  • Customers pay over $150 for picture of pink Stanley cup – Dexerto

Customers pay over $150 for picture of pink Stanley cup TikTok: suszii3The demand for the coveted pink Stanley cup has seen several people being duped into paying $150 – for a picture of the product. Despite only being released in January, the illustrious pink Stanley cups are undoubtedly the most prized items of the year so far. People have been clamoring to get their hands on one, leading to insane resale prices on eBay. Unfortunately, however, scammers are now trying to sell the coveted pink Stanley cups under false pretenses. One eBay listing showed a photo of a pink Stanley cup, but what many didn’t realize after purchasing the product, is that they wouldn’t actually be receiving the order they expected. The item’s description from the seller reads, “Starbucks × Stanley (Pink) ©40oz Limited Edition Cup.” “This was extremely popular and off the shelves in seconds to minutes. The prices are skyrocketing to above $300. But we all can’t afford a $300 cup So why not get the next best thing to it, a picture! Yes! A picture of this stunning cup with free shipping. This is only › photo of the cup on 11×8 printer paper. You won’t regret purchasing a photo of a beauty like this.” People angered by eBay seller’s Stanley cup trick After the listing was posted, several people on Reddit were ‘disgusted’ by the tactic used by the seller. “That’s legit the most disgusting seller I have ever seen,” one user wrote. To which another replied: “Nothing new. I remember 10+ years ago sellers selling empty Wii and Xbox 360 boxes for hundreds of dollars.” One had some insight on such scams, stating: “My cousin (who is now 36) used to do something like this with iPhone boxes. He’d sell on eBay and make it look like buyers were receiving an iPhone, but the description outlined it was only a box. He made hundreds of dollars every single time he did this. He got his buddies in on it and he’d buy their boxes when they got new phones. It took a really long time for him to be shut down by eBay.” Some, however, felt the blame lay at the hands of the buyer: “If you’re gonna pay $300 for a CUP….. yeah you kinda deserve this,” one said unabashedly. “I mean it’s on you….if you can’t read,” another concurred. One thought that the blame lay on both ends, stating “People need to do a better job of reading but this seller is a scammer targeting people who are excited or have low literacy or are vulnerable to scams for a variety of reasons.” Avoid the fuss and pick up your own Stanley cup from the official site: If you click on a product link on this page we may earn a small affiliate commission.

  • Customers outraged after coffee shop bans pooping in bathroom – Dexerto

Customers outraged after coffee shop bans pooping in bathroom TWITTER: wedge_shapedA coffee shop in NYC has sparked outrage as their bathroom is covered with signs warning customers against pooping. Twitter/X user Mayor (wedge_shaped) shared photos from a coffee shop in Williamsburg that’s bombarded with signs on the bathroom walls and door to warn backed-up customers. Most of the signs show an image of a pile of feces with a red STOP animation crossing it out and reading: “NO! POOP! Again, someone left a mess. It’s expensive to clean and fix.” One sign features a colorized turd with a “no” symbol through it, while a printout near the bathroom shows Uncle Sam with a message over his hat that states: “No Sh*tting.” The large sign hanging over the toilet reads: “NO POOP! NO! TO EVERYTHING! EXCEPT FOR TINKLE AND SMALL AMOUNTS OF OUR TOILET PAPER. “The pipes can’t handle it. The last time someone dropped, it clogged the pipes. CAUSED DAMAGE, and a lot of MONEY and time to get it fixed.” Mayor’s post quickly went viral, racking up over 6.3 million views. Many users couldn’t believe the coffee shop was shaming its customers into holding their business. “Wth a place that sells coffee but you’re NOT allowed to poop is diabolical,” one critic wrote. “No pooping at a coffee shop? This feels like entrapment,” another said. “It’s coffee. It makes people poop,” a third added. According to the New York Post, the coffee shop is Social House Cafe. Its co-owner, William Somerville, stated that the signs were made to discourage people from flushing tampons and other disposable products down their old pipes. He added that toilet repairs cost the business more than $10,000 last year alone. However, since putting the signs up, “it’s helped with people not putting things in the toilet that weren’t supposed to be in it.”

  • McDonald’s becomes a warzone as customers fight employees in wild melee – Dexerto

McDonald’s becomes a warzone as customers fight employees in wild melee TwitterA group of McDonald’s customers weren’t lovin’ it when the restaurant turned into an all-out battle royale. Being a fast food employee isn’t easy. We’ve seen a TikToker break down in tears after just one shift at the Golden Arches and the “World’s Worst McDonald’s” had fights involving humans and raccoons break out at the burger joint. However, can you imagine being punched in the face over sauce? According to a viral video posted to Twitter, that’s exactly what happened when they ran out of sweet and sour sauce and things became really nasty. In a TikTok originally posted by ‘lakeshaleach1’ and reuploaded to FightHaven, a woman walked behind the counter at the Georgia McDonald’s and began throwing hands with staff and all hell broke loose. Ladies rumble at McDonald’s in viral fight As the woman in red started fighting with staff, one employee resorted to using kitchen equipment (a tactic we’ve seen before) as a weapon while others fired back with attacks of their own. Eventually, the woman who started the brawl pulled on the hair of one of the employees as she herself was being pulled by another customer toward the front of the ordering line. In the midst of the brouhaha, the woman lost her wig and after she was finally separated from the staff, she wanted it back, but the employees wouldn’t let her have it and sprayed her with water. With the woman and employees exchanging heated towards, the combatants started throwing buns, glasses, and other things at each other, but as that happened, two others reentered the battle. Armed with a yellow sign, one customer tossed it at the employees while another with teal hair dropped the angry woman with some blows, eventually resulting in her leaving the restaurant. We’ve seen some crazy battles in fast food places over the years. From Waffle House wars to coffee shop pistol-whippings, this might just take the cake for the most outrageous fight yet. Since being uploaded on April 20, the clip has been watched over 1M times with many viewers taking the side of the employees for this altercation.

  • Grocery store brawl goes viral as mom hands off baby to fight customers – Dexerto

Grocery store brawl goes viral as mom hands off baby to fight customers Twitter/9NewsSydAn insane grocery store fight featuring numerous shoppers hammering away at each other is going viral across social media. Internet fights have taken the world by storm, and this latest encounter at a grocery store in Australia is no different, with countless shoppers throwing bombs down under. The video, posted by News9 Sydney, features shoppers at a Tamworth Woolworths fighting in aisles, throwing each other into food products, and even trading dance partners. Over the years we’ve seen many brawls in gas stations and restaurants, but they’ve never involved babies. Well, in this case, a mother was so eager to join the mayhem she resorted to handing her baby off. Shoppers come to blows in grocery store brawl The video, like many of these fight clips, begins with two women already going at it while a crowd of customers gathers to watch the smackdown. After a man tries to get involved, another guy storms in and knocks him out of the way. This seems to upset a woman in black, as she then proceeds to carry her baby over to another spectator to hand it off before running into the rumble. From there, all hell breaks loose. The woman in the black dress starts attacking another guy, while multiple shoppers all start hitting each other. The man from before, who prevented the other male from intervening, gets smashed into a display of Sprite before knocking someone down and landing some punches. Eventually, the store staff step in and separate the unhappy shoppers – and it seems like the employees are even getting some benefits for handling the situation. “We’re offering team members who witnessed it access to counseling services, and we continue to assist police with their inquiries,” Woolworths spokesperson said. This is just the latest viral fight to take over the net after a so-called “battle royale” that took place in a parking lot drew eyes from all over social media.

Customer stunned after grocery store asks for 25% tip at checkout TIKTOK: incrediboii / UNSPLASHA stunned grocery store customer went viral on TikTok after sharing how she was asked to leave a 25% tip at the checkout. Content creator Ev (indrediboii) recently took to TikTok to share how she and her boyfriend had to ‘unnecessarily’ tip at one of the most unexpected places. In the viral clip, she explained that the couple had stopped by a small “bougie” grocery store in Austin, Texas called Tiny Grocer. While it’s not their usual choice, they had to purchase a selection of cheeses, cured meats, and wine for their romantic date night. Ev knew it would be more expensive than a regular grocery store, so she wasn’t surprised when the price for the treats came to $40. However, the customer was left speechless when the cashier at her checkout flipped the tablet around and asked for a 25% tip. “I look at her and my jaw like [dropped],” Ev recounted. “I was f**ked up about it for days. I’m probably still f**ked up about it now,” the TikToker concluded. TikTok stunned by customer’s shopping experience The video has amassed more than 480,000 views so far, with plenty of comments from TikTok users who were just as stunned as Ev was. “TIP??? FOR A CASHIER?????” one person wrote. “I would’ve said they’re out of their f’ing mind,” another said. “Please tell me you didn’t tip!!” a third added. Others shared their own stories of being asked to tip at unexpected places. “My Botox/lip filler NURSE PRACTITIONER had a tipping option. Like what?? You make $125k a year,” one user commented. “I bought yarn. Online. ONLINE. And they asked for a tip. • Customer splits TikTok after berating McDonald’s workers who forgot his napkins – Dexerto

Customer splits TikTok after berating McDonald’s workers who forgot his napkins TIKTOK: jessicadmv1993A customer left TikTok viewers divided after berating McDonald’s employees for forgetting to put napkins in his food bag. In a viral video with over 143,000 views, the customer was filmed venting out his anger on the McDonald’s workers. “You guys better get your head out of your ass,” the customer said to the workers. “You gave us all of this food and everything and not one napkin.” The customer would then direct his anger toward the manager, telling her that she “should be smart enough to make some of [the employees] do [their] job.” The manager and worker calmly asked if he needed napkins, and tried to calm him down, but the customer was persistent. One of the workers tried to jump to the manager’s defense, however, the man told her to “shut up. I’m not talking to you. She’s the manager, I’m talking to her.” At some point, he went on about how he’s owned a business for 27 years, and that the manager is in charge to make sure the other employees “don’t screw up.” The customer claimed that this is a common occurrence, as they’ve already had “five mistakes at the drive-thru.” “Smarten up,” the man told the workers twice, as he stormed off. Click here if TikTok doesn’t load TikTok divided over customer berating McDonald’s workers who forgot his napkins Many TikTok users slammed the customer and failed to understand why the man was angry over napkins. “Just ask for napkins and calm down,” one user commented. “All this because of napkins?!” another one wrote. “There’s no way that guy owned a business for 27 years talking to people like that,” a third user shared. “Is there a male equivalent of ‘Karen‘?” someone questioned. “I’m legitimately curious.” Others sided with the customer, claiming McDonald’s often messes up. “Naw cause this is an actual problem. Not only McDonald’s but a lot of fast food restaurants don’t give out napkins it’s frustrating,” one user claimed. “He stating facts, they never give you napkins, ketchup or sauces even tho you ask at the speaker. then they get mad when you check at window,” another one said. “I mean McDonald’s do kinda f up our orders all the time,” someone else shared.

In the viral clip, which has amassed over 846,000 views, the shopper was seen standing in line at the checkout counter and swiping her groceries over the scanner herself. An employee later rushed to her station to assist with the scans as the TikToker recording the video can be heard laughing in the background. Sorry I have no patience,” a third added. Another pointed out that employees get paid the same amount of money regardless of how many customers they assist in a single shift. “For real!! They realized they get paid the same so they go in slow motion like I don’t got places to be myself,” they said. Others, however, slammed the woman for being ‘disrespectful’ to the cashier. “I don’t think this funny at all. • Customer left “heartbroken” after Goodwill refuses to sell them rollerblades – Dexerto

Customer left “heartbroken” after Goodwill refuses to sell them rollerblades Unsplash: luka reedyA TikToker explained why she wasn’t able to buy a pair of rollerblades at Goodwill, saying she was “heartbroken” after an employee turned her away. Seldomly does a department store refuse to sell customers an item, but for one TikToker, who goes by the name of Gigi, that wasn’t the story. Although Gigi traveled over 30 minutes to one Goodwill location, she was shocked after being informed that she wasn’t allowed to purchase a pair of rollerblades. Since posting her now-viral TikTok video explaining her situation, Gigi has heard from plenty of Goodwill shoppers and employees who have all shared their disbelief in the thrift store disparity. Goodwill employee said rollerblades had to be “reprocessed” before buying them When shopping in a thrift store like Goodwill, often does someone not walk out of the store without copping some sort of awesome deal. For Gigi, that deal was a pair of pristine rollerblades that she had always wanted. Though she may have left the store with other things, she was told that her prized find wasn’t eligible for sale. Somehow, the price tag fell off of the rollerblades, causing a Goodwill employee to refuse the sale to Gigi, who’d traveled thirty-five minutes to the thrift store. Sure, the first time around could have deterred Gigi from going back to that Goodwill – but the initial refusal wasn’t enough to keep her away from the pair of rollerblades she had her eyes on. So, the next day, Gigi drove all the way to that same Goodwill to find that her soon-to-be rollerblades had been placed on the shelf with a price tag. At last, she couldn’t be refused — so she ended up buying the rollerblades, later taking to TikTok to share her story. In her now-viral TikTok video, Gigi captioned her nuance, saying, “I found these perfect rollerblades at Goodwill two days ago, and the (not very kind) employee wouldn’t let me purchase them because the sticker fell off. I begged and was very heartbroken when she told me she had to take them to be reprocessed.” Though Gigi was told that the rollerblades had to be “reprocessed,” many Tiktokers who have worked at Goodwill shared that they’ve never heard of ‘reprocessing’ an item just because a price tag fell off, saying, “I worked at Goodwill and we’d always price the items right away for the person.” While another said, “As someone who’s sitting on her break for her Goodwill shift right now, we literally can go to the back and put a new sticker on.” Gigi even expressed how the same employee who refused her the sale was working the following day. Though Gigi went in for the sole purpose of buying the rollerblades, she was again struck with confrontation from the employee, as Gigi explained that she glared at her while sarcastically saying, “Oh, you’re the girl from the other day.” Though the process may have been messy, Gigi ended up with her dream pair of rollerblades. Sure, it took over two hours in travel time and a rather unhappy employee, but in the end, she secured a pretty great deal. You go, girl!

  • Customer floored after mistakenly receiving email for year of free Chipotle – Dexerto

Customer floored after mistakenly receiving email for year of free Chipotle Unsplash.com: Andrew RelfA Chipotle customer was left stunned after thinking they’d received a free year of food from the restaurant chain — only to discover that the reward had been sent by mistake. Chipotle Mexican Grill is one of the more prominent ‘fast-casual’ restaurant chains in the United States, boasting options like burritos, burrito bowls, tacos, and more that can be custom-made to order. While the chain is a big favorite for some, one customer got the surprise of a lifetime when she received an email saying she’d won an entire year’s worth of free Chipotle. TikTok user Shae Williams couldn’t believe her luck after getting the email — but her joy was short-lived. In a viral video, Williams showed off the email she’d gotten in her inbox, which claimed she’d “yes, really” won a free year of food. Woman receives year’s worth of free Chipotle “in error” Unfortunately, the offer was rescinded shortly thereafter. Williams shared a screen recording of another email she got that said she’d received the initial offer “in error.” “You may have received an email from us earlier today,” the statement reads. “Unfortunately, our service provider sent this in error.” “We sincerely apologize for any disappointment, and are giving you a free entrée to brighten your day,” the statement continues. “Your free reward has been dropped into your Rewards wallet. Thanks for being part of our community.” Despite the consolation reward, Williams was left frustrated with the whole situation. “I’m screaming, crying, and throwing up right now,” she captioned the video. “Chipotle, I need y’all to BFFR,” she said in the clip. “Why did I get this email saying that I won free Chipotle for a year, and then all of the sudden I get another email saying, ‘Oh, no, that’s okay, nevermind. We sent that in error.” Viewers were quick to commiserate with her in the comments section. “They were grimy for that,” one user wrote. “UMMMM I HOPE THIS BLOWS UP AND YOU GET IT! That’s bs!” another said. Williams claims that the email felt like a low blow, as it appeared in her inbox the day after her birthday — making her think the initial message was actually a present from the company. Unfortunately, it doesn’t look like the TikToker will be cashing in on a full year of free food, but at least the internet is on her side. This is just the latest fast-food story to go viral on social media after a Waffle House employee took over the internet during an all-out brawl at the beloved breakfast chain.

Customer fights employee and smashes restaurant with truck in viral brawl Twitter/FightHavenA melee involving a customer and an employee at a chicken restaurant is going viral after the upset diner smashed his truck into the building for not being served wings. Over the years we’ve seen all sorts of ridiculous confrontations at restaurants from infamous Waffle House battles to girls pistol-whipping a man, but one customer took things to the extreme. We all know what it’s like to try to order McDonald’s breakfast at 11:01 just to be turned away. There’s a whole scene in an Adam Sandler movie about it. But when one man wanted chicken wings late at night, he wouldn’t take no for an answer. In a viral brouhaha making waves online, an identified man freaked out when NY Chicken & Grill manager Mohamed Ali told him it was too late to make wings and started smashing cash registers in a fit of rage. Employee fights customer mad about chicken wings After the furious customer tried jumping over the counter, another employee hit the man with an item and chased him outside where the two fought. In the midst of the chaos, the suspect seemed to retreat but left his phone on the ground for the employee to pick up and slam to the ground. A bit after, the customer smashed his truck into the restaurant in an act of revenge and then fled the scene. “I’ve been in this place for over 10 years,” Ali told NBC. “I’ve never seen something like that happening.” Footage of the incident has gone viral on social media. In an upload to Fight Haven, the brawl was viewed over 5 million times. Police say the investigation is still active.

