FaZe Censor issues threat to hacker who leaked his address YouTube: Censor/TheRegisterFormer Call of Duty star Doug ‘Censor’ Martin issued a strong warning to a hacker who doxed him on social media, threatening them with a face-to-face confrontation. After once being a top name in Call of Duty, Censor has been able to bridge the gap between competitive play and becoming a successful content creator that is rarely seen in the scene. Yet, that fame has some unusual consequences as rogue viewers have regularly shown that they will do their utmost to tweet someone’s location, phone number, and even home address. That all too regular fate fell on Censor, yet, he hasn’t taken it lightly – threatening to put the spotlight on the hacker. On August 18, the former FaZe Clan CoD star issued a warning to anyone who might try and turn up at his home after his address was leaked by a hacker. “I think it goes without saying but leaking anyone’s address is clearly something you shouldn’t do,” he tweeted. “If anybody ever shows up to my house uninvited the police are going to be there and if I find these hackers I’m going to personally make sure their lives are fucked.” I think it goes without saying but leaking anyone’s address is clearly something you shouldn’t do. If anybody ever shows up to my house uninvited the police are going to be there and if I find these hackers I’m going to personally make sure their lives are fucked. — FaZe Censor (@Censor) August 19, 2019 It didn’t take long for Censor to follow that up with a further threat, tweeting out a minute-long video that explained how he had been hacked and how he was considering hunting down the perpetrators. “I’m going to get Detective Doug on this case and If I find out this guy’s address, I’m literally going to fly out to his house myself and have the police come – and I’ll make it all into some content,” he stated. “Let’s make a lesson out of this for anyone out there. If you want to get attention from your favorite streamers, YouTubers, whatever, the right way of going about it isn’t by threatening to dox them, hack them, and SWAT them – alright. There are other levels to it,” Censor concluded. I need your help please share this ️ pic.twitter.com/JTGZ63rReb — FaZe Censor (@Censor) August 19, 2019 Whether or not Censor will actually be able to get ahold of the hacker’s address and fly out there to teach them a lesson, as he indicated, remains to be seen. Either way, as he’s already shown, when Detective Doug gets on the trail, he won’t stop until he has the answers he wants – or can rustle up some content.

FaZe Censor threatens to expose “punks” vandalizing his home – Dexerto
FaZe Censor threatens to expose “punks” vandalizing his home YouTube / CensorFaZe Clan member Doug ‘Censor‘ Martin has vowed to find and expose a group of individuals who he claims have been vandalizing his property for over four years. The former professional Call of Duty player has hit out at the vandals, who also ordered a pizza to his home at 3am, which disturbed his pets, although Censor and his partner slept through the commotion. According to the YouTuber, both his own previous apartment and his mother’s home have been egged by this group of vandals, with repeated incidents over four years. In his previous apartment he was unable to obtain the security footage, but now in his own home has setup cameras, catching the perpetrators in the act. Censor’s says he is puzzled by the repeated attacks, explaining that he has “never wronged anyone”, and so cannot fathom the motivation for egging and pranking his property. In a series of Tweets on May 29, Censor explained that the “punks” would be taught a lesson. To be clear, even if somebody does me wrong, and I’ve been done wrong many times, NEVER do I retaliate. Only if it’s absolutely necessary. I’m putting my foot down now. — FaZe Censor (@Censor) May 30, 2019 In his YouTube video that followed, Censor included the footage from the security camera, but explained that although the pranksters had called Dominos to order pizza to his home at 3am, the company was unable to disclose the number used. “I have never said anything on social media about these kids who have been vandalizing me for years,” Censor exclaimed, “I know you’re watching this right now, and I’m going to find out who you are. “I’m going to find you, and I’m going to put you in your place.” The popular YouTuber also said that a landscaper was charging him $400 to have the eggs cleaned up from the front of the property, but that his video on the situation should be able to cover the costs. Censor previously uploaded another video showing two mysterious people approaching his property, back in October, but it’s unclear if the incidents are related. The vandals could be seen arriving and driving off in a vehicle, evidence that at least one of them is over the age of 17, and Censor estimates that they could be older still.

FaZe Censor officially reveals new girlfriend after months of speculation – Dexerto
FaZe Censor officially reveals new girlfriend after months of speculation Censor, YouTube / FreepikFormer Call of Duty pro and current content creator Doug ‘Censor’ Martin parted ways with the “world’s sexist weathergirl” Yanet Garcia in summer of 2018, leading to worldwide backlash at their split – but now, Censor has finally revealed his latest squeeze, after teasing his beau in a prior video. While Censor kept relatively quiet about his new relationship on the outset, he later admitted that he was, indeed, dating someone, later claiming that he hoped to keep their relationship private following the massive scandal that was his last relationship. However, things weren’t kept under wraps for long – Censor accidentally showed the lock screen of his phone during a video on June 9, which featured the YouTuber posing with a dark-haired young woman on a beach. 600Fans were quick to point out this fact, with Censor confirming that the woman was, indeed, his new girlfriend – although he didn’t officially reveal her to the world until very recently. Censor finally showed Marylin’s face in a video on July 21, where the couple addressed their relationship and admitted that they have been together for a year. “The last thing I want to do in terms of a relationship is bring a camera around with me and vlog what I’m doing,” Censor said of his social media silence on the subject. “That wouldn’t make our relationship work.” That’s not all: Censor likewise posted an Instagram photo with Marylin that same day, showing the two smiling for the camera with palm trees in the background. “Hey guys, I’ve been dating this beautiful woman named Marilyn and I just wanted to show you guys,” Censor captioned the image. 600https://www.instagram.com/p/B0MlRx6h3Xc/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_linkAlthough fans are largely pleased with this development, some critics can’t help but compare Censor’s new girlfriend to Yanet Garcia, who Censor allegedly broke things off with due to money issues. According to Censor, Garcia wanted a cut of his YouTube revenue due to appearing in his vlogs and thumbnails, ultimately leading to irreparable tension between the two. 600https://www.instagram.com/p/Bz1JpsZHBET/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_linkWhile Garcia is now dating former American football pro Lewis Howes, it looks like Censor has found a new romance, as well, and is finally willing to share his love life with the world despite his initial fears.

FaZe Censor reveals new girlfriend for the first time since split with Yanet Garcia – Dexerto
FaZe Censor reveals new girlfriend for the first time since split with Yanet Garcia FaZe Censor, YouTube / FreepikFormer Call of Duty pro Doug ‘Censor’ Martin stirred controversy throughout mainstream media in summer 2018, following his split with the “World’s Sexiest” weathercaster Yanet Garcia – but now, he’s finally ready to show off his new main squeeze. Censor claimed that he’d called off his romance with Garcia to pursue competitive Call of Duty, which he later dropped in favor of content creation shortly thereafter. However, Censor’s love life took a quiet turn, with the YouTuber appearing to remain single for some time – until he finally teased his new girlfriend in a video on June 9. Censor explained that he didn’t want to show his girlfriend’s face because he wanted to keep their relationship private, as opposed to his highly-publicized romance – and subsequent parting – with Garcia in 2018. While Censor’s girlfriend can be heard talking over the mic, her face had yet to be revealed: until two weeks later. Censor published a Tweet on June 23 admitting that he’d included a sneak peek of his new amore in his vlog uploaded on the same day. If you guys really want to see my girlfriend I leak a quick picture of her in my new VLOG. It’s actually crazy we’ve been together for this long and that’s the first time she really has been seen somewhere on my videos. — FaZe Censor (@Censor) June 23, 2019 “If you guys really want to see my girlfriend, I leak a quick picture of her in my new VLOG,” Censor Tweeted. “It’s actually crazy we’ve been together for this long, and that’s the first time she really has been seen somewhere on my videos.” A quick scan through Censor’s video shows him checking his phone, the lock screen of which shows a photo of Censor embracing a young woman on a beach. 600https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x_2npZSdsVgCensor followed up his Tweet with another post, claiming that his girlfriend has “the prettiest face I’ve ever seen in my whole life.” Martin claimed that his infamous split with Garcia in 2018 had occurred due to money problems, alleging that the weathercaster wanted a cut of revenue from his YouTube vlogs, since she appeared in his thumbnails quite often. Garcia later spoke out on the matter via her Instagram account, claiming that she wanted to keep their split private and asking her audience not to take their breakup too seriously. 600Censor has now begun streaming on Twitch, and boasts over 2.5 million subscribers on his YouTube channel as of June 23.

FaZe Censor “cringes” at hilarious love letter he sent to new girlfriend – Dexerto
FaZe Censor “cringes” at hilarious love letter he sent to new girlfriend YouTube: CensorFormer Call of Duty professional Doug ‘Censor’ Martin has revealed the hilariously ‘cringey’ love letter he wrote to his new girlfriend, which she says was sent after just one date. Censor is always one to speak his mind, as well as revealing fairly personal things to his fan base via his YouTube channel. He recently produced an exposé on the infamous CoDBurner, and revealed his new girlfriend to his some 2.5 million subscribers. Since his well publicized break up with the “world’s sexiest weather girl”, Yanet Garcia, many have been waiting for an announcement regarding his new love interest. This came on July 22 and as he reveals more information about their relationship, a bizarre (and somewhat romantic) love letter has emerged, apparently written after just one date. I wrote my girlfriend Marilyn a letter over 6 YEARS ago and she kept it this whole time. She just read it for the first time on camera. I’m CRINGING :persevered: — FaZe Censor (@Censor) July 23, 2019 On July 23, Censor and his new girlfriend, Marilyn, sat down and gave a little bit more history regarding their relationship, explaining that, while they only started officially dating in November of 2018, they have actually known each other for over six years. Doug explains that they originally met when he worked at a gym that Marilyn attended, and when he finally plucked up the courage to ask her on a date, they were on and off for a while before things broke down due to college. However, this was not before Censor penned a soppy love letter to Marilyn, which she read aloud during the video. As Marilyn reads the letter, the former Call of Duty star can be seen cringing, as if he cannot believe the letter he once wrote. Even more strange, is that Marilyn states that the letter was written just after the pair’s first date. The full letter is shown in the video and, while people will certainly find it cringey (Censor included), it’s clear the extent to which he cares about Marilyn. She also reveals that smudges on the letter are from her first time reading it, when it brought her to tears. Away from the letter, the video sees the pair discuss their relationship in detail, explaining that they both doubt they would have stayed together, had they made it official all those years ago.

FaZe Censor explains why he’s had to shave his head bald – Dexerto
FaZe Censor explains why he’s had to shave his head bald YouTube: CensorFaZe Clan’s Doug ‘Censor’ Martin has explained the reason why he’s had to completely shave his hair and go bald. Aside from being an ever-popular Call of Duty pro who is continually teasing making a return to competitive play, Censor is well known for his YouTube antics. He may not upload on a daily basis, but fans are treated to regular videos where he’s getting up to something – be it surprising his girlfriend with a new car or tracking down someone who leaked his address. This time, he’s paying up on a bet, after his Twitch viewers made a fiendish deal with him. In his August 19 upload, ‘My Girlfriend Shaves My Head’, the former Call of Duty star explained how he and his girlfriend – Marilyn – headed to Los Angeles for a sole day just to be at CWL Championships. Upon their late return to New York, Censor decided to hop right into streaming and quickly amassed a handful of new subscribers. Some fans begged him to cut his hair at 4,000 subs, but considering how close he was to that figure, Censor turned that into a counter-offer of hitting 5,000. “Well, we hit like 5300 subscribers – I guess the people want to see this,” he explained. As his haircut progressed and he inched ever closer to becoming bald, Censor again praised his Twitch community – and was even able to see the funny side of things. “I honestly feel that because I’m getting older, I feel more assertive and manly,” he stated. “I’m 25-year-old bald, buff dude now!” Censor continued on: “Let me know what you guys think. The only reason I did this is because my stream is insane – I have one of the best communities on Twitch TV. These guys have just been supporting me day in and day out, and this is what they wanted from me and I couldn’t let them down.” While his girlfriend may have helped with the shaving, despite being mortified at first, Censor also revealed that he’s going to be trying the new look out in public and getting some content from it. Either way, it won’t be a quick fix as he also stated that he’s living the bald life for the next two to three months.

FaZe Blaze releases caffeinated chocolate snacks right after Pokimane cookie controversy – Dexerto
FaZe Blaze releases caffeinated chocolate snacks right after Pokimane cookie controversy FaZe BlazeYouTuber and FaZe Clan star Lucas ‘Blaze’ Mosing has released new caffeinated chocolate snacks just days after Pokimane’s cookie controversy. Earlier in November, Twitch star Pokimane came under fire from fans after launching her new company Myna, and releasing healthy chocolate ‘Midnight Mini Cookies.’ Complaints began after fans found a similar product at Costco, containing the same ingredients, nutritional value, and even the same name at a cheaper price. The Twitch star hit back, claiming the product and formula behind it are exclusive to her company Myna, before calling out the “broke” viewers criticizing the “overpriced” cookies. Now, FaZe Clan star Blaze has similarly released his own snacks off the back of Pokimane’s controversy. FaZe Blaze launches new caffeinated chocolate snacks ‘Charged’ On November 21, FaZe Clan member Blaze announced his new company ‘Charge‘ — releasing caffeinated chocolate snacks as an alternative to energy drinks. The YouTuber claimed his “highly caffeinated” energy chocolate is the “perfect” way to enjoy long gaming sessions without having to constantly rush to the bathroom in between games. Each piece contains 54mg of caffeine, with no added sugar. Not only that, they’re vegan-friendly and gluten-free. “A highly caffeinated energy chocolate that’s the perfect pick-me-up for your day, or if you’re like me the perfect way to enjoy a long gaming session without having to go to the bathroom like a traditional energy drink,” said Blaze. Charge is available for purchase in a pack of 12 at $39.99 USD, with each pack containing three chocolate balls in either dark chocolate or milk chocolate. Alternatively, you can purchase an 80-piece pack for $79.99. So far, Blaze has had a positive response from his fans on the product. However, we’ll have to wait and see what they think of the snacks when they get their hands on it. Check out Dexerto’s review of Pokimane’s Midnight Mini Cookies.

FaZe Censor breaks the bank with $1 lotto ticket – Dexerto
FaZe Censor breaks the bank with $1 lotto ticket FaZe Clan‘s Doug ‘Censor‘ Martin might be known for his incredible Call of Duty skills, but he’s also proven he’s got incredible luck after winning big bucks on a $1 lotto ticket. The phrase ‘one in a million’ holds true for many people who enter the lottery, whether through smaller draws or massive ones like the Mega Millions, and it’s rare to personally know anybody who’s netted more than a few bucks in winnings. But ex-Call of Duty pro Censor hit the jackpot after he won a whopping $50,000 on a $1 Quickdraw lotto ticket, and he lovingly decided to splash all the cash on his deserving mom. He’s got some luck In a 15-minute YouTube video, Censor detailed how he managed to win the insane amount of money. “We had $4 total on the ticket. It was two games, and a game is just $1. But we paid the extra dollar for the extra multiplier. So, basically how it works is on one of the two games I won $5,000, and we got the multiplier, and it hit x10. It can be anything from 1 to 10, and it hit x10 which is the best it could hit.” The esports pro took his mom along with him to the lottery office in Long Island, New York where they cashed the lucky ticket in for a $50,000 check. The workers were shocked, revealing that it’s the biggest win they’d ever seen on a Quickdraw ticket. “Wow, nice! I’ve never seen that!” the cashier lady exclaimed. Some people who win big like this could be tempted to gamble further, and obviously that carries its risks. Censor had some wise words for viewers who could be inspired to play the lotto after his jackpot. “I just wanna make it clear to you guys out there, if you’re gonna gamble, you have to do it at your own risk, you have to understand the risks of it. It is very dangerous, it can be very addicting as well. Just make sure you guys think twice before you do it.” When detailing how he would spend the money, Censor claimed that he is going to spend every penny of it on his mom, buying her a new car, fixing her roof, getting her new carpets for her house, and paying off some credit card debt she has. He recently hinted at a Call of Duty return… FaZe Censor has retired from competitive Call of Duty twice now, but recently shocked fans with a surprise hint at another return. After Modern Warfare was announced back in May, the esports pro proudly tweeted, “I’m winning champs on Modern Warfare next year.” Fans are skeptical that Censor will return, given that he’s made hints in the past that were never followed up on, but only time will tell. The Modern Warfare release would be the perfect time for his comeback.

FaZe Blaze explains break up with Instagram model Carrington Durham – Dexerto
FaZe Blaze explains break up with Instagram model Carrington Durham Instagram: blazifyyFaZe Clan member Lucas ‘Blaze’ Mosing has explained why he and Instagram model Carrington Durham have broken up in a heartbreaking video. [jwplayer ZXB9LNVP] Blaze and Carrington first revealed they were an item in August 2019 and have frequently collaborated together in videos and TikToks, becoming a well-known couple among fans of both internet personalities. However, while many thought their romance was out of this world, it turned out to be a little too good to be true, with Blaze revealing they were no longer together in a rare video on his YouTube Channel. Blaze said that the pair had been going through a rough patch, and recalled the day they broke up roughly a month ago: “She hit me with a text that basically said we needed to talk and I drove over to her house not really expecting to break up… but when I walked into her room I just saw her sobbing, like just uncontrollably crying. “I walked in there and I saw that and the first thing that I said to her was ‘is it over baby, are we done with?’ and at that moment we both knew that it was over, it was done.” He heartbreakingly described how sad he had been, adding, “when it first happened I was down astronomically. I’m talking fetal position crying in the shower three in the morning, down bad. I’d literally be hitting her up every single day like begging her to take me back and see if we can try and work things out.” He candidly explained that at first they fell “hard and fast” for each other, and had enough time to put lots of effort into each other, but as time went on, Blaze needed to take a step back and focus on his own career, adding “it was mostly my fault.” “It got to a point for her where she just needed to move forward with her life… I was not making her fully happy and living up to her expectations.” Blaze pleaded with his viewers not to send any hate towards Carrington before going on to say that in the future he plans to move to Las Vegas with his friend Nick along with some other members of the FaZe Clan. While this is some very sad news, Blaze still appears excited for the future, and hopefully both parties come out better for it.

FaZe Blaze explains why the Tesla Model 3 is the best car he’s owned – Dexerto
FaZe Blaze explains why the Tesla Model 3 is the best car he’s owned YouTube: FaZe BlazeFaZe Clan’s Lucas ‘Blaze’ Mosing has revealed that he has replaced his 2001 Porsche with a brand new Tesla Model 3 – and explained the reason behind his decision. Tesla has grown tremendously in recent years as one of the biggest electric car manufacturers in the world, and has become a staple for top celebrities – and YouTubers especially – looking to up their car game. Despite his removal from the FaZe house, Blaze has tried not to let himself slow down too much and has uploaded a video revealing his new car and giving viewers a tour of it. After having an issue with his old 2001 Porsche and having to take it to the shop to be fixed, he says he realized it was probably about the right time to get a new car, and when he went looking he saw a “beautiful” Tesla that was actually available to be picked up the next day. So, Blaze said, he ordered it on his phone and actually got it delivered the following day, with footage of him showing it to his friends and capturing their reactions, as well as giving a brief tour of the vehicle itself and some of the cool features. Despite reeling off certain interesting and fun features about the vehicle, he finally revealed the exact reason he bought the Tesla Model 3. “The reason I got this car is because of how it drives,” he said. “It doesn’t even feel like a car. It feels like a toy… It goes 0-60 so fast. It’s so fast, and it’s so quiet and so smooth.” Finally, he adds that all of the above, alongside the autopilot feature, makes the Tesla Model 3 “the dopest car” that he’s ever had in his entire life and that he’s “so happy with it.” While Blaze is delighted with his new drive, some people aren’t so impressed. Bill Gates is one of the biggest names that opted for a competitor over Tesla, and explained why he chose a Porsche Taycan instead – though, Elon Musk wasn’t too impressed. While Gates might not be overly impressed with Tesla, Blaze is clearly delighted, and it’s definitely not a bad ride to be driving around Los Angeles in by any means.

FaZe Banks under investigation for $30,000 of damage to Vegas hotel – Dexerto
FaZe Banks under investigation for $30,000 of damage to Vegas hotel FaZe Clan’s Ricky Banks is reportedly being investigated for $30,000 worth of damage to a hotel room in Las Vegas. The popular internet personality is under investigation, according to a report from TMZ. Authorities were called to the Encore At Wynn Las Vegas luxury hotel on October 14, claiming that he had destroyed the room he was staying at. TMZ states that the room was a “disaster zone” when it was inspected, with holes in the walls, broken furniture, and soil from plants allegedly all over the floor. This prompted a destruction of property call to the police. The extent of the damage, which is estimated to be near the $30,000 mark, would see a charge that can result in up to five years in prison. TMZ, though, claims that such a sentence is unlikely for Banks. No charges have been filed against Banks as of yet and it is likely that the hotel would drop the case so long as the damages have been paid. This is something that happens in Vegas regularly – as the article states. Banks and the FaZe organization have been accused of damaging property previously, too. Back in 2018, social media platform Hubrick – which was started by Norwegian entrepreneur Sebastian Guerts – accused the org of stealing “dozens of computers and gaming stations, some of the office furniture (…) and left it ransacked as little more than piles of empty boxes.” With the business seeking in excess of $1 million for the alleged “raid”, there have since been no public developments in that case. At the time of writing, the co-owner of FaZe Clan – a hugely successful esports organization – is still yet to personally respond to the article published by TMZ on October 30. However, the tabloid news website did get a brief statement from his representatives on the hotel room accusations. “FaZe Clan and Encore are working together to resolve this matter,” the article states.

Ninja has revealed, however, that he will be sending three of the best trickshotters that compete in his trials all the way to New York City, where they will be able to compete for up to $3 million. The popular Twitch streamer is set to announce further details for the competition during a YouTube video on May 15, but one of his teasers, which was posted to Twitter, caught the eye of FaZe Banks and he’s already put forward three potential competitors that he believes would succeed at the event. FaZe Banks throws unexpected 7AM party at the Hollywood Sign – Dexerto
FaZe Banks throws unexpected 7AM party at the Hollywood Sign Instagram: @banksYouTuber and FaZe Clan co-founder Ricky Banks is turning heads across the net after uploading footage of a totally unexpected party he threw at the Hollywood Sign, bright and early in the morning. Aside from his exploits in the online entertainment world, Banks is also known for throwing fantastic parties — even to the extent of getting police involved after angry neighbors get tired of the rowdiness. However, the current global health crisis has put a halt to many gatherings held by influencers, with the likes of TikTok star Bryce Hall and YouTuber Jake Paul sparking international outrage after throwing their own house parties in spite of social distancing ordinances. That being said, it looks like the situation isn’t putting a damper on Banks’ party plans, as he filled his Instagram stories with videos of an unannounced rager he threw on the morning of December 9 at 7AM. The party was held at the Hollywood Sign, and featured the DJ-ing skills of Israeli DJ Itay Galo, who pumped out the tunes as the partygoers danced to the beat. It doesn’t seem like Banks is the only mastermind behind the gathering, though; reports state that entertainment organization ‘The Hosts Group’ organized the party with a number of other influencers, and had a permit to host their shindig at the famous Hollywood Sign. In spite of concerns regarding social distancing, The Hosts Group also stated that all party-goers were properly tested and had quarantined beforehand, with temperature checks available on-site. TMZ reported that law enforcement had even been called by concerned parties, but police confirmed that the gathering had been organized for a shoot of some sort — so it wasn’t merely a fun get-together. Luckily, it looks like Banks threw as safe a party as can be held during these uncertain times, and his footage of the event is certainly something to behold, with the urban California scenery spreading out below him. Let us know your take on influencer parties and FaZe Bank’s Hollywood Sign rager on Twitter @DexertoTrending!

