The start of the video saw a blindfolded Paul speed down what seems to be his driveway in a truck while wearing the blindfold, crashing into trash cans. Later on, Paul appears to drive his car out onto a busy street, although it’s possible that these parts of the video have been faked. The American did include a disclaimer in the description of the video that stated the “stunts” were carried out by trained professionals, however many on social media have criticised the star for showing himself driving without the ability to see, saying that it promotes behaviour that could endanger the lives of himself and others to his young audience. The likes of Alex Wassabi and Bryce Hall are ranked at a level below, which the PBA is calling the ‘international’ level. He needs to stick to boxing influencers, athletes, and celebrities that sell out arenas. He needs to continue to knock the socks off of his opponents and bark in the face of boxing. This isn’t to say Jake Paul can’t box. He’s a damn good fighter, but he’s a showman first. He needs to fight his peers like KSI, Andrew Tate, and his brother Logan Paul. These are the matchups that will sell tickets, provide a platform for his undercard fighters, and light fires under real professional boxers. It’s undeniable that both Jake and Logan are geniuses when it comes to entertainment. Despite several missteps in their careers, they always stay on top and demand attention. Paul needs to play to his strengths. He may be able to take on any cruiserweight in the WBC, but that doesn’t mean he has to. Jake Paul fighting a real boxer is akin to the defeat of Smaug in The Hobbit. Five fights isn’t a proper build-up. There’s not enough anticipation just yet. The events have been major successes, and plenty of fighters and pundits have praised the influencers for bringing new eyes to the sport – even if they have played down the quality of the fights. However, the events could have a more disastrous impact on the sport long term. Eddie Hearn worries YouTube boxing could “kill” the sport That’s according to Matchroom Boxing’s Eddie Hearn, who promoted the first professional YouTube boxing event been KSI and Logan Paul. Though the Brit has been pretty positive in his comments about the events since, he does have some concerns as well. “There’s boxing and there’s YouTube boxing… but we’ve got to be a little bit careful, it puts the pressure on boxing to deliver because if not, this stuff will take over and it will kill the sport long-term,” Hearn told the DAZN Boxing Show. “We know the numbers it does, it does very well. Jake Paul is being accused of forging signatures, and it could land him in big trouble Social Media Star Jake Paul is in hot water for allegedly forging the signature of YouTuber Max Goodrich, who claims that Paul has ‘ruined his good credit.’ According to legal documents procured by TMZ, Goodrich is suing Paul for supposedly forging his signature to lease out a rental property, which he promptly trashed – subsequently ruining Goodrich’s ‘good credit.’ Goodrich also claimed that he and Paul had considered moving into the home together, but Goodrich had ultimately backed out of the deal. Paul had decided to use his name on the lease, even though Goodrich wasn’t living there. That’s not all – owners of the rental property are taking legal action against both parties for “leaving the place in ruins,” despite Goodrich’s apparent lack of involvement in the scandal whatsoever. Goodrich is responding to the lawsuit by suing Paul, asking that he cover all damages laid out in the homeowners’ dispute. However, TMZ has since updated this story with claims that Paul never actually forged Goodrich’s signature at all. A source close to the youngest Paul brother has stated that Goodrich’s signature is nowhere to be found on the original lease of the property, and claims that Goodrich was only listed as a ‘potential tenant.’ According to the source, the original tenants of the property were listed as ‘10 Digit Media,’ a social media label for Paul’s ‘Team 10’ crew of YouTube personalities.
