Ludwig responds to Sykkuno moving to YouTube: “Is it a mistake?” YouTube: Mogul Mail/Twitch: SykkunoLudwig ‘Ludwig’ Ahgren has shared his take on the surprise announcement that Twitch streamer ‘Sykkuno’ is leaving the platform for YouTube. Having shared his struggles with YouTube since switching to the platform, fans were eager to hear if Ludwig thought the move was a “mistake.” Sykkuno shocked fans on May 2 after announcing that he had signed an exclusive contract with YouTube Gaming. As a result, it meant he would be leaving his 4 million followers on Twitch. One streaming giant who similarly rocked the community after switching to YouTube was Ludwig, who has certainly enjoyed some highs and lows since the change. For example, while his recent all-star poker livestream proved incredibly successful, he has also been hit with several DMCA-related bans in the past. Ludwig has now shared his thoughts about Sykkuno’s big announcement and whether his fellow streamer has made a “mistake” with the change. Ludwig praises Sykkuno for YouTube move On May 3, Ludwig broke down why he thought Sykkuno had made a good decision leaving Twitch for YouTube. Although he ultimately praised Sykkuno for the move, he also weighed up the pros and cons of streaming for both platforms. “Sykkuno makes a lot of sense for the switch. I think he has friends on here like me and like Valkyrae and his content mostly revolves around him gaming…He has a loyal fanbase.” However, Ludwig argued that streamers like Mizkif and Hasan would “struggle” on YouTube due to the fact they produce a lot of ‘react’ content that is “dead” on the platform. He claimed: “If you’re a reactor and that’s your main content, YouTube just doesn’t, at the moment, have a hospitable place for you.” Ludwig claims he is “happy” he moved to YouTube Ludwig didn’t hold back in sharing the struggles he still has on YouTube. This included issues with the site’s layout to help viewers find a livestream and the problems for creators trying to upload them. Yet, while his livestream views have wavered, Ludwig claimed that his video views have enjoyed huge success on the platform since the change. Not only that, but Ludwig said he now enjoys “a better overall lifestyle” and that he was “happy” he switched to YouTube. Particularly, due to the fact, that he was no longer “funded by viewers.” “Overall, I’m very happy with the move and I’ve got to do a lot of f*cking cool things that I would never be able to do normally,” Ludwig said. “I think Sykkuno made a really good decision and I’m excited for him to be on YouTube.”

Ludwig responds to backlash over Fansly ad at Streamer Awards – Dexerto
Ludwig responds to backlash over Fansly ad at Streamer Awards YouTube: penguinz0, Mogul MailTwitch streamer and YouTuber Ludwig Ahgren responded to growing criticism around his Fansly ad that was shown at the Streamer Awards. Ludwig and QTCinderella came under scrutiny when they featured an ad for Fansly, a site centered around creators that can include some more risqué content. The ad was featured during xQc’s game show, “JUICED,” and was arranged by Ludwig. It was also shown during QT’s 2023 Streamer Awards. Fansly was an official sponsor for the Streamer Awards, as well as Ludwig’s Chessboxing event. As a result, many viewers, fans, and other creators have sprung to criticize or defend the pair for that decision. Ludwig responds to Fansly criticism from MoistCr1TiKal Charlie ‘MoistCr1TiKal’ White was one of the popular creators who decided to weigh in on the couple’s choice to have Fansly as one of the prominent sponsors for their events. MoistCr1TiKal said that his disapproval of the decision was based on the fact that Twitch, which hosted the events, is meant to be a platform for users of all ages, and “[a]dvertising Fansly, Onlyfans, or anything in front of an audience that has younger children on it, it’s always gonna be not a great decision. It’s one of those things.” Ludwig took to his Mogul Media YouTube channel to defend himself and QTCinderella against this criticism. He explained that it seemed hypocritical to be criticizing this one sponsorship when he, and other creators, have previously engaged with and used sponsors not geared towards kids – particularly content around alcohol or gambling. “I don’t cater my content directly towards kids. I do a lot of gambling, I do a lot of drinking, I do a lot of swearing. I wouldn’t say that if you’re a kid… I’m necessarily a channel you should watch.” Ultimately, Ludwig says that Fansly meets his two main criteria for sponsorships, which are that they will make broadcasts and events the best quality possible while not going so far as to offend common standards of morality. But he also understands why some fans would be opposed to sponsors like Fansly and assures his viewers that their feedback “is always read. Whether it’s acted on or not is up to the judgment of the streamer.”

Ludwig responds to criticism for using Depp vs Heard trial for “content” – Dexerto
Ludwig responds to criticism for using Depp vs Heard trial for “content” YouTube streamer Ludwig Ahgren has responded to criticism from fans for using the Johnny Depp vs Amber Heard court trial for “content.” Over the past 6 weeks, both Johnny Depp and Amber Heard with their respective legal teams have been in the courtroom, as Depp sought out $50 million in damages for defamation as Heard accused him of abuse. In return, Amber countersued Johnny actor for $100 million. The long legal battle went viral across social media and eventually came to an end on June 1, as Johnny was awarded $15 million, with Amber Heard receiving $2 million in compensatory damages. However, YouTube streamer Ludwig ‘Ludwig’ Ahgren has come under fire from his fans as he frequently watched and “used” the court trial for “content.” In a YouTube video on his second channel Mogul Mail on June 2, Ludwig discussed how he received a message from a fan who was concerned about the way he used the trial for content. “I’m a 28-year-old woman who recently started watching you last year and I just want to say how let down I feel watching you and other content creators make a spectacle out of this trial,” the message read. “I can’t argue with the last fact, I did use this case for content,” Ludwig admitted, who went on and shared viewer stats from his reaction stream to the overall verdict of the trial. The streamer revealed his most viewed stream on YouTube since his move to the platform in December was 85,000. However, his reaction to the verdict got him over 87,000 concurrent viewers, his most viewed stream on YouTube yet. “This is sad to look at for me,” he said. “This is embarrassing because I’ve put passion and work into projects like Mogul Money, the Poker event, and whatever else. And they were dwarfed by me being a vehicle in which people would consume a court case they would’ve watched anyway. (Timestamp at 1:00) “I was a vehicle, I did not stream this and add viewers to it, I really feel like I streamed it and absorbed where people would’ve normally watched it,” Ludwig added. “Maybe this is a little cocky, but out of all the vehicles you could’ve watched it in, this car wasn’t too bad. I feel like I did try to weed out the f**king weirdos who were so pro Johnny Depp that they wouldn’t even listen to the court case. “Maybe it was wrong for me to cover it at all, and selfishly I did grow from this and maybe that is a bad thing,” Ludwig admitted. Additionally, he explained, he didn’t cover every day of the trial and was only trying to act as a beacon of information when it comes to defamation lawsuits – with him having a history of studying the topic when he was in college.

Ludwig reigns supreme dominating massive Mario Party mash challenge – Dexerto
Ludwig reigns supreme dominating massive Mario Party mash challenge YouTube: Ludwig: NintendoLudwig Ahgren has once again shown off his incredible mashing skills after challenging 100 people to face him in a small mashing showdown at Genesis 8, “the largest mash tournament of the year.” YouTuber Ludwig is well-known for his superhuman mashing skills in Mario Party. Having first wowed audiences with his speedy A-button-pressing on Twitch, in 2019 he was hailed as the ‘fastest button-masher in the world.’ There have been a number of YouTubers and mash pros who have the record since then, but Ludwig has always looked for any opportunity to put his skills to the test. So, Ludwig took things to the next level and invited 100 attendees at the Genesis 8 tournament to go ahead to head against him in a mashing challenge. Ludwig hosts Mario Party mash challenge In a YouTube video uploaded on April 24, the YouTuber streamer shared with fans what happened when he went to the Genesis 8 tournament and challenged fans to a mash match in the Mario Party 4 mini-game Domination. The aim of the game is to hit the A button as many times as possible in 10 seconds to knock over all the thwomps. Read More: NICKMERCS reveals handy Apex Legends tip – Each player who fancied the challenge had to donate $5 to take part. However, the winner would be able to take away all of the earnings made throughout the day, as well as an extra $100 that Ludwig donated himself. If he won, we would give the money to his moderators who help him create content. Ludwig claims 100 Genesis 8 attendees faced him during the small tournament but struggled to beat the YouTuber. He even managed to smash his previous record of knocking down 201 thwomps in 10 seconds. Several participants gave Ludwig a run for his money during the match. Especially as he began to get tired from the constant mashing. Towards the end of the video, Ludwig started an intense showdown with three other participants. While one player very nearly took the crown by knocking down 190 thwomps, Ludwig managed to scrape the top spot by the skin of his teeth with 193 and took home the crown. Ludwig may have had to face some hefty competition from his fellow mash pros. Yet, he has once again proven he is a force to be reckoned with when it comes to Domination.

Ludwig is refusing to do YouTube subathon but one thing could change his mind – Dexerto
Ludwig is refusing to do YouTube subathon but one thing could change his mind YouTube: LudwigLudwig has finally made his YouTube debut, and during his first stream he shot down demands for him to stage a second “Twitch subathon” on his new home — but admitted one thing could convince him to change his tune. The newly-minted YouTube streamer still holds a special slice of Twitch history: from March 14 to April 14, he kept his stream live 24 hours a day for 31 days. The immense Twitch subathon sparked dozens of copycats, earned him more than 2.6 million followers on what is now his old streaming website, and solidified his place atop the all-time subscriber counts on Amazon’s popular platform, meaning he’ll always have his name in the Twitch history books. It’s now been nine months since the star’s month-long effort came to a tear-jerking end, and Ludwig still cops one question, even after his big YouTube swap: when is he going to stage a “subathon 2.0”? In his first YouTube stream, Ludwig skewered the idea, permanently: “I’m never doing another subathon,” he said. “Whatever you call it, I’m not doing it!” Like Charles Dickens famously wrote, however, never say never. While Ludwig was originally quite firm on the idea he would “never” do a subathon — or, rather, “memberathon” — on YouTube, the in-demand streamer quickly came around to the idea, with one very clear condition. “Look, unless! Caveat. Unless it was for a charity event,” he admitted. “And then I would consider it. Like, if someone came to me and said it would be $100,000 a day to charity. Then I’ll stay live for that day. Keep going from there, you know what I mean? But that’s very hypothetical. He quickly added this wasn’t an announcement though. “I don’t have any plans, before you assume something. None at all. Zero plans there!” Related segment begins at 1:47:29 in the video below. One fan suggested Ludwig could “pop back over to Twitch” if someone ever bowled down his immense subscriber record, to which the Canadian laughed. “I don’t think YouTube would like that very much!” he said. “Hey, YouTube, mind if I head back over for a month? Yeah, it’s just a little thing, no worries, thanks.” The bottom line is, there’s a chance we’ll never see Ludwig host “Subathon 2.0,” especially after YouTube’s newest star admitted just talking about the possibility made him feel “very weird.” Recently, rising Twitch star Kkatamina staged her own popular subathon, which ran for 14 days and solidified her place as the most-subscribed female star ever.

Ludwig immediately regrets YouTube giveaway as hilarious fail bans countless viewers – Dexerto
Ludwig immediately regrets YouTube giveaway as hilarious fail bans countless viewers YouTube: LudwigPopular Youtuber Ludwig Ahgren has given hundreds, potentially thousands, of viewers to his channel a one-day ban. After requesting the watchers of his livestream spam ‘BAN ME IF I FAIL’ in chat for entry into a $100 giveaway, he soon realized that ‘ban me’ was set to actually ban the typer for 86,000 seconds, or one day. The ex-poster boy for Twitch has unintentionally gone rogue on Youtube as part of a recent ‘Spin the wheel’ stream. In an effort to raise money to pay the mods for Ludwig’s channel, for every $50 donated, the streamer would spin a wheel with various tasks to complete. Potential tasks include: Shoey With Wine, Shave a Leg, or Give a Streamer my credit card. Typical Ludwig antics. After landing on the wheel segment, ‘Give 5 viewers $100’, Ludwig started running into trouble. Viewers would enter a code set by Ahgren into the chat to go into a random draw for the cash money. As part of this, users would need a valid Discord or Twitter account to get paid. Rolling multiple times, the streamer found himself unable to find people willing to respond, with multiple people leaving the call to free money unanswered. After landing on someone with an active history of chat in the channel Ludwig let loose on the unsuspecting viewer. “James, I can’t contact you. It’s one thing you have to do. One thing! I’m sending you 99 dollars. And I hope you eat s***.” Eventually setting the code for entry to “BAN ME IF I FAIL YOU” Ahgren found that he’d encountered an unintentional flaw in his plan. “Oh wait, I’m making you type ‘ban me’ which gets you banned? Oh no!” Establishing that the ban for the viewers caught out by Lud’s trap would be 86,000 seconds, or a full day, the streamer was quick to make light of the situation. “Well now we got those people out of the way,” he joked. Uhh, my bad” Ludwig went on to express a mixture of deep regret, and full-blown rage at his fan’s inability to receive the free money. Saying: “I can’t fathom this.” Directing most of his ire at the particularly unlucky user ‘123123,’ he said “I’ve never had to deal with such levels of ineptitude. I’m banning him. Mods, please nuke him from the face of the earth.” Closing out his thoughts on the process throughout the giveaway stream, he finished with the statement. “I hate these streams. I hate these streams so much.”

Ludwig receives instant karma after Hasan calls him out for watching his stream – Dexerto
Ludwig receives instant karma after Hasan calls him out for watching his stream Twitch: Hasanabi/YouTube: LudwigYouTube streamer Ludwig Ahgren received instant karma after Hasan called him out for watching his stream while the Twitch streamer was reacting to an episode of Masterchef. Over the last few months, we’ve seen an increase of Twitch streamers watching TV shows on stream without a single care about potential DMCA issues. xQc brought the ‘TV Meta’ into popularity by watching Masterchef, starring Gordon Ramsay, and laughed off the idea of getting banned. xQc has also mentioned that the celebrity chef may even make an appearance on his stream soon. On January 4, Ludwig received instant karma from YouTube seconds after Hasan called him out for watching him react to Masterchef on stream. Ludwig gets karma after Hasan calls him out After Ludwig claimed he wouldn’t get banned from YouTube for watching the show through Hasan “because he pauses so much,” a viewer mentioned to Hasan in chat that Ludwig was watching his reactions to the Ramsay-led show. He quickly paused the show and said: “Hey Ludwig, watch out brother. Listen motherf**ker, you don’t want to get banned. Not in your car, okay b***h? Not in your f**kin car bro. You watch out dude, you don’t wanna get clapped up do you?” Seconds later, Ludwig gasped and yelled “Oh No,” as he realized his stream dashboard had a warning about copyrighted audio being played — and then his broadcast was shut down. (Topic starts at 2:39:13 in the video) However, after his last few copyright strikes, the creator learned that all he has to do is restart his stream to be able to go live again. Ludwig added: “Okay, apparently it doesn’t work guys.” Hasan’s comment towards the creator is a reference to the video that he used to announce his switch from Twitch to YouTube. In the video, the car he was driving blew up, so they switch to a new one and start playing music. Slime mentions that he can get in trouble for playing music, and Ahgren replies “Not in this car.”

Ludwig reflects on YouTube move a year on: “It was the right one” – Dexerto
Ludwig reflects on YouTube move a year on: “It was the right one” YouTube: Cold OnesA year after making the decision to move from Twitch to YouTube Gaming, popular content creator Ludwig Ahgren has reflected on the big moment. He’s confident he made the right decision, and is happier in his red home. Ludwig’s move from Twitch to YouTube Gaming made big headlines in November 2021. The streaming star, who made history earlier that year with his 31-day subathon, defected six months later to Twitch’s biggest rival. Since then he’s eased off the streaming side of things, but continues to make great video content and has pushed streaming into a new era with pre-produced mega shows like Mogul Money. A year on from the move, and Ludwig is confident he made the right choice. “It’s officially been one year since I moved over to YouTube,” he wrote on November 31. “I vividly remember how stressed and anxious I was making that decision. I’m happy to report it was the right one.”

Ludwig raises $300k in 50 hours during Subathon 2.0 and gets shocking haircut as a reward LudwigLudwig’s announcement of a second subathon came with the goal of raising money for charity, and, despite going through some tough times on the way there, he raised a total of $300,000. While Ludwig won’t be streaming for a month straight like his original run on Twitch, he set a goal of raising $100k that would be split between the Alveus Sanctuary and No Kid Hungry. In less than half of the 50 hours allotted for the Subathon 2.0, Lud managed to shatter his total donation goal, reaching $100,000 in only 21 hours. Ludwig shatters his $300k Subathon 2.0 goal With Ludwig’s original subathon having a scale and scope that’s nearly impossible to replicate, the prolific streamer had to find a way to spice things up and make Subathon 2.0 stand out. He decided to host this subathon live at Dreamhack Atlanta, putting himself in a glass box for 50 hours straight. He set several donation goals and incentives during the stream that have given viewers a reason to donate, ones that have put Lud in various embarrassing situations while he remains in the glass cage. Through all the trials and tribulation, Ludwig managed to reach his donation goal fast enough that he needed a new one.

Ludwig & Ninja fire back against claim content creators aren’t responsible for their audience – Dexerto
Ludwig & Ninja fire back against claim content creators aren’t responsible for their audience Twitch: Ninja / Instagram: ludwigahgrenLudwig and Ninja both fired back against claims that content creators are “not responsible” for their audience’s behavior, agreeing that influencers do in fact hold a degree of responsibility for their community. The debate of whether celebrities are responsible for their fanbase’s actions has long been a discussion. In the age of internet influencers, non-traditional celebrities such as streamers and YouTubers often have to grapple with this topic. One such YouTuber was IDubbbz, who released a video on May 18 apologizing for his past content and its influence on his audience. Twitch streamer, Stanz, reacted to the video, stating that creators are very much responsible for their audiences. However, a commentary YouTuber, WillyMacShow, disagreed shortly after, saying in response to the clip, “You’re not responsible for your own audience unless you directly tell them to do something… If you have 100,000 viewers, statistically speaking, one of them is going to be unhinged.” However, Ludwig disagreed with the sentiment as soon as it appeared on his timeline. “The argument that ‘statistically 1/100,000 people will be unhinged so you bear no responsibility on the other 99,999’ is incredibly weak,” he said, which then caught the eye of another popular figure on the internet today. It seems Ninja also has a similar view to Ludwig on the matter, saying, “You aren’t responsible for them, but you have a responsibility to be a good role model and leader, especially when you are talking about sensitive topics.” WillyMac responded to Ludwig’s tweet, saying, “Obviously if 99,999 of your 100,000 viewers are being racist, then you are responsible for that.” “When I made my YouTube account, I didn’t realize I signed up to be everyone’s dad,” he further responded to Ninja, “ WillyMac further defended his position, saying if a creator is spreading misinformation, scams, or directing their audience to harass an individual, it is their responsibility.

Ludwig has perfect reaction to his third YouTube ban in just one week – Dexerto
Ludwig has perfect reaction to his third YouTube ban in just one week YouTube: LudwigLudwig Ahgren has had a rocky start to life on YouTube Gaming, being whacked with three DMCA-related stream suspensions in just the past seven days, but the former Twitch star has still been able to see the funny side. On December 5, the popular streaming star was whacked with yet another YouTube suspension; his third since joining the platform from Twitch last week. All three of his rapid-fire bans — none of which actually lasted that long — were DMCA related, which left the streamer scratching his head after ironically declaring “not in this car” about copyright strikes when he revealed to the world in late November that he would be shifting allegiances to YouTube. Ludwig’s latest suspension came during his Sunday stream, just six days after his defection. The star was, as usual for his streams, watching YouTube videos and reacting when he was hit with the banhammer. And, of course, Ludwig had the perfect response. “Guys, I just realized something big,” the newly-minted YouTuber said. “I actually have to make content on this website… I can’t just f**king react to things anymore!” Of course, Ludwig wasn’t really being serious about his future. The former Twitch star has built a huge, loyal fanbase on sharing his takes on things, reacting to current events, videos, and streams, and streamer crossovers. He has no plans to pivot away from that on YouTube, but the DMCA suspensions do leave him scratching his head on how to move forward. “I’ve been getting these warnings during streams, when I watch things. And I figured that meant they were going to take the money from me. But it meant they were going to take my ass down,” he said. “So gotta figure that out.” “The problem is YouTube thinks we’re making content out of these videos, but it’s just reacting to other people’s content. They don’t get it. That makes it hard.” Then he joked: “I’ll be okay, I know I’ll be okay, but there’s no way other [Twitch] guys like Mizkif, Hasan, even xQc can ever come to YouTube and survive.” Ludwig quickly set about trying to figure out how to skirt around the YouTube DMCA issue. While he didn’t find a solid solution, he did suggest one hilarious option. The 26-year-old unveiled his genius idea midway through his return stream, an hour after suspension on December 5. According to the Californian star — very tongue-in-cheek, mind you — he can pull up “like five videos” at the same time, play them all, and the algorithm won’t know what to do. Ludwig then revealed the YouTube bans aren’t the end of the world by any means. In fact, these suspensions “aren’t so much bans, as just like, stream stops,” he explained. “They stop my stream, but I can just load it up again. “Right now what I can do is react to whatever I want, then get this DMCA thing. Then I just restart my stream. It’s not great, really, but it’s something.”

Ludwig calls out NFT “scam” using the likeness of top Twitch stars – Dexerto
Ludwig calls out NFT “scam” using the likeness of top Twitch stars Instagram: ludwigahgren / MetaDeckzLudwig Ahgren has put a new NFT “scam” on blast and threatened legal action after a ‘MetaDeckz’ trading card project used the likeness of top Twitch streamers in digital card packs without permission. While non-fungible tokens (NFTs) can certainly be worth a pretty penny, many have been the direct cause of controversy in recent weeks. From Justin Bieber and Tony Hawk to Captain Marvel’s Brie Larson, no mainstream celebrity has been free of NFT-fueled backlash. Acutely aware of how many NFT projects often involve “shady practices,” Ludwig was quick to expose the latest “scam” online. After noticing a new MetaDeckz trading card NFT using his likeness alongside fellow streamers such as xQc and Amouranth to name a few, he issued a response to shut it all down. “I am not making a f**king NFT,” he said in response to the issue. “I’ll let my lawyers take it from here.” Ludwig Trading Card (Legendary) pic.twitter.com/ph429PXeuE — MetaDeckz (@MetaDeckz) February 17, 2022 MetaDeckz, a relatively fresh project just established in November 2021, featured a range of hand-drawn NFT trading cards. Each of which took the appearance of top Twitch streamers, gave them a ranking like Epic or Legendary, and looked to raise their value online. The minimum value was set to $200, according to Ludwig. After receiving more attention than usual, the founder of MetaDeckz took to Twitter and assured that making money wasn’t his focus. “It’s just a new platform to get some eyes on your art,” he said. “I’ve been an artist my whole life and I thought I could do some really cool trading cards, maybe do something cool for the community regarding NFTs. “If we don’t sell any of them, that’s totally cool. I just wanted to do something cool with my art and streaming.” Ludwig immediately slammed this response as a “dishonest twist”, going as far as to call it a “low-effort scam”. The popular streamer claimed this artist was merely interested in “trying to make a few thousand from [his] viewers and the viewers of other large streamers. “Claiming this is for my community is insane,” he continued. “My community roasts NFT projects for their shady practices — your project being a prime example.” Allegedly “never [getting] a response” after emailing the Twitch streamers in focus for their permission, the founder of MetaDeckz decided to “continue with the project”. Refuting these claims, Ludwig fired back explaining how the artist “sent a Twitter DM less than 24 hours ago. It feels like you just reached out to cover your ass, rather than get permission.” TLDR: I am not making a fucking NFT and I’ll let my lawyers take it from here pic.twitter.com/helUAcsjJW — ludwig (@LudwigAhgren) February 17, 2022 In light of the controversy, and with Ludwig passing the issue to his legal team, the MetaDeckz website was swiftly taken down on February 16. A few hours later, the creator behind the MetaDeckz project uploaded another video on Twitter. “Seeing Ludwig’s perspective, we decided to disband the entire project even though we put in thousands of hours into this,” he explained. “It’s okay because I love the product. We just won’t sell them as NFTs. I just love the product that much, and I’m going to keep doing what I’m doing. “I thought what I was doing was cool. Looking at the streamer’s perspective I can see them not liking it in the community and not liking NFTs. I honestly thought I could change their mind by doing something cool.” https://twitter.com/MetaDeckz/status/1494171088103911429?s=20&t=e4Pv6X21RZPUWB7J-M863A At the time of writing, MetaDeckz has changed their Twitter bio to say: “MetaDeckz Fan Art. No NFT sales have been made nor will there be.” Ludwig has yet to comment about the project’s continuation, presumably to let his lawyers get involved with the alleged trademark infringement.

