‘Joji is cancelled’ trends on Twitter after people discover Filthy Frank Instagram: @sushitrash / YouTube: TVFilthyFrankPopular music star Joji was trending worldwide on Twitter on May 11 after KPop fans discovered his YouTube past as Filthy Frank. The fictional character’s edgy humor has some users extremely upset. Joji is one of the most popular musicians in the world right now, with a slew of #1 singles like Slow Dancing in the Dark, Sanctuary, and Run. However, the freshman musician has come under fire for his YouTube past. In what is the worst kept secret on the internet, the Billboard chart-topping star played a fictional character on YouTube named Filthy Frank for over 10 years. However, some Twitter users only made the discovery in 2020, and are angry about it. For over a decade, George Miller was deemed by many as the “king of the internet.” The creator was responsible for the insanely viral Harlem Shake phenomena, and portrayed YouTube’s most comically vile character, Filthy Frank. Miller eventually left the channel behind, and transitioned into a music career as Joji. However, on May 11 the star began trending on Twitter after some KPop users are only now making the discovery of his past alias. The whole thing kicked off when Twitter user ‘jinsolbi’ tweeted about his 2017 musical project as ‘Pink Guy’ – a fictional character in the FilthyFrank universe. “joji literally having a song where he says [racist term]…like you can’t be serious,” they tweeted. The hashtag ‘jojiisoverparty’ began to trend on Twitter’s Kpop section after users replied to jinsolbi’s post. Many of them were shocked, as they were only just finding out about Miller’s edgy humor from years ago. Not all were critical of the international artist, as some came to his defense of what they argued “was known for years.” Popular YouTuber Dolan Dark mocked those upset about it. “Just found out Joji is Filthy Frank. Shaking and crying,” he tweeted sarcastically. Other users such as ‘YMustIExist’ found the whole situation hilarious. “Damn, watching these kpop stans find out that joji used to be filthyfrank is the funniest” they tweeted, while also including a clip of the character. Miller has been open for years about the character, arguing that it’s satire. “Filthy Frank is the embodiment of everything a person should not be. This terrible offensiveness is a deliberate parody of the whole social media scene,” the description of his YouTube channel reads. Read More: Amouranth banned for third time on Twitch – Despite the artist having largely put distance between himself and the old creation, his past has largely been known publicly. His transition into a chart topping musician has often been praised within the content community, making this criticism years later all the more surprising.

JoJo Siwa asks fans to stop sending hate to ex-boyfriend Mark Bontempo – Dexerto
JoJo Siwa asks fans to stop sending hate to ex-boyfriend Mark Bontempo YouTube: JoJo Siwa / Instagram: Mark BontempoYouTube star and former Dance Moms contestant JoJo Siwa has finally broken the news of her breakup with ex-boyfriend Mark Bontempo — but it seems like some fans aren’t taking their split very well. JoJo Siwa’s love life is often quite a mystery; after sort-of confirming rumors surrounding herself and longtime friend Elliot Brown in March, the YouTuber seemed to break off their relationship and moved on to fellow influencer Mark Bontempo in August, introducing their romance with a humorous TikTok. Siwa appeared to be stoked about dating Mark, gushing to ET that “He’s amazing and I couldn’t have imagined anyone better.” “Honestly he’s a dream,” she said of their relationship. “Really, truly unreal and I’m so happy.” However, it seems that those happy days have come and gone, according to JoJo’s comment on an Instagram page on November 17. As told by the star herself, she and Bontempo have decided to part ways. Luckily, there doesn’t seem to be any drama behind their split, with Siwa confirming that they simply weren’t right for each other at this moment. That’s not the most intriguing thing about the situation, though; the YouTuber also begged her fans to stop sending hate to her ex on social media, asking them to merely unfollow him if they aren’t too keen on him after their breakup. View this post on Instagram “You have NO idea about Mark and I’s relationship,” she replied to a negative Instagram post about their split. “How much fun it was. How happy we both were, how happy we both are. We decided it’s best for us not to be in a relationship… that’s all.” “If you don’t wanna follow him like the millions of other people on instagram you don’t follow, that’s fine, but this post is immature,” she added. “He is not toxic. We’re teenagers. And our relationship just didn’t work out right now. …we’re better just being friends.” View this post on Instagram It seems that Siwa is not having any negativity regarding her relationship status and isn’t happy with the hatred thrown toward her ex-boyfriend. While this is far from the first time she’s had to deal with haters, it’s refreshing to see the ever-cheerful, colorful icon put her foot down in such a pointed way.

Johnny Depp finally uploads on TikTok after reaching 1 million followers without a post – Dexerto
Johnny Depp finally uploads on TikTok after reaching 1 million followers without a post TikTok/ Instagram: Johnny DeppJohnny Depp has finally joined TikTok, getting verified by the platform and hitting a million followers within 48 hours of being created — even without posting. Now, it’s all confirmed to be the film star with his first post. Johnny Depp’s complete online omnipresence over the first half of 2022 has been impossible to avoid. His controversial trial against Amber Heard dominated Twitch, TikTok, and mainstream media outlets for the 6 weeks it was in process. The actor has been tipped to appear in an upcoming ‘Pirates’ film, as well as bolstering a huge fanbase that watches him with an avid adoration. Now he has started a TikTok account, reaching 1.1 million followers before posting his first video. Though the account has a verified tick from TikTok itself, this was not a certain indicator that the account is actually owned and managed by Depp himself. This wouldn’t be the first case of a celebrity copycat on the video-sharing platform. Tom Holland fell victim to someone capitalizing on his fame in 2021, with the account ‘TomHollandMedia’ also receiving verification before being ousted as a fake weeks later. Without a single video posted in the account’s 48 hour existence, it wasn’t possible at first to confirm whether the 52-year-old actor was actually utilizing this moment to join zoomers on TikTok. Quickly putting an end to any speculation, Depp posted a video montage to the account underscored by a reggae backbeat. Featuring shots of fans outside the courtroom as well as clips of Depp playing guitar on various stages. When starting his Instagram back in 2020, Depp was equally quick to confirm it was actually him, posting an 8-minute direct-to-camera video in “collaboration with dear friend Jeff Beck.” In a moment of surreptiton, Johnny Depp is currently on tour with Jeff Beck in the UK, indicating the musician could potentially be the catalyst for both of Depp’s supposed adventures into social media spaces. Since posting the video Depp has now rocketed to over 6 million followers on the platform with his first video being seen 9.5 million times in its first 12 hours.

John Rich sparks backlash after disabled person calls him out – Dexerto
John Rich sparks backlash after disabled person calls him out Instagram: johnrichofficial/ Twitter: TizzyEntMusician and songwriter John Rich has come under fire for commenting on a disabled person’s physical appearance, leading to a number of his fans trolling her online. A TikTok user by the name Potatum started going viral on Twitter, with Potatum herself stating in her bio that she is autistic. In a video posted to the platform, she voiced her concerns about Americans no longer taking precautions against the virus. This video reached the musician, leading him to comment on the video. John told the user to go outside in the sun and get some vitamin D. He reacted to Potatum’s video and called her a “poor girl” as he stated how vitamin D-deficient people are more likely to get hospitalized because of the virus. The American songwriter told Potatum to get some sunshine and move ahead, leading to many of his followers to take to Potatum’s comment section. They insulted her, which led to her posting a follow-up video as she claimed that the country superstar harassed her. Potatum hits back John Rich The TikToker began her video as she shared her frustration as she is a high-risk immunocompromised disabled person. She mocked the American musician and said she did not expect her words would “move” the singer so much. Potatum even mocked John’s choice of having an American flag emoji on his name and said, “Whenever I see an American flag in a display name, I die inside, because people who craft their entire personality around being born in the U.S. don’t tend to see eye-to-eye with me.” She added, “I checked his profile and saw that he was the lesser half of my boomer dad’s favorite country group Big & Rich.” Potatum called out the 50-year-old for choosing to take digs at her physical appearance and spreading misinformation regarding human health. She continued to share that after the songwriter’s attack, there were several “misinformed” individuals who made gross comments. The TikToker revealed she had to hide a lot of the comments and mentioned some of the names she was called. Internet mocks John Rich Many users online responded to the video, which was shared by a user called TizzyEnt on Twitter and agreed with Potatum as they called Rich a problematic person and a bully. Some revealed they do not know him while others mocked his singing voice by commenting, “I had never heard of him before. I watched 1/3 of one of his videos. He has the same high-pitched nasal voice as 95% of male country singers.” Another said: “So I went to his Twitter & I had already blocked him! I don’t remember why or when but I must have been disgusted with him before!” Bless her ❤️ — 🌻 Justice Now ⚖🌟🇺🇸 (@ChrisJustice01) July 30, 2023 Rich is a known problem and we’ve been clashing for years. In my view Justice is what’s needed to put the MAGA clowns in their place. Words are hollow and Justice is due. #Resist Another person could not believe how low people will stoop to prove their points as they expressed their shock and wrote, “I still can’t believe that this happened to her. Not only is he an AH, but so is everyone that felt the need to come at her for her health issues. What in the actual…. How is this our reality? How have we sunk so low that this is now acceptable?” Potatum later added that celebrities who use their fans as a weapon against disabled people should not be called celebrities.

Johnny Depp hits 11 million followers on TikTok after viral Amber Heard trial YouTube: The Graham Norton ShowHollywood star Johnny Depp is already breaking major milestones on TikTok, gaining over 11 million followers after joining the platform in wake of his trial with Amber Heard. The Depp vs Heard trial is still the talk of the internet even after its conclusion over a week ago. The hearing lasted well over a month and saw testimonies from both ex-spouses. Depp notably sued Heard for $50 million over an op-ed she wrote for the Washington Post in 2018, in which the actress alleged she was a “public figure representing domestic abuse.” Although Depp was not named in the piece, the Pirates star claimed the article painted him in a negative light and cost him several acting roles — most notably that of Fantastic Beasts’ Gellert Grindelwald. The jury ruling saw an overall victory for Depp, who is set to be awarded a total $15 million in compensatory and punitive damages. Heard is set to be awarded $2 million in compensatory damages. Depp joined TikTok after celebrating the ruling last week, posting a thankful message to his fans for their support during the ordeal on June 7. Click here if TikTok fails to load. John Krasinski goes viral with “Some Good News” YouTube channel – Dexerto
John Krasinski goes viral with “Some Good News” YouTube channel YouTube: Some Good NewsJohn Krasinski is a decorated actor that has featured in fan-favorite films and TV shows such as The Office and A Quiet Place – and now he’s conquering the digital world with his new YouTube channel ‘Some Good News.’ Krasinski has clearly been feeling the effects of the ongoing global crisis, with people from all walks of life tied up in their homes with no option but to entertain themselves in whatever way possible. For John, this has come in the form of YouTube channel Some Good News, which is aimed at providing some of the more positive news out there rather than dwelling on the doom and gloom of the world today – and he’s gone viral with his very first video. Within just 12 hours of uploading, the first episode of “Some Good News with John Krasinski” is nearly at 1 million views – a figure many won’t hit in their lifetime. After reaching out to his Twitter followers to send him some of the week’s more positive news, and he used the video to praise the global healthcare community as well as showcase some of the most heartwarming videos he had seen on the internet in the days prior. Of course, Krasinski has a bit of an advantage over other YouTubers: his connections. Before long, he had recruited long-time friend and former The Office colleague Steve Carell to call in on video and celebrate the show’s 15th anniversary, making jokes and showing that the comedic streak isn’t lost in either of them. Krasinski and Carell’s recounting of some of the most iconic scenes to have been produced in The Office no doubt helped nudge the view count up a bit, but also kept along the lines of the aims of the SGN channel by keeping things upbeat and positive. Later in the video, John spoke with a 15-year-old girl who had recently arrived home following her final chemotherapy treatment, with the video ending on a truly touching moment as she discussed what she had been through and the incredible celebrations that followed her homecoming. It’s no doubt that a video like this struck a chord with a lot of people, and Krasinski will likely be delighted with the results as he approaches the 200,000 subscribers mark. For everything going on in the world right now, this blast of positive energy appears to be exactly what people needed to see.

John Mayer has perfect response to TikTok roasting his songs – Dexerto
John Mayer has perfect response to TikTok roasting his songs TikTok: johnmayerlover3000 / Instagram: johnmayerSinger-songwriter John Mayer had the perfect response to a viral TikTok that roasted his music, turning the lyrics into a snippet of an actual song. Thanks to TikTok’s rapid rise in popularity over the past couple of years, millions of new users have been signing up to the app in order to see what all the fuss is about, and join in on the fun. The platform is home to a whole host of content, and a lot of it is based around music, which has meant that there have also been plenty of celebrities and musicians who’ve decided to finally make an account of their own. This has led to plenty of amazing interactions between stars and their fans. In November, user johnmayerlover3000 decided to parody singer John Mayer’s lyrics by writing some joke lyrics of his own, saying: “Dudes who listen to John Mayer be like, ‘hanging out in your house with you, give me another chance to prove, hotdogs are my favorite food.’” Click here if TikTok doesn’t load The video got over 100,000 likes, and close to 1 million views, with viewers worldwide loving his take on the singer. And it was made even better when Mayer himself decided to respond by stitching the user’s original video, showing that he had actually recorded and mixed their parody lyrics, as well as adding guitar to the background to make it sound like a real song. Click here if TikTok doesn’t load “Step aside my child,” he wrote in the caption. Fans were impressed with his dedication, with one saying: “Obsessed w the fact that you saw this, went to the studio, recorded it, and probably spent a good amount of time mixing it too.” This isn’t the first time that a TikTok parody has been made into an actual song. John Fury threatens to “ruin KSI’s career” if Tommy Fury bet isn’t paid – Dexerto
John Fury threatens to “ruin KSI’s career” if Tommy Fury bet isn’t paid DAZN / WassermanJohn Fury has warned KSI he’ll “ruin his career” if the YouTube star doesn’t pay up on their bet. On October 14, we finally saw KSI and Tommy Fury put on their gloves and went blow-for-blow in the boxing ring. KSI was looking to prove once and for all he was the best in the scene and take down a professional boxer. However, it was Fury who walked out on top of the bout, taking the win by a unanimous decision. Now, the head of the family John Fury is demanding that the YouTube star pay up on the £200k he’s owed from a bet KSI placed on the match’s result. John Fury demands that KSI makes good on his bet In a recent interview with IFL, John demanded that KSI pay up his £200k he owes Fury from a bet, claiming he’ll not let the bet go and end the YouTuber’s career if he doesn’t. “He lost. He’s got to man up and pay because I will not let this go,” said John. “I’ll hound him to death. I’ll hound him to death. So there you go mate, pay up. You wanted to bet in the first place. Be a man.” John even poked a bit of fun at KSI, calling him a sore loser after he lost the fight against Tommy, before threatening to ruin his career if he doesn’t hold up his side of their bet. “You were a sore loser when you got picked on the night. But you’re going to pay this money because I’ll never leave you alone. “I will ruin your career,” Fury warned. “I’m on you like a dog on a rabbit. So don’t worry about that. Pay up.” As it stands, KSI is awaiting for the “outrageous” decision that went in Fury’s favor to be overturned, after sending an official appeal to the PBA, the governing body that sanctioned the fight. While it makes sense that he’d wait until the match’s result to be reviewed before making good on his bet, the Fury family is dead set on him staying true to his word.

John Kavanagh calls out Joe Rogan for Conor McGregor interview after injury – Dexerto
John Kavanagh calls out Joe Rogan for Conor McGregor interview after injury JRE Clips / Instagram: @thenotoriousmmaConor McGregor’s coach John Kavanagh hit out at Joe Rogan for interviewing the fighter after his shocking ankle injury. The trainer explained why he was “miffed” at the podcast host for talking to the Irish star only moments after his loss to Dustin Poirier at UFC 264. The trilogy fight between Conor McGregor and Dustin Poirier came to an abrupt end after McGregor’s ankle broke in a freak accident. In a viral moment, UFC commentator Joe Rogan sat down next to the injured Irishman and interviewed him after he lost the July 10 contest. While many fans loved the lengths the JRE Podcast creator was willing to go to talk to the former champion, the 32-year-old star’s coach was not too thrilled about it. In a lengthy interview, John Kavanagh criticized the comedian for “shoving” a microphone in the face of a competitor who needed medical attention. John Kavanagh calls out Joe Rogan for Conor McGregor interview In an interview with UFC reporter Laura Sanko, Kavanaugh opened up about his take on Joe Rogan interviewing McGregor after the fighter broke his ankle. “I have my opinions on that. Like his foot is literally hanging down. It’s a clean fracture of the fibula and tibia. It went straight through. His foot is hanging down. You can only imagine the rush of hormones and the pain, it was on fire,” he said. The head coach then criticized Rogan for interviewing him while he was severely injured. “And then someone sits down and sticks a microphone under your face like “How are you feeling right now?” …It’s like, guys, come on! Come on. Let’s get backstage and let’s get a proper assessment by a doctor, let’s get an x-ray.” Kavanagh followed up stating that he was not happy with the Joe Rogan Experience host for his behavior. “Let’s say I was pretty miffed at that idea of shoving a microphone in someone’s face at that stage. Let’s gather ourselves and let’s… Anyways look, what’s happened has happened.” Although Conor’s head coach was not a fan of the viral interview, many viewers came to the defense of Rogan. Fans pointed out that McGregor had been yelling while the podcast host was interviewing winner Dustin Poirier “Conor yelled waaaaay before Joe came next to him,” one user wrote. Another exclaimed, “He literally asked for a chance to talk, stop making excuses for ya boi.” It should be pointed out that some were also highly critical of Conor’s continued attacks on Dustin Poirier’s wife after the match. So Kavanaugh’s remarks could also be explaining why fighters shouldn’t be interviewed in such an agitated state. Regardless of how you feel about the post-fight interview, UFC 264 will certainly go down as memorable. In an update on July 11, the Irish star revealed that he had successfully had surgery and felt “tremendous.” Only time will tell if the 32-year-old will get back into the Octagon and finish his long-running rivalry. UFC owner Dana White seems up to it and even stated that the fight was “not over” with how it concluded.

John Fury says KSI wouldn’t even shake his hand after Tommy Fury fight decision – Dexerto
John Fury says KSI wouldn’t even shake his hand after Tommy Fury fight decision DAZN / WassermanJohn Fury has claimed KSI wouldn’t even shake his hand after losing to Tommy Fury by a majority decision. KSI finally went blow-for-blow with Tommy Fury on October 14, where after months of anticipation it all came down to six rounds in the ring. Ultimately, it was Fury who got the better of his opponent, walking away with the win by a majority decision. However, his victory hasn’t come without controversy. KSI has slammed the decision as “outrageous”, while many have claimed the YouTube star has been “robbed” by the judges. John Fury claims KSI didn’t shake his hand after fight In a post-fight interview with Boxing King Media, John Fury claimed that KSI wouldn’t even shake his hand after all was done and dusted. According to Fury, he tried to be “reasonable” with the YouTuber, although it wasn’t mutual. “I did go over to KSI and try to be reasonable with him,” said John. “I said, ‘Fair play to you,’ I put my hand out to him and he wouldn’t even shake it. “That’s up to him, but they need a lesson in how to be men,” he added. Fury continued: “He spat at me, so I could’ve said I’m not going near him. But I know the fight game and what you do at the end of a fight is shake the man’s hand win, lose, or draw. But these people don’t get it today. I’m old-fashioned.” It’s clear that KSI believes that he won the bout, and has said that he’s looking to appeal the “outrageous” decision. The Prime co-founder explained right after the fight that he felt he won the first three rounds, and taking into consideration Fury’s point deduction in the third, he believes he should’ve won.

John Fury apologizes for chaos at KSI vs Tommy Fury press conference – Dexerto
John Fury apologizes for chaos at KSI vs Tommy Fury press conference Instagram: gypsyjohnfuryJohn Fury, father of boxing legend Tyson Fury and his younger brother Tommy, has apologized for derailing the press conference of his youngest son, as Tommy gears up for his fight against YouTube sensation KSI. On August 22, the press conference for the upcoming Misfits and DAZN X Series event took place, which will see KSI vs Tommy Fury co-main eventing alongside Logan Paul vs Dillon Danis. While there was general chaos across the board, with Dillon Danis calling Logan’s fiancée a “slut” and cake being thrown across the stage, it was John Fury himself who stole headlines, as he was the one that put an end to the entire conference with his antics. As the situation unfolded and things started to get heated, John had finally had enough, standing up and kicking over the tables, which really sent everything into disarray. John Fury issues apology over press conference antics The following day, however, Fury took to social media to apologize for his antics, saying that he’ll “try and improve” so as to not let it happen again. “I just want to make a quick apology for my inappropriate language yesterday,” he said. “It was unacceptable, but emotions get high, it is the fight game, it was pandemonium. Let me sincerely apologize for my outburst of language. I wasn’t alone doing it, but I feel it’s appropriate to make that apology to the people who came to the press conference … I’ll try and improve. “But people, this is John Fury, this is my character, this is who I am. I’m a real person, I’m not a fake person, nothing scripted, it just happens when it happens, but again, I apologize for my inappropriate language, and if I’ve offended anybody, I’m deeply sorry.” While some comments suggested that John should let Tommy do press conferences on his own in the future, many of them were very supportive of the Fury father, saying that he made the entire thing considerably better. There are still several weeks until the fight takes place on October 14, so until then John will likely be trying to hold his tongue and be on his best behavior, though that’s not what fight fans have come to expect from the Fury boys.

Jones, however, revealed that she wasn’t a fan and didn’t even know who they were, claiming that she’d asked for a picture because “they had like 9 million security guards.” Many viewers captured Cena’s shocked and confused expression and shared it on Twitter. james: so you met bts lady: I didn’t know who they were, they had like 9 million bodyguards so I thought I’ll take a picture john cena: pic.twitter.com/hQdYKaKAAr — koRo⁷ (@giveittobangtan) January 16, 2020 Jones went on to say that after posting it to Instagram, she received a lot of comments from fans saying, “hands off, lady.” But Cena said that Jones was “so lucky” to get a picture with them, and joked that he’d even, “tried out to be their bodyguard.” Corden pressed him to give a legitimate explanation on why he “loved” BTS, and the former WWE champion gave a thoughtful response on why he’s so fond of the group. “They were the first Korean pop band to actually connect everybody throughout the world,” Cena said. “I began to listen to their music and listen to the message they sent to their fans, and it’s one of self-love and self-reflection and being confident in yourself, even though you may be different.” Cena’s comments begin at 1:28. “So not only is the choreography and the development of personalities and the entertainment they put on spectacular,” he continued, “young people are listening to their music, and they’re sending a good message through their music.” After a resounding round of applause, Cena revealed that as an old-school rapper (a reference to one of his first gimmicks in professional wrestling), he connected with RM and J-Hope as his favorites. Several fans of the group praised Cena’s explanation on social media. https://twitter.com/peiskoshobi/status/1217813463499710464 https://twitter.com/BTSBEINGBTSYT/status/1217781728523231233 So far, a collaboration between BTS and Cena has not yet been announced, but fans of both are hoping for the Doctor of Thuganomics to appear on a track on a future album.

