Celebrity and TikTok influencer deepfakes flood Twitter despite rules Souvik Banerjee/UnsplashDeepfakes of celebrities and influencers are circulating on Twitter – despite their policies against misleading media and non-consensual nudity. Twitter is one of the few social media platforms that does allow adult content to be posted, as long as everyone involved consent. But with the rise of AI, the line between what’s real and what’s not has become harder to see. With the rise of AI, celebrity deepfakes have become more common. A deepfake is a manipulated video or image where a person’s face is superimposed on someone else’s body. This has become an especially big problem on Twitter, which has yet to ban this certain type of content. Twitter floods with deepfakes of female influencers Female TikTok creators has become a prominent deepfake target. Twitter searches for TikTok creators such as Addison Rae, Easterling, Charli D’Amelio and Bella Poarch revealing several explicit deepfakes, despite the ban on the platform, NBC News revealed. With both Twitch and TikTok having recently banned all forms of deepfakes on their platforms, Twitter has decided to only implement two rules regarding the issue. The platform explicitly bans “images or videos that superimpose or otherwise digitally manipulate an individual’s face onto another person’s nude body” under its nonconsensual nudity policy. The policy states that Twitter may need to hear from the individual targeted by a deepfake or their representative before taking action. Twitter’s synthetic and manipulated media policy also applies to deepfakes and depends on the manner, context and implications of the media.

CDawgVA takes down Ludwig in surprise ‘slapboxing’ match at Chessboxing event – Dexerto
CDawgVA takes down Ludwig in surprise ‘slapboxing’ match at Chessboxing event YouTube: LudwigAfter the Disguised Toast vs PointCrow Chessboxing match up, host Ludwig Ahgren surprised the audience with a slapfighting match against challenger Connor ‘CDawgVA’ Colquhoun, who confidently stated “it’s time to embarrass you at your own event.” And he did just that. The final match at Ludwig’s hit Chessboxing Championship — or so fans thought — featured Jeremy ‘Disguised Toast’ Wang against Eric ‘PointCrow’ Morino in an intense match, where the former eventually won by checkmating his opponent. But after the match finished, and the audience prepared for the event’s conclusion, Eric ‘PointCrow’ Morino called out Ludwig for not participating in his own event. “Yeah yeah, why didn’t you fight?” Crow asked the host. “I would I would, but…” Ludwig stutters, following up with a long list of excuses. “I haven’t trained boxing, plus I’m tired and…” the host’s excuses are cut off by Jeremy ‘Jerma953’ Elbertso, one of the main commentators for the event. “Wait wait wait, hold on a second. Don’t you think Ludwig should probably fight tonight?” the commentator asked the audience, which was followed up by shouts of support. “I don’t know how to box, they don’t know how to box,” Ludwig states, resisting the idea. “Oh you don’t have to box at all, you can do something completely different!” Jerma instantly replies, before heading into the audience to find a worthy contestant to fight against Ludwig. He walks up to CDawgVA, who has his hand nonchalantly in the air. “I think it’s time to embarrass you at your own event,” he states, challenging Ludwig to the first ever slap-chess match. After final match of the night begins, and the two trade blows, Ludwig explains the rules: “The way this works, we have four rounds of slapping and four rounds of chess.” Judging from the explanation of the rules and the fact that they had a sponsor for the slap table already prepared (CashApp), it’s clear Ludwig already knew about the finale and was really just putting on a show for the audience. After an intense match, Jerma announced the victor: “And the winner… CDWAG!” “Thank you for purchasing this belt, so I can own it,” CDwagVA states in the beginning of his victory speech. However the Welshman also took time to highlight what really mattered on the night: “Shout out to Ludwig for making the best event yet!”

CDawgVA signs exclusive Twitch deal to continue livestreams on the platform – Dexerto
CDawgVA signs exclusive Twitch deal to continue livestreams on the platform Twitch: CDawgVATwitch has secured an exclusive streaming contract with Connor “CDawgVA” Colquhoun amidst a streaming platform battle against YouTube and Kick. It seems the streaming wars have been raging again in the past few months. As Kick tantalizes Twitch streamers with its lucrative revenue split of 95-5, and YouTube courts more of Twitch’s darling streamers, the battles are only heating up in 2023. But now Twitch has struck back by securing an exclusive streaming contract with one of the biggest Anime influencers on YouTube, CDawgVA. This deal pertains solely to livestreaming content, meaning we’ll still get the regular influx of YouTube content moving forward. Connor is best known for his YouTube channel where he had his start as an aspiring voice actor who regularly made videos about anime. He would eventually land a contract with GeeXPLus to move to Japan in an effort to introduce Otaku culture to a wider world. He would go on to co-host a podcast, Trash Taste, with fellow anime YouTubers Gigguk and The Anime Man. Connor is well known for his many IRL streams where he explores Japan, but also gaming streams where he’d play with other Japanese VTubers. And he has famously collaborated with some of the biggest names on Twitch and YouTube. Such as Ludwig, Ironmouse, and a whole host of Hololive and Nijisanji VTubers. Garnering a lot of influence in the Japanese/English livestreaming space. His YouTube channel as well, a place where he frequently uploads videos of him experiencing the oddities of Japanese culture garners a lot of views, has a very loyal fanbase that has stuck by him. It seems Twitch’s contract with Connor is part of a bid to secure some of their biggest names from leaving the platform as news comes out of some of its biggest stars switching to either the burgeoning Kick or YouTube.

CDawgVA responds to criticism for having Pokimane on TrashTaste podcast: “we don’t care” – Dexerto
CDawgVA responds to criticism for having Pokimane on TrashTaste podcast: “we don’t care” Instagram: CDawgVA, Twitch: PokimaneTwitch streamer CDawgVA has responded to growing backlash from fans following Pokimane’s appearance on the Trash Taste podcast. Connor ‘CDawgVA’ Colquhoun is a Welsh Twitch streamer and voice actor, currently residing in Tokyo. Having begun his YouTube channel back in 2014, CDawgVA regularly hosts the Trash Taste podcast with features an array of popular guests from the world of streaming. Hosted alongside fellow YouTuber’s Joey Bizinger and Garnt Maneetapho, the podcast has seen the likes of Michael Reeves, Ludwig Ahgren, and recently Imane ‘Pokimane’ Anys. Shortly after Pokimane’s appearance on CDawgVA’s podcast, the streamer responded to criticism for involving her on the show. CDawgVA shuts down Pokimane podcast backlash: “I don’t really care” During his September 12 Twitch livestream, CDawgVA fielded questions from his fans, one of which asked “can you talk about the subreddit drama?” The streamer didn’t hesitate to answer, explaining that: “I don’t really care. Sometimes the subreddit just gets like that. They just get in their own head and they work themselves up over nothing.” “And Trash Taste, we just film with the guests that we wanna film and we don’t really care. We know that not every guest is gonna be like or wanted by the community,” continued CDawgVA. “It’s just how it’s gonna be. If we had every guest on that everyone liked…it would just be an echo chamber. I think we like having some people on even if they’re ‘controversial’.” CDawgVA said it is easier to “just have a conversation with people” too, which is another factor in their guest selection decisions. Fans were critical of Pokimane’s appearance on the podcast as CDawgVA and his hosts normally highlight growing creators in the world of anime, gaming, and the arts. Due to Pokimane’s considerably large following and status, many listeners such as Redditor falloutboy9993 hope CDawgVA will consider this in the future. “I hope they bring on more of the smaller creators. Relatively unknowns that are in the anime, gaming, culture, movie, and art industries. I think people get tired of seeing the same big names everywhere on YouTube and Twitch, ” said the Redditor. Another Redditor, Mildly_OCD was more forgiving of Pokimane’s appearance: “I think Poki has her fair share of legitimate criticism, but I’m not gonna be mad at her or the boys being on the podcast.”

CDawgVA raises over $329k for charity through live auction event – Dexerto
CDawgVA raises over $329k for charity through live auction event Twitter: OFFBRAND_StudioTwitch streamer CDawgVA has raised over $329,000 for charity following the success of his Live Auction event. Plenty of the biggest streamers out there hold events to raise money for charity organizations. In the past, streamers like Ludwig, Hasan, and Asmongold have set up massive streams and events all to raise money for charity. Among those streamers is nonother than CDawgVA, who’s embarked on a handful of successful charity stream endeavors, such as his Cyclethon IRL streams, which have raised over well over $850,000 total. Now, the Twitch streamer has completed yet another successful charity stream event, this time through a Live Auction which sold items donated by influencers, ultimately raising over $329,000 for the Immune Deficiency Foundation and $14,000 for Make-A-Wish America. CDawgVA completes massively successful live charity auction The event began on June 29, 2023, and was broadcasted live on CDawgVA’s Twitch channel. The stream lasted nearly five hours and was mainly centered around a live auction, where content creators and members of the livestream chat could bid for a catalog of items submitted by other creators. The auction featured around 38 different items from influencers, VTubers, and content creators from both Twitch and YouTube. The auction lot included items like a painting from PewDiePie, a 1-on-1 hangout with IronMouse, and much more. CDawgVA hosted the auction himself, which featured a live audience of influencers including Hasan, Valkyrae, Ludwig, PointCrow, and many others. The stream also featured interstitial videos from various creators who had items up for sale. At one point, the streamer even had his legs waxed and took the stage in a maid costume for the final act of the event. When the 5-hour long stream ended, the content creator and company had helped raise a total of $329,401 for the IDF. Considering CDawgVA claimed in an interview with Dexerto earlier this year that he had a goal of raising “at least a million dollars a year” for charity through his live streams, this Live Auction is just another massive step in making that dream a reality.

