  • Dream deletes face reveal and puts mask back on due to “hate” – Dexerto

Dream deletes face reveal and puts mask back on due to “hate” YouTube: DreamMinecraft star Dream has deleted his face reveal video and is going back to being a faceless content creator due to the “hate” he received after taking off his mask. Dream has been one of Minecraft’s most prominent creators for years — even more so after he took off his famous mask in 2022. Up until then, Dream refused to show his face online and relied on fan-made avatars and a mask to represent himself. However, in October 2022, the YouTube star decided to do a face reveal and took off the mask in a video that took social media by storm. But just as there were a horde of die-hard fans and fellow creators who celebrated Dream’s long-awaited reveal, there were just as many trolls and critics who made it their mission to make fun of Dream’s appearance. In an exclusive interview with Dexerto, Dream claimed that he looked forward to his face reveal and loves being a public figure… but now, he’s walking it all back. Dream deletes all photos of himself after face reveal backlash On June 9, Dream uploaded a YouTube video titled ‘bye, from Dream,’ where he said he’d be deleting his famous face reveal and will be going back to wearing a mask. “I deleted my face reveal, and this is why,” he explained in the video’s caption. “After face revealing and removing my mask, I regretted the attention and hate, and am walking it back.” That’s not all; he’ll also be deleting all photos of his face from social media so that he can go back to his pre-face reveal identity. “I will slowly be deleting all pictures of me online, and going back to just being a gamer in a mask. Starting with my Mr Beast Video, and my Face Reveal video, ‘Hi, I’m Dream.’ I will be walking it back. I will be getting rid of everything other than my new mask.” “The same company that made the Spider-Man mask, Batman mask, and many other superheroes, made me a mask so that I can be Dream all of the time. Hide my identity, even in public, at McDonalds, or any place I need to go.” “Thank you all from the bottom of my heart to those that supported me, even though I am ugly. I appreciate you all more than you could ever know, and I will be working on my face while I’m masked again.” Right now, it’s not certain if he’s totally serious about it, or if this change will last… especially as Dream is set to headline VidCon Anaheim later this month.

  • Dream mocks his own face reveal video with clever Halloween costume – Dexerto

Dream mocks his own face reveal video with clever Halloween costume Twitter: DreamContent creator Dream poked fun at the online hate he received after his face reveal video by making his Halloween costume all about the reveal and the backlash. At the beginning of October, Minecraft streamer Dream finally revealed his face to his audience. Previously, the content creator had remained anonymous but after years of teasing a face reveal, Clay finally removed his mask and showed the world what he looked like. And while many of his fellow content creators were quick to offer support for the reveal, other social media users – as well as his legion of fans – began flooding Twitter and other online platforms with memes and negative comments about his looks. At the time of the reveal, one of the top trends on Twitter following his face reveal was “He’s Ugly.” As a way to silence the naysayers and also address the harsh commentary online, Dream’s Halloween costume – while simple – is an effective nod to the moment. Dream posted an image on Twitter of himself and two friends all wearing match tops. Dream dresses as his face reveal for Halloween The tops in question are all sporting Dream’s face from his reveal video. As well as the image, Dream’s costume also had the words, “I don’t need a Halloween costume, my face reveal was scary enough” on the top. Since the reveal, Dream has been much more open to public appearances and has even begun making more content without his mask. Dream’s first content post-reveal was a collaboration with Technoblade’s father, the aim of the video was to help raise awareness and money for cancer research.

That’s not all; MrBeast hopes to taste test the “Dream Burger” on Instagram Live with Minecraft Tuber Karl Jacobs, making for a truly star-studded mukbang that no one saw coming. As seen with YouTube boxing, it seems that MrBeast is traversing the unknown field of YouTube restaurant-ownership; and he’s not afraid to include other big names in the industry with him, in the process.

  • Dream hits back over criticism of his political views from childhood – Dexerto

Dream hits back over criticism of his political views from childhood Instagram: dreamwastakenTwitch streamer Dream clapped back at a Twitter user after he was called a “closeted republican” based on things he said during his teenage years. Andrew Tate has taken over the news with his wild takes, and debates with various Twitch streamers like Adin Ross and xQc. On July 21, Tate was talking to Fortnite Pro’s Clix and Bucke on stream when Hasan joined. Mere minutes later, Tate requested that Hasan be removed from the stream — prompting the political streamer to call Andrew Tate a “baby.” Dream jokingly replied to one of Hasan’s tweets about the encounter, but was forced to clap back at another user calling him a “closeted Republican.” Dream claps back at Twitter user On the evening of July 21, Hasan tweeted: “no wonder Andrew Tate had to quit kickboxing, my man’s frame shattered after I asked 2 questions about his business lmao.” Dream jokingly responded with a tweet mocking Tate: “Maybe women are just so incredibly attracted to his top g energy that they wreck every time they’re in the car with him. You falling off tbh. Btw, here’s my twitch prime affiliate link subscribe for more top g energy if you’re not a beta male LMFAO.” Minutes later, a Twitter user replied to Dream and claimed that because he’s a “closeted Republican,” he probably likes Andrew Tate. Dream quickly clapped back to the user with a sarcastic response: “you’re right. All the anti-gay, anti-abortion, anti-trans, anti-women, anti-everything that I and my community spew every day proves it. “Oh wait, you’re saying that because of doxed Reddit posts from when I was 15 and couldn’t even vote, not every public word I have spoken since.” He added: “Sick of this idiotic take, let people change their views from when they were a kid, or f*ck off and stand by everything you’ve ever said in your entire life. Get rid of your hate b*ner and think logically for once in your life” Fans quickly began replying in support of Dream, saying that it’s “weird” how people judge someone on what they did or said 6-7 years ago. • Dream hits out at “hateful” backlash after misinterpreted sarcastic tweets – Dexerto

Dream hits out at “hateful” backlash after misinterpreted sarcastic tweets YouTube: DreamMinecraft YouTube star Dream has once again blasted his fans after complaints about how he uses tone in his tweets that lead to misunderstandings. Dream is undoubtedly one of the biggest stars in the new era of YouTube. Particularly, the Minecrafter is known for being the founder of the popular Dream SMP server – and he’s amassed an impressive army of over 28M subscribers to date. However, his dedicated fandom has proved to cause issues – with him having to step in and fire back at his own community he’s grown. Now, with his fans complaining about his tweets, he’s once again had to put them on blast. On March 23, the Minecraft YouTube king hit out at his followers for misinterpreting his sarcastic tweets as being serious and using them against him. “If I see one more person taking something sarcastic that I say in a serious way and using it as an attack on my character, I might just sign up to be sent to Mars because this planet has no hope,” he wrote. However, fans hit back at Dream for not making the tone of his tweets clear enough which leads to misunderstandings in the first place. But, the Minecraft star continued by blasting his community for calling him out when he does make the tone clear. “Tone tags are great and I should use them more,” Dream agreed. “But, the amount of times I get attacked for using them ‘he literally just put /s to make his a**holeness sound like a joke.’ People that don’t like me will take it as seriously regardless and the other way around.” https://twitter.com/dreamwastaken/status/1506749970522718209 Dream added: “It goes both ways. If I’m being an a**hole, sometimes my fans will defend me and give me the benefit of doubt. “If I’m being sarcastic or making a joke, people that dislike me will assume I’m being an a**hole and slaughter me. Goes both ways, one has hateful intent though.” As of now, the YouTube sensation continues to grow with no signs of slowing down. Hopefully, small misunderstandings like these become less regular.

  • Dream hits back at hate over “influencing” Minecraft’s new mob vote – Dexerto

Dream hits back at hate over “influencing” Minecraft’s new mob vote YouTube: DreamAfter “jokingly influencing” last year’s Minecraft mob vote, Dream has confirmed he won’t be advocating for any monster in the upcoming poll. With over 26 million subscribers on YouTube and nearly 2 million followers on Twitter, Dream is one of Minecraft’s biggest creators. Despite this, he’s incredibly polarizing, with a loyal group of fans on one side, and an anti-Dream movement of haters on the other. While there’s always ongoing drama between both sides, the most recent cause of contention has been the upcoming Minecraft mob vote that allows players to decide which monster is added into the game next. After “jokingly influencing” last year’s poll, Dream has been receiving a lot of hate from Minecraft players, asking him to leave the decision to the community and not get involved. Dream explains why he’s not voting in Minecraft mob poll On October 16, the Minecraft community will vote for a new mob to be added to the game, with the options being the Glare, the Allay, and the Copper Golem. While this will be a difficult decision for some players, Dream has taken to Twitter to reveal that he will not be partaking or “influencing” the vote like he did last year. Instead, he wants to leave it to the community, and responding to the hate, he expressed that he could understand why him swaying the vote would upset some members of the player base. “As much as it is funny to joke about people getting deathly mad at a block game, I won’t be advocating for any mob as I understand why some people would be upset with me jokingly influencing the vote last year”. as much as it is funny to joke about people getting deathly mad at a block game, I won’t be advocating for any mob as I understand why some people would be upset with me jokingly influencing the vote last year. It’s a community thing and I’ll leave it up to the community 🙂 https://t.co/Hw0dCw4nu6 — dream (@dreamwastaken) October 14, 2021 Before ending the announcement there, Dream couldn’t help making a jokey statement in the thread, claiming that he’s “still going to rig it”. Although this comment did receive a lot of hate, Dream did confirm it was a joke by ending the tweet with a “/j”. Given the number of followers Dream has, it makes sense that he’s opted to stay out of this year’s vote. By letting the Minecraft community decide, there’s no chance of him being accused of influencing the outcome. If you’re looking to cast your vote for the latest new mob, make sure to tune into Minecraft live on October 16!

  • Dream hits back at fans who are claiming his new merchandise is “too plain” – Dexerto

Dream hits back at fans who are claiming his new merchandise is “too plain” Instagram: dreamwastakenYouTube star Dream is all about keeping things simple. His logo is the epitome of that: just a plainly drawn smile. However, this hasn’t stopped some fans complaining his merch is too “plain;” something he hasn’t taken laying down. Dream’s merch has been a massive hit with fans. After all, with tens of millions of YouTube subscribers, there was certainly the clientele for this. However, that hasn’t stopped some fans for wishing there was a little bit more. Most of the designs are just simple renditions of his smiley logo on white, black, and fluro green backgrounds. Dream doesn’t believe it needs to be any more complex though, responding to those complaints from fans in a pretty hilarious Twitter thread. “People be like ‘Dream’s merch is just a smiley face it’s boring.’ This you,” he said, taking a jab at hypebeasts who wear exclusively Nike, Supreme, and Adidas. However, the YouTuber also pointed out the serious business side of things. The simplistic design may be easy to recreate, but there’s an entire business model behind it to make sure Dream fans get the best quality merch possible. Read More: Why is #DREAM19MIL trending on Twitter? – “‘I could draw it in paint.’ Could you also have a facility ship tens of thousands of orders, have a website, hire and maintain tens of people with good conditions, get all the high quality printing equipment, customer support, etc?” “Draw it in paint then,” he added. https://twitter.com/dreamwastaken/status/1367337939206868996 The irony of that wasn’t lost on Dream either. “This is extra funny because the smile was literally drawn in paint and that’s the point,” he concluded. Regardless of the design, Dream’s merch will always sell like hotcakes. However, if fans are looking for a little bit more, they have to be mindful that’s not in the YouTuber’s interests. After all, as he put it, “a lot of people’s favorite stuff to wear is simple.” It doesn’t need to be anything more.

  • Dream hits back after Andrea Botez claims his Minecraft SMP server is “overrated” – Dexerto

Dream hits back after Andrea Botez claims his Minecraft SMP server is “overrated” After Andrea Botez claimed that Dream’s Minecraft SMP server is “overrated”, he hit right back – suggesting she’s just upset she wasn’t invited to play. Dream’s Minecraft SMP server has been a hot topic over the last two years, as creators boomed in popularity when mixing an intriguing storyline with a group of friends just having fun. The survival multiplayer server not only helped Dream amass over 14 million subscribers in 2021, but put a spotlight on others like TommyInnit, GeorgeNotFound and many more. Now, Botez twin and chess grandmaster Andrea Botez has claimed the SMP is overrated, prompting Dream to respond. On January 26, the chess streamer and grandmaster Andrea Botez hit out at the popular SMP server on Twitter. Simply saying the server is overrated, caused quite the stir. “You’re just mad you were never invited,” Dream retorted. However, Andrea disputed this – she was invited and reminded Dream of the time she leaked the server’s IP. “Actually I was. Remember that time I accidentally leaked the IP address?” Actually I was remember that time I accidentally leaked the IP address 🥰🥳 — Andrea Botez (@itsandreabotez) January 27, 2022 In another reply, Dream added that Alexandrea Botez is the better sister of the twins. “Alex is the better Botez sister.” Dream’s SMP has undoubtedly changed the landscape for Minecraft content, and some could even claim entertainment as a whole. At the server’s peak, many members would have a remarkable 300,000+ average viewers on Twitch.

  • Dream hits back after winning The Game Awards Content Creator award – Dexerto

Dream hits back after winning The Game Awards Content Creator award The Game Awards / YouTube: Anthony PadillaAfter winning The Game Awards 2021 Content Creator of the Year award, Dream hit back at haters claiming he doesn’t deserve it, telling them to “stay mad” before celebrating the nod. The Game Awards, recognizing high-achievers in the gaming and esports industries including content creation, are done for 2021. Naturally, that means there is an award for Content Creator of the Year. Previous winners include Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins, Michael ‘Shroud’ Grzesiek, and Rachell ‘Valkyrae’ Hofstetter. This time though, it was Dream who took home the prize. His fans were thrilled about it, claiming it was well-deserved, and they were proud of what he had achieved. However, haters rained on their parade, prompting Dream to hit back with some comments of his own. Congrats @Dream on winning Content Creator of The Year! #TheGameAwards pic.twitter.com/EypsCGTDVt — Dexerto (@Dexerto) December 10, 2021 “Everyone that’s mad that I won can stay mad!” said Dream. “There’s so many people that were deserving of recognition for the amazing things they’ve done this year, including the other nominees and tons of others that weren’t nominated. I still hope they get as much appreciation as possible.” Dream admitted that Ludwig would have been his pick for the award. However, after acknowledging that different opinions are inevitable, he called out his haters: “I won, so absolutely positively suck my ass.” imo @LudwigAhgren would be my pick, but EVERYONE has different opinions, and I won, so absolutely positively suck my ass. — dream (@dreamwastaken) December 10, 2021 It’s not the first award Dream has won since bursting onto the scene. In 2020, he won the Streamy Award for Gaming. However, given the sheer popularity of The Game Awards, it’s arguably more prestigious. Dream’s empire has grown to 27.5 million subscribers on his main YouTube channel and 5.7 million followers on Twitch, and there are no signs that his meteoric rise to success will slow down anytime soon.

  • Dream gets roasted for acoustic singing amid autotune accusations – Dexerto

Dream gets roasted for acoustic singing amid autotune accusations TikTok: dreamwastakenwastakenMinecraft star Dream is getting dragged online for showing off his singing skills amid accusations that the YouTuber relies heavily on autotune for his songs. Dream is a super-popular YouTuber and streamer in the Minecraft community, racking up over 31 million YouTube subscribers and 6.4 million Twitch followers. Although Dream rose to fame thanks to his gaming content, he has also branched out into the music biz, releasing a handful of original songs and even an EP over the years. Now, he’s going on tour across the United States alongside other creators like GeorgeNotFound to perform these songs for a live audience… and it doesn’t look like listeners are very impressed. Dream dragged over acoustic singing amid autotune claims About a week before his first live performance, Dream uploaded a short video of himself singing without any backtrack or instruments on TikTok. The song Dream chose was his own track, ‘Spotlight.’ He prefaced the clip by saying he was comparing his ‘no autotune’ natural voice to the ‘autotune’ possibly used in his songs — or at least, the accusations that are going around online. It’s a popular theory that Dream needs autotune in his songs to sound passable, and it looks like Dream’s TikTok clip was in response to these claims. Unfortunately, viewers didn’t take well to Dream’s singing, despite the creator saying “this is my first time singing on TikTok, be nice.” (Or maybe it was him kissing the camera at the very end, who knows.) “You said you would keep the mask ON! Not off.” one user wrote. “I’m crying in a bad way,” another said. “Why did I physically start crying? I feel violated bro,” yet another commented. It’s clear that Dream’s singing didn’t go over well in this clip, which is taking social media by storm even a couple weeks after being posted… but this is far from the first time his musical talents have caught flak from fans. The YouTuber got roasted after a clip from one of his concerts went viral on Twitter/X as users absolutely wrecked him over his and GeorgeNotFound’s “awful” performance.

  • Dream gives his final response to Minecraft speedrun cheating drama – Dexerto

Dream gives his final response to Minecraft speedrun cheating drama dreambranding.comThe Minecraft community has been in an uproar since YouTuber ‘Dream’ was accused of cheating during his 1.16 speedrun. Now, the YouTuber has voiced his final thoughts on the allegations and their impact on his channel moving forward. On December 11, 2020 the Minecraft speedrunning mod team released a YouTube video accusing popular content creator Dream of cheating. The video described how after reviewing Dream’s 1.16 submission, several events in the speedrun appeared to be statistically impossible. The content creator hit back at the accusations on social media, and later released his own video rebuttal that explained how the allegations were incorrect. The YouTuber even hired an astrophysicist from consulting company Photoexcitation to help disprove the mod team’s claims. The Minecraft community quickly took sides, with Dream’s supporters, critics, and even other Minecraft creators weighing in on the drama in their own posts and videos. After a month of constant debate, Dream reached out via Twitter to offer his final thoughts on the situation. In the first of two Twitter threads, Dream began by discussing some of the statistical disagreements between the mod team and the astrophysicist he hired. After going over the most recent arguments from each side, he switched gears to his closing thoughts on the matter. Read More: Tetris legend Jonas Neubauer passes away – “I don’t want to argue anymore about whether I cheated or not, because there’s not much I can say,” he started off. “I’m sure most people have formed their opinion at this point,” Dream went on, referencing how the community seems to have largely made up their minds on the drama. The YouTuber also confirmed that he intends to stay active in Minecraft speedrunning, saying “I still love the community and want to help in any way I can.” The creator voiced his support for both his fellow speedrunners and the mod team, despite the allegations made against him. Anyway, I’m sure this drama has been stressful for most of the Minecraft community, and a lot of that was probably due to my original response to the drama, so I take full responsibility for that. I pride myself on representing the Minecraft youtube community well, and I didn’t. — dream (@dreamwastaken) January 9, 2021 In his final tweets regarding the drama, Dream acknowledged how much the events had affected the Minecraft community as a whole. The YouTuber also admitted that his response to the initial allegations added to the tense situation, and said he “take[s] full responsibility for that.” Dream wrapped up his thoughts with one final statement: “This will be my final tweets regarding it I believe, so I just want to say that I love you guys and I’m looking forward to everything in the future :)” and it appears the creator intends to put the matter behind him moving forward. While the YouTuber is trying to move past the cheating allegations – and continues to maintain he did not alter his 1.16 run in any unacceptable ways – it remains to be seen how this might affect his future speedrun submissions and the position he holds in the Minecraft community.

