  • David Dobrik hits out at fans stalking his house and demands they stop – Dexerto

David Dobrik hits out at fans stalking his house and demands they stop YouTube sensation, David Dobrik, has vented his frustrations on Twitter after fans continue to impose on his privacy by visiting his home. YouTube stars’ fame is often paralleled with that of some of the biggest celebrities from around the world. With the influence of social media, YouTubers often find themselves springing into the spotlight in no time at all. Since YouTube is a widely accessible platform, fans from around the world can tap into their favorite creator’s life within a matter of seconds. However, there is a distinct difference between being connected with your favorite personality and quite literally imposing on their life. There are various examples of high-profile creators experiencing an invasion of privacy. From a man trespassing Casey Neistat’s YouTube co-worker space, to Felix ‘PewDiePie’ Kjellberg recalling incidents where fans have overstepped the mark while trying to eat dinner. Although, perhaps more alarmingly, fans have began invading creators’ personal space. David Dobrik’s rise to stardom places him among some of the most high-profile creators on YouTube. With just shy of 15 million subscribers, his following has snowballed in recent years. However, the Slovak-born internet personality has now begged for fans to stop coming to his house and respect his personal space. Hello guys I love everyone that supports me and shows me love. Truly. BUT PLEASE STOP COMING TO MY FUCKING HOUSE — DAVID DOBRIK (@DavidDobrik) December 28, 2019 While David Dobrik’s house is often used as the set for some of his more extravagant scenes from his videos, it is also a home for him and his friends to enjoy some downtime away from the pressures of being a big YouTuber. Although there is no reported fan transgression at the time of writing, simply visiting someone’s property uninvited goes beyond what is considered moral and could be considered as trespassing, which could come with a long-list of ramifications. This isn’t the first episode of fans turning up out of nowhere. Popular cosplayer, Jessica Nigri, released an uncharacteristically somber series of Tweets pleading for fans to respect boundaries, after a stalker visited her home back in March. I hate to have to say this…I shouldn’t have to say this… It is never okay to come to someone’s house you follow online. Good intentions or not, please please please respect people’s privacy. Coming to their homes is NEVER OKAY. FOR ANY REASON. — Jessica Nigri ❤️🇳🇿 (@JessicaNigri) March 22, 2019 At the very extreme end of the scale, popular Twitch streamer Guy ‘Dr Disrespect’ Beahm had to deal with shots being fired towards his house during a live broadcast. Thankfully, no one was harmed during the incident. However, given that his family, including his young daughter, reside at the property, there has to be a line which fans and trolls alike must respect when considering a visit to their home — regardless of their intentions.

  • David Dobrik claims he hasn’t made money from YouTube in four years – Dexerto

David Dobrik claims he hasn’t made money from YouTube in four years YouTube: VIEWSDavid Dobrik claims he hasn’t made any money from his YouTube content in four years, but he isn’t willing to lock it behind a paywall because he believes it should be available for free. Dobrik is one of the most popular vloggers on YouTube. He has a whopping 18 million subscribers on his main channel, putting him in the top 200. But apparently, that doesn’t mean he’s making good money. During an episode of the VIEWS Podcast that aired on January 2, Dobrik revealed that he “hasn’t made a dollar” from his content on the platform in “three to four years.” But that doesn’t mean he wants to jump ship. “I think money is important because money can make so many other people happy,” said Dobrik. Then Jason Nash, the co-host of The Views podcast, disclosed that Dobrik makes “zero dollars” from YouTube. Dobrik admitted it’s true. “Yeah. That’s f**ked up,” he said. “I was thinking about that the other day. For the people who don’t know, I haven’t made a dollar off YouTube in like three to four years.” He also revealed that he considered switching to a paid platform but decided against it. “I had a meeting with a paid platform person. I was like yeah, let’s do it. But after the meeting, I went f**king gray in the face.” The reason is that he feels like it would be “f**ked up” to charge people for his content. “If I make something great, I’m not going to want to put it behind a paywall. I’m going to want to put it out so everybody can access it.” In December 2021, Dobrik admitted that he’s considering pulling the plug on his YouTube vlogs, but for different reasons. “I think I did what I wanted to do with the vlogs,” he said. “I just want to try something new. I’m like 25. When the f**k am I going to stop vlogging? When does the next thing happen?” He’s still at it for the time being. But if he does decide to call it quits, it seems like it won’t hurt his revenue too much based on his latest claims.

  • David Dobrik has hilarious reaction to finding out Natalie & Ilya kissed – Dexerto

David Dobrik has hilarious reaction to finding out Natalie & Ilya kissed InstagramL @ilyafeddyFans of the Vlog Squad are well aware of the odd chemistry between David Dobrik and his assistant, Natalie Mariduena — but before she began dating Todd Smith, there was apparently another guy vying for her affections, as well. The Vlog Squad is a chaotic combination of high-profile influencers, who often hang out with David Dobrik in his short-form, high-energy YouTube videos. Natalie Mariduena is one of these individuals, as is Ilya Fedorovich, a Belarusian social media star who gained his claim to fame for being one half of the ‘In-Debt’ YouTube comedy duo. However, it seems that there was more than show business on his mind, as Natalie revealed that she’d actually kissed the influencer during a recent episode of the ‘New Views’ podcast with Dobrik and Vlog Squad member Jason Nash. According to Natalie, Ilya had been flirtatious toward her for quite some time, and had even joked about marrying her on several occasions. However, things apparently amped up during the Squad’s stint at Lollapalooza one year, when the group was gathered on a helicopter pad and the two locked lips. David appeared to have totally forgotten the encounter, leading to a hilarious exchange between himself, Natalie and Ilya, who made sure to yank his chain about not remembering the incident. “What the f**k? You guys have kissed? Why are you looking at me like that?” he asked, completely bewildered. “David, you know that we have kissed,” Natalie explained. “You were the one who set it up, who made it happen!” “Oh, hell yeah,” David responded. “Good for me!” Natalie went on to explain the encounter for him, which David seemed to remember — aside from the kiss, itself. “I forgot!” he shouted. “Dude, why are you f**king blowing up my f**king s**t right now, dog?” “That was such a big thing, and I got so mad at you for recording it, ‘cause you were begging me to put it in the vlog,” Natalie replied. While it seems that David’s memory might not be the best, his dim recollection of events certainly made for a hilarious moment — a moment that will also probably slip his mind.

  • David Dobrik gives bizarre car to YouTuber trading sand for a Tesla – Dexerto

David Dobrik gives bizarre car to YouTuber trading sand for a Tesla TikToker and YouTuber Isaiah Photo has been on a mission to trade a worthless pot of sand item by item until he receives a Tesla (from Elon Musk himself), and YouTube star David Dobrik has helped him on his way by trading him a car, though it isn’t quite a Tesla. A trend that has surged in popularity on TikTok in 2020 is the trading challenge. This sees somebody seeking to trade a mundane and functionally worthless item for progressively more and more expensive items until they end up with something insanely valuable, without having to spend a penny. The trend has seen accounts become hugely popular as a result of the trend, with TikToker Demi Skipper set out to trade her way all the way up to a house with just a bobby pin. While she hasn’t achieved her ultimate goal just yet she’s made some insane trades and has scooped up 4.5 million followers in the process. Isaiah Photo set out to do something similar in July, collecting a tiny pot of sand from the beach and listing it online to see if anyone was willing to trade with him. He was successful, swapping the sand for two wetsuits worth over $100 dollars, setting the ball well and truly rolling. Having traded all the way up to a $4000 guitar, Isaiah wanted to enlist the help of a huge creator for his next swap, and set about advertising on a billboard to hopefully grab insanely popular YouTuber David Dobrik’s attention. The crazy plan worked and David agreed to swap Isaiah’s guitar for something, though initially, he didn’t reveal exactly what that was going to be. As the hopeful swapper stood facing David, his latest item pulled up behind him; a customized Hollywood tour bus that David claims is worth up to $15,000. Even bobby pin swapper Demi Skipper had something to say about the huge trade, saying “I’m not gonna lie, I’m impressed!” under David’s video about the bizarre trade. Spurred on by the success of his latest high profile encounter, Isaiah called upon the #sandtotesla viewers to flood Logan Paul’s comments to let him know about the crazy project. It may well be Logan who ends up with the Hollywood tour bus next.

  • David Dobrik gives away thousands of dollars to strangers – Dexerto

David Dobrik gives away thousands of dollars to strangers David Dobrik always finds a way to make his short-form vlogs interesting and exciting, be it through pranks, wacky antics or, in this case, giving away thousands of dollars to unsuspecting random people. Dobrik can often be seen giving away expensive gifts, such as cars or event tickets, to his friends thanks to brand deals from various companies. This type of content has helped him blow up in recent years, and now he has taken that generosity to the wider world, giving money and gifts to random people across LA. In his December 14 vlog, Dobrik and his Vlog Squad friends played out a couple of funny skits, including Dobrik hitting on his friend Nick Antonyan’s sister, Susie, and destroying the room they were filming in. After this, though, David took out an undisclosed (but clearly large) amount of money from the bank before handing it out across Los Angeles. He gave a large wad of cash to a fast-food waitress, bought car-full of flowers to hand out to random passers-by and also purchased a bunch of Apple products, including MacBooks, to a youth club in Burbank, to a chorus of screaming kids. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=brQEnKsMvB0 It’s almost unbelievable to think of the amount of money Dobrik must have spent to get this footage for his video – far in excess of tens of thousands of dollars if you only include the Apple products themselves. It seems reasonable though – earlier in the video, Dobrik secured a brand deal with Bumble simply because his friend stated that she met her fiance on the dating app. Though it wasn’t specified how much money he was offered, it seems pretty obvious that the figure was high given how much he was able to give away after. In the midst of the holiday season, Dobrik was clearly in a giving mood, so you should expect to see some very similar content when Christmas day rolls around and he wants to make sure everybody he knows has an outstanding time. It’s not yet clear how much David Dobrik spent to create this video, but there was evidently no expense spared to make sure the LA locals were treated very well and have their days made.

  • David Dobrik gives away another car to his assistant Natalie – Dexerto

David Dobrik gives away another car to his assistant Natalie David Dobrik is one of the biggest names on YouTube right now, and has become well-known for buying expensive cars and gifts for his friends. Now, his assistant Natalie is the lucky recipient – for the second time in the past year. For her birthday in 2018, Dobrik bought Natalie a brand-new Mercedes, making her frequent Chipotle trips to collect food for him infinitely more exciting. Not only this but he has given countless experiences, such as Super Bowl tickets, to his friends and the people who have supported him. Now, though, it’s a new year and a new birthday for Natalie, and David had to one-up the gift he gave her last year somehow. It’s safe to say, he probably managed it. His vlog was playing out as it always does, pranking his friends, breaking things, and people getting hurt, before it paused on a still of Natalie, with David briefly explaining the roots of their friendship and working relationship. He then says, “It’s her birthday this week, and also our two-year anniversary of working together, so I decided to get her her favorite baby blue Ford Bronco.” When he gathers his friends round to present the gift to Natalie he asks her to guess, telling her it’s “something you and your Mom both love and have both talked about.” Realization dawns on Natalie’s face as she tells David to shut up and refuses to believe it. (Timestamp 2:04 for mobile users) Naturally, Natalie starts questioning David but, by the time she gets outside and sees the car, has a face of sheer delight, literally jumping with joy. She even jokes about having to take more vacations when David referred to it as a “beach car”, but he quickly (jokingly) shut that down. The estimated base price of the 2020 Ford Bronco is $30,000, which definitely isn’t a cheap gift by any stretch of the imagination. While this is expensive, $30,000 is by no means the most Dobrik has spent on a car for his friends. In August 2019, he surprised friend and Vlog Squad member Heath Hussar with a Lamborghini Huracan worth $300,000, leaving Hussar in tears. This doesn’t much help to dispel the rumors that David and Natalie are dating, which are ramping up day-by-day, but if they are just friends and colleagues then one thing is confirmed: we all need a friend like David Dobrik.

  • David Dobrik gives $10,000 to fan for finding his lucky $1 bill – Dexerto

David Dobrik gives $10,000 to fan for finding his lucky $1 bill Instagram: daviddobrikEarlier in May 2020, David Dobrik put a certain dollar bill out into circulation in Los Angeles, offering anybody who finds it a $10,000 reward – and now the winner has been found and paid. On May 20, Dobrik posted a TikTok explaining that he was putting a dollar bill out into circulation and that he had written a secret message and his name on it. The deal was that whoever ended up with it and contacted him would win $10,000. This wasn’t your typical scavenger hunt, with the note being handed to a cashier of some sort rather than left in a hiding place, making it impossible to know exactly where to go to get it. It didn’t take long, though, for the bill to be found and Dobrik to be contacted, posting just six days later another TikTok of him dueting with a fan who had found it, confirming the secret message and that she was the winner. Then, a few hours later, Dobrik uploaded to his Instagram story the moment where he traded the $1 bill back for the $10,000 check, with both parties looking delighted about the transaction. He confirmed in the Instagram story that the winner, Hailey, had actually received the bill only a few hours after he posted the original TikTok, with her mom handing it to her as a graduation gift. The luck is truly unbelievable, and that $10,000 could go to any manner of things. If you were missing Dobrik’s YouTube content recently, this will make for great viewing – and a reminder that if you’re not tuned into all of his social media accounts, you could be missing out on tens of thousands of dollars.

  • David Dobrik gets John Stamos to hint at his Hollywood income – Dexerto

David Dobrik gets John Stamos to hint at his Hollywood income David Dobrik, YouTubeYouTube star David Dobrik is more than a social media celeb; this content creator has connections all the way up in Hollywood, including names like Howie Mandell, Justin Bieber, and even John Stamos. Dobrik is best known for his viral vlogs, which have included such stars as makeup mogul Kylie Jenner and, more recently, pop music sensation Justin Bieber, both of whom he surprised fans with in his signature Tesla. However, Dobrik brought in a new face to his vlogs in mid-March, featuring notable Full House actor and comedian John Stamos in a short snippet of his video. In the clip, Dobrik gives Stamos a ride in his Tesla with his “vlog squad” friend group, before asking the celebrity exactly how much money he makes being a Hollywood star. Of course, Stamos didn’t let slip the actual numbers: instead, he prompted Dobrik to guess at his earnings, resulting in a surprising — if not exactly crystal clear — answer. “How much do you think I make on the new show?” Stamos challenged. “I’m assuming $75k an episode,” Dobrik ballparked. “How much is it?” “It’s less than that,” the actor replied. “Oh, okay,” Dobrik said, with the wind somewhat taken out of his sails. “Really?” (Segment begins at 2:35 for mobile readers) Stamos responded by giving an over-enthusiastic head nod, leaving the group in stitches as he seemed to hint that he’s not raking in nearly as much dough as they had originally speculated. The actor’s humorous response to Dobrik’s question comes after the YouTuber revealed his own earnings in an interview with Men’s Health in 2019, where he admitted that YouTube isn’t exactly the best platform for stacking one’s paper. (Topic begins at 0:37 for mobile viewers) According to the vlogger, he makes less than $2,000 per month on average, claiming that the platform’s “adpocalypse” severely cut his previous monthly pay of around $275k. In fact, Dobrik claimed in an Instagram story that his vlog with Stamos was even copyright claimed by a music label, causing him to re-upload the video with different tunes — another issue he cited in his Men’s Health interview, which continues to plague content creators across the site to this day.

  • David Dobrik terrifies Kevin Hart with snake prank – Dexerto

David Dobrik terrifies Kevin Hart with snake prank David Dobrik Too, YouTubeYouTuber David Dobrik has a slew of celebrity friends, including Kevin Hart, who he pranked with a massive banana python while filming for the comedian’s internet show ‘What the Fit.’ Hart and Dobrik have been steadily releasing the fruits of their latest collaboration on YouTube, with the YouTuber leading a huge fitness class in Los Angeles as part of the comedian’s physical education program. However, that wasn’t the end of their hijinks; Dobrik uploaded some behind-the-scenes footage of their collab to his second YouTube channel a few days later, where he revealed a hilarious practical joke he pulled on the movie star. For his prank, he enlisted the help of an exotic animal handler, who allowed him the use of his friendly banana python as a way to scare Hart, who apparently has a pervasive fear of many species in the animal kingdom. To start, Dobrik asked that Kevin put a blindfold over his eyes for a “smell” challenge, where he was asked to identify a series of objects hidden inside tissue boxes by smelling them. The “challenge” was quickly interrupted after Dobrik told his companion that it was fine to remove the blindfold, revealing that he’d snuck the python inside the car while Hart was distracted trying to smell the tissue boxes. Hart nearly jumped out of his skin after seeing the snake, quickly ducking out of the car and away from the animal as fast as he could. “That could have gotten ugly!” Hart laughed after making his escape. “If I didn’t find that [door] handle, I could have broken this car!” “…if you would have had that thing on my lap or something, I would have s**ted myself!” (Topic begins at 2:51 for mobile readers) This isn’t the first time the pair have pulled pranks on each other. In fact, Hart pulled a practical joke on Dobrik during their ‘What the Fit’ collaboration by hinting that wrestling legend and actor Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson would join them for the segment. However, this was not to be, leaving Dobrik (and the rest of the audience) sorely disappointed — but it looks like the former Vine star got back at his buddy in the end.

David Dobrik is one of YouTube’s more popular content creators. On September 7, the influencer stated in a vlog that he had finally obtained a green card in the United States, which would allow him to leave the country and return to his former home country of Slovakia. Dobrik initially emigrated from Slovakia to America at six years old. Protected by DACA — Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals — Dobrik was allowed to live in the U.S. … but if he were to leave, he wouldn’t be able to return for a decade. Finally in possession of the necessary documentation of his citizenship, Dobrik took his friends to visit Slovakia with him. However, when it came time to leave the country, he found himself unable to follow his friends back to Los Angeles. David Dobrik explains why he was stuck in Slovakia “I’m still in Slovakia, except now it’s only me and Taylor,” Dobrik updated fans in a September 21 Instagram story. “Everyone went back home, because this is taking way longer, and it is a lot harder than I thought it was, getting my visa and green card.” (Readers can view Dobrik’s Instagram story by clicking the right arrow in the post below.) • David Dobrik finally responds to PewDiePie roasting his house: “We’re gonna move” – Dexerto

David Dobrik finally responds to PewDiePie roasting his house: “We’re gonna move” YouTube: PewDiePie, The Hollywood FixIn June, YouTube king Felix ‘PewDiePie’ Kjellberg threw some major shade toward fellow influencer David Dobrik — but it doesn’t look like Dobrik is letting the criticism bring him down. PewDiePie has been on a tear lately when it comes to influencer house tours. The Swedish social media star has made a veritable series out of reacting to the sometimes-opulent homes of the world’s biggest YouTubers. He’s made no bones about how he feels regarding their interior décor, location, and overall price-point, having roasted the likes of the ACE Family, Jeffree Star, and even Pokimane (whose desktop setup he deemed wildly “uncomfortable”). David Dobrik is one of the influencers whose homes he’s reviewed in the past. In June, PewDiePie uploaded a video reacting to Dobrik’s new home, which he’d purchased after going through some terrifying experiences with stalkers. Dobrik responds to PewDiePie roasting his house In his review, Kjellberg notably called Dobrik a “sociopath,” claiming that him “lacking any actual personality” was reflected in the décor of his house. “Where is he in this?” PewDiePie asked. “It looks good, don’t get me wrong. But this is his house, and there’s no way to know that.” (Topic begins at 7:30) Two months later, Dobrik finally responded to Kjellberg’s scathing comments after being approached by paparazzi from The Hollywood Fix while driving around town. When approached with the topic, Dobrik appeared to laugh it off, giving a completely sarcastic response. “Unbelievable,” he joked. “He’s saying my house doesn’t have personality? That’s unreal. This is some of the worst news I’ve received all day. Natalie and I will talk about this. We’re gonna move. We’re putting the house up for sale!” (Topic begins at 4:10) Dobrik returned to YouTube in June after a months-long hiatus amid a slew of accusations against him for putting former Vlog Squad members in uncomfortable situations for videos and even putting his friends’ lives in danger. It seems that PewDiePie shares the internet’s current sentiments regarding Dobrik — but the Vlog Squad leader isn’t likely to actually move out of his new mansion just to appease PewDiePie’s personal sense of style.

  • David Dobrik fan breaks down after he gifts her $25,000 – Dexerto

David Dobrik fan breaks down after he gifts her $25,000 YouTube: David DobrikDavid Dobrik has become known for his charitable donations to friends, family and even random people off the streets – but one fan’s life was changed when he gave her $25,000 to get through a difficult time of her life. Although Dobrik is known for giving his friends cars – approximately 15 or 16 across 18 months through 2019 – he has also been generous with his cash, giving money away to people for completing funny tasks or, in this case, simply because they could do with it. Meeting with a fan, Kevin, he finds out that “the girl of Kevin’s dreams” is having a tough time working multiple jobs to get through school and look after her child – so they decide to surprise her. Though Kevin originally just wanted to surprise Melissa with Dobrik’s presence, David obviously had other ideas after hearing her story, especially connecting with both of them on a deeper level as DACA recipients. As they sat in the car, he told her story to the viewer, and finally went “Wow, I wish I had something to give you. I’ll give you everything in my pocket.” After pulling out a few bills and offering her $25, he stops and says “Oh, wait, hold on. Oh, and a check for $25,000,” pulling out the check and handing it to her. At first, Melissa and Kevin both repeatedly say “no,” but through a stream of tears of happiness, Melissa finally accepts the gift. After calming down a bit, Melissa explains that every day she would sit down with her child to eat and they would watch Dobrik’s vlogs together, saying that “nothing can make me laugh as much as you do” to the beaming YouTuber. Despite hanging out with some of the biggest celebrities in the world now, such as Justin Bieber and Nicole Scherzinger, Dobrik clearly hasn’t forgotten his roots and continues to prove why he’s one of the fastest-growing entertainers on YouTube.

