Charli D’Amelio hits back at fans hating on Dixie for making ‘sad songs’ Hollister Co.TikTok superstar Charli D’Amelio had enough of seeing fans hate on Dixie D’Amelio’s new song “Roommates” because it’s about being sad and depressed, and claimed anyone who puts her sister down isn’t a true supporter. Dixie D’Amelio opened up about her mental health struggles in her latest song, “Roommates.” However, after anticipating that some fans might complain about it being her third song that touches on sadness and depression, she was proven right. It seems like some people don’t understand that anyone can experience mental health issues and that making music about them can be therapeutic while also giving fans something to relate to. Unfortunately, the whole situation has led to some people bombarding Dixie with hate and negativity. “Is she really being [emotional] over this?” said one fan, referring to a shot of graffiti on the wall in the music video, which read “Famous because of your sister!” followed by “I know.” Dixie replied to the tweet by acknowledging that it was the source of some emotional distress, along with a series of crying emojis. However, it’s not that she’s sad because she feels like she owes her success to Charli, tt’s because people keep saying negative things like that, and it takes a toll. But that’s not all. Another fan wrote, “She made a whole song on being sad when the [motherf**ker] is made of multi-millions, famous as hell, and has a personal chef. Please, she’s so embarrassing.” “Sometimes I don’t wanna be happy,” Dixie wrote back. It’s easy to forget that anxiety and depression affect people from all walks of life, even the most successful – it knows no bounds. sometimes…i don’t wanna be happy 😞🙅🏻♀️🚫 https://t.co/XY8Hu2GPIu — dixie (@dixiedamelio) December 26, 2020 Charli wrote a stern message to her fans who hate on others, including her sister: “I have been seeing a lot of negativity coming from my supporters towards other people. That goes against the messages I like to spread about being kind and supporting one another! Please remember to spread positivity.” “This also goes to every single supporter of mine that is saying means things about my sister,” she added. “At the end of the day, family comes first. And if you support me but put down my sister, then you do not really support me.” this also goes to every single supporter of mine that is saying means things about my sister at the end of the day family comes first and if you support me but put down my sister then you do not really support me — charli (@charlidamelio) December 26, 2020 It’s hard to believe that anyone can hate others for being sad and depressed, regardless of how famous and wealthy they are. It’s something we all experience from time to time. However, listening to music that we can relate to, like “Roommates,” makes it a little easier. Still, it’s good to know that Charli D’Amelio has her sister’s back and is trying to give some of her more toxic fans a much-needed wake-up call.

Charli D’Amelio hits back at critics who say she’s “glowed down” – Dexerto
Charli D’Amelio hits back at critics who say she’s “glowed down” Instagram: charlidamelioAs one of TikTok’s biggest stars, Charli D’Amelio is no stranger to intense scrutiny online. During her podcast with sister Dixie, she finally addressed trolls who claimed that she “looked prettier before”. From guest-starring in music videos to releasing her own book, one of Charlie D’Amelio’s latest ventures is in a podcast with sister and fellow TikToker, Dixie, entitled ‘Charli and Dixie: Two Chix’. In the latest episode of their podcast, Charli and Dixie started to discuss how Charli’s ‘look’ had changed since the start of quarantine. Dixie said: “I saw this video of you from the beginning of quarantine, and you look so different. Not in a bad way, but back then you had eyelashes and you looked really tan.” https://twitter.com/defnoodles/status/1327453009958236160 “What I’m going to say is the fact that people say: ‘You used to look prettier.’ Like, what do you want me to do?” Charli fired back. Trying to reassure her sister, Dixie said that “they [the trolls] say that about everyone. They say that everyone has glowed down.” “I feel like you didn’t like how you looked then,” Dixie continued. “I think it’s because your hair changed. I’m not sure how a four-inch haircut changed you that much.” “I don’t like how I look now because now I want to look like how I did then!” Charli interjected. “But then, when I looked like that, I didn’t like it, so what to [the trolls] want me to do? Just be sad?” “Because it gave me confidence, and they [the trolls] liked me when I was fragile.” Charli speculated defiantly. “They are scared of a confident woman.” In response to these comments on her podcast, fans rallied in support around the TikTok star. One Instagram user said, “Why all of a sudden do boys want to say Charli had a glow down? All she did was dye her hair and now she had a “glow down”, I don’t understand, you guys used to drool over Charli and now y’all are saying she’s ugly…” Another echoed Charli’s own sentiments in the podcast: “All that happened was she matured and gained more confidence in herself. People don’t like to see others on top either. Charli is beautiful and words won’t change that.” “Those kind of comments over and over again are bound to affect a young girl and her confidence,” a fan on Twitter chimed in. “Glad it doesn’t get her too down and she stands up for herself.” Those kind of comments over and over again are bound to affect a young girl and her confidence. Glad it doesn’t get her too down and she stands up for herself — j (@jjmilkyy) November 14, 2020 This isn’t the first time that the D’Amelio sister has opened up about how comments from trolls online affect her. Only recently, her close friend James Charles admitted in an interview that Charli often calls him crying over hateful YouTube comments. Well, despite what the trolls say, we think that she looks amazing, no matter what color her hair is!

Charli D’Amelio hits back at claims of “shading” other TikTokers – Dexerto
Charli D’Amelio hits back at claims of “shading” other TikTokers YouTube: Charli D’Amelio[jwplayer ksH6zuKH] Charli D’Amelio may be the TikTok queen, but that certainly doesn’t prevent the star from criticism — and some viewers are accusing her of throwing shade at other popular creators on the app. Charli D’Amelio is TikTok’s most-followed account, boasting a massive 85 million followers due to her catchy dance videos and humorous collaborations with other top influencers. However, the 16-year-old star has faced a huge amount of criticism in spite of her largely wholesome persona, from serious threats to her personal safety to over-the-top bodyshaming. Now, critics are accusing the star of throwing shade at other successful women on the platform, after she liked a video montage of female creators (which included Charli) to a voice clip that read, “You know what that looks like? Success!” https://www.instagram.com/p/B6n2qVvJNVC/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link For some reason, a few viewers interpreted the video as claiming that the other women were not as “successful” as Charli, and when word got out that she’d liked the clip, resulted in a slew of hate thrown her way. Rather than letting the situation get out of hand, Charli addressed the matter with a lengthy Instagram comment, clarifying that she hadn’t meant her “like” to be negative in any way. “After sitting and watching the edit, it doesn’t look like a ‘plot twist’ edit that is bringing down someone else,” she explained. “It looks like a group edit for a bunch of women who are very successful, which is why it makes sense for why they used a song with the word ‘success’ in it.” “All of the girls in the video have been nothing but sweet to me every time I have talked to them,” she continued. “I’m truly sorry if I upset anyone, but please know I never thought of it as a mean-spirited edit or would ever want to bring down any other creators.” This is far from the first time Charli has received backlash over a seemingly innocent action: the star also came under fire for allegedly making fun of cosplayers in another TikTok, which she quickly apologized for and claimed that was not the case. No matter the issue, D’Amelio is still the queen of TikTok — and it doesn’t look like her success is stopping anytime soon.

Charli D’Amelio hits back at body-shaming comments about her weight – Dexerto
Charli D’Amelio hits back at body-shaming comments about her weight YouTube: Charli D’AmelioTikTok’s most followed star, 15-year-old Charli D’Amelio, has hit out at those who attempt to body-shame her online in a series of comments made on April 27. With over 50 million followers on the video platform, D’Amelio has become a global star thanks to her dances and has even moved into YouTube videos to expand her horizons and audience. Obviously, though, with so many eyes on her, there’s bound to be a lot who aren’t out there to support her but instead try to spread negativity and hate, and Charli decided to address them directly. “Stop talking about my body,” she pleaded to her Twitter followers late on April 27. “It’s not your place to tell me if I’m losing weight or gaining weight.” Although her point seemed clear enough, D’Amelio expanded and attempted to spread some positivity, instead. “Why don’t we all just be respectful and understand that we should just be kind and uplift everyone instead of trying to bring others down?” She added that whether it’s about her, her friends or complete strangers, it’s never okay, and made a simple final plea for those doing it to just stop commenting on people’s weight or physical appearance. why don’t we all just be respectful and understand that we should just be kind and uplift everyone instead of trying to bring others down and i’ve seen these videos about me my friends and complete strangers but it doesn’t matter who you’re doing it to- — charli (@charlidamelio) April 27, 2020 As expected with the internet, the series of tweets was met with mixed responses. While many fans implored her to ignore the trolls and comments and showed support with her plea, there were also some unsavory comments too. Some responses said that it “comes with the job,” while others simply attempted to call out the “simps” showing support or refusing to be rude about her. D’Amelio isn’t the first TikTok star to call out body-shaming trolls, as this statement comes shortly after Hype House cohort Addison Rae made similar comments about abuse she receives over her looks. Neither of the TikTok stars should be facing the abuse or hateful comments but they are standing up to them and handling the unfortunate situation pretty commendably.

Charli D’Amelio hits back after ‘twerking’ controversy at party – Dexerto
Charli D’Amelio hits back after ‘twerking’ controversy at party YouTube: Charli D’AmelioTikTok star Charli D’Amelio has finally responded after being at the center of controversy when netizens discovered her twerking at a party attended by high-profile names in the music biz. On July 5, social media exploded with footage taken from the Instagram story of City Girls’ JT, which showed Charli D’Amelio twerking at a party purportedly attended by the likes of Lil Uzi and Beyoncé. Twitter and TikTok were instantly inflamed by comments criticizing 17-year-old Charli for engaging in such behavior, owing in part to her young audience, with others wondering how she was able to get inside of a nightclub, in the first place. However, fellow TikToker Noah Beck was quick to come to Charli’s defense, explaining that she wasn’t at a club but instead at a house party hosted by a mutual friend. “You guys need to let her live,” Noah said of the situation. “Poor girl breathes the wrong way and you guys got something to say.” While Noah’s comments received some positive praise, it doesn’t seem as though the general sentiment surrounding Charli’s dance moves shifted very much — that is, until Charli hit back at the criticism nearly a day later. View this post on Instagram The night of July 5, Charli posted a series of photos from the evening to her Instagram account, many of which showed her posing with friends and family — but the final pic showed the TikToker breaking it down on the dance floor. “And I’ll do it again,” she captioned the photo set, prompting a slew of laughter and support in the comments section from fans and even fellow stars like Addison Rae and Madi Monroe. View this post on Instagram It seems that Charli isn’t bothered by the criticism levied against her over her night out at the party… but the net is still expressing concern over the impression she might be giving her young viewers, anyway.

Charli D’Amelio hires police after being swatted at her home – Dexerto
Charli D’Amelio hires police after being swatted at her home YouTube: Charli D’Amelio[jwplayer ksH6zuKH]TikTok star Charli D’Amelio has hired law enforcement to protect her, following threats on her personal safety and even swattings directed at her personal residence. 16-year-old Charli D’Amelio is TikTok’s most-followed content creator, best known for her viral dance moves and positive, upbeat personality (drama with Chase Hudson aside). Despite her good vibes and generally unproblematic content, D’Amelio has been met with several concerning incidents regarding her personal safety — so much so that she’s even hired police to protect her. As reported by TMZ, it seems that the D’Amelio family has been swatted on several occasions, although that doesn’t seem to be the only reason she’s hired a personal security detail to watch the property. https://www.instagram.com/p/CDMYziwj_Nf/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link The report also claims that Charli received quite a fright on July 8, after “someone” threatened to show up at her home — although they didn’t end up following through. It’s no small speculation that the individual in question could be influencer “Lovely Peaches,” who has made several threats against Charli’s personal safety — including allegedly hiring a 30-year-old man to sexually assault the TikTok star. That’s not all; Peaches even posted photos seemingly taken from outside of the D’Amelio residence, claiming that she and the man she’d hired were going to follow through on their threat. While this thankfully never happened, it makes perfect sense that the D’Amelio crew has hired security as a precaution. Dixie D’Amelio claimed that the family was well aware of the situation surrounding Lovely Peaches’ threats in a paparazzi interview, although declined to comment further on the concerning matter. (Topic begins at 1:03) Luckily, TMZ has likewise reported that law enforcement is investigating the threat that was sent toward Charli — and whether or not it involves Peaches, fans can rest easy knowing that something is being done about the shocking situation. As we all know, fame isn’t a cake walk, and celebrities’ personal space and privacy are often overlooked by both over eager fans and those wishing harm on them. The 16-year-old is no different, and is facing disgusting threats in spite of her young age.

Charli D’Amelio hints that potential reality show is “in the works” – Dexerto
Charli D’Amelio hints that potential reality show is “in the works” Charli D’Amelio, YouTube[jwplayer ksH6zuKH]TikTok’s most followed creator, Charli D’Amelio, is one of the net’s fastest-rising stars — so much so that she and her family may even have a reality show on the way, as teased in an interview with Cosmopolitan. D’Amelio is the internet’s newest darling, boasting over 71 million followers on TikTok, alone, due to her viral dance videos and collaborations with other top personalities on the app. Despite her popularity online, it looks like the youngest D’Amelio sibling could be heading to the small screen in the near future — along with the rest of her family. In an interview with Cosmopolitan (shortly after the release of her collaboration with clothing giant Hollister), Charli revealed that she “hopes” the rumors about a reality TV show centering on her family come true, and even admitted that some things are “in the works.” “We definitely hope so, and there are some things in the works,” Charli said. “I’m just excited for people to see more of our family dynamic — that’s really what makes us who we are. We are super close as a family, so that’s something that I’d love to bring more light to and just have fun with it. That would be exciting, and I really hope that it does happen.” “I think there will be some moments where we will be a little nervous and getting used to it,” big sis Dixie added. “But it’s also so exciting knowing that people will get to know us and our personalities more.” This wouldn’t be the first time Charli and her family have branched out from TikTok; both Charli and Dixie announced their very own upcoming podcast in mid-May, which similarly promises to give fans a behind-the-scenes look into their everyday lives and the madness behind their viral presence on social media. https://www.instagram.com/p/CAYIE8VA-H5/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link With Charli likewise spreading her wings onto YouTube, it seems that TikTok’s biggest star isn’t settling for a single platform. Who knows — the D’Amelios could even become the next Keeping Up with the Kardashians!

Charli D’Amelio has broken a Guinness World Record on TikTok – Dexerto
Charli D’Amelio has broken a Guinness World Record on TikTok Instagram: charlidamelioAt just sixteen years old, Charli D’Amelio is continuing in her quest for world domination. She’s an influencer, multi-millionaire and now, a Guinness World Record holder! In the past year, the name Charli D’Amelio has become almost synonymous with TikTok. As a former member of influencer hub the Hype House, her internet fame has skyrocketed in unprecedented ways. With 89.1 followers on TikTok, she is by far the most-followed influencer on the platform. She also has 29.7 million Instagram followers and 4.3 million followers on Twitter. Unsurprisingly, her Guinness World Record is down to her astronomical TikTok following. In the 2021 book, she holds the prestigious title of “Most Followers on TikTok”. Her official entry, which can be found in the book or on the official Guinness World Records website, reads as follows: “Charli D’Amelio (USA) became the first person with 50 million TikTok followers on 22 Apr 2020. By 30 Apr, she had 52,037,851 fans. She reached the top spot in just 10 months, having begun uploading dance clips to the video platform in summer 2019.” D’Amelio announced the achievement in an Instagram story earlier this month, simply commenting: “this is crazy!!! [sic]” With a net worth of $4 million, D’Amelio has made an established career for herself off the back of the platform. As well as making a fortune from numerous sponsorship deals and merchandise, Charli along with her sister – fellow content creator Dixie D’Amelio – partnered with Morphe cosmetics to release their own palette, Morphe 2 alongside their own nail polish line. D’Amelio is also set to release a book in the December entitled: Which man holds the record for most TikTok followers? The 2021 Guinness World Records book also contains a world record for the man with the most TikTok followers; and this is a record held by internet personality and illusionist Zach King. King, 30, boasts 49.8 million TikTok followers. He is also an established content creator on YouTube, and previously made waves on Vine and musical.ly. The book’s official entry for King is as follows: “The most followed male on TikTok is Zach King (USA), with 41,386,005 followers as of 20 April 2020, according to SocialTracker. Best known for his magic tricks and special effects, or what he calls “digital sleight of hand”, King has built on his strong fanbases already established on YouTube and former short video platform Vine to become one of TikTok’s leading stars.” It’s clear to see that both Charli and Zach have dedicated a lot of time and effort into their content, so it is great to see that a lot of this hard work has paid off. Congratulations to them both!

Charli D’Amelio grosses fans out with shocking nose surgery video – Dexerto
Charli D’Amelio grosses fans out with shocking nose surgery video YouTube: Charli D’Amelio[jwplayer ksH6zuKH]TikTok’s most-followed creator, Charli D’Amelio, has finally released the behind-the-scenes footage following her journey through nose surgery — and it’s got some fans totally freaked out. Charli D’Amelio shocked fans with an unexpected TikTok in early July, which showed the star laying down on a hospital bed with gauze taped over her nose, where blood could clearly be seen seeping through the fabric. “Surgery is done, and I am so beyond excited that I was finally able to fix my breathing!” D’Amelio captioned the video. “And soon I will be able to be in dance classes again!” Over a month later, Charli has finally unveiled the arduous process behind correcting her nasal problems — and it was no picnic, to say the least. In the 16-minute-long video, D’Amelio reveals that she’d suffered a broken nose and a septal hematoma, the latter of which occurred after she and a friend accidentally bumped heads. D’Amelio explained in a Tweet prior to her video that she’d broken her nose in August, and ever since then, had experienced breathing problems in her right nostril (which she humorously showcased by giving fans an up-close-and-personal look up her nose). Her surgery process took a number of trips to the doctor’s office, during which she received some filler in a part of her nose where the cartilage was nearly nonexistent. That’s not all; Charli even fainted during bloodwork, leading to a tense moment that had her camerawoman a bit frazzled, to say the least. However, the most shocking part of the video took place when Charli’s surgeon, Dr. Raj Kanodia, literally scraped out pieces of her septum and cartilage, which was done in full view of the camera. Needless to say, some fans were totally freaked out by the gruesome procedure — but thankfully, it looks like Charli is free and clear to dance again, with her nose having been fully healed and recovered to bust a move. “It was something that I really needed to do so that I could enjoy dancing again!” Charli said of the procedure. “I couldn’t be anymore thankful to Dr. Kanodia for taking such good care of me, he did the best job ever.”

