Fouseytube reveals nose job results after boxing match with Slim Yousef Erakat, InstagramYouTuber Yousef “Fouseytube” Erakat has finally revealed the results of his nose job, which he underwent due to the bloody aftermath of his charity boxing match against fellow YouTuber “Slim.” Coming off of a tumultuous 2019, Fouseytube returned to the YouTube game better than ever, taking his fitness into consideration by jumping into the sport of boxing. To kick off his comeback, the YouTube star orchestrated a charity boxing match against his rival “Slim,” which featured an undercard full of other content creators, much like the original KSI vs Logan Paul fight in August 2018. However, things didn’t go so smoothly for Fousey in his first-ever fight, with Slim ultimately breaking Erakat’s nose and taking the victory in a bout that many considered to be one-sided by TKO. While Fouseytube accepted his loss with grace and even congratulated the winner, his nose had taken a major beating, as shown by his Instagram post after the match went viral online. https://www.instagram.com/p/B3Afa2HHmSk/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link After announcing plans to fix his nose via rhinoplasty, the YouTuber has finally undergone the surgery, revealing the results to social media on January 15. “Pictures taken while on the operating table,” he captioned the photos. “Obviously extremely swollen, but I think you get the idea!” https://twitter.com/fousey/status/1217535367793922048?s=20 The pics show that surgeons removed a considerably large bump on the bridge of Fousey’s nose, resulting in a smooth, uninterrupted bone in the recovery photo. Despite the operation’s success, the YouTuber hasn’t been given clearance by his doctor to stream or talk at length until Sunday, giving him a mandatory five-day rest period to fully recover from the surgery. https://twitter.com/fousey/status/1217283043901071360?s=20 Although Fousey appeared to take his boxing loss in stride, Fousey later revealed that he felt he had “no purpose” in wake of the event, admitting that depression “hit him hard,” as his family had also moved away. Now, it seems that he is back on his feet — and is even boasting a whole new look, having finally recouped from his loss against Slim and a personal struggle with mental health.

Fouseytube sparks concern after admitting he “feels like a failure” – Dexerto
Fouseytube sparks concern after admitting he “feels like a failure” Fouseytube, YouTubeYouTube star Yousef “Fouseytube” Erakat is sparking concern across social media after posting a few emotional captions to Instagram on January 23. Fouseytube notably returned to YouTube in late 2019, following the aftermath of his disastrous July 15 event that ended in a purported bomb threat. While he later threw himself into the sport of boxing, his loss against fellow content creator Slim hit him hard in more ways than one, with Erakat admitting he felt he “had no purpose” and was “alone” due to his family’s move. After debuting his rhinoplasty in mid-January, it seemed like the YouTuber was fully recovered from his post-match blues; but this may not be the case, as his forthcoming social media posts are once again causing fans concern over his mental health. In an Instagram caption uploaded on January 24, Erakat once again showcased his recovering nose, admitting to struggling with unhappiness and claiming that his feelings stem from a lack of productivity in wake of his operation. “I feel like a failure,” the YouTuber wrote. “A loser. And I am so, so, so hard on myself. I’m not really doing anything with my life, and the feeling of not doing anything productive kills.” That’s not all: the internet star even admitted that he hopes to branch out into acting, a desire similar to that of Logan Paul, who also revealed plans to break into other careers down the line. https://www.instagram.com/p/B7rb2ernQd8/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link “I know what I want to do,” he continued. “I want to act. My mind is trying to talk me out of posting this as I type it, but it’s my truth right now, as bad as the energy is. I want to work. I want to be busy. But my life is not that at the moment.” Fousey also uploaded two separate photos to his Instagram story, where he claimed he wanted someone to “hang out with” and that he’d been “crying all day.” While this isn’t the first time Fousey has expressed such feelings, his audience continues to send him support and advice, and the creator later stated that his emotional posts could be the result of post-surgical depression.

Fouseytube pleads with Twitch after three-day ban amid 24/7 subathon – Dexerto
Fouseytube pleads with Twitch after three-day ban amid 24/7 subathon YouTube: FouseytubeYouTuber Fouseytube is pleading with Twitch after the live streaming platform handed him a three-day ban in the midst of his 24/7 subathon. Fouseytube is a prominent influencer who is best known for his YouTube content. Fousey is hailed as one of the site’s OG creators, having started his channel back in 2011 where he uploads vlogs, skits, and prank videos. However, he’s also got a budding presence on Twitch, where he boasts over 170k followers. He’s been trying to grow his following on the site with a subathon, where, up until now, he’d been streaming for 21 days straight, 24 hours a day. However, Fousey recently revealed he was hit with a ban from Twitch that will last three days. Although he hasn’t divulged a reason for this sudden suspension, his channel currently boasts a message that reads: “This channel is temporarily unavailable due to a violation of Twitch’s Community Guidelines or Terms of Service.” Fouseytube “gutted” after Twitch hits YouTuber with three-day ban Fousey pleaded with Twitch to reverse their decision in a tweet sharing a screenshot of his ban notice, reminding the platform that he was in the middle of a subathon and that such a suspension could severely harm his channel’s momentum. “Dear @Twitch @TwitchSupport …I’m doing a 24/7 subathon. I’ve been live for 21 days. I have 22,000 subscribers. I’m flying to Nashville for all access footage to Misfits 008. A three-day suspension will literally end me. What can I do? PLEASE help me. I am BEGGING.” “I am absolutely gutted,” he wrote in another post. “But I’m keeping my spirits high and my attitude bright. Everything happens for a reason. I pray @Twitch @TwitchSupport sees my appeal and gives me a second chance.” Thus far, it’s still unclear what caused Fousey’s ban — but several commenters are pointing the YouTuber-turned-Twitch streamer toward Kick, a rival streaming platform that has been scooping up a plethora of high-profile creators over the past few months. This is just the latest drama to befall Fouseytube after the YouTuber got into beef with TikTok star Bryce Hall the day prior after he made mention of a physical altercation they got into nearly two years ago.

Fouseytube reacts to being mistaken for cyber criminal by police – Dexerto
Fouseytube reacts to being mistaken for cyber criminal by police YouTube: FouseytubeYouTube star Yousef “FouseyTube” Erakat was mistaken for a cyber criminal by law enforcement in Abilene, Texas – but he doesn’t seem to be bothered by the mix-up. According to reports from “bigcountryhomepage,” Abilene police have identified twenty men believed to be involved in online sex trafficking, after discovering posts advertising Asian women in the region across the dark net. Abilene law enforcement posted a series of selfies of their potential suspects for the case – one of whom looked quite familiar to internet regulars. The selfie of YouTuber Fouseytube was found among the lineup of photos used in Abilene police’s Facebook post on the subject, which were reportedly “a requirement for the [suspects] to receive services from” a victim trafficked to the Texas area for the online operation. While it’s obvious that Fousey himself was not involved in the scandal, this means that one of the suspects simply pulled the celebrity’s selfie for use in the sex trafficking ring in order to maintain their anonymity – not a galaxy-brain strategy, in the slightest (unless they possess an uncanny resemblance to the celeb). In spite of the potentially morbid consequences of the situation, Fouseytube managed to get a good laugh out of the scenario, revealing that his family had even contacted him out of fear that he’d gotten in trouble with the law. “SMH,” Arakat wrote in an Instagram post about the debacle. “They got my family hitting me up, asking me why I’m going to jail.” Fouseytube’s “run-in” with the debacle follows his recent return to social media, with the star creating a new series similar to MTV’s famous “Cribs” that explores the expansive homes of YouTube’s top creators. The YouTuber has likewise delved into the world of boxing, touching gloves with fellow star “Slim” in wake of the KSI vs Logan Paul beef in 2018 for a charity match. Having turned a new leaf following his disastrous “July 15” event last year, Fouseytube marks one of the net’s top entertainers – but apparently, one criminal thought they could get away with using his identity in spite of his fame.

Fouseytube explains why he has “no purpose” after boxing loss – Dexerto
Fouseytube explains why he has “no purpose” after boxing loss Fousey, InstagramYouTube star Yousef “Fouseytube” Arakat ended his social media hiatus with a debut in the boxing ring, facing off against fellow YouTuber “Slim” on September 29. His subsequent loss is apparently affecting more than his fight record. Fouseytube suffered a debilitating defeat in the boxing ring against Slim, walking away with a broken nose that ultimately required surgery. Although their fight purse went to charity, Fouseytube is taking his loss hard, as evidenced by his social media posts after the bout. However, a now-deleted Instagram story from the YouTube star is sparking concern across the net, with Fousey admitting that he is suffering from depression in wake of the fight and feeling like he has “no purpose.” “With the boxing event, I had purpose,” Fousey explained. “Something to work towards every day. Something to look forward to. Something to live for. Now that it’s over, depression hit HARD.” 500https://www.instagram.com/p/B3tzl1xgOo9/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link Arakat went on to explain that, with his friends moving away and his family leaving, he feels “alone” and “sad,” claiming that he needed to openly express his current feelings to his audience. This wouldn’t be the first time Fousey’s mental health has been center stage, though: the star infamously sparked concern in summer 2018, after his “July 15” event was canceled in wake of a supposed bomb threat, with the YouTuber hopping on top of the roof of a car to make an impassioned speech to his fans. (Timestamp: 1:04 for mobile viewers) Arakat opened up about the debacle on an episode of Logan Paul’s “imPaulsive” podcast in February 2019, where he explained that he’d stopped taking mood stabilizers before the event and had instead opted for Adderall. Calling the incident a “trainwreck” and an “explosion,” Fousey claimed that he hadn’t been able to move past the “July 15” failure – nor the backlash surrounding the incident. Arakat took a hiatus from social media in wake of the debacle, returning in 2019 with a new purpose in boxing. Although his first bout didn’t end in his favor, it doesn’t look like the star is slowing down anytime soon – and is even embracing his defeat with a full-length documentary.

FouseyTube gets destroyed and breaks nose in charity boxing match – Dexerto
FouseyTube gets destroyed and breaks nose in charity boxing match YouTube: FouseyTubePopular YouTuber FouseyTube needed his corner to step-in and call off the fight, during a charity boxing match in London against fellow content creator Slim. The sport of boxing has been around for hundreds of years but it’s only become a phenomenon between Youtubers in recent times. British pair KSI and Joe Weller made history when they headlined the first show, before KSI parlayed that fight into a match-up with Logan Paul. With the two set for their long-awaited rematch on November 9, YouTubers from across the globe have been trying to get in on the act but to no avail. One content creator who looks pretty unlikely to get on the card now is FouseyTube, after he suffered a pretty devastating loss inside the ring. FouseyTube is an extremely popular YouTuber prankster.600 On September 29, Fousey took on fellow YouTuber Slim at a charity event after weeks of trash talk on the video platform. The fight was streamed live on YouTube, but it didn’t exactly go to plan for Fousey. Early in the opening round, he threw some wild punches looking for a knock-out blow pretty early on but Slim found his footing by throwing out some jabs and using movement to his advantage. Unlike a fight between professional fighters, where there is usually a feeling-out period in the early goings, Fousey kept his foot on the gas pedal and tried to score the victory. Yet, all he appeared to do was tire himself out. The YouTuber was subjected to a standing eight count in the first round as he failed to defend himself. After taking another two counts in the second and third rounds, Fousey’s corner finally stepped in to end the contest in the fourth round (as he staggered across the middle of the ring), failing to show any sort of resistance to Slim’s punches. After the fight was over, and fans feared for any potential injuries, the YouTube star finally revealed via Instagram that he had broken his nose in the fight. He also congratulated Slim on the victory, noting that he had earned the win even though Fousey had trained the hardest he possibly could have in the build-up. View this post on InstagramYou win some you lose some that’s just how it happens. At the end of the day, I gave it my all. Trained the hardest I possibly could in 2 months and came prepared. Can’t thank my coaches @tengooseboxing_gym @teamfunez93 enough for investing so much time and energy into my life. I love y’all. A massive congrats to @slim_slimmofication .. you came, you saw, you conquered. Enjoy the win bro. You deserve it. PS. My nose was bad enough before having it broken. So screw you for that. It seems pretty unlikely that we’ll see Fousey competing inside the squared circle anytime soon, especially in regards to a huge professional bout like KSI vs Logan Paul 2. Yet, when it comes to charity events, it’s pretty much a free-for-all. You just need to throw some punches back and show a bit of resistance.

FouseyTube criticized for repeatedly “hitting on” streamer with boyfriend – Dexerto
FouseyTube criticized for repeatedly “hitting on” streamer with boyfriend YouTuber Yousef ‘FouseyTube’ Erakat has been criticized for repeatedly hitting on a girl while she’s streaming, despite apparently knowing she has a boyfriend and her continued requests for him to stop. Fousey has had a rollercoaster couple of years. After becoming a wildly successful and popular personality on YouTube for his pranks and vlogs, a number of personal issues throughout 2018 and 2019 affected his content and public persona. Since then, though, Fousey has clearly been making an active effort to overcome his struggles with mental health issues to get back to creating good content on both YouTube and Twitch. In a series of tweets posted on January 2, streamer ‘RLaw’ shared a clip of Fousey restreaming his attempts to “hit on” his girlfriend ‘fleeksie’, despite being reminded that she has a boyfriend. “You’ve come into my girlfriend’s stream multiple times hitting on her and restreaming her reaction,” he states, “after shes told you she has a boyfriend several times now.” Replying to one of the responders, he said “she has verbally told him she has a bf and he came back hours later trying to shoot his shot again and has come back several times since… She was ending stream or I would’ve snapped.” You’ve come into my gf’s stream multiple times hitting on her and restreaming her reaction after shes told you she has a bf several times now. @fousey pic.twitter.com/KjQapDPo6J — RLaw (@RLawGG) January 2, 2020 Following up a few hours later, RLaw tweeted that “Fousey has reached out to me in DMs apologizing as well as owned the mistake on his stream. I got the chance to hop in Discord with him as well and talk it out.” After a few hours, RLaw tweeted again, saying “Fousey and I have no drama atm. Shelly is asleep so I can’t speak for her, I’m sure she’s still upset but the hate and threats are getting out of control and people think she’s at fault which is bs.” Fousey has reached out to me in DMs apologizing as well as owned the mistake on his stream. Might do a short vid or let her handle it later idk yet. It’s not fair to her — RLaw (@RLawGG) January 2, 2020 Around the same time, Fousey tweeted: “I’ve started 2020 with an abundant amount of L’s due to reckless, childish and immature behavior. I need to do better.” https://twitter.com/fousey/status/1212651022851530752?s=20 Whether RLaw and fleeksie do go ahead and make a video addressing the issue will become clear in time, but for now, it seems that the issue is resolved. Based on his tweet, though, it seems Fousey is learning from his mistakes and is looking to right his wrongs in 2020.

Fouseytube explains his social media hiatus on Logan Paul’s ‘imPaulsive’ podcast – Dexerto
Fouseytube explains his social media hiatus on Logan Paul’s ‘imPaulsive’ podcast Logan Paul, YouTubeControversial YouTuber Yousef ‘Fouseytube’ Erakat has finally emerged from his social media hiatus, making his first official appearance in an episode of Logan Paul’s ‘imPaulsive’ podcast. Fousey took part in Paul’s podcast on February 15, where he explained his online absence as stemming from his controversial ‘July 15th’ event from 2018. According to Fousey, he’d latched on to its ultimate failure, claiming that he’d never allowed himself to grow past the blow-up. Fousey went on to explain that he had stopped taking mood stabilizers prior to the July 15 event, and had begun taking Adderall, instead. Read More: Twitch streamer Sodapoppin butchers pronunciation of Pokimane’s name in incredible fashion – Combined with his ego boost from gaining a million subscribers on one of his channels, Fousey called the debacle a “trainwreck,” and said that he had been “plagued by overambition” due to the switch. “It got more grandiose as it went on,” Fousey said of the medication. “So by the time that event came, it was just like an explosion. It was a trainwreck waiting to happen.” Fouseytube’s July 15 event promised to feature such names as musical artists Drake and Snoop Dog, with the YouTuber even allegedly following Drake outside of a nightclub prior to the showdown. View this post on InstagramThis summer I suffered a very public and humiliating manic episode that really flipped my life upside down. I had just come off of my medications for the first time in years and foolishly used adderall as a substitute. What I thought was new found motivation and inspiration was really an out of control manic episode that took control of me and changed my life forever. There’s much to the story that is yet to be explained. I’ve fallen many times in my life. But this year was the first time I actually hit rock bottom. They say that when you hit rock bottom, you experience something magical in your life that is forever life changing. I’ve yet to see the magic it brings. In a single summer, I managed to lose all my money, cars, public respect, self respect, love, worth and even almost my parents home. Most importantly I lost the identity that I had built for myself to mask who I really was since the age of 21. I grew up in my 20’s living and hiding behind a camera. Using social media as a drug to escape from my real problems. I managed to flush a decade worth of work down the toilet and was back to square 1 lower than when I began. Thankfully, I still have family, food and my parents roof over my head. Since the Summer, I have been trying my best to get help. From going on a spiritual journey (only to return early because they felt I wasn’t safe to be alone in my mental state and advised me to fly home to family), countless therapy sessions, getting on and off different medications looking for the right one and even outpatient rehab. I have yet to find my resolve. Even writing this, I am not in the right mental state nor healthy enough to be on social media. I am still on the path to recovery, with no end date in sight. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ All in all, I’m posting this to say I am very grateful for 2018 to be over. Enough has happened in my life publicly and even more behind the scenes where my prayers are for nothing new to creep into 2019. To anyone struggling and battling their own demons, just know you’re not alone. Life is a constant battle of ups and downs and the key is..well I don’t know the key yet.. but there is a key. Happy New Years.️ Attendees were later asked to leave the event due to a supposed bomb threat, after which Fousey gave a heated speech on top of a car. Fousey likewise created an Instagram post detailing the moments leading up to July 15 in early January, where he stated that he is still “on the path to recovery,” thanks to a mixture of new medications, therapy, rehab, and ultimate introspection.

Fouseytube challenges Deji to boxing match, calls him the “biggest bitch on Youtube” – Dexerto
Fouseytube challenges Deji to boxing match, calls him the “biggest bitch on Youtube” Fouseytube, Deji – YouTubeYouTube stars KSI and Logan Paul are scheduled to throw down in the boxing ring once again in November, but word is still out on an undercard for the rematch – but one YouTuber is issuing a heated fight request ahead of time. YouTuber Yousef “Fouseytube” Erakat has returned to social media after an extended hiatus, and he’s making his comeback in a big way, challenging social media stars Jake Paul and Deji Olatunji to set foot in the boxing ring. It was Deji who initially called out Fouseytube during a livestream in mid-August, claiming that his potential opponent was “nowhere near ready” – but that wasn’t the end of their beef, by far. Deji later reacted to a video of Fousey sparring with fellow YouTuber Alex Wassabi on August 26, where he roasted Fousey’s boxing skills and claimed that he wanted to fly to Los Angeles to fight him. This didn’t impress Fouseytube, who lashed out at Deji in a series of scathing Twitter posts, where he called Deji the “biggest bitch on YouTube” and even referenced his ongoing family feud with KSI. “Yo Deji, you’re hands down the BIGGEST BITCH on YouTube,” Erakat wrote. “All you do is talk shit you can’t back up. That’s why your own brother doesn’t claim you. You won’t see me OR Alex on the undercard. If you want it you can get it. Until then, go hide in your brother’s shadow.” Yo @Deji you’re hands down the BIGGEST BITCH on YouTube. All you do is talk shit you can’t back up. That’s why your own brother doesn’t claim you. (@fousey) August 26, 2019 However, Fouseytube quickly changed his stance, later tagging KSI with a request to let him fight his little brother on the rematch undercard. “Yo KSI, put me on the undercard against your crackhead brother,” he continued. “I’ll knock him back into being an obedient little brother.” Yo @KSIOlajidebt put me on the undercard against your crackhead brother. I’ll knock him back into being an obedient little brother. — Yousef Erakat. (@fousey) August 26, 2019 While KSI has yet to respond to Fousey’s request, Deji isn’t the only YouTuber he’s challenged: he likewise called out Jake Paul, who claimed that he would take his offer into consideration if he “shows me proof that he met Drake.” Fousey countered the low blow by referencing Paul’s alleged cheating scandal with ex-girlfriend Erika Costell, writing, “that’s like me saying, ‘I’ll only fight Jake if he shows proof that he loves Tana.’” that’s like me saying, i’ll only fight jake if he shows proof that he loves tana. https://t.co/Uihs1excO6 — Yousef Erakat. Fouseytube apologizes for saying racial slur during Twitch subathon – Dexerto
Fouseytube apologizes for saying racial slur during Twitch subathon YouTube: FouseytubeYouTube star Fouseytube has published a public apology after using a racial slur while singing along to a song during his Twitch subathon. Fouseytube is a prominent YouTuber who is now building a presence on Twitch, where he currently boasts over 229 thousand followers. Fousey is in the middle of an ongoing subathon — a continuous broadcast that adds a certain amount of time with every subscription a viewer decides to give a streamer. In the past, streamers’ subathons have gone on for months at a time. Fousey’s subathon has been rife with drama already, with the YouTuber getting into scuffles with drunk strangers and even facing off with a supposedly armed man at a Party City store. However, the latest incident to take place during the broadcast prompted him to make a public apology on Twitter. Fouseytube apologizes after using racial slur during Twitch stream On August 1, Fousey was in his bedroom rapping along to J. Cole’s song ‘Love Yourz’ when he used a racial slur that’s present in the song’s lyrics. Fousey immediately clapped his hand over his mouth and doubled over before hitting his bed in frustration and letting out an angry, “F*ck!” “I never use that word, I swear to f*cking God, this isn’t content!” he shouted. “I never use that f*cking word. I’ve listened to rap songs every day on this subathon, and I always change it out for ‘brotha.’” Fousey later took to Twitter to issue a formal apology due to the situation. “I could not be more ashamed or upset with myself,” he wrote in a now-deleted post. “I am deeply sorry. This doesn’t represent my character. I literally tweeted two weeks ago against the usage of the word. I will do better. No question.” xQc, Devin Haney & more react to Fouseytube’s Twitch stream Since then, Fousey has been met with an outpouring of support from other stars, with even the likes of pro boxer Devin Haney reposting a clip of the moment with a series of crying laughing emojis. Another pro boxer, Anthony ‘Pretty Boy’ Taylor, also chimed in on the situation, writing, “Leave Fousey the f*ck alone! Don’t let me tell you twice, I don’t care.” Even Twitch star xQc reacted to the incident, saying that he “gets” Fousey’s frustration over the incident as he likely didn’t want his subathon to end by risking a possible ban. Although Fousey’s Twitch account is still active at the time of writing, Fousey did receive a ban in the middle of his subathon nearly two weeks ago, causing him to plead with Twitch to re-instate his channel.

