  • Minato Aqua’s graduation was the most watched VTuber event of all time – Dexerto

Minato Aqua’s graduation was the most watched VTuber event of all time HololiveHololive’s Minato Aqua graduated from Hololive on August 28, marking the occasion with an ambitious concert that attracted more concurrent viewers than any other VTuber event. The celebratory stream lasted just over an hour, featuring a range of songs sung by Aqua and other Hololive members. At its peak, this stream reached 749,854 viewers, the most of any VTuber event in history, as tracked by Playboard. Minato Aqua’s graduation spiked as high as 963,662 concurrent viewers. However, this anomaly was likely a bug in YouTube’s view counting, with the sudden spike only lasting a few moments before correcting itself. Aqua’s graduation also received $237,571 in Superchat revenue, the second most of any stream in the VTuber industry. This feat was only beaten by Kiryu Coco’s graduation on July 1, 2021, which received an unmatched $306,442 in donations from fans. Similarly, Kiryu Coco’s graduation was also the most-watched stream from any VTuber before Aqua’s send-off. It peaked at 483,873 concurrent viewers, an incredible feat that was still comfortably beaten by the Hololive 2nd Generation member. This most recent graduation was not only the second most superchatted VTuber stream of all time but also the eighth most on YouTube altogether, cementing its place as one of the platform’s most historic moments. The stream’s success isn’t too surprising given how rare these occasions are. Despite debuting its first talents back in 2017, Hololive’s main branch has only had three members leave of their own accord: Minato Aqua, Kiryu Coco, and Mano Aloe. It’s a similar story with Hololive EN and Holostars EN, with Tsukumo Sana, Magni Dezmond, and Noir Vesper remaining the only members to do so. However, several others have been terminated for various reasons, like Uruha Rushia and Yozora Mel. Back in 2020, Hololive even went as far as to close down its entire Chinese branch following the infamous Kiryu Coco controversy that led to Cover Corp withdrawing from Bilibili, though they recently made a return to the platform earlier this year.

  • Millions in Twitch charity stream donations allegedly never paid to the charity – Dexerto

Millions in Twitch charity stream donations allegedly never paid to the charity Twitter: OTKA new report alleges that as much as 42% of charity donations raised through streams featuring Ludwig, Asmongold, xQc and more was never given over to the stated charity. The Jacob Wolf Report reports that Softgiving, an Atlanta-based marketing company, played “middleman” between big-name streamers and a charity called Games for Love. Over the course of two years, streams for Games for Love, as well as other charities, featuring as many as 37 creators raised almost $6.2 million. “Yet, according to public records, almost half of that money never went to charity,” the Jacob Wolf Report states. Over 2020 and 2021, the report claims that of the $6.2 million raised by Softgiving (now renamed as Brandfluence) and the streamers, “$2.6 million went to Softgiving to cover its commission and expenses, including influencer fees, those public records show.” Additionally, for 18 months of that period, “Softgiving did not prominently disclose on donation pages” that there were expenses paid to the influencers that would cut into the total amount raised, nor how much Softgiving retained as a commission. Games For Love has since responded to the report, disputing the claims. The figures cited in the article are significantly inaccurate. During the years referenced, Games For Love received funds raised from these campaigns through various channels not just the donor-advised fund. — Games For Love (@GamesForLoveorg) December 21, 2023 “The figures cited in the article are significantly inaccurate,” they said. “During the years referenced, Games For Love received funds raised from these campaigns through various channels not just the donor-advised fund.” Prior to the publication of the report, Brandfluence filed a lawsuit against Jacob Wolf, one of its authors, on December 14, as well as four others including a former Twitch employee and a software engineer. The suit alleges that he had defamed the company, and an attorney demanded that the report not be published. Softgiving also told The Jacob Wolf Report that “it no longer holds performance-based contracts with any nonprofits.” The full report details the various livestreams, featuring creators like xQc, Asmongold, Ludwig, the Botez sisters, AustinShow, and various members of One True King (OTK). Ryan Morrison, who represents xQc, the Botez sisters, and AustinShow told The Jacob Wolf Report in 2021 that he wasn’t told “how the company compensated itself or the influencers.” “We weren’t aware of this information at the time. And now that we are, we will not be working with Softgiving anymore,” Morrison said. The report also highlights a February 2023 charity stream by Hasan, which caused widespread backlash and criticism from fellow streamers including IShowSpeed, when a “templated version” of Softgiving’s commission contract was posted on Twitter – by the software engineer now named in the defamation suit filed by Softgiving.

Since her infamous breakup with Bryce Hall, Rae has gone on to date guitarist Omer Fedi, but some fans are convinced that this pairing has hit rocky waters after she was spotted out with ‘Thanksgiving’ co-star Milo Manheim. Manheim has been gushing about the TikToker in interviews, calling Rae “cute” in a widely-circulated interview with J-14. “I love her so much,” Manheim said. “I’ve known her for a long time, and she just gets cuter and cuter.” Ever since then, fans have been eyeing the two as a possible couple…but Manheim has officially laid those rumors to rest. • Millionaire xQc says he can’t stream on Twitch after forgetting to pay electricity bill – Dexerto

Millionaire xQc says he can’t stream on Twitch after forgetting to pay electricity bill Pixabay/Twitch/xQcPopular Twitch streamer Felix ‘xQc’ Lengyel had his 18 hour GTA RP broadcast abruptly end because he apparently forgot to pay his bills on time. On March 31, the former Overwatch League pro was playing in NoPixel’s GTA RP server with a massive grin on his face when suddenly the stream went offline. It was unclear exactly what had happened to force the Twitch star’s broadcast to end so randomly. Despite all the “F” and “Way Too Dank” spam in the chat, xQc never reappeared, leaving some to worry. A little bit later, Lengyel took to Twitter to reveal that he had somehow forgotten to pay his electricity bill and that’s why the power went out. “Forgot to pay the electricity bill. Power went down, stream did too,” he said. “Will be back on later today or tomorrow. Ups and downs last stream, but overall good!” Some might be wondering how exactly this could even happen, especially in 2021 when everything is automated. It isn’t like xQc, the highest-earning streamer in 2020, couldn’t actually not afford his bill. According to Lengyel, autopay was on, but his credit card limit had been the same since he was just 12-years-old. AUTOPAY WAS ON BUT MY CREDITCARD LIMIT IS THE SAME I HAD WHEN I WAS 12 SO SOMETIMES ITS EMPTY AND PAYMENT CANT GO THROUGH. JUST CANADIAN BANK STUFF MOVE ALONG — xQc (@xQc) March 31, 2021 “Sometimes it’s empty and payment can’t go through,” the streamer revealed. “Just Canadian bank stuff, move along.” Other streams, such as Alinity poked fun at Felix not paying the bills. “That streamer life,” she joked to the tune of two laughing emojis. “This happened to me more times than I care to admit.” Of course, xQc wasn’t the only one affected by the power problems. His roommate, who was just revealed to be his partner, Adept also had her stream die. It came at an unfortunate time too, as she was pushing for a longer broadcast. Damn I was gonna try to push for a longer stream but we forgot to pay our electric bill so they shut us down, see yall after a nappy nap 🙂 — adept. (@adeptthebest) March 31, 2021 While the power may be out in the French Canadian’s household for now, the juice is definitely still flowing when it comes to his relationships. Hopefully, he can get his credit card information sorted quickly so the streaming antics can return soon.

Wife of millionaire faces backlash Many TikTok users in the comments criticized Sofia’s message and judged the social media star for her way of thinking. “So we’re going back 100 years to being dependent on a man’s salary again? Great message,” one person wrote. “Women like you are so shallow, always only thinking about material objects,” another said. “Relationship is not all about money, being with someone who’s not rich but is working hard to achieve their goals doesn’t mean you are lowering your standards,” a third shared. But there were others who were on the TikToker’s side. “I’m tired of working, I wouldn’t mind a man who can provide for me,” one commented. “We are independent but we need this,” another agreed. “Girl I don’t even need a reminder, I just need PRAYER,” someone else said. • Millionaire reveals the one thing all rich people do with their money – Dexerto

Millionaire reveals the one thing all rich people do with their money TIKTOK: taylor_money_A millionaire took to TikTok to reveal the one thing rich people do completely differently when it comes to money. TikToker and US-based millionaire taylor_money_ has amassed a following by offering tips and advice to people aspiring to achieve financial success. In one of his latest videos, the 42-year-old shared the one thing all “rich people” do differently when it comes to money, saying it has nothing to do with how much they have in the bank. “The number one thing that rich people do differently is they see the function of money for what it is actually meant to be,” he explained in the clip, which has racked up over 2.4 million views. “Poor people think money exists to pay bills and keep themselves out of debt. They work for someone Monday to Friday, they exchange their time for money and then they give it to someone else,” he said. “It’s a great way to scrape by life and never get ahead.” As for middle-class people, Taylor explained that they view money as a way to “build credit” so they can secure loans to “buy bigger houses, bigger boats, bigger cars, whatever.” Meanwhile, rich people “know the function of money is expansion,” according to the TikToker who became a millionaire in his 20s. “[It] is to use the money that you make to make more money,” he said. “Only when you start to see money for what it actually is, a vehicle for your own expansion, then the opportunities to make more money or expand start presenting themselves for you to take.” Taylor’s video has sparked mixed reactions from TikTok users, with one person commenting: “Yes, but first you need money to make more money.” However, another agreed with his advice, writing: “Even people with $5 in their pocket can use this mindset!! I think it’s awesome.” For more entertainment news and other viral stories, be sure to check out our coverage.

  • Millennial TikToker gets roasted by her Gen Z friend for wearing sunglasses wrong – Dexerto

Millennial TikToker gets roasted by her Gen Z friend for wearing sunglasses wrong TikTok: jordanharpernpA Millenial sparked a debate on TikTok about how to correctly wear a pair of sunglasses after her Gen Z friend called her out for wearing them the wrong way. As if Millennials weren’t already being called out enough on TikTok for their lingo, outfit choices, and more, Gen Z has found yet another way to rag on the older generation of TikTok users. In a now-viral video on the popular social media platform, a Millennial by the name of Jordan Harper sparked a debate about how to wear sunglasses, as her Gen Z friend made fun of the way she wore hers. Though some TikTokers agreed with Harper on how to adjust sunglasses on one’s face, others were quick to say they didn’t even know there was a ‘right’ way to wear their shades. Millennial TikToker gets called a “PR nightmare” for wearing sunglasses the ‘wrong’ way As a leading social media platform, TikTok doesn’t necessarily have a target audience, as its content is applicable to just about anybody over the age of 18, despite people even younger using it. In fact, those who were born between the years of 1981 and 1996, who are also considered a Millennial, make for at least 30% of TikTok users, while Gen Z’ers who are between the ages of 9 and 24 make for at least 60% of TikTok users. Being that there are various age ranges using TikTok, it’s inevitable that debates between Millennials and Gen Z’ers arise — and when Harper put on her sunglasses in front of her younger friend, that’s exactly what happened. In her now-viral TikTok video, Harper can be seen wearing fashionable black cat eye shades as she jokingly said, “I just want to let you know what kind of absolute bullying I’ve been receiving all day… all day!” Harper continued, “They (Gen Z friends) think it’s so funny! Laugh it up, because let me tell you something — the way I wear my sunglasses isn’t good enough for these people.” The Millenial TikTok user proceeded to place her sunglasses snug to her face, far up on her nose, while her Gen Z friend urged her that ‘normal’ people wear their shades a few centimeters down on their nose, exposing the upper lash and part of the eyelid. Her friend can then be heard calling the way Harper wore her sunglasses a “PR nightmare.” Those who have seen Harper’s TikTok video have since taken to the comments section to answer Harper’s question, “How do you wear your sunglasses?” One viewer stated an apparent observance, saying, “I didn’t know there was a wrong way to wear sunglasses. I just put them on.” However, others were eager to share their opinions, as one commented agreeing with Harper, saying, “Gen X here and I wear them like yourself because I also have standards. And those standards are to see in the f—ing sun!” Another viewer was on the fence about how to wear them, saying, “I need sunglasses to block the sun. If I’m wearing them for style then I wear them lower on a cloudy day and higher when it’s actually sunny.” Though opinions on how to wear sunglasses varied across the board, one thing was made clear, and it’s that sunglasses are for both style and protection.

Millie Bobby Brown details “unhealthy” relationship with popular TikToker INSTAGRAM: MILLIEBOBBYBROWNActress Millie Bobby Brown has opened up about her past “unhealthy” relationship with TikToker Hunter Ecimovic. In a recent interview with Allure, the ‘Stranger Things‘ star shared some exclusive details about her relationship with the TikToker for the first time. Millie revealed to Allure that she was in an “unhealthy situation” with Hunter, and that she “walked away” from him in 2021. Later that year, the TikToker made went on Instagram Live, claiming that the two were in a “sexual relationship” when the actress was “a minor.” Millie Bobby Brown reflects on relationship with Hunter Ecimovic “I felt very vulnerable,” Millie told Allure in their cover story. “Also, no one on the set knew I was going through this. So, it was kind of nice to be able to just deal with that myself and no one else knew. Then it was harder when the whole world knew.” She noted that she had moved on and was in a relationship with Jake Bongiovi, son of rock singer Jon Bon Jovi, when Hunter’s video was posted. Nonetheless, his comments were hurtful to the actress, and she took time off social media for “healing.” “When you get publicly humiliated this way – I felt so out of control and powerless,” she told the publication. “Walking away and knowing that I’m worth everything and this person didn’t take anything from me, it felt very empowering. It felt like my life had finally turned a page and that I actually had ended a chapter that felt so f**king long.” During an Instagram Live in 2021, Hunter was seen laughing in response to photos taken of the pair, when he was 20 and Millie was 16. He also called himself a “groomer” and claimed to have manipulated the actress, which her team denied in a 2021 statement. In response to his comments, they stated: “Mr. Ecimovic’s remarks on social media are not only dishonest, but also are irresponsible, offensive and hateful. Instead of engaging in a public discourse with him through the press or on social media, we are taking action to ensure that he stops this behavior once and for all.”

  • Miley Cyrus’ brother slams OnlyFans creators 15 years after telling women to “Shake it” – Dexerto

Miley Cyrus’ brother slams OnlyFans creators 15 years after telling women to “Shake it” Instagram: tracecyrusTrace Cyrus released the hit single Shake It in 2008, a song all about sex. 15 years later and he’s now telling women on OnlyFans that they should expect a “lonely future”. Trace Cyrus is the son of country music singer Billy Ray Cyrus and the older brother of Miley and Noah Cyrus. He — like the rest of his family — has undeniable musical talent and was previously the bassist and guitarist of American pop band Metro Station. During the band’s run in the late 2000’s they released a hit single, Shake It, that topped the charts in numerous countries and was all about no-strings-attached sex. Specifically, going out and taking a girl home for the night. But Trace is now telling women that a sex-positive attitude and “independent mindset” will lead them to a “very lonely future” in a rant against OnlyFans creators. The musician claimed any male attention received through OnlyFans comes from “desperate losers” and that men “don’t look at those women [on OnlyFans] and equate their value as a future wife, mother, or loyal partner.” While Trace did note that he knows some “genuinely good people” on OnlyFans, he maintained that women utilizing the service had “lost their chance of ever settling down with a good guy with morals.” And the internet was not happy, slamming Trace for his “embarrassing” take. “This rant sounds a lot like when my toddler gets upset for not getting his way. Someone hurt your feelings, buddy?” one person wrote. Another asked, “You really want to be the next family member Miley cuts off?” But Trace has seemingly chosen this hill to die on and posted a follow-up tweet doubling down on his views and calling his claims “common sense”. Nonetheless, the irony of his statements wasn’t lost to viewers, who pointed out his own history of sexualizing women. “Do [you] remember, Tracee boo, when you posted a photo in 2019 of your fiancé wearing lingerie with your hand around her throat? Do you remember calling anyone who reacted negatively to that photo a “jealous girl” and declaring that there was nothing wrong with the photo?” one person said. “Funny, that you are allowed to sexualize women and capitalize off of it, but women are not permitted to do the same themselves.” The commenter went on to slam Trace, calling him “just another cookie cutter sexist who thinks women’s bodies should be available to you, but only if it only benefits you and men like you.” Check out all the latest entertainment news on our page here.

  • Miley Cyrus & Joe Rogan explain why being a child star is unhealthy – Dexerto

Miley Cyrus & Joe Rogan explain why being a child star is unhealthy YouTube: Joe Rogan ExperienceIn episode 1531 of the Joe Rogan Experience podcast, Miley Cyrus shared her struggles with “unlearning” the media’s representation of her personality, and discussed together why getting famous early can be detrimental. Miley Cyrus skyrocketed to fame when she starred in Disney’s hit show Hannah Montana as the lead role at the age of just 11. Her fame was extensive, being the first Disney act to have deals in film, television, music, and consumer products. Throughout her later music career, in an attempt to break away from the squeaky clean Disney image, Miley released videos such as “Wrecking Ball” that saw her swinging in a revealing outfit from a wrecking ball, a video that gained 19 million views in its first day. As a result of her enormous fame, Miley has found herself the subject of a great deal of media attention, looking to pick apart her relationships with drugs, and with other people. “You’re a powerful thing. There’s no getting away from who you are. You’ve got to kind accept that you’re Miley Cyrus.” Joe said. “You’re really f**king famous, and you’re really young. It’s weird.” Joe explained how he didn’t start garnering fame until later in his life, a “slow drip” of attention that began in his thirties, and into his forties. He suggested that doing martial arts throughout that time and “getting his a** kicked” humbled him. Miley commented that “that seems healthier.” Topic starts at 8:50 She went on to explain, “I’m really proud of myself that I don’t live in that world,” referring to the celebrities that have become consumed by their power. Earlier in the podcast, she explained that she “really hated always being behind myself,” and the public’s interpretation of her, saying that people always tell her she’s “not as crazy as they thought she’d be” thanks to the media’s skewed interpretation of her personality. “Here you are Hannah Montanna, and all of a sudden you’re this very sexual singer,” Joe responds. “You’re doing all this crazy stuff, and you’re on television shaking your a**. Everyone’s seeing that and they’re like “oh, Miley Cyrus is out of control now.” So then that becomes the narrative.” The conversation between the two stars with vastly different careers, and contrasting rises to fame has proven to be a candid insight into the effects of fame.

  • Miles Teller had jet fuel in his blood while filming Top Gun 2 and Tom Cruise wasn’t impressed – Dexerto

Miles Teller had jet fuel in his blood while filming Top Gun 2 and Tom Cruise wasn’t impressed Actor Miles Teller revealed that, while filming Top Gun 2, he had trace amounts of jet fuel in his bloodstream and Tom Cruise was not impressed. Top Gun 2 opened to massive critical and commercial success, building off the legacy of the classic 80s action movie. Tom Cruise returning as protagonist Pete “Maverick” Mitchell was obviously a huge selling point for the sequel, but he was surrounded by a strong, supporting cast who brought depth to the movie. Among this stellar supporting cast was Miles Teller, playing the son of Maverick’s RIO Nick “Goose” Bradshaw, who died in the first Top Gun movie. Teller’s character, Bradley “Rooster” Bradshaw, served not only as an early antagonist to Cruise’s character, but also as a reminder of Maverick’s failure in the first movie. Teller clearly took the role to heart, as he revealed in an interview. Teller had jet fuel in his blood…literally In an interview with Seth Meyers, Teller recounted how began to develop an illness during filming. This eventually grew so bad that he broke out in hives covering his whole body after being inside the jet. Teller eventually needed to go to a doctor for testing to diagnose the mysterious ailment. The results were quite surprising. “So I go to the doctor and my blood work comes back and I have flame-retardant, pesticides, and jet fuel in my blood,” Teller told Meyer. Luckily, with this information Teller was able to be treated and return to filming. While news of having jet fuel in his blood would make most people nervous, Teller seems to have taken the news in stride. Tom Cruise was not impressed Teller says his reaction to learning about the jet fuel in his bloodstream was that “this is kind of cool.” “So I go to set the next day and Tom [Cruise] is like, ‘So how did it go, Miles? What did they find?’ I was like, ‘Well, Tom, it turns out I have jet fuel in my blood.’” Unfortunately, Cruise did not have the impressed reaction that Teller was expecting. Tom responded to the news by simply saying, “yeah, I was born with it kid”, Teller says. But the exchange stuck with Teller as an example of Cruise’s incredible attitude and dedication to his craft. “That was a very Tom moment for me,” Teller told Meyer with a chuckle.