Charli D’Amelio fuels Chase Hudson relationship rumors in new TikTok – Dexerto
Charli D’Amelio fuels Chase Hudson relationship rumors in new TikTok Instagram: Charli D’AmelioTikTok superstar Charli D’Amelio has added further fuel to the speculation that she and Chase Hudson are reuniting and trying their relationship again. As TikTok has blown up and made a number of new stars, fans have become obsessed with checking out things behind the posts – be it where their favorite TikToker is living, what they do in their free time, or who they’re choosing to be friends with and even date. The biggest of this bunch of new stars is Charli D’Amelio. The 16-year-old has 62.4 million followers on TikTok and up until a few months ago, had been dating Chase Hudson, otherwise known as Lil Huddy. It’s become a relationship that fans are determined to know the ins and outs of, and Charli has sparked new rumors of them dating again. On June 10, the more popular half of the D’Amelio sisters posted a brand-new TikTok of herself dancing in a pool until she was joined by Hudson after she ‘reeled’ him in. The caption of the post, which was simply ‘The Boy,’ prompted fans to ask questions if the pair had rekindled their relationship. Hudson himself followed things up with another clip of the pair interacting, however, he didn’t offer any clear insight either. His upload was simply captioned ‘long time no see bruv,’ with some fans taking it as a sign of them just being friends. As the pair have been pretty vague about their relationship, it is difficult to say if they’re back together or just hanging out as friends and creating videos as two of the biggest TikTokers around. Plenty of fans would be delighted if they were dating again, however, the D’Amelio sisters have been coy on their future after it was confirmed that they had parted ways with the Hype House. It very much remains to be seen as to what they’re doing on multiple fronts, and fans will just have to wait and see if Charli says anything further about Chase.

Charli D’Amelio freaks out after hilarious Chase Hudson bedroom prank – Dexerto
Charli D’Amelio freaks out after hilarious Chase Hudson bedroom prank YouTube: Thomas PetrouHype House leader Thomas Petrou is back to pranking his friends, and this time around the victim is TikTok sensation Charli D’Amelio, with Thomas sticking hundreds of pictures of her ex-boyfriend Chase Hudson all over her bedroom. While Chase and Charli’s romance ended back in April, fans of the pair were upset to see them part ways, especially amid the accusations from Sway House members Josh Richards and Bryce Hall that Chase was apparently trying to cheat on Charli. Fans were keen to see them reunite, and many speculated that they already had after Charli posted a picture of Chase to her story, despite clarifying after that they were just friends and she was posting pictures of all her friends that day. There doesn’t seem to be any lingering awkwardness among their friendship group judging by Thomas Petrou’s pranks, having already pulled one on Chase in May by plastering his room with pictures of Charli. But this time it was Charli’s turn to be pranked. Thomas had asked permission from her parents, and they got to work sticking the exact same picture of ex-boyfriend Chase, a.k.a Lil Huddy, on every spare bit of wall. Thomas asked Charli’s dad “how do you feel about this Marc” and he replied “well, I like Chase, so that’s cool” but also joking “it’s a little extra.” Once the room was covered they waited for Charli to arrive back home, and her reaction was as entertaining as they’d hoped, screaming “oh my god” and falling to the floor once she’d seen her friends’ bizarre redecoration job. “I hate all of you. Thomas why?” she said, telling Chase to “get out” once she saw him lying on her bed. “I love it when Thomas shows up to my house with pictures of my ex-boyfriend all over.” Charli and Chase finished with a friendly hug and no hard feelings, but fans are now hoping that Charli will be spearheading her own revenge prank sometime in the future.

Charli D’Amelio forced to private TikTok video after fans harass her with death rumor – Dexerto
Charli D’Amelio forced to private TikTok video after fans harass her with death rumor YouTube: 2021 Vision / Instagram: Charli D’AmelioOut of the many content creators on YouTube, there exist some who claim to be clairvoyant — even going so far as to “predict” the deaths of major celebrities and influencers. One of these YouTubers’ latest predictions involved Charli D’Amelio, TikTok’s most famous content creator with over 109 million followers, 9 billion likes and a sizeable amount of major brand deals to her name. The YouTuber claimed that Charli would pass away in 2021 — specifically, on March 12. The video itself contains no audio (outside of a few blips) and has nothing written in its description. Instead, it features a blinking eye with a single name beneath, which appears to hint that the person in question will die at a given time or date. The channel, “2021 vision,” also boasts another video, which states that Charli would pass away as the result of a car accident. Still another video from the channel shows a purported “funeral” for the star, further adding to a morbid rumor that has taken D’Amelio’s fanbase by storm. Unsurprisingly, these videos caused a horde of viewers to rush to her TikTok profile, leaving a slew of comments warning her of her purportedly impending doom — not the best thing to hear at any time, for any person. In response to the overwhelming amount of claims that she would die, Charli privated one of her most recent TikToks, which was filled with comments regarding the viral video. This has caused quite a stir in her fanbase, with many other fans decrying the sheer volume of claims that have come about as the result of a particularly disturbing YouTube account. “I kinda like Charli, but saying that she is going to die tomorrow and she is only 16 is not right,” one user said of the situation. “Get a ****ing life and leave that poor girl alone.” i know charli will be ok but I feel so bad for her, shes only 16 and the amount of hate and death threats she gets a day is disgusting. she doesn’t deserve this — elle (@damelify) March 12, 2021 “Just stop being so cruel to Charli,” another commented. “She’s an amazing person who doesn’t deserve all these hate messages!” https://twitter.com/c4tboygyu/status/1369943679406731267 So far, Charli has yet to speak out on the rumors, and the YouTube account responsible for spreading them remains active at the time of writing.

Charli D’Amelio finally opens up about “public breakup” with Lil Huddy – Dexerto
Charli D’Amelio finally opens up about “public breakup” with Lil Huddy YouTube: LILHUDDY, Charli D’AmelioTikTok star Charli D’Amelio split up with ex-boyfriend Chase Hudson in early 2020, resulting in a slew of drama that took over the internet — and now, a year later, she’s finally opening up about their breakup. Charli D’Amelio and Chase Hudson were once the ‘Brad & Angelina’ of the TikTok world. The two seemed nigh inseparable, and considering their status as social media superstars, it was hard to even use TikTok without running into news about the couple. In a sudden twist of events, though, the two parted ways, with rumors swirling that Chase had cheated on Charli with fellow TikToker Nessa Barrett — all while she was involved with Josh Richards, at the time. With Charli reigning as the platform’s most-followed creator, it’s almost unsurprising that the internet went into an uproar over these rumors. Charli later uploaded a tearful apology for taking the issue public on social media, and things seemed to calm down from there. Now, it looks like Charli and Chase are back on good terms, and are often seen hanging out with each other despite their messy breakup. The subject of relationships was brought up in an interview with the D’Amelio family on Access Hollywood on September 1, prompting Charli to open up about the status of her friendship with Hudson following their dramatic split. View this post on Instagram “Relationships at my age are hard for anyone,” she explained. “I think everyone else having a say in your relationship is something that’s definitely not easy, and I think, obviously, it’s no secret that Chase and I had a public breakup. I think it’s something we really learned from.” “I think it kind of made us grow together as people, which is why we’re so close now and are able to be such close friends, because at the end of the day, I know I can lean on him for anything, and he knows he has me.” (Topic begins at 14:11) This interview follows intense speculation in past months that the two were secretly dating. While it’s still unclear if this is the case or not, it seems that these besties aren’t letting their history get in between their relationship — friendship or otherwise.

Charli D’Amelio fans stunned by star’s resemblance to boyfriend Landon Barker – Dexerto
Charli D’Amelio fans stunned by star’s resemblance to boyfriend Landon Barker TikTok: charlidamelioTikTok star Charli D’Amelio and boyfriend Landon Barker are making fans do a double take after one of their recent videos had viewers convinced they’re each other’s doppelgangers. Charli D’Amelio is TikTok’s second most-followed creator, boasting over 149 million followers on the viral video app. She started dating boyfriend Landon Barker in Summer 2022 — and although their relationship might have initially stirred up some drama with Charli’s ex-man, Chase Hudson, they’re still going strong half a year later. The couple’s romance has also come under scrutiny from fans, with some viewers convinced that they had actually broken up after not posting any photos or videos together on social media for some time. However, these lovebirds are all over Charli’s TikTok profile right now… and it’s causing some fans to do a double take. Charli D’Amelio & Landon Barker spark “siblings or dating” comparisons On January 17, Charli uploaded a clip with Landon where they sat side by side. Viewers flooded the comments section with remarks about how similar they look, with some even referencing the viral online trend, “Siblings or dating?” “On today’s episode of siblings or dating,” one user joked. “I don’t know, does Charli look like Landon, or does Landon look like Charli?” another asked. “I swear, y’all look related,” yet another said. However, other fans aren’t in agreement, with some claiming that the couple look absolutely nothing alike in spite of the comparisons. “I don’t get it,” a viewer argued. “Just because they have the same hair color apparently they look like siblings. Why can’t people let them be happy?” Still others can’t help but feel like Landon looks a little bit like Charli’s ex-boyfriend, Chase. That’s not all; Charli posted a video with Landon and her big sis, Dixie, and commenters couldn’t help but compare all three stars and joke that they must be related. Although Charli hasn’t responded to the comments, she did clap back at fans back in December after they became convinced she was cheating on Landon with another guy.

Charli D’Amelio fans divided as TikTok star reveals her new tattoos Instagram: charlidamelioTikTok star Charli D’Amelio officially unveiled two of her newest tattoos on Instagram — but fans aren’t really sure how to feel about the influencer’s latest ink. Charli D’Amelio is TikTok’s second most-followed content creator, who lost her top spot back in June to fellow influencer Khaby Lame after two years of unrivaled popularity on the platform. Boasting over 148 million followers on the video-sharing app, Charli has also scored a slew of brand deals (even getting her own drink at Dunkin’ Donuts) on top of nabbing a reality TV show with her family, The D’Amelio Show. As part of the new season, which started airing back in September, Charli decided to show off a few of her new tattoos, the process for which was documented in the series’ latest episode. Charli posted a few pics of her new ink to Instagram on October 19. In the post, she’s got the word “rebel” tattooed on her arm in simple lettering, which fans take to mean as a tribute to her pet dog, Rebel. The TikToker also got two squiggly hearts placed on her wrist — but a few of her fans aren’t really sure how to feel about them. “I could’ve tattooed those myself while drunk,” one user said of the body art. “All that for this?” another asked “I still wanna know the thought behind those ‘hearts,’” another quipped. Charli D’Amelio explains meaning behind divisive heart tattoos In the show, Charli explained that the hearts were drawn by both of her grandmothers, and are thus another tribute to beloved family members. In fact, Charli hit back at the criticism over her new tats in the show’s newest episode. “These were really messy for a reason,” she said. “And I wanted them that way, because I didn’t want them to be different from what they drew, so that meant a lot to me.” However, there are just as many fans who are absolutely loving Charli’s new tattoos, with her comments section mostly flooded with support for the TikTok queen. These are far from the star’s first tats, too; according to Charli, she’s got a total of 15 small tattoos, with plans to get even more in the future. Charli wasn’t the only one to get inked in the latest episode of the D’Amelio show, either; in fact, her whole family went under the needle to get small tattoos that are meaningful to each of them. The D’Amelio Show is airing alongside Charli and her mother, Heidi’s, ongoing appearance in Dancing With The Stars.

Charli D’Amelio fans divided as vaping video leaks – Dexerto
Charli D’Amelio fans divided as vaping video leaks IG: Charli D’AmelioFans of TikTok sensation Charli D’Amelio appear to be divided after a video that seems to show the 16-year-old vaping surfaced on social media. Charli D’Amelio is the biggest of a new wave of TikTok celebrities, made famous from the popularity of her videos on the lip-syncing app. While the future of TikTok looks uncertain, many of its stars are finding their careers are going from strength to strength. D’Amelio, who has made her name off a host of dance choreography TikToks has amassed an incredible 80 million followers. With that level of popularity, though, comes scrutiny as well. Fans of the USA-based star were left divided when a video emerged that appears to show D’Amelio vaping. The video was not posted publicly, but surfaced on Twitter through unknown leaks. It was shared by the online news account PerezHilton, and does appear to show the 16 year old TikTokker using a vape. Some people claimed it was an anti-anxiety pen, but those claims remain unclear. #TikTok’s most followed creator, @CharliDamelio, who turned 16 in May, is all smiles after taking a hit of whatever she’s vaping. pic.twitter.com/b6SWpnrwS8 — Perez (@ThePerezHilton) August 21, 2020 There appears to be a divided response as well. Some have argued that she is actually too young to be vaping, and that someone with an audience as significant as the TikTok star should not be promoting it to their fans, many of whom are younger than Charli herself. One even called D’Amelio’s actions “illegal”. https://twitter.com/woacbofficial/status/1297698092163174401 However, many also defended the TikTok star. A common counter-argument was that the video had been leaked, so D’Amelio was in no way promoting it to her followers. One said: “This is not abnormal 16-year-old behavior. She didn’t endorse or promote it, and was under the impression this would be private. Whoever leaked this is gross.” This is not abnormal 16 year old behavior. She didn’t endorse or promote it, and was under the impression this would be private. Whoever leaked this is gross, and intentionally put her in the crossfire for drama, ridicule, hate and lectures, simply for being a teenager. — Naley (@Naley__) August 24, 2020 Charli has not commented publicly on the video, with many users arguing there is no need to justify the video or explain it.

Charli D’Amelio explains why she’ll keep confronting haters online – Dexerto
Charli D’Amelio explains why she’ll keep confronting haters online IG: CharliDAmelioCharli D’Amelio, the world’s most-followed TikTok star, has revealed why she will continue to confront online haters, explaining how she thinks it may help other creators dealing with similar issues. The exponential rise of TikTok has been nothing short of jaw-dropping. From the point of obscurity it now sits as one of the world’s most popular social networking site, bringing with it a whole new group of celebrities. Charli D’Amelio is one of these: despite being just 16 years old, she currently sits at over 57 million followers on the social media platform. However, this popularity has inherent downsides too, in the form of online trolling and hate. While only 16, it seems that Charli has come to terms with the influence she now has and, in a May 21 interview with people.com, she opened up about how she can inspire others who may be experiencing similar negativity over the internet. “I do try to talk about it as much as I can. A lot of people are afraid to,” she said. “I feel the more I talk about it, the more normalized it is for people to open about their feelings. If I’m talking about it and they know that this bothers me and they are going through a similar thing, maybe at school, just showing people that it’s okay to have feelings. It’s okay to not be 100% all the time.” The inspiring attitude is a testament to the TikTok star’s maturity, as well as her endeavors to create a more positive online environment. She has made her name on TikTok by posting dance videos and tutorials, like the one below. “When you do discuss it, you tend to get more [hate],” she continued. “But at the same time, there are people who reach out to me with stories of how they are struggling through similar issues. It brings a lot of people together, and that’s what I do it for.” She has, previously, called out TikTok trends she does not agree with, and shared emotional videos of herself dealing with online negativity. With such a monumental followings come a responsibility to influence an audience positively, and it looks like Charli is well aware of this and doing all she can to inspire her viewers.

Charli D’Amelio explains why she needed surgery to fix her nose Instagram: Charli D’AmelioCharli D’Amelio has revealed to her 71.7 million TikTok followers that she recently underwent surgery for a breathing issue which stopped her from attending dance classes. The 16-year-old is TikTok’s top creator and grew to fame for lip-syncing, dancing, and collaborating with other famous creators such as Chase Hudson. Outside of TikTok Charli is also a competitive dancer. In a TikTok video posted on Thursday, Charli showed herself in a hospital with tape around her nose and gauze underneath with some blood. The caption says: “Surgery is done and I am so beyond excited that I was finally able to fix my breathing!!!! And soon I will be able to be in dance classes again!!” Hundreds of thousands of users commented wishing her well including singer Charli Puth who wrote: “I did this surgery too, it changed my life. The craziest part is when they take the stints out and you can breathe perfectly for the first time.” Other TikTok stars who expressed their sympathies included onlyjayus and gabrielabee. The video currently has more than 30 million views after only being up for 14 hours, and has more than 7.5 million likes. In April, Charli first let her followers know about her breathing problems via Twitter. She wrote: “Fun story time so I broke my nose in august and ever since then I have had breathing problems in my right nostril. fun story time so i broke my nose in august and ever since then i have had breathing problems in my right nostril i was supposed to have surgery in november and to fix it but then i started having problems in my left nostril and now i can barley breathe out of my nose at all — charli (@charlidamelio) April 5, 2020 “I was supposed to have surgery in November and to fix it but then I started having problems in my left nostril and now I can barely breathe out of my nose at all” Charli was recently involved in some explosive drama between TikTok’s biggest stars after she revealed that ex-boyfriend Chase “lilhuddy” Hudson had cheated on her when they were dating. Charli D’Amelio explains why she “lost the passion” for posting on TikTok – Dexerto
Charli D’Amelio explains why she “lost the passion” for posting on TikTok Instagram: charlidamelioTikTok star Charli D’Amelio revealed on the latest episode of the 2 Chix podcast why she “lost the passion” for posting on TikTok, but has said she’s working on getting back into it despite the negativity she receives on the app. 16-year-old Charli D’Amelio has become a global star within the space of over a year, and now stands as the single most followed person on TikTok, with over 109 million followers, a number that’s growing by the day. She and sister Dixie, who has also become enormously successful on the app, host a podcast together each week called 2 Chix, in which they discuss important and entertaining topics from the week. This episode, however, Dixie couldn’t make it because she was in the recording studio, so that meant that Charli went solo. While she found her following on video-sharing app TikTok, it seems that it isn’t always as fun as it seems, with the star talking about how the constant online negativity affects her motivation. “I also wanted to talk about the content that I make on TikTok,” the star began. “So, it’s extremely difficult to continue posting on a platform where the people that are watching your videos don’t actually like, want to see you and a lot of the feedback is negative, it’s very hard to do that. “And I just kind of, lost the passion for it because it used to be really fun for me. And I’m working back into it.” Read More: Why is #DREAM19MIL trending on Twitter? – Charli went on to talk about how difficult it is to post to a platform where negativity is so prevalent, saying, “the videos that I made with the Orbeez are the videos that I enjoy making, but it’s also hard when everyone’s ready to jump and criticize the second something is taken the wrong way, or words are mixed up. That’s why I don’t speak as much besides the podcast, because it’s scary.” Topic starts at 13:10 However, despite the difficulties she faces, the TikToker also seems to be remaining positive amid the hate. “I don’t make content to make other people feel a certain way,” she explained. “At the end of the day, I make content because it’s a fun thing that I get to do, and if people enjoy it, and they wanna be on Team Charli and support me, that’s great. But once again, that’s up to them.” She continued to say: “I do have people that enjoy my videos and that’s why I never completely stopped posting, because if ten million people hate me but I helped five people out, no matter what it is, then what’s the point in listening to those people that don’t like you.” While Charli revealed that maintaining her passion for TikTok was difficult, fans will be relieved that it doesn’t seem like she’ll be leaving the platform anytime soon.