John Cena gives cryptic response to Logan Paul’s WWE challenge – Dexerto
John Cena gives cryptic response to Logan Paul’s WWE challenge WWELogan Paul issued a friendly callout for Triple H to book him up against John Cena for Wrestlemania 39 and the ‘Cenation Leader’ has now dropped a cryptic answer for his would-be opponent. Logan Paul used his own podcast as a platform to indirectly ask Triple H to throw him a bone and help set up a match vs. 16-time World Champion John Cena next year at Wrestlemania. He claimed the Los Angeles-based event would be a perfect birthday present and seemed eager to get in the ring and “take out” the former face of the WWE. Fans were waiting to see if the future Hall of Famer would even acknowledge the callout and now he has, albeit in a pretty strange manner. John Cena responds to Logan Paul’s Wrestlemania callout with cryptic message The only response Cena has released so far has come in the form of a meme posted on his Instagram page. The picture is of ‘The Rattlesnake’ Steve Austin but Logan Paul’s head has been imposed over top. Additionally, there’s a line of top text that reads “Stone Cold Someday” and fans are speculating over exactly what they’re supposed to take away from it. While some are interpreting it as a playful denial, others are reading a bit deeper into the situation with one crackpot theory suggesting that Cena is hinting that he’ll be squaring off with Stone Cold himself instead of the young upstart. While that’s a bit farfetched, no one can seemingly agree on what to take away from this one, but if Logan Paul’s WWE showings keep stealing the show as they’ve done so far, he may end up getting his wish whether it’s good for him or not.

Joey Swoll’s viral call out video causes gym TikToker to delete her account – Dexerto
Joey Swoll’s viral call out video causes gym TikToker to delete her account TIKTOK: thejoeyswollTikTok user gwinie_the_pooh deleted her account after Joey Swoll blasted her for filming and mocking an old man at the gym. Bodybuilder and coach Joey Swoll has made it his mission to correct what he refers to as “toxic gym culture.” On his page, where he boasts over 6.2 million followers, Joey regularly calls out people who film other people at the gym. He recently made the headlines when he defended a man who was slammed by a streamer for asking if she needed any help with a gym equipment. Now, the fitness influencer has blasted TikToker gwinie_the_pooh after she made fun of an elderly man for simply exercising. Joey Swoll calls out TikToker for mocking elderly man In the gym-goer’s video, she recorded herself doing a workout at a gym. Behind her, the old man was seen kicking a punching bag. After spotting him, the TikToker then zoomed in on the man, before zooming in on herself looking less than impressed. “What was that,” she captioned the now-deleted video. In his TikTok, Joey played some of the controversial video at the start, before speaking out against the content creator. “So now we’re making of the way an elderly man works out? Really? You should be ashamed of yourself,” he began in the 46-second clip. “And we wonder why people want filming banned in all gyms.” “To this woman, you owe that man an apology, and I really hope you’re accountable enough to do so, “Otherwise, your gym should kick your ass out. You need to do better. Mind your own business,” he concluded in the video, which went viral with 1.7 million views. In the comments, TikTok users agreed with Joey, and defended the old man. “Mobility is so difficult for elderly people. Good for that man!” one user wrote. “That man was doing great! At this age to be punching and kicking? Legend,” another said. “Dude’s keeping his mobility up. She’ll be lucky to even remember where the gym is when she’s his age,” a third shared. Shortly after getting called out by Joey and viewers for the video she posted, gwinie_the_pooh deleted her TikTok account.

John Cena admits he’s looking into Twitch and NFTs – Dexerto
John Cena admits he’s looking into Twitch and NFTs Gage Skidmore, Wikimedia Commons16-time WWE world champion John Cena has admitted he’s been learning about Twitch streamers and NFTs, hinting at a jump into the space in the future. The wrestler turned Hollywood star has just wrapped up filming on the PEACEMAKER series for HBO Max, premiering on January 13. Many of his fans will be wondering where they can get their next dose of hustle, loyalty, and respect – and interestingly, it might not be a TV series or a new film on the big screen. In a fresh foray into popular culture, the 44-year-old has admitted that he wants to get a better grip on Twitter, which explains his mass following of accounts on the platform. At the time of writing, his account follows over 365,000 people. While this dwarfs his following of 13.4 million, it’s certainly a lot more than other stars of his profile. Looking at other former WWE champs: Dwayne Johnson, for example, only follows 330 people – a lucky few. AEW star CM Punk follows just 357 other users. John Cena says he’s exploring Twitch & NFTs During an episode of the Pardon My Take podcast, Cena explained why he’s taking such an open approach to social platforms. After confirming that he’s active on Twitter and Instagram, he said: “It’s tough to follow the timelines because of the amount of people I follow, but I’m trying to learn more about the world. “I just went into a rabbit hole following EDM dance culture, and Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs), and also Twitch streamers because I know nothing about any of these avenues of the world.” Comparing these things to WWE, he continued: “There’s fandom to there, and there’s passion to there, and there’s performers and stories.” Why does John Cena follow so many people on Twitter? The former WWE champ admitted that Twitter’s daily follow limit of 1,000 people per day makes the exercise boring, but remains firm that learning about the social media platforms he uses will allow him to develop an even thicker skin. “The end product for me is that I get a greater scope of what’s going on, and I can learn stuff about stuff I don’t know about, hopefully, create a community. If you have seen the people I follow on Twitter, hopefully maybe you will have seen some of the messages I sent.” Read More: Is getting DMCA banned the new Twitch meta? – Despite years of on-screen success with Monday Night RAW, SmackDown, and the PPV offerings WWE programming puts on for its audience, Cena says he’s still looking to explore philosophical conversations with fans – like the purpose, and meaning of life. Whether he’s looking to build out that community by engaging with them, using the likes of Twitch or NFTs in the future, remains to be seen. In fact, John Cena himself remains to be seen. It would be rude to not make that joke, but anyway, watch this space.

Joey Swoll reveals heart surgery scare doctors had “never” seen before – Dexerto
Joey Swoll reveals heart surgery scare doctors had “never” seen before Instagram: joeyswollJoey Swoll has revealed a recent medical scare after a “routine” procedure went awry. In for a “30-45 minute” operation on his heart, the influencer was left under the knife for six hours in a situation his doctors claimed to have “never seen before.” Swoll is now safely at home resting up after a devastating stroke of poor luck left him needing a “miracle” to make it out unscathed. Originally heading into Hoag Hospital in California for a “routine” heart surgery, the procedure didn’t go as planned, leading to a six-hour panic in which doctors tried to remedy the issue. During the operation, an angiogram on his heart, a process intended to check blood circulation and spot any blockages, Swoll revealed how a “piece of the tool” the doctors used, ended up detaching and falling off “inside [his] heart.” As you would expect, this greatly complicated matters. Swoll was only woken up six hours later, after the medical team entered his body “through both sides of [his] groin and [his] wrist” in order to retrieve the detached object. “It was a miracle,” Swoll told his legion of fans online. “The doctor has never seen this happen before,” the mega-popular fitness influencer continued, before assuring fans he’s now back home and resting up. “Feeling great but just very physically and mentally beat up. I still feel like I’m on that table looking up at the beige ceiling and bright light as I lie there helpless.” While obviously not how the procedure was meant to go, Swoll did reveal the diagnostic procedure has shown his heart to be “the best it’s ever been. I’m 100% for the first time in years.” Swoll then thanked the medical staff for their work. For now, Swoll is eager to get back on the work grind, but not before some crucial rest. In the meantime, the tool that became detached in his body is “being sent in for diagnostics and a full report.” No doubt, Swoll will share further details when he gets the full report, having outlined how his “main concern is this never happening to anyone again.”

Joey Swoll slams Chelsea star for trying to embarrass man in gym on his Instagram – Dexerto
Joey Swoll slams Chelsea star for trying to embarrass man in gym on his Instagram TikTok: Joey SwollTikTok star Joey Swoll has gone a bit viral after calling out Chelsea star Mykhailo Mudryk for videoing a man in the gym, telling him to “mind your own business.” Over the last few months, TikTok users have become increasingly obsessed with a few different genres of videos. These have included delivery drivers arguing with customers, people putting companies on blast after a surprise firing, and also mocking those who film their workouts in a gym. The latter of which has spawned a fair few creators who have also amplified the disgust. That includes Joey Swoll, who has racked up close to 7 million followers on TikTok, calling out “toxic” gym-goers. He’s had plenty of interactions with different ‘influencers’ and random TikTok users, but on May 23, he stunned the internet after calling out Chelsea’s Ukrainian football star Mykhailo Mudryk for filming a man. Joey Swoll blasts Chelsea’s Mykhailo Mudryk for calling out gym-goer That’s right, a crossover that barely anyone could have seen coming, but after Mudryk uploaded a short Instagram video questioning a man who was being coached on how to use the rowing machine, Swoll was called into action. “So you see that man at the gym, working hard, trying to better himself with a trainer, he’s in an embarrassing situation where, yes, he’s a little exposed and you decide, hey, let me take a video of it to post on social media to make fun of him, all for attention,” the TikToker said, kicking off his rant. “Really? Pardon my language, but what the f*ck is wrong with you? And you’re a professional soccer player. You play for Chelsea in the Premier League! Is this how you want to represent yourself and your team?” Joey then recanted a story where he had been in a similar situation and decided to offer some help to the rookie gym-goer – which ultimately helped them out. The internet has been pretty stunned by the crossover, with many being shocked he was calling out the £100 million forward. “Joey, even if I tried, I guess I could never express how much I admire you for always taking a stand for what is right,” said one. “Chelsea spent almost 100 mill on Mudryk, just for his most memorable moment this season to be getting cooked by Joey Swoll,” added another. “There’s no way anyone had this on their 2023 bingo card,” another commented.

Joey Swoll calls out bodybuilder who was kicked out of gym for being shirtless – Dexerto
Joey Swoll calls out bodybuilder who was kicked out of gym for being shirtless Joey Swoll/YouTube, chinternationalpro/InstagramJoey Swoll hit out at a gym goer who got upset that he was not allowed to work out in the gym without a shirt on after a manager told him to leave the gym. On September 19, bodybuilder and gym goer Christian H, posted a video from one of his gym workouts on Instagram where the general manager of the gym came up to him to ask him to put his shirt on. Christian responds by saying “You can’t tell me what to do man” before continuing his workout. The general manager then told Christian to pack up his stuff and leave the gym as he escorted him out himself. Christian wrote in the comments of the video: “The general manager walks me out of Golds Gym because I didn’t have my shirt on. It’s funny the general manager is the same person in charge of hiring fat trainers to train people to get fit and then says I’m body-shaming his team !! I’m sorry bro I’m not body shaming ANYONE I’m saying the TRUTH. “If someone is fat is fat if someone is skinny is skinny if someone is in shape is in shape. People are so soft these days, they cannot accept the truth I speak the truth and if someone doesn’t like to be called fat then lose weight no one will call you like that anymore if you are skinny and don’t like it gain weight. I’ve been fat and I’ve been skinny and that’s why I train and workout my body to my standards.” Joey Swoll hits out at body builder’s lack of respect Joey Swoll, who’s made himself known as the internet’s resident gym bro and often makes videos about gym toxiticy, made his own video about Christian, where he said: “So you’re upset with the general manager for asking you, nicely by the way, to put your shirt on. You say to him ‘you can’t tell me what to do.’ “Yes, he can. He’s the general manager, it is literally his job to enforce the rules. Now, there are some private or hardcore body-building gyms out there that will allow you to take your shirt off, this is not one of them, so don’t take your shirt off.” He continued: “And if somebody asks you to put your shirt back on, put your shirt back on. You are not special. Everyone has to follow the same rules. And when someone said this to you, you defended yourself by saying – and this blows my mind – that ‘you’re in America, you should be able to take your shirt off in the gym’. “Or that you’re ‘in better shape than the trainers who work there, you should be able to take your shirt off. Really?” Joey finished his video by saying: “Shoutout at this manager for removing you from the gym and canceling your membership, that was absolutely the right thing to do. You need to learn to respect the rules and respect the staff. You need to do better. Mind your own business.” This is not the only time Joey has hit out at gymgoers. In February the bodybuilder called out a female gymgoer who made fun of an elder man for simply exercising in the gym. Joey’s video soon resulted in the female deleting her social media account altogether.

Joey Swoll demands LA Fitness ban gym-goer for grabbing another member – Dexerto
Joey Swoll demands LA Fitness ban gym-goer for grabbing another member X/Twitter: Joey SwollJoey Swoll is calling for the membership of an LA Fitness gym-goer to be relinquished after they grabbed another man who walked through their workout video. Self-proclaimed “CEO of Gym Positivity,” Joey Swoll, isn’t just popular for his built physique, but also for creating a positive space for gym-goers. Whether it’s calling someone out for their gym behavior or promoting body positivity, Swoll knows a thing or two about how to succeed while working out. In one of his recently viral videos, Swoll stitched a video of a gym-goer grabbing another member as the guy had walked into the gym-goer’s video frame while he was recording his workout. In the video, the gym-goer can be heard saying, “Bruh, don’t walk past my video,” as he pushed him backward out of the way. While the gym-goer continued to swear at the man, the confrontation did not escalate past that point. It is NEVER ok to put your hands on someone like this. I hope @LAFitness removes you. pic.twitter.com/eFw1tKHzLH — Joey Swoll (@TheJoeySwoll) April 12, 2024 After Swoll saw what happened, he took to social media to say you should “never” put your hands on someone else while at the gym or ever. “Until you learn to control yourself, you don’t belong in shared spaces like gyms. So I really hope that LA Fitness sees this and they remove you to protect their members,” Swoll said. Swoll also called the gym-goer out for posting the interaction to their social media, as he thought it was distasteful to “brag” about putting his hands on someone for walking through his video frame. Though Swoll’s opinion may have some pull in the gym world, it is unknown, at this time, if the gym-goer was nixed from LA Fitness or not.

Joe Weller responds to Jake Paul “fake fight accusations” and KSI – Dexerto
Joe Weller responds to Jake Paul “fake fight accusations” and KSI Popular YouTuber Joe Weller has been under fire after it was claimed he was paid to lose a boxing sparring session against Jake Paul, but the British star has now responded. Weller, who made his boxing debut against Olajide ‘KSI’ Olatunji, travelled to Paul’s residence for a sparring session that both YouTube stars agreed would make great content. It was Paul who reigned victorious, hitting Weller with a well-timed body shot as the first round came to a close which left the Englishman unable to continue, sparking celebration from Paul’s vast entourage. The fight has been widely criticized with Daniel ‘KEEMSTAR’ Keem suggesting that he might have been paid to lose the fight and KSI questioned why Weller would walk into Paul’s ‘trap’ as well as featuring in a diss track aimed at himself. Joe Weller responds to Keemstar and KSI Eager to address the fake fight claims, Weller released a video on his YouTube channel stating that he did take a hard hit and wasn’t paid to lose. “If someone was going to fake a boxing match, you’d do it with a convincing knockout punch,” he said. “Not something that just looks shit.” KSI said in his reaction video that Weller should have simply ignored Paul’s request for sparring session but Weller believes that would have been “boring”. He said: “That’s just boring. I liked the idea of going to his back garden and fucking going for it. “Most people would have pussied out of that, but who gives a fuck.” Weller slams Deji and Jake Paul Joe Weller feels that YouTube drama isn’t all what it’s made out to be. Weller also had some choice words for KSI’s brother Oladeji ‘Deji’ Olatunji who also released a reaction video to the fight and mocked Weller for featuring in Paul’s diss track video. He claimed that the drama between Paul and Deji – who fought on the same card as KSI’s fight with Logan Paul – wasn’t what it was made out to be. “Jake said that him and Deji text – they sorted it all out after the fight,” Weller said. “All of this YouTube drama and diss tracks – it’s all for the cameras. It’s not as deep as it’s made out to be.” Weller went on to criticize Paul, after he released his video a day before the pair had agreed to, but admitted he may have done the same thing if the tables were turned. He also said that Paul manipulated the filming of the music video and placed it before the fight to make him look like “his bitch”. Despite officially retiring from boxing in his version of the fight, Weller might well be interested in entering the ring again should the right opponent present themselves.

Joe Weller Predicts the KSI vs Logan Paul Fight and Announces He Wants In – Dexerto
Joe Weller Predicts the KSI vs Logan Paul Fight and Announces He Wants In Joe Weller, the only person to have ever faced KSI in an official boxing match, has given his prediction for the upcoming KSI versus Logan Paul fight. The Weller versus KSI boxing fight on February 3rd of 2018 was one of the biggest events in the history of YouTube, drawing in millions of live viewers and breaking the record for the biggest amateur white collar boxing event in history. KSI won the contest convincingly and looked surprisingly comfortable and confident in the ring before calling out Jake Paul or Logan Paul in his post-fight speech. Eventually, after a great deal of trash talk and posturing, the KSI versus Logan Paul deal signed and the two YouTube sensations are set to face off on August 25th at the Manchester Arena, with a second fight expected to take place in February 2019 somewhere in the USA. As the only person to have fought KSI in the past, Joe Weller can be considered as something of an authority of the British star. With that in mind, his prediction video of the fight should certainly be something that fans are taking notice of. Weller explains that he believes the winner will be the man that feels the most comfortable in the ring, states that this was the obvious difference between himself and KSI in the first fight, and says that he believes this will also be a factor against Logan Paul: “I feel it’s whoever is going to be more comfortable in that ring. What I mean by that is in OUR fight, JJ was far more comfortable and in his element. In that big occasion, you know, he is a showman. He thrives in that situation, whereas me… as much as I felt confident and ready to win, I just lost my head,” He does, however, go on to state that he believes Logan Paul will have a physical advantage due to his size, weight, and strength. Logan Paul was also a high school wrestler and Weller believes that this competition experience is important. Despite losing in their fight, Weller says that he didn’t feel a great deal of power from KSI’s punches and he thinks that he will need to use his speed and movement to tire Logan Paul out before trying to finish him off. Weller also concludes by saying that he wants to get back in the ring and fight on the KSI versus Logan Paul undercard to show what he can really do and prove that he isn’t someone that will give up just because he lost. He’s also keen to fight just about anyone that wants to, it seems. The full video can be viewed below.

Joe Weller Predicts Winner of KSI vs Logan Paul Rematch – Dexerto
Joe Weller Predicts Winner of KSI vs Logan Paul Rematch British YouTuber and music artist Joe Weller has predicted that Logan Paul will take the victory over KSI in their upcoming rematch. Weller, who commentated the YouTubers’ fight at the event’s ringside, broke down the match in a video where he stated that Logan was the true victor – and that he’s a good candidate to take their second fight, as well. While he felt that KSI had fantastic energy and fighting spirit, he held that Logan landed more punches overall. Weller ended up scoring the fight 4 – 2 in Logan’s favor, with the final round going to KSI. He noted that KSI’s conditioning was a major part of his energy, citing Logan Paul’s muscle mass as a huge factor in his exhaustion toward the end of the fight. However, he feels that Paul will slim down and condition himself before their next match – which will prove significant in him taking the victory. “He’s gonna learn from this. I think he will shred right down and condition himself to go a much longer distance… if he can stay energized the whole fight, I can’t not see him winning.” He also felt that Paul dominated the match when he was ‘fresh’ at the beginning of their bout. Weller likewise cited Paul’s short time in training – with his performance following just four months of practice, and with another six months to go, he feels that additional time spent in the gym will only add to his strength. He didn’t count out KSI, though, and predicted that the white-collar boxer might improve “200-fold” ahead of their rematch. Read More: KSI Went on Tinder as ‘The Boxing Champ’ in a Prank Video – and Made Some Unlikely Matches – While no date has been officially announced, the KSI vs Logan Paul match was contracted as a two-fight event, with the second installment set to occur in February 2019.

Joe Weller’s message to the loser of KSI vs Logan Paul might surprise you – Dexerto
Joe Weller’s message to the loser of KSI vs Logan Paul might surprise you YouTube: Joe Weller / KSIYouTuber Joe Weller has sent a heartfelt message to both JJ ‘KSI’ Olatunji and Logan Paul, addressing the eventual loser of their fight as their boxing match creeps closer. KSI vs Logan Paul is the biggest rivalry in the history of YouTube boxing, but often the roots of this viral sensation are forgotten, which saw Brit Joe Weller step into the squared circle in an unsuccessful effort against KSI. Now, with the Staples Center set to play host to the biggest YouTube combat sports events ever, the 23-year-old has sent a message to the competitors, explaining what it’s like to lose, and urging them not to make the same mistake he feels he made inside the ring. Joe Weller lost to KSI in February 2018. The YouTuber watched a clip of KSI describing the feeling of defeat as the “worst,” agreeing with his rival before explaining what makes the loss so tough to get over almost two years on, what the pair need to do to make sure they don’t feel the same way. “You work so hard aiming that there is only one outcome, not even considering losing,” Weller explained. “There’s an element of blocking it out, but when you do go back and think about it it’s like unlocking a box, and the emotion does come back.” “For seven months of my life, I absolutely dedicated myself. On the night, I essentially froze. I just didn’t turn up. To lose in that manner, that’s what hurts the most. That’s what I’m going to say to you boys. Even if you lose this fight, make sure you give absolutely everything you can, because that will be the thing you regret if you don’t turn up and perform.” The YouTuber revealed that he stills receives messages about his loss no matter what he posts, and says he is constantly reminded about it by KSI fans, who call him salty and say he’s upset that he lost, something Weller openly acknowledges. In fact, his experience is the reason he wants Logan Paul to win the fight, so his long-time rival can “see what it’s like to go through this as the person who made it happen” to him, before admitting that he still feels like he hasn’t overcome the effects of losing the match. The good news for fans is that they won’t have long to wait to find out who the eventual winner and loser of the fight will be, as the pair are set to return to action on November 9 in Los Angeles, California. While their first bout ended in a majority draw after going to the judge’s scorecards, both men have predicted they will knock the other out before the final bell sounds.

Joe Weller escorted by KSI’s security following close scrap during weigh-in – Dexerto
Joe Weller escorted by KSI’s security following close scrap during weigh-in Joe Weller was quickly escorted away from KSI by security after things got heated between the two YouTube boxing pioneers during KSI’s weigh-in. It’s been almost five years since we saw Joe Weller and KSI step into the ring for the first time and kick off the world of YouTube boxing. Many thought their beef would be left behind in the Copperbox arena after their bout in early 2018, but seemingly not. During KSI’s weigh-in for his return to the ring on August 27 — where he’ll be facing two opponents in one night — things got a little heated between the two old acquaintances. Shortly after KSI weighed in at just under 180lbs, while talking to the DAZN hosts he noticed Weller standing in the distance. “Hey, hi Joe Weller. How are you doing, bro? F***k you. I don’t know why you are on this event,” he said. The British YouTube star then taunted his former rival by making fun of the way he was standing in the crowd, “Bro why is this man, bro why are you standing like that?” The snarky comment made Joe furious, and he then began to walk up to KSI. However, he was quickly escorted away by the entourage of security before what could’ve been the start of a brawl between the two. Timestamp at 1:09:00 JJ was then asked for his thoughts on Weller: “Ayo f**k Joe Weller man, f**k Joe Weller bro I don’t care he’s a b*tch bro. I’ve said he’s a b*tch, he’s always f**king hated me and tough luck. I’ve knocked him out the first time and I’ll do it again trust.” Following the altercation, Joe took to Twitter where he reminded his fans to always stand up for themselves. He even joked about carrying the event after their close feud went trending on Twitter. It’s unlikely we’ll see the two of them fighting each other again, especially with KSI’s lists of future opponents constantly growing. However, it sure was a throwback for fans to remember what started this all in the first place.

