Keith Lee teams up with YouTuber to give away $5,000 of shoes TikTok: Keith_Lee125TikTok food critic Keith Lee has teamed up with YouTuber Two Js Kicks and former NFL player Ray Crockett to give away $5,000 worth of shoes to kids. Over the last few weeks, Keith Lee has effectively taken over TikTok with his food review videos. So much, in fact, that he’s gained over 5.2 million followers in the last 30 days. But he’s not just a food critic, Keith is also a successful MMA fighter and sneakerhead. Lee recently teamed up with YouTuber Two Js Kicks and former NFL player Ray Crockett to give away $5,000 worth of shoes to kids at their local store. Keith Lee helped give away $5,000 worth of shoes to kids In a video uploaded on February 5, 2023, Keith revealed he teamed up with Two Js Kicks and Ray Crockett to amass $5,000 to give away at their local store — Urban Necessities. “I’ve been a sneakerhead since I was a kid, I know what it feels like to be in line and want some shoes, and you get inside [to find out] it’s way more expensive than you thought it was and you’re not able to get the shoes that you want,” Keith explained. The TikToker then explained that the money began as $1,000, but quickly grew to five times that amount. Two Js Kicks went on the speaker at the store and announced to his employees that he wanted to cut all the music off from the store — and they needed help to find kids that would benefit from their giveaway. After giving away over $3,000, they found a little kid named Sebastian who suffered from social anxiety just like Keith. Attempting not to choke up, Keith approached the kid and offered him a $1,900 shopping spree. This is just the latest amazing thing Keith has done for other people recently. He’s partnered with MrBeast to give a restaurant $10,000 and has helped boost the popularity of countless struggling restaurants.

Keith Lee offers to fight MrBeast after boxing photos go viral – Dexerto
Keith Lee offers to fight MrBeast after boxing photos go viral TikTok: keith_lee125 / Instagram: mrbeastMMA fighter and TikTok star Keith Lee has offered to be MrBeast’s boxing opponent after the YouTuber posted a photo of his training session with Logan Paul. The influencer-boxing bug is out in full force, with names like Logan Paul and KSI slated to enter the ring on October 14 in a highly-anticipated event. In the midst of all this hype, YouTube king MrBeast posed for a pic alongside Paul in an impromptu training session — and even teased that he might be stepping into the ring, himself. Fans were instantly excited about the possibility of MrBeast taking part in the influencer-boxing trend, and it looks like he may already have an opponent lined up. Keith Lee challenges MrBeast to boxing match On August 22, just a day after MrBeast donned his gloves, mixed martial artist and famous food reviewer Keith Lee presented the YouTuber with an open challenge in case he wants to get serious. Although Lee hasn’t fought in nearly a year, he claims that he’s happy to go up to MrBeast’s current weight. He even posted a few clips of himself training in the octagon as proof of his abilities. “I used to fight at 135 lbs. But right now, I’m about 185 lbs. I’m solid, though. I think MrBeast is about 190 – 200 lbs, so the size discrepancy shouldn’t be that big. If anything, I can bulk up.” That’s not all; Keith also claimed that he’d love to donate their purses to charity, with his portion given to local restaurants — a huge part of his regular content. “If you don’t have an opponent, I’ll be the opponent,” he said. “I haven’t thought about fighting in a long time. I mean no disrespect at all, I just think it’d be a dope, fun, entertaining fight.” This wouldn’t be the first time these two creators have teamed up for a project; in fact, the influencers got together for a restaurant review back in February, gifting the winner a grand prize of $10,000.

Keith Lee ready to review MrBeast’s Feastables, but on three conditions – Dexerto
Keith Lee ready to review MrBeast’s Feastables, but on three conditions Instagram: MrBeast, Keith_Lee125TikTok food reviewer Keith Lee is ready to review Jimmy ‘MrBeast’ Donaldson’s Feastables chocolate bars, but he’s laid out three conditions for the YouTuber and he has to choose just one. Over the last few weeks, TikTok food reviewer Keith Lee has stolen the hearts of many viewers. So many, in fact, that he nearly doubled his following count in December 2022. Keith combines his love for food with his platform to uplift small struggling restaurants, giving them feedback on customer service, food quality, and marketing in his videos. Now MrBeast wants in on the food review action, as he asked in a comment if he could send over some Feastables chocolate. Keith is ready to do it, and he’s laid out three conditions for the YouTuber — but MrBeast only has to choose one. Keith Lee lays out conditions for MrBeast Feastables video review He started the video: “I heard MrBeast was looking for me. Let’s talk about it. Earlier this morning I received this comment from MrBeast. As you can imagine, I was shocked.” Keith explained that he, his wife, and his sister are all fans of the YouTuber and were excited to hear from him. He’s ready to do the review but gave MrBeast three agreements to choose from before it happens. For the first idea, he mentioned that he wants MrBeast to come to Las Vegas to find a struggling locally-owned business and make it an “un-struggling” family-owned business. Next on his list is a bit more simple, Keith wants MrBeast to put his wife into one of his videos. For the final agreement, he gave Donaldson the option to simply share the review video across all his platforms so he could use the exposure to continue doing what he does. MrBeast responded in a comment on the video, posting the shifty eyes emoji to imply his interest in fulfilling one of the agreements. Fans quickly flooded the YouTuber’s replies, asking him to fulfill all three of the conditions put forth by Keith. It’s unknown when or if a collab will happen between the two, but it’s clear that both parties are remotely interested in making it happen.

Keith Lee is one of TikTok’s biggest up and coming stars, boasting over 8 million followers on the video-sharing platform. Lee is best known for his videos reviewing local restaurants. His honest, comedic reviews often rack up millions of views each and sometimes result in the aforementioned establishments getting an increase in customers. On January 3, Lee reviewed some vittles from Frankensons Pizzeria in Las Vegas, Nevada, where he seemed especially impressed with the restaurant’s lemon pepper wings and Italian sub sandwich. Lee claimed that he’d received an email from one of the establishment’s employees, who claimed that they hadn’t been getting many customers and were struggling to pay rent. He later met with the owner, Frank, who claimed that he couldn’t afford to stay open until 1 AM as posted online. Keith Lee food review makes Las Vegas pizzeria go viral At the time of publication, the TikToker’s review has racked up over 30 million views…and Lee isn’t the only one seeing success from the video. According to Lee, Frankensons Pizzeria has seen a huge uptick in followers on TikTok since publishing his review, and has become packed with new customers who claim that Lee’s review brought them to the local spot. “10 to 5 PM, [there was] a line out the door,” Lee said in a follow-up video. “Obviously I knew he was gonna have some business, but I never thought it was gonna be to that magnitude.” In fact, a message posted from Frankensons claimed that they had to shut down early that day due to the overwhelming amount of customers they received in wake of Lee’s review. Days later, customers are still lining up outside the door of Frankensons Pizzeria to get a taste of their garlic knots and peach chutney wings — and the shop owner has made no bones about his gratitude for Lee putting their delicious food on the map in such a big way. This news follows a possible upcoming collaboration between Keith Lee and YouTube star MrBeast, who asked the TikToker to review his line of Feastables chocolate bars…but Lee had three pretty big conditions for him to meet before going all-in.

Keith Lee named TikTok’s 2023 Breakthrough Star thanks to food reviews Instagram: Keith_Lee125Keith Lee has skyrocketed in popularity over the last year thanks to the “Keith Lee effect” where his food review videos have had a profound effect on business for small restaurants. Although his first bit of growth as a TikTok food reviewer took place in December 2022, Keith Lee has dialed in his process quite a bit over 2023. Having recently gone on a “food tour” around the country, Keith Lee has changed the lives of restaurant owners in a variety of cities alongside his family. It’s thanks to this that TikTok has named the former Bellator fighter as their Breakthrough Star in 2023 —for the United States, at least. Keith Lee named TikTok’s Breakthrough Star for 2023 TikTok published their end of the year report on December 6, 2023, revealing some of the top creators and trends from the app throughout the previous year. In each section, they reveal things and people from both the US and global popularity lists, and for “Breakthrough Star,” Keith Lee tops the United States. “Keith Lee is a creator based in Las Vegas, NV who uses his platform to highlight small owned and family restaurants that may have amazing food and customer service, but are not well known. He uses his food review format to give his honest opinion while enjoying one of his passions — eating food,” it reads. They even shared a link to Keith’s review of Frankenson’s Pizza – one of the first that really made Keith and his followers notice the impact social media can have on a business. Keith Lee calls out Picklemeeverything on TikTok over alleged unsafe food practice – Dexerto
Keith Lee calls out Picklemeeverything on TikTok over alleged unsafe food practice TikTok: Keith_lee125/picklemeeverythingFood reviewer Keith Lee has called out ‘Picklemeeverything’ on TikTok over alleged unsafe food practices after another TikTok claimed that pickled products bring an increased risk of botulism. With how easy it is to go viral on TikTok, many of its users have used the popularity of the app to produce content that pushes their own small businesses — whether it be items like stickers or charms, or even various forms of food. Chef Pii’s viral Pink Sauce has been the most prominent food item over the course of 2022, as the TikTok community was up in arms regarding whether or not it was safe to eat. Pink Sauce’s issues were recently solved, but the next food safety controversy started just days after food reviewer Keith Lee brought light to Picklemeeverything, a small pickled food company. Picklemeeverything controversy explained Over the last few months, Keith Lee has made a name for himself on the app as one of the most honest food reviewers. Based in Las Vegas, he often sticks to locally owned restaurants, but sometimes gets sent products from small TikTok businesses. In a now-deleted video, Keith had nothing but compliments for the various pickled foods sent to him by TikToker Picklemeeverything. However, he then learned about the dangers of not properly making pickled food from fellow TikToker FoodScienceBabe, who made a video showing the dangers – as well as calling her out for deleting comments from people saying her business isn’t legal in California. Keith quickly denounced the TikToker’s company due to reports of the product not being sealed properly, and asked all of his followers to cancel their orders if possible. “I fully denounce these actions and products. I don’t work with anybody who can’t take honest feedback and GROW from it, especially when it comes to things being FED TO PEOPLE,” he said in the caption of his video. Shortly after, Picklemeeverything posted a response on her channel telling fans that she has a license to sell her products and will provide more proof soon. The business owner also revealed that no orders are being processed at this time. Keith has yet to respond to Picklemeeverything’s response video as of the time of writing, and the Etsy store where the product is sold has had all of its products removed. We’ll be sure to provide updates to this article as the controversy develops.

Keith Lee cuts Bay Area tour short after being hospitalized for allergic reaction – Dexerto
Keith Lee cuts Bay Area tour short after being hospitalized for allergic reaction TIKTOK: keith_lee125TikToker Keith Lee abruptly cut his Bay Area food tour short after being hospitalized due to an allergic reaction to shellfish. The famous food critic and content creator recently revealed that he had to cut short his visit to California’s Bay Area due to various safety concerns. “Unfortunately the Bay Area stop on the Keith family food tour is officially over, prematurely,” Keith said in his video, which has amassed 3.5 million views. He then revealed the major reasons behind his decision. “I truly don’t believe the Bay is truly for tourists right now, and that’s what I was, a tourist,” he said. “The amount of tents and living structures and burnt-out cars that we saw people living in was shocking to say the least. Just from the outside looking in, it don’t seem like it was much city interference.” He continued, “I wish the city would step in. I don’t know if they have. I don’t know if they’ve been trying, but just from an outsider looking in, it don’t look like there was much city interference.” Keith was also underwhelmed by the actual food and the six-hour wait times he sometimes had to endure. He also suffered a shellfish allergic reaction that landed him in the emergency room. “The second I ate it I blew up like a balloon,” the food critic shared in the clip, noting that the restaurant may not have properly cleaned their utensils or grill. Fortunately, he was quickly relieved by a shot of allergy medicine. “I want to stress that it is not normal for us to go to restaurants, not like it and not post it,” Keith added. “Any other time we ran into this situation, I’ve always had some kind of constructive thing to say. This is just different.” His video has since garnered over 15,000 comments, with mixed reactions from TikTok users. Some applauded him for putting safety first, while others wished he’d explored other parts of the Bay Area. In a follow-up clip, Keith clarified that he didn’t feel unsafe in the areas he visited, but empathized that people shouldn’t have to wait outside for hours to eat in the areas the restaurants are located in.

Keffals banned on Twitch ahead of Destiny tell-all stream – Dexerto
Keffals banned on Twitch ahead of Destiny tell-all stream YouTube: KeffalsPopular political streamer Clara ‘Keffals’ Sorrenti has been banned on Twitch just minutes before doing a tell-all stream about harassment she has faced from Steven ‘Destiny’ Bonnell II. She moved her broadcast to YouTube in the interim. Keffals has quietly grown into one of the internet’s more prolific political commentators, taking a firm stance on trans rights issues in an attempt to push for more LGBT protections globally. This has led to her being the target of harassment online from a number of fellow streamers. While Keffals took most of it on the chin, she has also pushed back against some like former Twitch star Destiny, who has since been permanently banned from the platform. However, just before she was meant to go live to talk about “how Destiny lied about me and weaponized a hate forum [Kiwifarms] that is implicated in multiple suicides against me in an attempt to ruin my life”, her Twitch account was banned. Keffals originally stated: “My account got mass reported before I even started and I am banned from Twitch.” She then went on to continue streaming on YouTube, going through the details of alleged targeted harassment from Destiny and his community. Some have claimed Keffals’ video thumbnail, which contained homophobic slurs said to the creator, was the reason behind the ban instead. The exact reasoning, however, is not known. Keffals’ Twitch channel had just shy of 40,000 followers before it was banned. The streamer also alleged Destiny’s community continued their “brigade” on YouTube, forcing her to turn YouTube chat off. It is unclear when the Twitch ban will be lifted — but it is only a temporary suspension. It hasn’t stopped Keffals from trying to spread her message though, continuing to amass a large audience on Twitter and YouTube.

Keith Lee blasts people sending death threats to restaurants after viral video – Dexerto
Keith Lee blasts people sending death threats to restaurants after viral video TikTok: Keith_Lee125Keith Lee has uploaded a video blasting people after he found out death threats have been sent to a restaurant in Atlanta just days after his review of The Real Milk and Honey. TikTok food critic Keith Lee recently went viral with his review of Atlanta-based restaurant, The Real Milk and Honey. The clip immediately went viral due to Keith’s experience and a list of “house rules” that were uncovered by others shortly after. As usual, Lee was quick to make it clear he didn’t want any hate sent towards the restaurant on his behalf. On October 31, Keith uploaded a video blasting people who had sent death threats and revealed some were sent to the wrong restaurant. Keith Lee blasts people sending death threats In the clip, Keith offered a recap of his recent visit to Atlanta where he reviewed quite a few restaurants, and mentioned that he and his family went to The Real Milk and Honey. He made it clear in the video that there are two similarly named businesses — The Real Milk and Honey and Milk & Honey — emphasizing that it was the former that he and his family visited. “Specifically, don’t leave hate to Milk & Honey, they didn’t do anything,” he said before cutting into a voiceover blasting people for sending that restaurant death threats. “I’m absolutely 100% not with that. That’s so corny and so lame regardless of my opinion on any restaurant. We don’t do that over here at all. If you do that you are not somebody that watch me. That’s not okay in my eyes,” he added. Keith ended the video with clips showing all of the good that he’s done while in Atlanta as well, including showcasing several restaurants that had lines out the door for hours on end. KEEMSTAR’s Friday Fortnite Tournament Breaks More Records Again on May 25th – Dexerto
KEEMSTAR’s Friday Fortnite Tournament Breaks More Records Again on May 25th It was another successful running of the Friday Fortnite tournament on May 25th, as the biggest names in gaming and YouTube put on a show for fans – pulling in millions of viewers. The tournament, hosted and organized by YouTuber Daniel “KEEMSTAR” Keem and tournament website UMG, isn’t exactly about finding the best Fortnite players, but rather, as Keem himself put it, it’s a ‘clout’ tournament. There are top Fortnite players involved, with the likes of TSM pro players Ali “Myth” Kabbani, Darryle “Hamlinz” Hamlin and Daequan “Daequan” Loco taking part, as well as this week’s winners, FaZe Clan pro’s Dennis “Cloak” Lepore and Turner “Tfue” Tenney. More: FaZe Clan’s ‘Tfue’ and ‘Cloak’ Win KEEMSTAR ‘Friday Fortnite #3’ $20,000 Tournament – Final Placements – But there are also some competitors who are not invited for their Fortnite ability, but rather for their popularity, namely YouTubers like Logan Paul and Roman Atwood. These big names help to draw in the massive viewing figures. The players team up in duos, and battle against another duo to see who can get the highest number of kills over two squad games of Fortnite. And for week 3, which boasted an increased prize pool of $20,000, the number of unique viewers rocketed once again – to 8.5 million according to KEEMSTAR himself. Tyler “Ninja” Blevins, who is easily the most watched Fortnite streamer, made it all the way to the finals with his partner, Team Envy player King Richard, where they faced the FaZe Clan duo of Tfue and Cloak. #FridayFortnite week 3 pulled in at least 8.5 million unique viewers.@Ninja himself pulled 2.6 million on @Twitch. & @NickEh30 pulled 1.5 million alone on @YouTubeGaming (Keep in mind viewers can be counted twice if they watch multiple streams.) pic.twitter.com/SZaJQ0Uwv1 — KEEM (@KEEMSTAR) May 26, 2018 Having Ninja reach the final likely helped to boost the overall unique viewers, and pulling in 2.6 million on his stream alone might even be record breaking for his own channel in a single stream. NickEh30 seems to be the most popular Fortnite streamer on YouTube, and considering he only managed 5/6th, his 1.5 million unique viewers is even more impressive. Some viewers will have watched multiple streams, and so the ‘view’ will count twice for example. Because the tournament is streamed on so many channels, it would be impossible to keep track of this. Keep an eye out for week 4 of the Friday Fortnite, which should be another night of top tier Fortnite entertainment, giving fans a taste of what competitive Fortnite could be. More: ICE_POSEIDON Claims Twitch Have Banned His Voice Being Heard on Other Channels During Friday Fortnite Tournament – And on the Saturday following, a small streamer version will go down, with the winners getting a spot in Week 5 of Friday Fortnite.

KEEMSTAR’s Halloween costume contest ends with a creative winner – Dexerto
KEEMSTAR’s Halloween costume contest ends with a creative winner Drama Alert host KEEMSTAR has determined the winner of his annual Halloween costume contest – which is an unsurprising champion from a previous year. This year’s winner is FaZe Banks, who took home the prize for his creative costume of anonymous artist Banksy. He even made a ‘self-destructing painting’ in reference to one of the artist’s controversial works, and wore a mask to conceal his face. Banks had also won KEEMSTAR’s contest back in 2015, where he dressed up as ‘Netflix and chill.’ He was followed by two-time winner Jesse Wellens, and has now taken back his mantle of Halloween champion. After over 200,000 votes! Big congrats to @Banks winning the Halloween Costume Contest this year! pic.twitter.com/F7TgV2r8O9 — KEEM  (@KEEMSTAR) November 2, 2018 Banks’s victory is all thanks to his fans, who had the chance to vote for their favorite internet celebrities for a short time before KEEMSTAR cut off the polls. This year, Jesse Wellens came in at second place with a Back to the Future costume, followed by Jacksfilms, FaZe Adapt, and Ricky Berwick. However, the final two runners-up were surrounded by controversy for their outfits: seventh place winner Tana Mongeau found herself in the middle of a scandal for dressing up as a sexy version of an underage YouTuber, which she defended by claiming that she had only wanted to dress up as a ‘slutty schoolgirl.’ KEEMSTAR likewise called out sixth place winner Alissa Violet – or, rather, the snake she that was carrying in her classic Britney Spears costume. KEEMSTAR implied that the banana python was Erika Costell, referencing the YouTubers’ relationships with Jake Paul.

The rules require players to avoid each other and not to intentionally try and kill the opponent. KEEMSTAR’s Friday Fortnite Tournament a Success as it Boasts Huge Viewing Figures – TSM Myth, NICKMERCS and More – Dexerto
KEEMSTAR’s Friday Fortnite Tournament a Success as it Boasts Huge Viewing Figures – TSM Myth, NICKMERCS and More The inaugural ‘Friday Fortnite’ tournament organized by YouTuber KEEMSTAR was a massive success, as top streamers pulled in millions of viewers across their channels. As KEEMSTAR has made clear, this tournament isn’t about finding who is the ‘best player’ necessarily, but is a tournament for ‘clout’, with just big name streamers and YouTubers invited to play. And those big names certainly did their part in attracting the viewers, with some of the most popular Fortnite streamers such as TSM’s Ali “Myth” Kabbani and NICKMERCS involved. There were also some players not known for Fortnite specifically, but big names nonetheless, such as vlogger Logan Paul or FIFA YouTubers NepentheZ and Nick28t. Of course the tournament did not have a single set stream, instead most participants streamed their matches on their personal streams. This of course made compiling viewing figures difficult, and more so because of the different platforms, with some streaming on Twitch and others on YouTube. However, KEEMSTAR himself reached out to many of the players involved, and has received the total unique viewers which each pulled, with the total amounting to over 5 million. Total Unique Viewers per Player for KEEMSTAR’s Friday Fortnite Tournament Total: 5,312,130 *Note: Some participants figures not included Of course the number would be slightly higher still if the figures for all participants were compiled. The Friday Fortnite tournament is set to be a weekly thing each Friday, and KEEMSTAR has confirmed that it will feature the same kind of invitees. Friday Fortnite is a Clout tournament it’s not about good players it’s about entertaining people playing. Hope that makes sense. — KEEM (@KEEMSTAR) May 15, 2018 One notable omission from the first week was of course the most popular Fortnite streamer, Tyler “Ninja” Blevins, who was not available. It is likely that should he be available next time, and given the momentum of the first tournament, the viewership would continue to increase.