Charli D’Amelio explains why she didn’t post about Landon Barker breakup – Dexerto
Charli D’Amelio explains why she didn’t post about Landon Barker breakup HuluTikTok star Charli D’Amelio opened up on an episode of her Hulu show about why she didn’t post about her breakup with Landon Barker online. Charli D’Amelio and Landon Barker’s relationship has been besieged with breakup rumors ever since they started dating back in summer 2022. Over the ensuing year-and-a-half, the couple dodged claims of their separation numerous times — usually sparked by the fact that they hadn’t posted any photos with each other on social media in a while. However, both stars usually put these rumors to rest by posting a new photo together… but thanks to the latest episode of The D’Amelio Show, it seems that fans’ theories weren’t wrong. Charli D’Amelio reveals breakup with Landon Barker During the season finale of The D’Amelio Show on Hulu, Charli admitted that she and Landon had, in fact, broken up. According to Charli, Landon had “flipped out” on her during her birthday trip in the Bahamas. “He was like, ‘You don’t know how to handle my anxiety,’” Charli explained. “We were fighting every single night. It was like every little thing that I did.” Charli also claimed that Landon had left “ten minutes before” her birthday party, causing people to question where he’d gone. “He was just like, so mad at me,” she said. However, the TikToker avoided posting about their split on social media, saying it would have “disrupted” her way of healing after the breakup. “I’ve decided I’m not gonna be putting the breakup on the internet,” she said. “I think that it just disrupts the healing process that you’re going through. It’s so much easier to put stuff out after you’ve already dealt with it.” “No matter what, we still have respect for each other. I think we both are so young and have so much to learn about ourselves. It’s important for me to be completely independent and thriving without having a boyfriend.” Charli’s version of events is at odds with statements Landon has made in recent interviews. During an interview on the Zach Sang Show in early October, Landon claimed that he and Charli were still together and that they simply weren’t a very public-facing couple. “If it’s authentic, you don’t have to post it,” Landon said. “I was still seeing her [Charli] all the time, […] but that’s probably why people thought that, because we weren’t as active on social media.” For now, their relationship status isn’t exactly clear — but we’ll make sure to keep you updated right here on Dexerto.

She has become well known for her dance videos, and along with sister Dixie has become one of the most prominent creators online, even starring in their own reality show and launching their Social Tourist clothing line. While Charli often posts on her main account, for a period of time in 2021 she had a secret ‘spam’ account named user4350486101671. Despite not promoting the account, she managed to garner millions of followers, and shared a variety of different bits of content that she didn’t post on her main account. However, some time later, fans noticed that the account had seemingly disappeared, leaving many wondering what had happened to the popular page. Charli D’Amelio explains exciting reason why she hasn’t been posting YouTube: Charli D’AmelioTikTok star Charli D’Amelio hasn’t been posting frequently on the video platform lately… but the influencer claims it’s because she’s got something seriously “amazing” in the works. Boasting over 134 million followers on the viral video app, Charli has expanded her horizons to snag makeup and nail polish collabs, got her very own drink at Dunkin Donuts, and even scored a Hulu reality show about her life as a top-tier social media celeb. Charli D’Amelio embarrasses Dixie during interview with Trippie Redd – Dexerto
Charli D’Amelio embarrasses Dixie during interview with Trippie Redd YouTube: Dixie D’AmelioIt’s probably hard enough being the sister of TikTok’s biggest star, but not even Dixie D’Amelio’s own show gets a break from Charli D’Amelio. [jwplayer ZXB9LNVP] Dixie’s biggest interview yet was gatecrashed by Charli. On Wednesday, October 21 Dixie dropped her interview with rap artist Trippie Redd on her weekly YouTube talk show. In the past, Dixie has interviewed her fellow TikTok famous friends including Lil Huddy, Addison Rae, and her own boyfriend Noah Beck, but Trippie is by far the biggest star she’s had so far. She looked noticeably embarrassed when Charli interrupted while filming, just when Dixie and Trippie were getting deep about music, and online hate. Charli almost always appears in Dixie’s interviews as the annoying younger sister, but never with a guest as huge as Trippie Redd. Charli can be seen in the background slowly walking down the stairs and Dixie is forced to introduce her. Charli says “Who are you?” and then an awkward “oh, cool” when Trippie introduces himself, at which Dixie awkwardly laughs. But Trippie doesn’t seem phased. A little later on Charli walks in again, alongside a caption that says “My sister Charli likes to randomly walk on set and ask questions, even though she isn’t mic’d.” Charli briefly takes over as host and asks Trippie if he dances and makes fun of Dixie because she can’t. Fans were totally here for Charli gatecrashing in the comments. One person wrote: “I love how Charli just walks down and sees Trippie and isn’t even phased.” Some people thought Charli was just joking by pretending not to know who the famous artist is, spotting her cheeky smile at Dixie afterward, while others said they felt secondhand embarrassment on behalf of Charli. If Charli really doesn’t know who Trippie Redd is, it comes as a surprise after some of his songs have been labeled “TikTok songs” that Charli herself has danced to on the app. Trippie’s hit “Dead” has been used in more than half a million videos on TikTok. Despite the awkward interruptions, it has just been announced that both Dixie and Charli have been nominated for creator of the year for the 10th annual Streamy Awards.

Charli D’Amelio dismisses chance of Chase Hudson reunion – Dexerto
Charli D’Amelio dismisses chance of Chase Hudson reunion Instagram: charlidamelio/Instagram: lilhuddyDespite repairing their friendship after a tumultuous break up, Charli D’Amelio has confirmed that a reunion is not on the cards for herself and fellow Hype House resident Chase Hudson. [jwplayer A1FBSjyO] Back in early 2020, Charli D’Amelio and Chase ‘Lil Huddy’ Hudson were TikTok’s biggest power couple. With a huge 110.9 million TikTok following combined, the two were a force to be reckoned with and seemed to be very much in love. Charli on Chase Hudson reunion However, despite a seemingly amicable break up in April 2020, the perfect world they created all came crashing down in the week of July 6, as the two shared a furious war of words online that has come to be known as ‘Dramageddon’. Now, D’Amelio is adamant that her relationship with Hudson is nothing more than friendship, and in a recent interview with The Hollywood Fix, she seemingly put those rumors to bed once and for all. When asked if there was any chance of herself and Chase getting back together, she replied: “I think that we need to normalize exes being friends.” Topic starts at 04:05 So, to the disappointment of Chase and Charli shippers out there, it looks like the ship for any romance between the two of them has truly sailed. Both of them have had a difficult time recently, with Hudson being forced to shut down rumours that he tried to take his own life while D’Amelio recently went public about her eating disorder. Charli and Chase’s drama-filled history The animosity between the pair started when she accused him of cheating on her with Nessa Barrett on Twitter after unfollowing him on various social media platforms. When Howard tried to deny the claims, saying “All of this going on because I kissed Nessa while we were both single”, D’Amelio quipped in a now-deleted Tweet: “Then you shouldn’t have come to my house after without telling me.” In response to these accusations about him going public, Hudson then proceeded to break the internet by laying out claims of infidelity against various other TikTok stars like Dixie D’Amelio, Griffin Johnson, and Jaden Hossler. The two later retracted their claims and made peace with the other influencers involved, and since then it seems like they have taken steps to repair their relationship with one another. In an interview with paparazzi at the end of July, Hudson revealed that he and D’Amelio were back on good terms and were hanging out again. Topic starts at 00:45 Meanwhile, D’Amelio reposted one of Hudson’s pictures to her Instagram story last month, which quickly sparked dating rumors between the two. Ultimately, it’s great that these two are friends again so that they have each other to lean on in these struggles.

Charli D’Amelio denies TikTok rumors that she has cancer – Dexerto
Charli D’Amelio denies TikTok rumors that she has cancer YouTube: Charli D’Amelio[jwplayer ksH6zuKH]TikTok superstar Charli D’Amelio has hit out at the rumors that had been circulating claiming that she was suffering from cancer. As TikTok has blown up and made waves on social media, a number of creators have vaulted into the mainstream. Though, there are none bigger than Charli D’Amelio. The 16-year-old has over 68 million followers on TikTok and has leveraged her success into huge Twitter and Instagram followings, as well as appearances on late-night talk shows. Though, with that huge level of success comes plenty of negativity. There are haters – be it another content creator entirely or just fans of someone else who isn’t a fan of you – as well as trolls to deal with. For Charli, the most recent troll has come in the form of TikTok comments claiming that she has cancer. As this is patently untrue, she’s hit back at what is currently being spread about her. “I’ve also seen a lot of rumors about myself in these past few days and some of them are crazy, so, please do not believe things you hear unless they come from me,” the TikTok star said in her July 5 livestream before addressing the claims head-on. “I’ve seen on a couple different accounts and TikToks that were saying that I had cancer which is not true at all, first of all, and second of all, not something to joke about.” She added that joking about that sort of thing can be “hurtful” for others who might be dealing it with, even if it’s false in regards to her. https://www.instagram.com/p/CCSB9ICH_WK/ Charli also noted that she wasn’t “mad” about what was being said but hoped that fans would understand that it isn’t “something to joke about.” Whether or not the claims will continue to fill up her comments section remains to be seen, but at least her fans will be on high alert and should try to help D’Amelio out by hitting the report button.

Charli D’Amelio deletes tearful TikTok responding to hate – Dexerto
Charli D’Amelio deletes tearful TikTok responding to hate Instagram: charlidamelioTikTok’s most-followed star, Charli D’Amelio, has quickly deleted a tearful post to the platform responding to the hateful comments she gets on social media. It’s no secret that the top online personalities frequently receive hate messages from trolls, commenting on their appearances, actions or manner in a derogatory way. It’s no new creation but, with the sharp rise of very young influencers through platforms such as TikTok, it’s growing more prominent than ever. It’s also well-known what kind of effect the comments of trolls can have on influencers, potentially taking a huge on toll on their mental health, as evidenced in a heartbreaking video from beauty YouTuber Imogenation posted barely two days before Charli’s emotional plea. With over 50 million followers on TikTok, Charli D’Amelio has more of a platform than many of us could ever imagine, but with that comes even more people that can send her hate or disrespectful messages, as shown in the now-deleted TikTok. Although she has spoken out in the past about how she deals with the hate she receives, at only 16 years old, it can be overwhelming. The deleted TikTok displayed a compilation of the hateful comments she receives on a daily basis, repeating “I’m just a kid” as the messages quickly fly through the screen. The caption suggests that people excuse the hate by telling Charli that “you asked for this,” likely to do with her “asking for” her newfound level of celebrity and suggesting that she should accept it because it’s just part of the experience. She goes on to say that she is a person and she has feelings, adding “you don’t have to like me but these things hurt.” Online hate continues to be a huge issue for celebrities of any nature, not just social media stars, but the fact that D’Amelio rose to prominence at the tender age of 15 and, now barely 16, is posting videos in tears because of the comments she receives, is suggestive of a deeper issue. Unfortunately, it does seem to be a side effect of having a huge platform, as many will attest, and right now there seems to be almost no way of putting an end to it, no matter how many lives it affects. Charli has not yet commented on the issue elsewhere or explained why the TikTok has been deleted.

Charli D’Amelio defends Addison Rae, tells TikTok haters to “shut up” – Dexerto
Charli D’Amelio defends Addison Rae, tells TikTok haters to “shut up” YouTube: Charli D’AmelioTikTok queen Charli D’Amelio has had enough of internet critics, telling trolls to buzz off in a pointed Instagram Live broadcast where she defended names like Addison Rae against body-shaming users. [jwplayer ZXB9LNVP] It’s no secret that the internet can be a brutal place. The advent of social media has allowed people from all over the world to connect with one another, for better or for worse — and not everyone has a positive outlook on life. From the average Instagram user to social media stars like Addison Rae, it seems that no one is above criticism from internet trolls, causing some users to completely lock down their accounts while others have learned to handle the negativity with a swift block. Not everyone can drown out the negativity, though, especially if there’s a lot of it, and it seems that Charli D’Amelio has taken notice of quite a few negative comments about her fellow TikTokers. “Quite honestly, I know I look good,” Charli said while doing her makeup in an October Instagram Live. “Addison should know she looks good. Maddie should know she looks good. Cynthia should know she looks good. Like, shut up!” “Keep it to yourself!” she continued. “If you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say it at all. People say like, such rude things to like, Sissy Sheridan. Sissy is so beautiful. Literally one of the most beautiful girls I know. You’re mad that she doesn’t cuss? How is that affecting you?” “Even like, Bella Poarch,” the TikTok star added. “She uses the face zoom filter, and she looks good doing it. You guys gave her the likes. Don’t go back on what you said, because she has a lot of followers.” View this post on Instagram [SWIPE] #charlidamelio had enough of people’s antics!😩 she also mentions cynthia, addison, madi, and sissy! It’s no secret that the celebs she mentioned have been getting quite a lot of backlash lately; from Bella Poarch being accused of acting childlike on purpose to trolls body-shaming Addison Rae’s curves, it looks like Charli has simply had enough of the negativity. She’s not wrong for pointing it out, either. Reports state that the current global health crisis has seen a dramatic rise in cyberbullying, and a quick look at comments on TikTok show that this isn’t a mistruth. In these times, it’s always good to remember Bill and Ted’s classic saying: “Be excellent to each other.”

Charli D’Amelio cries during Instagram Live over 100M follower drama – Dexerto
Charli D’Amelio cries during Instagram Live over 100M follower drama Instagram: @charlidamelio / TikTokInternet sensation Charli D’Amelio broke down crying during an Instagram Live broadcast on November 19 while addressing backlash over a comment she’d made about her TikTok following during a YouTube video with James Charles. [jwplayer ZXB9LNVP] The drama started on November 16 after The D’Amelio Family posted a video to their YouTube channel in which they all sat down and had dinner with James Charles, a fellow YouTuber largely known for his beauty and makeup content. In the upload, Charli’s upcoming 100 million TikTok follower milestone was brought up. “I wish I had more time! Imagine if I hit 100 mil a year after hitting a mil,” she said. “Was the 95 [million] not enough for you?” Charles jokingly replied, with the star quickly hitting back with, “I was just saying, like, even numbers,” while smiling and sticking her tongue out for the camera. Fans of the TikTok sensation were divided over her comment, with some accusing her of being “ungrateful” for the following she has – something she opened up about in a tearful Instagram Live on November 19. (Topic starts at 14:57.) Charli D’Amelio’s tearful response to TikTok follower criticism Charli started off her live broadcast by revealing that she’d received some awful comments from critics following the November 16 D’Amelio Family video. “Seeing how people reacted to this, like, I don’t even know if I wanna do this anymore. Like, this is messed up stuff that people are saying!” she exclaimed through tears. “Like, people telling me to hang myself, people just like, blatantly disrespecting the fact that I’m still a human being is not okay at all!” “You can hate on me for whatever I’ve done, but the fact that all of this is happening because of a misunderstanding, like, I just feel like that’s not okay,” she continued, before stating that she wasn’t sure if she wanted to continue making content. “If this is the community that I’m in and the community that I put myself in, I don’t know if I want to do that anymore.” https://twitter.com/defnoodles/status/1329490226281021440 The 16-year-old then went on to explain why she made the comment in the first place, and revealed that it was because she had a surprise planned for fans. “…I don’t want you guys to think that I don’t care or think that I think you guys are numbers. I was also extremely excited because I do have something really, really amazing that’s going to help out a lot of people,” she said. “…It’s like, a huge thing that I’ve been so excited to do, and I really wanted to share it with you guys.” According to livecounts.io – a real-time follower counter – Charli has lost almost one million TikTok followers due to the backlash over her original comment during the family video. It is unclear at the time of writing whether she will be continuing to make content in the future, or whether she will indeed stop making content or at least take a break over the situation. As always, keep it locked to Dexerto for any developments.

Charli D’Amelio “creeped out” by Twitter threads about her feet & stomach – Dexerto
Charli D’Amelio “creeped out” by Twitter threads about her feet & stomach Instagram: charlidamelioTikTok sensation Charli D’Amelio explained on the 2 Chix podcast with sister Dixie that she is “creeped out” by bizarre Twitter threads that compile zoomed-in images of her feet and torso. In little over a year, 16-year-old Charli D’Amelio went from being an ordinary teen to a global superstar, all thanks to her overwhelmingly popular dance videos on video-sharing app TikTok. She’s so popular, in fact, that she has over 100 million followers on the platform, making her the only person to reach that milestone and therefore the most followed person on the app. While her success story has allowed her some amazing business opportunities, like getting her own drink at Dunkin’ Donuts, along with allowing her to meet and befriend some of her favorite creators like David Dobrik, internet fame definitely comes with its downsides. In the past, the star has spoken up on issues regarding a picture of her in a swimsuit that was photoshopped inappropriately, that people tried to claim was a real photo. She implored her fans, “don’t believe everything you see on the internet.” Now on the 2 Chix podcast with sister Dixie D’Amelio, Charli has spoken up about a series of weird Twitter threads about her, that focus on posting pictures on parts of her body. “You know what I wanted to talk about?” she began. “On Twitter, I saw something that freaked me out a bit. There are like a solid five Twitter threads, dedicated to my feet.” Dixie said she heard of a similar thing happening to someone else too, describing them as “one of those spam things.” Topic starts at 7:28 The star continued by saying, “then there was also one for my stomach, which creeped me out a bit.” When Dixie asked whether it was good or bad, Charli replied, “no, it was super sweet, but I was like, hm… They were all like super zoomed-in pictures.” While the star seems to be taking the strange Twitter threads in fairly good spirits, this kind of bizarre behavior towards popular young stars seems to be commonplace and is yet another obstacle Charli has had to face while in the spotlight.

Charli D’Amelio collabs with Jordan Turpin on TikTok and fans are loving it – Dexerto
Charli D’Amelio collabs with Jordan Turpin on TikTok and fans are loving it Instagram: jordan_turpinCharli D’Amelio & child abuse survivor Jordan Turpin have gone viral on TikTok, with fans delighted that the two social media stars finally got the chance to film together. 21-year-old Jordan Turpin was one of 13 siblings to survive the so-called “house of horrors” in California, where they were abused by parents David and Louise Turpin. In January 2018, Jordan managed to escape the house and call 911 on a deactivated cell phone, leading to the rescue of the rest of her siblings. The story of the Turpin siblings stunned the world, with many describing Jordan as a hero after a 20/20 special documenting the story went viral in 2021. Since then, she has built a substantial following on social media, particularly on TikTok where she has over 600,000 followers. Her bio reads: “I love helping others! Love to dance and write songs!” In April, Jordan uploaded a video featuring herself and none other than TikTok sensation Charli D’Amelio, who is the most followed person on the entire app at the time of writing. Click here if TikTok doesn’t load “Hey I had so much fun with you today thank you @charlidamelio,” she wrote in the caption of the clip, where the pair danced to Kesha’s song ‘Cannibal’ which still remains one of the app’s most iconic dances. Charli also reposted the video to her own account, where it got over 1 million likes. Fans were delighted to see that Jordan had gotten the chance to film with Charli, with one comment with over 5000 likes reading: “yay you finally met her! I saw on a video you love Charli and her family! You look so happy. Congratulations.” “Omg I’m so proud you finally met her,” said another. Underneath Charli’s video, one fan wrote: “This is such a nice surprise Charli, so proud of Jordan.” Charli remains the most-followed person on the entire app, though she was banned briefly on April 13 along with fellow influencers Bella Poarch and Addison Rae.

