Mr Beast gives Minecraft player $50,000 for building insane farm YouTube: Mr BeastHugely popular YouTuber Mr Beast has given the prize of a lifetime to a 17-year-old Minecraft player who made an incredible in-game farm as part of a YouTube video. Jimmy ‘Mr Beast’ Donaldson has become well known on social media for his entertaining videos with often quite bizarre concepts, along with the enormous prizes he gives to friends, fans, and strangers for participating in his content. He has previously enlisted his gigantic 46.4 million subscriber strong fan base to help him in charitable projects like Team Trees, and even previously bought a $600,000 island which he had his friends compete to win. More recently, Jimmy decided to launch a channel exclusively for gaming, playing games like GTA V, Among Us, and of course Minecraft, but with various high stakes twists. That channel alone has now accumulated 10.5 million subscribers in the short time since it launched. For this video, Jimmy challenged 100 Minecraft players to see who could build the most impressive farm within just an hour, with the prize for the best one set at a whopping $50,000. Minecraft players battle it out for the coolest farm It’s safe to say people were prepared to stretch their creativity to its limits for this challenge, and some of the most interesting farms included a giant Dr Phil shaped farm, some Among Us inspired setups, and even an amazing Team Trees inspired farm as an homage to Jimmy. Along with his friends, and a subscriber (who he also gave $10,000,) Mr Beast took the time to rate each farm, with the players managing to create some rather complex interiors in such a short time. However, the ultimate winner Crusty435 impressed Jimmy’s team with an intricate crop duster, a device used to water crops, that was suspended above a field of wheat. This player also had constructed an awesome looking windmill, which the team praised for its originality. Crusty was absolutely stunned when Mr Beast informed him that he’d won the huge sum of money, and the 17-year-old could be heard yelling “I need to tell my Dad, I need to tell my Dad.” Naturally for Mr Beast, the video has already scored over 5.5 million views within just a day of being posted, with people delighted for the lucky winner who secured the insane prize.

Mr Beast giving $10,000 to whoever can ‘ratio’ him the hardest – Dexerto
Mr Beast giving $10,000 to whoever can ‘ratio’ him the hardest Instagram: Mr BeastIn another wacky challenge, YouTuber Mr Beast has announced he will award $10,000 to whoever can ‘ratio’ him, or get the most likes in comparison to his tweet, with fandoms battling it out to have their fave crowned the winner. Jimmy Donaldson a.k.a Mr Beast is well known for his grand scale challenges. And with 45 million subscribers on YouTube, he certainly has the means to facilitate them, often partnering up with his huge audience to make great things happen. On the charitable front, one of Mr Beast’s most ambitious projects was ‘Team Trees,’ where he endeavored to raise the money required to plant 20,000,000 trees. He definitely succeeded, with over 500,000 unique users donating to the campaign. Among the philanthropy, Donaldson also previously set out to break some online records just for the fun of it. He set out to beat PewDiePie and have one of his videos become the most liked non-music video on YouTube. The video currently has a whopping 15 million likes. With that in mind, he set his Twitter followers the task of ‘ratio-ing’ his original tweet. To ‘ratio’ someone means either for the number of comments to far outweigh the likes (usually when something is controversial,) or in this case to far outweigh the likes of the original tweet. Essentially, you have to get more likes than Mr Beast himself. Tomorrow I’m going to give whoever ratios me the hardest on this tweet $10,000 — MrBeast (@MrBeast) October 23, 2020 Originally, it looked like popular YouTuber Corpse Husband was going to win the money thanks to his reply tweet of a simple smiley face. Alongside the rise of Among Us, Corpse has experienced a huge surge in popularity in recent months, and said that he would be donating 100% of the money if won to charity. Corpse has also confirmed that he will be giving the money to charity, should he win. Thank you to most of you on both sides of this being respectful and not toxic in regards to this. To clarify, since some were confused, 100% of it if I won would be going to charity. But it’s been really cool to see people support what they love and I wish everyone the best 🙂 https://t.co/2Mt6QiMUAV — Corpse Husband (@Corpse_Husband) October 24, 2020 However, just as it was looking as if Corpse would be sailing to victory unrivalled, a tweet from a BTS fan’s account saying “I know this is impossible but, If ever I win the funds will be directly donated to Funds for Bangtan and BorahaeFunds” began to pick up traction. I know this is impossible but, If ever I win the funds will be directly donated to @fundsforbangtan and @BorahaeFunds for @BTS_twt ‘BE’ album comeback. — ᴮᴱBTS History₇ (@BTS_History613) October 24, 2020 Their victory might not be as impossible as they first thought, with dedicated fans around the globe heading in droves to boost the tweet. Mr Beast even joked “Hey Kpop fans, you about to let Minecraft youtubers show you up like this? Are they the new biggest fan base?” Hey Kpop fans, you about to let Minecraft youtubers show you up like this? Are they the new biggest fan base? 🤪 — MrBeast (@MrBeastYT) October 24, 2020 The contest is now over, and Corpse Husband reclaimed the lead in the final hour to take the victory. TIME IS UP! @Corpse_Husband barely beat the BTS community and manage to win! He said he wanted his $10,000 donated to charity 🙂 pic.twitter.com/Rictjy076h — MrBeast (@MrBeast) October 24, 2020 But, because of the great effort all round, Mr Beast confirmed he was also giving $10,000 to the BTS fan page. So, in the end, everybody won.

Mr Beast gives Knicks fan $10,000 prize for epic half-court shot – Dexerto
Mr Beast gives Knicks fan $10,000 prize for epic half-court shot YouTube star and internet philanthropist Jimmy “Mr Beast” Donaldson wasn’t impressed by a New York Knicks fan’s prize for making an impressive half-court basket, and decided to pitch in himself. Mr Beast is known across social media as the internet’s “Good Samaritan,” using his status as a top YouTuber and his own brand deals to gift funds to everyone from waitresses to Twitch streamers and even pizza delivery men. However, the YouTuber took things to the next level via Twitter on January 11, after taking notice of a viral Tweet from Sports Center. The Tweet included a video of a Knicks fan popping off after making a jaw-dropping half-court shot during a break in a game, with his prize being $1,000 in scratch-off tickets. This Knicks fan was hyped to win $1,000 in scratchers with this half-court shot 💰🎉 pic.twitter.com/J815BM537c — SportsCenter (@SportsCenter) January 11, 2020 It doesn’t look like Mr Beast was too dazzled by the fan’s prize as he was his skills, though, as he went on to offer the man a whopping $10,000 for making the shot. “$1k in scratch off tickets?” Mr Beast Tweeted in reply. “Tell this man to dm me and I’ll send him $10,000 for hitting that shot.” $1k in scratch off tickets? Tell this man to dm me and I’ll send him $10,000 for hitting that shot ? — MrBeast (@MrBeastYT) January 11, 2020 Amid the jokes from his own crew that they were, in fact, the fan, the actual man in question managed to see the Tweet and replied to Mr Beast — leading to a hilarious conversation between the two. In response, APTheAngel sent the YouTuber a humorous video of himself, saying, “Here’s a video of me walking down the street. Do I look like the dude? I dunno, what kind of proof do you need?” https://twitter.com/APTheAngel/status/1216107339385798656?s=20 Luckily for the fan, it seems that he’s scored a major cash reward for his viral half-court victory — a much better prize in place of scratch-off tickets, although he has yet to confirm if he’s actually received Mr Beast’s $10k at the time of writing.

Mr Beast gives limitless credit card to strangers with emotional results – Dexerto
Mr Beast gives limitless credit card to strangers with emotional results MrBeast, YouTubeYouTube star Jimmy “Mr Beast” Donaldson is known for dropping huge chunks of change on unwitting bystanders, but his latest upload gave them the reigns to his entire bank account — with a secret twist. Hailed as YouTube’s biggest philanthropist, Mr Beast’s videos often feature the content creator tipping wait staff in gold bars, surprising college students with suitcases full of money, and even opening free car dealerships. However, his February 1 video saw him dole out a limitless credit card to complete strangers in random stores, with a catch — they were told to stay under the card’s unnamed limit (even though there wasn’t one). While the video featured the usual excitement from people being gifted free items, their social experiment got emotional after Donaldson pulled aside a man on the street, who he took into a nearby jewelry store to spend some change. This wasn’t any ordinary scenario, though: as it happens, the stranger’s mother is suffering from stage 4 cancer, and he hoped to gift her a few diamonds during her struggle against the disease. The stranger’s total was well below the $10k mark, which the jewelry dealer graciously marked down, as his own brother had also been taken by the illness. His haul came complete with a black diamond necklace and two pinky rings, prompting an emotional spiel thanking the YouTuber for his generosity. “I feel very blessed that I could do something for my mother, and that I could give something to her before she goes,” he explained. “And that matters to me the most.” (Segment begins at 7:05 for mobile readers) That wasn’t the end of the tears, either: one of Mr Beast’s assistants, Andrew, was also caught by the YouTuber’s squad, who completely purchased a new van he’d been considering buying in a used car lot. “I’m just really thrown,” Andre said, wiping tears from his eyes. “Keep doing what you’re doing, because you’re making a whole lot of people happy.” Tears are a normal part of Mr Beast’s content, thanks to his charitable exploits; but there’s no denying that the YouTuber is changing lives with nearly every upload.

Mr Beast gives away thousands in “impossible” Minecraft challenge – Dexerto
Mr Beast gives away thousands in “impossible” Minecraft challenge YouTube: MrBeast GamingHugely popular YouTuber MrBeast has given a fan $10,000 in a video where he challenged his friends and viewers to complete a practically impossible Minecraft parkour course. Jimmy ‘MrBeast’ Donaldson has been causing chaos over on his gaming channel recently, using the limitless possibilities of the gaming world to put people up to wild challenges to either win a fantastic, and often very high-value prize, or avoid an embarrassing punishment. In a recent Minecraft episode, Jimmy put 100 of his friends and fans up to a battle royale challenge, where he constructed 100 mini sky islands with limited resources and made people battle to the death by building bridges to each other’s bases. The challenge was chaotic and lava-filled, but the player who endured the challenge to the end won the $10,000 dollar Taco Bell gift card (despite never having been to Taco Bell.) This time around the YouTuber took his Minecraft chaos to a new level, and utilized what he described as “the hardest Minecraft parkour map in existence.” He waited till the game had begun to tell his viewers that the first person to complete the crazy map would win a whopping $10,000 dollars, sparking a renewed sense of motivation. As the players hopped across one-cube blocks hovering over a pit of lava, Mr Beasts’s friends tried to both meddle and “help” players by adding and removing blocks from creative mode, making the challenge even more impossible than before. Each round got progressively harder with the blocks getting further and further away, and Jimmy and his team made it even more difficult by giving the illusion that there would be a simple bridge to cross, before blowing it up once people were walking on it. The final course was “insanely hard,” with huge sky pillars you can only land on if you aim for the minuscule blocks of windows, and ladders that are stuck to the edges. Several people attempted the last level unsuccessfully, which led to Jimmy calling gaming YouTuber Technoblade to see if he could complete it, and the ridiculously hard obstacle course was even too difficult for him. Eventually, player Kundvagn landed on the final platform and was declared the winner of the almost impossible parkour course, and the $10,000 prize.

Mr Beast gives first look at insane $700,000 private island – Dexerto
Mr Beast gives first look at insane $700,000 private island YouTube: Mr BeastAfter having spent one million dollars on lottery tickets to fund an island for a ‘Survivor’-type event, Mr Beast has revealed the first look at his private island. Mr Beast, real name Jimmy Donaldson, is never far from another large scale video stunt. On August 8, he uploaded a video titled “I Spent $1,000,000 on Lottery Tickets and WON,” with the volume of tickets so high that a truck was needed to transport them all. Although he did technically win, he only made back $720,971 of the million that he spent. But that didn’t halt his plan, planning on buying the best island he could for the money that he received. He announced in the video that the 10 volunteers that were scanning in the huge number of lottery cards, would be the candidates in a ‘Survivor’-type event. This will comprise the third part of his video series, and see the volunteers compete to win the island itself. In the second part of the series, uploaded on August 13, fans got a glimpse of what this event will end up looking like as Mr Beast shows off the $700,000 island for the first time. Once on the island, the team are shocked at the sheer scale of it, Jimmy said: “When I bought this island I had no idea it was this big.” According to the video it is “nearly four football fields long.” They set themselves the challenge of staying on the island (that they named Jeff) for 24 hours, and come nightfall they even explored the caves that were made accessible after the tide went in. The island seems like it will make for an exciting finale, with an interesting landscape and wildlife including wild pigs. The last person to leave ‘Jeff’ will be deemed the winner, and as a prize will become the owner of the island. The final video of the series is expected on August 15, and will be viewable on Mr Beast’s YouTube channel.

Since exploding in popularity in 2019, Mr Beast has been well renowned on YouTube for videos where he gives away crazy prizes to his friends, fans, and even just random strangers. No matter what he’s giving away, be it a private island worth $700,000 or just $10,000 in a Minecraft building challenge, each and every one of his videos end up on the Trending tab and rack up millions of views just hours after going live. Even though most of his recent videos have centered around rewarding his friends and family, he’s managed to change the life of some of his most loyal viewers with an incredible subscriber giveaway. In his newest video, uploaded August 22, Mr Beast got some of his subscribers together and rewarded them without putting each one of them through an ultra-difficult task as he usually does. One subscriber was asked to choose between a new house and a Lamborghini – he chose the house. Another was challenged with holding onto a bar for as long as possible, and another just had to show off what Mr Beast videos he had watched recently. He did have one physically demanding challenge though, tasking one fan with opening a safe. After they did so, they were rewarded with two diamonds and $10,000 cash – meaning he walked away with $25,000. All in all, Mr Beast gave away a three-bedroom house and close to $135,000 to his subscribers and friends. So, it pays to be a subscriber – literally. Mr Beast gives away Teslas for Rogue Company wins – Dexerto
Mr Beast gives away Teslas for Rogue Company wins Tesla/Hi-Rez/YouTube: Mr BeastForever finding new ways to share his wealth, Jimmy ‘Mr Beast’ Donaldson offered his friends a new Tesla each — just for winning matches of Hi-Rez’s new first-person shooter Rogue Company. [jwplayer sA2HNTXQ] Mr Beast is among the most popular creators on YouTube, with over 60 million subscribers across his channels, with some of his biggest videos being those where he does huge giveaways, be it money, cars, or even a private island. Always thinking outside the box, though, Jimmy decided to turn his Rogue Company-sponsored video into yet another giveaway — and he made it a big one. At the start of the video, Mr Beast explains that as part of the sponsored video, he will give away a Tesla to each of his friends based on the Rogue Company matches they win. The first game of the series was for Chandler to win one, the second for Chris, and the third and final matchup of their four-man roster was to win a Tesla for Karl. The first match was a piece of cake for Beast and co., winning 7-0 to earn Chandler his Tesla, the first to be given away. The second game was a quick loss, meaning Chris missed out on the new car, before the final match went the team’s way once again, with Karl winning the second Tesla given away in the video. Obviously, it’s hard enough to maintain focus and not let nerves get the better of you when you’re trying your hardest to win in any game, but when you know you’re possibly getting a brand new Tesla worth tens of thousands of dollars, we can only imagine the pressure ramps up a bit. Needless to say, everyone wants a friend like Mr Beast, especially if it means free cars just for winning in a video game.

Mr Beast gives away $20,000 in epic Fall Guys challenge – Dexerto
Mr Beast gives away $20,000 in epic Fall Guys challenge YouTube: Mr BeastIn his latest high stakes video over on his newer gaming channel, Jimmy “Mr Beast” Donaldson challenged his friends to a game of Fall Guys, the winner looking to take away a huge sum of $20,000. On his main channel, Mr Beast has made a name for himself by creating videos that usually involve extremely large sums of money, with a crazy challenge to accompany it. Earlier in August he bought a $700,000 dollar island, and had a team of volunteers compete to see who could stay on the island the longest, the ultimate prize being the island itself. Aside from the craziness, he is also well known for being generous when it comes to his wealth and uses it to help out those in need, whether that be his close friends, or total strangers. In this video, he and his friends embark on a high stakes challenge, playing the immensely popular battle royale game, Fall Guys. The game has been so popular that the player demand well exceeded the developer’s server capacity. Each playing to win the money for their own individual goal, Jimmy, Carl, and Chris set off on their challenge to qualify each round to get closer to the jackpot. The first time around, Jimmy ended up getting eliminated only a few rounds in, when he took his friend’s advice to “not spam jump” a little too literally and got swept away by a rolling log. The other two followed not long after when Chris got stuck on a barrier and fell off the platform, and Carl got knocked away in a Jump Showdown. In attempt number two, Jimmy got eliminated first once again, and another round of Jump Showdown saw the players whittled down to just Carl and Chris. Eventually, Chris was eliminated and Carl won the $20,000 to put towards his sister’s wedding. With the crazy content amping up over on Mr Beast Gaming, fans eagerly await his next high stakes video game challenge.

Mr Beast gives away $90,000 Lamborghini in crazy racing challenge – Dexerto
Mr Beast gives away $90,000 Lamborghini in crazy racing challenge MrBeast (YouTube)YouTube star and internet philanthropist Jimmy “Mr Beast” Donaldson has wowed audiences with yet another insane challenge video, giving away an entire Lamborghini sports car as the prize — with an insane catch. Mr Beast is known far and wide across the net for his viral videos, where he gives away huge amounts of cash to unsuspecting bystanders in creative ways. However, he’s equally as popular for his humorous challenge videos, tasking his friend group (or random strangers) with impossible tasks for the prize of thousands — and sometimes millions — of dollars. Mr Beast turned his content up a notch on February 8, unveiling a challenge unlike any he’s done before. Rather than seeing how long his friends can stand up or keep their hand on an object, he tasked them with racing across his city in a hilarious obstacle course. Their mode of transportation? Lamborghinis, Italian-made luxury cars known for their sleek look and expensive price point. Mr Beast promised the winner of his obstacle course challenge one of these vehicles, requiring three of his friends to race across the city to complete various tasks before any of their counterparts. Mr Beast’s list of tasks included such ridiculous requirements as swimming five laps in a public pool, axe-throwing, taking photos with strangers in front of their cars, and even reading the entire “Shrek” movie script out loud. Of course, Mr Beast couldn’t conduct a challenge without a little philanthropy, and even made his buddies buy flowers for complete strangers — leading to some pleasantly surprised reactions from the baffled recipients. Despite the chaos, the YouTuber’s crew seemed to thoroughly enjoy racing around in the Lambos, with Chris exclaiming, “We’re in Lambos racing and revving across the city. Who else is doing it like this?” In the end, Chris ultimately scored the grand prize after successfully scoring a field goal in an empty football stadium. “This is my dream come true,” Chris admitted upon his victory, and even called his parents to deliver the good news. The $90,000 car was even completely paid off, giving an extremely happy end to one of Mr Beast’s most expansive challenge videos to date.

Mr Beast gives away $10k in most ridiculous Minecraft challenge yet – Dexerto
Mr Beast gives away $10k in most ridiculous Minecraft challenge yet Mr Beast, YouTube / MojangYouTube star Jimmy ‘Mr Beast’ Donaldson has given away another massive prize worth $10,000 to one random player in his latest Minecraft survival challenge. Mr Beast is one of the biggest content creators on YouTube and is well known for his generosity, giving hundreds of thousands of dollars away to strangers in some of his past uploads. During his latest video on his gaming channel, Mr Beast Gaming, the YouTuber revealed that he would be hosting a bizarre Minecraft challenge with a whopping $10,000 Subway gift card up for grabs. In one of his most ridiculous challenges yet, Mr Beast explained that this survival challenge would have plenty of interesting twists and turns before the winner was decided. While it appeared to start off as a regular Minecraft ‘Hunger Games’ match, Mr Beast did not tell those participating that, instead of the border closing in on them from all sides, lava would begin to fill the map from down below. This secret change seemed to catch plenty of players off-guard, after many of them immediately trekked down to the mines, in an attempt to gear up with diamond armor and equipment. Mr Beast, who was spectating all of the action from above, would also spice things up by dropping rare pieces of equipment in front of a group to incentivize more fights. In another twist, the YouTuber shared that the final player standing would not win anything, and that the full $10,000 Subway gift card would go to the person in 2nd place instead. The final stage of the challenge was extremely close, with the last few players all falling into the lava at the exact same time. It was AltirixGaming though, the one who managed to claim the $10,000 prize. Mr Beast has hosted other unique challenges on the sandbox title, such as his recent video where he gathered more players for an epic $50,000 Minecraft building competition.

Mr Beast finally releases video he waited 5 years to upload – Dexerto
Mr Beast finally releases video he waited 5 years to upload YouTube: Mr BeastOne of YouTube’s most popular creators, MrBeast, has released a video that he scheduled 5 years ago where he states his hopes for the future of his content career, warming the hearts of his many fans. Jimmy ‘MrBeast’ Donaldson has established himself as a huge creator on YouTube. His high budget videos and generosity towards friends, fans, and strangers has won him an enormous subscriber base, and as more subscribers roll in he is able to invest in bigger and more extravagant projects. He dishes out awards as big as $10,000 just for completing a challenge in Minecraft, and has given subscribers the choice between a house and a car as a gift. Plus, he infamously bought an actual island worth around $700,00, allowing friends and fans to compete to win the insane prize. But Jimmy has not always been the colossal YouTuber MrBeast as we know him today. He started posting videos way back in 2013 at the age of just 12. He certainly had big ideas even at a young age, and filmed and scheduled several videos to be released years in the future as a way to track his progress. We’ve seen a 6 month, and a two-year update, but this most recent of the “Hi Me” series is by far the most long-awaited for Jimmy, who said on Twitter “I’ve waited 1,824 days to upload tomorrow’s video,” a whole 5 years. It’s a video I filmed when I had 8,000 subscribers and scheduled uploaded 5 years in the future. Tomorrow is the big day! — MrBeast (@MrBeast) October 3, 2020 In the video he says “at the time of recording this video I have 8,000 subscribers, and 1.8 million views. It’s currently October 4th 2015. I’m probably like a freaking grown man when you see this. I’m still in high school right now.” At one particularly satisfying moment he declares, “if I don’t have a million subscribers when you see this video, my entire life has been a failure. I hope I have a million subs.” It’s safe to say that Jimmy reached his ultimate goal, now with over 44 million subscribers on his main channel, and a further 8 million on his gaming channel. He even expresses his hope that once he finishes college he’d “hopefully, maybe” be doing YouTube as his full-time job, a further testament to his dedicated mindset. The video has certainly been a reminder to fans of how far MrBeast has come in a relatively short amount of time, and at the age of only 22, there’ll undoubtedly be much more to come from the much-loved YouTuber.

Mr Beast ‘gifts’ 1 million YouTube subs after insane 33-hour challenge – Dexerto
Mr Beast ‘gifts’ 1 million YouTube subs after insane 33-hour challenge MrBeast (YouTube)YouTube star Jimmy ‘MrBeast’ Donaldson has topped his usual antics, by giving a subscriber over one million subscribers after completing an insane 33-hour challenge. Mr Beast is YouTube’s answer to a philanthropist. Having donated over one million dollars worth of food to food banks in the United States and setting up multiple families with homes — among a long list of crazy challenges — the YouTuber isn’t shy of dishing out the cash. But as part of his most recent challenge, the YouTuber wasn’t offering a cash prize per se. Instead, he was offering the winner free promotion of their YouTube channel. So it’s perhaps fitting that, in order to earn recognition for their channel, that the challenge revolved around latching onto Mr Beast’s very own Diamond Play Button. Four ‘small’ YouTubers, last one to let go wins… Sounds simple, right? Mr Beast’s Gold Play Button challenge Being a Mr Beast challenge, of course there were some added ‘complications’ during the challenge. After all four of the contestants were firmly holding their ground, Karl Jacobs’ car had to pay the price as bait — and it worked a treat, as one of the YouTubers took their hand off the glass pane in a moment of madness. After increasing the height of the Diamond Play Button’s box off the ground, the three remaining contenders had to hold onto both a Silver and Gold Play Button with their other hand, while also standing behind a duct tape line. 31 hours into the challenge, the third YouTuber stepped over the tape and was therefore disqualified. Two hours later, the second was also disqualified for the same reason. Leaving the winner, Zealous, with his grand prize — a whopping 33 hours after starting the challenge. Before the video went live, Zealous had a sizable 49,900 subscribers on his YouTube channel. Since then, he’s gained over 1.5 million subscribers, and is currently sitting on 1.65 million at the time of writing. Read more: When is Ninja returning to streaming? – While the challenge was no doubt gruelling, Zealous is now reaping the reward and is well on his way to hitting over two million subscribers. The other YouTubers didn’t walk away empty handed, though, since the two that surpassed the 30-hour mark were gifted $10,000 in cash for their efforts.

