending with a short message that reads “2 weeks until it was ‘social experiment’ and/or she breaks up with him.” iDubbbz is yet to respond to Leafy, though it wouldn’t be surprising to see him fire back again in another video, possibly taking credit for pushing his rival off YouTube the first time. Even PewDiePie weighed in on the drama surrounding iDubbbz and his girlfriend, as social media was in a frenzy over the whole situation. Meanwhile, despite his brief return to YouTube to roast his old nemesis, it’s still not likely that Leafy is making a full-on comeback to content creation, not least because of his message at the end of his first return video. Despite such a long time away from the platform though, his video was still featured on YouTube’s trending page, reaching over a million views in under 24 hours.

H3H3’s Ethan Klein calls out Leafy over “jokes” about shooting someone – Dexerto
H3H3’s Ethan Klein calls out Leafy over “jokes” about shooting someone YouTube: LeafyIsHere / H3H3 ProductionsNow former-YouTuber LeafyIsHere has caused a stir in an interview with KEEMSTAR, where he joked that he took illegally concealed guns to protests, and is just looking for “someone to give me an excuse to shoot them.” Prior to his account’s termination, Leafy had acquired almost 5 million subscribers, known for his commentary and drama videos. In 2017 he disappeared off the platform, returning in 2020 to make videos about H3H3, KEEMSTAR, and other large creators. He eventually moved onto creating content about creators on other platforms, including the hugely popular Twitch streamer Pokimane, videos in which he mocked her appearance and claimed she had a secret relationship. This led to YouTube permanently banning him from the site, saying that his repeated violation of strict policies that prohibit harassment led to the termination. But this hasn’t stopped Leafy from causing uproar elsewhere. Leafy discusses the protests In a video uploaded to content creation platform StoryFire on August 25, KEEMSTAR called Leafy and asked him “how did you get enough balls to go to the protest?” referring to unspecified protests Leafy’s area recently. “I’m not that frail. And on top of that, dude, I f**king own guns and sh*t,” he answered. “I literally went there with a f**king gun in a holster. I don’t know if I can say this out loud, but I don’t have a concealed weapons permit. But I don’t really give a sh*t.” A clip from the video was shared by H3H3’s Ethan Klein on Twitter, where it quickly went viral. https://twitter.com/h3h3productions/status/1298816352782704640 KEEMSTAR was wide-eyed as Leafy continued. “I have a gun, I have a holster, I’m from f**king Utah, my family has guns, right.” “That was crazy, that night, I really thought something bad was gonna happen to you,” KEEMSTAR responded, talking about the videos of “helicopters” Leafy had apparently uploaded the night of the protest. Leafy said in return,“I mean, in truth… I don’t know if this can even go on StoryFire but, I just want one day in my life for someone to give me an excuse to shoot them. Is that an extreme opinion?” As KEEMSTAR laughs in disbelief, Leafy says “that was a joke bro, kind of.” Leafy has since been called out on Twitter by Ethan Klein of H3H3 productions, who brought the video to public attention and called the comments “truly disturbing,” adding critique of KEEMSTAR for “casually eating wings and laughing along.” The craziest part is that keemstar manually uploaded this to his storyfire channel — Ethan Klein (@h3h3productions) August 27, 2020 While the extent of the truth is unverifiable, Leafy may end up in hot water with authorities after suggesting that he had broken the law, and may even find himself struggling to remain on a new platform in the wake of YouTube’s ban on him.