Charli D’Amelio claps back after Kio Cyr claims Dixie uses her for clout – Dexerto
Charli D’Amelio claps back after Kio Cyr claims Dixie uses her for clout TikTok: Dixie D’Amelio/ Instagram: KiocyrCharli D’Amelio has clapped back at Sway House TikToker Kio Cyr on the 2Chix podcast after he claimed Dixie used her for clout in a Twitter spat. Dixie is used to receiving online hate, and accusations that she is riding the success of her sister, Charli. In the past, it has even driven her to abstain from social media. But despite having a music career and her own YouTube show, it seems like people still aren’t convinced she’s achieved things on her own merit, too, including fellow TikToker Kio Cyr. Kio accused her of ‘owing’ her success to her sister after an unexpected feud broke out between them. When Kio implied he was planning to gossip about other influencers after TikTok Room’s Instagram page went down, Dixie responded, saying, “imagine minding your own business,” although she claimed she was hacked after. Kio hit back during a live feed. “We have to address the ‘tea’ involving me,” he said. “Dixie’s telling me to mind my own business when she has an entire show where she talks about ‘tea.’” “You know, not all of us have Charli D’Amelio as a sister, and not all of us are dating Noah Beck, okay? Some of us have got to make money other ways.” Dixie ignored the jab about her success. Instead, she addressed the claims he made about her show. “I don’t put information out that isn’t put out by the person who’s involved in the situation. Nice try though, Kio,” she said. Charli claps back Meanwhile, Charli has come to Dixie’s defense in the latest episode of their podcast 2 Chix, in which Charli hosts by herself. TikTok’s most popular creator said Kio” doesn’t know how to mind his own business”, before adding “You might say my sister can clout chase me, but what have you been doing in the Sway house, boy?” https://twitter.com/defnoodles/status/1400545221578936322?s=20 “Let’s get our stuff together. We’ve all got our own stuff, we’re all looking out for ourselves, but at the same time it’s not our place to talk about things that haven’t been brought onto the internet, you know. We all have our personal lives.” While Kio previously tried to play down the beef, claiming they don’t actually “talk sh*t all the time,” it seems like Charli’s word is pretty final.

Charli D’Amelio claims she gets more hate on TikTok just because she’s a girl – Dexerto
Charli D’Amelio claims she gets more hate on TikTok just because she’s a girl Instagram: Charli D’AmelioTikTok queen Charli D’Amelio has spoken out about the “harsh” criticism she receives as a female TikToker. In an interview with Access Hollywood, the young sensation stated that she feels “incredibly frustrated” by the backlash. Charli was met with controversy as recently as August 27 when a photographer slammed her for “making millions” from “his work.” The star has often opened up about the hate comments she’s received. In a TikTok posted May 2020, she exposed commenters drawing attention to her “skinny” body. One user even claimed she “doesn’t deserve” her fame. On September 1, Charli stated that “other people” probably wouldn’t be met with the same “comebacks” as her. Topic starts at 12:33 During the D’Amelio family interview, presenter Sibley Scoles turned her attention to 17-year-old Charli. She questioned whether Charli had been “held to a different standard” in comparison to “male TikTok creators.” The correspondent then went on to say “I feel like that happens to women in a lot of arenas.” The star said “I stand by that statement” before clarifying that “I definitely do get a lot of harsh comebacks.” She stated that “I see other people doing the same thing… and not getting the same response.” Fellow sensation and sister Dixie interjected that the TikTok star meant “men.” The statement was met with mixed reactions Some users praised Charli’s comments on Instagram. “She’s right,” one commenter said. “Female influencer and celebrities get more hate than male influencers and celebrities.” Another user commented on fans’ reactions to drama. “Its seen as typical behavior if men get into drama,” they said. “But if a woman does it, she usually gets ten times more backlash.” Other people weren’t so convinced. “Can’t defend yourself so you bring feminism into it,” one commented. “Who’s even hating on her,” said another. The D’Amelio Show is set to be released on Hulu, September 3.

Charli D’Amelio, Chase Hudson & more say “bye bye” to TikTok before ban – Dexerto
Charli D’Amelio, Chase Hudson & more say “bye bye” to TikTok before ban TikTok: Chase Hudson Instagram: Charlie D’AmelioNumerous TikTok stars have reacted to the news that people in the US will no longer be able to download the viral video sharing app from September 20, news that could signify the beginning of the end for an app that has skyrocketed in popularity within recent years. Shockwaves were sent through the global TikTok community when Donald Trump signed an August 6 executive order that set a 45-day deadline for the Commerce Department to decide whether Chinese company Bytedance’s apps such as TikTok and WeChat posed a threat to national security. For a period of time, it appeared that companies such as Microsoft and even Walmart would invest in the US branch of the company in order to allow operations to continue as normal. But with no business deal yet agreed — and the impending Sunday deadline — it appears unlikely that there’s any possibility of the situation improving by that time. This, of course, poses a risk for creators who have made their platforms through the app, as once this transaction ban is put in place, it will be difficult for the app to operate as it did before and may signal the end of TikTok as we know it. Some creators on the app have spoken out in response to the shattering news. Chase Hudson a.k.a. Lil’ Huddy posted a video in which he pleaded with Trump to “just please let me have the one thing that I like, please.” He even jokingly activated a taser in front of the camera in protest of the upcoming ban. TikTok queen, Charli D’Amelio — who has almost 90 million followers on the app — uploaded one of her regular dance videos, but subtly referenced the news by captioning it “follow me on Triller,” with a fan replying: “Is this goodbye, Charli?” Triller is an app structured in a very similar way to TikTok, with endless scrolling and portrait format. It could be a potential candidate for a TikTok replacement if this ban has a detrimental effect on TikTok’s business. Griffin Johnson retweeted a message that read: “No one is happy more than Griffin that TikTok is getting banned, homeboy been warning you for months that it’s getting banned, but y’all sh*t on him.” https://twitter.com/lomlgriffin/status/1307011170633756675 Sway House member Bryce Hall tweeted a sad, but simple “bye bye TikTok…” Clearly not holding out much hope for the future of the app, now the ban looks like it’s really going ahead. TikTok will reportedly be removed from the US app store on September 20 if no further deal is arranged by then. Anyone who already has the app will supposedly still be able to use it, but will be unable to further update the app, leaving US users at a disadvantage when ByteDance roll out further updates.

Charli D’Amelio & Chase Hudson “leaked” photos spark controversy among fans YouTube: Chase HudsonA set of images showing TikTok stars Charli D’Amelio and Chase Hudson hugging and kissing have spread across social media, sparking speculation that the couple are back together, but also controversy over the source of the images. Charli and Chase, also known as ‘Lil Huddy’ have had an on and off relationship since 2019. The pair had a very public breakup in March 2020, after rumors about Chase being unfaithful. As two of the biggest stars from the world of TikTok, keeping their relationship private has been pretty much impossible, and they’ve been reminded of this once again, as a set of photos leaked on various TikTok ‘tea’ pages, which post drama and gossip about the stars. However, the origin of the photos, and how old they might be, is unclear, leaving fans suspecting that they have been leaked without the permission of the two young celebrities. Charli D’Amelio celebrates major TikTok milestone in race to overtake Khaby Lame – Dexerto
Charli D’Amelio celebrates major TikTok milestone in race to overtake Khaby Lame Instagram, TikTok: charli d’amelio, khabylame / YouTube: Nas DailyCharli D’Amelio has just celebrated hitting 150 million followers on TikTok as she continues to catch up to Khaby Lame, the app’s most-followed creator. Charli D’Amelio was TikTok’s most-followed influencer for just over two years after overtaking fellow creator Loren Gray back in March 2022. However, her reign was toppled by Senegalese-Italian personality Khaby Lame in June of 2022, who continues to sit on the throne of TikTok royalty almost a year later. Lame’s explosive rise to stardom has set him at the pinnacle of internet royalty — but Charli D’Amelio isn’t far behind even after all these months have passed. Charli D’Amelio celebrates reaching 150 million TikTok followers At the time of writing, Charli boasts over 150 million followers, a milestone she celebrated with friends and family in a TikTok uploaded on March 1. In the clip, Charli walks into a venue to be met with a giant balloon display congratulating her on her new follower count, as well as a cake saying, “Congrats on 150 mil!” Although Charli looked completely blindsided by her family’s apparently unexpected surprise party, their kind gesture shines a light on the ongoing follower battle between the former TikTok queen and her rival, Khaby. According to statistics from Social Blade, both Charli and Khaby are continuing to garner a similar amount of followers per week. The stats claim that, over the last week, Khaby has gained 500,000 followers, while Charli has accrued over 400,000 followers. Right now, Lame boasts 155 million followers on TikTok — just 5 million over his rival Charli. With both creators gaining a similar amount of followers each, there’s no telling how the race to TikTok fame will play out over the coming year… but considering that Lame has managed to keep his throne after seven months shows him as the clear fan favorite, for now.

Charli D’Amelio calls out TikTok over 0 view videos: “Shadowbanned?” – Dexerto
Charli D’Amelio calls out TikTok over 0 view videos: “Shadowbanned?” Charli D’Amelio: InstagramCharli D’Amelio has called out TikTok after noticing some of her latest videos had racked up a grand total of zero views, leaving many of her fans wondering if she’d been shadowbanned. D’Amelio has some 135 million followers on her account, where she’s racked up a total of 10.5 billion views. As one of the platform’s biggest creators, it’s unusual to see that her account has been changed without notice. However, on February 9, she seemed none the wiser when her videos wouldn’t upload properly, hinting at a shadowban. The difference between a shadowban and an outright ban is simple: The former means that the user can still navigate the app as normal, using their login details, but cannot post content. Whereas, an outright ban would mean Charli is locked out of the application completely. Has Charli D’Amelio been shadowbanned on TikTok? The popular content creator – best known for her lip sync videos on TikTok – shared a screenshot showing she has potentially been banned from posting. She said: “Why? TikTok am I grounded?” Based on the screenshot she posted, it appears that a total of four videos since February 8 have been uploaded, but not made public due to the ban. Her last shared video was called ‘on the way to acting class,’ which was posted just 24 hours before the shadowban was suspected. Charli D’Amelio on TikTok: Twitter reactions The replies seem to have formed a consensus over the problem, and it’s extremely likely that a shadowban has been enforced by TikTok – for reasons unknown at the time of writing. One Twitter user replied: “They really temp banned their biggest creator.” Another advised her on the situation: “Try deleting it and re-downloading it. That’s what I did when I got shadowbanned and it worked for me.” try deleting it and re downloading it. that’s what i did when i got shadow banned and it worked for me — abbi (@abbismelio) February 9, 2022 Dexerto will continue to monitor this story and keep readers updated with any developments, should they emerge.

Charli D’Amelio calls Landon Barker romance “freeing” compared to Dixie & Noah relationship – Dexerto
Charli D’Amelio calls Landon Barker romance “freeing” compared to Dixie & Noah relationship YouTube: The Tom Ward ShowTikTok star Charli D’Amelio says her relationship with Landon Barker is “freeing” compared to big sis Dixie’s romance with Noah Beck, which is currently plagued with breakup rumors from fans. Charli D’Amelio went public with Landon Barker, the son of Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker, in June 2022. Since then, the couple haven’t exactly been super showy with their new romance. Charli notably posted her first TikTok with Landon months after they started dating, and rarely posts pics with her boyfriend to her Instagram stories. This is a big part of why she finds her relationship with Landon to be “freeing,” as told in an interview with People on September 21. “We post each other when we want to,” Charli said. “That’s been freeing. I feel like it saves us from any speculation of, ‘Oh, they haven’t seen each other,’ which I’ve seen my sister go through. That is never fun.” Charli’s answer referenced her sister, Dixie’s, relationship with TikToker Noah Beck, which has been plagued with breakup rumors ever since they started dating back in 2020 and have only amped up after Dixie shaved her head. Although Dixie and Noah have said multiple times that they’ve merely taken their romance offline for privacy reasons, fans aren’t convinced they’re still an item, as Noah wasn’t seen celebrating with Dixie at her 21st birthday bash and wasn’t in the room when she buzzed her hair short. Charli feels “lucky” relationship with Landon not under speculation from fans Charli, by comparison, feels “lucky” that she isn’t dealing with the same amount of speculation regarding her own relationship with Landon. “I think I’m very lucky to have someone like Landon in my life that I don’t even feel the need to look at my phone and look at that stuff,” she admitted. “I just get to be in the moment with the people that love me.” That isn’t to say that Charli and Landon haven’t had their fair share of drama since they started dating, as Charli’s ex-boyfriend, Lil Huddy, apparently called her out for being a “homie-hopper” in one of his songs after she and Landon went public.

Charli D’Amelio breaks silence on Addison Rae drama – Dexerto
Charli D’Amelio breaks silence on Addison Rae drama Anna Oop, Addison Rae – YouTube[jwplayer mgzBNoPb]TikTok star Charli D’Amelio has officially spoken out on the drama surrounding herself and fellow creator Addison Rae, after the latest was exposed for having liked comments questioning D’Amelio’s popularity before her explosive rise to fame. Rae became the center of internet backlash after these older comments came to light, which had been made in November 2019 underneath a few of her own TikTok videos. Many of the comments threw shade toward Charli’s appearance and questioned how she had become so popular on the video app, leading fans to doubt their apparent friendship months later — an issue that was also called out by older sister Dixie D’Amelio. Rae addressed the matter in a lengthy Instagram caption shortly thereafter, clarifying that she hadn’t actually met Charli at the time of liking the comments and had just ended an “extremely toxic and mentally abusive relationship that tore my heart to shreds.” Rumors quickly circulated around social media regarding the TikTokkers’ friendship in wake of the drama — but it doesn’t look like these two stars are falling out any time soon, in spite of the backlash. https://www.instagram.com/p/CBWcDMEHLCu/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link Charli spoke out on the subject in a June 16 interview with the Hollywood Fix, after a reporter questioned the TikTok creator’s apparent beef with her longtime friend Addison. “Once you’re friends, you just stay friends,” D’Amelio said of the matter. “Things happened in the past. No hard feelings from me whatsoever.” Her latest comments follow a tweet she had posted prior to the interview, where she seemingly addressed in unfazed fashion: “Teehee, I’m chillin’.” (Topic begins at 0:45) That wasn’t the only bombshell Charli dropped during her time with the Hollywood Fix, either; the star likewise discussed rumors surrounding her reunion with ex-boyfriend Chase Hudson, admitting that they are merely friends with no romantic connotations, at present. D’Amelio also cleared the air regarding her current relationship with the Hype House, stating that the group are still friends but remain separated on the “business side.” Addison Rae has yet to respond to these comments on their drama at the time of publication.

Charli D’Amelio botches Stranger Things reenactment with Noah Schnapp – Dexerto
Charli D’Amelio botches Stranger Things reenactment with Noah Schnapp Charli D’Amelio, YouTube / NetflixCharli D’Amelio is TikTok’s most popular content creator, due in part to her experience in competitive dance — but her acting skills could use some help, as seen during her collaboration with Stranger Things’ Noah Schnapp. Actor Noah Schnapp is best known for his role as Stranger Things’ Will Byers, who — spoiler alert — was stuck inside the Upside Down during the Netflix show’s first season, later using his connection to the alternate dimension to save the day as the series continued. The 15-year-old star has grown up on camera, and much like D’Amelio, found fame at a very young age, with the two celebrities coming together for a surprise collaboration at the end of March. D’Amelio used her choreography skills to teach Schnapp a few moves, which they broke down in her hometown dance studio. Schnapp returned the favor by giving the TikTok star an acting class, which took a hilariously unexpected turn. For his impromptu session, Noah tasked Charli with recreating a scene from Stranger Things season one, which shows character Joyce Byers losing her wits as she hears Will’s breathing over the phone, desperately hoping her son is alive and safe. “It’s perfect,” Schnapp said of the scene. “What do you mean it’s perfect?” she shot back. “It’s hard!” “You just have to like, cry and freak out,” he explained. “You’re basically talking to me. Just pretend I’m on the other end of the phone.” Considering the high emotional intensity of Winona Ryder’s character, D’Amelio did her best to replicate her fear and desperation — but ended up being a little too over the top, breaking out into laughter after throwing her phone across the room. “I think, soon, we will definitely be casting you on Stranger Things,” Schnapp joked after “wrapping” the scene. “I think you should check your emails, in case you get an email from the director.” (Segment begins at 2:48 for mobile viewers) This isn’t the TikToker superstar’s first stint in the acting world, either; she also admitted to doing a bit of voice acting for a movie during her collab with James Charles. While there’s no telling if the silver screen is in Charli’s future, she’s definitely got some chops, according to Schnapp — but we can’t say if she’ll make an appearance in season four, just yet.

Overall, the reception to Charli’s bleached eyebrows has been positive, with fans commenting on the video that she “slayed” and that the bleached brows “actually look so good.” “NO IT LOOKS SO GOOD IT GIVES YOU KATE MOSS EYES,” wrote one TikToker user. Another commented “girl why did it kinda eat?” However, some were less convinced by the change up, writing on TikTok “What have you done Charli” in response to her new bleached bow debut. Time will tell if the bleached brows do become a staple for Charli and if the influencer decides to make another big change to her look as 2024 plays out.

Charli D’Amelio blasted by fans for posting “insane” Squishmallows collection – Dexerto
Charli D’Amelio blasted by fans for posting “insane” Squishmallows collection Instagram: Charli D’AmelioTikTok queen Charli D’Amelio is no stranger to criticism from her hordes of online fans, but this latest instance of backlash came about for a totally unexpected reason — and it’s all thanks to her stuffed animal collection. Squishmallows are a relatively new line of cute, round and rainbow-colored plushies, which essentially take the basic premise of an animal and transform it into a sort of uber-adorable jelly bean. A quick look at the Squishmallows website shows that quite a few of the brand’s products are currently out of stock, and are priced at anywhere from $12.99 – $20 per toy. That being said, there might be a reason why these cute critters are so hard to come by; some critics are placing the blame on Charli D’Amelio, who currently reigns as the queen of TikTok with over 107 million followers on the viral video app. The reason for this recent outrage against the star came about after she posted a pic of her impressive collection of the plushie brand, which completely surrounded her on all sides. Tongue-in-cheek, the influencer even joked that she wanted to be sponsored by Squishmallows — but it doesn’t seem like many collectors are happy about that possibility. Read More: How to get the TED Talk filter on TikTok – While some might congratulate an avid collector on achieving such a goal, it seems many of her fans are upset with her photo, claiming that Charli could inflate the prices of Squishmallows and make it harder for the average joe to nab one for themselves. View this post on Instagram “Stop, you’re gonna make them raise the prices,” one user wrote. “If y’all thought it was hard to find them before, now we are really screwed,” another commented. “Please god no, don’t make it harder for us,” yet another bemoaned. Charli even received some shock from her fellow creators, with the likes of Madi Monroe and even big sis Dixie D’Amelio expressing disbelief at her sudden interest in the stuffed animal line. Read More: Charli D’Amelio’s dad slams social media – “When you told me you ordered a few, I thought you meant like, five,” Monroe chimed in. “You’re insane!” Dixie commented. The TikToker has yet to respond to the backlash around this surprising incident, which comes on the heels of a previous faux pas after she mistook a Twitter hashtag for singer Charli XCX for one for herself.

