  • Kizuna AI goes on “indefinite hiatus” after her The Last Live concert – Dexerto

Kizuna AI goes on “indefinite hiatus” after her The Last Live concert YouTube: Kizuna AIKizuna AI, heralded as the world’s first VTuber, is going on an “indefinite hiatus” after celebrating her fifth anniversary. The star described her break as a “sleep,” with one last concert on February 26 acting as her signoff for the coming months. Kizuna AI has been performing practically non-stop since her 2016 debut. Widely regarded as the first VTuber, she has slowly amassed a following off the back of that title and her innovative concert experiences. However, she is now taking a break to relax and get working on new projects. After celebrating her fifth anniversary, Kizuna AI announced she would be taking an “indefinite hiatus” from her activities, meaning no more videos, streams, or concerts. The hiatus will start after her “Hello, World 2022” concert on February 26, which has also been dubbed “The Last Live.” The star explained that things have changed since she started — especially given the rapid rise of VTubers since 2020. She now wants to catch up, bringing innovative content to her fans. “Compared to five years ago when I first started my activities, the world has gradually become more comfortable with virtual existence and people having their own avatars. That makes me really happy,” she said back in December 2021. “It also gave me a chance to rethink my identity. I’m not that rare anymore.” Kizuna AI didn’t tease exactly what she had planned for after her break. The concepts of Web 3.0, the metaverse, and NFTs — despite widespread criticism of the practices — have interested her though. “I think you’ve been hearing words such as metaverse and NFT recently. It sounds complicated but new and fun at the same time. I want to bring things like that closer to people and experience new fun things together.” She will not be stopping all activities either, with announcements to be made during the hiatus. The Last Live concert isn’t meant to be a forever goodbye, but instead the turning of a page in Kizuna AI’s book and a look towards a new chapter. “I’m really sad that I wouldn’t be able to see everyone during that time. To be honest, I wasn’t sure what I should do, but that’s not really like me. I need to move forward towards my goal,” she said. “I want to make this a concert that would give people hope for my future activities [when I return]. “I say indefinite, but I will complete the update and come back as an updated AI. I want you to wait for me. Honestly, I made this decision by myself but I really am going to miss you. I’m really trying to work towards the goal I’ve had since the beginning of my activities and my new challenge for the future.” Kizuna AI’s final concert for the time being, Hello World 2022, kicks off on February 26 at 10am GMT.

  • Kitchen Nightmares: Gordon Ramsay’s time at The Juicy Box saved their Yelp reviews – Dexerto

Kitchen Nightmares: Gordon Ramsay’s time at The Juicy Box saved their Yelp reviews FOXYelp is a popular site for customers to write reviews and share opinions about businesses. The Juicy Box has seen an influx of loving comments ever since filming Kitchen Nightmares. When Gordon Ramsay arrives on the scene to make changes inside restaurants, it’s up to each restaurant owner to take or leave his advice. When they do take it, they usually benefit greatly. When they don’t take it, their establishments don’t always stand the test of time. There’s a reason so many restaurants that have been featured on Kitchen Nightmares are no longer functioning today. The Juicy Box is a restaurant that was recently featured, and it seems to be doing better than ever after being graced with Gordon’s presence. In fact, some of the Yelp reviews have been incredibly positive since the episode was filmed. The Juicy Box’s Yelp reviews are full of love According to Kitchen Nightmares Updates, Gordon and the rest of his film crew visited The Juicy Box in June 2023. Although they filmed the episode back then, it didn’t air on Fox until October 23, 2023. Between then and now, the reviews on Yelp have seen some significant positivity. One person left a five-star rating with a message that said, “Great vibes, live music, and top-tier menu. The owner is very personable and inviting.” Another person added, “From the time you enter The Juicy Box, they make you feel so welcomed. They have amazing food, music, and drinks. Try everything on the menu, you won’t be disappointed.” A third person chimed in to say, “TJB is a cute corner spot that feels good as soon as you walk in. The waitress greets you and makes sure to follow up with you. My table was very pleased with the drinks and our service. looking forward to returning!” There are, of course, still a couple of negative reviews from unhappy customers. That’s to be expected at any place of business, though. The changes Gordon made, seem to have only benefited this restaurant. The Juicy Box isn’t the only restaurant to take Gordon’s advice in order to continue thriving.

Kitchen Nightmares: Is The Juicy Box also a nightclub? INSTAGRAMThe Juicy Box was recently featured on Kitchen Nightmares with Gordon Ramsay. Does this restaurant double as a Brooklyn nightclub? Different restaurants are always featured on Kitchen Nightmares because they’re in dire need of help from Gordon Ramsay. He comes along to make necessary tweaks and changes so these restaurants have a chance at a successful future. Sometimes, his complaints are about the menu items being served at a specific eatery. Other times, he can’t stand the way the staff is being treated. Most recently, Gordon made time to visit The Juicy Box in Brooklyn, New York. The restaurant is still up and running today, which means visitors can stop in whenever they’re open. Interestingly enough, this restaurant also runs an events Instagram page highlighting all the cool things taking place on the property. In some of the posts, it looks like The Juicy Box is in a nightclub. Here’s what visitors should know before planning a trip. The Juicy Box is a restaurant, bar, and lounge with nightclub vibes Although you might assume that The Juicy Box is a full-fledged night club after taking a scroll through their events Instagram page, it’s actually a restaurant, bar, and lounge. Some of the events to experience there include Lajan Mondays, Taco Tuesdays, THC-infused Wednesday paint parties, “Touch it” Thursdays, and Freaky Fridays. It’s safe to assume that a lot of these events revolve around energizing music, flowing liquor, and dance moves among friends. One of their event flyers that was shared on September 28, 2023 mentions live DJ-ing from Rell Bandz and DJ Vibes, games, and hookah. It also talks about $5 margaritas until midnight, bottles going for $100, and kitchen orders available starting at 8 p.m. The Juicy Box might not be an official nightclub, but it certainly gives off nightclub energy.

  • Kitboga uses voice changer to drive gift card scammer insane – Dexerto

Kitboga uses voice changer to drive gift card scammer insane Kitboga – Twitch / The Green OptimisticPopular YouTuber and Twitch personality ‘Kitboga‘ has once again led a scammer to a complete mental breakdown, using a voice changer to act like an elderly woman. The Twitch streamer is no stranger to scammers, often baiting them on his streams to the amusement of his viewers. Putting on voice changers, different costumes, and different personalities every time, each scammer gets outed in comedic new ways every time. On a September 5 stream though, Kitboga got one of the biggest breakdowns ever streamed, as one scammer took the bait and descended into madness. Impersonating Matilda, an elderly woman falling for a gift card scam, the Twitch streamer led the scammer on for four hours. Read more: Twitch streamer shatters desk – As Kitboga kept on refusing to follow the scammers commands, they got increasingly angry. “Just hold on, do not touch the computer, hold on,” they yelled. He redeemed the fake codes into ‘his own’ Google Play account, which had the scammer fuming. However, the streamer kept up his ignorant innocence. “Okay, honey why aren’t you thanking me right now? I don’t understand,” he said. This final statement was the straw that broke the camel’s back, as the scammer lost his mind in front of thousands of viewers. What do you want to show yourself, that you are very smart? You motherf**ker, you don’t know what you’ve done,” the scammer screamed. Kitboga talked back in perfect fashion, slamming the out-of-line scammer for his naughty behavior. “Why are you yelling at me? Excuse me young man, if I was your mother I would send you straight to your room.” The scammer kept screaming in the background as the call was wrapping up, with the streamer managing to keep the line open for just under four hours and 30 minutes. This is not the first time Kitboga has led scammers on while streaming. Last week, the Twitch star had a scammer threaten suicide after two hours on call, which left him quite emotional. However, breakdowns like these are why his antics on Twitch are so popular. There’s always some sense of enjoyment from seeing these scammers get shut down, and it’s even better when it’s shared with the world.

  • Kitboga’s antics makes gift card scammer absolutely erupt in rage – Dexerto

Kitboga’s antics makes gift card scammer absolutely erupt in rage Kitboga Twitch / Andrea Piacquadio PexelsTwitch’s most celebrated anti-scammer ‘Kitboga’ is perfecting his craft everyday, which made itself evident by causing the other person on the line to completely lose their mind over the streamer’s ruse. For those unfamiliar, Kitboga uses his streams as a public service announcement of sorts against scam call centers. By calling sketchy ‘IT service centers,’ he engages in epic confrontations with representatives that can sometimes turn out hilarious, frustrating, and, sometimes, deeply emotional. The streamer has said many times that he keeps up these skits against scammers to essentially waste their time and prevent them from preying on other vulnerable people. His reasons are numerous, but the end result is usually the same – with people screaming their heads off at him. This time, however, the scammer wasn’t prepared for Kitboga’s ‘Granny Edna’ persona, who is essentially the worst version of the people these scammers tend to target. After spending over nine hours with ‘Steve’ over two days and multiple hangups, they had finally gotten to a point where the scammer thought his payday was forthcoming. That is, until Boga started to ‘cash in’ the fake gift cards after Steve started using increasingly aggressive words against old lady Edna. “I haven’t had a scammer this angry in a while,” Kitboga said, after three of five redeemed cards had irreversibly set off the person on the other line. Unfortunately, the scammer kept seeing funds from his promised $500 gift cards going to waste as Edna kept redeeming what apparently belonged to him. During the heated words, the streamer had actually turned off the scammer’s access to Kit’s computer mouse. This gave the scammer absolutely no control over the situation, only escalating the encounter. Approaching the tenth hour of the transaction, ‘Steve’ couldn’t take Edna’s incessant need to interrupt and insistence that the money was already given away to the scammer. As someone who has multiple safeguards against these people, Kitboga was loving the scammer’s attempts to steal everything in the ‘bank account’ as Steve was trying to get a semblance of control in the conversation. To Boga’s recollection, this is the most animated reaction from a scammer he’s ever been rewarded with before finally giving up on the fake IT support, and it’s an instant classic in the streamer’s deep collection of mischief.

  • KingRichard accuses artist of lying and refuses to pay after scam allegations – Dexerto

KingRichard accuses artist of lying and refuses to pay after scam allegations Popular Twitch Streamer Richard ‘KingRichard’ Nelson has accused motion designer, ‘G4K’, of lying, after claims that he didn’t not pay money owed for Twitch stream graphics. KingRichard accused of unpaid graphic work This all started when Gabe, or G4K, posted a video online claiming that KingRichard had not paid him, and therefore had allegedly scammed the designer after accepting his artwork. KingRichard’s initial response had received a lot of backlash as many were arguing that the designer should have been paid for his time invested into the project. KingRichard had also apparently accepted some of the artwork by the design company Creative Grenade and used it on his stream before denying to pay for it, according to G4K. KingRichard accuses graphic designer of defamation KingRichard and the Creative Grenade team, which includes G4K, then decided that the situation would be resolved privately as they attempted to work out a compromise which would suit both parties. G4K also removed the initial video and screenshots from his Twitter. In what he has confirmed as his final statement on the topic, KingRichard has now claimed that G4K and the Creative Grenade team have been underdelivering and lying about his project before they took the matter public on April 2. He stated that the company “would not be getting a single dime [more]” from him and he declared that he was considering suing for defamation against his character when the artist shared the video claiming he had been unfairly treated. “I believed they were reputable to do the work, I was wrong.” Turning Negative Vibes Into Positive Viibes [+] $10k Giveaway Details Soon#kingdomvibeshttps://t.co/lgTgpAYCt9 pic.twitter.com/bZWQHFKpNC — :crown:KingRichard:crown: (@KingRichard) April 6, 2019 KingRichard went on to say that his community was the reason he was trying to improve the stream “This was always about the community” and that he wanted to give back to everyone that had supported him through all of the drama which unfolded. He then went on to say that he had decided to give away the expected cost of the project, which was $10,000 in total, by announcing that he would be hosting a giveaway picking five fans that would receive $1,000 each as well as donating the same amount to five charities of his choice.

  • KingRichard deletes Tweet after issuing fight challenge to GFX artist he refused to pay – Dexerto

KingRichard deletes Tweet after issuing fight challenge to GFX artist he refused to pay Instagram:Kingrichard215/ExtremeStrikersPopular Twitch streamer Richard ‘KingRichard’ Nelson is seemingly still locked into his feud with graphic designer Gabe ‘G4K Motion Designer’ – adding anyone else who comments on the beef into the mix. What happened between KingRichard and G4K? The NRG Esports player and streamer had his controversy over reportedly not paying his graphic designer thrust into the public spotlight at the beginning of April, when the team released a video, that has since been deleted. KingRichard responded to, and strongly denied, the matter on his stream, becoming emotional when referred to as a “scammer.” Nelson also admitted to being burnt out and not wanting to stream because of it all. However, it seems that despite apparent private talks with G4K about resolving the situation, KingRichard is still tetchy about the situation being brought up. 600What did KingRichard tweet? On April 11, the popular streamer put a call out to his Twitter followers to see who would be attending TwitchCon Europe in Berlin – seemingly gauging responses as to who he may run into while in Germany. One user responded that they would be attending and also bringing KingRichard’s graphic designer with them, seemingly poking fun at the tense situation. In a now-deleted tweet, the popular streamer fired back with: “Bring a pair of boxing gloves as well,” seemingly wanting to step into the ring with G4K. 600While the graphic designer stated that he and KingRichard were going to solve their problems privately and that the ‘peaceful way’ was the best case scenario, it seems like the streamer is still pretty combative about the whole thing. KingRichard’s original tweet about TwitchCon Europe still remains on his profile, with replies flooding in following his deleted post – all poking fun at what he had written. If posts on Twitter are anything to go off, it seems like a lot of attendees will be bringing KingRichard’s graphic designer with them, so he may need more than one pair of gloves just in case they’ve all discovered the secret behind cloning technology.

  • Kingpyn fighter claims she was given permission for X-rated celebration – Dexerto

Kingpyn fighter claims she was given permission for X-rated celebration Kingpyn / DAZNViral Kingpyn boxer Daniella Hemsley has claimed she was given permission for her explicit victory celebration after winning via unanimous decision. Influencer boxing continues to grow at a rapid pace, with events featuring some of the world’s biggest YouTubers, TikTokers, musicians, and even professional athletes becoming more and more common. While KSI’s Misfits Boxing promotion continues to make waves in the space, earlier this year a competitor emerged, with Kingpyn Boxing kicking off ‘High Stakes’ — the first YouTube Boxing Tournament featuring eight male and eight female fighters spanning three events. During the semi-final event hosted in Dublin on July 15, TikToker and OnlyFans model Daniella Hemsley stunned the crowd — going viral for her explicit victory celebration after winning her bout. Daniella Hemsley claims she was given permission for explicit celebration After taking the win over Ms. Danielka via unanimous decision, the OnlyFans model got a bit too excited with her celebrations, where she unexpectedly pulled up her bra, flashing her boobs to the entire audience. In a post-fight interview, Hemsley was asked about the X-rated celebration — whether or not it was pre-planned — and she claimed she actually had permission. “I got approval from the promoter, and I was only going to do it if I won, and I did and I got over-excited, and yeah, why not?” (Timestamp at 2:25) While Daniella claimed she had permission for the X-rated stunt, Kingpyn promoter Chris Boyne condemned the act in an interview. “Yeah look, you know what the girls know how to go viral, and look it is what it is. It’s not really what I wanted if I’m honest like because you know nudity, profanity, it doesn’t really work. But, look they’re social media stars, and look it is what it is and they want to go viral,” he told iFL TV. Influencer boxing has grown into something we could have never anticipated, although it’s certainly proven to be a bit unorthodox — with fighters going viral for kissing their opponent’s during a faceoff before fight night.

  • Kingpyn tournament canceled as company reportedly files for bankruptcy – Dexerto

Kingpyn tournament canceled as company reportedly files for bankruptcy KingpynInfluencer-boxing promotion Kingpyn has reportedly filed for bankruptcy following the second event in their ‘high stakes’ tournament, which was scheduled to wrap up in August. The influencer-boxing bug has taken over the internet, with creators from all platforms looking to get a piece of the pie. The trend was officially kicked off by Logan Paul and KSI’s highly-anticipated boxing match in 2018, and it’s been off to the races ever since. In the years following this magical bout, KSI’s very own Misfits Boxing has managed to secure a five-year deal with DAZN… but it doesn’t look like another competitor in the space is doing so well. Kingpyn cancels boxing tournament & files for bankruptcy Kingpyn cropped up earlier this year to rival Misfits x DAZN with a ‘high stakes’ influencer-boxing tournament that would take place over the course of several separate events throughout the year to see which creators would come out on top. The quarter-final took place on April 22 at the OVO Arena in London, and the semi-final just went in the books on July 1 in Dublin. However, it doesn’t look like viewers will get to see how this tournament actually pans out in the final, as Kingpyn has reportedly filed for bankruptcy right in the middle of their combat sports showdown. This news comes from Happy Punch Boxing, which also claims that sources close to the company have completely canceled the entire Kingpyn tournament. KSI has given his reaction to the news, laughing at the company’s fallout mere days after joking that they’d gone bankrupt on Twitter. Shortly after the initial news broke, Happy Punch then reported that none other than DAZN could be stepping in to salvage the brand. Sources informed them DAZN may be securing investment to acquire Kingpyn in the very near future, though whether this comes to fruition, obviously remains to be seen. For now, the future of Kingpyn is unclear — but until then, influencer-boxing fans can keep their eyes peeled for Misfits x DAZN Series 008, which takes place on July 22 with a whole host of tag-team matches.

  • Kingpyn allegedly lost $4 million from first boxing event – Dexerto

Kingpyn allegedly lost $4 million from first boxing event KingpynAfter the company has come under fire for failing to pay its fighters and event staff, Wade Plem has alleged that Kingpyn lost millions of dollars on their first event. While KSI’s Misfits Boxing has spearheaded the space forward, earlier this year new promotion Kingpyn looked to break into the scene with their ‘High Stakes’ influencer-boxing tournament. Although it hasn’t been a smooth ride. In the build-up to Kingpyn’s second event, hosting the tournament’s semi-final fights, there were rumblings that the company had filed for bankruptcy, until streaming service DAZN stepped in to save the day. Since the semi-finals, fighters and event staff have accused the company of failing to pay what they’re owed. And now, YouTuber and commentator Wade Plem has alleged that the company lost millions on their first event. Wade Plem claims Kingpyn lost millions on first event Following reports that Kingpyn has failed to pay a number of their fighters or event staff, going completely unresponsive, in a video on August 25, Wade “exposed” the truth as to what’s going on. In his own experience, Wade alleged that Kingpyn failed to pay him and FaZe Sensei what they were owed for their commentating work on the first event, before explaining the company lost a “substantial” amount. “They lost a substantial amount of money,” he said. “To the tune of what I’ve heard, three to four million dollars on the first event.” Wade even took some of the blame himself for Kingpyn’s losses. While acknowledging that he tried his best to promote the events, he explained he maybe didn’t do as well as he should’ve. He added: “A massive massive casualty because they’ve overpaid and undersold with the fighters. Myself, I can take some responsibility there. I tried my best to promote the first card and the second. Maybe I didn’t do as good a job as I should have. That’s on me.” (Timestamp at 4:46) The final of the ‘High Stakes’ tournament was set for August 5, where fans expected to see King Kenny and AnEsonGib go blow for blow to be crowned Kingpyn’s champion. Similarly, Jully Poca and 6ar6ie6 were expected to touch gloves for the female title. However, there has since been no word regarding the rescheduling of the event.