But now, Weller has revealed the real reason behind a secret parking lot fight they had before their February 2018 boxing match. For a short while, KSI and Joe Weller were some of the biggest names on YouTube, especially in the lead up and aftermath of their boxing match. The fight saw Olatunji make headlines as winner by Technical Knockout about 90 seconds in, but in 2019 he revealed it wasn’t actually their first fight — and they had gone at it before. At the time, KSI said that their first fight — which took place off-camera in an underground London parking lot — was due to beef over a girl that he had relations with who Joe allegedly had feelings for. Now, Weller himself has gone on JaackMaate’s Happy Hour podcast to reveal what really happened way before the idea for the official fight had even been penned. “I was in my Mini Cooper and he was in his Porsche,” Weller said, “and he thinks it’s funny to go up to my car and slowly try to push it with his car. He’s probably doing more damage to his car, but obviously I’m f**king livid.” He continued: “We get out and I literally go up to him and just floor him. I literally just grab him and shove him to the floor… It wasn’t really a fight, more just like… ‘don’t’.” Timestamp 0:12 Joe goes on to discuss the initial implication made by KSI that it was over a girl, saying that it wasn’t and had nothing to do with her, but also added that there was always an “alpha male” type of rivalry between the two of them. The funny thing is, both KSI and Weller agree that the latter won that first fight — but had he got the win when it mattered, inside the ring, the YouTube landscape could look pretty different right now.

Joe Weller confronts Jake Paul face-to-face for showing him “no respect” – Dexerto
Joe Weller confronts Jake Paul face-to-face for showing him “no respect” YouTube pair. It seems like every major YouTuber from across the UK and the USA are currently in Los Angeles in anticipation of the big rematch, set to take place in the Staples Center on November 9, with KSI’s first boxing opponent Joe Weller creating content around the spectacle. This led to Weller infiltrating an interview Paul was having with another outlet to question him for showing “no respect” in a YouTube upload earlier in the year, showing Weller being knocked out during a sparring session. Asking why he put his video out the day before their agreed date, the former-Disney star simply said “I do what I want,” before telling Weller that “at that time, I didn’t have respect for you.” When Weller starts to question his judgment and why he would choose not to respect people like that, Paul gets heated and accuses Weller of trying to make him look stupid in the interview. The two continue to act slightly hostile towards each other, with Weller eventually questioning whether Jake would be acting in this way if there were no cameras around. Paul, naturally, defended himself, saying that he’s the same person on- and off-camera, calling Weller “childish” for being “upset at what time videos are posted at.” The pair eventually have a chat off-camera, and Joe said that Paul was different backstage, telling him he respects him and loves his content. Weller says he believes that they’re cool but he’ll just let him “do what he wants to do.” With both internet personalities taking to the ring for the first two YouTube boxing events, they’re evidently not afraid of physical confrontation, so maybe a match between these two could be on the cards one day.

Joe Weller assures fans he’s safe after rumors of his disappearance spread on Twitter – Dexerto
Joe Weller assures fans he’s safe after rumors of his disappearance spread on Twitter Twitter: joe_weller_British YouTuber Joe Weller has assured fans of his safety after disappearing from Twitter on September 28 for a trip into the Amazon Rainforest. Joe Weller is a well-known British internet personality who helped spearhead the current influencer-boxing craze with his bout against KSI in 2018. Since then, Weller hasn’t stepped into the ring, but has remained involved in the scene and is currently fielding challenges from the likes of JiDion… but his boxing pursuits aren’t what people are buzzing about right now. On September 28, Weller announced that he would be heading into the Amazon Rainforest for twelve days to film a YouTube series with fellow creator Elliot Crawford. However, fans were zeroing in on another tweet he’d published on the same day, in which he wrote: “There’s gonna be no phone signal from tomorrow, so if you ain’t heard from us by 13th October, then we’ve f**ked it.” Considering his warnings that he and Crawford might encounter “cannibals” during their trip roughing it in the rainforest, fans started to become concerned when the 13 came and went with no word from Weller. As the days passed, viewers worried that Weller had gotten into a spot of trouble — but some fans pointed out that Weller had been active on social media, saying he’d apparently liked a few posts but hadn’t published any tweets since September 28 (although this hasn’t been confirmed). Joe Weller returns to Twitter after Amazon Rainforest trip sparks concern Luckily, it looks like Weller is safe and sound, as the YouTuber officially returned to Twitter on October 20 (7 days after his scheduled comeback) with a long-awaited update. He posted a photo of himself looking worse for wear in the outdoors, simply captioned, “Alive. Video out in November.” Fans are relieved he’s safe and excited to see Weller’s upcoming series, which at the time of writing, doesn’t have a specific release date with the exception of November 2022. It’s unclear if his trek in the rainforest will help his boxing regimen should he take JiDion up on his fight offer, though.

Joe Weller Believes KSI Has One Major Vulnerability Ahead of Logan Paul Fight – Dexerto
Joe Weller Believes KSI Has One Major Vulnerability Ahead of Logan Paul Fight KSI’s first boxing opponent, Joe Weller, reckons he had a major weakness in his fighting ability that Logan Paul may be able to exploit in their upcoming bout. Now only days away, the fight will take place on August 25, as KSI tries to hold on to his unbeaten record up against the American Logan, who has the advantage in height and reach. KSI’s most obvious advantage is his experience, and that comes from Joe Weller himself, who was comfortably beaten by KSI back in 2017. But, despite the rather one sided loss for Weller, he still thinks he has discovered what could well be KSI’s downfall. Using footage from KSI’s face to face with Logan, where he explains how he will work the body shot, Joe Weller recalls he did the same thing in their fight, but it leaves KSI vulnerable. “I remember in our fight, I think it was round 2, that JJ started going to my body. He would throw by dropping his arm, almost like an uppercut to the body. But it would leave [the right side of his face] so open. So if Logan can clock on to that, and throw the counter left hook as [KSI] drops that right hand to body, I think little things like that will seriously throw JJ off. And that is where the technique of JJ could fault him, that’s what could let him down.” Given Logan’s height advantage, KSI’s plan to work on the body is probably his best bet in the early stages, but he will need to ensure he is fast and aware enough to avoid the counters. With the fight only days away, the time for planning and preparation is likely behind the fighters now though, and it just comes down to who is most composed on the night. You can watch the fight live on the official KSI vs Logan Paul YouTube channel, but it is a pay-per-view live event, costing £7.50 to purchase access. It takes place at the Manchester Arena, UK, and is expected to pull in a sell out crowd.

Joe Rogan’s new Texas podcast studio move imminent after teasing details – Dexerto
Joe Rogan’s new Texas podcast studio move imminent after teasing details Spotify: The Joe Rogan Experience / Instagram: joeroganJoe Rogan has teased details for a new and improved podcast studio on episode 1626 of The Joe Rogan Experience with Alex Honnold, revealing a new neon sign for the project via Instagram. In September 2020, Joe finally made his move from LA to Austin, Texas, and with that move came a change of scenery in the podcast studio, opting for a more futuristic design with bright red lighting and a cylinder-shaped room. However, the new studio was not popular among fans, with many calling it “tacky.” This led to Rogan toning down the redness for subsequent episodes – though some viewers are still not satisfied. Recently, he’s been hinting at an upgrade from the temporary space to a new studio, which could see a return to the aspects of the original podcast studio that many fans miss. In episode 1626 of the podcast with rock climber Alex Honnold, Joe explained that Alex is one of the only people to have seen the new podcast studio so far. Alex jokingly described the current studio as being “somewhat close to cubicle life,” with Rogan responding, “This is first of all completely voluntary. We’ve created it.” Topic starts at 60:20 Alex went on to say, “No, of course. I mean the actual feeling of like, we are inside this tiny little thing.” The podcaster agreed, saying, “yeah, we are inside a weird thing,” going on to say, “But you’ve seen the new one. You’re one of the rare people that’s seen the new one. Which is a little bit bigger.” Joe has been keeping fans posted on the progress on the studio behind the scenes, and has also revealed images of a new neon ‘Joe Rogan Experience’ sign made by Austin-based Roadhouse Relics, which he says is part of the “new studio project.” View this post on Instagram With the pieces of the studio coming together, it looks like viewers could be seeing Rogan in front of a new background sooner than expected, which will come as a relief to those who aren’t happy with the current space.

Joe Rogan’s Spotify dominance finally revealed & it dwarfs every other podcast – Dexerto
Joe Rogan’s Spotify dominance finally revealed & it dwarfs every other podcast Spotify: Joe RoganJoe Rogan’s dominance over the Spotify charts has finally, properly, been revealed as the streaming platform now shows follower numbers for podcasts. When Joe Rogan first made the switch to being a Spotify-exclusive podcast back in 2020, there were plenty of reports that the JRE Podcast brought millions of new subscribers to the streaming platform. Some reports claimed as many as 14 million new accounts were made during his initial exclusivity, and that tallied a bit given that Rogan would constantly dominate the podcast charts with each new episode. The JRE host has since dropped his exclusivity with Spotify as the podcast has returned to all its previous platforms – including YouTube. However, he has penned a new “multi-year” deal with Spotify to keep his show on there as well. And, well, it’s easy to see why Spotify wants to keep Rogan around now that they’re finally showing follower counts for podcasts. As per a new Bloomberg report, Rogan has amassed over 14.5 million followers on Spotify. That is almost three times as many as the next popular podcast – TED Talks Daily – which has 5 million. Rogan’s dominance on Spotify’s worldwide charts has constantly been challenged in the UK, especially by Steven Bartlett’s show A Diary of a CEO. However, that only has 1.6 million followers. As per Bloomberg, these numbers can be found on the Spotify mobile app, and clicking a small square on the podcast’s main page will show a preview of the most recent episode. The follower number then appears on the right-hand side, much like TikTok. This feature doesn’t work for every podcast, nor does it appear on Spotify’s desktop app.

Joe Rogan “worried” about comedians after Dave Chappelle attack – Dexerto
Joe Rogan “worried” about comedians after Dave Chappelle attack YouTube/JREComedian and UFC commentator Joe Rogan discussed the attack on Dave Chappelle on his podcast, explaining why he’s concerned about more of these incidents happening in the future. On May 3, legendary comedian Dave Chappelle was attacked on stage at the Hollywood Bowl during a Netflix festival. The comedian was unharmed and security rushed the stage shortly thereafter, delivering a beatdown on the suspect, who allegedly used a weird gun-like knife during the attack. Police charged 23-year-old Isaiah Lee with several misdemeanors, but prosecutors dropped a felony assault with a deadly weapon charge, causing Rogan to speak out. Footage of the attacker leaving by ambulancepic.twitter.com/9sqXbjJkSm — Dexerto (@Dexerto) May 4, 2022 Joe Rogan slams prosecutors following Dave Chappelle attack On Instagram, Rogan took issue with the fact prosecutors dropped the felony charges, commenting how the situation was “never good.” “When you see that a person commits a clear crime, and does it to one of the most loved performers alive, and does it in a very high profile public setting, and it gets captured on video, and you don’t charge that person for what they obviously did, it’s the kind of thing that makes people lose faith in law enforcement,” he wrote. On his podcast, Joe further addressed the attack, saying he spoke with Dave and he was fine, but expressed concern that more attacks could be coming for other comedians in the future. View this post on Instagram Joe Rogan blames Will Smith for Dave Chappelle attack “We live in strange times,” the JRE host said. “The Chris Rock thing, that’s one of the things I was worried about, I was like, ‘are people thinking they’re going to start smacking comedians now?’” This was a reference to the most recent Oscars event where Will Smith got on stage and slapped Chris Rock for a joke he made about Will’s wife, Jada Pinkett Smith. (segment begins at 2:25 for mobile users) “What I’m worried about is people think it’s justified,” Rogan added before going off on reasons why someone might think it’s okay to attack a comedian. Hopefully, Joe’s concerns remain just that and we don’t end up seeing more comedians attacked on stage just because they told a joke someone didn’t like.

Joe Rogan’s new $14.4m Texas mansion in pictures – Dexerto
Joe Rogan’s new $14.4m Texas mansion in pictures Dirt/Joe Rogan Experience[jwplayer smynPnSq]Fans of Joe Rogan have been given an inside look at his brand new Texas home, which is worth a reported $14.4 million – and has some stunning scenery behind it. As anyone who has tuned into a Joe Rogan podcast in the last few months will know, the UFC commentator and podcaster has uprooted himself – swapping California for Texas. The host of the Joe Rogan Experience has already given a few reasons behind the move, including needing a bit more space than what Los Angeles provides and being in the middle of the country so that he travel a little bit easier too. Rogan has already revealed his new podcast studio, though a few have labeled it as looking a bit “tacky,” but now its the turn of his luxurious home – which has a whopping price tag on it. Looks at the podcaster’s new home were revealed by Dirt, who had multiple shots of the inside and outside – while also revealing a few details about what else it offers. The house, which cost a reported $14.4 million, has eight bedrooms and 10 bathrooms – spanning 10,980 square feet. It includes some stunning interior design as well, with huge rooms and a spacious kitchen. Of course, no Texas home is complete without a porch, patio, and pool. Rogan has all three of those on a whopping scale too – as well as plenty of yard space to use. https://www.instagram.com/p/CFlD8UFjOTK/ On top of all that, Rogan has a stunning view of Lake Austin itself, with a jetty that backs on to it – so he has a lovely spot to go boating, if he fancies. It seems unlikely that he’ll give fans a proper tour, he’s not a YouTube vlogger after all, but some shots might pop up on his podcast or Instagram, so keep an eye out for any changes he makes in the future.

Joe Rogan weighs in on Jake Paul “trouble” following FBI raid – Dexerto
Joe Rogan weighs in on Jake Paul “trouble” following FBI raid YouTube: Joe Rogan Experience / Instagram: Jake PaulIn a recent episode of the Joe Rogan Experience podcast, Joe and Tim Dillon reacted to Jake Paul getting raided by the FBI, and discussed their thoughts on the controversial social media star. Jake Paul caused disbelief throughout social media on August 5 when it emerged that his home was being searched by the FBI, seizing firearms that amounted to what TMZ referred to as a “small militia’s” worth. This came in the wake of his investigation under the Scottsdale police for his involvement in the June 5 Arizona shopping mall riot. According to ABC7, these two incidents were related to each other. Joe Rogan is currently under the process of moving from LA to Texas, having criticized the normalized riot culture in places such as California. It was expected that under the circumstances he would have something to say about Jake’s behavior. At first, Joe raised the issue with Jake’s looting controversy. Referencing the raid, he said, “he’s in trouble right now.” Tim joked that “There’s always a brother where you go, you just sit down,” referring to Jake’s relationship with older brother Logan. “Was it an arsenal thing or because he was stealing from the Mall?” Rogan asked about the reason for the FBI’s involvement. Dillon speculates that someone may have ratted Paul out for the weapons at his home. “A guy like that, with that kind of money, I say get more weapons,” Tim joked. The pair did agree that it was actually a good idea to have some kind of weaponry. “When LA falls, these are the only f**ks that are gonna be able to do anything.” Tim said, to which Joe replied “it’s not a bad idea.” Tim talked about how he felt like a “man without a country” due to not fitting in with the LA cliques like the influencers, or the comedians. Joe says he “feel[s] like that too.” Topic starts at 5:40 This follows on from Joe’s growing disdain toward LA culture, saying in podcast #1523 that “I don’t think that this is a healthy way to live” and that “on a regular basis there’s crazy sh*t going on” in the LA area. After the Scottsdale Police Department dismissed their charges against Jake Paul to allow for the FBI to ensure a more thorough investigation, it’s yet unclear what the exact repercussions of these events will be.

Joe Rogan weighs in on Twitch’s body paint rules – Dexerto
Joe Rogan weighs in on Twitch’s body paint rules Joe Rogan / ZombiUnicornA trend has taken off on Twitch recently with body painting streams causing some debate in the community, but UFC commentator and podcast host Joe Rogan says “why not?” Artistic streams and body painting specifically is not entirely new on Twitch generally, but in February 2018, Twitch made explicit mention of body paint and its place on the platform. In an update of community guidelines, they stated that body painting is welcome provided it does not “violate our policies” – which includes being ‘sexually suggestive’. However, what is classified as sexually suggestive is slightly difficult to pin down to an exact science, and Twitch says it will take into account numerous contextual factors and ‘intent’. Attire is meant to be suitable for the activity, which of course makes body painting somewhat of a grey area, but focus on “male or female genitals, buttocks, or nipples” is not permitted. When discussing body painting on Twitch during his November 10 podcast, Rogan said “Why not? If you can wear a skin tight shirt that shows your nipples – and I’m all for that – why can’t a girl paint her tits and make some money?” His guest, Brendan Schaub, plays Devil’s advocate however, posing the question “Can a guy paint his dick and make some money?” After looking at a few examples of Twitch body painting, the pair were both equally surprised that it was allowed on Twitch, but neither appeared to be strongly against it either. Currently, body painting appears to be a tolerated, although not celebrated, portion of content on Twitch, which very finely balances on the line between artistic and creative content and being too ‘sexually suggestive’, and there is no denying the talent that many of these artists display with their work.

Joe Rogan & Whitney Cummings face backlash from H3H3 fans after Hila Klein comment – Dexerto
Joe Rogan & Whitney Cummings face backlash from H3H3 fans after Hila Klein comment Twitter: @TheComedyStore / Instagram: @kleinhilaComedians Joe Rogan & Whitney Cummings have come under fire from H3H3 fans after the UFC commentator made a joke about YouTuber Hila Klein during the Joe Rogan Experience podcast. During the May 18 episode of the Joe Rogan Experience podcast, Whitney Cummings and Rogan were engaged in a discussion about whether audience members still need face coverings while attending comedy shows. Fans of YouTube duo H3H3 Productions became enraged when the Spotify host was critical of Hila Klein. The UFC host singled out the H3 podcast and Teddy Fresh creator for still wearing a mask during an outdoor gig. Joe Rogan & Whitney Cummings under fire for H3H3 comments The discussion popped up during the JRE episode when Joe Rogan and Whitney Cummings reacted to a clip of a live comedy show being performed outdoors. The Spotify host immediately pointed out that one person in the crowd was still wearing a mask. “Who’s wearing the mask?” the Spotify host asked his guest. “That is Hila Klein,” the 2 Broke Girls creator explained. Rogan then praised Hollywood actress Oliva Munn for not wearing a face-covering. “Oliva’s not, she is gangster. Look at her, she is in the front row,” he said, before launching into a rant about masks. “Look at this, people are outside with their mask on, and everyone is tested. That is what is so dumb.” The UFC commentator continued to argue why face coverings were unnecessary: “Even the CDC says you can take your mask off when you are outside. There is no evidence whatsoever. There is no evidence that there is transmission outside. And if you are vaccinated you can take your mask off, inside or outside.” Cummings joined in and exclaimed, “And half of these people are the people that are like “I have a therapist and I’m all about mental health.” You know the worst thing for your mental health is finding more reasons to stay inside.” After the clip surfaced on the H3H3 subreddit, fans of the YouTube duo immediately became furious. Popular pop culture journalist Def Noodles covered the backlash that spilled out on social media. While fans were angry with Rogan’s take, many H3 fans were enraged with Whitney Cummings – who has been a repeat guest and friend of the H3 podcast – for not defending Hila Klein. “Why didn’t you defend Hila?” one user wrote. Another said, “Really sad to see you turn into such a mean girl towards other women.” One comment even read, “Y’all laughed and giggled because Hila was wearing a mask….you’re f**king weird and a co-signer.” https://twitter.com/defnoodles/status/1395404807528009736 Interestingly, this isn’t the first time H3H3 and Rogan have crossed paths. Hila and Ethan Klein were critical of the Spotify comedian in April after the UFC commentator made fun of Frenemies co-host Trisha Paytas’ looks during the JRE podcast. “All I can talk about is what I’ve seen in the last few years [of Joe Rogan’s show], and I just don’t like it at all,” the Teddy Fresh creator said. While it appears that Rogan didn’t know who Hila Klein was, the podcast host has enraged the YouTuber duo’s fan base by singling her out for wearing a mask. Many were quick to point out that she has a child and shouldn’t be mocked for doing what makes her feel comfortable or safe. At the time of writing, Whitney Cummings also hasn’t made a response to the controversy. Much of the backlash seems to be aimed at the popular comedian, particularly because she has been a repeat guest on the H3 podcast over the last few years.

Joe Rogan weighs in on how hypnotism might have made Mike Tyson better – Dexerto
Joe Rogan weighs in on how hypnotism might have made Mike Tyson better YouTube: PowerfulJRE / Wikimedia CommonsReflecting on the iconic boxing record of Mike Tyson, Joe Rogan debated alongside Eddie Bravo and Brendan Schaub as to whether hypnosis played a pivotal role in his rise to glory. One of the all-time greats in combat sports history, Mike Tyson was a feared competitor throughout his dominant region in the heavyweight division during the late 1980s. While he might have been blessed with undeniable genetics and clearly worked harder than the rest to keep his spot on top of the boxing mountain for so many years, Joe Rogan recently weighed in on the impact of hypnosis throughout his legendary career. Throughout the latest Fight Companion podcast, Rogan, Bravo, and Schaub got sidetracked by all sorts of martial arts-related tangents while tuning into UFC Fight Night: Felder vs Hooker. After bringing up the remarkable career of Tyson, the group stopped to question whether or not hypnosis might have been the factor that gave him the edge throughout his run at the top. “He hypnotized him into being a machine,” Rogan expressed, highlighting the impact of Tyson’s former manager and trainer, Cus D’amato. “You don’t exist, it’s just the task,” he emphasized. “You relax, you totally focus on nothingness,” Tyson explained during his 2019 sit down with Rogan. “You go under and you’re just being this savage, intelligent animal.” Questioning whether hypnosis “actually worked,” Schaub appeared to be the most resistant to the idea that it played a pivotal role in Tyson’s preparation. “For sure it had an effect,” Rogan quickly countered. “He would get hypnotized before the fights backstage,” Bravo chimed in. All too familiar with coaching elite-level MMA talent around the world, he questioned why current UFC fighters haven’t employed the same tactic if it worked so well. “Look at his face in his early fights. He looked like a murderer,” he joked. Going back and forth on just how big of a role the early hypnosis might have played, Rogan explained how “there were so many factors” involved in Tyson’s rise to the top that hypnotism shouldn’t be elevated above his work ethic. “There’s so much that led to him becoming, at least for a few years, the greatest heavyweight boxer ever,” Rogan added. “First of all, it was his terrible childhood. Then all of a sudden he finds out he’s crazy physically gifted. He winds up with one of the all-time great boxing coaches. He’s up in the [Catskill Mountains], in this secluded environment so he can concentrate only on boxing. He’s watching this insane library of fights.” From Rogan’s perspective, while hypnotism might have been important in building Tyson’s confidence, all of the aforementioned factors are what made him into such a dominant champion. “I hate to be that guy, but they didn’t test back then,” Schaub commented before the conversation came to an end, hinting that Tyson’s success at the time might have been aided by some performance-enhancing drugs. While it has only been a year since Tyson was last on Rogan’s podcast, perhaps the two will link up again in the near future to shed more light on the impact of hypnosis, and whether it was a key in Kid Dynamite’s rise to the top.

