  • DisguisedToast reveals he developed a game KSI played on YouTube 10 years ago – Dexerto

DisguisedToast reveals he developed a game KSI played on YouTube 10 years ago Twitch: DisguisedToastDuring a recent stream, DisguisedToast showed a ten-year-old clip of KSI playing a particular game, with Toast then admitting that the game was actually one that he created back in high school. Nowadays, it’s not uncommon for old clips of popular streamers and content creators to resurface, these videos typically snap shots into the start of their careers. During his latest stream, DisguisedToast revealed to his audience a surprising detail along those lines, and, in a way, a surprise collaboration between himself and one of the UK’s most popular figures, KSI. When discussing how he used to create video games and code, now content creator DisguisedToast showed old footage of KSI streaming a video game. Toast quickly revealed that the game KSI can be seen playing in the 10-year-old clip is actually one that he created back in high school. “So that’s KSI ten years ago,” began Toast, before confirming that, “the game he is playing… is the game I made 10 years ago as a coder.” Toast then let the KSI clip roll further, before commenting, “I mean I wasn’t anyone I just made video games on the internet for fun. I was in high school. So he just plays my game.” After watching through his old game for a few more moments, Toast then laughs off the clip before finally stating. “This was a long time ago, I coded this game. It’s pretty bad.” This content was a change-up from Toast’s usual work, with the streamer focusing most of his attention on his Valorant team. DisguisedToast is very open and honest about the struggles he is facing with esports and building up his presence in Valorant.

  • Disguised Toast reveals insane Twitch boost Pokimane, xQc & Mizkif gained over “hate raid” drama – Dexerto

Disguised Toast reveals insane Twitch boost Pokimane, xQc & Mizkif gained over “hate raid” drama YouTube: OfflineTV Podcast / Instagram: xQcow1, pokimanelol, realmizkifTwitch star Disguised Toast revealed the surprising boost several streamers received for discussing the hate raid drama between Pokimane and Jidion last month. In January, Imane ‘Pokimane’ Anys became the victim of a hate raid orchestrated by fellow streamer Jidion. Jidion had instructed his fans to spam “L+Ratio” into Pokimane’s chat, but the harassment went far beyond that; Anys claimed her fans were also being targeted with hateful speech, and that her direct messages were being filled with inappropriate comments. Since then, Jidion has apologized for the raid and has distanced himself from the situation after being permanently banned by Twitch due to the ordeal. Surprisingly, several weeks later, Jidion uploaded a photo of himself with Pokimane, appearing to hint at an upcoming collaboration with the Twitch star. Fellow Twitch streamer Disguised Toast discussed the feud between Pokimane and Jidion with YouTube’s Valkyrae on the OfflineTV Podcast, where he shared some surprising insights on the drama. Disguised Toast says Pokimane hate raid drama resulted in big Twitch boost Toast claimed that, in spite of all the damage the hate raid had caused, it actually boosted several streamers’ viewership a fair bit whenever they discussed the situation. “Twitch channels covering it, everyone’s viewership — I was watching, like, when Pokimane was talking about it, she doubled her viewership from 20k to 50k,” he said. “Mizkif went to 70k,” he continued. “xQc went to 120,000 viewers covering the event. I love it. I had the whole stream opened up in the living room and was just watching along. But when you’re in the drama, it kind of sucks.” (Topic begins at 19:45) Disguised Toast made it clear that the internet loves drama, and streamers giving their takes on the viral beef between Pokimane, Jidion, and Ninja made for a popcorn-worthy affair for many viewers. It’s unclear what exactly will come of Pokimane’s upcoming collab with Jidion – but if Toast’s words are anything to go by, we can be sure the internet will be waiting with bated breath to watch as soon as it’s released.

  • DisguisedToast hits out at Valorant “incels” for driving women away from gaming – Dexerto

DisguisedToast hits out at Valorant “incels” for driving women away from gaming Instagram: disguisedtoast / Riot GamesTwitch streamer DisguisedToast is taking aim at “incels” in games like Valorant for driving women away from the gaming scene. It’s no secret that the online gaming world can be an unfriendly place for women from time to time. Plenty of women in gaming have spoken out about sexist treatment from male teammates in multiplayer titles like Overwatch and Valorant, with streamer IShowSpeed most recently getting banned from the latter for making sexist remarks toward a female player. Twitch star DisguisedToast spoke out on the matter during an April 2022 broadcast, where he hit out at toxic male players for essentially driving women out of the space — or, more specifically, “incels.” “The thing I don’t get about incels in video games is that incels are mad that they can’t get girls,” he began. “So, it seems so counterproductive to drive away women from gaming.” “Like, I’m a recovering incel, and I love women. You know what I want? I want way more women in gaming because more women in gaming means more chances of me interacting with women.” “So, even if you treat women like objects — which you shouldn’t by the way, women are individuals who should be treated with respect — it seems so stupid to disrespect women in gaming, ’cause you’re driving away the thing you want. Like, are you stupid?” (Topic begins at 0:45) This isn’t the first time Toast has hit out at sexism in Valorant; last month, he slammed a commenter for sympathizing with Valorant streamer JasonR, who came under fire for refusing to play with women. It’s clear that Toast doesn’t have time for sexism in his multiplayer games — something that Riot has also taken a hard stance on by banning iShowSpeed from all of their titles over his sexist outburst.

  • DisguisedToast and KSI “collabed” nine years ago and didn’t even know it – Dexerto

DisguisedToast and KSI “collabed” nine years ago and didn’t even know it Instagram: @disguisedtoast / YouTube: JJ OlatunjiPopular Twitch streamer ‘DisguisedToast’ and British YouTube star ‘KSI’ technically collaborated nearly a decade ago — and they just now found out about it. It’s not unusual for big-time influencers to get together and make content with one another. In fact, it can be a huge viewership draw, and often results in a hilarious crossover of fan bases who would not otherwise intersect. However, two of the net’s biggest stars have collaborated without ever knowing about it… and only realized it about nine years after the fact. Before he was a member of OfflineTV and one of the biggest streamers on Twitch, DisguisedToast made video games. One of his creations was an addictive, rage-inducing puzzle/challenge Flash game called ‘The Frustration Game,’ much in the style of ‘The World’s Hardest Game’ from ages past. Before becoming a chart-topping rapper and professional boxer, KSI played video games. One of the games he played on his channel happened to be DisguisedToast’s ‘Frustration Game,’ which he uploaded to YouTube in 2012. Now, in 2021, Toast has finally discovered the video — and it’s safe to say that he felt a little awed by how surreal the whole situation seemed. “Nine years ago, he played this game,” Toast reflected. “And I’m actually in this video. In the bottom right, because I made the game he’s playing. This is the game I made in high school.” “I just thought it was really cool that the game I made in high school was played by a gaming YouTuber. Like, ‘Wow! I made a game, and this YouTuber’s playing it.’ Now fast forward nine years, now I am a reactor. Now I’m reacting to KSI, who’s playing the game that I made. It’s come full circle.” It’s certainly inspiring to see how far Toast has come in his career as an online entertainer, showing that, with enough hard work and perseverance, people can accomplish great things — and possibly even collab with some of their favorite influencers without even knowing it.

  • DisguisedToast drops cryptic hint at possible Twitch departure – Dexerto

DisguisedToast drops cryptic hint at possible Twitch departure Following a chain of hugely popular personalities leaving Twitch, Jeremy ‘DisguisedToast’ Wang has teased that he might be the next to transition away from the streaming platform. From Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins and Michael ‘shroud’ Grzesiek shifting over to Mixer, and Jack ‘CouRage’ Dunlop now streaming exclusively on YouTube, competition has never been healthier between major content creation platforms. It appears as though the number of Twitch departures will continue to grow in the very near future as popular streamer and Offline TV member, DisguisedToast, has cryptically suggested a transition of his own could be coming soon. In a November 20 Tweet, the streamer shared that there will be an “announcement this Friday” regarding his future home as a content creator. “I want to tell YOU all something. It’s time to FACE the facts. I have to MIX things up,” he amusingly expressed, hinting at three major competitors to Twitch in the form of YouTube, Facebook Live, and Mixer respectively. The post could be looked back on as a complete misdirection, however with fellow Offline TV superstar Imane ‘Pokimane‘ Anys also hinting at a groundbreaking announcement, there’s no denying that a massive shift is imminent. https://twitter.com/DisguisedToast/status/1197309267583221760 Throughout recent months, DisguisedToast not only disabled donations on his channel but also implored viewers to stop subscribing to him altogether. Suggesting that he’d rather the subs go to a “smaller streamer instead,” perhaps he had been preparing his departure from the platform for some time. There’s no telling where the popular personality may end up, but having amassed over 1.3 million followers throughout his three years of streaming on the platform, there’s no denying leaving Twitch would be a career-altering move. https://twitter.com/DisguisedToast/status/1192510875883560960 With gaming icon Ninja detailing the benefits of the platform and encouraging others to make the move, perhaps DisguisedToast will be the next popular personality to leave Twitch behind. Soleil “FaZe Ewok” Wheeler and Cory ‘KingGothalion‘ Michael are two additional streaming juggernauts that recently shifted over to Mixer, highlighting that power plays from the Microsoft-owned streaming platform are far from over.

  • DisguisedToast defends “naive” Valkyrae amid RFLCT backlash – Dexerto

DisguisedToast defends “naive” Valkyrae amid RFLCT backlash YouTube: Valkyrae / Twitch: DisguisedToastYouTube star Rachell ‘Valkyrae’ Hoffstetter is still feeling the heat over the release of her RFLCT skincare line last week, and her fellow streamers aren’t shying away from sharing their takes on the subject — including DisguisedToast. On October 19, Valkyrae unleashed a line of skincare products aimed at protecting users from the effects of blue light. ‘Blue light’ refers to light that is produced by electronic devices like cell phones, computers, and TV screens. However, claims that blue light directly harms one’s skin have been deemed murky at best. Peer-reviewed scientific studies have suggested that any amount of blue light has an inconsequential effect on the skin. In wake of Valkyrae’s RFLCT launch, a slew of critics and fellow influencers have slammed the streamer over the product. Many have accused her of “scamming” her followers, while YouTuber and dermatologist Dr. Dray called RFLCT’s blue light protection factor “misleading.” Amid the criticism — which came from such names as Hasan and Pokimane, among many others — fellow streamer DisguisedToast offered his opinion of her character amid the ongoing backlash. When discussing whether or not the fault lay with Valkyrae or the skincare team she was working with, Toast had this to say: “In the time I’ve known Valkyrae … she has never shown me to be malicious or calculating. She has shown me to be naïve and impulsive, and too trusting. Overly loyal to people and organizations that don’t necessarily deserve her loyalty. But she is someone who just sees what’s in front of her very often. And unfortunately, that means she’s susceptible to being taken advantage of.” “Now, that being said, it is also her responsibility, and her team’s responsibility, to make sure if she ever gets into ventures, that it is the right choice,” he added. “You have to look at someone’s history to see that when they do something not cool, is it a pattern, or is it a one-off, right?” Valkyrae released an official statement prior to DisguisedToast’s comments, claiming that she’d witnessed what she had deemed “groundbreaking research” from the team she was working with, in regards to blue light’s purported effects on skin. Rae then stated that she had learned “their studies can’t be publicized,” and as such, their evidence wasn’t included in the website; instead, all that was linked was a WebMD article. “I am in a bound contract,” she said. “I do believe in the product but I do also wish to not be involved because the research can’t be public. That’s the hard part. And that’s the honest truth… I don’t know if I really want to continue. But I don’t know if I really have a choice.”

  • DisguisedToast claims ‘edgy’ jokes have cost him Twitch sponsorships – Dexerto

DisguisedToast claims ‘edgy’ jokes have cost him Twitch sponsorships Twitch: Disguised ToastStreaming star Jeremy ‘DisguisedToast’ Wang claimed that an edgy joke recently landed him in hot water with a sponsor as they terminated their deal with him. As streamers have cultivated massively loyal audiences, they’ve been able to parlay that popularity into sponsorship opportunities. Some streamers have gone big, getting their own PC and peripheral sponsors, while others have linked up with food and drink brands. There is a wide range of deals going down for some of the biggest names on Twitch. In the case of DisguisedToast, he’s got a handful of sponsors of his own – including those who also work with OfflineTV and the other creators under that umbrella. Though, he claimed that one of the sponsors dumped him over a joke he made on stream. DisguisedToast claims sponsor pulled out over edgy joke During a recent round of Hearthstone games, the OTV star quizzed his viewers on how ‘edgy’ he could get with the name for his favorite deck in the Blizzard title. After explaining his thoughts on that front, he claimed that he’d landed himself in hot water with a sponsor for a similar bout of edginess. “I actually found out the other day that I lost a sponsorship because I made a porn joke,” Toast said. “I won’t go into details because I don’t want to lose any more sponsorships but I made a porn joke and one of my sponsors pulled out, as they do.” The Twitch star quickly moved on from the conversation and reverted his focus back to Hearthstone, but that didn’t stop some viewers from trying to figure out who exactly had cut ties with Toast. Though some suggested he was playing the long game and making another joke given his reference to a sponsor pulling out. So, who knows where exactly Toast stands with his sponsors.

  • DisguisedToast shows off Cloud9 shirt collection in OfflineTV unboxing – Dexerto

DisguisedToast shows off Cloud9 shirt collection in OfflineTV unboxing After asking for a care package of clothes, Jeremy ‘DisguisedToast’ Wang received a massive supply drop from teams like Cloud9, Rogue, and Ninjas in Pyjamas in OfflineTV’s Christmas unboxing. DisguisedToast made it no secret that his wardrobe was running thin. Putting a callout on Twitter back in October, Toast received quite the response from some of esports biggest organizations to restock his wardrobe back to full. While he received a few gifts from Golden Guardians and Cloud9 in November’s unboxing video, the latter went one bigger for the festive season, dropping off an insane amount of shirts. https://twitter.com/DisguisedToast/status/1188555900442701824 Cloud9 ended up sending the streamer 20 shirts, a jacket, some shorts and pants, a mousepad, a headset, and a cloud plushie. The size of the gift was so big that they had to cut it from the original video, but the esports organization ended up showing it all off on their own Twitter. “Hopefully now DisguisedToast won’t have to ask for clothes on Twitter ever again,” they said. Toast also received shirts from Rogue, Ninjas in Pyjamas, and Dallas Fuel in the Christmas unboxing, with Rogue even personalizing the jersey they gifted the streamer. The rest of the OTV crew received their own selection of presents from fans and orgs alike, including a massive Airsoft rifle for LilyPichu, sneakers for Pokimane, more nerf guns, and a couples sweater for Fedmyster and Poki. New OfflineTV member Michael Reeves was left out of most gifts, except for a poster drawn by a fan which the group put up on the wall. However, if Michael asks Toast nicely, he’d probably be able to snag a few of the Cloud9 shirts taking over his wardrobe. He certainly has a few to spare.

  • Disguised Toast wants to bless a small streamer to join their Among Us group – Dexerto

Disguised Toast wants to bless a small streamer to join their Among Us group Disguised Toast/InnerSlothOfflineTV member Jeremy ‘Disguised Toast’ Wang wants to help a rising content creator out by giving them a spot in his group of Among Us players, which contains the likes of Valkyrae, Sykkuno, and Corpse Husband. As 2020 began to wrap up, plenty of content creators from Twitch and YouTube (and Facebook in Toast’s case) started to blow up thanks to their Among Us lobbies. The social deduction game has provided some amazingly comical highlights, as players try to figure out who the imposter is before they have a chance to eliminate everyone else. Disguised Toast and his group, which includes Valkyrae, Sykkuno, Corpse Husband, and others, are perhaps the most popular collection of Among Us creators out there, and they want to help someone out. Toast put it out on Twitter that he wanted someone to join the group in a bid to give them a helping hand and a launching pad to become an even bigger creator than they already might be. “Tag a small streamer that you want to see in our among us lobbies,” he tweeted on February 27. “Let’s blow someone up.” It didn’t take long before vouches and tags were flooding his replies – with content creators from all over the globe hoping to get involved. https://twitter.com/DisguisedToast/status/1365844279692730368 Many showcased their credentials as an OfflineTV fan, others showed they were dedicated Among Us players with crazy cosplays and impressive art, while some others decided to have fun by tagging already established creators. hi there toast !! i’m a huge fan of OTV and friends and i’d love to be apart of one of your among us lobbies !! — Baleela 🦭 (@bahleelah) February 28, 2021 Hey 👋🏻 I already got my cosplay pic.twitter.com/utgTz34pyZ— BRO YOU WACK (@BroYouWack) February 28, 2021 Whoever gets the call to join the group, even if it is for a game or two, will no doubt get to show their skills to a huge audience. • Disguised Toast’s Pokemon Legends Arceus stream isn’t going as planned & it’s hilarious – Dexerto

Disguised Toast’s Pokemon Legends Arceus stream isn’t going as planned & it’s hilarious Disguised Toast/Game FreakPokemon Legends Arceus is finally out and Twitch star Disguised Toast is currently playing through the new open-world game. However, his creature collection adventure isn’t going smoothly. Disguised Toast has started his playthrough of Pokemon Legends Arceus, giving his viewers the chance to join him on his journey through the Hisui region. However, unlike previous titles in the series, Legends Arceus puts an emphasis on open-world exploration. For the first time ever, trainers can freely explore their surroundings when catching the game’s colorful critters. Whether it’s scaling large mountaintops or surfing through vast lakes, there are plenty of secrets awaiting players. However, both the environment and the Pokemon that inhabit it can be incredibly dangerous. Well, this is exactly what Disguised Toast found when he explored a certain location. Disguised Toast highlights the dangers of Hisui During his January 25 stream of Pokemon Legends Arceus, Toast encountered a hilarious scenario that saw his character perpetually spawn into danger. After attempting to jump over a stream with Wyrdeer – the streamer quickly realized that his trusty mount didn’t clear the water as gracefully as he’d hoped. Instead, the Pokemon plunged him directly into the depths below, leaving Toast to simply watch as his trainer haplessly flailed around. After respawning into the map, his character fell back into the water and proceeded to drown for the second time. However, it was his third respawn that had the chat in hysterics. In order to stop the perpetual spawn trap from continuing, Toast waited before inputting any directions. Instead, he used the time to assess the situation and find a safer way across the stream. Unfortunately, a nearby Buizel had other plans, and the water-type Pokemon slammed into Toast’s character, sending him plummeting into the water once again. The comical timing couldn’t have been any better, and we can’t wait to see the rest of Toast’s adventure through the Hisui region.

  • Disguised Toast banned on Twitch after watching video with slur in it – Dexerto

Disguised Toast banned on Twitch after watching video with slur in it Facebook Gaming partner Jeremy ‘DisguisedToast’ Wang has been banned on Twitch after reportedly watching an old PUBG montage that included a homophobic slur. While DisguisedToast doesn’t use Twitch as much these days since his move to Facebook Gaming, he often returns to the platform to hang with his old chat in a more “Just Chatting” format. However, the former Twitch partner turned poster boy of Facebook Gaming has been wiped from his old home — at least temporarily. The 1.8 million follower ‘DisguisedToast’ Twitch account was banned on April 24, shortly after a huge stream with over 40,000 peak viewers. Wang confirmed it on Twitter minutes later. https://twitter.com/DisguisedToast/status/1386179809353420801 “[It’s] not a big deal since I don’t usually stream there, but [it] does mean I have to avoid playing with any friends streaming for a few days,” he said on Twitter. The streamer was banned for “unmoderated hateful conduct,” which is prohibited under the platform’s Community Guidelines. Toast clarified it was likely to do with a homophobic slur in a PUBG rage compilation he watched with his chat. “[I] didn’t get a specific reason, but if I had to guess: I was watching an old twitch clip of mine that includes a toxic player using the f-slur against me. Will try to be more careful in the future,” he added. Toast will not be able to play games like Valorant on-stream with his OfflineTV friends, as Twitch may also ban them. He also can’t play Among Us with them, the game that shot him back to stardom in 2020. However, he recently announced that he was taking a break from the party game. Toast’s ban will only last “a few days.” Typically Twitch hands down three-day suspensions for these offenses, so expect to see Toast back and chatting to his fans on April 28.