David Dobrik faces backlash over VIEWS podcast return after 5-month break YouTube: VIEWSDavid Dobrik and Jason Nash have been receiving some backlash after they uploaded their first episode of the VIEWS podcast after a 5-month break. YouTuber David Dobrik and Jason Nash have been collaborating on the VIEWS podcast together since 2017, inviting on a huge array of guests, and talking about some of the most topical things on social media. In February 2021, the team even started uploading video versions of their podcast to YouTube in a studio. However, in March, the YouTuber took a 3-month long break from the internet after the Vlog Squad controversy where he lost several big sponsors and many subscribers. This meant he suspended uploading across all social media platforms, including the podcast. Dobrik returned to content creation later in June, though he had a decidedly mixed reception. Now, David and Jason have uploaded their first podcast back since the controversy, in an episode titled ‘David Has Left the Country.’ They are however only uploading the audio, and have not uploaded another video to the VIEWS channel. The vlogger uploaded a video in which he surprised Jason with the podcast return, but not everyone was happy about their decision to come back. Topic starts at 5:21 “So basically you can do whatever you want then take a break for 3 months and come back like nothing happened,” one user wrote on a post shared by Def Noodles. “This genuinely just frustrates me,” another wrote. However, the reaction wasn’t entirely negative, as one commenter wrote: “People love to hate. On my way! to watch the new VIEWS episode.” This reaction was echoed in the comments of Dobrik’s YouTube video and across other social media platforms. At the end of the episode, David revealed that he’s considering uploading two episodes a week, with one locked behind a paywall, saying that all of the money would go to the people that they surprise in the vlogs.

But earlier this week Dobrik revealed that he met the one and only Leonardo Dicaprio. It turns out they’re taking part in a campaign together to encourage people to vote in the US election. David posted to his Instagram: “Hey guys I wanna fly one of you to hang with me and meet Leo in LA!! We want you and your friends to get out there and vote!” Despite being a world-famous name himself, like the rest of us, Dobrik said he freaked out when he first spoke to Dicaprio. He recalled his friend introducing him to the actor: “He’s like hey I’d like you to meet one of my friends and I was like okay cool. I was like he probably wants me to say hi to his little sister or his niece or something and then he gives the phone his friend and he goes hey David it’s Leonardo Dicaprio I go what the f***” “I put myself on mute and I run into the office and as he’s talking I go Leo Dicaprio’s on the f***ing phone with me…and then we’re just listening to Leo talk for like two seconds and then bring it back because I didn’t want to be weird and sitting around this campfire of Leo’s voice.” But when it came to meeting the actor in person, David recalled how weird it is to see a movie actor in the real world. “The second you get to hang out with the celebrity and that like that wall breaks or like that tension breaks. “Like he opened the door for us and his dog got out so he had to go chase his dog, and that’s where you go oh my god this is f***ing real it’s the guy from the Titanic, this is the Wolf of Wall Street but he’s here at his house he’s just chilling. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=82uSwzFfW8M “He had family over and like a bunch of little kids the dogs were out like it was a whole a lot yeah it was just so crazy…we’re just right here just hanging out with him it’s so bizarre.” There are certainly fans out there who would feel the same sense of awe if they met David, but still comforting to know that even the internet’s biggest celebrities get starstruck.

However, the popular star revealed that things didn’t always look so bright for him and that his parents even wanted him to quit YouTube at a certain point in his career. Dobrik revealed, during an interview with EliteDaily, that when he initially shared his plans to become a successful YouTuber with his parents they were left quite unsure about his potential career path. “I think my family is just constantly confused [about] what’s going on,” he explained, “I remember the first couple years I started doing this they were kind of like ‘OK, what’s going on?’” He then shared that they had even asked him to quit YouTube and go back to school at a certain point after concerns over how sustainable vlogging could be, “At first, they were like, ‘You need to stop doing this and go back to school.’ They were a little bit scared it was a fluke.” Despite their initial doubts, David Dobrik continued to see growth on YouTube and is now one of the biggest stars on the video-sharing platform, pulling in tens of millions of views on each of his latest uploads. “I think they’re a little more comfortable with it,” Dobrik said adding that his parents were more understanding following his recent success, “They’re like ‘OK, maybe he can support himself.’ I think they’re happy.” He later revealed that one moment that led to his parents easing their concerns a bit was his appearance on popular actress Anna Faris’ Unqualified podcast, who his parents were big fans of at the time, sharing that they had texted him in excitement following the release of the episode. Although Dobrik is currently taking a break from uploading regularly to YouTube due to the ongoing health crisis, the internet star has since shifted his attention to TikTok and is continuing to grow his fanbase with highly entertaining content.

David Dobrik made his YouTube comeback on June 15, after taking a two-month break following backlash over different Vlog Squad controversies, as well as over Jeff Wittek’s excavator accident that almost killed him. While he has over 20 million subscribers on YouTube, his return was met with a mixed response, some happy to see him back, and others saying he should have stayed away from the internet for longer. Now in an interview with paparazzi, David has revealed why he doesn’t want to take part in any future influencer boxing events, even if he’s asked. When asked if he would consider boxing, he responded: “No, I can’t box. I was thinking about it, I wish it was a different sport, I wish there was like tennis because I played tennis in high school, and if there was a YouTube vs. TikTok tennis that’d be a blast.” Kevin Wong asked him who he would fight if he could fight one person, and although he struggled to think of a TikToker, he did joke “Jeff Wittek, I’ll see you in the ring.” He also went on to say that he doesn’t think Austin McBroom contacted him to be a part of the initial YouTubers vs. TikTokers, but explained: “I don’t think anybody can reach out to me and make me do it. I’m such a little wimp, I’ll never be in the ring. Maybe I will, who knows.” While David seems pretty set on not starting a boxing career, it looks like some would like to see him in a similar event to YouTubers vs. TikTokers.

  • David Dobrik explains why he wants therapy amid vlog hiatus – Dexerto

David Dobrik explains why he wants therapy amid vlog hiatus Instagram: daviddobrikDavid Dobrik might be one of the biggest names on YouTube, but he’s taken a lengthy vlogging hiatus throughout 2020, and revealed that he wants to go to therapy to get over his “funk.” David’s vlog throughout 2018 and 2019 became one of the most watched pieces of continuous content on YouTube, with his short-form videos earning him views and subscribers in the millions. That said, with the global health situation that has affected us all in 2020, David took a hiatus from vlogging — and hasn’t posted to his channel in over seven months. While he has spoken about his return to vlogging a couple of times, most recently putting to rest a bizarre rumor that his comeback vlog would be an hour-long special, we don’t know exactly when he plans to get back into the swing of things. By the sounds of it, though, neither does he. During an episode of the VIEWS podcast with comedian friend Jason Nash, David explains that he’s been in a “funk” recently, saying that back when he was vlogging, he would say: “Dude, I can’t stop, because when I stop I won’t be able to start again.” It seems as though David could be concerned that this is the case, too, saying that he “wants to get back into it” but that he’s “not in the right headspace,” revealing that he plans on going to therapy to help him out. “I really want to get a therapist, but they all want to do it on Zoom,” he said. “I understand, but I really, really don’t trust therapists on Zoom.” This definitely won’t be good news for fans who are waiting to see Dobrik upload again, and could spell an even longer hiatus if the star can’t find his rhythm any time soon. Needless to say, David should take all the time he needs to make sure he’s in the right headspace to start creating and uploading content again, even if it means waiting longer.

  • David Dobrik explains why he has to chew gum while talking – Dexerto

David Dobrik explains why he has to chew gum while talking YouTube: GQ[jwplayer smynPnSq]YouTuber David Dobrik doesn’t do anything by halves, and the same goes for his quirks. It turns out the vlogger has a special place in his heart for chewing gum. In an interview with GQ on Wednesday, Dobrik revealed the ten things he can’t live without and one of those things included gum, and not just because he likes it. Dobrik explained that he doesn’t feel like he can talk to people without chewing gum at the same time. He said: “Gum is super important to me, I have a drawer just dedicated to gum. I can’t have conversations with people without chewing gum, like I hate being close to people. Now, I’m a little more lenient on not chewing gum because of the face mask so I don’t feel like I’m spewing my breath at people. “…It’s not that I don’t brush my teeth, I do, but I just like after I brush it you still need something in there that’s still working at the same time you’re talking.” Among David’s list of important things he also added in his Suave kids’ 3-in-1 shampoo, conditioner, and body wash that he still uses, and has used since he was a child. He also broke out his “Elon Musk not a flame-thrower,” describing it as “perfect for when you hate your neighbors,” and his mini remote-control Tesla he got for referring friends to buy a car from the company. Dobrik also admitted to drinking around five liters of water a day, and that he prefers it room temperature or even warm, saying, “if it’s sitting in the garage on a hot day that’s all me, it has my name on it.” Of course, David couldn’t go without passing mention for his assistant Natalie, who retold the story of how they went to a dance together in high school but never actually dated. Natalie recently confirmed that she is dating Vlog Squad member Todd Smith on Dobrik’s Views podcast.

  • David Dobrik explains why he gave up on video game YouTuber dream – Dexerto

David Dobrik explains why he gave up on video game YouTuber dream PAPER, YouTubeYouTube star David Dobrik is best known for his viral vlogs, which chronicle his ridiculous shenanigans with his friend group — but he didn’t ever expect to become a vlogger, in the first place. Dobrik is a massively popular face across social media, boasting over 16 million subscribers on his primary YouTube channel, where he uploads short-form videos of his crazy stunts with the “vlog squad.” His antics have earned him fame throughout the net and has even won him multiple awards in the online entertainment space — but becoming a full-time vlogger hadn’t always been his primary aspiration. During a February 27 video interview with PAPER, Dobrik opened up about his initial hopes for his YouTube career, admitting that he’d first wanted to become a gaming YouTuber. However, the equipment he’d purchased to record his gameplay never ended up working, leading to an entirely different turn in his content creation journey. “I used to watch like, video game YouTubers, and that’s what I wanted to do,” he explained. “I bought the PVR to record my video games, and it never worked, so I never did the whole ‘video game YouTuber’ thing.” That’s not all; according to the vlogger, he’s actually thankful his equipment never worked, expressing gratitude that he eventually transitioned into his current role in the YouTube space instead of grinding the video game life. “Thank goodness it didn’t work,” he continued. “I like this a lot better. This is a lot more fun.” In fact, it seems that “fun” is a central tenant for Dobrik’s content, which he described as “just a group of friends trying to find out how to have fun in new ways.” (Topic begins at 2:00 for mobile readers) Dobrik’s own prominence on YouTube rivals many of the top gamers on the site, such as Felix ‘PewDiePie’ Kjellberg, Mark ‘Markiplier’ Fishbach, and Seán ‘Jacksepticeye’ McLoughlin, all of whom boast millions of subscribers and massive, long-time fanbases. Despite this turn of interest, YouTube’s king of vloggers has seen huge success, anyhow, rising to the top of the website to rival iconic names like Mr Beast and Casey Neistat.

  • David Dobrik explains why he can’t leave the USA – Dexerto

David Dobrik explains why he can’t leave the USA YouTube star David Dobrik has opened up about a number of personal topics in a fresh Q&A session with fans, explaining the reason why he’s not allowed to leave the USA. Dobrik has been the man of the hour in the YouTube world, arguably one of the platform’s biggest creators throughout 2019 with his high-energy hijinks and a manic group of friends, known as the Vlog Squad, building off the back of each other’s success. But, the 23-year-old likely owes much of his success to his move to America when he was six years old. Originally headed to Chicago, Illinois, from small European country Slovakia, Dobrik later ventured out to the sunny heights of Los Angeles, California to find success on Vine and YouTube. In a video with GQ – published on November 12 – Dobrik went undercover on Reddit, Twitter, YouTube, and Instagram to answer fans’ questions and talk a little about his life currently. Among questions about his smile, rumors that he is dating his assistant Natalie and how he met child acting star Josh Peck, Dobrik also spoke about why he’s not allowed to leave America – and the consequences if he does. “I can’t leave because I’m protected by DACA and basically I can leave, I can go right now but I can’t come back. I can’t re-enter the country for, like, another 10 years if I leave the country. So I’m not a citizen. I don’t have a visa.” (Timestamp 4:50 for mobile users) Following up, Dobrik continued: “The only thing I can do where I can leave the country and come back is if I get married. But Natalie and I are not engaged so that’s not happening anytime soon, but who knows fingers crossed.” As is common with a lot of countries’ immigration laws, marrying a legal citizen is one way that you can get a visa to live in the United States. However, Dobrik doesn’t have to worry about that right now, with DACA (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals) providing him legal residence and a work permit as he was brought to the country as a child, not an adult. Interestingly, Dobrik married his best friend Jason Nash’s mother, Lorraine, earlier in the year as part of a prank, so there was definitely an opportunity for him to obtain legal status. Based on this video, though, we would guess that he did not take advantage of that opportunity. It’s unlikely that David Dobrik will ever need to leave the United States, given the insane success he is seeing on YouTube – but it would make sense that he might seek out the luxury to move freely around the world at some point. Having later responded to the rumors running riot that he is dating his assistant, Natalie Noel (spoiler: they’re still just friends), it seems citizenship-by-marriage may not be in Dobrik’s immediate future.

  • David Dobrik explains his side of life-threatening Jeff Wittek vlog accident – Dexerto

David Dobrik explains his side of life-threatening Jeff Wittek vlog accident YouTube: Jeff WittekIn episode four of Jeff Wittek’s documentary about his life-threatening accident, David Dobrik shared the difficulties of navigating the aftermath of the shocking event. The Vlog Squad have become known for their crazy antics and often risky stunts, but the internet was shocked in April when YouTuber Jeff Wittek revealed the events that lead up to a severe eye injury, and that almost cost him his life. The group had put an excavator in a lake, and David Dobrik sat in the driver’s seat, spinning his friends around the machine. Things quickly went wrong when Jeff took his turn however, after spinning around such great speeds caused him to collide with the machine. Doctors revealed that had Jeff’s eye injury occurred a few inches over, he could have split his eye in half, or even died. Many fans were furious with David, calling his actions “irresponsible.” In later episodes, Jeff went on to say that seeing the star all over the internet following the accident, “made me resent him. It made me resent seeing his face. It made me not want to go online.” Despite having been quiet online since the Vlog Squad sexual assault scandal, David has appeared at points in the documentary to talk about the incident. In episode four, released on April 30, the YouTuber spoke more in-depth about dealing with the aftermath of the accident. “Obviously I’ve never been in a situation like this, neither has Jeff, neither have probably any of us,” he said. “I didn’t know the correct way to go about any of it. Especially Jeff’s such a tough guy, so you don’t know if you have to be there to f**king baby him or if that pisses him off.” (For mobile users, topic starts at 1:33) David continued: “I didn’t know how to navigate that properly, how to reach out to him in a way that doesn’t make him feel like I’m reaching out just to check on him cause he’s injured. It’s a little awkward for both of us, it’s not something you can just sit down with a person once and be like, ‘okay cool, it’s over.’” The episode went on to show the pair jump out a plane as a way to resolve things, with Jeff saying “I don’t want a f**king car, I don’t want money, I want you to risk your life, and you not be in control for once.” People have been flooding Jeff with love and support as he continues to release the episodes that show a candid insight into the incident. It’s not clear when David’s segments were filmed, but the vlogger hasn’t been active online since he was dropped by several major sponsors and demonetized on YouTube following the Vlog Squad scandal.

  • David Dobrik explains bizarre time he and his teacher met Chief Keef – Dexerto

David Dobrik explains bizarre time he and his teacher met Chief Keef Instagram: shelbyandsandyDavid Dobrik has revealed that he once took his high school English teacher to meet Chief Keef, in what might be one of the strangest stories you’ll hear. [jwplayer h3XPfMqQ] David Dobrik is arguably one of the biggest stars on YouTube, even despite having not uploaded for several months throughout 2020. His viral short-form content has garnered him a lot of fans and a standing among even big celebrities, too, having made videos with the likes of Kylie Jenner and Justin Bieber in the past. While this may seem like a cool life to be living, David still manages to stay grounded — and has proven it by discussing the time he brought his high school English teacher along with him to meet popular Chicago rapper Chief Keef. During an episode of Dobrik’s VIEWS podcast with Jason Nash, he had his former teacher, Jeff Killinger, on as a guest, and they quickly got on to discussing the time David took him to meet the star behind tracks such as “Love Sosa” and “I Don’t Like.” “I was kind of nervous…” Dobrik said, stating that he wasn’t sure he was “tough enough” to meet Keef. “I asked Killinger to come with me to Chief Keef’s house, like, just as protection so I feel safe.” If it isn’t weird enough that Dobrik asked one of his high school teachers to join him in meeting Keef, Killinger explained how he and his wife had to try and make small talk with one of the rapper’s entourage while David was working — and it sounds like it was an incredibly awkward encounter, as they asked if he, too was from Chicago, or a rapper, but failed to get much dialogue going with him. Topic starts at 27:12 Obviously David has continued to have a very positive relationship with his old teacher despite leaving high school several years ago, but even so, this is definitely not a scenario most people could imagine finding themselves in. That said, it must be pretty cool for Killinger to see one of his former pupils finding so much success, and even better to be taken along for the ride, too.

  • David Dobrik drops hilarious vlog surprising fans with Justin Bieber – Dexerto

David Dobrik drops hilarious vlog surprising fans with Justin Bieber YouTube star David Dobrik has finally released his highly-anticipated vlog featuring Canadian pop star Justin Bieber, after the two were spotted outside of UCLA together on January 9. What many viewers anticipated to be another one of Dobrik’s “Surprising Fans With Celebrities” videos has come to fruition at last, with the vlogger hiding Bieber in the back of his Tesla as he invited college students to share their opinions of the singer. Bieber, coming off the fresh release of his 2020 single, “Yummy,” is the latest celebrity to make an appearance in Dobrik’s videos, following the likes of Kardashian makeup mogul Kylie Jenner and even Howie Mandell. https://twitter.com/deedobr/status/1215422808366440449?s=20 More than a few hilarious moments were had in his January vlog with Dobrik, with one fan even admitting that she had a crush on the singer and was jealous of his wife, Hailey Rhode. “Oh, I love him, I wanted to marry him, honestly,” the student admitted. “I’m sad. I’m obviously sad about Hailey, but it’s okay, though.” “You are?” Bieber asked, emerging from the Tesla’s back seat and giving the student the shock of her life. “I’m actually gonna s**t myself right now!” she exclaimed. Although there was plenty of laughter all around, one fan got highly emotional during Dobrik’s impromptu meet-and-greet, tearfully admitting her admiration for Bieber as he wrapped her in a tight embrace. “I’ve looked up to you so much,” she explained through tears. Another fan even claimed that “Yummy” was “not that good” — prompting faux outrage from the singer as he jokingly put them into a headlock. Dobrik’s vlog follows ample online speculation that he and Bieber were collaborating, with multiple photos and videos of the duo dropping on social media outside of the vlogger’s Tesla at the University of California, Los Angeles. • David Dobrik drops hilarious hint at possible Chris Rock YouTube collab – Dexerto

David Dobrik drops hilarious hint at possible Chris Rock YouTube collab Chris Rock/David DobrikYouTube star David Dobrik was joined by actor Chris Rock for a hilarious short video that might be a hint at an upcoming collaboration between the two. Dobrik is one of the most successful YouTubers on the platform with more than 17 million subscribers tuning in to watch his videos. Rock might actually have Dobrik beat in the fame department though, as he’s starred in tons of successful movies over the last three decades. Now it seems the two are getting ready to team up for something… On Sunday, June 21, Dobrik posted a video of him watching Madagascar – one of the film series Rock stars in – but with a star-studded twist. After showing a shot of the video, the YouTuber turned his camera around to reveal that he was actually watching Madagascar with Chris Rock himself, who dutifully recited some of his lines along with the movie. This makes me so happy @chrisrock pic.twitter.com/Iin4tUQZAk — DAVID DOBRIK (@DavidDobrik) June 21, 2020 Dobrik looked absolutely giddy as the Hollywood icon rattled off his lines, and why wouldn’t he? It’s not every day you get to watch a movie with one of the people who stars in it. But besides being a nice glimpse at two entertainers hanging out and chilling, some think the clip might be hinting at a possible upcoming collaboration between the two. Seeing as Rock was apparently over at Dobrik’s house, and not the other way around, it seems fairly likely that the actor will be appearing alongside the YouTuber in an upcoming video. Dobrik has been on a semi-hiatus from publishing any YouTube content for the last month, but it definitely seems like he’s planning on making a return soon, and in a big way. Exactly what the pair will get up to, or when a video could come out, remains unknown. But at least it sure does seem like he will be back on the YT grind soon. If not, at least he had a great time watching Madagascar.

  • David Dobrik doubles down on why he won’t fight Jeff Wittek at Social Gloves event – Dexerto

David Dobrik doubles down on why he won’t fight Jeff Wittek at Social Gloves event YouTube: ViewsDavid Dobrik has doubled down on whether or not he wants to take part in an influencer boxing event, and why the idea of fighting Jeff Wittek wouldn’t make him want to do it. In June 2021, Austin McBroom’s Social Gloves ‘YouTubers vs TikTokers’ boxing event saw McBroom win against fellow TikToker Bryce Hall. However, it also saw McBroom lose $3,000,000 in a lawsuit settlement after influencers in the event claimed they were never paid. Fast-forwarding to June 2022, we’re about to see McBroom back in the ring on July 30 — this time with AnEsonGib. The Daily Stardust recently asked David Dobrik if he planned on jumping in the ring, and if fighting Jeff Wittek would help influence his decision. David Dobrik on fighting Jeff Wittek On June 12, Dobrik told The Daily Stardust that he would not be fighting in the upcoming Social Gloves event, where Ace Family’s Austin McBroom is set to fight AnEsonGib on the main card. David was then asked whether or not he would do it if Jeff Wittek were his opponent. “Jeff would whoop my ass, I’m not fighting anyone but thank you,” the YouTuber explained. For those wondering why the YouTuber was asked about fighting Wittek, the former Vlog Squad member is suing Dobrik after an incident that nearly caused Jeff to lose an eye. This isn’t the first time David has explained that he doesn’t want to participate in an influencer boxing event either. Back in June 2021, he told paparazzi: “No, I can’t box. I was thinking about it, I wish it was a different sport, I wish there was like tennis because I played tennis in high school, and if there was a YouTube vs. TikTok tennis that’d be a blast.” Either way, it’s clear that Dobrik isn’t going to jump into the ring anytime soon — but maybe we’ll see the Vlog Squad founder create his own event in the future.