Joe Rogan weighs in on Bradley Martyn’s odds against former UFC fighters: “No chance” – Dexerto
Joe Rogan weighs in on Bradley Martyn’s odds against former UFC fighters: “No chance” X: BradleyMartyn / ONE ChampionshipWhen it comes to Bradley Martyn’s odds against former UFC fighters, Joe Rogan believes that the bodybuilder influencer has “zero chance.” The potential match-ups between YouTuber and bodybuilder Bradley Martyn and former UFC fighters Demetrious Johnson and Mike Perry have reignited the debate of size versus skill in combat sports. Jake Paul, who recently defeated former UFC contender Nate Diaz in a boxing match, has offered Martyn a seven-figure sum to fight Mike Perry in a ‘street fight,’ saying it’s time for Martyn to “man up or shut up.” Perry has already accepted the offer, but Martyn, notorious for his size advantage, remains silent. Joe Rogan, the outspoken commentator, has now weighed in on these potential fights, and his verdict is clear: Martyn stands “no chance.” During a Fight Companion episode of The Joe Rogan Experience, Rogan and former UFC fighter Brendan Schaub discussed the potential fights. When Schaub mentioned that Mike Perry had agreed to fight Martyn, Rogan was quick to give his opinion. “Oh, he’ll beat the sh*t out of Bradley,” he said, referring to Perry. Rogan further praised Perry, saying, “Yeah, he is uniquely qualified.” Rogan’s comments on the potential fight between Martyn and Demetrious “Mighty Mouse” Johnson were similarly dismissive of Martyn’s chances. “Bradley Martin has no chance… He has no chance. Zero chance,” Rogan said. “He’s 100% going to get choked out.” However, he did acknowledge Martyn’s strength and size advantages, saying, “Bradley is enormous, and Bradley is so f***ing strong. He’s an athlete. He’s a f***ng specimen.” Rogan then offered a stark warning for Johnson, declaring that “The thing about Bradley is that he can hit you with the Earth… If that guy can pick you up and smash you into the ground, your body would shatter.” Despite Rogan’s predictions, Martyn seems unfazed. After Rogan’s comments about the potential fight with Johnson, Martyn took to Twitter, posting Rogan’s comments with laughing emojis. While there’s no confirmation of either fight yet, the potential match-ups have certainly sparked interest and debate.

Joe Rogan wants Elon Musk to buy TikTok amid $44 billion Twitter deal – Dexerto
Joe Rogan wants Elon Musk to buy TikTok amid $44 billion Twitter deal YouTube: Joe Rogan/ByteDanceJoe Rogan wants Elon Musk to purchase TikTok from ByteDance after criticizing the platform for being “rough” with banning accounts and videos. While also being the richest man on the planet, Elon Musk has carved out a pretty impressive social media following. The South African billionaire has become well-known on Twitter for his willingness to get involved with memes and online jokes. He’s even been trying to buy the social media platform for a reported $44 billion, though, there have been reports that he may just pull out of the deal before it can be completed. Musk’s attempted purchase of Twitter has split plenty of opinions, but Joe Rogan is in support of it. The UFC Commentator even celebrated during his podcast when the reported that a deal had been agreed, but he wants the 50-year-old to buy TikTok as well. The jubilant celebrations happened during episode 1809 of the Joe Rogan Experience, as the podcasting giant spoke to fellow podcaster Jessica Kirson. While Rogan touched on Twitter ‘shadowbanning’ accounts, Kirson noted that she’d had similar punishments from TikTok, with her posts being removed on a regular basis. “TikTok is rough for that,” Rogan said about videos being deleted and profiles being hit with suspensions. “I think they don’t want anything to interrupt ad revenue and anything. Maybe Elon will buy TikTok next!” Timestamp of 1:00 The former Fear Factor host noted that striking a deal with ByteDance, the owners of TikTok, might be difficult however but he’d like to see Musk buy it. While he admitted he doesn’t use the platform, maybe Rogan would hop on board if it went under new ownership – especially someone who he has had on his podcast before.

Joe Rogan warns viewers about working in the restaurant industry – Dexerto
Joe Rogan warns viewers about working in the restaurant industry Pixabay/JoeRoganPopular podcast host and UFC commentator Joe Rogan warned his viewers that working in the food and restaurant industries may not be all it’s cracked up to be during a show with chef Phillip Frankland Lee. Joe Rogan has quite the interesting diet, partaking in an all-meat and fruit diet for January 2022. But that doesn’t mean he doesn’t know a thing or two about dining. During episode 1765 of the Joe Rogan Experience, the podcaster and his guest discussed the “grind” of working in a kitchen with the UFC voice noting that he dated a girl who went to college for restaurant and hotel management. Rogan recalled that, when she got a job at a restaurant, he would go to visit her, claiming the two were having relationship trouble over her career. (Topic begins at 2:40) Rogan recalls dating someone in the restaurant industry “I remember I would go visit her, and she was f**king miserable,” he explained. “She couldn’t believe the hours that she had to work.” Phillip Frankland Lee chimed in, saying that to work in the industry, you need to love it, otherwise it might not be right for you. “She just wanted a career. She went to school, and she graduated from school, and then she got this job. And then she had this boyfriend who was a f**k-up, stand-up comedian. So it was very weird for her,” Rogan added, saying he had his days completely free while she worked long hours. According to his chef guest, a job like that comes with sacrifices, such as not being there for loved one’s birthdays and other important occasions. “People listening, if you are thinking about going down this path, prepare yourself,” Rogan warned. Whether or not ambitious chefs will heed Rogan’s words remains to be seen, but it’s clear that Rogan has experienced second-hand restaurant pain and knows some of the difficulties that come from working in that industry.

Joe Rogan under fire over allegedly transphobic comments on his podcast – Dexerto
Joe Rogan under fire over allegedly transphobic comments on his podcast Joe Rogan Experience/SpotifyComedian and UFC analyst Joe Rogan is under fire again, after critics accused him of being transphobic following a discussion on his podcast on the topic. Among a ton of other ventures, Rogan is mostly known these days for his viral podcast, the Joe Rogan Experience, which regularly draws in millions of listeners per episode. Considering how big the show has become, though, it’s no surprise that everything the host says gets put under a microscope – which is exactly what happened shortly after a March 19 episode with fellow comedian Jim Breuer went live. While discussing the trans community with Breuer, Rogan questioned what he considers to be the current mainstream attitude towards the topic of transitioning. “It’s not fake,” Rogan said. “There are people who really have these thoughts. The problem is, it becomes a protected subject, and then you get praised for transferring your gender — for changing your gender. And then it gets exciting for people to talk about, and then you get chastised for even discussing it in any weird way.” Rogan also complained about how he feels the transgender identity is being used by some for unconditional praise from their peers. “Then people who were marginalized for being — like, generally dumb people, if they transfer over and become another gender, then they get praised,” the host continued. “There are a lot of people who are idiots, but then they become trans, and now all of a sudden we think they’re amazing.” Rogan and Breuer only continued on the topic briefly, but their pit stop resulted in another round of accusations of transphobia for the former Fear Factor host. According to Digital Media News, their site received “multiple emails” from people upset about the discussion, and criticisms of the host soon started popping up on social media, as well. “Rogan is a bigot & actively still spreads harmful misinformation about trans people and trans issues,” one Twitter user claimed. “He’s not an ‘open minded, reasonable guy,’ he’s just an asshole & he’s been an asshole for a long time.” Rogan is a bigot & actively still spreads harmful misinformation about trans people and trans issues. But please don’t take his advice on trans issues — 🌺CherryChase🍒 (@CCherryCChase) March 19, 2021 Rogan has dealt with accusations of transphobia before, notably back in 2020, when he responded at length to accusations in the media specifically calling him transphobic and homophobic. Joe Rogan utterly perplexed by NFTs as Reggie Watts tries to explain crypto – Dexerto
Joe Rogan utterly perplexed by NFTs as Reggie Watts tries to explain crypto YouTube: PowerfulJREOn the JRE podcast, Reggie Watts tried to clear up Joe’s confusion about the world of NFTs and cryptocurrency — but that wasn’t as easy as it might have seemed. NFTs are one of the latest crazes in the crypto space, with some selling for millions of dollars, and stars like Logan Paul jumping on the hype with some of their own. However, NFTs are proving to be a rather baffling topic for many — including Joe Rogan. After the topic of NFTs came up on episode 1648 of the JRE podcast with guest Reggie Watts, Joe immediately took the opportunity to try and gain a bit more insight into the confusing topic. “Hold, please. Explain NFTs to people that don’t know what you’re talking about,” he said. “Because I don’t know what you’re talking about. I do, but I don’t. I know it’s a Non-Fungible token. I’m not exactly sure what that means.” They ended up having to Google the word ‘fungible’ to try and break down the meaning of the acronym: “Of goods contracted for without an individual specimen being specified) replaceable by another identical item; mutually interchangeable.” But looking up the definition only seemed to make things worse, with Rogan responding, “okay, I understand it even less now.” Reggie then decided to take his own approach in trying to explains NFTs to the podcaster. “I’ve made a 30-second video of me running around a park or something like that,” he began. “If I wanna make that non-fungible, then I mint it. And by minting I mean you use a minting service like Foundation or Zora, there’s many others.” “You get a crypto wallet, you get the crypto wallet set up. You put money in it, it’s converted into the crypto of your choice. Let’s say ETH, which is very popular. Ethereum.” However, the mention of the cryptocurrency only seemed to confuse Joe more, seeming to have never heard of it before. He described the fact that people like Beeple have sold NFTs for up to $69 million as “stunning” and asked: “How would you go about being actually rich with this. Like how does Beeple go from this to being a baller?” Reggie explained: “Well you know they bid, whoever bids, just like a regular auction, and then they bid using crypto, and the crypto’s transferred before they transfer the file.” It’s not clear whether Joe was any less confused on the subject by the end of the conversation, but it seems as the viewers were in the same boat, with one YouTube commenter writing, “this video was supposed to clear up NFT, now I’m more confused.” The Joe Rogan Experience podcast recently finally moved to a new studio in Texas, with the design looking more like his original studio that many fans loved before he moved to his previous temporary studio.

Joe Rogan under fire for Olympics vs UFC fighter pay stance – Dexerto
Joe Rogan under fire for Olympics vs UFC fighter pay stance YouTube/PowerfulJREJoe Rogan is being criticized for his contrasting stances on pay for athletes participating in the Olympics, and fighters for the UFC, with some calling the podcaster ‘hypocritical.’ The Joe Rogan Experience is without a doubt one of the biggest podcasts on the internet, with the show’s YouTube channel at over 10 million subscribers. With Rogan also being a UFC commentator, he’s always quick to share his take on the latest news in the sporting scene. As the Olympics fast approach, he spoke about his stance on athletes and the IOC in episode 1681 of his podcast, touching on the controversial ban of sprinter Sha’Carri Richardson. “All the winners of the gold medals, all those people that are generating insane amounts of wealth for the Olympics, they should get a giant piece of that,” he said. Speaking about the huge amount of money that the event generates, he added: “The networks are making it, and the IOC is making it and all these other people are making it and the athletes, the whole reason people are tuning in, they get nothing. It’s insane. It’s a disgusting, corrupt system.” However, in a video uploaded to Reddit by Comrade-Bubba, clips of Rogan’s comments have been spliced with comments he’s made in the past on the UFC fighters in their ongoing battle for better payouts – a topic even Jake Paul has jumped on as well. “The UFC has to be profitable,” he said. “In order to be sold to someone like WME, it has to be valuable. In order for it to be valuable, it has to be profitable. In order for it to be something that they can promote and get behind and make it as big as they’ve made it, there has to be some sort of pot of gold at the end of the rainbow for these people.” He went on to add: “Like I said, I’m always for fighters getting paid more money but I just, I don’t know if that would ever work.” Joe Rogan criticized for conflicting stance Viewers praised the well-edited video and quickly shared their thoughts on Rogan’s comments. “Are you telling me that Joe is inconsistent and his opinion shifts when it’s convenient for him?” one Reddit user wrote. Others pointed out his ‘hypocrisy’ when it comes to the contrasting stances. “I haven’t listened to Rogan in a while,” they said. “Never really liked him as a personality. This is definitely one of his most hypocritical points. ‘The Olympics are disgusting’, yeah Joe, and the UFC is squeaky clean.” Some also slammed him for not taking responsibility over his actions and his platform. With the Olympics fast approaching, it’s likely that Rogan will have more to say on the topic as it progresses.

Joe Rogan under fire for taking controversial medicine meant for horses – Dexerto
Joe Rogan under fire for taking controversial medicine meant for horses Joe Rogan / Breaking PointsJoe Rogan posted a video on September 1 saying he feels “great” after falling ill, revealing he’d used “livestock” drug Ivermectin among a “kitchen sink of meds” to self-treat. The FDA has said that using Ivermectin for this purpose can cause “serious harm.” After previously dismissing traditional treatments, Joe Rogan stated that he self-medicated with Ivermectin. The move has generated scathing criticism from some, but Joe explained in his video that he’s now feeling “great.” The FDA warns against the ingestion of Ivermectin, but what actually is it? Fans felt concerned for the podcast host Some onlookers branded the move “controversial.” One user claimed that the purpose of use was “right there” on the box. Other users mocked the host for “trusting his immune system” while taking “monoclonal antibodies.” Joe Rogan: I trust my immune system Also Joe Rogan: I got covid so I took monoclonal antibodies, Ivermectin, vitamin drip, mermaid tears, hair follicles from a newborn, toe fungus ointment, unicorn bone marrow, and the blood from a virgin pic.twitter.com/NR5qUexpHy— Nathan Wind (@matty_angles) September 2, 2021 Radio producer Jack Schwartz posted Joe’s video and told his followers to “stop taking horse de-wormer.” Joe Rogan got Covid and decided to take Ivermectin Jfc Stop taking horse dewormer and get vaccinated pic.twitter.com/S4fkgnNf3R — Zach Schwartz (@zachzachzach) September 1, 2021 What is Ivermectin? On May 3, the FDA published a document detailing how not to use the drug. In a warning to consumers, they stated that “using treatment that’s not approved by the FDA… can be very dangerous.” Ivermectin should not be used to lessen the effects of viruses. Certain forms of Ivermectin are used to treat heartworm in animals. Other varieties are fit for human consumption, but should only be used for the authorized reasons. According to the FDA, “Ivermectin tablets are approved to treat people… with parasitic worms.” A lesser version, “topical Ivermectin,” may be used to treat “head lice and rosacea.” They continue, “taking large doses of this drug is dangerous and can cause serious harm.” Pharmacies are currently reporting shortages of the drug, with around 88,000 prescriptions carried out a week. Joe Rogan offers to train Elon Musk after Vladimir Putin “fight” challenge – Dexerto
Joe Rogan offers to train Elon Musk after Vladimir Putin “fight” challenge YouTube: The Joe Rogan ExperienceJoe Rogan offered to train Elon Musk in mixed martial arts after the Tesla CEO challenged Russian President Vladimir Putin to a “single combat fight” in a social media post. On March 14, Elon Musk set the internet alight after challenging Vladimir Putin to a fight: “I hereby challenge Vladimir Putin to single combat,” he said. “The stakes are Ukraine. Do you agree to this fight?” He also tagged the official Kremlin account. Putin didn’t respond. However, Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov did via Telegram, saying: “Elon Musk, a word of advice: Don’t measure your strength against that of Putin’s. You’re in two completely different leagues.” Rogan, who has developed a relationship with Musk since interviewing with him on Episode #1169 and Episode #1470 of The Joe Rogan Experience, brought up the potential fight during an episode on March 22 and offered to train him. “Elon Musk wants to fight Putin,” he said to his guest, Monty Franklin. “I offered my services. I texted him [and] I said, ‘Dude I will arrange all of your training. If you really do fight Putin, I will arrange all your training.’ Not only does Rogan have black belts in Taekwondo and Jiu-Jitsu, but he’s also well-versed in boxing, karate, and wrestling. So, he’s got all the boxes ticked for the job in the off-chance it does somehow come to fruition. Of course, the odds of the fight actually happening are, let’s face it, zero. It’s a ludicrous proposition. Musk is still talking himself up though — the billionaire feels any amount of “excellent training,” regardless of where it’s from, would give him “too much of an advantage” in the fight. For that reason, he offered to use only his left hand — which isn’t even his main one. He never got a response. So, it seems like Rogan’s martial arts expertise won’t be needed, although the offer still stands.

Joe Rogan under fire for claiming “woke” culture will silence straight white men YouTube: PowerfulJREJoe Rogan has been widely mocked on social media after he claimed that if “woke” culture went too far, it would silence straight white men. The Joe Rogan Experience podcast is among the biggest podcasts on the internet. In its 10-year-long run, the YouTube channel has accumulated over 10 million subscribers, hosting a range of influential guests. However, his opinions often spark controversy online. His latest episode, with guest Joe List, in which he discusses the role of “woke” culture, has launched a wave of mockery and outraged comments on Twitter. In episode 1651 of the podcast, he said “You can never be ‘woke’ enough, that’s the problem…It keeps going. It keeps going further and further and further down the line, and if you get to the point where you capitulate, where you agree to all these demands.” Topic starts at 4:48 “It’ll eventually get to straight white men are not allowed to talk. Because it’s your privilege to express yourself when other people of color have been silenced throughout history.” Twitter reacts Users on Twitter, however, were particularly unhappy with this take from Rogan, and responses mocking his statement garnered thousands upon thousands of likes and retweets. Twitter user Elie Mystal earned well over 11,000 likes on a tweet that read: “Can Joe Rogan point to one day in American history where straight white men shut the f**k up? Joe Rogan theorizes why Conor McGregor is trying to clean up his act – Dexerto
Joe Rogan theorizes why Conor McGregor is trying to clean up his act YouTube: PowerfulJRE / Wikimedia CommonsIn an episode of the Joe Rogan Experience, Rogan and guest, Frankie Edgar, spoke about some of the recent events in MMA and how the sport’s favorite Irishman, Conor McGregor, is trying to clean up his image. McGregor has always been a rowdy, loud, funny and vicious competitor — a character that many have come to love or hate due to his rambunctious nature… But Rogan and Edgar think we may be starting to see a new side to the biggest name in the UFC. The build-up to McGregor’s January 2020 fight against Donald ‘Cowboy’ Cerrone was not quite as crazy or intense as for other fights he’s had in the past, and Rogan and Edgar have theorized why they think this is. Turning the conversation on to the Irish superstar, Edgar says: “He’s made a little 180-flip on his personality. He’s still funny, he’s still mouthy, but it seems like he’s trying to clean his image up.” Rogan presses it, asking if he thinks it’s because Cowboy was his opponent, which Edgar says could be the reason, as Cowboy is easy to get along with, but suggests that there’s more to it than meets the eye. “Maybe it was just because of Khabib and, you know, hitting the old guy,” Edgar explains, referencing an altercation McGregor had with an older man in a Dublin pub in April 2019. Rogan backs him up, agreeing that “lawsuits” could be the issue McGregor is laying a little lower than before. They also mentioned that he could be toning down his act a bit because of his Proper Twelve whiskey brand, potentially realizing that maintaining a good image is paramount to his success outside of the octagon. “You’ve got to think, Proper Twelve is an enormous amount of money for him,” Rogan says. “He’s making sh*t tons of money. I was in Vegas and his billboards were everywhere.” Making a final point, Rogan also says that he doesn’t think McGregor “needed psychological warfare” with Cowboy like he did with recent opponents, as he already had such a huge advantage over the Colorado-born fighter. Rogan’s podcast often brings in a strange assortment of guests and conversational topics, so it’s nice to see him discussing an industry that he is so heavily involved in and where his roots stemmed from. Whether his theory that McGregor is cleaning up his act turns out to be true remains to be seen, but he’s definitely right in that the usually loud-mouthed fighter has strayed from the limelight a little.

Joe Rogan thinks “woke” culture is going too far: “It’s that crazy” YouTube: PowerfulJREPodcast host and comedian Joe Rogan has criticized “woke” culture on episode 1651 of the JRE podcast, claiming “it keeps going further and further.” The Joe Rogan Experience podcast is among the biggest podcasts on the internet. In its ten-year-long run, the YouTube channel has accumulated over 10 million subscribers, hosting a range of influential guests. However, the comedian has faced plenty of backlash over the course of the show’s run. In March he came under fire for making comments that some called transphobic, and later was heavily criticized for his comments regarding vaccines. But in episode 1651 of the podcast, Joe pushed back against “woke” culture, and discussed where he thinks it could head in the future. “You can never be ‘woke’ enough, that’s the problem,” he began. “It keeps going. It keeps going further and further and further down the line, and if you get to the point where you capitulate, where you agree to all these demands, it’ll eventually get to straight white men are not allowed to talk. Because so many people were imprisoned for so many – I’m not joking, it really will get there. It’s that crazy.” “We just gotta be nice to each other, man. And there’s a lot of people that are taking advantage of this weirdness in our culture, and then that becomes their thing. Their thing is calling people out for their privilege, calling people out for their position. You know, so, it’s f**king crazy times.” Joe recently moved into a brand new studio space, saying goodbye to the temporary studio set-up that many viewers weren’t a fan of.

Joe Rogan stunned by YouTuber’s custom sneakers for him with obscure references – Dexerto
Joe Rogan stunned by YouTuber’s custom sneakers for him with obscure references YouTube: MARKOJoe Rogan was left stunned by the custom pair of sneakers that YouTuber MARKO designed for him based on some of his own tattoos and his favorite books. Customizing sneakers and shoes has always been a thing within the sneakerhead community, but up until the last few years, it was typically done for yourself. You’d put your name and a few things you liked on sneakers and you were done with it. Now, custom sneakers and designs have become big business. Plenty of athletes and celebrities have been rocking their favorite pairs of shoes with unique designs on them. Many athletes do it to show support for different causes and charities, as well as showing love to their family. In the case of Joe Rogan, he was gifted a pair of custom sneakers by YouTuber Marko ahead of UFC 292 that were designed based on some of his favorite things – including tattoos, life advice, and of course, hunting. Joe Rogan gets custom Puma sneakers and loves them In total, it took MARKO nine days to complete the pair of custom Puma shoes for Rogan, as he swapped out the iconic Puma for the JRE Podcast logo. “Dude! These are so cool,” Rogan said after getting his first glimpse at them. “That is so cool. Dude, I’m going to wear these at the UFC weigh-ins today. I’m pumped, thank you very much. Thank you.” The main body of the design featured art styled on Miyamoto Musashi and The Book of 5 Rings, which Rogan has talked about on numerous podcasts. Marko also added genuine archery targets to the heel of the shoe, as well as incorporating Rogan’s Egyptian Pharoah tattoos on the tongue. With this being a piece of art for Rogan, it wouldn’t be complete without some aliens. So, naturally, they’re included in the insole of the shoe. The JRE host even fulfilled his promise of wearing them during the UFC 292 weigh-ins, and hopefully he’ll do a deep dive during an upcoming episode at some point.

Joe Rogan tapped out comedian Shane Gillis “eight times” after MMA challenge – Dexerto
Joe Rogan tapped out comedian Shane Gillis “eight times” after MMA challenge Shane GillisPopular comedian Shane Gillis has revealed that Joe Rogan tapped him out “like eight times” after he claimed that the podcast host wouldn’t be able to do so. Joe Rogan is as recognizable for his work with the UFC as he is for his own podcast – which just so happens to be the biggest podcast around. He’s been hosting and commentating on UFC events ever since 1997 and has a background in mixed martial arts himself. Rogan routinely uploads videos of himself training in ju-ju-jitsu and kickboxing, as well as being competent in karate and taekwondo. Some fans have even called for him to get inside the cage himself and fight Jake Paul. Rogan has stated that he doesn’t want to actually compete inside the cage, but he has shown off his skills in amateur events. And to his friends too, tapping out Shane Gillis recently. Joe Rogan tapped out Shane Gillis “like eight times” Gillis joined Andrew Schulz’s FLAGRANT podcast on September 14 and was asked about a recent photo of him and Rogan rolling around, with the JRE host having him in a bit of an arm bar. “I tried to fight Rogan last week… whoops! He ripped my shoulder off and I was hammered so I was like ‘You can’t tap me dude’,” the comedian told Schulz. “So, I kept f*cking with him. He tapped me like eight times, dude. He kept going!” Gillis also noted that Rogan was being taunted by others there too, with them claiming that the Philladiepa-based comedian is “stronger” than him. That only encouraged him to go a little harder while grappling. Timestamp of 1:17:00 The stand-up comic said that he was taunting Rogan as well, saying that his chokes were doing “nothing” to him but also urged him to stop at times as well. It’s probably the closest we’ll get to seeing the JRE host actually grappling with some unless he competes again.

