  • Dexerto’s best streamers of 2022 on Twitch and YouTube – Dexerto

Dexerto’s best streamers of 2022 on Twitch and YouTube 2022 has been a turbulent year for streaming, but there were a lot of exceptional broadcasters that kept us entertained throughout. We’ve picked out our ten best streamers in 2022, starring on both Twitch and YouTube. As the world opened up again this year, people headed outside more and spent less time watching, with Twitch total viewership down. However, that didn’t stop some incredible streaming talents have breakout years. The battle between purple and red for streaming supremacy raged on too, as more big names departed Twitch for YouTube livestreaming. Amazon’s Twitch platform may still be the top dog for gaming streams and more, but YouTube is certainly not relenting in its pursuit of the crown. But, the real stars of the show are the streamers themselves. Here are the 10 best this year. Note: We have a separate list for the best Vtubers of 2022 here! 10. Tarik When tarik stepped away from professional CS:GO to focus on streaming, he took on the mammoth task that most former pros have failed – to grow as a streamer outside of playing professionally. Not only has tarik succeeded, he has done much better than any before him, except for shroud. He was the 10th most-watched streamer on Twitch this year, and has become the go-to co-stream for professional Valorant – often pulling more viewers than the main broadcast. 9. Nadia In January, Nadia averaged 118 viewers on her streams. In November, she averaged almost 6,000. It is one of the most remarkable and rapid rises in Twitch history, and, it has been achieved in spite of, or even thanks to, a tsunami of hate directed toward her. Many in the Warzone community have labeled her a cheater despite there being no evidence to support the claim. Instead, viewers have just been latching on to any “suspicious” clips they could find to support their convictions. But rather than trying to fight it, Nadia embraced it, and despite never being in the spotlight before summer 2022, has handled it like a streaming veteran. 8. Ibai Ibai is probably as close to a bona fide mainstream celebrity as a streamer gets, post-Ninja. Now an icon not only in Spain but around the world, his streaming rise has him rubbing shoulders with the likes of Messi. In 2022, Ibai held massive events, breaking the Twitch peak viewership record with his La Velada Del Año II event, reaching over 3.3 million viewers. Also now running his own esports org, KOI, 2023 could be an even bigger year for the Spaniard. 7. QTCinderella Just like many others on this list, QTCinderella is a doer. Much more than just streaming, she has pioneered and run a number of events that are set to be staples in the space. From the Streamer Awards to Sh*tcamp (drama notwithstanding), QT made it clear this year that much like her partner Ludwig, she wants to help push the envelope in the streaming world. 6. CDawgVA In terms of remarkable achievements this year in streaming, CDawgVA can throw down with the best of them, as he completed his 500 mile bike ride across Japan in the name of charity. Already well-known in the anime community, CDawg’s content reached an even broader audience thanks to this long charity stream. In total, he raised $316,000 for an immune deficiency foundation, 5. iShowSpeed To get the obvious out of the way, iShowSpeed has been involved in a lot of controversy this year. From a viral sexist clip to accusations of racism, he has faced backlash over a number of issues. But, Speed has also risen to be by far the most popular YouTube streamer, possibly the biggest streamer on any platform and has done so at age 17. His streaming exploits have seen him travel the world, attend the World Cup, feature on Sky TV in the UK, steal the show at the Sidemen Charity Event, and just become an internet sensation. Love him or hate him, iShowSpeed is here to stay. 4. Ludwig Moving to YouTube at the end of 2021 was a bold move for Ludwig. He was just about becoming the new face of Twitch after his subathon exploits and had the world at his feet. But, it’s now clear that his ambitions with YouTube made a lot of sense. Eventually, Ludwig plans to cut down on streaming, and is putting a lot of his time and energy into his production skills, such as xQc’s game show. In 2022, Ludwig has made a lot of progress on his goals to expand the streaming landscape far beyond chatting in his bedroom. 3. xQc While it’s true that xQc didn’t have an exceptional year by his standards, what is exceptional is how long he has maintained his spot as the most-watched streamer on Twitch. Streaming is typically cyclical, with new names overtaking the old ones every couple of years. xQc’s undeniably entertaining personality continues to ensure he is always at the nucleus of any conversation in streaming. In 2022, he maintained his position at the top of Twitch, with over 230 million hours watched – almost 70 million more than second-placed Gaules. 2. DylanburnsTV Dylan Burns may not have the viewership numbers to compete with others on this list, but it’s also important to recognize those streamers who have made a profound contribution to streaming, and none more so than this channel. Burns has spent much of his streaming hours this year on the ground in Ukraine, getting first hand knowledge of the situation there following Russia’s invasion in February. This has included interviews with citizens there, sharing their stories of how war is affecting their lives. Much of it is a first for Twitch, and shows what is possible for streaming in war time. 1. Kai Cenat Topping the list of the best streamers of 2022 is none other than Kai Cenat. In his breakout year, he become the most-subscribed to channel on Twitch, in spite of what he believes was a lack of acknowledgment from the platform itself. His streams have featured countless celebrities making guest appearances, and many memorable moments. He has dealt with the downsides of being a big streamer too, such as swatting and even racism. Regardless, 2022 has been Kai’s year, and he will be hoping to carry this momentum into 2023.

  • Best shroud highlights of 2019 prove why he’s the human aimbot – Dexerto

Best shroud highlights of 2019 prove why he’s the human aimbot Popular streamer Michael ‘shroud’ Grzesiek demonstrated exactly why he is called the ‘human aimbot’ after releasing a yearly highlight video for 2019. Header image via SamJonesArt Shroud has possibly had his best year of streaming yet in 2019, picking up awards for his content creation and announcing a huge deal with Twitch’s rival platform, Mixer. The former CS:GO professional is known for his incredible level of mechanical skill in almost any game he tries, particularly shooters, and in a video recapping some of his yearly highlights, he proved to fans why he’s among the best to do it. Although shroud has been spending a lot of time on Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Escape from Tarkov in recent months, the video also highlights some of his best plays on games he was dominating earlier in the year, such as PUBG and Apex Legends. The compilation is filled with many of the streamer’s best moments, including the ridiculous 1v3 clutch that he pulled off in the Call of Duty CODE Bowl charity event. However, it also captured many of the Mixer star’s hilarious fails throughout the year, such as his best GTA V highlights and crashes during his time on the game. But, for the most part, the yearly recap was filled with insane squad wipes and quick flicks, proving that shroud is truly worthy of the ‘Human Aimbot’ moniker. Another moment, that caught a lot of attention online, captured in the video, was shroud’s reaction to the series of earthquakes that Los Angeles experienced on July 6, While shroud has had a successful year broadcasting to his fans, the streamer revealed that his transition to Mixer has cost him some viewership, explaining that some of his fans still do not realize he has switched platforms. Regardless of his choice of streaming platform, shroud has continued to prove his dominance in-game throughout the year and will likely look to do the same in 2020. He placed 3rd on our best streamers of the decade list, and could be working his way up to number one in the decade to come.

  • Best sea shanty TikToks: the unexpected viral music trend – Dexerto

Best sea shanty TikToks: the unexpected viral music trend TikTok: nathanevanss / strong_promisesThe last thing people expected to go viral at the start of the year was sea shanties, a form of traditional work songs, but the viral trend has spread to For You Pages across the world. Here are some of the best. ‘Sea Shanty TikTok’ became a trend after 26-year-old postman Nathan Evans uploaded a video to TikTok that saw him singing a sea shanty called ‘Soon May the Wellerman Come,’ which unexpectedly took off in popularity. Captivated by the song, thousands of people went on to duet it, building it with various vocal lines and instruments to make a full-blown chorus fit for a real ship. It became so popular that even Elon Musk started tweeting about it. https://twitter.com/elonmusk/status/1349466269121179653 A sea shanty refers to a type of traditional song sung by sailors aboard merchant’s vessels, accompanying rhythmic labor to help keep the focus of the crew. Read More: TikToker Cam Casey made $2.7m in 4 weeks – While it doesn’t seem like a hit that would normally take off on TikTok, this song has flipped expectations on its head and proven that there’s a place for just about everything on the app. Nathan’s original video has now been made into duets, remixes, and memes – here are some of the best. Musicians add their touch While Nathan’s original cover was popular enough on its own, many musically inclined TikTokers decided to add their spin on it and introduce different vocal lines, and this introduction seemed to be a huge hit among fans. Soon May the Wellerman Come: the remix This user remixed the shanty onto a bass-heavy track, with people loving the modern take on the traditional song. One for the driving playlist One video that went viral saw user strong_promises in the car with his brother, who was singing along to a shanty. While at first, he looked a little confused, he soon joined in enthusiastically with his brother, showing just how catchy the tune is. Every song can be a sea shanty Several users figured out that with the right adjustments any song can be made into a sea shanty-style track, which Hunter Evenson proved by turning Smash Mouth’s All Star into a traditional-sounding hit. https://www.tiktok.com/@hunterevenson16/video/6913238125158452486?_d=secCgYIASAHKAESMgowSQqKignba07zTLHCDYAV77sHysLCzBQLgTHqVWOlVU0NiH3WVmYNUX6lDzEFyZlGgA&language=en&preview_pb=0&sec_user_id=MS4wLjABAAAAnEzepZPJq-vfa8DXK6LYJXEVhws-eZKfq-nQ2ZXRSHL6ZW_SerPhZbNl0SbysPuk&share_item_id=6913238125158452486&share_link_id=A3759042-E65F-4ED4-A157-CFABB32D5CEE×tamp=1610723357&tt_from=copy&u_code=d33l8bc591jd18&user_id=6621960276778024965&utm_campaign=client_share&utm_medium=ios&utm_source=copy&source=h5_m&sender_device=pc&sender_web_id=6853094046220240389&is_from_webapp=v2 Viral memes combined An image of four men posing for a picture has been made into countless memes recently, and they found themselves becoming part of the sea shanty trend as well when they were animated to look like they were singing the iconic song (even getting praised by one of the guys from the picture.) This viral trend has spread further than could have been predicted, and countless videos have been made that are inspired by the catchy sea shanties. And TikTok users are by no means done joining in with the sailor-themed fun.

Best roasts from ChatGPT mocking users’ Instagram feeds Unsplash.com: Andy Watkins / Pexels.com: Alex KnightUsers across the net are flocking to ChatGPT to make the AI roast their Instagram feeds… and some of the chatbot’s roasts are unbelievably savage. Instagram is all about showing off snapshots of your life. From selfies to group photos and even reels of a night out on the town, Instagram is one of the top social media platforms when it comes to showcasing your best side. However, the platform is now being used as a means to get brutally roasted by one of the net’s most prominent chatbots, ChatGPT. In the latest trend sweeping the internet, Instagram users are taking to ChatGPT in droves to make the AI pour over their photos and hand them a verbal brutalization based on what it sees. Some of these roasts are so savage that we just had to compile them into a list of the best ones, and it’s safe to say we’ve learned that ChatGPT is capable of some eye-popping insults. “Your head is the only part of your body that ever feels the need for a wardrobe change” “Your feed is like a bad breakup between Tumblr and Instagram” “Your Instagram is like a bizarre mashup of Animal Planet and a vanity mirror” “Your feed is an endless cycle of moody filters that scream, ‘I’m deep, really’” “Soviet propaganda met a Renaissance faire & decided to throw a vintage fashion show” ChatGPT roasts Pokimane’s Instagram feed Even top influencers are jumping in on the trend, such as Twitch streamer Pokimane, who ChatGPT says “struts through the virtual world” like it’s her “personal runway.” “And those giveaways? A clever ploy to keep your followers hooked, like moths to your glittering flame. But hey, at least you’re generous with your digital love, even if it’s just to boost those engagement stats.” It’s clear that ChatGPT wasn’t playing around with Pokimane, but she took the roasting in good humor. • Best of TikTok’s viral pumpkin designs trend: Among Us, Pokemon, WAP – Dexerto

Best of TikTok’s viral pumpkin designs trend: Among Us, Pokemon, WAP TikTok: jacibutler / squishyvangoghIt’s the spookiest time of the year, and many creatively inclined TikTok users have been in their element, producing some fantastic pumpkin designs inspired by a huge range of different sources. Here’s some of the best, just in time for Halloween. Video sharing app TikTok has become a hub for explosive trends, and Halloween inspired videos have been popping up left, right, and center. People have already been getting in the Halloween spirit by participating in the hugely popular Tim Burton challenge. The trend sees TikTok users utilize the blue line filter, a filter that allows you to freeze the screen as a line passes by, to see what they would look like as a character in a creepy Tim Burton film. But not every trend needs a filter to get popular, and as October has swung around, people have been sharpening their carving tools and getting to work on some fantastic pumpkin designs, many going viral on the app. Between last Halloween and this one, countless new trends and pop culture hits have surfaced, and just about all of them have made their way onto a pumpkin. Here are some of our favorites. Gaming pumpkin designs Naturally, one of the biggest gaming sensations of 2020, Among Us, has served as a great inspiration for designs this year, and the simplistic nature of the sprites make it a perfect candidate for a pumpkin. That along with some other classic gaming favorites have garnered popularity on the app. Among Us Pokemon TikTok inspired pumpkin designs Some users have been inspired by the app itself, recreating some TikTok branded Halloween gear, along with taking notes from one of the biggest trends of the year, the WAP dance, which stars like Addison Rae went viral for. TikTok logo WAP dance Movie pumpkin designs Many have tried their hand at some intricate movie-related designs, but ‘noordinarypumpkin’ has lived up to his username with a stunning carving of the Nightmare Before Christmas. Additionally, former NASA engineer Mark Rober went viral with his video of NASA’s pumpkin carving contest, featuring hilariously over-engineered pumpkins. This included a green-colored Mike Wazowski from Monsters, Inc. with a moving eyeball – if you felt like being ambitious this year. The Nightmare Before Christmas Monsters, Inc. Viral pumpkin hits Some of the most viral videos have been spins on the standard smiley face design seen each year, with designs for every skill level. One user got creative with a piece of string, and another got over one million views for his simple but effective approach. Using string Tiny face And with time still left before Halloween there’s no doubt that the pumpkin fun is only just beginning, with plenty more brilliant designs left to pop up before the big night.

  • Best of TikTok’s viral ‘Oh No’ trend – Dexerto

Best of TikTok’s viral ‘Oh No’ trend TikTok: pierreclerte0 / breelynn14TikTok users have been sharing videos of their most hilarious accidents, using the song Oh No by Capone and a well-timed zoom in effect to capture the tense moments right before a colossal fail. Here’s the best of the viral trend. It seems like every week there’s a new viral trend or challenge cropping up on TikTok, and each one somehow manages to be more hilarious than the last. Any song has the potential to become a viral TikTok sound, and when something starts catching on, everyone wants a piece of the new fad. In November, user jayrscottyy posted his “I ain’t never seen two pretty best friends” video, and the TikTok unexpectedly became a meme, appearing in just about every comment section on the app, and as surprise twists in plenty of viral videos too. This time around, the song Oh No by Capone is in the spotlight, thanks to its unintentionally hilarious bridge in which the words “oh no” are repeated to a background of silence, and well-timed strong beats. People are sharing their biggest fails People have been digging up videos of their most embarrassing fails, falls, and near-miss accidents and pairing it up with the song. They play the video along with the track, and just as something is about to go wrong, the frame freezes to the beat of the first ‘oh no.’ The trend often sees people begging the creators to see the original video in full, as part of the trend is to cut the video before the accident actually happens, leaving people imagining all the hilarious possibilities of the wild slip-ups. Here are some of the funniest. Painful twists As people embark on capturing cool tricks on camera to go viral on TikTok, they end up going viral through another route when their stunts don’t quite go according to plan, resulting in some painful-looking mishaps. Furry friends Nothing is more unpredictable than animals, they have come out in full force for this trend, getting into their own accidents, and causing some difficulties for nearby humans. Classroom antics Everyone has felt the temptation to run across a line of empty school desks, but some students were left reeling when they lost their footing, the video finishing just before the inevitably painful outcome. Among Us It wouldn’t be a viral trend if hugely popular social deduction game Among Us didn’t make an appearance, with players sharing their biggest imposter fails, and putting some brilliant spins on the ‘oh no’ trend. This trend has certainly given many TikTok users a laugh in these bizarre times, and hopefully people will continue to dig through their old videos to find the most colossal fails to pair with this well-matched viral sound.

  • Best of the hilarious Pope meme taking over Twitter – Dexerto

Best of the hilarious Pope meme taking over Twitter Twitter: flitzpiepe0815Twitter is never far from its next brilliant trend, and this time people have been editing increasingly bizarre objects onto one particular picture of Pope Francis. Here are the best ones out there for your enjoyment. His Holiness Pope Francis, who is actually fairly active on Twitter himself, has featured in plenty popular memes over the years. Back in 2017, he had the internet in stitches with an incredibly awkward picture alongside the US President, looking thoroughly unimpressed. The picture quickly gained traction and spread through the internet like wildfire, as people came up with every meme in the book to laugh about the bizarre image. While the Pope has appeared in several ‘memeable’ photos since then, none have gone quite so viral as one particular image that sees him raising his arms up, holding the Eucharist. And of course, the internet took that inch and ran a marathon. People have been editing every object imaginable into the hands of the religious leader, from TV and movie characters, food, retro items, and even the Pope himself. Here are the best of the bunch: Gaming People wasted no time incorporating their favorite video games into the bizarre meme, and just about everything you can imaging made an appearance. Images see him holding an N64 controller, another a phone running Runescape. One talented artist Trickster even recreated a sonic version of the image in pixel art form. So I found the original image used in that Pope meme, and — unsurprisingly — he’s holding the most holy item of all in it. #N64 pic.twitter.com/sqVqQkZ63h — N64 Today (@N64Today) October 17, 2020 https://twitter.com/Trickster____/status/1317573707775225858 TV and Film The potential for TV shows and movies to be combined with this meme are practically endless, but Twitter users were straight there with most iconic scenes around. Of course, the beloved Baby Yoda had to make an appearance, along with a brilliant recreation of Spiderman’s iconic kiss scene, among others. October 30th. • Best nominees for Didn’t Happen of the Year Awards 2019 – Dexerto

Best nominees for Didn’t Happen of the Year Awards 2019 The awards dedicated to celebrating the biggest liars on social media is back for its 2019 edition, as Didn’t Happen of the Year Awards (DHOTYA) step up their game to the next level. Now the fourth annual running of the awards, the viral Twitter account @_DHOTYA has taken social media by storm once again, and even has Premier League football teams getting involved. The awards are very much what they say on the tin: Social media posts that spin tales that almost certainly “didn’t happen” are picked out and pitted against each other in a fan vote, to decide the best ‘didn’t happen’ incident of the year. If you’re confused, by way of example the 2018 winner was this classic tale of a person walking into a “supermarche”. Voters picked this very-unbelievable story as the most ‘didn’t happen’ of all. #DHOTYA2018 WINNER After 12 months of searching through the lies, planning, preparing and running the biggest Twitter event of 2018, you have voted for your winner. “Supermarche” becomes our first ‘Anon’ winner as her celebration picture shows, having won 59% of the final vote. pic.twitter.com/2bqJ9mMBi5 — Didn’t Happen of the Year Awards (@_DHOTYA) December 30, 2018 For 2019, there is wide pool of potential winners to choose from; everything from Theresa May’s claim that Brexit would happen in March, to Rebekah Vardy’s claim that she was hacked after being accused of leaking Coleen Rooney’s Instagram stories to the press. Some of the ‘trademarks’ of a classic ‘Didn’t Happen’ are easy to spot. Typically young children having an intellectual moment on politics, a perfect “I got the last laugh” story, or even just an obvious joke that the person tries to pull of as actually having occurred in the real world. We’ve picked some of our personal favorites for this year. £4.40 toastie by George Benson This is just the perfect example of a ‘last laugh’ story that almost definitely did not happen. YouTuber George Benson claims he was the third victim of a bizarre toastie seller, who was fired on the spot after trying to charge an extra pound for no reason whatsoever. “Clapping” by Ciara Another surefire way to spot a didn’t happen is spontaneous public clapping. Often a social media liar will claim to have done something so virtuous in public that the entire area around them simply erupted into applause – and a discount on food isn’t bad either. “Mouth of babes” by Louise Perhaps the most iconic ‘Didn’t Happens’ though, are those that feature toddlers somehow grasping the intricacies of world politics. This young girl, only six-years-young, apparently has her very own thoughts on British Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s treatment of the homeless. These are just some of our favorites however, and chances are none of these come out on top when all the votes are counted, with 32 contenders overall. It’s more than just harmless fun too, as the organizers are also leveraging voters to help out with a good cause. In 2018, fans of the page helped to raise over £5,000 for homeless charity shelter, and this year the cause is children with cancer. Whilst you’re here, you might remember during the 2018 awards when you all raised over £5k for the homeless? This year, a dad from Coventry (Matt) is raiding money for Children With Cancer after his young son Eric was diagnosed – see below ??https://t.co/XetGNgPiPy — Didn’t Happen of the Year Awards (@_DHOTYA) November 21, 2019 In total, there are eight groups, with four entries each, all selected from the best ‘Didn’t Happens’ of 2019. • Best New World streamers to watch on Twitch – Dexerto