MrBeast explains why he locked himself in a prison cell for 24 hours – Dexerto
MrBeast explains why he locked himself in a prison cell for 24 hours YouTube sensation Jimmy ‘MrBeast’ Donaldson has revealed why he locked himself in a prison cell for 24 hours for a YouTube video. Donaldson, alongside friends Chandler, Chris and Garrett, headed into a jail cell for a full day, with the guys going through some tough conditions, including getting only six crackers and a bottle of water for their first meal, and trying to use the bathroom in front of each other. The foursome were all locked in a tiny cell together, with four metal beds bolted into the wall, and one toilet for the whole cast to share. The video uploaded to MrBeast’s YouTube channel begins with Donaldson getting arrested by someone pretending to be a police officer for “failing to upload three videos a week,” with the YouTuber pleading that he thought two was pretty good. This led to Donaldson and his friends being sentenced to 24 hours in jail for “an easy video.” While time progressed, the boys were able to order in food so they could eat normally, and eventually began calling their parents and loved ones pretending they were really in prison. All four managed to last the full 24 hours, with Donaldson’s friend Chris claiming that the stint in jail was “the worst thing he had ever done in his entire life.” MrBeast has become well known for his elaborate videos, including a recent challenge where he gathered 12 YouTubers and offered $100,000 to the person who could stand inside a massive red circle the longest. Donaldson has also been a huge supporter of PewDiePie in his fight against T-Series to remain the most subscribed to channel on YouTube, even going as far as to buy billboards around his city urging people to subscribe to the Swede’s channel.

Mr Beast explains why he won’t replace young streamer’s destroyed PC – Dexerto
Mr Beast explains why he won’t replace young streamer’s destroyed PC Popular YouTuber Jimmy ‘Mr Beast’ Donaldson has explained why he won’t be replacing the destroyed PC of a child who was tricked by an impersonator. The streamer, known on the site as rogue07, was playing and broadcasting Fortnite from his $1,200 PC, when a Twitch user appeared in his chat pretending to be Donaldson. The account claimed that if the child destroyed his PC, they would send him a brand new computer worth $5,000. Rogue07, believing this to be Mr Beast, proceeded to destroy his computer in a bathtub, before finding out that the Twitch user was a hoax account. Since then, many have wondered if the YouTuber would offer to replace the PC for the child, as Mr Beast is well known for his generosity. This will not be the case, as Donaldson released a statement to Daniel ‘KEEMSTAR’ Keem explaining that he wouldn’t be able to buy the child a new PC, and why couldn’t do it. “I feel bad about it,” wrote Mr Beast. “But unfortunately I don’t want to replace it and start a trend of people breaking things in hope of me fixing it.” “If Twitch would simply verify me, this would all be fixed. I’ve gotten hundreds of millions of views from donating to people on their platform, so it makes no sense not to.” For the YouTuber, publically replacing the child’s computer may put him in a difficult situation, as some may attempt to take advantage of his giving spirit to profit off of him, and could also paint him in a bad light to some fans if another viewer fell for this trick and Mr Beast declined to fix it. While Mr Beast will not be replacing the destroyed PC, the streamer’s mother posted on Twitter to confirm that she would be “fixing the situation.” As stupid as it looks to most of you- my son and his friends thought this was some guy they follow- it wasn’t. We screwed up his PC- and it’s up to mama to fix the situation. That’s it! No need for all the videos and awful comments :smirk: — Nichole Nasiatka (@wifee88) January 31, 2019

Mr Beast destroys brother’s house with “elephant toothpaste” foam prank Mr Beast YouTubeMr Beast took a playful science experiment with ‘elephant toothpaste’ and turned it into a monstrous explosion to destroy his brother’s house, with the help of foam master and fellow YouTuber, Mark Rober. As someone who’s mangled his fair share of houses, Mr Beast is no stranger to the best ways of ruining multiple rooms at once. This time, he targeted his own brother CJ ‘MrBro’ Donaldson, who was in the middle of trashing another house belonging to someone in their crew. The ‘prank-ception’ was primarily aimed at CJ, seeing as Mr Beast recruited Rober, who had just got done completing world record foam videos himself – which were about to be outdone by Beast’s twisted mind. After successfully distracting the homeowner, Mr Beast filled CJ’s house with barrels containing a grand total of 500 gallons of Hydrogen peroxide, almost double of Rober’s world-record feat. “Yeah, I think windows will get broken,” Rober said, as the entire crew prepared to let the ‘fuse’ rip from a safe distance. The collective buried gallons of the chemicals throughout the house’s rooms including the living room, his bedroom and bathroom with enough material to really do some damage. With CJ in tow, Mr Beast put in the call to let the chemical reaction go off, and the ensuing mayhem even surprised the people who formulated the prank. In mere seconds, every inch of the booby-trapped structure was filled with green foam. Ovens, home decor, and beds all fell victim to the engulfing surge of foam that sprang to life once Rober got the signal. One of the most enjoyable details of the prank was the steady stream of steam that instantly shot out from the chimney caused by the massive chain reaction of chaos inside. Once everything settled, CJ and the crew could barely open any of the doors before they were met with a cloudy burst of green sludge that was still developing from inside. Of course, Mr Beast pranks wouldn’t be complete if it wasn’t immediately followed up by an extravagant gift to make up for it, which came in the form of a new house to replace CJ’s ruined one. Although, if anything is clear about Mr Beast and his antics, the YouTuber is probably already devising how to ruin his brother’s new house in a more destructive manner.

Mr Beast explains why he admires PewDiePie more than other YouTubers – Dexerto
Mr Beast explains why he admires PewDiePie more than other YouTubers YouTube: 100 Thieves / PewDiePieDuring an October 29 podcast, Jimmy ‘Mr Beast’ Donaldson revealed why he respects Felix ‘PewDiePie’ Kjellberg so much. The rising star explained why the Swede is the perfect person to be YouTube’s most subscribed content creator. [jwplayer smynPnSq] Mr Beast’s rise on YouTube has been swift, as the 22-year-old saw an explosion in subscribers in 2019. Despite being the site’s latest sensation, the young philanthropist has often shared his love for the platform’s most subscribed individual – PewDiePie. In an interview with Matthew ‘Nadeshot’ Haag in October, Donaldson opened up about his deep admiration for the entertainer. The star also explained why he wouldn’t ever want to pass Kjellberg in numbers. Mr Beast explains why he admires PewDiePie During the hour-long sit down, Mr Beast touched on subjects ranging from his obsession with YouTube, to TikTok’s future on the platform. The star also explained his deep love for PewDiePie and why he looks up to him so much. “I appreciate how humble he is. Literally. I’m not gonna say names, but I think you can think of quite a few YouTubers, if they were in his position, that would just be arrogant and just be a giant p**ck,” he said. Nadeshot then joked that Pewds was “giant” and referenced his recent body transformation. Laughing, Donaldson continued, “As if he wasn’t already big enough on YouTube. I just think it’s the fact that he’s humble at that big of a size, when it would be very easy to be a p**ck.” (Topic starts at 36:30) The star wouldn’t say if he thought he would one day surpass the YouTuber in numbers, but explained that he didn’t want to. “I want to get one subscriber behind him. Get me there!” he joked. Mr Beast has never been shy of his love for Kjellberg. In 2019 he helped lead the ‘Sub2PewDiePie’ campaign, and even pulled off a stunt at the Super Bowl promoting the content creator in front of millions of viewers. Without a doubt, the 22-year-old has become YouTube’s next sensation. Despite his sudden rise of fame, Donaldson continues to pay respects to PewDiePie, who he has often cited as an inspiration for his career.

Mr Beast claims he could have made the Logan Paul & Sidemen collab even better – Dexerto
Mr Beast claims he could have made the Logan Paul & Sidemen collab even better Instagram: MrBeast / Instagram: sidemenAfter seeing the Logan Paul and Sidemen YouTube collaboration, Mr Beast claims he could have helped them with a viral content idea to soar past “100 million views.” Following weeks of speculation, we finally know why Logan Paul and his crew traveled to England. The main reason was to film a segment for the “overhyped” KSI show. However, he was also involved in a few other YouTube videos during his time overseas. An episode of the Impaulsive podcast saw Paul and KSI squash their beef, while a new Sidemen video saw them compete in ‘extreme fishing.’ It’s the latter that internet sensation Mr Beast took issue with. While the KSI episode of Impaulsive “will be number one” in 2021, Paul said, the Sidemen Sunday episode could have been much better, according to Mr Beast. While playing a game of online poker with a few other social media stars, Paul had a brief discussion with Mr Beast. “[He] was laughing at us,” Paul joked in the latest episode of his podcast. “He’s like, damn you were collabing with the Sidemen and all you guys did was go fishing? If you would have asked me, I would have given you a video that got 100 million views.” Given the history between Paul and KSI, and the potential for a collab video all these years later, to see them just fishing left Mr Beast disappointed. “It was weird that we went fishing,” co-host Georg Janko even agreed. There’s no telling what this potential 100 million view idea may have been. Though there’s no denying Mr Beast’s involvement would only have helped. Despite the criticism, the fishing video has already hit 14 million views in its first week. This makes it one of the Sidemen’s top five most-viewers videos thus far in 2021. “No matter what we did in the UK, whatever that crossover looked like, it would have gone to the moon,” Paul said confidently. But we’ll all be left speculating what could have been if Mr Beast was involved.

Mr Beast considering running for U.S. President “one day” – Dexerto
Mr Beast considering running for U.S. President “one day” Instagram: Mr Beast / Pixabay: Angelique Johnson[jwplayer mgzBNoPb]It’s election season in the United States, and with all the political talk and debate currently running rampant in the country, citizens are considering all manner of options for future leaders — including some internet superstars. Following the Presidential debate on September 29, the discourse surrounding American politics is at an all-time high, drawing discussion from everyone, from the average Twitter user to even high-profile celebrities. Putting his own two cents into the mix on social media was none other than YouTube star Jimmy “Mr Beast” Donaldson, who is known for his charitable acts of kindness — which generally include giving away thousands of dollars to people in need. From everything to tipping wait staff in actual gold bars to buying a pizza delivery driver an entire new house, there’s few things Mr Beast won’t do to make the world a better place, which is even stated in his Twitter bio. https://www.instagram.com/p/B-P-3bwhQnF/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link Hoping to “make the world a better place before I die,” Mr Beast truly walks the walk and talks the talk — but could his penchant for philanthropy extend to political leadership? In a surprising Tweet on September 29, the YouTuber expressed an interest in running for U.S. President, although he clarified that this would be sometime in the distant future, as he’s currently on 22 years old and “stupid.” “Seeing how divided America is makes want to consider running for President one day (very far in the future, currently I’m stupid),” he wrote. “But I also have ‘6969420’ in my name atm from a Minecraft scavenger hunt, so I doubt anyone would ever take me serious lmao.” Let’s just give everyone $1,000,000. That should fix most our problems! — MrBeast (@MrBeast) September 30, 2020 Donaldson followed up his humorous Tweet with another joke that alludes to his habit of giving away cash: “Let’s just give everyone $1,000,000. That should fix most our problems!” While it’s certainly true that money can solve quite a few issues for many people, running a country is an entirely different ball of wax; but thankfully, Mr Beast seems well aware of this fact, even though his intentions are in the right place. Who knows? Maybe he will actually get into politics in the future, but for now, it’s just a thought — albeit an interesting one.

Mr Beast calls on Reddit to help make millions off “risky” $100k gamble – Dexerto
Mr Beast calls on Reddit to help make millions off “risky” $100k gamble Instagram: Mr BeastJimmy ‘Mr Beast’ Donaldson isn’t a stranger to putting his money where his mouth is. However, this time, he’s enlisted Reddit community WallStreetBets to help him make millions off a “super risky” stock market investment. If you haven’t heard of /r/WallStreetBets on Reddit, then you’ve been missing out. The million-user strong community is full of armchair stock market analysts sharing their big wins and losses, with a dash of memes on the side. The intrigue of the community has caught the eye of Mr Beast, who is no stranger to throwing tons of money at something. While usually it’s for a charitable cause, this time, he’s in it for the thrill. Mr Beast is putting $100,000 on the line in the stock market, and he wants the pundits at WallStreetBets to invest it for him. Posting from an account named ‘MrBeast100kinvest,’ the YouTuber stated that he would put six figures into whatever Reddit chooses for him as an investment. How is he going to choose? He’s simply going to invest in the top reply. “I will invest $100,000 into whatever is the top reply in a week. I want a super risky investment. Give me something so crazy that I have like a 2% chance of it working but if it does I make millions,” he said in his post. Since putting out the call to action, over 11,000 comments have been made on the thread, and that number is only going up by the hour. Some of the suggestions being thrown out there are “calls on oil futures,” putting money in American Airlines, AMD, and even three stocks that spell out Mr Beast — MR (Montage Resources), B (Barnes), and EAST (Eastside Distilling). It’s one of the most popular posts on the subreddit of all time — a feat considering some of the rather interesting investments others have made in the past. The mods of the subreddit did have to put out a disclaimer, asking its users to “invest responsibly” and to not follow the advice blindly. They also condemned Mr Beast’s promise to compensate the Redditor who he takes advice from, stating it is illegal under U.S. law. “Investing money in the stock market is inherently risky and we do not recommend following trades such as this. We are condemning the illegal nature for investment advice to individuals who are not registered under the U.S. Investment Advisers Act of 1940,” they said. While it’s unlikely Mr Beast will succeed, if all things pan out well, he could become the next king of the WallStreetBets community – he certainly has the cash.

Mr Beast celebrates 4th of July with mind-blowing $600k fireworks show – Dexerto
Mr Beast celebrates 4th of July with mind-blowing $600k fireworks show YouTube: Mr Beast[jwplayer h3XPfMqQ]Popular YouTuber Jimmy ‘Mr Beast’ Donaldson celebrated the 4th of July with a fireworks show worth over $600k. The 22-year old philanthropist acquired a world record-breaking explosive that lit up the entire sky. While many know Mr Beast for his jaw-dropping money giveaways, the YouTuber is associated with going big in his videos. And to celebrate America’s July holiday, the star spared no expense to put on the ultimate fireworks display. Heading out to a remote location, the content creator and his friends blew up hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of pyrotechnics. However, the final explosive was worth over $160k and was literally the size of multiple mortars. Mr Beast puts on insane fireworks show During his July 3 upload, the YouTuber revealed he had bought fireworks ranging from $1 all the way to an eye-popping $160k. In total, he spent over $600,000 and promised viewers “every single firework will be launched!” While the group started off small, things really kicked off when they launched a $10k mortar. “This next firework is the most epic thing you have ever seen! This mortar weighs 160 pounds. We even had to get FAA clearance to light this. There can’t be planes in the sky,” he revealed. “This looks like a nuke!” they screamed, as the massive explosion lit up the sky. Mr Beast also got creative, strapping 100 rockets to a dummy, and setting a car on fire. Sitting behind a bulletproof glass window, they even set off a firework by nuking it with a microwave. The 22-year old then prepared to launch a $40k firework display, explaining, “I could have bought a car, I could have put a down payment on a house. Or I could have bought 10 thousand copies of Shrek.” He then revealed the pyrotechnics contained over 9,000 shells. Using a turn key safety console, the YouTube star launched the explosion, painting the entire night sky white with a flash. The massive display stunned everyone. “I’m terrified! I thought I was gonna die!” Mr Beast exclaimed. One of his friends yelled “How are we not in jail?” For the grand finale, the popular personality brought out the $160k firework. “We are about the launch the largest firework that man’s history has ever seen. Literally a world record. Four thousand pounds, 15 feet deep holes, we literally needed a forklift!” he said before setting it off. The explosion was so loud, it rocked the entire area. (Topic starts at 7:41.) While Mr Beast originally launched his channel in 2012, the YouTuber exploded in popularity in 2018 and 2019. Last year, he was the platform’s biggest rising star, gaining over 16 million subscribers. Whether he’s running outrageous contests with his friends, or hosting incredible charity work, the creator is always looking for how to take it to the next level. And viewers can’t get enough of it.

Mr Beast brings flood victims to tears with circle money challenge – Dexerto
Mr Beast brings flood victims to tears with circle money challenge Mr Beast, YouTubeYouTube star and internet philanthropist Mr Beast is known for giving out insane amounts of cash and orchestrating impossible challenges — and this time, he combined the two for a good cause. Jimmy “Mr Beast” Donaldson is one of YouTube’s most popular content creators, boasting over 31.5 million subscribers thanks to his outrageous content and generous cash giveaways. However, the social media celebrity is also hailed for his jaw-dropping acts of charity, having planted 20 million trees with his “Team Trees” project and even opening free car dealerships and banks for families in need. This time, the YouTuber put a twist on his usual content: he partnered up with a local soup kitchen, families in need, and even random strangers with a unique challenge that tasked them with putting however many items they wanted inside a circle of unknown size. If their items fit inside the circle, they would get to keep their haul. If not, their goodies would go back on the shelf — but, of course, Mr Beast is a generous content creator, who gave some special privileges to those in need during his video. To start his charitable donation, Mr Beast challenged a local soup kitchen with fitting as much food as they could inside of a huge circle in a grocery store. After expanding their circle just a bit to fit all the goods, the YouTuber even donated a whopping $20k to the org, as promised in his luxury food taste-testing upload a week earlier. That’s not all: he went on to help an elderly couple whose home had been hit by a flood, replacing their ruined furniture with $25k worth of new pieces, which the group somehow managed to fit inside his duct taped circle. That’s not even the most emotional part of his video: the tears began to flow after Mr Beast gifted two women in need a whopping $10k in home goods, and even wrote a $10k check to go towards a new car and various medical expenses. “I cannot believe this,” one of the women said through tears. “Nobody has ever helped me this much in my life. I waited all my life… I’m about to have a heart attack.” The star went on to donate to an elementary school baseball team, an organization for people with learning disabilities, and even helped his friend stock up supplies for his baby – a surprising continuation, considering his video was completely unsponsored, leaving him to foot the bill. This latest video marks yet another stunning act of charity from one of YouTube’s biggest personalities, which ended in a price point of over $100,000.

Mr Beast buys private island with $1 million in lottery tickets – Dexerto
Mr Beast buys private island with $1 million in lottery tickets Mr Beast YouTubeYouTube’s most celebrated spender Jimmy ‘Mr Beast’ Donaldson recruited the help of 10 people to scratch and scan through $1 million worth of lottery tickets, with a surprise twist to the day. The YouTuber told his team that he wanted to see if the rewards from the mountains of lotto tickets would break even or exceed the amount of money that they spent on them in the first place. The amount of tickets was ludicrous; there were so many that a garbage truck was commissioned to transfer all of the tickets so they could start rifling through them. With his team each set up with ever-flowing stacks of tickets, they started to chip away at the thousands of pages filled with potential winnings that could have reached anywhere above $10,000,000. As the collective of excited scanners set off, Mr Beast told them that if they did manage to eclipse $10 million that everyone would get 10 percent of the earnings. Progressing through the first $20,900 of the pile, their tracker indicated they had only earned $13,707 of their original money back. Though this isn’t a disparity the YouTuber is sweating, the experiment was slowly starting to show a trend. After going over $300,00 of lottery tickets, the group only made around $224,000, so the ruse was keeping up as Mr Beast was plotting something behind closed doors. Essentially, the money he is getting from the lottery stubs is funding an island that his crew are going to be fighting over. The ambitious YouTuber revealed that he’s going to stage a ‘Survivor’-type of event featuring his team of 10 helpers as contestants vying for the island. With the amount of money they were able to collect, he is making the $700,000 island the grand prize for the sudden competition. Mr Beast has been on sort of a YouTube hiatus working on the “biggest stuff I’ve ever done” and the results are now starting to show. He’s in the middle of what will be a three-part series, with the next videos showing off the event and ultimately the winner of the island.

MrBeast hands out $120k to top two Finger on the App competitors – Dexerto
MrBeast hands out $120k to top two Finger on the App competitors Instagram: mrbeastYouTube star and viral internet philanthropist Jimmy ‘MrBeast’ Donaldson handed out a whopping $120,000 to the final two ‘Finger on the App 2’ challenge competitors. MrBeast has become one of the internet’s most popular figures over the past few years, largely in part due to his huge (and often incredibly expensive) projects that answer our most pressing questions: What happens if you microwave a microwave, after all? From advertising PewDiePie’s channel at the Super Bowl to opening a free car dealership for people in need, MrBeast has gone above and beyond for his 48 million subscribers — and he’s doing it again by bringing back one of his most popular challenges. Mr Beast announces Finger on the App 2 challenge winner After 2 days and 3 hours, Swagbacon123 was the last person with his finger on the app and won $100,000!!!! CONGRATULATIONS! I also felt bad for second place person so I’m giving them $20,000 as well After 2 days and 3 hours @Swagbacon123 was the last person with his finger on the app and won $100,000!!!! CONGRATULATIONS! I also felt bad for second place person so I’m giving them $20,000 as well ❤️ — MrBeast (@MrBeast) March 23, 2021 What is the ‘Finger on the App’ challenge? Earlier this year, MrBeast created an application that challenged users with keeping their finger on their phone for as long as possible — at least, longer than other competitors, with the grand prize being $25,000. After three days, he ended the competition early by giving all four remaining participants $20,000 each. Now, MrBeast is bringing back the challenge and upping the stakes even more, increasing the prize to a jaw-dropping $100,000. When did MrBeast run the second Finger on the App challenge? MrBeast’s second ‘Finger on the App’ challenge started on Saturday, March 20. A countdown timer was shown weeks in advance on the Beast Games website. While the YouTuber ended up cutting the competition early last time, this one lasted a couple of days and ran its course until the end. How to play the ‘Finger on the App’ challenge MrBeast’s ‘Finger on the App 2’ application is now available for download on iOS and Android devices in Canada, the United States, and Mexico. The challenge doesn’t begin until March 20, but players can download it now and compete in the battle mode against people online. It’s a great way to practice for the main event, and you can also earn ‘extra lives’ for the challenge. In a similar fashion to MrBeast’s first ‘Finger on the App’ challenge, this program tasks players with continuously moving their finger on a grid to avoid any potential cheating. That’s not all; there’s even a ‘battle mode’ in this new version, which pits players against each other to avoid any obstacles that pop up in the grid. While this mode only lasts before the actual competition, it does allow participants to rack up lives ahead of time, if they perform well.

Mr Beast bets $10k that NICKMERCS will enjoy his favorite anime – Dexerto
Mr Beast bets $10k that NICKMERCS will enjoy his favorite anime MrBeast / Viz Media / Twitter, @NICKMERCSAs TimTheTatman convinces fellow Twitch star NICKMERCS to try out his first anime, Mr Beast is willing to bet a whopping $10K that Nick will enjoy the YouTuber’s favorite anime: . Nick ‘NICKMERCS’ Kolcheff is known for Call of Duty: Warzone and lifting weights on stream, what he’s not known for is a passion for anime. That hasn’t derailed Tim ‘TimTheTatman’ Betar, who has finally convinced Nick to try out one episode of an anime. When asking the world of Twitter what anime he should recommend with his one chance to get Nick interested, Tim received an emphatic, caps-locked response from MrBeast: “PROMISE NEVERLAND.” Immediately, Jack ‘CouRage’ Dunlop got in on the action — explaining that he loves the show, but isn’t sure it will work on Nick. With some of the biggest names in content creation grappling to determine the best choice, Mr Beast is confident enough in his choice that he wants to put $10,000 on it. This is a big moment and the creators involved are obviously taking it very seriously. In the end, one 20-minute episode will determine NICKMERCS’ faith in anime permanently. From a cursory glance, it’s easy to see why some might not think will be enough to sell Nick on anime. Unlike popularly recommended shows like and , the show centers on innocent-looking children. Still, the series is based on one of the most popular mangas of all time and despite the seeming innocence of its main characters, it still has dark undertones and tons of intrigue. Without spoiling anything, Wikipedia does tie it to genres like “Dark fantasy, “Science fiction,” and “Thriller.” It remains unknown what anime Nick will start with, but fans can certainly hope that he tries just so CouRage and Mr Beast’s bank accounts can duel.