  • Dream gains over a million YouTube subs without posting amid cheating drama – Dexerto

Dream gains over a million YouTube subs without posting amid cheating drama DreamMinecraft YouTuber Dream has enjoyed a big boost in subscribers in the past month – but it’s not because of any new content on his channel. Instead, his popularity and involvement in drama is behind the extra million subscribers. The YouTuber and streamer hasn’t posted a video since mid-April, which was his “Minecraft Speedrunner VS 5 Hunters” alongside GeorgeNotFound, Sapnap, BadBoyHalo, awesamdude, and antfrost. Although that video was a big hit (reaching over 41 million views and 3.1 million likes), he hasn’t posted anything since. Even on his second channel, the last video was simply the unedited version of the same video. But, despite taking a month-long break from the platform, Dream is still one of the fastest-growing creators on YouTube. Since his last upload, just over a month ago, his channel has seen an increase of over 1.4 million subscribers, per SocialBlade. Most YouTubers would take years of consistent uploads and still never even reach a million subscribers, but Dream’s backlog of content, as well as lots of drama, has kept his channel growing throughout his break. In May, he admitted to the cheating accusations that had been swirling around his Minecraft speedruns. Despite some backlash, Dream has come out of the drama pretty unscathed. He hit back at people trying to cancel him, explaining that he hadn’t deliberately cheated: “Even if you want to believe I intentionally cheated, which I didn’t, don’t try and discredit my accomplishments.” And many other creators came out and backed him, including Twitch streamer Asmongold. Dream’s total sub count is even more impressive considering he only started uploading videos to his main channel in 2019. By the end of 2020 he was already one of the biggest names, not only in Minecraft but across YouTube generally. And in 2021, he’s showing no signs of slowing down.

  • Dream frustrated as social media accuses him of grooming again: “I can’t defend myself” – Dexerto

Dream frustrated as social media accuses him of grooming again: “I can’t defend myself” Instagram: dreamwastakenDream has taken to Twitter to defend himself against a tirade of grooming allegations after being “harassed for almost a year due to a false accusation”. Popular content creator, streamer, and occasional musician, ‘Dream’, best known for his Minecraft work, was accused of grooming a minor back in 2022 when a Twitter user claimed the creator flirted with her using a burner account when she was 17. While these allegations were never proven, that hasn’t stopped internet users from dragging Dream ever since. In an attempt to clear things up, he released a 42-minute response addressing the allegations. However, users have since taken a clip from the video out of context in order to propagate claims he had confessed. Now, Dream has seemingly had enough, defending himself in a series of Twitter posts. “I talked on stream about how I’m going to make a detailed video, with logs, screenshots, and evidence, and gave some bullet points, and it got completely clipped out of context and spread somehow as the lie that I ‘admitted everything’,” Dream said. “If I’m so terrible why do you have to misquote me, lie, exaggerate, and slander? If I’m all these things you say I am, why is it so hard to be truthful?” he continued. Expressing his frustration over the situation, Dream claimed he had been “harassed for almost a year” due to the allegations, which were made shortly after his face reveal. He said, “This one false accusation turned into ‘Dream talked to kids, there’s tons of accusations, Dream never denied it, Dream was exposed fiddling kids’, and so much worse. All due to past parasocialness (that, yes, I can be to blame for).” Stating that the spread of misinformation was “harmful to real victims”, Dream asked those convinced of his wrongdoings not to “devalue” what grooming was just to ensure he “fit the definition”. “This isn’t drama, this is serious stuff, with serious implications,” he said. “Can say in so many words, I’m not a pedo, I haven’t groomed anyone, and my heart goes out to any victims that have to have their real stories [and] trauma thrown in their face for internet points.” Be sure to check out all the latest entertainment news on our page here.

  • Dream fans go viral after proposing at Minecraft YouTuber’s first concert – Dexerto

Dream fans go viral after proposing at Minecraft YouTuber’s first concert Twitter: @theseuss_ship / YouTube: DnF clipsTwo Dream fans have gone viral after recording their proposal midway through the Minecraft content creator’s first live concert. While Dream is best known for his Minecraft content, the social media celeb has been dipping his toes in the music industry here and there over the past few years. Now, he’s officially on tour across the United States. Traveling from state to state throughout September, Dream just kicked things off with his very first show, what fans are calling the ‘Droncert.’ While it may not have lived up to expectations for many avid viewers, one particular moment has now gained traction online. Two evidently diehard fans of the content creator shared a special moment part-way through the show. With one half getting down on one knee, they proposed to their partner during Dream’s performance and have since gone viral online. “Here’s the video of the proposal at the droncert from my POV,” one of them shared online. Explaining that “Dream is what brought us together,” they found this concert to be the perfect moment to propose. Hundreds of fellow Dream fans soon chimed in to congratulate the now-engaged pair, with hundreds of thousands more watching the moment online. Dream himself soon shared the video around on Twitter as well. “I’m crying,” they said in response to his acknowledgment. “Say concert proposal, no one bats an eye. Say Dream concert proposal and society calls me cringe,” the other half of the couple followed up online, reacting to some of the more critical reception. Dream’s budding music career has come into focus in 2023 thanks to the launch of his first full-fledged EP, ‘To Whoever Wants to Hear.’ Now on tour for the first time as well, it seems this is just the beginning of a new venture for the content creator are years of dabbling in the space. Though with many clearly lashing out at the allegedly “awful” first performance, we’ll have to see if reception improves over his next few shows.

  • Dream fires back at Adept’s claims xQc lost rare watch due to alleged substance abuse – Dexerto

Dream fires back at Adept’s claims xQc lost rare watch due to alleged substance abuse Instagram: adeptthebest / Instagram: dreamwastakenPopular content creator Dream has come to the aid of xQc amid his latest spat with former partner Adept, hitting back at the notion a valuable watch was misplaced due to alleged substance abuse at a party. The falling out of Adept and xQc has happened in the public eye. From disputes over the ownership of a $300,000 McLaren to claims of assault and “millions of dollars” in requested hush money, fans have been privy to almost every step of their split. While some cases have been closed due to a lack of evidence, others are still ongoing, though Adept recently appeared on Twitch to further divulge private information. Resulting in a rapid ban from the platform, she was soon struck offline, though not before sharing supposed details of one particular party from earlier this year. Allegedly linking up with Dream at an event hosted by Lil Nas X, Adept claimed xQc took “illicit, unprescribed drugs.” By her account, it was this activity that then made him “paranoid” about losing a particularly valuable watch. The watch in question just so happened to go missing, though Dream has now spoken up about the incident, coming to xQc’s defense. “Paranoid about losing his watch,” Dream repeated, questioning the integrity of the statement. “We watched him put his watch back in his bag and then he didn’t have it the next morning,” he fired back. “We didn’t steal it.” Furthermore, Dream also looked to shut down any notion of substance abuse on xQc’s part. “He was just drunk as hell,” he explained. “Where do the drugs come in? Put me on the stand coach.” Adept is yet to reemerge online since her sudden Twitch ban on October 4. xQc is also yet to address this particular matter. For now, it’s simply Dream’s word against hers in the court of public opinion. The exact value of the watch in question and its current whereabouts remain unclear to this day – though it seemingly wasn’t long before xQc replaced it with another six-figure investment, flashing his purchase of a watch in Audemars Piguet’s Royal Oak range back in July. Watches in that particular line can sell for up to $456,255.00 USD.

  • Dream roasts Frank Ocean’s bizarre Met Gala appearance with robot baby – Dexerto

Dream roasts Frank Ocean’s bizarre Met Gala appearance with robot baby Dream Instagram / via VoguePopular Minecraft YouTuber ‘Dream’ poked fun at artist Frank Ocean’s fit at the 2021 Met Gala red carpet, which included a simple suede suit and… a robot baby. Dream is one of the leading content creators for all things Minecraft, and is one of the biggest faceless YouTubers on the platform. The mask he uses is as iconic to his audience as the bright green hoodie he wears. Aside from his own getup, another place to find strange outfits would be the annual Met Gala, where celebrities, artists, and influencers come dressed in astounding pieces from the world’s greatest designers. Frank Ocean was one of those guests, and came to the red carpet wearing a Prada suit while carrying ‘Movie Magic,’ the green baby hardwired to move, on his arm. https://twitter.com/Dream/status/1437752028172795905 The green lifeless baby was striking and quickly reminded people of the Minecraft YouTuber, who had his own things to say about Ocean’s appearance. “If anyone sees this man please let me know. He stole my baby from me,” Dream said in a tweet, with fans jokingly pointing out how the two share a similar smile. Other than the ‘Dreamcore’ hat the artist brought with him, in reference to Dreamworks studio, there was, of course, little connection between Dream and Ocean’s appearance at the Met. https://twitter.com/calampus23/status/1437766750100094978 it appears that many of u forgot dream had a kid last year pic.twitter.com/HVngwwoVmz — elle (@badgirIhaIo) September 14, 2021 Still though, fans jumped at the tweet. People reacted to both Ocean’s choice of accessories to the Met Ball, as well as Dream’s parental claim to the electronic child. There’s been a ton of fanfare out of the Met Gala red carpet, that included a strange comparison between Warzone’s infamous Roze skin and Kim Kardashian’s choice of outfit to the event. While the Met Ball had a ton of surprises in terms of celebrity appearances, the internet seemed to have plenty of memes at the ready for every statement piece.

  • Dream fans are obsessed with Minecraft YouTuber’s new “Mask” song – Dexerto

Dream fans are obsessed with Minecraft YouTuber’s new “Mask” song Dream / Pexels, anna-mFrom taking over YouTube with Minecraft content to dropping a debut single, Dream’s emotional “Mask” pop song has impressed non-fans while sending his stans into a joyous delirium. If you were wondering if the masked Dream has talents outside of Minecraft, or even if you were wondering what the mask itself was all about, you should now have some answers. The man behind the Dream Minecraft SMP server has released an introspective, catchy pop song called “Mask” and fans are delighted. The single, which couples alt-rock 2000s energy with radio-ready pop music, has already made waves. Within less than a day since its release, “Mask” has already surged into the top 10 of iTunes’ US chart and well past two million views on its YouTube lyrics video. And those lyrics are exactly why fans are so impressed with the track. For a YouTuber known best for creating roleplay content while wearing a mask, “Mask” is a stark contrast — as the tune’s lyrics explore struggles with mental health and the multi-layered meaning of a mask with a permanent smile. Referencing a perennially positive mask, Dream continues on to explain what purpose that covering serves: “But the fact is, I can never get off my mattress. And all that they can ask is, ‘why are you so sad, kid? Why are you so sad, kid?’ That’s what the mask is, that’s what the point of the mask is.” Without diving too deeply into what each of the lyrics means, it’s obvious that this is a track in which Dream reflects upon the contrast between his public-facing persona and his own mental state. And that’s precisely why fans have become so enchanted by the single. Little wip to celebrate @Dream on his new song #Mask I have no words,, the song is amazing and deep,, It’s been a while since I’ve really connected with a song so, can’t wait to see what you do in the future Dream!#Dream #Dreamwastaken #Dreamwastakenfanart #Fanart #Mask #wip pic.twitter.com/Va3DiWTgUU — ☆IT’S KAT☆ (@LustyLita) May 21, 2021 While the YouTuber’s supporters have gotten phrases like “Stream Mask” and “Thank You Dream” trending on Twitter, they’ve also taken to creating fan art attached with heartfelt reactions. https://twitter.com/ayariiku/status/1395593854946926595 Like LustyPieLita sharing fittingly mattress-based art and calling the song “amazing and deep,” artist ayariiku also thanked Dream for “sharing such a personal song with us.” As Dream opens up about his own insecurities and shows a new side of his content creation, fans are welcoming him with outstretched arms. Some have hoped this might a step in the direction of a face reveal, but most just appear glad that he’s even talking about the mask at all.

  • Dream fans demand Facetime with Danny Gonzalez amid face reveal campaign – Dexerto

Dream fans demand Facetime with Danny Gonzalez amid face reveal campaign Dream has been making his rounds, revealing his face to his friends and other content creators – but his fans are demanding he Facetime Danny Gonzalez, the YouTuber that acted as Dream during a face reveal April Fools joke in 2021. On September 23, 2022, Dream would post on his official Twitter account, “The mask is coming off… see you all very soon :).” This immediately filled his fan base with excitement as the Minecraft player has amassed tens of millions of followers without ever showing his face. On September 30, many of Dream’s closest friends would share videos on Twitter of them reacting to what the masked content creator looks like. They all followed a similar format where Dream would call them via Facetime, and they would react to his appearance without showing the viewer what he looks like. These Facetimes were with creators like Tommyinnit and Wilbur Soot, as well as with larger creators not affiliated with Minecraft content including Mark Rober and Addison Rae. But now, his fans are Twitter are demanding he Facetime Dream stand-in Danny Gonzalez. Dream fans want Danny Gonzalez face reveal reaction On April 1, 2021, Dream would go live on Twitch with his stream title simply being “Face Reveal”. In front of over 80k people, the streamer would remove a piece of paper taped to his face to reveal the face of commentary YouTuber Danny Gonzalez. Danny would tweet that he started “Dream” as a social experiment to become the biggest Minecraft YouTuber, and the real dream would respond to it on his alt account, “Just replying to confirm. Video soon.” However, this was just an elaborate April Fools joke played on Dream’s viewers. Now that Dream’s real face reveal is seemingly going to happen soon, fans want to see another collab with Danny Gonzalez. And after thousands of tweets, ‘Danny Gonzalez’ began trending on Twitter. Numerous fans wanted Dream to include Danny in his Facetime campaign as an homage to their April Fools joke, while others wanted it to happen to prove that they actually weren’t the same person. At the time of reporting, Dream Facetime videos are still trickling onto the internet, so it isn’t too late for a Dream/Danny face reveal video, but fans are expecting the official face reveal to take place any moment now.

  • Dream face reveal: Largest Minecraft content creator finally reveals face to millions – Dexerto

Dream face reveal: Largest Minecraft content creator finally reveals face to millions YouTube: DreamDespite his massive following online, Minecraft YouTuber Dream has continued to keep his face a mystery, never revealing what he looks like – outside of some small teases. That is, until now. At long last, Dream finally lifted the mask on October 2. Dream certainly isn’t the only big-name content creator to have kept their face under wraps for quite some time. Other names like Corpse Husband and Anomaly also keep it covered – although the latter accidentally slipped up on stream. But, for the longest time, Dream had managed to keep his face a complete secret – although there have been lots of hints and teasers over the years, some of which he put out there himself, and others, not so much. Dream said back in June 2021 that he will eventually do a face reveal, but that he plans to “take full advantage of it.” And he’s done just that by building hype over a number of weeks, revealing his face to fellow content creators one by one, before sharing with fans around the world on October 2. Contents Dream’s face reveal finally happens – When was Dream’s face reveal? – Dream Facetimes friends – Dream’s history of ‘reveal’ teasers – Dream’s face reveal finally happens After years of working around the clock to keep his face hidden from the spotlight, Dream finally revealed the human behind the mask on October 2. Dream, real name Clay, lifted the iconic mask to share his face with the world after generating plenty of hype online. “A lot of you are probably wondering why now?” he said to over 1.3 million viewers watching the premiere live. In short, his friend GeorgeNotFound was flying out to “meet for the first time.” Rather than having to hide away, Dream finally wanted to “start doing things” out in public. “Get out in the world, meet creators, be a person,” he joked. On the content side of things, that means fans can expect to see more “IRL content” from Dream and his friends as they meet up with other personalities. Though for now, he doesn’t “plan on adding a face cam” to his ongoing Minecraft videos. When was the Dream face reveal? On September 19, Dream posted on his YouTube community tab that his next upload would be him revealing his face. After much speculation, we finally got a date locked in. On October 2, at roughly 5PM PT, fans were able to get their first look at the famed Minecraft star after years of mystery and intrigue. Dream reveals face to close friend via FaceTime Late on September 30, some of Dream’s closest friends posted videos to Twitter where they would FaceTime Dream for a private face reveal. The Minecraft star apparently posted it before deleting it rapidly – knowing his dedicated fans would share it around instantly. This isn’t the first time he has sent fans into a frenzy with a simple hair reveal though. In August 2021, he also gave a glimpse of his locks in an Instagram post – using his smiley face mask to keep the rest concealed. These teasers have also caused problems though – such as when he had to dismiss claims about a supposed leak of his face reveal. A viral tweet claimed that Dream had “catfished” his audience – but Dream hit back, and said that this was an image of a random person, and that people were attacking them unjustly. Of course, an official face reveal has now put all of this to rest.

  • Dream explains why he finally apologized for Minecraft speedrun cheating controversy – Dexerto

Dream explains why he finally apologized for Minecraft speedrun cheating controversy DreamPopular Minecraft YouTuber Dream has further explained why he cheated in his speedruns and why he only decided to apologize now after months of denying claiming he had increased drop rates enabled. On May 30, Dream shocked the Minecraft community by finally admitting that he had cheated during speedruns. The decision to apologize came after multiple attempts to clear his name, including hiring an astrophysicist to exonerate him. However, ever since the astrophysicist’s report was rejected back at the very end of 2020, there was a lack of updates on Dream’s case until late May where he finally confessed and pleaded ignorance, claiming he didn’t realize he had the increased drop rate plugin enabled. Now, on May 31, Dream has dug more into why he apologized, stating that he’s a YouTuber and not “professional speedrunner” and that people don’t understand his content. The speedrun that was removed for being invalid from 7 months ago was on my Twitch, with donations off, I’m not even partnered on twitch, and was never uploaded anywhere on any of my channels. I didn’t make a dime or gain a single view or subscriber off of it. — dream (@dreamwastaken) May 31, 2021 “I speedrun against muffinboyhalo and co for fun and entertainment and have for over a year,” he wrote before adding that the speedruns didn’t earn him any monetary benefit. “The speedrun that was removed for being invalid from 7 months ago was on my Twitch, with donations off,” he added. “I’m not even partnered on Twitch, and was never uploaded anywhere on any of my channels. I didn’t make a dime or gain a single view or subscriber off of it.” He also touched on claims the faked speedrun was his “crowning achievement,” noting how he only ever said it was on his second Twitter account and that it was still the lowest placing run he ever submitted. That doesn’t change anything from the speedrun perspective, the speedrun community is a very strict one and that’s a super good thing. Just pointing out that it had absolutely nothing to do with my actual content or Youtube, and was just a for fun thing. — dream (@dreamwastaken) May 31, 2021 “Criticism is deserved if anybody makes mistakes, even if they are unintentional. No one is immune to criticism. I could have said nothing at all and continued on, but I chose to say something because I felt it was the right thing to do. I’m glad that I did,” he added, addressing why he chose to apologize. “I have always played for fun for 11 years and that’s why all of my videos are me and my friends goofing off playing Minecraft together. I’ll keep making the best content I can and I’ll keep growing as a person as I’ve always tried to do.” I have always played for fun for 11 years and that’s why all of my videos are me and my friends goofing off playing Minecraft together. I’ll keep making the best content I can and I’ll keep growing as a person as I’ve always tried to do. — dream (@dreamwastaken) May 31, 2021 He ended his tweets by saying that anyone can find reasons to view others as dishonest and that he will continue “spreading positivity” instead. In any case, the drama over Dream’s speedrunning fiasco is finally over. Whether the speedrunning community accepts his apology remains to be seen, but considering how popular the Minecraft content creator remains to this day, it’s unlikely it will even matter.

