Dolan Twins reveal plans to totally change their YouTube content YouTube: impaulsive clipsDuring their appearance on the imPaulsive podcast, YouTube stars the Dolan Twins have explained why they want to move away from their old content that makes them feel “trapped” in their past selves, and onto more candid content. The twins Ethan and Grayson originally rose to popularity on the video app Vine in 2013, and have since gone on to produce content on their highly successful YouTube channel with over 11 million subscribers. While they have many adoring fans, they haven’t been exempt from drama, as earlier in July they were forced to address a homophobic slur used when explaining the bullying they received in high school. Drama aside, they still have a very large, and very active subscriber base, so what is driving them away from the content that made them so popular in the first place? When asked what they like about doing the medium of their new podcast, Deeper with the Dolan Twins, Grayson said: “it’s just an open conversation, like I have so much sh*t on my mind that I wish I could say on YouTube, but YouTube is just not the place.” While they say that they are “trying to make YouTube the place” for those kinds of videos, they describe the site as having “premium entertainment” and that they have to make the decision to either “retire or reinvent.” “We’ve been like at a point where we just have been really confused as to what to do with the content,” Ethan says. “I feel like I’ve been kind of trapped in my 17-year-old body as soon as the f**king camera turns on, because I’m like, ‘this is what my audience likes.” “We just tried to film a video and it completely failed just because I was like ‘I don’t feel like myself when the camera’s on,” he continued. “It’s hard to find the balance between what you wanna film and what they wanna see.” He says that “we haven’t really been living our lives as like, dudes,” and have been editing their daily schedule to do things that will appeal to their audience base and keep their numbers up. While not a guarantee that they will move on from YouTube altogether, it certainly is an indication that their content will begin a shift into being more open and for a wider audience, in order to allow the twins to break away from their restrictive online personas.

Dolan Twins announce they’re “moving on” from YouTube career after six years – Dexerto
Dolan Twins announce they’re “moving on” from YouTube career after six years YouTube: DeeperWithTheDolanTwinsThe Dolan Twins have been a longtime presence on YouTube, with both influencers amassing an impressive 10 million subscribers on their shared account — but after all this time, they’re calling it quits. The Dolan Twins — made up of fraternal twins Ethan and Grayson Dolan — have garnered quite a fanbase over their six and a half years on YouTube. Generally hailed as a positive presence on the platform, the Twins became known for being part of the “sister squad” with fellow YouTubers James Charles and Emma Chamberlain before the group split apart nearly two years ago. Despite their large following and successful career as influencers, the Twins announced in a January 14 episode of their podcast series, ‘Deeper with the Dolan Twins,’ that they are permanently quitting YouTube. View this post on Instagram “We are not moving on from YouTube because we have a lack of appreciation for you guys,” they clarified. “Your support over the past six …years of our lives has been… I can’t even explain the level of appreciation we have for you. Really.” It seems that the brothers have not been feeling the usual passion for their work, expressing that they hope to move on to more challenging prospects that fuel their creative fire. Read More: Joe Rogan says he’s worried about censorship – “This is life, and I do think that all good things come to an end at some point or another, and this is that point,” they added. “…We want to move on to bigger and better things that are gonna be more of a challenge for us.” “With YouTube, it was our main goal to spread positivity. But a lot of people were recognizing that I wasn’t the same positive ‘light’ that I was in the videos, previously. My heart wasn’t in it anymore.” Although they’re quitting their regular uploads, it seems the Twins won’t completely wipe their presence off YouTube; the duo claimed they will continue to work on their podcast, which they will post to the platform on a weekly basis. Thus far, it doesn’t seem like their fanbase is too surprised by this development, with many viewers sounding off in the comments that they’d seen this coming for quite some time. We can only wish the Twins luck in their future endeavors as they — and a slew of other high-profile creators — seek to start a new path in life.

Dolan Twins hilariously fumble “Savage” TikTok dance with Addison Rae – Dexerto
Dolan Twins hilariously fumble “Savage” TikTok dance with Addison Rae Dolan Twins, YouTubeThe Dolan Twins are making the jump from YouTube stars to TikTok sensations — and to help them get a handle on the platform’s viral dance trends, they enlisted the talents of top creators Addison Rae and Larray. Addison Rae and Larray are equally popular content creators in their own right, boasting over 41 million and 9 million followers, respectively. Both known for their dancing skills (with Rae also having a history in competitive dance), it stands to reason that the Dolan Twins chose two of TikTok’s most popular dancers to help them learn one of the app’s most popular trends — “Savage.” Following the release of Megan Thee Stallion’s “Savage” song, 19-year-old TikTokker Keara “Keke” Wilson created her very own choreography for the track, which quickly went viral across social media. The Dolan Twins tasked themselves with learning the dance, with Ethan being coached by Larray, and Grayson being coached by Addison. The twins were first challenged to pull off some popular dance moves — which they humorously failed at, poking fun at themselves for fumbling the “woah” and even attempting to “throw it back.” Afterwards, the duos separated to learn “Savage” from their coaches — a dance that they also had some trouble mastering. “You look like you just broke your entire, like, ribcage,” Larray joked after Ethan attempted the song’s very first move. “I f**king did, okay?” Ethan shot back. Despite the ensuing awkwardness, the Twins eventually got the hang of the choreography and showed off their new moves for the camera — and although they’d just learned the dance, both YouTubers ended up pulling it off surprisingly well (much to the humor of their coaches). That’s not all; the teams even challenged each other to see which twin’s dance could get the most likes on TikTok, and so far, it looks like Grayson is in the lead with 1.6 million likes over his brother’s 655k (and totally not because he’s shirtless, either). All in all, their collaboration with Rae and Larray was ultimately a hilarious showdown that allowed the Twins to step out of their comfort zone — and stir up a little friendly beef, in the process.

Dolan Twins announce major change to YouTube schedule in emotional video – Dexerto
Dolan Twins announce major change to YouTube schedule in emotional video Dolan Twins, YouTubeYouTube duo “the Dolan Twins” are familiar faces on the platform, boasting a storied career on the site form just 14 years of age – but the two are making a big change to their normal output in light of recent events. The 19-year-old YouTubers shocked the net after announcing news of their father’s passing in early 2019, asking fans to respect their privacy during the funeral in wake of hashtags like “#seandolanfuneralparty.” However, it wasn’t these proposed fan meetups that prompted the twins to upload their latest video: instead, it was a mixture of recent events, including their own “addiction to work” that is bringing about a big change for the two. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g2LkO0IsR5A&t=302sEthan and Grayson Dolan released an emotional video on October 8 in collaboration with YouTube star Shane Dawson, where the two admitted that they’re bringing a halt to their weekly uploads in wake of work addiction and stress from their father’s passing. “We would, like, be taking care of our dad, and then immediately getting on a flight to LA, filming a video, then coming back,” they explained. “My dad had cancer for two years. …I felt like if I wasn’t in caretaker mode or filming mode, then I was doing something wrong.” In fact, the twins have been working so hard that they admitted to feeling “numb,” and even expressed regret for their work ethic by claiming that, “Had we not been filming a video every week, we would have been able to spend more time with our family around the time that they needed us.” That’s not all: the twins also admitted that their online personas crafted at 14 don’t exactly reflect who they are now, and had been afraid to admit this fact for fear of angering their fanbase. 600https://www.instagram.com/p/BzwDfxLHkTo/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_linkThe twins’ video is currently sitting at number one on YouTube’s trending page at the time of writing – not an unusual development for videos directed by Dawson, with his series “The Beautiful World of Jeffree Star” making a similar splash last week. Both Ethan and Grayson have thanked their fans in wake of their video’s release, which saw an outpouring of support across the net.

Dokibird “blown away” after record-breaking charity stream makes history – Dexerto
Dokibird “blown away” after record-breaking charity stream makes history DokibirdDokibird raised a six-figure sum during a charity stream that saw the popular VTuber break the record for the most successful VTuber charity drive ever. Following a controversial termination at Nijisanji that saw the VTuber agency allegedly share confidential documents with other members, Dokibird has shifted her focus back to creating content. She has already seen some incredible success passing numerous milestones with her current sub count at 650,000. This impressive number has been reached in under a month with Dokibird only having rebooted her streaming career on February 7. Looking to capitalize on her success in the best way possible, Dokibird hosted a charity stream that went on to raise a record-breaking sum for a good cause. Dokibird raises six figures for charity in record-breaking stream Dokibird raised $252,524 in support of the Brain & Behaviour Research Foundation and Mental Health Support. This total is a record with it being the most money raised during a VTuber charity stream. Stunned by the achievement, Dokibird posted on X/Twitter, “I am honestly blown away from all the support we received for my first big event,” in a tweet that saw her thank her managers, the creators who assisted, and the Dragoons for their generosity. The record-breaking charity drive was split up into multiple segments including an auction hosted on Tiltify that saw a literal piece of paper sell for $4,450. Some other items that raised a lot were the Custom Doki-Themed PC for $6,600, a private 1 on 1 gaming session with Doki for $8,200, and the ability to choose her next official outfit at a staggering $9,600. A big reason why fans kept donating was the stretch goals with Dokibird making various promises when various milestones were hit. This included duet covers with U-San and Dtto, a karaoke stream in March, and even an ASMR stream courtesy of Mr. Man, her manager. Previously, the record for the most successful VTuber charity drive was held by Hololive Production’s Amelia Watson who raised $235,000 for Best Friends Animal Society back in June 2021. This equally impressive stream had remained the record until Dokibird narrowly edged it out.

Doja Cat’s teeth knocked out by brother during alleged abuse – Dexerto
Doja Cat’s teeth knocked out by brother during alleged abuse Instagram: dojacatDoja Cat’s older brother has been accused of ongoing abuse against the rapper. Doja Cat, 28, has been the victim of abuse from her older brother, Raman Dalithando Dlamini, 30. The abuse has allegedly been ongoing both physically and verbally. Claims about the abuse come from Doja’s mom, Deborah Elizabeth Sawyer, who recently filed a restraining order against Raman for Doja’s safety. In the legal documents, Deborah accused Raman of knocking Doja’s teeth out. Though Doja has yet to speak on the abuse, fans have rallied to support the “Paint the Town Red” rapper. Doja Cat’s brother’s abuse called “degrading and demeaning” In legal documents obtained by TMZ, Doja’s mom Deborah claimed that both she and Doja have been on the receiving end of Raman’s physical and verbal abuse. In Deborah’s claims, she said that Raman’s abuse towards Doja is “very degrading and demeaning.” She also claimed that Raman has repeatedly made Doja feel “unsafe and traumatized.” Deborah also alleged that Raman has stolen and damaged Doja’s belongings as well as caused her to have bruises and cuts in the last year. Though Deborah filed for a restraining order against Raman for both she and Doja, the judge ruled that Doja must appear in court and file her own restraining order if she so pleases. However, Deborah was granted court-ordered protection from her son, Raman. Doja has yet to speak on the abuse claims, but that hasn’t stopped fans from giving an outpouring of support for her, “I hope that she finds peace… best wishes to her.” And, “2024… year of justice. I hope she gets just that.” Another fan also mentioned how “odd” relationship dynamics can be, as Doja has more resources than her brother, yet he’s the one gaining dominance over her. Though Doja hasn’t filed a restraining order against her brother, time will tell just how serious the accusations are now that details have been revealed.

Dokibird addresses Nijisanji allegedly sharing confidential documents with other members – Dexerto
Dokibird addresses Nijisanji allegedly sharing confidential documents with other members DokibirdAnother development has surfaced following the termination of Selen Tatsuki’s contract, with the former Nijisanji EN VTuber now responding on her alt account to a confidential document being allegedly shared with other members. After Selen Tatsuki’s contract was terminated on February 5, Nijisanji EN posted a follow-up featuring three of its talents: Elira Pendora, Ike Eveland, and Vox Akuma. The company CEO later addressed Selen’s dismissal promising changes would be made to avoid a similar situation. In the Liver response video, Vox Akuma revealed he had “thoroughly reviewed,” the documents sent to AnyColor despite them being confidential and intended to be kept between designated parties. Though Nijisanji responded swiftly with an internal investigation that cleared them of any wrongdoing or “confidentiality violations.” Having been made aware of the Liver response video while streaming on her alt account, Dokibird confirmed a statement would be posted after she consulted with her lawyers. That statement has now been released detailing her feelings on Nijisanji’s handling of the confidential document. Dokibird responds to Nijisanji EN document controversy In a lengthy response that totals over 900 words, former Nijisanji VTuber Selen Tatsuki expressed her disappointment on her alt account – Dokibird – that the VTuber agency had shared a confidential document with other members. The response opens, “I was ready to move on, I had made my last statement and I haven’t looked at anything regarding my past for a full week,” before elaborating, “I wanted to be hopeful for the future and never interact with that side again. So to see it all come back and reopen a wound that I was ready to heal from and to have to talk to my lawyer again on how to respond.” Dokibird provided insight on the revealed document’s contents saying it was written at her “darkest time mentally,” constructed solely to document her thoughts, and was never intended to be revealed to anyone other than her lawyer. In this segment, she conceded that it did feature voice recordings of other people but claimed these were part of tests for a future collaboration event. Regardless, Dokibird apologized for this “misunderstanding,” which was a key focus of Vox Akuma’s section of the Nijisanji EN Liver response video. Offering further context, Dokibird continued, “Sometimes I didn’t hear anything for days from the lawyers on the other side and felt like I’d be alone and isolated for a long time. It made it so hard for me mentally,” before revealing it was her lawyers that first proposed to send the document to Nijisanji’s legal representatives on February 5. According to Dokibird, her termination was announced less than two hours after the document was sent. This left her “very shocked,” but she assumed it was the last time she would hear about it expecting all involved parties to move on. Instead, Nijisanji posted the aforementioned response and the CEO’s statement which followed shortly after. Alluding to this Dokibird highlights that, “Everything I post to the public about the situation was a response,” emphasizing that she wanted to keep matters private. The ex-Nijisanji member closed by confirming that she would not reveal receipts or documents publicly, believing that doing so would “just make things worse,” describing the internet as being a “cruel place.” Also, she encouraged fans to “show kindness to all parties involved,” wanting to avoid others going through what she has. The final line of the statement reads, “I hope this will be the last statement I have to make,” with Dokibird hoping this she can put the past behind her though if that remains true will depend on future developments.

Doja Cat recreates viral ‘Say So’ TikTok dance for new music video – Dexerto
Doja Cat recreates viral ‘Say So’ TikTok dance for new music video Doja Cat, YouTubeRapper, songwriter, and celebrity sensation Doja Cat has finally unveiled the long-awaited music video for her song ‘Say So’ — and she put an unexpected twist on her choreography. Doja Cat broke into the public consciousness with her viral ‘Moo!’ song in 2018 (better known by its chorus, ‘B*tch I’m a Cow’), later popping off with hits like “Tia Tamera” featuring fellow rapper Rico Nasty. Since then, she’s seen massive success, boasting her very own song for Hollywood hit ‘Birds of Prey’ and album ‘Hot Pink,’ which includes her super popular track ‘Say So.’ The song itself currently boasts over 28 million views on YouTube and even inspired a viral dance video on TikTok, created by internet star Haley “yodelinghaley” Sharpe. Sharpe, who has amassed an impressive 1.2 million followers on the platform, scored a whopping 1.1 million likes for her choreography, which has since gone viral across the net — even catching the attention of Doja Cat, herself. Doja’s ‘Say So’ music video went live on February 27 and has already accumulated over 143k views at the time of writing. But its 70s-inspired glitz and glam aren’t what has social media buzzing; instead, it’s her recreation of the viral TikTok dance, as though paying a star-studded homage to her fans online. That’s not all: Doja even enlisted Sharpe to dance in the video, a clip from which has since gone equally viral across sites like Twitter. One Tweet has even garnered over 12k likes, showing the TikTok creator getting down to the beat onset, doused in the video’s signature purple and pink lighting. the girl who created the say so dance was in the mv with doja cat pic.twitter.com/RktKxeOyPY — بيلا (@sa1lyjaygorce) February 27, 2020 Doja previewed her ‘Say So’ music video by performing the song on The Tonight Show, which has also caught fire on YouTube. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=68NkjShYOSE Considering her smashing success as of late, it comes as little surprise that the rapper’s funky new track is popping off in a major way. Despite the unwavering support, Doja Cat has a few choice words about stans, particularly those who call her “mother.” Doja Cat says “F**k the Girls” tears down stan culture In an interview with Apple Music, Doja Cat spoke candidly about her song “F**k the Girls,” which she says is about stan culture. “It’s me saying, ‘F**k stan Twitter.’ There’s that obsessiveness behind it,” she said. “All the malice towards women in stan culture. The condescending-ness of people being like ‘mother,’ ‘oh my god queen,’” she added. She continued venting her frustrations, particularly about fans “calling women ‘mother’ and expecting them to give and deliver and serve for the purpose of just serving and not just expressing themselves.” “It’s so weird,” she added. “It’s not real. None of that sh*t is real.” In that same interview, she also corrected the media for misquoting her about hating her fans. “You’ll never see a direct quote of me saying, ‘I hate my fans.’ Not once,” she said. “But it’s a really big misquoted thing. Never said that.” With Apple Music, Doja Cat also discussed social media, avoiding politics, and wearing a Sam Hyde t-shirt. For more entertainment news, keep it locked to Dexerto.