Joe Rogan stunned by Mike Tyson’s reaction to Jake Paul fight challenge – Dexerto
Joe Rogan stunned by Mike Tyson’s reaction to Jake Paul fight challenge YouTube/JRE/Instagram/JakepaulJoe Rogan was absolutely amazed by boxing legend Mike Tyson’s reaction to being called out for a fight by YouTuber Jake Paul. Jake Paul has become a serious fighter in recent years. With a 5-0 record to his name including a KO against former UFC champion Tyron Woodley, The Problem Child has shown some big skill. While he has no set opponent for his sixth bout just yet, he has been challenging quite a few large names including Conor McGregor, Jorge Masvidal and Mike Tyson. During an appearance on the Joe Rogan Experience, Tyson was asked about how he feels being challenged by the upstart fighter and gave a response that some may not have expected. Mike Tyson stuns Joe Rogan with response to boxing Jake Paul As the two puffed joints and let the smoke fill the air of the podcast room, Rogan inquired about how Tyson felt about being challenged to fight Jake Paul. “When you get challenged by a guy like Jake Paul, does that piss you off?” Rogan asked. “No, it doesn’t. I like it,” Tyson smirked. “I think it’s awesome. It’s cool!” “That’s awesome you handle it that way,” the comedian replied. “Because, in a way it’s kind of insulting. It’s brave, it’s bold of him, but it’s also like, Jesus Christ, there are levels to this world.” According to Tyson, one lesson he learned is that you can’t take yourself too seriously and when his ego isn’t involved it’s hard to be mad at someone – something that Rogan felt was “beautiful.” Sadly, it doesn’t seem like Tyson and Jake Paul will be fighting in the ring anytime soon. Iron Mike has shot down the YouTuber’s challenges at every turn and has agreed to fight only if he would be paid “a billion bucks” – something that even Jake doesn’t have. In any case, it’s good to see Tyson in such high spirits – both literally and figuratively.

Joe Rogan stunned by viral Mike Tyson airplane fight video – Dexerto
Joe Rogan stunned by viral Mike Tyson airplane fight video Mike Tyson/Joe RoganPodcaster and UFC commentator Joe Rogan lost it over the viral video of Mike Tyson allegedly punching out a heckler on a plane and compared it to “headbutting a beehive.” Legendary boxer Mike Tyson went viral on April 21 after an apparent encounter with an overzealous fan on an airplane which led to him hurling punches at the fan over the back of his seat. The video caught wind across social media, with a handful of influencers rushing to his defense, including fellow boxer Jake Paul. In Tyson’s defense, Paul said: “If you’re being heckled in public like Mike Tyson was you should legally get a hall pass to beat someone’s a**.” Now, friend to Tyson and podcast co-host Joe Rogan has chimed in on the situation. Joe Rogan stunned at Mike Tyson airplane video During episode #1,808 of Rogan’s podcast, comedian Dan Soder and Rogan discussed how absurd it was to heckle Mike Tyson without expecting retaliation. “It’s real simple, that dude was a douchebag. He was annoying one of the baddest motherf**kers that’s ever walked the face of the Earth. It’s so dumb! It’s not even kicking a beehive, it’s like headbutting a beehive.” The 54-year-old podcast host continued, “If you find yourself where Mike Tyson’s reaching over the back of an airline seat and punching you in the face, I think you probably earned it.” Rogan finished his thoughts on people who bother celebrities in public, “People get crazy. They think just because he’s Mike Tyson, he’s famous, he can’t just punch you. You’re annoying him! He’s gonna just f**king hit you like a normal person would.” If you are planning on bothering a celebrity in public, maybe make sure they aren’t a Heaveyweight champion before doing so.

Joe Rogan stunned as expert who foresaw coronavirus predicts death toll – Dexerto
Joe Rogan stunned as expert who foresaw coronavirus predicts death toll PowerfulJRE (YouTube)Popular podcast host Joe Rogan was left baffled as disease expert Michael Osterholm estimated that the coronavirus outbreak will be “10-15x worse” than the flu in terms of fatalities. The coronavirus disease (COVID-19) has the world on high alert, as the spread of its constituent virus (SARS-CoV-2) continues to threaten the health of the world’s population. With the world seemingly in SOS, Joe Rogan addressed the coronavirus outbreak during Episode 1439 of the Joe Rogan Experience. And who better to have breakdown relevant information about the disease than the expert who predicted it all? Enter Michael Osterholm. Before Rogan and Osterholm delved into the specifics on coronavirus, the epidemiologist prefaced the conversation by providing context through comparisons to the common flu — which in itself has caused 34 million illnesses, 350,000 hospitalizations and 20,000 deaths this season, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). When referring to the estimated fatality rate, Osterholm stated that “this could be at least 10-15x worse than the worst seasonal flu year that we see.” Osterholm’s ‘conservative’ estimations foreshadow that coronavirus could require 48 million hospitalizations, with a total of 96 million cases. But in terms of fatalities, the expert projected over 480,000 deaths within the next 3-7 months. Given these estimations, that would place coronavirus as 24x more deadly than this season’s influenza virus. Osterholm’s figures are based on only partial and early data about the outbreak which has escalated within the past two to three weeks. “This is not one to take lightly,” Osterholm prefixed. “Just remember, two weeks ago, we were talking about almost no cases in the United States. Three weeks ago, Italy was living life just fine — now they’re literally in a virtual shutdown in the northern parts of Italy.” Moreover, Osterholm detailed the severity of Italy’s situation as he read a message from a Physician working in a Milan hospital. “They’re deciding who they have to let die; they aren’t screening the staff anymore, because they need all hands on deck.” Rogan continued to prompt the expert on the potential risk factors, with SARS-CoV-2 known to target the vulnerable (i.e., those with underlying health issues). Osterholm admitted that the United States is at “ground zero” for one of the most major health ongoing issues, Obesity. Rogan then questioned what steps the average person can do to help prevent the spread of the disease? Well, face masks were labeled as “nonsense” and the only precautionary measure to prevent becoming infected would be to self-isolate away from densely populated areas.

Joe Rogan stunned by Matthew McConaughey’s insane weight loss story – Dexerto
Joe Rogan stunned by Matthew McConaughey’s insane weight loss story YouTube: Joe Rogan ExperienceJoe Rogan was left shocked after hearing the crazy lengths that hugely popular American actor Matthew McConaughey’s went to to lose 50 pounds for his role in Dallas Buyers Club. Joe Rogan has seen his fair share of top billed guests make his way into his podcast studios, both new and old. Some of his most well known guests include Elon Musk, Post Malone, and other famous faces across YouTube, business, Hollywood, and just about every conceivable entertainment sector. He even recently set up a long anticipated episode with Kanye West, but their meeting was promptly cancelled along with several other episodes after one of the staff members revealed he needed to self-isolate. However, fans of the podcast were treated to a huge celebrity from an entirely different industry in a prerecorded episode – actor Matthew McConaughey. Matthew McConaughey on the Joe Rogan Experience podcast Matthew has starred in films such as the Wolf of Wall Street, Contact, and of course 2013 film Dallas Buyers Club. He enacted AIDS patient Ron Woodroof’s heartbreaking story, and underwent an enormous physical transformation for the role. As he shares with Joe Rogan, the actor lost over 50 pounds in the process of preparing for the challenging acting experience, dedicating himself to accurately portraying the story as true to life as possible. “I weighed 135. And you know this, I was not torturing myself,” Matthew explained. “I was militant. The hardest part was making the damn choice. It was my responsibility.” Topic begins at 1:19 With regard to the process of losing the weight, the actor said that he gave himself five months of a diet consisting of “tapioca pudding or whatever, three egg whites in the morning. Five ounces of fish couple vegetables for lunch, five ounces of fish couple vegetables for dinner.” He said this is the diet that caused him to lose an insane 2.5 pounds a week, without any exercise. However, Joe was shocked to hear that Matthew was able to drink “as much wine as he wanted to drink,” joking “what kind of diet is this?” “What I learned from it is that the body is more resilient than we give it credit for. The power I lost from the neck down equally or more sublimated to the neck up. My mental gain was so acute and so on point, that I was clinically smart.” The incredible story was an insight into just how dedicated the beloved actor is to his roles, and certainly stunned Joe and the podcast viewers.

Joe Rogan spent 20 minutes in an ice bath & it’s going viral on Instagram – Dexerto
Joe Rogan spent 20 minutes in an ice bath & it’s going viral on Instagram Instagram: Joe RoganUFC commentator, comedian, and podcast host Joe Rogan has added yet another achievement in his resume of odd accomplishments by sharing a 20-minute video of himself persevering through a 33℉ ice bath. Joe Rogan is known for undertaking the occasionally unexpected diet, exercise routine, or otherwise eyebrow-raising experience. The host is well-known for having gone on the “Carnivore Diet” twice, both of which helped him feel “healthier, happier, and well-balanced” (minus the explosive diarrhea). Now, it seems the podcast host has undergone yet another major bodily challenge — this time, in the form of the ice bath. Ice baths themselves aren’t anything new; from the time-honored Nordic tradition of Winter Swimming to being a historic method of speeding up muscle recovery for athletes, ice baths have been around for quite awhile. On July 25, Rogan first attempted an ice bath after a workout at his Texas residency (which, by the way, is boasting a temperature up in the upper 90s), but only lasted about one minute. A day later, Rogan managed to stick it out for an impressive 20 minutes — all of which he shared in a video on his Instagram account, which mostly featured him going through breathing exercises while toughing it out in the frosty environment. “I’m not sure how I did it, but I did 20 minutes inside the ice bath,” he said of the chilly experience. “I was shivering after this for a solid 30 minutes. I drove to work, it’s 90 degrees out in Texas and I had the AC off and I was shivering the whole way to work.” View this post on Instagram As previously mentioned, this isn’t Rogan’s first temperature-induced bodily challenge; in May, Rogan shared pics of himself lounging in a sauna, the temperature of which was nearing 200℉. Yowch! View this post on Instagram While it’s clear that both ice baths and saunas have benefits, it’s best that first-timers start out slow and steady and in the company of someone much more experienced. Unless you’re Joe Rogan, of course.

Joe Rogan stats prove how Spotify move has been a massive success – Dexerto
Joe Rogan stats prove how Spotify move has been a massive success Spotify/Joe RoganA set of leaked Spotify data has shown just how dominant the Joe Rogan podcast is on the platform and how much of a success it’s been since the controversial move to make it exclusive. For years, Joe Rogan’s podcast – the Joe Rogan Experience – was available on numerous platforms and enjoyed wide-ranging success as one most popular shows around. However, back in late 2020, the UFC Commentator’s pod was snapped up by Spotify in an eye-watering $100 million move that saw the show made exclusive to the music streaming platform. Since the move, fans have asked for numerous changes that Rogan himself wants to make like having a comments section and such. Some want the Spotify deal to be over, but that’s not happening anytime soon, especially with how much of a success it’s been for Spotify since the deal was inked. According to BusinessInsider, a leaked internal newsletter from Spotify shows that the JRE Podcast accounted for nearly 5% of total podcast listen when it was first made available back in September of 2020. After that, with the move to being a Spotify exclusive in December of 2020, the show has remained as the top podcast on the platform each month and brought nearly 3 million listeners in its first month. Furthermore, BusinessInsider state that a Spotify spokesperson informed them that Rogan’s audience has also grown since the move, even if its guests aren’t seeing the same benefits as beforehand. When the deal was first closed, fans were annoyed that Spotify appeared to be censoring Rogan by missing some 40-plus old episodes, but CEO Daniel Ek has stated that the platform wouldn’t censor the show in any way. With Rogan’s success, Spotify has shelled out for other exclusive podcasts as they continue to try and take over the podcast game. Though, it’s hard to match the reach of the JRE.

Joe Rogan slams Will Smith’s “foolish” Chris Rock Oscars slap – Dexerto
Joe Rogan slams Will Smith’s “foolish” Chris Rock Oscars slap YouTube: PowerfulJRE, The Guardian, ABC 7 ChicagoPodcast host Joe Rogan called out Oscar-winning actor Will Smith for slapping comedian Chris Rock at the 94th Academy Awards, calling Smith’s outburst a “foolish impulse.” Actor and rapper Will Smith shocked the world when he walked on stage at the 2022 Oscars to slap Chris Rock in the face after the comedian made a joke about actress Jada Pinkett Smith. Rock’s joke compared Jada’s look for the evening to that of fictional action heroine GI Jane — a comment Jada didn’t seem happy with, as she recently revealed she’s been struggling with hair loss. The slap instantly went viral, prompting an investigation of Smith by the Academy. Smith has since publicly apologized for the incident. Joe Rogan criticizes Will Smith’s “stupid” Oscar’s slap Comedian and podcast host Joe Rogan spoke out on the viral debacle during a recent episode with mixed martial artist Josh Barnett, where he notably called the ordeal a “foolish impulse” on Smith’s part. “I don’t think he was thinking that far ahead, at all,” Rogan said in response to Barnett. “I think he was being emotionally fragile. He acted on impulse. I think it’s a foolish impulse that you do when you know there’s no consequences.” “Chris Rock’s doing his f**king job,” he continued. “You don’t go and sit in the front row, you’re a star at the Oscars — there’s a professional comedian whose job is to roast people. That’s what he’s doing. And what he did was not even insulting. It was a mild joke.” View this post on Instagram Rogan is also under the impression that Smith won’t face legal consequences for slapping Rock on live television. The LAPD has confirmed that Rock is not pressing charges against Smith, but is willing to work with him, should he choose to do so in the future. “I’m telling you, this is all rational thinking about an irrational act,” Rogan argued. “He was emotionally fragile and he acted on impulse in a staggeringly stupid way.” Rogan isn’t the only comedian to have spoken out on the situation; Andrew Schulz also notably claimed that Chris Rock was “soft” to have not retaliated against Smith after being struck during the ceremony, although it seems things are settled between the two stars for now.

Joe Rogan & Snoop Dogg explain why Logan Paul should be ‘terrified’ of Mike Tyson – Dexerto
Joe Rogan & Snoop Dogg explain why Logan Paul should be ‘terrified’ of Mike Tyson Instagram/miketyson/loganpaul/YouTube/JoeRoganPodcast host Joe Rogan and rapper Snoop Dogg are worried for Logan Paul’s safety if he really decides to go through with fighting former boxing champion Mike Tyson. Influencer-turned-boxing sensation Logan Paul has taken the combat sports world by storm. Along with his brother Jake, the two have battled some of the greatest fighters alive, such as Floyd Mayweather and Tyron Woodley. Now, it’s been rumored that Logan Paul will be stepping foot into the ring with Iron Mike Tyson in a fight that has everyone on the internet talking… including Joe Rogan and Snoop Dogg. In an episode of The Joe Rogan Experience, the UFC commentator and rapper discussed the fight and why Logan Paul could be in for a great deal of pain. Joe Rogan worried for Logan Paul in Mike Tyson fight According to Rogan, Tyson’s ability to get back into shape since retiring has been incredibly impressive. “Being fifty-five in 2021 is not fifty-five from like 1998,” he said. “It’s not the same thing. You watch him hit pads, it’s terrifying. Not terrifying because he’s fifty-five. It’s a terrifying human. If he was twenty-one and he was hitting pads like that, I’d be ‘holy sh*t, this kid’s a killer.’” Despite Tyson’s age, Rogan and Snoop were both extremely impressed with his physicality, as well as his calmer, chill demeanor these days. Did Snoop Dogg confirm Logan Paul vs Mike Tyson? After watching some videos of Tyson training, the two felt even more nervous for Logan Paul, believing that Iron Mike was regaining a lot of his skill. “He’s getting it back. This is terrifying!” Rogan exclaimed, adding how it was “fascinating” he had been training with an MMA coach. “The fact Logan Paul wants to box him? Wow. I can’t believe they’re really going to do that.” “I can,” Snoop replied. “I’m probably going to be announcing this sh*t.” Despite the fact the fight hadn’t been officially announced yet, with both potential combatants saying they’re open to the idea, Snoop may have let slip a bit too much info. Joe Rogan and Snoop Dogg predict Tyson vs Logan Paul Asking for his prediction for the fight, Snoop wasted no time and said he believes Tyson would secure the win and would bet big money on him. “Second round KO,” Snoop said. “Yeah, that kid’s going to get hit for sure,” Rogan agreed, adding that Tyson has way more power than Floyd Mayweather. “It’s going to be interesting to see what Logan can do to keep away from him. The only thing on his side is youth.” We’ll have to wait and see what the future holds, but with Logan seemingly more down than ever to take the fight because of folks predicting Tyson over him, Rogan and Snoop’s comments may help make the match a reality.

Joe Rogan slams Stephen A Smith over McGregor v Cowboy UFC 246 criticism – Dexerto
Joe Rogan slams Stephen A Smith over McGregor v Cowboy UFC 246 criticism YouTube: Joe Rogan / ESPNFollowing Conor McGregor’s victory over Donald ‘Cowboy’ Cerrone at UFC 246, famed sports commentator Stephen A Smith sparked debate after accusing Cowboy of “giving up”. Joe Rogan has hit back, saying Smith doesn’t understand the sport. It took just 40 seconds for McGregor to put Cerrone down, in what Smith called “an atrocious performance on [Cerrone’s] part.” But veteran UFC interviewer and color commentator Joe Rogan (who is now best known for his podcast) fired back at Stephen A Smith over his comments — which had been made as both men were dissecting the fight on ESPN. On his latest MMA podcast on January 24, Rogan explained that Stephen A Smith has “made a career from sh*t talking,”, but while it works in other sports, he thinks it’s a “bad idea” to carry it over to MMA. “There’s a lot of currency in being a Stephen A Smith. He’s really entertaining, but that sh*t-talking that he does, you know, he’s a guy that’s fun to watch, he talks a lot of sh*t, and gets real loud,” Rogan explained. “Look, it’s made him a fantastic career, [but] he carries that over to MMA, I think it’s a bad idea.” “I don’t know him as a human being,” Rogan continues, “I’ve only met him a couple times, he’s a nice guy, nice guy to me, we had a nice conversation.” But, Rogan explains there was a “little weirdness” between them on-air, over Smith’s comments about Cerrone’s performance. Joe Rogan then said that he believes other fighters, such as his guest Josh Thompson should be the ones giving post-fight analysis, rather than people like Smith who “don’t know the sport, and practice d**k punches.” His comment about “d**k punches” referred to a video Smith posted on his Instagram, showing him sparring with training pads. “I would have preferred to talk to DC, or Felder, or [Josh Thompson], or anyone who understands the sport,” he reiterated. “And Stephen A Smith was very nice to me too, I have no problem with him as a human being. “I just think– look, I don’t know jack sh*t about baseball or basketball, […] I know MMA, I understand, so if you want to talk about MMA, I’d like to talk to [someone] else who knows about MMA.” Rogan went on to explain that MMA requires a “different perspective,” arguing that it’s “not the same as a ball going into a hoop, it’s not the same as crossing a line with a football. It’s very intense, it’s personal, and it’s also very f**king dangerous. And, to play it off like it’s just a game, I just don’t agree with it.” He concluded by saying that Stephen A Smith’s style of inflammatory commentary works well in other sports, but that MMA is not the place for it.

Joe Rogan slams the Robinhood app over GameStop stock controversy – Dexerto
Joe Rogan slams the Robinhood app over GameStop stock controversy Robinhood/YT: JREPopular podcaster Joe Rogan has criticized trading app Robinhood after they chose to restrict trading on GameStop stock on Thursday, January 28. The recent GameStop trading outbreak has been one of the biggest stories of 2021 so far. Starting on Reddit, thousands of users decided to purchase stocks, seeing the company’s value skyrocket and sending tremors through Wall Street. Responses varied, with some enjoying the shake up and others concerned about its wider repercussions on the markets. Robinhood, a commission free stock trading app, was one of the main platforms used by individual traders purchasing GameStop shares. However, it garnered significant backlash after restricting the trading of GameStop stock, with users pointing out the hypocrisy of describing itself as an investment site for everyone. The condemnation came from many, but popular podcaster and current affairs commentator Joe Rogan has now joined the criticism of the trading platform. Rogan has praised the traders previously, stating that they exposed Wall Street “manipulation”. Now, in another clip from his Joe Rogan Experience podcast, he has targeted Robinhood for their attempted inhibition of GameStop trading. “So then this app, called Robinhood,” Rogan said, explaining the situation for guest Jamar Neighbors. “Robinhood is supposed to be steal from the rich give to the poor – that’s the story of Robinhood. Instead, they are protecting all these hedge fund people and stopping people from doing this.” “Now, regular folks on Reddit are starting to do the exact same thing,” he continued. “And they [Robinhood] are trying to figure out a way to stop these people from doing this…. Normal people are being penalised for figuring out a new way to hack the system that Wall Street have been manipulating forever.” Robinhood has since claimed that they were forced to stop trades because of the process of recording the trades with a clearinghouse. They said: “the required amount we had to deposit with the clearinghouse was so large—with individual volatile securities accounting for hundreds of millions of dollars in deposit requirements—that we had to take steps to limit buying in those volatile securities to ensure we could comfortably meet our requirements.” Read More: GameStop boom is ‘p***ing off’ Wall Street – Rogan’s issues are similar to many, who claim that it is deeply hypocritical for Robinhood to prevent “normal people” from making money, on an app designed to allow anyone to invest. Robinhood has been receiving hundreds of thousands of negative reviews off the back of the incident, leading to Google removing many 1* reviews from their site. The saga continues, but Joe Rogan has set out his stall.

Joe Rogan slams “disgusting” criticism over Simone Biles’ withdrawal from Olympic Finals – Dexerto
Joe Rogan slams “disgusting” criticism over Simone Biles’ withdrawal from Olympic Finals YouTube: PowerfulJRE / Wikimedia Commons, Agência Brasil FotografiasUFC color commentator, comedian and podcast host Joe Rogan is hitting back at criticism against Olympic gymnast Simone Biles’ decision to withdraw from both individual and team finals events in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. Simone Biles is one of the biggest names in gymnastics, and for good reason; the star athlete, 24, has scored over 30 Olympic and World Championship medals and is the most decorated American gymnast of all time. It stands to reason that, with a record such as hers, there’s a ton of pressure to perform perfectly at high-stakes events like the Olympics — and that pressure can sometimes boil over in serious ways. Why did Simone Biles withdraw from Olympic Finals? On July 27, Biles withdrew from individual competition at the 2020 Olympics, a day after withdrawing from the team final. While at first it was reported that a medical issue was the reason for her exit, it was later revealed that Biles’ mental health was what prompted her to pull out after seeming to struggle with the vault. View this post on Instagram “I truly do feel like I have the weight of the world on my shoulders at times,” Simone said of her role as an Olympic gymnast. “I know I brush it off and make it seem like pressure doesn’t affect me, but damn, sometimes it’s hard hahaha!” Biles’ decision to withdraw has sparked a slew of debate online, with many commenters lashing out at the athlete for prioritizing her mental health over the competition. Joe Rogan comments on criticism Joe Rogan discussed the backlash during a recent episode of his podcast, where he called the ongoing criticism “disgusting” and noted that Biles regularly takes ADHD medication — something that’s at odds with Japan’s purported stance on the drug to treat certain issues. “So many people are sh***ing on her online and calling her a coward,” Rogan said. “It’s disgusting. You have no idea what’s going on in her head. She’s supposed to play when she’s suicidal? She’s supposed to play when she’s freaking out? Read More: Twitch streamers call for action after getting DMCA’d for IRL streaming near 2020 Olympics – “Is she supposed to do gymnastics when she’s literally losing her mind?” he continued. “When people get off prescription drugs… I don’t know what it’s like to get off Ritalin. But I would imagine it’s not fun.” Biles’ use of ADHD medication has come under scrutiny multiple times throughout her career, although she has received permission to use the drug by the WADA under therapeutic use exemption.