FaZe Banks surprises 13-year-old Fortnite pro H1ghsky with celebrity meet-up – Dexerto
FaZe Banks surprises 13-year-old Fortnite pro H1ghsky with celebrity meet-up FaZe Banks, YouTubeFaZe Clan made waves in the esports realm after signing 13-year-old Fortnite pro H1ghsky in mid-March – but the new member had much more in store than mere competition. FaZe COO Ricky Banks spent a day out on the town with the youngster during a vlog uploaded on March 31, where he spoiled H1ghsky with a series of lavish surprises as a welcome present into FaZe Clan. After spending over $1,400 at the Gucci store in Rodeo Drive, Banks took H1ghsky to meet two celebrities of the music world – rapper Lil Yachty (otherwise known as FaZe Boat) and EDM artist Marshmello. Although short, Lil Yachty made his visit count by giving viewers a sneak peek of his birthday present for controversial rapper Danielle ‘Bhad Babie’ Bregoli, showing off a massive neck chain with her stage name emblazoned in diamonds. Banks later brought out Marshmello as a final surprise for H1ghsky, who was left speechless after embracing the artist with a big hug. FaZe Banks embraces FaZe H1ghsky after gifting the 13-year-old Fortnite pro over $1,400 in Gucci footwear. FaZe H1ghsky is the org’s youngest professional Fortnite player ever, joining the ranks of massively popular pro Turner ‘Tfue’ Tenney, Dennis ‘Cloak’ Lepore, and Nate Hill, among others. In fact, H1ghsky’s signing was accidentally leaked beforehand, thanks to a hilarious slip-up by TSM Ali ‘Myth’ Kabbani during a Twitch stream on March 19. During his stream, Myth asked H1ghsky about his experience in FaZe – which led to a humorous response from the youngster, while others in the chat implored Myth to “Delete the VOD!” “Wait, was it not announced yet?” Myth asked, later making an unsuccessful attempt to cover up the leak. “What I meant was, how’s phasing through builds?” Meet the new youngest member of FaZe Clan… :handshake: @FaZe_H1ghSky1 pic.twitter.com/7lCPyfDgAP — FaZe Clan (@FaZeClan) March 22, 2019 Although young, H1ghsky’s signage to FaZe comes as little surprise, as he was already a partnered streamer on Twitch with over 200,000 followers on the platform due to his Fortnite prowess. H1ghsky isn’t the only youngster that the org has taken into their fold, by far; FaZe likewise brought 15-year-old Fortnite player ‘Sway’ on board a few days prior, likely thanks to his gaming skills and impressive following on social media. FaZe Clan’s influx of young players could be due to the rules laid out by the Fortnite World Cup, which announced an qualifying age range of 13 years and up. With the org continuing to add players to their roster ahead of the Cup, there’s no telling who fans could see make an appearance next.

FaZe Banks speaks out after FaZe Rain uploads concerning video – Dexerto
FaZe Banks speaks out after FaZe Rain uploads concerning video FaZe Rain, FaZe Banks – YouTubeFaZe Clan co-founder and YouTube star Ricky Banks has spoken out after fans expressed concern over a video posted to Twitter by fellow org co-owner Nordan ‘FaZe Rain’ Shat. FaZe Rain posted a video to social media on June 27, where he addressed the topic of his “passing” and alluded to a “purpose” he was destined to fulfill. “I feel like the reason I haven’t passed yet is because I’m supposed to fulfill some purpose,” he said. “But I feel like I have fulfilled that purpose. I gave millions of kids hope to believe and achieve whatever they want. Every person I was around, I always tried to make them the best that they were.” Considering Rain’s recent exit from the FaZe Clan content house and his subsequent Twitter posts airing out the issue last month, fans took to the net to sound off about the YouTuber’s alarming video, tagging multiple members of the organization in hopes of checking in on him. Banks responded to one fan’s tag shortly thereafter, clarifying that Rain was safe. “I just woke up / spoke to him on the phone,” he explained. “He’s good.” Thankfully, Rain is alright — but that isn’t stopping fans from voicing their worries about his mental health in wake of his concerning Twitter posts after being removed from the FaZe House in late May. Stating that his “sad boy energy” was too high, Rain also appeared to lash out at FaZe, itself, claiming he’d been “left on the streets” despite his hard work for the organization. https://twitter.com/FaZe_Rain/status/1266032509734674432?s=20 However, it seems that both Banks and Rain came to an agreeable solution, as evidenced by their Twitter interactions in the midst of the drama, with the two appearing to bandy about the idea of a private nurse in his home. Twitter is the last place any of this should be talked about and you’re conveniently leaving A LOT out. I’m not gunna get tweeted at everyday and be made to feel like the bad guy. If you wana share the entire story of what’s been happening on Twitter then we can. This is fucked. — FaZe Banks (@Banks) June 4, 2020 That’s not all; Rain has also spoken out about the situation via his Instagram story following his June 27 video, stating that he was removed from the FaZe House on his birthday and that he’s also gone through a recent breakup. While Rain has opened up about his struggles with mental health in the past, fans and viewers continue to voice their support in light of these latest developments for the beloved FaZe founder.

FaZe Banks shows insane behind the scenes look at Mr Beast’s $100k airsoft afterparty – Dexerto
FaZe Banks shows insane behind the scenes look at Mr Beast’s $100k airsoft afterparty FaZe Banks, YouTubeFaZe Clan COO and popular YouTuber Ricky Banks has a reputation for throwing wild parties, and his celebration of MrBeast’s $100k YouTuber battle royale is no exception. Banks gave fans a look into the project during a YouTube video on March 10, in which he admitted to spending over $4,000 on liquor and accessories for the battle royale’s afterparty. As if that wasn’t enough, he even commissioned a backlit Clout Gang x MrBeast ice sculpture, which party goers could drink from through dual spickets near the sculpture’s base. The party featured a slew of YouTube stars, along with the likes of Drama Alert’s KEEMSTAR, David Dobrik, Mike Majlak, Dwarf Mamba, and even adult film star Riley Reid, who was featured on Logan Paul’s ‘imPaulsive’ podcast in December 2018. In fact, Banks’ party was so packed that it attracted law enforcement, who ultimately ended up shutting the function down. Banks and MrBeast even joked about the incident on Twitter, with Banks writing, “Was it just me or did we throw the absolute best rager last night?” MrBeast responded with his own humorous take on the shutdown, tweeting, “It was so awesome, the cops wanted to be there.” It was so awesome the cops wanted to be there. https://t.co/AbJ00ZyXPt — MrBeast (@MrBeastYT) March 7, 2019 MrBeast’s battle royale challenge put up a whopping $100k prize, and showcased major YouTubers and Twitch streamers alike – including Jack ‘CouRage’ Dunlop, Anthony Padilla, and Imane ‘Pokimane’ Anys, with commentary from KEEMSTAR. officially, @mrbeastyt’s $200k IRL youtube battle royale is going to brake youtube. find me in the photo, win 200k smooth apologies for the grammatical error above. pic.twitter.com/YGKIeMyRco — Anthony Padilla (@anthonypadilla) March 7, 2019 While MrBeast hasn’t given a set date for the video’s release, he teased a possibility of Tuesday, March 12 – so fans should be sure to keep their eyes peeled to get in on the action, should his prediction hold true.

FaZe Banks slammed for “celebrating” at club hours before FaZe Clan reboot – Dexerto
FaZe Banks slammed for “celebrating” at club hours before FaZe Clan reboot FaZe Banks / Zac BiaFaZe Banks has faced backlash after he was spotted partying at a club just a few hours before kicking the majority of FaZe Clan members. On April 27, CEO FaZe Banks made the announcement that FaZe Clan had decided to kick many of its new and long-serving members as part of a “reboot.” This instantly wiped out tons of their creators and has left just 14 official members on the organization’s roster. Overall, the situation has led to uproar among FaZe fans and the wider community. However, it has not been helped by FaZe Banks who has now been accused of “celebrating” while FaZe kicked its members. Banks was seen via his Instagram story and clips from DJ friend Zack Bia of him partying it up in a club into the early hours of the morning, just a few hours before the official announcement was posted. This has not sat well with fans, who have slammed him for his actions. “Aint no way bro doing that,” one responded, as another added: “That bad karma is gonna hit.” “Bro partying and s**t like he didn’t just destroy a whole dynasty,” a fan said, as creator ScubaRyan commented: “All the old members crying and he over here vibing.” FaZe’s self-titled “reboot” has led to many of the former members flooding YouTube and Twitter/X to hit out after suddenly being dropped. “You guys are fake as f*** or I’m in FaZe,” Fakie responded after he claimed he was previously reassured that he would always be a member. Top Warzone streamer Kalei broke down crying during her Twitch stream and said: “They treated it like we were f**king stupid. The way that it was handled, nobody deserved that.”

FaZe Banks says all FaZe staff are “fired” after becoming CEO – Dexerto
FaZe Banks says all FaZe staff are “fired” after becoming CEO FaZe ClanFaZe Clan’s Richard ‘Banks’ Bengtson has said that all FaZe employees are “fired” after becoming the organization’s new CEO. Banks joined FaZe back in 2013, and it’s fair to say the organization wouldn’t be where it is without his help in transforming what was a Call of Duty sniping and trickshotting clan into the prestigious esports and gaming entertainment brand we know today. Once valued at a staggering $1 billion, FaZe Clan became a publicly traded company in 2022, listed on the Nasdaq exchange. But, the last few years have been nothing but a bumpy ride for the organization, leading to its share price plummeting — and potentially facing a delisting from the exchange. However, in October 2023, FaZe had a saving grace, with GameSquare, the owner of Complexity Gaming and Code Red Esports, stepping into a “definitive agreement” to acquire the organization. FaZe Banks plans to fire all FaZe employees after acquistion The acquisition is finally in its closing stages, with both GameSquare and FaZe stockholders having now approved the merger. Once the deal is done, FaZe Clan will have Banks take the reigns as the organization’s new Chief Executive Officer, while other long-standing members Temperrr and Apex will be named President and COO respectively. And while there’s still time to go until they’re back in control, Banks has already outlined his first steps as CEO, stating in a social media post on February 27 that staff will be “fired.” It isn’t the first time Banks has revealed similar intentions either. Back when the GameSquare and FaZe Clan acquisition was first announced in October, Bengston claimed the first thing he planned to do was “chop” and clear out the organization of its employees. With that said, we’ll just have to wait and see what happens when the deal goes through, which will see FaZe operate as a wholly owned subsidiary and independent division of GameSquare.

FaZe Banks, Shane Dawson, and other top creators hit out at YouTube’s trending algorithm FaZe Banks, Shane Dawson – YouTube / YouTubeYouTube’s trending algorithm is coming under fire, after popular YouTubers like Shane Dawson, FaZe Banks, MrBeast, and more spoke out on the page’s problems. Dawson published a tweet on February 27 in which he took issue with the trending page, suspecting that YouTube’s algorithm for popular content doesn’t reflect actual trends on the site. “I wish the trending page on YouTube was real,” Dawson wrote. “I’m not trying to be shady, it just genuinely annoys me that there’s nowhere to see what’s actually trending.” i wish the trending page on youtube was real. every time i wanna see what’s going viral i never know where to look. im not trying to be shady it just geninuinley annoys me that there’s nowhere to see what’s actually trending. anyone else feel that way? am i alone here? haha pic.twitter.com/a7HxZep44D — Shane Dawson (@shanedawson) February 25, 2019 Dawson wasn’t alone in his sentiments; FaZe’s Ricky Banks echoed his thoughts, writing, “It’s been this same story for years, it sucks. …sucks not having access to what’s actually poppin’.” This isn’t the first time Banks has expressed dissatisfaction with YouTube, either. He called out the site during a vlog on February 24, calling the platform “dogshit.” It’s been this same story for years, it sucks.. like you said not even as a YouTuber, but even just as a viewer.. sucks not having access to what’s actually poppin — FaZe Banks (@Banks) February 26, 2019 Popular YouTuber Jimmy ‘MrBeast’ Donaldson also chimed in on the conversation, noting that YouTube’s trending page has been improving. “To be fair, they have been getting better,” MrBeast wrote. “Yesterday, me and Pewdiepie were at the top (which never used to happen).” To be fair, they have been getting better. Yesterday me and Pewdiepie were at the top (which never used to happen). — MrBeast (@MrBeastYT) February 26, 2019 MrBeast’s statement holds true – PewDiePie’s episode of ‘Meme Review’ starring Elon Musk reigned at the top of the trending page following its long-awaited release on February 22. While YouTube’s trending page continues to fluctuate, the site is currently in hot water with top creators for its policy on “inappropriate comments,” in response to its site-wide pedophile issue. https://www.dexerto.com/entertainment/elon-musk-finally-hosts-pewdiepies-meme-review-last-ditch-effort-fend-t-series-391194YouTube stated that it would demonetize videos that could be potentially harmful to minors – even if said content fell within the site guidelines. While YouTube has expressed that this is merely a short-term solution to the problem, many YouTubers were unsatisfied with the policy, including the likes of Colleen Ballinger and CinnamonToastKen, among others.

FaZe Banks reveals he slept with Tana Mongeau amid Jake Paul wedding rumors – Dexerto
FaZe Banks reveals he slept with Tana Mongeau amid Jake Paul wedding rumors FaZe Banks, Tana Mongeau, Jake Paul – InstagramThe fast-paced romance between controversial YouTubers Jake Paul and Tana Mongeau is shaking up the internet, after Paul proposed to Tana on her 21st birthday after just two months of publicly dating – but another social media star is revealing some major tea in the midst of their alleged wedding plans. While sources close to the couple claim that Paul and Mongeau have already set up an official date for their forthcoming wedding, some history between Tana and another personality in the space might put a wrench in the festivities. FaZe co-owner Ricky Banks appeared on an episode of Adam ‘Adam22’ Grandmaison’s ‘No Jumper’ podcast on June 25, where he was presented with an awkward question regarding his relationship with Mongeau. 600Adam22 asked if Banks had ever “had a thing” with the YouTuber, later clarifying that he wanted to know if the two had gotten physical – to which Banks had a hesitant answer. “Tana’s the homie,” Banks began. “Honestly, I’m gonna be real with you, I don’t remember. Yeah. Fuck, dude. …Wait – did I actually admit to this? Did that just happen?” Banks went on to apologize to both Tana and his current girlfriend, Alissa Violet, claiming that his alleged fling with Mongeau happened “way, way back” and that he’d kept it a secret for years. “Yeah, it’s no big deal,” he continued. “The only reason why it’s a big deal is because I’m FaZe Banks and that’s Tana Mojo. I kept this a secret for three years!” Banks’ statement could make his recently repaired relationship with Jake Paul a bit tense, as the two went to war in 2017, after Alissa Violet accused Paul of abusing her when they dated – with Paul returning the favor by claiming that Banks had assaulted his assistant at a nightclub. This news comes smack in the middle of wedding rumors surrounding Mongeau and Paul, as well, who have allegedly penned the date for their ceremony on Friday, June 28 – just four days after Paul’s proposal. However, many in the space are raising their proverbial eyebrows in skepticism, with fans and critics alike questioning if their “wedding” is just a massive stunt for Tana’s MTV show, ‘Tana Turns 21’ – especially considering the fact that other YouTubers have faked their weddings, before. Two quick observations about Tana Mongeau: 1. Her engagement to Jake Paul is literally the most obvious publicity stunt I’ve ever seen. 2. Apparently she is only 21??? That confirms 100% of her story-time videos that blew her up are fake. None of that shit happens to a 17 y/o.— C:UsersdumbbitchDesktopgarbagetweets.txt (@berhett_) June 24, 2019 i just KNOW that jake paul and tana mongeau are fake dating, that engagement is just all for publicity — rose (@rosedaIes) June 24, 2019 The couple have joked about being married and even started a fake “family channel” in the past, leading to ample confusion around their alleged engagement – with even the likes of Logan Paul appearing not to believe the debacle is for real. Tana Mongeau claims that the engagement is legit, however, leaving fans waiting for their forthcoming Las Vegas wedding in the interim.

FaZe Banks reveals the consequences of $30k Vegas hotel trashing – Dexerto
FaZe Banks reveals the consequences of $30k Vegas hotel trashing FaZe co-founder Ricky Banks made front-page news after trashing an expensive Las Vegas hotel room, resulting in an estimated $30,000 in damages – and the star is finally speaking out about the incident. According to reports from TMZ, the star and his squad had turned a suite at the Encore At Wynn Las Vegas into a “disaster zone,” resulting in broken furniture, holes in the walls, and soil from plants scattered across the floor. A subsequent video of the damage proves this report true, showcasing a mass of debris strewn throughout the room – an offense that could have cost Banks up to five years in prison. However, it doesn’t look like this is a punishment the FaZe mogul will receive, as he admitted during an episode of Adam22’s “No Jumper” podcast in November. According to Banks, he wasn’t met with jail time, but rather a lifetime ban from the establishment – and a hefty fine. “It’s been resolved with the hotel and casino,” he revealed. “I’m eighty-sixed for life. I’m banned forever. …which is completely fine. Honestly, it sucks, because it really is like the best [hotel] in Vegas. …it cost a lot of f***ing money. I’m not gonna talk about how much money it cost.” In fact, the social media star revealed that he doesn’t even know the total amount of the fine, calling the incident “scary.” “We’ve got people,” he continued. “We’ve been talking from the beginning.” In spite of the serious consequences of going “full send,” he revealed a humorous plan he’d cooked up in order to avoid potential punishment, explaining that he’d tried to get his friends to beat him up and bounce to try and stage a mock crime. Unfortunately for Banks, this plan wasn’t agreed upon – but even though he managed to avoid jail time, he claims that it isn’t a case of celebrities getting special treatment, referring to pro Fortnite player FaZe Jarvis’s permaban from the game. “In his case, being famous and being a f***king figure, like, f***s him,” he explained. “…He can’t make content.” It seems that FaZe Clan has taken a slew of hard knocks lately – but that isn’t going to bring down esports’ biggest organization any time soon.

FaZe Banks reveals MrBeast almost joined FaZe Clan: “I missed on him twice” – Dexerto
FaZe Banks reveals MrBeast almost joined FaZe Clan: “I missed on him twice” YouTube: FaZe BanksFaZe Beast? It almost happened. FaZe Banks has revealed Jimmy ‘MrBeast’ Donaldson wanted to join FaZe Clan, and Banks turned him down not once, but twice. It’s hard to imagine a world where FaZe Beast is a thing, but apparently, it almost happened twice. That’s according to FaZe Banks, the founder and co-owner of the massive organization. He spilled the beans in a recent episode of the No Jumper podcast and lamented over the missed opportunity, describing at his “biggest f**k up.” However, there are no hard feelings about it, and they’re still in touch. “I still just know that it wouldn’t have ever worked long term, [but] when [we] originally started this CloutGang sh*t, I missed on him twice,” he said. FaZe Banks explained that MrBeast was “the biggest FaZe fan” and tried to join for the first time five years ago. But unfortunately, it didn’t eventuate because he “wasn’t a gamer,” which was their main focus at the time. MrBeast tried again once they started the CloutGang. “It wasn’t completely off the table because he was a substantially sized guy. Nothing compared to where he’s at now.” But in the end, he turned him away because he was “a great kid,” which didn’t fit the bill. The relevant part of the video starts at 6:55. It would have been hugely disappointing for MrBeast at the time. However, it all worked out for him, considering he’s now one of the most successful YouTubers of all time. FaZe Clan is still doing pretty well themselves. Sometimes things just aren’t meant to be. However, it’s not always the end of the world, and this is a textbook example.

FaZe Banks reveals reason behind break-up with Alissa Violet FaZe Banks/YouTubeFaZe Clan’s Ricky ‘Banks’ Banks has revealed their reason behind his break-up from Alissa Violet after the YouTube couple confirmed the news on Twitter. Banks and Alissa Violet have had a seemingly rocky relationship ever since the FaZe Clan member admitted to having a physical relationship with Tana Mongeau previously. The YouTube couple even confirmed on June 28 that they had a ‘fight’ but it wasn’t over Banks’ time with Mongeau. Yet, despite that, it all came to a head on July 6 when the pair spilled the beans on their break-up – confirming what many fans already feared. The pair had seemingly been split up longer than fans first thought.600 After the news surfaced late in the day, Banks quickly moved to dispel any potential rumors once Alissa had tweeted “single violet thrives.” The FaZe Clan star quickly offered up the reason behind their split. He responded: “Alissa and I decided about a month ago that we should take some time apart. Love that girl to death and always will. I’ll never say a bad word about her. This shits about as hard to deal with as it gets. Please respect our privacy through this,” with a broken heart emoji attached. Neither Banks or Violet have commented on the break-up since their initial tweets and considering their requests for privacy, there might not be a tell-all YouTube video hitting sub boxes anytime soon.

FaZe Banks reveals insane value of his NFTs after $200k investment – Dexerto
FaZe Banks reveals insane value of his NFTs after $200k investment Instagram: banksFaZe Clan co-owner Ricky ‘Banks’ Bengston has revealed the ludicrous value of his NFT portfolio, after initially investing $200,000. NFTs, or Non-Fungible Tokens, have grown exponentially in popularity throughout 2020 and 2021, with the most expensive NFTs selling for millions of dollars. The digital artwork comes in so many variations, with thousands of artists across the globe selling their work on marketplaces like OpenSea. One influencer that dove deep into the world of NFTs was Banks, owning a number of pieces that have skyrocketed in value since purchasing them — and now he’s opened up on what he thinks his portfolio is worth. Shortly after addressing offshore gambling accusations, the topic moved on to NFTs, with Banks explaining how entrepreneur Gary Vaynerchuk got him into them before detailing the real value of his investments. He explained on the BFFs podcast with Josh Richards and Barstool’s Dave Portnoy that he invested his initial $200k after Vaynerchuk’s suggestion, and it’s gone wild from there. “I currently own nine CryptoPunks, six Apes, these things are super blue-chip,” he explained. “I think the floor for a CryptoPunk right now is somewhere in the ballpark of $400,000.” When Richards asked how much he thinks he’s made from NFTs, Banks said: “I think conservatively — not ‘made’, not liquid… I’d say my portfolio right now is worth, a modest number, maybe $7-8 million.” Topic starts at 38:05 Banks goes on to add that he believes his portfolio will be worth around $10m by the end of the year, which would all be profit as he’s said he’s already taken back his initial $200k. While not every NFT is going to go to the moon, it’s fair to say that FaZe Banks has done seriously well with them — but insists that he’s still in it for the long haul. Only time will tell what his portfolio will look like and be worth years down the line.