Best New World streamers to watch on Twitch Twitch/AmazonNow that Amazon Game Studio’s latest release, New World, has been out for a few weeks, there are plenty of streamers who have been broadcasting the game over on Twitch. Here are five of the best New World streamers to keep an eye on. Amazon Game Studio’s released their second game (and first MMO) into the wild on September 28, 2021. Since then, it’s taken Twitch by storm. Peaking at over 950,000 viewers on launch day, it started out on the top of the streaming platform’s categories. Since then, it’s maintained over 100k peak viewers, with the exception being the day hundreds of players were accidentally banned. Thanks to this, the game has maintained a top 10 position in all the game categories offered by Twitch. Considering its popularity, there are hundreds of streamers showcasing the game, and we’re here to show you five of the best. Best New World Streamers to watch FENGRUSH With over 112k followers, Fengrush has streamed the game almost daily since its release. The creator also uploads New World videos on his YouTube channel. You can check out his schedule on his channel. actionjaxon Actionjaxon offers squad mode, allowing you to watch who he’s playing with as well — all on the same screen. This allows a more interactive stream for over 152k followers. Self-proclaiming to be “bad at video games,” his channel description mentions: “Let’s make a community and be pretty ok at video games together” CDNThe3rd With a massive 2m followers, CDN offers New World streams as well as a variety of other games like Hunt Showdown and Hot Wheels Unleashed. CDN is also the only creator listed that does not use a webcam during his gameplay. Sacriel Consistently sitting towards the top of the category with almost 700k followers, Sacriel offers New World streams as well as a variety of others to enjoy. Sacriel often teams up with fellow streamers Shroud, Just9n, and iiTzTimmy on other games like Back 4 Blood. YoDa Almost exclusively speaking Portuguese, it’s hard to not include YoDa in this list with his massive 2.1m followers and 7k viewers at the time of writing. Besides New World, he also streams games like League of Legends and Valorant. It appears that Amazon has a hit on their hands, and there’s a very good chance we’ll see some of these creators stream the MMO for a long time to come. This comes as good news to the companies game studio, which eventually cancelled the development of its first release after moving it back to closed beta due to poor beta reviews.

  • Best music released by TikTokers this month (July 2022) – Dexerto

Best music released by TikTokers this month (July 2022) TikTok/Pexels: vladbagacianHere’s our list of some of the best music released by TikTokers in July 2022, as well as a peek at how these creators used the platform to promote their songs. Over the last few years, artists from all over the world have used TikTok as a way to promote their music. Sometimes this even helps them score major record deals, and can even open them up to other opportunities. Artists like Lil Nas X, Olivia Rodrigo, and GAYLE are prime examples of musicians using the platform to grow their careers. Here’s our list of some of the best music we’ve found over the month of July, released by artists using the platform to its full potential. Loveless – Running Up That Hill (A Deal with God) Kate Bush’s 1985 release ‘Running Up That Hill’ resurfaced after the release of Stranger Things season 4, racking up over 137 million streams on Spotify alone in the days following. Loveless — a pop-punk duo consisting of Julian Comeau and Dylan Tirapelli-Jamil — took the viral song and gave it a twist of their own, amassing over 15 million views on their original TikTok upload before they fully released the track on July 13, 2022. (Click here if TikTok doesn’t load) Loveless isn’t actually a cover band, and has plenty of original songs available to listen to that are just as good (if not better than) this cover. Occasionally, however, Julian will post a clip of a song on TikTok that fans just can’t enough of. Naethan Apollo – Hello World Naethan Apollo’s release for July isn’t just a single song. Instead, it’s his debut album, which is full of hits he’s created over the last couple of years. Known for making “goofy love songs,” Apollo has gained mass appeal on TikTok thanks to the fact his songs are gender-neutral and inclusive to everybody. To accomplish such a feat, he uses they/them pronouns in all of his songs. Naethan’s song ‘Person In The Mirror’ became a viral trend earlier in 2022, with creators doing a mirror transition to show how they can feel both handsome and pretty. (Click here if TikTok doesn’t load) Other popular songs from his debut album are ‘To you, from me’ and ‘Lemon Lime Lips.’ Jax – Victoria’s Secret Although it was technically released on June 30 according to a video uploaded by Jax, the lyric video for the song was uploaded on July 6, 2022, so we’re counting it for this month. The American Idol finalist wrote ‘Victoria’s Secret’ for a kid named Chelsea who she babysits, after other kids her age called her ‘fat’ while trying on a bathing suit at the store. It quickly went viral as the announcement video amassed over 35 million views, and then again on July 27 when Jax uploaded a video showing the flash mob that she organized in front of a Victoria’s Secret store. (Click here if TikTok doesn’t load) Russ feat. Ed Sheeran – Are You Entertained Yet another example of a musician succeeding at using TikTok to promote their music is Russ, who has managed to stay an independent artist while collaborating with big names. In a video on July 15, Russ revealed his upcoming song with award-winning musician Ed Sheeran that was released just a week later on July 22. (Click here if TikTok doesn’t load) These are some of the best songs released by musicians on TikTok over the last month. Check back at the end of August for an updated list of new releases. In the meantime, you can head over to our TikTok hub to learn about viral trends and other stories.

  • Best moments as Kai Cenat & IShowSpeed finally beat Chained Together – Dexerto

Best moments as Kai Cenat & IShowSpeed finally beat Chained Together Kai Cenat/IShowSpeedKai Cenat literally chained himself up with IShowSpeed, as the duo beat the platformer game Chained Together on a live stream in under 12 hours. The stream was full of failed attempts, explosions of rage, and more. Kai and Speed currently boast two of the most buzzing communities in streaming, and after they both wrapped up their planned content for the week, they met on July 21 to tackle ‘Chained Together’. The game has tested the patience of players worldwide, tasking duos to avoid all obstacles and reach the summit, while being chained at the hip. To up the stakes, Kai and Speed literally tied themselves together with a chain that ran between two floors and was attached to a waist belt. The stream lasted for just over 12 hours, and they managed to beat the game in the end – but not before lots of raging, trolling one another, hilarious failed attempts, and much more. Speed and Kai yank each other’s chains Kai and Speed were seated on different floors in the same hall, connected by the chain running through a staircase. While they were full of confidence at the beginning, within an hour, they hit their first breaking point as they attempted to clear the driving level. As Kai was driving the car, he was thrown off the platform by a rotating fan, sending them right back to the bottom again. However, while still falling, they could’ve saved themselves by hanging on to the floating rocks but Speed yanked the chain, ripping Kai out of his chair. Although before this event, Kai had pranked Speed and pulled his chain while Speed was drinking water. As a result, Speed fell down his chair and spilled water all over his brother Jamal who was seated right next to him. Speed also made Kai furious by telling him to press Alt+F4, claiming it would ‘save their progress’, but in reality, it just closes the game Throughout the livestream, both streamers continued to yank each other’s chains causing the other to fall out of their chair as they raged after failed attempts. Urinating in bottles because they’re “dedicated” During the agonizing stream, Kai and Speed were exhausted after several failed attempts, considering taking a break to eat and sleep. As they landed on the final biome and were left with the last 100 meters of the game, both had the urge to pee and wanted a break before they made the final climb. Instead, Speed convinced Cenat to urinate in plastic bottles rather than waste any precious time. Right around the 12-hour mark of the stream, they showed their filled bottles to the camera as Cenat exclaimed, “No we’re dedicated! We’re dedicated!” Finally unchained after 12 hours Despite the struggles, they demonstrated great teamwork throughout, eventually reaching the very top. To celebrate their victory, they hurried to unchain the real chains tied to them as they roamed free with their characters near the gates of heaven. Ending the stream, Kai and Speed showed each other some appreciation and thanked viewers who stayed throughout their grind to beat Chained Together. For those wanting to catch up on the full 12-hour and 30-minute stream, check out Kai Cenat’s Twitch video here.

  • Best memes from the viral Handforth parish council meeting – Dexerto

Best memes from the viral Handforth parish council meeting Handforth Parish CouncilIn a bizarre turn of events, a small English town’s parish council Zoom meeting is going insanely viral on the internet, after it descended into unexpected chaos – and people have wasted no time in making memes about the situation. While 2020 saw some strange and unexpected memes spring from nowhere and promptly go viral, nothing was quite as odd as the latest sensation to spread like wildfire across the internet. Handforth is a small town in England with a population of just 6,266 (as of the 2011 census,) and is very much the last place you’d expect a viral meme to emerge from. But that’s exactly what happened after the recording of their parish council meeting in December emerged online, and started to spread through the internet. It’s safe to say that this parish council meeting was no ordinary council meeting. It seems as though all the members were at odds with one another, with Brian Tolver telling Jackie Weaver that “you have no authority here,” leading to him getting kicked out of the meeting. The hilarious moments were plenty, leading people across the world to make their own memes of the bizarre situation, the Handforth parish council members becoming unexpectedly iconic overnight. One user even decided to make an alignment chart for every member of the meeting, another recreating the poor quality cameras with previously viral images of various different animals. now to send my handforth parish council png to key influencers pic.twitter.com/oDqU59svfl — cr (@kinghani) February 4, 2021 https://twitter.com/supernannyreact/status/1357663572055240707 The star of the meeting was undoubtedly Jackie Weaver, who many consider to be iconic after the events of the meeting. Fact-checking Twitter account FullFact even got involved by reaching out to find out whether Jackie really does have any authority on the Handforth Parish Council, after that became a topic of issue among the members in the Zoom call. One of the more notable castings is actor Charlie Day, famous for his role in the FX show It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, who will be voicing Luigi. The memes from It’s Always Sunny paired perfectly with the goofiness that brother Luigi always brings to the table, highlighting his fear of ghosts. Keegan Michael-Key as Toad A notable casting out of left field is Keegan Michael-Key, famous for his hit Comedy Central show Key & Peele. Keegan will be playing Toad, which instantly sparked fans to alter his performances in Key & Peele to better fit his new role. One Twitter user altered Keegan’s voice from his famous “Substitute Teacher” skit to have his voice sound more Toad-appropriate. Fans also wondered if Key is Toad, wouldn’t that make Jordan Peele Toadette? The fit seems quite natural in keeping the duo together. Seth Rogen as Donkey Kong One more casting that shocked the world was the inclusion of Seth Rogen as Donkey Kong. Rogen’s infectious stoner-laugh is sure to make an appearance in the film, and fans are already creating some magic with it. The unofficial Donkey Kong Twitter account was shocked at the announcement, flatly saying “what the f**k.” Although it’s a bit strange, the laugh actually could fit Donkey Kong, and hopefully can add some charm to his character. As shocking as the movie announcement was, fan’s hopes are high for a film with so many stars packed into it. Naturally, more of the cast is likely to be announced in the near future, too.

  • Best influencer Halloween costumes ft. PewDiePie, Valkyrae, Tfue & more – Dexerto

Best influencer Halloween costumes ft. PewDiePie, Valkyrae, Tfue & more IG: CouRageJD/ValkyraeHalloween in the streaming and gaming community means the same as it does everywhere else – crazy costumes and an evening of trick and treating fun. Here, we’re rounding up our favorites from a number of the biggest online entertainers. Despite the ongoing global health crisis throwing Halloween 2020 into chaos, the world’s largest online entertainers have proved themselves determined to not let the spookiest time of year go to waste. As such, they donned their costumes and enjoyed themselves as best they could. Who donned the best costume, though? Here, we’ve rounded up our favorites, but we’ll leave the gold medal decision up to you. CouRage First up is Jack ‘CouRage’ Dunlop who, alongside girlfriend Maddie McCarthy, donned an awesome Albert Einstein look. Maddie is there as Einstein’s sidekick, but the jewel of this look is CouRage’s hilariously bushy wig, eyebrows and mustache. In case you missed all the references to the German physicist, CouRage helpfully captioned his post “e=mc2”. PewDiePie Next up is YouTube King Felix ‘PewDiePie’ Kjellberg, who decided that a “very scuffed Polnareff” was to be his Halloween costume of choice. Polnareff is a core ally in Stardust Crusaders, part of the anime JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure. Pewds’ dog is even filling the role of Iggy, Polnareff’s infamous sidekick who sits on his companion’s shoulder. Valkyrae Third on our list is Valkyrae, who perfectly recreated Viper from Riot Games’ Valorant. The cosplay is so good that it has garnered nearly 90,000 likes as of the publication of this article, with the mask, gloves and utility belt all hitting the mark. Viper from Valorant this year😈 happy halloween! pic.twitter.com/3TNFiG1r1N— RAE (@Valkyrae) November 1, 2020 Censor Fourth is ex-CoD pro Doug ‘Censor’ Martin. He went as the infamous Jigsaw, complete with white face paint and spirals on his cheeks. We’re not sure how his girlfriend fits into the Saw narrative, but each to their own. https://twitter.com/Censor/status/1322739817285881856?s=20 Corinna Kopf While Censor is donning an infamous villain from a movie series, Corinna Kopf has channelled her inner fairy tale and gone for a Little Red Riding Hood look. There’s no wolf, but fans were still stunned at the quality of this look. Tfue Turner ‘Tfue’ Tenney took a leaf out of Censor’s book and copied a character out of film. However, Forrest Gump is certainly not a common entry come Halloween time, but Tfue’s hilarious wig and beard seemed to entertain his followers. Neekolul The penultimate entry on our list is neekolul, who donned an incredible Demon Slayer look for their Halloween festivities. Like Valkyrae’s Viper, it garnered significant attention on social media, sitting at just shy of 35,000 likes at the time of writing. Demon Slayer Neekolul at ur service 👹🔪 UwU pic.twitter.com/Yd9KeHov40 — neekolul •ᴗ• (@neekolul) November 1, 2020 Charli D’Amelio Our final finalist is Charli D’Amelio, whose dominance on TikTok translated into a hilarious Dunkin Donut outfit. Looking like a character straight out of The Simpsons, she donned the giant donut outfit in a comical TikTok uploaded on October 31. We’re not sure she’s taking it entirely seriously, but we love the look nonetheless. There you have it! Those are our favorite Halloween looks from the online gaming community. Who takes your first place, though?

Time is of the essence, and these influencers, artists, and creators didn’t waste a moment when it came to showcasing their costumes of choice. But who stood out among the crowd this year? To help you decide, we’ve put together some of our favorites. Dream & Sapnap Minecraft content creator Dream and collaborator Sapnap kicked off the celebrations with a bang. Blessing fans with the pleasant delights of a panda onesie and a classic bed-sheet ghost appearance, this was just a small taste, to begin with. While their Squid Game-inspired outfits might not fully capture the budget of Netflix’s smash hit show, the spirit of creativity is definitely alive, showing that you don’t need a lot to get heaps of fun from this Halloween. View this post on Instagram CouRage YouTube streaming star CouRage didn’t hit rock bottom with this awesome throwback to one of Dwayne Johnson’s freshest looks. Sporting some spicy 80’s drip, it’s all brought together by the essential element: the fanny pack. Useful in a pinch and able to store some spooky snacks, the 100 Thieves co-owner gets extra points for functionality. Lil Huddy One of the most influential TikTok users in the world, Cole Chase Hudson aka Lil Huddy wasn’t clowning around this year. Turning himself into the “Clown Prince of Gotham,” Lil Huddy’s Joker costume from The Dark Knight is a fantastic recreation of the late Heath Ledger’s aesthetic in the oscar-winning role. Lil Nas X Montero superstar Lil Nas X went hard this Halloween, bringing some excellent production value to not one but two costumes. With the Philosopher’s Stone turning 20 this year, it feels fitting to see the rapper transform into Voldermort himself. However, in a surprising move, Lil Nas X brought his fans back to a simpler time of nostalgia, by referencing Ned’s Declassified School Survival Guide. Jake Paul It wouldn’t be a true Jake Paul appearance if the YouTuber-turned-boxer didn’t spark some sort of controversy. Hitting back at UFC president Dana White following a verbal beatdown surrounding former fighter Claressa Shields, Paul decided to take aim at White directly with this daring re-creation of an iconic MMA photo. Those are just a few of our favorites this year, and if anymore blow our mind, we’ll be sure to give them a nod of appreciation.