Joe Rogan slams Instagram ban of model raising funds for Australia fires – Dexerto
Joe Rogan slams Instagram ban of model raising funds for Australia fires Joe Rogan has taken aim at Instagram’s decision to deactivate Kaylen Ward’s account, after the model now known as the Naked Philanthropist raised an estimated $1 million for the Australian bushfires by trading explicit images. Just four days after first announcing her explicit photo-driven charity efforts, where she would trade images of herself naked for $10 donations for the victims of Australia’s bushfire crisis, Ward has already raised an estimated $1 million. Although Ward was widely praised, Instagram was less than pleased, and pulled the plug on her 60,000-follower account for “violating policies.” The social media giant later confirmed the ban offense was for “offering nude images” on the platform. Rogan discussed the interesting way the Naked Philanthropist was raising money for the bushfire crisis during Episode 1,406 of his talk show, and called for Instagram to “have her back on” the platform because of her fundraising efforts. “She’s doing a lot of good, she’s raised that much money to help the Australian wildfire and then they deactivated her account,” Rogan said, and added he thought it was wrong. “Let her back Instagram, she said she’s going to give the money to charity and she didn’t show the picture.” Rogan and his co-hosts added that Instagram may have been inclined to remove the image and idea from their platform because they “weren’t getting a cut,” but the talk-show host did add that he felt that was “a little cynical.” They then brought up a few images of Ward, including her original tweet. While Rogan did add he was impressed with how much she had raised for the bushfire crisis so far, his main take away was that Instagram should “let her be naked.” “Let her be naked. Why are you stopping her from being naked for you creeps?” Rogan said. “You know, that girl does not have a lot of hobbies. She must have free time. Oh, she’s only 20? Poor girl, she doesn’t know what she’s doing yet.” For mobile readers, the related segment in the video below begins at 0:27. Rogan may not have missed the mark by suggesting Ward wasn’t prepared for the influx of interest in her photos and the charity drive either — the model admitted to The Guardian she had “fallen into a rabbit hole” since her first tweet. Ward, who already shares images similar to the now-famous one circulating the internet as a way to make money, sent her first tweet at 10pm on January 3. By the time she woke up the next morning, she had nearly hit $100,000. “It quickly just blew up before I knew it,” she explained. “I have a girl doing analysis on it and she’s calculated I’m getting about 10 legitimate donations per minute, and that’s only $10 donations too. Some people have donated way more.” https://twitter.com/lilearthangelk/status/1213701836517126144 The explosion of popularity, and Instagram’s decision to flick her from their social media service for her efforts, has created a new problem for Ward too. Without a way back onto the site, others have begun impersonating her. “Every time I try to make a new account it’s deactivated, and what’s concerning is there are a few fake accounts who are impersonating me that haven’t got deleted,” she said. “People are stealing my identity through Instagram.” He may not have known it, but Rogan may have been asking for exactly what Ward needs at this moment, so hopefully, the massive YouTube star calling out the Facebook-owned site may help her get her account back online. According to the NSW RFS, who are fighting on the main fronts against the fires, more than 100 separate incidents are still burning across the central state alone, with thousands of people already forced out of their coastal and inland homes. If you would like to help those affected by the bushfire crisis, and support those fighting the infernos, you can donate to the Australian Red Cross foundation, the Salvation Army, as well as the Rural Fire Service directly.

Joe Rogan slammed by doctor for allegedly spreading misinformation – Dexerto
Joe Rogan slammed by doctor for allegedly spreading misinformation YouTube/JoeRogan/Instagram/daniellebelardomdA Cardiologist in Newport Beach, California is accusing UFC commentator and popular podcast host Joe Rogan of using his platform to spread medical misinformation. In an April 2 Instagram post, doctor Danielle Belardo compared Joe Rogan to actress Gwyneth Paltrow’s controversial product line ‘Goop,’ which has been criticized in the past for its wellness claims. According to Belardo, Joe Rogan is ‘Goop’ only marketed to men. A claim that she has reportedly made many times in the past. “I love you guys so much, and I appreciate that you trust my scientific knowledge and you send me endless videos to debunk,” she said in a message to her followers. View this post on Instagram “I can just save us all a lot of time and remind y’all that almost everything that comes out of Joe Rogan and Goop is wildly inaccurate, sometimes benign pseudoscience at best, dangerous disinformation at worst.” The doctor went on to instruct her audience to close any Joe Rogan or Gwyneth Paltrow/Goop videos whenever they see them on their feed. She continued to claim that Rogan is misusing his podcast by providing a platform for “antivaxxers, heart disease and cholesterol deniers” just to name a few. “He reaches millions of people with his disinformation,” she further blasted. “He’s a harm to public health.” Her post also featured an image of both her and the former Fear Factor host with the words “Joe Rogan is Goop for men” written all over it. Many of Joe Rogan’s supporters spoke out against the post. Some sided with Rogan for having a wide variety of guests on and not getting stuck in his own echo chamber. Others brought up how he has many medical experts on his show. OMG!! Massive Instagram memer @quentquarantino asked me if he could turn my meme into merch & I said yes, as long as the proceeds are given to pediatric leukemia support at the @BePositiveFdn —and he agreed!!!! Get your hilarious Rogan/Goop meme merch now & support my fave org!! https://t.co/62zxKiErYl — Danielle Belardo, MD (@DBelardoMD) April 2, 2021 For her part, however, Belardo didn’t take too kindly to the criticism. “I didn’t realize how many fragile Joe Rogan fans follow me on Instagram until I posted this meme,” she said on Twitter following the backlash. The meme used in Belardo’s post is now even being used for merchandise. On Twitter, the doctor explained how she had been approached to turn her meme into a t-shirt with proceeds going to pediatric leukemia support. So far, Rogan hasn’t commented on Belardo’s accusations.

Joe Rogan slams Australian satire show after mistaking viral joke ad for “propaganda” – Dexerto
Joe Rogan slams Australian satire show after mistaking viral joke ad for “propaganda” YouTube: Joe Rogan / ABCJoe Rogan slammed an Australian satire show after mistaking a joke video for “propaganda” but eventually cottoned on after it went viral and acknowledged he’d made a mistake. The comedian and podcast host took a swipe at a video he described as “dumb propaganda.” He posted it on Instagram and was under the impression that it was a government-endorsed ad. It starts off with a man having an allergic reaction, falling to the floor, and refusing to let a bystander help him. He asks what’s in the medication, how long it’s been researched for, what statistics say about it, and what Joe Rogan says about it. Finally, the man urges the bystander to “Call Joe” before passing out. A narrator says, “We don’t question the science when our lives depend on it. So why question it when millions of lives depend on it?” Rogan wasn’t terribly impressed when he saw the video. He wrote: “Not only has Australia had the worst reaction to the pandemic with dystopian, police-state measures that are truly inconceivable to the rest of the civilized world, but they also have the absolute dumbest propaganda.” View this post on Instagram It turns out, though, that the video wasn’t an official government video. It was actually a joke advertisement from a satirical show called Gruen, which airs on ABC iView and ABC TV every Wednesday. One of the creators behind the video, Nick Hunter, told 9 News: “Gruen is a satirical show. The point of the video was to talk about some of the issues anti-vaxxers have and put it in a humorous context to show the ridiculousness of what is out there.” Rogan later edited his post and acknowledged the ad was from a satirical show: “EDIT: apparently, this is not a real ad. It’s from a satirical show.” Despite his edit, the post is blowing up on social media. Some fans genuinely thought it was real, while others laughed at his mistake. Rogan came under fire recently over his decision to use medication that can also treat heartworms in animals. He responded to the backlash by telling haters to “stay salty.” The video loosely poked fun at that.

Joe Rogan shuts down conspiracy that Logan Paul was “knocked out” by Floyd Mayweather – Dexerto
Joe Rogan shuts down conspiracy that Logan Paul was “knocked out” by Floyd Mayweather YouTube: JRE Clips / Amanda Westcott for SHOWTIMEPopular UFC commentator Joe Rogan called out critics claiming Logan Paul was knocked out by Floyd Mayweather during their June 6 boxing match. The comedian debunked the conspiracy theories on the Joe Rogan Experience podcast. Joe Rogan hasn’t been shy about his praise for the Logan Paul vs Floyd Mayweather exhibition match. The podcast host called the event “genius” and even defended the YouTube star and the championship boxer for putting on a show that “millions” of people were willing to pay for. During the June 11 episode of the JRE podcast, the comedian addressed the conspiracy theory that Paul had actually been knocked out during the boxing fight. He argued that those making the claim “do not know s**t” about boxing and told them to “stop” commentating on fights. Joe Rogan debunks Logan Paul “knocked out” conspiracy theory Hours after the exhibition match ended, a viral video clip online claimed that Floyd Mayweather had knocked Logan Paul out and purposely held him up so that the match could continue. During his June 11 interview with actor Duncan Trussell, Joe Rogan took the theory head-on and dismissed it as complete “nonsense.” “People, that think [Logan Paul] got knocked out? Get the f**k out of here. People are so silly. They don’t understand s**t about getting hit in the head. These are the same dummies… Logan was just hanging on, man. He went for an overhook punch. You guys have no idea,” he said, before lifting his arm up to mirror what Paul was doing during the fight. “This grapple is a normal thing for a wrestler. Logan was a wrestler.” Looking at the footage, Rogan pointed to the moment and exclaimed, “This what happens when a bunch of people comment on fights and don’t know s**t. Now, look at Logan’s left arm. He’s in control. He’s holding on to him. HE’S A WRESTLER! He’s not knocked out, you knuckleheads.” (Topic starts at 4:54) After slowly reviewing the video from the fight, the comedian concluded that Logan Paul was actually in a strategic hold during the now-infamous “knock-out” moment. “He’s holding on and he’s protecting himself and he’s controlling Floyd by pushing his head into Floyd’s chest,” the podcast host explained. Rogan concluded his rant by telling Trussell that he wished uninformed viewers would “stop talking about fighting.” Despite believing that Mayweather won the fight in terms of points, the JRE host continued to praise the 26-year-old YouTube star, calling his performance against the champion boxer “astounding.”

Joe Rogan shuts down Donald Trump JRE podcast rumors once and for all – Dexerto
Joe Rogan shuts down Donald Trump JRE podcast rumors once and for all Spotify: Joe Rogan/WikiMedia Commons: Gage SkidmoreJoe Rogan has shut down claims that he’ll have former US President Donald Trump on the JRE Podcast soon after a wild surge of rumors surfaced across social media. As the Joe Rogan Experience podcast has grown to be arguably the biggest show in the world, the UFC Commentator has had his fair share of high-profile guests on to talk about things over the years. The likes of Kanye West, Elon Musk, Mike Tyson, Dave Chapelle, and Edward Snowden have all graced the JRE podcast with their presence at least once, and there is clamor for Rogan to get even bigger guests. Most recently, rumors have surfaced across social media that Rogan would land arguably his biggest guest to date in the form of former US President Donald Trump, after he appeared on the NELK Boy’s FULL SEND show. However, he won’t be having Trump on as a guest. During episode 1793 of the Joe Rogan Experience with Mike Baker, the podcast host noted that he’d become aware of the rumors after being bombarded with emails and messages about it. “There’s been a whole thing where a hundred people, at least, have texted me and sent me emails and contacted me because they heard Trump was coming on my podcast,” Rogan started. “And the source of it is a fake Trump account on Twitter that said ‘I’m going on the Joe Rogan podcast soon.’” Baker, Rogan’s guest on the episode, commented that he’d even been made aware of the rumors and wasn’t sure if it was true or not. “It’s not the case,” the host said, as he cleared up the story behind the “fake” tweets. Timestamp of 44:00 As Rogan referenced, Trump’s appearance on the FULL SEND podcast set records for the NELK Boys’ within the first day, and given how big Rogan’s show is, it likely would have broken the internet. Though, it won’t be happening any time soon, if ever as it’s now the third time Rogan has shut down the idea of a Trump episode. So, don’t rush to refresh your Spotify feeds.

Joe Rogan shoots arrows at Elon Musk’s Cybertruck after podcast together – Dexerto
Joe Rogan shoots arrows at Elon Musk’s Cybertruck after podcast together Twitter: Elon MuskJoe Rogan shot arrows at Elon Musk’s Tesla Cybertruck after he was convinced he could damage it during their newest talk on the JRE Podcast. Like all podcasts, the Joe Rogan Experience doesn’t pass a few weeks without having a repeat guest. The UFC commentator regularly brings his friends, fellow comedians, and some MMA athletes back on to talk within a few weeks of their last appearance. Elon Musk, however, typically goes a few years between his episodes. The South African billionaire made his first appearance on the JRE back in 2018, and has since made a handful of appearances. His most recent one came on October 31, as he released part of the conversation on X/Twitter. However, the full episode is still exclusive to Spotify. Joe Rogan fires arrow at Tesla Cybertruck after JRE Podcast with Elon Musk After the pair had finished up their lengthy conversation, they touched on the Tesla Cybertruck – which has been marketed not only as a massive step forward for the electric car company but one that is invulnerable to damage on the outside. Well, Rogan had to test that out for himself, offering to shoot the Cybertruck with a custom bow that he was convinced would be able to leave a mark. Naturally, Musk went for it, leading to a video of Rogan taking a shot at one of the truck’s doors and seeing his arrow ricochet backward and also shattering the arrow tip. “That’s impressive,” Rogan said, tipping his cap to Musk. While Musk didn’t tweet the video of Rogan shooting the arrow – opting only to post a photo – he some did question why they thought an arrow might do damage. “So, I will be safe from Robin Hood,” one joked. “Very interesting but not sure how relevant it is to most consumers,” another said. “Who is shooting arrows at car ffs?” commented another.

Joe Rogan shuts down $100m offer to leave Spotify amid controversy – Dexerto
Joe Rogan shuts down $100m offer to leave Spotify amid controversy Spotify/Joe RoganPodcast phenom Joe Rogan shut down the idea that he might accept a $100 million offer to leave Spotify amid all the controversy surrounding his show in recent weeks. At the back end of January, Spotify was thrust into controversy after a number of musicians hit out at the streaming service for allowing Joe Rogan to spread “disinformation” about the global health crisis. In the weeks since then, the platform has defended Rogan and made changes to his show – with a disclaimer now being added to some contentious episodes – but there have been increased calls to cancel his deal amid accusations of racism from previous comments made by the podcast host. Amid that controversy, Spotify CEO Daniel Ek has stood by Rogan, claiming that “canceling voices is a slippery slope,” suggesting that they won’t be terminating the deal anytime soon. Despite that, Rogan received an offer on social media from the platform Rumble, who suggested they’d match his Spotify salary and not censor any of his shows – be it through deletion or otherwise. While the UFC commentator had stayed quiet on the offer, he did respond to a fan question about it during a ‘secret’ stand-up gig in Austin, Texas – where he poked fun at the whole thing. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Rogan was quizzed on taking the offer and leaving Spotify during a Q&A portion of the show, where he said: “No, Spotify has hung in with me, inexplicably, let’s see what happens.” Even though the social media calls to cancel Rogan’s deal have been fervorous, it appears as if neither side had the intention of breaking away from each other just yet. That could, obviously, change later down the line – especially if Spotify continues to lose money from it. Though, we’ll just have to wait and see what happens as things move forward.

Joe Rogan shocked after learning how esports attendance compares to UFC Joe Rogan Experience/ValveWith pro-gaming becoming more and more mainstream with traditional sports networks like ESPN broadcasting esports, it’s understandable that people would be shocked by its popularity. That includes folks like UFC commentator and podcast host Joe Rogan. During the Joe Rogan Experience podcast, Quake creator John Carmack said he was impressed with the state of esports today with big prize pools, tournaments, organizations and leagues. “I remember when we did the Quake Red Annihilation tournament. I gave away my first Ferrari as a grand prize,” Carmack said. “And I was thinking this is just the most over-the-top thing thing. This is going to be unmatched for years.” (Timestamp 1:33 for mobile viewers) Of course, just like today’s esports of Fortnite and DOTA, the prizes just keep one-upping each other. “It was only a year later that there was some other tournament with a $100,000 prize coming out. So, that went on much quicker than I expected and today you have the amazing celebrity of the top pro players. It’s great to see the path that it’s taken.” Pro gamers, both retired and active are definitely quite like celebrities or athletes in the sports world. Former Overwatch League pro Felix ‘xQc’ Lengyel routinely streams to over 20,000 people on Twitch. “It’s interesting to see they’re now like legitimate sports stars and they make a tonne of money,” the former Fear Factor host chimed in. “Whereas if you were a kid 10 or 15 years ago, your parents would tell you that you’re wasting your time. ‘This is nonsense. Why you playing these games’. But now you have a legitimate opportunity to be a professional game player.” But Rogan had no idea what he was about to see put before his eyes. A graphic tweeted by Slasher showed the top-earning esports this year. As he soon learned, 16-year-old Fortnite World Cup winner Kyle ‘Bugha’ Giersdorf won more than Tiger Woods and the DOTA TI champions took home over $3 million each. it pays to play video games esports is love, esports is life pic.twitter.com/g6qt2nJDg1 — Rod Breslau (@Slasher) August 25, 2019 “What’s DOTA?” a shocked Rogan asked. “I never even heard of it.” “It’s a Valve game,” Carmack answered and proceeded to explain the concept to the podcast host. “People think oh The Super Bowl. The height of all competitive sports or whatever. A lot of these esports games, especially in South Korea dwarf these numbers,” the game creator continued. Rogan then saw a photo of the DOTA The International from 2016 and had his mind blown. “That looks like 30,000 people! That looks like a UFC event.” “A lot bigger than UFC events,” the Quake creator teased, knowing Rogan’s work with the UFC. To his credit, Rogan was very accepting of esports growth and seemed to welcome it unlike so-called “boomers” who tweet about video games being shown on their TV.

Joe Rogan shocked after learning how many hours people spend on social media a day – Dexerto
Joe Rogan shocked after learning how many hours people spend on social media a day YouTube/JREUFC commentator and famous podcast host Joe Rogan was absolutely stunned after learning how many hours a day the average person spends engaging with social media. It seems like nowadays, social media has taken over the world, with sites such as Twitter, Facebook, Snapchat, Instagram and more dominating app space on phones – and time in our lives. During episode 1649 of the Joe Rogan Experience, Michael Easter, a men’s health writer, was explaining how the idea of boredom has evolved over the years and has reached an entirely new level with modern media. “Nowadays, with this influx of media we have, people spend 11 hours a day engaging with digital media,” Easter said. “Is that real?” Rogan replied back, shocked by the revelation. “Yeah, 11. And that’s the average,” Easter added, prompting a loud ‘what’ from Joe’s mouth. Easter proceeded to reveal an even crazier statistic that he learned as a professor at the University of Nevada teaching media. “First day of class I’ll talk about how things have changed with media. We lived 2.5 million years with no media in our lives and now it’s become our lives,” he said. “Then I’ll ask students to ‘pull out their phones, look at their screen time and tell me how much you have. Who thinks they have the highest?’” After going through students, he’ll see numbers ranging from seven hours and forty-five minutes, eight hours and fifty minutes, all the way to nine hours and sixteen minutes. “That’s your entire day! All on that cell phone,” he exclaimed. According to Easter, nowadays whenever someone has a moment of solitude, they just check their phones. This lead Rogan to remark on how people on dates will be checking their phones instead of focusing on their partner, getting a guffaw from the writer. “They’re not even talking to each other. They’re just looking at each other’s phones! You’re in front of an actual person and you prefer to communicate in digital with someone who isn’t even there!” Rogan added. Their conversation really goes to show just how social media has completely taken over our lives. Being able to disconnect from the digital world may be hard in this day and age, but having the willpower to do so may be imperative to living a better life.

Joe Rogan says ‘we all want’ to see Johnny Depp date his attorney – Dexerto
Joe Rogan says ‘we all want’ to see Johnny Depp date his attorney Spotify/Joe Rogan, Law & Crime NetworkPodcast host Joe Rogan recently expressed his approval for Hollywood star Johnny Depp possibly dating his attorney, Camille Vasquez. There were many influencers who were keenly interested in the defamation lawsuit between Johnny Depp and his ex-wife Amber Heard. Joe Rogan was among the most intrigued. Throughout the trial, Rogan and his guests weighed in on the most recent developments of the case, often giving their opinions on witnesses, the two parties, and their legal teams. While most of the discussion around Depp and Heard had to do with the trial itself, plenty of observers were curious about how Depp and his attorney, Camille Vasquez, were interacting in and out of the courtroom. Rogan thinks Depp & Vasquez should date Camille Vasquez became something of a minor celebrity as a result of her involvement in the trial as Depp’s lawyer. After successfully convincing a Virginia jury to award damages in Depp’s defamation claim against Heard, Vasquez has gone on to do several morning and talk shows, drawing attention from pundits and celebrities alike. As reported by the NY Post, on his most recent podcast with comedians Ari Shaffir, Shane Gillis, and Mark Normand, Rogan commented that “we all want her to fall in love with Johnny secretly, right?” The other comedians agreed with Rogan’s sentiment, with Normand remarking “I think they’ve got a thing.” This isn’t the first time that Rogan has implied a relationship between the two. Weeks ago, after a day of questioning ended, Rogan said “I think she loves him… I think she hates Amber because Amber hurt him.” Much of the speculation about a romance between Depp and Vasquez began when the two embraced following the court ruling in Depp’s favor. While likely innocuous, some observers implied that there could a hidden relationship between Heard’s ex-husband and his attorney. However, Vasquez has reportedly been dating WeWork executive Edward Owen since last November, according to reports.

Joe Rogan shares theory on how Conor McGregor broke his ankle at UFC 264 – Dexerto
Joe Rogan shares theory on how Conor McGregor broke his ankle at UFC 264 YouTube: JRE ClipsUFC commentator Joe Rogan revealed his theory on how Conor McGregor broke his ankle while fighting Dustin Poirier. During the Joe Rogan Experience podcast episode, the comedian explained how the injury might have happened before the fight even began. The trilogy fight between Conor McGregor and Dustin Poirier on July 10 came to a shocking conclusion after McGregor broke his foot at the very end of Round 1. Joe Rogan weighed in on the surprising moment during the July 14 JRE show. According to the stand-up comedian, the Irish fighter’s injury was not a result of a leg check. The Spotify podcast host instead theorized that the break could have happened on numerous occasions, and was the result of sustained damage before the contest. Joe Rogan explains how he thinks Conor McGregor broke his ankle While interviewing neuroscientist Andrew Huberman, Rogan reacted to Conor McGregor’s shocking leg injury during UFC 264. The podcast host explained that the star’s coach, John Kavanagh, revealed that the fighter had sustained damage to the leg while training for his fight against Dustin Poirier. “One of the things that happened in training camp was they think [Conor’s leg] probably cracked in training. And he got it scanned, and there might have been something there but it was hard to tell if it was some sort of hairline fracture. They did their best to try to stay healthy until they could get into the fight,” he said. Rogan then pointed out that Australian kickboxer John Wayne Parr might have found the moment McGregor’s leg broke during the fight before sharing his own theory. “It looked like [Conor’s] shin was compromised on one of the leg kicks. Not the one Dustin checked. It was probably damaged more than once. He throws this kick, and if you watch Conor’s shin, it kind of buckles there,” the UFC commentator exclaimed while watching a clip of the moment. The JRE host added that McGregor then damaged his leg a second time with another kick: “He then throws this front kick. And as he throws it, it hits the elbow, and bam. Now he’s standing on the fracture. He puts it behind him. And then he throws the punch, and when he goes to punch he picks the foot off the ground. Then it just gives out completely. It folds over. It snapped above the ankle.” He also shared his theory in an Instagram post where he uploaded a video clip of the fight. “This is it. You can see where it breaks,” he wrote. Although Rogan later came to believe that he had hurt his leg in numerous spots after John Wayne Parr shared his take on the injury. View this post on Instagram Conor McGregor’s coach, John Kavanagh, was critical of Joe Rogan for interviewing the fighter only moments after his leg had snapped at UFC 264. The trainer said, “Let’s say I was pretty miffed at that idea of shoving a microphone in someone’s face at that stage.” While the Spotify host has yet to address the criticism, he continued to share his analysis of how the Irish fighter sustained his injury. McGregor updated fans on July 11, stating that he was feeling “tremendous” after a successful surgery.