  • Kingpyn faces backlash for allegedly not paying fighters & staff – Dexerto

Kingpyn faces backlash for allegedly not paying fighters & staff Twitter: Kingpyn BoxingInfluencer-boxing promotion Kingpyn is coming under fire after sources claimed the company has allegedly failed to pay its fighters and event staff. The world of influencer-boxing is only getting bigger with time. The trend first kicked off in 2018, thanks to the famous matches between Joe Weller and KSI, and KSI vs Logan Paul. Now, the fad is more prominent than ever before, with KSI’s Misfits Boxing partnering with DAZN for a five-year contract that’s already seen a wealth of high-profile bouts. Another promotion entered the fray more recently: Kingpyn, who notably held their ‘High Stakes’ influencer-boxing tournament over the course of several months this year. Unfortunately, this tournament ran into trouble just before the semi-finals could get underway. In fact, the company had filed for bankruptcy, and it seemed as though the fighters who had trained so hard to compete in this leg of the tournament had made all that effort for naught. Luckily, DAZN saved Kingpyn by acquiring the fight on their platform — but the promotion isn’t out of the woods just yet. Kingpyn accused of not paying fighters and staff According to Happy Punch, multiple sources have claimed that Kingpyn has not paid a number of their fighters or event staff. That’s not all; Happy Punch also says that the company is unresponsive when approached with queries about this missing pay. Combat sports YouTuber and commentator Wade Plem (aka The W.A.D.E. Concept) also spoke out on the subject, claiming he’s tried to handle the matter professionally to no avail. As a result, he’ll be publishing an expose of the company on his YouTube channel on Friday, August 25. This situation isn’t a new one in the influencer-boxing scene. In fact, it hearkens back to a strikingly similar instance that took place in 2021 after YouTuber Austin McBroom’s boxing promotion, Social Gloves, was accused of withholding payment from fighters. A year later, McBroom resolved two lawsuits resulting from the drama in a $3 million settlement. It seems that history is repeating itself if these latest claims about Kingpyn are to be believed, leaving fans waiting on Plem’s YouTube video.

  • King Kenny responds to backlash after “rigged” win over FaZe Sensei – Dexerto

King Kenny responds to backlash after “rigged” win over FaZe Sensei King Kenney/FaZe SenseiKing Kenny bested FaZe Sensei in the ring according to a majority decision from the judges on KSI vs Swarmz event panel. However, fans are outraged by the verdict and are saying Sensei got “robbed”. King Kenny vs FaZe Sensei was a much-anticipated fight after Kenny’s overruled win against FaZe Temperrr during the UK vs. USA event in March 2022. Now, after King Kenny’s victory by majority decision, fans are predicting there will be a similar overruling for this bout as well. King Kenny scores “outrageous” win over FaZe Sensei From the view of the audience, it seemed like Sensei was in the driver’s seat from the opening bell. He even scored a knockdown punch early in the first round and now the official call from the judges has mystified the world. The final round ended in a flurry of punches, and while Kenny may have landed a few in the closing seconds, even the announcers seemed sure that Sensei’s careful fighting style had locked up the win. However, when they lined up to make things official, the ruling was that King Kenny had taken the fight by majority decision. This result set social media alight, with accusations immediately being thrown toward the judges for this event. “Robbed” and “rigged” started trending almost immediately after the fight, showing fans’ disdain for the ruling. Other FaZe members weighed in on the decision, and it’s a real throwback to the decision made in King Kenny’s fight against ‘FaZe Temperrr’ back in March. Temperrr won that appeal, making Kenny hungry for a win here. As a fan pointed out, even Kenny looked surprised by the ruling. With the number of calls for an appeal on the verdict, there’s a good chance that we’ll see another appeal coming from FaZe in an effort to reverse this decision. Even the man in question has teased that the decision will get appealed once again. While the King may have won the match according to the officials, it remains to be seen whether or not this result holds up to further scrutiny.

  • KingGothalion pivots to exclusive Facebook Gaming deal after Mixer closes – Dexerto

KingGothalion pivots to exclusive Facebook Gaming deal after Mixer closes Ritual for Bungie/GuardianConCory ‘KingGothalion’ Michael has become the first high-profile Mixer streamer to declare his allegiance following the Microsoft-owned streaming website’s confirmation of closure. He revealed he will be joining Facebook Gaming on a new exclusive deal, starting June 24. Gothalion’s pivot to Facebook Gaming comes less than a day after Microsoft announced the Mixer streaming platform would be shut down. The Twitch rival will now transition into part of Facebook’s platform. The platform’s biggest names included Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins, Michael ‘Shroud’ Grzesiek, and Gothalion; all penned exclusive multi-year deals with the now-defunct platform. While the first two have not yet unveiled their next moves, Gothalion has flown his new colors already — a deep, Facebook blue. “Ten months ago I joined the Mixer team. My hope was to create a more robust and competitive streaming market, while mentoring streamers on Mixer, helping them grow their brands, and creating a space we can all feel safe streaming in,” he said. “My mission hasn’t changed. I’ll be joining the Facebook team. Just like them, my doors will be open to all Mixer streamers now looking to find a new home. Starting from this Wednesday, I’ll see you on Facebook. Different address, same me.” Gothalion may already be in the process of setting up shop at Facebook Gaming, but Ninja and Shroud have kept their next moves rather quiet. One question mark for Blevins and his future, in particular, is the feud sparked with Twitch after his huge 2019 departure. Facebook Gaming has also confirmed the platform would not be “actively pursuing exclusive agreements” with any former Mixer stars. Vivek Sharma, who helms the social media giant’s gaming arm, said it would be “up to them, and their priorities.” According to sources, Facebook approached the powerhouse pair to keep them on board during the switch, but were knocked back. Instead, both chose to opt-out of the transition, with full contract payments. They are currently weighing up options. There’s a silver lining to the major shift from Mixer to Facebook Gaming as well. Mixer kept a tight leash on their exclusive partners in terms of where they could stream. Facebook seems more relaxed about their own deals. On April 23, Facebook streamer DisguisedToast appeared back on his Twitch channel for a Just Chatting broadcast, despite inking a deal with the social media platform in November. At the time, he confirmed his admins “had allowed it”. In fact, they even encouraged him to do it, Toast said. Microsoft has set Mixer’s final day for July 22. Following that date, all links on the dissolving platform will redirect to Facebook’s gaming hub. All Mixer users can connect their accounts there “to make it easier” to transition next month.

KingGothalion ditches Twitch to join Mixer with Ninja and shroud Cory ‘KingGothalion’ Michael has been streaming on Twitch for six years, but decided to make the switch to Microsoft’s streaming platform Mixer. The streaming platform war of 2019 is heating up even more as following the moves of both Michael ‘shroud‘ Grzesiek and Tyler ‘Ninja‘ Blevins from Twitch, now we have KingGothalion making the jump to Mixer. Gothalion is just the latest streamer to make the switch and he explained he first got into contact with Microsoft over the summer. He made his announcement at the end of his Twitch stream on October 27, but also posted an announcement video to Twitter where he went more in-depth about the reasons he changed. “I sat down thinking this was gonna be a tough decision, but it was actually kinda easy,” he said. “It is my belief that working closer with Xbox and Microsoft is not only gonna help us propel what we’re doing but also propel what’s also has been important to the channel, which is doing good in gaming.” New Horizons@WatchMixer https://t.co/P8eAdCdW1p pic.twitter.com/3QslVNf78x — Gothalion (@Gothalion) October 27, 2019 Gothalion is well-known in the Destiny community but has also made a name for himself through his donations to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital for cancer research. At the time of his switch to Mixer, he had amassed over a million followers on Twitch, so he’ll have to start the journey over. The King has arrived! Welcome to Mixer @Gothalion :crown: https://t.co/ibRyfisYCp — Mixer (@WatchMixer) October 27, 2019 Like shroud and Ninja before him, the first month Gothalion is on Mixer will feature a free subscription for all viewers. His first stream will take place on October 29, and anyone looking to watch him live will have to do so on Mixer as that’s where he’ll be exclusively with his broadcasts from now on. It’ll be interesting to see who else is planning on a switch behind the scenes as both shroud and now Gothalion caught everyone by surprise with their decisions coming just days apart from each other. Dr Disrespect says he was approached by Mixer first, but it’s hard to tell if that was his character talking, or if it was the man underneath the persona, Guy Beahm. It’s almost certain that Microsoft will be talking with and picking up more streamers as time goes on, so stay tuned for that.

  • King Kenny claims FaZe Clan tried to buy Beta Squad in FaZe Temperrr face-off – Dexerto

King Kenny claims FaZe Clan tried to buy Beta Squad in FaZe Temperrr face-off FaZe Clan/Beta SquadIn their pre-fight face-to-face, Beta Squad’s King Kenny claimed that FaZe Clan tried to buy the massively popular UK YouTube collective — though Temperrr denied any knowledge of it. The Showstar UK vs USA boxing event on March 5 is bringing together some of the top creators and influencers from either side of the Atlantic, with fighters going head-to-head not only for themselves but to represent their country. The co-main event sees King Kenny face off against FaZe Clan founder and owner Thomas ‘Temperrr’ Oliveira and, on March 2, just days before the fight, they faced off for the first time ahead of the bout. Among the usual line of questioning for a boxing event, with questions about their training camps, regime, and more, they also spoke a little about who they were in the space. During the face-off, host Andy Shepherd asked Temperrr whether he knew who Beta Squad was before the fight, curious about his thoughts on the collective and whether he knew much about Kenny himself. Things got awkward when Temperrr said that he was not aware of Beta Squad before agreeing to the fight — and Kenny simply laughed and insisted that couldn’t be true. “Your whole team literally tried to sign us,” he told the FaZe Clan owner. “So what are you talking about? Your own team don’t rate you. The fact that you’re a CEO and they didn’t tell you.” Timestamp 6:02 Beta Squad is home to some of the most popular and fast-growing creators in the UK. Alongside Kenny, Beta Squad consists of Chunkz, Niko Omilana, Sharky, and Aj Shabeel, with millions of subscribers between them. FaZe Clan is no doubt one of the biggest brands in gaming and the online entertainment world, and acquiring Beta Squad could have seen a huge shift in their UK fanbase if what Kenny says is true — though Temperrr denies any knowledge of it.

  • Kim Zolciak Biermann called off divorce with husband Kroy – Dexerto

Kim Zolciak Biermann called off divorce with husband Kroy Former Real Housewives of Atlanta star, Kim Zolciak Biermann, has called off the divorce from her husband, Kroy, just weeks after the two filed for it. Bravo’s RHOA alum, Kim Zolciak Biermann, recently filed for divorce from her husband, former NFL player Kroy Biermann, after 11 years of marriage. Before filing for a divorce, it was revealed that the couple fell into financial hardship. The couple owed the IRS over $1 million in taxes, causing Kim to sell her belongings – including her iconic blonde wigs for $2,750 each. Although Kim and Kroy have their differences, they are working out their relationship for the sake of their four young children. Kim Zolciak Biermann and Kroy make an attempt to reconcile instead of divorce While facing financial troubles, Kim and Kroy almost had to sell their Atlanta mansion. The two nearly faced foreclosure, but were able to keep their home from selling at an auction. Having four young children together, the couple recently decided to reconcile, and both of them called off their divorce. One thing each of them has to work on, however, is their addictions. To fans of Kim, it comes as no surprise that she has a gambling addiction. As for Kroy, some may be surprised to find out that he smokes marijuana. Kim even went as far as saying he did so around their kids. Friends and family of the pair have recently shown their support for the loving, yet tumultuous relationship of Kim and Kroy. Current RHOA star and Kim’s previous cast mate, Sheree Whitfield, shared on the Virtual-Reali-Tea podcast that she hoped the couple could reconcile their differences, saying, “Just because you filed — because we … saw the love they had for each other — that doesn’t mean that it’s over.” Continuing, “I don’t know if they’ve had counseling. I don’t know how far they’ve gone. I just don’t want to see it over for them two.” To make things work, the two will have to work on themselves. Since they are working on their relationship for the sake of their children, fans aren’t worried this reconciliation will be difficult, as both Kim and Kroy adore their family and kids. Divorce has become a hot topic of conversation in online circles as of late, with Kim and Kroy’s separation taking over social media – but there’s another internet personality who’s gone viral for saying divorce should be banned, altogether.

She’s even premiered a plethora of hairdos like her iconic Marilyn Monroe platinum blond look at the 2022 Met Gala. However, her latest hair debut has fans cackling behind the computer, as they won’t let up on comparing her to a variety of movie characters. Fans call out Kim Kardashian for looking like a “Karen” with her new hairstyle Kim Kardashian is infamous for changing up her look. She’s rocked plenty of knockout outfits like skintight latex, barely-there bikinis, and has also kept it cozy in her SKIMS shapewear. Kardashian’s hair has also gone through changes over the years, as she’s been seen as a brunette, blonde, with braids, updos, and most recently, a short bob that cuts just above her shoulders and right at the chin. After debuting the look a couple of weeks ago in a new SKIMS campaign on Instagram, fans have finally taken notice and have fled to the internet to troll the billion-dollar brand owner. Fans were mostly posting memes of movie and TV characters who have worn the bob hairstyle, with one fan saying, “[i]t’s giving Willy Wonka.” it’s giving willy wonka pic.twitter.com/ocGLVg4FAm — Jen Aydin’s blunt (@ellethescorpio) August 15, 2023 Others were just as uncandid with their comparisons, saying that Kardashian resembles Lord Farquaad from Shrek, saying, “Lord Farquaad, is that you?” Another comment dug even deeper into the Lord Farquaad similarity, saying, “when she sends an Ogre and his donkey companion to save Fiona from her dragon’s keep, then what?” Among Lord Farquaad and Willy Wonka comparisons were memes of Dora The Explorer as well as Taylor Swift, who have both notably repped the bob. But fans didn’t stop there, as they couldn’t get enough of the banter. They continued to come up with various names for the SKIMS owner like, “Kim Bobdashian,” and “Karen Kardashian.” Though Kardashian comes across as confident in her looks, she did admit to Kelly Ripa on Live With Kelly and Ryan that her hair is “high maintenance.” She has yet to comment on her new hairdo and the criticism she received for it, but if there’s one thing about Kim K, it’s that she’ll continue to change it up regardless of the comments and comparisons.

Kim Kardashian’s viral chav makeup tutorial sparks response from song creator Millie B TikTok: kimkardashian / YouTube: MarvellousKim Kardashian took TikTok by storm after uploading her “chav” makeup tutorial on TikTok, using the viral song ‘M to the B’ — and the song’s creator, Millie B, has responded. On January 18, Kim Kardashian uploaded a TikTok that put the entire internet in a chokehold. The reality TV icon shared her take on a “chav” makeup tutorial, giving herself big, blocky brows, nude lipstick, and overly-baked under eyes. The clip was set to a song from UK grime artist Millie B — more specifically, her famous diss track ‘M to the B’. It took TikTok by storm in August 2020 after being used in Bella Poarch’s viral video that still ranks as the site’s most-liked post of all time. Kim’s TikTok took off almost immediately, and boasts over 27 million views at the time of writing… and it looks like Millie B is here for it. Millie B “embraces” Kim Kardashian “chav” makeup style The BBC caught up with Millie B to get her take on the whole situation, and it looks like the iconic grime girl is embracing Kim’s take on the “chav” style, as seen in her ‘M to the B’ music video. “Sometimes I do take things to heart, but when it comes to that, I sort of embrace it,” Millie said in a statement to BBC Newsbeat. “People are copying the way I look in that video, it’s a flex really.” “Regardless of how I looked in that video, all girls have done that in the past. They’ve put heavy contour on, their eyebrows might be a bit wonky and it’s sort of the look.” For those out of the loop, a “chav” is a pejorative term used to refer to youths who wear fake designer clothes, popular athletic shoes, and excessive amounts of jewelry. For women, the “chav” style can also include makeup similar to what Kim Kardashian wore in her video, big brows and all. Luckily, it seems that Millie B is cool with Kim’s take on the style. This is just the latest viral moment from the Kardashian-Jenners after Kim’s daughter, North, took TikTok by storm when she used a filter to transform into her dad, rapper Kanye West.

Kim Kardashian’s Hollywood mobile app shuts down after raking in hundreds of millions GluAfter 10 years of playtime, having raked in over $200 million, Kim Kardashian’s mobile game, “Kim Kardashian: Hollywood” is shutting down. Kim Kardashian launched her mobile game back in 2014 to huge success as the app quickly made millions for the star, but now after almost a decade, it’s a curtain call for “Kim Kardashian: Hollywood”. The mobile game app allowed users to roleplay as a character on their journey to becoming a celebrity, including dating appropriate A-listers and taking jobs like modeling contracts. Players could also purchase an in-game currency, known as K-stars, to help their gameplay, like buying outfits or speeding up the wait time between actions. The app was a huge success for Kardashian, who pocketed around $45 million of the $200 million USD it made in its first year. “I’m so grateful from the bottom of my heart to everyone who has loved and played Kim Kardashian: Hollywood in the past 10 years,” Kim said, speaking to TMZ about the app shutting down. The social media star went on to say she now felt it was time to “focus” her “energy into other passions.” Fans of the game reacted to the news on Reddit. “This is actually so beyond upsetting,” said one, adding “There is no other game like this.” “I’ve been playing for 10 years and I’m gonna miss all of my outfits I’ve earned,” said another. But some fans were also frustrated by the news, “I’m actually sad and want a refund,” one player said. “Same! I spent way too much on this game,” another agreed, prompting someone to chime in with: “It was way too easy to spend $3.” The mobile app has been removed from both Apple and Android app stores already. For current players, the game officially shuts down on April 8 this year, marking almost a decade of serving up Hollywood dreams to fans.

Appearing on Jimmy Fallon’s Tonight Show, the SKIMS founder was quizzed about her relationship status following her divorce from Kanye West. While Kim confirmed she wasn’t “seeing anyone” for the time being and was definitely single, she added that her kids have been hoping to get her back in the “love scene”. Their plan of attack? ( Topic begins at 3:50) “It’s so funny because my kids try to set me up,” Kim said, explaining that her four children with West were “ready now” for their mom to start dating. She went on to call her children’s choices for her love life “so particular”, as they would make “lists” of any viable options. According to Kim, eight-year-old Saint West wants his mom to be with “any basketball player or soccer player”, though the Kardashian wasn’t as convinced: “I’m like, ‘If you only knew’. Like, it’s [a] no. No, no.” Kim then revealed that “some of” her kids thought their mom would be better suited trying her luck with streamers, though she didn’t share which ones in particular. However, any streamers thinking this might be their chance to romance Kim will have to put their plans on hold, as she continued, “They try to sneakily set me up and I’m like, ‘Guys, this just isn’t what I want right now.’” Nonetheless, it didn’t take long for viewers to start theorizing which streamers might have made the list. Some suspected Kai Cenat, as he had already met the celebrity family after surprising North West for her birthday. Other names that popped up on X (formerly Twitter) included Duke Dennis and even Adin Ross.