Fortunately, the customer managed to stop him before he left and got his food, handing the driver a cash tip in the process. “SkipTheDishes driver tries to walk away with my food in front of me due to 0 tip,” Mike wrote in the text overlaying the video. “He didn’t know I had cash for him in hand as tip.” In the caption, he added: “I was waiting for him to say something to the accord of confirming my name so that I could hand him the tip money. Customer confronts DoorDash driver after catching him eating her food TIKTOK: doordashsuperstarA customer has gone viral on TikTok after allegedly catching her DoorDash driver eating her food and confronting him. In a viral two-minute clip, a woman claims to have caught her DoorDash driver eating her sushi order and calling him out as a result. The delivery driver was sitting in his car outside an apartment complex while holding onto a small plate of sushi. His phone was on his lap and the DoorDash app appeared to be open. “You didn’t do a goddamn thing about it. I just called you,” the customer said, confronting him. “I just screen-recorded the whole thing too because I was going to make a complaint.” The woman then zoomed in on the driver and her alleged order. “So instead of you bringing me my food or answering the phone, you decided just to keep it and eat it. Give me my food,” she told him. As the driver handed her the empty bag, sushi, and drink, the Dasher claimed he did call her, although she denied it. According to the customer, she gave the driver “clear directions” to her apartment complex, and said she would “meet him in the front.” The Dasher claimed he walked around the apartment complex but could not find her, while the customer claimed she “rode around in circles” trying to find his car. She then berated the driver with questions about eating her food, blaming him for wasting her time, and threatening to send the video as a complaint. The clip has amassed 1.9 million views, with many TikTok users finding the whole situation hilarious. “The way he keeps getting food out of his teeth with his tongue…I can’t with the world today,” one user commented. “The app still being on the phone is sending me,” another wrote. “This seems like a love story, actually,” someone else quipped. Towards the end of the clip, the DoorDash driver was filmed returning the Little Caesars pizza she allegedly tried to steal. TikTok users in the comments were appalled at the delivery driver’s actions and annoyed on the customer’s behalf. “Why do people play with hungry customers,” one person questioned. “I would’ve still called the cops,” another wrote. “Nah would have told her to pay me the order amount and then reordered a free meal,” a third shared. • Customer baffled by $15 “you’re an a-hole” charge on birthday dinner bill – Dexerto

Customer baffled by $15 “you’re an a-hole” charge on birthday dinner bill FreePik/Facebook/TheWestgateA diner’s night out to enjoy a meal with his wife took a bizarre twist when the restaurant added a $15 charge on the bill listed as “you’re an a**hole.” No one likes to find hidden costs and fees when they get a receipt, but one restaurant appeared to add insult to injury by charging a man extra in the form of a nasty insult. In a post going viral on Reddit from earlier this year, a customer uploaded his receipt from the Westgate Bourbon Bar and Tap House in Beaverton, Oregon and users were shocked by what they saw. According to ‘KnightOfChronos,’ he took his wife out for her birthday and after ordering food and getting the bill, he noticed an extra $15 charge that read “You’re an a**hole.” Customer shocked by $15 ‘a-hole’ charge on bill Redditors were baffled by what they saw with some wondering what exactly the customer could have done to deserve such a nasty insult on his bill. As it turns out, however, “you’re an a**hole” wasn’t an insult aimed at the couple by their server Katie, and was actually the name of a menu item they forgot they had requested. “I completely forgot the name of the cocktail by the time the receipt came but its name was ‘You’re an Asshole, Mr. Burton,’” the customer revealed. “It definitely caught me by surprise.” Sure enough, the restaurant’s website has the cocktail on its menu. It consists of gin, 20-year tawny, lime juice, honey, peach bitters, egg white, brown sugar drizzle and coupe. While this cocktail name could certainly have backfired in a big way, luckily, the situation was resolved and the customer had only good things to say about the food. “It was a great sandwich!” he added, praising the fried chicken. This isn’t the first restaurant fiasco to go viral recently. Earlier this year, Kick streamer Ice Poseidon was arrested for giving his girlfriend a lapdance inside of restaurant in Thailand.

Customer baffled after being forced to tip robots that made his drink TIKTOK: uptinA customer went viral on TikTok after revealing that he was forced to leave a 10% tip to the robots that made his drink. In a video with over 1.2 million views, content creator Uptin filmed The Tipsy Robot in Las Vegas, a bar in which all drinks are made by robots. Panning down to his bill, he revealed that it included a 10% service charge. “I normally wouldn’t mind an automatic 10% tip for making my drink, but you’re a robot,” Uptin said in the clip. The video went on to show two robotic arms in the process of creating mixed cocktails. According to the TikToker, there’s “no option to opt-out,” meaning customers have no option but to tip the bots. Disappointed, he also added that the ice cream machine was broken, and his drink came without any ice. TikTok reacts to customer being forced to tip robots In the comments, many TikTok users detailed their thoughts on automatic tips. “I would absolutely complain about an automatic tip. It goes against my culture’s view on the value of tipping,” one user stated. “I refuse to spend money at a company that forces an automatic tip,” another added. “Reminds me of ‘convenience fees’ when buying tickets online,” a third said. “I wouldn’t go there if I had to pay a mandatory tip to robots. That’s beyond crossing the line,” someone else commented. Others made jokes about the situation. “If you don’t tip, the robot overlords will remember,” one user quipped. “They’ll remember that during the robot uprising,” another joked. “You best give that tip bro, I don’t like what the terminator movies were talking about,” a third wrote. This is just the latest tipping-related video to take off on TikTok, after a DoorDash driver recorded himself confronting customers that didn’t leave tips.

Curtis Lepore shares and quickly deletes statement amid Gabbie Hanna & Jessie Smiles drama Instagram: curtislepore / YouTube: Gabbie HannaAmid the ongoing back-and-forth between influencers Gabbie Hanna and Jessi Smiles, disgraced internet comedian Curtis Lepore — Smiles’ abusive ex-boyfriend — has published and later removed a statement commenting on the feud. The issue between Gabbie Hannah, a longtime YouTuber and music artist, and Jessi Smiles, a fellow influencer, has been happening for some time now. For those out of the loop, Smiles released a video in 2019 accusing Hanna of associating with her abusive ex-boyfriend, Curtis Lepore, despite being one of her former best friends. While Hanna initially denied having any affiliation with Lepore in a Buzzfeed interview, a phone call released by Smiles in 2021 proved that Hanna had met up with Lepore on three separate occasions. Gabbie and I had a phone call last summer. I never planned to release it. In fact, there’s nothing I want more than to never talk or think about Gabbie ever again. Smiles claimed that Gabbie had threatened to smear her on two separate podcasts if she didn’t get one of her friends to stop tweeting about her — a friend that Hanna had levied some serious claims against. Amidst all this, Lepore released yet another statement regarding the accusations of abuse and assault against him, but appeared to quickly delete the tweet. “Please pay attention to those who continually bring me up,” he wrote. “It’s always a hot topic, and gets a lot of attention. It’s really sad to see people refresh this skewed story about me over and over to stay relevant. You’re not helping anyone by bringing it up, either. Move on.” This was preceded by another Tweet also seeming to comment on the ongoing situation, where Lepore called Twitter “toxic” and claimed he’s “seen countless lies and made up stories about me for the past 8 years.” https://twitter.com/curtislepore/status/1412139594422755328 It doesn’t seem like the internet is all too enthused by his attitude on the subject as the feud between Hanna and Smiles continues to escalate, with commenters decrying Lepore and sending ample support Jessi’s way.

  • CSGO Twitch streamer banned after absurdly shaving privates on stream – Dexerto

CSGO Twitch streamer banned after absurdly shaving privates on stream Twitch: csgoambiIn an early contender for the most bizarre Twitch clip of 2022, a streamer has been unsurprisingly banned after revealing themselves in order to shave… down below. In Twitch’s more than a decade-long history, there have been many bans for weird and wonderful on-stream incidents, from filming in toilets to bans for being shot at – we’ve previously documented some of the platform’s most controversial suspensions. However, there will be no controversy around this latest ban, which saw a small CS:GO streamer blocked from the site, presumably permanently, after a truly bizarre incident. Twitch has strict rules on nudity and suggestive content, although sometimes lines can become blurred based on a streamer’s choice of clothing or content shown on stream. In this case, though, there is no room for argument. Streamer banned after bizarre shaving incident On January 27, streamer ‘csgoambi’ — a small channel that had only been streaming since around April 2021 — inexplicably took an electric razor to his lower portion, showing everything on camera. With the channel now banned and the clips removed, it’s impossible to know the context of this moment, but either csgoambi was unaware their camera was on, knew but didn’t know it would break the rules, or was perfectly aware he would be banned but carried on anyway. Unsurprisingly, the clip quickly made the rounds on Reddit and social media, although we’ll spare you the misfortune of having to view it yourself. It didn’t take long after the clip had gathered some attention that Twitch moderators took swift action against the account. Given the seriousness of the violation, it’s unlikely csgoambi’s suspension will be a temporary one. Any “content containing a person in a state of nudity” violates Twitch’s community guidelines.

  • Twitch streamer JasonR denies any wrongdoing in face of claims that he banned subscribers based on gender – Dexerto

Twitch streamer JasonR denies any wrongdoing in face of claims that he banned subscribers based on gender Popular CS:GO streamer Jason ‘JasonR’ Ruchelski has denied any wrongdoing after having been accused of banning female viewers and subscribers solely because of their gender. On October 16, one of his female viewers, who goes by missPerceived on Twitch, tweeted out about having been unreasonably banned from the channel. She included her full conversation with one of the channel moderators, ‘MyStumpyLegs,’ who apparently claimed that anyone with an obvious female Twitch username gets banned. Shortly thereafter, a female Twitch viewer named ‘recklessanna’ shared a screenshot of her activity in JasonR’s chat back in June, which shows her getting banned by his girlfriend, then getting unbanned by a mod, before getting banned by JasonR himself. “I have since stopped watching and supporting him after he banned the first 20 month sub for being female,” Jojopigs said. “It’s been a slippery slope since then, including his 30 day ban for stating ‘all girls on Twitch are hoes.’” Following the Reddit post blowing up overnight, JasonR denied any he’d done anything wrong during the start of his stream on October 17. “No I won’t get banned. I did nothing wrong. I know as much as these little weird little fucks that get butthurt over nothing think that I did something wrong, I did nothing wrong. I didn’t disrespect anybody, I didn’t do anything wrong. Bro, I literally ban people every fucking day.” During his denials that he’d done anything wrong, and despite the stream title on October 17 claiming he bans everyone equally, he did admit that he stands by what he said that got him banned previously. His claims of innocence have also been contradicted by someone who is claiming to be a mod in his channel, and alleges that JasonR and his girlfriend had been at this sort of practice for close to six months. “I’m a mod in his channel and have been following him for 2 years. It’s all real, he’s been doing this for about six months now,” the user claimed. “I’ve witnessed at least five bans so far, he bans everyone with a girl’s nickname, even though they’ve done nothing wrong.” Despite the controversy surrounding these fervent claims and accusations, according to Twitch guidelines, JasonR is well within his rights to ban people from his chat solely on the basis of their gender. We have reached out to JasonR regarding the situation, but at the time of writing, have received no response. Source – Reddit

CS:GO streamer Anomaly reveals why NiP were “assholes” to him L: Twitch/R: NiP GamingIn a Twitch stream on August 17, popular CS:GO personality Ludwig ‘Anomaly’ Lagerstedt spoke out against NiP, revealing his interaction with the org when he was looking for a sponsor. Following Richard Lewis’ interview with Robin ‘Fifflaren’ Johansson, those formerly affiliated with NiP Gaming are arising from the shadows and exposing them for alleged previous operational wrongdoings. Amid the current controversy that has ensued, Anomaly becomes the latest in a long-line of popular personalities to open-up about the Swedish organization. Less than 24 hours after Anomaly’s ban was lifted by Twitch, the popular streamer opened up about an exchange between himself and the organization popularized for their Counter-Strike successes. Now partnered with Swedish giants Fnatic, Anomaly explains that he originally was in talks with their Swedish counterparts, NiP, in a bid to keep his options open while pursuing a partnership. “Basically, when I wasn’t partnered with Fnatic, I was talking with Fnatic and I was like: Yo, okay so you wanna partner? That’s kinda cool ‘cause I fucking love you guys to shit and you’re Swedish – I fucking like it – I was also writing to NiP.” Anomaly goes on to explain how he is “very happy” that he stayed with Fnatic, given the current situation with their Swedish rivals. Read more: Coldzera’s insane 1v5 deagle clutch shows why he’s the hottest CS:GO player on the market – Lagerstedt revealed that NiP didn’t necessarily handle the situation in the most professional manner, and ultimately this acted as a deterrent, by snubbing him off after hearing that he was also in partnership discussions with Fnatic. “NiP were also kinda assholes… When I said that I was talking to Fnatic, they were like: “Okay, bye”. Although Anomaly’s claims at how the organization treated him may hold substance, a response from NiP Gaming is yet to surface. Indeed, it will be interesting to see how this mounts up against the other allegations that have been thrown NiP’s way of-late.

  • CSGO star s1mple slams Twitch & asks to cancel partnership after ban – Dexerto

CSGO star s1mple slams Twitch & asks to cancel partnership after ban CSGO legend Oleksandr ‘s1mple’ Kostyliev has blasted Twitch, calling it a “terrible platform” as he asked to cancel his partnership following another ban on November 28. The Counter-Strike: Global Offensive star is considered to be one of the best players of all time, and many fans regularly tune in to his Twitch streams to see some of his stunning gameplay. However, that is no longer possible as his channel received another suspension from Twitch, leaving the Na`Vi star frustrated. This is not his first ban on the platform, as he was banned in August 2019 for aiming a homophobic slur at one of his teammates. During his previous ban, s1mple labeled Twitch a “joke” as he felt the ban wasn’t deserved since he was joking with his friend. Regardless, he returned to the platform and continued to dominate the CSGO section. Once again, he has been banned and he believes it is a misunderstanding, stating that the platform is “stupid” for trying to put different meanings on words in different contexts. Some fans have alleged that his complaint stems from his use of a Russian homophobic slur, which they say can also be used as a way to call someone obnoxious or stupid. “I’m tired of streaming on a terrible platform that is always choosing [the wrong] meaning of words,” said s1mple. “If you ban me for [this] then the rules should be the same for other streamers as well.” Another ban, stupid twitch doesn’t understand the different meanings of the same word in different contexts I’m tired of streaming on a terrible platform, always choosing the right words. If u give ban for nothing, then the rules should be the same for other streamers as well — Sasha (@s1mpleO) November 29, 2019 He has even gone as far as to ask the platform to remove his partnership. Most Twitch partners are bound by contract to exclusively stream on the platform, so he would need it to be revoked if he were to stream somewhere else. “Can’t remove Twitch partnership by myself because of the ban, do it instead of me please @Twitch?” said s1mple, following up on his earlier post. Can’t remove twitch partnership by myself because of ban, do it instead of me please @Twitch — Sasha (@s1mpleO) November 29, 2019 He has yet to comment further on the matter and his streaming future, but many fans are suggesting Mixer as his new home, a platform that massive streamers like Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins and Michael ‘Shroud’ Grzesiek have migrated to. Meanwhile, Twitch have yet to release a statement regarding the situation, however, the company rarely comments publicly about bans.

  • CSGO pro XANTARES quits Twitch after being permanently banned – Dexerto

CSGO pro XANTARES quits Twitch after being permanently banned One of the most popular CS:GO players and streamers, XANTARES, has announced that he’ll now be streaming on another platform after receiving a permanent ban on Twitch in June. In June, Turkish player formerly of BIG, İsmailсan “XANTARES” Dörtkardeş, was banned on Twitch for the second time since April 2020. With over 500,000 followers on Twitch, and averaging 10,000 viewers per stream, XANTARES, and his viewers were devastated by Twitch’s decision to ban him. The ban came just a few days after XANTARES and his organization BIG won $600,000 from the Gamers Without Borders charity tournament. According to XANTARES, he received no explanation as to why or how long the ban would last, tweeting “I got banned from Twitch guys, I don’t know why but I definitely deserve it, it’s not their fault bro.” A day later, he was then notified that the ban was due to a community violation, and he would be permanently banned from the platform. A community guidelines violation isn’t very specific, as it could be a number of different issues. Some viewers of the CS:GO player suspected that the ban is due to responding with toxicity after being insulted during a CS:GO match, which could mean he was banned for hateful conduct. Perma ban yemişim sebebi topluluk ihlali yazılmış tam olarak — İsmailcan Dörtkardeş (@XANTAREScsgo) June 29, 2021 “The reason why I got a perm ban was written as a community violation,” XANTARES tweeted. On August 8, XANTARES announced on Twitter that he’ll be making his return to streaming, but this time on an entirely different platform. I decided to start stream on a different platform, see you soon — İsmailcan Dörtkardeş (@XANTAREScsgo) August 8, 2021 As of now, we’re unsure on which platform XANTARES will be streaming on. His YouTube channel boasts over 100,000 subscribers, so it could be a potential new home for his streams. Nonetheless, fans of the CS:GO star are relieved that he’ll be making his long-awaited return.

  • CSGO legend PashaBiceps features in bizarre Old Spice commercial – Dexerto

CSGO legend PashaBiceps features in bizarre Old Spice commercial As one of the most legendary names in the history of Counter-Strike, PashaBiceps is revered by fans. But even the biggest of fans will be scratching their heads over his appearance in a bizarre Old Spice commercial. Jarosław ‘pashaBiceps’ Jarząbkowski was a professional Counter-Strike player dating back to 2004, but is most famed for his five-year tenure with Virtus.Pro, who became a fan-favorite team through their successes between 2014-2016, and even in the years following. However, the 31-year-old has been inactive as of late and seems to be pursuing a career worlds away from professional gaming, after an appearance in a commercial for male grooming brand Old Spice. The commercial, which also featured fellow Polish CSGO retiree Piotr ‘izak’ Skowyrski and League of Legends streamer Damian ‘Nervarien’ Ziaja, saw the trio supporting a bear in a gaming bout against a gorilla. They’re all decked out in Old Spice gear and gun vests bearing Old Spice products, with Pasha saying to the camera his classic line: “you are not my friend,” when the bear gets the better of the gorilla. The implication seems to be that the gorilla is cheating, but the support of Poland’s biggest gamers helped the bear win the match. A bear also happens to feature on Virtus.Pro’s logo. In the end, the three perform a little jingle in Polish before seemingly flying out of the screen, rounding out what is an incredibly wacky 20 seconds. Alongside Izak and Nervarien, this is probably one of the stranger media appearances we’ve seen a pro player make from any esport. Although he may not be playing in the upper tier of CSGO anymore, it’s good to see pasha branching out and expanding his talents into the world of television. Who knows, maybe we’ll see him starring in his own TV show before long.

