Elon Musk leaves ominous message after blacking out his Twitter account Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk indicated he was leaving Twitter, after saying he isn’t sure about the platform anymore. Elon Musk, who currently boasts over 29 Twitter followers, announced he was “going offline” on the platform as he said he wasn’t sure about the “good of Twitter,” while mentioning that he thinks Reddit still seems okay. He didn’t delete his account entirely, but he did replace his profile picture with a black image. This led many fans to wonder if he’s actually serious about leaving Twitter. It would be a big deal if he never came back since he’s leaving behind such a large audience and has actually created a lot of fans in the meme community. Elon Musk’s popularity has grown so much outside of SpaceX that he was able to crossover into the world of PewDiePie and even host an episode of Meme Review. Musk isn’t leaving social media altogether, and it’s entirely possible he won’t even be gone for long. Since he mentioned he has no problems with Reddit as of yet, we can expect to still see him active and interacting with people there. He would leave far too big of a void if he were to leave social media entirely so it’s good to see him at least stick around on one platform. Since his account isn’t deleted on Twitter, it does leave the door open for a return in the future. Social media criticism has been pushed to the forefront as Facebook’s creator Mark Zuckerberg has come under fire for his handling of privacy and ads on Facebook. On October 30, Twitter announced it would be pulling all political ads from the platform as a way to distance themselves from the controversy. While Elon Musk didn’t go into great detail about his departure from Twitter, the timing could be tied to Twitter’s advertising decision. Time will tell if he ever returns to the platform.

Elon Musk responds to David Dobrik’s epic ‘flying’ Tesla stunt – Dexerto
Elon Musk responds to David Dobrik’s epic ‘flying’ Tesla stunt PewDiePie/David Dobrik (YouTube)SpaceX and Tesla CEO, Elon Musk, was left in disbelief after YouTube star David Dobrik pulled a stunt with his Model X that sent it flying over a speed bump in a Los Angeles suburb. David Dobrik’s popularity on YouTube and social media has snowballed of-late. Mostly known for his generosity and comedic antics, millions tune-in to his vlogs in a bid to keep-up with his crazy lifestyle. Dobrik often rolls around in his Model X as the designated driver for the Vlog Squad, but in his January 28 upload, he put Elon Musk’s flagship car to the test. The flying Tesla challenge? After watching Instagram stars, josh_ofthe_jungle and nickpasquale1919, fly over a speed bump on their motorbikes, the 23-year-old was urged not to let them mimic their efforts in David’s Tesla by Suzy. Despite being warned off, David allowed the pair to ramp his vehicle over a speed bump as Suzy, Natalie and Jason watched on in disbelief. Elon’s reaction says it all… David’s escapade caught the attention of Elon Musk on Twitter, who simply responded with an exclamation mark, to signal his utter surprise. The 23-year-old YouTube sensation responded with: “Does this mean my warranty is cancelled?” in a witty clap, sent back to the shocked Tesla CEO. Does this mean my warranty is cancelled https://t.co/Ez3IHEaOVx — DAVID DOBRIK (@DavidDobrik) January 28, 2020 Dobrik casually went on to gift $10,000 to one lucky college student, alongside $25,000 to his Suzy’s Mom for her birthday. While Elon might not have been too impressed with David’s impromptu Tesla stunt, it will have done wonders for advertising the Model X’s safety features. Considering the takeoff and landing, perhaps it could even give SpaceX’s Starship a run for its money?

Elon Musk loves The Witcher so much he wants to play it in his Tesla – Dexerto
Elon Musk loves The Witcher so much he wants to play it in his Tesla Flickr: Corevette / CD Projekt RedTesla CEO Elon Musk has remarkably opened up the possibility of Tesla owners being able to play The Witcher in their cars at some stage in the future. Musk and the Tesla brand are constantly looking for ways to innovate their technology and bring something new to their high-end vehicles. As a fan of gaming, though, Musk is clearly looking for a way to bring one of his hobbies to his job – and it seems his love of The Witcher may be driving his desire to merge the two. Posting late in the day on January 21, Elon Musk clearly had The Witcher on his mind again, having frequently shared his love for the Netflix exclusive TV show on social media. He decided to run a poll for his 30 million followers, asking people if they “want to play the Witcher game on your Tesla,” probably speaking about The Witcher 3 which became a huge hit among gamers upon its release in 2015. Keeping his poll options Witcher-themed, Musk allowed followers to vote “Yes [tosses coin]” or “No, I have the plague.” Want to play The Witcher game on your Tesla? (you can already watch the show on Tesla Netflix theater) — Elon Musk (@elonmusk) January 22, 2020 At the time of writing, there are still 20 hours left on the poll but it seems to have already been decided. With 85% of participants approving of the idea, it seems that players definitely want The Witcher to be playable in their Tesla. As Musk points out, it is already possible to watch The Witcher in Tesla’s Netflix theater, so even if the game never gets added, fans can still get their Witcher fix by other means when they’re cruising in one of the most sought-after cars available today. While a lot of people are joking about the idea in the replies, some have actually requested other games, asking whether they might be able to get Fortnite and Minecraft on there, too. And if there’s one person that can probably make it happen, Elon Musk is probably the right guy to ask.

Elon Musk and Jack Dorsey become top donators to Mr Beast’s tree project – Dexerto
Elon Musk and Jack Dorsey become top donators to Mr Beast’s tree project YouTuber Jimmy ‘MrBeast‘ Donaldson’s quest of planting 20 million trees has been given a significant boost as both Elon Musk and Jack Dorsey pledged a massive donation to the cause. MrBeast unveiled his project on October 25 using his official YouTube channel, which has over 25 million subscribers, and has since racked up a number of donations online to help out. First asking about the plans just three days after it started, Musk pledged to help plant an astonishing amount of trees and has since done just that. MrBeast has been keeping his fans updated by sharing the largest donations on his Twitter account, revealing that two major donations have taken up the top spots on his chart – one from the Tesla and SpaceX CEO and another from Twitter founder Jack Dorsey. Musk’s donation has allowed the project to plant one million trees on his behalf, the largest contribution recorded by the YouTuber so far, with Dorsey helping plant an additional 150,000 trees. The CEO of Twitter just planted 150,000 trees!!!!! AM I DREAMING?? :lovestruck::lovestruck::lovestruck: :)))))) pic.twitter.com/8CrSQlCvIr — MrBeast (@MrBeastYT) October 30, 2019 While MrBeast is aware that the project will not prevent climate change, he and his funding partner – Arbor Day Foundation – are committed to reaching their 20 million tree goal and with this sort of mainstream coverage, there’s no doubt that they are moving in the right direction to achieve it. Read More: Top 10 PewDiePie Minecraft moments so far – The YouTuber has confirmed that all trees planted will be native to the areas in which they are placed, spanning over all continents except Antarctica. He also noticed that the movement has forced a name change for Elon Musk on Twitter, with “Treelon” appearing on his profile instead. Despite the positive work being done for the tree planting cause, the efforts have faced some criticism along the way, with detractors claiming that he won’t be able to solve climate change problems by doing just this. In response, he sent out a tweet on October 27. He said: “Just to be clear we all realize 20 million trees won’t fix climate change. But at the end of the day 20 million more trees is better than 0! We want to take action because doing nothing is how we got here!” With the popularity of the project surging, some fans have been suggesting the likes of Amazon’s Jeff Bezos could be the next businessman to make a donation. Whether he does we’ll have to wait and see. They hope to have planted all 20 million trees by January 1, 2020.

Elon Musk Jet tracker jumps to Mastodon after Twitter ban – Dexerto
Elon Musk Jet tracker jumps to Mastodon after Twitter ban Mastodon/Twitter: ElonJetThe infamous account tracking Elon Musk’s private jet has made its way over to Mastodon following the account being suspended on Twitter. Just days after taking over as sole owner of Twitter, Elon Musk went on record saying that his commitment to free speech on the app “extends to not banning the account following my plane.” Despite claiming its existence is a “direct personal safety risk,” the account maintained its presence for over a month. In the early morning of December 14, users began noticing that the account had officially been suspended, but has already made its way over to Mastodon. Elon Musk Jet tracker jumps to Mastodon after Twitter ban Since Musk’s acquisition of Twitter, an increasing number of users have decided to leave the platform entirely, with some finding home on a variety of websites Mastodon is among the most popular of those sites, amassing millions of new users since October 27. Just hours after being banned on Twitter, Jack Sweeney, the user behind Elon Musk’s Private Jet tracker account, has already relocated to Mastodon to resume work on the popular microblogging website. In less than a day, the account has amassed nearly 500 followers and is rising quickly. This isn’t the first time Elon has attempted to stop his private jet from being publicly tracked, either. In January 2022, he offered Jack Sweeney $5,000 to delete the account from Twitter. Jack declined the offer back in January, and it appears he’s not going to let Musk stop what he’s doing anytime soon.

Elon Musk is asking for the internet’s ‘dankest memes’ – Dexerto
Elon Musk is asking for the internet’s ‘dankest memes’ It’s no secret that tech billionaire and Tesla CEO Elon Musk is a Twitter fiend – between roasting Fortnite players and his controversial Tweet around making Tesla private, Elon is now asking for the internet to give him their ‘dankest memes.’ Elon Tweeted out the request on October 25, which has since garnered a massive amount of feedback. “Send me ur dankest memes!!” he wrote, following up with a reply that asked users not to send him any of the recent moth memes circulating social media. “No moths tho.” (Spoiler: internet didn’t comply with this request.) Musk’s Tweet gained a staggering 17,000 comments within the hour it was posted, many of which featured footage from his interview with Joe Rogan – more specifically, the now famous clip of him smoking a mixture of marijuana and tobacco. Other memes included commentary on Musk’s business practices, as well as his Tweet concerning making Tesla private, which reportedly cost the CEO $20 million in a fine from the company. Musk responded to the memery in kind, posting a gif from the first Pokemon movie to describe his timeline. Musk’s Twitter shenanigans don’t stop there: he recently joked about deleting the massively popular battle royale title Fortnite on October 19, likewise taking shots at the game’s pro players. He even engaged in playful banter with Team SoloMid’s Myth, who Elon joked hadn’t lost his virginity outside the game. Elon’s Tweet asking for memes now has over 43,000 retweets and boasts over 185,000 likes.

Elon Musk is now the world’s richest man but is just posting Mandalorian memes – Dexerto
Elon Musk is now the world’s richest man but is just posting Mandalorian memes YouTube: PewDiePie/DisneyElon Musk, who was recently named the richest man in the world, has casually been spending his free-time just dropping Mandalorian memes on Twitter, and some people can’t quite believe it. Despite his success with Tesla, SpaceX, and The Boring Company, Elon Musk has made name for himself – in certain circles, anyway – for being an absolute meme king on social media. It even got him an appearance on PewDiePie’s Meme Review as a guest host. In the past, the South African business magnate has dropped memes on pretty much everything – including the infamous Harambe jokes, puns about Overwatch, and even his own appearance on Joe Rogan’s podcast. They, usually, tie in to his own business dealings – be it Tesla, SpaceX, or something else he’s working on – but more recently, the richest man in the world has been focusing on Star Wars, particularly, The Mandalorian. After taking shots at Facebook, mocking chess and cheese, as well as Bitcoin, Musk dropped his playful post about The Mandalorian – to the surprise of many. “Must protect baby Yoda,” he tweeted but wasn’t exactly his joke. Instead, he had a picture of a man alongside a DeLorean car. All in all, when you put man and DeLorean together, what do you get? Indeed, The Mandalorian. Is it his best meme post ever? Probably not, his last viral Mando meme was a bit better, in all honesty, but it still managed to bring out some golden memes in his replies, as well as a few confused replies. “Make sure you let us know when you find him [Baby Yoda] on Mars,” joked one reply. “Richest man in the world and you still post great memes,” added another. Though, some added that maybe he needed to up his game as the memes had slipped a little below par. Some even went as far as pointing out that he’d lifted the joke from elsewhere, so, whatever he posts next, there will be some eagle-eyed viewers. But, he’s the richest person in the world, after all, he can do pretty much whatever he wants.

Elon Musk has X’s lawyers defend student in trouble over their tweets – Dexerto
Elon Musk has X’s lawyers defend student in trouble over their tweets X / YouTube: PowerfulJREElon Musk’s X has employed lawyers to act in the defense of a student facing disciplinary action from his college over posts made on the platform. Elon Musk’s takeover of X, formerly known as Twitter, has seen some big changes as the tech billionaire sets his vision into motion. One of the changes Musk implemented was the promise to protect free speech, posting back in August that the company would cover all legal bills for anyone who was “unfairly treated by [ther] employer due to posting or liking something” on X. Now, Musk is proving he was serious as X’s lawyers prepare to defend an Illinois student facing disciplinary action from his college over posts made on the platform. The student, Juan David Campolargo from the University of Illinois, is facing conduct probation and the risk of losing his campus housing after the school claimed he violated their code of conduct. Campolargo had been using his account on X to spread the news on events hosting free food around campus but found himself in trouble when one was in fact a private function. However, X’s lawyers argue Campolargo was acting within his First Amendment rights and have issued a letter addressing the college, which has since been reviewed by the Financial Times. Musk himself shared news of the case, writing, “We will do whatever it takes to support your right to free speech!” Users of the platform appeared pleasantly surprised by the turn of events, one person responding, “Amazing. I thought for sure it was an empty promise that we would see no action on. Thanks Elon and X.” Another said, “It’s good to see that X is following through on its promise to support users’ free speech. I hope that this will set a precedent for other companies to follow. It’s important for companies to stand up for freedom of speech, even when it’s unpopular.” Be sure to check out all the latest entertainment news on our page here.

Elon Musk tweets that he’s hosted Meme Review – Has he saved PewDiePie? Billionaire engineer PewDiePie’ Kjellberg’s Meme Review, as the SpaceX CEO tweeted the long-awaited update for the collaboration. Musk has been teasing the internet for months of the possibility of him hosting PewDiePie’s popular segment, and now the saga seems like it will finally be nearing its end. In a short tweet, Musk confirmed that he “did meme review last night with Justin Roiland,” which appears to be too cryptic for some fans to believe. Did meme review last night with Justin Roiland from @RickandMorty — Elon Musk (@elonmusk) February 18, 2019 The outlook for Musk joining in Meme Review’s shenanigans looked grim when the Pewds announced the that he was “never coming on.” Read more: PewDiePie shares hilarious reaction to Chuck E. Cheese scandal uncovered by Shane Dawson’s ‘Conspiracy Series’ – Along with Rick and Morty co-creator Justin Roiland, Musk seemed to be addressing the only meme-review segment he’s been linked to in the past. Read more: Summit1g hilariously forgets to end his stream “It could have been worse dude, I could have been getting naked” – The possibility of another bait-n-switch crossed the minds of many Twitter users who voiced their disbelief. The up and down roller coaster of Musk hosting Meme Review seems to have taken its toll on some. The development comes at the heels of another mysterious exchange between the Pewds and Musk on February 11 where the billionaire seemed to renew his interest in hosting Meme Review. Although, if the cameo appearance on PewDiePie’s show does come to fruition, it could be the saving grace the Pewd’s and many fans have been waiting for. We don’t know when it will release but it should be sometime soon as T-Series is gaining on PewDiePie by the hour and he’ll need all the help he can get to maintain his spot on top of YouTube.

Elon Musk grants MrBeast the keys to Twitter when he dies – Dexerto
Elon Musk grants MrBeast the keys to Twitter when he dies YouTube: Marques Brownlee/MrBeastElon Musk is willing to hand over the keys to Twitter to Jimmy ‘MrBeast’ Donaldson if he manages to close on the deal, but it would be in morbid circumstances. Even though he’s got his hands full with Tesla, SpaceX, and The Boring Company, business magnate Elon Musk has managed to engrain himself in internet culture with his regular Twitter posts. The South African has even gone one step further and has been trying to wrap up a $44 billion deal to take ownership of the social media platform, which has delighted some corners of the internet, and concerned plenty of others. While the deal has yet to go through, Musk has laid out some plans that he has in mind to take Twitter up a notch. However, if a cruel fate befalls him, he’s already agreed to turn things over to MrBeast. The billionaire and the YouTube sensation have struck up quite the relationship on Twitter, regularly tweeting each other back and forth – even teasing a collab video together. On May 9, the pair once again shared an online exchange after Musk tweeted a pretty morbid but joking statement, saying: “If I die under mysterious circumstances, it’s been nice knowin ya.” MrBeast didn’t miss a beat, though, asking if he can take over Twitter if the worst does happen to Musk. After a few hours, the 50-year-old responded with a simple: “Ok.” Plenty of fans joked that, as a result of the tweet, MrBeast might be the one to plot Musk’s downfall, but that would probably contradict the mysterious circumstances part of the billionaire’s post. Who knows what a Twitter run by MrBeast would look like though. Would everyone get free cash and chocolate with every post? We can only hope.

Elon Musk & Grimes’ pregnancy “announcement” sparks meme storm – Dexerto
Elon Musk & Grimes’ pregnancy “announcement” sparks meme storm American singer/songwriter Grimes announced her apparent pregnancy on January 8 to ample fanfare — but with Tesla CEO and tech billionaire Elon Musk being the father, it seems the internet’s reaction to the news is rife with memes and jokes. Grimes heralded her condition with a sensitive photo on Instagram, which featured the singer posing naked with an image of a fetus photoshopped onto her stomach. “I thought about censoring them [her cleavage] for a hot minute haha (this may get taken down anyway,) but the photo is much less feral without the nipples,” Grimes captioned the pic. “Plus, being knocked up is a very feral & war-like state of being. Might as well be what it is.” https://www.instagram.com/p/B7E9gnJF0O9/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link Although she never outright claimed she was actually pregnant, many are taking the photo as a pregnancy announcement, with even American presidential candidate Andrew Yang congratulating Grimes and Musk on their baby. Congrats @Grimezsz and @elonmusk – that’s amazing! 😀👍 — Andrew Yang🧢⬆️🇺🇸 (@AndrewYang) January 9, 2020 However, others across social media are making comparisons to Hideo Kojima’s “Death Stranding” game, noting that the photoshopped fetus looks an awful lot like a BB (bridge baby). “Ngl, I mistook the grimes pregnancy photo for death stranding fanart at first,” Bandcamp’s Zoe Camp said of the photo. https://twitter.com/jzcamp/status/1215046087163117568?s=20 Of course, still others are making hilarious jokes regarding Grimes’ pregnancy, with even pro Melee player “Hungrybox” taking a good-humored jab at the issue. rare footage of grimes and elon musk’s child saying its first words pic.twitter.com/7STkKAP13g — hungrybox (@LiquidHbox) January 9, 2020 “Grimes’ baby gonna come out speaking in Wingdings,” a fan wrote. https://twitter.com/hisethelcain/status/1215032625720627200?s=20 elon musk: what do u wanna name our baby (: grimes: pic.twitter.com/J6uG2EAOPB— __________ 🇵🇸 (@eyehateiuri) January 9, 2020 Another compared the Musk-Grimes baby to that of Pokemon MewTwo, showing a test-tube sculpture of the creature as seen in Japan’s Pokemon Center. Elon Musk gives game dev permission to use SpaceX in game about Mars Twitter: @lvladimirovBG/YouTube: PewDiePieElon Musk has acknowledged a persistent game developer on Twitter seeking permission to use the SpaceX name and logos. After 154 days of asking, Musk finally gave him the go-ahead. Despite being named the richest man in the world on January 7, Elon Musk remains extremely active on social media, regularly responding to his fans. His favorite platform is clearly Twitter, where he posts updates on the latest Telsa developments and any memes he finds particularly funny that day. It’s fair to say that he doesn’t act like your typical billionaire, and that’s probably why he’s developed such a cult-like following. Whenever he posts a tweet, Musk is bombarded with questions and requests from his fans. One independent game developer took it to the next level when seeking permission to use SpaceX’s name and logos. He vowed to ask Musk the same question on every single one of his tweets for a year and on day 154, he finally got his response. Elon Musk acknowledges persistent game developer For 154 days straight, Lyubomir Vladimirov replied to Elon Musk’s tweets asking for permission to use the SpaceX name and logos. During this time, followers of Musk began taking an interest in his game about colonizing mars and following his progress via Twitter. Despite this, Vladimirov also received a lot of backlash labeling his persistence as spam. Dear Elon, I’m a game dev. and I am making a game about colonizing Mars with you and SpaceX in it. If you think it’s cool, all I need is the “Go ahead” to use your name and Logos.I will post this every day for a year or until I get a Yes or a No! 154 / 365— Lyubomir Vladimirov (@lvladimirovBG) January 12, 2021 However, on January 13, Musk finally replied, giving him the go-ahead to use the brand, stating that “you can steal our name/logos & we probably won’t sue you.” After 154 long days of waiting, Vladimirov finally got the answer he was looking for. Elon Musk goes viral by explaining the science of memes – Dexerto
Elon Musk goes viral by explaining the science of memes YouTube: PewDiePieTesla CEO Elon Musk may be a billionaire and of the best-known entrepreneurs in the world, but he is also known on social media for his love of memes – and his latest scientific explanation of the phenomenon has instantly gone viral. Elon Musk’s admiration of internet memes was confirmed when he featured on PewDiePie’s famous ‘Meme Review’ show on YouTube back in 2018. Since then, he has been on good form on his Twitter account, mixing in various memes along with more serious posts about his various business ventures and scientific insight. His latest post, though, has mixed both his love of memes and science, and it’s exactly what we’d expect from the SpaceX founder. Unlike his past ‘Teletubbies’ memes, which were more bizarre than humorous and left his followers scratching their heads in confusion, the ‘dope-a-meme’ has a more intelligent twist. Playing on the hormone ‘dopamine’, which is often associated with pleasure and reward, Elon proclaims that the ‘dope-a-meme’ is “actually true”. Musk even mixed in his love of car power technology with another meme, mocking Car Review magazine J.D. Power for a study which found that car users find Tesla’s driver-assistance technology “annoying”. With over 28 million followers on his Twitter, Elon Musk is in the top 100 most followed accounts, just shortly behind Jenner sisters Kendall and Kylie. His memes always go viral on the platform with over 45,000 retweets on the ‘dope-a-meme’ post, contributing to his account gaining almost half-a-million new followers every month.