FouseyTube opens up about “manic episode” that led to social media hiatus FouseyTubeFans of Yousef ‘FouseyTube’ Erakat were stunned when the popular figure went silent on social media, but an update on his whereabouts has revealed the turmoil and strife the 28-year-old had endured. At the height of FouseyTube’s career, he had amassed an incredible following of over 10 million subscribers on YouTube, and acheived equally impressive feats on Twitter and Instagram but inexplicably purged all accounts in the summer of 2018. Fousey’s Kick stream takes dangerous turn as he walks on busy freeway – Dexerto
Fousey’s Kick stream takes dangerous turn as he walks on busy freeway Kick: FouseyFousey’s subathon on Kick took a rather dangerous turn as he broadcasted himself walking through traffic on a busy freeway, talking to people in cars as they drove past. Over the last few months, Youtube star Fousey has been doing a 24/7 subathon across his channels for fans to enjoy. He recently moved over to Kick full time after receiving multiple bans on Twitch, getting two of them in the same week before switching. During his broadcast on August 21, Fousey’s actions took a dangerous turn as he was walking down a busy freeway attempting to talk to people in cars. Fousey goes on rant while walking down freway During the Kick stream, Fousey decided to walk down the center lane of his local freeway to rant about recent things going on with his life. “YouTube, everybody. The internet’s hating me. It’s now 2023 [and] I’m 33 years old. Might have signed a multi-million dollar deal dog,” he said. “I’m gonna retire my entire family.” He went on to walk up to a passing car to talk to people inside, asking if they knew who he was. “I’m on the Miami freeway by the way,” he added. Fousey taking streaming break after controversial airport stream with “trafficked” woman – Dexerto
Fousey taking streaming break after controversial airport stream with “trafficked” woman Twitch: FouseyYouTuber and streamer Fousey has revealed he’ll be taking a break from streaming after he was accused of taking advantage of a woman at an airport during a recent broadcast. Fousey, or FouseyTube to others, is a recognizable name for many who have followed YouTube over the last few years. He made his name with prank videos and edgy social experiments but has recently put more of a focus on Twitch streaming. During his August 6 stream, however, he landed himself in hot water after an interaction with a drunk woman at the airport. She joked that she was sober before admitting to having had a few drinks. She also revealed she had been trafficked and sold into a “sex ring.” After a conversation about that, Fousey gave her $300, before his viewers donated even more to her. During this, the pair continued flirting and kissing, before they disappeared from view for around 20 minutes. When Fousey returned to the camera, he bragged that they’d just hooked up. However, a few moments later, he started to regret things, saying he felt “guilty” about it and even claimed he was crying behind his sunglasses. Though, many viewers doubted that and accused him of having taken advantage of the woman. Before turning his stream off, he claimed it was all a joke and nothing happened aside from them sharing life stories about her experiences. Fousey taking break from Twitch amid controversy Fousey has since posted a lengthy statement to Twitter in the early hours of August 7, alerting fans to his break, while also stating that he’d be back “shortly” after being “manic” recently. “I’ve been neglecting my health. Not going to the gym. Not drinking water. Not sleeping properly. Not eating clean and consistently moving at 100000 MPH. It’s time to slow down,” he stated. “My close friends and family want me to go do a check in at the doctors for a mental health eval and to go see my therapist. I assure you I’m fine, but I’m slipping.” His statement had no direct references to the situation that had happened at the airport, but was more a general comment on his lifestyle recently. The statement concluded with Fousey saying he’d be back “shortly” and that he wasn’t doing any of this for “content” as some may suggest. “This isn’t content. This isn’t YouTube or Twitch. This is my REAL LIFE. I am living my on camera 100000% authentically,” Fousey added. The original broadcast and clips have been wiped from Fousey’s Twitch channel, though he did upload a part of his stream to YouTube with his apology and regret for the interaction. It’s not his only controversy recently either, as Fousey issued an apology back on August 2 for using a racial slur during his subathon.

FouseyTube Has Kept His Promise to KEEMSTAR and Deleted His YouTube Channel – Dexerto
FouseyTube Has Kept His Promise to KEEMSTAR and Deleted His YouTube Channel It appears FouseyTube has lived up to the promise he made in KEEMSTAR’s July 15th documentary by deleting all the videos on his YouTube channel, along with his Twitter and Instagram accounts. During the sitdown interview with Keem, Yousef Saleh Eraka, better known as FouseyTube, made the claim that he would appear on stage at a J. Cole concert, and would give a speech to the crowd. Fousey went on to state that if he didn’t appear on stage with J. Cole, it would be the last time people saw him online, stating; If am not on that stage and he’s by my side, and I have my dog ‘dollar’ – because my dog dollar passed away this week last year, so I’m doing this for him to fulfil the dream I promised him – If I am not on that stage, I promise you, to walk away from YouTube, my whole acting career, me doing what I want to do in life. I’ll live in isolation, and no one will hear from me ever again.” While Fousey was in attendance at the J.Cole show, he never actually appeared on stage. He did upload a video after the event titled “How I met J. Cole”, but the actual contents of the video referred to Fousey meeting the rapper at a radio show years earlier. It seems now, however, that Fousey has lived up to his promise. On Friday, August 31, all of the videos on his YouTube channel have been removed, and his Twitter is no longer available. Fousey’s Instagram is still up, but all his posts have been deleted. Fousey’s decision to fulfil his promise comes on the back of KEEMSTAR calling the YouTuber out on Twitter, claiming he had been “lying to the youth”. Fousey previously claimed that Drake would be appearing at an event Eraka was hosting called ‘Hate Dies, Love Arrives’, but of course, the OVO star never appeared. While it’s unclear if Fousey’s self imposed absence will be permanent or not, it will certainly be interesting to see how KEEMSTAR reacts to the news.

Fousey signs to Kick after being banned from Twitch twice in a week – Dexerto
Fousey signs to Kick after being banned from Twitch twice in a week FouseyYouTube star turned streamer Fousey has signed a deal with Kick after being banned from Amazon-owned platform Twitch twice in one week. Starting out as a YouTuber over a decade, Fousey is now one of the biggest names in streaming at the moment. From being under fire and accused of taking advantage of a “trafficked” woman at an airport to the use of racial and homophobic slurs — it’s fair to say Fousey has been a major vocal point recently. On August 7, Fousey was hit with a three-day ban for saying a “hateful slur” on stream, where on August 10, the streamer returned to continue his 24/7 broadcast — only to be banned for a second time in the space of a week. Likewise to many others in the space, Fousey has now jumped ship following his second ban, signing a deal with rival platform Kick. Fousey signs deal with Kick after second Twitch ban In a tweet on August 12, the Twitch star revealed he signed a deal with Kick — and also apologized for his mistakes resulting in the two bans. “Dear @Twitch I LOVE YOU. So much. But you dropped the ball HARD. I signed with KICK this week,” he wrote. “But STILL was gonna celebrate 24/7 on Twitch out of respect. And you banned me twice in 1 week.” “I’m sorry for the F slur and driving wreck-less but in ALL my appeals I said “I don’t have a twitch rep. Please have someone teach me TOS.” Don’t worry, I’ll be back. But not this weekend. G7 @KickStreaming ALL WEEKEND! Respectfully. Furthermore, in a Kick stream the same day, Fousey said that signing a deal, “I started YouTube on March 25, 2011. Every YouTuber that started with me died ten times over. They now work a regular job, good for them, make a living. “It’s 2023, I’m still here and I’ve just signed a deal with Kick and I’m about to take the f**k over.” He added: “I’m live 24/7. The cameras never turn off, I show you everything even when I’m in the heat of drama and the internet is trying to cancel me. I’m live, so you see I don’t script sh*t, I don’t fake sh*t and everything’s real.”

Fousey sparks concern after appearing in Adin Ross live stream: “I’m not eating” – Dexerto
Fousey sparks concern after appearing in Adin Ross live stream: “I’m not eating” Kick: FouseyYouTuber and Kick streamer Fousey sparked concern from fans after appearing on Adin Ross’s stream, opening up about his mental health after being hospitalized in 2023. Fouseytube is an OG YouTuber who recently started streaming on Kick after receiving a series of bans from Twitch in summer 2023. During that time, Fousey engaged in a series of actions that sparked concern from viewers, such as walking on a busy freeway at night and going long periods of time without sleep. He was also swatted several times over the course of his summertime streams, and eventually called police about the situation while staying in a hotel in August. In the call, Fousey claimed “there is a gun to my head right now,” although this was not true. Law enforcement eventually showed up in response to Fousey’s call, and the YouTuber ended up getting detained by police and was ultimately hospitalized for a mental health evaluation. Fousey returned to the internet in November 2023 with an exclusive Kick deal as a welcome gift — but nearly two months later, fans are still expressing concern for the influencer after a conversation he had with fellow streamer Adin Ross during a live broadcast. Fouseytube admits he’s “depressed” after hospitalization During their chat, Fousey admitted that he felt like he’d “flopped,” and said he hadn’t been socializing much. On top of that, he also claimed that he hadn’t been eating. “I sit there and I sulk,” he admitted. “I lay in bed. …I’ve hit rock bottom. This is rock bottom.” “There’s no explanation as to why I’m depressed,” he continued. Adin Ross attempted to give Fousey advice and lift his mood throughout their chat, telling him to “get up right now and snap out of this sh*t.” Fans left a slew of comments expressing concern for Fousey’s mental health, with one viewer writing on YouTube, “It’s actually really sad seeing him so depressed. Hang in there Fousey.” “I hope he does better soon and locks tf in,” another wrote. “We need Fousey back ASAP,” yet another said. It’s worth noting that, on January 1, Fousey uploaded a video to his YouTube channel titled, “The KING is back,” in which he appeared to joke about his hospitalization and portrayed himself as a version of The Joker. For now, it looks like Fousey is making his comeback on Kick, with his latest stream titled, ‘Day 1 in Depression Boot Camp,” as fans and fellow streamers send him support after a tumultuous year in 2023.

Fousey returns to streaming with new Kick contract offer from Adin Ross – Dexerto
Fousey returns to streaming with new Kick contract offer from Adin Ross YouTube: Adin LiveFousey has officially returned to social media after an extended hiatus — and during his comeback stream, Adin Ross presented him with what looks like a brand-new Kick deal. On August 23, 2023, popular YouTuber and streamer ‘Fousey’ was notably hospitalized after phoning police during a live broadcast, claiming he and his family were being threatened. This incident came in the wake of several other issues leading up to his hospitalization, which included Fousey walking on a busy highway at night during a stream, being swatted by viewers repeatedly, and even getting into altercations with other creators. According to reports from TMZ, Fousey was sent to a hospital for a mental health evaluation after the ordeal on August 23. Since then, he’d been relatively quiet online… but on November 6, the streamer finally made his comeback. Adin Ross offers Fousey a Kick contract in comeback stream Fousey returned to social media to team up with Kick streamer Adin Ross in a surprise broadcast on Ross’s channel, during which Ross presented him with what appears to be a new streaming contract with Kick. (Topic begins at 14:58) It’s worth noting that Fousey claimed he’d signed a deal with Kick on August 12, mere weeks before his hospitalization. Prior to this deal, Fousey had been banned on Twitch twice. However, some fans weren’t certain that his deal was still active due to a phone call Fousey took during one of his live streams mere days after announcing it. Given all the hubbub surrounding his broadcasts leading up to his hospitalization, much of his fanbase believed his deal was up in the air. It’s also unclear whether or not Ross and Fousey were just trolling with the new Kick deal during their stream. For now, it looks like Fousey’s standing with Kick appears to be positive, and his channel still boasts a verified mark at the time of writing. Fousey himself said that he would sign the new deal once he spoke with his lawyer. In the meantime, it seems like fans are happy that Fousey has returned to streaming after months of recovery.

Fousey suspended from Twitch after second ban in a month – Dexerto
Fousey suspended from Twitch after second ban in a month December 12 update: Fousey’s ban on Twitch has been reversed, with the popular YouTube creator free to stream on the Amazon-owned platform. He is yet to make a statement regarding the reversal. ✅ Twitch Partner “”FOUSEY”” has been unbanned after 1 day, 26 minutes, 29 seconds! ✅https://t.co/t31ynmsUmz#twitch #unban #partner #twitchpartner ⛏️ — StreamerBans (@StreamerBans) December 13, 2019 This article was originally titled “Fousey permanently banned from Twitch after second ban in a month.” Article continues below. Popular YouTuber Yusef ‘FouseyTUBE’ Erekat has been indefinitely suspended from Twitch following his second ban in just one month. Having been initially suspended from the streaming platform on November 20, Fousey was confused as to exactly what actions led to his removal. Just a few days after being reinstated on Twitch, the internet superstar appears to have been banned once again. This time, it’s permanent. On December 11, the Twitch partner was removed from the platform entirely and Fousey had a few words to say in an attempt to express his frustration. Twitch rarely provides public comment on their various suspensions and this most recent case is no different. Despite having only just made his way back to the platform, Fousey’s latest broadcast saw him “banned indefinitely,” according to the streamer, with no clear outline as to why. Evidently frustrated with the cards he had been dealt, the YouTuber subsequently outlined in a tirade on Twitter that he was “never going back to Twitch.” “Yo Twitch give me my account back or at least give me someone to speak to,” he demanded just moments after being taken offline for good. Toying with the idea of jumping ship and planting his flag in new streaming territory, Fousey asked his followers how to stream on Mixer, the Microsoft-owned Twitch rival that hosts the likes of Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins and ‘Michael ‘shroud’ Grzesiek. “HOLD ON. Trying to make a mixer on a fake account. Lemme try this,” the YouTuber continued before realizing that “mixer takes 24 hours to give [him] a stream key.” “Damn Twitch you did me so dirty tonight,” he expressed. “At least offer a representative to speak to.” Eventually, Fousey settled on a service and went live on Caffeine, however he rapidly ended that particular broadcast. Instead, Fousey created an alternate account and once again went live on Twitch, this time under the name ‘fouseyyyy.’ With over 10 million subscribers on YouTube alone, perhaps the content creator will house all of his efforts under the single umbrella and now focus his live broadcasts on his most successful platform. While the ban could be overturned, it seems as though bridges have been sufficiently burnt and the YouTuber is set to move on from the streaming platform entirely.

YouTube star Fousey, who’s best known for his prank videos and social experiments has gradually made a name for himself within the streaming world with his 24/7 subathon. However, that hasn’t come without a fair share of issues. Being live constantly, viewers always have at least a rough idea of his whereabouts, resulting in him being swatted on numerous occasions. On his August 19 stream, he was kicked out of a restaurant after a bomb threat was called in. Fousey begs fans to stop swatting him Posting a video on August 20 to Twitter/X, captioned “STOP CALLING THE COPS ON ME”, Fousey has begged the trolls to stop continuously calling the cops on him. “To everyone calling the cops to every place I go, I’m good with the cops. Right?” he said, before turning the camera around to reveal three police officers. To much surprise, the cops answered. “Yeah you’re good,” one said, while another officer nodded their head. “We just didn’t know if you knew who it was or not.” Turning the camera back around to himself, Fousey demanded that the officers ruin the swatters’ lives if they are caught. “If you find out who it was arrest them, throw them in jail, do not give them a bar of soap, literally ruin their lives. Okay?” Being on camera for almost every second since starting his subathon on July 1 has gotten the 33-year-old caught up in quite a few controversies, resulting in multiple Twitch bans in the same week. Notably, he’s come under fire on several occasions for various reasons ranging from the use of racial and homophobic slurs to a controversial interaction with a “sex trafficked” woman in an airport.

The YouTuber turned streamer Fouseytube who made his name through prank videos and edgy social experiments during his rise to fame has since focused his content surrounding real-life broadcasts. Fousey started a subathon that has been live for over 30 days, whereby as long as somebody subscribes within a certain amount of time the broadcast will stay live. It has not been uncommon for these types of live content to go on for months, although it has been taking a toll on him over the weeks as he has been involved in various drama along the way. Fousey asked to leave a restaurant in Arizona following a bomb threat While carrying on the subathon on August 20, he was seen by viewers exploring Scottsdale, Arizona, before going to eat at a local restaurant. Soon after he had ordered his food an employee approached him who is thought to be the manager of the restaurant, asking Fousey to leave due to a bomb threat being called to their location. “I’ll leave. It’s okay. You seem like you’re going to cry. I don’t want to hurt your feelings,” the internet personality responded. After acknowledging how emotionally shaken up the staff were, the 33-year-old agreed to leave — proceeding to grab his things, before getting increasingly frustrated saying: “I don’t want the food, by the way. I’m not paying for it. No, f**k this restaurant! I don’t want the food.” While walking down the street, he addressed his stream given the situation as viewers gave their opinions. One user said: “This is freaking crazy, protect yourself and your family,” reacting to the shocking events. While others have criticized him for how he acted towards the food spot: “Is it really the restaurant’s fault? I don’t think the way that person was treated was fair,” another said. Similarly, controversial figure Adin Ross was recently swatted during an IRL stream on a golf course.

I said brother my life is over, I gave him the whole schpeel, I was crying outside the gym. I said it’s over is there anything you can hire me to do?” Fousey says Jake Paul saved his life paying for hospitalization Despite not having any sort of relationship prior, days later Fousey got a call from Jake Paul himself, where he admitted to ‘The Problem Child’ that he was suicidal. “I go, Jake, I’m about to off myself. During his stream on August 23, the 33-year-old had reportedly been awake without sleep for 48 hours in which a series of manic events occurred leading to him ultimately being arrested in Miami. Fousey strangely calls the cops claiming his life is in danger before being arrested The new Kick streamer had become increasingly alarmed after being swatted various times in the days leading up to his arrest. He had mentioned numerous times to his viewers that he believed he had a stalker and his concerns for his safety grew over time. Eventually Fousey began to call the police as he was sat in his hotel room, where he could be heard saying: “Send the f*cking cops, send the cops!” He then claimed: “There is a gun to my head right now,” as the personality tried convincing the operator that he was in a hostage situation. Ocean Spray If you haven’t seen DoggFace skateboarding to Dreams by Fleetwood Mac while drinking Ocean Spray cranberry juice, where have you been? Google trends recorded a 1,329% surge in interests for Ocean Spray after comparing this to the search interests in September, a month prior to the viral video. Ocean Spray is even reported to expect a surge in sales by next quarter. The Ordinary The ordinary is a cult, affordable skincare brand that launched in 2016. In January, @kaelynnwhitee uploaded a video explaining how the ordinary AHA 30% and BHA 2% peeling solution worked wonders for her skin. The original video was seen more than 4 million times, and the brand had a search increase of 116% during the period the video went viral. Essence Kiss Numerous videos of Essence Kiss: Black Sheep lipstick, which is deceivingly black-colored, went viral in February. The lipstick drew in viewers because it adjusts to your skin’s PH, giving you the perfect pink pout. As a result, it saw an increase of 340% in Google searches. Urban Skin RX Earlier this year @niceoneashley showed the before and after effects of Urban Skin RX on her acne scars, amassing more than 6.5 million views. The company saw a shocking 2,558% increase in Google search volume in January. Despite attempts to ban the platform, TikTok still dominates in the US and globally. Companies can still enjoy the benefits of a boost in sales if they happen to get featured in a viral video or challenge.

Four people dead after attempting TikTok boat challenge – Dexerto
Four people dead after attempting TikTok boat challenge Unsplash: Maria TenevaAuthorities are warning against TikTok’s dangerous boat challenge after four people from Alabama died while attempting it. At least four people, including a father, have tragically passed away after taking part in TikTok‘s deadly boat challenge, Alabama authorities said. The participants of the life-threatening trend reportedly jumped or flipped off the backs of speeding boats, only to break their necks when they hit the water at speed and drown. Captain Jim Dennis of the Childersburg Rescue Squad in Alabama told WBMA: “Last six months we have had four drownings that were easily avoidable. They were doing a TikTok challenge. “It’s where you get in a boat going at a high rate of speed, you jump off the side of the boat, don’t dive, you’re jumping off feet first and you just kinda lean into the water.” The first victim died in February this year, after he hurled himself into the Coosa River while his wife and their children watched from inside the boat. “Unfortunately, she recorded his death,” Dennis said. Since that first death, three others met a similar fate. “I think people, if they’re being filmed on camera, I think they’re more likely to do something stupid because they want to show off in front of their friends for social media,” Captain Dennis told ABC 7. Some TikTok videos using the hashtag #boatjumping now carry a warning, which reads: “Participating in this activity could result in you or others getting hurt.” Alabama police are urging anyone not to take part in the dangerous boat challenge. “Do not do it,” Dennis said. “It’s not worth your life.” This is not the first time a TikTok trend has claimed lives, after a 16-year-old girl died while trying the viral ‘scarf game,’ which is a variation of the deadly Blackout Challenge.