Mr Beast appears at FaZe Tfue’s window and donates $7,000 IRL for solo kill wins on Fortnite – Dexerto
Mr Beast appears at FaZe Tfue’s window and donates $7,000 IRL for solo kill wins on Fortnite Popular YouTuber, Mr Beast, surprised FaZe Clan’s Fortnite superstar, Tfue, by donating to him through a window for every kill he got during a solo game. Mr Beast has formed a career on YouTube by giving away large amounts of money for various different reasons, and predominately to unsuspecting people. One of his most popular methods has been challenging Fortnite players to win games or get kills in order to secure money. While Mr Beast normally donates his money online via a Twitch stream, he decided to change up his tactics when he appeared at the window of FaZe Clan Fortnite pro, Tfue. Considered one of the best players in the world, challenging Tfue was always going to be a costly experience. He told him for every kill he got during a solo game, he’d receive $500. It took a little longer than normal for Tfue to get his first kill, but once it was secured he was showered with money by Mr Beast, with his friends in the background providing commentary through a megaphone. Somewhat predictably it turned out to be a rather lucrative game for Tfue, who managed to secure 13 kills in total, and was given a $500 bonus for winning the game, making it $7,000 in total. He then joined Mr Beast outside of his window to celebrate. Tfue went on to attempt to win a game with just a pickaxe, but was unfortunately killed early in the game. The official upload has yet to appear on Mr Beast’s YouTube channel at the time of writing.

Mr Beast gives away Lamborghini to Uber passenger – Dexerto
Mr Beast gives away Lamborghini to Uber passenger YouTube: Mr BeastYouTube’s favorite philanthropist, Mr Beast, has yet again made dreams come true on his first day as an Uber driver, by handing out free cars to the passengers he escorted, including a Lamborghini. 22-year-old Mr Beast has become one of the most popular creators on YouTube. Since the start of his YouTube career in 2012 at age 13, he has managed to accumulate over 45 million subscribers, just on his main channel alone. As his success has snowballed, the YouTuber (real name Jimmy Donaldson) has been able to facilitate even grander videos, with even more insanely expensive gifts for his subscribers, family and friends, as well as people in need. Most recently, Donaldson had his friends compete in the game Rogue Company, each person with the opportunity to win a Tesla worth tens of thousands of dollars. However, this time the huge creator wanted to share his wealth with total strangers, setting up his Uber driver account to meet with people who needed a ride. The twist was that at the end of every ride, Mr Beast would give the passenger the car they were driven in. While he drove around with his new customers, his friends rode behind them in the world’s most conspicuous surveillance van, feeding him lines and planning their big reveal. They each took a turn at handing out a car, and challenging each other to behave weirdly as the driver to make things a little extra tense. One passenger did manage to figure out that the driver was Mr Beast, but the others were in total shock and awe when they discovered they’d be able to keep the car. One person said they’d give the car to their mom who needed one, and another was relieved to receive the car after his had broken down. The final, and arguably the luckiest passenger, was grateful just to be picked up in a Lamborghini, calling it “surreal.” His disbelief was off the charts when he found out that he’d be able to keep the stunning car. With Mr Beast having fun being an Uber driver for a day, it has fans wondering where else the huge YouTuber could pop up, and if they’ll have a chance at winning a life-changing prize.

Over the last few years, YouTube creators have increasingly gained mainstream recognition as they’ve been able to earn as much as A-listers and athletes. While YouTubers are able to make good money from monetizing their videos, its their external ventures that propels them into the upper-echelon of earners. Many of them have gotten involved with cryptocurrency, joined the NFT (non-fungible token) wave, and invested in successful start-ups. Now, looking back on the 2021 earnings from creators, Forbes have revealed their rich list – and there are some eye-watering numbers for big names. Topping Forbes‘ YouTuber rich list this year is none other than Jimmy ‘Mr Beast’ Donaldson. As per the financial magazine’s finding, Mr Beast made a reported $54 million in 2021, with his Mr Beast burger venture cited as a big reason why. Following him in second place is Jake Paul. While some may be taken aback by this, given that Jake has somewhat given up on his channel, Forbes estimates that he made $40 million from boxing, which propels him onto the list. As for his YouTube earnings, they’re estimated at $5 million. YouTuber veteran Markiplier, the duo of Rhett and Link, and Minecraft phenomenon Unspeakable round out the top five with earnings of $38, $30, and $28.5 million respectively. Forbes 2021 YouTuber Rich List Mr Beast – $54 million – Jake Paul – $45 million – Markiplier – $38 million – Rhett and Link – $30 million – Unspeakable – $28.5 million – Nastya – $28 million – Ryan Kaji – $27 million – Dude Perfect – $20 million – Logan Paul – $18 million – Preston Arsement – $16 million – One of the biggest slides down the list, versus the 2020 list, is that of Ryan Kaji. The Children’s channel topped the list last year with close to $29.5 million in earnings, but slips down to seventh overall this year. There are some notable names that have dropped off the list compared to years gone by too, including David Dobrik and Jeffree Star. Though, they had been inactive for a good chunk of 2021. We’ll have to wait and see if 2022 brings any huge changes to the YouTube scene.

Jimmy ‘Mr Beast’ Donaldson is one of YouTube’s biggest stars, boasting over 31 million subscribers due to his mind-blowing cash giveaways and over-the-top challenges for his good-humored friend group. While the YouTuber has given out millions in cash before, his highly-anticipated February 29 upload saw the star and his buddies take on a taste test fit for kings, trying out high-priced food cited in the Guinness Book of World Records. Mr Beast and crew began their journey with easily affordable eats like a $1 slice of pizza and $6 burger before trying out their first luxury meal of the day — a plate of $64 wings covered in 24 karat gold leaf. That’s not all: the squad even sucked down a $124 milkshake, which crewmember Chandler described as tasting like a “silk cloud.” Containing Tahitian Vanilla ice cream and 23 karat edible gold, it comes as little surprise that this luxury treat won their favor — but that wasn’t the end of their food journey, by far. The crew even invited vlogging star David Dobrik and the “vlog squad” to taste test a $2,000 steak, which the YouTuber jokingly claimed was like “slicing into a baby.” “It doesn’t taste like steak,” Dobrik mused, going on to rate the meal a solid 9 out of 10 stars for its luxury quality. While Dobrik had to leave to film another project, Mr Beast and his friends continued their stint with $3,000 pork, $4,000 Tomahawk steak, and even $5,000 fish tacos before testing their behemoth final meal — a pizza worth $70,000. Complete with an ounce of gold leaf covering its crust, $4,000 worth of truffle mushrooms, and $16,000 of albino caviar, the pie was truly a marvel to behold and left the squad floored by its “marvelous” taste. Of course, Mr Beast didn’t let any of the expensive food go to waste; he explained that he’d donated their leftovers to kitchen staff or other restaurant-goers, and even donated a whopping $20,000 to food banks, totaling their entire dining venture at over $120,000.

Mr Beast $1m challenge ends abruptly after contestant makes rookie error – Dexerto
Mr Beast $1m challenge ends abruptly after contestant makes rookie error YouTube sensation Jimmy ‘MrBeast’ Donaldson saw his mega $1,000,000 challenge come to an abrupt end when one of his contestants made a rookie mistake that cost him the chance at winning the life-changing sum. MrBeast has made his name on YouTube by making videos showing off his generosity – be it to a smaller YouTuber, streamer, or even a random member of the public. Yet, with the holiday season on the horizon, the YouTube star decided to launch one of his most ambitious challenges yet, by giving away one million dollars. Unlike some other videos, there were no hoops to jump through or sneaky catches, but instead, contestants just had to keep their hand firmly locked to the glass cabinet that contained the insane amount of money. So, when his video went live on December 19, fans rushed to watch it – ensuring that the video went viral, and so too did the mistakes of the eventual losers. After less than 12 hours, the first competitor, Jorge, dropped out when he accidentally slipped up and removed his hand. He was followed a few hours later by Akira who, in a moment of madness, picked his hand up and touched his elbow. Yet, the most brutal mistake of all fell on Omar, who ended up finishing in second. Tearing up, the competitor revealed that he felt his knee spasm and wanted to check on it but by doing so, he cost himself the $1,000,000 prize. Timestamp for mobile viewers of 13:42 With this being MrBeast, though, everyone who takes part gets a reward anyway. Instead of winning the huge amount, Omar was given $30,000 as a runner-up consolation prize. As for the winner, Mark, well he bigged up the potential for a spending spree now that he has the huge chunk of change – while also making some sensible decisions in paying off debt. That, however, will be its own follow-up video that fans of MrBeast will be able to see on Saturday, December 21 at 4PM EST/9PM GMT/1PM PST.

Movie-goers terrified after man brings ventriloquist dummy to theater – Dexerto
Movie-goers terrified after man brings ventriloquist dummy to theater X: MrSloaneRangerA man who brought a ventriloquist dummy to the cinemas has left the internet swearing they would have “instantly” bailed. Going with a friend or date to the movies can be a lot more fun than riding solo, however, those around you might not agree if your company happens to be a ventriloquist dummy. The puppets, alongside other dolls, have earned a terrifying reputation over the years thanks to horror films and their often “creepy” appearance. Nonetheless, one man was not deterred by this and brought a ventriloquist doll named Raymond to the movies via a suitcase, leaving onlookers ‘concerned’. Posting about the experience, X user Florian Bettencourt Twombly said Raymond was ‘assembled’ in his own seat (which had allegedly been paid for) with a box of popcorn and introduced to movie-goers. While Florian described the man accompanying Raymond as “funny and charming”, he also described the situation as “unhinged” and revealed that Raymond was even made to “talk”. Many responded to the post by stating they would “instantly walk out” if they found themselves in Florian’s position. “There is zero chance I’d still be sitting next to Raymond when the lights dim,” one person wrote. Another said that simply “reading” Florian’s post left them feeling “cursed” as they expected the picture of Raymond to “turn its head”. There were those, however, who supported Raymond’s attendance: “Mind your business and let the man and his cursed Victorian doll enjoy the film.” In response to one commenter who was unimpressed that a photo of Raymond was taken and shared online, Florian said, “He was taking pictures as well and encouraging it. You can’t bring out a ventriloquist at the cinema, give it popcorn, and start taking photos of it and not expect others to do the same.” Florian said the man behind Raymond had “even asked us to tag him” but failed to give movie-goers his handle before the movie concluded.

Movie theaters ban suits as GentleMinions TikTok trend continues to cause havoc – Dexerto
Movie theaters ban suits as GentleMinions TikTok trend continues to cause havoc Twitter: Tylerlakecanes / TikTok: Sebjohn16Some movie theaters are banning groups of people wearing formal attire from watching the new Minions: The Rise of Gru, after the GentleMinions trend blew up massively on TikTok. ‘Minions’ have been hugely popular online for many years now, ever since their debut in the wildly popular ‘Despicable Me’ franchise. They have become the subject of thousands of viral memes and trends, and the recent release of Minions: The Rise of Gru has prompted a new wave of content related to the little yellow creatures. Perhaps the most prominent trend to come from the release of the new movies is the GentleMinions trend. This sees large groups of people dressing up in suits or other formal attire, and attending screenings of Minions: The Rise of Gru. The trend currently seems to be particularly popular in the UK. Videos of people participating have garnered millions of likes and views, with clips of people enthusiastically watching the movie spreading to For You Pages across the world. Click here if TikTok doesn’t load However, as the trend becomes more popular and creates more chaos, some movie theaters have actually started banning groups of people wearing suits from seeing the movie. One Twitter user uploaded an image of a sign posted at one movie theater that read: “Due to recent disturbances, following the #gentleminions trend, any group of guests in formal attire will be refused entry for showings of Minions: The Rise of Gru.” The sign at my cinema 😂 pic.twitter.com/9nLYhzZwDa — Caniac Tyler 🏴 (@Tylerlakecanes) July 2, 2022 While some users have been loving the trend, with GentleMinions videos garnering millions of likes and views, others haven’t been quite so keen. Read More: Who is Unreal Margot on TikTok? – “Imagine paying money to enjoy the movie and this happens,” one comment with over 140,000 likes read. “I ain’t paying 20 for a movie ticket just to see some grown boys in tuxedos disturbing the movie screaming and clapping,” another user wrote. According to a report from BBC, movie theaters are issuing refunds for those banned from the movie screening but notes that not all companies are doing so. The trend is only becoming more popular as the days go on, and it looks like more movie theaters could be set to impose restrictions if the chaos continues.

Mother-in-law from hell hires thugs to splash red paint on bride’s wedding dress – Dexerto
Mother-in-law from hell hires thugs to splash red paint on bride’s wedding dress Twitter/X: fulanodeobregonA bride was left distraught after thugs threw red paint on her wedding gown as she walked down the aisle — thugs who were hired by her own mother-in-law. We’ve all heard of “monsters-in-law,” but one woman’s mother-in-law from hell truly takes the cake thanks to her jaw-dropping antics during her son’s wedding. It’s no secret that marrying a momma’s boy can sometimes come with an overbearing mother-in-law… and that’s what one bride found out the hard way. In a viral thread on Twitter/X, a Spanish-speaking user named ‘fulanodeobregon’ posted a series of photos showing a bride from Ciudad Obregón, Sonora, Mexico, wearing a white wedding dress that was covered in splashes of red paint. Bride goes viral after mother-in-law hires thugs to splash paint on wedding gown Other photos show the sidewalk at the wedding venue smeared with streaks of the same red paint, as well as a plastic bottle filled with the paint that was thrown onto the ground. The story behind the viral photos is even more shocking. According to the poster, the family of the groom was not happy with his choice in women because the bride didn’t come from “money.” According to the poster, the groom’s family was quite wealthy and “wanted him to marry a rich woman.” “They hated her and it became PSYCHOLOGICAL TORTURE where the boyfriend’s family dedicated themselves to speaking badly of her,” they wrote, alleging that the in-laws even sent her “narco messages, death threats, harm, harassment, and bullying on all networks.” Things escalated on the day of their wedding, when the bride’s mother-in-law hired a group of thugs to splash paint on her wedding gown after refusing to attend the ceremony. A Reddit post has corroborated these claims, saying that three men ran up to her — two with cans of paint and one recording the whole ordeal. “At first, guests thought the red paint might be blood,” the Redditor wrote. “I can’t even imagine what that must’ve felt like.” Luckily, the bride didn’t let the attack bring her down. She changed into a gold, floor-length dress and returned to the venue to finish the ceremony with her now-husband. Of course, that wasn’t the extent of the in-laws’ plans to stop the wedding from happening. They allegedly called in a tip to law enforcement saying that drugs were hidden at the photo location, and police supposedly searched all of the guests. News of the ordeal has spread throughout the area, and, according to netizens, locals aren’t happy with the mother-in-law’s antics. The Reddit post claims that her “house has been egged” and that she’s “hated by the whole town.” This is just the latest mother-in-law from hell to go viral on social media after bride blasted her MIL for wearing a white gown to her wedding last year.

Mother splits TikTok over worries that babysitter fell asleep on the job – Dexerto
Mother splits TikTok over worries that babysitter fell asleep on the job Unsplash.com: No Revisions / TikTok: danimariemitA mother’s story on TikTok is dividing the internet after she claims she came home early from a date to find her babysitter sleeping on the job — and opinions about her reaction are mixed. TikTok is one of the biggest social media platforms on the net right now…and as such, it’s also one of the top platforms people visit for an unbiased opinion from the internet. TikTok is rife with people asking for other folks’ takes on the situations happening in their own lives (although sometimes this happens whether they asked or not). The latest debate taking over TikTok comes from working mom Danielle Mitchell, who says she had to return home early from a date night with her hubby after she worried her babysitter had fallen asleep while watching her 10-month-old son. According to Mitchell, she and her husband were only out of the house from 6:30 to 9:30 PM. During that time, she checked the cameras in her house to see that the sitter she’d hired was laying on the sofa, presumably asleep. When the sitter failed to answer a text asking to bring the dog inside, the Mitchells ended their date night early and returned home to find that she had, indeed, taken some z’s. “Now, I don’t know what to think,” Mitchell said. “Is it normal for your babysitter to fall asleep when they’re watching your kids?” Click here if TikTok fails to load. Users are decidedly split on the subject. Although many claim it’s totally normal and acceptable for sitters to take a cat nap if the kiddos are asleep too, others say they would “never” sleep on the job, no matter what. “Dad of 5 here,” one commenter wrote. “Unless your child has some at-risk medical condition, it’s fine for the babysitter to sleep. IMO.” “Definitely a first time parent overreaction, and that’s ok,” another said. “He was asleep and safe. We all take a bit to wake up when asleep, even as parents.” “Used to babysit a lot as a teenager,” another commenter argued. “I would NEVER sleep at someone’s house while on the job. And that’s even when the kids are older.” “As an experienced baby sitter, unless you’re staying the night, then definitely don’t fall asleep,” another sitter said. “Especially if you’re only there till 9.30.” In a follow up video, Danielle responded to concerns that she hadn’t made her sitter aware of the cameras in her home, showing that they were placed well within plain sight. Click here if TikTok fails to load. In another video, she reacted to a comment asking if she also sleeps while watching her child, saying: “First of all, I am his mother, so I am a little more attuned to him than a random person. So, if he wakes up and starts crying, I am literally up in a split second. And second, I am not getting paid, but I am paying the babysitter.” Click here if TikTok fails to load. It seems like opinions on the babysitter’s actions are still split on this topic, in stark contrast to TikTok’s reaction to a party of 91 that showed up at a restaurant without a reservation.

Mother and daughter’s flight ruined after man urinates in cup beside them – Dexerto
Mother and daughter’s flight ruined after man urinates in cup beside them Unsplash: Ross ParmlyA mother and daughter were left “humiliated” after a man seated beside them on a flight to Sydney urinated in a cup. Holly was on her way to visit her sister, flying with her 15-year-old daughter from Auckland, New Zealand to Sydney, Australia when their flight experience was ruined by an intoxicated man seated beside them. The 53-year-old man was assigned a window seat beside the mother and daughter when they heard him urinating in a cup after the plane landed at its destination. Talking to Stuff Travel, Holly said, “We heard him do it. There was no mistaking what the sound was and I just looked straight at my daughter and my daughter looked straight at me. It was very obvious what was happening.” “So yeah he pulled his naked penis out next to us at least three times,” she continued. “That just makes my skin crawl.” The man allegedly attempted to hide the evidence of his urination by tipping out the cup in a toilet, but tripped on his way and spilled “a good amount of his urine” on a flight attendant. Informing staff on the situation, Holly said she and her daughter were left “humiliated” after both of them were escorted off the plane by Australian Federal Police alongside the man to make a statement. Australian Federal Police told Stuff Travel that the man has since been charged with acting in an offensive or disorderly manner affecting safety. After a hearing in the Downing Centre Local Court on February 21, the man was fined AUD$600 (USD $394.86).

Most watched Twitch streamers in 2022: xQc, Hasan, Ibai, more – Dexerto
Most watched Twitch streamers in 2022: xQc, Hasan, Ibai, more twitch: xqc / IbaiMany familiar faces fill the top spots of most-watched streamers on Twitch in 2022, which saw big releases, big events and community drama draw millions of viewers every day to the platform. While there won’t be any prizes for guessing the number one spot (he’s made it there three years in a row) there are also some new contenders who might be aiming to take it from xQc in 2023. This year, the top 10 most-watched was split evenly between English-speaking and non-English-speaking streamers, with five-a-piece. And, while xQc remained number one, the next three were all Spanish-speaking channels. Twitch most-watched streamers (2022) In the tenth spot, Twitch veteran summit1g remains, as much of a stalwart of Twitch streaming as anyone on this list, and remarkable achievement to still be attracting such a large audience so deep into his career. It’s worth noting though that Summit did also stream over 4,000 hours this year, which is more than anyone else on the list – except Gaules. Here are the top streamers 10 in 2022, based on hours watched as of December 30: xQc: 227.23m – Gaules: 161.75m – Ibai: 112.03m – Auronplay: 101.46m – Hasan: 82.48m – fps_shaka: 81.13m – Asmongold: 80.32m – Trainwreckstv: 76.91m – tarik: 72.67m – summit1g: 69.20m – Data via StreamsCharts and SullyGnome. In 2nd most watched overall, Gaules streamed an outrageous 8,000 hours, although a lot of this will actually have been reruns of matches, as opposed to him being live properly. Asmongold comes in at 7th with just shy of 80 million hours watched, however, if his hours watched on his second channel, zackrawr, where added in, he would be just behind Auronplay, with 99 million hours. fps_shaka is the only streamer in the top 10 who speaks neither English nor Spanish. A Japanese streamer, he is best known for both Apex Legends and Valorant, and has had great success co-streaming Valorant tournaments. Just missing out on the top 10 this year was Kai Cenat, who clocked in 67 million hours watched (just shy of summit1g’s 69 million. We still think Kai Cenat had the best year on Twitch in 2022 though. However, he was just behind another streamer too. Eliasn97, a German streamer, was actually 11th with 67.7 million. Brand accounts were also excluded from the list, but if included, ESL_CSGO would be 5th with 87 million hours. Notably, there are no women who make the top 10 overall, but we know that Amouranth has been the most-watched female streamer this year, with 33 million hours watched, with usual top streamer Pokimane streaming fewer hours than in previous years. VTubers are also making waves this year and could be cracking some of these top lists in the future. You can check out Dexerto’s best VTubers here.

Most-watched female Twitch streamers in 2022: Amouranth dominates, VTubers rise up – Dexerto
Most-watched female Twitch streamers in 2022: Amouranth dominates, VTubers rise up While there were no women at all in Twitch’s top 10 most-watched in 2022, some female streamers have attracted massive viewership nonetheless. Here is the full top 10 for women only, with Amouranth dominating the list. Women on Twitch have always struggled to attain the same viewership figures as their male counterparts. While there could be a great number of reasons for this, the disparity may be moving in the right direction, with some records being broken by female streamers in 2022. Ironmouse took the record for the most subs for a female streamer with over a 100,000 – beating Kkatamina’s record of 74,000 just a few months earlier. Despite this, Amouranth is still the only female streamer in the top 100 most-watched on Twitch. Pokimane previously made the top 100, but has been streaming far less this year, hence her hours watched are also reduced. Check out the top 10 female streamers in 2022 below. Top 10 most-watched female Twitch streamers Amouranth – 32.06 million – Ironmouse – 20.39 million – saddummy – 14.89 million – jinnytty – 13.66 million – 39daph – 12.82 million – Pokimane – 12.28 million – rivers_gg – 12.22 million – Kyedae – 11.46 million – Shylily – 11.25 million – dda_ju – 10.61 million – The graph below, via StreamsCharts, shows how far ahead Amouranth is from the rest of the pack, with Ironmouse also having an incredible year. If Pokimane were to return to streaming full-time, it’s likely she would shoot up the rankings again. But, the OfflineTV member has hinted that she will be streaming even less in 2023. VTubing has obviously contributed to the growth of female streaming overall, with Ironmouse and Shylily both ranking inside the top 10 on Twitch, with many more VTubers also finding success on YouTube. Check out our best VTubers of the year here.

Most watched Twitch streamers in 2021: xQc, Gaules, NICKMERCS, more – Dexerto
Most watched Twitch streamers in 2021: xQc, Gaules, NICKMERCS, more xQc / GaulesxQc has cemented his spot as by far the most popular streamer on Twitch, taking the ‘most-watched’ crown for two years running. These are the top 10 most-watched Twitch streamers in 2021. Working out who is the “most popular” Twitch streamer is a challenge, because it depends on which statistic you use. Peak viewership, number of subscribers, and total followers are all measurements used to rank streamers. But, the most accurate ways of measuring popularity are average viewership, and hours watched, although neither is perfect. Average viewers can be swayed by a single stream that goes viral. Hours watched can be swayed by how much a content creator streams, but generally, it is the best measure over long periods of time. For two years running, former Overwatch pro Felix ‘xQc’ Lengyel has been by far the most-watched streamer by hours watched, cementing his place at the top. But who is next after the Canadian? Top 10 most-watch Twitch channels (2021) Thanks to data from Rainmaker.gg, in partnership with StreamElements, the rankings show a surge in non-English speaking channels has continued in 2021. Read More: Hasan calls out use of TriHard Twitch emote – Half of the top 10 are non-English, with two speaking Portuguese, two Spanish, and one German. xQc’s dominance xQc continues to be a streak ahead of all others though. Part of this massive jump in hours watched compared to even second place, is down to his hours streamed, as he broadcasts almost every day of the week, often for 12 hours or longer. “xQcOW cemented his star power by being the most viewed streamer on Twitch for two years in a row,” said Jason Krebs, CBO at StreamElements. What about female streamers? Perhaps notable in their absence from the top 10 is female streamers. Although the majority of streamers are male, we picked out some of Twitch’s best female streamers in our best streamers and best breakthrough streamers rankings this year. The most-watched female streamer in 2021 was Amouranth, moving above Pokimane, who has taken the top spot in previous years. “Amouranth and her ability to dominate in multiple content categories took home the crown for top female streamer moving up from the #160 overall spot to #33 and being one of the only 2 women creators in the top 100,” Krebs said. With a number of female streamers on the rise, it remains to be seen if any can crack into the top 10 overall list in 2022 or beyond.