Elon Musk finally hosts PewDiePie’s ‘Meme Review’ in last-ditch effort to fend off T-Series – Dexerto
Elon Musk finally hosts PewDiePie’s ‘Meme Review’ in last-ditch effort to fend off T-Series PewDiePie, YouTubeAfter nearly a month of waiting, Tesla CEO Elon Musk has finally hosted YouTube king Felix ‘PewDiePie’ Kjellberg’s ‘Meme Review’ show – with the help of another special guest. PewDiePie uploaded the episode on February 22, where he appeared to fake out fans by insinuating that ‘Fresh Prince’ actor Will Smith had hosted the segment, instead. However, viewers were not disappointed, as both Musk and Justin Roiland of ‘Rick and Morty’ fame appeared for a ‘Bonus Meme’ portion of the show towards the video’s end. [Timestamp: 13:27 for mobile viewers.] A few of the memes reviewed by the duo poked fun at Elon, himself, including a photoshop of his face on rapper Post Malone’s head – which he took in good humor. Musk even gave viewers a fun factoid about the word “meme,” noting that its origin stemmed from Richard Dawkins’ 1976 book ‘The Selfish Gene,’ who coined the phrase in relation to a “survival of the fittest” concept. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zpWYQ1YtgnITheir collaboration seems to have helped the YouTuber rise above T-Series, who now sits at over 17,000 subs above the label – compared to his mere 9,000 sub gap earlier that very same day. Elon showed interest in hosting PewDiePie’s show with a humorous Tweet in late January, where he was pictured holding aloft one of his famed flamethrowers in a show of mock intimidation. While PewDiePie initially expressed some doubt as to the truth of Elon’s statement, it looks like the tech millionaire finally pulled through – with the help of Rick and Morty’s voice actor.

Elon Musk appears to fire employee after Twitter exchange: “He’s fired” – Dexerto
Elon Musk appears to fire employee after Twitter exchange: “He’s fired” Elon MuskTwitter’s new head honcho Elon Musk appears to have publicly fired an employee after they sent a tweet questioning the billionaire’s claims about the platform’s performance. Elon Musk officially took over Twitter in late October when his $44 billion acquisition of the social media platform finally became official. Since then, the SpaceX owner has used the platform to publicly share strategies to improve the platform and turn it profitable. Now, after an employee spoke out against Musk’s tactics, he’s seemingly fired them in front of his 115 million followers. Elon Musk seemingly fires Twitter employee via tweet The incident kicked off on November 13 when Elon offered an apology for the social media app’s performance in some countries and said, “I’d like to apologize for Twitter being super slow in many countries. The app is doing >1000 poorly batched RPCs just to render a home timeline!” Eric Frohnhoefer, an engineer at Twitter, replied, “I have spent ~6yrs working on Twitter for Android and can say this is wrong.” Elon retorted, “Then please correct me. What is the right number? Twitter is super slow on Android. What have you done to fix that?” Then, the CEO of the company simply replied, “He’s fired.” Since the apparent public firing, Eric has not removed his employment from his Twitter bio on the social media platform. Although Musk is claiming to do everything he can to put Twitter on the right track, there are employees who don’t agree with all of his strategies to do so.

Musk similarly expressed his love for ‘Your Name’ in late 2018, an anime movie that details a romantic love story between two teenagers who swap bodies – prompting a heated discussion on his favorite movies in the genre, which include such masterpieces as Studio Ghibli’s ‘Spirited Away’ and ‘Princess Mononoke.’ The newfound anime fan even went so far as to give himself a new nickname, jokingly asking fans to call him “Elon-Chan” in response to the madness. Elon Musk & Esports Musk has likewise inserted himself into the esports realm, after Fortnite pro FaZe Tfue seemingly joked about buying a Tesla after Musk responded to one of his Tweets. [Timestamp: 13:27 for mobile viewers.] Elon Musk claimed that his Twitter was “pretty much complete nonsense” prior to switching his icon, and he wouldn’t be wrong – but his hilarious social media antics are providing users across the platform with a good chuckle, in the meantime.

On Jan. 31, Musk dropped into a chat on the new, invite-only audio streaming site Clubhouse to talk for more than an hour about a variety of topics, including the current Dogecoin hype, and how it seems to be entirely fueled by memes. After touching on his regrets about not buying into Bitcoin when it was cheaper back in 2013, the topic of the latest hot crypto called Dogecoin came up. Doge was initially created as a joke back in 2013, as Elon noted, but it started trending during the whole Gamestop short-selling saga that dominated headlines last week as another potential way for savvy investors to make a quick turnaround. While Musk said he’s optimistic about cryptocurrencies as a way to change the financial system, he added that Doge will probably only go as far as the memes take it. “I’ve got to watch what I say here, because these things can really move the market. Occasionally I’ll make jokes/memes about Dogecoin, but they’re just jokes, Dogecoin was literally created as a joke,” he said, before explaining later on that memes and social media were the driving force behind the popularity, and Doge’s would only last as long as they kept going. Dogecoin discussion starts at 1:04:00 in video below. This was an hour-plus-long stream though, and crypto was just the tip of the iceberg for the different topics Musk discussed during the show, including Tesla, SpaceX, Mars, plenty of thoughts on meme culture, and more. Whether or not Doge will “go to the moon” or continue to hover around a couple of cents remains to be seen, but the Tesla founder did add that the most entertaining and ironic outcome for the meme coin would be for “Dogecoin to become the currency of Earth in the future.” Ridiculous as it sounds, the thought of everyone paying for everything in Shiba-Inu covered money is definitely entertaining to think about.

Elon Musk explains why “Official” Twitter tag was scrapped in hours – Dexerto
Elon Musk explains why “Official” Twitter tag was scrapped in hours Wikimedia CommonsElon Musk explained during a Twitter Space why he decided to remove the “Official” Twitter tags from accounts just hours after launch. Elon Musk’s eight-dollar Twitter verification plan finally launched on November 9, alongside a secondary “Official” tag that verified government accounts, content creators, media, publications, and more. Shortly after its launch, however, it was met with backlash from tons of users who didn’t like the design aspect of having two verification marks. Elon quickly removed the extra badge from profiles and explained why he did so just a few hours later. Elon Musk explains why he scrapped Twitter “Official” badge During a Twitter-wide ‘Spaces’ conversation hosted by Chief Twit (Musk’s self-appointed nickname), he was asked about the quick withdrawal of the “Official” verification badges. “Apart from it being an aesthetic nightmare when looking at the Twitter feed it is simply another way of creating a two-class system,” Elon Musk said. “It wasn’t addressing the core problem of there are too many entities that would be considered official or have legacy blue check marks.” The “two-class system” mentioned by Musk today is in reference to his tweet announcing the $8 verification system, where he called the existing setup the “Lords & Peasants” system. It’s unknown whether or not he will decide to bring back another variation of the short-lived “Official” badge, but we’ll be sure to update if he does. Alongside the new Twitter Blue verification system came a new set of guidelines for users, including the mention of rules you must abide by with your subscription.

Elon Musk embraces CoD memes following PewDiePie Meme Review appearance – Dexerto
Elon Musk embraces CoD memes following PewDiePie Meme Review appearance Elon Musk’s surprise appearance on YouTuber PewDiePie’s ‘Meme Review’ show almost sent the internet into meltdown on February 22, but now that the dust has settled, new glorious memes have been born. In his fight to stay above T-Series as the most subscribed YouTuber on the platform, Felix ‘PewDiePie’ Kjellberg drafted in the help of Tesla and SpaceX founder Elon Musk. After much speculation, Musk finally made an appearance on ‘Meme Review’, one of PewDiePie’s popular shows, in which he quite literally reviews internet memes. Elon Musk is known as a meme connoisseur himself, and so was the perfect fit for the show, and his massive internet following helped PewDiePie regain a slender lead on T-Series. After the video was published, Elon Musk began sharing his own memes, including this Call of Duty inspired ‘respawn’ meme, referencing the Mars Opportunity Rover which has finally been rendered offline after 14 years. Of course, the community also contributed their own memes, inspired by Musk’s cameo on Meme Review. Time to use stolen memes pic.twitter.com/shenNROmrb — SubscribeToPewDiePie! (@epicmafiagamer) February 23, 2019 Elon Musk hosting Meme Review certainly gave PewDiePie a boost, but whether it will be enough to keep him ahead of the Indian production company, seems unlikely. T-Series has been gaining on PewDiePie for months, and various ploys have helped the Swede stay on top, but surely he doesn’t have anymore tricks up his sleeve – right?

Elon Musk embraces new meme as Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson – Dexerto
Elon Musk embraces new meme as Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson He might be one of the most successful businessmen in the world, but Elon Musk‘s newfound love of ‘meme’ culture is making him one of the most influential internet personalities too, after his appearance on PewDiePie‘s ‘meme review’ show. On January 27, Musk Tweeted ‘Host meme review?’, and immediately sent PewDiePie fans crazy, as the YouTuber’s ongoing subscriber battle with ‘T-Series’ was in need of a boost. Sure enough, on February 22, PewDiePie’s meme review episode released, and Musk was there, alongside Justin Roiland to rate the memes too. Since his appearance on PewDiePie’s popular YouTube series, Musk has been taking his new ‘memelord’ title more seriously. He even shared a Call of Duty Zombies inspired meme the day after the meme review episode, and is now fully embracing memes all about him. On March 6, the Tesla and SpaceX founder posted a ridiculous meme of his face superimposed over wrestler and actor Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson. Of course, fans began responding with their own versions of this meme, of which there are many, all featuring Musk’s face placed on other people’s body. PewDiePie has continued the trend of having guests appear on his show now, after the success of Elon Musk’s episode, with YouTuber MrBeast the latest to help host meme review. The episode with Elon certainly helped PewDiePie stay ahead of T-Series, the Indian Production company that continues to challenge him for the number one most subscribed spot.

Elon Musk drops new hint about hosting Meme Review with PewDiePie – Dexerto
Elon Musk drops new hint about hosting Meme Review with PewDiePie PewDiePie / Elon MuskYouTuber giant Felix ‘PewDiePie‘ Kjellberg and Elon Musk have renewed speculation of the billionaire engineer hosting Meme Review after a long silence all but killed hopes of his appearance on the show. PewDiePie had recently given fans a grave outlook for Musk’s appearance on the show, but it seems fans won’t have to wait till “the next millennia” to see him host ‘Bonus Meme.’ Everything seemed to be coming together for Musk to appear on the show following a January 27 exchange between the pair, but fans have been holding their collective breath for weeks with no word, until now. Musk gave an incredibly cryptic message in which he apologized for his absence by announcing that he was back, possibly in time to appease the anxiously awaiting internet crowd. “Sorry,” Musk said. “Had a vital mission in Norway. Now I am back.” “Slightly suspicious, but granted,” PewDiePie replied. The exchange between the two reinvigorated fans who have been wanting the Tesla CEO to finally come onto the show for the Musk meme to come full circle. Although fans were overwhelmingly receptive to the possibility of Musk hosting the Meme Review, others were bracing for yet another let down in this saga that’s teased more than it’s delivered. PewDiePie has brought on a number of different personalities to help host his popular Meme Review show but Musk would by far be the biggest one to appear. Musk has been in the limelight for a plethora of incredible feats with his many companies, but an appearance on PewDiePie’s show would certainly be one of the highlights for many fans of the billionaire.

Elon Musk doubles down on Twitter ‘bot’ problem after deal collapses – Dexerto
Elon Musk doubles down on Twitter ‘bot’ problem after deal collapses Steve Jurvetson/Wiki CommonsElon Musk shocked the world when he announced his 44-billion-dollar bid to buy Twitter back in April 2022, and then further amplified his own shockwaves after threatening to take the deal off the table if the social media giant couldn’t meet his demands regarding the exact number of Twitter users are real people. On July 9, the billionaire CEO claimed that the deal was dead in the water, but Twitter Chairman Brett Taylor quickly responded and insisted the company will be pursuing a successful transaction even if it means taking involving Delaware’s Court of Chancery. In the fallout of this news, Mr. Musk has been having some fun with the situation as he’s known to do, insinuating that ‘bot’ accounts spell big trouble for the bird app. Elon Musk sticks to his guns over Twitter’s ‘bot account problem’ While Elon first took to simply posting memes about the situation, including a bizarre image of Chuck Norris posing over a chessboard that he later captioned “Chuckmate”, Elon also posted a more substantial offering in reply to another commenter. When Twitter WholeMarsBlog tweeted about how bots would theoretically impact Twitter’s virtual ecosystem, it got the EM seal-of-approval. “Bots are not ‘an excuse’, they are a reality that Twitter users like me deal with every day,” they said. “If advertisers think they’ve been paying to advertise to humans, but instead they’ve been advertising to robots… that’s going to materially impact the advertising business adversely.” “Absolutely,” echoed Musk. Musk hasn’t clearly stated exactly what he saw that caused him to back out of the deal other than it being user-population related, but he has shared another meme suggesting that he’ll be the one with the last laugh if the company has to reveal those numbers in a courtroom. For now it seems like things have come to a standstill for the two parties, but we’ll be sure to provide the latest updates as they happen.

Elon Musk defends MrBeast amid criticism for video helping deaf people – Dexerto
Elon Musk defends MrBeast amid criticism for video helping deaf people WikiMedia Commons/MrBeastElon Musk has stepped in to defend Jimmy ‘MrBeast’ Donaldson after the YouTube star came under fire for his newest charity video where he helped 1000 deaf people hear again. Over the last few years, MrBeast has taken over YouTube with his increasingly-wild videos, as he’s given fans and friends the opportunities to star in them and win some big money and prizes. The charitable side of his videos is something he’s been increasingly tapping into, launching his Beast Philanthropy charity that uses the money made by his other YouTube channels to be able to help others. Though, the YouTuber has come under fire for some of the charity-focused videos he’s made, with many claiming it’s not really charity if he’s making it so public despite the fact he’s helping some really worthy causes. Elon Musk defends MrBeast’s charity video The YouTuber’s newest charitable video – where he helps 1000 deaf people with their hearing – has been criticized because of the thumbnail. “This is nice and all, but why does Mr. Beast’s thumbnail editor feel the need to have his hand clutching a child’s shoulder as he grins ominously behind them???” quizzed one critic. As that criticism got a bit more widespread, Elon Musk even stepped in to defend the YouTube star. “People definitely shouldn’t be attacked for doing good. Is it really just a question of money to restore hearing?” the Twitter owner tweeted. “I’m always looking (for) ways to donate money that are actually good. Perhaps this is one. It is very hard to donate money if you about it doing actual good, not merely the appearance of it.” Fans of the YouTuber have also stepped in to defend him amid the criticisms, suggesting they don’t really make any sense. Jimmy himself hasn’t said anything, but he did when his video about providing shoes did come under fire. So, we’ll have to wait and see if he says anything this time.

Elon Musk demands PewDiePie to let him host meme review with hilarious Tweet – Dexerto
Elon Musk demands PewDiePie to let him host meme review with hilarious Tweet Joe Skipper, Reuters / PewDiePie, YouTubeTesla Motors CEO Elon Musk has given YouTube king Felix ‘PewDiePie’ Kjellberg a fairly pointed suggestion in regards to the YouTuber’s ‘Meme Review’ show. Musk posted a humorous Tweet on January 27, which featured a picture of the tech millionaire holding aloft one of his own flame throwers with the caption, “Host meme review?” PewDiePie had a fairly bemused response to the request, appearing to entertain the possibility of their collaboration on the show. “✋🤠🤚 Don’t shoot!” Pewds replied. “Please host 🙏 We need this!” That wasn’t the end of Musk’s interaction, either; he likewise had a short conversation with popular YouTuber Jimmy ‘MrBeast’ Donaldson, who triple-dog-dared the CEO to host the show – to which Musk raised a $5 fee. :raised_hand::face_with_cowboy_hat::raised_backhand: dont shoot please host  we need this! https://t.co/6l66JTw7Vq — ƿ૯ωძɿ૯ƿɿ૯ (@pewdiepie) January 27, 2019 “I’ll give you $5 and I’ll buy a Tesla,” MrBeast returned. “You drive a hard bargain, but… okay,” Musk replied. This wouldn’t be the first time a notable figure has appeared on Meme Review, should the Musk collab actually come to fruition; conservative political commentator Ben Shapiro made an appearance on the show in early November of 2018, after being jokingly invited on by PewDiePie in a previous segment. Musk himself is no stranger to the internet community. He and Fortnite pro FaZe Tfue had a hilarious interaction on Twitter in early January 2019, after the gamer purchased a Tesla due to Musk’s response to one of his Tweets. Musk has likewise spoken out about his favorite character in Super Smash Bros Ultimate, claiming that his fighter of choice is Zero Suit Samus.

Elon Musk confirms he’ll quit as Twitter CEO, but there’s a big catch – Dexerto
Elon Musk confirms he’ll quit as Twitter CEO, but there’s a big catch Wikipedia Commons, Debbie RoweElon Musk’s reign of Twitter is seemingly coming to an end, with Musk all but confirming he will be quitting as the CEO of platform. However, Musk has promised that he will step down as CEO – and what he plans to do afterward – only if a specific requirement is met. The discourse on social media app Twitter – following Musk’s purchasing of the company and appointment as CEO – has been largely centered on whether or not he should continue leading the platform. On December 19, Musk created a poll, asking Twitter users directly to vote for whether or not they want him to remain as CEO. After garnering over 17 million votes in 24 hours, the poll’s final tally had 57.5% wanting Musk out as the CEO of Twitter. Following this, he has now come out and said that he will agree to the terms of the poll. However, his confirmation does come with a major caveat. Elon Musk to step down as CEO of Twitter “I will resign as CEO as soon as I find someone foolish enough to take the job!” Musk then added that if and when he is replaced as Twitter CEO, he will “just run the software & servers teams.” Since taking over, Musk wasted no time in changing up the social media platform. From changing up the verification system to major changes within the Twitter workplace, the landscape of the platform has been completely reworked. And with a new CEO appointment seemingly on the horizon, time will tell what the future of Twitter looks like. Elon Musk is yet to comment further what his quitting of Twitter will look like and what the timeframe for this move will be. Elon Musk confuses everyone with bizarre Teletubbies memes – Dexerto
Elon Musk confuses everyone with bizarre Teletubbies memes YouTube: PewDiePie/BBCBillionaire Elon Musk has left everybody extremely confused, once again, after sharing a string of bizarre Teletubbies memes on Twitter. The Tesla CEO and SpaceX founder has already shown his willingness to get onboard with memes and internet culture. Back in February, after weeks of request from fans, he finally made an appearance on Felix ‘PewDiePie’ Kjellberg’s YouTube show ‘Meme Review’. He followed that up with a Call of Duty Zombies meme to commemorate the NASA Mars Rover finally going offline after 14 years. Yet, his jokes took a bizarre turn when he tweeted out a Harambe song from SoundCloud and left all of his followers bemused. Now, he’s done it again – this time, focusing on the tv show – the Teletubbies. On August 4, Musk tweeted out a generic photo of the Teletubbies with the caption “Teletub,” with a bee emoji attached. Why he didn’t just type out the actual name was only the start of the confusion. He followed that initial post up with a second image, this time of Queen Elizabeth II in different colored dressed on the Teletubbies background. The caption, this time around, made a little more sense with: “Queen,” and another bee attached. Of course, some of his followers quickly set about trying to decipher some sort of code, while others decided that the best course of action would be to follow up with own memes. Twitter user IAmStaka had their own Teletubbies-inspired image, placing different images of Musk on to the different characters. Another, RadioAshgarde, embraced the bee portion of the post to ask a serious question about musk himself. He posted: “Elon, should we [bee] worried about you?” with another emoji of the flying insect inside his comment. Not all of his followers, however, had their own jokes and instead had instructions for Musk considering the time he made the bizarre post at. “Jesus Christ Elon, its 4 in the morning, go to bed,” added user JayMalik384, pointing out that the Tesla CEO might benefit from a good night’s sleep. Regardless, nobody has been able to figure out why Musk made the post – or if there is significance behind it. Yet, knowing his history with memes, it’s likely just something he finds hilarious and we’ll never get an answer to.