  • Cryaotic goes crazy after Pokemon NPCs give him ‘trip-inducing shrooms’ – Dexerto

Cryaotic goes crazy after Pokemon NPCs give him ‘trip-inducing shrooms’ The Pokemon games have always been rated E for everyone – but as Twitch streamer Cryaotic discovered, that doesn’t mean the dialogue can’t be cheeky or suggestive for older audiences, too. While playing Pokemon Sword and Shield, the Twitch star spoke to a non-playable character (NPC) who gave him a bag of mixed mushrooms. While it’s pretty standard for random characters in RPGs to give the player items after talking to them, the follow-up dialogue was very suspicious. Cryaotic read Rod’s text and couldn’t help but chuckle the word “shrooms” in response to how over-the-top the play on words was. “I don’t plan on being tripped up on my journey, so better you take it than me,” the character said, prompting a big laugh from the Pokemon trainer. The pun ‘tripping’ was likely related to psychedelic or ‘magic’ mushrooms, which can cause visual and auditory hallucinations for those who imbibe them. For his part, Cryaotic couldn’t believe this bit of dialogue was actually included in the game. “What the f*ck?!” he shouted. “That wasn’t even subtle,” he continued, still flabbergasted at the NPC’s remark. As it turned out, though, yet another nearby character had a drug-related joke to make. The popular streamer approached a nearby character on a bike who then gave him even more mushrooms. This time, the trainer joked that they shouldn’t have had the mushrooms on their person. “I don’t know how this ended up in my pocket… so here – why don’t you take it!” the biker, named Yuuko, said. “The question is… how did it get in my pocket?” While neither NPC specified that he items were drugs, it was quite clear the localization team was having some fun and while still managing to keep things PG – certainly a nice touch for anyone who can understand the joke. In Pokemon Sword and Shield, mushrooms are used for cooking new foods that can be fed to your team to replenish health, gain EXP and other such benefits. The original Pokemon games were released all the way back in 1996 in Japan and 1998 in the United States. Fans of the series who started with the first games when they came out are now in their adult years. It’ll be fun to see what other comedic dialogue intended for older audiences is in the game.

It comes after allegations of Terry grooming minors came to light back in June. He has also lost his Twitch partnership, and is unlikely to return to the platform. Cryaotic made his claim to fame through Let’s Plays and reading stories on his YouTube channel. However, his career in the internet limelight is likely to be over. The 31-year-old, who had, at one point, nearly three million subscribers on YouTube and over 800,000 followers on Twitch, was banned on the latter streaming platform on September 9. Numerous people came forward claiming Cryaotic tried to get into sexual relationships with underage girls. “I was 16 when I became a fan, soon after a friend. You were 22. I admired and cared for the person you were, not the persona you put up. I developed feelings for you and you knew. You never discouraged them, just amusingly kept me at arms length for when you felt lonely,” Twitter user ‘LadyTiabeanie’ said on June 17, referring to Cryaotic. “On my 18th birthday, things took a turn and I was too blinded by rose colored glasses to see what had actually happened to me.” After LadyTiabeanie came out with her own experiences with Terry, numerous others spoke out against the YouTuber. Cryaotic defended himself, releasing a YouTube video on June 20 titled “We stopped being genuine a long time ago.” In the video, he indirectly addresses allegations leveled against him, and talks about his experiences in the limelight. https://twitter.com/LadyTiabeanie/status/1273428606409035776 He admitted in the video that he “cheated on [his] girlfriend with people who [he] didn’t realize were even underage in the first place.” He then clarified this later in the video’s description, saying he “was never with anyone underage on a physical level.” “It was all online, but this does not diminish the act — I just know this matters to those who are concerned.” Cryaotic hasn’t uploaded a video since. At the time of his Twitch ban, Cryaotic had over 800,000 followers on the platform. He hadn’t streamed since June. Terry still has active Twitter and YouTube accounts, with 360,000 followers and 2.6 million subscribers respectively. He is verified on both platforms.

  • Crunchyroll just debuted its very own VTuber mascot – Dexerto

Crunchyroll just debuted its very own VTuber mascot YouTube: CrunchyrollFor many anime fans, Crunchyroll is the premier streaming service to catch up on some of the season’s biggest shows — but now there’s another reason to tune in, thanks to its new VTuber mascot. Crunchyroll offers a slew of anime to watch for free, in addition to providing ad-free viewing experiences for its premium members. In its 15-year-lifespan, the service has become a big name in the anime game, and now, it’s breaking into the world of VTubers. The anime streaming site has had its own mascot for five years, which was initially a submission to the Anime Industry-tans fanart contest to create a humanoid representation of various anime streaming companies. Dubbed ‘Crunchyroll-Hime’ (or ‘Princess Crunchyroll’ for non-weebs), she’s got a shock of orange hair and a bright orange outfit in keeping with the company’s color scheme. She’s more than a 2-D drawing, though; on October 12, Crunchyroll debuted the mascot as a 3-D VTuber, in keeping with the ongoing trend that’s taking over streaming platforms like Twitch and YouTube. VTubers, or ‘Virtual YouTubers,’ are real people who stream using a digital avatar, usually an anime-style one. Their movements are captured using motion-capture software, reflecting the streamer’s actions in real time. VTubers are becoming increasingly popular across social media, with several of the biggest being signed to an agency called ‘Hololive.’ While she’s got her very own company to represent, it looks like Crunchyroll-Hime is joining the ranks of other major VTubers like Gawr Gura and Kizuna Ai. According to her stats sheet, Crunchyroll’s resident VTuber is a staggering 6’1 and speaks both English and Japanese, and is a whopping 115 years old (Princess Crunchyroll apparently roamed Japan as a fox for many years before deciding on a streaming career). So far, her goals are to collaborate with other VTubers and attend a convention in real life (whenever things open up again, that is). For now, it seems that Crunchyroll-Hime’s debut was pretty positively received, and fans can’t wait to see what’s in store for her next.

However, with 22 awards total it’s likely these nine presenters will double up on some awards unless there are some surprise guests set to appear as well. While some anime fans may be surprised at the number of mainstream presenters signed on for the Anime Awards, some of them spoke about why anime was important to them. “I love anime, it’s an art form that has always inspired me. For the creators, it’s unbound creativity and freedom of expression, where they can make truly iconic, creative worlds and characters,” said director Robert Rodriguez. Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Juju Smith-Schuster said, “I have been a huge anime fan since I was a kid. It has been a part of my whole life, till this day, it has helped me so much. I’m an NFL athlete and I get to represent this anime world. So for me to present an Anime Award to some of the greatest shows in the world, it’s the best.” Those looking forward to seeing what 2022 anime wins in each category should be sure to tune into the upcoming Anime Awards stream on March 4, 2023.

  • Crude pilot goes viral with explicit sky drawing after flight was diverted – Dexerto

Crude pilot goes viral with explicit sky drawing after flight was diverted Flight RadarA Lufthansa pilot has gone viral for drawing an explicit image in the sky after the plane’s flight was diverted, seemingly as a way to take out their frustration. Having a flight diverted can be an annoying occurrence, not only for passengers but also for pilots who just want to complete their journey. This is what happened when a plane was scheduled to land in Catania, Italy, but was diverted. Initially reported by La Repubbilca, during a regular Lufthansa flight from Frankfurt to Catania, the flight was forced to hold above Catania due to a fire breaking out in one of its terminals. Before long, the flight was forced to divert to Malta. However, the pilot who seemed less than happy with the diversion then decided to leave a penis-shaped pattern in the sky before flying to Malta. On the air traffic site Flight Radar, we can see the aircraft, LH306, drew a giant phallic pattern with its flight path just off the coast of the city. The massive phallus was more than 24 kilometers long, meaning it was almost as long as the entire island of Malta. And once the pilot was done with the message for Flight Radar onlookers, the plane made its way to Malta landing around an hour later. The pilot’s crude work would not have been visible to onlookers on the ground as it would have been too large of a drawing to see in full with the naked eye. So the only way we can truly see the pilot’s work in full is through flight trackers. But this is not the first time pilots have decided to leave a phallic mark in the skies. A US fighter jet drew a “sky penis” over a Russian base in Syria. And a Maltese army helicopter pilot once drew a penis over the skies of Malta. It appears to be a growing trend.

Crocs splits the internet after launching cowboy boots: “Fashion is dead” Unsplash: 1MilliDollars / CrocsCrocs has unveiled their latest design, cowboy boots, and the internet is undecided on whether it’s a fashion statement or a disaster. Crocs were once considered “the world’s ugliest shoes”, but that hasn’t stopped countless buyers from purchasing them and the shoe even became a top choice during the pandemic. Now, the company is venturing into new territory with its latest design creeping above the standard ankle height to offer buyers a whole new look; croc cowboy boots. The internet, however, is not fully convinced, with opinions divided following the Western-inspired reveal. “Fashion is dead. This is criminal,” one person wrote, evidently not a fan. Others called the boot an “abomination”, and another commenter said, “Me and my boys aren’t buying this, respectfully.” Despite many being horrified by the boots, Crocs stated during the release of the shoe that it was in fact inspired by their own fanbase. They said, “For years, the buzz around a Crocs-inspired cowboy boot has been building, creating a genuine fan-fueled movement trending across social media. Recognizing this passion, Crocs is making fan dreams come true, turning the Crocs Classic Cowboy Boot into a reality.” So, while not for everyone, it seems the boots are still expected to be a hit with fans of the brand. And already, some are revealing themselves; “I need these so much.” Featuring a spinning spur charm, the boots launch on October 23 and will be on sale for a limited time, costing buyers $120 a pair. In October, the new Critical Role season finally got underway. Fans of the long-standing Dungeons & Dragons series have been eagerly awaiting the promised return to Marquet after Season 2 ended in spectacular fashion, and the show’s new campaign delivered in a big way. In the process, the long-running D&D show, which first started as a side project for several voice actors in 2015, has marched its way into Twitch history books. This month Critical Role hit 111,000 subscribers on Twitch, clearing site superstars like Shroud (101k), xQc (82k), and Summit1g (94k) in the process. The subscriber haul puts the episodic D&D series fourth on the all-time Twitch subs leaderboard behind Ranboo, Ninja, and reigning king Ludwig, who boasts a 283k highwater mark after an iconic Twitch subathon earlier this year. Considering November has only just begun, Critical Role also has the chance to overtake Ranboo, who sits just 5,000 subscribers ahead. Today, Critical Role’s channel boasts a million followers. Despite not dominating Twitch headlines, Critical Role is the highest-earning channel on Amazon’s platform, outstripping major creators like xQc, Shroud, and even the now-banned Dr Disrespect. In September’s Twitch leaks, it was revealed the D&D show has made $9.6m from subscribers since 2019. During the show’s third season premiere, Critical Role’s concurrent viewers hit just over 212,800, and another 274,297 have since watched on-demand. • Cristiano Ronaldo overtakes GTA 6 comment to smash internet world record – Dexerto

Cristiano Ronaldo overtakes GTA 6 comment to smash internet world record Wikimedia CommonsCristiano Ronaldo has smashed an internet world record, overtaking Dylan Page’s GTA 6 post to become the most-liked comment ever on social media. The Real Madrid legend was quick to welcome the newest member of the modern-day Galácticos to the Bernabeu on June 3, as Kylian Mbappe finally announced his dream move from Paris Saint Germain to the Spanish capital. Ronaldo made 438 appearances for Madrid, netting an astounding 451 goals and taking home four Ballon d’Or’s during his nine-year stay at the club, according to the club’s official website. He etched his name into the history books as their greatest-ever goalscorer. Ronaldo breaks world record with Mbappe comment In what many have viewed as a ‘passing of the torch’ moment from one great forward to another, Ronaldo’s comment on Mbappe’s transfer post has been liked over 5.1 million times. He said: “My turn to 👀 Excited to see you light up the Bernabéu.” The Frenchman didn’t get ratioed by his legendary counterpart, though, with a staggering 23 million likes on the announcement. The photos showed Mbappe in Madrid training gear years ago and one featured Ronaldo in there, standing by his side. A number of other iconic Los Blancos legends chimed in with words of congratulations after hearing the news, including David Beckham and Sergio Ramos. They did not come close to Ronaldo’s comment, though, with under 1.5 million likes between them. Beckham said: “Congratulations you friend. More exciting times ahead.” Ramos, his former teammate at PSG, added: “Welcome bro.” Dylan Page responds to Ronaldo snatching his record Cristiano’s record-breaking comment overtakes Dylan Page, a popular TikTok content creator and influencer, who held the crown previously with 4.5 million likes. His top comment was him saying “Most liked comment about GTA 6 before GTA 6,” which came with a skull emoji. He set the record in February and has since posted a TikTok saying Ronaldo “broke the hearts” of 4.5 million people. “Our poor baby was only five months old and he didn’t even have the chance to grow up before he was brutally murdered by this man,” he joked. “They say he even Sui’d as he did it,” referencing Ronaldo’s famous goal celebration. Away from Instagram, according to Dexerto data research, Mbappe racked up a whopping 570,000+ mentions across X, YouTube, and Reddit in the three days after the transfer news. Fabrizio Romano had been exclusively reporting on developments throughout April and May. Before anything was made official by the club or player, he finally signalled the deal was done with a vintage “here we go” tweet on June 2 – a day before Mbappe’s public posts. Next season, Mbappe will have the chance to kickstart his own era at Madrid, slotting into a team of newly crowned European champions. Taking the position up front, he will be supported by Jude Bellingham, Rodrygo, Vinicius Junior, Dani Carvajal, Luka Modric, and other serial winners. Cristiano Ronaldo may not be playing for the most successful team in club football anymore, but that hasn’t stopped him from continuing to break records on and off the pitch. Not only does he have the internet crown for most-liked comment on social media, but this season he scored 35 goals in the Saudi Pro League and is the only player to win Golden Boots in four different countries.

Creepy “Zombie” photo at beach has the internet baffled Mosman LivingThe internet has been left baffled and concerned after a photo showing a group of people seemingly stuck in a “trance” on a beach in Australia was shared on Facebook – however, the reason is a lot less scary. A lady by the name of Francesca came across the “strange” sighting while walking along a beach in Sydney, Australia, which she proceeded to take a photo of. The image shows a large group of people who are standing still on a beach and are spread out from each other as they are all looking out towards the sea, almost as if they are in a “trance.” As the local was left confused, she posted the photo in the Mosman Living Facebook group with the caption: “Does anyone know why people stand individually on Balmoral Beach on Sunday mornings? I would love to know.” After uploading the photo, it soon gained traction and has swept the internet. As comments flooded in on Facebook and Twitter/X, leaving many baffled, concerned, and wondering what on earth is the reasoning behind it. Creepy beach photo has left the internet baffled Many commented on it being “strange”, “scary”, “weird” and “creepy”, with many comparing it to a scene from a “zombie movie” and being because of “aliens.” “Could it be a cult?” one viewer suggested. Others not so much, who instead took it as a chance to jokingly react. “I’m just waiting for Jesus to walk out of the water now,” one said. “NPC activities,” a user said and another stated: “They just saw a really big spider.” However, the reality is that the actual explanation is far less concerning after a fellow local posted an update to the original Facebook post. “It turns out the group were doing a walking meditation(walking, standing still & lying down) according to the teachings of Dr Joe Dispenza. They meet most Sundays,” the user said. According to a statement by the doctor himself on his website: “The walking meditation is a great way for us to begin to not only embody our future while living in the present moment, but to start practising living in that energy, living in that future.” The internet has also been captivated after a flight had to emergency land after a passenger experienced “Biohazard” Diarrhea.

  • Creepy Twitch fan blasted for trying to hunt down & date female streamer – Dexerto

Creepy Twitch fan blasted for trying to hunt down & date female streamer Unsplash / Twitch[jwplayer Y7PB7YwV]A Redditor, ‘TA1381,’ has asked for advice and feedback on his plans to meet and hopefully start dating a Twitch streamer. Many have firmly responded that he needs to rethink this behavior. The ‘relationship_advice’ subreddit is typically angled toward actual relationships, but a controversial parasocial relationship has now risen to the forefront as people try to stymie a Twitch fan’s plans to eventually date a streamer — by getting employed at a vitamin store near her gym and hoping to meet her. How can I [22/M] start dating a Twitch streamer that I really like? pic.twitter.com/dGvCzTr2j1 — relationships.bsky.social (@redditships) August 22, 2020 As TA1381 casually explains, he’s a 22-year-old male who has been watching a female streamer a lot and has “grown to like her quite a bit.” Wanting to be differentiated from other viewers who may be “attracted to a hot Twitch streamer,” he expands that she is “really pretty,” but he likes her personality because she is “into stuff like gaming, Star Wars, and some of the other ‘nerdy’ things.” Most importantly, “she lives in my city.” Further, as explained in different comments, TA1381 doesn’t want to message his crush on social media because “this girl is out of my league in terms of looks.” So he would rather try and meet her and strike up a conversation, through getting employed “at vitamin and nutrient stores that I suspect her of going to.” He came to Reddit looking for advice and feedback, and those responses have been unanimous: do not do this. please understand this is not acceptable logic. you cannot have a relationship with someone that started with you hunting them https://t.co/bIdSd8NuxL — Kris Straub (كريس) (@krisstraub) August 22, 2020 NO. NO NO NO NO. THIS IS NOT OK. EVER. I HAVE HAD PEOPLE IN MY STREAMS SAY ‘ONE DAY I’LL FIND WHERE YOU ARE’ AND IT IS 100% NOT FREAKING OK. https://t.co/HxPAArdyzH — Kelli ♫ The Opera Geek ♫ (@TheOperaGeek) August 22, 2020 i can think like this person. it’s all said very thoughtfully and unmenacingly. and after all, how does one meet someone? but the driving logic is rotten, irredeemable. parasocial != social — Kris Straub (كريس) (@krisstraub) August 22, 2020 As Kris Straub elaborates, “I can think like this person. It’s all said very thoughtfully and unmenacingly. And, after all, how does one meet someone?” This is all valid, TA1381’s post, unless it’s a perfectly crafted troll, exudes a calm, logical earnestness. But that doesn’t justify a “driving logic” that Straub describes as “rotten, irredeemable.” That appears to be somewhat recognized by TA1381, as they mention in a separate comment that they would not “even mention being a fan who watches her streams.” Suggesting an awareness that it is creepy to be someone’s fan and track down a way to meet them in the real world. We all have day dreams and fantasies about stars we think are dope, sure, but I cannot stress enough how not okay this is. This idea that “if she just meets me she’ll fall in love with me” is delusion. Not to mention incredibly scary for her. Please don’t ever do this. https://t.co/xh1BJyjVeX — Caiti Ward (@Caiti) August 22, 2020 This is fucking terrifying, and people wonder why most women are so private about their lives on Twitch. https://t.co/NP14h7qKJG — Autumn (@AutumnRhodess) August 22, 2020 https://twitter.com/jacquicollins_/status/1297233577357258752 Ultimately, some responses to this plan try to understand where he is coming from, some simply shut it down, and others mention just how directly this reflects the plight of many female streamers. Overall, they are all in agreement that these actions constitute stalking and should never be even remotely considered.