“Most swatted streamer” Summit1g condemns swatters for putting loved ones’ lives at risk – Dexerto
“Most swatted streamer” Summit1g condemns swatters for putting loved ones’ lives at risk Twitch: summit1g / Unsplash.com: Logan WeaverJaryd ‘Summit1g’ Lazar is the latest streamer to speak out on the topic of swatting when he revealed that being “the most swatted streamer” on Twitch has put the lives of his friends and loved ones in danger countless times. Being one of the top streamers on Twitch and a massive celebrity with millions of fans certainly has its perks, but is also comes with plenty of downfalls. In recent years, many of the most popular content creators have been subjected to the dangerous practice of swatting. Despite incidents involving huge Twitch streamers like Tfue and massive YouTube personalities like Ethan Klein, many fans remain ignorant to the extreme danger that these situations can create and might not realize just how often they occur. The latest in a long line of prominent content creators to speak out against the practice of swatting is Jaryd ‘Summit1g’ Lazar, who revealed that his own swatting incidents have put numerous lives at risk — including that of his very own father. Lazar opened up about his own experiences with swatting in a series of tweets shared on May 23. The massive personality revealed that he’s been subjected to even more swatting than people might have imagined, due to the fact that he hasn’t shared any of his experiences. “Can’t tell you how many lives have been at risk [because of swatting],” he revealed on Twitter. Summit also shared that these dangerous events had even affected his own father’s safety: “Gotta move my dad who just [moved in], wasting my adult time for your childish actions. “It’s sad [that] the only way to stop [swatting] besides the obvious [hiding your address] is to pretty much recognize that you’ve been swatted. I can only imagine how many idiots have been confused [because] nothing happened on stream so they do it again.” And it’s kinda sad cuz I feel like the only way to stop it 100% besides the obvious “do a better job hiding your address” is to pretty much recognize that you’ve been swatted. I can only imagine how many idiots have been confused cuz nothing happened on stream so they do it again — summit1g (@summit1g) May 23, 2021 Summit’s sudden revelation about his encounters with swatting shocked the gaming community. Dozens of his fellow streamers and hundreds of fans shared their support in the replies to his tweets. Fellow streamer Lauren ‘MsTeamKK’ Johnson expressed her sympathy for Summit, and her and frustration with the practice. I wish there was a better way for them to track down these idiots cause they deserve to be behind bars. I’m so sorry you have to deal with this. — Lauren (@MsTeamKK) May 23, 2021 While some people might swat a streamer out of anger or to escalate a feud with another creator, many do it simply to see the streamer’s reaction as the events unfold live in front of thousands of viewers — something that Lazar seems all too aware of. Despite the seriousness of Summit’s situation, the streamer did send out a couple of reassuring tweets to his fans. Didn’t mean to worry you guys, don’t stress I’m just annoyed lol. — summit1g (@summit1g) May 23, 2021 Lazar also confirmed that his local law enforcement agency has handled the situations properly and helped to keep him and the other occupants of his home safe: “I’m honestly super fortunate that the police have handled it like pros every single time.” Swatting remains an unfortunate, ever-looming threat for many working in content creation. Summit speaking out about his own experiences with swatting has provided another chance to reflect on the seriousness of these illegal actions, and what can be done to address them in the future.

Throwing viewers off once again with his genius optical illusions, this video shows him trying to find a hiding spot, only to be chucked out of hiding spaces by his friends. Then he gives himself a helping hand by climbing through the bathroom mirror cabinet. 2. James Charles’ Christmas Sisters Party – 1.7 billion views Famous TikTokker James Charles takes second place on the list of the most viewed videos – but it’s not for a makeup tutorial as you might think. Instead, it’s a snippet from James’ sisters Christmas party in 2019 and the video has been up a fair few years now, which may be one reason why it has been watched so much. 1. Zach King’s Magic Ride – 2.3 billion views Zach King is living up to his name as the king of TikTok, not only with four videos being some of the most popular videos on the platform but also by having the most watched video ever on it. Most popular Twitch streamer by US state: Amouranth, Pokimane & more – Dexerto
Most popular Twitch streamer by US state: Amouranth, Pokimane & more Pexels.com: Karolina Grabowska / Instagram: pokimanelol / Twitter: AmouranthEver wondered who’s the most popular Twitch streamer in the United States? It turns out there are two stars who are dominating trends in America — and the competition is close. Influencers are the new rising stars of this generation, and Twitch streamers are a huge part of that group. With live-streamed entertainment becoming a huge part of the overall entertainment space, it stands to reason that some of these broadcasters are also trending on Google in a big way. After five years of watching Google trends for Twitch streamers across the United States, gambling experts from CasinoGrounds have revealed the most popular broadcasters per state… and the results are nothing short of eyebrow-raising. Pokimane & Amouranth are America’s most popular streamers In a sweeping victory, Imane ‘Pokimane’ Anys earns the title of most popular streamer in the United States. The Twitch star dominated search trends in a total of eleven states, including California, Florida, and even Alaska. However, Kaitlyn ‘Amouranth’ Siragusa isn’t far behind. Boasting a full ten states under her belt, Amouranth is the most popular Twitch star in Colorado, New Mexico, and Washington state. Asmongold, Ninja & Dream take 3rd – 5th place From there the popularity per state drops dramatically, with MMO star Asmongold taking five states to his name, including Georgia, Missouri, and Kansas. Ninja weighs in as the fourth-most popular Twitch streamer, taking Texas, Iowa, Kentucky, and Pennsylvania for his own. Other popular streamers in the USA include Minecraft star Dream, Mizkif, Ranboo, and MoistCritikal. Amazing, despite being banned from the platform, the Two-Time Blockbuster video games champion Dr Disrespect also makes the list, securing trends in Wyoming and Vermont. Overall, it looks like the top two most-followed women on Twitch are also some of the most-searched Twitch streamers in the United States, in general. Amouranth recently broke into the site’s Top 20 most-followed broadcasters, although was recently knocked out by ‘Heelmike.’ This marks another major win for the streamer, who recently made a “no brainer” $1 million investment in Amazon as her budding business empire continues to grow.

7 Most controversial YouTuber apologies: David Dobrik, Laura Lee, TmarTn, Logan Paul, more – Dexerto
7 Most controversial YouTuber apologies: David Dobrik, Laura Lee, TmarTn, Logan Paul, more YouTube: David Dobrik, Laura Lee, Logan PaulAn apology video can make or break an influencer’s career following a scandal — but with viewers on high alert for any hint of insincerity, many YouTube apologies have fallen short in the eyes of fans. Here are 7 of the worst or most controversial apology attempts. Apology videos have been one of the most unexpected genres to emerge from YouTube’s popularity. These videos have become so commonplace that they now serve as a source of content, with viewers making satire, viral memes, and more out of the tried and tested format. While some creators followed through on their promise to reform themselves since their uploads, an apology is nearly always initially met with a new wave of backlash that’s equal to (if not bigger than) the cause of the apology in the first place. To commemorate some of the most infamous and meme-able apology videos, here are the 7 most controversial of all time. David Dobrik Vlog Squad star David Dobrik found himself in the center of a controversy in 2021 after a woman alleged she was sexually assaulted during the filming of a YouTube video with the group. David was immediately criticized upon releasing his first apology, with many pointing out the irony of titling the video ‘Let’s Talk’ while also disabling the comments. His second video followed the more typical format of a YouTuber apology, sitting on the floor in a ‘raw’ approach to the situation. The YouTuber even got emotional this time around, but for many viewers it was too little, too late. Some viral tweets pointed out that the apology only came after countless sponsors revealed that they would be dropping Dobrik following the controversy, including Bumble, HBO Max, and Audible. Laura Lee This beauty influencer unintentionally made one of the most talked-about apologies on the platform in 2018 after she was called out for racist tweets she posted and retweeted back in 2012. Her initial apology was slammed after people pointed out that Lee was “wiping non-existent tears off of her face,” and it has since become one of the most cited examples of how not to make an apology video. In 2019, Laura even went on to make an apology video for her previous apology, in which she addressed people’s concerns that she had made herself out to be the victim. Not everyone bought into the second apology either, but she still continues to make her regular beauty content on the platform. Jeffree Star & Tati Westbrook Tati Westbrook broke the internet in 2019 when she uploaded a video about James Charles title ‘Bye Sister,’ in which she called him out for predatory behavior, which caused James to lose millions of subscribers. Jeffree Star also joined in, calling the influencer a “danger to society.” But in 2020, Tati took back what she said about Charles in a video called “Breaking my silence,” claiming that Jeffree Star and YouTuber Shane Dawson had been the ones to get her to make the video, though some felt that the influencer was ‘playing the victim.’ A few weeks later, Jeffree uploaded his own video titled “Doing What’s Right,” in which he apologized to James, sitting on a huge golden sofa. Jeffree came under fire for bringing the Black Lives Matter into the apology, with one viewer writing, “Jeffree Star bringing up BLM and the injustices in the black/trans community in his video is the grossest form of manipulation and deflection I’ve ever seen.” The beauty mogul lost around 100,00 subscribers as a result of the video. TmarTn In 2016, gaming YouTuber Trevor Martin a.k.a. TmarTn was called out for promoting a CS:GO gambling site, called CS:GO Lotto. Despite pretending to just be a sponsor of the site, it transpired that he and fellow YouTuber Syndicate in fact co-owned the site, without disclosing it, leading to outrage. Soon after, Trevor uploaded a video addressing the criticism, but it was met with even further backlash, some calling it “one of the most classic sh*tty YouTube apologies.” The video subsequently became the result of many memes, often mocking the inclusion of his dog at the start of the video, seen as a play for pity. The phrase, “Cooper, I have no idea how to start this” is a common reference when criticizing other apology videos. Logan Paul The eldest Paul brother received an extraordinary amount of backlash online in 2018 after he filmed and uploaded a video of a suicide victim in the Aokigahara “suicide forest” in Japan. Petitions were even made asking YouTube to delete Logan’s channel. In his apology video titled “So Sorry”, he said, “I’ve made a severe and continuous lapse in my judgment, and I don’t expect to be forgiven, I’m simply here to apologize.” The video received over 2.5 million dislikes and now stands at almost 60,000 views. While he received backlash over the apology at the time, in light of David Dobrik’s series of apology videos, some have said they think Logan followed up on his promise to change. “Actually comparing this to David’s apology, Logan did a pretty good job – Logan comes across as more sincere and he really did change for the better,” one viewer said. Colleen Ballinger In June 2023, Colleen Ballinger faced backlash for allegedly “grooming” her young fans. In response, Colleen, also known as Miranda Sings on YouTube, uploaded a 10-minute song, while playing a ukelele, as her response. This was certainly one of the more odd ways to deliver an apology – although Colleen argued it wasn’t an apology at all, but rather simply refuting what had been alleged. The whole thing was quickly derided on social media, with some going as far as to call it “sick.” Sienna Mae Sienna Mae is a TikTok and Instagram star, who faced intense criticism after being accused of sexually assaulting fellow TikToker Jack Wright. Video footage appeared to show her fondling and kissing him while he was asleep. Sienna maintained her innocence throughout, but faced mockery when she uploaded a dance video after a month away from social media, due to the “negativity surrounding my platform.” Although the video did not directly apologize, it was seen as an attempt at a comeback. It was later deleted, but YouTuber MoistCr1TiKal reacted to it, and described it as the worst apology video ever. These videos certainly won’t be the last influencer apologies to receive backlash online, but it goes to show how rare it can be for creators to nail their response first time.

Most liked Instagram posts ever: Messi takes top spot from egg meme – Dexerto
Most liked Instagram posts ever: Messi takes top spot from egg meme Graphics: InstagramLionel Messi has taken the top spot with Instagram’s most-liked post following his World Cup triumph, but what else is up there? Here’s the current top 10. Plenty of posts have gone viral across social media in the last few years, with each platform having its own records for most-liked, most-watched, and most commented-on posts. In the case of Instagram, it may not seem like posts can spread fast and start achieving record amounts of interactions in a short time in the same way Twitter does, but some of the biggest posts have gotten tens of millions of likes in a short space of time. Previously, the top spot was held by a photo of an egg. In case you’ve forgotten what that was all about, it was a campaign from an account called world_record_egg that wanted to take the spot as the most-liked photo from Kylie Jenner. Following the conclusion of the 2022 FIFA World Cup, where Argentina finally triumphed for the first time since 1986, Lionel Messi’s celebratory post has taken that spot away from the egg. The footballing icon, who was backed by pretty much the world – well, aside from France – to win the World Cup, received over 43 million likes on his photo in less than 24 hours. He’s also toppled long-time rival Cristiano Ronaldo, who previously held second and third place with separate posts. One of which included Messi and himself playing Chess in an advertisement for Louis Vuitton ahead of the World Cup. Top 10 most-liked Instagram posts Messi’s post has now flown past the egg photo with over 60 million likes, and it would be surprising to see the once-viral meme try and make a comeback to reclaim top spot. Though, it has ticked up a little bit since losing out to the footballing icon. The complete top 10 can be found below: With new posts going live all the time, there are plenty of attempts to try and break into the top 10, but going for the top spot is going to be pretty difficult following Messi’s rise to number one. We’ll keep this post updated with any new entries, so keep checking back for more.

Morphe drops Jeffree Star Cosmetics following racism allegations – Dexerto
Morphe drops Jeffree Star Cosmetics following racism allegations Jeffree Star, YouTube[jwplayer mgzBNoPb]Massive makeup brand Morphe has announced it will no longer sell products related to Jeffree Star Cosmetics, following allegations of racist behavior and other claims against the YouTuber. While Jeffree Star has long been a divisive figure online, the makeup mogul has come under extreme scrutiny in the past few weeks, after critics suggested both he and fellow YouTuber Shane Dawson orchestrated the scandal against James Charles in 2019. Combined with past allegations of racist behavior by Star toward people of color within the YouTube beauty community, as well as Tati Westbrook’s viral video alleging that both Star and Dawson had “gaslit” her into making her James Charles video last year, Star has disappeared from social media altogether — but the drama is catching up with him, regardless. Multiple top names in YouTube’s makeup scene came forward last week by announcing their split from Morphe, claiming that they did not feel comfortable working with a company that sold “antiblack racist beauty brands,” as told by beauty guru Jackie Aina. https://twitter.com/jackieaina/status/1278762407892930561?s=20 It seems that these messages caught Morphe’s attention, with the company officially announcing that it would no longer sell Jeffree Star Cosmetics products in a bombshell Tweet on July 10. “Today we’ve made the decision to cease all commercial activity related to Jeffree Star and affiliated products,” the company wrote. “We expect this to conclude within the coming weeks. As we look to the future, we will continue to share updates on what lies ahead for the Morphe brand.” Today we’ve made the decision to cease all commercial activity related to Jeffree Star and affiliated products. We expect this to conclude within the coming weeks. As we look to the future, we will continue to share updates on what lies ahead for the Morphe brand. — Morphe (@MorpheBrushes) July 10, 2020 Morphe’s statement follows speculation that Star was somehow monetarily involved in the brand, after an older video of the YouTuber surfaced where he claimed he was an investor in Morphe. This move likewise comes after the brand’s purge of Shane Dawson’s “Conspiracy” palette on June 30, which was removed from the brand’s stores after the YouTuber uploaded an apology video addressing the outrage over his older content. While Star has yet to address the drama at the time of writing, he did state that he was traveling for his Grandmother’s birthday — a claim that many critics have speculated is false. https://www.instagram.com/p/CB6RJZmhCSL/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link UPDATE: Jeffree Star Cosmetics have since responded to Morphe’s statement in a post via Instagram, claiming they are “shocked and saddened” by the company’s decision to “part ways” with their brand. https://www.instagram.com/p/CCeooJ4FCiZ/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link JSC likewise assured fans that more products from their brand would be forthcoming this year — meaning that it doesn’t look like current events will stop Jeffree Star from his work in the makeup world.

What is the world record for most comments on a TikTok? – Dexerto
What is the world record for most comments on a TikTok? Wikimedia Commons, Solen FeyissaSome TikTok users have been setting themselves the challenge of breaking the record for the most likes on one video, but there’s one video in particular that appears to be firmly in first place. Over the past couple of years, video sharing platform TikTok has become the center of viral content on the internet, and with so many users already on the app and new people joining up each day, the numbers that some creators and videos can see are impressive. When it comes to the most-liked TikTok, influencer Bella Poarch currently holds that title for her ‘M to the B’ lip sync video that has over 62.9 million likes. However, with 1.9 million comments, that video is not the post with the most comments on TikTok. Although it’s hard to track which videos have the most comments, originally that title appeared to be held by user dirty.kirby, who set his followers a challenge by making a video with the caption, “why does this video have the world record of the most comments.” The video currently has 4.2 million comments. Click here if TikTok doesn’t load What is the most commented TikTok post? However, that record was well and truly broken back in 2021 by a different creator called meqs, who makes videos about Minecraft. Read More: Top 20 most followed TikTok accounts – In this TikTok, the creator actively challenged their followers to break the record by telling them to leave as many comments as they possibly could. And their request worked. The video quickly started garnering hundreds of thousands of comments, which soon after turned into millions. At the time of writing, the video has an astonishing 10.6 million likes and currently appears to be unbeaten — though plenty of people are trying to achieve that same viral access by challenging the original poster. Click here if TikTok doesn’t load The sheer speed at which this video managed to gain so many comments just goes to show that this record could be broken by someone else at any moment, but whether anyone will be successful any time soon remains to be seen.

Mormon influencer Taylor Frankie Paul reaches plea deal in domestic violence case – Dexerto
Mormon influencer Taylor Frankie Paul reaches plea deal in domestic violence case Instagram: taylorfrankiepaulTikToker Taylor Frankie Paul has reached a plea deal after an arrest earlier this year saw her charged with assault, criminal mischief, and commission of domestic violence in the presence of a child. Utah content creator Taylor Frankie Paul is known on TikTok as “Mormon Mom” and had gained a large following when she was arrested in a domestic violence case involving her boyfriend, Dakota Mortensen. Police arriving at Paul’s house in February 2023 discovered the couple had gotten into an argument that escalated when Paul attempted to stop Mortensen from leaving, resulting in the latter “shoving” an intoxicated Paul out of the way. Video evidence collected from the house suggested that Paul had then thrown various objects at her boyfriend, including “heavy metal chairs” — one of which struck her five-year-old daughter in the head, resulting in a “goose-egg” injury to her head. Now Paul has reached a plea deal and is working towards “healing,” calling the case her “rock-bottom” but stating it “actually helped” in some ways as she was able to get the help and support she needed. Paul’s plea deal will see her obtain both a substance abuse and domestic violence evaluation, completing all recommended treatment over the next three years. This is in abeyance to a third-degree felony count of aggravated assault, as reported by The Salt Lake Tribune. As a part of the plea, four other charges were dropped, including two felony counts of domestic violence in the presence of a child and a misdemeanor count of both child abuse and criminal mischief. In an Instagram story, Paul wrote, “The last few weeks have been the hardest weeks of my life. I wanted to thank all of those who have been by my side, those who reached out, and the strangers that stopped to hug me.” Thanking her fans for giving her “grace at this very difficult time,” Paul said she has since started taking antidepressants and has been “working on healing, therapy, a blessing, starting classes,” and is already “starting to feel progress.” She is also still together with Mortensen, who regularly appears on her social media. Morphe drops James Charles collaboration after grooming allegations – Dexerto
Morphe drops James Charles collaboration after grooming allegations YouTube: James CharlesJames Charles has announced he has “mutually agreed to wind down” his relationship with Morphe in a new April 16 apology. The cosmetic company dropped the beauty YouTuber after recent grooming allegations. James Charles has cut ties with “long-term partner” Morphe over recent allegations of grooming. “I’ve loved every moment working together, and am beyond grateful for what we’ve created together,” he said in an April 16 statement. As of the time of publishing, the James Charles palette, mini palette, and brush set are still available on Morphe’s website. Charles, age 21, has been accused by numerous people of grooming minors online. However, some of the accusations have reportedly been fabricated. “Many other people have come forward with a series of misleading stories and false allegations which have been reported on by many people, creators, and news outlets,” he added on April 16. “My legal team has begun taking action against those that have spread misinformation, as this has gone too far.” Charles added he put trust into “individuals who told me they were over the age 18,” but ultimately took accountability for his actions. “Accountability is something that I have spoken about a number of times in the past. In my most recent video, I spoke about and took accountability for my part in conversations I had with a few individuals.” He is currently on hiatus from social media, but hopes to return and continue creating content for his 25 million YouTube subscribers. “I am continuing to take time away to learn, grow, and listen, and look forward to coming back one day in the future as a better version of myself.” “I can’t show change overnight but will over time.”

Mori Calliope’s Universal Music deal might cause problems for other Hololive stars – Dexerto
Mori Calliope’s Universal Music deal might cause problems for other Hololive stars YouTube: Mori CalliopeMori Calliope has penned a major deal with Universal Music as the Hololive star continues her booming career as an artist. However, there’s concerns her new tracks will pose a DMCA threat to other stars — something Calli is trying to avoid. Mori Calliope is not just growing in the VTuber space, but the musical one too. After smashing through 2 million YouTube subscribers, then releasing her first full-length album, the reaper rapper has now penned a deal with Universal Music to further grow her booming career. However, with the signing, there could be problems for fellow Hololive talents. Universal Music are known for being heavy-handed on DMCA notices on their music, and Calli’s will not be excluded. Given the popularity of karaoke in the VTuber space too, those stars will not be able to cover her new tracks. Calli is doing her best to try and avoid that situation though. “Let me ask about that [DMCA problem] cause I would not like that, but it’s something that we kind of have to figure it out,” she explained. “What I would love to do is figure out a way to whitelist Holo channels, but it might take time. It’s a work in progress.” Calli did explain that she will still get monetization from all the copyright things as part of her deal with Universal Music, so there’s no reason to “freak out” about that. “It’s the same thing happening when you’d get the Content ID on my Hololive stuff when I was with Cover — it still comes to me.” The related segment begins at 1:07:41. However, she especially wants fellow Hololive stars to cover her music and use it in their streams, much like how Calli has shared other stars’ songs in the past. “I will see what I can do about the karaoke because I know there are Holo [members] who will want to sing my songs,” she said. “All of my previous works are fine [to use], they will stay how they are. Like Red, and everything from UnAlive and Your Mori and the Deadbeats EP. All of that stays the same. It’s only songs from now on. “I will try my best for you, because wouldn’t that fricken suck if I was singing my new songs on stream and then all of a sudden the whole operation gets shut down? Let me figure it out. I think it’ll be okay.” It’s not going to stop Calli’s regular content schedule though. While she figures out the DMCA issues with her label, she’s going to continue playing games like Elden Ring, Terraria, Bloodborne, and Ring Fit Adventure.