Doja Cat loses 200,000 followers in feud with Stranger Things’ Noah Schnapp Doja Cat, InstagramPopstar Doja Cat has lost thousands of followers after getting into unexpected drama with Stranger Things’ Noah Schnapp. The ‘Kiss Me More’ singer recently faced backlash after calling out Noah for leaking a series of messages she’d sent him. The 17-year-old actor, known for playing Will Byers in Netflix’s ‘Stranger Things,’ shared the DMs on a now-deleted TikTok video, which showed Doja Cat asking him to hook her up with his costar, Joseph Quinn. Doja Cat shared her frustration on Instagram Live, saying she didn’t feel comfortable with him posting the messages, describing the move as “socially unaware and wack.” She also went on to accuse Schnapp of acting like a “snake.” Doja Cat bleeding followers after calling out Noah Schnapp The unexpected feud between the two took the internet by surprise. Seemingly as a result of the drama, statistics from Social Blade show that the singer’s Instagram following has decreased from 24.34 million to 24.14 million since the beef began. The social media analytics company also shows that Schnapp’s following increased from 24.25 million to 25.17 million, meaning he has actually profited from the situation. Many people were disappointed by Doja Cat’s choice of words to describe Schnapp, and felt uncomfortable with the 26-year-old singer messaging a 17-year-old. However, some fans jumped to Doja’s defense, not happy with the actor for sharing her messages without the singer’s express permission. Schnapps has yet to respond to Doja’s comments.

Doja Cat is leaving TikTok: “I’m not comfortable” – Dexerto
Doja Cat is leaving TikTok: “I’m not comfortable” YouTube: VoguePopular music artist Doja Cat has announced that she is officially leaving TikTok, claiming that she is no longer “comfortable” with being harassed on the viral video application — and she’s not the first celebrity do so. Doja Cat has become one of the world’s most popular rappers in the last few years. Best known for such hits as ‘Juicy’ and ‘Like That,’ Doja humorously found herself in the spotlight thanks to her viral ‘Moo’ video in 2018, and has been steadily climbing the stairway to fame ever since. However, it seems that Doja is taking a major step back from one of the net’s biggest social media platforms, as revealed in a series of soul-baring Tweets published on January 19. In her tweets, Doja claimed that she no longer wants to post on TikTok, appearing to claim that she’s tired of being harassed and bullied by critics. View this post on Instagram “I’m not comfortable making TikToks anymore,” she wrote. “I feel like something is wrong with me. Y’all got me.” Doja continued by claiming that commenters were “unintentionally gaslighting her,” revealing that she has “struggled” with similar issues before. “I have a lot of fear in me, so it just adds up in the end when I read that kind of shit,” she explained. https://twitter.com/DojaCat/status/1351608239234768897 “It’s really my dumbass fault, cuz I put myself out there to be made fun of anyway, but it’s just reached a point for me, personally,” the rapper added. “So I’m done with the funny shit. Y’all can make fun of my music and my performances, cuz those not meant to be a joke and I’ll feel better about that.” https://twitter.com/DojaCat/status/1351610106727698433 Doja is far from the first celebrity to leave TikTok over similar issues; in September 2020, rapper Taio Cruz also quit the platform, claiming that he’d been bullied to the point of having harmful thoughts, which were brought on by mean commenters. Studies claim that cyberbullying has drastically risen since the onset of the global health crisis — and while Doja has been met with ample support from her fans, we can all do our part to make the internet a nicer place.

Doja Cat fan pages shut down after artist tells loyal ‘Kittenz’ to “get a job” – Dexerto
Doja Cat fan pages shut down after artist tells loyal ‘Kittenz’ to “get a job” IG: dojacat / TwitterGrammy-winning artist Doja Cat is facing an uproar among her supporters, as key fan pages deactivate their accounts in response to her fiery critique of the fan-base term ‘Kittenz.’ The artist stated bluntly in a now-deleted social media post: “My fans don’t name themselves s***. If you call yourself a ‘kitten’ or f***ing ‘kittenz,’ that means you need to get off your phone and get a job and help your parents with the house.” This led to a significant uproar amongst her supporters, many of whom have identified as ‘Kittenz’ for years. A fan with the account name ‘thekittenzweb’ asked for clarification, wondering what to change their handle to in light of Doja Cat’s denunciation of the term. The artist responded bluntly: “Just delete the entire account and rethink everything. It’s never too late.” Further controversy erupted when ‘doja.cat.iran’ requested Doja Cat to express love for her fans, as she frequently does. Doja Cat responded, “I don’t though cuz I don’t even know y’all.” The dialogue turned even darker when ‘dailytaylortea13′ confronted the singer, emphasizing fans’ support through her ups and downs. Doja Cat retaliated, stating, “Nobody forced you [I don’t know] why you’re talking to me like you’re my mother b***h you sound like a crazy person,” leading to even more fallout. Social media platforms were flooded with reactions. One Twitter user criticized the singer for her dismissive attitude towards her fans, writing, “What a lovely way to speak to the people who made you famous.” Similar sentiments echoed across the platform, with many fans expressing disbelief at how the artist could disrespect their fanbase. However, there was a hint of defense amid the criticism. Twitter account MuffinsSim offered a different perspective, suggesting that Doja Cat wasn’t disrespecting her fans but rather discouraging the unhealthy aspects of obsessive ‘stan’ culture. Nevertheless, Doja Cat’s wild comments have led to many of her top fan pages deactivating their social media accounts in what seems to be a protest of the artist’s disrespectful comments. A tweet from PopCrave shows that three accounts, ‘DojaNews,’ ‘TheKittensRoom,’ and ‘DojaHQs,’ are now no longer visible on Twitter. Each account boasted decent followings, with “Doja Cat News” reaching over 47,300 followers before shutting down. The ramifications of this controversy remain to be seen. Whether Doja Cat will feel the need to rectify her words or whether the ‘Kittenz’ will return to their fandom remains uncertain.

Doja Cat fans freak out after rapper wears Sam Hyde shirt on Instagram – Dexerto
Doja Cat fans freak out after rapper wears Sam Hyde shirt on Instagram Instagram: dojacatDoja Cat is once more facing backlash, this time after posting a selfie on Instagram wearing a shirt of alleged Neo-Nazi and comedian Sam Hyde. Doja Cat has been frequenting news headlines as of late for a variety of reasons, and most have little to do with her actual music. From TikTokers theorizing she has been possessed to the rapper herself arguing with fans on social media — intentional or not, Doja is keeping herself in hot water. And now it seems she has done it again, causing a stir among fans after a selfie posted to Instagram featured a controversial comedian printed across her shirt. That comedian was Sam Hyde, who has publicly shown support to alt-right and neo-Nazi groups and has had a series of serious allegations made against him. He’s been dubbed online as a misogynist, racist, and homophobe, with Hope not Hate reporting that Sam once stated, “If I ever get a chance to legally beat women, it’s going down, and it’s going down quickly.” In the selfie, Sam’s photo can be seen plastered across the front of Doja’s shirt, the comedian holding a rifle. Doja deleted and then reposted a cropped version of the selfie on Friday, October 6, but this didn’t stop the rapper’s fans from calling her out. “We saw the first post,” one person wrote on Instagram. Another said, “Girl, get it together. This isn’t cute or funny.” Many felt the shirt crossed a line and took offense to Doja’s latest antics; “I know you’re a funny person and you have a sense of humor but this shirt is absolutely not a joke and it crossed the line into utterly unacceptable.” Despite many asking the rapper why she would own or post anything with Sam Hyde featured, Doja has not yet responded to this latest wave of backlash. Doja Cat faces backlash after calling out Noah Schnapp for sharing DMs YouTube: GQ, James CharlesPop icon Doja Cat is facing backlash after calling out Stranger Things’ Noah Schnapp for sharing their DMs — where she notably asked for actor Joseph Quinn’s digits. Stranger Things is taking over the internet as fans gush over the Netflix show’s latest season and mourn a major character death. (No spoilers here.) One of the newest additions to the cast, Eddie Munson, is a huge fan-favorite… and apparently, Doja Cat is also quite interested in the metalhead hero. On July 7, Noah Schnapp (best known for portraying Will Byers in Stranger Things), shared some DMs between himself and Doja Cat, where she asked him to help her link up with Munson’s actor, Joseph Quinn. Schnapp later shared the exchange to social media… but Doja wasn’t a fan of him airing out her romantic intentions toward the star. “The fact that Noah did that, like went and posted a private conversation between me and him is so unbelievably socially unaware and wack,” she said in a video response. “That’s like borderline snake sh*t, that’s like weasel sh*t.” While Schnapp has yet to make a public reply to her callout, the internet appears to be backing him up as many netizens are taking issue with her reaction to the actor’s post — and hitting him up for Joseph’s deets in the first place. “Doja cat calling Noah Schnapp [is] wack,” one user tweeted. “Like she’s not sliding in a teenager’s DMs to ask them to hook her up with someone lmao. The Japanese shiba inu, who won the hearts of millions of people across the world, had been suffering from leukemia and liver disease. Her owner, Atsuko Sato, took to Instagram to announce the news on Friday, 24 May, to Kabosu’s 525,000 followers. “To all of you who loved Kabosu, on the morning of the 24 May, Kabosu crossed the rainbow bridge. Thank you all so much for your support over the years,” Atsuko Sato, her owner, wrote on Instagram. “She went very peacefully without suffering, as if falling asleep while feeling the warmth of my hands petting her. Thank you all so much for loving Kabosu all these years. “I am certain Kabosu was the happiest dog in the world. That makes me the happiest owner in the world. I would like to express my deepest appreciation to everyone who has sent us much love to us.” Sato, a teacher from Japan, adopted Kabosu in 2008 when she was sent to an animal shelter after her puppy mill shut down. Kabosu became an internet sensation when a 2010 photo of her with crossed paws and a slight smirk spread on Reddit and Tumblr. A Reddit user at the time referred to the image as “Doge” – the intentional misspelling of dog a nod to a 2005 episode of Homestar Runner. The doge meme became popular in 2013, as people use coloured Comic Sans text to overlay the photo, with broken English phrases like “Wow. So scare” and “What r u doing?” surrounding Kabosu. In 2021 the “Doge” meme sold as a non-fungible token (NFT) for $4m (£3.2m). Kabosu is also the face of the cryptocurrency Dogecoin, which was originally created as a “joke” currency and is the sleeve sponsor of English football team Watford Football Club.

Doja Cat begs Elon Musk to let her change Christmas “mistake” on Twitter – Dexerto
Doja Cat begs Elon Musk to let her change Christmas “mistake” on Twitter YouTube: Verified/PewDiePieMusic star Doja Cat has been begging Elon Musk to let her change her name on Twitter from Christmas after the platform changed its rules around name changes for verified accounts. At the end of October, Elon Musk finally closed his massive deal to take ownership of Twitter, shelling out a reported $44 billion for the social media platform. The Tesla CEO has set about making some pretty big changes to Twitter since the takeover, including the introduction of verification for Twitter Blue accounts. Anyone who shells out the $8 per month for the premium plan will get a verification tick. However, you cannot change your display name if you do so. That’s a change from previous rules where you could change your display name, but you couldn’t change your actual Twitter handle or you’d lose the tick. Doja Cat is stuck as Christmas on Twitter after rule change Well, Doja Cat has fallen foul of the new rules after she recently changed her name to Christmas in order to get into the holiday spirit. “Why can’t I change my name on here,” the singer-songwriter asked on November 9. “How do I change it, also f**k you Elon.” She went a step further shortly after, tagging Musk in another tweet. “I don’t wanna be Christmas forever @elonmusk. Please help, I’ve made a mistake,” Doja added. That got her on Musk’s radar as he offered up a reply shortly after. “Working on it!” he said, before adding: “Pretty funny though.” Doja also took some shots at people who have already signed up for Twitter Blue, questioning why they’re paying $8 a month to post what they do. Seeing as Musk has already reverted a few changes – most notably the new ‘official’ tag he’d rolled out for pre-existing verified accounts – he could change the new rules on display names. The South African business magnate has admitted Twitter will make its air share of mistakes with changes, so we’ll just have to wait and see what he has planned.

Dog flying Delta Airlines reunites with owner after three weeks missing Instagram: pcrodA dog who was supposed to board a Delta Airlines flight goes missing for three weeks and reunites with their owner after being found hiding at the Atlanta airport. Harrison-Jackson Atlanta International Airport is considered the busiest airport in the US. Just last year, the Georgia-based airport boarded at least 45.4 million passengers. So when Paulina Rodriguez planned to travel with her dog Maia from the Dominican Republic to California, with a stop in Atlanta, she never could have imagined that her dog would go missing among all the chaos. While Maia was lost, Rodriguez took to her Instagram to alert the public about her missing pup, saying, “She is not just my dog, she is my best friend on earth.” Maia was found hiding near cargo facilities at Atlanta airport Though Rodriguez was assured by Delta Airlines that Maia would be at the facility she was transported to while Rodriguez was traveling, Maia wasn’t there when Rodriguez showed up to unite with her. Rodriguez then stated on her Instagram, “Delta took her away from me even though I kindly asked them… She was my emotional support, she was in distress, broke her kennel, and ran into the airport highway.” Delta Airlines then contacted Rodriguez days later to say that Maia had escaped her kennel on the airport ramp and ran away. Rodriguez then took to social media again to say, “I am truly desperate, and every minute counts… To clarify, I am not in Atlanta and I have no way right now to get there, but I have people who will go to the ATL airport in person very soon.” Luckily for the hopeful dog owner, a miraculous discovery of Maia hiding in the north cargo facility at the ATL airport happened on September 9, three weeks after she had gone missing. After Rodriguez reunited with Maia, Atlanta airport took to Twitter to update the public, saying, “ATL’s Operations team found her hiding near the north cargo facilities.” They continued, “Tired, but in apparent good health. She was transported to a vet and is expected to return home soon.” Rodriguez hasn’t commented since reuniting with Maia, however, she did take to Instagram to share a photo of her and Maia at the beach right after she was found.

Does TikTok’s ‘carrot tanning’ trend actually work? Health expert reveals truth – Dexerto
Does TikTok’s ‘carrot tanning’ trend actually work? Health expert reveals truth TikTok: isabelle.lux, adixovicTikTok’s latest beauty fad claims that eating a surplus of carrots can help you tan faster. But does it actually work? Health experts have weighed in on the subject for those wanting to try the method for themselves. TikTok is rife with beauty trends and fads that take over the platform from time to time. With summer in full swing, more and more users are looking for easy ways to get a perfect tan and are turning to the app for help. Most recently, a fad went viral on the platform that claimed dousing oneself in beer could help accelerate a summer tan — but experts warned against this theory, saying that it could actually result in a nasty sunburn, instead. The latest tanning ‘hack’ taking over TikTok is decidedly less dangerous… and far more nutritious. Experts debunk TikTok’s viral ‘carrot tanning’ hack Lately, a few videos have gone viral on TikTok claiming that eating carrots can help you achieve a perfect summer glow. TikToker Isabelle Lux went viral after claiming that she gets her bronzed complexion from eating three large carrots a day. “I’ve been doing this for years,” the influencer said. “I don’t fake tan anymore. I don’t go out during the day in the sunlight, and this is literally my natural skin color.” However, some users were skeptical if this method actually works. So, what do the experts have to say? As per the Huffington Post, Abbas Kanani, a pharmacist from Chemist Click Online Pharmacy, claims that carrots are rich in a compound called beta-carotene, which accounts for the vegetable’s bright orange color. When eaten in large quantities, the skin can take on a slightly orange hue due to this compound, which might account for the tan color some influencers swear by. That’s not all; Kanani says that the body can convert beta-carotene into Vitamin A, which is helpful for repairing skin damage. On top of this, carrots are also chock full of antioxidants, which can help the skin recover from sun damage. However, he states that the ‘tan’ brought on from eating a ton of carrots isn’t likely to last very long and isn’t the same as getting a bronze glow from laying out by the pool. So, there you have it — it looks like carrots are more likely to turn you orange than give you an enviable sun-tan. This isn’t the first time experts have debunked skincare myths. Does Tom Holland have TikTok? Fake accounts fuel rumors – Dexerto
Does Tom Holland have TikTok? Fake accounts fuel rumors TikTok: tomhoiiand1996 / Instagram: tomholland2013Several accounts claiming to be actor Tom Holland with millions of followers have been surging in popularity on TikTok recently, with videos engineered to look bizarrely genuine. But do any of them really belong to the actor himself? After TikTok exploded in popularity when it shifted over from musical.ly, many influencers – such as the likes of Charli and Dixie D’Amelio – have found an extraordinary level of fame from their lip-syncing content. In fact, TikTok has become so widespread that many mainstream celebrities have found themselves making accounts on the platform to keep in the loop with their younger fans and participate in some of its hugely viral trends. Stars such as Jason Derulo have ended up securing a whole new crop of fans via the popular app, so it’s no wonder that users will constantly be on the lookout for their favorite celebrities finally making accounts. Why do people think Tom Holland has TikTok? People cannot be blamed for assuming that the Spiderman actor, and upcoming Uncharted star, has a TikTok account, as some users have done a frighteningly convincing job of posing as the beloved actor. Accounts such as tomhoiiand1996 have over a million followers, and regularly post videos that Tom has taken of himself, as if they were being posted to TikTok for the first time. They’ve even made it look as though the actor has duetted with people, or participated in TikTok trends. In one viral clip from another million follower account, tholland1997, a video of Tom staring at the camera has the caption, “You think you can hurt my feelings? People say I can’t go on social media without spoiling movies” as part of the Bulletproof challenge. In the comment sections underneath these videos, people are understandably baffled, since the incredibly convincing videos and high follower accounts appear to prove that it’s the real actor. “I’m soooo confused,” one user said, with another exclaiming, “Is this really Tom Holland? Like real real? Sorry omg I have trust issues.” Does Tom Holland actually have TikTok? However, many are setting people straight in the comments, saying things like, “It’s funny to me that people believe that these accounts are real even though the only people he follows are his costars like he has no other friends.” Others inform misguided viewers that the clip posted to the accounts are actually pulled from his Instagram lives and are made to look as though they have been made specifically for TikTok. Read More: How to use special fonts on Twitter – One account, however, with half as many followers as the fake accounts, does appear to be Tom’s ‘real’ account, tomholland1996. This is the remainder of his old musical.ly account that was copied over on the migration to TikTok, but has not been active for five years. It seems the bizarre phenomenon won’t be coming to a halt anytime soon, though maybe it will prompt Tom Holland to give the viral app a go.