KEEMSTAR Wants ComedyShortsGamer to Drop Out of the Jake Paul Fight and Deji Isn’t Happy About It – Dexerto
KEEMSTAR Wants ComedyShortsGamer to Drop Out of the Jake Paul Fight and Deji Isn’t Happy About It Daniel ‘KEEMSTAR’ Keem wants Deji ‘ComedyShortsGamer’ Olatunji to drop out of his boxing fight with Jake Paul after Joe Weller revealed that he would like to get back into the ring. The KSI versus Logan Paul fight at Manchester Arena on August 25th promises to be one of the biggest events in the history of YouTube. If the first “YouTube Boxing” event that featured KSI and Joe Weller is anything to go by, it will probably break multiple records and become the biggest white collar boxing event in history. If the prospect of KSI and Logan Paul punching each other in the face isn’t enough to get you excited, the two headliners’ brothers, Jake Paul and Deji, are featuring in the co-main event and seem to have a genuine hatred of each other. However, Drama Alert’s KEEMSTAR seems to have done a 180 in terms of his feelings about the fight as he took to Twitter on June 28th to ask Deji to drop out of the fight! This comes after Joe Weller, who lost to KSI in February of 2018, has announced that he wants to get back in the ring and fight on the KSI vs. Logan Paul card. Please @ComedyGamer drop out the fight & let @joe_weller_ fight @jakepaul !!!!!!! (RT) if you want it! pic.twitter.com/78eEkEJBA5 — KEEM (@KEEMSTAR) June 29, 2018 It would appear that KEEMSTAR believes a fight between Joe Weller and Jake Paul would be more competitive than one featuring Deji, who he has expressed his concerns about previously. Brian ‘True Geordie” Davis, who commentated on the KSI vs. Joe Weller fight, responded to the KEEMSTAR, saying that Weller versus Paul would be a fight that everyone would want to see. @joe_weller_ vs @jakepaul is a fight everyone would wanna see. — True Geordie (@TrueGeordieTG) June 29, 2018 One person that didn’t take too kindly to the comments from KEEMSTAR or the True Geordie was Deji himself, who said that their opinions are irrelevant and that they should know better. Having called for, and accepted, the fight with Jake Paul, Deji would face a storm of criticism if he backed out now and it is understandable that he wants to stamp out speculation that it could happen as quickly as possible. To people telling me to drop out, fuck you. My alleged “friends” are snaking me. When I win, don’t shake my hand — Deji (@ComedyGamer) June 29, 2018 Your opinions are irrelevant. KEEMSTAR warns officials about school shooting threat which turns out to be a hoax – Dexerto
KEEMSTAR warns officials about school shooting threat which turns out to be a hoax When a fan asked popular YouTuber KEEMSTAR to share a warning about a potential school shooting threat, the ‘Drama Alert’ host was happy to oblige, but thankfully it turned out to be a hoax. On Sunday, September 23, a Snapchat was posted showing a handgun and the message “Don’t come to school tomorrow.” The location was marked as Mountain Pointe High School in Phoenix. The Snapchat was quickly brought to the attention of Phoenix police and school officials, who have taken measures to protect the school and increased security. However, the same Snapchat image of the handgun was then edited by another user and shared once again, this time covering the name of Mountain Pointe High School, and instead supposedly threatening E.T Booth Middle School in Woodstock, Georgia. In a peculiar turn of events, a Twitter user – claiming to be a student at Booth Middle School – wrote to KEEMSTAR, saying: “HELP! There is going to be a school shooting at my school tomorrow.” More: KEEMSTAR didn’t take any chances, immediately sharing screenshots of the exchange, and posting it on Twitter again, mentioning the official accounts of Cherokee County Schools, Woodstock Police Deparment, and the FBI. Dear @CherokeeSchools , can you please look into this. This student is worried about a school shooting rumor at one of your schools tomorrow. Cc @FBI pic.twitter.com/KYyIRuFDDm — KEEM (@KEEMSTAR) September 26, 2018 The account which initially sent KEEMSTAR the information has since clarified that the threat towards E.T Booth Middle School was in fact a hoax, taken from the real threat in Phoenix. More: The Phoenix school, Mountain Pointe high, was open on Tuesday, September 25, with extra security measures in place, including the prohibitiion of all backpacks and a requirement for students to wear their school ID on them at all times.

KEEMSTAR to quit YouTube? Censor also hints at frustration with the platform Drama Alert host Daniel ‘KEEMSTAR’ Keem may have just announced his departure from YouTube – and other major names are sympathizing with him, too. KEEMSTAR announced his ‘retirement’ from the platform in a Tweet on November 3, claiming that he’d been getting 50% less views due to YouTube being ‘broken.’ “I am officially retiring from YouTube,” KEEMSTAR wrote. “I’m not going to upload videos and get 50% less views because of (BROKEN YOUTUBE) nope. The video last night is only 400k lol, that’s fucking impossible for my channel! Easy 1M by now. Bye hoes!” KEEMSTAR went on to claim that three of his employees had not received an upload notification in their inbox from the Drama Alert episode posted on November 2. He also cited newscaster Philip DeFranco’s drop in views, which KEEM claimed was 40% less than his usual numbers. I am officially Retiring from YouTube. I’m not going to upload videos & get 50% less views because of (BROKEN YOUTUBE) nope. The video last night is only 400k lol .. thats fucking impossible for my channel! Easy 1M by now. Bye hoes! — KEEM  (@KEEMSTAR) November 3, 2018 KEEMSTAR wasn’t the only one to express frustration with YouTube, either. Recently retired Call of Duty pro Censor appeared to sympathize with KEEMSTAR’s grievances, as well. “You’re not alone,” Censor wrote in a reply to KEEM’s Tweet. While Censor hasn’t made any direct claims about leaving the platform, he did express additional dissatisfaction with the internet overall in a previous Tweet. Could he be up for yet another major lifestyle change in the near future? KEEMSTAR and other major YouTubers have been calling out YouTube’s ‘broken’ system for a while now; In fact, massively popular creator Markiplier even theorized that YouTube’s issues are due to the deletion of Google Plus. While this theory has yet to be proven true, it looks like KEEMSTAR isn’t waiting on a solution to the problem.

KEEMSTAR unveils plans for a “legitimate” YouTube Rewind – Dexerto
KEEMSTAR unveils plans for a “legitimate” YouTube Rewind KEEMSTAR, Twitter / YouTube Rewind 2018, YouTubeYouTuber and Drama Alert host Daniel ‘KEEMSTAR’ Keem may have a plan in the works to create another, “legitimate” version of 2018’s widely-disliked YouTube Rewind. This year’s YouTube Rewind was met with intense backlash across the internet – even garnering one of the greatest likes-to-dislikes ratio in YouTube history, thus far. However, audiences may see another rendition of YouTube’s annual tradition, thanks to a Tweet made by KEEMSTAR on December 8. One user asked the host to create a “legitimate” version of the video that “actually represents the YouTube community,” to which KEEMSTAR had a hopeful response. “In the works,” he replied in a Retweet. While some fans are enthusiastic about the potential project, others are skeptical as to its results, with some citing the incredible cost and time needed to create such a video. Be that as it may, KEEMSTAR’s video would likely see better results than its official counterpart, which, as of December 8, has over 4,700,000 dislikes – as opposed to a mere one and a half million likes. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_most-disliked_YouTube_videos This marks the video as the second most disliked upload on the platform, with Justin Bieber’s ‘Baby’ taking the number one spot with over nine million dislikes. YouTube Rewind 2018 beat out Jake Paul’s ‘It’s Everyday Bro’ on December 7, which now sits in third place with just over four million dislikes. YouTubers across the website slammed the video for being out of touch with its community, with notable creator Felix ‘PewDiePie’ Kjellberg calling the product “cringy,” and even claiming that he was “glad [he’s] not in it.”

KEEMSTAR takes shots at Corinna Kopf over her move to Facebook Gaming – Dexerto
KEEMSTAR takes shots at Corinna Kopf over her move to Facebook Gaming Popular YouTuber Daniel ‘KEEMSTAR’ Keem and ex-Twitch streamer Corinna Kopf clashed on December 27, over the latter’s move to Facebook Gaming. Corinna Kopf announced her move to Facebook Gaming on December 27, following a controversial ban from her previous streaming platform, Twitch. She was banned for a year old clip, leading to confusion and frustration on the 24-year-old’s behalf. Kopf explained her decision, stating that she wanted to move to a platform she thought could better empower her and give her followers a better viewing experience. However, in the hours after the announcement was made, Kopf clashed with Keem over the origins of their success. In response to Kopf’s original announcement tweet, Keem responded: “Kinda a gold dig, but I love a good hustle. 50% congrats.” Keem’s suggestion that Kopf had only moved to Facebook for the money was shared by a few other Twitter users. It is the same kind of accusation faced by Shroud, Ninja and CouRage, following their respective moves away from Twitch. However, Keem’s comment didn’t go down too well with the 24-year-old, who instantly hit back. “C’mon Keem,” she replied. “We have so much in common! We both have careers because of other people”. Kinda a gold dig , but i love a good hustle. 50% congrats. https://t.co/pEYq0LXvjG — KEEM 🍿 (@KEEMSTAR) December 27, 2019 c’mon keem, we have so much in common! we both have careers because of other people 🥰 https://t.co/wO25NEkhxO — pouty girl (@CorinnaKopf) December 28, 2019 Kopf’s tweet is both self-deprecating and scathing, suggesting Keem has made a career for himself by talking about other people on his YouTube news show, DramaAlert. As part of David Dobrik’s ‘Vlog Squad’, Kopf became a well-known figure on YouTube. Further to this, her relationship with Fortnite star Turner ‘Tfue’ Tenney saw her establish a significant following on her own Twitch channels. Once again, Keem did not take well to Kopf’s comments. It appears that Keem is referring to the relationship Kopf had with Tfue, which ended back in the summer before the pair reunited. Following Keem’s final tweet, Kopf has not issued a response. Despite Keem’s backhanded compliments and the pair’s subsequent clashes, many were quick to congratulate Kopf over the move to Facebook. It seems a number of fans are excited about the prospect of a new home for the talented streamer.

KEEMSTAR teases major celebrity guest for return of Friday Fortnite KEEMSTAR, Twitter / PewDiePie, YouTubeDrama Alert’s Daniel ‘KEEMSTAR’ Keem has teased a huge development for the return of his Friday Fortnite tournament series, hinting that fans could see a major celebrity guest in the mix. KEEMSTAR teased the possibility in a Tweet on January 10, claiming that he’d scored the “biggest YouTuber in the world” to take part in the competition. “I just got word that when Friday Fortnite returns, the biggest YouTuber in the world will be joining us for week 1 Season 2 of FRIDAY FORTNITE!” KEEM wrote excitedly. I just got word when #FridayFortnite returns the Biggest YouTuber in the world will be joining us for week 1 Season 2 FRIDAY FORTNITE! — KEEM  (@KEEMSTAR) January 11, 2019 With Felix ‘PewDiePie’ Kjellberg currently holding the number one spot for most subscribers on the video platform (with a whopping 80 million subs), KEEMSTAR’s Tweet may have confirmed his appearance on the series – and Pewd’s very first, public foray into Fortnite. KEEMSTAR went on to clarify that the YouTuber in question was not Fresh Prince actor Will Smith, who made his YouTube debut after skydiving from a helicopter over the Grand Canyon in April 2018 (quickly followed by his meme-worthy appearance in YouTube Rewind 2018 in December). While PewDiePie has yet to confirm or deny his involvement in KEEMSTAR’s series, fans are both hopeful and wary of the Swede’s appearance, with some fearing a last-minute fake-out. KEEMSTAR announced the return of his highly-demanded Friday Fortnite series in an episode of Drama Alert on January 7, with a speculative prize pool of $10k as hinted at in yet another Tweet of KEEMSTAR’s on January 1.

KEEMSTAR slams SSSniperwolf for faking gameplay after she wins Kids’ Choice Gaming award – Dexerto
KEEMSTAR slams SSSniperwolf for faking gameplay after she wins Kids’ Choice Gaming award Instagram/SSSnipeWolf/KeemstarPopular YouTuber and host of ‘DramaAlert’ Daniel ‘KEEMSTAR’ Keem has shared his disapproval of the Kids’ Choice Awards – and their decision to crown Alia ‘SSSniperWolf’ Shelesh as ‘Favorite Gamer’ of 2019. SSSniperWolf is one of the largest female YouTubers on the platform, amassing just under 15 million subscribers in the 6 years since her channel was created. However, she has been no stranger to controversy – often accused of faking gameplays. Keem references these alleged fake gameplays in a series of tweets which state that the American YouTuber was a poor choice for the award, and that it would have been much more deserved for Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins, who has found incredible fame over the past year playing Fortnite. Keem said that the Kids’ Choice Awards are “100% BS” and that they’re “based on literally nothing.” He finishes his tweet by saying award shows of this nature mean nothing and are decided by people who do not have sufficient knowledge to make decisions about winners. At the time of writing the tweet stands at over 22,000 likes, showing that a considerable amount of the community agree with Keem’s assessment of the situation. Ninja himself replied, with a tongue-in-cheek smiley face, suggesting he’s also unimpressed with SSSniperWolf’s victory. A second tweet from Keem addresses the allegations of faking gameplays. It states that: “Sssniperwolf has been exposed for years for not getting her own gameplay. Her boyfriend would get the gameplays then she would just commentate over them like it was hers.” He finishes the tweet by saying that her winning the award is “insulting” to gaming, making clear the extent to which he thinks she does not deserve it. SSSniperWolf tweeted a video of her ‘flossing’ in celebration, as well as saying that she loves to see people mad – in response to a tweet which defended giving her the award.

KEEMSTAR slams YouTube “mob” culture as he retires from DramaAlert – Dexerto
KEEMSTAR slams YouTube “mob” culture as he retires from DramaAlert YouTube: DramaAlertYouTube commentator Daniel ‘KEEMSTAR’ Keem announced that he is retiring from his DramaAlert show, claiming that he is tired of hate mobs and that it’s “sad” and “pathetic.” On October 25, the 39-year-old shocked the internet with a tweet that read “I am retiring, full statement later today.” Many assumed it to be a joke or a troll, but just a day later on October 26, he uploaded a DramaAlert video titled “Retired” and in it, explained he doesn’t find YouTube “fun” anymore because of “mob” culture and revealed that he really is leaving the platform. KEEMSTAR retiring from DramaAlert and YouTube “What is up, DramaAlert Nation? I’m your host, Killer KEEMSTAR… And I quit,” the host began. “It’s been almost 14 years that I have been a YouTuber… And quite frankly, I’m not having fun anymore. Recently, things have changed quite a bit.” He explained what led to this point. “It started around the time of the pandemic. There was a shift in the culture where cancel culture became this overpowering thing and people went after YouTubers’ sponsors, really trying to just ruin them financially, and that caused everyone to stop speaking their minds, a walking, talking, commercial.” “What happens is, when nobody speaks their mind and everyone’s a commercial, there’s not really that much entertainment. In entertainment, you need drama,” the personality continued. “Think of the Avengers without drama, think of them without a bad guy. You need some back and forth, you need some battles, you need conflict.” KEEMSTAR explains how YouTube has changed The YouTube star opened up about how he feels YouTube has changed for the worst, stating that there’s no sense of “community” on the platform anymore. “We’re not knit together like we used to be. And a part of the problem is we don’t have a flourishing commentary community,” he said. “So you’re left with the tea channels. And the tea channels have no credibility. Caught lying, bullying, harassing YouTubers nonstop. There are so many of them that they kind of control the narrative. It’s just a giant mess of not fun.” “And then back in the day, I had a fan base that subscribed to my channel and they would go to their sub box and be like, “Oh, a new DramaAlert.” But then YouTube changed,” he continued. “You’ve got to turn the bell on if you want notifications for this channel. Then they added another layer. If you want notifications you have to select the All button. So that was the third stage of trying to separate their creator from their fan base.” What’s next for KEEMSTAR and DramaAlert? The YouTuber revealed that his last video on the DramaAlert channel will be uploaded on his 40th birthday, on March 8, 2022, because he wants enough time to find a new host. “The reason I wanted to announce my retirement now is so I can find my replacement,” he said. “The number one comment I get when I talk about me retiring or me leaving DramaAlert is “Just like Ray William Johnson, remember when he had someone else on his show and it died? It’s gonna be the same!” I get it. We have now until the end of March to find someone that you like. I think it’s very possible. Maybe it’s multiple people hosting, I don’t know.” “This show that I love so much has become kind of a prison. Everything has a start and an end. And for me, being the daily 24/7 host here on DramaAlert, that end has come,” KEEMSTAR finished. “I want to thank you guys for sticking with me for all these 14 years. Thank you for letting me keep you in the loop.”

KEEMSTAR slams Jake Paul for promoting alleged gambling site – Dexerto
KEEMSTAR slams Jake Paul for promoting alleged gambling site KEEMSTAR, Twitter / Jake Paul, YouTubeDrama Alert host Daniel ‘KEEMSTAR’ Keem is taking shots at popular YouTuber Jake Paul, who is currently under fire for promoting an alleged gambling site in one of his videos on December 30. Paul’s video was sponsored by a website called ‘Mystery Brand,’ a service that allows users to pay a set amount of money to open a box of their choice, with the chance of winning name-brand clothing, shoes, or even luxury vehicles out of a random assortment of items. Read More: Ninja’s plan to get New York flossing failed spectacularly during his New Year’s Eve stream – Some fans have since expressed concern that the website is too close to gambling, and are calling out the YouTuber for promoting this content to his relatively young audience – including Drama Alert’s KEEMSTAR. KEEMSTAR pointed out the issue in a Tweet on the same day Paul uploaded his video, claiming that the site had also offered him money to promote their service. Despite the alleged offer, KEEM appeared to be critical of the website, claiming that Paul was encouraging gambling in children. “Jake Paul is now promoting gambling to kids,” KEEMSTAR wrote. “Promoting a gambling site where you pay money for a chance to win HypeBeast stuff. KEEMSTAR slams Logan Paul’s response to Shane Dawson’s docuseries – Dexerto
KEEMSTAR slams Logan Paul’s response to Shane Dawson’s docuseries YouTuber and Drama Alert host Daniel ‘KEEMSTAR’ Keem criticized Logan Paul’s response video to the latest episode of Shane Dawson’s docuseries, ‘The Dark Side of Jake Paul.’ In Logan’s video, he holds that Dawson’s use of the term ‘sociopath’ is harmful, and could leave a negative impression on those who suffer from Antisocial Personality Disorder in the minds of Dawson’s ‘impressionable audience.’ KEEMSTAR mocked Logan’s labeling of sociopaths as ‘people who are just more savage,’ and pointed out that Logan’s video did naught to defend his younger brother from Dawson’s insinuations. “Bro, you’re a sociopath,” KEEMSTAR said. “You have no empathy for anyone – not even your own brother!” KEEMSTAR then pointed out the second individual in Paul’s response video, who was cited by Paul in an earlier vlog as being ‘essentially a babysitter’ hired by Team Maverick during his previous scandal surrounding his trip to Japan’s Aokigahara ‘Suicide Forest.’ “That’s right – Logan doesn’t believe that rules apply to him, that laws apply to him,” KEEMSTAR laughed. “He literally doesn’t have any moral compass whatsoever. He literally had to hire a person to tell him what he should and what he shouldn’t put on YouTube!” Logan’s ‘lack of empathy’ in his video response could stem from his probable involvement in the series, during which Dawson toyed with the idea that living in Logan’s shadow could have had an adverse effect on Jake – and that Logan could be the true sociopath of the two brothers. Logan might be featured in the series upcoming episode, ‘Understanding the Family,’ which will likely discuss the Paul family’s past and present controversies.

KEEMSTAR slams Deji over feud with KSI – Dexerto
KEEMSTAR slams Deji over feud with KSI KEEMSTAR, YouTube / KSI, TwitterDrama Alert host Daniel ‘KEEMSTAR’ Keem has spoken out about his thoughts on the current beef between YouTube brothers KSI and Deji, speculating that Deji might be in a desperate attempt to cash in on views. KEEMSTAR addressed the brothers’ feud in an episode of Drama Alert on December 7, where he admitted that he wasn’t sure if their beef was actually legitimate. However, KEEM revealed DMs between himself and Sidemen member Zerkaa, who claimed that their argument was a “genuine, sensitive family issue,” and stated that neither JJ nor the Sidemen would be responding to Deji’s diss track. KEEMSTAR went on to take issue with Deji’s actions thus far, listing the fact that he leaked his brother’s bank records, claimed that he’d gotten a girl pregnant, and even went on Logan Paul’s ‘Impaulsive’ podcast to further defame KSI. “I must say, if this is real… I feel like Deji is in the wrong,” KEEMSTAR stated. “100%. …The only reason that I can see that Deji would do all this is for views and attention.” KEEMSTAR cited the fact that Deji’s channel had been losing subscribers prior to his beef with KSI, even insinuating that Deji hoped to see a rise in subs to earn a diamond play button. “I think he backstabbed his brother to get that diamond play button,” KEEMSTAR continued. KSI’s feud with Deji began after he leaked his older brother’s bank records during a diss track to Sidemen member Randolph, who he called “KSI’s Bitch.” Additionally, Deji went on to claim that KSI had gotten a girl pregnant – even insinuating that he’d pressured her to abort the child. Since then, KSI has made attempts to patch things up with his brother – but Deji isn’t backing down.

KEEMSTAR slams Epic Games in wake of his new $100,000 tournament series – Dexerto
KEEMSTAR slams Epic Games in wake of his new $100,000 tournament series Drama Alert host Daniel ‘KEEMSTAR’ Keem is taking issue with Epic Games yet again, just after the announcement of his brand-new tournament series. KEEMSTAR announced a $100,000 tournament series for battle royale and sandbox crafting title Creative Destruction on November 9. However, some fans asked that he bring back his ‘Friday Fortnite’ series, instead – to which KEEMSTAR had a vehement response. “I will never run a Fortnite tourney as long as I live,” KEEMSTAR Tweeted. “Fuck Fortnite!” He followed up this statement with a second Tweet, claiming that he would never support Epic Games due to the alleged disrespect he was shown after teasing a return of Friday Fortnite in early September. “The amount of disrespect Epic Games showed me has made me an enemy for LIFE!” he wrote. “I’ll ever support anything they do!” After i did this & we got the RTs , Epic games ran a event called ( Friday Night Fortnite ) Thats when i gave up! The amount of disrespect @EpicGames shown me has made me and enemy for LIFE! Ill never support anything they do! — KEEM  (@KEEMSTAR) November 9, 2018 He then uploaded a video on the matter, where he called out those who felt that Epic Games were within their rights to create their own ‘Friday Night Fortnite’ initiative. “If you have this mindset, ‘It’s their game, they can do what they want,’ you’re an enemy of gaming entertainment,” he said. “It’s their game they can do what they want” pic.twitter.com/qO5PJIi1vE — KEEM  (@KEEMSTAR) November 9, 2018 KEEMSTAR’s ‘Friday Fortnite’ initiative was dashed due to reported scheduling conflicts with Epic Games’ ‘Summer Skirmish’ tournament series, as well as the company’s decision to cap the competition’s prize money. Since then, KEEMSTAR has announced a major tournament series for Creative Destruction, which has seen interest from big names in Fortnite like FaZe Tfue and 100 Thieves’ Kenith, among others.