Mormon influencer Taylor Frankie Paul arrested for alleged domestic violence – Dexerto
Mormon influencer Taylor Frankie Paul arrested for alleged domestic violence Instagram: taylorfrankiepaulTaylor Paul, an influencer active on multiple social media platforms, has been arrested by Herriman City Police Department claiming probable cause for the commission of domestic violence. Taylor Paul is a Mormon TikToker with an impressive 4 million followers on the platform. A couple of months ago she was shrouded in controversy when she admitted to “swinging.” New York Post reportedly obtained records from the Salt Lake City Police Department which stated that Taylor Frankie Paul has been arrested on February 19 for a count of domestic violence in the presence of a child. This has been followed up as of February 24 by the Herriman PD releasing an official statement regarding the situation. Taylor Paul arrested by the Herriman Police Department In the statement, Herriman PD reports that police officers arrested Taylor on the ground of probable cause for the commission of domestic violence in the presence of a child among other things. “Following her jail booking, detectives received additional video evidence related to this case,” the report continues. “This evidence also suggests that during the incident, Ms. Paul’s minor child was injured by an action of Ms. Paul. Subsequently, our investigators are also screening a misdemeanor charge of reckless child abuse with the District Attorney’s Office.” The statement assured that Taylor Paul’s status as a social media influencer has no bearing on this case or its outcome. Names of the victims of this incident, their statements, and their condition will not be made public by the department. The case will be processed by the DA’s office, then the criminal justice system. As with any other citizen of the United States, Taylor is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. As this situation is still ongoing, it’s still unclear what happened and who was involved, but Dexerto will provide further coverage as new information comes to light.

Mori Calliope reveals Hololive EN’s highly-anticipated 3D VTuber model debut date – Dexerto
Mori Calliope reveals Hololive EN’s highly-anticipated 3D VTuber model debut date YouTube: Mori CalliopeHololive EN are finally getting their highly-anticipated 3D models, with star VTuber Mori Calliope teasing the debut date on stream. It comes after years of streaming with Live2D rigs, and opens the door to more content opportunities. In the world of VTubing, getting a 3D rig means business. They can be a bit more intense to set up, but open up stars to a lot more content opportunities. For Hololive EN — arguably the biggest VTubing group on the planet — all they’ve known is their Live2D models. Promises of a 3D model have been whispered, but nothing locked in. Now though, a date is in place and the hype is real. The grim reaper’s apprentice herself, Mori Calliope, confirmed the Hololive EN VTubers (at least the first generation streamers) will be getting 3D VTuber models in time for their March 19 concert at SUPER EXPO 2022. “A lot of people have been asking about our appearance at the Makuhari Festival [SUPER EXPO 2022] — I think maybe some people have already talked about it unless I’m the first to announce — we will be performing in 3D,” she confirmed on February 2. “We [Hololive EN] are all performing in 3D. They figured out how to make it happen and everybody will be performing live in 3D. It’ll be our very first 3D appearance ever, singing and dancing.” Mori added a number of the Indonesian idols would be getting 3D models at the same event, with full details to be revealed closer to the debut timing. It’s unusual to debut a new model at a concert instead of on stream, but Calli stated it was a necessity to “skip debut” so they could perform on stage. However, it’s opened the door to more content opportunities into the future. “As a matter of fact, 3D things may continue after that for people as they like. After that happens, the doors to 3D for all of us are open,” she explained. The related segment begins at 3:47:00. “It sucks about the debut situation. I know there are going to be people who aren’t happy about that and the girls aren’t going to be in Japan, but just know that we found a way to make it work and I think you guys are going to like it and be excited.” While most of the Hololive talents are yet to meet in person, and this concert was meant to be a way to do so, Calli and the rest of the talents are excited to keep pushing forward with new content in their upgraded models. “It could be another year [before an in-person meeting]. It’s starting to get unfortunate, not just for me, but for the others as well who have the capabilities to do 3D at home,” she admitted. “It’ll still be a special day when we meet IRL in Japan. I don’t think this is going to take away any of that specialness, but I think it’s time for us to start moving forward with our 3D activities.”

Hololive star Mori Calliope releases SINDERELLA, her first major album – Dexerto
Hololive star Mori Calliope releases SINDERELLA, her first major album Universal Music / Mori CalliopeMori Calliope’s first major album with Universal Music, SINDERELLA, has release as of December 16, 2022. The ten-track release is based on the seven deadly sins — plus some extras — and the rapper reaper is hyping it up as her best work yet. Mori Calliope has been on the music grind in 2022. Releasing her first full album at the start of the year with UnAlive, she’s since signed with Universal Music and produced an EP with them. Now she’s got her first major album with the label coming up, named SINDERELLA. The rapper reaper of Hololive English gave fans a teaser on October 10, with preorders opening on the same day. Limited Edition presses of the CD sold out within minutes, with the album coming to streaming platforms on December 16, 2022. Mori Calliope’s SINDERELLA album theme and tracklist Mori Calliope’s SINDERELLA album theme is all in the title: sins. The VTuber knows a thing or two about those deadly vices from her backstory, and she wanted to explore that a bit further in her debut album with Universal. “Initially I wanted to make something about the seven deadly sins, but albums should have about 10 tracks in there, so I came up with my own other three things I’ve been guilty of,” she told fans. “It’s a really interesting concept, so I hope you guys will like it. However it’s not full of angst, with Calli trying to find a balance in tone: “It’s not necessarily me calling out other people. It’s an introspective album as well. Not all the songs are edgy or dark either, there’s some happy ones too.” The exact tracklist hasn’t been confirmed, but the teaser lists out the seven sins — Pride, Wrath, Lust, Greed, Slot, Envy, and Gluttony — with three bonus ones in Too Much Internet, Self Hate, and Envy. These will be the general themes of each song, and perhaps the titles. After churning through the releases over the last two years, Calli believes SINDERELLA will be her best work yet. “I feel like when I started working on the EP [SHINIGAMI NOTE], I wasn’t doing my best. Maybe I was nervous or scared, but halfway through the EP production I started really getting particular about every single line. With this album, from the beginning, every single time there wasn’t a take I liked I went back and redid it. “This album is going to have quite a bit more Japanese in it, but it’s still mostly English. I just wanted to return to my Japanese rap roots. There’s some Japanese rock in there too, and much like UnAlive I think it’s a little more cohesive and consistent, but every song sounds super different and I think that’s important. That was a critique I wanted to take to heart for this and make sure every single one was unique in its own way.” Mori Calliope’s SINDERELLA album tracklist Taste of Death – Wanted, Wasted – I’m Greedy – Internet Brain Rot – NEZUMI Scheme – soul food – CRINGECORE – Dance Past Midnight (ft. AmaLee) – Death Sentence – glass slipper – Mori Calliope’s SINDERELLA album release date Mori Calliope’s SINDERELLA went live on streaming platforms come December 16, 2022. Pre-ordered CDs were also be shipped around the same time.

Mori Calliope reveals how mom almost doxxed Hololive star after being too proud – Dexerto
Mori Calliope reveals how mom almost doxxed Hololive star after being too proud YouTube: Mori CalliopeEven after reaching the lofty heights of fame as the Hololive-managed Mori Calliope has, parents can, and will, always be able to bring you down to Earth. As revealed on-stream on March 24, Calli’s mom, AKA Mama Mori, almost doxxed her daughter in public by proudly gushing to a cashier. Mori Calliope is one of the English speaking members of the Hololive empire with hundreds of millions of video views on YouTube as well as tens of millions of plays on Spotify. There is a human side to the reaper rapper though. Despite the stratospheric rise of the VTuber over the past two years, her mom still finds ways to remind the virtual superstar of exactly where she’s come from. As revealed on-stream, the proud mother couldn’t help herself on a recent shopping trip and almost spilled all the beans about the enigmatic superstar. Mori Calliope retold the tale to her fans on March 24. “Mama Mori leans over the cashier register and whispers, and says ‘she’s a super famous VTuber.’ I looked over and I was like ‘Mom! Shut up! Don’t tell them that!’” Realizing how close she had come to outing her real-life self, Calli said she feared she had been recognized by the cashier: “One of the girls behind the cash register, she had big eyes, like she knew what a VTuber was.” Explaining to her mom the situation, Calli kept it light, yet factual. “I told Mama Mori, you can’t do that Mama Mori, it’s dangerous,” before ending the thought with “Big Parent Energy, right?” While the story is funny in hindsight, Calli continued to talk about how closely guarded a secret her identity is, and the reasons for that. “That girl with the big eyes, when she heard my mama say VTuber, if she knew who I was and suddenly listened to my voice real close. Dang! Scary situation.” Although this situation was harmless enough, and nothing more than a proud mother being a bit too proud in public, Calli’s reaction brings home her need for privacy while out and about in the real world. “Yeah Mama, it puts me on the spot, puts me in scary situations. Hololive is huge now!” With her fanbase showing deep support for both Mori Calliope and Mama Mori, the reaction was one that many have felt in their time. As stated in the top comment on the highlight from the stream: “When you get a proud parent started, there’s no slowing them down”

Mori Calliope refuses to play Cards Against Humanity over fear of getting fired – Dexerto
Mori Calliope refuses to play Cards Against Humanity over fear of getting fired HololiveHololive Vtuber Mori Calliope refused to play Cards Against Humanity on stream, believing that the “adult card game,” would get her and her colleagues all fired. Some Vtubers work for agencies like Nijisanji and Hololive which restricts what they can say and do on stream. These restrictions are imposed for all kinds of reasons from wanting not to offend viewers, scaring off potential sponsors, and avoiding copyright infringement. The latter is especially important in Japan where many Vtuber agencies are based due to strict copyright laws. In extreme cases, failure to comply with these rules has seen Vtubers lose their job, as seen with ex-Nijisanji member Zaion Lanza. Mori Calliope has no plans of becoming the latest victim of such perceived carelessness. Mori Calliope shuts down Cards Against Humanity stream idea Mori Calliope was talking on stream about her experience playing card games on vacation. One card game that came up was Cards Against Humanity but Calli made it clear she has no plans to stream it. “When I was vacationing with Milky it was so fun. Me and the gals were all playing some card games, some adult card games. I think you know what we’re talking about there,” she said. “A little Poker as well. Ah yes, Uno my favorite adult game. No not strip Poker! I was talking about Cards Against Humanity. The one that’s a really bad game.” Responding to a viewer asking for a Cards Against Humanity stream Calli declared: “No, we’d all be fired. That can’t happen. Listen, we know the limitations. We know them.” Although rare, it isn’t unheard of for corporate Vtubers to play Cards Against Humanity on stream. Nijisanji EN members Selen Tatsuki, Fulgur Ovid, Enna Allouette, and Vox Akuma played the spicy card game in December 2022. Selen later responded in the VOD’s comments admitting: “This VOD almost got privated but I fought for it to stay archived and that’s why it’s here even to this day. If we went even a little bit further, I don’t think it would have survived.” It’s no surprise that Cards Against Humanity is such a risky game for corporate Vtubers to play. The adult card game involves finishing sentences using the cards in your hand to create the funniest phrase possible. Many of the cards in the deck are extremely controversial or unhinged. For the sake of Hololive’s reputation and to avoid unnecessary drama, Mori Calliope probably made the right call to not play it on stream.

Mori Calliope explains why part of her 24-hour stream was suddenly taken down – Dexerto
Mori Calliope explains why part of her 24-hour stream was suddenly taken down YouTube: Mori CalliopeHololive’s Mori Calliope has explained why the VOD from part of her 24-hour stream was suddenly taken down from her YouTube channel. Over the last three years, Hololive VTuber Mori Calliope has skyrocketed in popularity, amassing over two million subscribers on her YouTube channel. The Vtuber agency’s “grim reaper idol” is known for creating her own original music, often singing or rapping on stream, and dropped her first major album release in December 2022. After part one of her recent 24-hour stream went up as a VOD on her channel, it was suddenly removed. Shortly after, Mori Calliope revealed what caused it to be taken down. Mori Calliope reveals why stream VOD was removed Later on in her stream, one of Mori Calliope’s viewers asked about the first part of her VOD. They asked: “What happened to the first one?” “The first VOD? Karaoke problems,” she revealed. “There were songs that I was given the okay to sing but they still got struck and they blocked the whole VOD. “[I’m] trying to file a dispute. We’ll see [what happens.] I begged in the staff chat ‘Please!’ It was auto claimed so they should be able to fix it. At least I hope so.” She also revealed that she planned to remove part two of the stream anyway, but it appears that the Hololive star has scheduled a rebroadcast of part one as a way to get it back up for viewers. It’s unknown whether or not she figured out the copyright issues, however, as it’s quite possible she’s removed the offending songs from the VOD. Fans will have to wait to see when the stream goes live. For more Mori Calliope news, check out her custom branded Hyte computer case.

Mori Calliope’s first solo concert blew fans away, but Hololive star had doubts – Dexerto
Mori Calliope’s first solo concert blew fans away, but Hololive star had doubts YouTube: Mori CalliopeMori Calliope finally achieved one of her big goals as a VTuber, going on stage in 3D and performing a solo concert in front of tens of thousands. However, it wasn’t all smiles for the Hololive star, who went into her July 21 performance with big doubts. When Mori Calliope joined Hololive in 2020, one of her big goals was to get on stage and perform in front of a crowd. The rapper reaper has been grinding in the underworld in the years since, and finally got to that stage on July 21 with her debut “New Underworld Order” concert. The sneak peek VOD, which has been watched by more than 300,000 people within 24 hours, blew fans away — and those who spent the $50 on a full-access ticket said it was worth every dime. With fans in the crowd at Tokyo’s Toyosu Pit jumping for joy and waving their lightsticks, it was a lot for Calli to take in. Despite all the fanfare, the star had her doubts about how the concert would actually go. “When I got to the actual venue for rehearsal, I was super down,” she admitted on stream the day after. “I don’t know what it was. I wasn’t in a good mood and I was looking at myself thinking — it’s not that I want to put down my own success but I was starting to think to myself whether I was washed up. Maybe I’m not doing as well as I used to be. Maybe it’s over.” However, Calli’s mentality changed when she started seeing fans flock into the hall, as well as in chat. “I saw guys of course but I saw high school girls and older women, old guys, young guys, couples there together,” she continued. “There was one girl with her boyfriend and she was jumping up and down because she was so excited. I saw how happy they were and they came for me. They came to see me perform and me sing and make them happy. “It was the same at the end of the show when I saw everyone leaving. I saw people getting so excited and bobbing their heads to the music. I instantly felt a smile spread across my face and I felt so stupid for thinking I was maybe washed up. Even if I was washed up and not doing well, that’s not the reason why I do this — I do this for those people. “When I look over to chat too, the chat was going wild with people so excited and happy. I don’t know why I felt so down. All of those people in the crowd, in chat, they were real. That really helped me feel better about everything.” While the exact number of paying fans isn’t public, the response online points towards tens, if not hundreds of thousands praising Calli for her first concert. The 24-song performance, including a hype encore that left the star red “like a tomato” (and like the song) was well received, making all the effort worth it in her eyes. “I don’t know how we did it, to be completely honest, but you guys could hear by the end that I was gone. “As soon as I got off the floor, I walked to the back at full speed and Universal people were waiting. Their faces turned to horror when they saw my face was actually a tomato. The first thing I did was explode to the backstage and go to the shower, and I looked at my face in the shower and I was like ‘bro no f**king way’. My arms too — it looked like I had sunburn.” “It was a happy exhaustion. I need to let myself have a break. I need to not stream for a minute. I am going to let myself have a couple of days.”

Mori Calliope asks Hololive fans to not be “weird” about Rushia after removal – Dexerto
Mori Calliope asks Hololive fans to not be “weird” about Rushia after removal YouTube: Uruha Rushia / YouTube: Mori CalliopeHololive EN star Mori Calliope has told fans despite her removal, Uruha Rushia will not be a “taboo” subject to bring up. Calli has asked fans to stop “this weirdness conception going around” forgetting about her legacy, saying she will “fondly remember” Rushia. Uruha Rushia’s sudden termination from Hololive on February 24 has been the hot topic in VTuber circles for the past week. The star, who had 1.6 million YouTube subscribers, was fired by Cover Corp for breaching her contract “by leaking information that she acquired from the company… and caused the company to suffer reputational damage.” Many Hololive stars have spoken out about Rushia’s departure, including her genmates as well as first generation veteran Shirakami Fubuki. Mori Calliope wanted to clear the air too, telling fans that although because she left suddenly, Rushia wasn’t all of a sudden going to be an unspeakable “taboo” topic on stream. “I think it’s fine for me to talk pretty openly about this because some time has passed,” she opened up her February 26 stream with. “All of you are pretty aware of the situation that has occurred with my senpai, Rushia, and her contract was terminated. “I’m sorry if my reaction on Twitter was a bit jarring — I was very shocked at the moment of finding out.” Calli originally tweeted on February 24, just minutes after the announcement: “I don’t even know what to say right now. I’m canceling tomorrow’s stream, I feel sick to my stomach. Please take care of yourselves.” While she stressed that it was a “very serious situation,” Calli reassured fans she would remember Rushia’s legacy. She also doesn’t want to tip-toe around the subject — as long as you don’t ask her about the reasons why she left, she will keep talking about Rushia. “I’m going to miss my friend very dearly, and I still hold her in my heart as a member of Hololive Fantasy and HOLODEATH [the trio of Calli, Rushia, and Kureiji Ollie]. I will always love Rushia-senpai,” she explained. The related segment begins at 6:21 below. “The main point I want to drive home is that her name isn’t a taboo here. You can talk about it. If you see anything like ‘necromancer’ related or ‘a beautiful lady with huge boing-boings,’ you’re allowed to talk about it! “I don’t want this weirdness conception going around that we’re just going to forget because I’m not.” While HOLODEATH might only now be a duo, Rushia’s legacy on that small group — as well as Hololive — will live on long past her departure, and Calli wants to cherish that. “In the same way that I fondly remember those who have come before, I’m going to continue doing that for her as well.”

Mori Calliope cracks down on “distasteful” superchats on YouTube stream – Dexerto
Mori Calliope cracks down on “distasteful” superchats on YouTube stream YouTube: Mori CalliopeWith some viewers using “distasteful” superchats to spread hate on her YouTube stream, Mori Calliope has had enough. The Hololive star is cracking down, stopping readings, and even giving money to up and coming VTubers if viewers make toxic donations. Being one of the most popular VTubers on the planet, Mori Calliope has made millions off of YouTube’s inbuilt superchat system — $1.7 million to be exact. The donations, which work similarly to Twitch ones, pop up on stream with a little message. VTubers like Calli also give viewers special shoutouts for the donations in big reading sessions. However, after a rise in hateful comments in superchat donations, Hololive’s reaper is putting her foot down and cracking down on the harassment. “This isn’t meant to tip anyone off, make anybody angry, but I won’t be reading all akasupas ($100 superchats) pending on my discretion. Some pretty high level superchats have been utilized to send some nasty things recently,” Calli admitted in a January 17 stream. “Usually, I choose to ignore them and not read them, but I’ve slipped up a little bit and put down my guard, so that’s how it’s going to go.” Instead of giving her “deadbeats” the privilege of having all their comments read out, she’s going to start using her donations to support those being harassed in the star’s chat. This money can be used to support either up and coming VTubers who get ridiculed in the superchats, or just pushed around to fellow Hololive streamers. The related segment begins at 36:10. The major point is Mori Calliope is trying to build a more considerate community — even though “99.9% of [them] have the best intentions” — and cracking down on superchats is the start. “I don’t mean to hurt any feelings because I do care about you guys,” she added. “However, if you do choose to send superchats that ridicule or say distasteful things about other people in general, I will take that money and will go to their stream and give it to them. “Maybe consider not doing that if that is okay. That is what is going to happen. You shouldn’t do that because I’m just going to go give it to them. Is it that hard to just be cool?”

Mori Calliope admits 2022 has “been rough” but Hololive star vows to push through – Dexerto
Mori Calliope admits 2022 has “been rough” but Hololive star vows to push through YouTube: Mori CalliopeHololive star Mori Calliope has been making big moves in 2022. However, it’s still “been a rough year” for the rapper reaper as critics nitpick her every move. Calli is pledging to push through the noise though — for herself, her fans, and her family. Hololive star Mori Calliope has had a huge 2022. Between penning a big music deal, working towards her first major album, and having a mega solo debut concert, there’s been a lot going on. The star has been breaking milestones, but in the process, stepping on a few eggs. She’s been the target of much criticism from haters patronizing her every move, something which has made 2022 “a pretty rough year” for her despite all the success. However, the star has vowed to push through and better herself. She knows she can stand up to the comments, but she wants to make sure her fandom — and most importantly, her family — isn’t affected by what’s thrown around online. “I don’t get sad, but I always worry a bit when you guys worry about me,” she explained while chilling on stream. “I know you guys are always bopping around on the internet and stuff like that. I just don’t want you to worry about me, I’m fine. I worry about you guys. “It’s been a pretty rough year for me. There’s just been a lot going on. The kind of thing that’s at the forefront of my mind though is I just feel bad for a lot of my fans. “Sometimes I just think about you guys, I’ve been in a position a long time ago when I was in high school and stuff like that, being told things I liked were sh*t and people who I thought were cool were sh*t. It didn’t feel good, so I just worry about y’all.” Calli has been caught in the crossfire of critics calling her music “cultural appropriation”, and no matter what the star does there always seems to be some who can’t drop it. She has managed to mute out that toxicity, but she’s worried about how those close to her will receive that. “My mom, it’s the same. She’s always looking me up and my mom is interested in what I do. She’s all over the place [online] and I’m more worried about her than myself,” Calli continued. “I’m strong, but it gets kind of hard when your mom sees harsh things people are saying about her daughter. I want to be better for you guys, so I am going to try and be better for my mom and my family. I want to see my mom smile and not be worried. I’m okay though — I’ve got thick skin — but when it affects other people that’s when I get… ‘ah damnit.’” With all that being said, Calli is eternally grateful for the millions of Deadbeats who have supported her every step of the way, especially so in 2022 with so many big moves being made. “You guys always show me a fun time. There’s always fun things to talk about with you guys, and I always love making music. It’s the thing that makes me the happiest in the world. I think I’ll keep doing it with you guys here by my side, following me along. “You guys are the best, thank you.”

Morgpie banned on Twitch after streamer’s ‘topless’ meta sparks backlash – Dexerto
Morgpie banned on Twitch after streamer’s ‘topless’ meta sparks backlash Instagram: bigguswombusStreamer, cosplayer, and OnlyFans creator ‘Morgpie’ has been banned on Twitch after one of her broadcasts taking part in the site’s new ‘topless meta’ sparked backlash. Twitch has been inundated with various different ‘metas’ in the past. From hot tub streams to ASMR broadcasts and more, there’s no shortage of trends that sweep the site — often to the tune of frustration from many viewers. That’s because a number of these ‘metas’ seemingly skirt Twitch’s guidelines on acceptable content. While the platform has created a ‘Pools, Hot Tubs & Beaches’ category, a fair few netizens are still frustrated with the method some broadcasters use to get views. Now, a new meta is taking over Twitch. This recent strat shows female streamers seemingly topless, with the camera cutting off just above any sensitive bits. This ‘topless’ meta was recently popularized by ‘Morgpie,’ a cosplayer and OnlyFans creator who also streams on Twitch. Morgpie banned on Twitch after ‘topless meta’ backlash A clip from Morgpie’s stream went viral on social media, sparking backlash from viewers who were confused and upset by the streamer’s strategy — and the fact that she was able to keep streaming without getting quickly banned. Three days after Morgpie’s stream took over the internet, she was banned on Twitch. Although Twitch doesn’t comment on individual bans, a message on her channel reads: “This channel is currently unavailable due to a violation of Twitch’s Community Guidelines or Terms of Service.” Twitch’s Community Guidelines on Adult Nudity notably prohibit female presenting individuals from showing “breasts with exposed nipples,” unless they are “actively breastfeeding a child.” It’s currently unclear how long Morgpie’s ban will last. Although the streamer has yet to directly comment on her ban at the time of writing, she has reached out to Twitch Support on Twitter/X to ask how much money she raised in a charity stream prior to her suspension. For more streamer news and entertainment, keep it locked to Dexerto.

