  • Mizkif explains why Pokimane is big reason behind possible LA move – Dexerto

Mizkif explains why Pokimane is big reason behind possible LA move YouTube: PokimanePopular Twitch streamer Mizkif opened up about why he wants to move to Los Angeles and how Imane ‘Pokimane’ Anys plays a big part in that. Mizkif is going through some major life changes in 2021. In September, the popular streamer announced his hiatus from Twitch, following his public breakup with long-time girlfriend Maya Higa. On October 3, the popular variety streamer gave an update to fans where he explained why he wants to move to Los Angeles. The content creator revealed how moving to California would benefit his channel, and explained how Pokimane may influence him to make the jump. Mizkif reveals Los Angeles plans In the update video, Mizkif opened the discussion by stating that he loves to have other streamers on his live broadcasts, and has made it a major aspect of his channel. “I’m a streamer who likes to constantly have people on stream. It is my favorite thing to do. There’s a symbiotic relationship, when it comes to being a content creator and coming to my house,” he said. However, the Twitch personality then revealed that it’s become hard to do while living in Texas. “But the problem is this. Trying to get new people to come to my house is really hard because I’m in Texas. There isn’t enough networking out here for people to want to single handily go to Texas. There is 50 times more people in LA to collaborate with than in Austin.” Another reason the streamer listed for moving to California is OfflineTV star Pokimane. “I also want to move here for another reason – Poki. We do a podcast and it does really well. And I really do like doing the podcast. It’s very enjoyable to me, and I know she likes it.” Despite all the positives, Mizkif explained that he’s scared about the decision. “I’m scared to do it. I’m scared that you guys won’t like it. It’s a lot to think about,” he said, before listing the biggest cons about moving to LA. “It’s expensive. Too expensive. It’s just stupid, and I don’t have that kind of money.” The 26-year-old said he was looking into having his org, One True King, buy a content house in California. “I own an org. I would love for OTK to be able to buy a house. People from Austin can come to LA whenever they want. Where we get a content house but I still have my house in Austin. That would be cool.” Even though the Twitch streamer has thought a lot about moving, he assured fans that it’s “not happening” anytime soon. While he believes it’s the right move for his career, he clarified that he doesn’t think “it’s the right time.” Still, it appears there are big plans in the future for the variety streamer.

Mizkif isn’t actually facing legal action for refusing to bring his own trash in Twitch: MizKifPopular Twitch streamer Matthew ‘Mizkif’ Rinaudo told viewers he may have to go to court after a large number of HOA fines piled up due to a housemate’s negligence – but he’s since clarified it was just a prank. For those unaware, HOA stands for the Homeowners Association. This association essentially enforces the rules to maintain a given neighborhood. In Mizkif’s case, he said live on stream that his content house had gotten on their HOA’s bad side, running the risk of him having to go to court. Mizkif mentioned the situation in a recent conversation with Emily ‘Emiru’ Schunk while live, for Twitch chat to hear. Mizkif tells story about facing legal action over trash “Did you know that we got ten things in the mail for HOA? We’re getting in trouble a lot, to the point where I might have to go to court,” Mizkif explained. “What?” Emiru replied bluntly. He continued: “Yeah, so basically HOA is fining us every single week and we’re having problems with them. And the reason why we’re having problems with them is because we aren’t taking the garbage back into the house. “And that’s not my fault, because I bought the house, and I expect one of us to bring the garbage back in. Yeah, no, my HOA is really cringe. Like, really cringe. If you don’t bring the garbage back in two days, they will fine you.” The story seemed to create some panic, momentarily. “I don’t even know what day of the week garbage day is,” Emiru admitted. The two muted, then discussed the specific trash day. But shortly after they unmuted, Mizkif added “make sure on Tuesday, you have to bring the garbage back in.” Is Mizkif really facing legal action? After the situation was picked up by viewers and shared across social media, Mizkif reached out to Dexerto to confirm the whole thing wasn’t real. It was, indeed, a prank. The streamer even sent us a video of him bringing the trash in. So, if you were sitting there worrying about one of Twitch’s biggest streamers possibly facing legal action, your nerves should be put at ease.

Jinny is a hugely popular Korean streamer, gaining over 550,000 followers on Twitch since she started in 2017. In March 2020 she moved into fellow streamer Esfand’s home as a result of the global health crisis, and since then has made a great deal of content with him. Esfand is part of a streamer collective called OTK (One True King,) which also includes streamers such as Mizkif and Asmongold. On February 5, Jinny announced on stream that she would be leaving the US after doing some traveling. She explained that was going to had to leave for visa-related reasons anyway but had plans to return in the summer – though now she doesn’t know when she will return. Her various reasons for leaving, in addition to her visa, included that her brother didn’t come to the US to be inside all the time, saying that they would be be “coming back when things are better.” OTK’s Mizkif discussed Jinny’s tearful explanation on stream, and explained why he and other members of the group felt she needed to leave, despite “liking her a lot.” He began by sharing with his viewers that they are trying to be particularly careful about obeying current health regulations, as Asmon’s mom is vulnerable. However, he adds that “Jinny, I feel like doesn’t understand the situation as much as she should.” Mizkif goes on to explain why the group is particularly sensitive to people obeying the rules currently, as, “Asmon’s mom is super sick, Tips just had a baby, Russell has the immune system of a child.” He added that “she just flew in her brother, and people got upset about it. She thinks it’s best, and we think it’s best for her to go home. I feel really bad for Esfand.” Read More: Is Valkyrae joining OfflineTV? – Jinny mentioned in her stream that she discussed her decision a lot with Esfand, so it seems that her leaving mutually suits everyone for the time being. • Mizkif explains why he turned down $300k NFT sponsor: “What a waste” – Dexerto

Mizkif explains why he turned down $300k NFT sponsor: “What a waste” ActivisionPopular Twitch streamer Matthew ‘Mizkif’ Rinaudo has dropped a bombshell that he was offered $300k from an NFT sponsor, but he turned it all down over the fear of getting hate. NFT’s have been all the talk in recent times, growing wildly in popularity. With some JPEGs worth millions of dollars, celebrities and influencers are racing to get involved. Websites that are selling NFTs on the blockchain are offering hefty amounts of cash for promotion to celebrities and influencers. However, even with a life-changing amount of money on the table for a simple sponsored segment, Mizkif explained why he turned it all down. During a stream on November 5, Mizkif got onto the topic of money, when he dropped the bombshell that he recently turned down an insane NFT sponsor. The unnamed company supposedly offered the popular streamer $300k to promote NFTs, which he declined over the fear of being hated. “I actually turned down an NFT sponsor recently for $300k. I turned down a $300k sponsor. Do you want to know why? Because I didn’t want to get hate on LivestreamFails,” said the streamer Mizkif continued: “Now I’m like why the f**k am I such a pussy? Like why do I care, why didn’t I just f**king do it, what a waste. I was like oh I want to be the good guy.” The bombshell left the streamer’s chat lost for words, questioning Mizkif’s decision to turn down the insane amount of money. There’s serious money in NFTs, however, Mizkif simply didn’t want to risk the hate after previously calling out NFT sites. Twitch colleague Amouranth recently managed to gain over $120,000 for an OnlyPunks NFT, again demonstrating how lucrative they can be. It was not enough to tempt Mizkif though.

  • Mizkif explains why he regrets spending $60k on “embarrassing” OTK anniversary stream – Dexerto

Mizkif explains why he regrets spending $60k on “embarrassing” OTK anniversary stream Twitch: MizkifMatthew ‘Mizkif’ Rinaudo recently spent $60k on a one-year anniversary stream for OTK, and it turns out he regrets having spent so much money on it. On October 11, Mizkif provided an all-day broadcast to celebrate the one-year anniversary of his org, ‘One True Kings.’ He went all out for his viewers; rented an Airbnb, bought fireworks, cake, Chipotle food catering, and more. They even went as far as announcing their eighth member of the org, Cyr. However, the event was met with trouble as their Airbnb owner invited friends and family over without permission as well as technical issues with the camera. On October 13, Rinaudo explained that his stream cost him $60,000 and that he regrets having spent so much money on such a troublesome event. Mizkif regrets spending $60k While live on October 13, Mizkif explained: “What bothers me the most is that I spent $60k, then Cyr went live with just a backpack to stream a game of Jenga and it was way better than mine.” Read More: Is Elon Musk coming to Genshin Impact? – Rinaudo mentioned that he told the newest OTK member to go live so he could raid and give him more viewers, and was happy his friend had a successful broadcast that garnered even more viewers than the official stream. The creator went on to explain that they went as far as hiring a production team that would organize the activities for the day. However, that didn’t happen: “They told me nothing. Me and Esfand walked around with our heads cut off, so confused on what to do.” Luckily, Sodapoppin was there to help figure out activities during the event. Mizkif said: “Luckily Chance was there, but why did we have to figure it out ourselves? It’s embarrassing.” Matt went on to explain that they won’t do big events like their anniversary stream anymore. They are going to buy another backpack full of mobile streaming equipment so the OTK creators can all provide simple content together as friends. It appears they have learned that a high-quality stream may not always be required, assuming you have the personality and talent to entertain with just the bare minimum production.

  • Mizkif explains why he turned down $10m a year gambling sponsorship – Dexerto

Mizkif explains why he turned down $10m a year gambling sponsorship Twitch: MizkifTwitch streamer Mizkif has revealed that he was offered a $10 million a year sponsorship by an online gambling company. Although the money was extremely tempting, Mizkif decided to turn down the offer as it would have required a major life change. As with many of Twitch’s biggest stars, Mizkif is no stranger to being offered whopping amounts of money from famous businesses in return for promotion. However, Mizkif has shared that there was one mind-blowing offer from an unnamed online gambling company that left him feeling very conflicted, given the controversy surrounding the topic. With $10 million a year on offer in exchange for 15 hours a month of promotional material, Mizkif admitted that “as a human being” the offer was incredibly tempting given all the good he could use that money for. Ultimately, he turned the offer down and explained why to fans during his April 24 livestream. Mizkif’s $10 million sponsorship deal Mizkif responded to his appearance in the YouTube video ‘The Puppets of Online Gambling.’ In the clip, taken from one of his previous streams, Mizkif shared that he was offered $35,000 an hour to promote an online gambling website. However, Mizkif turned down the offer saying “the biggest problem” he had with the offer is the effect it would have on his ‘impressionable’ viewers. “You guys look at us as people you look up to,” the streamer said. “It just feels weird.” Mizkif revealed that he had once again been approached by an unnamed gambling website that would have seen him make $10 million a year. Despite his issues with the topic, Mizkif admitted that he was tempted by the idea. “You have to understand that I am a human and that I am also f**king 27 years old. To see these numbers…I’ll be blunt with you. Did I think about and consider doing it? Yes, I did.” Mizkif explained that had he taken the deal, the money would have been “life-changing” not only for his family but for others given how he would have donated some of his millions to charity. Yet, he later decided to turn the offer down. As well as his issues with online gambling, Mizkif explained that another reason why turned down the offer was it would have required him to make a huge lifestyle change. “The biggest problem I had with it was I would have to move to Canada. I was like ‘I don’t want to go to Canada, I don’t want to be alone.’ I would never do it.” The dispute over the morals of content creators livestreaming and promoting online gambling continues to rage among the streaming community. But, Mizkif has once again made his standing on the issue perfectly clear.

Mizkif explains how he’s the reason Sodapoppin “found love” with Veibae Twitch: Mizkif / SodapoppinChance ‘Sodapoppin’ Morris and VShojo star ‘Veibae’ have been the “power couple” of Twitch of the last week. However, it’s Mizkif who is laying claim to their ‘relationship’, with the star streamer saying he’s the reason they “found love.” On January 22, Soda dropped a massive hint that he’s in a relationship with Veibae, a popular VTuber signed with VShojo. However, not being one to endorse parasocial interactions with viewers, he brutally roasted a fan who wrote him a heartfelt message about it. That doesn’t mean he hasn’t been enjoying spending time with his new love interest, though. The two have been playing games together non-stop for weeks now, and Miz believes it’s all thanks to him. “Dude, I found Chance love,” said Miz. “Chance met Vei on Parasocial, and then they started hanging out. They started hanging out on Discord calls all night. Then they started playing League of Legends all night.” Read More: Mizkif admits Twitch fame has lost its shine – Since then, the two have been inseparable. I actually [made] someone have a relationship.” After enjoying his time playing Cupid, Miz also flirted with the idea of helping others find love by hosting a dating show. After pausing to think about it for a moment though, he changed his mind, claiming it would be too much work. “A dating show sounds stressful. I don’t want to do that. We already have enough coomer content. Do we really need a dating show on top of that?”

  • Mizkif explains why $10m isn’t enough for him to go to YouTube Gaming – Dexerto

Mizkif explains why $10m isn’t enough for him to go to YouTube Gaming YouTube Gaming/YouTube: MizkifPopular Twitch streamer Mizkif has explained why $10m isn’t enough money for him to go to YouTube Gaming, saying the platform is missing a lot of features that might make him change his mind. Back in August 2021, DrLupo announced that he had signed an exclusive contract with YouTube Gaming that saw him leave Twitch after almost 10 years. Soon after, TimTheTatman and Ludwig followed suit. These high-profile Twitch streamers leaving for YouTube sparked discussion about the platform, including the Tatman himself who said YouTube Gaming is better than Twitch. In a recent video, Mizkif revealed that $10,000,000 isn’t enough to get him to leave Twitch for YouTube — and explained why. Mizkif explains $10m isn’t enough to switch to YouTube Mizkif and his community talked about the recently rumored Twitch changes during his broadcast, leading the creator to upload a video regarding the topic. During the stream, he mentioned that it would take a “fat check” for him to move to YouTube Gaming. Shortly after, a chatter asked if he would do it for 10 million dollars. “10 million? No way. I’d rather gamble and stay with Twitch, to be honest with you,” he explained. (Topic starts at 4:55 in the video) Mizkif has hinted at what it would take for him to switch in the past and in the video, he went into more detail. “If YouTube starts to make good progress and things start happening like ratings, a live section, and a directory, my pay for going over there would be less and less,” He explained. “Until then, it will be more.” It’s no surprise that Mizkif is hesitant to change platforms right now in his career. With nearly two million followers and an average view count of 43,840 — he’s doing pretty well for himself.

Mizkif explains how he wound up in a mental hospital Mizkif, Twitch / FreepikPopular Twitch streamer ‘Mizkif’ provided fans with a grim update via Twitter on July 24, claiming that he was “stuck” in a mental hospital – and now, he’s finally given fans the backstory on exactly why he was admitted, in the first place. While Mizkif’s initial Tweet claimed that he had suffered symptoms of a panic attack, he likewise stated that he’d been in a mental hospital for “the past few days” – a development for which he offered no explanation. However, he finally spilled the beans on his hospital journey during a Twitch stream on July 26, admitting that his description of his symptoms had led to a serious misunderstanding with EMTs. They dont let you have phones here so i gotta make this quick. Heart rate was over 150, panic attack, threw my cat. Now ive been stuck in a mental hospital for the past few days. I should be out tomorrow. I miss you all so much. pic.twitter.com/hwxkaAbqe1 — Mizkif (@REALMizkif) July 24, 2019 Mizkif explains his trip to a mental hospital According to Mizkif, he’d claimed that he’d felt like he was “going to die” while in an ambulance, prompting medical staff to admit him to a mental ward. “I said something along the lines of, ‘This sucks, I feel like I’m gonna die,’” the streamer explained. “…They have to take that seriously. …They are liable. Once you say that, anything about death like that, you are liable.” Mizkif went on to claim that he’d been made to sign a waiver that required him to speak with a psychiatrist, which saw him transferred to a mental hospital without access to his phone or outside contact outside of regular visiting hours. Thankfully for Mizkif, he wasn’t alone in his impromptu psych ward visit: fellow Twitch streamer Maya booked a last-minute flight to New Jersey after being made aware of his condition – although she didn’t plan on not being able to stay with him at the hospital. Mizkif’s concerning heart condition While Mizkif has since been released and is back to his regularly scheduled streaming, this wouldn’t be the first time he’s suffered the heart-related symptoms that saw him take a ride in an ambulance. The streamer has previously mentioned that he suffers from a heart condition known as viral myocarditis, which can weaken the organ, lead to an abnormal heartbeat, and even result in death. Despite the apparent severity of his condition, Mizkif remains positive, and even made hilarious jokes during his story about the debacle, letting fans know that he is safe, sound, and stable.

  • Mizkif defends Tommyinnit after “pathetic stans” try to cancel Minecraft star – Dexerto

Mizkif defends Tommyinnit after “pathetic stans” try to cancel Minecraft star Twitch: Mizkif / YouTube: tommyinnitMizkif has attempted to defend Thomas ‘Tommyinnit’ Simons from “pathetic” Minecraft stans, after the star’s followers tried to cancel him over a joke about lesbians, claiming that, while it was edgy, it was mainly minor and inoffensive. Tommyinnit’s popularity is on the rise, but it seems to be a double-edged sword, as he keeps finding himself roped into endless battles with Minecraft stans. They’ve slammed him for everything, including poking fun at Johnathan ‘Jschlatt’ Schlatt’s past controversies to asking Olajide William ‘KSI’ Olatunji for a shoutout in response to a tribute tweet he posted about a deceased rapper. Now, he’s come under fire again, but this time it’s a little more serious, at least in the eyes of some fans. Essentially, Tommy responded to a fan who called him an “honorary lesbian,” joking that he “doesn’t know” if he is a lesbian or if he would “qualify” as a lesbian but “hopes” that he does. His comments have been labeled as “lesbiphobic” and “really damaging” to the LGBTQIA+ community, even from those who admit they’re “big fans” and believe he’s a “great ally.” However, Mizkif doesn’t agree at all. “Is that it? Are you actually serious?” he said. “This is just so pathetic. How is he getting canceled for this?” He went on to say that streamers like Tommy can’t “have fun” and “enjoy themselves” without having the possibility of getting canceled “every [time] they talk.” He also brushed the comments off as a “minor joke.” “What is he supposed to do? What can he do? He can’t do anything!” he added. “The reality is, these kids… they love doing this kind of sh*t.” Mizkif isn’t the only one to hold that view. Charlie ‘MoistCr1TiKaL’ White called out Minecraft stans for being “toxic” and “unhealthy” and lamented over the fact that Tommy needed to seek therapy because of them. Still, some fans were offended by the joke, and while Mizkif doesn’t believe it warrants Tommy getting canceled, others pointed out that they’re only trying to educate people on the matter.