  • Best influencer boxing moments of 2022: Jake Paul, Creator Clash, Chessboxing, more – Dexerto

Best influencer boxing moments of 2022: Jake Paul, Creator Clash, Chessboxing, more DexertoInfluencer boxing continues to reign as a hugely popular trend, with creators from all platforms itching to get inside the ring. This year, several jaw-dropping influencer boxing moments stole the show. Although names like Jake Paul and KSI might be synonymous with the sport, some of 2022’s best creator boxing moments didn’t involve long-awaited grudge matches or attempts at going pro. Events like Creator Clash and the Mogul Chessboxing Championship brought a breath of fresh air to the influencer boxing scene, alongside several unconventional matchups and a load of cash that was raised for charity. We’ve gathered some of the best influencer boxing moments of 2022 in a year jam-packed with big fights, unprecedented events, and even greater anticipation for the future. JustaMinx vs Yodeling Haley at Creator Clash 2022’s Creator Clash featured the first female match in influencer boxing history. iDubbz’s boxing event was the first of its kind, pitting together a slew of unconventional creators against each other in the boxing ring with the aim of raising money for charity. Twitch star JustaMinx notably faced off against TikToker Yodeling Haley in a fight that had everyone in the Yuengling Center on their feet. The two women were extremely scrappy and gave it their all throughout the bout, with JustaMinx ultimately taking the victory by TKO. Their match marked a major first for the world of influencer boxing and has since inspired many other female influencers to get into the ring — including Astrid Wett, who notably took part in one of KSI’s Misfits Boxing x DAZN events later in the year. KSI defeats Swarmz & Pineda in two fights, one night YouTube star KSI is officially back in the boxing ring after taking nearly two years off from fighting following his viral matches against Logan Paul. KSI’s first match of the year encountered some difficulties, at first; although he was initially slated to take on Alex Wassabi, but a purported sparring injury caused his opponent to back out. In the end, KSI ended up choosing British rapper Swarmz as his replacement — as well as take a second fight against Mexican pro boxer Luis Pineda. Although it wasn’t the first time a boxer had taken on two opponents in a single event, it was a first for influencer boxing, and one that KSI absolutely smashed. Taking two victories in one night, the British influencer is now looking forward to another bout against Dillon Danis in January 2023. Temperrr wins appeal against King Kenny FaZe Temperrr’s boxing match against King Kenny became a major point of contention among fans and resulted in a saga that’s still talked about months later. The issue began at Showstar’s UK vs USA boxing event in March, where the two influencers fought in the co-main event on the Deji vs Alex Wassabi card. Despite Temperrr appearing to have the upper hand on his opponent throughout their bout, judges awarded King Kenny the victory, sparking outrage online. Temperrr ended up filing an appeal to the commission to reverse their decision — and three days later, he won, officially taking the victory after days of confusion and derision rocked the influencer boxing scene. Andrea Botez goes the distance against Dina Belenkaya Ludwig’s highly-anticipated Mogul Chessboxing Championship married three different disciplines into two unconventional sports: Smashboxing and Chessboxing. On a card stacked with Smash pros and chess savants alike were Twitch star and chess pro Andrea Botez, alongside Woman Grandmaster Dina Belenkaya. This marked another major female influencer boxing match in the space — and one of the most hype fights of the evening. Their bout had everyone in the Galen Center on their feet as both fighters went all in during the boxing portion of their match. Despite Andrea’s best attempts, Belenkaya ended up taking the victory by checkmate — and although Botez hit back with some trash talk at the end, the two fighters made up backstage, making for yet another groundbreaking moment in the scene. iDubbz vs Doctor Mike at Creator Clash Creator Clash stands as one of the most successful influencer boxing events of the year, managing to raise over $1 million for charities like the American Heart Association, the Alzheimer’s Association of America, and Healing Horse Therapy Center. The main fight of the evening took place between YouTuber iDubbbz and doctor-turned-influencer Doctor Mike. Although both creators trained hard for the bout, Doctor Mike’s years of experience in combat sports paid off, as he ultimately won their bout by unanimous decision after trading blows with iDubbbz for five rounds. What makes their bout even more impressive is the fact that both fighters were under the impression they were only boxing for four three-minute rounds. However, the rules suddenly changed in middle of the bout, with both fighters ultimately going for five rounds. Although there was some controversy surrounding this moment, both YouTubers ended up duking it out for a good cause — and another Creator Clash event is on the horizon. Disguised Toast vs PointCrow at Mogul Chessboxing Perhaps one of the greatest influencer boxing moments of 2022 was the final match of the year between Twitch star Disguised Toast and YouTuber PointCrow. The two faced off in the main event of the night on Ludwig’s Mogul Chessboxing extravaganza, where both influencers displayed impressive tenacity and showed off their boxing training for an audience of thousands. Most surprising was Disguised Toast’s ferocity in the ring. The usually mild-mannered streamer went toe to toe with his opponent with no qualms, seamlessly transitioning from the chessboard to his boxing gloves. (Match begins at 4:11:00) That being said, PointCrow ended up taking the W in the end by checkmate (on top of giving his rival a concussion). Both influencers wowed the crowd, sending off 2022 with a bang that will be remembered for years to come. Jake Paul knocks down Anderson Silva Of course, we can’t mention influencer boxing and leave out Jake Paul. The youngest Paul brother has become one of the biggest faces in the scene thanks to his many fights over the past four years, having taken on former combat sports pros and top athletes, alike. Although Paul’s 2022 boxing career got off to a rough start (no thanks to Tommy Fury’s travel troubles), he scored one of the biggest influencer boxing matches yet – a fight with MMA legend Anderson Silva. This fight marked a huge step in Paul’s goals as a pro boxer and was the first influencer fight ‘The Spider’ had ever taken. In quite possibly the hardest fight of Jake’s life, both boxers went a full eight rounds, with Paul even knocking his opponent down on the canvas at one point. Although many fans pinned Silva as the favorite, Jake ended up winning their match by unanimous decision in a turn of events that not many saw coming. For now, it’s unclear who Jake’s next opponent will be – but if 2022 is anything to go by, it’s clear that both he and other influencers have big plans for the year ahead.

Fortunately, TikTok has its own tool that allows you to browse what’s trending on the platform in different countries, as well as the analytics for each tag, which may help give your posts a boost. You can also use sites like urlebird, that track new hashtags being used. How many hashtags should you use on TikTok? Due to the character limit for TikTok’s captions, you should bear that in mind when picking which hashtags to use, and how many. There’s no strict rule about how many hashtags you should use, but the general recommendation seems to be about five. You can always adjust your caption length to allow for more space too. The above suggestions are only some of the many thousands of hashtags you can find on TikTok, but as some of the most popular, they should help give your videos a good boost. Best chess streamers to watch on Twitch Twitch: GMHikaru, BotezLiveChess has become a rapidly rising phenomenon on Twitch, with the popularity of the centuries-old game reaching fever pitch in 2020 with multiple tournaments and, of course, The Queen’s Gambit on Netflix. Many new players have found themselves enjoying the game even if they’ve never played it before, and content creators have found themselves enjoying rising popularity on Twitch, YouTube and on other streaming platforms as viewers and top names come flocking in. We’ve seen major tournaments take place on Twitch, including the likes of the PogChamps tournaments that have featured the likes of Forsen, xQc, Cizzors and more alongside endemic chess streamers that are seeing their analytics go up consistently. So, who are the very best chess streamers that you should check out? Here, we’ve listed some of the most entertaining, skilful and educational channels you’ll find for the game to help you reach your Grandmaster dreams. GMHikaru Hikaru is the obvious choice, so is one we wanted to mention first. If you’ve been looking around for good chess content creators, the chances are you’ve already seen Hikaru Nakamura, as one of the best chess players not just on the internet but in the world, even giving the likes of Magnus Carlsen a run for his money. If you’re looking to learn from one of the best players in the world and see his thought process in action, as well as collabs with some of the biggest content creators, Hikaru is well worth checking out. GothamChess Levy Rozman, better known online as GothamChess, is one of the best educational chess streamers you can find out there. He’s always showing viewers different openings, offering tips to help learn and memorize certain moves and how to take advantage of opponent mistakes, meaning that his YouTube channel also has an extensive and impressive backlog of content for new players to learn from and give their chess journey a big jumpstart. GMNaroditsky If you’re looking for straight-up, top-tier chess action, Naroditsky is a very good streamer to tune in to. Regardless of what level you are, Grandmasters are who you should be looking to to find patterns and the best possible plays, and Naroditsky explains his choices and wins well, letting viewers know exactly what to expect throughout a match and always staying several steps ahead of his opponents. Botez Sisters The Botez Sisters, Alexandra and Andrea, have found a lot of success in 2020, with a rapidly-growing shared stream and being signed to esports organization Envy in December. If you’re looking for your chess with a more entertaining side, or maybe streamers that will dominate on the board before also playing a variety of other games, Dexerto Awards 2020 nominees the Botez Sisters are perfect for you. Chessbrah As Eric Hansen or the chessbrah host himself says, this channel likes to “push the boundaries of chess entertainment,” but that doesn’t mean he and his cohort are just entertaining streamers. In fact, Eric Hansen became Canada’s youngest ever chess Grandmaster in 2013 at the age of 21 and is unarguably one of the best chess players in the world, so while the actual streams might be a little more out there than the average chess stream, you know you’re getting some incredible lessons every time you tune in. As well as Eric, you’ll also find other Grandmasters such as Amad Hambleton on chessbrah. Anna_Chess Anna Rudolf is a Hungarian chess player holding the FIDE titles of International Master and Woman Grandmaster — and a fast-growing Twitch streamer, too. Averaging around 4,000 viewers per stream towards the end of 2020, Anna is one of the most viewed and fastest-growing channels in the genre, and her record and accolades speak for themselves as to why you should tune in to her content. Those are our picks for the top chess streamers you should check out in 2021. You can find them all on Twitch, as well as more focused content in their YouTube videos, and will not only help you learn the game but keep you entertained for hours on end. If you were inspired by Beth Harmon in 2020, these streamers are well worth taking a look at to help get your rating up, but is by no means an exhaustive list. Other creators such as Eric Rosen, Finegold, AnnaCramling and more are well worth looking at so you can find whose streams you really enjoy the most.

  • Best celebrities on TikTok you need to follow: Lizzo, Frankie Jonas & more – Dexerto

Best celebrities on TikTok you need to follow: Lizzo, Frankie Jonas & more Instagram: Avan Jogia/ Instagram: Franklin Jonas/ Instagram: Rebecca BlackEver since TikTok became the world’s fastest-growing app, mainstream celebrities have been flocking to the platform to try and jump on the bandwagon. Some have failed to understand TikTok etiquette, or only post clips from their shows or music videos. Some early adopters started off well, but quickly lost their momentum. Others, however, have impressively picked up on the niche references and trends that have become popular on the app, and have grown their accounts hugely as a result, almost rivaling the stars native to the platform. So, who are the celebrities who have hit the ground running on TikTok? Avan Jogia Known for his role as Beck on Nickelodeon’s Victorious, Avan Jogia was already well-known among much of the app’s clientele, but he’s proved that he’s more than just a heartthrob from a kid’s tv show. Avan regularly has witty interactions with fans in the comments, uses popular sounds like “How Bizarre,” and participates in popular trends, like using text-to-speech. His most popular TikTok to date has had more than 26 million views and he has 2.7 million followers. Frankie Jonas Otherwise known as the “Bonus Jonas,” Frankie blew up on TikTok after starting his account in October and now has more than 1.8 million followers and a total of 35.2 million likes on his account. One viral video of his, using the green screen effect, showed him admiring his fans for going into Nick Jonas’s TikTok and typing comments such as, “Omg you’re Frankie Jonas’ brother!” Of course, he was ecstatic to finally be in the spotlight after years of blending into the background as a Jonas brother, but not a band member. Even Nick Jonas himself hilariously duetted it, filming himself on the phone saying “Yeah, Kevin, Joe, forget what I said about letting Frankie in the band.” Charlie Puth Singer and musician Charlie Puth has racked up a huge 8.8 million followers by giving fans an insight into his music-making process, almost always resulting in ironic comments saying something like, “Wow this is great, you should really think about getting into music.” Alongside that, he frequently uses popular sounds and stitches his own witty additions to viral videos. Rebecca Black The teeny-bop singer/songwriter responsible for “Friday” has amassed almost 700,000 followers since joining TikTok in January 2020 and immediately drove engagement by making fun of her past and understanding popular trends, establishing herself as a creator rather than a former child star. In her second-ever post, she made fun of how often people ask her “What day is it?”, and in another video, she performed a ukulele version of the iconic hit single. Lizzo Singer Lizzo has a massive 12 million followers for her frequent duetting of fans, comedic lipsyncing, twerking, and body positivity videos. Her page is immediately on-brand too, with her bio quoting her iconic song lyric, “100% that b***h.” Lizzo has consistently taken part in trends as they happen. Her biggest video to date has 35 million views. Are there any other celebrities you think deserve a mention? Let us know on Twitter at @DexertoTrending.

  • Best Breakthrough Streamers of 2021: Top 5 Ranked – Dexerto

Best Breakthrough Streamers of 2021: Top 5 Ranked 2020 saw streaming hit fever pitch across Twitch, YouTube, and Facebook, and 2021 has only continued that incredible trajectory, with even more stars joining the ever-growing celebrity lists. As part of Dexerto’s Best of 2021 series, we’ve ranked the top five breakthrough streamers of the year. Let’s be honest, almost every gamer dreams of making it big on Twitch or YouTube, cracking the upper echelons and cementing their name in internet history. This year we saw a host of stars rise to join the streaming elite across all the biggest platforms, finding their own broadcasting niches — or even simply jumping on the existing trends — and running with them, raking in hundreds of thousands of brand-new fans and followers in the process. Streaming stardom is more than just a follower count though; we’ve taken into account every facet of each star’s rise, and where they’ve ended a rollercoaster 12 months on Twitch, YouTube, or elsewhere. Without further ado, this year’s best breakthrough streaming stars. 5 — Ranboo We may not know exactly what Ranboo looks like, or even his real name, but the masked Minecraft star certainly sent ripples and shockwaves through the streaming world in 2021 with his rise to the top. The 18-year-old has been a huge and hilarious presence on the famous Dream SMP Minecraft server since he was signed up as the gang’s thirteenth member, joining huge names like the titular Dream, as well as GeorgeNotFound, TommyInnit, and more. The San Francisco star may have had a leg up via the immense Minecraft fandom, but he’s already well and truly earned a streaming career that began soaring in late 2020. In a genius move, he earned his place in Dream SMP via a presidential campaign, controversially without a place on the server. After his bold declaration, Ph1LzA and Fundy raided his channel, and he eventually earned himself a direct invite — sans the L’Manberg presidency, we might add — from Dream. The server move immediately netted him one million YouTube subscribers, all eager Minecraft fans interested in the latest star addition. On Twitch, Ranboo — streaming under “RanbooLive” — recently cracked four million followers, and boasts a whopping 52,000 subscribers. The 18-year-old has spun out into more variety streams in the last few months too, to great success. While Minecraft remains key to his broadcasting arsenal, the ever rising-star dips his toes into Phasmophobia, Life is Strange, and even Just Chatting too. 4 — TinaKitten For Christina Kenyon, a “Simon Says” game in Among Us was the ticket to the big leagues, though it was mainly due to the fact she had a hilarious meltdown over it. The viral clip — and, of course, her ever-entertaining broadcasts — soon lead Kenyon to a spot among the legion of star 100 Thieves streamers, though she was the only one that got the whole org’s compound painted a bright pink to celebrate her signing. Among Us may have been a springboard for the Korean streamer, but TinaKitten, who broadcasts on Twitch, has more than earned her place in the halls of the top Amazon stars. This year saw her rocket from around 1.7k average viewers in her of her streams to over 14,000 each and every time. Among Us has stayed in her repertoire, of course, but the latest 100 Thieves signing also spends much of her broadcast time talking with her chat as well as painting and creating on-stream. Most recently, Tina joined the popular Dream SMP server in late October, and is one of 37 stars currently involved in the Minecraft world’s various hijinks. 3 — ZLaner Zack Lane enjoyed a huge 2021 after Dr Disrespect, then all but untouchable for other streamers after his permanent Twitch suspension, “gave the kid a chance” and teamed up with breakout the young Warzone streamer. The rest, as they say, is history. ZLaner hit a whopping 20,000 concurrent viewers on Facebook Gaming the day he streamed with the Doc, many of whom have stuck with the star to this day. The pair have become fast friends and regular tournament buddies, often diving into Warzone events as a fearsome twosome, or teaming up with TimTheTatman, CourageJD, and DrLupo. ZLaner’s rising star hit bright green in early November this year, when he was officially unveiled as the latest OpTic Gaming signing. The move, which org owner H3CZ described as a “perfect fit,” fired Lane from simmering superstar into top Warzone name alongside the biggest hitters like Aydan and Tommey. It wasn’t just his signing that has helped ZLaner along either though — the 23-year-old has golden thumbs when it comes to Call of Duty’s battle royale, a title he’s made more than $152,000 in prize money in since hitting the competitive circuit late last year. The big question hanging over ZLaner’s head now is where his future may lie. The star reportedly turned down a huge Twitch offer so he could keep streaming with Dr Disrespect in a hugely loyal move, leaving his options open heading into 2022. 2 — Kkatamina Kim ‘Kkatamina’ Mi-young has enjoyed a relatively rapid rise to Twitch fame, especially considering the 26-year-old barely streamed before October 2020. The star now carries the title of “the Twitch’s most subbed female streamer,” but back in early 2021 she was simply a friend of AriaSaki’s brought in to play games with the OfflineTV group. Since then, however, Kkatamina has ascended to a level of streaming fame usually reserved for only the most veteran of stars. She opened January 2021 with a 2.7k average in terms of concurrent viewers (already a strong start), and ended the calendar year with more than 12,000 every stream. Kim usually plays Valorant (318 hours on record) as well as Minecraft (152hrs) and Teamfight Tactics (82hrs), as well as hosting Just Chatting streams. Her name really hit the Twitch top lists in late November though, when she ran a record-breaking 14-day subathon that fired her into the upper echelons of all-time Twitch subscribers. As of publication, Kkatamina is tenth on the all-time list thanks to her 73k highwater mark, and a standout first in regards to female stars’ subscriber counts. 1 — Corpse Husband Who else but Twitch’s deep-voiced mystery? Corpse Husband is no stranger to immense internet fame and has been ever-popular on YouTube for some years, but 2021 was the first time the faceless star really leaned into his streaming career on Twitch with OfflineTV and friends. The Californian star, who also has a burgeoning music career, actually streams very infrequently. He originally decided against livestreaming due to his various health issues, but embraced the platform after suggestions from Valkyrae and Sykkuno. Incredibly, the deep-voiced personality has actually only streamed a handful of times on Twitch, but every time he does he hauls: Corpse boasts 1.69m total views on the streaming platform after just hours — 10.9 to be exact — broadcasting live. Corpse is often a guest on streams with his many friends, however, meaning that while his own channel sits dormant, he’s a regular across a plethora of broadcasts. His most common combos are Valkyrae, Sykkuno, Disguised Toast, and Pokimane, as well as YouTube kings Jacksepticeye and PewDiePie. The mysterious star streamed for four months on YouTube at the start of the year too, but more recently has stuck to Twitch for his rare live-stream broadcasts. Be on the lookout for more of Dexerto’s Best of 2021 rankings, including the five best streamers of the year and more, dropping throughout December.

  • Bert Kreischer says it’s “f**ked up” how popular Joe Rogan’s podcast has become – Dexerto

Bert Kreischer says it’s “f**ked up” how popular Joe Rogan’s podcast has become Joe Rogan/Bert KreischerComedian and 2 Bears 1 Cave podcast co-host Bert Kreischer explained how shocking it is that fellow comedian and podcaster Joe Rogan has grown to “f**ked up” levels of fame. Joe Rogan has become a household name across the globe over the last few years, in large part fueled by the success of his podcast The Joe Rogan Experience, as well as his involvement with the UFC in both podcasting and commentary. His massive popularity even landed him an exclusive contract with Spotify for over $200 million, where his show is continually the most listened to program on the platform. Bert Kreischer stunned by Joe Rogan’s popularity In an episode of Bert and Tom Segura’s show 2 Bears 1 Cave, Bert, long-time friend of Rogan, cracked up in laughter at just how popular he has become. Kreischer said, “Isn’t so weird how big he’s gotten? It’s so f**ked up!” Segura responded, “Every other day I open Twitter and it says ‘Trending: Joe Rogan’, and I’ll open it, and it’s just people talking about him.” Time starts at 8:00 for mobile users Tom went on to say that Rogan doesn’t care that people are constantly talking about him on social media, but Segura pointed out how bizarre it is to see social media users constantly talking about all of his minor opinions. As Rogan has elevated to insane levels of popularity, every word he says on his show has become dissected by people across the internet. Although Rogan himself doesn’t seem to mind this constant scrutiny, and often weaves it into subsequent episodes, when a take or clip from a previous show becomes a lightning rod for conversation.

  • Bert Kreischer reveals Joe Rogan’s insane generosity to friends – Dexerto

Bert Kreischer reveals Joe Rogan’s insane generosity to friends Facebook: Joe RoganPopular comedian Bert Kreischer has explained what it’s like to be good friends with Joe Rogan, revealing his insane generosity and ways in which he helps his friends. As the host of one of the most popular podcasts in the world and a mainstay of UFC pay-per-views, Joe Rogan is exposed to millions of people and, as such, has developed a cult following. However, fans of the former Fear Factor host don’t really get a glimpse into his everyday life or experience what it’s like to be able to call on him for help. Well, that’s where his pal Bert Kreischer comes in, as he lifted the lid on the pair’s long-standing friendship. The popular comedian appeared on The Pat McAfee Show to talk sports, his iconic ‘machine’ joke, and his friendship with Joe Rogan. During his portion on the UFC commentator, Kreischer opened up about what it’s like having him as a close friend – revealing that he’s really generous and does everything for everyone. “Joe is an amazing guy. He’s super generous. You’ve got to be careful what you say around him because if you say something like ‘yeah, I was looking at smokers the other day,’ the next day there is a smoker at your house,” Kreischer said. “It’s cool, but I have a hard time asking for things and you don’t even have to ask with him, he’ll just be like I have a guy, let me hook you up.” The Comedian even explained that he once talked about getting into running and ended up with a $5,000 fitness trainer at his home from Rogan because he thought that the treadmills being used weren’t “real running.” However, his friendship does come with the notion that people can use him to link up the podcast host. The Comedian noted that some people, even close friends, appear on his own podcast just so they can potentially meet Rogan. “They’ll do my podcast and at the end, they’re like ‘hey man, can you get me on Rogan’ and you’re like ugh, no I can’t,” he said. Those requests are, obviously, a small price to pay because of his friendship, but Kreischer probably isn’t going to buckle and be as generous as his close pal.