The original sound has garnered over 16.3k uses, and the hashtag #bestofbothworlds has racked up over 97.2 million views, although not every video in that particular category is taking part in the trend. The fad is also often used with the hashtags #childhoodtrauma and #siblings as users open up about their family struggles in a humorous way with the song adding a funny backing track. This is just the latest fad to spawn on TikTok after the #kingforaday trend caused Pierce the Veil’s song of the same name to shoot to the top of Billboard Hard Rock Streaming Charts, a bit of a different vibe from Hannah Montana’s 2000’s pop hit.

Mikkaa slays God of War bosses with ease during Pringles® Can Hands challenge PringlesStreamer Mikkaa took part in the Pringles® Can Hands challenge while playing God of War, proving that that not even a can of Pringles can stop Kratos. #Ad Streamer QTCinderella popularized the Pringles® Can Hands challenge in November, when she set out to do a whole cooking stream with one hand in a Pringles can. It wasn’t long before other streamers began experimenting with the Pringles® Can Hands challenge while gaming, endeavoring to beat games like Dark Souls one-handed. Streamer MissMikkaa is known for her playthroughs of single-player games, particularly the Souls-like games, so it was no surprise that she got into the challenge as well. Mikkaa elected to take on God of War: Ragnarok during the challenge, though she felt confident going in thanks to her experience playing God of War with a dance pad and then Elden Ring with one hand before. She got off to a strong start, despite the fact that she had loaded a save on the highest difficulty, but suffered a death and resolved to change her tactics. “Let’s go with a heavy attack,” Mikkaa decided after the first death. By doing so, Mikkaa had a better chance to hit multiple enemies and inflict higher damage, but it also posed a huge problem. When she pressed the heavy attack button on her controller, she accidentally opened the menu, taking her out of the action. Once she figured out how to parry, thanks to a helpful tip from a member of her chat, Mikkaa began mowing through the mythological enemies. In fact, she managed to take down The Huntress, a stalker boss, with minimal difficulty. While many would argue that Mikkaa had the advantage of being able to play the game on PS5, which is much easier to play with one hand than keyboard and mouse, it just shows how good she is at God of War that she adjusted to beat the game with ease. So, fear not God of War players— If your hand gets stuck in a Pringles can during your next playthrough, there’s still plenty of hope you can beat that boss! Each streamer had moments throughout their streams to give their chats the chance to win free Pringles, and the giveaways are still live here from now till Jan. 12. • Mike Tyson claims YouTube boxers like Jake Paul are the future of the sport – Dexerto

Mike Tyson claims YouTube boxers like Jake Paul are the future of the sport YouTube: Mike Tyson / Instagram: Jake PaulMike Tyson has once again spoken highly of Jake and Logan Paul and YouTube boxing in general, claiming their journey into the sport is the “changing of the guard” and believes it will shape its future. Boxing fans have mixed feelings about seeing YouTubers like Jake and Logan Paul lace up the gloves and step into the ring. But after seeing Jake beat Ben Askren and Tyron Woodley and Logan survive against Floyd Mayweather and the fact their fights pulled insane numbers, there’s no denying they’re helping the sport grow. Mike Tyson has expressed that view not once but twice now, and he elaborated on it further during his podcast. Not only did he claim their fights are great from a business perspective, but he believes they could be the future of the sport. “This is the deal. We’re talking from a business perspective. I don’t care if it looks goofy or funny. That money is real, and these guys are getting knocked out. It’s all just entertainment,” he said. “If I bring the world champion and put him on my card and he brings a million people, that’s a lot. But if I bring this little f**king blonde-haired, blue-eyed f**k, he comes up with 70 million. I love him. I’ll put him on my card.” Tyson described this process as “the changing of the guard” for the sport, which he knows is hard for people to come to terms with. Still, he believes YouTube boxers like them are a massive part of it, and he wants to give them their own tournament and belt. Read More: Did Jake Paul retire from boxing? – “Ten years from now, I want to have all the YouTuber boxers have a tournament and fight to determine who will be the champion of their world. They’ll have their own belt, and they can put that up against a boxer’s belt.” Tyson wrapped up his thoughts by conceding that hype sells a fight, and YouTube boxers like Jake and Logan have proven they can deliver that more than some professional boxers can. For that reason, he believes they’re the future of the sport, and he has no qualms about promoting it – especially if it makes him some bank.

Mike Tyson’s son rages at Hawk Tuah girl: “Our country is f**ked” Instagram: hay_welch, amir_j_tysonMike Tyson’s son Amir Tyson had a rageful response to Hawk Tuah girl rapping the wrong Jay Z lyrics on Bill Maher’s ‘Club Random’ podcast. Hawk Tuah girl Haliey Welch has been invited to multiple clubs, concerts, and podcasts since she became viral in June. In one of her latest podcast appearances with Bill Maher on July 28, she was asked if she liked rap music. That’s when the ‘Club Random’ interview took a turn, prompting a wave of outrage from boxing legend Mike Tyson’s son, Amir Tyson. After Bill pointed out that he enjoyed Jay Z and Tupac, Haliey admitted she didn’t listen to them. She then attempted to rap Jay Z’s hit song ‘Empire State Of Mind’ featuring Alicia Keys. “Concrete jungle wet dream tomato you know about New York,” she murmured. While Bill was taken aback by her lack of lyrical knowledge, Amir went viral for his heated response to Haliey’s Jay Z lyrics. “Our country is f**ked… This era of 15 minutes of intense fame to complete irrelevancy has gotten completely out of hand,” Amir shared in his Instagram story. “Only people from the internet that have… gained actual celebrity status are the Paul brothers and maybe the Speed, Kai Cenant and Adin Ross… My kids and grandkids won’t have a clue who these streamers are lol,” he added. Viewers also reacted adversely to her mismatched lyrics, with some agreeing with Amir. One commenter on a viral post about the interview said, “This is why we are failing as a country.” “Ignorant as f,” added another. Hawk Tuah girl has also been blasted for not knowing what a meme is after she posted multiple meme attempts to X. Not only that, but netizens even roasted her for mistaking dog food for human food during her visit to Erewhon in Los Angeles, CA, this August.

  • Mike Tyson warns Jake Paul he’d “beat his ass” in proposed boxing match – Dexerto

Mike Tyson warns Jake Paul he’d “beat his ass” in proposed boxing match Amanda Wescott/SHOWTIME/Instagram/MikeTysonYouTuber turned boxer Jake Paul has been itching for a potential fight against Mike Tyson, leading Iron Mike to issue a big warning to the up and comer on his podcast. Jake Paul’s boxing career has been near flawless so far. With a 5-0 record, he’s KO’d some major names including former UFC champion Tyron Woodley in his latest scrap. With The Problem Child set to make his return to the ring later in 2022, he’s been making some big challenges to a number of stars including Conor McGregor and even Mike Tyron. Though a battle between the two has been dismissed by Tyson in the past, he’s since changed his stance, claiming he’d be open to a contest for the right price. Now, with a $300m event proposed by Jake, Tyson has responded. Mike Tyson promises to beat Jake Paul in a fight Speaking with UFC star Israel ‘The Last Stylebender’ Adesanya on his podcast, the Middleweight champ asked Tyson if he’d ever fight Jake or his brother Logan Paul. “I’d beat their f**king ass,” Tyson quickly replied with a smirk. “I’m going straight at them.” Despite being one of the best in the business back in his prime, Tyson hasn’t fought since 2020 in a split draw with Roy Jones Jr, so he acknowledged needing to get rid of some ring rust and get into fight shape. (segment begins at 1:10:30 for mobile users) “I’m not going to underestimate them either but I’m going to be in shape, that’s the thing you’ve got to do is be in shape,” he explained. “I think 30 days of boxing I could fight anybody, 30 days of boxing every day. If I’m boxing every day in the gym I don’t have to worry about my diet, I’ll eat whatever I want.” Of course, this doesn’t mean that a fight between Mike Tyson and Jake Paul is in the cards, but it’s interesting to see how confident Iron Mike is that he would emerge victoriously. Only time will tell if the two will agree to square off and if the YouTuber can get a chance to put on the “$300 million event” of his dreams.

  • Mike Tyson will “kill” Logan Paul warns former heavyweight boxing champ – Dexerto

Mike Tyson will “kill” Logan Paul warns former heavyweight boxing champ Instagram/MikeTyson/Amanda Westcott for SHOWTIMEFormer boxing heavyweight champion and friend of Mike Tyson, Tim Witherspoon, warned that Logan Paul would die if he faced off against Iron Mike. Influencer turned boxing sensation Logan Paul, along with his brother Jake, have taken the boxing world by storm, duking it out with many of combat sports’ biggest names including Floyd Mayweather and Tyron Woodley. As Jake Paul readies for his fight against Tommy Fury, rumors have been swirling that Logan would be facing off against Mike Tyson in February. So far, many big names including Joe Rogan and former UFC champion Michael Bisping have voiced concerns for Logan if he were to battle Tyson, but none are as worrisome as Tim Witherspoon’s. Witherspoon puts Jake & Logan Paul on blast ahead of Tyson fight Speaking with Sun Sport, the former boxing champ explained how he feels the Paul brothers have been conning people, and aren’t as good as people think they are. “You know what, there is nobody who is in the top ten current ranking that these brothers are fighting, those brothers know what they’re doing they’re trying to get top guys on TV who are no longer in their peak or non-boxers,” he said. While Logan did go the distance against Floyd Mayweather in an exhibition bout, ‘Money’ has since revealed that he only had minimum preparation and didn’t take it seriously, saying that if he tried, he would have finished Paul in one round. “But [the] majority of the people know that they’re not going to win against a top ten ranked real boxer. Mike Tyson will kill him,” he added. “He’s not going to be able to do anything to Mike. Mike’s going to kill him. Mike might not even hurt him; Mike might get in there and play with him. So it’s not real serious stuff. And the commission allowed this stuff.” Furthermore, the former champ hit out at the brothers for “conning” the community, claiming there was no way they could beat top fighters in a real match. “So, they’re misleading a lot of the boxing community, they’re not real boxers,” he blasted. As of this posting, a fight between The Maverick and Iron Mike has yet to be confirmed, but the speculation has continued to mount. It will be interesting to see what the future holds and if all these comments doubting the Paul brothers legitimacy result in the fight being a non-exhibition.

  • Mike Tyson tells Joe Rogan the real reason behind his return to boxing – Dexerto

Mike Tyson tells Joe Rogan the real reason behind his return to boxing YouTube: Joe Rogan Experience[jwplayer smynPnSq]During his recent appearance on the Joe Rogan Experience, Mike Tyson explained that his return to boxing was actually fueled by a desire to lose weight. More than 15 years after he hung up his gloves, Mike Tyson sparked huge interest in a return when a video of him training again went viral earlier in 2020. After a ton of rumors, including talk of a third bout with Evander Holyfield, Tyson is now slated to fight Roy Jones Jr in an exhibition matchup – but he wasn’t actually planning on making a return to the ring. Tyson had previously told Joe Rogan that he was against working out and sparring because he’d fire himself up to fight again and he was purely training in order to lose some weight. “I was discussing with my wife, something about me being overweight, and she said ‘why don’t you just get on the treadmill for 15 minutes a day’ and it went from 15 minutes to two hours, Tyson said during JRE episode #1532. “I was complaining about my weight and so, I guess I tried on some clothes and it was disastrous, so I was worried about my weight.” The former Heavyweight champion added that as he started losing weight, ideas for fighting for “30 or 40 million dollars” were floated. While he wanted to dismiss them, it became an interesting prospect. “Who would they like me to fight? It’s Bob Sapp,” the 54-year-old continued. “So I’m saying to myself, I know Bob and I said hold, one minute, how would they like me to fight? Can I fight under Queensberry rules? The guy said yes and I said yes, I’ll fight him.” Segment begins at 0:20 While the initial plan might have been for Sapp – who is a former professional mixed martial artist and professional wrestler – Tyson is set to square off against Roy Jones Jr. Despite the fact the pair are way past their prime, it’s still an interesting matchup for boxing fanatics who would have paid good money to see them trade blow while at the peak of their powers.

  • Mike Tyson wants Jake Paul to fight Kamaru Usman: “How could he turn it down?” – Dexerto

Mike Tyson wants Jake Paul to fight Kamaru Usman: “How could he turn it down?” Instagram: Jake PaulMike Tyson told former UFC Flyweight Champion and Bantamweight Champion Henry Cejudo that he “wants to see” Jake Paul take on Kamaru Usman in the boxing ring. Kamaru’s manager also taunted Jake to “come and get it.” Mike Tyson is a massive fan of YouTube boxing. He believes it’s the “biggest help” the sport has had in years. It’s no surprise, then, that he also thinks Jake Paul is good for boxing and has nothing but kind words to say about him and his brother, Logan Paul. But while Jake’s haters would love to see him take on someone as formidable as UFC Welterweight Champion Kamaru Usman, Mike told Henry Cejudo that he “wants to see it” because not only would it be entertaining, but it would also be extremely profitable for both fighters. “Could you ever see a fight with Kamaru and Jake Paul align in boxing in the future?” asked Henry, who laughed at the fact they were talking about him once again. “I want to see that sh*t,” replied Mike. “It’s going to be so much f**king money, how can he turn it down? That’s way more money than… it’s twice or three times as much money [than he earns] in the UFC. So, how could he turn it down?” Ali Abdelaziz, who has managed several UFC champions, including Kamaru, was also a guest on the show. “Me, Kamaru, and Dana discussed that last Monday. We had a meeting, actually. We had dinner,” he said. “If Jake Paul wants to get his a** whipped by an African lion, he can come and get it.” New release of Hotboxin with my brother @aliabdelaziz000 who never pulls his punches back! Kamaru teased the idea of “beating the sh**” out of “one of these internet guys.” Jake responded by saying, “Challenge accepted,” although Kamaru played it down and told him to “stay on [his] side.” However, based on his manager’s latest comments, it seems like Kamaru might be more open to the idea now. Jake hasn’t responded yet, but it will be interesting to see what he has to say and whether a fight comes to fruition.

  • Mike Tyson sets outrageous asking price for Jake Paul fight – Dexerto

Mike Tyson sets outrageous asking price for Jake Paul fight Instagram/JakepaulBoxing legend ‘Iron’ Mike Tyson wants more than the rumored $50 million to step in the ring with YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul, but his price tag is a bit outrageous. After Logan Paul’s exhibition match against Floyd ‘Money’ Mayweather, nothing is off the cards for the Paul brothers when it comes to boxing. With Jake Paul being undefeated in his career, the YouTube star has been eyeing up some of the best fighters in the world like Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarez. Though, there have also been wild rumors that he might be stepping into the ring against one of the greatest boxers of all-time – Mike Tyson. Previously ‘Iron’ Mike has shut down any possibility of a face-off, and now he’s asked for an outrageous amount to fight Jake. During a recent episode of Tyson’s Hotboxin’ podcast, he was joined by WBC Middleweight Champion Jermall Charlo, who mentioned that we’re still yet to see any YouTubers step in the ring with a “real boxer” to contend for a title. Furthermore, podcast co-host Paul Pierce added to the conversation with the rumors that Tyson could soon be facing off again Jake Paul – which would get a lot of attention and money for the two fighters according to Pierce. While it’s anyone’s guess how much they’d make, Charlo noted that it could possibly net them $49M. But, the legend is reluctant, stating that he’ll only be fighting Paul if the price is right – and that price is above what WBC Champion claims they’d get. “We gotta get some more money man, sh*t,” Tyson said. “Blue eyes, blonde hair – that sh*t is very expensive. We gotta get some more money.” Later Tyson noted he want a “billion bucks” for the bout. (Timestamp at 7:56) The boxing legend has previously admitted that “anything is possible” and spoke about how charities would benefit from the two getting into the ring. Only time will tell if we’ll see a fight between Paul and Tyson, but both would certainly be getting a huge payday if it went ahead.

  • Mike Tyson shuts down Jake Paul fight for good and makes huge call on his career – Dexerto

Mike Tyson shuts down Jake Paul fight for good and makes huge call on his career Instagram: MikeTyson / Instagram: JakePaulJust days after Mike Tyson was reportedly locked in for an exhibition bout with Jake Paul, the boxing icon has officially shut down the idea and suggested he may even be stepping back into retirement once again. Ever since his 2020 comeback fight against Roy Jones Jr., Iron Mike has been linked to the Paul brothers. While initial reports claimed the heavyweight legend would go toe to toe with Logan Paul, plans seemingly fell apart in late 2021. Just weeks into the new year and younger brother Jake Paul has been into the mix instead. “Mike and Jake are on board for an exhibition bout in Las Vegas,” The Sun reported on January 17. However, Tyson quickly brushed these claims off and now, he’s officially put an end to the rumors. Not only is Tyson “not interested” in fighting the social media celeb, he also seems to be done with boxing as a whole once again. When Tyson returned to the ring in 2020, ultimately battling to a split draw with Roy Jones Jr., it marked his first fight in 15 years. Despite appearing like the start of a comeback, it’s now looking like a one-off event, Tyson explained on the Full Send Podcast. “I don’t think I’d ever do stuff like that anymore,” he said. “I wanted to do it the first time just to have fun. Some people took it to another level, made it financial, and then the fun went out of it.” Even with a $50 million ‘mega fight’ offer reportedly set against Jake Paul, Tyson stressed that he’s “not even interested” these days. “It was all word of mouth,” he said of the evidently unofficial deal. Triller, the company behind Tyson’s return bout, allegedly still owes him money from his 2020 performance. While he wasn’t able to say much publicly, this relationship “turned bad” and could be the leading reason why he no longer wants to fight. “I don’t want you to fight again,” UFC President Dana White said sitting on the couch next to him. “I don’t think I will either,” Tyson responded. Given this is the fighting game, it’s always worth taking these comments with a grain of salt. Tyson could be playing coy amidst contract negotiations behind closed doors. We’ll have to wait and see how things play out, though there’s every chance we’ve already seen the boxing legend’s last fight.

  • Mike Tyson says he wouldn’t fight Jake or Logan Paul – Dexerto

Mike Tyson says he wouldn’t fight Jake or Logan Paul YouTube: imPaulsive, Logan Paul / Instagram: Jake PaulThe Paul brothers have made no qualms about calling out any and every high-profile fighter in the business for a potential boxing match, but it doesn’t look like ‘Iron’ Mike Tyson is interested in taking on either of the YouTubers. YouTube boxing has become a major spectacle over the past few years, and it’s no secret that Jake Paul is currently leading the charge of influencers integrating themselves in the sport. Boasting a 3-0 professional record, Jake is currently looking for his next opponent — and it seems he’s got his eye on Floyd Mayweather, if his scuffle with the 50-0 champ on May 6 is anything to go by. However, Mayweather must first go through Logan before this potential bout can even happen… but considering the amount of names Jake has called out in the fighting world, it comes as little surprise that Mike Tyson was asked about a possible fight with the towheaded YouTuber and his older bro. “”Got your hat!”” Floyd Mayweather & Jake Paul got into a scuffle at the #MayweatherPaul press conference 🤯pic.twitter.com/uFEueh6FWk — Dexerto (@Dexerto) May 6, 2021 In an interview with TMZ Sports on May 8, Tyson was asked whether or not he’d ever trade blows with the Paul brothers, should the stars align — but it doesn’t look like he’s all too interested in the possibility. “Nah, I like those guys, man!” Tyson answered after being asked about the potential matchup. “I like those guys, they’re good guys.” Tyson’s response isn’t something hugely surprising; the boxing legend has worked with Jake Paul in the past, who fought ex-NBA star Nate Robinson on the undercard of the Tyson vs Roy Jones Jr. bout, and even claimed the YouTuber was “good” for the sport of boxing on multiple occasions. Mike Tyson says neither Jake nor Logan Paul can beat Mayweather As for Logan’s upcoming bout with Mayweather — as well as Jake’s impromptu scuffle with the champ — Tyson isn’t sure about either of their chances against such an experienced pro. When asked if he thought Logan could stand up to Floyd ‘Money’ Mayweather, Tyson had a simple response: “No. He’s gonna get beat up pretty bad.” He followed up by admitting that neither of the duo could likely stand up to Mayweather — but for now, only time will tell as the clock ticks down to Logan’s fight with the pro come June 6.