Mizkif has been on a weight loss journey over the last few months, sharing the highs and lows on Twitch. However not everyone believes his development has been ‘natural’. He has been accused of using steroids, something he vehemently denies. The Twitch star opened up on how the allegations came out of nowhere, and they’re nothing more than pointless rumors. “I don’t know if you guys have noticed over the past few months, there has been rumors,” he said. “There are rumors that I am on steroids. There are rumors that I am called ‘Roidkif’ now. “I don’t know how that happened. “One girl said she saw me at the gym, tweeted about it and said I look like I’m having roid rage. No I am not on roids but there are conversations about it and there is a Reddit post about it.” Mizkif then goes on to explain what his current exercise and diet entails, and how a long history of lifting weight is playing a big part in how he has been able to see such steady progress in recent months. “How about you say that I’ve been lifting for 12 years, that I’ve been lifting on and off for 12 years. I will say this, I have been working out like crazy. That’s all I do. I go to the gym every single day, I work out the whole time.” The content creator then wraps up the conversations by confirming that he has “lost about 18 to 19 pounds.”

Mizkif confirms plans to sell content house and teases Knut taking over Twitch: MizkifTwitch star Mizkif has confirmed plans to sell his content house in Austin, Texas and teased the possibility of Norwegian streamer Knut taking over the property. Over the last few months, Mizkif has been rather quiet across his social media, video, and streaming platforms. Allegations rose in September that the Twitch star had helped cover up a sexual assault, leading streaming group OTK putt him on leave so they could investigate the claims. OTK revealed on December 31 that there was no evidence to support the allegations, and announced Mizkif had been reinstated into the content org — but that’s not the only changes happening for the Twitch star. During a January 2 stream, he revealed plans to sell his Austin, Texas content house and has teased the possibility of Norweigian Twitch star Knut buying it. Mizkif confirms plans to sell house, Knut might buy it During the stream, he explained that he has told people he wants to sell his house and move. “Knut messaged me with a tryhard [emote] and was like, ‘Why don’t I buy your house?’” he explained. “I kinda think that’s funny if Knut buys my house and he starts streaming in here.” “For him to move in here and stream in this room, I don’t know what will be back in those bins besides C4 and some other sh*t, but I was kinda like, ‘Thats a good idea.” Mizkif added: “Now, he did undercut my house about 50% of what I said to him, but we’ll probably just do another Camp Knut and he’ll be able to pay for it in no time. We’ll see. Right now we’re in negotiations.” He didn’t give any timeline on when the house may be sold, or what may happen with the other creators that are currently living with him. • Mizkif defends Ice Poseidon after Karl Jacobs ‘scapegoats’ him in apology – Dexerto

Mizkif defends Ice Poseidon after Karl Jacobs ‘scapegoats’ him in apology Twitch: Mizkif / YouTube: Ice PoseidonTwitch star ‘Mizkif’ has defended controversial streamer Paul ‘Ice Poseidon’ Denino after he was dragged into social media drama regarding Karl Jacobs. The Minecraft star apologized for ‘supporting’ Poseidon, but Mizkif claims it was a scapegoat. Ice Poseidon was dragged into the spotlight yet again after Karl Jacobs apologized to his fans for supporting the controversial streamer’s content in years gone by. “I just want to make it clear, a million percent I don’t condone anything they’ve done. I guess I did actively support bad content creators at one point and I’m sorry,” he said. However, Mizkif believes that Jacobs’ explanation of the past didn’t need to ‘scapegoat’ Ice Poseidon. Mizkif claimed that “90% of your [favorite] streamers watched Ice Poseidon,” and that “no one has a clean slate.” “Who else do we have on our list chat, of people who used to watch Ice Poseidon? You’ve got me, you’ve got JustMinx, Summit1g, Shroud, xQc stream sniping him and going to his house. Sodapoppin, Mitch Jones, Asmongold, Trainwrecks. Greekgodx sat on his couch for two months,” he said in a recent Twitch stream. Mizkif, who used to watch almost every Ice Poseidon stream, claims Denino has done a lot of growing up, and his content is a lot more mature than it once was. “Everyone just sh*ts on him, and I get it. I totally understand why people attack Ice for the way he acted years ago, but it’s been four f**king years since this sh*t. If you really care and look at his content, you would know that Ice…as years went on, he got less edgy.” “When he first started in Runescape, it was the most racist, edgy sh*t I’ve ever seen in my entire life. I cannot defend that. “As time went on, it did get way less edgy. Ice grew up as a person, and I’m sure he did with the internet as well.” Poseidon, who now streams on YouTube after his permanent Twitch ban, said he was “sick and tired of being everyone’s scapegoat.” Mizkif believes that Ice Poseidon has grown, and that the rest of the internet has to own up to the fact they acted in the same way when they were younger. “We’re progressive, we’re growing. People don’t want to admit they did that sh*t, [but] they’re straight up liars.”

  • Mizkif claims Trainwreck should be banned as Twitch gambling feud gets personal – Dexerto

Mizkif claims Trainwreck should be banned as Twitch gambling feud gets personal Mizkif (YouTube)/Trainwreck (Twitch)As Twitch’s largest streamers call for gambling to be banned from the platform, Trainwreck and Mizkif threw serious allegations at one another during a feud on Twitter. On September 18, accusations came to light claiming that Twitch partner SlikeR had scammed his friends, viewers, and fellow streamers out of thousands of dollars over a period of two years. And in an apology on stream, SlikeR admitted to these accusations, stating that the scams were a result of his serious gambling addiction. Following this revelation, some of Twitch’s largest creators – including Pokimane and Mizkif – called for Twitch to ban gambling from the platform. While many streamers rallied around this idea, others weren’t on board. Most notably, Twitch streamer and extensive gambler Trainwreck stood against the idea of banning gambling from the streaming service. Viewers have watched Train win and lose millions – lose more than win – and he almost constantly advises his fans not to gamble. Trainwreck and Mizkif get personal during gambling feud Passionate stances regarding the gambling issue became visceral after Asmongold called Twitch a “disgrace” for not banning SlikeR after the news of his actions came to light. Train responded, claiming that Asmon’s “pals” are using the SlikeR situation to “twist” the narrative and “wage war” against him. He also stated, “And we both know deep down why the insecure little man is doing this.” The “little man” presumably refers to Mizkif. In a now-deleted tweet, Mizkif responded stating, “If we’re going to deplatform people for scamming others, shouldn’t we have banned you for jolt coin a few years back?” Jolt Coin is a cryptocurrency that Trainwreck was affiliated with in 2017. Trainwreck would respond with hefty allegations of his own, stating, “Are you going to send Maya and Mitch to railroad and blackmail me like you did those girls to cover up all those sexual assaults you f**king scum bag piece of sh*t?” He later clarified that Mizkif was not the assaulter, but he was instead claiming that Miz had “orchestrated the cover-ups for his friends.” Mizkif would also clarify in his offline chat on Twitch that Train wasn’t accusing Miz of sexual assault. He wrote, “No he’s talking about Slick,” in one message and, “When Maya and Mitch went over to talk to Adrianna Lee” in another. While their online monikers are similar, Mizkif is referring to a streamer named CrazySlick. Adrianna Lee recounted an uncomfortable experience they had with Slick in a TwitLonger they posted in July of 2021. She soon followed up with a Twitch stream of her own on September 19 to further detail the encounter. Lee claimed she was passed out when Slick entered her room and touched her chest inappropriately, allegedly to “check her pulse.” According to Lee’s retelling, Mizkif and Maya then “asked [her]” to downplay the situation when going public in that 2021 Twitlonger, as to help save Slick’s reputation. Refuting the claims in a Twitter thread that was quickly deleted, Slick claimed he has “never sexually assaulted anyone and never will.” From his perspective, he “[went out of his way] to check on someone” and in doing so, has been hit with “unfair” accusations. “I will be getting a lawyer ASAP,” he added. “I never checked her pulse on her chest, I checked her neck and wrist only.” Mizkif has yet to address these allegations on Twitter, though a resurfaced clip from 2021 has been forced back into the spotlight. At the time, he acknowledged the incident as “sexual harassment” then looked to downplay it. “It’s not really a big deal, I don’t think people really gave a sh**” Mizkif claimed before abruptly ending his stream in light of being questioned. Mizkif claims xQc had 7 hotels with butler service during Las Vegas TwitchCon Twitch: xQc, Mizkif. UnsplashTwitch streamer Mizkif claimed in a recent stream that xQc was given rooms in seven hotels for TwitchCon Las Vegas and that he has access to butler and limo services as part of this deal, with the former calling this show of wealth “mind-boggling.” When it comes to streaming and content creation, many big names are gifted cars, properties and more. Particularly those who involve themselves in gambling and other types of money-making habits. While popular content creator xQc was previously one of the biggest names on Twitch, he jumped ship to up-and-coming streaming platform Kick earlier in 2023 in a non-exclusive deal. Currently, Mizkif is still staying loyal to Twitch, Dexerto reporting just days ago how Mizkif believes the new Twitch CEO Dan Clancy is one of the best things to happen to the platform in years. In a recent stream, Mizkif revealed that fellow content creator xQc actually had seven hotels he was booked into while the two of them were at the recent TwitchCon Las Vegas event. With Mizkif claiming that he had no idea if xQc had even been staying in any of them at all. “xQc, I’ll give you all the lowdown. He has seven hotels”, began Mizkif. “We have no idea if he is even at any of those hotels or where he is. The reason why he had seven hotels is because when you gamble they give you free stuff and those hotels he told me come with butler service and they come with everything including a limo ride if you want to go around. “They come with everything you could possibly imagine. What’s crazy is I saw xQc sprinting and running through traffic when he had a limo service.” For all the latest entertainment news, be sure to check out Dexerto’s full coverage here.

  • Mizkif claims he suffered major hair loss during Twitch hiatus – Dexerto

Mizkif claims he suffered major hair loss during Twitch hiatus Twitch star Mizkif has claimed he suffered major hair loss before his return to streaming this year. Amid an ongoing investigation into allegations that he helped cover up a sexual assault, Mizkif took a step away from streaming in October 2022. Being placed on leave and put under investigation by One True King — the organization which he helped co-found — the Twitch star went on a hiatus across all social platforms. Following the conclusion of the investigation, where the 27-year-old was found not guilty, he’s since returned to streaming as usual. Mizkif opens up on major hair loss Now, the streaming star has opened up about his struggles, revealing he suffered from major hair loss before his return to Twitch. In his January 20 broadcast, Mizkif shared a picture of his hair three months ago — around the same time he was facing backlash from the community. Comparing pictures from then to now, Mizkif noted a key difference specifically in his hairline. “Isn’t that nuts? Isn’t that actually kind of crazy? This is when I’d go through my hair and get like 500 hairs,” he claimed. Mizkif was also recently accused of taking steroids — which he has since denied — and as usual, his fans took the opportunity to poke fun. “Stop using steroids,” one fan joked. It’s worth noting that it’s likely that his hair loss was due to the overwhelming stress he was under at the time. It hasn’t exactly been a smooth return to the Amazon-owned platform for Mizkif. The OTK co-founder went viral during one of his first streams back after dropping a bench press on himself while attempting a new personal best. He was also hit with a ban from Twitch for “Aiding Account Suspension Evasion” before being quickly unbanned 24 hours later.

  • Mizkif claims Pokimane and Alinity have received “hundreds of death threats” – Dexerto

Mizkif claims Pokimane and Alinity have received “hundreds of death threats” Twitch: Mizkif / Instagram: @pokimanelolMizkif talked about the hardships female streamers go through, including harassment from obsessed fans, and claimed Pokimane and Alinity have received “hundreds of death threats.” Being a popular streamer has its perks, but it isn’t all sunshine and rainbows – especially for female streamers. In addition to gender biases and some people hating on them for their success, they also experience lots of harassment, death threats, and gross invasions of privacy. In the past year, Jadeyanh, Jinnytty, Nico, Fuslie, Sweet Anita, and Valkyrae reported scary experiences with obsessed fans, including everything from doxing, harassment, and stalking to death threats. The list goes on. It’s a serious issue that pops up time and time again. Mizkif talked about it in his latest stream and claimed Imane ‘Pokimane’ Anys and Natalia ‘Alinity’ Mogollon have received “hundreds of death threats.” “All the time, you get these obsessed guys that are threatening women constantly. And honestly, that is the scariest part. And I know women get a lot of shit, but I guarantee you your favorite girl streamer… I guarantee you they’ve gotten these threats before,” he said. “No matter how many hearts you put in your message to them… it doesn’t matter. They get these f**king threats. You’re out of your mind if you don’t think Pokimane has gotten hundreds of death threats over the years, dude. She’s not only a girl. She’s a hated girl.” “There [are] girl streamers, and there [are] girl streamers that are massively hated. She probably gets… her and Alinity. I guarantee you they probably have lockers full of [death threats]. They probably have their own locker at the police station.” “That is the worst part of streaming to me. It’s the feeling that someone can invade your privacy and stalk you and do weird sh*t.” Mizkif felt strongly enough about it to educate his viewers on the matter. And if the claims are true, the numbers are staggering. Hopefully, the more it’s talked about, the more people understand the full extent of the problem.

  • Mizkif claims coming back to Twitch will be “scary” after breakup with Maya – Dexerto

Mizkif claims coming back to Twitch will be “scary” after breakup with Maya YouTube, MizkifMatthew ‘Mizkif’ Rinaudo claimed in a recent video that it will be “scary” returning to Twitch after announcing his recent breakup with fellow streamer Maya Higa. Maya and Mizkif were together for just over two years, but they unexpectedly announced on Twitter they were splitting up. The duo originally kept their relationship a secret from their Twitch fans, but accidentally confirmed their rumored romance in the middle of an unboxing stream in late 2019. With their announcement, the pair both mentioned that they were taking a break from content creation to make sure they were both properly taken care of and happy with the result of the separation. On September 23, Matthew uploaded a video with an update regarding the two. Mizkif’s “scary” come back to Twitch Rinaudo started off his September 23 video with a quick recap. He said: “A lots happened this past week, and it’s been crazy. Maya and I are not exactly the happiest right now, but we’ll get through it.” The OTK founder went on to explain that there’s been a lot to take care of after the split, to make sure both parties are happy. “It’s going to be a scary thing for me and Maya to continue moving forward because she was my rock with Twitch,” he continued, explaining that whenever someone would think of him, they would normally think of her there with him and it feels weird not having her there anymore. Rinaudo went on to explain that the decision was talked about for a while before they decided to make it official, while also doubling down on the fact that there was no cheating, no drama – and it was mutual. https://youtu.be/78oUN6QTKxI The creator explained that he expected a lot of hate with his announcement, but was met with a large amount of support for both of them. Mizkif also claims he needs it a little longer, too, as it has been a stressful period. He said: “I miss you guys a lot, I really do, and I will hopefully see you soon,” right before ending the video and putting extra emphasis on ‘hopefully’. Rinaudo has also opened up his comments on the video for any questions people may have, and stated he will answer them in an upcoming, more detailed, video that will be uploaded to his YouTube channel. The OTK founder will not return until both parties are settled and happy. However long it takes, it’s certain his community will show up to support him for his comeback stream.

  • Mizkif claims Greekgodx offered to join him on stream for $10k an hour – Dexerto

Mizkif claims Greekgodx offered to join him on stream for $10k an hour Twitch: Pokimane/ GreekgodxTwitch star ‘Mizkif’ has revealed that following on from his dispute with Dimitri ‘Greekgodx’ Antonatos, his fellow streamer only agreed to a reunion in exchange for a whopping payoff. Greekgodx received a sudden Twitch ban on June 28. Although the reason for the ban hasn’t been confirmed as of writing, some suspected it was due to some harsh comments he made about his former friend Mizkif. Mizkif subsequently responded claiming Greek’s outburst was due to the fact that he took his “spot” on Twitch and became more popular. He added that after the fight he reached out to Greek to try and let bygones be bygones. However, Greek supposedly told him that it would only be possible if Mizkif paid him “$10,000 an hour” to appear on his stream. Mizkif shares Greekgodx messages following fight On July 3, Mizkif joined his fellow Twitch star Pokimane when he opened up about the events following his public dispute with Greekgodx after he was suspended from the Amazon-owned platform. “I messaged Greek,” He claimed. “I said ‘are you ok with what’s going on?’ His answer was ‘Miz, you feel off […] if you want me on stream it’s gonna cost you $10,000 an hour. But, until you’re willing to pay that, don’t ever talk to me again.’” Although, Miz quickly quipped back supposedly saying “only $10,000? Yikes, you fell off.” After Pokimane questioned whether Miz was “trolling,” she then read the messages for herself and confirmed his story. She added that Greek finished the conversation by telling Miz to “be gone.” Referring to Greek’s controversial comments shortly before his ban, Mizkif added: “I have no idea what happened to him. I really don’t. Did he have those ideas and stuff two or three years ago? No.” It’s still been not been confirmed whether Greek’s comments about Mizkif were what led to his suspension from Twitch. However, it’s clear the drama has had a huge impact on their friendship.

