IShowSpeed ends broadcast after receiving racist donation messages On many live streaming platforms, fans can donate money to their favorite broadcasters. Alongside this donation, they can also attach a message, which is often read aloud by a text-to-speech program for streamers to respond to. Speed was just about to boot up a GTA session when he received a SuperChat donation from a viewer pretending to be MrBeast, another creator with whom Speed had FaceTimed earlier this month. Their donation message contained hateful and racist remarks, prompting Speed to shout in frustration and get up from his PC. Dr Disrespect ended up rounding out the top 10 with around 1.5M hours watched. For the two-time, these numbers are nothing to scoff at, but it goes to show just how dominant Speed has become when compared with Doc. Given Speed’s insane July that saw him reach the 10 million subscriber milestone, it will be fun to see what his stats look like in the following month and if he can end up surpassing his June performance. He covered and uncovered the screen multiple times, showing Steve’s male anatomical parts going into Jenny’s mouth. At the time, he had over 90K concurrent viewers. This evoked a range of emotions from the YouTube community. Many viewers didn’t see any issue with the content, stating that various GTA RP streams show similar acts. Others felt it irresponsible of Speed to expose his younger viewers to adult content. On July 22, IShowSpeed posted a story to his Instagram, writing: “I’m banned guys, goodbye.” He also tweeted a screenshot of a message from YouTube showing that the stream had been taken down. This also means Speed received a community guideline strike on his channel. Guess what, y’all? …I am literally unbanned on Twitch! I can go in somebody’s chat right now and say, ‘What’s good?’” “It’s been two years, y’all,” he continued. “It’s been two damn years, and I’m finally unbanned. It took a long damn time. I was sixteen, chat! I’m a grown man. I’m mature. …I’m different now.” Although Speed still hasn’t gone live on his account, fans are keeping an eye out just in case he does decide to start streaming there once again. Already, his Twitch profile has gained hundreds of thousands of followers, despite the fact that he hasn’t even streamed on it since his unban.

Several high-profile streamers have been the unfortunate targets of swatting in the first two weeks of August 2022. On August 7, Twitch star Adin Ross was swatted during a live broadcast, with viewers able to see law enforcement entering his room with guns drawn. The very next day, YouTuber IShowSpeed was also swatted during a live stream. Officers took the broadcaster outside to question him before placing him in handcuffs and ultimately ending the feed. Ross updated Speed’s fans on the situation shortly after the clip of Speed’s swatting went viral, reassuring viewers that he was “doing good” and confirming that the YouTuber had, indeed, been swatted. Several days later, Speed has claimed that Adin Ross had paid his bail to get him out of jail — a whopping $20,000 amount. “‘How much was your bail?’” he read a comment aloud from his chat during another live stream. “It was $20,000. My boy Adin came in clutch. He paid it fully.” “He wired it. Obviously, he wasn’t in town, so he wired it to the confederation of the department I was in. It was really pretty simple. They gave me back all my stuff — my phone, my pants that I was with. A few claim that he might be joking, as Speed was the victim of a swatting and not the perpetrator of the crime. Others claim that Speed was not swatted, but instead prank called the authorities, as Speed had dialed someone on his August 8 live stream named ‘911’ in his contacts. However, the person who answered on the other end of the line has also been said to be a friend of Speed’s, who he’d placed in his contacts under that name. Ross himself has not commented on this particular claim of paying Speed’s bail at the time of writing. As she sat down, she asked speed who it was that kept texting him, prompting him to get up and grab his phone from her. His girlfriend noticed something inside his text message conversation and again asked who it was. Speed told her it was a person named Jordan, but she didn’t believe him. “That is not Jordan. Bro, what are you saying? You’re cheating? What the f*ck is this? You’re sending Jordan d*ck pics?” she explained. The YouTuber continued to tell his girlfriend that he was not cheating and that he didn’t send the mystery person pictures, but she proceeded to show his picture on the screen. When he’s not dodging arson charges, IShowSpeed can be found dodging