Joe Rogan says people are “dumb” for claiming Jake Paul fights are rigged – Dexerto
Joe Rogan says people are “dumb” for claiming Jake Paul fights are rigged Spotify: Joe Rogan/Instagram: Jake PaulJoe Rogan says people are “dumb” for claiming that Tyron Woodley took a dive in his fight with Jake Paul, noting that the MMA star got hit “perfectly” by the YouTuber. As Jake Paul has continued to pick up wins inside the boxing ring, there have been plenty of critics and skeptics who have been quick to bash his fights and their eventual results. When the YouTuber last stepped into the ring, he faced off against Tyron Woodley for the second time, but he didn’t need points to claim a win over the former UFC champion the second time around. Like in his previous fights, Jake delivered a thunderous knockout to put Woodley down and walk away with the W. Naturally, some onlookers claimed that something was fishy about the result and that the fight was rigged – with some suggesting that Woodley knew exactly what shot to not defend. Though, there have been plenty of people defending Jake in the months since the bout. That list of defenders now includes Joe Rogan as he rewatched the final moments of the fight with UFC Bantamweight champion Aljamain Sterling during episode 125 of the JRE MMA Podcast. “Some people are really dumb and they think that people choose to get knocked out on purpose for money,” Rogan said after rewatching Jake’s knockout blow on Woodley. “Someone said, oh he took a dive in that fight. I go, ‘I don’t even think it’s possible for you to get hit like that and not go unconscious’. Like, can’t you see the way he got hit? He got hit perfectly. “If you watch him face plant, if somebody is going to go out, they’re going to break their fall a little bit, you know? That dude got knocked out for real, for real.” Timestamp of 2:40:00 The UFC commentator noted that it’s not impossible that somebody, somewhere is willing to get knocked out on purpose for the right price, but claimed it’s not going to happen regularly. There is plenty of intrigue surrounding Jake’s return to the ring, but there will be plenty of skeptics who remain too. He’ll just have to prove them wrong.

Joe Rogan says Spotify is “getting its sh*t together” to compete with YouTube – Dexerto
Joe Rogan says Spotify is “getting its sh*t together” to compete with YouTube YT: JRE / SpotifyJoe Rogan has said that Spotify is “getting its sh*t together” when it comes to hosting podcasts, as his fans continue to adjust to JRE episodes being available exclusively on the audio streaming service. The Joe Rogan Experience has, perhaps unexpectedly, grown to be one of the most listened-to podcasts in the world. The ex-MMA commentator has featured some of the world’s biggest celebrities, including Kanye West, Elon Musk and Miley Cyrus. Given its popularity, many were shocked when it was announced, at the back end of 2020, that the podcast would be moving exclusively to Spotify, making the switch from its previous home on YouTube. Clips from episodes can still be posted to YouTube, but the episodes in their entirety are only available on the streaming platform. However, many have argued that listening to podcasts on Spotify is not as refined and user-friendly as it could be. Rogan himself addressed the problems in a recent episode with Hamilton Morris, with the pair discussing how user-friendly Spotify’s podcasts are (or aren’t), especially when compared to its major competitors. Rogan’s guest, Morris, pointed out some of the issues he’s had with the Spotify experience specifically, “This is the one thing that worries me about the move to Spotify. On YouTube, I could just fast-forward over a moment like this.” He also pointed out that he couldn’t increase playback speed, like you can on YouTube. “Spotify is slowly but surely getting its sh-t together, when it comes to video playback and stuff,” Rogan said. “It’s not as smooth as it probably should have been when we first transitioned over in December, but [Spotify] just wasn’t ready for the volume.” He previously highlighted the famous Elon Musk meme, in which the tech billionaire was pictured smoking marijuana on his podcast. The image, and attached video clip, went viral. As a result, Spotify now allow podcasts to be played as videos, but the video player, some have argued leaves much to be desired. Comments, too, are not yet available to users. That’s something Rogan wants to see change, though: “That’s where YouTube shines over all over forums, is that they have that comments section, and I think Spotify needs to recognize that, and I’ve tried to talk to them about that, and there’s been some discussion about putting comments, but one of the things they said is: “if we put comments on one podcast, we have to put them on all podcasts.”” Whether Spotify will move to accommodate Rogan’s wishes remains to be seen but, given the multi-million dollar investment the podcast constituted, we wouldn’t be surprised to see a ‘Comments’ feature on the audio streaming service soon, as well as improved playback and fast-forwarding abilities.

Joe Rogan says he “respects” Conor McGregor despite feud over drug testing – Dexerto
Joe Rogan says he “respects” Conor McGregor despite feud over drug testing Spotify: Joe Rogan/Instagram: Conor McGregorJoe Rogan showed some love to Conor McGregor on episode 1911 of the JRE podcast despite the pair getting into a bit of a viral spat recently. While he has his say on quite a number of topics, it’s not often that Joe Rogan finds himself in a heated feud with someone else for an extended period of time. Though, in late November, the podcast giant found himself in the crosshairs of UFC star Conor McGregor as the Irishman labeled him a “little fool” and mocked his commentary after Rogan had said that McGregor got smashed up in one of his fights. The Notorious one went after Rogan again in December, seemingly accusing him of using steroids as he tweeted out photos of the JRE’s hosts physique at age 52. Though, he did delete them a few hours later. Joe Rogan praises Conor McGregor’s UFC efforts Rogan responded to those claims on his December 13 podcast with Stavros Halkias, as he laughed off McGregor’s posts by saying he’s “correct” with his insinuations. Well, during his December 15 podcast with Mark Boal, Rogan went a step further to bury the hatchet as he praised McGregor and other UFC fighters for stepping into the cage to fight. “They’re choosing to do something insanely difficult,” the UFC commentator said. “The real great ones, I’ve got nothing but profound respect for. A guy like Conor McGregor, you would think on the surface he’s so crazy, he talks so much s*it… that’s an extraordinary human being. That’s a rare, one in X amount of million kind of people that can do what he does and talk the kind of sh*t he does and then get into an Octagon and f*ck people up.” Rogan further praised McGregor as being “extraordinary” in both mind and body, pointing to the mind games he played with Jose Aldo back in 2015 as he shot to stardom in the UFC. Though, it remains to be seen if the featherweight icon will reciprocate the love or if he’ll keep going in on Rogan.

Joe Rogan says he “will quit” JRE Podcast if it has to change for Spotify – Dexerto
Joe Rogan says he “will quit” JRE Podcast if it has to change for Spotify YouTube: JRE Clips / SpotifyJoe Rogan said he would walk away from his Spotify deal if the streaming service continued to tell him how to “behave.” The UFC commentator claimed he has no issues quitting the JRE podcast under the right circumstances. In February, it was reported that Spotify paid Joe Rogan a staggering $200 million for his popular JRE podcast. The lucrative deal got off to a rough start, however, when the comedian was embroiled in backlash for allegedly spreading misinformation. After several controversies, multiple episodes of the popular show had been removed by the streaming giant. In a March interview with MMA star Josh Barnett, the host revealed would make him quit his podcast. Joe Rogan willing to quit Spotify During JRE episode #1797, the popular host opened up about what would happen if he felt like he lost control of his show. Rogan claimed that if he could no longer be himself and do things how he wanted, he would quit. “If I become something different because the podcast grew bigger, I’ll quit. If it gets to a point where I can’t do it anymore, or where I have to do it in some sort of weird way,” Rogan explained to his guest. Her elaborated further and added that he wouldn’t continue the show if he had to behave for other people. “If I have to like walk on eggshells and mind my P’s and Q’s… F**k that.” Given that every JRE episode now has a “medical warning” attached to it and hundreds of previous episodes have been deleted, it will be interesting for fans to see when the podcaster feels that Spotify has crossed his line. Regardless, Joe Rogan’s admission that he would be willing to quit is a pretty big statement considering just how much money the streaming service paid for the popular series. Later on in the episode, the former Fear Factor host also talked about critics now combing over every single second of his interviews to find something they don’t like.

Joe Rogan says Andrew Tate taught “good lessons” before being “deplatformed” – Dexerto
Joe Rogan says Andrew Tate taught “good lessons” before being “deplatformed” YouTube: PowerfulJRE/ FREETOPGVimeo:Spotify podcast star Joe Rogan has claimed that Andrew Tate had issued some “good lessons” for his fans before being “deplatformed” by multiple social media sites. To say that Andrew Tate dominated the internet throughout Summer 2022 would be an understatement. The former kickboxing star sparked controversy and heated debates across social media with his comments, especially his views on women. However, there were growing fears over the influence Tate was having on younger audiences. So, multiple social media platforms took decisive action and the 35-year-old was banned from Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube. Although, Spotify star Joe Rogan has defended the controversial internet star, arguing that other than “misogynistic” comments he did have some positive life lessons. Joe Rogan explains how Andrew Tate “f**ked up” Speaking during his podcast on September 3, Rogan admitted that Tate “f**ked up with the misogynist stuff.” But, he made some interesting commentary on other complex topics. Rogan claimed that Tate offered a positive mindset with regard to his beliefs over motivation and ambition: “If you just concentrate entirely on your feelings you’re not going to get anywhere and that’s true. That’s a good lesson for people to learn.” He added that had Tate “just stuck to the pro-male stuff and pro-accountability and pro-discipline” then he could have avoided the ban. Following on from the scandal, Tate then moved over to “free speech” podcast platform Rumble. But, Rogan, who turned down a $100m deal with the website, believes it could “severely limit” Tate’s influence. Still, Rogan argued that Rumble is “getting bigger people” to join its ranks and that the addition of Tate could help the platform skyrocket in popularity. Many hoped that Tate’s media-wide bans would help him to disappear from the internet. But with him continuing to be a hot topic of discussion by various influencers, it likely won’t be the last we hear of Tate.

Joe Rogan says fans getting tattoos of his face is “getting out of hand” – Dexerto
Joe Rogan says fans getting tattoos of his face is “getting out of hand” YouTube/Instagram: Joe RoganPodcast icon Joe Rogan has said that people getting tattoos of his face is “getting out of hand” as fans have been showing off some ridiculous artwork. The Joe Rogan Experience podcast has an extremely loyal following, even after making the move from YouTube to Spotify. The UFC commentator has spoken about fostering a community in the comments of his videos, and interacts with fans every so often by giving replies on his podcasts. With such a loyal following, some fans show their support in different ways – with some now getting tattoos of Joe’s face on their own bodies, and sort of the artwork is pretty impressive. Rogan has been reposting some of the tattoos on his Instagram page, with some being quite outlandish – one, in particular, depicts the podcast as being surrounded by mushrooms and having an alien on his head. Others also have alien references in there, but all in all, the most popular theme seems to be Joe’s head with a third-eye coming out of the forehead. “Surely there’re going to run out of people willing to do this soon…,” Rogan commented on one post, but the tattoos have continued. “Cleeeeeeearly this s**t is getting out of hand,” he said on March 6, following the latest update. View this post on Instagram Some of his fans were impressed by the art, but not everyone was sold. Imagine getting a tattoo for Instagram clout,” replied one fan. “Why are dudes tattooing another dudes face on their body?” asked another. Clearly, given that Rogan is taken aback by them, the tattoos will continue, but who knows just how outlandish they’ll get. He has touched on plenty of theories beyond aliens, so there are different topics for fans to work with. We’ll just have to wait and see if these Rogan tatooes get better, or somehow, get worse.

Joe Rogan reveals why new podcast episode suddenly cut off before ending – Dexerto
Joe Rogan reveals why new podcast episode suddenly cut off before ending YouTube: JRE ClipsJoe Rogan has explained why episode 1622 of his JRE podcast had a bit of an abrupt ending amid discussion from fans about a possible reason. Since 2009, the podcast has seen guests from all walks of life get involved. Some tell their life story, while others explain weird theories, and give Joe a bit more insight into a field that he wants to learn more about. It’s had many repeat guests, with conversations going on for hours – stretching beyond the length of a usual podcast if the discussion is flowing. While he’s not really had many abrupt endings which cause fans to ask what happen, episode 1622, where he was speaking to retired Navy Seal Marcus Luthrell, ended pretty abruptly, and he’s now lifted the lid as to why. Why did episode 1622 of JRE end so soon? The UFC commentator’s interview with the military hero – whose story forms the basis of the hit movie Lone Survivor – was all set to hit another round of topics when Luthrell left to use the bathroom. However, that’s where the pod came to an end. Rogan took to Instagram on March 26 to plug the episode, complimenting Luthrell for his appearance and explained why it came to a close so abruptly. “We talked a lot of s**t and drank a lot of whiskey,” Rogan posted. “For people wondering why the podcast cut off abruptly after Marcus went to take a leak we decided that perhaps he had consumed a little too much to continue talking, and in retrospect, I believe that was the correct decision.” View this post on Instagram Rogan also had good news for anyone who enjoyed the episode and wants them to do it again. “We’ll do it again, I’m sure,” he added. “I enjoyed the f**k out of it, and I hope you do too.” When that return episode will be, though, remains to be seen, but at least it’s going to happen.

Joe Rogan gets roasted in hilarious airplane banner joke before UFC 263 – Dexerto
Joe Rogan gets roasted in hilarious airplane banner joke before UFC 263 Instagram: Joe Rogan / Twitter: Rebecca KeeganJoe Rogan’s slightly below-average height has been subject to memes in recent months, but a dedicated troll took it to the next level and paid a pilot to display one in the sunny Los Angeles sky. Joe is the first person to admit he isn’t the tallest man on the planet. However, despite claiming that he is approximately 5 feet 8 inches multiple times, including a conversation with Neil deGrasse Tyson on his podcast, some fans aren’t convinced he’s telling the truth. If you venture deep into the Joe Rogan Experience subreddit, you’ll see countless threads about his height, including some that have pictures comparing him to people who are supposedly his height or shorter. The community’s obsession with his height has birthed a series of memes that revolve around comically photoshopping Joe to appear much shorter than he is. However, someone decided to take it even further and hilariously paid a pilot to fly a banner that said, “Joe Rogan is literally 5 foot 3.” It could be seen throughout the clear Los Angeles sky. and now it’s doing the rounds on the internet, too. And the funniest part about it is that the pilot made a glaring spelling error in the banner, forgetting to include the ‘R’ in ‘literally.’ https://twitter.com/outblssm/status/1403824444015923200?s=20 People had mixed reactions to the meme. Some thought it was “money well spent” in the sense that it gave hundreds of thousands of onlookers, both in person and on the internet, a good chuckle. But on the other hand, others struggled to understand how the obsession with his height has gotten so far. Either way, it’s trending worldwide and will almost certainly be mentioned in one of his upcoming podcast episodes.

Joe Rogan reveals where he’s taking JRE Podcast next after leaving LA – Dexerto
Joe Rogan reveals where he’s taking JRE Podcast next after leaving LA YouTube: PowerfulJRE[jwplayer mgzBNoPb]Joe Rogan has explained his reasons behind moving from Los Angeles to Texas and hinted at the move taking place sooner rather than later. Ever since Joe Rogan started his Joe Rogan Experience podcast, it’s been hosted in California – either at his home in Los Angeles or in different studios and comedy clubs around the state. However, not long after Rogan penned his game-changing move to Spotify, he revealed that he would be moving away from California and heading to Texas. While the reasons have been kept on the down-low since, with people left to speculate after Rogan noted that he could just fly guests into Texas for a show, he’s since revealed his own reasons for wanting the move. During the 1514th episode of his podcast, Rogan had been chatting with Joe De Sena, who turned the tables and asked him about the upcoming move to Texas. “I just want to go somewhere in the center of the country, somewhere its easier to travel to both places, and somewhere where you have a little bit more freedom,” Rogan explained. He added that he believes Los Angeles is overcrowded and while that usually isn’t a problem, it has become an issue in the time of a global crisis. The podcast host continued: “When you look at the traffic, the economic despair, the homelessness problem, I think there are too many people here, it’s not tenable.” As for where the UFC commentator is headed, he wouldn’t reveal anywhere specific in Texas but he has previously spoken about Austin. Rogan did note, however, that his podcast producer, Jamie, is joining him on the move and that they’ll be heading there “soon.” It won’t affect his hugely successful podcast or comedy career, either, as Rogan added that he’s actually been able to perform stand up in Texas during the ongoing situation and that he’s got plenty of friends in the state.

Joe Rogan reveals why he might move JRE Podcast out of LA – Dexerto
Joe Rogan reveals why he might move JRE Podcast out of LA Joe Rogan / UnsplashJoe Rogan has revealed some of his plans for the popular JRE podcast following his recent Spotify announcement, sharing that he might soon be leaving Los Angeles. Joe Rogan is host to the wildly successful ‘Joe Rogan Experience’ podcast, which pulls in millions of viewers and listeners per episode and has featured stars such as Robert Downey Jr, Elon Musk, and much more. However, after it was announced that it would soon be exclusive to Spotify, Rogan revealed some plans for the future of his podcast and that he was even eyeing up a new location to record from. During the JRE episode on June 5 alongside Indie band HoneyHoney, the musical duo commented on Rogan’s current setup highlighting how similar it was to his last studio, which was also based in Los Angeles. The UFC commentator replied, sharing that it was an easy transition from his previous spot because he does not have a massive production crew as some listeners might have come to believe. “There’s no crew, it’s just Jamie and me, it’s just a trick,” he responded, before teasing yet another move, “I’m going to do it again in Texas.” Topic starts at 6:37 While Los Angeles has always been considered a hub for the top stars and influencers, Rogan revealed that he would not be too concerned over any missed opportunities and pointed out his plan for regular guests. “There’s always air travel,” he continued, “Listen my thoughts about Austin, if I do move there, I’m just going to fly people in, I’ll fly anybody in.” Rogan has been considering a move away from Los Angeles for some time. He even suggested, on one of his recent Fight Companions, that he and other comedians such as Bryan Callen and Brendan Schaub could set up their own comedy club in a new city. While it is not confirmed yet if the move to Austin will take place, with his recent Spotify deal estimated to be worth over $100 million, he should have the means to do so if he chooses.

Joe Rogan reveals the only way Logan Paul could beat Floyd Mayweather – Dexerto
Joe Rogan reveals the only way Logan Paul could beat Floyd Mayweather YouTube: Joe Rogan Experience, Impaulsive[jwplayer 6Glq7oFz] Joe Rogan has revealed the one way in which he believes YouTuber Logan Paul could beat Floyd Mayweather in their upcoming boxing match. The match between these two was announced on September 16, sending fans into frenzy at the thought of a YouTuber facing off against one of the greatest boxers to ever grace the sport. Many believe that the fight won’t go ahead at all, including our very own Richard Lewis who said as much in an episode of Influenced, but for all intents and purposes, it looks like an exhibition match could be on the cards. In an episode of the Joe Rogan Experience podcast, Rogan brought up the fight, and revealed the only way in which he believes Logan can win. The only issue is, Rogan believes the rules need to be slightly different for Paul to get the best of the 50-0 undefeated fighter. “Logan Paul is a really good athlete and an enormous man,” the Mixed Martial Arts expert said. “Now, if it was an MMA fight, I would pick Logan Paul. Listen to me, there’s a video of Logan Paul wrestling Paulo Costa… he is exhibiting real skill, wrestling skill.” Rogan goes on to call Paul “very athletic” and say that he punches “with very good technique,” so there may be a sliver of hope for Paul in Rogan’s eyes. Timestamp 1:00 The idea is also bandied about that Logan could win if he manages to pull off one good jab — after all, he is significantly bigger than Mayweather, so there is some advantage. That said, the chances of them deciding to make this an MMA match rather than just a boxing match is minuscule, especially given Mayweather has no experience in the sport, and Logan was a successful high school wrestler who has sparred with UFC greats such as the aforementioned Costa. Needless to say, if this fight does indeed go ahead, it’s guaranteed to be an interesting one for everybody involved.

Joe Rogan reveals what Daniel Cormier really said to Jake Paul in UFC 261 confrontation – Dexerto
Joe Rogan reveals what Daniel Cormier really said to Jake Paul in UFC 261 confrontation Joe Rogan/Jake Paul/Wikimedia Commons: X2oThroughout UFC 261, despite some major fights taking place, there was one name making headlines across the entire internet: Jake Paul. The YouTube superstar showed up at the event just days after beating former UFC man Ben Askren in a boxing match, and had the entire crowd chanting “F**k Jake Paul” throughout. What really took fans by surprise though was his confrontation with former heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier, and it looks like things could be heating up between the two of them. While there are videos of the exchange, the crowd noise drowns out what was said — but now Rogan has explained what actually went down. Daniel Cormier online “Imma Smack Jake Paul when I see him”Daniel Cormier in person… 🤔 pic.twitter.com/zHnssneYBV — Jake Paul (@jakepaul) April 25, 2021 Discussing the Jake Paul v Ben Askren pay-per-view numbers, as well as the UFC event itself, Rogan and guest Andrew Santino obviously couldn’t ignore the obvious Paul v Cormier ordeal. With Santino asking what Cormier really said to the YouTube star, Rogan revealed all. He said: “DC said ‘Take my f**king name out of your mouth, I’m not a kid, I will f**k you up.’” He added that “it’s a f**king former UFC heavyweight champion of the world… That’s not what you want!” Santino commends Paul on his ability to “p*ss everybody off” before the two discuss the legitimacy of the Askren v Paul PPV numbers. Dana White recently accused Jake Paul of lying about said numbers which, according to Rogan, more than double that of the UFC 261 figures. Cormier isn’t the only UFC fighter Paul has beef with now, either. On April 28, the former Disney star accepted a challenge from the 19-1 welterweight champion Kamara Usman for a boxing match. Needless to say, Jake Paul has got his pick of the bunch right now.

Joe Rogan reveals Spotify deal was almost pulled during his biggest controversy – Dexerto
Joe Rogan reveals Spotify deal was almost pulled during his biggest controversy Spotify/Joe RoganJoe Rogan says it was “touch and go” whether Spotify were going to cancel his deal when the platform came under pressure to do so from artists and sponsors. When Joe Rogan first announced that he was taking his podcast to Spotify, plenty of fans were wary about the move – with concerns including the lack of a video player, no more YouTube clips, and whether or not Spotify would have creative control. Rogan’s massive deal meant that he was able to get a few things addressed pretty quickly, as the platform implemented videos, but the exclusivity and control by Spotify has always loomed large. None more so than when he created a storm for the controversial guests he had on during the global health situation. At the time, Spotify’s CEO Daniel Ek compared Rogan’s content to rappers, noting that they wouldn’t censor him. However, a number of episodes from his back catalog were removed and content disclaimers were put on some newer episodes. Joe Rogan says Spotify deal was “touch and go” despite “great” relationship It was a topic that Dave Portnoy brought up when he was a guest on episode 1920 of the JRE Podcast, as Rogan noted it was “touch and go” for a period. “Well, the people at Spotify weren’t (concerned). There were just a couple of people, like tech people, that were upset,” Rogan said, noting that there were complaints about “misinformation” and Spotify was “apprehensive” about some guests. “There was a lot of pressure from advertisers, there was a lot of pressure from different people, artists like Neil Young and Joni Mitchell pulled their music, and it was touch and go.” Rogan said that his relationship with Spotify has always been “great,” and praised them for standing by him. The JRE host has ultimately continued to have similar guests on to those that sparked the initial outrage as the pressure to sever the deal has died down.