Charli D’Amelio backs TikTok star Cora with emotional message after hate comments – Dexerto
Charli D’Amelio backs TikTok star Cora with emotional message after hate comments Instagram: Charli D’Amelio/Cora TilleyTikTok star Charli D’Amelio swooped in to send a message of support to rising TikToker Cora Tilley after she was being hit with hate comments over a few of her videos. As TikTok has gotten bigger and bigger over the last few years, TikTokers have been sharing the ins and out of their lives with fans, covering everything from their daily routines to their relationships. When it comes to their dating lives, some TikTok users are obsessed with certain ‘ships’ and are overjoyed to see a new video from their favorite couple. That can be said for fans of Cora Tilley, a TikToker with close to 1 million followers, who has shared plenty of videos of herself with her boyfriend, Christian. However, not everything has been positive in recent days. With the holidays coming to an end, Tilley’s feed has been full of emotional posts as she and her boyfriend parted ways – with him having to return home. Plenty of fans joined them in being upset, but others mocked the posts too. The TikToker uploaded a post showing some of the comments she’d gotten, with some users claiming the pair were being “too dramatic” and had “milked” their goodbye. That prompted Charli D’Amelio to swoop in with a message of support via a DM. “Saw your video you posted on TikTok about getting a lot of hate and I’ve been there, just wanna let you know I know how hard it is but you have to do your best to ignore it,” she said. “I feel horrible that people are so cruel but you seem a great girl and I would hate to see other people get you, keep your head up please!” In the wake of Charli’s supporting post, Cora noted that taking a break from social media might be the way to go for her. Though, she has continued to post TikToks. She has received plenty of supportive comments about the goings-on as well, but as is the norm with the internet, hate typically comes through louder.

Charli D’Amelio and mom Heidi reportedly joining Dancing with the Stars season 31 Instagram: heididamelioTikTok star Charli D’Amelio and her mom Heidi are reportedly set to compete against each other in season 31 of Dancing with the Stars. 18-year-old Charli D’Amelio is one of TikTok’s biggest stars, and with over 145 million followers, she’s the second biggest account on the entire app. She rose to fame thanks to her viral TikTok dance videos and was a competitive dancer for over ten years before launching her social media career. Now, it looks like Charli could be putting her dance skills to the test, after it was reported that she and her mom Heidi D’Amelio will be competing on season 31 of Dancing with the Stars. The casting was first reported by TMZ and later confirmed by Deadline. The two family members are reportedly set to compete against each other in the Disney+ show that’s due to start streaming in September. The full cast has not yet been announced, but fans will no doubt be tuning in when the show starts to see how Charli and Heidi perform. Judge Derek Hough has previously expressed his wish to see Charli on the show, saying last year: “I think it’d be really cool to see one of the D’Amelio sisters on there. Charli’s a really talented dancer, and she’s obviously crushing it in the TikTok world. I think she would be really good. I think she’d be awesome!” They even went on to perform together as part of Derek and Julianne Hough’s ‘Step Into… The Movies.’ Both Charli and her mom Heidi have a sizeable online presence. Heidi has over two million followers on her Instagram page, and they both starred together in The D’Amelio Show on Hulu, which documented the lives of the busy family behind the scenes.

Charli D’Amelio and Chase Hudson spark dating rumors after public feud – Dexerto
Charli D’Amelio and Chase Hudson spark dating rumors after public feud Instagram: Charli D’Amelio, Chase Hudson[jwplayer ksH6zuKH]TikTok stars and former couple Charli D’Amelio and Chase Hudson kicked off dramageddon earlier this month, after D’Amelio accused her ex-boyfriend of cheating on her; but now, the two have sparked dating rumors in spite of their recent spat. The week of July 6 was rife with drama for TikTok users, with D’Amelio openly accusing Hudson of having cheated on her with influencer Nessa Barrett while they were still dating. Things only escalated further after Hudson published a long list of other top TikTokers’ personal infractions, leading to an all-out war between the Hype House and the Sway House (which was thankfully resolved in-person). However, it seemed that things were truly well and done between Hudson and D’Amelio, with the latter having unfollowed her ex on all social media and shading him on multiple platforms. Although the two seemed to be on good terms in spite of their breakup prior to the drama, it appeared that their amicable relationship was over for good; but now, fans aren’t so sure they’re completely as donion-rings as they’d thought. Dating rumors sparked between the two stars after Hudson posted a photo to his Instagram account after their feud, which was seemingly taken from Charli’s house, making rumors question if they’d been hanging out. That’s not all; Charli herself reposted a photo from Chase to her own Instagram story, further fueling the fire of fan speculation that the two were getting back together. Despite fan hopes, D’Amelio was quick to clarify that her reposting of Chase’s photo was in no way romantic, stating in a comment that she’d merely posted all the photos her friends had posted that day — implying that she and Chase are just friends, and nothing more. This development was later confirmed by Chase in an interview with paparazzi on July 25, where he likewise admitted that, while they were back on good terms, they are just friends. (Sorry chacha shippers!) The rekindling of their friendship follows D’Amelio’s tearful apology to everyone involved in the TikTok drama earlier this month, including Chase, who also published a similar apology video to his fans and Charli. While it doesn’t look like these two will be romantic in the near future, at least fans can rest easy knowing the beef between them has been settled.

Charli D’Amelio and Chase Hudson reveal why they’ve broken up – Dexerto
Charli D’Amelio and Chase Hudson reveal why they’ve broken up YouTube: Alex WarrenTwo of TikTok’s biggest stars, Charli D’Amelio and Chase Hudson, have been in a relationship since 2019, but Lil Huddy has now confirmed that they’ve split, after weeks of rumor and speculation. The pair had been coy about their relationship to start, but soon made it public knowledge on social media, becoming the first TikTok power-couple. There was bound to be drama though, after fellow TikTokker Josh Richards accused Hudson of trying to DM his girlfriend Nessa Barrett, and released a diss track all about it. The diss track sparked controversy, suggesting Chase had been cheating on Charli, but the two remained rather quiet about the whole situation, and Richards said he was “dropping the beef.” Charli’s mom, Heidi, did speak out on the rumors though. But, on April 14, D’Amelio posted to her Instagram story to confirm they had broken up, explaining that they had decided it was “best for both of us.” “I truly have so much love for Chase and wish nothing but the best for him,” D’Amelio said in her story. “I’m sorry I waited so long to tell you all. I wanted to take the time to process it for myself. Breakups are tough for everyone, so I’d really rather not talk about it anymore.” Shortly after Charli’s post, Chase posted on his own Instagram too, to give his side. “Charli is such an amazing person, and I am so beyond grateful and blessed to have spent the time I spent with her. We will always be friends and she will always hold a special place in my heart for the rest of my life,” he said. He too asked for privacy as they “start this new chapter”, and apologized that they waiting so long to tell their fans. It’s clear that the ex-couple prepared and agreed what to say before sending out the joint statement on their accounts, as the message was almost identical in each. There are still many unanswered questions though, that will be burning in the minds of fans. Not least whether the allegations that Chase was unfaithful played any part in their breakup, but also how their relationship will now be in the Hype House together. Both Charli and Chase are two of the leading members of the Hype House, the collaborative content house full of TikTok stars. They have filmed countless TikToks together there, but it looks like there won’t be any more for some time at least. Though, it’s unlikely fans will get answers to these questions any time soon, as both Charli and Chase seem determined to avoid any further discussion or drama around their split.

Charli D’Amelio and Bebe Rexha’s ASMR is the best thing you’ll hear today – Dexerto
Charli D’Amelio and Bebe Rexha’s ASMR is the best thing you’ll hear today YouTube: Charli D’AmelioTikTok queen Charli D’Amelio has hopped on the ASMR trend, and she brought singer Bebe Rexha along with her for a hilarious relaxation session — complete with a few insights into both stars’ lives. [jwplayer ZXB9LNVP] Charli D’Amelio may be known for her catchy choreography, but it looks like the TikTok celebrity is more than just a dancer. Now, she’s delving into the world of ASMR, and brought Bebe Rexha along for the ride. Their ASMR collaboration, uploaded to YouTube on October 23, came just two weeks after Charli’s appearance in Rexha’s ‘Baby I’m Jealous’ music video with Doja Cat, as well as a few other key influencers like Nikita Dragun and Avani Gregg. It looks like the group has gotten close in the days that followed, with Bebe and Charli settling down for snacks in front of a high-sensitivity ASMR mic to talk about their careers and favorite foods. Although plenty of hilariousness ensued, the two dropped quite a few facts for their fans, with Bebe Rexha admitting that she gets anxiety when flying on airplanes. That’s not all; Charli was also asked about the “funnest moment” in her career, which she whittled down to having dinner with her friends or just hanging out with other TikTokers, rather than attending big events as an A-list celeb. “I realize like, this is crazy!” she said. “It’s those little moments where it just like, clicks for a second, and I’m like, ‘Woah, that’s kind of insane.’ Those are the best.” Although Charli’s ASMR series is still in its early stages, Bebe Rexha suggested they go full-on Mukbang for future episodes — a style of video where influencers sit down with a huge spread of food and chow down in front of the camera. It seems that this style of video is rather popular in some online circles, although it still remains to be seen if Charli’s fanbase is up for that kind of content. Nevertheless, her pilot ASMR experience was certainly a fun ride, and we can’t wait to see what’s next for the star in her new journey into the world of relaxation.

Charli D’Amelio and Avani reveal new matching tattoos on TikTok Instagram: AvaniTikTok duo and best friends Charli D’Amelio and Avani Gregg have solidified their friendship for life with matching tattoos, shocking their fans on the app with the new ink. This isn’t the first tattoo for either of the TikTok stars – in fact, Charli actually faced some backlash in 2021 because she got her first tattoo at only age 16, a butterfly on her wrist. Avani too has previous tattoos, but this time, the pair are linking themselves for life with their latest body art – though they haven’t gone for anything too big or bold. Charli and Avani’s matching tattoos Instead, the pair have simply opted for a smiley face – on their pinky finger of all places. As the tattoo is on the inside of the pinky, it won’t be visible all that often, but they were happy to show it off on TikTok together, to the joy and dismay of their fans. Click here if TikTok does not load “HEIDI IS GOING TO BE SCREAMING IN SHOCK,” one of the top comments reads – referring to Charli’s mom, Heidi, who hopefully was already aware of her daughter’s decision. While Avani is 19, Charli is still only 17, meaning typically a parent or guardian would have to give permission for the tattoo. Click here if TikTok does not load In her follow-up video, titled ‘my best friend,’ fans commented about their friendship, and how it will now be tied forever: “Y’all better stay friends now,” one wrote. The pair have been globetrotting recently, attending fashion shows and premiers from Paris to New York, and Avani’s latest post sees her modeling activities continue in Rome, Italy. Charli and Avani have been best of friends for almost as long as they have both been in the TikTok limelight, now with almost 180 million combined followers.

Charli D’Amelio admits she didn’t “physically” write her book – Dexerto
Charli D’Amelio admits she didn’t “physically” write her book Instagram: Charli D’AmelioCharli D’Amelio has admitted she didn’t “physically” write her new book, Essentially Charli: The Ultimate Guide to Keeping It Real, and the revelation sparked mixed reactions among fans. It’s been a massive year for Charli D’Amelio. She branched out and launched some new and exciting endeavors, including a make-up line, a Dunkin’ Donuts drink, and a book called ‘Essentially Charli: The Ultimate Guide to Keeping It Real.’ Surprisingly, the book was a smash hit and became an instant New York Times bestseller. However, some fans weren’t convinced she wrote it herself, and as it turns out, they were right. Charli opened up about the writing process behind the book on Views with David Dobrik and Jason Nash and admitted she didn’t “physically” write it herself. Instead, she relied on the help of a ghostwriter. The conversation started when David Dobrik asked Charli, “If you could be granted one wish, what would it be?” Her answer was different from the one she wrote in her book, which prompted her to explain she wrote it “a full year ago.” After a playful back and forth between the hosts and the D’Amelio sisters, Charli explained how it went down. “I was on a call with [a] woman, so I didn’t actually physically write it,” she said. “I said the words, she wrote it down, and then she put it in book form,” she added. “That’s how it happened. It went on for a few days, and I was just talking, and she would ask me questions.” David Dobrik pointed out that it’s common practice, especially among celebrities. “That’s how everybody writes these books,” he said. “It’s really good because then you can get all your thoughts out, and they just record it, and they write it down.” As David said, there’s nothing wrong with how she wrote it. Celebrities often hire ghostwriters to draft and edit their autobiographies and memoirs. Still, the revelation sparked mixed reactions from fans. Most didn’t think it was a big deal. However, some felt it was dishonest and another case of a celebrity putting their eggs into too many baskets. In the end, though, it doesn’t change the fact that the book’s content is still based on Charli’s thoughts, views, and perspectives, regardless of who physically wrote it.

Charli D’Amelio admits her Dunkin’ collab is “better” than Ice Spice’s – Dexerto
Charli D’Amelio admits her Dunkin’ collab is “better” than Ice Spice’s YouTube; Vanity Fair, Dunkin’Charli D’Amelio admitted that she thinks her Dunkin’ collaboration was “better” than Ice Spice’s collab with the coffee chain. If there’s one thing to know about TikTok star Charli D’Amelio, it’s that she really, really loves Dunkin’ Donuts coffee. The internet icon even partnered with the brand in the past to get her very own drinks on the menu after openly pining for a deal with the company on Twitter/X back in 2019. Considering that she drinks “1-3 of their cold brew coffees a day,” it’s safe to say that Charli is a veritable expert on all things Dunkin’… so when asked for her opinion on rapper Ice Spice’s latest Dunkin’ deal, she had some strong thoughts. Charli D’Amelio doesn’t like Ice Spice’s Dunkin’ drink as much as her own Although it’s been a hot minute since Charli’s last collab with Dunkin’, Ice Spice shook things up in a huge way this September, revealing her own drink with the chain in a hilarious advertisement alongside actor Ben Affleck. Ice Spice’s drink is chock-full of sugary goodness, coming with caramel drizzle and even Dunkin’s ‘Munchkin’ donut holes. It’s more than just a drink — it’s basically a snack, but Charli D’Amelio doesn’t think the bev lives up to her own drink. Charli took a lie detector test with Vanity Fair in late September, where she admitted that she doesn’t think the rapper’s Dunkin’ collab is as good as her own. “Do you think your [Dunkin’] collaboration is better?” Charli’s big sister, Dixie, asked the TikTok star. “Yes,” Charli said. “I’m sorry! Like, I’m a die-hard fan. I really am.” When asked if she’s really as big of a Dunkin’ fan as she claims she is, Charli instantly claimed she “shamelessly promotes them so much” and is actually happy that the chain is doing “cool stuff” with other stars in spite of her feelings on Spice’s Dunkin’ drink. (Topic begins at 10:00) Thus far, it doesn’t look like Ice Spice has had anything to say about Charli’s latest comments — but she did open up on Matty Healy’s viral comments about her during his “little podcast” in an interview just last week.

Charli D’Amelio admits that it’s “difficult” to enjoy TikTok fame with constant hate – Dexerto
Charli D’Amelio admits that it’s “difficult” to enjoy TikTok fame with constant hate YouTube: Dixie D’AmelioCharli D’Amelio may be TikTok’s most-followed content creator, but it isn’t always easy being in the limelight on a social media platform rife with negativity. TikTok boasts a fairly impressive slew of influencers who have risen to the top of celebrity fame. Names like Addison Rae and Dixie D’Amelio have burst onto the scene with their own original music and even appearances on late night shows — but not everyone is happy with this new age of social media stars. While they might be enjoying the fruits of their status, it’s no secret that much of the internet abhors TikTokers for one reason or another (just look at the response to Addison Rae’s segment on the Tonight Show). Charli D’Amelio is one such TikToker. Boasting over 115 million followers on the viral video app, Charli has started her own clothing line with sister Dixie, won a Kid’s Choice Award, and even scored her very own drink at Dunkin’ Donuts. Despite her success, the youngest D’Amelio sister has borne the brunt of the internet’s ire for the past year, with many angry commenters upset that she’s become so famous for her dance videos. On a May 9 episode of Dixie D’Amelio’s Late Night Show, Charli admitted how much the constant negativity on TikTok (and the internet, at large) brings her down despite how much she loves creating videos. “I feel like when you have opportunities that are so amazing, but an entire world of critiques for your every move, it’s very difficult to find enjoyment in things that are being torn down so much,” the influencer said. “It’s extremely difficult to want to continue doing something that people say how much they hate.” (Topic begins at 10:00) That’s not all; the star also spoke on how “overwhelmed” she feels by celebrity life, claiming that she hasn’t exactly found her niche, while her TikTok compatriots move on to other ventures like music and acting. “I don’t want to step on anyone’s toes. I feel like if I were to go in any direction… I would hate to be that person, which is why I feel like I’ve been holding myself back from trying a lot of new things. I also feel extremely overwhelmed with what’s been going on already.” “There’s a lot of stuff that goes on behind the scenes that not everyone gets to see,” she added. “…Everyone kind of already has their thing, and I haven’t found mine yet.”

Charli D’Amelio addresses rumors she bought followers on TikTok – Dexerto
Charli D’Amelio addresses rumors she bought followers on TikTok Charli D’AmelioCharli D’Amelio hit back at rumors that she’s been buying followers on TikTok, claiming she never has, and any suspicious accounts following her are the same bots that everyone else has. Charli D’Amelio made history as the first TikTok influencer to reach 100 million followers. It was supposed to be a cause of celebration. Instead, it led to rumors and accusations that she had been buying followers. People went through her list of followers and noticed many recent ones looked like suspicious blank accounts. Someone also pointed out that her follower count had unusual spikes at the 20-second mark of every minute. It didn’t necessarily prove anything, but it led to some backlash on social media, which soured the moment. The ball was in her court to respond, but she finally did in the latest episode of her podcast, Charli and Dixie: 2 Chix. “Have I ever bought followers for myself or anyone? No, I have not,” said Charli D’Amelio. She also shut down claims that her sister, Dixie D’Amelio, and their friends had done the same.“Has my family? No, they have not. Has anyone that I know? No, they have not.” “Are there bots on the app called TikTok? Indeed. Everyone has bots,” she added. “That’s how the app is run. That’s how the app works. That’s how they make the app look the way it is.” “Can I control that? Absolutely not,” she said. “I have no power. I do not work at TikTok. My father does not work at TikTok either. I know a lot of people think that. He does not. Moral of the story. I do not buy followers.” View this post on Instagram Charli D’Amelio acknowledged that bots on TikTok probably contributed to her numbers to an extent. However, that doesn’t mean she bought them. Plus, it’s not like she’s the only one who has them. Haters and deniers will still have their views, but fans and followers are satisfied with her explanation. Hopefully, now that she’s cleared things up once and for all, she can celebrate her 100 million follower milestone.