CDawgVA raises $552k for charity with 900km bike ride in second iteration of Cyclethon – Dexerto
CDawgVA raises $552k for charity with 900km bike ride in second iteration of Cyclethon Twitter: CdawgVATwitch streamer CDawgVA has once again raised a staggering amount of money for charity in his second iteration of the Cyclethon, all done in a 900 km bike ride across Japan. Streamers and YouTubers have long used their platform and status to raise money for good, with megastars like MrBeast and Ludwig regularly doing so. Connor “CDawgVA” Colquhounhas done it again, with an insanely lengthy bike ride to boot. Riding roughly 100 km everyday for 9 days, totalling to nearly 900 km, Connor raised a staggering $552,533 for the Immune Deficiency Foundation in the second iteration of the Cyclethon. The initial goal for Cyclethon 2.0 was $500k, and it was promptly broken on day 9 while he was in the middle of the day’s bike ride. The content creator celebrating the achievement by shouting at the top of his lungs, in the middle of a quaint suburb. Saying in his tweet, “this honestly was really physically demanding on us and pushed us to our limits, but we did it and raised a s*** ton of money for IDF.” But of course, CDawgVA was not alone in his epic bike ride. His fellow streamers and YouTubers, Chris “AbroadinJapan” Broad and PremierTwo accompanied him cycling every other day. VTuber superstar Ironmouse also cheered on CDawgVA during her streams. CDawgVA charity bike ride around Japan raises over 500k The bike ride started in Fukuoka, and ended at Kitakyushu. But instead of taking the straight route between each city, he decided to cycle the entire perimeter of the Kyushu Island. And the moment he reached his final destination, Connor immediately fell onto the ground. Funnily enough, they decided to celebrate the end of the Cyclethon in a McDonalds of all places. And it was in the McDonalds, where they got his order wrong, Connor broke $550k. A donator, by the name of C U M, donated the remaining $3000 needed to break the goal. Which they all immediately celebrated C U M’s amazing contribution. Dubbing it The Legend of C U M. Needless to say, CDawgVA has once again smashed another charity goal, all done with another trip around Japan. CDawgVA opens up about his journey from niche YouTuber to superstar Twitch streamer – Dexerto
CDawgVA opens up about his journey from niche YouTuber to superstar Twitch streamer CDawgVA/Twitch/YouTubeAfter his long journey from being a YouTuber to one of the biggest streamers on Twitch, CDawgVA is convinced that live streaming is “the way forward” for content creation. Recently signing an exclusivity deal with Twitch, CDawgVA spoke about why he’s sticking with the platform in an interview with Dexerto. Before he decided to start live streaming regularly, Connor ‘CDawgVA‘ Colquhoun turned his passion for voice acting into a small yet dedicated YouTube following. Seven years ago, he was dubbing over Black Butler episodes and sharing his journey toward becoming a professional voice actor. Now, he’s raising hundreds of thousands of dollars for charity and making his mark as a massive content creator on multiple platforms. Not only that, but he seems to be friends with damn near everyone. On top of being a part of Trash Taste, one of the biggest podcasts on YouTube, he’s collaborated with creators like Ludwig, Hasan Piker, and has become a welcomed guest in the Vtubing community. He never shies away from the opportunity to put himself out there and work with new creators. In our almost hour-long discussion about the current state of content creation, he provided some insight on the constantly evolving worlds of both YouTube and Twitch, pondered what he’ll do if he ever decides to move on to a different career path, spoke about his exclusivity deal with Twitch and why he’s signed, and the wild ride that has been his path to international stardom. CDawgVA’s YouTube content has changed with the times With how long he’s been in the space, CDawgVA’s content has, in a lot of ways, grown up with YouTube. His channel started because of his passion for voice acting and creating content, and the way he expresses that passion has changed over the years. “When I was making the anime stuff, that was something I was genuinely passionate about at the time. Obviously, as I’ve gotten older, I’ve kind of fallen out of anime.” “I started doing that when I was 19. I was very much still in my weeb phase. It got to the point where I was making these videos, and the only videos that did well were the anime videos. And I just wasn’t really feeling it anymore.” “When I would talk to other creators that were outside of anime, it was really hard to explain what I was doing. I was like, ‘Yeah, so I do this anime impression stuff— it’s lame, it’s lame.’ But I was really passionate about it. I think that I just wanted to push myself more creatively. And so, changing that up was really important for me and really allowed me to feel more creatively satisfied.” He started to use his talent for voice acting in a variety of forms. Connor would pose as popular anime characters and make prank calls or call fans. His content remained focused on voice acting but applied in different ways. This led to him reviewing voice acting for different shows and movies, and in the case that the acting wasn’t too great, he’d take a crack at fixing it. He was using the same skillset but applying it in different ways. Connor spoke at length about having to “play the game” of content creation. Especially with how much the landscape of content creation has changed over the past few years. “I think there’s definitely a difference in approach that people who have maybe been around longer or maybe started on YouTube or came from Vine or something, there’s a whole different approach to it. One of the main reasons is because, a lot of the time, when the older content creators got into it, you never expected to make money.” “Now it’s so overstimulated with money. Every video is, ‘I spent this!’ I mean, I’m guilty of this, too. You have to play the game. Everything is about upping the stakes. Whereas I feel like before, it was kind of like, ‘Hey, if you like something and you wanna make cool videos about something, just do that.’ What it means to be a content creator has kind of shifted.” Connor’s definitely been using the recent trend to his advantage, with videos like his recent “$1000 Crane Game Challenge” series being wildly successful on his main channel. These videos have given him the opportunity to collaborate with creators like Ludwig and Disguised Toast and show off his chemistry with other creators. But getting to the point where he felt comfortable producing content outside of his niche took some time. “It was really risky and super scary. You start uploading these videos that are different from what you’re making, and people just don’t watch them. But you have to have faith that what you’re making is good and that there will be an audience for it. You can’t expect your audience to always convert no matter what you’re doing. You’re going to lose people, and you’re going to have to gain people.” “As long as you’re ok with that mindset of like, ‘Hey, I’m trying something new, it’s probably not going to work out, but there might be some people who give it a shot.’ And hopefully, along the way, I can gain new people like I did with my older content and change the audience up with it.” “I’d like to think, throughout my entire YouTube career, that I’ve kind of – and I think this is something I think a lot of creators don’t think about, if I’m making stuff that’s maybe geared towards teenagers, how do you then grow as a creator but also grow with your audience, in a sense? So that maybe someone who watched you when they were 16 can also enjoy watching you when they’re 22? That’s also satisfying for you because you get to grow with your content, which I find is very important.” Dating back to a few years ago, Connor started to brand out and try new content that was adjacent with current trends like buying cheap products and cosplays off of Wish. While this content didn’t perform as well at first, it gradually began to outshine much of his voice-acting content and gave CDawgVA more confidence in posting different kinds of videos to his channel. All that said, it’s hard to quantify what it means for something to do well or be a good video. Is a video that has 2 million views good? Or does being happy with a video determine it to be good no matter how many views it gets? The answer is ultimately subjective. Every creator is different. Connor spoke about how he’s toed the line of creating content he’s passionate about alongside content he knows will do well with his audience. “You know as a creator what is best for you. Or, hopefully, you do. For me personally, as much as I’m able to sometimes turn off and grind and just make videos or make content while I’m in a dry spell where I don’t have much creativity or ideas I’m passionate about— like, sometimes you just have to turn your brain off and just focus on getting out good stuff that hits the beats. And it’s good. But sometimes you get this feeling where content doesn’t inspire anything in you anymore.” “Like, you’re making something – maybe it’s great, and people would still watch it, but it’s not satisfying for you to make. And even more so when it gets to the point where you don’t want to make it. That’s when it gets dangerous as a creator, forcing yourself to make something you have absolutely no interest in making.” “What I’ve learned continuously through doing this is that you can’t expect people to care about you or care about what you’re making. But you need to figure out how to gain the trust of your audience to have faith in you as a content creator to make stuff that’s entertaining.” So, CDawgVA banked on having the trust of his audience and chased a new venture: Trash Taste. The Trash Taste era The Trash Taste podcast exploded in popularity within the first few episodes, and through weekly content, live stream events, and Trash Taste specials that threw the boys into wild adventures together, CDawgVA, Gigguk (a.k.a. Garnt), and TheAnimeMan (a.k.a. Joey) have created a content empire that exists alongside all of their separate YouTube/Twitch ventures. We asked Connor about what he thinks made Trash Taste so successful, and he admitted he wasn’t too sure himself. “That’s the question everyone wants to know the answer to; I want to know the answer to it, too. I think Trash Taste was a mix of a lot of little factors that were really pushed by the pandemic. I think Trash Taste would have done pretty well, but I think the pandemic and the time that it came out really put it in front of way more people than it would have been normally. “ “Who’s to say where it would be if the pandemic didn’t happen and whatnot, but I think it kind of hit at the perfect time when people couldn’t hang out, and it filled that sort of void where I think a lot of podcasts weren’t going; We’re not trying to talk about anime, we’re not trying to talk about some sensational topic, we are literally going to talk about the worst food takes we have. That’s just the show.” Garnt has somehow topped “All bread tastes the same” with “I don’t think Chinese food exists,” truly a legend in the podcast space. Joking aside, it’s clear why fans are invested in these three. There doesn’t need to be big drama going on or a big guest on the show for them to create content that starts a conversation. For example, Garnt actually had some good points with his Chinese food take in the full context of the above clip, but the wording in his initial delivery of takes like these is so great/awful that it creates viral content. That’s just part of the charm that earned Trash Taste such a massive following, even after they’ve tossed any conception that the show would have the same focus on anime that all of their main channels had for years prior. There was enough otaku culture in there for fans to feel welcome, but enough new content to welcome new viewers as well. “It’s literally just a conversation between three friends produced better and hopefully flows a bit better than conversations you’d have with your friends. There’s a void of podcasts that hit that, that had good production, that kind of explored otaku culture in a way we hadn’t really had before, that kind of involved anime in a light way. And then we had this really strong marketing push that was that initial figure special. It was kind of this perfect amalgamation of stuff.” But CDawgVA hasn’t been afraid to step out of the Trash Taste space and push his own content further. He spoke about maintaining a functional, healthy work/life relationship between the three of them and compared their show’s appeal to that of Top Gear. “We obviously are very close, but it’s very much like Top Gear. We have a lot of comparisons to Top Gear, and we really look up to the lot. And in Top Gear, they didn’t always hang out all the time. I think that’s really healthy and necessary.” “Like, as much as we hang out and do so much work stuff – I’m literally heading to the office after this interview – we also have our own individual friends as well. I think that’s kind of a healthy way to maintain a business and also a friendship. Like, you need more than two friends. You have to have other interactions and have healthy relationships with a lot of people, I think. That makes for improved mental health. Relying on two or three people for everything is kind of tough.” “Everyone asks, ‘How do we do it?’ I don’t know. I think the most important thing is that we were really good friends before we started it. We were genuinely good friends and just so happened to be YouTubers.” Connor could have rested on his laurels, stuck to YouTube, and banked on the success of Trash Taste while uploading his own original videos here and there. But he hasn’t. Instead, Connor has become one of the biggest streamers on Twitch. CDawgVA thinks live streaming is the “way forward” for content creation Up until recently, CDawgVA was more of a YouTuber than a streamer. Streaming was something he’d do here and there, but he still had a heavy focus on video content. That’s now changed, with the creator being able to swing an exclusivity contract on Twitch. He regularly pulls tens of thousands of viewers and has managed to raise hundreds of thousands of dollars for charity through livestream events. We asked Connor about his philanthropy efforts and have split that off into a separate article where he revealed he aims to raise “at least a million dollars a year for charity.” But how did he get into streaming, and what motivated him to spend so much of his time on live streams rather than the pre-recorded videos he’d been doing for years? “I just really enjoy the live aspect of the content. I’ve found that it allows little moments that would almost certainly be cut out of the edit for a video to come out in a more organic way when it’s live. Cause it’s kind of more embarrassing when it’s in a video. You’re like, ‘Ah, just cut it.’ But when it’s live, it’s like – those moments that are kind of boring, kind of embarrassing, you have to reimagine how you view it.” “I think live content is just… right now, it feels like the way forward for content creation. I feel like that’s where it’s at just because the live aspect adds so much to it.” “I can’t really put my finger on exactly what it does, but it’s how I envision live sports compared to highlights. Like, yeah, you could watch the highlights and save so much more time, but there’s something about things happening in real time that adds something to it. People wanna be there. They wanna be in the thick of it.” As for why he’s chosen Twitch to sign with for exclusivity rights, he touched on what Twitch offers creators that other platforms don’t have. With YouTube investing massively in getting more live streamers on the platform and Kick standing out from the crowd with a heavy cut of sub revenue going to creators, it’s more important than ever for Twitch to stay competitive within the live streaming market. “Twitch offers a lot of great tools that are really helpful right now. The easy clipping system, all the moderation tools, the way chat’s presented, all that stuff. Obviously, there’s nothing stopping someone from replicating that, but it’s all combined with the culture in a way that I think allows streamers to immediately get invested in this cozy atmosphere you have on Twitch. To me… I dunno. I’d be impressed if anyone could come close to it. I really like it. I mean, that’s why I signed with Twitch.” CDawgVA has also managed to turn his Twitch streams into a steady output of YouTube content. His second channel, ConnorDawg, is close to a million subs already, and it’s almost solely comprised of videos edited from his livestream highlights. He’s essentially created a content pipeline that allows him to focus on his livestream content and then turn that into edited YouTube videos for those who aren’t around when he goes live. Rather than trying to produce everything himself, he’s got an entire team built around editing his content. He employs several people who work full-time on things like graphic design, editing, creating art assets for him, and other production-related stuff. Mudan, an editor he’s been working with for a while, has an entire team working under him as well. According to Connor, the efforts of this editing team play a huge role in the success of his main channel and the way his livestream content is packaged for his second channel. “I work with Mudan, and Mudan has a lot of editors working for him. Mudan and I are very open about it: We have a deal where we split ad rev 50/50 of that channel (ConnorDawg). We started the channel off, and he was definitely losing money cause he was editing videos that got 20-50k views, but we were confident that it would get to the point where it’d be quite profitable. He delegates editors and works with them, helping the channel grow.” Considering recent ConnorDawg uploads average over 500k views, this deal has certainly paid off for both parties. “I’ve always said this: There are a lot of YouTubers out there and not a lot of good editors. It’s very important that you treat editors right and that they’re paid well, that you make sure that their job is so secure that they never have to consider working somewhere else or having to pick up more work. If you’re a YouTuber who’s pulling in really good money, you should share that with the people who got you there.” As much as Connor has done his best to employ a fleet of editors who can get his content YouTube-ready, there also exists an armada of fan channels. Literal dozens of channels exist that are dedicated almost solely to uploading short highlights from Connor’s stream. This is fairly common for those who have mainly live streamed content (Hasan Piker, for example), and we asked Connor how he feels about clip channels. “There are some [clip channels] who I think do a more honest job of representing the content and what happened. Those people are providing a pretty good service that I can’t do, right? I can’t have someone stare at my content, wait for something to happen, and upload it. I mean, I probably could, but it’d be a massive amount of resources to invest in something like that.” “But there’s obviously a demand from the viewers to have these kinds of clips. They serve a purpose, and they offer these sort of real-time moments that are entertaining to people on YouTube. Which, for clips, has a great algorithm for sharing them. Whereas Twitch is more focused on sharing clips to other platforms.” “As much as people may get annoyed about it or maybe just aren’t a fan of what clip channels are doing, they’re pushing your content and your name out there in a way that you almost can’t. If someone were to clickbait something extremely egregious, I couldn’t do that. Like, even if I was paying someone [to make clips], maybe the clip would get 10x the views if someone else did it. Which is almost a weird thing of like… That’s messed up. But also, I guess you kind of pushed my content out there in a weird way? It’s a double-edged sword, but the benefits almost always outweigh the negatives, and it’s sort of its own ecosystem.” Looking up CDawgVA in the YouTube search bar provides some strange results. From people really wanting to see him fall off his bike during the Cyclethon to those who are invested in his on-stream shenanigans with IronMouse, there are tons of channels out there that compete with each other to upload the most memorable on-stream moments with a clickbait-y title to hit the top of search results. All while these clips are monetized by the people who uploaded them, not by Connor himself. Those who hang around his stream to make money rather than doing it as a gesture of affection as a fan have caused issues in the past. “If they do go too far, you can set a boundary and put your foot down. In the past, I’ve had to full-on just ask someone to stop uploading clips due to the way they were clipping, and they were harassing my moderators and my chat. They’d come into the chat and go, ‘How long are you streaming for? I gotta know how many hours I need to be here.’ Or, ‘Are you gonna end soon? Can you end soon please?’ Like, what?” “And then that’s kind of frustrating because they’re actively making these misrepresentations of the content and harassing people while also profiting off of my content. I’ve always said to people that I don’t mind people uploading clips, just don’t upload full-on highlights. That’s the kind of stuff that we do.” “It’d be kind of a shame for someone to watch a highlight, and it’s not edited as well as, say, my editor would do it. Because now you’ve watched it, and now you can’t really enjoy it in a much more entertaining way, in my opinion. It’s a necessary evil. You need it, but sometimes you don’t want it, and it’s a force that works on its own.” As if his massive presence on YouTube and Twitch wasn’t enough, CDawgVA’s been branching out into the world of live performance. Between going on tour with Trash Taste and getting into the Chess Boxing Ring with Ludwig, he’s had to develop a whole new skillset as an entertainer on stage. Connor steals the show wherever he goes Connor has particopated in a myriad of live shows recently, but the biggest one is undoubtedly Chess Boxing. His getting into the ring with Ludwig produced one of the best live stream moments of 2022. According to CDawgVA, taking opportunities as they came to him has been a massive part of his continued success within the space. “Being a creator, so many opportunities come your way. It’s so important to take advantage of those really crucial opportunities, and you never know which one it’s gonna be. But you always have to stay open-minded and jump on opportunities when they appear. “That’s especially one thing I think I’ve been pretty good at is just, when an opportunity comes up that seems kind of unusual but could be a game-changing experience for you, it’s really crucial you jump on that as a creator.” As live events hosterd by content creators continue to grow, the number of no-shows does also. This was fully displayed guring the 2023 Streamer Awards, and event that was palgued with last-minute cancellations. But Connor stepping up to take the place of xQc when he was a no-show at Ludwig’s Chess boxing event has paid off in spades. “I’d befriended Ludwig before that, but being able to turn up? A lot of creators can’t do that. You’ll hear a lot about how unreliable creators are, and we are unreliable a lot of the time. But when you say you’re available for something and you can turn up to it, people knowing that you’re reliable is really important when it comes to being asked back for opportunities.” “It’s literally like acting and voice acting as well. If you’re a reliable voice actor who always turns up on time, nails the lines, and doesn’t cause a fuss, you’ll get way more roles from directors, right? It’s less apparent, but it’s very much there.” “You have to be able to show up on the day. Chess boxing was one of those where Ludwig didn’t have xQc, and he was like, ‘Dude, we need someone,’ and I was like, ‘Dude, you know I’m good for it. I’ll go up on stage and put on a show.’ That’s something I’m comfortable doing.” And put on a show he did. Connor’s victory over Ludwig was hard-fought and came down to literal milliseconds. A fitting end to one of the most hype livestream events in recent memory. More eyes on Connor has allowed him to interact with even more creators in the space, something he genuinely enjoys doing. Though he admitted that having new guests on stream can be risky sometimes, he’s not afraid to take that leap and trusts that he’ll be able to get along with other creators. “I think collabing is very important for streamers. Some streamers don’t need to do it and don’t want to do it, which is totally valid and makes complete sense. But I’m just a very social person. I really like interacting with creators. Especially creators people wouldn’t expect me to interact with. I just really enjoy the collaborative aspect.” “You never really know what someone’s gonna bring on stream until they’re on there. Some people, they just switch it up, or they’re way different than you expected. It could end bad, right? But I love mixing it up, and I have my friends I love hanging out with, especially on stream. I just have people I really enjoy hanging out with.” “I think living in Japan also adds this other layer to it where people want to come here, and they want the familiarity of having someone to kind of guide them, and that’s often what I end up doing a lot of the time. Like, ‘Hey, yeah, man! You’re in Japan? Let’s check out this place.’ It’s a different vibe being here.” Creators flock to Japan and bring their viewers with them on their adventures. Having someone like Connor along for the ride who knows Japanese and can help people navigate can add a ton to the on-stream experience for other creators. “I’ve always had a really easy time talking to people, and I think I’m easy to talk to in general. I was never really intimidated by the thought and never worried too much. It was like, ‘Alright, this guy seems cool.’ Maybe we made a connection at one point in time. Maybe there’s an idea that comes up that’s just perfect for that creator, and it’s always really fun to do with them.” Not to mention, Connor’s also been on the road with the Trash Taste crew to put on their very own live show. Though there’s a pay-per-view taping of the show out there along with plans to soon release one of the live show tapings free for everyone, people who attended were specifically asked not to film. For a moment, these YouTubers, who typically pull hundreds of thousands of viewers, sat in front of an audience made up of a few hundred fans. It was a more intimate experience and a very new venture for creators who got their start filming videos in their rooms. And, in some ways, the small, in-person crowd was just as intimidating as having 15k live viewers on Twitch. “I think when you’re streaming, you’re presenting yourself in an authentic way. Buuut there’s a little bit of performance to it. You’re presenting yourself with a performance aspect. Whereas on stage, I almost feel like you lose a lot of the personality, or your personality becomes secondary to the performance.” “With the live show, it’s very much more about how we keep the audience engaged. Maybe I’ll play the villain more. Maybe I’ll make fun of the crowd more. Maybe I’ll antagonize them more, more than I normally would. But also, just having a live audience just amps you up. You get way more into it. You see faces, which is a really weird thing.” “When I’m streaming, I have 15k people, and none of our shows are even close to that. If I saw 15k people in front of me, that’s a totally different thing in my brain that’s happening where I’m seeing all this. How you approach it changes wildly. Ultimately, you get on stage and make sure the people who paid to be here get their money’s worth.” While they surely wanted to make a profit off of touring the U.S. for a month straight, Connor spoke about setting aside the business part of his brain for the sake of ensuring the fans who show up in person got to have a unique and special experience. “We present so much stuff online. The business part of my brain is saying, ‘Every show should have been streamed.’ Obviously not, but you do think about how to maximize this, making sense for everyone. But the other part of your head approaches it more artistically, and you’re like— I think for a live show, and especially that one like that one where I find that, if you know too much going into it, it spoils a bit of the fun. Especially if you know the previous answers from different shows cause it was kind of a game as well. I think we just thought that it’d be a more intimate experience for everyone involved if you just turn up to the show, get to experience it, and hopefully, it’s fun.” Those in attendance at these live shows had the opportunity to take a survey that was, in some ways, a part of their performance. It was less of a live show and more of an interactive experience with fans. Preserving that experience took priority over creating content for the much larger audience all three creators have outside of the people attending in-person. CDawgVA has dipped into so many different styles of content that it’s hard to keep track of. His schedule is insanely packed, and he’s in a position where he has so many different things going on at any given time. But Connor doesn’t plan on slowing down. CDawgVA isn’t retiring any time soon Connor’s been busy over the past few months. Constantly collaborating with other creators and traveling, all while trying to keep up with Trash Taste and his own livestream. We asked him about the first thing he did when he got home from Hawaii, the thing he was looking forward to most when he got back to his home in Japan after nearly a month away. “This is gonna sound so mundane… (laughs) I have this really nice coffee machine, and it’s just something that really – It’s such an important ritual for me just to make a coffee in the morning, a nice coffee.” “Not being able to have that kind of morning ritual to get my head into the zone of ‘I’m gonna do some work today,’ not having that sucked, so finally being back and being able to do that is great. I have my parents here, so I was like, ‘You have to come over and try my coffee machine. It’s great.’ I get everyone on it. You come to my house, you have to try a coffee from my machine. It’s so good.” “I think I’m probably gonna take a little tiny break in May? My parents are over right now, so I’m slowing down a little more than I’d like. I’m trying to be a good son.” Can’t fault him for trying to be a good host and showing his parents around Japan, and he seems to be enjoying his small break with them. But, even after traveling so much recently between the Cyclethon and a trip to Hawaii, Connor is still ready to make more content. After years of working with an incredibly busy schedule, he’s still eager to do more and push his content further. “There’s always the question of, ‘What’s next?’ Like, what’s the next big step? Obviously, the lifestyle is tough to maintain at times, right? Weekends aren’t weekends; they’re extra work days. You do kind of wonder how long you can keep doing it.” “I’d like to think I have a pretty healthy balance with how I approach it all. I try to strike a balance between exercising, socializing, and then content as well. I just want to make sure that, when I’m working, that work is all good stuff. Like I’m not just sitting there for two hours and messing around. I think it’s important to have that sort of disciplined approach to it to maintain a busy schedule.” This is where something that hits many successful content creators creeps in: Impostor syndrome. Right before winning the award for Best Philanthropic Stream Event at the Streamer Awards, Connor was on the red carpet saying he’s still shocked people don’t think he’s ConnorEatsPants, another content creator. “The way I’ve kind of looked at it – and this really helps me – if I feel impostor syndrome, it just means I have to make something even better. And it’s this weird kind of cat-and-mouse game where it’s never going to go away, but it kind of motivates me to improve.” “Cause I’m like, ‘I shouldn’t be feeling like this. I know what I make is good.’ But then I wonder, ‘How could I up it even more?’ It’s almost this weird kind of boogeyman that’s chasing you because you can never not feel impostor syndrome if you get some form of success. And, you know, on YouTube or for any online content these days, you can never sit on that. You can never enjoy the success.” “It’s always, ‘Ok, you’ve been successful. You made something people like. How do you top it? How do you make the next thing?’ Having [impostor syndrome] is almost good? But not letting it consume you and hold you back is important. Using it as motivation, I find, is very helpful. And it’s such an easy thing to be like, ‘Just be motivated by it.’ It’s like, ok, well, the mental mechanics of it aren’t that easy. But, for me, I’ve found that it really did help me when I re-aligned how I looked at it. It helped me in a weird way to overcome the challenges I was facing.” But are weekends just being extra workdays something that’s healthy? Is always chasing the next big thing something that’s sustainable? We were curious as to what Connor would want to do at the point that keeping up with this schedule is too much for him or if he sees himself getting to that point at all. “I think there’s some really exciting technology coming out that I’m really invested in, and I could definitely see myself maybe helping with production or assisting with content creation. But, on the other hand, I just love content creation too much right now. I can’t see myself stepping back any time soon; I’ll always be doing something. Maybe I’ll get into woodworking or something, and that’ll be my content in 10 years, where I just make chairs and varnish them.” “I imagine myself getting to that point where maybe I just have a hobby that I like, and I only make content about that. I can always find myself doing some form of content, but at some point, I’ll have to slow down. This is not something I can do when I’m 40. But I think I’ve got a good chunk of years left, and I think it’s only going to get more exciting.”

CDawgVA lashes out at xQc for “wasting everyone’s time” by delaying PogChamps 5 matchup – Dexerto
CDawgVA lashes out at xQc for “wasting everyone’s time” by delaying PogChamps 5 matchup Twitch: xQc/Instagram: CDawgVACDawgVA criticized xQc for “wasting everyone’s time” after the Twitch & Kick superstar delayed the production of PogChamps 5 for hours after not turning up to his match. On August 8, PogChamps 5, the popular chess tournament which sees streamers pitted against each other on the board, hosted its semi-final matches to determine who will be playing in front of a live audience in 10 days. However, the semi-finals were hit with a massive delay as one of the competitors, xQc, was not present for the match. The production had no choice but to delay for everyone involved, resulting in the consolation bracket semi-final matches being played first after a near hour-long wait. Among those affected by xQc’s lateness were the other semi-finalists, including CDawgVA, most commonly known as Connor. CDawgVA criticizes xQc’s lack of punctuality as PogChamps match was delayed for hours CDawgVA was scheduled to play against I Did A Thing after xQc’s match, however, they ended up going before xQc’s match due to his tardiness. Before long, the popular voice actor and Trash Taste host voiced his opinion on xQc’s behavior. “The problem is, it doesn’t matter how entertaining you are, when you don’t value people’s time, people’s effort, that’s something people universally dislike,” Connor said. “It’s not only just your opponent, the commentators, there’s like 20 people working the event.” He continued, “It doesn’t matter how famous you are, I think ultimately being a dick to everyone and wasting everyone’s time and money, because they trusted you to turn up, is just really disrespectful.” He went on to criticize xQc’s historical tendency to drop out from events, saying, “memes aside, xQc never shows, I’m shocked he still gets invited and I’m shocked that he agrees. “Everyone’s like, “Why do we invite him?”, why the f*** does he agree when he knows he’s not going to show up?” xQc’s delay was seemingly due to him getting on a flight to Las Vegas. He then decided to play his match in the middle of the flight with a number of dropouts due to the flight’s WiFi. In a Reddit thread discussing Connor’s criticisms, many pointed out that since Connor lives in Japan, he woke up particularly early for the event, as his match was scheduled to kick off at 5AM locally. In addition, it was Connor who filled in for xQc at Ludwig’s Chessboxing Championship for the slap-chess match against Ludwig when xQc missed the event. Connor won his semi-finals match and Frank-is-here also won his against xQc. Both will be playing against each other in a Grand Finals match in person on August 18.

CDawgVA immediately drops out of Creator League due to blockchain concerns – Dexerto
CDawgVA immediately drops out of Creator League due to blockchain concerns Instagram: CDawgVAThe Creator League has come under fire due to its connection to blockchain technology, and CDawgVA has chosen to pull out of the league less than 24 hours after it was announced, calling his involvement a “f*** up”. CDawgVA, also known as Connor, has not-so-quietly become one of the biggest names on Twitch. His prowess as a voice actor and larger-than-life personality on stream have garnered him a massive following across multiple platforms. So, it’s no surprise that he was invited to be one of 8 captains involved in the Creator League, a content-creator focused competitive gaming circuit that features creators duking it out to prove who’s the best across multiple titles. However, upon hearing that the Creator Pass was fueled by blockchain technology, CDawgVA dropped out of the league almost immediately citing concerns about NFTs and the cryptocurrency platform powering the event. CDawgVA calls joining Creator League an “embarrassing f*** up” Though esports have had their ups and downs in recent years, creator-run orgs have been on an upward trend as of late. Content creators seem to be a surefire way to get eyes on esports, even if the creators themselves aren’t taking to the stage. The Creator League, meanwhile, set out to create a sort of esports circuit that sees the creators themselves competing and getting more involved in the competition itself. However, concerns from the community were raised when they saw the Creator League pass was associated with Mynt, a company that’s partnered with exchange platform Coinflow. Additionally, one part of Mynt’s frequently asked questions tab caught some users off guard. Under the question, “Can I change my Creator League pass to another community?”, this was their answer: “Users can only own a Creator’s Community Pass for one Creator and be a part of one Community at a time. However, you can purchase as many passes as you’d like for the same Creator’s Community.” Considering giveaways are a key part of the marketing around the event, this has rubbed many the wrong way. As a result of hearing about those involved with operating the event and the involvement of blockchain technology, CDawgVA has chosen to bow out. Connor claimed that he “was not told or made aware at any point that there was a Blockchain technology and was only made aware of that information when the event went life.” He went on to explain that, if he was fully aware of what he was getting into, he never would have joined the event in the first place. He continued, “It’s an embarrassing f*** up on my part to agree to promote this to my audience. I’m sorry.” At the time of writing, Connor is still featured on the Creator League site as a creator whose pass can be purchased. It’s as of yet unclear whether or not he’ll be fully removed from the program and how the Creator League will be affected going forward.