Leafy banned from YouTube after series of Pokimane videos – Dexerto
Leafy banned from YouTube after series of Pokimane videos Pokimane / LeafyishereYouTuber Calvin ‘Leafyishere’ Lee Vai has had his account permanently terminated by the platform, after his return from a long hiatus, where he began making a series of videos about other content creators, primarily streamer Imane ‘Pokimane’ Anys. Update on August 24 at 12:09 PM A YouTube spokesperson confirmed that Leafy’s ban was intentional and will be permanent, clarifying the company’s stance on the type of content featured on his channel, per The Verge. “We have strict policies that prohibit harassment on YouTube, and we remove content that violates our policies when flagged to our attention. Channels that repeatedly violate our policies will be terminated,” they said. Original story follows below. Having experienced one of the fastest rises to YouTube fame a few years ago, Leafy randomly left the platform, and ceased making videos for almost two years. He returned in 2020, first making drama oriented videos about other popular channels including iDubbz, H3H3, and KEEMSTAR. However, in July, his attention to turned to Twitch streamer Pokimane, starting with his ‘content nuke’ video, and subsequent follow-up videos. In them, he criticized and mocked not only her content, but also her appearance and claimed to ‘expose’ her for having a secret relationship. These videos quickly went viral, causing a stir in the community. Pokimane actually took a break from streaming in the wake of the videos, before releasing an apology video that addressed some of the incidents raised by Leafy. Leafy’s YouTube channel terminated On August 21, Leafy’s YouTube account was terminated for “multiple or severe violations of YouTube’s policy prohibiting content designed to harass, bully or threaten.” The reason for his ban clearly alludes to the series of videos about Pokimane, but also other creators. However, while some welcomed the ban, YouTuber Scarce has advised caution, as YouTube’s action against Leafy could be indicative of further action against other creators, perhaps less controversial. https://twitter.com/JohnScarce/status/1296976558066892800 Leafy addresses YouTube ban Leafy posted on Twitter about his account’s termination on August 22, asking the platform for clarification of the reason. Tagging YouTube’s CEO, Susan Wojcicki, he asked “is there anything I could do to get it reinstated. Or is there any statement on this you could give.” https://twitter.com/Leafy/status/1297122824902127616 He says that he did not receive any strikes on his channel at all, just a suspension with no warning. https://twitter.com/Leafy/status/1297392708978343937 Pokimane says she had nothing do with it As news of Leafy’s ban spread on social media, Pokimane herself chose to make very clear that she had no part to play in the termination. She said, “I don’t want my silence to leave room for assumptions.” i know i’m going to get asked this, so i’d like to clarify i had nothing to do with leafy’s ban. — pokimane (@pokimanelol) August 22, 2020 It’s possible that Leafy could simply create a new channel and continue his content there, but he loses millions of subscribers, and YouTube will surely have a keen eye on him going forward.

‘Lazy girl job’ TikTok trend has Gen Z divided on work-life balance – Dexerto
‘Lazy girl job’ TikTok trend has Gen Z divided on work-life balance TikTokWomen on TikTok have found a new trend as they share their experiences of working in a less demanding job that is well paid, but it has sparked a debate. Work-life balance is more than just a catchphrase as individuals struggle to achieve this while accomplishing their goals. However, Gen Z is striving to find ways to make life easier and have a ‘healthier’ work-life balance. Some TikTok users love the latest trend on the platform of “Lazy Girl Jobs” and have been sharing their experiences of doing it and being paid well. The movement has taken over the app as some argue that this is an effective way to strike a balance. ‘Lazy girl jobs’ are essentially low-stress jobs that don’t require much effort, but still offer a proper salary. When did ‘lazy girl jobs’ start trending? TikToker Gabrielle Judge is often credited with starting the trend, after she shared a video to give career advice, explaining how someone could get good pay at jobs without working much. “I’m a big fan of ‘lazy girl jobs’. There’s a lot of jobs out there where you could make $60,000 to $80,000, so pretty comfortable salaries, and not do that much work,” Judge said. Judge explained that she added the word ‘lazy’ because these job offers “should feel like as if you are almost operating at a lazy state when compared to the American Hustle culture”. Other users are now going viral for sharing their own “lazy jobs”. One said she makes a “bomb salary” at her lazy girl job. “I get paid a bomb salary to talk to no one, take breaks whenever I want, and be an office baddie,” she wrote. A TikToker revealed that her job had her sitting at a desk from 9 to 4, sending invoices in her own time as she enjoys Netflix and TikTok while getting decent pay. Another shared that she earns a good salary while she “copy and pastes” at her job and takes five calls a day. For more on trends check out our full TikTok coverage here.