Kim Kardashian warned by PETA after video shows her dogs seemingly living in garage TIKTOK: needthedeetsKim Kardashian has been issued a warning by PETA after a now-deleted TikTok showed her dogs seemingly living in her garage. Animal rights organization PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) spoke with Page Six after a controversial video of Kim’s dogs went viral. In the viral TikTok clip, which was shared on Kim and North West’s joint account, it appeared as if her two Pomeranians lived in the garage of her family mansion. However, after fans questioned whether this was how the dogs, Sushi and Sake, were treated at the reality star’s home, it quickly got deleted. Lisa Lange, senior vice president at the animal rights charity, has since spoken out over the clip, stating that dogs “deserve to feel safe, loved and live inside the house.” She told Page Six: “Knowing that Kim Kardashian is anti-fur and mostly vegan, we are hoping hard that she does not relegate her dogs to life in a garage.” “What PETA does know is that dogs are highly social pack animals who need more than just soft beds and decorative stockings. They deserve to feel safe, loved, and to live inside the house as part of the family.” After the deleted video got reposted by TikTok user NeedTheDeets, many viewers took to the comments to share their frustrations with the clip. “They’re not being mistreated, but you’d think someone in a mansion would have a dog room inside the mansion and not the garage,” one commented. “She’s literally a billionaire and keeps her dogs in the garage. Wtf,” another added. Others rushed to defend the ‘SKIMS’ founder. “Y’all know her garage is heated to the fullest. I see nothing wrong with this at all,” one user insisted. “I’m sure that garage is heated, they’re fine,” another wrote. At the time of writing, Kim has not yet addressed the video.

“Kim Kardashian saved my life” says TikToker who was shot and left for dead After being shot in the abdomen and left for dead, Angelina Wiley has revealed to TikTok that Kim Kardashian saved her life. Though best known for her reality television show and numerous other media appearances, Kim Kardashian has long been expanding into the fashion world. Amongst her fashion endeavors was the SKIMS shapewear clothing brand, launched by Kardashian in 2019. But not only are these shapewear fashionable, they might actually be responsible for (literally) saving a life. “Kim Kardashian saved my life,” TikToker says While waiting for a Lyft on January 1, 2023, in Kansas City, Missouri, Angelina Wiley was caught in the crossfire of a shooting that ended up striking her with four bullets in her abdomen. Incredibly, it was Kardashian’s shapewear brand SKIMS that she wore underneath her New Year’s Eve dress, that she credits for saving her life. “[i]t was so tight on me, that it literally kept me from bleeding out,” she said in a now-viral TikTok clip. Wiley is not only thanking her SKIMS bodysuit for saving her life, but she has also deemed the popular beauty mogul as the sole reason she was able to live to tell the tale, saying, “Kim Kardashian saved my life.” Wiley continued to tell her story, saying, “Call it fate or Jesus, but Imma call it Kim.” Kardashian has since reposted Wiley’s TikTok to her own Instagram story and included the praying hands emoji in good faith for Wiley. Those that have seen Wiley’s TikTok have also weighed in on her miraculous survival, saying, “Okay, but you should definitely be a skims sponsor,” while also tagging the shapewear brand. Other viewers applauded Wiley for her survival, saying, “That’s wild girl! So glad you survived.” And, “That’s actually incredible – glad to see you’re okay.” Wiley is currently “praying” she will get an endorsement from Kardashian’s SKIMS. Kardashian, however, has not responded with anything leading to believe she will.

Kim Kardashian set to pay more than a million dollars in cryptocurrency settlement YouTube: Kim KardashianKim Kardashian has settled with the Securities and Exchange Commission for over a million dollars after the government program alleged that she had made a major mistake when promoting the EthereumMAX crypto coin. There’s no denying that 2021 was a big year for cryptocurrency. For the first time since its inception, the concept found major public traction and began to infiltrate mainstream culture like never before. While the rush was very exciting for those involved, it also meant that more and more people were jumping onto the hype train a little faster than they might have otherwise. Kim Kardashian was one of those names, and while she never admitted to being guilty of anything, she has agreed to pay the SEC the money they’ve asked for in relation to an EthereumMAX advertisement she posted on Instagram in June 2021. Kim Kardashian pays the SEC over a million dollars after crypto ad controversy The post in question was featured on Kardashian’s IG story and started off with “Are you guys into crypto? This is not financial advice, but sharing what my friends just told me about the Ethereum Max token!” While the ending of the post did contain the “#ad” that is required by Meta (and by the U.S. government) to discern sponsored posts from regular recommendations, the SEC deemed that she did not take the appropriate care to make it clear she had been paid for the promotion. SEC Chair Gary Gensler took to Twitter and used the moment to remind everyone that just because a celebrity endorses a product or an opportunity doesn’t mean it’s right for every investor. Kim K isn’t alone in crypto-based legal troubles, as investors previously sued her as well as basketball Hall of Famer Paul Pierce, and legendary boxer Floyd ‘Money’ Mayweather over “artificially inflating” the value of the same coin earlier this year.

Kim Kardashian responds to TikTok accusations of photoshopping niece Stormi Instagram: kimkardashianTV personality Kim Kardashian is opening up about past claims from a TikToker that accused her of photoshopping over her niece, Stormi, with a photo of her other niece, True. Kim Kardashian recently responded to accusations of photoshopping boyfriend Pete Davidson’s face after fans felt his nose and jawline were just a little too perfect. Kim says that his jawline was “snatched to the point you guys thought I photoshopped it,” and asked “How do you photoshop a live photo?” However, she did have a confession to make regarding past photoshopping claims that a TikToker brought up several months ago. Click here if TikTok fails to load. In late 2021, Kim posted a photoshoot of her daughter, Chicago, at Disneyland alongside sister Khloe Kardashian’s daughter, True. However, TikToker ‘maiachondrialmembrane’ pointed out that it seemed like Kim had pasted niece True’s face on top of another one of the Kardashian kids — Kylie Jenner’s daughter, Stormi. Fans were quick to notice this apparent photoshop and called out the media mogul on Instagram… and months later, she’s finally opening up about it. After discussing the Pete Davidson photoshop scandal, she admitted to pasting True’s face over Stormi’s, saying that Kylie had initially not wanted the photos of Stormi posted online. “Ugh, this one needs some serious explaining,” she began. “Okay okay, so you guys know I am all about my aesthetic! And my IG grid is pink and blue lately. Isn’t it so cute and well planned out!” “The original pics were Stormi! However I asked Kylie if I could post them and she said she wasn’t really feeling posting them at the moment and so I respect that! But it wasn’t going to mess up my IG feed. Chi was wearing pink and it matched perfectly.” Kim went on to say that she “didn’t think it would be that big of a deal if her own mom questioned if I snuck her to Disneyland for the first time” and thanked True for “taking one for the team.” Thus far, the internet’s response seems to be fairly critical of the photoshop scandal — although this is hardly the first time their photo editing proclivities have come under fire. This news comes after Kim finally launched her very own solo TikTok account just a day prior, which has already racked up 3.1 million followers.

Kim Kardashian gets Roblox ‘experience’ developer banned after appearance on The Kardashians Roblox Corporation / Hulu: The KardashiansAfter a 20-year stint on Keeping up with the Kardashians, the new show from the divisive celebrity family has premiered on Hulu, and it’s already a heavily chaotic mess with Kim targeting Roblox right out of the gates. Kim Kardashian has a way of drumming up press, all the way from shooting into stardom for ‘the tape’ with Ray J. To now, 20 years later, going to war with a Roblox ‘experience’ dev over that same tape. In the premiere episode of the new show, Kim’s son is excited to show his mom something on Roblox. He giggles while bringing an iPad to the 41-year-old mother of four. Unsure of what she was seeing the child explained it was a game on Roblox. “Oh it’s a game? Oh then we’re suing them if it’s a game with my name and face.” A threat she clearly followed through with, as the Roblox developer behind the game was banned from the platform by the time the show went to air. Talking about her experiences surrounding this issue, the multi-billionaire went on to say “I’m the underdog” before declaring “I have all the time, all the money and all of the resources to burn them all to the f***ing ground.” Explaining in greater detail what the game was advertising, Kim said “This is supposed to be unreleased footage from my old tape, this is the last thing I want as a mom, for my past to be brought up 20 years later.” In response to the issue, parents were concerned about what their children might be getting exposed to on Roblox’s platform, with one Twitter parent commenting “Why I will never allow my children play that game” In a reply to Polygon, a Roblox spokesperson stated “The referenced video was never available on our platform—we have strict moderation and policies to protect our community, including zero tolerance for sexual content of any kind which violates our Community Rules.” The statement continued, confirming Roblox had acted swiftly: “The text reference to the tape that got around our filters was quickly taken down and fortunately visible only to an extremely small number of people on the platform. We also swiftly took down the associated experience and banned the community developer involved with the incident.” Reactions to the information have ranged from support of the social media moguls with one user commenting “maybe, just maybe don’t allow stuff like this on a platform where kids play” to skepticism around the authenticity of the reaction: “Funny how this didn’t come out until after the episode aired. It’s not like these episodes air the day it was filmed. She seemed fine not addressing it until then.”

Interview Magazine’s September 2022 issue features Kim Kardashian on the front cover, with the outlet’s editor-in-chief Mel Ottenberg sitting down with Kim to chat about the state of the USA, her career, and much more. During the conversation, Ottenberg mentions how Kim Kardashian has always described herself as a woman with no talent, then asking Kim to help her “get the record straight” by explaining what she does consider her strengths to be. “I think it came from people saying, what are you famous for? And I’m like, Well, we have a TV show. But just because we’re not singing and dancing and acting on the show doesn’t mean that the fame didn’t come from that. “But then, I would write that as a hashtag, not bad for a girl with no talent, because people used to be like, Well, what do you do? What’s your talent? And I’m like, didn’t know I needed one.” Kim Kardashian then went on to add that she has a “million f**king talents” that she could list off to tell her critics the “weirdest f**king shit on the planet” but ultimately, she believes her “talent is marketing and the business behind selling products and knowing what the customer wants and making it feel attainable, but also a bit unattainable at the same time.” She then calls this ability a “bit of magic and business savvy”, that she has “a problem being super confident” and that when talking about herself she has “always been more self-deprecating” and “shy.”

Kim Kardashian dresses as TikTok ‘Krissed’ meme for Kris Jenner’s birthday YouTube: MsKendallandKylie / Instagram: kimkardashianFans are loving Kim Kardashian’s recreation of Kris Jenner’s outfit from the iconic ‘Lady Marmalade’ video that spawned the viral ‘Krissed’ meme which took over TikTok in June. Like many other social media platforms, the Kardashians and Jenners have a huge presence on TikTok, and the family regularly garners millions of likes and views with their videos uploaded to the app. They have had a number of viral moments on the platform, and one of the most memorable reached its height of popularity in June, when the ‘Krissed’ meme took over the internet. As part of this trend, users would start their videos with a shocking (but false) rumor to draw viewers in, before pranking them with a video of Kris Jenner dancing, along with a caption such as “you just got Krissed.’ The clip, featuring Kris wearing a green sequin dress, was taken from a 10-year-old video uploaded to Kendall and Kylie Jenner’s shared YouTube channel, in which the family danced to the song ‘Lady Marmalade.’ The trend completely took over the app, and now Kim Kardashian has recreated Kris’ iconic look from that video as part of her mom’s birthday celebrations. • Kim Kardashian explains rules for daughter North’s TikTok usage – Dexerto

Kim Kardashian explains rules for daughter North’s TikTok usage TikTok: kimandnorthKim Kardashian has revealed the rules she puts in place in order for her daughter North West to use TikTok, with the duo regularly going viral with their videos together. North West and her mother Kim Kardashian have had a joint TikTok account together for over a year now, and the pair are constantly uploading videos taking part in the app’s many viral challenges. In an episode of ‘The goop Podcast’ with Gwyneth Paltrow, Kim explained some of the rules she has in place regarding nine-year-old North’s use of the video app. “I think every family is different, even within my family. How Kourtney operates, how Khloé operates, how Kylie…we always say every family is different,” she explained. “With social media, it is hard because all of the cousins, all my nieces and nephews, they’re all best friends with my kids. They’re all the same ages. So if Penelope has a TikTok, North wants a TikTok, and all the girls at school have a TikTok.” “However, I have made a rule with their dad about it. He’s not happy about that. I respect that. But it can only be on my phone,” she said, referring to Kanye West’s disapproval of his daughter being on TikTok. She went onto explain that they “don’t do comments,” with their comment sectioned turned off on all of their uploads, and that North isn’t able to “scroll and look at things.” “I take it as more of a creative thing, as long as it’s age appropriate, and they’re having fun… and it’s so annoying because I just won’t have my phone for so long because she’ll take it and be doing that.” “I found a groove with her TikTok, as long as it’s me and her together and I’m there. That works for now. But it’s a crazy world, I don’t deny that.” The mother-daughter duo are regularly garnering millions of views and likes for their uploads on TikTok, creating many iconic social media moments.

  • Kim Kardashian blasts “hate speech” after Kanye West’s viral outburst – Dexerto

Kim Kardashian blasts “hate speech” after Kanye West’s viral outburst Kim KardashianSocial media icon Kim Kardashian hit out at “hate speech” after her ex Kanye West made headlines for a multitude of controversial statements. Rapper and fashion designer Kanye West has been all over the news in October due to a number of inflammatory statements made across social media over the month. The comments were so harsh the 45-year-old was suspended from Instagram and Twitter. Some of the targets were slammed for being “anti-Semitic,” leading Ye to shade Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg after the ban hammer came down on his account which he had used to spread the message. Now, Kanye’s ex-wife Kim Kardashian has spoken out after the viral tirade. Kim Kardashian hits out at “hate speech” after Kanye comments On October 24, the socialite shared a message condemning “hate speech” as “never OK or excusable.” The 42-year-old also added, “I stand together with the Jewish community and call on the terrible violence and hateful rhetoric towards them to come to an immediate end.” The comments came after the American Jewish Committee called out Ye’s previous comments as “Anti-Jewish.” In February 2021, Kim officially filed for divorce from Kanye West citing “irreconcilable differences.” The pair share four kids and were married for nearly seven years. Since Kanye was suspended from his social media accounts on October 8, he’s been unable to share posts through the internet and has instead turned to make dozens of in-person interviews and network television appearances. Although the post condemning hate wasn’t specifically directed at her ex-husband, many on social media read it to be pointed at the ‘Graduation’ rapper.

  • Kim Kardashian deletes TikTok video after fans notice “bruises” on her jaw – Dexerto

Kim Kardashian deletes TikTok video after fans notice “bruises” on her jaw TIKTOK: kimandnorth/INSTAGRAM: kimkardashianKim Kardashian posted and quickly deleted a TikTok video, after concerned fans spotted “bruises” on her face. The reality star shared a video of herself and her 9-year-old daughter North dancing along to Drake’s ‘One Dance’ in her car. The clip started with North lip-syncing the song lyrics and sticking her tongue out to the camera, before panning over to a bare-faced Kim, who sat in the driver’s seat. Kim appeared to be makeup free and had her hair pulled back in a low bun, as she danced in the car while holding a cup of coffee. The ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians’ star uploaded the video on her and North’s joint TikTok account, but took it down after fans pointed out “weird bruises” on the right-hand side of her jawline. Fans spot “bruises” on Kim Kardashian’s face While the brownish-purple marks on Kim’s jaw were only visible for a second, fans in the comments seemed concerned, as they speculated what may have caused the discoloration. “What’s going on with the weird bruises on Kim’s jaw?” one user questioned. Some thought the spots could be the result of fillers. “Fillers? I think she had those injections that give you a sharp jawline. You can tell when she opens her mouth they look like knots,” someone wrote. “Hopefully those bruises are just jaw fillers & nothing serious,” another added. Others suggested the marks had been caused by psoriasis, a skin condition that causes flaky patches of skin, which can then go on to form scales. The patches can appear pink or red on light skin, and purple or dark brown on black and brown skin. Kim has spoken candidly about dealing with the condition since her twenties. “I’ve become extremely comfortable with my psoriasis,” she said on her sister Kourtney’s blog Poosh. “No matter where it is on my body, sometimes I am fine with showing it off and other times I don’t want it to be a distraction, so I cover it up with body makeup.”

  • Kim Kardashian and North’s TikTok account mysteriously banned – Dexerto

Kim Kardashian and North’s TikTok account mysteriously banned YouTube: Entertainment Tonight / TikTokKim Kardashian and daughter North’s joint TikTok account has been banned, leaving fans confused and looking for answers. Kim Kardashian is more than a reality TV star. The A-list celebrity also boasts a major presence on social media sites like Instagram, where she’s garnered a whopping 351 million followers. She also has a TikTok account with her daughter, North, where the two post short clips together to the tune of 15 million fans. However, this account has been a major point of contention in the past, with dad Kanye West notably rallying against his daughter having a presence on the popular app. The mom and daughter duo also came under fire last month after North cosplayed as rapper Ice Spice in a series of now-deleted videos following a hangout with ‘The Boy’s a Liar’ singer. Kim and North’s TikTok account banned and no one knows why Now, the pair’s account has mysteriously disappeared. On April 6, outlets quickly confirmed that their profile has been banned — and no one knows why. A search for the account doesn’t show up on TikTok, and clicking on the Google search result shows that the site “Can’t find this account.” The mobile app shows that the account has been banned. Luckily, it looks like Kim Kardashian’s official account is still instated on the app — although she hasn’t yet provided an explanation for why she and her daughter’s profile has suddenly gone dark. This isn’t the first time a major TikToker’s account has suddenly been banned without explanation; in 2022, a slew of TikTok royalty saw their profiles get ‘perma-banned’ from the app, including the likes of Charli D’Amelio, Addison Rae, and even Bella Poarch. Luckily, their accounts were quickly reinstated, and the glitch has since been largely forgotten — although, at the time, fans were definitely not happy about the issue. We’ll keep you updated on the status of Kim and North’s now-banned TikTok account right here on Dexerto.

  • Kim Kardashian baffles internet with SKIMS Ultimate Nipple Bra: Is it real? – Dexerto

Kim Kardashian baffles internet with SKIMS Ultimate Nipple Bra: Is it real? SKIMSKim Kardashian has left internet users confused and slightly suspicious after unveiling her latest addition to SKIMS: the Ultimate Nipple Bra. Global temperatures have been increasing with fossil fuels, deforestation, and certain industries adding to the issue. The United Nations has already warned that the world is “perilously” close to reaching a tipping point that could result in “irreversible, catastrophic impacts for people and the planet.” So, in order to do her part, Kim Kardashian is tackling climate change by introducing the SKIMS Ultimate Nipple Bra. And if you think that sounds bizarre, fear not — many internet users were left baffled after this latest product’s reveal. Nonetheless, we promise you it’s real. “The Earth’s temperature is getting hotter and hotter, the sea levels are rising, the ice sheets are shrinking and I’m not a scientist,” Kim stated in her promotional video for the Ultimate Nipple Bra. “But I do believe everyone can use their skill set to do their part.” So came about the bra’s invention, offering wearers a “built-in nipple.” And if you’re lost on how this links to climate change, Kim’s got the answers; “No matter how hot it is, you’ll always look cold.” “Some days are hard, but these nipples are harder,” Kim said. “And unlike the icebergs, these aren’t going anywhere.” The bra will be released on October 31, with SKIMS donating 10% of sales to One Percent for the Planet — “a global network with thousands of businesses and environmental organizations working together to support people and the planet.” Users were split over the Ultimate Nipple Bra and many people were uncertain whether or not to take this latest product seriously; “For a second I thought it was an April Fools but it’s October.” But despite some confusion, there were those who couldn’t wait to get their hands on a bra for themselves — as one person wrote, “I love everything about this.” Another pointed out how the bra could help a lot of women; “[I know] this seems like a joke but I know women who have had mastectomies/reconstructions due to cancer, who have lost their nipples and really want that piece of their femininity back, so they use prosthetic nipples. I’m sure something like this is super valuable to this demographic of women! I feel like this goes hand in hand with Kim’s accessibility line.” Be sure to check out all the latest entertainment news on our page here.