Ludwig criticizes Twitch for divisive policy changes without streamers’ input – Dexerto
Ludwig criticizes Twitch for divisive policy changes without streamers’ input Twitch/YouTube: LudwigProminent YouTube streamer Ludwig has lashed out at Twitch’s apology after revealing upcoming restrictions to branded content that sparked backlash online. On June 6, Twitch revealed upcoming changes to branded content and sponsored streams that are slated to kick in on July 1. These new guidelines place massive restrictions on what kinds of advertisements are allowed on Twitch, outright disallowing “burned-in” video, audio, and display ads on its platform. That’s not all; Twitch has also outlined a comprehensive list of content that isn’t allowed to be advertised, whatsoever, including adult-oriented products, medical devices, political content, and more. While streamers can still advertise sponsored content in other ways, creators all across the net sounded off in outrage over these restrictions, with many threatening to leave Twitch over these potentially damaging changes. Twitch later apologized for the “language” in their new guidelines and promised to update their wording in the near future — but not everyone is accepting this apology. Ludwig slams Twitch’s apology for policy changes Popular YouTube streamer Ludwig levied a critical eye toward Twitch following their apology, lashing out at the platform in a pointed tweet that has since gone viral. “Twitch suffers from having no relationship built with their viewers/streamers,” Ludwig said of the situation. “I don’t know why the CEO doesn’t tell everyone when these big changes are happening.” “It’s always a carefully crafted impersonal article. And based on all their recent actions, viewers have no choice but to interpret everything in the least charitable way.” Ludwig’s partner in Moist Esports, MoistCr1tiKaL, slammed the company, calling them “out of touch” and geriatric” after their apology statement. Ludwig’s latest comments follow a wave of backlash from other creators and even streaming organizations as rival platforms like Kick seek to step in as Twitch continues to face criticism for confusing bans, a 50/50 sub split, and other matters.

Ludwig reveals Mogul Money Live event lost him a staggering six-figure sum – Dexerto
Ludwig reveals Mogul Money Live event lost him a staggering six-figure sum YouTube: LudwigThe end of Ludwig’s Mogul Money series led to a massive in-person event on July 2 at the YouTube Theater in California. Though despite drawing in a crowd of 5,000 fans, the large-scale Mogul Money Live finale led to a six-figure hole in the streamer’s pocket. Always pushing the envelope with a variety of custom events from Mario Kart competitions to major Fortnite esports tournaments, Ludwig added the Mogul Money series to his rotation in 2021. Initially a Jeopardy-style game show hosted on Twitch, the now-YouTube star vowed to end this particular event series shortly after his lucrative jump to the Google-backed platform. Rather than any ordinary sendoff, however, Ludwig took over the YouTube Theater in California for its grand finale. While it shocked others like Valkyrae with its “massive” scope and attendance, it wasn’t exactly a profitable endeavor. In fact, just days removed from the spectacle and Ludwig has since revealed the six-figure loss from hosting Mogul Money Live. “I’m glad that I made all the rich influencers pay for their drinks,” he joked during the July 7 episode of The Yard podcast. As it turns out, the costs of putting on such a big event quickly added up. In total, Ludwig and his team allegedly lost “$150,000” on the Mogul Money Live event. “It was $149,500,” he added, “so I’m rounding up.” Although it did “great” in terms of viewership and HyperX even got on board as the sole sponsor, “it was not a profitable event as a whole,” Ludwig explained. The Mogul Money Live discussion begins at the 44:55 mark below. Given that the six-figure sum is purely what he lost on the event, there’s no telling just how big the total budget was. With ticket sales, merchandise, and a custom ice cream truck all generating revenue, it seemingly didn’t make a dent compared to venue costs, possible travel fees for other influencers involved, and the like. Fortunately for Ludwig’s accounting team though, the live event marked the end of the Mogul Money series. So there’s no risk of another $150K loss in the near future, unless we see another new show gain widespread popularity.

Ludwig to end Mogul Money show with big live finale “Championship Series” – Dexerto
Ludwig to end Mogul Money show with big live finale “Championship Series” Twitch: LudwigLudwig ‘Ludwig’ Ahgren’s Jeopardy-inspired game show, Mogul Money, is coming to an end, but he announced plans to end with a bang in the form of a live finale “Championship Series” show in early 2022. Ludwig first announced Mogul Money all the way back in June 2021. Since then, the show has seen many guests, including Felix ‘xQc’ Lengyel, Hasan ‘HasanAbi’ Piker, and Imane ‘Pokimane’ Anys. However, it’s all coming to an end after six episodes. Ludwig explained why — and it’s not directly related to his shock move to YouTube, which would give him more time to make “cool sh*t.” Instead, it’s because he believes it’s run its course, and he wants to do something else. But before he moves on, he announced plans to give it the send-off it deserves: a championship finale complete with a live crowd. “The last Mogul Money with Sykkuno, Leslie, and Connor was the last Mogul Money ever,” he said. “I originally signed up Mogul Money for a six-episode season. I didn’t have any plans for season two, and I still don’t.” “But I had an idea mogul money live one-day finale for the entire show. Live in Los Angeles sometime Q1 2022, where you guys can come and watch Mogul Money in person. Not just one show, but an entire championship series.” He explained wants to end the show with a “bang.” However, after that, he “doesn’t expect” he’ll do it again. “I still want to do something as high quality as Mogul Money, but it doesn’t need to be a game show.” Ludwig admitted that the plan is still in its early stages. In fact, it sounds like the ball hasn’t even started rolling at all. Ludwig mindblown after trying Tommyinnit’s “genius” Twitch follower trick – Dexerto
Ludwig mindblown after trying Tommyinnit’s “genius” Twitch follower trick YouTube: Ludwig/TommyInnitLudwig ‘Ludwig’ Ahgren showed off a Twitch follower trick from Tommyinnit, calling him a “genius” after he realized it worked. Ludwig announced his return from his break from content creation on October 13 with the announcement of his first-ever Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl tournament filled entirely with professional players from Super Smash Bros teams. Having returned from his 10-day break on October 16, he had a couple of new things to show off. Alongside his newly renovated stream room, he had a trick that he got from his friend and Minecraft content creator, TommyInnit. Ludwig shows off TommyInnit’s trick Ludwig exclaimed: “Hey boys if you follow me right now, your name will pop up on the screen.” He went on to mention that TommyInnit introduced him to this trick, having gotten about 7000 followers from it. Surprised at the result, he said: “Holy s**t it works! TommyInnit’s a genius! What the f**k.” Ludwig explained that Tommy and he have a “sensei and apprentice” relationship with each other, with him being the sensei and Tommy being the apprentice. Ahgren sarcastically replied to a viewer that said he learned from the best: “You can still teach an old dog new tricks.” However, the adrenaline from gaining a mass amount of followers died down quickly. He read a message from his chat out loud, “It’s just a bunch of people unfollowing and refollowing.” Ludwig quickly realized he probably shouldn’t do the trick anymore. He said: “I don’t know if that’s a very good thing to happen.” We’ll have to wait to see if he does any tricks suggested by the Minecraft YouTuber in the future.

Ludwig mindblown as xQc’s Twitch chat remains more active than his even while offline – Dexerto
Ludwig mindblown as xQc’s Twitch chat remains more active than his even while offline Twitch: xQc / YouTube: LudwigLudwig lost his mind after realizing xQc’s Twitch chat was more popular than his on YouTube even though he was offline, laughing at the fact it was scrolling “three times faster.” Ludwig and xQc had a stellar year in terms of stream viewership, earning them both nominations for Streamer of the Year at The Streamer Awards. In the end though, only one of them could win, and it was Ludwig. Naturally, this led to comparisons between them. Ludwig has been humble about it, admitting he’ll “never be like xQc,” describing him as a “gaming warlord streaming 18 hours a day [with bucketloads] of energy.” Still, he was shocked to learn that xQc’s chat is more active and popular than his even when he’s not currently streaming. At first, he didn’t believe it, but then he couldn’t help but laugh after realizing it was true. “His offline chat is faster than this chat? Wait! Is it? Hold up. No way,” he said after some viewers brought it to his attention. Still, he thought his chat was faster. “We’ve got 20,000 people here. We’re a speedy bunch.” After comparing them side by side, he soon realized he was wrong and lost his mind. “How the f**k is it faster?” he scoffed in disbelief while struggling to hold back the laughter. “It’s like three times faster!” Then, he explained how it’s possible. “There’s a portion of people who, when xQc is not live, will go to Hasan, Mizkif, and maybe a couple will watch me secretly. But the majority of people, if you’re streamer is not live, it’s just GG.” The relevant part of the video begins at 1:14:00. xQc has amassed a huge following over the years, and it’s still going strong. According to SullyGnome, he was the most-watched streamer in the past year with viewers turning into his channel for more than 260 million hours. So, it’s not all that surprising that his chat is still quite active even when he’s offline. Still, Ludwig didn’t expect it to be “three times” more active than his — especially when he’s streaming live to 20,000 concurrent viewers.

Ludwig loses it after fan asks him to sign something awkward during IRL stream – Dexerto
Ludwig loses it after fan asks him to sign something awkward during IRL stream YouTube: LudwigYouTuber Ludwig Ahgren was left nearly speechless after a fan approached him during an IRL stream and asked the creator to sign his adult comic book. One of the most popular types of live content on Twitch and YouTube Gaming is IRL streaming, where the creator goes out in public while broadcasting to their community. Ludwig was IRL streaming with CDawgVA at an arcade recently when a fan approached the creator for an autograph. Seconds later, Ahgren was left speechless after realizing what the fan was asking him to sign. Ludwig loses it after realizing what he’s about to autograph Uploaded on June 29 to Ludwig’s Clip channel, the video shows the beginning of the YouTuber’s interaction with his fan. “Okay, let’s do a picture, let’s do it,” he said before realizing what the fan was holding. “I’m sorry, are you holding h*ntai? Where the heck did you get that?… how can you walk around in public with that? Oh my god. You want me to sign that? There are so many br*asts” Being an adult version of Japanese manga and not exactly easily available at your local book store, it’s understandable that Ludwig reacted the way he did to his fan’s request. He still autographed it, and we’re sure the YouTuber will remember the moment for years to come. Streaming out in public opens creators up for a wide variety of interactions with other people — whether it’s a wholesome moment with a fan or something more serious like an IRL stalker or having your phone stolen while streaming. Ludwig loses YouTube subs after revealing the way he eats pizza – Dexerto
Ludwig loses YouTube subs after revealing the way he eats pizza Ludwig / YouTubeYouTube streamer Ludwig Ahgren started losing subscribers right as he was about to hit 3 million after revealing the controversial way he eats pizza. Ludwig Ahgren’s meteoric rise in popularity began after his historic subathon on Twitch that took place over 31 days. After signing an exclusive deal with YouTube Gaming and leaving Twitch behind, he has steadily been building his subscriber count to a massive 3 million. However, Ludwig’s recent admission to eating pizza with a fork and knife on stream nearly cost him that goal as subscribers began leaving en masse. Ludwig loses subscribers live on stream The popular live streamer made the controversial food take during his June 3 live stream to celebrate hitting 3 million subscribers on YouTube. According to Ludwig he “likes the taste of the pizza with metal better” and that “the metal adds a tanginess to it.” Naturally, his subscribers began leaving his channel in droves as he watched his sub count drop live via the analytics tracker SocialBlade. He quickly noticed the drop in subscribers and attempted to backpedal saying, “We are so close to 3 million…I don’t – I don’t eat pizza like this anymore.” After only a minute Ludwig lost over 1,500 subscribers after his incredibly contentious food take. Chat then demanded he eats pizza on stream without a knife and fork or else they will continue unsubscribing. Funnily enough, he caves in saying “Fine, fine I’ll eat a pizza,” and begins making a pizza order online with the help of his chat to eat it later during his stream. Ludwig eventually ended his stream at 2.99 million subscribers at the time of writing, but it’s only a matter of time until he reaches his momentous 3 million subscriber milestone.

Ludwig loses $25,000 against MrBeast in high-stakes poker game – Dexerto
Ludwig loses $25,000 against MrBeast in high-stakes poker game Twitter: @LudwigAhgrenTwitch star Ludwig joined YouTube star Jimmy ‘MrBeast’ Donaldson for a poker game in which they each put $25,000 in the pot. Unfortunately, things didn’t go as planned for either party. Amid his busy schedule streaming on Twitch and uploading daily videos to his YouTube channel, Ludwig has issued a wide variety of challenges to his viewers, dared himself to beat Jump King in a mere 30 minutes, and even made MrBeast post a picture on Instagram in a cat maid outfit, among countless other wacky things. His last interaction with MrBeast saw Ludwig beat the internet philanthropist in a POGChamps chess match, so it may be easy to assume that he had high hopes going into another high-stakes gambit with his “rival” – this one, a poker game. Ludwig’s high stakes poker match Ludwig and MrBeast decided to go at it again in another high-stakes game, in which each party ponied up $25,000 — making the total prize $50,000. After beginning with friendly banter over who was going to win the massive prize, the group promptly began with their games. While they passed large sums of money back and forth for hours, the crew had their fair share of laughs together… That is, until Ludwig decided to bet all the money he had at the time, creating a ‘win all or lose all’ situation. After MrBeast matched Ludwig’s ‘all in’ bet, they created what would have been the last game. All the cards were dealt, and MrBeast thought he had just won the prize. However, Ludwig made a grim realization — the dealer made a mistake. Karl did not ‘burn,’ or discard, a card, which means the last card that was flipped over wasn’t actually supposed to be in play. Explaining that they didn’t want to end the stream with either party losing money, the duo played one last game and made it ‘all or nothing.’ Unfortunately for Ludwig, his mogul moves cost him $25,000. I’m the first person to hangout with mr beast and lose money pic.twitter.com/xluRY8iQL5 — ludwig (@LudwigAhgren) September 12, 2021 The day after the stream, Ludwig tweeted: “I’m the first person to hang out with MrBeast and lose money.” While he may have lost a major amount of cash in front of thousands of viewers, at least he can say he accomplished something nobody has before.

Ludwig loses it after discovering he’s the reason Disguised Toast got banned on Twitch – Dexerto
Ludwig loses it after discovering he’s the reason Disguised Toast got banned on Twitch YouTube: OfflineTV / LudwigLudwig Ahgren couldn’t help but laugh at the thought that he might have been the reason Disguised Toast got banned on Twitch after watching an old clip of him encouraging Toast to watch anime on stream. Disguised Toast got banned on Twitch on January 10 for broadcasting anime to his viewers without permission. It happened mere days after Pokimane got banned on the platform for doing the same thing. However, Ludwig laughed at the fact that he might have played a pivotal role in the lead-up to Toast’s decision. In November 2021, he appeared on an episode of the OfflineTV Podcast and encouraged him to do it. “Did you guys see that Toast got banned?” said Ludwig. “This looks really bad.” He watched the clip of him telling Toast to watch anime on stream and smiled when he heard himself say he wouldn’t get banned back because they have bigger fish to fry. Evidently, that wasn’t the case. “Whoops,” he laughed. “Hey, at least now I know that when I give him advice, he’ll listen to me. So that’s cool, you know? Let’s just say I’m inspirational.” He also joked that it was “set up.” “We literally outlined everything that’s about to happen. We set this all up. Everything is working as expected. This is scripted. Everyone is freaking out about the Toast ban like we didn’t plan it two months ago.” The relevant part of the video starts at 6:32. It’s not the first time Ludwig has held himself accountable, at least in part, for another content creator’s ban either. “I remember taking some blame for getting Amouranth and IndieFoxx banned,” he said. “I directly am the reason Zane got banned. If you remember, I made him change his name to Meatspin, and then he got banned on Twitch.” Toast is the fourth streamer to be added to that list. However, it’s important to note, all jokes aside, Toast is the one who ultimately decided to watch anime.

Ludwig lets Twitch chat spend $16k of his money on a huge Jackie Chan statue – Dexerto
Ludwig lets Twitch chat spend $16k of his money on a huge Jackie Chan statue YouTube, LudwigIn a recent upload to his YouTube channel, Ludwig gave his viewers a set amount of time to spend his money on eBay. When they came to a life-size statue of Jackie Chan, however, he had to call for backup. As if Ludwig hadn’t lost enough money to MrBeast recently, the millionaire streamer was soon back at it again by giving his stream viewers a set amount of time to spend his money on ridiculous eBay listings. When he pulled up a $16,000 listing for a life-size wax statue of Jackie Chan, the streamer had to pause the timer and call his manager to confirm the purchase. Ludwig’s wax Jackie Chan In a video uploaded on September 20 to his YouTube channel, Ludwig allowed his viewers 20 minutes to spend as much of his money on eBay listings as possible. The listings started off ridiculous, with an Among Us shaped chicken nugget and a nearly three-million-dollar diamond which the streamer had to use one of his vetoes on. After deciding to buy various other trinkets and toys, chat linked him a listing for a life-size wax statue of martial artist and movie star Jackie Chan. “Why is this a thing? It’s 16,000 dollars!” he said, right before deciding to make a phone call. “This is big enough I have to ask Slime.” When the creator called his manager and best friend to clear the $16,000 purchase by him, he was met with a bit of uncertainty when Slime asked what he was buying. “Honestly, I wouldn’t focus on that… I have been thinking physically investments are the key to longevity in the business… It’s a lifesize wax statue of Jackie Chan,” Ludwig told his manager. With a sudden change of heart though, Slime told the creator that he’s actually a huge fan of Jackie Chan, and that they should definitely splurge on the item. While the statue was the biggest item viewers purchased on stream, they still went on to spend just under $30,000 total. They purchased several other life-size statues, a furry animal suit, and a even a McDonald’s drive-thru sign.

Ludwig lets YouTube viewers decide name for his new cat and instantly regrets it – Dexerto
Ludwig lets YouTube viewers decide name for his new cat and instantly regrets it YouTube: LudwigYouTube streamer Ludwig Ahgren has made a rookie error by allowing viewers in chat to throw prospective names at him for his brand new kitten, with ‘Cracker’ winning a stream game as the name of choice. Naming anything can be an auspicious affair, nominative determinism aside, finding the perfect title for a pet needs to fulfill the dual purpose of being fun to say and accurate to the personality of the animal. Skipping the hard yards for a (frankly adorable) new cat, Ludwig threw naming duties at his chat during a May 16 stream. Quickly running into the well-documented issue of letting the internet name anything, a series of inappropriate names instantly dominated the decision-making. Sifting through them, Ludwig picked out all the prospective names and chucked them into a game of marbles. With named marbles racing to the bottom of a series of tracks, this was a fair, unbiased way for one name to come out on top. With ‘Cracker’ winning the tournament, however, Ludwig visibly regretted his choice to place naming power in the hands of the internet. With the ‘cracker’ controversy dominating conversations on Twitch less than 6 months ago, as Hasan, Bruce Ray, and Froste all got hit with bans for using a ‘racially charged’ term, the name was not an ideal choice for the streamer to have. Despite the name Cracker winning the marbles tournament, Ludwig tried to avoid the name by then throwing a poll up between ‘Coots’ and Cracker as name choices for the fresh feline. Coots ended up winning the poll by 54% of the votes to Crackers 46%. In response to calls from chat that this was a scam, and backing the name Cracker after its Marbles win, Ahgren pulled up a Microsoft Paint window, drawing three names for the cat to choose itself. With ‘Cracker’, ‘Marbles’, and ‘Coots’ on screen, the cat instantly started pawing at Cracker. The cat’s dedication to the controversial name led Ludwig to declare “This cat’s a problem. For me, for society.” Throwing a reference at Twitch’s hardline bans over the use of the term, Ludwig called his partner and Twitch streamer QTCinderella up, before lamenting: “How do I break the news to QT? She’s a Twitch streamer.” In conversation with QT where she outright rejected the name, Ludwig asked: “Is it because it’s problematic?” to receive the succinct response from QT: “No, it’s because it’s a stupid-ass name.” Finding no answer to his nomenclature problem, the streamer ended his livestream with a full screen of the unnamed cat taking a nap, signing off with:”Say goodbye to Marbles, or Coots, or Cracker.”

Ludwig launches ‘Offbrand’ agency as he considers streaming retirement – Dexerto
Ludwig launches ‘Offbrand’ agency as he considers streaming retirement YouTube: Trash TasteLudwig has launched his very own creative agency, Offbrand, to help other creators create events as the star considers his inevitable retirement from content creation. Since he began streaming full-time in 2019, Ludwig Ahgren’s popularity has skyrocketed to never-before-seen heights. Rightfully so, as he has been the face of a historic 31-day subathon, his Jeopardy-Esque game show Mogul Money that ended in an iconic live event, and even an upcoming Smash Bros tournament. As he considers his inevitable streaming retirement, Ludwig has revealed his very own creative agency: Offbrand. Ludwig launches ‘Offbrand’ agency In an exclusive report from The Washington Post, Ludwig said that he started Offbrand as a way to share his event planning knowledge with other creators. He explained to TWP that he understands his career will end at some point. He explained: “When I’m 45 years old, certainly I will be [too] out of touch to have that on Twitch or YouTube. “Rather than fear that and try to maintain success for as long as possible, I love the idea of helping other creators make things that I think are cool.” Offbrand is co-founded by Nick Allen, Ludwig’s manager, as well as Twitch streamers Stanz and Atrioc — who are well known for being close friends of the now YouTube star. Back in July, Ahgren revealed that the live version of Mogul Money lost him nearly $150,000, and he wants Offbrand to help creators not have to deal with that. One of the first events that Offbrand plans to produce is his upcoming Chessboxing event that will take place on December 11, 2022.

Ludwig leaves Twitch for exclusive deal with YouTube Gaming Twitter, @ludwigahren / YouTubeAfter taking Twitch by storm, popular streamer Ludwig Ahren announced that he is taking his talents to YouTube Gaming. And his first stream on the platform will take place on November 30th, 2021. Ludwig has been one of the biggest names in the content creation game for a while now. He’s been involved in “adult toy” discourse with Pokimane, been named one of Dream’s five favorite streamers, and any number of other top-tier accolades. But, after being a dominant force for Twitch, he’s moving on. In a November 29, 2021 announcement, the streamer revealed that he will be moving to exclusively stream with YouTube Gaming. Ludwig leaves Twitch to stream with YouTube Gaming https://twitter.com/LudwigAhgren/status/1465442046328524805 The big-time streamer announced the decision on Twitter in a cheeky fashion. In the video, he left a purple car for a red one and, capping it off, he mentioned how he can play whatever music he likes in the new vehicle. Ludwig also made sure to let fans know the date of his first stream with YouTube: November 30, 2021. With over a million followers on Twitter and over 3 million followers on Twitch, Ludwig is a force in the streaming industry. A former Super Smash Bros. commentator, his popularity has skyrocketed since he began streaming full-time in 2019. So far, fans don’t know exactly what prompted the move to YouTube. But he has quickly been welcomed by fellow content creators on the platform, like Valkyrae and CouRage. For those who are wondering why Ludwig would swap platforms despite finding mainstream success on Twitch, there’s a simple explanation in the meantime. Just remember what his Twitter bio says: “Mogul moves.”

Ludwig jokes about Valkyrae “scamming” fans after RFLCT drama – Dexerto
Ludwig jokes about Valkyrae “scamming” fans after RFLCT drama Twitch.tv/LudwigThe Valkyrae-partnered RFLCT skincare drama continues with Twitch star Ludwig Ahgren making jokes about the situation, suggesting that he and Rae have a lot in common. The internet has been stuffed to the brim with reactions to the launch of Rachell “Valkyrae” Hofstetter’s RLFCT skincare line, and Ludwig is only the latest creator to speak on the situation. While Rae has now spoken on the subject and explained that she no longer wants to be involved, that hasn’t stopped the rest of the internet from sharing their thoughts about her involvement in the brand and questioning the legitimacy of the RFLCT product. Never one to be shy on matters like these, Ludwig joked about RFLCT’s reception and Rae’s intentions with the product. Ludwig roasts Valkyrae amid RFLCT controversy During an October 25 stream, Ludwig said that he is the Twitch equivalent to Valkyrae, who streams exclusively on YouTube these days, and jokingly suggested they have a similar background. “I’m the Valkyrae of Twitch,” he said. “I appeal to a general Zoomer base, I played a bunch of Among Us, and I’m known for scamming.” This isn’t the first time that he has offered up his thoughts on the situation, as he had previously commented after the initial backlash to the product. When speaking on the negative social media reaction and claims of RFLCT being based on “pseudoscience,” Ludwig explained that he thinks there’s more to the situation than a simple scam: “She just pulled 50,000 units sold of merchandise, probably cleared seven figures easy.” He also addressed the members of the public who have accused Valkyrae of knowingly aligning herself with a sketchy product. “Were they just assuming that this was some kind of nefarious she had made, hoped no one would notice, make a quick buck that she was dying for, at the risk of reputation? She’d have to be dumb as bricks.” Ludwig has previously worked with Valkyrae both on the launch of her merchandise and on the music video for Bella Poarch’s Inferno music video.