  • Dream explains why he’s actually “impressed” by Andrew Tate’s social media ban – Dexerto

Dream explains why he’s actually “impressed” by Andrew Tate’s social media ban Dream, Instagram / YouTubeMinecraft YouTuber and Twitch streaming star Dream has taken a swipe at Andrew Tate over his bans on TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram. Tate has been slapped with a blanket ban over the world’s biggest content-sharing platforms. Twitter expelled him back in 2017 over controversial comments regarding those affected by sexual assault, and in 2022 the rest have followed suit – with TikTok, in particular, stating he was sharing hateful language. In a statement, the company said: “Misogyny is a hateful ideology that is not tolerated on TikTok. We’ve been removing violative videos and accounts for weeks, and we welcome the news that other platforms are also taking action against this individual.” Dream takes swipe at Andrew Tate While Tate has a large following online, with content featuring the former kickboxer pulling in over 15 million views on TikTok, many have supported his removal. In a Twitter post, Minecraft creator Dream – who has five million followers – responded to the action companies had taken to remove Tate from their platforms. He said: “I’m kind of impressed Andrew Tate was able to get banned from so many places. Imagine CEOs of all different ages, sexes, and ethnicities all collectively agreeing that you’re an idiot. “There are trolls that have been trying for years to accomplish what he did in just a few weeks!” Twitter reacts to Dream tweet The tweet has been retweeted nearly 3,000 times at the time of writing, and liked by over 65,000 people – though, there was a mixed reaction in the comments. One said: “Here comes all the 11-year-old fanboys to defend him…” Another replied: “The way the last sentence is phrased… lets not.” A third user commented: “Is he banned from all Dream related spaces? Please I need the confirmation.” The YouTuber has not responded to any of the users in the replies, though it is highly unlikely that Tate would be welcome in any of Dream’s spaces any time soon. Tate is banned on YouTube, for starters, and he’s just been called an “idiot” on the timeline.

  • Dream finally fulfils LGBTQIA+ charity promise after fan backlash over lack of streams – Dexerto

Dream finally fulfils LGBTQIA+ charity promise after fan backlash over lack of streams The Trevor Project / Instagram: DreamwastakenMinecraft star Dream has donated a considerable $140,000 sum to The Trevor Project, a LGBTQIA+ charity, in light of backlash to his lack of streaming throughout the month of June. After weeks of grabbing headlines with various controversies and trolls, Dream opted to end the month on a high note. The popular influencer donated $140,000 to The Trevor Project — a charity offering support to LGBTQIA+ young people — though even this good-willed gesture copped a wave of backlash online. At the very beginning of June, celebrated as Pride Month in the LGBTQIA+ community, Dream made a promise on Twitter. “Any money that I get from subs, donations, bits, or otherwise from streaming this month will go to The Trevor Project.” However, critics say Dream didn’t live up to his promises. https://twitter.com/defnoodles/status/1410352033949904897 Prior to the final day of the month, Dream’s main Twitch channel was completely inactive. ‘Dreamwastaken’ remained dormant since May 31. Instead, the streamer took to his secondary account ‘DreamAlt_’, and went live just once in June. “He has a single two-hour stream on his alt, which has a tenth of his main’s followers and is not linked to his socials,” one person shared on June 30. “The subs and donations were off for that [two-hour] stream.” As a result, many argued Dream didn’t live up to his promise and that he had all but forgotten his donation incentive for the month. With just hours to go, Dream finally went live on his main Twitch channel for a 2.5 hour broadcast. During this June 30 stream, along with various social media podcasts, he raked in “$20,000 in subs, $60,000 in donations, and over $10,000 in ads.” $90,000 was raised in total, even with his main account being inactive for 29 out of 30 days. Adding to this, Dream chucked in a further $50,000 before sending the collective sum to The Trevor Project. This is being donated to the Trevor Project an LGBTQIA+ charity dedicated to LGBTQIA+ youth. Dream explains why he doesn’t regret face reveal despite putting mask back on YouTube: Colin and SamirYouTube star Dream has explained why he doesn’t regret doing his infamous face reveal despite making the decision to put the mask back on. Back in October 2022, Minecraft YouTube star Dream uploaded a video revealing his face after years of being behind his iconic mask. Just eight months later, on June 9, 2023, Dream revealed that he deleted his face reveal video and was going to go back to using the mask he’s been known for all along. In an interview with Colin & Samir, Dream explained why he doesn’t regret doing his face reveal despite making the choice to put it back on. Dream doesn’t regret face reveal In the interview posted on July 10, 2023, Dream spoke with Colin & Samir about his recent decision to put his mask back on. The YouTubers asked Dream if he regretted the face reveal, prompting him to explain his thoughts. “I definitely don’t regret the face reveal. I feel to me it’s like in order to live my life I feel like I had to do the face reveal,” he said. “Given the fact I had this mask, I would maybe do things slightly differently but it’s also hard to say that because it could create a chain of events where everything goes different after that.” (Topic starts at 1:27:43) Earlier in the video, Dream also revealed that he takes inspiration for his masked character from Stan Lee’s idea for Spiderman. With his mask on, Dream can be someone without a specific identity that everyone can find some part to connect with. The YouTuber has deleted some of his IRL content since he put the mask back on as well, and it’s unknown if we’ll ever see mask-less Dream in the future. Regardless though, he’s still been appearing at various events like VidCon.

  • Dream claims Nicolas Cantu threatened to kill him amid “homophobic” rant – Dexerto

Dream claims Nicolas Cantu threatened to kill him amid “homophobic” rant dreamwastaken/ncantu | InstagramThe ongoing drama between voice actor Nicolas Cantu (known for roles in TMNT and The Amazing World of Gumball) and YouTuber Dream has come to a head as a video of Cantu has been released where he threatened to “paralyze” Dream, as well as throwing out various slurs. Dream’s been making headlines as of late, and it hasn’t been because of his incredibly successful YouTube career. Though the face reveal and subsequent tour has captured the hearts of many fans, there are those who have called him out for grooming fans. While these allegations have yet to be proven, some have continued accusing him of interacting with underage fans. Nicolas Cantu, a voice actor known for his roles on shows like TMNT and a star role in The Amazing World of Gumball, took to Twitter and called Dream a “p*dophile”, though he was replying to a fan account rather than Dream himself. The real Dream responded by posting a video of Cantu on a drunken rant in the back of an Uber, with him threatening Dream during their trip. Dream shows footage of Nicolas Cantu’s rant The video depicts Cantu and Dream in an Uber car together in a rant that’s garnered, at the time of writing, over 60 million views and counting on Twitter. He insulted the driver, calling him a “fa****” and a “re****” and comparing his intelligence to that of a caveman. “You don’t understand that you’re talking to, like, a Michelangelo of my time, right? Like, I’m a genius. Albert Einstein-level history book maker. You’re gonna be forgotten like the dust in the sand. When you’re in the f***ing Sahara and there’s a hundred million thousand billion sand particles, you’re gonna be one of those. And I’m gonna be a statue erected in gold.” Cantu went on to claim he’s like this because of, “ADHD, autism, neurodivergence,” and that he wants to fight Dream. “Either you’re gonna be paralyzed or you’re gonna be dead,” claimed Cantu. In a tweet from before the video surfaced, Cantu claimed that he was drunk at the time despite him being underage and that he’s been “cutting back” on drinking. The fact that Cantu was under the age of being able to legally drink led many to be concerned for his health and to double down on their accusations toward Dream. Cantu’s rant slips into the realm of having delusions of grandeur, something often experienced by those who abuse substances and aren’t in their right mind. Many of those who have since seen this video are concerned for Cantu’s health and well-being. “I would be pretty concerned if a friend of mine was acting like this after drinking, and would be something we could discuss after the hangover.” said one Twitter user. Nicolas Cantu has yet to respond to the video at the time of writing.

  • Dream collabs with Technoblade’s father to raise cancer awareness in YouTuber’s legacy – Dexerto

Dream collabs with Technoblade’s father to raise cancer awareness in YouTuber’s legacy YouTube: DreamMinecraft content creator Dream livestreamed with Technoblade’s father in a video that recounted personal stories about the late YouTuber to help raise awareness for cancer. On June 30, it was announced that Minecraft YouTuber Technoblade had passed away after losing his battle with cancer. The 23-year-old YouTube star revealed his diagnosis to fans in 2021 before stepping away from content creation to undergo chemotherapy for his illness. Since his passing, Technoblade’s audience – as well as his family, friends, and the YouTube community – have rallied together to help donate and support the Sarcoma Foundation and other cancer research companies alike in his honor. As a way to further help raise awareness, Dream’s first livestream since revealing his face – uploaded on October 18 – featured Technoblade’s father, the video centering on remembering the late YouTuber while also encouraging viewers and community members to donate to the Sarcoma Foundation. The foundation is a nonprofit organization that helps improve early diagnosis of sarcomas and related tumors as well as improve treatment options, outcomes, and overall quality of life for people who have been diagnosed. At the beginning of the stream, Dream explained how he has been working with Technoblade’s father to find ways to help raise awareness for the cause and encourage people to donate. “Ever since Techno’s passing, we’ve been talking and communicating about how we can do the best and raise the most money that we can.” Dream added later in the video that “Cancer doesn’t get as much funding as you may think.” Technoblade’s father then spoke about his grief journey, candidly recounting what the final week of Technoblade’s life looked like. “The grief wants to be the only thing that is happening and I went through. I was there for his whole life…The last week of his life was mostly painful. I don’t want the last week of his life to be the thing that cements itself in my head.” However, his father explained that he wants his son’s audience to remember “the whole person.” The two then traded stories about Technoblade, with Dream recounting how he and Technoblade went from “rivals” and “frenemies” to then developing a deeper friendship and relationship. Explaining how this shift in their dynamic first began when the two “teamed up” for the Minecraft Championships. Techno’s father told stories from when his son was younger, recalling how he used to make fun of his son for how seriously he took playing video games when he first began streaming. How if the power ever went out and Techno lost progress in a game, he would correct Techno and say that “all of that play wasted” when his son would refer to the progress lost as “work.” His father then revealed that – while Techno had no concrete plans before his passing – he was wanting to do a face reveal “eventually.” “It was something he had thought about. He never really got the gimmick or hook that would have made it work.” And while he may have passed away before Dream’s face reveal, the content creator emotionally spoke about how the two discussed it together so much that it “makes [him] feel like he is a part of it all.” To wrap up the hour-long video, Dream and Techno’s father talked about what Technoblade’s audience – as well as the general public – can do to help support cancer research and raise awareness. “Most people know someone who has been affected by cancer,” says Dream. “If you can’t donate then try and raise awareness, spread the word.” Technoblade’s father added that “I know that Techno had quite an audience and it seems like he really meant a lot to people….I’m so proud of him and humbled and grateful.” Finally, he thanked those who have already donated and supported the Sarcoma Foundation, explaining how those working there “hadn’t seen anything like it before” when discussing the way Technoblade’s community has rallied around him.

  • Dream calls out his “horrible” fans for how they reacted to #CancelDreamStans trend – Dexerto

Dream calls out his “horrible” fans for how they reacted to #CancelDreamStans trend YouTube: DreamDream has called out a small portion of fans, who he described as “horrible,” for reacting bitterly to the #CancelDreamStans trend and harassing other streamers. Earlier this week, #CancelDreamStans started trending on social media after some of Dream’s followers were accused of sending death threats to other streamers who didn’t like his content. But while he said he “doesn’t support death threats or threats at all,” he defended his fan base and hit back at those who criticized it. He claimed the toxic fans are a significant minority. His response didn’t sit too well with other content creators, including Kaceytron, who slammed stan culture for being toxic and harmful. She claimed his fans have been “ageist, ableist, sexist, and incredibly toxic” towards and believes they’re “making Twitch unsafe.” Kaceytron discussed the issue with her friends in a recent stream, and one of them called out popular Minecraft streamers like Dream for not doing enough to discourage the bad behavior. Eventually, Dream appeared in the chat and asked if he could join the conversation. They invited him and wanted to hear what he had to say. “The dox thing is horrible, and nobody should ever do that,” he said. “Everybody who does that knows that what they’re doing is horrible and wrong.” He also mentioned how he’s been in the community for a long time, and he and his friends have been victims of it too. “It’s just something that’s been around since the beginning of the internet.” However, they wanted him to bite the bullet and publicly denounce the stans who have been harassing, doxing, and generally being toxic towards others, including Kaceytron. And he did. “Well, of course [I denounce them]. The thing is, my stans obviously do the same thing and report accounts that do things like that, and anybody who posts things like that will get shunned out of the community. I don’t consider them a part of the community.” He described them as the “minority” and said “most of those people are using burner accounts because if they didn’t, if they use their own accounts, they would get held accountable.” “They’d get people going after them and saying it’s totally wrong.”

  • Dream calls out Hasan for spreading “outright lies” in now-deleted tweet – Dexerto

Dream calls out Hasan for spreading “outright lies” in now-deleted tweet Instagram: dreamwastaken / Twitch: HasanAbiDream has lashed out at Twitch star Hasan ‘HasanAbi’ Piker, claiming the commentator spread “outright lies” about the YouTuber over his collaboration with disgraced Minecraft creator Markus ‘Notch’ Persson dating back to January 2020. Dream hasn’t been able to stay out of the headlines all week; first with his apology for cheating during his 2020 Minecraft speedruns, and for issues surrounding his ever-expanding fandom. Now, Hasan has taken aim at Dream for collaborating with disgraced Minecraft founder Markus Persson, better known across the internet as Notch. Hasan took issue to fans trying to cancel Karl Jacobs “for being an Ice Poseidon fan at some point” and protecting Dream after he made a viral video — with over 18 million views — with the controversial Persson. “Attacking your favorite content creators and writing massive threads about how it’s problematic to bring up slavery in any capacity in a video game roleplay scenario is ridiculous,” he said. “This, just having Notch on a video like this with 16 million views, is significantly worse. I can’t even,” the Twitch star continued. “This dude has been an avowed, out and about white supremacist transphobe for so long.” Dream, who was watching the stream, claimed Hasan was “spreading misinformation as well as bringing up [out of context] things,” adding the streamer’s antics were “hilarious”. “Just say you’re anti your friends being held accountable instead of saying that BS.” The tweet garnered thousands of likes in minutes before Dream took it down. He doubled down saying “they can feel free to DM me if they have issues rather than spreading outright lies,” and Hasan took him up on that offer. Inviting Dream onto his stream, the YouTuber quickly changed his tone and apologized to Hasan in front of thousands live on Twitch. “I’m sorry for the tweet. That was stupid. That was just me being an idiot. I was watching your stream and I was like ‘ah this f**king a**hole.’,” Dream said. “My only thing was ‘oh he’s bringing up something I apologized for’ and not mentioning the apology, so people who are now being introduced to this would see it without the context.” The dispute ended somewhat amicably, with the two having an in-depth conversation on stream afterwards. Dream has now deleted the video with Persson from his YouTube channel.

  • Dream calls for “forgiveness” in long post amid Karl Jacobs controversy – Dexerto

Dream calls for “forgiveness” in long post amid Karl Jacobs controversy DreamMinecraft content creator Dream posted a long message urging “love, forgiveness, growth, and acceptance” towards those who make mistakes, amid controversy surrounding friend Karl Jacobs. Having seen his popularity explode over 2020, Dream has become one of the highest-profile figures on the Internet. With his popularity has come instances of controversy, and Dream has often had to face it head-on. On April 29, Dream’s friend and fellow content creator Karl Jacobs was criticized for his controversial association with now banned Twitch streamer Ice Poseidon. Jacobs initially responded on his Twitch stream, but felt “it wasn’t the best format to respond in” and later clarified things further via Twitlonger. The situation has prompted wider discussion around the manner in which those in the public eye are held accountable for their actions. Dream had earlier backed up Tyler ‘Trainwrecks’ Niknam’s call to “teach and correct mistakes” rather than “cancel and alienate.” “How you respond and grow from mistakes you’ve made is what should define you, not your mistakes,” Dream said. there’s three types of people on the internet 1. people who have done or said dumb stuff on the internet 2. people who haven’t used the internet long enough to and 3. liars. How you respond and grow from mistakes you’ve made is what should define you, not your mistakes. — dream (@dreamwastaken) May 1, 2021 Three hours later, Dream posted a long message exploring this idea of accountability further, where he stressed the value of having a “willingness to learn” from past mistakes. He emphasized that the post wasn’t directly related to Jacobs’ situation. “Mistakes that you make now are documented forever on the internet, and things that in the past before the internet would have been learning experiences can now very quickly spiral into something much bigger,” he said. Read More: How does Dream make money? – “I think that this is a good thing in a lot of ways as the world will hopefully slowly become a much less bigoted and ignorant place, and people whose voices never would have been heard can scream louder than ever before and can’t be ignored.” random 5am rambling about something that’s on my mind https://t.co/aHHPMx7Slf — dream (@dreamwastaken) May 1, 2021 However, he also urged critics not to take apologies at face value, explaining how incoherent apologies can often be the most sincere, and vice versa. “Words can be helpful, words can be reassuring, words can be insightful, and words can be necessary, but at the end of the day, remember that not everyone is as good with words as others,” he explained. “Don’t be manipulated by a forked tongue, but also don’t confuse a normal one for a forked one because of a stutter.” “Spread love and positivity, hold those accountable that need to be held accountable, educate those that are ignorant, don’t be a bystander to bigotry or hatred, and don’t let anyone tell you that your personal feelings aren’t valid because they are. “However, love, forgiveness, growth, and acceptance are some of the most underappreciated things we have.” While Dream stresses his words are not directly related to Jacobs’ situation, they certainly have resonance in the wake of this controversy.

  • Dream calls out “gross” hate sent to random people over his ‘leaked’ face reveal – Dexerto

Dream calls out “gross” hate sent to random people over his ‘leaked’ face reveal YouTube: DreamDream has called out those sending hate to “random people” after a fake ‘leaked’ face reveal went viral, calling the comments “harmful and gross.” Over the past year or so, Minecraft YouTuber Dream has become a staple name in the streaming community, building a following of millions of dedicated fans, and finding huge amounts of success with his wildly popular Dream SMP project. With over 23 million subscribers on YouTube, the star has even branched out into music, releasing his song ‘Mask’ on May 21 to a warm reception from fans. Notably, Dream has never shown his face online, known instead for his iconic stick figure on a green background. This naturally has plenty of people curious about what the creator could really look like, and Dream himself has teased that he’s planning an eventual face reveal, due to the restrictions of being a ‘faceless’ content creator. However, some people have even tried to uncover the streamer’s real face before he’s ready. On June 10, a tweet from someone claiming they’d found the ‘real Dream’ through his family’s personal Facebook accounts gained traction. The tweet received an onslaught of hate from people who slammed Dream for ‘catfishing’ them into thinking he had a different appearance than he actually does. He reacted to the drama the next day with a tongue-in-cheek fake reveal. However, he also took to his account ‘dreamhangout’ to call out those who were making cruel comments about the individual who people tried to claim was Dream. “People who don’t like me really jump through every hoop to justify hate,” he said, “hating on the appearance of random people that are ‘leaked Dream face!’ isn’t the big win you think it is. I’ve seen it twice a day since I started YouTube. It’s harmful & gross & idiotic.” ✧*。— Update! Thread from @dreamhangout! pic.twitter.com/thBkEw9NSV— Dream Updates! (@dreamdates_) June 10, 2021 He went on to add: “Death threats, suicide encouragement, and harassment isn’t the big win they think it is either. Neither is fabricating screenshots or stories. Twitter can be the most ridiculous place sometimes, lots of hate and hostility. Remember to spread love and positivity. Keep on smiling.” It’s not clear when Dream plans on revealing his face to the world, but it seems that until that day, speculation over what he really looks like won’t die down.