  • Mike Tyson says he’d “absolutely” take blockbuster Jake Paul fight with talks coming – Dexerto

Mike Tyson says he’d “absolutely” take blockbuster Jake Paul fight with talks coming YouTube: Hotboxin/Instagram: Jake PaulBoxing legend ‘Iron’ Mike Tyson revealed that he’s speaking with Jake Paul soon and would “absolutely” love to fight the YouTuber if they can make it happen. Ever since Jake and his brother Logan Paul got involved with boxing, the pair have been linked to former heavyweight king Mike Tyson. ‘Iron’ Mike was one of the first fighters to praise the YouTubers for their involvement with the sport, and has regularly chatted with the two of them. Despite their friendly relationship, rumors have swirled that the 55-year-old would, at some point, step into the ring and fight one of them, with all signs pointing to Tyson vs Jake, given Jake is more active in boxing. However, the former boxing world champion does have a lofty price tag on his involvement. While a fight might not be in the works anytime soon, Tyson is up for making it happen after long last, and is even in the process of talking to the social media star. The 55-year-old appeared on Bill Maher’s Club Random podcast on May 9, where he was once again asked about potentially stepping back into the ring and fighting one of the Paul brothers. “Is it Jake Paul who wants to fight you?” asked the political commentator. “Yeah, I’m going to call him sometime on Friday and we’re going to talk,” Tyson quickly responded. Maher asked if ‘Iron’ Mike was seriously interested in the fight, given his age and the opponent. “Absolutely (would consider it),” Tyson answered, adding that he’s got no worries about the age difference. Though, he did go about it in a roundabout way with a comparison to Julius Cesar. Timestamp of 14:45 Whether or not anything comes from the pair’s talk remains to be seen. Jake still needs an opponent for his return to the ring in August, but it’s unlikely to be Tyson. The YouTuber-turned-boxer has been tipped to fight former rugby star Sonny Bill Williams or possibly Tommy Fury, but we’ll have to wait and see.

  • Mike Tyson reveals his prediction for Logan Paul vs Floyd Mayweather – Dexerto

Mike Tyson reveals his prediction for Logan Paul vs Floyd Mayweather Instagram: @miketyson / YouTube: imPaulsiveIn a turn of events that no one saw coming, YouTube star Logan Paul scored a fight with 50-0 boxing pro Floyd Mayweather — a bout that even the legendary Mike Tyson has weighed in on with his own prediction. Influencer boxing has become the new hot topic across social media. Ever since Logan Paul touched gloves with rival KSI in August 2018, a number of personalities have threatened to duke out their differences in the ring; but Paul is taking the trend to an entirely different level. On December 6, it was revealed that Paul would be facing off with none other than Floyd Mayweather in a “super exhibition” match, which is currently set for February 2021. This is just the latest development for the Paul brothers, with little bro Jake Paul having fought on the Mike Tyson vs Roy Jones Jr undercard merely a week prior to Logan’s internet-shattering announcement. View this post on Instagram With this connection in mind, it seems natural that Tyson made an appearance on Logan Paul’s ‘imPaulsive’ podcast to give his time-honored boxing advice to the YouTuber — as well as his prediction for his upcoming bout with Mayweather. When prompted with his take on the subject by co-host Mike Majlak, Tyson had a humorously straightforward answer: “Floyd’s gonna beat his f**kin’ a**.” “But it’s gonna be good!” he continued. “It’s gonna be good, he’s gonna fight back though!” View this post on Instagram Unfortunately, the entire episode is not yet available in full on the ‘imPaulsive’ YouTube channel, with the clip in question being shared to Paul’s own Instagram account before its release; but the YouTuber’s caption of the clip shows that he took the joshing in good spirits. While just about anyone predicts a victory for Mayweather, it seems the odds are in Jake Paul’s favor for his next potential fight after UFC star Ben Askren accepted a bout with the influencer. . @jakepaul doesn’t trust many in the media to spread the word…. • Mike Tyson roasted by fans for being “way too baked” on podcast episode with Khabib Nurmagomedov – Dexerto

Mike Tyson roasted by fans for being “way too baked” on podcast episode with Khabib Nurmagomedov YouTube: Hotboxin’ With Mike TysonBoxing legend Mike Tyson’s ‘Hotboxin’ podcast has become quite popular — but some fans think he lit up a little too hard after watching his latest episode with retired MMA pro Khabib Nurmagomedov. Mike Tyson is nothing short of a living legend in the boxing world. “Iron Mike” has built a huge legacy for himself throughout his career, and even started his very own podcast more recently. Tyson’s podcast is a bit different from others of its kind, though; a signature aspect of the series is that the interviews take place in a “studio full of smoke,” resulting in some pretty deep convos and hilarious moments. His latest episode featured a conversation with now-retired mixed martial artist Khabib Nurmagomedov. Khabib notably won his bout against rival Conor McGregor in 2018, which resulted in the infamous arena-wide scuffle that made headlines for weeks afterwards. While the episode was certainly an eye-opening one for fans curious to hear Khabib’s take on his beef with McGregor, they couldn’t help but notice that Tyson was a little too stoned to partake in the conversation very much, and that co-host Henry Cejudo facilitated much of the conversation. This resulted in a slew of hilarious comments under the video, as well as some sharp criticisms from viewers. (Hey, it’s safer to poke fun at one of the baddest men on the planet when you’re miles away tapping on a keyboard!) “Are we just gonna ignore the fact that Mike apparently smoked the whole bag of weed before the podcast to not disrespect Khabib while talking to him, but it ended in Mike just not talking for almost the whole podcast because he’s high asf?” one user wrote. “Mike’s been visiting the spiritual realm,” another joked. “He was there in physical form, but spiritually, he was on another planet.” “Mike Tyson was in another dimension in this episode,” a fan wrote. “Triple C needs a raise!” “Henry keeps trying to bring Mike into the convo, but Tyson is far, far away lol!” Another said. Needless to say, it doesn’t seem that fans were all too impressed with Tyson’s hosting skills in this latest episode, but that isn’t stopping it from being one of the biggest fighting podcasts out there with one of the biggest celebrity presences.

Mike Tyson reveals his prediction for Jake Paul vs Tommy Fury fight YouTube: Boxing SocialBoxing legend Mike Tyson revealed his favorite for the upcoming fight between YouTube star Jake Paul and reality TV heartthrob Tommy Fury. Jake Paul and Tommy Fury are scheduled to finally settle their long-standing feud after not one, but two canceled boxing matches over the past year. Set to take place in Saudi Arabia on Sunday, February 26, this marks Jake’s first big boxing match against someone of his own standing and caliber — not to mention being one of the biggest influencer grudge matches around at this time. The bout has caught the attention of combat sports enthusiasts and practitioners around the world, including the one and only ‘Iron Mike’ Tyson, who attended a press conference for the fight on February 23. Mike Tyson predicts how Jake Paul vs Tommy Fury will end He spoke out about his prediction for Paul vs Fury in an interview with Boxing Social, revealing that he’s firmly in Jake’s corner for this match. “I never saw Fury fight,” he admitted. “I don’t know — I don’t think he’s gonna be able to beat Jake Paul. Jake Paul, he’s getting better and better as he fights, and I don’t know if they brought him here to lose. So, we’re gonna find out.” He even shared his prediction for how the fight would end, saying he thinks the bout will definitely end in a KO. “Somebody’s getting knocked out,” he said. “I don’t know who, but somebody’s going down, boo! Someone’s 0 has got to go!” (Topic begins at 1:22) This is far from the first time that Tyson has expressed his support for the younger Paul brother. The legendary boxer has been in Jake’s corner for years now, most notably defending the ‘Problem Child’ from haters on Jimmy Kimmel Live in 2022 to say he’s done “so much good for boxing” during his career.

Mike Tyson responds to Logan Paul fight rumors: “Anything is possible” Instagram/Miketyson/loganpaulLegendary boxer Mike Tyson has responded to rumors that he’ll be fighting YouTuber Logan Paul in 2022 and the bout seems to be more likely than ever. A fight between Mike Tyson and Logan Paul has already reportedly been set for 2022, though nothing has been confirmed as of yet. Still, that hasn’t stopped the internet from gearing up for the potential slobberknocker. With all eyes on The Maverick and Iron Mike, it’s no surprise that the media has asked Tyson about the possibility of getting into the ring once again. Mike Tyson says fighting Logan Paul is “possible” When asked about the rumored contest, Tyson didn’t confirm the fight was happening but didn’t rule anything out either. “Anything is possible,” he said. “By doing this, we have a good exponent of charities to give to, so the charities win both ways.” Prior to Tyson’s fight with Jones Jr, the former boxing champ did state he would give his $10M in proceeds to charity, so there is a bit of a precedent here. Even if Tyson doubts his own ability at the age of 55, others, such as the UFC’s Michael Bisping believe he would “flatline” The Maverick and send him to the hospital. We’ll have to wait and see if the fight ends up happening, but if it’s anything like Paul’s exhibition match against Floyd Mayweather, expect there to be lots of money to be made for both parties and potentially some charities.

  • Mike Tyson reveals chaos caused by NELK Boys leaking his phone number – Dexerto

Mike Tyson reveals chaos caused by NELK Boys leaking his phone number YouTube: Full Send Podcast/Mike Tyson/Kyle ForgeardMike Tyson has finally responded to NELK Boys’ Kyle Forgeard leaking his phone number on stream, with the former boxing champion claiming it caused chaos at the time. Kyle realized he had made a huge mistake on December 6, 2020. During a scheduled gambling stream on Twitch, they invited the heavyweight boxer to join them. Tyson was unable to join them in person so the YouTuber called him on FaceTime, not realizing until it was too late that the boxer’s personal phone number was displayed on stream. During the October 13 upload of the ‘Full Send Podcast,’ the topic came up as soon as they walked into the room. Kyle explained to everyone what happened, but Mike had his own plot twist to explain. Mike Tyson’s leaked phone number After Forgeard explained his side of the story, Tyson explained that he had to give his phone away to his assistant. Foregard asked him: “Do they still call you?” before turning back to the NELK member to jokingly say: “You’re an a**hole, you f**ked up.” However, it appears that the boxer did not change the phone number attached to the device, as he asked the assistant: “How many have you gotten in one day?” Proving that leaking a celebrities phone number is no joke, the assistant responded that he has received a massive 8,000 calls and texts combined in a single day. Assuming each call rings for about 45 seconds, that’s at least a solid day of phone calls and messages to his phone. (Timestamp at 00:36 for mobile users below) “That’s f**ked up, I just wasn’t thinking, Mike,” Forgeard explained right before the crew switched the conversation over to Tyson’s current business adventures. After accidentally leaking Tyson’s phone number, it’s safe to say Kyle is going to be more cautious next time he’s calling someone in front of thousands of people.

  • Mike Tyson reportedly rejected Jake Paul fight deal for one reason – Dexerto

Mike Tyson reportedly rejected Jake Paul fight deal for one reason Instagram/JakepaulThe real reason Mike Tyson turned down a boxing match against influencer Jake Paul has reportedly been revealed. Rumors that boxing legend Mike Tyson was going to be fighting Jake Paul first sparked in January, with previous reports claiming that Iron Mike would be facing off against brother Logan. Nothing came of those rumors, though, with both Tyson and Paul denying that a fight was in the works. Now, a new report claims that not only was a fight being seriously considered, but Tyson himself backed out of it for one key reason. Mike Tyson rejects Jake Paul boxing match According to sources at The Sun, although a $50 million fight was on the table, the money wasn’t right for ‘Iron Mike’ to dust off his boxing gloves. “The last few weeks have seen a change for Mike. He was on board for an exhibition bout with Jake in Vegas, but word is that the deal is not quite what he expected,” a source said. “It is not about him not being able to physically dominate Jake, but rather his life is not conducive to training to the level that would be required.” Tyson has been heavily involved in his marijuana business since 2016, earning him quite a steady income that would make a fight against Jake Paul not worth the effort. “There is one significant factor in all this for Mike. He does not need or want to take this fight simply to enhance the image of Jake’s fighting credentials,” the source explained. Read More: Jake Paul claims boxing is “easier” than MMA – Although it may seem that Tyson has no plans on duking it out with Jake Paul, that hasn’t stopped The Problem Child from still expressing interest. In an interview with Ariel Helwani, Paul said that he still wants to fight Mike Tyson, but because the two are friends, it would be “weird.” Never say never, but it seems like a dream match between Jake Paul and Mike Tyson is going to remain just that.

  • Mike Tyson reportedly walked out after watching Jake Paul boxing for 30 seconds – Dexerto

Mike Tyson reportedly walked out after watching Jake Paul boxing for 30 seconds Instagram/Jakepaul/miketysonBoxing legend Mike Tyson was reportedly so uninterested in watching Jake Paul box that he walked out on the YouTuber after just 30 seconds. Jake Paul has taken the boxing world by storm with an undefeated record, boasting KOs against everyone he has ever faced, such as former UFC champion Tyron Woodley. While a bout between Mike Tyson and Jake Paul has been discussed in the past, it’s never come to fruition, with The Problem Child instead facing off against Anderson ‘The Spider’ Silva this October. As it turns out, although Tyson isn’t fighting Paul, he also doesn’t seem to have any interest in even watching him work out, with Iron Mike reportedly walking out on the influencer as he sparred. Mike Tyson not interested in even watching Jake Paul During an interview with Fight Hype, Freddie Roach revealed that Mike Tyson and Jake Paul were at his gym in Los Angeles, but the champ didn’t want to watch the YouTuber boxer. “Tyson looked at him and left,” Roach said. “He saw 30 seconds of him sparring and said, ‘Freddie, can we go downstairs and look at the pictures?’ He knows that’s where the good pictures are.” “He wasn’t as interested as I was,” the former professional boxer added, explaining how Jake was in the gym and asked if he could use the ring. So far, Jake hasn’t responded to Tyson’s decision to walk out on him after under a minute, but the influencer still has hopes that he can get into the ring with Iron Mike in the near future.

  • Mike Tyson ready to fight Jake Paul but must happen “this year” – Dexerto

Mike Tyson ready to fight Jake Paul but must happen “this year” Mike Tyson/Jake PaulLegendary boxer and ear-biter Mike Tyson said he’s open to fighting YouTuber turned boxer Jake Paul but needs the fight to happen this year. Mike Tyson and Jake Paul have been dancing around a fight for quite some time now. The pair of stars have publicly commented on a potential bout multiple times now, leaving fans increasingly curious as to when the two will finally go at it in the ring. Now, Tyson has put out an official timetable for a potential showdown. Mike Tyson ready to fight Jake Paul this year Iron Mike made an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live on June 16 when the host asked if he seriously would consider fighting Jake Paul. Mike called a face-off against Paul “very interesting,” and noted that he “never took it really seriously, but yes.” He continued, “He’s skilled enough, yes, I’m gonna give it to him. Because he’s winning… You gotta give him credit, he’s beating people he shouldn’t be beating.” Tyson finished by saying a fight between he and Paul “has gotta happen this year.” Time starts at 7:27 for mobile users Jimmy then asked Mike if he would continue to fight other YouTubers, like Mr Beast, to which he sarcastically replied he will create a “YouTube Championship” where he will round up all the top talent from the video site and box them all. Although there is no specific date on a fight between Tyson and Paul just yet, this is the clearest timetable we’ve gotten on a fight between them – either it’s in 2022 or it’s not happening at all.

  • Mike Tyson “proud” of Logan Paul for taking Floyd Mayweather to 8 rounds – Dexerto

Mike Tyson “proud” of Logan Paul for taking Floyd Mayweather to 8 rounds Instagram: miketyson / YouTube: ImpaulsiveAfter his exhibition boxing bout with Floyd Mayweather Jr. resulted in a stalemate, Logan Paul was lavishly praised by Mike Tyson in a FaceTime call. In one of the most hyped fights of the year, nobody knew quite what to expect when Logan Paul took to the ring alongside boxing legend Floyd Mayweather. On the one hand, there was Mayweather: an undisputed welterweight champion with a staggering 50-0 record. On the other hand, Paul was 18 years his junior and physically superior, but his only previous fights had been vs YouTuber JJ ‘KSI‘ Olatunji, and Paul had won neither. Ultimately, the fight ended in a stalemate, and Tyson gave Paul some words of encouragement after avoiding defeat to one of the greatest boxers of all-time. “You kicked ass. I was wrong. You kicked ass. Ain’t no doubt about it,” Tyson said. “I’m proud of you. You’re the baddest. Everybody’s talking about you. You’re the man. You went eight rounds with the greatest of all time.” Paul was very complimentary of his opponent on the night, but Tyson believed he fended off Mayweather well. “He was quick. He was fast,” Paul said. “Nah, he wasn’t that sassy,” Tyson replied. “You got him with those punches.” Tyson was made to somewhat eat his words, having predicted back in December that Mayweather was going to “beat his f***ing ass”, although he did expect Paul to “fight back”. And Tyson has made his admiration of the Paul brothers well-known, having credited the duo for reigniting mainstream interest in the “dying sport” as UFC threatened to usurp boxing as the most popular combat sport. In fact, Tyson then backed Jake to take down former UFC champion Tyron Woodley in their fight which is due to take place in August. “Tyron is going to get knocked the f*** out, right?” Mike added. “Listen, man. Until you guys lose, I’ve got to stick with you. You made me proud of you. Congratulations. That’s beautiful.” Despite names like Conor McGregor and Jake Paul being touted, it’s not yet known who Logan will face in his next fight. But the encouragement from Tyson and ability to go the distance with Mayweather will put him in good stead – no matter who he ends up facing.

  • Mike Tyson & Logan Paul’s boxing match date reportedly set – Dexerto

Mike Tyson & Logan Paul’s boxing match date reportedly set TrillerMike Tyson announced he’s returning to the ring in 2022 and could be facing off against none other than Logan Paul. Tyson is one of the most famous boxers on earth. Over the years, he’s struck up a bit of a friendship with Jake and Logan Paul, who’ve been putting their mark on the sport as of late. Rumors about one of the Paul brothers actually getting into the ring with Tyson have been flying for months but now it seems like it actually might be set to happen. Mike Tyson vs. Logan Paul confirmed? Back in July of 2021 Logan Paul confirmed that his next match following Floyd Mayweather was already in the works. Even back then there were rumors flying he could be taking on Tyson. On October 22 Drama Alert host Keemstar reported on Twitter that sources told him the elder Paul brother would indeed be taking on Iron Mike in February 2022. Logan Paul vs Mike Tyson Feb 2022 ! Sources tell #DramaAlert pic.twitter.com/7B6hmEiXDg — KEEM 🍿 (@KEEMSTAR) October 23, 2021 A day later the Irish Sun published a cryptic interview with Tyson, who discussed his next opponent. He didn’t use any names but his answer was familiar with how he described a potential fight with Logan before. “I am going to have a return fight in February and we are pretty skeptical about the opponent,” Tyson told the Sun. “But it will be a really stimulating opponent.” Tyson has said in the past the Paul brothers success is “good for the sport” of boxing which makes the “stimulating” part of that quote very interesting to see. However, an unconfirmed report and a cryptic interview are all we have to go on at the moment, with no official confirmation coming from either Paul or Tyson’s camps at the time of writing. If Logan does end up fighting Tyson, it would make the social media star one of the few people on earth, if not the only one, to box both Iron Mike and Floyd ‘Money’ Mayweather. Him surviving without being KO’d against either, would be a feat on its own as well.