  • David Dobrik gives damning prediction of Tana Mongeau and Jake Paul’s relationship – Dexerto

David Dobrik gives damning prediction of Tana Mongeau and Jake Paul’s relationship David Dobrik/Jake PaulPopular YouTuber David Dobrik has said he doesn’t think Tana Mongeau and Jake Paul are in their relationship for the long haul. Known for his crazy pranks and stunts, Dobrik boasts over 13 million subscribers on YouTube and is slated to host the 2019 Teen’s Choice Awards alongside actress Lucy Hale of ‘Pretty Little Liars’ fame. While at Variety’s Power of Young Hollywood event on August 7, Dobrik shared his thoughts about Paul and Mongeau’s relationship with Entertainment Tonight. What did Dobrik have to say? When ET’s Katie Krause asked Dobrik if he thought the YouTube power couple’s relationship would be a “forever thing”, he simply replied “Of course not.” “Tana and Jake? I would be surprised if their marriage lasts another three days,” the YouTuber said, before recalling his marriage to Lorraine Nash, which only lasted a month. “We ended on good terms, I don’t know if Tana and Jake have that in them.” “I think they’re just too young, and too crazy to stay with each other,” Dobrik explained. “I think they’re both lunatics – in a good way – and they won’t be able to handle each other. The YouTuber also isn’t convinced that the pair’s wedding was even legit. “Is the marriage real? No,” Dobrik replied with a laugh. “I think someone looked it up and they didn’t have marriage papers.” “It doesn’t matter because at the end of the day it’s so entertaining, and the fact you’re even talking about means they got the job done,” he added. “So, they’re killing it.” Timestamp @ 1:20 for mobile viewers. So… did Jake and Tana actually get married? To make a long story short: kind of. They went through the motions and had a full ceremony, but Mongeau herself admitted that her union with Paul was not legally binding due to finding such legalities “unnecessary.” “To everybody that’s calling it fake because we rushed into it or because I don’t do things traditionally, because I wanted to not do it legally,” she said in a video about the wedding. “Any wedding I have, if I have three more fucking weddings, I really wouldn’t want to do it on paper because I think that legally binding yourself to someone takes away the love.” So it seems like Dobrik was partly correct about Tana and Jake’s wedding not being 100 percent official, but whether his prediction that the couple won’t last much longer is accurate remains to be seen.

  • David Dobrik creeps out everyone with his bizarre morning routine – Dexerto

David Dobrik creeps out everyone with his bizarre morning routine Instagram: daviddobrikDavid Dobrik has shared what his morning routine generally looks like with fans – and it may be one of the weirdest things anybody has ever heard. Dobrik appeared in a video with Vanity Fair called “Everything David Dobrik does in a day,” in which he goes through his entire daily routine in excruciating detail. It might have been a bit too much detail, though, as his explanation of his morning routine makes him sound, in his own words, “like a psycho.” Taking viewers through a chronological order of events, Dobrik says he wakes up about 9am, which is standard enough. However, he reveals that he actually sets an alarm every 20 minutes from 6am because it makes him “feel like he’s sleeping for longer.” Slightly odd, but there’s some rationale to it. It gets weirder, though, as he describes his day post-getting up. He gets up and goes to the bathroom, and explains what goes on in there. “I take a shower every morning. I brush my teeth in the shower, I shave, I do everything in the shower because I hate doing stuff in the sink. I use kids shampoo, I’ve been using it for as long as I can remember.” It’s what Dobrik does after this, though, that has got people talking. “After every shower I have, I open my mouth and let the water pour in and turn the shower off. Then, when I hear the final drop, I spit the water into my hand and drop it on the ground, and I’m hoping that it’s louder than the last pieces of water that fell out of the shower.” If this wasn’t quirky enough, he says there’s one last curious thing about his morning routine. After getting out of the shower, he puts his toothbrush and toothpaste away, but says he throws his toothbrush and if it lands in the cup, it’s “going to be a good day.” This is quite similar to the kind of superstitions sportsmen have at game time, with many feeling like they have to do something particular before every match otherwise it won’t go well. For the most part, the rest of Dobrik’s day sounds fairly normal – or at least as normal as a multimillionaire vlogger’s life could be, with most of it focused around his work. As far as morning routines go, you’re unlikely to find many people as precise or kooky as David Dobrik. That said, there’s got to be a method behind the madness, as his success in recent years speaks for itself. Maybe we all need to take a leaf from his book.

  • David Dobrik creates foam explosion in “world record” experiment – Dexerto

David Dobrik creates foam explosion in “world record” experiment YouTube star David Dobrik has partnered with Nick Uhas to break the world record for the biggest Elephant’s Toothpaste science experiment, foaming up his entire backyard. David Dobrik doesn’t do things by halves. The vlogging superstar has broken out over the last couple of years to become one of YouTube’s biggest content creators, showing off his extravagant lifestyle to 15 million subscribers. He’s also got a bit of competitive fight in him. So when other YouTubers came along to try and snatch his title of the biggest Elephant Toothpaste experiment in the world, Dobrik put all the doubters to rest. With the help of scientist Nick Uhas, David Dobrik managed to pull off the world’s biggest Elephant Toothpaste experiement with almost 200 cubic meters of foam spilling over his backyard. 625 litres of Hydrogen Peroxide, 29 bottles of soap, dozens of blue food coloring bottles, and kilograms of Potassium Iodide was all it took for the back streets of LA to turn into a tide of blue. As the experiment all came together, with everyone kitted up, Uhas and Dobrik tipped the catalyst into the reactant, and chaos ensued. “Oh my god, oh my god, holy sh*t,” Dobrik yelled, running away from the blue wave taking over his yard. The foam spilled well out of the yard, catapulting down the hillside, and even flying away into the distance. For mobile readers, the related segment starts at 3:01. The 625 litres of 35% Hydrogen Peroxide they used was almost double Mark Rober’s attempt in August which generated 54 cubic meters of foam, with a stronger catalyst in Potassium Iodide. This attempt was also three times as large as their experiment in September, which made around 67 cubic meters. They weren’t looking to just break the world record, but absolutely smash it. The science behind the experiment is pretty simple. The catalyst strips an oxygen atom off the Hydrogen Peroxide, leading to gas being formed and getting caught in the soap. The gas looks to rise, and with the chemical reaction taking place so fast, it expands everywhere. There was a downside though. The walls of Dobrik’s house were stained blue thanks to the catalyst, and it’ll take months of cleaning to get it back to normal. However, there’s no doubt what Dobrik and Uhas has created is now by far the biggest Elephant Toothpaste experiment on YouTube, taking home the world record at the same time.

  • David Dobrik could be working with Johnny Depp’s lawyers for Jeff Wittek case – Dexerto

David Dobrik could be working with Johnny Depp’s lawyers for Jeff Wittek case YouTube: David Dobrik/TODAYFans think David Dobrik might be working with Johnny Depp’s lawyers for his upcoming legal tryst with Jeff Wittek, after unearthing a clip that sees them mention the YouTuber. In recent years, Dobrik has come under fire for several situations. First, he was accused of enabling his friend Durte Dom, who was accused of sexual assault against a girl that appeared in one of Dobrik’s vlogs. Then, a few months later, he caused near-fatal injuries to his friend Jeff Wittek after swinging him on a crane, which caused a huge rift between the two — so much so, that Wittek is now suing Dobrik for the incident. While it has only just been revealed that Wittek is suing, the process will have been ongoing for some time now, and it looks like Dobrik might be recruiting some of Hollywood’s biggest lawyers to handle his case. Johnny Depp’s representatives in his globally-viewed case against Amber Heard became stars themselves throughout the process, with Ben Chew and Camille Vasquez becoming household names for anyone paying attention. Now, it looks like they might be swapping the silver screen for the YouTube scene, if this clip is anything to go by. After wrapping up their case with Depp and Heard, Chew can be heard telling Vasquez that he “had a great talk with David Dobrik today,” suggesting that they could be representing him in the future. Click here if TikTok doesn’t load This doesn’t mean with 100% certainty that they will be representing Dobrik in the Wittek case, but fans believe it is pointing that way unless there are other ongoing legal issues with Dobrik that are as yet unstated. It goes without saying that Chew and Vasquez are definitely good lawyers to have on your side given how the Depp vs Heard case went — but would they help Dobrik achieve the same result?

David Dobrik is considering quitting vlogging: “I did what I wanted to do” YouTube: David DobrikDavid Dobrik is considering quitting vlogging, explaining that he feels like he’s done everything he’s wanted to do and wants to try something new, although he isn’t sure what that is yet. Dobrik is one of the most popular vloggers on YouTube, with more than 18 million subscribers on his main channel. But although it’s his main source of content creation, he believes it’s nearly time to put down the camera. He opened up about it during an episode of the VIEWS podcast and admitted that he feels like he’s done everything he’s wanted to do with the vlogs. For that reason, it could be time to move on. “I think I did what I wanted to do with the vlogs,” said Dobrik. “It’s like when a late-night show host is about to quit, and he’s like I’ve done everything I wanted to do here. I did it. I had fun. I’ve got to do something else. “That’s how I feel about the vlog… I just want to try something new. I’m like 25, and like when the f**k am I going to stop vlogging? Like, when does the next thing happen? Am I just going to vlog for the rest of my life?” Dobrik also mentioned that his love for his vlog collection is also one of the reasons he wants to quit, and he explained why. However, he wants to see what fans say before deciding. Either way, he’s adamant that whatever he does next will be a success: “If I’m creating something I love, I don’t see why I wouldn’t like it right.”

While Howie Mandel is best known for having hosted such shows as America’s Got Talent and Deal or no Deal, he’s also delving into the world of online entertainment, even making his own TikTok account. Mandel’s normal repertoire of humorous videos and dance duets were interrupted by a few TikToks that prompted concern among his fans — especially after TikToker ‘baliyadi’ pointed out some “hidden messages” in his videos in her seven-part series on the subject. The rumors became so pronounced that they even caught the attention of YouTube star David Dobrik, who commented on one of Mandel’s TikToks, asking him to reach out and even speculating that his phone had been hacked. “Howie, I think your phone’s been hacked, you’re sending me some scary stuff,” Dobrik wrote. “Please reach out to me or Natalie.” With Dobrik and Mandel being pals in real life, the YouTuber made an appearance at the TV host’s private home to check up on his friend, who seemed to be confused as to why fans were worried about him. “I don’t understand why they’re worried!” Mandel shouted in a video posted to Dobrik’s TikTok profile, covered in a plastic shield and surgical gloves. “‘Cause your TikToks — they’re weird,” Dobrik replied. “Weird? I’m 65!” Mandel humorously shot back. “I’m on TikTok! That’s weird! …I’m okay! Nobody’s holding me [hostage]. I can go wherever I want!” Madel further confirmed that he was in no danger during a subsequent duet with Dobrik’s video via TikTok, mouthing, “I’m okay” and giving the camera a thumbs up (while simultaneously rolling his eyes at Dobrik’s jokes). Mandel is known for his mysophobia, or irrational fear of germs, which could account for his body shield and gloves — but considering the current global climate, his extra health precautions certainly don’t look too out of place these days.

  • David Dobrik confronts drunk trespasser in his backyard – Dexerto

David Dobrik confronts drunk trespasser in his backyard David Dobrik, YouTube / TikTokYouTube star David Dobrik was met with an uncomfortable situation on May 9, after a seemingly inebriated stranger wandered into his backyard — leaving both Dobrik and his crew visibly uncomfortable. As one of the net’s most popular content creators, it comes as little surprise that Dobrik deals with the occasional breach of privacy from overenthusiastic fans or paparazzi digging for info about his relationship status. However, his private estate was trespassed upon by a stranger on May 9, as evidenced by a viral TikTok the social media celebrity posted that documented the awkward encounter. In his video, Dobrik opens up a sliding glass door leading to his backyard, showing a stumbling, seemingly drunken stranger without a shirt wandering around the space. “Hi hello, just checking your area out,” the trespasser can be heard saying after Dobrik greeted him. “You got some good fresh air, a good yard …um, do you guys have anything to drink, by any chance?” “Yeah, but you’re in our backyard,” the YouTuber incredulously replied. “Okay, I’m sorry,” the stranger apologized. “I’m gonna go back… my shirt’s along the back, there. I have a blue flannel…” “Oh yeah, go grab it,” Dobrik said before returning to the house — along with the shocked and uneasy expression of his assistant, Natalie, who mouthed, “What the f**k?” The vlogging star went on to explain that the man had even waved at one of his assistants as if he knew him, further adding to the incredulity of an already awkward scenario. While Dobrik was obviously taken aback by the stranger, he has yet to speak further about their encounter, and has since updated his TikTok profile with various videos of other, unrelated shenanigans from past outings and videos. Dobrik is far from the first YouTuber to have dealt with trespassers; in fact, YouTube king PewDiePie has repeatedly begged his audience for privacy, even revealing that parents would bring their children to his house after his home address was leaked online. Needless to say, it’s never okay to invade anyone’s personal space or property — but it looks like Dobrik had the situation well under control.

  • David Dobrik confirms YouTube vlog return in Jimmy Fallon appearance – Dexerto

David Dobrik confirms YouTube vlog return in Jimmy Fallon appearance Instagram: daviddobrikYouTube sensation David Dobrik has confirmed when he will be returning to making videos on the platform during his appearance on the Jimmy Fallon’s Tonight Show. With most of the world currently in lockdown due to the ongoing global health crisis, many have found themselves unable to keep up with their usual daily antics. This couldn’t ring more true for David Dobrik, whose YouTube vlogs are often based around himself and his friends hanging out around Los Angeles, meeting strangers and just generally being extremely sociable. As a result, Dobrik has had to put his vlogs on the back burner for now and, at the time of writing, has uploaded just one video to his main channel since March 11. This is something Jimmy Fallon brought up when interviewing Dobrik, and we got our first inkling yet of when he will be bringing the vlogs back. While explaining how he hasn’t wanted to post “watered-down” versions of his vlog, Dobrik confirmed that he has set himself a timeline for when he will start posting again. “I actually set a goal for myself,” he told Fallon. “There’s a bar down the street that we always go to and, once it’s reopened at full capacity, I will start making videos again.” Fans of Dobrik’s will assume – and seemingly is confirmed later by Fallon himself – that the bar is Saddle Ranch, where he and his friends regularly hang out and is the backdrop for many of their videos. (Timestamp 5:07) This will be good news for Dobrik fans, who can at least now keep an eye out for when they should expect a notification to pop up from YouTube to say that he’s uploaded again. That said, it’s not easy to predict when this is going to occur, so it could be a matter of days or a matter of months before we see David posting regularly once again.

  • David Dobrik comes under fire after claiming he “hates nature” – Dexerto

David Dobrik comes under fire after claiming he “hates nature” YouTube: New Views Podcast HighlightsYouTube star David Dobrik might be known for his charitable giveaways and wholesome content, but he’s coming under fire from critics after claiming he’s not a huge fan of being out in mother nature. [jwplayer mgzBNoPb] For those out of the loop, David Dobrik is one of YouTube’s most popular content creators, best known for giving away huge amounts of cash to fans and those in need (as well as holding contests with such prizes as Teslas). Despite David’s philanthropic nature, it seems that the vlogger is coming under fire from commenters online, who are upset at a statement he made during an episode of his ‘VIEWS’ podcast with fellow YouTuber Jason Nash. In the episode, Dobrik goes on a long spiel about why he “hates nature,” explaining that roughing it in the outdoors just isn’t for him. https://www.instagram.com/p/CBmRLJtAX5r/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link “I cannot describe to you how much I f***ing hate nature,” Dobrik began. “I never knew I could be so angry at something. I was hiking in the mountains, and everybody I saw, I was just getting angry at. I was like, ‘Why are you here?’ I was so mad!” “It feels so wrong, because everybody loves nature,” he continued. “…what is so cool about something that’s been there… for millions of years! What is so cool about that? …it feels like everything I’ve worked for has been erased. I’m stuck with the dirt and the grass and the leaves.” (Topic begins at 4:20) Unsurprisingly, Dobrik was promptly assailed by angry commenters who took issue with his opinions on the world around him — more specifically, on his “annoyed” attitude about something as mundane as nature. “I don’t justify it, but now I understand the hate that you get for being so closed-minded and kind of a d**k to your friends or the planet,” one listener wrote. “I know that you have done great things like charities and donations. But DUDE, grow up a bit, you live in a bubble.” “I thought David was cool until he said he doesn’t appreciate nature,” another chimed in. “Like what?” While this is far from the first time Dobrik has faced backlash from his fanbase, it seems that his attitude in his recent podcast episodes are starting to turn some listeners off from the fandom.

  • David Dobrik clears up rumors that he “rejected” Madison Beer – Dexerto

David Dobrik clears up rumors that he “rejected” Madison Beer YouTube: VIEWSYouTuber David Dobrik has cleared up the long-running joke that he “rejected” singer Madison Beer, after inviting her onto the VIEWS podcast, saying that they “just never dated.” [jwplayer pNjHVqy4] 24-year-old David Dobrik is one of the most popular vloggers on YouTuber, boasting a subscriber base of over 18 million on his main channel alone. However, he’s recently been turning his attention to other platforms and styles of content, having not uploaded on his main YouTube channel in 9 months. Instead, one of his primary forms of content is the VIEWS podcast with Jason Nash, where they invite various guests on to talk about topical stories surrounding their lives and careers. This time, David and Jason invited singer Madison Beer onto the podcast to talk about her upcoming album, but the conversation of course turning to the ongoing jokes about David supposedly ‘rejecting’ the star. David has consistently been caught up in dating rumors with various female stars over the years, including Corinna Kopf, and even his own assistant Natalie, but the YouTuber revealed that the rumor about him ‘rejecting’ Madison is one that fans just won’t let go. Madison brought up the rejection theory and told David to address it, saying, “I’m not even gonna speak, I’m gonna let him take the floor with this and just see where he goes.” The YouTuber began to explain, “I was saying this to Jason before, I hate the whole rejection thing. Like I hate that people are like, ‘this is the girl who David rejected,’” adding that the better Madison looks in a photo, the more comments there are about the supposed rejection. Topic starts at 9:50 After the singer claimed that David didn’t seem keen on the idea of them dating when Jason brought it up in a previous podcast, the YouTuber firmly denied this, saying, “I’ve always been like, down…” When Madison asked him, “have you ever rejected me?” David replied with a firm, “no” followed by a questionable look to the camera. Shortly after he went on to say, “I never rejected you. We just never dated, that’s it. That’s the only story.” While David seems to have put to bed the rumors that he ever rejected Madison, there’s a good chance that the jokes about the pair will continue in their Instagram comments — and a relationship could still be on the cards.

David Dobrik caught stealing from Athens Acropolis in first Discovery+ episode YouTube: David Dobrik/Acropolis of AthensDavid Dobrik and his crew visited the Acropolis of Athens, Greece on his new Discovery+ series “Discovering David Dobrik.” During the trip, the YouTuber and his crew were caught attempting to steal rocks from the monument. After Slovakia native David Dobrik moved to Chicago at six years old, he was protected by DACA—Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals—until he was able to obtain his green card to permanently live in the United States. If he were to travel before he obtained his green card, the US would not allow him back into the country for 10 years. In September, he revealed that he was finally able to leave the country and also announced his new Discovery+ TV series titled “Discovering David Dobrik.” The show officially premiered on November 16, and in it, the crew is seen stealing rocks from a monument in ancient Greece. David Dobrik caught stealing In a video from Def Noodles, the Vlog Squad crew can be seen exploring “The Odeion of Herodes Atticus,” which is an ancient Roman theater built within the Acropolis of Athens, Greece—located southwest of the current-day city. Turning to another member of the crew, David asked: “Is it illegal to take rocks from here?” His question is quickly answered as the Vlog Squad member explained that it actually is illegal because the area they were in has been searched by historians for decades. After another man in their group claims he can get away with it because he’s Greek, Dobrik puts the rock in his pocket. • David Dobrik allegedly cancels secret Hawaii trip after Vlog Squad comeback leaks – Dexerto

David Dobrik allegedly cancels secret Hawaii trip after Vlog Squad comeback leaks Instagram: DavidDobrik / Unsplash Sean.OWhile David Dobrik appeared to have plans in motion for a secretive shoot in Hawaii to kick off a YouTube comeback, the potential Vlog Squad reunion has reportedly now been called off. When allegations began piling up around Dobrik and various members of his YouTube crew, it wasn’t long until the former YouTube star disappeared from the internet entirely. Following a second apology video on March 23, all of his channels were demonetized, thousands of fans fled, and Dobrik announced a “short break” from social media. Two months later – after further controversies came to light – Dobrik was reportedly “back,” as Instagram insider ‘deuxmoi’ suggested. A Vlog Squad reunion of sorts appeared to be in the works: Dobrik was set to host a Honolulu getaway to film multiple videos that would launch as part of a 2022 comeback. However, this trip no longer seems to be in the cards. Despite no official confirmation from Dobrik or any remaining members of the Vlog Squad, deuxmoi unveiled their alleged plans in a May 25 post. It’s this leaked intel that supposedly got the entire thing called off. “What happened with the [Dobrik] trip?” an Instagram user asked the popular social media leaks account. “David took the [Vlog Squad] to Hawaii? No one has posted anything about that.” It turns out that this very leak “made them push/cancel,” according to deuxmoi. There’s no telling exactly what the crew had planned, though any form of content to be filmed during the tropical getaway has now been shelved, according to the post. It’s unclear how this may impact Dobrik’s intended 2022 return to the spotlight. There’s every chance the controversial figure records content with the Vlog Squad locally, but for the time being, nothing is set in stone. Read More: How does Ninja make money? – Should the timeline hold true, Dobrik will be back on YouTube after a 10-month break. However, Corinna Kopf recently suggested his return could come as early as June, with Dobrik potentially resuming his VIEWS podcast soon.