Four 15-year-old teens arrested over viral TikTok gun prank – Dexerto
Four 15-year-old teens arrested over viral TikTok gun prank WDRB/TikTokFour 15-year-old teens have been arrested in Kentucky after participating in a viral TikTok challenge that allegedly involves telling teachers they have a bomb or gun in their backpacks. Since its launch in 2016, TikTok has become the home for a variety of online challenges — and some of them aren’t exactly the safest. The Devious Lick challenge saw students stealing items from school and even “slapping” teachers, while the Sleepy Chicken TikTok trend saw people mixing Nyquil with their dinner. In the platform’s latest challenge, students are allegedly “pranking” their teachers by claiming to have a dangerous item in their backpack, leading to the arrest of four 15-year-old teenagers in Kentucky. Teens allegedly claimed to have bombs in their backpack As reported by the New York Post, the four Kentucky teenagers are now facing charges of terrorism and harassment after allegedly threatening their teachers with hidden bombs. According to the report, three of the incidents were confirmed to have stemmed from the TikTok challenge, while the fourth occurred after hearing about the hoax. Police said: “The challenge encouraged students to record a video of themselves telling a teacher there was a bomb or gun in their backpack.” The school sent a memo to parents shortly after the incident, warning them about the repercussions of making such a threat to the school. “As previously communicated in a letter to families regarding terroristic threatening, students who participate in this type of behavior face serious consequences. In addition to school-level discipline, students are prosecuted to the greatest extent of the law for making a threat to a public school,” said the school. “Whether written or spoken, all threats are taken seriously and students need to know the repercussions of these actions, both short and long term. Even if they are not credible threats, they can cause a great deal of stress or anxiety for our students, families and staff.” The students have been suspended indefinitely and will be in juvenile court in the coming weeks.

Fortnite YouTuber LazarBeam hits out at YouTube rewind for only using Ninja – Dexerto
Fortnite YouTuber LazarBeam hits out at YouTube rewind for only using Ninja (Left) Dexerto/(Right) Twitter LazarBeamYTFortnite YouTuber Lannan ‘LazarBeam’ Eacott has taken shots at this year’s YouTube Rewind video over the use of Fortnite creators. The Australian creator has criticised the video for using a Fortnite theme in the Rewind but not including more YouTube creators who make regular content on the game for the platform. Twitch streamer Ninja, who uploads stream highlights to YouTube, plays a key role in the opening of the video as the Fortnite bus driver – making references to thanking the driver like players would in-game. Voicing his opinion via Twitter, Lannan tweeted: “So rewind starts with a Fortnite theme but they don’t include any of the biggest fortnite creators. The only guy that gets a spot is the one who exclusively uploads his highlights from TWITCH streams and in no way creates YouTube content. You literally can’t get more tone deaf.” Read More: Fortnite Season 7 Update: v7.00 patch notes, Iceberg biome, Wraps, Battle Pass, Stormwing plane and more – This wasn’t LazarBeam’s only problem with this year’s instalment of the annual video. He tweeted minutes earlier, criticising the company for flying his pal and fellow creator Lachlan Power out to record for the video, only not to use his part in the video. So rewind starts with a Fortnite theme but they don’t include any of the biggest fortnite creators The only guy that gets a spot is the one who exclusively uploads his highlights from TWITCH streams and in no way creates YouTube content. Please use code “fuck YouTube” in the fortnite item shop,” Lannan tweeted. LazarBeam is not the only vocal critic about this year’s video. Twitch streamer Félix ‘xQc’ Lengyel and YouTuber Daniel ‘Keemstar’ Keem both voiced their displeasure about Rewind. The 2018 YouTube Rewind, Everyone Controls Rewind, can be found below:

Fortnite YouTuber MOMO Does Fortnite Dance During KSI vs Logan Boxing Match – Dexerto
Fortnite YouTuber MOMO Does Fortnite Dance During KSI vs Logan Boxing Match Fans might know MOMO from his many FIFA and Fortnite videos on his YouTube channel, where he has over 1.4 million subscribers. However, MOMO is more than a YouTube gamer. He made his first foray into amateur boxing during the KSI vs Logan Paul fight – and had an interesting take on the sport. MOMO was set to fight fellow FIFA pro RossiHD in the second match of the evening. With over 2 million subscribers collectively, it wasn’t just a matter of physical prowess – it was a matter of clout, as well. Rather than taking the match too seriously, MOMO decided to put a different spin on his fight. At just one minute and fifty seconds into the first round, MOMO broke into Fortnite’s “Hype” emote, as though making an attempt to taunt his opponent. The ‘Hype’ emote originates from the ‘shoot’ dance, popularized by rapper BlocBoy JB. He wasn’t done yet: after another standoff with RossiHD, MOMO taunted again with the “Floss,” quickly returning to fighting stance at Rossi’s subsequent approach. Rossi himself appeared a bit amused – he couldn’t stop a grin from sliding onto his face before rushing back in. MOMO ended up taking the match against RossiHD in a points decision, solidifying his strength – and subscriber count – in the face of his opponent. MOMO’s win was followed by five other events on the undercard, during which Jake Paul took the victory over Deji, KSI’s little brother. The event has over 5.4 million views as of August 26th, with another 1.2 million on Twitch. MOMO’s dance moves brought the hype to an already hype event, proving that internet memery is ever-present – even in the middle of a livestreamed fight. You can watch MOMO’s video on his fight from his YouTube channel below.

Fortnite Twitch streamer slammed for weird jokes about being a ‘predator’ – Dexerto
Fortnite Twitch streamer slammed for weird jokes about being a ‘predator’ Twitch: HydraSZNFortnite Twitch streamer HydraSZN has been called out for his bizarre jokes about being a sexual “predator.” In an August 20 post, Twitter/X user ‘yoxics’ called on Twitch to take action against Fortnite streamer HydraSZN for jokes about being a “predator.” Taking a clip from a recent broadcast, the streamer can be heard calling another player a “f*cking r*tard” after taking down an opponent, before being killed just seconds later. Quickly reacting, the 19-year-old streamer blurted out questionable comments, calling himself a “child predator” and voicing how he “likes kids.” “No! I like kids!” he said. “Oh, I swear to god I do, on my life I’m a little child predator.” In another clip shared, the streamer can also be heard saying he’s going to “f*ck a minor” in a completely different broadcast. The community reacted by putting the streamer on blast, where according to some they’re “not surprised” by the comments made. “Hydra has always been super weird,” one wrote. “Honestly not surprised he said this.” “This guy definitely trying to be edgy for views but he ends up looking like a f*cking weirdo,” said another. “@Twitch please do something this guys a sicko,” a third user hit out. The original poster has confirmed that they’ve contacted Twitch regarding what they call “child endangerment”, adding that they’ll “take him down” themselves if the platform doesn’t act. Another pointed out how this isn’t the first time Hydra has come under fire for similar comments. “Didn’t he get exposed for [this sh*t] in the past?” they asked. Despite being active on social media, the Twitch streamer is yet to respond or even publicly acknowledge the criticism from the community.

Fortnite viewership down on Twitch after Ninja’s exit and Tfue’s break – Dexerto
Fortnite viewership down on Twitch after Ninja’s exit and Tfue’s break Epic Games / Twitch: Tfue / TwitchFortnite Battle Royale’s viewership is down significantly on Twitch after Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins’ departure to Mixer and Turner ‘Tfue’ Tenney’s break. Fortnite has dominated the airwaves of Twitch since the release of its battle royale mode in 2017. Since exceeding 100,000 concurrent viewers in February 2018, the game has not crept below the milestone, consistently topping the Twitch charts in terms of viewership. However, the recent departure of Ninja and Tfue taking a break from streaming has hit the popular game’s stats hard on the streaming platform. It now struggles to break through 90,000 concurrent viewers, and the decline doesn’t seem to be stopping. According to a report by TheGamer, Fortnite’s viewership has plummeted to its lowest level in the last 18 months. Since June 2019, Fortnite’s viewership has declined by an average of around 9% a month, with the biggest drop occurring this month with a sharp 22.5% reduction in viewers. The number of channels streaming the game has also declined from over 10,000 at the start of the year, to around 4,800 on average. Fortnite has had a complicated relationship with its community as of late. The introduction of the B.R.U.T.E. has divided a lot of players, while the game’s focus on Twitch is shifting heavily from community gameplay to esports and tournaments. Read more: New B.R.U.T.E. bug makes death unavoidable – While it’s unclear whether these factors have had as much of an impact as the biggest stars leaving Twitch, it’s definitely a possibility. In the same vein, the rise of new games like World of Warcraft Classic, and huge tournaments like Dota 2’s The International 9 and CS:GO’s Starladder Berlin Major might have also had an impact on the game’s viewership since the World Cup. However, it’s not all bad news for the Epic Games cultural phenomenon. The departure of some of the game’s biggest streamers has allowed new talent to sprout, like World Cup winner Kyle ‘Bugha’ Giersdorf. Bugha’s channel has seen a massive increase in traffic since he started streaming almost daily back in July. He now averages over 20,000 viewers a stream, and has almost eclipsed the 1 million follower mark. While Fortnite’s viewership is on the decline for now, it’s unlikely it’ll stay like this forever. Once Tfue returns from his break, and new streamers make their mark on the platform, the game will more than likely shoot back up to the top of the charts once again.

Fortnite World Cup Winner Bugha swatted live on Twitch – Dexerto
Fortnite World Cup Winner Bugha swatted live on Twitch Epic Games/UnsplashFortnite World Cup winner Kyle ‘Bugha’ Giersdorf was swatted on August 10, while playing Epic Games’ battle royale live on Twitch. ‘Swatting’ is a sad but common occurrence in the gaming community. It is the act of pretending there is a police emergency at the home of a live streamer, so their house is raided by armed police, all in front of a watching audience. Many streamers contact local police departments and inform them of the possibility of such occurrences, but Bugha does not seemed to have done so – yet. One tragic swatting occurrence took place in 2017, in which an innocent man was killed by police due to the wrong address being given. Tyler Barriss was jailed for 20 years, for his role in the death of Andrew Finch. Bugha was streaming Fortnite on August 10, alongside pro players Ghost Bizzle and FaZe Dubs, when his dad entered the room and began trying to speak to the World Cup winner. Bugha can be heard saying “Dad, I actually can’t”, as he tries to clutch out the game. The 16 year old continues playing for a few moments, before asking “I got swatted?” The disbelief is clear in the youngster’s voice, before he exits his setup to deal with the situation. His teammates can be heard asking “who the fuck are you talking to?”, before laughing about the fact that Bugha abandoned them at such a crucial point of their game. Bugha returns roughly ten minutes later, joking that being swatted “was a new one”. He explains to a shocked Bizzle and Dubs that he was swatted, but was able to resolve the situation so quickly because one of the police officers present knew of Bugha and his online profile. While swatting is often done for mindless entertainment, it can have potentially fatal consequences given the urgent, armed response it necessitates. Bugha was quick to return to gaming, describing his experience with swatting as “lucky”. He then addressed the situation in a later tweet, describing it as “kinda wild”. Bugha has likely liaised with police and given them his contact information, to avoid a repeat scenario. ‘Swatting’ is a dangerous occurrence; putting lives at risk and wasting valuable police time and money. However, it seems to be as common as ever, with the most high profile stars – like Bugha – being targeted.

Fortnite streamers dominated Twitch in December 2018 – Dexerto
Fortnite streamers dominated Twitch in December 2018 The list of fastest growing channels were dominated by Fortnite streamers in December 2018, according to Twitch Metrics, but who will have the most popular channel in 2019? Twitch rounded out a massively successful year with a live stream in Times Square, as Ninja was joined by fellow streamers to ring in 2019 with some Fortnite – the most watched and streamed game over the past 12 months. Ninja’s rise on the platform wasn’t without precedent, plenty of streamers have seen sharp increases in popularity, but combine Ninja’s growth with the success of Fortnite and it’s not hard to see why he has almost 13 million followers – over 7 million more than the 2nd most followed streamer, Michael ‘shroud’ Grzesiek. Fastest growing Twitch channels Both Ninja and shroud are seasoned streamers, both former professional players in Halo and Counter-Strike respectively, but, with the influx of brand new streamers in 2018 (over a million more on average per month than in 2017), will a new face be able to climb the ranks? In December 2018, the fastest growing channel wasn’t Ninja, but instead FaZe Clan’s Turner ‘Tfue’ Tenney, who – according to TwitchMetrics – gained over 400,000 followers in the last 30 days, compared to Ninja who has attracted over 365,000. That gap somewhat closed since Ninja’s New Year’s Eve stream from Times Square, as the streamer was nearly 100,000 followers away from Tfue on January 1, but Blevins has since cut that margin to around 35,000. Unsurprisingly, this top 10 list is dominated by Fortnite streamers, with only two (shroud and ZeRo) not streaming Fortnite as their primary game of choice. Read More: Ninja’s plan to get New York flossing failed spectacularly during his New Year’s Eve stream – Judging by this, it will be a Fortnite streamer who will have the biggest opportunity to climb the ranks, maybe even compete with Ninja at the top, but that relies on the popularity of Fortnite remaining steady. The game shows no signs of slowing down, even with increased competition from Call of Duty’s Blackout mode and PUBG now available on all platforms, Fortnite remains the undisputed king of battle royale. Who will be the face of Twitch in 2019? Some of Ninja’s guests at the New Year’s Eve event, like Jack ‘CouRage’ Dunlop, Tim ‘TimTheTatman’ Betar and Ben ‘DrLupo’ Lupo are perhaps worthy candidates. All are primarily Fortnite streamers, but could undoubtedly shift to another game if Fortnite was no longer the cultural zeitgeist. Perhaps safe money would be on Tfue to rise to the very top, but his core following is very much Fortnite oriented, so there is a question mark over how well he would transition to another title, if Fortnite’s popularity was to wane. Ninja is in prime position to keep his spot, however, despite a number of controversies – albeit minor ones – hitting him at the latter end of 2018. The popular streamer’s NYE event in Times Square gave him the platform to catch back up to Tfue in the fastest growing Twitch channel rankings and it’s fair to say that he’s not showing any signs of slowing down any time soon. The real winner in all of this will be Twitch though, who continue to fend off competition from YouTube, Mixer and more to remain the prime destination for video game live streaming.

Fortnite star Tfue posts grim update on status following neck swelling issues – Dexerto
Fortnite star Tfue posts grim update on status following neck swelling issues Things are not looking good for FaZe Clan pro Fortnite Battle Royale player Turner ‘Tfue’ Turner as he has provided a scary update in the midst of an ongoing neck condition. On March 20, Tfue tweeted out that he was currently in the emergency room, and that he would provide more details about the situation later. “I’m currently in the emergency room,” he wrote. “I’ll keep you guys posted.” I’m currently in the emergency room I’ll keep you guys posted :triumph: — Tfue (@TTfue) March 20, 2019 While he was obviously not specific as to the reason or nature of his visit to the hospital, it very likely had to do with a neck condition that he has been complaining about over the past few days. On March 17, the Fortnite superstar revealed that he had been battling swelling in his neck, which he chalked up to playing and streaming too much and not being hydrated enough. On March 19, he provided his first update on the situation, tweeting out about how his neck was still swollen despite the fact that he had already been on antibiotics for a considerable amount of time. “Over 48 hours on antibiotics and my neck is still swollen,” he wrote. “I’m going to see a specialist tomorrow.” Over 48 hours on antibiotics and my neck is still swollen :disappointed: I’m gonna go see a specialist tomorrow — Tfue (@TTfue) March 19, 2019 Whether or not visiting the emergency room is Tfue’s idea of going to a specialist remains unclear, however, the streamer has admitted that he may ultimately need to get surgery on his neck in order to fix the issue. Fans will just have to wait for more updates to see how Tfue’s situation ends up unfolding, but the possibility that he may miss considerable time from streaming remains is looking more and more likely. This article will be updated with more information as it becomes available.

Fortnite streamers can’t stop falling for ‘The End’ event pranks – Dexerto
Fortnite streamers can’t stop falling for ‘The End’ event pranks Epic GamesA number of Fortnite streamers have been falling victim to a handful of unusual pranks while waiting for progress on ‘The End’ event and it’s black hole. After weeks of teases and speculation, Fortnite’s end of Season 10 event finally happened on October 13, with players watching the three-minute-long cinematic spectacular unfold in-game and being shocked at how the map was sucked into a black hole. Since then, it’s been eerily silent from Epic Games – who have completedly blacked out their social media accounts – and left fans watching the black hole for hours on end waiting for any clues as to what comes next. That has prompted a few unusual pranks that have taken advantage of players who are just waiting for something to happen and can’t look away. Popular Spanish streamer TheGrefg, who has only recently made the switch from YouTube to Twitch, was one of those who fell for one of the jokes. As he scrolled through Twitter, looking at theories, videos, and other event-related posts with his viewers, he came across one tweet that looked to show as if something was happening. Naturally, the streamer watched a short clip but was left with his head in his hands as the camera panned to someone off-screen who was mooning the camera. A similar fate befell a Spanish YouTuber, who was following TheGrefg in discussing what was happening with the event and looking for any hints via Twitter. He clicked a similar, excited tweet and watched on as the camera kept zooming in on the black hole, teasing that something was going to happen. Yet, instead, the screen quickly morphed to show an image of an individual showing off more than the streamer had anticipated. Like his compatriot, the streamer was left completely red in the face as he quickly closed it and attempted to move on. Seeing as nothing major has happened with the black hole in the almost 24 hours since the event, players will just have to wait and see what Epic has in store for them in the coming days. Until then, though, any streamers who were buying into the excitement may just want to pre-screen any tweets or videos that might be baiting them in. You never know what’s lurking around the corner.

Fortnite streamers call for Clix ban to be lifted as #FreeClix trends on Twitter – Dexerto
Fortnite streamers call for Clix ban to be lifted as #FreeClix trends on Twitter DexertoAfter being banned from Fortnite, Clix claims his suspension is unjust, and he isn’t alone; popular streamers like SypherPK and BenjyFishy have joined his cause, using the hashtag #FreeClix to protest the ban. Pro Fortnite player Cody “Clix” Conrod was banned by Epic Games for “teaming up” with a stream sniper, in the Fortnite Champion Series. Week 2 of the Majors concluded on April 23 with the NA and European regional finals. Clix was competing in the North American Week 2 finals of Major 2. The victors of these Majors will advance to participate in Major 3 and a LAN event with a $10 million prize pool, held in Copenhagen later this year. However, during a match, another player started ‘stream sniping’ Clix, and to prove it, he began requesting that his opponent drop him items. Due to Clix therefore colluding with the player, he was banned from the game for 14 days. Clix felt the ban was unfair because he was merely trying to make a point to his viewers about a stream sniper. He created a Twitter campaign called #FreeClix, which drew the backing of other Fortnite streamers. SypherPK, Chica & more streamers call out Epic Games to lift Clix’s Fortnite ban As a consequence of his ban from Fortnite, Clix tweeted a link to a replay of the incident, demonstrating his innocence and asking Epic Games to reinstate him after three days rather than the 14 days that would cause him to miss the entire FNCS 2023. Famous Fortnite creator SypherPK argued that Clix’s two-week ban was “too much” because the “teaming up” ploy was “in the heat of the moment”. Chica, a Puerto Rican Fortnite streamer, also called for the ban to be lifted. GXR pro Reddysh weighed in on the debate by tweeting that Clix’s punishment was unjust because the stream sniper had singled him out for the duration of the match. They also pointed out that the stream sniper’s bio includes the phrase “Nr. 1 Clix Hater”. Clix’s fans are also active on Twitter, with over 14,000 tweets using the hashtag #FreeClix, making it a trending topic. Since Epic hasn’t commented on the controversy, fans are holding out hope that the Fortnite pro’s suspension will be restored in time for him to participate fairly in the next Major 3 at FNCS 2023.

Some are nice people who give gifts to streamers to show their appreciation, however, some can be quite extreme or even downright peculiar. Be it the more nefarious acts such as doxxing or stalking of streamers, or the more absurd acts like sending suspicious packages and videos, plenty are just seeking attention. Fortnite streamer Stable Ronaldo was part of the latter, sharing the questionable videos a fan had been sending his girlfriend. The videos in question are of the fan giving himself a wedige by hanging his underpants on a tall object and launching into the air. “This has to be the craziest thing I’ve ever seen,” Ronaldo wrote of the videos. “Angie has this dude who DMs her videos of him wedging himself. This s*** is INSANE.” And in the two videos he shared, we can see the fan hanging himself by his underwear on gym equipment, and even a fence in the middle of nowhere. Naturally, reactions to the unsolicited wedgie videos were a mixture of disgust and hilarity. “Could’ve gone my whole life without seeing this,” a commenter said of the videos. “I speak for everyone when I say you should have kept this to yourself,” another commenter said. “Ronaldo what the f*** is this?” Of course, there is a whole community of those into wedgies in the BDSM circle, with a whole fetish culture brewing around it. However, you should probably not be sending it unsolicited to streamer’s girlfriends.