  • Disguised Toast trolls Sykkuno fans by pretending to be him on Twitch – Dexerto

Disguised Toast trolls Sykkuno fans by pretending to be him on Twitch Disguised Toast/SykkunoPopular Twitch streamer Jeremy ‘Disguised Toast’ Wang recently trolled Sykkuno fans by pretending to be him on Twitch. Following on from Sykkuno’s recent move to YouTube, the popular streamer has been busy building his fanbase over on his new platform. So far, his channel has 2.8 million subscribers, with this figure steadily growing as each day goes by. While his departure from Twitch came as a surprise to many long-time fans, the popular content creator still continues to pull in viewers with his light-hearted content. However, in order to capitalize on his departure from Twitch, Disguised Toast hatched the perfect plan. Disguised Toast trolls Sykkuno fans on Twitch https://twitter.com/SykkunoUpdates/status/1524541192318472192 During his recent Valorant stream, Disguised Toast decided to host Sykkuno’s YouTube stream on his channel. Toast even changed the title of his video to “definitely Sykkuno here, support me with those Twitch Primes.” Instead of switching on his camera and greeting his viewers, Toast continued to let the stream play. However, his absence from the Valorant party didn’t go unnoticed and Sykkuno quickly voiced his confusion. “I’m confused as to what’s happening, guys. There’s literally nobody here. Toast is being me on Twitch, is that legal?” the streamer asked. This silence was quickly broken when Disguised Toast unmuted himself and demanded Sykkuno talk about Twitch Prime. It was at this moment that Valkyrae interjected and explained how viewers could help content creators by using Twitch Prime to subscribe to their channel. “We have fun here, we goofing. Now hopefully I don’t get sued by either platform,” said Toast. “I guess the only person that could sue me, would be you Sykkuno.” Whether Disguised Toast’s latest stunt will net him with more Twitch subs or a warning from both streaming platforms remains to be seen. Either way, his posing as Sykkuno led to a lot of laughs from both his chat and Sykkuno himself.

  • Disguised Toast explains why Twitch stars like xQc will never be “household names” – Dexerto

Disguised Toast explains why Twitch stars like xQc will never be “household names” YouTube: OfflineTV / Twitch: xQcJeremy ‘Disguised Toast’ Wang has explained why Twitch stars like Felix ‘xQc’ Lengyel can’t become “household names” like television and movie celebrities, claiming gaming is still too “niche” — and they might never eclipse traditional entertainers. In the third episode since the OfflineTV Podcast’s returned to YouTube, Disguised Toast sat down with Imane ‘Pokimane’ Anys and explained why he thinks internet stars can’t become household names like other celebrities. To illustrate his point, he referred to streaming giants like Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins and Felix ‘xQc’ Lengyel. He claimed that despite making waves on the internet and even in real life, gaming is still too “niche” to compare to other industries. “The biggest impact a gamer has had would be Ninja. He made a lot of money, and it kind of paved the way for those platform deals. Ninja’s manager was really smart about what he did and kind of set all of us up,” Toast said. But while he thinks it would be “cool” to reach that level, he thinks it isn’t enough to become a “household name.” The main reason is that gaming is still too “niche” compared to more traditional things like acting. Toast also used xQc as an example: “Not a lot of people would know him, right? If you’re into gaming, you’ll know him. But a lot of people still aren’t into gaming.” “Maybe gaming reaches a point one day where it’s synonymous with television and movies. That would be cool. That would be very nice. But we’re still far from there.” Toast revealed that he’s “thought about” making a short film with the OfflineTV crew. However, he fears that the audience would be too caught up with identifying them. We’ll have to wait and see whether that happens. But in the meantime, he’s still branching out in other ways — like hosting the podcast once again.

Disguised Toast threatens to delete “clickbait” YouTube clip channels with strikes Twitch: Disguised ToastPopular Twitch streamer Jeremy ‘Disguised Toast’ Wang has hit out at YouTube channels that are clipping his livestreams for “clickbait.” Clip channels can be an important tool to help fans catch highlights from a streamer’s feed if they’ve missed out in some way. However, some creators have landed in hot water after moments from their livestreams have been clipped and taken out of context by some YouTube channels. But, Disguised Toast says he has “had enough.” The Twitch star has even claimed that he will have any clip channels deleted if they continue to “clickbait” his content. Disguised Toast slams YouTube clip channels Disguised Toast was streaming from Japan on August 1 and was describing his brief tour around a ‘Love Hotel’ in Tokyo. However, he suddenly stopped himself to send out a warning to clip channels. The streamer claimed: “If there’s any clip channels out there and you clickbait anything I say, I’ve had enough. I’ve seen so many clips channel take my words and sentences out of context and post it on YouTube for mad views. I notice that. If you do it one more time, I will copyright strike you and I will have your channel deleted because it’s getting out of hand.” Toast quickly got back on track and told his story of his short look at the hotel and explained he went there to “rest.” His fans praised him for the move praising Toast for calling them out and to go “get ’em!” The streamer has been open about his struggles with creating content following on from his OTV trip to Japan. Although, it’s clear he’s not afraid to call out clippers who take his work out of context for views.

  • Disguised Toast thinks he knows why he wasn’t invited to Jimmy Fallon’s Among Us lobby – Dexerto

Disguised Toast thinks he knows why he wasn’t invited to Jimmy Fallon’s Among Us lobby YouTube: Jimmy Fallon/Twitch: Disguised ToastTwitch streamer Jeremy ‘DisguisedToast’ Wang has explained why he was left out of the Among Us lobby that Jimmy Fallon hosted with Valkyrae, Sykkuno, Gaten Matarazzo, and more. When Jimmy Fallon organized an Among Us game with some top actors and streamers, there was one notable omission from the list of players, with Toast — who played a huge hand in the growing popularity of Among Us — missing out. It’s something his peers pointed out after the fact, with Valkyrae admitting she was “really bummed” that he wasn’t there. While Toast himself was probably pretty bummed, too, he’s spoken out a bit on the situation and why he thinks he might have been left out. While there was never a reason given for Disguised Toast being left out — Fallon might not have even known Toast was involved with this crew of players at all — the streamer does have an idea. “One thing I thought about a lot is maybe I don’t have that mainstream appeal,” he said. “When I look at Rae, who’s funny and very animated, and a beautiful woman. CORPSE has music, a cool personality, deep voice. Sykkuno, nice voice, cute boy.” While his fans would disagree, Toast obviously believes that he lacks some of the qualities his peers have that would entice someone like Jimmy Fallon and his massive audience across America. While Toast was speaking, many in his chat were arguing that he does have many of the traits he listed about his friends, arguing that he definitely should have been invited to join. While not guaranteed, another opportunity like this could come up, and, with support from the likes of Valkyrae, Disguised Toast might get to be involved next time.

  • Disguised Toast splits fans by admitting he’s scared about “opening up” – Dexerto

Disguised Toast splits fans by admitting he’s scared about “opening up” YouTube: OfflineTVFans were left divided on Twitter after streamer Jeremy ‘Disguised Toast’ Wang opened up about his fear of being left “vulnerable” by opening up to others. As a result, he claims he feels he has to be “mean to people” because he’s scared of being rejected. Twitch streamer Disguised Toast has enjoyed a great deal of success on the Amazon-owned platform in recent years. With 2.6 million followers on the platform, as of writing, Toast’s livestreams can pull in hundreds of thousands of viewers at a time. Not to mention his wholesome friendship with his fellow ‘Amigops‘ Valkyrae, Sykkuno, Disguised Toast, and Corpse Husband has warmed the hearts of streaming fans across the world. However, in an emotional Twitter post, Toast claimed that even he still struggles to open up to people he cares about. One of the reasons is, that he is afraid of being rejected. Disguised Toast admits he’s scared to “open up” In a tweet posted on May 4, Disguised Toast split fans after he shared that his fear of rejection affects how he behaves towards the ones he loves. “Sometimes I feel like I have to be mean to people that I care about,” the 30-year-old said. “Because if I’m nice and try to be close with them that means opening up myself to be vulnerable.” Stating that he finds the idea of opening up “terrifying,” Toast shared that he was scared of opening up in case that part of him is ‘rejected’. As a result, he acts “distant […] so that it’ll never happen.” sometimes i feel like i have to be mean to people that i care about because if im nice and try to be close with them that means opening up myself to be vulnerable and thats terrifying because what if they reject that part of me so i act distant instead so that it’ll never happen — DSG Toast (@DisguisedToast) May 4, 2022 Fans split by Disguised Toast tweet Toast’s tweet sparked a wave of debate among his fans as shared their own experiences. For example, some argued that Toast should be able to be his “true self” around others rather than worry about having to be “nicer.” If they really care about you they will not mind if you are meaner or nicer. People have a range of emotions depending on their current state. You should be able to be your true self and whoever stays around you will stay because of the true self that they enjoy to be around. — Strawbree_Red (@StrawbreeRed) May 4, 2022 However, Toast’s fans were quick to show him love regardless, promising him that they ‘appreciate’ all the hard work he does for them. That’s understandable but also, if you open up and they reject you, then they probably weren’t really your friends or you’d be better off finding people that will accept you and be by your side! — Hannah 😈 (@hlclementine) May 4, 2022 Although it’s not entirely clear what prompted the tweet from Toast, it has nonetheless been a huge week for the streamer, due to the drama surrounding his Rust Twitch Rivals Tournament. Not to mention, the announcement that his friend Sykkuno was leaving Twitch for YouTube shook the streaming community.

Disguised Toast shocked after AI creates perfect painting of LilyPichu Twitch: disguisedtoast / Instagram: lilypichuTwitch streamer Disguised Toast was left shocked after AI made a startlingly accurate digital painting of fellow broadcaster LilyPichu. Artificial Intelligence is taking social media by storm, thanks to a wealth of programs that can generate images, stories, and full-on podcasts with a few text prompts. One of the most popular AI programs is the Dall-E 2, which can create original artwork and images based on a series of text prompts from users (think, “a black cat wearing a witch hat”). Another popular AI program, similar to the Dall-E, is called NovelAI, which can also generate full stories based on text prompts, alongside images. Disguised Toast creates “perfect” artwork of LilyPichu using AI Twitch streamer Disguised Toast decided to test the limits of technology and see what NovelAI could come up with in its infinite wisdom. After trying out a few humorous, fictional scenarios, he wanted to see how the AI would fare at making an actual person based on descriptive adjectives. Toast settled on fellow streamer LilyPichu, a musician and voice actor who is also part of OfflineTV. Toast described her as follows: “Pink hair, round glasses, flower in hair, Asian, short, has two Pomeranians, playing piano, young woman, in pink dress.” The forthcoming image was shockingly accurate to how LilyPichu actually looks, and Toast couldn’t contain his surprise. “Woohoo, wait — LilyPichu? Yo, now I can send this to her and say I commissioned this art,” he joked. “This is perfect. You can be an artist.” Toast decided to generate another image for good measure to specifically include one of Lily’s dogs, although it didn’t have the same vibe as the previous picture. This is just the latest AI moment to take over the internet after a program called podcast AI created an entire episode of the Joe Rogan podcast with special guest Steve Jobs.

  • Disguised Toast slams FaZe OGs amid Grace Van Dien drama – Dexerto

Disguised Toast slams FaZe OGs amid Grace Van Dien drama Disguised ToastTwitch streamer Disguised Toast has hit out at the FaZe Clan ‘OG’ members, following uproar from members and the community with the organization’s latest recruit, Stranger Things star Grace Van Dien. From what started out as a group of teenagers quickscoping in Call of Duty, FaZe Clan is one of the biggest and most notable gaming organizations in the world. Over the last decade, FaZe has transformed into an organization that was once valued at $1 billion and is now even a publicly traded company on the Nasdaq exchange. However, the road to the top certainly hasn’t been smooth, with prominent members such as Nordan ‘Rain’ Shat being one of many to speak out recently — criticizing the company for the direction it’s heading in. Furthermore, the organization has recently faced major backlash from its fans and “OG” members after Stranger Things actress Grace Van Dien joined the streaming roster on May 25. However, Twitch streamer Disguised Toast has jumped to her defense, hitting back at the critics. Disguised Toast backs Grace after FaZe backlash During the beginning of Toast’s May 28 broadcast, the 31-year-old hit out at the FaZe Clan “OGs” — condemning them for the wave of hate sent towards the organization’s latest recruit. “It’s very sad to see the kinda hate she’s receiving from FaZe,” he said. “Like with the FaZe quote on quote OGs. I get that it definitely sucks to see something you care about like your org become something that you don’t necessarily agree with, but you also signed the contracts, you also were a part of FaZe when this transition was happening.” The Twitch star continued, calling FaZe members out for “shilling” and “scamming” fans with crypto coins. “You guys were also a part of FaZe when you were shilling crypto coins, and suddenly it’s too far when you guys sign quote on quote the girl from Stranger Things.” He added: “Scamming kids with crypto coins, yeah whatever, signing Grace, ‘oh this isn’t the FaZe I know’ like bro, it’s not an overnight thing.” The crypto coins situation Toast is referring to was the Save the Kids coin controversy, which resulted in a number of members of FaZe being kicked or suspended. Earlier this year, FaZe Clan were served a deficiency notice from the Nasdaq stock exchange, warning them the company could be delisted if they fail to recover their share price to over $1 and remain at that price for 10 consecutive trading days before September 19, 2023. While the organization appears to be making a slow recovery over the latest 30 days, the value of their stock sits at just $0.55 USD.

  • Disguised Toast shares interesting theory about how Valkyrae boosts his views – Dexerto

Disguised Toast shares interesting theory about how Valkyrae boosts his views Twitch: DisguisedToast / YouTube: ValkyraeTwitch streamer Disguised Toast shared his interesting take on why collaborating with YouTuber Valkyrae boosts his viewership numbers. The OfflineTV creator also revealed a big reason why views were “artificial” during the Among Us craze. When popular content creators stream together, the collaboration has the potential to draw in a massive audience by bringing multiple fanbases together in one place. According to Jeremy ‘Disguised Toast‘ Wang, however, there is a specific reason why viewership numbers become boosted. The Twitch star revealed how playing games with Rachell ‘Valkyrae‘ Hofstetter may have led to artificial views. Disguised Toast explains how Valkyrae boosted his views During his December broadcast, the OfflineTV creator opened up to his audience about his streaming numbers. According to Toast, he had gained a substantial boost in viewership while recently playing Escape Room Simulator with 100 Thieves Co-Owner Valkyrae. “I noticed during my stream with Valkyrae, I went from 21,000 viewers to 31,000 viewers,” he said. “I didn’t know I had 31k viewers until after and I was trying to understand why.” He then shared his theory that fans are hopping between the two streams. “One reason I can think of is because we were both streaming and competing, people like hopping between the two perspectives. So I don’t know if those extra 10k viewers are people from her channel,” the streamer said. While Disguised Toast called the bump in views “artificial” if his theory was correct, he went on to explain to his audience why Among Us also had inflated viewership numbers due to collaboration streams. “One of the reasons why a lot of viewership went up for Among Us is because viewers hopped. A lot of stream hopping. And they tended to hop towards the imposter. The reason why streamers loved being imposter, is that viewership for imposter players in any lobby doubles.” It’s an interesting theory and a good insight into how audiences may behave when two streamers they like are playing together. If nothing else, it also shows how co-op games can change the behaviors of viewers.

However, he added he would “do better next time.” The tournament may have had a rocky start but it still proved a hit among fans and with Fall Guys continuing to dominate Twitch, it likely won’t be the last challenge on the cards.

They bought the ENTIRE Atlantic Ocean. It was a giant plate,” he laughed. “And I asked KKatamina if I’m allowed to eat it. And she said ‘yes you can’.” So it appears the culprit was KKatamina, who had told Mizkif it was okay to eat Disguised Toast’s dinner. All jokes aside, the OfflineTV star wasn’t actually mad and found the situation amusing. Wang also backed up the OTK owner’s claims and admitted that the platter of food was actually pretty massive and bought for the whole house.

  • Disguised Toast reveals biggest concern about Japan trip with OTV friends – Dexerto

Disguised Toast reveals biggest concern about Japan trip with OTV friends Disguised ToastPopular Twitch streamer Jeremy ‘Disguised Toast’ Wang has revealed his biggest concern about the OfflineTV Japan trip. With the members of OTV now in Japan, Disguised Toast and his friends have been busy sharing IRL streams of their adventures. With the likes of Scarra, LilyPichu, Michael Reeves, QuarterJade, Yvonne, and Valkyrae, OTV fans can expect plenty of fun-filled moments. Of course, like most trips, there’s always a mixture of excitement and a little apprehension that comes with exploring an unfamiliar destination. This is especially true when traveling to a country you have minimal experience in. However, for Toast, his biggest concern didn’t involve the usual travel woes and worries. Instead, the streamer outlined his comical concern during his recent stream, which sent his chat into hysterics. Disguised Toast reveals biggest OTV Japan trip concern While the cast of OTV has been busy exploring Japan and enjoying the food and surrounding cityscapes, there is one activity Toast isn’t looking forward to. “We might still do the spa (onsen) thing where we have to look at each other naked,” the streamer said. It’s important to note that traditional onsen etiquette requires people to enter the hot spring unclothed. Guests can bring a small towel with them to use as a washcloth, which can also help people keep their modesty when walking between the washing area and the baths. However, not all onsen enable this cloth to be taken into the bath itself, which is what Toast is concerned about. “That’s all I’ve been thinking about, like when the time comes, am I going to be able to do it? I don’t know, I haven’t decided. You don’t want to be the guy that doesn’t do it. We have four dudes in OTV, and with staff, it’s about 5 dudes. It’s an all-in or we’re all out kind of deal.” Timestamp of 0:45 The streamer previously discussed this very situation with LilyPichu, who couldn’t help but laugh as he explained his comical concern. However, it’s certainly something that has been playing heavily on Toast’s mind. “I would have to live with the fact that I know every man’s penis looks like in OTV,” said Toast. “I don’t think it will affect me that much, but it’s something I’d have to live with. I think everyone will have a normal penis, but even if they don’t, I’m not going to judge, but I will live with that knowledge.” Toast then began to laugh and explained how he didn’t want to be the one to back out of the situation, even if it was a little awkward. “I could just not look, I think that’s the play. I’m going to tell the guys that I’m going to meet them at eye level. I am not going to flick my eyes down.” Toast has a few days to decide whether he will take the plunge or not, but regardless, the streamer will certainly have both a memorable story to tell and an eye-opening experience.

  • Disguised Toast responds to rumors about streaming on YouTube or Twitch – Dexerto

Disguised Toast responds to rumors about streaming on YouTube or Twitch Disguised ToastOfflineTV star Jeremy ‘Disguised Toast’ Wang has opened up on his potential next move in streaming after departing Facebook Gaming after two years. It has become pretty commonplace in the streaming world for content creators to leave behind their original platform and sign a lucrative deal elsewhere. Amid some of the wild switches between Twitch and Mixer, as well as Twitch and YouTube, Disguised Toast’s departure to Facebook Gaming marked the first major move between the two. Though, he revealed that Twitch made him a pretty lowball offer at the time which made the switch easier. Despite moving to Facebook, Toast retained the ability to stream on Twitch but didn’t have any partner benefits. Now, after leaving Facebook following the end of his contract, some fans believe he is nailed on to return to Twitch. Though, he hasn’t made any official just yet. “You think I should go to YouTube or Twitch, guys?” Toast asked viewers during his appearance on day 12 of Kkatamina’s epic subathon. “For the record, I haven’t signed anything. People think I have like a plan and I’ve signed, but I’m going to be upfront with you guys, I actually, legitimately have not signed anything yet.” As viewers filled the chat with their answers on where they’d like to see Toast go next, he jokingly made a point about moving to YouTube. “If I do YouTube, I can collect an Infinity Gauntlet of all three streaming platforms,” he quipped. “But, I’m already pretty big on YouTube, my channel is one of the bigger ones, so technically you can check that box off, right.” Topic begins at 8:14 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M1CUFZJeCQo&t=494s In terms of potentially receiving offers, the OfflineTV member continued with his line of trolling. He claimed that “no one” wants him and said he’d accomplished nothing online, but fans quickly saw through that one. It remains to be seen as to how Toast’s situation will shake out as he plenty of pals on both platforms. Who knows, he might even choose to stream on both YouTube and Twitch like he did with Facebook and Twitch.