  • Bert Kreischer explains how Joe Rogan changed his life with early JRE podcast – Dexerto

Bert Kreischer explains how Joe Rogan changed his life with early JRE podcast YouTube: Pardon My Take/Joe RoganComedian Bert Kreischer has explained how Joe Rogan “changed his life” with an early episode of the JRE podcast that helped propel his stand-up career to new heights. If you’ve tuned into an episode of the Joe Rogan Experience podcast over the last few years, you’ve very likely encountered Bert Kreischer – either through him being a guest or Rogan talking about him. The stand-up comic has become a favorite of the internet over the years, and even hosts his own podcasts these days, following in the footsteps of his good friend. However, it wasn’t all plain sailing in his career. There was a point where things weren’t exactly going his way, but that all changed thanks to some help from Rogan, who managed to shine the spotlight on him just as the JRE podcast was taking off. Bert Kreischer explains how early JRE podcast changed his life Bert recounted how Rogan was a massive help in his career when he appeared on the Pardon My Take podcast to talk about his movie – The Machine – which stemmed from his now infamous joke. “I told it (on a podcast) and he said you need to tell this on stage. I was like oh no, no, no, I don’t do that. This isn’t for the stage, this is for us hanging and he was like ‘are you out of your f*cking mind?’” Bert said. “This man changed my life. Joe Rogan said on that podcast, ladies and gentlemen if you go to his show, yell out ‘The Machine’ until he tells it.” The comic added that Rogan then urged his fans to turn up to his shows, and they did, “in droves,” following Rogan’s request. Timestamp of 1:16:08 As noted, the joke – which stems from Bert earning the nickname of ‘The Machine’ from his time drinking with the Russian mafia during a school trip – has become one of the most recognizable parts of his routine. He’s had plenty of help from Rogan in the past, as he revealed a few years ago that the JRE host splashed out on $5,000 of fitness equipment for him.

  • Joe Rogan is misunderstood claim friends Bert Kreischer & Annie Lederman – Dexerto

Joe Rogan is misunderstood claim friends Bert Kreischer & Annie Lederman YouTube: Joe Rogan Experience / Instagram: bertkreischerComedians Bert Kreischer and Annie Lederman have shared their thoughts on why they believe people’s interpretations of popular podcaster Joe Rogan are often not representative of who he really is in real life. Joe Rogan is now massively popular, largely thanks to his long-running podcast the Joe Rogan Experience. It launched over a decade ago in 2009, and since then has accumulated almost 10 million subscribers and 2.6 billion views. While very popular, he has come under fire previously for hosting some polarizing guests, as well as various comments. With the recent announcement of the podcast’s move over to Spotify exclusively, many fans have accused the streaming service of censorship after several episodes of the JRE were missing from the full archives. With these contrasting accounts of Joe as both a victim and a perpetrator of controversy, it remains unclear to which of these accounts he best fits. In episode 433 of Bert Kreischner’s podcast, he along with Annie Lederman who have both previously been guests on the JRE and have a degree of friendship with him, spoke about why they feel that Joe is often misunderstood. “People’s interpretations of Rogan are very funny,” Annie began, “they’re just not ever correct. • Bernie Sanders accidentally walks into TikTok dance video – Dexerto

Bernie Sanders accidentally walks into TikTok dance video TIKTOK: taylorchampBernie Sanders looked bewildered after he accidentally stumbled into a TikTok dance video being filmed outside a hotel, and the internet is in love with it. The US senator has inspired yet another meme after a video captured him accidentally crashing into a dancer’s TikTok, filmed on the streets of New York City. In the viral clip, content creator Taylor Champ and a hotel doorman were seen waving their arms in the air. As they were grooving, Sanders walked straight in their direction, not realizing that he was being filmed. After he caught a glimpse of the dancing duo, Sanders paused with a confused look on his face before walking around them to avoid a collision. “Nailed it Bernie,” the TikToker captioned the five-second video, which went viral with 1.8 million views. TikTok users in the comments were amused by the Vermont senator’s deadpan expression in the clip. “POV: Bernie changing his mind about being for the young people,” one user quipped. “You got the side eye from Bernie and single-handedly made him change his mind on the youths,” another joked. “This needs the ‘Ariana, what are you doing here’ audio,” a top comment read. The young TikToker later revealed that she didn’t realize Sanders had walked right by her until she replayed the video. In a separate video, Champ showed that the politician’s wife, Jane Sanders, was there too. The social worker quickly apologized to the influencer after accidentally walking in front of the camera. Champ said she almost hit the US senator’s wife during the dance. “All I was thinking was wow, first time I try to make a TikTok out here and I almost hit this poor lady in the face,” she wrote in the caption. “I was just hoping she wasn’t mad but she was so sweet.”

  • Ben Shapiro explains why Twitter has been ruined on Logan Paul podcast – Dexerto

Ben Shapiro explains why Twitter has been ruined on Logan Paul podcast Impaulsive (YouTube)American commentator Ben Shapiro has revealed why he thinks social media giant Twitter has turned “toxic” in the 121st episode of Logan Paul’s ‘Impaulsive’ podcast. Shapiro has made a living sharing his opinions on a host of political and trending topics across his career, with many of his discussions taking place across major social media sites. On September 9, the American commentator guest-starred on Logan Paul’s long-running talk show Impaulsive, taking aim at Twitter and how it’s changed – for the worse – in recent years. “It’s a disaster, a disaster,” Shapiro said when asked if he thought social media as a platform for discourse was a problem. “I think it depends on the method of distribution, if you’re talking about somewhere like YouTube, that’s just a place where people are basically viewing content, in the comments section maybe you get a little bit of conversation, but not really. “Twitter is really bad, Twitter is a toxic place. It’s a place to dunk and be dunked upon. It is not a place where you’re going to get a long argument about nuance. That’s not what it’s for, it’s deliberately created for short attention spans in now less than 280 characters.” “I don’t have the ability to have a substantive discussion about the solutions to climate change with you in 280 characters,” he continued. “Instead, the tweets that get all the retweets and the incentive systems is the funnier you are, which very often coincides with the nastier you are, the more likes and retweets you get.” Shapiro told podcast co-hosts Logan Paul and Mike Majlak he believes there’s been a major “mood shift” on the social media platform in recent times, that has seen Twitter move away from “a chat room with your friends” to something a little more toxic. For mobile users, video segment starts at 15:03. “I disengaged in tremendous ways with Twitter, I used to think it was a lot more fun. Now it’s ‘You know what we’re going to do, we’re going to go through your entire history and dig up some dumbass thing you said ten years ago and take it out of context’. “That’s what happened to Kevin Hart, it’s happened to a bunch of people. It happened to Sarah Jeong at the New York Times, and it happened to James Gunn. It’s this constant attempt to destroy somebody with something they said.” Twitter was just one of many topics that Shapiro covered with the Impaulsive hosts earlier this week, but it seemed like one that he was very passionate about. As for Paul, his rematch showdown with KSI is looming ever closer. The fight’s undercard also just received a boost, with brother Jake Paul now confirmed to be touching gloves with American rapper Soulja Boy ahead of the main event.

  • Ben Shapiro could be down to host PewDiePie’s meme review videos – Dexerto

Ben Shapiro could be down to host PewDiePie’s meme review videos American conservative commentator, writer, and lawyer Ben Shapiro might actually be interested in collaborating with YouTube king Felix ‘PewDiePie’ Kjellberg. PewDiePie made the suggestion in a recent ‘meme review’ video, a series where the YouTuber reacts to the internet’s trending memes. In the video, Pewds reviewed two clips of Shapiro playing the violin – although he wasn’t quite sure why Shapiro was so popular as a meme. “Why is Ben Shapiro peak meme right now?” he asked. “Can someone explain this? Ben Shapiro! We need Ben Shapiro hosting the next meme review. That’s the only way.” Shapiro was made aware of his mention in the video by another Twitter user by the name of Keegen McCracken, who responded to one of Shapiro’s Tweets with a captioned image of the video. Read More: A new Vine app could be going live very soon – As it happens, Shapiro apparently feels that Pewd’s suggestion is pretty ‘epic.’ “Okay, this is epic,” he Tweeted in response to the image. PewDiePie himself responded to Shapiro’s comment in kind – although whether his response was in jest or in seriousness is unclear. “This is beyond epic,” he Tweeted, posting a screenshot of Shapiro’s comment below. While PewDiePie’s suggestion in the video was likely a joke, a legitimate collaboration between the two would certainly produce a slew of meme-worthy moments. Shapiro is known for his conservative political views, which have garnered him ample criticism across the internet. Although he was made fun of in PewDiePie’s video, he seems to be taking the joking in good spirits – or, should we say, ‘epically.’

  • Ben Shapiro actually reviewed memes for PewDiePie’s YouTube show – Dexerto

Ben Shapiro actually reviewed memes for PewDiePie’s YouTube show YouTube king Felix ‘PewDiePie’ Kjellberg and conservative commentator Ben Shapiro have finally collaborated in an ‘epic’ episode of Meme Review. Shapiro appeared in an extra segment of the show called ‘Bonus Meme.’ He admitted that Kjellberg had asked him to review a series of memes for his ‘Meme Review’ YouTube show, where he rates the internet’s latest and greatest jokes as taken from his subreddit. Shapiro was tasked to review memes about himself, which he appeared to take in good spirits. He even admitted that he ‘loves’ memes that poke fun at how he ‘destroys’ his liberal opponents, and showed off his thermal mug that read, ‘leftist tears.’ PewDiePie thanked Shapiro for his involvement with the series, which had been hinted at in a series of Twitter interactions between the two in early October. PewDiePie had jokingly mentioned in a previous meme review video that he needed Ben to host the next iteration of the show. “We need Ben Shapiro hosting the next meme review,” he joked. “That’s the only way.” One Twitter user screencapped and captioned this statement, making sure to tag Shapiro in their post. Shapiro responded to the possibility with his classic tagline, “Okay, this is epic.” PewDiePie then retweeted the image with the caption, “This is beyond epic.” It looks like PewDiePie’s joke has turned into a full-blown bonus segment, which Shapiro has already been Tweeting about.

  • Ben Askren shuts down rumors Jake Paul fight was “rigged” for him to lose – Dexerto

Ben Askren shuts down rumors Jake Paul fight was “rigged” for him to lose YouTube: ESPN MMAJust days removed from his first-round knockout to Jake Paul, Ben Askren has come forward and shut down speculation that the boxing event was rigged for him to lose. Askren’s first boxing fight didn’t quite go according to plan. A rapid first-round KO saw Paul advance to a 3-0 record with Askren forced back into retirement. While the PPV event generated tens of millions and drew interest from around the world, some viewers quickly ran away with an intriguing theory. Was the fight rigged all along? Footage soon emerged that showed Askren happily leaving the arena mere moments after the knockout. As a result, many began to speculate that he may have ‘taken a dive’ for a quick paycheck – a paycheck considerably larger than anything he ever took home in the UFC. Speaking with ESPN’s Ariel Helwani after the fact, Askren has now put a stop to this line of thinking. “It definitely didn’t happen,” he confirmed. “I got hit.” Despite the quick defeat, the former Olympian assured that ‘throwing the fight’ was never even considered. “I’m not destitute and poor. What do I gain by that? The answer is nothing, I think I would actually lose a lot. That’s not something that would ever cross my mind.” Having competed at the highest level of combat sports for more than a decade, Askren retired with an MMA record of 19-2. For viewers that questioned the legitimacy of his final bout with a YouTuber, he believes it’s only “human nature.” In the lead-up to the fight, and even in the locker room just minutes before, Askren was “pretty confident [he] was going to win.” Things ultimately didn’t play out in his favor but by no means was the event rigged. It all just came down to not “defending the overhand right,” according to Askren. “He’s got a good overhand right. I didn’t defend it well enough.” Throughout his entire MMA career, he “wanted” his opponents to throw that same strike in order to set up an “easy” takedown. It was “a hard habit to break” and that resulted in a first-round KO. The relevant topic begins at the 9:40 mark below. While it was a “highly embarrassing” result, Askren walks away with no regrets now that it’s all said and done. As for Paul, he’s still got a rich future ahead with countless social media stars calling him out to be next in line. There’s no telling who he might face next, but it’s sure to draw just as much interest coming off another flash KO.

  • Ben Askren roasts Jake Paul over bizarre open workout footage – Dexerto

Ben Askren roasts Jake Paul over bizarre open workout footage Instagram: benaskren/YouTube: Jake PaulMMA fighter Ben Askren has roasted Jake Paul’s bizarre open workout footage ahead of their highly-anticipated April 17 boxing match. In recent months, ever since the fight was first announced, there has been a tremendous amount of back and forth between Paul and Askren. It’s become one of the most talked-about sporting events of the year so far, with many big names hedging their bets on either fighter. Their March press conference even almost came to blows, with Paul shoving Askren, who had put his hand in the YouTuber’s face. Now, in their open workouts just a few days before the fight, Jake was found doing some rather unique stretching and yoga, rather than the traditional training many would expect. Not sure if you can consider this an open workout, but it’s what @JakePaul did before #TrillerFightClub on Saturday. pic.twitter.com/2KF9b9Jqn4 — Mike Bohn (@MikeBohn) April 14, 2021 Of course, as you would expect, many people online took this opportunity to mock Jake and make a meme of him — and few people were enjoying it as much as his upcoming opponent. Read More: Ben Askren admits he could lose to Jake Paul – After his own open workout, which was much more as expected, Ben Askren took to social media to laugh at Jake’s efforts. Firstly, he posted “leaked footage” of Jake’s training camp footage, which was really just a video of some very active couple’s yoga. https://twitter.com/Benaskren/status/1382473931769135104?s=20 That wasn’t all, though. Askren decided to have a bit more fun and use Jake’s yoga poses against him further. On his Instagram story, Ben posted an image of Jake’s body, twisted slightly into different shapes, spelling out the words “I SUCK.” Suffice to say, Askren found the footage just as funny as everyone else did, and he’ll be hoping that the fight itself bears a similar resemblance. Don’t forget to tune in on Saturday, April 17. It’s bound to be a very interesting fight.

  • Ben Askren on Jake Paul fight: Not teaching lesson because “he’s too stupid to learn” – Dexerto

Ben Askren on Jake Paul fight: Not teaching lesson because “he’s too stupid to learn” Instagram: Ben Askren / Jake PaulMMA fans want Ben Askren to teach Jake Paul a lesson when they lock horns next month, but he believes there’s nothing to teach him because he is an “idiot” who is “too stupid to learn anything.” Ben Askren and Jake Paul have been going at it ahead of their fight on April 17. They’re sending each other heated text messages and badmouthing each other in interviews. Jake even trolled Ben’s coach with a hilarious prank call. The bad blood isn’t slowing down. In a recent interview with MMA Junkie, Ben had nothing positive to say about Jake. He even threw his brother, Logan Paul, some shade. The first jab happened when Ben Askren confessed he doesn’t understand why Jake Paul is popular. “I don’t think there’s any good answer. They’re all like, ‘He does a lot of dumb things.’ Or, ‘He says crazy stuff.’ But it’s like, OK. So? So what,” he said. “People who I liked, I could name a reason why I liked that person. And with [Jake Paul and Logan Paul], that just doesn’t seem to be the case.” Despite the fact his fans want him to teach Jake a lesson in the fight, he believes there’s nothing to teach him. “This guy’s an idiot. What kind of lesson [could I possibly teach him]? He’s too stupid to learn anything.” Ben is the more experienced and decorated fighter by a long shot. His professional record is 19 wins and 2 losses. Before his disappointing stint in the UFC, he was the Undefeated ONE Welterweight World Champion. Before that, he was an Olympian wrestler. However, as Joe Rogan pointed out, he isn’t an “explosive” puncher, which could be his downfall against Jake. After all, it’s an exhibition boxing bout, not a wrestling or mixed-martial-arts match. So, will he give MMA fans what they want and knock some sense into the cocky ‘heel’ Jake has become? Or will he embarrass them and become Jake’s next victim? We’ll find out in a month.

  • Ben Askren explains why he “doesn’t regret” Jake Paul fight – Dexerto

Ben Askren explains why he “doesn’t regret” Jake Paul fight Instagram: benaskren/jakepaulOn Saturday, April 17, MMA star Ben Askren was knocked out in the first round in his fight against YouTuber Jake Paul — but insists he doesn’t regret the bout. The fight itself was one of the most highly-anticipated YouTube boxing events in history. Not only was Jake Paul taking on a legitimately decorated fighter to further his boxing career, but names such as Justin Bieber, Addison Rae, and Snoop Dogg were also in attendance. Many fans argued that the fight was rigged after it happened, something that Askren has vehemently denied. That doesn’t mean he regrets taking the fight, though, as he explained on Ariel Helwani’s MMA show. When discussing the fight with Helwani, Askren was asked whether he regrets the fight, giving a very clear response. “I didn’t give a sh*t,” the former UFC fighter said. “Monday after, I’m going to be doing podcasts and coaching wrestling. Win, lose or draw, there were no more fights for me. “The only reason I would not have taken the fight, actually happened. The ability to have an embarrassing moment. That’s a terrible reason not to do it, in my opinion.” Timestamp 1:56 Askren went on to say that he “was getting paid really well and thought it was a fun opportunity,” adding that it was “a fight that had little significance in my life.” Of course, Ben’s embarrassing moment came in the form of his premature knockout, but judging by this interview and the footage of him after the fight, he doesn’t seem particularly bothered. Askren reportedly received a $500,000 payout simply for stepping in the ring against Paul, not including any bonuses or PPV shares. Needless to say, it was probably a fight worth taking, win or lose.

  • Ben Askren expects Jake Paul fight to be “biggest payday” of his career – Dexerto

Ben Askren expects Jake Paul fight to be “biggest payday” of his career YouTube: BELOW THE BELT with Brendan SchaubWeeks out from his highly anticipated boxing match with social media star Jake Paul, former UFC contender Ben Askren has revealed the PPV clash will be his “biggest payday” as a mixed martial artist. Ben Askren has seen and done just about everything in the world of combat sports. As a former Olympic wrestler, MMA world champion, and UFC fighter, the retired 36-year-old has accomplished a great deal across a number of disciplines. Despite his accolades, however, Askren’s upcoming main event with Paul could be the most rewarding moment of his career. The April 17 PPV has already generated a ton of interest with the two constantly bickering online. Now, it appears the ‘FunkMaster’ has talked his way into an unprecedented paycheck. “It’s probably going to be the biggest payday of my career,” Askren revealed to Brendan Schaub on the latest episode of Food Truck Diaries. An exact figure was kept under wraps in the interview. Though Askren assured he’s in line to make more from this event than any of his previous fights. “I do have to have some type of monetary reward to take time out of my day to do this,” he said. “They made me a nice offer, it was something I wanted to do anyway, so I said sure.” Fighting three times in the UFC before retiring in 2019, Askren made a decent chunk of change for his efforts. His debut against Robbie Lawler raked in the most with a disclosed payout of $353,500. $200,000 to show, $150,000 for the win, and a bonus of $3,500 for fight week incentives such as press conferences, open workouts, and more. This is purely his public purse, other bonuses may have also been paid by the UFC without disclosure. Not having to train across all disciplines, not having to prepare for a former Welterweight champion like Lawler, Askren is now set to cash a bigger check for boxing Paul. Funnily enough, he doesn’t appear all too focused on the monetary gain. “Obviously you wouldn’t do it for a low amount, you’re not just going to do it for fun,” Schaub said. “I mean… maybe I would,” Askren replied with a straight face. Everyone from Snoop Dogg to Dana White has shown interest in the fight. With plenty of attention, it’s set to be one of the year’s biggest combat sports events. Win or lose on April 17, Askren is in store to make more than ever before.