Fortnite streamer smashes monitor in rage after dying – Dexerto
Fortnite streamer smashes monitor in rage after dying Epic Games / PixabayFortnite Battle Royale players should be used to the process of being knocked down by enemies by now, but this Twitch streamer clearly wasn’t happy after being eliminated – smashing his monitor. The streamer, WizardYensid, has over 70,000 followers on his channel and can be seen regularly playing the battle royale game, Minecraft, and several other popular titles. During a live stream on September 23, the player was in a top four situation with his squad in a game of Fortnite, where he found himself as the final one alive from the group of four – until things didn’t go to plan. With enemies positioned on higher ground, the streamer started to build around himself for protection until he was ultimately eliminated. It’s fair to say that he didn’t take the whole thing very well, throwing his controller right at his monitor just seconds after being consigned to defeat. While his microphone isn’t the clearest in terms of its sound quality, it’s easy to assume that he was disappointed not only by the loss, but also his reaction as well. At first glance, it would appear that the monitor was still in working order. After all, it didn’t look – at least from the viewers’ perspective – that he had thrown it very hard. However, WizardYensid later showed his audience the damage that had been caused in the heated moment. His monitor screen was completely broken. After showing that the damage had been done to the viewers of the stream, it was obvious that he was very disappointed about what happened. “Noooo!’ he yelled, before briefly showing where the controller was supposed to land. Fortnite victories might be few and far between for some players, but even then, is it really worth breaking your monitor in rage?

Fortnite streamer attempts mind-boggling rocket-ride snipe for victory – Dexerto
Fortnite streamer attempts mind-boggling rocket-ride snipe for victory Fortnite star Kerry ‘Mew’ Nguyen has again defied chance and gravity to land a one-in-a-million rocket-riding snipe to claim victory in Epic’s massive battle royale as he looked to earn the ‘Ultimate Battle Royale Experience’ achievement. The FaZe streamer has been trying to perfect the art of riding rockets in Fortnite over the past few months, taking the skill to higher and higher levels as he racked up Victory Royales. His latest snipe may have put all the rest to shame, however, as he used a teammate’s RPG to descend from the heavens, and land a near-impossible headshot on the match’s last opponent. Mew found himself hundreds of meters in the air, watching the final battle play out below him, and he quickly realized that he could put the finishing touches on his latest squad win with some gravity-defying flair. “Can you do me a huge favor and shoot an RPG up towards me?” the bold streamer asked his teammate, looking to get a little bit of extra height before his plunge towards the fight. “Just shoot an RPG at me so I can jump on it.” When his squad-mate obliged, Mew leaped from the safety of his sky-based structure onto the Halloween rocket, grabbing another 30 meters in the process. He dropped off the side of the rocket, and began plummeting towards his possible death. The FaZe superstar had other plans, however, and lined up his shot against the opponent hiding behind a barricade. With just meters left on his fall, Mew pulled the trigger, dealing 110 damage straight off the bat, and winning the game. Mews, who unlocked the achievement ‘The Ultimate Battle Royale Experience’ for killing someone while riding a rocket with his insane snipe, lost his mind as soon as he realized the bullet had struck gold. Read more: Leaked Harpoon Gun coming soon to Fortnite – “Let’s go, let’s f*cking go! Yes! Yoo! I’m so hype! Yes!” he yelled, clapping his hands and leaping out of his chair. “Wow, are you kidding me? Oh my god.” Considering Mew first earned his place in the prestigious FaZe organization with his skills with a sniper rifle, it’s no small surprise that he’s becoming better and better at rocket-ride snipes every single time he plays. Next time, he may have to go a little bigger with his tricks — if he’s playing squads again, what’s the chance he can wipe out a whole enemy team before he hits the ground?

Fortnite streamer MonsterDFace breaks down his incredibly expensive stream setup MonsterDfaceTwitch streamer MonsterDface has been producing incredible content for his verticals for five years, and he finally walked his community through the amazing PC setups that helps him make his content. The streamer’s community is in frequent awe during live segments because of the consistently clean audio and visuals, which prompted the content creator to upload a full breakdown of what he games with. In a YouTube video, MonsterDface made true on his earlier tease to breakdown his rig and peripherals that he uses when he goes live on Twitch revealing multiple setups costing four-figures each. This was first “dual pc” set upgrade stay humble :orange_heart: it took many years of hard work and dedication :movie_camera: pic.twitter.com/RX9QPmraVq — MonsterDface :snowflake:️ (@MonsterDface) January 13, 2019 The streamer has worked for numerous years to achieve the standing he has, but it also gave him time to collect the pieces that have culminated to an extraordinary streaming setup. “The overall spending if you’re talking about wires and batteries and all the little things in between…” MonsterDface said. “I’m close to about $30,000 invested as a Twitch broadcaster over the span of five years.” As one can imagine, a healthy chunk of that went into bulky PC’s that can broadcast at high qualities. He uses a dual-PC structure, one for gaming that costs a whopping $6000 and one to stream totalling about $4000. The streamer uses multiple microphones for various purposes such as the Blue Snowball for in-game comms, the Shure SM7B for recording, and the portable Countryman E6 to get even levels of audio at all times. Over his long journey as a content creator, MonsterDface has been able to amass a significant following along with the necessary tools to deliver the cleanent content to his community while still expecting to make some upgrades in 2019.

Fortnite Streamer Loses His Mind After His Significant Other Turns Off His Xbox Mid-Game – Dexerto
Fortnite Streamer Loses His Mind After His Significant Other Turns Off His Xbox Mid-Game One of the worst things that can happen in online gaming is when a game ends suddenly end prematurely and causes the player to the game they were playing. This can be even worse when someone turns off a player’s gaming console or PC on purpose, which can often lead to reactions that are full of rage and yelling. Such was the case for a streamer who’s name has not yet been identified but who has an Xbox gamertag that reads ‘Philets Mignon.’ A video has surfaced of the streamer playing Fortnite live on stream and, while he was in an end-game situation with only a few other players left alive, his significant other appears to reach over and intentionally shut off his Xbox. What happens after this is pretty much what one would expect in such a situation – the streamer gets up and begins yelling and cursing at the woman while throwing his chair around in anger. During the video, she explains the circumstances that led her to make such a bold decision: “I’ve been asking you to help me with this all day! All you do is run around and play that little game, where people run around with candy canes and lollipops in their hand.” It’s apparent and clear that the woman is not a fan of Fortnite and will very likely not be playing the popular Battle Royale game anytime soon. Perhaps this should be a lesson to all those who decide to play video games before they finish their chores and/or responsibilities, especially if their significant other is in the vicinity.

Fortnite streamer loses his mind after hitting greatest trickshot of all time – Dexerto
Fortnite streamer loses his mind after hitting greatest trickshot of all time Youtube: LocandroClaiming something as the greatest trickshot of all time has been done many times before, but this shot by Twitch streamer ‘HippieHabitat’ in Fortnite Battle Royale deserves a mention. Trickshotting is almost as old as FPS games themselves. From the days of Call of Duty montages, to players clipping their wackiest shots in Fortnite, it’s been a phenomenon in the gaming community for years. While the term greatest shot of all time gets thrown around a bit, this one shot by HippieHabitat has a real chance at living up to the term. As the game was approaching its end, and the Twitch streamer was in a duel to decide who got the victory royale, HippieHabitat did something that was near on impossible. Read more: Tfue find way to play Fortnite without Cloak – Floating around on his Driftboard, HippieHabitat managed to get some air over his opponent, dropping a flip on his board before throwing an Impulse Grenade down to get the enemy into the air with him. After the fancy antics to get his opponent disoriented, HippieHabitat hit a nasty quickscope to finish the deal. He made it look so easy, from the setup to the shot, which makes the whole sequence even more impressive, since it was clearly an incredibly difficult feat. Read more: How to get free Fortnite Psycho Bundle – While the snipe down for the victory was good, the reactions were even better. The afro-donning streamer got up out of his chair laughing. “Holy shit dude, what the f***,” was all he could muster in celebration, as all words probably left his head after such an incredible shot. Even people spectating him were in complete disbelief. Player ‘Kylesudds’ saw the shot live while spectating in-game and gasped when it landed. “Are you kidding me? This dude – I clipped it. Oh my god.” He tried to explain the shot to his friend, which was equally as amusing. “Dude, okay, HippieHabitat was trolling this dude, and he was on a snowboard. He flies up into the air, throws an impulse nade at him, launches him in mid-air and snipes him down with a Barrett 50cal. That dude had no idea what hit him.” The snipe was spectacular, the setup was impressive, and the reactions were priceless. If the best Fortnite trickshot was ever to be crowned, this shot would need to be in the discussion.

Fortnite star TSM Daequan announces big plans for 2020 – Dexerto
Fortnite star TSM Daequan announces big plans for 2020 Fortnite streamer Daequan ‘Daequan’ Loco has released a detailed statement regarding his future, following a spate of absences from streaming due to ill health and other personal reasons. Fans of TSM Daequan will have grown accustomed to daily YouTube uploads and regular, lengthy Twitch streams, in which the 25-year-old provided impressive Fortnite gameplay alongside hilarious commentary. However, across the latter parts of 2019, YouTube uploads grew to be irregular and Twitch streams were sporadic at best. The TSM star provided numerous explanations for these changes, citing ill health and other personal reasons. On December 6, he released a statement explaining his determination to make 2020 his year, and relaying his frustrations with how difficult he found the later stages of 2019. “I went through so much b.s. this year and I learned so much from it all but I hate how this year went for me,” his statement says. “Not only because of all the unfortunate things that happened. I’m disappointed in myself in terms of how much I streamed, I hate how I haven’t posted much to YouTube, Twitter, Instagram.” He explains that it was down to prioritizing his own physical and mental health, and the wellbeing of those around him, namely his girlfriend and editor, Exie. Whats been going on in my life, where I’ve been & what the future holds. Read: https://t.co/nMgqrH8oMv — Daequan (@DaequanLoco) December 6, 2019 Despite his struggles, Loco states that he will use the past year as motivation for 2020. “I’m slowly getting back into the swing of things as 2019 winds down,” the statement reads. “I will be in 100% full swing of things January 2020, and that year is gonna be MY YEAR.” Daequan describes himself as both a “hustler” and “grinder”; unsurprising given his record with daily uploads and consistent Twitch streams. “I just wanna thank all of you for being so patient and waiting on me to get my sh*t together,” he concludes. “You guys are a blessing to me and words can’t express how genuinely appreciative I am. I love you. Thanks again.” The video above was released in September, and saw Daequan go in-depth on a number of the issues he had been experiencing over 2019. Apart from a few uploads on Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, his YouTube channel has laid more or less dormant for the past 6 months. Here’s hoping we see Daequan back to his best during 2020.

Fortnite streamer changes channel name after being called out for “fat shaming” female gamer – Dexerto
Fortnite streamer changes channel name after being called out for “fat shaming” female gamer A Twitch streamer previously known as ‘TimmoTree’ had to completely change up his channel name after a video of him arguing with a young female gamer went viral. In the video, YouTuber ‘KCmo’ has his sister take the mic during some games of Fortnite, while he plays the game. In doing so, the pair fool streamers into thinking they are losing to a girl. TimmoTree was one of their selected targets, and the video shows him being eliminated twice during the match as he rages – and at one point appears to call the her “a fat girl on Fortnite”. You can watch the video below, with the TimmoTree section coming in at the 5:10 minute mark. This section of the video was later uploaded to the main Fortnite subreddit page, where it quickly garnered a lot of attention, and eventually TimmoTree himself learned he was the subject of the video. His Twitch channel then disappeared, and many believed that he had been banned for the comments directed towards the young female gamer (said to be 16 according to the video title). But TimmoTree responded, saying he had in fact just changed up his name: “Its me the guy in the video. I wasn’t trying to fat shame her at all. I feel they muted a good portion of the other people talking shit to me in the video which makes it really seem one sided as to what actually happened to me. They are intentionally going around provoking streamers in games to create content for people. To the girl I was rude to I am sorry for the things I said. to the guy that manipulated this video to his liking to gain views go fuck yourself. Anyways guys I’m out. I changed my twitch name its not down btw.” TimmoTree claims that the YouTuber and his friends (whose mic audio is not included in the final video) were being equally as abusive to him before he hit back, including comments directed at the girl. “He edited all his buddies out, and made this fake ass clip. Yes, I said fucked up things, but the shit they said to me first was equally bad, as I ignored more than half of it. He staged all of it to get more views. He is targeting streamers, him and his buddies then talk crazy shit, then edit out all of their mics and make it look as its not.” However, the YouTuber, KCmo, responded, and claimed that it was in fact just himself, and no one else involved: “False, I’ll upload the full match without any cuts first thing tomorrow. There wasn’t even anyone else talking. I’m uploading the first interaction we had with you. You’re claiming you were attacked, when you can see the mics of everyone in the lobby and the only people who were talking were you and my sister. The first thing out of your mouth is “you sound like you ate the girl” when my sister announces that she’s a girl and asks if that’s ok.” The newly uploaded video can be seen below, which claims to prove that no one else was talking to the streamer.

Fortnite Season 11 event crashes Twitch as millions watch ‘The End’ – Dexerto
Fortnite Season 11 event crashes Twitch as millions watch ‘The End’ Top livestreaming platform Twitch has crashed on Sunday, October 13, almost exactly as millions of viewers attempted to watch the Season 10 ending Fortnite event. With the event scheduled for 11AM PT / 2PM EST / 7PM BST, over one million fans tuned in to their favorite channels to watch the action. Or at least, they tried. Minutes after the scheduled event, Twitch began failing to show any stream content, with users met with a black screen instead. While some lucky users were still able to see the action, mainly if they had already been on prior to the crash, millions were unable to see a thing. Top Fortnite streamer Turner ‘Tfue’ Tenney had amassed over 300,000 viewers at the point of the event, although it’s unclear how many of them could actually see anything but a black screen with no audio. Twitch is now down Fortnite just broke Twitch https://t.co/QNKCDNUw7N — Rod Breslau (@Slasher) October 13, 2019 Although streams resumed soon after for many, clips and VOD’s remained invisible for a short time after. Oddly, it tied in nicely with the ‘blackout’ of Fortnite itself, who used a blackhole on social media to symbolize ‘The End’ of the game as we know it. Reports also suggest that rival site Mixer also crashed, which is of course home to top Fortnite streamer Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins. At its peak, the event hit over 6 million concurrent viewers across Twitch and YouTube – with the latter not suffering any major technical issues. The event left players scratching their heads though, as they were presented with nothing but a black hole in the game, and no world from developers Epic Games about what to expect next.

THump is now the third major Fortnite player to feel the wrath of Twitch’s ban hammer this week, after ‘Clix’ and ‘Khanada’ were taken off the platform for seven and three days respectively. Both Clix and Khanada were suspended for streaming with banned Twitch user ‘Zayn’. Clix’s ban was later shortened, with the streamer coming back to the platform after just 48 hours. Given that it’s THump’s first ban on the platform, it’s unlikely he will be out of action for long. It’s unknown how long he has been banned for, but has appealed the decision to get the strike wiped off his account. Dexerto has reached out to THump for comment.

Fortnite: Rapper 2 Milly hires lawyers to sue Epic Games for using his ‘Milly Rock’ dance as an emote – Dexerto
Fortnite: Rapper 2 Milly hires lawyers to sue Epic Games for using his ‘Milly Rock’ dance as an emote Popular rapper 2 Milly is looking to pursue legal action against Epic Games for using his ‘Milly Rock’ dance as part of an emote in Fortnite Battle Royale. The music artist has hired the legal services of Pierce Bainbridge Beck Price & Hecht LLP to sue Epic Games for using his dance without permission. The Milly Rock dance, known as ‘Swipe It’ in Fortnite, is an emote that players can purchase through the Item Shop and use in-game. The in-game emote is identical to the rapper’s iconic dance, and according to 2 Milly, Epic should have asked for permission and offered him compensation for using his dance. “I was never compensated by Epic Games for their use of the ‘Milly Rock.’ They never even asked for my permission,” he said in a statement. “I am thrilled to have David Hecht and his team at Pierce Bainbridge representing me to help right this wrong.” “This isn’t the first time that Epic Games has brazenly misappropriated the likeness of African-American talent. Our client Lenwood ‘Skip’ Hamilton is pursuing similar claims against Epic for use of his likeness in the popular ‘Cole Train’ character in the Gears of Wars video game franchise. Epic cannot be allowed to continue to take what does not belong to it.” These were the words of David L. Hecht, partner at Pierce Bainbridge, who will be representing 2 Milly in his pursuit of claims against Epic. 2 Milly originally voiced his concerns back in July, when he publicly criticized Epic for using his dance as an emote in Fortnite. Even back then he was open to the idea of pursuing legal action, which has finally come to fruition. “I just feel like the appropriate thing to do is compensate me with a fair amount for my addition to the game,” he told Kotaku at the time. The topic came up again two weeks ago, when 2 Milly again commented on the issue: “Everybody was just like ‘Yo your dance is in the game.’ They actually sell that particular move. It’s for purchase. That’s when I really was like… oh nah, this can’t go on too long.” The rapper is one of numerous popular music artists who have come out over the past few months to publicly denounce Epic’s methods, although he is the first one to actually pursue claims. Now that he has lawyered up, it may motivate others to do the same, including the likes of global music icon Chance the Rapper.

Fortnite returns as fastest growing Twitch Channel – Full List – Dexerto
Fortnite returns as fastest growing Twitch Channel – Full List Epic Games/TwitchFortnite has become the fastest-growing channel on Twitch, thanks largely to their black hole event that saw the end of Season X and brought in Fortnite Chapter 2. In the latter part of 2019, Fortnite had started to placate (at least by their standards) in terms of their follower growth, with streamers such as Nicholas ‘NickEh30’ Amyoony, Amouranth, and Kyle ‘Bugha’ Giersdorf and suspicious anomaly ‘AnimeFan_30’ growing fastest in September. Often you’ll see channels that aren’t necessarily the most followed at the top of the fastest-growing channels, simply because they already have so many followers as it is, especially with how much Fortnite blew up on Twitch in the last couple of years. However, with the launch of Fortnite Chapter 2, the official Fortnite Twitch channel has seen tremendous growth in October, seeing an increase of more than 450,000 new followers according to TwitchMetrics.net. Millions tuned in on Sunday, October 13 to watch the ‘black hole’ appear for ‘The End’ event – which even appeared to crash Twitch itself due to the influx of viewers. The competition between Fortnite and it’s nearest competition is pretty close, though: Spanish Fortnite streamer TheGrefg has amassed just over 440,000 new followers this month, whilst fellow Spanish variety streamer auronplay is in third place with nearly 270,000 new followers on the platform. Rounding out the most followed Twitch channels in October are well-known names such as Riot Games and Ali ‘SypherPK’ Hassan, as well as streamers more popular across the world such as Spanish variety streamer Rubius. Channels such as Tfue’s, shroud’s and Bugha’s somehow manage to keep picking up masses of followers despite their huge following already, a testament to their consistency and how entertaining they are. Fortnite has definitely seen somewhat of a revival thanks to the launch of Chapter 2, with some fans becoming alienated from the game in the final seasons of what is now being referred to as Chapter 1. Most interesting is how many of these followers would have gone to the Fortnite Twitch channel during the black hole event, which saw thousands of players tune in to watch a black hole on their screen – an event that lasted for over 36 hours.

Fortnite pro TSM Myth humiliated after trying CS:GO: “Close your eyes!” – Dexerto
Fortnite pro TSM Myth humiliated after trying CS:GO: “Close your eyes!” Twitch: TSM Myth/Valve CorpProfessional Fortnite Battle Royale player Ali “Myth” Kabbani was hilariously embarrassed by an opposition player, as he tried out Counter-Strike: Global Offensive for the first time on stream. Myth is best known as one of the early Fortnite personalities, often credited as an innovator of building with Epic Games’ battle royale. However, on June 22, after his failure to qualify for July’s Fortnite World Cup, Myth gave first-person shooter CS:GO a shot. It was clearly one of his first times playing the legendary shooter, as he hilariously struggled. Myth’s shortcomings were enjoyed by his watching audience, who are unaccustomed to seeing the Fortnite star out of his depth when it comes to gaming. Myth was playing on Mirage, using the Nova pump-action, when he failed to kill an enemy, despite taking multiple shots at them. After whiffing a number of shots, Myth jumps around a corner to challenge the enemy. The enemy then jumps at Myth, causing the TSM star to miss another close range shot. He is then humiliated by a close range knife kill: “Nooooo!” he laughed. “Noooo! I fucking suck, close your eyes, please!” Myth’s viewers could hardly believe what they were watching, as many began to rip into the Fortnite star and mock him for his miserably fail. “UR DOGSHIT!” exclaimed one viewer, while another simply referred to him as a “bot”. While undoubtedly entertaining, it’s fair to assume that Myth won’t be setting the competitive CS:GO scene alight, in the same way he has impacted Fortnite.