  • Mike Tyson open to fighting Jake Paul but thinks he’s too “crazy” to stay out of trouble – Dexerto

Mike Tyson open to fighting Jake Paul but thinks he’s too “crazy” to stay out of trouble Instagram: Jake Paul/YouTube: Mike Tyson‘Iron’ Mike Tyson is down to fight Jake Paul inside the boxing ring, however, he’s concerned that the YouTube star would land himself in trouble before the two could touch gloves. When Mike Tyson returned to boxing in 2020 to take on Roy Jones Jr, many fans and pundits quickly started suggesting other fights that the former Heavyweight champion could take on. A few zeroed in on the idea of Tyson taking on either Jake or Logan Paul, seeing as the 55-year-old has been quite complimentary of the brothers and their boxing skills. While he wasn’t completely up for it at first, things have changed over time. After rumors swirled that he and Jake were negotiating a deal to fight, ‘Iron’ Mike claimed that was news to him, but that he’d be down for a certain price. Though, he does have a few concerns that the social media star wouldn’t even make it to fight day if they were to square off. During the April 20 episode of Tyson’s Hotboxin‘ podcast, Joe Rogan brought up the topic of Mike and Jake squaring off in the ring as he praised the social media star as a “genius” for calling out Tyson. The boxing legend quickly responded that he’d take the fight, given the attention that Jake brings, and the possibility that they could break Floyd Mayweather’s pay-per-view sales record. Though, Tyson harbors concerns about Jake’s behavior. “You know what I worry about? I worry about him getting in trouble before the fight happens,” Tyson said. “I’d tell him ‘Hey man, you’re going to go to jail for real, chill out’. You can be wild without going to jail. This dude is crazy, he would be throwing stuff at people, bottles, and stuff.” Timestamp of 1:10:00 The 55-year-old noted it would ultimately be “cool” to fight Jake, given that the pair are friends and they’ve been respectful of each other previously. While Tyson has concerns for Jake, the social media star has credited boxing for keeping him on the right path as he has also worried about potentially ending up behind bars.

  • Mike Tyson finally speaks out about viral plane fight video – Dexerto

Mike Tyson finally speaks out about viral plane fight video YouTube: Hotboxin’ with Mike TysonFormer boxing champion Mike Tyson has finally shared his side of the airplane fight video that went viral back in April, explaining that his wife doesn’t like it when he takes public planes. Back in April 2022, pictures and videos of Mike Tyson began surfacing showing the iconic boxer throwing punches with a fan on a plane. Not too long after, it became clear that the ‘fan’ had been harassing Tyson to the point where he became angry enough to attack him. Now a month after the videos went viral, Tyson revealed his side of the story, mentioning that his wife doesn’t like it when he takes public planes anyway. Mike Tyson talks about viral plane fight video During the May 19 episode of his podcast, one of the co-hosts mentioned that Tyson was recently in a bit of a “situation,” which was the viral plane fight video. “They said they aren’t gonna press charges. He kept fu*kin with me. I took pictures with this dude [and he kept messing with me],” he explained. “I shouldn’t even be taking public planes, my wife gets mad that I take public planes but what am I supposed to do, have a bodyguard?” (Topic starts at 20:03 in the video) Just days after the incident went viral, Logan Paul and Joe Rogan shared reactions on their respective podcasts. Logan defended the boxing great on Impaulsive, saying that he understands being ‘heckled’ in public like Mike was. “if we’re sitting next to each other on a plane and it’s clear I’m not into the conversation — stop,” he explained. Joe Rogan’s reaction was similar on his self-titled podcast, mentioning to guest Dan Soder that heckling Mike Tyson is like “headbutting a beehive.”

  • Mike Tyson hits out at Nintendo after thinking there’s a new ‘Punch-Out’ game – Dexerto

Mike Tyson hits out at Nintendo after thinking there’s a new ‘Punch-Out’ game Hotboxin’ with Mike Tyson, YouTube / Punch Out, NintendoFormer professional boxing star Mike Tyson is no stranger to guest starring in video games – but he feels that one major company has left him out of their upcoming production. Why is Mike Tyson beefing with Nintendo? Tyson took shots at major video game developer Nintendo in a Tweet on April 4, claiming that the company had already begun production on a new ‘Punch Out’ game without notifying him. “Heard Nintendo was doing the new ‘Punch Out’ without even contacting me,” Tyson wrote. “It won’t be the same. My knockouts made the game. That’s wack.” heard @Nintendo was doing the new “Punch Out” without even contacting me. it wont be the same. my knockouts made the game. thats whack. — Mike Tyson (@MikeTyson) April 4, 2019 However, Tyson’s comments come as a confusing surprise to fans, as there is no upcoming ‘Punch Out’ game in production – at least that we know of. Unless Tyson leaked an as-yet unheard of game, it appears that the pugilist was referring to the re-release of the classic NES ‘Punch Out’ on the Nintendo Switch, which replaced his final boss fight with an enemy named “Mr. Dream” after their license to use Tyson as a character expired. Tyson had even Tweeted about being replaced with “Mr. Dream” in a preceding post, writing, “Mr. Dream? everyone tell Nintendo America who they think of when they hear ‘Punch Out.’” In fact, Tyson was even featured in the original game’s title, which had initially been ‘Mike Tyson’s Punch Out’ before Nintendo decided to mitigate possible legal risks. mr dream? everyone tell @NintendoAmerica who they think of when they hear punch out pic.twitter.com/2j51PLt0Em — Mike Tyson (@MikeTyson) April 4, 2019 Mike Tyson’s run-in with Capcom Nintendo’s choice to pull Tyson from ‘Punch Out’ wouldn’t be the first time he was removed from a game, either; Capcom notably switched his name from boxer ‘M. Bison’ in Street Fighter II ahead of release, thus changing all three names for its cast of boss characters in the process to avoid a potential lawsuit. Despite Tyson’s apparent blunder in regards to the Switch re-release, he very well may have heard rumblings of a new ‘Punch Out’ in the works – although no such developments have yet been reported. Tyson’s Tweet on the matter has since gone viral, with even the likes of major Twitch streamer Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins flexing his signed copy of the original title in response to the debacle. Tyson has since poked fun at the situation, even uploading a clip from his podcast where he’d learned about his inspiration for Street Fighter’s original boxer.

  • Mike Tyson dubs YouTube boxing the sport’s “biggest help in history” – Dexerto

Mike Tyson dubs YouTube boxing the sport’s “biggest help in history” YouTube: ImpaulsiveMike Tyson might be one of the most fearsome boxers to ever grace the ring, but he explained in his appearance on Logan Paul’s Impaulsive podcast that he believes YouTuber fights are “the biggest help for boxing.” YouTube boxing has been incredibly divisive for longtime fans and major personalities in the sport. Many detractors believe that these large-scale events between personalities do a ‘disservice’ to the sport, ignoring the many years of training and sacrifice that go into being an elite boxer. If there’s one person, though, that knows all too well about training and sacrifice for the sport, it’s Mike Tyson arguably one of the greatest of all time — and he disagrees with that sentiment entirely. In fact, he believes YouTube boxing could be the best thing to ever happen to the sport — even if he thinks Logan doesn’t stand a chance in his bout against Floyd Mayweather in February. In his appearance on Impaulsive, Tyson spoke about all manner of things, be it his wild lifestyle or pet tigers, but of course, one topic they had to discuss was boxing. As the world’s youngest ever heavyweight champion, ‘Iron’ Mike Tyson might have been expected to be another detractor of the YouTube boxing world, but in fact, he’s quite the opposite. After being asked for his opinion by co-host Mike Majlak, Tyson said that YouTube boxing is “the biggest help for boxing in the history of boxing” and that it “shows the power” of the sport. He then referenced cheating that already existed in the sport — including himself biting Evander Holyfield’s ear in 1997 — asking how low boxing can go and that it’s “only going up” from those events. Of course, while it may have seemed that Mike was making those comments in jest, he was very serious in his belief that YouTube boxing is a great step forward for the sport. Read More: Logan Paul “detests” his old YouTube videos – We’ve already seen fights between the likes of KSI and Logan Paul do incredible pay-per-view numbers and bring new eyes into boxing, but we may have to assess in a few years how much it has really helped. That said, if Mike Tyson himself is co-signing influencers going at it in the ring, that’s a pretty big deal.

  • Mike Tyson explains how Jake Paul has changed boxing for the better – Dexerto

Mike Tyson explains how Jake Paul has changed boxing for the better Instagram: miketyson, jakepaulFrom one boxer to another, Mike Tyson has shared why he thinks Jake Paul has changed boxing for the better and will only continue to do so. Self-proclaimed ‘problem child’ turned professional boxer, Jake Paul, has surpassed expectations when it comes to fighting, as he’s faced eight opponents, only losing to one. Though Paul is in the beginning stage of his professional boxing career, as he began in 2018 when he defeated British YouTuber Deji Olatunji, he’s gained the likes of many. Not only has Paul had staggering pay-per-views for his fights against Tommy Fury and Nate Diaz, as his fan base continues to grow, but he also has one very important figure in his corner — Mike Tyson. Mike Tyson says Jake Paul has done “more for boxing than some champions” Paul is one of boxing’s most talked about athletes at the moment, as his August 5 win against Nate Diaz has opened doors to more fans and even more money for the 26-year-old boxer. He has four knockouts and three wins by decision. When in training mode, there’s no stopping him. Put him in the ring, and there’s nothing but stamina and sweat carrying the YouTuber turned boxer. Not only has Paul made himself a household boxing name for viewers with his determination and skill, but he has also fetched the likeness of one of boxing’s greatest athletes, Mike Tyson. Tyson, who has a boxing record of 50 wins, 6 losses, and 2 no-contests, opened up in Paul’s Netflix documentary, Untold: Jake Paul the Problem Child, about his affinity and support for the new boxer, saying, “Listen, he did more for boxing than some of the champions did.” Tyson continued to explain how Paul has changed boxing for the better, saying, “I’m a fan of people that know how to put a*ses in seats. Those are the guys I look up to.” He then explained how Paul is going to “save” the sport, saying, “So we gotta keep this guy bright ’cause he’s gonna save boxing as long as he continues to fight. He got the light, you know what I mean? He’s touched. He got the light.” Though Paul recently defeated Diaz, the two have proposed an MMA rematch with $10 million on the line. The fight isn’t set in stone, but if there’s one thing we know about Paul, it’s that he doesn’t back down from a battle worth winning. As for Tyson, he’s currently the host of the podcast ‘Hotboxin with Mike Tyson as well as the owner of Iron Mike Productions, a boxing promotions company.

  • Mike Tyson credits YouTubers for bringing boxing back “from the dead” – Dexerto

Mike Tyson credits YouTubers for bringing boxing back “from the dead” Instagram: Jake PaulBoxing legend Mike Tyson took the time to thank Jake Paul and other boxing YouTubers after his fight for making the sport “alive” once again. “Iron” Mike Tyson reigned as the undisputed heavyweight boxing champion of the world from 1987 to 1990 and is one of the sport’s most well-known stars today. While Tyson’s popularity hasn’t waned over the years, boxing itself is another story. There are a lot of theories and plausible reasons as to why, but there’s no denying that the sport is nowhere near as big as it once was. The star power the technically-retired boxer brought to the Nov. 28 bout was sure to draw people in, but Jake Paul on the undercard got a whole new generation to watch, which Tyson thinks is the shot in the arm the sport needs. “Listen, my ego says so many things, but my reality is they [YouTubers] helped boxing so much,” he told reporters following his fight. “They owe these YouTube boxers some kind of respect, they should give them some belts, because these guys made boxing alive.” Case in point just shortly after Paul knocked out former NBA player Nate Robinson in the second round of their fight, social media lit up with clips of the shot and various memes of Robinson lying face-down on things; it’s not every day you see boxing topics trending on Twitter. “Boxing was pretty much a dying sport, UFC was kicking our butt, and now we got these YouTube boxers boxing? 25 million views,” Tyson continued. “Boxing’s going back, thanks to the YouTube boxers.” https://twitter.com/defnoodles/status/1333135265347497985?s=20 There aren’t any solid numbers for how many people tuned in to Saturday’s fight as of yet, but based on how many people were posting about it, it’s safe to say it was one of the most-watched boxing matches of the year. We don’t know when or if Tyson will fight again, but Jake Paul certainly will, and there’s another big-name marquee on the horizon in September 2021 when two of the world’s strongest men — Eddie ‘The Beast’ Hall and Hafthor ‘The Mountain’ Bjornsson — attempt to settle their rivalry in the ring. Boxing and social media personalities don’t seem like a match made in heaven at first, but it appears to be working out very well for both sides and doesn’t show any signs of slowing down either.

  • Mike Tyson defends Jake Paul against critics who are “mad” over boxing success – Dexerto

Mike Tyson defends Jake Paul against critics who are “mad” over boxing success YouTube: Jimmy Kimmel/UninteruptedMike Tyson, once again, stepped to the defense of Jake Paul and said that he is unsure why people are “mad” at the YouTuber seeing as he’s bringing interest and money to boxing. Ever since Jake Paul moved into the world of professional boxing, there have been plenty of outsiders who have criticized his involvement regardless of the intrigue and interest he brings. Former heavyweight king Mike Tyson, though, has constantly praised Jake and his brother Logan for their willingness to fight – and even believes people are ducking Jake because they don’t want to have the ignominy of losing to a social media star. Tyson’s defense of Jake has always been in regards to the interest and fanbase that he commands, noting that no world champ has the same reach as Jake. On top of that, he also believes the YouTuber-turned-boxer is pretty skilled in the ring and people shouldn’t be “mad” at him. The 55-year-old appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live to talk about his viral mid-flight fracas, as well as the possibility of fighting Jake at some point down the line – which he says needs to happen “this year.” On the topic of Jake, the boxing icon repeated that he’s good for boxing and deserves a bit more credit. “He’s beating people who he shouldn’t really be beating and you’ve got to give him that credit,” Tyson told the late-night host. “He’s doing so much good for boxing. Listen, this guy has got 70 million people following him every time he fights. Champions of the world don’t have that many people following them. So what he’s doing for boxing is just sensational, no one should be hating on that,” Tyson added. “They should be saying ‘yeah let’s just fight him’. He’s helping everybody get money, so why are people mad at him?” Timestamp of 7:26 Tyson joked that if he and Jake eventually square off, and he wins, he’ll be able to add himself the ‘YouTube Champion’ to his glittering list of accolades. As noted, he’s always gone to bat for Jake and, if they ever do fight, that will likely increase his respect for the YouTuber. So, don’t expect to see Tyson change his mind anytime soon.

  • Mike Tyson claims Jake Paul would upset professional boxers in fights – Dexerto

Mike Tyson claims Jake Paul would upset professional boxers in fights Flickr: birzer/Instagram: Jake PaulBoxing legend ‘Iron’ Mike Tyson has doubled down on his support for Logan and Jake Paul’s involvement with the sport, claiming no one has ever brought the same amount of eyes as they have. The Paul brothers first used the arena of boxing to settle their scores with fellow content creators, however, they’ve both since far surpassed that point. In the case of Logan, he’s stepped between the ropes with Floyd ‘Money’ Mayweather and lived to tell the tale, while his brother Jake has racked up 5-0 record taking down MMA stars like Ben Askren and Tyron Woodley. While some fighters and pundits are against their involvement, the pair have always had the backing of the ‘Iron’ Mike Tyson. The former pound-for-pound king has lauded the Paul’s abilities both inside and out of the ring before, and he never backs away from praising them. The Heavyweight boxing icon appeared on Shannon Sharpe’s Club Shay Shay podcast, touching on his return to boxing and how the Paul’s have helped the sport in a big way. “We started a genre and now we’ve got guys like Logan Paul doing this stuff. I think Logan Paul is a big shot in the arm for boxing. No boxer has ever brought that many people to the network like Logan Paul did and I think he’s good for boxing, he brings money to boxing,” Tyson said, though he referred to the accomplishments of Logan’s brother, Jake, and talked about the next moves for him. “I think he should too [fight a boxer], but these guys are very emotional and they want him to fight him so bad they forget that he’s a trained fighter,” he continued. “He’s going to make them believe that they can really beat this guy because he’s white with blonde hair and blue eyes, and then they go in the ring and something different happens.” Timestamp of 13:50 Tyson also noted that some fighters are still “sleeping” on the abilities that the YouTubers have, and that might be why some of them don’t want to fight. It’s not the first, and likely isn’t the last, time that Tyson has praised the pair, but when it comes to fighting them himself, it’s unlikely to ever happen.

Mike Tyson claims Jake Paul would knock out Austin McBroom in “one round” YouTube: The ACE Family, Hotboxin’ With Mike Tyson, Jake PaulBoxing legend Mike Tyson has weighed in on a potential bout between two of YouTube’s biggest stars — and he has a clear winner in mind for the very first round. Although influencer boxing is a trend that’s just now picking up steam, it’s caught the eyes of many high-profile celebrities and athletes… including the likes of boxing legend Mike Tyson. In fact, Tyson is notoriously cool with the Paul brothers, two YouTuber siblings who have made a big name for themselves in the world of combat sports thanks to their ongoing rivalries with other content creators. One of these rivalries is between Jake Paul and Austin McBroom, the ACE Family influencer who is currently undergoing a slew of lawsuits after fighters complained of not being paid for the YouTubers vs TikTokers boxing event in June. View this post on Instagram Jake and McBroom have a tense history between them; earlier in June, it was speculated that Paul had slashed the tires of McBroom’s Lamborghini after the two squared up following an episode of the BBFs Podcast. That’s not all; Paul has also repeatedly accused McBroom of cheating on his wife, Catherine Paiz, who has sparked a slew of divorce rumors after starting her own YouTube channel amid the current lawsuits against her husband. https://twitter.com/Dexerto/status/1401543659766652933?ref_src=twsrctfwtwcamptweetembedtwterm1401543659766652933twgrtwcons1_&ref_url=httpswww.dexerto.comentertainmentjake-paul-allegedly-slashed-austin-mcbrooms-lamborghini-tires-after-face-off-1589462 Now, it looks like Iron Mike himself has tossed his two cents into the ring after a potential bout between these two YouTubers was brought up in a July 28 episode of his ‘Hotboxin’ podcast. It seems there’s no room for doubt in Tyson’s eyes when it comes to the more skilled combatant. “This guy, Jake, gonna knock him out in one round,” the former world heavyweight champion quipped. (Topic begins at 42:34) Unfortunately, it doesn’t look like Paul will be facing off with McBroom anytime soon; the “Problem Child” is preparing for his upcoming bout against UFC champ Tyron Woodley later this month, and has even set his eyes on Conor McGregor as a future opponent. Of course, considering the charges levied against him by the state of Arizona, he might have to hold off on his boxing career until his legal issues get sorted out.

Boxing’s explosion in the YouTube world has caught many fans of the sport by surprise, with some professional boxers – like former Cruiserweight world champion Tony Bellew – criticizing the developments as dangerous. However, one aspect of the YouTube boxing world that has never been in doubt is their potential to raise millions for the participating fighters. That is likely what attracted Floyd Mayweather, and appears to be enticing fellow boxing legend Mike Tyson. Following the bout with Mayweather, there were some rumors that Logan was targeting a bout with Mike Tyson. While Tyson has previously said he would not be interested in fighting either of the Pauls, recent comments on his podcast Hotboxin‘ suggest the heavyweight icon is open to a bout. Tyson’s guest, Freddie Gibbs, joked that he was “sick of seeing all these Jake Paul fights”, prompting Tyson to offer his thoughts. “Those are the money fights,” the heavyweight legend said. “Those are the fights that make the money. Those guys got 75 million people watching them. Yeah [I would fight one of them], hell yeah.” Timestamp: 33:38 When pushed to pick one of the brothers, Tyson pinpointed Logan, referring to him by weight. He also stated that he’d expect $100 million for a fight with the YouTuber, similar to what Floyd Mayweather is believed to have earned. Such a lucrative pay package would probably not be beyond the two stars, especially if the parties involved want to strike a mutually beneficial deal. Since his fight with Mayweather, Paul has claimed that British rapper KSI throws the more dangerous punches. Tyson’s punches would be in another league altogether.