  • Ben Askren claims Jake Paul knows “he doesn’t have a future in boxing” – Dexerto

Ben Askren claims Jake Paul knows “he doesn’t have a future in boxing” Instagram, @benaskren, @jakepaulAhead of their highly anticipated bout, Ben Askren and Jake Paul have shared some… fighting words. During a pre-fight press conference, Askren explained that the YouTuber must not have faith in the longevity of his boxing career. On April 17, celebrity YouTuber Jake Paul will box decorated MMA (mixed martial arts) champion Ben Askren as the headline match for Triller Fight Club. Before the highly anticipated showdown, we took part in a press conference during which each fighter answered questions about themselves and their opponent. This bout presents a first for both competitors. Paul, despite downing YouTuber AnEsonGib and NBA retiree Nate Robinson, has never officially boxed a professional from combat sports. Askren, meanwhile, is making his boxing debut — over a year after retiring from fighting. At 36 years old, Askren is much more experienced than the 24-year-old Paul and has a career marked by Olympic wrestling gold medals and a 19-2 record in the UFC. Upon hearing that Paul was interested in wrestling the former gold medalist, he claimed that Jake’s challenge simply proves that “he realizes he doesn’t have a future in boxing.” When asked if Askren would ever accept Paul’s challenge to wrestle, Askren expressed utter confusion and shared his thought process. “I cannot figure out — I always, always try to think of what is someone’s angle on this — I can’t figure out what his angle is. I don’t know. If he wants to wrestle, we can wrestle.” Simply befuddled by Paul’s interest in wrestling, Askren continued to explain why the rationale is so perplexing: “Let’s put it this way, he wasn’t even good at high school wrestling. The notion that I couldn’t pin him in 20 seconds is hilarious. So I don’t really know what his angle is yet there.” Touching on Paul’s inadequacies as a high school wrestler and his short career thus far as a boxer, Askren dissected the ‘challenge’ and explained that it reaffirms a belief he has been considering: “The one thing it does make me think is, which I’ve kind of always thought and this would be further proof, is that he realizes he doesn’t have a future in boxing.” If Paul beats Askren, he will have defeated a YouTuber; a 36-year-old, 5’9” basketball player; and a 36-year-old, 5’10” MMA retiree coming off of a hip surgery. At 6’1” and 24 years old, the younger Paul brother’s commitment to the sport is directly questioned by Askren. To argue why expressing interest in wrestling a world-recognized wrestler suggests lack of faith in a boxing career, Askren offered some concluding logic: “If your goal was to be a great boxer, you’re not going to take a couple nights off to wrestle somebody.”

  • Ben Askren claims Jake Paul fight shouldn’t have been stopped in first round – Dexerto

Ben Askren claims Jake Paul fight shouldn’t have been stopped in first round MMA IslandAfter his devastating first-round boxing defeat to Jake Paul, Ben Askren has hinted this fight will be his last and explained how he disagreed with the quick stoppage. After all the hype, Jake Paul’s swift TKO of Ben Askren meant the fight was more of a sprint than a marathon. Paul was the betting favorite, but nobody expected the fight to end so quickly. The YouTuber took just 70 seconds and a quick one-two jab to break Askren’s defense and send him falling to the canvas. Askren was able to get back up, but the referee called the fight in favor of Paul. Instantly, there were question marks over Askren’s future. The 36-year-old former MMA star had previously told BJPenn.com that he hoped to do “two or three more” fights, but both the result and nature of this defeat seem to have forced him into changing his mind. Ringside view of Jake Paul’s KO of Ben Askren 🥊pic.twitter.com/YVLsixpEqI — Dexerto (@Dexerto) April 18, 2021 After his loss at the hands of Paul, Askren was asked by MMA Island whether this would be his last piece of action in the ring. Askren refused to deny that this fight would indeed be it for his career in combat sports, but only confirmed his plans to continue coaching from now on. “No, [it’s not the end],” he said, “I’m gonna take about a million dollars home in the bank, and I’m gonna coach some wrestling.” He also explained how he disagreed with the referee’s decision to stop the fight so early on. “I thought I was fine but whatever,” Askren added. “That’s [the ref’s] job, if that’s what he felt, that’s what he did.” Askren has certainly faced more devastating knockouts in his career, such as his infamous 5-second UFC loss to Jorge Masvidal in 2018, so it’s understandable to think he would have been able to carry on after hitting the floor this time. But no matter which direction Askren chooses, he will always have the comfort of that gigantic final payday in his pocket. And besides Askren’s loss, fans are more concerned with who Paul will be fighting next, with the likes of British reality TV star Tommy Fury, brother of boxer Tyson, and fellow content creator KSI the main names being touted.

Ben Askren claims Dillon Danis was “scared” of fighting Jake Paul Wikimedia/Instagram/Jakepaul/dillondanisWith mixed martial artist Ben Askren officially stepping foot into the ring against YouTube celebrity Jake Paul on April 17, the former UFC star has revealed some new information about the origins of the match and how Dillon Danis seems to have ducked the confrontation. Jake Paul vs Ben Askren was officially announced on January 26, with Paul revealing his next boxing opponent on Twitter via a slick poster. The two had been engaged in social media shenanigans for some time, and after weeks of back-and-forth, Askren officially accepted the challenge on December 22 – and now, the contract is signed. While that may be all well and good, Ben wasn’t even who Jake originally wanted to match up against, according to Askren. During an interview with ESPN’s Ariel Helwani, Ben delved into how Dillon Danis didn’t want to take the fight. (Segment starts at 3:08) “Dillon Danis is actually afraid of Jake Paul!” he revealed after claiming that Jake really wanted to fight him. “Legitimately, I’m not messing with you.” While the conversation shifted, the two returned to the topic of Danis a bit later on. (Segment starts at 28:43) “Dude, Dillon is such a little… can you believe how much of a little bitch this guy is?” Askren laughed. “And how he wants to act like he wanted the fight? I mean listen, Ariel, I will give you this: I don’t want to crap on myself. I was number two. I was not in the driver’s seat. It was Dillon Danis.” “Dillon Danis is actually scared of a YouTube star! That’s so embarrassing!” the former UFC fighter added. Danis has, however, denied claims that he’s too chicken to take on a YouTube boxer. On Twitter, Danis shared DMs sent by Jake ,and how he would have preferred a June bout. He also called an offer the YouTuber’s manager sent “pure dog shit.” As for Askren’s own match against Jake Paul, the former Bellator Welterweight Championship revealed he predicts that he will win by TKO in the seventh round, citing his lack of power as the only reason it will go so deep. “It’s going to take me some time to beat him down and make him hate his life,” he chuckled. We’ll have to see if the prediction comes true when the two face off on April 17.

Ben Askren calls out Jake Paul for MMA fight after his switch from boxing IG: BenAskren / JakePaulFormer UFC star Ben Askren has offered to fight Jake Paul in MMA, after the YouTuber turned boxer signed his first official agreement with the PFL. With how fast the influencer fighting sphere is moving, fans might be forgiven for missing a beat or too. Right now, a lot of the community’s attention is on Dillion Danis reportedly pulling out of his fight with KSI. Instead, KSI will fight FaZe Temperrr. Resultantly, it may have been missed that Jake Paul has signed his first agreement with the Professional Fighters League, investing in the UFC competitor. Now, he may have a first opponent. Ben Askren calls out Jake Paul following MMA agreement Former UFC star Ben Askren, who Paul comfortably bested when they met in the ring in April 2021, has signalled a willingness to meet again, this time in MMA. Responding to an ESPN tweet, which asked whether fans would like to see Askren take on Paul in a MMA fight, Askren said it would be “delightful”. “Well that would be delightful, but my UFC contract froze when I retired,” he explained. “Lots of hurdles to clear, someone take care of those for me and I’d love to rub his face in the canvas for a while.” In short, it doesn’t sound like it could occur soon because of the contractual obstacles that need to be overcome. However, assuming those can be taken care of, Askren is more than willing to do battle with Paul again, this time in a sport a little closer to home. Paul hasn’t responded as of the time of writing but, if his track record’s anything to go by, he probably won’t back down. Following his MMA contract move, Paul went on to call out all-time-great Nate Diaz.

Ben Askren admits he could lose to Jake Paul: “There’s a chance he’s really good” YouTube: IMPAULSIVEBen Askren admitted he could lose against Jake Paul in their upcoming fight if he ends up being “really good,” but doesn’t think that will be the case due to his questionable skill and experience. It’s still hard to believe that a fight between Ben Askren and Jake Paul is actually happening. The discrepancy in their combat experience is unnerving. But it’s around the corner now, and the hype is real. To help promote the fight, Logan Paul invited Ben to appear as a guest on Episode 272 of the Impaulsive Podcast. It was a surprisingly wholesome conversation from start to finish. But inevitably, at one point, he started talking about Jake’s legitimacy as a fighter, and he’s actually a bit worried. “He beat up a YouTuber and a basketball player who likely has never been in any type of fight in his whole life,” Askren said. “What about that makes him good?” “He’s only fought two times against guys who weren’t really all that high level. So, his skill as a combat athlete probably is not that high yet, and it’s going to take a while to get there.” Read More: Jake Paul accused of sexual assault – Interestingly, Ben admitted he could lose the fight, but it depends on how good Jake really is. “There’s a chance he’s really good. And if he’s really, really good, he’s going to beat me.” However, Askren is confident that won’t happen. “Have you ever [seen] a kid warming up, and you’re like, ‘damn, he’s kind of slick.’ Then you see him out there in [a] match, and it’s not going his way, and he’s not the same guy anymore. He’s a different guy. That’s kind of what I’m expecting.” April 17 is fast approaching, and only then will we know once and for all who will be the winner.

  • Below Deck’s Kate roasts Vanderpump Rules star Tom Sandoval for podcast episode – Dexerto

Below Deck’s Kate roasts Vanderpump Rules star Tom Sandoval for podcast episode YouTube: Bravo, Howie Mandel Does StuffVanderpump Rules star Tom Sandoval tried to share his side of the cheating scandal and Below Deck’s Katie wasn’t having it. The main drama inside the world of Vanderpump Rules revolves around Tom Sandoval and his long-term girlfriend Ariana Madix. The couple were together for almost 10 years. But, a few weeks ago, it was revealed that Tom cheated on Ariana with their co-star and close friend Raquel Leviss. In an attempt to clear the air, Tom recently went on the Howie Mandel Does Stuff podcast to address the drama. And it did not go over very well. Below Deck’s Kate blasts Tom Sandoval’s cheating explanation During the podcast, Tom claimed that he didn’t cheat on Ariana and that they actually broke up. He also shared that Ariana asked him to take a step towards having a child together the same day the cheating scandal went live. Needless to say, Below Deck crew member Kate Chastain is not on Tom’s side. She took to Twitter yesterday to roast him and mock what his PR team might say to him as a response to what he said on the podcast. Can you imagine the call with his PR team after this 😭 — Kate Chastain (@Kate_Chastain) April 11, 2023 “Well Tom… we’ve seen the interview…at least you didn’t kill anyone” “Well Tom…we’re not sure this is going to move the needle like you thought but you did seem comfortable and confident in your answers” #PumpRules https://t.co/ci4kYO11Lp Her response has gone viral with over half a million views. One fan commented under her Twitter post and wrote, “Like I’m shocked that he thought this was a good idea, and you can tell he genuinely believes he’s the victim here and he’s been wronged by Ariana. This is so bizarre.” Tom hasn’t publicly responded to the backlash of the podcast episode. • Below Deck’s Hayley reveals she’s staying with a guest from Season 10 – Dexerto

Below Deck’s Hayley reveals she’s staying with a guest from Season 10 Instagram/hayleydesolapintoBelow Deck fan favorite stew Hayley De Sola Pinto has spilled some details about her time on the show’s tenth season and which guest she’s still hanging out with. The fiery redhead made waves throughout Below Deck season 10 with her bombastic attitude, sense of humor, and over-the-top shenanigans after a night of drinking with the crew. Despite her mannerisms, Hayley was never on the chopping block like her fellow stews Camille Lamb and Alissa Humber – both of which were terminated by Captain Sandy Yawn filling in for Captain Lee. As it turns out, Hayley not only impressed fans across the globe, but she made such good friends with one charter guest that she’s staying with him. Hayley spills details on Below Deck Season 10 drama Speaking with TVInsider, Hayley was asked to comment on who the worst guests were among all the charters. “To be honest, I wouldn’t say the guests this season haven’t been that bad. I think other Below Deck seasons had it worse than us. We did have some demanding guests, but that is just yachting,” she replied. However, she also noted that one guest, in particular, stood out and that she was actually hanging out with him during the interview. “I want to add that I’m actually staying with one of the guests. I’m staying with John right now! That’s a perfect example of the guests and how that went. We became very good friends after his episode,” the Brit explained. John was a drag queen from charter 7 who hit it off with the crew, who he called “fantastic” while speaking with Bravo. Hayley was also asked about Sandy’s decision to let Camille and Alissa go, prompting the redhead to explain why it was the right call. “We definitely worked better once everything changed. It was quite exhausting watching both of those girls argue throughout the season,” she said, admitting that she tried not to take sides due to sharing a cabin with Alissa. “Actually, when they both got fired, everything did change. I hate to say this, but it was a calmer atmosphere because the drama here disappeared.” Hopefully, this isn’t the last fans see of Hayley and she will return for Below Deck Season 11. As for who else will be back for another go as crewmates, reports have suggested that Chef Rachel and Captain Lee will be replaced, but he has remained adamant that he isn’t ready to retire just yet.

  • Below Deck’s Hayley De Sola Pinto reunites with controversial former co-star – Dexerto

Below Deck’s Hayley De Sola Pinto reunites with controversial former co-star Hayley De Sola Pinto just had an unexpected Season 10 reunion with Ross McHarg, and it looks like he’s back to his flirty ways. Because there are so many spin-offs within the franchise and the cast rotates constantly, it’s always a treat when Below Deck stars reunite. For instance, Captain Sandy reunited with her former employee Malia White during the third season of Winter House. Gary King from Sailing Yacht also recently met up with Alli Dore, whom he used to have an on-screen relationship with. That being said, there was another BD reunion that just took place but it might not garner the same positive sentiment. On April 13, Below Deck star Hayley De Sola Pinto shared multiple videos of herself and Ross McHarg out together. They both were on the tenth season of the show when Hayley was the 3rd Stewardess and Ross was the Bosun. Among the videos, she also shared a short clip of Ross chatting with two women with the caption, “Ross doing what Ross does best.” If you don’t remember, Ross was quite the ladies’ man on Season 10, and was to blame for creating an extremely chaotic love triangle. What made it much more controversial than the other BD love triangles was the fact that Ross and Katie Glaser had an exclusive relationship before he sparked up a romance with fellow crew member Alissa Humber. Judging by the video and Hayley’s caption, Ross is single and ready to mingle, with the Season 10 love triangle far behind him.

  • Below Deck’s Captain Sandy admits she nearly fired all the stews on Captain Lee’s boat – Dexerto

Below Deck’s Captain Sandy admits she nearly fired all the stews on Captain Lee’s boat BravoBelow Deck’s Captain Sandy Yawn has admitted that she considered firing one of the remaining stews on Captain Lee’s boat after taking over in Season 10. Season 10 of Below Deck has been one for the ages with plenty of drama involving the crew on the work side and their personal relationships. Ever since Captain Lee Rosbach had to leave the season earlier due to health issues, Captain Sandy cleaned house on the interior side of things by firing Camille Lamb. Sandy, erm, Captain Sandy, followed this up by sacking Alissa Humber for showing an “intolerable” lack of respect and it turns out that she had another crew member in her crosshairs for a bit. Captain Sandy reveals she nearly fired Fraser Olender During an interview with Us Weekly, Captain Sandy explained that she considered letting Chief Stew Fraser Olender go, but decided against it. If she had followed through, this would have meant that Hayley De Sola Pinto would be the only stew left standing from the original crew that began Season 10. “There was a moment [where I considered firing him]. Absolutely. Because listen the walls are thin and [it is important to not] jump on their bandwagon. Change that narrative. That’s your role as the superior here,” she said. “You’re absolutely responsible for your team. So I didn’t go to the [interior] team members [with my issues]. I went to the chief stew and said, ‘This isn’t happening. You hired them. Fix it.’” The Captain went on to say that she was wrong for calling Fraser “cancer” earlier in the season, noting that she has had cancer herself and that she “should have chosen different words.” However, added that it appeared as if Fraser was “confused” about the job. “I think Fraser was confused. He really never had that leadership support,” she added. “If you just open the doors and let them go figure it out on your own — that doesn’t exist. Then you have what you have.” Luckily, the two seem to have ended their feud with Fraser even revealing that by the end of the season, fans will see how she taught him about himself and “opened his eyes to things he wouldn’t have dealt with so well.” For more Below Deck news, guides, and updates head over to our page here.

  • Below Deck’s Captain Lee takes shot at Tom Sandoval amid Vanderpump Rules drama – Dexerto

Below Deck’s Captain Lee takes shot at Tom Sandoval amid Vanderpump Rules drama BravoBelow Deck Season 10’s Captain Lee Rosbach has weighed in on the Vanderpump Rules affair drama, taking a shot at Tom Sandoval. Captain Lee has had an unexpected back and forth with his temporary replacement, Sandy Yawn, during Season 10 – which came to a head when he returned to his boat with two members of the original crew fired. Drama has been brewing all across Bravo TV’s reality section in 2023 so far, as well. Over on Vanderpump Rules, viewers were left stunned when it was revealed that fan-favorite Tom Sandoval had been having an affair, later leaving his partner and co-star Ariana Madix. In an apology on Instagram, he said: “I want to first and foremost apologize to everyone I’ve hurt through this process. Most of all, I want to apologize to Ariana. I made mistakes, I was selfish, and made reckless decisions that hurt somebody I love. No one deserves to feel that pain so traumatically and publicly.” Captain Lee from Below Deck reveals verdict on Tom Sandoval Since then, Below Deck’s veteran seadog has weighed in on the situation, with a cheeky shot at Tom. Never afraid of speaking his mind, Lee told an account called YourMomsWatching: “He looks like a poor man’s Johnny Depp.” YourMomsWatching often reports about different happenings on Bravo TV, and the latest chat with Lee seems to have attracted a mixed response. One fan replied: “Not even close. Stop insulting Johnny.” Another said: “That is what is called ‘A sick burn’.” A third joked: “That’s what you get when you order from Wish.” As Captain Lee didn’t go into detail about the Vanderpump Rules situation, it’s unclear as to how he feels about the split with Ariana. One thing is for sure, though, cap doesn’t hold back when he’s asked an opinion about something – a trait that’s made him one of the most popular on the Below Deck cast. The star, who recently sparked controversy after she started an OnlyFans account, also said that she felt unfairly treated by the show’s editing, which cast her as a “dumb blonde” stereotype. In an interview, Camille said her relationship with Ben didn’t end on “the best terms” due to her stress at the thought of the show airing. Camille Lamb admits to breaking Ben Willoughby’s heart She said: “It ended not on the best terms because I was just so anxious about the season coming out. “I just wasn’t myself and so I didn’t treat him fairly after the show ended when we tried to get our relationship going. “We don’t talk much. I think I probably broke his heart. I didn’t go about it the right way to end it all.” However, she also said that they had spoken recently, and that she thought they were on decent terms. “I think we’re good. He actually called me recently and we had a short conversation, but I don’t know.” Camille was also very critical of the editing on the show, saying that she thought it wasn’t an accurate representation of what happened. “I got medicated for anxiety because it was that intense. • Below Deck viewers flame “toxic” Captain Sandy after leaving Fraser in tears – Dexerto

Below Deck viewers flame “toxic” Captain Sandy after leaving Fraser in tears BravoBelow Deck’s Captain Sandy Yawn is in hot water with viewers after her feedback to chief stew Fraser Olender left him in tears. It is fair to say Sandy has been a divisive stand-in captain for Season 10, after Captain Lee was forced to take a break from the role on medical grounds – ruling himself out of contention for Season 11. Lee has even called out the decision to fire Camille Lamb on Twitter, prompting a response from his replacement on a radio station. On January 24, he said: “So I found out after the fact that she fired one of my crew, not before. Ok?” Sandy said she gave him a courtesy call about the decision and needed to make a call on the crew member swiftly. Now, it appears Sandy has found another problem in the crew – popular chief stew, Fraser. Fraser Olender in tears over Captain Sandy Yawn comment While Captain Sandy has gone on record saying she would rather work with Fraser versus former Below Deck Med star Hannah Terrier, she has become increasingly frustrated by him during the charter season. Sandy fired Terrier for being in possession of contraband drugs in Season 5 of BDM. As seen in the full recap below from Hayu, she has accused her newest interior team of rushing guests off the boat, calling them out over the radio. In the latest episode of the show, the captain delivered some brutal feedback to Fraser in front of the crew, and fans have taken issue with one comment in particular. “When I see where we can change things, I expect you to go downstairs and shoulder what I just told you,” Sandy said, learning that Fraser had discussed his feelings about her to other crew members. “That needs to be improved and not permeate the boat with cancer… You have now infected my entire program. The fish stinks at the head and right now you are that head.” Sandy went on to say that she has seen “insubordination and just blatant disrespect” from the crew, starting with Fraser. Breaking into tears, Fraser said: “If someone refers to cancer to me ever again with what I went through with my father it makes me disgusted. The fact that she thinks so negatively of me makes me feel utterly horrendous.” He has since said the comment felt as if it was designed to “break” him. Below Deck fans respond to Sandy’s “cancer” comment” Many viewers have leaped to the defense of Fraser, with users describing Captain Sandy as a “toxic” boss to work for. One replied to his tweet: “That was not constructive Fraser, it was bullying and it was made to break you! It’s your first time and you’re doing amazing and she is faulting you at every hurdle! We see how well you’re doing and the guests clearly love you.” “It it was constructive, she would have helped guide you better instead of just criticizing.” Another said: “Captain Sandy is one of the most toxic bosses ever. She’s cruel, condescending, and reactive.” A third posted: “She was wrong. She handled it wrong. Just wrong any way you slice it.” Whether or not Fraser will continue on as chief stew on Below Deck US remains to be seen, but one thing is for sure, he will be hoping one crew member returns to the Med soon.