  • David Dobrik calls police after “scary” stalker keys his assistant’s car – Dexerto

David Dobrik calls police after “scary” stalker keys his assistant’s car YouTube / Instagram: David DobrikYouTube star David Dobrik is one of the internet’s most famous content creators — but living in the limelight isn’t always a cake walk, as he discovered after one of his viewers began stalking his home. [jwplayer mgzBNoPb] Boasting well over 18 million subscribers on YouTube, it comes as little surprise that Dobrik receives the occasional unwanted visitor at his house, which has happened several times before. However, this latest incident took a dark turn, as revealed during an episode of Dobrik and Jason Nash’s ‘VIEWS’ podcast in early October where the star revealed one viewer took things a little too far. During the episode, Dobrik explained that the fan — a young woman in her “early twenties” — had sat outside of his home on the street curb for two days before banging on the door, yelling his name. After Dobrik went outside to investigate, he reported that the viewer suffered from appeared to be a “panic attack” and quickly shouted “Nevermind, you can’t help me,” before “storming” out of his driveway. Understandably concerned, Dobrik and company followed the woman, to no avail — but a day later, a neighbor texted the YouTuber that someone had keyed his assistant, Natalie’s, Ford Bronco. The vehicle (pictured below) was etched with symbols, according to Dobrik, which included his name written in odd lettering. https://www.instagram.com/p/B5WU4wLA2kd/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link Upon investigating the car, David found that the woman was nearby, claiming she wanted to “apologize” — but quickly became what he described as “scary,” prompting him to call law enforcement for help in case things got sticky. Luckily, the star was adamant that he didn’t want to “get her in trouble” but instead wanted her to “get help,” to which she agreed. While waiting on the police to arrive, Dobrik asked the woman why she’d stalked him, to which she replied: “He told me to just go for it.” As for who “he” was? Dobrik claimed she said it was “the guy inside my head,” who told her that “if I came here, everything would be answered.” Thankfully, the police were “super f**king nice” when they arrived and took the woman to a hospital, prompting a hilarious chat with an officer who advised Dobrik to change his name on social media — something he replied he was a “little late” for. While this is far from the first time an internet celebrity has been outright stalked, it’s good to know that this situation ended peacefully, with Dobrik understanding that his stalker didn’t have bad intentions, but merely needed help.

  • David Dobrik brings friend to tears with new Lamborginhi supercar gift – Dexerto

David Dobrik brings friend to tears with new Lamborginhi supercar gift YouTube: David DobrikYouTube star David Dobrik reduced one of his best friends, Heath Hussar, to tears by surprising him with an extravagant gift – a brand new Lamborghini Huracán. Dobrik, one of the best known YouTube vloggers with over 13 million subscribers, partnered with EA to promote the launch of the new Need For Speed game ‘Heat’. The Huracán is not Lamborghini’s flagship model (that would be the Aventador), but it’s still a mightily expensive vehicle – even the ‘low-end’ spec version will set you back over $200,000. Heath Hussar, a YouTuber himself with almost 2 million subscribers, is one of the original members of Dobrik’s “vlog cast” crew, and was the lucky man whom he gifted the Lambo. On August 20, David uploaded a touching video, revealing the gift to other friends first, who were all pretty envious, before finally unveiling the supercar, complete with a big red bow, to Hussar. Upon first sight, Heath didn’t believe it was real, but as it dawned on him that this wasn’t some elaborate prank, broke down in tears. The video racked up a ridiculous five million views in under 15 hours, and fans seemed satisfied that Heath was chosen for the gift, which appears to be an early wedding present. David Dobrik too was emotional and said on Twitter that he couldn’t stop crying, where Heath thanked him again “from the bottom of my heart.” Thank you from the bottom of my heart Dave:heart:️ this is absolutely unreal https://t.co/4nKCJbIdN6 — Heath Hussar (@HeathHussar) August 21, 2019 Heath is a fan favorite among Dobrik’s vlog squad crew, and viewers were overjoyed that he’d been the lucky recipient. “If I got a Lamborghini, I would cry. But seeing Heath get a Lamborghini makes me cry so much more,” one fan commented. “Heath was the most deserving of this car from the vlog squad! So happy for him,” another wrote. And there is also a gift for lucky fans too, as part of his sponsorship with EA, 10 users who Tweet Dobrik an image of their customized cars from the Need For Speed Heat Studio app will be picked, and will get a chance to facetime the YouTuber.

  • David Dobrik breaks silence over Vlog Squad controversies: “I’m sorry” – Dexerto

David Dobrik breaks silence over Vlog Squad controversies: “I’m sorry” YouTube: VIEWSDavid Dobrik has broken his silence in light of multiple controversies surrounding former Vlog Squad members, apologizing and expressing regret in a March 16 video. Following weeks of accusations from and against former Vlog Squad members, Dobrik took to his ‘VIEWS’ channel on YouTube to issue a broad apology. Stories from former collaborators began to surface in early February, with many Vlog Squad members detailed their experiences creating content with Dobrik. Some explained how they were made to feel “worthless,” while others were allegedly left “traumatized.” From racially insensitive content to more recent accusations of sexual assault among crew members, Dobrik addressed it all in his March 16 apology. “I love being able to make people happy for a living. That’s all that I want to do,” the social media celebrity outlined. “That being said, consent is something that’s super important to me. Whether I’m shooting with a friend or a stranger, I always make sure I have the approval from that person. “There’ve been moments where I’ve looked back on videos and I’ve realized these don’t represent me anymore. They’re hurtful to other people.” With hundreds of videos uploaded across a number of platforms throughout his career, Dobrik acknowledged that some have “missed the mark.” Some of these videos have been brought into question lately, leading to subsequent review bombing on his new app. For these particular uploads, he no longer “wants them up. “I’ve grown as a person and I don’t agree with some of the videos I’ve posted,” he said. Former Vlog Squad member Seth Francois recently detailed a ‘traumatizing’ experience he had while creating content with the crew. During a particular shoot, he “was touched by someone [he] did not consent to.” Dobrik singled out this instance in his apology video. “With the Seth situation, I’m sorry to Seth” he said. “I’m really sorry, I truly, truly am.” Following up on a more recent controversy involving sexual assault allegations, Dobrik also explained how he has stopped working with Dominykas Zeglaitis, otherwise known as ‘Durte Dom.’ “With people in my life that I don’t film with anymore, like Dom, I chose to distance myself. I don’t align with some of the actions, I don’t stand for any misconduct. I’ve been really disappointed by some of my friends. For that reason, I’ve separated from a lot of them.” “I’m sorry if I’ve let you down, things like that won’t happen again,” he stressed. “I’ve learned from my mistakes and I also believe actions speak louder than words. I’ll prove to you that the mistakes I made before won’t be happening again.”

  • David Dobrik begs YouTube fans to stop showing up at his house – Dexerto

David Dobrik begs YouTube fans to stop showing up at his house Instagram: David DobrikDavid Dobrik has issued an impassioned plea to fans that have been getting a bit too close to the YouTube superstar and his family recently, begging them “not to come to [his] house” because it can be “a little scary” at times. The popular YouTube personality has been largely absent from his famous vlog-dedicated channel recently, leaving his 17.8 million subscribers in the dark. It looks like some fans got fed up with waiting and visited Dobrik’s house. The star was, of course, not too keen on that. He asked fans not to invade his privacy by turning up at his West Hollywood home, especially during his break. On top of being invasive, he said, it can get “scary” having strangers lurking around his house. “Guys… I appreciate you guys so much. I promise! But please, please, do not come to my house,” the internet celebrity said in an Instagram story on June 23. “If I see you out and about, come say hello! I love that,” the 23-year-old continued in his written message. “But coming to my house is a little scary. Especially ‘cause everyone is a stranger, and Mama Dobrik always says “stranger danger.” Dobrik has been on an extended hiatus from his popular YouTube vlog series during the current global lockdown. That hiatus has left fans following his day-to-day adventures on social media platforms like Instagram and TikTok. Luckily, the end of his absence from the video-hosting website seems to be nearing an end. Dobrik confirmed on the Jimmy Fallon’s Tonight Show “the end is in sight” in regards to keeping his vlogs on the back burner. “I actually set a goal for myself,” he admitted to Fallon. “There’s a bar down the street [Saddle Ranch, in West Hollywood] that we always go to and, once it’s reopened at full capacity, I will start making videos again.” Earlier this week, Hype House duo Nick Austin and Bryce Hall lashed out at fans that “weren’t respecting privacy” and turning up to film TikToks at their house. Tony Lopez had a similar message for Hype House superfans last week too. “We moved because this was such a problem at our old house. We even had our property broken into multiple times. Please don’t show up to our home uninvited,” Austin said after some girls and their mom broke into the old Hype House. TikTok superstar Charli D’Amelio has also had to deal with her own fan drama in the past few days, after her VSCO account was hacked and splashed with “All Lives Matter” messages, contrary to her ongoing support of the BLM movement.

The popular vlogger, who has over 20 million subscribers across his two YouTube channels, teamed up with Warner Brothers to get into the holiday spirit. In his Christmas Eve upload, Meeting Her Boyfriend for the First time bloopers, Dobrik displayed some of the most comedic moments from his recent videos before using the last two minutes to showcase his incredibly generous deed. The YouTuber, along with friend Jason Nash and assistant Natalie, headed to A Place Called Home – a youth charity – and dropped off a “truckload” of DC Comics-themed presents including puzzle sets and action figures. Yet, that wasn’t all of his good deeds for the holiday season. “After handing out a bunch of toys, we decided to stop by my old workplace and surprise some employees with a Christmas bonus,” the YouTuber added before switching things up. Timestamp for mobile viewers of 3:38 However, it wasn’t just any typical Christmas bonus. In fact, Dobrik surprised a handful of employees with a few hundred dollars each – much to their shock as plenty of them revealed stunned gasps and looks. While Christmas is the time to hand out gifts and surprises, it isn’t a one-off for the YouTuber who can regularly be found surprising friends and strangers with presents. It was only earlier in December that he also gave away thousands of dollars to strangers in a similar fashion as his good deeds clearly show no signs of stopping anytime soon.

  • David Dobrik & assistant Natalie flustered after being confronted by angry fan – Dexerto

David Dobrik & assistant Natalie flustered after being confronted by angry fan YouTube: David DobrikYouTube star David Dobrik and his assistant, Natalie Mariduena, were approached by an angry fan while out and about, leaving both influencers looking flustered and asking security for help. David Dobrik has finally made his return to YouTube following multiple accusations and complaints of putting former friends and other entertainers in uncomfortable — and even dangerous — situations for his viral four-minute vlogs. Dobrik, who was once one of YouTube’s most popular content creators, has now come under intense scrutiny for his past content — not the least of which was securing friend Jeff Wittek to a crane and swinging him around fast enough to damage his eye. One of the bigger controversies surrounding Dobrik and his crew were accusations of providing alcohol to women “in order to take advantage of them,” as levied by TikToker Vercua Salt and other women formerly involved with the ‘Vlog Squad’ friend group. While Dobrik has since resumed his vlogging, it doesn’t seem like everyone is on board with his comeback, as seen when one fan approached the YouTuber and his assistant while the two were out and about some time on July 20, 2021. The fan captured the confrontation on his mobile phone, saying, “David, you’re not sick with your return, bro. Who gave the alcohol to the young girls? … Dude, it’s the whole culture you have of taking advantage of drunk people.” View this post on Instagram “You’re asking a crazy question, like, literally, we don’t know that,” Dobrik replied. “This isn’t the time and place to do that.” “This is a really weird conspiracy theory you have right now,” Natalie added before seeming to wave down a security guard. “Excuse me, sir? He’s harassing us.” This confrontation follows Dobrik’s appearance on the Discovery Channel’s Shark Week special, ‘Sharkbait,’ which also saw ample blowback from concerned viewers and critics, who warned the channel of the YouTuber’s ongoing allegations.

  • David Dobrik “ashamed” after facing criticism for insensitive videos – Dexerto

David Dobrik “ashamed” after facing criticism for insensitive videos YouTube: David Dobrik[jwplayer mgzBNoPb]David Dobrik has apologized for his past actions following recent allegations of racism after a video of him mocking the Japanese accent with Liza Koshy resurfaced. David Dobrik is a major personality on social media, with nearly 18 million YouTube subscribers, 13 million Instagram followers, and 19 million TikTok followers. The YouTuber has faced criticism for videos he made with Liza Koshy in the past where they appeared to mock the Japanese accent, prompting many to criticize both of them for their part in the video. In his podcast “VIEWS” with Jason Nash on Tuesday, he acknowledged his status as a role model for many people, noting that while he used to think he was only the internet “goofball”, he has come to understand the influence he has. He said: “I know it sounds so cheesy and I hate saying it, but every video I make, every Instagram I post, everything I do, I just want to cheer somebody up. I want to make people laugh, make people smile, I want them to share it with a friend, I want them to have a positive experience when they’re interacting with anything I produce. “That being said, I feel like on a handful of occasions I’ve just missed the mark on that, and it really really bums me out. And that kinda sucks that it took me so long to understand. I think when we went to our first Black Lives Matter protest and I was looking through my DMs afterward. It’s one thing to get DMs from somebody going hey your videos are funny, but it’s a completely different thing to get DMs about how much your alliance with a cause means for that person and their family, or how much it means that you’re using your voice to amplify theirs. “But that’s when I realized Holy s*** there are people who are seriously looking up to me for more than just something goofy. I think for a while I was just like I’m the goofball that’s all I am, but I think there are parts of this where I need to be more serious. I want to be a good role model for the people watching. I’m ashamed and I’m embarrassed for the things I did in some of the videos or vines or whatever I was doing and I genuinely feel awful about it. “I’m going to do better actively and I’m going to do that consistently. You have my word for that, I promise that. If I’m anything, I’m a man of my word. I just want to say that if there’s a kid who saw something from me and it didn’t make them feel welcomed or it just made them feel uncomfortable I’m sorry, I did not ever mean to make anybody feel out of place. I genuinely just want to make you have a good time and I’m going to do that from here on out and I’m going to do a better job at it.” This comes after a video resurfaced of Liza Koshy and David Dobrik in 2016 trying Japanese snacks and appearing to imitate the Japanese accent. TikTokker @callmesukiwi posted the clip with the caption “Why is no one talking about this? It’s a clear example of the normalized racism against Asians”. The TikTok currently has 73,000 likes. Liza Koshy has already apologized for her part in the clip, posting to Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube on Monday explaining her lack of education and intentions to do better. She wrote: “As a woman of color and a self-defined ‘little brown girl,’ I have experienced the harm of prejudices in my own life. However, this really does not exempt me from the responsibility of acknowledging the times I’ve unknowingly perpetuated racist ideas”

  • David Dobrik apologizes for punching assistant Natalie in viral TikTok – Dexerto

David Dobrik apologizes for punching assistant Natalie in viral TikTok YouTube: VIEWSYouTube star David Dobrik has issued a formal apology to assistant Natalie Mariduena after accidentally punching her in the face in a viral TikTok gone wrong. David Dobrik took over TikTok in early November after uploading a video of himself and the Vlog Squad taking part in the platform’s viral ‘Pen in Cup’ trend. The trend tasks participants with making a bet with themselves. Whether or not the bet works out in their favor, though, depends on whether or not they can throw a pen into a cup sitting several feet away. In Dobrik’s TikTok, assistant Natalie Mariduena bet that if she successfully got the pen inside the cup, David wouldn’t get to see the upcoming Spider-Man: No Way Home movie the day it comes out on December 17. David Dobrik apologizes to Natalie over viral TikTok gone wrong In response to this potential occurrence, Dobrik jokingly slapped Natalie across the head — causing her glasses to cut her face, in the process. The bloody aftermath quickly took social media by storm, with many critics taking up for Natalie and referencing Dobrik’s past controversies. Several weeks later, Dobrik brought up the matter in an episode of his VIEWS Podcast, where he explained the situation and even offered up an official apology to his friend on the air. “I punched Natalie in the face the other day, on accident,” he explained. “And people were like, ‘What the f**k did he just do?’ … It’s weird when you post something that’s between two people, and then people get mad at you. Like people start feeling the way the other person should be feeling.” “So yeah, I’m sorry for hitting you in the face, Nat.” (Topic begins at 4:00) The response to Dobrik’s apology has been mixed, with some fans laughing off the encounter, while critics accuse the YouTuber of being disingenuous. Natalie herself has remained in good spirits about the entire debacle — although she’s not above poking fun at Dobrik over his excitement in regards to Marvel films.

  • David Dobrik announces Tesla contest winners with surprise FaceTime calls – Dexerto

David Dobrik announces Tesla contest winners with surprise FaceTime calls Instagram: David Dobrik[jwplayer mgzBNoPb]YouTube star David Dobrik has finally revealed the winners of his free Tesla contest — but he had a special surprise in mind for them, which included an unexpected FaceTime call. David Dobrik is known far and wide throughout the social media sphere for his high-energy vlogs and insane giveaways, which have included everything from thousands of dollars to luxury vehicles. His latest giveaway includes a similar premise, promising potential U.S. voters the chance of winning a Tesla — with a catch. The only requirement for fans to win the Tesla was to check their U.S. voter registration status using a special Dobrik-branded website. Once they did this, they were in the clear for a chance at scoring a new car, and a Tesla, at that. https://twitter.com/DavidDobrik/status/1311044061969571840?s=20 A week later, Dobrik has chosen the winners, which he surprised by giving them a personal Facetime call to deliver the happy news. Taking to his Instagram Stories, Dobrik shared a few of the phone calls, which went out to five lucky contestants that couldn’t believe what he was saying. One surprised woman appeared to be in the middle of grocery shopping when Dobrik called her, and worried that the whole ordeal might be an elaborate joke — but the YouTuber assured her that it was, indeed, real, causing her to happily announce the news to her friends. While a few winners were understandably shocked, one contestant humorously opened the call with a very casual, “Hey,” and answered Dobrik’s announcement that she’d won with a blunt “No I didn’t,” which gave the vlog squad a good laugh after the FaceTime went down. This is far from the first time the YouTuber has given his fans unexpected surprises in person; Dobrik also hand-delivered his merch in April, along with a nice check for several thousand dollars (and keys to a new car). Up there with the likes of Mr Beast in terms of philanthropy, David Dobrik is truly bringing good into the world thanks to his YouTube earnings, and he’s making sure his viewers are feeling the love.

  • David Dobrik announces major change to his uploading schedule – Dexerto

David Dobrik announces major change to his uploading schedule daviddobrik, InstagramPopular YouTube star David Dobrik has announced that he will be mixing up his uploading schedule, but is it good or bad news for his fans? The Slovakian internet personality, who is the leader of YouTube’s very own The Vlog Squad, has over 11 million subscribers on the platform at the time of writing and usually posts videos on a regular basis. Having previously posted videos very regularly, Dobrik has announced not only the major change to his content creation schedule, but also the reasons behind the tweak. During a video posted to his channel on February 27, the YouTuber explained the decision to his viewers. “I want to let you guys know that I’m going to be posting twice a week, as oposed to three time a week now,” he revealed. “I’m doing this because I just need more time to do other stuff,” he added. “I want to take more meetings for things. I want to say yes to other opportunities, but I can’t because I’m literally constricted by the videos.” Dobrik has reassured fans, though, that his podcast will start to be posted on another channel and they will continue moving forward. His move follows a trend of popular YouTuber’s taking a step back from content creation to focus on other projects, which was most recently seen when the ACE Family announced on January 29 that they would be taking a break from creating videos. However, not only will Dobrik be taking a break to focus on other projects, but his health also – as creating videos seems to be taking its toll. “Posting three times a week has kind of made me sick. I just feel like shit all of the time,” he said. Whether or not his schedule will ever return to three videos per week remains to be seen, but fans access to the star’s daily life will be slightly more for the foreseeable future – that’s for sure.