FaZe Banks reveals how much money Tati may have made from James Charles beef – Dexerto
FaZe Banks reveals how much money Tati may have made from James Charles beef FaZe Banks, Tati Westbrook – YouTubeYouTube’s beauty community imploded after popular makeup guru Tati Westbrook made damaging claims against young influencer James Charles in her viral “Bye Sister” video – but FaZe co-owner Ricky Banks thinks there was more to Tati’s allegations than a mere “wakeup call.” Banks published a series of Tweets on May 18 appearing to accuse Tati of using her beef with Charles as a means to advertise her vitamin brand, ‘Halo Beauty,’ even demanding that she come forward with Halo’s profits in wake of the drama. However, Banks wasn’t finished speaking out on the debacle just yet; he went on to upload a video discussing the drama the very next day, where he called Tati’s actions “malicious” and “evil.” Hey Tati, @GlamLifeGuru would it be too much to ask to share Halo Beautys sales report over the last month. I think we’d all appreciate/ like to know the impact this scandal had on your products success. If none of it was about vitamins then it really shouldn’t matter, right? — FaZe Banks (@Banks) May 18, 2019 “She flat out lied, exaggerated, manipulated through that whole video,” Banks said of the issue, claiming that Tati made Charles out to be a “sexual predator” by alleging that he’d used his fame to “manipulate” a straight man’s sexuality. Banks even calculated an estimate of how much Tati likely earned from her “Bye Sister” video, speculating that Tati made at least $19.6 million in profits from Halo Beauty’s sales due to emotionally invested” fans and “impulse buys.” “If Tati’s video converted just 1% of the people who watched that video – just 1%, which is a very normal conversion rate – her product costs $40,” Banks explained. “…that would mean Tati and her company had sold $19.6 worth of product.” Banks isn’t alone in his thinking, either; YouTube king Felix ‘PewDiePie’ Kjellberg expressed similar sentiments in his own video on the matter, calling Tati’s video “an advertisement” for Halo Beauty. [Timestamp: 10:23 for mobile users] “What has that to do with Tati’s brands?” Felix said of her statement, laughingly. “This is an ad.” While PewDiePie went on to express sympathy for Tati in a later video, he still felt that the two ought to resolve their issues in private, arguing that Tati was “unjustified” in bringing their feud into the spotlight, considering the major damage done to Charles’ career and subscriber count. Tati has since claimed that she is taking a “digital break” from the drama and is collecting her thoughts before moving forward, while YouTuber Jeffree Star threatens to expose “receipts” about Charles’ “manipulative” behavior in response to his follow-up video on the matter.

FaZe Banks reveals insane CryptoPunk NFT profits after recent SaveTheKids scandal – Dexerto
FaZe Banks reveals insane CryptoPunk NFT profits after recent SaveTheKids scandal LarvaLabs / Instagram: FaZe BanksRichard ‘FaZe Banks’ Bengston has been buying and selling CryptoPunk NFTs in his latest financial endeavor, and he shared the insane profits he’s made from it so far on social media. NFTs (non-fungible tokens) might have boomed in early 2021, but they’re still a popular trend among internet personalities like FaZe Banks. He has been investing in CryptoPunks, NFTs that come in the form of unique collectible characters stored on the Ethereum blockchain, and he claims it has paid off big time. He sold one on August 1 for more than half a million dollars. The turnaround was so good; it covered the costs of the others he purchased, essentially making them free. And it seems like that was only the beginning. I just sold a CryptoPunk for $584,752. Made a half a million dollar flip in a month. I’m losing my fucking mind right now. pic.twitter.com/f6sh3hDdYl — FaZe Banks (@Banks) August 1, 2021 Banks bought another CryptoPunk this week and sold it for $250,o00 less than 48 hours later. It didn’t sell for as much as the last one, but it’s still impressive. Given the backlash he faced following crypto ‘pump and dump’ drama despite claiming he wasn’t involved, fans had mixed reactions to him boasting about it on social media. Still, he claimed people could make “life-changing money” from investing in NFTs like CryptoPunk, but only “if you know what you’re doing.” And in his case, it seems like he does, given that he’s pocketed $750,000 in less than a week. Bought a Crypto Punk 48 hours ago and just sold it for a PROFIT of almost +$250,000. There is life changing money in NFT’s if you know what you’re doing. pic.twitter.com/Dk7iwwBi71 — FaZe Banks (@Banks) August 6, 2021 Love it or hate it, it seems like NFTs are here to stay, and they’re deeply entwined with internet personalities and internet culture. Logan Paul has been offered $700,000 for an NFT, while banned Twitch streamer Jenelle ‘Indiefoxx’ Dagres is selling clips as NFTs, and the beloved ‘Charlie Bit My Finger’ video was sold as an NFT for $760,000. Banks is just yet another person cashing in on the trend, and according to his claims, it’s paid off.

After years of relocating from one iconic gaming house to another, FaZe Clan is now set to take its next step. Following close behind fellow industry juggernauts like 100 Thieves and Team SoloMid, FaZe is next up to unveil a massive new facility based in Los Angeles. But a quick walk-through with Banks showcased the enormity of this warehouse doubling as the future FaZe offices. “Sorry, but my office sh**ts on your office,” Banks joked as he gave fans a virtual tour of the facility. “The new FaZe warehouse is crazy.” Featuring an open plan design, desks were seen sprawled out across the vast warehouse. Scattered between was everything from a team meeting area to a full-fledged bar. Not only that, but there could even be a proper gym area featured in the new offices too, as Banks showed a bathroom area fit with lockers and showers for “the extra sweaty days.” While only a few employees appeared to be working out of the space already, FaZe is still recruiting in the ‘web3’ industry to fill out each desk. Mapping out the long-term plan, Banks teased this new facility will serve as the FaZe headquarters for “the next few years.” There’s no telling how far off we might be from a full reveal video. Given the warehouse was still quite barebones in this early glimpse, fans could still be waiting a while for a more in-depth tour. Keep your eyes peeled on social media for any new looks over the coming weeks.

FaZe Banks responds to crypto scam drama: “Somebody could go to f**king jail” – Dexerto
FaZe Banks responds to crypto scam drama: “Somebody could go to f**king jail” Instagram, @banksFaZe Clan continue to deal with the fallout from crypto “pump and dump” drama and the org’s founder, FaZe Banks, has revealed that it is a very real possibility that the cryptocurrency scammers face jail time. For context about the situation, after drama surrounding a pump-and-dump scam with the “Save the Kids” cryptocoin, four FaZe Clan members were punished by the organization. Kay was outright removed, while Jarvis, Nikan, and Teeqo were all suspended indefinitely. On a recent episode of the “Mom’s Basement” podcast, Banks — a founder and co-owner of the org — revealed his perspective about the drama and explained just how risky the situation became. Apparently, Banks did not know about the “Save the Kids” token issue until Coffeezilla shared a video describing it. After seeing that video, Banks immediately got on a call with FaZe execs to punish the involved parties. Now, he thinks it’s not far-fetched to believe jail could be the next consequence. This “Save the Kids” situation has flown across the internet. From superstar Twitch streamer xQc mocking the involved members to lawyers chiming in on the legal ramifications, a variety of different people have taken notice and reacted. FaZe Clan, however, have remained mostly quiet — quickly punishing their members and then proceeding to deal with things behind closed doors. Banks is changing that now, though, as he spoke up about the “greed and selfishness” involved in the situation. He suggests that he had no idea about anything, but that he was made aware by Coffeezilla’s video and has spent the rest of his time figuring out how to proceed. In the podcast, he reveals that Kay and the others have yet to respond because they are knee-deep in legal discussions. After it was noted that jail is on the table for crypto scams, Banks mentioned that such extreme consequences are not “a crazy, wild thought.” Further, he boiled down the gravity of the situation: “Somebody could go to f**king jail.” As for who that somebody is, FaZe Kay is the most notable name involved right now. Many have centered on his role in the scandal, pointing out that he was the most active alleged scammer and that his outright removal from FaZe indicates a higher level of guilt. At the moment, Kay and the others have still yet to respond and it is unclear where the situation will lead. For now, Banks is simply partly mad at his friends, partly worried for them, and fully involved in trying to make sure this sort of situation never happens again.

FaZe Banks responds to Shane Dawson calling him by the wrong name in Jake Paul docuseries – Dexerto
FaZe Banks responds to Shane Dawson calling him by the wrong name in Jake Paul docuseries YouTuber Shane Dawson had a few hilarious moments in his documentary series over controversial social media star Jake Paul, one of which was unintentionally calling FaZe Banks by the wrong name. Banks responded to a Tweet from a user that pointed out the blunder, which noted that Dawson kept calling Banks by his team name, FaZe, rather than his last name, Banks. “Lmao he really does,” Banks responded to the Tweet. Dawson took the callout in good spirits and responded to Banks’s reply in kind. “HAHAHA I CAN’T STOP 😭,” he replied. This development made many fans worry for Shane’s sleep schedule, which he revealed had been interrupted by pulling an all-nighter to edit the series’ final episode. However, others were not as concerned, with one user replying, “It irritates me so much. That’s like calling Jake Paul ‘Team 10,’ lol.” It seems as though Banks is taking the error in good humor, although he defended himself against further allegations stemming from the series’ discussion of a 2017 incident where former Team 10 assistant, Meg Zelly, claimed that he had assaulted her in a nightclub. Banks took to Twitter to further explain his side of the story, claiming that the nightclub’s CCTV footage proved that he had not assaulted Zelly. While Banks is sticking to his account of events, Jake Paul and girlfriend Erika Costell stated that Zelly had filed a police report over the incident during the documentary’s sixth episode. Dawson’s series has broken YouTube records, topping its trending page with each upload and even surpassing major Netflix shows in terms of veiwership.

FaZe Banks responds to Charli D’Amelio dating rumors following hand holding video – Dexerto
FaZe Banks responds to Charli D’Amelio dating rumors following hand holding video Instagram: charlidamelio, banksFaZe Banks has responded to rumors that he’s secretly dating Charli D’Amelio after a video surfaced seemingly showing the two stars appearing to hold hands at Coachella. The CEO of FaZe Clan, FaZe Banks, was allegedly spotted holding hands with TikToker Charli D’Amelio over the weekend at The Neon Carnival Coachella Afterparty. After fans got ahold of the video, on April 14, Banks tweeted his response to the two supposedly walking hand-in-hand. “TikTok’s r*******, CD and my actual gf are really good friends. Weirdos,” he slammed the claims. Despite him mentioning his “gf,” there were no signs of the unknown woman at Coachella. Though neither have confirmed it was them, Banks called TikTok “r*******” for their speculation. However, the duo posted photos of themselves to their Instagram stories wearing outfits similar to the couple in the viral video. Fans of both personalities were quick to call him out for cheating. “Nah homie you got caught,” responded one fan. “Once a cheater always a cheater,” wrote another. “CD is worth it, it’s ok, nk need to lie,” said an additional fan. Banks, who dated actress Alissa Violet from 2017-2019, is also making some serious business moves, as he just fired over 100 employees from FaZe Clan during its rebranding. Banks’ FaZe Clan is a professional esports and entertainment organization consisting of gamers across the globe who compete in multiplayer video game competitions. The group was created by Banks in 2010. D’Amelio, however, rose to fame in 2019 by making TikTok videos of herself dancing. She currently has 153m followers on the platform. Though both Banks and D’Amelio may have some explaining to do, the status of their relationship, according to Banks, is only on the friendship level. D’Amelio has not spoken out about their alleged romance.

FaZe Banks responds to backlash after criticizing popular Hapebeast NFTs – Dexerto
FaZe Banks responds to backlash after criticizing popular Hapebeast NFTs HAPEBEAST/Instagram: BanksFaZe Clan owner Ricky ‘Banks’ Bergstrom has responded to backlash after he criticized the insanely popular ‘Hapebest’ NFTs that are soaring in hype. The growth of NFTs in 2021 especially has been remarkable, continuing into the new year, and Banks has been a huge driving force when it comes to influencers pushing the popularity of these pieces of digital art. From CryptoPunks to Bored Apes, to just about any piece created by Beeple, the most expensive NFTs can sell for millions of dollars. While Hapebeast pieces aren’t quite at that level — they haven’t even been revealed yet, with reveal currently scheduled for February 1 — they’ve quickly become insanely popular. The collection of 8,000 apes, styled with the ‘Hypebeast’ look seemingly finetuned to perfection, hasn’t managed to convince Banks, however. In a series of posts to his Instagram story, Banks explained why he looked into Hapebeast — which has been renamed to HAPE Prime — and decided not to buy in, despite the hype behind it. Banks said: “I’ve kept my eye on it and based on the Twitter Spaces I just heard I am hard passing on this one. Just not for me. Won’t get into it, ‘cause there’s no point, but I felt the need to share cause I’ve been asked so much.” He then said that after speaking about it, he had people with the Hapebeast profile picture “talking sh*t” to him. So he explained: “First of all the very first thing I hear in the Spaces is about how roadmaps are bulls**t and all these other projects are over-promising and that they don’t need a roadmap and those are based in “fiction.” Then immediately go on to promise this being the “fashion winner” in NFT’s.” Banks added: “This project’s only driver is its hype. That’s clearly what the thing is rooted in, hype. The IP is a literal play on Hypebeast. Artificially/ marketed Discord with way too many people in it … My honest answer is I believe anyone buying this @ 9 ETH (+$20,000) is going to get super f**king rekt and it pains me to see that … Made some people mad with this one, but I guess that’s the cost of being honest.” Banks’ opinion on the Hapebeast project is clearly one he feels very strongly about, and it’s also one that those in the NFT space take seriously. Since his posts, the floor price has dropped from 9.25 ETH to around 7.69 at the time of writing, despite the continuous drop in value of ETH.

FaZe Banks reminisces about a KEEMSTAR good deed back in 2013 – Dexerto
FaZe Banks reminisces about a KEEMSTAR good deed back in 2013 FaZe Clan co-owner Ricky ‘Banks’ Banks recalled a time where, with the help of KEEMSTAR, he and other FaZe members helped out a ten year old who had been bullied online. Since Modern Warfare 2, many young CoD players have aspired to be members of one of the most famous gaming, esports and entertainment organizations, FaZe Clan. But, one on unfortunate occasion, a group of online players pretended to be FaZe members to ‘troll’ a 10 year old into thinking he could join the organization simply by changing his Xbox Live username. Changing your Xbox username would cost money on the Xbox 360, so this young kid was tricked into spending time and money, and when he found it was all a joke, he began to cry, in a video which was then shared online. After seeing the video, YouTuber KEEMSTAR reached out to the young FaZe fan, and through his connections with the organization, made his dream come true. Inviting Banks, Apex, Pamaj and GwidT, the fan played some Black Ops 2 with them. Banks shared the memory on Twitter on November 7, now five years later. Remember this? I legit got the chills watching this.. cc: @FaZeApex @Pamaj @GwidT wow we really are fkn legends huh boys? https://t.co/R0hJdc4qSu (forgot the link, I’m a fkn moron) — FaZe Banks (@Banks) November 7, 2018 KEEMSTAR, who has remained a controversial figure in the YouTube community for most of his career, known best for his show ‘DramaAlert’, has even been called a bully himself at times by his detractors. But, as his video from 2013 makes clear, he believes there to be a distinction between ‘trolling’ and bullying. After seeing the video again, KEEMSTAR asks Banks where that ‘good person’ went, but Banks reckons he has never changed. You can watch the full video from 2013 below, where KEEMSTAR helped out a young FaZe Clan member.

FaZe Banks responds to assault allegations following Shane Dawson’s docuseries over Jake Paul – Dexerto
FaZe Banks responds to assault allegations following Shane Dawson’s docuseries over Jake Paul Shane Dawson’s docuseries over popular YouTuber Jake Paul discussed the truth of FaZe Banks’s alleged assault on former Team 10 assistant Meg Zelly back in 2017. The assault was vehemently denied by Banks – and now he’s defending himself again, in response to further claims brought up by the documentary’s sixth episode. Banks responded to a Tweet from a user defending the claims, which cited the bruise on Zelly’s neck as undeniable evidence. “Dude, it didn’t happen,” Banks responded. “There was physical evidence supporting my side in way of a full security tape that has me doing absolutely nothing Meg described. I didn’t lay a fucking hand on that girl, and everyone knows it. Jake knows it, Meg (who they fired) knows it… get real.” Dude, it didn’t happen… there was physical evidence supporting my side in way of a full security tape that has me doing absolutely nothing meg described. I didn’t lay a fkn hand on that girl and everyone knows it. Jake knows it, Meg (who they fired knows it).. get real — FaZe Banks (@Banks) October 13, 2018 According to Team 10’s video explaining their side of the assault, Meg was clotheslined, put into a headlock, and even dragged by FaZe Banks inside of a nightclub. Read More: A new Vine app could be going live very soon – Erika Costell, girlfriend to Jake Paul, appeared to confirm these allegations in the newest episode of Dawson’s series, referencing a series of voicemails and texts she received from Zelly just after the event reportedly occurred. Dawson likewise confirmed that he had witnessed the messages in question. Costell then revealed that Zelly had filed a police report over the incident, and that she and Jake Paul both believed in the validity of her testimony. It looks like the drama from last year won’t die down anytime soon, as Shane’s series seeks to take a deep dive into Jake’s past controversies – and there are still two episodes left to go.

FaZe Banks pays crypto scam victim over $10k in NFT and Ethereum – Dexerto
FaZe Banks pays crypto scam victim over $10k in NFT and Ethereum Instagram: banksJust a couple of weeks after FaZe Clan found itself embroiled in its own cryptocurrency scam scandal, co-owner Ricky Banks has paid someone in the community $10,000 in Ethereum and NFT assets after being scammed. On July 1, FaZe Clan revealed that they removed Kay and suspended Teeqo, Jarvis and Nikan following crypto scam allegations. Only Kay has spoken publicly so far, explaining that he is going through the legal proceedings in a short video. Their involvement in the Save the Kids altcoin invited some criticism to FaZe, despite the organization itself not being directly involved, and the involved members could allegedly be facing prison time and seven-figure fines. While Banks suggested the door may never be fully closed for these creators with FaZe Clan, he has spoken a lot about his love for blockchain tech, NFTs and the crypto space. He even helped 100 Thieves CEO Matthew ‘Nadeshot’ Haag pick out his $73k ‘The Thief’ CryptoPunk. As such a huge fan and promotor of the crypto space, Banks saw a collector that got scammed on Twitter and decided to lend a helping hand. “Super unfortunate stuff brother,” he said in response to fan Quill’s tweet. “He promised you a Bored Ape, a Cool Cat and .5 ETH? Saw you followed me so figured I’d make it right & restore balance in your wallet myself. “Just transferred everything he promised to you. Keep them safe pls [sic], the package ran me 6 ETH.” Super unfortunate stuff brother. He promised you a Bored Ape, a Cool Cat and .5 ETH huh? Saw you followed me so figured I’d make it right & restore balance in your wallet myself. Just transferred everything he promised to you. Keep them safe pls, the package ran me 6 ETH. Enjoy❤️ pic.twitter.com/ScGdvRMfBB — FaZe Banks (@Banks) July 14, 2021 At the time of the transfer, six Ethereum would’ve been equal to around $11,600, though Banks would’ve also had to pay a gas fee on the coins and NFTs. Needless to say, Quill was delighted and is even hosting an NFT giveaway to celebrate his great fortune in Banks paying him back.

FaZe Banks finally reaches major YouTube milestone after 8 weeks of uploads – Dexerto
FaZe Banks finally reaches major YouTube milestone after 8 weeks of uploads FaZe Banks, InstagramFaZe Clan’s Ricky Banks has finally reached a major milestone on YouTube, sealing an incredible return to the video sharing platform. The content creator returned from his six-month hiatus away from his YouTube channel on February 24, admitting that he had to stop because he just wasn’t enjoying it at the time. Now, he is uploading new videos on a weekly basis and has been rewarded by his ever-growing fanbase, eclipsing a milestone of subscribers that he had been hovering around for a long time after posting a girlfriend swap video featuring popular Fortnite player Turner ‘Tfue’ Tenney on April 14. FaZe Banks reaches major YouTube milestone Banks finally reached a landmark five million subscribers on YouTube after eight weeks of new uploads to his channel. These videos include a huge surprise for his girlfriend Alissa Violet as she got the car of her dreams during an upload on April 7, as well as treating a 13-year old Fortnite pro with a celebrity meet-up on May 31. That’s not all, though. The YouTuber has been posting a variety of other videos as well since his return, as he was given an incredible makeover by James Charles – which was a little different to what many of his fans might have been expecting. (FaZe Banks’ most recent YouTube video can be found below, featuring Tfue) Can FaZe Banks reach six million by the end of 2019? It might have taken a long time for FaZe Banks’ channel to reach the five million mark, but some fans will look towards the next goal and the grind towards six million subscribers is now very much underway. There’s no doubt, however, that with more constant uploads, as well as plenty of special guests like Tfue and others, he would be in pole position to at least reach near the six million mark by the end of 2019. It might be a bit of a long shot in that timeframe – but a full year of uploads without time off would surely give him a better chance. Can he pull it off? Well, only time will tell.