  • Kids roast teacher after he asks what a 30-year-old teacher should get for Christmas – Dexerto

Kids roast teacher after he asks what a 30-year-old teacher should get for Christmas TikTok: @ ninongsol/https://www.tiktok.com/@ninongsol/video/7315872039506611461A teacher just learned the very important lesson to never ask a question you do not want the answer to after going viral on TikTok for getting roasted by one of his students. One personality trait that most young kids have is the ability to be honest with anyone at any time. Which, could sometimes be a good or bad trait. Most kids have a tendency to tell you the whole truth and nothing but the truth, which adults are usually not prepared for. Nonetheless, a teacher decided to test the waters with that theory and was quickly humbled by the experience. Teacher gets roasted after asking Christmas-related question On December 23, Tiktoker by the name of @ninongsol is a proud teacher and recently shared a video of himself sitting in class with his students. He asked his class what they would buy for Christmas to give to someone who is almost 30, alluding to himself. He probably wasn’t expecting what came next. His students instantly started roasting him, giving harsh answers like “a life”, “a cane” and “a wife and kids”. One kid in particular asked him if he was referring to himself, and when he said yes, that made it even worse as far as their comebacks. “Better style” and even “a therapist” were some of the responses that came next, which he took in good stride by nodding along. Thankfully, the video ended on a positive note with one student saying “I’d get you socks”. The big question is whether or not the teacher will be brave enough to ask the same question next year. But, the clip has now reached over 3 million views on TikTok making it his most successful post yet, so that might give him a reason to do it again. • Kids dress up as grandmas to get alcohol in ridiculous TikTok prank – Dexerto

Kids dress up as grandmas to get alcohol in ridiculous TikTok prank TikTok/claare__18[jwplayer ksH6zuKH]Teenagers are using mandatory mask policies as a way to illegally purchase booze in a new TikTok prank phenomenon. With the drinking age being 21 in the United States and 19 in Canadian provinces, teenagers looking to acquire booze have found a solution, thanks to face coverings. By dressing up as elderly grandmothers with the help of Halloween masks, plus the addition of standard medical masks, store employees can have a hard time distinguishing if the outfit is real. Plus, it’s very unlikely that staff at a store would ask someone who appears to be a grandmother for their ID. While some videos have since been taken down or privatized, the most popular clip highlighting this trend comes from user ‘claare__18,’ who showcases her friend dressed in a fully granny getup. “Granny be looking a little different here!” she captioned along with some beer mug emojis. In the clip, the friend wears stereotypical grandmother attire with a headscarf and sweater alongside the masks. After going to a 7-Eleven in the costume, she’s able to go and acquire alcohol. It’s not just the elderly masks that are being used, either; even standard face masks are being used in combination with fake IDs to purchase alcohol. In a “PSA” uploaded by aamandaward, the user explained that teens could use their fake IDS “as much as possible,” because if you wear a mask, people who check IDS can’t see their full face. Obviously, this trend is quite dangerous – not to mention illegal – so it’s not advised that you try it out for yourself, as it could have some serious consequences.

Kid Cudi walks off stage after being hit with a bottle at Rolling Loud 2022 During a live performance at Rolling Loud 2022, alternative hip-hop artist Kid Cudi walked off stage after being pelted with trash. 38-year-old musical artist Scott ‘Kid Cudi’ Mescudi has just released his first “greatest hits” album titled ‘The Boy Who Flew to the Moon, Vol. 1’. Some of the most iconic tracks on the album have racked up hundreds of millions of plays since his debut mixtape was released in 2008. Mescudi has gone on to influence other major stars including Travis Scott – whose two-part moniker is directly inspired by Mescudi – and Jaeden Smith. But the crowd at Rolling Loud 2022 did not hold the same respect for the Man On The Moon as his peers. During a performance on July 22 at the Rolling Loud music festival, Mescudi cut his set short and stormed off stage after several members of the crowd threw trash on stage. Why did Kid Cudi walk off stage? Kanye West was originally slated to headline Rolling Loud in Miami, but pulled out a week before the festival. This would be the first time a headlining artist would back out of Rolling Loud, but Kid Cudi was set to take the stage as his replacement. Over the past year, West and Mescudi have had an ongoing feud made public thanks to Instagram and Twitter posts. Those who purchased tickets with the intent to see Kanye could share Ye’s malice toward Cudi. As Cudi performed, an attendee threw a water bottle at the stage hitting the artist in the face. He immediately stopped singing and told the audience, “I will walk off this stage if y’all throw one more motherf**kin thing up here. I will leave. I will leave right now.” And on queue, another piece of trash soared onto the stage. Without hesitation, Mescudi walked off the stage and would not return to finish his performance. Twitter user ‘guapgetterjeff‘ posted a video showing that they were the one who threw the final piece of trash on stage. The video was captioned “We wanted Kanye West anyway… Kid Cudi you soft.” Kanye makes Rolling Loud appearance While he backed out of the headline performance, Kanye wasn’t completely absent from the Rolling Loud festival. Following Kid Cudi short showing, Ye would make a surprise appearance during Lil Durk’s set. He would perform ‘Father Stretch My Hands, Pt. 1’, a song that features Kid Cudi on the pre-chorus. Many fans felt this was a slight to Cudi and event-goers as he had backed out from performing just four days before the festival. ‘Cudi’ would make it to the trending tab on Twitter as fans shared their sympathies with the rapper. Many felt he was treated unfairly and didn’t deserve the hate for standing in for Kanye. Others claimed Cudi should have “seen this coming” since he replaced the artist he’s had beef with for the past year.

  • Kid Cudi fans not happy that he thanked Addison Rae for birthday message – Dexerto

Kid Cudi fans not happy that he thanked Addison Rae for birthday message Instagram: KidCudi/Addison RaeA horde of Kid Cudi fans got pretty upset that he tweeted Addison Rae after the TikToker wished the hip hop star a happy birthday. The rise of TikTok has birthed a handful of new social media superstars – including Charli and Dixie D’Amelio, Chase Hudson, Josh Richards, Bryce Hall, and many more. Though, there is no one that is perhaps more polarizing than Addison Rae. The 20-year-old, who has previously been named as the highest-earning TikToker around, divides opinion no matter what she does. It could be her hanging out with the Kardashians or wanting to play Minecraft with Dream, and some parts of social media immediately go bananas and start roasting her. Well, on January 30, she wished hip hop star turned actor Kid Cudi a happy birthday, and he quickly responded – thanking the TikToker for her well wishes. Read More: 100 Thieves’ The Mob announce split – That seemingly turned out to be a misstep for Cudi though, as many of his fans quickly responded, either angry that he’d responded or confused as to why he’d be tweeting Addison Rae. “She did it for the likes man,” tweeted one fan, while another asked if she could name five of his songs. Though, other responses didn’t beat around the bush and wanted him to take back the tweet. “Delete this,” replied many fans, while others posted responses along the lines of “not Addison” and “not her.” https://twitter.com/notapopstan/status/1355616365428809728 https://twitter.com/acexpubg/status/1355628201159000064 However, not everyone was angered by Cudi’s post, and saw it as a bit of a positive, given that if Addison makes a TikTok to one of his tracks, he’ll benefit and gain a few new fans. https://twitter.com/noahpologiies/status/1355636284480315392 Ultimately though, you can’t please everyone, and there’s always going to be someone who gets annoyed by a social media post. Had Cudi not responded, fans of Addison likely would have called him out for ignoring her, or something similar. It’s tough to win over everyone.

  • Kid Cudi slams TikTokers for taking out his lyrics for ‘Now look at this’ trend – Dexerto

Kid Cudi slams TikTokers for taking out his lyrics for ‘Now look at this’ trend Instagram: Kid Cudi/TikTok: lateryenilkaRapper Kid Cudi has called out TikTokers for ‘editing out’ the lyrics of one of his songs as part of a TikTok trend. Cudi, real name Scott Mescudi, told his followers that he “doesn’t f*ck with what they did to my song on TikTok, taking out the lyrics.” Although it is unclear who the ‘they’ Cudi is referring to in this Tweet, it is most likely aimed at TikTok user ‘Ukulele Guy’, who is credited as the creator of the now-viral TikTok sound. The sound, which includes the line “now look at this” from Kid Cudi’s 2008 song ‘Day N’ Nite, has been used in 282.8k videos on the app to date. While the aforementioned line remains in the TikTok sound, the rest of the lyrics have been removed, leaving just the background beat. “We live in a strange time. I’m not flattered,” Cudi continued. I dont fuck w what they did to my song on tik tok takin out the lyrics. We live in a strange time. Im not flattered 🤷🏾♂️ — The Chosen One (@KiDCuDi) March 13, 2021 Some fans were sympathetic to Kid’s complaints, with one Twitter user saying: “It’s his art he created, he has a right to be kinda upset about it. It’s literally about depression and his sadness, and they take his lyrics out and changes the whole tone of it.” However, others were confused by the rapper’s anger, with several fans pointing out that it’s “not that deep” while one Twitter user quipped: “Stop acting like a Kanye.” I dont think im makin it “”deep”” by tweetin how I feel. Now if I was ranting thats another thing. Nothing wrong w me stating I dont approve, plus if u are such a fan, u know my lyrics are most important to me. Im passionate about my shit so idc who has a problem w that https://t.co/Ypzx36mS9W — The Chosen One (@KiDCuDi) March 13, 2021 In response to this criticism, Cudi further clarified his position, saying: “I dont think I’m makin it “deep” by tweeting how I feel.” Read More: Top 20 most followed TikTok accounts – This isn’t the first time Cudi’s interaction with the TikTok world has confused people. • Kid catches on fire while jumping over blazing rope during IRL stream – Dexerto

Kid catches on fire while jumping over blazing rope during IRL stream IRL Twitch streamer CJayRide was horrified after a child appeared to catch on fire while jumping over a flame-covered rope during a live broadcast. CJayRide was at a fire show at Langkawi Beach in Malaysia, and was mesmerized when he noticed people were jumping rope with fire – a burning twist to the popular activity. A woman held one end of the rope while a man in a wheelchair grabbed hold of the other and twirled it for on-lookers to join in and partake in the activity. “Jump roping fire? Oh yeah, I used to do this as a kid too,” the IRL streamer sarcastically said as he observed the spectacle, and as the kid began jumping. “Oh sh*t,” he gasped as the boy did three rotations without fail. However, by the ninth or tenth skip, the young child tripped and appeared to become engulfed in flames. Quickly, the streamer turned the camera away from the boy and back onto his own paralyzed face, seemingly immobilized in awe at what he’d just witnessed. “Okay, he’s on fire,” he observed. “That kid is actually on fire. I had to turn the camera. Am I allowed to show that?” Read More: Top 10 most-watched Twitch Clips of all time – A few moments later, the action picked up with another challenger attempting to jump over the fire rope. However, this time, before the brave attendee could even get a single skip in, the rope hit his leg, prompting him to jump away. “This is kinda insane,” CJayRide laughed, still in shock. For his part, the IRL streamer has experienced some crazy sights on his channel. Back in July in 2019, he was attacked by a man who didn’t want to be filmed. One month later, a stream sniper pretended to mug him before revealing the whole thing was just a joke. It seems like there’s never a dull moment with CJ and hopefully he keeps producing more quality content in 2020.

  • Kicked FaZe Clan members react to sudden exit as org “reboots” – Dexerto

Kicked FaZe Clan members react to sudden exit as org “reboots” Kalei / FaZe BanksFormer FaZe Clan members have been responding to the news of their exit, ranging from confusion to anger to heartfelt goodbyes. We’ve rounded up all the reactions here. On April 28, FaZe Clan’s social media accounts came back to life, announcing a “reboot.” Notably, this included cutting down the content creator roster to just 14 members. As a result, many famous names, some of whom had been associated with the organization for years, were suddenly no longer members. Here is a full list of all the removed content creators, and how they reacted. Blaze He responded to the news with a YouTube video, thanking fans and FaZe for the memories and revealing he had been made aware of the news two months prior. Banks posted on X and called Blaze a “f**king class act” following the video, wishing him “all the success in the world” and stating the OG FaZe member had “summed everything up as perfect [and] honest as anybody could.” Nate Hill Nate Hill wrote in length on X after being cut from FaZe, “I’m beyond grateful for everything they’ve done for me and proud of everything I’ve done to help the team. From commercials, modeling merch drops, interviews with the biggest movie stars on the planet, leading [collaborations] with countless brands like Porsche and Man City. And most importantly competing and performing in some of the biggest eSports events of all time.” “I’m disappointed in how it’s ending. Through our collaboration over the last 6 years, I would have hoped for more than a last-minute phone call before a post was made, but that’s life,” he continued. “One door closes and another opens.” Kalei Kalei teared up speaking about her removal from the organization on stream, claiming she hadn’t made any money from her time with FaZe and expressing that she wasn’t happy with how things had turned out. “Just short of 10 years, my journey with FaZe has come to an end. It’s been a hell of a ride and I couldn’t be happier with who I’ve become,” Dirty announced after getting booted, stating he hoped the brand “lives forever” and addressing his removal on YouTube. Booya Booya wrote on X; “Appreciate the opportunity FaZe gave me to represent them these last 3 years. Wouldn’t trade the memories or friendships for anything. Nothing but love and good things to say from my side.” Kitty “I can’t speak for others, but all I can say on my end is that I tried my best over these years to uphold FaZe’s roots the best I could,” Kitty shared. “It was a fun 10 years & I wish them the best with this reboot. Give them a chance & see where it goes.” JSmooth JSmooth thanked FaZe for his time in the clan, writing, “Unfortunately I did not make the cut. I just want to say I’m extremely blessed to be a part of the best org in the world for 3 years! Created so many memories and friendships. Thank you to FaZe for taking a chance on me. To be a black creator in FaZe is a blessing. Thankful.” H1ghSKY1 After five years, H1ghSKy1 also didn’t make the cut, announcing, “The last 5 years of my life growing up with the Faze fam were some of the best times of my life, and I am beyond thankful to have had an opportunity to be with them. Thank you to all the people who have been here supporting me through the years. I wish them all the best on whatever they choose to do next.” Linkzy Linkzy wrote, “It’s been [an] absolute wild ride and I couldn’t be more thankful for the opportunities and memories. Not the end for me and I am excited to see what we can cook up in the future. Thanks Banks for taking a chance on me in 2013.” Fakie Fakie didn’t take the news as well as some other members cut from the group, claiming he had been assured he would always be part of FaZe. “Sh**s ridiculous at this point. I was literally told in 2018 that I will always be a FaZe member and in FaZe clan unless I did heroin or some crazy sh** on stream,” he said in response. “Like I said either you guys are fake as f**k or I’m in FaZe lol there’s not much wiggle room here.” Bloo Bloo was more accepting, stating, “Countless memories over the last decade. so many clips, so many videos, and much more love than ever expected.” Agony Agony expressed confusion over the news and shared that fans could expect an upcoming video about being cut; “Welp, after 10 years of being in FaZe, (even longer before that if you know)… We were kicked. Unfortunate timing cause I’m on vacation, but will make a video about it when I get home this week. Hopefully, [then] we’ll know why this happened lol.” Sway Sway also confirmed he had been cut, writing, “Yes I have officially been kicked from FaZe, I will forever be grateful for all the things FaZeClan has done for me and I know I wouldn’t be here today without them.” “Although I officially joined FaZe in 2022, I’ve been inspired by the brand and its values since I was 14. For me, FaZe wasn’t just a label next to my name, it literally shaped who I am today,” Proze said in response to being cut. He continued, “Today, I must announce that my time as a FaZe Clan member has come to an end, and it feels bittersweet. This team has meant so much to me over the past decade, and I wish nothing but the best for everyone who remains part of it.” Nio Nio shared, “Didn’t make the cut, it’s been an absolute honor to represent the org that every kid wanted to be in growing up. The last 3 years has been a blessing. Thank you to anyone & everyone who has supported me throughout this journey.” Faxuty Faxuty revealed he found out he had been cut through his chat, saying, “It sucks I found out through my chat and didn’t get a single call or even a text from anyone but it is what it is. I have been in FaZe since practically the start of my career and joining FaZe will always be a special moment for me and my community.” “The memories and people I have met through FaZe will never be forgotten. I grew up watching FaZe and was the biggest fan so this opportunity alone was a blessing & a dream come true,” he continued. “I wish nothing but the best for everyone & hope FaZe returns to what it once was. On to the next chapter.” Cizzors Cizzorz addressed being cut with a bizarre tweet that left fans scratching their heads, writing, “Kicked from FaZe. Breaking up with my girlfriend. New Deathrun today.” Banks words for FaZe’s former members were less warm than those he shared with Blaze, writing, “F*** em all… What does it say about how Blaze reacted vs how some of these random little clout-chasing rats are reacting? We didn’t even recruit you, some f****** weirdo did.” He also revealed Rain had been offered a spot in the new FaZe Clan but had decided to ‘dip’ instead; “It’s all good, we’re [going to] fix this bitch up, homies welcome back anytime. He knows this.” FaZe has already started recruiting new members, starting with Max, with four in total expected.

  • Kick’s new mobile app already has an advantage over Twitch – Dexerto

Kick’s new mobile app already has an advantage over Twitch Kick/Unsplash: @tannerboriackKick’s newly launched mobile app already has an advantage over Twitch, as fans have learned the platform is offering cheaper subs on the app than Twitch does. Months after its initial launch, Trainwreck’s new streaming platform Kick officially has a mobile app for streamers and viewers to enjoy. Released in the early morning of March 27, fans of the budding platform quickly began to check out the features of the newly released app. In doing so, fans found that Kick has given the new app an advantage over Twitch by offering lower prices than the Amazon-owned site’s mobile app. Kick doesn’t charge users app store tax When it comes to apps on both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store, any transactions done in the app are subject to a 30% fee. Twitch recoups that money by raising sub prices on the mobile app, turning their $4.99 tier-one subs into $5.99 — a dollar more on mobile than on the website. Just hours after the Kick mobile app launched on iOS, fans realized the platform’s advantage over Twitch. Instead of charging its mobile users more money, the growing platform has instead opted to bypass the app store entirely by making users add a payment method inside of the app. Twitch isn’t the only platform to pass the app store fees onto the customer, as Elon Musk decided to do it with the latest rendition of Twitter Blue. On the web, a month of Twitter Blue is only $8 while iOS and Android apps charge the customer $11 a month. It’s unlikely that this will affect how much creators earn from their subs, as Kick is likely not being charged an app store fee for transactions. We’ve reached out to Kick and Train for clarification and will update you if either of them responds.