Captain Lee’s Below Deck crew shatters all-time tip record days after return BravoBelow Deck’s Season 10 cast has shattered the all-time tip record just days after Captain Lee Rosbach returned to Bravo TV’s hit show. Captain Lee’s future might have a cloud hanging over it for Season 11, after he was taken off air for a few episodes in Season 10 and replaced with Captain Sandy Yawn. And despite Yawn saying at one point she considered firing the entire interior team, his return was marked with an outstanding achievement – leading the crew towards a $40,000 tip. The tip is the biggest ever seen on Bravo TV‘s hit show. The previous record-setting tip total was $35,000, back when Timothy Sykes was a primary in Season 2. Below Deck all-time tip record smashed by Season 10 cast He tweeted: “Now, that’s what I call a tip. To the crew, well done, record-setting tip.” Hundreds of likes and comments of support were sent in for the Season 10 cast, since the episode aired on March 13. Below Deck star Gary King reveals “love triangle” with crewmates BravoBelow Deck’s Gary King revealed that he and his fellow crewmates onboard Parsifal III got themselves into a jealous love triangle. Below Deck Sailing Yacht might not have ships as big as the luxury yachts in the original show, but it certainly has drama that is just as good, even if Captain Lee isn’t coming back. In Season 3 of the show, Gary and chief stewardess Daisy Kelliher got intimate in the ship’s hot tub, leading many to speculate that they’d hook up after the show ended. But in Season 4, we instead see Daisy make moves on chief engineer Colin Macrae, who recently found himself single. Below Deck crew find themselves in a love triangle In an interview, Gary revealed that he didn’t properly follow up on his intimacy with Daisy, saying he’d “shot myself in the foot” by not asking for anything more. “Daisy and I have had a connection — well, I certainly believe so, for many years — and I think there’s chemistry there and … it certainly hit me. I was like, wow. “I’ve had my chance to get with Daisy, I didn’t take my chance, and now she’s hooking up with Colin and I’m jealous over it. So, it’s quite a contradiction, but it’s just how I felt really.” However, Gary also said that while he felt jealous of Colin, they are still on good terms, and he doesn’t plan on letting his feelings get in the way of the friendship. “Me and Colin chat all the time. I’m not gonna let someone get in the way of a friendship. I mean, you can see from season 2 and 3, Colin and my relationship is really, really good. “Yes, it was a love triangle and yes, Colin and I do argue a little bit, but I think we’ve brushed it under the rug. Our friendship is strong enough to not let anything get in the way of it.” For more news and updates on Below Deck, check out Captain Lee’s favorite moment from his run on the main show.

Below Deck star Camille Lamb slams “disgusting” man harassing her on street IG: camillelambbBelow Deck star Camille Lamb has confronted and now called out a “disgusting” stranger who was stalking her on the street. Lamb, who rose to fame after her appearance on Below Deck Season 10, shared the suspicious and unsettling experience on Instagram, speaking of how an unidentified man appeared to follow her in a silver car. Praising herself for being “very observant” and “very much a spy in another life,” Lamb spoke of her efforts to deter the stranger by simply confronting him. “I’m about to buy a wolf, like a big ass dog because I was walking down the street, about to turn the corner, and this silver car comes around and starts to slow down,” Lamb recounted. She spoke of how the car then pulled over at an unusual parking spot and that the driver had stepped out of the vehicle and started to approach her. Lamb then spoke of how she took matters into her own hands by simply staring the man down and employing the “observer effect.” “People start acting differently once they know they’re being observed—it’s the observer effect,” Lamb said. So he walks back to the car and acts like he’s cleaning up the front seat.” Lamb continued, “I’m a very intuitive smart woman; I know when something’s up, and something was up,” before then detailing her experience of approaching the man. After taking a photo of the man’s license plate, Lamb then approached the car safely and looked through the opposite window to say, “I see you, weirdo, bald ass looking motherf***er.” She then walked to the front of the car and continued to stare at the man who was now pretending to be using his phone. “I turn around like I’m going to walk away and then immediately turn back around,” she said. “He was about to get out of the car, sees me turn around, and gets right back in the car on the passenger side.” Lamb went on to express her frustration over feeling unsafe and the need to modify her behavior and clothing to avoid harassment. “Be careful, ladies, stay observant, and just know that most men are disgusting and scary,” she said. “It’s like I shouldn’t have to feel like I can’t wear this because I’m gonna get harassed. I’m over it. I’m just so annoyed with the state of the world.”

Below Deck Season 10 reunion reportedly canceled as cast member leaks email BravoThe Below Deck Season 10 reunion episode has reportedly been canceled according to an email posted by Alissa Humber, citing “scheduling issues.” Below Deck Season 10 has been entertaining fans across the world since it started airing in November 2022, with fans hooked on watching the drama unfold on the series. Many seasons of Below Deck have had a reunion episode at the end of the series which allows the cast to catch up, and go over some of the biggest moments from recent episodes. As Season 10 nears its end, many viewers have been anticipating a reunion episode, but will there be one this series? Will there be a Below Deck Season 10 reunion? On February 23, former stew Alissa Humber, who was fired this season, posted what appeared to be a screenshot of an email on her Instagram story, which claimed that the Below Deck Season 10 reunion would be canceled. She captioned it, “Interesting.” The email read: “Hi – I’m writing to let you know that the Below Deck Reunion has now unfortunately been canceled. We really do appreciate all of your efforts in the lead-up to this, but scheduling issues have since come up that have made it impossible for us to move forward. • Below Deck Sailing Yacht: Why are Gary and Chase fighting? – Dexerto

Below Deck Sailing Yacht: Why are Gary and Chase fighting? BravoFirst Mate Gary King and deckhand Chase don’t see eye to eye, and it doesn’t look like their relationship is going to get much better. Below Deck Sailing Yacht is no stranger to big drama, especially with the enclosed spaces that the yachties have to coexist in. But it appears that Captain Glenn is going to have to put up with a lot more infighting among the crew, because the deckies are not getting on well. The issues began once Gary returned to the ship, immediately after one of the crew’s nights out between charters. He was introduced to the new deckies before they set off. Why are Gary and Chase fighting on Below Deck Sailing Yacht? The trouble between the two deckhands started when Chase tried explaining how to tie ropes to Alex, another newbie, before Gary interrputed him. Gary took over Chase’s tutorial, told Alex something different about the ropes, and then exclaimed that because he’s First Mate, they do things “my f*cking way, bitches!”, which clearly annoyed Chase. So things between Chase and Gary got off to a pretty bad start, and it wasn’t long until things got even worse, when they tried putting out the water toys. Chase wanted to put out more toys than Gary, which meant the First Mate pulled rank on him. In response, Chase called him a “know-it-all” when chatting to Colin. To make matters worse, Gary shouted at Chase in front of the charter guests, which is a big no-no in Below Deck etiquette. Things really heated up when Chase checked the water levels in the hot tub, which Gary attacked him over, putting him into a really sour mood. This only got worse when Captain Glenn asked him to clean parts of the deck on top of his other work. With the bulk of Season 4 left to come, it’s clear that this is just the beginning of some serious tension, and many fans are predicting that Chase won’t last the whole show. • Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 4 fans are disgusted by the first charter guests – Dexerto

Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 4 fans are disgusted by the first charter guests YouTube: BravoEven though progress was made in the new episode of Below Deck Sailing Yacht, fans were fixated on the behavior of the guests. The premiere episode of the season started with a disaster. The engine of the yacht was not working, which meant that the crew of the Parisfall III would not be able to leave the dock. Making matters worse, there were impatient guests on board, meaning Chief Stew Daisy and the rest of the crew had to entertain while maintaining their duties. Fans were worried that this would stop the season’s voyages before they even started, but Chief Engineer Colin was able to fix the engine in this new episode and now the Parisfall III is up and running. This news should have put viewers at ease, but most were not happy with the guests on board the charter. What did fans think of the Below Deck Sailing Yacht guests? When the cameras panned to the rooms of the guests, fans were outraged by what they saw. Their clothes were thrown aimlessly all over the place, and there were even stains on the sheets and on the carpet. None of the guests seemed to even give the crew a heads-up of the mess before they left the boat. Viewers were mad that the guests had the audacity to complain about their experience when they were causing such a chore for the cleanup crew. One fan also pointed out the ‘ironic’ timing that the guests decided to start complaining. That is disgusting and disrespectful how these guests think it is ok to be that dirty. I don’t care how much it costs to chater that boat.#BelowDeckSailing — Lisa Mickle Allseitz (@lalisa810) April 18, 2023 Notice that they didn’t complain about the toilet paper, bath, mat, or towels until it was time to pay. #belowdecksailing #BelowDeckSailingYacht — Maria Philomena (@Philomena777) April 18, 2023 Some fans were trying to defend the guests, as they didn’t get what they paid for on the trip. They were expecting a running ship and that isn’t what they got. Sorry, Glenn, I love you but you’d be issuing me a refund immediately on this (non) sailing yacht trip. #BelowDeckSailing#BelowDeckSailingYacht — Gidget (@Gidgetgirl408) April 18, 2023 These guests have left, which means that the next episode will bring in an all-new charter. Hopefully, with a now-working ship, the rest of the season will be smooth sailing. To stay updated on all things Below Deck and what happens this season, make sure to check our page here.

Yet, his arrival wasn’t the only entertaining situation that happened in last night’s episode. • Below Deck Sailing Yacht fans confused after Gary drops cryptic post – Dexerto

Below Deck Sailing Yacht fans confused after Gary drops cryptic post Bravo TVBelow Deck Sailing Yacht fans are slightly perplexed after noticing crew member Gary King’s mysterious Instagram post. Recently, BravoCon kicked Gary off the celebrity lineup due to his recent sexual misconduct allegations. The crew member was involved in a ton of drama in Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 4, especially the love triangle with Chief Stewardess Daisy Kelliher and Engineer Colin Macrae. In August 2023, a makeup artist for the show accused Gary of allegedly forcing himself upon her while he was drunk. The First Mate has since responded to the accusation, claiming it was “so far from the truth.” ‘ Now, Gary has posted a cryptic Instagram post featuring hashtags like “I would never do that.” Below Deck fans can’t believe Gary’s Instagram hashtags On November 2, Below Deck fans took to Reddit to discuss Gary’s strange social media post. “Is the falling into Daisies a reference to Daisy? I didn’t think they were still together. Also, read the hashtags. I guess he’s going with denying,” the OP wrote. “Man Gary sucks at hashtags. I spent way too long trying to figure out who Alie was before I realised the first hashtag says a lie,” another person remarked. The post’s hashtags included “I would never do that” and “Don’t believe everything you see,” likely referencing his recent sexual misconduct allegations. “Does anyone actually believe that Gary has never watched his seasons? I’ve always called total bull**** on that. But then again, he never seems to learn and only gets worse,” a third person commented. Other fans pointed out how Captain Glenn and Ileisha liked the post, in addition to Gary being a “creep” on the Project Runway Below Deck episode. It’s clear Gary took Captain Lee’s advice of “Don’t embarrass yourself” and “Don’t embarrass the boat” to a whole new level. • Below Deck Sailing Yacht fan finds big clue for Season 5 location & cast – Dexerto

Below Deck Sailing Yacht fan finds big clue for Season 5 location & cast BravoBelow Deck Sailing Yacht fans have been given some potentially huge news about Season 5’s upcoming location and a returning member of the cast. Sailing Yacht Season 4 has been full of twists and turns where storylines are concerned – as fans continue to follow the fallout from the love triangle on board between Daisy, Colin, and Gary. Well, one of those three seems set to return to Bravo‘s hit show, if clues collected by fans of the series are to be believed. Not just that, but the location in which they may be filming the next batch of episodes has also been hinted at. Below Deck Season 5 filming location potentially revealed Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 5 could be heading to the Balearic Islands, in Spain. While it’s not confirmed by showrunners just yet, a big hint has emerged from the fanbase. Viewers have been attached to their phones, following the drama on social media after each episode in Season 4 – whether it’s Instagram stories, posts, or beef on Twitter. Many had noticed that Gary King was traveling around the Balearic Islands, including Ibiza and Mallorca, which could have been something or nothing at the time. People go on vacation, after all. However, things took a turn when a fan of the show spotted some of the pre-production filming in Ibiza – which they suspect is for Season 5 as Season 4 was in Sardinia, Italy. The Reddit user posted it to the Below Deck subreddit on June 22, fuelling speculation. They said: “Spotted the Parsifal III in Ibiza this week. Looked like they may have been anchored overnight in Cala Tarida?” One fan replied: “I assume they are filming for the next season.” Another added: “Gary has definitely recently posted that he’s in Ibiza on Instagram!” Others noted that it was the same boat again, the Parsifal III, which suffered some technical difficulties in Season 4, whereas other spinoffs routinely switch up the vessel. Captain Sandy and Lee, for example, have been at the wheel of many different super yachts since they joined the cast. The official location of Season 5 has yet to be announced by Bravo, and it could be that the crew was just passing through running tests for the upcoming filming sessions. However, a lot of fans are fully buying into the theory that the sunny Balearic Islands will be the next destination. We shall have to wait and see.

We both organically fell in love with one another and had many, many memories to share throughout this whole [Below Deck] journey.” Watch Below Deck’s Alissa reveal her verdict on the romance below, with Andy Cohen. Ben and Leigh-Ann respond to relationship rumors One follower asked Ben about a potential hookup with Leigh-Ann – the stew who replaced Alissa on board – and he stated they are not in a relationship despite meeting up. “Yes! But didn’t work either.” Leigh-Ann also posted about the “love triangle” saying that she stayed with Ben, renting an apartment together, after the show wrapped. “I was there for him as he was getting through his breakup and was a shoulder to lean on,” she wrote. “I did everything in my will to put a smile on his face every day even though it was killing my own mental health. “We also spoke about working and traveling together and Ben possibly coming to [South Africa] with me.” On top of that, she said she’s still waiting for a response from Ben. After staying in contact for a while, it seems the romance has fizzled out between them. Is Camille Lamb in a relationship after Below Deck? • Below Deck Med’s Captain Sandy claims Season 8’s Luka has “crush” on ex-cast member – Dexerto

Below Deck Med’s Captain Sandy claims Season 8’s Luka has “crush” on ex-cast member BravoCaptain Sandy Yawn just joked that Luka Brunton from Below Deck Med has a girlfriend…and it isn’t Jessika Asai. Since leaving Below Deck Down Under for Below Deck Mediterranean, Luka Brunton has found a new way to be the center of attention—especially when it comes to his female co-stars. His first romance began with Nat Scudder but their relationship soon fell apart due to Nat’s open relationship with her boyfriend. After that, he started a boatmance with newcomer Jessika Asai instead and they’ve been managing to keep it away from Captain Sandy Yawn. While it must’ve seemed like a great idea to keep their growing romance away from their boss, not telling her the truth coupled with a new girl that Luka is in communication with might have proven to be the wrong decision. Does Below Deck Med’s Luka have a crush on Katie Flood? In a preview for Episode 14, Captain Sandy glances over at Luka Brunton, who she assumes is texting Katie Flood—a former member of the Below Deck Med and recent star of Winter House Season 3. Apparently, she is nearby where their yacht is and they have been talking with each other. Because she has no clue about his relationship with Jessika, Captain Sandy doesn’t hold back teasing him about his “crush” on Katie right in front of her. She even joked and used the word “girlfriend”, which caused Jessika to rage and say “What f***ing girlfriend?”. “Captain Sandy has no idea what’s going on between Jess and Luka. I’m really curious how Luka is going to get himself out of this one,” Tumi Mhlongo commented on the situation. Viewers will soon see how this unfolds and if Katie actually makes an appearance in this season. To stay updated on Below Deck Med and the upcoming seasons, make sure to check our page here.

  • Below Deck Med star Kyle Viljoen returns to IG after hiatus for being the “main character” – Dexerto

Below Deck Med star Kyle Viljoen returns to IG after hiatus for being the “main character” BravoBelow Deck Med’s Kyle Viljoen reactivates his Instagram account after only a 48-hour hiatus saying he is back because he is a “main character“. Steward Kyle Viljoen has been causing a ruckus in Below Deck Mediterranean Season 8. He has been the center of a lot of drama involving crew mates Natalya Scudder and Tumi Mhlongo. Then he also gets into an explosive argument with Jessika Asai. Soon he was receiving loads of backlash from Below Deck Med fans. It seems that he is bringing that chaotic energy off-screen as well. Here is everything you need to know about the situation. What happened to Kyle Viljeon’s Instagram? On November 12, following the backlash, Kyle deactivated his Instagram account. This happened right after he introduced his first-ever podcast “Unscripted”. Many speculated that he might have done that knowingly. Fans anticipated that an episode of Below Deck Med containing his problematic behavior was about to air. They were not entirely wrong as in episode 8, Kyle was seen lashing at Natalya Scudder calling her a “fake ass b**ch”. Before the deactivation, Kyle posted in his IG Story that he was going on a “social break.” However, the social break lasted only 48 hours and he is now back on the platform. He also posted an IG Story expressing how he thinks he is the main character on the show. He said, “Being ‘main character energy’ is exhausting!”. It’s hard to understand his motivation behind the deactivation but we can all agree that it was a very Kyle-esque thing to do. It could be that Kyle just couldn’t deprive us of his main character energy and made sure to make his social media break as swift as possible. • Below Deck Med fans demand double episode comeback to save “terrible” Season 8 – Dexerto

Below Deck Med fans demand double episode comeback to save “terrible” Season 8 BravoBelow Deck Mediterranean fans are unimpressed, slamming the show’s latest season as “boring” and criticizing its drawn-out weekly release. They are now calling for the season to bring back double episodes as a way to save the season. Below Deck Mediterranean is getting close to wrapping up its eighth season with only three more episodes to go — and it seems fans cannot wait for the end. Unlike Below Deck Down Under, another spinoff in the franchise that sees yachties take on the coast of Australia, Mediterranean has been releasing only one episode a week instead of doing a double-up. And according to viewers on Reddit, the drawn-out season is doing the show no favors. Many are now slamming Mediterranean season 8 as a “snore”, hoping for the last episodes to be released at once just to “get it f****** over with.” Discussing their thoughts on double episodes, user ‘Oy_wth_the_poodles’ took to Reddit; “I like the double episodes because with one episode it’s like you’re just getting into the situation/drama then BAM you have to wait a week… With the current season of Med, I’d love two episodes just to speed through it.” Getting into the specifics of what let down the new season, the user said, “The drama of Kyle, Tumi, and Nat is bordering on boring.” Others quickly chimed in to agree, with one person describing Med as “water torture” and another stating that “This season would have [always] been bad but coming right after a great season doesn’t help it at all.” “What makes it even worse is that the episodes themselves are [so] slow,” ‘crazycrocodile214’ said. “Don’t get me wrong I love the drama, but because of it, we’ve been with these guests for what, 3 weeks?” According to one user, however, the season’s drawn-out release may be intentional; “It’s been widely suspected on this thread that they are drawing out the airing of this season to figure out how to deal with the shit storm currently brewing on Sailing Yacht which has already been filmed.” Check out all the latest entertainment and reality TV news on our page here.