David Dobrik announces celebrity pickleball tournament for charity Instagram: daviddobrikDavid Dobrik is hosting a celebrity Pickleball tournament for charity. And he’s already got a partner picked out for the game. For anyone who might not know, influencer and former vlogger David Dobrik used to play tennis as a child but has since developed a newfound love for pickleball. And despite the name, the sport doesn’t involve any cucumbers. Instead, it’s a racket or paddle sport where players hit a hollow plastic ball back and forth over a 34-inch high net until one fails to return the ball or commits an infraction. And now Dobrik is looking to cement himself as the pickleball king with a celebrity tournament he’s hosting for charity. Teaming up with CELSIUS Energy Drinks for the tournament, Dobrik told Distractify about what he had planned and who he was partnering up with in hopes of stealing first place. “I’m just I’m a big fan of pickleball and I’m like, a bigger fan of having people around my house,” Dobrik said. “So this is like the perfect combination of everything from friends to my favorite drink [CELSIUS], a combination of fun things. So I’m really excited.” The tournament will take place on August 25 at Dobrik’s Los Angeles residence. Some of the celebrities expected to appear include model, influencer, and actress Olivia Culpo and The Bachelorette runner-up Tyler Cameron. As for who Dobrik has recruited as his partner in crime? The one and only Taylor Lautner. “I chose him because I played with him a couple of times. And the guy is actually pretty great,” Dobrik explained, confident that the two “have this in the bag.” We wish them the best of luck in taking the crown. • David Dobrik angers fans by throwing house party and charging over $1000 for tickets – Dexerto

David Dobrik angers fans by throwing house party and charging over $1000 for tickets Instagram: David Dobrik. EventbriteYouTuber David Dobrik has advertised tickets for a house party he is hosting ranging from $40 to $1500. The event will be hosted by Dobrik on July 30 but some people have already criticized the steep ticket prices. The event appeared on ticket-selling platform Eventbrite and has quickly sold a number of admissions. All General Admission tickets are sold out with the exception of “Last call.” But, if you’re still hoping to attend the event, be warned that the remaining tickets will cast between $100 and $1500. A First Floor or Second Floor Booth ticket both cost over $1000. For both of these tickets, one can bring in up to 8 guests. On top of this, a bottle of vodka and two bottles of champagne are provided, as well as a private seating area. Other benefits include a “dedicated server throughout the evening, express entry, and a chance to win 8 GA tickets to Saturday of Lollapalooza.” General Admission tickets allow access to the venue as well as the bar. Some questioned the price of the tickets online saying “who tf is gonna pay $1500 for a party.” Dobrik has not appeared to promote the event yet on his social media with no posts on his Instagram stories or tweets. The tickets sold so far seem to have been generated purely by word of mouth. Some of the criticism around the party has been due to Dobrik’s comeback in recent weeks. One person commented that “it’s so unfair that he gets to go back to normal and still have supporters after everything he’s done.” David Dobrik’s controversial comeback The party seems to be another event organized by Dobrik to attempt to repair the damage caused to his reputation after the publication of an Insider article in March 2021 and other controversies. Dobrik was a founder of a group of YouTubers called the “Vlog Squad” and the article alleged that a former member, Durte Dom, had sexually assaulted a girl who was under the influence of alcohol. The revelations led to a loss of subscribers for Dobrik as well as a loss of commercial partnerships. Other controversies include accusations of reckless behavior after Jeff Wittek had to undergo surgery following a near-fatal accident caused by Dobrik. Another former Vlog Squad member Seth Francois also alleged he was assaulted during a prank and accused members of perpetuating stereotypes and doing Blackface. Dobrik has resurfaced posting six videos between June 16 and July 20. He also appeared on Discovery during Shark Week and his close friend Natalie Marideuna defended him on the BFFs podcast. However, not all fans have welcomed the return with one confronting Dobrik over the sexual assault allegations.

  • David Dobrik and squad get crazy in hilarious behind the scenes Streamy vlog – Dexerto

David Dobrik and squad get crazy in hilarious behind the scenes Streamy vlog One of YouTube’s most popular vloggers, David Dobrik, took viewers behind the scenes of the 2018 Streamy awards – and proved that he knows how to have a good time. It’s got to be the feel-good video of the year: David Dobrik celebrated his Streamy nomination with a series of packed parties with his closest friends, giving viewers a slew of hilarious and unforgettable hijinks that he compiled in his 499th vlog. The vlog opened up with one of these crazy moments, where an unidentified host vehemently kicked out a group of partygoers who were crowding her home. YouTuber Heath Hussar then mocked the host while (apparently) relieving himself outside, joking about her hysterical antics. “I just wanna know what was so exclusive about that party,” he laughed. “I remember the first time I tried coke.” The vlog also featured a hilarious conversation between YouTube couple Trisha Paytas and Jason Nash, who discussed the intimate side of their relationship in a comedic conversation (which we won’t transcribe here). The squad then gathered in a party bus and broke it down to Hey Ya by Outkast – but things got a little weird when everyone started taking their shirts off. Dobrik likewise made sure to capture his double Streamy wins, which were met with emotional celebration by the supporting cast of his vlog series. In fact, Vardon was so excited that he threw a chair over his head (which was thankfully caught by Dobrik in a moment of quick thinking). Dobrik and company took home the Streamys for best Ensemble Cast and First Person.

Is David Dobrik quitting YouTube? On Tuesday, March 15, Dobrik went on his podcast VIEWS to talk about potentially quitting YouTube, after saying that he’s become bored of making videos. “There’s different days where I do and different days where I don’t, like I’m so happy with the videos I’ve created and I have made so many of them, where I’m like ‘I’ve completed everything I’ve wanted to finish on YouTube,’” Dobrik said on his podcast. (Dobrik says he might be done with YouTube at 29:21 in the video below) In addition to Dobrik’s statement, Jason Nash, Dobrik’s close friend, went on to tell him that “you don’t have a real you,” to which the Vlogger responded with “you’re constantly the real you, you’re just a different age with a different perspective.” Previously Dobrik mentioned possibly quitting YouTube back in December 2021, telling his fans that “I think I did what I wanted to do with the vlogs … It’s like when a late-night show host is about to quit, and he’s like I’ve done everything I wanted to do here. I did it. I had fun. I’ve got to do something else.” Only time will tell whether Dobrik is serious about leaving the platform and moving on with his career to new endeavors.

  • David Dobrik admits he’d “do anything” to reverse Jeff Wittek accident – Dexerto

David Dobrik admits he’d “do anything” to reverse Jeff Wittek accident YouTube: Jeff Wittek, VIEWSYouTube star David Dobrik has finally addressed his ongoing drama with podcaster Jeff Wittek shortly after Wittek publicly cut ties with him over issues stemming from a 2021 injury. David Dobrik is one of YouTube’s most prolific vloggers. Best known for his over-the-top videos with his friend group ‘The Vlog Squad,’ Dobrik often films himself and his buddies getting into all manner of shenanigans. While his exploits have earned him a travel show on Discovery+, one of the vlogger’s past stunts garnered severe backlash online after his friend got seriously injured as a result. Barber, podcast host, and influencer Jeff Wittek — a former part of the Vlog Squad — nearly lost an eye after being swung around on a crane in the middle of a lake, which Dobrik was operating at the time of the incident. The two influencers have been at odds ever since, and in February 2022, Wittek publicly cut ties with Dobrik after not hearing from him after yet another corrective surgery, notably calling his former friend a “scumbag.” David Dobrik apologizes for Jeff Wittek eye injury Dobrik has finally addressed the situation two weeks later, saying in a March 8 episode of his VIEWS podcast, stating that he’d do “anything” to reverse Wittek’s injury. “The Jeff thing is the f**kin’ worst,” Dobrik admitted. “That day is the worst thing that’s ever happened to me, and I would do anything to take that day back. I’m shaking.” “I wish it was me up there,” he continued. “It’s the most unfortunate thing ever, and it’s an accident. That’s what it was. I want to make that clear. There’s never a world where I want to have that happen to a person. I was never up there, driving the thing, wanting to hurt someone.” Dobrik went on to speculate that one of the current reasons Wittek is upset with him is that he’d discussed Wittek’s private matters during a previous interview, saying, “he’s pissed that I broke a promise.” The vlogger went on to call the ensuing drama and online commentary regarding Wittek’s injury “f**king insane.” Dobrik also claimed that he felt like he was “taking 150% of the responsibility” for the accident, revealing text messages that show Wittek allegedly suggesting he do the excavator stunt. “People thought I really sent him up there just so he can swing off this thing. That is not the case. …it was a combined decision we made, and it was a complete accident. I’m so f**king sorry it happened, but there’s no going back from that.” (Topic begins at 11:25) Wittek has yet to respond to Dobrik’s latest comments at the time of publication. • David Dobrik addresses rumors about his sexuality – Dexerto

David Dobrik addresses rumors about his sexuality YouTube; PaperDavid Dobrik is one of YouTube’s biggest stars, best known for his high-energy vlogs that feature his friend group — but considering his low-profile dating life, some rumors have spread regarding his orientation. When it comes to YouTubers, few are as bombastic as David Dobrik. Boasting over 18 million subscribers, Dobrik — much like MrBeast — has become hailed as a veritable internet celebrity for giving away huge amounts of cash to his fans and orchestrating insane stunts (like the time he buried his friend up to his head in his backyard). However, it seems that Dobrik’s dating life is constantly up in the air; while rumors have often circulated about his involvement with names like Corinna Kopf, singer Madison Beer, and even his own assistant, Natalie, the YouTuber has denied any claims of being romantic with just about anyone throughout his career. It seems that his silence on the subject has sparked quite a few rumors, many of which theorize that Dobrik could be bisexual. View this post on Instagram Luckily for curious fans, Dobrik finally addressed these rumors in a January 12 episode of his VIEWS podcast, explaining that the heart of the speculation began with a hilarious Twitter thread. “Yeah, people think I’m bicurious,” he began. “It was so funny — there was this whole Twitter chain going on, and everyone was like, ‘This mother****er rejected Corinna, this mother****er rejected Madison Beer.” “Someone responded like, ‘I think he’s bicurious,’” he continued. “And the person responded, ‘No, at this point, he’s just bi-himself.’” View this post on Instagram While he found the entire exchange hilarious, Dobrik clarified that he is not bisexual, stating that he doesn’t consider himself bisexual or bicurious. “I think I said something that made it sound like it, and I don’t wanna be like, ‘I’m not bicurious!’ because I don’t really care, but no, I don’t think I am,” he stated. (Topic begins at 0:55) Well, there we have it: Despite Dobrik’s ‘foreveralone’ status, it seems like he just hasn’t found the right girl — although he could just be keeping his love life under wraps for privacy’s sake, which, for David, is a thing that is regularly breached by overenthusiastic fans. • David Dobrik addresses bizarre rumor about return YouTube vlog – Dexerto

David Dobrik addresses bizarre rumor about return YouTube vlog Instagram: daviddobrikDavid Dobrik has addressed a bizarre rumor circulating about the contents of his first vlog back following a lengthy YouTube hiatus. Due to the ongoing global health crisis, Dobrik has refrained from posting his regular short-form vlogs to YouTube, instead planning on making a return when things get back to normal. While he’s still been regularly posting to Instagram and TikTok, his YouTube videos are where Dobrik really built his legion of fans and, as such, with him now being inactive on the platform for several months, rumors have started to spread. In the latest episode of his podcast, VIEWS, Dobrik has responded to one of the more popular rumors circulating about him. The subject was broached by friend and comedian Jason Nash, who said that a fan had approached him asking about “the hour” that David supposedly has coming. He went on to specify that the fan shared with him that the rumor was David has an hour-long vlog ready to go of all the footage he’s got from the past few months, with the plan to condense it all into one video. Dobrik immediately bursts into laughter, confirming that there’s no chance of that happening, and even says that “if he put together everything shot, I would probably have a minute, a minute and 20 seconds of the last eight months.” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZYXfsjgubJY The YouTube star then explained why he just doesn’t have that much footage from the last few months. “A lot less fun things happen when you’re not seeking them out,” he said. “It’s not like a tiger just walks in here by himself and says ‘hey, can I vlog with you?’ You got to get that sh*t here.” So, if you’re one of the people who has been told than an hour-long David Dobrik vlog is coming, you’ve unfortunately been lied to and, if anything, we would be lucky to see any vlog content from the last few months.

David Dobrik, Addison Rae & her mom go viral with weirdest TikTok ever TikTok: daviddobrikAddison’s Rae’s mom has surprised TikTok fans yet again after she starred in a TikTok with her daughter and David Dobrik, that saw a bizarre soap-opera style scene involving a love triangle between the three play out. Addison’s mom Sheri is no stranger to pushing the boundaries on the popular video platform, even outshining her daughter with her own rendition of the Brian Esperon’s viral dance to the song WAP by Cardi B. The mother and daughter duo have even embarked on business endeavors together including recording a podcast entitled ‘Mama Knows Best.’ It seems only natural, then, that Sheri would join Addison in some of her collabs with other well-known influencers. They did just that with YouTube personality David Dobrik, producing a wild video that skyrocketed in popularity on the app. Uploaded to David’s account, the video begins zoomed in on Addison who was pretending to sleep, him saying “Hey Addison. Addison, wake up.” As he tells her it’s getting late and that she should go home, she pokes her head up and asks “why?” David replies “if I’m being honest, I’m kinda seeing somebody.” Nobody expected that somebody to be her mom Sheri. She sits up from behind David and says “you heard him b*tch. Pack your stuff.” David wheezes at the deadpan comment, but Sheri by some miracle managed to keep a straight face the entire time. As usual, people loved Sheri’s appearance, heading to the comments to share their love for the video. Influencer Chris Olsen said “is it possible for tiktoks to win awards because this… deserves one?” Another influencer, Scott Hubbard, said “2020 is wild” which seems to sum up the crazy reaction to the collaboration. At the time of writing the video has pulled in over eight million likes and a whopping 24 million views.

  • David Dobrik explains why he acts differently in real life compared to his vlogs – Dexerto

David Dobrik explains why he acts differently in real life compared to his vlogs Instagram: David DobrikYouTuber David Dobrik claims fans always mention that he acts differently in real life compared to how he does in videos, and he explained why, referring to a disconnect between reality and their expectations. David Dobrik is back in business since returning to YouTube after claims he forced Vlog Squad members into making “traumatizing” content, followed by sexual assault allegations, and eventually, losing sponsors and being demonetized forced him to take a hiatus. Despite all the controversy and drama, his fans are happy to see him back. But when they approach him in the streets, he revealed that it’s not uncommon for them to say he acts differently than how they expected, and he explained why. “When people meet me in person, they’re like ‘you’re not laughing all the time,’” he said. “I don’t laugh all the time. I don’t think people realize that I film for six hours, and the moment I choose to put in the vlog is the moment I’m also laughing at because it’s the moment I find the funniest.” Dobrik elaborated on his point further, saying, “I don’t find every situation funny. You just see every situation that I find the funniest. Technically, I’m always laughing. But I’m really not, because a lot of times I’m coming up with engineering plans.” By engineering plans, he’s referring to props like the “money guns” he used in a recent video. He hired an engineer to put them together and used them to propel $10,000 cash into the air so that his guests could try and grab as much as they can. Ironically, Dobrik started laughing right after he finished explaining why he appears to laugh more on camera than he does in person. However, it’s something that rings true for other influencers and internet personalities, too. How they are in person and how they appear to be on camera isn’t always the same.

Dobrik has yet to respond to the outrage at the time of writing.

  • David Beckham reveals which of his kids is the best gamer – Dexerto

David Beckham reveals which of his kids is the best gamer @DavidBeckham/InstagramFootball legend David Beckham made one of the toughest choices a parent has to make: deciding which one of their children is the better gamer. Beckham is one of the most famous footballers in the world, and has made waves in the esports world recently by investing in Guild Esports. During an interview with Guild about the org’s new academy system, the Inter Miami co-owner also revealed which of his offspring is superior at FIFA 21. View this post on Instagram When asked by host FIFA YouTuber TN25 who was the best gamer in the Beckham household, the star assured viewers that it definitely wasn’t him. “It’s definitely not me, I would have to say… Romeo. He’s probably the best at FIFA,” the Manchester United legend said about his 18-year-old. It makes sense, since older brothers typically tend to be better at almost everything. “My youngest son, Cruz, you know he’s got a bit of a fiery character, so he’s going to watch this and be like ‘Dad, I’m the best,” he added. Not only are his kids already beating him on the virtual pitch, according to Beckham they’re part of the reason he started taking esports seriously in the first place. “I heard about esports quite a while ago, and I really started taking it seriously when my kids started talking to me about it,” Beckham told TN25. “The excitement around me owning my own esports team, it’s more than anything I’ve ever done in my career, to be honest.” Guild might even have some future stars lined up for their brand new academy system if Romeo and Cruz decide they want to play ball. Read More: JustaMinx joins Team Envy as content creator – “I mentioned to them the other day ‘You know, there’s going to be an academy, so you can maybe learn how to play a little bit better than you’re actually playing because you’re always shouting at the screen,” Beckham added, in a brutal roast that only a dad could deliver. Only time will tell if we see one of the younger Beckhams make a name for themselves in esports, but having a dad who owns his own org, not to mention is a living football legend, certainly helps out a bit.

Dave Portnoy starts “TikTok war” with Nessa Barrett & Chase Hudson fans Instagram: Josh Richards/ Instagram: Nessa BarrettBarstool Sports’ president Dave Portnoy has claimed he is “in the middle of a TikTok war” after the release of his new podcast with Josh Richards sent fans into a frenzy. [jwplayer XgyhEjM5] On Tuesday, Dave and Sway house member Josh Richards released the first episode of their new podcast BFFs in which they spoke about TikTok and many of the app’s biggest stars. The hosts were quick to slam and shade other creators including Chase Hudson who Dave said “dressed like an a**hole,” and Nessa Barrett who, Dave claimed, found her fame through dating Josh Richards. Fans of Nessa Barrett were very quick to come to her defense after Dave’s comments, and fired a barrage of insults his way, some of which Dave shared to Twitter. One comment Dave received on Instagram said: “You’re a disgrace to the world & you belong in a graveyard with your president. You’re literally bored and look like a r**ist so I guess you just hate on random girls that are 18.” Another fan direct messaged Portnoy and wrote, “Are you tired of waiting for someone to pick you up and take you to a nursing home?… You are like 60-70 trying to start beef with an 18-year-old girl, sit down.” Fucking Vinny where you at! TikTok star Addison Rae and her parents Sheri and Monty have been in the spotlight after fans were made aware that both she and her mom unfollowed her dad on Instagram and set her bio to “single.” Just days later, Rapper Yung Gravy made a joke video asking Sheri out on a date that prompted Lopez to call him out in a video challenging him to a boxing match. Dave Portnoy and his co-hosts spoke about the recent drama during an episode of the BFFs podcast, where Portnoy slammed Monty — calling him a “roid head” in the process. Dave Portnoy slams “roid head” Monty Lopez During the August 11 podcast, Portnoy and his co-hosts began talking about the drama between Monty Lopez, Sheri, and Yung Gravy. They played the TikTok that Monty uploaded calling for a boxing match with Yung Gravy. “He’s gotta be on steroids, right?” Dave said. “He’s definitely got muscles but he looks a little bit like a roid head. Monty seems like a nutbag.” (Topic starts at 1:09 in the video) He went on to talk about Sheri’s actions recently as well: “I’m gonna be honest though, Sheri Nicole isn’t doing anybody favors either. Little miss ‘bad taste in men’ and being on TikTok. Maybe she shouldn’t be on social media either?” Co-Hosts Josh Richards and Bri Chickenfry added to the conversation, mentioning that they can understand Sheri responding more than Monty initiating drama. However, both agree that they shouldn’t be doing it in public. “What are you doing, pick up the phone and call your ex-husband,” Bri said.

Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy and his model girlfriend Silvana Mojica of over two years have seemingly broken up. Though Portnoy has yet to speak on the details, Mojica posted a tearful video on TikTok. Fans of the couple have since reacted by dragging Portnoy for the sudden change in his relationship status. Fans say they only liked Dave Portnoy because of girlfriend Silvana Mojica Portnoy and Mojica were first linked back in March 2021 when they were seen getting to know each other at a Miami club. The two continued their relationship for over two years. However, Mojica posted a video to TikTok on Wednesday, November 22, with the caption, “Imagine you buy these for someone and then get broken up with.” She then showed what appeared to be sentimental greeting cards that she had bought for Portnoy. One of the cards read, “Angels couldn’t be everywhere, so they sent me you.” Another said, “I have little hearts in my eyes for you.” To add to the emotion of the breakup video, Mojica was playing “Fast Car” by Tracy Chapman in the background while she cried. Fans of the couple who have seen Mojica’s video were quick to say they only liked Portnoy because of her. While others took their comments further, saying, “He never deserved you anyway.” And, “The girlies are coming for you, Dave!!!” One fan even mentioned the fact that they had broken up just one day before Thanksgiving, pointing out the “audacity” Portnoy had to do that to Mojica. Though Mojica’s statement was subtle, her tears spoke volumes. Portnoy, on the other hand, has yet to release any information regarding their split.

  • Dave Portnoy reveals he almost fought Michael Rapaport in boxing match – Dexerto

Dave Portnoy reveals he almost fought Michael Rapaport in boxing match YouTube: FLAGRANT / djvladBarstool Sports Dave Portnoy revealed that he reached out to ex-employee and fellow comedian Michael Rapaport for a boxing match, but it didn’t work out. The beef between Dave Portnoy and Michael Rapaport is the stuff of legends at this point — but it’s making its way back into the news after Portnoy’s latest tell-all. Influencer boxing has become the latest craze to take over the internet. Starting with KSI vs Logan Paul in 2018, it’s since ballooned into a huge trend that saw over $1 million raised for charity in the latest influencer boxing event, Creator Clash. Portnoy appeared in a June 21 episode of Andrew Schulz’s ‘Flagrant’ podcast to shoot the breeze and discuss his current ventures when the topic of a possible boxing match came up. When asked if there was anyone Portnoy would touch gloves with in the ring, he was hesitant at first, joking that he was too chicken to actually go through with it. However, he quickly revealed that he’d actually challenged former Barstool employee and fellow comedian Michael Rapaport to a boxing match — along with a fight contract for $200,000. “Well, I challenged Rapaport,” he answered. “And he said no?” Schulz asked. “He had a contract,” Portnoy continued. “A $200,000 contract. Yeah, he had it. I literally sent it to him.” “What was the issue — the breakout?” Portnoy didn’t exactly say what caused the proposed fight to fail, but he did admit that it would have been a televised ‘Rough ‘N Rowdy’ brawl before admitting that his shoulders are a bit too damaged to actually undergo a boxing match. (Topic begins at 1:36:20) It’s no secret that Portnoy and Rapaport aren’t exactly friendly with each other. Their beef began back in 2017, when Rapaport was first hired on to Barstool. However, Rapaport claimed the company decided against renewing his contract mere months into their deal — a deal that reportedly earned him $200,000 for video “rants.” Rapaport ended up suing Barstool for defamation, which was ultimately dropped, although he also filed a breach-of-contract suit against the company. It doesn’t look like this boxing match will ever pan out but fans can still look forward to Jake Paul and KSI both returning to the ring this summer.