Ludwig launches “greatest” toilet bidet with new company Swipe – Dexerto
Ludwig launches “greatest” toilet bidet with new company Swipe Twitter: LudwigAhgrenIt seems like YouTube streamer Ludwig Ahgren is aiming to wipe up the bidet industry after unveiling his new “secret” company called Swipe. Anyone who’s consumed YouTuber and streamer Ludwig Ahgren’s content knows that he’s an avid fan of bidets. The topic of conversation is often brought up on Ludwig’s podcast, The Yard, even recently admitting he helped fellow streamers Hasanabi, Myth, and Fuslie. Now, Ludwig has officially unveiled his brand new bidet company called Swipe, which features two types of bidets for those looking to flush their old toilet habits down the drain. Ludwig launches new bidet company Ludwig made the announcement via his Twitter account, which gave fans the first look at his new product line. The content creator revealed he’d “secretly” been developing his own Bidet “for the past year,” and called Swipe Bidets “the greatest bidet ever crafted by man.” The tweet also included a link to Swipe’s official product page, which offers two different types of bidets at different price points. For those only looking to make a small splash in the bidet world, the $50 Swipe option is a simple, installable bidet that hooks onto one’s toilet bowl. The $50 option includes an adjustable panel for the dedicated front and rear nozzle, an all-metal T-valve, a braided hose, and offers “easy DIY installation.” The other available option, called Swipe+, costs $500 and is essentially a brand-new toilet unit with a plethora of added functions. The Swipe+ includes a remote with full control of your wash, a self-cleaning stainless steel nozzle, adjustable water temperature and pressure, and an automatic deodorizer among other features. The promotional images for the Swipe+ option certainly look sleek, with a wall-mounted remote for full control along with a seat-mounted panel to adjust the angle of the bidet nozzle. Only time will tell how lucrative Swipe will be, but Ludwig certainly seems passionate about this new business venture.

Ludwig issues hilarious chess challenge to viewer who mocked him for losing match – Dexerto
Ludwig issues hilarious chess challenge to viewer who mocked him for losing match YouTube: Ludwig / sk, Pexels.comTwitch star Ludwig Ahgren is no stranger to the game of chess, having engaged in quite a few games during his career as a top streamer — but one viewer bit off more than they could chew after commenting on one of his losses. Ludwig is one of the biggest streamers out there, gaining significant notoriety for his 31-day subathon in April (and his subsequent ~$1.6 million payday shortly thereafter). However, Ludwig, like other streamers, has taken to playing the occasional game of chess, even getting into “grudge matches” with the likes of MrBeast and other content creators. The current chess fever seen across Twitch has resulted in a renewed intrigue in the age-old game, especially after some of the platform’s biggest content creators are getting involved… resulting in some hilarious moments with their combatants. On September 6, Ludwig lost a game of chess, prompting one viewer to poke a bit of fun at the broadcaster in chat. This comment didn’t pass by Ludwig unnoticed. In response, the streamer challenged his viewer to a match, with one condition: If the viewer lost, they’d be banned, and if they didn’t accept his match, they would also be banned. “I lost ’cause I’m bad?” Ludwig said. “Alright, here’s our bet. ‘Tehceebs,’ I’m gonna play you right now. If you lose, you are banned. If you do not play, you are also banned. That’s what we’re doing.” “I’m happy for you guys to talk that s**t!” He continued. “I love talking s**t. Back it up, though.” With all this said, the player only really had one option — to play against Ludwig and back up their own claims of being proficient at the game. It turns out that the user (going by the name ‘Tehceebs’) wasn’t half bad, and their game ended up resulting in a draw. As Ludwig had laid out no rules for this particular outcome, it looks like he was spared from a ban. Ludwig then claimed he was happy to take on any other viewers who hoped to challenge him, further goading on his future opponents… without any ban-based conditions, though.

Ludwig is now banning Twitch fans who gift too many subs in his subathon – Dexerto
Ludwig is now banning Twitch fans who gift too many subs in his subathon Twitch: LudwigAs Ludwig’s seemingly never-ending Twitch ‘subathon’ rolls on, he’s had to introduce some new rules to keep things in moderation. To ensure people aren’t being reckless with their money, and to keep the community spirit, he’s now banning people for giving him too much money. The idea of Ludwig’s subathon is that the stream will continue for as long as his viewers can make it, by subscribing and gifting ‘bits’ (a form of donation on Twitch). It’s been so successful that Ludwig is not the most-subbed to streamer on the platform, but he also has some concerns about how sustainable it all is. As a result, the streamer introduced a cap of 100 gifted subs per viewer. However, as viewers could use multiple tricks to get around this cap, he has now instructed his mods to ban anyone gifting more. Ludwig banning big gifters Prior to the cap being in place, some individual viewers had gifted thousands of subs, with one of the highest spending almost $7,000 on gifted subs alone. During his stream, Ludwig explained some of his concerns with this. “Since I can’t know where that money is coming from, whether it’s mom’s bank account or just some booming business that some dude has, it doesn’t feel appropriate sometimes. “100 gifted is still a lot of gifted,” he continued. “That’s 500 bucks! We have 60,000 people [here], if 1%, 600 people, gift 100 subs, uh oh, that is 60,000 subs. That’s everything we did in the past week. I’ll be here for another seven days.” “My problem,” Ludwig concludes, “is that people are spending too much money, and it’s a bit uncomfortable. I want to curb the amount of money spent, at a 100 gift sub cap.” There are methods to get around this cap though, as some viewers quickly identified, such as using another account or separate transactions. So, to enforce the rule, the mods are now instructed to ban viewers gifting too many subs. Their bans will be lifted at the end of the subathon. There is also a cap for viewers donating too many bits, who could also face a ban until the subathon ends. Currently, estimates put Ludwig’s sub count at 109,000 at the time of writing. This is a monumental increase of more than double his subs since the subathon started over a week ago.

YouTube responds to Ludwig after shock ban for “child safety” – Dexerto
YouTube responds to Ludwig after shock ban for “child safety” Twitch: LudwigTwitch streamer Ludwig Ahgren has received a response from YouTube, after he was handed a one week ban from uploading due to one of his videos being flagged for child safety. Despite his immense success on Twitch, Ludwig appears to have very little luck elsewhere on social media. The popular streamer was banned on Instagram last week, now followed by a YouTube ban. After consistent daily uploads for the past two years, Ludwig’s streak is coming to a surprise end as a result of a ban that came through while he was broadcasting. “Hold up boys… What the f***,” he said upon noticing the ban details in his inbox. His YouTube channel, closing in on two million subscribers, is now banned. He confirmed, “I just got a community strike on my last ‘You Laugh You Lose’ video.” “They just took [the June 15 video] down. I can’t upload a video for a week. My streak’s gonna die because of a…” Ludwig yelled before trailing off. As for the reason behind this sudden strike, YouTube informed him it was related to “child safety.” Unfortunately, Ludwig wasn’t quite able to pinpoint the specific clip that resulted in the ban. “What was in the video?” he asked frantically. “This sucks actually. I wonder what it was.” Ultimately, this shock ban marks the end of his massive upload streak on the platform. For 618 days running, Ludwig released at least one video on his channel. This will now be the “first time” he’s unable to upload in “almost two years.” Why was Ludwig’s YouTube channel banned? After pondering for a few minutes, viewers in chat suggested one clip in particular that might have led to the punishment. Throughout his latest video, Ludwig reacted to a brief clip of a monkey throwing its poop at a child. However, Ludwig fired back at this idea, highlighting how the original clip is still on YouTube. “That doesn’t make sense,” he said. “The video is on YouTube. If my video got taken down, but the [original] video has 10x my views… Every single clip is a reaction to a clip on YouTube.” YouTube reinstates Ludwig video After the streamer highlighted the issue on Twitter, YouTube’s help team responded and said they would look into the situation. After a few hours, they confirmed his video had been reinstated, but with an age restriction. They also confirmed that his ban from uploading had been lifted. Following up – we heard back from our team and your video has been reinstated with age restriction. You can learn more about Age Restricted Content here: https://t.co/CaX7aMdscj. You should be able to continue uploading videos, let us know if you’re seeing otherwise. — TeamYouTube (@TeamYouTube) June 15, 2021 But, Ludwig has already taken action to prevent losing his upload streak – by reposting a short clip from over three years ago. He said: “This video was uploaded three years ago and I’m posting it in hopes of somehow keeping my streak. This might, however, be the end of the 618 days of uploading a video every day. Thank you for watching any of the videos whether it was 1 or all of them. I appreciate you and hopefully I get unbanned soon so I can keep doing what I love.”

Ludwig is auctioning off his Gold Play Button and “everything” else for charity – Dexerto
Ludwig is auctioning off his Gold Play Button and “everything” else for charity YouTube: Mogul MailLudwig is planning to auction off his Gold Play Button and “everything” else once again for charity, this time with all proceeds going to the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Ludwig is no stranger to putting himself out there for a good cause. He once intentionally trapped himself in a box at DreamHack Atlanta to raise more than $300,000 for the Alveus Sanctuary and No Kid Hungry, all while streaming himself live. And it seems he is once again putting himself out there, this time with a charity auction. Ludwig has already done one of these in 2022, in which he auctioned off his silver play button, a NFL game ball signed by Tom Brady, and a trophy from Shitcamp. All in all, that auction raised over $100,000 for No Kid Hungry. And once again, he is auctioning of “everything” in a effort to raise money for charity. Ludwig announced on his Twitter, “this Sunday [May 28] I’m auctioning off everything I own and starting fresh. Including my Gold Play Button.” Saying that for this year’s auction, all the proceeds will be going to the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Ludwig to sell massive haul for Make a Wish charity As for what he means by everything, we will have to wait and see. As the most absurd object he sold in 2022’s auction was the Cars bed he slept in during his famous 2021 subathon. He further elaborated in a YouTube Shorts, saying, “I’ve become a major hoarder after becoming a streamer. I allow my chat to spend my money to buy things and they end up buying way to much stuff.” He goes on to list a few items which his chat made him buy, such as an almost life size figure of Nami from One Piece and a lot of Pokemon Cards. He then confirms that all of them, and more, will be sold to fans for a good cause. So it really seems that Ludwig is looking to sell off “everything”. Ludwig specified that his $16,000 life size wax statue of Jackie Chan would be the only thing he wouldn’t be auctioning.

Ludwig hits out at “late great” FaZe Clan’s board of directors amid Teeqo controversy – Dexerto
Ludwig hits out at “late great” FaZe Clan’s board of directors amid Teeqo controversy YouTube: MogulMailSocial media celeb Ludwig has hit out at FaZe Clan’s board of directors, questioning those involved at the very top while the iconic gaming brand continues its decline amid yet another wave of controversy spurred on by Teeqo. FaZe Clan has been in the news a great deal lately, though not for the reasons they’d prefer. From staggering layoffs to an ever-plummeting stock price, and now, multiple former members speaking out against the company, it’s been more FaZe Down than it has FaZe Up. Most recently, we saw longstanding member Teeqo make a public statement criticizing the team for stringing him along without a deal, while neglecting veterans of the team in favor of newer signees. Having since blown up across social media for this new outburst, fellow internet celeb Ludwig has chimed in on the clan’s latest dealings. From his perspective, the issues all stem from what he argues is an out-of-touch board of directors at the very top. “FaZe is not what they used to be,” Ludwig began in his March 16 video. Where back in its prime, FaZe Clan was among the biggest content creators online, in large part due to their iconic Call of Duty montages and innovative FaZe House videos, the same atmosphere no longer exists, he argued. “That’s not what they are anymore and that point was driven home really well by Teeqo. He was rightfully upset in his video.” Diving into the details, Ludwig shared a list of current directors on the board for FaZe Clan. Not featured among the 14 listed names, only five of which actively work for the company, were any original members that built the brand into what it is today. “Why is Snoop Dogg on the board of directors, when I don’t see a single one of the original members here?” Ludwig questioned. “The average age of this board is like 50. What the f*** do these guys know about how to run an esports org? Well, I think we know the answer based on the stock price, they know jack f***ing sh**.” Then focusing his sights on current expenditure, Ludwig claimed the writing may very well be on the wall for FaZe as they “burn through” a reported $43.9m USD per year, a rate that can only support the company through until November 2023, according to Forbes. Pouring salt in the gaping wound, Ludwig concluded his video by highlighting a Valorant Challengers matchup pitting his very own team Moist Moguls against FaZe Clan. Looking to “kick the late great FaZe Clan while they’re down,” his squad managed just that, walking over FaZe with a 2-0 win on March 16.

Ludwig hits out at MatPat over ‘false information’ in Twitch react meta video – Dexerto
Ludwig hits out at MatPat over ‘false information’ in Twitch react meta video YouTube streaming star Ludwig Ahgren has hit out at MatPat and his Game Theory video for ‘false information’ on the popular Twitch react meta. The Twitch TV show react meta once dominated the platform in early 2022, with some of the biggest streaming stars like xQc, Pokimane, and many more participating. However, the meta has now seemingly died out and is long gone after streamers were hit with a wave of DMCA strikes and takedown notices. But, MatPat’s Game Theory video reflecting on the TV show reacting meta has sparked Ludwig to hit out at the creator for getting certain details wrong. In a recent Ludwig video uploaded on February 16, the streaming star reacted to MatPat’s Game Theory video breaking down the popular Twitch react meta. However, after noticing specific details were incorrect, Ludwig fact-checked and hit out at MatPat for getting it wrong – even after they tried to correct themselves in the description of the video. MatPat’s description claimed DisguistedToast staged his ban. However, after talking with the streamer himself, Ludwig confirmed it was incorrect. “Not only was Game Theory wrong about what they said in their video, but they were also wrong about the correction in their description,” said Ludwig. The relevant section begins at the 7:33 timestamp below While corrections were needed to MatPat’s video, Ludwig did praise the video in the end: “Honestly I think Matt’s video was a decent crash course for people new to streaming and Twitch. Especially for a website that has a culture of shunning people for not already knowing everything. The streamer added: “There are still enough glaring inaccuracies that I felt I could give more insight on.” With the TV show react meta behind us, we can only imagine what the next streaming craze will be.

Ludwig hits back with fire after chatter tries to mock his viewership on YouTube streams – Dexerto
Ludwig hits back with fire after chatter tries to mock his viewership on YouTube streams YouTube: LudwigYouTuber Ludwig Ahgren’s clap back to a troll comment on stream backfired after what he said accidentally roasted every single one of his viewers at the time. As content creators grow in size and start having more viewers, its quite common for them to have to deal with trolls in their stream chat or comment sections on YouTube. Just a few days ago, Pokimane dealt with someone in her Twitch chat telling her to shut up, resulting in her quickly snapping back in style. On a recent stream, a user watching Ludwig left a comment that the YouTube streamer didn’t appreciate, so he sarcastically clapped back. However, unlike Pokimane, Lud’s comment backfired as it accidentally roasted every single one of his viewers. Ludwig claps back at stream viewer and it backfires During Ludwig’s broadcast, a viewer left a troll comment that he was “low on views” during his stream. “Yeah, you’re watching me Friday night. You’re low on hoes, Edmond. You came out of the womb and your parents said Edmond straight the f**k up,”Ahgren quickly retorted. His comment ended up backfiring with fans mentioning they were also watching him on a Friday night, forcing Ludwig to address the situation. “No, not the rest of you guys watching on Friday night. That’s super cool and chill!” he backtracked. “The rest of you watching on Friday night? That’s actually POG as f**k. I was thinking. It’s just Edmond,” he explained. “You guys keep your h*es for the weekend. That’s what I respect about you guys.” While Ludwig initially just intended on retaliating back at the rude comment left by Edmond, viewers obviously appreciated his hilarious attempt at recovering from his misworded clap back.

Ludwig hits out at Gus Johnson over apology video to Abelina Sabrina – Dexerto
Ludwig hits out at Gus Johnson over apology video to Abelina Sabrina Twitch: Ludwig, YouTube: Gus JohnsonYouTube streamer Ludwig ‘Ludwig’ Ahgren has called out content creator Gus Johnson’s behavior towards ex-girlfriend Abelina Sabrina after she posted a video citing a lack of support during her failed pregnancy. Gus Johnson is a YouTuber known for his comedic skits and collaborations with Eddy Burback, NakeyJakey, and more. Johnson was dating fellow content creator Abelina Sabrina until September 2021. Sabrina had opened up publicly about their relationship on her channel last October, but now, Ludwig has spoken out about Johnson’s behavior following a video that examined ‘canceled YouTubers’. Ludwig reacts to “difficult” video from Abelina Sabrina In a video titled ‘What happened to these canceled YouTubers?’, Ludwig discussed the “difficult” to watch video from Johnson’s former girlfriend. “It basically talks about how she dealt with months or years, of mental abuse and unsupportiveness from Gus Johnson,” began the streamer. Sabrina details in the video how she needed surgery following her ectopic pregnancy and failed to receive sufficient support from Johnson. Ludwig took aim at his actions, as Johnson allegedly put off meeting Sabrina on the day of the surgery to have drinks with his friends: “That’s a small minute point, on an entire history of Gus doing f****** sh*t.” Johnson returned to YouTube in January 2022 after taking a hiatus from social media. Ludwig criticized Johnson’s attitude in the video: “Fellas if you’re in a relationship…the easiest t-ball of your relationship is carrying or bringing your partner to the hospital. “It’s easier than picking a place to eat dinner with your partner…you have to make decisions…this ones a gimme,” added Ludwig. Johnson hasn’t followed up with any content on his channel but did respond to accusations against him on Twitter. Very confused why Sabrina is claiming I lied in my apology. We attended hours of couples coaching sessions with a specialist that Sabrina picked out herself. During these sessions we worked on conflict resolution, communication, goals, etc. Here is some proof. pic.twitter.com/TBOge013Fa — Gus Danger Johnson (@Gusbuckets) January 24, 2022 Sabrina addressed Gus’s response, stating that despite attempts to “correct the record” after “false” impressions of past events were detailed, she won’t be “engaging” with the matter any further.

Ludwig says his streaming retirement is just a few years away – Dexerto
Ludwig says his streaming retirement is just a few years away YouTube: Mogul MailStreaming star Ludwig Aghren has hinted that his retirement from broadcasting could just be a few years away. Ludwig Ahgren is one of the internet’s most prominent streamers. As of May 16, the Mogul Money creator revealed he’s been streaming for six years. Ludwig notably skyrocketed to worldwide fame in 2021 thanks to his record-breaking subathon, during which he streamed for a jaw-dropping 31 days without stopping. Since then, Ludwig has gone on to helm a number of major projects such as his Mogul Money game show, his viral Mogul Chessboxing tournament, on top of raising $300,000 for charity during his ‘Subathon 2.0’ last year. However, Ludwig has made several remarks about how his streaming career will eventually come to an end. While many content creators have been streaming for over a decade with no end in sight, Ahgren has claimed in the past that he has definite plans of retiring. Back in September 2022, Ahgren penned a Tweet mentioning the eventual end of his streaming career. “Not today, not tomorrow, but at some point in the future I will quit streaming,” he wrote in a post announcing the launch of his ‘Offbrand gg’ content agency. Several months have passed since this post — but it doesn’t look like Lud has changed his mind about the end of his career. Ludwig teases end of streaming career in less than a decade On May 16, Ludwig celebrated six years of streaming before making mention of his plans to eventually stop broadcasting to transition to another occupation. “Today marks 6 years of streaming,” he wrote. “I think I’ll quit at 10 years. Excited to make cool sh*t until then.” This means that, sticking to Ludwig’s word, he has four more years until he decides to say goodbye to streaming for good — that is, assuming he sticks to his plan. In a response to fellow creator JSchlatt, Lud also joked that he “honestly might tap out and start a bakery next year,” not a surprising thought considering that partner QTCinderella is a cake decorator on top of her career as a streamer. Ludwig isn’t the only creator considering a form of retirement, by far. In fact, YouTube star KSI has made plans to retire from boxing in 2023 after helping kickstart the influencer-boxing trend back in 2018 alongside Logan Paul.

Ludwig hits back at Dream fans after Content Creator of the Year award drama – Dexerto
Ludwig hits back at Dream fans after Content Creator of the Year award drama Dream YouTube / Ludwig Twitch / The Game AwardsLudwig responded to ire from Dream’s Minecraft fans after confusion over The Game Awards ‘Content Creator of the Year’ nominees started to get heated. The popular Twitch streamer reacted to a few different nominees for YouTube’s Streamy Awards as well as The Game Awards’ shortlist. But it was the latter, which includes a packed arena with the biggest names on YouTube and Twitch including Dream, Fuslie, Gaules, Ibai, and GrefG, that got attention. “Oh I was just joking and playing heel,” Ludwig said. “I was talking to my friends one of who was a nominee as well. Also, I did get nominated for The Game Awards which I think is PogChamp. “Anyway vote Leslie, hydrate regularly, and have a good day.” oh I was just joking and playing heel. I was talking to my friends one of who was a nominee as well. Also I did get nominated for the game awards which I think is PogChamp Anyway vote Leslie + hydrate regularly + have a good day — ludwig (@LudwigAhgren) November 19, 2021 Previously, the American streamer joked about his omission from this year’s candidates while putting a spotlight on other talents he’d like to see nominated. “There are a lot of great streamers who don’t get nominated for awards who I think are always perennially snubbed,” Ludwig said. He specifically mentioned talents like Sykkuno, xQc, TommyInnit, and Jerma985 while listing off some of his own biggest highlights of the year. His comments drew backlash from some people online which, in this case, included a lot of Dream fans. “But really if you can’t show good sportsmanship and just congratulate other people’s achievements without putting them down, then you deserve nothing and that’s why you weren’t nominated Ludwig,” one fan said. Clips from Ludwig and Sykkuno’s reaction to the list have been circulating which generally calls into question the batch of nominees. “Is this a spicy take if like half of them don’t even stream that much,” Sykkuno said. While streamers don’t typically look at these awards as validation for their year of content, there are still lingering questions on the Content Creator of the Year shortlist.

Ludwig got a Hollywood billboard but something behind him stole the spotlight – Dexerto
Ludwig got a Hollywood billboard but something behind him stole the spotlight MARVEL, Insomniac Games / Twitter: LudwigStreaming star Ludwig Ahgren was excited to show off his very own billboard in Hollywood… but an unexpected ‘photobomb’ ended up becoming the center of attention. Ludwig Ahgren is one of the biggest names in the streaming game right now. The influencer notably moved from Twitch to YouTube in 2021 after going viral for his record-breaking, 31-day subathon. Boasting over 2.6 million YouTube subscribers, Ludwig is still making waves months later… and now, he has a billboard to show for it. On February 9, Ahgren revealed that he scored his very own billboard in Hollywood, California, at the TCL Chinese Theater. Rather than plastering his own face on the giant sign, though, Ludwig decided to use his V-Tuber model. Either way, it certainly marks a huge moment for one of the world’s most popular streamers. Well, it would have, if not for his fans pointing out a subject in the background of his photo commemorating the occasion. I got the chance to have my face on a billboard in Hollywood so I hit them with the maidwig LOL pic.twitter.com/Vcyw9Otpow — ludwig (@LudwigAhgren) February 10, 2022 A few memelords pointed out that one of Hollywood’s signature street performers, dressed as Spider-Man, was walking in the background — and decided to make it the focal point of Lud’s celebratory post. “Nevermind that, IT’S F***ING SPIDERMAN BRO, LETS GOOO” one user joked. nevermind that ITS FUCKING SPIDERMAN BRO LETSGOOO pic.twitter.com/kDHUPQCjMK — viv ツ (@vivianissad) February 10, 2022 “I can’t ignore the Spider-Man,” another noted. “That Spider-Man fresher than Ludwig,” another fan quipped. That Spider-Man fresher than Ludwig pic.twitter.com/UvfVNDMwKk — Esteban 🇪🇨 (@successfulyme) February 10, 2022 Of course, it’s clear that these comments are just jokes. Ludwig’s major billboard moment didn’t go unnoticed by his viewers — but it definitely made for a hilarious batch of memes. This occasion is almost hilarious enough to compete with the time Minecraft star Ranboo beat out the likes of jchlatt, Spifey, and BadBoyHalo to score a few meme-worthy advertisements on prestigious New York City billboards (one of which said, ‘Ranboo, my beloved’).