Fortnite pro Symfuhny goes undercover to hit back at toxic tweets – Dexerto
Fortnite pro Symfuhny goes undercover to hit back at toxic tweets NRG YouTubeFortnite pro Mason ‘Symfuhny’ Lanier went undercover to get back at Twitter trolls who made rude comments about his height and diet, among other things. Sypfuhny’s team, NRG, set up an alternative Twitter profile for the gamer, which he used to respond to the mean messages aimed at both himself and his streamer girlfriend Brooke ‘BrookeAB’. As someone who has been playing and streaming Fortnite for a long time, Symfuhny understands the kind of banter that gets shared on social media, and is all too aware that some of it comes at his expense. However, the 20-year-old talent can also meme with the best of them, so NRG encouraged him to let loose on his rowdy critics by going covert with a ‘Symfuhny fan’ account. One of his first retorts came after someone called out a “disgusting” video of him eating a bag of chopped onions. Having no real problem with it, he simply suggested the fan should try it out, jokingly calling the diet nothing less than “life-changing.” The comments on his diet continued, though, with the next interaction criticizing him for eating pizza without sauce. A baffled fan hilariously wrote, “What kind of possessed demon s**t did I just read?” Admittedly, Symfuhny was also against the idea when first introduced to it by BrookeAB, but was quickly converted after trying it a few times. Instead of hitting back at the Twitter user, the Fortnite pro opted to convert the fan by suggesting they try a sauceless pie to get on the same level. Despite his relatively upbeat replies, the tone quickly shifted when a Twitter user reaffirmed that Symf was a “beta” – something that he made sure wasn’t going to go unchecked. Symfuhny is the most alpha man in existence. U wouldn’t say that to him irl — symfuhny fan (@SymfuhnyF) January 20, 2020 Under the cover of his burner account, he jokingly responded, “Symfuhny is the most alpha man in existence. You wouldn’t say that to him in real life.” The streamer took the punches pretty well until a Photoshopped picture of him standing at chest-height to BrookeAB left him dumbfounded. “I am not that short,” he exclaimed before comparing his height with a production member. “I cannot believe this. You go on Google and type in ‘Symfuhny’s height,’ one will be like 5’2”, 5’3”, 5’4”, 4’11”, 4’9”, they got the whole meter stick.” He took the joke on the chin, since it was a fairly funny image alteration – and it was just one of the many jokes targeting his height. The entire video is hilarious, and shows that Symfuhny can take a joke pretty well, though some comments warranted a reply in his defense.

Twitch bans Fortnite pro Clix for “sexual conduct” in GTA RP stream – Dexerto
Twitch bans Fortnite pro Clix for “sexual conduct” in GTA RP stream ClixTwitch star and Professional Fortnite player Clix has been banned from the platform for “sexual conduct” during a recent GTA RP stream. Since 2018, Clix has worked his way up to becoming home of the most popular professional Fortnite players on the platform. The 17-year-old NRG member has amassed over five million followers on Twitch — and averages viewer counts of around 10,000 on every stream. On September 13, the Fortnite pro was banned from the platform due to “sexual conduct” while playing GTA RP. Clix hit with “sexual conduct” Twitch ban Visitors to Clix’s channel are simply met with the message “This channel is temporarily unavailable due to a violation of Twitch’s Community Guidelines or Terms of Service.” Just hours after his ban, Clix revealed the reason on his Twitter account. He said: “Crazy how I get a seven-day ban for same-sex “sexual conduct” fully clothed in GTA RP but a girl who knowingly streamed herself actually having sex in real life gets the same seven-day ban as me, lol bro I can’t…” Clix replied to his tweet with a clip from his recent stream, claiming the clip is the reason he got banned. Twitch does not comment on community guidelines violations to protect the privacy of users. Clix will have the ability to appeal his ban to potentially return to his stream quicker, but no matter what — fans will be able to see their favorite Fortnite Pro back on Twitch in just a week’s time.

Fortnite pro Clix’s swatter allegedly arrested – Dexerto
Fortnite pro Clix’s swatter allegedly arrested Streaming star and professional Fortnite player Cody “Clix” Conrad was swatted while competing in the Fortnite Champion Series on October 26 – and now, the perpetrator has allegedly been arrested. The streamer’s broadcast was interrupted by law enforcement in the midst of the tournament, with Clix announcing that police were at his home and that he had been swatted. Swatting, a dangerous prank meant to bring a large amount of armed officers to someone’s home by accusing them of a crime, has become an alarming reality for many online personalities – but it looks like Clix’s “swatter” didn’t get away with their crime. According to a Tweet posted by the pro on November 23, the person responsible for calling in the officers has been arrested, with Clix referring to the perp as a “kid.” “The kid that swatted me got arrested,” Clix Tweeted. “Karma hurts.” The Fortnite pro went live in a broadcast shortly thereafter, where he appeared to comment on the arrest during his stream. “Like, dude, just imagine ruining your life for a f***ing follow,” he said, although whether he was directly addressing the issue remains to be seen. Thankfully, no one was harmed during the swatting on October 26, and Clix’s team even managed to take the win during the debacle – but the frightening situation obviously shook up the gamer, who took to Twitter to speak out on the matter. “Swatting is so disgusting, what’s the point of it,” Clix wrote – and he isn’t the only streamer to have been targeted by swatters, by far. In fact, Fortnite star Kyle “Bugha” Giersdorf was swatted after taking the Fortnite World Cup in early August, also in the middle of a live stream – during which he announced in disbelief that he’d been targeted. Luckily for Bugha, police already knew of his online profile, and no one was hurt: but the reality of swatting continues to prove a danger for many online stars, with a Kansas man even being killed after a swatter gave police the wrong address in 2017. No matter the case, swatting is never the answer to taking out one’s frustrations on a streamer – nor is it a funny prank, as it can result in death for the victim of the “practical joke,” as the noted “Call of Duty” swatting resulted in tragedy for an innocent person.

Fortnite player goes viral ‘winning’ game on moving truck and the internet is split – Dexerto
Fortnite player goes viral ‘winning’ game on moving truck and the internet is split A Fortnite player has gone viral after “winning” a game while on the back of a moving truck, and the internet is split as to whether or not it’s real. A TikTok posted by user ‘messickblake’ on April 26 has done rounds on the internet, going viral and amassing millions of views so far. In the 23-second-long video, two men can be seen sitting in the back of a pickup truck driving on the highway — alongside what appears to be an 18-wheeler truck. With a projector pointing at the side of the truck, one of the men with a keyboard and mouse on his lap, appeared to be playing a game of Fortnite. “You got him, you got him, you got him,” one of the men can be heard repeating, as just one opponent remained in the lobby, who was ultimately taken down — giving them the victory royale. It’s fair to say the internet went back and forth debating whether or not the video was real, or if it was actually just a video playing on the projector. “Is this real?” one user challenged. “I have so many questions!” wrote another. Many were quick to note the implications of playing on the highway, such as how they had electricity or a solid internet connection to be able to play. “There’s no Wi-Fi, they could not play,” said one. “The internet connection is better then mine,” another joked. However, as it turns out, the TikTok is actually fake. In a YouTube video uploaded on April 28, the original poster Blake Messick explained exactly why and how they pulled it off. The creator had a laptop hooked up to the projector, which was playing a pre-recorded video — explaining the stunt was to promote a dynamic QR code, which he could use to sell to advertisers.

Pro player Aydan has Fortnite account banned live on stream – Dexerto
Pro player Aydan has Fortnite account banned live on stream Fortnite pro Aydan ‘Aydan’ Conrad had his account banned live on stream on September 30 for “exploiting”, after apparently ‘smurfing’ to get easier matches. Aydan is a professional player, signed to Ghost Gaming, who in addition to being a top competitor at the big tournaments, is also a very popular streamer, known for his controller skill in Fortnite. In an attempt to get “high kills” in the trios mode, Aydan went on an alt account, rather than his main profile, and invited subscribers to join his lobby. Aydan was playing in the Trios mode when his ban struck. These subscribers would then simply jump off the map at the start of the game, allowing Aydan to run through the enemy players by himself in an attempt to get high kills. He explained the method to his viewers, and soon enough had players in his lobby to help him out with his scheme. “So, I’m doing trio arena, I need two people that I can trust, preferably sub, that have the amount of points I have or less, to be in my lobby so that I can queue up for trios, and then you guys are just going to jump off the map right away.” Aydan managed to get a few games in using this method, while he was on his ‘Cpt. Aim Assist’ account, but was later handed an account ban, with the reason given as ‘exploiting’. The account was banned for 24 hours, but Aydan just laughed it off, seeing as his main account was still intact. After his new account was banned, he simply returned to his main Ghost Aydan account and carried on streaming and playing. Some have suggested that there was nothing wrong with this ‘smurfing’ due to the long queue times that occur when playing on a high-level account, as fellow pro player FaZe Jaomock pointed out. Aydan’s alternate account will soon be unbanned, although he may avoid using it again to ‘smurf’, as repeat bans may lead to an indefinite suspension.

Fortnite pro Aydan makes mom cry with truly life-changing gift – Dexerto
Fortnite pro Aydan makes mom cry with truly life-changing gift Twitch: AydanFortnite pro and popular streamer Aydan made a life-changing call to his mom while live on Twitch and the pair both ended up crying tears of happiness as a result, overjoyed at a gift he had got for her. Aydan rose to popularity in 2018 thanks to some major battles with Nick ‘NICKMERCS’ Kolcheff in Fortnite tournaments at the fabled Tilted Towers, and since then has made a steady living streaming and competing in the Battle Royale title. In an effort to give back, the streamer bought his mom a late Christmas present and shared the news with her during a January 22 stream. The emotional moment happened during a call with his mom, as she was away at one of her college classes. Aydan called up to share that he could give her a present now. Though she insisted she didn’t need anything as he has done enough for her, he still went on to let her know what the gift was. “It’s too late, mom, all of your school loans are already paid for,” he said. She tried to deny the possibility, saying it’s not a federal loan so they can’t be, but he assured his mom that he had spoken to the right people and it was all done. After the realization dawns on her that he had really paid off her loans, you can hear her start crying down the microphone, telling someone off-screen that “my son just paid off all my school.” While listening to his mom in tears on the other end of the line, Aydan clearly starts getting choked up too, likely knowing the extent of how much he’s helped her get an education without the financial strain that comes with it. After he clarifies that it could never have happened without all his viewers making everything possible, his mom left a message for them as well, saying: “I love them. Make sure to !sub and !prime,” a reference to helping Aydan get more subscribers, something which cracked him up through the tears. People will often say how great it feels to help those you love, and there are few examples better than this one, which makes for emotional viewing whether you’re a fan of the streamer or not.

Fortnite: Fan recreates Ninja’s New Year’s Eve flossing fail in game – Dexerto
Fortnite: Fan recreates Ninja’s New Year’s Eve flossing fail in game Twitch’s New Years Event featuring Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins and other prominent streamers was surely the biggest gaming event to usher in 2019, and now Fortnite’s biggest streamer had his biggest fail immortalized through the game. During the night’s celebration, Ninja wanted to get a Times Square crowd into the Flossing spirit, as he tried to rally the New Year’s Eve attendees to perform the viral dance to a spectacularly poor result. Although the Twitch megastar laughed it off on Twitter, it didn’t stop the motivated streamer and Twitter user CracklyPeach to recreate the moment within Fortnite dubbed with the New Year’s Event broadcast audio. The 12-second homage somehow captures most of the cringe-filled effect produced by the wayward decision to hype up the Floss in one of the biggest events of the year. “On the main stage of Times Square, Ninja’s goal of getting 1 million New Yorkers to do the Floss dance comes just short by 999,995,” CracklyPeach said in the video’s post. The video has less than a dozen participants compared to the hundreds in Times Square, but the comedy is amplified with what appears to be only one person performing the Floss in the recreation. @Slasher On the main stage of Times Sq, @Ninja’s goal of getting one million New Yorkers to do the floss dance comes just short by 999,995 #flossforninja #Fortnite pic.twitter.com/suHpvxv5xK — CracklyPeach (@CracklyPeach) January 1, 2019 As the audio plays, a backshot of The Reaper skin, who plays Ninja in the skit, looks down at the unresponsive crowd. But it’s the stillness of the shot, the rambunctious music, and the waning hope in the voice of the streamer that ties the video together. Although Ninja had a hard time persuading the lofty crowd in joining the routine, the Fortnite recreation definitely hit its mark to capture all the feelings that the unfortunate moment produced.

Fortnite org One Percent reveals insane multi-million dollar team house – Dexerto
Fortnite org One Percent reveals insane multi-million dollar team house YouTube: One Percent[jwplayer BbiWbi4j]New Fortnite organization One Percent, founded by ex-Luminosity Gaming content creators, have revealed their insane multi-million dollar team house, including a wine cellar, huge swimming pool, and incredible retro games machines. After parting ways with Luminosity Gaming at the tail end of June 2020, Nicks, Kiwiz, Randumb, and Formula joined forces with Aeolus and Razz to create One Percent, a group of content creators looking to build something new to rival some of the top teams in the world. Now, they’ve revealed their insane new multi-million dollar mansion from which they’re going to create content – and it is genuinely mind-blowing. Opening the video by saying that they’ve purchased the house out of their own pockets with no sponsor needed, Formula and co. stand in front of a huge mansion complete with supercars parked comfortably outside. When they head indoors, though, it gets even better. There’s a huge 100+-bottle display cabinet filled with wine bottles, and a grand piano once owned by Frank Sinatra tucked in a snug corner of the living room, which feels more like something you would find in Leonardo DiCaprio’s home, not with a group of gamers. One of the most insane parts of the house, though, has to be the backyard, which features a hot tub, a huge seating area, and an even bigger swimming pool complete with lighting and fountains. There’s also a fun “gaming room,” which has air hockey and foosball tables as well as a Kobe Bryant pinball machine that is allegedly worth “a lot of money.” There’s also a theater room, a gym that appears to be a work-in-progress, and a rooftop balcony for some nice golf course views. Is the house a bit excessive just to play Fortnite out of? Probably, but there are very few people that would say no to catching Victory Royales in this ridiculously impressive mansion.

Forsen’s Twitch chat uses perfect cheat for Who Wants To Be A Millionaire – Dexerto
Forsen’s Twitch chat uses perfect cheat for Who Wants To Be A Millionaire ViagamePopular streamer Forsen recreated a famous Who Wants To Be A Millionaire moment, using Twitch chat to “cheat” his way to victory. Best known for competing in Hearthstone and streaming various games, Forsen has established himself as a top Twitch streamer in recent years, with 1.6 million followers. Who Wants To Be A Millionaire is a quiz game show. Players answer a series of 15 multiple-choice questions, increasing in difficulty, with a chance at winning $1,000,000. Forsen attempted to tackle the quiz show himself, in video game fashion. The Swedish creator boasts a passionate fanbase, and they hilariously helped him take on the game show with some underhand tactics. Forsen’s Twitch chat recreates infamous cough cheating scandal In 2001, Charles Ingram correctly answered all 15 questions on Who Wants To Be A Millionaire. However, he was denied the winnings after cheating allegations surfaced. Ingram’s friend Tecwen Whittock and wife Diana signaled from the crowd with a cough if an answer was correct. For all 15 questions, Ingram said every question out loud, followed by a cough or no cough. During the 15th and final question, suspicions were raised over the method. Ingram was convicted on a single count of procuring the execution of a valuable security deception in court. While Forsen was playing the video game version, someone donated a cough sound while the streamer was answering a question – just like Ingram did. Forsen burst into laughter after hearing the cough and said, “That is so funny. Very funny sir, especially with the pause there.” The streamer mentioned watching a video about Ingram and his cheating scandal a few days prior, making him all too aware of what was going on.

Fortnite star Bugha takes over LA Gladiators HQ in classic SportsCenter parody – Dexerto
Fortnite star Bugha takes over LA Gladiators HQ in classic SportsCenter parody Epic Games / Gladiators – YTFortnite Battle Royale World Cup solos champion Kyle ‘Bugha’ Giersdorf took the headquarters of Overwatch League team Los Angeles Gladiators in a hilarious parody of ESPN’s ‘This is SportsCenter’ commercials. Viewers of ESPN will know the iconic This is SportsCenter ads, which feature stars from the NFL, NBA, and MLB touring through the ESPN offices and partaking in random day-to-day activities as if they worked there. Now, esports has gotten its own version, involving both the Gladiators and Sentinels, two teams that are under the P1 Esports banner In a video shared on September 10, the Overwatch team poked fun at their Fortnite compatriots, saying “the Sentinels won the World Cup and now they think they run the office.” Read more: Who is Bugha? – Bugha took over the streaming computer in the offices while Gladiators flex João Pedro ‘Hydration’ Goes Telles watched on, begging to go live. The Fortnite superstar didn’t budge, leaving Hydration computer-less and on the hunt for a snack. The @Sentinels won the World Cup and now they think they run the office. pic.twitter.com/HQXWUpPN2N — Los Angeles Gladiators (@LAGladiators) September 10, 2019 Players like Owen ‘Animal’ Wright, Benjamin ‘BigGoose’ Isohanni, and Gye ‘rOar’ Chang-hoon all made cameos on Hydration’s tour of the offices, doing completely random things. Read more: How Ceice and Elevate spent WC winnings – There was even a small shoutout to Gladiators Legion off-tank player and popular Twitch personality Felix ‘xQc’ Lengyel, with balloons hanging in the back of the frame behind BigGoose spelling out his name. The skit featured a crossover between Fortnite and Overwatch too, as the Gladiators were sharing shields around with the Sentinels, while Animal looked to break down the kitchen wall with a Fortnite Pickaxe. In the end, Hydration only ended up getting a drink, because everyone else had polished off the pizza. Looking dejected, the star player went back towards the streaming room, waiting for Bugha’s 10 minutes to finally be up. This parody isn’t the first SportsCenter-inspired video the OWL team has done, as they have an entire series of clips based on having their players do mundane work around the headquarters, such as the one below. However, in the P1 Esports headquarters, everyone knows who is the real boss. Bugha has brought fame and fortune to the Sentinels brand after finishing in first place of the Solos tournament at the $30 million Fortnite World Cup in July, securing a whopping $3 million prize and unprecedented glory.

Forsen rages at Overwatch after getting his DPS rank – Dexerto
Forsen rages at Overwatch after getting his DPS rank Blizzard EntertainmentWhile Swedish Twitch streamer Sebastian Hans ‘Forsen’ Eli Fors is made a name for himself playing StarCraft, he probably won’t be going pro in Overwatch, at least not in this meta. On September 16, the ever-popular streamer did his five DPS placement matches in Overwatch and tried desperately to get value out of heroes like Tracer and Soldier 76 even against double barriers, which can shut down hitscan weapons with ease. Things were not looking good for the pro gamer. At one point, during a Payload round on Watchpoint Gibraltar, Forsen told his stream he had “100% awareness” only to get punched into a wall and killed by an enemy Doomfist seconds later. He would then complete his placements with a loss on Lijang Tower before leaving the game and checking his rank. Read More: Symmetra earns ‘worst’ Play of the Game ever – The speechless Swede looked on and let out an embarrassed laugh upon seeing his Platinum rank with an SR of 2713, nearly 200 SR lower than his support account. “This game f**king sucks,” Forsen said in an almost Angry Video Game Nerd fashion. “No f**king skill. Every skilled character sucks in this f**king meta.” It’s not like Forsen is bad at first person shooters either. The 28-year-old has led his team to victory in a Player Unknown’s Battlegrounds Twitch Rivals Invitational tournament in 2018. Forsen isn’t the only player to complain about the current stage of Overwatch. Former pro Felix ‘xQc’ Lengyel has ranted about how the game is the worst it’s ever been. Meanwhile, Dallas Fuel hitscan Timo ‘Taimou’ Kettunen and Damon ‘Apply’ Conti think Sigma and all the game’s shields are very frustrating. Symmetra can be an annoying hero to play against with her beam weapon and turrets. Shields have dominated the Overwatch League playoffs with Orisa and Sigma getting played constantly resulting in Doomfist in turn becoming a must pick because he doesn’t need to worry about barriers to do damage. For hitscan players, Overwatch is looking less and less like a first person shooter when it comes to meta.

Forsen Suggests That Dr DisRespect is a Hypocrite for Getting Upset About the ‘Transparency’ Emotes – Dexerto
Forsen Suggests That Dr DisRespect is a Hypocrite for Getting Upset About the ‘Transparency’ Emotes The drama surrounding the ‘transparency’ emotes used by various streamers to poke fun at Dr DisRespect caught one of the people behind it by surprise. Guy Beahm, aka Dr DisRespect, is one of the biggest names on the Twitch streaming platform and rose to fame throughout 2016 and 2017, before announcing he had been unfaithful to his wife during a short but emotional broadcast. Returning in February 2018, he briefly broke the record for the most concurrent viewers for an individual’s streamed channel, when 383,000 tuned in for his comeback. Despite admitting to his infidelity in such a public light, the Doc has refused to comment on it since and consistently acts strange when people in his chat bring it up, or other streamers mock him. This situation reached boiling point when the Doc went on a rant about an emote used by popular Swedish personality, Forsen, who poked fun at the ‘transparency’ element of the infidelity. On May 3rd the emote was eventually removed by Twitch for what is believed to be a breach of their terms of service, which forbids streamers from targeting or harassing other content creators. This move surprised Forsen, who spoke about the subject on stream, claiming he was surprised the Doc was even bothered about it considering his persona to trash talk others. “I was a bit surprised he got that upset over the pixels, when he’s known for trash talking 90% of the big streamers on this platform. That was his thing, calling Summit big head, and whatever he called the other big battle royale streamers. So I’m a little surprised.”