CDawgVA is doing yet another cyclethon, and left fans worried after posting a clip of him falling off his bike during the IRL stream. CDawgVA worries fans after cycling accident on stream The clip posted on March 20 to his Twitter account shows Connor riding his bike on the sidewalk while it was raining before the streamer fell to the ground. CDawgVA explains why it’s almost impossible to make YouTube videos in Japan – Dexerto
CDawgVA explains why it’s almost impossible to make YouTube videos in Japan Twitch: CDawgVATwitch streamer CDawgVA has expressed the frustrations of making YouTube content, due to limitations imposed by living in Japan. YouTube and voice actor Connor ‘CDawgVA’ Colquhoun has had an interesting year so far. Earlier this month, the streamer raised funds for The Immune Deficiency Foundation by riding 500 miles across Japan on his bicycle. On the Trash Taste podcast, CDawgVa and co-hosts spoke with Imane ‘Pokimane’ Anys about her career. While the streamer has plenty of projects in the works, it can also be difficult completing them to a standard that satisfies him. CDawgVA has shared how difficult limitations are impacting his YouTube output. CDawgVA is “very unhappy” with some of his YouTube content On September 13, CDawgVA’s Twitch livestream saw the creator discuss how living in Japan affects his YouTube career. Though the streamer has had enormous success, for the most part, CDawgVA explained that “I was getting a little burnt out with my YouTube bombing stuff, just because getting filming permission in Japan is just so hard.” “I was getting really stressed out with talking to these companies and talking to certain places that wanted to butcher my videos in the review process,” continued the streamer. “And I would have a video that I think was really fair and really honest, I wouldn’t really say anything bad but sometimes these companies would just gut it.” While the streamer wouldn’t name any companies specifically out of respect, he did admit that “there are some videos I had to upload that I was very, very unhappy with.” Due to legal agreements, CDawgVA had no choice in the matter and has “rarely scrapped a video, because a lot of the time a lot of investment goes into it.” Though livestreaming is a “calling” for him, the content creator cited that “factors outside of your own desire” make it crucial for him to retain professionalism.

Catherine Paiz hits back at rumors of foreclosure on $7 million ACE Family home – Dexerto
Catherine Paiz hits back at rumors of foreclosure on $7 million ACE Family home YouTube: The ACE FamilyEarlier this month, YouTubers the ACE Family were hit with rumors that claimed they were being evicted from their $7 million home — but it seems like both Austin McBroom and Catherine Paiz are denying these accusations. Austin McBroom and Catherine Paiz have become a hot topic of conversation across social media throughout the month of July due to a series of documents that leaked online, which claimed they were being evicted from their home due to missed payments. That’s not all; a number of purported lawsuits against the couple also emerged during this time, with various social media outlets claiming that several companies were taking legal action against them — including businesses like a construction equipment rental service, a social media aggregator and even their former landlord. However, Austin McBroom denied the rumors in a pointed Instagram story shortly thereafter, arguing, “Ain’t nobody getting evicted, ain’t nobody moving. Stop believing everything you hear haters say on the internet!” It’s taken a while longer for wife Catherine Paiz to speak out on the hullabaloo, who, on July 19, reacted to the rumors in response to a fan comment on Instagram. The fan asked: “How do you feel about your house being foreclosed rumor?” “It’s been such a blessing,” Paiz replied. “All the false narratives and untrue rumors have been a blessing in disguise. They made me appreciate how blessed I am and get closer to God. I feel so alive!” It seems the ACE Family are sticking to their guns when it comes to the many rumors surrounding them at the moment — but that doesn’t seem to be stopping the outrage against Austin McBroom for purportedly not paying talent involved in the Battle of the Platforms boxing event. According to TikToker Bryce Hall, legal talks are taking place between Social Gloves and the aforementioned influencer-boxers. With a decision yet to be publicly announced, it looks like fans will remain waiting for the ACE Family to speak out as rumors continue to swirl.

Catherine McBroom slammed for “disgusting” ‘1212 Gateway’ skincare products – Dexerto
Catherine McBroom slammed for “disgusting” ‘1212 Gateway’ skincare products Instagram: Catherine McBroom/ 1212 GatewayCatherine McBroom of the ACE family has come under fire from a large number of fans who complained about their orders from her skincare company 1212 Gateway. The ACE Family has an enormous following online with 19 million YouTube subscribers, and alongside that have even pushed out their own drinks brand called Silly Juice. However, the family is not shy of controversy. Austin Mcbroom has faced rumors of a secret daughter, and allegations of rape, while both Catherine and Austin were accused of scamming fans with the family’s $50-per-month millionaire program. Right now Austin McBroom is preparing for the YouTubers vs TikTokers boxing card in which he will take on Bryce Hall, and recently they clashed in a brawl at the press conference. However, new accusations of scamming have come to light after a slew of complaints regarding Cathrine’s skincare brand 1212 Gateway were posted online. For Mother’s Day, Catherine posted an Instagram of her holding one of the brand’s products to promote a deal, but the post was filled with negative comments and outraged customers. Several users complained that their products arrived faulty or damaged, and that when they tried to get help from the company, they were ignored or given very little compensation. User nairobireign wrote: “Their resolution to my damaged $100 order was to send a $20 gift card. Save your bank y’all.” View this post on Instagram Another person added, “Catherine’s whole skincare is also a scam. Why aren’t you replying to people who got broken products and to those who haven’t received their products, yet as ‘A BUSINESS’ don’t you have any responsibility towards your customers aka your subscribers. You are having a meal on your plate because they f**king trusted you and paid you.” One person even made a TikTok showing her unboxing the products only to find one had a large black hair on the bottle, and the other products were dirty with marks all over them. Statistics for the skincare company’s Instagram account show that 13,000 followers were lost in the past month.

Catherine McBroom skincare brand backlash continues over missing products – Dexerto
Catherine McBroom skincare brand backlash continues over missing products Instagram: catherinemcbroomThe ACE Family’s Catherine McBroom and her skincare brand 1212 Gateway continue to receive backlash as some customers claim their products still haven’t arrived. Catherine and Austin McBroom are two of the most popular family vloggers on YouTube, and with over 19 million subscribers, the pair have had plenty of career opportunities over the years. However, things haven’t been going smoothly for the couple recently, after a string of allegations put them in the spotlight. Austin has been accused of owning part of Social Gloves, the company in a pay scandal following the TikTokers vs. YouTubers event. It was also rumored that they were getting evicted from their home after allegedly failing to pay mortgage and tax, but Austin disputed these claims. Catherine’s skincare brand 1212 Gateway has faced a great deal of criticism since it was launched in 2020 too, and in May that backlash ramped up when customers reported they were receiving faulty products, some even describing the business as a “scam.” In early July it was also reported the Catherine is in a legal dispute with her business partners. Now, attention has shifted to delivery times, with some people claiming they have still yet to receive their products despite ordering them weeks or even months ago. Although there were many positive comments about the company, some customers who were ordering the products for the third or fourth time claimed that their order hadn’t been shipped yet, or that they hadn’t received any details about the order despite waiting over two weeks. Fans who have yet to order anything from the site have claimed they’re “scared to order” as a result of all the complaints they are hearing about delivery times and product quality. @defnoodles this how my @CatherinePaiz order arrived. and i waited 2 months for it !! pic.twitter.com/U9IlFgy7Pu — #ThankYouTrish (@bellastratus3) July 9, 2021 The shipping FAQ on 1212 Gateway’s website explains that while shipping time depends on shipment method and seasonal variations among other factors, they say that for domestic orders they allow up to a week for processing and 4-5 days for domestic delivery. With this just adding to the ACE family’s ongoing controversies, it’s unclear what kind of impact this will have on the skincare brand.

Catherine McBroom side-eyes Tana Mongeau over ‘attention-seeking’ cheating rumors – Dexerto
Catherine McBroom side-eyes Tana Mongeau over ‘attention-seeking’ cheating rumors Instagram: Tana Mongeau / Catherine PaizIn her first post since returning to social media after the YouTube vs. TikTok Battle of the Platforms event, Catherine McBroom side-eyed Tana Mongeau for spreading ‘attention-seeking’ rumors about Austin cheating. The internet blew up during the YouTube Vs. TikTok Battle of the Platforms event for all the wrong reasons after Tana Mongeau claimed Austin cheated on Catherine multiple times, including an instance where she discovered suspicious lipstick in his car. However, the allegations have since been debunked after Erika Costell revealed it belonged to her, and she left it there after Austin drove her and Jake Paul home. Despite the seriousness of the claims, Catherine remained surprisingly quiet on social media since the rumors first spread. But now that she has re-surfaced online, she explained why and even took the time to make a subtle jab at Tana. “I noticed a lot of you guys were asking if I was okay. I was off my phone for a couple of days. I was spending time with my family,” said Catherine. She explained the constant “focus” and “pressure” drove her to unplug from the internet for a while. However, now that she’s back, she immediately took a swipe at Tana. “I think that every time there’s… a lot of attention directed towards us, I feel like a lot of people come out of the woodworks and just start directing the attention to themselves,” she said. Catherine admitted the false rumors were “one-thousand percent stressful” on her to the point where it made her “nervous” and induced unpleasant bouts of anxiety. “Sometimes you’ve got to remind people that people got feelings too. People are living human experiences just like you.” https://twitter.com/defnoodles/status/1405991096254025729?s=20 Fans had mixed reactions to her post. Some claimed she seems to be “emotionally distancing” herself from the issue, implying that Austin is, in fact, cheating on her. After all, it’s not the first time the rumors have surfaced. TikToker Monica Bush claimed she slept with him, too. However, others sympathized with the hardships of being in the public eye and the toll the cheating rumors have taken on her. But when it’s all said and done, they’re just glad to see her back online and posting content once again.

Catherine McBroom rubbishes claims husband Austin is hiding “secret family” – Dexerto
Catherine McBroom rubbishes claims husband Austin is hiding “secret family” Instagram: Austin McBroomCatherine McBroom hit back Todo Bien, a news publication on Snapchat, and rubbished the “absolutely repulsive” claims that her husband, Austin McBroom, has a “secret family.” It’s been a massive year for the Ace Family, and it’s about to get even bigger when Austin McBroom steps into the ring against Bryce Hall at the YouTubers vs TikTokers: Battle of the Platforms event. If it all goes according to plan, the payout is going to be huge. However, it hasn’t been all sunshine and rainbows for America’s favorite YouTube family. Rumors that Austin has a “secret daughter” have been floating around after a TikTok user claimed her baby was his child. Catherine rubbished the claims in a lengthy post directed at a Snapchat news publication called Todo Bien. She called them out for spreading fake news “every other week” using the same photo, and described the whole situation as “absolutely repulsive.” “Every other week, Todo Bien uses this same exact photo of my husband and me to report a different version of the exact false story,” she said. “I get that using my name to lure people to click on your story is profitable, but continuing to cover a version of the same fake news is disturbing and desperate.” “The false narrative about me is absolutely repulsive in so many ways. I can’t even begin to articulate how terribly wrong and untrue that is.” She believes the rumors, as well as the TikTok video, are getting “more attention than [they] should have thanks to outlets like Todo Bien” and accused them of “taking advantage” of the situation. https://twitter.com/defnoodles/status/1388736355245592578?s=20 Todo Bien has not responded yet. However, fans have had mixed reactions to her comments. Some believe it keeps re-surfacing for a reason, and think there might be some truth to the claims. Others urged her to ignore it if it’s false and stop adding more fuel to the fire by calling them out.

Catherine McBroom responds to Trisha Paytas & Tana Mongeau’s claims that Austin cheated Instagram: tanamongeau / YouTube: The ACE FamilyAfter the ACE Family’s Catherine McBroom was asked about Trisha Paytas and Tana Mongeau’s claims that her husband Austin cheated on her, she claimed she ‘doesn’t know’ who they are. The ACE Family is one of YouTube’s most popular family vlog channels, with over 19 million subscribers and a huge number of dedicated fans. However, in the past few months, Austin has come under fire for a number of different reasons. Following the YouTubers vs. TikTokers pay drama, Austin was sued by multiple different people, with some claiming he ‘misrepresented’ the event to them. On top of this, he has also been accused of cheating on his wife Catherine. In June, YouTuber Tana Mongeau accused Austin of paying off her roommate so they wouldn’t expose him cheating, among other claims, but Austin responded by calling her a “clout chaser.” In August, Trisha Paytas also alleged he was “clearly cheating.” 🧢 to the biggest clout chaser of them all! And it was actually Erika Costell’s lipstick dummy, I was taking Jake and her back to Jake’s house. This lame as lie ain’t gunna save the attention that your lil bf Bryce is about to get for his ass whoopin. — Austin McBroom (@AustinMcbroom) June 12, 2021 On September 2, paparazzi channel Hollywood Digest asked Catherine as she was getting into her car: “Tana and Trisha are always coming up with cheating rumors against Austin, do you have anything to say about that?” She responded: “I’m sorry, I don’t know who those people are. Have a good day,” before shutting the car door. While it’s possible that she didn’t recognize the names in the moment, some commenters have claimed that it was intentional shade toward the two YouTubers who have been making claims against Austin. Topic starts at 1:55 Others claimed that the McBrooms were actually at Tana’s wedding when she got married to fellow YouTuber Jake Paul back in 2019. It’s not clear whether she’ll ever go on to address the cheating allegations against her husband in full, but it looks like she’s not interested in entertaining the claims for now.

Although immensely popular on YouTube with over 19 million subscribers, the ACE Family has come under a heavy amount of criticism for various different reasons. On August 12, Catherine responded to rumors that she “stole” business ideas from her friend and fellow content creator Amanda Clavon after someone asked about it on Snapchat. This comes after Amanda’s husband Madison accused Catherine of taking her ideas in a series of Instagram stories, writing: “That whole plan and other things previous were Amanda’s ideas, even that crystal store. “She was supposed to help Amanda blow it up and then took her ideas and used them for herself. Enough is enough,” he wrote, going on to say that Catherine “literally stole” Amanda’s plan from her. View this post on Instagram In response to the fan asking about the allegations, Catherine wrote: “No, I’ve never stolen anyone’s ideas,” before going on to add, “as for him saying I stole an idea of hers; come to find out my friend has plans to start her new business selling crystal boxes (I know that) and he saw that I posted my pop up and thought I opened a crystal store… when in reality I was just having a last-minute event at my friend’s shop.” View this post on Instagram She went on to explain he sent her an apology after the public drama and “feels badly about his mistake,” going on to tell those reading her response not to bully anyone involved. With Catherine planning on starting up a solo YouTube channel, it looks like there’ll be plenty of new projects to come for the influencer.

Catherine McBroom explains why ACE Family “protected” people who hurt them – Dexerto
Catherine McBroom explains why ACE Family “protected” people who hurt them YouTube: The ACE FamilyThe ACE family’s Catherine McBroom has opened up about her family’s life behind the scenes, explaining that there is much more than meets the eye, that they’ve chosen to keep private. Catherine McBroom and her family have an enormous following online with 19 million YouTube subscribers, and while they’ve had success, such as their business ventures in the form of drinks brand Silly Juice and Catherine’s skincare brand 1212 Gateway, they’ve had a lot of controversies. Austin McBroom has faced rumors of a secret daughter and allegations of rape, while both Catherine and Austin were accused of scamming fans with the family’s $50-per-month millionaire program. Right now Austin McBroom is preparing for the YouTubers vs TikTokers boxing card in which he will take on Bryce Hall, and recently they clashed in a brawl at the press conference. However, on top of that, despite the family revealing so much of their daily lives, it turns out there is much more than meets the eye. Catherine McBroom decided to post her own 45-minute long vlog on some of her experiences and speaking on how they separate their private and public lives. “There’s a lot of private things that have happened to me, that have happened to Austin and I together, in business, and in family and all sorts of things,” Catherine began. (Topic starts at 4:00) She explained that this was a conscious decision, adding, “I feel like us not publicly speaking about those things over the years was mainly to protect those people.” Catherine implied that even aside from the dramatic events publicly known, the family has been through much more than you might think. “What’s crazy is we’ve protected even people who’ve done us wrong and who’ve hurt us and stolen from us… We feel like putting that energy out and talking about it, it just makes more problems. “I’ve never really gone into detail in the things that I’ve really experienced,” she said, before discussing her mental health, and even revealing that she has a deep fear of the ocean. While it is clear the ACE family would like to keep the details of these events private, naturally, fans are now more curious than ever.

Our paths as a couple have shifted and have created challenges that are irreconcilable.” While Catherine said that this decision came with a “heavy heart,” she also admitted to feeling “liberated” by it, saying she “seemed to be losing myself and my own personal happiness” due to prioritizing her children and “commitment to family.” She ended her statement by calling Austin her “best friend,” saying that’s a status that will “never change.” Ace Family’s Austin McBroom opens up on divorce from Catherine McBroom also published a statement on his own Instagram page alongside a photo of himself and Catherine in skydiving equipment and jumpsuits. “We have mutually agreed to a divorce, but will remain a team when it comes to our kids,” he wrote. “We created one of the greatest stories, almost a decade together, so many memories, so many accomplishments, but every book comes to end.” “We both understand that holding on is believing that there’s only a past, and letting go is knowing that there’s a future. Catherine McBroom confuses fans with odd response to allegations of drug promotion – Dexerto
Catherine McBroom confuses fans with odd response to allegations of drug promotion Instagram: catherinemcbroomCatherine McBroom has responded to allegations of promoting drugs, confusing fans with her comments in the process. Austin McBroom may have his boxing match against AnEsonGib coming up, but it appears his wife Catherine is up to other stuff in her life. McBroom was asked by a fan recently whether or not she was promoting “magic mushrooms” online, because it’s “not what they expected from her.” She responded to the accusations but left fans confused with how odd her comments were. Catherine McBroom confuses fans In what appears to be a Snapchat story, Catherine responded to the fan accusing her of promoting drugs online. She replied: “Promoting isn’t the correct word. More like being vulnerable and sharing what I know is the truth. Something most of the world is lacking in today’s time. Most people are “promoting” hate speech, bullying, violence, lab created “medicine,” liquor, etc. All things that are truly poison. “Most people are conditioned by the matrix. It’s time to reverse it. I’m also a 31-year-old woman with a lot of life experience and still haven’t shared my story with the world yet. The Irony. Everything I share is extremely authentic to me.” Another fan responded, asking Catherine a question in regards to her initial response. They asked: “Just out of curiosity and no hate – do you not support any “lab-created” medicine? What about the kind that actually saves lives? Just wondering, not hating!” McBroom responded: “In my opinion, lab-created medicine is only a bandaid. Plants heal. Nature heals. That’s my opinion, and we can agree to disagree. That’s fine too.” Her responses left fans confused, taking to DefNoodles’ post about the subject to share their thoughts. One user said: “I don’t think she understands how medicine is created.” While another replied: “What a strange woman.”