Does TikTok notify the creators when you screenshot videos? – Dexerto
Does TikTok notify the creators when you screenshot videos? Unsplash: Solen FeyissaScreenshotting is a great way to save something you’ve seen online without having to save the actual content. However, many people often wonder if TikTok notifies a creator when they screenshot their video on the app. TikTok has not only become a hub for viral trends and videos, but it has also become a go-to place to share cool hacks, recipes, tips, and general life advice in short videos. This means that sometimes you’ll want to screenshot a TikTok so you can remember useful information later on, in case it gets lost in your ‘liked’ section and you’re not able to find it again. However, on some app like Snapchat, if you screenshot somebody’s post they actually receive a notification for it, and it’s got some users wondering if it’s the same for TikTok. Do creators get notified if you screenshot their TikTok? Creators will not get notified if you screenshot one of their TikToks. This also means that if you upload a video to TikTok, you won’t know if anybody screenshots your videos, so when you put anything on the app it’s wise to keep this in mind. You can switch off the save function on your videos, but this, unfortunately, doesn’t prevent people from taking a screenshot or saving the post via other means. How to prevent TikTok screenshots The best way to prevent someone from taking a screenshot of your content is to either not post anything you don’t want to be screenshotted or to make your account private. To private your TikTok account: Open TikTok. – Go to the ‘Me’ tab. – Click the three small dots in the upper right corner. – Go to the ‘Privacy’ section. – Switch ‘Private account’ on. – It may not be the most ideal solution, but is the easiest way to ensure that no one can screenshot your videos without permission, as you won’t be notified if someone does.

Does TikTok tell you who viewed your profile? – Dexerto
Does TikTok tell you who viewed your profile? Unsplash: Alexander ShatovUsing TikTok is a lot easier once you know how much of your activity is public, like whether or not people are notified when you view their profile. Over the past couple of years, the short-form video platform TikTok has been on a massive rise in popularity, becoming the center of the internet’s most viral content. But as you take a look at different peoples’ profiles on the app, you may be wondering whether they can see if you have viewed them. It used to be the case on the app that you could tap your notification tab and look at the ‘viewed my profile’ section to see who had viewed your profile. At one point, you would even receive notifications to alert you to new profile views. But, is that still a feature? Can people see who viewed their TikTok profile? Yes, creators can see some of the people who viewed their TikTok profile, as long as they have the profile views feature enabled. Although TikTok removed the ability to see who has viewed your profile a while back, there were reports in January 2022 that TikTok was adding the feature back in on an opt-in basis. Users started reporting that the feature had returned in 2022, although not everyone was happy to see it make a comeback. It’s not possible to see exactly who has viewed your videos, however. People can see how many times a video has been viewed from the thumbnail on their profile page, but this doesn’t include information about specific accounts. Why can’t I see my profile views on TikTok? If you used to be able to see your profile views on TikTok but now can’t, chances are you’ve either had your age set for under 16 years old, or you’ve accidentally turned off your profile views. If you’re under 16, there’s nothing you’ll be able to do, as TikTok recently made this feature unable for anyone under that age. However, if your age was set to 16 by mistake, you can contact TikTok to have it changed. If you, however, accidentally turned off your profile views on TIkTok, there’s an easy way to fix it. Just follow the steps below. How to turn profile views on and off If you have received access to the profile views feature and you decide that you want to try it out, turning it on and off again is a pretty straightforward process. To do so, simply follow these steps: Open TikTok. – Go to the ‘Profile’ tab. – Tap the footsteps icon in the top right corner of the screen. – Select ‘Turn on.’ – To turn it off again, just navigate to the eye icon on your profile again, and in the top-right corner click the gear icon. After that, toggle the switch to off. You are able to turn the setting off and on at any time. Only viewers who have turned on profile views and viewed your profile within the past 30 days will be shown.

Does Squid Game’s HoYeon Jung have TikTok? Verified account confuses fans – Dexerto
Does Squid Game’s HoYeon Jung have TikTok? Verified account confuses fans Instagram: hoooooyeony‘Squid Game’ actress HoYeon Jung is receiving an enormous influx of followers after the success of the Netflix show, but an unofficial verified account on TikTok has left fans confused about which social media platforms the star is active on. By this point, it seems there’s no one left who hasn’t heard of hit South Korean show ‘Squid Game.’ The gory series has taken the world by storm, and has even become the number one most-watched Netflix show in over 90 countries. Fans have naturally been keen to follow the talented actors on social media after finishing the show, and many of them have been seeing insane growth in their follower count within just a matter of weeks. But no one has seen more of a rise than model and actress HoYeon Jung, who now has over 18 million followers on Instagram, making her the most followed Korean actress on the site. ‘Squid Game’ has received an enormous amount of attention on short-form video app TikTok, meaning people are also looking to see if HoYeon has an account there too. But thousands have been left confused by a verified account seemingly posing as the star. The account is called ‘heyonjungnotofficial,’ although contrary to the username, they are actually verified, with over 3.5 million followers. So far, they’ve posted several short clips of the actress, and many fans were left wondering whether this is really her account or not. However, HoYeon cleared up the confusion on October 9 in an Instagram story. “This is the only social media account I have at the moment,” she wrote. “I am currently not on Twitter, TikTok, etc. Thank you again for your support!” The TikTok account has now changed its bio to reflect the fact it’s a “fanpage,” but many in the comments are calling out the mystery user for only changing it because they were “exposed.” Although fans now know for sure that it’s fake, many are still hoping that HoYeon will eventually actually get her own TikTok account, and perhaps join in with some of the ‘Squid Game’ related trends on the platform.

Does rosemary oil actually help hair grow? Viral hair hack explained – Dexerto
Does rosemary oil actually help hair grow? Viral hair hack explained TikTok: sarahsaleen, gelila_xoThe latest ‘hack’ taking over social media claims to help hair grow fast by using rosemary oil, but does it actually work? Here’s what we know about the plant’s supposed hair-growing properties. Sites like TikTok are known for kicking off the next big viral trends and ‘life hacks.’ Although some of these ‘hacks’ don’t actually work, a few have taken the internet by storm for being convenient and easy ways to get a desired outcome. (Ever heard of ‘laundry stripping?’) More than a few of the internet’s biggest ‘hacks’ have to do with beauty, such as a viral hack that uses socks in damp hair to achieve jaw-dropping curls the next morning. (Bye bye, curing iron!) Now, another hair hack is taking over social media, and it uses rosemary oil to supposedly achieve eye-popping hair growth. TikTok’s rosemary oil hair growth hack explained Rosemary oil is extracted from the rosemary plant, which is an herb most often used to season dishes when cooking food. However, the herb is also a popular ingredient in skin and hair care. Many claim the plant has anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties. Influencers have been using rosemary oil to supposedly grow their hair, claiming the plant has allowed their locks to grow lightning-fast, among other supposed benefits. Most folks take sprigs of rosemary and crush them up using a pestle and mortar, then place the sprigs into an oil of their choice and allow it to sit for a period of time to concentrate before placing it on their scalp. Some mix their rosemary oil with other ingredients like tea tree oil, which is also used to fight dandruff. Others have been going gaga over a very popular product that mixed rosemary oil with other ingredients like biotin, Mielle’s Rosemary Mint Scalp and Hair Strengthening Oil. But does it actually work? Right now, there is very limited evidence suggesting that rosemary oil helps aid in hair growth, but a study that compared rosemary oil to hair loss drug minoxidil found that both treatments bore similar results after a six-month period. According to board-certified dermatologist Marnie Nussbaum via Elle, Rosemary oil “contains carnosic acid, which is known to heal nerve damage, tissue damage, and improve cellular turnover.” YouTuber and dermatologist Dr Dray had similar comments on rosemary oil, saying that although there’s simply not enough studies to completely confirm it 100% works, rosemary is “chock full of a variety of compounds that are antioxidants, anti-inflammatory, and have antimicrobial effects.” She also cautioned that rosemary oil might not be the best option for folks with finer hair, noting that the product felt extremely “heavy” on her own fine hair. Hairstylist Matt Newman gave similar advice via Elle, saying that people with fine hair types might want to use the oil sparingly and before they shampoo so their hair isn’t weighted down with oil. This is just the latest hair trend to take over the internet after TikTok’s ‘hair theory’ fad had people completely obsessed with their hair color.

From the number of videos he shared, some fans suspect that the actor has been using the app, but it’s currently unclear whether Sebastian has been sent these videos via other platforms, or whether he has his own account that he uses to look at content. But even if the star does have an account, it doesn’t currently appear to be one that is public. Now that fans have seen him share the love for TikTok, many are already hoping that he will make a public profile at some point to share some content of his own on the platform. People are already keeping a close eye out for any accounts that could possibly belong to the star as if he’s anything like the other celebs that have joined TikTok, it may be that he doesn’t announce his presence right away.

Does Crumbl Cookies use Betty Crocker cake mix? Viral TikTok sparks rumors – Dexerto
Does Crumbl Cookies use Betty Crocker cake mix? Viral TikTok sparks rumors YouTube: Crumbl Cookies / TikTokCrumbl Cookies is one of the trendiest confectionaries right now, and it’s taking over social media — but a viral TikTok is throwing the beloved bakery into question. Crumbl Cookies is TikTok’s favorite cookie destination. The bakery boasts a number of unique flavors, including everything from your basic chocolate chip to the Almost Everything Bagel and more. Their cookies are soft, flavorful, and huge; in fact, one single cookie is almost bigger than the size of this writer’s hand. The general fanfare surrounding Crumbl Cookies on social media has been hit with a major rumor, though, after one cookie-lover discovered some shocking ingredients at her local spot. TikTok users outraged over cake mix boxes at Crumbl Cookies TikToker ‘Ashleigh Tobin’ posted a video to the popular social media platform on September 7 showing the kitchen at her Crumbl Cookies location…which happened to have what looks like several boxes of Betty Crocker cake mix behind the counter. “So, you’re telling me Crumbl uses Betty Crocker cake mix?” she captioned the video, which has garnered over 3 million views since being uploaded a day ago, at the time of writing. Commenters are expressing their disappointment and distaste for this potential ingredient, citing concerns with the chain’s prices. However, a few former Crumbl employees pointed out that not all of the bakery’s cookies use the cake mix. Instead, they claim that this is an ingredient for a specialty cookie only. Other commenters pointed out that plenty of professional bakers and confectionaries use cake mix… but others weren’t so sure about that point. Whatever the case may be, it’s clear that TikTok isn’t impressed by the hype surrounding Crumbl Cookies — nor its lawsuit against rival company Dirty Dough, which they claim copied their branding. This is just the latest baking-related drama to take over the platform, after users became horrified after learning where vanilla flavoring actually comes from.

Does Jeffree Star’s tweet confirm rift with James Charles is over? – Dexerto
Does Jeffree Star’s tweet confirm rift with James Charles is over? Jeffree Star, James Charles / YouTubeYouTuber and beauty guru James Charles faced intense backlash in summer 2019, after mentor Tati Westbrook made damning accusations against him — but she wasn’t the only one involved in the scandal. Fellow makeup mogul Jeffree Star likewise weighed in on the drama, which spawned after Westbrook accused Charles of using his fame to manipulate the sexuality of straight men he took interest in. Alleging that his ex-boyfriend Nathan had banned Charles from their home, Star labeled the young YouTuber “a danger to society,” claiming that “everything Tati said is 100% true.” However, a recent tweet from Star may have hinted that the two content creators are on good terms after the fallout, posted nearly a year after Tati’s infamous video “No More Lies” went viral across social media. Star commented on Charles’ March 20 makeup collaboration with TikTok star Charli D’Amelio, which reached the top of YouTube’s trending page shortly after going live. “Umm, you look SO gorgeous!!!” Star said of D’Amelio’s colorful eyeshadow look, which Charles created, himself. “James killed it, per usual.” Umm you look SO gorgeous!!! James killed it per usual 💯 https://t.co/qb5qv5SgP7 — Jeffree Star (@JeffreeStar) March 22, 2020 While the comment could merely be a small pleasantry, fans are speculating that his Tweet hints at a rekindled relationship with the young beauty guru after he put Tati’s rumors to rest in his now-viral “No More Lies” video. “Wait, y’all are friends again?” one confused fan wrote in response to the unexpected interaction. “Like, did I miss something?” “Are you hacked?” another asked. “We love positivity, but I really had to go outside and check if pigs were flying,” yet another commented. https://twitter.com/Cakey_Dawson/status/1241537497022312449?s=20 Even Drama Alert’s KEEMSTAR chimed in on the matter with an enthusiastic, “AWWW.” Although there’s no telling just yet if these two YouTubers have officially made up, Star’s post has certainly kindled the fires of fan rumors in wake of a hugely tumultuous time for Charles. Star notably backed down from his stance on the 2019 issue after claiming he had “receipts” that would expose James for “mass manipulation,” later arguing that he was “not going to fuel this fire bigger so everyone can get more entertainment.” Although Star decided to step away from the drama, things have been relatively quiet between the two beauty tubers — until now. While it’s certain that they’ve made up, fans will definitely be keeping a close eye as YouTubers as events continue to unfold.

Does Andrew Tate have lung cancer? Tate claims lungs contain “0 smoking damage” – Dexerto
Does Andrew Tate have lung cancer? Tate claims lungs contain “0 smoking damage” Rumble: TateSpeechMedical documents surfaced online that claimed Andrew Tate is suffering from lung cancer. Now, his manager is speaking out about the rumored prognosis. Controversial internet commentator Andrew Tate is currently being detained by Romanian authorities on charges of human trafficking, rape, and organized crime. The former kickboxer launched into the limelight last year and received ample criticism for his views on women. Now, he sits in prison amid an ongoing investigation into the charges against him. Despite pleading for release, Tate’s request was recently denied for a fourth time — and a recent health diagnosis is only adding further fuel to the fire. Contents Medical documents claim Tate has lesion on lung – Andrew Tate’s manager seemingly confirms lung cancer diagnosis – Medical records claim Andrew Tate’s tumor is benign – Andrew Tate addresses cancer claims on Twitter – Medical documents claim Tate has lesion on lung In March 2023, medical documents surfaced online stating that a lesion had been spotted on the “right upper” portion of one of his lungs. Tate reportedly traveled to Dubai to receive medical care, where these findings were collected. The documents also included a letter from Tate’s GP at the UAE’s King’s College Hospital, who pleaded for Tate to return to the country in order to receive treatment. “It is my professional medical recommendation that Andrew is urgently repatriated to the United Arab Emirates to undergo these medical investigations without delay,” the letter reads. “Time is of the essence and any further delay in the above investigations may have a serious negative implication for Andrew’s physical health.” The leaked documents quickly sparked an avalanche of theories online, with some believing them to be fake while others suggested Tate may be using the diagnosis to escape Romanian law enforcement. Andrew Tate’s manager seemingly confirms lung cancer diagnosis On March 3, Tate’s manager spoke out regarding the lung cancer rumors, claiming that the diagnosis was, indeed, true. “Okay a lot of people are asking me if [the] Tate lung cancer story is true,” he wrote in a post via his Instagram stories. “Yes, it’s true. I was the one driving him to and from the hospitals in Dubai. I don’t have any more specifics to share.” Medical records claim Andrew Tate’s tumor is benign According to the leaked medical report, Andrew Tate was taken to the hospital twice in December of 2022 for a chest x-ray and CT scan. He was scheduled for further medical examinations in January, but his arrest halted the investigation. But as reported in January, Andrew Tate was taken from jail to the hospital, where a biopsy was performed. The leaked medical reports detail the outcome of the biopsy, including a tumor that was found on Tate’s lung. According to the report, Andrew Tate’s lung tumor is benign – not cancerous – but could still cause severe health issues. Tate’s manager posted a screenshot of the results to his Instagram story stating, “Tate actually did have the biopsy that Dubai specialists recommended. Report says tumor is benign.” Andrew Tate addresses lung cancer claims on Twitter A day after Andrew Tate’s medical records were leaked, his Twitter profile posted a response to the news. “I do not have cancer.” the tweet read, “My lungs contain precisely 0 smoking damage.” This was followed by various unsubstantiated claims, such as having an 8L lung capacity, that the scar was from an “old battle,” and that he’s estimated to live 5,000 more years. He also referenced the Tales of Wudan, a fantasy memoir recounting a fictional past life in which Andrew Tate lived for 5,000 years atop the Wudan Mountain in ancient China. He implies that the lesion mentioned in the reports was an injury received during his time living in Wudan. This is just the latest news to come from Tate’s arrest following claims from his lawyer arguing that the commentator was merely “playing a character” in his online content.