Dave Portnoy doesn’t think Taylor Swift & Travis Kelce look “normal” together YouTube: FlagrantDave Portnoy has commented on the recent dating rumors surrounding Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce, saying he doesn’t think that the supposed couple looks “normal” together. Over the last few weeks, rumors of Taylor Swift dating Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce have skyrocketed, boosting them both in headlines since then. On September 23, social media erupted after Swift was spotted watching Travis play alongside his mom at the Chiefs vs Bears game. During an interview with Andrew Schulz on the Fragrant podcast, Dave Portnoy said the two don’t look “normal,” but he is fascinated by them, regardless. Dave Portnoy fascinated by Taylor Swift & Travis Kelce dating rumors As he’s the owner of Barstool Sports, it makes sense for Schulz to ask Portnoy what he thinks about the new potential couple. “Yeah, it’s crazy. They don’t look normal… I don’t know what the hell’s going on. She’s generally a very private person (while they’re dating),” he said. He went on to talk about the car that they left the game in, calling the whole situation “crazy.” He added: “I’m fascinated by it and the internet is blowing up about it.” (Topic starts at 6:00 in the video) It’s clear that Dave Portnoy didn’t mean any harm with his comment, as he enjoys how much it’s blowing up across social media and news sites. Taylor’s previous boyfriend’s include Tom Hiddleston, Harry Styles, Jake Gyllenhaal and John Mayer — showing that her usual taste in men usually leans toward actors and musicians. However, they don’t always go quite as planned and Portnoy’s August 31 review is a great example of things going awry. In the clip, Dave takes a few bites of the pizza and rates it a 6.4/10 just as the owner of the shop came outside to confront him. Dave Portnoy pizza review goes awry due to angry owner Since the clip was uploaded, Dave’s review of Dragon Pizza has since been viewed nearly five million times. Seconds after Portnoy rated the pizza, the owner of the shop came outside and confronted Dave in a way that started a bit of a heated argument between the two. “I don’t appreciate what you do coming in and judging a business with one bite,” said the shop owner. “I hope you enjoy the pizza, but I don’t appreciate what you do to small businesses.” After a few seconds, the owner came back outside: “Let me be clearer, don’t stand in front of my business. Get the f*ck out from in front of my business.” Dave and the shop owner shared a few choice words between each other before the owner went back inside. “Your shirt’s six sizes too small fatso,” Dave said while clapping back at the owner amid the argument. • Dave Portnoy calls out Bryce Hall for using Addison Rae rumors for clout – Dexerto

Dave Portnoy calls out Bryce Hall for using Addison Rae rumors for clout Bryce Hall InstagramThe ever-present ‘are they, aren’t they’ situation with Bryce Hall and Addison Rae was brought to the forefront on the ‘BFFs with Dave Portnoy and Josh Richards’ podcast, as the host grilled the two TikTok stars on dating rumors that usually result in more clout for online celebs. [jwplayer ZXB9LNVP] Hall’s break-up with Rae was highly publicized, as would be the norm for some of the biggest names in social media today. However, ever since their split, people have been speculating if (or when) the two would ever get back together. The stars haven’t exactly been helping their case, either, especially since both have been spotted in numerous videos or clips together post-breakup that are further fueling the speculation. But Portnoy has had enough of the mystery and did his best to cut right to the chase: “You (Hall) and Addison are still together, no?” At that point, Richards can be heard saying something that sounded like an affirmative of Portnoy’s inquiry, while Hall made a few attempts at driving the conversation elsewhere. https://twitter.com/whoisaddison/status/1290417899572563968 The point initially started with the trio talking about recent beef between Hall and Zach Clayton that ended in a fist fight. But when the TikToker accused Clayton of being fake with his influencer status, Hall glazed across his previous relationship with Rae. “Why don’t you say it? I don’t understand the whole thing, like these little smiles, these little teenage smiles. Like, why don’t you just say it. Who cares?” Portnoy said before going on. “Maybe you guys (are being calculated), like ‘Yeah it’s obvious, but we’re just tagging people along doing the romance sitcom. Not going to say I’m dating the girl, because I want the pop to come down the road.’” In the midst of it all, from what Portnoy has seen himself at the Sway House, influencers like Rae and others are at the LA mansion “all the time.” (Mobile viewers: Timestamp at 23:54) For social media stars, being in each other’s spheres of influence is just business. But Portnoy picked up on something more while being at the house. “I was at the house, and my vibe is you guys are together with these girls, you just don’t put the official title,” Portnoy said. Both Richards and Hall were reluctant to give any weight to the claims, until Portnoy reminded them of the receipts. Richards says, “He just outed us [unintelligible] –” “I mean that’s a f***kin’ fact,” Portnoy responded. “We have it on video.” “No you don’t (have video), that was (Blake Gray and Amelie Zilber),” Richards said. “We do. We had the cameras rolling. When I sat down at the (Sway House) couches, yeah (Addison Rae) comes over, (Nessa Barrett) comes over, like still kinda dating. It’s on camera,” Portnoy retorts. That’s when selective memory took over for Richards and Hall, who were still grinning at each other while increasingly looking like they had more to uncover. While Hall and Richards were being a little flippant in their responses, Portnoy expects the truth to come out eventually. Until then, there’s a lot of social media impressions to be made for everyone involved – as long as Hall and Rae’s names keep surfacing in the rumor mill.

  • Dave Portnoy buys Barstool Sports back from PENN amid $2B ESPN deal – Dexerto

Dave Portnoy buys Barstool Sports back from PENN amid $2B ESPN deal Dave PortnoyDave Portnoy announced that he purchased back Barstool Sports, as ESPN signed a $2B gambling deal with PENN Entertainment. In February, PENN Entertainment completed an acquisition of Barstool Sports for approximately $388 million. PENN’s complete ownership only lasted a few months, as the entertainment company parted ways with Barstool for ESPN. On July 8, ESPN signed a licensing deal with PENN to create ESPN Bet, a new sportsbook. ESPN reported that “Penn agreed to pay $1.5 billion in cash over 10 years, as well as grant ESPN $500 million of warrants to purchase approximately 31.8 million common shares of Penn.” As part of the deal, BusinessWire confirmed that Penn sold 100% of Barstool Sports to Dave Portnoy “in an exchange for certain non-compete and other restrictive covenants.” Barstool also has to award 50% of the gross proceeds received in any subsequent sale or other monetization event of Barstool, but Portnoy explained how that won’t be an issue. Dave Portnoy announces buyback of Barstool Sports In an emergency press conference, Portnoy announced that he bought back Barstool Sports. “PENN was able to broker an unbelievable deal with ESPN. We wish them nothing but the best in their endeavors. It is truly a win-win.” Portnoy criticized gambling regulators and “hit pieces f**king with the stock price” for preventing the Barstool Sportsbook from reaching the heights both parties originally envisioned. “We underestimated just how tough it is for myself and Barstool to operate in a regulated world.” Additionally, Portnoy explained how the purchase impacts Barstool Sports’ future content. “For the first time in forever, we don’t have to watch what we say, how we talk, or what we do. I am never going to sell Barstool Sports. I will hold it until I die;” Portnoy said when that time does come, he’ll pass it down within the company. What immediate impact this move has on Barstool Sports, its content, or the company’s current employees remains to be seen.

Dave Portnoy explains why Logan Paul is to blame for Call Her Daddy pay controversy YouTube: Full Send Podcast / YouTube: ImpaulsiveDave Portnoy recently opened up on the Full Send podcast, retreading old ground with new light over the Call Her Daddy fallout from 2020. This time, he blames Logan Paul for bringing up pay conditions with the two hosts. The Call Her Daddy controversy, with hosts Sofia Franklyn and Alex Cooper splitting ways under the machinations of the enigmatic ‘Suit Man’ is bonafide internet legend. Going from unknown podcast hosts to multi-millionaires in the space of a few years, living the pipedream of content creators worldwide. Dave Portnoy, head of Barstool Sports, laid it all bare in conversation with the NELK boys on the April 14 episode of the FULL SEND podcast. Discussing how the two podcasters “got so big so fast, the original contract was outdated instantly almost.” He went deep on facts and figures relating to the split. “They came on, they each got 70 grand. 70 grand a year that was their starting salaries, then the thing just exploded.” Continuing on, Portnoy spoke about how a conversation with Logan Paul early on caused issues for the relationship between the hosts and the distributor. “They went out and they did a podcast with Logan Paul, I think they did Impaulsive, and Logan asked them how much they were making, they answered, and he was like ‘woah, you’re getting screwed.’” Dave Portnoy went further with descriptions of the full event as it occurred in his eyes. “They came, during [the pandemic], Alex and Sofia, and they were getting ready to leave. And we needed ’em, so I made an unbelievable deal. “You guys can take the IP, I’ll shorten the contract, and give you more money, I just need you for a year.” Talking to how they dealt with the deal, Dave said “Alex wanted it, Sofia refused it, supposedly because the boyfriend [suit man] said nope, I need to manage you, and then they split.” Responding to a question of who ended up in a better situation, the Barstool Sports owner said “Well, Alex got a 3-year 60 million dollar deal from Spotify, so I’d say she did ok.” Closing out his thoughts on the Call Her Daddy drama, Dave Portnoy finished by saying “Sofia cost herself a lot of money. That’s one of the worst decisions ever made by a human”

  • Dave Portnoy baffled by pizza review fan Dixie D’Amelio’s “rookie score” – Dexerto

Dave Portnoy baffled by pizza review fan Dixie D’Amelio’s “rookie score” YouTube/One Bite Pizza ReviewsBarstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy was stunned after TikTok star Dixie D’Amelio claimed to be a fan of his famous Pizza Reviews – only to give out a rookie score. Dave Portnoy’s ‘One Bite Pizza’ reviews are some of the most popular clips on the internet. In them, the Barstool boss visits pizzerias around the world and grades them. The reviews have also seen countless guest stars reviewing slices alongside Portnoy. Some of the biggest names to join him include John Cena, Tucker Carlson, Jerry Springer, The Chainsmokers, PK Subban and now, Dixie D’Amelio. For this video, Portnoy and D’Amelio got a slice from PIZZANISTA in Los Angeles. In an interesting twist, Dave pointed out how the TikToker herself was a big fan of the reviews. “You actually said you followed the pizza reviews before you blew up,” Portnoy stated, which got a nod from the influencer. Unfortunately, D’Amelio may have exposed herself as a bit of a fake fan after taking a bite and giving the pizza a “rookie score” of 6 – a round number. As anyone familiar with the One Bite reviews would tell you, Dave’s grades almost always include decimals. It’s not uncommon to see Dave give a pizza a score of, for example, 5.9 and will not round up to 6. This means that a score of “six” isn’t the kind of grade a fan of the pizza reviews would give. “It’s very basic doughy pizza, but good. It’s kind of like football style… I’m gonna go 7.1. I think it was pretty good stuff,” Portnoy said. “Oh, you do decimals,” Dixie sighed after hearing his grade. “That’s why it’s a rookie score,” he jeered. “And everyone who watches me is going to be like, ‘You sold us out.’ The TikTokers are rookie scorers.” While the review may not be the most memorable one ever, hopefully Dixie can learn from this experience if she ever ends up coming back to review more pizza on the show.

  • Dave Chappelle makes long awaited appearance on Joe Rogan podcast – Dexerto

Dave Chappelle makes long awaited appearance on Joe Rogan podcast YouTube: JRE ClipsAfter years of anticipation, Dave Chapelle finally made an appearance on the Joe Rogan Experience podcast for his own episode. The comic legend revealed why he thought his life was over after walking away from the Chapelle’s Show. It was inevitable that Chapelle would eventually sit down for his own podcast on the Joe Rogan Experience. The star is not only close friends with the UFC commentator, but the duo have been co-headlining sold-out shows together across Texas over the last year. In 2020, the Legend even made a brief appearance on the JRE in support of his friend Donnell Rawlings. On May 7, fans finally got their wish as the former Chapelle’s Show creator finally sat down for a tell-all interview where he opened about about a wide range of subjects such as fame, depression, and what brought him out of retirement and back to stand-up comedy. Dave Chapelle finally does full podcast with Joe Rogan In 2005, Dave Chapelle stunned the entertainment industry when he quit Chapelle’s Show at the height of its popularity. The comedian instantly became a legend after walking away from millions of dollars in favor of upholding his artistic integrity. During the May 7 episode of the JRE, the star explained why he believed the decision would end his career. “As far as I was concerned my career was over,” he said to Rogan. “When it was happening. I had never seen these things before. I didn’t see anyone else do this and get back up,” Chapelle said. He also revealed how the press and media attacked his decision. “The drum beat was ‘he’s crazy, he smokes crack ,he’s this and that.’ It was a wild experience. Even the way people close to [me] acted like I had failed or like I ruined my life.” He told Rogan that even close friends and agents would stop calling him in the following years. Despite the tumultuous times, Chapelle confessed that it was “freeing” and explained how it changed his outlook on life. “I started doing stand-up for much better reasons then making it. I still enjoyed it. I started SEEING the places I was performing.” The comic followed this up by detailing how he likes to experience the places he performs at and meet the people that live there rather than treat it like one more location on a tour. (Topic starts at 4:09) Interestingly, Chapelle told Rogan that he was lucky that his decision to walk away from everything paid off, and wouldn’t recommend others following what he did. “I would not recommend quitting your show the way I did, if you can avoid it. I promise I wasn’t trying to be cool. It was a series of trouble-shooting. I’m lucky.” The comic legend also stated that social media played a big role in him getting paid what he was owed. “In another time would I have gotten that money? I don’t think so,” he exclaimed, before crediting comment sections, petition lists, and forums for helping bring awareness to his situation. • Dave Chappelle finally tells Joe Rogan when he’ll do a full podcast – Dexerto

Dave Chappelle finally tells Joe Rogan when he’ll do a full podcast YouTube, PowerfulJREThe Joe Rogan Experience podcast enjoyed a relatively brief appearance by Dave Chappelle on an episode with Donnell Rawlings. And, to the joy of Rogan and Chappelle’s fans, the two set a tentative date for a full show together. [jwplayer 91I9RIGm] Rogan’s audience is gigantic and, as such, the names on his guest list frequently are as well. But, despite murmings of interest, Chappelle has long eluded one of the podcaster’s extensive interviews. That may soon change, as the iconic comedian confirmed that this new JRE setup in Austin suits his fancies and merits a full appearance. A little over two hours into Rogan’s episode, No. 1,567, with Rawlings, headsets plopped off, seats got shifted, and both host and guest stood up to make way for a surprise appearance by Chappelle. Rawlings was glad to reunite with his friend from the Chappelle Show and Rogan seemed excited to finally get the comedian on the mic. All it took was a new bunker studio in Austin, a lit joint, and a cup of coffee before the three were back to talking topics and, without much prying, Chappelle offered to come back on the show for a full episode. The tentative date for that episode? Soon after the presidential inauguration. While spending about an hour chatting would sound like a full podcast to most people, that’s far from what Rogan’s fans have come to expect from his show. So, while Chappelle’s stint on the episode was substantial, he was acutely aware that a more thorough appearance was deserved. After dapping up Rogan and Rawlings, Chappelle took his seat, got situated with some grass and caffeine, and eventually began discussing how much he enjoys Austin, Texas, along with the new studio. “I like this setup a lot, man. It feels homey. You actually just tricked me into doing a podcast. I’m going to come and do it for real, for real. As a matter of fact, I should come after the inauguration.” Rogan, who has mentioned wanting Chappelle on the show numerous times, including in December 2019, was fully on board with the scheduling opportunity: “Let’s do it. That sounds great.”

Short-form video app TikTok has provided a wide variety of one-off viral videos since its inception in 2016. Kyle Scheele planted his own branding inside of a gas station (although we now know that was staged), and just recently viewers’ thoughts were split when a video of an alleged mermaid went viral. Now, A TikToker by the name of RyanSatin went viral after staging a wedding proposal to his wife inside of a Dave & Busters restaurant arcade, leading the company to respond with an offer they could not refuse. Dave & Busters wedding proposal goes viral Uploaded on April 10, 2022, the video shows Ryan and his now-fiance walking into their favorite Dave & Busters restaurant full of arcade games. Those arcade games give the players tickets as a prize, which they can either immediately redeem for an item or save up for something bigger. In the video, it says that the couple has been collecting tickets at Dave & Busters since they began dating. Ryan worked with the management of the establishment to help him propose to his partner. The couple walked up to the prize redemption area where they found a stuffed animal with a wedding ring in a cubby with the label: “Wedding Ring – 7 years worth of Tickets.” At the time of writing, the TikTok video has received over five million views. (Click here if TikTok doesn’t load) Shortly after their video went viral, Ryan posted a screenshot on Twitter with the joke caption: “Dave & Busters, you have 24 hours to respond.” His new fiance replied, jokingly mentioning that if the company doesn’t host their reception, they’ll “leave them” for ChuckECheese. Say you’ll host our wedding reception or we’re leaving you for @ChuckECheese 🥺 — Erica Satin (@badasscaregiver) April 11, 2022 Dave & Busters responds Just hours later, the popular arcade restaurant replied to their comments on Twitter with an invitation for 100 of the couple’s friends to join them for their wedding reception. It will be hosted and paid for by the company. Being that the couple’s engagement just became official a couple of days ago, they don’t quite have a date set for their wedding. When the date gets closer, however, we’ll be sure to share if they post an update on social media. For more entertainment news, check out the “El Gato cat’ printout.

  • Daughter wins Christmas by gifting dad NFL card he sold decades earlier – Dexerto

Daughter wins Christmas by gifting dad NFL card he sold decades earlier TikTok: lindseyswagmomA daughter moved her dad to tears after gifting him with an NFL card he sold many years earlier to provide for their family. Lindsey Moore surprised her dad this Christmas during their Secret Santa exchange between family. Gifting him with the same NFL card he sold decades earlier to provide for his family, Moore’s dad was instantly moved to tears. TikTokers have also reacted to the viral moment, sharing their own sentimental moments during Christmas. Dad moved to tears as he opens same NFL card he sold 30 years earlier Moore’s dad sold his Dan Marino NFL card 30 years ago to bring home extra cash to provide for him and his family. Dan Marino, a former Miami Dolphins quarterback for 17 years, was one of Moore’s dad’s favorite players, making his player card one of his most prized possessions. Moore, having remembered the moment her dad drove to the store when she was seven years old to sell the card, knew she wanted to not only give her dad the gift of the year but also let him know she knew how much it had meant to him 30 years ago. Moore also wrote her dad a heartfelt card describing why she bought the card for him, saying, “Money was tight, so you were selling your most prized possession — at least what I viewed it as. I felt your sacrifice and it taught me that I would do whatever necessary to ensure my future family never needed for anything.” She continued, “It was a lesson that has stuck with me since that moment and taught me the value of the greater good.” The gift ended up moving her dad to tears as he got up to hug Moore for giving him what was probably the most thoughtful gift he’d ever received. TikTokers were also looking for the tissues, as one commented, “When he started crying, I LOST IT.” Others shared similar stories like, “As someone who has sold his prized Gretzky rookie to provide for his kids, I appreciate and respect this a lot.” And, “In my 20’s I cried so hard selling my Dreamcast game collection to make ends meet the guy tried to talk me out of it. This is a lovely moment.” Though it’s unknown how much Moore’s dad initially sold the card for, a Dan Marino player card is now worth nearly $5,000 on eBay.

  • Daughter makes her dad’s novel a best-seller after turning to TikTok for help – Dexerto

Daughter makes her dad’s novel a best-seller after turning to TikTok for help TikTok: stonemaidensA woman is taking social media by storm after she turned to TikTok to help her father’s 11-year-old novel become a best seller on Amazon. Eleven years ago, author Lloyd Devereux Richards wrote a thriller novel following the journey of a forensic anthropologist tailing a serial killer who leaves a curious calling card: Stone figures. Published in 2011, Richards had actually been building the novel for fourteen years prior — but despite finally publishing his life’s work, the story didn’t really go anywhere for some time. That is, until his daughter turned to TikTok for help. She created an account named after her father’s book — “Stone Maidens” — in the hopes that creating a video telling her dad’s story would help shed some light on his creative project. Within just four days, her video has racked up over 41 million views and counting. The heartfelt clip explains that, although he put his family first, he always managed to make time for his book, too. Now, decades later, “Stone Maidens” is the talk of the town and has even soared to the #1 Best-Seller list on Amazon in ‘Police Procedurals.’ Daughter makes dad’s book go viral on TikTok That’s not all — it even sold out within 24 hours thanks to the community over on TikTok, who are praising Richards and his daughter for their newfound achievements. “It’s currently unavailable and number one on Amazon!” one user wrote. “Congrats to him!” “Moments like this are why I stay on this app,” another said. “The love and generosity from people is astounding. There is definitely more good than evil.” Richards’ daughter went on to thank TikTok for propelling her dad’s book to fame. In a follow-up video, she showed her father all of the positive comments his book had received on the platform, causing the author to tear up and say “thank you all morning.” Those interested can purchase a paperback copy “Stone Maidens” on Amazon for $9.00. This is just the latest heartwarming story to take over TikTok after Keith Lee teamed up with a YouTuber to give away $5,000 worth of shoes for people in need.

  • Daughter goes viral for explaining why she comes first in her dad’s life – Dexerto

Daughter goes viral for explaining why she comes first in her dad’s life TikTok: claytorchroniclesA girl has gone viral on TikTok for cleverly explaining why she will always come first in her dad’s life. Being a daddy’s girl isn’t uncommon, as a daughter’s first love tends to be their father. Essentially, he’s the first man a daughter has to look up to — whether there or not, a father’s presence is inevitably one of the strongest in any child’s life. So when one girl explained why she will always come first in her dad’s life, TikTok couldn’t have agreed more with her wholesome reasons. TikTok says the daughter has her dad “wrapped around her finger” As her mom recorded the video that is now viral on TikTok, a girl hugged her dad while explaining why she’ll always be first in his life. Cheekily smiling, she began, “What you fail to remember is that no matter how many times you sleep with this man, you’re not blood-related to him.” She continued, “If this man needed a kidney or a blood transfusion, who would they ask? Me!” Her mom then interrupted to sarcastically question, “Who needs enemies when you have daughters?” The daughter then explained, “I’m just saying, like, you created children, but like, you’re never going to be related to him. If you signed a piece of paper, you guys wouldn’t have to be in each other’s lives anymore.” She finished with, “I’m always in his life because I’m a piece of him.” Puzzled by what had just transpired, her dad responded, “Wow.” Her mom then clapped back even more by captioning the TikTok video, saying, “Lil girl, I’m good, no one is in competition with you for your Daddy’s attention. You wouldn’t even exist without me.” Those who viewed the wholesome father-daughter moment took to the comments to agree with the daughter, saying, “I’m a daddy’s girl, so this makes total sense.” As well as, “That chuckle before that read. She had that locked in the chamber for a while!” Others continued to joke, saying, “Daughter got him wrapped around her finger.” Also, “This is how I need my daughter to be.” The mom also made it a point to mention in the comments that she and her husband’s daughter were home visiting, taking over their “empty nest.” And though she doesn’t live with her parents, it’s clear that nothing could break the bond between her and her father, not even her mom.