  • Disguised Toast explains why he returned to social media, but doesn’t interact – Dexerto

Disguised Toast explains why he returned to social media, but doesn’t interact YouTube: Disguised ToastJeremy ‘Disguised Toast’ Wang explained why he doesn’t interact with people on social media despite returning, revealing he still has everything muted for the sake of his mental health. In July 2021, Disguised Toast decided to step away from social media — specifically Twitter — because it negatively impacted his mental health. He returned a couple of months later but has barely interacted with anyone on it, including his friends. He explained why in a YouTube video posted on March 18, revealing that he still has practically everything on the platform muted and only uses it to promote his streams even though he can’t see any replies. “I didn’t delete my Twitter. I just removed all my tweets and essentially muted everyone I followed,” he explained. “I didn’t block them because when you block them, you unfollow them, and they can’t see your tweets.” He did that because he didn’t want to offend other streamers. “When it comes to influencers and streamers, they are very dramatic. A block or unfollow is the biggest insult you can give another influencer, apparently.” Since ‘returning,’ he has posted here and there to promote his streams but doesn’t interact with anyone because he still has everything muted. “I no longer see any posts from anyone or any of the replies to my tweets. “[It] was destroying my mental health. I would see a streamer post a selfie and see positive comments from people [despite knowing they] talk sh*t behind their back. I couldn’t handle that.” Abstaining from social media interaction hasn’t impacted his popularity in the slightest. He won the Best Strategy Game Streamer award at The Streamer Awards and was nominated for Best Variety Streamer. It’s not all that surprising since Toast’s fans get plenty of interaction with him on-stream, regardless of whether he’s making insane plays on Hearthstone or getting saved by Sykkuno from Elden Ring invaders.

  • Disguised Toast returns to Twitch after leaving Facebook Gaming – Dexerto

Disguised Toast returns to Twitch after leaving Facebook Gaming Twitch: DisguisedToastJeremy ‘Disguised Toast’ Wang has announced his return to Twitch just a week after his departure from Facebook Gaming. On November 17, Wang announced his departure from Facebook Gaming just two years after signing a contract that made the creator one of the major faces of the brand. Soon after the word spread that he was leaving, fans of Toast provided less than subtle suggestions that he move back to Twitch. On November 22, the OfflineTV member responded to rumors about his return during an appearance on Kkatamina’s stream by asking viewers: “You think I should go to YouTube or Twitch, guys?” Just two days after responding, DisguisedToast has officially announced his new home—and he’s back on Twitch. Disguised Toast returns to Twitch After a week of fans of the creator being dead-set on his return to the purple platform, he has released a video on Twitter explaining his decision. In the video, he stated: “Hello, It’s been a while. Didn’t think I’d be back here so soon but here we are. Two years. Time for a new platform and I’m excited. This place, I always felt at home, and a lot of viewers and fans watch me on this platform. It just made sense.” https://twitter.com/DisguisedToast/status/1463568169633673217?s=20 When Wang signed his contract with Facebook, he was able to still stream Just Chatting content on his Twitch channel despite the company taking away his partner status. However, now that he has returned back to where he originally started and has amassed over two million followers, the company gave the creator his status back.

Disguised Toast responds to backlash over “support small streamers” tweet Jeremy “Disguised Toast” Wang is one of Twitch’s top content creators, boasting over 1.2 million followers on the site – but he’s encouraging his viewers to send their subscriptions to smaller streamers, instead. On November7, Wang announced that he’d turned off all donations to his channel and asked his fans to send their $5 subscriptions to streamers with smaller audiences. “After turning off donations on my stream, I’m going to ask all my viewers to not subscribe and instead use that $5 and sub to a smaller streamer instead,” he Tweeted. “When you’re watching the stream, you’re already giving tons of support, so thank you.” After turning off donations on my stream, I’m going to ask all my viewers to not Subscribe and instead use that $5 and sub to a smaller streamer instead. When you’re watching the stream, you’re already giving tons of support so thank you. Go make someone’s day with that sub! — Disguised Toast (@DisguisedToast) November 7, 2019 While it might seem that Wang’s actions were ultimately for a good cause, not everyone was pleased with his statement, with critics taking to sites like Reddit to complain about the announcement. In fact, one critic accused the streamer of “grandstanding” – an insult that Wang responded to during a broadcast the very next day. “How do I tell people to sub to smaller streamers without making a Tweet about it?” he asked sarcastically. “…how do you do that quietly? How do you tell one million followers on Twitch and 200k followers on Twitter quietly? https://www.reddit.com/r/LivestreamFail/comments/dt2mcu/disguised_toast_to_begin_discouraging_viewers_not/That wasn’t the end of the streamer’s sarcasm: he went on to echo the sentiments of a commenter within the thread, who’d joked that he should have “privately messaged each viewer individually.” “You know what? That’s what I should have done,” Wang continued. “Chat, can you send me your emails, so I can email you individually, and to not make a big statement to cover all my bases at once?” Although a tongue-in-cheek jab at the criticism, Wang’s statement acts as an answer for those wondering why he’d decided to Tweet his statement rather than merely announcing it on-stream – as a means to “cover all his bases.” While it’s unclear exactly how much dough streamers like Disguised Toast actually earn, the streamer broke down some of his own numbers in a video last year- and its safe to say that he’ll likely be fine without his donations, instead opting to help out fellow streamers in the community.

  • Disguised Toast responds to calls to bring back OfflineTV Minecraft server – Dexerto

Disguised Toast responds to calls to bring back OfflineTV Minecraft server Disguised Toast/MojangTwitch star Jeremy ‘Disguised Toast’ Wang responded to some fans asking him to bring back the OfflineTV Minecraft server now that the game has received a massive update. Over the last few years, the OfflineTV group has paved the way for streamer-based servers across a variety of different games. They’ve done Rust a few times – even though it has caused plenty of chaos – and they’ve even dipped their toe in Minecraft. While Minecraft was way less chaotic than Rust – but still had plenty of hijinx of its own – the server eventually petered out as the streamers looked for something new to play. Now that the classic sandbox title has received a pretty big update with the release of The Warden NPC, some fans would like to see the server get a new lease of life. However, Disguised Toast isn’t too sure about bringing it back. Disguised Toast responds to calls for OfflineTV Minecraft server after 1.19 update The Twitch star was hosting one of his regular Q&A stream sessions during his June 27 broadcast, when the idea to bring back Minecraft was floated by viewers and his guests, LilyPichu and Michael Reeves. “I think a problem with Minecraft is that it has become so content that I don’t know how to go back to treating it like Minecraft, you know,” Toast said. “It’s been so like, oh Minecraft server it’s going to pop off, we’re going to invite this streamer and that streamer, its like ‘lets get Dream and TommyInnit on’ kind of deal, right? “I need to learn to just have a regular old Minecraft server (to just play the game) and I don’t know how to capture that feeling. Even if it’s like small, people are going to be like ‘Hey can I play’ and it’s all this extra factor.” While Toast isn’t completely opposed to bringing back the server, it seems as if it would certainly take some time before he’d want to do so. Some of his OfflineTV pals have been competing in Minecraft events, so maybe they’ll be able to get him involved before long. We’ll just have to wait and see.

  • Disguised Toast predicts multiple streamers will be canceled over “skeletons” in closets – Dexerto

Disguised Toast predicts multiple streamers will be canceled over “skeletons” in closets Twitch/DisguisedToastTwitch star Jeremy ‘Disguised Toast’ Wang shocked viewers by revealing that multiple streamers could be canceled soon over “skeletons” in their closets. Much like traditional celebrities, Twitch streamers have had their fair share of scandals in recent years with past discretions coming back to haunt them. Sometimes, however, these scandals fly under the radar until they’re eventually disclosed to the public resulting in some major drama and depending on the seriousness, severe repercussions. During a June 2 stream, Disguised Toast was answering viewers’ questions and revealed that some popular stars on the platform could be getting in serious trouble over some of their past actions. Disguised Toast claims streamers could be getting canceled soon “I’m very aware of everyone’s skeletons in the closet,” the Offline TV star revealed. “And I think it says a lot about their character.” While the streamer didn’t disclose anyone in particular, he did say that he and his friends are planning on having a party and some of the cancelable figures are invited. “I was looking at the guest list and I’m like, ‘f**k this guy, f**k this guy, f**k this guy. I don’t like them.’ But the other people are like ‘what’s wrong with them? They’ve always been chill,’” Toast claimed, noting how he’d never tell others the reason why. “Honestly, some of them, I swear to God, will be canceled within the next year,” he added. “But I can’t say anything, because what am I going to say?” It remains unclear exactly who Toast was referring to and what their offenses are. However, if these streamers do in fact attend this party, viewers might be able to piece together some pieces of the puzzle. In any case, if Toast’s prediction about the streamers being canceled within the next year holds true, we shouldn’t have long to wait until they’re revealed.

  • Disguised Toast explains why he respects YouTubers more than Twitch streamers – Dexerto

Disguised Toast explains why he respects YouTubers more than Twitch streamers YouTube: OfflineTVJeremy ‘Disguised Toast’ Wang revealed he respects YouTubers more than Twitch streamers, and he explained why, claiming it’s because they can exist independently from each other. During an OfflineTV Podcast episode featuring Matt Stonie, a popular YouTuber with more than 15 million subscribers, Toast said that he respects YouTubers more than streamers despite being one himself. After highlighting some fundamental differences between the two, he explained why he feels that way, referring to the fact that streamers are “incentivized to collaborate” while YouTubers can make it on their own. “I feel like I have more respect for YouTubers,” said Toast, putting it bluntly. “But that also might be because I’m so deeply integrated with the streaming community. I know how the sausage is made, and it is ugly. “I think it’s easier for YouTubers to exist independently from each other. Like, they can just do their own thing. Whereas with streaming, you are very incentivized to collaborate, and it kind of creates very weird dynamics. “You’re also in competition because a viewer can only watch one live stream at the same time, for the most part. Whereas with YouTube, it’s like, I can watch this video then I can watch that video in my own time.” In the end, that’s what ultimately shapes his view. “You can be successful on YouTube on your own, and that is more respectable to me than it coming down to who you know, who you collab with, and the amount of drama you farm.” Toast admitted there are probably lots of “middle-tier drama channel” YouTubers who do things in a similar way to certain Twitch streamers, and if he were aware of them, he’d have less respect for them, too. However, he’s a massive fan of the way the YouTubers he does watch go about their content and believes it’s more deserving of his respect.

Disguised Toast parodies Will Smith’s slap with Kkatamina for “embarrassing” him at Streamer Awards Disguised Toast / YouTube: The GuardianPopular Twitch streamer Jeremy ‘Disguised Toast’ Wang has gone viral following a tweet he made parodying the Will Smith Oscars slap. The Oscars recently made headlines after Hollywood actor Will Smith slapped comedian Chris Rock. This altercation has since gone viral, with many content creators using it in memes and video compilations. It’s certainly one of the most iconic moments from the awards ceremony and one that has quickly dominated entertainment headlines. Now, Disguised Toast has capitalized on the Will Smith Oscars slap by parodying the event. After all, just like the Oscars, Disguised Toast’s night at the recent Streamer Awards ceremony didn’t go as planned. While the popular streamer has previously highlighted his most embarrassing moment, he has decided to take it a step further. However, things didn’t exactly go as planned. After going in for a hug, Kkatamina simply turned around, leaving Toast to awkwardly accept his reward and face the laughs from the crowd. This was arguably the most comical moment from the ceremony and one Toast has been keen to highlight. While Kkatamina has since apologized for the awkward situation, Disguised Toast decided to use the recent Will Smith Oscars slap to a comical effect. The content creator used a screenshot of the iconic moment, photoshopping Kkatamina’s face onto Chris Rock’s and his own onto Will Smith’s. The streamer jokingly asked: “So, we’re allowed to slap people who embarrass us at awards shows now?” This tweet has since gone viral, receiving 65.3K likes, and even another gained attention from Kkatamina, who reacted to the situation on stream. It’s clear both Toast and Kkatamina have enjoyed the humor that has come from the Stream Awards, and this likely won’t be the last time both content creators mention the failed hug attempt.

  • Disguised Toast pokes fun at Ninja’s costly streaming MasterClass: “I do the opposite” – Dexerto

Disguised Toast pokes fun at Ninja’s costly streaming MasterClass: “I do the opposite” Twitch: Disguised Toast/YouTube: Drew GoodenDisguised Toast has poked fun at Ninja’s streaming MasterClass workshop, reacting to some of the advice by completely undermining the advice being given. Earlier this year, popular streamer Ninja released a MasterClass series. The MasterClass launched in March 2022 and is available for anyone to purchase for $180 USD per year. Since its creation, many other streamers have shared their thoughts on both the concept of a streaming MasterClass but also the specifics of what Ninja is teaching throughout it. Many even criticized the content and the concept as being a ‘cash grab.’ YouTuber Drew Gooden recently uploaded a video to his YouTube called: “I took Ninja’s MasterClass and it ruined my life.” In the video, Gooden explained how he purchased Ninja’s MasterClass and spent the 40-minute run time essentially making fun of the whole thing. His reaction video has since garnered over 2 million views. Shortly after Gooden uploaded his video, Disguised Toast quickly released a reaction to it. Specifically, Toast reacted to some of the advice that Ninja was offering up in his MasterClass. In the MasterClass video, Ninja delves deep into building a community. What up-and-coming streamers can do to build their viewership and gets people to like and follow them and their content. When reacting to this section of Ninja’s streaming MasterClass, Disguised Toast gave a very honest and potentially sarcastic answer to one particular section of the video. Ninja’s MasterClass is a series of videos, advice, and content that is meant to help fans and new streamers make their big break. One thing Ninja highlights as being important is building a good rapport with one’s community. Creating a safe space for people to come in and share whatever they want in the space. However, Disguised Toast’s reaction to this advice is a stark contrast. “I do the f***ing opposite”, began Toast. “Someone tells me about how sad they are and I’m like, I don’t give a sh*t you’re bringing down my vibes f**k off.” For anyone interested in Ninja’s MasterClass sessions, all the details can be found via the website link here.

  • Disguised Toast on why he decided to stay in Japan following OTV trip – Dexerto

Disguised Toast on why he decided to stay in Japan following OTV trip Disguised ToastTwitch streamer Jeremy ‘Disguised Toast’ Wang has revealed why he’s staying in Japan and not returning to LA. The two-week OTV Japan trip has come to an end for the members of the popular entertainment group. Not only did their latest adventure prove to be incredibly popular amongst viewers, but it has also made a huge impact on many of the members’ lives, especially for Disguised Toast. In fact, the popular streamer had previously revealed that the Japan trip had changed his attitude toward streaming and money. He also voiced his concerns over returning to LA as it didn’t “seem as enticing anymore.” This obviously raised questions over whether Toast would be quitting OTV, but for now, the content creator has decided to stay in Japan. Here’s exactly what Disguised Toast had to say on the subject. Disguised Toast explains Japan trip extension “I thought about going back to the states and then I realized something. Back in the states, the highlight of my week was Sussy Sunday,” said Toast. “Don’t get me wrong, Sussy Sunday is a Sunday, it is a day, but should it really be the highlight of my week?” For many streamers, creating content and entertaining thousands of viewers can get rather difficult, especially when you’re not really enjoying the process. Toast went on to reveal that his current life in LA has become rather stagnant. “I kind of know everything that is going to happen if I go back to LA,” explained Toast. “Maybe someone will ask me to play Valorant for the day, maybe I try this game at night, maybe I go on and do a podcast at the OTV house, then Sussy Sunday on Sunday.” “I could just imagine me living my life day to day. At least in Japan, I feel like it’s definitely harder but more different.” When asked how long Toast would stay in Japan, the streamer revealed that he didn’t actually book a return flight. “Turns out, if you just don’t get on the plane, you can just stay in Japan…I’m here legally chat before you start calling the cops,” joked Toast. “Our visa is a one-time entry so you can enter the country one time, with the visa we got, but if you leave you can’t come back, you have to get a new visa.” Toast’s current visa lasts for 90 days and took two months to acquire, so he plans to take full advantage of this extra time. Whether he’ll stay for the entire duration remains to be seen, but for now, expect to see more Disguised Toast streams live from Japan.

  • Disguised Toast admits OTK deserved Best Content Organization award over OfflineTV – Dexerto

Disguised Toast admits OTK deserved Best Content Organization award over OfflineTV Twitch: QTCinderellaJeremy ‘Disguised Toast’ Wang explained that OTK deserved to win the award for Best Content Organization at The Streamer Awards because they had a big year in terms of stream content. The Streamer Awards, which ended up being a smash-hit on Twitch, commemorated the achievements of the best streamers throughout the past year. However, there was also an award for the Best Content Organization. OTK, an organization created and owned by a slew of big names, including Asmongold, Esfand, and Mizkif, managed to beat the other three candidates; OfflineTV, 100 Thieves, and NRG, to win the prestigious award. Disguised Toast believes OTK “one-hundred percent” deserved to win the award. The topic came up after a fan asked him how it happened, and he explained why, claiming they’re “really good” at doing stream content. You can’t fault their passion for creating content and they’re finally They’re getting their production issues sorted. Congrats to @OTKnetwork , the Best Content Organization for 2021! #TheStreamerAwards pic.twitter.com/6f8cFxfl3z — The Streamer Awards (@StreamerAwards) March 13, 2022 “How did OTK beat OTV and 100 Thieves? I would say over the last year, OTK has been doing a lot of good stream content,” said Toast. They’ve racked up countless hours of quality content throughout the year. In contrast, he believes OfflineTV and 100 Thieves excelled in different areas. “I would say OfflineTV does better YouTube content. No contest compared to the other two. 100 Thieves is pretty good at selling merch.” However, OTK had a better year in terms of stream content, which is what the award was all about. “OTK is just really good at doing stream content. “They have done so many collaborations and game shows.” For that reason, Toast insisted OTK “one-hundred percent” deserved to win the award for Best Content Organization more than the other candidates, including OfflineTV, and he had no qualms about them winning it. Although OfflineTV didn’t win the award and Disguised Toast missed out on winning the Best Variety streamer award, he did take home the award for Best Strategy Game Streamer, which is a throwback to his roots. He wasn’t the only OfflineTV member to win an award, either. LilyPichu won the award for Best Music Streamer, and Pokimane won the Legacy Award. So, it still wasn’t a bad day in the office for the organization.