Charli D’Amelio addresses claims she ‘made fun’ of Nessa Barrett in TikTok – Dexerto
Charli D’Amelio addresses claims she ‘made fun’ of Nessa Barrett in TikTok Instagram: charlidamelio / nessabarrettTikTok star Charli D’Amelio has responded to claims she was ‘making fun’ of influencer Nessa Barrett in a viral TikTok, explaining she has “no bad blood with anyone.” 17-year-old Charli D’Amelio is currently the most followed account on TikTok, with over 120 million followers to her name. Since 2019, she’s picked up a huge fan base and plenty of career opportunities, like clothing lines, huge brand deals, and more. However, the young star has also come under a heavy amount of criticism online in the past for various different things, including in 2020 when she lost followers over comments she made that some called “ungrateful.” On July 23, she addressed claims that she was mocking Nessa Barrett in a TikTok video in which she pulls various facial expressions and shakes her head. The comments were flooded with people saying she was “making fun” of her, and that “she looks like she’s pretending to be Nessa”, which ultimately prompted Charli to issue a response while on live. “People thought I was making fun of someone in one of Dixie’s posts,” she explained. “And it’s just like, I literally went like duck face, that thing that’s been around since literally 2014. Come on, guys. I swear people are just trying to make rumors at this point.” View this post on Instagram She added: “I have no bad blood with anyone, I’m friends with everyone. I feel like sometimes people try to make it seem like things are what they’re not. It’s not cool guys.” Comments on influencer news page TikTokInsiders were largely in Charli’s favor, with many describing the star as “sweet” and adding that “people hate on her for no reason.” It appears as though Nessa has yet to publicly comment on the situation, but with Charli addressing the claims in full on her live, it looks as though that could have put an end to the situation.

Charli D’Amelio addresses backlash over Squishmallow toy collection – Dexerto
Charli D’Amelio addresses backlash over Squishmallow toy collection Instagram: charlidamelioTikTok star Charli D’Amelio has addressed the backlash she received after posting a picture of her Squishmallow stuffed animal collection, calling the response “extreme” and saying she was just excited to join in. Charli D’Amelio is the most followed person on TikTok to date, with over 100 million followers on the video-sharing app. While she has a huge number of fans, being in the spotlight has also brought a lot of hate her way, even resulting in her losing thousands of thousands of followers after her controversy back in November. Charli and Dixie’s 2 Chix podcast serves as a way for the stars to share their candid thoughts on internet fame, though of late they have found themselves having to address some bizarre backlash, like people claiming Charli was trying to copy Dixie with a music career. At the start of February, the star found criticism coming her way again after she posted a harmless photo of her surrounded by Squishmallows. Squishmallows are an adorable brand of stuffed animal with large, round, and often very colorful creatures, that have become extremely popular recently. View this post on Instagram Many claimed that the TikToker was going to “raise the prices” of the stuffed creatures, as well as increasing the popularity of the brand, and therefore making them sell out. One commenter said, “if y’all thought it was hard to find them before, now we are really screwed.” But in a February 11 episode of the 2 Chix podcast, Charli and Dixie addressed the bizarre backlash, which Dixie herself called, “one of the dumbest things she’s ever heard.” Read More: James Charles confuses fans with bald head – Charli stated that she wanted, “the Squishmallow fandom to see where I’m coming from,” and explained that she was “really excited” to get some of the coveted toys after hearing about them. She revealed that she had so many duplicates because she had bought mystery packs which were the product that could get to her the fastest, and she had planned to give the extras to friends and fans. Topic starts at 1:47 Charli said she even saw some Squishmallow fans saying, “why does she have all the ugly ones,” with the TikTok star disagreeing and saying, “they were so cute.” Read More: How to do a Q&A on TikTok – She hit out at the people who were criticizing her over her collection, saying, “everyone expects me to be this adult all the time, and then when I show my side that’s like, hey, I’m still growing up, I still want to be able to do normal teenager things. And if that’s mini brands or stuffed animals of any sort, that shouldn’t be something that people feel the need to gatekeep.” With all eyes on them, it seems like the D’Amelio sisters can’t catch a break from the criticism, though they still have many fans on their side.

Charli D’Amelio addresses backlash over her appearance at Jake Paul fight – Dexerto
Charli D’Amelio addresses backlash over her appearance at Jake Paul fight Instagram: charlidamelioTikTok star Charli D’Amelio has responded to backlash over her appearance at the Jake Paul vs. Ben Askren Triller fight on April 17, after she and Dixie were asked to present the winners’ belts. Charli D’Amelio remains the most followed creator on TikTok with over 110 million followers on the platform. Her sister Dixie isn’t far behind with over 51 million followers. Thanks to their tremendous popularity, the sisters have been offered a huge range of opportunities. From starting a podcast to appearing in music videos, and partnering with huge brands like Dunkin’ Donuts, the pair have done it all. Due to their partnership with video platform Triller, Charli and Dixie along with fellow TikTok star Avani were invited to the highly anticipated fight between YouTuber Jake Paul and MMA fighter Ben Askren. They were asked to present belts to the winners at the event, but they received a significant amount of backlash from those who felt the TikTokers were out of place at the event. Dixie responded soon after by saying, “I make you so mad, huh?” and referencing the hate on her Instagram story. Now in a new episode of the 2 Chix podcast, Charli has given her side to the situation. She explained that originally the three stars were not supposed to present the belts, but one of the people with Triller asked if that was something they could do. She added that the decision was very last minute, and they only just made it to the ring in time, which is why they were “flustered.” Charli went on to say: “So people obviously did not like that we were at a boxing match in the first place because we are not boxers, I guess, or big boxing fans. Which I think is funny, because like we were invited to go, and we had a job while we were there, so I feel like it makes sense.” However, the star did acknowledge the reason some people were confused by her presence, saying, “obviously to some people that’s not going to be their first thought, so I get it. But like, we were told to do it so we did it. It wasn’t like a, ‘oh we wanna do this,’ we were asked to do it so we held up the belts and everything.” Topic starts at – 12:18 (4:18) Despite the influx of hate, the TikToker did add that she loved the experience of being at the fight. “It was really fun and I wouldn’t go back and change it because people were being mean on social media cause they were going to be mean either way. It didn’t really bother me when they were saying stuff because we were just having so much fun.” Charli has had a busy calendar recently, as she also starred in ex-boyfriend and fellow TikTok star Chase Hudson’s music video for his song ‘America’s Sweetheart,’ with her dance performance getting huge praise from fans. The stars have however confirmed that the video was not an indication they are getting back together, and they remain “just friends.”

Although she began just making dance videos, the young star has launched projects in multiple different industries, including her Social Tourist clothing line with sister Dixie, and the D’Amelio family’s Hulu reality show. Now, some think that Charli could be set to make her acting debut, after an image she posted on Instagram suggested she’s working on a new project. On February 3, the TikToker uploaded a compilation of random images under the caption, “life,” and among them she included an image of a script, with her name written at the top. According to one of the notes attached to the script, the project is called ‘Home School’ and will be directed by Anthony Michael Hall. The notes further revealed that the anticipated start date is June, and she also wrote that she has an acting class with John Kirby at 4pm on Monday. The cast list has been teased with only the first letters of the names shown, and people are already trying to figure out who her fellow performers could possibly be. Many commenters seemed to be largely in favor of the star taking on this new project, with one writing: “I love that she has notes on what she wants to improve on, it shows that she actually cares about doing the job well.” Fans are already excited to see how the project turns out, and will be keeping a keen eye out for any future developments. Charli D’Amelio accused of “copying” Dixie with dramatic new hairstyle – Dexerto
Charli D’Amelio accused of “copying” Dixie with dramatic new hairstyle Instagram: dixiedamelio, charlidamelioTikTok star Charli D’Amelio just made a major change to her dark brown hair — but fans aren’t here for her latest fashion statement, with some accusing her of “copying” her big sis, Dixie. Charli D’Amelio is one of TikTok’s most prominent content creators, who reigned as the site’s most-followed personality for years before being dethroned by Khaby Lame in 2022. Throughout her career as an internet superstar, Charli has remained fairly consistent with her style, always boasting dark, brown hair that she’s worn both long and shoulder-length. However, the TikTok monarch recently made a massive change to her look… and it’s safe to say that fans aren’t liking it. Charli D’Amelio divides fans with shocking new hairstyle On April 16, Charli posted a series of photos to Instagram showing that she’d chopped off her dark locks in favor of a bright blonde bob. She posed wearing a two-piece black outfit at Coachella, showing off a different side to one of TikTok’s favorite influencers that fans hadn’t seen before. Her post is filled with comments from disgruntled fans upset at her latest fashion risk, with some even accusing the TikToker of copying her older sister, Dixie, who famously buzzed her hair short after her breakup with Noah Beck last year. “The old hair was better,” one disgruntled user wrote. “She copied her sister again,” another said. “You just ruined it, tbh,” yet another commented. “No, you don’t suit blonde, sorry,” another advised. Still, others are hoping it was just a wig — a similar sentiment that fans had back when Addison Rae donned a pixie-cut wig for a photoshoot earlier this year. This isn’t the first time Charli has taken a risk with her hair; she also cut her hair short in the past, and has worn different streaks of color in her locks from time to time. For now, it’s unclear if Charli actually took the plunge and dyed her hair or if she’s just wearing a wig… but either way, fans are not here for the star’s latest fashion statement.

Charli D’Amelio accused of buying TikTok followers – Dexerto
Charli D’Amelio accused of buying TikTok followers Instagram: Charli D’AmelioDespite hitting 100 million TikTok followers at the weekend, Charli D’Amelio can’t catch a break. Thousands are now accusing her of buying the numbers. While she was approaching the massive milestone, last week it suddenly looked as though Charli wasn’t going to reach it after all. Charli lost 1 million followers after fans called her “ungrateful” for being such a huge star on the platform. In a video alongside James Charles and her family, Charli jokingly complained that she wasn’t going to hit 100 million within a year of her getting her first million, after which James replied to her “Was 95 million not enough for you?” It resulted in a huge backlash and Charli suffered a wave of negative comments eventually resulting in a teary Instagram live where she addressed the criticism. Charli wasn’t canceled forever though, as she quickly bounced back and hit her goalpost within a matter of days. But some people are suspicious that she has sprung back too quickly, and her comments on TikTok are covered in accusations that she bought the followers. Some have pointed to a video going viral that shows people sifting through the accounts that follow her, noticing that many of her new followers appear to be blank accounts that don’t show that they’re following Charli when you click on who they’re following. Another TikToker noticed that Charli’s follower count had unusual spikes, pointing out that “You can see that it happens every single minute at the 20-second mark…that seems suspicious doesn’t it?” After these TikToks went viral, the top comments on Charli’s recent TikToks all accuse her of buying her followers. In a Christmas-themed video with her family posted yesterday, one comment read “Oh look it’s an Amazon box with followers inside.” For now, it still seems as though the mass unfollowing was merely a bump in the road for TikTok’s Queen. Neither Charli nor her family have responded to the claims.

Charli D’Amelio accused by TikToker Cameron Henderson of “copying” him – Dexerto
Charli D’Amelio accused by TikToker Cameron Henderson of “copying” him Instagram: charlidamelio, cameronjhendersonTikTok comedian Cameron Henderson has become the latest to accuse Charli D’Amelio of “copying” his style for her online success. These are accusations Charli faces on a near-daily basis, so it won’t be anything new for her, who has likely learned to just block out accusations such as these. That said, Henderson — who goes by the name ‘The King of Weird’ — has around 4 million followers on TikTok alone, not including the 3m+ on other platforms, so his accusations have caused a stir. But why is he making these accusations against Charli now? In a now-deleted Instagram post, Henderson uploaded several videos side-by-side, depicting the younger D’Amelio sister dancing alongside videos of him dancing and some of his content. “Wow! This style looks so familiar!” he said, sarcastically mocking the video. “I just want to be very clear this is MY style (before people say I’m copying her). I’m all for trends… but it’s frustrating…” Finally, he called out the “boldness” of creators such as Charli stealing his style, saying that he “understands recreating jokes or dances” but not someone’s whole style, adding that “many of y’alls favorites have done this to me!” View this post on Instagram this famous tiktok user Cameron who’s made popular videos with a certain video format posts something about #charlidamelio using his style?thoughts? It’s not completely clear exactly what Cameron is accusing Charli of copying, whether it’s the dances themselves or the fact that he uses multiple versions of himself in these videos. Regardless, Charli hasn’t responded yet, and given her history of receiving accusations such as these, we’re not sure she ever will. That said, since Henderson is so popular on social media, she might be forced to respond if the accusations pick up any more steam.

Charges filed against thief in $40,000 Valve HQ heist – Dexerto
Charges filed against thief in $40,000 Valve HQ heist Valve / FreepikWhile everyone wants to know what’s cooking in the kitchens of top gaming studios, one man couldn’t wait to find out – and now, he’s paying the price. According to reports from KIRO 7 and GameIndustry.biz, a man from Bellevue, Washington was charged for breaking into Valve’s Lincoln Square headquarters last month, stealing an estimated amount of $40,000 in games. The thief in question? 32-year-old Sean Shaputis, who attempted to sell the stolen goods at a Gamestop in Crossroads, Washington, as shown by video footage provided by local law enforcement. https://www.kiro7.com/news/local/police-man-who-stole-fedex-truck-wanted-for-bellevue-burglary-spree/994821178Shaputis is scheduled to appear in court on Wednesday, October 9, and will face a warrant for his arrest if he fails to show. Thus far, Shaputis boasts six arrest warrants, after being arrested for burglary on June 29 of last year. With this information in mind, Shaputis’ Valve heist wasn’t his first tangle with the law, by far, having stolen a FedEx truck in July 2018. The thief led police on a high-speed chase across Washington’s Interstate 90 in the stolen vehicle, which allegedly began in Bellevue and ended in Seattle, ultimately ending in his arrest. Shaputis’ latest video game escapade saw the thief break out of prison – one of many jailbreaks for the burglar, according to KIRO 7, who failed to elaborate on his escape methods. Charges against Shapitus follow Valve’s significant development for Dota Underlords, a free-to-play strategy game created in wake of the community-created Dota Auto-Chess. Underlords’ development began when the creators of the mod, Drodo Studios, and Valve failed to come to an agreement to co-develop. Underlords is set to exit beta soon. https://underlords.com/Valve’s CS:GO also recently hit a new record high for average players seven years after its release, so it’s clear the developer’s titles are still going strong, despite the intrusion on their Redwood campus.

Bryce Hall brawls with fashion designer over mystery girl at birthday bash – Dexerto
Bryce Hall brawls with fashion designer over mystery girl at birthday bash YouTube: Bryce HallTikTok star Bryce Hall was caught throwing hands at a party yet again after paparazzi shared a video documenting the chaotic encounter. Bryce Hall is the self-described “party animal” of the internet. Much of his content shows the influencer getting into all sorts of shenanigans with his friend group, including such stunts as eating hot wings so spicy they’ve sent people to the hospital, driving a fake police car around LA, and, of course, partying. A lot. Unfortunately, Hall has gotten into quite a few brawls over the years at said parties, including a fight that got him banned from Playlist Live where he picked up his opponent and slammed him down on the pavement. This latest brawl comes in August 2021, during the birthday bash of Bryce’s fellow influencer and friend, JRod. View this post on Instagram A clip of the encounter was shared by paparazzi outlet The Hollywood Fix, which shows Hall and another person surrounded by a crowd of onlookers as Bryce seems to urge his rival to “talk to the hand.” Read More: Addison Rae hits back at Scott Disick for mocking her friendship with Kourtney Kardashian – Things soon get physical and fists fly, with one brave mediator separating the two before things get too real. It doesn’t seem like this peace lasted long, though, as the video switches to another clip from the same party, showing the crowd singing Steam’s ‘Na Na Hey Hey.’ Something happens shortly thereafter, with all the lights in the room turning off and shrieking party-goers streaming outside. Bryce Hall has yet to comment on the situation to clarify exactly what happened, but the Hollywood Fix’s video caption claims the altercation started over a girl. Bryce’s current love life has been decidedly confusing, with many fans speculating that he’s dating TikToker Riley Hubatka, although both parties have denied this rumor. Thus far, it doesn’t look like we’ve got any more info on exactly why the brawl took place — but it does seem like Bryce hinted that the guy might have been trying to fight him for clout, according to a recent tweet. However, an interview with the other fighter has since been released… and they have a different version of events. Bryce’s opponent, fashion designer ‘Pretty Boy Larry,’ stated in an interview with the Hollywood Fix that the brawl had started over a woman, and that he had “no idea” who Bryce even was at the time. “I was talking to a girl,” he explained. “I think she was fine as hell. And then he [Bryce] walks up to me and he’s like, ‘Bro, this is my girl. My girl, my sister.’ So I’m like, ‘Which one is it?’ And he’s like, ‘Don’t worry about it.’ And I’m like okay, and I just ignore him.” Larry went on to claim that the woman in question began to put her Instagram handle in his phone right in front of Bryce. Needless to say, this prompted the Sway House co-founder to get up in Larry’s personal space, urging him to leave, before the altercation in the video took place. For now, it looks like Larry’s side of the story has taken a deep dive into the situation — that is, until Bryce decides to upload a vlog telling us all about it.

Chaos breaks out after Floyd Mayweather vs John Gotti III fight is stopped – Dexerto
Chaos breaks out after Floyd Mayweather vs John Gotti III fight is stopped Floyd ‘Money’ Mayweather’s latest exhibition fight with John Gotti III ended in disaster as chaos ensued in the ring after the fight came to a stop. Since retiring in 2017, boxing legend Floyd ‘Money’ Mayweather has touched gloves with a variety of YouTubers and influencers on his ‘exhibition tour’ — including the likes of Logan Paul and Deji. Continuing on his tour, on June 11, Mayweather returned for his first fight in the US since 2017, where he went blow for blow with Logan Paul. This time around, the 50-0 retired boxer stepped in the ring with John Gotti III — previously an MMA fighter and grandson of the former head of the notorious Gambino crime family. However, the bout ended in disaster, as a brawl broke out in the ring after the fight came to a stop by the decision of the referee. Fight breaks out in boxing ring after Mayweather fight stopped Referee Kenny Bayliss decided to stop the fight with just a minute on the clock left during the sixth round, where Gotti was disqualified for the consistent holding of his opponent. It’s fair to say the disqualification troubled Gotti, who said “f**k you” to Mayweather before putting his gloves back up to guard himself, where he then began to lash out — throwing several punches toward his opponent despite the fight being over. Almost instantly, Mayweather’s entourage began swarming the ring to defend the 50-0 boxer, which in turn prompted a response from Gotti’s corner — who also jumped to their fighter’s defense. Within seconds, dozens were in the boxing ring, including members from both camps, all while security tried their best to separate the two corners. Several fights also broke out throughout the crowd and backstage where police then stepped to clear the arena — threatening charges for anybody who did not leave the venue immediately. Following the scuffle in the ring, Gotti declared that Mayweather is now an “enemy for life.” However, the boxing legend looks to be unphased.