  • Creators furious as MrBeast nets $250K on Twitter/X for posting old video – Dexerto

Creators furious as MrBeast nets $250K on Twitter/X for posting old video YouTube: Curiosity StreamCreators are furious after MrBeast revealed he earned $250K after uploading an old video to Twitter/X, sparking criticism against both the YouTube star and Elon Musk. Jimmy ‘MrBeast’ Donaldson is taking his YouTube talents to Twitter, recently posting his first-ever full-length video to the social platform as part of an experiment to test the site’s ad revenue. However, the test was soon met with backlash after users speculated that MrBeast’s post was being promoted as an “undisclosed ad,” with a swath of users claiming they were being served the video as soon as they opened the app. A week later, MrBeast announced that he’d made $250K from the viral video, which he’d initially posted to YouTube back in September 2023 — and it looks like quite a few creators aren’t happy about this news. MrBeast slammed as Twitter/X video rakes in $250K MrBeast disclosed his earnings in a post on January 22, 2024. While he was clearly gobsmacked by the amount he’d made, he also called the big number a “facade.” “Advertisers saw the attention it was getting and bought ads on my video (I think), and thus my revenue per view is probably higher than what you’d experience,” he theorized. Despite his explanation, a large number of fellow content creators are sounding off in the replies beneath his viral post, with many upset that MrBeast made so much money while smaller creators struggle to make mere hundreds on the site. “Yeah wtf, Elon literally gave you all our ad revenue, ’cause we got NOTHING, LMFAOOO,” one user wrote. yeah wtf Elon literally gave you all our ad rev cuz we got NOTHING.. LMFAOOO — ryan 🤿 (@scubaryan_) January 22, 2024 “Interesting, I got $102.57 for 30 million impressions,” another posed. “Lol so this is why my revenue was cut in half even after I doubled my engagements, lmao,” yet another said. lol so this is why my revenue was cut in half even after i doubled my engagements lmao — FearBuck (@FearedBuck) January 22, 2024 However, others are in MrBeast’s corner, with one user arguing: “Dang, all I gotta do is make increasingly high production videos and build a massive audience over the course of many years of grinding and hard work and I could make big money, too.” Even large creators like CouRage commented on the situation, saying, “I received your video a couple times as an AD haha. Appreciate you calling that out. I wonder what it would’ve made without it getting promoted ads like that. Fun experiment!” I received your video a couple times as an AD haha. Appreciate you calling that out. I wonder what it would’ve made without it getting promoted ads like that. — Jack “CouRage” Dunlop (@CouRageJD) January 22, 2024 Fun experiment! It’s worth noting that MrBeast has given away all the cash he made with the video to his fans, saying in a follow-up post that he would give ten users $25K each if they reposted his tweet. This is far from the first time MrBeast has received criticism due to his viral online antics. In 2023, the YouTuber got hit with backlash after paying for people’s cataract surgeries as critics claimed he was “only seeking YouTube growth.”

Not only have celebrities like country artist Zach Bryan and NBA All-Star Shaq co-signed her unique vibe, she’s also made over $65K from her merchandise collaboration with Fatheads. Though she stated in a viral Instagram post that she has hired an attorney and a manager to help navigate her rise to stardom, the creators of her viral TikTok, ‘TimandDeeTV,’ might give them a run for their money. In an interview with the New York Times, Tim Dickerson and DeArius Marlow shared that they have already filed 50 copyright claims for the rights to the initial video they posted of Welch spitting onto the ground while saying, “Hawk Tuah.” Once the video blew up, social media users got rid of the ‘TimandDeeTV’ watermark, leaving the duo to take up the matter legally. Marlow went on to claim that, had they not interviewed Welch at the bar scene in Nashville in June, she would have never gone viral. He also said that Welch asked the duo to “spice up the questions” – leading to the query that prompted the viral glob of spit heard around the world. “At the end of the day, nobody would know who she was if we didn’t bring it to light and post it,” Marlow told the NYT. Marlow also talked about how viewers thought Welch’s “Hawk Tuah” video was the start of his and Dickerson’s online fame. “A lot of the audience who hadn’t seen us before think we grew off this one clip. People were treating it like we’re nobodies and didn’t already have a platform,” he said. Though Marlow and Dickerson would like to see credit for launching Welch’s fame, they haven’t heard back from her lawyer about collaborating on anything else.

  • Creator reveals hilarious pasta comment that got him banned from TikTok Live – Dexerto

Creator reveals hilarious pasta comment that got him banned from TikTok Live TikTok: Brokenatbest/Pixabay: AngelorosaA creator by the name of “Brokenatbest’ was banned from TikTok Live streams for “harassment and bullying,” but has revealed the hilarious comment that got him wrongfully banned. As TikTok has continued to grow throughout the years, the platform added live-stream features in an attempt to compete with Twitch and YouTube Gaming. It’s boosted a lot of creators’ ability to interact with their fans, however, sometimes they’re hit with bans for seemingly no reason. Brokenatbest was banned from TikTok Lives for “harassment and bullying,” but has revealed the hilarious pasta comment that actually caused the punishment. Banned on TikTok for a comment about pasta In his video, Brokenatbest revealed that his live stream ended because he received a ban from TikTok for “harassment and bullying.” However, he wasn’t harassing or bullying anybody during his stream. It was a comment about lasagna that led to his ban. “The reason for that is because I said lasagna isn’t a real pasta because all you can make with it is a casserole. While you can make a casserole from any pasta, you cannot make any other pasta dish from lasagna and so because of that, it is defective,” he explained. (Click here if TikTok doesn’t load) The video quickly gained traction with fans, who took to the comments to express their thoughts. One user said: “I’m sorry I brought up casserole.” While another replied: “Damn, I’ve said much worse in lives for sure.” Others simply echoed the creator’s thoughts about the situation and agreed with the fact someone in his TikTok Live must have reported it. Thankfully his live-streaming privileges have returned, but maybe next time the creator won’t make fun of pasta. For other viral TikTok stories, head over to our hub.

TikToker and Chef ‘Chef Pii’ has gone viral over the last few weeks thanks to their ‘Pink Sauce’ that she initially shared in June 2022. It quickly took the internet by storm, and fans of the product can purchase it from her website for $20 a bottle. However, creators have begun voicing their thoughts about the product — sharing concerns about food safety. ‘Pink Sauce’ under fire over food safety concerns TikToker Seansvv shared their thoughts in a video, expressing that they believe in entrepreneurs and want them to succeed. Sean is well known on TikTok for being a creator that “reads the fine print,” and pulls out details from a company’s Terms of Service. Sean explained that the product doesn’t make sense and that if a TikTok user gets sick from eating Pink Sauce, they’re scared for both the person who got sick and Chef Pii. “I’m seeing so many errors on this nutritional label. I’m seeing 444 servings, which is 14.4 grams, and would mean the bottle has over 6,300 grams in a bottle which is inaccurate,” Seansvv explained. The TikToker also mentioned that throughout the videos and pictures shared, the hue keeps changing which leaves them even more scared for the people eating it. (Click here if TikTok doesn’t load) Users have also taken to Twitter to express their thoughts about the viral ‘pink sauce.’ One user tweeted: “I cannot stop looking into the pink sauce on TikTok… like I’m SO obsessed that she just completely mislabeled the nutritional information so it would have angel numbers.” While another user said: “Wait. So y’all paying $30 to have some random woman ship y’all some secret pink sauce she made in her kitchen clear across the country THROUGH USPS in THIS HEAT?”

  • Crazy video of man saving puppy from alligator goes viral – Dexerto

Crazy video of man saving puppy from alligator goes viral Pixabay: pixel2013Dramatic surveillance camera footage of a Florida man rescuing his puppy from the grip of an alligator has gone viral on social media. The tension-filled footage, which has amassed over 156.7k likes in a Tweet shared by New York Times reporter Juan Vidal, the man can be seen wrestling the alligator underwater before prising it’s mouth open, allowing the small puppy to break free from his grip and run to safety. If the footage itself wasn’t gripping enough, many social media users found themselves entranced by the man’s firm and calm demeanour throughout the ordeal, with Vidal calling the man a “legend” for being able to save his puppy from certain death without even taking his cigar out of his mouth. While people across the internet praised the man for his bravery, one Twitter user admitted that they didn’t possess the kind of fearlessness the man in this video clearly did. jesus christ. i would have just uh, gotten a new dog. — Studs Urkel ☭ (@conzmoleman) November 22, 2020 In a Tweet that got over 700 likes, the user joked that the alligator could keep the dog and that they’d just buy another one. Meanwhile, with some people on Twitter expressing concern that the man could have sustained injuries from the brave move, another user quipped that the man “probably stitched himself in the parking lot with some fishing line and hook.” Luckily, as reported by CNN, the man, who was identified as 74-year-old Florida retiree Richard Willbanks, got off pretty lightly from the encounter – he just had slightly “chewed up” hands and had to go to the hospital for a tetanus shot. In addition to this, the puppy in the video has been identified as Willbanks’ pet – three-month-old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Gunner. He, too, seems to have escaped the incident relatively unscathed, with Willbanks confirming that while Gunner sustained a small puncture wound during the attack, he is doing well now and is going to be just fine, in no doubt down to his owner’s heroism!

  • Crazy Sea of Thieves ‘rocket ship’ bug leaves Summit1g in shock – Dexerto

Crazy Sea of Thieves ‘rocket ship’ bug leaves Summit1g in shock Summit1g / David MilliganSea of Thieves, but never before has he seen one turn into a rocket ship – until now. The popular streamer had been playing Apex Legends throughout the course of February, but now he seems to be back to his old tricks – stealing prized Athena Chests from other crews across the seven seas. Summit might have built a reputation for hilariously stealing loot right from under the nose of others, but after sinking a Skeleton Ship to a point where it looked ready to be looted with ease… Little did he know that a very unexpected surprise was waiting to happen. This type of Galleon can be seen dotted around the Sea of Thieves map, giving online players an opportunity to battle against a pirate crew and take their loot away from them. After taking out all of the skeletons and hitting the boat with a bunch of cannonballs, it started to sink. With nobody left on board, Summit’s team spun their ship into a better position and prepared to plunder the vessel in the hopes of some incredible treasure. However, the closer that they got, the more they started to realized that this particular Skeleton Ship wasn’t about to sit around and wait for them to loot it. “Where’s that ship going?” a teammate said, before it left the group of players stunned and took soared high into the air like a rocket. It all happened so quickly that Summit actually missed what had just happened. “Did it just fly?” Summit said. “What happened? I took my eyes off it for one second. “ As the ship was “in orbit” – as the team put it – they hoped that the game would have leave behind the loot for their troubles. Unfortunately for them, there weren’t any chests to be claimed in the water. This is not the first bug that Summit1g and his teammates have experienced with Skeleton Ships in Sea of Thieves. The former CS:GO streamer once landed on top of one and destroyed it without firing a single shot, as it completely disappeared. Even then, the loot stayed behind. Not this time, though.

  • Crab Game devs issue Twitch warning after xQc gets DDoS’d – Dexerto

Crab Game devs issue Twitch warning after xQc gets DDoS’d Steam: Crab GameFollowing DDoS attacks on xQc and Sodapoppin, one of the developers of ‘Crab Game’ has taken to Twitter to warn Twitch streamers about public lobbies. When you connect your computer to the internet, you’re given an IP address to identify your specific computer. Unfortunately, if the wrong person gets ahold of your address, they could perform what is called a DDoS attack which floods your internet router with traffic, overwhelming it to the point it stops working. This type of attack is something a streamer never wants to experience, as it can prevent you from accessing the internet — effectively stopping all attempts to stream in its tracks until the attack is over. As the free-to-play game with modes similar to Netflix’s hit show Squid Game has gained popularity, xQc played it live and was quickly attacked when the game’s public lobby mode leaked his IP address to the public. However, the dev has addressed the issue on Twitter, announcing a fix coming soon. Crab Game developer issues warning xQc and Sodapoppin are among the creators that have been hit with a denial of service attack, both being attacked right after playing the game. Since then, the developers have admitted their mistake and have issued a warning for all creators on Twitch. They tweeted out: “If you’re a streamer you should probably stay away from public lobbies in Crab Game for a few days, until I update it, as you risk getting DDOS’d currently. “I apologize to everyone who experienced this, I’m an idiot.” (1/3) If you’re a streamer you should probably stay away from public lobbies in Crab Game for a few days, until I update it, as you risk getting DDOS’d currently. I apologize to everyone who expeirenced this, I’m an idiot. — Dani (@DaniDevYT) November 2, 2021 They go on to explain that they thought the public lobby system was a fast and good solution before admitting they should have done more research while developing the game. “The game is built on Facepunch Steam P2P networking, which seemed like a fast and good solution. But it is apparently very unsecure, and you can sometimes leak your IP. I’m changing it to the new and more secure Steam Networking now, but it might take a few days, as I have to change a lot of my networking code. “Sorry to everyone who was affected by this, I should’ve done more research before implementing networking the way I did.” (2/3) The game is built on Facepunch Steam P2P networking, which seemed like a fast and good solution. • Court date set for xQc and Adept divorce trial – Dexerto

Court date set for xQc and Adept divorce trial Twitter: AdeptA court date has been set for the divorce trial between Twitch star Felix ‘xQc’ Lengyel and his alleged wife, Adept, after she filed for divorce in November 2022. xQc is one of the most prominent broadcasters on Twitch, where he boasts over 11 million followers and even reigns as one of the site’s most-subscribed streamers overall. The Canadian influencer allegedly married his long-term partner Adept, who also streams on Twitch, in August 2020… but the two parted ways in October 2022, with xQc citing “friction” between Adept and his family as part of the reason for their breakup. Afterward, the two clashed in a heated on-stream argument in January after Adept came to his home during a broadcast, making mention that he was “violating a court law.” It later came to light, due to public court documents, that Adept’s legal team had filed a restraining order against Lengyel (although it’s still unclear if that was the order she was referencing in the explosive January stream). Date set for xQc and Adept divorce trial According to public records filed in Williamson County, Texas, an official date for a divorce trail between the two streamers has been set. The records state that the former couple is set for a Trial before the Court on May 19, 2023, following hearings for a standard temporary restraining order in 2022. Court documents pertaining to the couple claim that the marriage was “insupportable because of discord or conflict of personalities between Petitioner and Respondent that destroys the legitimate ends of the marriage relationship and prevents any reasonable expectation of reconciliation.” According to these documents, the couple had stopped living together as husband and wife starting October 31, 2022. Several other stipulations from the leaked filing also claim that xQc is not allowed to gamble on stream, nor permitted to discuss his split from Adept on Twitch. For now, xQc is remaining mum on the subject until his upcoming trial in May.

  • Courage’s TSM Fortnite roast sends Tfue into hysterics – Dexerto

Courage’s TSM Fortnite roast sends Tfue into hysterics Popular Twitch streamer Jack ‘CouRage’ Dunlop sent a light-hearted jab at esports org Team SoloMid, particularly their Fortnite team, mocking their lack of recent success. Formerly a full time caster with MLG for the Call of Duty World League, CouRage is well versed in the world of esports, and his comedy streak as a commentator has easily transitioned to streaming too. In the past, the fan favorite caster-turned-streamer has mocked teams like eUnited and their Fortnite roster, after he was eliminated by them in a game, responding with “I have more Fortnite earnings than your Fortnite team.” TSM, one of the best known esports organizations with a strong presence in Fortnite, field players like Ali ‘Myth’ Kabbani, Daequan ‘Daequan’ Loco and Darryle ‘Hamlinz’ Hamlin, to name a few. However, the team has had limited success in tournament scenarios recently, with the TSM duo of Myth and Karman ‘Kaysid’ Sidhu only managing 30th place at the WSOE 3 Fortnite tournament. Watching the final player win a Fortnite match, named ‘TSM_Herberth’, with an RPG elimination, CouRage jokingly casted the moment, saying “The best thing competitive TSM have done, in months!” The comment sent his teammates into hysterics, particularly FaZe Clan’s Turner ‘Tfue’ Tenney, who, conversely to TSM’s fortunes, is the winningest Fortnite player, in terms of prize money, ever. CouRage himself has tried his hand at competitive Fortnite, and is certainly a competent high level player, but is more intent on doing more casting at major tournaments than competing in them. Although, since his departure from OpTic Gaming, there’s nothing stopping him from signing for an organization to compete under, to put his money where his mouth is up against the TSM pros.

  • CouRageJD explains why FaZe Jarvis had to get banned for Fortnite cheats – Dexerto

CouRageJD explains why FaZe Jarvis had to get banned for Fortnite cheats Popular Fortnite streamer Jack ‘CouRageJD’ Dunlop has explained why FaZe Clan’s Jarvis Kaye had to be banned for cheating, although agrees that a lifetime ban is too long. FaZe Jarvis made headlines when he was issued with a lifetime ban from Fortnite after posting a YouTube video in which he used an aimbot in public matches. Despite public outcry over the length of the ban, and while FaZe Clan themselves have started a ‘FreeJarvis’ hashtag on social media to have the punishment lifted, the competitive player remains banned, with no sign of a reprieve on the horizon. In the latest edition of the CouRage and Nadeshot Show, the streamer, alongside guest Jordan Fisher, explained why Epic Games had to ban the pro player, even if the length is too long in his opinion. “I think that the tough thing here is that there are so many things to look at,” the 25-year-old explained. “It’s unprecedented, someone of this size doing it. I know how young my Fortnite audience is, I would argue that their audience skews just as young. “So when you do this, even when you say ‘you shouldn’t do this,’ with how easily accessible these things are, and how impressionable these kids are, they might not even be able to understand the repercussions of doing this on their own accounts.” “For him to then put it to an audience of two million people, Epic views it as, in my opinion, time to make an example,” concluded the 100 Thieves star. “Do I think it needs to be lifetime? No, but the minimum for me has to be two years, for the size of what it is. He’s absolutely made a mistake.” Video starts at 41:22 for mobile users. As one of the biggest names in Fortnite worldwide, CouRageJD believes that Jarvis was absolutely wrong to upload the video, and the FaZe Clan member is now set to take a break away from content creation as he evaluates his next step. Whether Epic Games will relent on the length of the ban remains to be seen, but it’s unlikely that it will be lifted entirely in the near future.