  • Mizkif captures heartwarming proposal live on Christmas stream – Dexerto

Mizkif captures heartwarming proposal live on Christmas stream Matthew ‘Mizkif’ Rinuado has captured the moment a heartwarming proposal right on the stroke of Christmas Day, clearing out the Rockefeller Center ice rink to have the occasion to themselves. Proposing under the mistletoe and the snow on a balmy Christmas Eve, just as time ticks over onto Christmas Day, is something straight out of the movies. Bringing people together is what Christmas is all about, and there’s no commitment bigger than marriage. It makes the holiday season one of the most popular times to confess to your lover year-round, with many people dropping on one knee across December. Popular Twitch streamer Mizkif was fortunate to catch one couple’s proposal, as they had an entire ice rink to themselves at the stroke of midnight. Mizkif was out and about in New York capturing the Christmas festivities when he stumbled upon a crowd at the Rockefeller Center, looking down on a sole couple on the rink. The Rockefeller Center in New York transforms into an ice skating rink every December and is a popular place to have a romantic moment over the holiday season. Its picturesque backdrop makes it the perfect place to drop down on one knee and propose to the love of your life. While Mizkif asked if he could put his skates on, he stayed and watched the couple mosey around on the ice, waiting for the moment one would propose to the other. The crowd erupted once the man finally popped the question, with the lady shocked at the situation she found herself in. Just like the movies, the love of her life proposed to her on the stroke of midnight on Christmas, and all she had to do was say yes. Getting this spot for a big occasion like this would have been difficult and expensive though. It’s an iconic location in New York, and many couples would be competing for the chance to say yes right there, right then. “These guys are lucky, because he must have paid a fortune to get that spot right after midnight,” one person in the crowd said. “I’m sure that there’s a line of people that do this, and he would have paid a lot of money to do this right on Christmas.” After such a heartwarming proposal like that, you’d hope they’d commit to each other through sickness and health to have a long, prosperous marriage. Regardless, the occasion itself would be unforgettable for the couple on the ice. It’s a special moment on a special day, and while it would be relatively daunting with hundreds of people watching with bated breath, it looks like it was worth every penny.

Mizkif claims Camp Knut is “the best thing that ever happened” to him Twitch: MizkifPopular streamer Mizkif has been working hard during his intense workout training with his fellow Twitch favorite Knut, but he claims the event’s had an incredible impact on his wellbeing. Twitch star Mizkif invited Norwegian fitness streamer Knut and his family over to give him a taste of the streaming community in Austin, Texas. The duo have since been keeping their fans entertained as they pumped iron together as part of Camp Knut. Various streamers from around the county have also tried their hand in the gym with Knut guiding them along the way. However, what was supposed to be a fun collab has turned into an important event for Mizkif as he described the experience as having “saved” him. Mizkif praises Camp Knut experience On July 26, Mizkif posted an emotional message about his time taking part in Camp Knut, which he described as “the best thing that has ever happened to” him. The streamer opened up about how the event has also done wonders for his mental health after having struggled with his sense of identity over the 12 months leading up to it. “For the past year I’ve been stressed out of my mind all day,” Mizkif added. “I felt myself drifting from my old self. Knut saved me. And I’m so proud of my friends/ the community getting involved, and using twitch for positivity.” There have been a number of stressful moments for Mizkif leading up to the Camp Knut. His OTK Schooled event was brought to a fiery end due to a cheating scandal. Not to mention, he found himself in the firing line from controversial figure Greekgodx. However, Camp Knut has worked wonders for Mizkif who has been working hard in the gym with Knut’s help. It might not have been the easiest challenge for Mizkif to complete. Although, Mizkif can now proudly call himself a Camp Knut graduate.

  • Mizkif cancels $50K Twitch quiz show after yet another cheating scandal: “I’m done” – Dexerto

Mizkif cancels $50K Twitch quiz show after yet another cheating scandal: “I’m done” Twitch:MizkifMathew ‘Mizkif’ Rinaudo’s Twitch game show ‘Schooled’ has run it’s last episode. The creator and host declared ‘I’m done’ after the season 2 finale was rocked with another cheating controversy. Throughout it’s time ‘Schooled’ has struggled with cheating controversy. The trivia-based game show, in which participants answer questions at home for a cash prize, has been the perfect combination of opportunity and reward for would-be cheaters. Since its inception, Mizkif has been open about the cheating that has been admitted to occur during the show’s run. This has led to viewers becoming hyper-sensitive to any potential cheating slip-ups. The April 26 episode has seen yet another scandal shake the foundations of Schooled, with the winner of $50,000, Smash caster ‘EEvisu,’ heavily doubted about the veracity of his win. Answering the question “Who wrote the social contract”, EEvisu turned around following the game rules, to avoid accusations of cheating by looking up the answer on his computer. While looking down, a reflection can be seen in his glasses, viewers have been quick to accuse EEVisu of wrongdoing. “I tuned in to his stream for the final question and it was even more obvious than [the original] clip that he looked at a screen then wrote down the answer,” one fan said. Other users linked through to an image much like the one above saying “Here’s a zoomed in picture with color correct, you can see his thumb on the phone and you can tell that’s not his clipboard, it’s two objects.” Throwing even greater doubt into the mix is that EEvisu has openly admitted to cheating before, albeit on a different platform. “When he was handing me his deck, and shuffling mine, I slipped two cards out of his deck.” Mizkif was seen being fairly beaten by the cheating controversy. Despite initially claiming “EEvisu won, fair and square,” he also seemed to declare the end of ‘Schooled’ as a gameshow, saying “I’m done. I’m over it,” and “I just can’t do this anymore.” Not everyone is mad about the existence of cheating, with fellow Twitch streamer and ‘Schooled’ contestant Kristofer Yee saying “whether or not the integrity was there it doesn’t matter. It pulled great numbers and I still think it was really good content.” Indicating that maybe, as long as it’s entertaining, then there’s no push for the show to need to be true to life.

  • Mizkif can’t resist trolling girlfriend Maya during call with parents – Dexerto

Mizkif can’t resist trolling girlfriend Maya during call with parents Popular Twitch streamer Matthew ‘Mizkif’ Rinaudo could not help but troll his girlfriend and fellow streamer Maya Higa, while on the phone to his parents during his October 2 stream. The popular streaming couple of Maya and Mizkif blew up on Twitch this year for some of their hilarious interactions with each other while broadcasting. Many fans rallied behind the duo since watching their story unfold and have gone on to do great things for the community, such as raising over $20,000 for charity during a stream on August 7. The pair are known to poke fun at each other, and during his stream on October 2, Mizkif perfectly trolled Maya while he was on the phone to his parents. He was just finishing up a phone call with his father on stream before claiming that Maya was hitting him, “Maya stop hitting me” He said, before banging his desk and hanging up the phone, attempting to troll her. “Why do you do that?” Maya asked, clearly annoyed, “every time he talks on the phone with either of his parents he says Maya said f**k you, that’s the third time on the phone today that he’s told his dad that I’ve hit him.” Mizkif could not help but laugh after his efforts to troll his girlfriend, clearly happy with his successful attempts, “Oh god it’s great.” Despite his constant pranking on Maya, Mizkif has had a lot of positive impact on Twitch viewers, such as one of FaZe EwOk’s fans who shared a heartwarming moment with the popular streamer. Mizkif has even gone out of his way to send a message to deaf Twitch streamer FaZe EwOk, learning sign language just to wish her a happy birthday on his stream. The popular streamer has had a lot of entertaining moments on his stream, such as taking part in a bizarre dancing challenge for $15,000 which was set up by one of his viewers.

  • Mizkif calls CEO Dan Clancy “the best thing to happen to Twitch in years” – Dexerto

Mizkif calls CEO Dan Clancy “the best thing to happen to Twitch in years” Instagram: realmizkif / Instagram: chasebeyondMizkif has praised Twitch CEO Dan Clancy, stating he is what the streaming platform “needed”. Matthew ‘Mizkif’ Rinaudo is an American Twitch streamer with over 2 million followers on the platform. As one of Twitch’s most well-known personalities, it’s no surprise his opinions hold some weight with fans. Most recently, Mizkif attended TwitchCon 2023 in Las Vegas. It appears the experience bore well, the streamer taking to Twitter to share his thoughts on the platform’s CEO, Dan Clancy — and he had only good things to say. “Dan Clancy is the best thing to happen to Twitch in years,” Mizkif wrote. “He’s what we needed and I’m so happy he’s the CEO.” Many users agreed, jumping on to Twitter to offer their own praise for Clancy, who took over as Twitch CEO earlier this year in March. “Chill guy, cares about Twitch, pretty upfront and honest about shortcomings and problems and how they try to tackle them, and actually takes part in the Twitch experience,” one person wrote. “As far as big CEOs go, he is one of the most unique and humble I’ve seen.” “I’ve never seen this much positivity in years,” another user said. Fellow Twitch streamer ‘FaZe Kalei‘ also responded to Mizkif’s tweet, writing, “Seeing him insanely involved with the community is a fresh of breath air.” Clancy himself even responded to Mizkif, demonstrating his involvement in the Twitch community; “Thanks Miz. Had a great time at TwitchCon and thanks for all you did there.” However, it seems not all have agreed with Mizkif, the streamer hitting back at Twitter users giving him backlash for his post; “Oh yeah I forgot this is Twitter where you can’t f compliment something.” Check out all the latest entertainment news on our page here.

  • Mizkif calls out Trainwreck for “high school bulls**t” Twitter behavior – Dexerto

Mizkif calls out Trainwreck for “high school bulls**t” Twitter behavior Twitch: Mizkif/TrainwrecksTVMizkif called out Trainwreck for “high school bulls**t” after reading one of his Twitter rants and realizing that Train unfollowed him. While Mizkif was reacting to Reddit posts during his recent Twitch stream, he stumbled upon a now-deleted tweet from Trainwreck in which he called his friends “rats.” The tweet referenced the current Twitch meta of streamers watching the TV show Masterchef, a show that brought the creator a lot of hate when he watched it in the past. While reading Train’s tweet, Mizkif realized Train unfollowed him on Twitter — and called him out for it. Mizkif calls out Trainwreck While explaining why he believes Trainwreck gets so much hate, a viewer asked Mizkif if he’ll ever talk to Trainwreck again. He replied: “Let’s be real, Train’s probably never going to talk to me again.” The streamer went on to explain the big thing he doesn’t like about Train: “I’m not a fan of people that unfollow and refollow. Like train calls out people for high school bullshit, and that’s the most high-school bullshit thing I’ve ever seen in my life. Just @ the person and call them a dick.” (Starts at 4:10 in the video) Mizkif made it clear he doesn’t entirely dislike Train though, as he stated that he agrees with his tweet and that people just find reasons to hate him when he does something. This isn’t the first time Train has been involved in drama with other streamers. In June 2021, the creator called out “jealous” and “ratty” streamers who were criticizing him for gambling on stream, and in November he did the same towards people calling him out for buying an NFT. At the time of writing, Trainwreck has yet to comment on Mizkif’s thoughts. We’ll have to keep an eye on his social media to see if he does.

  • Mizkif breaks down in emotional Twitch return: “I missed you guys so much” – Dexerto

Mizkif breaks down in emotional Twitch return: “I missed you guys so much” Twitch: MizkifMatthew ‘Mizkif’ Rinaudo was reduced to tears early on in his Twitch comeback stream on October 5 as he reunited with fans two weeks after breaking up with long time girlfriend Maya and taking a “much-needed” spell away from streaming to deal with the breakup. Two weeks after Mizkif revealed he would be taking an extended hiatus after breaking up with long-time girlfriend Maya, the Twitch star returned to the livestream limelight in early October. It didn’t take long for the star’s emotions to come bubbling to the surface, however, with Mizkif appearing on-camera with tears already in his eyes after his stream intro. In response, his chat was flooded with hearts and emotes. “Oh my god dude, I’m crying,” he mumbled. “I don’t know what to say,” he admitted. “Sorry. Oh my god, chat, this is a lot. I didn’t really know what the hell to expect. I’m crying… this is a bit embarrassing.” Mizkif has spent the past two weeks away from the streaming website following the end of his relationship, which marked the One True King owner’s first real break from Twitch since his popularity explosion in early 2020. The 26-year-old told his fans that he and Maya would both be “taking a couple of weeks off of streaming to process, and take care of ourselves”. When the streamer originally stepped away in mid-September, he promised the surprise hiatus would last “around two weeks”. That original plan was eventually stretched, however, into early October. “This is what I looked like twenty days ago,” Mizkif joked to his fast-moving Twitch chat as he choked back tears. “Thank you guys [for this response] already.” The emotional Twitch streamer continued, explaining that during his break away from the Amazon-owned platform he came to realize he had been using it as “an outlet” as much as his fans were watching him to be entertained. “I missed you guys [Twitch chat] so much, you have no idea. “I even missed streaming so much. Really, I came to the realization while I was away that it’s become an outlet for me, so much,” he said, before laughing. “I’ve lost so many friends these last 20 days because they’re so sick of me! I just non-stop had so much energy. I’ve been working out every day [to get it out]. “It’s been a crazy past few weeks. Absolutely f**king wild, and not a good time. It’s been the worst time, really, for me. And I missed you all so much.” Midway through his stream, Mizkif also touched on the biggest thing missing from his Twitch stream now that he’s returned — Maya, who he says “isn’t coming back” despite his Twitch chat trying to will it into existence. “It’s so weird that she’s not going to walk in anymore,” he said. “Such a weird feeling, knowing she’s gone, and probably not coming back. It’s weird to even fathom this is now the reality of my life. And, I know it’s the same for her too. I still keep expecting to turn around and she’s coming in with some cat that she wants us to adopt that she’s found outside. And, Mizkif made sure to shoot down recent Pokimane relationship rumors: “Can you guys f**k off with that? I’m not dating everyone I’m friends with.”

  • Mizkif’s birthday call for his dad goes wrong in the best way possible – Dexerto

Mizkif’s birthday call for his dad goes wrong in the best way possible Twitch: Mizkif / PixabayMatthew ‘Mizkif’ Rinaudo almost forgot to call his dad up on his birthday, but to make up for it, he got hundreds of people from his Twitch chat to sing “Happy Birthday” to him – or at least, that was the plan. There are a few certainties that come with birthdays — aging a year older, getting a present or two, and having happy birthday sung at you by anyone who passes by. Mizkif’s dad passed the big 60 today, but his son almost forgot to celebrate with a chipper tune. “I don’t know why a guy jumping out of a window made me remember this but it’s my dad’s birthday,” the streamer said. “Oh sh*t. He just turned 60.” Frantically running around to try and reach out to his dad, Mizkif had the perfect idea — call him up on stream and get his Twitch chat to sing “Happy Birthday” to him. “Hey Dad, I’m on stream, but it’s your birthday. Chat, everyone get in my Discord right now and let’s sing happy birthday to my dad,” he said. His dad on the other end of the line patiently waited for the salutations to come through, as dozens of people joined the call every second. There’s a slight issue with this plan though. Discord’s voice calls aren’t the greatest things once you break past a few people speaking at the same time, especially when it’s people repeating the same thing. So when Mizkif started feeding hundreds of his viewers into his general chat to sing happy birthday, what came out was a convoluted mess. Mizkif did reassure his dad that it was indeed happy birthday they were singing. “They’re singing happy birthday to you, do you hear them,” he said. The Discord was so loud it was impossible to hear the streamer’s dad over the static, but one can assume he was a little bit confused. After about 45 seconds, Mizkif waved his chat off and said that he’d give his dad a proper callback with a more heartfelt message than high-pitched squealing. The streamer seemed pretty proud of his efforts, even saying it was “better than expected.” However, ‘Nemz38’, who was on call with him at the same time, had a cheeky dig at the gibberish that went through Mizkif’s line to his dad. “Imagine being such a bad son that you spend three hours in a call getting your ego stroked and not saying happy birthday to your dad, and then when you remember, you call him and you play that down the phone,” he said. “I understand why you got kicked out now.” Mizkif didn’t take the insult laying down, firing right back at the British streamer. “Shut the f**k up dude,” he said. “I bet you probably stroke your dad’s c**k every single night just to stay in your little f**king cubby of a room in the UK you loser, I hate you.” Mizkif turned off his stream about an hour later to hopefully give his father a nice call and wish him happy birthday properly. It wasn’t the most conventional way of letting your relatives know that you love them, but the joke was not lost on Mizkif or his dad. It was probably the most people his dad has ever heard singing happy birthday at the same time, so while it was a bit of a mess, it was the best mess possible.

  • Mizkif blasts “worst logic in the world” over Starforge PC prices – Dexerto

Mizkif blasts “worst logic in the world” over Starforge PC prices Twitch: MizkifTwitch streamer Mizkif has responded to criticism of OTK’s collaboration with MoistCr1TiKal, Starforge Systems, after PC enthusiast Kristofer Yee was less than impressed with their efforts. Streaming giant Mizkif is no stranger to unexpected collaborations and exciting projects. The One True King content group is exploring a new venture, this time with YouTuber and Moist Esports owner Charles ‘MoistCr1TiKaL’ White Jr. Starforge Systems, an OTK-backed endeavour that specializes in high-end gaming PC’s, has seen the duo promoting an array of systems targeted at getting exceptional performance. Though there has been plenty of backlash over prices and specs, some fans are impressed by what they’ve seen so far from Starforge Systems. However, PC gaming content creator Kristofer Yee has lambasted the specs that are on offer. YouTuber Kristofer Yee slams Starforge PC’s: “Are you f****** kidding me?” During Kristofer Yee’s August 20 Twitch livestream, the content creator began to break down the Horizon Creator Edition PC available on Starforge’s website. Immediately Yee took aim at the PC’s CPU, saying “a literal Creator Edition PC for nearly $3,500 and you’re using a processor that is bad for content creation.” Despite Yee’s distaste towards the initial specs of the PC, Mizkif fired back, claiming: “We already changed it. It’s already changed, so I don’t know if or where this video is going, or what he’s trying to do, but we already changed it.” Yee’s critique of the PC didn’t stop there, as the Twitch streamer said “are you f****** me?…If I’m paying almost four grand for a computer and you don’t give me a $20 upgrade… if you built this computer yourself you could save $600.” Mizkif explained that Starforge Systems are “offering a service” by pre-assembling their setups: “That is the worst logic in the world. I hate that idea, ‘if you build this yourself’.” In a further response to this notion, Mizkif joked “okay do you guys do your own oil changes with your own cars? You can do it yourself by the way chat and not spend any money.” Regardless of Yee’s opinions on the PC, Mizkif reiterated that the major issues flagged by Yee had already been rectified.