Kick wants Adin Ross to go to North Korea and stream with Kim Jong Un Kick: Adin Ross/Wikimedia Commons: Alexei NikolskyKick boss Eddie Craven told Adin Ross on stream that he wants the influencer to go to North Korea and IRL stream an interview with leader Kim Jong Un. Back in February 2023, Internet star Adin Ross revealed that he had signed one of the first major contracts to stream exclusively on Kick alongside fellow star TrainwrecksTV. Since then, Adin has been in headlines for quite a few things including opening up about his struggles with addiction and being swatted various times. During a recent broadcast, Kick boss Eddie Craven told Adin that he wants to see him go to North Korea and IRL stream an interview with country leader Kim Jung Un. Kick boss wants Adin to interview Kim Jung Un While on a call with Eddie, the two began chatting about wanting to live-stream from North Korea. “I know it sounds like I’m f*cking around, but I swear to god going to North Korea and give them a chance to show their world off, I think this could happen, lets give it a crack,” Eddie said. “Have a think about it, no pressure.” Adin responded: “Alright, I got you bro I won’t let you down Eddie. I’ve decided that maybe I was born on here to solve world peace.” Adin went on to share a message for Kim Jong Un himself, revealing that he’d like to take the North Korean leader out to lunch before an interview. “Let me know if we can do that,” he said.” It’s quite unlikely that the interview will ever happen, but we’ll be sure to update you if it ever actually does. According to the US department of state, citizens of the country cannot use their passport to enter North Korea without special permission — and it has to be in interest to the country. This isn’t the first time Adin has wanted to go out of the country to interview a big name, as he attempted to stream alongside Andrew Tate who is on house arrest in Romania.

  • Kick wants to beat ‘out of touch’ competitors by “treating creators like adults” – Dexerto

Kick wants to beat ‘out of touch’ competitors by “treating creators like adults” Kick/Unsplash: @joshuakettleKick first made a splash when Trainwreck promoted it heavily in December 2022. Since then, it has proven a formidable competitor in the livestreaming space. Dexerto spoke to Kick, to learn more about the platform, and put some of the community’s burning questions to them. Livestreaming, particularly of games, has been dominated by Amazon-owned Twitch for more than a decade. Other players have come (and gone), such as Microsoft’s Mixer, and Facebook Gaming. Only YouTube, so far, has managed to put up a real fight, both for migrating viewership and streamers. But Kick, when it was launched, had ambitious aims. It was clear both from Trainwreck’s promotion and its own social media, that Kick had Twitch firmly in the crosshairs. From increased revenue splits to Twitch’s often-maligned ban policy, Kick came for the king – but did it miss? On Twitter, Kick posted a meme showing that they were defeating “out of touch” competitors. But are they? We spoke to a spokesperson for the company, who has opened up on Kick’s vision, decision-making, and why it’s not actually all too worried about Twitch. It’s now been around 6 months since Kick was pushed by Trainwreck and started its rapid growth. What’s been the biggest challenge in this 6 month period, and the biggest achievement? “The biggest challenge and achievement has turned out to be the same thing for Kick; reprogramming the mindset of an audience that a live-streaming platform needs half of everything a creator has worked for. Kick has now passed off the baton to its Creators who are realising their worth as they now post about their lives changing since joining Kick.” Kick provided an example – and this is not the only creator to boast of increased earnings after making the switch. Former Twitch streamer Ac7ionMann said the switch had meant he earned “life-changing” money. But, the question for some creators is whether Kick will be a sustainable platform long-term, worth risking the audience they have built up elsewhere. What is the ultimate goal of Kick in the long term? Is it to directly compete with Twitch and YouTube’s dominance of live streaming, or does Kick want to be something different that can co-exist with these rivals? “Kick will not kill off Twitch or YouTube any more than Spotify killed off MTV. Kick will just do live-streaming in a relevant way and reinvent the space,” Kick explained. “The best unintended storyline that’s come from the media is that a 6-month-old Kick looks a lot like a 16-year-old Twitch right now; we’re not here to build Twitch 2.0 we’re here to evolve past it like a StarFleet.” This actually raises an issue that was highlighted when Kick first launched – its user interface looks remarkably similar to Twitch in its layout and presentation. Kick also uses Amazon’s IVS livestreaming service to broadcast live content – which a former Amazon engineer said would be very costly. From the look of the site to its most publicized features, Twitch was clearly part of Kick’s initial thought process, but is it still the case? It’s clear, based on the messaging and marketing from Kick, particularly on social media, that you want to directly address many of the complaints that people have with Twitch – Namely with sub-revenue splits and moderation and bans. Is this a guiding principle of your decision-making? “No, listening to our creators and their communities is what drives our decision-making. Treating Creators like adults and being honest about revenue splits is just a byproduct of what your question is picking up on.” Despite this, there has been some criticism too of the moderation on Kick. We’ve covered a number of stories that include overt sexual content as well as anti-social behavior streamed on Kick. Some of these instances resulted in bans, but not all. “We agree with Dexerto’s perception around moderation if this was 2-3 months ago,” Kick admitted. “Today, that narrative is being rewritten by the streamers who come and use the dozens of tools found on Kick’s moderation dashboard. “In addition, we’ve added AI software and additional staff to help flag bad actors.” Some Twitch streamers who have been banned have made jokes that they will have to move to Kick to allow their content. We wanted to know if there could be a grain of truth to these jokes. What is Kick’s philosophy on content moderation and enforcement of the guidelines? Are any of Kick’s policies designed to run contrary to Twitch’s moderation rules? “We can’t comment on Twitch’s rules other than what we see their streamers post about on social media but at Kick, we’re reformative and work with the Creator to make better decisions. Banning most Creators for a week or more means they may miss rent or bills. We feel we can get the same message across with a reasonable ban found via dialogue. Not enough value is placed on “Intent” which is weird since live-streaming is such a personal medium.” Regarding users too, there are also concerns that we’ve seen around chat moderation. This has been a battle Twitch has struggled with for years as well, and continues to. Hateful conduct in chats can be hard to eradicate, but is it something that has been given much thought yet internally? “Our latest moderation-dashboard launch gives creators and their mods the ability to self-police their community by banning words and allow-listing certain profiles,” Kick explained. “Creators may also age-gate their channel and Kick moderators are easy to contact via Discord, email and in many instances in real time via chat. So, yeh, you can say we’ve given a lot of thought to this.” Kick’s ties to Stake and sustainability Kick’s connection to Stake is both well-publicized but also unclear. What clarity can you provide on Stake’s involvement with Kick? “Kick has co-founding members / investors who have ownership in Stake but Kick stands on its own as a live streaming platform,” Kick stated. Kick’s ties to Stake have been a point of contention in the community. For some, the timing of the platform’s emergence after Twitch banned many forms of gambling, it appeared Kick was offering that content a safe haven. This also sparked theories that Kick could run at a loss with high sub-revenue splits, while providing advertisement for Stake. Kick explains this is an oversimplification. Is Kick’s 95% sub-revenue split truly sustainable? Although this has been lauded in the community as a much better deal for creators, there have been concerns that the expenditure for the platform means it will run at a loss. Is this true or an oversimplification? “It’s only an oversimplification because we’ve been told for so long that platforms must take half of everything Creators earn in order to function. There are dozens of revenue streams to tap into that all platforms have access to. The real question is at what point does a platform’s greed become satiated to allow creators to earn a living without blatantly lying to them.” Do you think some streamers may be holding off on switching to Kick until the platform has existed for longer & proven its sustainability? “Live-streaming is suffering from a Mixer hangover. Many Creators had the rug pulled out from under them when Mixer shut down. It’s tough for a Creator to confidently look at their community and say we’re making the move. “This is why we over-communicate with our audience and involve them in every move in Beta from our mobile app launch to gathering opinions about revamping our verification process. Creators need to be confident that Kick is doing it the right way.” As Kick knows, for a platform to truly grow, it needs to make its own stars too. While Kick has signed and plans to continue to sign big names, Kick says the real focus is the “midsized streamer.” “Signing big names is fun and will continue – but the backbone of Kick is the midsized streamer. More importantly, the lifeblood of Kick is any streamer that has an entrepreneur’s ambition and the insanity to believe that their streaming dream can become a reality. “We’ve forgotten, fast, that every “Big Name” had to power up their PC and grind.” From publicly available numbers, Kick’s total visits have grown exponentially in the past few months, with the latest estimate at 80m visits in April. But, With Twitch at 1.1 billion visits, there’s still a big gap – how do you plan to close it? “This is not Kick’s focus; closing in on Twitch or even YouTube numbers takes our eye off the Creator. The most important number reported at the end of April 2023 that got little to no media coverage is the fact that Kick surpassed $10M in subscription/gifted revenue in a little over 3 months. That’s over $9.5M distributed to creators.” Are there any Kick features in the works to make it stand out more from Twitch and other streaming services? “We’re currently drafting our Creator Program that will blow the doors off anything we’ve produced thus far.” While no one knows what the future holds for Kick (nor Twitch for that matter), it’s fair to say that the platform has already proven a more formidable competitor than some initially gave it credit for. Twitch, while it often faces the community’s ire over bans and sub-splits, continues to be the go-to site for streaming, with average viewership still growing, albeit only slightly, in 2023. Kick meanwhile, is still in its growth spurt stage and should have rivals peeking over their shoulder. For streamers, both new and established, the platform is putting forward a tempting opportunity, but questions over its long-term viability may still temper some of that excitement. We hope to check in with Kick again in the future, to see how the platform has progressed.

  • Kick updates fans with new release date for mobile app – Dexerto

Kick updates fans with new release date for mobile app Unplash: @djravine/KickRecently launched streaming platform Kick has updated fans with the new release date for their mobile app for Android and iPhone users. First revealed back in 2022, Trainwreck’s new streaming platform Kick has gained mass popularity with Twitch streamers worldwide moving to the platform full-time. While the site is missing a variety of different features, streamers and viewers alike have been patiently waiting for Kick to release an app for Android and iPhone users. On March 24, the official Kick Twitter page revealed the app’s new release date and fans are excited. Kick reveals updated mobile app release date In the tweet, Kick added a photo with the launch date for the long-awaited mobile app. “Kick app launch. Sunday night EST,” it reads. This means that viewers of the platform will be able to download the app through the Apple App Store and Google Play Store on March 26, 2023, sometime during the night for those in North and South America and early Monday morning in Europe. That is, barring any issues the app may face between now and then. The app was supposed to launch back on March 4, 2023, but issues with it led to the near month-long delay. Fans are excited or it, though, as many took to the replies and quote retweets to share their thoughts on the upcoming launch. “Exactly what we’ve all been waiting to hear,’ one user replied. Another said: “I can’t wait to have the little kick icon on the front page of my phone!” “And that’s a wrap folk. ALL UP FROM HERE,” a third fan commented. It’s unknown what Trainwreck and his team have up their sleeves next for the platform, but we’ll be sure to update you as more information is released.

  • Kick viewership jumps over 400% in only a few months as ex-Twitch stars dominate – Dexerto

Kick viewership jumps over 400% in only a few months as ex-Twitch stars dominate KickThe Kick streaming platform has enjoyed an astronomical bump in viewership thanks to ex-Twitch stars dominating on the service. Billing itself as the “most rewarding gaming and live streaming platform,” Kick was established in October 2022 before officially launching this past January. Of course, the platform’s budding rivalry with Twitch has contributed to its early successes. This especially holds true given that several Twitch streamers have already made the jump. Now there’s data to convey just how successful Kick has become in such a short period of time. Kick’s viewership data shows incredible growth in short period According to a State of the Stream report from StreamElements with data from Streams Charts, Kick is enjoying meteoric month-on-month growth – to the tune of more than 400 percent. The report measures the platform’s viewership stats based on the number of hours watched. Between January and April, then, viewership rose an astounding 404 percent. In January, Kick users watched 12.8 million hours of content; by April, they were tuning in to view about 51.8 million hours. StreamElements estimates the massive leap between April and March came courtesy of Kick’s app launch on mobile devices. In addition to an increasing amount of users, Kick also continues to draw in new creators. Kick had attracted more than 9,000 active channels by the end of January. At the end of April, nearly 67,000 active channels had signed on. Such a boost undoubtedly contributed to Kick’s month-over-month viewership leaps. And it probably doesn’t hurt that a fair number of popular Twitch streamers have joined Kick, as well. Trainwrecks and Adin Ross, of course, count among the most high-profile names to make the switch. Meanwhile, rumors suggest the likes of Kai Cenat could eventually land on Kick, too. It’ll be interesting to see how Kick continues to expand its community in the months ahead.

  • Kick under fire after “creepy” Ice Poseidon stream leads to swatting – Dexerto

Kick under fire after “creepy” Ice Poseidon stream leads to swatting Kick / Ice PoseidonKick is facing backlash after streamer Ice Poseidon allegedly paid a man to hire an escort and broadcasting it live. Ice Poseidon has been involved in a series of controversial events over the past few months, while IRL streaming on Kick. His actions have led to multiple arrests, in June he was arrested by police in Thailand, Bangkok, for giving lap dances in their hotel lounge. Even though he said he could’ve faced a possibility of 5 years in prison, he announced on August 18, that he and his friends were free to go, with the charges being dropped. Not even two months after the previous incident, he was involved in trying to stream a female escort. Ice Poseidon claims he was swatted during Kick live-stream On September 21, a disturbing incident was carried out that involved the American reportedly paying a middle-aged man $500 to set up an encounter with a female escort. Part of the deal was that they had to install hidden cameras around their home so that they could film the events. It was originally thought that Ice Poseidon was arrested as a result of the events that transpired on stream, but he claims they were swatted and that the police “wrote [it] off as LEGAL and safe.” Streamers slam Kick for bizarre escort stream Many have been left outraged by the events and have slammed the streaming platform for its “morals.” Popular Kick streamer MsSavage took to Twitter/X to highlight her views, as others commented. “I do not stand by this kind of content and watching this made me feel so uncomfortable. Point blank: Kick dropped the ball on this one and action needs to be taken immediately,” MsSavage said. “It a shame the platform gets overshadowed with sh*t like this,” one responded. “think one of the main problems people are having with this (besides the content itself) is that one of the co-founders is in chat laughing at it,” another added. “I keep thinking Kick will start to moderate the live content and care about actual laws being broken once they are happy with the level of eyes on their platform. I’m also realizing I’m delusional,” a user said.

  • Kick unveils new “Path to Verification” for streamers to become verified – Dexerto

Kick unveils new “Path to Verification” for streamers to become verified Kick/Unsplash: @joshuakettlePopular live streaming platform Kick has revealed a new “Path to Verification” to become verified on the website. Since it was revealed back in 2022, Trainwreck’s new streaming platform Kick has become one of the most popular sites among creators. Some of Twitch’s biggest creators have moved over to it, including Adin Ross and chess star GMHikaru. Kick has had ways to become monetized and verified as a streamer since launch but revealed new goals to become verified on May 15. How do you get verified on Kick? According to the Kick support website, all verification requests before May 15, 2023, will be handled under the old requirements. For those after that date, however, here are the streaming requirements to become verified on the platform: Stream 30 hours – Stream 12 different days – Average at least 75 concurrent viewers – Have 300 unique chatters – Have at least 20 active subs – Kick also lists a series of account security requirements in order for them to verify your account. Confirmed phone number – Must have 2FA enabled – No username changes – Must have at least 3 on-channel VODs – No TOS violations – These requirements will be tracked over the last 30 days, presumably over a rolling period similar to Twitch. Kick may also revoke your verified status On another page on Kick’s support website, they also revealed several reasons why Kick may revoke a creator’s verified status. Inorganic streams, which include mirror streams, blank streams, and pre-recorded content – 90 days of inactivity could potentially revoke your verification – Artificially inflating views – Repeated violations of Kick TOS in a 30-day period – Your channel must have VOD content – The new goals are definitely more challenging to reach than the platform’s old guidelines, which required 50 average viewers alongside 15 hours of stream time over 7 days. • Kick trolls Pokimane with her infamous cookies after teasing Twitch departure – Dexerto

Kick trolls Pokimane with her infamous cookies after teasing Twitch departure Instagram/mynasnacksKick has trolled Pokimane by bringing up her infamous Myna cookies after the content creator teased a cryptic Twitch departure. Pokimane is undoubtedly the queen of Twitch, not only being the most-followed female Twitch streamer but one of the most followed streamers on the platform flat out. She has largely become synonymous with the platform, with Twitch often using her in various promotions and her staying loyal to the Amazon-owned site while many streamers jumped ship to YouTube or Kick. Though after a cryptic tweet teasing a departure from Twitch, Kick, a platform Poki has been long critical of, decided to do a little bit of trolling. Sharing her tweet, the rival platform responded with a mock image of Poki’s cookie brand, Myna, in the graphic usually reserved to announce a new signing to the platform. Clearly bringing up a controversy the industry remembers all too well. Poki has been critical of the Stake-backed platform ever since it started luring streamers with blockbuster deals, saying signing with the site would “compromise her morals and ethics.” However, it isn’t as if Kick has no hopes of signing the Twitch superstar, as they revealed that they are indeed still interested in working with her on a contract, even if she had vehemently opposed the idea. Kick’s team isn’t opposed to using Poki for a little bit of trolling, as they once even poked fun at her criticisms of the platform in a TikTok ad. As for what’s next for Pokimane after her cryptic tweet seemingly bidding farewell to Twitch, it’s hard to say as fans will need to wait for her next announcement to see what will come afterward for the queen of Twitch.

  • Kick & Trovo feud as Twitch branded content guidelines spark backlash – Dexerto

Kick & Trovo feud as Twitch branded content guidelines spark backlash Trovo Live, KickStreaming platforms Kick and Trovo Live went back and forth on Twitter amid backlash against Twitch for its new branded content guidelines. While Kick is the new kid on the block, Trovo Live has been in the live-streaming game for a number of years. Trovo launched in 2020, serving as Tencent’s answer to the sheer domination of Twitch. Kick has taken on a similar role over the last several months, managing to give Twitch a run for its money by enticing some of the platform’s most popular creators to jump ship. Now Kick and Trovo are both smelling blood in the water as Twitch looks to add branded content restrictions. Interestingly, in the fight to overtake the Amazon-owned service, the two newer platforms have also made time to go at each other’s throats. Kick and Trovo feud on Twitter amid Twitch controversy During the branded content discourse, Twitch users noticed the platform added a new policy that will charge its partners $25 for bowing out of the program. Shortly after this revelation made the rounds, Kick announced it would cover the fee for “anyone willing to break their contract and move to Kick.” A few hours later, Trovo Live made a similar announcement on its official Twitter page, to which Kick responded with the following: “How’d you come up with that idea?” Trovo answered the jab with a joke about an angel whispering the idea in their ear, but didn’t miss a chance to ask, “Btw how did you come up with the idea for your green theme?” At the very least, fans seemed to enjoy the back-and-forth between Kick and Trovo in the Twitter thread. One person wrote, “This is the beef I didn’t know I wanted.” Meanwhile, others were quick to throw out their favorite popcorn meme. “Share some of that popcorn. Humorous competition hell yes,” said another user with a laughing emoji. As the live-streaming platform wars continue, it’s clear that Twitch and Kick aren’t the only ones willing to trade blows.