FaZe Banks joins New England Patriots to welcome 2020 draft picks – Dexerto
FaZe Banks joins New England Patriots to welcome 2020 draft picks Twitter: PatriotsThe NFL’s New England Patriots officially recruited FaZe Clan owner and lifelong Pats fan Ricky ‘Banks’ Banks to welcome in their picks in the 2020 draft. FaZe Clan already had a relationship with the NFL with a Draft-a-thon collaboration, that saw them working on content surrounding the Draft as well as a line of FaZe Clan x NFL merchandise. Banks takes it further though, being picked up by his team to bring in the new season, welcome the new recruits, and explain why the Patriots mean so much to him. Posting shortly after the Draft got underway, the Patriots explained that Banks has “been a fan since day one,” and “has a message for the newest members of the squad.” In the video message, Banks explains what the team means to him, how he came to be a fan, and his experience taking his family to the 2019 Super Bowl, in which New England beat the Los Angeles Rams. Finally, he left a message to whoever New England recruits, simply saying “welcome home, baby,” and urging any new Draft picks to “hit [him] up,” likely growing a rapport with them like he somehow seems to have with New England legend Tom Brady. .@FaZeClan’s @Banks has been a #Patriots fan since day one. Tonight, he has one message for the newest members of the squad: “”Welcome home, baby.”” pic.twitter.com/ThGJE95RHK — New England Patriots (@Patriots) April 24, 2020 In the message, Banks also addresses how esports and FaZe themselves are doing compared to the Patriots. He said: “To imagine that there’s kids out there that feel the same way about FaZe, and maybe about me, as I do about the Patriots, is actually f**king crazy. It gets me emotional just talking about it.” On the opening night of the 2020 NFL Draft, New England actually traded out their first-round pick to the Los Angeles Chargers, meaning that, at the time of writing, the Patriots don’t have any new recruits – but Banks will get to celebrate on Day 2 when his team picks up a few players, instead. Many professional athletes are using the ongoing global crisis to actually get involved with the gaming and esports world – including the likes of Super Bowl winners Patrick Mahomes and Tyreek Hill mocking CoD pro Slacked over his Warzone skills. So while the Patriots aren’t the first to dip their hands in the gaming sphere, this is definitely huge for Banks – and perhaps a sign of more to come.

FaZe Banks lays off 110 employees in effort to keep company alive – Dexerto
FaZe Banks lays off 110 employees in effort to keep company alive Instagram: banksBanks says that FaZe Clan has already cut 110 employees and plans to shrink the company further during the rebrand. In October 2023 GameSquare, the owners of Code Red Esports and Complexity Gaming, acquired FaZe Clan which put three of the original members back in a position of power. One of those members being Banks, who would become the CEO of FaZe Clan. Banks shared his plans for rebranding FaZe Clan upon being appointed CEO, declaring that everyone within the organization was “fired” with his promotion. He has now confirmed on a podcast that he followed through on this statement, leading to a significant downsizing of the company. FaZe Clan has moved from 140 employees to just 30 and Banks says that he ideally wants that number to go down to 10 in the future. But employees aren’t the only thing Banks is hoping to cut down on. An excess of content creators may also be on the chopping block. “Us paying members to put FaZe in their name…that doesn’t work. It’s whack, I want no part of that, it doesn’t do anything for either side,” said Banks during the podcast. Members of the community agreed with Banks’ idea of shrinking the organization and bringing it back to its roots. With some comparing the strategy of Offline TV versus 100 Thieves. “I get what he’s saying. Look at OTV, the reason why they’ve (somehow) been around for as long as they have is because they kept the roster small, close-knit, and everyone is on the same page like what he’s envisioning here. He wants FaZe to be more like them than 100T.” explained one commenter. Despite FaZe Clan having several content creators under its brand, this might not be the case for long if Banks is serious about reducing the organization’s size. However, as of now, there hasn’t been a mass exodus of FaZe Clan creators.

Despite his lack of knowledge on the Fortnite scene, Stumbo researched equipment used by the game’s top players, gifting his son Tfue’s signature Ducky One 2 mini keyboard, Ninja’s DT 990 pro headset, and other impressive equipment. Stumbo later released a video of his son, Hunter, reacting to the present, which ended in an emotional embrace between the two that had viewers across the internet holding back tears. FaZe Banks hits back at criticism over involvement with crypto – Dexerto
FaZe Banks hits back at criticism over involvement with crypto Twitter/X: probablynothingFaZe CEO Banks has offered his response to the criticism around his focus on cryptocurrency as he “reboots” the esports organization from the ground up. FaZe Clan is in the middle of a major overhaul after laying off 110 employees earlier this year, including many of its top content creators. After kicking all but fourteen influencers, FaZe founded a new content house with four new members… but that isn’t the only big change the organization has experienced lately. In March 2024, Banks revealed a new content and media platform called CTV that’s focused on cryptocurrency. This move has seen plenty of skepticism from critics in the space, especially as he’s dropped hints about getting into crypto gaming a la Dr Disrespect’s Deadrop. Although FaZe has quite a history with cryptocurrency, this latest move has sparked some outrage among fans of the organization, who fear the org will become a crypto company — something he addressed in a CTV episode on May 7. In the video, Banks argued that he and his fellow crypto investors were pioneers in the industry, arguing that the future will be inundated with cryptocurrency, much like it currently is with the internet and social media. “Like, there were internet deniers, you know what I’m saying? In 2024, you no longer can deny the internet. Everyone’s participating in this tech whether they know it or not, whether they want to or not. Unless you’re f*ckin’ Amish, right?” he said. “It’s gonna have to get to that point I think for there to be no comments that look like that. And obviously that’s probably far, far into the future, but we’re laying the foundation now.” He went on to explain why he’s no longer interested in creating vlogs on YouTube, saying that he “has” to focus on crypto as it’s his passion. “It doesn’t serve me, it doesn’t serve my soul,” he said of YouTube. “I have no fun doing it. Right now, all this shit you see me doing with FaZe is real work. It’s because I love this f*cking brand and I have to do this. …it’s very reminiscent of early gaming.” His colleagues agreed with him, saying that although much of crypto is a so-called ‘scam,’ FaZe Clan will uphold the 1% and bring skeptics “into the light.” It doesn’t look like Banks’ retort is sitting well with critics, a few of whom accused the FaZe CEO of failing to actually address anything.

FaZe Banks is Expanding the Clout House to THREE Hollywood Mansions – Reveals the Crazy Rental Price Per Month – Dexerto
FaZe Banks is Expanding the Clout House to THREE Hollywood Mansions – Reveals the Crazy Rental Price Per Month The internet celebrity collective known as the ‘Clout Gang’ will be expanding from one Hollywood mansion to three. One of the driving forces behind the group is FaZe Clan owner, Ricky ‘Banks’ Banks, took to Twitter to reveal the expansion. The original Clout House is filled with popular YouTubers such as Alissa Violet, RiceGum, Wolfieraps and many more, but the lack of space appears to be causing issues. Despite being a $14 million mansion with four floors, the sheer volume of high profile content creators who turn up at the house has led Clout Gang to expand outwards. Located in the heart of the Hollywood Hills, Banks confirmed via Twitter that he would be expanding by renting two more properties next to the original house. The decision to grow will result in a total of 26 bedrooms, allowing for way more space for high profile gamers and content creators to stay. Banks was forthcoming with his plans and included #Fortnite in his original Tweet, hinting that some of the available room will be taken up by professional players. As of July 1st we’ll have the 2 houses right next door (basically the same as mine) as well as the OG clout house.. 26 bedrooms to fill. Nobody’s making the kinds of moves we’re making. FaZe Banks has his own theory about Jake Paul’s FBI raid – Dexerto
FaZe Banks has his own theory about Jake Paul’s FBI raid YouTube: The Hollywood Fix / Instagram: Jake Paul[jwplayer mgzBNoPb] YouTube star Jake Paul shocked the net after his sprawling Team 10 mansion was raided by the FBI — and while he has yet to speak out on the subject, FaZe Clan co-founder Ricky Banks has a a theory. While Jake Paul has a history of controversy, no scandal has made the internet clutch its collective pearls quite like the FBI raid that occurred at his Calabasas mansion on August 5. Footage from the search showed that agents had confiscated a “small militia’s” worth of weapons from the Team 10 house, with reports later confirming that the raid was in connection with his appearance at a looting in Scottsdale, Arizona in May. However, precious little information has yet to come out in regards to the raid — but FaZe Banks shared some information he’d “heard” regarding the situation, theorizing that Paul may have fallen in with the wrong crowd. https://twitter.com/defnoodles/status/1291091138544168960?s=20 “Listen, you never wanna see some s**t like that,” Banks said of the issue in an August 11 interview with the Hollywood Fix. “I have a feeling — and I’ve heard a little bit honestly about it — I have a feeling that he’s just kinda like, in the mix with the wrong types of people.” “As somebody from this whole world, there’s so many people around trying to take advantage of you and trying to f**king… eat off you,” he continued. “You never wanna see anybody’s life get f**ked up.” (Topic begins at 0:30) Banks’ theory conflates with fan speculation, as Paul’s pseudo-manager, Armani Izadi, also appears to be involved, with his Vegas-based Graffiti Mansion likewise getting raided by the FBI. With Armani having plead guilty to pandering (read: pimping) and attempted battery with substantial bodily harm, many fans feel that Paul may have suffered from involvement with his manager-of-sorts due to his shady history. It is important to note that nothing has been set in stone just yet, so take these theories with a large grain of salt; although it doesn’t look like Izadi is too bothered by the FBI raid, according to his Instagram posts. For now, fans will have to watch and wait for more information to come out of arguably YouTube’s biggest scandal to date.

FaZe Banks Expresses Serious Concerns About Fousey’s Mental Health During KEEMSTAR’s Documentary – Dexerto
FaZe Banks Expresses Serious Concerns About Fousey’s Mental Health During KEEMSTAR’s Documentary Drama Alert / KEEMSTARFaZe Clan’s Ricky Banks expresses serious concern for the mental health of Yousef ‘Fousey’ Erakat during Daniel ‘KEEMSTAR’ Keem’s documentary about the disastrous “Hate Die, Love Arrives” event. Banks talks to Fousey on the phone during the first episode of KEEMSTAR’s documentary, ““The Hard Truth About FouseyTube”. FaZe Clan’s COO speaks from experience and tells his fellow content creator that he is sounding manic: “A lot of the shit you’re saying right now is shaking me fuck up because it’s like crazy how similar it was to like… I don’t know if you remember when I had a meltdown on social media, straight up, I was like manic, like straight manic and I had all these aspirations to be a philanthropist, “In the weirdest way it felt so good to feel crazy” After hanging up from the phone call, Banks doubles down on his concerns about Fousey, telling the people around the table, including KEEMSTAR, that they need to “slow it down”. Some of the people in the room are convinced that Fousey’s July 15 event is nothing more than promotion for a music video that he is planning to release, but Banks wants them to understand that they are “not talking about someone that is all there right now”. “He’s fucking going through a manic episode, one trillion percent. One BAJILLION percent, “All I’m saying here is that if you don’t think Fousey is going through a manic episode right now, you are lost and have no understanding of what it means to be manic,” The “Hate Dies, Love Arrives” show at the Greek Theatre was eventually closed down prematurely due to a bomb threat, but Fousey has come under fire for more than that. A number of YouTubers, including KEEMSTAR, PewDiePie and Philip DeFranco have taken shots at their fellow content creator for his promotion of the event, which included heavy insinuations about superstars like Drake and J. Cole performing. None of these music icons did appear at the show, and The Blast reports that sources close to drake say he “definitely doesn’t know that guy and this is the first he has ever heard of him.”

FaZe Banks finally gives update on his relationships with Tfue & Alissa Violet – Dexerto
FaZe Banks finally gives update on his relationships with Tfue & Alissa Violet Konkrete Podcast, Mike Majlak Vlogs – YouTube / Alissa Violet, InstagramFortnite pro Turner ‘Tfue’ Tenney’s lawsuit against the esports org and Banks’ subsequent split with YouTuber Alissa Violet – a breakup that he addressed during a joint video with Logan Paul’s co-host, Mike Majlak. Things got rocky between Baks and Violet after he admitted to sleeping with controversial YouTuber Tana Mongeau three years prior during an episode of Adam22’s ‘No Jumper’ podcast – a tryst that he claimed to have kept secret the entire time. Despite Violet’s claims that she had been aware of the tryst before getting involved with Banks, the two parted ways shortly thereafter, with Violet confirming that they had gotten into a fight just ahead of their official split days later. Alissa and I decided about a month ago that we should take some time apart. Love that girl to death and always will. I’ll never say a bad word about her. This shits about as hard to deal with as it gets. Please respect our privacy through this. :broken_heart: — FaZe Banks (@Banks) July 6, 2019 Banks opened up about his current relationship with Violet during an episode of ‘The Night Shift’ with Majlak on July 12, where he admitted that he is still on good terms with his now ex-girlfriend, despite the drama. “…me and Alissa, we’re actually on great terms,” he said of the matter. “…We’re definitely separated, she’s doing her thing. I don’t like the word ‘break-up.’ …me and her, we’re just working on ourselves. We got too comfortable with life and each other and we came to a decision where we’re gonna take some time to ourselves and focus on ourselves.” (Timestamp: 12:50 for mobile viewers) That wasn’t the only relationship Banks spoke on, either: his closeness with ex-best friend Tfue has likewise been in rocky waters, after Tfue filed a lawsuit against FaZe Clan for placing him under an “oppressive contract” in late May. “He’s texted me a few times,” Banks said of his current contact with Tfue. “About some random shit. Almost as if nothing’s happening. Everybody knows this thing isn’t about me and Tfue.” (Timestamp: 11:30 for mobile viewers) Things got rocky between ex-best friends FaZe Banks and Tfue, after the Fortnite pro filed a lawsuit against FaZe for placing him under an “oppressive” contract.600 While he claimed that Tfue’s lawsuit wasn’t “something a friend would do,” he admitted that he is “open” to rekindling their friendship in the future, despite having called Tfue a “selfish asshole” for filing his lawsuit. It’s disgusting and anyone who doesn’t see straight past this, sorry but you’re a fkn idiot. Turner isn’t some martyr for the greater good, he’s a selfish asshole who doesn’t give a fuck about anyone but himself. Like seriously homie? You’re down the street from me. Let’s talk. — FaZe Banks (@Banks) May 23, 2019 With Tfue sharing his sympathies following Banks and Violet’s breakup, it looks like things are slowly being repaired between the two internet celebs – although they have yet to officially settle the beef between them.

FaZe Banks explains why he would never get back with Alissa Violet – Dexerto
FaZe Banks explains why he would never get back with Alissa Violet YouTube: IMPAULSIVE, Alissa VioletFaZe Banks opened up on his past relationship with model Alissa Violet, explaining that no one could “pay him enough” to get back with his internet-famous ex-girlfriend. YouTube star and FaZe co-owner Ricky Banks’ romance with model and influencer Alissa Violet used to be the talk of the town. The two internet stars used to be the social media “it” couple — but their relationship became fraught with drama that ultimately caused it to go down in flames. Violet notably took up with Banks after her breakup with YouTuber Jake Paul in 2017. After being together for two years, things started to get hairy, with the model claiming her boyfriend had cheated on her with multiple women before breaking things off officially. Despite their tense breakup, the two appear to be on good terms now, with the ex-couple even appearing in a few photos together in 2022 that sparked rumors among fans that they’d secretly gotten back together. FaZe Banks says he “doesn’t miss” his relationship with Alissa Violet Unfortunately for shippers, it looks like this isn’t the case. Banks spoke on his past relationship with Violet during a December 6 episode of Logan Paul’s IMPAULSIVE podcast, saying that he has no interest in getting back together with his ex. “The end of it was awful, it was brutal,” Banks said of their relationship. “It was like we wanted to try to make it work by all means necessary, even if it meant sacrificing our own sanity and happiness.” When asked if he missed his relationship with Violet, Banks had an immediate answer. “I do not miss our relationship,” he admitted. “No. No. You couldn’t f*cking pay me enough money in the world to do it again. But I wouldn’t change it. I wouldn’t undo it.” (Topic begins at 46:32) Despite his feelings about their past, Banks made sure to admit that he and Violet are still very close friends and harbor no resentment for each other. “She’s my family,” Banks said. “She always will be. I wish her nothing but the best.”

FaZe Banks explains why bitter feud with Jake Paul has ended – Dexerto
FaZe Banks explains why bitter feud with Jake Paul has ended FaZe Banks / Instagram, YouTubeFaZe Clan’s Ricky Banks has opened up about his decision to put aside his differences with fellow YouTuber Jake Paul, claiming that people might learn a lot from their handling of the situation. The two YouTube giants ended their long-term rivalry on a Hollywood sidewalk after a meeting at this year’s Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, which ran between April 12-21. After having what Banks has described as “the right kind of conversation” at the event, it looks as if both parties are now delighted to have put their issues to rest – with the FaZe Clan member opening up about the situation on Twitter. FaZe Banks returned to YouTube in February 2019, after a six month hiatus from the platform.600 “It’s just a weight of both of our shoulders (mine and Alissa’s) and it’s lame internet drama,” Banks tweeted on May 5. “We ran into him at Coachella and had the right kind of conversation. We all decided to let the past be the past and move forward. Like I said watch the video, you might learn something.” The video Banks is referring to is one he posted to his official YouTube channel on May 5, as seen below, which showed both the pair both settling their issues over a game of rock, paper, scissors after appearing to square up for a brawl. Jake Paul came out the winner, too, after winning two of the three games they played. That’s not all; they also shared the day together. It’s just a weight of both of our shoulders (mine and Alissa’s) and it’s lame internet drama. We ran into him @ coachella and had the right kind of conversation. We all decided to let the past be the past and move forward. Like I said watch the video, you might learn something. — FaZe Banks (@Banks) May 5, 2019 The bitter rivalry of FaZe Banks and Jake Paul The YouTubers had been involved in some fiery exchanges in the past, one of which resulted in Banks calling Paul “actually human garbage,” with many fans expecting a boxing match between the two – which seems to be a popular way of ending feuds among high profile YouTubers. “As for the questions, comments, concerns about me squashing the beef with Jake. If my motivation was views, wouldn’t I just stir shit up with him again? I mean that’s proven to bring all the clout in the world in right?” Banks added in an additional tweet. The feud between the two YouTubers included allegations of physical assault against Banks, who was accused of assaulting former Team 10 assistant Meg Zelly back in 2017. The assault claims were vehemently denied at the time and Banks’ girlfriend, Alissa Violet – who was previously in a relationship with Jake Paul – has since accused the latter of “mental abuse.” As for the questions, comments, concerns about me squashing the beef with Jake. If my motivation was views wouldn’t I just stir shit up with him again? I mean that’s proven to bring all the clout in the world in right? — FaZe Banks (@Banks) May 5, 2019 It looks pretty unlikely that Ricky Banks and Jake Paul will meet in a boxing ring any time soon, as the feud looks to be over, but there’s always a chance that things could turn around again in the future. If it does, we’ll be the first to let you know.

FaZe Banks explains why esports franchising won’t work – Dexerto
FaZe Banks explains why esports franchising won’t work Instagram: FaZe BanksCall of Duty league will fail, while labelling esports in general as “mumbo-jumbo bullsh*t.” Banks is co-owner of one of the most historic organizations in all of esports in FaZe Clan, with the organization seeing major success in games like CoD, CS:GO and Fortnite, although the YouTuber admitted that he sees himself more as a spiritual CEO than an active member of the organization’s management team. While for many, esports is the pinnacle of gaming, it seems FaZe Banks doesn’t agree, making his feelings for the competitive aspect of video games clear during his appearance on the No Jumper podcast. FaZe Banks is co-owner of the organization, but had some harsh words for esports. While discussing FaZe Clan with No Jumper host Adam ‘Adam22’ Grandmaison and Mike Majlak from the Imapulsive podcast, Banks revealed that he views the organization as a lifestyle and culture brand, and that esports is just a tiny part of operations. The 27-year-old also discussed franchising, and the rumored $30 million cost of a Call of Duty franchise, stating that he thinks that franchised leagues in general will go “nowhere.” Banks stated: “They’re organizing leagues inside one singular game, and they’re making people pay fucking $30 million for a spot in the league. They’re trying to imitate what the NFL or NBA do, but why it will never work is because gaming is an umbrella thing.” “You could be a gamer who only players League of Legends or Fortnite. Games pop off and then they fall off, so to spend on a league spot and look to get a return on a league spot in 10 years? You’re flushing money.” While Banks may not have a particularly good opinion of esports, he did reveal that the organization are raising $300 million in funding, with some of that likely earmarked for esports, perhaps with one eye on the Call of Duty league that Banks is so pessimistic about. The league is scheduled to kick off in 2020, with teams currently submitting bids for to acquire the franchise spot for some of the United State’s biggest cities.

FaZe Banks explains why he struggles to upload YouTube videos – Dexerto
FaZe Banks explains why he struggles to upload YouTube videos YouTube: FaZe BanksFaZe Banks has been quiet on YouTube for a while, and with fans begging for more content, he finally explained why he’s struggled to upload videos. Richard “Banks” Bengston is best known as one of the founders and owners of FaZe Clan. However, he also had an enormous following on YouTube. Fans loved tuning in to watch his video blogs and entertainment videos. Sadly, he hasn’t been active on his channel for quite some time. He posted his last batch of videos back in May 2019 and has remained inactive ever since. In August 2020, he even admitted that he might never return to YouTube again. In January, Banks finally revealed that he would be returning to YouTube after all, after responding to a fan who wrote about how much he missed his content on Twitter, simply just adding “soon.” And yet, his YouTube channel has remained quiet, despite an Instagram post on April 11 further teasing that his vlogs would be coming back. Banks finally explained why posting YouTube videos has been a struggle for him when he appeared on the No Jumper podcast with Adam 22 alongside Mike Majlak. In discussing different ways to make money, Adam asked Banks if his silence on YouTube is down to being lazy. “Everything is all about pros and cons.. a lot of bullshit comes with uploading videos on YouTube,” Banks said. “It takes f***king ten minutes to crank out a YouTube video, it’ll pull in millions of views, it’ll make you some good money. (Topic starts at 15:20) “It has nothing to do with being lazy, more so to do with ‘ok am I ready to turn this back on, am I ready to take everything that comes with it’ or would I rather just trade little pixels on a screen and make money.” He went on to explain, that getting involved in drama is the main thing holding him back, “I could have milked that Tfue thing for a while and cranked views out of it… I just didn’t feel like getting myself involved in all that drama and seeing those comments.” Ultimately, Banks concluded, “It’s not about being lazy it’s I don’t know if I want to be that.” However, he didn’t say never, and those anticipating a comeback may get a vlog from FaZe Banks eventually, but it’ll certainly take some patience.