Ludwig got so annoyed at YouTube copyright he made his own music library – Dexerto
Ludwig got so annoyed at YouTube copyright he made his own music library YouTube: LudwigLudwig and Jschlatt have created their own library of classical and gaming-inspired music to combat YouTube’s notoriously strict copyright system. Ludwig and Jschlatt are two major powerhouses in YouTube’s ever-growing annals of content creators. As one of the top streamers on the platform, Ludwig is well aware of how YouTube’s Content ID system can result in a swift ban; in fact, he got the world record for receiving the fastest ban on the platform after just 90 seconds earlier this month for playing copyrighted music. As a result of this, Ludwig decided to team up with fellow creator Jschlatt to take matters into their own hands and find a way to sidestep the site’s swift copyright policy. Ludwig and Jschlatt create free music library for YouTube creators On September 27, Ludwig revealed that he and Jschlatt had apparently hired a slew of professional musicians to recreate some of the world’s most popular classical pieces, which the YouTubers are offering for free use on the site. That’s not all; they’ve also got two Nintendo-inspired tracks for creators to use in their videos (which are purposefully reminiscent of the Wii Shop theme and Animal Crossing). Thus far, there are nine songs available on the channel called ‘Lud and Schlatt’s Musical Emporium,‘ with more coming soon depending on fan interest. “They’re free for anyone to use,” Ludwig explained. “All you need to do is credit our name.” Ludwig and Schlatt’s music library follows a similar move YouTube made just a week prior, where the site launched a way for creators to buy official Music licenses to use “an ever-growing catalog of music” in their videos. This is just the latest major move Ludwig has made after he created his own talent agency, ‘Offbrand,‘ to help his fellow creators launch events in the spirit of girlfriend QTCinderella’s Streamer Awards and Sh*tcamp, among others.

Ludwig goes live on Twitch despite YouTube exclusivity deal after CDawgVA’s mistake – Dexerto
Ludwig goes live on Twitch despite YouTube exclusivity deal after CDawgVA’s mistake LudwigLudwig found himself streaming on Twitch by accident and broke his YouTube exclusivity deal with CDawgVA mistakenly leaving his account logged in after using his streaming setup. With the rise of streaming and influencers becoming more important than ever, big-money deals have become commonplace. From XQC’s record-breaking Kick deal to the COD League only being streamed on YouTube, there’s clearly value in these deals for the platforms involved. One of the biggest exclusivity deals came when Ludwig signed with YouTube Gaming. A deal that later encouraged him to discuss some of the challenges of streaming on YouTube. But just because someone has signed an exclusivity deal doesn’t mean they can’t slip up from time to time as Ludwig found out the hard way. Ludwig streamed on Twitch by accident despite being YouTube exclusive Ludwig accidentally streamed on Twitch for the first time since November 2021 after CDawgVA – better known as Connor – forgot to log out after using his streaming setup. Quickly realizing his mistake, Ludwig reacted: “It’s not showing up. Am I live on Twitch? Did I f**k up? Did I do a f**cky wucky I did. F**king stupid ass Connor didn’t log out of his dumb ass thing.” After jokingly mocking Twitch shouting “LMAO,” and blowing raspberries he then explained: “Legally I’m not allowed to be here so this never happened, okay? I’m not on Twitch, love YouTube. Nobody saw this and if you narc you’re a f**king opp so please.” This wasn’t the only outcome of Connor’s visit though. CDawgVA himself ended up streaming on QTCinderella’s account, also known as Blaire. QTCinderella is Ludwig’s girlfriend and regularly streams using his setup. With CDawgVA currently staying over at Ludwig’s place, Connor started his stream forgetting to check what stream key was connected to OBS. All in all, this ended up being a humorous and low-key affair. All three are good friends with Ludwig and CDawgVA regularly collabing together on various projects.

Ludwig explains why he crops Hasan out of his YouTube videos – Dexerto
Ludwig explains why he crops Hasan out of his YouTube videos Ludwig, YouTubeAfter HasanAbi finally realized that Ludwig has been cropping him out of his YouTube videos, his fellow streamer has had to give him an explanation – and it’s not as personal as you might think. Popular Twitch streamer Hasan ‘HasanAbi’ Piker is known for his takes on drama around the platform, as well as his political commentary and interesting dress style. In their August 16 stream on Twitch, Hasan can be seen checking out clips on Reddit when he comes across a link with the caption: “Mogul Moves,” referencing fellow creator Ludwig Ahgren. As soon as he opened the link you can see the creator notice that he has been cropped out of the image used for the thumbnail for a video , titled: “Why I love hanging out with OfflineTV”. HasanAbi’s reaction to Ludwig cropping him out After clicking the link captioned “Mogul Moves,” HasanAbi recognized the thumbnail image on a video from Ludwig as one they took together for another video and immediately spotted that he was cut out of the image. Having been on the far left of the image, Hasan continued to mention a few details about it: “He’s literally wearing the jacket,” continuing on with: “He’s wearing my hat” – referencing a past video from Ludwig that included Hasan and Pokimane picking clothes out for the creator. After a comment in chat moves his attention to the latest episode of “Mogul Money,” a game show hosted by Ludwig himself, you see Hasan crack a smile — breaking the “serious” look that he had before. He reads the title of the video and quickly notices that despite being in the video, Ludwig did not include HasanAbi’s name anywhere in the description or title. The streamer then notices another video, titled: “Pokimane takes me shopping.” This was the third example of Ludwig leaving Hasan out, so he yelled: “Are you F***ing kidding me?!” Ludwig’s reaction to Hasan finding out Soon after Hasan realizes Ludwig’s actions and continues to laugh about it, members of the streamers community head over to Ludwig’s stream — who just happened to be streaming at the same time. Ludwig’s chat soon starts filling up with comments from Hasan’s community. “Traitor” and “OMEGALUL” posts appear, continuing to show that it’s clear everything is a joke and nobody is actually mad. The streamer continues: “Okay, Alright. You want to know the F***ing reason it was called Pokimane takes me shopping?!” before changing the screen to his YouTube analytics screen. “LOOK! Feast your eyes! That’s the reason!” Ludwig exclaimed, showing that one of the videos in question was getting 48% better views than videos normally do. With a smile on his face, Ludwig raises his arms up and says: “Sue me! Sue me,” implying he purposely put emphasis on Pokimane, hoping to get more views using the popular OfflineTV founder’s name. Whether or not this is a tactic he will continue to deploy in the future remains to be seen, but it’s not a mystery anymore!

Ludwig gets perfect revenge on Adin Ross fan who allegedly threatened his girlfriend – Dexerto
Ludwig gets perfect revenge on Adin Ross fan who allegedly threatened his girlfriend Twitch: NmplolThe feud between Twitch stars Ludwig and Adin Ross has finally simmered down — but there’s still stories coming about about the drama when it was at its peak just a day ago. For those out of the loop, influencers Ludwig Ahren and Adin Ross got into a heated spat after Ludwig, Chance ‘Sodapoppin’ Morris and Nick ‘Nmplol’ Polom roasted Ross’s Twitch viewers during an IRL broadcast. Ross took issue with their comments, claiming that “You guys literally have f**king hall of fame nerds… in your chat that spam Poggers and Omegalul the entire stream,” and bragging “If they actually went to war with us, we would literally sh*t on them.” This prompted a back-and-forth between the streamers, during which Ludwig attempted to handle things privately at one point — but ultimately, FaZe co-founder Ricky Banks helped them to get back on good terms. In the midst of all the drama, though, some fans took things a little too far. According to Ludwig, one Adin Ross fan messaged him with serious threats toward his girlfriend. “It was presumably an Adin Ross fan, who said, like, ‘Kill yourself,’ and then, ‘I’m gonna forcibly have sex with your girlfriend,’ but in less words,” he explained. “Super aggressive message. I looked at their profile, and it had their high school. So I just found their high school and sent a screenshot to the principal and said, ‘Email sent.’ And they sent me a super big apology.” This is just one of the many hateful messages Ludwig received during his spat with Adin, with the streamer reacting to a slew of negative comments from fans of Ross during a broadcast. An Adin Ross fan DMd me and said he’d kill me and attack QT so I found his high school and wrote an email to his principal I decided not to send it but to anyone who’s this invested in a streamer don’t ruin your life over an online creator who doesn’t know you or care about you pic.twitter.com/7QGlh4yiAw — ludwig (@LudwigAhgren) June 1, 2021 Ludwig isn’t alone in his reaction to the hater’s messages, either; his girlfriend, fellow streamer QTCinderella, claimed that she had sent a message of one troll’s messages to their own mother. Ouch! No matter the case, it’s never okay to send someone threats online — but Ludwig clearly handled the situation like a pro.

Ludwig fires back at Streamer Awards criticism: “People are reaching into a bag” – Dexerto
Ludwig fires back at Streamer Awards criticism: “People are reaching into a bag” YouTube: LudwigLudwig fired back at people criticizing QTCinderella’s The Streamer Awards, claiming they’re “reaching into a bag” to nitpick things to complain about and the event was run well. The Streamer Awards was a huge success — especially if you look into the viewership stats. It also commemorated the achievements of content creators in the streaming industry in a new way: for creators, by creators. However, not everyone thinks it was perfect, including some of the guests. Sykkuno felt it was “weird” seeing Corpse Husband, Disguised Toast, Valkyrae, and himself get left out of the Among Us recap in favor of others. Valkyrae also said the ceremony felt “very OTK oriented”, referring to the fact she wasn’t included much — although she later apologized to QTCinderella for how her criticism came across. It goes deeper than that though. Ludwig claimed viewers have been complaining about things too. He believes some of their criticisms are underserved though and clapped back by accusing them of “reaching into a bag” to find something to whine about. Ludwig kicked off the conversation by telling fans he felt good about how The Streamer Awards went. “The awards show was insane. It was dope. Everything ran well,” he said. However, he believes there was a downside to that. “It ran so well and was so good that people are trying to find little things to complain about.” He listed some examples, including the path people had to take to walk to the podium, the seating arrangements, and more. It’s something he struggled to get his head around. So, he fired back, saying: “It was like holy sh*t. People are reaching into a bag to find things. It’s kind of what people do after watching movies. It’s crazy to me.” Ludwig wasn’t too mad about it, though. He said his piece and carried on with the stream. However, it created another talking point for an event that people are still talking about — which shows how big it was. The thing people are debating about the most was Ludwig winning the award for Streamer of the Year over xQc, which he described as a “bummer.” Instead, he wants them to focus on how good the show was.

Ludwig furious after losing his Pokemon Nuzlocke run to a level 5 Cyndaquil – Dexerto
Ludwig furious after losing his Pokemon Nuzlocke run to a level 5 Cyndaquil YouTube: LudwigYouTube star Ludwig Ahgren was fuming after his permadeath Pokemon Nuzlocke run of a fan game was lost to a level 5 Cyndaquil. The Pokemon franchise is no stranger to fan-made content and community-modified versions of the popular games. Ludwig Anders Ahgren, better known simply as Ludwig, has a rich past of playing Pokemon games, often undergoing self-imposed challenges such as the “Nuzlocke.” The challenge stipulates that the player can only catch 1 Pokemon per area, any Pokemon that are knocked out must be permanently discarded, and running out of Pokemon is considered an instant game over and the current save must be deleted. Ludwig attempted the challenge during his March 28 stream as a throwback to his early days of content creation while playing a modified version of the game called “Pokemon Mogul Emerald” that features many references to Ludwig and streamers associated with him. However, his first run ended abruptly. Ludwig furious at losing to a low-level Cyndaquil Ludwig started the first run of “Mogul Emerald” picking the grass-type Trecko starter and eventually reached the first fight with the rival character. The rival and her level 5 fire-type Cyndaquil proved to be a much bigger issue than Ludwig initially assumed they would be. When the enemy Cyndaquil’s HP was in the red it managed to score a critical hit against Ludwig’s Pokemon and down them from almost full health which both surprised and enraged the streamer. “What the f**k!? There’s no way! No, no, no, no, hold, hold, hold, do I have to f**king reset? Does that even count? There’s no way I just got boomed like that,” was Ludwig’s reaction to the surprise crit that ended his first run. Ludwig immediately started a second run that was much more successful, although that one also ended in failure at almost 4 hours into the game. After that Ludwig wrapped up the stream for the day.

Ludwig explains YouTube’s streaming advantages as Twitch is “falling apart” – Dexerto
Ludwig explains YouTube’s streaming advantages as Twitch is “falling apart” YouTube: LudwigYouTube streamer Ludwig has offered advice for creators looking to move away from Twitch, citing a lack of key functions for growth within the Amazon-owned platform. The landscape of streaming was changed forever when cultural figureheads such as Ludwig Ahgren, Dr Disrespect and TimTheTatMan left Twitch behind. Favouring the likes of YouTube instead, each of them have found prolonged success. Between the two platforms, the highs and lows of them continued to be debated, though Ludwig believes Twitch is in need of a crucial overhaul. With less than a year having passed since switching to YouTube, the content creator is sharing his experiences to likeminded streamers. Ludwig believes YouTube Shorts could pave the way forward past Twitch In Ludwig’s video ‘Everyone Is Leaving Twitch’, the streamer began by saying “we’re gonna talk about how Twitch is falling apart at the seams, and what you can do if you’re thinking about switching over to YouTube. Maybe as a viewer or as a streamer.” “Its no question to anybody whats been happening on Twitch…they’ve announced pay cuts for top streamers going from 70% down to 50%. They also announced that they’re removing the Hosts feature,” continued Ludwig. “For the first time Twitch streamers are actually considering going to YouTube. It makes sense, I mean YouTube has a 70-30 cut, they have a robust VOD system that destroys Twitch…and they’re also probably gonna be around in 50 years and that’s much harder to say about Twitch.” Discussion begins at 0:40 While Ludwig claims Twitch is still “the top dog” due to the “products they offer”, YouTube is making strides to entice creators with their “monetization of YouTube Shorts.” “They have one edge over TikTok and which is that they’re now paying the creators…what I’ve noticed with Shorts is that it is a phenomenal tool for boosting viewership,” the streamer explained. Ludwig claimed that there is going to be “an arms race for subscribers” as more creators realize the potential Shorts has, making it far more viable for YouTubers to gain significant subscriber boosts. While Shorts are proving to be a success, there is still a place for “clips channels” where Ludwig himself can just “throw sh*t* at the wall” outside of his main videos. “I think if people are interested, let me know and I’ll make a full in-depth guide on how to stream on YouTube,” added Ludwig. While YouTube continues to offer competitive pay for creators, Twitch will not be changing their percentages anytime soon.

Ludwig fans force streamer to tease “Subathon 2” after losing YouTube wager – Dexerto
Ludwig fans force streamer to tease “Subathon 2” after losing YouTube wager YouTube: LudwigLudwig Ahgren was forced to bait his fans on Twitter by teasing an announcement for ‘Subathon 2.0,’ a fake follow-up to his record-shattering 2021 Twitch stream. We’re fast approaching the first anniversary of Ludwig’s biggest endeavor. It’s been 10 months since Ludwig skyrocketed to the top of Twitch as a result of his immensely popular 31-day subathon. While plenty has changed over the following year for the now-YouTube exclusive streamer, he’s made one thing abundantly clear since ending that historic broadcast: Ludwig has vowed to “never” do it again. Although he’s open to marathon streams, the North American star has no intention of committing to a full-fledged subathon anytime soon. Knowing this full well, viewers in his January 26 stream found the perfect moment to force his hand. By losing a YouTube wager and having some poor luck, Ludwig found himself teasing ‘Subathon 2.0,’ all against his will. A common event on Ludwig’s channel is a ‘spin the wheel challenge.’ In this instance, the streamer reacted to a range of clips and if he happened to laugh, the wheel would start spinning. On each segment of the wheel was a different task. Some were positive, forcing Ludwig to ‘love raid’ another streamer. But others like ‘dying hair’ were a little riskier. It just so happened that an hour into this challenge, the wheel landed on: Chat Tweets on My Account. With suggestions immediately piling up, it was down to viewers to vote on what Ludwig’s Twitter account should send out next. Without hesitation, the very first suggestion made it through: the majority of fans watching along voted for Ludwig to tweet a teaser of a new subathon. “The problem is, the 30,000 people in here are a fraction of the 1.2 million people that follow me [on Twitter],” Ludwig said. “It would create some uproar.” “Bad idea?” he questioned moments before hitting the bright blue ‘tweet’ button. “It can’t be that bad. Realistically, me announcing a subathon changes nothing about peoples day to day lives.” Within seconds, the tweet exploded on social media thousands reacting to the ‘news.’ “This is such a bad idea,” he laughed moments after seeing the reception. While Ludwig is clearly against a repeat of his famous 2021 subathon, he told fans if it ever did happen, “this is how [he] would actually announce it.” Although the forced tweet has set the internet ablaze once again, don’t hold your breath for Ludwig to change his mind: “Follow through? No f***ing shot.”

Ludwig explains why Twitch’s major data leak is a “good thing” for viewers – Dexerto
Ludwig explains why Twitch’s major data leak is a “good thing” for viewers YouTube: LudwigPopular Twitch streamer Ludwig Ahgren spoke up about the platform’s recent data breach, claiming that the leaked earnings of the site’s biggest broadcasters can be a “good thing” for fans. On October 6, Twitch was hit with a major data breach that leaked a slew of sensitive information, including various Twitch clients, Twitch properties, and even a potential Steam competitor. However, all of these details have paled in comparison to the leaked earnings of the site’s stars. While the bigger moneymakers of the platform have gone without much ado, social media was set alight with criticism against names like Hasan and Sykkuno, both of whom made a projected ~$2 million since 2019 from subscriptions. While there’s the matter of potentially sensitive leaked data to consider (although Twitch has since claimed that no passwords were leaked, instead opting to change broadcasters’ stream keys), popular streamer Ludwig claims that this information can be a good thing for viewers. https://twitter.com/KnowS0mething/status/1445651544200781830?ref_src=twsrctfwtwcamptweetembedtwterm1445651544200781830twgrtwcons1_&ref_url=httpswww.dexerto.comentertainmentsources-twitch-leak-severely-underestimates-earnings-for-biggest-streamers-1669624 Ludwig responds to Twitch earnings leak It’s no secret that subscriber counts are publicly available information. When multiplied by the amount that streamers make per sub — usually around $5 for Tier 1 subscriptions — it can be a fairly simple task to hammer out an approximation of how much a broadcaster is making on subs, alone. To Ludwig, this earnings leak better clarifies how the split between Twitch and its streamers works, allowing fans to understand how much their favorite broadcasters are making per subscription. Our investigation is ongoing, and we are in the process of analyzing all of the relevant logs and data to assess actual impact. For an update see https://t.co/mp8wndXv03 — Twitch (@Twitch) October 7, 2021 “The good thing about this leak is that, now, you can find out what the sub splits are,” he explained. “Because streamers, if you don’t know, don’t all get the same amount of money from Twitch. You guys give streamers $5 every time you sub. So when you Twitch Prime to me, which is about, I think, two-thirds of the people who sub to me, you give me a certain amount of money.” He went on to clarify that he, nor is any streamer, allowed to divulge what percentage of money they make from their split with Twitch per the site’s terms of service… but with this new info in hand, viewers have a better idea of how much dough is going toward their favs. (Topic begins at 6:56) That said, it has also been revealed that the leaked Twitch earnings “severely underestimate” streamers’ income, as they don’t account for sponsorship deals, merch sales, or other such revenue sources… so the numbers we’re seeing now are likely far less than what broadcasters are actually reeling in, leaving us as much in the dark as we were before.

Ludwig explains why YouTubers are more successful than Twitch streamers – Dexerto
Ludwig explains why YouTubers are more successful than Twitch streamers Ludwig YouTubeDuring a recent podcast with Colin and Samir, popular streamer Ludwig explained why YouTubers are more successful than Twitch streamers with day-to-day life tasks, and it’s for one very specific reason. In November 2021, the streaming world was shocked when Ludwig made the switch to YouTube after signing an exclusive deal with the Google-owned platform. The popular streaming star once became the most-subscribed creator on Twitch, reaching an impressive 283,066 subscriptions during his 30-day long live stream that began in March 2021. It’s fair to say Ludwig has a good grasp on life as a streamer. Now, the 26-year-old creator has explained why YouTubers are more successful than Twitch streamers as more broadcasters work absurd hours. Ludwig explains the difference between Twitch streamers and YouTubers “Twitch streamers are like an underbelly. They’re like barely able to survive as humans,” Ludwig claimed during a recent podcast with influencers Colin and Samir. “Half of them Uber Eats every single meal. They never pay any of their bills. Taxes are something they just forget about. And I was the same, I was slipping,” the streaming star admitted. “As opposed to YouTubers who are well put together, like basically Silicon Valley people to some extent – Twitch streamers will push themselves to go 150, 200, 250, 300 hours in a month, which is absurd. You know it’s like double a workweek just streaming.” “So then it’s like, okay when are you doing your laundry man? And the answer is, they’re not.” Previously, streamers like League of Legends star Tyler1 have admitted that their long 200 hour contracts are taking their toll, and could lead to the creator’s retirement. However, fortunately for Ludwig, he no longer has to put in a grueling 200 hours to meet the requirements of Twitch contracts according to his friend and fellow streamer Mizkif.

Ludwig explains why LivestreamFail subreddit is “bad” for Twitch – Dexerto
Ludwig explains why LivestreamFail subreddit is “bad” for Twitch YouTube: Mogul Mail / Reddit: r/LivestreamFailStreamer Ludwig has opened up about why he thinks the popular Reddit forum LivestreamFail is toxic for the streaming industry. The Mogul Money creator said it took him leaving Twitch to YouTube to realize the subreddit causes more harm than good. Originally created in 2015, the LivestreamFail subreddit has since amassed over 1.4 million active members. The forum has unofficially existed as an external hub for Twitch for years, with users posting clips daily from their favorite streamers. While the site has been criticized in the past for fueling drama culture on Twitch, it’s also helped give exposure to channels from Mizkif to even Felix ‘xQc‘ Lengyel. However, according to YouTuber Ludwig Ahgren, the website no longer benefits streamers and is actually toxic for the industry. Ludwig explains why LivestreamFail is bad for streaming In his February 17 upload, Ludwig claimed streamers have put too much emphasis on the importance of what is being said on the LSF forum. “I’ve seen first hand the emphasis that streamers put on this website. Multiple huge streamers pull out their phone to look at LivestreamFail to see what juicy gossip is being pushed. It’s toxic to look at this generally not useful discourse,” he said. Ahgren hit out at the subreddit, calling it a gathering ground for toxicity. “LivestreamFail has again and again proved to be a vat of negativity. And it honestly took me switching to YouTube to recognize how small, tiny, and insignificant LivestreamFails and even my own community is in the grand scheme of things,” he continued. The streamer then showed a graphic to show just how small his own channel is in the grand scheme of all existing content creators and exclaimed, “I’m this small and LivestreamFail is half the size of my community, yet it has the weight of like PewDiePie’s influence times 10! It seems to have become the dominant discourse in streaming.” The Mogul Money creator told viewers that he thinks the problem stems from streamers not having a place to actually gauge what viewers are actually thinking, and as a result, the popular subreddit ends up shaping so much of the discourse. Ahgren also pointed out that the forum has shifted away from just posting clips from channels and is now focused on gossip and news. “It’s not really fails anymore or great funny clips. It’s mostly about news revolving around streamers. It’s less livestream fails and more select dozen of streamers we enjoy media tabloid.” While Ludwig acknowledged that he benefited from the subreddit early on in his career, he argued that the early exposure pales in comparison to the negatives the forum brings channels beyond that.

Ludwig explains why so many streamers are moving from Twitch to YouTube – Dexerto
Ludwig explains why so many streamers are moving from Twitch to YouTube YouTube: Mogul MailPopular streamer Ludwig ‘Ludwig’ Ahgren has shared his reasons why he believes so many creators are changing from Twitch to YouTube. Ludwig sent shockwaves across the community in November 2021 when announced he was leaving Twitch for YouTube. However, numerous content creators have followed in his footsteps and have similarly made the big switch, with LilyPichu and Myth being the latest names added to the growing list. Having bared the torch for many of his friends to make the move, Ludwig has revealed why he thinks more creators are moving to YouTube and gave them a heads-up about the problems they could find streaming on the Google-owned platform. Ludwig “excited” for new YouTube streamers Speaking on July 12 via his Mogul Mail channel, Ludwig congratulated LilyPichu and Myth for joining him on YouTube. He added that he was particularly eager to see what happens next for Myth as he had spoken to him in the leadup to his announcement. He claimed that since he started, the platform has made a number of changes to make the streaming process easier for creators, including a better way to read chat. Not to mention, it enables particularly “creative” streamers to let loose and produce “cool” content. However, he warned that there are some problems that YouTube still needs to iron out. For example, he said that making thumbnails for his streams “f**king sucks.” Ludwig added that the main reason why streamers such as Mizkif, xQc, and Hasan wouldn’t make the switch is due to the site’s rules over copyrighted material. The YouTuber himself was suspended numerous times from the platform following on from his move due to copyright problems. He added that Twitch is still at the top of the board as the best streaming platform, but he believes that in “5 years” YouTube will become “a real threat to Twitch.” It’s still only rumored which streamers will next be moving to YouTube. However, Disguised Toast previously claimed that “a least” 5 more are in the running.