Elon Musk claims Twitter can be a rival to Twitch streaming – Dexerto
Elon Musk claims Twitter can be a rival to Twitch streaming Wikimedia / TwitchElon Musk has indicated that Twitter could compete with Twitch in the streaming industry in the wake of the streaming giant’s controversial advertising policy receiving backlash from creators. In a discussion about Twitch’s new policy, which some of its largest creators have criticized heavily, Elon joined in to say that Twitter could be a potential rival in the streaming industry, which Twitch currently dominates. Elon has consistently voiced his desire to make Twitter more friendly to broadcasting since his takeover of the company last year. Changes to Twitter spaces and video upload length for Twitter Blue users have shifted the site towards this. Elon Musk suggests Twitter could step into the streaming industry In a conversation around Twitch’s new policy which restricts advertising and on-screen logos, Twitter user stevenmarkryan suggested that Twitch was “begging to be disrupted by Twitter” after Elon was tagged in a message saying: “Twitter streaming for gamers with Spaces in tandem would be fire”. Elon replied, saying: “Ok fine, we’ll do it.” Elon is known for making slightly wild statements on Twitter, so this doesn’t mean Twitter’s entry into streaming is guaranteed, but it represents another area where Elon could bring new ideas to the site. The move could capitalize on growing discontent with Twitch in the streaming community, which has allowed other platforms, like Kick, to gain a foothold in the space. With a solid user base already in place, Twitter might be able to do the same. Some of the most controversial changes include the reduction of logos to just 3% of the screen, and the removal of “burned-in” ads inserted directly into the stream. These are techniques that are used across the platform by streamers to make revenue from brand partners and sponsorships. For a complete rundown on all the changes Twitch announced for advertising, and why creators are so angry about it, check out our full explainer here.

Elon Musk claims Twitter is set to lose $3 billion if changes aren’t made – Dexerto
Elon Musk claims Twitter is set to lose $3 billion if changes aren’t made Wikimedia / PixabayTwitter owner and CEO Elon Musk has claimed that the social media platform is set to lose $3 billion in the upcoming financial year, as he continues to defend his cutbacks and sweeping company changes. Ever since Elon Musk acquired Twitter, the social media platform has been mired in controversy. From sweeping layoffs to unpopular policy changes, Musk’s time in charge has been a huge discussion topic online. While he looks set to step down as CEO after being voted out in a public poll, he continues to defend and explain his policy and staff changes. Specifically, he revealed the company’s dire financial situation in a recent Twitter Spaces call, explaining that without major changes it would likely collapse financially. Elon Musk claims Twitter will lose $3 billion without major changes In the Spaces call, shared by @TheSonofWalkley on Twitter, Musk revealed that the platform was on course to lose $3 billion in the calendar year, due to the rising cost of servicing debt with increased interest rates. The monumental financial worries are the reason for his extreme cost-cutting tactics. “Because of the nature of this transaction,” he explained, “where there’s $12.5 billion of debt and the debt rate has been going crazy… So that’s like a negative cash flow situation of like $3 billion a year. That’s not good, [especially] since Twitter has $1 billion in cash. So that’s why I’ve spent the last five weeks cutting costs like crazy.” He went on to explain that they are looking to increase Twitter’s revenue via new subscription models and advertiser improvements. As a result, he reckons the platform will be “okay” financially. “I now think that Twitter will in fact be okay next year,” he stated. “I think we will be sort of roughly cash flow break even. That’s what I hope for next year… as opposed to minus $3 billion ish… [My actions] may seem sometimes spurious or odd. It’s because we have an emergency fire drill on our hands, not because I’m naturally capricious.” Despite Musk’s adamant defense of his policy, discussion over the platform’s direction is sure to drag on.

Elon Musk calls Mark Zuckerberg a “chicken” after Meta CEO claims fight isn’t happening – Dexerto
Elon Musk calls Mark Zuckerberg a “chicken” after Meta CEO claims fight isn’t happening Unsplash: Ben Moreland / Instagram: zuckMark Zuckerberg called out Elon Musk for not taking their proposed fight seriously, but Musk rejected the insinuation and called the Meta CEO a “chicken”. In a strange turn of events, two of the world’s wealthiest and most influential men are in a battle to discredit one another over a proposed fight that may or may not be happening. Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg have been teasing a mixed martial arts fight in what UFC boss Dana White has claimed would be the biggest pay-per-view event ever, predicting it would make $1 billion in revenue. Zuckerberg, however, seemingly ended the excitement after a post accused Musk of not being “serious” about their fight. Now Musk has clapped back, insinuating it is actually the Meta CEO who is backing down. In his statement, Zuckerberg said that until Musk was serious about confirming an official time and date for their fight, it was “time to move on”. “Elon won’t confirm a date, then says he needs surgery, and now asks to do a practice round in my backyard instead,” Zuckerberg wrote. “I’m going to focus on competing with people who take the sport seriously.” Ashley St. Clair, who goes by ‘stclairashley’ on Twitter, shared a screenshot of Zuckerberg’s post with the brutal caption; “Mark Zuckerberg confirms he is absolutely no fun in a painfully boring post on that other app.” And Musk jumped at the chance to join in on the crusade against Zuckerberg, firing back at his would-be opponent. “Zuck is a chicken,” Musk captioned his retweet of Ashley’s post. But some users of the platform agreed that Zuckerberg might just have a point. “Just need to give him a date,” one person commented. Another said, “Not sure why you think so. He keeps trying to get a time and you keep postponing. Right?” As of now, it remains a mystery whether or not the fight will play out. Elon Musk can’t get enough of Mandalorian memes as he goes viral again – Dexerto
Elon Musk can’t get enough of Mandalorian memes as he goes viral again Tesla CEO and entrepreneur Elon Musk delighted fans yet again with his meme abilities, again focusing on the brand new Disney show ‘The Mandalorian’, which he appears to be a big fan of. While much of Elon Musk’s social media presence is devoted to furthering the prosperity of his various business ventures, he has shown time and time again that he is not above a bit of light meme content. Recently he showed his affinity for the new Star Wars spin-off show, The Mandalorian, by way of an incredibly timely ‘baby yoda’ meme. The meme subsequently went viral and sits at over 750,000 likes. On December 21, the tech billionaire used The Mandalorian yet again, this time with a meme bizarrely relating to a panda, to try his hand at going viral on Twitter once more. It seems that whatever Musk tweets, it dominates the platform. He is not new to meme culture by any means, as he hosted PewDiePie’s Meme Review in February, and hilariously explained the science of the viral jokes on his social media. This time, his meme included a delinquent student thinking about a ‘Pandalorian’ while in class. The joke was accompanied by a woefully bad photoshop of a panda with a bounty hunter mask, as well as a weapon in its front paw. The tweet quickly gained a lot of traction – as all of the 48-year-old’s memes do – amassing over 100,000 likes less than 16 hours after posting. The Mandalorian is the latest Star Wars spin-off, premiering on November 12 on Disney+. While Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker has received a mixed reception from critics and fans, The Mandalorian has distinguished itself as universally loved. Also on December 22, Musk kept the memes flowing as he tweeted an image of two dogs in relation to ‘bath salts’ as a Christmas gift. We’re not quite sure what inspired this one, but never question Musk’s ability to go viral. It seems the tech billionaire is a fan of some truly bizarre internet content, much to the delight and bemusement of his millions of followers. His tweeting almost landed him in some very bad legal trouble though, after he was sued for calling British diver Vern Unsworth a ‘pedo guy‘ on Twitter. Musk won the lawsuit accusing him of defamation, but might still be a bit more cautious with future posts. We truly cannot predict what he’ll come out with next.

Elon Musk claims Apple “threatened to withhold Twitter” from App Store – Dexerto
Elon Musk claims Apple “threatened to withhold Twitter” from App Store YouTube: TED, AppleAfter it pulled its ads from Twitter, new CEO Elon Musk is now claiming that Apple is threatening to remove Twitter from its App Store. Ever since Musk took over Twitter after a massive $44 billion acquisition, the platform has hit a period of significant instability. From the shaky rollout of the mocked Twitter Blue paid verification system to the unbanning of controversial figures like Andrew Tate and Donald Trump, the social media site has seen advertisers begin to leave in droves. But now, Musk and Twitter are at odds with Apple as the Tesla CEO is claiming that the Twitter app may not remain in the App Store. Check out the best Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals on Amazon Musk claims Apple is threatening to remove Twitter app In a series of tweets on November 28, Elon Musk fired shots at the tech giant for its decisions to pull advertising from Twitter. Musk called out Apple CEO Tim Cook, demanding answers for the decision, but neither Cook nor Apple have publicly commented on any decision to pull ads from Twitter. But Musk alleges that not only is Apple pulling Twitter ads, but it might even de-list the site from its App Store. This would mean that, potentially, Twitter is not available on iOS devices other than through a web browser. Again, neither Apple nor any Apple representatives have commented on the veracity of these allegations. Internet responses to the claims has been, predictably, quite divided, with many Musk opponents saying that Apple declining to advertise or host Twitter is the epitome of free speech, something the CEO claimed Apple “hate[s]”. Others, however, compared the possible delisting of Twitter with the removal of the Epic Games store from the App Store, saying that this move would be an example of Apple’s monopolistic power. In fact, Musk seemed to agree with this take, quote retweeting the Fortnite 1984 video that was made in response to the delisting of Epic Games with the word “Accurate”. That case involved a conflict between Apple and Epic Games over revenue sharing of items purchased in the Fortnite app on iOS devices. Apple elected to delist the Fortnite app because the developer included a payment method which would circumvent needing to pay Apple’s 30% cut. Eventually, the case wound up in court where a judge ruled that Apple would have to allow for developers to include alternate payment options. Elon Musk blasts TikTok as an “AI attack” after teasing his own social media platform YouTube: Marques BrownleeTesla CEO Elon Musk has taken a jab at TikTok calling the company’s AI “annoying,” days after teasing a new social media platform. Tech billionaire Elon Musk is known for not being the biggest fan of mainstream social media, as he does not have a public TikTok or Instagram account, with Twitter being his main way of interacting with followers. While many users have called TikTok out for privacy concerns, Musk has recently taken a shot at the platform calling the app’s AI “annoying.” On March 27, 2022, Musk responded to a tweet uploaded by Andrej Karpathy, who is Tesla’s Director of AI, saying: “TikTok feels like such an obvious AI attack that it’s annoying.” TikTok feels like such an obvious AI attack that it’s annoying. In a separate tweet on Friday, Musk stated that “free speech is essential to a functioning democracy” and questioned whether Twitter “rigorously adheres to this principle.” While Musk has not officially released any plans to build a new social media platform, it is believed by many that the billionaire might already be working on one.

Elon Musk believes Twitter having PvP game modes “makes sense” – Dexerto
Elon Musk believes Twitter having PvP game modes “makes sense” Wikimedia/TwitterFollowing Elon Musk’s takeover of Twitter, the Tesla inventor believes the social media platform could introduce a variety of PvP modes – with a twist. On October 27, Elon Musk concluded his mission to acquire the social media platform Twitter. Beginning on April 14, Musk’s acquisition of the site signals a vastly different era for users. Amid rumors the business magnate had reinstated Kanye West’s account, Musk has promised to bring an array of “significant improvements.” One of these could be the introduction of PvP game modes between users. Elon Musk eager to introduce PvP options to Twitter Responding to followers with questions about his plans, Elon Musk is interested in bringing PvP elements to Twitter. True North researcher @cosminDZS suggested that Musk should “Make Twitter have different game modes.” “PvP Twitter is where you can start beef and mob each other on verified personal accounts,” they continued. They added that “Roleplaying Twitter is for anon accounts only with minimal moderation. Normal Twitter is for everyone else with heavy moderation.” Surprisingly, Musk caught wind of this proposal and offered a straightforward response: “Something like this makes sense.” Though it is possible Musk could be joking, it wouldn’t be the first time that the Space X founder has brought the world of gaming to other devices. Conversely, Musk’s range of Tesla vehicles have the ability to play a plethora of games via their dashboard display. To enhance the potential of this technology, Musk has teased that Steam games could be available one day for Tesla owners. Other Twitter users have pitched in with their own tweaks toward the PvP concept. User @davidkarim added that “Twitter should have Karma similar to Reddit.” You gain more Karma for having civil discussions, not so much when you aren’t. More Karma, more visibility of your tweets,” they added. As the dust settles on Musk’s acquisition, it is just a matter of time before the platform sees a massive departure from its current state.

Elon Musk, Mr Beast and more hacked in $100k Twitter Bitcoin scam – Dexerto
Elon Musk, Mr Beast and more hacked in $100k Twitter Bitcoin scam Steve Jurvetson, Flickr / Mr Beast, YouTubeTesla CEO and tech millionaire Elon Musk’s Twitter account, along with those of Bill Gates, Apple and even Cashapp, were hacked midday on July 15 in a wide-ranging Bitcoin scam. While Musk is known for his wild Twitter antics and humorous memes, his followers were tipped off after he appeared to tweet something abnormal out of his usual repertoire of internet hijinks. Musk seemed to promise fans double their payments to his personal BTC account — meaning he would purportedly “give back” twice the amount they sent in, encouraging them to send an amount of $1,000. While some viewers were clearly wary of the scam, it seems that others were not so leery, with the scammers receiving over $100k at the time of writing across multiple hacked accounts from top personalities on the social media platform. Other big names included in the unfortunate hacking were Amazon’s Jeff Bezos, Bill Gates, Cashapp, Apple and even Uber. Thus far, all of the offending scam tweets have been deleted — but users are still warning fans against following the link and sending the scammers their money, in spite of the tantalizing promise to double their investment. This wouldn’t be the first time a string of high-profile celebrities’ Twitter accounts have been compromised, by far; in fall 2019, a hacking group notably compromised the accounts of several top YouTubers, including the likes of James Charles, Shane Dawson and even the late Smash Bros star Desmond ‘Etika’ Amofah, leading to outrage at the individuals responsible. https://twitter.com/FusionAnimation/status/1165323666923540482?s=20 Even Twitter’s own CEO Jack Dorsey was hacked — a figure who is coming under fire for an apparently serious security breach on the popular social media platform. Thus far, Twitter has yet to respond to the scamming scheme, and fans are awaiting further information from the platform as even more accounts become compromised. UPDATE: It seems that massive YouTube star Jimmy ‘Mr Beast’ Donaldson has likewise been roped into the hacking — a potentially disastrous turn of events, as the entertainer is known for his groundbreaking generosity and massive cash giveaways. Sources have claimed that the Bitcoin account has now garnered over $7 million since the scam began. UPDATE 3:19 PM PST – Twitter has addressed the widespread hack in a series of posts via its Twitter support page, warning users that they “may be unable to Tweet or reset your password while we review and address this incident.” You may be unable to Tweet or reset your password while we review and address this incident. — Support (@Support) July 15, 2020 Many have speculated that the inability to Tweet is targeting verified accounts only, due to the nature of the hack attacking verified users. Elon Musk announces high definition virtual reality stream of SpaceX’s moon mission – Dexerto
Elon Musk announces high definition virtual reality stream of SpaceX’s moon mission If you never fulfilled your childhood dream of becoming an astronaut and flying to the moon, Elon Musk has the next best thing lined up for you. Musk, the CEO of SpaceX, has announced that the company’s 2023 moon mission will be streamed live in high-definition virtual reality so that viewers can get as close to the action as possible without being there in the flesh. “Moon mission will be livestreamed in high-def VR, so it’ll feel like you’re there in real-time minus a few seconds for speed of light,” the business magnate said. Moon mission will be livestreamed in high def VR, so it’ll feel like you’re there in real-time minus a few seconds for speed of light — Elon Musk (@elonmusk) September 18, 2018 If you’re wondering how Musk and SpaceX plan on achieving their goal, it looks like the billionaire has already given that some thought: “Starlink should be active by then,” he says. The SpaceX Starlink constellation is a satellite system that the company hopes will consist of over 3,500 spacecraft by 2024. Theoretically, this would provide them with the sort of high-bandwidth connection that a high-definition stream from space would require. 2023 may seem like a long way away, but it is sure to come around very quickly for the people working on the various pieces of the puzzle that would make the livestream go off without a hitch. If Musk and SpaceX are successful, though, the SpaceX BFR (Big Falcon Rocket) moon mission stream could go down as one of the biggest events of the 21st century. A Japanese billionaire, Yusaka Maezawa, bought all of the available seats for the mission and plans to choose between six and eight artists to join him on the journey. Those artists will then be tasked with creating work inspired by the mission. The rocket will not land on the surface of the moon, but will orbit around it instead.

Elon Musk believes TikTok is “destroying” civilization – Dexerto
Elon Musk believes TikTok is “destroying” civilization elon musk/tiktokSpaceX founder Elon Musk pondered if TikTok is “destroying” all of civilization, and maybe even all of social media in general. Elon Musk has gone viral many times for his opinions on various popular social media platforms. Most of his opinions have been about Twitter, the company he’s potentially taking over quite soon, but doesn’t stop just there. He’s also called out YouTube for the “nonstop scam ads” he’s encountered while using the video-sharing website. Now, he’s set his crosshairs on another video app. Elon Musk calls out TikTok The multi-billionaire shared his thoughts on the video app TikTok on June 17. Musk said: “Is TikTok destroying civilization? Some people think so.” The tweet questioning TikTok’s negative effects on society went instantly went viral with over 23k retweets and 250k likes in under one day. The PayPal founder then went on to say “or perhaps social media in general” is the problem, and TikTok is just one of the factors leading the negative impact. This isn’t the first time Elon has criticized social media in general. He even called out Twitter, despite still being deep into negotiations to purchase the company, and questioned if the app was “dying” despite making an insane $44 billion offer to buy the entire company outright. If Musk believes that TikTok is hurting society at large, he could take up Joe Rogan’s original idea and buy it on top of purchasing Twitter, turning him into the Thanos of every social media site.