  • CouRage uses voice changer to do hilarious Ninja impression – Dexerto

CouRage uses voice changer to do hilarious Ninja impression Popular Twitch streamer Jack ‘CouRage’ Dunlop added a voice changer to his setup, and immediately used it to do a brilliant impersonation of fellow streamer Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins. CouRage has enjoyed great success since making streaming his full-time job thanks to his charismatic personality and ability in Fortnite Battle Royale particularly, his game of choice. However, with GTA V role-play becoming increasingly popular thanks to the likes of Summit1g and Lirik, the former OpTic member hinted that he wanted to try it out for himself – buying a voice changer to help get into character. I think I’m going to dive into GTA V RP this weekend. All I’ve done is watched this week. I need a good mic for my gaming PC to talk or figure out how to use my mic on both PCs. GoXLR can’t get here from Amazon for 5 days :/ — Jack “”CouRage”” Dunlop (@CouRageJD) March 15, 2019 During a test stream on March 17, CouRage trialled his new purchase for his viewers and was asked by chat to impersonate Ninja. The 24-year-old didn’t disappoint, adjusting his settings before saying the infamous quote from Blevins’ rage-filled H1Z1 days. While the clip was hilarious, and an uncanny impression of Ninja, Dunlop will hope to put the voice changer to good use in NoPixel – the current most popular GTA V role-play server used by many top streamers. TimTheTatman trialled the game for the first time last week with plenty of comical moments and it will be interesting to see how CouRage fares on the streets of Los Santos.

  • CouRage & Valkyrae team with Margot Robbie to promote Harley Quinn film – Dexerto

CouRage & Valkyrae team with Margot Robbie to promote Harley Quinn film Streaming stars Jack ‘CouRage’ Dunlop and Rachel ‘Valkyrae’ Hofsetter teamed up with Hollywood actress Margot Robbie, who plays Harley Quinn, to promote her and DC’s new movie Birds of Prey. The 100 Thieves content duo appeared at the Game Awards in Los Angeles, California, which awarded many people and companies across the gaming and esports sector as well as celebrating new, upcoming content for the next year or so. Among other things, viewers got a first look at the Xbox Series X and celebrated the wins of their favorite games and personalities. In one exciting bit though, we saw the stars of YouTube and Twitch take to the stage alongside Margot Robbie, dressed fully in her Harley Quinn get-up, to help promote DC’s new film Birds of Prey. As ‘Harley’ introduces Birds of Prey, saying that they’re “hijacking the Game Awards”, the camera cuts to the three of them together when Harley looks at her cohorts and simply says “you have got to be kidding me… Valkyrae, CouRage, I said no.” After pleas from the content creators to let them join Birds of Prey, she tells them that they’re “just not Birds of Prey material,” after which CouRage can no longer hold in his emotions and says “but I love you.” They then show the trailer for the upcoming female-led film. The 100 Thieves team as a whole is starting to get pretty comfortable around major celebrities, as evidenced by the success of CouRage’s parody video of Ariana Grande’s ‘Boyfriend’, in which the pop star herself made an appearance to help complete the video. Big names such as Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Rosie Perez, and Ewan McGregor also feature in the motion picture, but only Robbie was on-hand to debut the film to the Game Awards audience. The film will be a follow-up spinoff to the extraordinarily popular Suicide Squad, which released in 2016, with Quinn having left the Joker to cause havoc on her own. It’s interesting to see how far some of these personalities have come in the last few years, with a couple of streamers helping to promote a major Hollywood film a pipe dream once upon a time. That said, it was a fun skit that no doubt would have done enough to satisfy fans of both Valkyrae and CouRage, as well as DC fans.

CouRage trolls internet with “sneak peek” of new 100 Thieves house YouTube Gaming star Jack ‘CouRage’ Dunlop set fans up for the ultimate bait and switch when he teased a sneak peak at the new 100 Thieves house, only to troll them instead. 100 Thieves supporters have been eager for any kind of glimpse at the new Content House ever since Nadeshot revealed that it’ll blow people away during the December 19 episode of his podcast with CouRage. It appeared as though fans were in for a treat with a sneak peak on January 3 when the YouTube Gaming star tweeted that he would show off an early preview of the new den if his post got over a certain amount of likes – something which turned out to be a sneaky troll. I’ve officially arrived at the new 100T house! 5,000 likes and I leak an exclusive photo — Jack “CouRage” Dunlop (@CouRageJD) January 3, 2020 CouRage’s tweet accumulated the 5,000 like goal in just a few minutes, proving just how thirsty 100T fans were for any sort of brief look at the house. The 25-year-old lived up to his promise a short while later, and broke the anticipation with a follow-up post. “BREAKING NEWS! Even Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins weighed in, and stated that he’d taken back his like from the first tweet. “Just unfavorited and unliked your previous tweet,” he said. “I hate you.” CouRage hilariously hit back with a reference to when the Fortnite star accidentally leaked that he would be joining 100 Thieves back in May 2019. “I’ll give you an actual exclusive first look, but you can’t leak it like you did with me joining 100T,” he joked. CouRage & Trainwrecks bless 80-year-old streamer with insane subathon donations 100 Thieves/Twitch: Trainwreckstv, WowGrandma78A number of top streamers raided and donated thousands to a World of Warcraft streamer celebrating her 80th birthday by hosting an uncapped subathon on Twitch. Subathons have become very popular for Twitch streamers, especially since Ludwig became one of the biggest names on the platform following his. Breaking the mold and any stereotypes, though, 80-year-old WowGrandma78 made her birthday stream a subathon — but she can’t have imagined how crazy things would get. With 55k followers, WowGrandma might have hoped for some support and birthday wishes, but then the huge streamers and insane donations started to pour in. WowGrandma78 birthday subathon One of the first big streamers to catch wind of the stream was YouTube’s Jack ‘CouRage’ Dunlop, who tweeted out in support of WowGrandma alongside a link to her stream. One hour after tweeting out the link, CouRage revealed that WowGrandma received $20,000+ in donations, subs, and bits and “can afford the dentures she needs.” https://twitter.com/CouRageJD/status/1504650120586952704 Not long after that, Trainwreck came in and dropped a massive $10,000 donation to WowGrandma, who was absolutely shocked at his generosity. Her subathon timer shot up to 220 hours, and she did go on to express concern that her computer might overheat. Wow! @Trainwreckstv has donated $10,000 to ‘WowGrandma78’ who celebrated her 80th birthday live on Twitch! This all came soon after a @CouRageJD tweet that brought attention to her stream. • CouRage gifts TimTheTatman’s son a teddy bear, but it has a dark secret – Dexerto

CouRage gifts TimTheTatman’s son a teddy bear, but it has a dark secret TimTheTatman – TwitchTim ‘Fortnite just so they can gift others the items. The idea is for the streamers to open up their gift in front of their viewers while plugging somebody else’s channel, and this time it was Tim who was in for a big surprise as the audio line was completely on point. When viewers heard that CouRage got a gift for Tim, they were no doubt surprised, but those worries were put to rest once they learned it was for his son Brewer and was a physical gift. Tim opened it up on stream and it was a stuffed bear from Build A Bear Workshop wearing a Syracuse shirt, Tim’s favorite school. It would have been all good if it stopped there, but the streamer discovered there was a whole lot more to the story. When he squeezed the bear, it reminded everyone to subscribe to CouRageJD on Twitch and Tim had to quickly silence it. What started as a harmless stuffed animal quickly became a hilarious troll. At this point you have no choice but to give it up to CouRage, he definitely won this round. Tim will have to figure out some way to get back at him in the future but it’ll definitely be a hard one to top considering CouRage doesn’t have a child that presents can be bought for. Tim and CouRage are very good friends outside of streaming so it’s all in good and playful fun when they do things like this. If any of them act mad viewers have to realize they are just playing around with each other.

  • CouRage opens up about streaming “struggle” since moving to YouTube – Dexerto

CouRage opens up about streaming “struggle” since moving to YouTube Twitter: CouRageJack ‘CouRage’ Dunlop has opened up about his streaming “fears,” saying he’s struggling more than ever to hit ‘Go Live’ and play games in front of his fans because of viewership concerns. CouRage’s move to YouTube was seen as a lucrative step for the former Call of Duty caster. Having lived, breathed, and played competitive games for the better half of two decades, his passion for gaming knows no bounds. However, CouRage has been worn down by recent titles like Modern Warfare, and it’s killing his love for streaming. He’s struggled to go live recently in fear of being forced to play specific games or lose viewers. CouRage has gone live on YouTube 63 times since moving to the Google-owned platform on November 4. While he used to stream almost everyday on Twitch, the streamer has only gone live, on average, once every two days on YouTube. “I’ve played competitive multiplayer games everyday for the last 13 years, [but] in the last two months, I’ve really struggled to sign on and play them though,” he admitted on Twitter on February 29. One of the main reasons for his hardship as of late is skill-based matchmaking. Modern Warfare, Apex Legends, and even Fortnite employ skill-based matchmaking in casual lobbies to some extent, and it’s left CouRage on edge every time he logs on. “I think it’s the skill-based matchmaking that has worn my brain out. There is no moment to chill,” YouTube’s leading man explained. I’ve played competitive multiplayer games everyday for the last 13 years… In the last two months, I’ve really struggled to sign on and play them though I think it’s the skill based matchmaking that has worn my brain out. There is no moment to chill Might be time for a change — Jack “CouRage” Dunlop (@CouRageJD) March 2, 2020 “Lately, if I don’t see friends online, then I just freeze up and don’t know what to do. “I can’t play these skill-based matchmaking games by myself or else I turn incredibly toxic because it’s like I’m competing for the damn Olympics in every single one of my lobbies.” On top of that, he fears that if he strays from the usual programming of Fortnite and Call of Duty, his loyal fans might split away to other streamers like Michael ‘shroud’ Grzemiek, who is known for playing a wider variety of titles. “I want to play God of War of stream,” said CouRage. “I want to play CS:GO on stream. I want to play other games that interest me on stream. But I’ve realized I actually do have a “fear” of playing other games and having less viewers.” I want to play God of War on stream. I want to play CS:GO on stream. I want to play other games that interest me on stream. But…I’ve realized I actually do have a “fear” of playing other games and having less viewers. — Jack “CouRage” Dunlop (@CouRageJD) March 2, 2020 He apologized to those exact same fans for being “so disinterested in playing games” and not being in the public domain as much as he once was. However, he’s looking to break free, and he’s not going to care about numbers, statistics, or opinions. “Soon, I’m going to test the waters with new games. I hope you’ll support me. “If any creators want to collaborate on fun new ideas, then please do reach out. If you are a die-hard viewer of mine, then send over what you want to see from me. “I want to love signing on stream again. I’m going to figure out how to do that.” Let me teach you super smash and Overwatch. You teach me CS:GO We play party games together Let’s open Pokémon cards Literally down for anything that involves friendship. Honestly, viewers want that too. — papa fish (@jordanfisher) March 2, 2020 CouRage’s messages of concern have brought the community out in force to motivate the YouTuber to keep doing what he loves. From Hector ‘H3CZ’ Rodriguez inviting him for a few games of CoD, to Benjamin ‘DrLupo’ Lupo, Jordan Fisher, and more giving him some good game ideas, it seems like CouRage’s community is ready for their favorite streamer to branch out.

  • CouRage spits out his lunch on stream after listening to Ninja’s hilariously NSFW conversation – Dexerto

CouRage spits out his lunch on stream after listening to Ninja’s hilariously NSFW conversation Ninja – Twitch / CouRageJD – Twitch100 Thieves streamer Jack ‘CouRageJD‘ Dunlop couldn’t hold down his food after a comment by Tyler ‘Ninja‘ Blevins after spoiled his appetite and caused him to spit out what he was chewing. We’ve all been in this situation before. You’re eating dinner with a group of friends and right when you’re about to take that perfect bite, someone starts talking about something utterly disgusting. From there, you decide whether you need to are going to force the bite down or if you have to throw up. This all played out during CouRage’s stream when he took a bite of his food, but for some reason, Ninja felt like it was necessary to start talking about his pubic hair to Ben ‘DrLupo‘ Lupo. Consider my appetite ruined “Oh my god, I’m literally about to shave on my pubic hair,” he said to DrLupo. “Put a bunch of Gorilla Glue on your face and gorilla mask you. Just pubes all over your face.” This was enough to make CouRage to stop chewing on his food and going off-screen, seemingly to spit out what was in his mouth. When he returned to his stream, his mount was empty and he only had a disturbed look on his face. He didn’t seem upset about the conversation but it appeared clear that he was finished eating. People always talk about nasty things like this ruining an appetite and we just saw it play out for everyone to see. Now, there’s no way to know if Ninja or Lupo knew CouRage was eating at the time so we might have to let them off the hook. The next time you feel like you have to talk about making someone a beard of pubic hair, maybe you can do it after they finish eating to avoid this in the future. Sometimes people just want to enjoy their food in peace.

CouRage has posted a tweet with his announcement video, stating that he isn’t leaving the Google-owned platform. He stated in his video: “Yes, it is official. I am not going anywhere. Back in November 2019, CouRage became one of the first big-name Twitch streamers to leave the purple platform for YouTube gaming. Just a few months later we saw Valkyrae switch, and in fall 2021, DrLupo and TimTheTatman did the same. Now, just over two years later, CouRage posted on Twitter that he has a “life-changing announcement” followed by a video with two doors—one painted red and the other painted purple. The color of the doors has left fans wondering if the creator is moving back to Twitch. Tomorrow. 12 PM EST. pic.twitter.com/YADrIIp6gb — Jack “CouRage” Dunlop (@CouRageJD) November 22, 2021 CouRage sparks Twitch return rumors As soon as the video was uploaded, fans of the creator started wondering if he was announcing his return to Twitch where he has over 2.1 million followers. One user pointed out that he believes there’s “no way” the 100T co-owner would go back to Twitch without “loads more money.” However, it was also mentioned that due to Dr Disrespect’s Twitch ban, a move to Twitch would mean the creator wouldn’t be able to play together anymore. There’s no way you’re going to twitch that would be stupid unless there’s loads more money in the contract — CallumVerse👻 (@R4G312) November 22, 2021 It was also noted by several users that Dunlop left an interesting reply to a tweet made by Dr Disrespect just an hour before the cryptic video that may help solidify their theory of him moving platforms. It reads: “One final firm handshake” If CouRage moves back to his original channel on Twitch, he would be the first big-name creator to move from YouTube back to the Amazon-owned platform. However, this would be the second time in recent months that the website has signed large contracts with creators—the first being NICKMERCS’ contract extension on October 5. We’ll have to wait and see what the future holds.

  • CouRage solo grinds to Masters in Apex Legends to prove critics wrong – Dexerto

CouRage solo grinds to Masters in Apex Legends to prove critics wrong Respawn/YouTube: CouRageJack ‘CouRage’ Dunlop may be best known for his success in Call of Duty and Fortnite, but in 2021 he’s picked up Apex Legends and gone all-in on it. The 100 Thieves co-owner, who no doubt had a hand in helping his Apex duo NiceWigg join 100T, started grinding the battle royale title after growing increasingly frustrated with Warzone. He quickly rose up the ranks alongside NiceWigg and other highly-ranked Apex players, which led to a massive amount of backlash from long-time players, complaining that he got carried to Apex Predator. CouRage wrote a lengthy response to a Reddit hate thread calling him out, saying that he spent hours learning the ins and outs of the game, even giving some advice on how players can improve. I completed it in 53 hours.” Solo Bronze to Masters = ✅ 2 weeks ago, a Reddit hate thread about me got 8,000 upvotes and thousands of comments that I was carried to Masters and didn’t deserve my rank. Will this silence his critics? Maybe, but there’s no doubt some will still downplay his achievement. Either way, at least CouRage has proven himself to be a far better player than many had imagined.

CouRage shows off “ridiculous” new streaming setup worth $25k CouRage, YouTubeYouTube star Jack ‘CouRageJD’ Dunlop has revealed a full behind-the-scenes look at his brand new $25,000 streaming setup in 100 Thieves’ Los Angeles content house. [jwplayer smynPnSq] Following his time commentating for the Call of Duty World League, CouRage quickly became one of the most popular streaming personalities and had a meteoric rise during Fortnite’s earlier seasons. The streaming star has reached a number of milestones in recent months, such as buying his dream Lamborghini, and has now revealed a full look at his new $25,000 setup for content creation, during his latest upload on August 27. CouRage started the setup tour by revealing that he had “re-signed with 100 Thieves for over the next year” and was excited to continue his momentum with his new streaming room. The YouTuber first signed with esports organization 100 Thieves back in May 2019, and revealed that they, along with CashApp, had renovated an entire room inside their Los-Angeles based content house as a celebration gift. “It is the most ridiculous streaming setup that I’ve ever been in,” he admitted, before sharing the price and revealing the setup, “my brand new, state of the art, over $25,000 dollar investment into my streaming room.” Setup tour starts at 1:01 “I’m still in the 100 Thieves house, I’m remaining here but we overhauled the room,” CouRage added, “my old setup was solid but laughable for where I’m at in my career, I should’ve invested in it earlier.” The popular content creator first shared a look at the stream’s background, which featured a giant neon sign of his logo, his YouTube plaques, and even a small podcast setup, that he can transition to during his streams. However, CouRage explained that “the biggest investment” was made into the streaming setup itself, panning to a shot of the dual PC setup with three 240hz monitors, 2 key lights, a Sony A7R camera, and a 50 inch 4K TV. He followed up by highlighting all of the other peripherals and accessories around his new setup and finally revealed that his entire setup could be transformed into a standing desk, which will also help him to upgrade his overall stream quality.