KEEMSTAR shares theory on why Deji decided to squash beef with KSI – Dexerto
KEEMSTAR shares theory on why Deji decided to squash beef with KSI While the very much publicized feud between YouTube siblings Deji and KSI looks to be over and done, Drama Alert host Daniel ‘KEEMSTAR’ Keem has shared a theory on just why the feud might have ended. Deji and KSI had been fighting for the better part of a month when things came to a head on Christmas morning with a fiery back and forth on Twitter. The pair has since pledged to squash their beef in the hopes of getting back to normalcy, but KEEMSTAR seems to think it’s possible that Deji had other reasons for wanting to end the beef. In a Tweet posted hours after Deji had uploaded a video apologizing for his part of the feud, KEEMSTAR looked towards Deji’s plummeting subscriber count as the main reason for the change of heart. “It seems like Deji wanted to squash the beef with KSI [because] he was losing subs bad,” KEEMSTAR said along with a screenshot of Deji’s subscriber numbers. From a outsider looking in. It seems like ( AND I COULD BE WRONG ) but it seems like @Deji wanted to squash the beef with @KSIOlajidebt cus he was losing subs bad. pic.twitter.com/Se4SwxLrHv — KEEM  (@KEEMSTAR) December 26, 2018 After someone told KEEMSTAR to stick to the facts instead of making broad assumptions, KEEMSTAR quickly doubled down on the theory with more facts to support it. “Deji has not backed down [or] tried to resolve things with his brother until he starting losing subs,” KEEMSTAR stated to the Twitter user. Ok here’s the facts. Deji has not backed down & not tried to resolve things with his brother until he started losing subs. fact https://t.co/xZ4lonGC27 — KEEM  (@KEEMSTAR) December 26, 2018 Whatever the real reason for the end of the feud was, it truly looks to be over and done with as the pair has not interacted on social media since December 25. With KSI set to have a boxing rematch with Logan Paul in 2019, time will tell if they will get to a point where Deji stands by his brother’s side during the fight.

KEEMSTAR Shuts Down Controversial YouTuber Over Ninja’s Comments About Drake – Dexerto
KEEMSTAR Shuts Down Controversial YouTuber Over Ninja’s Comments About Drake It’s not considered a real internet controversy unless popular YouTuber Daniel ‘KEEMSTAR’ Keem is involved. The host of ‘DramaAlert’ took to social media to chime in on the recent controversy being made of Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins’ comments about global music artist Drake. Much attention has been given to a viral clip posted on Twitter by YouTuber ‘OMGItsBirdman’ who was arguing that Ninja believes Drake had used him to sell more albums. Ninja thinks Drake used him LOL bro everybody in your stream already knows who Drake is. Who the fuck does this guy think he is?? Dude thinks he is more well known than Drake LMAOOO pic.twitter.com/BxRJNOsd0u — Anthony (@OMGItsBirdman) July 5, 2018 Of course the two have played Fortnite together on multiple occasions, including during a record breaking stream that amassed over 630,000 concurrent viewers at one point. However, as many were quick to point out, OMGItsBirdman failed to include what Ninja had said after that clip was taken, which made the whole “controversy” rather empty and pointless. tbh the video you tweeted is kind of deceiving though – makes it seem like @Ninja is just talking down on Drake which isn’t true. Here’s the 2nd half for those who are interested pic.twitter.com/GYPt9hLdso — Muaaz Shakeel (@mws) July 5, 2018 The following day, KEEMSTAR posted his own video on his Twitter page, in which he expressed his personal views on the whole situation. “Over the last 24 hours there’s been a story out there that ‘Ninja saying that Drake used him!’ […] Now listen, I don’t believe that Ninja thinks that Drake actually used him. I think his line of wording was just a little bit off here. When Drake came on Ninja’s stream, it helped Ninja out and Ninja knows that. But the whole argument that it didn’t help Drake at all and Drake was just helping Ninja is ridiculous because as an artist, they want to sell songs, they want to sell albums, they want to make money from selling their music. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a correct statement when you say ‘everybody knows Drake.’ But the fact that Ninja and Drake played together, I believe caused Drake to get more record sales.”

KEEMSTAR shares shocking speculation on Jake Paul and Erika Costell’s breakup – Dexerto
KEEMSTAR shares shocking speculation on Jake Paul and Erika Costell’s breakup KEEMSTAR, Twitter / Teen VogueYouTubers Jake Paul and Erika Costell broke off their relationship in early November – but other YouTubers across the platform aren’t buying their breakup. While Jake and Erika split in early November after weeks of reportedly trying to salvage their relationship, Drama Alert’s Daniel ‘KEEMSTAR’ Keem doesn’t appear to believe their breakup story. The YouTuber even speculated that the two are definitely going to get back together, and even claimed that their split was all part of a stunt for Jake Paul’s new documentary series, ‘Jake Paul Uncut.’ “Yeah, he and Erika Costell are 100% getting back together,” KEEMSTAR wrote in a Tweet on December 2. “Planned breakup for a series.” Yeah him and @erikacostell are 100% getting back together… Planned breakup for a series. — KEEM  (@KEEMSTAR) December 2, 2018 Jake Paul has since detailed the ins and outs of their split in his new documentary series, claiming that he’d tried to repair their relationship with a road trip. While both Jake and his crew felt the trip would be a good idea, he later revealed that he and Costell couldn’t even make it four hours in the car together before returning home. Instagram model Nikki Banner came forward with claims about her involvement with Paul just after news of the breakup went live, alleging that he was texting other girls the very next day after she had hooked up with the YouTuber – and even asked if he should patch things up with Costell, to boot. Since then, sources around Paul have claimed that he is looking for a new relationship for the holidays – but his recent Tweets (and his ‘Jake Paul Uncut’ series) share evidence to the contrary.

KEEMSTAR roasts Jake Paul and Pokimane in series of scathing Tweets – Dexerto
KEEMSTAR roasts Jake Paul and Pokimane in series of scathing Tweets Drama Alert host Daniel ‘KEEMSTAR’ Keem has taken some savage shots at YouTube star Jake Paul and popular Twitch streamer Pokimane in a series of Tweets on November 15. Jake Paul uploaded a selfie early on November 15, which featured the YouTuber wearing a clean pair of glasses, chains, and a tank top. While his fans applauded his appearance in the pic’s comments, that didn’t stop KEEMSTAR from going in on his appearance. “Ellen DeGeneres has to get off the drugs,” KEEMSTAR wrote above the selfie in a separate Tweet. “She looks horrible.” Ellen DeGeneres has to get off the drugs. Pokimane did another stream without makeup. pic.twitter.com/yXj9WD6DsI — KEEM  (@KEEMSTAR) November 16, 2018 During their squabble, KEEMSTAR called Pokimane a “fake bitch” for defending the fan, who had set his Twitter account to private and updated his bio with a disturbing message due to KEEMSTAR’s comments toward him. These events were preceded by Pokimane going barefaced during a livestream in late October, which saw massive amounts of backlash from her (mostly male) fans. The streamer hit back with a Tweet thanking her supporters, stating that she is “at peace” with her imperfections. While Pokimane has yet to respond to KEEMSTAR’s Tweet, he appears to be itching for more drama, as stated in a Tweet asking YouTubers to “stop being so nice to each other.”

KEEMSTAR shades Alinity, Trisha Paytas and more with new makeup line – Dexerto
KEEMSTAR shades Alinity, Trisha Paytas and more with new makeup line YouTuber and online drama arbiter KEEMSTAR has released a new product that absolutely no one asked for or were expecting: his own line of cosmetics. KEEM launched the apparently real makeup line with a color palette that debuted in a new video on December 2. The reaction to his idea for “Keem Kosmetics” was met with the same confused reaction by people in the video that almost everyone else has had to this bold new direction for the Drama Alert brand. After his idea gets rejected/mocked by other internet personalities, KEEM decides to show the world what he and his cosmetics line is really made of. The results, safe to say, are both disturbing and hilarious in a way that KEEMSTAR putting on full clown makeup can be. Drama Alert’s host and his backup dancers would fit right in on Insane Clown Posse tour and who knows? Maybe this is all an attempt to corner the Juggalo makeup market by Keem Kosmetics. Some of the colors are obviously jabs at other YouTubers and streamers, with “KITCHEN FLOOR” yellow/orange in honor of Trisha Paytas‘ favorite place to record vlogs. There’s also “FAZED” orange, which as you can guess is a nice warm FaZe Clan hue most likely in honor of FaZe Banks. Last, but certainly not least, is “CAT THROWER” purple, in reference to what might be the most infamous streaming incident from 2019 involving Twitch Streamer Alinity. “Keem Kosmetics: Unlock your inner clown,” KEEM pitched while holding back a laugh. “Guys, the beauty community is going to come at my neck, please protect me at all costs, I’m scared.” Dexerto managed to get an order in for the Keem Kosmetics palette before the site began to bog down so we can confirm it is real and available to be purchased. There’s no telling how successful the bizarre, but hilarious, Keem Kosmetics line will do, but KEEMSTAR posted on Twitter shortly after the reveal video went live that he’s almost sold out of the first run.

KEEMSTAR Reveals His Predictions For the KSI vs Logan Paul Fight and Claims There Will Be More to Come – Dexerto
KEEMSTAR Reveals His Predictions For the KSI vs Logan Paul Fight and Claims There Will Be More to Come KEEMSTARYouTuber Daniel ‘KEEMSTAR’ Keem has offered his predictions for the highly anticipated boxing match between internet superstars KSI and Logan Paul. In addition to revealing his predictions, the host of ‘Drama Alert’ also claimed that this will not be the last time these two meet in the boxing ring, as there may be two additional fights in the future. According to Keem, KSI will be crowned the victor in the upcoming fight, although it will be by a small margin and in a later round. On Aug 25th KSI will barley beat Logan in the 5th round. However, he believes that the result will lead to a rematch bout that will be held in the USA, and Logan Paul will take that fight quickly and early. The rematch will be in America & Logan Paul will win early. According to Keem, the action might not even stop there as the two YouTubers will want to break the tie with a third fight, which Keem believes would be held in Africa with KSI taking home the belt. This will cause a 3rd fight held in Africa KSI will win. Likely to be the biggest event in YouTube history, the boxing match will be streamed live in Pay-Per-View, meaning that viewers will have to pay $8 to watch. While no other fights after the August 25 bout have been officially confirmed, if anyone was to have insider knowledge it would be KEEMSTAR, who has been heavily involved with the fight in the months leading up to it.

KEEMSTAR reveals major changes to Friday Fortnite after players drop out – Dexerto
KEEMSTAR reveals major changes to Friday Fortnite after players drop out Friday Fortnite is the biggest event of the week for Fortnite, but that hasn’t stopped players from dropping out last minute – something Daniel ‘KEEMSTAR‘ Keem isn’t happy about as he has now promised major changes for the event going forward. KEEMSTAR said he was cutting the number of teams in Fortnite Friday to eight, in a since-deleted tweet, after having five players tell him just before the event began they couldn’t play. “Starting Next Friday we are cutting the #FridayFortnite teams down to only 16 players and 8 teams,” he tweeted. “I just had 5 people tell me they can’t play 2 hours before the event starts. This (has) been happening every week. Then we have to fill in the spots with (randoms). No more.” This tweet comes on the heels of Turner ‘Tfue‘ Tenney revealing he made both FaZe Sway and Clix drop out of the tournament in order to practice for the Epic Games-hosted Trios tournament. Tfue announced they were both on his team and then later took credit for making them drop out of the event at the last minute. Though it is unclear whether he was serious or just being a major troll. so last minute i made @ClixHimself @FaZeSway drop out of friday fortnite due to cash cup practice — Tfue (@TTfue) July 12, 2019 Both Sway and Clix gave statements on Twitter addressing why they dropped out of Friday Fortnite. “Instead of playing Fortnite Friday I think it’s best for me to practice with my trio as a pro player,” Clix tweeted. “I will be streaming Trio Cup (Saturday) and (Sunday). Thanks for understanding. I already talked with Dellor and he understands.” Instead of playing fortnite friday I think it’s best for me to practice with my trio as a pro player. I will be streaming Trio Cup sat and sun. Thanks for understanding. I already talked with @dellorlol and he understands. — Clix (@ClixHimself) July 12, 2019 “Sitting out of Fortnite Friday due to practicing for Cash Cup (tomorrow),” said Sway. While both of these players had solid reasons for backing out, Keem argued he didn’t know there was another event and that it doesn’t pull close to the same numbers as Friday Fortnite. sitting out of fortnite friday due to practicing for cash cup tmrw — Code: YoSway (@FaZeSway) July 12, 2019 “I didn’t even know there was an event tomorrow,” Keem said in a deleted tweet. “(Nor did) a lot of people. Because whatever this event is tomorrow doesn’t pull anywhere near the views of Friday Fortnite pulls. And if people had to practice they should’ve notified me days ago not today!” For what it’s worth, Keem isn’t upset that Tyler ‘Ninja‘ Blevins missed the event because he’s stuck on a plane. We’ll have to see if he actually goes through with the rule change or if he has a change of heart before next week.

KEEMSTAR Responds To Criticism From OpTic Diesel on Friday Fortnite Tournament – Dexerto
KEEMSTAR Responds To Criticism From OpTic Diesel on Friday Fortnite Tournament Right: di3sel.comA dispute has sparked on social media between two prominent gaming community figures, Daniel “KEEMSTAR” Keem and OpTic Gaming’s Mike “Diesel” Carr. KEEMSTAR has been organizing and running a ‘Friday Fortnite’ tournament each week, inviting big name streamers and YouTubers to take part. The tournament has been an instant success, drawing in millions of viewers and effectively bringing together the community for what is set to be a weekly tournament. More: Ninja Goes Off For Insane 23 Kill Round Against FaZe In KEEMSTAR Friday Fortnite $10,000 Tournament – The tournament features some of the biggest names including many of Diesel’s fellow OpTic members Hector “H3CZ” Rodriguez, Seth “Scump” Abner, Jack “CouRage” Dunlop and Tyler “TeePee” Polchow. However, Diesel hit out at KEEMSTAR personally on Twitter, suggesting he is not fit to be the ‘public face’ of the tournament because he is apparently ‘toxic’. And Diesel did not stop there, going on to even call out some of his close friends for associating themselves with the tournament. Big names such as TSM’s Ali “Myth” Kabbani, 100 Thieves’ owner and former OpTic member Matt “Nadeshot” Haag and 100 Thieves’ member Nick “NICKMERCS” Kolcheff all take part in the tournament, and Diesel called them out particularly. KEEMSTAR was quick to respond, questioning Diesel’s contribution to the community himself and saying no one “let him” run it, as he created it himself. Look at this soy boy beta .. hey tag along Mike. No one let me run it, I Created it. What do you do for the community exactly? nothing https://t.co/qBxqpbI1NN — KEEM (@KEEMSTAR) May 19, 2018 He also later responded with a video explaining his response in more detail. I’m not going to lie dude, I’m triggered, I’m upset. I just woke up ten minutes ago and I see this Tweet from you, and I’m fucking beyond triggered. For weeks, I’m sitting here, all day long focusing on this tournament making sure everything runs right. You have no idea the work that’s involved Mike. You literally have to talk to everyone, you have to be on the phone all day, you have to be contacting people in the tournament, potential sponsors, I’m on the phone with UMG, I’m in meetings, someone has to change a teammate, I have to change the bracket. There is so much involved in this, it has consumed my god damn life to create this. And I get this tweet from you, and I’m thinking to myself: ‘what the fuck do you do for the community?’ It drives me insane that you can have this opinion, and send this shade this way, when you do nothing. I want to know what you do for this community? Because I’m sitting here grinding, I’m sitting here working. And do you know how much I get paid, for Friday Fortnite? Do you want to know how much money I make off doing this tournament? Nothing. Nothing. You want to know why I created it? Because I fucking love Fortnite and this community, we needed something like this. So what do you do? Don’t fucking talk shit, without stepping to the plate.” Because of this tweet I’m changing the name from “Friday Fortnite” to “Keemstar’s tournament” — KEEM (@KEEMSTAR) May 19, 2018

KEEMSTAR explains why Friday Fortnite & Minecraft Monday are canceled for now – Dexerto
KEEMSTAR explains why Friday Fortnite & Minecraft Monday are canceled for now Keemstar, Twitter / UMGYouTube superstar Daniel ‘KEEMSTAR‘ Keem has announced the cancelation of his popular weekly tournaments Friday Fortnite and Minecraft Monday, which saw streamers and pro players go head to head in the games’ public lobbies. The announcement comes hours after October 7’s Minecraft Monday was sent spiraling into chaos thanks to a hacker destroying the server, though KEEMSTAR revealed that it was a financial decision, rather than a spur of the moment choice following the drama. Instead, Keem explained that although he likes “putting on a show for the community” and loved organizing the two weekly events, the fact that it earns too little money has seen it plod along on a “shoestring budget” for the past few months. “There’s this misconception that I’m making thousands and thousands, millions of dollars off these tournaments,” the weekly-event mogul said in a video shared on Twitter. “No, no, people don’t understand that the amount of work to organize something like this is insane. Because of the lack of money, Keem felt the events had been suffering in quality, and explained that he wanted viewers to have the best possible experience while watching their favorite stars battle it out once or twice a week. “Frankly, we’ve been cutting so many corners on Minecraft Monday, like money should be spent here and there, and same with Friday Fortnite, and the reason we don’t spend the money and put money into it is we’re not making any money!” he said. Future of #FridayFortnite & #MinecraftMonday !!! pic.twitter.com/SHUApjW5vm — KEEM  (@KEEMSTAR) October 7, 2019 KEEMSTAR revealed that there was still a future for the Fortnite and Minecraft events, however. Though he didn’t name the companies vying for a chance to helm the weekly tournaments, the YouTuber confirmed there were a few investors waiting in the wings. “What’s happening now is that I have two companies, maybe three, that are fighting over taking over my tournaments and replacing UMG, and they’re offering some crazy money,” he said. “Last Friday and today’s Minecraft Monday could have been way better if I had money so I feel like it’s stupid to keep doing these events on a shoestring budget, when in a couple of months I would have a lot of money, could even raise the prize pool, and I might actually get paid for putting all this work into doing these tournaments!” The YouTuber also offered up a vague return date for when viewers and fans could once again watch the ever-popular events – sometime in November. “I’m thinking the return of Minecraft Monday and Friday Fortnite will be in November. Also, there’s some brand new games that we’re working on tournaments with, that’s going to come out in the future as well,” he confirmed. “I want to hold on this now because I don’t want to do this on a shoestring budget, I want this that you guys love and cherish, and that’s why I’m doing it – for you. Right now it’s not getting the vibe that I want it to.” This isn’t the first time the event has been dropped into a hiatus either. Back in August, Fortnite Friday found itself shelved during Epic’s Trios qualifiers, a move Keem was quick to slam the game publishers for. While there are no hard and fast dates for fans to expect a return, KEEMSTAR’s promises seem to confirm bigger and better events on the horizon, and potentially a whole new as-yet-unconfirmed game entering the roster – World of Warcraft Wednesdays, anybody?

KEEMSTAR refutes claims blaming him for Etika’s mental state in emotional video KEEMSTAR, Twitter / Etika, YouTubePopular YouTuber and streamer Desmond ‘Etikah’ Amofah was announced deceased by the NYPD on June 25, following the release of a disturbing suicide video and a five-day disappearance – and some fans are blaming a key figure in internet drama for his deteriorating mental health prior to his death. Drama Alert host Daniel ‘KEEMSTAR’ Keem is facing ample backlash in wake of the news, with critics accusing him of egging on Etika’s mental breakdowns. Angry fans point to an interview Keem uploaded with Etika in early May, which he asked his followers if they wanted to see before releasing – in spite of comments asking Keem to “leave him alone.” Bruh and u say that u felt sorry for him.ROACH pic.twitter.com/s0vh4HOqUp — Nikola (@VampireD456) June 29, 2019 However, KEEMSTAR is vehemently denying these allegations, claiming that he and Etika became close friends and arguing that he had been “genuinely concerned” about Etika’s mental health. “A lot of people are looking for someone to blame for the Etika thing, and obviously I am the target they have picked,” KEEMSTAR said in an emotional Twitter video on June 29. “…nobody goes and shows Tweets where I’m genuinely concerned because that doesn’t fit the narrative of ‘You’re the one to blame.’” KEEMSTAR went on to state that he’d thought Etika’s outbursts were merely publicity stunts, claiming that Etika was “fine” when they’d spoken and had been “normal” when he “wanted” to guest star on Drama Alert. “I don’t know how to explain this,” he continued. “I just can’t explain it. Trust me, I’m beating myself up about a lot of stuff. I am. I could have done this differently. I should have talked to him in the last two weeks. …he didn’t reach out to me, and I didn’t reach out to him. Because, again, I thought everything was fine.” Despite Keem’s videos on the topic, fans are still speaking out against the Drama Alert host, with some accusing him of faking his emotion. KEEMSTAR responds after being sued for $3.5m by Romeo Lacoste – Dexerto
KEEMSTAR responds after being sued for $3.5m by Romeo Lacoste YouTube: DramaAlertPopular YouTuber and Drama Alert host Daniel ‘KEEMSTAR’ Keem has revealed that he is being sued for $3.5 million by Romeo Lacoste, for claims he made about the tattoo artist in 2019. Back in March of 2019, Romeo Lacoste was accused of sending inappropriate messages to underage fans included in which, he detailed explicit sexual acts and alcohol consumption to fans aged 14 & 15. The claims against the then 30-year-old quickly made waves on social media, with Keemstar picking up the story and covering it on his Drama Alert show. Now, Lacoste has sued the YouTuber in federal court due to the claims made against him on the news show. After the filing came to light, Keemstar hinted at a response on his Twitter account, even canceling his initial Drama Alert covering the topic on March 13. The YouTube star finally gave part of his response during the March 14 episode of Drama Alert, after a number of further social media teases. Keem claimed that if he loses the case, it would “affect all of YouTube and all YouTubers.” However, the Drama Alert host noted that he couldn’t respond fully without talking to his attorneys and would have to postpone a response until the Monday, March 16 episode of his news show. Timestamp for mobile viewers of 8:54 In the legal complaint made from the tattoo artist’s side of the case, it alleges that Keem accused Lacoste of pedophilia in several videos on social media – including two videos in the days after the accusations came to light, as well as one as recent as February 2020. The more recent claim against a video follows up a Drama Alert that included a recording of Lacoste taking part in “conversations of a sexual nature” with a minor. The tattoo artist contends that he was “falsely told” that she was actually “age of majority” and that she recorded the conversation without consent. In addition to that, Lacoste’s complaint against Keemstar alleges that the Drama Alert host has subsequently caused him “great economic harm” with a loss of business, clients, and contract opportunities. The filing was made in California on March 10, 2020 with the demand for a jury trial. Whether or not it will reach that point remains to be seen.