Elon Musk and Kanye West plan Clubhouse voice chat event – Dexerto
Elon Musk and Kanye West plan Clubhouse voice chat event YouTube: PowerfulJRESpaceX CEO Elon Musk has officially revealed a joint event with rapper Kanye West on the Clubhouse app — a new, invite-only social media platform for voice chatting. It’s no secret that the social media age is ruled by a handful of giant platforms, but one application is standing out from the rest. Its name is Clubhouse, and part of its inherent appeal is the fact that it’s so exclusive. Clubhouse is a relatively new social media application that acts as a kind of virtual panel for users to engage in voice-only chats with their audiences. The platform already boasts a slew of high-profile users, with such celebrities as Drake, Oprah, and Ashton Kutcher taking part in the trend. It’s not just its huge celebrity following that has users vying to download the app, though; it’s also an invite-only application, meaning that if you want to use the program, you have to be specifically invited by a current user. However, existing users can’t simply hand out invites willy-nilly — new users only get one free invite at the start, and have to use the platform for a period of time before being given another three invites. This is what makes the Clubhouse app so mysterious, and it looks like two major celebs are about to cash in on the trend. On February 10, renowned meme-king and Tesla CEO Elon Musk announced that he would be using the Clubhouse app for a virtual voice-chat with fans alongside another huge name — music artist Kanye West. This is certainly an unexpected combination, but not an unwelcome one. Funnily enough, both have appeared on episodes of the Joe Rogan Podcast in the past, although on different episodes, so there’s no telling what kind of hijinks these two will get up to during their upcoming panel. This news comes just after massively popular YouTuber MrBeast held his own voice chat with fans on the application. Although there’s no set date or time for the Elon x Kanye event, fans are already looking forward to what promises to be an intriguing conversation between the two stars.

Elon Musk and PewDiePie troll the media over meme reaction outrage – Dexerto
Elon Musk and PewDiePie troll the media over meme reaction outrage YouTube: PewDiePieElon Musk and YouTube star Felix ‘PewDiePie’ Kjellberg have been trolling media outlets on Twitter about how they behave when the pair react to “dark humor” memes. PewDiePie is arguably the king of memes on YouTube, with his “Meme Review” show regularly drawing millions of viewers who flock to see the Swede discuss and rate the internet’s latest viral sensations. While many think of Musk as the figurehead of companies like Tesla, he also has an appreciation of memes, posting them regularly on his Twitter account. With the duo seen as two of the most recognizable men in the world, media outlets often pick up on anything controversial they do, including their reactions to memes that are of a dark-humor variety. When PewDiePie posted a meme on Twitter that suggested the reason Musk and actor Keanu Reeves were so popular was because the SpaceX boss’ middle name was Reeve, the 47-year-old responded with a meme that compared the reactions of the YouTuber’s fans and media. In Musk’s image, the ‘9-year-olds’, a term given to fans of the Swede, can be seen laughing along with PewDiePie and the tech giant as they chuckle at a “slightly dark humor meme,” with the image of the billionaire actually taken from his appearance on Meme Review where he broke into fits of laughter after seeing a dead deer in a swimming pool. The reaction from media outlets, according to Musk, isn’t so friendly though, with the image showing an angry boy with a frown on his face. Elon Musk became a viral sensation in his own right back in October when he made an appearance on the Joe Rogan Experience podcast, smoking marijuana on the episode. While it may have endeared him to the internet, Tesla stock prices reportedly crashed following the incident, with some outlets asking whether his maverick behavior actually hurts the companies he owns. PewDiePie has also faced his fair share of criticism from the press, with many labeling him as a right-wing apologists and claiming he is racist for clips and incidents in his past. Back in April, almost 100,000 people signed a petition to have his channel removed for “white supremacist content.” It hasn’t hampered the pair’s enjoyment of memes though, although whether Musk will ever appear on Meme Review again remains to be seen.

Elmo traumatized after checking in with the internet – Dexerto
Elmo traumatized after checking in with the internet Twitter: ElmoSesame Street’s Elmo has been truly traumatized after simply asking the internet how everybody is doing, getting depressing responses they would’ve never imagined. Life can be a pretty tough deal at times. You’ve got to pay bills, work a job, maintain your hobbies, and keep up with your friends all in the small periods of time you have free. This is the complete opposite of the life that the friendly faces of Sesame Street lead, who are often learning, relaxing, and messing around with the free time they have. Of course the most iconic of all Sesame Street characters, Elmo, cares about his friends and the people around him, so they took the time to ask all the lovely citizens of the internet how they are doing as 2024 rolls on. The responses were traumatizing, to say the least. Elmo understands human sadness after checking replies to tweet “Elmo is just checking in! How is everybody doing?” the furry red monster asked. Droves of internet users replied to Elmo, giving them a true taste of what it’s like to be an adult in the year 2024. “Elmo we are tired” one user sighed. “Every morning, I cannot wait to go back to sleep. Every Monday, I cannot wait for Friday to come. Every single day and every single week for life.” another user depressingly shared. Others expressed their sadness at leaving Sesame Street and having to enter the real workforce. “It’s been a tough time since we left the street and entered the workforce, Elmo.” Many felt pity for Elmo, as they’d have to read through the slog of depressing comments, truly kicking open a door that was never meant to be open. The red muppet has not yet responded to their tweet, presumably because of how traumatizing some of these responses were.

Elon Musk agrees to fight Mark Zuckerberg “any time” under “any rules” – Dexerto
Elon Musk agrees to fight Mark Zuckerberg “any time” under “any rules” YouTube: TEDTwitter/X owner Elon Musk has officially agreed to fight fellow tech mogul Mark Zuckerberg, and he’s game to throw down with his opponent “any time” under “any rules.” In summer 2023, the possibility of an MMA match between tech giants Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg went viral as the two traded verbal blows across social media. However, things got quiet in fall of that same year, and nothing much had been said about the potential bout for months… until now. On July 24, Musk addressed the situation in response to a question from an apparent fan, saying he’s more than willing to meet his rival in the octagon — or anywhere, for that matter. “I’ll fight Zuckerberg any place, any time, any rules,” he said with a smile in a video that’s taking X by storm. This is the latest statement to come from Musk about the Zuckerberg fight in quite some time, but it’s not the first time he’s expressed such a sentiment. In an episode of the Joe Rogan podcast in October 2023, Musk said something very similar. “I challenge him to a duel under any circumstances,” the Tesla CEO said. “I’m willing to fight him in a house, on a mouse, with a louse.” The feud between these two billionaires first sparked in June 2023 after Musk said he was “up for a cage match” with Zuckerberg ahead of its Threads launch, which at the time, was merely considered a “rumor.” Zuckerberg was quick to respond, asking him to “send the location” in a post on his Instagram stories. Given Zuckerberg’s proficiency in martial arts, fans were keen to see if he’d get to show off his skills against his business rival. Although Musk publicly accepted the challenge in a taunt on X, nothing has come to fruition since then, and Zuckerberg has said he’s not “holding his breath” for things to actually pan out. For Zuckerberg’s part, he’s truly gone all-in with MMA, even training with UFC champs Alexander Volkanovski and Israel Adesanya. Although Musk does boast a size advantage, combat sports experts know that size isn’t everything if an opponent has the skills to put you in a hold. At the time of writing, Zuckerberg has yet to respond to Musk’s latest callout, leaving fans anxious to see where their feud will go next.

Ellie Zeiler defends Charli D’Amelio after TikTok copying accusations – Dexerto
Ellie Zeiler defends Charli D’Amelio after TikTok copying accusations Instagram: elliezeiler, charlidamelioTikTok star Ellie Zeiler has come under fire in recent times over accusations of “copying” Charli D’Amelio – but now the shoe is on the other foot, and she’s jumped to D’Amelio’s defense. Zeiler herself has 3.4m followers on TikTok at the time of writing, so she doesn’t exactly need to copy others to maintain popularity on the platform. However, she has been frequently accused of imitating D’Amelio, especially as the two look very alike. She was even accused of copying Hype House’s Avani at one point, due to a TikTok that seemed similar to one of Avani’s. Now, though, Ellie has responded to a fan who tried to imply that Charli was doing a bit more than take inspiration from her – and she wasn’t having any of it. After Zeiler made a quirky dance video with the trending “Sweet and Salty” sound on TikTok, D’Amelio created one very similar in style, taking advantage of the trend as is commonplace on almost every social media platform. Obviously, with the ongoing controversy that seems to follow the two, people immediately noticed that Charli had posted her TikTok after Zeiler did, and started to accuse her of copying her “lookalike.” Zeiler was quick to dispel the negativity, though, simply responding to the fan that “it’s a trend” and “not that deep.” It makes a change to see Ellie Zeiler on the other foot, but nonetheless, she probably handled it in the best way possible. D’Amelio herself hasn’t commented publicly on any drama that might exist around the similarities between herself and Zeiler, despite fans regularly seeming to pit them against each other. It’s good, though, to see Ellie trying to remove the two from each other and acknowledge that it simply doesn’t matter who got on a trend first. After all, it is only a TikTok video.

Ellie Zeiler hints at joining Hype House rival Clubhouse in new TikTok – Dexerto
Ellie Zeiler hints at joining Hype House rival Clubhouse in new TikTok Instagram: elliezeilerA new TikTok posted by popular creator Ellie Zeiler has got people thinking, and it looks like she might be joining the Clubhouse in the future. The Clubhouse is similar to the Hype House and Sway LA as it brings together some of the top names on TikTok to collaborate and create videos together. Ran by former Hype House founder Daisy Keech, the collective is also home to the likes of Abby Rao and Isaak Presley. While looking to contend with the likes of the Hype House, Keech seems to be still recruiting for the ensemble, and it looks like the next new member might be Ellie Zeiler, who has been the center of some drama with Charli D’Amelio after being accused of copying her. With that said, it looks like Zeiler has found refuge in a content hub, and although it’s not the Hype House, the Clubhouse is definitely on the come-up after its formation in December 2019. So, let’s take a look at Zeiler’s mysterious new TikTok, which many fans are taking as proof that she’s on her way to the LA mansion. In the below video, Zeiler is seen in what looks to be outside the Clubhouse, and fans will recognize the exterior, though it could have just been a coincidence at first. What can’t be disputed, though, is that it becomes much more clear when two other TikTok stars join the fray: Sebastian Topete and Isaak Presley, both Clubhouse members, jump into the video to join in. With 4.4 million followers, Zeiler would be the second most-followed member of Clubhouse if she were to join, behind only Keech herself. So, it is obvious to = see why this works out for both parties, and it could make for some fun videos coming out of the house.

Ellie Zeiler responds to claims she’s ‘copying’ Charli D’Amelio with new ‘the Ellie’ drink – Dexerto
Ellie Zeiler responds to claims she’s ‘copying’ Charli D’Amelio with new ‘the Ellie’ drink Instagram: elliezeilerTikTok star Ellie Zeiler has responded after people accused her of ‘copying’ Charli D’Amelio’s Dunkin’ Donuts drink called ‘the Charli,’ following the launch of her own matcha drink called ‘the Ellie.’ Since she rose to popularity on TikTok, Ellie Zeiler has been constantly compared to fellow star Charli D’Amelio, who currently is the most followed person on the platform. With the pair making similar content, and having a striking resemblance to each other, Ellie has been unable to escape the comments noting the similarity. She has over 9.6 million followers on TikTok and a substantial platform of her own, but many know her as a result of people comparing her with Charli. Some even said she looks like “Addison Rae and Charli mixed together,” to which she responded: “I look like Ellie Zeiler,” and, “Ellie. My name is Ellie. Please,” trying to reinforce her own identity. But it seems as though the comments are never-ending, as Ellie found out when she posted a video launching her new matcha drink with Erewhon called ‘the Ellie.’ View this post on Instagram Some commenters noted similarities between the branding of her drink, and Charli’s drink at Dunkin’ Donuts. Charli launched her own cold brew coffee called ‘the Charli’ back in September 2020. “The Ellie, you mean like the Charli?” one commenter wrote, another saying, “Okay she’s actually copying Charli now. First the style, now the drink? Charli literally had a drink made for her called ‘Charli,’ now it’s ‘Ellie.” In response to a comment that read, “The Ellie? Please be original at least,” the TikToker said, “What else am I supposed to name something I made.” View this post on Instagram However, there were also plenty of fans defending Ellie, some saying that “not everything is about Charli,” and telling others to stop comparing the two girls. While the video was flooded with comments about TikTok’s most-followed creator, the launch of ‘the Ellie’ matcha drink seemed to be a big success, with many fans telling the star that they tried the drink and loved it.

Ellie Zeiler banned from TikTok for community guidelines violations – Dexerto
Ellie Zeiler banned from TikTok for community guidelines violations Instagram: elliezeilerFans of popular TikToker Ellie Zeiler noticed that her TikTok account has gone missing, with her page now stating that she has been banned for breaking community guidelines. Ellie Zeiler has blazed her own trail on TikTok with viral videos, dances, and clips, but some may know her best for the comparisons made between herself and Charli D’Amelio. The TikToker has over 10 million followers on the platform and has continued to grow over the last year or so. However, her account has gone missing from TikTok, with some fans assuming that she has been banned or hacked, rather than taking a self-imposed break. Fans of the TikToker noticed that her account had disappeared from TikTok on July 4, now displaying an error message if you try to access it. Some fans quickly alerted others, noting that the error message says the page broke multiple community guidelines, and made the disappearance known to different drama pages as they tried to get to the bottom of things. It didn’t take long before others suggested that fans of Cynthia Parker – who Ellie has been apparently been beefing with over the last few months – had mass reported her. Obviously, those claims are unverified. View this post on Instagram Seeing as she doesn’t have a Twitter account, Ellie addressed the TikTok account’s disappearance on an Instagram story, saying she was trying to get it back. “Working on getting my TikTok account back ASAP, ” she stated. “I love you guys, be safe today.” As of writing, Ellie’s TikTok account is still inactive, and it remains to be seen if she’ll get it back anytime soon. If she does, we’ll update this post with any new details from herself or from TikTok themselves.

Ellie Zeiler clarifies “shady” TikTok comments against Charli D’Amelio – Dexerto
Ellie Zeiler clarifies “shady” TikTok comments against Charli D’Amelio Ellie Zeiler, Charli D’Amelio – Instagram[jwplayer mgzBNoPb]TikTok creator Ellie Zeiler, best known for her uncanny resemblance to the platform’s most-followed star, Charli D’Amelio, has clarified a statement that many fans felt was throwing shade toward the viral dancer. Ellie Zeiler rose to fame in May of this year, after fans took notice of her striking similarity to D’Amelio. However, this similarity quickly devolved into controversy, with some even claiming that Zeiler was outright copying D’Amelio’s famous dance moves in a deliberate attempt to imitate her rise to fame. Luckily, this incident quickly became water under the bridge between the two TikTokkers — that is, until recently, when a comment Zeiler made in late June was apparently taken out of context by fans. The comment was in response to fellow creator Ryan Clements, who was seemingly insinuating that Charli was the better version of the two girls. It seems that Zeiler wasn’t too amused by his comment, though, writing back, “But who is that?” as though shading D’Amelio by pulling a Mariah Carey and pretending not to know the site’s biggest star. Fans were quick to jump on this interaction, with many accusing Zeiler of shading the person she has become so famous for looking like — but, according to the TikTokker, her comment was taken out of context. https://www.instagram.com/p/CBohEo5H4D4/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link She explained the situation in a series of replies shortly thereafter, arguing that she had made the statement in reference to Clements, not Charli. “If you go to TikTokRoom, you’ll see I said, ‘Who is that’ to Ryan Clem (the guy who made fun of me),” she wrote. “No disrespect toward Charli.” It doesn’t seem that Ryan is fazed by her apparent shade toward him, though, writing in a reply to the TikTokRoom’s post: “Anyways I’m going to Wal-Mart, do y’all want anything? …Shut up Wal-Mart.” https://www.instagram.com/p/CBohrQGHCsa/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link Thus far, D’Amelio has yet to speak out on the subject, although this wouldn’t be the first time she’s dealt with drama involving Zeiler, not in the least. Despite the past confusion, it seems that Zeiler is bent on supporting TikTok’s queen in wake of this latest scenario, clarifying that she holds nothing but goodwill toward Charli in spite of fans’ speculation to the contrary.

Sometimes these trends manage to revive an older song, like Brooks & Dunn’s 1996 hit Neon Moon. Ellie Goulding is one of the latest musicians to have their song brought back to life, as her song ‘Lights’ is the soundtrack behind the viral Car Wash trend. During a recent Audacy Check In with Bru, Ellie revealed her thoughts about the recent resurgence of her song. Ellie Goulding’s TikTok viral ‘Lights’ song During their interview, Bru asked Ellie what she thought about her song ‘Lights’ popping off on TikTok. She replied: “It’s so surreal, that is the last thing I expected with that song. You assume that once a song has been out there, it’s done… but TikTok has created just like this whole new way of people just discovering music. And making their own content with it… I think it’s really great! I think it can only be a really positive thing. “I love the fact that this [is a] song that I released 10 years ago or something and now people are hearing it for the first time — that’s wild to me. It makes me so happy… when I see those videos. When I can’t sleep or when I’m anxious, I watch these videos of everyone dancing to ‘Lights’ and it’s very sweet.” (Topic starts at 2:06 in the video) TikTok’s viral Car Wash trend has users taking their cars to a car wash, lathering them up with soap, and dancing. It was remixed by a TikToker named Em1r, and at the time of writing the sound has been used over 300,000 times. Even though it’s not the original version of her song that’s gone viral, fans are mostly doing the leg work, making it a point to ensure everyone knows what the original song is.

Elle Brooke calls for fight with former UFC & WWE champ Ronda Rousey Instagram: thedumbledongOnlyFans model turned influencer boxer Elle Brooke has revealed her “dream match” going forward would be to step in the ring with former UFC & WWE champion Ronda Rousey. Early on in her career, Brooke found fame through her OnlyFans content. However, the influencer has taken a dramatic shift in recent months, setting her sights on in-ring competitions. Since making this transition, Brooke has managed to secure a 3-1 record in the ring. The 25-year-old is already preparing for her next bout, a rematch with Love Island star AJ Bunker whom she managed to outpoint over four rounds during her boxing debut a year and a half ago. And while Brooke does already have her next fight lined up, the OnlyFans star turned boxer is setting her sights on even more matches and one particular opponent. In an interview with talkSPORT.com, Brooke revealed that she would most want to step in the ring with former UFC & WWE champion Ronda Rousey. “A really huge fight like Paige VanZant or Ronda Rousey,” Brooke began. “Someone like that, but then in between I need that Astrid [Wett] fight…I don’t think those fights would ever work without that one because that is the money fight, that could be like a main [event].” Over the past decade, the name Ronda Rousey has become a household one, in large part due to her domination during her run as champion in the UFC and then her run in the WWE. Elle Brooke under fire for racist comments after Prime Card boxing announcement – Dexerto
Elle Brooke under fire for racist comments after Prime Card boxing announcement FredTalksFightingOnlyFans model and influencer Elle Brooke has come under fire for racist comments towards professional boxer Luis Pineda after a recent Prime Card announcement. The upcoming Prime Card is expected to be the biggest boxing event we’ve seen to date, where not only KSI and Tommy Fury will go head to head, but we’ll also be seeing Logan Paul and Dillon Danis touch gloves in the ring on the same night. While the co-main events are two firey bouts that have been long in the making, the slew of undercard fights are just as exciting, where the likes of Deen The Great and Walid Sharks are set to throw down again, while Anthony Taylor and King Kenny are also set to fight for the light heavyweight title. When it comes to influencer boxing, almost nothing is off-limits. The Prime Card will also feature another tag-team boxing match. This time we’ll see the winner of the Misfits 008 four-man survival tag match team up with Alex Wassabi, where they’ll face face Luis Pineda & Bdave in the ring. Elle Brooke slammed for “racist” comments Some weren’t pleased with the announcement, as influencer boxer and OnlyFans model Elle Brooke took to Twitter/X on September 17 to criticize the decision to have Pineda on the card. “I am a talentless wh*re, but they really out here building a career for some Mexican bum that says one word over and over,” she wrote. “The simple minds of men pays my bills but also confuses me. Vamosssss.” However, the influencer quickly backtracked, editing the tweet to remove the “Mexican bum” comment. It’s fair to say Elle has since faced a ton of backlash from fans, with many calling her out for the racist remark. “Casual racism,” said one. “Nothing like a bit of racism on a Monday morning ehh Elle,” said another. “Lol you deleted the older one. Hopefully you get scrapped from influencer boxing,” a third added, while others jumped to Pineda’s defense. “Pineda is out here working his ass off,” one user wrote. “Boxing ain’t the only thing he does. If you saw the documentary about him, you would know what his life is like over in Mexico.” Pineda is set to make his return to the ring on October 14 after knocking streaming star Ice Poseidon to the canvas earlier this year.