  • Mizkif believes Twitch CEO will have “positive impact” on site despite backlash – Dexerto

Mizkif believes Twitch CEO will have “positive impact” on site despite backlash YouTube: Mizkif / Twitter: JakeNBakeMizkif had a phone call with Twitch’s CEO, Dan Clancy, the night the platform came under fire for its new guidelines on branded content — and says he thinks Clancy will have a “positive impact” on the site despite the backlash. On June 6, Twitch revealed new guidelines to branded content that will go into effect on July 1. These guidelines introduced a bevy of restrictions on the kinds of advertisements that streamers are allowed to show, most notably banning “burned in” video, audio, and display ads. That’s not all; on-stream overlays are now limited to a mere 3% of screen size. Twitch also limited what kinds of products are allowed to be advertised on its platform, no longer allowing political content, adult-oriented products, or medical devices to be promoted, among other goods and services. These new guidelines sparked a swath of backlash against the website, with many top broadcasters and even streaming organizations threatening to leave Twitch altogether if these new rules go through. However, one top streamer — who was also vocally against Twitch’s new rules — says he has faith that the site will go in the right direction after hopping on a phone call with its CEO, Dan Clancy. Mizkif says he had phone call with Twitch CEO about branded content changes On June 7, Mizkif uploaded a YouTube video claiming he spoke with Clancy in an hours-long phone call, which he walked away from confident that the CEO will have a “positive impact” on the company. “Dan actually listened [to me],” Mizkif explained. “He listened to my feedback, he listened to what I had to say. And I do believe that Dan is going to be making a positive impact on the future of Twitch.” “I hope that Dan is the beginning of many good changes to this website, and I hope this website starts listening to its creators and viewers, and creating a better viewing experience overall, so people can have experiences like I did in 2013.” (Topic begins at 5:48) Mizkif himself has signed a deal with Rumble to occasionally stream on their platform on top of his pre-existing Twitch broadcasts — a trend that has been happening more and more often with a huge chunk of Twitch’s top talent as of late. For now, the streaming wars rage on as more competitor sites line up in the wings waiting to take advantage of Twitch’s every move.

  • Mizkif bets Pokimane $50,000 for Jump King wager: “She’s not beating it!” – Dexerto

Mizkif bets Pokimane $50,000 for Jump King wager: “She’s not beating it!” Twitch streamer Mizkif is putting his money on the line again, as he bet Pokimane $50k that she can’t complete the newest Jump King level by the end of the year. In August, we once again saw Jump King at the top of Twitch with the release of its newest level, Babe of Ascension. Some of the biggest creators on Twitch flocked to the game, in a race to reach the top first, all for bragging rights. One streamer who isn’t particularly good at the game is streaming superstar Pokimane, who’s previously struggled immensely in her climb to the top. On the other hand, Mizkif considers himself the literal ‘Jump King’ and wanted to make things interesting. Known for his outrageous bets – the majority of which he ends up losing – Mizkif bet Pokimane $50,000 that she wouldn’t complete Jump King by the end of the year. Pokimane doesn’t exactly have a good track record at Jump King, something Mizkif wanted to capitalize on. Confident that she wouldn’t complete Jump King, Mizkif originally bet 1000 gifted subs that she wouldn’t complete the level – and gave her as long as she wants to complete it. A week had passed since the first bet, and Mizkif was feeling extra confident, with Pokimane struggling to even get past 10% level completion. So, he decided to up the stakes, offering Pokimane 10,000 gifted subs if she beats the level before the end of a year, which will set him back roughly $50,000. “Pokimane tried to play Jump King. I told her I’d give her 1000 subs, I’ll bump it up to 10,000 subs if she can beat it. She’s not beating it,” said Mizkif. Valkyrae responded, “Wait, 10,000? You’re crazy.” Mizkif didn’t back down though, continuing, “If she can beat that game I’ll give her 10,000 subs, no cheating, I’ll give her 10,000 subs, it’s just not going to happen. She was 7% and screaming at the top of her lungs. I have zero faith in her, there’s no way. Go ahead, clip it. I’ll give her 10,000 subs if she beats it by the end of the year.” However, it seems most viewers believe he’s destined to lose the bet, and subsequently the $50k. With over four months to complete the level, Pokimane has plenty of time to prove him wrong and win the bet, but Mizkif is as confident as ever.

  • Mizkif’s bathtub stream goes horribly wrong after microphone mishap – Dexerto

Mizkif’s bathtub stream goes horribly wrong after microphone mishap Twitch: Mizkif / PixabayMatthew ‘Mizkif’ Rinaudo decided to bring his stream into the bath with him, but with thousands of dollars of computer equipment laying around, it was only a matter of time until something fell into the water with him. It’s something everyone is taught from a young age — electronics and water don’t mix. However, that didn’t stop Mizkif from trying to put on a show for his viewers while giving himself a bath on stream. As part of a sponsored stream with Dr. Squatch Soap Co, Mizkif was told to “sit in a bath for 90 minutes,” and that’s exactly what he did. “I’m going to sit here in a tub, playing with their soap — a nice, calm, relaxing stream.” With helpers running around to help set up the stream, which was filmed on a laptop camera beaming back to his computer at home in a discord call, Mizkif eventually hopped into the bath, albeit with board shorts on. “Alright let’s put some soap in the water,” he said. “Slick, can you play some marbles for the boys?” He even called out the helper, asking his chat to give him some appreciation, just before disaster struck. “Let’s give a big round of applause for crazy Slick out there—” with the audio cutting out briefly as the microphone unplugged from the cable hanging right above his bath. Mizkif tried to catch it mid air but his reactions failed him, with the expensive piece of equipment dropping right into the water. The stream audio swapped from the hanging bathtub microphone to the in-built laptop one, giving viewers a chance to hear the aftermath as it happened. Mizkif was left in shock over what had just happened, with Slick walking into the room with the only appropriate reaction — “oh no, dude.” “Sh*t, like I’m sorry,” Mizkif said after composing himself. “Is this your mic? F**k dude.” Slick hit back with a reply about how the microphone cost him $1,000, making the bathing streamer look a bit more frantically for a solution. “Is it gonna work, should I try it? Do you think it’s completely broken? Do you think if maybe we put it in rice?” Eventually Mizkif put the microphone aside once he learned the laptop microphone had kicked in, entering a zen state to put the embarrassing moment well out of his mind. After the peculiar bath stream. fans looking to get a dose of Mizkif will have to wait a few days. The streamer announced that he “will be gone for nine days,” and while he’s going to miss his stream, he also said that he’s “gonna have a lot of fun” taking a break.

  • Mizkif begs fans to stop sending Jinny hate amid OTK drama – Dexerto

Mizkif begs fans to stop sending Jinny hate amid OTK drama Twitch: Mizkif, JinnyttyPopular Twitch streamer Matthew ‘Mizkif’ Rinaudo has issued another statement in wake of the current drama surrounding broadcasting group ‘OTK’ after asking fellow streamer Jinny to leave his home. While OTK (short for ‘One True King’) is a relatively new streaming organization, the minds behind the group have been on Twitch for some time. Comprised of popular broadcasters like Asmongold, Esfand, and Mizkif, the content collective officially kicked off last October — but just months later, they have found themselves entrenched in drama. The issues started due to tensions between Mizkif and fellow IRL streamer Jinny, who has become known for her traveling exploits (as well as the hilarious shenanigans she finds herself in while abroad). Jinny was living in Mizkif’s Texas home for a U.S. stay — but now, OTK is asking her to leave the residence, in part because she had invited her brother over to the house to visit in spite of current health concerns. However, it’s also worth noting that Jinny discussed the situation at length with Esfand, with both parties seeming to mutually come to the same conclusion that it’s best for her to leave. Unfortunately, this appears to have sparked a slew of harassment and hate toward Jinny, after Mizkif explained that OTK was worried for the health of Asmongold’s mother and Tips’ new baby. Mere days later, Mizkif returned to Twitch alongside Jinny to address the situation, begging fans to stop sending hate toward her in wake of what appears to be a painful parting for the group. “We both know that there’s clearly been people who were fabricating stuff and making things worse,” Mizkif stated. “I think it’s the community, I think it was Jinny’s fault — it’s also our fault, too, my fault.” “We hate that this turned into this crap,” he continued. “It really makes us sad. I know she’s been crying a lot, and it makes me feel really shitty, thinking that any of this is a problem. ‘Cause I like Jinny a lot, and I know my community does, too. I don’t want Jinny to be upset, at all.” Citing the issue as “massive communication errors,” the streamer then asked his fanbase to stop harassing Jinny amid all the drama, claiming that the IRL streamer had been in tears for three days. Mikif’s statement has sparked a wave of conversation among his viewers as fans continue to debate the morals of Jinny’s brother’s travels and the overall safety of streamers visiting each other during quarantine.

  • Mizkif quickly unbanned on Twitch after just 24 hours – Dexerto

Mizkif quickly unbanned on Twitch after just 24 hours MizkifStreaming star Mizkif was quickly unbanned on Twitch just 14 hours after he was hit with a ban for “Aiding Account Suspension Evasion.“ The 27-year-old returned to streaming just a few weeks ago following allegations in September 2022 that he helped cover up a sexual assault. After being placed on leave and put under investigation by his organization One True King, the streamer went on a hiatus across all platforms. He was subsequently found not guilty following a third-party investigation and the streamer has since got back to making content — even going viral for dropping a bench press on himself while attempting a new personal best. After being hit with a ban on January 13 for “aiding account suspension evasion,” Mizkif’s channel returned just a day later. Mizkif receives second Twitch ban According to StreamerBans, this is Mizkif’s second ban from the platform. His first was in February 2020 — where he was quickly unbanned shortly after. In response to StreamerBans, Mizkif shared the email he received from Twitch revealing that his suspension was for “Aiding Account Suspension Evasion.” Fans have suggested the ban was due to watching a video from disgraced streamer GrossGore — who was banned from Twitch in 2021. This would be breaking the platform’s terms of service, which prohibits streamers from watching a suspended user’s content on their broadcast. The ban didn’t last long, as Twitch brought his channel back just 24 hours later. Although, Mizkif has yet to return to stream — presumably taking the weekend off. • Mizkif banned on Twitch yet again after watching MILF Manor reality show – Dexerto

Mizkif banned on Twitch yet again after watching MILF Manor reality show Twitch: MizkifTwitch star Mizkif has been hit with yet another ban on the streaming platform, this time, seemingly as a result of broadcasting his reactions to the new ‘MILF Manor‘ reality show from TLC. Mizkif is certainly no stranger to Twitch bans. Despite calling the platform home, the popular figure has had a rocky history with the Amazon-backed streaming platform to say the least. From the chaotic ‘TV show meta’ he largely pioneered just one year prior to being suspended just for watching the clips of others, he’s seen it all. Now, he’s back into familiar territory once again, having been blocked on Twitch for sharing a new series with his viewers. This time around, it was allegedly a reality series called MILF Manor that landed him on Twitch’s naughty list once again. After watching a handful of episodes live on stream during a February 6 broadcast, Mizkif confirmed he was “banned for DMCA again” shortly after being hit offline. During his latest stream, Mizkif was watching along with the raunchy reality series, as a few others have on Twitch in recent days. In fact, it’s become so popular on Twitch Hasan even received a shoutout from one of the leading stars ‘Disco Mommy’ just a few days ago. However, the ban hammer struck down on Mizkif once again despite the show’s prevalence on the platform of late. It could come as a result of mass reports from agitated viewers, given many other streamers have gotten away with broadcasting the show without issue. Mercifully, this Twitch ban is set to last just 24 hours all up, meaning Mizkif can return to live streaming from Wednesday onwards. We’ll have to see if Twitch issues a more in-depth statement as to why Mizkif was singled out in this instance. Though given the platform’s typical silence around bans, it wouldn’t be wise to hold your breath on a proper explanation.

  • Mizkif banned on Twitch after being hit with DMCA strike – Dexerto

Mizkif banned on Twitch after being hit with DMCA strike Twitch/MizkifTwitch streamer Mizkif has been hit with a sudden ban on the platform after being smacked with a DMCA strike. The DMCA drama continues to rock streamers, as showing copyrighted material could result in a suspension. On June 7, OTK’s Mizkif was suddenly banned on the Amazon-owned platform, leaving his channel completely inaccessible with the exception of a message that reads: “Content from this channel has been removed at the request of the copyright holder.” It’s not clear yet what content Mizkif had broadcasted, but the ban couldn’t have come at a worse time for the Twitch megastar. Mizkif hit with sudden Twitch ban before OTK Expo On June 10, One True King will be hosting The OTK Games Expo, where dozens of new games will be showcased. While OTK’s Asmongold, Emiru, and Esfand will be panelists, not having Mizkif available to help promote the event in its lead-up could end up having an impact on things. Interestingly, the ban has occurred just one day after Mizkif urged his fellow streamers to leave Twitch if the platform announced controversial new branding guidelines – something the Amazon-owned site has since walked back. Luckily, on his alternate Twitter account, Mizkif revealed that the ban would only last 24 hours and he would be back on Friday. He followed that up by saying he would be streaming on Rumble, a platform he recently signed a deal with.

  • Mizkif backtracks on lucrative Saudi Arabian Twitch deal over fears of being “canceled” – Dexerto

Mizkif backtracks on lucrative Saudi Arabian Twitch deal over fears of being “canceled” YouTube: Mizkif / UnsplashTwitch streamer Mizkif was initially on board for a lucrative trip to Saudi Arabia as part of a new sponsorship deal, though soon backflipped on the partnership after educating himself and showing concern over being “canceled”. Never one to shy away from controversy, Mizkif has once again found himself in the spotlight for the wrong reasons after details surrounding a deal with a Saudi Arabian organization spilled out online. Having originally jumped at the opportunity to fly over and play Fortnite across a four-day stretch with a number of popular streamers like Emiru and Tfue, Mizkif was all locked in for the partnership. However, upon learning about the region and its many well-publicized issues, with help from fellow internet celeb Hasan, Mizkif admitted his ignorance and pledged not to go. Saudi Arabian event leaked Although nothing has yet been made official, Twitch streamer ‘pokelawls’ was the first to let slip the plans for a high-profile gaming event in Saudi Arabia, one with Fortnite in focus. Having been invited himself, pokelawls revealed that a range of top stars on the Amazon-owned platform were asked to “fly to Saudi Arabia for four days and play Fortnite”. According to the email he received, the event hosts requested “three Twitter posts, three Instagram stories, two Instagram feeds, [and] one YouTube [post]” to promote the Fortnite-focused competition. Described as a charitable event, the lucrative offer also made its way to the inboxes of Tfue, Emiru, and Mizkif, all three of which had allegedly locked in their involvement. “You know what’s funny?” pokelawls asked. “At the end of the message, it says Mizkif and Emiru are going. Of course they’re f**king going.” Read More: Mizkif responds to Greekgox after Twitch ban – While a specific amount wasn’t confirmed, Mizkif didn’t shut down the notion of it being a six-figure partnership when later discussing his side of the agreement. Mizkif learns about Saudi Arabia with help from Hasan Having immediately come under fire for being linked to the Saudi Arabian event, Mizkif dealt with the fallout while live on Twitch himself. “Why is everyone saying Saudi Arabia’s so [bad]?” He questioned in response to the pokelawls reveal now going viral. “What is wrong with Saudi Arabia? “I thought it was for charity, why is everyone getting so mad? Chat, am I actually going to get canceled? What is this? I thought it would be a cool, fun experience.” Soon calling fellow streamer Hasan to learn more, he quickly realized the complexity of the partnership. “I said yes to it a month ago,” he said. “Maybe I should do my research for sponsors.” Seemingly ignorant of just about everything to do with the country, Mizkif honed in on the charitable aspect as to why he supposedly accepted the deal at first, opposed to the financial gain. “I thought it was for charity,” he repeated. Having since been run through a wide range of major concerns, he backtracked and agreed not to take the partnership and visit Saudi Arabia: “I’ve made my decision. It’s clear I didn’t know the ins and outs of it. I didn’t know the realities of what it was.” Read More: xQc accepts El Rubius’ boxing challenge – So while Mizkif is off the event for now, there’s no telling if other prominent Twitch stars are also in the process of cutting ties. Emiru has followed suit, an informed source told Dexerto, as the fellow OTK member is no longer set to attend the event. However, Tfue’s status remains unclear. We’ll be sure to keep you posted here as any further details emerge.

  • Mizkif assures fans he makes way more than was leaked on Twitch – Dexerto

Mizkif assures fans he makes way more than was leaked on Twitch YouTube: MizkifMizkif revealed the jaw-dropping amount of money he makes per month after accidentally leaking his weekly earnings in a viral Twitch stream. On September 12, prominent streamer Mizkif accidentally showed off his weekly earnings from Twitch in a broadcast that took social media by storm. Fans were shocked to see that Mizkif had apparently raked in over $13,000 in just a week, sparking a massive conversation online as to the revenue earned by large streamers versus the regular income of the average working-class person. In fact, several big names weighed in on the debate, including platforms like Kick, streaming org OTK, and even Asmongold. Mizkif reveals he makes $80k monthly from Twitch ad revenue Mizkif responded to the viral moment in a YouTube video the very next day, where he revealed that he actually makes far more than the amount that was leaked during his broadcast. According to Mizkif, his earnings were $13k because he actually didn’t stream as consistently as usual that week. Instead, his normal weekly income is usually around $20 – $25k. This means that Mizkif makes anywhere from $80K – $100K per month — but he explained that he isn’t making these big bucks off of his subscribers. Instead, Mizkif claimed that a majority of his income stems from ad revenue and Twitch Turbo viewership. However, even then, Mizkif says that he and other content creators generally earn the bulk of their cash through sponsorship deals. The streamer also urged viewers against donating or subscribing to large creators like himself, using his own income as an example. Instead, he advised them to subscribe to smaller streamers, and also urged them to get Twitch Turbo if they’re regular Twitch users. “You don’t need to subscribe to me,” Mizkif said. “I am totally okay. While I appreciate your support, I don’t need the money. You don’t need to donate.” Fans were generally pleased by Mizkif’s response to the issue, with many thanking him for his transparency about such a sensitive topic. It’s true that some creators are earning major money from their platforms — such as Corinna Kopf, who claimed that she makes up to $2 million monthly from OnlyFans, alone.