  • Dream blames Adin Ross for holding Kick back in Twitch rivalry – Dexerto

Dream blames Adin Ross for holding Kick back in Twitch rivalry YouTube: Dream/Kick: Adin RossMinecraft YouTuber Dream blames Adin Ross for holding Kick back in its streaming platform rivalry with Twitch. Since its launch back in late 2022, new streaming platform Kick, which Trainwreck is involved with and promoting heavily, has skyrocketed in popularity, largely thanks to its 95/5 sub-revenue split. It’s also given exclusive contracts to some of Twitch’s biggest creators, with Adin Ross being among the largest signed to the platform so far. However, Minecraft YouTuber Dream has revealed that he thinks Adin is what’s holding back Kick in its rivalry with Twitch. Dream blames Adin Ross for causing Kick problems During the June 15 episode of the BFFS podcast with Dave Portnoy, Josh Richards, and Bri Chickenfry, Dream was asked to “start one, bench one, and cut one,” given the choice of xQc, Adin Ross, and Kai Cenat. “Cut Adin. This is gonna cause some beef… I’m starting xQc and benching Kai Cenat,” he said before Josh asked why he was cutting Adin. “Man, I don’t even want to get into it. We’re cutting Adin. I don’t think I need to say why… he’s the only reason right now why Kick isn’t kicking Twitch’s a*s.” Over the last few months, Adin Ross has stirred up quite a bit of drama throughout the community. Ross has told Twitch star Hasan to “kill himself,” came under fire after he “bullied” an OnlyFans model, and was told by his manager that he cannot get rappers to appear on his stream due to past “nazi” guests. However, others claim that Adin is part of the reason Kick has taken off as it has over the last few months since he’s brought so much publicity to the platform. The Kick star is yet to respond to the comments from Dream, but we’ll be sure to update you if he does. In the meantime, check out why Dream decided to put his infamous mask back on.

  • Dream breaks the internet with “hair reveal” – Dexerto

Dream breaks the internet with “hair reveal” Instagram: dreamwastakenMinecraft YouTuber Dream surprised fans by uploading an Instagram picture of him holding a framed GeorgeNotFound tweet while showing part of his hair, getting ever closer to a face reveal. With over 25 million subscribers on YouTube, Dream is one of the most popular Minecraft creators around, and he’s gained a huge amount of followers over the past year or so thanks to his wildly popular survival multiplayer sever. One of the most notable things about the star is that he has never shown his face on-screen, instead, being known for the cartoon smiley face figure he uses as his avatar. Many fans are of course keen to see how the creator looks in real life, and he’s teased fans several times before with things like a “neck reveal.” He has also revealed in interviews that he is planning on doing a full face reveal at some point. Fans are now one step closer to seeing the face behind the popular creator, after he uploaded a new post to his Instagram account, which appears to show him holding a framed tweet from fellow creator GeorgeNotFound reading “love you Dream.” View this post on Instagram But eagle-eyed fans spotted that peeking out from his hoodie was a bit of his hair, and they immediately flooded the comments and Twitter with their discovery. https://twitter.com/antidnfs/status/1424198280343433219 “You guys, you can see his hair, not tryna be one of those weird Dream stans but come on no one is noticing,” one fan wrote, in all caps. Just hours before, Dream posted a tweet that simply read “I’m not bald,” which some appeared to reference in the comments of his Instagram post by writing: “is this proof you’re not bald?” Some appeared dubious about whether that’s really his hair, or whether it is Dream at all. But if it really is him then that’s one step closer for many fans who are excited to see his full face reveal at some point — although nobody knows when that could be.

  • Dream angered by backlash blaming him for his fans’ actions – Dexerto

Dream angered by backlash blaming him for his fans’ actions Twitter, @DreamFollowing a wave of online controversy, popular Minecraft YouTuber Dream took to Twitter to address critics and show them why he believes all of the backlash is inherently misguided. Dream and the Dream Team, with friends like Tommyinnit and Quackity, have been one of the largest sources of online entertainment thanks to a consistent flood of content across YouTube and Twitch. While their videos and streams, including of the entire Dream SMP Minecraft server, have brought Dream a huge amount of fans — that popularity appears to have come with a downside. Originally, most of the drama surrounding Dream involved accusations about him cheating during a 1.16 Minecraft speedrun. But now, a very different sort of critique has emerged, as fans and critics bemoan the content creator’s inability to restrain the least appropriate segments of his community. Over the past week, #dreamwaswrong began trending on Twitter and similar complaints moved across social media. The basis for this backlash surrounded a subculture of Dream fans that had begun creating inappropriate fanfiction and art involving the minors who represented the Dream Team. In response, Dream has shot down those critics. https://twitter.com/Dream/status/1352705286818115593 Drawing a theoretical parallel, the faceless content creator philosophically makes his perspective known. Mocking his critics, Dream criticizes the media and his detractors using a hypothetical scenario. “Dream has refused to condemn murder after one of his fans turned out to be a murderer. Will he finally be held accountable?” Essentially, Dream suggests that people criticize him for the actions of others — noting that he ought to be “held accountable” for the vile actions (in this hypothetical instance: murder) of his fans. The point of this example is to highlight the absurdity of a causal relationship between influencer and the influenced. While fans and critics appear to be divided on the efficacy of Dream’s tweet, it’s clear that he is trying to push back against those who blame him for the actions of his viewers. In the social media age, this relationship between popular figure and stan is a particularly nuanced one. For what it’s worth, Dream has also taken a much more firm stance against inappropriate subcultures of his fandom on his alternate account, DreamWasTaken. It remains to be seen whether or not that will be enough to satisfy his critics, but the situation is obviously a contentious one.

  • Dream announces live tour in United States: Dates, tickets, more – Dexerto

Dream announces live tour in United States: Dates, tickets, more Twitter: dreamwastakenMinecraft star Dream has announced that he’s going on tour across the United States. Here’s everything we know about the tour thus far, including where to buy tickets, dates, and more. Dream is one of the most popular Minecraft creators in the scene — but he’s more than a YouTuber and Twitch streamer. The faceless creator — who recently put his mask back on after revealing his face in a super-viral moment last year — has also stepped his toes into the music industry, releasing his latest song ‘Everest’ on July 28. Now, it looks like Dream is taking his talents to the big stage, announcing his live tour on August 4. Here’s everything we know so far. Dream 2023 Tour Dates & Locations Dream’s 2023 Tour, seemingly called ‘Whoever Wants to Hear,’ will take place across the United States throughout the month of September. September 14: House of Blues, Orlando, FL – September 17: Howard Theater, Washington, DC – September 19: Webster Hall, New York, NY – September 23: Emo’s Austin, Austin, TX – September 27: The Fonda Theater, Los Angeles, CA – Where to buy tickets for Dream 2023 Tour Fans can purchase tickets for Dream’s tour at the event’s official website, which we’ve linked here. Dream’s 2023 tour is described by the official website as a “completely unique and never-before-seen live concert and immersive event,” which will feature “surprise guests and exclusive content.” According to Dream’s tweet, he will be performing his music. Unfortunately, not much else is known about the tour at the time of writing, but we will make sure to update this page with more information as it comes out. This marks a major moment for Dream after the creator put his mask back on in June, in a move that left much of his fanbase confused. In the weeks since, Dream has made public appearances with his mask on, and even deleted all his other content that showed his face, although photos of his face are now back up on his Instagram account. It’s unclear if his tour will see him take off his mask or not. This latest announcement also follows other big news for the star, who claimed he was undergoing “major surgery” just after releasing his newest song in July.

  • Dream and Ranboo the same person? SMP Minecraft twist sparks conspiracy theories – Dexerto

Dream and Ranboo the same person? SMP Minecraft twist sparks conspiracy theories Ranboo/NovaskinsA mind-bending twist from streamer ‘Ranboo’ while playing on the Dream SMP Minecraft server has some fans questioning, yet again, the identity of the famous content creator known as ‘dream.’ The Dream SMP is a private, survival, multiplayer (SMP) Minecraft server where dream and his fellow streamers roleplay, forming alliances and producing a ton of deep, deep lore and storylines for videos, which we’ll only be scratching the surface of here today. Toward the end of 2020, Minecraft streamer Ranboo finally got an invite to the server, and during a seriously freaky broadcast on January 30, he and dream worked together to blow fan’s minds; so much so that “WHAT HAPPENED” started trending on Twitter and even set off a few conspiracy theories in the process. To sum up the 40-minute stream (in case you don’t want to watch the whole thing) the story so far is that Ranboo has become convinced dream is somehow messing with him or haunting him over the last few days as the voice inside his head — making him do “terrible” things on the server. In light of this, and to confront his supposed tormentor, Ranboo decides to visit the server’s supermax prison where dream is locked up. Needless to say, things start getting weird as soon as the two meet in a cell. During the confrontation, dream reveals that he’s simply a figment of Ranboo’s imagination or some kind of fever dream, casually proclaiming “I’m not even real” before vanishing. Then all hell breaks loose, with the streamer losing what last bits of sanity he has left before the ceiling falls down on him — an impressive use of terrain that, along with the storyline, also impressed viewers. https://twitter.com/mirnyx_/status/1355633885523148801?s=20 Quickly after the stream ended, the server started trending on Twitter, with fans literally wondering what the heck had just gone down, how the ceiling collapsed like that, and whether or not dream and Ranboo were the same person. It’s important to keep in mind that this is on the SMP server, so everything that goes down is fiction. Most fans weren’t actually wondering if both streamers were actually one person IRL (though Ranboo, like dream, has yet to reveal his face. Just saying). Read More: PewDiePie debuts new Virtual YouTuber avatar after taking inspiration from Dream & Corpse – The blocks falling were probably due to a custom texture pack, and as one fan pointed out if you look closely at the vod, you can see where it sort of clips, which led some fans to think the ending was pre-recorded. Brain-melting plot twists and impressive Minecraft special effects aside though, the fact this moment was able to start trending on Twitter almost instantly is super impressive, and probably got even more people interested in the Dream SMP storyline.

  • Dream and TommyInnit roast each other over YouTube clout – Dexerto

Dream and TommyInnit roast each other over YouTube clout YouTube: Dream, Instagram: tommyinnittDream and TommyInnit are two of the biggest Minecraft YouTubers in the world right now, but there seems to be some heated banter over which of them has more clout — with Dream even implying he helped make Tommy as big as he is. Throughout 2020 and into 2021, many top Minecraft creators have completely blown up, far beyond what many might realize if they’re not involved in the community. Names such as TommyInnit and Dream are only growing in popularity and consistently putting up millions of views and becoming major names in the space. While they’re both uber-successful, it looks like they’re also trying to one-up each other as far as YouTube clout goes — and they both make some pretty convincing arguments in their funny roasts of each other. It goes without saying that when it comes purely down to subscriber count, Dream has the upper hand: he’s at around 19m subscribers at the time of writing, almost three times as many as Tommy’s 6.76m. After trying to take credit for teaching Tommy how to title his YouTube videos, and by extension fellow creator Ph1LzA, Tommy joked that Dream is trying to “take credit” for someone else’s success. Dream was quick to bite back, showing off how Tommy’s subscribers and views skyrocketed after he first met Dream. https://twitter.com/dreamwastaken/status/1366768535968563205?s=20 After Tommy suggested that it is actually Wilbur Soot who helps him the most, Dream went back and looked at how Tommy’s channel grew after meeting Wilbur. Needless to say, it doesn’t look quite as impressive. https://twitter.com/dreamwastaken/status/1366789091958943746?s=20 Things seemed to take a more serious turn, when Tommy suggested Dream was “very upset” by the whole ordeal, and what looked like jokes may have had more serious undertones. Of course, not wanting to cause any actual drama, the two made sure to be clear that it wasn’t too serious, settling the beef and explaining that it’s “just jokes.” it’s alright m8, of course i appreciate all the help. just jokes — TommyInnit (@tommyinnit) March 2, 2021 Whether it really was all jokes seems questionable; it did seem to turn a bit more sour, but there doesn’t seem to be much bad blood between the two (if any at all). Looking at the bigger picture, these two are both incredibly successful and riding a huge wave right now, and being friends is far more mutually beneficial than having a public Twitter spat would be to either party.

  • Dream admits to having cheats enabled during Minecraft speedruns – Dexerto

Dream admits to having cheats enabled during Minecraft speedruns DreamMinecraft YouTuber Dream has once again responded to accusations he cheated while speedrunning the game, and admitted that he had increased drop rates enabled during these speedruns. Arguably one of the biggest successes of 2020 was Dream. The Minecraft YouTuber, known for his speedruns and Minecraft Manhunt series, as well as his huge server, burst onto the scene and has since amassed over 20 million subscribers. However, throughout his rise, Dream has been faced with constant accusations of cheating on his Minecraft speedruns. After accusations from a speedrunning website, he even hired an astrophysicist to exonerate him from the claims. But ever since the astrophysicist’s report was rejected, Dream has been left in a limbo where whether or not he was truly innocent was not known. In a May 30 Twitlonger post, Dream admitted that he had increased drop rates enabled for ender pearls during his 1.16 speedruns, and apologized for dragging the speedrun website’s moderators “through the mud.” Read More: Jschlatt mocks Dream’s hoodie merch – He said: “When the drama first started I cared more about defending myself and being right, than about figuring out what was actually going on and I shot myself in the foot by doing it. “I felt really terrible for the mods because I dragged them through the mud even though they were mostly right.” https://twitter.com/dreamwastaken/status/1398959443409358855 Ender pearls are a crucial component for completing a Minecraft speedrun, as players need them to find the location of the end portal, and also to access these portals. Increasing the drop rate through plugins makes this process quicker. But Dream claimed that he did not know this was happening during the speedruns. He had the increased drop rate plugin enabled for his Minecraft Manhunt series, and didn’t realize they were also enabled for his speedruns. “I had considered at the time that this potentially could have been a problem, but brushed it off because server-side and client-side are completely different and as far as I was aware nothing had been done client-side,” he added. Dream explained that he will likely release another statement in the future, but urged fans not to attack the website mods who decided to remove his record. “I’m sure I’ll talk about it more just for clarity sake, but I want to avoid causing more drama,” the YouTuber said. “Please don’t send any hate to the mod team or anyone involved in the situation, I don’t want any more drama at all, you’re no supporter of mine if you do.”

  • Dream and GeorgeNotFound’s concert torn apart for “awful” performance – Dexerto

Dream and GeorgeNotFound’s concert torn apart for “awful” performance Instagram: dreamwastakenMinecraft stars Dream and GeorgeNotFound are coming under fire for their “awful” performance on Dream’s live tour after one of their concerts went viral. Minecraft star Dream is currently traveling across the United States on his ‘Whoever Wants to Hear’ tour, alongside fellow creator GeorgeNotFound. Although Dream has cemented himself as a major online figure in the gaming space, he’s also broken into the music biz, releasing several of his own original tracks over the years. In August, Dream announced that he would be going on tour, scheduling performances in states like Florida, Texas, California, and more throughout September. Unfortunately, it doesn’t look like this tour is being met with much acclaim after a video from one of Dream’s concerts went viral online. Dream & GeorgeNotFound roasted over concert performance Affectionately called the ‘Droncert’ among fans, one attendee took a video of Dream and George performing a song they’d written together on the tour… and netizens are tearing it apart. “You’ll try to find me but I’m in LA, chillin’ with yo bae,” the pair sing, seemingly out of breath. The duo’s vocals weren’t exactly synched up with each other, either, resulting in a performance that left many viewers disappointed and confused as to why fans were cheering them on. “I could’ve gone my lifetime without having heard this, and here I am,” one user wrote on X. i could’ve gone my lifetime without having heard this and here i am — Wost🐰 (@mosthiphop) September 15, 2023 “They let anyone make music and perform these days, huh?” another asked. “Literally what are they even saying? That said, those in attendance at their concert seemed to be enjoying themselves. This is just the latest backlash to stem from Dream after the YouTuber won a Streamy Award for Gamer of the Year over Markiplier, resulting in a slew of criticism against the Minecraft star.

  • Dream addresses drama with Quackity after Minecraft SMP announcement – Dexerto

Dream addresses drama with Quackity after Minecraft SMP announcement YouTube star Dream has addressed the drama between the recently announced USMP and QSMP Minecraft servers. The Dream SMP was undoubtedly one of the biggest groups of content creators we’ve seen in Minecraft, if not the entire internet at one point in time. While the original SMP may be in the past, Dream has now launched a new project. On April 3, the YouTuber announced the United SMP server, the first multi-language SMP bringing together 60 content creators across six languages. The same day Quackity too had an announcement — revealing his own multi-lingual server QSMP, featuring 16 creators and real-time live translation for viewers. Dream has now spoken out after drama sparked as the two servers clash with each one other. Dream addresses drama with Quackity The YouTube star addressed the situation in an April 10 tweet — revealing that the two worked on their own projects privately at the same time, which accidentally clashed. “For any of you confused about the USMP / QSMP ‘drama’, Quackity & I worked on the same thing accidentally and kept it private like most projects & they accidentally clashed with each other because of it,” he wrote. “I have absolutely no hard feelings towards Quackity and love him to death.” Dream continued: “I want to start streaming and playing survival for fun again with friends and that’s the goal.” “I hate seeing people minimize what Q has done in the gaming space, as even if other people try and build bridges, he broke down the wall to make it possible for them to be built.” There seems to be no animosity between the two Minecraft stars — with fans now hoping the two new SMPs collab together at some point.

