Going into Saturday’s Main Event, fans of both Silva and Paul had high hopes for their fighters. They claimed Paul would easily knock Silva out because of the age gap or that Silva would teach Paul a lesson thanks to his years and years of experience. However, after a few shaky rounds at the start of the match, Jake Paul would land a dynamite punch in round eight, sending Silva to the mat – the only time during the fight that either fighter was knocked down. While it wasn’t a knockout, Paul took home the victory via a unanimous decision from the judges. Of course, this won’t be the Problem Child’s last bout. He stated that this was only the beginning of rivalries he hopes to start with the MMA community. After his big win, he was allowed to call out his next potential opponent. This call out is more out of the Nate Robinson playbook though – the former NBA star Paul demolished in the ring back in November 2020. Jake Paul offers Draymond Green $10m boxing match In a series of October 7 tweets, Paul offered the Warriors forward $10m to get into the ring. He said: “Draymond I got $10 million for you to get in the ring on the next Most Valuable Promotions pay per view. The aptly named ‘Dana White diss track’ contains plenty of digs at the UFC President and Jake’s beef over fighter pay and lack of health care benefits. There are also plenty of personal digs too, with Jake calling Dana a “greedy bald b**ch” and referencing his connection to the NELK Boys, as well as mocking Diaz’s lisp and calling McGregor a “rich little weirdo” who hasn’t won in five years. In the music video, where Jake can be seen putting ‘Dana’ in submission holds inside the Octagon, the cage is also surrounded with signs reading”F**k KSI,” though there is no reference to the YouTuber in the track itself. “Pay your fighters more, give them health care you scumbag,” Jake says towards the end as the song tails off. “I haven’t met a single person who says anything good about you. I’m keeping my foot on your neck until you tap b**ch.” Whether or not Dana will respond remains to be seen, however. The UFC President previously stated that he was “done” talking about Jake, but that has only made the YouTuber ramp things up. Who knows where things will go next.

Logan Paul has a noted background in high school wrestling, and his skill has been noted by the likes of MMA fighter and comedian Brendan Schaub, among others. While White’s comments could point to a definite barrier in regards to the Pauls’ involvement in the UFC, the brothers aren’t going down without a fight – literally.

While the YouTuber-turned-boxer made it clear that he doesn’t want to bring Logan down, he shared a few thoughts about how he’s been treated by his big bro over the years. “Clearly he has envy and jealously towards me, and that’s what I told him off camera. It’s no secret Canelo and the YouTube star aren’t fans of each other, so when he realized what was going on, he told the pair to “get the f*** out.” In an Instagram story on Tuesday, March 2, Paul said he “had to rant” on all of the people calling him out, including Canelo, over the past couple of days. “Canelo, what’s your problem, why do you hate me so much?” Paul asked. “Canelo’s mad, he has this thing against me, says I’m ‘bad for the sport,’ I’m disrespecting it, which doesn’t make sense at all. However, Davis backed out of that, prompting the social media star to call him “mini man” and a “f**king b**ch” on Instagram. The Dagestan native dropped his own open invite on Twitter, offering Jake a route into his new promotion – Eagle Fighting Championship. While fans may have assumed it was all for show, it could actually happen. Jake’s initial response to Khabib’s invite was to one-up things, saying he’d join on the condition that he got to square off with the undefeated Lightweight star.