Does Austin McBroom own Social Gloves? YouTuber under fire after fighters not paid – Dexerto
Does Austin McBroom own Social Gloves? YouTuber under fire after fighters not paid Instagram: austinmcbroomIt’s being alleged that the ACE Family’s Austin McBroom owns Social Gloves, the company that ran the YouTubers vs TikTokers boxing event, and he’s coming under fire after fighters have reported not being paid amid PPV struggles. A number of fighters from the YouTubers vs TikTokers event, as well as their friends, have claimed that they’ve not been paid in the aftermath. Social Gloves have said they’re “working tirelessly” to make sure fighters who haven’t been paid, such as Vinnie Hacker, will get their money. Obviously, Social Gloves isn’t exactly a well-established promotion in the boxing world, with the likes of Triller Fight Club more popular in the influencer boxing world. Now, it’s becoming clear that there’s more than meets the eye with Social Gloves. Tana Mongeau accuses McBroom of owning Social Gloves not austin mcbroom owning most of social gloves and then everyone being surprised people aren’t getting paid 💀 — Tana Mongeau (@tanamongeau) June 26, 2021 For the most part, nobody was really talking much about Social Gloves until it became apparent that fighters weren’t being paid. This comes after the Battle of the Platforms allegedly only made 136,000 PPV sales — a long way off the expected 500,000. Tana said it’s “no surprise” that fighters aren’t getting paid considering McBroom “owns most of Social Gloves.” McBroom responded saying that Tana is “speaking on sh*t she doesn’t know about” and that “a lawsuit is happening and it’s not with Social Gloves.” He doesn’t confirm or deny any ownership stake in the company. Not the most desperate human being speaking on shit she doesn’t know about. Don’t try and bring me or the event down to make you feel better about Tanacon. Every fighter including myself will be getting paid and a lawsuit is happening and it’s not with social gloves dumb dumb — Austin McBroom (@AustinMcbroom) June 26, 2021 Social Gloves trademark belongs to McBroom’s company While Austin himself hasn’t spoken publicly about any ownership in Social Gloves, a quick search in the United States Patent and Trademark Office directory shows that Social Gloves is owned by a McBroom-owned company. The owner of the Social Gloves trademark is Ace Hat Collection, Inc. The CEO of Ace Hat Collection, Inc. is, of course, the Ace Family’s Austin McBroom, with wife Catherine listed as a secretary. Obviously, this ties the company with McBroom and, ultimately, puts the pressure of unpaid competitors into his hands. Whether there are more stakeholders involved is unclear. So it seems as though Austin definitely holds ownership in Social Gloves, and now the question is whether he will address the situation head-on.

Doctors warn against viral Aloe vera juice TikTok trend – Dexerto
Doctors warn against viral Aloe vera juice TikTok trend TikTok: brialem / Unsplash.com: Ergita SelaDrinking Aloe vera juice is the latest health trend to take over TikTok — but doctors are warning that this wellness craze could have adverse side effects. TikTok is responsible for just about every popular fad on the internet these days. From making designer handbags sell out in stores to persuading basically everyone to try that infamous baked feta pasta, the viral video platform is known for sparking the next big thing. However, some of these crazes can be dangerous: TikTok notably removed “milk crate challenge” videos due to numerous reports of injuries stemming from the movement, and doctors have warned against the site’s ‘Nutmeg Challenge’ due to side effects like hallucinations. Viral Aloe vera juice trend sparks warning from doctors Now, health professionals are issuing yet another warning toward one of the app’s more recent trends — drinking Aloe vera juice. While you may have seen drinks with Aloe in them at grocery stores, this latest fad has users drinking the stuff straight-up as a dietary supplement. Read More: What is the My Little Pony TikTok sound? – Aloe vera gel is often used as a topical treatment for sunburns and has been proven to help with skin conditions like acne due to its anti-inflammatory properties. TikTok’s new craze, though, is suggesting that people drink it to help with their skin and gut health. Click here if TikTok fails to load. Unfortunately, it looks like doctors aren’t too sold on the idea, and several even warned against drinking aloe juice in an interview with Buzzfeed’s Fabiana Buontempo. Read More: How to delete your TikTok account – “In my experience, Aloe vera juice is not helpful — and, in some cases, can actually be harmful,” Gastroenterologist Sypriya Rao said. “It can cause deposits of melanin in the colon, a benign condition called melanosis coli.” Click here if TikTok fails to load. Dermatologist Dr. Diane Madfes had a similar warning: “This is not a good trend, in my opinion, and Aloe vera is only good for the skin when it is applied topically due to its soothing and hydrating properties.” This is just the latest health-related trend to take off on TikTok, following the site’s viral coffee lemon weight loss “hack” that had doctors dubbing it “nonsense.”

Doctors warn against viral potato juice cure for strep throat – Dexerto
Doctors warn against viral potato juice cure for strep throat Pixabay / TikTokHealth experts are warning against a viral TikTok trend that claims raw potato juice can cure strep throat. TikTok is home to a wide variety of viral fads and trends, many of which aim to improve users’ health in unconventional ways. Last year, for example, TikTok was abuzz with a drink called the ‘internal shower,’ which saw users combine chia seeds with lemon juice to relieve constipation. However, nutritionists claimed that there was no guarantee this concoction would cause any relief. Now, another health fad is taking over the site — and doctors are urging users to seek medical attention, instead. Experts urge TikTokers against using potato juice for strep throat If you’ve been browsing TikTok lately, you may have come across a health ‘hack’ that claims drinking potato juice can cure strep throat. Strep throat is caused by bacteria, resulting in a sore throat, fever, and swollen tonsils, among other symptoms. While a trip to the doctor is usually recommended to cure the infection with antibiotics, a few TikTokers are claiming that they put their strep throat on pause with potato juice. For example, one TikToker urged netizens to drink 6-8 ounces of raw potato juice a day to clear up their strep throat, saying the method was a ‘natural remedy’ that could relieve symptoms in ‘2-3 days.’ Yet another claimed that her daughter’s strep throat was gone “within two hours” after using the potato juice remedy — but doctors are saying otherwise. TikToker and medical doctor ‘Dr. Idz’ is hitting back at this latest health trend, calling it “one of the most dangerous” health fads he’s seen online. “Do not treat your child with potato juice if they have severe throat symptoms,” Dr. Idz advised. “If a potato juice seems to ease the sore throat, symptom relief does not mean the bacterial infection is dead.” “If your child has strep throat, get it treated quickly and properly. Don’t listen to these quacks online.” This is just the latest health trend coming under fire from professionals after TikTokers started marinating their chicken breasts in NyQuil last year.

Doctors warn against dangerous ‘Sleepy Chicken’ TikTok trend – Dexerto
Doctors warn against dangerous ‘Sleepy Chicken’ TikTok trend TikTok: caffeinatedhero / igrobfloViral recipe ‘Sleepy Chicken’ or ‘NyQuil Chicken’ is making a resurgence on TikTok, but doctors are warning that its effects could potentially be dangerous. One of the many things TikTok is known for is being a home to thousands of viral recipes, from full meals to sweet treats. Some have even developed huge followings as a result of their simple cooking advice, which has millions flocking to their videos. However, sometimes a recipe makes its way around the app and causes a stir along the way. ‘NyQuil Chicken’ or ‘Sleepy Chicken,’ which first emerged on social media several years ago, is one such recipe. True to its name, the dish involves braising chicken in nighttime cold medicine, turning it a less than appealing shade of blue. Click here if TikTok doesn’t load Videos of people making it have garnered hundreds and thousands of views, although users suspect that a number of them are satirical. But just in case you were tempted to try the trend, doctors have been warning against it, claiming the dish could be dangerous. Speaking to MIC, Richmond-based physician Aaron Hartmon said: “Taking medicine with food typically isn’t dangerous, since many people do it with their daily dosage of medicine. When you cook cough medicine like NyQuil, however, you boil off the water and alcohol in it, leaving the chicken saturated with a super concentrated amount of drugs in the meat.” Click here if TikTok doesn’t load “If you ate one of those cutlets completely cooked, it’d be as if you’re actually consuming a quarter to half a bottle of NyQuil.” He added that heating up the drug can change its chemical composition, and that, “Inhaled, these medicines also enter your bloodstream really quickly and are not going past your liver for detoxification. The effects can be quite bad depending on how much you inhale.” This certainly won’t be the last bizarre, or even dangerous food trend to sweep the app, and it looks like Sleepy Chicken could continue to rear its head again in the years to come.

Doctors warn against TikTok’s viral ‘Plan B’ pregnancy test hack – Dexerto
Doctors warn against TikTok’s viral ‘Plan B’ pregnancy test hack TikTok: remy.too.official / itscamcaseyDoctors are warning TikTok users not to attempt the ‘Plan B’ hack that’s going viral on the app, with some users claiming that there is a Plan B pill hidden inside pregnancy tests. TikTok is home to a whole host of so-called ‘life hacks’ — some that have been around on the internet for years, and others that have been popularized thanks to the short-form video platform in recent years. These tips and tricks can include anything from draining your pasta a certain way to wearing your jeans in the shower, and videos demonstrating the hacks often go on to get millions of views and likes, with viewers eager to try it out for themselves. However, doctors are warning against one ‘tip’ that has been going viral on TikTok, particularly throughout 2022, where some users are claiming that there is a Plan B pill (also known as the Morning After Pill) inside pregnancy tests. Click here if TikTok doesn’t load In countless videos uploaded to TikTok, users can be seen prying open plastic pregnancy tests, and finding a small, circular, pill-looking item, which some are falsely claiming to be a Plan B pill. The trend has been concerning viewers across the platform, and in April, Dr. Karan Raj, who is a popular doctor on TikTok, warned people against attempting it. “No, do not eat the tablets you find in a pregnancy test,” he said in a stitch with one of the most viral videos. “They are not a Plan B or an emergency contraceptive pill, they are a desiccant tablet used to absorb and hold moisture to extend the shelf life of a pregnancy test, similar to the little silica packets you find in shoes and bags.” Click here if TikTok doesn’t load “They are toxic for human consumption, [and] will not prevent a pregnancy. Do not eat them, if you do, go see a doctor,” he went on to say. There have been several viral TikTok ‘hacks’ lately which have prompted experts to warn people against trying them, including taping over your mouth at night and drinking aloe vera juice.

Doctor Mike “surprised” by KSI naming him as potential boxing opponent – Dexerto
Doctor Mike “surprised” by KSI naming him as potential boxing opponent YouTube: Doctor Mike/KSIYouTuber Doctor Mike has revealed his surprise at being named on a poll from KSI about his next potential boxing opponent. With KSI confirming that he’ll fight again in January on a boxing card that will also include Logan Paul, plenty of fans have been looking to see who he might face this time around. There have been rumors about Joe Fournier, a businessman-turned-boxer with a 9-0-1 (No Contest) record. Though, the British YouTuber has also been crowdsourcing ideas as well. Back in mid-September, he put out a poll, asking fans if they’d want to see him fight Tyron Woodley, Dillion Danis, Doctor Mike, or Slim Albaher. Mike ‘Doctor Mike’ Varshavski might not be the most recognizable name to some KSI fans – seeing as he did finish last in the voting – but the YouTuber has made waves in the boxing world. He beat iDubbbz back in May on the Creator Clash card, and he’d be willing to tear it up with KSI too. Doctor Mike shocked KSI named him as potential opponent The YouTuber, who has over 10 million subscribers on the platform and focuses on health content, told Mirror Fighting that he was shocked his name came up on the poll, but he’s glad he’s getting some recognition for his skills. “I was surprised, just because KSI and I have never really had any interaction,” the YouTuber said. “I think his team sees that we’re taking this seriously, they understand the value that we bring with the huge social media following that we have.” Varshavski did note that he might get “more opportunities” if he can put in a “great showing” against Chris Avila on the Jake Paul vs Anderson Silva undercard. Seeing as KSI eventually wants to fight Jake, there’s no doubt that he’ll at least keep an eye on the event and how things go down. Should Mike continue his winning streak, he’ll put himself in the conversation for bigger fights, and it’d certainly be interesting to see him in there with KSI – should it ever happen.

Doctor Mike responds to Creator Clash controversy after “cheap shot” on iDubbbz – Dexerto
Doctor Mike responds to Creator Clash controversy after “cheap shot” on iDubbbz Joseph Correa, FrontProof MediaYouTube star Doctor Mike is hitting back at controversy surrounding his fight against fellow influencer iDubbbz at Creator Clash this past weekend. Creator Clash has made its mark on the influencer boxing world in a huge way. The event, which took place this past Saturday, saw eighteen unconventional influencers duke it out with one another in the boxing ring — all in the name of charity. The showdown was a massive success, with all 10,000 seats in the Yuengling Arena sold out for a full house packed to the brim with excited fans. Although the response to Creator Clash was overwhelmingly positive, the main event of the evening saw some controversy arise online. First, the main fight was initially slated for four rounds lasting three minutes each — but a last-minute error saw iDubbbz and Doctor Mike fight five two-minute rounds, instead. While the Creator Clash Twitter account confirmed that this was merely a mistake, that wasn’t the only issue to garner backlash on social media; critics were also convinced that Doctor Mike had landed a “cheap shot” on iDubbbz during their fight. After touching gloves at the very beginning of their second round, Doctor Mike instantly went in for a headshot on iDubbbz, prompting some to claim bad sportsmanship on the health professional’s part. Ians fight was meant to be 3 minute rounds for 4. There was a mess up. Either way they went hard and I don’t think it would of changed the outcome. Thank you for all the support pic.twitter.com/lNdgUls7jl — Creator Clash (@TheCreatorClash) May 15, 2022 Doctor Mike has since explained the matter in an interview with Philip DeFranco, where he apologized for the ordeal and admitted it was a fault on his part. “They’re completely right to say that,” he began. “I get where they’re coming from. In my corner, they’re constantly telling me, ‘Start fast, start fast.’ In fact, I don’t even know why I went in to touch gloves the second round.” “It was probably because, in preparing for the fight, my trainers would say, ‘Okay, when the fight starts, go to touch gloves and then right away, we want you to get into the action.’ Somehow, with all the adrenaline, even in the second round, I went to touch gloves and start the action real fast. …that was my apologies. I shouldn’t have done that.” (Topic begins at 10:20) Doctor Mike also dismissed any “conspiracy theories” arising due to the sudden change in fight length during their bout, explaining that, although the issue likely gave iDubbbz the upper hand, he had no ill will toward his opponent nor the event, whatsoever.

Doctor Mike set to fight Chris Avila on Jake Paul vs Anderson Silva undercard – Dexerto
Doctor Mike set to fight Chris Avila on Jake Paul vs Anderson Silva undercard YouTube.com/DoctorMikeJake Paul vs. Anderson Silva will be going down on October 29 and we now know that YouTube sensation Doctor Mike will be taking on Chris Avila in the opening match of the pay-per-view. Jake Paul and Anderson ‘The Spider’ Silva’s highly-anticipated bout has added another attention grabbing match to the card in the form of Doctor Mike vs Chris Avila. The social media superstar made his boxing debut at the Creator Clash event earlier in 2022 where he impressed the masses in a unanimous decision win against iDubbz, but now he’s ready to face a true professional fighter in a much different environment. Doctor Mike and Chris Avila to meet on Jake Paul vs. Anderson Silva undercard The Doc, real name Mikhail Varshavski, comes into this match at a massive experience disadvantage. While Avila is only 1-1 as a boxer, with his sole win coming in a Majority Decision victory in 2021, he does have nearly twenty MMA bouts to his name as a professional fighter. As Jake Paul’s Most Valuable Promotions said in their announcement, this matchup puts Varshavski in a very rare class of influencer boxers. “Other than Jake Paul, Dr. Mike is the first “YouTube creator” to get in the ring with a professional fighter in a sanctioned pro fight,” the tweet read. As for Avila, this represents a chance to score another win and solidify his spot as a boxer and not just an MMA pro. The final fight on the undercard is between 18-year-old Ashton Sylve and Braulio Rodriguez in what is sure to be an explosive bout. The two fighters have a total of 24 KO’s in their collective careers, and seeing as this is Sylve’s first chance to represent Paul’s promotion company, it’s likely to be one to remember.

Doctor goes viral on TikTok after listing things she’d “never do” – Dexerto
Doctor goes viral on TikTok after listing things she’d “never do” TikTok: dr.nicole.vangroningenA woman has gone viral after posting a TikTok listing all the things she would “never do” based on her knowledge and experience as a doctor. Life is full of risks and deciding which are worth taking tends to vary between people. A doctor on TikTok has proven that after her video went viral listing things she would “never do” due to the knowledge and experience she gained through her job. Garnering over 1.4 million views and counting, many were split over whether or not to take the doctor’s advice. Nicole Van Groningen, who goes by ‘dr.nicole.vangroningen’ on TikTok, took to the platform to share all the “Things you’ll never catch me doing as a doctor.” Diving straight in, she said, “Waking up early to exercise. Do not let any influencers out here convince you that it’s best to cut your sleep duration short so that you can go to the gym and work out and build a better body.” Next on the list was riding a motorcycle. Nicole said, “There’s so many safety features of cars today, the least of which is literally walls and windows and doors. Why would you give all that up?” Alongside motorcycles, Nicole advised her viewers to make sure they’re also wearing helmets when riding any type of bike; “There are some specific screams from family members that I will never forget.” Proper sun protection also made Nicole’s list, though she admitted it was somewhat for vanity as well as health. Nicole also said she felt both natural and modern medicine could be helpful, but that “being dogmatic about one way can be harmful!” Viewers were torn in the comments of Nicole’s TikTok, with debates breaking out over specific things that made the list. However, many also applauded the doctor for her approach and lack of judgment. Nicole said, “I’d never blame people for their health status. I think people who do are trying to cling to a sense of control… the reality is, s**t happens and even the ‘healthiest’ people get sick.” Be sure to check out all the latest entertainment news on our page here.