Boasting over 31 million YouTube subscribers and 6.3 million followers on Twitch, Dream has accrued a massive fanbase that continues to expand. Of course, having such a large fanbase can sometimes result in occasional drama — as seen when Dream finally showed his face after years of being a ‘faceless’ content creator, sparking a wide variety of reactions from his viewers after they saw what he actually looked like. Now, another big moment is taking over Dream’s fanbase, along with that of another major content creator in the Minecraft scene. Dream responds to rumors of secretly dating GeorgeNotFound It’s not unusual to see fans of celebrities or content creators ship their favorite personalities with other stars. This is true for the Minecraft community, some of whom have been pairing Dream with fellow creator and BFF GeorgeNotFound for some time. In fact, this pairing has become so popular that Dream felt the need to address rumors that he and George were secretly dating in a tweet on March 9, 2023. “George and I are not gay or in a gay relationship with each other,” Dream wrote. “I just thought I would clear up the common misconception.” The post has gone super viral on Twitter, racking up nearly two million views and over 73,000 likes at the time of writing. • Dr Disrespect, Nadeshot, & CouRage amusingly trade blows over 100 Thieves game reveal – Dexerto

Dr Disrespect, Nadeshot, & CouRage amusingly trade blows over 100 Thieves game reveal Instagram: 100 Thieves, Dr DIsrespectDr Disrespect is back on form, living up to his larger-than-life persona with a well-meaning jab at 100 Thieves co-owners CouRage and Nadeshot following the announcement of their very own video game. After the May 18 announcement that 100 Thieves would be stepping into the game development world, it took no time for Dr Disrespect’s gaming studio Midnight Society to start stirring up beef with the new competition. With details still light on the ground surrounding what exactly the 100 Thieves game might be, currently only titled ‘Project X’, a lengthy post on the game’s official Twitter page gave an emotional tribute to why 100 Thieves is moving in this new direction. Citing ‘the magic of video games” as the driving force behind the new creative venture, Nadeshot signed off on the wordy tweet following the declaration of intent. In response to the emotionally charged Twitter post, the two-time took no time in reaching out to Nadeshot and fellow 100 Thieves co-owner CouRage. Doubling down on the light-hearted ribbing going on surrounding the competing companies, the Doc belittled the upcoming Project X, calling it “a cartoon anime golf game for the Nintendo Switch.” Read More: Ex-Midnight Society dev claims “abusive leadership” drove him out of Dr Disrespect’s studio – Giving as good as he got, CouRage was quick to fire back Doc’s upcoming Project Moon, saying: “Listen Doc, We can’t both have predatory NFT games.” Listen Doc, We can’t BOTH have predatory NFT games, ya know? — Jack “CouRage” Dunlop (@CouRageJD) May 19, 2022 With the inclusion of NFTs being a subject of frequent discussion surrounding the upcoming game, and the recent collapse of the crypto market, it remains to be seen how far Doc will push the Web 3 inclusion in whatever Midnight Society ends up producing. • DrDisrespect roasts NICKMERCS and TimTheTatMan over Twitch’s banned words – Dexerto

DrDisrespect roasts NICKMERCS and TimTheTatMan over Twitch’s banned words Twitch: TimTheTatman/DrDisrespectVeteran streamer DrDisrespect hilariously mocked NICKMERCS and TimTheTatman, roasting them for their affiliation with Twitch as the streaming platform continues to baffle viewers over its word censorships. There are few streamers as charismatic and outspoken as Dr Disrespect. The mustached ‘online gaming community’ entertainer can regularly be found roasting his fellow streamers, generally in the good-natured way he has established as a trademark of his humor. Despite his prominence, he is in a minority of the world’s biggest streamers in the fact that he streams on YouTube. Most fans will remember the controversy surrounding his indefinite ban from Twitch, for which a concrete reason has still not emerged. As a result, he has joined the likes of Valkyrae and CouRage on YouTube. His absence from Twitch was the main ammunition for his roasting of Nick ‘NICKMERCS’ Kolcheff and Tim ‘TimTheTatman’ Betar, both of whom remain on Twitch. The clash came about following a Dexerto tweet, which showed NICKMERCS and Tim as the top two of the most-watched Warzone streamers in 2020. NICKMERCS initially became involved to defend himself and Ninja, which prompted Doc to take some hilarious shots of his own. “I give NICKMERCS and TimTheTatman’s streaming careers another 2 months and then they’re done, for good. Buh bye,” he jibed. TimTheTatman didn’t take his time crafting an elaborate reply, simply stating: “Shut up you little short b*tch.” Further jibes followed, with Tim claiming he’d beat Doc at any sport he chose. This is when the mustached maverick turned his insults to Twitch, joking that Betar sounded “like simp virgin talking like that”. The comments refer to Twitch’s rules to ban the words “simp” and “virgin” from the platform, along with related words. People using them in a pejorative manner, repeatedly, could receive bans. While Twitch certainly has an issue with toxicity, many have been left baffled by the new rules, which they argue go nowhere to tackling the platform’s genuine problems. Tim’s response was to drag the platform’s support account into the argument. Unsurprisingly, they didn’t reply. The exchanges shouldn’t be taken seriously, with the Doc and others well known for their comical back and forths. We’re giving this round to the Doc, though.

  • Dr Disrespect “threatens” wrestling star Baron Corbin over NFL opinion – Dexerto

Dr Disrespect “threatens” wrestling star Baron Corbin over NFL opinion Dr Disrespect – Twitch / WWESuperstar Twitch streamer Dr Disrespect was looking to pick a fight against WWE wrestling star Baron Corbin, all over a football opinion. A number of comparisons can be drawn between the explosive personality of DrDisrespect and the equally edgy attitudes of stars in the wrestling sphere. Ever wanted to see the Doc step foot inside a ring? That opportunity might be drawing near as the streamer decided to call out a former WWE United States Champion, tongue-in-cheek of course. It all started on September 8, which was the first full day of action in the National Football League, when the Doc put out a “bold prediction,” regarding who will win the Super Bowl. “My bold NFL prediction of the year: if Lamar Jackson stays healthy, Ravens are winning the Super Bowl,” he tweeted. My bold NFL prediction for the year: If @Lj_era8 stays healthy, Ravens are winning the Super Bowl. — Dr Disrespect (@drdisrespect) September 8, 2019 The tweet was caught by Corbin, who is a gamer himself and livestreams on Mixer, and he expressed his disagreement with the Two-Time’s prediction with a popular GIF of Danny Devito shaking his head. Read More: DrDisrespect rages at Black Ops 4 – At this point, the Doc hilariously took things to a whole new level, hitting the WWE wrestler with a threat, if you can even call it that. “If I were you, I’d watch your mouth Baron,” he responded. “Those V-neck collared shirts wouldn’t save you in the ring against the 6’8 gaming stallion.” If I were you I’d watch your mouth Baron. Those V-neck collared shirts wouldn’t save you in the ring against the 6’8 gaming stallion. https://t.co/rElqkKRpWu — Dr Disrespect (@drdisrespect) September 8, 2019 While it’s not the first time that Dr Disrespect has flaunted his height on social media, there’s no way that he honestly believes he could take on the wrestler. Formerly a member of the NFL’s Indianapolis Colts roster, Corbin weighs 285lbs and matches the Doc in height at 6 ft 8 inches. Could you picture the Doc in WWE? As much as fans would like to see the two engage in a real hand-to-hand battle, you would be hard-pressed to find even one who would put his money on the Blockbuster champion to be the last one standing. Obviously, as is usually the case with the Doc, the whole thing was just a comedic act, although don’t be surprised if the two decided to join forces in gaming, and possibly even stream together.

  • DrDisrespect gives viewers a piece of his mind on battle royale games – Dexerto

DrDisrespect gives viewers a piece of his mind on battle royale games Viewers of DrDisrespect’s Twitch stream on Thursday got to see The Doc shoot down not just one, but two popular battle royale games within a few hours. First, it was Fortnite. A tired looking Doc closed the game before he explained he was “falling asleep playing this game, man.” “I’m bored of it, I don’t want to play that I don’t want to commit to that,” Doc told viewers. “Let’s move past the candy store man, alright? Let’s get back to real stuff, come on now.” Read More: The Port-a-Fortess is causing major issues in Fortnite, as TSM’s Myth found out *UPDATED* – Later on, Doc managed to tell his viewers with a straight face that he would be playing Playerunknown’s Battlegrounds all day, before breaking down laughing, “funk no we’re not playing Battlegrounds are you kidding me?” It seems like The Doc might be tired of Fortnite and Battlegrounds after getting a taste of Blackout, the new battle royale mode from Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 during the private beta. A lot of the reaction from the community on the heels of the Blackout beta was the feeling that it was the beginning of the end for PUBG, most said Fortnite would probably be fine, since the games were so different stylistically, but Doc has made his opinion clear – get back to the real stuff. Recently, Playstation announced that console players would soon be able to play cross platform with friends using other consoles like Xbox, but console players can get some practice in against PC opponents right now if they queue up using a mouse and keyboard. These changes don’t seem to impress DrDisrespect, who’s vented about his frustration with Fortnite in the past. Doc won’t have to wait long though, because Black Ops 4 and Blackout come out on October 12.

Let’s move on from Gears of War,” Doc stated. “It’s just a whole bunch of over the top, Triple A marketing and PR on top of this game. That’s all it is.” Based on early reviews, Gears 5 currently sits at 86% on Metacritic, and yet Doc was quick to express his frustration with the series, adding that others in the industry have been too scared to share their opinion. “I’m looking at gameplay and I am not impressed. I’ll say it ok, I’ll be the one to step out since no one else is saying it on social media. Gears of War 5 don’t waste my time.” “It looks bland, it looks boring, it’s the exact same thing over and over.” Read more: PewDiePie “calls out” MrBeast – Offering a suggestion for Xbox Game Studios and developers at The Coalition, Doc believes it’s time to reset. “Let’s start a new brand, new company. • DrDisrespect hits back at “fat phony” Hasan in aftermath of NICKMERCS controversy – Dexerto

DrDisrespect hits back at “fat phony” Hasan in aftermath of NICKMERCS controversy YouTube: DrDisRespectDr Disrespect called Hasan a “fat phony” and said that he should worry about himself after the Twitch star criticized the Docs loyalty amid NICKMERC’s operator bundle being removed from Call of Duty. FaZe star NICKMERCS was heavily criticized on social media for saying “they should leave little children alone,” to a tweet showing a protest over Pride Month being recognized in a school. This resulted in Call of Duty removing his bundle from MW2 and Warzone 2. An action that Dr Disrespect called “an embarrassing one,” as he uninstalled the game and pledged to not play it again until NICKMERCS receives an official apology. Hasan reacted to his decision on stream and criticized it saying “he’s more loyal to NICKMERC’s having his skin [in the store] than his own wife.” Dr Disrespect and his fans did not appreciate Hasan digging up the two-time’s past in such a manner, and he addressed the comment on his own livestream. Dr Disrespect slams Hasan for his loyalty comments The Doc stated “just worry about yourself, and what’s close to you” in regard to the comments Hasan made. He continued, calling Hasan a “fat phony” among other things, and concluded that Hasan “wouldn’t say these types of things if we are standing next to each other. Because he knows there are repercussions.” The reactions to the feud between the two seem to be mixed, with some saying that the Twitch streamer took it too far. “Doc spitting straight facts,” wrote one viewer. While another comment displayed a similar sentiment: “Hasan and his viewers are so cringe.” Others sided with Hasan, questioning some of the things the Two-Time said and his attitude toward the situation. “Hasan is just as big if not bigger than Doc so why does he think he can intimidate him into not speaking his mind? Also, why is that his first line of defense when someone questions his ideas and actions it’s hella cringe,” wrote another viewer. Hasan has not responded to Dr Disrespect’s comment yet, currently, it seems that a lot of the livestreamer’s attention is on the Kick deal with xQc, which Hasan stated will make Kick face more scrutiny.

  • Drawing robot goes viral on TikTok for all the wrong reasons – Dexerto

Drawing robot goes viral on TikTok for all the wrong reasons TikTok/UnsplashRobotsdraw, a robotic animator, has been blowing up on TikTok. Attracting millions of views by getting their drawings just a little wrong. The joy of watching things perfectly fit together is almost universally shared. There are countless websites, subreddits, and social media accounts dedicated to showing things going perfectly to plan. Hijacking this basic human joy and turning it against us is ‘Robotsdraw.’ A pen on a robotic frame that is dedicated to ruining all of our days. While this isn’t quite Skynet levels of evil, the robot has been attracting attention by getting the drawings it does just slightly off. Setting up our expectations just to watch them topple down. As exemplified in the above video, the robot does an exceptional job of drawing a 9 x 9 box, before skewing wildly at the last minute. Comments on the video express the deep rage that this intrusion into our collective serenity causes. “I..I feel angry and unsatisfied for some strange reason,” one commenter said. “This shouldn’t bother me but it does” sums up our feelings perfectly. Doubling down on the acrimony, the sadistic creator behind the robot has this machine almost do a perfect job of drawing, then solving a maze. Displaying an almost human level of frustration, the robot crosses out its creation after hitting a wall in the maze. Generating 10 million views in the process. “Task failed successfully,” being a top comment from one user. In a startling display of humanity, the TikTok account has months of beautifully drawn content with far less views. It wasn’t until it started refusing to scratch the satisfaction itch that people started irresistibly hate-watching the devilish creations.

  • Drake’s Twitch stream pulls in massive viewership with gambling content – Dexerto

Drake’s Twitch stream pulls in massive viewership with gambling content Twitch: DrakeStakeRap superstar Drake has now started his own Twitch channel – sort of. As part of his partnership with betting site Stake, he has joined the gambling meta on the Amazon-owned platform. The gambling meta on Twitch is as popular as it is controversial. Relegated to the ‘slots’ category, which Twitch doesn’t even have a category image for, it has become one of the biggest segments on the whole site. It entered the top 10 categories last month, overtaking the likes of Warzone. Many of the streams in this section are sponsored by various betting companies. Stake, the “leading crypto casino and sports betting platform”, is one of the more prominent sponsored, paying streamers to play on their site. Drake locked in sponsorship with Stake, and has been fulfilling his deal with streams on Twitch. On July 12, he returned on the StakeDrake channel, to complete only his second livestream, joined by French Montana, and this time pulling in a lot more viewers. At its peak, he hit 112,000 concurrent viewers. Drake has been around Twitch before, such as when he famously streamed alongside Ninja in Fortnite in 2018, also joined by Travis Scott. On his gambling streams, he’s also been joined by Xposed, a former Call of Duty streamer, to help him settle into the platform. How often he’ll be streaming on Twitch on the StakeDrake channel remains to be seen, although it’s unlikely there will be much outside of gambling streams occasionally. There have been calls for Twitch itself to take action against gambling streams, especially due to the risk of children watching. Although Drake’s title said ’18+’, there is no way to actually prevent younger users from viewing the stream. Last year, Twitch said it was “monitoring” gambling content on the platform, although their statement mostly related to suspicions that some streamers were not disclosing their sponsorship, or that they were playing with fake/house money, rather than all gambling streams.

In the meantime, Feitosa has claimed that he will continue posting news updates via Instagram. His YouTube channel also remains active.

Drake stakes massive $250k bet on Jake Paul vs Nate Diaz fight Drake / MVPDrake has put a massive bet on Jake Paul vs Nate Diaz, with the Canadian-born rapper backing the UFC star to win. Jake Paul and Nate Diaz are finally set to throw down at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas on August 5 — where the YouTuber-turned-boxer will be looking to redeem his name after falling to the hands of Tommy Fury earlier this year. However, while the odds are in his favor, with it being Nate Diaz’s first time in the boxing ring, Drake is backing the UFC star to win, placing a huge bet on the fight. Drake bets $250k for Nate Diaz to beat Jake Paul In an August 4 Instagram story, the rapper revealed he’s placed $250k for Nate Diaz to beat Jake Paul — and the return is absolutely massive. “Jake is a dog but I can never bet against a Diaz brother that’s just how I was raised,” the story caption read. As aforementioned, it’ll be Diaz’s first stepping into a boxing ring, and despite his 22-13 record in MMA, Jake is still the favorite to win. However, if the UFC star is able to overcome the YouTuber, Drake is expecting $1.4 million in return. However, even KSI, Jake Paul’s biggest rival, is dumbfounded by the bet, claiming in a tweet that Diaz has no chance in the fight. “Why is Drake tryna lose money?” he wrote. “Hate to say it but Nate has no chance. This is his first pro boxing fight…” It isn’t the first time we’ve seen Drizzy bet on a Jake Paul bout. The rapper backed ‘The Problem Child’ to knock out Tommy Fury in their bout in February. Kai Cenat isn’t short of friends in high places. He’s had some major collabs in the streaming space with names like IShowSpeed and MrBeast. It’s not just content creators, however. He’s been in the company of mainstream celebrities like Kevin Hart and Mariah Carey too. His friends in the music industry extend to the likes of rap legend Nicki Minaj and Kai has frequently mentioned that he has Drake’s phone number to his chat. He proved the statement true in his July 23 stream when Drake sent him an unreleased track. Super Soaker features the Toronto rapper and Lil Yachty and if Cenat’s reaction is anything to go off, it’s a banger. Cenat can be seen freaking out over Super Soaker and practically bouncing off the walls after just a few seconds of the song. After playing back the full track to his viewers, the streamer gave his thoughts. “That’s the type of song this is bro,” Cenat said when asked about his initial reaction. “You gotta drop that s**t.” Some viewers on X aren’t convinced, however. In the aftermath of his historic beef with Kendrick Lamar, audiences seem less receptive to Drake. “That song will flop,” one user guaranteed. “Nothing about that song called for that reaction,” another replied. Cenat’s fans are speculating that the move is some sort of “comeback attempt” from Drake. “You ain’t gonna tootsie slide out of this one buddy. No matter how much Kai glazes you,” one put forward. “Drake is giving streamers his songs now, meh,” another user said. Others hyped Super Soaker up calling Drake “the GOAT” and claiming he was “back”. At the time of writing, the song has not hit major music streaming platforms.

Caffeine entered the broadcasting market in 2018 with what they claim is a different approach from other streaming sites: bringing in celebrities and more traditional television-type broadcasting. Before Drake hopped aboard, the platform had already signed American rappers Offset and Doja Cat, as well as Pittsburgh Steelers Wide Receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster. What will Drake do on Caffeine? According to Caffeine, Drake signed a “multi-year” contract, though they declined to specify the deal’s exact length. He’ll have his own personal channel on the platform, but Caffeine didn’t reveal how often he would be streaming, either. Instead, Drake will focus on putting his fame to use promoting the “Ultimate Rap League” on the site, which bills itself as “the biggest rap-battle league in the country.” The gist of the league is as follows: two MCs freestyle at each other back and forth, and whoever receives the highest score from the judges or the biggest crowd reactions wins, much like 8-Mile or Mad Verse City. Joining Caffeine isn’t Drake’s first experience with streaming, either: he notably joined Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins for a stream on Twitch in March of 2018, which broke the record for most concurrent viewers at a time with over 635,000 eyes on the now-historical broadcast. “I’ve always loved URL and admired what Smack and his team have been able to create, it just wasn’t easily accessible,” Drake said in a statement. “It’s exciting to be in a position where I’m able to bring Caffeine to the table and help provide URL with the tools they need to elevate the viewing experience and make it more accessible to fans.” Although it’s unlikely he’ll replicate his legendary numbers from his joint stream with Ninja on the new platform, pulling a big name like Drake could be just the thing Caffeine needs to gain some serious brand recognition.

The 15,000 square foot facility will serve as a home base for 100 Thieves various esports teams and creators when it’s completed. 100 Thieves bossed up Among the people psyched for 100 Thieves new digs was none other than Drake, who’s put a substantial amount of cash into the organization and is one of their biggest supporters. “Jeeeeeez this guy bossed up on the whole Instagram today,” Drizzy commented on Nadeshot’s video tour of the new space. Besides providing a space for esports and creators, the facility will also serve as a shop for it’s successful clothing line, whose most recent drop generated over $500,000 of revenue in under 5 minutes. 600As we mentioned earlier, Drake should probably be interested in 100 Thieves, since he was one of the first to contribute to 100 Thieves’ Series A funding round back in October 2018. Now, 100 Thieves have continued their rapid expansion with a $35 million Series B funding round and a shiny new building to go along with it. 100 Thieves’ plans for CWL franchising When asked about the possibility of seeing 100 Thieves in the upcoming city-based franchise league for Call of Duty, Nadeshot said “we’re definitely still thinking through it,” in a July 16 interview with Forbes. After winning first in two of the four major tournaments this season, 100 Thieves won the CWL events in London and Anaheim back-to-back, and are one of the favorites to win both CWL Finals and Champs – two of the biggest competitions this season. • Drake promises newlyweds a free honeymoon after they canceled theirs to see his show – Dexerto

Drake promises newlyweds a free honeymoon after they canceled theirs to see his show YouTube: Sundae ConversationDrake has blessed plenty of fans during his current tour, with his latest gift being a luxurious Island getaway for a pair of newlyweds. Drake has been on his ‘It’s All A Blur Tour’ since July when he kicked it off in Chicago. Performing with the ‘Rich Flex’ rapper is 21 Savage, as both artists are on tour to promote their 2022 album ‘Her Loss.’ Though many of this year’s summer concerts had fans throwing items on stage at the performers, Drake has decided to give something back to those at his shows— and it’s a bit more expensive than the many bras he’s had tossed at him. In fact, Drake has decided to bless a newly married couple with an entirely free honeymoon. Not only that, but he’s been giving away trips, couture bags, and cash to random concertgoers. Drake has gifted multiple people with luxurious items during his tour Drake and 21 Savage took their ‘It’s All A Blur Tour’ to Atlanta, Georgia this Monday where Drake got in his feelings after seeing a sign from one couple in the audience. When he saw what it read, Drake stopped his show to give them a shout-out, saying, “She brought a sign to the show that says ‘we canceled our honeymoon for this.’” The rapper continued, “Since we in Atlanta tonight and I’m feeling all the love from everybody — you know one of my favorite places in the world, you know what it is?“ He then proceeded to revere Turks & Caicos as his favorite destination, saying that he would be honored to send the couple who didn’t go on a honeymoon to the Island sometime after the show. As the crowd cheered heavily, Drake pointed to the couple to let his team know who he would be blessing with a free trip. However, the Island getaway isn’t the first time Drake has given something luxurious away during his concerts, as he’s given away a Chanel bag, a Birkin bag, and $50,000 to someone who sold their furniture to go to his show.