Catherine McBroom claims Shyla Walker is ‘spreading lies’ amid ACE Family drama – Dexerto
Catherine McBroom claims Shyla Walker is ‘spreading lies’ amid ACE Family drama Instagram: shyla / catherinemcbroomCatherine McBroom has responded to accusations Shyla Walker made against The ACE Family, claiming that she is ‘spreading lies’ about them. In August, influencer Shyla Walker called out The ACE Family on social media, criticizing Austin McBroom for allegedly posting an image of her daughter, his niece, online. Walker shared a screenshot of a message she had sent McBroom, in which she said: “Stop posting my kid. Post your three content makers and leave mine out of it, dookie boy. You’re really a dumb motherf**ker. “Do you really need another lawsuit? Think about that. I don’t even care to blackmail you or anything like that. I won’t post anything of the content of you at your little wh*rehouse you begged me for the footage for… leave my kid out of it, weird a* b*tch.” In a caption on top of the screenshot, she also added, “Oh, and how you tried to have security k*ll and r*pe Cole what’s-his-name when ‘that’ video came out,” appearing to reference accusations made in 2019. She also claimed she and her mother were receiving threats via text message, posting a series of screenshots on Instagram. Catherine McBroom responds to accusations Not long after Shyla first called Austin out, Catherine McBroom uploaded a number of videos to her Instagram story in which she addressed the drama. “So, she claims that her daughter is being used for clout. Alright, so let’s discuss this. Shyla, I don’t know if you know what clout is, okay? So, there’s a difference between clout and then family.” Speaking about their YouTube fame, she went on to say: “You jumped on the bandwagon, and that’s what you started to do, and you did it for many years, and all of a sudden when your relationship ended, when Landon broke up with you, you decided that because it wasn’t in your favor anymore, that you were gonna decide that your daughter is clout now. Which doesn’t make any sense.” She later continued: “Then you proceed and you say that Austin, my husband, has tried to kill somebody. And that really p*ssed me off, because that is so far from what Austin is and how he would ever speak and react, and you literally have no idea who my husband is, you’ve never known us like that, and for you to just say something so dark and evil is really scary. “I just find that that was completely out of line, and this is mainly the reason why I’m making this video is because you need to be stopped, and you really do need to heal.” It looks as though this feud could be set to continue, though at the time of writing, Shyla hasn’t responded to Catherine’s latest Instagram stories.

Catherine McBroom calls out people “blaming” her for $10m mansion foreclosure – Dexerto
Catherine McBroom calls out people “blaming” her for $10m mansion foreclosure Instagram: catherinemcbroomAfter the ACE Family uploaded a video revealing the full story of how their mansion was foreclosed, Catherine McBroom has called out people who are “blaming” the couple for the issues they had with the property. Catherine and Austin McBroom are a couple that runs the ‘ACE Family’ vlog channel, where they document their lives with their kids in videos they share to over 19 million subscribers. In July 2021, there were reports that they were being evicted from the huge mansion that they feature in their videos, and they finally addressed the claims in a video uploaded on November 28, titled ‘Our House. Story.’ They claimed that they had been “scammed” by the contractor, realtor, and architect they used, experiencing a slew of construction issues across the house. As they never received their certificate of occupancy, they struggled to take out loans for the property, which is why it ultimately went under foreclosure. The video certainly caused a stir online, with fans and critics alike not hesitating to share their opinion, but after the video was uploaded, Catherine responded to some of the criticism she had been receiving about the situation. “I don’t want anyone to feel bad for me,” she wrote on Instagram, after thanking fans for their support. “This is not about that. If it was I would have shared this all years ago.” “And for those [who] are criticizing our decision and blaming us for the issues, shame on you,” she went on to say. “People need to understand that this all started in 2018, 4 years ago when I believed in people. I believed that people were good and honest. “I believed that I was around good people but we were taken advantage of. It’s caused me to move differently and change my trust due to life experiences. It was a learning lesson.” After someone commented saying “all you’re talking about is cheap material, as if you deserve the highest quality,” Catherine replied: “I paid for the highest quality, but it was pocketed. That’s what corrupt contractors do. If you really pay attention you’ll understand but the problem with people like you is that you’ve already made up your mind about me. You don’t care to listen. There’s a reason why we have two ears and one mouth. Listen more.” In their original video, Austin and Catherine revealed that they just got a new house, and many are already curious to see how this one will fare compared to the previous one.

Catfish’s Nev Schulman thinks AI and deepfake will affect online dating: “You can create a human being” – Dexerto
Catfish’s Nev Schulman thinks AI and deepfake will affect online dating: “You can create a human being” YouTube: MTV CatfishNev Schulman from MTV’s Catfish just shared how he believes AI and deepfake technology will affect online dating. AI and Deepfake technology have quickly been advancing all over the world… and not necessarily in the best way. There was been an influx of deepfakes posing as celebrities and influencers on social media. It has also had an effect on the voice-acting industry. Catfish’s Nev Schulman is tasked with figuring out whether people’s romantic partners online are who they say they are. And now, that task is about to get a lot harder. What did Nev Schulman say about deepfake and AI? On July 19, we spoke with Nev about the possibility of AI and deepfakes entering the online dating world. He said, “I mean, I do think about that. ‘Cause now, you can create a human being, or at least the likeness of a human being. And I can talk and it can think. So for sure, I imagine we’ll see some permeation of AI into online dating.” The reality TV star went on to predict the main way AI will have an effect on dating websites. Nev said, “It’ll probably happen more, honestly in an advertising way, is my guess. People will create AI characters to interact on dating sites just to let you know about some movie coming out, or a credit card application, or something. Or who knows?” “But yeah, I wish we could eliminate lies,” he continued. “That we could someone create a world and a society and an internet where everyone has to tell the truth. I just don’t think that’s going to happen anytime soon.” To stay updated on all of the latest entertainment news, make sure to check our page here.

Catchy Fortnite parody song “Chug Jug With You” goes viral on TikTok – Dexerto
Catchy Fortnite parody song “Chug Jug With You” goes viral on TikTok Epic Games / Pexels, @cottonbroBased on Kanye West and Estelle’s “American Boy,” a Fortnite parody song is the latest viral hit on TikTok. It’s called “Chug Jug With You,” it’s from 2018, and people love it. “We got a number one Victory Royale — yeah Fortnite, we’re about to get down ). Ten kills on the board right now, just wiped out Tomato Town.” If your TikTok algorithm has thrown you anywhere near the gaming or good-vibe spheres, chances are you’ve heard those magical words. Several years after its debut, a Fortnite parody of “American Boy” has gone viral on the platform, and its “get down” ad lib is everyone’s latest source of immediate serotonin. “My friend just got downed, I revived him, now we’re heading southbound. Now, we’re in the Pleasant Park streets, look at the map, go to the mark sheets.” Sorry, but it’s probably bad luck not to finish that off. Plus, if you’ve heard it, then the melody was probably already in your head. Alternatively, if you haven’t had the pleasure of hearing the latest gift (or curse) bestowed upon us by Fortnite kids, then it might be best to start with a classic example of how happy it’s making people. The original parody, “Let’s play Fortnite!!!!,” was created by YouTube’s CM SKITS back in 2018, but, with about 84,000 views, it didn’t gain very much nationwide traction. An artist named Leviathan then made a version, titled “Chug Jug With You” around 2019, and that melodically infused rendition has gone up to over 400,000 plays on SoundCloud. As TikTok is known to do, the song has now, years later, made an incredible resurgence. Not only are there over 100,000 videos made using the sound, but some of them — like Ethan ‘H3HE’ Klein and GeorgeNotFound’s reactions — have millions of likes (and even more views). Read more: How to block and unblock people on TikTok – Past the sea of joyful reactions, the track has also spawned a variety of creative collaborations. In one such example, musician ‘adamtahere’ called it the “catchiest song I’ve ever heard” and proceeded to sing a beautifully autotuned version. Like Dota 2 and Netflix, the song has even gotten an animation treatment. And, while the budget is obviously lower for this one, ‘Pan_animates’ nonetheless had to bring Leviathan’s ode to Fortnite, Estelle and Kanye to artistic life. Ever since Fortnite released in 2017, it has fluctuated as a blend between gaming and mainstream culture. Some parents and teachers probably got mad at all of the game’s dances infecting their homes and schools, but it seems that the game’s influence is welcomed on TIkTok. As the dust settles and games like Call of Duty: Warzone take footholds in the battle royale world, we appear to have been granted the mental space to appreciate some of Fortnite’s offerings. From the “dog water” and “my friend, Justin” memes to “Chug Jug With You,” the game is getting love on TikTok.

Cat obsessed with Aldi sparks massive debate after cute video goes viral – Dexerto
Cat obsessed with Aldi sparks massive debate after cute video goes viral Wikimedia CommonsA cat has gone viral on Instagram for his love of Aldi, with their owner forced to put up “Not missing signs.” The Instagram video begins, “Every day at an Aldi’s car park, Benji gets reported missing.” To the chagrin of his owner, they announced, “He just keeps going to Aldi.” This has resulted in them having to create laminated signs, with a photograph of Benji saying “I’m not lost.” “I’ve got my number on his tag,” they start, “(So) people will ring us 20 – 30 times a day.” This meant that the owner had to change Benji’s tag to avoid the incessant calls. It now reads “Do not feed me, I have allergies. If I am in Aldi, I am fine.” The owner shared another fun fact about Benji – he uses the restroom just like a human being. Apparently, when the woman was potty training her son, the cat started copying the process. People debate ‘Aldi cat’ The video, which went viral on Instagram, unsurprisingly accumulated a whole bunch of comments. In fact, a rather large debate was instigated over the life of this now famous Aldi cat. One said “How about this. Don’t let your cats wander outdoors, it’s irresponsible.” The most liked comment on the post thought otherwise, however, as they proclaimed: “It’s crazy to think that so many people have issues with cats going outside. It’s so weird to keep a cat inside unless you absolutely have to. They’re outdoor animals.” The indoor vs outdoor cat debate rages on, as some argue that cats should be free to roam, while others argue it is cruel both for the cats, who will have a shorter lifespan outdoors, as well as to wildlife that outdoor cats will target. Experts at International Cat Care explain, “In all cases, the decision should be made in relation to the individual cat and their own preferences, as well as the type of environment they will be exposed to if allowed to roam.” Another took issue with Benji using the toilet, stating “Please don’t encourage cats to do a number two in the loo, there are parasites and germs that our water system will not be able to remove, so they will go straight into the mains supply.” Another tried to negotiate the debate surrounding the video, saying “I really dislike social media sometimes. Cute cat video hijacked today by lectures about keeping cats inside, and bizarrely, tap water is now dangerous.” One thing everyone can agree on is that Benji is one cute cat.

Cat interrupts Guitar Hero stream in the best way possible – Dexerto
Cat interrupts Guitar Hero stream in the best way possible Playing Guitar Hero requires a lot of concentration – something that can easily be broken by a cat who is on a mission to get your attention. Guitar Hero can be played casually, especially if you’re not focused on hitting every note, but it’s a lot more challenging if you want to perform each song perfectly. With enough hours put in for practice, you can do this – but things get a lot harder when your cat gets in the way. UKOGmonkey, a partnered Twitch streamer with over 172,000 followers, showed his viewers just how difficult this could be as his cat looked for a way to climb up to his shoulder. As he was in the process of playing a song high on the difficulty scale, the cat bobbed and weaved its way underneath his guitar and climbed up from his torso to his shoulder. Amazingly, monkey was able to keep his composure and not miss a single note of the song. At that point, it became clear this isn’t his first time having to deal with a situation like this. The clip that captures this moment playing out quickly went viral, amassing over 130,000 likes on Twitter at the time of writing. Read More: Top 10 most-watched Twitch clips of 2019 – In a followup to this moment, monkey uploaded a video saying that his cat, Tiny, appreciates all of the attention he has received. Tiny says thank you for all the attention he got from this tweet pic.twitter.com/eqKVDdRS0y — UKOG (@ukogmonkey) January 6, 2020 It looks like the streamer has no hard feelings for what his cat did, which is certainly good to see. Everyone knows how difficult animals can be to deal with while playing a video game, but it looks like it’s all love between the two here. Cats tend to be very affectionate animals, but sometimes they can decide to show their love at the worst possible time. While monkey was able to keep the ball rolling this time, we can only imagine how many songs he has failed in the past due to his cat jumping on him at the wrong time. He says that if you’re a fan of his cat, then you can tune into his broadcasts and maybe catch a glimpse of him showing up there. Let’s just hope he doesn’t continue to sabotage the Guitar Hero sessions.

Cat becomes employee of the year after being adopted by Home Depot store – Dexerto
Cat becomes employee of the year after being adopted by Home Depot store TikTokA cat named Leo has gone viral on TikTok after it was revealed he’d been adopted by a Home Depot store in New Jersey which now serves as his new home. Here’s everything you need to know. Leo is a domesticated shop cat who’s made a home out of Home Depot in Burlington, New Jersey. He’s become quite the star on TikTok where a man called Jeff tells viewers all about how he’d been adopted to live in the Home Depot store permanently. It’s now been revealed that Leo has been named employee of the year at the store as he constantly entertains customers with his presence while also hunting mice and birds that find their way into the store. Viewers love the story and are constantly asking more questions about the cat and his unique living situation. Here’s everything we know about Leo, the Home Depot cat, and how he ended up being a permanent resident in a New Jersey Home Depot. Who is Leo the cat? Leo rose to fame after a man named Jeff (@cat_dad_2020) first posted about him on TikTok. Being no stranger to sharing posts about his own cats as well as others, Jeff began sharing several videos about Leo, who has appropriately been dubbed the Home Depot Cat. Jeff told his 378,000 followers that Leo was rescued from an animal shelter and had been a barn cat before arriving at the shelter. Leo can typically be spotted wandering the store and holing up in some of his favorite spots across the show floor. These spots include the top shelves, on top of a worker’s drawer between aisles, and even amongst the succulents in the plant section. He also loves getting attention from shoppers. Leo even has a whole routine set up. Every night, he is placed in the garden center part of the store by whoever is on duty at the time. He gets locked in there with everything he needs, including fresh water and food. Some workers are even responsible for cleaning his litter box every day. Though everyone in the store is happy to care for him, his “primary caregiver” is a worker named Donna. According to another one of Jeff’s TikToks, Donna takes Leo to vet appointments and keeps track of his health. Donna also picks out Leo’s food and gets him water. Unfortunately, he may have proven to be too popular. In one TikTok, Jeff revealed that Leo has nearly been cat-napped on multiple occasions. Luckily, they’ve been stopped at practically every turn. He now has an AirTag on his collar which prevents him from being kidnapped or from escaping. Although, according to Jeff, Leo has too much to focus on with the sleeping and keeping the store in check from having any interest in leaving.

In the case of Castro, the FIFA streamer has been attending the World Cup in Qatar, going to matches, and exploring the city of Doha on his off days. He’s already gone a bit viral on TikTok for his reaction to Robert Lewandowki’s penalty being saved against Mexico, but, during December 7 stream, he had a scary moment where he captured a car crash happening right in front of them. Castro_1021 catches massive car crash during IRL Twitch stream With the World Cup having two days off between the round of 16 and quarter-finals, Castro took his IRL stream around Doha, visiting a few attractions and meeting a few fans in the wild. Towards the end of the broadcast, he and his pals were being driven around by a taxi driver and having a pretty jovial chat. Though that turned into a pretty frightening scene when a car traveling alongside them crashed and rolled right in front of the car Castro was traveling in. The Twitch streamer repeatedly urged the driver to stop as the car rolled in front of them, wanting to bring calm to the situation. It’s unclear what caused the other car to crash, especially as there didn’t appear to be any contact between them. Castro confirmed that everyone came out of things unscathed, including the other driver and that the police had assisted with everything. The original clips and parts of his stream where the crash happened have since been removed and the steamer hasn’t been live since it happened. Though, he may address things further when he does.

Castro1021 loses his mind after catastrophe breaks his new setup – Dexerto
Castro1021 loses his mind after catastrophe breaks his new setup In the digital age, plenty of rare moments have been caught on camera and shared with the world, but this FIFA scene, Edwin ‘Castro1021‘ Castro has amassed over 1.5 million subscribers on YouTube and nearly 2 million followers on Twitch. No amount of experience on camera could have prepared him for what was about to happen in the midst of a recent broadcast however. According to the National Geographic, there is a one in 700,000 chance of being struck by lightning yet Castro came within inches of being that unlucky in his October 24 stream. Read more: FIFA 20 FUT Draft Rewards – Streaming FIFA with his brand new setup, the popular content creator was absolutely mortified after a loud crash of thunder and a bright streak of lightning hit all at once. Did you see that? That was lightning bro,” he screamed, running back into frame after the bolt of lightning cascaded down on-stream. “My monitor doesn’t even turn on anymore, what the f*ck is going on?” the FIFA player amusingly added upon realizing that part of his new streaming setup was impacted in the incident. Castro soon found his way back in-game and continued streaming for a few hours longer, despite the technical difficulties he endured on behalf of the lightning-induced disaster. Whether the electrical surge improved his odds of opening some insane packs in FIFA remains to be seen, but after a close call like that, perhaps the streamer should try his luck. Castro rose to internet stardom with his exceptional FIFA gameplay and hilarious reactions when opening packs throughout the years. Hopefully, he can get back to his old ways with the new streaming setup and avoid any other absurd strokes of misfortune in the near future.

Castro1021 fans stunned at streamer’s Twitch ban – Dexerto
Castro1021 fans stunned at streamer’s Twitch ban YouTube: Castro1021, TwitchFIFA streamer Edwin Castro has been banned on Twitch for unknown reasons, leaving fans stunned and searching for answers. Castro jumped to popularity when he joined The Sidemen along with notable influencers like KSI and Vikkstar. He’s been well-known for his FIFA livestreams that have raised significant money for charity, including participating in last year’s Sideman Charity Match against several of his Sidemen compatriots and MrBeast. But Castro has also been known for some minor controversies, including capturing a high-speed chase live during an IRL stream around the FIFA World Cup. Castro1021 gets mysteriously banned The StreamerBans Twitter account has confirmed that Castro1021’s account was banned on April 13. And it’s not a late April Fool’s joke. Already multiple fans are coming to Castro’s defense, questioning what the Mexican-American streamer even did to warrant a ban. Fellow streamer soap agreed with the fan sentiment, saying, “There’s no way he did anything to get banned.” Now, this isn’t the first blemish on Castro’s record. He was once banned from the FIFA 22 FUT transfer market, despite being partnered with EA Sports’ Game Changer program. He also has a penchant for blowing up during FIFA matches, and has broken his fair share of controllers out of frustration on stream. However, for someone who has devoted so much of his streaming career to charitable work and without an obvious reason for this ban, his fans and colleagues are understandably confused. We will update this space when more information becomes available.

Castro beats The Mob to win $500k 100 Thieves Uno Super Bowl tournament – Dexerto
Castro beats The Mob to win $500k 100 Thieves Uno Super Bowl tournament Twitch: 100 ThievesFIFA streamer Edwin ‘Castro1021’ Castro has taken home the 100 Thieves Half A Million Halftime Uno tournament, earning himself $125,000 in the process and the champion belt. While the Super Bowl action was heating up between the Kansas City Chiefs and the San Francisco 49ers, the house was burning down over in Los Angeles at the 100 Thieves compound during their $500,000 Uno tournament. The esports organization put on a show for fans during the halftime break, grabbing the biggest personalities in gaming for an intense game of Uno, with a few tricks. The bottom two players from each game faced off in a separate elimination challenge to try and survive, with the winner moving on and adding more money to their tally. They’re both bad at darts, but only @Nadeshot is going home! 🤯 #CashAppHalftime Elimination challenge presented by @elgatogaming pic.twitter.com/E9KXkTlXpl — 100 Thieves (@100Thieves) February 3, 2020 100 Thieves founder Matthew ‘Nadeshot’ Haag was the first player eliminated from the table after losing to Moe ‘Yassuo’ A. in the first challenge, involving throwing darts at balloons. From there, Fortnite streamer Dennis ‘Cloakzy’ Lepore was sent home second, being followed by Rachell ‘Valkyrae’ Hofstetter shortly after. As the table got smaller, tensions grew, with more popoffs happening as the wins started flowing. Jack ‘CouRage’ Dunlop was the first to get a proper Uno win, taking home the fifth game that sent Clint ‘Maven‘ Evans and Castro to elimination. Faced with the task of shaking out table tennis balls from a tissue box strapped to their back, Castro edged out the Call of Duty caster in a win that was decided by “executive decision” looking back on the replays. Castro used his lifeline wisely, staying away from elimination in the sixth game, before taking home the seventh and final game against The Mob to win $125,000 and the champion belt. “I’m so happy for 100 Thieves for bringing me out here to compete in this Uno tournament,” he said in his victory speech. “They made me feel like family out here, and I just appreciate them for the invite.” The FIFA star seemed shocked with the win, and was more softly spoken than usual. The money he won is going to a good cause, with Castro pledging his $125,000 winnings to charity, getting a bit emotional as he was presented the check. The Mob came in second place, earning themselves $75,000 in the process, while CouRage came in third with a mint $50,000.