Elira Pendora’s 3D debut will open up doors for NIJISANJI EN, VTuber claims – Dexerto
Elira Pendora’s 3D debut will open up doors for NIJISANJI EN, VTuber claims YouTube: Elira PendoraElira Pendora, and the rest of NIJISANJI EN’s first wave in Lazulight, are finally getting their 3D debuts following plenty of delays. The new models will open up more opportunities than ever before, Elira told fans ahead of her January 13 debut. NIJISANJI EN were expected to get their 3D outfits in a mega debut at NIJIfes 2022 late last year. However those plans were sadly canceled due to bad weather and visa issues keeping Pomu Rainpuff and Finana Ryugu out. While Elira got up on stage alongside Hana Macchia, it wasn’t really the proper debut Lazulight wanted. So they’re running it back again to start 2023, with Elira Pendora starting the 3D outfit debut run on January 13. The star VTuber stated she was “really nervous” on her January 9 return stream, but spoke openly about how getting a 3D form will open up more doors for the agency’s talents. “The thing that’s good about a 3D stream is that it opens up opportunity for more things to happen in 3D later down the line,” she said. “It gives a lot of leeway for other things to be able to start happening. “The debut is just the beginning, the first 3D stream is just the beginning. After you do your debut or reveal, that’s when you can start actually doing things. The 3D reveal is just the tip of the iceberg, which is really exciting.” She started listing off all the grand plans NIJISANJI and Lazulight have for the future. Pre-recorded videos in 3D, or perhaps concerts and live concerts like Hololive’s biggest talents have been hosting, are not far out of the equation. There will still be some challenges, but Elira is confident they will be able to deliver on some “high-quality content” fans of the English branch have been waiting nearly two years for. “It opens up more possibilities like doing 3D collabs or pre-recorded videos in 3D, or doing concerts or lives. It opens up a lot more possibilities, and I’m really excited for that. “Hopefully this year we can do more with 3D — that’s my hope. Now the three of us will have our 3D debuts finally. “It’ll probably take a long time — maybe not a long time, but because it’s difficult… We can’t just go to the studio whenever we want because we live so far [away]. It sounds so bad to say that hopefully we can take more time off and do things like that and we can deliver more high-quality content… but I hope we can do more things this year.” Elira Pendora’s 3D debut is penned for January 13, 2023 at 5PM PT / 8PM ET. Finana Ryugu’s will be on January 20 at the same time and Pomu Rainpuff a week later on January 27, also at 5PM PT / 8PM ET.

Elevator at Instagram-famous Bali hotel kills 5 people after crashing into ravine – Dexerto
Elevator at Instagram-famous Bali hotel kills 5 people after crashing into ravine Instagram: Ayuterra ResortFive staff members of an Instagram-famous hotel in Bali have died after an elevator in the resort crashed 300 feet down into a ravine. The Ayuterra Resort in Bali is a super-popular travel destination for influencers, famous for its luxurious scenic views, creature comforts, and an outdoor elevator that became somewhat of a viral experience for guests to post online. The elevator offered a jaw-dropping view of the hotel’s surrounding scenery, taking guests from the top of a ridge to the ground level of the resort where the business’ facilities are located. However, an issue with that very elevator has resulted in the deaths of five people who worked at the resort, as reported by the Bali Sun. Deadly elevator incident in Instagram-famous hotel kills five employees On September 1, five hotel workers stepped into the elevator — but its cable snapped, sending the crew plummeting down an estimated 300 feet into a ravine. Two of the five workers reportedly died on impact, while the other three succumbed to their injuries after being transported to a hospital. The victims were 20-year-old Ni Luh Supernigsih, 23-year-old I Wayan Aries Setiawan, 19-year-old Kadek Yanti Pradewi, 24-year-old Kadek Hardiyanti, and 19-year-old Sang Putu Bayu Adi Krisna. In a statement to the Bali Sun, Ubud Police Commissioner Made Uder claimed that the rope pulling the elevator up was not strong enough and eventually snapped. “The steel swing rope was not strong enough to pull the weight upwards, which was quite heavy, and the safety wedge or brake did not function, so the elevator slid downwards at high speed so this accident could not be avoided,” Uder said. “As a result, the five elevator passengers died.” An investigation into the tragedy is currently underway, and guests who were staying at the resort at the time of the incident have been relocated during the examination and mourning proceedings. Locals have offered their condolences in the aftermath, grieving the five young people whose lives were suddenly lost on the brink of starting their careers.

Elephant vs rhino clash goes in viral as animals “fight for supremacy” – Dexerto
Elephant vs rhino clash goes in viral as animals “fight for supremacy” Twitter/WildfriendsUGAn epic head-to-head encounter between an elephant and a rhino is going viral after the two animals engaged in a “fight for supremacy.” If you’ve ever wondered who would win in a fight between an elephant and a rhino, you now have an answer and video proof to go with it. It’s not every day that you get to see two large animals like this start fighting, but that’s exactly what happened in a viral scrap that even rivals some of the best human brawls we’ve covered. Uploaded by Wildfriends Africa, the video begins with a rhino staring down an elephant much larger than it and refusing to back down, instead charging straight forward into the belly of the beast. Rhino versus elephant fight goes viral After the rhino charged forward, the elephant held its ground and marched forward, intimating the smaller animal. Refusing to surrender, however, the rhino engaged, smashing into the elephant only to be tackled and nearly crushed under its large foot, trunk, and tusks. At this point, the rhino had no choice but to run off, leaving the elephant to trumpet triumphantly. “These kinds of fights erupt when one of the giants is disturbed, provoked or is competing for food & water. In this case, it was a rhino who arrogantly tried to scare off an elephant,” Wildfriends explained. Since being uploaded, the video was viewed thousands of times and was reuploaded onto other accounts with users calling the battle a “fight for supremacy.” This was definitely one heck of an altercation and some big proof that sometimes size does matter.

Though the elderly woman could potentially have dementia, viewers of the viral TikTok have said they wouldn’t last a minute taking care of the woman. Elderly woman spits in caretaker’s face In a TikTok shared by zasta2030, who frequently shares viral videos, an at-home caretaker displayed the ultimate patience with the elderly woman she was looking after. During their encounter, the elderly woman picked up a knife and held it to the caretaker as she was trying to put together a salad. The caretaker couldn’t even dice up tomatoes without the elderly woman grabbing at her arms or throwing lettuce at her. Not only that, but the elderly woman spat in the face of the caretaker. She also repeatedly said she wouldn’t stop attempting to hurt the caretaker after being asked to do so. Despite the blatant abuse, the caretaker was extremely patient with the elderly woman, as she only asked her to stop once — keeping quiet for the majority of the violence. Viewers of the viral TikTok have commented with support for the elderly woman, as it was apparent that she had dementia or Alzheimer’s. However, others mentioned they wouldn’t put up with the assaults, especially since it was consistent and also a safety hazard. One viewer also said the caretaker’s check should “ increase abundantly” for having to put up with what was going on. Though it’s unknown how much the caretaker does for the elderly woman, it was clear that she genuinely cares about her, as she showed nothing short of compassion.

El Rubius challenges xQc to boxing match during Ibai’s La Velada Del Año II – Dexerto
El Rubius challenges xQc to boxing match during Ibai’s La Velada Del Año II Twitch: IbaiSpanish Twitch sensation El Rubius has officially challenged xQc to a fight during Ibai’s La Velada Del Año II boxing event after more than a year of the two bantering over the internet. Rubén “El Rubius” Gundersen took the stage at the record-breaking La Velada Del Año II creator boxing event and shocked the world by making a big time callout. The Norwegian-Spanish superstar kept it brief and clear for his longtime internet nemesis Félix “xQc” Lengyel: “X, I’m waiting for you…come.” El Rubius issues boxing match challenge to xQc During an interview in the middle of the Rubius used the platform to amplify the request, which he initially made in 2021. While he had the eyes of the world on him though, El Rubius raised the stakes and clarified that all that needs to happen if for xQc to agree. He did have one request though — neither participate can train before the fight. This beef has been brewing for quite some time. Back in May of 2021 the two traded comments about the possibility of a fight after Rubius raised the possibility of showdown between the two, “I want to fight you. I [will] kick your a**. Stop copying me.” It didn’t take long for Lengyel to respond to that proposition, but he largely kept things light. In his official response to that first challenge, the former Overwatch pro joked about having the reach advantage and revealed that he would simply play the stamina game in any theoretical bout. He demonstrated his capabilities by doing a brief crab crawl around his room before collapsing back into his chair. The full-time streamer has yet to acknowledge the most recent challenge, but it surely won’t take long for him to reveal his decision. If and when he does respond, we’ll be sure to provide an update with his response.

Elderly couple books 51 cruises because it’s cheaper than a nursing home – Dexerto
Elderly couple books 51 cruises because it’s cheaper than a nursing home YouTube: A Current AffairAn elderly couple had been at sea for around 500 days, having booked 51 cruises because it’s cheaper than living in a nursing home. An elderly couple just might be starting a new wave for other older couples who are seeking an affordable living situation as they age. Though unheard of, Jess and Marty Ansen set sail on their first of many back-to-back cruises in June of 2022. The Australian couple were at sea for over a year, as they admitted that cruising was cheaper than a nursing home. Being great-grandparents as well, the Ansen’s also take the time to visit their family members at various locations around the world — when they’re not enjoying the many perks of being aboard a cruise ship, of course. Marty Ansen says cruising is a “wonderful life” Jess and Marty Ansen hopped aboard a Princess Cruise ship on June 16, 2022. Though the Ansen’s would see many people come and go, the elderly couple decided that spending more than 450 days on board was a good idea after seeing just how expensive a nursing home would be. Knowing that they would be cruising for over a year, the Ansen’s, who are also great-grandparents, made sure that they would be able to still see their family along the way, meeting them at various ports. Though they’ve kept busy visiting their grandchildren, enjoying dance halls, endless food, comedy shows, and other perks of a cruise ship, Marty told A Current Affair that his favorite part about living on the ship was making “lifelong friends.” However, when together, the Ansen’s enjoy playing ping pong in the morning, followed by an early afternoon on their balcony with a few adult beverages while looking at the glory of their destination. Additionally, Marty told A Current Affair that he and his wife no longer have to worry about making their bed, saying, “Now, we don’t have to wash up anymore or make the bed. We don’t know how to make a bed because we haven’t done it for so long, so now we have to stay on board just to stay alive.” Having been aboard the Princess Cruise ship for so long, it’s no surprise that the Ansen’s have also begun getting recognized, as they told A Current Affair that they’ve been able to bond with crew members and those who have heard their story. The Ansen’s have no intention of leaving the ship either. They’ll be cruising for eight more months with Princess Cruises and at least one more year afterward on a separate cruise ship. And though they’ve done so to save money, Marty couldn’t help but admit that he indeed was living a “wonderful life.”

Elderly security guard goes viral for dance moves at Taylor Swift concert – Dexerto
Elderly security guard goes viral for dance moves at Taylor Swift concert TikTok: JayAndyEvans & Jeff SkibiskiA security guard has gone viral for busting out her dance moves at Taylor Swift’s Eras concert, with multiple concertgoers uploading videos of her. With Taylor Swift deciding to go on tour and perform songs with every one of her iconic albums, getting a hold of tickets was a nightmare. So much so that ticket sellers had to stop selling tickets at one point completely. Months on from that, the singer-songwriter has finally started performing at stadiums across the United States in front of thousands of adoring Swifites who managed to get tickets. No, we’re not jealous at all. Naturally, some have started uploading videos from their experience. Though, it’s an older Swiftie that has caught the attention recently, especially for her dance moves, even though she didn’t buy a ticket to be there. Security guard Pocket goes viral for dancing at Taylor Swift Eras concert That’s right, let us introduce the security guard that goes by the name of Pocket. She was caught by two different TikTokers grooving and singing away to Blank Space during the show in Glendale, Arizona. One of the clips, uploaded by JayAndyEvans, has gotten over 12 million views, while the other, which was posted by Jeff Skibiski, has managed to rack up over 5.5 million views as of writing. “Our security guard named Pocket gave hugs and is a 1989 girlie through and through,” jayandyevans said in her caption. “Petition for Taylor to invite Pocket to the rest of #theerastour,” added Jeff. They weren’t the only Swifties in love with Pockets, as thousands of fans left comments about her under the clips. “Pocket couldn’t get tickets so she got this job instead. Pocket is an iconic genius,” joked one. “I didn’t know I was going to wake up and be the #1 fan of a woman named Pocket, but here we are,” added another. “This is Pocket’s tour now,” another commented. Security guards going viral for dancing is not a new thing, but Pocket has certainly raised the bar. So, the challenge is on for anyone else who works the Eras tour.

Using his pro gamer skills, he became popular for finding creative ways to kill opponents with the full arsenal of weapons available in the game. EightThoughts mod reportedly admits to being paid to bring gun to Drift0r’s home – Dexerto
EightThoughts mod reportedly admits to being paid to bring gun to Drift0r’s home Twitter, @SweatyTesties / Twitter, @Drift0rIn a direct contradiction of EightThoughts’ statements, his Discord mod, Blu, has reportedly confessed that there was a deal in place to pay him for going to Drift0r’s home with a gun. In the fallout from FaZe Swagg and NICKMERCS discussing legal action against content creators, like EightThoughts, who make negative videos about them, more details have begun to emerge about Drift0r’s experience. After NICKMERCS defended Swagg from TikTok cheat accusations and was attacked on social media for getting EightThoughts’ YouTube channel taken down, Drift0r got involved as well. The popular YouTuber shared proof used in an earlier legal dispute against EightThoughts and one of his Discord mods, Blu. The situation is a very complicated one and certain claims have since been publicly disputed by EightThoughts on Twitter. Now, though, Blu is directly contradicting a specific denial. According to Drama Alert’s KEEMSTAR, the Discord mod claims that he and the YouTuber “had a deal” in which he would receive all stream donations during a stream in which he brought a gun to Drift0r’s home. Eight Thoughts ‘discord mod “Blu” who showed up to Drift0r’s house with a gun. Just said in interview 8Thoughts & him had a deal. 8thoughts would stream Blu going to Drift0r house on twitch & Blu would keep stream donations. 8Thoughts channels have been banned on YouTube. — KEEM 🍿 (@KEEMSTAR) April 8, 2021 As Drift0r has previously explained, his litigation against EightThoughts and Blu led to the Discord mod being arrested, but little consequence for the YouTuber allegedly puppeteering his mod’s behavior. While Drift0r alleges that the armed visit to his home was orchestrated by EightThoughts, the accused publicly claimed that he “told Blu, ‘don’t’.” Read more: Drift0r & NICKMERCS vs EightThoughts drama – KEEMSTAR’s latest report is therefore a direct contradiction of that statement. For many, it is difficult to logically equate wanting someone to do something and offering them the opportunity to “keep stream donations” if they did do that thing. This appears to be the general reaction, as many have pointed out inconsistencies in EightThoughts’ responses. Drift0r, too, took notice of this contradiction — as evidenced in his reply to KEEMSTAR’s tweet. As seen in Drift0r’s response, he’s not sure that “the police have even heard about this yet.” That lack of confession would explain why Blu was arrested while EightThoughts was not. Still, until KEEMSTAR’s interview is released or made available to authorities, this remains unverified. When KEEMSTAR’s interview surfaces, and especially if Blu has proof of the alleged “deal,” then it is possible that this situation returns to court. However, it should be re-emphasized that nothing is proven at the moment. On the accused side, EightThoughts appears to remain steadfast in his denials based on numerous Twitter replies.

Edison Park gives heartwarmingly honest verdict on Fuslie’s Twitch streams – Dexerto
Edison Park gives heartwarmingly honest verdict on Fuslie’s Twitch streams Instagram: fuslie / Twitch: Edison ParkTwitch streamer Edison Park gave his adorable take on his ex-fiancé and fellow streamer, Fuslie’s, broadcasts — with some humorous criticisms thrown in, of course. Edison Park and Leslie ‘Fuslie’ Fu broke the internet when Park proposed to Fu as a way to end his record-breaking 30-day Twitch stream back in 2019. The heartwarming, viral moment seemed to hint at an unbreakable bond between the two streamers — but the couple announced the end of their engagement in 2021, claiming they had “ultimately grown apart” from each other. The news came as a shock to fans… but things seem to be just fine between the ex-couple, who even appear on each other’s broadcasts from time to time and remain on openly friendly terms. Edison Park says Fuslie is “one of the most talented creators on Twitch” In fact, Park had (mostly) nothing but good things to say about ex-fiancé Fuslie’s presence on Twitch, citing her as “straight up, one of the most talented content creators on Twitch” in a recent broadcast. “I honestly saw that in her since the very early stages of our relationship,” he said. “When we first started dating, I didn’t really know what Twitch was. Just the way she’s very bubbly, she’s very funny.” “She’s cute, she’s — okay, she’s s**t at games, alright?” Park joked. “Leslie, if you see this, I’m sorry, but it’s true. You suck at video games, okay? But just because she sucks, doesn’t mean it’s not fun to watch her.” Since their breakup last year, Fuslie has gone on to release an original song and has made GTA roleplaying a huge part of her current repertoire. It seems like things are on the up and up for both broadcasters, who aren’t shy about showing their support for each other in spite of their split nearly half a year ago.

Educational hacker hits out at Twitch following “indefinite” ban – Dexerto
Educational hacker hits out at Twitch following “indefinite” ban Streamer nahamsec, a ‘hacker’ who streams his work for educational purposes, is facing an “indefinite” ban from Twitch as of October 1, and has hit out at the platform over the suspension. Ben Sadeghipour, also known as nahamsec, regularly uploads videos to YouTube and livestreams his efforts finding and solving bugs. This practice is more commonly known as ‘white hat’, referring to ethical computer hackers, and nahamsec managed to amass over 5000 YouTube subscribers and over 3000 Twitch followers doing this prior to his suspension. The streamer’s shock at the ban was more than apparent when he first tweeted out that it had happened, simply saying “WHAT. THE. F**K”. He followed this up by saying: “I would like to take back all my comments around YouTube TOS. Time to pack my c**p and move over to YouTube.” I would like to take back all my comments around YouTube TOS. Time to pack my crap and move over to YouTube 🙂 — Ben Sadeghipour (@NahamSec) October 1, 2019 In a later tweet, the hacker confirmed that this wasn’t going to stop him from streaming regardless of the outcome. He said: “…no way I’m gonna stop because Twitch decided to ban me. They are looking into this as far as I know but I don’t know if I want to stay on there anymore unless I get to talk to someone at Twitch about this directly.” He later confirmed that he had recently applied to become a Twitch Partner and thought the email he received was to confirm that he was getting partnered. Whatever the problem here, though, YouTube may not be the solution. As stated in their guidelines regarding harmful or dangerous content such as “Instructional hacking and phishing: Showing users how to bypass secure computer systems or steal user credentials and personal data”, this is against Terms of Service and may result in issues going forward. However, they also state that videos for the purpose of education are allowed, and nahamsec would claim that his content falls under the educational umbrella. The hacker has stayed in contact with Twitch throughout this process and says that they are looking into it, but the channel remains unavailable and suspended at the time of writing.

Eddie Hearn reveals how much money AnEsonGib wanted to fight Jake Paul – Dexerto
Eddie Hearn reveals how much money AnEsonGib wanted to fight Jake Paul In an interview following the massive KSI vs Logan Paul boxing event, Eddie Hearn has revealed how much money British YouTuber AnEsonGib wants for his proposed fight against Logan’s brother, Jake. KSI vs Logan Paul was undoubtedly one of the biggest boxing events in recent history, outshining the likes of national hero Anthony Joshua to become the most-bought pay-per-view boxing event in the United Kingdom in 2019. There’s also no doubt that both fighters would have added a lot of money to their bank account off the back of this fight, with most rumors suggesting each fighter had a multi-million dollar contract, making the fight even more worthwhile than it already was. One fight that people seemingly managed to forget about though, was the one between Jake Paul and AnEsonGib that never took place, despite some fantastic hype and build-up in the weeks leading up to the event in Los Angeles. Though the fight between Gib and Jake Paul has not yet come to fruition, based on his response in an interview with iFL TV, promoter Eddie Hearn believes it’s still a possibility – but that Gib’s requested income could be a little higher than expected. Asked about the possibility of the two getting themselves on a card and whether it’s realistic, Hearn said: “It is [realistic]. It’s just a case of like… Gib wants $1 million doesn’t he,” bursting out laughing as the interviewer refers to him as “Seven Figure Gibber.” Continuing, Hearn said: “I don’t know how big Gib is. I don’t think he’s as big as Jake Paul but I must say, I really enjoyed being around those boys (referencing Gib as well as Ethan ‘Behzinga’ Payne and Joe Weller) and I thought they were brilliant all week.” (Timestamp 14:21 for mobile users) Hearn went on to say that he’d like to keep all of these people involved in boxing somehow, be it through commentary, reporting or another avenue, and continuing to turn their viewers into boxing fans. He also said, though, that he would prefer to have another fight with KSI or Logan Paul taking on one of the many A-List celebrities that have supposedly reached out to him in the lead-up to and following the fight. Though he hasn’t named his possible A-List fighters, he said that these are people he knows could fight and would work hard to make themselves pro. Gib later tweeted out a clip from the video, saying: “Specifically, I WANT 5MILL IN CASH!” Specifically, I WANT 5MILL IN CASH!!! pic.twitter.com/x0HirOmNHc — Ali (@AnEsonGib) November 13, 2019 Though it’s not been confirmed how much KSI and Logan Paul each made from the fight, it seems Hearn feels Gib asking for $1 million may be a little bit excessive. evidenced no better than through his smile when he mentions it, clearly unable to keep a straight face at the thought. Regardless, it’s looking very possible we see Gib on a fight card at some point in the near future, though whether he makes the money he wants from it remains to be seen.