  • Disguised Toast may bring back Twitch’s TV meta with Naruto watch parties – Dexerto

Disguised Toast may bring back Twitch’s TV meta with Naruto watch parties Twitch: Disguised Toast / Viz MediaDespite copyright strikes becoming a prevailing issue on Twitch, Jeremy ‘Disguised Toast’ Wang shares plans for Naruto Shippuden watch parties on stream with timeline shooting for the end of the upcoming year. The ‘TV meta’ took Twitch by storm early in 2022 as streamers toed the lines with copyright rules to broadcast TV shows and anime to thousands of fans. Disguised Toast was a big proponent of the meta, really popularizing it by streaming Naruto and other shows on his channel. While it died off after numerous strikes and bans were handed out, it could be coming back — with Toast once again leading the charge. When mentioning the idea on the Offline TV podcast in front of guest star and anime YouTuber Gigguk, he exclaimed “you’re playing with fire man!” Toast has planned to watch more Naruto Shippuden on stream, but is wary of getting more copyright strikes against his channel. He already has one from the first TV meta, and another would put him on a knife’s edge. If any streamer gains three strikes they’re out: Twitch permanently bans them from the platform. Therefore he has two more strikes before permanently losing his channel. “They don’t just delete your channel, they will stop you from creating new channels and you can’t appear on anyone else’s stream,” Toast explained. However, when discussing his reasoning as to why he wants to stream Naruto Shippuden, he stated: “I like doing things that are… interesting.” Though he doesn’t elaborate too much on this, as it’s clearly a secret, he’s been known for experimenting with Twitch before. His plan to stream Naruto is likely in correlation with Toast’s mentality that there’s a potential partnership to be had with broadcast companies and streamers. There’s a lot to be hashed out in regards to legal ramifications, but Toast believes in the potential of this idea. “The reason why Twitch doesn’t take action against these infringements, legally, if they do it without a report, they are admitting there is infringement happening on the platform. If you do it for one, then you have to do it for all.” Disguised Toast hasn’t fully committed on this idea yet, but he is clearly thinking about the big picture. If he does receive a copyright strike while attempting this project though, then he’ll forgo all risk taking shenanigans in the future.

Disguised Toast mortified by his most embarrassing moment at Streamer Awards Disguised ToastJeremy ‘Disguised Toast’ Wang has revealed his most embarrassing incident at the Streamer Awards ceremony, giving fans a hilarious insight into his mortifying moment. The Streamer Awards are a place of celebration and excitement. Not only does the event enable popular content creators to claim recognition for their hard work, but it also gives many fans the opportunity to see their favorite content creators in a new light. However, just like other award ceremonies, there are times when things don’t exactly go as planned. This is especially true given the overall size of the Streamer Awards and the whole thing being a live event. Disguised Toast has highlighted one such moment where things didn’t exactly go as planned for him, giving fans a hilarious play-by-play of his most embarrassing moment. Disguised Toast reacts to Streamer Awards fail Disguised Toast won his award for being voted the best Strategy Game streamer, which he excitedly claimed from kkatamina. However, things didn’t exactly go as planned and the streamer revealed exactly what went wrong. “I went for the hug as you do at these awards,” explained Toast. “Like, I’ve seen the Oscars. You always give a hug to the presenter, like [as a] thank you.” Unfortunately, kkatamina simply turned around, leaving Toast to awkwardly accept his reward and face the laughs from the crowd. “You can pinpoint the exact moment my heart broke in two,” said the streamer. Toast then proceeded to play the clip in slow motion for his viewers to see. “It’s right about here, with my arms outstretched that the realization that she turned around hit me. It’s alright, not a lot of people saw it, only like a few hundred thousand people.” It was clear Toast found the situation comical as he couldn’t hold back the smiles when rewatching the clip. While he didn’t manage to successfully land the hug, kkatamina did post a picture of both streamers embracing after the event, Tweeting: “I’m so sorry and congrats! “I had extreme stage fright.” Live settings are never an easy thing and even the most experienced streamers can land themselves in awkward moments, but Toast and kkatamina certainly saw the funny side of this interaction.

Among Us blew up with content creators in the back half of 2020, with hijinx ensuing every time a lobby of streamers and YouTubers got together. At the forefront of that wave was Disguised Toast, who was recognized by some as probably the best Among Us player around thanks to his 200 IQ plays and dastardly antics whenever he was in the role of the imposter. He even joked that he was ‘the Among Us guy’ after being left out of a star-studded lobby including some of his pals, Jimmy Fallon, and the stars of Stranger Things. He recently stated that he’d be moving on from Among Us from a number of different reasons, but he’s now brought that chapter to a close. With the calendar turning from April to May, some fans noticed that the Facebook Gaming star hadn’t uploaded one of his daily videos to YouTube. Toast finally addressed the absence on May 1. “You probably noticed. It’s the end of an era. After uploading Among Us videos EVERY single day for the past eight months, I have finally ran out of Among Us content and didn’t upload anything yesterday,” Toast posted. “It’s been a life-changing journey – excited to see what’s next for me and my friends.” https://twitter.com/DisguisedToast/status/1388345578954756097 In terms of what’s next, well, who knows. Toast’s group, which involves the likes of Valkyrae, Corpse Husband, Sykkuno, Pokimane, and more, bounces from game to game quite regularly. Recently, Sykkuno has been on a GTA RP hit, and Toast has joined him – though he is playing offline. Corpse wants to get involved too, so maybe that’s the play? Either way, whatever game they decide to pick up next, fans will follow given just how entertaining they all are together.

  • Disguised Toast lays out his conditions for boxing match after Sykkuno idea – Dexerto

Disguised Toast lays out his conditions for boxing match after Sykkuno idea Twitch: Disguised Toast/SykkunoStreaming star Jeremy ‘Disguised Toast’ Wang has explained what it would take for him to get involved in an influencer boxing fight by responding to the idea that he could fight his good friend Sykkuno. Before the Paul brothers decided to start taking on actual athletes and fighters, influencer boxing events were all about settling personal beefs and creating unique content for fans. While the events did take a break for a period, they have started making a return following the success of iDubbbz’ Creator Clash, to which he has confirmed there will be a follow-up. 100 Thieves star Valkyrae has confirmed that she’d like to take part in an event, which prompted fans to ask her pals if they’d be involved too. Sykkuno, one of Rae’s regular partners for gaming sessions, was quizzed by fans he’d get involved, to which he confirmed his interest and stated that he could possibly fight Disguised Toast, given they’re built quite similarly and it could be a fair bout. Well, now Toast has echoed a handful of Sykkuno’s comments, stating that a fight between them could be possible. Though, he’d be willing to fight a few other streamers as well. “I would consider it… probably Sykkuno (as an opponent) because I think he’s one inch taller than me and we are similarly built,” he said during his June 2 stream. “But, I don’t think I want to punch my good friend Sykkuno… or would I? “Anyone who is like 5’7′ would be good. Ludwig? But Ludwig is significantly heavier than me. Not because he’s fat or anything, it’s because he’s got more muscles, it would be a weight difference. Mizkif? I don’t think Mizkif would be willing to fight me though.” As we’ve seen previously, plenty of creators have registered their interest in fighting, but when it comes time to strap on the gloves and start training, they often back out. It remains to be seen if we’ll actually get to see Toast and Sykkuno in the ring – be it facing each other or different opponents – but it would certainly create plenty of interest.

  • Disguised Toast makes brief Twitter return amid Valkyrae RFLCT drama – Dexerto

Disguised Toast makes brief Twitter return amid Valkyrae RFLCT drama After wiping his Twitter account clean, OfflineTV’s Jeremy ‘Disguised Toast’ Wang made a brief return to social media amid the drama surrounding Valkyrae and RFLCT. The immense sharing power of Twitter is unrivaled when it comes to connecting with fans and peers. However, the website can take its toll with prolonged usage. Back in July, Disguised Toast revealed he’d be taking an extended break from social media following concerns for his mental health, prompting him to wipe his Twitter account. In his absence from Twitter, Toast has continued making videos – recently joining Pokimane on the OfflineTV podcast – but with the ongoing drama surrounding his pal Valkyrae and the RFLCT skincare products, he decided to jump back in. Returning to Twitter amid RFLCT drama Valkyrae’s RFLCT skincare line was a project that she claimed was “two years” in the making, but its release has been met with a fiery response from the internet due to the controversy around claims it makes about blue-light. The 100 Thieves co-owner has addressed the drama on multiple occasions, noting that some of her pals had reached out to support her amid the backlash, but some didn’t. With fans trying to guess who didn’t attempt to help Rae, Toast dropped a cryptic tweet of the classic Simpsons gif where Abe Simpson walks into a building before walking back out second laters. Plenty of fans quickly suggested that it was a reply from Toast about Valkyrae’s comments, but not everyone was so sure. “Toast this tweet is twisted by a Redditor as a response for Rae,” said one. “He said he not f**kin witchyall clowns today,” added another. Some even suggested it was others posting on his account. “Why do I have this feeling that Toast didn’t tweet this?” another commented. Whether Toast remains active on Twitter going forward remains to be seen, but some fans aren’t counting on it.

  • DisguisedToast joins Facebook Gaming as Twitch exodus continues – Dexerto

DisguisedToast joins Facebook Gaming as Twitch exodus continues Popular streaming personality Jeremy ‘DisguisedToast’ Wang has announced he’s joined the ever-growing Twitch exodus, and will be streaming exclusively on rival broadcasting platform Facebook Gaming from this weekend. Following huge personalities like Tyler ‘Ninja‘ Blevins, Michael ‘shroud‘ Grzesiek, and more recently FaZe Clan’s first-ever female member Ewok, jumping ship from Twitch, many have had their eyes peeled for who might follow them out the door. All eyes turned to leading Teamfight Tactics streamer DisguisedToast late this week, after he shared a mysterious message that hinted at a move to either Twitch, Facebook, or even YouTube like 100 Thieves star Jack ‘CouRage’ Dunlop. Disguised Toast joins Facebook Now, the streaming star has officially announced he will be one of the first major Twitch streamers to make the platform jump to Facebook Gaming. Facebook’s newest star Toast explained that, because the social media giant has a global reach of more than 2.4 billion active users, 700 million of whom tune in to gaming content, he felt he could expand his streaming reach to new horizons. “One of my favorite things about streaming is that I get to engage with viewers from across the world,” the new face of Facebook Gaming said. “Throughout my career, I’ve made it a priority to learn about different cultures and experiences. My move to Facebook will give me a larger platform to share my voice with a global audience and hear their perspectives on the gaming landscape.” The streamer, who made headlines in recent months for asking fans to donate and subscribe to smaller streamers instead of himself, also added that Facebook’s approach to “helping others in need” was a big part of his final decision. “Facebook and I share a deep understanding about the importance of giving back,” he said. “I have always admired Facebook’s proactive approach to philanthropy, and I am excited about working together to support children and families in need.” Disguised Toast also revealed that, as part of his move to Facebook Gaming, he would be donating 100% of his net proceeds earned through new platform feature Facebook Stars to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital during his first month. Facebook Stars is a feature that allows content creators to monetize their streams through one-time donations from viewers for charity. This will be on top of DT’s recent $20,000 donation to the Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. Who is Disguised Toast? Jeremy Wang, better known online by moniker ‘Disguised Toast,’ first rose to fame as a Hearthstone content creator, building decks, creating infographics, and showing off strange interactions between cards on YouTube and Reddit. In the beginning, Wang kept his face covered with his now-famous toast-shaped cardboard mask, and chose the name based off classic Rogue card ‘SI:7 Agent,’ which announces “this guy’s toast” upon entering the battlefield. “I first started out with the lore videos because they were niche,” he said. “Anyone can show cinematics, there’s nothing about me. As time went on and I started to get more viewers, I created the Toast persona to get myself into the video.” After an on-stream slip-up revealed Wang’s true identity, the streamer admitted the look behind the charade may have ruined his career — the 27-year-old assumed that without the cool identity, no one would want to see his content anymore. The man behind the toast Disguised Toast had feared that, without his stand-out slice of toast plastered to his face, he would see dipping numbers, and potentially lose the momentum that he’d gained over the past year of building a following. Instead, the opposite happened. The Hearthstone community’s support for the strategist and fledgling pro player flourished, and his popularity on YouTube, and on his rising Twitch channel, exploded as he continued to create content. Wang even dabbled in the Hearthstone professional scene, making it to the top 32 at ONOG Major Circuit at PAX East, but accidentally self-sabotaged his chances when he overslept and missed a series of matchups. He was disqualified. Though pro play hadn’t gone as well as he had hoped, Disguised Toast soon found himself joining stream-team Offline TV alongside major names like Imane ‘Pokimane’ Anys, Federico ‘Fedmyster’ Gaytan, and William ‘Scarra’ Li in 2017. Although the Hearthstone star eventually began moving away from Blizzard’s collectible card game, his popularity never wavered as he made the switch to Riot Games titles like League of Legends, Teamfight Tactics, and Legends of Runeterra. In October 2019, Disguised Toast led the way into Riot’s newly announced Runeterra CCG, topping the game’s Twitch channel with nearly 20,000 concurrent viewers, and solidified his place among the top streamers on the platform. The new Facebook Gaming star has confirmed his first stream will be shortly after his official announcement, and said he plans to go live on Friday, November 22, from 12pm PT. He will be mainly streaming Teamfight Tactics during his first broadcast. With Facebook well and truly announcing themselves in the ongoing streaming wars, it looks like there could be plenty more announcements on the horizon, both from personalities staying on Twitch, or swapping Facebook, YouTube, or Mixer.

  • Disguised Toast jokes he would ‘sell his soul’ to join Kick for money for LCS slot – Dexerto

Disguised Toast jokes he would ‘sell his soul’ to join Kick for money for LCS slot Disguised ToastStreaming star Jeremy ‘Disguised Toast’ Wang jokingly said he’d ‘sell his soul’ for a Kick deal that would allow him to purchase an LCS spot for a League of Legends team. Over the past few years, a number of content creators and streamers have given their backing to teams and individual players in different esports through short-term sponsorships. Disguised Toast has gotten involved with this pretty recently, venturing into both Valorant and League of Legends. He’s not managed to make his way into the top level of either just yet, but his Valorant Game-Changers squad left him a bit emotional when they became the first Disguised team to qualify for a final. His League of Legends team currently plays in NACL but has plenty of LCS experience. While there is money, and bragging rights, up for grabs, there isn’t promotion in play for NACL teams. Though, Toast has his eyes on an LCS spot. Disguised Toast “would” take Kick deal to buy LCS spot It was something that came up during his July 30 stream as he watched his NACL team in action. Fans asked if he’d throw his hat into the ring to purchase TSM’s spot in LCS, seeing as that is up for sale. Toast joked that he had “200k” of the “20 million” needed to buy the spot from TSM, but had an idea about making up the rest. “Guys, I’m going to come out and say it, if Kick offered me a contract, I would take it so I could buy an LCS spot,” he said. “I’m going to do whatever I can to bring more esports jobs to the scene. If that means selling my soul, that is a burden I will bare – like Jesus!” Some fans saw it as a completely sarcastic statement, but it’s not like it’s completely out of the realm of possibility. Kick has been dishing out some seriously big contracts to streamers – xQc got $100 million and he isn’t even exclusive to their platform – so Toast could demand a big. Though, given his previous move to Facebook, maybe he’d need the $20m to buy an LCS spot and then some.

  • Disguised Toast hits back at people trying to cancel him over “problematic” comments – Dexerto

Disguised Toast hits back at people trying to cancel him over “problematic” comments Twitch: Disguised ToastJeremy ‘Disguised Toast’ Wang has issued a long and detailed response after people condemned him for supposedly “problematic” comments he made in the past. It’s been a turbulent few days for Toast. After announcing he is quitting Among Us – his main game for the past year – Toast has been convinced to release an impassioned response to accusations of problematic behavior. The OfflineTV member was criticized by some on social media for allegedly making racist and sexist jokes in the past, and calling for others to call him out as well. And after a “thoughtful and well-written message” from a fan, Toast saw fit to respond to these allegations and address people’s concerns head-on. Toast responds to accusations of problematic comments On May 2, Toast posted a detailed Twitlonger which sought to respond to five key allegations made against him. Toast explained the importance of “transparency” to him, and urged people not to attack his friends from OfflineTV and Amigops. “I have always toed the line of “edgy” humor when it comes to my online presence,” he said. “Over the last 5 years, I’ve developed a more sarcastic, blunt, and satirical personality. There’s nothing about what I’ve done publicly that I have tried to hide, or delete, or claim ignorance to.” Toast refuted accusations of racism, which related to a joke he made over two years ago, which he claims was regurgitated from a website. “Trying to educate me that it’s offensive has no weight because we all knew it was offensive, that’s why it was censored,” he explained. https://twitter.com/disguisedtoast/status/1388836361445298176?s=21 Toast reminded critics of his own previous experiences with racism, which involve being “spat on” and “being called Jackie Chan”. “This obviously doesn’t make me immune to being racist,” he explained. “But reading an offensive joke doesn’t make me one either. He also responded to criticism over a joke during a game of pictionary where he drew a girl to represent the word “illegal”. “I don’t support pedophilia (I can’t believe I have to even say that) and it honestly surprises me that some stans are trying to cancel me for this one,” he added. “I’m pretty sure it’s clear that even with the worst opinion of me, people can recognize that I’m saying pedo = bad. Toast further rebuked claims he advocated for rape and use of the “R slur”. In both cases, he described the claims as unsubstantiated, with no clips or VODs to back the accusations up. Toast concluded by explaining his intention to ‘tone down’ his jokes in the future. “Moving forward, I will try to be a lil bit less edgy,” he said. “But that type of humor is something I grew up with and do personally find humorous. “If you take it at face value, without context, without knowing me – I can understand why I might come off as a bigot. But even if you don’t respect me, at least respect the opinion of the people around me.” Read More: Toast caught playing GTA RP off stream – Toast isn’t the only high-profile content creator to be criticized for past actions this month, with MrBeast crewmember Karl Jacobs coming out to apologize for his previous association with controversial streamer Ice Poseidon. Either way, it remains to be seen whether this rebuttal will be strong enough to quell the uproar from certain sections of internet users.

  • Disguised Toast immediately regrets letting Twitch viewers control his Amazon shopping – Dexerto

Disguised Toast immediately regrets letting Twitch viewers control his Amazon shopping Disguised Toast/TwitchTwitch star Disguised Toast allowed his chat to buy items from Amazon to celebrate the holiday season when one hilarious item made it through that shocked the streamer. Disguised Toast is a streamer that genuinely enjoys interacting with his viewership. Since his return to Twitch, he’s hosted a handful of segments that have been centered around his fans. In his latest stunt, he allowed them to pick which items to buy from Amazon, things took a turn when one viewer’s bizarre choice nearly got Toast in deep trouble. Toast viewer picks hilarious gift The Twitch streamer was hosting a “Chat Buys Gifts” segment where viewers could suggest any product under $100 and a bot would select the first result from Amazon to purchase. Toast had a “Current Poll Results” tracker on the side of the stream, where the submission “sex doll” held a commanding lead amongst the field of gifts. When the bot selected “sex doll” as the winner an image of the product it chose came up when Toast instantly shouted, “Oh My God, that’s TOS.” Disguised Toast, having just returned to Twitch, no doubt wanted to avoid a ban from the platform for displaying the image that certainly goes against the site’s terms of service. After he cracked up and removed the image, and the entire poll, from the stream. Thankfully, the streamer didn’t receive a ban for the incident and was able to wrap up the gift-buying segment.

  • Disguised Toast explains why he no longer wants his viewers to subscribe – Dexerto

Disguised Toast explains why he no longer wants his viewers to subscribe Popular Twitch streamer and Offline TV crew member Jeremy ‘Disguised Toast’ Wang surprised his audience November 7 by legitimately dissuading his viewers from subscribing to his channel. Broadcasters typically rely on both donations and subscribers to grow their Twitch channels, but it seems like Toast is doing away with both of them. Fans will remember that the streamer turned off donations back in August, which in itself meant that a huge revenue stream was cut off. But the successful Hearthstone players and content creator is now upping the ante by encouraging his faithful followers to simply enjoy his content without the pressure of putting money down. In a November 7 tweet, Toast announced the next part of his benevolent Twitch plan that involves his audience making other streamers happy with subs. “After turning off donations on my stream, I’m going to ask all my viewers to not Subscribe and instead use that $5 and sub to a smaller streamer instead,” Disguised Toast said, noting that views to his stream is more than enough compensation as far as he’s concerned. “… Go make someone’s day with that sub! After turning off donations on my stream, I’m going to ask all my viewers to not Subscribe and instead use that $5 and sub to a smaller streamer instead. When you’re watching the stream, you’re already giving tons of support so thank you. Go make someone’s day with that sub! — Disguised Toast (@DisguisedToast) November 7, 2019 Of course, there are portions of his loyal audience who won’t easily give in to the streamer’s request – especially since there are year-long+ sub streaks at risk for many of his viewers. With that said, people will notice that the actual sub button on Toast’s stream will still be present and clickable. Although there’s nothing he can do about that, he instead wants to rely on taking money from “big companies” from here on out. “I can’t turn off my sub button,” he said. “But I don’t need your money anymore… I’ve always said this, I love taking money from big companies like Blizzard, Twitch, YouTube and Riot, they got money. I’ll take money from them.” Toast will continue that venture by participating in the $300,000 Hearthstone Battlegrounds Tournament. Gonna be playing in the $300,000 Hearthstone Battlegrounds Tournament against some scrubs. You can vote for my team at https://t.co/aLdAget33T to earn rewards for picking the best team. pic.twitter.com/sIhcjrvVMB— Disguised Toast (@DisguisedToast) November 6, 2019 He later said how it “doesn’t make sense for [viewers to give him their] money,” and that his success prompted the new direction for his stream. “It’s not an odd flex thing,” Toast said. “It’s a math thing.”