Castro breaks silence after Dallas Utd racism controversy in $1m tournament – Dexerto
Castro breaks silence after Dallas Utd racism controversy in $1m tournament Instagram: castro2021FIFA streamer Castro has spoken out about the controversy surrounding his Dallas United football team, after they were embroiled in racism accusations against a team representing West Ham during a 7v7, $1 million tournament. On Thursday, June 1, the first day of The Soccer Tournament, Dallas United faced off against a team representing the Premier League’s West Ham United on the opening day of the tournament. Before the match could conclude, however, former West Ham EPL star Anton Ferdinand led a walk-off, and the fixture was suspended after a Dallas player was accused of using a racial slur against West Ham player Frank Nouble. Ultimately, after some deliberation, the organizers decided that Dallas United had violated TST’s Code of Conduct, and mutually agreed to withdraw the team from the competition, stating that “all parties involved are unified in wanting to make a statement against racial insensitivity.” After a few days of silence from Dallas United owner Edwin Castro posted a statement to his Twitter account, clearly upset at what had unfolded. “The past few days have been so devastating and confusing,” he said. “My intention with Dallas United from the very beginning has always been to give everyone an opportunity and just simply make my parents proud.” Castro finished the tweet simply by saying “I’ll be back” with a broken heart emoji, though he hasn’t returned to streaming since the incident. He was banned on Twitch in April 2023 for reasons unknown, though many believe it was likely a DMCA takedown. The $1 million prize for The Soccer Tournament eventually went to Connecticut-based amateur side Newtown Pride FC, who took down the Canadians of SLC FC 2-0 in the final.

Cashier goes viral for looking just like a combination of Dua Lipa and Hailey Bieber – Dexerto
Cashier goes viral for looking just like a combination of Dua Lipa and Hailey Bieber YouTube: Good Morning America, WIRED / Instagram: lupana_canoA cashier is taking TikTok by storm as viewers can’t help but think she looks just like both UK pop star Dua Lipa and American model Hailey Bieber at the same time. TikTok is home to over one billion active users worldwide and stands as one of the most prominent social media platforms over other apps like Twitter and Instagram — even outranking searches for Google back in 2021. As such, it stands to reason that at least a few of TikTok’s billion users would be celebrity lookalikes. In fact, a few have gone viral online over the past year, including a Selena Gomez doppelganger that had viewers doing a double-take. Now, another lookalike has taken over the video-sharing app, and her response to all the attention has been nothing short of legendary. TikToker goes viral for looking like Dua Lipa & Hailey Bieber 23-year-old TikToker Alejandra Silva has garnered over one million followers on the app for her uncanny resemblance to both UK singer Dua Lipa and American model Hailey Bieber, and commenters can’t get enough of her unique looks. Seemingly in response to all the comparisons, she’s even made her online handle ‘dua_lupitaa’ to poke fun at her social media stardom. Unlike her doppelgangers, Silva isn’t a globe-trotting superstar… at least, not yet, but there’s no telling where her newfound internet fame will take her next. For now, the TikToker is a cashier at Oxxo, a chain of convenience stores found in Mexico. Silva’s videos have racked up millions of views each as fans can’t get enough of the celebrity lookalike working behind the counter. “Dua Lipa works at an Oxxo,” one user wrote. “I fell in love with the Oxxo girl,” another joked. Another commenter cheekily called the cashier a “Dua Lipa lite” version. In fact, Silva has even been interviewed by local news outlets after getting noticed by netizens, who she says she’s grateful for “liking my content.” For now, it looks like Silva isn’t shy of sharing her experiences as an Oxxo cashier while also boasting celebrity looks — and the internet is clearly here for it. This is just the latest lookalike to go viral on TikTok after Kylie Jenner’s doppelganger took over the platform over the summer.

Cashier divides TikTok over allowing customers to steal while on break TIKTOK: stresseddepressed01A cashier has left viewers divided, after claiming in viral TikTok that he lets customers steal while he’s on break. The convenience store worker, who posts under the handle stresseddepressed01, shared a video claiming he doesn’t care when customers steal from the store since he only earns minimum wage. The viral TikTok clip, which has over 800,000 views, shows the worker walking around his job in uniform pretending to see someone stealing and letting them go. “Me noticing someone in the store stealing on my 14th self given smoke break,” the TikToker wrote in text over the video. The lyrics “If you want it, take it” from Ariana Grande’s song ‘Break Free’ plays in the background. “Thats on working minimum wage,” he captioned the video. Viewers flooded the comment section, as they debated whether low-paid retail workers should be expected to confront shoplifters. TikTok viewers react to cashier letting customers steal “To be fair, you really shouldn’t risk your safety to stop them. You rlly don’t know what ppl are capable of so, valid” one viewer wrote, siding with the TikToker. “Same I’m not chasing anyone for 12 an hour are you fr” another viewer added. “I’m not the cops baby i jus work here,” someone argued. Other workers shared their own experiences dealing with shoplifters. “Guh someone tried to rob me at Burger King and Before he said “give” I layed the safe keys on the counter with the register open and left” a cashier shared. “Used to yell at the coworkers that would chase them like babe you rlly tryna catch hands for min wage? Ppl b strapped no thank u” someone else commented. Others said they don’t care if people steal from big companies. “If you see someone stealing from a big company, no you didn’t,” one viewer wrote. It is generally standard for retail stores to discourage workers from stopping shoplifters in stores due to safety concerns. Many big companies have even fired employees for going against policies instructing workers to not confront shoplifters.

Casey Neistat Unveils New 368 Gaming Space with TSM Myth, TBNRFrags and TypicalGamer in Partnership with Battlefield V Casey Neistat’s 368 Gaming space is officially up and running, thanks to a partnership with EA and Battlefield V, joined by streamers TSM Myth, TBNRFrags and Typical Gamer. Neistat launched his 368 scheme in early 2018, with plans for a gaming arm announced in May, and it finally official, kicking off with the Battlefield V beta. Twitch streamer and TSM member Ali “Myth” Kabbani was in the building, as well as YouTubers Typical Gamer and member Preston (a.k.a TBNRFrags). Neistat isn’t known to have much involvement with gaming generally, and admits he would make a terrible professional player because he’s “not very good at sitting still.” But with the help of Myth, TG and Preston, Neistat said he achieved what his original goal with 368 Gaming was. “At the end of the day, it was a handful of people who also make their living on YouTube, on Twitch, on the internet, getting together and talking about our experiences. And that is very literally the expressed goal of what I had hoped to do at the 368. So really amazingly awesome day.” Neistat doesn’t reveal how his own gaming went, but did title the video ‘worst pro gamer ever’ – so it doesn’t sound good. Myth however proved he is more than just a Fortnite wiz, pulling off this crazy game winning spree in only his second match of Battlefield V. Future plans for 368 Gaming are unclear, but with Neistat’s following, other publishers and developers may look at doing a similar partnership as EA have done to help promote new releases. More: Battlefield V Beta has Banned the Term ‘White man’ in Game Chat – EA Say Profanity Filter is a “work-in-progress” – The impact of streamers and gaming YouTubers cannot be understated in the current gaming market, and developers will know that putting their game in front of millions by way of content creators is a big advertising boost.

Casey Neistat teases New York return as daily vlogs restart – Dexerto
Casey Neistat teases New York return as daily vlogs restart Screenshot via YouTubePopular content creator Casey Neistat has hinted at a possible return to New York after restarting his daily vlogs following a lengthy absence. Anyone who watched Casey Neistat’s vlogs when they were one of the most popular things on YouTube will immediately point to New York playing a key role in his videos. The YouTuber used to skate around the city on his Boosted Board, show what he was getting up in and around his iconic office, and regularly take his drones out to show off some pretty spectacular shots of New York. That all changed back in May of 2019, when he revealed that he was packing up and heading to California with his family. Upon making the move to the West Coast, Casey’s vlogs took a break but since September 11, he’s made a return to regular videos – and might even make a return to New York. During his September 18 vlog, titled ‘She’s ready to leave,’ Casey noted that he had been speaking to his wife Candice about living in California and New York. He noted that every time that he and Candice “want to move back to New York City,” they end up having a weekend where they remember the big reason why they moved to Cali in the first place – family. Though, they do admit to still missing it. “You still miss the city?” he asked his wife, getting a quick reply of “yes” back. “Do you like California?” Casey also asked, before Candice dropped a swift “no” as the video come to its conclusion. Timestamp of 4:22 While the YouTuber doesn’t state that he’s heading back to New York anytime soon, the fact that his Venice home has been listed on the market has added further fuel to growing speculation. The listing, which was been spotted in a number of reports, has the Neistat five-bedroom home up on the market at close to $4 million. While the listing might just be up to register some interest, or because they want to move elsewhere in California, fans will be keeping a keen eye on things in case any further hints about a potential return to New York and the east coast pop up.

Casey Neistat shares live updates on cross-country road trip with father-in-law – Dexerto
Casey Neistat shares live updates on cross-country road trip with father-in-law Twitter, @CaseySuperstar YouTuber and vlogging pioneer Casey Neistat is taking on a new adventure, an ambitious cross-country road trip with his father-in-law, and he’s tweeting live updates along the 3,200-mile excursion. History podcasts, party urinals, and 3,200 miles of America to drive through. Neistat and his father-in-law have a truck and a mission, but the road is bumpy and fans get to come along for the ride. At the time of writing, Neistat and his co-pilot have made their way from Los Angeles, California through Utah, en route to Massachusetts. There have been naps, decisions not to speak with each other, and a worrisome fuel scare. The wild rollercoaster of a road trip (and Twitter thread) all started at 4:52 AM PT on June 12, 2021, with Casey sharing a picture of him heading to pick up his father-in-law, Stanley. From there, things only get progressively more entertaining. 🚨TRAVEL THREAD🚨 I’m driving from Los Angeles to Massachusetts, about 3200 miles (5150km), and will be sharing my journey here in one gigantic thread. —June 12, 2021 4:52AM trip begins— pic.twitter.com/sDkXbV1bBW— Casey Neistat (@Casey) June 12, 2021 Aware of Stanley’s needs, Casey also set up a quality sleeping bag and nap section in the back of his truck. That worked wonders, as “Stan the Man” proceeded to pop in for a nap as soon as he got picked up. At the first re-fuel, Casey even got to experience a lovely new restroom opportunity: the “Waterfall Urinal,” which has space for two to three guys at a time, as long as they’re not “shy.” But not all fuel needs are fun, as the drivers swapped and eventually realized that they were running low on gas with no gas station in sight. Fortunately, with 0.2 gallons left in their 24-gallon tank, Casey and Stanley were able to find a lone station in the middle of nowhere. As Stanley summarized perfectly, “that was f**king close!” That used up some of their limited talking time, as the duo agreed to an 80-20 split — with 80 percent of the time spent listening (no speaking!) to history podcasts and the other 20 percent spent talking about those podcasts. We’ll continue to update this piece as more details emerge about this ambitious road trip, but we’re hoping the pair has already learned from their early fuel crisis in the desert.

Casey Neistat’s Samsung Galaxy Fold review becomes instant meme – Dexerto
Casey Neistat’s Samsung Galaxy Fold review becomes instant meme Casey NeistatHugely popular YouTuber Casey Neistat got roasted by one quick-thinking fan for his review of the soon to be released Samsung Galaxy Fold smartphone. What is the Samsung Galaxy Fold? The Fold, Samsung’s first dip into the foldable smartphone market, isn’t set to release for a few more days – April 26 in the US and May 3 in the UK and Europe, to be exact – yet, reviewers across the world have had already got to grips with the new device. One such reviewer is YouTuber Casey Neistat, who has worked with Samsung in the past on a number of projects – including an advertising spot during the 2017 Oscars. Thankfully, unlike many other review models of the Fold, Neistat’s didn’t immediately break thanks to faulty screen issues. ‘Two’ phones for the price of one Unfortunately for Neistat, though, his review of the phone did become an instant meme. It took a few a days, but one Twitter user – DizzyHasSwag – took a short clip from the video and spiced it up, giving it the ‘Galaxy Brain’ meme treatment. As the YouTuber explains, the smartphone is a pretty standard thickness when laid out flat. However, when you fold it over to put the device away, the Fold quickly becomes as thick as two phones laying on top of each – a truly incredible piece of insight (not). Neistat clearly saw the funny side of the video, retweeting the post to his almost two million followers on Twitter. In his concise tweet review, the on-and-off again Vlogger explained that he also felt that the device is “too big” when folded – giving Samsung to something to work on for their future in the folding smartphone market. However, the popular YouTuber seems to be a fan of the device, taking questions on a wide range of topics from fans and other internet personalities alike.

Casey Neistat reviews the world’s most expensive first class plane seat – Dexerto
Casey Neistat reviews the world’s most expensive first class plane seat Popular YouTube vlogger Caisey Neistat wowed viewers when he showed off what it’s like to fly with the most expensive first class ticket in the world. Flying first class is a luxury that only people with a lot of cash to splash can experience, unless they’re lucky enough to be given a seat upgrade by airline staff. YouTube star Caisey Neistat uploaded a video on December 16 that gave fans a glimpse into what flying with the most expensive airline ticket in the world was like – and it’s actually insane. Most expensive first class ticket in the world While most airplane tickets consist of one seat, the vlogger’s experience came with three rooms: a bedroom, ensuite shower room, and a living room. He was lucky enough to have been given the flight for free, so he decided to vlog it all for a video to show viewers what life is like if you have thousands of dollars spare for Etihad Airlines’ The Residence ticket. The 38-year-old was gifted a Wi-Fi pass, a headset, some pyjamas, and a robe by a ‘VIP Travel Concierge’ (AKA butler) upon being directed to his seat in his own living room lounge area. Caisey started his review with a tour of his three rooms, and seemed most impressed by the two large reclining seats in the lounge area, which contained a hidden refrigerated compartment underneath filled with drinks. It even boasted a spacious three feet of leg room – 14 feet once the YouTuber shifted over to the right across from the hallway space. He then moved into the bedroom, where he shared some excitable thoughts on the bed. “The bed is like a real bed! There’s even a TV for you!” The Residence’s bathroom was the most fascinating of all, though, and seemed more like a hotel bathroom than one you’d typically see on an airplane. Not only did it have a shelf filled with luxury toiletries and a robe hanging on the back of the door, it also came with its own blow dryer, full-sized shower with up to 10 minutes of water usage, and a separate sink. “The airplane bathroom is usually the grossest place on the whole thing, it’s basically a flying porta potty,” the YouTuber said. “But with this seat, you get a private bathroom! You don’t have to share it with anyone, this is just MY bathroom!” To top off the experience, the Concierge laid out a fancy table spread in the living room for Caisey’s on-flight meal, which consisted of three luxury courses fit for a king. “There are two things you never really get when flying on an airplane: space and privacy. And this plane had a borderline RIDICULOUS amount of both of those things,” he concluded when talking about how he found his in-the-sky adventure. “If you’re looking to spend the price of a new Toyota on one flight, what an experience!”

Casey Neistat reveals why he’s leaving New York “”forever”” – Dexerto
Casey Neistat reveals why he’s leaving New York “”forever”” Hugely popular YouTuber Casey Neistat has revealed that he and his family will, finally, be leaving New York City for the West Coast – moving to Los Angeles. Neistat revealed the huge news in a video simply titled “I’m Leaving NYC forever..” on May 10th – where he documented his history with New York City, holding his own office space that has been a staple of his videos through the years, and just what the move means for him moving forward personally. While some fans may have dismissed the title as clickbait, the popular Vlogger explained right out of the gate that it was going to be a serious video and one that would have a major impact on his channel and life. Why is Casey Neistat leaving New York? After going back over his extensive history with the office, Casey jumped into the reasons why he’s moving on. The YouTuber explained that family played a big role in their decision to move, detailing the number of family members that he has in Los Angles. “I think when you get older, your priorities are no longer about you – they become about your kids and I don’t want to raise my kids without family.” Casey also revealed that the move has been a huge reason why he hasn’t been as active on YouTube as many fans probably would have liked, just due to the enormous undertaking of moving his whole life 3,000 miles away. “I’m excited, I’m super excited. As much as I fear or don’t want to close the chapter on my life that has been New York City – that has been amazing – opening this next chapter here… yeah, I’m really excited about it,” he added. The YouTuber closed out his video with a small montage of some of the most iconic parts of the studio that fans have seen throughout the years in his videos – including his dozens of broken cameras on their wall, his televisions that always play The Godfather on repeat, and his Boosted Boards charging station. “It’s a little sad, it’s a little emotional,” said Casey as he closed out the video. He added: “It’s a lot,” before walking away and ending the clip, seemingly overwhelmed by everything. Casey Neistat reveals stunning renovation of $3.7 million LA home – Dexerto
Casey Neistat reveals stunning renovation of $3.7 million LA home Instagram: Casey NeistatHuge YouTube vlogger Casey Nesitat has revealed the renovation on his 3.7 million dollar LA home with his wife Candice Pool, and it looks just as incredible as you would expect. After Casey started documenting his life through the medium of daily vlogs on YouTube in 2015, he started getting an incredible amount of traction on the platform. His background as a filmmaker helped him elevate his content above basic filming techniques, and has garnered him over 12 million subscribers on YouTube, with almost three billion views across his many videos. On May 10 2019, Casey announced through a video that he would be leaving New York City “forever.” He explained that he wanted to move to LA because they have so much family there, saying: “I think when you get older, your priorities are no longer about you – they become about your kids and I don’t want to raise my kids without family.” Then began his LA journey, purchasing a property with partner Candice in Venice, LA for $3.7 million according to Dirt. The seaside neighborhood also sees properties selling for up to $5 million in the case of Game of Throne star Emilia Clark. In a feature with Architectural Digest, Casey and Candice shared details of the renovation on their LA four bedroom house. In his Instagram post, Casey called it his “fancy-ass rich guy house,” and looking at the pictures, it’s certainly easy to see how he came up with the nickname. https://www.instagram.com/p/CEaRpLkhid4/ The house is bright and open, a classic feature of these high price point LA houses, with floor to ceiling windows in many areas, and sharp, stylish decor. That’s not to say that the house is without personality, though. Interesting features such as the pastel pink staircase, and colorful patterned wallpaper ensure that the house has the warmth needed for a family home, just what Casey wanted when he decided to leave his New York life behind. More details of the redecoration process can be found in Casey’s feature at Architectural Digest. Commenters were in awe, saying “this house is stunning” and talking about their favorite parts of the gorgeous design including “the window design” in the sleek new kitchen. Casey Neistat reveals how LA has changed his priorities in life – Dexerto
Casey Neistat reveals how LA has changed his priorities in life CaseyNeistat YouTubeYouTube star Casey Neistat has reprioritized his life after moving to Los Angeles, saying that the good times in California are in “the shadow of the hardest, most tumultuous five years” of his life. Moving all the way from New York City, Neistat’s “hustle and grind” in production has earned him a YouTube channel boasting over 11 million subscribers, two million followers on Twitter, and over 900,000 followers on Facebook. From a dishwasher in Connecticut to a media pioneer in New York, Neistat’s ascension has been one of the most impressive and inspiring climbs to internet stardom. However, this success came at a price, with the YouTuber revealing he had an “addiction to work” which led to his prominence – but might have left important facets of life “on hold.” “All of (the fun since moving to LA) is in the shadow of what was the hardest, most tumultuous five years of my life professionally,” Neistat explained. “As long as (my fans have known me) work has been my life, and everything else including family have been on the sidelines.” Moving to the sunny beaches of LA, Neistat was finally able to realize just how much he’s been making his family or health secondary to his work. Read more: Is Belle Delphine’s mugshot and arrest real? – Noting how hard it was for him to admit that, the YouTuber is now looking forward to restructuring how his life operates with an unconventional form of “rehab.” “Instead of going to rehab to overcome an addiction to a substance,” Neistat explained. “I feel like I’m in rehab to overcome an addiction to work.” The new era of his life will see that his family and his well-being are the top priority. It seems like content creation and his work will now be taking a backseat to spending time with his wife and kids or going out to surf and run trails. Neistat isn’t sure he’s overcome his addiction to work, since he still carries “the passion to make things,” but going through with the decision to move across the country gave him the opportunity for “a hard reset.” Since the YouTuber has always had an active connection with his following, he gave his viewers a simple request to prevent him from falling back to old patterns. “I’m still going to make YouTube videos,” he said. “And if I make too many videos, please, put in the comments ‘Casey, stop making videos. Go play with your kids.’”

