It was different from the final challenge in the show, but they made it work. It came down to two a battle between David and Goliath. On the weekend, the Twitch star admitted to the Post, he will totally avoid speaking just to rest his throat. Sometimes he can’t get out of bed. On planned streaming days, he sleeps for five hours. Tyler adds he often doesn’t have the energy to stream 10 hours. In a bid to hit his contracted 200 a month, however, forces himself to. “If you take one day off, [the fans] are like “where are you bro, how could you?” So I don’t miss days. Ever.” “How bad is it going to get?” Steinkamp asked. It’s already bad, he added, but admits could get worse. “Just f**k it, man. Maybe I just need to retire.” Toying with the idea is very different to actually planning out retirement though, Tyler1 explains. Throughout his career, Bruce has gotten into beef with a few other creators — one of the most popular being Kai Cenat, a top Twitch broadcaster who famously signed a deal with Rumble alongside fellow streamer IShowSpeed in May. Kai opened up about his relationship with Bruce in a tell-all livestream after his Rumble deal, saying that Bruce had claimed they were “never friends” and “the only time I called him up or ‘quote unquote’ used him was for content.” Bruce has no qualms about expressing his opinions about other creators either, saying that Twitch star Mizkif could die and “nobody would care” in an inflammatory Kick stream back in June. Now, one day later, Bruce’s alternate account was banned on Twitch, preventing him from being able to go live on his main. BruceDropEmOff banned on Twitch Bruce’s alternate account, ‘offmepordecurb’ was banned on January 26, leading to much speculation as to why he was suspended. According to Twitch’s rules, going live on another account when your main or alternate is banned is considered “ban evasion,” and Bruce would be risking further punishment by accessing his primary account. A similar incident happened with Asmongold’s back-up channel ‘ZackRawrr,’ and prevented the MMORPG streamer from being able to stream. Shortly after the ban, users on the popular LiveStreamFail subreddit began speculating on why Bruce was suspended, with some accusing him of using racial slurs. A few viewers allege that Bruce may have referred to people as “crackers” – a derogatory term for white people. Use of the word has resulted in a few streamers being banned from Twitch, including Hasan. So far, BruceDropEmOff has yet to address the ban on social media.

Back in September 2022, Ice Poseidon leaked text messages from Mizkif using racist and homophobic slurs, and it appears Bruce and his community aren’t too happy about it. This came alongside allegations that he helped cover up sexual assault, although the lawyer OTK hired to investigate the situation found Mizkif not guilty of doing so. He later went live, saying, “The reason I left is because I didn’t want to be seen as the black person that was gonna carry them to the triumph and hold the sword and take all the heat, looking bad.” He followed up with some strong words for Mizkif, saying that he had blocked him and calling him “weird as f**k” and demanding him to “never come at me like that again.” The following day, on January 26, Bruce was banned on his alt account, though he didn’t specify a reason provided by Twitch on his social media channels. After being banned, though, he went live on his main account, immediately risking yet another suspension from the platform on the grounds of ban evasion. In a reply, he shared his email from Twitch. We now know that Bruce has been unbanned from the platform, but it isn’t yet clear why Twitch unbanned him.

The ban was indefinite, which meant no exact date for a return to the platform was provided, but it came a month later, on February 27. But, his return to Twitch has been very short-lived, as his account is once again unavailable following yet another suspension on March 1. BruceDropEmOff banned from Twitch again On his initial return to Twitch, he held up a sign that said “f**k dem…” and a box of crackers, which viewers saw as a “doubling down” on the reason he was banned initially. Although the exact ban reason is not confirmed or disclosed, he has responded to the ban on Twitter. “I really hope y’all seeing this sh*t for what it truly is… please open y’all f**king eyes,” he said. Although it’s not clear what Bruce is implying exactly, fans have suggested that Bruce move to another platform: “where we moving tho kick or YouTube?” one fan asked. In a follow-up tweet, Bruce said the ban was caused by “spam reporting” over the incident of him holding the box of crackers. The message on Bruce’s channel reads that it is “temporarily” unavailable – which indicates the ban is not permanent. Permanent bans typically use a different ban notification on the channel. However, she came back a month later, revealing that she was dealing with a “painful and frightening [experience] at a personal level.” Now, she’s opened up on some of the specifics. BrookeAB was dealing with a stalker for over six months, who was doxxing her family with “the most horrific threats you can imagine.” “Like countless women in gaming and frankly, too many people around the world, for the last year, I have been targeted by a handful of online stalkers and abusers that did, and continue to do, everything in their power to hurt me and those who support me with threats of murder, arson, bodily harm, job loss, and the most horrific threats you can imagine,” she said in an October 16 statement. BrookeAB took time off social media to spend time with family, as well as work on her mental health. She also revealed that while she was offline, she was working with federal authorities in the US to help put an end to her ordeal. With the help of law enforcement, BrookeAB has managed to find some sort of justice. She stated that “the most vile offenders” are all being held accountable — but she didn’t make mention of any charges being laid. “With the help of the finest experts and law enforcement specialists in the world, several of the most vile offenders have been identified, interviewed, are being closely monitored (as you read this), and will be held accountable.” BrookeAB is using her experience with harassment and stalkers online to help other women in the gaming industry escape the same abuse. That fate has fallen on BrookeAB, especially in the early days of her relationship with NRG esports member Mason ‘Symfuhny’ Lanier. The popular broadcaster, who recently joined 100 Thieves has, again, spoken out about the problem – noting that they also helped spark her own channel’s growth.