  • Disguised Toast hits back after being called an “edgy” content creator – Dexerto

Disguised Toast hits back after being called an “edgy” content creator Twitch: DisguisedToastOfflineTV content creator and Facebook Gaming streamer Jeremy ‘Disguised Toast’ Wang has explained why it’s “crazy” to him that he’s considered an “edgy” person by certain sections of his viewership. Ever since his permanent move to Facebook Gaming in 2019, Toast sightings on Twitch have been rare. Occasionally, though, he does pop up to speak to followers on his original platform. Prior to a Vegas meetup with streamers like Yassuo and Sykkuno, Toast hosted a quick Q&A with his fans on Twitch. As part of the stream, Toast mused over people labeling him an ‘edgy’ streamer and explained why he finds it odd to be described in such a way. Toast is no stranger to accusations of being “too edgy.” Back in May, he responded to criticism for making offensive jokes in the past after a Twitter thread from a concerned fan, where he explained how edginess is “something [he] grew up with.” But he took time to delve into this perception further, and explained how he believes he is perceived very differently by different kinds of people. “There’s this juxtaposition or dichotomy because in my time on Twitch, these past 5 years, I’ve been pretty consistently [called] egotistical, arrogant, rude, and edgy, and I’m not even considered edgy by Reddit standards,” he said. “People call me a Disney kid streamer and it’s crazy because you’ve got the LSF (r/livestreamfails) streamers who label OfflineTV as the Disney channel, and then you’ve got these new Minecraft and Among Us kids who label me as too edgy.” Toast has no idea how this contradiction surfaced in the first place. He added: “So what happened? How am I edgy to this crowd of people and the Disney channel to this crowd of people?” Toast has clearly embraced the “edgy” label in the past, but he has stated he will try to tone that side of his humor down. But whether this will lead to a less polarized perception of his personality remains to be seen.

  • Disguised Toast explains why new streamers should avoid Twitch – Dexerto

Disguised Toast explains why new streamers should avoid Twitch Disguised Toast/TwitchTwitch and YouTube star Jeremy ‘Disguised Toast’ Wang released a new video about why he thinks only streaming on Amazon’s platform isn’t a good strategy for aspiring streamers. There are many avenues that exist to become a popular streamer on Twitch. Some are natural-born entertainers, some are incredible at the games they play, and others are unique content creators. Disguised Toast, a popular streamer, has helped fellow creators become successful. Streamer Kkatamina recently thanked Toast for helping her grow on the platform. Following this, he released a YouTube video detailing how other people can achieve the same success. Disguised Toast on avoiding Twitch On November 28, Toast released a video titled, “this ONE trick will make you a famous streamer…” Throughout, he laid out two major avenues aspiring streamers can go down to become successful and advised against purely streaming on Twitch as their only content output. “You should never begin your streaming career by making a Twitch account, and just starting to stream. Because you will not get any viewers,” he said. “You guys know how bad the Twitch discovery system is?” He went on to call the discovery system “s**t,” and said: “If your strategy to becoming a streamer is to just start streaming and pray for the best it won’t work, you would require luck… So I always say if you want to start content creation, specifically streaming, to never start streaming as your first plan of action.” Toast then laid out the two main ways he thinks are key to becoming a hit on Twitch: The first is to be a good player at the game you broadcast. The second is to build up a presence on another platform like YouTube, Reddit, and TikTok by creating unique content about the subjects or games you are interested in. He mentioned that the second avenue is the one he took, and the one he would recommend to most as being a top player in a specific game is incredibly challenging. “If you want to be a big Twitch streamer, don’t start streaming on Twitch,” he finished. “Start anywhere else with a good algorithm. Find out what’s popular, build an audience there, then eventually transition into streaming once you’ve given people a reason to care about your content. You have to set yourself apart from everyone else.”

  • Disguised Toast shares his first impressions on meeting Dream: “It took me a second” – Dexerto

Disguised Toast shares his first impressions on meeting Dream: “It took me a second” YouTube: Disguised ToastDream’s face reveal has been everywhere online with the popular content creator finally unmasking himself. While on the OTV podcast, Disguised Toast shared what it was like meeting the star for the first time in the flesh, being taken aback somewhat. Dream is one of the biggest Minecraft streamers on the internet. He became even bigger with his face reveal on October 2 though. People were sharing opinions — good or bad — with various other content creators discussing the unmasking. Despite the famous streamer’s viral face reveal, Jeremy ‘Disguised Toast’ Wang struggled to realize who Dream was initially when meeting him for the first time in person. Toast shared the story of that fateful encounter on the Offline TV podcast. The meeting occurred in the private partner’s lounge of a streaming event. Dream recognized Toast, and walked up greet him. “It took me a second to realize who he was because I’ve never seen his face until he revealed it,” Toasted stated during the Offline TV Podcast. The other members of podcast then briefly discussed the Dream face reveal: “I’ve seen his face more than mine in the past couple days,” Scarra added. According to both Scarra and Disguised Toast, the Minecraft streaming community is very tight knit. Minecraft content creators regularly meet up for social gatherings, and because Dream hid his identity for so long, the massive Minecraft streamer couldn’t partake in the IRL meet ups. “It was cool to see him able to come out in public. All the Minecrafters, they hop on each other’s streams. So I imagine it was rough not to being able to do that,” Disguised Toast stated.

  • Disguised Toast gets outpouring of support after concerning outburst on stream – Dexerto

Disguised Toast gets outpouring of support after concerning outburst on stream Twitch: Disguised ToastDisguised Toast has received an outpouring of support on social media after he said some potentially concerning things to Valkyrae, CorpseHusband, and Sykkuno live on stream. Jeremy ‘Disguised Toast’ Wang has been on a break from making content for about a month. He has still streamed occasionally to meet his contractual obligations, however he’s been on less than usual. However, now there is some concern about his mental health after he said some concerning things to his friends on stream. At first, it was hard to tell whether it was serious, a joke, or a cause for concern. But it seemed like a pretty big deal when Valkyrae quickly ended the stream. “I’m thinking about trying acid soon,” said Toast. Everyone was speechless and looked confused. But eventually, they asked him what he said, and he repeated, “I’m thinking about trying acid soon.” Sykkuno looked unsettled, although he managed to muster a few words. Valkyrae, on the other hand, said, “You know we’re all streaming!” Then, both of them asked him whether he was okay. “I’ve gotta live life as openly as possible,” said Toast. “Wait, is acid illegal? I know weed is legal.” Valkyrae and Sykkuno pointed out they think the two substances are “very different” and are indeed illegal. “Toast, I think we need to have a family dinner. He’s totally lost me,” said Valkyrae. Sykkuno re-iterated his concern, too. “Have I sounded okay in the last couple of months?” said Toast. “Do I sound okay when you talk to me, and you hear the things I say? It’s only because of the drugs that I sound okay. If I didn’t have the drugs, I’d be in even worse shape. Thank you, drugs!” “Toast is scaring me,” said Valkyrae, a little later in the stream. “I’m [very] concerned. I think the fact that he’s talking about it openly on stream is a sign of reaching out. We’re going to have a talk.” Eventually, Corpse Husband joined the fray and offered Toast his number. “Toast, I DM’d you my number,” he said. “You have to text me [your number in return]. They’re streaming. Don’t say it out loud.” However, Toast referenced drugs once again, which drove Valkyrae to end the stream. “Wait, no, now people are gonna think I’m actually on drugs,” said Toast. “Well, I am, but you know, they’re gonna think it’s a problem.” After that point, everyone ended their streams. The way it abruptly ended left many fans concerned about his wellbeing. Shortly after, Valkyrae wrote on Twitter, saying, “Check on your friends.” Many considered it a follow-up to Toast’s situation, which exacerbated their fears and concerns even more. One fan asked whether Toast was trolling or whether there was an actual cause for concern. “Are we actually need to be worried about toast, or was he just trolling?” she wrote. Fortunately, Valkyrae responded and confirmed that there is no apparent cause for alarm. “He’s fine!” she said. “Just made me realize everybody else, including myself, should check in more.” He’s fine!! Just made me realize everybody else, including myself, should check in more — RAE (@Valkyrae) January 30, 2021 Regardless of the outcome, Toast’s supportive community of fans and fellow streamers is standing by his side.

  • Disguised Toast explains why he doesn’t want to go back to LA after Canada trip – Dexerto

Disguised Toast explains why he doesn’t want to go back to LA after Canada trip Disguised ToastPopular streamer, Jeremy ‘Disguised Toast’ Wang, has given his thoughts on his Canada trip and return to Los Angeles. Disguised Toast recently traveled to Canada for a much-needed break, as well as to spend time with his family. During his downtime, the popular streamer has been playing Pokemon Legends Arceus, while also exploring the sights around Vancouver. His IRL streams have certainly attracted a lot of attention from local fans, with some even trekking miles to see the streamer. Many viewers have been excited to see where Toast’s next adventure takes them. However, during his recent outing around Vancouver, Toast gave his honest thoughts on LA and why he may not return. Instead, he may end up staying in Canada for good. Disguised Toast on staying in Canada “This is my vacation, I do it every year to escape from Los Angeles and OTV. It’s always Toast do this, Toast do that,” laughed the streamer. There’s a small chance I don’t go back to Los Angeles, a very small chance. Like a 1% chance.” It’s clear that Disguised Toast enjoys the peacefulness and beauty of Canada, particularly when compared to the hustle and bustle of LA. “I could just stay in Canada, buy a cabin, live in the snowy mountains like a hermit. No one will ever know. It will be nice and peaceful.” When discussing his lifestyle in LA, Toast stated: “There’s only streaming in LA and industry events. I can’t, don’t make me go back. Don’t make me go back, I don’t want to be content anymore. I’m ready for retirement,” joked Toast. While he said that his chances of staying in Canada may be slim, Disguised Toast and OTV fans will have to see what he does next. • Disguised Toast explains why he thinks he was snubbed from Jimmy Fallon’s Among Us stream – Dexerto

Disguised Toast explains why he thinks he was snubbed from Jimmy Fallon’s Among Us stream Facebook: Disguised ToastOne of the biggest Among Us streamers, Jeremy ‘Disguised Toast’ Wang, was notably absent from Jimmy Fallon’s April 6 Among Us Twitch stream, which featured Valkyrae and Sykkuno. Toast explains that he’s “not as big” now, which is why he may have not been invited. As part of Jimmy Fallon’s continued efforts to embed himself in the esports, gaming and influencer culture, he fired up his Twitch stream and invited some of the biggest names to play Among Us with him. Viewers could of course watch live, but the stream will also be used for a segment on an upcoming episode of his show. The stream featured Noah Schnapp and Gaten Matarazzo from Stranger Things, along with Corpse_Husband, Sykkuno, and Valkyrae. But, Disguised Toast, one of the original streamers who helped Among Us explode in popularity, wasn’t part of it, and this disappointed not only him, but his fans too. “I was big when Among Us first started,” Toast explained, “but I’m not as big as the others, anymore. It just doesn’t make [sense from a] marketing perspective for Among Us or Jimmy Fallon to have me on, instead of the others. “I’m always going to be fourth. It doesn’t matter what I did for the game at the beginning, it’s what is more marketable now. It’s just business. This is not the first time stuff like this has happened.” Toast is referring to being fourth of the ‘Amigops’ group: Valkyrae, Sykkuno, Corpse Husband, and Disguised Toast. Toast: “I was big when AU first started, but I’m not as big as the others anymore. It doesn’t make any marketing perspective for AU or Jimmy Fallon to have me on instead of the others. I’m always going to be fourth, it doesn’t matter what I did for the game at the beginning.” pic.twitter.com/yhRpvI2FD7 — waffle 🍞 (@Wafflebreadx) April 6, 2021 Toast continued, explaining that he doesn’t think his “brand” is very marketable. “Even when I was on Twitch, I wasn’t part of their marketing, or anything. Like, almost everyone in my circle were. At TwitchCon, I remember seeing the banners of a lot of my friends. “It doesn’t matter how many viewers I get, doesn’t matter how much I have an impact on the scene, it’s just always going to be someone better to promote. Is it a race thing? Is it a gender thing? This is reaching dangerous territory. I think, from a marketing perspective, there’s no reason why I stand out. Because if you look at me, look at my content for a little bit, there’s nothing there.” Toast now streams exclusively on Facebook, where despite the smaller audience for livestreamed content compared to Twitch and YouTube, he is still incredibly popular. But, from his comments, he clearly doesn’t feel like his decision to leave Twitch is the reason for missing out on these opportunities – even when on Twitch, he wasn’t featured like other big streamers.

His viewership is regularly above 10,000 on TFT as he has established himself as one of the better players, causing him to create multiple smurf accounts. His influx of viewers has led to an increase in subscriptions and donations which would normally be considered a good thing. However, he decided to get rid of donations as a whole, explaining how he felt bad for missing them and said he’s rich already so he doesn’t need the money. “Decided to remove Donations/Bits from my channel,” the OfflineTV member said. “Always feel bad when I end the stream and realize I didn’t acknowledge someone’s dono because I got too focused on the game. Give your money to charity or a smaller streamer instead, SINCE I’M RICH ALREADY WOOOHOO!” It’s a bold move for sure and not something you see very often from the big streamers on Twitch. In July, Blizzard sent him an exclusive card to reveal but he decided to return it, possibly indicating that his time with the game is in the past for good. Toast isn’t the only member of Offline TV that has fallen in love with Teamfight Tactics. • Disguised Toast explains why being a YouTuber is “harder” than Twitch streaming – Dexerto

Disguised Toast explains why being a YouTuber is “harder” than Twitch streaming Twitch: Disguised Toast/ YouTubeStreamer Jeremy ‘Disguised Toast’ Wang has shared that he has “way more respect” for YouTubers given how hard it is to make it big on the platform compared to Twitch. Numerous Twitch streamers have made the huge decision to switch from Twitch to YouTube as the rivalry between the two platforms continues to heat up. However, some streamers have struggled with the change and adapting to YouTube’s algorithm in their attempts to go viral. Now, popular streamer Disguised Toast has explained the difference between working on the different platforms and why it’s harder to break the barrier on YouTube. Disguised Toast claims it’s “harder” to be a YouTuber Disguised Toast appeared on his OfflineTV Podcast on July 1 with his fellow host Scarra and guest anime expert and Trash Taste podcast host Gigguk. The trio was discussing how streaming became particularly popular and “elevated” during the pandemic. However, Toast believes it is still “harder” to be a YouTuber than a Twitch streamer even though streaming has become more mainstream. “I have more respect for YouTubers,” Toast claimed. “YouTubers are definitely more well-adjusted in my opinion in terms of work ethic.” Timestamp of 4:30 However, Scarra added: “What I love about YouTube is I think it’s more rewarding to be creatively fulfilling. I feel like each video can be unique and cool and I feel like that’s more difficult to do with streaming.” The group also critiqued what they called “high-school” behavior among the streaming community in which streamers hit out at each other over their view count. Disguised Toast has always avoided any such rumors that he could also soon be moving to YouTube. However, he has previously claimed that “at least” 5 more streamers are moving to the platform following Sykkuno’s big switch.

  • Disguised Toast explains surprise exit from Twitter over mental health concerns – Dexerto

Disguised Toast explains surprise exit from Twitter over mental health concerns Disguised Toast (YouTube))Popular streamer Jeremy ‘Disguised Toast’ Wang has explained the reasons behind his departure from Twitter. Twitter is one of the most popular social media platforms in the world, with 330 million monthly active users since 2019. Like most people, streamers often use Twitter to communicate with their friends and fans. While the vast majority of social media is positive in its pursuit of connecting people, there are times where it can have an adverse effect. The biggest negative is the harassment, general negativity, and addictive nature of the app. These negatives are elevated even further when you’re a popular personality or well-known figure like Disguised Toast. Disguised Toast leaves Twitter During a recent stream, Disguised Toast explained why he finally made the decision to leave Twitter. “I should go on Twitter less. That app is not good for my mental health,” said Toast. “It sucks because Twitter is the platform for gamers, like every gamer/streamer is on Twitter, and I really want to stop. But I’m so desperate for any attention and recognition, that I can’t.” Just like most social media apps, Twitter can be incredibly addictive and the constant stream of information and interaction can prove tricky to limit. “I’m addicted to that dopamine when people are talking to me. It’s really bad, I know,” admitted Toast. “I need to stop, I need to figure out a way to use Twitter in a way that’s healthy, that’s not just me scrolling through the timeline seeing all this bulls**t.” Disguised Toast mentioned that Twitter has its positives, noting that he enjoys getting notified about upcoming game releases and other information he may not know about. However, the sheer amount of drama is keeping the popular streamer from having a healthy experience with the social media platform. As of writing, Toast has left the social media platform and removed his profile picture and banner. The account still has 1.4M followers and still comes up when searching for Toast’s username, but it appears that the Twitch streamer has, at least for now, left. Whether Disguised Toast will return to Twitter remains to be seen, but fans will still be able to interact with him via his Twitch livestreams.

Disguised Toast explains how the Streamer Awards helped his depression and anxiety Twitch: The Streamer Awards / YouTube: Disguised ToastTwitch star Disguised Toast opened up about his mental health in a recent broadcast, claiming that his appearance at the Streamer Awards helped ease his anxiety and depression. The inaugural Streamer Awards took place last weekend, recognizing the best and brightest in online broadcasting entertainment. Some of the biggest streamers were in attendance, including names like Pokimane, Valkyrae, Ludwig, and more. Disguised Toast was also one of the streamers making an appearance at the Awards — and he says that showing up to the black-tie event was a big help for his mental health. During a recent Twitch stream, Toast claimed that he’d been struggling with depression so much that he didn’t want to leave his room. “For those who don’t know, over the last month I’ve been mega, mega unmotivated and borderline depressed, and I don’t use that word lightly,” he began. “I was sleeping 16 hours a day. It was really bad. I didn’t want to leave my bed. The idea of meeting people gave me so much anxiety.” However, Toast said that going to the Streamer Awards was a major boost for him after interacting with fans. “The event yesterday helped a lot, because when people came up to me and said ‘Toast, I love your content,’” he explained. “It made me feel motivated, because I’m like, damn, you like my content? Because I haven’t been making content. I appreciate the words. It makes me not want to disappoint them… It was more them showing appreciation.” Toast also revealed that he’s been having difficulties streaming, saying he’s struggling to find a game he’s “passionate” about — but his viewers are giving him encouragement as he works through this tough period. The broadcaster notably took home the award for Best Strategy Game streamer, though his streaming group, OfflineTV, lost out on Best Content Organization – although he felt OTK deserved their win in that category.