Ludwig explains why he’d be scared to fight Sykkuno in a boxing match – Dexerto
Ludwig explains why he’d be scared to fight Sykkuno in a boxing match Joseph Correa, FrontProof Media / YouTube: Ludwig / Twitch: sykkunoStreaming star Ludwig Ahgren made a tier list of all the influencers he’d be able to beat in the boxing ring… but he’s a bit too intimidated to risk taking on Sykkuno. The influencer boxing bug is at an all-time high. First sparked by Logan Paul and KSI back in 2018, the trend has seen a slew of YouTubers, streamers, and more take their rivalries to the ring over the ensuing years. Creator Clash — a charity boxing event organized by YouTube star ‘iDubbbz’ — has also played a major role in its resurfacing since the global health crisis in 2020, prompting a slew of influencers to take an interest in boxing. It looks like Ludwig is also hopping on the combat sports hype train… if only to make a tier list of probable matchups he would either win, lose, or refuse altogether. Ludwig had a few stars he was sure he’d beat in the ring, including names like Ninja, Valkyrae, shroud, and doublelift — but he wasn’t so confident he’d be able to knock out Twitch star Sykkuno. Despite the size difference between them in Ludwig’s favor, the YouTube streaming star couldn’t help but envision a scenario where the usually timid Sykkuno put in the work to become a monstrous opponent. “Objectively, by all measures of fighting, I should be able to physically kill Sykkuno in the ring,” Ludwig began. “Speaking freely, he cannot fight. He has never worked out. I am strong.” “Having said that, I don’t think I could fight him,” he continued. “I don’t think I could ever punch him. I also feel like there’s this possibility… you know how Sykkuno does this thing where I’ll play a game with him, and all the sudden, even though he’s never played that game before, he’ll show up and be better than me? He would do the same thing with boxing.” Ludwig went on to imitate Sykkuno’s easy going demeanor in such a situation after “two days” of practicing to become a boxing savant…. Before ultimately “rocking [his] sh*t,” of course. Although it’s unlikely we’ll ever see this matchup happen for real, it’s certainly a hilarious thing to think about. Who knows — maybe we’ll see these two at Creator Clash 2 next year.

Ludwig explains why he’s ‘jealous’ of MoistCr1TiKaL’s YouTube content – Dexerto
Ludwig explains why he’s ‘jealous’ of MoistCr1TiKaL’s YouTube content Twitch: Ludwig / YouTube: penguinz0Twitch streamer Ludwig Ahgren has explained how the ‘relaxed’ way Charlie ‘MoistCr1TiKaL’ White runs his YouTube channel is something he wishes he could emulate. Ludwig is one of the most successful content creators in the world in his own right, blowing up on Twitch especially in 2021. After taking the platform by storm with his 31-day subathon, he, along with other content creators, has put together some of the most innovative content on Twitch, including some slightly embarrassing couples games and hilarious roasts. But Ludwig explained on stream why he’s slightly jealous of the more carefree style of creators like Cr1tikal, and showed off an incredible impersonation. “Charlie’s YouTube is such a sick anomaly,” he said, before showing viewers his best Cr1tikal impression. “He just gets out of bed and he just turns on the camera for like six minutes and he’s just like, ‘Today we’re going to talk about how much I hate the patties at Burger King. Obviously Burger King’s been around for 20 years and it kind of tastes like Satan took a s*** in a patty.’ And that’s it, he just does that. [Then there’s] me over here just stressed out, the virgin. ‘Ok we need to plan this content piece. It’s going to take an hour to stream and then we’ll condense it in about a twenty-minute format on YouTube.’” Ludwig then added another flawless impression of Cr1tikal, as he compared the two approaches with another mundane speech. He said: “‘So, I bought cookies the other day and it says dark chocolate but I found out that when you bite into it, it’s milk chocolate. “‘Now I’m not going to say that dark chocolate’s bad, but it kind of tastes like a better version of my p*ss.’ Eight times my views.” It’s fair to say Ludwig’s impression wasn’t quite as clean as Ali ‘Myth’ Kabbani’s legendary impersonation of Felix ‘xQc’ Lengyell, but it certainly wasn’t terrible. And regardless of Cr1tikal’s YouTube success, Ludwig can have comfort that his Twitch sub record will likely not be beaten by him anytime soon.

Ludwig explains why he slashed price of his YouTube channel memberships – Dexerto
Ludwig explains why he slashed price of his YouTube channel memberships YouTube: Mogul MailYouTuber Ludwig Ahgren has revealed the reasoning behind slashing the price of his YouTube channel memberships two weeks after lowering them to just one dollar. One of the features of YouTube Gaming is the ability to change the price of your channel memberships to whatever you prefer, between $0.99 and $99.99. Ludwig announced on May 26, 2022, that he had slashed his price to the least possible amount he can charge (although he has to keep gifted memberships at $4.99). This prompted Twitch streamers to call on the Amazon-owned platform to create a similar structure for their subs. Now, the popular YouTuber has explained exactly why he decided to slash the price for his memberships in a recent video. Ludwig explains why he lowered YouTube membership price In his recent Mogul Mail video, Ludwig shared his thoughts on Twitch subathons before simply saying that he would never run a ‘memberthon’ on YouTube because it’s “boring.” “In fact, I just changed the price of all my subscribers from five dollars to one dollar,” Ahgren explained. “Which is like the lowest you can make it because I think it’s still cool when people have badges and cool emotes and they can feel a part of the community. “But, I don’t want to be viewer funded anymore, you know what I mean? I feel like this is where I should be taking all the money from corporations instead of from the average person who isn’t making as much as I am. I don’t know why I should be the reverse robin hood.” (Topic starts at 5:21 in the video) Ludwig also gave a PSA to members of his community, because over 6,000 of them are still paying the $4.99 price for gifted memberships to his channel. This is likely because they were gifted subs that were set to renew every month after the gift, which retained their gifted sub price. For more entertainment news, head over to our hub.

Ludwig explains why he thinks Club Penguin Rewritten shutdown was “overkill” – Dexerto
Ludwig explains why he thinks Club Penguin Rewritten shutdown was “overkill” YouTube: Mogul Mail/Club PenguinLudwig Ahgren has explained why he thinks Disney shutting down Club Penguin Rewritten was “overkill,” and detailed a couple of the theories surrounding the takedown that are taking over the internet. Club Penguin was the first online RPG many people would play as they joined the internet in the early 2000s. However, Disney purchased the game in 2007 and it ultimately was shut down in 2017. Fans quickly launched Club Penguin Rewritten as a way to keep the game going until April 13 when it was announced that they received a request from Disney to cease operations immediately due to copyright infringement. Now, Ludwig has explained why he thinks the shutdown was “overkill,” and went over a couple of the theories surrounding it that are taking over the internet. Ludwig explains “overkill” Club Penguin Rewritten shutdown In a video uploaded on April 13, Ahgren spoke about his former love for ToonTown, a game similar to Club Penguin but with a wider variety of characters available to play with. He then changed the topic to the recent takedown of Club Penguin Rewritten. As he opened the site, he read the disclaimer from the City of London Police that explained it had been “taken over” by the Police Intellectual Property Crime Unit. “This is like what happens when there’s a drug bust… it’s not for a children’s game,” Ludwig explained. “It’s overkill!” (Topic starts at 2:24 in the video) The YouTube star went on to detail a couple of theories surrounding the sudden takedown, including one that involves the fact they’ve recently sold ads to monetize the project. “Club Penguin Rewritten staff were making money off the website… they were making money so maybe Disney was mad that they were making money,” he explained. “Disney has this weird thing that even if they’re not dipping their hand into their own cookie jar, nobody else can.” At the time of writing, the website is still offline and the Discord has been entirely cleared out except for one message announcing the shutdown. We’ll be sure to keep you updated with new happenings as they become available.

Ludwig explains why he changed how his name is pronounced – Dexerto
Ludwig explains why he changed how his name is pronounced LudwigYouTube star Ludwig Ahgren opened up about why he changed how his name is pronounced at a young age. Ludwig is one of the biggest YouTubers on the platform, gaining popularity initially on Twitch by creating some of the most creative videos and live broadcasts on the entire site. Having grown a channel with over 3.6 million followers now on YouTube, Ludwig has become a household name on the platform, but according to him, that name was actually once pronounced differently. Ludwig says he changed how his name is pronounced The 27-year-old content creator was interviewed by Anthony Padilla when he opened up about why he changed the pronunciation of his name in the second grade. “I f*cking up my own name. It’s Lewd-vig. That’s how you say it. I bastardized it.” He continued, “My mom calls me ‘oud-vig.’ She’s French, so she has a French accent. When I went to school, let me tell you, those second graders don’t love the name ‘oud-vig.’ When I showed up and got some handmade, French meal and I open it up and it stinks up the classroom when everyone else got PB&J, and I’m the ‘oud-vig’ guy, you get ostracized pretty quick.” He went on to say how he had to “adapt pretty quick” as a child, so he changed the way his name sounds and started going to school with PB&Js for lunch instead of French sandwiches. While many of his fans know him now as Ludwig, his mom still calls him by the proper pronunciation of his name.

Ludwig explains why he left Twitch in shock YouTube move – Dexerto
Ludwig explains why he left Twitch in shock YouTube move YouTube: Mogul MailStreaming star Ludwig ‘Ludwig’ Ahgren stunned the internet when he revealed that he’d be swapping Twitch for YouTube after three years. Now, he’s explained his reasons behind the move. Over the last few years, it’s become pretty commonplace to see streamers swapping platforms in big-money deals. On November 29, Ludwig – who had been with Twitch for three years – dropped a bombshell that not many saw coming, as he revealed that he’d be swapping the Amazon-owned platform for YouTube. With Ludwig being so attached to Twitch, the move genuinely stunned many fans, who quickly quipped about how much money he’d be making. However, that’s not his only reason for the move – even if he is getting a big deal from YouTube. Ludwig explains his YouTube switch In his ‘Why I left Twitch’ explanation, the streaming star noted that he was initially using YouTube as leverage for his next Twitch contract. “I’m a Twitch guy, there are people out there who think of Twitch and think of me,” he said. “When I think of my own identity, I think of Twitch!” However, as he held more talks and thought about it, YouTube just started to make more sense, but he wasn’t entirely sure. “Like, I love streaming,” Ludwig added. “But what actually makes me the happiest is just making dope s**t, making things that I think are cool – and hopefully some others do too. Things like Mogul Money, things like the Christmas album, the kickball tournament.” He ended up using a coin flip to aid his decision – and the coin landed in favor of Twitch. Though, as he let YouTube know he’d be staying with Twitch, they “fought” for him. “And I realized, in that moment, that even though I’ve been with Twitch for three-plus years, even though people have called me the ‘golden boy’ of Twitch, I’ve never felt particularly loved by Twitch. I love Twitch, but it hasn’t been a two-way street,” he added, noting YouTube even reduced the required amount of hours he’d have to stream per month, which gives him more time to do the “cool s**t” he wants to do. Ludwig acknowledged that he had fear over the move as it’s “scary,” but it’s not like he’s joining a start-up. He’s headed to the “biggest website in the world for posting content.” While some streamers who have swapped Twitch for YouTube have complained about certain features – mainly the chat and directory – Ludwig has even got an extension viewers can use to feel a bit more comfortable, and bring their Twitch name over to YouTube if they haven’t already. He kickstarts his new journey on November 30th and fans will eagerly await what else comes from the move, especially as he plans to ramp up his other projects like The Yard and Mogul Money game show.

Ludwig explains how YouTube break will help him plan new content – Dexerto
Ludwig explains how YouTube break will help him plan new content YouTube: Mogul MailYouTuber Ludwig ‘Ludwig’ Ahgren has announced that he’s taking a break from streaming to go “traveling.” However, much to the relief of his fans, it won’t be for too long. Being a streamer certainly has its benefits. However, trying to produce original content to keep fans entertained can be draining at times. So, taking a break from the camera really can help get the creative juices flowing for streamers struggling to come up with fresh ideas that’ll pull in the views. Popular YouTuber Ludwig has now announced that he’s about to go on a well-earned holiday. During which he’ll be able to think up some “good stream ideas.” Ludwig taking stream break to go traveling On June 17, Ludwig revealed via Twitter that he was taking a week-long trip away to go “traveling.” As a result, there won’t be any livestreams during his absence. He also posted a picture of his pet cat Coots in his suitcase joking that he’d made sure to pack his “content.” It comes after the kitten helped Ludwig finally average 1 million views on YouTube. I’m traveling all week so no streams for a while Don’t worry I packed my content pic.twitter.com/jB2SJZ9o7G — ludwig (@LudwigAhgren) June 17, 2022 Speaking during his livestream before his trip, Ludwig said that he was “looking forward” to spending some time away. He claimed that in recent times, he’s been struggling to think up new content. “I feel like I’ve been dead ass out of content,” Ludwig said. “So, I feel like a week off of streaming I’ll be able to mull over some good stream ideas.” He also claimed it is becoming increasingly difficult to come up with new ideas for content because his fellow creators are “doing the same sh*t they’ve been doing for the past 12 months.” Ludwig may have been struggling to come up with new ideas for his livestreams in recent times. However, hopefully, his time away from the camera will do just the trick.

Ludwig explains the problem with sponsored gambling streams after Adin Ross leaks deal – Dexerto
Ludwig explains the problem with sponsored gambling streams after Adin Ross leaks deal Twitch: Ludwig / Instagram: adinrossTwitch streamer Ludwig has revealed what he thinks one of the “problematic” parts of sponsored gambling streams is after Adin Ross accidentally leaked his earnings while live on stream. Adin Ross and Ludwig bumped heads in May when Adin slammed Ludwig and his friends for “disrespecting” his viewers during a live stream, calling them “unfunny streamers” and claiming that only “fat, pimple-faced four-eyed people with social problems” watched them. Although Ludwig reached out privately to try and diffuse the situation, the drama continued after many claimed Adin ‘almost’ called him a homophobic slur, and floods of hate started to pour into Ludwig’s stream. In a June 9 Twitch stream, Adin managed to accidentally leak some private messages with ‘Duelbits’ that suggested his group was getting paid around $1.6 million for gambling streams, which stunned many fans. Now in his June 18 stream, Ludwig has shared what he thinks one of the key issues with some gambling streams are. “I think gambling as a whole is fine,” he said, “I think what can be problematic is sponsored gambling streams where it’s perceived that the person is gambling their own money, but they’re instead gambling money they were paid for.” “Didn’t Adin Ross’s contract get leaked and he was said to have been paid like $1.6 million across all of his friends to gamble? Which is crazy, that’s f**king nuts that he’s making that amount of money, and the reason he’s making that amount of money is one, because he has a giant user base, but two, because the casinos plan to make it back.” Ludwig then reminded viewers that he himself is also sponsored by Americas Cardroom for poker, and that he’s sponsored to gamble on stream, but that any blackjack he does is always his own money. “It’s not beef, I mean I think it’s fine, I am literally also sponsored to gamble on stream, I play poker for money,” he said. It doesn’t seem as though Ludwig is looking to reignite any drama with Adin, but it goes to show how many streamers are getting sponsored to gamble while live on stream.

Ludwig explains how his Streamer Awards victory over xQc was a “bummer” – Dexerto
Ludwig explains how his Streamer Awards victory over xQc was a “bummer” YouTube: Mogul Mail / The Streamer AwardsYouTuber Ludwig opened up about how his Streamer of the Year win at The Streamer Awards had become a distraction. The 26-year-old called the “shock” around him winning over xQc a “bummer.” The first-ever Streamer Awards was held in Los Angeles, CA on March 12. The event, hosted by QTCinderella, honored the live content creators who had the largest impact on their industry over the last year. Some viewers were shocked when Ludwig Ahgren took home the biggest prize over Felix ‘xQc’ Lengyel. The former Smash pro revealed he feels that the debate around his win has started to take away from the ceremony. Ludwig reacts to the controversy around Streamer of the Year win During the red carpet pre-show, many streamers had predicted that xQc would take home the top prize. Even Ahgren gave himself a 2% chance to win. Viewers were shocked then when he was announced as Streamer of the Year. Some users even became angry and took to social media to claim the award was “rigged.” The creator addressed the backlash in a March 13 YouTube video and revealed how the discourse was disappointing. “If there is one thing I regret, it is that there is a little discourse distracting from how cool the Streamer Awards was because people were so shocked I had won at the end. Which is a bummer,” he said. He stated that viewers should instead focus on how much work QTCinderella put into pulling off the event. “The only thing people should be talking about is how f**king amazing the award show was,” he said. Ludwig also revealed that he was content with his victory. “The only reason I won was because it was fan-voted. And I think that’s cool,” he continued. “I feel good that I’m able to win because more people who liked me voted for me. That’s all it comes down to. So thank you, guys. I appreciate you so much.” The Mogul Money creator concluded his take on the show by praising xQc: “I’ll never be like xQc, a gaming warlord streaming 18 hours a day and keeping his levels of energy. I thought I would lose to X. And I told Lengyel that he could have won this as well.”

Ludwig explains how Twitch’s branded content issues “still stand” due to Terms of Service clause – Dexerto
Ludwig explains how Twitch’s branded content issues “still stand” due to Terms of Service clause YouTube: LudwigYouTuber and well-known content creator Ludwig has thrown in his two cents about the recent Twitch controversy surrounding changes to Branded Content, with the YouTuber pointing out that not much has really been updated in the guidelines after all the backlash. On June 6, 2023, Twitch revealed new branded content guidelines that were seemingly set up to help the platform control how streamers advertise sponsorships. This change was likely to severely impact charity and esports streams, in particular, but still have far-reaching implications for every individual streamer too. It was quickly met with backlash, with Asmongold calling for a boycott while his org OTK Network threatened to leave the platform altogether. Twitch issued an apology just hours later but has now removed the guidelines from the website entirely. Following this, many big-name content creators from Twitch and other various streaming platforms have reacted to the news. Youtube’s Ludwig slamming the platform for the way in which their own “goals” are overtaking their duty of care and support of their content creators. In his most recent YouTube video, “Twitch Fixed Everything…Almost”, Ludwig broke down the Twitch controversy while also offering up his thought and opinions on the matter since the platform backflipped. “Basically, everything that was in the article yesterday still stands,” Ludwig began. His reasoning is due to the current wording found in the Twitch Terms of Service, specifically under the Advertisements clause. “Twitch has the exclusive rights to monetize the Twitch Services, including without limitation, the exclusive right to sell, serve, and display advertisements on the Twitch Services. This means you may not, nor may you allow a third party to, insert or embed prerecorded advertising units into your live stream, including without limitation video advertisements and audio advertisements.” This particular clause effectively still achieves similar goals to the now-scrapped branded content guidelines. “Why did they include this in their terms of service?” Ludwig asked. “Well, the reason is they had a goal. No one knows what the goal is. There are some theories out there. I talked to Hasan and we both have our theories.” Ludwig comments on recent Twitch Branded Content controversy Ludwig then continued on, stating how “the article wasn’t wrong, it was just interpreted to be the most severe version of it where they are going for everybody. And I guess technically with this language they could still go for the average streamer.” However, Ludwig then reassured his audiences that, “I think that is not their goal with it and I don’t think they will do that.” For now, logos are allowed to be bigger than 3% of your screen size again, and banner ads are allowed on Twitch as they were before. But with this clause in the Terms of Service, video and audio ads are still somewhat restricted. The YouTuber then finally commented on how, while Twitch did rectify the mistake, they didn’t do so without a few issues still arising, in his eyes. “It is good that they backpedaled and they clarified that they are now coming for creator’s pay. It is bad that they snuck in a provision to the terms of service that stops creators from growing on Twitch and other websites while making no money from Twitch anyway so I don’t know why it would matter.” Want a full breakdown of the recent Twitch controversy? Ludwig explains hardest part of filming videos with MrBeast – Dexerto
Ludwig explains hardest part of filming videos with MrBeast YouTube: Mogul Mail/ MrBeastStreamer Ludwig Ahgren admitted that he had a rather “hard” time filming a video for his friend and YouTube star Jimmy ‘MrBeast’ Donaldson. As two popular YouTube creators, it seemed only natural that a friendship would bloom between MrBeast and Ludwig. Just some of the hilarious moments between the two included when MrBeast went to extreme measures to include Ludwig in his video and then when MrBeast pulled in an amazing poker win against the 27-year-old. However, it’s not always as fun as it looks as Ludwig explained. According to him, a particularly “weird” MrBeast video filmed in Panama proved to be a tough one. Ludwig describes “weird” experience filming MrBeast video On September 9, Ludwig was speaking with fellow podcasters on The Yard when he opened up about what really happens behind the scenes of a MrBeast video. “I went to Panama, I filmed my third MrBeast video, that was awkward,” he claimed. “It’s just hard to film a video like that.” Being careful not to give away any spoilers, he explained that the filming process required “24 hours of living” only for all that time to be used for “90 seconds of the video.” (Topic begins at 29:30 in the video) As his friends bombarded with questions about the filming process, he added: “You have to kind of be weirdly on for a stretch when any moment could be used because they are like constantly filming.” The latest MrBeast video that Ludwig appeared in as of writing was posted on August 20 and involved Ludwig and a group of other creators trying to survive and function in the middle of a forest after being in a ‘plane crash.’ The group had to wait a whole 31 hours before help came to ‘rescue’ them. Although filming in Panama with MrBeast was a “weird” experience for Ludwig, his friendship with his fellow YouTuber certainly has brought him some memorable moments.

Ludwig explains how he got “alone time” with QTCinderella during subathon – Dexerto
Ludwig explains how he got “alone time” with QTCinderella during subathon Instagram: LudwigDuring the latest CouRage and Nadeshot Show, Ludwig revealed exactly how he managed to get some alone time with his girlfriend during the subathon. When it comes to notable moments in Twitch’s history, Ludwig’s subathon will certainly be on the list. The online personality live-streamed for 31 days nonstop, gaining over 282,000 subscribers in total. Not only did this result in an unbelievable amount of money for Ludwig, but it also broke the all-time most subscribed streamer record. Of course, during this period, Ludwig had very little time for himself as the vast majority of his time was spent on camera. As he has a girlfriend, QTCinderella, a lot of his fans were wondering how and when he got any privacy with her. Well, during the CouRage and Nadeshot podcast, Ludwig revealed how he managed to get some “alone time” with his girlfriend. Ludwig reveals how he got “alone time” with his girlfriend Although Ludwig achieved an incredible amount with his subathon, he did have to sacrifice a lot of his privacy. During the podcast, Nadeshot expressed that “everyone has needs” and asked Ludwig how he got any privacy with his girlfriend. Ludwig’s response revealed that he may have had more time to himself than it first appeared. “We’ll not get into the nitty-gritty of it… but I would throw on a video for like an hour when I would go shower, I had alone time, I did, the stream was running.” It’s clear Ludwig had to schedule breaks at certain points to give himself a little time away from the camera. After weeks of non-stop streaming, anyone would need an hour occasionally to take some time to themselves. Topic starts at 9:50 Despite all of the success gained from his subathon, Ludwig has already revealed why he’s never going to do another again. It’s obvious he believes that a second time around wouldn’t be as special and would likely not be as popular with his fans. Ludwig embarrassed after finding YouTube comment he made 10 years ago – Dexerto
Ludwig embarrassed after finding YouTube comment he made 10 years ago YouTube: LudwigTwitch streamer Ludwig Ahgren became pretty embarrassed on stream after he stumbled upon a 10-year-old YouTube comment made when he was still in high school. Since YouTube’s launch in 2005, its became the top website for all kinds of creative videos from a wide variety of people. Some of the early adopters on the platform include PewDiePie, Rhett and Link, and the hilarious ‘Epic Rap Battles of History.’ Epic Rap Battles started in 2006 by comedy duo Nice Peter & epicLLOYD, and since then they have featured over 80 fictional and historical characters in their own hand-written rap battle videos. In Ludwig’s case, however, the channel holds an embarrassing comment the creator made 10 years ago asking for a “troll” musician mashup. Ludwig discovers teenage comment During his November 16 stream, Ludwig was checking out past Rap Battle videos when he stumbled upon a comment he made when he was just 16-years-old. Just after watching an ERB of Dr Seuss vs Shakespeare, the streamer realized he had left a comment. His comment said: “Rick Astley vs Rebecca Black. The world’s worst, most troll-friendly song.” After scrolling down to the comment, Ahgren exploded in laugher and said: “No way, that’s so embarrassing! I can’t believe that exists. Why is that the first thing they show? I don’t wanna see that!” While still embarrassed about finding the now 10-year-old comment, the Twitch streamer stood firm on his recommendation. He added: “That’s actually a good one, that’s a good idea” Read More: Who is Sophia Nur? LA ‘publicist’ allegedly scammed influencers & faked Jack Harlow pregnancy – Rick Astley gained popularity on the internet with his song “Never gonna give you up,” which turned into a meme called the “Rick Roll” while Rebecca Black had her rise to fame with the song “Friday.” While Epic Rap Battles of History doesn’t upload new videos as much as other long-time creators, their channel still gets plenty of attention on the platform.