Forsen loses it after wrestling bizarre created fighter in indie game – Dexerto
Forsen loses it after wrestling bizarre created fighter in indie game Forsen/Steam/VICO Game StudioSwedish Twitch streamer Sebastian Hans ‘Forsen’ Eli Fors squared off against quite the opponent while trying out CHIKARA: Action Arcade Wrestling on October 15. The entertainer, who made a name for himself playing StarCraft, was getting the hang of the new pro-wrestling game and beat the majority of players he faced online. After selecting his character and loading into a new match, Forsen would come face-to-face with his strangest foe yet and could hardly contain himself after seeing his opponent. The bizarre created character showed off a massive eyeball on his chest alongside a very phallic-looking object attached to his torso with fireworks shooting out of it. Additionally, the ‘thing’ was also wearing a cape of sorts. Most strangely, however, was the Pepe emote-themed birthday hat covering the abomination’s head. Overall, the creature more closely resembled something out of a Power Rangers adult film parody than a wrestling game. When the Swedish star saw what he was up against he nearly burst out laughing, even as the match picked up steam. “What the f**k,” he chuckled. “What is all that cape?” As the battle waged, Forsen got the upper hand and deleted most of his opponent’s health before attempting to perform some sort of finishing move by trying to go to the top rope. “Now prepare yourself for the ultimate setup,” he joked, as his character slid off the turnbuckle a couple times. Eventually, however, he was able to hit his high-flying move and proceeded to stomp on the downed creature. Finally, Forsen pinned the disturbing-looking fiend to get the win as he broke into laughter once again. According to the game’s Steam page, the newly-released title has some crazy customization options that allow for fighters such as the one Forsen fought to exist such as “body morphing, texture uploads, face mapping, move set assignments and physics-based accessories”. “Create fearsome monsters, favorite super heroes, rasslin’ icons… go crazy with the creative freedom of the Wrestle Factory!” the description states. As it turns out, they weren’t kidding.

Forsen reacts to NymN’s ban for streaming TwitchCon partner lounge [UPDATE] – Dexerto
Forsen reacts to NymN’s ban for streaming TwitchCon partner lounge [UPDATE] Forsen / NymN TwitchTwitch streamer ‘NymN’ received a ban from the platform for a TwitchCon infraction, and Sebastian ‘Forsen’ Fors was astonished, to say the least. Update on October 2 at 3:00 pm PST After giving an appeal NymN revealed that his original 2-week ban has been reduced to just seven days. Update on my ban: I sent in an appeal and Twitch has agreed to the reduce the suspension to 7 calendar days. It is still a long time to be without my stream and I will miss it dearly, but it’s a lot better than 14 days! Thank you SO much for all your support — NymN (@nymnion) October 2, 2019 The streamer said he’ll be working on his other verticals such as his merch line and YouTube channel while offline at Twitch. Original story as follows… Streamers from across the globe traveled to TwitchCon for the September 27 weekend to mingle with the fans who typically flood their channel’s chat – but the conference’s organizers had areas off-limits for recording, so streamers could find repose in the weekend’s madness. Unfortunately, in a scramble to get across the convention’s many areas, NymN found himself briefly recording in one of those restricted zones – which quickly got him into hot water with Twitch. The fault is definitely on me, though 14 days feels like a very long time for this especially considering I have never been suspended before. I’ll try to appeal so keep your fingers crossed. Currently texting from San Francisco airport I’ll update you guys more when I get home:lovestruck_cat: — NymN (@nymnion) October 1, 2019 While most can agree that NymN did violate the rule (albeit on accident), nearly everyone was surprised to learn the length of his ban from the site. During his October 2 stream, Forsen was in the beginning phases of his broadcast when he was made aware of NymN’s ban. Since he hadn’t seen TwitchCon streams, he was learning of the ban live. “I didn’t watch any TwitchCon, so I guess it’s something from TwitchCon,” Forsen surmised before his Chat told him how long the ban was for. “‘Streaming 15 seconds in Partner Lounge…’ How long was it – 2 weeks?!” The streamer was instantly taken aback by the lengthy ban even after he had just explained that, “15 seconds is not a lot. But it’s like – show a d*** for three seconds it’s over, in a 6-hour stream.” Forsen later said that in his streaming career’s many bans, he hadn’t even received a 2-week suspension from Twitch. Then he learned that it was actually NymN’s first ban, calling the punishment’s duration “weird” and thought that previous warnings must have figured into the calculations. Although he also admitted that the 2-week suspension could have been NymN’s “RNG” luck, depending on which of Twitch’s ban moderators took his case. NymN is one of Twitch’s more laid-back streamers who exploded in popularity for his Minecraft streams. Since he has never been banned from the platform before, many figure that an appeal could server to reduce the suspension’s length.

Forsen finally unbanned on Twitch after two week suspension – Dexerto
Forsen finally unbanned on Twitch after two week suspension ViagameUPDATE May 22, 12:17PM PST: Forsen has now been unbanned on Twitch following his two week suspension, so you can probably expect him to return to your screens very soon. ✅ Twitch Partner “”forsen”” (@forsen) has been unbanned after 2 weeks, 57 minutes, 58 seconds! ✅https://t.co/WBK1dm8L1c#twitch #unban #partner #twitchpartner ✋🏼 — StreamerBans (@StreamerBans) May 22, 2020 Original article continues below… Popular streamer Sebastian ‘Forsen’ Fors has finally revealed the reason why Twitch banned him for a whopping two weeks. News broke on May 8 that the Swede had been suspended on the platform, but no one had any idea why he had been banned, nor how long he would be gone for. However, many correctly believed it may have been due to his behavior while playing Riot’s new FPS Valorant. Taking to Twitter on May 11, a full three days after being suspended, the streamer finally addressed the situation. “Banned for 2 weeks,” Forsen revealed. As for why, the former StarCraft pro claimed it was for calling players “ret**ded Russians” in Valorant. Rather than accept the ban and move on, the streamer added that instead of calling his teammates “ret**ded Russians,” he should have called them “ret**ded people who cant participate in voice comms in Valorant due to legal reasons.” Currently, Valorant does not let Russian players use voice communication in the game. Banned for 2 weeks for saying retarded russians instead of retarded “”people who cant participate in voice comms in valorant due to legal reasons””. I guess I have some more time to beat up my half russian siblings now. nice — Sebastian Fors (@Forsen) May 11, 2020 “I guess I have some more time to beat up my half Russian siblings now. Nice,” he sarcastically concluded. Read More: Amouranth banned for third time on Twitch – This is Forsen’s first ban since 2016, so for the most part, the Swede has managed to stay out of trouble up until this point. Many fellow Twitch stars found the ban to be extremely harsh. IRL streamer Jake’N’Bake said it was “nuts,” while NymN called it “crazy” and urged the streamer to appeal the ban. Fans of Forsen seemed to agree. “If this is the full story, then totally unjustified,” user ‘aquanxck’ wrote. “Should’ve flashed nipple instead, Forsen. That’s just a 1 day ban,” joked SoHyp3d, referencing Alinity’s controversially short ban back in April. It’s unclear if Forsen will return to streaming right when his ban is up, but for the time being, the popular streamer will have some time to hone his Valorant skills without an audience.

Forsen left stunned after “finding” summit1g in indie game – Dexerto
Forsen left stunned after “finding” summit1g in indie game Forsen/summit1gSebastian ‘Forsen’ Fors was streaming Alfred Hitchcock – Vertigo on Twitch when one character looked eerily similar to fellow streamer Jaryd ‘summit1g’ Lazar which caused him to crack up with laughter. Alfred Hitchcock – Vertigo is a new adventure game loosely based on the movie from the famous film auteur. Twitch streamer Forsen was playing through the game along with his chat when one character came along that looked hilariously alike to another popular Twitch streamer. Forsen “finds” summit1g in-game The former Hearthstone pro was playing Vertigo on December 18 when the incident occurred. A cutscene in Vertigo showed a cop investigating a crime scene where a vehicle had flipped over. When the officer’s face was revealed, Forsen cracked up and said: “Summit?!” He and his chat cracked up as the officer did strikingly resemble streamer summit1g. The hilarious clip made its way over to summit1g’s channel, where he watched it on stream. He watched the clip and said, “What the f**k is this? What the f**k!” Summit denied the allegations that he made his way into the new Alfred Hitchcock-inspired game, and finished the clip saying: “That’s not me!” Tons of Summit’s viewers filled the chat shouting “Doppelganger!”, and “That’s legit you.” Summit didn’t take any offense to being compared to the character and shared a big laugh about the whole thing.

Unlucky. — Sebastian Fors (@Forsen) November 27, 2020 This isn’t his first time facing a suspension from the platform. Sebastian ‘Forsen’ Fors was banned from Twitch for the second time on September 10, following his previous ban in May. He wasn’t given a detailed explanation behind his account ban, but once unbanned, Forsen revealed more information. During his September 12 stream, Forsen explained he believes he was suspended for using a homophobic slur, but says it was ‘misheard’ because of his Swedish accent. It isn’t clear how long “indefinite” means – it could be a week, 30 days, or longer.

Forsen finally conquers Jump King after epic rage-quit days earlier – Dexerto
Forsen finally conquers Jump King after epic rage-quit days earlier Many streamers have been returning to Jump King thanks to some new DLC, and they have had a lot of trouble with it, but Sebastian ‘Forsen’ Fors has finally been able to conquer the beast. Jump King has been a hit on Twitch because viewers have a lot of interest in watching their favorite streamers become extremely frustrated. On the other hand, once players are able to get over the hump and beat the game, there’s no greater feeling than that. Even though it could take weeks to do, many streamers, like Forsen, have stuck with it. What makes the victory even sweeter is that Forsen came close to abandoning the game entirely, but made the decision to keep on going, and a few days later he was able to beat it. It was a very tough decision to make as he was clearly demoralized, but it all paid off in the end. Jump King is arguably the most frustrating game you can play on stream because it’s so easy to have hours of progress wiped out from just a simple mistake. After hours and hours of time get put into the game, eventually, Forsen was able to summon the skill to progress all the way to the top. As we’ve seen with streamers before, such as xQc, reaching the pinnacle of Jump King is a very draining moment. When he reached the last jump before the top, he took a moment and collected himself before finally leaping up to the summit. He let out several victory cheers before proclaiming Jump King was an “easy game.” Obviously, anybody who has played the game before will tell you that Jump King is far from an easy game. Many players will quit long before they reach the top, so you can definitely earn your fair share of bragging rights by completing it. Now, streamers will just have to wait for another frustrating game like this to release so they have another game to play that will keep viewers engaged. We’re sure there’s a developer out there cooking up something as we speak. Perhaps all it’ll take is another Jump King DLC to release.

Forsen banned on Twitch and nobody knows why – Dexerto
Forsen banned on Twitch and nobody knows why Blizzard EntertainmentOne of Twitch’s most popular streamers, Sebastian ‘Forsen’ Fors, was banned on May 8, with the reason for the suspension unknown at the time of writing. A veteran streamer on Twitch, he recently turned his attention fully to Valorant, Riot’s new FPS game, and has been dominating the category with his tens of thousands of viewers on any given stream. However, his channel is no longer available as of May 9, with fans now greeted with a blank error page due to his suspension. It’s unclear what the cause of the ban is, or how long it will last. Forsen himself hasn’t spoken about the suspension yet, his first since 2016. Twitch most often bans users for violating their community guidelines, which inform broadcasters’ behavior on everything from toxicity to suggestive content. Considering his stream was almost entirely Valorant ranked play in recent days, we can rule out most potential violations. Some have suggested that toxic in-game voice chat could be the cause. Suspensions typically last from 24 hours, at the shortest, and can be as long as 30 days, but usually only for very serious violations or if it is a repeat violation from the same streamer. When will Forsen be back? With Forsen’s last ban now over four years ago, it’s likely that suspension this time will last between 24 hours and three days. Seven-day suspensions are also sometimes handed down, but it would be surprising if the ban lasted even this long. Twitch does not comment on community guideline violations, to respect the privacy of users, so fans won’t know the exact suspension time or reason unless Forsen himself decides to share it publicly. With over 1.2 million followers on the platform, there will be a lot of Forsen fans waiting patiently for his return. Although not typically known for playing FPS games, he had certainly hit his stride with the Valorant closed beta. Riot Games’ use of Twitch drops to hand out beta access had also given streamers a viewership boost, Forsen included. It will no doubt be business as usual when he returns.

Forsen banned on Twitch for second time in 2020 – Dexerto
Forsen banned on Twitch for second time in 2020 Twitch: ForsenUPDATE 9/10/2020: After 24 hours, Forsen has been unbanned from Twitch. While the reasons for his suspension are still unknown, it seems his ban from the site was rather short, which spells good news for fans. ✅ Twitch Partner “”forsen”” (@forsen) has been unbanned after 1 day, 1 hour and 14 minutes! ✅https://t.co/WBK1dm8L1c#twitch #unban #partner #twitchpartner 👼 — StreamerBans (@StreamerBans) September 11, 2020 Original story below: Popular Twitch variety streamer and former esports pro Sebastian ‘Forsen’ Fors has been banned on Twitch. The detail surrounding the Swede’s ban remain unclear. You might not have watched Forsen, but your Twitch experience was likely influenced by him. The Swede has spawned many memes and trends that live on until this day, including the ForsenCD and monkaS emotes. However, he might soon be wiped from the platform entirely. Forsen was handed down a Twitch ban on September 9, and it’s unclear if he will return. ❌ Twitch Partner “”forsen”” (@forsen) has been banned! ❌https://t.co/WBK1dm8L1c#twitch #ban #secondban #partner #twitchpartner 🌧 — StreamerBans (@StreamerBans) September 9, 2020 Why was Forsen banned on Twitch? As we mentioned at the top, the reasonings behind Forsen’s ban remain unclear at this point in time. The streamer has yet to speak out about his suspension, and Twitch doesn’t comment on individual streamer suspensions publicly. What we do know is that the ban came through after Forsen went offline on September 9. It could have potentially been for something he did on that stream, although Twitch has often handed down judgment late in some instances. The length of Forsen’s ban is also unknown. Without details about how the Swede got banned, there’s no way of estimating how long he will be suspended for. Forsen was banned earlier in 2020 for two weeks after going on a rant while playing a Valorant game. He reportedly broke Twitch’s community guidelines for “hateful conduct.” Who is Forsen? Forsen is one of the most popular variety streamers on the platform, broadcasting himself playing a number of different games to the world. He is a member of Cloud9’s stream team, having joined the organization back in April 2017. He has over 1.3 million followers on the platform, making him one of the top 100 streamers on the platform. He also averages around 9,000 concurrent viewers every time he goes live. Before he got his big break on Twitch, Forsen was a professional Starcraft II and Hearthstone player. He was active in Starcraft II from 2010 to 2014 before making the swap to Blizzard’s card game. He retired from professional play in 2017 to start streaming full time. We will update you once more information arises.

Former YouTuber Shane Dawson says his career is “over” – Dexerto
Former YouTuber Shane Dawson says his career is “over” YouTube: Ryland AdamsDuring a surprise appearance in fiancé Ryland Adams’ vlog, Shane Dawson made reference to his troubled year following the resurfacing of some of his old YouTube content. Appearing towards the end of Ryland’s video, the two can be seen out on a shopping trip. Eyeing up a large plastic red horse, Shane quipped: “I know that I’m weird, and I know that my career’s over and I know I’m that crazy guy who buys weird toys.” Several fans were unimpressed with Dawson’s blasé attitude toward his past controversies. As one former fan on Twitter put it: “The sh*t he’s done is really serious. And yet… He’s essentially just laughing it off. I used to be a big fan of him. Now I feel kinda… Shamed almost.” Agreeing with these sentiments, a second Twitter user added: “Why is he acting like what he did was quirky and funny. He did some seriously f***ed up stuff…” Another fan questioned Shane’s intentions with this comment, accusing him of seeking pity: “Maybe it’s just me, but this feels EXTREMELY manipulative. I can picture him writing out these pity talking points, & then, writing a list of possible responses that he thinks his words with illicit from actual empathetic people.” Shane Dawson’s lucrative YouTube empire came crumbling down in July 2020, where the backlash to an apology video he posted led to some of his old skits resurfacing, which included content like blackface, racial stereotyping, and other topics that don’t fly as comedy in 2021. Although he has posted sporadically on his Instagram since the backlash, he has largely remained silent on other social media. Shane has most recently been called out by Trisha Paytas, a fellow YouTuber and his former friend of twelve years. Recounting a trip to Las Vegas with “mean girls” Jeffree Star and HairByJay, Paytas revealed in a YouTube video that she was body-shamed and ridiculed throughout the trip. With Dawson staying predictably silent on the drama, Paytas criticized him for constantly “promoting” Star and, allegedly, speaking poorly about Trisha himself. “This is someone I’ve never lied to and never said one bad word about for twelve years,” she said. “I find out every day, more and more nasty s**t he said about me.” She added: “It just goes to show what horrible human beings they are. They think that if they don’t address stuff, it just goes away. And that is the truth because a lot of people won’t have to take accountability for their actions and for being a s**tty person because the internet forgets stuff and the drama moves on.”

Formula 1 star Lando Norris drops cheeky Twitch promo at US Grand Prix – Dexerto
Formula 1 star Lando Norris drops cheeky Twitch promo at US Grand Prix Formula 1 racing superstar Lando Norris took a chance to do a bit of cheeky self-promotion following his seventh-place finish at the United States Grand Prix on Sunday, asking fans to subscribe to his Twitch Prime in his post-match interview. McLaren’s golden boy has been wowing Formula 1 fans out on the grid this season as the historic English racing team defied expectations to keep pace with the motor sport’s big boys like Red Bull Racing and Ferrari, and out-shine French giants Renault. While Norris has been turning heads in his rookie year in the twenty-driver circuit, the 19-year-old prodigy hasn’t just been putting his pedal to the metal in his million-dollar car — he’s also been building quite the following streaming iRacing on Twitch. The UK-born star already boasts more than 150,000 followers on the streaming platform, where he often streams simulation races alongside other rising racing stars like seven-time F1 winner Max Verstappen, and F4 champion Max Fewtrell. That hasn’t stopped him from dropping a cheeky advertisement for his Twitch Prime subscription live on Formula 1’s official coverage, however, as he broke down his performance at the Circuit of the Americas in Texas. Norris was speaking to F1’s media presenter Will Buxton, and IndyCar Series competitor Conor Daly, when Daly brought up that Norris had been making a name for himself on Twitch as well as on the racing grid. Norris agreed, and saw the opportunity to score some subs. “Subscribe to Twitch Prime and all that stuff!” Norris said at the media desk, before Daly added he also “lowkey” had a profile on the website, but that the McLaren star’s fame might have earned him a few more followers. “You’re more famous than I am, but whatever.” Can’t see the below clip on mobile? Watch here. Norris is no stranger to spruiking his Twitch channel where he can, and has admitted in the past that if he hadn’t found himself behind the wheel of an F1 car every few weekends, he would have been a full-time streamer. The young star has also been a major advocate for driving sims, and believes more and more drivers entering the grid will have been gamers when they were younger, before making the leap into the 200+ kilometer per hour speeds of Formula 1. “As far back as I can remember, I must have been four years old and my Dad use to have Gran Turismo 3, and that was the first time I started playing a racing game,” Norris told PlanetF1 earlier this year, and suggested sim-racing can prepare gamers for the real thing. “A lot of things we do on the simulator correlate to real life, because you are able to pick up on these places whereas a driver you are not as strong and already started working on them before you have even driven the track.” For now, however, Norris has two more races to finish in the 2019 season — Brazil on November 17 and Abu Dhabi on December 1 — before he can settle back into the Twitch grind for all his potential new subscribers. Considering racing great Lewis Hamilton just clinched his sixth world championship at the US race, however, and McLaren is currently 38 points ahead of best-of-the-rest rivals Renault, no one would blame Norris if he added a few extra broadcasts to his streaming schedule.

Formula mocked for bizarre newbie Twitch streamer advice “Sell your bed” – Dexerto
Formula mocked for bizarre newbie Twitch streamer advice “Sell your bed” Instagram/akaformulaFinding funds to invest into streaming on Twitch isn’t easy for everyone and can be extremely stressful, but Luminosity Gaming’s Formula thinks he found the ideal solution. Often, streaming starts off as something gamers do for fun on the side and evolves into something bigger. Eventually, there could come a point when the streamer wants to improve their broadcast quality with new equipment to enhance the viewing experience and draw in bigger audiences. The problem is this can be very expensive and for streamers just starting out, not yet making a living from subscribers or Twitch ads, this can be a nightmare. How can one afford to live and upgrade their broadcasts at the same time? 600Luminosity Gaming streamer Formula thinks anyone can do it if they follow his guide. With equipment costing an arm and a leg, the accomplished star presented a list of lifestyle changes aspiring streamers need to make if they want to get ahead. yes you can obviously get a job if you want to, but then you’re giving up time creating content/streaming which could hold you back — LG Formula (@Formula) September 9, 2019 The Fortnite star explained that Twitch newbies should sell their bed and sleep on an air mattress, stop eating out, eat only cheap ramen and stick to equipment that you can afford. He literally told his followers to “live like shit”. In a follow-up tweet he added that while streamers could just get a job, it would take away from building their brand. While Formula may have had good intentions, his advice was mocked by many of his followers. Facebook gaming partner Chris Allen thought Formula was trying to meme and wasn’t serious. this is a meme right? I’m reading the replies and it looks like people are taking this seriously — Chris Allen (@DiscipleGames) September 10, 2019 Do I cop? Only issue is I’ll be over budget for the $1 roman. pic.twitter.com/lYanNAFZi7 — Shawn (@uhhShaawn) September 10, 2019 Others chimed in with uhhShaawn mocking the advice saying he was stuck at step one and no one could buy his bed. He then posted a photo of an air mattress and asked if it was worth getting even though the ramen put him over budget. However, not everyone found the advice to be bad. Cereal, a content creator with over 1 million YouTube subs agreed saying that he had a $400 computer last him three years when he was making nothing from his videos and you can make it work if you want it bad enough. I legit had a $400 computer setup that lasted me for 3 years when I was making video game videos. People don’t realize you can make something work from nothing if you really want it bad enough. — Cereal (@Areusupercereal) September 10, 2019 I started editing on my moms laptop and would sit in my bed for hours just to get through one video. After I learned how to edit and be decent at it. I Eventually got a job and bought a custom pc. And ever since I kept grinding and made it where I am today. — Restrict (@restrictededits) September 10, 2019 FaZe video editor Restrict replied saying that he first started editing videos using his mom’s laptop and spent hours just to get a single project done. After grinding enough he was able to buy his own PC and hasn’t looked back. Has Formula actually found the formula to success or is it just bad advice? The jury is still out on that.