Morgz leaks RiceGum DMs after YouTube diss – Dexerto
Morgz leaks RiceGum DMs after YouTube diss YouTube: RiceGum / Instagram: MorgzBritish YouTuber Morgan ‘Morgz’ Hudson has released screenshots of a private conversation with Brian ‘RiceGum’ Le after the American uploaded a video to his channel where he labeled the Hudsons as “the worst family on YouTube.” Morgz is one of the most popular content creators on the video-sharing platform, with his uploads regularly drawing over three million views. He’s even hosted a special event called “MorgzFest” where fans could meet him, his family, and even watch a live show. While the 18-year-old attracts millions to his videos, RiceGum clearly isn’t a fan, releasing a video taking shots at Morgz and his content. After watching some of the Morgz’s videos, RiceGum told his audience that they needed to “tone it down,” that their content was clearly fake, and that the acting in them was “so bad.” “You all really let this kid get more views than me?” the 22-year-old asked his viewers. “Who is watching this? How does this get famous? You guys are messed up, you guys are lying to your viewers, and you’re kind of cringey.” In response, Morgz tweeted out a series of images showing that RiceGum had blocked him on Twitter, and revealed direct messages sent between the pair with the caption: “You hate to see it.” In a screenshot of an apparent conversation which took place on January 3, 2019, RiceGum apparently sent Morgz three messages, with one stating “Good stuff man,” and another including an offer to collaborate together, saying: “Lets make a funny (video).” RiceGum has refrained from responding to Morgz and his decision, maintaining radio silence on Twitter, and has yet to upload a video since his September 7 roasting of the Hudson family. The American is well known for dropping diss tricks, so it’s possible he may decide to respond in the form of a musical bashing, although there’s no official word on when he could respond to Morgz and his tweet.

More YouTubers may be fighting on the KSI vs Logan Paul 2 undercard – Dexerto
More YouTubers may be fighting on the KSI vs Logan Paul 2 undercard imPaulsive, KSI vs Logan Paul – YouTubeYouTube stars Logan Paul and KSI are set to touch gloves on November 9 in one of the net’s most highly-anticipated boxing rematches yet – but boxing promoter Eddie Hearn is making a big change in comparison to last year’s fight. While the YouTubers’ initial bout in August 2018 featured an undercard full of social media stars, this time, the grudge match is “going pro,” with Logan Paul and KSI being the only internet celebs featured in the event. Hearn explained his reasoning for the change as a means to bring fresh eyes to the historic sport of boxing, claiming that the rematch “is a chance for boxing to bring in new fans …to show them the greatness of our sport.” However, Hearn may have changed his tune to his “no YouTubers” undercard, as stated during an episode of Logan Paul’s ‘imPaulsive’ podcast where he appeared to entertain the idea of featuring other social media celebs – if they’re up to snuff. “It’s not that I’m against YouTubers on the card, it’s just that when I was speaking to the boxing media, I’m sort of saying, ‘This isn’t gonna be a YouTuber event. This is a YouTube fight, but they’re pro fighters,’” Hearn explained. “…it’s not that I’m ruling out other fights on the card – that’s a conversation to be had with us and DAZN and you guys, as well.” (Timestamp: 11:09 for mobile viewers) Hearn also addressed concerns from Jake Paul, who uploaded a video begging to be featured both in the press conference and the undercard – but it looks like organizers are hoping for the Team 10 co-founder to fight in a separate event, altogether. “It’s just about strategy moving forward,” Hearn continued. “We can’t just make our business like, ‘Oh yeah, everybody – do you wanna go? Do you wanna go?’ There’s got to be strategy, and there’s gotta be skill. …I probably want you to fight a pro. A very limited pro.” Although Jake Paul still has his issues with the idea, an official lineup for the undercard remains to be seen – but it doesn’t look like the possibility of other YouTubers fighting on the card is completely out of the question. KSI vs Logan Paul 2 will throw down in the Los Angeles Staples Center on November 9, bringing with it a new era of “YouTube boxing” – but exactly how many “YouTubers” will partake in the event is up in the air.

Morgan Wallen porta-potty brawl explained: Girl in viral fight reveals what happened – Dexerto
Morgan Wallen porta-potty brawl explained: Girl in viral fight reveals what happened Twitter/Barstool/Instagram/ddisabato40The internet is going wild over a viral fight at a Morgan Wallen concert in Pittsburgh where two women brawled in porta potties of all things. On August 31, viral footage spread of two women getting into a violent confrontation at a concert in one of the most insane fights we’ve ever seen. The video began with the two women exchanging words and soon got physical with one another by pushing and shoving each other around porta potties. Eventually, the fight moved inside of one where two other women joined the battle including one blonde who decided to end it. Eventually, the blonde began fighting off one foe before turning her attention back to the other by slamming her into the porta-potty and delivering a stiff kick right to the face. Luckily, the group was separated soon thereafter. So, what happened? Girl in viral porta potty brawl at Morgan Wallen concert identified The internet was quick to find the woman on Instagram under the account name Dalanie DiSabato and she’s already embracing her “romper stomper” nickname. In an Instagram story, DiSabato claimed the fight is a “long story” but explained what happened to Barstool Sports, revealing that she had apparently cut in front of her soon-to-be dance partner. “This girl was pissed. She was mad. I hear this going on. So, I walked out and saw two girls ganging up on my mom so I did what any daughter would have done. I beat the f**k out of them,” she said. According to the fighter, she didn’t know either of the two girls she fought with, but the group went their separate ways following the beatdown. DiSabato says she doesn’t know what to do with her newfound viral fame, but she’s hardly the first girl to blow up on social media after a wild rumble. Last year, a Waffle House employee exploded in popularity after she duked it out with customers and deflected a chair thrown right at her head. Needless to say, a porta-potty is one of the worst places to fight and it’s going to take something truly special to top this crapshoot of a brawl.

More Non-Skippable Ads are Coming to Youtube – Dexerto
More Non-Skippable Ads are Coming to Youtube YouTube logo – YouTubeYouTube’s Creator Insider channel explained why new changes are coming to the platform in regards to advertisements. YouTube is known for having both skippable and non-skippable ads, which play just before a video begins. A video on YouTube’s Creator Insider channel broke down two big changes that will soon be implemented for the non-skippable sort. The first change coming to non-skippable ads is a maximum length, now capped at a total of 15-20 seconds. The second upcoming change will likely increase the amount of non-skippable ads seen across the platform, as the option to implement this type of advertisement will be available for all creators affiliated with YouTube’s Partner Program. Creators are more likely to implement this kind of advertisement due to their higher value. Since advertisers are willing to pay more for non-skippable ads, creators will earn more revenue by using them, meaning a bigger payout per video. “Non-Skippable ads tend to make a little bit more money than skippable ads, because generally advertisers are willing to pay a bit more for them.” However, this change isn’t solely available for new videos – both non-skippable and skippable ads will be implemented for creators’ older uploads, provided that they are already monetized. YouTube’s creator for advertisement monetization stated that the company feels the change will be a positive one for creators and viewers alike. “We think, for most creators, it’s gonna be a really good thing… everything is going to be really positive for creators.” The video stated that the changes would be rolled out in a week’s time – with the upload date being August 23rd, viewers could be seeing more non-skippable ads very soon.

More VTubers break into top streamers list as medium continues explosive growth – Dexerto
More VTubers break into top streamers list as medium continues explosive growth YouTube: Hakui KoyoriVTubers are continuing their dominant rise on Twitch and YouTube, with five creators making up the top 10 women streamers across all platforms according to Stream Hatchet. However, the number could be even higher. VTubing was once seen as just a fad that’d fade into obscurity after 2020’s drastic boom. However, that couldn’t be further from the truth as month after month, new VTubers continue breaking records and equalling their flesh counterparts. In fact, it might soon reach a tipping point, especially in the female streaming community. As of Q3 2022, according to Stream Hatchet, half of the top 10 women streamers are VTubers from various different agencies. Usada Pekora and Sakura Miko top the list in second and third with 7 million and 5.9 million hours watched respectively. They only trail Amouranth, who had 8.6 million over the three months. Hakui Koyori of Hololive and Yuki Chihiro of NIJISANJI made their debut appearances in the top 10 too in seventh and ninth, while VShojo star Ironmouse was the sole English VTuber on the list in eighth. However, the numbers may not be all they seem. According to VStats, Oozora Subaru’s 5.85 million hours watched, as well as Ars Almal’s 3.37 million, should qualify them for the top 10. Koyori was also reportedly missing 1.1 million hours watched, enough to push her to sixth place. This would move Subaru into fourth, while the list would be rounded out by Ironmouse, and Almal, putting six VTubers into the top 10. Regardless of the exact numbers, the general trends of VTubers growing on both YouTube and Twitch show how the medium can no longer be considered a fad.

More 10 ft ‘aliens’ spotted by hikers in Brazil after Miami mall incident – Dexerto
More 10 ft ‘aliens’ spotted by hikers in Brazil after Miami mall incident Twitter: metroukHikers in Brazil claim to have captured footage of more 10 ft tall ‘aliens’ after similar creatures were allegedly spotted in Miami mere days earlier. On New Year’s Day, a swarm of police pulled up to the Bayside Marketplace in Miami, Florida as a large group of “unruly juveniles” sparked a riot, setting off fireworks and causing a panic. Reports state that law enforcement received calls warning of a possible shooting, but this was not the case. The situation did, however, prompt a massive police presence at the open-air mall to get things under control. Many netizens weren’t convinced that so many police showed up just to settle down excitable teenagers, with some social media users claiming to see “8-10f shadow aliens” in viral footage taken from the incident. Now, more alleged footage of “aliens” is taking the internet by storm as hikers from Brazil claim to have seen two massive figures that they claim could be extraterrestrial. Hikers in Brazil capture footage of “10 ft tall aliens” after viral Miami mall incident On January 6, videos began circling social media platforms showing verdant hills in Brazil backed by a bright blue sky. Atop one of the hills, which appears to be a good distance away, viewers can see two humanoid figures gesturing and making movements. It’s difficult to make out any distinguishing features on the figures, but judging by their size from the distance at which they were recorded, they look to be extremely tall. The footage was captured by Sara Dalete, who was hiking with her family at Brazil’s Ilha do Mel island when they spotted the creatures. Dalete claimed that the figures were about three meters tall and “moved very quickly,” although she claimed it wasn’t possible for her party to communicate with the figures or reach them on the hilltop. While a clip from the encounter is going viral online, a spokesperson for the Paraná State government reportedly mocked the incident, saying, “Our summer is from another world. Even strange beings come here to enjoy our coastline.” Miami police have also debunked any theories of aliens at the Bayside Marketplace, saying, “What is seen in this clip is the shadow of someone walking. If you look at the bottom of the shadow, you can see the person. No creature.”

More content creators leaving 100 Thieves as select 2HYPE members part ways with org – Dexerto
More content creators leaving 100 Thieves as select 2HYPE members part ways with org YouTube: 100 Thieves100 Thieves continues to bleed talent in 2023 as more popular content creators have parted ways with the organization, as select members of YouTube collective 2HYPE have announced plans to go their own way. Esports winter is in full swing as many of the industry’s biggest brands slim down in 2023. From mass layoffs across the likes of FaZe Clan, OpTic Gaming, and 100 Thieves, to name a few, it’s been a period of shrinkage across the board, a trend that’s only continuing to become more prevalent with each passing week. Outside of staff layoffs in Nadeshot’s LA-based organization, 100 Thieves has also seen the departure of multiple influencers. TinaKitten, neekolul, and AustinShow are among a handful of the brand’s most popular to leave the team behind in recent weeks, and now, the list of exiles continues to grow. Almost two and a half years since joining up, YouTube group 2HYPE has begun to phase out of the esports, entertainment, and apparel brand. The first to make their move public was Kristopher London, announcing his departure in a March 21 post on Twitter. “Left 100 Thieves on good terms,” he said. “Have nothing but love for the org and everyone a part of it. Thank you for the great memories. Excited for this next chapter of my life, big things ahead.” As for the other five members of the sports-based entertainment collective, their future with 100 Thieves remains unclear. With the last group video arriving on Christmas Day last year, the group has largely been on a hiatus ever since, with each member instead prioritizing their own individual content. It’s also been roughly the same stretch of time since any member of the 2HYPE group appeared in content on 100 Thieves’ own YouTube channel. Not the first time their future has been in question, 2HYPE’s continued partnership with the team came into question as early as 2021 as various controversies distanced members from one another. Exactly who else from the group might have called it quits, remains unclear, though London teased in a follow-up tweet that multiple other members have indeed parted ways with the org. “Some are staying, some left, but that’s for them to announce if they want,” he added. “We made a group decision to do what’s best for each of us individually since we taking a break on the group channel and just gonna be recording together on our personal channels.” This seemingly marks the end of a second group previously housed under the 100 Thieves banners, following on from The Mob’s messy departure in 2021, one that saw Froste lashing out at Nadeshot’s allegedly “predatory” ways a year later, a fact Nade quickly disputed with ample receipts in a thorough Twitch stream. As for what the future holds for the remaining 2HYPE members staying with the team, is anyone’s guess for now. Nadeshot nor co-owners CouRage and Valkyrae are yet to address the group’s dissolution. We’ll be sure to update you here as any further details emerge.

MOONMOON hits back at “egotistical” xQc after GTA RP glitch drama – Dexerto
MOONMOON hits back at “egotistical” xQc after GTA RP glitch drama Twitch: xQc / MOONMOONMOONMOON hit back at “egotistical” xQc after receiving “angry messages” from him following more GTA RP glitch drama, which involved a hectic shootout at the police station. Felix ‘xQC’ Lengyel has been a polarizing figure since joining NoPixel’s GTA RP server. He already got banned for breaking the rules and hitting people with his car. Now, the GTA RP community is calling for him to get banned again after he used a glitch to smuggle a gun into the police station while under arrest and fired at several officers. MOONMOON was one of the victims. Despite being more tolerant of xQc’s shenanigans than most other players, it seems like he’s finally reached his limit. He told fans he received “angry messages” from xQc, and he wasn’t thrilled about it. The message said: “Isn’t it ironic that you always try to look like the good guy and accuse me of fostering a negative environment, yet you mechanically swing everyone against me during that crusade?” xQc also accused him of “rallying the internet” against him because he couldn’t handle the heat from xQc’s viewers. MOONMOON vented about his viewers’ situation and claimed xQc had been given more chances than he deserves. “You used a glitch to teleport a gun into your hand and shoot all of us in the head in jail. You started whining about stalling in-character. You are so self-centered and egotistical.” He also believes xQc has been breaking the server rules on purpose. “I refuse to believe that you are getting banned on NoPixel because you are so ignorant of the rules. I refuse to believe you are doing that by accident. This is literally manufactured drama. Be honest.” MOONMOON said the situation made him “legitimately sad.” However, he wrapped things up by demanding an apology. “You either apologize to me or never speak to me again. Don’t try to put this on me.” xQc hasn’t responded yet. However, the situation has been a hot topic on social media, with fans sitting on either side of the fence. On the one hand, they understand that xQc’s viewership is doing wonders for NoPixel’s GTA RP server. But on the other, they believe nobody is above the rules and think he deserves to be banned once again.

MOONMOON lists all the painful things he’d rather do than play Overwatch – Dexerto
MOONMOON lists all the painful things he’d rather do than play Overwatch Popular Twitch streamer MOONMOON has shared a strange list of things he would rather do than return to the game that made saw him skyrocket on Twitch, Overwatch. MOONMOON is widely regarded as one of the most creative and entertaining streamers on the Amazon-owned platform, and for much of his streaming career, dedicated his time to one specific game — Overwatch. Unsurprisingly then, some of his viewers would love to see him make a return to the game that he played when they first started watching him, but as one fan found out, MOONMOON has absolutely no intention of logging back into Overwatch any time soon. During his December 4 stream, MOONMOON was trying out the remastered PC version of Halo Reach, hopping into match after match, until one viewer told him he should try “Overwatch grind game” in an attempt to reach top 500 in the world. The streamer shut this idea down at a rapid pace, making it clear he had n interest in playing Overwatch with a list of horrible things he would rather do than go back to the first-person shooter. “That sounds like fun,” he responded sarcastically. “I’m gonna throw that on a list of suggestions I’ve got here. I’ve got peel my own fingernails off, get waterboarded, have every individual hair left on my head pulled out one-by-one. I’ve got to get through those first and then we’ll play Overwatch again.” MOONMOON isn’t the only streamer to shut down his viewers recently, with Dr Disrespect roasting his impatient chat when they felt he had spent too long talking, and wanted him to hop into a game. One thing is for sure though, MOONMOON’s chat likely won’t be asking him to jump over to Overwatch again any time soon, and it seems certain that the Twitch streamer has absolutely no intention of doing so either.

MOONMOON baits subscriber into brutal Left 4 Dead 2 Charger death – Dexerto
MOONMOON baits subscriber into brutal Left 4 Dead 2 Charger death Twitch streamer MOONMOON pulled off an incredible baiting maneuver, leaving his teammate to fend for himself in exchange for his own life in a brutal Charger death in Left 4 Dead 2. MOONMOON, who has over 840,000 followers on Twitch, has been playing Left 4 Dead 2 with his subscribers, a game that requires the streamer and his team to work together and play roles correctly if they stand any chance of defeating the Infected. While working together is important, MOONMOON decided to take matters into his own hands while playing with his viewers, using one to bait a ginormous Charger so that it would take out his subscriber instead of him in a hilarious, but brutal moment. While battling their way down a hallway, MOONMOON led the charge, pistols in hand firing at the horde of infected running towards them. As they moved down the corridor, the streamer happened to glance into one of the rooms, and saw a massive Charger, who immediately spun and started sprinting towards him at speed. Knowing his loyal band of subscribers were behind him, MOONMOON used his teammates to his own advantage, standing in the doorway for as long as he could while his merry band followed on behind him. With the Charger nearly on him, ready to grab him and separate him from his pack, he stepped away from the door, leaving an unfortunate fan to face the wrath. The Charger zoomed out of the room, grabbing the first teammate it could find and flying out of the window, leaving MOONMOON in fits of laughter at what he had just accomplished. For streamers, playing with your subscribers is a great way to give back to those who support you, and often provides hilarious moments like this one. If you’re a MOONMOON sub though, it’s probably best to not follow directly behind him the next time you play Left 4 Dead 2, because you never know what kind of trap the streamer could be leading you into!

MoonMoon “gutted” over Pokimane leaving OfflineTV in bizarre reaction – Dexerto
MoonMoon “gutted” over Pokimane leaving OfflineTV in bizarre reaction Twitch streamer MoonMoon has claimed he’s “gutted” to see Pokimane leave popular content group OfflineTV. On May 19, Twitch streamer Imane ‘Pokimane’ Anys announced that she will no longer be full-time with OfflineTV. The Twitch star, who helped in creating the popular content creator group in 2017, revealed she’d be graduating from the collective that she helped found over half a decade ago. In the announcement, the 27-year-old shared that she’d be leaving OfflineTV to pursue a new project, which she kept tight-lipped. While fans of Pokimane were disappointed about her departure, other Twitch streamers don’t seem to be too affected. MoonMoon weighed in with a sarcastic, tongue-in-cheek rant to share his opinion on the matter. MoonMoon explains he’s gutted that Pokimane leave OfflineTV During his May 19 broadcast, MoonMoon was asked by a viewer in chat for his thoughts on Pokimane leaving OTV, to which he responded sharing how he’s gutted by her decision. “Honestly I was f**king gutted by the news, I was gutted,” he said. “I woke up today, went to LivestreamFail on my phone, I’m laying in bed bleary-eyed but still hopeful to meet the day, and then low and behold right there at the top of the f**king list, Pokimane has left OfflineTV.” MoonMoon continued, joking about how emotional he was by the announcement and claiming he threw his phone and pushed a child over. “And I f**king threw my phone across the room,” he joked. “Ripped my sheets off of my f**king bed, p*ssed in the corner man. Took out my clothes, and threw my sh*t out the window. “Dude, and you better believe, you better f**king believe I shoved my kid straight over.” MoonMoon was clearly joking and didn’t seem too concerned about the matter. It just goes to show that Twitch is a big platform, and even the biggest shifts can still be contained within their own little niche communities. According to Pokimane, her schedule became so jam-packed that it left her unable to consistently fulfill her OfflineTV obligations. Although, it seems she left the group on great terms, and there’s still a chance she may return in the future.

Monty Lopez spotted kissing TikTok star Ava Louise, gets roasted by Yung Gravy – Dexerto
Monty Lopez spotted kissing TikTok star Ava Louise, gets roasted by Yung Gravy TikTok: montylopez / Instagram: montylopez, avalouiiseAddison Rae’s dad, Monty Lopez, posted a TikTok video of himself smooching influencer Ava Louise… but rival Yung Gravy wasn’t exactly impressed. The beef between TikTok-famous dad Monty Lopez and American rapper Yung Gravy continues to take some unexpected twists and turns, but no one saw this particular moment coming. For those out of the loop, Addison Rae’s dad — Monty Lopez — was caught purportedly cheating on his wife, Sheri Easterling, this summer. Once this info came out, rapper Yung Gravy publicly flirted with Easterling in a podcast and a very pointed TikTok video, saying “has a thing for MILFs,” and even claimed that he and Sheri Easterling were “going on a date soon.” (Gravy has since stated that he and Sheri are now officially “involved.”) Lopez wasn’t too fond of this flirtation toward his wife and challenged Gravy to a boxing match, which the rapper politely declined. Click here if TikTok fails to load. It seems as though Lopez isn’t letting this particular feud go, as he had an unexpected jab toward Gravy that came in the form of a TikTok video uploaded on August 21, 2022. In the video, 46-year-old Lopez posed with twenty-something internet star Ava Louise at a charity fundraiser basketball game. The two then shared a quick smooch — a kiss that sent the internet into a tizzy. Click here if TikTok fails to load. Amid the outraged comments beneath Lopez’s video, Yung Gravy gave his response, saying: “My boy going high school gym teacher mode on ’em.” “Shut up and show up,” Lopez replied. Sources told Dexerto that Gravy had apparently been in Ava Louise’s DMs “all week,” which likely prompted Lopez’s sudden, smoochy clapback toward the ‘Betty’ rapper. Ava Louise is an influencer with nearly half a million followers on Instagram. She’s best known for her appearance in a video that went viral in 2020, where she notably licked a toilet seat as part of a failed internet ‘challenge.’ Ava Louise responds to viral TikTok kissing Monty Lopez Ava Louise has since posted a TikTok video responding to the drama surrounding her smooch with Lopez, which she stitched with another clip of a TikToker saying she was going to be “Addison Rae’s new step mom.” “This is going to be the most awkward family Thanksgiving of my life,” Ava said. “I was not prepared to be a mother at only 24 but I will do my best for my new daughter. I love you already @addisonre.” Click here if TikTok fails to load. This particular comment is only rubbing salt in the wound, as Louise also notably hit on TikTok star Bryce Hall back when he was dating Addison Rae. (Rae wasn’t exactly happy about that particular flirtation, at the time). It looks as though things have come full-circle… but it still doesn’t seem likely that Gravy will ever put on the boxing gloves to settle this feud with Monty in the ring, although he is “extremely excited” about a possible diss track from the TikTok dad.

Monty Lopez takes shots at Yung Gravy with ‘Sidedish’ diss track – Dexerto
Monty Lopez takes shots at Yung Gravy with ‘Sidedish’ diss track YouTube: Monty LopezAddison Rae’s father Monty Lopez has released a diss track on Yung Gravy, titled ‘Sidedish,’ following months of public drama with Sheri Easterling. In June 2022, it was alleged that TikTok star Addison Rae’s father, Monty Lopez, had cheated on her mother Sheri Easterling, prompting months of drama between the two via social media. In a podcast appearance, rapper Yung Gravy teased that he would soon be going on a date with Sheri, and sure enough, in August they attended the VMAs together in color-coordinated outfits, sharing a kiss on the red carpet. Responding to the kiss, Monty wrote on social media: “Unbothered! Thank you @yungravy for taking the leftovers! I would rather spend time with my daughter and 2 grandkids that Sheri Nicole made me abandon as a child in order to be with her! Never let a woman make you choose between her and or your blood child.” He went on to release a teaser for a diss track on Yung Gravy, and on September 25, he released the full track, titled ‘Sidedish,’ along with a music video. The video begins with a “caution” message, in which he explains: “This was pre-recorded at the time of the initial song leak. I would like to take a moment to apologize to my family and friends and others involved for the behavior I portrayed online and in person. Please take this as a lighthearted and comical spin on my life.” In the track, Monty says: “Cut your damn hair you be lookin’ like a housewife / Say that you a rapper you a singer that can not fight / If you need some help I could sell your ass a feature / Maybe help you get some press and a lil street cred.” He adds: “Didn’t have to go there but you did / Hippie ass boy bander lil kid / You can not speak to me or my kids / Cause we are A listers and you can not get in.” So far, the response to the track has not been entirely positive, with one user writing: “Yooo this stuff fire on mute.” Another wrote: “who let Monty out the retirement home?” Addison herself has stayed firmly out of her parent’s online drama, but the situation is continuing to generate controversy on social media.