  • Below Deck fans “done” with Fraser’s behavior toward Barbie in Season 11 – Dexerto

Below Deck fans “done” with Fraser’s behavior toward Barbie in Season 11 BravoFraser Olender and Barbie Pascual continued to face off on Below Deck Season 11, and fans are done with his behavior. Chief Stew Fraser Olender has been feuding with his fellow stew Barbie Pascual on Below Deck Season 11. When the crew had a day off at a resort during last night’s episode, Fraser and Barbie tried to work out their issues, but still couldn’t get on the same page. Barbie became upset, and even thought about quitting. Below Deck fans were disappointed with the way Fraser treated Barbie after the argument, and shared their opinions on Reddit. “Fraser telling Barbie she looked crazy was so rude omg she’s busting her a** off and trying to keep it together!” one fan wrote. “She’s also remaining polite and just getting on with work, so his constant pestering about her not talking to him enough (and talking about her under his breath) is just too much tbh.” “I am so done with Fraser. I used to think he was classy but not anymore. He’s turned into an evil vindictive and arrogant boss. He’s being so mean to Barbie for no reason, he can’t get his head out of his a**. If I was her I would have quit on the spot at the resort,” another fan agreed. “Barbie is difficult and I don’t understand her vibe. Having said that, Fraser really shouldn’t be speaking to his staff that way even if it is in a day off. Not a fan of how he is rally the troops against her. It’s not professional as a boss,” a third fan chimed in. Captain Sandy Yawn confronted Fraser about his management style last season, and fans feel that he’s not capable of dealing with Barbie’s personality since he’s had issues with stews in the past. Fraser meets with Captain Kerry Titheradge again to talk about Barbie’s behavior in next week’s episode, and viewers are wondering if she’ll get fired. Below Deck airs Mondays at 9:00 p.m. ET on Bravo.

Below Deck fans delighted as stars meet for LA mini-reunion BravoBelow Deck’s Season 10 reunion might not be confirmed just yet, but stars of Below Deck Sailing Yacht and Down Under have decided to get together anyway in Los Angeles. A leaked screenshot from fired Season 10 star Alissa Humber had previously suggested producers were pulling the brakes on a reunion for the series. The reunion, usually hosted by Andy Cohen, has not yet been officially announced. Meanwhile, though, a handful of the show’s stars – from different spinoffs – have met up for a reunion of sorts in the City of Angels. Below Deck cast created their own mini-reunion in LA As seen below, Captain Jason – who features in Below Deck: Down Under – as well as Aesha Scott – former stewardess in Below Deck Med and now chief stew in the Australian spinoff – hit up LA for a very special visit this March. They visited Chef Marcos Spaziani at his restaurant for an unexpected crossover with Below Deck Sailing Yacht. The restaurant is called Marlou, based inside the O Hotel in downtown LA. The post racked up over 10,000 likes since being posted – with BD fans showing the love. A number of fans posted about the snap on Instagram, with one saying: “Best ever chef on Below Deck.” Another said: “Three of the best right there! Aesha, Marcos, and Jason, you are all amazing people that make the Below Deck franchise the best. Your reunion must have been epic!” A third user wanted them to turn this reunion into something more official, by working together. They said: “You need to be a chef on Below Deck Down Under!!!!!!” Whether or not Jason would be able to tempt Marcos away from his work in LA to join his crew on the high seas, for Season 2, remains to be seen. But, it could certainly give showrunners some food for thought after seeing so many fans interested in the trio working side-by-side in the future.

  • Below Deck fans convinced Ben Robinson is the father of Kate Chastain’s baby – Dexerto

Below Deck fans convinced Ben Robinson is the father of Kate Chastain’s baby BravoFans of Below Deck were momentarily shocked by an Instagram post featuring fan-favorite Kate Chastain, where she posed with chef Ben Robinson in a way that made it look as if he was the father of her child. Below Deck has had its fair share of colorful characters over its decade-long run, but few others have captured the hearts of viewers in the way Kate did. As one of the longest-serving crewmates, she’s become a huge star since joining the show in 2015, and has continued making waves in the reality TV world since then. Her pregnancy has been the source of much speculation, as Kate has confirmed that she is still single and has not revealed the identity of the father. She has also said that she plans to raise the child on her own. Instagram post makes Below Deck fans think Ben is the father Despite Kate’s previous assurances that she would not reveal the identity of her baby’s father, fans were still surprised to see a very suggestive post on the Instagram account of Ben Robinson, a chef from Season 2. In the post, Ben and Kate are posing in the way that couples traditionally announce pregnancies, which was why people jumped to the conclusion that Ben was the father. The caption on the post reads: “Who knew that Kate Chastain and I would be the same weight one day… But to be fair I have been hitting the gym! “Please wish my great friend an easy delivery and a healthy beautiful baby! I am so proud of who you have become and the mother you will soon be.” So it’s easy to see why fans were so quick to assume he was the father. One commenter said: “I thought this was confirming Ben is the father! I was about to levitate out of my chair.” Another said: “I like both of them and hope they both find love and happiness, whether that is with each other or someone else. They do have absolutely wild chemistry.” Kate has previously been very open about how she plans to raise her child. At BravoCon 2022 in November, she revealed, “I’m single, you guys.” She also stated that she is planning to raise her baby solo on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, saying: “I’m doing it solo and perhaps with some help, but I’m happy to do it alone.” For more Below Deck news and updates, check out the fan reaction to the “disastrous” Below Deck: Sailing Yacht Season 4.

  • Below Deck Down Under team responds after two controversial cast firings – Dexerto

Below Deck Down Under team responds after two controversial cast firings InstagramThe Below Deck Down Under cast and crew have addressed Luke Jones and Laura Bileskalne’s terminations due to individual instances of sexual misconduct. Below Deck Down Under saw two crew members face immediate termination following separate instances of sexual misconduct. Luke Jones was asked to leave after crawling into Margot Sisson‘s bed, unclothed, while she was drunkenly unconscious. Despite producers demanding he leave Margot’s bed, Luke refused. Meanwhile, Laura Bileskalne faced termination for sexually harassing fellow crew member Adam Kodra, despite being turned down repeatedly. Once boundaries were crossed, both Laura Bileskalne and Luke Jones were ordered by Captain Jason Chambers to pack their things and leave the boat for good. According to the reality show’s producers, the firings were “instinctual.” Cast and crew prioritize safety in Below Deck Down Under Producers of the Bravo series prioritize the crew’s safety above all else, and anyone who threatens the welfare of the castmates is at risk of being let off the boat permanently. In season 2 of the series, the producers say they made the right decision by firing Luke Jones and Laura Bileskalne. “It was a hard night,” said executive producer Nadine Rajabi in an interview with Digital Spy. “The whole thing was very, very difficult. I didn’t realize the response that would come [out] of this, because that was not anything that we were thinking about. It’s not anything to be congratulated on, because it was just about doing the right thing. I would hope that everybody would act in that way. It was about safety.” The termination of Luke and Laura has reassured Margot, who strongly appreciates that the captain and crew were looking out for her following the incident of sexual misconduct. Via her Instagram story, Margot praised Captain Chambers for taking action. “There are unfortunately a lot of captains who would choose to sweep something like this under the rug. I am grateful that Jason is not one of them,” she wrote. “Thank you for repeatedly making me feel safe and supported. I wish every captain were just like you.” Both Laura and Luke have since apologized for their behavior. “My sincere apologies to Adam. I did not realize I made him feel uncomfortable and no one should be put in that position,” Laura said, per Digital Spy. Meanwhile, Luke expressed his remorse in season 2 episode 7, saying, “I’m sorry. And I’m just so disappointed in myself.” Catch new episodes of Below Deck Down Under on Bravo.

Below Deck’s Captain Lee set for shock return after revealing medical update BravoCaptain Lee Rosbach appears to be plotting an early Below Deck return, after he was forced to leave Season 10 mid-charter season on medical grounds. The popular captain, who has been at the wheel since Season 1 of Bravo‘s US show, was temporarily replaced by Captain Sandy Yawn in 2023. Sandy, the captain for Below Deck Mediterranean, has been a divisive choice after firing two members of Lee’s team since getting on board – first Camille and then Alissa. Who replaced Alissa in Below Deck? Meet Leigh-Ann Smith, new stew in Season 10 Instagram: Leigh-Ann SmithBelow Deck Season 10’s cast has been given another shakeup as Alissa Humber was fired by Captain Sandy Yawn and replaced by Leigh-Ann Smith. Here’s everything we know about the show’s new experienced steward. Captain Lee Rosbach’s exit from Season 10 has caused a wave of drama to descend over the charter season, with Captain Sandy Yawn inheriting a crew she wasn’t happy with. Many viewers have expressed their desire to see Lee return soon, as well, following a medical update he posted on social media. The new cap has fired members of the team and put the others on notice about her expectations, with chief stew Fraser Olander condemning her use of the word “cancer” when delivering feedback. The latest name on the chopping block was Alissa Humber, who was dismissed over an “intolerable” lack of respect for her boss. Now, with her out of the picture, who replaces her in the interior team? Let’s take a look. Who replaced Alissa in Below Deck Season 10? Alissa Humber was fired by Captain Sandy Yawn, following the same path as her former co-worker Camille Lamb. Alissa was replaced by Leigh-Ann Smith on the show. Camille has publicly stated that she thinks Sandy made the right call in the end. Sandy fired Camille first over issues in the interior and later told Alissa to pack her bags as well. Who is Leigh-Ann Smith? Alissa Humber’s replacement as a steward on Below Deck was quickly named, and Leigh-Ann Smith joined the cast shortly after her exit. She has previously worked as a chief stew for two years and – according to a teaser – knows one of the current deckhands. All of the crew followed Leigh-Ann on Instagram during the charter season and on February 14, she teased her arrival with a picture in uniform. She said: “Nothing quite like a CV headshot,” with an eyes emoji. Leight-Ann has just 2,000 followers on Instagram and has been posting images during her travels, from Costa Rica to Cape Town, in South Africa. The first glimpse of Leigh-Ann was featured in a Bravo exclusive preview clip, as seen below. A number of photos also show her working in yachting, making her possibly an ideal fit for the crew in Saint Lucia. Her next journey, though, will take Leigh-Ann to Captain Sandy’s luxury St. David yacht in Season 10. To watch the new cast member’s debut on the show, check out Bravo’s schedule here. • Belle Delphine reveals return to Instagram after ban in exclusive Patreon post – Dexerto

Belle Delphine reveals return to Instagram after ban in exclusive Patreon post Belle Delphine/InstagramBelle Delphine, the controversial lewd model who made international headlines in July 2019 for selling her bathwater to thirsty fans online is teasing a return to Instagram after being banned from the platform. In an August 1 Patreon post, Belle said she had planned to go away for two weeks because she hadn’t taken a break since she began working on her Snapchat, Instagram and YouTube last year. “As soon as I planned to go away my Instagram was removed, I am in contact with Instagram at the moment and it appears to be a technical issue which they are working on!” Delphine revealed. The 19-year-old was banned on Instagram July 19 for breaching their Community Guidelines. Posts on Reddit showed screengrabs of a user reporting Delphine’s Instagram account for containing nudity and pornographic content. Belle revealed that until the “technical issue” is fixed, she’s going to be making a new Instagram account for her fans to follow. 600The Gamer Girl Bath Water entrepreneur also explained that she had food poisoning in Greece, ended up going to a hospital and spent a few days recovering. She got home on July 31 and is only starting to eat again now. Delphine’s rise to internet stardom began in March of 2018 when she began posting “lewds” on her Patreon. On July 1 2019, Belle launched an online store which included the infamous “Gamer Girl Bath Water” which retailed for $30 a jar. When the bath water sold out, Delphine proceeded to sell an entire tub’s worth for $10,000. As of this posting, the Brit has 2,990 Patrons with the cheapest tier being bronze at $1 a month and the most being God at $2,500. 600Delphine concluded her August 1 Patreon post revealing that new content is coming “tomorrow”, August 2. “I want to make this month an extra good month for all of you to show you just how much I love and appreciate everything you have all done for me,” Belle’s post ended. It will be interesting to see what Delphine has up her sleeve this month and if she can wind up breaking the internet once again.

  • Why was Belle Delphine ‘arrested’? It involves a hamster, apparently – Dexerto

Why was Belle Delphine ‘arrested’? It involves a hamster, apparently Belle Delphine, TwitterCosplay model Belle Delphine broke her social media silence earlier this week to seemingly confirm h3h3 star Ethan Klein’s outlandish theory that the internet sensation was in trouble with the police, before expanding on the details of her “arrest.” The former Instagram star became world-famous by selling her bathwater to “thirsty gamers” for $30 a pop, and then by the tub, before she vanished entirely two weeks after her ban from the social media platform on July 17. She was soon left in hot bath water when her Patreon supporters revealed she had not delivered on her promises, just weeks after teasing her supporters with “extra good” upcoming content. Now it seems she’s revealed the reasons behind her disappearance. 600Belle Delphine explains why she was “arrested” “Istg (swear to god) this girl came to my party and stole my hamster,” Delphine revealed on Twitter on October 7. “I have no idea why, or who TF does that? I spray painted the f*ck out of her car, and got arrested. At least I got my hamster back. B*tch.” Alongside her explanation, the cosplay star posted four images that seemed to verify her story, including two photos of the alleged thief’s car covered in paint and the words “B*tch give my hamster back,” and a photo of the hamster in question. I stg this girl came to my party and stole my hamster. I have no idea why, or who tf does that? I spray painted the fucc out of her car and got arrested, at least I got my hamster back. bitch pic.twitter.com/UoKbZ4XTaU — Belle Delphine (@bunnydelphine) October 8, 2019 Belle also attached a screenshot of a conversation between herself and the person that she alleges stolen her hamster during a house party. The former Instagram starlet messaged the suspected thief, and asked if they had her pet. “Lol what are you talking about, I didn’t take your hamster,” the stranger replied, and laughed off Belle’s suggestions that multiple people had accused her of taking the furry pet. Belle replied with a second screenshot in-text, and it seemed the ‘thief’ blocker her after that. Was Belle really arrested? Considering the high-intensity hamster rescue story comes just days after Klein’s theory the star was potentially facing criminal charges, and the mugshot she shared doesn’t exist anywhere else on the internet, many have taken the 19-year-old’s story with a grain of salt. Read more: PewDiePie teases upcoming new diss track – There is also a chance that the conspiracy theory rolled out on the h3h3 podcast was drummed up in collaboration with Belle herself, or was at least shared ahead of time, as Klein commented “Great job Belle, keep it up. Proud of you,” just minutes after she posted. Whether or not Belle’s tale of hamster rescue and paint-coated cars is true, it does seem like the starlet is stepping back into the internet spotlight for the first time since early August. Considering she still boasts more than 2,000 followers on Patreon despite her inactivity, it seems like she hasn’t lost her moment of fame just yet — now the internet will just be waiting with bated breath to see what the pink-haired personality does next.

  • Belle Delphine posts ‘police mugshot’ as arrested theory goes viral – Dexerto

Belle Delphine posts ‘police mugshot’ as arrested theory goes viral Belle DelphineOn Monday October 7, former Instagram model Belle Delphine played into a new rumor sparked by h3h3’s Ethan Klein that she had been arrested by posting a mugshot photo. The Gamer Girl Bathwater entrepreneur had been eerily silent since early August when she promised her Patreon supporters that they were in store for an extra special month. After a lack of updates and even claims that she had been scamming her Patreons, the internet began to theorize what had happened to the model. 600While Belle did reveal she had food poisoning while in Greece, which may have contributed to her absence, h3h3 theorized that Delphine had been arrested. During the October 4 episode of the H3 podcast, Ethan Klein suggested she had gotten herself in legal trouble. “Her real store is offline, which makes me wonder if she got into legal trouble. Because shipping bath water, I don’t think it’s legal,” the YouTube star said. This conspiracy theory quickly went viral as fans began wondering whether their favorite social media celebrity was secretly stuck in prison! It is likely that Delphine saw the podcast and decided to post the photo to Twitter, which is accompanied with the caption: “I got arrested lol.” The photo appears to show Delphine, but without the iconic pink hair, in a mugshot scenario. The girl in the photo also has what appears to be mascara all over her face. In the bottom left corner of the photo, “Metropolitan Police” is watermarked, indicating that the mugshot is from that particular division. However, a reverse google search returned no results as of the time of this posting and there is no indication that it is genuine. Where did Belle Delphine go? After Belle’s Instagram was deleted, the model took a trip to Greece where she came down with food poisoning. The star then posted to Patreon in early August that more content was coming, but that seemingly never happened. A source told Dexerto that the cosplayer “hasn’t added her paying patrons on [Snapchat] for all of August and most of July or posted on it.” Additionally, Delphine claimed that Instagram was working on restoring her account and she may end up making a new one. So far, it seems like Belle has yet to do so. It will be interesting to see how long Delphine remains in the public sphere as this is her first tweet since August 21 where she told SlushiiMusic “Did you know an ostrich’s eye is bigger than its brain? ha ha wow.”

  • Belle Delphine now selling $10,000 giant tub of her bath water – Dexerto

Belle Delphine now selling $10,000 giant tub of her bath water Belle Delphine, TwitterControversial Instagram star Belle Delphine made waves across the internet after selling jars of her own bathwater – but now, the “ahegao” internet celeb is taking her bathtub business ventures to the next level. While Delphine unveiled her “Gamer Girl Bath Water” jars on July 1, that wasn’t the end of her watery wares, by far: now, the starlet is setting her sights on bigger and better things, after listing an entire tub of her bath water online for a $10,000 price point. Buyers will get more than just a plastic tub of water, though – for that price, they’ll also receive a special video of Delphine bathing in the container, as well as full access to all tiers of her Patreon account. “So… I am selling my bath water ONE LAST TIME… except this time, it’s enough to drown in,” she wrote in a Tweet on July 10. “If you’re EXTRA thirsty, then look no further – you also get a custom video of me bathing in the tub that I send to you! …and no, this isn’t a joke.” So…I am selling my bath water ONE LAST TIME…except this time its enough to drown in :sweat_drops: If you’re EXTRA thirsty then look no further, you also get a custom video of me bathing in the tub that I send to you! …and no this isn’t a joke:sweat_drops: Get it here… https://t.co/EIxHkX82Dy pic.twitter.com/pIYFNHByG3— Belle Delphine (@bunnydelphine) July 10, 2019 Of course, commenters across the web made a mockery of Delphine’s listing, with even the likes of YouTuber Ethan Klein asking her to pass gas in the container, to boot. “If I give you $10,000, will you fart in it?” he asked. Delphine’s bath water business saw a slew of hilarious reactions throughout the internet, with one Twitch streamer even drinking the stuff during a live broadcast – despite Delphine’s warning that it was only to be used for “sentimental” purposes. Critics have even accused Delphine of spreading herpes through her water, digging up old photos of the starlet with damaged lips – a claim that Delphine vehemently denied in a following Instagram post on the subject. 500 Considering the success of her “Gamer Girl Bath Water,” which sold out in just a few days, there’s no telling how Delphine’s $10,000 tub trip will fare.