OTK co-founder Mizkif and Emiru have become quite close since she moved into his streamer house. The duo has streamed together a number of times, including a Super Mario 64 speedrun challenge that ended poorly for Mizkif. With the holiday season here, the pair opened up tons of Christmas gifts on stream. When Emiru presented what she got for Mizkif, he was in shock at how impressive it was. His chat went into a frenzy, noting just how thoughtful of a friend Emiru has become to him. Mizkif covered his eyes and become emotional towards the end of the clip, as the gift clearly meant a lot to him. He also might have felt bad after Emiru revealed his gift to her was so poorly wrapped it was mistakenly thrown out.

  • Mizkif is taking a “long” Twitch hiatus after revealing he and Maya broke up – Dexerto

Mizkif is taking a “long” Twitch hiatus after revealing he and Maya broke up Twitter: MizkifMatthew ‘Mizkif’ Rinaudo has announced he will be taking an extended break from Twitch streaming, after revealing he and long-time girlfriend and fellow stream-star Maya Higa had broken up after two years together. The streaming couple had been together for just over two years. Mizkif and Maya originally kept their relationship a secret from their Twitch fans, but accidentally confirmed their rumored romance in the middle of an unboxing stream in late 2019. Since then, the pair were near-inseparable as each climbed into the upper echelons of streaming fame on Amazon’s video site. In more recent times, Mizkif and Maya would often co-stream together, sharing stories, embarrassing each other, and building a combined fanbase. Mizkif now has just under 1.6m followers, while Higa boasts 510k of her own. The Twitch couple lived together for the majority of their relationship. They met after Mizkif replied to a YouTube video of Maya building her PC. Mizkif revealed their shock Twitch break-up — and his intentions to take time away from streaming to process it — in a Twitlonger posted on September 14. He wrote, “Maya and I have decided to break up.” The Twitch star explained that there had been “no event, no cheating, no drama” that led to their surprise decision. Instead, it was a mutual choice the streaming couple decided on behind closed doors. “We both care about each other so much and are still friends,” he explained. “We’re supporting each other through this and we ask that you all do the same for us both. Thank you for supporting us through these past two years. The Twitch star went on to add: “We can both say that they’ve [the last two years] been some of the best years of our lives and we’re super grateful.” Mizkif also confirmed the pair would be taking a break from Twitch. “We’re going to take a couple weeks off of streaming to process and to take care of ourselves.” He followed this up in Twitch chat soon after with another, much longer prediction, however. When asked by one of his fans how long he’s expecting to take away from his regular broadcasting schedule, Rinaudo said, “I will not be streaming for a long time.” The One True King streamer’s unexpected break from Twitch will mark the first time he has spent any meaningful time away from streaming since early 2020. In February last year, Mizkif had a 10 day break from the platform. Before that, the star’s longest break was a short week in August 2018. Maya is in a similar boat; although her streams are more intermittent, the Twitch star has taken barely any time away from the popular video platform since late 2019, when Higa was right in the middle of her rise in popularity. April 13-20 this year was the last time she was away from streaming. Neither star has confirmed a date for their streaming returns. Judging by Mizkif’s “two-week” promise, however, we could expect them back by September 27.

  • Mizkif apologizes for “embarrassing” stream as OTK suspends him from board – Dexerto

Mizkif apologizes for “embarrassing” stream as OTK suspends him from board YouTube: MizkifMizkif issued an apology for his “embarrassing” comeback stream back in October, just two days after OTK concluded their investigation into claims he helped cover up a sexual assault. Over the last few months, OTK co-founder Mizkif has been on leave from the Twitch organization due to allegations that claimed he helped cover up a sexual assault incident between streamers CrazySlick and Adrianah Lee. OTK issued an update regarding the investigation on December 31, revealing that the law firm they hired did not find direct evidence that Mizkif had attempted to cover up the alleged assault. They reinstated Mizkif as a member of the organization, but due to a “callous disregard” towards SA and racial prejudice during his stream on October 11, they decided to suspend him from his duties on the board of directors. Now, the Twitch star has issued an apology for his comments during the stream in a video uploaded to his YouTube channel. Mizkif apologizes for comments during come back stream Mizkif uploaded the 90-second video to his main YouTube channel on January 2. “Hello, I’ve been wanting to make this video for a while now and now that the investigation is over, I’d like to address my embarrassing comeback stream in October. My behavior on that stream was absolutely unacceptable,” he explained. “I communicated almost everything terribly and I was completely tone-deaf to such a serious situation. And, I’m so sorry for how I acted. It was completely insensitive. “I want to apologize to everyone, but especially victims of sexual assault. The way I behaved was horrible and I will be better. I will learn from this situation. I want to be better not only for myself but for my audience. I want my influence on this world to be positive,” Mizkif added. He went on to explain that he doesn’t want anyone to see his actions on that stream and deem them acceptable, and wants to prove to his audience that he’s genuine by showing better behavior and better content. It’s unknown when he will return to his main channel on Twitch at the time of writing, so we’ll have to wait to see what happens in the near future.

While Iron Forge is not ready just yet, the gym is expected to fully open to the public on January 15 if all goes to plan.

This is exactly what happened on Mizkif’s recent Just Talking stream, The streamer was blown away by how many comments and interactions he was getting on his stream. He went closer to the computer to get a better view. This is when he accidentally made his Twitch page available for viewers to see, where his revenue for the past week was stated. According to his Twitch profile, Mizkif made $13,168.32 in Twitch revenues between September 5 to September 11, 2023, which was $2,189.90 more than he’d earned the week prior. This number does not include sponsorships or any other forms of income. “Oh, I just showed my revenue,” Mizkif said before letting out a laugh. He then quickly removed the page for viewers to see. Fans react to Mizkif’s leaked Twitch revenue Fans were far from shocked when they saw the number Mizkif was earning, but instead tried to calculate how much he earned when he was more active with his streams. One person wrote: “It’s wild that he could actually probably earn 3-4x more if he were super consistent with his streams. Man will drop a 5-hour Apex-solo-trio stream to 20k viewers and then go play League to 4k viewers for 3 months straight lol.” Another wrote: “Mizkif streamed for 14 hours. That’s about ~$1k per hour from Twitch.” “The funny part is, that’s like nothing compared to what he actually makes,” a third wrote. A fourth commented: “13k a week and this ain’t even close to peak miz and he streams a lot less…” Not all streamers are secretive about how much they earn. Destiny revealed in July 2023 that he pays his YouTube editor 45% of his total revenue, which comes to over $30,000 per month.

  • Stats reveal the effect Ninja has had on Mixer so far – Dexerto

Stats reveal the effect Ninja has had on Mixer so far A new report reveals that people are spending less time watching Mixer streams than they were before Tyler ‘Twitch, Mixer and YouTube Gaming for Q3 of 2019, has been released today, giving fans of the platform and those in the industry a look at how the acquisition of Ninja has affected Mixer, and their rivals. If the exclusive signing of the streamer was designed to encourage more users to the platform, then things are looking good for the Microsoft-owned platform, as between Q2 and Q3, the platform has seen an increase from 1.96 million unique channels to 3.92m, a massive leap in just three months. Over time, this may well prove to be huge, if these streamers can grow in popularity and bring even more eyes to the site. The most interesting statistic in the effort to bring more viewers to Microsoft’s streaming platform is in the number of hours watched, which has dropped by 10.6% quarter over quarter despite Ninja’s exclusivity deal starting at the beginning of August. This is particularly confusing as the number of hours streamed has actually tripled since Q2, even overtaking YouTube Gaming for hours streamed – which would typically lead you to believe that hours watched must have increased too. Not only has Mixer seen a decrease from Q2 but Twitch has seen a notable increase in millions of hours watched, from 2,439.7 to 2,551.4. YouTube Gaming’s figures have also dropped, with Twitch taking interest and consumers from both its biggest competitors. Despite this recent drop, it’s important to note that the figure for hours watched has more than doubled year-on-year for Mixer so, although Ninja may not be firing the platform above Twitch, their longterm results are definitely progressing in an upward trajectory. While Mixer may not be dominating Twitch just yet, Ninja is unlikely to reconsider his position streaming exclusively on Mixer any time soon, especially after his wife Jessica spoke with Business Insider detailing why they decided to make the switch. She explained how Twitch consistently failed to offer a contract that made sense for the Fortnite star, and that Microsoft was so accommodating that the deal happened “in a matter of weeks”. There are a number of takeaways from the report by Streamlabs and Newzoo – whilst Mixer and Twitch are the main points of interest here, it seems YouTube Gaming may be suffering the most as we reach the end of the year. That said, Q3 is typically the weakest part of the year for streaming platforms, so this may be why we are seeing both platforms struggling slightly. It will be interesting to see what the Ninja move results in the longterm, and whether Mixer can return to – and improve on – their Q2 results. But, with both Fortnite and battle royale titles as a whole suffering for viewership each quarter, we may see Mixer have to adopt a new strategy going forward to take some of Twitch’s market share.

Miyamoto’s Super Mario Bros movie tweet spawns countless new memes Nintendo / Twitter: Nintendo of AmericaA tweet penned by Shigeru Miyamoto on the official Nintendo of America Twitter account is throwing the internet for a loop — and spawning countless new memes, in the process. In September 2021, Nintendo officially revealed that they are working on an upcoming Super Mario Bros movie. The announcement was met with a wide array of reactions online — mostly due to the film’s surprising cast, which includes such names as Chris Prat as Mario, Anya Taylor-Joy as Princess Peach, and Jack Black as Bowser. It’s been some time since fans have heard any news regarding the Mario movie. However, this changed on April 25, 2022, when game director and producer Shigeru Miyamoto penned a tweet from the official Nintendo of America Twitter account. Super Mario Bros movie delayed until 2023 “This is Miyamoto,” he wrote. “After consulting with Chris-san, my partner at Illumination on the Super Mario Bros. film, we decided to move the global release to Spring 2023–April 28 in Japan and April 7 in North America. My deepest apologies, but I promise it will be well worth the wait.” The flick was initially slated for release in December 2022. • Mixer respond to Dr Disrespect after he appeared to roast Twitch’s rival – Dexerto

Mixer respond to Dr Disrespect after he appeared to roast Twitch’s rival Popular Twitch streamer, Guy ‘Dr Disrespect’ Beahm, attempted to roast the streaming home of Ninja and shroud, but Mixer’s social media team weren’t having any of it. Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins’ Mixer move back in August 2019 triggered a cascade of popular streamers jumping ship. From Michael ‘shroud’ Grzesiek following suit, to the likes of Corinna Kopf taking her talents over to Facebook Gaming. The net result has rendered the streaming world on the edge of their seats. to see which big name will be next to make a switch. One streaming giant whose loyalties are tied to their streaming roots is none other than the ‘Two-Time champion,’ Dr Disrespect. As the self-proclaimed ‘face of Twitch’, the Doc has long been a fixture of the Amazon-owned streaming platform. Having previously stated that Mixer approached him before Ninja and shroud, Beahm squashed rumors that he’d be among the next to jump ship based on the metrics which Twitch bring in. In his latest bid to poke fun in Mixer’s direction, he posted a Tweet asking: “Is Mixer still around?” Three minutes later, the social media guru over at Microsoft’s streaming platform clapped back with a GIF with Breaking Bad’s cold-blooded protagonist, Walter White. https://twitter.com/WatchMixer/status/1213623817735528448 The GIF read: “You’re god damn right,” a famous quote from the blockbuster AMC series. Of course, Beahm is simply ushering in the new decade the same way that he left the last. Having released an impromptu Mixer parody during his Christmas Eve broadcast, his feelings towards Microsoft’s streaming platform remain consistent. Dr Disrespect has previously hinted that Twitch invested more into keeping him on the platform over Ninja and shroud, which cemented his talents to Amazon’s platform. Meanwhile, the Mixer pair are struggling to pull in anywhere close to the views which they were easily getting on Twitch. While we might not see the Doc over on Mixer any time soon, you can watch his long-lost brother – well, not really, but the pair do have an uncanny resemblance.

  • Mixer CEO takes a jab at Twitch’s inconsistent TOS – Dexerto

Mixer CEO takes a jab at Twitch’s inconsistent TOS Twitch / MixerMixer CEO Matt Salsamendi took a shot at how Twitch has ambiguous rules while his own platform has much less of a grey area for streamers and viewers. Tyler ‘Ninja‘ Blevins’ surprise announcement that he was ditching Twitch and going to Mixer has brought a lot of new eyes to Microsoft’s streaming platform. Twitch has long been criticized for its handling of the platform, especially when it comes to banning users. This has been brought into the limelight due to the Alinity cat tossing controversy. In a livestream clip that was captured by Rod ‘Slasher’ Breslau, Salsamendi touched upon how Twitch is struggling with enforcement while Mixer tries to be more clear about things. “Twitch has struggled with enforcement for a long time. One thing we did early on was make our rules of conduct as clear and objective as possible,” he said.” You know if you’re doing something right or wrong, there’s not really a grey area.” Mixer CEO @MattSalsamendi on Twitch moderation “”Twitch has struggled with enforcement for a long time..one thing we did early on was make our rules of conduct as clear and objective as possible. you know if you’re doing something right or wrong, there’s not really a grey area.”” pic.twitter.com/vhQM52bXWO — Rod Breslau (@Slasher) August 2, 2019 While all of that may be true, some have pointed out that Mixer has a very strict clothing policy, mainly aimed at women. It requires women to show little to no cleavage, among several other things, if they want the ability to keep their “family-friendly” tag active on their stream. Mixer stream clothing rules or my Baptist high school’s dress code? Unclear pic.twitter.com/7SfPji1ztU — Paul Tassi (@PaulTassi) August 2, 2019 The CEO is correct though, they are straight forward with the rules when it comes to clothes, but whether or not streamers and viewers agree with them is a totally different thing entirely. As more eyes come to Mixer than ever because of Ninja being permanently on the platform, it’s important for the platform to have a clear set of rules and guidelines. So far so good for Ninja’s debut as he revealed he has over 500,000 subscribers, although they are free for the first two months. If he’s able to keep it up once viewers are forced to pay will be something to keep an eye on.

  • Mixer announces subscription price change to compete with Twitch – Dexerto

Mixer announces subscription price change to compete with Twitch Mixer announced on October 30th that they are lowering their subscription price from $5.99 to $4.99, in what can be viewed as a sign of direct competition with Twitch. For too long the public has slept on Mixer. But now the Microsoft-run streaming platform has come back from summer break and made some big changes, including some new very popular friends and now a new price tag for subs. On October 30th, Mixer announced they were reducing the price for subscriptions from $5.99 to $4.99. This drop now means that the price of subscriptions on Mixer now matches the price of subscriptions on Twitch. Good news everyone! Starting today all subscriptions will now be changing from $5.99 to $4.99 going forward when subscribing to any of your favorite Partners! :blue_heart: pic.twitter.com/bFVLF4YSdU — Mixer (@WatchMixer) October 30, 2019 This is just another way in which Mixer has directly challenged Twitch for the streaming platform throne, after luring away Michael ‘shroud’ Grzemiek and Cory ‘KingGothalion’ Michael with exclusive streaming deals. Currently, Mixer is also doing a promotion where new Mixer users can subscribe a month for free to KingGothalion to celebrate his move. For shroud and KingGothalion, they follow in the footsteps of Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins, who was the first big streamer to leave Twitch for Mixer when he did so in August. Ninja spoke at length recently about why he believes Mixer is a better platform, and one that can help growing streamers as the platform itself continues to grow. Ninja is doing more than just talking a big game about Mixer while on stream. He’s also been aiding the platform by attempting to tantalize other big Twitch streamers with pre-made Mixer links. He’s pulled this move twice already with AnneMunition and with TimTheTatman. But Mixer isn’t relying on just Ninja to try and pull in big names. Fans are speculating that Mixer may have already gotten to Turner ‘Tfue’ Tenney already, based on some recent cryptic tweets from him. It’s anyone’s guess who else could jump ship next. But for Mixer, the price drop for subscriptions was a natural step in their progression. With thousands of more dedicated viewers assured with the acquisitions of shroud and KingGothalion, they can afford to drop the price. And the dropped price may reel in the viewers who didn’t want to pay a dollar more for a subscription they used to have when either streamer was still on Twitch.