Casey Neistat returns to New York City for first time after “retiring” from vlogging – Dexerto
Casey Neistat returns to New York City for first time after “retiring” from vlogging YouTube: Casey NeistatYouTube star Casey Neistat notably quit his daily vlogging adventures in 2016 and moved away from NYC some time afterward — but now, years later, he’s back where it all began. Neistat quickly rose to prominence as one of YouTube’s most popular vloggers, recording his daily outings in the hustle and bustle of New York City in high-quality, ten-minute videos that he uploaded every day. However, after 18 months of daily vlogs, Neistat claimed that the “experiment was over,” explaining that he needed more of a “creative challenge” for his content. While Neistat had made his home in New York City for some time, in 2019, the vlogger moved to Los Angeles to “slow things down” and spend more time with his family — and although he continued to make content, it wasn’t the same as his previous daily vids. However, nearly two years later, Neistat has finally made a comeback in NYC, and it’s a pretty big deal to his fans. The YouTuber explained why he’d come back in a video on June 7, 2021, stating that he had visited his father after a major (and blessedly successful) medical operation, and since he was close to New York, decided to give the old homestead a runback. “When I was coming over that hill, and I saw the New York City skyline for the first time, I’m looking at this city, the love of my life, I know my dad’s doing great, ’cause he’s out of the hospital… I literally started crying,” he said. “I was so happy!” While he was back home, Neistat decided to congratulate fellow YouTuber ‘HELLAHGOOD,‘ who had just completed running a 3,200 mile, 84-day journey across the United States from Los Angeles to New York to benefit non-profit Soles4Souls. Neistat is ever a generous influencer, and gave HELLAH an opportunity to shine and explain his massive project before leaving NYC after just one day there… but it’s a short trip that we can bet he won’t forget anytime soon.

Casey Neistat pulled over by police on fake Tesla Cyberbike – Dexerto
Casey Neistat pulled over by police on fake Tesla Cyberbike YouTube: Casey NeistatCasey Neistat was pulled over by police in a video posted on February 3, which saw him traversing around Los Angeles on a fake “Tesla Cyberbike.” The YouTuber and filmmaker opens his video with a montage of him driving around on an electric bike that looks to be a two-wheeled version of the Tesla Cybertruck, which was first revealed in November 2019. It’s somewhat chunky for a bike, but it looks clean and has the Cybertruck edges that make it look more like a spaceship than a road vehicle. Naturally, it caught a lot of attention, and Casey made sure to show it off and explain to people what exactly he was driving. The bike, which was designed by Casey and Super73, is one of the company’s standard new vehicles but covered with an aluminum frame, which Casey says they “got carried away” with and ended up simply designing a Tesla-inspired Cyberbike. When he starts to explain the Cyberbike to viewers, Neistat is very honest. “While you can ride the Cyberbike, you can’t ride it very well, especially when you have to make a turn,” he says. Showing a close up of the handlebars, which are simply sticking out of a hole in the aluminum case, they look difficult to maneuver as they scrape along the casing. He reveals that the “Cyberbike” casing around the bike is simply a deterrent to stop people from seeing the actual bike itself due to it not being ready for public eyes yet. Nonetheless, it looks great as Neistat travels around Santa Monica and the infamous LA beaches, catching a few strange looks as he does so. He goes on to describe the Cyberbike as “kind of janky, it sort of works, it’s hard to drive and it’s not particularly safe,” showing off his incredible sales prowess before taking a look at the difficult building process of the bike. Finally, towards the end of the video, the police sirens ring and Casey explains what’s going on to the officer who asks if it’s an electric bike or a motorbike, and questions their use of a drone, of which certain laws have to be adhered to for its usage. Though we don’t see what comes of the police encounter, it’s clear the officer isn’t too concerned and Neistat, obviously, gets away from the situation without too much hassle. Although this bike isn’t actually a Tesla, we wouldn’t be surprised if it’s given Elon Musk an idea of what to work on next…

Casey Neistat is one of YouTube’s OG vloggers. Boasting over 12.4 million subscribers, he’s best known for his daily vlogs in New York City, but has since moved to Los Angeles to focus on his family. It’s not surprising that Neistat and Dobrik are friends, as they were both pioneers in the vlogging space back in the day. View this post on Instagram It was announced that Neistat’s film, titled ‘Under the Influence,’ will premiere at the festival on March 12, with Neistat expected to make a guest appearance, according to the SXSW’s schedule, The hour and forty-minute doc aims to “capture one of the most precipitous rise-and-falls in the history of the internet… in real-time.” As stated in the film’s description, it covers topics including the allegations surrounding the Vlog Squad, as well as the near-death accident in which Vlog Squad member Jeff Wittek incurred serious eye damage while dangling off of an excavator in the middle of a lake. “In the real world, these kinds of actions have life-changing consequences, but in the gold rush ecosystem of social media influence, the audience decides who succeeds, and who gets banished forever,” the doc’s description says. It seems that the project managed to be kept under wraps for quite some time, as it’s thought that the production started several years ago, with Neistat and Dobrik having been spotted in Slovakia back in 2019, according to Refresher. Casey Neistat implies David Dobrik may not be happy with documentary about him – Dexerto
Casey Neistat implies David Dobrik may not be happy with documentary about him Casey NeistatDavid Dobrik might not be too excited for Casey Neistat’s brand new documentary which chronicles the fallout surrounding the social media star. Neistat has been hard at work on his Dobrik-focused documentary called “Under the Influence” since 2019. With the film’s premier at South by Southwest on March 12, Neistat talked to Variety, where he revealed he hasn’t spoken to Dobrik since conducting the final interview for the film. Dobrik “has seen the film” Neistat told Variety that after the Business Insider article released with multiple allegations against Dobrik in 2021, the vlogger’s attitude towards the project changed dramatically. “The only time he engaged on camera after that article was released was for one final interview,” Neistat revealed. “It’s an interview that has a very different tone from the rest of the film. It’s an interview that is also peppered throughout the film, and it sandwiches the opening of the movie and end of the movie.” Casey also said that while he knows Dobrik has seen the film, the two haven’t spoken since that final interview, so he doesn’t know how he feels about it. “He has seen the film,” Neistat confirmed, adding that he “certainly can’t speak for” whether or not Dobrik liked it or not. Where to watch “Under the Influence” If you want to watch “Under the Influence” for yourself but weren’t able to attend South by Southwest, you might be in for a bit of a wait, as Neistat is still looking for a distributor to pick up the documentary. Given how big of a name Dobrik is and the unprecedented behind-the-scenes access Neistat was granted (before the 2021 allegations at least) we’d say you probably won’t have to wait too long to see it somewhere.

Casey Neistat responds to Kayne West controversy amid antisemitic comments On October 25, Casey Neistat steered away from his usual vlog content, uploading the video ‘Kanye, you broke my heart’. Responding with his thoughts on West’s recent behavior, Neistat explained that “all I can think about is the hatred that this guy is spewing. The damage that it’s causing.” “Hostility towards all Jewish people is on the rise and Kanye West, one of the biggest stars on the planet, is doing his part to fan the flames of hatred towards an entire group of people,” continued Neistat. While Neistat claims he is “not religious” he believes that “Judaism is an Ethno-religion…while my feelings are undefined, I’m immensely proud of my Jewish background and heritage.” “So for Ye to spew that kind of hatred, it doesn’t matter whether it’s antisemitism or old fashioned racism…it’s all the same, it’s all hate speech,” he added. Neistat expressed that West’s influence in relation to these comments “tells other people of comprised integrity…it gives them permission to also get out there and spread hate.” As a long-time admirer of West’s artistry, Neistat clarified that West’s words “hurt” even more as West’s early music “is generational. It has the power to inspire a generation.” Instead, Neistat feels that West is using his platform to “divide instead of unite.” In the wake of West’s behavior, Adidas dropped the musician from their brand and all Yeezy products will cease manufacturing.

Neistat has garnered over 12 million subscribers in his thirteen years on the platform, during which time he’s moved away, and right back to, New York City. Using his foot, Neistat poked at the crumbled concrete — and it fell away right under his foot, revealing a massive sinkhole that could seriously injure a person if they managed to accidentally step into it without looking. Curious, Neistat decided to see just how deep the sinkhole was and used his arm to get a better look with his phone, showing that the hole was at least ten feet deep and filled with old, rusting pipes. In classic New York fashion, commenters couldn’t help but poke fun at their city in the comments, with one user writing: “Bro just found Old York.” “Are the Ninja Turtles in there?” another asked. “I would have fallen in there and sued for a trillion!” another joked. Of course, this is just the latest entry in the city’s sinkhole chronicles. Neistat hasn’t talked to Dobrik in over a year In a recent interview at SXSW, Neistat revealed that he hasn’t talked to Dobrik in over a year after former Bussiness Insider journalist, Kat Timbarge, exposed Dobrik in regards to sexual assault allegations, back in March of 2021. “You know he and I were really in touch quite a bit after that Kat Timbarge reporting, after her article came out in Insider, which was the huge disruptor,” Neistat said. He also claimed it was the “catalyst for the shift” in focus with his documentary. “The last time he and I spoke was shortly after that final interview,” Dobrik told SXSW. In a viral clip with over 690,000 views, content creator Matt (therealvideomattpresents) recorded a woman berating a Carl’s Jr. worker over some sauce. “Look at that, that is like horrible,” the woman told the employee, while handing him what appeared to be a sauce in a packet. “I don’t know who gave it to me, but you know that right? That’s disgusting.” As the “Karen” kept critiquing and yelling at the employee, Matt chimed in, sticking up for the worker. “You know these guys have a hard job. It’s just some sauce, ma’am,” he said. “You need to show people respect, this is America, show him respect.” The woman said she’s had experience working in the fast-food industry, and claimed she was showing respect. “This is none of your business!” she told Matt, before returning her attention to the employee. The TikToker then turned the camera on himself. “You guys be nice when you come out here,” he told viewers. “Stop belittling these people. They’re under enough stress. “The corporation is making all the money and letting these people have to deal with the front lines. This is horrible. This is not America, this [is] not how we treat our fellow brother and man,” he continued. “This is not normal. Wake up, wake up, wake up. This is what we’re breeding. People that just don’t care. This is just the latest ‘Karen’ video to take off on TikTok, after a woman caught an angry ‘Karen’ throwing poop and boiling water over her car.

Carl Froch responds to Jake Paul’s fight offer with conditions of his own – Dexerto
Carl Froch responds to Jake Paul’s fight offer with conditions of his own X: Carl Froch/Jake PaulBoxing legend Carl Froch has hit Jake Paul with a counter-offer after the YouTuber-turned-boxer suggested he fight Anderson Silva before they possibly square off. Even though he’s still a relative newcomer to the world of boxing, Jake Paul has never lacked confidence in his skills and he hasn’t shied away from calling out all manner of fighters. ‘The Problem Child’ is putting the final touches on his training camp ahead of his fight with longtime rival Tommy Fury, but he’s also been engaged in a war of words with former super-middleweight champion Carl Froch. The Brit, who last fought in 2014 and racked up an incredible 33-2 record, has been critical of Jake’s boxing endeavor over the past few years. Jake urged him to fight Anderson ‘The Spider’ Silva before the pair could meet and Froch could get a “payday” from fighting him. Carl Froch answers Jake Paul fight offer with his own condition Well, the boxing Hall of Famer has hit back at the YouTuber-turned-boxer, labeling him a “performing clown.” However, he says he will listen to Jake’s offer if he beats Fury on February 26. “I won’t be fighting the Mixed Martial Arts legend Anderson Silva on your undercard, I’ve got too much respect for him. And your punch – did that even land? Very dubious,” Froch said, referencing Jake’s contentious fight against Silva. “Anyway, you’ve got a job to do against Tommy Fury. If by some miracle you manage to beat Tommy Fury then I’ll listen to you, I’ll have a little chat with you, see what garbage comes out of your mouth, see what you’ve got to say.” As it stands, Jake is yet to respond to Froch’s counter-offer, but he rarely keeps quiet even when preparing to fight someone else. So, expect to see him fire back before long, even if the super-middleweight is threatening to send him into “orbit” and “knock that stupid barnet off” with his signature right hand. Who is Carl Froch? As noted, Froch – who was born in Nottingham, England – is a boxing Hall of Famer after racking up a 33-2 record. He last fought in 2014, defeating George Groves in the second of their two fights. That was a domestic super fight at the time, held at Wembley in front of 80,000 fans – a fact that Froch is keen to remind fans of every time he is utilized as an analyst for fights. Known as The Cobra, the 45-year-old is a two-time super-middleweight champion, so he’s around Jake’s weight class naturally. If anything does happen between Jake and the boxing legend, we’ll keep on top of it. So, check back for more.

Cardi B’s fans praised her for how well the TikTok hack worked for her dress alteration Fortunately for Cardi B, her friend knew of a viral TikTok hack that would fix her dress in minutes when her stylist wasn’t around. Though we’re well into 2023, the hack has been around since at least October 2021. Though the ‘WAP’ rapper was wearing a dress that was too big around her waist, her friend used a circular trinket like a bangle to place on the inside of the dress’s fabric. She then used a hair tie to tie around the bracelet. Doing this helped to tighten Cardi B’s dress, resulting in her blushing with happiness at how well it fit her curves. After her dress was finished being altered, Cardi B twirled around to show the ruched finish from using the TikTok hack. She also captioned her Twitter/X video explaining the situation, saying, “So my stylist wasn’t on the plane with me so Patience and my makeup artist did this TikTok hack to take my dress in… would you try this??? Teamwork makes the dream work!!!” So my stylist wasn’t on the plane with me so Patience and my makeup artist did this TikTok hack to take my dress in… would you try this??? Teamwork make the dream work!!! pic.twitter.com/C4e4HSQscr — Cardi B (@iamcardib) October 3, 2023 Those who saw her video commented on the ingenuity, saying, “Look, so easy to fix!” Others made sure to compliment the rapper on her beauty, saying, “Looking amazing.” As well as, “Cardi the beautiful lady.” One fan even took the time to shout out Cardi B’s team who helped her out, saying, “Your team really doesn’t play about you.” Though it’s unknown exactly where Cardi B would be wearing her altered metallic dress, one thing is for sure — her team will stop at nothing to help the ‘Bodak Yellow’ rapper look better than ever!

Cardi B and Offset first met in 2017 before exchanging vows later that same year. They have since welcomed two children together, Kulture and Wave. Over the years, their tumultuous relationship has been a talking point in mainstream media and with fans. In 2020, Cardi B filed for divorce after rumors circulated Offset cheated on her, but eventually, the pair reconciled. Infidelity rumors swirled again as recently as September 2023. Now, it appears their marriage might be on the rocks once again after a series of posts made on social media. Cardi B unfollows Offset after cryptic Instagram Stories posts The rapper reportedly took to Instagram Stories on December 4 with a series of cryptic posts alluding to a fallout with her husband and rapper Offset. “You know when you just out grow relationships,” she shared in the first story. She then added in a follow-up post, “I’m tired of protecting peoples feelings…I gotta put myself first.” Fans immediately began digging and noticed that not only did she unfollow Offset but he returned the favor. Reportedly, Offset seemingly responded to his wife’s posts by sharing a clip from the film Scarface on his own Instagram Stories. Following this news, it appears Cardi B has lost more than 100,000 followers since the Stories. Neither artist has yet to make any additional statements or posts. It should also be noted that Offset was noticeably absent during the recent Balenciaga’s pre-fall 2024 show, at which Cardi B made her runway debut. While Offset’s absence may just be a coincidence, it does have fans speculating that their relationship is most definitely on the outs. For more entertainment news, keep it locked to Dexerto.

A woman on TikTok is receiving a swath of support from netizens after she was nearly brought to tears when two bystanders started openly mocking her for taking photos of herself at a ball game. In the video, TikTok user ‘Jackie La Bonita’ gave a play-by-play of the incident, showing herself posing for photos while a woman sitting behind her seemed to notice her filming and flipped the bird at the camera. That’s not all; the woman even started recording the whole thing herself, loudly saying, “Laaaame” and even getting her friend in on the ordeal, with both letting out loud laughs. Jackie claims that she could hear their conversation and confirmed that they were talking about her. Her video, which she uploaded to TikTok, has racked up over 34 million views since being posted on Saturday, April 22 — and netizens weren’t impressed with the ladies’ behavior. Although comments have now been disabled on Jackie’s post, users across social media are claiming that angry viewers managed to find the women on social media and allegedly doxxed their personal information. Cardi B calls out women for making fun of TikToker That’s not all; the incident even caught the attention of American rap star Cardi B, who put out a scathing tweet making special mention of Jackie’s large, jewel-encrusted ring. “I would [have] put that ring to use,” she said. Commenters were quick to agree with the rapper, with many claiming that the women got what was coming to them. However, others seemed to feel that the internet went a bit too far by exposing their private information online. “If you go somewhere and you sit behind someone who’s trying to enjoy themselves, and all you could do is sit there and make fun of them, then your life gotta be pretty sad and pathetic,” one user said. What people think of Cardi B’s new Pumpkin Spice flavor Cardi B sent out free samples of her Pumpkin Spice Whipshot for popular fast-food TikTokers to try. It’s safe to say that they were a big hit on the platform, with many posters clamoring to review the product. One TikToker, Kayleigh, who sampled the new Whipshot from the seat of her car stated that she “was not driving”, and that the “lighting is just better in here”, referring to the high alcohol volume in the shots. In the video, she was taken by surprise, commenting “Whoa, that’s strong!”. She says, however, that it’s “tasty”, and “goes really well with coffee”. Another reviewer screeched, “Cardi B knows who I am!”, unlike Kayleigh, wasn’t too impressed by the flavor. She makes a disgruntled face toward the camera, while her boyfriend comments “Oh god that’s strong as shit, I just took a shot”, saying “10 percent… that’s more of an IPA”. Commenters, however, weren’t put off by the review, saying “I’m dying to try that”, and “This looks so good”. The Pumpkin Spice Whipshot is available to buy here, directly from the brand’s website.