  • CouRage shows off his makeup skills in unexpected collab with sister – Dexerto

CouRage shows off his makeup skills in unexpected collab with sister Twitch star Jack “CouRage” Dunlop may be known for his esports casting skills, but he’s hiding a secret talent, which he showcased in a surprise collaboration with his sister at the tail end of 2019. As one of the net’s biggest esports personalities, CouRage is known throughout the gaming space for his good sense of humor and popular Twitch streams, as well as being besties with other huge names like Tyler “Ninja” Blevins and Ben “Dr Lupo” Lupo. However, CouRage’s career took an unexpected turn on December 28, when the commentary star shocked fans with a tentative “step” into the beauty community. CouRage’s normally bare face was plastered onto Twitter in full makeup, thanks to a humorous collaboration with his sister, Kelly Dunlop. Boasting a neutral eyeshadow, subtle contour, and a peachy lip color, Jack’s new look oozes effortless sophistication, thanks to the skills of his beauty guru sibling. However, it wasn’t just Jack who received a makeover: in the spirit of the ever-popular “My Boyfriend/Brother/Dad Does My Makeup” trend videos, CouRage likewise tried his hand as a makeup artist on his sister — to comparatively questionable results. Unlike his own flawless face, Jack’s efforts at making over his sibling turned out to be far less delicate, with Kelly’s eyes appearing somewhat bruised in his vain attempt at a smokey eye. https://twitter.com/kellydunlop12/status/1210756448663130114 With barely-blended blush and foundation that appears several shades darker than her skin tone, Kelley’s “transformation” marks a hilarious difference between her own seasoned talents, and Jack’s beginner abilities with a makeup brush. “So um, this is how my look went,” Kelly wrote of their joint project. “I don’t see beauty guru in Jack’s future.” https://twitter.com/Only_ECHO_/status/1210829747074134016 Jack’s new look saw a slew of humorous replies from other top personalities, with names like Call of Duty pro “Attach” commenting, “F*** it, DM me,” while “JKap” commented, “I’m scared.” Although Jack’s makeup skills may not be as polished as his streaming career, it’s safe to say that his collaboration with his sister provided a much-needed laugh to close out 2019.

  • CouRage roasted by Valkyrae, Symfuhny, & family members in mean tweets video – Dexerto

CouRage roasted by Valkyrae, Symfuhny, & family members in mean tweets video YouTube: CouRageIn his latest YouTube video, Jack ‘CouRage’ Dunlop sat down and read various mean tweets that he’d received over the past five years. While most came from his viewers, a number of them came from other online personalities including Valkyrae and Symfuhny. There no denying that being an online personality or Twitch streamer can be incredibly rewarding and lucrative. However, one of the downsides is of course being under the scrutiny of everyone on social media. While it’s easy to let these comments get to you, as CouRage proved in his latest YouTube video, it can also make for some great content. Although he read out a lot of mean viewer tweets, the majority of the funny ones came from other online personalities and members of his family. Courage reads hilarious mean tweets While most of CouRage’s video is spent reading out tweets from previous viewers, scattered in between are a range of comments from various influencers, including Valkyrae and Symfuhny. Of course, none of the tweets from CouRage’s family or friends were meant in bad taste, but they were certainly hilarious. Valkyrae’s tweet from two years ago referenced a 7.0 earthquake in LA that occurred while she was living with CouRage. Rather than realizing it was the earth’s plates moving, she assumed it was CouRage jumping around upstairs. Symfuhny on the other hand kept it incredibly simple, calling CouRage a loser on Twitter and nothing more. He even received a mean tweet from his own mum saying he wasn’t her son anymore after CouRage declared that tomatoes and lettuce were disgusting. You can check out CouRage’s full video below, which even includes tweets from TimTheTatman, Ninja, and his own sister. It’s great to see that CouRage doesn’t take negative comments on Twitter too seriously, and even makes great content out of them. While some of the tweets were just outright mean, others quite creative and funny.

  • CouRage reveals who the “best” streamer is right now and why – Dexerto

CouRage reveals who the “best” streamer is right now and why Jack ‘CouRageJD’ Dunlop, a popular gaming entertainer in his own right, believes his Twitch counterpart Tim ‘TimTheTatman’ Betar is currently the best streamer out there. When it comes to streaming in the world of gaming, there is a small echelon of people who are several rungs of the ladder higher than everyone else. Two of those entertainers are Tim and CouRage, with the latter’s rise to prominence leading to them becoming very good friends and often playing games together live on stream. When asked about his thoughts on the current crop of streamers during an exclusive interview with Dexerto at Dreamhack Atlanta in partnership with Chipotle, CouRage named Tim as the “best” one, an opinion that millions of others share “Overall, I think the best streamer, in regards to his humor and what he can do, I think is Tim,” he said. Why CouRage believes Tim is the “best” streamer In CouRage’s eyes, TimTheTatman possesses the skill set and all of the qualities that a streamer needs to be truly successful and entertaining. “I might inflate his ego a little but TimTheTatman is the epitome of a streamer in his house just playing games, funny, self-deprecating,” he explained. In reality, when speaking about Tim, CouRage could have easily been describing himself, because most, if not all of those qualities certainly apply to him as well. That’s probably why the former Call of Duty caster found so much success in such a short period of time since moving to full-time streaming, because much like his Twitch counterpart, he too knows how to keep a large audience entertained while still be able to focus on the games he’s playing. CouRage and TimTheTatman – a fast-flourishing friendship One of the many reasons why CouRage was able to quickly rise to prominence as a full-time streamer was his friendship with Tim and several of the other big stars. The two have collaborated together on countless occasions, had many hilarious back-and-forths on social media, and, along with DrLupo, were part of the exclusive few who got invited to Ninja’s New Years celebration in New York City last year. It’s safe to say that as far as big streamers go, few are closer friends than these two, so it’s not a huge surprise Jack would name Tim as the best streamer right now.

  • CouRage provides hilarious response to Dwarf Mamba’s proposal to Ariana Grande – Dexerto

CouRage provides hilarious response to Dwarf Mamba’s proposal to Ariana Grande Internet personality and comedian Evan ‘Dwarf Mamba’ Eckenrode asked out American singer-songwriter Ariana Grande in a hilarious Tweet – and streamer CouRage had an even funnier response to the post. Dwarf Mamba jokingly referenced his height in the Tweet, calling Grande “almost legally a dwarf” due to her own height of 5’0 in an effort to swing a date with the singer. “Hey Ariana Grande, you’re 5’0, almost legally a dwarf, and I’m 4’2, an actual dwarf,” Mamba wrote. “So… looks like we already have something in common! Dinner? On me 😊” Mamba’s Tweet was met with a wave of jokes, including a popular line from Grande’s new single, “Thank you, next.” Hey @ArianaGrande you’re 5’0 almost legally a dwarf and I’m 4’2 an actual dwarf so… looks like we already have something in common! Dinner? On me  — Dwarf Squad (@Dwarf_Mamba) November 17, 2018 However, one of the more notable responses came from former OpTic streamer and caster CouRage, who implored Mamba to let him have a shot, first. “Dude, ‘cmon,” CouRage wrote. “Lemme get my chance first.” Other commenters speculated that Mamba had Tweeted at Grande due to pressure from YouTuber Logan Paul, who has featured the comedian in several of his vlogs and prank videos. This instance would mark even more speculation against Paul, who recently admitted to being a flat-earther during a speech at the 2018 Flat Earth International Conference in Denver, Colorado. Some viewers felt that his speech was merely a stunt for an upcoming vlog, as one photo of Paul at the Conference venue shows him with a cameraman and a ‘truth’ sticker pasted to his forehead. While Paul has yet to make a statement on the speech through social media, he did retweet Mamba’s ‘shot’ to Grande, further implying that Paul may have had a hand in the fiasco. Ariana Grande has yet to respond to Mamba’s proposal.

  • CouRage reveals his “proudest streaming moment,” and it’s pretty iconic – Dexerto

CouRage reveals his “proudest streaming moment,” and it’s pretty iconic Twitter: 100 ThievesJack ‘CouRage’ Dunlop has had a very successful transition from caster to streaming star, with plenty of favorite moments to pick from in his career. However, one highlight with Tim ‘TimTheTatman’ Betar apparently stands out from the rest. CouRage went from being one of Call of Duty’s biggest names, to one of gaming’s biggest names generally. The 100 Thieves streamer has one of the most dedicated fan bases in the space, following him on every big career move. With years spent live on Twitch and other platforms, he’s got his fair share of moments to reflect on to pick a favorite. However, he did manage to narrow it down to one prank that caught dear friend TimTheTatman off-guard, much to his hilarity. Asking himself about his “proudest stream moment” on February 9, CouRage re-shared the clip from back on his days with Twitch. “[My proudest moment was] when I went to Build-A-Bear, custom built a Syracuse bear for TimTheTatman’s son, shipped it across the country, and coordinated with his wife to have him open it live on stream just so that he would squeeze the hand and have it plug my channel,” he said. For the uninitiated, the prank dates back to August 2019, before the streamer defected from Twitch to YouTube. CouRage sent a present to the streamer for his young son in the colors of his favorite football team, Syracuse. “Let’s see what we’ve got,” TimTheTatman said on-stream as he took a first look at his new present. “It looks pretty cool. It’s a SU Build-A-Bear. Wow, Jack built this himself.” My proudest streaming moment? Tim’s wife, Alexis, who was in on the whole thing, couldn’t stop laughing as the streamer stared deadpan into the camera. He had enough too, vowing to never trust CouRage again and saying “I hate my friends.” CouRage bringing the moment back up months later must sting a little bit for Tim, given the fact it’s gained massive traction on Twitter with over 30,000 likes. However, he could also see the fun in it, sharing it with all his fans to regale in. Now that CouRage has moved to YouTube, the soundbite might need to be updated. Tim might be more ready for the prank next time he receives a parcel from Dunlop, however, but one can only hope he falls for it a second time around.

Considering his status as an internet sensation, it comes as little surprise that the streamer gets approached by fans on a regular basis during his outings. However, it seems that some fans have overstepped an important personal boundary. In an August 24 tweet, CouRage revealed that some fans have been showing up to his home, and asked them to stay away due to privacy concerns as well as the current global health crisis. This is our private home and on top of that there is a pandemic going on.” After a commenter expressed dismay that CouRage even had to make such a statement, the streamer admitted that such fans are mostly quite young, and the fault lies with their parents for not understanding or respecting personal boundaries. “It’s mainly the younger kids whose parents are to blame,” he continued. “I [hate] being a bad guy at the door, but I have to.” It’s mainly the younger kids whose parents are to blame. I had being a bad guy at the door but I have to. — Jack “CouRage” Dunlop (@CouRageJD) August 24, 2020 CouRage is far from the only content creator to have suffered from such breaches of personal space; names like YouTube king PewDiePie, TikToker Bryce Hall and more have repeatedly asked fans to keep their distance, with fans showing up in droves to the Sway House earlier this month. Even streamer Sweet Anita has dealt with an extremely serious incident of stalking, to the point of receiving death threats, showing that being an internet superstar is no cake walk — and can even be a dangerous profession as the line between real human interactions and internet-based parasocial relationships blur.

CouRage “perfectly” recreates Charli D’Amelio’s viral TikTok dance CouRageJD/Charli D’AmelioPopular YouTuber Jack ‘CouRage’ Dunlop has ‘perfectly’ recreated one of Charli D’Amelio’s TikTok dance videos with a hilarious Duet. Charli D’Amelio has catapulted herself to the top of TikTok, amassing over 24.4 million followers on the platform for her viral dancing videos. Many TikTok users often try to replicate some of the star’s videos using the app’s Duet feature, and 100 Thieves’ content creator CouRageJD was among the latest to give it a try. The YouTuber shared his attempt at the Renegade Dance which has been trending on TikTok side-by-side with Charli’s version for comparison. Although his version wasn’t as polished as Charli’s, CouRage was fully confident in his dancing abilities and let his followers decide who managed to pull off the dance better. “Like if Charli did it better, RT if I did it better,” he simply put, letting the fans choose their favorite version. https://twitter.com/CouRageJD/status/1225905653354397696 CouRage did get a considerable amount of retweets for his efforts, but, unfortunately for the YouTuber, many of his followers ultimately favored Charli’s version of the dance instead. Fellow 100 Thieves star BrookeAB offered to help him learn the fairly complex dance routine – but CouRage stuck to his guns. “What do you mean, I did it perfectly?” he joked, clearly happy with his performance. As TikTok’s popularity continues to increase, other YouTubers and streamers may look to expand onto the platform, which has made stars of it’s own like Charli. Although he fell short against Charli D’Amelio, CouRage has been having plenty of his own success. recently breaking a massive milestone on his YouTube channel.

CouRage pays tribute to Ninja with Pon Pon dance on live TV at Yankees game Twitter: CouRageJD/Twitch: Ninja100 Thieves co-owner Jack ‘CouRage’ Dunlop was invited to watch the New York Yankees take on the Texas Rangers on September 20, and decided to use his position in front of national TV cameras to shoutout his good friend Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins. While Ninja was on his huge rise through the Twitch ranks, he regularly played Fortnite with CouRage on stream and the two became very good friends, alongside the likes of new Complexity part-owner TimTheTatman and DrLupo. The pair frequently exchange jokes at each other’s expense, with CouRage especially liking to mock Ninja’s hilarious New Year’s fail, in which he attempted to get the people of Times Square to do the floss dance with him. Never one to miss an opportunity, CouRage found himself sat right behind home plate at the Yankee Stadium, with the cameras pointed towards him, and knew exactly what to do. • Popular streamer CouRage parts ways with OpTic Gaming – Dexerto

Popular streamer CouRage parts ways with OpTic Gaming In a stunning announcement on November 16, Twitch streamer and YouTuber Jack ‘CouRage’ Dunlop and OpTic Gaming have mutually decided to part ways going forward. A message posted to the OpTic Gaming Reddit page revealed that CouRage is no longer be a member of the org’s content creation team, citing the rapid growth of his personal brand as a reason for their short-lived partnership. While this announcement is likely to come as a shock to many in the online gaming community, this scenario was apparently something that was discussed even prior to CouRage joining OpTic back in March. “Before Jack joined, he and OpTicJ had discussed that this day would probably come sooner rather than later due to the great momentum he had been building with his personal brand.” Conflicting sponsorships was another reason cited for why this decision was ultimately made, as certain sponsors were only willing to sponsor the individual and not the org as a whole. “Secondarily, due to Jack’s “Courage” brand growth, there can be situations where the team has a specific sponsor, but a competing sponsor comes into the picture and only wants to sponsor the individual. These situations can be tricky and we definitely want to be just as supportive with Jack as he has been with OpTic, so we all agreed that this was the proper path.” “We have nothing but love for Jack and what he’s been able to accomplish under the OpTic banner.” CouRage confirmed the announcement in a live-stream shortly after, revealing that he was open to reviewing offers from other orgs should he receive any. CouRage makes Fall Guys history with 100 wins in marathon stream YouTube: CouRageYouTuber Jack ‘CouRage’ Dunlop hit a “new record” after competing in 100 hundred Fall Guys games in one grueling 35-hour-long stream. Battle royale Fall Guys has skyrocketed in popularity since becoming free-to-play in June 2022. As a result, Fall Guys has become one of the most popular games in the streaming community. It’s hard to find a content creator who hasn’t been showing off battling it out for victory as the little ragdoll characters. YouTube star CouRage then took it to the next level when he managed to pull in 100 Fall Guys wins during one livestream. However, that wasn’t the only success he had to celebrate. CouRage wins big during 35-hour livestream On August 1, CouRage finally concluded one of his longest livestreams clocking in at “35 hours, 57 minutes, and 46 seconds.” During the broadcast, CouRage had managed to pull in a whopping 100 Fall Guys wins against his fellow online players. He claimed that in completing the mission “Fall Guys history had been made.” Not only that but he showed his pride and excitement for the video calling it the “greatest stream of 2022.” However, that wasn’t the only victory for CouRage. The 28-year-old also revealed that his channel “broke 70,000,000 views this month across the 4 YouTube channels” earning him and his team a “new record.” Showing his appreciation to his supportive fans, CouRage said: “CoD, Fortnite, Apex, Fall Guys…It doesn’t matter! The CouRageous always have my back […] Overwhelmed by the love. Cheers, fam. I see all your positive words. Thanks for lifting me and each other up everyday.” The news no doubt also came as a relief for CouRage after having some disappointing figures due to struggles with YouTube’s algorithm. Although, his latest victory proves things are clearly on the up for CouRage with him pulling one of his most successful wins and streams of the year so far.

While CouRage had been playing off his “apartment search,” it was just a ruse to conceal that he was moving into and finalizing his transition to the 100 Thieves. In the past, CouRage’s announcement was dangerously close to being leaked beforehand, notably by Twitch star Tyler ‘Ninja” Blevins. During Ninja’s May 24 stream, the world’s most famous gamer let out a bit too much from his friend’s future plans at the time. “NICKMERCS is a little bit bigger than CouRage,” Ninja said. “But CouRage recently signed with 100 Thieves, clearly, I don’t think Jack would do that if it wasn’t a great org with great contracts.” But now that the ink has dried and videos have been uploaded, 100 Thieves and CouRage are hyped to see what the partnership will bring. –

CouRage hits out at Phil Hellmuth for ‘grown man baby’ behavior at Ludwig’s $1m poker event YouTube: CouRage: LudwigJack ‘CouRage’ Dunlop has slammed pro poker player Phil Hellmuth for his behavior during Ludwig’s all-star poker livestream. Although fans have argued that it is part of Hellmuth’s brand, it wasn’t a good enough excuse for CouRage. Ludwig fans have been glued to the YouTuber’s $1 million poker tournament livestream. Some of the famous guests who have come along for the game have included Ninja, xQc, and Alexandra Botez. However, there was one star who had Twitter divided. Pro poker play Hellmuth, widely regarded as one of the greatest players of all time, is famed for his “Poker Brat” persona. Although, it proved too much for YouTuber CouRage who criticized Hellmuth on Twitter, claiming he was dulling down an “overall great night.” CouRage slams Phil Hellmuth’s behavior In a series of tweets posted during Ludwig’s livestream on May 2, CouRage called out Hellmuth for his behavior towards his fellow players and the dealer during the game. “Man, Phil Hellmuth. As a fan of poker, I was so excited to watch you help grow the game to a new audience,” CouRage said. “Instead, I watched a grown man baby blame everyone but himself for getting rolled by streamers who were having fun.” Man, @phil_hellmuth As a fan of poker, I was so excited to watch you help grow the game to a new audience. Throughout his career, the 57-year-old has become synonymous with insulting or berating his fellow players, all in the name of entertainment. Yet, this wasn’t valid for CouRage who agreed that Hellmuth is “one of the faces of poker,” but he was “not the face of this table.” He also called on Hellmuth to tone down his ‘Poker Brat’ personality and “laugh at the hilarity of the table don’t berate it.” I’m seeing people try to tell me it’s been his brand for 15 years. I know that. He’s one of the faces of poker. He is NOT the face of this table. I’d argue MOST people tuned in haven’t watched poker before. Just tone it down. Laugh at the hilarity of the table don’t berate it. — Jack “CouRage” Dunlop (@CouRageJD) May 2, 2022 CouRage further added that he was particularly angry with the way that Hellmuth seemingly ‘berated’ renowned chess player and streamer Botez, as well as the table’s dealer. YouTuber CouRage put the issue to bed as Ludwig’s stream continued on late into the night. Although, it’s likely his fellow streamers who attended the tournament will have their say on the drama soon.