Chantel Jeffries hits back at Sommer Ray in unexpected Twitter feud – Dexerto
Chantel Jeffries hits back at Sommer Ray in unexpected Twitter feud Instagram: Sommer Ray, Chantel JeffriesAmerican DJ and Instagram model Chantel Jeffries may have stirred up some beef with fellow influencer Sommer Ray, after the former made a tweet calling out girls for liking popular adult cartoon series ‘Rick and Morty.’ [jwplayer mgzBNoPb] Yeah, you read that right; apparently, liking Rick and Morty is enough to start Twitter drama — at least in the case of these two internet superstars. Rick and Morty is a popular show among adults, and is often considered by viewers to be as intellectually salient as it is humorous. Unfortunately, Sommer Ray doesn’t seem to be a huge fan of the animated series, as told by her shady Tweet toward its female viewerbase on October 22. “Sorry girls, but liking Rick and Morty isn’t a personality trait,” Ray wrote, a statement that quite a few users viewed as taking issue with women who enjoy the show and consider themselves fans. Needless to say, this sparked quite the debate among her own fans and critics, with many finding her tweet to be needlessly confrontational toward other women, while still others mocked those getting “offended” by her post. sorry girls but liking rick and morty isn’t a personality trait — Sommer Ray (@SommerRay) October 22, 2020 The passive-aggressive tweet soon caught the attention of DJ and YouTuber Chantel Jeffries, who clapped back at Ray’s thinly-veiled shade with a humorous addition of her own. “Sorry girls, but bashing other girls for what they like isn’t a personality trait,” she replied, adding a smiley face with hearts for good measure. Chantel has now racked up more than 4.6 million followers on Instagram, and like most social media stars, takes part in promotional giveaways and ads. Chantel’s latest giveaway asks eager entrants to follow a whopping 71 different accounts, and then comment saying “done.” And if that wasn’t enough to turn people off, Twitter users have complained that they are being harassed by bots in their private DMs, made evident by a number of strange Instagram accounts with zero followers asking them to enter. Channel 5’s Andrew Callaghan spotted recording new video 7 months after sexual assault allegations – Dexerto
Channel 5’s Andrew Callaghan spotted recording new video 7 months after sexual assault allegations INSTAGRAM: andreww.meAndrew Callaghan of Channel 5 news has been spotted conducting and filming interviews. It’s the first time he’s been shown producing content since allegations of sexual misconduct were made against him on January 12, 2023. An image of YouTuber Andrew Callaghan has been shared to the Channel 5 Subreddit that suggests he may be returning to content creation. Since allegations of sexual assault surfaced in January, Callaghan has been on an indefinite hiatus. Shortly after the release of his HBO-produced documentary This Place Rules, multiple women came forward accusing Callaghan of pressuring them for sexual favors. At the time Callaghan called the accusations “devastating” but eventually admitted to a “pattern of behavior” before checking himself into rehab for alcohol. On August 13, almost seven months to the day since he announced his hiatus, Callaghan has been captured during what looks to be the production of new videos. Reddit user unproblematicsoldier posted an image taken from an Instagram story that has since been terminated. The event Callaghan appeared to be reporting on was the National Hobo Convention, held annually in Britt, Iowa. The City of Britt’s website describes the event as one in which “hobos from across the nation come to Britt, Iowa, to celebrate their adventuresome way of life”. Callaghan has a well-documented interest in the underbelly of unseen Americana and the event certainly fits with that. Using Channel 5 as a vehicle, he’s previously covered a number of similar gatherings including the famous Gathering of the Juggalos. The National Hobo Convention has run since the year 1900 and features traditions like a memorial, a 10k walk/run, and the coronation of the Hobo King & Queen. In the image posted to the Subreddit, Callaghan appears to be talking with this year’s Hobo King. Users in the comments had mixed feelings about a potential return from Callaghan with some showing support and others condemning him. “What has he done to earn forgiveness?” one user asked. “All I know he’s done is make a video that addressed that it did indeed happen.” Since the sexual assault allegations and Callaghan’s address to the victims, no formal charges have been brought forward. The journalistic YouTuber has been quiet since his announcement that he would enter into an alcoholics anonymous program. Nothing has been posted to Callaghan’s socials in the intervening months including any planned coverage of the National Hobo Convention. It is currently unknown what his plans for the footage are.

This leads to some interesting and often hilarious interactions. It’s become a popular thing for Twitch streamers to watch and react to, including xQc. In a recent Q&A that featured Andrew, xQc, Pokimane, and more, he revealed how their reactions have influenced his content. The topic came up when the interviewer asked Andrew if he liked seeing xQc watch his content. Andrew responded by looking at xQc and saying, “yeah, I’ve always liked your reactions, so thanks for doing those.” “No, you don’t have to thank me. You make my job so much easier,” laughed xQc. Andrew also explained how xQc and other streamers influence his content. “You guys react fast when it comes out. So, I always know if it’s funny or lukewarm because I watch you guys react to it. I’ll be like, if you laughed at this part, it’s good. If you didn’t, it isn’t.” He admitted that xQc, in particular, is a big help. “I know what you laugh at because you’ve reacted to every one of my videos for a year and a half. So, I watch them, and I’m like, f**k I hope he likes this part.” So, it turns out that the relationship between Andrew and Twitch streamers is a mutually beneficial one, at least according to the host. Andrew’s popularity in the streaming community transcends reactions to his Channel 5 videos, though. Hasan even invited him onto his stream and their reaction to the popular “Island Boy” rap video went viral.

Chance The Rapper Wants Fortnite to Pay Rappers For Using Their Dance Emotes and Music – Dexerto
Chance The Rapper Wants Fortnite to Pay Rappers For Using Their Dance Emotes and Music Popular music artist Chance The Rapper is not happy with Fortnite’s use of popular dances as in-game emotes. The three-time Grammy Award winner took to social media to express his displeasure, calling on Epic Games to not only credit the rappers that came up with the dances, but to also include their music in the game. There are currently several emotes in Fortnite that contain parts of dances that were originally created by hip-hop artists and rappers, such as the “Shoot” dance made by BlocBoy JT, moves from Snoop Dogg’s “Drop It Like It’s Hot” video, and the “Milly Rock” by 2Milly. However, these artists are not crediting in the game, and the music that plays in the backdrop when players do these dances are not the original songs, but rather different samples of audio. Chance feels that the tremendous amounts of revenue that Fortnite generates by selling these emotes should be shared by those that originally came up with them. Fortnite should put the actual rap songs behind the dances that make so much money as Emotes. Black creatives created and popularized these dances but never monetized them. Imagine the money people are spending on these Emotes being shared with the artists that made them — Chance The Rapper (@chancetherapper) July 13, 2018 He also feels that the emotes would be greatly improved if the original song was played during the dance, which would obviously also earn the artists more recognition and money. I also would just rather watch them dance to a real song lol — Chance The Rapper (@chancetherapper) July 13, 2018 I would love to be able to buy Hype and also be purchasing Look Alive or buy “Swipe” and be buying it from both @FortniteGame AND 2Milly https://t.co/eUgKksJzIY — Chance The Rapper (@chancetherapper) July 13, 2018 BlocBoy JB also tweeted out about the matter and is in agreement with what his fellow rapper had proposed. Wat You Said We Need Dat Cash @FortniteGame @EAMaddenNFL https://t.co/hFRH0Db1Mx — BlocBoy JB (@BlocBoy_JB) July 13, 2018 While many understood where Chance was coming from, there was also some negative reactions from those who felt that the use of the phrase “black creatives” was unnecessary, as it injected a racial aspect to the debate. Among those who replied to Chance were YouTuber ‘OMGItsBirdman’ and OpTic Gaming content creator ‘Hitch.’ They aren’t just taking dances from black people moron lmfaooo just thought you had something https://t.co/dMTyIy5yah — Anthony (@OMGItsBirdman) July 13, 2018 backpack kid, orange justice kid, electro shuffle girl. i get where you are coming from but it doesn’t have to be a race thing — davis. (@OpTicHitch) July 13, 2018 It remains to be seen whether Epic Games will do anything to appease these music artists, or whether it will even reply or offer a reaction. Since the creators of these dances never monetized or copyrighted them, Epic could just choose to not include the original music and continue to do what they’ve been doing, which has proved to be financially fruitful.

Chance the Rapper mocks “nerdy” esports in League of Legends SNL sketch – Dexerto
Chance the Rapper mocks “nerdy” esports in League of Legends SNL sketch Popular Hip-hop artist “Chance the Rapper” featured in a Saturday Night Live’s skit on October 26 which saw him acting as a League of Legends esports reporter. Since the release of the popular battle royale Fortnite, esports and gaming has been seen breaking into the mainstream culture more and more often with stars such as Bugha getting the chance to appear on shows such as Jimmy Fallon. With Worlds 2019 currently underway, the hit comedy TV show, Saturday Night Live, decided to highlight aspects of the final event of the year in a skit which included Chance the Rapper as the tournament’s esports reporter. Chance’s character was clueless about League of Legends esports. The skit marks Chance the Rapper’s second appearance on SNL, returning once again to play as the clueless basketball reporter, Lazlo Holmes, filling in for other sports on the network. Saturday Night Live’s comedic parody saw the popular rapper attempting to break down some of the gameplay during the esports tournament’s post-game analysis segment in hilarious fashion. The other cast members who appeared as analysts in the skit began referencing some of the details of the match that could be difficult to understand for non-gamers, while Chance simply stood there confused, sarcastically pretending to go along with it. Chance’s character, Lazlo, took many jabs at the esports tournament initially, mocking many of those involved in the event, however, as with many he seemed to be blown away after realizing just how popular some of the professional players were amongst fans. The segment saw many references to Riot’s popular MOBA and included a shoutout to a fictional player named “DoublePump” which was likely done as a nod to the Team Liquid star Yiliang ‘Doublelift’ Peng. “Laz you’re going to like this,” said one of the desk analysts, before reading the fictional pro’s post, “Echo’s Captain DoublePump just tweeted – Congrats Shadow Gaming, can I borrow some XP?” Esports has been featured in a number of TV shows in the past, such as the iconic animated sitcom, The Simpsons, even devoting an episode to the competitive gaming community. There will be more TV shows for League of Legends fans to look forward to after it was revealed that CBS greenlighted a new esports comedy series which is set to be produced by Rick Fox.

Chance the Rapper allows Twitch streamer to play his music in exchange for custom PC – Dexerto
Chance the Rapper allows Twitch streamer to play his music in exchange for custom PC Instagram, @ChanceTheRapper / Twitter, @KristoferYeeIn order to bypass Twitch’s DMCA rules, streamer Kristofer Yee, who builds custom PCs, contacted Chance the Rapper to secure permissions to play his music — and the rapper seems very interested. Chance the Rapper has a list full of awards and nominations (including four Grammy nods) and a whopping 8.2 million Twitter followers. As an independent artist, the incredibly popular performer is also capable of dictating who is allowed to use his music and who is not. On the flip side, Yee has amassed quite the reputation building luxurious —often exuberant— custom PCs and keyboards, much of the time while streaming live on Twitch. He’s got over 190,000 followers on the platform, as well as nearly 100,000 more on Twitter. Possibly thinking of his audience’s ears, Yee decided he ought to try reaching out to one his favorite artists to try and get permissions. Twitch DMCA violations are a controversial issue and getting a Chance co-sign would help bypass any problems. Fortunately, upon reaching out on Twitter, it seems that Chance is interested in making something happen. Those making inquiries can take a page out of Yee’s book, as he showed perfect form in hitting Chance with a request. Greeting the artist with a casual, but polite “hey,” he proceeded to compliment him and indicate his intentions: “I love your music and want to play it on my stream.” That’s a quality move that any father would be happy to see, as movie tropes dictate, that all hopeful boyfriends must confidently tell their girlfriend’s dad what their intentions are. But Yee continued in clean fashion. “I build custom high-end PCs on Twitch. Can we work something out?” While Yee’s Twitter banner mentions “budget building,” he’s sure to mention “high-end” instead. That’s a quality play when talking to a multimillionaire. Having made PCs for high-profile streamers like Lily Pichu, Yee isn’t lying when he says he makes some deluxe computers. And, possibly out of a love for streamers, possibly out of appreciation for Yee’s approach — or possibly due to a blend of both — Chance seems interested. The Grammy-nominated rapper simply responded with a succinct: “For sure!” Now, their conversation moves to the DMs and fans wait to find out just what kind of custom PC might be enough to secure rights to play your favorite musician’s discography on stream.

Champions League streaker Kinsey Wolanski suspended on Instagram after going viral Screengrab via YouTubeKinsley Wolanski, the woman who streaked during the UEFA Champions League final between Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur appears to have been suspended by Instagram after being hacked. Wolanski, who is the girlfriend of popular YouTuber prankster Vitaly Zdorovetskiy made international headlines on June 1 after breaking through security at the Champions League final in Madrid, Spain and getting on to the pitch. Wearing a black, high-cut one-piece swimsuit, she ran into the center-circle and disrupted the early goings of the match. Even though broadcasters usually cut away from pitch invaders, Wolanski managed to get in direct view of the cameras and show off her ‘Vitaly Uncensored’ advertisement before being removed from the stadium by security. 600As a result of the stunt, which was pulled off in front of over 60,000 fans at the game and a worldwide audience of millions, Wolanski had seen her social media following grow exponentially. It is not clear exactly when the account was taken down by the platform as it was still live during the early parts of June 2. 600Wolanski took to Twitter to explain that the account had been taken down after she was hacked. Unfortunately for her legion of new followers, she did not reveal if she was in contact with Instagram about getting the account unsuspended. The YouTuber took a seat amongst the sea of English fans and watched on, proudly, as his girlfriend replicated his stunt from the 2014 World Cup finals. Chael Sonnen claims fighters are ducking Jake Paul as he’s “most feared” boxer – Dexerto
Chael Sonnen claims fighters are ducking Jake Paul as he’s “most feared” boxer Instagram: Jake PaulFormer UFC star Chael Sonnen doubled down on his belief that Jake Paul is the “most feared man in boxing,” and explained why that’s reportedly led to him taking on Tommy Fury. While he may not have dedicated his whole life to the sweet science, Jake Paul has comfortably asserted himself within the world of boxing – both as a competitor in the ring and a promoter outside of it. The YouTuber-turned-boxer is returning to action in August, reportedly against long-time rival Tommy Fury, even though he claimed he had no interest in rearranging that matchup after their last scheduled fight was called off at the last minute. While a few fighters have registered their interest in fighting Jake, all signs now point to him and Tommy finally settling their beef. That, according to Chael Sonnen, is a result of Jake being the “most feared man in boxing” right now. The former UFC star, who has regularly praised Jake and his brother Logan, discussed the reported matchup in his June 8 video, where he once again gave Jake the tag of being feared by other boxers. “Is it just a case that there’s nobody else willing to do it? That’s how I feel,” Sonnen said about Jake seemingly having to fight Tommy rather than someone else. “Jake Paul is the most feared man in boxing. There is nobody in boxing with a meaningful record or any kind of name reputation that has called him out, and they’re hoping they don’t get their phone to ring. They don’t want that.” The MMA analyst noted that fighting Jake would give most boxers “everything that they’ve ever dreamed about” when it comes to interest and pay, but “they don’t want it.” Timestamp of 1:20 When it comes to the fight with Tommy actually happening though, Sonnen says that the audience will have to make their own minds up on that front, given the Fury camp were the ones who pulled out last time. As of now, the fight hasn’t been confirmed and it’s still a game of wait and see. Though, there is plenty of interest in it.

CEO Jack reveals how much money he gets offered for his Twitter handle – Dexerto
CEO Jack reveals how much money he gets offered for his Twitter handle 100 ThievesTwitter founder Jack Dorsey boasts a simple “@jack” as his username on the platform, and on an episode of the CouRage and Nadeshot Show, he revealed just how much money he’s been offered to hand it over. One thing new Twitter users have to think long and hard about is what name they’ll be going by on the platform. This goes for any social media app, but it’s especially an issue there since the platform been around for over a decade. By now, almost all of the cool usernames are taken, so new users pretty much have no other choice but to accept their second or even third choice of name. Dorsey didn’t have this problem, as he was able to secure the simple and easy remember name of “@jack,” right at the beginning of Twitter’s life. During his appearance on The CouRage and Nadeshot Show, he was asked how much money people have offered him for this handle. He explained that it doesn’t happen a whole lot on Twitter, but on Instagram, where he has the same handle, it’s floated more often. “I don’t think that’s ever happened,” he said in response to whether somebody has offered an exorbitant amount of money for his handle. “I have @jack on Instagram, though and people have offered, not, well, they haven’t offered that much money. They’ve offered $100 or $1000 and what-not, but that’s consistent. I get requests all the time. Everyday.” (Quote begins at 14:30) Of course, there’s next to no chance he’d ever give up either handle, so all of these offers are seemingly for nothing. But, even for a man as rich as Dorsey is, there’s bound to be an offer that he can’t refuse. It’s hard to say what that offer would be for a man with a net worth estimated to be north of 5 billion, but we’d guess it’s somewhere in the range of a billion dollars or more for his Instagram name. As for his Twitter handle? That one seems like it’ll be untouchable.

Censor’s “I want a baby” prank on girlfriend backfires in hilarious way – Dexerto
Censor’s “I want a baby” prank on girlfriend backfires in hilarious way Call of Duty pro Doug “Censor” Martin is back in the esports game – but that isn’t stopping him from making content with girlfriend Marylin, who he decided to prank in a scheme that went hilariously wrong. After finally announcing their relationship in late July, the couple hasn’t been shy about collaborating for YouTube videos, with Marylin pulling practical jokes on her boyfriend for their audience. In fact, she even pretended to break up with him over the release of Modern Warfare – a “really nasty prank” that Censor got revenge on with his own brutal scheme. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AnBEfSAXRZg&t=66s To get back at Marylin for her fake-breakup, Martin decided to convince her that he wanted a baby “right now,” taking “days” to plan the setup and even Tweeting out a subliminal message to his girlfriend. “I’m not gonna hold back,” Censor explained. “I’m gonna be a savage about this. I’m gonna try to convince her on every single level… I’m just gonna do everything to convince this girl that we need to have a baby right now.” As it turns out, the CoD pro’s practical joke didn’t go over so well with his amore, with Marylin expressing understandable concern about having a child without any consent on her part. “… I’m contemplating what the f*** I’m doing,” she argued. “Am I gonna get my Master’s? Am I gonna pursue my dreams and become an actress? …this is not the time for me to be popping out a kid.” “You’re going to be a housewife for the rest of your life, babe, what are you talking about?” Censor rebutted. “You deserve a f***ing slap in the face for that,” Marylin retorted. Censor went on to claim that he’d called his lawyer to take care of their marriage before finally admitting it was all a prank: a joke that he felt “so bad” about making. Despite their “argument,” the couple made up shortly thereafter – but this wouldn’t be the first time that they’ve pranked each other about future children. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-QV7Jg2djrM&t=21s In fact, Marylin convinced Martin that she was pregnant during a video in late September, to which he had a surprisingly wholesome reaction. Although the two continue to play pranks on each other, it doesn’t look like they’re planning for kids anytime soon – something that Censor himself claimed he isn’t ready for, just yet.