  • MitchJones denies “trying to cancel” Mizkif amid sexual assault cover-up allegations – Dexerto

MitchJones denies “trying to cancel” Mizkif amid sexual assault cover-up allegations Twitch streamer Mitch Jones has responded to claims that he tried to “cancel” Mizkif during the drama surrounding the allegations of a sexual assault cover-up. On September 19, 2022, streamer Trainwreck accused Mizkif of orchestrating a cover-up for his friend CrazySlick who allegedly sexually assaulted female streamer, Adrianah Lee. According to the accusations, Mizkif ordered his then-girlfriend Maya Higa and friend MitchJones to talk Lee out of going public with accusations against Slick. Mizkif claimed these allegations to be false, but has since been placed on leave from his organization, OTK, and is currently under investigation. However, on September 23, MitchJones took to Twitch for the first time in months to tell a different story. While live, he was asked, “Did Miz explicitly give direction to you and Maya and whoever else was in that room to go to Adrianah’s house and to ‘downplay the situation or find a way to save Slick’s ass?’” To which he responded, “Yes.” MitchJones denies he tried to cancel Mizkif During a World of Warcraft stream on October 22, Mitch noticed some viewers were being timed out. He then revealed a message from one of the timed-out users that read, “Hey Mitch, I hate you for trying to cancel Mizkif. You’re a rat and I hope you lose everything.” The streamer then jumped out of his chair while exclaiming, “I didn’t try to cancel Mizkif! Dude, I don’t know if I can sit on this any longer. Miz has asked me to stay quiet, but I don’t know if I can. Like I actually don’t know if I can. I’m so sick of this sh*t.” He quickly moved on to focus on his WoW gameplay without returning to the topic of discussion. However, fans were left wondering what Mitch meant when referring to the information he was “sitting on”. A clip of Mitch’s reaction from a now-deleted stream began circulating the popular LivestreamFails subreddit. Viewers took to the comments to share their thoughts on the matter, including other clips from September of Mitch seemingly contradicting himself. One of the clips was of Mitch having a conversation with Trainwreck where he stated, “You know me, bro. I’m all for this mother f**ker going down. The thing is, I live here and if he hates me then I’m out.” While some viewers argue he was talking about CrazySlick, this quote comes from a conversation where the two are strictly discussing Mizkif. However, Mitch Jones continues to claim he wasn’t trying to get Mizkif canceled.

  • Mixer adds better version of Twitch’s sub-only chats – Dexerto

Mixer adds better version of Twitch’s sub-only chats MixerMixer is adding a new Streamer Review option and the ability to bar viewers from talking who aren’t a certain level, giving streamers a level of moderation that rivals and possibly surpasses Twitch. The announcement that Tyler ‘Ninja‘ Blevins would be moving to Mixer brought a lot of new eyes to Microsoft’s streaming platform. Mixer is still pretty far behind Twitch in terms of features for the platform, but they are trying to make up ground as quickly as possible and have announced a plethora of new features. On August 26, the platform released a community update announcing the new Streamer Review, which will improve validation and monitoring of new Mixer streamers. It will make a streamer wait 24 hours before streaming with a camera, likely a way to improve quality and security on the platform. All streamers will need to do this in order to get a new stream key so they can start broadcasting again. More importantly, a higher level of moderation will be available. Streamers will have the option to block chatters who don’t reach a certain Mixer level, which will help cut back on trolls. For example, you could set the requirement to Level 30 which would automatically mute messages from anyone who doesn’t meet that threshold. Currently, Twitch has a followers-only mode or sub-only mode that will restrict the chatting experience. They can also make it so a viewer has to be following for a certain amount of time before they can chat so it’s not like Twitch is devoid of options. Levels of moderation like this are needed if Mixer is ever going to truly rival Twitch. These chat moderation and restriction tools go live on August 26 while the Streamer Review system will roll out on September 4, but streamers will able to get into an early opt-in period starting August 28.

  • Mitch Jones, Twitch streamer with 15k subs, denied partnership – Dexerto

Mitch Jones, Twitch streamer with 15k subs, denied partnership Twitter: MitchJonez / Instagram: @mitchones3 / TwitchMitch Jones revealed to viewers that Twitch had denied him partnership despite ranking as the 35th most subbed channel on the platform. Mitch Jones was an early adopter of Twitch, growing a loyal fanbase of World of Warcraft followers who were initially drawn to the streamer for his PvP content. Starting streaming in 2011, the influencer’s recent content has been less consistent than his early years – receiving various bans from Twitch, which prevented him from using the platform and losing him his Twitch partnership in 2019. Mitch Jones revealed that he tried to apply for a Twitch partnership again, but the platform wasn’t as receptive to him as before his bans. Mitch Jones promises to “prove” himself after Twitch denial Mitch Jones shared Twitch’s response to his inquiry about partnering again on Twitter. The email response from Twitch told the World of Warcraft streamer, “Unfortunately, we cannot offer you a Partnership at this time. Over 2 million broadcasters livestream on our platform each month, but the Partner Program only consists of a small percentage of them. While we would love to include all of our broadcasters in the program, we must be selective with the channels we accept.” Some Twitch partners like Greek God, and other Kick streamers responded to Mitch Jones’ tweet in the comment section. Streamers who have also previously had troubles with Twitch, like IRL streamer Adin Ross and Overwatch’s Dafran, have moved over to Kick – and viewers speculate if Mitch could do the same.

  • MitchJones claims Mizkif ordered him and Maya to “downplay” CrazySlick allegations – Dexerto

MitchJones claims Mizkif ordered him and Maya to “downplay” CrazySlick allegations MitchJones has broken his silence to answer questions regarding his involvement in the alleged attempt by Mizkif to “cover up” the sexual assault accusation against CrazySlick. On September 19, during a feud between Twitch streamers Mizkif and Trainwreck, allegations were made that Mizkif had orchestrated a cover-up of an alleged sexual assault against streamer Adrianah Lee. This situation was brought to light by Trainwreck who stated, “Mizkif didn’t assault the women, he orchestrated the cover ups for his friends.” This was in reference to a situation from July of 2021 where Lee had posted a TwitLonger regarding an uncomfortable situation involving another streamer, CrazySlick. According to the allegations, Mizkif had sent his then-girlfriend Maya Higa and streamer MitchJones to downplay what had happened to Lee during a party in 2020. Maya went live on Twitch on September 19 to address these claims stating that she did not downplay the situation. But MitchJones has told a different story. MitchJones claims he was sent to “downplay” Lee’s claims MitchJones would go live on Twitch on September 23 for the first time since July 2022 to “address everything that’s going on”. He started the stream by calling the situation “difficult” and “scary” before promising to tell the “entire truth” as he claimed there was a lot of misinformation being spread by those involved. Struggling to turn his thoughts into words, Mitch eventually brought a second party on to help with a Q&A where he could tell his story while answering questions from his chat. The interviewer asked, “Did Miz explicitly give direction to you and Maya and whoever else was in that room to go to Adrianah’s house and to ‘downplay the situation or find a way to save Slick’s ass?’” Without hesitation, Mitch claimed, “The answer to that is yes. That’s not easy for me to say, but that is the answer.” Mitch went on to claim that he and Adrianah are friends and have been in communication during this entire situation. “She’s honestly terrified and she’s overwhelmed. She’s been crying non-stop. She was just saying, like, how thankful she was that I helped her get this story out.” Earlier in the broadcast, Mitch claimed that he was the one that provided Adrianah with Trainwreck’s contact information so he could help with her situation. However, he noted multiple times throughout the broadcast that he felt as if Adrianah’s story was being misused as a weapon rather than a way for the victim to share their story.

Mitch Jones stunned after girlfriend falls for classic Twitch prank on stream Twitch/MitchjonesTwitch streamer Mitch Jones was left bewildered after his Instagram model girlfriend ‘thatirishgirlro’ fell for the oldest trick in the book. Pranking Twitch streamers isn’t exactly an antiquated hobby. Since the site’s inceptin, viewers have found ways to fool streamers by giving them silly advice, trolling through text to speak and other methods. While a streaming veteran like Mitch Jones would be unlikely to fall for classic pranks, his girlfriend, however, proved to be an easy target for Twitch trolls. During a World of Warcraft stream with Ro in control, Twitch chat sprung to action to prank the rookie streamer with a classic button combination troll. Mitch Jones’ girlfriend trolled by Twitch chat With Ro playing WoW, the streamer began asking chat what her powers were and how she could access her abilities. “Press Alt and F4,” she read before inputting the command – without realizing it would close the game. Without warning, Mitch gasped “whoa” and shocked his girlfriend, who had no idea what she had done. “You just got baited, dude. Oh my God. That’s the f**king… Did you just fall for that?” Jones asked. There’s nothing more satisfying than Alt-F4ing someone @MitchJonez pic.twitter.com/d6wMZmm9um — Dexerto (@Dexerto) April 12, 2022 Ro, still unclear on what happened, had to be told that the command made the game close, but she was relieved to learn that the stream was still active. “That is the easiest trick in the book,” Jones said. “You guys are idiots, chat. No one falls for that sh*t anymore because everyone falls for gaming and sh*t. That’s one of the oldest memes on the internet.” While it may be rare to see Alt F4 trick in action, it’s a classic for a reason and one that Twitch chat seems to always get a kick out of. Hopefully, Ro will be a little bit wiser next time she’s in need of assistance from viewers.

  • Mitch Jones denied Twitch partnership again after losing status in 2019 – Dexerto

Mitch Jones denied Twitch partnership again after losing status in 2019 Instagram: @mitchones3 / TwitchPopular streamer Mitch Jones has once again been denied a partnership with Twitch after initially losing his status in 2019 in wake of several bans. Mitch Jones is an OG IRL streamer on Twitch, having been broadcasting on the site for nigh on nine years. However, his expansive career has been fraught with controversy, as he has received a series of bans throughout his time on the platform for such offenses as reading his chat while driving and showing racist messages on camera. In 2019, Jones’ status as a Twitch partner was removed — and although Twitch never gave a reason for this development, many speculated that the broadcaster had received one too many back-to-back bans to warrant his partnership with the site. 🚨 BREAKING: @Twitch #streamer @MitchJonez has been UNBANNED. He is NO LONGER a #Twitch #partner! 🐀🚨 https://t.co/kihUvGP7Oo — StreamerBans (@StreamerBans) October 21, 2019 Since then, Jones has been doing everything he can to renew this status with Twitch. The broadcaster already boasts 558,000 followers and streams on a daily basis, appearing to meet the site’s requirements for partnership. It doesn’t look like his efforts are bearing any fruit, though, as he revealed in a January 7 tweet that he’d been denied, yet again, posting an email he’d received from Twitch in a screenshot. “Hey mitchjones, thank you for applying to the Partner Program,” Twitch’s letter read. “Unfortunately, we cannot offer you Partnership at this time.” The email cuts off after this sentence, leaving out any other explanation that may have been given for their denial — and Mitch’s own caption, “Sadge,” also leaves little to be gleaned from the situation. Although his fans are showing an outpouring of support for the star, it doesn’t seem like he’ll be able to reap any of the benefits of the Partner Program, which include such features as extra emote slots, 60 days of storage for past broadcasts, and more. While Jones’ subscription badge was missing after the removal of his Partner status in 2019, it seems that he’s managed to reach Affiliate again, as fans can now subscribe to his channel. Although he’s still able to earn revenue on his stream, it seems that he won’t get the perks that Partnership brings anytime soon.

Missing woman alleged to have resurfaced in viral TikTok Kennewick Police Department / TikTok: akayallaKennewick Police are investigating after receiving reports that a woman in a viral TikTok appeared to resemble mission person Sofia Juarez, who disappeared just before she turned five in 2003. On February 4, 2003, the day before her fifth birthday, Sofia told her mother she would be going to the store five blocks away with her grandmother’s boyfriend. When the boyfriend returned, he said that the girl had not gone with him, so the family immediately alerted the authorities. Her disappearance was treated as an abduction, but the Amber Alert was canceled after she wasn’t located within 36 hours. 18 years later, a TikTok has gone viral of a man interviewing a woman on the streets of Culican, Sinaloa in Mexico, after people claimed she could be the missing child. In the video uploaded by user akayalla, the mystery woman claimed she is 22-years-old, and that she hates birthdays. Missing YouTube star Etika’s personal belongings found by bridge Instagram: EtikaControversial YouTuber Daniel Desmond ‘Etika‘ Amofah has been missing for almost three days now after posting a video alluding to suicide. Police have now reportedly found his belongings alongside Manhattan Bridge in New York. Concern for Etika first arose at midnight on June 19, following the upload of a scheduled YouTube video titled ‘I’m sorry’ in which he heavily implied he was going to commit suicide. Police have been searching for the YouTuber ever since with no luck, and no friends or family have heard from him either. Now, police have found a number of his personal belongings alongside the Manhattan Bridge in New York, with worries that he may have jumped. Guys , Etika might have actually jumped. pic.twitter.com/YKOTzjkSjt — KEEM  (@KEEMSTAR) June 22, 2019 What did police find? According to a report by the New York Post, police found a number of personal belongings owned by the YouTube star scattered around the Manhattan Bridge. The items included Etika’s New York state driver’s license, alongside several other cards, and his personal wallet. The report also said that they found his cell phone, his Nintendo Switch games console, and a laptop bag containing a shirt, a pair of underwear, shorts, and some headphones. • Misfits Boxing teases KSI vs Fury & Logan Paul vs Dillon Danis for Series 009 mega-card – Dexerto

Misfits Boxing teases KSI vs Fury & Logan Paul vs Dillon Danis for Series 009 mega-card ICBNMisfits Boxing has teased their next major event, where it seems we’ll be seeing KSI vs Tommy Fury as well as Logan Paul vs Dillon Danis on the same card for Series 009. Misfits x DAZN Series 008 was one of the most bizarre influencer boxing cards we’ve seen to date. Headlining a first-of-its-kind four-man ‘Survival Tag Match’ as well as featuring the second tag-team match we’ve seen on a Misfits card, it’s fair to say it was pretty action-packed. With the conclusion of Series 008, it’s now time to look ahead to Misfits and DAZN’s next event, where it looks like we’ll be seeing the long-awaited ‘Prime card’ — where it looks like we’ll see KSI vs Tommy Fury and Logan Paul vs Dillon Danis on the same card. Misfits tease Series 009 mega-card with KSI and Logan Paul Before the final fight of the night on Series 008, Misfits president Mams Taylor took to the stage, where he teased the Series 009 event for all to see. The promotion image shows ‘X’ logo split into four parts, with the top-left corner showing KSI’s famous bandana, and the opposite corner slating the words ‘FURY’ written in fire. On the bottom-right side of ‘X’ a leopard pattern can be seen, which fans are guessing is related to Dillon Danis — who’s known to wear leopard print shorts throughout his time-fighting in the UFC. And to finish off the logo we also see a yellow and black pattern opposite the leopard print, which fans have related to Logan Paul — who has commonly worn a yellow and black outfit in the WWE. The teaser comes after Mams said KSI’s next card would be unlike any other we’ve seen before. “KSI’s next card will be historical, it will be a prime card,” he said in an interview. “In terms of the matches and entertainment no other card in history can compete.” For months now, KSI and Fury have gone back and forth in negotiations, although the two have come to a head when it comes to deciding on some terms. However, with KSI agreeing to meet Tommy Fury’s last condition to make the anticipated fight happen, it looks like it’s finally on. Likewise, Logan Paul and Dillon Danis’ feud has been long-lasting after the UFC star begged DAZN to “send the contract” to fight Logan. With Misfits 009 slated for October 14, it shouldn’t be long till we get some official confirmation for the bouts.

  • Mirei Gundo graduates from Nijisanji following baseball controversy – Dexerto

Mirei Gundo graduates from Nijisanji following baseball controversy NijisanjiNijisanji has confirmed that Mirei Gundo will graduate from the Vtuber agency following a controversial comment about baseball the long-serving talent made three months ago. In March 2023, Nijisanji Vtuber Mirei Gundo posted a series of tweets reacting to an ongoing baseball game. In these tweets, she questioned her fans on the sport in an attempt to better understand it. Most of these tweets were innocuous but one stirred up some controversy after she asked if a strong pitcher could throw the ball at the opponent’s head or body and if doing so would result in a suspension. This upset a lot of Japanese fans pushing the agency to suspend her shortly after. Since that suspension, Mirei Gundo has not posted on social media or streamed even once. Three months on and now her time at Nijisanji is coming to an end. Mirei Gundo is graduating from Nijisanji Japanese talent Mirei Gundo will graduate from Nijisanji on June 21, as announced on the agency’s official Twitter. A fan translation of the statement reads: “We would like to report that upon mutual agreement, Mirei Gundo will graduate from Nijisanji on June 21, 2023. The graduation stream is scheduled to be held at 11 PM on June 21, 2023.” The statement continues: “Her YouTube channel, fan club, Twitter, and other social media related to her will be stopped on June 22, 2023. The sale of content such as goods and voice will also be stopped on that day. Fan letters will be accepted until June 31, 2023.” With the graduation of Mirei Gundo, Nijisanji is losing one of its longest-serving members. Gundo debuted back in January 2019 alongside Yuzuki Roa, forming the duo Mireroa. For Western fans, Gundo’s graduation may seem bizarre as losing such an iconic member over a Tweet that she later apologized for could be perceived as too strong a reaction. But in Japan, baseball is both a national sport and a massive part of its sports culture. It is the country’s most-watched sport annually and has an incredibly passionate following. Furthermore, Nijisanji hosts an annual Vtuber Baseball Championship commonly referred to as Nijisanji Koshien. This event is sponsored by Konami, the publisher of the game used for this popular tournament, Power Pros known in Japan as eBaseball Powerful Pro Baseball. Power Pros uses official licensing from the Nippon Professional Baseball League and the Japan Professional Baseball Players Association. There may have been a risk that Nijisanji could have lost the sponsorship had it reinstated Mirei Gundo. Mirei Gundo is not the first Nijisanji Vtuber this year to exit following a controversy. In March 2023, ex-NijisanjI EN member Zaion Lanza had her contract terminated for making offensive remarks.