punches at the FA Cup or giving away Teslas with David Dobrik. His content is characterized by an almost trademarked sense of bedlam that has rocketed him to online stardom. Speed’s main channel has nearly doubled in size since his last dabble into in-door pyrotechnics with a hefty 18.1 million subs to his name. Now, looking to celebrate July 4 with a bang, the popular internet celeb decided to spark the same Pikachu firework that caused so much trouble the first time around last year. To give Speed his due, the video does feature a disclaimer: “Everything in this video was done by trained professionals with medical supervision. Please do not try this at home However, the veracity of this claim is obviously up in the air as, well, we’ve all seen how things worked out last time Speed set off fireworks indoors. Though it is worth mentioning some attempts at safety appear to have been made when compared to the original video posted last fourth of July. However, despite not being surrounded by cardboard and wrapping paper this time, the firework is still set off on a bed with flammable blankets and elevated by a chair so that sparks hit the roof. Speed begins the video by clearing minors out of the room before then setting the suspicious off-brand-looking Pikachu alight. Sparks and smoke soon filled the room setting off alarms and spectators alike. However, videos have been posted to his channel since and the YouTuber is seemingly okay despite the aftermath. His popularity was boosted in June 2021 when his fans began posting clips of his content on TikTok and Twitter, which eventually led to iShowSpeed gaining over a million followers in mere days. Now, Speed has called out a company on stream after fans began reporting on his subreddit that they were getting false copyright claims on the clips they’ve uploaded. iShowSpeed calls out company for “false copyrighting” Posted to his subreddit on August 24, fans of iShowSpeed are claiming that a company by the name of Thumb Media is copyright striking clips uploaded to YouTube by fans. It reads: “Speed a company called Thumb Media is copyright striking all the clip channels on your behalf. They are pretending it is you and making money abusing your image. They are destroying your community. Please contact Youtube and do something about this.” During his stream on August 25, Speed was reacting to posts on his subreddit when he came across the post. After reading it, he asked chat for advice on how to stop it from happening. (Topic starts at 10:50 in the video) On August 27, a number of videos made by Dexerto featuring clips from IShowSpeed’s streams had the copyright claims removed, with Thumb Media releasing the claim. However, the YouTuber is coming under fire from his own fanbase after they accused him of promoting a crypto “scam” during a recent broadcast. On November 16, Speed went live with a hoard of PS5s stacked in the corner of his streaming room for a giveaway. However, fans also noticed that he was promoting the ‘Paradox Metaverse,’ which is an open-world, action-adventure game that users can play to earn a crypto currency called ‘Paradox Coin.’ IShowSpeed criticized for promoting “crypto scam” Commenters instantly called out this promotion in Speed’s chat during the stream — in which he also featured a Cristano Ronaldo lookalike. From socks to pillows to phone cases — everything could be bought with IShowSpeed’s face plastered on the top. “What the f***?” IShowSpeed exclaimed, not hesitating to get his “lawyer” on the phone in order to “sue these people from China.” It’s clear this is just a friend of Speed’s pretending to be a lawyer, but he made sure to get his point across. In preparation, the YouTube star wants help from the “best boxer of all time.” IShowSpeed wants to train with Manny Pacquiao for KSI spar In a November 29 live stream, Speed explained he’ll be getting a bit of training in before he touches gloves with KSI, and he already knows the “best boxer of all time” who can help. “The best boxer of all time follows me bro. I’m about to text him, a matter-of-fact chat, I’m about to text him,” said Speed. “I’m about to text him, right now, because, why not? The best boxer of all time. During a recent broadcast, the youngster was on the verge of reaching the 16 million subscriber milestone and as he watched his counter rise, he celebrated to hard he started bleeding. iShowSpeed starts bleeding after 16M subscriber celebration As the YouTuber watched the counter cross the 16 million mark, he grew quiet, put his hands on his neck and started making odd facial expressions. Moments later, a bit of blood began to pour out of his lip before