Eddie Hearn warns KSI against fighting “real boxer” Jake Paul – Dexerto
Eddie Hearn warns KSI against fighting “real boxer” Jake Paul INSTAGRAM: KSI/EDDIE HEARN/Jake PaulSports promoter Eddie Hearn has warned KSI against fighting his long-time rival Jake Paul, claiming the YouTuber is on a different level. Hearn recently appeared on the DAZN Boxing Show, addressing a potential fight between KSI and Jake Paul, warning KSI that a fight between the two could be “dangerous.” “Jake is a different category” Hearn said. “I don’t even class Jake as YouTube boxer anymore, I class him as a real boxer.” He concluded that “KSI’s probably not [on Paul’s level] because of the training. He’s taken a couple of years out, he’s come back, whereas Jake Paul trains like a proper fighter. That would be a very dangerous fight for KSI.” KSI and Jake Paul have both boxed as amateurs and professionals. KSI had his first amateur bout in 2018, when he drew with Logan Paul before defeating him in a professional match a year later. He has not stepped in the ring since then. Paul, however, remains undefeated with a professional record of 5-0, knocking out every opponent he has faced. Three weeks ago, KSI took to Twitter offering to step in for Tommy Fury, after he dropped out of his scheduled boxing match against Paul. The match was canceled due to Fury being denied entry to the US. Paul responded to the tweet by claiming that KSI is “not on my level in boxing or the boxing biz”. Eventually, Fury was replaced by Hasim Rahman Jr, who will take on Paul on August 6. Who is Hasim Rahman Jr? Jake Paul’s new opponent Hasim Rahman Jr is the son of former heavyweight champion Hasim Rahman. He is also a former sparring partner of Paul. The 31-year-old amateur boxer is currently ranked 53rd in the pound-for-pound rankings in the USA, having won 12 and lost only one of his fights so far. He recently accused Paul of “running away” from him, and he warned him: “I’m going to f**k you up.” Jake Paul vs Hasim Rahman Jr bout starts on August 6 at around 11.00pm ET, while KSI will return to the ring after almost three years out to face Alex Wassabi on August 27.

Eddie Hearn responds to backlash over KSI vs Logan Paul 2 – Dexerto
Eddie Hearn responds to backlash over KSI vs Logan Paul 2 Fighthype.com, YouTube / Logan Paul, TwitterYouTube stars KSI and Logan Paul are set to throw down in the boxing ring once more on November 9 – but not everyone is pleased with the rematch, which is taking social media beef to the next level by “going pro.” Unlike their initial bout in August 2018, the KSI vs Logan Paul rematch will not feature any other YouTube stars on its undercard: instead, only professional fighters will be throwing down at the event, including British pro boxer Billy Joe Saunders defending his world super middleweight title. Both KSI and Logan Paul are foregoing headgear, as well, giving their bout a major leg up – a development that boxing promoter Eddie Hearn claimed would help new faces see “the greatness of our sport.” However, not everyone is pleased with this change, with some fans of the pro boxing scene confused and upset that two YouTubers are being featured in a professional bout – but Hearn claims that the backlash isn’t bothering him, and even claims to love the controversy. Read More: Dr Disrespect shares his secrets to success – “I love it,” Hearn said of the criticism. “In fact, it makes me really horny, the more stick I get. …just, I love it. I feel great. I mean, I love the fact that it winds people up. They’re so, sort of narrow-minded and unintelligent to see division.” KSI and Logan Paul may not be the only YouTubers fighting on the card, however: Team 10 co-founder Jake Paul has reportedly secured a professional boxing license to take part in the event, leading some fans to question if he’ll finally throw down with MMA fighter Dillon Danis to end their long-running beef. The highly-anticipated rematch will take place at the Los Angeles Staples Center on November 9, with live streaming provided by sports broadcasting site DAZN, rather than YouTube, itself. Although now on pre-sale, in-person tickets for the bout will go live on September 14 – the very same day as the fight’s press conference, which KSI claimed might take a different turn from their heated conference in 2018. With both Logan and Jake Paul hoping to pursue careers in professional fighting, their participation in a pro boxing card could mean a major change of pace for the YouTubers – and with just two months left before the rematch goes live, there’s no telling how YouTube’s highly anticipated rematch will pan out.

Eddie Hearn reveals date for possible Jake Paul vs AnEsonGib boxing match – Dexerto
Eddie Hearn reveals date for possible Jake Paul vs AnEsonGib boxing match A possible date for the highly-anticipated boxing match between YouTubers Jake Paul and AnEsonGib may have been set by Eddie Hearn, with the pair slated to face off in early 2020. The pair have been itching to get in the ring with each other for months, with the content creators involved in a heated confrontation at the London press conference for the KSI vs Logan Paul rematch, which saw the Brit win by split decision in Los Angeles. Fans went into high alert when both Paul and AnEsonGib posted Instagram stories on December 16 teasing a big announcement, and according to boxingscene.com, the news is that the pair are finally set to enter the squared circle in early 2020. Speaking to Boxing Scene, Eddie Hearn stated that he was close to finalizing a deal between the two YouTube stars for a bout to take place on January 30 in Miami, Florida. The fight will act as the co-main event for the DAZN show which will feature a middleweight title fight between Demetrius Andrade and Luke Keeler as the headliner, ousting the Tevin Farmer versus Joseph Diaz super featherweight championship fight out of the co-main spot. According to Hearn, the bout will be a professional one scheduled for six rounds, which means much like KSI and Logan Paul’s fight, neither man will be wearing protective headgear when the action begins. Jake Paul was desperate to appear on the undercard of his brother’s Los Angeles pay-per-view after knocking out Deji in Manchester in 2018, but had to accept a future fight against another YouTuber when promoter Hearn appeared uninterested in including him at the Staples Center. The American has already confirmed that he’s currently in a training camp, working with seven-time champion ‘Sugar’ Shane Mosley as he seemingly prepares for his January 30 fight against his British rival. Of course, the fight has yet to be officially finalized, but it appears that Hearn has finally got Paul and AnEsonGib to step into the ring together, something which many fans have been crying out for.

Eddie Hearn explains why Logan Paul vs Mike Tyson would trump Mayweather fight – Dexerto
Eddie Hearn explains why Logan Paul vs Mike Tyson would trump Mayweather fight Instagram/miketyson/Amanda Westcott for SHOWTIMEBoxing promoter Eddie Hearn thinks that the rumored boxing match between Logan Paul and Mike Tyson is a bad idea, but he also thinks it will be better than the YouTuber’s bout with Floyd Mayweather. Legendary boxer Mike Tyson is looking to make his return to the ring in February and reports have swirled that he will be battling The Maverick in what could be on the wildest spectacles to date. While many are excited for the potential contest, including former UFC champion Michael Bisping who believes Tyson will send the elder Paul brother to the hospital, boxing promoter Eddie Hearn isn’t as onboard. During an appearance on True Geordie, he was asked for his thoughts on the fight and offered up some surprising criticism, even comparing it to Logan’s exhibition against Floyd Mayweather. (Segment begins at 1:22:25) Hearn more excited for Paul vs Tyson than Mayweather fight When asked what he thought of the fight as a possibility, Hearn didn’t pull any punches and slammed the rumored match while still preferring it over the Paul vs Mayweather bout. “I prefer that, and I can’t believe I’m saying this, I prefer that to Floyd and Logan. That fight was absolutely a load of bull,” he remarked. “I thought ‘what?’ You’ve got a pound for pound great again against a bloke that, I mean, not can’t fight, but it was horrible.” Interestingly, Logan and Mayweather’s fight was applauded by many, including podcast host Joe Rogan who praised it as an entertaining “freak show.” “It was horrible to watch,” he added. “Tyson, it shouldn’t happen, but at least I would want to find out what happens in that fight.” Only time will tell if Logan and Tyson do in fact duke it out and if it ends up being more entertaining than when the YouTuber took on Floyd. In any case, hopefully, we can find out by February.

Eddie Hearn hints multiple celebrities want to fight KSI & Logan Paul – Dexerto
Eddie Hearn hints multiple celebrities want to fight KSI & Logan Paul YouTube stars KSI and Logan Paul settled their grudge once and for all in the boxing ring on November 9. However, it doesn’t look like their fighting careers are ending anytime soon, according to promoter Eddie Hearn. While the two YouTubers claimed their beef is officially over, other major names in the entertainment biz are looking to throw down with the internet stars in wake of their massive boxing event. According to a statement from Hearn provided by Sky Sports Boxing, a number of A-list celebrities are chomping at the bit for a chance at taking on both KSI and Logan Paul – some of whom could prove a major threat in the ring. “Five or six calls this week from probably the highest-profile people in their fields,” Hearn admitted in the aftermath of the viral rematch. “Sports, music, acting – who don’t say anything but, ‘Can I fight the winner?’ So now, we have to look at that. By the way, two or three of them can really fight.” As for the celebs in question, Hearn claimed that he’d “promised” he wouldn’t let their names slip – but one top fighter has made it very clear that he’s up for the challenge. Professional boxer Tommy Fury presented an open challenge to KSI during a November 11 press conference with BT Boxing, calling for a duel between two British boxers. “I’ve heard he wants to continue fighting, so if he wants a real fight, he knows where I am,” Fury asserted. “I’m saying to KSI, if you want it, you know where it is. I’m young and we are both from that influencing world – he is from YouTube, I am from Love Island. We both have a great following here in the UK. Why not make it a battle of Britain?” While Fury may be a professional fighter, celebs like Justin Bieber have likewise been involved in the KSI vs LP narrative – and although he hasn’t issued an official challenge, KSI claims that a fight with the celeb would end in Bieber getting “destroyed.” For now, it looks like KSI is resting up, although Logan Paul is open to bouts with pro MMA fighters following his boxing loss.

Eddie Hearn claims SaltPapi beats Jake Paul in a boxing match – Dexerto
Eddie Hearn claims SaltPapi beats Jake Paul in a boxing match Sky SportsBoxing promoter Eddie Hearn has revealed he believes that Salt Papi would beat Jake Paul in a boxing match. First making his debut against comedian Halal Ham on the Deji vs. Alex Wassabi undercard, Salt Papi has quickly won the hearts of many influencer boxing fans. The TikTok star then returned to the ring to face Andy Warski — who he took down with great ease — and ever since he’s become a fan-favorite fighter on KSI’s Misfits roster. Furthermore, the 28-year-old put his skills to the test by stepping into the ring with Josh Brueckner. While many believed Brueckner could give him a run for his money, Papi still remains undefeated. His moves within the influencer boxing scene have caught the attention of boxing promoter Eddie Hearn, who believes Salt Papi could beat Jake Paul if given the opportunity. Eddie Hearn believes Salt Papi beats Jake Paul In an interview with Seconds Out Boxing, Hearn was asked if Salt Papi could take down Jake Paul if the two ever stepped into the ring. To the surprise of many, the boxing promoter revealed he believes that the Philippine-born fighter would actually beat Jake. “Ooh, Yes,” Eddie said with a bit of hesitation. “I rate Salt Papi – I think he’s good. Southpaw, pretty sharp. I like him because he’s a very similar physique to me. You know, like mans man.” It’s unclear whether a fight could happen this year, as Jake’s eyes are currently set on stepping in the ring with Tommy Fury before he gears up to touch gloves with KSI later this year. However, fans would definitely love to see a bout between the two at some point.

Eddie Hearn explains why he “still likes” Conor McGregor versus Jake Paul – Dexerto
Eddie Hearn explains why he “still likes” Conor McGregor versus Jake Paul Instagram/Jakepaul/ConormcGregorBoxing promoter Eddie Hearn weighed in on the possibility of Jake Paul fighting Conor McGregor and why he thinks the Irishman would win over the YouTuber. Jake Paul has been trying to score a fight against UFC icon Conor McGregor for a long time, going as far as even saying he would battle The Notorious in the octagon instead of a boxing ring. While the fight has yet to be booked, that hasn’t stopped the bad blood between the two from escalating with McGregor mocking Paul’s appearance at Katie Taylor vs. Amanda Serrano this past weekend. Now, amid Jake Paul’s claims that McGregor is “ducking” a fight against him, Eddie Hearn has chimed in, explaining why he likes Conor in a match, even if it’s unlikely to happen. Eddie Hearn backs Conor McGregor in proposed Jake Paul fight Speaking with Ariel Helwani on MMA Hour, the boxing promoter touched on the feud between Jake and Conor, noting how the YouTuber made disrespectful comments about the Irishman’s family. “This isn’t YouTube or Disney where you can get away with saying whatever you want. This is a strike on-site world, and there will be no conversation. There will be no mediation,” Hearn warned. “That’s the game he’s playing. And he’s pushed that game very hard with a lot of people and it’s working for him.” Despite this, Hearn stressed that he “still likes Conor McGregor against Jake Paul” despite some advantages that the upstart boxer has in his favor. .@EddieHearn tells @arielhelwani he “”still likes Conor McGregor against Jake Paul”” 👀 #TheMMAHour “”I know there’s a bit of a weight [difference], but Conor’s looking big these days.”” ▶️ https://t.co/yw38B5ovAQ pic.twitter.com/clh8CY861B — MMA Fighting (@MMAFighting) May 2, 2022 “I know there’s a bit of a weight, but Conor is looking big these days,” he added before being asked who would win. “I don’t want to disrespect Conor, but it’s the size that’s the problem. Jake can fight, but Conor was a decent amateur fighter, he has good boxing fundamentals. Much better than most mixed martial artists.” The problem, however, is the weight that poses a major issue with Jake being a lot heavier than The Notorious. Regardless, it’s a fight that Hearn wants to see even if he doesn’t think UFC boss Dana White will make it a reality. “Dana is not going to do a deal with Jake Paul,” Hearn sighed, seemingly dismissing the chance to see the two battle it out. As Jake Paul readies for his return to the ring in August, he still doesn’t have an opponent set, but even if his dream bout against McGregor doesn’t go ahead, he has no shortage of foes, ranging from boxing great Mike Tyson to UFC legend Anderson Silva.

Eddie Hearn explains why Jake Paul’s next fight should be against Conor McGregor – Dexerto
Eddie Hearn explains why Jake Paul’s next fight should be against Conor McGregor Instagram: thenotoriousmma, jakepaul / Twitter: DAZNBoxingIndustry-leading boxing promoter Eddie Hearn has explained why he believes Conor McGregor is the ideal next matchup for YouTube sensation Jake Paul. Paul has become arguably the most valuable prizefighter in combat sports, in one of the weirdest career turns many will ever see. From a family-friendly YouTube and Disney star to a boxer earning millions in the ring, Jake is no slouch and his fights bring in viewers and dollars in abundance. He’s never made his desire to fight UFC star Conor McGregor a secret — and now Eddie Hearn is insisting that that is the fight that has to happen. Jake Paul has been working on securing a fight with McGregor for some time now. In December 2020, he reached out for a $50m fight in an expletive-ridden offer shared on YouTube. Since then, there have reportedly been talks held between the two camps, with the YouTuber revealing in July 2021 that it “will happen.” Now, Eddie Hearn has backed him up, saying that it is “the fight.” “For me, the fight is Conor McGregor,” he told DAZN Boxing. “I keep saying it. I think it’s a good fight. You’ve got the weight difference. Conor McGregor can box. He’s not a boxer but he’s got an amateur background. He’s a lot more accomplished than a Tyron Woodley or a Ben Askren.” Is Conor McGregor the next fight to make for Jake Paul? 🤔 pic.twitter.com/sL9GXbPgbw — DAZN Boxing (@DAZNBoxing) January 19, 2022 Hearn went on to add that the obvious hurdle is Dana White and the UFC, but commended Jake on getting Dana to engage in these conversations at all, saying that he was “quite shocked” to see the UFC chief post a video addressing Paul. While this fight is one that has been talked about for well over a year at this point, it’s not yet clear how close it really is to happening. If and when Conor McGregor vs Jake Paul does eventually happen, though, you can guarantee it’s going to do gargantuan numbers.

Eddie Hall vs Thor rematch: Fighters respond after The Beast vs The Mountain boxing match – Dexerto
Eddie Hall vs Thor rematch: Fighters respond after The Beast vs The Mountain boxing match Instagram: Eddie Hall/YouTube: ThorEddie Hall is already eyeing up a rematch with ‘Thor’ Hafthor Bjornsson after he suffered a unanimous decision loss in the long-awaited The Beast vs The Mountain boxing match. Over the last few years, Eddie Hall and Hafthor Bjornsson – better known as ‘The Mountain’ from Game of Thrones – have gone back-and-forth over claims of being the world’s strongest man. After trading deadlift records, the gigantic pair wanted to settle their feud inside the boxing ring, and after a two-year wait due to injuries and other conflicts, they finally squared off in Dubai on March 19. Ultimately, it was Hafthor who came away with the unanimous decision victory after the pair went the full distance in their six-round bout. And while Eddie has no qualms about the decision, he would love to do it again. Eddie Hall addresses boxing loss to Thor The 34-year-old, who landed a few big blows in the eagerly-anticipated fight but struggled to really make an impact, addressed his loss in an Instagram video moments after stepping out of the ring. “Obviously you’ve seen the result, I lost on my behalf,” Hall said. “You know what, I can take things like a man, it is what it is, that’s boxing. At the end of the day, I’ve just fought literally the biggest man on the planet in a boxing match. I’d like to see anybody else get the balls and do that. “It’s been a hell of a journey, I’ve enjoyed it. Hopefully, there’s a rematch and we’re going to do business again.” The British strongman also congratulated his longtime rival on the win, admitting the “better man” won the fight. View this post on Instagram Hafthor, himself, also stated that he is up for a second fight but didn’t put a time frame on when it might happen. “If Eddie wants a rematch, sure, I’ll do it,” he said on his YouTube channel. “I’m up for it, 100%. He wants the rematch, I feel like he deserves the rematch. He fought well.” Timestamp of 10:10 In the meantime, as per their wager, Eddie does have to get Thor’s name tattooed to his body, so we should get a few follow-ups before long.

Eddie Hearn admits he backed out of Jake Paul fight offer to avoid embarrassing knockout – Dexerto
Eddie Hearn admits he backed out of Jake Paul fight offer to avoid embarrassing knockout YouTube: IFL TVBoxing promoter Eddie Hearn has revealed that he considered calling out Jake Paul for a fight, but changed his mind after he realized what the outcome would be. As he’s gotten more and more ingrained in the boxing world, Jake Paul has had plenty of people lining up to fight him, with many hoping that they can be the one to knock him out and end his undefeated streak. To this point, the YouTuber-turned-boxer has fought athletes who aren’t prototypical boxers – even though he’ll happily argue that Tyron Woodley’s status as a UFC Champion shows he can mix it with some dangerous fighters. Jake has already run-in with those outside of the ring as well, getting involved in a heated argument with fellow promoter Eddie Hearn prior to the Amanda Serrano vs Katie Taylor super fight, with Hearn labeling the social media star as an “average boxer.” Well, following on from that, the face of the Matchroom Boxing brand claimed that he has considered calling Jake out for a fight, as he weighed up his prospects against other promoters. “I thought about calling Jake Paul out but, then again, I would get chinned and that would be embarrassing,” Hearn told Talksport, saying he’d get into the ring if the money was right. While he would take on a fight, Hearn isn’t making any wild claims about his skills and suggesting he might be the next Muhammad Ali or Mike Tyson. The promoter added that, really, he “can’t fight” despite being around the sport his whole life. So, if you were hoping that Jake and Eddie would continue their feud throughout the summer and settle things in the ring in August, well, bad luck. It is still unknown as to who Jake will be fighting in his return to action, with plenty of options on the table. Though, it is sure to be fascinating.