Ludwig explains biggest mistake he’s made with YouTube streams – Dexerto
Ludwig explains biggest mistake he’s made with YouTube streams YouTube streamer Ludwig has explained the biggest mistake he made with his streams after switching to the platform from Twitch. Last year, Ludwig made a shocking move that nobody predicted. Despite being the most subscribed streamer ever on Twitch, the 27-year-old jumped ship to YouTube — signing an exclusive streaming deal. Ludwig has grown his audience massively since the switch, gaining millions of new subscribers to his YouTube channels. However, as it turns out it wasn’t till recently he learned how to stream properly on the platform. Ludwig describes early streaming mistakes on YouTube During a recent episode of ‘The Iced Coffee Hour’ podcast, host Graham Stephan asked Ludwig about his move to YouTube last year, where he revealed he’s only recently started to figure things out. “I discovered recently that I don’t know how to stream on YouTube,” he admitted. “I just figured it out this week because the entire time for the first 8 months I’d been streaming as if I was on Twitch.” Ludwig continued to explain the key differences between the two platforms: “The way that you stream on Twitch is you just have the most viewers in a certain game category and then you stay live for a really long time,” he said. “You’ll build up a lot of dead viewers, people who just have you on their second monitor, they leave to work, go to bed or whatever and then you’ll stay higher in the category and people always click at the top. And you’ll just grow and grow and grow. “Doesn’t work like that on YouTube, or TikTok,” he stated. “There are no categories, you don’t go to a game you like and watch that game. You’re fed a stream based on what the algorithm thinks you’ll like. And so it’s much more important to create a stream that has really good watch time and has a sense of urgency that makes people stick around.” While he claims he’s only recently figured out the secret behind the platform, evidently it doesn’t exactly matter. Regardless, the streaming star has still managed to grow multiple businesses off the back of his streaming which earns him a staggering $25,000 a day.

Ludwig is doing another marathon stream, but don’t call it a “subathon” – Dexerto
Ludwig is doing another marathon stream, but don’t call it a “subathon” YouTube: LudwigLudwig Ahgren is bringing back the uncapped marathon stream that shot him to stardom in March 2021 — but don’t call it a “subathon”. This time the streamer is doing it of his own volition, with his own goal of completing Pogostuck 3 in one sitting, and viewers won’t need to pay a dime to keep him up. Subathon was the word on every Twitch streamer’s lips in 2021. Pioneered by Ludwig’s 31-day broadcast which broke subscriber records on the platform, his entire life from gaming to gym to sleeping was documented for a month straight. When he finally went to bed in his red car one last time, he promised fans he’d never do another subathon. Well since moving to YouTube, he’s living up to that promise. Don’t call his latest endeavor a subathon, Ludwig says, but he’s going to be streaming non-stop for days, weeks, or even months starting January 15. “The title of this video was not clickbait: I am going to be doing a marathon stream, I’m thinking. I don’t know how long it’ll go — I’m hoping not a month, I don’t think it’ll go a month,” he said. The special occasion? Ludwig’s nemesis in video game form, Pogostuck, is releasing its third title on January 15, and he wants to beat it in one sitting on launch day. “In the past, Pogostuck games have taken me months to beat. The first game took me 75 hours, the second game took me 55 hours — of gameplay. How do you break up 55 hours of gameplay into a stream? Even if I play 12 hours a day that’s five days of streaming in a row. “I will not hit the stop streaming button until I have beaten the game. This will include, perhaps if I don’t beat it within a day, some sleep streams. Maybe we f**k around and get a modcast going on. Sh*t is about to go down.” However, Ludwig was very clear in saying this stream would not be a subathon. He doesn’t want viewers to pay for membership or superchat him to keep the stream alive like he did across his Twitch broadcast. The related segment begins at 11:58. Instead, he wants to get this wrapped up within a day to really flex his gaming muscles. That doesn’t mean he’s opposed to running it a bit longer to juice the content though. “This is not a subathon. The stream is not contingent on you giving me money to stay up. I don’t want your money. Maybe we’ll have mediashare for the evening time, we’ll probably have movie night, but this is purely based off my gamer skill,” he said. Ludwig’s next marathon stream — not subathon — will kick off on January 15 at 12pm PT, and could last anywhere from a few hours to a few weeks. Whether the sequel will be better than the original remains to be seen.

Ludwig doubles down on controversial The Batman take: “All superhero movies are mid” – Dexerto
Ludwig doubles down on controversial The Batman take: “All superhero movies are mid” YouTube: Mogul Mail / DC / Warner Bros. PicturesPopular YouTuber Ludwig hit back at critics who roasted his The Batman review. The streamer responded to the viral backlash with more criticism of Robert Pattinson’s take on the caped crusader. The former Twitch star kicked off a firestorm on March 6 when he criticized the 2022 film The Batman as not being “fun” like Marvel movies. Following the wave of backlash from viewers, Ludwig Ahgren opened up further about his problems with the movie and defended his review. Ludwig doubles down on The Batman criticism In a video uploaded to his YouTube channel, the 26-year-old streamer further opened up about his criticisms of Matt Reeves’ The Batman. “Can I just speak my s**t? The Batman movie WAS mid,” he said. “All superhero movies ARE mid. Hollywood already solved Batman over a decade ago. The Dark Knight is already the greatest Batman movie of all time.” Ahgren then claimed that Batman films in general have become recycled. “Because it sells tickets if they have the man who’s afraid of bats under the suit, they just keep remaking them! That’s all it is. I feel like people think we have solved all cinema. We have solved all characters as a humanity. We’re done. We’ve peaked. Batman is the greatest. But I feel like that s**t was written 80 years ago and we should probably move on and come up with some new s**t.” While Ludwig called The Batman a “fine” film, he doubled down on his now-viral take. “Look, it’s fine. It’s even a top 5 Batman movie. But it was just not amazing,” he said. “I don’t think we’ve had any superhero film be groundbreaking. The Batman was basically just the movie Seven with Brad Pitt with a worst mystery and a worse payoff. It was just setting up what is probably going to be another goddamn trilogy of goddamn Batman movies.” Ludwig continued his critique by slamming Batman’s storyline as being underwhelming. “The mystery plot BLEW. I’m just like this is the most mid-ass mystery of all time. The Dark Knight had more mystery. The Riddler’s riddles SUCKED!” Read More: How to watch The Streamer Awards on Twitch – The YouTuber addressed Robert Pattinson’s take on the iconic comic hero. “Robert Pattinson was wasted. He’s a great actor. But he was wasted because most of the scenes he was in were just as Batman. Critics would say but you can see the emotions in his eyes. He has such emotion. And I’m like, b**ch no way, he’s just looking!” Ahgren ended his rant by explaining his review was misunderstood. “My take got whittled down that I just wanted it to be like MCU one-liners, jokey jokey. When I more so thought it would be fun to unravel the mystery. But the villain just SUCKED. All of the villains were just dogs**t and were boring,” he said.

Ludwig defends Twitch from the “dumbest reason” people criticize platform – Dexerto
Ludwig defends Twitch from the “dumbest reason” people criticize platform LudwigYouTube streamer Ludwig has defended Twitch from what he called “the dumbest” reason people criticize the streaming site, despite being critical of the Amazon-owned platform himself. From unveiling its new guidelines for branded content to denying all creators a 70/30 subscription revenue split pay due to the “high cost” of running the site, over the past couple of months Twitch has faced a series of clashes from the streaming community. While the Amazon-owned platform has since reversed several changes, notably going back on its new guidelines for branded content and more recently introducing the Partner Plus program, top talent has begun jumping ship amid the rise of rival streaming platform Kick. However, while many continue to slam Twitch for various reasons, YouTube streamer Ludwig has jumped to the platform’s defense for once, hitting back at those putting the site on blast for perceived favoritism. Ludwig defends Twitch after backlash for “dumbest reason” As the community continues to debate which platform is the best for streamers, YouTuber ‘WillyMacShow’ has labeled Twitch as the worst, arguing that the site’s favoritism for Pokimane is the reason why. “Twitch is literally the worst site of the three. They ban people just because Pokimane doesn’t like them. Site sucks,” they said. However, Ludwig, who was once the biggest creator on Twitch before signing an exclusive deal with YouTube in 2021, has jumped to the platform’s defense for the “dumb” take. “Of the hundreds of terrible things you could meaningfully criticize Twitch for I think you said the dumbest reason possible,” Ludwig wrote. Although several fans have claimed the criticism is valid, Ludwig continued to stand his ground, giving several other reasons why users could have a distaste towards Twitch. “Twitch has zero ability to grow new creators Creators grow through Reddit, YT, TikTok, and bring people to Twitch and all of Twitch’s new product features are to extract more money out of viewers while simultaneously paying streamers less,” he said. While many agreed there are more pressing issues, WillyMacShow hit back, making note of the JiDion controversy in early 2022, where the streamer was permanently banned from the platform after sending a hate raid to Pokimane. This action was in violation of Twitch’s community guidelines, however.

Ludwig calls Depp-Heard defamation case “the juiciest trial I’ve seen” – Dexerto
Ludwig calls Depp-Heard defamation case “the juiciest trial I’ve seen” YouTube: Law & Crime Network / YouTube: LudwigOne of the faces of YouTube streaming, Ludwig, has chimed in on the Johnny Depp vs Amber Heard defamation trial which has gripped the world, calling the proceedings “the juiciest trial” he’s seen. The publicly-available defamation case between Johnny Depp and Amber Heard has gripped the internet, Ludwig included. In fact, it’s captivated the YouTube star so much that he “woke up at 7am…heart racing” for the proceedings. “I was like ‘dude I really wanna watch the Johnny Depp and Amber Heard trial’,” he said on an April 26 broadcast. However, he couldn’t help but compare some of the drama happening in the courtroom to instances of streaming controversy over the last couple of years. Right off the bat, Ludwig compared the heightened drama between Depp and Heard to Mizkif’s game show, Schooled: “I guess it is a Mizkif video, cause she did cheat.” He was also dismayed by allegations of Heard’s conduct during the relationship, which have been widely publicized. “Gotta give respect to Amber Heard for one thing, and one thing only: having the balls to sh*t on a pillow. Not sh*tting in a toilet is genuinely so hard. “Do you know the number of times I’ve walked past Slime’s pillow and thought about sh*tting on it?” Ludwig did defend himself from some critics though, who thought he was making too much entertainment out of the allegations. “We can say funny [things] cause this is not an abuse case, it is a defamation case,” he said. Some have labeled the case as “the trial of the century”. Ahgren has argued against the validity of the title for now: “How’re they gonna call it trial of the century when there’s 80 years left?” However, he conceded the trial had gripped him like none other. “This is the juiciest trial I’ve seen since my frontal cortex developed and I could understand people. I was alive when OJ Simpson happened, but I don’t remember it.” As for who Ludwig thinks is winning in the court of public opinion? The streamer is firmly in the Depp camp for now. “Right now Johnny seems up, but for sure Amber’s team scales so they wanna close this earlier rather than later,” throwing in a bit of gaming terminology to wrap it up.

Ludwig defends the most bullied creator on TikTok: “Its gone too far” – Dexerto
Ludwig defends the most bullied creator on TikTok: “Its gone too far” Youtube, @Ludwig / TikTok, @BentellectLudwig has moved to defend one of the most bullied TikTokers around, Bentellect, saying that it’s all gone too far. If you’re on TikTok, you’ve probably seen some sort of bullying or even just friendly banter going on between different creators. If you’re not on TikTok, you’ve likely seen something similar on just about every other social media platform. In the case of Bentellect – a creator on TikTok with over 8.2 million followers who’s known for his over-reaction to “meme” tweets – he has faced some harsh online bullying in recent times, prompting some of the biggest creators around to respond. During a YouTube video from Ludwig, on August 11, the YouTuber shines a light on the TikTok creator. He claims that reactions to Bentellect’s videos are getting out of hand, with video replies including screenshots from horror movies paired with deep voice filtered phrases along the lines of “I’m in your closet” and “I can hear your heartbeat”. Ludwig reacts to Bentellect TikTok bullying In his August 11 upload to YouTube, titled “The most bullied man on Tik Tok…,” Ludwig starts off by saying: “History remembers the day that Ludwig bullied Dream, but now it’s gone too far.” The YouTuber, referencing the time he bullied Dream – a masked Twitch streamer – into revealing his identity. Going on in his video, he explains that he keeps seeing negative posts directed at a single TikTok creator named Bentellect. As Ludwig goes on in his video he states that it is not just the TikTok creator’s reaction to the tweets in his videos that catches everyone off guard, it’s how easy it is to make Ben laugh. The YouTuber said: “It’s been interesting to see how people are critiquing Ben regurgitating content” before cutting over to examples of the demonic replies. After showing the replies, Ludwig goes on to question whether or not Bentellect is actually seeing these replies, and how they may be affecting him. Ludwig then cuts over to a reply video posted by Ben on August 11. In the video, the TikTok creator proceeds to respond to comments like “Look out the Window” and “I’m under your bed Benjamin” without any noticeable reaction before opening his cupboard to reveal a stuffed monster, running away yelling: “sheesh”. Learn more in the video below. Who is Bentellect? On TikTok’s For You Page, it shows a curated feed of videos that may interest you. If you’re wondering why you’ve never heard of this creator before, that may be why. With over 8.2 million followers on the platform, Bentellect still has a fairly wide reach that allows him to show up on the majority of viewers’ pages. The quality of his content raises a few questions: Why does Bentellect react to tweets the way he does? Is his laugh genuine or purposely overdone for reactions? Is the internet doing exactly what he intended? Only Ben knows the honest answers to these questions, but while digging through his TikTok profile we found this video. The video, uploaded August 12 and captioned “secrets out” raises one more major question… Are we all falling for a musician’s marketing scheme?

Ludwig defends EEVisu after cheating controversy in OTK’s Schooled – Dexerto
Ludwig defends EEVisu after cheating controversy in OTK’s Schooled YouTube: Mogul Mail/EEVisuYouTuber Ludwig Ahgren thinks it’s a “bummer” that EEvisu will always be known as a cheater outside of the Smash Bros community after admitting to cheating on the finale of Mizkif’s show Schooled. Just like Ludwig’s former Twitch show ‘Mogul Money,’ Mizkif partnered with sponsors to create his own show ‘Schooled’ in 2021. However, it has been the center of more than one cheating scandal — with the most recent being EEvisu during the Season 2 finale episode on April 25, 2022. It was the final straw for Mizkif, who announced he is done with the series. In a Mogul Mail video, Ludwig explained that he thinks it’s a “bummer” that EEvisu will always be known as a cheater to the community, mentioning he’s “too funny” and “too talented.” Ludwig talks about EEvisu cheating on Schooled Ludwig concluded his video on April 26 with a message directed at EEvisu. In his message, he explained that his situation is similar to Alinity’s cat scandal. “This is so bad because you’re too funny. You’re too sharp… you’re too talented for this to be what people know you as. This is what 100,000 people are going to know you as. As the cheater from Schooled. It’s how it works on the internet. “The pocket that you live in — they don’t care… but your talents reach beyond that in my mind. It’s a bummer that hundreds of thousands of people will never give you an opportunity because you’ll always be just a cheater.” (Topic starts at 12:16) He went on to explain that EEvisu’s situation is similar to how millions of people wouldn’t give Alinity a chance after her viral cat scandal. “It took years, and time hanging around Mizkif for people to give her a chance. However, it took years and it still sticks by her,” he explained. The Twitch streamer apologized for cheating in a video on Twitter, making ExtraEmily the winner of the $50,000 finale episode.

Ludwig defends Logan Paul amid pet pig drama: “Put the pitchforks down” – Dexerto
Ludwig defends Logan Paul amid pet pig drama: “Put the pitchforks down” YouTube: Mogul MailLudwig has defended Logan Paul after a California animal sanctuary posted a video claiming his former pet pig Pearl was found abandoned in a field with injuries. The Gentle Barn animal sanctuary posted a TikTok video on January 9, showing a pig they rescued, claiming it was “purchased originally from a breeder by an influencer” and was found abandoned in a field. Netizens quickly figured out that it was Pearl, Logan Paul‘s pet pig that he purchased back in 2018 and featured in a variety of vlogs and Instagram posts, slamming the YouTuber for abandoning the animal. Logan quickly confirmed that it was in fact Pearl, revealing that he rehomed the pet in 2020 before moving to Puerto Rico and that the ranch he rehomed her to had given the pig to someone else. Ludwig has now chimed in the conversation, defending Logan in a recent Mogul Mail video. Ludwig defends Logan Paul amid Pet Pig drama In a Mogul Mail video on January 10, Ludwig shared his thoughts on Logan Paul’s recent pet pig drama. Despite being critical of Logan’s involvement with CryptoZoo recently, Lud was quick to defend the influencer after Logan posted his side of the pet-pig story. “You know, I feel like it’s okay to put the pitchforks down on this one. Like, if he did rehome to a better spot and then those people did not rehome to a good spot I can understand that,” he explained. “He also did move to Puerto Rico, I don’t know how hard it is to get a pig there. I would say getting a pig at the onset of it all was a bit of a mistake…but he did…But I wouldn’t blame him for what ended up happening.” (Topic starts at 6:40 in video) Ludwig has had a fair share of words for Logan regarding his recent CryptoZoo controversy, calling him “a total narcissist” after his response to CoffeeZilla blew the YouTuber’s redemption trail. Just days ago, Logan Paul apologized to CoffeeZilla for threatening legal action, and promised to take accountability for the CryptoZoo “scam” but nothing has been done or said since.

Ludwig criticizes YouTuber Arab for “unsubstantial” travel content – Dexerto
Ludwig criticizes YouTuber Arab for “unsubstantial” travel content Youtube: LudwigLudwig has criticized YouTuber Arab for his “unsubstantial” content after he came out and poked fun at the gaming industry for being too “politically correct”. The gaming industry has not been in the greatest of spots recently. With layoffs hitting various esports orgs and many pulling their spots from various leagues. And it seems it is attracting discussions from individuals completely outside of the scene. One such individual is YouTuber Arab, a content creator who once made Fortnite videos but pivoted to travel videos. In a recent tweet, Arab criticized the gaming industry as “political correct” and touted this change in direction as being the reason why it’s currently in a downfall. As well as the caption, he then attached a clip of the OTV podcast where DisguisedToast discusses the current state of esports. Ludwig, as a co-owner of an esports org and have been part of the Smash scene for years, called out Arab for giving his thoughts in an industry he had no affiliation in. “You should make an esports team called no pussy liberals where gamers can drink woke-free beer and frag and say slurs in peace it would be so epic” Ludwig wrote sarcastically. To which Arab stated he is “out of gaming”, despite still regularly tweeting about Fortnite, and linked his latest video. Ludwig and Arab trade blows on Twitter over the state of the video game industry To which, Ludwig decided to give some harsh feedback about the video. “The voiceover was rarely additive and could use b-roll rather than just you in a garden. It didn’t feel like there was a message or narrative behind the trip so I don’t know why I’m supposed to keep watching.” He continued, “Also, calling everything content took me out of it – you f***ed up if you have to tell viewers that what [you’re] making is content.” Finally, Ludwig called him on for “grifting on Twitter for likes” rather than spending time improving his content. Arab, in turn, attempted to brush away the feedback and his “grifting on Twitter”, to which Ludwig immediately replied with more criticisms of Arab’s content. “If you compare yourself to a streamer you’re just trying to gas yourself up for the ‘effort’ you put in, compare yourself to successful travel creators (Yes Theory, Ryan Trahan, Stevewilldoit)” he wrote. “You’re also always going to be capped because you pivoted a Fortnite channel into a travel channel, but if you tried to make a banger video it wouldn’t matter at your size” Ludwig ends of his flurry of criticisms, “i’ll leave it at that, anymore tweets and you gotta start paying a consulting fee.” For all the latest entertainment news and updates, be sure to check out Dexerto’s full coverage here.

Ludwig crowned Content Creator of the Year at The Game Awards 2022 – Dexerto
Ludwig crowned Content Creator of the Year at The Game Awards 2022 Twitter: LudwigStreaming star Ludwig ‘Ludwig’ Ahgren scooped up the content creator of the year award at The Game Awards, and it’s safe to say he’s pleased about it. With 2022 coming to a close, and 2023 just around the corner, we’ve hit that part of the calendar where the gaming industry starts celebrating the year that was. There has been an influx of new awards shows over the last few years, some focusing solely on the games, others celebrating streamers and content creators. On the latter, there are usually one or two streamers that lead the way and scoop up most of the awards across a handful of shows. At the Streamys, Twitch star Kai Cenat bagged himself the Streamer of the Year award, while MrBeast scooped up the Creator of the Year award. However, when it came to the Game Awards, neither of them were on the ballot, and it was Ludwig who took home top honors. Ludwig wins Content Creator of the Year at 2022 Game Awards The former Twitch powerhouse, who now streams on YouTube, beat out Karl Jacobs, QTCinderella, Nobru, and Nibellion to grab the prestigious award. He joins the likes of Dream, Valkyrae, and Shroud, who had won the Content Creator of the Year in years previous. Of course, Lud was pretty pleased about it as well, thanking fans for voting for him by taking to social media with a simple message. “Thanks for voting for me,” he tweeted, attaching a PepeSmile meme. Naturally, a number of fans, as well as fellow streamers gave Ludwig props for scooping up the award, claiming it was “well deserved” for what he’s achieved over the last year. Even though he might not have reached the peak of his solo Twitch subathon, Lud has expanded his content with a number of live shows that have involved packed crowds and he got plans for a few more. So, who knows, he might defend that title next year.

Ludwig criticizes Adin Ross for ‘going along’ with controversial Andrew Tate comments – Dexerto
Ludwig criticizes Adin Ross for ‘going along’ with controversial Andrew Tate comments YouTube: Mogul Mail/ Instagram: Adin RossPopular YouTube star Ludwig ‘Ludwig’ Ahgren has hit out at Twitch streamer Adin Ross for not ‘pushing back’ against some of the highly controversial comments made by Andrew Tate during his Twitch stream. Internet personality Andrew Tate is no stranger to controversy. The kickboxing champion has regularly found himself in hot water over his comments, particularly with regards to his beliefs about women. Tate, once again, sparked outrage after appearing on Adin Ross‘ Twitch stream on July 11. As well as various other debatable claims, Tate denied accusations that he is a “misogynist” but rather a “realist” and repeated his view that “on average, females are not as good at driving as men.” Although Ross did provide some statistical evidence to prove otherwise, fellow streamer Ludwig believes he could have done more throughout the interview to argue against Tate’s claims. Ludwig hits out at Andrew Tate over Adin Ross stream On July 19, Ludwig shared his thoughts over Ross’ interview with Tate via his YouTube channel Mogul Mail. While he was highly critical of the “GTA NPC that is Tate”, he also stated Ross did little to dispute Tate’s “gross” claims. “There was kind of a problem with [that stream],” declared Ludwig. “Adin Ross said yes to every single thing Andrew Tate was spitting out, even the sexist sh*t.” He added that due to Tate’s personality and “charismatically told funny stories” it led to him proving to be a hit among Ross’ viewers. However, it also allowed him to drop “a few little sexist remarks” without any backlash from Ross’ fans. Although, Ludwig stated that he understood why Ross didn’t “push back” against Tate given how he was “probably too busy staring at the viewership number.” He then shared how the stream went on to pull in a whopping 266k concurrent viewers at its peak. Ludwig claimed that the majority of Tate’s comments were just “stupid, stupid sh*t.” Yet, he warned that it was a “problem too” as he “takes advantage” of his dedicated fanbase. Ludwig is just the latest name to be added to the long list of streamers who have slammed Tate for his ‘misogynistic’ comments and it’s likely he won’t be the last.