Doctor Mike explains his problem with KSI’s boxing opponents ahead of Temperrr fight – Dexerto
Doctor Mike explains his problem with KSI’s boxing opponents ahead of Temperrr fight DexertoWe asked YouTube star, physician, and budding boxer Doctor Mike for his thoughts on KSI’s upcoming bout against FaZe Temperrr and the current state of the influencer-boxing scene. Doctor Mike might be a healer, but he’s prescribing these hands for anyone willing to step into the ring with him… and he doesn’t think KSI wants the smoke. KSI, a British rapper, YouTuber, and white-collar boxer, is taking on fellow influencer FaZe Temperrr on July 14 in the Misfits x DAZN Series 004 event, which is streaming exclusively on the combat sports platform. This matchup comes as a last-minute shakeup to an event that, up until just a few days ago, was supposed to feature mixed martial artist Dillon Danis as KSI’s opponent. Danis suddenly pulled out of the match just a week before fight night, but fans are still excited to see two influencers duke it out in the ring, either way. However, Doctor Mike isn’t too keen on KSI’s latest pick. In fact, he thinks the influencer is aiming for weaker opponents on purpose, and would rather the YouTuber face off against Slim Albaher, instead — the creator who defeated Temperrr on the undercard of KSI’s last fight back in August 2022. Additionally, KSI actually name-dropped Doctor Mike as a possible opponent late last year, but the good doctor isn’t convinced the Brit will be up to the challenge. “I have little faith that a fight between us ever happens, as it seems KSI and his team like to handpick easier opponents,” he said. “I don’t knock him for this though, as he’s wisely protecting his mind, body, and brand. If he was interested in a challenge, given his significant experience, I would’ve liked for him to fight Slim rather than the guy Slim knocked out. I hope his next fight will be against Jake Paul and that no one backs out at the last minute, because that’s getting tiring.” Influencer boxing does experience the occasional lineup shuffle from time to time – be it due to last-minute injuries, scheduling conflicts, or problems with making weight before fight night. In 2022, KSI’s match against American YouTuber Alex Wassabi got switched to his unexpected ‘two fights, one night’ event after Wassabi received a debilitating head injury while sparring and couldn’t compete due to health risks. Jake Paul had a similar experience, as his bout with Tommy Fury was canceled when the British boxer couldn’t make it to the United States due to travel difficulties. He then chose Hasim Rahman Jr. as his opponent — but Rahman couldn’t make weight in time, ultimately resulting in the entire event getting canned, costing Jake “millions” of dollars. Doctor Mike calls influencer boxing a “positive” for combat sports That being said, Doctor Mike thinks that influencer boxing is creating a positive (or at the very least, neutral) effect on the sport itself. Mike notably fought on the main event in 2022’s Creator Clash against iDubbbz — an event that saw huge positive reception from fans. “It’s a slightly positive or net-neutral effect on the sport,” Doctor Mike said of the influencer boxing scene. “Some influencer events have respected the art of boxing, like Creator Clash, and others, like Showstar, left a black eye on influencer boxing (pun intended). I wish the matchmakers took their job more seriously, as they are bound to create a matchup that is going to put someone’s life in jeopardy due to a mismatch.” Doctor Mike gives his take on Jake Paul vs Anderson Silva Another major trend occurring in the influencer boxing realm has seen top creators face off against combat sports GOATS, such as Logan Paul vs Mayweather in 2020 and Jake Paul vs Anderson Silva in 2022. Doctor Mike notably fought on the undercard of Paul vs Silva — and he thinks that these kinds of matchups can make sense, if they’re executed with the right “purpose” in mind. “I’m okay with influencers fighting ‘GOATS,’ but the fights must be made with a purpose,” he mused. “Deji vs. Mayweather never made sense, as the skill gap was ridiculous. At this stage, I would never venture into the ring with Mayweather as I know I stand no chance, making for a snoozefest of a main event (just like Deji’s fight was). “ Doctor Mike: “No one in the influencer space is taking on challenges like this” Doctor Mike has experience to back up his claims. The board-certified physician has been boxing to stay in shape for ten years, and took his first official matches in 2022 against YouTuber iDubbbz and pro boxer Chris Avila. He’s also trained alongside professional fighter Amanda Serrano, on top of his many years in Taekwondo as a youth. “My fight against Chris Avila was by far the most formidable challenge,” he said of his current fighting career. “Not only did I have to come down to an all-time low weight of 182 lbs, but I stepped in the ring with someone who has over 20+ fights of experience, is currently on a 5 or 6-fight win streak (including on Jake Paul’s last event), and is younger than me.” “No one in the influencer space is taking on challenges like this. Even when KSI fights a ‘professional’ like Pineda, it’s someone he knows will be guaranteed to be a joke of an opponent.” Although Mike ultimately lost his bout against Avila, his fight against iDubbbz earlier that year was a huge success, and he’s stated that he’s open to taking more fights in the future as the influencer boxing world continues to roll on. For now, though, he feels that the success of the scene is dependent on the efforts of influencers, pro fighters, and brands to make it the best — and most professional — experience possible. “Right now, the long-term success of the influencer boxing world is up in the air. If we continue to see low-quality events with poor matchups, the appetite for the sport will dwindle, so I am hopeful that more investment will be made from brands and fighters alike. “ Doctor Mike is up for the challenge All in all, Doctor Mike is aware of just how taxing influencer boxing can be — and despite the many influencers set to step into the ring this year, he’s pretty sure that no one is doing it quite like he is (aside from Jake Paul, of course). “In boxing, nothing trumps experience, and I’m not speaking solely about ring experience,” he explained. “The preparation, the injuries, the weight loss, the distractions, the drama all take a toll, and you become much more comfortable each time you’re exposed to the whole fight experience.” Also, both [of my own] fights were of epic magnitude for different reasons. Creator Clash was the main event in front of a sold-out 10,000-person arena. The most recent was a true professional showtime PPV main card bout against someone with significantly more fight experience. Besides maybe Jake Paul, no one has taken on this level of challenge in the influencer fight game.”

Doctor Mike Interview: How Amanda Serrano prepped him for Creator Clash brawl – Dexerto
Doctor Mike Interview: How Amanda Serrano prepped him for Creator Clash brawl YouTube: Doctor MikeDoctor Mike is both a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine and an internet superstar — one who will be facing off against fellow influencer iDubbbz in the upcoming Creator Clash charity boxing event. We got the chance to sit down with Doctor Mike to talk about his forthcoming debut match, his history with combat sports, and his time spent training with boxing greats like Amanda Serrano and Ryan Garcia. Those tuning into Doctor Mike’s YouTube channel for the first time may only recognize him for his reactions to humorous medical memes and thoughts on current health trends… but medicine isn’t the only major player in this influencer’s life. Ahead of his bout against iDubbbz for Creator Clash’s main event, Doctor Mike revealed his storied history with combat sports and his desire to compete on an international level that was, at first, thwarted by his medical career. “I always wanted to go into some aspect of professional or semi-pro sports,” he admitted. “I did Taekwondo growing up, martial arts for about eight to nine years. I was very serious about it. I would go to tournaments. I wanted to pursue the Olympic sort of trajectory of the sport.” “But because I decided to go into this 7-year accelerated medical program, the amount of credits I needed to take to stay in that program was just too overwhelming to be able to compete athletically. I view this as my opportunity now, before I start getting into my mid-late thirties, to do something in the pro athletic space with the sport I fell in love with.” Doctor Mike considers himself truly “blessed” to be able to make his boxing debut in front of “tens of thousands of fans” and hopes to use this newest opportunity as a launching pad for more possible boxing matches in the future. Doctor Mike hopes to fight in more influencer boxing matches In fact, Doctor Mike says he can “definitely” see himself involved in further influencer boxing events, no matter if he wins or loses to iDubbbz in the ring this May. “Mostly going off of what my coach has been telling me — I’ve been with my coach, Thomas Baldwin, for 10-11 years now, ever since I set foot into a boxing gym. He was always saying, ‘Mike, you have something special, you really could do this.’ At the time, I was in med school residency, I never even saw that it could be possible,” he explained. “But with YouTube boxing becoming a legitimate venue to be able to showcase your talents, I said, ‘Well, you know what? Let’s push through and make this a reality.’ If this fight with Ian goes well, not necessarily about a win or a loss, but more so about my quality in the ring, my ability to stay cool in the ring. If that looks good, I’m most definitely gonna continue and seek other fights.” View this post on Instagram Doctor Mike wants to box Tyson Fury When it comes to influencer boxing, the possibilities are endless. (Right now, Jake Paul is throwing around the possibility of touching gloves with the likes of Mike Tyson and Anderson Silva — both pro fighters who are open to the possibility of taking on an internet celebrity.) The time is ripe for creators to take their stand in the ring and call out their favorite athletes. Doctor Mike’s no-holds-barred, dream boxing match would pit him against British boxing star Tyson Fury… but probably not in a sanctioned professional match. “I probably wouldn’t do a pro fight with this person, but I would love to spar with Tyson Fury,” he revealed. “He’s a legend! I’m a huge fan of his. I actually flew out to his final fight against Wilder. That was just pure spectacle, an amazing bout. He’s really talented for his size. He talks about mental health, which I’m a big proponent of. Everything about this guy is just… I wanna be in the ring with him. Even if he just abuses me, that’s a story I need to tell my grandchildren about.” Getting advice from Amanda Serrano Doctor Mike already boasts experience with some of the biggest names in boxing. Just last month, he sparred with unified featherweight world champion Amanda Serrano. He even worked out with the undefeated Ryan Garcia, who suffered a broken right hand at the time of their joint YouTube video last year (although that didn’t stop Garcia from introducing Doctor Mike to his infamous ‘body shot challenge’). Having the expertise of these boxing greats on hand is a huge advantage for Doctor Mike in the build-up to his bout with iDubbbz. He says both Serrano and her coach have been hitting him up with tips for his debut bout, which has ultimately helped “open up” his mind in preparation for his first-ever match. “They gave me a lot of good advice — mostly about the mental component that goes into boxing,” he revealed. “For me, as someone who is new to training as hard as I am now for the sport, I didn’t realize how tedious it is. How difficult it is to push through and get into those zones of when you’re not actually fighting someone, but you need to simulate it as if you were. That’s probably the most difficult part of the sport for me.” “I’ve been talking to Serrano quite often — we saw each other just a few weeks ago at Madison Square Garden for one of the fights. And I’m gonna be sitting ringside for her upcoming fight against Katie Taylor, so that’s gonna be really exciting. But her coach was constantly telling me about things I need to improve movement-wise. All of that coming from people with tremendous experience has really allowed me to open up my mind and be more thoughtful about what I’m doing in the ring. As a rookie it’s really easy to lose your mind, just go nuts and think you’re in a street fight. They’ve sort of helped me center myself and keep my cool.” Influencer boxing – not about making the big bucks For Doctor Mike, influencer boxing isn’t a chance to flaunt his talent and make a quick buck. Creator Clash is finally allowing him a chance to compete in combat sports on a major stage — and it’s also giving him an opportunity to give back in a huge way. Creator Clash is, first and foremost, a charity event, orchestrated with the ultimate intent to raise “as much money as possible” for charities like the American Heart Association and other organizations chosen by the participating content creators. “Before even hooking up with iDubbbz, I wanted to do something for charity in my boxing match,” Doctor Mike said of the event’s charity aspect. “My goal was to always give back my purse to a specific charity that I was working with. When iDubbbz said that this was gonna be a charity event, it got me even more excited.” “A lot of people who go into influencer boxing are really looking for a big payday. They talk about them being big businessmen. That’s not important to me. Obviously, you want to be paid appropriately for your work and your contribution. For me, if I can give back with this whole boxing thing, that makes the process so much more beneficial to me. Even when I work with sponsors, I will tell them, ‘Unless my viewers get something beneficial out of this… without benefit to them, I’m not doing it.’ So this falls in line with everything else we’re doing on the channel, as well.” Some of YouTube’s biggest boxers have managed to score jaw-dropping payouts (as seen in the alleged $65 million generated from Jake Paul’s 2021 bout with Ben Askren). But Doctor Mike isn’t it for the cash. He’s looking forward to putting his abilities to the test and helping others, along the way — something that’s leaving him “very excited for what the future holds.” Creator Clash is scheduled for Saturday, May 14 at the Yuengling Center in Tampa, Florida — but fans can buy tickets to watch digitally via the official Creator Clash website.

Doctor explains dangers of TikTok’s melatonin gummy misuse – Dexerto
Doctor explains dangers of TikTok’s melatonin gummy misuse TikTok: maddie, jonjustinoGeneral surgeon and YouTuber Dr. Karan is issuing a warning after some TikTokers have seemingly abused the dosing instructions for melatonin gummy supplements. TikTok is home to a slew of viral fads and trends — but some of these crazes can be far more dangerous than others. Over the past few years, several questionable challenges have cropped up on the app. Trends like ‘Nyquil Chicken’ sparked international concern from healthcare professionals, who urged users not to douse their chicken breasts in Nyquil with the aim of making ‘sleepy chicken.’ Now, another trend has emerged on the app… One that’s causing an NHS surgeon to speak out online. Doctor warns against melatonin trends on TikTok Melatonin seems to be a popular topic on TikTok. The hashtag alone boasts over 1 billion views on the app, while other phrases like “Melatonin Challenge” have garnered over 150,000 curious eyes. Many users have recorded their experiences with melatonin gummies, with some taking things a bit too far — such as one user who claimed they would use ten 10 mg gummies and see what happens. Dr. Karan, a social media-famous doctor and general surgeon, spoke out about the misuse of melatonin in a YouTube Shorts clip and why melatonin might not be the cure-all sleep aid that everyone thinks it is. “This might be the single most important thing you need to hear about melatonin,” he began. “The more you’re awake and active, the more a chemical called adenosine builds up in your body, making you feel tired. This is often referred to as sleep pressure, or [sleep] drive. When you sleep, the adenosine levels decrease, making you feel alert and awake the next day.” “Melatonin supplements have the potential to artificially reset the amount of adenosine in your body, thereby exaggerating insomnia issues. This is because the external melatonin can disrupt the delicate balance between adenosine and melatonin needed to regulate sleep.” So, what’s Dr. Karan’s advice for getting a good night’s sleep? ” Keep your room cool, get darkness in the evening, and get a sleep schedule.” While Dr. Karan claimed melatonin supplements might help re-regulate the timing of one’s sleeping patterns, it could also do more harm than good — and since melatonin supplements aren’t regulated in many countries, you “might not get what you’re paying for.” This is just the latest TikTok trend to get attention from the medical community after health experts warned against using beef tallow as a part of one’s skincare regime.

Doctor gets flamed after posting video of live surgery in Twitter ‘console war’ debate – Dexerto
Doctor gets flamed after posting video of live surgery in Twitter ‘console war’ debate A surgeon is going viral for posting a video of himself in the middle of a procedure during a heated console wars debate on Twitter, leading to his hospital getting review bombed. Gamers go to great lengths to defend their honor, including digging into their fellow debater’s history. It’s common to see two Call of Duty or Fortnite players getting into it online and posting each other’s stats in the replies. However, it’s not every day that you see someone claiming to be a doctor vehemently defending their console of choice. That was the case for Twitter user ‘Shreeveera’ who, until recently, had “doctor by profession” in his bio. While arguing with Xbox fans over which console is superior, many of his online combatants questioned whether or not he was a real doctor. To prove his legitimacy, Shreeveera shared a video of himself in medical garb inside of an operating room. Hospital Review bombed for video The video showed Shreeveera, his unconscious patient, and a close-up look at the patient’s medical information. His post was meant to prove he was a doctor and own the “Xbots” – but instead, it incited a slew of backlash. We won’t be sharing the video to help protect the identity of the patient. Despite claiming the patient gave him consent to share the video, Twitter users were livid. Many users blasted the video as “unethical” and others argued it was “grounds for a lawsuit and termination.” Shreeveera eventually took the video down and changed his Twitter bio. However, users had already found the hospital where Shreeveera practices, resulting in numerous users leaving 1-star reviews calling out the doctor’s actions. Shreeveera posts apology video After deleting the clip, Shreeveera uploaded an apology video to YouTube. He addressed his actions and stated that his main intentions were “childish and foolish” and claims he will be a better man for it. He also states that the video was blown out of proportion, despite accepting his actions were a mistake. “We should never cross the line where someone’s hobby transcends into someone’s personal life. Trying to dox people, trying to target people and make their lives miserable,” stated Shreeveera. Shreeveera claims participating in console wars – or “console passion” as he calls them – is his hobby, while saving lives is his profession. Regardless of his efforts to make amends, Twitter users are still not letting his actions slide. https://twitter.com/Shreeveera/status/1500776486546329600 For more entertainment content, check out why Logan Paul thinks Floyd Mayweather has no money, and stay tuned for more news and guides.

Doaenel denied Twitch Partner for 14th time following indefinite ban appeal – Dexerto
Doaenel denied Twitch Partner for 14th time following indefinite ban appeal Twitch streamer Doaenel hasn’t received any word on his appeal following his indefinite ban from the platform but instead was notified he was denied partner for the 14th time. On February 6, League of Legends streamer known as “Doaenel” was indefinitely banned from Twitch for having an “inappropriate username.” The popular streamer who averaged 1k-2k viewers per stream hit out at the platform on Twitter, explaining that he’s used the name “Doaenel” since he was 16 years old. Doaenel appealed his indefinite ban but has still not heard back. Instead, he was notified that his Partner application was declined for the 14th time. In a tweet on February 11, Doaenel noted how he was excited to see an email from Twitch in his inbox but was quickly let down by it, as it was just a notification saying he was denied for Partnership. “Opened my email, and got super excited to see an email from Twitch,” said the streamer. “It wasn’t a response to my ban appeal though, it turns out it was just them denying my 14th partner application. How much more can one man take?” Doaenel has since shared the origin of his online alias, claiming it’s a combination of letters from his first, middle, and last name that makes up his “real Angel name.” Opened my email, and got super excited to see an email from Twitch. Becoming a Partnered streamer on the platform gives perks such as monetization, channel customization, and extended VOD storage.