  • Mike Tyson addresses $50 million Jake Paul fight claims and it’s bad news – Dexerto

Mike Tyson addresses $50 million Jake Paul fight claims and it’s bad news Instagram: Jake PaulBoxing icon Mike Tyson has responded to claims that he and Jake Paul are “on board” for a $50 million mega-fight later this year. With more influencers and athletes from other sports stepping into the boxing scene, many boxers, promoters, and fight fans have been skeptical about the whole thing. A few have had harsh words to say about the likes of Jake Paul, but the YouTuber has garnered a massive supporter in the form of boxing icon ‘Iron’ Mike Tyson. The 55-year-old has praised both Jake and Logan Paul’s boxing skills, and believes they’re only helping the sport by putting new eyes on it. With Tyson being a vocal supporter of the social media stars, he’s previously said he wouldn’t fight either of them. However, there have been reports that he and Jake Paul are “on board” for a fight in 2022. Those reports surfaced on January 17, claiming that a “verbal deal has been struck” for a bout in Las Vegas to place in 2022, that the organizers believed would be worth around $50 million. While Jake has, in the past, been quick to comment on such rumors – just as he has been doing with all the talk surrounding Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarez’s next opponent – he hasn’t said anything just yet. Though, Tyson has done so, playing down the reports. “This is new to me,” the former Heavyweight champion tweeted a few hours after the initial reports. “I saw Jake in St. Barths and he never mentioned it.” This is new to me. I saw Jake in St. Barths and he never mentioned it. https://t.co/eL01HDMdmr — Mike Tyson (@MikeTyson) January 17, 2022 While Tyson’s response could be used to build a bit of hype around things, it is a different tone compared to the last time he was rumored to be putting the gloves back on. In October, when the boxing legend had reportedly agreed to a clash with Logan Paul, he admitted that “anything is possible” and spoke about how charities would benefit. Time will tell if these new fight claims end up being right, but they’re not off to a great start.

  • Mike Tyson argues that “ridiculous” Jake Paul is actually good for boxing – Dexerto

Mike Tyson argues that “ridiculous” Jake Paul is actually good for boxing Zuffa LLC / Mike Tyson TwitterThe boxing world is torn on the sport’s latest YouTube celebrity trend with Jake Paul, his brother Logan, and more taking the ring. But Mike Tyson can see how these “ridiculous” events can be good for boxing. Jake Paul, in particular, has been leading the charge with his antics and publicly trash-talking some of the bigger names in action sports like UFC welterweight champion Kamaru Usman and Mr. 50-0 himself, Floyd Mayweather. Some believe this is casting a shadow on the sport. LA Times sports columnist Dylan Hernández noted how “the clown shows that make a mockery of the once-proud sport” have been taking the way from the actual headline events like Canelo Alvarez vs Billy Joe Saunders, for example. Hernández was specifically talking about Jake’s hat-grabbing fiasco with Mayweather at his older brother’s press event in Florida. While that’s one of the most prominent outbursts of the YouTube boxing era, it left a bad taste with critics around the sport. Timestamp at 19:47 for mobile viewers But Iron Mike sees it another way. While he still thinks Jake is “ridiculous,” the amount of attention he’s drawing to the sport can be massive for the future of boxing. “That’s why that stuff is good,” he said on the Hotboxin’ with Mike show. “Because the real [boxers] don’t want to fight each other. Jake Paul fought on my show because he got 75 million viewers. “He’s good for boxing. Is he kinda ridiculous? Yeah. But is he good for boxing? F**k yeah. Boxing needs shit like that.” At first, the Floyd Mayweather vs Logan Paul bout was getting traction for the names that would be in the ring. But Thursday’s press event made the June 6 exhibition match a lot more personal for the wrong reasons. In a broader sense, YouTube boxing has reignited the showmanship and fiery dialogue of the brutal sport – which is attracting new audiences. But for purists, it’s just not real boxing. Still, if event managers can convert the newfound popularity that Jake Paul and the rest of what YouTubers have to offer into long-lasting appeal, then boxing could be headed into a new golden age of viewership.

  • Mike Perry hits back at Jake Paul’s offer for boxing rematch before they’ve even fought – Dexerto

Mike Perry hits back at Jake Paul’s offer for boxing rematch before they’ve even fought Instagram/JakePaul/OverdogspodJake Paul is already open to a rematch with ‘Platinum’ Mike Perry ahead of their match-up, but he doesn’t want to do it in the boxing ring. So, the ex-UFC star has an idea. When Jake Paul’s highly-anticipated summer fight with Mike Tyson had to be rescheduled, the YouTuber-turned-boxer had to call upon a backup fighter to take ‘Iron’ Mike’s place. That led him to former UFC star Mike Perry, who has a boxing background. The two fighters will meet in the ring on July 20, but the ‘Problem Child’ already looking past that. He’s rescheduled that fight with Tyson for the end of the year, and he’s open to a rematch with Perry. However, Jake wouldn’t want to run it back in the boxing ring – he wants Perry to be his first opponent in MMA. And, the former UFC star is open to doing it, with a twist too. “I’m down, like. When I beat Mike Perry in boxing, f*ck it, we can run it in MMA,” the YouTuber told DAZN Boxing. “I want an MMA fight. I mean, the Smart Cage is literally right there and I think, once I start MMA, my wrestling background is going to come out. “I think I’ll be a very dangerous, dangerous MMA fighter as well. So, Mike Perry can get it.” The former UFC star called those claims “cap” and questioned if Jake would be done to do a bare-knuckle fight instead. “Why not bare knuckle? I’ll take Jake’s back. Wrestling and Jiu-Jitsu, that’s not something you just keep in your back pocket,” he said. Jake has been keen to get an opponent penciled in for his PFL debut and had been expected to fight at the end of the year. That has been shifted though because of his focus on boxing. So, we’re still in a waiting period to see him inside the cage.

  • Dillon Danis denies Mike Perry’s claims he pulled out of Logan Paul fight – Dexerto

Dillon Danis denies Mike Perry’s claims he pulled out of Logan Paul fight Instagram/Platinummikeperry/DillonDanisLogan Paul versus Dillon Danis is still on despite claims by Mike Perry, who says he’ll be taking over as Paul’s opponent later this month. The rivalry between Logan Paul and Dillon Danis reached a new level in the build-up to their co-main event match on the Prime card with KSI vs Tommy Fury being the other headline bout. In weeks leading up to their long-awaited head-to-head, Danis began posting photos of Paul’s fiance Nina Agdal with other men, insinuating that she had slept with them. This resulted in a lawsuit being filed against Danis, with Agdal even claiming he had hacked her Snapchat. Now, on October 5, Danis took issue with Logan “bragging” about the lawsuits and suggested that he would be bailing on the fight because of them. Did Dillon Danis pull out of Logan Paul fight? In a post on X, Danis seemed to imply that his long-awaited match against Logan Paul was off and he would no longer be taking part. “Logan bragging about lawsuits again he isn’t built for the fight game, this pu**y doesn’t deserve me I’m out,” he said. Immediately following this, Mike Perry, the mixed martial artist who Logan had lined up to fight him as a replacement in case Dillon dropped out, chimed in. “It’s official guys… I’m in,” Perry said in an Instagram story. As all this confusion continued and uncertainty about the showdown mounting, Danis confirmed that the fight was still on, following up on X saying “See you October 14th pu**y boy.” The feud between the two influencers has reached new highs and it’s anyone’s guess who will emerge victorious when the two finally settle things in the ring in under two week’s time. • Mike Maljak hints that Logan Paul vs Floyd Mayweather fight has been delayed again – Dexerto

Mike Maljak hints that Logan Paul vs Floyd Mayweather fight has been delayed again YouTube: Logan Paul/Pixabay: RcellisMike Maljak and Logan Paul have teased the possibility that the YouTuber’s boxing bout with Floyd Mayweather might be delayed a little longer than initially thought. YouTubers jumping into a boxing ring to settle a beef has become quite the norm over the last few years, ever since KSI and Joe Weller squared off back in 2018. Since then, YouTubers have joined boxing’s professional ranks, and the Paul brothers have taken things to another level with Jake knocking out Nate Robinson and calling out professional boxers as well as UFC stars. His brother Logan had been scheduled to face undefeated boxing icon Floyd ‘Money’ Mayweather in an exhibition bout on February 20, but, it has been delayed – with fans coming up with their own idea for why the postponement has happened. Logan opened up about the postponement on his imPaulsive podcast, saying the fight was delayed due to “COVID and business complications” and not because of a lack of interest. Read More: What is a TikTok Accountant? – A date for a rematch hasn’t been penciled in, and some fans have grown concerned that the fight might not happen at all, especially after Logan and Mike Maljak joked about the delay in a recent vlog. The pair were in Miami with Logan’s brother Jake, when they got around to talking about the brother’s bouts. “I know that,” Mike said when the date for Jake’s fight with Ben Askren was mentioned. “And you’re fighting Floyd Mayweather in June 2026, we got an update on that,” he quipped, leaving himself and the gang laughing. Timestamp of 6:05 Of course, fans will want a second date for the fight nailed down sooner rather than later, but it’s becoming clear that the wait is set to rumble on and not end anytime soon. It could be the case that everyone would rather have fans in the arena, rather than the piped in crowd noise of some other fights, though who knows when that will be possible.

  • Mike Perry accuses Jake Paul of taking steroids ahead of July boxing clash – Dexerto

Mike Perry accuses Jake Paul of taking steroids ahead of July boxing clash Instagram/JakePaul/OverdogspodJake Paul is set to make his return to the ring against former UFC fighter Mike Perry, and he’s already accusing the influencer of taking steroids before their match. Mike Tyson was originally set to battle Jake Paul on July 20, but the 57-year-old was forced to postpone his fight after suffering an ulcer flare-up. Mike Perry stepped up as a replacement, fresh off a 5-0 record in bare-knuckle fighting. During a June 21 appearance on the Overdogs Podcast, Perry was asked about what kind of drug testing the fight would have, with host Ice Bagz joking that Jake was ‘running hot’ – a side-effect of taking steroids. (Topic begins at 10:25) “Well, he’s gotta be hot. If he went from, you know, 210, if he really did go to 230, he had to use something. He had to use something to get there,” Perry replied. “I don’t know how the testing is going to be. They may test me and not test him. That’s fine. I feel like, I’ve fought people who are on it. I know I’ve trained with people who are on the juice. You know, it is what it is. You can test me any day of the week. I eat chicken and steak, and I eat rice, and I train, and I just love to fight. So, it’s just more of a mentality thing for me.” Perry isn’t the first fighter to accuse Paul of taking steroids. Two of Jake’s previous opponents, Tyron Woodley and Nate Diaz, made similar remarks, both of which ‘The Problem Child’ denied. Jake Paul’s alleged steroid use was called into question during a lie detector test experiment he did with his brother. Logan, when he was asked about rumors of taking performance-enhancing drugs. “If taking Viagra counts, then yes. It’s performance-enhancing, brother,” Jake joked originally before answering the question with a firm “no.” His answer was deemed truthful.

  • Mike Majlak teases “Clout Gang 2.0” with FaZe Banks – Dexerto

Mike Majlak teases “Clout Gang 2.0” with FaZe Banks YouTube: Mike Majlak Vlogs / FaZe BanksNight Shift creator and ‘imPaulsive’ co-host Mike Majlak has teased a potentially massive YouTube collaboration in his latest video, where he was joined by none other than FaZe Banks. As fans of the FaZe co-founder have noticed, Ricky Banks has been absent from content creation for some time, having gone back and forth from break to break over the past year or so. While he teased a potential comeback via Twitter some time ago, it’s been radio silence on his end ever since — but thanks to a recent upload from Mike Majlak, we know that Banks has a huge project up his sleeve. In a February 22 episode of the Night Shift video series, Majlak claimed that a “Clout Gang 2.0” is in the works, which was in the works well before Logan Paul announced his surprise move to Puerto Rico from Los Angeles. “Before I even found out that Logan was moving to Puerto Rico and ruining everything that we’ve created here at the Maverick House, I already started laying the foundation for a new project that I’m working on with Banks and a couple of other people you may know of,” he explained. Read More: Who has the most posts on TikTok? – “Call it a Clout Gang 2.0,” he continued. “2017 all over again. (Topic begins at 0:47) Unfortunately, it doesn’t look like the name ‘Clout Gang 2.0’ is sticking, as Banks effectively dubbed it “Cringe” — but the possibility of another massive content group is certainly intriguing, especially in wake of houses like the Hype House and Sway House effectively losing their initial popularity. For now, fans will have to wait for more members to be revealed as Mike Majlak adjusts to life without Logan Paul and ex-girlfriend Lana… although it seems like he’s doing just fine, considering the hype around his upcoming project.

  • Mike Majlak uses NFT to buy $4.1m LA mansion – Dexerto

Mike Majlak uses NFT to buy $4.1m LA mansion YouTube: Mike Majlak Vlogs/Bored Ape Yacht ClubMike Majlak has officially bought his first home in Los Angeles, California, worth $4.1 million. Even better, he used his Bored Ape Yacht Club NFT as leverage to buy the house. In April 2022, Majlak bought his Bored Ape for a whopping $700,000, a figure that stunned even avid NFT collector Logan Paul. While the entire crypto market may be crashing at the time of writing, seeing the Bored Ape floor price drop dramatically, there is still some inherent value in the NFT, and Mike used that to his advantage. Claiming to be the “first person to leverage an NFT to buy a house,” Majlak even gave a tour of his new place, and it’s just as impressive as you would imagine. Majlak explained the process of using his BAYC NFT to help him buy the house, which involved putting it on a separate platform that then offered him a loan. “The deal went like this,” he explained. “I would lock my Bored Ape NFT into Arcade’s [the name of the platform] protocol. They would then give me a loan of USD Coin against it, then convert that USDC into American dollars to help pay my downpayment on my mortgage. “They were about to make the transfer when the unimaginable happened… Yeah, the crypto and NFT market sh*t the f**king bed, but because Apes are such a strong project, I was still able to make the loan happen. I was able to pull a $200k USDC loan against it, which was enough to scrape together the $1.2m downpayment to secure my mortgage.” Timestamp 3:22 He then showed a few of the highlights of the house, including a big pool in the garden, the huge open-plan living area, views of Los Angeles, and even a climate-controlled wine room. While Majlak may be down a lot of money on his Bored Ape, he’s been able to use it to help buy an incredible LA mansion worth over $4m — so he definitely won’t be too worried about the investment.

Mike Majlak reveals why he’s broken up with Lana Mike Majlak / Lana RhoadesMike Majlak and Lana have been the sweethearts of the internet world for quite some time, but their relationship is officially over, with Mike Majlak breaking the news on YouTube. [jwplayer ftb8P7Xy] Mike and Lana have been in a relationship together for ten months. It’s been a widely publicized roller coaster ride filled with ups and downs. However, it was one that many mutual fans loved to see. It was also the only relationship Majlak has been involved in throughout the past decade. But sadly, not all relationships can stand the test of time, and the two of them have officially parted ways. never thought id ever put out a breakup video but this one was necessary. amara has very much become a part of our lives and i wanted the story told my way before others could tarnish what was an incredible relationship and part of my journey. appreciate your love and patience ❤️ — Mike Majlak (@mikemajlak) October 30, 2020 Mike Majlak broke the news in a YouTube video. “Never thought id ever put out a breakup video but this one was necessary,” he said. “I wanted the story told my way before others could tarnish what was an incredible relationship and part of my journey.” In the video, Mike Majlak explains that he felt like the fans deserved an explanation since the breakup happened out of the blue. “There’s no one specific reason [for the breakup],” he said. “It wasn’t a loyalty thing.” “The best thing about Amara [which is her real name] is that she’s so fiercely loyal,” he added. “I never once had to worry about her cheating [or] talking to any other guys. It was never about other guys.” His comment immediately shuts down rumors and accusations that she cheated on him. It’s often the first thing people suspect when there’s a sudden breakup. Instead, he claimed they were simply “two people who wanted vastly different things.” “Amara was… obsessed with the idea of linear and traditional life and love,” he said. “She wanted to meet a guy, she wanted to settle down, she wanted to have a family and just live this kind of linear life.” “That’s just not who I am,” he said. He also claimed she was “trying to facilitate the vision that she saw for the relationship, which was getting a house and moving in with her.” However, while it made “made complete sense to her,” it didn’t to him, and it didn’t feel right to go ahead with it. In the end, there were too many signs that they wanted “two vastly different things in life” and “weren’t cut out to be together” and “go the distance.” The breakup has been hard on them both, so to make things easier, they’ve been trying not to talk and keeping their distance. It’s a sad end for one of the more beloved internet couples in recent times, but it’s certainly not a bitter one. The two of them have clearly thought long and hard about the decision. In the end, it seems like calling it quits made the most sense in the long run, but they’ve parted ways on good terms.

Mike Majlak stuns Logan Paul with $700,000 BAYC NFT purchase YouTube: Mike Majlak VlogsYouTuber and podcaster Mike Majlak has revealed the “most expensive” purchase of his life, in the form of a Bored Ape Yacht Club NFT that cost $700,000. Mike Majlak is known as a photographer and author, but more popularly as a co-host on the imPaulsive podcast. With his career aspirations taking on wild adventures, it isn’t surprising that Majlak’s latest venture is into the world of NFTs. Now, the YouTuber and former Lovesac Company Marketing Manager has acquired an NFT from the Bored Ape Yacht Club with seriously hefty price tag. Mike Majlak reveals “the most expensive purchase” of his life During his April 9 YouTube vlog, Majlak revealed to Logan Paul that he purchased a Bored Ape Yacht Club NFT for “220” Ethereum. Speaking to Paul and his entourage, Majlak said “Guess what? I’m a little late to the party but yesterday I bought a Bored Ape.” After revealing the amount of cryptocurrency he had spent to acquire it, Paul playful faked a stunned reaction: “Shut the f*** up! That’s so much f**king money. Bro, that’s like 700K.” “It’s a f**king monkey… I’m just kidding, I got a Bored Ape too, welcome to the club!” continued Paul. Paul added “it’s a blue-chip NFT, it’s here to stay, the community is strong, branding’s strong, it’s part of culture. I think it’s a good buy.” (Timestamp of NFT Conversation – 4:57) Logan Paul himself had previously revealed the extent of his own NFT wallet on the Impaulsive podcast. It isn’t Majlak or Paul looking for their slice of NFT action either, as recent rumors suggest that Call of Duty publisher Activision is looking to bring them into future games. With a career as unpredictable as Paul’s, who knows, maybe Paul and Majlak’s next investment will be in the world of CoD.

Some fans will have noticed a growing divide between Logan and Mike, mainly in the lack of appearing in each other’s content. Then, with Logan moving to Puerto Rico and Mike moving into a new content house with the likes of FaZe Banks and Adin Ross, it looks like their working relationship is as good as over. After denying that he had been fired by the YouTube star, Majlak went on Adam22’s No Jumper podcast and the topic came up. As well as talking about alternate realities, clout chasing and Banks’ struggles uploading to YouTube, they decided to tackle Mike being “fired” by his best friend head on. Adam asked if Mike would be going back to Impaulsive, and Banks joked about him “getting the boot,” but Mike gave the proper answer. “Logan’s focused on the fight,” he explained, talking about the upcoming bout with Floyd Mayweather. “We’re not talking about Impaulsive, we’re not talking about the future of the show, we’re not talking about our friendship. We’re not talking about any of that sh*t. He’s focused on the biggest night of his life.” Timestamp 31:27 He also adds that they will “cross the Impaulsive bridge” post-fight, and figure out whatever bulls**t has happened between them then. Needless to say, Mike is not letting the rumor spread that he was fired by Logan, and it sounds like whatever’s happening with them and Impaulsive will have to be settled after Logan’s fight on June 6. It definitely looks as though Mike and Logan are taking separate paths in their content careers, but it would be a shame for them to end their working relationship on a bad note. Fans will be hoping things can go back to normal sooner rather than later.