Speed barked in celebration and let out a triumphant victory cry. “We did it!” he screamed in delight as blood trickled down his mouth in between barks. “We did it! Recently, the popular streamer has been swatted by the police and even contemplated taking a break after harassment from haters. Now, his viewers have even somehow tricked him into failing a school quiz. In his stream on August 25, the young creator opened his online school website, which showed him failing his classes with straight Fs. IShowSpeed then went on to complete his overdue assignment in global economics, where he asked his viewers to help him. Of course, they saw the prime opportunity to troll the streamer by purposely giving him the wrong answers. Clueless as to what was going on, the streamer thanked his viewers before seeing the results, only to show that he didn’t even get a single answer correct. “You mother f**kers, you **** in the chat are so stupid,” he shouted. “Y’all are so dumb! Y’all want me to fail,” he exclaimed. “Bro, chat, y’all want me to fail, the f**k!” Similarly, the same almost happened again for his other assignments, but luckily he scored a bit better. On August 16, popular YouTube streamer IShowSpeed accidentally flashed his fans during a playthrough of Five Nights at Freddy’s: Security Breach. Clips from the incident instantly went viral online, causing Speed to quickly delete the VOD — thus narrowly avoiding a ban from YouTube. Since then, he’s asked fans to stop spreading the clip around social media… but not everyone has honored his wishes. Most notably, his own father began singing a little song about the ordeal during one of his own streams just a week later. Speed wasn’t too happy about this and confronted his dad on a FaceTime call, where his dad apologized. This confrontation led to both unfollowing each other on social media and removing each other’s pictures from their feeds. Following the incident, Speed faced backlash from his fans, who criticized him for “fumbling” the relationship and called him “immature.” In response, Speed addressed the situation in his stream on June 11, clarifying, “Amy and I were never together. More recently he was even slammed as being “racist” after greeting an Asian fan with the Japanese greeting “konnichiwa,” despite the fan insisting that he is Chinese. Now, he’s come under fire once again, with critics accusing him of “animal abuse” following an IRL stream at the Zoo. iShowSpeed accused of “animal abuse” after IRL Zoo stream During his recent December 16 live stream, the popular YouTube star headed to the Zoo. YouTube has not had a major crash of this kind in recent memory, with only small bugs and glitches typically affecting the site’s status. YouTube is on average the 2nd most visited website in the world, and this is the first major crash of the website in years. It comes on the same day that Twitter also had a major malfunction, sending out strange spam notifications to users mobile devices. As the second most visited website in the world, it’s rare for the site to experience big outages, with the last in recent memory back in October 2018. On June 2nd, at approximately 3pm eastern time, Twitter became inundated with users reporting that they were unable to log in, being met with an error screen, or even an entirely blank YouTube homepage. Update, 11:33pm UTC: YouTube appears to be fully functional again on both mobile and desktop platforms. If you are still experiencing an outage, it should be resolved soon. Update, 11:21pm UTC: Users on YouTube on desktop in some regions are reporting that YouTube is functional again. For the first time in years, YouTube experienced a major outage on October 17, which lasted almost 6 hours across various regions and devices. It is extremely rare for the site to crash, and can have massive effects across the web, as it is by far the most popular video sharing website, but it crashed for a second time in as many months on November 18, with visitors met with a blank homepage. Users began noticing outages at around 11pm UTC, with numerous big name YouTubers reporting that they were unable to see their homepage. Popular YouTuber KEEMSTAR was among the first to report an issue, posting a video to Twitter and then tagging in Head of YouTube Susan Wojcicki and Head of YouTube Gaming Ryan ‘Fwiz’ Wyatt. YouTube is on average the 2nd most visited website in the world, and this is only the second major crash in recent memory. It also supports the livings of 100,000’s of creators, who produced videos daily and rely on views and ad revenue. At the time of writing, YouTube has not publicly identified the cause of the downtime.