  • Kick throws shade at Twitch after “priceless” Kai Cenat ban – Dexerto

Kick throws shade at Twitch after “priceless” Kai Cenat ban Kick/TwitchKick has called out Twitch after they banned Kai Cenat, one of their biggest streamers, and threw shade at the rival streaming site over their products. Kick has been setting itself up as Twitch’s biggest rival in the streaming space for a while now, but it’s rare that they get as aggressive as this. In a tweet which tagged MrBeast, the official Kick account described Kai Cenat as a “priceless” loss for Twitch, and dragged the industry titan for sending him “one dollar” custom Air Forces. Kick calls out Twitch for banning Kai Cenat The tweet drew attention to Kick’s main selling point compared to Twitch: the 50-50 revenue split that it takes from streamers. By contrast, Kick takes just 5%, leaving 95% for the content creator. This was a big factor behind GMHikaru’s decision to join Kick. The post also trashes the custom DXRacers that Twitch collaborates with by putting it next to a bin emoji, and it does the same with the custom Air Forces they sent to Kai Cenat. Twitch sent Kai the Air Forces, which have “King of Twitch” displayed on the side, less than a month before they banned him. Kick even managed to one-up Twitch by sending him a pair that he preferred. The tweet also referenced Hasan, another one of Twitch’s biggest streamers, and included a picture of Kai Cenat with a cross through him, with the caption reading: “Banning your #1 streamer = priceless”. Dexerto revealed yesterday that the ban was a temporary one, and that Twitch intends for Kai to return. However, Kick is always fishing for new talent, and this most recent ban may have incentivized big names to make the jump. For more updates on this story, check out our exclusive on why Kai Cenat was banned from Twitch in the first place.

  • Kick trolls Pokimane with ad for streamers to leave Twitch – Dexerto

Kick trolls Pokimane with ad for streamers to leave Twitch PokimaneStreaming platform Kick has trolled Twitch star Pokimane in a TikTok advertisement to entice streamers to leave the Amazon-owned platform. Since the beginning of 2023, we’ve quickly seen the rise of the Stake-backed streaming platform Kick, with many of Twitch’s top talent having signed mega-money deals to jump ship to the new site. So far, Kick has dealt some massive blows to its rival, with creators such as xQc, Adin Ross, Amouranth, and more signing deals worth millions to join the platform. However, it’s fair to say not everybody is sold on the site. Among those that have shown distaste towards Kick include Twitch star Pokimane, who claimed after being asked by a fan if she’d join the platform for at least $10 million that she wouldn’t “compromise her morals and ethics” to switch to the site. Kick trolls Pokimane with ad to attract Twitch users With the feud between the two platforms raging on, Kick certainly hasn’t been shy in sending shots toward its rival. Similarly, Kick has even begun poking fun at Pokimane following her criticism of the platform and the creators have signed deals. As reported by Jake Lucky, Kick is now serving ads on TikTok, which are aimed at getting creators to “Join The Better Streaming Platform.” The ad shows the iconic Beetlejuice ‘I’m just hanging around’ meme on top of the platform’s directory page, which also has the caption “When Pokimane catches a streamer considering Kick.” “These Kick Ads are getting out of control. I can’t even browse tik tok in peace,” Jake wrote on Twitter. It’s fair to say fans of Kick loved the ad, with many praising them for the idea. “Kick marketing team killing it,” said one. “You gotta give them credit, it’s pretty funny,” wrote another. Despite poking fun a bit of fun at the Twitch star, Kick’s CEO Ed Craven revealed that the platform wanted to actually work with Pokimane — and still does despite her being highly critical of the streaming site.

  • Kick teases “KickCon” event in the same location as TwitchCon 2023 – Dexerto

Kick teases “KickCon” event in the same location as TwitchCon 2023 Kick.comLivestreaming platform Kick has teased a potential “KickCon” event, and it’s in the same location as TwitchCon 2023. Since its launch in late 2022, Trainwreck’s streaming platform Kick has skyrocketed in popularity with a wide variety of streamers making their way to the platform. The platform’s leadership has made it clear that they want to continue focusing on creators as they grow the website, with many getting ready to plan meetups across the world. But Kick may want everyone in one place, as they teased a “KickCon” event in a recently tweeted image of a ticket that shows the same location as TwitchCon 2023. Kick teases “KickCon” in Las Vegas In the May 10 post on Twitter, Kick shared a photo of a “complimentary VIP Pass” to an event called “KickCon 2023.” It shows Las Vegas Nevada under the location section, which just so happens to be where TwitchCon 2023 is set to take place in the fall. The event location on the ticket reads “TBA,” but a second tweet from Kick has fans thinking it’s set to take place the same weekend as TwitchCon. Although there’s no telling whether or not the event is actually going to happen, Kick streamers and viewers alike have made it clear that they want it to happen. “DON’T YOU DARE TEASE ME LIKE THIS,” one streamer replied. Another said: “I’m already picking out my outfits. Buying flights. Getting hotel. Who’s coming with me???” Neither Trainwreck nor anyone else in charge of the platform has confirmed that KickCon 2023 is set to take place, but we’ll be sure to update you if they comment on it. In the meantime, head over to our entertainment section for more news and other viral stories.

  • Kick thanks Twitch for sending record number of new users to their site – Dexerto

Kick thanks Twitch for sending record number of new users to their site Kick/TwitchKick smashed the record number of sign-ups on their site in the wake of Twitch’s drama over branded content, and had to thank the Amazon-owned platform for it. Over the last few months, Twitch has gotten into hot water a few times with their streamers due to changes they’ve planned, and also made, to different things on the site. Most recently, the Amazon-owned platform sparked outrage when revealing plans to change branded content. They had planned for streamers to be able to use no more than 3% of the screen for on-screen adverts, which prompted some to threaten to leave the site. Twitch has since backed down on the changes, apologizing to streamers, and saying they’ll go back to the drawing board. However, a few have already made the switch away from Twitch, with many opting to go to Kick. Kick thanks Twitch for boosting sign-ups That’s right, the Stake-backed platform has benefited most from the controversy, recording a record number of users on their site off the back of it. “We just doubled our all time 24h signup record,” Kick tweeted on June 7, attaching a purple heart to represent Twitch. “Shoutout to that other website for the boost.” Kick has been all over the chance to bring streamers to their platform from Twitch as a result of the drama. They’ve offered to pay streamers the $25 cost Twitch has now implemented to cancel partnership deals. Trainwreck, the third largest stakeholder in the site, has been working to get numerous streamers verified and linked up with a sub button if they make the move too. It remains to be seen if they’ll make serious inroads on Twitch’s dominance over the livestreaming sector.

  • Kick takes another stab at Twitch as disgruntled streamer reveals “disgusting” Hype Chat split – Dexerto

Kick takes another stab at Twitch as disgruntled streamer reveals “disgusting” Hype Chat split Kick/TwitchBudding streaming platform Kick has taken yet another opportunity to mock its biggest rival in Twitch after a streamer on the purple brand lashed out at the “disgusting” revenue split for a new Hype Chat feature. The streaming platform wars have been reinvigorated in 2023. Where in previous years we saw the likes of Mixer, Facebook Gaming, and YouTube Gaming all jockeying to take the mantle from Twitch, Kick now serves as the platform’s biggest rival. From blockbuster partnerships with the internet’s biggest streaming stars to a far more lucrative revenue share with its content creators, many have seen the appeal and been drawn over to the newer platform. Naturally, looking to strike a blow at the Amazon-backed brand any chance it gets, Kick is always on the lookout for ways to one-up its competition. This is exactly what happened on July 18, shortly after a disgruntled Twitch streamer hit out at the platform’s new Hype Chat feature. As revealed back in June, Hype Chat on Twitch functions all but identically to Super Chat on YouTube. Viewers can pay a certain amount to have their messages “stand out in chat,” with a portion of the payment going directly to the streamer. Only Twitch Partners have access to this feature at this point in time, though not all are over the moon with their split of the revenue. After having a fan spend $85 on a Hype Chat message, Aussie Twitch streamer Tahlia revealed she only pocketed “$35” of the full amount. “Find me on [Kick] from now on. I’m done with Twitch, I’m livid,” she said. Before long, Kick’s official Twitter account joined the conversation, mocking its rival as you might expect. “Doesn’t sound very hype.” Appealing to the disgruntled streamer, and anyone else in a similar position, they teased the addition of their own ‘Mega Chat’ feature “coming soon” to Kick. Though rather than taking the same cut as Twitch, Kick promised a 95/5 split, giving individual streamers the bulk of the revenue. While we’re yet to see this exact feature implemented on Kick, the platform has indeed been true to its word thus far. Streamers on the platform currently enjoy the same 95/5 revenue split on all subscriptions, a considerable amount more than the average Twitch Partner on a 50/50 split.

  • Kick takes drastic action after streamers report not getting their sub money – Dexerto

Kick takes drastic action after streamers report not getting their sub money KickKick has removed sub buttons from its mobile app after some streamers reported not getting their subscription money. Kick has undoubtedly shaken up the streaming industry over the past year as the site makes blockbuster signings one after the other with streaming contracts reaching the millions in value. And as Kick grows larger, it’s only inevitable for the relatively young streaming platform to go through some growing pains as the site tweaks its TOS rules and straightens out technical issues. However, a major issue has just struck Kick’s mobile app which has led to the platform quickly disabling subscription buttons on handheld devices after streamers reported not receiving their money. Initially found by Twitter user Str3tchy, they reported that he gave 10 gifted subscriptions to a friend of his who was streaming through his phone, however, both he and his friend realized the money never came through. His friend, Form, never received the $70 he gave in gifted subs, and Str3tchy was still charged for the subs regardless. He further reported that Kick’s support told him it wasn’t possible to refund him or re-gift it to Form. Several hours after Str3tchy’s tweet, Kick’s head of product announced they were removing sub buttons from their mobile app due to the issue. “We’ve had to temporarily remove the subscription and gifted subscription buttons from our mobile applications while we quickly upgrade the payment system,” he said in his announcement. “We fully understand the importance of our monetization ecosystem and want to ensure it’s running at 100% accuracy as we update the payment system.” As for when the sub buttons will be back on the mobile app, he says it’s expected to be live again in two to three days. However, you can still sub as per usual on their website.

  • Kick streamers slam platform for allowing offensive account usernames – Dexerto

Kick streamers slam platform for allowing offensive account usernames Kick.comStreaming platform Kick is facing backlash from its users after accounts with harmful and derogatory usernames remain on the site. As more creators continue to make the switch to the new platform, Kick has quickly become one of Twitch’s top competitors over the last couple of months. However, issues have slowly cropped up over time, and many are taking issue with the Kick’s moderation, where users are already pushing the limits without any consequences. Now, streamers are putting the platform on blast as they continue to allow usernames containing harmful slurs. Streamers criticize Kick for harmful account usernames In an April 7 tweet, Twitch and Kick streamer LtKanada hit out at Kick, criticizing the platform for allowing users to create accounts with harmful phrases. “Dear @KickStreaming @Trainwreckstv, you should NOT be able to put in usernames like this,” the streamer wrote on Twitter, alongside sharing a screenshot of an account using a racist slur within its username. “I think Kick is a platform that could have potential, and I’ve enjoyed a few of my streams on there and met cool people,” LtKanada added. “But there’s definitely a lot of things that need to be tweaked. No creator should be harassed like this on any platform. Ruined my vibe and I hope for better.” At the time of writing, Kick is yet to address the latest concerns. However, earlier in April, platform co-founder Ed Craven confirmed that “advanced moderation tools” are on the way after backlash from users for the lack of auto-moderation. The new tools will help combat abuse in chat and stop the use of racism and inappropriate language.

  • Kick stuns the internet after signing NELK Boys – Dexerto

Kick stuns the internet after signing NELK Boys Twitter: KickStreamingMore and more content creators are making the switch to Kick, with the streaming platform now announced they’ve signed the NELK Boys. Kick is “making big business moves” after soaring in popularity this year. 2023 has seen the streaming platform sign numerous big names in the entertainment industry, from xQc to Tyga. Kick even offered a partnership to Twitch’s CEO, Dan Clancy, after his own platform didn’t give him one. Now, another channel has made the switch and signed with Kick in a shocking twist that has evoked a variety of reactions. And that channel is none other than the NELK Boys. The NELK Boys found fame on YouTube by playing pranks on unsuspecting members of the public. Their channel boasts 8 million subscribers but the group has had its fair share of controversy over the years, having had multiple run-ins with the law. While the NELK Boys also have a Twitch channel, they have yet to reach 1 million subscribers there and it seems their focus has now switched to Kick instead. Details of the partnership have yet to be revealed, though this didn’t stop fans from gushing about their excitement over the news. One person wrote, “This is the most exciting thing in my opinion! Only because I f****** love these guys and their content.” But not all were thrilled over Kick’s latest signing. “It’s done, we’re singing a group of people with under 1 [million] followers to Kick. Yo Twitch, we coming back,” one claimed. Another said, “Yay. More disappointing creators to make Kick look like a laughing stock. Good job.” Despite those calling the deal “disgusting” and NELK Boys “trash”, it doesn’t look like Kick will be canceling the partnership just yet. • Kick streamers ignore rules & risk bans with movie marathons streams – Dexerto

Kick streamers ignore rules & risk bans with movie marathons streams Kick/Warner Bros.Hundreds of Kick streamers are already risking bans on the new platform by streaming movie marathons, including the likes of Harry Potter, Transformers, and more, ignoring Kick’s copyright rules outlined in the community guidelines. In the past, many streamers on Twitch have faced bans from the platform for violating copyright rules like this, although there are also occasional Watch Party streams that are approved through Amazon Prime. With the rise of Kick, backed by popular Twitch star Trainwreck and offering a higher revenue split from subs than Twitch does, many have gone over there to bend the rules and film content that typically wouldn’t be allowed, especially as it’s not completely moderated in its infancy. For example, one streamer faced a temporary ban from the platform after he filmed himself and a partner during an intimate moment. Now, a number of users are risking bans by simply livestreaming film marathons, with creators putting up 24-hour livestreams to broadcast each of the Harry Potter films, or like in the screenshot below, Alien vs Predator, for example. While there are still some questions from creators over what they can and can’t get away with on-stream, this is a clear violation of the Kick community guidelines. Said guidelines state that “You must not transmit, publicly perform, publicly display, or reproduce copyrighted material of others unless your actions are authorized by the law or the copyright holders. Copyright infringement on Kick is strictly prohibited.” A list of potentially violating content is also provided on the Kick website, including, but not limited to: Anything harmful, deceptive, offensive, or illegal. – Movies – TV shows and/or TV channels – Sports matches – Of course, the bigger issue for Kick won’t be moderating this content and trying to weed it out, but making sure the law firms backing some of Hollywood’s biggest studios don’t get there first.

  • Kick streamers jailed and released in Nepal after offer to marry 15-year-old girl – Dexerto

Kick streamers jailed and released in Nepal after offer to marry 15-year-old girl Kick: HFKTVTwo livestreamers, known as Suspendas and Slightly Homeless, have been arrested and held by police in Nepal. It is believed that they have been charged after speaking to girls as young as 15 and asking one to marry them. A number of Kick streamers, also including Ice Poseidon, are currently in Nepal, streaming IRL content. On May 18, Suspendas and Slightly Homeless spoke to two women while streaming. The girls said they were in grade 10 at school, meaning aged between 15 and 16 years old. The clip was shared on the r/Nepal subreddit, with the poster asking people to share the video with the police. Later on in the stream, police could be seen arriving before the camera was cut off. Ice Posedion then received a text from Suspendas, saying that they had been picked up by the police and were being “taken somewhere.” Suspendas and Slightly Homeless arrested, then released Once held in a Nepalese jail, a woman who claimed to be from the US Embassy arrived and began to discuss the situation with the two streamers, giving them their options. She said that the police had arrested them after seeing footage of SlightlyHomeless “rapping about inappropriate things” and offering to marry a girl who was underage. Homeless admitted: “I was rapping, I said some things I probably shouldn’t have said.” The US Embassy official recommended that the pair seek legal advice from a set of available attorneys. They also advised that at the most extreme, they could have faced up to ten years in prison. An officer advised another streamer who visited the prison that it was likely they would be deported. Another Kick streamer, TheRealMoisesB, said that Homeless was set to be deported after calling his parents, and was in tears. Meanwhile, Suspendas was predicted to spend up to 60 days in the Nepalese prison, according to Moises. However, on a call with Ice Poseidon, Suspendas confirmed that he and the other content creators had all been freed, and that “the whole thing was a big misunderstanding, I guess.” “Some f*cking bullsh*t happened, but I’m not guilty of anything.” Suspendas has previously found himself mired in controversy on Kick, when he was accused of engaging in intercourse in front of a child, sexually assaulting a woman on stream, and for shouting at Japanese people on a train.

  • Kick streamer who harassed Japanese locals punched by a stranger again – Dexerto

Kick streamer who harassed Japanese locals punched by a stranger again Kick/johnnysomaliControversial Kick streamer Johnny Somali, known for harassing locals in Japan, has been confronted on-stream again, and this time, things got violent. Johnny Somali is a divisive streamer on Kick who received a heap of criticism after his inflammatory behavior toward locals in Japan, where he made racist remarks toward passengers on a train — specifically, threatening to repeat Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Since then, the Kick streamer has been confronted several times by members of the public who were fed up with his behavior. While he was still in Japan, several strangers tried to hit him on-stream, and even when he returned to America, there were still people unhappy with how he behaved. Kick streamer Johnny Somali attacked over harassment in Japan In the latest incident, caught live on Johnny’s stream, a group of people can be seen approaching the streamer, when one of them mentions what he did in Japan. Despite the people around them trying to de-escalate tensions between the two people, the person calling Johnny out came back to threaten him, saying: “You ain’t gonna kill nobody. I will absolutely smack the sh*t out of you.” He then hits the streamer around the side of the head before backing off, at which point Johnny and his group chase after him. The remarks Johnny keeps being called out for were made in May earlier this year, when he harassed members of the public on a Japanese train. He started shouting at other passengers about how he would “do Hiroshima and Nagasaki again.” “You know Hiroshima, Nagasaki? Why did you do Pearl Harbour? You know what we do to you. We destroy, because you don’t know how to behave. We will do it again, you understand? The streamer has since claimed that he was drunk when he made those comments. Kick streamer’s chat instantly exposes questionable Twitter bookmarks to girlfriend Kick: cuffemKick streamer ‘cuffem’ got his relationship rocked after his chat instantly exposed him to his girlfriend when he accidentally showed off his questionable bookmarks on Twitter. Live streams are some of the best entertainment the internet has to offer. Since they’re broadcasted in real time, viewers are watching everything unfold right when it happens… and sometimes, this can result in popcorn-worthy drama. From fights breaking out in fast food restaurants to streamers catching police enacting justice at just the right time, live streaming offers a seemingly never-ending amount of amusement. But sometimes, these broadcasts can rival the most popular reality TV series. Such a moment happened when prominent Kick streamer ‘cuffem’ went live over the weekend in early June — and it sent his love life into a nosedive. Cuffem’s Kick chat exposes his Twitter history to girlfriend Cuffem was live on Kick when he accidentally showed viewers his bookmarks on Twitter. For those out of the loop, users can bookmark posts on Twitter to save them for later… and in this case, cuffem’s bookmarks weren’t exactly wholesome material. Shocked that he’d accidentally shown explicit material on stream, he quickly navigated back to another page, but the damage was already done. Just a short while later, his girlfriend approached him during the stream, saying that she was getting DMs from people telling her “creepy stuff” — and eventually, exposing her boyfriend’s Twitter bookmarks. At first, cuffem tried to save face, acting like he had no idea what she was talking about and even arguing that he “doesn’t even bookmark sh*t on Twitter.” “Then why is this May 15, and it’s ***?” she asked. “Boy, get the f*ck out of here.” In another attempt to rectify the situation, cuffem asked his girlfriend to come over and look at his bookmarks for herself — but she accused him of deleting them, leading to an argument between the two that played out for his thousands of followers. This is far from the first time a streamer has gotten “exposed” for giving their partner the runaround; in 2022, banned Twitch streamer IShowSpeed got an earful from his girlfriend who called him out for purportedly ‘cheating’ on her in a viral broadcast.