On-again and off-again, the pair have seen the highs and the lows that come with such a high-profile relationship. I don’t care to find out,” she said, referencing a new wave of cheating rumors aimed at Offset. “I’ve been single for a minute now,” she added, confirming the split. But I changed my mind.” All things considered, she looks ahead to a promising new year. “I want to start 2024 like fresh, open. I’m curious for a new life, for a new beginning. I’m excited,” she said. Many fans speculate the breakup could be “a stunt,” but that’s just a rumor at this point. The two rappers might be over, but it appears Cardi B is taking it in stride. Cardi B goes viral after throwing microphone at fan who tossed drink – Dexerto
Cardi B goes viral after throwing microphone at fan who tossed drink Twitter: PopBaseCardi B has gone viral after a video showed the 30-year-old WAP rapper ditch her microphone at a fan after they threw their drink at her. A new trend has seemingly started with fans throwing objects at their favorite artists. Earlier this year, Bebe Rexha had to be rushed off stage after she was hit in the head by a concert-goer’s phone. And just recently, a Drake fan received an offer from Playboy after ditching their bra at the God’s Plan rapper. However, Cardi B has proven she is not one to be trifled with after a drink was thrown at her while performing on a small stage stint at Drai’s Beach Club in Las Vegas. Without a moment’s hesitation, the American rapper hit back by launching her microphone at the unsuspecting fan. “She did what needed to be done! People need to stop throwing stuff at performers!” one Twitter user wrote in support of the rapper’s actions. And they weren’t the only one, with another tweeting, “This trend of attending female artists’ sets just to attack them is disgusting and I hope everyone participating gets that energy BACK” Cardi B herself posted her reaction to the drink attack, writing, “Water and gas included… literally” with the hashtag “jealousy.” And this isn’t the first time she’s used her microphone to keep unruly concert-goers at bay. Another incident ensued while Cardi performed at Wireless Festival in 2022. After jumping into the crowd while performing her 2017 hit Bodak Yellow, Cardi B repeatedly hit a fan with the microphone. She later denied rumors that a fight had broken out, posting to Twitter to clarify: “It wasn’t NO FIGHT!” For all the latest entertainment news, be sure to check out our page here.

Cardi B explains why she name-drops at Atlanta restaurants after Keith Lee’s reviews – Dexerto
Cardi B explains why she name-drops at Atlanta restaurants after Keith Lee’s reviews Instagram: keith_lee125, iamcardibCardi B’s reaction to Keith Lee’s restaurant reviews in Atlanta has gone viral, as she admitted to name-dropping while eating out. Cardi B is so stranger to sharing her strong opinions online and neither is restaurant reviewer Keith Lee. Recently, both personalities weighed in on what it’s like to dine out in Atlanta, as Keith Lee’s review about not getting service struck a nerve in Cardi B. Since hearing of Keith Lee’s experience with not being served in ATL, Cardi B took to Instagram live to share what she does to ensure that she won’t be turned away from both takeout and dining in. Cardi B thinks Atlanta restaurants “don’t like people” Keith Lee attempted to dine at multiple restaurants in Atlanta and was turned away because of their rules of service. Being a hot spot for food, many places in the ATL don’t do takeout orders or allow reservations, making it difficult for people to find a place to eat. Though his reviews have been controversial, Cardi B weighed in on his recent experience with The Real Milk And Honey restaurant in ATL where he wasn’t offered service until he walked in and was recognized for his reviews. Typically, Keith Lee doesn’t give his name or show his face to the restaurant he orders from, but Cardi B was adamant on saying that she will 100% name-drop in order to receive service because the restaurants in ATL are so “busy.” Cardi B also mentioned that she doesn’t think restaurants in ATL care about making money because they seem to always be closed or perhaps, they just “don’t like people.” She continued, “They don’t do no pickup orders, they don’t do deliveries, they just don’t do sh*t.” She then proceeded to talk about how disappointing it is to find a restaurant that looks good via Google, just to find out that they’re closed on that particular day. Those who heard Cardi B’s vent session on Instagram live commented saying, “Ok, so, Atlanta restaurants are only Instagram cute… got it noted.” While another penned, “Cardi ain’t lying. A restaurant be closed on Tuesday at 2 p.m., no walk-ins, no calls, no dining, extra charge for everything, and have a limited menu. Baby, y’all just need to close.” Some people even joked about using Cardi B’s name while ordering in Atlanta — however, we’re not too sure how helpful that would be for the overall wait time.

Cardi B calls out TikToker for not showering: “B**ch, you don’t itch?” – Dexerto
Cardi B calls out TikToker for not showering: “B**ch, you don’t itch?” Cardi B/MoenOne TikTok user’s proud proclamation about only washing themselves once a week at most earned the scorn of Cardi B. For most people, bathing is a fairly regular occurrence. However, one TikToker made a splash after explaining how she only showered once a week, at most. In the last year, TikToker @cori.ontheroad started living and working out of her van while traveling around the country. After posting a TikTok explaining her personal hygiene, Cardi B just had to respond. “Like b**ch don’t you itch?” View this post on Instagram It all started when the TikToker replied to a comment explaining why she showers so infrequently. “I live out in nature with my dogs, alone most of the time, they don’t care how I smell,” she explained. “My remote coworkers through the screen don’t care how I smell. I guess I’m just a dirty girl. But I will say, my skin has been way healthier, my hair has been a lot less brittle, and healthier, and whatever, I’m happy.” Infrequent bathing isn’t necessarily a bad thing, especially if you’re living on your own and not bothering anyone else with your stink. But, Cardi definitely didn’t seem keen on the idea. “Besides the smell… like b**ch you don’t itch?” the rapper tweeted, before quickly deleting the post. But, not before it was saved and immortalized forever. Wassup with people saying they don’t shower ? 🤨 It’s giving itchy. — Cardi B (@iamcardib) August 10, 2021 It’s not the first time Cardi has called the great, unwashed masses out, either. Cardi B blasted for “job shaming” McDonald’s employee online – Dexerto
Cardi B blasted for “job shaming” McDonald’s employee online X: iamcardib / X: luvrboyottoAmerican rapper Cardi B has come under fire for “job shaming” after telling a McDonald’s employee to “get off” his break and make her a cheeseburger. Cardi B found herself in the hot seat after a series of posts on X (formerly Twitter) saw internet users accuse the 31-year-old of “job shaming.” The drama started after an initial tweet questioned, “At what point does making fun of Cardi B’s speech patterns become racist?” Thanking the poster for “defending” her, Cardi B shared that she would “never change” the way she talks as she “became famous” from being herself. She then dubbed her speech patterns a “multimillion-dollar accent,” only for another X user ‘The Dump‘ to hit back and tell the rapper to “Get off Twitter and get in the booth.” Posting a screenshot from The Dump’s profile that showed him working at McDonald’s, Cardi B assured that she was “hopping in the booth after I go to the gym, do this zoom, and get my pedi.” She then added, “Get off your break and make me a cheeseburger” — a comment not every internet user was pleased to read. “I hate when [celebrities] act like they been rich all their lives [sic],” one person wrote, calling Cardi B’s cheeseburger comment “crazy” and pointing out the rapper was “bent over for dollar bills every Saturday night” before finding success in the music industry. “I hate y’all!” However, Cardi B insisted her response to The Dump had nothing to do with “job shaming” at all; “He told me to go do my job and I told him to do his.” “We encouraging each other, babes,” the rapper continued, with her fans claiming she was “simply stimulating the economy.” “I mean he got the energy he put out; I don’t see the problem,” one person commented. Another said, “I’m screaming ’cause it’s just that simple… play with your food, not people. Money or not, a little kindness works both ways.”

Car vandal leaves Pokemon “calling card” at scene of the crime – Dexerto
Car vandal leaves Pokemon “calling card” at scene of the crime Daily MailA man who vandalized a car with white paint in Portsmouth, Hampshire, left an ominous Pokemon calling card at the scene of the crime. Ingrid, a woman from Portsmouth, Hampshire, has experienced repeated attacks on her Volkswagen Beatle since October 2022. Her blue car has been covered in white paint by an unknown assailant on multiple occasions, but the local police force theorizes she is the victim of mistaken identity. They’ve come to this conclusion as the vandal has written “Donna” on the hood of her car, which is her next-door neighbor’s name. Ingrid has written to the police claiming her neighbor is the target of these crimes due to a “grudge” and that their neighbor has been under attack since June of 2022. Ingrid claims her car was vandalized for the first time on October 14, 2022, and the attack cost her over £100 to fix and raised her annual insurance premium. And on Sunday, February 5, Ingrid’s car was vandalized again, but the culprit left more behind than white paint. Pokemon calling card left at vandalism crime scene As reported by Daily Mail UK, the vandal left behind a calling card after throwing white paint on Ingrid’s vehicle. But instead of a handwritten note or custom print job, they left behind an ominous Pokemon card. “Call for Backup,” the Pokemon’s move read. The card was of the Steel-type Klink from 2020’s Darkness Ablaze expansion. Sadly, while some cards sell for hundreds – or even thousands – of dollars, this Klink averages about $0.19 in pristine conditions. According to Ingrid, the local police haven’t been much help in throwing the vandal into the clink. Despite multiple reports from Ingrid over the last few months, and other alleged attacks committed by the same suspect, the case is still under investigation. “I am either going to have to sell the car or build a garage, which I have never needed before,” Ingrid stated, “I want my neighbours to move so hopefully they take the problem with them.”

Car thieves targeting Kia owners amid TikTok’s viral ‘Kia challenge’ – Dexerto
Car thieves targeting Kia owners amid TikTok’s viral ‘Kia challenge’ TikTok, PixabayTikTok users who own Kia vehicles are finding themselves targeted, as the viral Kia Challenge takes the app by storm. There have been plenty of confusing and bizarre TikTok trends in 2022. Whether its the rise of Minions or the ‘Think Big’ meme, neither of them are quite like the ‘Kia Challenge’. As the trend begins to remerge on TikTok, some users are finding themselves the victims of the ‘Kia Boyz’. Kia Boyz trend and Kia Challenge take over TikTok Last year, the rising theft of Kia and Hyundai vehicles grew to unprecedented levels in Milwaukee. While the thefts began to reduce in volume over time, TikTok has since reignited interest in the ongoing saga. According to TMJ-4 News in Milwaukee “auto thefts in Milwaukee through mid-June are down a bit from 4,398 in 2021 to 3,992 this year.” TikToker @ssacred_rebel unfortunately had her vehicle vandalized and stolen. While the TikTok user is located in Charlotte, North Carolina, the trend is clearly still alive. In a video detailing the ordeal, the TikToker said “there are two flat tires, and now my car is in the f****** tow yard.” Click here if the TikTok doesn’t load Click here if the TikTok doesn’t load The original post has been viewed over 10 million times, leading to the TikToker providing an update on August 5, 2022. The update came after some viewers were unsure whether her claims were true: “I was told it was a bunch of people who called this towing company to verify my story was real.” Many TikToker commenters have cited the ‘Kia Boyz’ as the main culprit for the crimes, who are an unidentified group of people targeting Kia and Hyundai vehicles. Due to a flaw within both of the brands design, it has allowed thieves to easily steal them. Addressing the ‘Kia Boyz’ directly, @ssacred_rebel said “to the Kia Boyz, a broke mindset will never make money!” Speaking with WMCH in April, Commander Duane Mabry of the Columbus Division of Police explained that the culprits are “peeling the column and using a USB — or whatever they can find nearby — to turn the ignition and then steal the car.”

Twitch streamer stunned as live car chase turns into GTA IRL NBC 5 DFW, Take-TwoDuring a Just Chatting broadcast, Twitch streamer garytheproducer reacted to a Dallas County car chase that looked too much like GTA IRL. Rockstar Games’ Grand Theft Auto franchise has long imitated and satirized the real world in some way, shape, or form. The brand’s satirical commentary on American culture, in particular, never fails to raise a few eyebrows and spark heated debate. As many are well aware, life has a funny way of imitating art, too. Be that as it may, it seems that sometimes life takes art a little too seriously. Streamer reacts to Dallas County car chase-turned-GTA IRL Popular Twitch streamer garytheproducer recently hosted a Just Chatting stream wherein he reacted to an erratic car chase in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Dallas police helicopters captured footage of the chase on Highway 175, as a dark-colored pickup truck raced down the highway in the wrong direction. The streamer and all who watched couldn’t mask their surprise when the truck suddenly spun around to park on the shoulder. And the situation grew more hectic when a white Silverado stopped alongside the vehicle to pick up the other driver and passenger. Unfortunately, a small dog exited the truck as well and ran away off-camera. Reporting from NBC 5 suggests the dog’s whereabouts are presently unknown. NBC 5 additionally notes the driver who sped into oncoming traffic stole the truck. Fortunately, two people in the tan-colored getaway vehicle have been apprehended. Police had yet to capture the third suspect as of November 9. Given the reported events of the car chase, the GTA IRL comparison doesn’t sound too far off the mark.

Captain Sandy explains how she’s changed since Below Deck debut – Dexerto
Captain Sandy explains how she’s changed since Below Deck debut BravoSome Below Deck fans criticized Captain Sandy Yawn during Season 10 for the firings she made in the absence of Captain Lee. Taking the wheel of a multi-million dollar superyacht is a tough job, and with that comes big decisions. So, what’s changed since she debuted on Bravo TV? Since joining Bravo’s hit TV show, Captain Sandy has become a household name in a way that not many superyacht captains would have imagined possible before Below Deck’s emergence. As an experienced navigator, she has shared some of her worst stories on the job, such as a fire on board and being chased by pirates on the ocean. During an interview with Forbes, she was asked about the changes she has experienced since making her debut in Below Deck Mediterranean and becoming a brand. Captain Sandy explains what changed since Below Deck fame “Honestly, it never entered my mind [brand]. When I got on the show, I realized that who I connect myself with – and I learned this when I got sober – really speaks volumes about who I am and how I walk through life. “I am very discerning about who I connect with because it has to really resonate with me, and it has to be authentic… If somebody hands me a product and says, ‘hey, I’ll pay you this much if you say you love the product,’ – I’m not going to do that. I’m going to try the product and see if I really like it, and then yes… I turn down a lot of stuff.” Watch the full interview below from Forbes, with this segment starting at 14:40. “Looking at the brand, I see myself as a business person that wants to do something with a purpose… then make money,” she added. “I am a yacht captain. I create dreams, and I get paid. It’s a big responsibility. Being on a TV show, now I’m creating something… but then there’s another layer where millions of people are watching so I’m a role model now. Let’s be good, Sandy, I think to myself.” In addition to that, Sandy noted that she has tried to stop swearing on-screen and composing herself in stressful moments in a way that perhaps she would not use to, mindful of the audience. Giving a note to viewers about when she is really angry on-screen, she hinted: “When I start saying the F-word, that’s when I’m really mad.” For more Below Deck news, guides, and updates – check out our page here.

YouTuber Logan Paul has also been heavily into the growing technology — so much that he’s made over $500k from the same project Larson is currently receiving backlash from. NFTs continue to grow in popularity every day, with more and more people buying into the new-age technology. We’ll have to wait to see if it becomes more accepted, though.

Captain Lee shares emotional message to Below Deck fans after health concerns YouTube/BravoBelow Deck’s Captain Lee Rosbach has shared a heartwarming message with fans after returning to close out the charter season. Captain Lee made a shocking exit from Below Deck earlier in Season 10 due to health concerns, and was replaced briefly by Captain Sandy Yawn. To the dismay of fans, Sandy sacked a couple of the boat’s interior crew, with stews Camille Lamb and Alissa Humber getting the boot. However, after receiving medical care, Captain Lee was able to return to the show in episode 14, ‘Big Deck Energy,’ and following the show’s airing, the fan-favorite leader shared a message with his followers. Captain Lee shares personal messages to Below Deck viewers In a post on Twitter, Captain Lee issued a statement saying how he was happy to be back and thanked fans for their support during his uncertain times. “Well, I’m back and damn glad to be that way. Thanks so much to everyone for all the kind wishes. You guys have no idea how much that means to me and my bride. You guys are the absolute best,” the Florida man wrote. “Gym in the AM, and to any I may have missed, catch you all on the flip side. Thanks again,” he concluded. Captain Lee reveals his favorite Below Deck memory – Dexerto
Captain Lee reveals his favorite Below Deck memory YouTube/BravoAfter a decade of service as the iconic Captain of Below Deck, Lee Rosbach has revealed what his favorite moment from ten seasons of the show is. Below Deck is a show full of unbelievable moments, mostly coming from the crewmates stuck in close quarters with each other. Normally, Captain Lee sits above the drama, and doesn’t get involved. But some of the show’s most emotional moments have always revolved around the usually stoic and reserved captain, and the times when he shows genuine emotion. Captain Lee recalls the best moment of Below Deck For Captain Lee, nothing topped the moment that he got to see his wife coming down the docks towards him in Season 5. Lee has been married to Mary Anne Rosbach for 45 years, and although she doesn’t spend much time on the show or on the ships Lee captains, she has made a couple of appearances. And in Lee’s eyes, the best of these appearances was in Season 5, when she visited to check in on him during a very stressful season. Recalling the moment, he said: “To have Mary Anne come out and give me just a little bit of a respite from the grind, is really a pleasure.” Captain Lee has remained a fan-favorite since the very first season, and has been the rock of the show for a decade of filming. This made the decision for him to leave the show over health concerns particularly controversial with fans, many of whom wanted him to stay on for much longer. Lee has always enjoyed speaking with fans and well-wishers on his Twitter account, where he speaks about his time on Below Deck fondly. Captain Lee confirms he was not invited back to Below Deck However, Lee revealed in a recent interview that he wasn’t invited back for the eleventh season of Below Deck, as producers had concerns about his developing health issues. He also maintained that he didn’t retire, and has not ruled out the possibility of making future appearances on the show. Lee said: “I did not quit. I did not retire. I was just not invited back. “I guess I can see their point of view. They really couldn’t get a straight answer from anyone on how my health was.” Fans quickly flocked in to say farewell to Captain Lee, as well as voice their anger at the decision. One fan tweeted out: “If Captain Lee’s been fired, I’m not watching”. Another said: “He’s the backbone of the show. I can’t believe he’s leaving because of a small health concern.” Captain Kerry Titheradge, who also served on Below Deck Adventure, will be coming in to replace Lee. Captain Lee responds to speculation about his Below Deck future – Dexerto
Captain Lee responds to speculation about his Below Deck future BravoBelow Deck’s Captain Lee Rosbach dropped out of Bravo TV’s cast for a limited time during Season 10 on medical grounds and ever since, his future status on the cast has been shrouded in mystery. Now, he’s responded to speculation. The captain returned in the final stages of Below Deck Season 10 to take back charge of his crew, following a string of firings made by his temporary replacement, Captain Sandy Yawn. The two caps have had a bit of back and forth on social media since he stepped off the luxury St. David yacht, taking issue with the handling of former interior workers Alissa Humber and Camille Lamb. Sandy has since said the idea of firing almost all of the stews was on the table at one point. During this time, thousands of viewers were counting down the days for the original captain to come back and take the lead, but as soon as he did… Speculation about him possibly leaving has surfaced again. Below Deck’s Captain Lee responds to “final season” speculation His return hasn’t put rumors to bed about his possible retirement. One Twitter user said: “Yes it certainly is great to have Captain Lee back. Got to enjoy since this is his last season.” He has since replied to the viewer on social media, speaking about the possibility of staying on in the future. “Thanks so much, but never say never,” he tweeted. “One never knows what the future may hold.” On February 28, his return to the series was confirmed on Twitter. He thanked fans and colleagues for their support, saying: “You guys are the absolute best.” Since then, Below Deck Med and Below Deck Down Under star Aesha Scott has made headlines, saying it is time for Lee to step aside for another captain. “Part of me is like he shouldn’t have even started to come back for this season anyway. He does have a lot of trouble walking, he is getting old, and I feel like it’s better to leave on a high than clawing on,” she said, noting it would be “embarrassing” for Rosbach. Fans have been divided about the topic ever since, fuelling speculation that it could be the end of his hellacious run ahead of Season 11 later this year. While he has replied to the idea publicly, it seems the rumor mill is going to keep turning until a concrete answer is given for the next cast. Captain Lee responds to Below Deck ‘retiring’ rumors around Season 10 finale – Dexerto
Captain Lee responds to Below Deck ‘retiring’ rumors around Season 10 finale Bravo TVCaptain Lee Rosbach has responded to rumors that he is hanging up his boots after the Below Deck Season 10 finale. Rosbach’s future has been in doubt all season long, after being forced out of his position as captain mid-charter season for the first time ever. On medical grounds, he was swapped out for Below Deck Mediterranean’s Captain Sandy, who went on to fire two members of his crew while he was gone. He admits now – even after getting angered by her decisions – that Sandy was in a difficult spot. He told The People previously that she ‘did him a solid’ stepping in on short notice. In another report, The People also reported he said it “feels right” to bow out. Captain Lee debunks reports of Below Deck retirement The Season 10 finale aired on March 20, with Lee speculated to be feeling it is the end of the road for him on the Bravo series. During the episode, he said: “Being a captain and being out on the water, there’s just something kind of magical out there. It feels right, it’s kind of like Christmas morning.” He added: “I really hate to say goodbye to any of this crew. I would stack them up against anyone, I really would. Over on Twitter, he responded to the report from The People, saying he was ready to retire. He said: “They didn’t talk to me about this piece.” In another tweet, he posted: “Well that’s a wrap on another season, I enjoyed this season but last two charters were special. Thanks to all who tuned in tonight, you know the drill, gym in the am and to anyone I missed, catch you on the flip side. Don’t read too much into anything, We’ll continue to have fun.” “Who said that, not me,” he added. In addition to that, he said: “I haven’t retired, in spite of what’s been reported by ‘sources’.” Rewatch Captain Lee’s comeback here, with Hayu. In another tweet, Captain Lee left fans with hope that his days on the show’s cast are not over. “Going on 40 years I’ve been a yacht captain, have I seen a lot of crazy s—?” he said during the episode, while he asked: “Is a 40-pound robin fat? Yeah.” He previously promised to come back and finish the season out – and for that, he did keep his word. “I made a promise that I would come back. That’s a promise that I delivered. I want people to look at the job that I’ve done and go, ‘He set the bar high, and he kept it high.’ God d—, what a ride. “I don’t know what’s gonna happen in the future, but the ocean’s always gonna be part of me,” he added. Captain Glenn teases Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 4 “coming soon” – Dexerto
Captain Glenn teases Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 4 “coming soon” Instagram/capt_glennshephard/BravoBelow Deck Sailing Yacht could be coming back sooner than you think, according to the show’s Captain Glenn Shephard. The fourth season of Below Deck Sailing Yacht is set to debut sometime in 2023, and with the finale of the flagship show ‘Below Deck’ set to air on March 20, fans may not have long to wait. Unlike the other shows in the franchise such as Down Under, Mediterranean and Adventure, Sailing Yacht mixes things up by following a crew on a smaller sailing ship – but that hasn’t stopped it from being a big hit. Following three successful seasons, a fourth is set to air in 2023, and Captain Glenn Shephard has already begun teasing its return. Captain Glenn hypes up return of Below Deck Sailing Yacht In an Instagram post, French-Canadian Captain Glenn shared a personal update aboard Parsifal, revealing he was currently in Spain and had been there since just before Christmas. After discussing the series streaming on Netflix in Europe, Glenn referenced how Below Deck Sailing Yacht was announced back in November, and teased that it would be coming back sooner than later. “I have a feeling that it should be coming soon. Don’t quote me, because I don’t know that for a fact, but I have a feeling it is,” he grinned. “And I just think it’s gonna be a great season.” Glenn went on to add that he would soon be going on a three-month break before returning in the summer. It’s interesting to note that the latest a Below Deck Sailing Yacht season ever began was March 1 for Season 2 while Seasons 1 and 3 both began in February. That said, it would make sense for the show to make its return once the flagship Below Deck has its season finale, so we could be seeing it back by April or even late March if we’re lucky. What is the ‘Can’t Help Myself’ art exhibit going viral on TikTok? – Dexerto
What is the ‘Can’t Help Myself’ art exhibit going viral on TikTok? TikTok: 2k.kxollA robot art exhibit by artists Sun Yuan and Peng Yu, titled ‘Can’t Help Myself,’ is going viral on TikTok, thanks to videos of the machine slowing down after years of being active. TikTok is home to just about every type of content under the sun, and the whole app is frequently united by huge trends that make waves on the platform, garnering millions of likes and views. While many are often touched by emotional stories about people, or perhaps animals, the latest thing people are feeling an emotional connection with is actually a robot. ‘Can’t Help Myself’ is a piece by Sun Yuan and Peng Yu that was commissioned for the Guggenheim Museum, and was first installed in 2016. The exhibit features a robotic arm placed behind clear walls, whose sole purpose is to contain a deep-red liquid within a certain area by scraping it towards itself. As a result, the red liquid gets smeared and splattered across the walls and floor. Click here if TikTok doesn’t load ‘Can’t Help Myself’ exhibit goes viral According to the Guggenheim Museum website, the piece uses “visual-recognition sensors and software systems to examine our increasingly automated global reality, one in which territories are controlled mechanically and the relationship between people and machines is rapidly changing.” However, as the exhibit was installed in 2016, over the years it began to slow down significantly. This led to it going hugely viral on TikTok, with people feeling sad for the machine. Click here if TikTok doesn’t load “It looks frustrated with itself, like it really wants to be finally done,” one comment with over 350,000 likes reads. “It looks so tired and unmotivated,” another said. Several videos of the piece have garnered millions of likes and tens of millions of views, and as the clips continue to circulate, there’s no doubt that people will continue giving their interpretations on the exhibit online.