  • Date set for first major court hearing in FaZe Clan vs Tfue lawsuit – Dexerto

Date set for first major court hearing in FaZe Clan vs Tfue lawsuit The date for the first major hearing in the lawsuit between esports organisation FaZe Clan and Fortnite player Turner “Tfue” Tenney will take place on the 8th November according to the latest docket entries The hearing will be crucial to the direction the lawsuit heads in as it will see the court make a ruling on whether or not California or New York is a valid jurisdiction for the case. For those of you who haven’t been following this lawsuit here is a summary. Tenney and his legal team believe that his contract is invalid for a number of reasons, one of the most important being that FaZe were operating as a talent agency on behalf of the player, something they did not have the proper licensing to do. They argue that as most of their business and all the business related to Tenney took place in California that state is the appropriate jurisdiction and thus that state’s Talent Agency Act will apply. FaZe have argued that as they are a company incorporated in Delaware and that the contract specifically stipulated that the jurisdiction that would apply was that of New York the California court should rule to dismiss under forum non conveniens. They themselves have sought to have the case heard by a New York court, something that Tenney’s legal team have argued should be dismissed under the Colorado River Abstention Doctrine. This doctrine is invoked when parallel litigation is being carried out, particularly where federal and state court proceedings are simultaneously being carried out to determine the rights of parties with respect to the same questions of law. Under such circumstances, it is argued it makes little sense for two courts to expend the time and effort to achieve a resolution of the question so one is dismissed. In this instance, there is a parallel case filed in the Los Angeles Superior Court and an investigation by the California Labor Commissioner’s Office in addition to the one FaZe filed in New York. FaZe’s lawyers argue that this abstention is invalid, stating in the court documents: “In the instant motion, defendant Turner Tenney (“Tenney”) asks the Court to abstain from exercising its rightful jurisdiction so that this case can be heard instead in a California state court. However, the contract at the heart of this case contains a mandatory and exclusive forum selection clause that requires it to be adjudicated in New York, under New York law. As discussed in detail below, there is no basis for the Court to abstain from exercising its jurisdiction in this case. Tenney, a Florida resident, is a celebrity who is well known for competing in esports as a member of FaZe Clan’s Fortnite esports team. Beginning several months ago, Tenney began denying his contractual obligations to FaZe Clan, and instead sought to compete against FaZe Clan and keep the parties’ shared revenue streams for himself. However, Tenney did not commence an action a New York court, as required by the contract’s forum selection clause. Rather, Tenney commenced an action against FaZe Clan in a California state court and filed a petition with the California Labor Commissioner. FaZe Clan responded by commencing the instant action in New York, consistent with the forum selection clause. Tenney now seeks to wrest this case back to California. But Tenney does not, and cannot, argue either that the contract’s forum selection clause is invalid, or forum non conveniens. Rather, Tenney asks the Court to decline its valid jurisdiction under the exceptional Colorado River abstention doctrine. In so moving, Tenney bears a heavy burden of persuasion…” Tenney’s defence lawyers issued the following counter-argument to these points. “The Colorado River factors warrant abstention. First, as explained in Tenney’s opening brief, these parallel cases present a “danger of piecemeal litigation,” a “paramount” consideration in any Colorado River analysis… If this Court were to conclude that Tenney breached the Gamer Agreement – while lacking the power to determine whether the Gamer Agreement is void ab initio due to Faze Clan’s breach of the TAA – then Tenney would likely not be bound by that determination in California because he would not “have had a full and fair opportunity to contest the prior determination. Second, the parties agree that this case does not involve a res, but the analogy remains apt and helps explain why abstention is appropriate. The Labor Commissioner Proceeding and the LASC Action do not involve a mere “disputed legal question,” as FaZe Clan asserts. They involve a threshold legal question – whether the Gamer Agreement is void ab initio because FaZe Clan has violated the TAA – that can be answered only in those proceedings, much like when a Court has assumed jurisdiction over a res.” Tenney’s team also point out that the other complaints take precedence as they were filed first and they accused FaZe of trying to slow down those other proceedings by not making themselves available for hearings. “Third, the relative progress of this case compared to the Labor Commissioner Proceeding and the LASC Action favors abstention. FaZe Clan concedes as it must that both the Labor Commissioner Proceeding and the LASC Action were filed before this action. In addition, both California actions are moving forward, despite FaZe Clan’s transparent efforts to slow them down. FaZe Clan has just advised the Labor Commissioner that it is completely unavailable between November 18, 2019 and February 16, 2020 for an evidentiary hearing in that matter – a representation belied by FaZe Clan’s evident interest in accelerating this action.” They also point out that California should be a more convenient jurisdiction as FaZe are headquartered in California, something FaZe themselves didn’t dispute or challenge earlier in the proceedings. If California isn’t ruled as a suitable jurisdiction it wouldn’t necessarily end Tenney’s case against the esports organisation but it would significantly hamper some of their arguments and be publicly viewed as a big win for FaZe. We shall keep you up to date on details from the hearing here at Dexerto.

Date and Location for KSI vs Logan Paul UK Press Conference Ahead of YouTube Boxing Fight The second press conference in the build up to the YouTube Boxing fight night between KSI and Logan Paul, as well as ComedyShortsGamer and Jake Paul, has been announced to take place in the UK. The first press conference was held in Los Angeles in June, and saw a packed crowd witness the back and forth between the two sets of brothers, before it came to an abrupt end. Logan Paul was infuriated as KSI mocked his apology video released following the infamous ‘suicide forest’ debacle, in which Paul had been chastised by the YouTube community and mainstream media for filming the corpse of a suicide victim in a vlog. When KSI began his impression of the apology, Paul reached for his bandana which set off a pushing match on stage resulting in a swift end to the event. More: Streamer with No Viewers Has Very Underwhelming Reaction to Shroud Hosting Him with 33,000 People – But there is no doubt that the press conference did its job in ramping up anticipation for the big fight on August 25th, and a second one was expected but this time to be held in the UK. The UK conference will take place on the evening of July 18th, in the York Hall in London, with all four fighters to be in attendance. MMA Fighter Darren Till Comments on Logan Paul Potentially Joining UFC Mixed martial artist Darren ‘The Gorilla’ Till didn’t take kindly to Logan Paul potentially joining the UFC. Both praise and criticism have surrounded Logan Paul since his boxing match with KSI on August 25th. While Brendan Schaub and other fighting personalities recognized Pauls’ success, Till wasn’t having any of it. Till published a Tweet on August 30th criticizing Paul, citing the difficulty of dedicating one’s life to the UFC and calling Logan an “embarrassment” to the sport. “Every day is hard as fuck, every day is a little more harder on your physical & mental state. Then ye get a **** coming along like this youtuber fella thinking he can mix it in the @ufc … don’t embarrass our sport.” 600https://twitter.com/darrentill2/status/1035236390731051008 Till’s comments come in response to an earlier tweet from Paul, in which he expressed heavy interest in joining the UFC as a chance to utilize his background in wrestling. “the thought of securing a fight in the @UFC is exciting… could finally use my wrestling background… but i hear some other celebrities/athletes want to catch these hands first? ?” 600https://twitter.com/LoganPaul/status/1034826250198503429 While Till’s comments express distaste towards YouTubers capitalizing off of fighting, others have felt differently. Comedian and fighter Brendan Schaub had praise for the YouTuber’s ability to garner such a wide audience, stating that the UFC itself could learn from Paul’s promotional skills. Schaub likewise mentioned the possibility of UFC executives looking to Paul as a potential fighter, citing his colorful past in high school athletics and boxing ability. Whether Paul will join the ranks of the UFC’s fighters or not remains to be seen, but the commentary surrounding the debacle brings many takes on a conversation of bringing new blood into the ring.

Phil has claimed that the ban was due to an error on Twitch’s part, stating he received a false copyright claim due to playing the ‘Crash 4’ beta. Twitch has processed his counter-claim, unbanning his channel in the process. THE GOOD NEWS: My Twitch channel was literally JUST UNBANNED as they just processed my counter-DMCA claim. SO I WILL BE STREAMING TONIGHT! It will be Fire EMblem Three Houses ENDGAME at 6:45pm PDT! See you there and DON’T MISS IT!!! — Things Are HEATING UP! (@TheyCallMeDSP) October 5, 2020 Original story begins below: Well-known Twitch streamer ‘DarksydePhil’ is hitting back at the website after being banned for the fourth time over what he’s claiming is a “false DMCA takedown” over copyright issues. Fans of DarksydePhil got a bit of a shock after learning that his Twitch channel had been banned from the platform on October 5. After becoming aware of the issue, Phil took to Twitter to explain the situation, claiming that he’d received a DMCA takedown due to playing the Crash 4 beta — a game he argues he wasn’t even playing on stream, as the beta took place several weeks ago. “I have just received a false DMCA takedown against my Crash 4 stream for ‘the Crash 4 beta,’” he clarified. “Not even the same [game] I’m playing on the stream! The automated bulls**t of @twitch @twitchsupport continues.” I have just received a false DMCA takedown against my Crash 4 stream for “”the Crash 4 beta.”” Not even the same I’m playing on the stream! The automated bullshit of @twitch @twitchsupport continues. I now have to issue a counter-notification and will stream on YT. — Things Are HEATING UP! (@TheyCallMeDSP) October 5, 2020 Stating that he must now issue a “counter-notification” to fight the potentially unjust ban, the streamer announced that he will be continuing his playthrough of the game on YouTube, instead (the full version of which is now available for play). While Phil’s fans have shown sympathy to what seems to be an error on Twitch’s end, some critics are finding delight in his ban, as this is far from the first time he’s been given the boot — nor the first time he’s incited ire from his haters. Okay all, so I’m going to set up a “”just chilling”” stream on YouTube for the time being. PLEASE, come hang out with me and support if you can. I was already behind this week because of chargebacks and NOW I cannot stream on Twitch bc of False DMCA so this sucks BIG TIME. — Things Are HEATING UP! (@TheyCallMeDSP) October 5, 2020 In fact, DarksydePhil has received a whopping four bans from Twitch, this latest one included, racking up quite a track record for the popular broadcaster. Phil has also caught flak in the past for his comments on making racially-insensitive jokes, claiming that, “It’s funny to joke around and say things that, in a serious setting, might be racially insensitive, but they’re not really meant, and therefore, they can be pretty comedic.” Phil was allegedly not given a reason for his second-most recent ban from Twitch, which occurred in July of this year, although critics have hypothesized that his comments on racially-charged jokes may have been to blame. That being said, it does seem like his latest ban could be an error on Twitch’s part, leaving both Phil and his fanbase awaiting answers as he continues his playthrough on another platform.

  • Daredevil YouTuber dies in tragic parachute accident – Dexerto

Daredevil YouTuber dies in tragic parachute accident Ruben Carbonell, Facebook / Daily MailDaredevil YouTuber Ruben Carbonell fell to his death in a tragic accident while attempting a stunt at a cement factory. He was 29 years old. Stunt people and daredevils have been defying the laws of physics for decades – and now, thanks to the advent of the internet, they’re able to record and even live stream their antics for the world to see. However, serious injuries and even deaths are common in this line of work, with many daredevils having lost their lives in attempts to perform insane stunts – one of which tragically occurred to a Spanish YouTuber. YouTuber Ruben Carbonell brought his stunts to the net, recording his performances and uploading them to his channel for the world to see. 600With a small audience of 111 subscribers, Carbonell (whose channel name has yet to be verified) specialized extreme sports and stunts, and took his work to the next level by sneaking into a cement factory in Alicante, Spain on August 7. According to reports from the Daily Mail, Carbonell infiltrated the factory in an attempt to jump from a 150 foot chimney, from which he would deploy a parachute to land on the ground below. Despite using the parachute as a precaution, the chute failed to deploy, with 29-year-old Carbonell dying instantly upon hitting the ground after jumping from the tower. 600A friend who was with Carbonell alerted authorities after the tragic accident occurred, with investigation still underway as to why the parachute failed to deploy. Both Carbonell and his friend reportedly jumped a fence to get inside of Cemex, a cement company in San Vicente del Raspeig, Spain, which reportedly contains security footage of the two making their way inside the factory. While Carbonell tragically lost his life due to the accident, he wouldn’t be the first YouTuber to have trespassed in a restricted area for content, by far. YouTube duo Sam and Colby were arrested after trespassing on a construction site at an abandoned school building in mid-January, later released the following morning after posting bail. 600Known for uploading their explorations of cordoned-off areas and abandoned sites, it came as no surprise that the two were eventually caught in the act – but help for Carbonell came far too late, having ultimately died as a result of the accident during his dangerous stunt.

  • “Daphne” takes over Twitter as people marvel at runner’s robotic speed – Dexerto

“Daphne” takes over Twitter as people marvel at runner’s robotic speed Carolco Pictures / TikTok, @ubrzatiTwitter is absolutely losing it over Daphne the Runner, based on a TikTok workout video that shows a softball player named Daphne flying full-speed with the calm composure of a robot assassin. There’s running hard and then there’s moving fast. Some people have to put a lot of effort into keeping pace at over 19 miles per hour (maximum human speed is around 28 mph, after all) — in fact, most humans do. But then there’s Daphne, who seems to maintain peak speed while looking like she’s on a casual jaunt around the park. In a workout video posted by UbrZati, a speed-training workout facility in Melbourne, Florida, a few girls are shown maintaining 19-plus mph speed on a treadmill. Despite the speeds being similar, one of them is not like the rest. Known solely as Daphne, the calm runner has become Twitter’s latest meme as users speculate about her origin story. Before diving into the memes, it’s worth taking a look at Daphne’s poise under pressure. Each girl is going very fast, but one (and you know which one already) is not quite like the others. 19 MPH?! This is incredible 😤 (via ubrzati/TikTok) pic.twitter.com/Lbe7OgmUHH — espnW (@espnW) March 17, 2021 First, examine Daphne’s form. Head: forward, firmly in place, eyes set directly ahead. Arms: unwavering, clean, methodical swipes to maintain velocity. Legs: sharply paced, maintaining form. Typical human tendencies involve heavy breathing and instances of bodily effort when placed under physical stress. Those tendencies are seen in the other runners, who seem to be working hard to keep their speed. Daphne? She looks like it’s another day on the job, as if she’s been trained…or rather, programmed for this. And that’s precisely where the memes went, noticing that Daphne’s sure-headed style is closer to a natural predator or assassin than almost anything else. Daphne is a problem. Everybody else looking like they are being chased… Daph? Hunting. https://t.co/UIW081IRl8 — Joe Briggs, Esq. (@JoeBriggsEsq) March 18, 2021 “Almost anything else” is a key point there, as others have quickly pointed out that Daphne might not be the average hunter or assassin. This clip makes it look like she could be built for this. Daphne built different as fuck , she gotta be a T-1000 https://t.co/rzg580hYsu — GUAP (@guapdad4000) March 18, 2021 Referencing the T-1000 android assassin from the Terminator franchise, numbers of people recognized Daphne’s robotic form as incredibly unique and movielike. Of course, there are also memes noting that this might not even be Daphne’s “final form,” connecting her casual demeanor to that of Dragon Ball Z’s Frieza before transforming. Whatever the case may be, it seems that Daphne’s commitment to training has paid off — as people are impressed with her ability to handle strenuous work so comfortably.

  • DansGaming slams Twitch after emote is removed for ‘sexual content’ – Dexerto

DansGaming slams Twitch after emote is removed for ‘sexual content’ Popular streamer DansGaming has hit out at Twitch after a new emote was removed from his channel, and his ability to add any others without moderation was stripped for the foreseeable future. The easiest way Twitch viewers have to interact with their favorite streamer is through being active in the chat. That can be anything from sending helpful tips, to joining in with some hilarious spam with emotes. Yet, for DansGaming, who has been streaming for ten years, currently has close to 800,000 followers, and his own global emote on the livestreaming platform, one emote in particular has become a problem – with Twitch striking it down for ‘sexual content,’ even though it seems pretty harmless on the outside. 500During his November 9 stream, the popular broadcaster tweeted his confusion over the new ‘danPotty’ emote – which showed the cartoon character version of himself sat on the toilet – being removed. DansGaming also explained that he had to shut down his stream because of how “pissed” he was at the situation. “If I had thought anything about this was wrong I wouldn’t have uploaded it,” he said, before turning on Twitch and making reference to the Alinity ‘animal abuse’ controversy. “The inconsistency of the moderation team from butt emotes to people tossing animals is getting sad,” added the popular variety streamer, before following up with: “Twitch has had a problem with being consistent about what content they moderate.” I had to stop streaming because I’m so pissed, my ability to upload emotes instantly was removed as well. If I had thought anything about this was wrong I wouldn’t have uploaded it. The inconsistency of the moderation team from butt emotes to people tossing animals is getting sad https://t.co/UqreAdMPFp — DansGaming (@Dansgaming) November 9, 2019 Now that I had a couple hours to calm down. Regardless of this one incident. Twitch has had a problem with being consistent about what content they moderate. For example, no nude torsos because of sexual content, but other things like Orgasm Faces aren’t moderated for this reason — DansGaming (@Dansgaming) November 9, 2019 While a number of other broadcasters replied with their own confusion on the matter, including those who have been in similar situations, DansGaming’s emote creator noted the hypocrisy in some emotes vs his own. “Staff told me the decision was correct, danPotty was sexual even tho it was a goofy blob creature,” tweeted Cassian, before explaining that she was taking a break so she didn’t tweet something she may regret. DannyAarons goes viral with hilarious reaction to Harry Kane’s missed penalty Twitch: DannyAaronsBritish YouTuber and Twitch streamer DannyAarons has gone viral as a result of his hilarious reaction to Harry Kane’s missed penalty at the Qatar World Cup. DannyAarons is one of those personalities that seem to live and breathe football. His Instagram is full of pictures from various stadiums and his YouTube following has skyrocketed as viewers flock to his FIFA content. Being an Englishman, he naturally wanted his national team to progress during the 2022 World Cup in Qatar. He even went to the trouble of setting up a watch-along where fans from around the world could see his reaction to all of England’s games live. But the stream did not have a happy ending, as DannyAarons spent the last 30 minutes of the 4-hour watch along utterly devastated after Harry Kane missed his penalty and England were subsequently eliminated in the Quarter Finals by France. DannyAarons’ hilarious Twitch reaction goes viral As Kane limbered up to take the penalty, Tottenham fan Danny was talking up a storm about how there is no way that Kane could miss. “Lads he’s done it once before, he will do it again. Harry Kane penalty is inevitable,” he said. But right as Kane’s shot skid over the top of the crossbar, missing the penalty shot that could have tied the England vs France game, Danny fell completely quiet, sinking into his chair. The reaction is hilarious, and saddening at the same time. “I know I should be making content, but I actually feel ill,” said Danny right after his reaction to the penalty. He would go on to spend the rest of the stream much quieter and reserved, compared to his usual boastful and cheery persona. The clip has amassed over 100,000 views on Twitch at the time of writing. It goes a long way to show why football fans love and hate the beautiful game.

  • Danny Masterson accuser slams That 70’s Show costars Ashton Kutcher & Mila Kunis – Dexerto

Danny Masterson accuser slams That 70’s Show costars Ashton Kutcher & Mila Kunis Instagram: aplusk / Instagram: chrissiebixlerOne of Danny Masterson’s accusers, Chrissie Carnell Bixler, has slammed Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis in a series of Instagram stories following the couple’s controversial character letters. Danny Masterson has been sentenced to 30 years behind bars for the rape of two women, but for his That 70’s Show costars, it seems things are just starting to heat up. Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis have been in hot water ever since their character letters for Masterson were made public, resulting in a wave of backlash. In a joint video, the pair have since stated that the letters “were intended for the judge to read and not to undermine the testimony of the victims”, but many have called out the couple for their “scripted” apology. And now one of Masterson’s accusers, Chrissie Carnell Bixler, has weighed in. Bixler slammed the couple in a series of Instagram stories in which she insinuated some troubling allegations and even called Kutcher “Just as sick” as Masterson. “Dear Ashton I know the secrets your ‘role model’ keeps for you,” Bixler wrote, referring to Kutcher’s character letter in which he called Masterson his role model. She also claimed to have “heard everything”, hinting at a secretive phone call between Kutcher and Masterson on February 21, 2001. It didn’t take long for internet sleuths to link the date back to the murder of Ashley Ellerin, a 22-year-old fashion student who had started dating Kutcher earlier that same month after the pair met at a party. Ellerin was later murdered in her LA apartment by the “Hollywood Ripper”, Michael Gargiulo, on February 21 — a night she had been supposed to go out with Kutcher. Now, some are theorizing that there might have been more to that night than first believed. And Bixler is certainly insinuating so, saying “I heard the plan. In my opinion, you’re just as sick as your ‘mentor’.” When it came to Kunis, Bixler prayed for her to “process what you experienced as a child on that set” and encouraged her to consider therapy for the “big brother” relationship she shared with Masterson. “You all must forget I was there the whole time those first 5 years of The 70’s Show,” Bixler said. “I remember everything.” And it seems only time will tell what exactly Bixler meant by that. • Danny Gonzalez begs people to stop bizarre TikTok Joker trend – Dexerto

Danny Gonzalez begs people to stop bizarre TikTok Joker trend Instagram: dannygonzalez / TikTok: rizxtarr[jwplayer ftb8P7Xy]Popular YouTuber Danny Gonzalez has asked TikTok content creators to stop following the bizarre ‘Joker’ trend on the app, with users contorting their faces resulting in strange and uncomfortable videos. As with any other content platform, TikTok users can get huge by following trends and appealing to what is popular at the time, as evidenced by the increasingly-famous dances and lip-syncing commonly performed by the likes of Charli D’Amelio and Addison Rae. That doesn’t mean, though, that all trends are a good thing, and Danny has found one that has made him (and now his viewers) wildly uncomfortable. In certain corners of TikTok, a ‘Joker’ trend has slowly been emerging, with users contorting their faces and seemingly acting like intimidating superheroes while making what is supposedly a face like the Batman character. During a video simply titled “Joker TikToks Stop Please,” Danny pleads with two popular TikTok stars – who have almost 14 million followers between them – to stop making the videos, while also asking his viewers not to click off the video because of how “uncomfortable” the viewing is. Gonzalez calls out the two main creators who popularized the trend, rizxtarr and faraaz_zs, showcasing some clips of them as the Joker and some of the weird things that occur. In the first clip, you see rizxtarr simply crack his neck and screw his face up, taking on the Joker aesthetic, which would maybe have been fine had it not escalated to whatever it has become since. Through several TikTok videos, riz and faraaz prevent crime and pick up women when channeling their inner Joker, and Gonzalez is clearly mind blown at how there is supposed to be some correlation between the Tiktokkers’ faces and their new-found abilities. It’s almost impossible to understand how or why this trend started, or what the intention really is, but there’s obviously enough demand for Joker videos as evidenced by these two creators’ incredible follower counts. Who knows – maybe most of us are just behind the times on this one, but it’s fair to say that this is pretty out there as far as TikTok content goes.