  • Miranda Sings YouTube star Colleen Ballinger accused of grooming & bullying underage fans – Dexerto

Miranda Sings YouTube star Colleen Ballinger accused of grooming & bullying underage fans YouTube: Colleen Vlogs / YouTube: Adam McIntyreYoutuber Colleen Ballinger otherwise known as Miranda Sings online, is feeling the heat after serious grooming allegations have been made against her by a former fan. Known for her character Miranda Sings, Colleen Ballinger has been accused of grooming, manipulating, and bullying underage fans. The allegations first arose in 2020 when a former fan, Adam McIntyre, released a shocking video on Youtube. In the video, McIntyre calls out Ballinger’s behavior, describing the inappropriate and toxic friendship he had with the then-30-year-old. Although the video was released two years ago, McIntyre was initially met with backlash as fans of the Youtuber rose to defend her. But with more information coming to light, the allegations have resurfaced again. McIntyre posted a new video on June 8 to Youtube, exposing some of the inappropriate conversations Ballinger allegedly had with minors and how she seemingly manipulated and bullied fans into doing free labor. Alleged conversations taken from a group chat that McIntyre and Ballinger were both a part of included Ballinger asking for an ‘ass’ photo, asking female fans to describe their first period, and making fun of a fan who got a tattoo in her honor. At the time of these conversations, Ballinger was already in her 30s and a majority of the fans included in the chat were supposedly aged between 14-16. However, this did not stop Ballinger from commenting on their appearance, encouraging bullying, and asking inappropriate questions — such as when they lost their virginity. Other accusations made against the Youtuber include inviting McIntyre to visit Ballinger in Dublin, where she ultimately left him alone after repeatedly giving incorrect instructions as to where to go. McIntyre also states that Ballinger seemed annoyed when she found out that his parents would be accompanying him. “I felt abandoned in a city I did not know,” McIntyre said. He was allegedly 14 at the time. McIntyre also claims the Youtuber would use love-bombing to make him feel special, praising and encouraging him to run her social media accounts without pay or accreditation. This would ultimately end their friendship. A particular post that McIntyre made on Ballinger’s behalf received backlash for queerbaiting. Despite McIntyre insisting that all posts were approved by Ballinger beforehand, she apparently ghosted the then-teenager and blamed him for the negative reception. Since the resurfacing of these allegations, many former fans have apologized to McIntyre for dismissing his claims in 2020 and are showing their support for him now. So far, Ballinger has lost 30,000 subscribers on her Colleen Vlogs YouTube channel. And it looks like this decline isn’t slowing anytime soon, with more allegations coming to light. A TikTok posted on June 14 by ‘noitsbecky’ has cast further spotlight on the YouTuber for supposedly exploiting a minor’s body for “entertainment and money”. Ballinger is yet to comment on this new wave of heat, though we’ll be sure to keep you updated as the story progresses.

Miranda Sings YouTuber Colleen Ballinger loses sponsorships amid grooming accusations Colleen Vlogs/YouTubeMiranda Sings actress and social media star Colleen Ballinger has lost sponsors after several people shared their stories of Colleen allegedly grooming them as minors and acting inappropriately with fans during her shows. Famous for her internet character Miranda Sings, YouTuber Colleen Ballinger, 36, is currently facing a wave of backlash after former fans opened up about their experiences with the internet star. Due to the amount of backlash and the number of people that have come forward, Colleen is now losing sponsors. At least two companies who pay for ads on Colleen’s podcast, RELAX! with Colleen Ballinger & Erik Stocklin, have pulled their sponsorship, TMZ reports. Skincare company OneSkin told the publication why they decided to end the partnership. They said: “We were made aware of this previously and have decided to cease the relationship completely. This behavior is appalling and we do not condone or support it in any form.” Telemedicine company Zocdoc has also ended its partnership with Colleen. Why is Colleen Ballinger losing sponsorships? Recently, Ballinger made headlines after former fan Adam McIntyre alleged that she groomed and bullied underage fans. In several videos posted on YouTube and other social media platforms, Adam talked about the inappropriate and toxic friendship he had with the then-30-year-old. This was the second ever video he’d made about this, with his first video receiving backlash from fans when it was published two years ago. Soon after Adam published his video on YouTube, several more people stood up to talk about their experiences with Colleen. One of these is TikToker ‘noitsbecky’, first name Becky, who argued that Colleen has humiliated and exploited minors for entertainment in her shows – including her. the whole bit here was that i “farted” while in this position which is 1) really childish and 2) fucking embarrassing when you’re already in a vulnerable position. i was only a teenager here and you can see that i had to stop and cover myself up before i even stood up. pic.twitter.com/cPQVKAUMQv — becky (@noitsbecks) June 10, 2023 Becky opened up on how she went to one of Colleen’s shows when she was 16 years old and was called up on stage to be part of the show. However, Becky soon got very uncomfortable as they began the ‘yoga challenge,’ which involved Colleen, who was acting as Miranda at the time, controlling the teenager’s body for the audience’s amusement. In one section of the bit, Colleen visibly spread the then-teenager’s legs so far apart that Becky’s spandex became visible to the audience. “I was terrified that my body wasn’t covered enough,” Becky said. “I basically felt naked.” As of yet, Colleen Ballinger has not responded to any of the allegations against her.

Miranda Sings responds to grooming allegations with bizarre ukulele song YouTube: Colleen VlogsYouTuber Colleen Ballinger has addressed ongoing allegations of grooming her young fans in a bizarre video where she sang a song about “toxic gossip” while playing a ukulele. 36-year-old YouTuber Colleen Ballinger, also known as Miranda Sings, has been coming under fire amid accusations of engaging in inappropriate behavior with some of her young fans. As a result, several sponsors have dropped their partnerships with the influencer, including skincare brand OneSkin and Telemedicine company Zocdoc. Although the accusations against Ballinger first surfaced back in 2020, they returned in June 2023 after former fan Adam McIntyre once again exposed inappropriate conversations he’d allegedly had with the YouTuber when he was 14. In a tell-all video, McIntyre claimed that Ballinger had purportedly bullied and manipulated some of her young fans into doing free labor, claiming she would make comments about their appearances and ask them inappropriate questions. Other fans also came forward to share similar experiences, leaving fans looking to Ballinger for a response. Miranda Sings creates bizarre song to address grooming allegations Ballinger has been coming under fire on all sides as a result of these accusations — and after weeks of fans waiting for answers, she finally responded to the situation in a June 28 YouTube video. However, viewers didn’t exactly get the response they likely expected. Instead, Ballinger created a song to address the issue, claiming her management team “strongly advised” her not to “say what I want to say,” but “realized they never said that I couldn’t sing.” Thus, Ballinger went on to sing a ten-minute-long ditty about hopping on a “toxic gossip train” headed for “manipulation station.” “Many years ago, I used to message my fans,” she explained. “But not in a creepy way, like a lot of you are trying to suggest. It was more of a loser kind of way, where I was just trying to be besties with everybody.” She went on to call herself the “weird aunt” of her fanbase and expressed that, at the beginning of her career, she didn’t realize there “should have been some boundaries” between herself and her fans. Ballinger claimed that she has since changed her behavior and taken “accountability” for her actions — but went on to lash out at the allegations against her on the “toxic gossip train,” which is “fueled with hateful accusations.” At the time of writing, commenters appear less than pleased by the YouTuber’s reaction to the situation, with one saying, “You have no shame. This is just mocking people that you’ve hurt at this point.” “You should have listened to your team, girl,” another said. This is just the latest news to come from Ballinger’s situation after more fans spoke up share their own experiences with the YouTuber leading up to her most recent statement.

I wasn’t proud of the videos I was putting up.” That’s not all: he also explained that he’d broken up with longtime girlfriend and popular streamer Sami, who had taken their two dogs in the split as part of their mutual decision. “Are we still friends?” he continued. “Yeah. It was a clean breakup in the sense that we don’t hate each other. It’s not like we’re blocking each other or talking sh*t, or whatever.” While Thompson claimed he won’t be back with daily videos right away, he is “feeling good” after taking some time to recover, and fans are excited to see what he’s got in store for the future.

  • Mini Ladd posts long-awaited apology for innapropriate messages to young fans – Dexerto

Mini Ladd posts long-awaited apology for innapropriate messages to young fans YouTube: MiniLaddYouTuber Craig ‘Mini Ladd’ Thompson has apologized for his actions after a year full of allegations made against him, including accusations that he sent inappropriate messages to children. In June 2020, two women came forward with accusations that Mini Ladd had messaged them inappropriately when they were aged 16 and 17 respectively. One of the women, named Halley, claimed Thompson would use his popularity and power over young fans to solicit nude pictures, and engage in inappropriate conversations. Mini Ladd first apologized in September, addressing the accusations, admitting they were true and taking “full responsibility.” Mini Ladd offers full “transparency” On December 28, Thompson uploaded another YouTube video on the situation, ‘My Apology’, where he shows more messages between himself and the women. He claims that he had tried to take his own life at the start of 2017, and this had caused him to do erratic things as he “wanted to go down swinging.” “To Halley and Ash, I’m sorry guys,” Thompson says in his apology video. “You were my friends, I failed you. I was only thinking of myself and I was being stupid. And I wish I could take it all back.” “I also wanted to add in here, that a lot of people think I haven’t apologized to these girls,” he explains, before confirming that he messaged the women privately to apologize, despite objections from his “PR team.” He shows a screenshot of the message sent, but blurs the content to keep it private. “The reason why it’s taken me so long to make this video, is I was scared,” Thompson concludes. “That’s the reason I went back to Northern Ireland – not to ‘flee charges’ – but just to go back with my family. “I’ve been in therapy for the past six months, and as much as I know I’ve broke your guys’ trust, I don’t expect daffodils and rainbows after this, I want you guys to build up trust in me over time.” After 12 hours of going live, the video has accumulated over 30,000 likes to 7,000 dislikes. While there is a mix of support and anger in comments, the video is possibly in response to “Mini Ladd Doesn’t Deserve A Second Chance” – uploaded by SoCloseToToast on December 18. The YouTuber explains why even despite admissions and apologies, Mini Ladd hasn’t done enough to warrant regaining anyone’s trust. Whether his latest apology and explanation is enough to satisfy fans remains to be seen in 2021.

Mini Ladd apologizes for sending “unacceptable” messages to young fans YouTube: MiniLaddYouTuber Craig ‘Mini Ladd’ Thompson has broken his silence and issued an apology after two woman revealed “unacceptable” messages he had sent to them, as young fans. On June 23, two women came forward with their own stories, independent of each other, detailing a series of events in which Mini Ladd coerced them into awkward messages and sent unsolicited nudes when they were aged 16 and 17. One statement, posted in a Twitlonger by a woman named Halley, reveals how Thompson would use his position of power over young fans to solicit nude pictures from them. The statement also says that he made them engage in sexual conversations that they were not comfortable with, with Halley herself adding that she was a minor at the time. Halley’s story was corroborated by another fan named Ash who, when she was 17, says that Thompson did similar things with her, saying that once they stopped talking, she realized that “someone I looked up to and admired took advantage of that to get what he wanted.” On June 25, Thompson addressed the allegations on Twitter – admitting that they were true and that his actions were “unacceptable,” taking “full responsibility” for his inappropriate behavior. Apologizing for his decisions to send the messages and pictures, Mini Ladd said: “I am truly and deeply sorry for what I did. I absolutely should have done what was necessary at the time, and that was seeking professional help, realizing that my actions were completely unacceptable, and working to change my behaviors from the inside out.” He added that he will be “fully committed to working on himself” moving forward, including going to therapy and rethinking some of his life choices. Thompson finished his statement by saying that he “has a long road of personal searching” ahead of him, and that he will be back when the time is right. The two young women came forward following an outpouring of allegations against top personalities in the esports and gaming worlds, with accusations made against Destiny streamer SayNoToRage the catalyst for much of the bravery of the women coming forward. Other top personalities such as Syndicate and HenryG have also come out to clear their names in the past few days.

Mini Ladd defends himself as new allegations mount against him YouTube: Mini Ladd[jwplayer smynPnSq] YouTuber Craig ‘Mini Ladd’ Thompson has released a new video, defending himself against new allegations that have mounted against him. In June 2020, the Irish YouTube star was forced to publicly apologize after a number of young fans stepped forward to detail the “unacceptable” messages he had sent them, taking “full responsibility” for his inappropriate behavior. After several weeks of minimal interaction online, with only one or two tweets and updates here and there, Thompson has released a video “clearing the air” on the issue — and addressing new allegations that have been made against him. On August 29, a Twitter user going by the name of Miles published a thread of tweets detailing her experience as a 13-year-old girl at Camp17, a ‘gamer camp’ set up by Thompson and other creators. In the thread, she says he would, among other things, “take advantage of the girls at the camp,” calling them cute or pretty and sitting “uncomfortably close” to them. https://twitter.com/Milesilesiles/status/1299527863750864896?s=20 Several days later, Mini Ladd has now posted a response addressing the accusation after the thread picked up steam, denying the allegations. In the video, Craig addresses the accusations point-by-point. Starting with the photo of himself and the two other YouTubers holding the girl up, she claims that he asked to lift her, but he says the exact opposite: she asked them to lift her. He also adds that “at no point were any of us unmonitored,” and accusations that he called them cute or pretty are “completely fabricated and untrue.” Timestamp 2:27 At the end of the video, Thompson says that “I wanted to address the new stuff coming out and stick up for myself by telling the truth,” a definitive statement on where he stands on the matter. He also takes the opportunity to make a promise to his fans: “I will be better” he says. “I will continue to use my platform for good. I want this channel to be somewhere that people can come in and feel welcomed and leave with a smile on their face. That’s all that I want.” Mini Ladd currently has 5.58m subscribers on YouTube at the time of writing; down around 160,000 from when the accusations were first made against him back in June.

  • Minecraft YouTuber Technoblade explains why he’s joined TikTok but won’t post – Dexerto

Minecraft YouTuber Technoblade explains why he’s joined TikTok but won’t post TikTok / YouTube: TechnobladeTechnoblade, a popular Minecraft YouTuber, has finally joined TikTok in an attempt to combat an impersonator account with over 300k followers — though claims he has no plans on posting anything else on the platform. Thanks to TikTok’s ever-increasing popularity, countless creators who are well-known on other platforms have made their way over to the viral video app to start up their own accounts and build a following there too. This includes some YouTubers who are known for their entertaining Minecraft content, like TommyInnit, who has gained over 4.9 million followers on his account thanks to his entertaining videos. The latest to join the ranks on TikTok is YouTuber Technoblade, who is known for being a part of the wildly popular Dream SMP, and multiplayer Minecraft server started by YouTuber Dream, which features some huge creators. Technoblade uploaded the first video to his account ‘iamtechnoblade’ on March 19, with the caption, “Technoblade wall reveal.” As he pointed his camera at the wall he said, “hello citizens of TikTok. It is I, the real Technoblade. My username is @iamtechnoblade because all the cooler usernames were taken by internet hooligans, not happy about this. Anyways I’m here because there’s some guy on this app impersonating me, he’s got like 300,000 followers,” he explained. To prove it was really him the YouTuber even brought his dog Floof on camera. Celebrity impersonation accounts with large follower counts seem to be fairly common occurrences on TikTok. In the past, fake accounts of actors like Tom Holland have gained millions of followers on the platform, with many unable to tell whether the stars have really made an account on the app. However, Technoblade’s account does appear to be the real deal, as he even uploaded the TikTok to his YouTube channel so that his subscribers don’t have to download the app to view the video. It doesn’t appear that he is planning on uploading to the account particularly often, as in the pinned comment under his YouTube video he wrote, “just joined to dunk on impersonators, don’t download the app expecting me to actually post anything lmao.” Technoblade already has over 600,000 followers on TikTok, with his first video getting over two million views and 700,000 likes.

The controversy has certainly got communities divided as people try to get to the bottom of the allegations. • Minecraft streamers TommyInnit, Tubbo & more dominate Twitch after Dream SMP finale – Dexerto

Minecraft streamers TommyInnit, Tubbo & more dominate Twitch after Dream SMP finale YouTube: TommyInnit / TubboStreamers who are part of Dream’s SMP Minecraft server such as TommyInnit, Tubbo, Quackity, and more, are topping the list of the fastest growing streamers on Twitch following an SMP finale stream. The Minecraft community has experienced a giant surge in popularity throughout the past year, with the 2011 game providing a central focus for a huge number of streamers who have seen a boost in their follower count recently. Largely this resurgence in popularity is due to the huge multi-streamer server named the ‘Dream SMP.’ Dream is a popular Minecraft speedrunner and YouTuber, and while the SMP (survival multiplayer server) started off as a simple fun server, it quickly progressed into remarkably detailed roleplay and lore, which has captivated fans across the world. The story of the Dream SMP features wars, betrayal, revolutions, and more, and these plotlines are acted out and developed by a huge host of streamers who have all appeared in the server or in content relating to the server. Dream SMP dominate fastest-growing channels Following a ‘finale’ stream that saw an end to part of the developing story, many of these Dream SMP streamers are shooting to the top of the ranks on Twitch, dominating the fastest-growing streamers list. Read More: Who is Karl Jacobs? – According to SullyGnome, 16-year-old Tommy is the fastest-growing account on the platform, with his average viewers at a whopping 300,000. This follows his finale stream in which he peaked at around 650,000 viewers. (Note: The top channel here, elpront0, is the victim of a follow bot, and so those numbers are discounted) Close behind Tommy, and all within the top ten fastest-growing streamers for the seven days leading up to January 24, are fellow SMP streamers awesamdude, Tubbo, RanbooLive, Quackity, Foolish Gamers, Sapnap, and Philza. To see this list dominated by one group of people is certainly a testament to the growing popularity of the Dream SMP group. With so many creators on board, the amount of content is practically endless, and clearly a huge amount of work has gone into developing the lore. Now this finale has passed, fans will be keen to know what’s going to happen next in the world of the Dream SMP, and there’s no doubt that this interest will provide an even bigger boost in numbers for these streamers.