Critics are sounding off across social media against KEEMSTAR, pointing out his controversial interview with Etika prior to his death, in which Amofah claimed that he was the “Anti-Christ” and wanted to “purge all life” from Earth. Others noted that KEEMSTAR went through with the interview despite fans urging him to “leave Etika alone,” with KEEMSTAR Tweeting, “suck a dick” in response to their concerns. Bruh and u say that u felt sorry for him.ROACH pic.twitter.com/s0vh4HOqUp — Nikola (@VampireD456) June 29, 2019 The Drama Alert host finally spoke out on the matter in an episode on July 1, where he gave a similar message to critics blaming him for Etika’s mental state. “For those of you saying I’m trying to milk the situation like I milked it in the interview, please go fuck yourself,” Keem said of the matter, going on to claim that, “I really, really want to drag some of these people who used his death as a way to get back at me, but this one time, I’m going to ignore it.” [Timestamp: 6:50 for mobile viewers] Keem responded to the backlash in a series of videos on Twitter a day prior to his Drama Alert episode, where he claimed that Etika had been “fine” and had even wanted to guest star on the show – a proposition that led Keem to believe Etika’s mental breakdowns were merely a publicity stunt. Etika’s mother later sent Keem a lengthy text message responding to the drama, asking angry fans to divert their vitriol and calling for a “better platform” for mental health awareness. 500 This statement was backed up by Etika’s ex-girlfriend and Twitch streamer Alice Pika, who had even organized a memorial for the YouTuber at the Manhattan bridge for his community. KEEMSTAR jokingly announces legal action against Fortnite developers Epic Games KEEMSTAR, Twitter / Fortnite, Epic GamesPopular YouTuber and Drama Alert host Daniel ‘KEEMSTAR’ Keem has jokingly announced that he is officially taking legal action against Fortnite developers Epic Games. KEEMSTAR announced the supposed move in a Tweet on December 22, coupled with a screenshot of Fortnite’s Gnome skin. “I will be joining the class action lawsuit against Fortnite, aka Epic Games!” KEEMSTAR wrote. I will be joining the class action lawsuit against @FortniteGame aka @EpicGames ! pic.twitter.com/S9zIoGd890 — KEEM  (@KEEMSTAR) December 23, 2018 He went on to clarify his stance on the issue, claiming that his Tweet was not made in jest, but it’s likely that he’s simply stringing his followers along in an effort to keep the joke going. “People think this is a joke,” KEEM continued in a reply Tweet. “It’s not.” KEEMSTAR seemingly doubled down on the issues, referencing the many YouTube videos that are drawing a connection between him and the new Fortnite gnome skin released on December 22. YouTube RN! You owe me $5Mill for my IP! @FortniteGame pic.twitter.com/5UXCinozDT — KEEM  (@KEEMSTAR) December 23, 2018 KEEMSTAR’s stance on the matter is yet another example of him taking aim at Epic Games, as the YouTuber has been outspoken about his distaste for the company in the past. KEEM went on a notable rant against Epic on November 9, after fans called for a return of his ‘Friday Fortnite’ tournament series in light of his ‘Creative Destruction’ event. “The amount of disrespect Epic Games has shown me has made me an enemy for LIFE!” KEEMSTAR said of the situation in a Tweet. “I’ll never support anything they do!” After i did this & we got the RTs , Epic games ran a event called ( Friday Night Fortnite ) Thats when i gave up! Additionally, KEEMSTAR took issue with the developers’ cap on the competition’s prize money, feeling that they didn’t “respect or value” the entertainers and content creators who helped grow the game’s popularity. “It’s their game they can do what they want” pic.twitter.com/qO5PJIi1vE — KEEM  (@KEEMSTAR) November 9, 2018

KEEMSTAR hints at Apex Legends tournament with massive prize pool – Dexerto
KEEMSTAR hints at Apex Legends tournament with massive prize pool YouTuber Daniel ‘KEEMSTAR’ Keem has revealed that he is considering hosting a tournament for new battle royale game Apex Legends – and even suggested a prize pool of $100,000. KEEMSTAR has previously hosted tournaments with popular streamers and YouTubers as the competitors, with fan-favorite Fortnite, Blackout and Realm Royale tournaments pulling in millions of viewers. The Drama Alert host would strictly invite players with the biggest followings, rather than necessarily those with the most skill, knowing that this would attract the highest viewership possible. Unfortunately, despite its popularity, the ‘Friday Fortnite’ tournaments had to cease, as Epic Games began running their own tournaments and the scheduling clashed. KEEMSTAR has previously hinted at bringing the tournaments back, but with the sudden surge in popularity for Respawn’s new battle royale, set in the Titanfall universe, Apex Legends could be the perfect game for the next big money competition. With many of the top streamers playing Apex Legends on launch day, it already rose to the top of all games on February 4, and KEEMSTAR will know an organized event with a big prize pool could be a massive attraction.

KEEMSTAR Hints at His Ideal Commentary Duo For the UMG Friday Fortnite Competitions – Dexerto
KEEMSTAR Hints at His Ideal Commentary Duo For the UMG Friday Fortnite Competitions https://umggaming.com/shop/prime-membership Following the first two weeks of success, KEEMSTAR is looking for some top tier casting talent for the next running of the Friday Fortnite tournament. The tournament, which features many top streamers and YouTubers and offers a significant cash prize, was organized by KEEMSTAR in association with UMG, as one of the first major competitive Fortnite competitions on such a scale. Top streamers including Ninja, TSM Myth, King Richard, Nadeshot have all participated, as well as YouTubers like Logan Paul. More: Ninja, TSM Myth and Nadeshot Address KEEMSTAR’s Friday Fortnite Tournament After Di3sel Criticism – For the first two weeks, the viewers have been split over the various Twitch and YouTube channels, with UMG themselves providing a holistic stream attempting to capture some of the best matches, with commentary. However, KEEMSTAR has grand plans for the tournament, and with all the top tier participants, is also looking for some top tier casting talent to complete the package. Of course there is a long list of popular casting talent in the esports world, but it is difficult to acquire their services when in such high demand. KEEMSTAR is aiming high however, as he hints that he would love to have veteran casting duo Chris “Puckett” Puckett and Ryan “Fwiz” Wyatt on board. Puckett and Fwiz are legendary in the casting world, particularly in Halo and Call of Duty, but it has been some years since they worked together on the desk. Puckett is now the primary desk host for the Overwatch League, while Fwiz is the head of Gaming at YouTube. However, with the peak in viewership which the Fortnite tournament is bringing to YouTube Gaming may get Fwiz’ attention, and Puckett hinted that he may be interested in the opportunity. So it looks like there may be potential for a legendary duo to return, all in the name of Fortnite and the new Friday Fortnite tournament. Next week’s tournament is set for Friday May 25th, and will feature the biggest prize pool yet, with a $20,000 first place prize.

KEEMSTAR goes in on Jake Paul’s new YouTube series – Dexerto
KEEMSTAR goes in on Jake Paul’s new YouTube series KEEMSTAR, Twitter / Jake Paul, YouTubeYouTuber and Drama Alert host Daniel ‘KEEMSTAR’ Keem has weighed in on controversial social media star Jake Paul’s newest documentary series – and his comments pulled no punches. KEEMSTAR uploaded his thoughts on the show’s first episode in a Twitter video on November 25, claiming that Paul’s newest venture was “sugar-coated,” and compared it to Shane Dawson’s own docuseries from late September. “I’m not gonna lie, it’s okay,” KEEMSTAR began. “It’s not bad. …I don’t know if it’s good, though. It’s still sugar-coated. Like the Shane Dawson documentary series, it’s still sugar-coated.” He went on to give Paul advice, stating that he should show his “worst moments” if he really wants to be the “king of YouTube.” “You know the cameras are on, it’s not the real Jake Paul,” KEEMSTAR continued. “Jake, if you wanna knock this out of the park… you gotta show your worst moments. You being a psychopath is entertainment. That’s what everyone’s tuning in to see.” His comments follow a moment in the new series where Paul addressed his relationship with KEEMSTAR – specifically the fact that Paul had previously blocked him on Twitter. According to texts from Dawson, KEEMSTAR had allegedly asked for Paul to unblock him after seeing Shane’s series, even claiming that KEEMSTAR “likes him, but has been nervous to say it.” Paul responded to the texts (along with KEEM’s video review of Dawson’s series) by unblocking the host, effectively squashing their beef. The first episode of ‘Jake Paul Uncut’ went into detail about Paul’s breakup with Erika Costell in late October, and promised to delve even further into the debacle in future episodes.

KEEMSTAR published a Tweet on January 28 that revealed a sudden halt to his drone-based battle royale game. Instead, it looks as if KEEM and his team are set to crank out another genre, altogether, and will henceforth focus on development of a survival title, instead. KEEMSTAR Gets Top Twitch Streamers Unbanned After Interscope Records “Accidentally” Copyright Striked for Music A number of top Twitch streamers woke up on Friday June 22nd to discover their channels had been banned for 24 hours, after DMCA strikes were imposed for music playing during live streams. Streamers included Felix “xQc” Lengyel, TSM’s Daequan, KittyPlays, Castro1021, pokelawls, Avxry and League of Legends player for Cloud 9 ‘Sneaky’ to name few. It became clear that these were strikes imposed for playing music on stream, with rumors claiming it was songs from the artist “JuiceWRLD”, although it is unclear exactly if the strikes were limited to this one artist or multiple. dam, 24hr suspension on twitch for listening to juice wrld feelsveryweirdman ??????? — Jay Won (@sinatraa) June 22, 2018 Due to the ongoing Friday Fortnite tournament, host and organizer Daniel “KEEMSTAR” Keem was determined to have all participants unbanned and able to stream, and so took it upon himself to pursue the situation. KEEMSTAR explains that it was an automated system that had striked the channels, similarly to how it might strike a YouTube video or Soundcloud track that features copyrighted content. JuiceWRLD is signed to Interscope, so it would make sense that he was one of the artists which had perhaps been picked up by the automated system. Twitch has its own large library of music which is permitted to be played on stream, which you can find at music.twitch.tv/ KEEMSTAR however sent a direct message to Twitch, saying a direct line for appeals is needed, especially when large tournaments such as Friday Fortnite rely on Twitch streams. As of now, it looks like all the streamers who were subject to a ban now have their channels reinstated, with some thanking KEEMSTAR directly for intervening. OHHHHH SHITTTTTT THE HOMIE @KEEMSTAR GOT ME UNBANNED FROM TWITCH!!!!!! YO KEEM, YOU INVITED TO THE BIGGEST #WorldCup HOUSE VIEWING PARTY TOMORROW…….. KEEMSTAR gives PewDiePie hilarious advice to win YouTube battle with T-Series – Dexerto
KEEMSTAR gives PewDiePie hilarious advice to win YouTube battle with T-Series Drama Alert host Daniel ‘KEEMSTAR’ Keem has given current YouTube king Felix ‘PewDiePie’ Kjellberg some sage advice in order to defeat rival channel T-Series. PewDiePie has been in a race with Bollywood label T-Series for the most subscribers on the platform for the past three months, and now, their battle is coming to a head. While PewDiePie sits less than 100,000 subscribers away from ultimate defeat, KEEMSTAR has a fresh idea to keep the YouTube king on top of the heap – and it involves partnering with other major organizations. KEEMSTAR made his humorous suggestion in a Tweet on December 1, urging PewDiePie to join massive esports and entertainment organizations like the FaZe Clan and OpTic gaming. Read More: UPDATE: One PewDiePie fan hacked printers across the globe in an effort to boost his subscribers – While likely made in jest, KEEM’s statement could hold some weight, as both teams currently house some of the biggest names in competitive gaming and online entertainment. Partnering with the likes of Fortnite streamer FaZe Tfue or Call of Duty pro OpTic Scump could provide the YouTuber with an extra boost, just ahead of T-Series’ projected victory. Dear @pewdiepie , This is the best advice i have for you right now. TODAY you must join @FaZeClan , @OpTicGaming , @SidemenClothing , @Team10official #CloutGang #TheCrew #TeamCrafted #DramaAlertNewsTeam #costellars #TeamBreezy #Democrats #Republicans #BullyHunters @peta — KEEM  (@KEEMSTAR) December 1, 2018 KEEMSTAR went on to suggest other organizations, as well, such as YouTube group Team 10, The Clout Gang, and even The Sidemen. However, he also suggested less realistic ventures, such as joining with the American Republican party and even controversial animal rights group, PETA. While PewDiePie has yet to respond to KEEMSTAR’s advice, his entire fanbase is waiting with bated breath for a miracle to happen, as T-Series edges closer and closer to overtaking YouTube’s largest independent creator.

KEEMSTAR defends Shane Dawson amidst controversy for ‘sociopath’ docuseries – Dexerto
KEEMSTAR defends Shane Dawson amidst controversy for ‘sociopath’ docuseries Drama Alert host Daniel ‘KEEMSTAR’ Keem defended YouTuber Shane Dawson amidst criticism for his ongoing docuseries covering social media star Jake Paul. The series’ second episode, ‘The Dark Side of Jake Paul,’ underwent intense scrutiny due to its handling of the term ‘sociopath.’ Many felt it had painted those with Antisocial Personality Disorder as frightful or monstrous, due to the video’s ‘horror-film esque’ editing. KEEMSTAR took issue with the criticisms and posted a video to Twitter in defense of Dawson, whose intentions he felt audiences had completely misunderstood. “Did we watch the same documentary?” he asked. “Because Shane clearly says that when he was going to make this documentary… the thing he kept hearing was, ‘Jake Paul is a sociopath.’ So he went to go find out what exactly a sociopath is.” Omg people are so dumb! The @shanedawson & @jakepaul doc!!! pic.twitter.com/JLBzagZBcS — KEEM  (@KEEMSTAR) October 1, 2018 He stated that Shane was making an attempt at preserving Paul’s dignity by calling attention to the fact that audiences were previously labeling him as such, and wanted to get to the bottom of the issue. “Shane is coming out of the gate saying, ‘People are calling him a sociopath and have been calling him a sociopath, so I am going to find out what a sociopath is,’” he continued. KEEMSTAR’s latest comments on the series follow his callout of Logan Paul’s response video to the documentary, where KEEMSTAR noted that Paul did not defend his brother, but rather shifted the focus to himself, and explained the difference between ‘sociopaths’ and ‘psychopaths.’ The series’ fourth episode is set to air on Wednesday, October 3, and will delve further into the Paul family’s inner dynamics.

KEEMSTAR exposes online counseling service BetterHelp – Dexerto
KEEMSTAR exposes online counseling service BetterHelp Drama Alert host Daniel ‘KEEMSTAR’ Keem criticised BetterHelp, an online counseling portal, in his newest video – and revealed some disturbing allegations about the company. KEEMSTAR felt that YouTubers promoting the service were benefiting from their fans’ mental health, as it has been claimed that those partnered with the service make $100 per signup. “Wouldn’t that put that YouTuber in the business of making money off of mental health, and off of depression?” he asked. In addition, allegations have been made that the service could be a scam, as some reviews have stated that BetterHelp charged users for a full month of service, rather than the 7-day free trial that is generally advertised. Others have claimed that they never got the chance to speak with an actual counselor during the trial period. These counselors may even be uncertified, as other claims allege that anyone may sign up to work for the service without a background check. They have also invited me to their office to see and understand their team’s full process & procedures in person. And even though I trust and believe them, until I do that and they reword their TOS, which they say they will, I’ll be putting BH sponsor spots on a temp hold. (3/2) — Philip “Not Your Daddy” DeFranco (@PhillyD) October 4, 2018 Many high-profile YouTubers have partnered with BetterHelp, including the likes of Shane Dawson and Philip DeFranco. Since the release of KEEMSTAR’s video on the topic, DeFranco has come out with a statement via Twitter, which claims that he will conduct an investigation on the matter and is putting his relationship with BetterHelp on hold until the allegations are addressed. KEEMSTAR noted that the allegations against BetterHelp haven’t been officially verified, but it appears that the scare is great enough to make YouTubers rethink their partnership with the organization. KEEMSTAR likewise stated that he would follow up on the story in the next episode of Drama Alert, providing more information about the service and its shady practices.

KEEMSTAR claims RiceGum and Jake Paul promoted scam gambling website – Dexerto
KEEMSTAR claims RiceGum and Jake Paul promoted scam gambling website YouTuber Daniel ‘KEEMSTAR’ Keem has claimed that fellow YouTubers Bryan ‘RiceGum’ Le and Jake Paul are set to be embroiled in a controversy involving a scam gambling website. KEEMSTAR stated on December 30 that he had been offered $100,000 from a website in return for promoting them on his social channels, but turned the offer down. He also said that Jake Paul, younger brother of Logan Paul, had accepted the deal and had begun “promoting a gambling site where you pay money for a chance to win Hype Beast stuff.” KEEMSTAR has now claimed that the website is fraudulent, calling it a “scam”, and says that he didn’t know this until January 1. In addition to Jake Paul, RiceGum also promoted this same gambling website, and KEEMSTAR expects the pair to be “called out” in the coming days. I think most of the videos will be exposing the site for being a scam. Which I didn’t know until right now was the case. No amount of money would be worth me promoting a scam to you guys. Unlesss it’s like $10m then sorry I’m going to have to BetterHelp you all! — KEEM (@KEEMSTAR) January 2, 2019 The website is not a traditional gambling experience, offering ‘mystery boxes’ rather than cash. Users can pay a set amount of money to receive a box, which could include valuable items, such as name-brand clothing, electronics or even luxury vehicles. Both Jake Paul and RiceGum made a video supposedly showing them using the website and winning big. For example, RiceGum buys a $99 box of ‘hype shoes’, and opens shoes worth over $1,000, and can immediately sell them back for a profit. Commenters on both videos are critical of the YouTubers, with one user claiming that they were scammed, saying: “I tried this website and I completely got scammed out of a large amount of money.” Both RiceGum and Jake Paul have so far remained silent on the issue, while their videos promoting the site are approaching 2 million views.

KEEMSTAR claims to have new “dirt” on Alinity and Twitch staff – Dexerto
KEEMSTAR claims to have new “dirt” on Alinity and Twitch staff Twitter: KEEMSTAR / Instagram: AlinityDivineDrama Alert host Daniel ‘KEEMSTAR’ Keem claims to have found the “dirt” that streamer Alinity Divine allegedly has on Twitch staff, and says he will expose it to the public. Alinity came under intense scrutiny when viewers of her stream reported her to Twitch and animal protection services after clips emerged of her throwing the pet over her shoulder carelessly and feeding it vodka directly from her mouth. While viewers, fellow streamers, and even PETA have called for her to be banned from the site, her channel remains active, prompting some to believe that she must have something over Twitch staff due to the number of rules she has apparently broken, without receiving any punishment. Now, it appears that KEEMSTAR is lending credence to these claims, tweeting on July 24 that he has found what Alinity allegedly has over members of Twitch’s staff, and intends to make it public. The 37-year-old tweeted: “I know the dirt you have on these Twitch staff Alinity! You won’t have that dirt forever (because) I’m about to drop it! Dear Twitch staff hire your divorce attorneys now!” KEEMSTAR’s comments appear to insinuate that Alinity has knowledge of activities undertaken by Twitch staff that may have a negative effect on their marriages, but refrained from revealing what they could be at the time of writing. I know the dirt you have on these twitch staff @AlinityTwitch !!! You wont have that dirt forever! CUS IM ABOUT TO DROP IT! Dear Twitch Staff hire your divorce attorneys now! — KEEM  (@KEEMSTAR) July 24, 2019 The streamer was also forced to deny that she had written a comment on Discord that said she had spoken to Twitch and she wouldn’t be punished, but that those who had been “harassing” her may be, calling them “dubious” and saying that people sharing them were “pretty mean spirited.” Alinity’s position on Twitch remains uncertain, as does her ownership of her pets, with the Saskatoon Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) confirming that they are investigating the Colombian. While KEEMSTAR states that he plans on exposing the information he has on Alinity, the YouTuber gave no hints as to when or how he will do so. It’s likely that he will dedicate a full episode of Drama Alert to the situation.

KEEMSTAR calls out YouTube for terminating channel of player who killed feminist character in Red Dead Redemption 2 – Dexerto
KEEMSTAR calls out YouTube for terminating channel of player who killed feminist character in Red Dead Redemption 2 Drama Alert host Daniel ‘KEEMSTAR’ Keem has challenged YouTube for its actions against a creator who uploaded controversial gameplay footage from Rockstar’s latest title, Red Dead Redemption 2. The player in question, going by the handle ‘Shirrako,’ uploaded a series of videos where they murdered a suffragette in a variety of ways, from dropping her down a mineshaft to feeding her to an alligator. YouTube has allegedly terminated Shirrako’s channel due to mass outrage over the videos – which KEEMSTAR is taking issue with. “YouTube, we cannot take this stance,” KEEMSTAR implored. “We can’t say that what someone does in a video game is reflective of real life, somehow.” Dear @YouTubeGaming @TeamYouTube @Fwiz @SusanWojcicki pic.twitter.com/SaWDBnEfOP — KEEM  (@KEEMSTAR) November 7, 2018 He then went on to say that, using this logic, any uploaded footage of the game could be problematic, and claimed that any other games with killing could likewise fall under that net. “We need… YouTube to stick up and stand up for gamers as a whole, and gaming,” he continued. “Video games are not real life, and we need to send that message out there.” This isn’t the first controversy that RockStar has faced for its games, either: their famous Grand Theft Auto series has undergone massive speculation for allowing players to to murder prostitutes and steal cars, among other such in-game engagements. Thank you @Fwiz for being a defender of Gamers & gaming! The YouTubers channels that were terminated for killing a feminist in #RDR2 have been reinstated! We won! Thank You @YouTubeGaming for hearing us out! — KEEM  (@KEEMSTAR) November 7, 2018 YouTube has since reinstated Shirrako’s account, along with most of his videos – including one where the suffragette is fed to a group of pigs. Shirrako’s channel features a slew of crazy events from the game, most of which appear to draw in viewers due to their shocking nature.