  • Kick streamer uses Jiu-Jitsu to fend off attacker mid-interview – Dexerto

Kick streamer uses Jiu-Jitsu to fend off attacker mid-interview Kick: TheOsideLocosA Kick streamer proved their not one to be trifled with after getting attacked during an interview only to quickly counter with Jiu-Jitsu. IRL Kick streamer ‘The Oside Locos‘ focuses his content on inviting strangers into interviews and “Diving into the waves of trivia, dating, and daring questions.” On X (formerly Twitter), he implores viewers to join him on an exploration of “the unexpectedly and unfiltered” — and unexpected is certainly what he got. While conducting an interview in public, Oside Locos was attacked. However, he was able to pull a quick Jiu-Jitsu move to subdue the assailant and take control of the situation. Oside Locos was asking questions to those enjoying their night out when he seemingly befriended a couple, going so far as having his arm around the man’s shoulders. Things took a turn though when Oside Locos asked the girlfriend about the tattoo on her stomach, mistakenly calling it a “tramp stamp.” Her boyfriend did not take kindly to this, discarding any previous camaraderie and tackling Oside Locos onto the street. Despite his girlfriend asking him to stop and telling him it “wasn’t that serious,” the boyfriend continued to throw punches. That is until Oside Locos used a heel hook to turn the tables, submitting his attacker and ordering him to “chill” to diffuse the situation. A heel hook is a common grappling hold in Jiu-Jitsu that can tear a person’s knee — mainly their ACL — proving it to be a devastating submission. Viewers praised Oside Locos’ use of the heel hook and his ability to regain control, with one person writing on Reddit, “He could have torn that knee to shreds if he cranked the heel hook. Showed a lot of restraint.” Another said, “Damn pretty good execution and restraint in response to being randomly assaulted.”

  • Kick streamer who harassed Japanese locals confronted by American: “I got a problem with you” – Dexerto

Kick streamer who harassed Japanese locals confronted by American: “I got a problem with you” Kick: johnnysomaliControversial Kick streamer Johnny Somali, known for harassing locals in Japan, got confronted by an American who was fed up with his behavior. Johnny Somali is a divisive streamer on Kick who has sparked a storm of outrage online due to his inflammatory behavior toward locals in Japan, where he’s currently staying. Somali’s actions made their way into the spotlight earlier this year after viewers witnessed him making racist remarks toward passengers on a train — specifically, making mention of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Somali has continued this behavior well into the summer, but his comments haven’t gone unchecked. The streamer has been confronted numerous times by outraged locals, a few of whom have gotten physical with the broadcaster during his IRL streams. Kick streamer Johnny Somali confronted by American after harassing Japanese locals Now, another person has confronted Johnny Somali — and he made it clear that he wasn’t pleased with the streamer’s actions in a clip that’s going viral online. In the clip, a foreigner — presumably American — walked up to Johnny Somali, holding up a smartphone showing a photo of the streamer. “Is this you?” he asked. After Somali confirmed that it was him, the American said: “I gotta problem with you, bro.” “I’m a troll!” Somali explained. “My wife is Japanese,” the American continued. “You go there and insult people like that. Do you know how many people died from Hiroshima, and you’re joking about that sh*t?” Somali went on to claim that he was drunk while making those remarks and said that he’d apologized — but the American wasn’t having any of it. “All these families suffered, people suffered because of that. You’re on the train harassing people like that… don’t do it again, bro. I’ve seen how people in Tokyo whoop your a**. You’re lucky I don’t do the same.” “Is that a threat?” Somali asked. “It is, yes,” the man replied. “Because you go around harassing people like that — innocent people who didn’t do anything, Japanese people… and you’re out here f*cking with them like that. For what, bro? For a little bit of clout? It’s pathetic.” Somali then asked what he was “supposed to do about it now,” to which the American responded, “don’t do it again.” The confrontation ended shortly thereafter, with the two men exchanging a handshake. Netizens have praised the American for confronting Johnny Somali, with many commenters hopeful that this will spark a change in the streamer’s behavior. On the other side of this issue, several IRL streamers have been victims of racist attacks themselves, with the most recent instance of this behavior taking place when Thai steamer ‘ppim’ was subjected to racist remarks while traveling in Brussels.

  • Kick streamer under fire after kicking cat out of bed during broadcast – Dexerto

Kick streamer under fire after kicking cat out of bed during broadcast YouTube: suspendasA controversial Kick streamer by the name ‘Suspendas’ is facing backlash online after kicking his pet cat out of his bed during a ‘sleep stream.’ (Content warning: This article discusses distressing events. Reader discretion is advised.) Animals can be a heartwarming part of any live stream… but viewers were left outraged after one broadcaster booted their pet out of their bed during a recent stream. The incident took place during a July 19 stream on Kick when a user named ‘Suspendas’ decided to lay down for a ‘sleep stream.’ Sleep streams are exactly what they sound like. They broadcast someone sleeping — sometimes to the tune of tens of thousands of dollars. Kick streamer incites outrage after kicking cat out of bed Instead of money, though, it seems as though the only thing Suspendas managed to rake in during his sleep stream was outrage. The broadcaster wasn’t yet asleep when his pet cat hopped on his bed, appearing to want to cuddle with its owner. Suspendas wasn’t having it though, and literally kicked the animal off his bed when it tried to walk over his body. Users on social media were outraged over the incident, with many angry viewers taking to Twitter to call out the streamer for potentially harming his cat. “Isn’t this animal abuse?” one user wrote. “Kick allows this?” “Poor kitty,” another wrote. “Once again, Suspendas proves what an a**hole he is.” Viewers on the Livestream Fails subreddit echoed similar sentiments, with one user saying he was “awake and angry, and took it out on the cat.” Thus far, it doesn’t seem as though Suspendas has offered a response to the outrage against him online — but this isn’t the first time the streamer has come under fire. In April, he was accused of allegedly having sex on stream while the child of his partner was in the same room. He isn’t the only creator to face backlash over his treatment of animals, either. In 2019, YouTuber Brooke Houts came under fire from all sides after uploading footage of herself hitting and spitting on her pet dog, although she was allowed to keep the animal following an investigation by the LAPD.

  • Kick streamer under fire as friend breaks elderly Uber driver’s phone during argument – Dexerto

Kick streamer under fire as friend breaks elderly Uber driver’s phone during argument Kick: XenathewitchKick streamer ‘Xenathewitch’ got into a heated argument with their Uber driver, and their buddy decided to get revenge by breaking the driver’s phone. It’s no secret that live streams can get pretty chaotic from time to time. In the last week alone, one streamer got banned for putting metal forks in toasters, while another streamer’s battery pack burst into flames in the middle of their broadcast. However, the latest chaos to unfold during a stream is making some viewers raise their eyebrows after one broadcaster took matters into her own hands. Xenathewitch is a streamer on Kick with over 16K followers, who recently came under fire for an incident that occurred during one of her broadcasts. Kick streamer under fire after friend breaks Uber driver’s phone On January 22, Xena was catching an Uber with a friend they’d recently made at a club. Things were a bit sketchy right off the bat. While picking them up, their driver parked in the middle of the road, causing a close call with a truck trying to drive past them. While clips from the above incident are available on Xena’s Kick channel, the rest of the VOD from their drive isn’t listed on her profile. However, a clip circling social media shows the streamer getting into an apparent argument with the driver. During the altercation, their friend, who is filming the incident, snatches the man’s phone and throws it onto the pavement, later admitting to it in the same clip. The video has gone viral online as netizens chime in with criticism toward the streamer and her camerawoman, but Xena clarified the ordeal in a post on her Discord server. According to Xena, the driver’s behavior on the road was extremely unsafe. The streamer claimed that, while driving, the man “parked the car in the middle of the highway” and even “snatched” her phone out of her hands, saying they had different Uber apps and arguing that her destination wasn’t the same as what was displayed on his phone. That’s not all; the driver allegedly claimed that “if we don’t tell him where we were going, we can walk” — causing a heated argument between him, Xena, and her friend. Xena said that he got “aggressive” and “wanted to swing the door” open. “I informed him that if he touches me, I will tase him,” she wrote. “No grown-ass man is allowed to grab me. At all.” “Bro was not some innocent driver. I have five stars on my Uber for a reason.” In a post on her Twitter/X account, Xena further clarified that she was “not even aware” that her friend had trashed the man’s phone, saying she was distracted by trying to cancel the ride. “When she admitted it again I told her I’m leaving, ’cause I didn’t commit a crime and I’m not gonna stick around for cops when that’s their drama,” she explained. For now, it looks like Xena is sticking to her side of the story… but many commenters are still airing their grievances against her over the incident in spite of her claims to the contrary.

  • Kick streamer terrified after monkey chases him during IRL stream – Dexerto

Kick streamer terrified after monkey chases him during IRL stream A Kick streamer was left stunned and terrified after being chased by a monkey during an IRL stream in India. IRL streams have become increasingly popular over the last couple of years. Whether it be vloggers traveling all around the world documenting their adventures, or even a big streamer doing the occasional IRL broadcast, they’re certainly entertaining to watch. Although, while they’re amusing for viewers sitting at home, they can certainly be dangerous for the creator. Throughout the years, we’ve seen some very close calls, with streamers finding themselves in bizarre or sometimes outright terrifying situations. In this case, streamer Slightlyhomeless had to make a quick getaway as he began getting chased by a monkey while wandering the streets of India. Kick streamer horrified after being chased by monkey While exploring India, YouTuber and Kick streamer Slightlyhomeless encountered a monkey during his April 30 broadcast. The IRL streamer slowly began approaching the animal for a better look, before having to quickly dash away as it began chasing after him. “Oh my, it’s chasing me,” the streamer screamed. “The monkey’s chasing me, bro, get the f**k away from me what the f**k.” Thankfully, the monkey backed off after a couple of seconds and stopped pursuing him, although it’s fair to say the situation took the streamer’s breath away. Clearly shocked and a bit terrified, he said: “The f**k? Holy sh*t, holy f**k, the f**king monkey chased me,” while also gasping for a bit of air. It certainly isn’t the first time we’ve seen a streamer being chased, and it likely won’t be the last either. Although, typically, it isn’t animals chasing after them, but rather random passer-bys on the street.

  • Kick streamer threatens to kill Hasan amid Adin Ross copyright drama – Dexerto

Kick streamer threatens to kill Hasan amid Adin Ross copyright drama Twitter: Cuffem/YouTube: HasanabiKick streamer Cuffem threatened to “kill” Twitch star Hasan during a recent stream as the drama between Hasan and Adin Ross continues to swirl. On April 30, news broke that Adin Ross had celebrated the fact that he issued “false copyright strikes” to various YouTubers who had used his likeness in a video. Twitch star Hasan was one of the affected creators, and he quickly hit back at Adin Ross’ celebration in a post on Twitter, claiming he was “hitting new levels of stupidity I never knew were reachable.” Now, Kick streamer Cuffem has threatened to “kill” Hasan during a recent stream as the feud between Adin and Hasan continues. Cuffem threatens to kill Hasan during stream During a recent stream on his Kick channel, Cuffem was listening to YoungBoy’s song ‘Never Broke Again’ when he called out the Twitch star. “Play with me, Hasan. We gonna go to war. I swear to god. We gonna purge your ass, Hasan. We gonna kill you, boy,” he said. Cuffem has shown his support for Adin Ross quite a bit in the past, leading people to believe his threat to Hasan has to do with his recent words for Adin after getting a “false copyright” strike. Many are arguing in support of Adin’s ability to copyright strike videos showing clips of himself, with some saying he has the right to do so on the platform. According to the US Copyright Office, it is permissible to use limited portions of a work including quotes, for purposes such as commentary, criticism, news reporting, and scholarly reports. A prime example of this would be Hasan reacting to a clip of Adin’s stream in a video. Hasan has yet to respond to the threats from Cuffem, but we’ll be sure to update you if he does. In the meantime, head over to our entertainment section for more news and other viral stories.

Kick streamer stuns viewers by filming blatant drug use while live Kick: hstikkytokky / Instagram: hstikkytokkyA Kick streamer made the bizarre decision to live stream blatant drug use to an audience of 16,000 viewers, leaving many in shock. 21-year-old Harrison ‘hstikkytokky’ Sullivan is a British fitness influencer with over 650,000 followers on Instagram. He is best known for selling diet and workout plans and sharing his day-to-day life with viewers. Sullivan also frequently streams on Kick, where he seemingly doesn’t shy away from showcasing various instances of drug use. Most recently, Sullivan discussed “not doing gear” during a live broadcast while his friend was seen participating in drug use behind him. “I do want to do gear but I’m not doing it,” Sullivan can be heard saying as he gets into the backseat of a car. “I’m not doing gear again because I promised my mate.” Sullivan also points out that his friend, fellow influencer Ed Matthews, beside him has “got gear”, ensuring there is no confusion as to what exactly is taking place. Matthews is a TikToker and YouTuber, heavily involved in influencer boxing. Matthews can then be seen sniffing white powder in the background while Sullivan buckles down on his statement, assuring viewers that he is staying clear of the drug. While gear is slang commonly referring to heroin or methamphetamines, it is believed Sullivan used the term to describe cocaine. The clip was shared on Reddit, with many expressing their surprise that the streamer had not been banned by Kick for his blatant showcasing of drug use. One viewer jokingly said, “‘Cocaine can help with reducing bleeding in the nasal cavities’ – [Kick’s] explanation why no ban.” Others questioned whether Sullivan was telling the truth about steering clear from drugs, pointing out his odd mannerisms during the live stream. “‘I’m not doing gear’ he repeats 10x while tensing his jaw, he’s definitely on it,” one person said. As of now, Sullivan’s account is still active and he has yet to receive any repercussions from the platform. For all the latest entertainment news, be sure to check out our page here.

Clips of the moment are circulating online. “Chat, I couldn’t hold out,” the streamer can be heard saying, addressing his viewers directly after the act. It’s probably not the kid’s first time that this is happening,” the streamer said. At the time of writing, Suspendas is yet to address the incident publicly. Similarly, Kick, the budding streaming platform, is also yet to comment on the situation or issue any punishment. Suspendas still has an active platform on the account with over 15,000 followers. Of note, this is not the first time Suspendas has come under fire for his actions while live. Previously, Suspendas was under fire for reportedly sexually assaulting a woman on stream. Are you going to allow this Sam Pepper guy to like, keep streaming?” Sam then claimed that “he 100% frantically messaged the mods” in an effort to have his account shadowbanned.

  • Kick streamer stalked and robbed during IRL stream – Dexerto

Kick streamer stalked and robbed during IRL stream Kick / KangJoelA woman was seen stalking a Kick streamer during an IRL stream in South Africa as the stranger ended up stealing from him and trying to run away before being apprehended. Streamers broadcasting themselves IRL has become one of the largest trends over the past few years, which has propelled some creators to the top of streaming platforms. Typically the live streams have involved them sharing their day-to-day lives, whether it involves completing their normal daily tasks or travelling around the world. However, similar to a person’s normal life, it has brought along many dangers. The most common have been thieves, who have been pickpocketing or more obviously stealing the creator’s belongings. Now, one Kick streamer was stalked during an IRL stream in South Africa and later had an item of his stolen. Woman followed IRL Kick streamer and took his belongings During the stream, the IRL creator KangJoel was seen adventuring around the streets in South Africa. A stranger soon approached him and started asking him and the others in the group with him for money. Even though they constantly said “no” and told her to “go away,” she proceeded to follow them for over an hour. Eventually, they tried to leave in a car, yet she proceeded to enter the vehicle and sit down next to him. “Please I’m begging,” she said, as the driver responded “No! Get out of my car.” She then fled out of the car, but not before stealing his tripod, leading the driver and the streamer’s friends to chase after her. After they apprehended her, she could be heard saying: “What is wrong with you! Leave me alone!” The group eventually managed to get away and drove off leaving the tripod behind with the thief, as it had apparently “broken” during the altercation. At the time of writing, there has been no further update on the situation and KangJoel has returned to IRL streaming on Kick.

  • Kick streamer stuns Only Up players with insane 30 second speedrun – Dexerto

Kick streamer stuns Only Up players with insane 30 second speedrun SCKR GamesA Kick streamer left his viewers speechless after he beat viral game Only Up in just over 30 seconds, while other streamers have been raging at it for hours trying to reach the very top. In recent weeks, many top streamers are grinding out Only Up, a game that’s about as simple as it gets: keep climbing upwards until you reach into space and the end of the game. Except, it’s not actually anywhere near that simple in practice. Players can spend hours climbing up through the world before falling and finding themselves having lost hours of progress. Only Up can be one of the most demoralizing games to play because of how punishing it is. Yet with the help of a newly discovered glitch, all of that pain can be avoided entirely. Only Up completed in 33 seconds using crazy Trash glitch Kick streamer and content creator ShadeYT has stunned fans after setting a world record after finishing Only up in just 33 seconds. This incredible feat was accomplished on June 27 by taking advantage of the Trash Glitch where players can roll onto the trash can near the start. Hitting it at the correct angle and at the right time will launch you directly up at an incredible speed. Responding to Shade’s original record one player put: “Omg I just sat there for 10 hours and you do it in 42 seconds,” to which Shade replied saying: “I just beat it in 33 seconds if that helps or makes it worse.” Another thoroughly impressed viewer replied: “That was so sick to watch haha good sh*t.” One player pointed out that this may not be a legitimate world record, claiming: “This is ground skipping it doesn’t count towards a WR and will not be verified.” However, this isn’t true as the run has already been verified in the Unrestricted category of Only Up where anything goes. Shade’s time of 33 seconds is ahead of XeLiquid’s run set on June 26 which took 39 seconds. With the Trash Glitch becoming increasingly popular more runs that utilize will follow. It’s very possible that Shade’s record will be broken in the near future by either himself or another speedrunner.