PewDiePie predicts the future of the platform The current king of YouTube, Felix ‘PewDiePie’ Kjellberg, is in a race against Bollywood label T-Series for the most subscribers on the platform – but this race could be the beginning of what Pewds calls a ‘depressing’ new trend. PewDiePie remarked that YouTube could be heading in a more corporate direction during a reaction video that he posted on November 9, taking note of many YouTube channels with increasingly corporate ties or hired actors. “Logically speaking, it’s going to become more and more corporate,” he stated of the matter. “There’s just so many giant companies trying to keep up with YouTube, and if they want to stay in business, they’re obligated to do something.” He also made mention of previous trends on the website, claiming that early YouTube saw major corporate channels before creators stepped in to take over. “When I started off, there were… more companies big on YouTube, but creators kind of took over,” he continued. “I wonder if the same sort of trend will apply to India now.” Other YouTubers in the ‘YouTubers React’ video that PewDiePie used in his segment stated that more and more of YouTube’s trending videos are being published by major companies, such as Netflix or late night shows. With videos from a man getting stuck in a waterslide to a woman realizing the chairs they’d just bought in fact were stolen goods from McDonalds, you really have no idea what the next viral video will be. Another video that has gone viral in the past was a credit card-shaped ‘charger’ that is apparently able to charge your phone wirelessly within seconds. TikTok user guapo.704 uploaded a video with the caption, “My boss living in 3021,” and introduced Randy Shirley to his viewers. Randy showed the camera that his phone was running low on charge, and then whipped out a futuristic-looking ‘charge card.’ He placed it on top of his phone and the battery percentage began to increase at an unbelievable rate, with the charge card’s indication bar going down simultaneously. Is the TikTok Charge Card real? The insane video baffled its 10 million viewers, but not everyone was entirely convinced it was real. “Lithium-ion batteries cannot charge that fast lest they explode from the excess heat. Also can’t charge over Bluetooth. This is CAPPPP,” one user said. “It’s just a screen recording guys. I hope you know it’s physically impossible for that to happen,” another wrote. On Randy’s own account, people flooded his comments asking where they could get their hands on the cool invention, with the unexpected viral star only saying it’s a “prototype” and “if I get to 10k followers, I’d like to share all the info.” So, unfortunately, it seems that for the time being, people won’t be able to get their hands on the nifty-looking invention, as it may not actually exist. MrBeast gives Elon Musk advice to beat TikTok with Vine At the time of writing, Elon Musk’s Twitter poll asking if he should bring back Vine has received over four-million votes — with 69.4% of them calling for its return YouTuber Jimmy ‘MrBeast’ Donaldson was quick to respond to the idea of bringing Vine back. He said: “If you did that and actually competed with tik tok that’d be hilarious.” After Elon asked the YouTuber what he could do to make it better than TikTok, MrBeast gave the newfound social media owner some advice. “No one is original anymore, whatever you do will be on every other platform the next month unless it has a deep moat,” he said. “YouTube has shorts, Insta has reels, Reddit, Snapchat, Facebook, etc. all copied TT. Twitter Engineers reportedly working on Vine code In a report from Axios on October 31, Elon Musk has reportedly instructed Twitter Engineers to begin work on a Vine reboot. Multiple sources allegedly told the publication that the platform could come back to life by the end of 2022, which is only two months away. The source code, which hasn’t been changed or updated since Vine was shut down in 2016, apparently “needs a lot of work,” according to Axios’ sources. Twitter/X employee posts link to Logan Paul’s page On April 17, 2024, a Twitter/X employee by the name of Christopher Stanley made a cryptic post on the platform that linked to Logan Paul’s archived Vine page. He posted a shifty eyes emoji beside the link, making people wonder if the platform is set to return sooner rather than later. When will Vine relaunch? At the time of writing, it’s unknown when — or if — Vine will be brought back to life by the Tesla co-founder. The outage began at around 