  • Drake makes $121k bet with 21 Savage and Kai Cenat in wild Twitch stream – Dexerto

Drake makes $121k bet with 21 Savage and Kai Cenat in wild Twitch stream Twitch: Kai CenatCanadian superstar rapper Drake called in to Kai Cenat’s Twitch stream to make a huge bet with Cenat and 21 Savage, the Atlanta rapper who worked alongside him to release their recent album, Her Loss. The album has been an instant hit among fans, with tracks like On BS, Rich Flex, and BackOutsideBoyz already putting up huge numbers on streaming platforms. They’ve appeared on SNL since to perform and, now they’re no longer in the studio or waiting for the album to release, have found themselves with some free time to do what they want. 21 Savage decided to take that opportunity to drop in on Kai Cenat, appearing on the stream of Twitch’s most-subscribed star, and it didn’t take long for Drake himself to FaceTime 21 Savage and get in on the stream too. After chatting a bit between the two of them, Kai told Drake that they’ll have to get him on stream at some point, and while he agreed to try to get it set up, he wanted to up the ante slightly for that stream. With 21 and Kai playing NBA 2K, Drake offered to make a $121,000 bet on their matches. “If you win, I’ll give you $121k,” he told Cenat. “But, if 21 wins, then me and you have to do something for the kids … We have to go and give back.” Kai immediately agreed to the bet, and before long the two were playing: changing teams in their best-of-3 matchup. 21 won the first match as the Boston Celtics, against Kai’s Golden State Warriors, before beating the streamer’s Milwaukee Bucks while playing as the LA Lakers. The rapper was clearly delighted with the outcome, celebrating his wins, laughing at Kai turning the game off, and moaning about losing $121k. That said, with Kai and Drake now obliged to give back to the kids, it’ll be interesting to see what they do together to make that come to life.

  • Drake makes huge Twitch demand for Kai Cenat as streamer hits 300k subscribers – Dexerto

Drake makes huge Twitch demand for Kai Cenat as streamer hits 300k subscribers Twitch: kaicenat/Wikimedia Commons: Aaron McMurtryOn February 28, Kai Cenat made internet history as he became the most subscribed-to streamer in Twitch history, surpassing the 300,000 subscriber mark and leaping ahead of Ninja and Ludwig’s records. Amid the celebrations, though, Drake made a huge demand from Twitch to make sure Kai gets paid accordingly. In the last few months, Kai has gone from just a successful streamer to one of the most popular content creators in the world. In late 2022, he was challenging to become the number one most subscribed person on the platform at the time, going toe-to-toe with and finally usurping Canadian streamer Felix ‘xQc’ Lengyel. Just a few short months later, however, he’s gone further than anyone could have possibly imagined, hitting the 300k subscriber mark during his subathon, with the entire Twitch community celebrating with him. Many streamers have said for some time now that Twitch needs to be offering Kai some serious cash to stay with the platform, amid rumored interest from rivals such as YouTube and Trainwreck’s platform, Kick. Responding to an Instagram post about the incredible achievement, Drake made it clear what he expects Twitch to do next, tagging them in a comment and saying “motivate the kids send him 50M.” Naturally, there has been a lot of chatter around Kai’s situation with Twitch, especially as rival platforms frequently seek to take the platform’s most popular streamers with big-money deals. If Twitch did offer $50m, that would be at the upper end of what Ninja was reported to have earned from his Mixer deal, and could possibly match what Adin Ross has signed with Kick, with Adin calling it “the biggest streaming deal of all time.” Kai will no doubt be having conversations with streaming platforms if he isn’t already deep into them, but what comes of it remains to be seen. Needless to say, if they did make him the highest-paid Twitch streamer of all time, it’s hard to reason against that decision.

  • Drake hangs up on iShowSpeed after hilarious call goes south while streaming – Dexerto

Drake hangs up on iShowSpeed after hilarious call goes south while streaming Instagram: ishowspeed / YouTube: DrakeIShowSpeed managed to get a hold of Drake during a February 15 stream, and while the popular rapper was happy to be there at first, things quickly went awry in typical Speed fashion. IShowSpeed has been one of the fastest-growing personalities on the internet in recent months. Whether it’s his insane antics, collabs with big stars, or his infamous ‘barking’ prank, he’s quickly become one of the biggest streamers on YouTube today. Naturally, his surging popularity has put him on the radar of a great many personalities, with Drake even on that list. After a brief back and forth in the DMs on Instagram, Speed tried his luck calling the music icon while live streaming on YouTube. To his utter shock, Drake picked up before long, answering the call with a cheesy grin. “Yo, Drake! What’s good bro?” Speed said, jumping out of his chair in excitement. “You look great right now, what’s up? What are you doing right now?” At first, the two had a wholesome interaction, with Drake even praising Speed for his recent growth online. Speed’s viewers were just as stunned, struggling to believe that Drake had actually picked up the phone, let alone praised their favorite streamer. “I’m proud of you boy,” Drake said. “Damn, this is crazy,” Speed responded. “You’ve gotta understand for me, I’m a huge fan of you.” However, the conversation shifted as the two debated who the best footballer is: “Ronaldo or Messi?” “For me, probably Ronaldo to be honest,” Drake answered. “But I know that’s probably not gonna go over well. I know it’s Messi’s moment right now, but for me, I’ve just always been a Ronaldo fan. I’m like you. “I’ve got a lot of love for you,” he added. “I’m proud of you, you’re doing your thing. I was talking about you the other day.” It’s after that string of compliments from Drake that things went in the wrong direction. Speed just couldn’t help himself from firing back a compliment of his own… but with some questionable phrasing. “Bro, your voice is so sexy,” Speed said. “How’s it so smooth like that?” Rather than responding, Drake simply ended the call. What followed was just another typical rage moment from Speed as he punched his chair and freaked out, realizing he probably won’t get the chance to speak with Drake again anytime soon. Amusingly enough, it’s not the first time a high-profile celeb has hung up on Speed. MrBeast did exactly the same just a few months prior and resulted in an equally hilarious reaction.

  • Drake is under fire for handing out $50K to fan during concert – Dexerto

Drake is under fire for handing out $50K to fan during concert INSTAGRAM: CHAMPAGNEPAPIDrake is receiving backlash after he gifted a concert goer $50,000 cash, with some users online noting how, while a kind gesture, the recipient will ultimately have to pay tax on the money and that it may be much more complicated for them than simply accepting the offering. During a recent concert, Drake went viral after he appeared to offer a fan $50,000 in cold hard cash. Drake did so after reading out a sign from that fan that revealed his girlfriend had broken up with him. “I’ma give you 50 bands, so you gon’ flex on her tonight… f*ck that young lady.” Drake, one of the most popular and renowned musicians of the generation, said. And while many thought the gesture was kind, others have taken issue with it. Noting the problems that could come from giving someone that much money. On Twitter, a user shared the clip, captioning it “Drake creates tax nightmare for total strangers.” Another user wrote, “It delights me to no end that the only people I’ve seen even talk about this story, myself included, have focused solely on the tax implications. Really drives home how well I’ve curated my feed.” Others also took issue with the fact that Drake’s gift was a showcase of his wealth and, while generous, an example of how celebrities don’t value money. “Not to mention announcing to an entire arena of people that you’re carrying $50K in cash,” wrote another Twitter user. This is not the first time the internet has taken issue with celebrities or influencers handing out large amounts of money or prizes to fans without considering such consequences. Content creator MrBeast has found himself at the center of many online debates for similar situations. After more entertainment news and updates? • Drake fires back at Andrew Tate after Canada comments – Dexerto

Drake fires back at Andrew Tate after Canada comments YouTube: Drake, PBD PodcastCanadian rap star Drake is hitting back at Andrew Tate after the controversial ‘Hustler’s University’ founder criticized Canadian men in a viral clip. Drake is coming fresh off the release of his latest album, ‘For All the Dogs’ — an album that has been met with mixed reviews from listeners thus far. However, his fans aren’t the only ones lobbying criticism toward Drizzy. The rapper, and in fact all Canadian men, caught some backlash from Andrew Tate after the former kickboxer explained why he doesn’t think Canadian guys are very manly. Tate opined on the topic during an episode of his podcast, where he mimicked a conversation between himself and a hypothetical Canadian dude. “Imagine being from Canada. Imagine saying I’m a man. ‘From where?’ ‘From Canada.’ What? That doesn’t go together. ‘What are you talking about? Wait. You’re a man? From Canada?’ Nah. Can’t be. ‘No, no, I’m a man.’ You’re not, bruv. Of course not. There’s no men in Canada. F*cking joking.” Drake hits back after Andrew Tate’s comments on Canadian men It’s clear that an ‘alpha male’ like Tate doesn’t think the guys from Canada live up to his idea of masculinity… and it doesn’t look like Drake took very kindly to his opinion on the matter. The rapper viewed a clip of Tate’s podcast on Instagram, where he responded by writing “green light” in a comment, alongside a crying laughing emoji. In popular slang, “green light” means to put out a hit on someone, or to alert people that it’s ‘open season’ on a person or group in response to some perceived slight. It’s more likely that Drake was just joking, owing to the emoji — but his offhand comment has sparked a big conversation online between Drake and Tate’s fans. This wouldn’t be the first time these two stars have interacted online, either. Earlier this year, Tate shared his thoughts on Drake’s pink nail polish, saying in a tweet: “There’s a reason I deny meeting all the famous people who try to meet me.” Thus far, it doesn’t seem as though Tate has responded to Drake’s comment, but we’ll make sure to keep you updated right here on Dexerto if he does.

Drake gifts $50,000 to a fan at his show after his girlfriend left him WikiMedia/Flickr: The Come Up ShowDrake has been applauded after gifting a heartbroken fan who had been dumped $50,000 at his show in Miami. During his ‘It’s All a Blur Tour’ stop in Miami on September 29, Drake noticed a male fan holding up a sign that revealed he recently got dumped by his girlfriend. The message on the sign, which cleverly referenced two of the rapper’s albums, read: “I spent all my savings buying tickets for me and my ex, but Honestly, Nevermind, it’s really Her Loss.” “That’s a good sign to pick tonight,” Drake said upon spotting it. “Usually I’ll do something nice for a lady. I’d do something nice, I’ll give away a bag or some sh*t like that.” He continued: “So she ain’t come with you tonight? She ain’t come with you tonight to the Drake show?! What the f**k is wrong with her? And you in here just icy with the gold chain and the sunglasses on? Aye, you know what?” Drake offers $50,000 to recently dumped fan at his show The crowd then began chanting “F**k that b*tch,” while the Canadian rapper attempted to calm them down by saying: “Alright, that’s a little aggressive.” “You know what? She’s gonna feel real f**ked up ’cause I’ma give you 50 bands so you gon’ flex on her tonight. That’s how we doing it tonight, big dog! It’s your night tonight! And I won’t say it how y’all said it, but f**k that young lady,” Drake concluded, sparking an ecstatic reaction from the fan. The moment was captured by other concert attendees and posted to TikTok, where Drizzy was praised for the generous gift. “What a lucky dude. You gotta love Drake,” one user commented. “That’s real af. Ik 50k ain’t much to him but it’s a lot for a fan who saved up for your concert,” another wrote. This isn’t the first time that the ‘Rich Flex’ hitmaker has blessed a fan during his ‘It’s All A Blur Tour.’ On Monday, Drake gifted a newly married couple a fully paid honeymoon after they canceled theirs to attend his show.

Drake fan who tossed 36G bra on stage will make content for Playboy IG: olivia.veronica.corr/champagnepapiA Drake fan who got swept up in the moment at a recent concert in New York tossed her bra on stage in a now-viral clip. The moment caught the attention of Playboy who approached the woman to make a deal. 21-year-old Veronica Correia exploded into internet stardom when she gifted Canadian Rapper Drake some undergarments mid-concert. When that hotline bling, it can only mean one thing: throw your 36G bra on stage. Whether it was luck or a case of impeccable timing, Drake was between verses and had time to speak on the event as it happened. Astounded by the size of the garment, the rapper commanded his audience to “locate this woman immediately”. The audience didn’t have to do a thing. Correia posted a TikTok confirming that she was the mystery woman. The virality of both clips prompted Playboy to reach out. The TikTok in which Correia revealed herself has garnered six million views in just three days. The cafe owner’s Instagram following has blown up to over 50K and it was there she posted screenshots of Playboy’s initial DM. “Hi Veronica!” You’re gorgeous,” Playboy opened. “We recently launched a new invitation-only Playboy app that gives creators the opportunity to earn by monetizing exclusive content similar to the ones you’re already posting on IG and TikTok. We would love to invite you to apply.” “Thank you so much. I’ve applied and cannot wait to hear back,” Correia responded almost immediately. She posted a story thanking fans for the support she’d received since the viral moment. Correia has even decided to name a drink her cafe in Rhode Island after Drake to enshrine the memory. She’s currently tossing up between “the Drizzy” or the far more on-the-nose “36G”. There’s no word on whether Drake has reached out to Correia following the incident despite his apparent eagerness to locate her. Whether the news of the Playboy deal has reached him is also unclear but we’ll be sure to report any updates.

  • Drake faces backlash after posting “creepy” Instagram story of unsuspecting woman – Dexerto

Drake faces backlash after posting “creepy” Instagram story of unsuspecting woman INSTAGRAM: CHAMPAGNEPAPIDrake has found himself in hot water after sharing a recent story on Instagram of an unsuspecting woman. The ‘Laugh Now Cry Later’ rapper is no stranger when it comes to controversies. He’s previously faced backlash for his questionable friendships with Stranger Things’ Millie Bobby Brown, and Billie Eilish, both of whom were teenagers when their friendships formed. It seems that controversies keep following Drake, who is currently on holiday in St. Tropez, as he is now catching heat after posting a seemingly disturbing photo of an unsuspecting stranger on his Instagram story. The rapper was at a restaurant, when he shared a candid zoomed-in photo to his 117 million followers, showing a blonde woman sitting at another table. The mysterious woman who caught Drake’s attention was sitting with another man and appeared to be looking down at her phone. The caption of the photo reads “Tried to airdrop this woman a pic of herself cause she’s a dime” with a laughing crying emoji. While the encounter ended there, the opinions of social media users did not. Social media users react to Drake’s Instagram story The rapper is receiving backlash on social media, as the mysterious woman seemingly had no idea she was on camera. Drake did not blur the unsuspecting woman’s face before sharing it with his massive fanbase. A screenshot of the story was posted to a Reddit forum, with the OP writing “I haven’t seen anyone talking about this, this is so unbelievably creepy (Drake posted this on his IG story).” Most users agreed, with one writing “Yes she’s beautiful but he could have kept that to himself or been a normal person and struck up a conversation instead of posting this to his Instagram where he has MILLIONS of followers who are now gonna chime in on their opinion of her.” Another user added “I hate how normalized it’s become to take photos/videos of strangers in public. It literally gives me anxiety. From a celebrity, it’s even worse because he should know better in regards to respecting privacy.” Other users shared how uncomfortable they feel about the possibility of being caught in a stranger’s photo. “I hate it. I completely understand I will likely always end up in the background of someone’s pictures or video but that’s completely different to them photographing/filming you and then having the audacity to post it online” one user wrote. Agreeing, another user wrote, “I hate it so much, especially when it’s someone clearly having a bad day, I think about it every time I pop to the shops dressed terribly”. As it stands, Drake is yet to respond to the backlash, and the uncandid photo was not taken down before it expired.

  • Drake fan goes viral interrupting concert and internet clowns him for it – Dexerto

Drake fan goes viral interrupting concert and internet clowns him for it TikTok: ThatsSoRetro/Rids.RazaA Drake fan has gone viral after rushing the stage and interrupting one of his concerts, and the internet has rightfully clowned him for doing so. Whenever a big-time artist or band rolls into town, you know pretty much right away which fans are going to do their absolute best to try and meet them – if only for a few seconds. They’ll camp out outside hotels and the venue, as well as try different restaurants to find their favorite musicians. Others, though, try and make the actual live show all about them, especially when it comes to Drake. The ‘Gods Plan’ rapper has been on his It’s All a Blur tour since July and has had plenty of female fans throw underwear at him. Some examples of that have even left the internet pretty dismayed too. However, during his September 12 show in Austin, Texas, one male fan decided to rush the stage and try to dap him up. And, well, the internet has been pretty vicious about it. Drake fan gets on stage and rapper isn’t happy about it TikTokers ThatsSoRetro and rids.raza had two of the best angles of the interruption, with their close-up clips going viral to the tune of around 1 million views at the time of writing. Both clips show the man getting on stage and making a beeline for Drake. The Canadian rapper quickly pushed the fan away before dapping him up and then making a call for security, who proceeded to pull him off stage. The unnamed fan was also dragged on social media too. “Second-hand embarrassment FR,” ThatsSoRetro said. “Bro just embarrassed himself in front of the world,” said another commenter. “I wouldn’t show my face ever again,” another commented. “Imagine getting pushed away from Drake like that LMAO. That s*it hurt me,” another added. Plenty of users have gone after the security too, allowing the fan to get so close to the rap before springing into action. Drake himself called them out for being “slow as f*ck” after it happened, but at least things ended alright. Well, for everyone but the fan who decided to make himself the center of some roastings.

Drake confuses Taylor Swift fans by posing with lookalike and no one can tell if he’s joking Instagram: champagnepapi, taylorswiftDrake has congratulated Taylor Swift on the re-release of her album Speak Now, however, he did so while posing with a Taylor lookalike, confusing fans, who can’t tell if he knew it wasn’t actually her. Swift re-recorded her third album released in 2010, Speak Now, on July 7, and Drake showed his support online. The rapper took to Instagram to post a story for the singer. However, the picture included someone else instead of Taylor – a lookalike. He wrote alongside the picture, “Congrats on the drop sis. Dialed in [sic].” Who is the Taylor Swift ‘lookalike’? The other person with Drake is Jaime Carson, who is often referred to as Swift’s lookalike, with some confusing her for the singer. Some of her fans were even confused if it was Taylor or not. One asked, “It’s not Taylor?” as another user claimed it is her and urged people to stop confusing them. Meanwhile, another tweet read, “That has to be Taylor.” Many users shared the same sentiment and went back and forth with the confusion. There were also some fans who said it cannot be Swift and that she does not look anything like her. While others were confused if Drake was joking himself or being genuine. “Drake is way too old to be doing this like why he been so shady to Taylor randomly,” said another. A fan asked if this is a joke or if he is ‘shading’ her. Jamie responds to the confusion The Taylor ‘lookalike,’ however, cleared the air and revealed that the picture was taken this morning. She tweeted clarifying, “It was just a joke he made cause I get told I look like her a lot.” Both Drake and Taylor have been good friends for a while, so there’s no reason to believe it was any sort of negative post.