  • Disguised Toast explains how Japan trip changed his attitude to streaming and money – Dexerto

Disguised Toast explains how Japan trip changed his attitude to streaming and money Disguised ToastPopular Twitch streamer Jeremy ‘Disguised Toast’ Wang has explained how the OfflineTV Japan trip has given him time to reflect on his world as a streamer. With the cast of OTV now back from Japan, Disguised Toast has used his downtime to reflect on the trip. The popular content creator documented his travels through IRL streams with the likes of Scarra, LilyPichu, Michael Reeves, QuarterJade, Yvonne, and Valkyrae. The OTV members certainly got up to some memorable moments and each member seemingly enjoyed their holiday. In fact, Valkyrae even revealed that she wants to move to Japan later in her life. However, upon leaving Japan, Disguised Toast realized how much the trip meant to him and how it has opened his eyes to life outside of streaming and playing video games. Disguised Toast reflects on Japan trip “I think it made me realize that I should be more efficient with my time. For example, are late-night Valorant five stacks fulfilling? I don’t know? Apparently, there’s this whole world out there beyond video games,” explained the streamer. “I still love video games. I feel like I’m having one of those ‘oh my god I went to a new country and now my world has changed’ kind of feelings. That’s really cliche and I’m not like that, but my world has changed.” Disguised Toast has previously taken time away from the hustle and bustle of LA, traveling to Canada for a much-needed break. Like many people, it’s often during these trips that Toast reflects on his current and future plans. “A part of life struggle is making money,” said the streamer. I’m fortunate enough to have money and yet, I don’t use the money to make myself happy.” “I’m still like stressed out about content every single day. I thought to myself, why did I make all this money if I’m going to be just as stressed?” It’s clear that the OTV Japan trip has been a time of reflection for Toast, and many fans will be wondering whether his recent adventure will have any impact on his commitments to streaming.

  • Disguised Toast explains how streaming on Facebook “hampered” his potential – Dexerto

Disguised Toast explains how streaming on Facebook “hampered” his potential Twitch: Disguised ToastOffline TV’s Jeremy ‘Disguised Toast’ Wang has explained how streaming on Facebook during the Among Us era “hampered” him as the game’s biggest content creator, as he believes he’d be much bigger than he is. When Among Us took over the internet back in 2020, there were a handful of groups and creators that became uber-popular thanks to their skills and entertaining lobbies, with Disguised Toast standing atop them all. The Offline TV star streamed the party game for hours on end and found massive success uploading his highlights to YouTube to boot. However, he was slighted a bit when he wasn’t invited to Jimmy Fallon’s lobby, even though his regular lobby mates were involved. At the time, Toast was streaming exclusively on Facebook Gaming and while he doesn’t regret the move, he does feel it hampered his potential in the moment and believes he’d have been even bigger if he was on Twitch like he is now. During his June 2 stream, Toast was hosting a fan Q&A with his viewers when one curious fan asked if he had any regrets about his streaming career to this point. “I really wish that I was on Twitch when Among Us popped off,” Toast answered. “I don’t regret signing with Facebook at all. A the time it was still the right choice, but I wish I was on Twitch because it was the biggest game in the world by a huge margin and I was the biggest content creator for it streaming wise, but I got severely hampered because I was on a platform that not a lot of viewers used. “I think I could have hit 50-60k (subscribers) during the peak phase with a potential to hit 100k during the insane collab lobbies, but we’ll never know. That’s the one thing I wish was different.” Toast further noted that the conversion rate between Facebook subscribers to Twitch subs is about “five times” biggest, and given he’d got up to 20,000 on his previous platform, he could have been massive on Twitch. Of course, he didn’t do too badly out of it anyway, but who knows how different things could have been.

  • Disguised Toast explains why he treats fans differently in person compared to on-stream – Dexerto

Disguised Toast explains why he treats fans differently in person compared to on-stream Disguised ToastIn a recent stream, Disguised Toast discussed with his viewers the difference between how he engages with his fans on a stream versus when meeting them in person. Disguised Toast has built a reputation for dragging his viewers in during his streams. However, when meeting people in person Toast appears to have a very different approach. On a recent broadcast, Toast admitted that he’s been “trying to be nicer to [his] viewers” and the way he has been doing this is by trying to mimic how he would act when “meeting them in person.” He added that this is because “in person, I’m an absolute delight, and I can’t imagine saying this to an actual fan in person.” “Like a fan comes up to me and says ‘hey Toast, today’s my birthday.’ Like on the internet I act tough like I don’t care, but in person, I’d be like oh my God, happy birthday, how old are you?” Toast also pointed out that while he can’t see the faces of the people in chat, meeting his fans in real life usually entails chatting to a younger demographic of fans. “When I meet viewers in real life they’re all super nice and sweet and sometimes they’re a little on the young side and I just imagine myself being mean to them. Cause when I’m mean to someone in chat I don’t see what you look like. You could be anything. You could be a middle-aged man, you could be a young school girl that’s watching her favorite Among Us streamer and I’m just f***ing insulting people, like making fun of them, telling them to like, eat sh*t.” After this, Disguised Toast then seemed to come to the conclusion that he “should treat every viewer like they are a nice, innocent, good person.” However, he very quickly backflipped on that sentiment. “Actually no, I would say the majority of Twitch viewers are a**holes, especially the ones that type when I’m playing a video game. Now that I think about it, anyone who backseats me when I’m playing games deserves to be flamed. I don’t care who they are. I don’t care if they’re Mother Teresa.”

  • Disguised Toast explains his trick to avoid playing ads on stream – Dexerto

Disguised Toast explains his trick to avoid playing ads on stream YouTube: Disguised ToastPopular streamer Jeremy ‘Disguised Toast’ Wang has shared his unique trick to ensure his fans avoid watching advertisements during his streams on Twitch. All content creators rely on ads to help with their income. However, they can also prove to be a nuisance for viewers. Twitch in particular has come under fire for the way previously it displays ads before a creator’s broadcast. In doing so, it can take fans anywhere between 15 seconds to a few minutes before they can view a stream. However, Disguised Toast has found a way to get around the rules making sure that his fans are entertained throughout his livestreams. Disguised Toast reveals smart Twitch ad trick On July 3, Disguised Toast spoke about his “cringe” trick of how he plays his ads at the end of his stream. However, he explained that there is a smart reason why chooses to do it. “This is the only way to prevent ads from playing on stream regularly,” he stated. “The way it works is on Twitch you need to hit a certain ad amount per hour. But, if you do like 20 minutes in an hour that means you can do zero minutes for three extra hours. So, this is what I do. I don’t end the stream. I leave my stream running for like several hours just spamming ads and this way when I stream regularly you guys don’t get ads.” His “genius” plan was subsequently praised by his viewers who thanked him for the thought, calling him a “man of the people.” Not only have Twitch viewers voiced their annoyance with the amount of ads on the website, but various streamers have also shared their concerns. Toast’s friend Sykkuno, for instance, fears that it is becoming a growing issue. There are no doubt numerous other streamers who use similar methods to keep their livestreams as content-fuelled as possible. Although, Toast’s fans were nonetheless very grateful.

  • Disguised Toast calls out lack of “respect” for Ludwig after Twitch Recap snub – Dexerto

Disguised Toast calls out lack of “respect” for Ludwig after Twitch Recap snub Twitch: DisguisedToast/YouTube: LudwigOffline TV’s Disguised Toast has called out the lack of respect shown to Ludwig after the now-YouTube star was excluded from his biggest fans’ Twitch Recaps. On December 15, Twitch streamers and viewers alike started getting their Twitch Recap through, with viewers able to see which streamer and categories they tuned into most throughout 2021. With the community sharing their Twitch Recaps, though, one thing became clear: streamers who had moved to other platforms, such as Ludwig and TimTheTatman, were nowhere to be seen. Ludwig called out his omission from the Twitch Recap, saying that he was “bummed” to have been removed from their end-of-year feature — and other streamers are sticking up for him, too. Ludwig became one of the biggest names on Twitch before his departure to YouTube, claiming at the time that he didn’t feel the love from Twitch, who allegedly didn’t fight to keep him. Disguised Toast was clearly similarly disappointed that major streaming names like Ludwig were left out, posting a tweet about the situation shortly after Ludwig spoke out. “Ludwig pushed the boundaries of content on Twitch for all of 2021,” he explained. “Even though he’s not there anymore, I think he deserved the respect of being in the Twitch Recap.” ludwig pushed the boundaries of content on twitch for all of 2021 even though he’s not there anymore, i think he deserved the respect of being in the twitch recap keep your head up content king https://t.co/4QlDYZ19xt — DSG Toast (@DisguisedToast) December 16, 2021 Telling Ludwig to “keep your head up, content king,” Toast obviously feels for his fellow streamer amid the Twitch snub, with hundreds of tweets echoing a similar sentiment. Twitch streamer Peter Park also criticized the omission, but hoped it was an oversight rather than an “intentional” decision. Twitch hasn’t commented on the issue at hand, and many fans have non-partnered streamers on their Twitch Recap, so it’s hard to tell exactly why streamers like Ludwig and TimTheTatman have been left off. It goes without saying, though, that many of Ludwig’s fans and peers are as disappointed as he is.

Disguised Toast claps back at “cryptobros” spamming him with NFT offers YouTube: OfflineTVJeremy ‘Disguised Toast’ Wang clapped back at ‘crypto bros’ who are spamming him with NFT promotion emails, telling them to ‘piss off’ and that he has no interest in partnering with them. NFTs have taken the internet by storm since gaining traction in 2021. Streamers and internet celebrities like Alinity, Amouranth, Logan Paul, and FaZe Banks have made lots of money from buying and selling them. However, not everyone is on board with the trend. Asmongold, Mizkif, and Sodapoppin are notable examples. Disguised Toast revealed that he falls in that category, too, after calling out ‘crypto bros’ who spam him with emails. Toast vented about it on Twitter. “My work email is just filled with crypto bros trying to promote their NFT platforms,” he said. To illustrate his point, he shared an image showing that the last 16 emails he’d received have all been from people and businesses trying to promote their own NFT agendas. However, he’s not even slightly interested in partnering up with them. “Piss off with your weird monkey art. The only monkey I care about is Monkey D. Luffy reference ties into his love for anime, which he recently got banned on Twitch for after watching episodes on stream. He later admitted that it was part of his plan to scare other streamers. However, he doesn’t share the same love for NFTs. If his latest comments are anything to go by, it seems like not even a thousand emails from ‘crypto bros’ could swoon him.

Disguised Toast completely shuts down troll thanks to Facebook Gaming Twitch: DisguisedToastStreaming star Jeremy ‘Disguised Toast’ Wang has been acclimating to his new platform since moving to Facebook Gaming – and he’s already been finding cool tricks to deal with trolls exclusive to the social network. For a long time, Twitch has been the top platform for streamers to start out their live broadcasting careers. But rival sites like Facebook Gaming and Mixer have been sweeping up big streamers like Toast, Ninja, shroud, and more to instantly nab larger active accounts. With different platforms come different advantages as well as new tools for streamers to make use of, and Toast had fun with one of Facebook’s primary features. Toast made a guest appearance on LilyPichu’s Twitch stream, and while talking to his fellow OfflineTV member, Toast retold how he instantly shut down someone being mean in his chat. “You know someone was mean to me today,” Toast explained to Lily. “I said, ‘Wow that’s a dumb comment, Bob Taylor.’” Read more: MrBeast’s “free bank” leaves woman in tears – Things must have been a bit surreal for Mr. Taylor at that moment during Toast’s stream. Usually, the anonymity of the internet gives people the courage they need to be toxic, but things play a bit differently on Facebook. Since people generally surf through Facebook’s services with their primary account, it’s usually the login which prominently features their real names. “I read out his entire name and he didn’t say shit after that,” Toast said. Even when he was first building up his Twitch following, the streamer had a funny way of dealing with the platform’s many problematic members – it’s apparently way easier to do on Facebook. Lily must have caught on to that, since even she was thinking of ways that she could see her friend hit back if a troll ever got too snippy during a stream. “I feel like you’re the type of person to go to their name and message their mom and be like ‘your son said I look like trash at this time. I just want you to know,’” she said. It’s unknown if he would do something like that, but Facebook Gaming trolls should be careful to not burn Toast during his streams.

Disguised Toast breaks down Rust Twitch Rivals drama: “I just wanted everyone to have a good time” Twitch: Disguised Toast: Facepunch StudiosTeam leader Jeremy ‘Disguised Toast’ Wang has explained all about what happened during the dramatic Rust Twitch Rivals drama which saw 40 Spanish-speaking streamers storm out of the event claiming that they were being treated ‘unfairly.’ Back in January 2022, Twitch streamer Disguised Toast issued a tempting challenge via Twitter asking if any of his “mutuals” would be interested in a “$100k Rust 40v40 streamer event.” The result was an epic showdown between 40 of the biggest English-speaking streamers taking on 40 of the most popular Spanish content creators. However, it didn’t take long for a heated debate to kick off as South and Latin American players claiming their opponents had shown a lack of respect for their region. The North American side fired back saying Team Alexby11 “broke the rules that they put in place.” Now, Disguised Toast has shared his take on the drama which saw the third and final day of Twitch Rivals get canceled because of Team Alexby11’s withdrawal. Toast shares his take on Twitch Rivals Rust drama Now, in an hour-long YouTube video, Toast compiled a variety of footage from the tournament and provided a timeline of the events to clarify what happened and his take on the event. At one point in the video, Toast was evidently frustrated with Team Alexby11 and the amount of time the group had spent talking to the event administrators. “I see the Spanish team is in call with admin again. I swear, I know I’m supposed to be the reasonable one, but these f*ckers spend more time in a call with admin than play the game. Like, we got rolled so hard in the beginning, our morale was so bad. They still think they’re the ones being f*cked.” Toast disputes claims Twitch Rivals event was a “flop” The Twitch Rivals Rust Team Battle came to an abrupt halt on day three after the Spanish-speaking players dropped out. As a result, Disguised Toast and his team were crowned the winners. After a viewer in his chat called the event a “flop,” Toast argued: “I actually think this event was a huge success. You know, before all the quitting.” Although, he admitted that having to explain to Twitch and the sponsors why the third day would not take place “didn’t go well.” “I just wanted everyone to have a good time,” Toast claimed. While he admitted that there were some “frustrating” moments, he thought his team had fun. However, he added: “That wasn’t the case for the Spanish side and that makes me sad. I’ve very sorry that they feel that way.”

Disguised Toast calls Ninja a “liar” over his Twitch masterclass: “He’s lying to you” Twitch: Disguised Toast/ NinjaPopular streamer Jeremy ‘Disguised Toast’ Wang has hit out at Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins and his Twitch streaming MasterClass sessions, even calling the streaming star a “liar.” In March 2022, widely successful streamer Ninja launched his own MasterClass series all about how to kickstart a streaming career. However, with the course costing $180 USD per year, some claimed that the series was a ‘cash grab’ given how there was no guarantee that it could lead to a rookie streamer’s success. Twitch star Disguised Toast wasn’t afraid to share his feelings over the controversial course. He also added that beginning a streaming career is much more than just “pressing the stream button.” Disguised Toast roasts Ninja’s MasterClass series While playing Dinkum on August 7, Disguised Toast opened up about how tough it can be for up-and-coming streamers to hit it big in the beginning. Speaking to his chat, he stressed that a streamer’s career will “never ever start with you pressing the stream button.” However, he also took the opportunity to swipe at Ninja’s 2022 MasterClass series: “I know you paid 200 bucks for Ninja to tell you that. He’s lying to you. Ninja is a liar.” This isn’t the first time that Toast has roasted Ninja over his costly streaming course. He previously claimed he does the complete “opposite” of everything Ninja supposedly does to make it as a popular creator. However, Toast shared his own words of wisdom on how to succeed: “Your streaming career starts either with you starting a YouTube channel, you starting a TikTok channel, or you being really good at a game of your choosing. Once you are good at either of those things […] then you can start streaming.” As one of Twitch’s most popular streamers, it’s safe to say Ninja has enjoyed a great deal of success thanks to his streaming know-how. Although, Toast clearly has his own strategies which have helped propel his career.

The internet personality noted he is returning to Canada to take care of his father. As a massive internet personality and member of popular content creation group ‘Offline TV’, many other big names in the space offered warm thoughts after his announcement. The replies to Wang’s announcement were filled with kind words from other streamers and YouTubers. Well-known creators from multiple platforms – like CouRage, Valkyrae, TimTheTatman, JackSepticEye, and bnans – all reached out to Wang after his tweet went live. ❤️ prayers for you and your family, brother. Starting off on YouTube as a Hearthstone creator, Wang grew his YouTube and Twitch followings to the tune of millions of subscribers and followers. In November 2019 – as the so-called ‘Streamer Wars’ were in full-swing – Wang signed a deal with Facebook Gaming and was the platform’s first big-name acquisition, followed by others like Corinna Kopf and Tim ‘Darkness429’ Havlock. Wang’s announcement came only a few hours after his latest video went live on his YouTube channel, and fans have already started posting messages of support. Comments like “Hoping the best for you and your family Toast” began to appear after Wang’s tweet went live. Toast has provided no further information on his absence at the time of writing. Fans should keep their eyes on his social accounts and watch out for any streams where he might discuss his absence in more detail.

Popular streamer ‘HAchubby‘ surprised many when she streamed at her workplace, despite her success on the platform. OkDudeTV is another who broadcasts at his job as an Uber Eats driver, and things went south when a bad review led to revenge with a customer’s food. A customer left a bad review The streamer explained that he was given a negative review after he forgot to give the customer a single item from the rest of their order – a cookie. So he decided to get revenge by eating the dessert on camera. “I got thumbs down, because I got this motherfucker’s cookie. I forgot his goddamn cookie, so” the disgruntled delivery driver detailed before he said “So you know what…” as he started to unwrap the cookie. After the driver took the baked good out of its package, he quickly shoved the dessert into his mouth and took a bite before laughing, as he mocked the customer missing out on their food. “Holy shit! I’d thumbs your ass down if I didn’t get this cookie. Holy what!” he said, before breaking into a huge grin, as he seemed to savor the moment. “Shit man, I would have thumbs-ed you down if you didn’t bring me this cookie!” The Uber Eats driver continued to revel in the moment, taking another chunk of the cookie, before he screamed “Oh! Woo! What a good ass cookie!”, mocking the customer who was upset for not getting it delivered. After having enough of the dessert, he parted one last shot to the customer who gave him a bad review when he said “Thank you. Thanks for the cookie, asshole!” before switching the camera back to the road. IRL broadcasting has become a success on Twitch, with many streamers showing their online audiences their daily lives. • Disguised Toast and Pokimane admit they pay more attention to subscribers – Dexerto

Disguised Toast and Pokimane admit they pay more attention to subscribers Twitter: PokimaneDisguised Toast and Pokimane shared their thoughts and attitude towards viewers who subscribe to their channels versus those who don’t, the two content creators seemingly on the same page when it comes to their views on different types of viewers they engage with. During a recent addition of the OfflineTV podcast, Disguised Toast and Pokimane were asked about how much attention they pay to their subscribers and if this takes priority over more casual viewers. While Toast began the conversation by confirming “hell yeah”, Pokimane agreed, admitting “it’s hard not too.” Toast the joking adding that “if you’re given $5 a month and you know, everyone else is just leeching free entertainment, f**k those guys.” Poki followed suit and said how, “they’re not even paying for their damn WI FI and they’re watching from McDonalds.” However, the two content creators then changed their tone, thinking over the question seriously. Toast mentioning how “there are some streamers with that attitude. Like they hate non-subs.” “That’s weird,” agreed Pokimane. “Like have you never not had the money to subscribe? You know what I mean?” Toast then confirming “Yes. But some people just really love money.” For Pokimane, discussing viewers is something that she does quite frequently when streaming. With the streamer open about her struggles with online trolls and her desire to have online users like that held accountable for these negative and harmful words. During a December 2022 broadcast, Pokimane revealed her plans to have some sort of legislation put in place to protect content creators. “I would like to facilitate the creation of legislation that holds people accountable for the actions that they do online,” she said. “I don’t know if I should get into the details because it might rattle some folks, but yes. Disgruntled Dunkin’ Donuts employee goes viral with “nasty” secrets on TikTok Flickr: Mike Mozart (CC BY 2.0) https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/2.0/legalcodeA (probably soon-to-be-ex) Dunkin’ Donuts employee’s TikTok account has gone viral after they revealed some surprising secrets about the way the fast-food chain operates and makes some of your favorite snacks. TikTok user ‘hannz57′, also known as Hannah, has shocked viewers throughout March by posting TikToks revealing some surprising facts about the popular donut restaurant. Her first video, which was posted on 22 March, has amassed a total of 6.4 million views. Clad in her Dunkin’ Donuts uniform, she took viewers behind the scenes to the food preparation area, showing them how meats like bacon and sausages are cooked there. As well as this, she revealed that the chain’s much-loved ‘Sweet Cold Foam’ is actually whipped cream by a brand called Reddi-Whip, while also revealing that the Pink Velvet and Vanilla syrup are “exactly the same thing.” In the video, she also called out Dunkin’ for their food hygiene standards, as she exposed the “nasty”, grime-filled creamer tank she had to make customers’ drinks in. As the video blew up, viewers started to make requests as to what secrets they wanted Hannah to reveal next, and in a second TikTok posted on 30 March, it looks like she did just that, as she responded to user ‘xosophiaaox5’s request to reveal how Dunkin’s avocado toast was made. To some viewers’ surprise, the ‘avocado’ spread on their toast was not fresh avocado, but pre-packaged guacamole which, according to Hannah, “smells like tuna.” This video was also a hit, amassing 4.6 million views in total. This means that both videos have a combined viewership of 10 million, as well as a combined 1.8 million likes. Some viewers were confused by Hannah’s videos, claiming that the standards were normal for a fast-food chain. One TikTok user asked in a comment that got over 6ok likes, “so what exactly are you exposing”, while another user pointed out that “this isn’t exactly stop the pressers type stuff.” Other commenters mocked viewers for being surprised that Dunkin Donuts don’t use fresh avocado, with one user saying: “It’s literally Dunkin’ Donuts. Did ya’ll really expect them to be mashing real avocados in the back?” Meanwhile, Hannah’s video also prompted other Dunkin’ workers to share their experiences. While some workers questioned the store’s hygiene – with one employee commenting “my Dunkin’s is actually clean it’s just yours babe” – another former employee revealed that they had encountered worse at their own Dunkin’s chain, as they revealed that “management was so bad that we had maggots growing in the iced coffee machine.” With Hannah looking set to quit in the near future, and these videos no doubt catching the attention of her bosses, it is unclear if she will be able to reveal any more secrets about her job before she hangs up her apron for good.