Mike Majlak reveals what actually happened in ‘cheating’ scandal imPaulsive, YouTube / Ava Louise, InstagramYouTuber and ‘imPaulsive’ podcast host Mike Majlak went viral after allegedly “cheating” on his current main squeeze in early February — and now, he’s finally come out with the full story regarding his purported infidelity. News of Majlak’s “cheating” scandal took the net by storm on February 9, after girlfriend Lana appeared to call out an unnamed woman for “having nothing better to do with your life than sit outside a club for hours.” This “unnamed woman” ended up being Instagram model Ava Louise, who became famous after appearing on an episode of Dr. Phil. Louise replied to Lana’s Tweet, writing, “Imagine getting cheated on with a girl from Dr. Phil LOL,” later providing screenshots of she and Mike appearing to make plans for the evening. After being called out by Lana in a Tweet that has since gone viral, Mike appeared on a February 11 episode of Logan Paul’s ‘imPaulsive’ podcast to explain the situation, which he claims wasn’t strictly “cheating,” since he and Lana never truly solidified the terms of their relationship. “I did feel bad because I knew that I hurt her,” he explained. “I don’t think that I cheated, I don’t think that I was unfaithful, or that I was a liar or anything like that, but I know that what I did hurt her, and that hurts me.” i will address all this skank ass bullshit at a later time but i have a very mad, very beautiful girl i need to go make things right with right now. wish me luck. love you all (except for all you clout chasing hoes) — Mike Majlak (@mikemajlak) February 10, 2020 Majlak went on to describe the events of the night, claiming that Ava had waited for him outside of two clubs to get his attention and even called the Dr. Phil celebrity a “dumpster gremlin,” alleging that she’d messaged him asking to get physical. The YouTuber then admitted that he had, indeed, cheated on Lana with Louise in his hotel room later that night, expressing guilt over the ordeal in spite of their undefined relationship. “She gets an Uber and she walks out, and I sit on my bed and I go…” he continued, placing his head in his hands. “You’re a f*cking idiot.” (Timestamp: 7:30 for mobile viewers) In the end, Majlak apologized to both Lana and Ava Louise, saying that the “Dr. Phil girl” “needs serious help” after claiming that her “whole goal” is to “expose” others. Despite the massive storm that the controversy has sparked online, it seems that Majlak is ultimately sorry for his infidelity — but the jury is still out as to whether he and his lady love are “official.”

  • Mike Majlak reveals Logan Paul kicked him out over his birthday present – Dexerto

Mike Majlak reveals Logan Paul kicked him out over his birthday present Mike Majlak Vlogs / imPaulsive, YouTubeYouTube star Logan Paul was gifted an unusual present for his 25th birthday from longtime friend and podcast host Mike Majlak — but it looks like he was so unimpressed with the gift that he gave his bestie the boot. While Logan Paul has been vocal about his distaste for birthdays due to having high expectations, he was given one of the oddest gifts imaginable for his 25th trip around the sun — a mantis shrimp, which he later admitted wasn’t as colorful as he’d hoped it would be. That’s not all; one of his vlogs revealed that Mike had only spent $6 on the creature, which certainly pales in comparison to the present Logan got him for his birthday two months prior. Thus, Paul kicked Mike out of his house, as revealed by his now-disgraced friend in an episode of ‘The Night Shift’ on April 9. “I thought it was gonna be the greatest gift ever,” Mike admitted. “I thought he was gonna be so excited about it. …he f**kin’ hated it! It was the wrong shrimp, it wasn’t colorful enough for him. He didn’t like it. He thought it was ugly.” That’s not all; he also claimed that he and Paul got into a verbal fight, which resulted in the YouTuber asking his friend for a bit of space to cool off, resulting in Majlak removing himself from the premises. “That night, I wasn’t having it,” he continued. “I was pissed off. I said a bunch of s**t I didn’t mean. He said a bunch of s**t that wasn’t super nice, either. We were just slinging insults left and right. …it wasn’t my choice to leave the house. He asked me to give him a little bit of space, and rightfully so. And so, just like that, I’m back out on the mean streets.” (Topic begins at 2:24 for mobile readers) Paul addressed the matter during the latest episode of the imPaulsive podcast on April 9, where he read aloud a humorous letter sent from Mike to the audience. “The intent was good, because it was technically a branch of my favorite animal, the mantis shrimp,” he said of the matter, when his gift was brought up. “Look guys, I’m on the same page… I don’t know.” (Topic begins at 6:25 for mobile readers) For now, it looks like Mike will have to sit on the sidelines as Logan simmers down from a gift that has split apart one of YouTube’s most explosive partnerships yet.

  • Mike Majlak reveals the “real reason” Logan Paul kicked him out – Dexerto

Mike Majlak reveals the “real reason” Logan Paul kicked him out imPaulsive, YouTubeYouTube star Logan Paul and bestie Mike Majlak got into a beef earlier this month, presumably over Mike’s odd choice of a birthday present — which resulted in Logan kicking his friend out of the house. Their feud began over the course of Paul’s 25th birthday, after Majlak decided to surprise him with his favorite animal — the mantis shrimp, although it wasn’t as colorful (nor as expensive) as the real deal. Admitting that he has a difficult time managing his expectations for birthdays in general, Paul gave his buddy the boot, noting the stark difference between his own gift for Majlak’s birthday and Mike’s $6 shrimp, in comparison. However, it doesn’t seem as though the poor shrimp was actually the cause for their falling out, which Majlak claimed included an explosive fight between the two in a vlog after being removed from the premises. Paul later uploaded their fight in a vlog on April 15, which proved Mike’s claims to be true, with the two getting into a shouting match after gathering for the Maverick’s birthday party. During an April 14 episode of the imPaulsive podcast, Mike clarified that their feud was part of a much bigger issue, claiming that he was upset at Logan’s reaction to his birthday gifts and that Logan had asked for space due to Mike’s subsequent response to his attitude toward his present. “The shrimp being the catalyst for our fight was a fun storyline,” Mike explained. “But it was never the real reason any of this happened. How I felt and still feel Logan responded to the gifts that day upset me to the point that I said things and acted in a way that was unsuitable and outside of my character.” “A micro problem from a micro shrimp led to a macro problem on multiple levels,” Logan continued. (Topic begins at 9:00 for mobile viewers) However, it seems that things are back to normal between the two bros, with Logan noting that Mike’s intentions were good and that they had officially settled their short-lived beef. Majlak then claimed that he would continue to work on his attitude in regards to the matter, and has since returned to both the podcast and the Maverick home after being cooped up with his amore for the past week.

Majlak is more than a co-host for the imPaulsive podcast; having founded his own YouTube series “The Night Shift,” he’s become an online entertainer in his own right, later becoming part of Logan Paul’s crew of social media celebrities. However, his road to internet stardom wasn’t laid out for him from a young age. Majlak explained that he became addicted to drugs in 2010, and reached “rock bottom” when offered illegal substances as a kid in the suburbs. https://www.instagram.com/p/B_0a_lNBrLY/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link “My rock bottom, my true rock bottom, was in 2010,” he began. “I started a new drug because I was offered it in my lowest, non-thinking point in my life. “Crazy! Think about what I’m saying to you now, bro. I was just a regular, white Connecticut kid.” Citing the ensuing months as the “worst year of my life,” Majlak also revealed that his addiction coincided with his grandfather’s struggle with Parkinson’s and Dementia — making for a perfect storm of tough times for both himself and his mother. https://www.instagram.com/p/B_A6xHQhTBI/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link His mother asked him to watch over his grandfather — a task that led to a heartbreaking moment during the worst period in Majlak’s addiction. “There was a day when my grandfather was in his recliner,” the star recalled. “He was downstairs, and he was just screaming, ‘Help me, help me!’ He was stuck in the chair and he couldn’t get up. …I was in the attic, smoking. I was paranoid. And I couldn’t help my grandfather.” The tearful confession comes as part of a hopeful story for others in similar situations, with the YouTuber reminding readers that his book opens with a message to “those who struggle.” (Topic begins at 26:30 for mobile readers) Now a successful entertainer with over one million subscribers to his name, Majlak has overcome his demons and is spreading his own story in the hopes that those in need of encouragement will find the strength to carry on.

  • Mike Majlak reveals if he’s the father of ex-girlfriend Lana’s baby – Dexerto

Mike Majlak reveals if he’s the father of ex-girlfriend Lana’s baby Instagram: lanarhoades / YouTube: IMPAULSIVEThe internet was left shell-shocked after Lana, ex-girlfriend of YouTuber and podcast co-host Mike Majlak, announced her pregnancy, with many wondering if Mike was the father of the baby. Mike and Lana’s relationship was an unexpected and tumultuous one. The two first got together in early 2020, after Logan Paul gave her as a “gift” of sorts to Mike for his birthday. The two stars became an official couple shortly thereafter, but broke things off in February 2021 after going off-and-on for some time. However, on June 2, Lana announced that she was eight weeks pregnant, leaving the entire internet with a single, burning question: Was Mike the father? View this post on Instagram The two hadn’t been dating for a few months, and even seemed to have a strained relationship, with Lana denying that she even talks to her ex-boyfriend after Mike claimed they talked “every hour.” Things amped up when Majlak tweeted his reaction to the news, writing in a now-deleted post, “Does anyone have a contact at the Maury show? No big deal.” A day later, Majlak revealed if he really was the father of Lana’s baby or not — and it looks like his joke appearance on the Maury Show won’t actually be happening, after all. During a June 3 episode of the imPaulsive podcast, Logan badgered his friend to see if he was really the father of Lana’s baby, to which Mike answered with a highly-anticipated… “No.” “Roughly a few months ago, me and the absolutely stunning, sweet, beautiful, great, pregnant [Lana] split up,” he explained. “During that time, I started to see other people. She also started to see someone specifically during that time. We remained friends, we continued talking. The result of her interactions with said new person resulted in a bun in the oven.” (Topic begins at 3:00) Majlak claims that Lana is “ecstatic” about her new baby, revealing that his ex-girlfriend had been through a miscarriage in a previous relationship and “the only thing she has ever wanted has been a kid.” While the entire group is happy for Lana, it seems that Logan Paul was a tad disappointed about the news, claiming he’d wanted to be “uncle Logan.” For now, it looks like Mike and Lana won’t be on the Maury Show — even though that would have made for a truly internet-breaking episode.

  • Mike Majlak responds to rumors that relationship with Lana is back on – Dexerto

Mike Majlak responds to rumors that relationship with Lana is back on YouTube: Mike Majlak VlogsMike Majlak has responded to rumors suggesting that he’s back with former adult star and ex-girlfriend Lana, more than two years after they officially announced their split. Mike and Lana had a whirlwind relationship before they finally called it quits in February 2021. A couple of months later, Lana opened up on the split, saying that Mike had foiled plans for them to move in together twice, after which she finally decided she had had enough and put an end to their relationship. Since then, they’ve become friends again and Lana is a regular feature in his YouTube videos once more, including in his most recent upload on March 26 where the two take her one-year-old child for a day out and are getting along incredibly well. While there was nothing specifically said in the video itself, Mike himself took to the comments to clear the air and settle a few things about himself, Lana, and their relationship. Reeling off some answers to common questions, the first thing he spoke about was their relationship status. “We’re not getting back together, but she’s my homie for life and I’ll always check in on her and little man,” he said. He then went on to joke that he was “still clickbaiting Lana for views but also it’s great content so shut up.” Viewers have frequently suggested that the two could be rekindling the old flame, especially when she appears in his videos, but Mike has once again put rest to any rumors for now, though many will likely choose not to believe him. That’s not to completely rule out any chance of them getting back together in the future but, for now, they seem content to just be friends.

Mike Majlak reveals heartbreaking reason behind break from making content YouTube: Mike Majlak VlogsImpaulsive co-host Mike Majlak has bared his soul on his social media, explaining why he has been absent and that he has found himself “in a very dark place” Mike has found himself involved in some high-profile drama in recent weeks. Not only did he and his ex-girlfriend Lana go through a shock breakup, but he also had a very public clash with Logan Paul. After a recent podcast discussing Harry Styles and his decision to wear a dress, an argument between the two went beyond Impaulsive itself. The duo lashed out at one another across social media following Majlak’s comments on a recent episode of Mom’s Basement. Logan accused Mike of lying, and acting differently depending on who was in the room. Mike then apologized and admitted he was wrong, but it appears he’s faced much more than an attack on his character. On March 26, Mike revealed in a long post on Twitter that he had been really struggling after falling ill and then mourning the death of a close friend. “The past week has been one of the harder weeks of my life,” he began. “Three days ago, I lost one of my closest hometown friends suddenly in a motorcycle accident… no chance to say goodbye or I love you. Just one of the best people I have ever known, gone. Calls with desperate friends and family, and enough tears to drown myself. He explained that this, and a combination of other things in his life led to his current state of mind: “To make matters worse I’ve been forced to grieve alone in my bed as I had just been diagnosed with covid days before the accident. This combined with several other smaller personal issues that continue to linger or arise new, has sent me into a very dark place. “For the past week. I’ve isolated completely alone, thinking extremely negative and dangerous thoughts, unable to work out, ride my bike, make content or see friends, all of the coping mechanisms that have kept me in the game out of this dark place have been stripped from me.” Read More: How does Dream make money? – He then went on to say that rather than asking for sympathy, he simply wanted to give others advice for if they find themselves in a similar place, before giving examples of things the personally helped him. Despite this, Mike remained positive, adding, “I feel myself turning a corner today and will begin testing in the next couple days so I can get out of this room and find some serenity in the things that have always provided it to me, and also get back to making content that either inspires, entertains or infuriates, depending on who you ask.” Of course many responded with love and support including FaZe Banks who replied “Been a tough one. Peaks and valleys my brother. You’ll pull through. Love you and I always got you,” While, Twitch streamer LG Melts responded “So sorry for your loss Mike, I hope you start feeling better soon. Mike Majlak responds after ex-girlfriend Lana shares pregnancy announcement Instagram: @lanarhoades / YouTube: Mike Majlak VlogsYouTuber and ‘imPaulsive’ podcast host Mike Majlak might be showing up on an episode of Maury after ex-girlfriend Lana announced her pregnancy to the internet. Mike Majlak and Lana have had quite the tumultuous relationship. The two initially got together in early 2020, after YouTube star Logan Paul “gifted” her to Mike for his birthday. It seemed like the gift went off without a hitch, as the two began officially dating shortly thereafter. This romance wasn’t meant to be, though, with the two breaking up and getting back together a couple of times before finally calling it quits in February 2021. Aside from this, it looks like she is choosing to keep the rest of her pregnancy private and off social media — although there’s no telling if drama regarding Mike will surface online. Mike and Lana have had a rough relationship after their official split; Lana notably posted a list of ‘pros and cons’ about herself that she’d been sent by Mike post-breakup, and shut down any rumors they were secretly dating after he claimed they were still in touch and talked to each other “every hour.” For now, it looks like onlookers will have to wait and see if an episode of Maury really is in the works for one of the net’s most volatile ex-couples — although we’re super psyched for Lana, either way!

Mike Majlak’s mom breaks down in tears as he shocks her with dream car YouTube: Mike Majlak[jwplayer h3XPfMqQ]Popular YouTube personality and now best-selling author Mike Majlak left his Mom in tears after surprising her with her dream car. Majlak’s life and career has been nothing short of a whirlwind. As a drug addict in his teenage years, it’s a little absurd to see how far he’s come in the past few years, having joined forces with Logan Paul to become a huge personality in his own right. There are likely very few people as proud of his accomplishments, though, as his mother, and you can see it when he surprises her in the latest episode of his vlog series, The Night Shift. While the global health crisis is still ongoing, many families have been unable to see each other, and Majlak had not seen his mom for 6 months prior to the vlog. When he showed up and surprised her, she was clearly already emotional and delighted at being able to see Mike, but what came next really got the tears flowing. While hugging his Mom, Mike turned the vlog camera to the Audi SUV parked behind them, and the realization slowly dawns on her face as the tears start again. “That’s your new car,” he tells her, handing her the keys. “I’m tired of you driving around in that 2006. You don’t have to drive that car anymore.” Timestamp at 6:39 After showing her around the car, including learning about the reverse parking camera and Bluetooth technology, Mike joked about it being “certified pre-owned” which his Mom seemed delighted with, saying that she “taught him well.” The surprise gift was clearly a huge success, and Mike clearly wasn’t the only Impaulsive host feeling generous, as Logan Paul also gave away $10,000 to a fan that was a little down on his luck.

Mike Majlak actually makes money after hacker robbed him to buy bitcoin YouTube: IMPAULSIVEYouTuber Mike Majlak ended up actually making money after one of his financial accounts was hacked by someone who bought $3k worth of bitcoin. Mike Majlak is known as a YouTube vlogger where he uploads behind-the-scenes content from his life and shares it with over 2.5 million subscribers on the platform. He’s also the right-hand man of fellow content creator Logan Paul on the ImPaulsive podcast, where they meet various different guests and share some of the crazy stories from their lives. In their milestone 300th episode, Mike shared a story about the time one of his financial accounts was hacked, which ended up having a surprisingly positive outcome. “A very nice hacker hacked into one of my financial accounts a couple months ago,” he began. “I don’t want to say the name of the company but it’s a money sharing application where you can send money to people who, you know, cut your hair or whatever. I was having trouble signing in and I realized that my account had been hacked, and the account was connected to a way to use money.” He explained that he didn’t have access to the account for around four months, though eventually regained entry by showing his ID and verifying his identity. “When I signed back in I realized that the person had actually in June of this year bought $3000 worth of bitcoin using my money,” Mike explained. “$3000 was stolen from me to buy bitcoin. And while most people would say that’s f**ked up, the good thing about said financial sharing app is you have to prove your identity to then sell bitcoin.” Topic starts at 22:34 Mike went on to say that when he signed back into the account he saw that the bitcoin was now worth $5000, adding: “It was one of the best investments I’ve ever had and it was done by someone else with my money.” It’s certainly not common for someone to actually make money after they’ve had it stolen from them, but Mike got the last laugh this time.

  • Mike Majlak finally reveals why he and Lana officially broke up – Dexerto

Mike Majlak finally reveals why he and Lana officially broke up YouTube: Logan PaulYouTube star and ‘imPaulsive’ co-host Mike Majlak has finally revealed the reason behind his seemingly permanent breakup with ex-girlfriend Lana after the two unexpectedly parted ways less than a week ago. Mike Majlak has become quite the YouTube sensation over the past few years; starting his own successful series ‘The Night Shift,’ he has also garnered a solid online following due to co-hosting Logan Paul’s ‘imPaulsive’ podcast, and often appears in the influencer’s vlogs. However, he’s also become a subject of interest for viewers across the net due to his off-again, on-again relationship with now ex-girlfriend Lana, who — funnily enough — Logan “gifted” to Majlak as a prank birthday gift in early 2020. After breaking up in late October, the two got back together again… but it seems that a romance is not in the cards for these two stars, as news broke in February 2021 that the two had officially parted ways. While Mike was adamant that he would not make a stereotypical “break up video” discussing the topic, he did open up about the breakup on a February 23 episode of ‘imPaulsive,’ explaining what exactly lead to their split (and no, it wasn’t because he “hit on” a fellow player in GTA, as many fans believed). “I’ve talked to people about it, and they always say, ‘Stick through the fights,’” he began. “But when those fights become the mainstay, when those fights become the norm for months on end, and the relationship starts to take more energy from you than it provides for your life, and you don’t see an end in sight for either person… it’s the time that you have to start thinking about calling it quits.” “I think we both kind of made a mutual decision that, listen, we’re just not able to make this work. …the thing that really ended up being the breaker was just a more normal thing, just a shared incompatibility.” (Topic begins at 15:45) Despite the differences between them, Mike wishes nothing but the best for Lana in the future, and confirmed that this would be the last time he publicly speaks about the breakup for the foreseeable future.