Eddie Hall & Thor copy Jake Paul tattoo bet for The Beast vs The Mountain boxing match – Dexerto
Eddie Hall & Thor copy Jake Paul tattoo bet for The Beast vs The Mountain boxing match YouTube: Eddie Hall/Mike ThurstonWith The Beast vs The Mountain fight back on the table, Hafthor Bjornsson and Eddie Hall have agreed to a tattoo bet that takes inspiration from Jake Paul vs Tyron Woodley. As content creator boxing matches have been getting bigger and bigger, there is – literally – no bigger bout than the highly-anticipated clash between Hafthor Bjornsson and Eddie Hall. The Beast vs The Mountain, as it’s been dubbed, has been on the cards for nearly two years but has been delayed due to various reasons. Back in July, Hall detached his bicep during a sparring session – ending hopes that the pair would fight in September. With the pair of them back in their respective camps, talk about the fight has reignited as the two strongmen have continued trading verbal jabs. As a result, they’ve agreed to put another wager on their fight, on top of their charity bet. Previously, Hafthor suggested that they would donate $100,000 each to charity. Hall raised that to $200,000 but suggested they go up to $1,000,000 – which The Mountain turned down. He did, however, suggest they follow in the footsteps of Jake Paul and Tyron Woodley, with the loser having to get the winner’s name tattooed on their body and give them the props as the ‘World’s Strongest Man.’ Well, now, Hall has agreed to that bet. “Straight away I will say yes, the loser will have to get a tattoo of ‘World’s Strongest Man’ and the opposing name,” the British strongman said on November 11. “Let’s tick that off. $200,000 each to charity regardless, let’s tick that off.” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g1NHdc670kM Eddie did, though, question why Hafthor wouldn’t agree to the $1 million donations. “You say it is irresponsible, but you both know what we are getting for this fight. It’s not irresponsible at all,” he added. “Thor, I think it speaks volumes for your confidence more than anything.” The Brit did say he would leave the offer on the table in case his Icelandic counterpart ever wanted to match him. Though, we’ll just have to wait and see what happens.

Eddie Hall unveils his new secret weapon for fight vs The Mountain – Dexerto
Eddie Hall unveils his new secret weapon for fight vs The Mountain Eddie Hall (YouTube)[jwplayer Y7PB7YwV] Eddie ‘The Beast’ Hall has unveiled his secret weapon in his quest to defeat Hafthor ‘The Mountain’ Bjornsson in their highly anticipated boxing match in Las Vegas. Between them, both Eddie and Hafthor have won about all there is to win in the realm of strength sports. The drama surrounding the Icelandic’s recent 501 kg deadlift has sparked a feud between the two giants, which will be settled in the ring come September 2021. And with both athletes gearing up for what’s being dubbed ‘the heaviest boxing match ever,’ there will undoubtedly be a lot of physical preparation as they remold their body to a completely different sport. But while Hafthor continues in his preparation for Iceland’s Strongest Man, Eddie has been hitting the boxing pads hard — and it appears that he’s also approaching his recovery with the same intensity. Captain America? No, Eddie Hall Hall is no stranger to intense training regimes, with the former World’s Strongest Man being vocal about his lengthy training sessions leading up to competition. Eddie has previously stated that it was his recovery from his hard-hitting training sessions that gave him the edge, with his mantra being ‘train hard, recover harder.’ So as the 32-year-old approaches his bout with Thor, he’s taken his recovery to new heights, by buying his own cryotherapy chamber — which will allow him to stand in a chilly -140° centigrade. While it’s not quite the Vita-Ray Chamber from Captain America, it does come with a host of benefits, including the reduction of inflammation caused from the intense sessions, as well as increasing his metabolism. Combine this with the fact that Eddie has his own infinity spa pool, alongside a hot and cold tub being on-site, and his brand new mansion is essentially a recovery haven which will essentially allow him to train harder for longer. There’s no doubt that both Hall and Bjornsson will be training harder than they ever have before, as both fighters gear up to win the high-profile bout.

Eddie Hall reveals insane new diet ahead of boxing match vs The Mountain – Dexerto
Eddie Hall reveals insane new diet ahead of boxing match vs The Mountain Eddie Hall, YouTubeBritish strongman Eddie ‘The Beast’ Hall has revealed his insane new diet ahead of his boxing bout with Hafthor ‘The Mountain’ Bjornsson. Eddie Hall and The Mountain have decided to settle their ongoing feud in the ring after the Game of Thrones star issued his fellow strongman a challenge following his record-breaking deadlift on May 2. Despite The Mountain’s stature and strength, Hall was eager to get involved for the fight and later revealed, on True Geordie’s podcast, that he was not taking the fight for the money or to settle the deadlift feud. He instead revealed that his feud with The Mountain was a personal one, adding that the Icelander had accused him of cheating at the World’s Strongest Man 2017, which was the starting point for their ongoing rivalry. During his latest YouTube video on June 14, Eddie explained that he has already immersed himself in the role of a “full time boxer” and shared the incredible new diet he is on for his training camp. “This is my journey right now, basically I’m a full time boxer,” he admitted, “I’ve completely changed my diet, I’ve completely changed my training regime, and I’m going to take you guys through a day in the life of The Beast.” Hall revealed that he is only consuming 6000 calories per day, compared to his previous 10k a day estimate, and gave fans a behind-the-scenes look at his process for getting into boxing shape, documenting all of his meals throughout the day. The popular strongman explained that he actually fasts before and after his sleep, only taking vitamins and coconut water in the morning before starting the day with a power walk. After returning from his first exercise, Hall finally tucks into his breakfast, before taking on an arduous 3-hour strength & conditioning session shortly after and a boxing session later in the day. He explained that he gets most of his meals in between each session, with numerous shakes and meals to keep him going throughout the day, which adds up to around 6000 calories overall. However, his opponent, The Mountain, has not been slacking off either, as Bjornsson also shared his progress in preparation for the fight, highlighting his insane weight loss so far in the journey. https://www.instagram.com/p/CAsJl8lguyF/ While both athletes still have plenty of time to train for the bout, which is scheduled to take place in September 2021, it seems as if they are both getting started early in preparation for the long-awaited showdown in their ongoing feud.

Eddie Hall reveals real reason why he wants to fight The Mountain – Dexerto
Eddie Hall reveals real reason why he wants to fight The Mountain True Geordie (YouTube)British strongman Eddie ‘The Beast’ Hall has revealed the real reason why he’s looking forward to going blow-for-blow with Hafþór ‘The Mountain’ Björnsson, and it’s not just because the Icelander took his world-record deadlift title. Immediately following his record-breaking lift on May 2, Thor challenged Hall to a boxing match of literally epic proportions to settle their ongoing feud. Less than 24 hours after the challenge, Eddie eagerly accepted. Now, he’s explained to British YouTuber True Geordie (who’s a very large human being in his own right) why he’s really looking forward to the match, which has apparently been years in the making. Hall admitted that no human in their right mind (including himself) would want to enter the ring with his 6-foot nine-inch, 450 lb Icelandic rival. “He’s a giant of a man, an absolute giant of a man, and given the choice I’d never want to fight Thor, it’d be a stupid life choice for anyone on the planet to fight a man that size,” The Beast explained. “But this is more personal, it’s not about the contract, it’s not about the money offer, it’s not about this stupid deadlift feud we’ve got going on, it’s the fact that he accused me of being a cheat at World’s Strongest Man 2017.” “He threw all these accusations out there that the referees were corrupt, the events were changed in my favor, that I knew the events in advance, it was just so much bullsh*t that Thor came up with,” Hall continued. “That put this black cloud around my WSM win. At the time I didn’t really think anything of it, but after I won every interview I did wasn’t about the win, it was about this controversy.” One of the biggest issues from WSM 2017, in Thor’s eyes, was the Viking Press (as seen above), which Hall won by completing just one more full press than The Mountain. As a result of the event, Thor ended up getting just one less point scored than Eddie, and in the final rankings, Björnsson was just one point behind Hall on the podium. “It genuinely hurt me deep down, I trained my whole life for this one moment, and this guy just tried to take it away from me because he couldn’t take being beaten by a better man,” Hall claimed. “That’s why I want to fight him, he’s put a black cloud over my career, and has done so ever since.” Though he’s given up on ever getting an apology from Thor, Hall said putting on the gloves and going toe to toe in the ring would be the next best thing. “I’m never going to get an apology from Thor, and he’s never going to admit I beat him fair and square, but for me, this is my way of putting this to bed,” The Beast told Geordie. “I feel like, if I can rip this guy’s head off in a boxing ring, this is perfect. This is my opportunity to get one back on Thor and like he did to me, belittle him for the whole world to see.” Hall went into more depth and detail about the pair’s feud and his thoughts on Thor’s world-record in the full 50-minute interview with True Geordie, which definitely makes it worth a listen. With the date of the fight still over a year away in September of 2021, both men have ample time to train and sharpen their dislike for one another. But we already can’t wait to watch this rivalry come to a head in the ring.

Ed Sheeran lookalike strikes again by fooling hungry fans in London – Dexerto
Ed Sheeran lookalike strikes again by fooling hungry fans in London An Ed Sheeran lookalike tricked fans into thinking he was the real deal when handing out free vegan nuggets to the masses in London. Ed Sheeran is a pop star sensation worth millions of dollars, so it’s unlikely you’ll ever find him giving out free food from a truck in the middle of freezing cold London. That didn’t stop fans of the British musician thinking he really was doing just that though, thanks to doppelganger Ty Jones. Fake Ed Sheeran strikes back On January 12, celebrity outlet TMZ broke the news of “Sheeran’s” UK adventure, revealing that he was seen giving out free plant-based nuggets to supporters hungry for a glimpse of the star – except it wasn’t really him at all, of course. The food truck was owned by a brand called THIS, a vegan snack company who set up shop in the BOXPARK shopping centre in Shoreditch. THIS had allegedly teased fans by stating that an A-list celebrity might be dropping by to help hand out the meat-free bites, who ended up pulling the wool over the eyes of everybody who showed up. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wfyygEYG5hU According to the TMZ article, the company employed the lookalike to help sell their new vegan snacks, and also hired a bodyguard to accompany him, too. This isn’t the first time that Ty has fooled fans into thinking he’s the real deal either – he completely tricked the likes of Sommer Ray, Roman Atwood, and Tana Mongeau at KSI vs Logan Paul 2 in Los Angeles in November 2019. YouTuber Josh Pieters hired the doppelganger to fly to the event, as he wanted to see how many celebrities and influencers he could prank for a video. Ty Jones is a 25-year-old actor from Manchester, United Kingdom, and frequently takes on bookings for events where he doubles as Sheeran. He even met the musician back in 2012, and claimed that the pair hit it off, with Ed stunned by how much he looked like him.

Eddie Hall was quick to accept the challenge and already been training hard for the upcoming bout, even revealing his insane diet change in a recent vlog, ahead of settling his feud with The Mountain in the ring. Ed Sheeran is causing a sensation on TikTok with a video that’s got everyone talking. The singer-songwriter has been a longtime Pokemon fan, so much so that he even teamed up with the franchise in 2022 to write and produce a song for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. While traveling the globe for his Mathematics Tour, Sheeran has been active on social media, sharing behind-the-scenes clips of him rehearsing ahead of shows and some of the shenanigans he and his team get up to during their downtime. His most recent TikTok, which has been seen over 3.5 million times in just over 24 hours, garnered the attention of Pokemon fans in a big way. The video starts with a close-up of Sheeran seated on the floor of a giant Stadium, holding a Nintendo Switch controller. He then looks at the camera and makes a surprising statement: “If I wasn’t a musician, I’d be a virgin.” The camera then pans up to the Jumbotron, revealing that the Irish-born star is playing Pokemon Stadium, an achievement TikToker users have dubbed the “Ultimate Pokemon Stadium!” Now that Sheeran’s love for Pokemon Stadium is out in the open, fans are eager to battle against him. One user commented, “Mate, give me a time and place, and I’ll play all of those Pokemon Stadium mini-games.” Another even suggested that Sheeran “casually pull out [his] Switch during a concert and challenge someone to a battle.” Pokemon Stadium is a classic cult game released in 1999 for the Nintendo 64. Despite not receiving a remaster, the game can still be played on the Switch as part of the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack subscription.

Ed Sheeran lookalike banned off TikTok for ‘impersonating’ singer – Dexerto
Ed Sheeran lookalike banned off TikTok for ‘impersonating’ singer Instagram: ed_experienceA man who looks just like British singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran got banned from TikTok for “impersonating” the star — despite having many disclaimers that he is not, in fact, Ed. TikTok boasts a surprising catalog of celebrity doppelgangers. For example, take Scarlett Johansson’s lookalike, ‘Miss Kate,’ who went viral last year for her amazing Black Widow cosplays. Even influencers have their own lookalikes these days, with YouTube star Logan Paul’s dead ringer Rodney Peterson getting into a street brawl with UFC star Nate Diaz in April. Now, another celebrity lookalike is taking over the internet — and apparently, he looks so much like his famous twin that one of his most prominent social media accounts got banned. Ed Sheeran lookalike banned from TikTok over “impersonation” 28-year-old influencer Ty Jones looks like the spitting image of British singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran… to the point that TikTok actually banned his account for “impersonating” the star. Jones took to Instagram to announce the news, sharing a screenshot of his TikTok profile that had been “banned.” Although Jones appealed the decision to TikTok, he was denied, despite clarifying in his profile that he was not Ed Sheeran and had a totally separate name from Sheeran’s account. “Funnily enough my Tiktok account was banned for ‘impersonating’ when my name was individual, my lives were titled ‘I’M NOT ED SHEERAN!’ and my videos consisted of my individual life as a celebrity lookalike, etc.,” he explained. “Tiktok just banned me, I appealed and within minutes got a response that it was denied, I genuinely feel discriminated ‘sheerly’ for the way I look. I’ve contacted Ed Sheeran’s team and they claim to have no involvement in this action taken against me, but the news have a keen interest in my story.” Luckily, his TikTok profile has since been reinstated at the time of writing after reports circulated about his sudden ban. Although Jones wasn’t trying to impersonate Sheeran’s TikTok presence, he does make a living being a celebrity impersonator, with most of his content being humorous parodies of the ‘Shape of You’ singer. In fact, Jones has gone viral multiple times in the past, with one of his most notable acts being impersonating Sheeran at the KSI vs Logan Paul 2 boxing match back in 2019. Jones is just the latest celebrity doppelganger to go viral on TikTok after Megan Fox’s lookalike revealed the eyebrow-raising requests she receives on her OnlyFans.

Grammy-winning musician Ed Sheeran was set to perform at Las Vegas’ Allegiant Stadium, drawing in huge crowds as fans flocked from far and wide to hear him sing. However, concert-goers were left feeling “super bummed” when the show was canceled while many were still getting seated due to safety concerns. Rescheduled now for October 28, Sheeran posted a statement to Instagram apologizing for the last-minute change in plans, citing “challenges encountered during the load in of our Vegas show.” A representative for Allegiant Stadium said that “technical issues” had caused the delay and rumors suggested issues with the stage had sparked “safety concerns”, with Sheeran saying it would have been “impossible to go forward with the show.” In a statement, Allegiant Stadium said, “Updates were communicated as quickly as possible to those waiting outside and via our social channels, website, and venue app. Stadium doors were opened at 5:05 PM to get fans out of the heat and we have ensured that anyone requiring assistance has received it.” Hundreds of fans had traveled for the concert, footage showing large crowds walking through the streets as news of the show’s cancellation spread. “Many hearts were broken, especially those who flew to Vegas to see him perform live,” one fan wrote on TikTok. “It wasn’t his fault and he had no control over the situation, but I just can’t help but feel so sad and angry about it.” Following the cancelation, Sheeran made an appearance at the stadium to take some photos with his disappointed fans and apologize, insisting he was “so, so sorry.” Check out all the latest entertainment news on our page here.

Echo Fox’s Mew2King With the Strangest Celebration of All Time Following Major Tournament Victory – Dexerto
Echo Fox’s Mew2King With the Strangest Celebration of All Time Following Major Tournament Victory Beyond the Summit / Todd Gutierrez (@TGphoto_)Echo Fox’s Jason “Mew2King” Zimmerman topped off an incredible run at Smash Summit 6 to win the whole event, and nobody was more surprised than him. Nobody would have put money on veteran player Me2King winning the Super Smash Bros. Melee at Smash Summit 6, not even the player himself. The 16 player tournament brought together the world’s best Melee players but the bracket was full of surprises and finished with the 29 year old Echo Fox man picking up his first supermajor victory in over a decade. Mew2King had to defeat Adam ‘Armada’ Lingren, William ‘Leffen’ Hjelte, Zain ‘Zain’ Naghmi, and then Armada a second time in the Grand Final to claim to title – not a list of names to be sneered at. This marked Mew2King’s first major tournament win with all of Melee’s current “gods” in attendance and the moment seemed to take him totally by surprise. As the game comes to a close Mew2King can be seen looking around in wide-eyes disbelief as Armada tries to congratulate him. It doesn’t stop there, though, the veteran player remains entirely mute for well over a minute. In a later interview his shock continued to speak volumes. When asked whether he had believed there was another set to play, or had simply not known that he had won, he responded with: “No, I was just like wait that doesn’t happen, I always don’t win. So it actually happening was like wait a minute. I mean I’ve always known I was good enough but the I never do it. I was like… oh, I did it.”

EazySpeezy speedruns Minecraft for 100 mins in epic Pringles® Can Hands challenge – Dexerto
EazySpeezy speedruns Minecraft for 100 mins in epic Pringles® Can Hands challenge PringlesYouTube star streamer EazySpeezy took on the Pringles® Can Hands challenge by speedrunning Minecraft for 100 minutes straight. The Pringles® Can Hands challenge started up on November 22 with QTCinderella, who announced she would be doing a cooking stream with one hand stuck in a Pringles can. Since then, multiple top content creators have been taking on the challenge, from BrookeAB to LobosJr, all choosing different games to play. As for EazySpeezy, well that’s easy, he was always going to choose Minecraft. During a YouTube video on December 10, Eazy decided to take on another casual speedrun, this time in Mojang’s sandbox world. He said: “I have 100 minutes to speedrun as many Minecraft speedruns as possible with… The Pringles can on my hand!” It wasn’t long before he realized this wasn’t going to be a piece of cake, too. Eazy said: “There are still a couple of issues like for example when I have to press my actual mouse, I have to bring over the other hand to press the mouse.” Speedrunning took on a different meaning during the broadcast, as the YouTuber humorously attempted to play with just the one hand. The good news for viewers, however, was that those in the chat were given the chance to win free Pringles throughout the stream. You can watch the full video here or below. What is the Pringles Can Hands challenge? Since the creation of Pringles, fans have long loved the iconic can with one constant thought – their hands get stuck in – and they talk about it, a lot. From letters to Pringles, social chatter and clever solutions, and even widely renowned comedy shows, whole corners of the internet have dedicated themselves to solving this unique snacking dilemma. Instead of fixing its can, Pringles is fixing the perception — getting stuck with Pringles isn’t a problem at all, rather, something to celebrate as a “worth it” risk to reach every single irresistible crisp. To celebrate with the gaming community, Pringles has linked up with a number of top streamers to take on the Pringles Can Hands challenge, which tasks each of them to do what they do best, with a slight caveat… They must have their hands inside the Pringles can at all times! So, whether you’re a cooking streamer or known for your FPS skills, you’re going to have to do it all with the Pringles can stuck around those hands. Each streamer will also have moments throughout the stream to allow their chat to have a chance to win free Pringles. Official rules can be found here (no purchase necessary)! If you are looking to tune into more Pringles Can Hands streams on Twitch, the full schedule and participants can be found here.