  • Disgruntled Snoop Dogg cuts interview short after esports league loss – Dexerto

Disgruntled Snoop Dogg cuts interview short after esports league loss Snoop Dogg was clearly seething after a tough loss in his Gangsta Gaming League Madden tournament, and let the interviewer know all about it after his match. Snoop Dogg set up the Gangsta Gaming League in March 2019, playing alongside some of his closest gaming friends in Madden NFL matches for a few thousand dollars at each tournament. Snoop usually wins these tournaments – he’s won four of the first six GGL’s since its inception – but took a tough loss on Wednesday, November 20, and let the interviewer know about it in his post-match interview. After interviewer Kara Corvus asked Snoop how he felt, he responded “How the f*ck do you think I feel? I don’t feel like sh*t right now.” Naturally, everybody burst out laughing, but Snoop was struggling to see the funny side as the interview continued. Adopting a mocking tone, he continued, “Oh I feel amazing, we took a loss,” before returning to his normal voice. “We’re supposed to win. We’re better than that. We had a minor discrepancy with what was going on… It’s just heartbreaking when you know you would have, should have, could have.” Snoop then got worked up again when asked who he expects to win the tournament. He said: “I don’t know and I don’t give a f*ck, stop asking me these dumb*ss questions! We lost… Now be gone!” He then walked out of the interview area but was smiling as he did so, clearly not as furious as the interview would lead viewers to believe. If Snoop Dogg setting up an esports league doesn’t seem very strange in itself, his honesty in his post-match interview will be a source of envy for many professional gamers who have to watch what they say after matches due to rules set by tournament organizers, sponsors and whoever else may be involved in running their leagues. Although Snoop has a number of personalities around him at these events, which are streamed on Snoop Dogg’s Twitch channel, it would be really interesting to see a few hip-hop powerhouses join the Gangsta Gaming League and see who the best rapper in the game really is.

  • Discovery Channel faces backlash over David Dobrik Shark Week special – Dexerto

Discovery Channel faces backlash over David Dobrik Shark Week special Instagram: sharkweekSome Discovery Channel viewers are claiming they won’t be watching this year’s Shark Week, after it was revealed that YouTuber David Dobrik is getting his own special alongside several other members of the Vlog Squad. Popular vlogger David Dobrik took a break from content creation and social media activity back in March, after the Vlog Squad scandal that saw the influencer lose countless important sponsors, subscribers, and more. He returned to YouTube on June 16, and since then has uploaded several new videos for his 18 million subscribers. While he still has some support from fans, not everyone is happy about his return to social media, with some believing he should have stayed away longer, and some thinking he shouldn’t have come back to YouTube at all. That backlash was reignited when Discovery Channel announced that Dobrik along with several other members of the Vlog Squad would be starring in a special as part of their annual Shark Week event. Join us for the biggest Shark Week event of the year! Others objected to the fact that he is an internet star in the first place, with many saying that they would rather see experts host the show. “Can we focus on having scientists and conservationists or at least someone cool or funny. PLEASE Discovery don’t do this to us, I don’t wanna see David Dobrik push his friends into a shark pit for content.” The posts about Dobrik’s special on Instagram were flooded with hundreds of other comments criticizing Discovery’s decision to platform the YouTuber. The special premiers exclusively on Discovery Plus on July 11, but how the episode will be received when it’s released in full remains to be seen.

Disgraced Vlog Squad member Durte Dom wanted by police after Tesla crash Instagram: DurteDomFormer Vlog Squad member Durte Dom claims he is the driver of the Tesla and that he was under the influence of a controlled substance when the $150,000 stunt went viral. Now, the Los Angeles Police Department is looking for him. On March 20, Dexerto reported that YouTuber Alex Choi filmed a driver launching an alleged $150,000 Tesla into the air on a public street just seconds before crashing the car into a trash can and a parked car. Luckily the driver and his cat were found to be okay after the wreck, but the LAPD is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of the driver as they committed a misdemeanor hit-and-run. Former Vlog Squad member Durte Dom uploaded videos onto his TikTok account stating that he was behind the viral stunt. However, Alex Choi revealed on his Instagram Story that Dom wasn’t even there. Durte Dom viral Tesla stunt On March 20, Durte Dom uploaded a video of himself under the influence and behind the wheel of his Tesla at the same area where David Dobrik jumped his vehicle in 2020. • Asmongold responds to fans saying he ‘failed’ WoW Classic – Dexerto

Asmongold responds to fans saying he ‘failed’ WoW Classic Twitch streamer World of Warcraft Classic, perhaps more than anyone, but some fans are upset with the way he played it and say he “failed” the game. WoW Classic has taken over Twitch since its launch on August 26 with many large streamers grinding the game and reliving their childhood. We’ve already seen our first Level 60 and the dreaded Molten Core toppled, but WoW’s biggest streamer Asmongold wasn’t the first to do either of these. In fact, his playstyle has left a sour taste in the mouths of many fans. WoW Classic has arrived. A lengthy Reddit post, which has received over 15,000 upvotes along with three Platinums, 10 Golds, and 16 Silvers, made by user Eurothemist called out Asmon’s playstyle, saying he relied too much on his chat for help, among numerous other things. “You asked for legacy servers for years but when they came around you just weren’t strong enough to do it without begging for gold and items.” WoW Classic is known for its grind as it’s missing numerous quality of life changes such as a dungeon finder, quest markers, easy access to mounts and many more. When you find ways around all that, it defeats the point of Classic in the eyes of many players. “You failed Classic, you failed your fans, but most of all, you failed yourself,” wrote Eurothemist. “We thought more highly of you. You’re disappointing.” Once Asmongold caught wind of this thread, he responded to it on stream, questioning how Reddit allows posts like this. “I’m amazed, honestly more than anything, just like a perspective, the mods let people just like make hate threads about somebody else and just leave it the whole time,” he said. “You know, that seems crazy, I don’t know, I feel like that’s against Reddit’s base site rules.” It’s worth noting that not every player out there has any strong feelings for or against Asmongold. In fact, some don’t have feelings towards any streamer. “Play the game stop watching streamers lmao,” wrote user dotabtw. It’s no secret that Asmongold is a titan in the World of Warcraft community, as he managed to put together the first major PvP event of Classic. Despite his massive fanbase, it’s clear that he has rubbed some players the wrong way based on how he handled the return of Classic. With that said, it doesn’t seem like this post has hurt his viewership on Twitch in the slightest.

  • Discord-shaped McDonald’s nugget found and it’s already TikTok famous – Dexerto

Discord-shaped McDonald’s nugget found and it’s already TikTok famous Discord/PixabayThe worlds of fast food and gaming have united once again as TikTok is now celebrating the discovery of a McDonald’s nugget that looks exactly like the Discord logo. The story started when members of Discord’s social media team noticed a post on their subreddit of one user who said they had found a Mcdonald’s Chicken McNugget that was shaped exactly like the company’s logo. While the original post had been removed by the time Discord saw it, they set out to contact the person who posted it to ask if they still had the item in question. After a little bit of careful negotiation, both sides reached an agreement and the nugget was on the move to be investigated for real. Discord-shaped McNugget becomes TikTok famous It took a while for the mystery nug to arrive, but it did eventually show up, having been packed up nice and tight for its long journey. Read More: What is TikTok’s viral “The Photo” trend? – Since the Discord team had been burned by claims of food that looked like their beloved mascot before, there was still a sense of anticipation in the air up until the box was opened for real. Their fears were quelled after popping the lid and finding exactly what was promised: a batter-fried version of Clyde (the discord logo). Unfortunately for Chicken Clyde, even all that careful packaging couldn’t save him from getting too moldy to keep around, so the journey ended with him being dumped into the trash. TikTok reacts Some fans were upset that the story had such an abrupt ending despite such a long journey. One user even went as far as suggesting that Discord should have gone the extra mile to save this bite of food history: “Could have tried encasing it in resin first to preserve it first.” Another commenter joked that eating the moldy version of the nugget would have given the team Discord-related superpowers: “Eat it and you’ll be able to use light mode in Discord again without it hurting your eyes.” It may not have ended the way the community wanted but at the end of the day, there’s no denying the impact that this little morsel of chicken had, with the story racking up over 1.5 million views collectively.

Discord CEO responds to backlash after teasing app NFT feature Discord / via Miller KaplanDiscord CEO Jason Citron shared an image for crypto features in the app, particularly with Ehtereum, which sparked community backlash and concerns about its potential for NFTs. Responding to a Discord analysis by Not Boring and The Generalist, Citron shared an early look for a built-in crypto wallet integration with MetaMask and WalletConnect. The pre-release image shows Discord’s management tools for Ethereum, a popular blockchain-based currency. Blockchain technology is also the basis for NFTs (non-fungible tokens) which have come under fire for their vulnerability to propagate scams and lingering questions on their environmental impact. People adamantly opposed to the technology don’t want to see Discord moving in that direction and are speaking out on the decision. Disabled CoD player goes viral on TikTok showing how they play with their foot Activision/TikTok: braintumormamaA disabled Call of Duty player has gone viral on TikTok, showing off how she uses a modded controller and her feet to dominate the competition. With gaming as big as it is, there are many companies aiming to increase accessibility and make sure that people can play regardless of their disabilities and limitations. For example, back in 2018, Microsoft unveiled the Adaptive Controller for Xbox, aiming to make gaming more accessible for those with mobility issues. Now, we’ve seen exactly how it can work with this viral TikTok. Cheyenne Serria Demar, also known as Braintumormama, has around 32k followers on TikTok. Now, though, one of her videos has rocketed to almost 500k views and over 80,000 likes. Cheyenne, who is paralyzed in her left hand after suffering a stroke, has had to adapt her gaming hobby as a result, using just her right hand and her foot to take out the competition in Black Ops Cold War. The Xbox controller she uses is adapted and modified to just one-handed use, with added buttons on the front and back to make things easier. As well as that, she has an analog stick mounted on the floor in front of her, using her toe to move around. Cheyenne has clearly found a way to stop her disability getting in the way of her hobbies, and proves that anybody can do it with her TikTok channel showing clips of her taking on enemies with ease. Hopefully we’ll see more stories like Cheyenne’s in the future as disability stops becoming a preventative measure for people who love to game.

After a few minutes of stress with various factors blocking their path to success, the pair finally got the windshield out and walked around holding onto it with the two suction cups, even supporting the weight with their head at times. Before long, the strength of the suction gave way and the windshield was no more. Shattering into a thousand shards of glass the windshield slipped and subsequently crashed into the concrete floor, fortunately not wounding anyone in the process. “Oh no,” one of them repeatedly yelled between bouts of laughter, reacting to what had just transpired in the blink of an eye. While the Hoonigans are a group of experienced professionals, this clip just goes to show that not all plans are foolproof. Who could have known that just moments after freeing the windshield it would be a broken mess on the ground?

Emergency services were called to the scene at around 11pm, but when firefighters arrived, staff had already put out the flames. There were no injuries reported. According to BirminghamLive, it’s believed the blaze was lit by a sparkler in a cocktail which caught on a hanging wall decoration. A spokeswoman for West Midlands Fire & Rescue Service said: “We were called at 11pm to Caffe Di Milano on Hurst Street. We sent two crews. The fire was out on arrival – the staff had managed to put the fire out before we got there. “We made sure it was safe and completed damping down and cutting away of anything that wasn’t safe. David Dobrik is one of the most well-known internet stars, boasting a massive 18 million YouTube subscribers, more than 26 million TikTok followers and more than 14 million Instagram followers. Dobrik has expanded on to many more platforms, created his own podcast, launched an app, and there are even hints at other massive business ventures in the near future. As a social media giant living in Los Angeles, naturally, Dobrik brushes shoulders with huge mainstream celebrities. He’s previously told stories of his interactions with the Kardashians, and he’s hung out Leonardo Dicaprio, Kevin Hart, and John Stamos among many others. Considering his ability to befriend almost any celebrity, it’s pretty unusual when they don’t know who he is, especially when they’re already living in LA and meeting other well-known internet icons. In an interview with Dobrik on an episode of his VIEWS podcast on Wednesday, March 3, Diplo recalled the moment they met. David began by saying he and Dillon Francis have a joke that Diplo has no idea who he is, and so he said to Diplo “Do you know who I am?” Diplo stuttered and said no, which sent Dobrik into fits of giggles, before saying, “well I met you backstage one day and I thought you’re just Dillon’s friend and that’s all I knew. I never really met you properly until tonight actually.” (Topic starts at 1:07) But David remembered another previous interaction he’d had with Diplo on the red carpet at the AMAs at which point Natalie, who he was with at the time, asked him if he knew Diplo. “I was like I don’t think I do and I honestly don’t think he knows me either.” Read More: Jake Paul prank calls Ben Askren’s coach – He continued, “I always thought that I was just some sort of like a made-up figment of Diplo’s imagination like he sees me at parties and stuff.” Diplo tried to explain his thought process, adding, “I always thought you were just Dillon’s really happy friend with the cool hair and I now I’m like you have a house and stuff and like podcasts, I thought you ordered pizza or something for everyone’s gonna hang out with his friend I didn’t know it was like cameras… you are like a spirit though it’s like you just are like I don’t know you’re everywhere.” Diplo might be one of the very last celebrities living in LA to find out who David Dobrik is. At the very least, having appeared on VIEWS, he’s unlikely to underestimate David from now on.

  • Dina Belenkaya challenges Andrea Botez to chessboxing rematch in Russia – Dexerto

Dina Belenkaya challenges Andrea Botez to chessboxing rematch in Russia YouTube/LudwigTwitch star Andrea Botez has been challenged to a chessboxing rematch against Dina Belenkaya after her controversial loss at Ludwig and Mogul Moves’ Chessboxing event. The chessboxing showdown between Dina Belenkaya and Andrea Botez was one for the ages. While Dina secured the win by checkmate, many believed the bout should have ended with a Botez victory by TKO in round 3. While Ludwig confirmed that Andrea should have won, the decision was not reversed, although the YouTuber revealed that Botez would be receiving her own belt for her performance. Now, Belenkaya has gone full Ivan Drago and has issued a challenge to fight Andrea Botez again, because she wants it to follow the “Rocky Saga.” Dina Belenkaya challenges Andrea Botez to Rocky-style rematch Following Ludwig’s ruling, Belenkaya took to Twitter to slam the “double win” as Andrea had called it. “It’s so sad for Andrea Botez who trained for 3 weeks in boxing. I trained for 26 years in chess. I started playing at 3. First competition at 5,” she listed. “This is called chessboxing and I’m the winner!” She further stood her ground and issued a challenge to the Twitch star to face off with her again, but this time, it would be on her own turf. “Want my belt? Rematch in Russia!” she proclaimed. However, she further explained why she wants the rematch to take place in her home country and it has nothing to do with politics. “I choose Russia to follow the rules of the Rocky saga, not as a political move/view of any sort.” So far, Botez has yet to accept the challenge, but the good news is that unlike Rocky 4, no one died in the ring. Therefore, don’t expect her sister, Alexandra, to travel to Russia on a quest for vengeance.

  • Dillon Danis vs Logan would have been canceled if he didn’t delete Nina Agdal image – Dexerto

Dillon Danis vs Logan would have been canceled if he didn’t delete Nina Agdal image Instagram: ninaagdal / YouTube: Misfits BoxingMisfits Boxing threatened to cancel Dillon Danis and Logan Paul’s upcoming boxing match if Danis didn’t delete a leaked image of Nina Agdal that he posted on X. Dillon Danis and Logan Paul’s highly-anticipated fight is set to take place in October — and it might be one of the most explosive influencer-boxing events yet, thanks to their ongoing feud on social media. For weeks now, Danis has been posting about Logan Paul’s fiance, Danish model Nina Agdal. He’s shared photos of her posing alongside rich and famous men with the implication that she’s slept with them, as well as pictures of the model wearing scant clothing or in the nude. This has resulted in a slew of harassment toward Agdal — and she finally hit back at Danis with a full-fledged lawsuit on September 6. In the lawsuit, Agdal claimed she suffered “humiliation, emotional distress, and reputational harm” as a result of Danis’s incessant posting about her, and even alleged that one of his posts broke federal and state law. Misfits Boxing threatened to cancel Logan vs Dillon over Nina Agdal picture That’s not all; court documents also state that Danis posted a photo of Nina with “full frontal nudity,” which he didn’t delete until Misfits Boxing strong-armed him into doing so with the threat of canceling his fight with Paul if he didn’t comply. “At some point thereafter, Danis reluctantly deleted the post containing the photograph,” point 32 from Agdal’s lawsuit reads. “Misfits Boxing, the promoter of Danis’s fight with Paul, directed Danis to delete the post and threatened to cancel the fight unless he complied.” The photo in question was reportedly taken during a romantic encounter more than ten years ago and was taken without Agdal’s consent, as per the suit. “By the time the photo was deleted, it had been viewed hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of times, and had been saved and re-shared an untold number of times,” the suit reads. Danis additionally made mention of their fight potentially getting canceled in his initial tweet about the lawsuit, saying in his post: “The fight is in jeopardy if I’m in jail. This is actually wild, but I won’t stop f**k the system come get me. Logan Paul is a dead man walking.” Agdal is seeking up to $150,000 in damages and has asked a judge to bar Danis from posting about her moving forward. Thus far, no news about Danis vs Paul’s cancelation has been released, but we’ll make sure to keep you updated right here on Dexerto.