  • Drake disses Dillon Danis after Logan Paul wins boxing match – Dexerto

Drake disses Dillon Danis after Logan Paul wins boxing match YouTube: Sundae Conversation, themaclifeRap star Drake dissed Dillon Danis after the fighter lost his boxing match to Logan Paul — a result the artist bet a whopping $850k on. YouTube star Logan Paul and mixed martial artist Dillon Danis’s highly-anticipated boxing match finally came to fruition on October 14. The two stars, who had been beefing for months, met in the ring to settle their differences. It was Paul who came out on top, taking the victory by DQ after Danis tried to pull off some grappling moves — which are definitely not legal in boxing. Their feud had the entire internet in a proverbial chokehold, with fans eager to see who would emerge the victor. In fact, their beef was so prolific that even Canadian rapper Drake got in on the action, betting $850k that Logan would win by KO. Drake hits back at Dillon Danis after Logan Paul win This got Paul’s fanbase worried, as Drake’s betting history has often been labeled a “curse.” For instance, Drake bet $400k on Jake Paul beating Tommy Fury earlier this year…a fight that Jake famously lost, taking the first L in his boxing career. Luckily for Drake, that didn’t happen this time around. However, Dillon Danis didn’t seem happy about Drake betting against him, writing in a tweet, “850 on my head is disrespect,” referencing Drake’s song ‘I’m Upset.’ In response, Drake uploaded what appeared to be a fancam of sorts, showing a compilation of Paul’s high-flying WWE stunts before switching to footage of Logan’s win over Danis on October 14. That’s not all; the video then switched to Drake himself, before panning over to his bet on Stake, where he famously dropped $850K on Paul — all set to his song ‘Upset,’ by the way. Whether or not Drake actually ended up winning the bet is still up in the air. Some say that Drake actually ended up losing, as Paul won by DQ and not KO; other say that Stake honors a DQ as a KO. Although Drake famously posed for a photo with Danis many years ago, it looks like he’s firmly on the Paul brothers’ side — and he isn’t afraid to show his support for the YouTube stars.

Drake embarrassed as card declined on stream trying to gift subs to Kick streamers Kick/DrakeRap icon Drake was left a bit embarrassed when his credit card was declined as he tried to hand out a few hundred gifted subs to different Kick streamers. Over the last few years, a few different streaming platforms have tried to challenge Twitch and knock the Amazon-owned off the top of the mountain. Though, while they may have carved out small pieces for themselves, they’ve not succeeded in their overall goal. Kick, the Stake-backed platform that has been a home for numerous gambling streamers, is the latest of these upstart challengers. They’ve already managed to lure a number of streamers away from Twitch, including Adin Ross and most recently BruceDropEmOff, and they also have links with a number of massive celebrities. The biggest of them is, of course, Drake. The Candian rap icon has appeared on a few streams so far because of his links to Stake. However, his last appearance didn’t exactly get off to a hot start. Drake’s card gets declined as he tries to give Kick streamers gifted subs The God’s Plan rapper jumped on stream on June 4, playing some casino games and checking out a few streamers. As he jumped from stream to stream, he came up with the idea of dropping 100 gifted subs to the different channels he had been watching. However, when he tried to give them out, his card was immediately declined, and rejected the $500 gifts. “Bro! Embarrassing,” Drizzy said in a sing-song tone, even after typing in a security code to verify the payment. The Canadian rap icon did, eventually, get to shower a number of Kick streamers with 100 gifted subs each though. Hopefully next time he decides to be generous, he doesn’t have the same little, yet embarrassing slip-up in front of thousands of viewers.

  • Drake asked to stop betting on fights after ‘jinxing’ Jake Paul & Israel Adesanya – Dexerto

Drake asked to stop betting on fights after ‘jinxing’ Jake Paul & Israel Adesanya YouTube/Drake/Instagram/JakePaulDrake is officially being asked to stop betting on fights after notoriously “cursing” some of the biggest names in the MMA and boxing world. Canadian rapper Drake has made some wild bets over the years, putting hundreds of thousands of dollars on the line, but even when the odds are in his favor, something ends up going wrong. Earlier this year, the rapper lost $400,000 betting on Jake Paul to best Tommy Furry by KO and just last week, he put $500K on Israel Adesanya beating Sean Strickland to retain the Middleweight title. He even bet on Nate Diaz to beat Jake Paul, costing him $250K. Perhaps sensing that Drake has some supernatural power when it comes to placing bets, American Top Team, an MMA gym home to Dustin Poirier, Jorge Masvidal and others officially asked Drake to cut it out and stop jinxing the outcome of matches. Drake officially asked to stop betting on fights On September 10, just a few hours after Sean Strickland defied the odds and beat the UFC 5 cover star, American Top Team posted a formal request to Drake. “Dear Mr. Drake, Please don’t bet on any of our fighters. Respectfully American Top Team,” the gym said on X, formerly known as Twitter. So far, Drake hasn’t responded to the request nor has he acknowledged it. As such, we’ll have to see if he decides to follow-up and keep from betting on fights in the future. Of course, with Jake Paul itching to get back into the ring and a rematch between Adesanya and Strickland likely in the cards, time will tell if we get a different result.

  • Drake bets $850k on Logan Paul ahead of Dillon Danis boxing match – Dexerto

Drake bets $850k on Logan Paul ahead of Dillon Danis boxing match DAZN, Sundae ConversationRap star Drake has wagered $850,000 on Logan Paul ahead of the YouTube star’s highly-anticipated match against Dillon Danis on October 14. Logan Paul vs Dillon Danis is shaping up to be one of the biggest influencer-boxing events of the year, due in no small part to the two rivals’ escalating feud. Although Danis has had beef with the Paul brothers for a number of years, he’ll finally get the chance to settle things with Paul on October 14 — and in an attempt to “sell” their fight, he’s been going after Paul’s fiance, Nina Agdal, on social media. In fact, Danis’ posts about the model became so excessive that she was granted a restraining order against him and is seeking “no less than $150,000 in damages” due to explicit photos and videos of her that he reportedly published online. It’s safe to say that interest is extremely high for this particular bout. Fans are wondering how Logan will fare in defending his fiance, while his critics are vying for Danis to “get revenge” for the victims of Paul’s Cryptozoo initiative. In fact, it looks like the fight has sparked so much interest that even major celebrities are getting in on the action — one of them being Canadian rap star Drake. Drake bets $850k in favor of Logan Paul KO’ing Dillon Danis On October 12, Drizzy posted on Instagram showing that he’d placed a massive $850k bet in favor of Logan Paul winning by knockout. “Never bet against personal vendetta and settling scores,” he wrote alongside a crying laughing emoji. Logan Paul has since responded to Drake’s bet, saying in an Instagram stories post that it was “easy money” for the ‘Fancy’ rapper. Drake isn’t alone in this prediction. In fact, Paul is the overall favorite to win, boasting a -580 favorite rating on FanDuel. This puts Paul at an implied probability of over 85% chance to take home the victory, according to experts at Oddschecker. In comparison, Danis has just an 18% implied probability to win, making him the underdog of the fight. Despite Danis having a massive fanbase backing him online, it doesn’t look like many expect him to win on October 14. This wouldn’t be the first time Drake has placed a bet in favor of the Paul brothers. In fact, Drake bet $400k on Jake Paul taking the W over Tommy Fury back in February — but unfortunately for him, Jake ended up losing the bout by split-decision. For now, only time will tell who will come out on top as the Prime Card approaches. For more information on how to tune into this highly-anticipated match, check out our hub right here on Dexerto.

  • Drake and Bobbi Althoff podcast disappears as fans speculate there is beef – Dexerto

Drake and Bobbi Althoff podcast disappears as fans speculate there is beef YouTube: Bobbi AlthoffBobbi Althoff’s viral interview with Drake has disappeared off the internet amid claims the pair have unfollowed each other on social media and appear to be beefing. Over the last couple of months, Bobbi Althoff has become a lightning rod for social media users. The podcast host, who racked up over three million followers on TikTok, has consistently posted clips throughout 2023 but there have been a number of accusations of her being an ‘industry plant’ given her success and access to big names. Those claims only further intensified when she got to interview rap superstar Drake, who notoriously doesn’t give too many interviews outside of releasing a new album. The interview, which was conducted as they lay in bed, took over social media and blew up on Youtube. However, it’s now been removed amid apparent beef between them. At least that’s how fans see it. Is the Bobbi Althoff and Drake interview deleted? That’s right, the interview between Bobbi and Drake has been removed from her channel. If you try and find it now, you’ll just be greeted with a ‘this video is unlisted’ message. It has also been removed from Spotify. Though, there are still clips floating around on Bobbi’s YouTube shorts, as well as those that were clipped by fans. On top of that, the pair appear to have unfollowed each other on Instagram around the same time that the interview was made private. Naturally, its sparked plenty of speculation online, with many claiming that the pair are beefing. A number have pointed to a video of Bobbi looking pretty stonefaced at a Drake concert as possibly being the reason why – which she posted herself. “This why everyone can’t have clout. Drake blessed her podcast and this is what she does,” said one. “This explains why she unfollowed him,” added another. “Her marketing team putting in so much work,” commented another. It’s unlikely the actual reason will surface any time soon, but if it does – and the interview returns to YouTube – we’ll have the latest on Dexerto’s Entertainment section.

  • Drake announces another esports investment to add to his 100 Thieves ownership – Dexerto

Drake announces another esports investment to add to his 100 Thieves ownership Famous Canadian rapper Drake is continuing to expand his investments in esports, after making a splash into the scene due to his joint Fortnite stream with Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins. Now, Drake is jumping into games wagering, after making a significant investment into gaming and betting site ‘Players’ Lounge.’ Players’ Lounge is a startup company that pits players against each other in a selection of 10 of popular titles, with an intriguing catch – there’s money on the line. https://playerslounge.co/The site joins up players of similar skill and rewards the winner with a cash prize, based on the money they put up for their match. While Drake’s investment amount was not disclosed, the company announced that it closed on $3 million in funding within a statement on March 28. “It’s crazy to think this all started because it was tough to fit more than five people in a New York City apartment,” Players’ Lounge CEO and Co-Founder Austin Woolridge said of the development. Woolridge’s statement likewise claimed that the company hopes to expand its gaming library in 2019, as well as adding a streaming function to broadcast the betting for a live audience. This wouldn’t be Drake’s first foray into the gaming realm, by far – the rapper made major waves in the space after streaming Fortnite with popular gamer Ninja in March of 2018, and later became a co-owner of esports team 100 Thieves in October. Entrepreneur an SB Projects founder Scooter Braun joined Drake in his 100 Thieves’ acquisition, rendering the esports org one of the most expensive in the business. According to a report by Forbes, 100 Thieves secured a total of $25 million in funding following Drake’s investment. With such a massive move on Drake’s part, onlookers can’t help but wonder what changes Players’ Lounge will receive in the near future.

Drag Race’s Trixie and Katya roast Addison Rae’s movie ‘He’s All That’ Instagram, Addison Rae. YouTube: NetflixRuPaul’s Drag Race alumni Trixie Mattel and Katya Zamalodchivoka reacted to the new Addison Rae film ‘He’s All That’ in their long-running Netflix web series “I Like to Watch”. The new movie, which stars TikTok sensation Addison Rae, came out on Netflix on August 27 and has already proved a smash hit heading to number 1 in a number of countries including the US. While it hasn’t proven the biggest critical success with only 33% on Rotten Tomatoes, some fans have already fallen in love with the film saying they’ve watched it multiple times and even praised Rae’s acting skills. However, Rae still sought to clap back at the haters asking viewers and critics to give her a chance to prove her acting skills. The film has also been roasted on TikTok for some hilarious editing mistakes. The film has now received the reaction treatment of two influential drag queens Trixie and Katya who host the hit Netflix YouTube series “I Like To Watch”. The video has seemingly been endorsed by Rae too who liked the video on her Twitter. Rae has also been thanking fans for watching the film saying on Instagram “having my first movie out is still so surreal, it’s hard to even process it.” In the clip, they roast Kourtney Kardashian’s acting skills describing it as so “wooden”. They also made fun of various plot points including one scene where Rae’s character Padgett Sawyer and Tanner Buchanan’s Cameron Kweller throw horse manure at each other. The basic premise of the series is the two queens hilariously reacting and roasting new Netflix content with videos often getting millions of views. Often they joke about their own lives in the process and how that relates to events in the film. One funny moment in the video comes during a romantic scene between the two leads Sawyer and Kweller in a photography room. Buchanan’s character Kweller proceeds to take Sawyer’s eyelashes off which enrages the two drag queens. Mattel joked that if someone tried to do that to him, “he would keep pulling and they wouldn’t come off. They also poke fun at the wig that Buchanan wears in the film, some mucus special effects, as well as the fact the film’s antisociable character Kweller is attractive. Mattel says that “if he’s gorgeous, I’m flipping the table” and continues saying she wants “a bulging eye, a humpback. I want missing front teeth”. Trixie and Katya, who have nearly 5 million followers on Instagram between them, aren’t the only big RuPaul’s Drag Race name’s on social media. A number of the queens from the upcoming UK version of the series are on TikTok.

In April, Li was livid as Universal muted his music on YouTube. Neither Li nor Twitch have elaborated on why the ban has taken place. No matter the reason though, this news comes will come as a shock to both Li and his fans, especially when he addressed the Twitch ban situation directly on stream back in June, reassuring other streamers that using his band’s music would not result in a DMCA strike. Li stated that: “We know all these crazy things are happening on Twitch, people getting banned, people getting taken down, DMCA, I can tell you, you can play any song from the latest DragonForce album, Extreme Power Metal, and you will not get a strike. I assure you, you will be ok. In September, TikToker Austin Wallace went viral after being rejected by YouTube star Logan Paul when asking for a job at the Jake Paul vs Tyron Woodley fight. Wallace quit his $100k per year welding job to chase his dream of being internet famous. As a fan of the Paul brothers, the TikToker hoped for help and guidance from them, but it didn’t work out as he desired. • PewDiePie FINALLY got Dr. Phil to host Meme Review and it’s absolutely epic – Dexerto

PewDiePie FINALLY got Dr. Phil to host Meme Review and it’s absolutely epic PewDiePieAlthough YouTube king Felix “PewDiePie” Kjellberg has become a self-proclaimed “Minecraft channel,” the Swede has finally brought back his fan-favorite show “Meme Review” – this time featuring a celebrity guest in the form of the one and only Dr. Phil! After months of PewDiePie joking about the idea in his various shows, which include everything from LWIAY to Pew News, reality television host and psychologist Dr. Phil finally made an appearance on Meme Review on August 15, bringing with him some hilarious moments that are sure to make for even more memes in the future. Dr. Phil appears on Meme Review The celebrity host reacted to a slew of memes featuring himself, including the famed photo of himself staring at a floating water bottle, stating, “Look at that stare. Dumbledore who? …you can be bald and be a wizard.” (Segment begins at 10:15) Dr. Phil’s hilarious social awareness made for an entertaining segment that saw him reference a number of PewDiePie-related quips and jokes, even mentioning that the artist of one photo should go “to the ranch.” The popular TV host ended his segment by encouraging viewers to subscribe to both PewDiePie and his own YouTube channel – a suggestion that could very well see a major upswing in subscribers for Dr. Phil considering the strength of the “nine-year-old army” – the name given to Pewds’ supporters during the battle against T-Series for the top spot on YouTube that lasted a number of months before PewDiePie eventually lost his status as the most subscribed channel on the Goolge-owned video sharing platform. The man the myth the legend did it: https://t.co/0vZTyoDIdF@DrPhil :lovestruck: — ƿ૯ωძɿ૯ƿɿ૯ (@pewdiepie) August 15, 2019 PewDiePie himself seemed delighted that Dr. Phil was able to collaborate on the project, excitedly clapping his hands and exclaiming: “Yay, it finally happened!” Meme Review and celebrity hosts This wouldn’t be the first celebrity guest PewDiePie has featured on “Meme Review,” by far: in fact, political commentator Ben Shapiro hosted the show in November 2018, after similar jokes were made in regards to his appearance on the segment. Tech millionaire and Tesla CEO Elon Musk likewise appeared on “Meme Review” in February 2019, co-starring with “Rick and Morty” co-creator Justin Roiland in a gut-busting segment that quickly went viral across the internet. However, not every celebrity guest that PewDiePie asked for has been able to host the show: American rapper Tekashi69 was unfortunately unable to appear on “Meme Review” in 2018 due to his highly-publicized prison time. PewDiePie’s hunt for 100 million YouTube subs PewDiePie’s latest star-studded “Meme Review” episode follows on from him finally breaking the 99 million subscribers mark in mid-August, which takes him one step closer to his lofty goal of 100 million subscribers in wake of his viral success with Minecraft content. With Pewds’ continued success on YouTube with just about anything he chooses to post, it seems only a matter of time before the Swedish superstar becomes the first YouTuber to break the incredible 100 million subscribers mark. The fact that the only channel to have beaten him to that goal is T-Series, a massive corporation that posts multiple videos each day, only makes his achievement more impressive.

Lupo addressed the debacle in a hilarious series of Tweets on November 30, humorously claiming that Banks doesn’t pay his players and insinuating that Tfue was only able to subscribe to his channel due to a gifted subscription. “Alright Banks, will you please actually pay your players?” Lupo wrote facetiously. “Tfue was just gifted his first month sub to my channel, like wtf.” Alright @Banks, will you please actually pay your players@TTfue was just gifted his first month sub to my channel, like wtf — DrLupo (@DrLupo) November 30, 2018 Tfue took the trolling in good spirits, responding with a gif of a crying rabbit from a classic cartoon, as if to poke fun at FaZe. Lupo wasn’t done roasting the org, however: he followed up his ‘callout post’ with another Tweet, asking popular streamer and former OpTic Gaming streamer Jack ‘CouRage’ Dunlop to gift even more subscriptions due to the allegedly ‘sad’ nature of FaZe’s financials. “This is so sad,” Lupo said in response to Tfue’s gif. “CouRage, can we get 5 gifted subs, please?” While FaZe Banks and CouRage have yet to respond to Lupo’s trolling, the internet has since given their two cents on the jokes – with one commenter insinuating that Tfue hadn’t subscribed because he didn’t appreciate Lupo’s content. “He didn’t sub to you because he doesn’t like your content,” one user wrote. “No one does.” https://www.redbull.com/us-en/fortnite-battle-royale-drlupo-twitch Lupo responded to the comment in kind, replying with, “Hahahah, you are so mad.” Although Lupo’s comments clearly come from a place of self-deprecating humor, some spectators didn’t appear to get the message.