2 AM PST / 10 AM GMT, with users’ timelines unable to load new content, or see replies to posts. A map from Downdetector shows a global visual of reported outages, with users across the world being affected by the sudden error. As the United States was mostly asleep, many of the reports came from Europe or Asia, with users in the UK and Australia all reporting issues with the platform. Although Twitter outages sometimes coincide with other web services failing, often due to a CDN (content delivery network) crashing at once, this time Twitter seemed to be on its own, with most other popular websites still working as normal. As of 2:40 AM PST, Twitter’s status page reports that all systems are operational – but this doesn’t reflect many users’ experience. Twitter hasn’t yet provided any updates on what caused the crash, or if the issue has been fully resolved. This suggests that using an incognito tab (where you are not logged in) should work, as well as Twitch on mobile devices via the app. Some streamers shared on social media that they were canceling streams until the issue is resolved. Users already on Twitch should be able to continue watching streams, provided they don’t refresh the page or try to switch to another channel. The outage appeared to start at around 1pm ET / 6pm BST, just as many were tuning in to see the Gamescom livestreams from Cologne, Germany. This time around, the name of the game is the ‘Silhouette Challenge.’ In this trend, participants start out wearing normal or baggy clothing, then switch up to pose either nude or wearing lingerie in front of a dim, backlit background to show off their curves in a way that doesn’t reveal the full picture. More specifically, the trend utilizes Snapchat’s “vin rouge” filter to produce a red light effect, giving the entire video a saucy aesthetic — a filter that some techies have managed to get past. While the TikToker’s body will simply appear as a dark shadow, it seems that some users have found a way to bypass this effect using video editing software to turn up the light and sneak a peek at things that were meant to be private. One user claimed “TikTok just randomly posted one of my drafts, 100k people saw it, I’m gonna cry,” with other videos claiming similar incidents happened to them garnering tens of thousands of likes and views. It’s not clear whether these reports are legitimate, but regardless, the potential of TikTok leaking drafts is understandably concerning for many users. How to stop your TikTok drafts being leaked The simple solution to stopping your TikTok drafts from being leaked is to delete them. By not having them on the app at all, you don’t have to worry about any of them being posted without your knowledge. If you’re not happy for your drafts to be seen, you should delete them altogether but, if you do want to keep them, you can simply save them to your device so you don’t lose them entirely. If you find your drafts have been leaked, the best option would be to try and delete the video, but if for some reason you’re not able to, it’s worth contacting TikTok customer support to try and get the issue resolved. As stated above, there isn’t extensive evidence that the application is leaking drafts, but it’s better to be safe than sorry.

To this point, a ban hasn’t been sanctioned, but some states have started cracking down on it in their own ways. The newest of which is Maryland, with Governor Larry Hogan issuing a ban on the app. However, it’s not going to affect every resident in the mid-Atlantic state. Has Maryland banned TikTok? That’s right, on December 6, Governor Hogan issued a clampdown on TikTok and a number of other digital products that have ties to China and Russia. “Today, the State of Maryland is issuing an emergency cybersecurity directive to prohibit the use of certain Chinese and Russian-influenced products and platforms in state government—including TikTok,” he said. Hogan’s announcement claims that they “present an unacceptable level of cybersecurity risk to the state,” and as such, government employees are prohibited from using them on government devices. However, that doesn’t apply to everyone. If you live in Maryland, you can still use TikTok on your phone or computer. Clampdowns like this typically cause rumors and end dates to spread across the app like wildfire, but they should be ignored. That isn’t the case here at all and you’re only prohibited from using it if you work for the state government. So, don’t worry about your For You Page going missing if that doesn’t apply.