CouRage Hits Massive Subscriber Milestone on Twitch and Sends Out Heartfelt Message to His Supporters After taking a leap of faith and dedicating himself fully to his Twitch and YouTube channels, former Call of Duty caster Jack “CouRage” Dunlop has hit a mammoth subscriber count, and sent out a sincere message of thanks to his fans. CouRage was a fan favorite caster, working full time with MLG to cover various events and the CWL circuit, and reached the pinnacle in 2017 when he was given the opportunity to cast the World Championship grand final. But, midway through the 2018 season, CouRage made an announcement that came as a surprise to many – that he would step down from his full time position at MLG to pursue another passion of his. Always an entertainer and with a charismatic personality, he already had a considerable following on social media, but wanted to see if he could take it to the next level by becoming a full time streamer. Shortly after departing MLG, he was also unveiled as the newest member of OpTic Gaming’s content creation team, joining the organization in Texas and participating in their many shows. But his main focus remained his personal Twitch stream and YouTube channel, which along with the massive popularity of Fortnite, has been on a strong upward trajectory since. And on July 4th, less than six months since he left MLG, CouRage hit 10,000 paying subscribers on his Twitch channel – a feat he wouldn’t have imagined of hitting so fast. In addition to his subscriber count, he is also fast approaching 500,000 followers on Twitch and has soared past 5 million total channel views. And his YouTube channel has also enjoyed considerable growth, now creeping up on a quarter of a million subscribers – and growing rapidly, with an average of 2,500 new subscribers every day over the last month. His Twitter and Instagram pages have also seen constant growth, and so his leap of faith has so far paid off massively for the once aspiring caster.

CouRage Hilariously Trolls eUnited over CoD and Fortnite Wins OpTic Gaming’s Jack “CouRage” Dunlop clapped back hilariously when eUnited posted a clip of their Fortnite players taking him out, mocking their Call of Duty and Fortnite teams wins. CouRage and eUnited are of course familiar thanks to his time in Call of Duty as a caster, and his own dad is said to be big fans of the North American organization. CouRage was playing in a duo scrim alongside Cloud9’s ‘Hysteria’ when he came up against eUnited Fortnite players ‘Amaize’ and ‘Ashton’, who took them out with ease. eUnited posted the clip to Twitter saying they would ask their players to ‘take it easy’ on CouRage next time. But CouRage wasn’t done there, as he pointed out eUnited’s CoD teams lack of championships in the WWII season, as well as the earnings of their Fortnite roster. $70,000 donation from YouTuber Mr. Beast, promised to him if he won a solo game. For eUnited’s Fortnite roster, the future is certainly bright, with the Summer Skirmish still on-going as well as the upcoming ‘Fortnite World Cup’, which is expected to boast the majority of the $100 million planned prize pool from Epic Games. • CouRage goes berserk after dying to BRUTEs in Fortnite – Dexerto

CouRage goes berserk after dying to BRUTEs in Fortnite epic gamesTwitch streamer and 100 Thieves owner Jack ‘Fortnite players who have an issue with the game’s new BRUTE Mechs. The BRUTE was introduced with Fortnite’s v10.00 patch on August 1 and while it may be entertaining for some players, streamers and pro Fortnite players have been raging against how over powered the new vehicle is. Epic Games responded with a statement on the mech backlash on August 15 and told everyone the BRUTE’s were here to stay for the foreseeable future. This picture says it all, really. What happened to CouRage? During a Twitch Rivals match with fellow streamer Tim ‘TimTheTatman‘ Betar, CouRage had several BRUTEs attack his team’s build at once – ending the way most mech vs. non-mech fights seem to. The streamers’ defenses were destroyed in a matter of seconds and CouRage was knocked out soon after, which threw him off on a tirade against the vehicle. “F**k the meeeeccchhhsss,” CouRage raged with some xQc-worthy desk smashes. “Why the f**k are they a f**king thing dude? ” “They’re so f**king stupid dude,” Tim replied. “Why did they just blow up that one building we were in dude?” It’s the same complaint almost everyone has about the BRUTE’s – unless you have one as well, it’s a serious challenge to take out one of the OP machines, let alone three. Streamers quitting a $400,000 content creator tournament. I struggle to see how anyone who plays this game genuinely thinks it is in a good state right now. Sad. pic.twitter.com/1jHXo9lJjF — Kristian – Fortnite esports (@FortniteBRLive) August 21, 2019 Is the BRUTE driving Fortnite players away? CouRage’s latest encounter with the BRUTE seems to have been a breaking point, with the streamer telling Tim he was “done” with the game. “I’m not playing anymore bro, I’m off this game, I’m sorry Tim, I’m not playing anymore today,” CouRage told his partner. “I love this game so much, and how incompetent is this decision dude? I’m off this game – I can’t play it.” “We were literally hiding in the building with no real builds around us HOPING the mech would just pass over us,” said Tim, who obviously isn’t a fan of the BRUTEs either, said on Twitter. “Sad that we have to play that way right now…” Just for the record… we were literally hiding in the building with no real builds around us HOPING the mech would just pass over us. Sad that we have to play that way right now… — timthetatman (@timthetatman) So even though Epic Games have basically told Fortnite players to accept the BRUTEs into their lives, that doesn’t mean anyone is really happy about it. Besides people who manage to get the mechs, of course.

  • CouRage gets interrogated by 10-year-old’s mother during hilarious Fortnite stream – Dexerto

CouRage gets interrogated by 10-year-old’s mother during hilarious Fortnite stream Jack ‘CouRage’ Dunlop is one of the biggest streamers on Twitch but that doesn’t necessarily mean that everyone will know who the OpTic man is, as he found out during a recent game of Fortnite! Fellow Twitch streamer Avalanche surprised two young players on November 4 by getting CouRage into a game of Fortnite with them, something that resulted in the two fans losing their minds entirely. Unfortunately for CouRage, the mother of one of those players was more than a little bit suspicious of his actions and decided to interrogate him about his intentions! “Okay, and, uh, do you usually play with boys this age?” she asked after a brief introduction between herself and Jack. “Do you know how old they are?” “Oh, hey, listen, they watch my videos. I joined in to surprise them, and the next thing you know, you know, and now we’re here playing,” replied a clearly flustered CouRage! “And do you usually surprise boys this age?” the mother responded, continuing her interrogation of the OpTic man. “No, hey, he can leave if you don’t understand what the scenario is,” stammered CouRage as Avalanche struggled to stifle his giggles. “Well my son is very happy that you are playing with him, but I’d like to know if you do this often…” continued the child’s mother before CouRage finally managed to pacify her by explaining his occupation as a YouTuber. The former Call of Duty commentator has seen his popularity skyrocket since switching to the role of a full-time streamer and content creator for OpTic Gaming, concentrating most of his efforts on the incredibly popular Fortnite Battle Royale. With almost 1 million followers on Twitch and over 600,000 subscribers on YouTube, it’s far to say that CouRage is fairly well known in the gaming and streaming community. However, that doesn’t mean the parents of his fans will always recognise him! While this particular situation was hilarious, there have been examples of young players being exploited in video games in the past. With that in mind, parents keeping an eye on who their children are interacting with online should be commended.

  • CouRage fights back against Fortnite’s most notorious stream sniper – Dexerto

CouRage fights back against Fortnite’s most notorious stream sniper Popular Fortnite stream sniper, but it appears that he may have the proof to get the cheater banned for good. The sniper, known as tctroy0 on Twitch, has been caught in the past targeting popular streamers in the battle royale title, and had his account suspended back in January after targeting FaZe Clan star Turner ‘Tfue’ Tenney and Gen.G member AvaGG. Following his ban, tctroy0 is back and still attempting to ruin streamers’ broadcasts, this time targeting CouRage and Marcel ‘BasicallyIDoWrk’ Cunningham while the pair played duos matches on Thursday, March 21. CouRage and BasicallyIDoWrk found themselves hunting for an enemy in Pleasant Park, when BasicallyIDoWrk was taken out by an enemy sitting in the garage of the building waiting for him. When CouRage attempted to push in and eliminate him, he was immediately killed as well by the Dual Pistol-wielding enemy. As their opponent danced, Dunlop stated: “Okay, what’s his Twitch name?” commenting that it was definitely a streamer who had TTV, which stands for Twitch.tv, in their username. His assumption was correct, with the sniper playing under the username ‘ttv TC Troy’. The pair then searched for the player’s Twitch account, and joined the stream as tctroy0 bragged about killing the pair with Dual Pistols. Both CouRage and BasicallyIDoWrk were confused as to how he knew he had killed them, as both believed they were using either Fortnite’s Streamer Mode or Anonymous Mode, which stops usernames from showing. Tctroy0 made little attempt to hide what he was doing, bragging to his Twitch chat immediately afterwards, revealing that he had been watching their streams to gain an advantage over them. “I stream sniped him. I fucking stream sniped him,” tctroy0 told his viewers. “I killed him with the fucking [dual pistols]. So you, know what? I don’t give a fuck. I don’t give a fuck!” The stream sniper then joined CouRage’s Twitch chat at his request, and explained that he was able to snipe him because Dunlop didn’t have a delay on his broadcast. As soon as CouRage read this, he screenshotted the exchange and asked his moderators from his chat, deleting the logs. “Mods, can we ban Troy now,” Dunlop told his chat. “I have enough evidence now to him admitting in my chat, plus the stream itself. So we’ve got the clip, his account and him admitting. Played like a fiddle!” At time of writing, tctroy0’s Twitch account is still up, but it’s possible that the notorious stream sniper may see it removed once again after his latest attempt to ruin broadcasts. His channel was previously suspended for similar behaviour, and it’s likely that Twitch will hand out a much stronger punishment for a repeat offence, with the possibility of his account being permanently removed. We’ll be sure to keep this post updated with any new information.

  • Courage explains why streaming is a much harder job than people think – Dexerto

Courage explains why streaming is a much harder job than people think YouTube: Courage100 Thieves’ Jack ‘Courage’ Dunlop explained why streaming is a bit harder than people think, seeing as you’re juggling a whole lot of stuff all at once. Becoming a successful streamer and content creator has become the goal of many as it’s become easier and easier to get your foot in the door with either Twitch or YouTube. However, being a full-time streamer goes way beyond just sitting down, turning on a game, turning on the stream, and fragging out for hours on end. The cream of the crop are able to manage impressive gameplay with even better stream production, making things more of a show than just watching someone play a game. As a result, things are much harder at the top than a newcomer might think, and it’s a message that Courage has reiterated. Speaking on the Courage and Nadeshot podcast alongside Ludwig and Karl Jacobs, Courage noted how some guests are happier to hear that they’re recording the podcast rather than streaming it live because of how difficult it is to be alert and switched on, even if its for just an hour. “I think a lot of people might underestimate how tough it is to be on for that many hours,” Courage said, touching on the differences between being a live streamer and a YouTuber who records and posts content afterwards. “You’re not only trying to play the game, you’re trying to entertain, you’re trying to interact with other people you’re with in the Discord, then you have people in chat, then you have the donos and reading off subs. It’s a lot. It’s a tough job. As TimTheTatMan would say, we work, we work hard.” Timestamp of 20:50 Ludwig also had a light-hearted take on things, calling streamers “heroes” and putting them up just behind nurses when it comes to having a heroic job. The hard work that goes into having a successful stream is the difference between whether you’ll end up like Courage – successful and with a legion of fans – or giving up because it’s too difficult. Some thrive under the pressure, even if it does take its toll every once in a while.

CouRage explains why he’s making big changes to his YouTube schedule YouTubeFollowing “much consideration,” Jack ‘CouRage’ Dunlop announced on March 6 that he will be moving away from posting daily Youtube videos after talking to other stars on the platform. For one of YouTube Gaming’s biggest content creators, the emphasis going forward will be on quality over quantity, and according to various other YouTubers, it’s the smartest path to travel. On March 6, Jack took to Twitter to tell his fans that he was “moving away” from daily YouTube uploads. However, fans will still be able to get daily CouRage content, as he’ll stream on days he doesn’t upload, and upload on days he doesn’t stream. After much consideration, I’ve decided to move away from daily uploads on my YouTube channel. Now, we will have days where I stream and days where I upload Also, more VLOG videos than ever before. Today, I’m uploading Maddie’s reaction to the 100T house and filming 2 room tours — Jack “CouRage” Dunlop (@CouRageJD) March 6, 2020 He also plans to create more vlog content, starting with tours of and reactions to the new 100 Thieves content house. Dunlop said in a follow-up tweet that “many top YouTubers all recommend I do this,” and emphasized a focus on the quality of his content going forward. One of those top YouTubers, Mr Beast, responded with an affirmation of the positives in CouRage’s new approach. “If you increase the [average] view duration per a video and make the videos more interesting because there is now more time and effort going into to them, your channel will perform exponentially better,” he replied. If you increase the avg view duration per a video and make the videos more interesting because there is now more time and effort going into to them (aka up the ctr) your channel will preform exponentially better. — MrBeast (@MrBeast) March 6, 2020 Change has been expected for CouRage’s channel since the beginning of March, when he explained on Twitter that he was struggling to find the capacity to play the same multiplayer competitive games on stream that he’s been playing “for the last 13 years.” He expressed that the “fear” of playing other games and losing viewers was a big reason why he avoided playing anything new on stream, and said that during recent weeks he had “never been do disinterested in playing games.” CouRage officially joined YouTube Gaming as an exclusive livestreamer back in November, and was joined by fellow 100 Thieves content creator Valkyrae just a short time later. At the end of 2019, both Jack and his podcast co-host Matthew ‘Nadeshot’ Haag said they planned to go “all in” with content in 2020. With a focus on new games and higher quality content recommended by some of the platform’s biggest stars, it’s not unlikely that fans might see CouRage break into that top echelon of YouTube sometime this year. Go Jack.

  • CouRage explains why his sub-count drove him away from Twitch – Dexerto

CouRage explains why his sub-count drove him away from Twitch Jack ‘CouRage’ Dunlop recently announced his departure from Twitch and that his new home would be on YouTube. The streamer has now gone into detail on why he felt this was the best move. From Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins to Michael ‘shroud’ Grzesiek, a number of the top Twitch streamers have been jumping ship lately and many more could be set to follow in the near future. CouRage is the latest example of a hugely popular content creator parting ways with the platform and in a recent video on YouTube, his new full-time home, he explained just what drove him to the pivotal decision. Elaborating on the transition, CouRage expressed how being on Twitch imposed a “fear of being tied down just for a sub-count button.” “When you’re a full-time streamer and you have to rely on [the] sub-button and always pushing for sub-count, it kind of eats away at your opportunities to do things off-stream,” he stated. Twitch streamers earn a great deal of their income through subscriptions, therefore, taking any time away from the platform can result in a loss of overall subscribers. This is the primary reason as to why CouRage felt it was time to step away from the platform. “Man, if I don’t go live today, then I’m gonna lose this many subs,” he explained. “And this many subs equates to this many dollars and it’s what any streamer has to go through. It’s why a lot of streamers don’t take vacations.” Describing life on YouTube, without having to constantly stress about the number of subscribers on his Twitch channel, CouRage detailed how “it’s such a freeing mindset,” being able to stream on YouTube and focus on content simultaneously. “Now doing this gives me the freedom to go and explore and take on more opportunities than I’ve ever done.” On a recent holiday in Japan for instance, he explained how he was able to “actually really enjoy [himself] and not have this toxic mentality that [his] sub-count is going down while gone.” While various other popular streamers took their communities over to Mixer, CouRage is one of the biggest personalities to transition from Twitch to YouTube, and move that he’s promised will mean fans will “see more of (him) than ever before.” With close to two million subscribers, and daily videos garnering hundreds of thousands of views, it’ll be interesting to see how well livestreams complement his frequent output.

  • CouRage drops major hint that Symfuhny and Cloakzy could be joining 100 Thieves – Dexerto

CouRage drops major hint that Symfuhny and Cloakzy could be joining 100 Thieves Instagram: CouRageJD/Symfuhny/CloakzyWith Jack ‘CouRage’ Dunlop and Rachel ‘Valkyrae’ Hofstetter becoming co-owners of 100 Thieves, fans were promised more additions to the content team — and we might already know who’s next. Dennis ‘Cloakzy’ Lepore and Mason ‘Symfuhny’ Lanier have been huge creators in their own right for some years now, but have been heavily linked with 100T for a long time. Symfuhny lives with them alongside girlfriend and 100 Thieves member BrookeAB, while Cloakzy has been a friend who regularly turns up in 100T content and seems as much a part of the group as anyone else. Cloakzy recently left FaZe Clan after a lengthy contract issue with them, while Symfuhny has been a free agent for some time after leaving NRG. Now, CouRage has dropped a huge hint that they could be both under the Thieves banner soon. In his April 30 YouTube upload, CouRage was browsing his Reddit page, on which there was a clip where CEO Matthew ‘Nadeshot’ Haag jokes about Cloak and Sym being “fake,” hence why they aren’t in 100T. Immediately, CouRage said: “I WANT Cloakzy and Symfuhny to join 100 Thieves! But they’ve got to get their sh*t figured out with 100 Thieves!” He added that he would “love for it to happen,”, saying: “I think they’re great fits, do you know how fun the videos would be?” Timestamp 8:05 Obviously, one part of what he said stands out among the rest. “They’ve got to get their sh*t figured out with 100 Thieves” almost sounds as though the discussions have been happening and they’ve simply got to come to an agreement. Of course, this could just be Jack stating that the two of them need to actually start discussions with 100T in the first place, but either way, if he wants them in, it looks like a very real possibility.