Dr Disrespect caught red-handed reinstalling PUBG after ‘forgetting’ to end stream – Dexerto
Dr Disrespect caught red-handed reinstalling PUBG after ‘forgetting’ to end stream Dr. Disrespect has a love/hate relationship with Player Unknown’s Battlegrounds and after uninstalling the game during a stream on Monday, August 19, he got caught with his hand in the cookie jar reinstalling the game after his sign off. Doc has had a big week, after showing up to the 2019 CWL Championships in a rented Lamborghini on August 16, he attempted to channel the dark forces of the underworld to improve his PUBG performance. Unfortunately, it seems like Beelzebub put Doc on hold because his luck didn’t get any better, which led to the streamer uninstalling PUBG yet again during the stream, only to get ‘caught’ reinstalling it after signing off for the day. What’s Doc’s problem with PUBG? After missing what appeared to be a dead on headshot on an enemy player in a window, Doc said he liked the concept of PUBG, but the current state of the game was too much to handle. “The game design is great, the pacing is great, the way the weapons feel, leading shots, arcing bullets full of velocity, the idea of the armor system – I think it’s all fantastic,” Doc told viewers. “But I think there is a level of deeper concern with how this game is programmed, with this shit engine.” “Do me a favor Glen (Schofield), get that team of yours, and get rid of these fucking problems,” The streamer said. “It’s making me sick.” Schofield, a co-founder of Sledgehammer Games, joined the PUBG Corporation earlier in 2019 to head up a new triple-A development studio called Striking Distance based in Los Angeles that will develop “an original narrative in the PUBG universe.” But it seems like Doc’s uninstalling of PUBG was only temporary, as he was “caught” with his stream up after his outro reinstalling the game. Doc’s on-stream production is usually spot on, so the chances of this being an actual slip up and not a gag are pretty slim, but that doesn’t make it any less entertaining. What else is Doc up to? Apart from his ongoing war with PUBG, Doc also released his latest chart-topping single dedicated to all his stream snipers. “Give ‘Em The Love” (written by J+1 AKA Jason Folks) doesn’t actually say anything about stream snipers in the song, but Dr Disrespect did say it was dedicated to those fans who just can’t get enough. Even though Doc may have more problems with PUBG than you can shake a can of moustache wax at, it’s still a major part of his channel and doesn’t seem to be going away, permanently anyway.

Do TikTok’s viral cooking videos work? Brennen Taylor tests them out – Dexerto
Do TikTok’s viral cooking videos work? Brennen Taylor tests them out Ever fancied filling your omelet with Cheetos? Or eating Starburst-covered popcorn? These are some of the cooking hacks that have gone viral on TikTok, and now YouTuber Brennen Taylor has tried them out. Cooking videos have been popular on TikTok, with many of the more outlandish recipes going viral. Surprisingly, according to Brennen, some of them are actually not awful, even if they sound like a dental nightmare. So, that Starburst-covered popcorn. Considering a large bag of sweet popcorn from the cinema contains at least 35g of sugar, these sound sickly. Sure enough, the Youtuber said that they were almost too sticky to enjoy, almost gluing his teeth together when he chewed them. Cheeto-stuffed omelet sounds even stranger, but surprisingly, the 25-year-old said that it wasn’t all that bad. In fact, he gave it a passing grade, even if the cheesy snack goes a bit soggy when heated. Giant, homemade Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups sound like a safer bet though, and while he said that they were chewier and far bigger than the shop-bought versions, they were tasty. The same could be said for Chocolate chips and cinnamon rolls, in which cookie dough and cinnamon roll dough are baked together. You’ve got to admit – that sounds like a winner anyway. The other thing that the California native didn’t like, somewhat surprisingly, was McDonald’s sweet tea and creamer, It’s supposed to make tea taste even more delicious, but it failed the Taylor test. “It’s milky kind-of, but I don’t know if I like it,” he said, wincing after his first sip. “I kind of enjoy sweet tea on its own, so this really didn’t do much for me.”

djWHEAT slams Kick streaming platform as a “sham” – Dexerto
djWHEAT slams Kick streaming platform as a “sham” djWHEATFormer Director of Creator Development at Twitch Marcus “djWHEAT” Graham roasted the new streaming platform from streamer Trainwreck, called Kick. djWHEAT used to be one of the biggest voices inside Twitch, serving as a Director of Creator Development for 11 years. Since stepping away from the company in January 2022, Graham still comments on various happenings in the streaming world including even bashing his previous employer in the process. Now, Wheat is back in the news, this time for blasting the brand-new streaming site Kick. djWHEAT roasts Kick as a “sham” of a streaming platform On December 6, it was revealed that Kick, promoted by streamer Trainwreck, is connected to Stake.com despite not publicly making the connection clear. Wheat then chimed in on the controversy by hitting out at the platform. “I’ve seen a lot of sh*t in my 23 years of internet broadcasting. I can say confidently that kick.com is a sham. I can’t sit idly by and watch nonsense be thrown out into the world as a beacon of hope for creators.” He continued, “Train’s Twitlonger has so many conflicting statements and elements that anyone with platform experience in this space would look at and go, ‘that makes no f*cking sense.’ I’m all for chasing your dreams, but I’m not ok with letting creators be the collateral damage.” Graham proposed a few questions about the site that “don’t add up” including, “Why would a crypto gambling site fund/back/launch their own live-streaming service?” and “How does that actually equate to “creator first?” Wheat doesn’t believe Kick has any right to be a popular streaming platform, and called the lack of transparency about the website’s relationship to Stake “troubling.”

djWHEAT warns Twitch streamers about potential DMCA bans for watching TV shows – Dexerto
djWHEAT warns Twitch streamers about potential DMCA bans for watching TV shows Pexels/TwitchTwitch streamers have been warned by djWHEAT about DMCA bans after more and more creators have been streaming shows and movies on the platform. The issues between creators and record labels have been ongoing since Twitch started handing out bans to streamers that were violating the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). After an influx of DMCA strikes, Twitch released tools that now help streamers identify copyrighted content. Eventually, the platform reached agreements with some labels to protect creators from strikes altogether. However, while some streamers have refrained from listening to copyrighted music, many have begun broadcasting their reactions to TV shows and movies. A tweet from popular Twitch creator CohhCarnage on December 26 put a spotlight on the issue of streamers reacting to TV shows and movies. The creator noted that previously it’d never been fine to rebroadcast TV and movies: “Noticing a lot of streamers are watching shows and reacting. No shade, more power to them! But I mean, is this OK to do?” Carnage continued in another tweet: “Also for all the people thinking I’m feigning ignorance here, that ain’t the case. Justin.TV got hammered for this when it changed to Twitch. Now people do it all the time.” Also for all the people thinking I’m feigning ignorance here, that ain’t the case.https://t.co/fKxMVL2yiy got hammered for this when it changed to Twitch. Now people do it all the time. I figured something had to have changed I just didn’t know about to see if as much as we do. — Cohh Carnage (@CohhCarnage) December 27, 2021 The series of tweets from Carnage got a lot of attention from the Twitch community, and even Marcus ‘djWHEAT’ Graham — Head of Twitch Community Productions — responded. He clarified that it’s not okay, and it’s never been okay, to stream shows and movies on the site. “It’s absolutely not okay. Just like it has never been ok to stream music. DJ Akademiks Twitch stream ends in chaos as guest allegedly pulls a gun out – Dexerto
DJ Akademiks Twitch stream ends in chaos as guest allegedly pulls a gun out YouTube/King AkademiksPopular entertainer DJ Akademiks had his appearance on the Fresh and Fit podcast end abruptly after things got heated between him and a guest. The December 8 stream, which was also broadcast on Akademiks’s Twitch channel, devolved into chaos when a woman seemed to reach into her bag to pull out a gun. An exchange of words between Akademiks and one of the women on the show escalated quickly, with the woman shouting at everyone before being escorted out. As she was leaving, the girl seemed to reach into her bag and many on the show were in agreement she could be packing heat. To end the show, everyone was instructed to “move to the left” as a safety measure in the event shots were fired. DJ Akademiks explains what happened Once the dust had settled, Akademiks addressed the situation in an Instagram Live stream, explaining he didn’t even really know who the woman was. “It could have went another way,” he said, noting how things could have been disastrous. “She grabbed some sh*t buy my man was ready.” He also praised one of the hosts, Myron Gaines, for telling everyone to move to the left, who further explained that he felt that if “she was mad she might send shots through the door.” “I’m such an instigator,” Akademiks added. “I definitely told her to draw. I’m like ‘pull it, cause they’re about to smoke your ass.’” Luckily, no one was hurt, but this was definitely one of the wildest endings to a podcast we’ve seen in a long time.

dj WHEAT Gets Hit on By Random Woman During TI Stream Hosted at a Sports Bar – Dexerto
dj WHEAT Gets Hit on By Random Woman During TI Stream Hosted at a Sports Bar Director of Twitch Studios, djWHEAT, was approached by a woman during The International’s Late Game stream. The Late Game, so-named for Dota’s jargon concerning later stages of each fight, is streamed at the end of each day at the world’s largest esport event, The International. Taking place in Vancouver, British Columbia, this particular Late Game was hosted by Twitch director djWHEAT and Dota2 content creator PyrionFlax. The two joined Dota’s players and fanbase at the Pint, a sports bar just a few steps away from the Rogers arena. However, there was more than the game to be discussed in this particular broadcast: djWHEAT was also at the center of a woman’s’ affections, who made her intentions known in the middle of the stream. During a later portion of the stream, djWHEAT looked off-camera to a woman about to enter the bar. As though she were unsure of stepping inside, he encouraged her to join the group, but was soon confronted with a different situation entirely. “Wait – did she give you the ‘phone number’ sign?” PyrionFax mimicked the action, placing his hand next to his ear in the shape of a cell phone. djWHEAT appeared to immediately recoil, looking down at his cue cards and saying, “I don’t know.” The woman in question approached the two, and djWHEAT asked her if she was a Dota2 fan. She appeared to have no knowledge of the game, giving a humorous response. “I’ve got attitude, but I don’t know about Dota2.” djWHEAT explained The International and invited her to drink with the group. She accepted, but asked if the drinks would be on him. djWHEAT accepted and the woman was shooed off the stream to a smattering of applause. The Late Game was made even more interesting than before, and The International hasn’t even concluded yet.

DJs turn the tables on confused TikToker, hilariously remixing her video – Dexerto
DJs turn the tables on confused TikToker, hilariously remixing her video TikTok: loudluxuryThe DJs of TikTok have come out to demonstrate their skills and show one confused TikToker what exactly their job entails. TikToker Madeline, who goes by ‘madelineargy’ on the platform, posted a rant in which she questioned what exactly DJs do while on stage. “I don’t think they’re remixing the song on the spot. I think they make [their music] ahead of time,” Madeline said. “So what dials are they pressing? What are the buttons doing?” Now the DJs of TikTok are responding, remixing Madeline’s video to show her exactly what they’re up to when they’re on stage and behind the decks. One video posted to TikTok shows a remix of Madeline’s video being performed at a club with a tightly packed crowd dancing to the music. Madeline’s TikTok can also be seen playing on the stage screen, hilariously edited to match the beat. Another DJ, ‘emravemusic’, shared his own remix to TikTok, getting over 500,000 views. And, of course, he captioned the video, “What DJs actually do…” “Girl became MEME of DJ’s,” one person commented. However, it seems not everyone has been convinced by the display, with one TikTok user writing, “So you just hit play and move the volume up and down ok.” Madeline also posted a follow-up, revealing that lots of DJs had reached out to her since she posted the video in hopes of helping her understand the work involved. “So I guess my next question is what do footballers actually do?” Madeline said, seemingly hoping for a new wave of DMs from some hunky footy players. Dizzy reveals why he’s taking another break from Twitch streaming – Dexerto
Dizzy reveals why he’s taking another break from Twitch streaming Twitch: Apex LegendsCoby ‘dizzy’ Meadows, popular Twitch streamer across multiple FPS titles, including Apex Legends and Valorant, made his return after a long hiatus in 2021. Now, though, he’s taking another break from streaming. Earlier this year, towards the end of January, dizzy made his grand return to Twitch after 6 months away. He cited his reasons for disappearing from social media as feeling “burnt out” and falling into a “depressed state” after the passing of Byron ‘reckful’ Bernstein. After a couple of months back on the scene, mainly streaming Valorant, he has stopped streaming once again. Now the young star has revealed the reason behind his break. With his last stream on March 20, dizzy took to Twitter several days later to explain why he’s been absent from the platform. “Sorry for no streams the past 2 days,” he said. “Anxiety is just so overwhelming.” He has not streamed since this Tweet either. He did not follow up with any expectation of when he believes he’ll load up the stream again, so there’s no telling how long his break will be this time around. sorry for no streams the past 2 days. anxiety is just so overwhelming — dizzy (@dizzy) March 23, 2021 If it’s anything like last time, it may be months before we see dizzy on our screens again, but we hope it’s a much shorter break this time. While he offers top quality gameplay and an entertaining stream, it’s not worth letting his mental health suffer for. Dizzy’s fanbase have proven themselves as a good one, though, showing heaps of support to their favorite streamer and advising him not to rush back and take the time he needs. Hopefully, before long, the former NRG player can overcome his troubles with anxiety and get back to doing what he does best: dominating the battlefield and entertaining thousands.

Dizzy and Ace save shroud with genius move in Apex Legends after he goes AFK – Dexerto
Dizzy and Ace save shroud with genius move in Apex Legends after he goes AFK Shroud Wraith dizzy ace apex legendsNRG duo Coby ‘Apex Legends ranked play, after he had to go AFK from the match. Season 2 of Apex Legends introduced a brand new ranked play mode for players to climb to the top of the ranks and put their skills to the test in-game. Two of the current NRG professional Apex Legends players, dizzy and Ace went to extremes to keep their elo intact by pulling off a genius move, keeping an AFK shroud alive during one of such ranked match. Shroud had to leave his setup mid-game to get his food delivery, and as the ring was quickly closing on him, he was at risk of dying to the tick damage that it deals. However, the NRG duo quickly came up with the idea to firstly take advantage of Ace’s Ultimate ability on Wraith to lead him away from the Ring, and then meleeing shroud’s character into the Dimensional Rift, “Alright I’ll punch him in” said dizzy, before helping shroud to safety. Despite their best intentions, the portal didn’t quite get shroud into the safe zone and the pair had to alternate between punching his character the rest of the way, saying “Alternate, alternate! We’ve got to hide him.” The Twitch star was impressed by the pair’s play when he returned to find himself nestled safely behind a rock, “Alright, well played,” He said, laughing to himself about how seriously the pair took it as he could likely hear them the entire time with his wireless headset. Shroud had previously claimed that dizzy could be the next big star on Twitch and with entertaining highlights like this, it’s quite easy to see some of the potential the young professional Apex Legends player has. Wraith’s rift abilities are useful for more than just quick escapes too, as they can also be used to bait in opponents to traps, as one squad combined Wraith’s and Wattson’s kit to create an overpowered trap. Despite the genius play which was made to keep shroud alive from the Ring, the powerhouse squad died almost immediately after he returned, unfortunately letting all of their hard efforts go to waste.

Dixie D’Amelio’s new song ‘Psycho’ was inspired by a jaw-dropping cheating story – Dexerto
Dixie D’Amelio’s new song ‘Psycho’ was inspired by a jaw-dropping cheating story YouTube: The Zach Sang ShowTikTok star Dixie D’Amelio’s new song ‘Psycho’ takes us through the mental journey of a woman being cheated on… but it turns out the hyperbolic track was inspired by very real events. Dixie D’Amelio has slowly been transitioning from a TikTok star to a full-fledged music artist. Scoring features with the likes of Wiz Khalifa and Lil Mosey, Dixie released yet another banger alongside Rubi Rose just a few days ago. Her new track ‘Psycho’ details the lengths a scorned partner goes to in order to figure out if her man is cheating on her or not, effectively turning her into… well, the title of the song gets it across. While just about anyone can relate to feeling like they’re overly paranoid when a partner exhibits distant behavior or makes late-night trips to see “friends,” Dixie revealed that the inspiration behind the song wasn’t taken from her own experiences with a cheating boyfriend. Instead, the story behind ‘Psycho’ is a very real one taken from the heart wrenching ordeal of a friend of hers. “I kind of wrote it about other people’s relationships and what I have seen,” she said during an episode of the Zach Sang show, before delving into the jaw-dropping account of her friend’s cheating partner. “I have a friend who was dating this guy,” she began. “And the guy was texting girls off the girl’s phone. So, [texting them] off his girlfriend’s phone and deleting the messages. But like, ‘Hey, I wanna hang out. All three of us should hang out.’ All that stuff.” View this post on Instagram “She found out, because she went on her laptop, and it came up through the iCloud messages,” she continued. “That was kind of the main inspiration behind [Psycho].” “That’s the whole point of the song. Someone will literally make you have to check your text messages checking what they’ve done, but you’re not doing anything, it’s the other person!” (Topic begins at 38 minutes) While the meaning behind many songs can be pretty ambiguous, it’s safe to say no one expected Dixie’s new song to be taken from a friend’s disastrous relationship — but hey, at least her friend’s ex-boyfriend got caught in the act and didn’t get away with his cheating ways for long.

Dixie D’Amelio’s chef speaks out after “disrespectful” snail drama – Dexerto
Dixie D’Amelio’s chef speaks out after “disrespectful” snail drama YouTube: The Hollywood Fix / The D’Amelio FamilyThe D’Amelio family chef has spoken out after Dixie stirred up backlash online for turning down a snail on her plate, leading hordes of critics to call her out for purportedly “disrespectful” behavior. The D’Amelio sisters have found themselves at the center of internet controversy due to the latest episode of “Dinner with the D’Amelio’s,” a YouTube series where the family sits down for dinner with a special guest. The November 16 episode of the YouTube show saw Charli D’Amelio joke about being disappointed in not reaching 100 million followers in a year’s time, which sparked outrage among fans who felt she was being “entitled.” However, the spotlight has since shifted to Dixie, who flipped out and gagged after noticing Chef Aaron May had placed a snail on her plate. While it makes sense that not everyone would be jazzed about eating a slimy animal, the internet is not holding back in their criticism of the TikTok star, taking offense at her behavior toward a meal that had been carefully prepared for her. Although Chef May didn’t speak about the drama initially, paparazzi caught up with the culinary pro on November 18, allowing him to explain his side of the situation. The chef clarified that it had been production’s idea to sneak the snails onto Dixie and Charli’s plates, which resulted in their over-the-top reactions — but he’s not taking it personally. (Topic begins at 6:15) “You know, somebody on production thought it would be funny to feed Dixie and Charli snails,” he explained. “They didn’t take it the best. I love Dixie and Charli. I’ve worked with them before, I’m gonna work with them again. I think it’s a little blown out of proportion.” “I would call it ‘fake news,’” he said of the drama that unfolded after the episode went live. “Those girls are the greatest. I love them. It was all fun and games.” (Topic begins at 0:21) Dixie herself has issued an apology to Chef May and her fans over the matter, similarly clarifying that the entire ordeal was all in good fun and that she has no hard feelings toward her family chef over the snail incident. View this post on Instagram It seems that fans of the girls are now decrying the social media backlash that resulted from the video — which has since caused Charli D’Amelio to lose over 500,000 followers on TikTok.