Joe Rogan reveals surprising update on results of his carnivore diet – Dexerto
Joe Rogan reveals surprising update on results of his carnivore diet Joe Rogan/UnsplashPopular podcast host and UFC commentator Joe Rogan has revealed some surprising changes after taking on the carnivore diet at the start of the year. The carnivore diet has become increasingly popular since stories of its success were shared by popular psychologist Dr. Jordan B Peterson and his daughter Mikhaila, who inspired Rogan to give it a try after appearing on his show. Although the Rogan had initially claimed that he was experiencing some gruesome side effects after starting the new diet, he shared some surprising news with his fans after completing his first month. The UFC commentator released his latest update on the diet on January 31 and, to many fans’ surprise, Joe Rogan explained that there were many upsides to his new eating habits. “So I did the carnivore diet for all of January” Rogan shared, “I lost 12 pounds, gained a ton of energy, my energy levels were completely flat the whole month, no ups and downs from crashing after eating.” “I had a belly and a lot of people made fun of me and fat-shamed me,” he expressed, before taking his shirt off to reveal his progress, ”I lost all my fat, I lost all of the belly, I lost my love handles.” https://www.instagram.com/p/B8ARl8VFJp3/?igshid=4x0u0lbsymuk Although he was happy with the effects that came along with the strict diet, Rogan was still unsure if he was stick with it, “I don’t know if I’m going to keep eating like this but it was tremendously beneficial.” Rogan also explained that he had an autoimmune disorder and even it was affected by the new diet, “I also have an autoimmune disorder, its called vitiligo, and my vitiligo improved, I had a bunch of white spots fill in.” “I went into it thinking that this carnivore diet was wacky and I probably would think it’s nonsense but this is as good as I’ve felt in a long time,” the popular podcast host claimed after admitting he was initially skeptical of the diet. He also later shared that the more gruesome side effects of starting the diet were quick to go away, explaining that his body adapted to the major shift in lifestyle after sticking with it for two weeks.

Joe Rogan reveals one “wack” thing he didn’t like about ‘The Batman’ – Dexerto
Joe Rogan reveals one “wack” thing he didn’t like about ‘The Batman’ YouTube: PowerfulJRE / Warner Bros / DCJoe Rogan shared his reaction to Matt Reeves’ ‘The Batman,’ saying that, although he loved the film, there was one “wack” thing he couldn’t get over. Matt Reeves’ ‘The Batman’ swooped into theaters last month to critical acclaim from comic book fans and film savants alike. The detective-noir take on the caped crusader saw Robert Pattinson’s Batman take on the Riddler in a white-knuckle game of cat and mouse that earned it an 86% Certified Fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes. Although superhero fans have debated as to whether or not this newest flick lives up to the likes of ‘The Dark Knight,’ the general consensus seems positive, overall. Joe Rogan gives his verdict on ‘The Batman’ Comedian and podcast host Joe Rogan is among the ranks of fans who liked the film, calling it “great” in a recent episode of the Joe Rogan Experience with guest Brendan Schaub. “It’s a great Batman,” Rogan admitted. “I thought it was the best one. I say that, and then I need to go watch the other ones again, with fresh eyes.” However, there was one particular element of the flick that he just couldn’t accept — the costumes. “The costumes were a little wack,” he said. “You think?” Schaub posed. “See, I thought it was more realistic. Like, at least Catwoman owned cats.” “She barely covered her face,” Rogan retorted. “She was too hot. They didn’t want to cover any of her face, just a little tiny thing across her nose.” “Which I appreciate,” Schaub joked. “The Riddler was kinda silly, with the glasses,” Rogan continued. Despite Rogan’s issues with the costumes, both stars could admit that the film did have aspects that made it amazing, including Colin Farrell’s jaw-dropping transformation into the Penguin. While Rogan can’t help comparing the film to ‘Joker,’ it’s definitely up there in his list — although Twitch streaming star Ludwig definitely didn’t feel the same.

Joe Rogan reveals simple personal trick to losing weight – Dexerto
Joe Rogan reveals simple personal trick to losing weight Spotify/Joe RoganPodcast giant Joe Rogan has explained the simple trick he uses when he wants to lose weight, and no, it doesn’t involve another crazy diet. As much as Joe Rogan loves to dive deep into MMA, conspiracies, internet culture, and everything else on the Joe Rogan Experience, he also loves to talk about fitness and health. Over the years, the UFC commentator has left fans astounded – and sometimes worried – by his fitness regime and diets, especially whenever he talks about his carnivore diet or spending thousands on workout equipment. The 54-year-old is in pretty good shape but whenever he finds himself feeling a bit on the heavier side, he’s got a simple way to get himself back on track again. During episode 1816 of the JRE Podcast, Joe welcomed Gad Saad onto the show to talk about his own weight loss journey. Saad noted that he had managed to drop around 86lbs and then asked Joe about how he deals with losing weight and if he ever gets overweight. “I’ve been like 5lbs overweight before… 10lbs overweight. And then, I always go like ‘you fat f**k’ and then I lose the weight,” Rogan explained, adding that it’s not a vanity issue, but just how he wants to keep himself. “It’s a health issue. I work out, I do martial arts. If I’m fat, I can’t work out, but if I can, I feel it… it’s like I’ve put sludge in my engine. The fattest I’ve ever got is 207lbs.” Timestamp of 6:00 As Rogan notes, he regularly trains in martial arts and has even competed in events before. So, he needs to keep the pounds off to be able to compete in his weight class. It’s not the craziest thing he’s ever done to lose weight before, but, it’s a simple thing that keeps him ticking over and clearly works. As they say, starting is the hardest part.

Joe Rogan reveals new JRE Podcast studio in Texas, and it’s a throwback – Dexerto
Joe Rogan reveals new JRE Podcast studio in Texas, and it’s a throwback YouTube: JRE ClipsJoe Rogan has revealed the first look at his new Texas-based JRE Podcast studio in an episode with comedian Tom Segura, and it’s a throwback for his long-time fans. Since starting in 2009, the Joe Rogan Podcast has had a few homes in its time. It’s been based out of comedy clubs, Rogan’s home, as well as studios in both Los Angeles and Texas. When Rogan revealed that his time in Los Angeles was up and that he was making his way to Texas back in June, he also signed a mega deal to take his podcast to Spotify. As a result, he got a new studio as well. The red light-lit, spaceship-like setup didn’t go down too well with fans at first with many calling it “tacky” and imploring the UFC commentator to go back to his old simple set-up. Well, now, he sort of has done. Rogan teased that a new studio was in the works at the end of March and on his April 10 podcast with Tom Segura, he’s finally shown it off, and it’s a bit of a trip. The wood wall behind Rogan, the red curtain behind where the guests sit, and the big wooden table between them makes it seems like the podcast host has just flown in his old LA studio, but there are a few fresh tweaks. Instead of just having a plain wall behind him, Rogan has a custom Joe Rogan Experience light on the wall that appears as if it can be tweaked to display different messages based on which guest he has appearing on the show at that time. Fans and former guests have already praised the new look too. “The previous studio looked like Mars. This one looks like Texas. Love it,” commented Lex Fridman. “The new studio looks bad ass!” said weightlifter Wes Kitts. Read More: Joe Rogan’s $14.4m Texas mansion in pictures – It won’t be long before other guests start to make their way to the new studio, and there should be a few funny remarks about how it looks like they’ve gone back in time.

Joe Rogan reveals one change he wants on Spotify to be more like YouTube – Dexerto
Joe Rogan reveals one change he wants on Spotify to be more like YouTube YouTube/JoeRoganJoe Rogan revealed that he’s been fighting to try and get a comments section on Spotify as he tries to bring over some of the key features he had on YouTube after revealing that changes are coming to his new platform. The Joe Rogan Experience Podcast has been on the air since 2009, with well over 1600 episodes in the bank. Though it’s been going for over the decade, the podcast has seen unrivaled success in recent years, thanks to interesting moments going viral on YouTube and social media. Now the podcast has moved over to Spotify, with Rogan benefiting in a huge way, but he still yearns for some of the things that made having a podcast on YouTube so great. And that includes the always controversial comments section. In the past, the UFC commentator has used the comments section on his show, but Spotify doesn’t have that, so the feedback isn’t as instant. So, he’s hoping for change, telling comedian Tim Dillion that he wants a few tweaks. Read More: Who has the most posts on TikTok? – “The other thing about podcasts, and this is a thing I’ve been talking to Spotify about, as much as people hate the YouTube comment section, I think it’s important,” he said on episode 1610, after comparing podcasts to radio shows. “It’s one of the reasons I still have clips on YouTube, it was one of the things I wanted period – you have to have clips, we have to have clips up.” Rogan noted that changes are coming, but comments are important. “You’ve got to have comments because it gives people a sense that they can talk about it.” Timestamp of 76:30 As Rogan has noted before, on episode 1607, the viral clips help draw attention to a podcast – just like how Elon Musk smoking a joint on their first podcast together spread across the internet like wildfire and became an instant meme. He’s gotten a video component to his podcast on Spotify, even though fans have called for changes, so it remains to be seen if he’ll get his wish when it comes to implementing a comments section.

Joe Rogan reveals Kanye West’s “wild” plans for scrapped JRE Podcast studio design – Dexerto
Joe Rogan reveals Kanye West’s “wild” plans for scrapped JRE Podcast studio design YouTube: JRE/WikiMedia Commons: David ShakboneJoe Rogan has revealed the “wild” plans that Kanye West had for his studio redesign that were ultimately scrapped before his podcast appearance. Over the years, Joe Rogan has had some incredibly highly-anticipated guests on his JRE Podcast, but getting Kanye West to join him on set was a bit of a monumental moment. The iconic Chicago rapper is hard to nail down, unless he’s got new music on the way, so getting him to fly to Texas and sit down for a few hours was a bit of a coup for Rogan. Naturally, the pair covered a wide range of topics in their sit-down, with Kanye even offering to re-do the original design of Rogan’s new Austin-based studio. While he didn’t reveal too much at the time, the UFC Commentator has now given some insight into Ye’s plans. Speaking on episode 1694 of the JRE Podcast, Rogan touched on Kanye’s recent outlandish get-up for his DONDA album premiere, where fans packed into the Mercedes Benz Arena in Atlanta, Georgia to hear his new tracks. Rogan then switched to praising the way Ye thinks about things, touching on the conversation they had previously. “Before he came on, there was a point in time where he wanted to redesign my studio. He’s like, I want to redesign a studio, I want to do it somewhere else. I was like ok,” Rogan said, noting that Kanye wasn’t a fan of his old, spaceship-like set up and had some grand ideas. “All of a sudden, we’re on Facetime and he starts showing me sketches he already has of the new studio that he wants to design. He was making a studio like a womb! This big crazy studio, he had wild ideas. His brain, it’s like he’s on jet fuel, just constantly going,” the podcast host added. Timestamp of 3:42 Of course, Rogan ultimately made his new Austin studio resemble his previous backdrop with a bit of a throwback redesign. As for getting Kanye back on the podcast, Joe might be full of praise for him, but Kanye is elusive, so who knows.

Joe Rogan reveals major reason YouTube ‘forced’ his huge Spotify switch – Dexerto
Joe Rogan reveals major reason YouTube ‘forced’ his huge Spotify switch The Joe Rogan ExperienceJoe Rogan revealed a major reason behind his move from YouTube to Spotify in a conversation with Tulsi Gabard on Episode #1599 of the Joe Rogan Experience. Joe Rogan’s fans still have mixed feelings about his multi-million dollar move to Spotify. However, nobody can blame him for accepting such a lucrative offer. But despite their concerns and accusations, it seems like the reason behind his switch wasn’t all about the money. In Episode #1599 of the Joe Rogan Experience with Tulsi Gabbard, they eventually started talking about censorship. It’s an issue that Joe has been concerned about for a very long time, and apparently, it was one of the major reasons why he switched to Spotify in the first place. “It’s a weird time when someone can just decide that they just don’t like you, or what you’re doing is problematic. It’s one of the reasons why I went to Spotify. It’s because they had a vested interest in me succeeding. “Like, instead of worrying about me being pulled from their network. It’s not that I never really worried about that with YouTube. But it’s always possible, and there were some weird shenanigans they would do with demonetizing specific episodes just randomly, and we would question it.” “It’s a way of censoring people without censoring people. Because you say, oh, were you guys talking about that? Oh yeah, you know, we can’t put ads on that. Oh, did you guys swear? Oh yeah, we’re going to have to demonetize that.” “There was a lot of weird stuff like that. They’re great overall, but the arbitrary decisions are [often] done by people that work there. Someone has the ability to decide whether you make money off something or whether you don’t make money off something.” “It’s not a primary concern, but it points to an issue, and the issue is someone being able to dictate what you can or can’t talk about, or someone incentivizing you to talk about something or not talk about something. I don’t want to be a part of that.” The relevant part of the podcast happens between 112:00 and 114:00. Interestingly, the narrative on social media has been that Spotify has been censoring the podcast. Joe has flat out denied and said they’re a “great company” and “very open-minded.” However, that didn’t stop some fans from begging him to go back to YouTube. “Go back on Youtube, it’s easier,” one pleaded. “YouTube was more convenient,” another stated. There were also complaints about no comment section. Sadly for fans wanting to see JRE back on YouTube, there are no signs it will be happening any time soon, especially considering the Spotify deal was for multiple years.

Joe Rogan reveals how he gained podcast success in Jon Stewart interview – Dexerto
Joe Rogan reveals how he gained podcast success in Jon Stewart interview YouTube: PowerfulJRE[jwplayer h3XPfMqQ]During the June 26 episode of the Joe Rogan Experience, the UFC commentator opened up to comedian Jon Stewart about how he became a successful podcast host. Joe Rogan may be known today for running the most popular podcast in the world, boasting over eight million subscribers on his YouTube account alone. However, the UFC commentator originally got his start in stand up comedy and sitcoms. During his June 26 sit down with former Daily Show personality Jon Stewart, the host opened up about finding success with his online show. The commentator explained how he transitioned from being a comic to interviewing some of the most famous people in the world. Joe Rogan explains how he achieved podcast success For over a decade, Jon Stewart hosted the popular Daily Show before retiring in 2015. The comedic commentator sat down with Joe Rogan during his latest episode, and discussed a variety of topics from current events to cancel culture. However during the discussion, Rogan detailed how he became one of the top podcast hosts in the world. “The early episodes sucked. I didn’t know what I was doing, and I didn’t think anyone was listening. It was just for fun. There was a lot of just hanging out with comics,” he said. He then explained how the show went from hanging out with friends to more serious interviews. “Along the way, I started interviewing actual interesting people, and talking to them, and having conversations. There is a place for comedy. But I make a point to never force comedy where it does not belong.” Rogan followed that up and detailed how it was a learning process to become a good host. “It wasn’t that it was a big transition, it was that I had to learn how to do this thing that I didn’t think was a skill. I thought like being on the radio or podcasting was just talking,” he said. The UFC commentator stated that you have to speak in a way that people will want to listen. “You’re making it entertaining, and keeping your ego in check. You’re moving the conversation along, without being overbearing. You’re not letting people ramble too much.” He then revealed how viewer feedback helped shape the show. “Along the way, I read a bunch of criticism about what is wrong with the podcast. We talk over each other, I talk too much, whatever it was. And I took it to heart. I got to consider people are listening to this,” he said. (Topic starts at 47:25.) While Rogan stated that he separates his comedic chops from his hosting gig, he compared the skill of keeping a conversation engaging to that of stand-up comedy – in that the audience allows the comic to take them on a ride with their routine. The 52-year-old continues to interview some of the world’s most interesting people, with Jon Stewart being no exception. In May, he also revealed that he had signed a multi-million dollar deal to bring his podcast exclusively to Spotify by the end of the year.

Joe Rogan reveals insane plans for 2000 acre doomsday ranch – Dexerto
Joe Rogan reveals insane plans for 2000 acre doomsday ranch Spotify: Joe RoganPodcaster Joe Rogan has revealed his mind-boggling plans for a 2000 acre doomsday ranch in Texas for when “sh*t hits the fan.” While filming an episode of the Joe Rogan Experience podcast with Texas native and reality TV star Richard Rawlings, commonly known for his work on Fast N’ Loud, the two discussed Rogan’s move from Los Angeles to Texas among other things. Eventually, Rawlings asked Rogan whether he’d bought a ranch, which he hasn’t yet, only currently living out of his incredible $14.4m mansion in Austin, Texas. That said, Rogan does have plans for a ranch, but they’re far more fleshed out than you could imagine. Far more than just a regular ranch, Rogan wants a massive place that can house everyone he cares about when the time comes, and he’s considered every possibility. “I’ve got a crazy plan,” he said during the episode. “The plan is to have a place that’s completely self-sufficient. Like a hunting ranch,” before adding that he’ll be getting “everything” and the “whole deal” including water, wind turbines, animals, vegetables and more. Then, he says, he wants room for friends for when “sh*t hits the fan,” comparing it to his time in LA. “When sh*t hit the fan in LA, it opened my eyes… I realized that we got really lucky… but there was a real concern that it would get so bad that the supply chain would fall apart, and I would have to feed my friends… I should probably have a place where all the people that I love can exist and survive.” Topic starts at -2:36:32 Incredibly, Rogan’s reasoning does make sense. Should there be any major issues, having a place where you can look after your family and friends and offer a sustainable life to them is perfect, despite the likelihood of such an event occurring. Earlier in the podcast, Rogan also spoke about upgrading his studio set, saying that the current one is only there because they had five weeks and a deadline to hit, so expect to see a brand new studio before a doomsday ranch at the very least. Rogan has clearly thought his plans out extensively and knows exactly what he wants — now it’s just a matter of waiting to see what he actually does.

Joe Rogan reveals his daughter is a huge SSSniperWolf fan – Dexerto
Joe Rogan reveals his daughter is a huge SSSniperWolf fan Instagram/sssniperwolf/joeroganPodcast host and UFC color commentator Joe Rogan revealed that his daughter is, surprisingly, a huge fan of YouTuber SSSniperWolf. SSSniperWolf is easily one of the most popular content creators on YouTube, boasting an incredible 29.6m subscribers, and has emerged as one of TikTok’s top influencers, as well. During episode 1716 of the Joe Rogan Experience with Steve Rinella, the discussion turned to how much freedom children have and how times have changed from when they were young. “One of my kids, all she likes to watch on YouTube is this girl called SSSniperWolf,” Rogan stated. “It’s very funny, she does like these reaction videos and stuff, but it’s very G-rated.” According to Rogan, his daughter “loves watching her” – and while that’s fine and good, he keeps a close eye on what his children are up to online. “How much freedom do you give them?” Joe pondered. “How much do you talk to them about stuff, how much do you let them figure stuff out on their own? You know, it’s tricky and it’s a weird world because it didn’t exist previously.” Rogan then explained how he pulled off watching “f**ked up” videos back when he was a kid, and how it required some planning ahead. “When we wanted to watch Faces of Death, someone had to get the video. One of our friends had to lock the door, you know. We’re in the basement. One of our friends had to watch the door to make sure the parents didn’t come down. Then we put it on the VCR and we were ready!” he exclaimed. “If someone came down you’d pop that f**king tape out and hide it,” he grinned. “These kids today, all they have to do is just have a phone.” Given how Rogan’s daughter is such a fan of SSSniperWolf, it would be fun to see if the YouTuber ever joins him on his podcast.

Joe Rogan reveals his one major question about Elon Musk’s Twitter investment – Dexerto
Joe Rogan reveals his one major question about Elon Musk’s Twitter investment YouTube: Joe Rogan/FlickrJoe Rogan says he’s “really interested” to see what type of sway Elon Musk will have over Twitter after he spent $2.9 billion to purchase just over 9% of the social media platform. Over the last few months, Elon Musk hasn’t pulled any punches when it comes to Twitter. While he’s still been sharing his usual memes on a regular basis, the South African business magnate has been critical of the platform as well. It reached a point, at the end of March, where his followers were encouraging him to purchase Twitter outright. Musk, of course, didn’t do that, but he did invest almost $3 billion into the social media giant, taking a 9% stake in the company. The 50-year-old has worked fast too, as he’s put out ideas to improve the platform with an edit button – that is now in the works – as well as tweaks to Twitter’s subscription model. Plus, he’s captured the interest of Joe Rogan. During episode 1803 of the Joe Rogan Experience, the UFC commentator labeled Musk as a “wizard” as he touched on his recent purchase of Twitter shares. “I’m interested to see because I hear they’re going to put an edit button in now, that was one of the things he suggested,” Rogan said, touching on Musk’s polls and posts about changes. Though, the podcast giant was slightly unsure if the platform actually has to value Musk’s input. “If he’s actually listened to… I don’t know how much power a person who is worth 9% has over a company, but, do they have to listen to him though? Do they have to listen to him in terms of like whether they want to ban people?” Rogan asked. While Rogan is fascinated by the purchase, he admits there are plenty of things that remain up in the air that he’ll have to watch unfold. The podcast host is an infrequent poster on Twitter himself, but maybe Musk’s presence at the company could sway him into changing that.

Joe Rogan reveals he convinced Spotify to keep JRE podcast on video – Dexerto
Joe Rogan reveals he convinced Spotify to keep JRE podcast on video The Joe Rogan ExperienceJoe Rogan explained how he convinced Spotify to offer a video platform for his podcast, instead of turning it into an audio-only broadcast, by referring to the iconic moment when Elon Musk smoked weed. Joe Rogan’s podcast has produced many iconic moments in recent years. We’ve seen everything from him defend Kanye West from people who call him crazy to making his desk wider in fear of an energized Mike Tyson. Still, nothing compares to the time Elon Musk smoked a joint on the podcast during his first appearance in Episode #1169. It was an unexpected but pleasant surprise to fans. However, the iconic moment also played an important role in negotiations with Spotify. In Episode #1607, Joe explained how Spotify originally wanted to only do audio recordings of his podcast. But then he and his manager convinced them to include video by referring to the moment Elon Musk smoked weed. “They created video because of the conversation we had about this podcast,” he said. “They wanted the podcast to be audio-only. And my manager was like, think about the Elon Musk moment when Elon Musk was smoking weed. That was a viral moment that only happens with video.” “I remember I was at the airport… and I’m looking at this CNN monitor, and it shows Elon smoking weed on my podcast,” he said. “And I’m like, oh no! I was like, what have I done?” “But those moments, those crazy viral moments, they don’t exist without video,” he added. “And my manager said that to Spotify, and Spotify was like, you’re right, and then they started working on the video platform.” It’s not just the viral moments that happen on the set. It’s also the studio itself. Given Joe Rogan built a new one back in September 2020, he’d want to show it off on camera. Joe’s podcast became a Spotify exclusive after he signed a multi-million dollar deal. Some fans aren’t convinced it was the right move even though he is adamant that he had a good reason to make the switch. Either way, they’ll be relieved to know that Spotify listened to Joe’s suggestion in this instance. They can thank Elon Musk for deciding to take a puff from the joint.