  • Fake ‘Belle Delphine Gamer Girl Pee’ goes on sale as trolls cash in on bath water demand – Dexerto

Fake ‘Belle Delphine Gamer Girl Pee’ goes on sale as trolls cash in on bath water demand Instagram: BelleDelphine / UnsplashClever trolls have created a fake website pretending to be Belle Delphine, selling a jar of “Gamer Girl Pee” for $10,000 as they try to cash in on the 19-year-olds viral fame. Delphine had social media buzzing back on July 2, when she revealed that she would be selling jars of her bath water to “thirsty” fans for the summly price of $30, posting a video on Instagram which showed the starlet personally filling them up herself. Following the success of her bathwater business, it appears trolls are attempting to take advantage of her popularity, creating a fake website and claiming to sell a vial of her urine for $10,000. After revealing that her GamerGirl Bath Water had officially sold out, the Instagram star asked her fans what weird item she should sell next on her website. Plenty of fans suggested she should sell some of her cute outfits or restock her obviously popular bath water, but it seems that trolls have used her post to create an ultra expensive product of their own. The site is a near-perfect copy of Delphine’s own store, with listings for prints and posters than the starlet herself sells on her official website. The Gamer Girl Pee is priced at $9,999 on the fake website, claiming that only one jar will be sold to a “lucky cutie fan,” and includes the disclaimer found on the original bath water product that it is only for sentimental purposes, and not to be consumed. The website even included a convincing picture of the item, complete a lid emblazoned with the words “GamerGirl Pee,” and a message stating that the product has been sent with “love from Belle Delphine.” in the same style that was used on her bathwater product. With Delphine becoming an viral celebrity after the release of her Gamer Girl Bath Water product, it’s no surprise that there are people trying to cash in on her fame to make a quick buck, or to find some fame of her own in what may be a hilarious prank. The item is not associated with Belle Delphine, and is not an official product sold by the controversial internet star.

  • Belle Delphine fires back after hoax claims her bath water caused herpes – Dexerto

Belle Delphine fires back after hoax claims her bath water caused herpes Instagram star Belle Delphine made global headlines this week after selling her bath water to fans for $30 a container, and many have been trying to get in on the action, with one YouTuber even claiming to ‘vape’ the infamous “Gamer Girl Bath Water”. But, not all the attention has been positive. On Twitter, an account impersonating the Daily Mail by using the publication’s name and picture tweeted out a photo of a fake news story with the headline “Over 50 People Have Reportedly Contracted Herpes After Drinking Instagram Star, Belle Delphine’s Bath Water”. While the account @BakeRises has since changed its name and picture from Daily Mail, the fake article about Delphine’s bath water has been retweeted over 17,000 times. Fact-check website Snopes screen grabbed the post when the account was still using the Daily Mail branding. 500The account owner responded to the fake tweet a day later, saying, “It seems the best way to grow on twitter is to impersonate a company and say things about a celebrity that legally can be considered libel and I could potentially be sued for.” Unfortunately, many people fell for the hoax, including one user who commented on a recent photo of Delphine, writing, “50 people got herpes from your bathwater my guy.” “You’re a (clown emoji) if you believed that ;D,” the Instagram star replied. 600 This wasn’t the only user to seemingly unknowingly spread the hoax either. Numerous comments on Delphine’s Instagram mention herpes in some capacity. Only time will tell if this rumour affects future sales of “Gamer Girl Bath Water”, which is currently still sold out. On eBay, a jar of Gamer Girl Bath Water, claiming to be “straight from Belle”, is selling for $100. streamer has now even drank the liquid, explaining it was for the “meme-worthy experience”.Delphine did include a disclaimer on the packaging and website that the product was not for consumption, but rather for “sentimental purposes”.

  • Belle Delphine is actually selling her bath water to thirsty fans – Dexerto

Belle Delphine is actually selling her bath water to thirsty fans Belle Delphine, Instagram / FreepikControversial internet personality, cosplayer, and Instagram star Belle Delphine is known for her lewd content and provocative photos – and now, she’s taking her fame to the next level, by selling an unusual item to her thirsty fanbase. The “ahegao” starlet has unveiled yet another hilarious (and unusual) product for her fans in wake of the prank – and this time, it’s the real deal. Delphine released an Instagram post on July 1 that revealed her latest and greatest innovation, something far more unconventional: her very own bath water. Yep, you read that right – Delphine is actually selling her own bath water to fans, available on her store for a whopping $30.00 price tag. Delphine’s “Gamer Girl Bath Water” comes in a small jar, which is topped with a lid emblazoned with an Xbox controller, reading, “Love, from Belle Delphine.” Yep, you read that right: you can actually buy Belle Delphine’s very own bath water. For $30, of course.https://www.belledelphinestore.com/product-page/gamergirl-bath-water Despite the obvious upcoming misuse of the product, Delphine encouraged buyers NOT to drink the water, claiming that it should only be used for “sentimental” purposes… whatever that means. Delphine even appeared to clown her fans over the product, writing in an Instagram comment, “This is what generation you guys live in. Where girls sell their own bath water. Just let that sink in.” Read More: Twitch viewers disgusted after Mitch Jones shows dog turds and dead cockroaches in his room – Other commenters expressed similar, hilarious sentiments, with some jokingly asking for the price of her urine and menstrual blood. Of course, it’s highly likely that Delphine’s bath water contains more than just water: an Instagram advertisement for the product shows her purposefully drooling into a canister of the stuff, dipping her derriere into the tub, and other such lewd acts. The 19-year-old internet star made waves across the net thanks to her controversial content and “ahegao” faces – and now, she’s making even bigger moves – and dunking on her thirsty fans, at the same time.

  • Belle Delphine accused of scamming Patreon fans – Dexerto

Belle Delphine accused of scamming Patreon fans Facebook/Belle DelphineCosplay model Belle Delphine is in some hot bathwater for allegedly scamming her Patreon supporters. The former Instagram cosplay model had made a name for herself after a series of stunts including literally selling her used bathwater for $30 a bottle to thirsty fanboys. Previously, 19-year-old trolled her fans by promising them she’d create a channel on an adult site if a photo got one million likes on Instagram. While she did end up making the page and even uploaded videos, none of them were explicit in nature. Belle Delphine went on a trip to Greece in July.500 Now, it would appear that the famed scarlet is under siege by her supporters for not providing them with content. Dexerto received an email from a supporter in Belle’s $50 Patreon tier after questions were brought up as to her whereabouts in our previous story. Belle is an online celebrity.500 The source revealed that Delphine, “hasn’t added her paying patrons on [Snapchat] for all of August and most of July or posted on it.” “She hasn’t been active at all or fulfilling the promises to her patrons that pay for the $1,000 tier,” he said. After selling out of “Gamer Girl Bathwater”, Belle sold a whole tub for $10,000. “She’s completely scamming her paying fan base without releasing any content. Her last post said she would be doing extra and making the month ‘extra special’.” As Dexerto previously reported, in Delphine’s last Patreon update was on August 1 where she said she wanted to “make this month an extra good month for all of you to show you just how much I love and appreciate everything you have all done for me.” Belle’s supporters are not happy with the lack of content.500 Many users have commented on Delphine’s last update voicing their displeasure as there hasn’t been another post in over 30 days. Dexerto has censored possible real names to protect identities. “You still haven’t gotten me added to snapchat use,” one said. “I pay $100 and I get nothing all month?” another commented. One user claimed Belle deleted him off Snapchat.500 An upset supported chimed, “The B I G ripoff.” One user claimed that Delphine had added him on Snapchat and then removed him out of nowhere. “She completely ripped me off of $50. If she doesn’t add me back I’m no longer paying next month.” “The last time I spoke with her was July 5,” a fan revealed. “We were talking about me buying the $1000 tier, and then she just stopped replying since then.” A user claimed he was considering moving to the $1000 tier.500 Some of her fans, however, still have her back. “She’s just on hiatus rn. Please don’t disrespect Belle. She will continue making content, this was just a bad month.” With Belle’s Instagram deleted, the last time the cosplay star uploaded any photos was early in August with an assortment of raunchy Twitter pictures. We had previously calculated that with 3,292 Patrons, the bare minimum she would be making per month after Patreon’s max cut is $2,897. That’s a lot of money for doing apparently doing nothing. Not all of Belle’s supporters have given up hope.500 In Belle’s last Patreon post she revealed that she had food poisoning in Greece and had fallen ill around the same time Instagram banned her account for containing ‘nudity and adult content’. As such, she had to go to the hospital to recover. Is it possible that Belle is sick again or on yet another vacation? None of her supporters seem to know. Regardless, they feel betrayed and demand an explanation.

  • Bella Thorne throws shade at Tana Mongeau for ‘FaceTuning’ her photos – Dexerto

Bella Thorne throws shade at Tana Mongeau for ‘FaceTuning’ her photos Bella Thorne, Tana Mongeau – InstagramPopular YouTuber Tana Mongeau is no stranger to controversy, after her hyped up ‘TanaCon’ event in 2018 ended in disaster – but this time, Tana is coming under fire for a different reason, entirely, and this time, it’s from her own ex-girlfriend. “Shake it Up” actress and singer Bella Thorne made a guest appearance on Logan Paul’s ‘imPaulsive’ podcast on July 10, where she discussed her rough adolescence and Disney stardom – as well as Jake Paul’s current fiance, Tana Mongeau. However, this time the panel didn’t touch on Tana’s upcoming wedding: rather, Thorne threw some not-so-subtle shade toward her ex, who was sitting in the audience at the time of recording. Ex-Disney star Bella Thorne threw some major shade toward ex-girlfriend Tana Mongeau.https://www.instagram.com/p/ByIwlgOHbqf/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link Thorne was on the subject of editing one’s photos when Tana came up in the conversation, leading to a biting insult against her ex-girlfriend. “…with Instagram, they should really snap down – sorry Tana, on FaceTune – and Photoshop,” Thorne said. Despite Thorne’s harsh comment, Tana took the roast in stride, giving a good-natured laugh while she lougned on a beanbag chair as Maverick member Mike Majlack shouted, “Not like this! Not like this!” This wouldn’t be the first time Mongeau has come under fire for editing her pictures, either: a series of photos surfaced in late January showing Tana posing on a beach with friends – photos that were later speculated to be heavily Photoshopped, according to alleged “candids” taken of the YouTuber from different angles. https://www.metdaan.com/famous-youtuber-slammed-for-heavily-photoshopped-body/ Thorne’s lighthearted jab toward Tana may have also been the result of her engagement to Jake Paul, following her breakup with Thorne as well as her ex-boyfriend, Justin Beiber lookalike Brad Sousa, earlier in the year. Thorne herself posted a red-eyed selfie to Instagram following Tana’s surprise engagement, writing, “When your ex gets engaged” – complete with a series of sobbing emojis. While fans are doubtful that Mongeau’s engagement is real, many YouTubers across the space are also in the dark as to the legitimacy of her upcoming union, with personalities like David Dobrik and even Logan Paul worried that the “engagement” could be just a massive prank for Tana’s MTV show.

  • Bella Thorne shades YouTuber ex Tana Mongeau on Twitter – Dexerto

Bella Thorne shades YouTuber ex Tana Mongeau on Twitter Instagram: Bella Thorne/Tana MongeauAmid the release of her new song “Stupid F**king B***h,” Bella Thorne threw some serious shade towards her ex-girlfriend Tana Mongeau on Twitter. In a series of Tweets labelled #SFB (after her new song), Thorne claimed that Mongeau “wishes” she was her, and even accuses her ex of “bringing up [her] name for attention” in an attempt to be “relevant.” Tana, who described herself as being “bazoinked” by the whole situation, soon got wind of the drama and posted a few fiery Tweets of her own, as well as seemingly confirming that she was the titular “SFB” in Thorne’s song. Showing that size matters, Mongeau began by comparing her Twitter engagements to Thorne. Claiming that her Tweets get more favourites than Bella’s, she mocks her for being “worried about [her] legacy.” https://twitter.com/defnoodles/status/1340714094773485568 Referring to Thorne’s own controversy on OnlyFans, Mongeau then challenges Thorne to respond to her Tweets and to “promote sex workers like you promised.” Quipping that she must be “liv[ing] in [Thorne’s] head rent free,” Tana added: “Imagine taking the time to write, direct, and fund entire song about me called Stupid F**king B***h and also being Bella Thorne.” The YouTuber also retweeted supportive fans who noted that her own track, “Without You,” had a lot more streams than Thorne’s newest. Tana finished her rant by saying: “I’m honestly done being walked on and f**ked on by s**tty people and looking like the bad person. I’d rather go out exposing and swinging.” https://twitter.com/defnoodles/status/1340739801088053249 Thorne is yet to respond to these latest Tweets. This isn’t the first time the former girlfriends have found themselves at odds online. When Thorne collaborated with Clubhouse BH star Teala Dunn, the TikToker uploaded a video of the two kissing. Tana is obviously no stranger to throwing shade and fans will wonder if more is to come if Thorne responds to the latest beef.

  • Bella Poarch’s viral “M to the B” TikTok breaks record for most likes – Dexerto

Bella Poarch’s viral “M to the B” TikTok breaks record for most likes Instagram, @bellapoarch[jwplayer MDxzN19r] TikTok superstar Bella Poarch has officially earned the most likes on a TikTok video after cracking 30 million upvotes for bopping her head to Millie B’s “M to the B” track. Charli D’Amelio and Michael ‘JustMaiko’ Le may have more followers than Bella Poarch, but her “M to the B” video has vastly exceeded the likes anyone has ever received for a TikTok video. Poarch, a 19-year-old Filipina and U.S. Navy veteran who resides in Hawaii, uploaded her video on August 17. At the time of writing, it has 364.1 million views, 891.3 thousand comments, and, most importantly, a stunning 31.3 million likes. For context, the second-highest number of likes any video has achieved is around 25 million, posted by JustMaiko. TikTok’s top-five most liked videos Bella Poarch’s “M to the B,” 31.3 millions – JustMaiko’s escalator dancing, 25.5 million – Kison Kee’s milk slip, 23.5 million – The Rock and Kevin Hart’s best-friend check, 22.2 million – The Rock and Kevin Hart’s Christmas, 20.9 million – A variety of comments have levied attacks against the influencer, citing a lack of talent and expressing shock that such a simple video has so many views and likes. While it may be surprising, that’s what the internet is. Many more appreciate the video than hate on it, citing Poarch’s good vibes and calling the energy “satisfying.” Further, a look at everyone else who has used the sound proves why the content creator’s rendition is on a different level. Originally, “M to the B” was a video that went viral in niche communities, following a Noisey documentary, for being an entertaining look into the drama within the Blackpool grime scene. A sound using an iconic part of the song was posted on TikTok back in June and received millions of views. But it had no lasting power until Poarch coupled her look, which fans and peers describe as “cute” and “adorable,” with the unique track. Now, the sound boasts 4.7 million videos across TikTok, but no one’s come close to matching Poarch’s effortless lip-syncing and, vitally, her ability to actually bop her head to the song’s heavy bassline in rhythm. As seen in Madison Beer’s version, which itself has 5 million likes, hitting a UK grime bassline may not be second nature to most influencers. Beer is a musician and influencer with over 20 million Instagram followers, which Poarch’s 3.1 million pales in comparison to. But Poarch has 7.4 million more TikTok followers than Beer’s 12 million and the musician, like much of the internet, is a fan of the TikToker’s content. So are we Madison, so are we.

Just 19 days after it released, it’s been reported that the track has surpassed 50 million streams on Spotify, putting Bella Poarch up there with some of the most successful musicians of the current generation. • Bella Poarch wants to break the mold: From the Navy to TikTok – Dexerto

Bella Poarch wants to break the mold: From the Navy to TikTok Twitter, @bellapoarchFrom the slums and the Navy to TikTok and musical stardom, TikTok’s favorite trendsetter is on a warpath. With a new HyperX partnership, we had to interview Bella Poarch about the mindset that’s pushed her this far. Born in the “slums” of the Philippines, Bella Poarch lived an abusive life until she enrolled in the Navy at 18 years old. But despite that harrowing upbringing, she’s surged into the limelight as one of the biggest influencers in the world today. Poarch created the most-liked TikTok video of all time, scored a Warner Music record deal, and is one of the top-five most-followed creators on TikTok. With fellow Filipino-Americans Rachel ‘Valkyrae’ Hofstetter and Bretman Rock, Poarch has broken barriers at every turn these past couple years. Now, the multifaceted gamer, singer, streamer, influencer, and (more recently) magazine cover model is partnered with HyperX as a brand ambassador for their Quadcast S microphone. So we took the chance to ask her some questions. Bella Poarch interview: “Break the mold” https://twitter.com/bellapoarch/status/1448697587003838467 In terms of collaborations, Bella is best known for walking the Fenty runway and giving friends like Rae and Rock cameos in her music videos. But she’s working with HyperX now, and explained why the brand is one of her rare, more-corporate partnerships: “To be honest, I made a promise to myself to only align with brands that I love and are dope.” Fulfilling promises and remaining true to herself appear to be cornerstones of Poarch’s ethos. As a Filipino-American woman, we asked Bella if she has any advice for other minorities hoping to break into traditionally exclusionary fields. Her immediate response? “Break the mold.” https://twitter.com/bellapoarch/status/1457903468518076416 Going further, she elaborated that you can’t “let other people tell you what you’re going to be or do. That includes friends and even your family members. At the end of the day, do it because YOU love it. It’s your life.” And, specifically keying in on her own experiences, Poarch continued to speak on ignoring barriers: “I think the problem sometimes in Asian culture is that families tell kids what they’re going to be. Instead of letting kids find out what they want to be. “And I hope I can be an example as someone who has broken the mold.”

  • Bella Poarch teases debut single “Build a B*tch” – Dexerto

Bella Poarch teases debut single “Build a B*tch” YouTube: Bella PoarchIn the age of social media, more and more online influencers are breaking out into the mainstream — the latest of which is Bella Poarch, who has just teased her very first original song. Bella Poarch is arguably one of TikTok’s most popular content creators. In 2020, she went viral after her lip syncing video to Millie B’s ‘M to the B’ became the most-liked clip on the entire app, garnering over 31 million likes. Since then, Poarch has skyrocketed to internet stardom — and while fame doesn’t come without its caveats, it seems that her efforts have afforded her an unexpected career in the music industry. On April 30, Poarch posted a teaser for the music video of her very first song, aptly titled “Build a B*tch.” The short clip shows Bella Poarch’s disembodied head singing along to the song, comically mimicking the head-bobbing and nose-scrunching movements that made her viral ‘M to the B’ TikTok so popular. The lyrics touch on the ever-growing trend of people critiquing others’ appearances online: “This ain’t Build a B*tch / You don’t get to pick and choose / Different a** and bigger boobs / If my eyes are brown or blue,” the TikToker sings to a nursery-rhyme beat. The head is shown on a sort of workbench, while blurred figures walk busily to and fro in the background. May 14th. This isn’t Bella’s first stint in the music biz, either. In early March, Poarch featured in Sub Urban’s ‘Cirque’ music video, so it’s not a huge surprise that she’s gone on to start her own discography. Poarch isn’t even the first TikToker to start her own music career; both Addison Rae and Dixie D’Amelio, two huge names in the TikTok space, have also released their own original music, with more set to come in the near future. Thus far, it seems that Poarch is the latest TikToker to hop into music, and it looks like fans can’t wait to get her upcoming song to the top of the charts, already.