  • Mike Majlak hits back at Trisha Paytas over his relationship with Lana – Dexerto

Mike Majlak hits back at Trisha Paytas over his relationship with Lana YouTube: Frenemies/ImpaulsiveAfter some more controversy in the Mike Majlak and Lana camp, Mike has come out to defend himself after criticism from popular influencer Trisha Paytas. Trisha and Ethan Klein have become far more well-known throughout 2021 for their criticism and commentary on influencer culture, discussing the stories of David Dobrik’s allegations, Jeff Wittek’s life-threatening accident, and more. After Majlak and FaZe Banks appeared on the No Jumper podcast with Adam22, in which they discussed Trisha, they decided to confront the arising beef between them. Mike alleges that Trisha accused them of having sexual assault allegations made against them during their Frenemies podcast with Ethan Klein. They then tweeted about Majlak shortly after, saying: “I liked Mike before he showed his [clown face emoji] with the pros/cons list… He goes for the low blows which shows his lack of intelligence right there.” I liked Mike before he showed his 🤡 with the pros /cons list, calling the girl he cheated on Lana with a gremlin, disgusting, ugly. If he had some wit or tact he could make respected arguments — Trisha Paytas (@trishapaytas) May 19, 2021 Around an hour later, Mike responded to them, defending himself and asking for a “positive outcome” and for Trisha to actually talk to him about it. “The pros/cons list was a private note meant to facilitate a conversation around us getting back together, a conversation still happening even tonight,” he told them. “You act as if you know nothing about how confusing and sometimes unsettling the end of a relationship can be… Is it any of your business either way? F**k NO. You know absolutely nothing about our relationship.” He continued: “I took issue with you lying and saying ‘3/3 men on the show have sexual allegations’ when you know that is 1000% unbacked and has never even been claimed by anyone. Mike Majlak explains why he thinks Andrew Tate won’t fight Logan or Jake Paul YouTube: Mike Majlak VlogsYouTuber Mike Majlak has explained why he thinks Andrew Tate will never get into the boxing ring with Logan or Jake Paul after Jake asked him his thoughts on the fight in a recent BS podcast. Andrew Tate may have been banned from social media, but that doesn’t mean he’s not still the talk of the town. Over the last few weeks, he’s slammed Logan Paul for not wanting to box him and offered to fight him for free, while Jake Paul’s manager has been seen meeting with Tate — stirring up talk of a possible bout with the YouTube-famous brothers. However, YouTuber and Impaulsive co-host Mike Majlak has shared his thoughts about the fight rumors – and he’s not quite sure it’ll ever happen. Mike Majlak explains why Andrew Tate probably won’t fight Logan or Jake During Jake Paul’s September 22 episode of the BS podcast, Jake called Mike and asked if he thought Andrew Tate would ever get in the ring and fight him. “I mean, he clearly has gotten in the ring and fought in the past and done a pretty good job with it,” he explained. “But I can’t imagine he would fight you or Logan. I think a lot of the stuff he’s doing right now is to continue a storyline that I’m not sure he’s ready to back up.” Jake went on to explain that he doesn’t think Tate would ever get in the ring either, but the controversial influencer has made it clear in the past that he’s willing to “beat the living sh*t” out of Jake Paul in the ring. “I’d love to kick the f**k out of the guy because I love to fight. That’s the difference between me and everyone else he’s fought so far,” Tate explained. “I’m not some desperate guy at the end of his career who needs a payday.”

Be it bloopers or more personal video, fans crave it. As a result, when shock breakups or bad news breaks, fans want all the juicy details – even if the people involved don’t want to share it. That’s been the case with Mike Majlak and Lana after they announced a breakup that came pretty out of the blue. Fans have been digging high and low for clues about what might have happened, and as the pair have stayed pretty silent, Mike isn’t dropping a typical breakup video anytime soon. At the end of his February 22 vlog, the imPaulsive Podcast co-host joked that he’d left some signs from his The Night Shift brand at his ex-girlfriend’s house and there was no way he’d be able to go and get them – hinting at a messy split. He added that he wasn’t getting into any details and that there’s no teary video telling his side of the story coming. Even though, he and Logan might get into on a future podcast. “I’m sure we’ll talk about this on the podcast, or somewhere else,” he said. “There’s no f**king breakup video coming. I just want to keep with the high vibes and good times, so yeah.” Timestamp of 9:00 That’s not going to stop the fans who demand the ins and out of everything from demanding a video, there’s always going to be that fervent group who won’t listen. • Mike Majlak explains how TikTok is ruining his relationship with girlfriend Lana – Dexerto

Mike Majlak explains how TikTok is ruining his relationship with girlfriend Lana Instagram: heybigmikeDuring an episode of the Impaulsive podcast with Logan Paul, co-host Mike Majlak explained how TikTok is ‘ruining’ his relationship with on/off girlfriend Lana. Majlak and Lana’s relationship has had plenty of hurdles in the past, from his cheating scandal back in early 2020 to their short breakup and subsequent reunion in October and November 2020. Now, they’re back together and seemingly going as strong as ever — or so we thought. In fact, Mike says there’s one huge wedge driving a divide between himself and Lana: TikTok. While they and those around them are seeing a lot of success on the platform, Mike jokes that it might be doing more harm than good. During their filming of the Impaulsive, Mike started speaking about all the different ‘sides’ of TikTok, such as ‘Cartel TikTok’ and ‘Skiing TikTok’, but he says there’s one subgenre that’s proving to be a bit of a thorn in his side. Lana, Mike says, is obsessed with the dating and gossip side of TikTok, and it’s starting to cause some turmoil between them. He says of the videos: “These videos, they go, ‘Girls, if your boyfriend is doing this, that means…’ Bro… I am so sick of these girls!” “[Lana] will be like ‘What do you want for dinner tonight?’ and I’ll say ‘Tacos’,” he says before doing another impression of said TikTokers. “Girls, if your man wants tacos for dinner, that means he’s probably interested in Spanish women, and if you’re white, you should be worried!’” While Mike jokes about it and it definitely sounds funny, there’s clearly some level of frustration there at these women on TikTok, and it even got the group talking about how similar it is to the growth and spread of conspiracy theories. Presumably it’s not causing enough of an issue in their relationship to bring it down entirely, but Mike’s pain is clearly visible throughout — he probably wishes she just stuck to cartel TikTok, instead.

  • Mike Majlak explains why he made a big mistake with Lana break up – Dexerto

Mike Majlak explains why he made a big mistake with Lana break up Instagram: Mike MajlakMike Majlak has explained in the latest episode of his vlog series “The Night Shift” why he made a big mistake breaking up with his girlfriend Lana. At the end of October, Mike confirmed that he had broken up with Lana after rumors surfaced on the internet. He explained that it boiled down to the fact that they wanted different things in life. The decision saddened them both, but they decided it made sense in the long run and parted ways on good terms. Still, it was unexpected news that left their many fans stunned. Only a week later Lana appeared in a Twitch stream confirming that the two were back together. Mike briefly explained that he’d made a rushed decision in breaking up with her and now they’re very much looking forward to the future. On Tuesday, October 17, Mike expressed that he felt he owed a full explanation to his fans, first reflecting on the initial video announcing the split: “As you guys know I put out a video two weeks ago very succinctly explaining the breakup that I was so sure I was going through at the time. “Not too long after that video came out me and Amara [Lana’s real name] had a conversation. We talked about things, we level set our expectations and I quickly realized this was someone that I wanted to continue to be a part of my life.” He admitted he made a mistake and that the break-up announcement was premature. He continued “it was just something I was feeling at the time and I rushed, made a mistake, and it is what it is.” Mike explained that they’re working on their future together too: “long story short me and Amara are continuing to work on the relationship. There are no promises made. I don’t know what’s gonna happen over the next couple of weeks or months.” He finally added that his vlog series ended up becoming primarily content around their relationship, that it added pressure on them as a couple, and that the content would be changing as a result. “One thing is for sure you’re gonna start to see a change here in the content on the Night Shift we’re gonna get back to guest-based content and what was the original essence of the Night Shift…now it’s back to business”

  • Mike Majlak defends “internet boxer” Logan Paul over Mayweather fight – Dexerto

Mike Majlak defends “internet boxer” Logan Paul over Mayweather fight Mike Majlak / Logan Paul InstagramLogan Paul has been getting flack for being an “internet boxer” going up against the lossless Floyd Mayweather in their upcoming exhibition match, but friend and fellow YouTuber Mike Majlak thinks the Maverick is going to surprise some people. Even though Mayweather is toeing out of retirement for his bout against Paul, analysts and onlookers have been overwhelmingly favoring the 50-0-0 fighter to the 0-1 YouTuber. There’ve been a ton reactions to the exhibition game, and not many are seen as encouraging for the Maverick camp. But that’s not going to discourage Paul from training until they step into the ring together and let the gloves do the talking. And it’s specifically because of how Paul has been training that Majlak thinks the fight could be a lot more entertaining than what people are expecting. After promoting the event on his Instagram, a skeptic chimed in. They called the entire fight a “joke” and expected “Mayweather to defensively toy with an internet boxer.” That’s when Majlak got the inclination that Paul was being underestimated. “Logan takes boxing more seriously than Floyd does nowadays,” he said. “Kid spars gold gloves every morning and watches film every single night.” According to the ImPaulsive co-host, even though he’s just being labeled as an entertainer, Paul’s been showing a ton of grit in the lead up to one of the biggest headlining bouts a beginning fighter could ask for. Majlak is confident the YouTuber-turned-boxer will put on a respectable performance in the exhibition match. In defending his friends he said, “I think you’d be surprised just how capable an ‘internet boxer’ really is.” Paul is going to go toe-to-toe with one of the most dangerous men to ever step into a ring. With only one official match in his history, Paul, 25, will have his youth and more prep time than Mayweather – seeing as he’s been looking forward to this match for a while. Mayweather, 50, of course, will need no qualifiers to his boxing prowess. Though he was comfortable in retirement, the perfect-record fighter will have a wealth of experience to draw from. Fanmio Boxing will hold the exhibition between Paul and Mayweather on February 20, 2021.

  • Mike Majlak denies getting “fired” by Logan Paul – Dexerto

Mike Majlak denies getting “fired” by Logan Paul Impaulsive/YouTubeImpaulsive co-host Mike Majlak has denied that his extended hiatus from the show is due to being fired from the podcast by Logan Paul in newly revealed text messages. It’s been a while since fans of the Impaulsive podcast have seen and heard Mike Majlak on the broadcast, and some rumors and jokes are saying it’s because he’s been “fired” due to some recent beef with Logan. Other than saying he “hadn’t invited” the influencer to Puerto Rico with him, the elder Paul brother didn’t specifically say he had “fired” him either – and now, Majlak has claimed in a newly revealed exchange with Keemstar he can’t be fired from the show, and the hype is all overblown. In a new episode of Drama Alert on May 11, host Keemstar said he had contacted Majlak over the rumors and talked to him “for like an hour.” “I can’t get fired, I’m a partner lol,” Majlak told Keem, in regards to the Impaulsive podcast. “Logan is focused on the biggest fight of his life and imPaulsive is on hiatus.” This does make a lot of sense, if you think about it; Paul is currently in Puerto Rico gearing up for what’s definitely the biggest fight of his career so far, coming up against Floyd Mayweather on June 6. It’s not unbelievable, then, that Majlak wouldn’t want to move hundreds of miles along with Logan from LA to the Caribbean, and that his portion of the show, at least, will be on hold until sometime after the matchup. Video starts at 10:15 for mobile viewers That’s not to say Logan and Mike might not actually have beef, especially considering the barbs Paul has already thrown out. However, the two have been partners in crime for years and it all could just be banter before an eventual reunion. Whatever happens, it’s probably a safe bet that we won’t be seeing much of Majlak (on Impaulsive, at least) until sometime after the June 6 Paul vs. Mayweather fight.

Logan Paul and KSI are known for more than their YouTube content, having risen to fame in the mainstream due to their viral boxing rivalry, which brought in 1.2 million concurrent viewers through pirated Twitch streams alone in August 2018. The two finally settled their beef in 2019 after KSI emerged the victor of their subsequent grudge match — but in spite of their storied feud, it seems that the two might be working together in the near future. Mike Majlak, creator of ‘The Night Shift’ and co-host of Logan Paul’s ‘imPaulsive’ podcast, opened up on the subject during an April 29 interview with Hollywood Life’s Ali Stagnitta, where he appeared to confirm that the two YouTubers will be repairing their grudge with collaborative projects. Majlak explained that he is working toward building bridges with KSI and the Sidemen to better their business relationship, citing longevity as the main reason why he’s pushing for the rivals to come together. “I think Logan has started to come around to the fact that… relationship-building is a very important part to building successful businesses and longevity,” he began. “…he understands the power of beef, as well, but I assure you that longevity is built upon alliances. It’s a strategic move. I will make that happen. KSI and Logan Paul will have collaborative content.” https://www.instagram.com/p/B4n6QO0pW7-/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link That’s not all: Mike even claimed that KSI is open to such collaboration and gave fans a potential timeline for their project, stating it should come to fruition in around six months. “He’s open to it,” he continued. “I bet KSI’s open to it. KSI has actually said that he’s open to it, and it will happen. It will happen. I would say within the next six months.” (Timestamp: 26:33 for mobile readers) Although the exact details of the KSI/Logan Paul collaboration have yet to be revealed, this news marks a sharp development from their past as bitter rivals and Jake Paul’s own itch to fight the British YouTube star.

Mike Majlak confirms he’s back together with Lana after just one week Mike MajlakIn his first-ever Twitch stream, Mike Majlak’s had an unexpected guest when Lana rocked up with some lunch, and he confirmed the two of them are back together. [jwplayer A9iT5QAh] Last week, Mike Majlak confirmed that he had broken up with Lana after rumors surfaced on the internet. He explained that it boiled down to the fact that they wanted different things in life. The decision saddened them both, but they decided it made sense in the long run and parted ways on good terms. Still, it was unexpected news that left their many fans stunned. They’ve been trying not to talk and keeping their distance. However, it seems like they couldn’t stay away from each other and have already re-kindled. To the surprise of all the viewers on Twitch, Lana walked in through the front door carrying some lunch. The two of them had a brief chat before she sat down on his lap, and he placed his arms around her. Mike had already died in his current Among Us game, so he decided it was a good time to open up about the situation. “I got a little guest here today that I wanted to bring on for a second,” he said. We’re not gonna get too into sh*t today. But she wanted to stop by and say what’s up.” “I just wanted to bring you some food because I didn’t want you to starve,” said Lana. Mike was clearly grateful, and the way they were interacting suggested the two of them were back together. Mike spent the next minute proudly showing her his computer and streaming equipment. However, it reminded him to tell one of his Twitch moderators to “add the Lana emote back” because she was going to be “back in his life.” “I didn’t go anywhere!” said Lana, which prompted Mike to stop chugging on his drink and elaborate in more detail. “Boys make really, like, sudden decisions sometimes,” he said. “I rushed on some sh*t and… I suck. I suck,” he said. “I don’t know how else to put. I suck as a person, but here we are. We’re back… and it’s hard to explain that on a f**king stream.” Meanwhile, Lana seemed interested in Among Us. Mike Majlak broke it down and explained the concept, and she looked intrigued. Hopefully, in his next stream, the two of them will be on together. Either way, their fans will be thrilled to know the much-loved couple is back together. The break-up did kind of happen out of the blue, but it seems like they’ve worked things out and look stronger than ever.

Logan Paul vs Floyd Mayweather boxing match confirmed Wikimedia Commons / Instagram: Logan Paul[jwplayer mgzBNoPb] UPDATE 9/16/2020 2:19 PM PST: It has been confirmed that YouTube star Logan Paul will officially face off with former pro boxer and current boxing promoter Floyd Mayweather in an exhibition match, as broken by American sports analyst Pat McAfee via Twitter. Thus far, reports have slated the bout for Winter 2020, although a specific date and other details have yet to be determined. A contract has been signed and the fight is happening@FloydMayweather vs @LoganPaul #PatMcAfeeShowLIVE pic.twitter.com/b3MwBzW0fR — Pat McAfee (@PatMcAfeeShow) September 16, 2020 Original story below: YouTuber Logan Paul is more than an online influencer; the social media star has also taken his talents to the boxing ring, and as speculation regarding his next fight amps up, ‘imPaulsive’ co-host Mike Majlak is teasing a huge announcement. Logan Paul first went pro for his second fight with rival YouTuber KSI in November, throwing down in the Los Angeles Staples Center on an all-professional undercard that signaled a potentially bright future in boxing for both competitors. However, considering the current state of world affairs, many fights have been postponed — including the upcoming Mike Tyson vs Roy Jones Jr. bout, the undercard of which Jake Paul is also set to fight on. Big brother Logan’s own boxing career has seemed rather empty in comparison, with the star not discussing his own training regimen and seeming to focus on his podcast instead; but this may be changing in the near future. https://www.instagram.com/p/CFMbgrhhKKe/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link After challenging other YouTubers to a potential wrestling match, some outlets have reported that he may be taking on the likes of Floyd Mayweather and Josh Bruenecker, although these claims have yet to be proven true. Considering all the speculation going around, Mike Majlak addressed the issue during a September 15 episode of the ‘imPaulsive’ podcast — and his words are further fueling rumors of a massive bout in Logan Paul’s future. “The people watching this episode… if any of those people knew what I know, right now, and what you know, what Mac knows about what’s really going on, the internet would f**king melt,” Majlak claimed. “You have no f**king clue.” (Topic begins at 1:53) Even Logan Paul seemed to tease at something big coming up, saying of his indefinitely-postponed wrestling match: “Have you guys considered that there might be something more important on the horizon than, uh, wrestling a Dolan Twin?” Paul also confirmed that he and Bruenecker aren’t in talks to fight, claiming that his proposed opponent had texted him asking, “Do you know something I don’t?” For now, it seems that Logan and co. are keeping his next match under lock and key — but we’ll judge whether it is “melt-worthy” for ourselves when the time comes.

  • Mike Majlak and girlfriend Lana break up in shock announcement – Dexerto

Mike Majlak and girlfriend Lana break up in shock announcement Instagram: heybigmike / Instagram: lanarhoadesMike Majlak and Lana have been the sweethearts of the internet world for quite some time, but their relationship is officially over, with Lana breaking the news on Instagram. [jwplayer smynPnSq] Lana and Mike have had a rocky last few months. They briefly broke up in October 2020 and Mike explained in a YouTube video that it boiled down to the fact that they wanted different things in life. The decision saddened them both, but they decided it made sense in the long run and parted ways on good terms. Still, it was unexpected news that left their many fans stunned. Only a week later Lana appeared in a Twitch stream confirming that the two were back together. Mike briefly explained that he’d made a rushed decision in breaking up with her and that they were very much looking forward to the future. Lana continued to appear in Mike’s The Night Shift vlogs and only in the last few days, the pair even hinted that they wanted to move to Miami together. However, in an Instagram story on Thursday, February 18 Lana posted a selfie with the caption, “The reason Mike is not on my Instagram is because we are not together, I am single. We are broken up and not getting back together this time. Now leave me alone about it.” Sure enough, both Lana and Mike have deleted photos of each other from both of their Instagram feeds, unfollowed each other and Lana has removed Mike from her highlights reel on her profile. On Valentines Day, Lana even posted a gallery with the caption “Valentine’s Day Adventures” with Mike nowhere to be seen. According to the most recent episode of Impaulsive, Lana was unhappy after Mike hit on a woman while playing GTA and “broke the fourth wall” by asking for her real-life Instagram. In the episode, Mike describes how Lana blew up his phone telling him that it wasn’t okay. To appease her, Mike said that he shot the player he hit on in the game and then died, respawning later on. He claimed this wasn’t enough for Lana, although it is unclear if this is the actual reason behind the breakup. It looks like this time it really is over for good, and Mike is likely to come clean about the real reason behind the breakup in a future video on his YouTube channel.