FaZe Banks explains his decision to double down on Okay Bear NFT investment – Dexerto
FaZe Banks explains his decision to double down on Okay Bear NFT investment Okay Bear/YouTube: FaZe BanksYouTube mogul FaZe Banks has gone deep into his decision to invest in the Okay Bear line of NFTs even if it does cause quite the stir among his community. Banks has established himself as one of the biggest advocators for NFTs in all of the gaming space. Back in August 2021, the 30-year-old opened up about his experience investing in the popular Crypto Punk line and how it netted him a profit of around $750,000 in a week’s time. Now he’s gone public with another investment and is getting out ahead of things by explaining exactly why he thinks Okay Bear is the future. Banks explains his decision to invest in Okay Bear NFTs In a series of May 14 Instagram Stories, Banks explained that his decision to publicize the comes from a tender spot within him. The social media star says that not only did the Web3 space push him to get sober but that he believes it has the power to bring other people up in various ways as well. “The most fulfilling aspect of my Web3 experience is seeing other people win and being able to educate and participate in those wins.” Remember I said this; @okaybears has a real shot to have a Bored Ape like come up in regards to dominating their chain $SOL & that their community won’t fold under win pressure. $SOL NFT’s are going to run through this bear market. $ETH will be fine too. We’re all gunna be okay. pic.twitter.com/8DkHenPhTQ — FaZe Banks (@Banks) May 14, 2022 After noting that his decision wasn’t a particularly popular one elsewhere on the internet, Banks highlighted that this situation only ends one of two ways: “I’m either right and look like a genius or I look like an idiot.” He also noted that anyone considering following in his footsteps should be appropriately cautious, seemingly referencing the dramatic fall-off that both Bitcoin and Ethereum suffered on the weekend of May 13: “I’ve seen success in this space, but who knows, I could be totally f***ing wrong about this.” This is just the most recent example of Banks being outspoken about the future of Web3. He has previously detailed his plans to invest money in the Bored Ape Yacht Club’s Otherverse, and has also criticized other content creators for their activity in the space.

FaZe Banks Explains the Origin Behind the Name ‘Clout Gang’ – “It’s a f**king meme” – Dexerto
FaZe Banks Explains the Origin Behind the Name ‘Clout Gang’ – “It’s a f**king meme” Credit: www.Instagram.com/BanksThe inspiration behind the naming of the Clout Gang has been revealed by one of the pivotal members of the group. The collective of high profile streamers, YouTubers and models live in $14 million mansion in the Hollywood Hills, and they have plans to expand in order to accommodate more. Ricky ‘Banks’ Banks, is one of the masterminds behind the project, and as one of original founders of the FaZe Clan organization, he has plenty of experience in the spotlight. Despite a number of controversial moments during his career, he’s now back to creating content with members of the Clout Gang and other popular personalities. One of his new projects is alongside Drama Alert host, Daniel ‘KEEMSTAR’ Keem. The pair record a podcast style show, ‘Mom’s Basement’ from the FaZe Clan studios in LA. During the second airing of the show with rap podcaster, Adam22, and rapper, Lil Xan, the group found out that rapper XXXTentacion had been killed in Florida. It was during this conversation about how fake it is in LA that Banks revealed that the name Clout Gang was actually a meme. “The reason why we did the Clout thing is because it is a fucking meme. I moved out to LA and the only word you’ll hear more times a day that you’ll never hear anywhere else is fucking clout. I heard it for the first time in LA, and I’m like why the fuck do you guys keep saying that? “Yo can he pull up he’s got clout”, like what the fuck does that mean?”

FaZe Banks outright denies he had any involvement in SaveTheKids crypto drama – Dexerto
FaZe Banks outright denies he had any involvement in SaveTheKids crypto drama Instagram: BanksAfter FaZe Clan announced that it had dropped Kay and suspended Jarvis, Nikan, and Teeqo amid cryptocurrency ‘pump and dump’ controversy, co-owner Richard ‘Banks’ Bengston has distanced himself from the drama surrounding the ‘SaveTheKids’ token. FaZe Clan dropped a major announcement across social media on July 1, revealing that four of its most popular influencers were being dropped or suspended in light of recent engagements with sponsored cryptocurrencies. Kay was let go from the organization altogether, while his younger brother Jarvis was suspended along with Nikan and Teeqo. All four were hit with these consequences after reportedly ‘pumping and dumping’ a range of altcoins, namely, the ‘Save The Kids’ token. This label is applied when influencers promote a relatively obscure coin, encouraging their audience to buy in and drive up the value before they cash out and make a profit as the value then begins to tank. A number of FaZe members have evidently been involved in such schemes. However, Banks has broken his silence on the matter, assuring that he never engaged with ‘pump and dump’ promotions. In a since-deleted Twitter post from May 27, Banks was seen pushing BankSocial.io. In his promotion, Banks offered $10,000 to a “lucky” fan that spread the announcement. “This is a project I f**k with heavily and truly believe is the next one to pop,” he said. Prior to his post, the newly established crypto was valued at roughly $0.000005 USD, according to CoinGecko. The token then soared to a peak value of $0.00000919 — 2.5 times its valuation — within 24 hours of his tweet before plummeting. It currently sits at a value of $0.00000115, down eight-fold from its peak. Despite this, Banks looked to distance himself from ‘pumping and dumping’ accusations as other FaZe members became implicated. “I’ve never one time been a part of a pump and dump,” he stressed in a July 2 Twitter thread. “That’s never happened. My wallet’s public. I wasn’t part of any of this. I’m an open book and have an actual love for this space.” Days later, Banks followed up with further comments in a July 6 Twitter thread. Specifically honing in on the ‘SaveTheKids’ “garbage” that various members engaged with, Banks assured he had “zero involvement or knowledge” of the situation at first, “neither did FaZe Clan.” “The people involved acted as individuals and did all that sh** on their own,” he stressed. These members were immediately “removed as a result.” Nobody’s more upset about all of this than we are. We took action the moment this was brought to our attention. Shit’s embarrassing & I honestly wish these guys came to me about this in the beginning so I could’ve shut the entire thing down before it was too late. We had no idea. — FaZe Banks (@Banks) July 7, 2021 “Nobody’s more upset about all of this than we are. We took action the moment this was brought to our attention. Shit’s embarrassing and I honestly wish these guys came to me about this in the beginning so I could’ve shut the entire thing down before it was too late. We had no idea.” This news stems from a wave of recent backlash with many of the world’s biggest influencers lashing out at those “scamming” their fans with ‘trashy’ cryptocurrencies.

FaZe Banks helps feuding Twitch stars Ludwig and Adin Ross end their “weird” dispute – Dexerto
FaZe Banks helps feuding Twitch stars Ludwig and Adin Ross end their “weird” dispute Instagram: Ludwig / Adin Ross / BanksRichard “FaZe Banks” Bengston, who happens to be friends with both Ludwig ‘Ludwig’ Ahgren and Adin Ross, helped them patch things up and end their “weird” Twitch feud after a chaotic 24-hours. Banks was known for making clutch plays on Call of Duty in his prime, and although he still does from time to time, he came in clutch to put an end to the heated feud between his two friends, Ludwig and Adin Ross. Not long after, Ludwig clapped back at Adin’s fiery comments, explaining that he “jumped the gun a little bit,” Banks was hanging out with Adin and Mike Majlak and convinced him to extinguish the flames by face-timing Ludwig, and it worked. Banks started the conversation by defending Adin’s reaction, saying, “You guys were in a room, all six of you guys, kind of taking shots at him, discrediting him. He got a little emotional about it.” Adin agreed and asked Ludwig for some credit and recognition In response, Ludwig asked him whether he thinks he said anything “inappropriate,” considering his comments were the most innocuous. “Yes. I do. I honestly do think you said something inappropriate,” said Adin. “Well, I don’t think you said something inappropriate. I think you didn’t say something was appropriate – if that makes any sense.” “I have no problem with you. I just saw a lot of sh*t talking in that room. The bad energy, I felt it. Everyone could feel it. Maybe you could have said some sh*t? Something like ‘this kid’s good’ or Banks talks highly about him.” Banks interrupted him, saying, “No, listen. It doesn’t even need to go there. Cracking humor and f**king with people is one thing. But this was a little bit different. It definitely had a weird tone and a weird vibe to it.” Still, he insisted that the whole thing got blown out of proportion. After a bit of a back and forth over who would apologize first, QTCinderella led the charge. “What we do as streamers in this group is that we make fun of each other all the time. We discredit each other all of the time,” she said. “But at the end of the day, you constantly have 160,000 people watching you. You’ve done that by yourself, and that’s very, very impressive. And I’m sorry our joking was seen as toxic.” Adin accepted the apology. “I love you guys, too, I guess. We’re cool. It’s not you, Ludwig. It’s not even you. It was the other dude in the room who was being the most f**ked up,” he said, referring to Nick ‘Nmplol’ Polom. He also admitted that he got “too emotional” himself and apologized for that. In the end, it seems like the drama ended quicker than it started, thanks to Banks’ mad peacekeeping skills. As for what happens next, it will be interesting to see whether Ludwig and Adin ever decide to collaborate sometime in the future.

FaZe Banks calls out David Dobrik’s “$6M scam” through Bored Bunny NFT promotion – Dexerto
FaZe Banks calls out David Dobrik’s “$6M scam” through Bored Bunny NFT promotion YouTube: FaZe Banks / David DobrikFaZe Banks responded to a call out aimed at David Dobrik for promoting an alleged $6 million NFT “scam” with Bored Bunny and revealed he turned down a similar offer after realizing it was a “mistake.” NFT scams are as old as NFTs themselves. FaZe Banks knows that better than anyone after seeing four members of his organization get punished for promoting a cryptocurrency, only to inflate its value and then dump it. It’s no surprise then that he chimed in on a post from Twitter user Zachxbt, who investigates the connection between influencers and NFTs. In a recent post, Zachxbt called out YouTube star David Dobrik for promoting an alleged “$6 million NFT scam.” “Welcome David Dobrik to the long list of influencers promoting scams,” said Zachxbt on March 27. “0.4 ETH -> 0.059 ETH within 90 days, and the team has disappeared with $6m.” They also shared a clip of Dobrik promoting it. “I wanted to get my feet a little more wet with some NFTs, Dobrik claimed in his promotional video. “I kind of went to the tippy-top of the NFT world and check this out. I got a Bored Bunny! Not only is it a Bored Bunny, but it looks like me.” “If you’re young and naive just like my brother and want to get into NFTs, check out Bored Bunny. They have over 150,000 people in their Discord. It’s like a giant group chat. So, if you’re interested at all, start on their Instagram page.” Welcome David Dobrik to the long list of influencers promoting scams. 0.4 eth -> 0.059 eth within 90 days & the team has disappeared with $6m. https://t.co/1Of0hUw7XA pic.twitter.com/33VOwxnJhz — ZachXBT (@zachxbt) March 27, 2022 This post gained traction and eventually caught the eye of FaZe Banks, who revealed he also received an insane offer to promote it. While Dobrik went ahead, Banks ultimately decided against it after ‘educating’ himself and realizing it was a “mistake.” “They offered me ‘$500k-$750k’ upfront for a story post or follow,” he said. He also posted a screenshot of a text conversation he had with someone apparently affiliated with them as evidence such an offer was indeed pitched. “I think it’s worth noting that I didn’t make this mistake only because I’ve taken the time to educate myself,” Banks explained. “A lot of these influencers take deals brought to them by their management [because they’re] treated as a product campaign.” They offered me “$500k-$750k” upfront for a story post/ follow. I think it’s worth noting that I didn’t make this mistake only because I’ve taken the time to educate myself. A lot of these influencers take deals brought to them by their management/ treated as a product campaign. pic.twitter.com/BEIezyblnF — FaZe Banks (@Banks) March 27, 2022 Bored Bunny has addressed concerns about their NFTs in the past. On February 18, they assured holders the floor price wasn’t being manipulated and urged them to list NFTs at higher prices to avoid undermining value. They also revealed that they’ve been legally pursuing the removal of defamatory statements and “blatant lies” about them and their NFTs on the internet. However, they’ve remained silent on social media ever since. Meanwhile, Dobrik hasn’t addressed the “scam” allegations at the time of writing. It’s not the first time an influencer with a massive following has been accused of promoting NFT and crypto “scams,” and it’s unlikely to be the last.

FaZe Banks denies Adin Ross & RiceGum beef being “fake” to cover FaZe crypto scam – Dexerto
FaZe Banks denies Adin Ross & RiceGum beef being “fake” to cover FaZe crypto scam YouTube: The Daily StardustOn July 1, FaZe Clan revealed that Kay would be kicked and Jarvis, Teeqo and Nikan all suspended over alleged cryptocurrency scams. The crypto scam suspensions became huge news online and in the influencer community, and has definitely caused a stir with people all across the space discussing the implications of what has happened. In the meantime, Twitch stars Brian ‘RiceGum’ Le and Adin Ross — closely associated with FaZe Clan as they live with Banks — have locked horns with one another, suddenly having a huge beef that got all the Twitch streamers talking. One accusation levied against the streamers was that the beef was all fake, especially since they live together and for several days didn’t ever appear to speak with one another about it. Many critics, including HasanAbi, suggested that the “beef” was all a ploy to take heat off of the crypto drama. FaZe Clan has removed Kay, and suspended Jarvis, Nikan, and Teeqo following crypto pump and dump accusations pic.twitter.com/iT3l85ESKK — Dexerto (@Dexerto) July 1, 2021 While Twitch conspiracy theorists are in two minds about the whole thing, FaZe Clan co-owner Banks says there’s nothing fake about the beef. When asked about it by The Daily Stardust, Banks joked that he was going to “beat their a*ses” before being asked whether the beef was actually real. “It’s not fake beef,” he confirmed. “It’s definitely not fake beef, but it’s dumb beef. It’s just a ‘for no reason’ type beef. That’s how I would describe it.” Timestamp 3:18 Prior to this, Banks did actually speak very briefly about the crypto scam. He said that everyone involved is a “brother” to him and that it sucks that he had to make the decision to take action in that way, but added that it’s ultimately “up to them.” So, Banks is sure that the beef definitely isn’t fake — but he doesn’t sound convinced that it’s as deep as it appears to be.

FaZe Banks calls out YouTube in the midst of SMOSH parent company shutdown – Dexerto
FaZe Banks calls out YouTube in the midst of SMOSH parent company shutdown FaZe Banks has singled out YouTube for the alleged loss of $100,000 to an unnamed creator, who was reportedly under the Defy Media umbrella. Parent company to massive YouTube comedy channel SMOSH, Defy Media, closed its doors without warning on November 6 – leaving a number of its YouTubers without financial security. Content creator FaZe Banks has since taken issue with YouTube, itself, citing a major financial loss to one of his friends due to the debacle. A good friend of mine basically got $100,000 stolen from him too. There’s gotta be some sort of class action lawsuit somewhere in this mess. I’m guessing a couple million dollars in revenue was straight up stolen. It’s fucked. — FaZe Banks (@Banks) November 12, 2018 According to Banks, a good friend of his lost $100,000 in revenue because of Defy’s shutdown – and Banks feels that there could be a ‘class action lawsuit’ in order. “A good friend of mine basically got $100,000 stolen from him, too,” Banks said in reply to YouTuber Shane Dawson, who has also been outspoken about Defy’s closure. “…There’s gotta be some sort of class action lawsuit somewhere in this mess.” Yea and they’re a family channel too, long videos.. You already know that by itself is creeping up to the millions mark. It’s actually really fucked. I feel like YouTube should be held accountable to some extent. This kinda shit fucks up lives. — FaZe Banks (@Banks) November 12, 2018 Banks then went on to describe his friend’s channel as a ‘family channel,’ claiming that he could have even lost ‘millions.’ “…I feel like YouTube should be held accountable to some extent,” he continued. “This kinda shit fucks up lives.” While Banks feels that YouTube should be responsible for some part of the scandal, the platform has since come out in apparent support of the affected creators, in what they call a ‘process’ to help them ‘regain their independence.’ Since Defy’s shutdown, the company has been slammed with a number of allegations, including ‘taking advantage’ of its YouTubers, withholding funds, and more.

FaZe Banks confirms long-awaited YouTube return happening “soon” – Dexerto
FaZe Banks confirms long-awaited YouTube return happening “soon” Instagram: FaZe BanksFaZe Banks responded to a fan on Twitter and confirmed that his long-awaited YouTube return will happen “soon.” Richard “Banks” Bengston is best known as one of the founders and owners of FaZe Clan. Now, in a turn of events, it seems like he’s had a change of heart. He will be returning to YouTube after all. And the best part is, it’ll be happening “soon”. The confirmation occurred in response to a fan who wrote about how much he missed his content. A Twitter user named Bloodshot wrote, “I should be watching a Banks video blog [right now], but oh well.” Little did he know, it caught Banks’ attention, and he responded accordingly. “Soon,” said Banks, keeping it short, sharp, and sweet. It’s only one word, and it’s far from a formal announcement. But it’s still confirmation from the man himself that his long-awaited YouTube return isn’t too far away, which is exciting. Another fan left a comment, trying to find out more information. “When’s your next upload, my guy?” he said. Unfortunately, he had no luck. Banks dipped out of the conversation after his initial comment and never came back. Only time will tell when he makes his return. For all we know, it might not be for several months. The key takeaway, though, is that it will happen at some point “soon,” and his fans are very much looking forward to it.

FaZe Banks and Nadeshot take shots at each other in hilarious Twitter exchange – Dexerto
FaZe Banks and Nadeshot take shots at each other in hilarious Twitter exchange 100T Nadeshot / FaZe BanksFriendly quips between 100 Thieves CEO Matthew ‘Nadeshot’ Haag and FaZe’s Ricky Banks made for a hilarious Twitter bout that took fans on a quick trip down memory lane. Nadeshot announced a celebration for 100 Thieves streamer Rachel ‘Valkyrae’ Hofsetter’s birthday on Twitter when Banks chimed in to advise Nadeshot of the terrible mistake he had made. Banks posted a screenshot of text messages between the two in a group chat and the FaZe member was referring to his tendency to be wild at shindigs, but that didn’t intimidate Nadeshot. You fucked up g, big time :pretentious::vomiting: pic.twitter.com/lZWBPZTCff — FaZe Banks (@Banks) January 8, 2019 “It’s dangerous to invite me to anything even close to a party,” Banks said. “I will be there, but you’ve been warned.” But the real shots came when Nadeshot noticed Banks still had him as “OpTic NaDeSHoT” on his phone. Something that the 100T CEO was keen on making Banks regret. Nadeshot had replied with a screenshot of his phone showing how he addressed his fellow content creator. “OpTic NaDeSHoT, huh? Don’t worry, I got you,” Nadeshot said. The caption was attached to an image of a lowly Banks but addressed to “SoaR Banks,” making reference to the previous organization Banks was a part of before leaving for FaZe. The exchange sent Twitter bystanders on a craze, as the two didn’t back down from the jabs instead playing into each others’ hands. Although the exchange was spicy, the two will undoubtedly let the good times roll over at night’s festivities.

FaZe Banks and Tfue reunite publicly for first time since lawsuit – Dexerto
FaZe Banks and Tfue reunite publicly for first time since lawsuit FaZe ClanTurner ‘Tfue‘ Tenney is currently suing former organization FaZe Clan, but an image uploaded to FaZe Clan owner Ricky ‘Banks’ Banks showed the pair hanging out together for the first time since the controversy began. Tfue was widely regarded as the face of FaZe Clan’s Fortnite team while part of the organization, winning hundreds of thousands of dollars while representing them, and drawing huge audiences to his Twitch channel to watch him practice and compete. On May 20, 2019, the American stunned fans around the world when he filed a lawsuit against his team, claiming they had signed him to an “oppressive” contract that saw FaZe take 80% of revenue from branded videos on social media, leaving him with just 20% of the fee. When the news broke, Banks immediately denied all of the accusations and stated that Tfue was using them as a way to get out of his contract. The pair were close friends before the lawsuit was filed, but following the news, they stopped communicating, with Banks pleading with the 22-year-old to call him in the aftermath of the suit. The pair haven’t been seen together publically in months, and with the legal proceedings still ongoing, many were stunned to see the pair link up on February 1. In an image uploaded to Banks’ Instagram story, the FaZe owner posted a selfie of himself standing beside a posing Tfue, complete with the caption: “What are we doing?” Where this photo was taken is unclear. On top of that, Banks even sent a tweet to Tfue when he posted a message about his recent breakup with Corinna Kopf, writing: “Let’s just all go back to how things were,” in response to the 22-year-old saying he would never get in a relationship again. Of course, Tfue and FaZe Clan are still embroiled in legal proceedings, with Judge Patricia Nieto siding with the Fortnite pro when the esports organization attempted to have the case dismissed. Both parties are scheduled to return to court on July 6 to continue the suit. While things may remain heated in the courtroom, it appears that Tfue and Banks have rekindled their relationship to some extent, something which fans of theirs will be excited to see.

FaZe Banks breaks silence on Alissa Violet cheating allegations – Dexerto
FaZe Banks breaks silence on Alissa Violet cheating allegations Instagram: BanksFaZe Clan’s Ricky Banks has broken his silence on allegations from his ex-girlfriend and model Alissa Violet suggesting he cheated on her during their relationship, and led a destructive lifestyle that led to their split in July. Banks revealed he had split from long-term girlfriend Violet on July 6 after being apart “for about a month,” and at first it seemed like the two high-profile internet stars had ended things on relatively good terms. An explosive tirade on social media seems to tell a different story, however, as Violet accused the FaZe member of cheating on her multiple times, including with a “random whore” in the pair’s guest wing, and Snapchatting another girl to meet him “to f*ck” while he was at dinner with her. Now, Banks has released his own statement regarding the allegations, admitting he had done something “really stupid and hurtful” during their relationship, and suggesting there are two sides to the story. “Obviously, there are two sides to every story, and neither of us have been perfect,” Banks said. “Rather than contribute to all of that, I’m going to do the right thing and take responsibility for where I’ve gone wrong in this.” The FaZe star said he and Violet had been “having issues” throughout the end of their relationship, and revealed that he had cheated on her “almost a full year ago.” “It’s not as simple as who’s right and who’s wrong,” he said, before admitting it doesn’t matter. “What matters is that we’re both humans, and we’ve both definitely hurt each other. It’s haunted both of us for a long time. We all fuck up, that’s human.” The 28-year-old added that he believes the relationship he shared with Alissa was “one in a billion special,” and said that he refused to allow their dramas to spill out onto social media, for their own sakes, and for the fans. “I refuse to let our intimate, private relationship become a spectacle online, it’s heartbreaking,” he stated. “Social media really isn’t the place. I wasn’t expecting this because we were always both very much on the same page about making sure we have a line drawn in the sand about what we share with our audience. But again I see that she’s hurt, and I understand.” Banks also took the chance to address Violet directly, potentially because they had stopped talking behind the scenes after he messaged her questioning why she was telling the story of his unfaithfulness on Twitter. “Liss, if you’re reading this, love you,” he said. “It hurts me a lot that you’re hurt, but I promise hurting me won’t make you feel better. I wish every day that it could’ve been different. I will never ever not love you, and I’ll always be there. I truly do wish the best for you.” This isn’t the first time in Alissa and Ricky’s relationship that they had aired their grievances with each other in a public forum either, though this might be the most explosive it’s become since the two separated earlier this year. Violet unfollowed Banks—something fans took notice of very quickly—after the FaZe star admitted to having a physical relationship with Tana Mongeau before he began dating the 23-year-old model. The two locked horns online about the news. Banks and Violet first started dating in 2017, after Violet separated from Mongeau’s now-husband Jake Paul. It was a whirlwind romance if the online footprint is to be believed, with rumors of an engagement appearing nearly immediately. Those rumors were eventually squashed, however, and two years after first announcing they were together, Banks and Violet went their separate ways. It’s also been a chaotic month for the FaZe personality, who turned a suite at the Encore At Wynn Las Vegas into a “disaster zone,” resulting in broken furniture, holes in the walls, and soil from plants scattered across the floor. The Las Vegas rampage led to Banks being “eighty-sixed for life” and banned from the hotel, and having to fork out “a lot of f*cking money” for repairs. Alissa Violet has yet to reply to Banks’ statement.