  • CouRage dismayed after YouTube algorithm gives him “worst performing” video – Dexerto

CouRage dismayed after YouTube algorithm gives him “worst performing” video YouTube: CouRageStreamer Jack ‘CouRage’ Dunlop has shared his devastation after a video he and his team had worked hard on reached disappointing viewership figures due to struggles with YouTube’s algorithm. It can be a hit-or-miss situation when it comes to the YouTube algorithm. On some occasions, it can catapult small streamers to stardom. Yet, it can also cause some of the world’s biggest creators to massively lose out on views. Some stars have slammed the platform over its ever-changing recommendations system. Minecraft streamer TommyInnit, for instance, hit out at YouTube’s “lame” algorithm. Even the king of YouTube himself, PewDiePie has had his struggles. CouRage has now shared his concerns with getting to grips with YouTube’s algorithm and how he and his team had to quickly adapt his content in order to pull in the views. CouRage shares his “pain” with YouTube On May 29, CouRage explained that he and his team had worked tirelessly to produce an exciting new video for his YouTube channel called ‘Fortnite Who Wants To Be A Millionaire ft. LazarBeam.’ However, it subsequently performed terribly potentially due to problems with YouTube’s algorithm. “YouTube can be a frustrating game,” CouRage tweeted. “We had a custom Fortnite map made based off one of the biggest shows of all time, created 25 engaging questions for our guest Lazarbeam, spent nearly a full week editing a banger video.” Yet, it went on to become his “worst-performing video of 2022” which understandably came as a massive blow to him and the team. YouTube can be a frustrating game We had a custom Fortnite map made based off one of the biggest shows of all-time, created 25 engaging questions for our guest Lazarbeam, spent nearly a full week editing a banger video. And it’s our worst performing video of 2022 to start. Pain pic.twitter.com/Wci4cLdzKv — Jack “CouRage” Dunlop (@CouRageJD) May 29, 2022 Several of CouRage’s fellow streamers offered their shared frustration with working around YouTube’s algorithm including Esfand and Alexandra Botez. Twitch streamer Asmongold also responded by offering potential options which could help resolve the issue. In particular, he suggested that it could be due to the video’s thumbnail and tags. Bro that’s obviously a W video with a 15 min watchtime, that’s insane Might have something to do with the thumbnail? Maybe the tags too I’ve had videos we retitled and gave new thumbnails too and they popped off over the month afterwards — Zack (@Asmongold) May 29, 2022 Jack and his team clearly reworked the clip before uploading it again on May 28 with a new title ‘I challenged LazarBeam to Fortnite trivia for 1,000,000 V-Bucks…’ and thumbnail. With the video having already pulled in over 117k views as of writing, it’s hoped CouRage and his team will have much more luck this time around.

  • CouRage demands answers from New World devs as mass-reporting bans continue – Dexerto

CouRage demands answers from New World devs as mass-reporting bans continue Amazon GamesTaking a break from blasting foes in Apex Legends, 100 Thieves’ Jack ‘Courage’ Dunlop is facing a different kind of enemy after being hit with a ban in New World. After much anticipation and hype, Amazon Games’ New World has finally been released, giving gamers across the globe a chance to dive headfirst into a new MMO experience. New World has brought in high-profile streamers across the board, including the likes of Asmongold and Shroud, who all want a piece of Amazon Games’ first offering. Though, it has been a bit of a hassle. Queue times are long, players have complained about the combat and quests, but for CouRage, he’s encountered a different kind of headache – receiving a ban out of the blue. Players facing 24-hour bans after mass reporting After grinding with some of the “best” players in his server, the 100 Thieves co-owner’s time in the MMO was put on a temporary pause. He claimed that a “handful” of players in the server had been served with 24-hour bans after another faction apparently mass reported them, seemingly jealous of their achievements. Clearly confused by how the bans had actually been dished out, CouRage asked the devs plainly: “Is this being looked into?” @playnewworld Question, had a handful of our best players on the server get banned for 24 hours because 20 players from another faction mass reported them. Is this being looked into? — Jack “CouRage” Dunlop (@CouRageJD) October 9, 2021 However, while CouRage was trying to piece together the mystery, DrLupo chimed in with a light-hearted jab at New World’s expense. Offering his sympathies, DrLupo added: “Also that sucks and I hope it gets fixed.” Fellow streamer Sonii noted they’d “been banned 4 times in the span of 5 days now” and that the developers are “actively working on it.” Other streamers have also been served “permanent” bans but they’ve managed to get them overturned. The developers have yet to issue an official response to CouRage’s issue and it remains to be seen if they will do at all.

  • CouRage burns The Mob after Ninja jokes they made 100 Thieves relevant – Dexerto

CouRage burns The Mob after Ninja jokes they made 100 Thieves relevant Twitch: CouRage / 100 Thieves100 Thieves member Jack ‘CouRage’ Dunlop hilariously roasted The Mob, after fellow streamer Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins joked that they were the only reason the organization is now relevant. The Mob are popular social media stars made up of members Avalanche, Froste, Mako and Classify, who joined 100 Thieves back on June 14, and are set to move out to Los Angeles in the near future to create content with the organization. There, they’ll likely meet up with fellow 100T member CouRage, who took a cheeky swipe at the motley crew of Call of Duty caster may all reside under the 100 Thieves banner, that didn’t stop CouRage from roasting his fellow members when Ninja expressed that The Mob were the reason 100T were relevant. “100 Thieves is now relevant because [The Mob] joined,” said Ninja, while CouRage cackled with delight in the background. “You mean that charity thing we did, bro?” laughed the former OpTic member in response. “Are you kidding me, bro? That’s a tax writeoff! We’re sending Froste back to Albania, Classify is going to turn into a bottle of ketchup and work at Heinz, Avalanche hasn’t streamed in four months – hashtag irrelevant – and I don’t even remember the fourth member’s name!” Of course, CouRage was joking in his cheeky dig at The Mob, with the streamer and members of the collective regularly making hilarious comments at the other’s expense on social media. While The Mob have yet to officially move out to California, it seems likely that we will see them crossover and work with CouRage on content in the future – and probably direct more funny shots at each other in the process!

  • CouRage and Ninja slam ‘Farmnite’ after another disappointing update – Dexerto

CouRage and Ninja slam ‘Farmnite’ after another disappointing update Twitch/Ninja/CourageGiant Twitch streamers Jack ‘CouRage’ Dunlop and Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins have hilariously blasted Fortnite Battle Royale, after the latest v8.40 update did not make changes to the game’s farming rate. Why have people been unhappy with Fortnite Battle Royale recently? On March 27, Epic Games introduced the v8.20 update to the battle royale mode, which reversed a number of popular changes from Season 7, including a 50 health point bonus upon elimination and a minimum of 50 of each material dropped by the person eliminated. However, another major change reversed by the v8.20 update was the reduction in material farming rate by 40%, meaning it now takes players significantly longer to reach sufficient material levels for the current build-heavy meta. Since March 27, many prominent Fortnite content creators, including both CouRage and Ninja, have been critical of the update, and have been among widespread community calls for the update to be reverted. Ninja and CouRage are unhappy with the v8.40 update’s lack of change On April 17, CouRage explains that in one match he had “zero [materials] the whole time because guess what? Here at Fortnite Battle Royale we love making you farm trees for 84 fucking minutes!” Ninja can be seen chuckling to himself as CouRage’s incredible rant continues. Read More: Dr Disrespect receives surprise phone call from FaZe Clan’s Tfue in brilliant Twitch skit – “How on Earth?” he exclaims. “How have they not given us 20% farming rate? If I wanted to play Farming Simulator, I’d move to Nebraska and be the one to literally harvest the corn for the Lupo family to eat at their thanksgiving fucking dinner!” Here, CouRage is referencing the fact that the v8.40 update did not change the core game’s mechanics back to how they were, or even compromise at a middle ground of a 20% increased farming rate. The update instead opted to add LTMs such as Air Royale. CouRage and Ninja weren’t done there however. CouRage goes on to argue he wants to play “Fortnite not Farmnite”, as Ninja shouts “preach” over the top, highlighting his agreement. The tirade ends with CouRage throwing shots at both PUBG and fellow streamer (and friend) TimTheTatMan for being boring. There has still been no official response from Epic Games regarding the community backlash surrounding the v8.20 update. Nor have they signalled any intentions of reverting the update, as a large portion of the community clearly wants.

  • Couples rivalry? Tfue and Corinna offer unexpected challenge to Ninja and his wife – Dexerto

Couples rivalry? Tfue and Corinna offer unexpected challenge to Ninja and his wife Tfue – Twitch / Ninja – TwitchTwitch star Turner ‘Tfue‘ Tenney and girlfriend Corinna Kopf challenged Tyler ‘Ninja‘ Blevins and his wife Jessica to a 2v2 UNO wagers match. Forget about 1v1s on Rust, it seems like UNO matches are the new way to issue challenges and Tfue is taking full advantage of it by challenging Ninja and his wife to this strange challenge. He wants to put money down on the line with 2v2 wager matches. Considering who’s involved and what we’ve seen in the past from these streamers and their UNO streams, there could be a lot of money and subscriptions changing hands here. I challenge @Ninja @JessicaBlevins to a 2v2 Uno wager vs me and @CorinnaKopf :joyful: — Tfue (@TTfue) June 26, 2019 Looks like UNO wagers are back on the menu If you remember back when the controversial Fortnite v8.20 arrived that removed siphon released, some of the top streamers switched to UNO for a night and wagered upwards of 100 Tier 2 subs, which equates to $1,000 a pop. The former FaZe Clan pro is no stranger to throwing around large sums of money, as you might remember he’s even spent $1 million in one day. DrLupo was called out too The challenge didn’t stop with the Blevins either, as Tfue then set his sights on Ben ‘DrLupo’ Lupo and his wife for the new challenges. It’s all in good fun but DrLupo certainly hit back with some strong words of his own. “We would body you, my child,” he said in response to Tfue’s challenge, leaving no room for confusion. There’s currently no timetable to when this would happen, but Tfue certainly sounds like he’s ready. Ninja is no slouch in UNO either so it would definitely make for an exciting Twitch broadcast. Read More: Ridiculously strict Fortnite World Cup sponsor restrictions will affect multiple players and orgs – In the meantime, we expect Ninja, DrLupo and Tfue to stick to mainly Fortnite until this match gets set up, if it ever does.

Couple’s immediate divorce leaves guest fuming after spending big bucks on wedding gifts Unsplash: Jeremy Wong WeddingsA guest has expressed her frustrations at spending thousands of dollars on her friend’s wedding only for the new bride to announce her separation from her partner weeks after the big day. One woman has been left reeling after she spent thousands of dollars on her friend’s wedding only for them to divorce weeks after the big day took place. Sharing her thoughts on the Mumsnet subforum Am I Being Unreasonable, the woman went into great detail about the situation, asking her fellow forum users if her frustrations were warranted. “Am I being unreasonable to be annoyed at spending so much money on my friend’s dream wedding day for it all to be a sham and over in a matter of weeks”, began the woman, who goes by Littlewhitedoves on the website. “I know it sounds selfish but I can’t help feeling so upset at the amount of effort I went to and money I spent on making it amazing for her. She is being so blasé about the whole situation and laughing about it being the shortest marriage, she knew it wasn’t going to last, etc. I’ve tried speaking to her seriously about it to get a better understanding. “We knew he maybe wasn’t the right fit for her and I could totally understand her decision if it was a DV situation but she said they are not right for each other. She said she didn’t want to let people down and would’ve been embarrassed to cancel. She wanted her fairytale day and the wedding of dreams.” The friend then explained that she was not aware that there were anything problems in the relationship and that, while she understands these types of situations and personal and private, she and other guests have now spent thousands of dollars for an event. “She gave no indication that there was anything wrong in the relationship and I totally understand that you never know what is going on behind closed doors. “Obviously, her happiness comes first and is more important than money but it has just irked me that I spent so much and put so much effort into little details to make it really special and essentially the guests funded a day for her to feel like a princess and it was never about getting married.” Fellow users have been commenting their support for the woman. One wrote, “Yes I’d be irritated as well. More about the blasé attitude that she was happy for people to go to a lot of time, effort, and spend money celebrating something that she knew wasn’t real. Although maybe she is putting on a brave face.” However, others noted that the guest did not need to spend all that money during the wedding, commenting that “it was your choice to spend the money. Don’t buy things you can’t afford.” For all the latest entertainment news and updates, be sure to check out Dexerto’s full coverage here.

  • Couple’s honeymoon ruined by passenger’s ‘smelly feet’ on 10-hour flight – Dexerto

Couple’s honeymoon ruined by passenger’s ‘smelly feet’ on 10-hour flight TIKTOK: hannahalamode_A couple on their honeymoon had their dream flight ruined, after a passenger exposed their ‘smelly feet’ during a 10-hour journey. The newlyweds were appalled by a fellow passenger’s terrible plane etiquette while on a long-haul “premium” flight to the Maldives. Content creator Hannah (hannahalamode_) took to TikTok to document her “honeymoon blog,” which has now amassed over 324,000 views. The video showed the couple’s airport journey, as well as the airline’s amenities, which included extensive legroom, beverages, and a free pillow, blanket and vanity case. But the pair – who had upgraded their flights to premium economy to enjoy their honeymoon trip – were baffled when they caught a whiff of someone’s feet across the aisle. “This lady over here has just taken her shoes off. We’ve not even taken off yet,” Hannah said in the clip. “And her feet are so smelly. It smells so bad. We’ve got 10 hours.” TikTok users in the comment section were appalled by the woman exposing her feet. “Oh man, smelly feet is a no no,” one user wrote. “You should have told the lady to put her shoes back on,” another said. “People that take their shoes off and have smelly feet on a plane should go to jail immediately,” a third added. Others, however, were more focused on the fact that the couple splashed out on premium economy rather than first class. “Why don’t you just fly first or downgrade to business if it’s your honeymoon?” one user questioned. “Guess you were hoping for an upgrade at check-in,” another said, to which the TikToker replied, “Would have been nice, but we bottled it and didn’t ask.” This is just the latest flight-related story to go viral on TikTok, after a woman filmed an elderly passenger sending a racist email about her.

  • Couple’s grand wedding entrance ‘ruined’ by kids in viral TikTok – Dexerto

Couple’s grand wedding entrance ‘ruined’ by kids in viral TikTok TIKTOK: tulaay_nuridinA couple’s big entrance at their wedding got ‘ruined’ by a group of running children in a viral TikTok posted by the bride. In a now-deleted clip, which amassed over 17 million views, the bride wrote “Thanks for the entry,” as she shared the incident on the short-form app. The video starts with the bride and groom entering the wedding reception hall. As they began to make their way to the red carpet, a family walked in behind them. The couple stepped to the side, and waited beside a door. That’s when six kids rushed in the door, sprinted and ran past the bride and groom who were just stepping onto the red carpet, and into the hall and line up near the red carpet, delaying their big entrance. “POV: you didn’t want kids at your wedding,” the video’s text-overlay read. In the comments, many TikTok users were frustrated for the couple, as they slammed the parents of the rowdy kids. “I always wonder with these kids of things, what were the parents thinking? So many of these situations, a parent should be stepping in,” one wrote. “I would be pissed. So many ruined photos because of that. Like, the parents could have at least made them wait. This felt intentional,” another added. “Get a damn sitter. It’s not your day, it’s the bride’s. She’s not selfish, these parents are,” a third commented. Others shared what they would’ve done if they were in the couple’s shoes. “If I was the groom I would have stopped, told our photographer to delete the video, we are going again, but only after the children leave!” one user said. “Really I would have security at the entrance and kick them out,” another shared. “Those are some big kids though. I swear if I had been the bride I would’ve used my lifeguard voice and cussed them out,” a third stated. TikTok is often a great place for wedding inspiration, but it’s just as popular for its wedding fails. Recently, a wedding guest went viral on TikTok after they were punched by the groom for ruining the cake. Then, a photographer went viral after breaking down in tears – because they had deleted every photo from a wedding they had worked.

  • Couple’s gender reveal goes viral after their 4-year-old daughter ruins it – Dexerto

Couple’s gender reveal goes viral after their 4-year-old daughter ruins it TikTok: candiceelizabethwA gender reveal went viral on TikTok after their four-year-old daughter cut their confetti-filled balloon’s string instead of popping the balloon itself. A Virginia couple’s gender reveal did not go quite as planned, after their daughter Finley accidentally released a confetti-filled balloon into the sky. In a viral TikTok clip with more than 31 million views, the four-year-old was heard counting down to the grand moment, before stepping up to the balloon and cutting its string with a pair of scissors. “No Finely!” her mother Candice yelled out, while her husband made a desperate attempt to grab the massive black helium balloon. Unfortunately for the family, it quickly soared off into the air. “Oh my God,” someone said off-camera, which was followed by laughter from both Finley and her father. According to WTVR, Candice said that Finely then started to cry, believing her younger sibling was actually inside the balloon and she had just sent her flying away. Fortunately, the family managed to do another gender reveal, where they blew colored glitter out of their daughter’s hand. They declined to share the gender of their unborn baby. In the comment section under the video, TikTok users found the whole incident hilarious. “She did not understand the assignment,” one user quipped. “It’s not the gender reveal you wanted, but it’s the one everyone deserves,” another joked. “She said ‘no sibling for me!’” a third added. Others claimed that the four-year-old did what she though was right. “You gave a toddler scissors it’s on you,” one said. “Well that is what scissors are for!” another user chimed in. This is far from first time a gender reveal fail has popped off on TikTok. Earlier this year, a woman went viral after throwing a gender reveal party for her color-blind boyfriend.

Whenever someone decides to celebrate an event or do an announcement outside, they’re taking the risk of something interrupting or potentially ruining it. Prime examples over the last year or so include a Disneyland employee and a random tourist that ruined wedding proposals on two separate occasions. TikToker DaniWaiari is the latest to go viral with such a situation after an overly enthusiastic dog ruined their gender reveal at the park, sparking a debate with viewers in the comments. Couple’s gender reveal ruined by dog at the park In the video uploaded on January 24, 2023, Dani and her husband were at the park cutting a cake for their gender reveal video. “Throwback to last year when we thought it would be cute to do our gender reveal at the park,” the video reads. The video then shows a very enthusiastic dog attempting to get a bite of the cake they had. In the days since it was posted, it’s been viewed over six million times with almost two thousand comments. “Omg, where were the owners I would’ve had so much anxiety haha,” one user replied. Another said: “Why do ppl not watch their animals when they bring them out, I don’t get it.” While others questioned why they decided to do the review at a dog park in the first place. “They didn’t account for the dog but did this at an off-leash dog park,” a viewer commented. In a follow-up, Dani revealed that they weren’t mad about the interaction. “It is a dog-friendly park but it’s not exclusively a dog park…once the cake was secured and we found out the gender I did think it was quite funny and thought it would be a memorable moment,” she explained. Thankfully nothing else happened during the interaction and the cake was safe for Dani and her husband to eat after the gender reveal.