Former Vine star reveals truth behind iconic “Adam” meme – Dexerto
Former Vine star reveals truth behind iconic “Adam” meme Instagram: Patrick PerkinsFormer Vine star Patrick Perkins has cleared up a myth about an iconic meme years after it first took the internet by storm. While Vine shuffled its mortal coil in 2016, many of its biggest stars have carried on with short-form comedy on YouTube and now TikTok, including Lele Pons, Liza Koshy, and David Dobrik. Even now, these short clip compilations still get millions of views on YouTube, and there are still multiple Instagram and Twitter accounts dedicated to them. Several vines have carried on their internet life as memes or gifs and have even been pasted onto merchandise. The vine in question shows a blonde teenager in glasses blowing a smoke circle using a vape on a desk when the person carrying the camera blows it away. The teen turns to the camera and exasperatedly says “Adam!.” Now the star himself has come onto TikTok to confirm some lore surrounding him and his twin brother, which has baffled thousands who never knew the truth. Another iconic and highly quotable vine involving one of the twins shows them walking into his bathroom in just a pair of boxers saying: “Hi, welcome to chillis.” In another, one of the twins begs viewers to stop comparing him to Chicken Little. To most people, they look like the exact same person. https://twitter.com/lilblizzard97/status/1331645679962353668 However, Patrick has explained in a viral TikTok that they’re actually identical twins. Patrick was the star of the vape video, while the other twin is Adam and the star of the Chilli’s vine. He also showed a picture of them together “since a lot of people don’t believe that there are actually two of us.” Patrick also posted the video to Twitter and users were bowled over by the new information. One person wrote, “I feel like a different person for knowing this,” while another added, “world-shattering revelations are sometimes just small clarifications I guess.” In less than 24 hours, Patrick’s tweet has amassed 4,000 likes and continues to grow, bringing back a sense of nostalgia for many and clearing up a long-standing internet myth.

Former YouTube Gaming lead gives Twitch candid advice amid revenue split controversy – Dexerto
Former YouTube Gaming lead gives Twitch candid advice amid revenue split controversy TwitchYouTube Gaming’s former lead has weighed in on Twitch’s handling of their streamers, and suggests what they should do to help improve overall revenue for creators. When it comes to streaming, the two main outlets constantly finding themselves going head to head are Twitch and YouTube Gaming. Over the years, both platforms have grown to the point where they now have exclusivity over certain streamers. Just recently, Twitch announced they are planning on cutting subscription revenue for some of the platform’s top streamers in an effort to continue pushing ads. It’s got everyone talking, including former YouTube Gaming lead Ryan Wyatt. No novice to the streaming space, the once-head of Twitch’s biggest competitor believes the Amazon-owned platform is making a mistake with the new revenue split. Wyatt begins the post by declaring his love for Twitch — it was his “first home” when he began streaming back in 2010. However, Wyatt quickly weighs in on the way Twitch manages and compensates for its talent: “It is disheartening to take creator earnings in this fashion and I am hopeful they will get this right in the long term.” The former YouTube gaming boss then breaks it down into two categories — non-ads revenue, and infrastructure costs — revealing what he thinks needs to be done about the two areas. “Regardless if size, the creator should be getting a disproportionate amount — this shouldn’t be even up for debate,” he explained. “Creators drive a disproportionate amount of the work to grow non-ads revenue. They are doing the leg work to move these products, unlike selling ads against their content. “I am certain their infrastructure costs are significant, despite even an Amazon ‘discount’. You don’t have a lot of levers to pull to grow revenue if you aren’t scaling watch time substantially. This is the conundrum live-only platforms will face. “The best way for Twitch to grow monetization would be not to be shortsighted and take advantage of their live dominance by adjusting revenue share, but rather leverage that dominance to grow non-live gaming viewership on the platform to help scale their ads business out.” People online have been responding positively to Wyatt’s suggestions, praising his optimism and “forward thinking” as well as the way he appears to see streamers are “real people” and not just a way to make money. In recent months, the performance of Twitch has come under fire. From unequal enforcement of rules, to DMCA rulings, adult content, and harassment on the platform, streamers have had a bone to pick. Twitch’s decision to ban gambling on the platform is one positive move many have highlighted, but this recent news shows there’s still a long way to go.

Former UFC star wants to fight Jake Paul next, but fans say he’ll be “murdered” – Dexerto
Former UFC star wants to fight Jake Paul next, but fans say he’ll be “murdered” Instagram/JakePaulJake Paul is set to return to boxing on March 2, and while he may not have a dance partner lined up just yet, a former UFC fighter has thrown his hat into the ring. ‘The Problem Child’ has taken the combat sports world by storm with an 8-1 record featuring victories over UFC champions such as Nate Diaz, Anderson Silva and two Ws against Tyron Woodley. While he did suffer his first-ever loss at the hands of Tommy Fury via split-decision, he came right back by KOing Andre August in his return bout and is scheduled to compete again in March. To bring in the new year, Paul revealed his team sent out two contracts for potential fights, and although nothing has been confirmed just yet, another ex-UFC mixed martial artist has seemingly accepted. The only problem? Fans say he’ll get destroyed by the influencer. Jake Paul boxing match accepted by ex-UFC fighter Following Paul’s contract announcement on X, light heavyweight PFL fighter Derek Brunson posted a cryptic tweet indicating that he was interested. On Elon Musk’s platform, the MMA star quote-tweeted Jake’s announcement with an emoji of a hand holding a pen, suggesting he would sign a contract if offered. Brunson currently competes in the PFL, an org that Paul himself is part of and plans to make his eventual MMA debut in. His last fight in the UFC was back at UFC 285 where he lost to Dricus du Plessis via TKO. His opponent, du Plessis, is no pushover and is set to square off against Sean Strickland for the Middleweight Championship at UFC 297 later this month in Toronto. While Brunson may want to take the fight against Paul, fans are not convinced he’ll do so well and are warning him not to take the match. “Jake Paul via MURDER,” one commented. “Ur gassed out by round 3 and then jake ends you,” another chimed in. “Jake would smoke you in the ring & cage,” remarked someone else about the possibility of an MMA bout. So far, The Problem Child hasn’t revealed who he’ll be fighting next so it’s anyone’s guess if he decides to take on Brunson or if someone else has already answered the call. In any case, be sure to keep it locked to Dexerto for all the latest in the influencer boxing world.

Former UFC star Yoel Romero claims Jake Paul canceled fight to box “easier” Ben Askren – Dexerto
Former UFC star Yoel Romero claims Jake Paul canceled fight to box “easier” Ben Askren Instagram: Jake Paul/Yoel RomeroFormer UFC star Yoel Romero claims he was in line to fight Jake Paul instead of Ben Askren, but the YouTuber’s camp canceled the fight when he showed interest in making it happen. Jake Paul’s first foray into boxing might have come against fellow YouTubers, but since wins over Deji and AnEsonGib, he has ventured into fighting athletes and professional fighters. After dispatching of Nate Robinson with a lethal KO, the social media mogul moved on to fight Ben Askren – bringing an end to their longtime online rivalry. However, it appears as if Askren wasn’t supposed to be Jake’s initial opponent. Former UFC middleweight star Yoel Romero claims he was initially in line to fight the YouTuber, but his camp got cold feet. Speaking to Ariel Helwani on The MMA Hour, the ‘Solider of God’ claimed that Jake’s camp dropped the idea of a fight between them when Yoel upped his interest and wanted to make it happen. “What happened was, initially, Jake Paul wanted to do a fight with Yoel but then when Yoel wanted to do it, the Paul team canceled the fight,” the former UFC star said via his translator. “So, initially, they wanted to do the fight with Yoel. That was when he was just getting out of the UFC, he had not signed with Bellator yet, and they said eventually no, not with Yoel… They decided to go with Ben Askren as an easier target, I guess.” Timestamp of 11:20 Romero added that he believes the Paul brothers don’t want to face “real” fighters and are “just trying to make it a show” that they don’t want to ruin. “They’re finding the easy fights,” he added. “Even though (Logan) fought Mayweather, but the thing is, there’s a huge weight difference (between them).” At this point, a fight between Jake and the 44-year-old is unlikely to materialize, given Jake has revealed his boxing ‘hitlist’ and the newly-signed Bellator fighter isn’t on there. Though, never say never in the fight game.

Former UFC Middleweight Champion Michael Bisping Explains Why Isn’t Happy About the KSI vs Logan Paul Fight – Dexerto
Former UFC Middleweight Champion Michael Bisping Explains Why Isn’t Happy About the KSI vs Logan Paul Fight KSI / TwitterAn audio clip of Michael Bisping discussing the upcoming KSI vs Logan Paul boxing match in a seemingly derogatory manner has surfaced online. The clip in question comes from episode 76 of Bisping’s “Believe You Me” podcast (called Photoshop Fiddler) and some reports state that the former UFC middleweight champion “slammed” the fight for being an “insulting mockery”. While Bisping certainly did make it clear that he isn’t a fan of the boxing match, he also had some words of praise for KSI, who he has trained with in the past: “I was at the performance institute and me and Forrest Griffin did some training then as well, “He was fit, me and Forrest really pushed him and he kept a good pace, so his cardio was in shape and that was a while ago as well so he’s gonna be in good shape for this.” He went on to say that he saw a big improvement in KSI between the two training sessions that they had together before explaining his reasons for wanting people to “stay in their lane to a certain degree”: “Maybe I’m wrong here… “I find it almost insulting to everybody that has dedicated their life to being a fighter, come up the hard way, been a lifelong boxer or martial artists or whatever, “They’re almost making a mockery out of the sport of boxing or mixed martial arts or whatever it is by doing this.” The Brit then went on to say that the two YouTube stars are pretending to be Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather in their pre-fight press conferences, summarizing his feelings with “I’m not into it. In short, I’m not into it”. After hearing some rebuttals from his co-host, the stand-up comedian Luis J. Gomez, Bisping clarified his point of view further by saying that the two internet sensations acting like professional fighters irks him the most: “Just stop trying to pretend that you’re a fighter, because you’re not, “You’re fighting another YouTuber, have it for what it is, dedicate yourself, both train whatever, that’s great, “But stop pretending making out that you’re a fighter” KSI and Logan Paul will fight on Saturday, August 25, at the Manchester Arena. While it seems unlikely that Michael Bisping will be tuning in to watch the fight, it looks set to be another record breaking event for YouTube.

Former UFC star Chael Sonnen claims Jake Paul “needs” Nate Diaz fight – Dexerto
Former UFC star Chael Sonnen claims Jake Paul “needs” Nate Diaz fight Instagram: Jake Paul / Nate DiazFormer UFC star Chael Sonnen claims Jake Paul could “really use” a fight against Nate Diaz because his boxing career is seemingly “on hold,” since his last pay-per-view fight “didn’t meet expectations.” Jake Paul’s last fight against Tyron Woodley ended with an emphatic knockout. However, it was reportedly a commercial failure, although Jake urged people to take the reported numbers with a grain of salt. The Problem Child has taken some time off since then. Now, Chael Sonnen believes his hand was forced by Showtime, who wanted to put his career “on hold” due to his previous fight not meeting expectations. “Jake told us that his last fight didn’t meet expectations,” said Chael. “That’s fine. You’ve got to be used to that. One day you will have a sold-out 5000 people, but then take the same recipe to a different date and there will be 500 people. “So, what went into the fact that Jake Paul didn’t have a wonderful last fight – his second fight with Tyron Woodley? Nobody has the answer to that question. But I can tell you what did happen. They didn’t use him again.” Chael claims Jake was “smart enough” to address it first, however. “He came forward before Showtime made a statement saying they were putting the Jake Paul experiment on hold. He got in front of it and said he was putting his boxing career on hold.” “Was that the reality? Did he not want to fight? Or did he know that a fight wasn’t coming? I can only tell you that as I surmise with the evidence in front of me, Jake Paul could really use a fight against Nate Diaz right now.” Chael admitted that having one “bad night” in terms of pay-per-view numbers wasn’t enough for Jake to go into “absolute panic.” But he does think it’s a “problem” that can be solved by fighting Nate Diaz. Diaz recently requested to leave the UFC and brushed off a fight against Jake in favor of fighting his brother, Logan. So, Jake might need to seek out a different opponent like Colby Covington, who is seemingly open to it.

Former UFC champion wants to be involved in Creator Clash 2 – Dexerto
Former UFC champion wants to be involved in Creator Clash 2 Freepik/Creator Clash/UFCFormer UFC Lightweight Champion Jens Pulver is interested in getting involved in Creator Clash 2 following the success of the first event. iDubbbz’s Creator Clash event built on the success that other YouTubers such as KSI and the Paul brothers have had in boxing, bringing in numerous big names across the platform to duke it out. The boxing spectacle was so spectacular that many big names are already lining up for the next event. 100 Thieves co-owner Valkyrae, Twitch star Alinity and more have already expressed interest in duking it out. Now, former UFC champ and Twitch streamer Jens Pulver has also hinted at wanting to participate, but it’s unclear how he will make his mark in the world of creator combat. Jens Pulver wants to fight or coach at Creator Clash 2 During a May 30 Twitch stream, the former UFC champ was asked about the possibility of fighting at Creator Clash 2, but first dismissed the opportunity because of how little time he’s spent as a creator. After some convincing from fans that he would be eligible, Jens stated that he “wouldn’t mind” fighting a YouTuber if given the opportunity but had no idea who he would face. “I don’t have an opponent, no. I have nobody,” he said. “I haven’t put on a pair of gloves in a minute.” That said, the former fighter also expressed some interest in potentially coaching with one viewer recommending he back Twitch streamer Sliker if he decided to box. “Sliker, I would do that!” Jens exclaimed. “I’m down.” It remains to be seen if the former champ actually ends up partaking in the next YouTuber and Twitch streamer boxing extravaganza, but the whole event is shaping up to be even bigger than the first.

While driving to dinner with his wife, Schaub said he came across a wreck involving an 18-wheeler and a car on the interstate, and a small child flagging down help. After warning that pulling over on the highway, even to help an accident, is extremely dangerous and best left to proper authorities, he said he eventually made it to the car to help the kids. “The car hit the semi’s gas tank, so there’s a flow of gas, as thick as this room, flooding out, my shoes my jeans are all covered in gas,” the former fighter explained. “In my head, I’m like ‘f**k, I have kids,’ but I’m thinking of those kids.” After reaching the wreck he managed to rescue the other two children from the wrecked car. But, it took him and another good samaritan having to break the window out to reach them. “I grab the door, but it’s mangled from the crash, so it’s like intertwined from the car,” Schaub continued. “I’m trying to pull it down and I can’t, so I’m like ‘we gotta smash this window.’ CONTENT WARNING: The video below is very graphic and could be upsetting. Viewer discretion is advised. The worst part of the whole episode is that while rescuing the children, Schaub discovered their mother had tragically passed away. Even more horrific was that the father was charged with murder for intentionally driving the car the wrong way in traffic, according to local media. For anyone wanting to help the kids and family of the victim in this tragic incident, a GoFundMe has been set up and raised more than $70,000 at the time of writing.

Former UFC Champion Michael Bisping reveals he turned down Jake Paul fight offer – Dexerto
Former UFC Champion Michael Bisping reveals he turned down Jake Paul fight offer Instagram: mikebisping / jakepaulRetired UFC Middleweight Champion Michael Bisping was approached by Jake Paul with a potential fight offer, which the former mixed martial artist promptly turned down after having “a bit of a laugh with it.” The Paul brothers’ fighting careers have been hotly debated from the very start. Younger brother Jake has continually found himself embroiled in controversy — most recently taking part in a physical altercation with Floyd Mayweather ahead of former pro’s bout with Jake’s brother, Logan. Jake has seen success in his first few fights, even besting former UFC pro Ben Askren along the way to a perfect 3-0 record. The young fighter has already butted heads with several other former and current professional fighters such as Conor McGregor and Daniel Cormier. It’s now been revealed that the younger Paul brother also approached retired UFC fighter Michael Bisping with a fight offer. However, the former middleweight champion had no interest in stepping out of retirement and back into the ring to face Paul, and barely entertained his offer. First reported by talkSPORT, the former UFC champion confirmed that Paul had approached him with an offer to fight, but it did not garner any serious consideration from Bisping: “Jake Paul’s team did make me an offer which I didn’t suitably entertain.” Despite the suggestion from Paul’s camp, the Brit had no interest in coming out of retirement, and pointed to injuries as one of the main reasons he declined the offer. Notably, the former fighter has dealt with numerous eye issues, including detached retinas and a battle with glaucoma. Despite having “a bit of a laugh” with the younger brother’s offer, Bisping confirmed that he takes no issue with other former fighters who consider coming out of retirement, and even sympathizes with them in many cases. “”Got your hat!”” Floyd Mayweather & Jake Paul got into a scuffle at the #MayweatherPaul press conference 🤯pic.twitter.com/uFEueh6FWk — Dexerto (@Dexerto) May 6, 2021 “I’m all for fighters being able to make money [after they retire],” he confirmed, and also revealed that his situation differs from many other former pros: “I’ve been very lucky. I commentate for the UFC, I do my podcast and I’ve got things going on. But that isn’t the norm.” Although Bisping sees the appeal for many retired fighters when it comes to offers like the one from Paul, which likely come hand-in-hand with a hefty payout regardless of the result, he’s happy to remain on the sidelines as a commentator and spectator at this point in his career. Jake Paul has faced backlash from the fighting community on numerous occasions as he seeks to improve his record, but despite the rejection from Bisping, he may have already found some other retired fighters that are more willing to jump into the ring with him — for the right price.

Former UFC champion goes viral for accidental clash with a glass door – Dexerto
Former UFC champion goes viral for accidental clash with a glass door Reddit: dan38495A former UFC heavyweight champion has gone viral, but this time not for their fighting prowess. Instead, they’ve made headlines after accidentally shattering a glass door at a Las Vegas convenience store. Known as one of the most formidable heavyweights in the MMA world, Francis Ngannou has a track record of not just defeating but decimating many of the UFC’s top fighters with his striking power. Back in the day, when Ngannou and UFC CEO Dana White were on better terms, White had some wild ways of promoting him. “Francis has the world record for the most powerful punch,” White once exclaimed. “His punches are equivalent to 96 horsepower. That’s equal to getting hit by a Ford Escort going as fast as it can. And it’s more powerful than a 12-pound sledgehammer from full force overhead. Holy s***.” But it seems even everyday tasks, like opening a convenience store door, can be a challenge for someone with Ngannou’s strength. We’ve all been there: mistaking a pull door for a push one. Usually, a “Pull Only” sign saves the day and our dignity. But for Ngannou, there was no such sign. Security footage showed Ngannou casually approaching the store’s entrance and attempting to push the door open with one hand. When that doesn’t work, he gives it the two-hand treatment, and that’s when the glass doors give way, leaving Ngannou staring in disbelief. Quickly realizing his mistake, Ngannou pulls the door open and strolls into the store. The store owner, however, is far from pleased. He storms out, pointing at the shattered glass and giving Ngannou a piece of his mind. It’s not every day someone stands up to Ngannou, but this store owner wasn’t about to let his door go down without a fight. But after Ngannou agreed to cover the damages, the mood lightened, and the two even posed for a photo in front of the now-shattered door. But it seems that this incident may be too good to be true, as some Reddit users are speculating that it could all just be a staged marketing stunt. The “security footage” was shared by a fresh Reddit account that posted to a range of MMA-related subreddits. Comments range from “This screams promotional video. Even has that grainy loop effect. Funny, but feels like fake news,” to “What’s the angle here? Promoting the Fury fight or the store?” Real or staged, the video has certainly stirred up conversation just in time for Ngannou’s upcoming bout with Tyson Fury in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on October 28.

Former UFC champ Vitor Belfort to take on YouTuber Tarzann in Triller boxing match – Dexerto
Former UFC champ Vitor Belfort to take on YouTuber Tarzann in Triller boxing match Instagram: therealtarzann, vitorbelfortInfluencer boxing looks to be taking over and becoming more and more common every week. Now, it appears former UFC light heavyweight champion and animal YouTuber Mike ‘Tarzann’ Holston are going to face off in the ring. Ever since KSI vs Joe Weller way back in 2017, YouTuber or influencer boxing has slowly grown bigger and better. KSI vs Logan Paul happened twice, each bigger than the last. Now there is a YouTubers vs TikTokers boxing event going ahead, and Logan Paul is preparing for a historic exhibition match against boxing legend Floyd Mayweather. With Jake Paul’s fight against UFC’s Tyron Woodley now confirmed, another former UFC champ has thrown his name into the hat. Vitor Belfort started his MMA journey in the UFC a quarter of a century ago, and since then has fought and won championships in numerous different promotions. Now, he’s looking to cash out with a little help from Triller and YouTuber Tarzann. Tarzann is best known for his countless videos with exotic animals, with viral clips seeing him play with lions, snakes, monkeys, and more. Late on June 3, renowned MMA journalist Ariel Helwani reported that there is a signed deal in place for Belfort v Tarzann on the June 19 Triller card, per Triller stakeholder Ryan Kavanaugh. He also shared a video, which was originally posted by TikTok superstar Noah Beck, of the two confronting each other in a Florida gym. https://twitter.com/arielhelwani/status/1400620475965972487?s=20 The June 19 Triller Fight Club event will be hosted by Snoop Dogg with performances from artists such as Meek Mill. Should this fight go ahead, it will undoubtedly be one of the biggest on the card, which also features the following: Lopez vs Kambosos Jr — Undisputed Lightweight Championship – Crews-Dezurn vs Cederroos — Undisputed Super Middleweight Championship – Hunter vs Wilson — WBA Heavyweight Eliminator – Vences vs Carroll — Vacant WBC Int’l Super Featherweight Silver Championship – The bout doesn’t quite match the scale of the likes of Logan Paul vs Floyd Mayweather, but it shows that legitimate fighters are growing ever more interested in securing the bag against top content creators.