Censor Responds to Being Roasted by TMZ Over Breakup With Yanet Doug ‘Censor’ Martin has garnered a massive amount of mainstream attention following his breakup with Yanet Garcia in order to focus on his professional Call of Duty career. The news made its way across various mainstream outlets after Censor announced the breakup via a YouTube video, with the veteran Call of Duty professional players receiving a myriad of negative press and attention. You know, I’m used to it. Guys, I took a big hit, I took a lot of L’s […] I took a hit in terms of reputation. A lot of people just came at me and roasted me. Censor unveiled his relationship with girlfriend Marylin on July 21, explaining that he’d kept her out of the limelight for an entire year due wanting to keep their romance private. “The last thing I want to do in terms of a relationship is bring a camera around with me and vlog what I’m doing,” Censor admitted. “That wouldn’t make our relationship work.” The two have since uploaded a slew of videos together, with Censor surprising his lady love with lavish gifts, working out, and even letting Marylin shave his head bald – but that wasn’t the end of their content, by far. Marylin decided to take their videos a step further with one of the oldest pranks in the book – by spooking her boyfriend with a fake pregnancy test, sneakily setting up the camera just outside the kitchen to capture his reaction. 600She began her “confession” by explaining that she’d been nauseous for several days, finally “admitting” she was pregnant by showing him the false test and even apologizing for the “pregnancy.” “Why are you sorry?” Censor asked. “It’s my fault. I’m the one who did it, right? …you’re acting really weird right now and I think that’s amazing. We have the means, we can do it. I just wanna make sure I’m being supportive, you know? So whatever you wanna do, I’m here for you.” Censor’s wholesome reaction follows a similar pregnancy prank from YouTube star Tana Mongeau, who sent her then-fiance Jake Paul into tears with her fake “announcement” in late July. “Fuck everyone else, like for real,” Paul said of Tana’s “concerns” that fans would think they were merely getting married due to her “pregnancy.” “This is between us. Fuck what anyone thinks. We did something, and now we have to take responsibility for it.” Despite his status as a controversial figure, Paul’s heartwarming reaction moved much of Mongeau’s fanbase: and considering Censor’s equally heartstring-tugging response, its safe to say that the future generation might be in good hands. (Maybe.)

Censor hits back at rumors of alleged steroid abuse – Dexerto
Censor hits back at rumors of alleged steroid abuse Censor, InstagramFormer Call of Duty pro Doug ‘Censor’ Martin has spoken out about speculation surrounding his gains, specifically calling out rumors accusing him of taking steroids. Censor addressed these claims in a YouTube video on November 25, referencing a slew of comments on his Instagram photos that insinuated he had injected himself with steroids to achieve his physique. “That. Juice. Must. Taste. Real. Good. Right. Dougie,” one commenter wrote. “…I’ve been following his journey for some time now, and as someone who personally has done multiple cycles, I know when someone is running gear or not,” said another. Censor hit back at these comments, claiming he is “100% natural” – even giving his audience a gunshow to prove his point. “I’m 100% natural, and always have been,” he stated. “You guys could all obtain this physique, as well.” Censor went on to cite “hard work” and consistency as his secrets to success, and referenced his seven years of working out as proof of his natural form. “I’ve been doing this for seven years… if I ever did take steroids, I would be an absolute unit,” he continued. “You guys would see it. I’d be bench pressing 550 pounds or something like that.” Censor had similarly addressed this scrutiny during a previous video, where he showcased his full diet for a regular day in hopes that it would quell the suspicion. While he continues to battle rumors of steroid use, he encouraged his audience to begin their own fitness journey, and looks forward to “being an absolute unit” in his later years.

It happened during a Modern Warfare 2 broadcast on Twitch, where he started having a war of words with a teammate. Just days later, he slipped up again with a racial slur on stream. Just six days later, on October 23, Martin was hit with a ban on Twitch. Censor has responded to Joe Rogan over his Yanet Garcia breakup roast Professional Call of Duty player Doug ‘Censor’ Martin has reacted to the segment discussing his breakup with Yanet Garcia that took place on The Joe Rogan Experience. Rogan was joined by former MMA fighter Brendan Schaub when the pair began discussing Martin’s ex-girlfriend and internet star, Yanet Garcia. In a video uploaded to his YouTube channel, Censor seemed to be shocked but amused by the comments, with Rogan stating that there “must be something wrong with his brain” when discussing the fact that Censor ended his relationship with Garcia to focus on his professional Call of Duty career. “I didn’t know it was going to be that funny,” Martin laughed. “I actually found that hilarious. I really like how they talked about both sides, they see it from both angles.” The former compLexity player continued: “It’s not as bad as I thought it was going to be, I thought he was going to roast me pretty hard. Maybe people were just gassing it up, but people like to exaggerate things.” Censor admitted that he is not a regular listener of the podcast, but said he can see why “the Call of Duty community is always talking about it,” and praised Rogan for the success he has had with the podcast and his other business ventures. During the video, Censor also gave some insight into his future in Call of Duty after being released from his former organization, compLexity. While Censor didn’t announce his new teammates, he did tease that an official announcement could be on it’s way and seemed confident that the potential new team would be serious title contenders.

Censor explains why his Instagram account was “randomly” deleted – Dexerto
Censor explains why his Instagram account was “randomly” deleted Call of Duty pro and content creator Doug “Censor” Martin has revealed the backstory behind the sudden disappearance of his Instagram account, which mysteriously went offline on January 1. The noted YouTuber, streamer, and New York Subliners substitute announced that his account had been deleted via Twitter on January 3, appearing to be completely perplexed as to why it had “randomly” gone offline. While he had the full use of his other social media outlets, no word was given as to the reason for his Instagram’s deletion until the next day. On January 4, Censor uploaded a video explaining the scenario, claiming that he never received an email or notification from the platform concerning the matter. However, it doesn’t look like Censor broke the site’s Terms of Service: instead, it seems that his account went offline due to changing his account name to @Censor, after parting ways with esports giant FaZe Clan in October 2018. “I thought it was the weirdest thing,” he explained. “I changed my name on Instagram to @Censor. The OG @Censor. It took me five years. I finally got the name.” According to the CoD pro, Instagram effectively “merged” his old account with his new one, and when the process was complete, deleted his account altogether — but he’s hopeful that the page will return on Monday, January 6. “They take the account ‘@Censor,’ which is the account that I had, and they download all of my followers onto the account, and then they merge that account with my new account,” he continued. “…I’m assuming that the account got processed, and because of that, it got deleted.” My instagram account is GONE pic.twitter.com/AsJSWhIJ6Q — Doug Censor Martin (@Censor) January 4, 2020 The star went on to ask for help from other verified account holders on the platform, as he claimed the process might be limited to verified personalities. For now, fans will have to wait for his regular workout videos — but the good news is that his account will hopefully be up and running very soon (with the original name, at that).

Censor explains why Call of Duty won’t “get in the way” of his latest relationship – Dexerto
Censor explains why Call of Duty won’t “get in the way” of his latest relationship Censor, YouTubeFormer Call of Duty pro and current content creator Doug ‘Censor’ Martin infamously broke things off with the “world’s sexiest weather girl” Yanet Garcia in summer 2018, opting to focus on esports full-time – and now, he’s finally opened up about his latest relationship, but some fans are worried about his romantic prospects. While Censor later quit competitive gaming to focus on avenues like YouTube and Twitch streaming, his love for Call of Duty spurred him to split with Garcia in 2018, leading to international outrage and incredulity at his life choices – but he wasn’t lonely for long. Censor opened up about his newest relationship in late July, finally revealing his girlfriend Marylin to the world after a year of keeping their romance away from social media. Although many fans were overjoyed by his announcement, some expressed concern that Martin’s latest relationship would end in the same way as his previous romance with Garcia – prompting a Tweet from the former esports pro officially addressing the matter. “Just don’t choose the game over your girlfriend this time lmao,” a fan wrote. “I’m crazy in love and have a deep understanding with Marilyn,” Censor replied. “I’ll never let CoD get in the way from her.” I’m crazy in love and have a deep understanding with Marilyn. I’ll never let COD get in the way from her :skin-tone-2: https://t.co/6uyMG6eA0X — FaZe Censor (@Censor) July 25, 2019 Despite Martin’s claims that he isn’t letting esports take precedence over his relationship, fans aren’t convinced that his dating life will last, with critics poking fun at his last romantic debacle. “Two years watch, when a bombass CoD comes out, ‘So I broke up with Marilyn for CoD,’” one user wrote of the matter. “In before, ‘Why I chose esports over my girlfriend,’” another said. 2 years watch when a bombass cod comes out “so I broke up with Marilyn for cod” — Me Me (@MeMe43839976) July 25, 2019 Although Censor initially claimed that his split with Garcia was borne from wanting to pursue Call of Duty, he later admitted that the two had fought over money, with Garcia allegedly asking for a cut of his YouTube revenue due to appearing in his videos and thumbnails. Censor even stated that he was “glad” he prioritized gaming over pursuing relationships earlier in his life, urging fans to follow their dreams over trying to get laid. 600https://www.instagram.com/p/B0OqwoVHpYs/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_linkWhile Censor appears to be relatively happy with his long-term relationship, fans will need a bit more convincing before they take his latest romance seriously in light of his breakup with Garcia last year.

Censor claims his house nearly burned down, car hit by dumpster truck Recently retired Call of Duty pro Doug ‘Censor’ Martin revealed that he was part of a motor vehicle accident with a dumpster truck, as posted in a Tweet on November 2. The Tweet also claimed that his house had nearly burned down, which he said that he would later expound upon during a vlog he uploaded over the incident on November 3. Censor stated that his car was hit after returning from his bench press session with friend David Laid. He claimed that he’d gone to a restaurant in New York to meet up with some friends following the workout, during which he was paranoid that his car would be hit due to its parking position near the street. So in the last 24 hours my car got hit by a dumpster truck and my house nearly burnt down. — FaZe Censor (@Censor) November 2, 2018 Being unable to find his keys, Censor later walked out to his car, where two construction workers told him that a dumpster truck had hit the vehicle while he was inside and drove away. Censor then showed the damage to his car, which appeared to be minimal: the truck had bent his driver’s-side rear view mirror and punctured his front right tire, which he has replaced with a spare in the interim. This accident follows a string of odd occurrences around Censor’s home. On October 24, the YouTuber claimed that a series of dead birds had been showing up around his house, and even shared footage of two unknown individuals trespassing on his property. While Censor has yet to explain the circumstances of his alleged house fire, its safe to say that Censor is experiencing an odd string of bad luck.

Censor claims friction over money was the reason behind splitting with Yanet Garcia – Dexerto
Censor claims friction over money was the reason behind splitting with Yanet Garcia Recently-retired Call of Duty pro Doug ‘Censor’ Martin has come forward to explain his breakup with weathercaster Yanet Garcia, which he stated was due in part to conflicts over money. According to Censor, his breakup with Yanet stemmed from its roots in social media, taking a turn when Yanet began to request a percentage of his income from his YouTube vlogs. Read More: Alissa Violet confirms allegations of mental abuse against Jake Paul, claims they were never really dating – Censor admitted that he wasn’t comfortable with her proposition and decided to support her in other ways, although he understood her position on the matter. He then expressed that he’d wanted to buy her a car. While she was excited about this development, she wasn’t as happy that he’d wanted to vlog the experience, feeling as though he wanted to capitalize off of every aspect of their relationship. In addition, Censor claimed that she had given him ultimatums about who he could be friends with, and would get upset when would do things without her. He felt as though he and Yanet’s large presence on social media took a massive toll on their relationship, as well. “It was an amazing story,” he stated. “She’s a really cool girl, but I can’t deal with that everyday if I want to do this [YouTube] as my job.” The internet has been throwing a lot of flack his way for breaking up with the newscaster to pursue competitive Call of Duty, which he recently retired from to focus on full-time content creation. However, it looks like there was more to the story than his passion for Call of Duty.

Censor catches two people sneaking onto his property in security footage – Dexerto
Censor catches two people sneaking onto his property in security footage Recently retired Call of Duty pro Doug ‘Censor’ Martin may have an explanation for the mysterious instances occurring around his home, thanks to footage taken by his security cameras. Censor played a clip of the footage during a video on October 25, which showed two individuals walking onto Censor’s property. The individuals in question appeared to be an older Caucasian man and a woman of color wearing a dark sweater, who approached Censor’s front door before passing out of sight. Censor was understandably spooked by the incident, and even thought that the woman could have broken into his garage while he was away. “It looks like she went right inside of my garage, which really freaks me out,” he admitted. Censor then claimed that he would be looking for a new home in his next vlog. The footage follows a string of incidents that Censor detailed in a vlog on October 24. According to Censor, he’d found a dead bird with its eyes gouged out on his front step, alongside the sudden appearance of a ghost decoration in a tree in his front yard. Additionally, Censor claimed that his dog had brought him a slew of dead birds, and that an eagle had crashed into his bedroom window during a previous live stream. While the eagle incident goes unexplained, Censor might have the answer to the spooky madness happening around his home. He has yet to file a police report in response to the trespassers.

Censor brings girlfriend to tears with incredible dream car surprise – Dexerto
Censor brings girlfriend to tears with incredible dream car surprise Instagram: FaZe CensorCall of Duty pro surprised her by buying her dream car. While Censor may be best known for his competitive career as a professional gamer, he has also created a thriving YouTube channel, where he regularly uploads videos and vlogs to give his fans an inside look at his life. In his latest upload, the 24-year-old brought his audience on an adventure as he went out to surprise his girlfriend Marilyn by purchasing the car of her dreams for her, and surprising her with it. 600Censor’s purchase was a two-door 2015 Jeep Wrangler, although the process of getting his hands on it was made even harder by the previous owner, who the FaZe Clan member described as “difficult to work with,” and only managed to secure the jeep on his third attempt at buying it. Censor tweeted out that he was going to see the car, knowing Marilyn would see his tweet, but told her that the deal had fell through, when he was actually hiding it at his mom’s house. After showing off the car, the time had finally come to surprise Marilyn, with Censor parking the Wrangler on his driveway, and placing a massive red bow on top of the bonnet. The CoD pro picked his girlfriend up from an anime convention she was attending with her cousin, and asked her to film him driving home as he pretended to promote his stream. Finally, the pair got home, with Censor handing a stunned Marilyn the key for the Jeep, while she stared open-mouth at her new vehicle. “Are you serious?” shouted his tearful girlfriend. “Why would you get me a car! Oh my god! This is so freaking awesome! This is insane, thank you so much! You don’t just get people cars, you’re not David Dobrik. This is so freaking nice!” Marilyn still couldn’t understand why Censor got her the car, who simply explained that he was so in love with her, that he just wanted to get her whatever she wanted. So romantic!

Censor and girlfriend ask fans to stop mentioning Yanet Garcia – Dexerto
Censor and girlfriend ask fans to stop mentioning Yanet Garcia Instagram: censor, iamyanetgarciaFormer Call of Duty pro Doug ‘Censor’ Martin and his girlfriend have asked fans to stop bringing up his ex-girlfriend Yanet Garcia during a YouTube Q&A. Censor had a very public relationship with Garcia, who was a weather girl in Mexico when the two first got together, and an even more public split. In 2018, after three years together, Censor and Yanet went their separate ways to focus on their careers, with the former FaZe Clan member setting his sights on winning a Call of Duty World Championship. That wasn’t to be, though, and fans haven’t let him or his current girlfriend forget. Although Censor has been with Marilyn for two years now, they frequently get messages and comments under their posts talking about Yanet, and clearly the ongoing mentions have got to them as they addressed the issue in a new YouTube video. While doing a Q&A session for fans, they decided to talk about one question in particular: “Who does it better, Marilyn or Yanet?” Doug and Marilyn then laid out the issue for their fans and viewers. “Marilyn is my partner and I love her, and it’s not fair for her to come into the social media world and just get slammed all the time,” Censor explained, with Marilyn adding that the comments make her “so uncomfortable.” Topic starts at 3:09 Marilyn went on to call comments about Yanet “the biggest buzzkill,” adding that she “can’t do anything, can’t post anything” and that she was worried about “expressing her culture” for a while as she also happens to be Latina. Censor finishes up by saying that he believes the two haven’t produced that much content together is because they receive questions and responses about Yanet every time, but now after two years they feel like it has to stop. Naturally, issues such as these come with the territory, but that doesn’t make it right to make people in relationships feel uncomfortable about old partners. Hopefully this will help Doug and Marilyn turn a new leaf and slow down some of the awkward questions and comments they have to face.

Celina Powell spills the tea on explosive Jeffree Star ‘blackmail’ – Dexerto
Celina Powell spills the tea on explosive Jeffree Star ‘blackmail’ Instagram: Jeffree Star/Celina PowellAndre Marhold/Instagram star Celina Powell has weighed in on Jeffree Star’s drama with ex-boyfriend Andre Marhold in a dramatic Instagram live with her friend Jasmine. Although Jeffree Star seemed determined to move on from the Marhold drama in his YouTube return earlier this month – wherein he confirmed that his ex was getting prosecuted for ‘robbing’ him – Celina Powell has added another twist in the tale after making a string of dramatic revelations in her Instagram live. Claiming she had a conversation with Marhold about Star, Powell said the makeup mogul has nineteen cameras in the house, that the ex-boyfriend “wasn’t even gay” and that he was “only there to have fun in his [Star’s] pool”. He also apparently claimed that Star was the one who robbed him, not the other way round. But that’s not all; calling up her friend, who is only identified as Jasmine, the two also claimed that Andre said the relationship “was all for publicity”, and that he even planned to “blackmail” the YouTuber. Read More: How to turn off DMs on TikTok – Recalling that Marhold also asked her about NDAs, Celina said she told Marhold that “Jeffree can’t do sh*t” and encouraged him to spill the tea. This led to Marhold to allegedly make a string of other claims, including Star being a “hater”, disliking fellow beauty YouTuber Nikita Dragun and, echoing accusations from fans in the past, being a “racist”. AND NOW FOR SOMETHING TOTALLY UNEXPECTED: Jeffree Star’s ex-boyfriend Andre Marhold exposed by Celina Powell for trying to blackmail Jeffree. Andre told Celina Powell he was allegedly paid to date Jeffree for publicity, adding Jeffree hates Nikita Dragun and beauty community. pic.twitter.com/a9S07lbJWU — Def Noodles (@defnoodles) October 24, 2020 She then went on to say that she convinced Marhold to fly to Miami in order to help him “expose” Jeffree before turning the tables on him, saying that she went to Star with this information and telling him “this is the scumbags you have in your life”. In response, Star relayed her the messages that Marhold had sent him, which includes “thirsty” comments like, “I just want to show you that I appreciate you with all my heart”. “How can you say you don’t care about this man when you do?” Powell asked. She ended the IG Live by calling Marhold a “f*cking liar”, saying that “everything he says is a lie”. Both Star and his ex-boyfriend are yet to speak publicly about this latest development in the saga that’s followed their falling out.