Monty Lopez spotted kissing Renee Ash after “missing” ex Sheri Easterling – Dexerto
Monty Lopez spotted kissing Renee Ash after “missing” ex Sheri Easterling Instagram: renee.ash, montylopezFans are convinced that Addison Rae’s dad, Monty Lopez, is back together with influencer Renee Ash despite saying he was “broken” over his split from ex-wife Sheri Easterling. Monty Lopez is at the center of drama yet again after eagle-eyed fans noticed the TikTok-famous dad possibly posing with an old flame in an Instagram post. Over the summer, Lopez was exposed for purportedly cheating on then-wife Sheri Easterling with multiple younger women, one of them being Instagram influencer Renee Ash. Ash came forward about her relationship with Lopez shortly after the cheating claims went viral, saying that she’d been under the impression that he was separated from Sheri and claiming he’d “misled” her into an affair. “Unfortunately, he misled me on his marriage, he lied to me,” Ash said in a statement to PageSix. “He even introduced me to his mom, his youngest brother and I thought we had something real. He told me a story of his marriage that convinced me that they were apart and in the process of getting a divorce.” The two parted ways shortly thereafter, and Monty has been hopping from gal to gal in the interim — but recently admitted that he was “broken” after his split from Sheri and begged his ex-wife to take him back in a TikTok video. However, it looks like Ash and Monty might be back together if the model’s recent Instagram stories post is to be believed. Fans convinced Monty Lopez and Renee Ash are back together On November 15, Ash posted what many fans think is a photo of herself smooching Lopez. Unfortunately, the guy’s face is concealed, but viewers are all but convinced that the two influencers are back together in spite of their rocky history. That’s not all; Ash also says she’s spilling the tea on the next episode of the ‘Seriously Not Starf*ckers’ podcast. She appeared in a video on the show’s Instagram page, where she’s seen having a fake phone call with someone and says: “Hey babe, are you ready for another boxing match?” This could be referencing Monty’s desire to throw down with rapper Yung Gravy in the boxing ring, who he challenged after the artist openly flirted with Sheri earlier this year. For now, it’s still unclear if Lopez and Ash are actually seeing each other or not, but it’s looking quite likely that this old spark has been reignited.

Monty Lopez reveals relationship status amid Sheri Easterling drama – Dexerto
Monty Lopez reveals relationship status amid Sheri Easterling drama TikTok: montyjlopezAddison Rae’s dad, Monty Lopez, has given fans an update on his relationship status as ex-wife Sheri Easterling, Rae’s mom, has apparently broken things off with Yung Gravy. Addison Rae’s family has been wracked with drama ever since her father, Monty Lopez, was reportedly caught cheating on his now ex-wife Sheri Easterling with younger women. Since then, the Rae family has been caught up in headline after headline, especially after Sheri appeared to strike up a romance with American rapper Yung Gravy — something that sparked Lopez’s ire and caused him to challenge the music artist to a boxing match. The two never met up in the boxing ring, and it looks like Gravy and Sheri have parted ways, with a source claiming that their romance was more than likely a stunt to “get people talking.” Monty Lopez says he’s “single” and “in his healing stage” after Sheri Easterling split Since then, Lopez has admitted to “missing” his ex, and things were quiet for a few days… until October 18. Yesterday, Lopez posted a series TikToks discussing his current relationship status, where he admitted that he is currently single — although it’s unclear if he’s completely over his marriage to Sheri. In one upload, he apparently responded to fans’ queries asking if he had “moved on” from his past relationship. In response, he lip-synced over audio that said, “Please, I am absolutely fine, there is nothing to worry about.” He then posted a caption that read, “She did,” implying that Sheri had already “moved on.” That’s not all; he also uploaded another video on the same day, which he captioned: “I’m single, don’t ask! You know! DM me to have fun if you’re in LA.” In another video, he wrote: “I’m in my healing stage, but it’s so hard,” lip-syncing to audio that said, “Will I get over it? Hmm… no. But life goes on. Not for me.” Whatever the case may be, it looks like Lopez is in his feelings. Sheri, on the other hand, has been posting positive messages on her Twitter account with no apparent mention of Lopez directly. Addison continues to distance herself from her family, with sources claiming the TikToker is “mortified” by the ongoing drama surrounding her parents.

Monty Lopez posts TikTok with mystery girl and takes shot at Sheri Easterling – Dexerto
Monty Lopez posts TikTok with mystery girl and takes shot at Sheri Easterling TikTok: montylopez / Instagram: montylopez, sydneypaightAddison Rae’s TikTok-famous dad, Monty Lopez, recently threw shade at ex-wife Sheri Easterling after uploading a video with Love Island contestant Sydney Paight. Monty Lopez has taken another shot at ex-wife Sheri Easterling over on TikTok — this time, with a reality TV star in tow. The drama between Addison Rae’s parents has been taking over the internet for the last few months after it was discovered that 46-year-old Lopez was purportedly cheating on Easterling with women in their 20s over the summer. Sheri later got romantically involved with rapper Yung Gravy, prompting Lopez to challenge the artist to a boxing match. While this bout doesn’t look likely to happen, he’s still vying for a fight — and he’s still blasting his ex on social media. Monty Lopez shades Sheri Easterling after linking with Sydney Paight On September 29, Lopez uploaded a TikTok alongside Love Island star Sydney Paight, where the TV starlet lip-synced to a sound that says: “I don’t know what’s going on, and I simply don’t wanna know.” Lopez uploaded another TikTok using the same sound with a photo of Sheri and Yung Gravy in the background, tagging both Sheri and Gravy in the post. It’s unclear if Paight and Lopez are seeing each other; Paight is still connected to Love Island boyfriend Isaiah Campbell, and Lopez was formerly connected to influencer Ava Louise, who claimed she was “very happy” in her relationship with the TikTok dad in a statement from a source. However, their TikToks together have been deleted, and it’s unclear if the two are still seeing each other at the time of writing. Sheri and Yung Gravy have yet to comment on Lopez’s latest TikToks, leaving fans eagerly awaiting yet another installment in the saga of Addison Rae’s ongoing family drama — an ordeal the star says she’s “mortified” by.

Monty Lopez responds after Yung Gravy kisses Sheri Easterling at the VMAs – Dexerto
Monty Lopez responds after Yung Gravy kisses Sheri Easterling at the VMAs Instagram: montylopez / sherinicoleAddison Rae’s dad Monty Lopez has responded after Sheri Easterling accompanied rapper Yung Gravy to the VMAs, with the pair also sharing a kiss on the red carpet. Addison Rae is one of TikTok’s biggest stars, but it’s her parents, Monty Lopez and Sheri Easterling, that have been at the center of the drama in the past few months after it was alleged in June that Lopez had cheated on Easterling. During a podcast appearance following the drama, rapper Yung Gravy said that he “has a thing for MILFs” and teased that he and Sheri were “going on a date soon.” On August 28, Sheri and Yung Gravy then attended the VMAs together in color-coordinated outfits, with clips of the pair sharing a kiss gaining a large amount of traction on social media from shocked fans. Shortly after, Monty shared his opinion on the unexpected pairing on his Instagram story. “Unbothered!” he said. “Thank you @yungravy for taking the leftovers! I would rather spend time with my daughter and 2 grandkids that Sheri Nicole made me abandon as a child in order to be with her! Never let a woman make you choose between her and or your blood child.” Monty and Yung Gravy have previously been feuding via TikTok, where Monty even challenged the rapper to a boxing match. Both Monty and Sheri are facing a huge amount of backlash on social media, with fans and non-fans alike expressing their frustration on behalf of Addison. “I feel so bad for Addison Rae, her parents are so embarrassing,” one tweet with over 3000 likes read. “I can’t believe today is the day I say I feel bad for Addison Rae,” said another. Addison hasn’t responded to the VMAs drama at the time of writing, but it looks like Sheri and Monty could be set to continue their public feud despite backlash.

Monty Lopez drama with Yung Gravy & Addison Rae’s mom explained – Dexerto
Monty Lopez drama with Yung Gravy & Addison Rae’s mom explained Instagram: sherinicole, yunggravy, montyjlopezAddison Rae’s father, Monty Lopez, is currently embroiled in a huge internet feud involving Tana Mongeau, rapper Yung Gravy, and his own family. But don’t worry — we’ll explain this confusing drama in its entirety. Addison Rae is one of TikTok’s biggest stars, boasting over 88 million followers on the viral video platform. Lately, however, she’s been the topic of online conversation not for her popular lip-syncing videos, but instead for the antics of her father, Monty Lopez — who’s even gotten into a spat with other major online figures. Here’s everything that’s gone down so far. Monty Lopez faced with cheating allegations In June 2022, fans noticed that both Addison Rae and her mother, Sheri Easterling, had unfollowed Lopez on Instagram. That’s not all; Sheri had even taken the title of “wife” out of her Insta bio, leading netizens to believe that some family drama was afoot. It wasn’t long before this drama revealed itself. Two videos began circling social media shortly thereafter, showing Lopez purportedly flirting with two young women in different circumstances. A few days later, a huge bombshell dropped; a woman named Renne Ash came forward with a slew of photos and screenshots showing that she’d been seeing Lopez under the assumption that he and Sheri were “apart and in the process of getting a divorce.” Lopez posted several apparent responses to the drama, one of which was a short TikTok video where he sarcastically asked, “Am I the drama?” Sheri later published a statement on social media, saying that her “biggest concern is – and always will be – my children and their fragile hearts and minds. I will always do my best to try to protect them. My goal is to make sure that they feel secure and safe and know that everything will be ok.” Amid this information came claims from an inside source, who told People that Lopez and Easterling had been separated for a year. According to the source, the couple had actually divorced before, and reportedly remarried in 2017. Tana takes shots at Monty Lopez on Jeff FM podcast As Renne Ash’s Instagram posts shocked the world, YouTuber and MTV starlet Tana Mongeau came into the fray with her two cents on the subject, saying that the claims against Lopez were “just the tip of the iceberg.” In an episode of the Jeff FM podcast, hosted by YouTuber Jeff Wittek, Tana alluded to the fact that she’d witnessed a “TikTok celebrity father” doing “a good amount” of drugs. She was careful to avoid officially accusing Lopez of drug use, citing fears of legal repercussions if she took a direct shot at Addison’s father. “I never said it was Monty doing coke,” she clarified. “It could have been any TikTok dad doing coke. I never confirmed nor denied that it was Monty.” Yung Gravy asks out Addison Rae’s mom Nearly a month after Mongeau’s appearance on Jeff FM, another personality featured on the podcast — rapper Yung Gravy. During the discussion, the topic of Addison Rae’s family drama came up, prompting some flirty comments from Gravy toward Addison’s mom. Specifically, the rapper stated he “has a thing for MILFs,” and said that he and Sheri Easterling were “going on a date soon” in wake of Lopez’s purported infidelity. Sheri herself appeared to accept his proposal after Yung Gravy published another TikTok offering to take her on a date. “I win???” she replied in the comments section. “I never win anything.” Gravy’s comments didn’t go unnoticed by Lopez, who hit back at Yung Gravy in a TikTok asking him to box. “Watch your [mouth] boy!” he wrote in the clip. “[You’re] gonna get rocked!” Click here if TikTok fails to load. Sheri Easterling says she’s “terrified” of Monty Lopez Lopez then posted another video where he posed shirtless and called out Yung Gravy for a boxing match, again. Sheri seemingly replied to the video, saying in a comment: “I know this video may seem funny to some of you, but I am terrified of this man. Tana Mongeau declares war on Monty Lopez It wasn’t long before Mongeau chimed in on the topic in the comments section of Lopez’s initial TikTok challenging Yung Gravy to a fight, jokingly saying that she was going to “call the police.” Lopez wasn’t in the joking mood, it seems, as he hit back telling her to “take a bath” and even mentioned her “body count.” Tana wasn’t having it, and let loose on the Rae family patriarch in a TikTok video that’s taking the net by storm. In her video, she revealed texts from her friends saying that Lopez was “trying to rail me at the club like fully took his [shirt] off?” Click here if TikTok fails to load. “I think all of my young friends are very tired of him acting like this,” she posed. “So Monty, my dear, if you want war, so be it. I feel kind of strange beefing with this man at his prehistoric age, especially when I’ve seen him put so many things up his nose at several teenage events.” Addison Rae unfollows her mom on social media On August 8, the internet was rocked yet again when Addison seemingly unfollowed her mother on Instagram. Sheri posted her response to the news in a comment, calling the situation “heart wrenching.” Monty Lopez teases possible diss track against Yung Gravy On August 18, Yung Gravy claimed a “poppin’ producer” had messaged him saying that Monty Lopez had reached out to him, asking, “‘Yo, I need a beat. I need to make a diss track.’” Although Gravy claimed he was thoroughly “excited” by this possibility, he also made sure to renounce Lopez for “embarrassing [his] daughter” and “hurting” Sheri. Click here if TikTok fails to load. Yung Gravy & Sheri Easterling smooch at the 2022 VMAs While Yung Gravy and Sheri were openly flirting online, the two officially became an ‘item’ at the 2022 VMAs, where Easterling attended as Gravy’s plus one. The two shared a kiss on the red carpet (and in a few subsequent interviews), making the internet go wild… and prompting more outrage from Monty Lopez. Addison Rae “mortified” by parents bickering on social media Amid the chaos, sources revealed that Addison Rae was totally “mortified” by the drama going down between her parents online. “Addison has seen her parents go through a lot of ups and downs over the years, but everything going on right now has been particularly overwhelming for her,” a source told Page Six. Since then, Rae has remained quiet on her parents’ spat… and it’s still far from over. Monty Lopez drops diss track on Yung Gravy On September 25, Lopez officially dropped the music video for his diss track on Yung Gravy, called ‘Side Dish’ – a term that’s different from the one he’s been using to describe his ex-wife, Sheri, as ‘leftovers.’ Although Gravy has yet to make his own diss track on Monty, the rapper did offer a comment underneath Lopez’s teaser that was uploaded to TikTok a month prior: “It didn’t have to come to this.” While it’s unclear exactly what’s going on in the Rae fold, it’s certain that this is a family affair that’s capturing the internet’s attention as more drama continues to emerge.

Monty Lopez drops teaser for Yung Gravy diss track “Leftovers” – Dexerto
Monty Lopez drops teaser for Yung Gravy diss track “Leftovers” YouTube: djvlad / TikTok: theraefamily, yunggravyAddison Rae’s dad, Monty Lopez, has officially teased a diss track he made about rapper Yung Gravy called “Leftovers” — and the internet isn’t really sure how to feel about it. Oh, boy; Addison Rae’s family feud has just entered another chaotic chapter, and the internet is reeling after getting hit with the latest news. For those out of the loop, TikTok star Addison Rae is currently steering clear of her parents after her dad, Monty Lopez, was allegedly caught cheating on his wife, Sheri Easterling, this summer. It wasn’t long before her mom started to respond to the drama, making things public on social media and hitting back Lopez and internet trolls, prompting Addison to unfollow her on Instagram. During this time, rapper Yung Gravy was showing some serious appreciation for Addison’s mom, and the two even flirted back and forth online before basically going public at the 2022 VMAs (where they shared several smooches in front of paparazzi cameras). In response to Yung Gravy’s advances toward his ex-wife, Lopez apparently threatened to make a diss track against his rival… something Gravy was extremely “excited” about. Well, it looks like he’s actually gone and done it. On August 31, Lopez shared a teaser for the song, which he titled “Leftovers” — a term he’s been using to describe his ex-wife, Sheri. Yung Gravy reacts to Monty Lopez diss track What some viewers can’t get past is the fact that Lopez shared a video of himself dancing to the song, shirtless, on the official Rae Family TikTok account. It’s confusing for most, at best — and at worst, is causing some to physically recoil. Even Yung Gravy has responded to the teaser, simply writing, “It didn’t have to come to this.” While Gravy has been open about his disinterest in a boxing match against Lopez, it’s fair game when it comes to music, leaving fans equal parts horrified and extremely curious to see what comes of this diss track battle.

Monty Lopez compares himself to Michael Jordan in Yung Gravy diss track – Dexerto
Monty Lopez compares himself to Michael Jordan in Yung Gravy diss track Monty Lopez, Instagram / SpotifyAddison Rae’s father Monty Lopez has finally released his ‘Leftovers’ diss track on rapper Yung Gravy, comparing himself to NBA legend Michael Jordan in the lyrics. The beef between Monty Lopez and Yung Gravy has officially reached ‘diss track’ status after the artist was spotted kissing his ex on the red carpet at the VMAs. Since that happened, it was only a matter of time before Monty would drop a song about the 26-year-old, after teasing one on social media. In the new record, Addison’s dad once again called out Gravy for an influencer boxing match which – at the time of writing – has not been accepted or refused. Listen to Monty Lopez’s ‘Leftovers’ diss track Lopez uploaded his diss track, aimed at rapper Yung Gravy, on September 5. The track, which runs for one minute and 31 seconds, starts with: “Hey Lil Gravy, this is for you bro. F**k you and f**k those hoes.” In a later line, he says he is Michael Jordan but Yung Gravy is not Scottie Pippen, referring to two of the Chicago Bulls’ best-ever NBA players. There is a good chance that this isn’t the last we have seen from Monty in the music business, either. In a verified Spotify artist bio for Monty, it says: “Rapper and aspiring DJ living in Los Angeles, California. Monty Lopez recently teased his debut EP by dropping a Murda Beatz-assisted track called “Leftovers” which was immediately recognized as a platinum hit.” Platinum hit is an unlikely status for the record, however, as they are usually granted by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) for reaching over one million copy sales. For context, Monty has just 1,000 followers on his artist page. Anyway, who will be next in his crosshairs for a diss track – Sheri Easterling? Tana Mongeau? We shall have to wait and see.

Monty Lopez confirms divorce from Sheri Easterling is “finalized” – Dexerto
Monty Lopez confirms divorce from Sheri Easterling is “finalized” Instagram: montylopez / sherinicoleAddison Rae’s father Monty Lopez has confirmed that his divorce with Sheri Easterling has been “finalized,” and spoke more about his relationship with Renée Ash. 22-year-old Addison Rae’s parents, Monty Lopez and Sheri Easterling, were the center of attention in mid-2022 after Lopez was accused of cheating on Easterling. The ensuing drama saw rapper Yung Gravy take Easterling to the VMAs, and Lopez write a diss track on the rapper in return, titled ‘Side Dish.’ Now, in an interview with Page Six, Lopez has revealed that his divorce from Easterling has been “finalized.” “Our divorce is finalized. What I can do from here on out, I can move forward,” he said. “In Louisiana, it’s real easy, it’s a lot different. You have to figure, we’ve been separated for over two years now.” “When you go in front of the court system over here and you say, ‘Hey, we’ve been separated for over two years, we’ve been living apart for a year-and-a-half,’ we’ve done our due diligence.” He went on to say: “There’s nothing else that needs to be done. We go in front of a judge, I sign it, she signs, and then we’re on to the next step.” Monty also revealed that he has reconciled with influencer Renée Ash, who revealed her romantic involvement with Lopez shortly after the cheating claims went viral earlier this year. This follows speculation after Renée uploaded an image of them kissing. “So, I’m excited that we’re talking again,” he said. “I’m excited we’re talking about moving in together, I’m excited … to see the next step in this relationship.” Renée added: “We’re taking things slow. I would like to meet Sheri before meeting the kids, just so she’s comfortable.” Both Monty and Sheri remain active on social media, which fans are closely following for updates.

Monty Lopez admits he’s “broken” over Sheri Easterling breakup in emotional TikTok – Dexerto
Monty Lopez admits he’s “broken” over Sheri Easterling breakup in emotional TikTok TikTok: Monty Lopez/Instagram: Sheri EasterlingMonty Lopez has admitted he’s “broken” and “lost” following the break-up with Addison Rae’s mom, Sheri Easterling, posting an emotional TikTok about it all. In late June, rumors surfaced online about the relationship status of Addison Rae’s parents, Monty Lopez and Sheri Easterling, with claims that Lopez had been caught cheating on his partner. Since then, the pair have been engaged in a pretty public spat that has involved Addison unfollowing them on social media, Easterling going on a date with rapper Yung Gravy, and Lopez even dropping a diss track about it all. Over the last few weeks, Monty has taken to TikTok to try and heal things, saying that he “misses” his ex-partner and that “life has been stressful” ever since their split. Monty Lopez says he’s “lost” over Sheri Easterling split Well, now, he’s dropped yet another emotional post, claiming to feel “broken” about the whole drama and further reiterating how much he misses Easterling. The emotional video, which sees Lopez hunched over a table in front of a bouquet of roses, was posted with a simple caption: “I miss you! You know it! #lonely #miserable #waiting #so” with text also flashing up on screen reading: “I will wait for you! I love you.” He doubled down on things in the comments too, replying to one comment saying: “I’m lost” and another with the word “broken.” Click here if TikTok doesn’t load While plenty of viewers had sympathy for Lopez’s post, not everyone did. “This is karma working it’s magic,” said one. “It was your decision,” added another. “How did he go from “she broke I’m up” to “I miss you and i will wait for you!” asked another. Easterling hasn’t exactly been forthcoming in responses to Lopez’s posts, but some fans have taken her vague Tweets to be just that. Though, who knows if the pair will ever rekindle things.

MontanaBlack88 explains why he’s been banned from Twitch – Dexerto
MontanaBlack88 explains why he’s been banned from Twitch Popular Twitch streamer Marcel ‘MontanaBlack88’ Eris has received a seven-day ban from the livestreaming platform and given his side of the story. MontanaBlack88 is one of Twitch’s most popular streamers, even though many may not have heard of him before. The German broadcaster doesn’t have the following of Michael ‘shroud’ Grzesiek or Turner ‘Tfue’ Tenney, but he was, at one point, the most subscribed channel on the platform. That popularity, though, doesn’t keep him immune for falling foul of the Twitch ban hammer – as he was given a 7-day suspension on October 18. The streamer issued a statement about the suspension on Twitter in his native language. According to Bing translate, he stated: “Unfortunately, there is bad news. I Have a 7-day lock on Twitch starting tonight.” He continued: “I was on the discord some time ago with a few guys and I’ve been out of Fifa. At that very moment, a colleague who was streaming, and I said swear words that don’t belong on Twitch. I apologized directly and hoped the subject was eaten with it. As I said, I didn’t know he was streaming or that I was being heard. “You can argue about the 7 days or let it be. Personally, I liked to have as little as possible on Twitch and I’m sorry that I and you now have to punish myself and you with a 7-day ban.” Eris even followed it up with an image of his account being unable to sign-in to Twitch for those who may not have believed him. “If I’m locked for the full 7 days, we’ll see you again in 7 days with Modern Warfare,” he captioned the image, after noting that he could be back in less than that time. Ich denke, stream wird wohl heute nix mehr. Sollte ich die vollen 7 Tage gesperrt sein, sehen wir uns dann genau in 7 Tagen wieder mit Modern Warfare. An erster stelle tut es mir einfach leid für Mehmet pic.twitter.com/JChgTDtRNV— GetOnMyLvL (@MontanaBlack) October 18, 2019 Of course, Twitch doesn’t usually comment on individual bans, leaving the reason with the streamer in an email. While MontanaBlack may have explained the situation, the exact wording of the ban is unknown, and therefore it remains to be seen if there are any further repercussions for the popular streamer.