Former UFC champ will fight Jake Paul for free on one condition from Dana White – Dexerto
Former UFC champ will fight Jake Paul for free on one condition from Dana White Instagram: Jake PaulFormer UFC champion and Olympian Henry Cejudo has offered to fight Jake Paul for free as rumors continue to swirl around the YouTuber getting into MMA. Ever since he made his steps into the boxing game, Jake Paul hasn’t been afraid of calling out potential opponents. He’s gone after, and defeated, from UFC champion Tyron Woodley – and he’s even tried to set up fights with Conor McGregor and Canelo Alvarez. Naturally, some fighters have turned the tables a little and tried to get his attention by calling their shot and asking for a fight. With Jake apparently making moves into the MMA world as he, again, tries to flip the fight game on its head, there are plenty of fighters lining up to grapple with him. One of the most intriguing callouts has come from former UFC Bantamweight king and Olympic Gold medalist Henry Cejudo. The 34-year-old, who stepped away from the UFC in March of 2020 with a 16-2 record, is willing to strap on the gloves once again – and doesn’t even want a penny for the fight. Instead, he just wants a shot at UFC featherweight champion Alexander Volkanovski. “Hey @danawhite pay me to fight Alex and I’ll beat up Jake Paul for free,” Cejudo tweeted, with plenty of commenters urging the UFC President to make the deal. Hey @danawhite Pay me to fight Alex and I’ll beat up Jake Paul for free. — Henry Cejudo (@HenryCejudo) January 8, 2022 Even though Cejudo has been retired for almost two years, his skills in the Octagon still far exceed those of the YouTube star, and it would be a pretty hefty mismatch if the fight was made. If Jake does, in fact, make the switch to professional MMA, it would spark plenty of intrigue from fans and critics alike, but he’d likely fight fighters way down the pecking order. Though, we’ll have to wait and see if anything comes of the callouts.

Elon Musk’s former communications chief calls for Twitter to ban Andrew Tate again – Dexerto
Elon Musk’s former communications chief calls for Twitter to ban Andrew Tate again Twitter: Andrew TateAndrew Tate should be banned on Twitter again, says Elon Musk’s former communications chief Dex Hunter-Torricke. At the end of August 2022, influencer and content creator Andrew Tate was banned from all social media platforms, including the likes of Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook. The reasoning for this being his continued spread of harmful and at times misogynistic messaging across his videos and content posts. While Tate’s Twitter ban was originally stated to be for 5 years, he was allowed back on Twitter after a few months. However, his use of the platform has been limited due to his recent arrest. Regardless, his account has still been operating, with the content creator posting about his time in custody. In a recent interview with Sky News, Dex Hunter-Torricke – who has previously worked with Elon Musk as a communications chief- called out the current Twitter boss for allowing him back on Twitter. “There is content that is incredibly harmful. I think we need to look at it on a case-by-case basis. But certainly, where there is a record, a track record well built up of harmful things being applied to a whole generation of people. We need to take action, we can’t just be talking about it.” Hunter-Torricke then added that Tate should once again be taken off the platform and social media leads such as Musk need to be more accountable for ensuring “harmful” content is kept off social media platforms. “There’s a person here who has been spreading incredibly terrible, misogynistic harmful content to lots of people. And these are the sorts of online harms that I think there is a very strong consensus in society, including the policymakers and tech industry, that we need to take more action on.” Musk is yet to respond to Hunter-Torricke’s criticism of his handling of Andrew Tate. However, we’ll be sure to keep you updated if there are any new developments to this story. For all the latest entertainment news and content, be sure to check out Dexerto’s full coverage here.

Former UFC champ Demetrious Johnson reveals he’s a huge Asmongold fan – Dexerto
Former UFC champ Demetrious Johnson reveals he’s a huge Asmongold fan Instagram/mighty/Twitch/AsmongoldFormer UFC Flyweight Champion turned Twitch streamer Demetrious ‘Mighty Mouse’ Johnson shocked fans by revealing he’s a massive supporter of World of Warcraft legend Asmongold. Being a martial artist in ONE Championship while balancing Twitch streaming can prove to be a difficult task, but Johnson has stepped up in a big way, training while also playing games such as Resident Evil Village and Warzone. But when it comes to fellow streamers he enjoys, the uber popular MMO icon Asmongold is among the best Johnson, who himself has played his share of WoW in the past, voiced his support for Asmongold’s stream style in a Twitter post on June 15. why is @Asmongold so damn funny and intelligent!! His stream and the way he views content/game launches and MMORPGS is a breath of fresh air. — Demetrious Johnson (@MightyMouse) June 15, 2021 “Why is Asmongold so damn funny and intelligent!” Mighty Mouse rhetorically asked, tagging the streamer in his tweet. “His stream and the way he views content/game launches and MMORPGS is a breath of fresh air.” If this wasn’t enough, Demetrious showed he was an actual true supporter by responding to a fan suggesting he check out Asmongold’s second channel for more in depth content “where he gets a little deeper.” “Already have,” Johnson quickly replied, showing he really was a big fan of the WoW legend. As for what else he really enjoyed with Asmongold’s streams, amusingly, his eyebrows play a big part apparently. “It’s the eyebrow movement,” a user replied to Johnson’s original message, prompting some agreement from the mixed martial artist. “That’s one of my favorite parts,” he replied. “It’s like his eyebrows have a mind of their own!” That one of my favorite part. Its like his eyebrows has a mind of his own! — Demetrious Johnson (@MightyMouse) June 15, 2021 For his part, Asmongold was pleased with all the kind words, replying “love you, dude, thank you!” The idea of an MMA warrior and a Warcraft icon getting along so well may be a bit ridiculous, but it’s real life and quite the amusing friendship. Hopefully, the two end up doing some sort of stream together at some point down the line.

Former Twitch star Phantoml0rd’s infamous swatter finally jailed – Dexerto
Former Twitch star Phantoml0rd’s infamous swatter finally jailed Phant0mlord – YouTubeDisgraced Twitch star James ‘Phantoml0rd’ Varga says his swatter from 2013, who also DDoSed League of Legends, DOTA 2 and other games, is now in jail. Before the days of Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins, Turner ‘Tfue’ Tenney and the other top Twitch streamers, Phantoml0rd was top dog on the platform. In 2016 he was a well-known streamer who would bring in tens of thousands of viewers each stream but he found himself in a lot of hot water, such as having a stake in a gambling site, that led to his account being banned. He countered with a lawsuit against Twitch. Before he was banned, however, he was the victim of a swatting situation led by an online hacking group called “DERP,” which also targeted game servers. Phantoml0rd’s personal information was leaked online and it led to police showing up to his house, suspecting him of holding hostages and putting him in handcuffs before discovering there wasn’t a threat. Fast forward to July 4, 2019, and Phantom is now saying the person responsible for the swatting has now found himself in jail, citing a press release from the U.S. Department of Justice. The man responsible, Austin Thompson, was sentenced to 27 months in prison on July 2 for carrying out a series of DoS (denial-of-service) attacks against multiple victims in 2013 and 2014. Remember the time I got swatted 5 1/2 years ago? Well the guy who doxed me & who DDOSed all the game servers is in jail now: https://t.co/kq4P7YuuZL pic.twitter.com/Se5HFZPHU7 — PhantomL0rd (@PhantomL0rd) July 4, 2019 He was also ordered to pay $95,000 to Daybreak Games as a result of the attacks. Thompson is 23-years-old. Despite not being on Twitch anymore, Phantom has still been streaming, just on YouTube instead. While he isn’t as popular as he was in his heyday on Twitch, he has managed to retain a decent following. The events of the lawsuit between Phantom and Twitch are still ongoing.

Former Twitch stream mod arrested amid allegations of harassment by popular WoW personality – Dexerto
Former Twitch stream mod arrested amid allegations of harassment by popular WoW personality Twitter: NaliplsAfter a harrowing time dealing with a moderator turned stalker, the accused harasser of WoW streamer ‘Nalipls’ has been arrested. Back in January of this year, Canadian Twitch streamer ‘nalipls’ went public with a terrifying series of screenshots and images detailing an extreme and intense level of harassment allegedly leveled at her by a moderator of her chat. Facing swatting, death threats, doxxing, and more, the WoW streamer had an extremely persistent stalker make active attempts at ruining her life, resulting in a failed restraining order after a GoFundMe was raised for legal fees. Now the accused stalker, revealed to be a former Los Angeles World Airport Police officer named Evan Baltierra, has been arrested after involvement from the FBI. On Twitter, Nali retweeted the US Attorney L.A’s official statement on the proceedings. A link to an extensive document with a full recount of the situation from top to toe. The tweet itself read “Orange County man arrested on federal stalking charge alleging multiyear harassment campaign against prominent online gamer.” The affidavit posted goes into great detail surrounding what was found at Evan’s home and the level to which he had been allegedly harassing Nali. “In March 2022, law enforcement executed a search warrant at Baltierra’s residence and seized several items, including a thumb drive that contained many photoshopped nude images with the victim’s face on them, and evidence on Baltierra’s iPhone of email accounts with which he used to send the victim harassing messages.” The affidavit closes out with the information that Baltierra is charged with one count of stalking. Which, if convicted, means the alleged stalker would face a statutory maximum sentence of five years in federal prison. After withdrawing from streaming due to the harassment, Nali’s Twitch account has not been used in two years. However, she did post on Twitter that “finding a job where I don’t have to interact with the general public has been a huge mental health buff.” With harassment of female streamers a constant concern on Twitch, the precedent of jail time being set as a deterrent may hopefully lower the number of abusers streamers face in the future.

Former Twitch employee explains why sub revenue split won’t change – Dexerto
Former Twitch employee explains why sub revenue split won’t change Twitch streamers are demanding a higher revenue split from channel subscriptions, but a former Twitch/Amazon employee has explained why this split would only hurt the platform. Currently, Twitch offers streamers a 50/50 split in revenue when it comes to channel subscriptions. When viewers pay $5 to subscribe to their favorite streamer, roughly $2.50 goes into the streamer’s pocket. In November 2021, streamer Dezirablegamer took to Twitter to demand a higher revenue split, calling the current 50% model”crazy”. Shortly after, the poll to “Change revenue split between streamers and lower payout minimums” became the most supported idea on UserVoice. While it sounds easy for the Amazon-owned company to pay streamers more, a former Twitch employee has provided a look at the economics that stop this from happening. Why Twitch can’t pay streamers more Here are the real economics of the #SubSplit market no one wants to talk about: (or maybe they don’t understand) 1. Big streamers are a loss leader, every time someone who averages 5k (probably lower) goes live, Twitch loses money. Their paid subs will never be enough.— Sam Chen⁷ (@djfluffkins) January 7, 2022 Sam Chen, a former employee for Twitch/Amazon, has stepped up to the plate to discuss the “real economics no one wants to talk about.” In an attempt to clarify Twitch’s sub split, Chen explained why the platform can’t pay streamers more per sub. Chen made his case in three points capped off with a short FAQ. His first point is that big streamers (xQc, Shroud, Nickmercs) are a “loss leader” for the platform. Anyone who averages roughly 5k viewers or more will cause Twitch to lose money anytime they go live. That’s because it costs Twitch money to host streamers and provide a platform that supports 1080p broadcasts. The number of people watching large creators costs Twitch more than it can earn from that streamer’s subs. The ad revenue also does not cover the cost of that streamer. 2. Mid tier streamers make up for this loss (mid level in this case is prob between 100-500, who knows with pandemic numbers). You’re a size where your subs “likely” outnumber your viewers by a large margin. Twitch cannot be profitable without maximizing revenue from this group. — Sam Chen (@djfluffkins) January 7, 2022 Chen’s second point is that mid-tier streamers (100-500 avg. concurrent viewers) make up for that loss. He stated that these streamers’ sub counts likely outnumber their viewers by a large margin. “Twitch cannot be profitable without maximizing revenue from this group” – Sam Chen 3. Smaller streamers probably make back what they cost Twitch, maybe Twitch makes money from the ad side. Bonus: See why Twitch wants bigger streamers to run more ads without a better share of ad money? So they can POSSIBLY get them to pay their share. — Sam Chen (@djfluffkins) January 7, 2022 Lastly, Sam Chen claimed that smaller streamers might make back what they cost Twitch to host. Ad revenue also helps Twitch make up what they spend to host smaller streamers. Chen also stated that Twitch wants larger streamers to run more ads so the platform can afford to pay sub revenue. Why do streamers cost Twitch money? Chen further noted why streamers cost Twitch money to host. Prime subs aren’t free. When a viewer uses a Prime Sub, they are making Twitch give streamers money from their own pocket. As well, it costs the platform money to provide its viewers with video. It also costs more when a streamer can output better quality video. Chen states that Twitch doesn’t offer 4k not because it isn’t capable, but because it would cost much more to provide that service. How can Twitch pay streamers more? In order for Twitch to pay streamers more and still be profitable, Chen suggested they adopt progressive taxation of larger streamers. Mid-sized streamers may be able to reap the benefits, but larger streamers would earn less revenue per sub. However, there is a way to better support streamers on the viewer’s end. Bits are a much more efficient way of donating to a streamer. Instead of a 50% cut, Twitch takes less than 30% of the money viewers spend on bits. For instance, if you buy 100 bits, you pay $1.40. Twitch only takes $0.40 of that transaction. And as the number of bits a viewer purchases increases, the lower percentage Twitch takes from that transaction. If you purchase 10,000 bits for $126, Twitch only takes $26 or roughly 20% of the revenue. Why can’t Twitch replicate other platforms’ payouts? “But Sam, how do FB and YT do it?” They’re not of size. Before I started at Twitch, I always thought Mixer had such an advantage with their latency. Then I realized that their latency was because they didn’t have the viewership Twitch did. Wait till they get bigger, it’ll be bad. — Sam Chen (@djfluffkins) January 7, 2022 The #SubSplit discussion has heated up recently because of YouTube and Facebook’s increase in revenue split (70/30). However, Chen also explained why Twitch can’t replicate these splits. Facebook and YouTube’s streaming categories aren’t comparable to something like Twitch. There are a lot more people streaming on Twitch at any given time than any other platform. YouTube also has a larger number of revenue sources, whereas Twitch is dependent on ad revenue and subs. So, while it sounds like Twitch is a greedy unfair company, they may not actually be able to afford a larger sub revenue split.

Former Twitch executive explains why the Ninja pre-roll situation will keep happening – Dexerto
Former Twitch executive explains why the Ninja pre-roll situation will keep happening Justin Wong Twitter / NinjaTwitch’s latest ad initiative for a New Year’s Eve broadcast event was met with incredible disdain from other content creators on the platform, but it sounds like the trend is likely to continue according to a former executive of the site. The cross-promotional event between Twitch, Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins and the many sponsors queued up for the night’s festivities have taken precedence over what many feel was the main pull of the broadcasting site, and Former Twitch VP Justin Wong feels this could be the new norm. In a series of tweets, Wong detailed what might have caused the streaming giant to “break” its policies on advertisements as it relates to companies who buy into ads and the individual streamer. 2/ Twitch’s different policies for ad buyers and individual streamers will continue to break as individual streamers start to behave more like event companies renting their channels to brands. It’s inevitable as streamers continue to command audiences larger than some events. — Justin Wong (@JustinWong) December 28, 2018 A recurring feature on smaller channels is its focus on community building and retained viewerships. But adverts such as the one employed by the NYE event will promote “channel-switching” which will go far to damage creators’ ability to foster unique audiences. Wong made the distinction between event advertising and channel advertising, suggesting that Twitch’s main goal for the ad-roll and their overall strategy for commercializing the NYE event is to grow exposure for the site. “So the strategy of pushing event advertising to Ninja’s channel is a good thing. It’s what everyone wants,” Wong said. “And since Twitch already runs advertising for other events as part of campaigns, I can see whoever put this together rationalizing ‘It’s an event. It’ll be fine.’” 13/ BTW, Ninja’s innocent in all this. He didn’t buy those ads. It’s Twitch’s fault they let this fester for as long as they have. Another consistently common criticism. — Justin Wong (@JustinWong) December 28, 2018 As controversial as the strategy might prove to be, Wong says that the move will inherently be a part of Twitch’s future as streamers garner larger audiences that ad agencies will want to buy into. Ad policies that prioritize larger revenue growth over fostering community relations will continue to plague the site as Twitch continues to become more “Amazon,” according to Wong. He believes the streaming site will continue to hurt itself as long as it makes its creators and audiences a secondary concern over revenue.

Former Twitch executives launch new TikTok-like platform for gaming content – Dexerto
Former Twitch executives launch new TikTok-like platform for gaming content FreshCutFormer Twitch executives James Kuk, Ben Stueck, and Ernie Le have launched their own short-form video-sharing platform ‘FreshCut’ which focuses on gaming content. Whether it be live streaming, short-form, or long-form content, it seems there are more and more platforms busting into the industry — and some have already begun rivaling the big dogs Twitch and YouTube. Notably, we’ve seen the likes of Kick and Rumble see some huge success in recent times when it comes to streaming. Although, when it comes to short-form content, no platform has come close to TikTok — despite best efforts from YouTube with ‘Shorts’ and Meta’s ‘Reels’. However, three former Twitch executives are aiming to shake things up, launching their own short-form video-sharing platform ‘FreshCut’ — focusing specifically on gaming content. Raising $11.6 million in its Seed round and Series A, the platform launched earlier in 2023, and has already reached over two million visitors and over 130,000 content creators in under five months. Taking a community-centric approach, and aiming to improve discoverability for gaming-specific creators, FreshCut is founded by former Twitch executives James Kuk, Ben Stueck, and Ernie Le, who have a combined 40+ years of experience in the gaming industry between them. To date, FreshCut has invested over $1 million in creators via their Community Fund and has a long-term vision to create a fair, sustainable business model that shares advertising revenues with its creators. “The cornerstone of any game is having a strong community to support it,” said Founder and CEO James Kuk. “Yet the key failure of major social media platforms for gamers is a lack of community focus, since they serve hundreds of verticals that go far beyond gaming.” “Our goal is the opposite, which involves a laser focus on gaming content, developing close bonds with specific gaming circles for more authentic relationships, and bolstering discovery since it is one of the biggest struggles creators face. As a testament to our vision, our user base has soared month-over-month since we launched.” What is FreshCut? New gaming-focused short-form platform FreshCut is a new short-form video-sharing platform specifically for gaming. The platform’s content recommendation engine ensures a high-quality content experience tailored to each community — which users select to join. Making it easy for creators, FreshCut’s Studio product offers a suite of essential short-form editing tools for mobile and web and also enables creators to upload short videos to their desired community. Users can also purchase FreshCut Diamonds, which they can then use to show support for their favorite creators directly as a form of tipping or to redeem rewards in the FreshCut merch store.

Former restaurant server reveals how TikTok helped her get “revenge” on old bosses – Dexerto
Former restaurant server reveals how TikTok helped her get “revenge” on old bosses TikTok: its.marianne.faithA TikTok star has shared how the internet got “revenge” on her former bosses after they treated her unfairly at the restaurant she served at the time. TikTok star Marianne, who goes by ‘its.marianne.faith’ on the popular platform, has gathered a large social media following since her rise to fame. With over 3.3 million followers on TikTok alone, Marianne recently recounted how her supporters have previously come to her defense. In fact — by teaming up — Marianne’s fans were able to force her former bosses to “take down all of their review sites” after she shared her reasoning for leaving the workplace. The original incident took place while Marianne was working as a restaurant server in her hometown, with a group of customers staying to continue their conversation even after closing. When staff tried to close the restaurant around the late-staying customers — a task which included vacuuming — the group became increasingly frustrated, resulting ultimately in the police needing to be called. “The manager comes from her post and is like ‘Alright, none of that. You’re being mean and acting like fools, you have to leave.’ It escalated into this whole big thing,” Marianne recounted. “We had to call the cops.” Despite intending to press charges, it was discovered that the troublemaking customers were friends with the restaurant’s owner and quickly ran to “tattle” on the staff involved. The owners took their friend’s side, even going as far as to tell a local newspaper that the incident had been a “misunderstanding.” “Upset” over the ordeal and not feeling safe at the workplace, Marianne left the restaurant. Years later she shared the story on TikTok and her fans weren’t happy. Despite not mentioning the name of the restaurant or town in which it was located, internet sleuths determined the place in question and got to work bringing down the restaurant’s reputation. “It was so persistent and for so long they had to unplug their phones for like a week and a half and then take down all of their review sites,” Marianne said. “So, five years later the restaurant’s still there… but it is kind of my own little story of revenge or karma or justice even.” Be sure to check out all the latest entertainment news on our page here.