Mike Majlak accused of lying about childhood and paying hush money to friends YouTube: Mike Majlak VlogsMike Majlak may have lied in his biographical book “The Fifth Vital,” and even paid his friends to keep the truth quiet, according to YouTuber SALVOPANCAKES. Mike Majlak is widely known as Logan Paul’s right-hand man and co-host on Impaulsive, and he has reached extraordinary heights of online fame. But it hasn’t come without controversy or drama. In recent months, Mike has broken up, gotten back together, and split once again with long-time girlfriend Lana, and he has even fallen out with Logan Paul himself. Even before he was famous, Mike suffered from struggles with drug addiction, according to his book “The Fifth Vital,” published in 2020, which offers advice on how to break out of a bad place. However, Mike has been accused of fabricating some of the anecdotes in the book, “stealing” some of the stories from his close friends. YouTuber SALVOPANCAKES, published a video on May 24 providing alleged screenshots from Mike’s friend Matthew Duchon appearing to say that all of the stories were taken from his experience and not Mike’s. Since the video was published, Matthew responded on Twitter, saying that the screenshots in the video were fake and photoshopped by the YouTuber, adding “Mike has sent me thousands of dollars and is always there for me.” I am Matt Duchon and this story is completely fabricated. This is photoshopped and I never had a conversation with this guy. Mike has sent me thousands of dollars and is always there for me. I can’t believe this is actually happening. I want to make this clear, Fake story!!!! — matthew Duchon (@MatthewDuchon) May 25, 2021 Meanwhile, SALVOPANCAKES released another video that now claims Mike has paid the friends in question hush money and even has them under a non-disclosure agreement to stop the truth from coming out. The YouTuber shared another screenshot, allegedly from Matthew Duchon, which read “Dude I shouldn’t have sent that. Please delete this stuff! I was mad he wasn’t going to donate to my Dream on foundation. Look man, he made me, Kenny, and Alexandra sign NDAs on this sh*t and I can’t afford to go to jail over this internet sh*t.” He then explained that on May 26, Mike wrote on Twitter that in order to get over some of his current issues he had to “move chess pieces.” On the same day, Matthew’s fundraiser Dream on Foundation, received $400 from “Hash Brown Media LLC,” a company that appears to belong to Mike. SALVOPANCAKES said that this meant Mike was attempting to pay Matthew to keep quiet on the allegations. Mike has not publicly responded to these allegations, but it may only be a matter of time before he does.

The internet thought her wedding was sponsored by the cosmetics brand Mikayla caught plenty of flak for not revealing if it was or not. However, a month after her wedding, the influencer finally decided to address all the speculation and posted a series of videos on August 1. Mikayla Nogueira discusses the drama around her wedding Mikayla said she woke up to a flood of messages on social media right after her wedding as she was being called out. She explained: “I haven’t seen a single video about my wedding, or any news, or anything, but I have been told what has been said. So, I’m going to answer some of these questions… The biggest question: ‘Was my wedding sponsored?’ No, my wedding wasn’t sponsored, none of it.” The content creator discussed her wedding planner creating a kissing booth with the e.l.f. products, as they were being distributed to the guests as favors. Mikayla clearly stated that her nuptials weren’t sponsored by elf or any other brand but her response did not go down well with the internet. She was criticized for it as social media users took to the comments section of a YouTube channel, Tea Spill that addressed her response to the backlash. One commenter said: “It’s so weird. It’s like watching a child who can’t stop lying, go on with their delusion even though nothing they say makes any sense.” The makeup mogul stated she only worked with them for the lipsticks. “I don’t think you understand how much it means to me that I got to work with e.l.f., so, of course, I wanted to include them in my big day,” she added. Ten percent of that was influencers. The only reason why it seemed like it was all influencers was because the only people posting on TikTok are influencers. And if you’re wondering about the friend that I chose not to invite, they’re not my friend, and I’m sure you can see why.” There have been no further updates on the situation.

Mikaela Testa slammed for “messed up” Veruca Salt text weeks after baby’s death Instagram: mikaelatesta / Instagram: verucasalt444Mikaela Testa is being slammed online after sending a “messed up” text about Veruca Salt less than one month after the influencer’s baby died. Australian TikTok star Veruca Salt shared on February 5 that her six-week-old son, Cash had “died in his sleep” with no cause of death yet confirmed. Following her son’s death, Veruca moved in with fellow influencers Katie and Lauren Hamden for support. However, it seems the twins’ help has ruffled the feathers of another popular TikTok and OnlyFans creator — Mikaela Testa. Taking to her Instagram story, Veruca shared the “evil” text the Hamdens had received from Mikaela, leaving viewers appalled by the “messed up” and “sick” message. Screenshots of the story obtained by Instagram drama account ‘TheTeaTalk‘ showed a photo of Katie’s text messages revealing Mikaela had allegedly said, “One more thing, you guys are literally the worst most horrible most negative most foul people to be around and [Veruca] shouldn’t even be living with you guys ’cause she’s probably going to kill herself after a day of listening to Lauren’s bullsh**.” While much of Katie’s response had been scribbled out in the photo, one part remained, reading as follows; “I don’t think saying Veruca will kill herself because of Lauren’s ‘negativity’ is right to say after her baby just died.” And both Veruca and viewers online evidently agreed, with the TikTok star defending the twins on her Instagram story against Mikaela’s insults. Veruca wrote, “It’s [really] bothering me that [Mikaela] has anything negative to say about the twins when they are helping me out of the goodness of their hearts and she’s using me and acting like she’s my friend to do it.” “I just think it’s f***** to talk to me and about me like that when it hasn’t even been a month since my baby died. Like can I just breathe f****** hell,” Veruca continued, adding that Mikaela had sent her voice messages warning against the twins. “It’s frustrating that I feel dragged into a situation like this when I’m dealing with enough.” Viewers didn’t hold back when slamming Mikaela for her “evil” messages in the comment section of TheTeaTalk’s post, labeling the influencer as “sick.” One said, “Mikaela has no redeeming qualities. She’s just a shitty person who needs to be de-platformed. Can not believe she still has supporters.” “This is disgusting [behavior] and she’s too grown to act this way,” another said. “She’s upset her ex-friends are supporting a woman going through grief…check yourself babe.”

  • Middle school takes down bathroom mirrors to combat TikTok use – Dexerto

Middle school takes down bathroom mirrors to combat TikTok use Nik, Buchen WANG/UnsplashA middle school in North Carolina has had mirrors removed from the school bathrooms after students would spend too much time recording TikTok videos in the bathrooms. As social media has become a daily part of most people’s everyday lives, it has come to affect society too. From creating thousands of new jobs and career opportunities, to being accused of “poisoning” youths, the ways it’s affected our everyday lives are endless. These changes have also been made clear in schools across the world, as the younger generations are growing up with different social media accounts. But some schools are claiming that students are taking it too far. Middle school students at the Alamance-Burlington School System in North Carolina have now had their mirror privileges revoked after staff members argued students spent too much time in the school bathrooms filming TikTok videos. Middle school removes bathroom mirrors to prevent TikTok use “Students were going to the bathroom for long periods of time and making TikTok videos,” Les Atkins, the public relations officer for the school system, told WFMY. Students were allegedly going to the bathroom up to 7 to 8 times a day to film content for their social media accounts. This has now resulted in the school having to take action by removing the mirrors in the bathrooms. And it seems to have worked. “Not as many visits to the bathroom, not staying as long and students are held accountable and then when there’s accountability you see a great difference,” Atkins said. The school district has also implemented a digital hall pass system that will allow students to check in and out of class, which lets teachers and staff document just how much time each student is spending outside of the classroom. “We’re trying to educate students: we all have cell phones now. We have to learn to use them. We have to learn when to put them down,” Atkins said. Atkins also argued it was a safety precaution as they would always know where each of the students was at every moment of the day. Parents had mixed responses to the news, with some praising the school for what they’d done. However, some didn’t think removing the mirrors was the right solution, and that instead, students should not be allowed to bring their phones to school. Some even went as far as to say that the students should not have their own phones at all.

  • Midnight Society announces blockchain-based trading system with Polygon Studios – Dexerto

Midnight Society announces blockchain-based trading system with Polygon Studios Midnight Society/Polygon StudiosDr Disrespect’s game studio, Midnight Society, has announced that they are working with Polygon Studios to create a game publishing platform that allows players to trade in-game items on the blockchain. In March, Midnight Society announced applications for Project Moon’s Founders Pass. The item, an NFT that gives owners exclusive access to early game builds among other features, is based on the Polygon blockchain. After closing the applications, the studio learned that 97.5% of gamers who applied for the Founders Pass desired the option to own in-game items outright and believed they should be able to collect, upgrade, sell, and trade the items they own in-game. Midnight Society and Polygon Studios have partnered up together to create a blockchain-based game publishing platform that allows gamers to do just that. Midnight Society partners with Polygon Studios According to Midnight Society, current restrictions on web2 games are making it impossible for gamers to hold the level of ownership on an item that they wish to have. Web3 gaming offers a safe, transparent, and uncensorable solution to this problem. Midnight Society Co-founder and Studio Head Robert Bowling said: “We see blockchain technology as a launchpad for so many new ways fans can interact with their favorite games, communities, and most importantly the pivotal parts of the development of those titles. The community has spoken, and we’ve listened. “With any new technology, there are weaknesses, and what we loved about Polygon was their ability to address every concern we had while also having an eye toward where this technology could go in the future to support our grand ambition.” Ryan Wyatt, CEO of Polygon Studios, commented: “We’re thrilled to be working with Midnight Society as they expand the realms of possibilities in gaming. Blockchain-based games are quickly becoming the biggest focus of the gaming industry. “Project Moon is entering the space by providing an off-chain and on-chain experience, allowing gamers to have the best of both worlds. They can own, monetize, and transfer digital assets in-game through the opt-in NFT experience, without it being an obligation.” Midnight Society has opted to build its web3-based projects on the Polygon blockchain because of its low transaction fees, scalability, and environmental viability. Read More: Midnight Society assures fans Project Moon game isn’t about “making money” amid NFT fears – With environmental impact being the biggest issue many find with blockchain use, Polygon stands outside of the pack as they have already achieved carbon-neutral status, meaning any transaction, application, or NFT created on the Polygon blockchain incurs no carbon output. They have also pledged to attain carbon-negative status by the end of 2022, meaning it will be removing more carbon from the atmosphere than it puts in. • Microsoft employees lose free Xbox Game Pass Ultimate after price increase – Dexerto

Microsoft employees lose free Xbox Game Pass Ultimate after price increase MicrosoftMicrosoft employees are reportedly not happy after the company revealed certain benefits will no longer be available only months after a price hike. Employee benefits typically offer a different form of compensation in addition to salary, helping businesses stay competitive when hiring and keeping employees healthy, happy, and motivated. There are a range of different benefits people may expect to see throughout their working careers. For Microsoft employees hired on a permanent basis, free access to the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate was one enticing bonus. That, however, is reportedly all about to change with news coming just months after Game Pass had its first-ever price increase. Sources told The Verge that “most” of Microsoft’s 238,000 employees would have Game Pass removed from their benefits, news that allegedly has not gone down well at the company. Xbox employees will seemingly continue to have free access to the pass, while a discounted 12-month subscription will be available for purchase at the company’s internal store for all other employees. These new changes are supposedly expected to roll out in January 2024. Employees found out this week after Microsoft raised the price of the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate from $14.99 per month to $16.99 earlier this year. Readers were seemingly unimpressed with Microsoft’s latest change to its benefits scheme, taking to The Verge’s comments to share their thoughts. “Companies love to find new ways to increase profit,” one person wrote. “Most evil of which is to profit off your own employees.” Another said, “What a weird decision, let’s piss off a bunch of employees for the equivalent of a rounding error in savings.” Be sure to check out all the latest gaming news on our page here.

  • Microsoft reportedly vying to buy TikTok amid security concerns – Dexerto

Microsoft reportedly vying to buy TikTok amid security concerns Freepik.com / TikTok/ Microsoft[jwplayer ksH6zuKH]As concerns around TikTok’s security rise, Microsoft has joined the fray with hopes to purchase the company after reports of a presidential plan to force the app’s parent company, ByteDance, to sell off its U.S. based operations came to light. While it might be the most popular app among Gen Z’ers, TikTok has come under intense scrutiny as of late, with India banning it outright and countries like Australia and America toying with the idea of doing the same. Some of the app’s top stars have likewise taken their leave in favor of rival program Triller, including the likes of Josh Richards, Griffin Johnson, and more, while names like streamer ‘Ninja’ have publicly decried TikTok for potential security threats (even deleting it from his phone, altogether). Now, it appears that a presidential order could force TikTok’s parent company, ByteDance, to sell off its U.S. stock— and Microsoft could be poised to pounce on the social media giant. I have deleted the TIK TOK app off all my devices. Hopefully a less intrusive company (data farming) that isn’t owned by China can recreate the concept legally, such funny and amazing content on the app from influencers. — Ninja (@Ninja) July 9, 2020 As initially reported by Fox News’ Charles Gasparino, it seems that Microsoft has entered talks to procure the U.S. portions of TikTok, although the company has yet to confirm these reports at the time of writing. It’s also unclear whether the President has the power to force a foreign company to sell its U.S. stock, although reports of the order follow his statement considering a ban of the app days prior. For now, TikTok’s future in the U.S. is unclear, although a spokesperson for the company has expressed hope for its continued performance. CONFIRMED; sources say @Microsoft in talks to buy https://t.co/1q4Y8HRbjG — Charles Gasparino (@CGasparino) July 31, 2020 “While we do not comment on rumors or speculation, we are confident in the long-term success of TikTok,” a representative said in a statement to Business Insider. When asked what they would do if TikTok were to be banned, creators like Charli D’Amelio — the app’s most-followed user — and Addison Rae expressed mild concern over the matter, with Rae claiming she might move to YouTube while D’Amelio will just “keep on dancing.” Much like Vine before it, users are worried that its top creators could be forced to find success elsewhere. For now, they — along with everyone else — will have to wait and see.

Michigan State student Jackie Matthews speaks out after surviving her second mass shooting TIKTOK: jmattttt / WIKIMEDIA: GuettardaStudent Jackie Matthews, who goes by jmattttt on TikTok, went viral on the platform after she spoke out about surviving the 2012 Sandy Hook massacre, after also surviving the Michigan State shooting. On February 13, a gunman shot and killed three MSU students at Michigan State, and left five critically injured. Matthews, a Michigan State University senior who was on campus during Monday’s deadly shooting, revealed that she’s also a survivor of the Sandy Hook massacre. “I am 21 years old, and this is the second mass shooting that I have now lived through,” Jackie shared in a TikTok video. “The fact that this is the second mass shooting that I have now lived through is incomprehensible.” In the since-deleted clip, she relived the Sandy Hook school shooting, which occurred back in 2012. Jackie said she had crouched for so long in her classroom, that she now has a “full-blown PTSD fracture” that flares up anytime she’s in a stressful situation. The horrific incident in Newtown, Connecticut, left 26 people dead; 20 children and six adults. Michigan State student calls for action to curb school shootings Jackie is now calling for action beyond love and prayers. “My heart goes out to all the families and the friends of the Michigan State shooting. But we can no longer just provide love and prayers,” she said. “It needs to be legislation, it needs to be action. It’s not okay. We can no longer allow this to happen. We can no longer be complacent. I’ll forever be Sandy Hook Strong. I’ll forever be Spartan Strong.” The student’s video was reposted on Twitter, amassing over 9.4 million views, and drawing thousands of supportive replies and retweets. The 43-year-old suspect was found off campus early Tuesday before he could be arrested. Authorities stated he had died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

  • Michigan teacher knocked unconscious after footage shows student throw metal chair – Dexerto

Michigan teacher knocked unconscious after footage shows student throw metal chair Twitter: libsoftiktok / Unsplash: MChe LeeFootage has captured the moment a student altercation ended with a Michigan teacher being knocked unconscious by a thrown metal chair. A teacher at Southwestern Classical Academy in Flint, Michigan, was knocked out cold earlier this week on Thursday, September 28. The incident took place after a student altercation ended with a metal chair being hurled across the classroom. The chair hit the teacher in the head, causing her to fall to the ground unconscious, with footage showing the moments leading up to the throw. In the footage, students in the classroom can be seen in the midst of an argument, with one particular student screaming at someone across the room from her. Seemingly attempting to defuse the situation, the teacher stood in the middle of the room trying to calm students down. But things were about to take a turn for the worse. As things escalated, the upset student picked up a chair and threw it, striking the teacher in the head. Instantly, the teacher was knocked unconscious and fell to the ground as screams erupted throughout the room. Luckily, the school’s Superintendent Kevelin Jones has since announced in a statement that the teacher is “doing well” and was even released from hospital the same day. The teacher is expected to return to work next week, though it remains unknown as to what actions have been taken against the offending student. However, many have called for legal action, with one person writing, “Assault with intent to do bodily harm. Arrest and charge as an adult.” Check out all the latest entertainment news on our page here.

  • Michael Reeves stuns LilyPichu with bizarre Minecraft contraption – Dexerto

Michael Reeves stuns LilyPichu with bizarre Minecraft contraption OfflineTV/MojangPopular YouTuber Michael Reeves left fellow OfflineTV member LilyPichu pretty terrified when he showed off his clever chicken cooking contraption in Minecraft. Seeing as Minecraft is a sandbox game, you’re only limited to what materials the game gives you and it’s physics when it comes to building something as small as an automated machine or as big as your very own city. As the years have gone on, players have gotten more and more creative with their builds – even incorporating single-player mods to build huge contraptions. Though, for Michael Reeves, who is used to making things that leave his fellow content creators stunned and puzzled, he put on a spin on a classic machine, a chicken processor. The newest OfflineTV member had been playing with LilyPichu when he devised his spin on the machine and decided to show it off to her. Though, Lily was slightly taken aback by what she was seeing. Michael explained that instead of having chickens roam free and collecting their eggs manually, he’d used hoppers, Redstone, and switches to make it all automated. The eggs dropped into one chamber and once the chicken had hatched, it would grow to the size required to be engulfed by the lava. “Cool,” Lily said after Michael had run her through the process of it all, visibly concerned by what she had seen – even if he had shortened their farming tasks by a considerable distance. Obviously, with Minecraft being around since 2009, players have been coming up with similar contraptions for quite some time – and Reeves’ isn’t even the most startling. Some automated farming machines can be much more disturbing to see. Some players have even stretched it much further, pitting zombies against villagers in a confined hole so that they rack up materials and XP, while others have even found ways to make homes burn down as soon as they’re built. With Minecraft, the possibilities are pretty much endless.

  • Michigan man who phoned into court for suspended license arrested for never having one in the first place – Dexerto

Michigan man who phoned into court for suspended license arrested for never having one in the first place WXYZ-TV DetroitThe internet-famous man who phoned into his court hearing for a suspended license while driving has once again been arrested after authorities learned he’d never even had a driver’s license to begin with. The saga of 44-year-old Michigan resident Corey Harris is taking over social media, with yet another twist leaving netizens’ jaws on the floor. On May 15, 2024, Harris joined a Zoom call while driving to a doctor’s office for his court hearing regarding his suspended license. The incident went viral online, thanks to the judge’s stunned reaction and Harris’s subsequent realization of what he’d done. However, it wasn’t long before viewers began saying they needed to “apologize” to Harris after it was found that a judge had ordered the suspension to be rescinded back in 2022 — something Harris said was “very embarrassing.” After spending two days in jail, Harris attempted to resolve the issue with the Secretary of State, also revealing that he’d been driving his sick wife to the doctor during the time of his infamous hearing. Harris wouldn’t have the internet’s sympathy for long, though. Mere days later, thanks to resurfaced records discovered by Washtenaw County Judge J. Cedric Simpson showed that Harris never even had a valid driver’s license to begin with. On top of that, Harris also had an outstanding warrant for his arrest due to driving with a suspended license. Although he boasted a state-issued ID, which he renewed on a regular basis, he’d never been issued a driver’s license. “Let me make it very clear, based on what the court looked at — [Harris] has never had a Michigan license. Ever,” Simpson said. “And he has never had a license in the other 49 states and commonwealths that form up this great union. He has never had a license.” “He has religiously, every year, gotten a new ID. And so he knows that he doesn’t have a license,” Simpson continued. “And quite frankly, I wish he would have said this at the beginning, and all of this hoopla could have been put aside.” Now, Harris is working toward getting his learner’s permit, and eventually his license, as told in a statement to the court by his lawyer, Dionne Webster-Cox. “From this day forward, he is working diligently to take the steps necessary to get a driver’s license,” she said.