Canelo Alvarez open to fighting and knocking out Jake Paul – Dexerto
Canelo Alvarez open to fighting and knocking out Jake Paul Instagram/canelo/jakepaulBoxing superstar Canelo Alvarez has weighed in on the possibility of fighting influencer Jake Paul and is open to the idea of knocking out The Problem Child. Jake Paul has taken the boxing world by storm, amassing a 5-0 record with knockouts against former UFC fighters Ben Askren and Tyron Woodley in the process. Amid Paul’s rise to boxing stardom, he has frequently called out those viewed as leagues above his own such as Conor McGregor, Floyd Mayweather and Canelo Alvarez. During a recent interview with DAZN, Canelo was asked about the possibility of fighting Jake Paul and revealed he would consider it, but there’s a bit of a condition. Canelo open to fighting Jake Paul, but there’s a catch “I always wonder why they ask me about Jake Paul, especially for that fight,” Canelo said, mentioning how he gets asked about the YouTuber quite a lot. “Maybe in two years, we could talk about that. Maybe [the fans] would love me for knocking him out,” he teased. “I hope he gets a lot better and does a great job. I hope he takes it seriously.” While some may think Jake would be disappointed in not getting a chance to fight Canelo right away, the influencer is actually on the same page as the boxing champ. Ahead of his planned return to the ring in August, Paul admitted that he wouldn’t stand a chance against Canelo just yet, but liked his chances a lot better if he had more preparation and fights under his belt. “Five fights from now, six fights from now, I would put on an awesome f**king fight and we’ll see what happens,” he explained, adding how he would like a match against Canelo to be his final fight. For his part, Canelo seemed to approve of Jake’s dream of fighting him. “It’s not crazy for him to think about fighting me, to dream about something like that. You need to put goals in your mind, dreams,” he said, speaking highly of the YouTuber. “Like I said, it’s a good dream.” We’ll have to see what happens in two years’ time and if the two boxing stars end up finally squaring off.

Canelo Alvarez explains what Jake Paul needs to make boxing fight happen – Dexerto
Canelo Alvarez explains what Jake Paul needs to make boxing fight happen Instagram: Canelo/JakePaulBoxing icon Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarez is seemingly open to fighting Jake Paul but says a clash with the social media star is still quite some time away. As Jake Paul continues to rack up wins inside the boxing ring, he’s also eyeing up the next level of competition. The 24-year-old might have started off with YouTubers but he’s already beaten a former NBA star in Nate Robinson as well as MMA icon’s Ben Askren and Tyron Woodley. He and his brother Logan have repeatedly poked Conor McGregor for a fight, but Jake has also called out professional boxers – most notably, Canelo Alvarez. The Mexican boxing great, who holds a 56-1-2 record, has criticized the YouTubers for getting into the fight game, but it seems he might be open to trading blows with Jake at some point down the line. Canelo was quizzed by paparazzi about possibly fighting the YouTuber at a later date and while he isn’t open to an Alvarez brothers vs Paul brothers double feature, he didn’t rule out a bout with Jake. “Not right now,” Canelo told the paparazzi after being asked if Jake has a chance against him according to TMZ’s translations. “He’s not ready.” The Super Middleweight champion pointed to his brother as a possible next opponent for Jake but for him and the YouTuber to square off, the former Disney star “needs to keep improving.” Canelo did wish Jake the best of luck in getting to the point where they might fight but he didn’t offer up anything else on a potential bout. The 31-year-old is on the YouTuber’s “boxing hitlist” alongside KSI, Gervonta Davis, and even his brother Logan, but he could have to face Tyron Woodley in a rematch before he moves on to anyone else. Jake has also stated that he wants to be a boxing world champion at some point but that is certainly a long way off right now.

Canadian woman travels to Montana to avoid high grocery prices – Dexerto
Canadian woman travels to Montana to avoid high grocery prices TikTokA Canadian woman has revealed that she travels to Montana to save around $300 per month on groceries. Grocery prices have exponentially risen in the past few years, with some projecting they will continue to increase throughout 2024. To show the dramatic rise in prices, Shelby & Dylan (@shelbyanddyl) recorded her husband’s reaction to the cost of different foods after he hadn’t been to a grocery store for a while. The sheer amount of inflation has even led Brandi Dustin (@kade1613) to drive from Roosville, British Columbia, to a grocery store in Montana to save money. Canadian woman saves $300 a month going to US for groceries Brandi revealed her grocery shopping routine on TikTok, explaining how she lives 45 minutes away from the nearest “grocery station” in Canada. Therefore, she drives only 15 minutes into the United States to shop for groceries. Brandi highlighted the cost differences for several items, including $6 cottage cheese, which would have set her back $8.99 in Canada. She also explained how meat prices in the United States are “insanely cheap” compared to her home country. Brandi showed off pork chops she bought for $4.76, ground beef for $6.90, and ground pork sausage for $3.74. “I know they say support local, but right now, everybody is suffering hugely, we’re all trying to make it, and it’s so much cheaper for me to go next door than it is to shop in my own country,” she said. “2 FOR FIVE DOLLARS??? just one of those pain relievers would’ve been $7 in Canada,” one commenter wrote. “Canadians are driving to the US for food and Americans are driving to Canada for affordable prescriptions,” another person said. On October 5, Canada’s Innovation Minister Francois-Philippe Champagne revealed that the government was “implementing solutions to bring relief” from the high grocery prices. Canadian “Karen” freaks out in Walmart for not getting hired – Dexerto
Canadian “Karen” freaks out in Walmart for not getting hired TikTok/supram23A “Karen” in Canada is going viral for absolutely losing it at a Walmart after they didn’t hire her. Karens have been going viral for years now with the internet quickly identifying women who freak out in public or spout nasty racist comments at others. Walmart has often been the site of many breakdowns and the latest example comes from Brampton, Ontario in Canada, but maybe not for reasons you’d expect. In a TikTok making waves on the platform, a “Karen” started yelling at staff and accused the store of “only hiring Punjabis.” Karen loses it after not getting hired by Walmart The video, which has been taken down and reposted several times since originally being uploaded and going viral, a woman can be seen crying about how she applied to work at Walmart, but was rejected. “You are only hiring Punjabis!” she screamed while holding a child. “It’s true! I applied here and got rejected!” At one point, a staff member accuses her of being racist, but that just made her snap more and make a startling claim about her own personal life. “My husband said he would marry me only for citizenship and then he called me a white trash girl. So don’t tell me about racism!” she sneered. “If you don’t want me to be racist, then you should be a nice person.” Following that, the Karen once again brought up how her application was rejected, but an employee, possibly a manager, blamed her attitude on why she wasn’t able to get the job. In the comments, users seemed to agree while others took her side. “I think she made it clear why no other business will now hire her,” one user remarked. “If she has an issue take it up with the manager,” said someone else. It’s not clear how long the argument lasted for or if police were called, but the incident has attracted quite a bit of attention, with the video amassing over 1.5M views in only a few days.

Canada to recall Prime Energy drink due to ‘excessive’ caffeine levels – Dexerto
Canada to recall Prime Energy drink due to ‘excessive’ caffeine levels Prime HydrationPrime Energy, an energy drink promoted by YouTube influencers Logan Paul and KSI, is seemingly being pulled from Canadian shelves due to its caffeine content. UPDATE July 13: This article has since been updated to reflect new comments from Prime founders Logan Paul and KSI. All Prime Energy drinks, not to be confused with Prime Hydration, that contain caffeine are seemingly being recalled by Health Canada. However, it’s worth clarifying Prime’s representatives emphasize that Prime Energy hasn’t officially launched in Canada yet. They also explained that the drink slated for the Canadian market will contain 140 milligrams of caffeine, compliant with Canadian regulations. In response to the recall notice, Paul took to social media and claimed that the only way Prime Energy was being sold in Canada was due to “illegal and unauthorized” imports. “The crazy part about that is, we don’t even distribute Prime Energy in Canada!” Paul explained. “So, how could it be recalled? The answer is: Illegal or unauthorized imports of the beverage.” “But of course, traditional media doesn’t care about that because they just want a headline. They want clicks. The level of misinformation currently being spread around Prime is actually insane.” KSI, too, responded to the Canadian Prime Energy recall, tweeting: “We’ve never even released Prime Energy in Canada, lmao.” Health Canada and the Canadian Food Inspection Agency are now addressing reports of shops distributing the drink without approval. Prime Energy is a favorite among the influencer duo’s young fan base but has drawn scrutiny of late from various health authorities due to its high caffeine content. The drink’s rising popularity has also caught the attention of U.S. Senator Charles Schumer, who recently labeled Prime Energy as a “serious health concern.” Prime Energy contains 200 mg of caffeine per 12 oz can in the U.S. Responding to those allegations, a Prime Hydration representative said its energy drink, which comes with a warning label that it is “not recommended for children under 18,” contains a comparable level of caffeine to other competitors. For reference, a regular can of Monster Energy contains 160 mg of caffeine, and a standard Red Bull has 80 mg of caffeine. This incident follows reports that emerged of a child in the U.K. experiencing a cardiac episode after consuming Prime Energy. The U.K. version of the drink contains 140mg of caffeine per 12oz serving, which is still above typical soft drink caffeine levels but under Canada’s permissible limit. While the unofficial Prime Energy recall is underway, Health Canada recommends a daily caffeine intake of 2.5 milligrams per kilogram of body weight for those under 18.

Can you zoom in on TikTok? How to enable zooming on videos – Dexerto
Can you zoom in on TikTok? How to enable zooming on videos Unsplash: NordWood ThemesBeing able to zoom in on a video on TikTok might be one of the most loved features of the app. But how do you do it? TikTok is constantly introducing new features to the app to respond to user concerns, such as the introduction of an optional screen time break feature that prevents people from scrolling for too long without realizing it. One feature that has been widely requested is the possibility to zoom in on a video, but has TikTok listened to this request? Can you zoom in on TikTok? Yes, you can zoom in on videos on TikTok. In June 2022, users reported that they had been given the ability to zoom in on videos by pinching on the screen as you would on any other app, i.e. allowing people to manually enlarge posts in order to see finer details or focus on a particular part of the screen. “Just in case you didn’t know, you can zoom in on TikToks now,” read the caption in one video with over 130,000 likes. “What the actual hell I was like ain’t no way. Then I zoomed and it worked my jaw dropped to the floor,” another user wrote as a comment on a different video reporting the same new feature. Can you unsend a message on TikTok? – Dexerto
Can you unsend a message on TikTok? Unsplash: Solen FeyissaThe direct messaging feature on TikTok is used by millions of users every day to interact with others on the app. However, many people often wonder if there is a way to delete a message after it’s been sent. If you’re anything like us, you spend a good amount of time scrolling through your FYP on TikTok. Sometimes, you come across a video that reminds you of someone, so you naturally head to the DMs to share it with them. But what if you send a video to the wrong person? Many of us have had that moment of panic when we realize we’ve sent a message to the wrong person — so, is there a way to delete a direct message once you’ve sent it? Can you delete messages on TikTok? Unfortunately, you cannot ‘unsend’ a message on TikTok. When you press and hold a message you’ve sent in the inbox tab, you are given the option to ‘Delete’ it; however, this doesn’t actually delete the message for the recipient. If you delete a TikTok message does it unsend it? The TikTok website previously stated: “If you delete a chat or direct message it only deletes it for you. The person you sent the messages to can still see the messages.” It’s not clear whether the ability to delete a message on both ends will be made available in the future, but for now, you’ll only be able to remove messages from your own device. Can you see who liked your TikTok video? – Dexerto
Can you see who liked your TikTok video? Unsplash: collabstrIf you’re a creator on TikTok, whether professionally or as a hobby, you might be curious to know who’s liking your content. Creators like Charli D’Amelio and Addison Rae initially became known through TikTok, garnering millions of followers, which has inspired many more to upload content and try to grow a following. The platform has several options when it comes to tracking the growth of your account and the number of views your videos are getting, for example, but are you able to find out exactly who has ‘liked’ your content? How to see who liked your TikTok Originally, the best way to see who had been liking your TikToks was to keep an eye on your notification tab, which you can find by tapping on the ‘Inbox’ symbol at the bottom of the screen upon opening the app. The only downside to this is that all your notifications are mixed together, which can make things difficult if you just want to see exactly who has liked a specific video. However, in March 2022, some creators revealed that they had been given access to a feature that would allow them to see exactly who liked their videos by clicking on the video itself. This new section appears as a dedicated ‘likes’ tab in the comment section of a video and allows people to view a list of everyone who has liked the post. To see whether you have access to the feature: Launch TikTok. – Click on the ‘Profile’ tab. – Tap on the video you want to check. – Click on the comment section. – At the top of the comments tab, click ‘Likes’ to go to the likes section. – It’s not currently clear whether everyone has access to the feature, but it shouldn’t be too long before it’s rolled out across the platform. Can you see who favorited your TikTok? Unsplash: Olivier BergeronTikTok users can “favorite” or bookmark videos they watch as a way to save them without having to download them to their devices. But can you see who bookmarked your TikTok video? TikTok has several different useful features and has been adding new ones constantly to make it easier for people to browse and interact with content on the app. One feature that is becoming increasingly popular is the ‘Favorites’ feature. This function allows people to bookmark videos so that they can access them at a later date through a particular section on their profile, and organize them into folders. However, just as with likes and profile views, you may be wondering whether you are able to see who has favorited a video you’ve posted. Likewise, you might also wonder whether somebody else can see if you’ve “favorited” their video. Here’s what you need to know. How to see who favorited your TikTok To see who has favorited your TikTok, go to your inbox and check under the Activity tab. There, you should be able to see who has bookmarked your videos. While it used to be that creators could not see exactly who had favorited their video, in August 2022, some users began reporting that they were receiving notifications about who specifically had favorited their post. Anyone can see how many people have favorited a given video by looking at the bookmark icon on the right-hand side of the video and reading the number underneath it. In 2022, TikTok also reintroduced a form of the profile views feature, much to the dismay of thousands of TikTok users, however this time it was introduced as an opt-in feature. Still, it means that more people than ever are conscious of how much of their TikTok activity is public. Can you see what someone else likes on Instagram? – Dexerto
Can you see what someone else likes on Instagram? Unsplash: Georgia de LotzIf you’re an OG Instagram user, you might remember the time when you could view the posts that accounts you followed had liked. But can you can still see what others like on Instagram in 2024? Instagram is one of the most popular ways to share photos and videos online, and has been for many years now. Users can post content in the form of stories, reels, and more, and interact with the range of content that’s available on the app. If you’re ever curious about what you’ve double-tapped throughout your time on the platform, Instagram allows you to easily view what you’ve liked via your profile page. You may have also wondered whether it’s possible to see what your friends or accounts you’re following have liked. Can you see what someone likes on Instagram in 2024? No, you can’t see what other people have liked on Instagram. Previously, there was a ‘following’ activity tab that gave users updates about what people they followed were interacting with on the app, including posts they liked and commented on. Not everyone was a huge fan of this feature though, and in October 2019, Instagram ended up removing it, meaning it’s no longer easy to track what content people are interacting with. You are, however, able to click on the likes beneath a photo to see a list of people who have liked it, as long as that option has been made available by the original poster, so this can be one way to see whether someone you know has liked a particular image. There are third-party apps that claim to help you find out this information, but it’s not clear how safe or accurate they are. If you want to know more about how to use Instagram, you can check out our other guides, including how to link your Instagram account to TikTok and how to see your first-liked Instagram post.