FaZe Banks admits Tfue’s deal was “horrible”, but calls him a “selfish asshole” – Dexerto
FaZe Banks admits Tfue’s deal was “horrible”, but calls him a “selfish asshole” FaZe Clan / YouTube: BanksFaZe Clan co-owner Ricky ‘Banks‘ Banks has sent an outburst of Twitter posts directed at his now-former player, Turner ‘Tfue‘ Tenney, shortly after the streamer’s contract with the organization was supposedly leaked. On May 23, following Tfue’s demands that the contract be released, TheBlast acquired what they claim to be the original contract, which largely supported Tfue’s accusations against FaZe Clan. Banks had previously confirmed that FaZe themselves would release the contract, but were awaiting approval when the contract was leaked. YouTuber Daniel ‘KEEMSTAR‘ Keem shared a private message from Tfue’s brother, Jack ‘Joogsquad’ Tenney, claiming that the Fortnite Battle Royale pro was aiming to launch his own esports organization, and this was why, at least partly, he was trying to leave FaZe. Instead of allowing Tfue to leave, FaZe apparently made numerous offers to him with a better contract, but were rebuffed – presumably as the player was set on making his own org. Banks saw this as a revelation which painted Tfue’s previous claim that his moves were intended to clean up the esports industry and protect ‘kids’ being exploited, as ostensible, hiding his ulterior motive. Wow Jack, you really blew it this time. Turner wants to make his own org? So this whole superhero, for the people, by the people narrative makes a little more sense now. Convenient. Why wasn’t this apart of his original press release then? Why is this all about the poor kids now? https://t.co/34kVo5vMQJ — FaZe Banks (@Banks) May 23, 2019 Tfue has won numerous tournaments while representing FaZe Clan. Banks admits Tfue’s initial contract was “horrible” In a flurry of tweets, Banks admitted that the initial agreement presented to and signed by Tfue was “horrible”, but called him a “selfish asshole who doesn’t give a fuck about anyone but himself.” It’s disgusting and anyone who doesn’t see straight past this, sorry but you’re a fkn idiot. Turner isn’t some martyr for the greater good, he’s a selfish asshole who doesn’t give a fuck about anyone but himself. Like seriously homie? You’re down the street from me. Let’s talk. — FaZe Banks (@Banks) May 23, 2019 This shit is so see through. Listen obviously Turners initial contract was horrible. Nobody ever disagreed with that. But over the last year we have offered him so many new ones, solutions. 0% splits. Honest and MORE THAN FAIR ways to solve the issue. — FaZe Banks (@Banks) May 23, 2019 He then reaffirmed that FaZe Clan had every intention of making the contract publicly available, saying: “I have nothing to hide”, adding that had made the mistake of allowing “shit people” to run the business. Banks said that he now plans on releasing “all the contracts we’ve since offered Tfue to try and make this right”, but which were refused by the player. *deep breath* With all that being said, we had every intention on releasing the contract. I have nothing to hide and I’ve made the mistake of allowing shit people to run my business. We’ve solved those issues & are trying our best. The contract was trash. There’s no denying that. — FaZe Banks (@Banks) May 23, 2019 We will release all the contracts we’ve since offered Tfue to try and make this right. Stay tuned for that. Trust me, nobody on this planet wanted him to sign a new healthy contract more than I did. Cause then at least we’d still have Turner in FaZe. And we’d still be homies. — FaZe Banks (@Banks) May 23, 2019 In a final message to Tfue, Banks pleaded that they meet in person to resolve the dispute. He also claims he still “loves” Tenney, despite the ongoing controversy. Listen you fuck @TTfue I really do still love you to death. If I could’ve prevented this from happening I would have. I did everything I could. I’m exhausted and I know you must be too. Let’s sit down and talk, please. Bring whoever you want from your side, I’ll come alone. — FaZe Banks (@Banks) May 23, 2019 Tfue is yet to respond to either the leaked contract or Banks’ Twitter posts, but the legal battle to have his contract voided is believed to be ongoing.

FaZe Banks admits that he would do a brand deal with this shocking company – Dexerto
FaZe Banks admits that he would do a brand deal with this shocking company In a hilarious Twitter conversation with Drama Alert host KEEMSTAR, FaZe content creator Ricky Banks admitted that he would do a brand deal with the condom brand Trojan – “no questions asked.” This hilarious moment arose after KEEMSTAR Tweeted a picture of YouTuber Toby ‘Tobuscus’ Turner advertising one of Trojan’s water-based lubricants on his Instagram account. KEEMSTAR roasted Turner in a series of Tweets, claiming that the YouTuber’s career was “over” due to the scandalous ad. “Dear Daniel, your career is over, you must leave the Internet now!” KEEMSTAR wrote, followed by, “(Please send me this tweet if I ever promote LUBE to pay the bills).” Dear Daniel, your career is over you must leave the Internet now! (Please send me this tweet if I ever promote LUBE to pay the bills) https://t.co/0sYG1RjAbC — KEEM  (@KEEMSTAR) November 18, 2018 FaZe Banks responded to KEEM’s roast by admitting that he would partner with the company if given the chance. “I would 100% do a brand deal with Trojan, no questions asked,” Banks replied. KEEMSTAR answered this statement by telling Banks that he could borrow money if he needed to – implying that Banks would have to be broke to agree to such a brand deal. “Dude, just text me,” KEEM said. “I can loan you money, no prob.” While Banks replied with a good-natured laugh, many commenters didn’t appear to see a problem with the hypothetical partnership. Tobuscus himself went dark in spring of 2016, after allegations of sexual assault surfaced against him by a former girlfriend, April Fletcher. Fletcher accused Turner of both emotional abuse and rape – claims that he vehemently denied in a YouTube response video.

FaZe Banks admits he spent $2m a year on ketamine & whippets – Dexerto
FaZe Banks admits he spent $2m a year on ketamine & whippets YouTube: Steve-O’s Wild Ride! PodcastFaZe Clan CEO Richard ‘Banks’ Bengston has admitted that he spent $2 million in a single year on a combination of drugs like ketamine, 2C-B and whippets. Banks has always been open about his drug use, and even documented much of it (within reason) in his rise on YouTube, particularly during the Clout House years when he lived with RiceGum, Alissa Violet, and the NELK Boys, among others. Since then, he’s gone sober, and regularly celebrates his sobriety — but has opened up on some of his past proclivities on several occasions. In an episode of the Wild Ride podcast posted on August 1, Banks told host and former Jackass star Steve-O all about his past, not flinching at all when acknowledging how much money he spent on his habits. “The whippets, man, I felt like OG Steve-O for a minute” he said. “We were f**king sickos. We were sickos. We were getting the tanks dropped off from a guy in his escalade, he was getting NOS (Nitrous Oxide) for like $1500 a night.” He then made the admission: “I spent $2m over the course of a year on rooms at Beverly Hills Hotel, 2C-B, Ketamine, and whippets.” Topic starts at 14:00 Since then, Banks says he has been drug and alcohol-free for almost 600 days, as well as taking back the reins of FaZe Clan from its former corporate ownership, “rebooting” the organization with just a handful of creators to drive the brand forward. The former Call of Duty sniper has made headlines for other reasons in 2024, too, including one of the biggest 1v1 matches in COD YouTube history, when he thrashed 100 Thieves CEO and ex-pro OpTic COD player Matthew ‘Nadeshot’ Haag in a sniper match on Rust.

FaZe Banks admits he might “never” return to YouTube again – Dexerto
FaZe Banks admits he might “never” return to YouTube again YouTube: FaZe BanksFaZe Clan figurehead Ricky ‘Banks’ Banks has admitted he may “never” return to YouTube again, despite the fact the infamous internet personality has built a fanbase of more than 5.38 million subscribers on the platform. FaZe fans should maybe stop holding their breath for a potential Banks YouTube return, the divisive star revealed earlier this week. He has “no plans, at all” to go back to his regular vlog series in 2020, and maybe won’t ever return. The 28-year-old first rose to fame on YouTube all the way back in 2011 with a series of Call of Duty highlight videos. He, along with FaZe as a whole, pivoted towards a more entertainer style in 2017, and began releasing semi-regular vlogs. In mid-2019, the FaZe figurehead’s YouTube content dried up completely. At the time, he said he was “focusing more on building FaZe Clan”. He also began co-hosting the podcast ‘Mom’s Basement’ alongside DramaAlert’s Keemstar. Banks returned to YouTube intermittently in the following year, sharing a few small updates on his relationship with Alissa Violet — which has since ended — and interviewing KSI ahead of his second consecutive Logan Paul fight. There was always an element of hope from FaZe fans that Banks was just taking a bit of a hiatus from YouTube, and would return. Those hopes appear to have now been dashed, with Banks admitting he may “never return.” “I’ve been going through some shit… same as the last 28 years,” Banks said on Mike Majlak’s ‘The Night Shift’ series. Majlak then asked him if he’d “ever return,” especially considering 100 Thieves’ Nadeshot demanded he come back. “Everybody misses Banks!” Majlak said again, calling for him to get back on the YouTube grind. The FaZe star shot down any potential comeback plans: “I won’t return anytime soon… no plans, at all.” “It’s cool doing stuff like this [guest starring on vlogs], because this is fun,” Banks continued, “but for me personally, I’m being real now, it doesn’t make me happy doing it. Being under the YouTube microscope, I don’t like it. Fine being in other people’s videos though, that’s cool.” The idea of Banks testing the waters with a Twitch streaming channel was also floated, but the FaZe star could only laugh. “Oh god no! No… there’s no failsafe, you can edit stuff out [on YouTube] but can’t do that on streaming. No way.” The related segment begins at 6:17 in the video below. Banks’ stance on his YouTube return echoes exactly why he took an extended break from the platform in 2018 as well. Two years ago, the 28-year-old took a short break, admitting he just “wasn’t feeling it anymore… wasn’t having fun.” “I stopped because I wasn’t having fun with it anymore, I’m only going to do this [YouTube] when I want to do this,” he added back in February, 2019. “If I don’t want to go as hard as I used to, then that’s just how it’s going to be.” Banks isn’t absent from the internet either. He, alongside Keemstar and Colossal Is Crazy, recently inked a mega-deal with Spotify for their ‘Mom’s Basement’ podcast series. Banks also stars in most FaZe Clan content videos released by the org.

FaZe Banks accuses Tati of exploiting James Charles drama to make money – Dexerto
FaZe Banks accuses Tati of exploiting James Charles drama to make money James Charles, Tati Westbrook – Instagram / Ricky Banks, YouTubeThe feud between popular beauty YouTubers James Charles and Tati Westbrook has taken another dramatic turn, after Charles exposed Tati’s “lies” in a forty-minute long video – and FaZe co-owner Ricky Banks isn’t convinced the drama came out of nowhere. Banks published a series of Tweets following the release of Charles’ “No More Lies” video on May 18, where he appeared to accuse Tati of using her beef with Charles as a way to promote her vitamin brand, ‘Halo Beauty.’ “Just watched James Charles’ video and holy fuck, did his friends do him dirty,” Banks began. “The entire internet did him soooo dirty. I mean I mean the proof is in the ‘receipts’ right?” Just watched @jamescharles video and holy fuck did his friends do him dirty. The entire internet did him soooo dirty. I mean I mean the proof is in the “”receipts”” right? Let this be a lesson, 99% of the time someone is “”spilling tea”” it’s going to be one-sided and exaggerated. — FaZe Banks (@Banks) May 18, 2019 Banks went on to point out Tati’s damning text sent to Charles about a waiter he allegedly sexually harassed during her birthday party, where she wrote, “You’re supposed to hook up with the waiter, not marry him.” That wasn’t the end of his rant, by far; Banks went on to demand that Tati reveal Halo’s profits following the release of her initial video, which she claimed was brought about by Charles promoting her direct competitor, SugarBearHair. Hey Tati, @GlamLifeGuru would it be too much to ask to share Halo Beautys sales report over the last month. I think we’d all appreciate/ like to know the impact this scandal had on your products success. If none of it was about vitamins then it really shouldn’t matter, right? — FaZe Banks (@Banks) May 18, 2019 “Hey Tati, would it be too much to ask to share Halo Beauty’s sales report over the last month?” Banks asked. “I think we’d all appreciate/like to know the impact this scandal had on your products success. If none of it was about vitamins then it really shouldn’t matter, right?” Banks likewise claimed that the fans of both YouTubers were the true victims of the scandal, wondering how many viewers felt sorry for Tati and bought her vitamins in response to their feud. Banks isn’t alone in his thinking, either; YouTube king Felix ‘PewDiePie’ Kjellberg expressed similar sentiments during a ‘Pew News’ segment on the topic, where he called her viral “Bye Sister” video an advertisement for Halo Beauty. “What has that to do with Tati’s brands?” Felix laughingly said of the video. “This is an ad.” [Timestamp: 10:23 for mobile users] In fact, Charles even thanked PewDiePie for giving him advice in a video dissecting his initial apology a day prior, where Kjellberg expressed major doubts that Charles would come back from the scandal. @pewdiepie thank you felix for both of the videos that you made about the situation. meant a lot that you saw what was going on, and the advice in your second video was incredibly helpful and appreciated. love you — James Charles (@jamescharles) May 18, 2019 Charles’ “No More Lies” video has since resulted in a major subscriber shift for all parties involved, with Tati losing subs at a fast rate while Charles looks to regain his 15 million sub count.

FaZe Banks addresses offshore gambling accusations: “I’m as legit as it gets” – Dexerto
FaZe Banks addresses offshore gambling accusations: “I’m as legit as it gets” YouTube: FaZe BanksFaZe Clan co-owner Ricky ‘Banks’ Bengston has responded to accusations regarding offshore gambling being levied against him. Throughout 2021, there have been various allegations against YouTube personalities, accused of being involved in cryptocurrency schemes and other gambling activities. Earlier in October 2021, NELK Boys’ SteveWillDoIt completely wiped his gambling channel after a video from notorious YouTube sleuth Coffeezilla suggested something shady was occurring. FaZe Clan have been embroiled in their own issues too, with members Kay, Jarvis, Nikan, and Teeqo all removed or suspended from the org for allegedly pumping and dumping a cryptocoin called Save the Kids. It’s more recently been alleged by fans and critics online that Banks himself could be involved with Roobet and its owners, thanks mostly to his huge deal with the company that saw them fly Banks, Adin Ross and more out to Mexico and give them around $2m to promote the platform. The main issue is that Roobet is not available in the U.S. — hence why questions have been asked over their activity. Banks appeared on the BFFs podcast with Josh Richards and Barstool’s Dave Portnoy to discuss the allegations. He said: “We did a 1-month stint campaign with them [Roobet], we were getting jets to Mexico, we did it completely 100% legit. I’m as legit as it gets.” Topic starts at 25:02 While Richards said that he had heard influencers were telling viewers to download a VPN so that they can access the site, Banks denied that any of that had happened. “That never happened, at least not from us,” he said. He went on to say that “we got paid fat for it,” but expressed some confusion over what exactly it was he and others were being accused of. “There were transactions with a [Ethereum] wallet super connected to Roobet, and it was like, ‘Why’s all this money coming in from this wallet to Banks, and then two seconds later he’s buying CryptoPunks’?” He then explained exactly what happened between his ETH wallet and the other. “We all know how Coinbase works. It’s annoying, it takes a while. I start sending messages out saying ‘Yo, do you have X dollars in Ethereum that I could buy off you?’ So one of these guys came back, he sends me the Ethereum, I did it all through my finance people. And I wired this guy out like $200,000.” While Banks doesn’t often speak out on his personal life and things that are going on behind the scenes, he’s very confident that he’s done nothing wrong in this situation and doesn’t want to be tarnished with that brush.

FaZe Banks accuses “corporate f**ks” of stealing FaZe and says he wants it back – Dexerto
FaZe Banks accuses “corporate f**ks” of stealing FaZe and says he wants it back Instagram: banksFaZe Clan co-owner Richard Banks has accused the company’s “corporate f**ks” of stealing the brand and is now demanding it back. Earlier this year, longstanding FaZe Clan member Teeqo lashed out at the organization, criticizing them for never giving “two f**ks” about him, and also accusing them of prioritizing paying new talent. Several other members have also spoken out against the organization, further accusing FaZe of its alleged wrongdoings. Now, FaZe Clan co-owner Banks has demanded that the organization is handed back to its rightful owners after it was “stolen.” Banks accuses “corporate f**ks” of stealing FaZe Despite claiming he doesn’t run FaZe, and hasn’t for a long-time in that matter, in an April 15 tweet Banks hit at the corporate side of the organization. The longstanding member, who’s been part of the organization for the last decade, accused them of stealing the brand, and now the FaZe co-owner demanded they hand it back. “Idk what all these corporate fucks think they’re doing, weighing options. Plotting. Doing whatever the fuck it is they’ve been doing,” he wrote. “But the answer is very simple. Give us our brand back, you stole it in the first place. It goes to zero otherwise. You have no idea what FaZe is.” FaZe fans have since come out in full support, with many hopeful that the legendary org will return to what it once was. “FaZe will eventually comeback. I feel it. W Banks ong,” wrote one fan. “100% feel you on this one. Give FaZe back to the fam that built it,” said another. FaZe recently released its 2022 Q4 financial results, showing a 32% year-over-year boost in revenue to $70 million. However, the organization still closed its first financial year as a public company with a $53.2 million net loss.

FaZe adds Stranger Things star Grace Van Dien to their streamer roster FaZe ClanFaZe Clan is adding a major celebrity to their roster of top-tier streamers, welcoming Stranger Things actress Grace Van Dien as their latest content creator. Stranger Things fans might recognize Grace Van Dien from her role as Chrissy Cunningham in Season 4 of the hit Netflix series, where she debuted as one of the most beloved characters in the show in spite of her short-lived role. However, she’s since taken a step back from acting, expressing that she prefers to stream on Twitch with friends like Pokimane, Valkyrae, Sykkuno, and more. Van Dien loves to play Valorant under the name ‘Bluefille’ on Twitch, where she’s racked up an impressive audience of over 325 followers (and over 6.2 million combined across multiple platforms). Now, she’s making even bigger moves in the streaming space by officially signing with esports and online entertainment group FaZe Clan. Grace Van Dien signs with FaZe Clan in major streaming acquisition On May 25, FaZe announced that it had officially signed Van Dien to its ranks, marking yet another major celebrity acquisition for the group who has worked with the likes of rappers Snoop Dogg and Lil Yachty. According to a press release, her content will continue to be focused around playing Valorant with her friends. However, she will also create vlogs detailing the activities of her daily life, as well as being on film sets. “Grace is breaking down barriers and paving the way for more women in gaming, but what we love most about her is that she’s not afraid to be herself,” FaZe said in a press release. “She’s unapologetically cool and confident, and she’s inspiring women everywhere to do the same.” Van Dien also expressed her excitement at joining up with FaZe. “Ever since my first meeting with FaZe, we shared the same vision in working together to create lasting change for female gamers in this industry,” she said of her decision to link up with the group. “We picked each other for a reason, and I’m excited to take on an important role in bringing women to the forefront. This is not just about the announcement of me joining FaZe, it’s what we’re going to do together.” This is just the latest big move for FaZe following their partnership with Porsche earlier this year.

FaZe Aitzy clears name as PUBG ban is removed following investigation – Dexerto
FaZe Aitzy clears name as PUBG ban is removed following investigation ESLThe ban placed on PUBG pro Ludvik ‘Aitzy’ Jahnsen’s Steam account has been overturned following an internal investigation by the developers. The Norweigian, who joined FaZe Clan back in November 2018, came under scrutiny on June 20 when it appeared that he had been banned from Player Unknown’s Battlegrounds for using hacks or cheats, seemingly after being reported by someone playing the game. Rod ‘Slasher’ Breslau originally broke the news of the ban, stating that a PUBG League source had confirmed to him that the ban had been made directly by PUBG Corp and Bluehole. Aitzy’s ban is legitimate and was made directly by PUBG Corporation/Bluehole, a league source confirms to me — Rod Breslau (@Slasher) June 20, 2019 According to Aitzy, the decision has now officially been overturned, posting an image of his Steam account with the ban removed from his Steam profile. The game-ban on PUBG was removed, will post a statement later about what went down. pic.twitter.com/afWcmad4mm — Aitzy (@FaZeAitzy) June 21, 2019 In a statement released by the player, Aitzy confirmed that when he logged on to Steam on June 20, he found the ban already active on his account. The Norwegian states that after contacting PUBG, and “fully cooperating” with them, the ban was subsequently lifted following an investigation by their internal anti-cheat team. Aitzy declined to comment on the specific nature of his ban, citing the “sensitivity of the anti-cheating topic.” Aitzy (second from left) pictured with the rest of FaZe Clan’s PUBG squad.FaZe Clan’s team currently competes in the PUBG Europe League, in which they currently sit in fourth place after five rounds of the competition, which would see them qualify for the $300,000 GLL Grand Slam Classic should they hold on to the position until the end of the season. With the ban now removed from his account, Aitzy will be eligible to compete in the sixth week of the competition, which kicks off on June 21.

FaZe Adapt slams Twitch for his “unfair” ban after Alinity controversy – Dexerto
FaZe Adapt slams Twitch for his “unfair” ban after Alinity controversy FaZe Adapt / Alinity, TwitchPopular content creator FaZe Adapt has called out Twitch for issuing him with an “unfair” ban, comparing it to Alinity’s recent suspension from the platform during his May 4 upload. Following his Twitch suspension for inappropriate content on May 1, Adapt has released a new YouTube video highlighting his confusion with how the Amazon-owned streaming platform issues their punishments. The FaZe member initially voiced his frustration after learning of the suspension, claiming that he was unaware of any infraction and that his ban was “not fair.” Adapt explained that after he had watched back through all of his Vods, after being banned from the broadcasting platform, he was still left unsure as to what had caused the suspension. “The thing about this ban is, people get banned on Twitch all the time, for example, Alinity she got banned finally, but with me, I’m not entirely sure what I did wrong,” he admitted. “I got a three-day ban for reasons unknown as of right now, they didn’t state that in the email,” he added, before comparing his suspension to Alinity’s controversial one-day-ban from the site. “She didn’t get banned when she fed her cat alcohol or when she chucked her cat over her shoulder,” he explained, highlighting her recent infraction, “It’s just ridiculous man, Twitch this is not fair. I’m not going to sit here and take it, I’m going to speak up, I can voice my opinion.” He later revealed that while he does enjoy streaming on the platform, he wants Twitch to provide more clarity for himself and others who receive suspensions in the future. “I don’t know how I feel about it, I don’t know if it’s fair,” he continued, “I like streaming on Twitch and want to continue streaming on Twitch I’d just appreciate it the next time if you ban me, you tell me what I did wrong so I can move forward and not make that mistake again.” This is not the only time that a streamer has been left stunned after receiving a ban, as PayMoneyWubby had also called for more information to be provided in the suspension notice after he was falsely banned.