Dixie D’Amelio’s mom slams Bryce Hall’s “disrespectful” stripper prank on Noah Beck – Dexerto
Dixie D’Amelio’s mom slams Bryce Hall’s “disrespectful” stripper prank on Noah Beck Instagram: brycehall / heididamelioDixie D’Amelio’s mom, Heidi, has slammed TikToker Bryce Hall for a stripper prank he pulled on Dixie and her boyfriend Noah Beck, calling it “disrespectful” and “hurtful.” [jwplayer pNjHVqy4] TikToker Bryce Hall is gaining a bit of a reputation for his chaotic pranks, which often see his close friends being put in bizarre or awkward situations as a result of his crazy ideas – though they’re not always successful. On February 13 he tried to trick the internet into thinking he was cheating on partner Addison Rae with Loren Gray, but thanks to a visible microphone he didn’t end up fooling anyone. Bryce then decided for his next video, he would pull a double prank on friend Noah Beck and his girlfriend Dixie D’Amelio. He blindfolded Noah and hired strippers to dance around him, showing Dixie the scene via FaceTime. Topic starts at 3:12 Naturally, Dixie almost immediately hung up, and Noah looked shocked after his blindfold was removed. Dixie was not impressed by the prank, and neither were many viewers, who expressed that the prank ‘wasn’t funny’ and that the couple looked uncomfortable. Read More: MrBeast prank calls Dream – Now in an interview with photographer Kevin Wong, Dixie’s mom Heidi revealed that she was not happy with Bryce’s prank at all. “I saw it, and I thought it was trash,” she explained. “That’s a mom’s opinion, don’t mess with my kids. It was hurtful and I didn’t like it. People can say I’m soft or whatever, I don’t care. Sorry, that’s how I feel.” Topic starts at 1:38 Heidi continued by saying: “I thought it was disrespectful. If that happened to me I wouldn’t like it. It happened to my daughter, she wasn’t happy about it at all. Bryce does what he does, you know, and then you keep moving, whatever.” Dixie’s dad, Marc, revealed that he didn’t actually see the prank so he couldn’t comment on it, and when Dixie herself was asked what she thought about the video she explained: “I don’t really have an opinion on it. It was okay. Not his best prank.” Many people praised Heidi for calling out the divisive prank, but whether Bryce will try this kind of thing again remains to be seen.

Dixie D’Amelio & Trevor Zegras allegedly split amid cheating rumors YouTube: HuluTikTok star Dixie D’Amelio has purportedly parted ways with hockey player Trevor Zegras as rumors claim that the athlete cheated on his internet-famous girlfriend. Dixie D’Amelio is one of TikTok’s most-followed creators and the big sister of online sensation Charli D’Amelio. Over the years, Dixie has branched out from being a social media celebrity to make a name for herself in the music biz (on top of her other ventures in fashion, makeup, and starring in her family’s very own reality TV show on Hulu). Up until last year, Dixie was tied to fellow internet star Noah Beck. The two dated exclusively for around two years before ultimately breaking things off in late 2022. In July 2023, Dixie was connected with pro hockey player Trevor Zegras after sources told celebrity gossip channel ‘deuxmoi’ that they’d spotted the two together at several events. The two were photographed together in August 2023, and eagle-eyed fans were quick to notice that the athlete was also mutuals on Insta with Charli and Kate, Dixie’s best friend. Dixie D’Amelio and Trevor Zegras allegedly break up amid cheating accusations However, it doesn’t look like this romance lasted very long. In early December 2023, another source told Deuxmoi that Dixie and Trevor have seemingly broken up… and the reason why has fans shocked. According to the source, Zegras supposedly cheated on the eldest D’Amelio sister. At the time of writing, Dixie isn’t following him on Instagram — but he’s still following her. Of course, it’s always best to take these rumors with a grain of salt, and there’s no telling exactly what went down between this couple until one of them speaks out. For now, both are remaining mum on the subject. Until then, keep it locked to Dexerto for more influencer news and entertainment.

Dixie D’Amelio under fire for “tone-deaf” Vogue interview – Dexerto
Dixie D’Amelio under fire for “tone-deaf” Vogue interview Instagram: dixiedamelioTikTok star Dixie D’Amelio is under fire after a clip from an interview she did with vogue went viral on the app, some claiming that she had a “rich girl attitude” and commenting on her privilege. Dixie D’Amelio has over 48 million followers on TikTok where she posts a variety of content, often alongside her sister Charli D’Amelio who has over 107 million followers. While the siblings clearly have many adoring fans, their huge platform means that they are often scrutinized by others on social media, and people are quick to criticize if they feel the girls are acting ungrateful in any way. In November 2020, the internet became outraged over a ‘Dinner with the D’Amelios’ episode that saw Dixie spit out a chef-prepared snail, leading to her having to explain that the chef told her to eat it because he knew it would get a good reaction. While that particular drama has mostly died down, there are some people who have not forgotten, and maintain their position that the D’Amelio sisters are ‘entitled.’ On January 28, Vogue released a video called “24 Hours With Dixie D’Amelio” in which they filmed her talking about and doing activities from her daily life. One TikTok user filmed a clip from it and posted it to TikTok, with the caption, “I’m sorry, but I lost some brain cells,” and it didn’t take long for it to go viral. Dixie D’Amelio unimpressed after Bryce Hall pranks Noah Beck with strippers – Dexerto
Dixie D’Amelio unimpressed after Bryce Hall pranks Noah Beck with strippers YouTube: Bryce HallTikToker and YouTuber Bryce Hall is known for pushing the boundaries of how far his pranks can go. In his latest blog he targeted Noah Beck, and Dixie D’Amelio wasn’t having it. Bryce isn’t afraid to test the relationships of his fellow TikTok stars. After most recently tricking the internet into thinking he was cheating on Addison Rae with none other than Loren Gray, this time around he decided to test Noah and Dixie’s love. Since they revealed to the world that they were dating back in October 2020, the pair have faced numerous tests including heavy criticism from their viewers about how they treat each other, and challenges including a lie-detector test on Dixie’s YouTube talk show. In his latest vlog, Bryce blindfolded Noah and made him listen to loud music, and safe to say he was terrified about what Bryce had in store saying “I’m having a panic attack this f***ing sucks. If I feel something furry I’m kicking it.” All the while he was totally unaware that he was surrounded by strippers dancing around him. Although he expressed some doubt about the prank at first saying “I don’t want to be the cause of their breakup,” Bryce then FaceTimed Noah’s girlfriend Dixie to film her reaction. Dixie picked up, saw what was happening, and promptly hung up the phone. Read More: Maisie Williams joins TikTok – But Bryce, clearly feeling bad, later confirmed to Dixie that Noah wasn’t at fault, telling Dixie, “I just didn’t want you to be mad at Noah, this was all me,” and Noah added “Check the footage, I didn’t even look I swear to god,” although Dixie didn’t sound fully convinced by their apology. However, considering just how loved up Noah and Dixie are, it would be a challenge to break them apart, especially now Dixie is used to Bryce playing pranks on every TikTok star in Los Angeles.

Dixie D’Amelio explains how TikTok ‘shipping comments’ get in her head YouTube: Dixie D’AmelioIn a new episode of The Early Late Night Show, TikTok star Dixie D’Amelio gave her thoughts on ‘ship comments’ about influencers, revealing that even ones about boyfriend Noah Beck ‘get in her head.’ Since 2019, social media app TikTok has been on a rapid uphill climb when it comes to its global popularity, and along with this rise there have been countless influencers who have made names for themselves from the platform. With a huge fan base behind these big names, there is naturally a lot of interest among them surrounding these creators’ love lives—but fans’ predictions aren’t always correct. Dixie D’Amelio is one of the app’s most popular stars with over 50 million followers to her name, and on a new episode of her YouTube talk show with guests the Mian Twins, the influencer explained what ‘ship’ comments are like from the creators’ perspective. Speaking about her own experience of being ‘shipped’ with someone she knows, Dixie said: “It was weird because it was kind of one-sided, and it didn’t really make sense. It was just for the internet. “It’s kind of weird because you see it on the internet and then you see the comments and you’re like, ‘wait, is this real?’ That’s what’s confusing,” the star continued. Topic starts at 12:00 “Even Noah, like if I see he posted a video with someone, and they’re like ‘ship, ship,’ I’m like, ‘oh my God, are they in love with each other?’ It gets in your head. So that’s why I get, if you’re reading that all the time, and seeing edits, and like, ‘oh my God look at the way they looked at each other here.’” Dixie and Noah have been dating since the latter half of 2020, and they certainly seem to be a fan-favorite couple among many of their followers, with people loving their dynamic. However, the pair have also had to deny claims that their relationship is ‘fake’ on multiple occasions.

Dixie D’Amelio hacked: TikTok star’s account deleted after suspected hack – Dexerto
Dixie D’Amelio hacked: TikTok star’s account deleted after suspected hack Instagram: Dixie D’AmelioDixie D’Amelio’s TikTok account has been deleted, following a series of strange posts on the internet superstar’s social media profile that suggests her 46.2 million follower page was hacked on December 13. When attempting to access Dixie’s account, users are now greeted with an error message that reads “user doesn’t exist.” The 19-year-old TikTok superstar boasted just over 46 million followers before the ‘hack,’ and 1.6 billion likes. The suspected hacker seems to have posted several TikTok clips on D’Amelio’s page before disabling the profile. The account’s bio was also updated to read “follow @koiiddd”. The first clip shows a mouse ‘benching’ a trap with the caption “preparing to hack Dixie.” The second mentions The Chuckling Squad, an online hacker group that famously gained access to Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey’s account in late 2019. Several of the deleted clips also refer to an unknown user, “Joe,” as well as a private Instagram account with the handle “lucifer” that has more than 11k followers. While Dixie has yet to officially comment on the suspected hack, or her profile’s deletion, she did respond to TikTokRoom — who originally shared the news — on Instagram with a tongue in cheek joke about the developing situation. “I guess dixie123 was a bad password,” the TikTok sensation wrote. View this post on Instagram The TikTok hackers don’t seem to have just stopped at Dixie’s account either. Soon after the 19-year-old’s profile was disabled, her father Marc D’Amelio suffered a similar fate. Marc’s profile, which boasts a following of 8.8 million fans, had similar clips posted on the timeline. These posts, Dexerto has confirmed, also refer to the “lucifer” Instagram account, and multiple have the hastag “#F*ckTheDamelios.” The hackers also threatened to “get Charli’s profile next,” but as of publishing her TikTok account — which has 102.9m followers — is still online. Will Dixie get her TikTok account back? TikTok was quick to react to this and have already reinstated D’Amelio’s account. In a statement to Insider, a spokesperson said, “After the D’Amelios contacted us, we immediately locked their accounts to prevent any misuse, and we’re working with them to better protect their accounts in the future.” Dixie’s father, Marc, is also having his TikTok account security restored. A source tells me that TikTok is in the process of restoring @dixiedamelio’s account which had tens of millions of followers. They’re also restoring her father’s account which had millions of followers. https://t.co/ApIVxvrYMA — Yashar Ali 🐘 (@yashar) December 14, 2020 Charli D’amelio account lock Dixie’s sister also had her account locked, too. In a video shared by tiktoktoom on Instagram, Charli spoke to her followers, detailing that she had been locked out of her account to prevent anything else from happening to her family’s TikTok accounts. View this post on Instagram It’s still unclear as to whether or not the TikTok star has access to her account, but as of 15 December, no new posts have been made by Charli on her account. We’ll update this as developments are made. This is far from the first time TikTok’s biggest stars have been targeted by online hackers. Addison Rae had her account temporarily suspended in mid-August. Her iconic handle, ‘addisonre,’ was changed to ‘joeandzak1,’ and several videos were posted on her profile. Charli D’Amelio also had her VSCO account hacked in June.

Dixie D’Amelio takes shots at people upset by her & Charli’s appearance at Jake Paul fight Instagram: dixiedamelioTikTok star Dixie D’Amelio has responded to people criticizing her appearance in the ring at the Jake Paul vs. Ben Askren Triller fight event along with sister Charli. The Jake Paul vs. Ben Askren fight was a hugely anticipated event, with people keen to see whether the YouTuber would be able to beat the MMA fighter. While many doubted the younger Paul brother’s chances, he ended up knocking out Askren in the first round, making for an unexpected turn of events. Charli and Dixie D’Amelio, two of the most popular stars on TikTok, were asked to take part in the event, with them both being affiliated with rival app Triller. Along with TikToker Avani, the girls presented the winner of undercard fight Steve Cunningham with his belt, as well as Jake Paul himself – though many viewers were confused to see the influencers participating in the event. “Bro Charli and Dixie D’Amelio handing Jake Paul the belt was one of the most cringiest things I’ve ever seen,” one Twitter user wrote. Another added: “No because what are Charli and Dixie even there for, they look like clowns.” https://twitter.com/YukiSZNs/status/1383649603153661953 In response, Dixie posted the short messages, “cry,” and, “I make you so mad, huh?” This was along with an Instagram story in which she wrote: “when there are 11k tweets about you putting a belt on a boxer.” https://twitter.com/dixiedamelio/status/1383629665697366019 The criticism seemed largely directed towards the D’Amelio sisters rather than Avani, and some fans even remarked that they felt the TikToker was “ignored” at the event. She even responded by saying: “I’m sisters with Charli & Dixie starting today.” i’m sisters with charli & dixie starting today — avani dicaprio (1990s edition) (@lilpapivoni) April 18, 2021 While many were confused about the presence of the girls at the huge fight event, others have been defending them on social media, claiming that it’s not worth getting angry over. Whether Charli, Dixie, Avani, or other huge internet stars will make appearances at more events like this in the future is uncertain, but it’s clear that Dixie doesn’t have time for the people criticizing her place at the Triller event.

Dixie D’Amelio tears up over painful nose surgery aftermath in BTS vlog – Dexerto
Dixie D’Amelio tears up over painful nose surgery aftermath in BTS vlog YouTube: Dixie D’AmelioDixie D’Amelio has finally released the behind the scenes vlog of her nose surgery from back in September, with the uncomfortable after-effects leaving the much loved TikTok star emotional. Charli and Dixie D’Amelio have taken the TikTok world by storm, very much as a family unit. The sisters, along with their parents, have spread their content wings past TikTok, and into YouTube, the podcast world, and have even dabbled in beauty. The youngest sister Charli grossed fans out in August when she released a rather gruesome video of her own nose surgery to help fix her breathing, showing a very detailed look of the doctor scraping out pieces of cartilage and septum. About a month following Dixie received the same procedure in order to fix breathing problems that had accumulated thanks to similar injuries that Charli received. Dixie even had to call out fans who claimed she was ‘copying’ Charli for getting surgery, despite the fact that the procedure was not cosmetic. After waiting for over a month, Dixie has now finally unveiled the behind the scenes vlog of the lead up to her surgery on her YouTube channel, and it’s safe to say it wasn’t a particularly fun experience. She included videos of the consultations between her and her surgeon, with him demonstrating that that main point of the surgery was to correct a twist in the septum that was caused by sporting incidents that led to a whopping 14 concussions. Dixie D’Amelio shares negative side effects of surgery The immediate after-effects were clearly uncomfortable, Dixie saying “I cried right after surgery because I wanted to go home so bad. And I just wanna snort, I wanna breathe in so deep but there’s cotton on my nose. And my forehead’s itchy but it’s also numb.” In a slightly delirious video taken in the mirror, Dixie said “I keep crying and I don’t know why,” but even after an uncomfortable looking cough, continues to sing “keep your head up, it’s bedtime.” While the star seemed in relatively light spirits initially, all things considered, things quickly took a turn for the worst the next day, when she said that “I had such a rough night trying to sleep.” “My nose doesn’t hurt at all, but I have an awful migraine, and I get really bad migraines, so that’s just where all my pain is right now.” The TikTok star also admitted that she “couldn’t stop crying last night over my thoughts.” However, now that time has passed since the surgery, Dixie looks to be in better spirits than ever, much to her fans’ relief. In the description of her vlog, she also thanked her surgeon Dr. Raj Kanodia for “doing such an amazing job and making me feel so comfortable from beginning to end!” Dixie D’Amelio is a TikTok influencer with over 42 million followers on the app. She and her younger sister Charli D’Amelio have garnered a combined follower count of a whopping 137 million followers.