LEGIQN has been a popular name in the gaming community for many years now, with over 650,000 subscribers on YouTube, and a popular Twitch channel too, where he streams a variety of games. He is the first major entertainment focused signing for eUnited, who up until this point have been concerned solely with signing of professional and prospective competitive players across a number of esports titles. eUnited manager and former professional CoD player Matthew ‘Burns’ Potthoff teased the announcement the day before, giving only a silhouette of the new signing – with many fans speculating it would be a new pro player. But eUnited look to be investing more seriously into the content creation side of esports, which is becoming recognized as integral to growing and sustaining a fanbase. The popularity of Fortnite has also seen an increase in Fortnite streamers being signed to various organizations, but not necessarily to compete – rather simply to stream under the team’s banner. As for fans hoping for an announcement regarding eUnited’s Call of Duty roster and a fifth member, Burns has confirmed that information will be released “when the time comes”.

Dylan Mulvaney hits out at Bud Light for not supporting her after controversial collab – Dexerto
Dylan Mulvaney hits out at Bud Light for not supporting her after controversial collab Dylan Mulvaney/TikTok and Christophe Dion/UnsplashTikTok star Dylan Mulvaney has accused Bud Light of not supporting her after their collaboration resulted in some consumers boycotting the beer company while also sending hate and death threats to the influencer. Transgender social media influencer Dylan Mulvaney posted a TikTok video on June 29 where she claimed Bud Light never reached out to her as she faced a firestorm of online hate after her promotion with the beer company. What started as a normal collaboration between an influencer and a brand soon turned into a political debate and uproar. Not only was Dylan sent hate and death threats, several stockists of the beer reported people destroying the drinks in stores while boycotting the company. Dylan has now opened up about the past few months, claiming that Bud Light never did anything to support her amid the backlash. Dylan hits out at Bud Light for not helping her with the backlash On June 29, Mulvaney uploaded a video to her TikTok where she opened up about the backlash she got from the collaboration, revealing she’s been too scared to leave her home since it started. “For a company to hire a trans person and then not publicly stand by them is worse in my opinion than not hiring a trans person at all because it gives customers permission to be as transphobic and hateful as they want,” Mulvaney said in the video discussing the backlash. “The hate doesn’t end with me — it has serious and grave consequences for the rest of our community and we’re customers too,” Mulvaney continued. “I know a lot of trans and queer people who love beer and I have some lesbian friends who could drink those haters under the table.” She added: “But to turn a blind eye and pretend everything is okay, it just isn’t an option right now. And you might say, ‘Dylan, I don’t want to get political.’ Babe, supporting trans people shouldn’t be political. There should be nothing controversial or divisive about working with us.” Bud Light CEO responds to backlash against stockists – but not Dylan Mulvaney’s video comes one day after Brendan Whitworth, the CEO of Bud Light’s parent company, Anheuser-Busch, appeared on the program CBS This Morning, where he said the company has become entangled in “divisive” conversations it should not be a part of. “I think the conversation surrounding Bud Light has moved away from beer, and the conversation has become divisive,” Whitworth said. “And Bud Light really doesn’t belong there. Bud Light should be all about bringing people together.” Whitworth declined to answer directly when asked whether the campaign featuring Mulvaney was a mistake. “There’s a big social conversation taking place right now, and big brands are right in the middle of it and it’s not just our industry or Bud Light,” Whitworth answered. “It’s happening in retail, happening in fast food. And so for us what we need to understand — deeply understand and appreciate — is the consumer and what they want, what they care about, and what they expect from big brands.”

If you could ever do a solo trip somewhere it is such a good way to get to know yourself better. “But I came here to feel something, you know what I mean, and I definitely have, I’ve done shaman ceremonies that were like 10 years’ worth of therapy. It was wild. I’ve seen a lot of llamas and the people here are so kind.” Speaking about her reasons for traveling to Peru, she explained: “I feel very safe here. It’s a little sad that I had to leave my country to feel safe, but that will get better eventually.” “Most of all, this trip just has me feeling like I’m my own best friend again and that is the best feeling in the world and I hope that you feel that way about yourself too.” Dylan received an outpouring of support in the comments, with one fan writing: “Omg Dylan I am from Peru and I am so happy that you come to my country and like it and don’t worry people are really nice and the food is delicious.” Another person wrote: “Sooo happy to know you feel safe here!!!!” while a third added: “You deserve all the happiness! Durte Dom hits back at sexual assault allegations alongside David Dobrik’s former assistant – Dexerto
Durte Dom hits back at sexual assault allegations alongside David Dobrik’s former assistant YouTube: Durte DomInfluencer Dominykas Zeglaitis, better known as Durte Dom, has uploaded a video responding to allegations of sexual assault against him that surfaced in March. Content warning: This article contains subject matter that may disturb some readers. Discretion is advised. In March 2021, David Dobrik was called out for a whole slew of purported issues that happened behind the scenes of his viral, short-form videos. One such allegation included claims that former Vlog Squad member Durte Dom had sexually assaulted an intoxicated woman while Dobrik was filming one of his high-energy vlogs back in 2018. It was also alleged that Zeglaitis, Dobrik, and crew purchased alcohol for underage drinkers, and that women present at the video filming were pressured to create content that “objectified [them].” Nearly six months after these allegations came to light, Dom has returned to YouTube to dispute the claims, with an appearance by Dobrik’s former assistant, Cassandra. In his eleven-minute video, Dom claimed that he “hasn’t done a good job of separating Durte Dom, the crazy party animal, guy that hooks up with a bunch of girls, and me, Dominykas.” He went on to describe the purported events of the night in question, claiming that he, Hannah, and one of her friends went into his room to “hook up” after everyone at the gathering had started drinking. Dom claimed that, while events were transpiring between the three individuals, David, Nick, Todd, and Jeff would “peek inside the room,” stating that the guys “didn’t say that there was anything was wrong, and didn’t feel any type of way and didn’t bring anything up.” Zeglaitis then stated that Hannah had fallen asleep after their tryst was over, claiming that she’d had been “drinking more than the other girls” at the gathering. He alleged that Hannah’s friend then helped her get dressed, and the crew left the party to go elsewhere. Dom then shared several alleged text messages between himself and Hannah, which seemed to show an purportedly cordial relationship between the two. Dom stated that, a few months later, Hannah texted him asking that Dobrik remove the video. At this point in the video, Zeglaitis brought in Dobrik’s former assistant, Cassandra, to speak on the claims regarding the text messages that purportedly transpired between them. Cassandra notably broke into tears during her testimony, claiming that Dobrik was “this guy that would make his friends drink pee” and hardly “philanthropic” when she first met him in 2017. She went on to allege that, initially, Dobrik “did not want to take the video down.” She then claimed to have contacted a lawyer, who reportedly advised the group to remove the video. “One of the things I was constantly mentioning was, that Dom maybe ***** a girl and that they should contact a lawyer, and that they should have removed themselves [in relation to] Dom because of that situation,” she stated. Cassandra stated that she’d agreed to appear in the video after interviewing Dom, claiming that “a lot of things have come to my attention,” and that she would be speaking out on the subject further at a later date. “I f**ked up,” Dom concluded his video. “I thought that by us filming this video, it was just another fun, stupid vlog, and that everything would be fine, nobody was harmed. I was wrong. It impacted these girls, and it’s gonna follow them for their whole lives.” “I know what we did that night wasn’t right. We shouldn’t have filmed that video. We shouldn’t have put you guys in that position.” Dom’s video has been heavily criticized by viewers on YouTube. Both Hannah and David Dobrik have yet to comment on the situation at the time of writing.

Durte Dom reveals he hasn’t spoken to David Dobrik since sexual assault allegations – Dexerto
Durte Dom reveals he hasn’t spoken to David Dobrik since sexual assault allegations YouTube: Dominykas / YouTube: David DobrikDisgraced Vlog Squad member Dominykas ‘Durte Dom’ Zeglaitis revealed he has not spoken to David Dobrik in over two years as numerous people came forward with sexual assault allegations against him. Durte Dom was one of the most recognizable influencers on David Dobrik’s early vlogs, with the two riffing off each other for years. However, Dom has revealed he hasn’t spoken to Dobrik in over two years — since he moved out of David’s apartment — even as sexual assault allegations stacked up against the former Vlog Squad member. “Last time I saw him was when we threw a party in January 2020,” Dom explained on TheSync Podcast. “It was this party at USC. As I moved out of the apartment, I think that was his kind of way of [going] ‘oh I don’t have to go have to see him anymore.’ That was the thing that was attaching him [to me]. “After that, I haven’t heard from him. Even when all those allegations and shit went down, not a peep from him. I think Jeff called me and he went ‘oh you’re a piece of sh*t’ — he was just trying to cover his ass too. Now Jeff doesn’t like David.” It comes after numerous former Vlog Squad members, including the aforementioned Jeff Wittek, have spoken out about David Dobrik’s conduct at the peak of his career. Many accused Dobrik of pressuring talent to do dangerous things on camera as well as being complicit in the sexual assault allegations. Claims of racism and sexist were also leveled against the star, creating an on-set atmosphere making co-workers feel “worthless.” His YouTube channels were demonetized, sponsors pulled out, but he managed to make a somewhat successful return to the limelight. While Durte Dom had his name tarnished, he was still grateful for the opportunities Dobrik’s Vlog Squad offered him: “I’m blessed to have been in that position and to have been a part of something like this. Even David, I don’t hate the guy, I appreciate the opportunities that were given to me.” However, the nature of the Vlog Squad did lead to more content that pushed — and crossed — the boundaries of what was acceptable. “People wanted to get more airtime because if they got more airtime they’d get more clout from it. Everyone understood that if I’m in front of David’s camera, I’m going to get more clout, brand deals, notoriety, whatever it is,” he explained. “There was a constant competition for attention. My character on there, it was easy for me to do something and he’ll turn it into [a video]. I had good ideas for little viral shit, and that’s what he liked about me. “In the moment, I was like ‘yeah dude I can pay my rent, getting some chicks to like me.’ I was always pretty outgoing, the class clown. [I felt like] the popular kid, but I wasn’t thinking about anything.” This sentiment also extended to the various women in the video who spoke out against Dom, Dobrik, and other members of the Vlog Squad. “Being on the camera, you kind of choose this life. It comes with the territory. But for this college girl who’s getting harassed and bullied for a decision she made of like ‘oh I’m just going to be in this video’ — she wasn’t thinking about it like ‘people are going to look at me some type of way.’” “They’re probably [pressured]. It was the height of all the vlog shit. It’s everywhere, they’re getting their names tarnished, and they’re like ‘fuck man this is not good.’ In the spur of the moment, you’re thinking ‘hey this is just for fun’, but…” While Durte Dom is back on YouTube, creating content under his real name Dominykas, he won’t be surprised if more stars come forward with allegations against Dobrik as the star cuts former Vlog Squad members out of his life suddenly. “If I’m ripping on Big Nick for being short and stupid, and then I just cut him out of my life, Big Nick is going to feel a certain type of way. He’s going to feel like ‘you just made me look like an idiot online and now you don’t even say hi to me?’ “I wouldn’t be surprised if someone like Jonah comes out soon.”

Durte Dom teases David Dobrik vlog comeback just 4 months after assault allegations – Dexerto
Durte Dom teases David Dobrik vlog comeback just 4 months after assault allegations Instagram: Durte DomDurte Dom has teased a potential David Dobrik vlog comeback on Instagram, although his comments may just be tongue-in-cheek. It comes four months after the former Vlog Squad member was disowned over sexual assault allegations. David Dobrik is returning to his weekly vlogging schedule, despite allegations of harassment being leveled against the Vlog Squad, just months after the controversy took over YouTube. However, one former member of the Vlog Squad has teased his return, and fans aren’t pleased. Disgraced member Durte Dom, real name Dominykas Zeglaitis, mentioned in Dobrik’s Instagram post announcing his return to weekly vlogs that he might be playing a part in the new videos. “Can’t wait for my comeback. Thanks for putting me in the new vlog,” he said. The comment did not please fans of Dobrik, who called for Dom to be “locked up” after claims emerged in March 2021 of the star sexually assaulting someone “too intoxicated to consent” during filming in 2018. “Even before all of this came to light you were already out of the vlogs for a reason. This just shows you have not grown as a person or learned from your mistakes. Be better,” one commenter said. It’s unclear whether Dom’s comment is serious, or just a tongue-in-cheek reply to Dobrik’s post. He did not appear in the return vlog, which was posted on June 15. Durte Dom hasn’t uploaded on YouTube since his March 10 “addressing the drama” video, which has over three million views. He made his return to Instagram on June 8 with an advertising post. He also apologized back in April, but believed his “character” was “being unfairly attacked and the statements that exist in the public eye are unfairly defaming.” David Dobrik also apologized in March for Dom’s behavior, saying “I’m sorry that I took Dom’s word for what happened in those certain situations and I didn’t believe [the victims].” Dobrik’s first vlog back, including Corinna Kopf and friends, showed footage of his holiday to Hawaii which was cut short after fans spotted the star on the island. It has gotten nearly 2 million views in under six hours.

Durte Dom faces more sexual misconduct allegations as new claims surface – Dexerto
Durte Dom faces more sexual misconduct allegations as new claims surface YouTube: Durte DomOn Saturday 20 March, in the wake of various allegations against David Dobrik, two more people made accusations against Vlog Squad member Durte Dom. Both accusers said that Dom was sexually inappropriate towards them. The first accuser is TikTok user ‘whoaannellyy’, who said that she had to hide in the bathroom and pretend to throw up to avoid having sex with “creepy” Durte Dom. Meanwhile, another TikToker called ‘notkaiamarie’ alleged in her post that Dom invited her and roommate over to his apartment. Claiming that he gave her “r*pey vibes,” she says in the video that he asked her to buy him a Subway sandwich after she refused to sleep with him. https://www.tiktok.com/@whoaanellyy/video/6941563102701899013?_d=secCgYIASAHKAESMgow9Fx5GrbgMFCtFOpkwqvr08aFEvVsJdWNw0MSXmfWSqXXgo1HSdz8QUZC0z5mvBGgA&language=en&preview_pb=0&sec_user_id=MS4wLjABAAAAq3qvS0NqO088FQb4z7xe_EUzFsEzCCq5pLmWBGyJDix1lR09t6Em5c-YJe0EB-EN&share_item_id=6941563102701899013&share_link_id=A17CF7A1-D8F2-4056-8BEE-5EABC9C370E6×tamp=1616272823&tt_from=copy&u_code=d0m77mk6meef3i&user_id=6573738905467404293&utm_campaign=client_share&utm_medium=ios&utm_source=copy&source=h5_m&is_copy_url=0&is_from_webapp=v1&sender_device=pc&sender_web_id=6931184181967947270 These claims come after Durte Dom was accused of sexual assault from an occasion in 2018 during a Vlog Squad shoot, where the accuser said that they were “too incapacitated” to consent to sexual activity. Earlier this month, Dom released a YouTube addressing the sexual assault accusations wagered against David by Seth Francois. Saying that Seth was “a good friend of [his] to this day, he said in the video, which is entitled ‘Addressing the Drama’, that David “needs to deal with” the situation with Seth. Dom is yet to respond to these latest claims. What other allegations have been made against the Vlog Squad? Leader of the Vlog Squad, David Dobrik, has recently faced the consequences of accusations being made against him as various brands such as EA Sports, Audible, HBO, and General Mills confirmed that they were cutting ties with him. A lot of the claims against David came from people who had previously worked with him as part of the Vlog Squad. As well as Nik ‘BigNik’ Keswani claiming that working with David made him feel “worthless“, Seth Francois accused Dobrik of sexually assaulting him in 2017 by “forcing” him to participate in a “kiss prank.” While Dobrik along with Scotty Sire tried to disprove Francios claims via text message receipts, he later uploaded an apology video to YouTube entitled: ‘Let’s Talk.’ YouTuber Trisha Paytas has also been vocal about alleged mistreatment she faced by David in the past on social media, YouTube and the ‘Frenemies’ podcast with H3H3 Productions founder Ethan Klein.

Durte Dom accused of sexually assaulting Vlog Squad extra during David Dobrik shoot – Dexerto
Durte Dom accused of sexually assaulting Vlog Squad extra during David Dobrik shoot Instagram: Durte DomDominykas Zeglaitis, better known as former Vlog Squad member ‘Durte Dom’, has been accused of sexually assaulting a woman who was “too intoxicated to consent” during the filming of a video blog for David Dobrik’s growing YouTube channel in late 2018. Hannah, 20 years old at the time, accuses Zeglaitis, then 23, of sexually assaulting her by engaging in sexual activity while she was “so incapacitated” she couldn’t consent. According to Hannah, who spoke to Kate Tenbarge from Business Insider about the night, she and her friends felt pressured by Zeglaitis and other Vlog Squad members to create content that “objectified [them].” The vlog stars also provided alcohol, because the girls were too young to buy it themselves. Dobrik filmed Hannah and her six friends engaging with several Vlog Squad members, including Jason Nash, Jeff Wittke, Zeglaitis, Todd Smith, and more. “It was very much an environment where it felt like saying ‘no’ was not okay,” Hannah said. “It felt like from the moment we came there was an expectation that they were doing us a favor and we had to give them content. They were verbally, like, ‘Why aren’t you guys being fun? Do something sort of sexy’.” Towards the end of the evening, Zeglaitis allegedly led Hannah and another friend, Audrey, into a nearby bedroom. At the time, Hannah was “not fully coherent, and articulate,” another friend said of the situation. “Obviously she did not consent.” The deleted Oct. 2018 vlog uploaded to David Dobrik’s channel — titled “SHE SHOULD NOT HAVE PLAYED WITH FIRE!!” — confirms all three were in the room. During the vlog upload, which runs for four and a half minutes, Dobrik — camera in hand — and other Vlog Squad members repetitively open the door and film Durte Dom with Hannah and Audrey, until Zeglaitis reportedly “locked the door.” When the door was finally opened again, only Zeglaitis and Audrey emerged. Sarah found Hannah lying “limp” on the bed, unable to move or get dressed. Hannah says she does not remember having sex that evening. She does, however, remember that after Zeglaitis was finished, she struggled to dress herself due to being so intoxicated. “What I do remember is lying on the bed in that room alone, and my roommate at the time coming in and being super worried and putting my underwear on me because I couldn’t do that by myself.” Hannah confirms she has not filed charges against Zeglaitis. Below is a reupload of the Oct. 2018 video, posted by Jame Andy. In 2019, things came to a head for Hannah, who says she still had no recollection of the night. She had a panic attack in a cab on the way home, stating “I was [sexually assaulted]” over and over. She investigated her options in the Californian legal system, before deciding it would be difficult to pursue a case due to being drunk at the time. She contacted Zeglaitis soon after to request the video be delisted. “It’s incredibly disturbing to me to have a video online that documents an entire night I have no recollection of, and have everyone around me view that as a reflection of my character, especially considering the mature content,” Hannah wrote to Zeglaitis in a lengthy text message. “Looking back on the experience, I feel taken advantage of.” An hour later, Zeglaitis responded: “Okay, I respect your wishes. The videos [sic] down.” It was the last time the former Vlog Squad member ever contacted Hannah. Zeglaitis has not publicly commented on the allegations. The last time he said anything regarding the night was when he was contacted by Kate Tenbarge for Insider in late February. At the time he said he wanted to avoid speaking about the Vlog Squad. Instead, he reportedly wanted to talk about his “own achievements.” None of the Vlog Squad members from the now-deleted 2018 video have formally responded to requests for comment either. David Dobrik’s attorney, Bryan Freedman, told Insider that “David will be addressing his community directly.” “Anyone who knows him knows he does not condone misconduct in any form. Vlog participants provide consent before anything is posted,” the written statement reportedly continues. “Whenever consent is retracted, posts are removed. Any insinuation of wrongdoing is inaccurate and defamatory.” As of publication, David Dobrik has not addressed the allegations. Zeglaitis recently uploaded a video on March 10 in which he says he wants to be “held accountable for [his] actions.” The ex-Vlog Squad member does not mention Hannah or the Oct. 2018 video once in his 14:44 minute upload. Hannah explained she only shared her story so that Zeglaitis, Dobrik, and the rest of the Vlog Squad members who were involved in the video might “recognize her perspective of that night.” She added that she has no expectations of an apology, or a process of accountability, however. “Of course it would be nice to get an apology, to get them to admit what they did wrong,” Hannah said. “I was exploited for content and stripped of a voice.” Since the accusations were made public, Dobrik himself is allegedly being dropped by a number of his sponsors, one of his main sources of income.