FaZe Adapt unloads on Twitch after confusing ban on his first day back – Dexerto
FaZe Adapt unloads on Twitch after confusing ban on his first day back Twitter: FaZeAdaptUpdate (February 15, 7:40 PM PT): After 24 hours of being kept in the dark, FaZe Adapt’s Twitch channel has been restored. The popular content creator still has no answers as to why his account was banned in the first place. A day after being removed from the streaming platform and FaZe Adapt is now back on Twitch. It took just over 24 hours for Twitch to overturn the punishment, though no further context was provided. “Can someone please help me figure out what’s going on,” he tweeted just 30 minutes prior to having access restored. However, it still remains a mystery as to why the ban came through in the first place. “At least tell me why I got suspended so I don’t do it again,” he added. Hey @TwitchSupport I got suspended for 1 day at 6:44pm yesterday and it’s been over 24 hours and my account is still suspended…can someone please help me figure out what’s going on or at least tell me why I got suspended so I don’t do it again? — FaZe Adapt (@FaZeAdapt) February 16, 2021 The original story can be found below. Alexander ‘FaZe Adapt’ Hamilton has been hit with his second ban on Twitch and while 10 months removed from the first strike, the popular content creator is more confused than ever. [jwplayer KD1gIhoh] Adapt has been removed from Twitch for a second time after an allegedly innocent broadcast on February 14. The FaZe Clan member had just returned to the platform to join in on the resurging Grand Theft Auto roleplay craze. On his “first day back” at Twitch in a number of months, all access to his account has now been revoked. This punishment came as a complete surprise as Adapt was left questioning his second ban. “I get banned for streaming GTA RP, WTF? How?” Adapt asked on Twitter in response to the news. No different from his previous ban, Adapt appears clueless as to how he stepped out of line. ❌ Twitch Partner “”Adapt”” has been banned! ❌https://t.co/yrjoEiPz7X#twitch #ban #secondban #partner #twitchpartner 🏥 — StreamerBans (@StreamerBans) February 15, 2021 As is standard Twitch procedure, this ban came without any additional reasoning. Not only is Adapt confused, but so too are the viewers who were watching along live. This comes almost a year after his first ban on the platform. Back in May of 2020, he was removed for broadcasting “suggestive content or activities.” Though he fought back against this punishment and was soon reinstated. There’s no telling what led to this secondary ban on Twitch just yet. Similar to the first occurrence, we might never get a clear understanding of this punishment. Read More: Tfue closes gap on Ninja on Twitch – A number of replies on Twitter point towards Adapt having violated the “hateful conduct and harassment” section of the community guidelines. However, there’s currently no evidence to verify these claims. MY FIRST DAY BACK STREAMING IN MONTHS I GET BANNED FOR STREAMING GTA RP WTF??? HOW??! https://t.co/iNMg3DYC0b — FaZe Adapt (@FaZeAdapt) February 15, 2021 Adapt wasn’t all too happy following his first ban on the platform and the second instance seems to be no different. “It’s just ridiculous man, Twitch this is not fair,” he said back in May. “I’m not going to sit here and take it, I’m going to speak up, I can voice my opinion.” There’s no indication of how long this new ban will last though we’ll be sure to keep you updated with any further details.

Father outraged after catching museum employee following his family around – Dexerto
Father outraged after catching museum employee following his family around TikTok: JandkidsA father is going viral on TikTok after catching a museum employee following his family around, giving the worker a stern talking-to that viewers couldn’t get enough of. There are times when TikTok videos rally people together toward a certain cause. Examples of this can be found when a woman went viral for recording her neighbor destroying her property, prompting users to send their well-wishes and legal advice in droves. Now, another viral video has brought netizens together after a father had enough of a museum employee following his family around as he viewed artwork together with his children. Father and TikTok user ‘JandKids’ was perusing Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art when he noticed an employee standing off in the corner, seemingly keeping an eye on him and his kids. Father goes viral berating museum employee following his family around At first, the employee had asked the dad to make sure his children weren’t “jumping around and being too energetic near the paintings” as they viewed some of the artwork. J confirmed with the employee that he would make sure to do just that… but the worker continued to follow them even as they walked into another room, which apparently showcased ancient tombs. This set the father off, who got out his phone to record the situation and called out the worker for his behavior. “Are you about to follow us the whole time, man?” J asked. “If you’re gonna follow me the whole time, then give us a god damn tour! I know how to control my kids. You asked me to make sure they don’t run, I’m not gonna do that.” The employee crossed his arms and sighed, seemingly refusing to make eye contact with the dad. “You can roll your eyes all you want,” J told him. “You look like a little girl, man. Tighten up!” Viewers flooded the comments section in support of J, with many pointing out how the employee was “peeking behind the pillar” watching them. “They way you caught him hiding around that corner,” one viewer wrote. “Omg the way he was creeping behind those pillars,” yet another said. “I hope you got a refund. Sorry this happened to you!” “You stepped in like that man’s father and taught him a lesson,” yet another wrote. This is just the latest incident to go viral on TikTok after a woman took out her revenge on the company that laid her off in an epic way.

FaZe Adapt “confused” after Twitch bans him for inappropriate content – Dexerto
FaZe Adapt “confused” after Twitch bans him for inappropriate content YouTube: FaZe AdaptFaZe Adapt has been banned from Twitch but the popular content creator is all too confused over what may have actually led to the punishment. Amid a period of inconsistent consequences across the Amazon-owned streaming platform, Alexander ‘FaZe Adapt’ Hamilton has found himself barred from going live. The FaZe Clan member couldn’t quite tell you what led to the punishment, however, as he took to Twitter to vent his frustrations on April 30. “This is pretty cringe,” the 22-year-old content creator said on Twitter as he revealed a temporary punishment from Twitch. Adapt received a three-day suspension after broadcasting “suggestive content or activities.” With over 130,000 followers on his channel, Adapt had recently been building out his presence on Twitch. Throughout the month of April alone, he gained over 40,000 new members. Expanding on the situation, it seems as though both Adapt and his viewers are all but stumped as to what actually caused the ban. No warning was issued, and the official email failed to address how Adapt broke the rules. Claiming that he avoided anything too risky on stream, Adapt argued that he “never showed anything like that unless [he’s] just completely clueless.” Countless fans chimed in also questioning just what could have resulted in the punishment from Twitch. Closing in on six million subscribers on YouTube, perhaps the vague ban could force Adapt to jump ship with his livestreaming efforts. im confused af… i definitely never showed anything sexual like that unless im just completely clueless and have no idea what im saying — FaZe Adapt (@FaZeAdapt) May 1, 2020 In such a tumultuous time for the platform, with a seemingly inconsistent approach to handing out bans and suspensions, this latest action has just led to more confusion. At the time of writing, no clips have surfaced that showcase Adapt breaking the Twitch terms of service. If anything comes to light, it’ll be included here shortly.

Father of “Charlie Bit My Finger” brothers responds after imposter goes viral TikTok: TedZhar/YouTube: JasminmakeupThe father of the iconic “Charlie Bit My Finger’ brothers has responded after a TikTok video went viral showing a man on a multi-million dollar Yacht claiming he was the YouTuber. When YouTube was first taking off in 2007, Howard Davies-Carr uploaded a video of his sons Harry and Charlie so the boys’ godfather could see it as they lived in two separate countries. That video quickly became known as the iconic “Charlie Bit My Finger” video, receiving over 897 million views before being sold as an NFT in 2021. A video recently went viral on TikTok showing a 17-year-old man on a multi-million dollar yacht claiming to be one of the internet icons, but according to their father, the man in the video isn’t actually one of his boys. “Charlie Bit MY finger” father responds after impostor goes viral In the days since it was uploaded, the video showing the man claiming to be one of the iconic boys has been viewed nearly 8.5 million times. However, in a statement to Insider, Charlie’s father Howard responded to the viral video. He said: “This video has nothing to do with Harry or Charlie. There has been any number of instances of people pretending to be Harry or Charlie over the years.” Howard also told Insider that he found the video to be of no real harm, but “just a little sad really.” Neither Charlie nor Harry, the boys from the original video, have maintained an internet presence as they’ve gotten older leading fans to wonder what they’re up to now. The only thing we do know is that they’re not chillin’ on a multi-million dollar yacht.

Fast food expert makes Aunty Anne’s Pretzel Bites from scratch – Dexerto
Fast food expert makes Aunty Anne’s Pretzel Bites from scratch Aunty AnnesA fast food expert on TikTok has shared a viral hack to make Aunty Anne’s Pretzel Bites from scratch, leaving fans divided. Fast food fan and TikTok creator, Jordan, has recently shared on the platform how to make Aunty Anne’s famous Pretzel Bites at home. Jordan has gained a lot of attention on the platform in previous videos, where he shared various food hacks, including how to make Big Mac sauce, as well as Baja Blast. Now, he’s showing fans how to recreate Pretzel Bites, saying he “didn’t realize how expensive they were,” to purchase in-store. In a video, which has gained over 882,000 views, Jordan uses a container of biscuit dough, along with a few other ingredients, which he claims cost him a mere $5. In comparison, a bucket of Pretzel Bites from Aunty Anne’s costs $19.99. In the video, he cuts the biscuits up, soaks them in a lye bath, simply consisting of water and baking soda, then places them in a fryer at 330. After this, he bastes them in butter, then creates a coating made of sugar and cinnamon to place on the bites. This recipe, he said, should make approximately 30 pretzel bites. Fans divided by Jordan’s video Many people were excited by Jordan’s Pretzel Bites, stating that they were a great money-saving hack when fast food prices were on the rise. One said, “At this rate, I’m going to have an entire collection saved for Jordan’s hacks.” Another agreed, saying “Normally I don’t trust TikTok recipes but I trust Mr President.” Some, however, were dubious about the recipe, wondering if they actually tasted like the authentic Pretzel Bites from Aunty Annes. One such comment corrected his method for making the Pretzel Bites, stating, “You actually boil the lye bath and let them sit for 20-30 seconds. I’ve made the faint pretzels homemade. That’s why they don’t look right.” An actual worker at Aunty Anne’s also had something to say on the matter. “I work at Philly Pretzel Factory, we have a real lye bath (baker lye, NaOH) at 160 – 180 F, a quick dip and we bake at 550 F for 7 minutes, then salt before baking.” It’s up for debate whether or not Jordan’s Pretzel Bite hack tastes like the real thing, but for a mere $5, it’s a winner for many.

VTubers taking over Twitch: Fastest growing VTuber channels to watch – Dexerto
VTubers taking over Twitch: Fastest growing VTuber channels to watch Twitter: Nyanners / Twitter: AdmiralBahrooVTubers are proving to be more than just an internet craze. The new wave of content creators has taken Twitch by storm since exploding in late 2020, and it doesn’t seem like slowing down. Here’s the best Twitch VTubers you should keep an eye on. While VTubing — using a virtual avatar in place of a physical person while livestreaming and creating content — has been around for a couple of years, it wasn’t until Hololive EN got off the ground in late 2020 that the craze truly boomed. Pokimane, PewDiePie, everyone was getting a piece of the pie. While it’s died off somewhat, some Twitch streamers have taken their communities to the next level after becoming a VTuber. With new records being set daily, debuts happening every hour, and numbers going through the roof, here’s the best VTubers on Twitch you need to watch. AdmiralBahroo The self-described “Panda VTuber” AdmiralBahroo is by far the biggest VTuber on Twitch. While he was a popular variety streamer before, since his VTuber debut in April, his numbers have catapulted from just over 2 million hours watched in January to 2.5 million in June, according to data from Rainmaker (h/t StreamElements). It finally put a face to AdmiralBahroo’s previously unmanned stream, adding a new layer of personality for the panda (and his taller, human companion). Ironmouse Unlike Bahroo, Ironmouse has been doing content as a VTuber since the beginning. Part of the VShojo circle, she started out in August 2017 before getting signed to the agency near the end of 2020 off the back of the boom. The Demon Queen from the depths of the underworld is well-known for their singing streams, pumping out covers and originals for her fans to enjoy. She also does get around to playing some games with other members of VShojo, including Resident Evil and Black Desert Online. nyanners Nyanners was already massively popular on YouTube for their song covers but exploded once she could take her pink-haired catgirl persona from just images to Live2D. She debuted as a VTuber in July 2020, with under 100,000 followers. She now has over 540,000, with nearly 9,000 people on average tuning in every day for her variety streams. For long-time fans of the cover artist, they can also catch her performing some of her songs live. She’s also a part of VShojo like Ironmouse, with the two of them typically collaborating with game nights and other events. Zentreya Rounding out the VShojo trio on Twitch is the half-dragon Zentreya. Her quirky speech-to-text-to-speech (making her sound like Microsoft Sam or Mary) style piqued the interest of many on Twitch, tripling her hours watched since January to 435,000, according to Rainmaker. She often streams games like Apex Legends as well as her Dungeons and Dragons campaign (where you can imagine how the text-to-speech works), which only adds to the hilarity of her broadcasts. NimuVT NimuVT is a new addition to Twitch, having only debuted on the platform in April 2021. However, since starting out with around 2,000 average viewers a stream, they have catapulted to nearly 4,000 viewers daily. The Argentinian VTuber is one of the biggest from Latin America, with 1 million fans combined across YouTube and Twitch, breaking into the top 10 of the platform.

Farting passenger booted off American Airlines flight after argument causes delay – Dexerto
Farting passenger booted off American Airlines flight after argument causes delay Unsplash.com: Ross SokolovskiA “disgruntled” passenger was allegedly booted off an American Airlines flight after “purposefully farting” and getting into an argument with other fliers. Thanks to the advent of social media, more fliers than ever are recording instances of wild behavior and jaw-dropping moments that happen during their flights. For instance, a man was left “traumatized” after being stuck in an airplane bathroom for 90 minutes during his SpiceJet flight from Mumbai to Bengaluru — not to mention the woman who went viral in 2023 for claiming one of her fellow passengers “wasn’t real” in a viral meltdown. Now, another in-flight incident is taking social media by storm due to one flier’s seriously stinky attitude. Farting passenger causes American Airlines flight to get delayed Reddit user ‘Glamgalatx’ is going viral after recounting their wild experience on an American Airlines flight bound to Austin, Texas from Phoenix, Arizona in January 2024. According to the Redditor, they noticed a “disgruntled” passenger muttering under his breath and seeming apparently annoyed after boarding the aircraft. A short while later, the man shouted to no one in particular, “You thought that was rude? Well how about this smell?” and let out a loud fart. While the Redditor thought this was “kinda funny,” they also felt it was “uncalled for, especially coming from a grown man on an airplane.” At this point, their plane was still at the gate. Since their flight was in the evening, the Redditor remarked that several passengers were eating snacks — something the farting passenger appeared to take umbrage with. “Yeah, everybody, let’s just eat the smelliest food possible all at the same time,” he remarked. This sparked an argument between “fartman,” as the Redditor called him, and other passengers. “If you don’t like it, you can fly private,” another flier retorted — to which fartman hit back saying, “That’s so f*cking rude.” “I think we’d all agree you’re the rude one here,” another interjected. “That’s just so low class,” Fartman allegedly replied, which earned a rebuttal from another passenger: “Well, you’re back here in economy with the rest of us.” The Redditor claimed that flight attendants stepped in to mediate the argument — but after taxiing on the runway, the plane turned around back to the gate. A flight attendant came up to the farting flier and told him he was no longer allowed to stay on the craft. “We all breathed a sigh of relief when he was removed,” the Redditor wrote. “I think most people were on edge about what he may say or do next. The trip was only delayed by 15-30 minutes, so all in all, I think American handled it swiftly.”

Farmer ordered to pay after judge rules thumbs-up emoji a valid contractual agreement – Dexerto
Farmer ordered to pay after judge rules thumbs-up emoji a valid contractual agreement Johan Godínez / Karyna PanchenkoOne unlucky farmer was ordered to pay for an undelivered product after a judge determined that a thumbs-up emoji amounted to a valid contractual agreement. Emojis have become a staple of modern life, appearing on all platforms of social media and often used to communicate without the effort of writing a response. Many of the small images can have multiple interpretations (we’re looking at you, eggplant emoji), with one Canadian farmer finding this out the hard way. The Court of King’s Bench decision determined a thumbs-up emoji sent by Swift Current farmer Chris Achter indicated that the farmer had agreed to deliver product worth over $82,000. Kent Mickleborough, the buyer in question, had spoken to Achter over the phone prior to texting through a contract to deliver 86 tonnes of flax for $17 per bushel. Mickleborough also added “please confirm flax contract”, to which Achter replied with a thumbs-up emoji. However, when the delivery was supposed to arrive in November, Mickleborough received nothing. By this time, prices for the crop had increased and the two ultimately ended up in court to resolve the issue. “I deny that he accepted the thumbs-up emoji as a digital signature of the incomplete contract,” Achter said in an affidavit to the court. “I did not have time to review the Flax Contract and merely wanted to indicate that I did receive his text message.” However, the judge, Justice Timothy Keene, agreed with Mickleborough and ruled that the emoji met signature requirements. This meant Achter was in breach of the contract and would need to pay. Achter’s lawyers have argued that this unusual case and its subsequent ruling would “open the floodgates” for cases surrounding the interpretation of emojis. “This court cannot (nor should it) attempt to stem the tide of technology and common usage – this appears to be the new reality in Canadian society and courts will have to be ready to meet the new challenges that may arise from the use of emojis and the like,” Keene said, staying true to his decision. Fans worried for TSM Myth’s safety after latest adulting fail – Dexerto
Fans worried for TSM Myth’s safety after latest adulting fail TSM member Ali ‘Myth‘ Kabbani followed up his shower curtain blunder with something a bit more dangerous, this time covering up an air vent with a t-shirt. Myth has been living at the TSM house in Los Angeles ever since he moved out of his parents’ house in Michigan, and he’s had some growing pains along the way. While he’s been successful as a Fortnite streamer, the real-life aspect of his adventure has been pretty hit or miss. After ramming a rod through his shower curtain without using rings, Myth was dragged by social media, with many laughing at his thought process behind the whole thing. That was a relatively harmless mistake to make, but what he decided to do with an air vent could potentially be quite dangerous. What did he do? He tweeted about how a shirt and duct tape can solve all of your problems. That isn’t problematic on its own, but when he revealed he did it to cover an air vent, that’s where some issues arose. A picture showed that he completely covered up the vent, which led many replies concerned about his safety, as this can not only cause issues for the air conditioning but could also be a fire hazard. A fortnite shirt and duct tape can solve all your problems. Easy home DIY vent cover. pic.twitter.com/Xkf4ux6ox3 — Myth (@TSM_Myth) July 6, 2019 He attempted to quell those concerns by posting a follow-up picture showing that the vent isn’t fully covered. It didn’t really help alleviate any worries, but replies did find it to be a humorous, albeit unintentional, diss on Apex Legends since he used an Apex shirt to cover up the vent. It’s okay guys this vent isnt fully closed. pic.twitter.com/KBlwq0PQAE — Myth (@TSM_Myth) July 6, 2019 It does seem like it’d be easier to just turn off the air or put on some extra layers of clothes if he’s really that cold, but we can’t blame the dude for trying. Hopefully he’ll be able to find a safer way to fix his problem though!

Fans worry Charli D’Amelio & Avani Gregg’s friendship is over amid cryptic TikToks Instagram: avani, charlidamelioFans are concerned that Charli D’Amelio and Avani Gregg’s friendship may be over after Gregg posted a series of shady videos to TikTok. Charli D’Amelio and Avani Gregg have been friends for years. The two influencers, who boast a combined 193 million followers on TikTok, are thick as thieves, and even got matching tattoos together last year. Charli and Avani also wore matching Halloween costumes from Spongebob in 2021, and Charli even defended her bestie amid rumors that her ex-boyfriend, Anthony Reeves, possibly cheated on her in 2022. It’s clear that these two are there for each other through thick and thin… but fans believe that their close friendship might be over, according to a few cryptic clips Gregg recently uploaded to TikTok. Fans convinced Avani Gregg shaded Charli D’Amelio in cryptic TikToks On February 26, Avani uploaded a clip of herself downing an alcoholic beverage set to Drake’s ‘Fair Trade,’ which includes the lyrics: “I been losing friends and finding peace / But honestly, that sounds like a fair trade to me.’ That’s not all; Avani captured the post, ‘When in Milan,’ alongside a sad face emoji, a caution sign emoji, and a peace sign emoji. Avani’s location is notable, as Charli was also in Milan for fashion week… but it’s clear the two creators weren’t hanging out together. Avani also posted another TikTok prior to this set to J. Cole’s ‘My Life,’ with the lyrics: “If you betray me, you dead to me / I disrespect you, respectfully.” Avani also flipped off the camera — although it’s unclear if the gesture was specifically meant for Charli or not. For now, neither she nor Charli have made any mention of their friendship, leaving fans in the dark as they await an update from these two TikTok BFFS.