KEEMSTAR calls Pokimane a “fake bitch” after she gets into it with him about online bullying – Dexerto
KEEMSTAR calls Pokimane a “fake bitch” after she gets into it with him about online bullying It was certainly a busy November 1st for popular YouTuber Daniel ‘KEEMSTAR’ Keem on social media, as he found himself in hot water with not one but two popular female content creators. After being called out by YouTuber ‘SSSNiperwolf’ for jokingly calling one her fans a virgin, KEEMSTAR later engaged in a war of words over Twitter with ‘Pokimane,’ who is one of the biggest streamers on Twitch. Pokimane disapproved of Keem’s approach towards “an innocent fan,” in spite of what feelings he may have about a certain content creator. “It’s fine to dislike another content creator, but you probably shouldn’t hate on innocent fans,” she tweeted. “Realize you have an audience that will also attack them. Do better Keem. For your information, joking about a fan ‘suiciding’ isn’t cute either.” KEEMSTAR took exception to her comments, and posted this video in response, in which he explains that his comments were made as a joke and essentially calls her “fake” for “overreacting.” Poki fired back with her own Twitter video, further clarifying her previous comments about not approving of Keem’s behavior and choice of words when speaking about fans of other content creators, and advising him to “do better.” Keem was not going to let things stop there however, as he responded with yet another video, this one a little more harsh and to the point. In this video, he essentially calls her out for “being on a pedestal” and “thinking she’s better than everyone else,” which he essentially chalks down to her being a “fake bitch.” Pokimane chose to respond with a tweet rather than another video: “Resorting to cheap shots for easy Twitter likes, a classic grown man’s move. I’ll just end by saying that the fact you deleted your Tweets is enough proof that even you think what you did was messed up, or you can’t even stand by your own opinion.” ah resorting to cheap shots for easy twitter likes, a classic grown man’s move. I’ll just end by saying that the fact you deleted your tweets is enough proof that even you think what you did was messed up (or you can’t even stand by your own opinion lol). — pokimane (@pokimanelol) November 2, 2018

KEEMSTAR calls out YouTube for deleting millions of videos that don’t break the rules – Dexerto
KEEMSTAR calls out YouTube for deleting millions of videos that don’t break the rules YouTuber Daniel ‘KEEMSTAR’ Keem, best known as the host of DramaAlert, has hit out at YouTube for deleting over 50 million videos in an effort to ‘clean up’ the site. YouTube has been in some hot water over the tail end of 2018, with users and creators angry at supposed video censorship and of course the much hated YouTube Rewind video. Earlier, KEEMSTAR called out the website for deleting a channel which uploaded a video of a suffragette being fed to a crocodile in Red Dead Redemption 2, and he is once again taking a stance against YouTube’s policies. Highlighting an article from Reuters, which reports that 58 million videos and 224 million comments were taken down for violating policy, KEEMSTAR suggested that not all of these videos actually breach any rules. More: Jimmy Kimmel asks parents to turn TV off while kids play Fortnite with predictably hilarious results – “It’s becoming clear that if you make any content that embarrasses YouTube, that makes YouTube look bad – you’re gone!” KEEMSTAR states, continuing, “a lot of these people, I don’t [they] are actually breaking the rules, but their content is ‘distasteful’.” On the other hand, Keem does highlight that the removal of such content will be good for creators with more regular and accepted content, as advertizing deals and revenue will increase as more advertizers view YouTube more favorably. YouTube has taken down over 58,000,000 videos! pic.twitter.com/VNpx1OK4rq — KEEM (@KEEMSTAR) December 18, 2018 However, it leaves many creators in limbo when the rules are not enforced evenly, and videos that don’t technically breach the rules are removed, sometimes resulting in channel terminations too. YouTubers will need to become ever more cautious with what content they upload, which could (some argue already has) lead to a sanitization of YouTube content, focusing on being advertizer friendly rather than being entertaining.

KEEMSTAR calls out YouTube for new policy on ‘abusive’ Super Chats – Dexerto
KEEMSTAR calls out YouTube for new policy on ‘abusive’ Super Chats YouTuber and Drama Alert host Daniel ‘KEEMSTAR’ Keem is calling out YouTube for its new policy on contributions from ‘abusive’ Super Chats. He posted a screenshot from an article detailing YouTube’s updated terms of service regarding its Super Chat system, which allows users to purchase a special, highlighted message that stays pinned to a video’s live chat for a limited period of time. The article explained that YouTube will now send the revenue from any ‘abusive’ commenters who purchase a Super Chat to a charity of their choosing, instead of splitting the amount between itself and the creator. “If a user is caught sending abusive Super Chats, the revenue received will be donated to charity instead of being split between YouTube and the channel’s creator,” the statement read. “If youtube deems your superchat to be offensive, it will be giving it to a charity instead of splitting it with the creator” Really @TeamYouTube ? Unreal! pic.twitter.com/FqmWGvJW4n — KEEM  (@KEEMSTAR) October 20, 2018 KEEMSTAR took issue with this development in his Tweet, which he called ‘unreal.’ Other users across Twitter are similarly up in arms about the change. “…it’s a major YIKES!,” one user commented. “YouTube is taking money from someone who wanted to support YOU #nobueno” Some YouTubers are calling for a boycott of the service, as suggested by controversial IRL streamer Ice Poseidon, who suggested that KEEMSTAR disable Super Chats altogether. “You could just disable Super Chat and force people to use streamlabs, easy fix to that and gives YouTube reason to fuck off with this change,” he replied. U could just disable superchat and force people to use streamlabs, ez fix to that and Gives YouTube reason to fuck off with this change lol — Ice_Poseidon (@REALIcePoseidon) October 20, 2018 Others are suggesting that the change may be an incentive for creators to control the behavior of their audience by placing a potential risk on their pocketbooks. Whatever the case, the change has largely been met with open dissent. Other major YouTubers on the platform have yet to speak on the development.

KEEMSTAR calls out Philip DeFranco, Shane Dawson, and more for ties to BetterHelp scam – Dexerto
KEEMSTAR calls out Philip DeFranco, Shane Dawson, and more for ties to BetterHelp scam Drama Alert host Daniel ‘KEEMSTAR’ Keem has called out a few major YouTubers for their ties to online counseling service BetterHelp, which has been claimed to be a scam. KEEMSTAR took aim at the service on the popular Baited! podcast, where he revealed some discrepancies in the site’s now-rewritten terms of service, stating that the site may share patient information as well as turn patients away should their situation escalate past a certain point of comfort. Additionally, he took issue with YouTubers promoting the service, who are allegedly receiving up to $200 per signup through their channel. “…major, major YouTubers promoting this service, getting 200 bucks for every depressed fan they can find,” KEEM stated. “… they spun this right into promoting this bullshit scam. …dude, fuck these people, this is such a betrayal of trust with their subscribers.” While KEEMSTAR’s comments have been echoed by fans on Twitter, YouTuber Philip DeFranco has since cut ties with the organization, and will be investigating the BetterHelp offices with a journalist. He likewise covered the site’s terms of service in a recent video, which revealed that they were written to “mitigate legal risks,” as stated by BetterHelp founder Alon Matas. In addition, Matas denied that anyone can sign up to the BetterHelp team without certification, and held that the company has a strict vetting process for their counselors. However, KEEMSTAR is still taking issue with DeFranco, and doesn’t believe that he actually uses the service as he says he does in his promotions. DeFranco’s investigation into the site has yet to be initiated, but those interested in the scandal can expect further clarification once it goes live.

KEEMSTAR calls out popular YouTuber Lilly Singh with critical Tweet – Dexerto
KEEMSTAR calls out popular YouTuber Lilly Singh with critical Tweet Drama Alert host Daniel ‘KEEMSTAR’ Keem is never one to shy away from sharing his opinion, even when it seemingly comes out of the blue. It seems as though no one is truly safe from KEEMSTAR’s aim these days, as he’s taken shots at Twitch streamer Imane ‘Pokimane’ Anys and YouTube siblings Olajide ‘KSI’ Olatunji and Deji Olatunji in a 24-hour span. Not content to let that be the extent of his callouts, however, KEEMSTAR also threw a bit of shade towards popular YouTuber Lilly Singh with a single Tweet on December 27. After taking a prolonged break from YouTube to focus on her mental health, Singh is back in the full swing of things but KEEMSTAR doesn’t seem to be too keen on the direction of her content since her return. Citing a “common issue” he’s seeing on YouTube of late, KEEMSTAR criticizes Singh for “trying [too] hard & becoming too plastic.” @IISuperwomanII you are trying to hard & becoming too plastic. You would have got more views if you did 12 collabs with smaller YouTubers. I just gave similar advice to someone in our space that’s going mainstream. It’s a common issue we have. — KEEM  (@KEEMSTAR) December 27, 2018 KEEMSTAR’s latest criticism of Singh looks to be centered around the Holiday video series she’s in the midst of making for her YouTube channel. Each day, she’s been teaming up with different celebrities such as Rita Ora, John Cena, Terry Crews, and Alicia Keys to make different comedic Christmas videos. It seems that KEEMSTAR feels as though the videos would have done better if they were collabs with other YouTubers rather than celebrities. At the time of writing, just two of the 10 videos posted has received over one million views. This isn’t the first time that KEEMSTAR has taken aim at Singh, either, as he previously called her out for sparking controversy around a series of Tweets about there being no women on Forbe’s list of highest-earning creators. Singh has yet to respond to KEEMSTAR’s statements and given their track record, it’s unlikely that she’ll ever issue a response of any kind.

KEEMSTAR calls out Jake Paul’s odd ‘breakup’ video – Dexerto
KEEMSTAR calls out Jake Paul’s odd ‘breakup’ video KEEMSTAR, Jake Paul – YouTubeDrama Alert host Daniel ‘KEEMSTAR’ Keem is taking issue with controversial YouTuber Jake Paul’s ‘breakup’ video, where he baited fans with a thumbnail showing himself and ex-girlfriend Erika Costell. However, instead of a video featuring a discussion between the two exes, the “mini Erika Costell” and “mini Jake Paul” (legal name Tydus Talbott) engaged in a scripted skit – which had some internet personalities scratching their head. KEEMSTAR called out the video during an episode of Drama Alert on January 18, where he called the video “creepy,” appearing to take issue with the toddlers discussing relatively mature issues in the name of a video. “The video… it’s two children pretend fighting with each other, talking about some adult stuff,” KEEMSTAR said of the video. “It’s, uh, well, really creepy. Why does he have little kids going through an adult breakup?” The video was met with mixed reactions throughout Paul’s fanbase, with some commenters calling Paul a “weirdo,” while others found the video “cute.” Paul has since uploaded yet another video featuring Tydus, with the premise of a breakup between the “mini Jake Paul” and his girlfriend. Jake Paul has been at the center of controversy, upon being dropped by his legal team in early January after being sued for a controversial prank video in 2017. Additionally, YouTube tightened its restrictions on challenge videos, likely in response to Paul’s ‘Bird Box Challenge’ video where he walked into traffic – and even drove – while blindfolded.

KEEMSTAR calls out Logan Paul following possible reveal of KSI’s secret girlfriend – Dexerto
KEEMSTAR calls out Logan Paul following possible reveal of KSI’s secret girlfriend KEEMSTAR, Twitter / Logan Paul, YouTubeDrama Alert’s Daniel ‘KEEMSTAR’ Keem has called out controversial YouTuber Logan Paul, after the social media star potentially revealed the identity of boxing opponent KSI’s possible girlfriend. Paul let slip the identity of the lucky lady during an episode of his ‘imPaulsive’ podcast on December 6, after YouTube rapper Quadeca claimed that KSI was hiding his newest relationship during a scathing diss track nearly two weeks prior. Paul alleged that KSI was seeing social media personality Nia Pickering, claiming that he spilled the beans to get back at his rival for objectifying his then-girlfriend Chloe Bennet during the weigh-in of their initial bout in August 2018. “KSI’s going through some shit and I’m about to add to it,” Paul stated. “I know about Nia Pickering. Nia Pickering, KSI’s girlfriend that he’s been hiding.” KEEMSTAR has since called out Paul for this possible leak, uploading a humorous video to Twitter where he wore a hat with the words, “I know about Nia Pickering.” While KSI has yet to speak out on the truth of Paul’s claims, Nia herself has appeared to make light of the situation, retweeting KEEM’s Tweet toward Logan and even reposting a joke Tweet with a screenshot of her Tinder profile. KSI himself teased a potential video concerning Logan Paul in a Tweet on December 20. With the plethora of YouTube diss tracks being released toward the end of the year, fans are speculating the project could mark an upcoming diss directed at Paul for the possible exposure (as well as claims that KSI breached the contract for their upcoming rematch).

KEEMSTAR calls out Deji’s fanbase following Twitter feud – Dexerto
KEEMSTAR calls out Deji’s fanbase following Twitter feud KEEMSTAR, Twitter / Deji, YouTubeDrama Alert host Daniel ‘KEEMSTAR’ Keem is calling out the fanbase of popular YouTuber Deji Olatunji, after the two exchanged verbal blows in a brief Twitter feud on January 1. KEEMSTAR uploaded a video to Twitter on January 2, where he addressed fans who were accusing him of milking Deji’s feud with his older brother, KSI, for views. KEEMSTAR decried these claims, stating that he covered the story on Drama Alert due to the demands of his own fanbase, and reminded those critical of his coverage that he regularly discusses YouTube drama on the show – including the likes of Jake Paul, among other popular YouTubers. “I’m a YouTuber, and people are subbing to my channel for content,” KEEM explained. “…they’re subbing to me because they want me to cover the story, so of course I’m going to continue to cover the story.” He went on to encourage those who enjoy his coverage of Deji to like his Tweet, in an effort to showcase fan interest. Thus far, his Tweet has over 7,900 likes as of January 2. KEEM’s latest callout follows his short spat with Deji the day prior, when Deji accused the host of directing hate toward his parents after they appeared in one of his videos, where they claimed that their home was being targeted and even vandalized by angry fans. KEEMSTAR cautioned Deji to delete his Tweet, warning him that he would “fail miserably” if he attempted to create a video over the subject. Deji has yet to respond to KEEM’s video.

KEEMSTAR Calls Out FouseyTube for Failing to Fulfil a Promise Made During ‘July 15th’ Documentary – Dexerto
KEEMSTAR Calls Out FouseyTube for Failing to Fulfil a Promise Made During ‘July 15th’ Documentary XposedIn KEEMSTAR’s documentary, YouTuber ‘FouseyTube’ vowed that if he wasn’t on stage with rapper J. Cole at a recent concert, he would quit YouTube and the internet generally, and never be heard from again. Unsurprisingly, neither of these things happened. Fousey did attend J. Cole’s show, but he was in the crowd like everyone else – not backstage, and certainly not on stage making a speech, as promised. If not familiar, popular YouTuber FouseyTube created an even called ‘Hate Dies, Love Arrives’, at which he claimed Drake would make an appearance (this too did not materialise), and the whole thing was shut down by police after a fake bomb threat was called in. As a result of the messy situation, Daniel “KEEMSTAR” Keem, host of YouTube show ‘Drama Alert’, made a lengthy documentary, essentially exposing FouseyTube for misleading fans as to the purpose of the show. It became clear that the whole event had been setup to promote a diss track Fousey was releasing, and Drake was certainly never going to make an appearance. In Keem’s documentary, Fousey then said J. Cole was on his radar next: “Next week I’m dropping one video and it’s a message to J. Cole, and if I am not on stage, on August 23rd or 24th, and before J. Cole comes out, I give the speech I intended to give on July 15th, OK? If am not on that stage and he’s by my side, and I have my dog ‘dollar’ – because my dog dollar passed away this week last year, so I’m doing this for him to fulfil the dream I promised him – If I am not on that stage, I promise you, to walk away from YouTube, my whole acting career, me doing what I want to do in life. I’ll live in isolation, and no one will hear from me ever again.” Yet again, Fousey failed to deliver on his promise, although he was in fact at the show. He made a YouTube video titled ‘How I met J. Cole’, but he simply retold the story of how he met him years ago at a radio show. KEEMSTAR then posted the above clip to Twitter, with the message: “Dear Fousey, you lied to the youth!”

KEEMSTAR blasts Lilly Singh after divisive Tweets spark controversy – Dexerto
KEEMSTAR blasts Lilly Singh after divisive Tweets spark controversy KEEMSTAR, Lilly Singh – YouTubePopular YouTuber Lilly Singh caught major flak after pointing out the disparity between male and female creators on Forbe’s list of Top 10 highest-earning YouTubers. Now, KEEMSTAR has weighed in on the issue – and his comments pulled no punches. Forbe’s list of highest-earning creators went live on December 3, featuring such names as Mark ‘Markiplier’ Fischbach, Logan Paul, and even child star RyanToysReview. However, Lilly Singh took issue with Forbe’s list, noting that there was not a single female creator featured in their lineup. “Two years ago, it was almost even between male and female, last year it was just me, and this year there are no females at all,” Singh wrote. “…I’m concerned the digital space is going to repeat the mistakes of ancient industries. Hope I’m wrong.” 2 years ago it was almost even between male & female, last year it was just me and this year there are no females at all. Something I predicted in my instagram caption last year. I’m concerned the digital space is going to repeat the mistakes of ancient industries. Hope I’m wrong https://t.co/VmoTMjywGK — Lilly Singh (@IISuperwomanII) December 5, 2018 While Singh has seen criticism from personalities across the internet due to this Tweet, Drama Alert host Daniel ‘KEEMSTAR’ Keem went in on the YouTuber in a savage segment during his show – even openly laughing at her comments on the matter. “This came across as Lilly Singh using sexism because she wasn’t on the list!” KEEMSTAR said of the debacle in a video on December 10. He went on to suggest that Sing’s Tweets were an attempt to revive her channel, rather than a statement about sexism. “…your career is kind of in a decline,” KEEM continued. “You can’t be on top forever. But try not to blame everyone and everything for these issues.” Singh likewise caught flak from YouTube’s top creator, Felix ‘PewDiePie’ Kjellberg, who went so far as to call her an “idiot” and a “crybaby” due to her Tweets on the matter.

KEEMSTAR brutally roasts Deji’s single, ‘No L’s’ KEEMSTAR, Twitter / Deji, YouTubePopular YouTuber Deji Olatunji released his single, ‘No L’s,’ on December 29 – and the song is already getting roasted by personalities across the internet, including Drama Alert’s KEEMSTAR. Daniel ‘KEEMSTAR’ Keem threw major shade toward the song in a Tweet on December 30, claiming that the YouTuber was “getting destroyed” in the comments section despite the track’s title, ‘No Ls.’ “Poor Deji is getting destroyed on his new song,” KEEMSTAR wrote. “‘We take no Ls.’” Poor @Deji is getting destroyed on his new song. “We take no Ls” pic.twitter.com/eU9lJwkneh — KEEM  (@KEEMSTAR) December 30, 2018 Keemstar attached a screenshot of the comments in question, which included such savage responses as, “It sounds 10 times better when you put it on mute,” and, “‘No Ls,’ huh? You lost to Jake Paul, you lost to JJ, and you lost to the Sidemen.” Deji’s video has a fairly disparate like-to-dislike ratio, as well, with over 53,000 likes and 17,000 dislikes as of December 30. While the dislikes may actually stem from his single, they could likewise be the result of his ongoing fight with KSI. The YouTuber is currently in the midst of a bitter feud with his older brother after leaking his bank records during a diss track on November 26. Since then, the two have gone back and forth in a heated series of Tweets, with their spat coming to a head on Christmas Eve. According to Tweets by KSI, Deji kicked him out of the house, threatening to call the police after claiming that he was “attacking” their mother in a now-deleted audio recording. https://twitter.com/KSIOlajidebt/status/1077445365194997760

Keemstar announces split from 20-year-old girlfriend after controversy – Dexerto
Keemstar announces split from 20-year-old girlfriend after controversy Instagram: keemstar‘Drama Alert’ host Keemstar announced his split from 20-year-old girlfriend Christine Youngman. The star said he is “currently single and accepting applications.” The relationship had been subject to scrutiny among fans and fellow YouTubers due to the pair’s 19 year age gap. On August 7, Keemstar addressed the “controversy.” He stated that the only people who had a “problem” with the age gap were his “enemies” and “unattractive females.” While some poked fun at the YouTuber’s relationship, others were quick to defend it. “She’s an adult, you’re an adult,” one Twitter user said. “Keemstar doesn’t date 20-year-olds,” said another. “20 year-olds date Keemstar.” The pair call it quits after going public in August Keemstar posted his life update on Instagram and Twitter: “Me and the girlfriend have broken up.” He insisted that “things happen” and “nothing is forever.” The star took the opportunity to extend an invitation out to his followers. “The good news is, I’m currently single,” he said. Keemstar concluded the video by saying he’s “accepting applications.” The YouTuber’s rivals have already weighed in on the situation. Ethan Klein questioned whether he’ll “call another fan meet up,” while Trisha Paytas reminded him “if you have to ask for ID, she’s too young for you bro.” If u have to ask for id, she too young for u bro https://t.co/XKgNzmHgJu — Trisha Paytas (@trishapaytas) August 24, 2021 After just 18 hours, Keemstar says he has already been sent relationship applications. He Tweeted a screenshot of a DM he received from a “22-year-old” fan who “cooks and cleans.” Due to the backlash over his previous relationship, he joked “the internet has to approve everyone I date.” He then asked whether “29 is too old” for him. Is 29 too old for me? She looks 24. Only reason I ask is because I forgot last time the internet has to approve everyone I date. — KEEM 🍿 (@KEEMSTAR) August 24, 2021 With all these applications rolling in, it remains to be seen whether Keemstar will finally find love within his fanbase.