  • Minecraft streamer smashes setup in rage after hardcore mode fail – Dexerto

Minecraft streamer smashes setup in rage after hardcore mode fail Twitch: WizardYensid / MojangMinecraft streamer ‘WizardYensid’ found himself in an intense situation while playing the popular sandbox’s hardcore mode which resulted in the Twitch personality taking his rage out on his setup. WizardYensid is known for his awful microphone, which leaves listeners with sore ears after they are bombarded with a blown out wall of sound every time he talks or when it picks up noise from anything and everything. During his September 18 stream, viewers were met with a nuclear soundblast when the Twitch streamer raged out after a failure in Minecraft’s hardcore mode, and his shoddy mic caught it all in its compressed glory. Hardcore mode failure The streamer found himself in a tricky situation when he was swarmed by a zombie horde at night, which had managed to get inside his house and surround it. As he escaped to the outside, his mouth hung open during the intense situation, when he ran directly into a zombie who ended up killing him. Read More: Artist questions future of Twitch – Almost immediately, the Minecraft streamer slammed his deck in rage, and angrily knocked his camera over. His poor quality microphone picked up the pain-inducing sound, as he could be heard screaming in the background. While most of the chat seemed to be amused by his outburst, some were giving him a hard time, with one person telling him to kill himself. Understandably, WizardYensid got upset, and gave the person a time out, before continuing to scream about his in game death. “Sad and pathetic!” he said in reply to user who insulted him. “Shut the fuck up and you go kill yourself!” he repeated, before angrily mocking his chat as he went to start a new game. The Twitch streamer then took a shot at some in his chat again, and said “You are all fucking stupid!” before he screamed in pure rage. Why was he so mad? Minecraft has five modes that include survival, creative, adventure, hardcore, and spectator. In the game’s hardcore mode, death are permanent and there is no respawning which means that even after hours of building and obtaining materials, players lose everything. This gives the sandbox high stakes, as any random encounter suddenly becomes a fight for survival out of fear of losing all the progress that you’ve made up to the point. Read More: Complete Minecraft without a single step – And WizardYensid learned this the hard way, as he lost everything after being killed by the zombie horde which sent him into a fit of rage. While the ear splitting noise can be too much for some, clearly it appeals to many as the streamer currently has over 69,000 followers on Twitch as of the time of this article.

  • Minecraft streamer Tommyinnit hits huge YouTube milestone after 1m subscribers in a month – Dexerto

Minecraft streamer Tommyinnit hits huge YouTube milestone after 1m subscribers in a month twitch.tv/tommyinnitMinecraft YouTuber Tommyinnit has gained 1 million YouTube subscribers over the span of just one month to take him over the 4 million mark, in another landmark moment in his surge in popularity. At the start of the year, Tommyinnit was a Twitch streamer with a relatively modest following. He had just under 26k followers and averaged roughly 500 viewers per stream. However, in the past few months his popularity has ballooned to the point that he’s become easily the fastest-growing Twitch streamer on the platform. This boost in popularity is largely down to him joining the Dream Team Survival Multiplayer server – a Minecraft multiplayer story featuring a variety of big figures in the Minecraft scene, like Dream himself, who battle for control of the land. He first joined back in July. Tommyinnit regularly streams his Minecraft adventures on Twitch, then takes the highlights and uploads them to YouTube, where he’s lately seen a monumental rise in popularity. On December 3, he was celebrating reaching 3 million subs. By the end of Christmas Day, he’d reached 4 million in a meteoric rise for the 16-year-old. best christmas present ever, seriously, thank you all so much!! — TommyInnit (@tommyinnit) December 25, 2020 Whether Tommyinnit will maintain this insane growth trajectory in the long-term remains to be seen, but his following is tremendously active. His peak viewership of 319,086 is the 3rd highest of all-time on Twitch, and his December 23rd stream, where, according to TwitchMetrics, he peaked at 193k, is 65K more concurrent viewers than Shroud’s record viewership. Read More: Who is Tommyinnit? – If his domination of Twitch isn’t enough, he’s become one of YouTube’s most actively viewed channels too. Throughout December, his YouTube videos have been getting no fewer than 2.5m views each. This isn’t too far off the sort of numbers PewDiePie gets. What makes Tommyinnit’s rise even more impressive is that he’s still in school. In fact, he once had to end a stream early after he realized he had an essay due the next day, which he hadn’t managed to get done. We quite simply haven’t seen a content creator rise in popularity and prominence like this before. Where he goes from here remains to be seen, but he’s definitely one-to-watch for 2021.

  • Minecraft streamer devastated after terrible luck ruins hardcore save – Dexerto

Minecraft streamer devastated after terrible luck ruins hardcore save Twitch streamer Loeya was left furious after some bad luck with Minecraft cost her the chance to take on the game’s Ender Dragon and racking up an incredibly high score. Despite releasing back in 2009 in numerous test forms, Mojang’s Minecraft has had a popularity resurgence in mid 2019. YouTube king Felix ‘PewDiePie’ Kjellberg has racked up millions of views with his solo playthrough, while other content creators and Twitch streamers have also jumped on board. Some, like Felix ‘xQc’ Lengyel, have messed up in a big way due to a lack of experience, yet, the game even crushes the hopes and dreams of more seasoned players. During her August 17 stream, Loeya had been preparing to go ‘The End’ – a portion of the game that tasks players with defeating the Ender Dragon, the game’s most powerful adversary. The streamer prepared herself with a number of potions, trying to ensure that she had a safe landing before doing battle. However, as she jumped through the Ender Portal, Loeya was given a tiny landing platform and promptly walked off – slowly falling to her death. “Are you shitting me?” she yelled. The streamer tried, in vain, to Ender Pearl herself skywards but failed and continued her descent to death. As she fell far enough, Loeya was killed by the game, ending her hardcore solo game after hours of hard work. In her frustration, the streamer even walked away from the stream – releasing her anger with another scream. Despite the annoyance, Loeya went back to analyze what had gone wrong with her quest. Using the creative cam, she quickly recognized that a platform had spawned. “Nice spawn point brother,” she said, before realizing that she must have landed right on the edge of the platform – basically given no chance to see the floor beneath her. Of course, with this being hardcore Minecraft, the hard work has to begin again from the start – unless you’ve managed to back your progress with a save. Yet, if you’re doing that, why not just play survival mode instead?

  • Minecraft streamer embarrassed after mom rages over report card grade – Dexerto

Minecraft streamer embarrassed after mom rages over report card grade MinecraftA teenage Minecraft streamer had his Twitch broadcast come to an abrupt end after his mother saw his report card and kicked him off the computer. Early on into an April 38 broadcast, streamer ‘CA_Snipez’s’ mom asked him to send her his report card for the semester, but apparently was unclear about his grades. Only minutes into the broadcast, the streamer’s mother called out to him off-screen. “Garrett,” she cried. “What?” he asked, adjusting his headphones to properly hear her. “Get off the computer now. Turn off the computer now!” she demanded, much to the dismay of the teen. “Why?” he wondered, wanting to get back to Minecraft. “A C-minus?!” she blasted her son, clearly upset at his lackluster grade. “Off the computer.” While the streamer tried to talk some sense into his mom and suggested that he had already told her about the poor grade, she refused to budge and insisted her son end his stream. “Why am I getting off?” he questioned his mother, who said she wanted him to start work on some school assignment. “You told me you had a C!” she angrily roared and demanded her son get off yet again. “Off the computer, there will be no gaming.” “Jesus Christ,” CA_Snipez said under his breath, promoting an explosion of rage by his mother. “I beg your pardon?!” she screamed. “You don’t say that!” Before the situation could escalate any further, the teen evaluated his options and opted to end his stream in the event things got even worse. Parents interrupting streams isn’t exactly a new thing, but it does make for great entertainment. As Dexerto previously reported, just in the past week, a father had an incredible reaction after his son slammed a desk in a heated moment and another parent embarrassed her daughter by telling her to “keep her clothes on.” Whether for good or ill, parents certainly seem to make their children’s live streams interesting

  • Minecraft streamer devastated after 160 hour run ruined by small mistake – Dexerto

Minecraft streamer devastated after 160 hour run ruined by small mistake Sips / MojangTwitch streamer and YouTuber Sips was 168 hours into a session of Minecraft on hardcore mode, when a misclick during a simple task cost him all of his progress. You hate to see that. Hardcore modes in video games are legendary for how brutal they can be. When you die, you die, and you lose all your progress. Minecraft added Hardcore mode when it officially released in 2011, and added a multiplayer hardcore mode a year later. For single player, the server world is deleted upon death. Sips, a streamer and YouTuber under the Yogscast gaming group, had been playing a hardcore session for nearly a week heading into his September 21 stream. From humble beginnings, he had built a vast Minecraft empire, and was in the process of creating an iron golem farm. But during that process, disaster struck. Sips was in the middle of moving wooden signs, and when he want to go break another sign, he accidentally struck one of the iron golems. Obviously upset, the iron golem retaliated, and smacked the streamer into the lava fixture nearby. He momentarily escaped by pushing through the pack of iron golems that weren’t attacking, but the one he slapped in the face eventually caught up to him and killed him as he tried to escape. Sips expressed dismay at the golem’s ability to strike him, but eventually anger and denial gave way to grief and acceptance. “Oh fuck chat, we lost everything.” After losing his life to a golem that was meant to die, the streamer activated spectator mode and flew over the expansive world that he had built for himself, and lamented over all the progress and buildings he had lost. The Minecrafter dismissed the idea of editing files or cheating to restore the lost world, but later on Twitter acknowledged his mistake and promised to give a hardcore run another go. “I died. 168 hours down the drain. starting again on attempt 6 monday morning because I hate myself that much.” i died. 168 hours down the drain. starting again on attempt 6 monday morning because i hate myself that much — sips (@Sips_) September 21, 2019 Better luck next time, Sips. And please turn off the iron golem spawner during your next build.

  • Minecraft streamer beats Ender Dragon using only his feet – Dexerto

Minecraft streamer beats Ender Dragon using only his feet Mojang/TwitchA Twitch streamer by the name Ezray has stunned fans by defeating Minecraft’s infamous Ender Dragon – while only using his feet. In terms of video game bosses and antagonists, few are as well known as Minecraft’s Ender Dragon. It can breathe fire and fireballs, and traverse Minecraft’s robotic world with intimidating ease. As the final boss of the original Minecraft, no other actual Minecraft opponents really comes close to its notoriety and infamy. However, while defeating the dragon has become known as very tough, one Twitch streamer overcame the task in a truly unique way. During a September 13 live stream, Ezray decided that an entertaining challenge would be to try and overcome Minecraft with only his feet. It was definitely an ambitious task but, with only 33 followers on the streaming platform, Ezray’s clips have amassed thousands of views and since gone viral. In particular Ezray’s clip of overcoming the Ender Dragon, in which he can be heard urging his feet on in the closing moments. A big explosion sees Ezray pull out the Iron Axe and, with multiple well-aimed swipes, the Ender Dragon falls. “Yes, we did it!” Ezray yelled. “It’s finally happened. I’m so f**king done with this game. Oh god… what is happening? We did it.” Ezray’s newly accumulated viewership were delighted to see the streamer triumph with only his feet, with his full VOD available to view in a bizarre but surprisingly entertaining spectacle. It’s not the first time we’ve seen a game played in a unique way. Just a few weeks ago, a Modern Warfare streamer went viral upon eliminating enemies while using a drum kit. Imagine dying to someone with drum sticks in their hands.

We’ve seen streamers like Pokimane take time off streaming, influenced by factors like burnout and being overworked. Other streamers like DisguisedToast have cited mental health as the reason for taking breaks from social media, saying “I’m addicted to that dopamine when people are talking to me. • Minecraft star TommyInnit reveals his most “bizarre” interaction with IRL hater – Dexerto

Minecraft star TommyInnit reveals his most “bizarre” interaction with IRL hater YouTube: AnthonyPadilla / Pexels.com: Craig AdderlyTommyInnit is one of the biggest Minecraft content creators on the internet — but despite his sprawling fanbase, not everyone is enthusiastic about his streams and videos. The life of a social media star certainly seems like a charmed one; garnering millions upon millions of fans, scoring big cash from major brand deals and essentially being a celebrity are all definite perks to the job. However, not every facet of the influencer lifestyle is a positive one. More so than A-List actors and Grammy-winning singers, internet celebs tend to share more of their private lives with their viewers, resulting in (sometimes toxic) parasocial relationships. Sometimes, fans — and haters — can take these parasocial relationships too far, with many influencers sharing horror stories of being stalked by haters or having their homes broken into by fans. While TommyInnit, a hugely popular Minecraft personality with over 9 million YouTube subscribers and one of the fastest-growing Twitch channels, has no such harrowing tales, he did share a “bizarre” encounter he experienced with a hater in real life. During an interview with fellow YouTuber Anthony Padilla, TommyInnit claimed that he’d been approached by an angry viewer while hanging out with a friend. “I had a hater once come up to me and go, ‘Your channel is a**!’” Tommy regaled to a laughing Padilla. “And I was like, ‘What?’ And then me and my friend kind of lost our s**t, and he looked really angry and went, ‘It – it – it’s s**t!’” “It’s fair enough if you don’t like someone,” the Minecrafter continued. “But to then shout it? Like, he must’ve really been in the portion of viewers that found me annoying at first. …just being a d**k, you know? I was like, ‘What the hell?’ It was so bizarre!” (Topic begins at 8:36) Tommy is well aware that, being a public figure, he can’t exactly pop off on his hater in the same way, with the YouTuber himself joking that he realized, “Oh wow, I can’t go out and be a d**k in public with my friends!” when he reached a certain level of internet fame. While there’s always a dark side to stardom, Tommy seems to be taking it all in stride — even finding humor in otherwise hairy situations such as his incident with the angry hater.

  • Minecraft Reddit blasted as mod says man “milked” girlfriend’s death for karma – Dexerto

Minecraft Reddit blasted as mod says man “milked” girlfriend’s death for karma Reddit: B_freeoniThe Minecraft subreddit is in uproar after a mod deleted one man’s tribute to his late girlfriend, claiming he’d “milked” her passing for karma. The Minecraft community is full of incredibly passionate players who have built some shockingly impressive structures in the block-based sandbox game. From recreating the entirety of King’s Landing to building a faithful in-game version of Hogwarts school of Witchcraft and Wizardry, there’s no limit to the human imagination when it comes to Minecraft. At the tail end of November 2022, a user on the Minecraft subreddit called ‘B_freeoni’ revealed that his girlfriend of five years had passed away, leaving behind an unfinished build she’d started in his realm. Although it was just the foundation for a house or castle, the redditor wanted to memorialize the special spot to honor his girlfriend’s memory, and the community offered a slew of possibilities for him to do so. A while later, the player returned with an update to his original post, showing that he’d created a beautiful tree hung with lanterns in the middle of the base foundation. Unfortunately, the redditor’s post was removed by moderators. When he disputed the post’s removal, the mods explained their reasoning in a private message. One of the reasons mentioned was that no “chain posting” was allowed within “only a couple of days since the original post,” with the site’s new updated rules asking users to “add your updates as comments” instead. They also mentioned that memorial posts (which fall under ‘tired submissions’) are prohibited from being posted. However, these two strict rules weren’t what got the Minecraft Reddit riled up. Instead, it’s what the mod said afterward: “You milked the death of your girlfriend for enough karma at this point.” The redditor posted his conversation with the moderator, which spread across the Minecraft subreddit like wildfire. Users across the sub were speaking out against the moderation team, with some even saying they’d leave altogether. On December 1, the moderation team posted a public apology to the Redditor, saying “a user’s dispute in a private moderation mail was badly dealt with by us.” “On behalf of the team I apologize for the poor judgment used in the reply, and I personally apologize to u/B_freeoni,” they wrote. “It should not have happened and we will be handling this internally to make sure it does not happen again. Also, our plans are still in progress for a wholesale rules revision for the subreddit to make them clearer and simpler.” Thus far, the redditor has continued to build upon his late girlfriend’s foundation in light of all the support he’s received from the community, saying that he “was met with so much love and positivity, it made me go through with the build.”

  • Minecraft star explains why YouTube’s monetization system is “garbage” – Dexerto

Minecraft star explains why YouTube’s monetization system is “garbage” Sips, Twitch / TSMCMinecraft star Chris ‘Sips’ Lovasz has taken aim at YouTube and its monetization system, after the video-sharing platform flagged his compilation clip nearly immediately after it was uploaded. Sips has a long and illustrious history creating Minecraft content, rising to fame after joining the Yogscast content team in 2009, producing videos based around the Microsoft-owned game, and regularly streaming his adventures in the block-based game. Lovasz first began using YouTube to host his content in December 2011, sharing Let’s Play videos and walkthroughs. Since then he’s made the swap to streaming on Twitch, where he now has nearly 370,000 followers, and it’s safe to say he’s not looking back. The Minecraft aficionado rolled out a damning indictment of YouTube and its monetization policies on his October 3 stream, dubbing the long-standing platform “garbage,” and calling the admins behind the site “idiots.” “It’s time for a bit of real talk,” he said. “We published a clip compilation to YouTube the other day, we put it on there to get some content back on our YouTube channel so that it doesn’t just die, even though it’s been dormant for nearly two years. “Already — already! — that compilation has been flagged for limited monetization.” The streamer, who first plied his trade on YouTube when he was initially starting out with the Yogscast team, didn’t hold back as he revealed his exact thoughts on the direction the video-sharing platform has gone in regards to supporting content creators. “Fucking YouTube is such a garbage platform, it is just fucking stupid, and it’s run by idiots. So where is the motivation to keep making more content for a platform that just punishes you, you know what I mean? What have I got to do? It’s so fucking stupid,” he said. Despite the angry outburst, Sips admitted that he had forgotten some of the 1.85 million viewers that had helped grow his content on his channel, and revealed that he would put aside his simmering hatred for the platform to create some YouTube-only videos. “In a renewed commitment to previous YouTube audiences, and for people that can’t catch the streams or feel left out of the loop, I’m going to record some stuff specifically for YouTube but it will be around the stuff we’re doing on-stream,” Lovasz said. One moment that Sips caught on his stream that YouTube audiences might have loved to see straight away was an unlucky incident during his 168-hour hardcore playthrough. After grinding out a small kingdom in the one-life world, the streamer fell foul of a hilarious and unfortunate accident that killed his character and deleted his progress, reminding viewers that Mojang’s cartoon-styled adventure game is not always for the faint of heart.