Fanum’s Lamborghini taken after being held at gunpoint by police – Dexerto
Fanum’s Lamborghini taken after being held at gunpoint by police itsrayasianboyy | InstagramFanum was livestreaming from the Dominican Day parade in New York City when he was pulled over by police who held him at gunpoint. Though the Twitch streamer wasn’t arrested, his driver was. Police also drove off with his Lamborghini Urus. For the entire time he was riding through the Dominican Day parade, Fanum’s car was surrounded by fans. He also livestreamed the entire thing, but the VoD has since been deleted. When trying to leave the parade after streaming from it for over an hour, Fanum was stopped by the police who approached him, guns drawn. Though he stayed calm during their approach, he expressed his confusion as to why they were approaching his vehicle with weapons in hand. “He’s got his gun out, why does he have his gun out?!” he questioned. A short time after, Fanum’s stream abruptly ended. However, the story continued on both his and Ray’s Snapchat. Fanum’s driver, Walton, was arrested by police before the authorities drove off the streamer’s Lamborghini Urus, leaving him to walk his way out of the parade. Video from both him and Ray show that the NYPD even had helicopters surveying the scene. Several hours after Fanum’s Lamborghini was seized, images emerged of an NYPD officer posing for photos with the streamer’s car. The caption read: “Dominican Day parade. They outside, we outside too.” Kai Cenat would go on to reply to a post of the image, saying simply, “[NYPD] F*** EM.” Fanum himself hasn’t responded to the images. On July 29, Fanum posted a statement about the situation to his Instagram stories, where he accused the police of “just wanting to drive a Lambo.” “Ya decided to pull a gun on me and all them kids for what?” he wrote. “We had a permit to be in the parade. Then after NYPD carjacks me on stream, they pose up with my vehicle like a photoshoot. “Them suits on the way. I got a bag and time. Let’s do it.” This isn’t the first time someone from the AMP crew has gotten in trouble with the police, as Kai Cenat’s NYC stream in 2023 made headlines for shutting down entire blocks in New York City. Kai didn’t have to stand trial for it but was fined $55,000 and apologized for the incident. No legal action beyond the fine was pursued by the NYPD. The AMP crew has been, however, kicked out of their penthouse in New York City. Fanum and friends will have to find another place to live if they want to keep streaming from New York. We’ll be sure to update you here as any further details emerge.

Fans worried after Dream claims he’s undergoing “major surgery” Instagram: dreamwastakenFans of popular Minecraft creator ‘Dream’ are left with questions as the influencer claimed he was possibly undergoing “major surgery” in a sudden social media post. Dream is one of the net’s most widely-recognized personalities, boasting 31 million subscribers on YouTube and over 6 million followers on Twitch. Dream is a hugely popular figure in the Minecraft community, but he’s also started to branch out into the music biz, most recently releasing his song ‘Everest’ alongside rapper Yung Gravy on July 28. However, the excitement fans had about his latest track was soon dampened by an alarming post he made on Twitter that very same day that’s leaving his viewers begging for answers. Fans panic as Dream says he’s getting “major surgery” On July 28, Dream penned a tweet saying, “Terrible timing for a major surgery.” At the time of writing, Dream has yet to expound upon this statement on any of his social media accounts, leaving fans desperate for answers. “Please, a crumb of information and context for your worried fans,” one user wrote in response. Dream isn’t the only influencer to have sent social media into a frenzy following a sudden hospital visit; YouTube star Markiplier also caused his fans to panic after uploading a photo of himself in the hospital with blood red eyes in June (but luckily, he was alright).

xQc addresses cryptic Adept photos after “house tour” video leaves fans concerned – Dexerto
xQc addresses cryptic Adept photos after “house tour” video leaves fans concerned YouTube, Twitter: xQcTwitch star xQc showed off his home in a “house tour” video on Twitter — but fans were left worried when the end of the video showed a police car outside with its lights on, and even more concerned after ex-partner Adept posted some cryptic photos to Instagram. Felix ‘xQc’ Lengyel is one of Twitch’s most-followed streamers. As such, the French-Canadian broadcaster’s personal life is of great interest to his fans… especially his love life. Over the past several months, xQc’s split from former partner Adept has become a major talking point among his viewers. The two notably broke up amid a fiery argument last year, and things have been escalating ever since. In fact, Adept claimed that she was married to Lengyel for three years in a Twitch stream on May 31 — despite an alleged court order preventing her ex from discussing the breakup on stream. That’s not all; xQc abruptly ended a broadcast on June 6, with many fans speculating that Adept had possibly shown up at his home without warning. Now, these rumors are reaching a fever pitch thanks to a video the streamer posted on Twitter the very next day. xQc’s “house tour” concerns fans as police car is spotted outside In the video, xQc took his fans on a “house tour,” showing off all the rooms in his large home… but the caption was throwing some viewers off. “HERE’S THE AWAITED HOUSE TOUR!” he wrote in all caps. “I LOVE OWNING A NICE HOUSE AND BEING ABLE TO LIVE IN IT PEACEFULLY!” His caption made more sense once fans peeped the end of the video, which showed xQc walking outside his home into his front yard. Although it was dark outside, a police car could be seen parked on the other side of the street with its lights flashing. In addition, it looked like two people and a police officer having a conversation outside his doorstep, causing some viewers to think that an incident had taken place… potentially, something to do with Adept. “I’m heading out,” xQc says to the officer as he walks down the sidewalk out of his yard. “Thank you for helping out.” xQc explains confusing Instagram photos posted by Adept That was far from the end of the drama, though. Mere hours later, fans noticed that xQc’s ex, Adept, had posted photos of a ring and seemingly some with xQc to her Instagram stories with no captions. The pics confused fans, and xQc offered some clarification in another tweet. “There’s a reason everything is being posted in such a cryptic way,” he explained. “Cars were going around the house, neighbors told me. Then I got a call, pleading for me to be there for ‘safety.’ Like a b*tch, I caved in and slept in my own bed. Pics taken while I’m still sleeping. Fun times.” It seems that, based on his tweet, Adept called him to the house for ‘safety’ reasons as cars were going up and down the street. He then slept in his own bed, where Adept may have taken the photos while he was unaware. Fans are still expressing concern for the streamer as his relationship issues continue to plague his broadcasts.

TikTok star Peyton Coffee facing backlash for erasing her ‘fan wall’ – Dexerto
TikTok star Peyton Coffee facing backlash for erasing her ‘fan wall’ Instagram: peytoncoffeeHawaiian influencer Peyton Coffee has attracted backlash from fans after her Snapchat story showed her painting over her ‘fan wall’. As explained in a video by TikTok user @tylersenglishproject, fans had been sending Coffee gifts over the past two years in order to have their account handles written on her wall in return. In the comments, a lot of fans expressed their upset over Coffee painting over that wall, with one user even accusing the star of “using her followers for money”, whilst another demanding she “refund people money”. The video also led to fans sharing some negative experiences with Coffee. One commenter described how after buying Peyton a gift, the influencer subsequently unfollowed her. However, many fans have also moved to defend Coffee, with some users pointing out that the reason she was painting the wall was that the family was moving. Meanwhile, other users demanded angry fans get some perspective, with one commenter noting: “It’s her wall… y’all need to grow up [sic].” The original poster of the TikTok, on the other hand, is sticking to his guns. He said in a comment: “No hate for Payton, she seems sweet, but she didn’t have to post this.” This isn’t the first time Peyton Coffee has attracted criticism and trolling over the way she approaches her followers. She was previously mocked for posting a TikTok appealing for more followers, describing how she was ‘so close’ to 13 million followers despite, at the time, being 700,000 followers away. One commenter quipped, “I mean you’re a lot closer 12M to 13M so we could bring you back down if we really tried”, while another user said, “By the time you hit 13M, this trend is gonna be over. Who is Peyton Coffee? For the Coffees, it would appear that being an influencer runs in the family. Peyton is the daughter of influencer and family vlogger Jason Coffee, who boasts 20.4 million TikTok followers as well as a million on Instagram. As well as regularly featuring in her father’s content with her brother Caleb, Peyton has branched out to become a social media personality in her own right. Although she lags behind her father by 13 million followers on TikTok, she has overtaken him on Instagram, with her own account boasting 2.7 million followers. Peyton is yet to respond to those criticizing her for painting over her ‘fan wall’, so it remains to be seen what her stance is on what many people view to be a controversial move.

Corpse answered that he’s been playing a ton of flash games from the Newgrounds era, claiming that he loves “playing s**ttily-made games” — and while this might seem like a normal way to pass the time for most people, his fans are growing worried. In the comments section of a clip taken from the stream and posted to YouTube, a slew of commenters spoke out regarding Corpse’s answer and demeanor, with some speculating that the YouTuber sounds depressed or “hungover.” “He doesn’t sound ok at all, and that makes me really sad,” one commenter wrote. “I’m an addict, and he sounds like he’s either messed up or hungover. Y’all savage ppl are putting him through hell when he doesn’t deserve it. I hope he gets better.” “Not too long ago he’s said he’s been in the studio 24/7,” another said. “Hope he gets better.” Corpse Husband fans concerned after “sad” podcast appearance Although there’s no way to tell exactly how Corpse is feeling from a short clip, and these comments are only mere speculation, Corpse did mention in the podcast with Brodin that he’s been drinking “6 or 7 coffees a day.” The streamer said that coffee impacts his voice with inflammation, possibly sparking this concern from fans. (Topic begins at 19:52) Whatever the case may be, it’s clear that his fans are sending him goodwill after not hearing from their favorite content creator in some time. Corpse has not responded to these concerns at the time of writing.

Fans think Olivia Rodrigo threw shade at Lil Huddy on TikTok – but is it real? – Dexerto
Fans think Olivia Rodrigo threw shade at Lil Huddy on TikTok – but is it real? Instagram: oliviarodrigo, huddyFans are convinced that Olivia Rodrigo threw shade at TikTok star Lil Huddy in a comment — but it doesn’t look like the viral interaction was actually real. Olivia Rodrigo is a massive name in the music biz right now, coming fresh off the release of her latest album, ‘GUTS.’ Rodrigo had the internet in a chokehold in 2021 with the release of her viral song, Driver’s License, and it’s been off to the races ever since. However, many fans were left stunned after seeing the star supposedly leave a comment throwing some not-so-subtle shade at Chase Hudson AKA Lil Huddy, a music artist and TikTok star with a similar musical style. Fans shocked after Olivia Rodrigo comment goes viral Pics of a comment that Rodrigo had allegedly left under one of TikTok star Bryce Hall’s videos quickly made the rounds online. In the short clip, Hall listens to a snippet from Rodrigo’s song, Vampire, which contains lyrics very similar to Huddy’s ‘All The Things I Hate About You.’ Hall captioned the video: “Lil Huddy listening to Olivia Rodrigo copy his song,” seemingly poking fun at the similarities between the two tracks. Nearly two months later, a screenshot from the video has begun floating around online, showing a comment from Olivia Rodrigo’s official account that says: “What the f*ck is a Lil Huddy?” Many fans were convinced that Rodrigo had called out Hudson online and left a slew of comments on Bryce’s quoting her alleged remark — but it turns out that the entire situation was faked. In fact, the person who created the fake comment apparently spoke out about the situation on Twitter/X, admitting that they were actually behind the whole thing. Even Bryce Hall himself was convinced the entire ordeal was real and was seemingly shocked that his video elicited a response from Rodrigo… but unfortunately, she’s never publicly acknowledged Lil Huddy.

Fans think YouTuber Heyzeus accidentally face revealed in this viral TikTok – Dexerto
Fans think YouTuber Heyzeus accidentally face revealed in this viral TikTok YouTube: HeyZeusPopular CS:GO skins YouTuber HeyZeus has never revealed his face, preferring to keep a low profile, but his attempts to keep his appearance private may have been foiled – as fans are convinced he’s been spotted in a now-viral TikTok. While most YouTubers and Twitch streamers will have a face cam, there are plenty who don’t, and are just as successful. For some, it’s even part of their intrigue, such as Corpse Husband. HeyZeus is one such creator. He makes videos about CS:GO skins and skin trading, often telling the stories of traders, trading websites, and the community, and has over 300,000 subscribers. But, he’s never shown his face. But, judging by a TikTok video posted by Jamie Zhu, Zeus’s face may have been ‘leaked’ — after a man who sounds identical to him, and is a YouTuber, was interviewed in the street. HeyZeus face reveal? Although not confirmed, there’s no denying the incredible similarity in the voice heard in the clip and HeyZeus himself – who has a rather particular accent and way of speaking. Despite confirming he is a YouTuber, the man in the video refuses to reveal his channel name — something fans think is further evidence that it’s HeyZeus. The TikTok now has over 9 million views, much more than Jamie Zhu’s other uploads. And the comments are full of HeyZeus fans, absolutely convinced that it’s him. “Poor HeyZeus. didn’t want a face reveal to his YT but then this is how the face reveal went. tuff,” one commenter wrote. HeyZeus had actually been hyping up a face reveal if he ever got a back-to-back knife unboxing. Given the odds of getting a knife in CS:GO are around 400/1, getting two in a row was an exceptionally unlikely possibility. Others think HeyZeus was probably fine with the video, given he would know how recognizable his voice is: “that voice is way too recognizable for Zeus to be doing this.” Zeus hasn’t responded to the viral TikTok to deny that it is him either, despite being pestered with it on Twitter, perhaps hoping to draw less attention to it. But with over 9 million views, it looks like the cat may be out of the bag.

Fans think Jake Paul is dissing Logan for supporting KSI amid boxing rivalry – Dexerto
Fans think Jake Paul is dissing Logan for supporting KSI amid boxing rivalry YouTube: Fight Hub TVFans are convinced that Jake Paul threw some shade toward big bro Logan for continuing to support his longtime rival, KSI, following his boxing loss to Tommy Fury. Jake Paul experienced the first loss in his boxing career against British rival Tommy Fury on February 26, falling short by split-decision from the judges. This opens him up for his long-awaited bout against KSI, with whom he’s been vying for a boxing match for years — but things are a little complicated because KSI is besties with Jake’s big brother, Logan Paul. In fact, the two are even business partners, having started the PRIME Hydration drink brand together early last year following their own infamous boxing rivalry that lasted two years. Jake Paul’s latest tweet sparks rumors of feud with Logan Paul Although Logan has firmly said that he’ll be in Jake’s corner if his fight with KSI ever comes to pass, it looks like ‘The Problem Child’ isn’t too happy with his big bro’s friendship with the British rapper… At least, that’s what some fans think. On March 2, Jake published a tweet that has many fans worried he could be throwing shade at Logan for his relationship with KSI. “Get rid of anyone that plays both sides, no matter how much they mean to you,” Jake wrote. “Loyalty to everyone is loyalty to no one.” Of course, it’s not been made clear if that’s actually what Jake is talking about. He and Logan recently appeared on an episode of BS w/ Jake Paul, where Logan openly supported his little bro amid his first boxing loss. He also took the opportunity to trash talk Tommy Fury and his team during their bout on February 26, earning him some backlash from UFC star Nate Diaz in the process. For now, neither Jake nor Logan have referenced any sort of enmity between them, so his latest tweet could be about anything or anyone — but that hasn’t stopped fans from wondering if there isn’t a family feud brewing.

Fans think Nessa Barrett is shading Josh Richards and Oliva Ponton – Dexerto
Fans think Nessa Barrett is shading Josh Richards and Oliva Ponton Instagram: Nessa BarrettPopular TikTokker Nessa Barrett has hit out at “selfish” and “shallow” influencers in a series of subtweets on Wednesday, September 9. Nessa gained some notoriety for her original song “Pain” — although some critics accused her of copying the music video of singer Madison Beer’s own song, “Selfish.” Nessa’s since-deleted Twitter rant was quickly screengrabbed and shared by drama accounts on Instagram, leading many fans to speculate who she could have been talking about. Nessa wrote: “If you post a picture of your body after every time you work out as a flex and a way to ‘show off’ literally nothing please stop. I literally cringe so hard. No one cares if you’ve worked out for 100 days. Not even your 10-year-old fans lol that sh**’s weird. “So many influencers go live or post just to brag and show off how rich they are while begging for I’m very riches and giving no attention to their supporters who got them to that point. It’s so sad to see how selfish and shallow people are. I’ve lost all faith in humanity” She then apologized for her past, adding: “I’m so sorry for being a bad example in the past”, and followed with “I’ve matured so much these last 3 months please tell me you see growth.” https://www.instagram.com/p/CE9JgMBH2aG/ This could have been referring to when Nessa herself came under fire for a controversial video where she danced to the audio of the Quran being read aloud in early April. Some Instagram users believe the first tweets were referring to ex-boyfriend Josh Richards, with one commenting “She literally just described her boyfriend,” another user implied she was talking about a member of the hype house: “Olivia Ponton is typing…” This comes after last week Nessa begged paparazzi to leave her alone following a video posted by The Hollywood Fix showing the TikTok star “breaking down crying” during a dinner with fellow influencer Josh Richards.

Over the last year or so, Addison Rae has taken time away from her TikTok channel to focus on other aspects of her career, namely music and acting. She’s set to appear beside A-list celebs like Ryan Reynolds, Jason Momoa, and Aubrey Plaza in Animal Friends soon, but it appears that’s not all she has up her sleeve. A countdown has appeared on her website, and Addison has revealed that she’s releasing new music. Is Addison Rae releasing new music? Fans think Chase Hudson called out Charli D’Amelio in his new song – Dexerto
Fans think Chase Hudson called out Charli D’Amelio in his new song Instagram: huddy / charlidamelioSome fans believe that Chase Hudson a.k.a. Lil Huddy called out ex-girlfriend Charli D’Amelio in a teaser for his new song, following Charli revealing her new partner, Landon Barker. Charli D’Amelio is one of the most popular influencers on TikTok, with over 144 million followers on the platform. In June, it was revealed that Charli was in the early stages of a relationship with Travis Barker’s son, Landon Barker, and although the pair kept things pretty private at first, over the last few weeks they have started sharing more snaps together, and even a picture of them kissing. Landon had previously been friends with Chase Hudson, Charli’s ex-boyfriend, but after her new relationship emerged, Chase reportedly unfollowed Landon. Now, fans think that Chase called out Charli in the teaser for a new song that he released in a TikTok video, set for release on July 29. “You’re a showstopper, a bad liar, homie hopper, drama starter,” he said in the song. Many listeners thought that the phrase “homie hopper” in particular indicated the song is about Charli, given her new relationship with Chase’s former friend. “‘Homie hopper’ hmm I wonder who he’s talking about,” read one comment with over 35,000 likes. “He did not hold back,” said another with over 9000. Some shared their support for Chase in the situation, while others were quick to defend Charli for moving on. Chase and Charli broke up in early 2020, when Chase wrote on his Instagram story: “Charli is such an amazing person, and I am so beyond grateful and blessed to have spent the time I spent with her. We will always be friends and she will always hold a special place in my heart for the rest of my life,” he said. Fans are eagerly waiting for the full release of Chase’s new song to see whether it really is about Charli and Landon.

Fans suspect Behzinga and Faith of fabricating drama ahead of Christmas song release – Dexerto
Fans suspect Behzinga and Faith of fabricating drama ahead of Christmas song release SidemenFans of the Sidemen have suspected members of the YouTube group of fabricating drama after a clip of Faith saying she wanted “speculation” around the new music video. Faith Kelly, the long-term girlfriend of Sidemen member Behzinga, posted a tearful TikTok in which she explained that Behzinga, whose real name is Ethan, had blocked her on social media. In the TikTok, Faith said: “He’s blocked me on Instagram because I found him and Lauren Alexis together. It’s just a whole thing right now, I’m not sure what’s going on.” Lauren Alexis is a successful OnlyFans model, so it makes sense that Faith would be upset if she found her boyfriend with her. The Sidemen launch new Christmas song amid drama However, fans thought something was amiss after clips of Faith discussing the launch of the new Christmas song surfaced, in which she said that she wanted some drama surrounding the music video for its release. In another clip, Faith is heard saying: “I want drama, I want online speculation, I want people talking” about the new song, and to make things more confusing, Behzinga, Lauren and Faith are all collaborating in the music video together, which is planned to launch later today. This isn’t the first time the Sidemen have released a Christmas song. Last year, the YouTube group put out Christmas Drillings, which has since amassed over 13 million views. Fans swarm Kai Cenat & IShowSpeed after address leaks on stream – Dexerto
Fans swarm Kai Cenat & IShowSpeed after address leaks on stream Twitter: kaimafiaupdatesKai Cenat and IShowSpeed were swarmed by fans after Speed accidentally leaked their address right before they started streaming. Kai Cenat and IShowSpeed joined forces in May 2023 after being signed by Rumble to host their very own live-streamed show called ‘The Kai ‘N Speed Show.’ The show is scheduled to broadcast three times a month and has proven wildly successful so far, with the duo hitting a 133,000 viewership peak in just their very first stream on the platform. However, their broadcasts haven’t always gone off without a hitch. Their first Rumble stream encountered some major technical difficulties before getting off the ground… but their latest show had a problem of a different sort. IShowSpeed accidentally leaks address before stream with Kai Cenat In late June, the two streamers got together to pull off another episode of the Kai ‘N Speed show — but it looks like Speed accidentally leaked their address before they could even go live. In a humorous short clip, Kai jokingly called out his streaming partner for making their address public as a slew of fans gathered on the street outside the house. “Speed is a f*ckin’ d*ckhead,” Kai said, showing the fans gathered outside. “He leaked the f*ckin’ address, and look how much people [are waiting] outside! How you f*ckin’ leak the addy, though?” “I ain’t mean to,” a chastened Speed replied. However, it looks like the streamers were able to turn the tides in their favor in the end. Despite having their address leaked, the duo were able to have a little meet and greet with the fans outside, running alongside them on the street in a joyful video. Of course, this isn’t the first time that Speed has accidentally leaked some private information during a stream. In early May, he apologized to KSI after leaking his phone number again, after previously leaking the British YouTuber’s number on Instagram in 2022.

Fans start petition urging Twitch to ban gambling streams amid controversy – Dexerto
Fans start petition urging Twitch to ban gambling streams amid controversy Twitch/ UnsplashA petition has appeared online calling on Twitch to ban “unregulated” gambling streams from the platform. Addressed to the website’s advertisers, the petition claims numerous creators are promoting content that damages “young viewers and racial minorities.” Gambling streams have always been a controversial topic on Twitch. Although various streamers, such as Trainwrecks and Adin Ross, have donated their huge winnings to good causes, others have hit back at the practice and any creators who promote gambling in their streams. The dispute heated up once again when Twitch star xQc revealed that he had accepted a gambling sponsorship deal a year after having stopped due to an ever-increasing addiction. As the argument continues to rage in the streaming community, fans have penned a petition calling on Twitch’s advertisers to force the platform to act. Petition calls on Twitch to ban gambling streams The petition by Erin Jordan first appeared on Change.org on May 20 calling on Twitch’s advertisers to encourage the Amazon-owned platform to ban gambling streams. Just some of the big-name businesses included in the list are Pepsi, McDonald’s, and Uber. The petition claims: “Your advertisements on Twitch are being played next to Twitch broadcasters who promote unregulated online casinos that disproportionately damage young viewers and racial minorities.” As a result, they are “attaching [their] brand to these unregulated crypto casinos” which could have a crippling effect on influential viewers. According to the petition, the promotion of gambling streams can spark a chain reaction that can have devastating consequences. For instance, “6 to 9 percent of young people and young adults experience problems related to gambling” and “1 in 5 individuals with a gambling addiction attempt suicide.” Urging the advertisers ‘use their influence’ against Twitch, it calls for “an end to unregulated casino livestreams to help protect the vulnerable.” With a few hundred signatures as of writing, the petition has gained some traction. But, it is not yet clear whether Twitch or its advertisers will respond to the document any time soon.