Ludwig criticizes Trainwreck over NFT drama: “We should shame anyone buying NFTs” – Dexerto
Ludwig criticizes Trainwreck over NFT drama: “We should shame anyone buying NFTs” Twitch: Ludwig, trainwreckstvLudwig criticized Trainwreck after he responded to backlash regarding an NFT purchase he posted on Twitter. On November 7, Trainwreck posted on Twitter that he had purchased his first-ever NFT for well over $250,000. However, when a “Minecraft stan” responded to his tweet with apparent disappointment, the creator took it personally. NFTs, or Non-Fungible-Tokens, are collectible assets attached to a single token on a crypto blockchain that give that specific token a special value. Many people argue that mining cryptocurrency is bad for the environment, and the popularity of NFTs is allegedly making the issue worse. While Ludwig was streaming on November 8, he talked about Trainwreck’s recent NFT drama and gave his own opinion on the whole thing. Ludwig criticizes Trainwreck During his normal ‘Just Chatting’ portion of his stream, Ludwig brought up the topic of drama surrounding Trainwreck on Twitter. While talking about an artist that claimed they never got paid by the creator, Ludwig quickly changed the topic to his reaction to the “Minecraft stans” coming after Train for buying an NFT. He explained: “This guy also didn’t stan for Minecraft Twitter at all, I don’t understand why Train did this. This person just said ‘oh train’ in response to him getting an NFT.” Ludwig didn’t stop there, as he went on to explain that he agrees with the fan: “I think we should shame people who buy NFTs. If they are going to post them on Twitter, I fully believe we should arm up and make fun of them for getting an NFT.” “If you’re gonna make me look at your purchases, then I should be allowed to make fun of you,” Ludwig said as he saved the picture for himself. It’s unknown if Train will respond to Ludwig’s criticism, we’ll have to wait and see if anything happens.

Ludwig hit with shock YouTube ban just days after big move – Dexerto
Ludwig hit with shock YouTube ban just days after big move Twitch: LudwigLudwig has been suspended on YouTube just days after leaving his original streaming home Twitch to join the Google-owned giant, with many speculating the shock ban came as a result of DMCA strikes. The 26-year-old has been the talk of the streaming world these past few days, after he signed an exclusive streaming deal with Twitch arch-rivals YouTube. While Ludwig’s first stream went swimmingly, the ever-rising star appears to have hit a roadblock less than 72 hours into his big swap: midway through his December 2 broadcast, Ahgren was slapped with a YouTube suspension, due to “policy violations” from one of his first streams. The star’s channel is still accessible, for now, but he can no longer go live. Ludwig already addressed his YouTube suspension too, with a hilarious response. He joked on Twitter, “You could say the switch has been going well.” you could say the switch has been going well… pic.twitter.com/dnkjSUkT0o — ludwig (@LudwigAhgren) December 3, 2021 More than 20,000 fans were watching the new YouTuber live when he was blindsided by the ban. Ahgren’s first stream was watched by more than 680,000 viewers, and he has raked in over 80k new subscribers since Tuesday’s big reveal, firing his channel to 2.17m in total. At the time of the “policy violation” Ludwig was watching other YouTube videos, reacting to streamer news, and interacting with his fans and chatters. Watch Ludwig’s ban from 1:35:14 in video below (NB: currently disabled). Why was Ludwig banned on YouTube? The star’s December 2 ban has already sparked major speculation, mainly about why he was stripped of streaming privileges. Many are assuming Ludwig over-stepped YouTube’s DMCA line when he played several Cocomelon and Pinkfong children’s music videos, including viral hit “Baby Shark.” The 26-year-old has since confirmed this is indeed the reason behind the ban. “Only two days on YouTube and I got banned from streaming,” he laughed. “What happened was I was trying to look at the top fifty greatest vintage YouTube videos. Along the way, I ended up listening to a few seconds of Baby Shark, which… I won’t dare listen to again. “I’m pretty sure the corporate overlords that own Baby Shark have an iron fist on YouTube, and so they took me down. Not in this car!” “Okay, it looks like DMCA may be a little more of a concern than I originally had imagined,” he continued. “I thought what would happen is because of YouTube’s robust content ID system, they’d flag it, take the monetization from the stream. Baby Shark doesn’t work like that though.” “It is crazy,” he added. “In four years on Twitch, I never got banned.” There has been no confirmation regarding when Ludwig’s ban will end, however. Dexerto will be sure to update readers once we have more details.

Ludwig confirms QTCinderella hospitalised after abruptly ending stream – Dexerto
Ludwig confirms QTCinderella hospitalised after abruptly ending stream Twitch: LudwigTwitch streamer Ludwig has provided an update on his partner QTCinderella, after she ran “full speed” into a glass door, causing a concussion. Fans were concerned on stream when QT suddenly entered Ludwig’s room, seemingly in pain and clutching her face. Ludwig quickly went to see what the problem was, before ending his stream abruptly. “QT just hurt her nose,” Ludwig explained at first. “Don’t worry, nothing to be too alarmed by. Just going to make sure she’s ok.” And Ludwig also had to step in to shut down QT’s own stream, which she had left online after heading out and then hurting herself in the accident. “She’ll be back, we’re just going to make sure she’s good.” What happened to QTCinderella? With fans concerned about QT’s injury, Ludwig later updated them that she had been taken to the emergency room for treatment. “Ended stream early to take QT to the ER… she ran full speed into a glass door LOL,” Ludwig explained. He also included an image of the guilty door itself, complete with what appears to be the mark of impact. https://twitter.com/LudwigAhgren/status/1457934156344684546 Thankfully, the injuries sustained weren’t too serious, but QT did have a “mild” concussion, as well as the injury to her nose, but it’s not broken. QT was also in good spirits, joking that it was 1-0 the glass door. With no major injuries, bot QT and Ludwig should be back to their regular streaming schedules soon. QT will no doubt give an explanation of exactly what happened in her unfortunate battle with the glass door when she’s next live.

Ludwig claims switching from Twitch to YouTube is “noticeably worse” without a deal – Dexerto
Ludwig claims switching from Twitch to YouTube is “noticeably worse” without a deal YouTube: Cold OnesStreaming star Ludwig Ahgren claimed that creators who switch from Twitch to YouTube without signing an exclusive contract are going to have a rough transition. Ludwig made headlines in November 2021 when he signed an exclusive deal to move his stream over from Twitch to YouTube. The 27-year-old’s move was one of the first of a massive wave of talent that YouTube poached from Twitch including creators like Myth, Lilypichu, Valkyrae, and many more. Now, the streamer gave some clarity on the difficulties of making a platform switch without a deal in place. Ludwig on switching from YouTube to Twitch The Mogul Moves host went on the Cold Ones show and talked about the difficulties of swapping over to YouTube from Twitch. He also opened up about an extension he helped create called Truffle.tv which enhances the live viewing experience for both YouTube Live and Twitch viewers. The extension adds predictions, channel raids, and chat name colors, all missing features from YouTube live. “Switching over raw sucks. Like, if you switch over from Twitch to YouTube today, with no bag in hand, it’s a very noticeably worse experience in some aspects. Although YouTube has been poaching streamers left and right from Twitch, the Amazon-owned platform is still the bigger website for live streaming and arguably has a better live viewing experience for fans. For Ludwig, switching over to YouTube wasn’t a hard transition due to his already enormous fan base. However, Ludwig claims it’s going to be much harder for smaller creators to sustain themselves with their audiences unless they have an exclusive contract with YouTube.

Ludwig claims YouTube “sucks” for streaming but has plans to improve – Dexerto
Ludwig claims YouTube “sucks” for streaming but has plans to improve YouTube: LudwigPopular streamer Ludwig ‘Ludwig’ Ahgren has claimed YouTube streaming “sucks” following his move to the platform late last year. But, he’s hopeful it’ll get better and overtake other sites long-term. Ludwig is arguably one of the biggest stars in the streaming world. Beginning his road to success on Twitch in 2018, he would eventually take the platform by storm, becoming the anointed ‘golden boy’ in 2021. However, in late 2021, the 26-year-old creator dropped a bombshell by revealing that he would be moving on from Twitch and joining YouTube Gaming for the foreseeable future. Since the switch, Ludwig has been critical of YouTube for not having some of the features that make Twitch what it is. Now, he’s even said that streaming on YouTube “sucks” but he’s optimistic it’ll improve in the years to come. In a recent May 7 YouTube video on his second channel MogulMail, the popular streamer opened up about his thoughts on YouTube streaming as a whole. “YouTube live streaming kinda sucks,” he said. “I enjoy the switch, and I regret zero part about it and I genuinely think it’ll be a better live streaming platform… in a few years. They’re just slow to change! Slow to add things, they’re a bloated company. Like they just added hosting and raiding other streamers, which is awesome.” Ludwig went on to demonstrate how the new hosting feature doesn’t work as expected and is overall just confusing for creators to use. “It will get better, but right now it’s bad,” the popular streamer added. The 26-year-old continued by unveiling the rebrand of his popular Mogul.TV browser extension, which is now known as Truffle. As explained by Ludwig, until YouTube improves the platform, he’s taken it into his own hands to bring features that are desperately needed. Hopefully, it won’t be too much longer till YouTube itself releases quality of life updates to its streaming section.

Ludwig claims Logan Paul blew “redemption trail” with CryptoZoo “scam” – Dexerto
Ludwig claims Logan Paul blew “redemption trail” with CryptoZoo “scam” YouTube: Ludwig / YouTube: Logan PaulYouTube star Ludwig Ahgren has criticized Logan Paul for blowing up his “redemption trail” after intricate details of his CryptoZoo “scam” were made public by Coffeezilla. He likened it to a “pyramid scheme” and said Paul needed to “own up” to his mistakes. Logan Paul is back in the headlines for the wrong reasons after YouTube investigator Stephen ‘Coffeezilla’ Findeisen blew the whistle on his CryptoZoo project. Started in 2020, it was abandoned for two years, leaving investors millions out of pocket. With Logan Paul now trying to clean up his image and explain what went down behind the scenes — going as far to invite Coffeezilla onto his IMPAULSIVE podcast — Ludwig claims the damage has already been done and his “redemption trail” has been destroyed. “Although Logan Paul might have a renowned ability to hype things up, it seems like he has no ability to actually create something of value or stick to his word,” he said in a December 27 video. Findeisen outlined how CryptoZoo was “what feels like a pyramid scheme” in Ludwig’s words, getting friends and family to invest first via a ‘soft’ launch before the token was made fully public with an announcement. “They’re trading, but it’s on the inside — which is legal because there’s no regulation,” Ludwig explained. “But it should be illegal.” After Zoo tokens were bought early ahead of the ‘announcement’, Logan Paul blew up in private messages saying they could have made $120 million off the $40 million of trade being done. This was bewildering to Ludwig, as he “couldn’t possibly fathom” the “levels of greed”. “I am in an amazing position because of what has happened through YouTube, streaming, and content creation,” he said. “But I’m also good. “Once you hit $1 million, buy your dream home, get everything you want, cover your family… why do you need more money? I cannot wrap my head around [that].” Ludwig’s biggest criticism came at how Logan Paul was handling the PR aftermath though. He had two years to address all the concerns around CryptoZoo, which never turned into a fully-fledged game despite promises, but only chose to speak up after Coffeezilla’s series. “Why did it take somebody making a three-part docu-series to finally own up to your f**k ups and mistakes? He was super happy to sell his crypto eggs for $2.5 million. He was super happy to sell millions of dollars of CryptoZoo token, but not so happy to actually man up when he needed to on a project that he said, in his own words, would make people money.” “[It’s] super disappointing to see from somebody who I thought was on a redemption trail, who had matured quite a bit, whose content I thought was amazing. “But it seems like Logan Paul’s main ability is to hype things up, make a lot of attention around things… but not to follow through and be a good, ethical, and moral actor.”

Ludwig claims Mizkif will never be canceled but has “a lot to own up for” – Dexerto
Ludwig claims Mizkif will never be canceled but has “a lot to own up for” YouTube: Mogul Mail/ Twitch: MizkifYouTube star Ludwig ‘Ludwig’ Ahgren believes fellow streamer Mizkif will “never be canceled” despite receiving heavy backlash amid his drama with CrazySlick. Twitch went into meltdown on September 19 when popular gambling streamer TrainwrecksTV made accusations against Mizkif. In a heated Twitter spat, he claimed the Twitch star ‘covered up’ sexual harassment allegations made by female creator AdrianahLee against his friend CrazySlick. With Ice Poseidon adding fuel to the fire by leaking inflammatory Mizkif DMs, it was announced that the 27-year-old’s actions were being investigated by OTK – the streaming organization he co-owns. Despite the controversy surrounding Mizkif, Ludwig claims it won’t be long before it all “dies down.” Although, he argued the backlash will no doubt follow Mizkif “for the rest of his life.” Ludwig claims Mizkif won’t “disappear” following drama On September 21, Ludwig shared his thoughts on all of the dramatic events that have taken place on Twitch since the beginning of September 2022 via his YouTube channel Mogul Mail. Ludwig subsequently slammed Mizkif for supposedly “downplaying” AdrianahLee’s sexual assault claims and for the “homophobic” and “racist” comments he made in his messages to Ice Poseidon. “Mizkif has a lot to own up for,” Ludwig stated. “Here’s the thing Miz is Miz. In the sense that, he will never be canceled unless he’s de-platformed because you are never truly canceled as long as you keep creating content. Why would he ever stop creating content? Because Miz truly lives for streaming.” He added that he doesn’t “expect for [Mizkif] to disappear” following on from the backlash and that he will “come back in two weeks” when the drama has “died down.” However, Ludwig claimed that Mizkif will have to always “live with” the consequences which, according to him, is “deserved.” Twitch continues to heat up with debate amid the various scandals that have happened throughout September 2022 and there are likely many more streamers who will share their takes in the days to come.

Ludwig claims CallMeCarson’s allies abandoned him because was a “terrible friend” – Dexerto
Ludwig claims CallMeCarson’s allies abandoned him because was a “terrible friend” Twitch: Ludwig / Instagram: CarsonLudwig ‘Ludwig’ Ahgren claims Carson ‘CallMeCarson’ King’s allies abandoned him because he “lied” and was a “terrible friend,” not because they caved in to pressure from social media users. CallMeCarson shocked the world after making a surprise Twitch return by appearing on Mizkif’s stream. He’s already popped up on social media several times since the grooming accusations came to light, but it was a step up from making ‘accidental’ posts. It’s become a huge talking point, especially since he hinted that he’d be doing a comeback stream sometime soon. But while some people believe his allies only ever abandoned him due to pressure on social media, Ludwig believes it runs deeper than that. “The problem is that there’s a weird misconception,” he said. “[Everyone] thinks Carson’s friends abandoned him because of pressure from Twitter, [but] the friends who abandoned him are the three people who hate Twitter the most.” The people he’s referring to are ConnorEatsPants, Johnathan ‘JSchlatt’ Schlatt, and Josh ‘Jawsh’ Allen, who he claims “could not care less” about what people think about them on social media and wouldn’t be pressured into anything. “The only reason that they left Carson was that he was a terrible friend. He just lied to them. But I feel like that gets lost, and there’s weird misinformation constantly. But everyone just likes to think they know.” Ludwig still thinks Carson will try and make a comeback. However, he isn’t sure how it will go down. People still have mixed opinions about him including some of his friends and former collaborators. Still, he’s got nothing to lose. Carson has been inactive for almost a year and appears keen to get the ball rolling if his recent appearances are anything to go by.

Ludwig claims Kick’s “blood money” from Stake will see Twitch ‘rival’ crumble – Dexerto
Ludwig claims Kick’s “blood money” from Stake will see Twitch ‘rival’ crumble YouTube: LudwigKick has launched onto the scene as a Twitch rival, with a slew of creator-friendly policies. However YouTube star Ludwig Ahgren says dealings with “blood money” from involvement with online casino Stake — and them already being dishonest — will see it disappear in six months. Kick, with the backing of Twitch star Tyler ‘Trainwreck’ Niknam, came into the streaming consciousness with gusto on December 5. The platform promised the world to creators. A 95-5 revenue split, unheard of in the space. 100% profit from Kicks, the on-site donation platform. A generous Partnership program and a more “fair” Terms of Service were just some of the favorable policies posed. However the platform’s dealings unraveled quickly. After it was revealed online casino Stake co-founder Ed Craven reportedly invested in and led the creation of Kick, many questioned the legitimacy of the new rival’s claims. Combined with a launch marred by the platform rebroadcasting Twitch embeds and other issues, community sentiment turned rapidly. YouTube star Ludwig Ahgren had his say on the evolving situation. While he spoke more positively of Kick in a now-deleted video on December 5, he reframed his thoughts on December 6 after the Stake-Kick connection was revealed. He said the platform’s promise to monetize entirely through advertising was untenable, given Twitch and YouTube have tried to do the same thing on a much bigger scale. “The fact of the matter is that is what Twitch is trying to do,” he said. “That is, in part, why Twitch removes things like gambling or the hot tub meta, or they ban so much. They need to be able to cater to advertisers, something YouTube has been wildly successful with on the video service.” Ludwig focused instead on the “nefarious methods” and “blood money” from Stake. While there will undoubtedly be the money to pay out creators the promised split, it’s a case of being transparent of where those funds are coming from. “I think it’s really bad that Train didn’t disclose this was a Stake owned website. I feel like they were trying to hide it as well,” he continued. “It seems like rather than being this virtuous website, which is supposed to be for small and mid-sized creators to get their fair share… [Kick] is a loss leader for Stake to advertise their business in a way that gets around the bans on mainstream platforms like Twitch and YouTube.” He also said Train wasn’t the saint he professed to be either. His focus on “ethical gambling” in the platform’s policy means he has only one thing in mind: returning to the content that made him a Twitch mega-star. “He is trying to do this, in part, to return to doing sponsored gambling content. That is why he’s taken the mast of letting people know about Kick without being the owner of it. “He’s probably getting paid by the ass by Stake to gamble on the website, which is probably a better gig than being a 30% owner in a website where you have to grow from scratch. He’ll get his paycheck just for gambling on the website.” Ahgren rounded out his early observations by saying there’s a definite appeal for the ‘little guy’ on Twitch or YouTube to swap to Kick to get some easy money. The ratios are by far the best on the market, and enough to make anyone take notice. However they need to be honest from the get-go, and breaching that already spells doom for the platform. “Be operated and owned by Stake, but be honest about it too. You still could feasibly provide value to creators who aren’t interested in gambling content because you give them such a good cut because you get the blood money from the gambling casino users. “But they should know going that it’s not because it’s going to create a successful business that will sell to advertisers a year from now because you have so many users and watchers, because you’re making a sh*t ton of money as a loss leader from all the gambling streamers, which seems to be the reality of the situation. “This website will, in six months, either disappear or be flooded with gambling streamers and should only be touched by people who want to lose all of their money or live vicariously through people who are losing all of their ‘fake money’ because all of it is sponsored anyways.”

Ludwig chimes in on Mizkif’s return to OTK – Dexerto
Ludwig chimes in on Mizkif’s return to OTK YouTube: Mogul Mail (Left), Mizkif (Right)YouTube content creator Ludwig was left with mixed feelings after OTK announced that their private investigation into Mizkif allegations found him not guilty. OTK started off 2023 by announcing that Mizkif, a streamer who allegedly had helped cover up a sexual assault incident between streamers CrazySlick and Adrianah Lee, was found not guilty in the investigation that they performed with a third-party law firm. Ludwig reacted to the investigation results in the Mogul Mail video titled “Huge Update on Twitch Drama” uploaded on January 1, 2023. “A lot of the original claims of Mizkif covering up sexual assault don’t seem to be true,” said Ludwig. “What is true, and what OTK did punish him for were his actions on his comeback stream October 11, which demonstrated a lack of empathy and ignorance towards the seriousness of the situation.” Timestamp 8:42 Ludwig reacts to Mizkif’s return to OTK Ludwig said that the community was “understandably upset” about the investigation into Mizkif, as it was essentially OTK investigating itself. But he also stated that in such a case no one else really could investigate as no charges were pressed. The content creator concluded that it seems that a lot of the claims against Mizkif in regard to the alleged coverup did not hold up. But he did criticize Mizkif for his “comeback stream” during the peak of this controversy. “He (Mizkif) suddenly went I’m gonna come back and I’m gonna stream. And that’s fine, the investigation wasn’t over,” said Ludwig. “But his comeback stream was to put it lightly embarrassing.” Ludwig concluded: “Although it doesn’t seem like anything involving sexual assault coverup is true, it is true that he made an inappropriate joke about sexual harassment, and had some unsavory clips.” Mizkif was absolved by OTK of all of the accusations against him, but the organization is still experiencing backlash for Rich Campbell who allegedly sexually assaulted multiple victims.

Ludwig claims “a bunch” of Twitch streamers will leave for YouTube – Dexerto
Ludwig claims “a bunch” of Twitch streamers will leave for YouTube LudwigTwitch and YouTube star Ludwig hinted on his podcast, The Yard, that there are going to be many more Twitch streamers that will leave for exclusive contracts with YouTube Gaming. A mass exodus from Twitch to YouTube Gaming has begun, with some massive names leaving the Amazon-owned streaming platform. DrLupo and TimTheTatman have both signed exclusive deals to stream on YouTube, leaving the platform both of them found massive success on high and dry. Star-FPS streamer NICKMERCS has also hinted he could be on the way out of Twitch as well, citing a “huge move” is on the way. With YouTube not afraid to dish out the cash for streamers, Ludwig dropped a hint that more exclusive deals could be on the way. Ludwig’s big teaser During an episode of Ludwig’s podcast, The Yard, he hinted at the possibility of more streamers ditching Twitch saying: “He (Dr. Lupo) just signed with YouTube exclusively, which, I will say, there’s going to be a bunch more people soon. I can’t leak.” Although Ludwig refused to say exactly who he knows is leaving Twitch, he did carry on saying: “I do have some secret info that I can’t reveal too much. But I think a lot of streamers are going to leave Twitch for YouTube… But yeah, I think a bunch of people are leaving mainly because there are zero good contracts coming from Twitch’s end.” (Time starts at 59:02 in the video below) If Ludwig’s info is correct, this means that YouTube is all-in on becoming more of a live-streaming platform, as they are willing to spend the capital necessary to get big names. Dr Disrespect was on of the first major Twitch names to move over, after his mysterious ban – though he doesn’t have an exclusive deal as TimTheTatman and others have landed. Twitch may soon regret not dishing out contracts to its biggest streamers if they are going to continue to be poached by YouTube. We’ll have to wait and see.

Ludwig ‘cancels’ Sykkuno all because of silly answer to his questionnaire – Dexerto
Ludwig ‘cancels’ Sykkuno all because of silly answer to his questionnaire Instagram: Sykkuwu/Twitch: LudwigStreamer Ludwig Ahgren jokingly canceled Sykkuno and ‘broke up’ with him, after the OfflineTV streamer said all the Pokemon together would beat one billion lions in a fight. For his Twitch stream, Ludwig sent a questionnaire to a series of YouTubers titled: ‘world’s hardest internet questions.’ The idea was to analyze the responses he received live on air. The questions posed were completely bizarre, and included: “is water wet?”, “can you put pineapple on pizza?”, and “cats or dogs?” However, one of the questions which Ludwig was most passionate about was, “Who would win in a fight: one billion lions or every Pokemon?”, with Ludwig ardently backing the lions. Despite Ludwig being a keen backer of the lions, both surveys of his audience and of the YouTubers showed 65% of people backing Pokemon to defeat the lions. This instantly put Ludwig in a bad mood. Later, he analyzed the responses he received from each of the 17 YouTubers who responded, with Sykkuno’s answers being the third set he looked at. He backed Sykkuno to pick the Lions, and said they would be finished “professionally and romantically” if he chose Pokemon. However, Sykkuno backed the Pokemon, prompting Ludwig to send the OfflineTV streamer an angry tweet. Ludwig: “”Now Sykkuno and I will be done professionally and romantically if he thinks the Pokemon beat the lions, but surely he understands billion is a big number”” *turns on dramatic Tokyo Ghoul music* Ludwig on Twitter: “”WE ARE DONE PROFFESIONALLY AND ROMANTICALLY”” pic.twitter.com/9ule98XpYy — Sykkuno Clips 🌱 (@botkkuno) February 27, 2021 When it came to the last question, and Sykkuno’s final chance at redemption, the tension ramped up, with the Who Wants to be a Millionaire theme playing ominously in the background. The question was: “Which do you pour first when making cereal: milk or cereal?” Ludwig admitted he personally prefers to pour the milk first, and explained how only one person of the 17 respondents agreed with him. In a perfect turn of events, Sykkuno was the only person to select milk. Ludwig promptly tweeted Sykkuno to rebuild the rift. “WE ARE BACK ON PROFESSIONALLY AND ROMANTICALLY,” he said. “I’m glad that he was my brother in arms because only one person here was the dirty, filthy milk pourer,” Ludwig said. “The fact that it’s Sykkuno, I couldn’t be more flattered.” By now, the rift was healed and Sykkuno was uncanceled. “I forgive the Pokemon thing,” Ludwig added. “Who cares? Forget about it.” For what it’s worth, we think cereal should always be poured before milk, and we reckon the lions would have the edge over the Pokemon. Just.