MonteCristo reveals how Cloud9 is shaking up esports entertainment – Dexerto
MonteCristo reveals how Cloud9 is shaking up esports entertainment Cloud9/YouTubeBack in the mid-2000s, gaming programming was in its infancy and an experimental boom began with G4. Programs such as X-play and Attack of the Show tried to appeal to a niche audience of young adults. AOTS in particular was a talkshow aimed directly at them. Whether it was ahead of its time or not, one thing was clear: this was not your mother’s talk show. And while it, just like the rest of G4, has long been off the air, with its former studios now the home of the LCS, its influence remains. Cloud9’s weekly show “The 9s” merges a traditional sports talkshow with pre-taped and live segments where hosts can interact with chat. This makes it unique and something that typically can’t be done as seamlessly with a traditional televised broadcast. Why do a show about Cloud9? Dexerto spoke to Michael Hughes, the show’s executive producer and owner of DLP Media Group – the same company that produced Watchpoint for the Overwatch League last season about what it takes to produce a show about Cloud9. “The 9s was an appealing project for us to take on because it really is the first (that we know of) show from the perspective of an esports organization,” the Sports Emmy winner said. “There have been shows around individual games and general esports in the past, but we couldn’t find another example of an organization using a show like this to connect directly with their fans.” Cloud9 is one of the most recognizable esports organizations in the world with over 800,000 Twitter followers. It has teams and players competing in League of Legends, Fortnite, Rocket League, Rainbow Six Siege, Counter-Strike, Apex Legends and Overwatch to name a few. “When developing the show, we took to heart the idea that we weren’t looking to produce a show about Cloud9, but one that would be for Cloud9 and its fans. Tapping into the organizational culture, we wanted to have the types of conversations and talk about the topics that were being talked about at the Cloud9 house and by their fans online,” he added. 600A rotating chair Speaking of hosts, The 9s has a lot of Overwatch League ties. Christopher “MonteCristo” Mykles and Mitch “Uber” Leslie are mainstays alongside Dan “Frodan” Chou. There’s also guests like Michelle Morrow. MonteCristo told Dexerto that he likes having a revolving set of casters because “it gives me a chance to work with people that I’m friends with from other games that I’ve never had a chance to actually work with before.” For Monte, the sky is the limit with potential guests. “I’d love it, for example, if we could get some really good insight and interviews from league representatives, whether that’s the new head of League of Legends esports… [he] would be awesome to have on the show. Nate Nanzer now that he’s over at Epic would be awesome to have on the show, so we can really dig into some industry issues. I think that would be fun.” Just don’t expect to have Slasher and Thorin on at the same time. “I don’t think that they’d agree to that, but I would be entertained by that… I hope it happens, but I don’t think they’ll agree to it.” With The 9s being a hybrid of live and pre-taped content, it gives the hosts a way to interact that just can’t be done through traditional means. “We created an innovative format that includes segments from traditional sports talk shows, and combined that with the streaming immediacy of a live broadcast on Twitch,” Hughes told us. “They thought, ‘what could we only do on Twitch given that they have so much experience producing television shows.’ We do the pre-taped segments and then we have those live segments interspersed where we can talk directly to Twitch chat or react or expand upon our points. I think that’s really fascinating. I think it’s just an amazing thing that wasn’t possible before live streaming,” said Mykles. What does the future hold? For Monte and Hughes, it’s all about evolution. “We should integrate more of those actual Twitch features because the polling would be things that we could … questions we could answer or ways we could react live. There’s definitely more we could do with it still,” Monte explained. “As we look to continue to evolve and grow the audience, we hope to continue to entertain fans of esports and Cloud9 around the globe with smart analysis and opinion using an innovative format,” Hughes told Dexerto in an email.

MontanaBlack proves gaming makes double the money of vlogs on YouTube – Dexerto
MontanaBlack proves gaming makes double the money of vlogs on YouTube German YouTuber and livestreamer Marcel ‘MontanaBlack’ Eris has posted a tweet showing how much more profitable it is to post gaming content instead of IRL content. Montana has had a very successful 2019, becoming Twitch’s most-subscribed account in September and overtaking the likes of Michael ‘shroud’ Grzesiek. He’s also picked up over 2 million subscribers on YouTube and is becoming one of Germany’s biggest online stars. Eris makes a wide variety of different content, but can typically be boiled down into two separate categories: gaming videos and vlogs or IRL content. Now, though, he’s shown how much more fruitful gaming can be. In a tweet posted on December 22, Black showed a side-by-side-comparison of screenshots from a recent FIFA video and a vlog that came out around the same time, with the number of views and amount of money made for each. Perhaps surprisingly, it actually showed that gaming content provides a much higher CPM (cost per mille, or cost per thousand) than his vlog does, almost earning more money despite the view count. The vlog earned over 2.5 million views, which amounted to $6,816.44 (€6146.38 in Montana’s national currency, the Euro.) Conversely, the FIFA 20 video only received 970,000 views, around 2.5 times less than the vlog, but earned him $5,719.49 (€5157.26). https://twitter.com/MontanaBlack/status/1209101214706806790 It’s also worth looking at the playback time of each video: while the vlog is at around 23 minutes, the FIFA video is only six minutes, which just goes to show the huge disparity between how much can be earned per minute of a YouTube video. If you boil the numbers down to cost per viewer, the vlog only earns around 0.003 cents per view, while the FIFA video earns about 0.006 cents per view. The gaming video is essentially worth double that of the IRL video, despite how much unique content is provided in the real-life upload to his YouTube channel. CPM has been a huge source of outrage and concern from the YouTube community, who believe that the adpocalypse has halted their progression and prevented them from earning the money that they once would have been able to. Regardless, this shows that maybe some of YouTube’s biggest vloggers should consider switching to gaming for the time being – especially if their CPM is looking low.

Monopoly “hidden rule” goes viral as players realize they’ve been playing wrong for years – Dexerto
Monopoly “hidden rule” goes viral as players realize they’ve been playing wrong for years MonopolyPeople are suddenly realizing they have been playing Monopoly wrong after a viral Reddit post showing the correct rules sent them into a frenzy. Monopoly has been arguably the world’s most famous board game for generations, with the game being first introduced in 1904. The number one game has been widely enjoyed by families, despite being famously known to cause countless arguments. As well as arguments, controversies of the game have revolved around many claiming it takes too long to play, with games commonly going on for hours into the night. This is where the viral Reddit post comes in, whereby Reddit user Gumbledorus posted on the CasualUK subreddit, featuring a photo from the Monopoly rulebook which should dramatically reduce the playing time. The rule posted relates to the buying of property as each player travels around the board and lands on various properties. It states: “If you decide not to buy, the Banker must immediately auction the Property for sale to the highest bidder.” Typically players of the game would simply skip to the next person’s turn if the player who landed on a particular property doesn’t want to buy it, with other players thinking they are not allowed to buy the property. Players react to Monopoly’s “hidden rule” Although it seems a small minority of players were aware of this rule, the majority of people can’t believe they did not know this rule existed after never using it. After comments flooded in of people losing their minds, it has caused the Reddit post to go viral with many users highlighting that their games would now be dramatically faster. Various users have highlighted that this rule would allow properties to be bought up faster by all players, increasing the chance that everyone will have to pay more rent, therefore leading to faster bankruptcies. Board games have continued to be successful despite video games taking over for the past few decades, with the iconic game Call of Duty even releasing its official board game in 2024.

MontanaBlack explains why he’s considered leaving Twitch – Dexerto
MontanaBlack explains why he’s considered leaving Twitch Marcel ‘MontanaBlack’ Eris, who was once the most subscribed to streamer on Twitch, has opened up about his frustrations with the platform by explaining that he’d leave if there was an alternative. MontanaBlack may not be as recognizable a name as Twitch streamers like Shroud, Tfue, or Dr Disrespect to English-speaking viewers, but the German broadcaster once reigned supreme as having the most subscribers on the platform. However, since that point, it hasn’t exactly been smooth sailing for the streamer. He was recently banned for comments he made on another channel after he was unaware that he could be heard. On October 22, he opened about his future – noting that if there was a chance to leave Twitch, he may well take it. “I tell you, honestly, If there was a good alternative to Twitch, I wouldn’t be averse to leaving Twitch,” he said, (via Bing Translate). “I love Twitch and the community I built up there, but Twitch as a platform and how they rule and penalties are sometimes handled in completely different ways… that I feel 0%” The German streamer continued on, noting that he could give “many examples where streamers have done something forbidden” and “nothing has happened” in terms of punishment. Another streamer pointed out that the alleged racist language he had used, despite being unaware he was audible on stream, was unacceptable by Twitch’s rules. Montana responded by stating: “Nevertheless, I did not stream and did not know that was streamed.” Trotzdem habe ich nicht gestreamt und wusste nicht das gestreamt wurde. Hätte Twitch mir dafür 30 tage gegeben wäre es mein Letzter Stream auf Twitch gewesen. — GetOnMyLvL (@MontanaBlack) October 22, 2019 The streamer also pointed out other Twitch bans, referring back to how Alinity wasn’t punished for her animal abuse incident. “Other streamers show their breasts on stream and get a 3-day ban, LUL,” he added. “Then, give my cat a vodka kiss kappa.” Of course, there are alternative platforms to Twitch in the form of Mixer, YouTube, Caffeine, and even DLive – where PewDiePie has an exclusive deal. Despite having some key streamers of their own, however, none of the platforms match Twitch’s audience for livestreaming at the moment, and broadcasters are reluctant to walk away. It remains to be seen what MontanaBlack will do, but he clearly isn’t happy with his situation.

Mom warns parents as 7-year-old suffers second-degree burns from Cup Noodles – Dexerto
Mom warns parents as 7-year-old suffers second-degree burns from Cup Noodles legofam/TikTok, Rainer Zenz/WikimediaA distressed mom has taken to TikTok to plead to other parents to avoid their kids suffering what her son is going through, after he spent several days in the burn ICU unit for second-degree burns from Cup Noodles. Mom of two Nicole Lego on TikTok posted a video urging other parents to be careful around Cup Noodles as something she never deemed a possible danger put her 7-year-old son in the hospital. Nicole explains how her 7-year-old has been in the burn ICU unit for the past five days after a dropped soup cup started melting off his skin “like a literal ice cream cone.” She adds that by the time they arrived at the hospital he “already had second-degree burns at that point.” Nicole informs the 7.5 million viewers she learned from this point, the burn will continue to get worse for up to 72 hours. She then says that her son had to have surgery days later “to get pig skin on him.” She went on to explain that pig skin is used to close the skin nerves and get them to heal. “The literal trauma that they will have for the rest of their lives over a cup of noodles,” she says, adding to the severity of the injury. “But what I do know, is that I will never ever even think lightly about something like hot chocolate or a cup of noodles or anything like that ever again.” Nicole explains that when they first arrived at the emergency room, the surgeons and nurses let her know that this is one of the main things that they see with children. She adds that the only reason she posted her initial video was that she never wants “a child to experience what my son has been through the past three days.” The son prepared the noodles himself Responding to comments, Nicole revealed that her son had prepared the noodles himself in the microwave. She was putting her toddler down for a nap when she suddenly heard screaming coming from the son in the kitchen. She wrote: “I didn’t make them. I had no idea about the noodles until I heard the screaming. It took 2 minutes for this accident to happen. He is 7 and thought he made a mistake. 2 minutes is all it took. I was putting my toddler down for a nap. It was an accident. “It can happen to a grown adult, which if you read the comments you would realize thousands of grown adults have dropped it and had the same accident. It is one of the most common burns in the ICU. That is why I made this video. So no child OR grown adult has to go through what my child went through Spreading awareness even when getting mean comments.” In ab update, Nicole said her son is doing much better and that the doctors have said it’s the best-case scenario following the injuries he got. He most likely will not get any scarring and the possible discoloration will fade as he gets older.

Mom yells at passenger to stop watching GOT on plane because her son can see – Dexerto
Mom yells at passenger to stop watching GOT on plane because her son can see HBO/CanvaA man has taken to Reddit to ask for advice after a mother yelled at him for watching Game of Thrones on a plane as she didn’t want her son to see it, despite sitting multiple rows behind him. One topic that has been discussed a lot on social media recently is flight etiquette. Specifically, what’s okay or not okay to do while on a plane, or while traveling in general. From having bare feet uncomfortably close to other passengers to whether or not it’s okay to recline your seat, people are in a deep conversation to set some ground rules. One man recently took to the AITA subreddit where he asked if he was in the wrong after a mom asked him to turn off his show as she didn’t want her son to see. He explains that he was on a long flight in an aisle seat. He explained that he hadn’t seen any of Game of Thrones yet, so he set up his tablet at his seat and started watching. If you’ll recall, in the very first episode of the show, Bran sees Jaime and Cersei getting intimate, so they push him out the window of the tower. When he was about “an hour or two into watching”, a woman two rows behind him tapped him on the shoulder and told him that he needed to turn it off immediately. Confused, he asked why. She replied that her young son “could see the show playing” on his tablet and that it’s not suitable for kids because of the graphic nature of the series. He agreed that it’s not for kids, but he did not agree to turn it off. “She then basically told me that I am an a**hole for not considering other people around me,” he wrote. And he wanted to know if she was right, so he took to Reddit. In a few edits, he clarifies that he was wearing headphones the whole time and he was flying from Europe to the U.S. He’s not exactly sure what seat the kid was in as it seemed like he and his mom switched seats frequently. Readers unsure about who’s in the wrong After reading the man’s Reddit post, most people agreed that OP had done the right thing and that the mother has no right to decide what other people watch. “She could have swapped seats with the kid or distracted him. If all else failed she could have politely asked you if you would mind angling your tablet so he couldn’t see it. Instead, she jumped straight to telling you that you *had* to turn it off. That is entitlement right there. The world does not revolve around her child,” one person wrote. However, some also argued that, while the mom could have gone about being nicer, OP should not have been watching Game of Thrones while out in public. “Don’t watch p*** in public places,” someone else wrote, “no matter how critically acclaimed said p*** is.” This is not the first argument that has happened on a plane recently. A woman recently went viral after screaming at someone who sat next to her, saying he “wasn’t real”.

Mom under fire for dressing her toddler in “inappropriate” outfits for school – Dexerto
Mom under fire for dressing her toddler in “inappropriate” outfits for school TikTok: delylah_faith_luxuryA mother is coming under fire on TikTok for dressing her toddler daughter in lavish outfits for school, which many viewers are labeling as “inappropriate.” TikTok is home to a wide variety of jaw-dropping content — but one mother’s videos about her toddler daughter are sparking some concern from viewers. TikTok user ‘Dee Dee’ is going viral on the video-sharing platform for showing off her daughter’s outfits that she wears for school. While it’s not uncommon to see kiddos dressed to the nines for picture day, Dee Dee makes sure that her mini-me is perfectly coordinated seemingly every time class is in session. However, many viewers are taking issue with these outfits, which they claim are a bit too mature for such a small child. “She’s just absolutely inappropriate,” one viewer wrote in a comment. “I don’t care who gets mad. Little girls should be dressed like little girls. She’s literally [dressed] just like me and I’m 23.” “Let babies dress like babies,” another urged. “She just wants to wear Minnie Mouse,” another said. Still others called the TikToker’s daughter a “living doll,” noting that her mom dresses her in perfectly curated fits that one might see on a Barbie doll. It doesn’t look like these remarks are phasing Dee Dee, though. The mother has made a few video responses to critics calling her out on TikTok, with one reading: “Me, watching the video I just posted while I’m scrolling through the comments saying how I’m a bad mother, I’m selling my daughter so young” alongside a video of actor Pedro Pascal eating a sandwich. This isn’t the first time a parent has caught some flak on TikTok; in fact, two parents lost custody of their child after wrapping their kid in saran wrap in a viral video earlier this month.

Mom warns parents after dangerous viral challenge gives son third-degree burns – Dexerto
Mom warns parents after dangerous viral challenge gives son third-degree burns Kennedy News & MediaA distraught mother is warning parents after her teenage son was left with third and second-degree burns after trying a dangerous social media challenge. Alabama mom Tiffany Crutcher says she’d placed a series of candles around her home in preparation for a storm that threatened to take out her electricity when the worst happened. According to Crutcher, her 13-year-old son, Dzhyan, took the opportunity to try out a dangerous social media challenge that involved throwing alcohol over an open flame. “He went into the bathroom and he took a candle and poured alcohol onto it,” she reportedly said in a statement to Kennedy News & Media, as per the NYP. “It exploded onto him, catching him on fire. I was there immediately. I heard the explosion.” Teenager receives third-degree burns trying social media challenge Crutcher says her son received third and second-degree burns on his face, neck, chest, and stomach. “I tried to put him out with my hands at first,” she added. “We were taught to stop, drop and roll, so I tried that, and it didn’t work… He was completely on fire from the waist up. It was terrifying.” Luckily, the flames were finally put out when Crutcher’s youngest son handed his mom a fire extinguisher… but by then, the damage was already done. Crutcher’s son isn’t the only child who’s been badly burned after attempting a social media ‘challenge.’ As reported by ABC 7 Chicago, mother Holli Dark’s son, Mason Dark, was severely burned after setting fire to a can of spray paint. This is far from the first time an online challenge has resulted in serious injuries. In fact, some of these viral challenges have even caused the death of several children, as in the case of the ‘Blackout Challenge’ that sparked outrage last year after several kids passed away after trying to hold their breath until they passed out. As a result, several parents banded together to sue TikTok, arguing that the platform’s “product and its algorithm directed exceedingly and unacceptably dangerous challenges and videos.” For more social media news and coverage check out our page here.

Mom trashes gender reveal party after finding out she’s having another girl TIKTOK: aintyoukybAn expecting mother has left TikTok viewers divided, after trashing her gender reveal party because she’s having another girl. In viral clip with over 698,000 views, a mother was filmed getting frustrated over the fact that she is having another daughter. The woman could be seen pulling down decorations at the gender reveal party and throwing a fit over her baby’s gender, while guests were left stunned at her reaction. “She really mad,” one attendee said. “I didn’t think she was for real.” Tables were flipped over at the outdoor party, and the expecting mother was seen tearing a sash off of her body, throwing it to the ground before walking away. “POV: When you destroy your gender reveal because you didn’t want another girl,” a text overlaying the video explained. “Yall I’m still in shock,” the caption read. Many TikTok users in the comments were horrified by the mother’s behavior at her own gender reveal. “I get people get disappointed but seriously?” one person wrote. “Honestly it is never that serious! I promise!” another said. “Imagine being the daughter and seeing this years later,” a third commented. “I can already tell what kind of mom she’s going to be,” another one added. Others, however, empathized with the mom and said they could relate to her gender disappointment. “I feel that pain. I had 6 girls, never got a boy,” one shared. “No because I feel her, I wanted a boy but it ended up being a girl and I was lowkey sad,” another wrote. “I had gender disappointment with my first but I just sobbed. I love him and I’m pregnant with a girl now. Poor lady,” someone else commented. For more entertainment news and viral stories surrounding TikTok, be sure to check out our coverage on Dexerto.

Mom under fire for cutting daughter’s hair as punishment in viral video – Dexerto
Mom under fire for cutting daughter’s hair as punishment in viral video TikTok: 3ella_3osselinaA mother is facing intense backlash after cutting off her daughter’s hair as a punishment in a TikTok video that’s going viral. TikTok is home to a slew of viral videos — some of which generate extreme backlash due to their content, or the people who posted them. Quite a few TikTokers have undergone public scrutiny in the past, including a group of nurses who were recently fired after uploading their childbirth “icks” to the platform. Now, another TikToker is facing immense backlash for posting a video to the website that is leaving viewers shocked and outraged. The person in question is a mother who shared her daughter’s punishment with the internet. In the video, she cuts off her daughter’s braids close to the scalp, leaving her with a very short crop of hair. What’s bothering viewers is that the mother did this as a punishment for her daughter’s supposed bad behavior, saying her child wanted to be “pretty over being educated.” “I’m not a parent who likes to use physical discipline,” the mother says as she takes a pair of scissors to her daughter’s hair. “Come here. You’re gonna learn today, girl.” “You had your learning, you had your chance. I told you to listen, I told you to stop disobeying my rules. I told you, being cute ain’t sh*t if you have no education! I told you to stop disobeying me, I told you to listen and do as you’re supposed to.” That’s not all; in a follow-up video, the mother questioned her daughter in front of the camera, asking her if she felt she’d been abused — to which she answered, “No.” The mother’s video has garnered intense backlash online, with commenters across the internet stunned at her harsh punishment as well as the fact that she posted it to TikTok. “I don’t know about you, but my hair is like the root of my confidence now,” one user wrote. “Imagine how she feels having to get it all cut off by her own mother.” “She was wrong for that,” another said. “All you had to do is just take the phone.” “Omg how incredibly traumatizing for that girl,” another chimed in. “Seriously? No.. just no. That’s assault, as far as I’m concerned… not okay, not a lesson or punishment!” TikTok mom responds to backlash after cutting daughter’s hair in viral video The mother has since responded to the criticism levied at her for her punishment, saying she “couldn’t care less about the comments, likes, and views” and denied being “jealous” of her daughter, as some viewers theorized. “I did it because I stood on my word as a parent,” she said in her video. “For a whole year, I was telling her I was gonna do this if she didn’t stop doing the stuff she was doing. She didn’t believe me. I didn’t believe myself. But by God’s grace, yes ma’am I stood on my word for once.” That’s not all; she also uploaded another video showing that she’d purchased a wig for her daughter, with the two seeming to laugh at the outrage the video had caused. This is far from the first time a parent has incited backlash on TikTok. Celebrity mom Yolanda Hadid notably came under fire in October for her comments about her daughter’s diet, telling her to “have a couple of almonds” when she said she was feeling “weak” from hunger.

Mom splits the internet after crying over cockroach in McDonald’s Happy Meal – Dexerto
Mom splits the internet after crying over cockroach in McDonald’s Happy Meal TikTok: hopelife525/UnsplashA mom has gone viral after she made a TikTok claiming to have found a cockroach under her daughter’s McDonald’s Happy Meal and then confronted staff over it. Though, the whole thing has got viewers split. Whenever you go out food – be it at a nice restaurant or something more akin to fast food – you expect it to be solid. You don’t want a mistake ruining your day, especially if you’ve waited a while to satisfy your hunger. Well, in the case of TikToker Hopelife525, she’s gone viral over the past few days due to an incident with a Happy Meal at McDonald’s that left her and her daughter pretty unhappy after they found a cockroach in there. After making the discovery, the TikToker marched back into the store and urged other customers to “not eat here” and showed them the bug. Mom “scared” after finding roach in daughter’s Happy Meal From there, she demanded to speak to staff and show them the creepy-crawly, furious that her daughter had to see it. “I’m shaking. I’m so scared,” she told some of the staff, tearing up. The TikToker ultimately asked for and received a refund. Plenty of users were, naturally, on her side about the whole thing, saying they’d do similar in her situation. “That’s crazy I’m so sorry y’all had to go through that,” said one. “These comments r so euh like if I saw a roach in my food I’d be mad too,” replied another. “Roaches can have soo many diseases, I’d be pissed. Y’all are trippin,” another commented. However, there were a number who disagreed with her actions. “Girl calm the f*ck down no one is gonna die,” said one. “I feel like she way overreacted. I would be pissed but she’s so scared of WHAT?,” argued another. “Girl stop with the theatrics. Every restaurant has roaches.” The TikToker did make an update to wrap up things, stating she was hoping to shine a light on the sanitary issue but was surprised by some of the backlash. “I was just so scared my daughter could have ate a bug, a spider, whatever. Regardless, it’s a restaurant and they are under inspection to be sanitary,” she added.

Mom stunned as she spots two black eyes staring at her through Christmas tree – Dexerto
Mom stunned as she spots two black eyes staring at her through Christmas tree TIKTOK: gina_premmamaA woman went viral on TikTok after discovering two ‘creepy’ black eyes staring at her from inside her Christmas tree. Content creator Gina (gina_premmama) got the fright of her life after spotting a mysterious creature hiding in the branches of her festive fir. In a 13-second clip with almost 3 million views, the woman filmed her shocking discovery, as she cautiously used a broomstick to pull back the branches of her tree. As she moved the branches aside, a pair of tiny beady eyes were seen peering back at her amidst the Christmas lights and snow-frosted branches. The unidentified little creature sat still, and appeared almost as terrified as Gina, as Michael Bublé’s ‘It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas’ played in the background. “Thought I was seeing thing,” Gina wrote in a text-overlay of the viral video, while the caption simply read “Help!!!!!!” TikTok users rushed to the comments to share what they would’ve done if they were in Gina’s shoes. “The way I would’ve simply set the whole tree on fire,” one user wrote. “Open the door and throw the whole tree away!” another added. “I would have destroyed the whole tree in a panic,” a third shared, while another said they would’ve “died on the spot.” Others, however, did not find the little creature scary, but rather cute. “Adorable, rescue them, name them and keep them,” one commented. “So cute, he wants to be a decoration!” another wrote. “Awwww he deserves a Christmas too,” a third added. In a follow-up video, Gina revealed that the animal was actually a mouse. She filmed her two cats chasing the critter, before she safely placed it outside. “No mouse was harmed in the making of this video,” she said. “He’s safely outside now along with my Christmas tree.”