KEEMSTAR blasts Corinna Kopf following Tfue breakup – “You just got done sucking clout” – Dexerto
KEEMSTAR blasts Corinna Kopf following Tfue breakup – “You just got done sucking clout” KEEMSTAR – Twitter / Corinna Kopf – InstagramYouTuber Daniel ‘KEEMSTAR‘ Keem is not happy with online celebrity Corinna Kopf in the least, following her public breakup with Fortnite star Turner ‘Tfue‘ Tenney. The internet was met with surprising news on July 3 when Corinna Kopf announced that she and Tfue had split up after several months of dating. In her social media post, Kopf revealed that she had “nothing but love for Turner” and that they still had a “very loving healthy relationship,” but the fact that they lived so far away from each other ultimately made things too difficult. However, there were many who greeted the news with doubt, one of them being KEEMSTAR, who had some very strong things to say about her the following day. It all started when Keem found and tweeted out a picture of Kopf hanging out with who appears to be an ex-boyfriend of her’s, an image that had been posted on Instagram the night before but quickly taken down. Corinna & her x boyfriend chilling again… this was deleted hella fast yesterday. Hmmmm pic.twitter.com/s1sN7kvenP — KEEM  (@KEEMSTAR) July 4, 2019 The image apparently caught a nerve, as Kopf responded to the YouTuber by telling him to “mind your own f*cking business,” claiming that she and her ex shared mutual friends. The back-and-forth between the two went up a notch when she began taking shots at Keem and his fanbase, calling them immature. “Clearly I’m addressing it and have nothing to hide,” she tweeted. “People can be friends with the ex you know. But you and your 12-year-old fanbase wouldn’t understand that.” it wasn’t my story so i have no fucking idea but clearly im addressing it & have nothing to hide. people can be friends with their ex you know, but you and your 12 year old fan base wouldn’t understand that :innocent: have a good day keem, maybe you should go spend time with your family https://t.co/VpXwlzYstG — Pouty Girl (@CorinnaKopf) July 4, 2019 Never one to be outdone in a war of words, especially on Twitter, KEEMSTAR came back with an even more fiery response, slamming Kopf for her dating choices and taking his own shots at her fanbase. “You just got done sucking a clout from Logan Paul and Tfue,” he fired back. “My 12-year-olds will beat up you nine-year-olds any day! 12 year old fan base?? You just got done sucking a clout from Logan Paul & Tfue … My 12 year olds will beat up your 9 year olds any day! Also The pathetic tactic of me being a Twitter it’s dumb you on twitter too clown! https://t.co/lO0uxEZeQu — KEEM  (@KEEMSTAR) July 4, 2019 Corinna is yet to reply to this latest jab by KEEMSTAR, and we’ll just have to wait and see if this battle of wits will continue, or if the two will waive a white flag and decide to put this behind them.

KEEMSTAR and Summit1g Hit Back at FouseyTube After Crazy Instagram Live Rant – Dexerto
KEEMSTAR and Summit1g Hit Back at FouseyTube After Crazy Instagram Live Rant Drama Alert host Daniel ‘Keemstar’ Keem had a hilarious response to YouTuber Yousef ‘FouseyTube’ Erakat’s Instagram Live rant. FouseyTube took to Instagram Live with a caller named Furoz, who had apparently followed the star since 2012. Fousey addressed the caller’s concerns over the failure of his ‘July 15th’ event, which abruptly ended following a bomb threat. FouseyTube defended his credibility in a 55 minute rant, where he appeared to call out Keemstar by referring to him as the ‘Devil.’ He then went on to say that other social media stars were nothing but actors, stating that he was trying to warn the populace of their farse. “The people they’re following are fake idols, false prophets. It’s all a lie, brother. I’m the guy in the industry trying to tell all of the fans it’s a lie.” Keemstar retaliated to his rant in a Twitter video. He watched the clip for a few seconds and laughed, then cut him off with a Clapperboard. “Responding to FouseyTube, take one: FouseyTube, you’re a fucking jooooke!” Twitch streamer Jaryd “Summit1g” Lazar had similar sentiments. He responded to the Tweet, claiming that Fousey himself was a fake. “This dude made his whole career off fake, I’ve just been doing me since day one.” “I am not afraid of you. Don’t think for a second that you scare me, ’cause you fucking don’t.” This isn’t the start of Keemstar and FouseyTube’s beef, either. Their most recent spat comes after Keemstar’s callout of the YouTuber over a failed promise during his July 15th event. Fousey stated that he would delete his YouTube channel if he didn’t get onstage during a J. Cole concert – so far, he still hasn’t acted on this promise. This likely spurred Fousey’s statements on the matter in the Instagram Live video. Where their beef will take them, no one knows – but FouseyTube’s next event, dubbed ‘September 15th,’ should shed some light on the issue.

KEEMSTAR announces return of Friday Fortnite tournaments, thanks to Banks and FaZe Clan – Dexerto
KEEMSTAR announces return of Friday Fortnite tournaments, thanks to Banks and FaZe Clan KEEMSTAR – YouTubeStar YouTuber Daniel ‘KEEMSTAR’ Keem has announced that his fan-favorite Friday Fortnite tournament series will be returning, thanks to FaZe Clan founder Ricky ‘Banks’ Banks. On May 20, KEEMSTAR put out a tweet notifying fans that his popular tournament series will be returning after nearly a year’s absence. To help fund the tournaments, Banks and FaZe Clan have offered to donate $60,000, which happens to be the very total they claim to have profited from their star pro Turner ‘Tfue’ Tenney, with whom they’re currently in a legal battle with after he filed a controversial lawsuit against FaZe. According to Keem’s tweet, there will be a total of three weekly Friday Fortnite tournaments, with the first one set to take place on Friday, May 31, although that date is always subject to change. As far as who will be running the events, Keem has confirmed that it will be UMG once again, as they were the hosts of all ten Friday Fortnite tournaments last year. #FridayFortnite starts May 31st! Thanks to @Banks & @FaZeClan giving the $60k they made from @TTfue back to the community! Also i know there is a lot of u that dont have ur Clout up so @UMGEvents is running a toury this Friday for Small streamers- UMG will post more details. pic.twitter.com/3PZ0u60Szs — KEEM  (@KEEMSTAR) May 21, 2019 What is Friday Fortnite? First introduced in May of 2018, Friday Fortnite is a double-elimination duos tournament that features the most prominent streamers, YouTubers, and pro players of the battle royale community. The format of the tournament is simple – the duos matched up in each round have to queue into two squads lobbies together, and the team that has the most eliminations after the two matches advances to the next round. Read More: Cloak reveals how Tfue’s lawsuit against FaZe Clan will affect their Fortnite World Cup Duo – Ironically, the team that won the most Friday Fortnite tournaments last year was the FaZe duo of Tfue and Cloakzy, who won it four times while no other player managed to win more than one. Seeing as how the prize money will technically be what FaZe profited from having Tfue on their org, it remains to be seen whether the superstar pro player will choose to participate in these three tournaments. The duo of Tfue and Cloak won Friday Fortnite on four different occasions, while no other player managed to win more than once. Why did Friday Fortnite stop? The tenth running of KEEMSTAR’s Friday Fortnite series on July 14, 2018 turned out to be the final one, as the YouTube became involved in a very public and drawn out feud with developers Epic Games. Starting from mid-July, Epic decided to run their weekly Summer Skirmish tournaments on Fridays, which Keem took as a personal insult, leading him to discontinue to fan-favorite series. While he’s since hinted at bringing back the series on numerous occasions, this is the first time since last summer that plans seemed to have worked out. Last updated: May 21 – 1:50 PM EST

KEEMSTAR and Adam22 Expose ImJaystation for Exploiting Mac Miller’s Death – Dexerto
KEEMSTAR and Adam22 Expose ImJaystation for Exploiting Mac Miller’s Death Massive YouTubers KEEMSTAR and Adam22 criticized YouTuber ImJaystation for creating a video supposedly contacting recently deceased rapper Mac Miller through the spirit realm. In the video, Jaystation creates a shrine for Miller and attempts to contact him via a ‘spirit box.’ Spirit boxes (or Electronic Voice Phenomena devices) are technologies commonly used in ghost hunting that use white noise and radio frequencies for spirits to speak through. Jaystation then connected the spirit box to a bluetooth speaker and asked Miller’s spirit to communicate with him. He captioned any forthcoming ‘answers’ from the machine, translating incomprehensible audio into statements such as, “Do you like me?” and, “They know you.” Read More: Why Is Lirik Suspended From Twitch? Everything We Know *UPDATED* Adam ‘Adam22’ Grandmaison, host of the No Jumper podcast, made a reaction video to the ghost hunting – and had nothing good to say about it. He criticized Jaystation for exploiting Miller’s death to get views, as well as scoffed at Jaystation’s fans who readily believed the spiritual communications. “This guy is addicted to making videos about celebrities who died, and doing the most disrespectful shit imaginable just to get some views. That is the saddest thing that I’ve ever seen, to be honest.” YouTuber KEEMSTAR, host of Drama Alert, had a similar reaction to the video. Jaystation wasn’t the only one guilty of exploiting Miller’s passing, either: KEEMSTAR likewise criticized Michael McCrudden, a YouTuber who regularly creates ‘After They Were Gone’ videos quickly following celebrity deaths. “That is fake. That is not real. That is literally to make money and get views and exploit someone’s death.” Mac Miller passed away on September 7 of a drug overdose at 26 years old.

KEEMSTAR and Banks Hit Out at YouTube for Ruining $10,000 ‘Mom’s Basement’ Episode – Dexerto
KEEMSTAR and Banks Hit Out at YouTube for Ruining $10,000 ‘Mom’s Basement’ Episode YouTubers Daniel ‘KEEMSTAR’ Keem and Ricky ‘Banks’ Banks have expressed their disappointment and frustration with YouTube after the latest episode of the pair’s “Mom’s Basement” talk show was demonetized. This has not only resulted in both content creators not making money from the video, but that it has under-performed due to not being promoted the way a regular monetized video would. Mom’s Basement was created by KEEMSTAR and Banks as a way of bringing the classic, television style talk show to YouTube, something which the video-sharing website highly encourages. With guests including Twitch streamer ‘Ninja,’ the show has proven to be quite successful, with its episodes averaging over 2.7 million views. However, their latest episode, which features popular YouTuber Shane Dawson, has fallen victim to YouTube’s demonetization. According to KEEMSTAR, a single episode can cost upwards of $10,000 to shoot and produce, and this ordeal could result in a heavy loss of investment. What happened with Moms Basement! And why me & @Banks are very upset with YouTube. pic.twitter.com/BGUjIKKRFZ — KEEM (@KEEMSTAR) July 26, 2018 Banks has taken his reaction a step further, as he tweeted out at Instagram and Facebook at possibly moving his content creation to their platforms and away from YouTube. @instagram @facebook Let’s talk boys.. I hate YouTube with a passion and I’m ready to never post a video there ever again. Let me know what’s up. — FaZe Banks (@Banks) July 26, 2018 It remains to be seen whether YouTube will work with KEEM and Banks to rectify the situation, and if not, it will be worth monitoring to see if the pair are willing to move their prized show elsewhere. – You can watch the latest episode of Mom’s Basement with Shane Dawson below:

KEEMSTAR Admits He Has Changed His Mind About KSI vs Logan Paul Result – Dexerto
KEEMSTAR Admits He Has Changed His Mind About KSI vs Logan Paul Result Drama Alert host and YouTube star Daniel ‘KEEMSTAR’ Keem has admitted that he’s changed his mind about who won the fights at the KSI vs Logan Paul event. In a recent episode of Drama Alert, Keem explains that he was sure that KSI should have been awarded the victory over his American adversary, Logan Paul, immediately after the epic showdown in the Manchester Arena. KEEMSTAR also felt that Deji’s team made a huge mistake throwing in the towel during his battle with Jake Paul, feeling that the Brit was in control. However, having re-watched the fights since returning home from England, Keem believes that his original judgement was wrong, and that both results were correct in the end. Regarding the Deji vs Jake Paul fight, the 36-year-old says: “I have to say, the towel needed to be thrown in. You can’t see everything when you’re front row, and congratulations Jake Paul, you did win.” In terms of the KSI vs Logan Paul result, Keem admitted that his emotions may have altered his immediate reaction to the result, but now believes the draw was the right decision: “It was a draw. It was a draw! It’s so different when you’re calm, at home. Both of these fighters looked really, really good. It was a draw. While KEEMSTAR may agree that a draw was a fair result, both KSI and Logan Paul have made it clear that they believe they won the main event clash on Saturday, August 25. While a rematch between the two has been agreed on, there is no official date set for the bout. It’s expected that they’ll square off again in early 2019.

Keemstar admits he reported Ethan Klein’s H3H3 videos to YouTube CEO – Dexerto
Keemstar admits he reported Ethan Klein’s H3H3 videos to YouTube CEO Instagram: keemstarKeemstar admitted on the August 18 episode of ‘Mom’s Basement’ that his actions resulted in Ethan Klein’s YouTube content being flagged, twice. Speaking to Trisha Paytas, the YouTube star said the situation wasn’t “balanced” and claimed that Ethan plays by “his own rules.” The episode repeatedly hit the headlines long before it became available to stream. The appearance of the former ‘Frenemies’ host on Keemstar’s podcast made waves within the online community. Even Ethan’s parents, Donna and Gary Klein, weighed in. While fans were accusing Trisha of being the “worst friend” to Ethan, the YouTuber stated they believed in “discussion, debate and changing people’s minds.” On August 18, just before the episode aired, Keemstar explained in a Tweet that he had “evil” plans. Keemstar said he didn’t “strike” H3H3 During the podcast, Trisha asked Keemstar whether he “filed a strike against Ethan’s channel.” The host emphasized that he didn’t, instead reporting the channel externally on two separate occasions. Keemstar explained that “six months ago” Ethan posted a video with a “Keemstar puppet doll.” He complained that if Ethan did the same to a “Gabbie Hanna puppet… your channel would go down!” After reporting it to his “YouTube rep,” the video became age-restricted. Though the YouTube star insisted “that should’ve been a flag.” He then went on to describe how Ethan “had someone calling in, pretending to be my girlfriend.” During this H3 episode, the “girlfriend” allegedly said “Keemstar’s got a little d**k… it doesn’t work.” While the YouTuber admitted he “wasn’t mad,” he still reported it to “Susan (Wojcicki), the CEO of YouTube.” The video was removed shortly afterward. View this post on Instagram Fans defended Ethan in the comments Several Instagram users expressed their disappointment in Trisha for entertaining the story, and rushed to Ethan’s defense. “The Keem’s girlfriend bit was obviously a joke,” one user commented. “Keem is a garbage liar,” said another. Trisha was also implicated in the comments, with one listener branding her a “serial traitor and a clout chaser.” Other users simply spammed the comments with snake emojis. The fallout from the podcast remains to be seen. In the meantime, you can catch up with the new episode on Spotify.

KEEMSTAR accuses Pokimane of abusing YouTube’s copyright system – Dexerto
KEEMSTAR accuses Pokimane of abusing YouTube’s copyright system KEEMSTAR, Pokimane – TwitterPopular YouTuber and Drama Alert host Daniel ‘KEEMSTAR’ Keem is calling out well-known Twitch streamer Imane ‘Pokimane’ Anys for allegedly abusing YouTube’s hotly-debated copyright strike system. KEEMSTAR published a Tweet on December 27, which he linked to a video created by YouTuber ‘Memology’ called ‘Pokimane: Gotta Strike Them All.’ “You are abusing the copyright system, Pokimane!” KEEM wrote. “DO BETTER!” You are abusing the copyright system @pokimanelol DO BETTER! https://t.co/w7wB0epvH9 — KEEM  (@KEEMSTAR) December 27, 2018 The video, uploaded on December 22, detailed the story of a YouTuber by the name of ‘Bowblax,’ who had received a copyright strike on his channel for using a clip from one of Pokimane’s Twitter videos. Memology went on to showcase a clip from Pokimane’s Twitch stream, where she vehemently denounced users for using her and other creators’ content in their videos. “Well, I’m so sorry that it takes you a lot of time to steal other people’s content,” she stated in response to one YouTuber. “I am so sorry. …I’ll be taking down some of your videos.” To further prove their point, Memology then featured a clip of Pokimane reacting to another YouTuber’s video on her stream, claiming that she was using creators’ content in a similar manner. While Pokimane has yet to speak out on the accusations, this isn’t the first time she and KEEMSTAR have butted heads; the two likewise went back and forth in a spat in early November (which, coincidentally, is what Bowblax’s copyrighted video was all about), after KEEM called out a fan of streamer ‘SSSniperwolf’ in a savage series of Tweets that ended up inciting a heated conversation on harassment and online bullying.

KEEMSTAR accuses popular YouTubers Markiplier & JackSepticEye of taking advantage of fans – Dexerto
KEEMSTAR accuses popular YouTubers Markiplier & JackSepticEye of taking advantage of fans Popular YouTubers Mark ‘Markiplier’ Fischbach and Seán ‘Jacksepticeye’ McLoughlin are catching flak for their latest clothing line, which Drama Alert host Daniel ‘KEEMSTAR’ Keem feels is taking advantage of their fans. Mark and Jack’s clothing line, dubbed ‘Cloak,’ features simplistic designs with neutral colors. The brand’s tagline, “hidden in plain sight,” hearkens back to Mark’s statement on the collection, where he claimed that he wanted the brand to be “something that everyone can identify [with].” However, it is that very simplicity that has the internet up in arms. Some fans allege that the clothing is too simplistic for the price point – and that a line truly made for “everyone” should be more affordable for the masses. Drama Alert’s KEEMSTAR spoke up on the issue in a Tweet on November 29, claiming that both Mark and Jack are taking advantage of their fans. “‘Cause Markiplier and Jacksepticeye, they are kinda taking advantage of their fans, selling plain black, grey clothes with little to no artwork,” he wrote. “’We don’t want to put our logo in your face.’ Fans see it as: We don’t want to have [an] overhead cost, and sell you this HIGH PRICED bs!” Cus @markiplier & @Jack_Septic_Eye they are kinda taking advantage of their fans selling plain black , grey clothes with little to no art work “”We dont want to put are logo in your face”” fans see it as We don’t want to have overhead cost & sell u this HIGH PRICED bs! https://t.co/RYx5fApd97 — KEEM  (@KEEMSTAR) November 29, 2018 Jacksepticeye stated that the brand is specifically geared toward gamers, much in the style of other specialty brands like LuLuLemon and Nike. KEEMSTAR Addresses FouseyTUBE Fans After Being Accused of Profiting From his ‘Disaster’ Live Show – Dexerto
KEEMSTAR Addresses FouseyTUBE Fans After Being Accused of Profiting From his ‘Disaster’ Live Show YouTube/DramaAlertAfter the ‘Hate Dies, Love Arrives’ show hosted by FouseyTUBE was cut short due to a bomb scare, KEEMSTAR has addressed accusations that he attempted to profit from the ‘disaster’ by making a documentary. YouTuber FouseyTUBE had sold out tickets for his live show, but the event was cancelled after a bomb threat was reported, forcing around 1,500 people to evacuate the venue. Fellow YouTuber and host of ‘Drama Alert’, Daniel “KEEMSTAR” Keem was one of the attendees, and was making what he calls a ‘documentary’, which FouseyTUBE had approved of and was apparently ‘excited’ about it. But, once things went south, a large contingent of FouseyTUBE fans began to level accusations at KEEMSTAR, suggesting not only that he was attempting to profit from the disaster, but that he ‘wanted it to fail’. KEEMSTAR quickly responded to these fans, assuring them that while yes he was there to work and make a documentary, he never wished the event to fail, despite believing that it would. I may have thought he was going to Fail. That’s true. But I did not “Want” him to fail! I personally went on stage @ his event spreading love! I personally invited many YouTubers & companies to get involved. They decided to back out & the reason will be shown in the documentary! https://t.co/sP2TKFIXs5 — KEEM (@KEEMSTAR) July 16, 2018 Admittedly, the documentary does not sound like it will paint FouseyTUBE in the best light, as it’s working title is ‘FouseyCon – July 16 – 17 – You Lie 18th’, but KEEMSTAR says the purpose of the documentary is to show reality. “If FouseyTUBE’s event was a giant success, then the documentary would capture that – ‘FouseyTUBE’s back’. But, if FouseyTUBE was lying and manipulating, and his event was just a complete fail, then the documentary is going to show that. Regardless, that’s the whole point of news, the whole point of a documentary.” He also went on to say that he was not the only YouTuber filming and documenting the event, and reaffirmed that FouseyTUBE was happy for him to produce the documentary, reportedly saying “I love it”. Every YouTuber there filmed & made vlogs with ads on them? Why am i a “user” if i do the same? Also again i cant stress this enough I told fousey i was filming this documentary & was told by him “I love it” . So i had his blessing till the event failed then im a “USER” LMFAO! https://t.co/bAy1Aom48E — KEEM (@KEEMSTAR) July 16, 2018 KEEMSTAR has now released the trailer for the documentary on the Drama Alert channel, which shows snippets of what to expect from the cancelled event, with commentary from other popular YouTubers.

KEEMSTAR accuses H3H3 of faking depression to cover up real reason they stopped making videos – Dexerto
KEEMSTAR accuses H3H3 of faking depression to cover up real reason they stopped making videos YouTuber KEEMSTAR has reacted to the recent news that H3H3 Productions’ break from uploading videos was down to suffering from depression – but KEEM isn’t convinced this is true. H3H3 Productions, which is the name for the YouTube channel and podcast ran by Ethan Klein and partner Hila, stopped uploading videos entirely to their channel back in June 2018. Out of the blue, they uploaded a video which was essentially just an advert for their new mobile game, which earned them plenty of criticizm, as it was their first video in months – with no explanation for the disappearance. In response to this criticizm, Ethan and Hila made an update video, in which they explain that issues with Ethan’s depression and anxiety were the main causes for the lack of uploads, as well as Hila losing her father to cancer. However this confused some fans, as during the three months of no uploads, the pair had still been doing their H3H3 podcast regularly, with no indication of these behind the scenes issues. And KEEMSTAR has now accused H3H3 of using problems with depression as a cover for their true motivation – money. KEEMSTAR says that the podcast makes them much more money than uploading regular videos, so why would they bother with the latter. KEEMSTAR explains that “this comes down to money. The podcast that they do makes a lot of money, the sponsorships they do through the podcast that is a lot of money. The videos that they make on YouTube, don’t make that much money.” He accuses Ethan and Hila Klein of “being out to make a bunch of money”, which he says there is nothing wrong with, but thinks it is disingenuous to claim otherwise. He closes by saying “guys, it’s money – not mental health – money.” At the time of writing, neither Ethan or Hila have responded to KEEMSTAR’s accusations.

KEEMSTAR accuses Logan Paul of seeking views after shocking speech at Flat Earth Conference – Dexerto
KEEMSTAR accuses Logan Paul of seeking views after shocking speech at Flat Earth Conference Conor McCormick, TwitterControversial YouTuber and social media star Logan Paul has admitted to being a flat earther, as revealed by a recording of his speech during the 2018 Flat Earth International Conference in Denver, Colorado on November 15. A video of Paul’s speech was brought to light by YouTuber and Drama Alert host Daniel ‘KEEMSTAR’ Keem, who has his own theories as to why Paul would hold these beliefs. While he surmised that Paul could merely be trolling, he likewise entertained the possibility that Paul might be trying to gain more notoriety, as his last vlog only received a little over one million views. While no theory has yet been proven, Paul’s speech is turning heads across the internet. During his address, Paul admitted that his friend and vlog partner Mike ‘Hey Big Mike’ Majlak had been the “catalyst” for his newfound beliefs, thanking him to a round of applause from the audience. Logan went on to call himself a “man of truth,” who “hates being ignorant,” claiming that the moon “emits its own light” – and even referred to non-flat earthers as “globeheads.” He finished his segment by “coming out of the flat earth closet,” dropping his microphone to thunderous cheers. While Paul has yet to make a public statement on the matter, others across the internet are taking issue with his speech, largely due to his relatively young and impressionable audience.