Ludwig catches Pokimane subtweeting him and has perfect reply – Dexerto
Ludwig catches Pokimane subtweeting him and has perfect reply Pokimane/LudwigYouTube star Ludwig ‘Ludwig’ Ahgren responded to streamer Imane ‘Pokimane’ Anys after he thought she subtweeted him with, delivering a hilarious retort. Ludwig and Pokimane have long been friends through their connection as popular streamers. The pair even starred in one of the biggest memes in recent memory, born from an OTK video back in 2021 where they dressed up formal for court. Now, Lud has gone viral for his response to what he believed was Pokimane subtweeting him. Ludwig’s response to Pokimane subtweet The 26-year-old YouTube was live on April 29 when he read Pokimane’s most recent tweet aloud. “Okay, what the f**k, am I getting subtweeted by Pokimane now?” Ludwig pulled up the tweet which read, “Serious question, why do guys take so long to poop.” He took the tweet personally and offered a thought-out response to Poki, “Pooping is the only time we get to collect our thoughts and be vulnerable… and my phone is also very entertaining.” Ludwig claimed he’s at his “most vulnerable he’s ever been” when on the toilet. Ahgren’s response garnered tons of attention on Twitter, mainly of fellow guys echoing his feelings. pooping is the only time we get to collect our thoughts and be vulnerable …and my phone is also very entertaining — ludwig (@LudwigAhgren) April 29, 2022 Fellow streamer Aria Saki backed up Ludwig’s response and said, “Bro.. toilet thoughts > shower thoughts.” Clearly, Ludwig takes his toilet time extremely seriously, as any good man should.

Ludwig calls out Twitch over shock Recaps snub: “Easier to lie I guess” – Dexerto
Ludwig calls out Twitch over shock Recaps snub: “Easier to lie I guess” Twitch: LudwigLudwig Ahgren has taken a swipe at Twitch over their decision to exclude him from the platform’s yearly Recaps despite his historic subathon firing him to the top of the platform’s all-time subscriber records earlier this year. YouTube’s newest star Ludwig was left stunned on December 15 after discovering he had been excluded from the yearly Twitch Recaps due to his platform swap. Ludwig enjoyed an immense year of streaming, raking in nearly two million new followers and inking his name into Twitch history with a 31-day subathon. Despite a mighty 12 months, however, the 26-year-old — who we put second in our best Twitch stars of the year — was barred from the platform’s Recaps. It was a decision that blindsided many Twitch fans and streamers alike, not least of all Ludwig himself, who addressed his shock snub from the popular yearly wrap early on in his December 15 stream. “Look, I should have seen it coming,” Ludwig admitted. He continued: “I’m bummed that I was completely removed. I understand it from a business perspective, [but] it’s sad to be erased from so many people’s years.” The star made the surprising discovery just hours after the Twitch Recaps went live, and immediately called out his old platform for their decision. “Did I tell you guys? I got removed from Twitch’s yearly recap. They cracked me out of it, eliminated. Ludwig? Gone. My channel? Gone!” he said. “They didn’t cut categories, so you can see who watched me via that, which is funny, but yeah they got me… exiled, admonished, rocked, rolled. “It’s sad to be erased from so many people’s years.” “I’ll be honest, it’s a bummer. It’s not the end of the world, but I am disappointed that they did it. I think I understand it, from Twitch’s perspective. They don’t want to promote a creator from YouTube, when they could just lie. Read More: How to get your 2021 Twitch Recap – “It’s easier to lie, I guess,” he continued, “and just promote all the streamers that [fans] watched that they still have [on the site]. So I think I get it… maybe.” Ludwig went on to explain that, even if he did partially understand Twitch’s decision, especially after he defected to YouTube in the final days of 2021, the choice still didn’t sit entirely right with him either way. “Thinking about it, it doesn’t actually make all that much sense, but like, go off king! Enjoy yourself. Twitch does these things, so it’s not like I didn’t know. I should have been wary. When Ninja left Twitch they used his dead channel to promote other streamers, so it’s not like a new thing really. “It’s kinda in the same vein,” he said. “I didn’t think I was Twitch’s main competition, but maybe I am. I didn’t realize that. Anyway, what can you do? It’s whatever.” Outside of several platform bans early on in his YouTube career, Ahgren’s decision to exchange Twitch purple for Google-owned red has been a relatively seamless transition and a growing success. Unlike many who make the trade, Ludwig’s viewing numbers have barely waned, and in places even climbed past his original Twitch stats. In December alone he’s recorded 10.1m more video views than his past averages, and is well on track to hit two and a half million subscribers by early next year. The star did make sure to still thank his Twitch fans, even if he was excluded from Recaps: “Thanks to everyone who watched me. I appreciate you.”

Ludwig cancels next Mogul Chessboxing event: “Biggest failure of my career” – Dexerto
Ludwig cancels next Mogul Chessboxing event: “Biggest failure of my career” Twitter: LudwigLudwig has revealed that he has cancelled his Mogul Chessboxing event for 2023, claiming it to be the “biggest failure” of his career. In 2022, Ludwig revealed his first ever Mogul Chessboxing event that saw influencers of all kinds playing Super Smash Bros and Chess before putting on boxing gloves to go at it against their opponent. The event became the most watched tournament for Super Smash Bros while it was live, proving that fans loved it worldwide. However, Ludwig announced on September 27, 2023, that the event will not be taking place this year. Ludwig cancels Mogul Chessboxing 2023 Shared in a tweet, Ludwig mentioned that he was “super bummed” to make the announcement. “I’m super bummed to announce that Chessboxing will not be happening this year,” he said. “This is definitely the biggest failure of my career but has motivated me to be the best creator I can be in 2024.” It wasn’t long after the tweet that Ludwig’s fans began sharing their love for the iconic creator. YouTuber Karl Jacobs responded, saying that Ludwig has had a “sick career.” “Easy to get stuck harping on where things go wrong. Totally been here but try to not let it consume ya too long man. Such a sick career that’s only gonna get cooler n cooler. Sorry this one didn’t work out for you though,” he commented. Another replied: “Keep your head up champ – 2024 will be a big year.” “That’s ok big events are hard to organize. Super excited to see it when it happens!” replied a third. The streamer went on to detail why the event wasn’t happening, citing concerns about sanctioning for the event being complicated and being concerned for the safety of the competitors. Ludwig seems to always have something major going on, so it makes sense that the odd event might occasionally fall through. He’s brought his fans iconic shows like Mogul Money and various Super Smash Bros tournaments in the past, and they’re excited to see what he has in store for 2024.

Ludwig calls out Dr Disrespect with huge $1m wager as hilarious “feud” continues – Dexerto
Ludwig calls out Dr Disrespect with huge $1m wager as hilarious “feud” continues YouTube: Dr Disrespect / LudwigLudwig has thrown down a high-stakes, $1m gauntlet at Dr Disrespect’s feet: after the legendary streamer kept roasting him, Ahgren wants to take the Doc on in a 1v1 to prove, once and for all, “who’s the better gamer.” Two of YouTube’s heavyweight stars could be set to go head-to-head in a high-stakes, million-on-the-line duel, after Ludwig issued the Doc a huge wager. Dr Disrespect seems to have had YouTube’s newest signing, Ludwig Ahgren, in his sights recently, ribbing the former Twitch star over his name, him being a “five-foot-two gaming nerd,” and more in a hilarious streamer “feud.” When he comes up, the Doc makes sure to get Ludwig’s name wrong and pokes fun at his missed awards. Recently, he fired off another barb: “How do you say his name? Lud-widge? He thought he was going to win streamer of the year. His name? Luggage… luggage? I don’t know, Jesus.” Ludwig has had enough, and hit back with a wager. “Dr Disrespect,” Ahgren wrote in his Twitter challenge. “Let’s find out who’s the better gamer this week. 1v1. Luggage vs the Doc. Let’s say… $1 million on the line.” @DrDisrespect lets find out who’s the better gamer this week 1v1 luggage vs the doc lets say.. $1 million on the line — ludwig (@LudwigAhgren) December 7, 2021 Warzone throws spanner in Ludwig’s plans Almost immediately after sending his wager, however, Ludwig was alerted to a factor he hadn’t considered; this week, Warzone — one of the Doc’s games of choice — is soon shifting to a new battle royale map for the first time since its 2020 release. Its release sets the stage for a perfect Caldera duel. “No shot, this week a new Warzone map drops?” he read from his chat. “Oh, sh*t, can I delete? For the love of god… I don’t want to embarrass myself.” During his stream, Ludwig also addressed the immense kitty he’d put up in the Dr Disrespect challenge. According to the YouTuber, he wasn’t being serious with the huge million-dollar prize he put up as stakes. Just like “when Doc says there’s like 30 million in his arena,” he explained, “but really there’s only 30k watching,” Ludwig’s over exaggerating. “It’s a Dr Disrespect $1 million,” he added slyly. “Saying $1m to the Doc means like $1k instead, by his metrics. And he won’t even reply. Everybody relax!” What game will Ludwig and Dr Disrespect play? As of publication, Dr Disrespect has yet to reply to Ludwig’s huge wager, though it’s surely only a matter of time — the two-time won’t be able to pass up a challenge. The only question left is how the 1v1 duel will play out. Ludwig has been involved in the Smash scene for years, but it’s unlikely the two-time will load into a “No items, Fox only, Final Destination” face-off any time soon. What’s more likely is Warzone, though Ahgren doesn’t seem too thrilled by that possibility. Dexerto will keep you updated on all the developments for the huge $1 million wager, and whether Dr Disrespect does eventually accept Ludwig’s huge challenge.

Ludwig calls out Mizkif fans for double standards over drama farming – Dexerto
Ludwig calls out Mizkif fans for double standards over drama farming Twitch: Mizkif, LudwigLudwig didn’t hesitate to put fans of Twitch streamer Mizkif on blast, claiming that while Mizkif will “farm any drama” his fans quick to shut down any attempts to turn it on him. When it comes to Twitch, pretty much every day is a drama-filled day in some way. Some drama might be more widespread and garner attention from different corners, while there some is contained to one game or category. Twitch streamers Ludwig and Mizkif are more than familiar with their fair share of drama, and are typically quick to weigh in on stuff. That, in turn, leads their fans to get involved and creates an even deeper cycle of drama at times. This has led to some streamers putting fans and other creators on blast for ‘drama farming’ but, for Ludwig, he put Mizkif’s fans under the spotlight as he believes that while they’re quick to ‘farm’ drama themselves, they’re even quicker in shutting down any criticism of the OTK member. During his November 27 stream, Ludwig poked fun at Mizkif’s ‘farming’ approach, saying: “I could literally be running away from the police, and he’d be watching it live, laughing at me.” He did, however, get a little more serious, adding: “Mizkids (Mizkif fans) blow my mind.” He made note of how Mizkif got involved with drama around Valkyrae’s skincare products and Hasan’s purchase of a house, but if the tables gets turned and people talk about Mizkif’s drama, his fans shut it down. “The moment someone brings up Miz, the Mizkids are like ‘too far dude, we’re farming drama now? I thought we were being respectful, what the heck.’ I don’t know, I don’t get it,” Lud added. He further noted that he “can’t hate” Mizkif, but doesn’t understand his fans at times. Could this be conveniently timed drama? Some fans noted that with the pair having a tiny bit of drama between themselves recently, there may be a little more than meets the eye. “Are they all just farming drama to boost the next episode of Mizkif’s parasocial show that they’re all on next week?” one comment said. To tie into this event, another commenter pointed out that “Ludwig is also in charge of miz’s merch drop which is dropping in a couple of days.” On the topic of Mizkif and Maya’s relationship, another commenter said: “These things should be kept and spoken about in private by only the individuals involved.” Whether this Ludwig’s comments are the start of more drama to come, we’ll find out soon enough.

Ludwig calls for Twitch to ban Sliker after paying back all of his victims – Dexerto
Ludwig calls for Twitch to ban Sliker after paying back all of his victims YouTube: Mogul MailLudwig has revealed that he and a group of others have successfully paid back all of Sliker’s victims, and now he’s pushing for Twitch to ban the streamer. Back in September 2022, a variety of Twitch streamers and fans of Sliker came out with accusations that he scammed them out of money, claiming that he would pay them back in the future. Shortly after, Ludwig and xQc went on record promising that they would work together to repay everyone that was owed money, totaling up to nearly $250,000. Ludwig tweeted on October 14 that they’ve officially paid back everybody affected by Sliker’s actions and is pushing for Twitch to ban him from the platform. Ludwig calls for Twitch to ban Sliker after repaying victims In his tweet, Ludwig reveals that they’ve successfully paid back the victims of Sliker’s scam with a total of $243,653.40 sent. He also gave thanks to those involved, including xQc, Slime, and Wojito — OTK’s project manager.

Ludwig briefly “breaks” YouTube contract after stream mishap: “Oh s**t, I’m on Twitch” – Dexerto
Ludwig briefly “breaks” YouTube contract after stream mishap: “Oh s**t, I’m on Twitch” Ludwig YouTubeYouTube’s Ludwig made an accidental return on Twitch that surprised everyone, including himself, after an apparent stream mix-up. The brief return gave Twitch viewers a freshly cut Lud clip lasting about 3o seconds, from the time he switched on the screen to his “oh sh*t” moment before making an exit. While the stream starred Ludwig, if you want to see his Twitch return, you’ll need to head over to his long-time friend’s channel, slimeIRL. The two simulcasted Smash Summit 12 throughout the weekend, which explains why Ludwig went live on the wrong platform. “[The reason I started my stream late] is because I went live [on Twitch] and broke my YouTube contract,” Ludwig joked while showing the clip. “I accidentally went live on slime’s channel. That’s the clip they’re going to play at the hearing.” [Relevant segment is between 0:51 to 2:02] People were confused to see YouTube’s latest exclusive signing on Twitch due to the streaming mishap. Ludwig believed he’d started up his YT stream and was confused after people were spamming ‘LateWig’ in his chat like he wasn’t there. That’s when he realized what was actually going on and quickly corrected his course: “Everyone’s spamming late, and I’m like ‘I’m not f**king late, I’m literally live… Oh wait.’” You could see the different beats in Lud’s face believing he was live on YT before realizing he was in the wrong neighborhood of the streaming industry. Only then did reality sink, leading him to drop a quick “oh sh*t. I’m on Twi—.” The latest gem in YouTube’s streaming-crown joked that the fans would soon see an Alphabet Inc. vs Ludwig trial, where he’ll defend himself by denying the stream and saying he “calls everything ‘Twitch.’” It’s hard to imagine the company banning Ludwig (again) for this faux pas since the clip only serves as a reminder that Twitch’s most recognizable face is now on YouTube.

Ludwig breaks silence on Atrioc deepfake controversy – Dexerto
Ludwig breaks silence on Atrioc deepfake controversy YouTube: Mogul MailPopular content creator Ludwig has addressed the Atrioc drama, condemning the actions of his friend, who purchased access to deepfakes of female streamers, including Ludwig’s girlfriend QTCinderella. The controversy began when a clip was posted to the LivestreamFail Reddit, where Atrioc alt tabs out of the game, and a browser tab with a deepfake website can be seen. The website in question contained deepfake images and videos of various female streamers including Pokimane, Maya Higa, and QTCinderella. Pokimane, QTCinderella, Sweet Anita, and more made statements regarding the situation. Atrioc also gave his tearful apology on his Twitch channel. On February 1, Ludwig released a video on the Mogul Mail channel simply titled “Atrioc”, in which he explains his feeling about this situation regarding his close friend and his girlfriend. Ludwig speaks out over Atrioc deepfakes controversy “It hasn’t even been 24 hours since Atrioc, one of my friends, was revealed on stream alt-tabbing which exposed that he paid for a deep fake p**n website of streamers, of his co-workers, of pretty much every woman you can think of on Twitch or YouTube, my girlfriend included,” said Ludwig. He then goes on to mention that a lot of people messaged him privately, angry that Ludwig is taking so long to make this video. “I hope you get that I prioritized being a boyfriend to my girlfriend, who’s had a very s**t past couple of days over being, like, Mogul mail guy,” Ludwig continued. Ludwig also explained that “it didn’t feel like there was any other take to have than the one being expressed by all the women online”. And rather than making his own statements, he read some of the affected female streamer’s statements that he felt were more important than “a random dude’s opinion,” starting with Pokimane’s tweet. After going though the tweets of the targeted women, Ludwig concluded: “I do believe, maybe naively, that he isn’t, like, a sh***y, seedy person, who’s like secretly jacking off to my girlfriend. I don’t think, that that’s guy.” “I just hope, from here, he just takes all the steps and all the actions, you know, to make it better.” “He wrote his own tweet, his apology on Twitter, how he’s stepping down from OFFBRAND to take time offline, and to take these steps. Time will tell and show the actions that he takes, if they’re fruitful, if they’re not,” concluded Ludwig.

Ludwig breaks Twitter with his The Batman movie opinion: “Worst take imaginable” – Dexerto
Ludwig breaks Twitter with his The Batman movie opinion: “Worst take imaginable” Warner Bros/LudwigYouTube star Ludwig went viral for his mild reception of The Batman after watching the film saying, “I thought it’d be more fun.” The Batman hit theatres on March 4 and enjoyed the biggest opening weekend of any movie in 2022 so far. Starring Robert Pattinson as the Caped Crusader, the noir-inspired take on Batman has many praising the film for its story and artistic direction. Although many long-time Batman fans were satisfied, Ludwig took to his stream after seeing the movie and revealed that he was less than impressed. Ludwig delivers “worst” The Batman take Lud was streaming on March 5 when he shared his thoughts on the new Batman flick. “The Batman movie was fine, dude. I thought it would be more fun, I don’t know. It was like a Marvel movie with none of the comedy. I don’t think there was a single joke in the movie. But even it’s supposed to be a brooding drama, like a detective story, I think they also did a bad job at that.” Ludwig went on to say, “In my mind, if you have what is supposed to be a vigilante detective Batman and a guy whose name is The Riddler, you should probably have what is fun, fun in like Sherlock Holmes and Knives Out way. I thought it’d be like that.” this gotta be the worst The Batman take I’ve heard pic.twitter.com/YJ3RX7LYgJ — Batman101 (@TheBatman010) March 6, 2022 The 26-year-old YouTuber was brutally roasted online for his take on the film with one user saying, “MCU fans when there’s no quippy one-liner after every scene in The Batman: “’There were no jokes in the movie it’s too serious.’” MCU fans when there’s no quippy one-liner after every scene in the batman: “there were no jokes in the movie it’s too serious”… there are many well timed and well written bits in the movie to get laughs just because it’s not on the nose doesn’t mean it’s not there — ali arman (@arman1999200) March 6, 2022 Another Ludwig fan was shocked by his opinion, “I love Ludwig, but dude what the f**k is this?” Clearly, Ludwig was looking for a different type of movie-going experience.

Ludwig blows Twitch streamer’s mind with ridiculous sub raid – Dexerto
Ludwig blows Twitch streamer’s mind with ridiculous sub raid YouTube streaming star Ludwig has blown away a small Twitch creator after directing his community to raid the streamer with subscriptions and support. Ludwig is one of the most popular streamers in the world. Before signing an exclusive streaming deal with YouTube, the 27-year-old amassed over 3.1M followers on Twitch. Now, over on YouTube, he averages millions of views for each video. With the platform steadily climbing up the ranks in the streaming world, so does his view count too. With such a large audience, Ludwig wanted to do some good, where during a recent broadcast he told his viewers to go subscribe to an up-and-coming streamer. Ludwig raids small Twitch streamer with amazing support During his stream on July 11, Ludwig challenged himself to win a game of Fall Guys by the end of the night, and surprisingly he actually did it after just two hours. Pumped with energy and feeling great, he got the idea to “love raid” a small creator on Twitch. With thousands of viewers watching, the 27-year-old came across streamer TheExecs. Ludwig had the goal to “blow up their sh*t” and “absolutely litter them” with Prime Subscriptions, and that’s exactly what he did as thousands of fans began tuning into Twitch stream. Completely caught off-guard, the small streamer peaked at over 3400 viewers, and the reaction was absolutely priceless. “Wait what the heck, I’m confused. What is going on? Is this a new thing? People can start a hype train from botting,” the streamer questioned. “This is definitely fake. Wait, what’s going on? This can’t be real, you’re lying,” TheExecs said, as hundreds of Twitch Prime subs started pouring in. “I thought I was getting botted. Oh my f**king god bro oh my gosh thank you Ludwig. Thank you for the raid bro.” For the next 10 minutes, Ludwig fans continued show love to the streamer, with the hype train coming to an end after 600 viewers subscribed. This isn’t the first time Ludwig has massively raided another streamer, and hopefully, it won’t be the last either, as they’re certainly entertaining.

Ludwig breaks all-time viewership record with Mogul Chessboxing Championship event – Dexerto
Ludwig breaks all-time viewership record with Mogul Chessboxing Championship event YouTube: LudwigBig name streamer Ludwig Ahgren far surpassed his all-time viewership record across both Twitch and YouTube during his Chessboxing Championship event. Ludwig held a highly anticipated Chessboxing event on December 11, which he called the Mogul Chessboxing Championship. In this massively successful livestream, players battled it out in alternating rounds of boxing and either Super Smash Bros Melee or standard chess in the Galen Center in Los Angeles For those unaware of how the event works, contestants essentially play each other in Melee or chess and then fight each other in boxing. Fights later in the card were all contested with chess in focus, while prelims featured Smash. They continue fighting until one of them racks up three wins in Melee or a win in chess. Viewership for this innovative event has soared above Ludwig’s previous records on both Twitch and YouTube, having cleared the 280k benchmark at the time of writing, with more viewers piling in as the event rolls on. Prior to the event, his highest viewed stream was on his previous platform, Twitch, where the content creator achieved a peak viewership of 201,268 on April 14, 2021. As for YouTube, his previous record on the platform was 146,699 during an earlier Mogul event. Clearly, the Mogul Chessboxing Championship has been a massive success for Ludwig, who is managing to grow his brand and content unhindered by the switch in streaming platforms. With such dedication to his craft, it’s no wonder he was crowned Content Creator of the Year.

Ludwig blasts “degenerate” Trainwrecks gambling & defends his poker ad streams – Dexerto
Ludwig blasts “degenerate” Trainwrecks gambling & defends his poker ad streams Twitch: Ludwig, trainwreckstvAs the debate around Twitch gambling streams grows ever bigger, Ludwig has had his say on the matter, hitting out at creators like Trainwrecks’ “degenerate” streams but defending some of his own past broadcasts in the process. Gambling has become super common on Twitch, with streamers earning millions of dollars from brands looking to promote their product. As such, we’ve seen many creators winning or losing thousands, if not millions, through their gambling streams, though this is often not their own money but the companies. This has drawn a lot of criticism from both fans and peers, with even the likes of Pokimane speaking out against these streams and how they might affect impressionable younger viewers. Ludwig sent a tweet to Trainwrecks, asking whether he understands that “they pay you at least 1 million/monthly because they receive a return from your viewers?” @Trainwreckstv do you get that they pay you at least 1 million/monthly cause they receive a return from your viewers? trust capitalism to make money not give it away and admitting that is fine but people will think you’re a POS even if it’s as “”good”” as you can do it — ludwig (@LudwigAhgren) July 21, 2021 When fellow streamer LosPollosTV tried comparing it to Ludwig’s Pokemon card opening streams, he wasn’t having any of it. “The Pokemon Company did not give me $1 million to open cards,” he said. “I’ll do ur hw [homework] for you because you didn’t — I did a sponsored poker stream that you were literally in.” yeah sorry ill explain the pokemon company did not give me $1 million to open cards ill do ur hw for you cause you didnt- I did a sponsored poker stream that you were literally in maybe that will make you feel better about taking that gambling sponsorship you were offered — ludwig (@LudwigAhgren) July 22, 2021 LosPollos then says that if Pokemon had offered him $1m, he would definitely accept. He also added that “either way, you promoted gambling whether it’s the Pokémon cards I lost thousands on or the poker stream we did.” Ludwig argued then that the poker stream was different because “poker is a skill game,” but that “getting paid to punt thousands of dollars in minutes with a slot machine (0 skill game) is degenerate.” Everyone has a different line of morality. I think poker is a skill game people that I really enjoy and accept promoting gambling I think getting paid to punt thousands of dollars in minutes with a slot machine (0 skill game) is degenerate we don’t gotta be the same — ludwig (@LudwigAhgren) July 22, 2021 There’s definitely a whole lot of nuance in the debate, as shown by Ludwig’s promotion of poker streams, but he clearly sees the two as very different. It’s unclear what kind of effect gambling streams are having on the creators’ viewers, but many top channels are standing firmly against them.