  • Danny Gonzalez accuses TikToker of “maliciously” copying content – Dexerto

Danny Gonzalez accuses TikToker of “maliciously” copying content YouTube: Danny GonzalezPopular YouTuber Danny Gonzalez called out TikToker Neumane for allegedly “copying” other creators’ content. The former Vine star explained to viewers why he thinks the online personality is being “malicious.” Originally created in 2016, TikTok has exploded into one of the most popular social media platforms in 2021. While the site often inspires creators to borrow from each other, the platform has recently been embroiled in controversy surrounding content theft. According to YouTuber Danny Gonzalez, TikToker Neumane is not only copying other channels original ideas, but has “maliciously” found a loophole to trick the platform’s crediting system. Danny Gonzalez says TikTok star is “copying” content In his latest upload, Danny Gonzalez called out TikTok user Neumane for allegedly copying other creators’ original ideas. While he acknowledged that TikTok has a history of users borrowing content from each other based on trends, the 26-year-old argues that this is different. “It’s not just like Neumane was just hopping on trends and not giving credit to the person who originally started it,” he said. “Neumane was directly copying people’s ideas word-for-word, and in many cases lip-syncing their audio. But then he would go out of his way to make sure it didn’t post to the original creator’s audio.” Read More: xQc claims cancel culture isn’t real – The YouTuber then called the TikToker’s methods malicious: “He would be mouthing words that someone else is speaking, but when you click on the audio, it just takes you to a sound that he owns. It seems pretty malicious. TikTok makes it so easy to use a popular sound and credit the person. This dude is going out of his way make it look like his own sound.” (Topic starts at 2:07) According to Gonzalez, other TikTok channels have called out Neumane for taking their content such as popular creator Joey Bailey. The online entertainer made a side-by-side compilation showing all the times his content had allegedly been taken without credit. In the video, Bailey claimed that Neumane messaged him on Instagram and told him to take the video down. “You can kindly take it down and we can just be cool and move on from all of this s**t. Or you can just leave it up and have a lot of enemies from here on out,” he allegedly said. Danny Gonzalez addressed Neumane’s message to Bailey and exclaimed, “It’s just such a weird threat too. I mean I guess he has a lot of followers. But what is he gonna do post a TikTok being like “Hey guys, for those of you who don’t know I’ve been stealing this guys content a bunch lately. And he has the gall to call me out for it.” As far as Neumane’s take on the situation, the star argued in a livestream that he’s not in the wrong. “It’s not who made it first, it’s who does it better. I’m an actor, not a writer,” he said. The situation has sparked an interesting debate on original content on the popular video platform.

  • Danny Duncan responds to abuse allegations from former employee – Dexerto

Danny Duncan responds to abuse allegations from former employee YouTube: Danny DuncanYouTube star Danny Duncan has published an official response to former employee and fellow content creator Aaron ‘SunhatKid’ Hall, who accused Duncan of multiple instances of physical abuse. On December 3, Hall released a video accusing Danny Duncan — a YouTube prankster with over 6 million subscribers — of purported physical abuse. In his video, Hall claimed that Duncan had repeatedly punched him in the head, pressured him to sign a contract that allegedly prevented him from collaborating with other influencers, and even said that Duncan had threatened him with a knife. Hall also cited himself as being the brunt of many jokes, claiming that “no one cared” about him unless he was “acting like a clown” for Duncan’s content. On December 7, Duncan released an official response video to these accusations, beginning with a recorded conversation between himself and Hall, who was purportedly “unhappy” with not being included in Duncan’s videos. In the conversation, Duncan can be heard saying that he was “bothered” by Hall purportedly “threatening” him. Hall responded by wondering what he would do “next” after being on his own, saying: “I gotta play it smart, I gotta play the LA game. … I think I’m good at starting drama.” Danny Duncan denies abuse allegations from SunhatKid Duncan then reacted to Hall’s accusation video, saying that he had never forced the YouTuber to unfollow anyone on social media. He claimed that the wrestling and head-punching altercation was a “joke,” citing multiple recorded instances of roughhousing with friends. Duncan stated that he and Hall had spoken three times about his concerns prior to his video, and added that none of the purported abuse had been brought up in these discussions. Instead, Duncan claimed that Aaron had felt “ripped off” by his contract. View this post on Instagram In his response, Duncan also claimed that Aaron had “almost killed” his dog after leaving the animal in a cage for “days” during his first tour, and even said that Hall had nearly “destroyed” Duncan’s “brand-new house” with water damage from not mopping up water from his shower. “This dude is out of his mind,” Duncan said. “He makes a mess with everything. … I am a d**k at times, I’m not gonna ever deny that. This is how I would handle it. I’m not saying this is the best way, but I’m not an f**king abuser, and I don’t beat him.” “I loved Aaron. I literally would have done anything for him. Anything.” SunhatKid reacts to Danny Duncan response video Fellow influencer JiDion later called Aaron Hall during a live stream to discuss Duncan’s response video. Hall repeatedly accused Duncan of lying and denied creating his accusation video to boost his channel. Hall also claimed the audio discussions between himself and Duncan were taken “out of context.” “He’s lying,” Hall said. “That’s all I’m gonna leave it at. He’s lying. I was very, very distraught when I found out that he lied. Supposedly he was always so honest, but his fans are gonna find out he’s a liar. They’re gonna find out.” No further statements have been made regarding the situation at the time of writing.

  • Danny Duncan responds after accusations of staging a ‘shooting’ prank in mall – Dexerto

Danny Duncan responds after accusations of staging a ‘shooting’ prank in mall YouTube: Danny DuncanAfter Danny Duncan was accused of staging a fake ‘shooting’ prank in an El Paso mall, the YouTuber has clarified that there was no such prank, and that he was just there to buy shirts for his fans. Danny Duncan is a hugely popular creator on YouTube, known for his pranks and videos that feature crazy stunts and funny exchanges with strangers. He has over 5.6 million subscribers on the platform, and his videos regularly get millions of views. However, after some miscommunication at a mall in El Paso Texas on April 24, many initially believed that the creator had tried to prank attendees by pretending there was an active shooter. The police department explained that there was a “mad rush” of people as a result of a “celebrity” who was visiting the mall, which led to rumors that shots had been fired. While officers cleared the area around the mall as a precaution, it became apparent that the rush was a result of people’s excitement surrounding Danny’s presence. Apparently a celebrity at the mall caused a rush of persons and rumor spread of shots fired. No shots fired. If there are injuries only due to mad rush. https://t.co/ObSZ5omqXl — EL PASO POLICE DEPT (@EPPOLICE) April 24, 2021 Rumors then began to spread that the star had intentionally lied about there being a shooter in the mall as part of a prank video, but Danny was quick to shut those down on Twitter. “I went to Zumiez in the mall to buy shirts for my fans,” he wrote. “There was no prank at all going on. I was just visiting El Paso and hanging out with my supporters. Feel free to ask a Zumiez employee directly or mall security directly they were all with me during this time.” He also added: “For context people are saying I did a prank where we yelled there was a shooter in the mall. Which is something I’d never do.” https://twitter.com/DannyDuncan69/status/1386106922177282048 It’s not uncommon for large crowds of fans to gather if an influencer or celebrity appears in a public place, but the sudden rush of people alarmed some shoppers and staff members who weren’t aware of the YouTuber’s presence and thought there could be a legitimate danger. While it didn’t take long for rumors to spread, Danny was quick to put out his version of events.

  • Danny Duncan kicked out of Walmart alongside viral ex-employee Gail Lewis – Dexerto

Danny Duncan kicked out of Walmart alongside viral ex-employee Gail Lewis YouTube: Danny DuncanDanny Duncan’s latest video has seen him team up with TikTok star Gail Lewis, only for both to be kicked out of Walmart. Controversial YouTuber and vlogger Danny Duncan has teamed up with viral TikTok star Gail Lewis in a bizarre collaboration that saw the two take a trip to Walmart. Lewis rose to stardom by famously quitting her job at the American multinational retail corporation after having spent 10 years with the company. Now, she has returned to where it all began, only this time, Lewis brought company. After a hospital visit ended with him in a wheelchair, Duncan declared he needed a “strong female presence” to help with his recovery — Lewis. The two then headed to Walmart to see what mischief could be made. Purchasing some new fits and finding the electronics department, Lewis “hacked” the PA system to make an announcement. In a tribute to her first viral video, Lewis said, “Attention Walmart, this is Gail Lewis, Morris, Illinois 8-4-4, signing out, good night.” While Duncan and Lewis were amused by their antics, employees of the store were not. A manager informed Lewis that the media were not allowed in-store and neither was photography of any sort, kicking the pair out. Despite vacating Walmart, police were called in for trespassing. However, the officers were in good spirits after recognizing both Duncan and Lewis, even joking around with them. Despite explaining the situation to Walmart, management told police they “only [wanted] the YouTuber,” resulting in a 1-year ban from the store. And although Duncan was the only one targeted by Walmart, Lewis chose to “go down with him.” Viewers obsessed over the unexpected partnership between YouTuber and TikTok star in the comments, hailing it as “the collab we didn’t know we needed.” “Loved the dynamic between these two! Would love to see more content together,” one person wrote. Another said, “Danny and Gail. Who [would have] thought!! Dream team.”

  • Danny Duncan gets in heated altercation with fan’s family who threw drink at his car – Dexerto

Danny Duncan gets in heated altercation with fan’s family who threw drink at his car YouTube: Danny DuncanPopular YouTuber Danny Duncan filmed a heated confrontation he got into with the family of one of his fans, who threw a drink at his car after being unsatisfied with the influencer’s conversational skills. The life of a celebrity isn’t always an easy one. Plenty of high-profile internet stars have documented their run-ins with overzealous fans, from viewers who trespass onto their private property to stalkers who send threatening messages. In Danny Duncan’s case, it’s not unusual for him to peeve off the occasional bystander thanks to the over-the-top nature of his comedic videos… but one fan took things to the next level. During a June 29 video, Duncan showed security footage from a restaurant he was eating in, claiming that one of the diners was staring at him the entire time. After moving seats so he could avoid being in his line of sight, the fan came up to him and asked if he was Danny Duncan, to which he lied and replied “no,” seemingly off-put by the fan’s constant staring. Once Duncan drove away from the restaurant, the family followed — and even threw a drink at his car while they were stopped at a red light. This resulted in a not-so-friendly chase between Duncan’s posse and the offending fan, which saw the fan’s family van nearly driven off the road. The party finally had a confrontation in the parking lot of a Circle K gas station, which resulted in some not-so-friendly conversation where a woman riding in the van’s passenger side claimed that the drink-throwing never occurred. Duncan got upset that the woman had apparently lied about the situation, with the woman claiming he’d been “rude” after her son wanted to speak to him at the restaurant. The altercation ended once law enforcement was called to diffuse the situation. “I never start no issues with anyone,” Duncan said of the argument. “Ever. But when they start it with me and we finish it, how the f**k am I the bully?” “Things just get out of control sometimes, you know?” he continued. “I love my fans. Anyone that comes up to me. You don’t gotta stare at me for 30 f**king minutes like a weirdo at a restaurant.” The YouTuber made it clear that he’s willing to hang out and take pictures with fans… provided they’re not weird about it (or throw drinks at his car).

  • Danny Duncan destroys house with indoor baseball pitching machine – Dexerto

Danny Duncan destroys house with indoor baseball pitching machine Instagram/YouTube: Danny Duncan[jwplayer mgzBNoPb]YouTuber Danny Duncan has left his home in tatters after bringing a baseball pitching machine indoors and practicing his swing. Duncan is known for his pranks and high-energy videos, which typically consist of doing questionable things such as cutting the roof of his Tesla or jumping off of bridges into the lakes beneath. That said, whatever he’s doing clearly works, as he has racked up over 4.4 million subscribers on the platform and he accumulates millions of views with every video he puts out. Now, Danny has decided to bring that energy indoors, putting a baseball pitching machine in his kitchen to perfect his swing. As you could imagine, the room didn’t end up looking pretty by the time he was done, though that probably wasn’t the aim anyway. As balls were fed into the pitching machine, the content creator was taking swings at each and every one, occasionally hitting himself or others around him but, more importantly, doing some serious damage to the house. By the end of the video, you can see that some purchases are going to have to be made, as huge, baseball-shaped dents lined the walls of the room and the windows directly opposite him look to be on the verge of smashing to smithereens. Timestamp 10:59 It became a little more concerning when Danny’s niece, Isabelle, turned up and there was glass lining one side of the room from the cracked windows and smashed lightbulb, but she seemed happy enough with it. Though, she didn’t exactly approve of the new decor, asking Danny why he “broke the house.” While this might be entertaining, you’ve got to wonder what Danny could do next – and needless to say, whatever it is, it will probably be as fun as it is stupid.

Danielle Cohn hits out at Brooklyn Queen for “trying to start drama” Instagram: Danielle Cohn/Brooklyn QueenAs Danielle Cohn’s very public break up with fellow TikToker Mikey Tua continues, it looks like now the Brooklyn Queen has also become embroiled in the situation. Fans were shocked when Cohn announced that she and Tua – who had previously gotten matching tattoos – had broken up for the second time since December. In response to a fan questioning whether the two were still together on 28 April, Cohn said, “I hope he is doing ok, but we aren’t together anymore.” However, the situation started to get messy when TikTok star Brooklyn Queen – who is managed by Mikey Tua’s mom, Katie Tua – uploaded a TikTok with Mikey on 30 April with the caption “Who’s his ex-girlfriend? Right answers only.” Along with fans, Cohn appeared unimpressed with Queen’s TikTok and “unnecessary” caption, commenting “respectfully, don’t talk about me again.” The situation then escalated when drama page TikTok Room posted the exchange on their Instagram, which Brooklyn claimed led to racially charged comments towards her: “Is it the caption y’all are mad about or my color?” In response to these claims, Cohn also replied to the TikTok Room post: “Why are you bringing race into this? Girl, you seriously need to chill and get your views elsewhere rather than trying to start drama with other people.” Danielle then blamed Queen’s manager Katie Tua, for the drama: “I’m sure Brooklyn is a sweet girl and Katie is just trying to get her to get fame off me, but come on, to bring race into this?” Brooklyn later clarified that she wasn’t accusing Cohn of racism – rather, she was referring to some Instagram users commenting on TikTok Room’s repost of her TikTok with Mikey. However, she did tell Danielle in her Instagram comment that “telling me this isn’t about race is beyond offensive.” View this post on Instagram “You are not black so you can never understand what it feels like to be called racist slurs,” she added. “We can agree to disagree on the caption, but I will never agree to anyone shading me for the color of my skin.” Neither Cohn or her ex have responded to Queen’s latest comments, although Mikey did publicly profess his love for Danielle on his Instagram story and asked if they could talk about their relationship in private.

  • Daniella Perkins criticizes Addison Rae “staying silent” about old clips – Dexerto

Daniella Perkins criticizes Addison Rae “staying silent” about old clips YT: Daniella Perkins/IG: Addison RaeDaniella Perkins, famous actress and YouTube star, has called on TikTok sensation Addison Rae to speak out over some old clips that have resurfaced on social media. There has been heightened tension in recent months around social injustice, and big stars across social media have been using their platform to speak out, including Addison Rae. But, some of world’s most popular TikTok stars have also been accused of racism, leading to heightened scrutiny of influencers. While Addison Rae has been vocal about the BLM movement, Daniella Perkins recently encouraged the TikTok star to speak out and distance herself from some past behavior, which she believes to be problematic. In a YouTube video based around “becoming” Addison Rae, Perkins explains that she admired Rae’s support for the Black Lives Matter protests. However, recent clips that have surfaced have made Perkins question her support for the TikTok star. “Long story short, things have been resurfacing from Addison’s past,” Perkins said. She showed a clip from an old Addison Rae video, in which Rae allegedly encouraged another TikTokker to say a racial slur. “I’m kind of hurt by all this stuff,” Perkins said. “Just listen, okay. I just feel like you’re not 14, you can’t be like ‘I didn’t know the n word was bad’… because you were 19, you know right from wrong. There were so many comments for you to read, I just don’t understand why she chose to read the one comment that mentioned the n word.” Timestamp: 6:59 Perkins also cites a tweet from roughly a year ago, in which Addison Rae linked an ‘all lives matter’ video. “Maybe she’s changed the way she sees things,” Perkins continued, “but like, we don’t know because Addison hasn’t said anything… the worst part about it is that she hasn’t said anything.” She said that Rae’s recent behavior clashes with the things from her past, so she wants Rae to speak up to clarify the matters. Perkins stated that Rae “staying silent” on these matters may “confuse” her fans. Perkins finished: “Addison, please, just say something about everything that’s going on… At the end of the day, your supporters need to know that you support them. It hurt me, I can only imagine how much it can hurt your fans. Just say something, own up to your mistakes.” As of the publication of this article, Rae has not commented publicly on the clips and tweets that have resurfaced.

At the age of 31, Radcliffe isn’t exactly ‘old,’ but considering he was the face of one of the most popular fictional series’ in history at the age of 11, it’s hard for many to imagine him outside of the realms of Hogwarts and his adolescence. That said, he’s now fast approaching the age Harry was at in the prologue of the final Harry Potter book, which fast-forwarded 17 years to when he was 35, a stat sure to throw lifelong Potter fans in a loop. Radcliffe has aged, and he’s become painfully aware of it in recent years thanks to two relatively new phenomena: Minecraft and Olivia Rodrigo. During an interview with WIRED, where he answered questions suggested by Google auto-complete, a question about Minecraft came up and Radcliffe had to admit that the blocky sandbox game confused him. “Minecraft and Olivia Rodrigo have been two of the ‘Oh, I’m old’ moments of recently,” he admitted. “Minecraft obviously, a few years ago, I was playing with my godson, and I was saying all the old person things… It seems very cool, I just can’t do it.” He continued: “And then, Olivia Rodrigo was at the White House and I was like ‘Oh, you’re famous enough to be at the White House, and this is the first time I’m hearing about you!’ But I completely accept that that is on me, not anyone else.” Timestamp 10:49 Admitting that they have been “real watershed moments” for him, Radcliffe’s insistence over the years to stay away from social media has clearly had a bit of an impact on his knowledge of new trends. Though he has claimed to be a gamer in the past, perhaps his tastes grew somewhere outside of the Minecraft realm over the years. As for Rodrigo, she’s fast becoming one of the most popular pop stars on the planet, so he’ll definitely be hearing more of her over the coming years.

  • Daniel Howell explains the reason behind his year-long YouTube hiatus – Dexerto

Daniel Howell explains the reason behind his year-long YouTube hiatus YouTube: AmazingPhilDan & Phil are one of YouTube’s most popular duos and OG content creators — but while Phil has been fairly active on the platform, Dan mysteriously went quiet, only reappearing on the site after a year of radio silence. British YouTube duo Daniel Howell & Phil Lester have garnered a massive fanbase ever since they began creating videos in 2006, hailed for their relatable sense of humor and long-lasting friendship. Last year, Howell uploaded a video that quickly rose to the top of YouTube’s trending page, simply titled, “Basically, I’m Gay.” The 45-minute long, soul-baring video featured a sit-down with Dan’s fans, where he discussed his sexual orientation and gave advice to those in his audience who may be discovering their own identities. However, the YouTuber went quiet shortly thereafter and hadn’t uploaded or appeared in a video for an entire year until January 4, 2021, when he sat down beside Phil in a joint upload to discuss his whereabouts. What do I want? What am I doing? Why?’ And I’m in that period.” (Topic begins at 17:28) That being said, it wasn’t as if Dan hadn’t planned to put out some projects last year; according to the YouTuber, “There were supposed to be a couple of things, and then 2020 happened.” The chaos of 2020 and his own self-discovery weren’t the only reasons he’s been absent, though, with both he and Phil revealing they’ve been busy moving into a new home of their own design. View this post on Instagram They don’t plan on doing a house tour anytime soon though, in an effort to protect their privacy — but it seems like their fans are sated enough after Dan finally made an appearance with Phil after an entire year relative inactivity. Thus far, Dan has been met with an outpouring of support from his viewers, who can’t wait to see what this year has in store for him.