KEEMSTAR accuses controversial YouTuber Marina Joyce of drug abuse Drama Alert host Daniel ‘KEEMSTAR’ Keem has gotten into it with controversial YouTuber Marina Joyce, who underwent massive speculation in 2016 for her increasingly disturbing videos. Joyce uploaded a video on November 2 addressed to her ‘haters,’ where she appeared to admit that she had actually been in danger during the initial scandal surrounding her videos, during which many fans had speculated that she was being abused. “I was endangered in a lot of different ways, and that was the truth,” she stated. “…I was actually in danger, and I went through a lot of physical pain.” However, her explanation didn’t quite clear up what had actually happened, and KEEMSTAR took issue with this. He even speculated that Marina is potentially on drugs, as claimed in several Tweets on the matter and even in a statement to Newsweek. “I suggest that she’s on drugs,” KEEMSTAR said to the outlet. “I don’t think she has a right to be upset with anyone speculating when she won’t provide a reasonable explanation.” The two have since gone back and forth with one another in a series of Twitter replies, where Marina (or a spokesperson for her) claimed that she is ‘half-blind.’ Marina then went on to explain that she had spent two months in hospitalized care due to this issue, which left her ‘traumatized.’ However, that explanation didn’t satisfy KEEM either, who posted a Google search that queried, “Can drugs make you blind?” Marina has since insinuated that she intends to sue KEEMSTAR for ‘public disclosure of private facts,’ about which KEEMSTAR appeared to be indifferent.

Kayyybearxo hits back at racist criticisms of her cosplays – Dexerto
Kayyybearxo hits back at racist criticisms of her cosplays Kayyybearxo, TwitterPopular cosplayer Kayyybearxo has gained wide appeal for both her faithful and risque takes on popular characters from anime and video games – but one of her costumes is making the rounds on social media for a negative reason. Kayyybear put together a cosplay of Resident Evil 3’s Jill Valentine in late March, which earned her ample praise on Facebook and Twitter; however, Reddit was less than pleased with her work, with users posting a slew of negative comments about her race and costuming skills. “She can’t cosplay [a] white character,” one user wrote of the cosplay. “She should stick to her African characters.” “Some cosplays look incredible,” another said. “This one looks like it took 2 minutes.” Kayyybear’s positive response to online harassment Kayyybear took note of the harassment and created a collage of some of the more hateful comments about her cosplay, compiling them in a lengthy Facebook post where she admitted that many of her cosplays get locked on Reddit due to “extensive” racism. https://www.facebook.com/1616009151988502/posts/2324195287836548?sfns=mo“It’s a shitty feeling when another person that’s not black can post the same cosplay, in the same outfit, and be met with praise and compliments,” Kayyybear wrote. “However, my version is wrong and lazy (simply because of my skin color, NOT because it’s actually inaccurate).” She went on to encourage other cosplayers of color to embrace their hobby despite potential backlash, prompting an abundance of fans to post their own cosplays and experiences in response to her story. https://www.facebook.com/1616009151988502/posts/2324195287836548?sfns=mo Backlash from lewding Lifeline This isn’t the first time Kayyybear has hit back at online harassment, either; the cosplayer lashed out at critics angered over her risque take on Apex Legends’ Lifeline in early March, who accused her of merely “lewding” the character for money on Patreon, among other insults. “People always complain when I post lewds, saying, ‘This isn’t even cosplay anymore,’” Kayyybear Tweeted of the issue. “Just for the record, I do the full cosplay of a character every time I do a lewd version.” And even if I didn’t, it wouldn’t matter because you can cosplay the way YOU want to! Be it full armor, closet cosplay, lewd cosplay. It’s all cosplay and it’s all fun!️ — kay bear  (@kayyybearxo) March 6, 2019 Despite the hate, Kayyybear’s Lifeline costume earned her praise across the internet, with even Respawn’s CEO Vince Zampella giving kudos to the cosplayer for her impressive likeness to the character.

Kayne West’s Donda 2 livestream shakes up a storm despite technical issues – Dexerto
Kayne West’s Donda 2 livestream shakes up a storm despite technical issues Good MusicKanye West has taken his chaotic first steps into the world of livestreaming with a listening party and live performance of new album ‘Donda 2’. Seen by millions worldwide, the unique concert was well-hyped — and delivered on it (for the most part). Ye’s unveiling of Donda 2 was a one-of-a-kind live concert and online experience. A mix of stunning visuals, exceptional music, coupled with some audio issues and the strangest spectacles you could imagine. Since this live show was announced earlier in February on Kanye’s Instagram, fans have been losing their minds theorizing about how this live show would go down. Despite being marred by audio issues and scattered with controversial figures, it’s clear that Donda 2’s had the release impact that Kanye was hoping for. Initially only available from stemplayer.com, the ‘Donda 2 Experience’ was (and at the time of writing still is) available to be watched on Twitch and YouTube. According to Twitch Tracker, West’s Donda 2 debut stream of the event reached a peak of 194,748 viewers — topping Daft Punk’s 172k on the same day. YouTube videos of the experience have been viewed well over half a million times, and rising. https://twitter.com/stemplayer/status/1496237157773631501 The live stream itself was a mammoth four-hour experience. Beginning with a two and a half hour long waiting room featuring a heartbeat. Once the show itself began a huge water arena featuring a stylized version of Kanye’s childhood home was set ablaze. From the intense display kicking proceedings off the show continued to get wilder with cameo’s, unreleased tracks and visual delights throughout. Fans were treated to the Donda experience over one and a half hours of intermittent music including premieres of tracks such as ‘Flowers’, ‘Louis Bags’ (Feat. Jack Harlow) and ‘Kid We Did It’ (Feat. Kid Keem and Migos) with Jack Harlow and Migos joining Kanye’s nostaglic childhood meets hell stage for their respective verses. Ye also took the time to play a sample of ex-partner Kim Kardashian’s SNL monologue from October of last year calling him “the best rapper of all time” and the “richest Black man in America”. With the “Donda 2 hype train” in full swing, it’s clear that the event has stirred the eternal pot of interest in Kanye’s 11th studio album. It wasn’t without issues. Marred with audio problems, fans have already shared videos of how they imagine Kanye dealt with the production team once he got off stage. After declaring that the album would only be available to listen to on the Stem Player, sales of the player have been announced to crack the $1.2 million mark. He’s since doubled down on his opinions surround his choice to sell the album exclusively through his own platform stating: “Some say I’m the only one who can make this change. So as the leading innovator in music of the past 20 years, I’m putting my own work on the line to change it.”

Kay reveals how Juice WRLD nearly became a member of FaZe Banks’ Clout House – Dexerto
Kay reveals how Juice WRLD nearly became a member of FaZe Banks’ Clout House YouTube: JuiceWRLD/FaZe BanksAmerican rapper and songwriting genius Jarad ‘Juice WRLD’ Higgins very nearly lived in Clout House alongside FaZe Clan members Banks and Kay before he rose to fame with hits such as ‘Lucid Dreams’ and ‘Lean wit Me.’ Multi-million dollar Hollywood Hills mansion ‘Clout House’ was once home to some of the most famous YouTubers and influencers taking the platform by storm. The house boasted huge names who set up shop in the mansion, such as Alissa Violet, RiceGum, FaZe Kay, and FaZe Banks, who originally formed the unit. There was somewhat of a relaunch of the Clout House in 2021, with some occasional drama courtesy of the likes of Rice and Twitch streamer Adin Ross. However, former FaZe member Kay has revealed that there was another famous face who was nearly his housemate — singer and rapper Juice WRLD. Juice WRLD almost lived in Clout House In a YouTube video posted on May 7, Kay confirmed the rumor that Juice WRLD wanted to move into the mansion before he shot to fame. “There was a time in the Clout House where every weekend […] all these rappers would be coming over to the house and just party,” Kay claimed. “One of the rappers called Juice WRLD wanted to move into the house. “He spoke to Banks and I’m pretty sure they agreed on it. It never happened and everyone just kind of forgot about it and then Juice WRLD just blew up.” In the end, it wouldn’t have worked out in the end for the group as Clout House later fell apart with the housemates all going their separate ways. Following on from his exchange with the FaZe Clan members, Juice WRLD went to conquer the pop world by storm with his hits ‘Lucid Dreams’ and ‘All Girls Are The Same’ before he sadly passed away in December 2019. However, Juice WRLD’s legacy continues to live on. Since his death, there have been two posthumously released albums by the singer’s family. The second of which, Fighting Demons, featured a performance with Justin Bieber as well as his hit single ‘Sometimes.’

Kay says goodbye to FaZe Clan in YouTube return following crypto scandal – Dexerto
Kay says goodbye to FaZe Clan in YouTube return following crypto scandal YouTube: KayYouTuber Frazier ‘Kay’ Khattri, formerly known as FaZe Kay as a long-standing member of the popular esports and content organization, has made his return to YouTube after a few months off. In July, FaZe Clan announced that they had removed Kay from the org and suspended his little brother Jarvis, alongside both Teeqo and Nikan. While Teeqo has since been reinstated to the organization, we’ve not heard much from the other three. While Jarvis and Nikan have been almost radio silent, Kay has put out several videos attempting to prove his innocence in the Save the Kids scandal. Now, Kay has made his return to YouTube, in a video that seems to indirectly answer many questions that fans may have. Titled “Goodbye FaZe Kay | A New Beginning,” any idea that he might end up rejoining the organization with whom he spent most of his adult life appears to be dead in the water. Instead, Kay casts a much calmer figure as he works out with Jarvis, hangs out with old school friends and gifts a new gaming PC to someone who featured in one of his old YouTube videos. He says that he’s “really excited for some of the videos we have planned,” adding that it’s “just going to be me, for real. None of the fakeness. None of that dude screaming down the camera.” The video mentions a lot of plans for content alongside brother Jarvis, which could point to him also saying goodbye to FaZe Clan on a permanent basis. It’s unlikely this is the end of the discussion surrounding the Save the Kids scandal, especially with FaZe co-owner Banks even suggesting that jail time could be on the cards, but Kay is clearly motivated to distance himself and get his content going once again. Whether he addresses this further in a later video remains to be seen.

Katy Perry turned down Billie Eilish collab over “boring” music – Dexerto
Katy Perry turned down Billie Eilish collab over “boring” music INSTAGRAM: katyperry/Wikimedia: Lars CrommelinckKaty Perry has revealed that she turned down a collaboration with Billie Eilish, because she thought her music was “boring.” She regrets it now. The ‘Dark Horse’ singer admitted that one of her biggest career mistakes was declining to work with the ‘Bad Guy’ hitmaker. In 2016, Katy was told by one of her friends to check Billie out, but she was less than impressed with the songstress at the time. Speaking at 102.7 Kiis FM event, which was hosted in Los Angeles, she opened up about the massive fail. Katy told the audience that her friend’s email read: “Hey, check out this new artist. I’d really like us to work with her because she was working with me for Unsub [Records].” “It was a song called Ocean Eyes, and it was just a blonde girl, and I was like, ‘Meh, boring,’” she said. “Big mistake, huge mistake,” she added, before joking: “Don’t let this hit the internet.” ‘Ocean Eyes,’ which was written and produced by Billie’s older brother, Finneas O’Connell in 2016, went on to become her breakout hit after it was released when she was just 13. The 21-year-old has since become one of the biggest names in the industry, winning seven Grammy Awards, a Golden Globe Award, and an Oscar for Best Original Song. Some fans said that they were happy Katy turned down the collab, because it gave Billie the chance to develop her music on her own. “Katy would’ve made Billie a little too pop so she was better off lol,” one wrote. “I’m glad that collab didn’t happen because it allowed Billie to build her own identity and sound as an artist,” another one added. There are no hard feelings between the two singer-songwriters, and they have since shared several wholesome social media exchanges.

Kay blames ex-FaZe employee for SaveTheKids scandal: “Trusting him was a mistake” – Dexerto
Kay blames ex-FaZe employee for SaveTheKids scandal: “Trusting him was a mistake” YouTube: KayFrazier ‘Kay’ Khattri revealed his side of the story behind the SaveTheKids crypto scandal, claiming former FaZe Head of Content, Sam Pepper, orchestrated the scam. FaZe Clan dropped Kay over his alleged involvement in the controversial SaveTheKids crypto pump and dump scam. He admitted it was “irresponsible” for him to promote cryptocurrencies without knowing more, but urged fans to not believe everything they’re hearing. Now, after confirming his initial response to the scandal was a “script made by lawyers” to save face while they gathered evidence, he shared his thoughts on the situation and blamed it all on one person, Sam Pepper. I just uploaded what really happened with save the kids and all the drama. Sorry it’s taken me so long to come out and speak. I had a lot to say. — Kay (@FrazierKay) August 13, 2021 “I would never, in a million years, purposefully or intentionally try to harm, take advantage, or scam anybody,” he said. “I am no crypto mastermind. I am a content creator who trusted the wrong people, and it’s led to this disaster.” The person he’s referring to is Sam Pepper, who Kay names as FaZe Clan’s former Head of Content. Kay claims Pepper “introduced” him to the world of cryptocurrency. “Without him, I wouldn’t be in this position I am in today, and I would not be making this video,” he said. “I trusted [him] to give legitimate advice and make proper decisions because he presented himself this whole time as an expert. I, in no way, thought he would ever f**k me over and his so-called friends, my family, and most importantly, all of my fans.” Kay said that Sam made “all of the decisions,” including the token design and art, the website, the pre-sale, and everything else that led to the current predicament. He admitted that trusting him was a “massive mistake.” Despite maintaining his innocence and insisting he was “tricked,” Kay is committed to paying as many people back as possible out of his own pocket. “I feel awful that this ever happened, and I just want to do everything I can to fix it.” Kay reportedly lost $37,000 on the project, and insisted that no former FaZe members profited from it either.

Katy Perry reveals her mom fell for AI-made 2024 Met Gala photo – Dexerto
Katy Perry reveals her mom fell for AI-made 2024 Met Gala photo Instagram: KatyPerryKaty Perry has gone viral after an AI-made photo of her attending the Met Gala even managed to confuse her own mother. The Met Gala 2024 has brought with it some bold outfits and standout looks. However, well-known stars such as Katy Perry, Rhianna, and others have been making waves for their lack of attendance, despite AI photos of Perry circulating online. In light of this, Perry issued a new post on Instagram to clear up any confusion about whether or not she would be attending the iconic fashion event. As well as captioning the post, “couldn’t make it to the MET, had to work”, the singer and pop icon also shared a private message exchange between her and her mother. The messages revealed that these AI photos had even managed to fool her own family. In the screenshot of their conversation, Katy Perry reveals her mom texted her daughter, “I didn’t know you went to the Met,” before adding that her daughter looks “like a Rose parade, you are your own float lol.” Perry’s mother then shared a photo of what she thought was a real image of her daughter, yet Katy was quick to reply and let her mother know that it was not real. “Lol mom the AI got you too, BEWARE!” The main deep fake to have gone viral of Katy Perry has already amassed more than 10 million views on X (formerly known as Twitter) and over 300,000 likes. However, the post has now been flagged as being a “fake” image after blowing up online. Therefore, it’s safe to say Katy’s own mother wasn’t the only one to fall for the AI-generated content. Katy Perry isn’t the only celebrity who has been superimposed into photos at the 2024 Met Gala. Rhianna is yet another star that AI deep fakes have focused on, as well as Zendaya who — unlike Perry and Rhianna — actually did attend this year’s event.

Katerino finally addresses CallMeCarson cheating scandal – Dexerto
Katerino finally addresses CallMeCarson cheating scandal Katerino, YouTubePopular YouTuber ‘CallMeCarson’ appeared to confirm rumors that girlfriend ‘Katerino’ had cheated on him with friend ‘Fitz’ — and Katerino herself has finally come out with the full story. CallMeCarson notably stepped back from YouTube in early March, admitting in a series of Tweets that he was taking an indefinite hiatus from content creation due to “personal events” and “mental health.” Nearly a month later, Carson seemed to confirm that these “personal events” included relationship problems with his girlfriend, Twitch streamer ‘Katerino,’ who had allegedly cheated on him with friend and fellow YouTuber ‘Fitz.’ For those concerned about me, I recently started antidepressants and have been on a whirlwind of emotion and pain in my personal life. I recently started seeing a counselor a few weeks ago. Right now I’m in no way mature enough to handle the responsibility of this job. — Carson (@CallMeCarsonYT) March 12, 2020 After a long period of silence from both Katerino and Fitz, Carson’s ex-girlfriend has since come out with her own explanation of events, admitting that she had cheated on Carson with Fitz as was speculated by fans. In her short video on the topic, uploaded on April 14, Katerino explained that she and Carson had initially gotten involved with each other while she was dating her former boyfriend, claiming that she had “led him on” although clarifying that she and Carson were not romantic. “I ignored very conflicting feelings and thoughts, and I was very lost and confused,” the streamer said. “I didn’t know what I wanted or what was important to me. This was when I got involved with Fitz.” She went on to explain that she’d “handled things similarly” in regards to her relationship with Fitz, and apologized to viewers for her actions in wake of the viral drama that has shaken up Carson’s fanbase. “I hurt both him and Carson, and their friendship, as well,” she continued. “Carson and I streamed together, and the community saw us as a couple, which we encouraged. It felt really good to have a positive impact on so many people.” Katerino also admitted that she is currently in therapy for what she called “depersonalization,” and is taking time away from streaming in an effort to live her life more “openly and honestly.” Carson’s fans have since expressed their disappointment in Katerino’s behavior, although Carson has made it clear that he does not want viewers to “witch hunt” neither she nor Fitz over a matter that has blown a massive hole in both his personal and public life.

Katie Noel responds to backlash over viral country song ‘Southern’ – Dexerto
Katie Noel responds to backlash over viral country song ‘Southern’ YouTube: Katie NoelMusic artist and influencer Katie Noel is hitting back at criticism of her country song, ‘Southern,’ which some commenters are calling “worse than Friday.” 23-year-old Katie Noel is a music artist and influencer, boasting over five million likes on TikTok and garnering over 300,000 followers on Instagram. While the singer’s discography features two albums of peppy pop-country songs, her latest single is coming under fire from listeners just five days after being released. On February 17, Noel dropped her newest song, ‘Southern.’ The track itself is similar to Blake Shelton’s ‘Boys ‘Round Here,’ with the singer celebrating the country lifestyle in a rap-style before launching into a melody. Despite other songs like it existing in pop culture, viewers are expressing their displeasure with ‘Southern,’ specifically, with many comparing it to Rebecca Black’s ‘Friday’ from 11 years ago. “We are still recovering from Friday by Rebecca Black and you do this to us,” one user wrote. “Ayooooo, don’t release this,” another begged. “Is this an SNL skit?” another asked. Noel’s clip advertising the music video for her song has racked up over 1.6 million views on TikTok as a result of the criticism. That’s not all; it’s even gone viral on Twitter, with platforms like Barstool and even comedian Theo Von blasting the track to the tune of millions of views — but Noel knows how to hang with the best of them. Katie Noel hits back at criticism over viral ‘Southern’ video The singer responded to the backlash against her song in a follow-up video on February 22, where she conducted a mock news segment about the situation using a spray bottle as a microphone. “This is tasteless b*tch reporting live from Southern Kentucky,” she joked. “Overnight sensation Katie Noel has [gone] viral with her song, ‘Southern.’ And we ask ourselves: ‘What the actual f*ck is that?’” She then asked ‘Barstool’ how they felt about the situation before panning over to an actual barstool, then launched into an imitation of Whiskey Riff’s Brady Cox and Theo Von. It looks like Noel’s response video is getting much the same response as her song, but it’s clear that she’s willing to handle the criticism — and even throw a little back at her critics, too.

Karl Jobst slams The Completionist’s “sickening” apology and dares him to sue – Dexerto
Karl Jobst slams The Completionist’s “sickening” apology and dares him to sue YouTube: Karl JobstKarl Jobst slammed The Completionist’s apology video in a scathing 28-minute upload, daring the YouTuber to sue him after his threat of legal action. In late November, YouTubers Karl Jobst and SomeOrdinaryGamers’ Mutahar accused the charity of fellow creator Jirard ‘The Completionist’ Khalil of withholding funds and failing to report donations. The duo claimed that The Completionist’s Open Hand Foundation withheld over $600,000 in donations, which were meant to aid charitable organizations researching dementia. Khalil later uploaded a video responding to these allegations, wherein the YouTuber notably appeared to threaten legal action against Mutahar and Jobst over the ordeal. “Due to the overwhelming amount of people who have been instructed to file complaints to the IRS and Department of Justice, we understand an audit may be coming,” he said. “And we welcome it. Our legal and financial teams have assured us we have done nothing criminally wrong or illegal.” While Jobst published a tweet saying he was “prepared to defend [his] statements in court,” he later uploaded another video addressing Khalil’s response, where he minced no words about his thoughts on the situation. Karl Jobst slams The Completionist’s “worst ever” apology video In a 28-minute-long video, Jobst went all-in on The Completionist, calling his apology video “terrible” and one of the “worst videos I’ve ever seen,” calling Khalil “manipulative,” and claiming Jirard “blames everyone else.” He also continued to allege that Khalil had “committed charity fraud,” “stole money,” and claimed the money generated from his charity golf tournament is still “missing.” He picked apart many of Khalil’s previous charity broadcasts, where the YouTuber claimed that the Open Hand Foundation was working with other major organizations and even one of the “main funding support partners of the University of San Francisco,” calling it a lie “so batsh*t insane, it’s impressive.” That’s not all; Jobst also welcomed the legal action Khalil appeared to threaten in his response video, calling him a “pathetic b*tch” who “lied to his fans for years.” “If he feels confident enough, or perhaps stupid enough, to test my claims in court, I will happily oblige him,” Jobst challenged. “…what a buffoon. If Jirard and his family are stupid enough to go after me, I wish them the best of luck.” It’s worth noting that Jobst also acknowledged the Open Hand Foundation’s $600K donation to the AFTD, saying it was “a really good thing” and “it’s great the money everyone has had entrusted to Jirard over the years is finally going to good use.” The Completionist has yet to respond to these additional accusations from both Karl Jobst and Mutahar at this time.