  • Dillon Francis reveals his worst DJ show ever to Courage & Nadeshot – Dexerto

Dillon Francis reveals his worst DJ show ever to Courage & Nadeshot Dillon Francis recently joined Matthew ‘Nadeshot’ Haag and Jack ‘CouRage’ Dunlop on their 100 Thieves podcast where he amusingly revealed his worst experiences as a DJ. As one of the globally recognizable electronic producers today, Dillon Francis has made a name for himself in the music industry, but also appears to be a huge fan of video games and the surrounding culture. Joining The CouRage and Nadeshot Show to chat all things DJ-related, the trio eventually got into discussions about tour-life and Francis was quick to reveal some of his horror stories throughout his many years on the road. Francis painted a picture of how he and Josh Young, a member of Flosstradamus at the time, were closing out a stage together and that they “were drinking so much” before they went out in front of thousands of people. “Halfway through the show, I can’t even see my computer screen,” the accomplished DJ explained to CouRage and Nadeshot, both of whom couldn’t stop laughing as they were regaled with the details of Francis’ horror show. After accidentally blitzing through the majority of his prepared set, he was left struggling to find something new to throw into the mix before the crowd was treated to nothing but silence. “I look at Josh and I’m like, I can’t see. Just say something.” Hilariously, Josh was just as out of it in the moment, explaining in response that he also “[couldn’t] see.” Failing to avoid the disaster, Francis explained how the festival went silent for “30 seconds to a minute,” which feels like “five minutes” when a crowd of that size is kept waiting. “I was like f*ck it, I gotta just play a song, so I just queued up a song and just a f*cking kick comes in. No drop, no vocals or anything. That was the worst experience ever.” “The next day I looked on Facebook and nobody said a thing,” he revealed. However, to amusingly complicate things, a partner of his former photographer was actually at the festival all those years ago and told him she figured he had just been purely “trolling” the crowd. “It was like the worst experience but the best outcome because no one was really mad at me,” he concluded, joking that because of his trolling antics over the years, he seemed to get away with the horrific performance. Detailing yet another over the top story, Francis went on to describe an experience he once had back when Sonny ‘Skrillex’ Moore was the hottest artist in the scene. “You know you could say anything on the mic and kids would just say f*ck yeah,” he joked with one of the early pioneers of dubstep. “One time you should just be like, ‘put your f*cking d*cks in the sky.” One night Skrillex actually followed through with that hilarious line and Francis laughed that it was the “funniest sh*t I have ever seen.” The specific conversation begins at 34:02 for mobile users. The popular DJ went on to discuss a wide array of entertaining topics with Nadeshot and CouRage throughout the rest of the podcast, from his origins in the music industry to his recent high-profile gaming experiences. Hopefully, Francis has been able to avoid any hilarious bouts of silence and major music festivals since that awkward experience in his early days.

  • Dillon Danis takes swipe at Joe Rogan after Logan Paul loss but immediately regrets it – Dexerto

Dillon Danis takes swipe at Joe Rogan after Logan Paul loss but immediately regrets it YouTube: FLAGRANT/Joe Rogan ExperienceDillon Danis took a swipe at Joe Rogan in the wake of his loss to Logan Paul, and the internet has quickly clapped back at him over it. After months of trash talk, threats, and legal cases, Dillon Danis and Logan Paul finally squared off on October 14 and it went pretty much how everyone expected it to. Logan took home the victory against his longtime rival as the former UFC fighter failed to make a real impact on the fight. At one point, he’d landed nine punches through four rounds and even threw himself to the ground and invited Logan to grapple with him. Despite the defeat, Dillon has taken a bit of a victory lap on social media, claiming he did much better than was expected of him, given that he went the distance and didn’t get knocked out. Though, he has been clowned for that. Dillon Danis gets dunked on by Twitter/X users after Joe Rogan swipe The former jiu-jitsu world champion has also been clowned for the fact that he took a dig at Joe Rogan in the aftermath of his defeat, but appears to have gotten things totally wrong. “Where’s everyone that said I wouldn’t last a round. Even Joe Rogan called me Ben Askren?” Danis tweeted. However, that post was quickly hit with a community note from Twitter/X users as they pointed out that Rogan never made a comparison of their skills, but rather how they’d both got paid for taking on an influencer fight. “As much as I wanted you to win, a victory lap after getting out-struck 80-9 is crazy,” one user replied. “Ain’t no way bro is proud of what he did,” another said. “Log off for a few months, you’re just embarrassing yourself,” another commenter added. Others have called Danis “shameless” for continuing his trash talk despite losing, while some urged him to fight Jake Paul to really settle the score. Rogan has previously praised Danis for being a “great troll” in the buildup to the fight, but the former UFC fighter said that he couldn’t get an invite onto the JRE Podcast. His chances have probably shrunken even further now too.

  • Dillon Danis threatens to choke Logan Paul mid-fight after Conor McGregor advice – Dexerto

Dillon Danis threatens to choke Logan Paul mid-fight after Conor McGregor advice YouTube: MMA Fighting/ImPaulsiveDillon Danis has threatened to break boxing rules and ‘choke’ Logan Paul out during their fight amid advice from Conor McGregor to break his leg too. The beef between Logan Paul and Dillon Danis always been pretty heated, however, things have certainly gone up a notch ever since they agreed to fight on October 14. Amid a lawsuit from Logan’s fiancee, Nina Agdal, the former UFC fighter threatened to not show up for the fight before claiming that it was all part of the promotion. Danis has since traveled to the UK, but he doesn’t have much of a team with him. There had been talk that he’d work with Conor McGregor in the build-up to the fight with Logan, seeing as they’re longtime training partners, and while that hasn’t been the case, the Irish UFC legend has been showing his support from afar. Dillon Danis says he might choke out Logan Paul mid-fight In fact, McGregor urged Danis to “break” Logan’s leg by wrestling him down into an MMA guard, which, would see him get disqualified in a boxing match. He doesn’t seem too concerned by that, however. “I think people pick Logan because they’ve never seen me box and in my MMA fights my boxing didn’t look that good and I’m pulling guard and s*it like that. But I have a lot of ways to win. He only has one way. He may get choked unconscious, we’ll see,” the former UFC fighter told YouTuber Fred Talks Fighting upon arriving in the UK. Danis was pressed on the fact that he’d be disqualified if he did do that, however, but he again didn’t seem too fussed. “Who’s going to stop me?” he asked. Timestamp of 3:20 A disqualification would see him lose some, if not all, of his fight purse – which Logan has already claimed he’ll need to fight the lawsuits being pushed against him. It would certainly create a moment in YouTube boxing history too, but who knows what’ll happen.

  • Dillon Danis threatens to leak bombshell picture that could “cancel” Logan Paul fight – Dexerto

Dillon Danis threatens to leak bombshell picture that could “cancel” Logan Paul fight YouTube: FULL SEND Podcast/Twitter: Dillon DanisDillon Danis has ramped up his beef with Logan Paul by publicly claiming he has a hyper-scandalous photo of Paul’s fiance Nina Agdal. Danis has suggested the image is so shocking, posting it could land him in jail. Dillon Danis and Logan Paul are set to square off against each other in a boxing match on October 14 on what’s dubbed ‘The Prime Card’. The two have been feuding for years now and in the lead-up to the match, Danis has ramped up his antagonism towards Paul. The former MMA fighter has been plastering his Twitter feed with images of Paul’s fiance Nina Agdal and other men in ways that suggest she has been intimate with them. The harassment campaign has caused Paul to turn off his replies on Twitter and allegedly take legal action against Danis. Danis has posted 27 tweets in the last 12 hours, all referring to Paul and Agdal. In the most recent update to the saga, Danis has claimed he has a photo of Agdal so defamatory that revealing it would get the fight and himself canceled. Danis has likened the picture to a weapon of mass destruction in tweets following the initial allegation. “This picture is like a nuclear bomb; the damage it would do would be irreparable,” Danis claimed. In a possible reference to the alleged cease and desist that Paul sent to Danis, the former jui-jitsu world champion said he might end up in prison. “If I dropped this pic, it would end the fight, end his engagement, and I might even find myself in jail.” He’s since promised to send the tweet to Adin Ross during his next stream so fans can gauge his reaction. “I’ll text the picture to [Adin Ross] live on stream so you guys can see his reaction when we do our interview.” Online provocateur Andrew Tate even weighed in on the situation. Tate claimed that he had seen the image and it would do exactly what Danis claimed it would. Paul hasn’t publicly responded to any of the swipes at his fiance which Danis says is a sign of weakness. “It’s crazy to think that Logan hasn’t defended his girlfriend even once, except for trying to get my account deleted and sending me a cease and desist letter,” Danis said. “Deep down, the man is a coward.” Fight fans will have to wait until October 14 for the two to settle this beef. That is unless Danis does decide to post this “nuclear” photo and have the whole fight canceled.

  • Dillon Danis slams Jake Paul’s boxing company for pushing KSI vs Tyron Woodley – Dexerto

Dillon Danis slams Jake Paul’s boxing company for pushing KSI vs Tyron Woodley YouTube: TheMacLife, Jake PaulMMA star Dillon Danis is slamming Jake Paul on Twitter after the YouTube boxer urged rival creator KSI to take a fight with former UFC champ Tyron Woodley. Jake Paul is coming up on the biggest fight of his career against Brazilian MMA legend Anderson Silva next month… but he’s also heavily invested in the boxing career of his greatest rival, KSI. Paul wants KSI to take on Tyron Woodley, someone Jake has fought (and defeated) twice. However, KSI is looking toward a possible bout with Dillon Danis, instead… someone Jake has also had beef with in the past. The two have been going back and forth via Twitter for the past week, leading fans to think that a fight could be in the cards — especially considering that KSI challenged Danis to a hilarious bet at the expense of whoever loses. Jake Paul’s boxing company pushes for KSI to fight Tyron Woodley That being said, it looks like Jake Paul isn’t too enthused about this possibility. The ‘Problem Child’s’ boxing promotional company, Most Valuable Promotions, urged KSI to take on Tyron Woodley in a pointed tweet. “KSI, your fans clearly want to see you against Tyron Woodley,” the company wrote. “You should stop trying to build hype with Danis…that guy is barely an MMA fighter. No accolades. No success. Do the right thing. Fight @TWooodley.” Danis didn’t seem to agree. The mixed martial artist hit back at Paul’s company in an apparently deleted tweet, writing: “Nobody has ever seen me box. I’m 29, in my prime, and hungry. The world will see.” “A way tougher fight than Tyron Woodley. He lost every single round in his last four fights before Jake fought him and is a retired 40-year-old and completely broke, willing to take a dive.” This latest back-and-forth comes after KSI thoroughly mocked Danis for claiming “no man alive” could beat him, marking yet another chapter in the ongoing saga of verbal spats between the two stars. While it’s unclear exactly who KSI will be taking on next, it’s obvious that Danis is itching for the chance to touch gloves with ‘The Nightmare’ at some point — provided Jake Paul doesn’t get to it, first.

  • Dillon Danis takes shots at KSI & Logan Paul as January fight rumors swirl – Dexerto

Dillon Danis takes shots at KSI & Logan Paul as January fight rumors swirl DAZN/BellatorMMA fighter Dillon Danis has had quite the beef with KSI in 2022 and this time around the Bellator combatant has pulled Logan Paul back into the fray as well. JJ ‘KSI’ Olatunji and Logan Paul are not only two of the most successful influencers-turned-boxers out in the world, but they’ve also transformed their old rivalry into a close friendship. That’s why Danis, in hopes of stoking the fires of his rivalry with KSI, tagged the elder Paul brother with some heated remarks, putting all three of them in the center of this interconnected beef. Dillion Danis takes a shot at Logan Paul and KSI as eventual fight rumors swirl While things have been tumultuous between Danis and Olatunji for a while now, many fans suspect a fight is inevitable at this point. KSI even offered up the bet that the loser should let the winner shave their head in the event that the two do eventually square off. While there’s no confirmation of that happening just yet, the MMA representative surely hasn’t let his rival forget how he feels about him. His latest tweet not only questions the other man’s bravery, but also insults his best friend along the way. “Why you been so quiet p****y? Scared of a real fight? You’re literally all talk just like your fake bff Logan Paul,” the fighter tweeted. Paul had previously offered to box the mixed martial artist himself on KSI’s upcoming undercard in January, but Danis’ comments could be a sign that this fight has yet to be locked in. Regardless of how the matchups work out in the end, it’s clear that one of the two YouTubers (if not both) are on a collision course with ‘El Jefe’ and that this game of roasts won’t be ending anytime soon.

  • Dillon Danis sends message to Drake after Logan Paul bet: “I thought we were friends” – Dexerto

Dillon Danis sends message to Drake after Logan Paul bet: “I thought we were friends” YouTube: Piers Morgan UncensoredDillon Danis had a message for rap star Drake after the artist bet $850K that Logan Paul would win their viral boxing match by KO. Mixed martial artist Dillon Danis faced off with YouTube star Logan Paul in the boxing ring on October 14 after months of feuding on social media. Their bout was shaping up to be one of the most anticipated influencer-boxing matches yet, due in no small part to Danis incessantly going after Paul’s fiance, Nina Agdal, in a plethora of posts on Twitter/X. In fact, even major celebrities showed an interest in this viral internet fight, with the likes of Canadian rapper Drake betting a whopping $850,000 that Logan would win by KO. Despite all of Danis’s posturing (and even cutting Paul’s face with a microphone during a faceoff scuffle), Logan Paul ended up taking the victory by DQ after his opponent tried to pull off some grappling moves in the ring. In response to Danis’s loss, Drake posted a humorous video poking fun at the fighter online, referencing the major payday he supposedly made thanks to Paul’s big win. Dillon Danis says Drake’s $850K bet on Logan Paul was “messed up” Danis addressed the situation during an interview on Piers Morgan Uncensored, where the show’s titular host asked him about his feelings regarding Drake’s bet. “We’re friends, too!” he exclaimed when Morgan brought up the topic. “That hurt me.” “Me and Drake were friends, so I didn’t like how he supported Logan,” he continued, going on to claim that Drake “has a new number now,” so he couldn’t reach him to talk about the bet. “It’s messed up. Hopefully he watches this and reaches out to me.” “He should have bet on me. I don’t know. I thought we were friends, Drake. That’s messed up. Logan’s not one of us. We don’t sue. We don’t do lawsuits, you know? Drake is a gangster, like me. We don’t do that kinda stuff. I think Drake would have sided with me, in my opinion.” (Topic begins at 6:55) Thus far, Drake hasn’t offered a response to Dillon’s latest comments — but it’s clear that he supports the Paul brothers’ boxing endeavors, having bet $400K on Jake Paul ahead of his bout with Tommy Fury earlier this year.

  • Dillon Danis slams “cowardly rat” Logan Paul over lawsuit – Dexerto

Dillon Danis slams “cowardly rat” Logan Paul over lawsuit Twitter/ImpaulsiveDillon Danis has labeled Logan Paul as a “cowardly rat” over the lawsuit that has threatened to jeopardize their upcoming fight, saying he won’t be paying any money out. The beef between Logan Paul and Dillon Danis has gotten extremely personal over the last few weeks as the pair are gearing up to finally fight in the boxing ring come October 14. Danis has been posting photos of Logan’s fiancee Nina Agdal with other men – some being genuine photos of her with previous partners and others being outright fake. The YouTuber had stayed rather quiet on that, saying he wasn’t “fazed” by the mind games, but has since started firing back. He went after the former UFC fighter in their face-to-face during the first press conference for the upcoming fight, calling him “not a real fighter.” There have also been legal threats too, with Agdal getting a restraining order against Danis due to the photos he has been posting. Dillon Danis hits out at “bully” Logan Paul That lawsuit has put the fight in danger, at least according to Dillon, who claimed that they wanted him thrown in jail. Of course, that wasn’t the case. Now, he’s gone after Logan again over it. “I’m gonna break Logan’s jaw into pieces. He’s a scamming coward. The audacity he’s the one to sue, sending lawsuit after lawsuit to me after all he’s done to people dead and alive. He’s a backwards c*nt, mark my words I’m gonna dance on this kids head,” he tweeted on September 12. “This isn’t about money. Logan bullies others and resorts to NDAs and lawsuits when things don’t go his way, like a cowardly rat,” Danis added in a follow-up tweet, making a further disparaging remark about Agdal as well as he claimed any money he forked out would go to charities. The money he’s referring to is the $150,000 in damages that is sought in the lawsuit – which was filed by Agdal, not Logan. It remains to be seen if the legal issues with actually stop the fight from happening. The ImPaulsive host has drafted in former UFC fighter ‘Platinum’ Mike Perry incase things have to change.

  • Dillon Danis says Nina Agdal lawsuit will cost him $400k even if he wins case – Dexerto

Dillon Danis says Nina Agdal lawsuit will cost him $400k even if he wins case YouTube: The Johnny Drinks PodcastDillon Danis says that he’ll have to pay $400k in legal fees even if he wins his upcoming court case against Logan Paul’s fiance, Nina Agdal. The feud between Dillon Danis and Logan Paul has entered legal territory, as Paul’s fiance, Nina Agdal, has filed a “massive” lawsuit against the mixed martial artist. Agdal filed the suit in response to Danis’s incessant social media posts about her, alleging that he or someone he knew hacked into her accounts to post explicit pictures and private videos of her online as part of his smear campaign against opponent Logan Paul. According to the suit, Agdal is seeking “no less than $150,000 in damages” and has also filed a restraining order against Danis. Danis reportedly failed to show up for his court hearing regarding the order, which will remain in effect “for the duration of the underlying lawsuit against him.” Dillon Danis slams Nina Agdal’s “bullsh*t” lawsuit This puts Danis in an interesting spot, given that he’s set to touch gloves with Paul in just a few weeks’ time — but it’s also costing him a fortune in legal fees. According to Danis, he’ll have to pony up $400k in attorney fees even if he wins the case, as told during a recent live stream with Adin Ross and Andrew Tate. “I think he doesn’t wanna fight me,” Danis said of Logan. “I think he’s just trying to get me to pull out somehow so then he looks like the hero, you know? It’s bullsh*t, because it’s all going through him, you know?” “Even if I win the case, I still have to pay over $400,000 in just attorney fees, lawyer fees. It’s just bullsh*t when I’m promoting a fight — this is the biggest fight he’s ever done, and I made the whole event. It’s just bullsh*t, man.” Agdal’s lawsuit also prevents Danis or anyone “in active participation with him” from posting explicit photos of her on the net… something he’ll have to honor unless he wants to breach the order. In the meantime, Paul claims that Danis admitted to committing a federal crime in an edited version of their face-to-face video by DAZN, claiming he’ll release the footage very soon.

  • Dillon Danis scuffles with KSI and Anthony Taylor ahead of Misfits Boxing event – Dexerto

Dillon Danis scuffles with KSI and Anthony Taylor ahead of Misfits Boxing event JJ Olatunji | YouTubeDuring the weigh-in for the Misfits Boxing x DAZN Series 003 event, Dillon Danis walked up to KSI during the live-streamed event and started a fight, resulting in the two being split up by security. Dillon Danis claimed that Logan Paul pulled out of a fight they were supposed to have due to injuries sustained by Paul during his WWE bout against Roman Reigns. A fight that was, according to Danis, going to be on the Misfits Boxing x DAZN Series 003 event’s fight card. Danis showed up to the weigh-in for the event and walked directly up to KSI, another boxer there to help Misfits’ efforts to promote the event and hype things up. But Dillon seemed keen on pulling KSI into the ring with him. He walked up to the prolific influencer boxer during the live-streamed weigh-in, asking KSI to “sign the contract,” followed by threatening to choke him out. “You want me to choke you out right here?” From there, chaos ensued. KSI and Dillon Danis clash at Misfits Boxing weigh-in KSI didn’t take Danis’ comment sitting down. He followed up by saying, “I could knock you out if I wanted to.” in reply. The two taunted each other until Dillon Danis threw the first punch. The two went from smiling at each other and having a small argument to an all-out brawl in less than a second. Someone’s drink spilled, getting the camera wet as the entire venue turned into a flurry of motion. The two were eventually separated, and the broadcast got back on track after the unexpected interruption. But Danis wasn’t done. Footage from minutes later showed the boxer brawling with Anthony Taylor outside of the venue in what would turn into a group brawl. Those watching the weigh-in in-person and at home got more than they bargained for.