Dixie D’Amelio speaks out over Charli apparently getting more attention – Dexerto
Dixie D’Amelio speaks out over Charli apparently getting more attention IG: DixieD’AmelioDixie D’Amelio has rubbished claims that her younger sister Charli gets more love and attention than her, particularly from their parents, as her sister has become the number one TikTok star. As far as famous siblings go, there are few on the level of Charli and Dixie D’Amelio. The pair have risen to the top of TikTok, the Beijing-based video-sharing platform that has climbed the ranks of social media apps. While Charli D’Amelio has been top of the most followed list for some time, older sister Dixie has also surged to own the 12th most followed account in the world. However, Charli’s greater following, paired with limited insight into the D’Amelio family, has led to some fans concerned for Dixie, believing that she is not giving as much attention or care as her younger sister. “I ran the show, for 18 years,” Dixie said, in an Instagram live. “Like I ran the show – Charli was Dixie’s sister. Like, teachers would call her Dixie’s sister, everything. I don’t care, at all.” https://www.instagram.com/p/CDE6UP9HNBu/ While Dixie dismissed the claims, arguing that for the years before they were in the public eye she garnered more attention than her sister, she also got her parents to comment on the situation. “Now we’ve got to watch what we say,” Dixie and Charli’s father stated, in the same Instagram Live. “Because we always kid each other, and then if we let you guys into what is just normal banter in our house, people are gonna come after us and say ‘Oh my god they’re so mean’. We have a funny, loving, normal [family].” https://www.instagram.com/p/CDE6W5uHCY5/ Many fans even responded to send their love to the D’Amelio family, with one writing: “Y’all really think they’re gonna shame their own daughter for not being as famous as Charli”. It certainly appears that fans were getting concerned and frustrated over limited interactions that were easily taken out of context. Let’s hope that Dixie and her parents’ response puts an end to the potentially hurtful claims.

Dixie D’Amelio takes aim at TikTok “f**kboys” in new music video – Dexerto
Dixie D’Amelio takes aim at TikTok “f**kboys” in new music video YouTube: Dixie D’AmelioTikTok star Dixie D’Amelio has dropped the music video for her brand new single ‘F**kboy’ with her sister Charli even having a part in the song. Dixie is one of TikTok’s most popular stars, with over 50 million followers. The 19-year-old started out on the app in 2019, and quickly managed to build a substantial following. She’s had some crazy opportunities thanks to her sudden fame, including creating her own talk show, but one of the things many know her for is her music career. The star released her first single ‘Be Happy’ in 2020, and since then has gone on to collaborate with people like Liam Payne and Wiz Khalifa. Her new song ‘F**kboy’ was released on May 13, and as the title suggests, the track is all about her calling out guys who haven’t treated her that well, and could even be a nod to her past relationships with people like TikTok star Griffin Johnson — but nothing has been confirmed. The lyrics include things like: “Why am I so stuck on you/When you’re just stuck on her/Why’d I try to f**k with you/Now I’m just f**king hurt/And I’m tired/Of being so damn tired/Cause I stayed up all night crying bout a piece of sh*t a** liar.” Even Charli D’Amelio, Dixie’s younger sister and fellow TikTok star, got to have a part in the track. At the start of the video, the two girls are on the phone to each other, with Dixie saying: “Oh my God, Charli, he slid into my DMs and said he missed me,” and Charli replying “I just saw him with her yesterday.” The video also featured other huge social media stars like Nikita Dragun and Avani. Fans have of course been busy trying to figure out who the track is about, but the star has not yet revealed if the lyrics are about anyone in particular. Dixie is currently in a relationship with fellow TikToker Noah Beck, and the pair have been together since October 2020. Noah even previously starred in Dixie’s music video for ‘Be Happy,’ but he didn’t appear in this latest release.

Dixie D’Amelio slams toxic trolls for bullying Taio Cruz off TikTok Eva Rinaldi[jwplayer ZXB9LNVP]Rapper Taio Cruz has left viral video sharing app TikTok after he revealed that the most “negative experience” of his life took place in his only few days on the site, with even influencers like Dixie D’Amelio calling out those who bullied him off the platform. Taio Cruz is a popular singer and rapper who made a name for himself through smash hits such as Dynamite in 2009, which now has over 99 million views on YouTube. His busy career has garnered him a sizeable fanbase, and as a way to connect with those fans he decided to join the ranks of celebrities such as Cardi B and Jason Derulo by signing up to TikTok. However, he clearly realized that TikTok was not all it was cracked up to be, as hate toward the star quickly began to pile up. After only being on the app for under the week, he released a now-deleted post announcing that due to the intensely toxic environment, he would no longer be using it. https://twitter.com/jasminemilkteea/status/1308562365777027075 “Never in my life have I had a more negative experience than my past few days on here,” he wrote. “Take care of your mental health, and be kind to each other. To those that have love for me, thank you. This community is not for me.” After an outpouring of support, the star then took to Instagram to explain further why he chose to leave TikTok. “I’m DEFINITELY NOT going back to TikTok any time soon. My body was shaking and I had suicidal thoughts,” he added. “Some users posted hateful, mocking videos which spurred a feedback loop of negativity. Social media shouldn’t be like this. Sadly it is.” Many were furious that people had been so cruel to Taio, including TikTok star Dixie D’Amelio, who called out the haters on Twitter when she heard the news. y’all bullied a legit music artist (which is know for being one of the harshest industries) off tiktok in under a week…WHAT??? just be nice wtf — dixie (@dixiedamelio) September 23, 2020 is being “ top comment” worth it? will that help you sleep at night? you are literally causing mental and possibly physical harm on another human being…does that feel good? — dixie (@dixiedamelio) September 23, 2020 “Y’all bullied a legit music artist (which is known for being one of the harshest industries) off TikTok in under a week…WHAT??? Dixie D’Amelio speaks out on Griffin Johnson break-up rumors – Dexerto
Dixie D’Amelio speaks out on Griffin Johnson break-up rumors Instagram: Dixie D’Amelio[jwplayer ksH6zuKH]TikTok star Dixie D’Amelio has spoken out about the rumors surrounding her and Griffin Johnson amid claims that the pair have called it a day and broken up. Since blowing up through TikTok, Dixie D’Amelio has branched out into a full-blown social media star – building up loyal followings across Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube. She’s even paired up with her sister, Charli, to create a makeup palette. Though, with the popularity that she has achieved, her every move is under the microscope – especially when it comes to relationships. Following rumors about an apparent breakup between herself and Griffin Johnson, which were fueled by Dixie unfollowing him on both Twitter and Instagram, the TikToker has made some moves to speak out. Even though she hasn’t named Griffin or said anything too clear, fans pointed to a post on Dixie’s secondary Instagram account that appears to have been aimed at the rumors about their breakup. “So disappointed tbh, it is what it is and everything happens for a reason,” Dixie captioned a photo of herself on her mydixiewreckd account in the early hours of the morning on August 1. https://www.instagram.com/p/CDVwPaJnc7u/ Prior to that, eagle-eyed fans noted that she’d liked a tweet aimed at Griffin from one of her fans. “Griffin I beg you to pls treat your next girlfriend good,” the liked post reads, which Griffin himself also liked. However, as of writing, Dixie’s Twitter account has been set to private so anyone who doesn’t currently follow her won’t be able to see what is being said – nor liked. https://www.instagram.com/p/CDVcx_dHb_A/ Of course, all signs seem to point at the pair breaking up but neither of them has confirmed anything. So until something is confirmed, any post or move is sure to fuel speculation in the meantime. We’ll just have to wait and see what happens.

Dixie D’Amelio slams Griffin Johnson over “cheating” screenshots – Dexerto
Dixie D’Amelio slams Griffin Johnson over “cheating” screenshots YouTube: Dixie D’Amelio[jwplayer ksH6zuKH]TikTok star Dixie D’Amelio is taking shots at ex-boyfriend and fellow content creator Griffin Johnson, alleging that she has a whopping “48 screenshots” that prove he was cheating on her. Dixie D’Amelio and Griffin Johnson’s relationship came under scrutiny in early July, after TikToker Chase Hudson accused Johnson of cheating on Dixie with two other women. After these accusations went viral online, Griffin and Dixie unfollowed each other on social media — and while they initially stayed silent on the situation, Dixie later hinted that Griffin had, indeed, been unfaithful. https://www.instagram.com/p/CCU6bKbnDIu/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link Now, it seems that Dixie is openly taking shots at her ex, instead of dropping hints over social media, writing in an Instagram comment that she has a total of 48 screenshots to prove that Griffin had cheated on her. “I guess the 48 screenshots of cheating during the relationship means nothing,” she wrote. That’s not all; she even accused Johnson of shaming her for hanging out with friends, writing, “S**t shame me one more time for having friends” — which may or may not be referring to her currently ambiguous relationship with TikToker Noah Beck. https://www.instagram.com/p/CEkU5V3nsfG/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link D’Amelio has even liked several Tweets from fans regarding the apparent cheating scandal, with one reading, “The fact that Dixie is mature enough that she spoke up for him and said don’t send him hate when there were 48 screenshots really says something about her.” https://www.instagram.com/p/CEkQA9LnIee/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link This isn’t mere fan speculation, either; D’Amelio did, indeed, ask fans to stop piling on Johnson following news of their split, begging critics to “drop it” and cease their harassment of the TikToker in wake of the cheating accusations. can y’all stop sending him hate, things happen its a part of life and growing up. if im not going on about it so neither should any of y’all. it hurts me seeing him hurting and its just not fair at this point. its over. we are fine. drop it. — dixie (@dixiedamelio) August 14, 2020 Johnson himself may have commented on the situation, as well, writing in a Tweet that he has “nothing to hide, imma keep making jokes out of the petty s***. I’m not perfect.” thing Ive been hated for: cheating vaping being misogynist taking too long to duety’all bored & this is getting old. follow these disney perfect creators but lemme inform you it’s an act. I have nothing to hide & imma keep making jokes out of the petty shit. im not perfect — Griffin Johnson (@lmgriffjohnson) August 31, 2020 For now, it looks like fans are chomping at the bit for a peek into Dixie’s alleged screenshots; but considering her staunch attitude on public harassment of her ex previously, all viewers can do is watch and wait to see if she decides to spill the beans for real.

Dixie D’Amelio slams Kio Cyr after TikToker claims she ‘owes’ Charli for her fame – Dexerto
Dixie D’Amelio slams Kio Cyr after TikToker claims she ‘owes’ Charli for her fame Instagram: Dixie D’Amelio / Kio CyrDixie D’Amelio lashed out at TikToker Kio Cyr after he claimed that she ‘owes’ her success to the likes of Charli and Noah Beck, and unlike her, he needs to resort to things like sharing gossip to “make money.” Dixie is no stranger to being accused of riding the success of her sister, Charli. In fact, the endless amounts of hatred and vitriol she and other influences receive on the internet drove her to abstain from social media once before. But despite having a blossoming music career, her own YouTube show, and equal footing in all the D’Amelio sister’s business endeavors, including a custom-designed mattress, a clothing line, and more, it seems like nothing will convince people that she’s achieved things on her own merit, too. Kio is the latest person to accuse her of ‘owing’ her success to her sister after an unexpected feud broke out between them. It started when Kio implied he was planning to gossip about other influencers after TikTok Room’s Instagram page went down. Dixie responded, saying, “imagine minding your own business,” although she subsequently claimed she was hacked, which may or may not be true. Nevertheless, Kio hit back with a vengeance during a live feed. “We have to address the ‘tea’ involving me,” he said. “Dixie’s telling me to mind my own business when she has an entire show where she talks about ‘tea.’” “You know, not all of us have Charli D’Amelio as a sister, and not all of us are dating Noah Beck, okay? Some of us have got to make money other ways.” https://twitter.com/defnoodles/status/1399959102105604098?s=20 Dixie ignored the jab about her success. Instead, she addressed the claims he made about her show. “I don’t put information out that isn’t put out by the person who’s involved in the situation. Nice try though, Kio,” she said. “There’s a difference between interviewing someone and using someone else’s situation for views. Maybe if you didn’t bring up people’s situations when it’s not your place, they would love to collaborate with you!” Kio tried to play it down afterward, claiming that the two of them are “not actually beefing” and “talk sh*t all the time.” However, most fans aren’t convinced. After all, it got quite personal, especially the part about Dixie ‘mooching’ off the success of others.

Dixie D’Amelio slams criticism over Grammy performance rumors – Dexerto
Dixie D’Amelio slams criticism over Grammy performance rumors YouTube: Dixie D’AmelioTikTok star Dixie D’Amelio has pivoted from an online influencer to a budding music artist, creating several original songs with major features — but rumors that she could be performing at the Grammys are making her critics lash out. Dixie D’Amelio is a huge name in the TikTok world. Big sister to the platform’s most-followed creator, Charli D’Amelio, Dixie has also received a fair amount of shine, and has even managed to pursue her dream in the music biz as a result of her own internet fame. In late 2020, Dixie broke into the industry with a few original songs — some of which were met with incredible backlash from critics, who gave such negative feedback that Dixie deleted a teaser for one of her tracks before it was even released. That being said, Dixie certainly has her own sizeable fanbase and has scored millions of views on her music videos — but this has caused a slew of rumors to circulate online, which began in December 2020 after fans claimed she would be opening the 2021 Grammys. While Dixie has rebuffed these rumors before — some of which claimed she would be performing alongside none other than 6ix9ine — it seems that she’s had to address the speculation once again, as the Grammys approach in just four days’ time. In a series of Instagram stories, Dixie revealed that she’s seeing an intense amount of criticism due to the rumors, and lashed out at the unexpected hate with an equal amount of sass. “Why tf am I getting hate for a RUMOR,” she wrote. “I’m tiredddd.” Dixie then decided to have a little fun with the speculation, uploading a photo of herself captioned, “Oh my god I cannot wait for the Grammys!” Unfortunately for hopeful fans, it doesn’t look like Dixie will be opening for the prestigious music award ceremony, and has not been nominated for a Grammy, either. That isn’t to say that she won’t be in attendance, at all; fans might still get a chance to see her flex on the red carpet, but as for her performing or receiving an award, these appear to be mere rumors that Dixie is clearly done with.

Dixie D’Amelio slams critics who claim Noah Beck “deserves better” – Dexerto
Dixie D’Amelio slams critics who claim Noah Beck “deserves better” Instagram: Dixie D’AmelioDixie D’Amelio has hit back at fans for “assuming” things about her relationship with Noah Beck after the pair took a lie detector test in the latest episode of her YouTube series, ‘The Early Late Show With Dixie D’Amelio.’ Ever since they confirmed their relationship back in July, Noah and Dixie rival Bryce Hall and Addison as TikTok’s sweethearts. From the drama surrounding Griffin’s alleged cheating scandal to rumors flying when they kissed in the “Be Happy” music video, they’ve stolen the hearts of millions of fans. But in the aftermath of the lie detector video, some were unhappy about her seemingly “awkward” displays of affection towards him, with several commenting that Noah “deserves better”, especially when he’s known for ‘simping’ over Dixie across social media. The conversation even spread to TikTok with one person commenting underneath one of Noah’s videos about Dixie: “Bro makes 100 videos about her, but she doesn’t even make two of him.” Noah responded, “What matters is how we are offline/in private and we are the only ones who truly know how much we love each other.” One tweet criticizing Dixie read, “I feel so bad for Noah to be honest, Dixie honestly treats him like s**t. He’s so in love with her, but I feel like she doesn’t return the love.” View this post on Instagram Dixie wasn’t having any of it, responding with an explanation that not all of their relationship exists online: “I love Noah with my whole heart, after being publicly heartbroken before I struggle with displaying love online from the fear of it happening again,” before sarcastically adding, “But I’m glad you know our whole relationship from a YouTube video!” One person responded in support saying they have a feeling the couple will get married one day, to which Dixie responded, “me too.” Since tweeting out about the backlash, even her ex-boyfriend Griffin Johnson defended her after the two set aside their differences. He said, “Dixie and Noah are great and you all should be happy for them too.” Despite speculation from fans and followers, it certainly seems like Noah has zero doubt about how in love they both are and it doesn’t look like they’ll be breaking up any time soon.

Dixie D’Amelio shocked by Sebastian Topete’s insane tattoo of her – Dexerto
Dixie D’Amelio shocked by Sebastian Topete’s insane tattoo of her Dixie D’Amelio, Sebastian Topete – YouTubeTikTok creator Dixie D’Amelio is quickly climbing to the top of social media stardom — and she’s gotten so popular that another internet celeb decided to get a tattoo of her name in a seriously unexpected location. YouTuber, Instagram star and all-around online sensation Sebastian Topeta is likewise known for his viral videos — but he took things a step further by honoring one of the net’s fastest-rising celebrities with a permanent homage. Topete revealed his plan in a vlog on June 7, where he admitted he was going to get Dixie’s name tattooed inside of his lower lip as a show of their friendship. That’s not all; the YouTuber even admitted that this would be his first tattoo ever, and that he’d thought up the crazy stunt as a spur-of-the-moment idea for a vlog. “I’m really about to get ‘Dixie’ as my first tattoo,” the YouTuber exclaimed as he waited in the tattoo parlor. “I just thought of this a couple hours ago. I was just laying in my bed… ‘I’m gonna film a YouTube video today. You know what? I’m gonna get a tattoo. I’m gonna write Dixie on my lip.’ It kinda escalated.” Although he’d teased Dixie with a “surprise,” she had no idea what was in store — and was understandably shocked after Topete revealed his new ink. “It says your name,” Topete explained over their ensuing FaceTime call. “No it doesn’t,” Dixie replied, her voice flat with disbelief. “Oh my lord! You’re joking! A lip tattoo!” Dixie isn’t the only one Topete surprised with his tattoo; he also called up his mother, who similarly floored by her son’s antics, asking if the procedure hurt in typical mom fashion. This isn’t the end of Topete’s TikTok-related tattoo schemes, either; he jokingly claimed he would write ‘Addison’ on his chest for his next tattoo, along with a slew of other TikTok stars including the platform’s most-followed creator, Charli D’Amelio. While Dixie has yet to comment on the matter with a video, this wouldn’t be the first time fans and fellow creatives have payed their homage to her in strange ways — although this definitely marks a first for the eldest D’Amelio sibling.