Kate Middleton photo editing controversy explained: Royal Family responds to photoshopping theory – Dexerto
Kate Middleton photo editing controversy explained: Royal Family responds to photoshopping theory Kensington PalaceThe Royal Family has responded after a picture of Kate Middleton and her children went viral after it was proven to be heavily edited. Speculation over Kate Middleton’s status began after social media sleuths noticed that she hadn’t made any public appearances in a while. While the theory originally started as a joke on Twitter/X, it went viral after a post from Kate and Prince William’s Twitter account on Mother’s Day. Eagle-eyed viewers quickly noticed several strange parts of the photo including blurred clothing, inconsistent backgrounds, and even signs of AI-generated images. The photo and the ensuing investigation went viral after several large press agencies, including Reuters and PA, issued “kill notifications” on the story and image, withdrawing the photo from publication due to concerns about verifying it as legitimate. Kate Middleton admits to editing photos of Royal Family on social media While the story originally started as a minor conspiracy theory, the prominence of the edited image spread the theory significantly on social media, especially Twitter/X. After news about the photo’s editing went viral, Kate Middleton broke her silence on the topic, taking to Instagram and Twitter to explain why the photo was edited. The message reads: “Like many amateur photographers, I do occasionally experiment with editing. I wanted to express my apologies for any confusion the family photograph we shared yesterday caused. I hope everyone celebrating had a very happy Mother’s Day.” Some found the response unconvincing, with #WhereIsKate trending on Twitter shortly after the message. One viral TikToker theorized that the picture had actually been taken in 2023, and that the clothing of the children had been altered to make it look like it had been taken more recently. At time of writing, the Royal Family has not made any additional responses to the situation.

Karl Jobst exposes Syndicate for faking his Zombies world record run – Dexerto
Karl Jobst exposes Syndicate for faking his Zombies world record run YouTube: SyndicateYouTuber Karl Jobst has been on a run of exposing the alleged lies and deceptions of other YouTubers, and following his multiple videos on The Completionist, has called out Syndicate for faking a famous Call of Duty Zombies run. Syndicate primarily made his name on YouTube through Zombies, which eventually led to the over 10 million subscribers he boasts today. One of his most famous Zombies runs, at the time considered a world record, was reaching round 115 on Kino Der Toten in Black Ops. The videos remain some of his most popular to this day, more than a decade later. Over the years, the legitimacy of the run has been called into question, with multiple Zombies experts highlighting various inconsistencies between the different uploads of the full run. Karl Jobst’s latest video compiles the claims made to bring a complete picture of why the run was not possibly completed fairly. Did Syndicate fake his Zombies run? As Jobst explains, the first issue is that there are obvious inconsistencies between the different videos uploaded of the run. Despite saying he had been downed twice, for example, he is able to purchase quick revive yet again – something that would technically not be possible. There is also the use of the Thunder Gun, which is remarkably rare to get from the mystery box, yet Syndicate always seems to have it, and is not very conservative with the weapons very limited ammo, indicating that he is likely modding to give himself the Thunder Gun on command. Jobst explains that the evidence that the run is faked, and consists of multiple runs spliced together and the use of mods, however, Syndicate maintains that the run is real. Although he has admitted that the game crashed at round 69 and was restarted, he otherwise claims that it is entirely legitimate. Some commenters asked why Jobst was bringing up this topic after all these years, seemingly out of the blue. One viewer explained, however, “For those who think this video is unnecessary or childish for focusing on a cheat from 13 years ago, it was these runs and “achievements” that led to Syndicate being one of the most popular and beloved content creators in the COD community. “This is what launched his career as a YouTuber, which also inevitably, led to Syndicate’s CSGO gambling scandal.” Syndicate has not yet responded publicly to the Jobst video.

Karl Jobst & Mutahar reveal The Completionist begged them not to expose him – Dexerto
Karl Jobst & Mutahar reveal The Completionist begged them not to expose him YouTube: The CompletionistKarl Jobst and Mutahar’s investigation of The Completionist and his charity The Open Hand Foundation (OHF) has taken a shocking turn. Jobst posted audio of The Completionist begging the pair not to expose the situation. On November 14, 2023, YouTubers Karl Jobst and SomeOrdinaryGamers’ Mutahar released a detailed investigation accusing The Completionist (Jirard Khalil) of withholding over $600,000 in charity donations. Things ramped up when subsequent allegations of charity fraud were leveled against Khalil and his charity, The Open Hand Foundation (OHF). After a period of silence, The Completionist responded by apologizing and announcing the withheld funds had been donated before threatening legal action against Jobst and Mutahar. In the wake of all this drama, The Completionist’s cameo in Sea of Stars has been removed and other content creators have disparaged his team. Both Mutahar and Jobst also slammed The Completionist’s apologies and dared him to pursue legal action. Now we may have seen the reason for that confidence. An audio recording of The Completionist begging Jobst and Mutahar not to expose him has found its way to Twitter thanks to SolaceAndDread. Initially shared on Discord by Jobst, the recording is part of a call between The Completionist, Mutahar, and himself that took place as a means of clearing things up prior to the initial accusations. In the recording which multiple viewers referred to as “an admission of guilt”, The Completionist begs Mutahar and Jobst not to bring the allegations forward. “The last thing I want to do is ruin the legacy of my family, of my mom, and her memory,” The Completionist explained before clarifying that he wasn’t attempting to bribe them. “I’m not trying to be like ‘do you guys want money to help me hide this?’ This is not that at all.” The Completionist brought up previous controversies he’d been involved in supporting JonTron and ProJared. He seemed to think that his previous “track record” would make these new allegations the final straw. “Pulling one thread about the charity thing is going to upheave my entire life in a way that scares the living crap out of me,” he said. “I don’t want to go home tonight and tell everyone ‘hey, there’s a gigantic thing coming to claim my career and you all have to close down’.” In the recording, The Completionist was evidently concerned about the prospect of cancellation. His voice was shaky, his breathing was heavy, and he had a pretty clear vision of how he thought the situation would unravel. “There’s no nuance to this,” he said. “People are gonna see this and they’re gonna immediately go ‘that Jirard guy who’s been nice to a bunch of people actually isn’t very nice overall. F**k him and let’s get rid of him’.”

Karl Jacobs teases Jackbox lobby with Corpse, Sykkuno, Dream & James Charles – Dexerto
Karl Jacobs teases Jackbox lobby with Corpse, Sykkuno, Dream & James Charles Karl Jacobs, Corpse, Sykkuno TwitchA party’s about to go off on Karl Jacops’ Twitch channel as the content creator is rounding up some of the biggest names on the streaming site for a little Jackbox Games lobby including Corpse, Sykkuno, and more. The Twitch meta is currently embedded in Rust with a healthy side of Among Us streams, but Jacops (who is a member of Mr Beast’s regular crew on YouTube) is continuing his Jackbox parade with even bigger names taking part in the wholesome fun. But there’s going to be a ton of crossover with fandoms for the next stream, since it could include people from all corners of online entertainment like make up moguls, a fan-favorite mystery YouTube star, and more. “We got to get Sykkuno in one of these [Jackbox Games],” Jacops said, pumped on his highly successful Twitch streams so far with a chyron at the bottom of the screen indicating he had about 22,400 subs. The prospect of getting one of the fastest growing Twitch streamers on board is an enticing prospect for many, and something the Sykkuno himself wouldn’t mind being a part of. “I texted Sykkuno last minute, like 30 minutes before I started my stream, ‘Do you want to play Jackbox? It’s me Corpse, Dream– I gave him the rundown. He was like, ‘Of course’ and I said, ‘OK, sweet. I’m gonna start in 30 minutes.’” Although that’s where the hang up happened for Sykkuno who probably wasn’t ready for a Jackbox party on such short notice. But that’s where Jacobs is going to get better at organizing. The streamer was excited at the prospect of a Jackbox stream with the ‘gang’ that included Corpse Husband, Sykkuno, James Charles, Dream, and himself along with a couple more people. That mash up would definitely be a band of characters that can easily draw thousands of viewers, and the personalities would be hilarious to see mesh live. Jacobs has been streaming a lot more regularly since mid-2020, so it might not be long before the star-studded Jackbox Twitch stream goes down for viewers to tune in.

Karl Jobst and SomeOrdinaryGamers respond to The Completionist’s legal threat – Dexerto
Karl Jobst and SomeOrdinaryGamers respond to The Completionist’s legal threat Karl Jobst | SomeOrdinaryGamersThe Completionist responded to allegations made by fellow content creators Karl Jobst and SomeOrdinaryGamers by admitting to fault in some areas but also claiming they made several allegations against him without proper evidence. Jobst and Mutahar have since responded. For a large portion of the time, since allegations against The Completionist were made by both Karl Jobst and SomeOrdinaryGamers, it’s been a one-sided affair. It’s worth mentioning that Jobst and Mutahar (aka SomeOrdinaryGamers) interviewed Jirard (aka The Completionist) ahead of time, but he’d yet to address the matter publicly. Until recently. The Completionist’s response video addressed several of the things both creators accused him of, inserting clips of their criticisms against him and putting his own argument against them. Ultimately, he claimed their allegations were untrue and threatened legal action against both creators. Since then, both creators have responded and promised their own videos, pointing out what they claim are discrepancies between The Completionist’s video and their allegations. SomeOrdinaryGamers and Karl Jobst plan response videos Though neither creator has released a video to follow up on this situation, but both have taken to social media to confirm that they plan to stand their ground on the issue despite The Completionist threatening legal action. At present, Mutahar plans to release his video later today. For now, though, he’s already claiming that he’s found discrepancies between The Completionist’s response and what he views as the way things actually happened. Fans are holding out hope that Mutahar’s response is something damning, with many concerned that he and Jobst may be beyond their depth. “I really, really hope you know what you’re doing and not flying too close to the sun,” one fan responded on Twitter. “This is some dangerous ground you’re treading on if you’re wrong,” claimed another user. Jobst provided a bit more detail about his feelings on the situation than Mutahar, and he also claimed that his video would be out next weekend (December 16-17). Jobst claimed that The Completionist “has been caught and admitted to committing years of charity fraud.” He also claimed that The Completionist lied in his response video, though Jobst also admitted he may have made mistakes when covering the fraud he claims Jirard committed. With Jobst welcoming legal action, there’s a very real chance that this case will go to court. It remains to be seen if these creators can settle this amongst themselves or if legal counsel will get involved in their dispute.

Karl Jacobs reveals the vision behind his Vans collab and upcoming comic book – Dexerto
Karl Jacobs reveals the vision behind his Vans collab and upcoming comic book Instagram: Karl JacobsWe spoke with YouTube star Karl Jacobs about his collaboration with Vans, his highly-anticipated comic book, and how he handles the challenges of being an internet-famous influencer. Karl Jacobs may have gotten his start being a part of MrBeast’s crew, but he’s since managed to build a substantial career of his own, and is now a major internet star in his own right. Not long after getting a gig as one of MrBeast’s editors, Jacobs has managed to accrue over 4 million subscribers on YouTube and over 3 million followers on Twitch. He’s a well-known creator in the Minecraft community, regularly rubbing elbows with the likes of GeorgeNotFound, Dream, and more. Now, Jacobs is securing another major achievement after getting his very own fashion line with Vans for popular retailer Journeys, where he serves as the company’s Creative Ambassador. Karl Jacobs drops deets on upcoming comic book ‘Time Traveler Tales’ Fans can expect to nab a few T-Shirts and shoes inspired by artwork from his upcoming comic book, which will be published by Dark Horse Comics. We spoke with Jacobs about his fashion line with Vans and what viewers can expect from his new graphic novel ‘Time Traveler Tales.’ For Karl, fashion is an important means to express himself, and something he pays attention to in order to learn more about those around him. “I’ve always loved wearing Vans, so this collab has been a dream come true,” he told us. “I’ve always had a passion for using fashion to express myself creatively, so getting to combine one of my favorite projects (my comic book) with fashion has been an amazing experience.” “Fashion has always been a way for me to express my creativity without even having to say a word. I love looking at other people’s fashion styles to learn a little bit more about who they are.” Karl opened up to us about becoming Journeys’ Creative Ambassador, saying he was extremely excited to work with a brand he’s been a fan of for many years. “It’s so cool to work with Journeys directly to create content and help them interact with my digital community in a creative way,” he said. “They’ve been the best people to work with and always are open to bringing my creative ideas to life.” “Journeys approached me a little over a year ago to discuss partnering with me and I was immediately interested since I grew up shopping at Journeys and have always wanted to work with a major retailer. I knew I wanted to do more than a one off campaign so getting to join as their Creative Ambassador for a full year has been an amazing experience.” Of course, being Creative Ambassador at Journeys means there’s likely some other very exciting collaborations in store — but for now, Jacobs tells us that any future endeavors with the brand are a “secret.” Karl Jacobs explains how he handles scrutiny from online fame Jacobs also let us in on some details about his upcoming comic book, telling us he’s been working on the project over the last year — and he can’t wait for fans to get their hands on it. “It’s such a huge dream not only having my own comic book but getting to do it with Dark Horse, who I’ve been a fan of since I was a kid. I can’t wait for people to actually get the comic book in their hands and see what I’ve been working on for the past year!” Jacobs’ graphic novel is based on his adventures in the Dream SMP server, bringing his online exploits to life on the page and in the merchandise that fans can cop at Journeys this summer. From MrBeast to his own internet fame We also took the time to ask Jacobs about his growth from being one of MrBeast’s editors to his current status as an internet icon. Throughout his career, Jacobs has seen a huge rise to stardom — but being a popular influencer isn’t always sunshine and roses. Jacob has come under scrutiny in the past, and tells us he’s able to find a balance between his online presence and real life by spending quality time with friends. “It’s been really important for me to try and take time for myself no matter how busy life gets creating content,” he explained. “I really make a lot of effort to spend time with my friends outside of creating content, which I’ve found is one of the best ways to destress and worry less about what’s happening online.” Jacobs also told us that it’s been “interesting” to see how viewers react to his online presence as he’s gone from being a staple in MrBeast’s videos to creating his own content. Now, Jacobs boasts successful Twitch and YouTube channels, on top of having his own podcast with GeorgeNotFound and Snapnap called ‘BANTER.’ “It’s been an interesting one for sure,” he mused. “It’s been super cool to see people enjoy my content and what I create outside of being in MrBeast videos. It’s been really interesting to see the transition over time to people actually knowing my name and my personality outside of the MrBeast videos.” For now, it seems like life is looking up for Jacobs as he enters yet another major era of his career… with “a lot” more “secret” projects on the way.

Karl Jacobs responds after coming under fire for supporting Ice Poseidon – Dexerto
Karl Jacobs responds after coming under fire for supporting Ice Poseidon Twitch: karljacobsTwitch streamer Karl Jacobs has responded to backlash after fans criticized him for publicly associating with streamer Ice Poseidon. Karl Jacobs initially rose to internet fame as part of MrBeast’s videos, but he’s since gone on to become well-known as a streamer in his own right, and his participation in the Dream SMP streams has also contributed to his new following. However, the streamer is currently facing backlash for associating with Ice Poseidon, a streamer who has been accused of racism in the past. People uploaded old clips of Karl ‘stream sniping’ Ice Poseidon, also claiming that he still follows him on Twitter. https://twitter.com/feralpaige/status/1387865327304810497 Following the backlash, which was trending on Twitter at some points, Karl went live on Twitch to address the criticism on April 29. “There’s threads going out there that I’ve associated with a streamer, a prominent streamer, that is currently known for a lot of bad stuff, like racism, any phobia you could think of,” he said. “I just want to make it clear, a million percent I don’t condone anything they’ve done,” adding, “I guess I did actively support bad content creators at one point and I’m sorry.” Karl went onto say: “I do want to address really quick, there’s chat logs of me coming out saying that I’ve recently been in the streamer that they’re talking about’s chat spamming TriHard 7, stuff like that. I just want to make it clear that I’ve never used TriHard in a way that’s meant to be racist.” He also clarified that a ‘big nose’ joke he made was not intended to be anti-semitic, saying: “I think people associated that with anti-semitism, but in reality, in early Twitch the meme was like Ice Poseidon had a big nose. So people made fun of him for having a big nose. I wasn’t coming towards anti-semitism if that makes sense, or anything racially charged at all.” He finished by apologizing for offending anybody, and said it ‘genuinely wasn’t [his] intention.’ Some time later, Jacobs published a Twitlonger post further clarifying the situation, explaining how he’d ended up on Poseidon’s stream back in the day and once again apologizing to his fans for appearing with a streamer who “made very controversial, offensive, and all types of content that I absolutely don’t support.” “I promise to show change beyond just exclaiming that I won’t let things like this happen again, because I want everyone to feel comfortable being a part of this community, as you all do genuinely mean a lot to me,” Jacobs wrote. “Love you guys, thank you for hearing me out, I am genuinely sorry.”

Karl Jacobs responds to claims he ‘ruined’ MrBeast’s videos – Dexerto
Karl Jacobs responds to claims he ‘ruined’ MrBeast’s videos Instagram: MrBeastStreamer Karl Jacobs has addressed claims that he ‘ruined’ MrBeast’s videos in an interview with Anthony Padilla, saying he thinks he can definitely be “polarizing.” Jimmy ‘MrBeast’ Donaldson is one of YouTube’s biggest creators. He started uploading to his channel way back in 2012, and in the years since has built up a hugely impressive following of over tens and millions of people across multiple channels. The popular creator has also brought in his tight-knit team of friends, who regularly make appearances in his wild videos, such as Chris and Chandler. Karl Jacobs is one such team member, but over the past year or so has managed to become a hugely popular content creator in his own right, boasting over 3 million followers on Twitch alone. However, although Karl has his own loyal and dedicated fanbase, it seems not everyone has been a fan of his appearance in MrBeast’s videos. In an interview, YouTuber Anthony Padilla asked Karl what he thinks about claims he ‘ruined’ MrBeast’s videos. Read More: Who will Jake Paul fight next? – “Yeah, I’m proud of that one,” he laughed. “That one’s funny to me. I was laughing about this with Jimmy the other day, like they think it’s like a conspiracy, ‘Karl was brought on to MrBeast to make it more child friendly.’” Karl went onto say: “I can be definitely polarizing. I’m loud, sometimes. I get, if you don’t like how I act, that’s fair, whatever.” Topic starts at 6:35 The comments are filled with people praising Karl for his response to the claims, saying they “don’t understand why he gets hate,” others saying that they are surprised the streamer even has haters at all. It’s clear that his fans are glad to see him become an online creator in his own right, but many are also happy to see him stick around in MrBeast’s content too.

Karl Jacobs, Quackity and Austin change their song name after it sparks debate – Dexerto
Karl Jacobs, Quackity and Austin change their song name after it sparks debate Twitter: KarlJacobsPopular content creators Karl Jacobs, Quackity, and AustinShow changed the name of a song they made on stream after coming under fire from fans on Twitter. It’s not unusual to see Twitch streamers and YouTubers step away from their usual content and show off a different artistic side of themselves. Many have created music in the past – be it a legitimately good song that involves high-quality production or a funny parody, diss track that aims to settle a beef. During their March 14 stream, Karl Jacobs, Quackity, and AustinShow put together a song in just over an hours time, however, the first name they chose didn’t go down great with everyone. Originally, their short hit was called ‘Bussin’ and, unsurprisingly, fans managed to get the hashtag StreamBussin trending on Twitter. As the trend grew stronger, some users criticized the content creators for appropriating African American Vernacular English with the use of ‘Bussin’. “Y’all misuse aave so much that y’all are making nonsensical statements just to sound cool or smth, bussin doesn’t even make sense in this context please stop appropriating aave,” said one viral tweet. “Kinda upsets me how often ccs use aave but pls do not trend/continue to use the tag #streambussin if you arent black,” said another. #streambussin y’all misuse aave so much that y’all are making nonsensical statements just to sound cool or smth, bussin doesn’t even make sense in this context please stop appropriating aave — chichi 💌 (@planetlovebug) March 14, 2021 https://twitter.com/F3RAL4U/status/1370947471015297033 Shortly after, the name of the song was altered to ‘Sapnap out the Gang’ – referencing Sapnap from the DreamSNP Minecraft server. However, it’s been changed even further to be known as ‘Sapnaps Are Ruining My Life!’ Fans applauded the group for listening to the criticism and making a change, with others saying the debate has prompted them to do more research. “Thank you karl and quackity for changing the name of the song as soon as they realized it was wrong for everyone else bussin is AAVE,” read one tweet. https://twitter.com/PINKDlSC/status/1370949927107448835 https://twitter.com/ReddNRodd/status/1370955428402724864 None of the trio responded to the criticism of the name, outside of changing the name twice over, but they did tease more collaborations in the future. So fans will have to wait and see what they’ve got in store next.

Karen’s Diner customer divides TikTok after raging at staff over “body shaming” joke – Dexerto
Karen’s Diner customer divides TikTok after raging at staff over “body shaming” joke TIKTOK: bechardgraveAn angry Karen’s Diner customer went viral on TikTok after confronting the staff over a “body shaming” comment they made. Karen’s Diner is renowned for offering good food and terrible customer service. While customers expect staff to be rude, impatient, and dismissive, the restaurant states that racist, sexist, homophobic, and body-shaming jokes will not be tolerated. One customer, however, recently went viral on TikTok after accusing a server of making a “body shaming” comment toward him. In a video that has amassed 5.3 million views, content creator Bec Hardgrave recorded her experience at Karen’s Diner in Brisbane, Australia. In her voiceover she says: “Me and my friends went to Karen’s diner, and safe to say I probably won’t come back. “I know they get paid to be mean to you but it was a little too hectic. They were making offensive comments about people’s appearances and they told my friend she needed to brush her hair. How mean is that?” According to Bec, “The food was OK but get this, they told this guy he had a receding hairline and this is what he did…” The video then cuts to a clip of a red-faced man shouting at the restaurant staff. Click here if TikTok doesn’t load In the clip, the man can be seen yelling at staff, while a pile of straws and napkins lay all over the entrance, suggesting he may have thrown them on the ground in a fit of rage. “What’s the one thing your f**king sign says? No body shaming!” he shouts, while pointing to a sign hanging on the wall. He also calls the server who “body shamed” him a “f**king fat b*tch.” “The guy at the end was sooo out of line!” Hardgrave wrote in the video caption, and added in on-screen text how she “felt so bad for the staff at this point.” TikTok divided over customer raging at Karen Diner staff Some users believed that the server’s comment should be expected in a Karen’s Diner, so customers shouldn’t be offended. “You should all know the risks before entering. If you’re too soft, don’t eat there,” one user wrote. “Do people not understand the concept on this place? If you’re going to get offended and mad, don’t go- simple,” another added. Others, however, thought that the restaurant had gone “too far” and accused servers of bullying customers. “This restaurant is a mess, it’s not even about being a Karen it’s literally bullying,” one user commented. “Karen’s Diner needs to end, the whole thing is a mess. They break their own rules and boundaries and then act surprised when people are upset,” another agreed.