  • Dr Lupo questions Twitch streamers choosing not to run ads: “It’s a weird flex” – Dexerto

Dr Lupo questions Twitch streamers choosing not to run ads: “It’s a weird flex” YouTube: DrLupoYouTube streamer Ben ‘DrLupo’ Lupo has taken aim at Twitch creators refusing to run ads on their channel amid recent debate over the platform’s monetization policies. As Twitch pushes to become more profitable, the platform has implemented many creator revenue changes over the years. Notably, the Amazon-owned platform recently denied requests for the 70/30 revenue sub split to become the standard, rather than it being exclusive for the top creators on the site. After noting the high overhead costs to keep the site running, Twitch has pushed for creators to run more ads through their incentives program. However, streamers are still reluctant to run ads, and now YouTube streamer Dr Lupo has hit out at the creators for not doing their jobs. Dr Lupo slams Twitch streamers not running ads In a YouTube video on October 21, the former Twitch streamer, who left the platform to join YouTube in September 2021, discussed the new ad incentives. “Here’s what it comes down to chat. Twitch is a business. I think we can all agree businesses are trying to be profitable,” said Dr Lupo. “If they’re not profitable for a long enough time, the business stops existing. “At the end of the day, Twitch is gonna try to make as much money to stay alive. For example, look at G4, literally just announced its second closure,” he added. “So you see streamers that are posting these big numbers that are life ‘I’m not gonna run ads because I care about my community.’ It’s a weird flex to say look at this money I could’ve had and I’m not doing it because I love you. You’re at your job. Part of your job is to try and help keep your platform alive too.” He continued, explaining that if Twitch can turn a profit, then maybe the platform will eventually consider higher revenue splits. But till then, all streamers on Twitch need to put in the effort to help keep the site afloat.

  • DrLupo explains why CouRage’s YouTube move is “good” for him – Dexerto

DrLupo explains why CouRage’s YouTube move is “good” for him Twitch star Benjamin ‘DrLupo‘ Lupo defended Jack ‘CouRage‘ Dunlop’s move to YouTube, and explained why making platform change deals are actually “smart to do” for streamers. The streaming landscape shifted after Tyler ‘Ninja‘ Blevins and former CSGO pro Michael ‘shroud‘ Grzesiek shocked everyone by leaving Twitch for its competitor Mixer. On November 4, 100 Thieves star CouRage announced he was taking a different path by going to YouTube for exclusive streaming. This left everyone speculating who the next big streaming personality could be to jump ship from the Amazon-owned streaming platform, and during his latest broadcast, DrLupo addressed all the platform changes currently happening among his peers, and explained why it actually makes sense for streamers to sign these deals. DrLupo defends CouRage’s move to YouTube The Twitch star was streaming Fortnite when someone in his chat criticized CouRage’s move to YouTube, writing “I reserve the right to not watch him.” Upon seeing this, DrLupo replied, “That’s fine. But like, the only thing that it means is that people are getting paid for their ability to create content. And that’s good. Right?” He then went on to explain further why it could only be seen as a positive thing. “You want people to make money if you like them. That’s why people give streamers money. Right? There should be nothing but love, man. You don’t have to watch him if you don’t want to do that platform. We are all just trying to pay our bills!” DrLupo went on to further defend the 100 Thieves streamer, and explained to his audience how the move is actually good for him. “Jack’s young. Success it looks great on him thus far. He’s never done anything. He’s not scummy!” The popular Twitch personality finished his wholesome defense of the platform move, by exclaiming “So, good for him. Get that money, dude. Get that money!” He also opened up and gave his thoughts on other streamers making platform change moves. “I’m still waiting for somebody that makes a platform change to come out and be like “I did it because it was a lot of money and that’s smart to do!” The Twitch star then explained how most streamers are still afraid to be entirely honest with their audience about making an exclusive deal. “Everybody still scared to say it. Everyone is still afraid to say it. There is nothing bad about it!” he exclaimed. As of the time of writing this article, DrLupo continues to be one of the most popular streamers on Twitch with over 3.6 million followers, and averages thousands of viewers a broadcast. Only time will tell if the lovable personality will take his own advice and make the move to Mixer – should he be offered a “gang load” of cash to do so.

  • Dr Lupo expresses disappointment at fans who ruined impromptu fan meeting – Dexerto

Dr Lupo expresses disappointment at fans who ruined impromptu fan meeting Popular streamer Ben ‘DrLupo’ Lupo has expressed his disappointment at a group of kids who caused trouble when he met some lucky fans while having a night out with his family. Lupo took to Twitter to thank everyone who said hi to him, apart from a group of kids who threw food at members of his family. “Big thank you to everyone I met at Vala’s today, except for the group of kids who threw junk at my wife and son from above after I took time to take pictures with you,” stated the veteran streamer. DrLupo was clearly not impressed with the behavior of these individuals, continuing: “You threw corn bits and trash at a 3 year old and his mother. Just let that sink in.” Read More: xQc is having issues with stream donations – Fans of the streamer agreed with Lupo, posting some labeling the actions as “unacceptable behavior,” while others deemed it to be “disrespectful” and “disgusting.” Big thank you to everyone I met today at Vala’s today, except for the group of kids who threw junk at my wife and son from above after I took time to take pictures with you. You threw corn bits and trash at a 3 year old and his mother. Just let that sink in. — DrLupo (@DrLupoOnTwitch) October 18, 2018 DrLupo became a huge star on Twitch in 2018 when he picked up Fortnite Battle Royale, and recently hit a major milestone on YouTube when he passed the one million subscriber mark back in September 2018. • DrLupo and Cloak try to trigger Ninja by mocking his real first name – Dexerto

DrLupo and Cloak try to trigger Ninja by mocking his real first name Unknown to some, Twitch giant Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins actually uses his middle name as his ‘first’ name, and doesn’t take kindly to having his real first name used – as DrLupo and Cloak proved. What is Ninja’s real first name? Ninja has previously revealed that while his first name is actually Richard, with Tyler only his middle name, he doesn’t like being called that. That trigger provided the perfect ammunition for fellow streamer Ben ‘Fortnite player Dennis ‘Cloak’ Lepore. DrLupo tries to trigger Ninja The Fortnite streamer had been streaming alongside Cloak, Paul ‘ActionJaxonbtw’ and DrLupo as they looked to wreak havoc on unsuspecting public match players. Things, however, took a twist when Ninja seemingly forgot Cloak’s actual first name – referring to him only by his online persona when his fellow streamers began calling his Dennis. For that, the Twitch giant came under fire, as his pals all started using each other’s first names – something which is a little tricky for Ninja considering he goes by his middle name, Tyler, instead. “It’s Dick,” stated DrLupo, as ActionJaxonbtw tried to guess Ninja’s real name. With the two streamers then repeating Dick over and over, Ninja chimed in with: “It’s not. My first name is not Dick.” ‘Dick’ is common shortened version of Richard, but it’s easy to see why somebody of Ninja’s standing would probably rather not have the name ‘Dick’ used to refer to him. That, however, didn’t stop his pals teasing him as they tried their utmost to prompt a response from Ninja, despite his best efforts to maintain focus on the game. The popular streamer hit his breaking point after being referred to as ‘Dick’ during a tense firefight at Tilted Town. “It’s RICHARD!” Ninja roared as DrLupo jokingly continued to repeat Dick over and over. With his mission to trigger Ninja, again, complete, DrLupo began laughing at his friends loud and abrupt response. It took a few moments to die down but everyone ultimately returned to calling each other by the names that they actually like to be called. Ninja’s name might legally be Richard, yet it doesn’t seem like the best of ideas to actually call him that. Sticking to Ninja or Tyler, in the future, is probably best.

  • Dr Lupo destroys Ninja, TimTheTatMan and Trevor May in Roast Battle – Dexerto

Dr Lupo destroys Ninja, TimTheTatMan and Trevor May in Roast Battle DrLupo, Ninja and TimTheTatman took to the stage at TwitchCon 2018 for the ‘Roast of TimTheTatman’, although it ended up just being a roast of everyone on the panel. DrLupo, usually the more reserved of the group, suddenly become the most savage, ruthlessly roasting everyone on the panel, having prepared some nasty insults. There was no holding back either, as he took on Twins baseballer and part time streamer Trevor May, saying not only is TimTheTatman a better streamer, he also sells more jerseys than him! Things really began to heat up when DrLupo turned his attention to long time collaborator Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins, the most popular streamer on Twitch. Roasting his dyed hair, his given name and, best of all, the age demographic of Ninja’s subscribers. “A lot of the people here in front of us are our viewers, which is what amazes me Tyler that you’re up here, because most of your viewers are outside because of the age restriction.” DrLupo did eventually focus on the main purpose of the show, roasting TimTheTatman. Starting with ridiculous comparisons of where you might see someone like Tim, including “the rejected member of a lesbian biker gang,” or a “public service announcement about why you should stay in school.” More: Doritos Bowl Blackout TwitchCon tournament ft Ninja, Shroud, CouRage, DrLupo – Results, schedule, format, teams, and more – It was all in jest of course, and Lupo was sure to slip in a “love you Tim”, before finally ceasing fire, to which Tim responds “Do you?!” – clearly shaken by the onslaught of insults he just endured. • Dr. Kenny Smiles controversy explained: TikTok dentist accused of inappropriate conduct – Dexerto

Dr. Kenny Smiles controversy explained: TikTok dentist accused of inappropriate conduct Unsplash: Colourblind Kevin / TikTok: DrkennysmilesA popular dentist on TikTok, Dr. Kenny Smiles has had numerous accusations made against him alleging sexual harassment and predatory behavior. Here is everything we know. Social media has changed the way businesses market themselves, allowing for new avenues of advertisement and ways to engage with customers. In this day and age, social media is considered a vital tool for attracting customers, getting feedback, and networking successful relationships — professional relationships, that is. One dentist, however, has been accused of using his position of power to act “predatory” toward women and send inappropriate messages to potential clients. And that dentist is none other than TikTok-famous Dr. Kenny Smiles. Who is Dr. Kenny Smiles on TikTok? Kenneth Wilstead, who goes by Dr. Kenny Smiles online, is a TikTok-famous dentist located in Texas. Self-described as a “politically incorrect dentist”, he has gained a large following online where he frequently shares “smile makeovers” and is known for his brazen sense of humor. With over 720,000 followers on TikTok alone, Kenneth recently announced on August 31 that he was holding open auditions for his new upcoming show. However, the callout has sparked a wave of accusations against the dentist as women have come forward to share their experiences with Kenneth and voice concern over his treatment of female patients. What has Dr. Kenny Smiles been accused of? Multiple women have come forward with claims Kenneth acted inappropriately and unprofessionally when they sought his help for dental care. These claims have included a variety of DMs allegedly sent from Kenneth, including one instance in which he told a woman that clothes were “optional” after requesting photos of her teeth and another where he asked an 18-year-old for “nudes” as a joke. One TikToker, Bekah Day, has dedicated her account to sharing these stories of Kenneth’s alleged “victims”, posting screenshots sent to her as “proof”. Is there a lawsuit against Dr. Kenny Smiles? NBC reported that just last year a former patient of Kenneth’s sued him after alleging that he touched her inappropriately. The case is still ongoing, with a jury trial scheduled according to a 14th District Court docket. Kenneth has been adamant in denying the allegations made against him, telling the network he is “totally innocent of any inappropriate touching of that woman.” In terms of the online accusations made against him and the screenshots providing alleged evidence, Kenneth told NBC that he believes the situation has been “blown up” out of proportion. “The character I play both online and in my office has been something I have used to break the tension of a stressful experience,” he said. “Unfortunately, sometimes people who don’t have full context feel like I [crossed] the line and it’s their right to have their own opinions.” As of now, Kenneth remains under investigation for misconduct. • Dr Disrespect’s YouTube-Facebook simulcast was so laggy he started arguing with himself – Dexerto

Dr Disrespect’s YouTube-Facebook simulcast was so laggy he started arguing with himself YouTube/Dr DisrespectDr Disrespect’s first YouTube-Facebook multi-stream was quite the spectacle, giving fans a new way to watch the two-time, but it didn’t exactly go flawlessly. Despite Doc settling his court case with Twitch for his mysterious ban in the summer of 2020, he’s still finding opportunities to take aim at the Amazon-owned platform. In an attempt to mock Twitch’s new streaming rules for partners that allows them to multi-stream to Instagram or TikTok, but not YouTube or Facebook, the 6’8 freak of nature decided to show the world how it was done. On August 25, before the YouTuber jumped into a game of Warzone, he loaded up both of his streams and the result was certainly meta to say the least, no pun intended. Dr Disrespect argues with himself in lag-filled multi-stream After putting both of his streams on his own screen, the two-time created a gateway into the past where he could communicate with his younger self. “We’re about to go through a vortex, aren’t we, Doc?” the banned Twitch star pondered. “Let’s get something started. You ready?” To begin, the sniper extraordinaire began practicing his singing ability, but things soon devolved into the streamer taking issue with his own ability and the result was multiple Dr Disrespects fighting with one another. “Let me finish, hold on, let me finish!” he cried, only for his words to be repeated back to him. “No, let me finish!” another exclaimed amidst the mind-numbing screaming in the background. “I agree.” Eventually, the real Doc just got fed up, proclaimed “I think I’m done” and walked off screen for a bit with the others following suit. It was certainly quite the wild incident and one that made Doc suggest putting a pinned message on Facebook alerting The Champions Club about freezing and stuttering on the broadcast. Hopefully, if Doc plans more of these broadcasts, they can be even more successful and we end up seeing the two-time on even more platforms live at the exact same time.

  • Dr K praises Asmongold’s “authentic” no-show for best MMO streamer award – Dexerto

Dr K praises Asmongold’s “authentic” no-show for best MMO streamer award YouTube/QTCinderella/Twitch/DrkPsychiatrist and Twitch streamer Dr. Alok Kanojia, otherwise known as his handle ‘Dr K’, spoke in support of The Streamer Awards and praised Asmongold’s speech for being totally “epic.” The Streamer Awards, organized by Twitch star QTCinderella, brought many of the biggest names on the platform together for a fun night to celebrate success in their industry. The event was a massive hit on the site and has since begun trending on YouTube following the spectacle’s upload. Now, Dr K has chimed in on the event and paid special attention to how “authentic” Asmongold winning best MMO streamer was. Dr K amazed by Asmongold’s Streamer Awards speech On March 14, Dr K was asked for his thoughts on the event and took it upon himself to offer some major praise to everyone who attended. “It had a very high production value and yet stayed incredibly authentic,” he explained. “Speeches felt so in-line with who the people were. I thought it was epic that [Asmongold] didn’t show up.” According to Dr K, he felt it was awesome that Asmongold didn’t have to physically be there, joking that it made sense given he won best MMO streamer. (segment begins at 13:24 for mobile users) “That’s so authentic to who we are,” he beamed. For his part, Asmongold’s speech really played into the fact he was an MMO player, appearing from his home with fast food beverages littered across his desk. He also joked that he deserved the award because he refused to accept it in person as it would require him to leave his house. Given the overwhelming success of its first iteration, we can’t wait to see what QTCinderella has in store for the event in 2023 and beyond.

  • Dr Disrespect’s unusual Christmas card features a family full of… Docs? – Dexerto

Dr Disrespect’s unusual Christmas card features a family full of… Docs? Superstar Twitch streamer Dr Disrespect wished his fans and followers a Merry Christmas the only way he knows how – with an out-of-the-box family Christmas card befitting his eccentric persona. With the holiday season in full swing and Christmas Day having finally arrived, many of the top streamers and content creators of the online gaming world have been sending best wishes to their fans. Some have been posting heartwarming thankful messages, others inspirational ones, but when it comes to Dr Disrespect, even his Christmas wishes are out of the ordinary. On the morning of the 25th, the Two-Time posted what, at first glance, looked like a typical family card, featuring him sitting with his wife and daughter in front of a Christmas tree with the words ‘MERRY CHRISTMAS’ emblazoned across. However, this was no ordinary Christmas card by any stretch of the imagination, as the faces of everyone in the picture were replaced with Doc’s face, which makes the tweet’s caption ‘Feliz NaviDOC’ make a lot more sense. Not to mention, there is a second Doc shown in the background, adding to the overall peculiarity of the image. A family of… Docs? When looking past the unusual nature of the card, it’s actually quite hilarious how everyone in the family is sporting the Two-Time’s iconic reflective sunglasses and steely black mustache, which his known as ‘Slick Daddy,’ and ‘The Poisonous Ethiopian Caterpillar.’ One might argue that this is just a way for the Doc to protect his family’s identity, but they’ve both shown their faces on stream before. His wife sometimes appears in her ‘Mrs. Assassin’ character while he’s live, often wielding a blade of sorts to silence him. His daughter, who the viewers know as ‘Baby Disrespect,’ has also made several appearances on his channel, and just like her father she’s already mastered the art of acting her role in front of a live audience. Dr Disrespect’s inspirational Christmas message The Christmas card wasn’t the only thing that the Doc tweeted out on December 25. He followed it up with a clip from one of his streams in which he goes on a powerfully monologue inspiring his viewers to try and change their lives for the better. “Don’t be pathetically skinny your whole life,” he wrote. “We both can agree, it’s time for a change.” https://twitter.com/drdisrespect/status/1209935019721949184 It’s not clear how long of a break the Two-Time will be taking from streaming for the holidays, or if he’s even taking any kind of vacation at all. In the meantime, Feliz NaviDOC!

  • Dr Disrespect’s upcoming battle royale leaked? Two-time reveals new game details – Dexerto

Dr Disrespect’s upcoming battle royale leaked? Two-time reveals new game details YouTube/Dr DisrespectLegendary streamer Dr Disrespect teased two upcoming games that his studio is working on, explaining how they will bring his signature violence, speed and momentum to new heights. Dr Disrespect is one of the industry’s biggest names. A former level designer himself, the two-time has since started his own studio and there are some big things in the works. While not much is known so far, other than the fact he’s working on a “vertical battle royale”of sorts, during a November 30 YouTube stream, the 6’6 gaming juggernaut revealed some new info. Let’s just say that whatever these games are, there are some combinations that could come together like peanut butter and chocolate if done right. (Segment begins at 4:27:45 for mobile users) Doc teases “explosive” new games “I have an idea for a game at a fast pace with a lot of inspiration from H1Z1 and Call of Duty, with all the games that I’ve played up to this point. You gather all these ideas and what hasn’t been done and what’s the next evolution,” he explained. According to Doc, there is an opportunity to do something unique and give players something they’ve been wanting for a long time. “Something explosive, fast. Something full of violence, speed and momentum, right? Jumping out of a car, boom, boom, boom. Jumping in. We’re flying around. Like it’s just…” he added, snapping his fingers. “But on a bigger scale. There’s not a lot of games that are like that right now.” Given his talk of vehicles and ‘large scale’ action, his game sounds like it could be a combination of Warzone with Battlefield’s potential for nonstop destruction. However, Doc stressed the last time we saw something like this was with H1Z1. Additionally, Doc hinted at an Escape from Tarkov style game which would be on the “other end” of the spectrum, commenting how there was something about “that slower-paced risk-reward that is so immersive.” “I think there is a chance to capture that on a larger scale as well,” he noted. Dr Disrespect working crypto and NFT’s into his upcoming game for players and creators to “”have equity in the project”” 🤔 pic.twitter.com/hlnTXqcixi — Wicked Good Gaming (@WickedGoodGames) August 25, 2021 Was Dr Disrespect’s game leaked? Earlier in November, notable insider Tom Henderson revealed that previous Halo and CoD devs were working on an NFT-based FPS similar to Escape from Tarkov. Henderson noted that “top FPS influencers” were advising on the game and would have a very big risk-reward aspect. So essentially, the game is Escape From Tarkov with competitive elements, a map creator, and the ability to make money from extracting items successfully. The rarer and better the item = the more crypto you can sell and money you can make. — Tom Henderson (@_Tom_Henderson_) November 8, 2021 Previously in August, Doc himself even revealed that his upcoming game would involve NFTs and crypto for creators to “have equity in the project.” If the two projects are one and the same, and Henderson’s info is right, expect an announcement to come, potentially even at The Game Awards in December.