  • Kick streamer robbed during IRL delivery stream – Dexerto

Kick streamer robbed during IRL delivery stream Unsplash.com: Bastian PudillA Kick streamer’s phone was stolen right in the middle of his delivery run during a live broadcast, leaving viewers shocked. Live streams are known for capturing the occasional wild moment in real-time — but some of these moments are more shocking than others. In fact, several streamers have caught legitimate crimes happening during their broadcasts. From broadcasters witnessing terrifying purse-snatchings to even getting threatened with a knife, it’s almost unsurprising when moments like these happen on stream these days. Now, yet another crime has been caught by a live streamer — one who was the victim of a robbery that happened while he was working. Kick streamer’s phone stolen during delivery run Kick streamer RayInTheCity is both a broadcaster and a delivery driver, who was in the middle of a delivery run in early December when he left his vehicle parked on the side of the street to take an order to a customer. He left his phone in his car to broadcast from the cab while he did his job — and while he was away, an opportunistic thief saw their time to strike. In a clip taken from Ray’s stream, viewers can hear the loud noise of a window breaking as the phone tumbles down from where it was sitting in the car. After that, the stream ended, but it’s clear what happened. The thief broke the window of Ray’s car and stole the phone he was using to stream. Although Ray hasn’t provided many updates after the situation was captured during his stream, he did make a post on Twitter/X sharing the clip, writing, “What a sh*t day. Thanks for your inconvenience, losers.” Ray is far from the first streamer to get their phone stolen during a live broadcast. In fact, a slew of streamers have had their phones snatched, including one woman who was streaming on the beach when a thief took her phone right out of her hand.

  • Kick streamer slammed for stealing from tip jar to pay for food order – Dexerto

Kick streamer slammed for stealing from tip jar to pay for food order Kick: sweatergxdA Kick streamer faced backlash from his viewers after brazenly taking cash from a tip jar, and then using the stolen money to pay for his food order at the same establishment. IRL and slots streamer on Kick, ‘sweatergxd’ was streaming while out with friends on Sunday, October 15, when he stopped by a local food spot. While waiting to be served, and in full view of his watching audience, he reached into a glass jar of tips on the counter, and lifted out a handful of notes. The closest staff member didn’t see the theft, and came out to serve the streamer, totally unaware that the cash he was about to hand over was actually tips for her and her colleagues. Indeed, sweatergxd used the stolen cash, as well as paying for the rest of his order by card. Viewers were dumbfounded and called him out in the chat. “You’re on camera idiot,” one viewer said. “You’re f**ked for that,” another commented. Others left comments like “you’re so weird” and asked “what’s wrong with you?” Some viewers seemed to find the situation funny, but the overwhelming response was negative. After walking away to get his drink, sweatergxd asked his chat, “am I weird for that?” Lots of viewers told him to tip himself to make up for the lost cash, but the streamer left soon after without tipping. Kick, still a relatively nascent streaming platform, has been taking steps to improve moderation. This includes adding a report button on all channels as of October 6. However, the platform still faces criticism for lax moderation, with streamers supposedly more likely to get away with questionable behavior without a suspension, according to the site’s critics.

  • Kick streamer reveals “life changing” money they’ve made already since leaving Twitch – Dexerto

Kick streamer reveals “life changing” money they’ve made already since leaving Twitch Unsplash/KickA Kick streamer has revealed the “life-changing” amount of money he’s made already since making the switch from Twitch, noting just how long it would take him to make the same amount over there. Over the last few years, several livestreaming platforms have challenged Twitch’s dominance as the biggest website out there. Though, some, such as YouTube, have lasted longer than the likes of Mixer and actually put up a respectable fight even if they haven’t made too many inroads. While Twitch remains the biggest platform out there, it is facing a challenge from the upstart, Stake-backed platform of Kick, as a number of streamers have already made the jump over there. Some creators are even splitting time between both with “non-exclusive” deals. Kick is offering streamers a much larger split in sub revenue – with streamers getting 95% on Kick compared to only 50% on Twitch. Former Twitch streamer reveals just how much they’ve made on Kick already That massive difference was highlighted by former Twitch streamer Ac7ionMann, as he revealed the “life-changing” amount of money that he’d made in his time on Kick. “Shout out @Trainwreckstv and @KickStreaming for making the payments process smooth,” he said, showing off his payment of $38,000 from Kick. “You would need 16k subs on Twitch for this. This is around 7k subs on Kick. “This is literally life-changing,” the streamer added, urging others to follow him in making the switch in platforms as well. Plenty of commenters congratulated the streamer on his success, but a few did question if he did have a headstart given he had around 700k followers on Twitch previously. The discoverability for new streamers – especially through Clips – is something Trainwreck has bigged up as another advantage over Twitch. Though, we’ll just have to see if that continues on in a similar fashion to this.

Kick streamer robbed by ‘prostitute’ who then pulls a gun on him before fleeing Kick: sweatergxdKick streamer sweatergxd had a set of gift cards stolen by a woman he believed was a prostitute as he drove around Los Angeles. After being robbed, he drove off after apparently spotting a firearm on the woman. Driving around LA at night, sweatergxd, a popular Kick streamer, had over 4,000 viewers as he approached women on the street, attempting to pick them up. He explained later in the stream that his goal was to see if any women would accept the gift cards without checking if there was any balance on them, and “if they let me f**k, imma f**k.” However, this plan certainly did not go as intended, as one woman he approached began checking the cards before swiftly swiping them from his hand and walking away. Streamer Sweatergxd robbed live on Kick When sweatergxd asked the woman if she was going to snatch the cards simply, she said no, before promptly doing just that. As she took the cards and calmly walked away, she said “motherf**ker.” Sweatergxd appeared stunned momentarily, before taking off his seatbelt and opening the door. But, he very quickly stepped back inside and drove off, after spotting what he thought was a weapon. “Wait nah she has a gun,” he commented. After being robbed of the gift cards, sweatergxd continued to drive around, pulling over at another two women also on the street, who claimed to be prostitutes. He explained that he had been given gift cards to him for Christmas, but the women wanted to verify the balance on them. When unable to do so, the woman bid him a good night and the streamer drove off. Sweatergxd has also previously faced backlash on Kick after stealing money from a tip jar at a restaurant to pay for his order.

  • Kick streamer N3ON jumped & humiliated by thieves in wild video – Dexerto

Kick streamer N3ON jumped & humiliated by thieves in wild video Twitter: N3onOnYTProminent Kick streamer N3ON was assaulted and humiliated by thieves who stole his phone and shoes in a clip that’s taking social media by storm. N3ON is a popular streamer on Kick, who currently boasts nearly half a million followers on the broadcasting platform. The streamer is known for making divisive comments, as seen when he insulted fellow influencer Ali C Lopez regarding her weight during a viral broadcast with Adin Ross and Sneako back in May. N3ON’s comments caught the internet’s attention and sparked quite the debate — but now, he’s in the spotlight once again for a totally different reason. Kick streamer N3ON attacked by thieves in viral video On August 2, a video was posted to N3ON’s Twitter account showing himself being pushed around by a group of supposed thieves. In the video, the thieves bragged that they had stolen N3ON’s shoes and pointed out that the neckline of his shirt had been drastically torn. “Aye, look whose shoes we got?” one of the thieves said, whose face was covered with a bandana. “We caught his ass lacking! Come on, bro.” “You know not to come around here talking like that,” he added, as his mates continued to roast the streamer for his “horrible” shirt that’d been torn up. The group went on to further clown N3ON, with one masked thief posing with him and even taking his glasses to try them on for himself. They bragged that they had stolen his phone before making the streamer say he was a “b*tch.” That’s where the clip ends — but the legitimacy of the situation is up in the air, as the video first appeared on N3ON’s own account. It’s unclear if this was the doing of the alleged thieves or not, leaving some netizens unsure if the whole thing was actually real; but this wouldn’t be the first time a streamer was shaken down. In 2022, a Russian streamer’s phone was snatched right out of her hand as she was broadcasting on the beach.

N3on also often collaborates with various streamers, including controversial stars like Sneako and Adin Ross. According to a tweet, he was apparently due to stream with fellow HSTikkyTokky on November 1, but canceled last minute. HSTikkyTokky went on to accuse N3on’s girlfriend Sam Frank of being the reason behind the cancelation. HSTikkyTokky wrote on X: “Was meant to stream with Neon today. Then last minute he cancelled. Strange, Sam manipulating him again? btw about to go live just setting shit up.” N3on soon replied with his own tweet, which read: “Please have some respect. If u f**k with me u will let me do what makes me happy. She genuinely makes me happy and keeps me going. “Please let me live my life. I love y’all fr and appreciate y’all for caring about me so much. Best community in the world.” Adin Ross accuses N3on’s girlfriend of cheating This is not the first time other streamers have made accusations about N3on’s girlfriend. In a stream on October 30, Adin Ross accused Sam of cheating on N3on, despite Sam claiming she’s celibate. Talking about an event that happened during Twitchcon on September 29, Ross was watching a stream from the day when he suddenly said: “This night, chat, and I want motherf**kers to put it on god. “I want people to really put it on god and tell me that she did not fly a guy out – she did not fly a guy out that night, in her hotel room, and sleep with him and f**k. You had the audacity to eat breakfast with him, in front of everybody, and put it on somebody’s tab! Yes, chat! Yes!” It’s unknown why the two started beefing with one another, however, Ross’ accusations was serious enough that Ricegum, another creator, asked N3on about it at TwitchCon. Ricegum said he and N3on went out to dinner to ask if he was feuding with Ross, which N3on denied. “He’s not talking to me right now,” N3on said. “He told me that I need to go home and ground myself and he’s right.”

Kick streamer Johnny Somali vows to stop streaming as Japan court seeks ¥200K fine Kick/johnnysomaliKick streamer Johnny Somali denied some of the charges against him in Japanese court after making his first trial appearance. Infamous streamer Johnny Somali made international headlines with controversial Kick broadcasts from Japan, where he’d harass locals and even confront other streamers. His antics finally caught up with him in September when Somali was arrested for allegedly trespassing on a construction site and was even arrested again for disrupting a restaurant by entering the kitchen and playing loud music. On December 19, Somali appeared in court, but disputed some of the charges for forcible obstruction of business. Johnny Somali appears in Japanese court over Kick streams In Osaka District Court, Somali claimed that while he was filming in the restaurant, the audio “came out automatically” when a viewer reacted to the stream and he wasn’t in control. According to Yahoo, in addition to the music, Somali had also made remarks about wanting to drop atomic bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki – comments that are common during his broadcasts. However, as Sankei News reports, the prosecution wasn’t buying it and argued that Somali was “acting arbitrarily because he wanted to please the viewers.” Somali, who had been in custody since his second arrest, requested leniency. “It was an embarrassing act that inconvenienced employees and customers,” he said. “I swear that I will never record or distribute any kind of video in the future.” The prosecution asked for a 200K yen fine, around $1,400 USD, for his actions, and the case was concluded. Charges for allegedly trespassing on a construction site were dropped. Johnny Somali also expressed a desire to return to Japan in the future, but so far, it’s not known if he will be allowed back in the country. The verdict is expected to be handed down on January 10, 2024. For more Kick news, keep it locked to Dexerto.

  • Kick Streamer Johnny Somali fined by Japanese court for restaurant livestream – Dexerto

Kick Streamer Johnny Somali fined by Japanese court for restaurant livestream Kick: Johnny SomaliKick Streamer Johnny Somali is potentially being booted from Japan and will have to pay a ¥200,000 fine for nuisance after live streaming in a restaurant in Dotonbori, Osaka. However, trespassing and intrusion charges were dismissed. Johnny Somali made international headlines last year after his IRL stream antics in Japan led to his arrest. The streamer first came under fire for racist remarks after a video of passengers confronting him about an allegedly drunken rant on a train went viral. Since then, the streamer has only landed in more hot water for his videos, eventually culminating in his arrest by Japanese authorities on charges of trespassing and a formal indictment for obstructing the business of a restaurant in Osaka’s Dotonburi district. Today he was officially sentenced with a ¥200,000 fine for nuisance for his broadcast at the restaurant. Moreover, in light of this felony offense, he will possibly be kicked out of Japan as well. However, charges of trespassing and intrusion against the streamer were dropped. The streamer expressed “remorse” for his actions and pledged “not to shoot or distribute any kind of video in the future.” However, Somali continued to maintain he did not intentionally play audio and the broadcast’s volume was due to viewer interaction and beyond his control. The ruling from the Osaka District Court echoed the prosecution’s sentiments that an “appropriate punishment” was “essential” as a “general deterrence.” “The defendant said that the sound was played automatically,” the Judge noted, “but the volume could have been lowered immediately, and criminal liability cannot be taken lightly.” Japan’s legal system is certainly no stranger to dealing with streamers. Last year a 52-year-old streamer was arrested for streaming a Steins Gate visual novel on YouTube.

Placing a bet of $100,000 on a boxing match between the pair, Ac7ionMann kept getting angrier about the situation and asked Mike to FaceTime him on stream. Once Mike made the call, the streamer went as far as saying “God took your dad cuz you’re a b****“ while still live. While drinking, dancing, smoking, and listening to music, the creator appears to get more upset as the night goes on. At one point the streamer references someone named Alex in the chat for canceling their sub and states “I hope you die in a car accident, so why would you canceling your sub bother me?” Alongside making references aimed at women having an easier time in the world for being female, and saying “You guys ever maybe think I’m not that good of a guy? The video only escalates from here, as the streamer screams into the phone without allowing Mike an opportunity to speak. Mike responded to the conflict on Twitter, sharing a screenshot of their DMs and saying “Nothing like the pedofile @Ac7ionMann making dead dad jokes on stream about my father. There is a reason me and zherka cut you off. Theres a reason you grind 100 hours weekly and have no kick deal. You are alone. Praying for you. You are lost.”

Ice Poseidon’s IRL streams have become massive hits with fans, but his first trip to Bangkok with Deepak and Hyubsama ended in disaster when a lounge party got out of hand. Thailand is known for being a vacation hotspot with beautiful beaches, cheap drinks, great food, and loads of parties, so it came as a shock to Ice Poseidon and his crew when their antics upset the manager of a restaurant they were at. During a June 28 Kick broadcast, Ice Poseidon was dressed in lingerie and began giving a lapdance to girlfriend Kimberly when suddenly, the manager walked in and she was furious. Kick streamer’s lapdance gets him booted from restaurant Right off the bat, the manager began to scold everyone in the lounge, claiming they were “disrespecting” Thai culture. “I would like all of you to go to the police station now for doing something like this and disrespecting Thai culture,” she said. When Ice and the others defended their actions, the manager claimed she saw everything on CCTV footage and warned that the group “cannot do this in Thailand.” The manager went on to demand Ice stop filming and everyone hand over their passports, which the streamers seemed to comply with. Footage from Deepak’s VOD shows that the group was cooperating with the manager while stealthy broadcasting the conversation until the streamer kept getting subscriber notifications, which sent her into a frenzy yet again. On Discord, Ice Poseidon updated fans, explaining that the hotel wouldn’t let the group leave and they were taken into a van. He further requested that someone call his embassy, claiming he has to write an admission of guilt. “Mugshot with pressured admission of guilt and apology,” he wrote. “Guilty of what? No idea. No one telling me what the law was I broke.” According to Ice Poseidon he will need to return to the police station tomorrow for the cops to complete their investigation, but he currently doesn’t have his passport. His representative, however, says that no laws were broken and he has yet to be charged. I’m sorry. We were drunk, we were in a room. I just didn’t understand the severity of what I’ve done.” Ice Poseidon claims “horrible things” were done to him during Thailand arrest That’s not all; Ice also provided several other updates to fans via his Discord channel, where he claimed that his girlfriend, Kimberly, was assaulted while he was detained by non-police. He also claimed he has “evidence of the other side doing horrible things to be in a vulnerable state.” Ice also stated that he’s being accused of “distributing ****” as he was streaming with his shirt off during the ordeal. Additionally, the streamer said that Kimberly is “actually facing the most heat,” claiming that authorities deemed that her dress was “showing too much breast” and that it was “too sexual for the public.” We’ll have to wait and see what happens and if Ice Poseidon ends up being forced to leave Thailand much earlier than expected.

  • Kick streamer imposes religion on kids in Fortnite after being permabanned on Twitch – Dexerto

Kick streamer imposes religion on kids in Fortnite after being permabanned on Twitch Twitch: DrWitnesser / YouTube: DrWitnesserWell-known Christian streamer DrWitnesser has been called out for purposely matching with children on Fortnite in order to discuss religion with them. ‘DrWitnesser’ isn’t new to making headlines. In his bid to “bring the gospel to gamers”, DrWitnesser received a 7-day suspension from Twitch in 2020, after telling a muslin-child that he would be “sentenced to hell”. The self-proclaimed “esports missionary” was eventually permabanned from the platform for ‘hateful conduct’. Undeterred, DrWitnesser has since moved his streaming efforts to Kick while also sharing prerecorded content on YouTube. But it seems the devout Christian is not quite in the clear just yet after being called out for imposing religion on kids in Fortnite. Twitter account ‘kayluckydog’ shared screenshots featuring some of DrWitnesser’s most recent posts, suggesting that Epic Games should “put this guy on a watch list”. “He purposely plays Fortnite in hopes of getting matched up with kids, so he can try to talk to them about Jesus/religion,” Kay claimed in the tweet. “His content is creepy as f*** targeting kids.” While it cannot be confirmed that the streamer goes out of his way to match with kids, it seems Kay isn’t the only one with concerns. Erik, who goes by ‘thecardsharp2’, publicly tweeted at YouTube, asking the platform whether they were ok with this sort of behavior. “I’m a YouTube Premium subscriber and I certainly don’t wanna see videos of kids being targeted and harassed like this,” Erik said in their tweet. YouTube has yet to respond, leaving DrWitnesser to continue uploading videos for the time being. If the platform does choose to pursue any course of punishment for his divisive content, DrWitnesser has been known to threaten legal action for religious discrimination. • Kick streamer freaks out after being kissed by a homeless person – Dexerto

Kick streamer freaks out after being kissed by a homeless person Kick: NataliereynoldsA Kick streamer was left mortified after they were kissed by a homeless person while live on an IRL stream. Streaming can be a pretty tough gig. From the long hours and tough grinds, there’s no guarantee that you’ll even make it big in the streaming world. That’s why streamers need to find their niche on their respective platforms, whether that be a certain game or even streaming IRL. Each category has its ups and downs though, with IRL streams being the most risky of them all. You’ll never quite know what you’ll see when you hop onto an IRL stream. Sometimes it’ll be a streamer strapped to a wall, or sometimes you’ll see things far more bizarre. That’s exactly what happened to one Kick streamer who absolutely lost it after they were kissed by a homeless stranger live on stream. Kick streamer Natalie Reynolds was streaming IRL to their viewers when they came across a homeless person. After their cameraman proposed a promise to them, they said they would only pinky promise the person if they kissed, gesturing to Natalie. Without hesitation, the homeless person dipped in to kiss Natalie right before she could say “what the f***”. Immediately the streamer pulled away and screamed in horror. Walking towards the road and continuously crying in anguish. The streamer continued to cry out, as the cameraman panned over to the homeless person, who pointed their hand up. Natalie, clearly distraught asked, “why did you do that to me?” After the event, Natalie went on to claim that the “bro was a black ops 2 zombie”, expressing her feelings towards the entire encounter.