While some have said they are now back online and that the app is working fine again, others are continuing to experience issues intermittently. Although the issues appear to lie with TikTok due to the widespread nature of the outages, if you want to make sure the particular problems you are having with the app aren’t on your end, ensure that your TikTok app and device are updated to the latest versions, and that you are properly connected to the internet. Former manager Nick Crompton tells all in Shane Dawson docuseries YouTuber Shane Dawson took a deep dive into the dynamics of Jake Paul’s social media group ‘Team 10’ in the newest episode of his docuseries, ‘The Mind of Jake Paul.’ In the fifty-minute video, Dawson visited the home/office of former Team 10 COO Nick Crompton, who only agreed to an in-depth interview due to Jake’s express permission. The two discussed the legitimacy of Team 10 in terms of the group’s prank videos and abuse allegations. Typically, the group wears different bright and colorful costumes to pay homage to the original. On February 24, the streamer who has millions of followers across all his socials, started off the broadcast with a throwback to the classic trend. A large group of people were seen standing still behind the Cenat, as he walked into the frame and played the iconic “Harlem Shake” song by Baauer. As soon as it dropped, just like in 2013, everyone in the room suddenly stopped being statues and broke out into wild dance moves and loud shouting, as chaos ensued. However, it seems that, much like the Hype House before it, Sway House could be coming to an end soon, after some of its key members removed the group’s name from their bios. Bryce Hall, Blake Gray, Josh Richards, Noah Beck and even Quinton Greggs all removed Sway House from their Instagram profiles — but that’s not the only clue that’s making fans worried. A cryptic tweet from Blake Gray appears to hint that the collective could be closing its doors, with the star writing: “All good things must come to an end at some point.” Even Sway House’s manager, Michael Gruen, has removed Sway House from his profile, and has apparently dialed down his list of clients to Josh Richards, Bryce Hall and Griffin Johnson, excluding the other members of the group. Despite these fears, perhaps not all is lost, as Gray also Tweeted out #sway4lyfe until the end” — although some fans likewise speculate that this could be a fond goodbye to the Sway Boys’ collaborative project. However, this time he just wanted to terrorize other players and throw their loot overboard without them knowing he was even there. The results of this experiment, though, were just hilarious. After pointing out that many players hide their treasures inside the captain’s quarters of the ship – mostly to the left, near the bed – Summit positioned himself on the right side of the room and laid down in the corner. He claimed to have found a hiding spot that was right in plain sight, where others wouldn’t even think to look. Moments later, a member of the crew came storming into the room to have a look around. “Watch this guy walk right by me, dude” Summit told his viewers on stream. “He’s got an eye patch on and… Oh shit!” Check out what happened next in the clip below. The plan massively backfired this time. Once he had realized that he’d been spotted, Summit leapt up from the corner and took a shot at the pirate before being chased all over the Galleon. Having found some cover in the lower deck, he decided to hide again, bide some time and took a moment to smile at the camera. It was a close call. Then, for the next twenty minutes, Summit decided to play around with the crew by hiding in different spots and popping out every so often. They knew they had an intruder on board, just didn’t know where! The streamer eventually peaked out from his spot to toss their loot overboard, but was caught in the act to bring this hilarious play to an end. Maybe next time.

However, one of the biggest TikTok groups to make a name for itself was the Hype House, and shortly after that, the Sway House. Hype House and Sway House were both big organizations with a fair amount of clout behind them. While Hype House produced such talent as Addison Rae, Chase Hudson and Charli D’Amelio, Sway House gave us the likes of Bryce Hall, Noah Beck and Josh Richards. View this post on Instagram These two houses notably feuded with each other (in true Montague and Capulet fashion) during the fabled breakup between Charli and Chase in 2020, although co-founders Bryce and Thomas seemed to make up once their anger had subsided. While the Hype House has lost its biggest talent and become a shell of its former self, it seems that the Sway House has all but gone off the radar — and fans have been wondering what’s up with the group for some time now. They finally got an update on August 12, when Hall cryptically tweeted, “I left Sway.” Just a day later, it seems like a few of Sway House’s members have unfollowed each other on Instagram, with Blake Gray unfollowing Bryce Hall, and Josh Richards unfollowing Jaden Hossler — although this could be due to the love quadrant between himself, Nessa Barrett, Hossler, and Mads Lewis. It’s important to note, though, that the Sway Instagram page has been posting as recently as August 4, meaning that the group has been active into the summer. Geordie expressed some criticism on this idea, as well as his docuseries as a whole thus far, stating that Dawson was an ‘overreactor,’ and insinuated that Dawson was milking the project for views. He likewise felt that Dawson was slandering peoples’ images, and held that Jake Paul could be just “a self-absorbed prick who got famous very young,” rather than a full-blown psychopath. Users report worldwide website crash on July 11 Popular social, news, and entertainment website Reddit is reportedly suffering issues, with users worldwide unable to access the site on Thursday, July 11. The popular website is home to thousands of communities, allowing users to discuss their favorite pastimes or current events with people who share the same interests from around the world. While the website refers to itself as the front page of the internet, it appears it is currently dealing with some sort of issue, as reports from across the globe suggest that people are unable to access the site. According to DownDetector, Reddit first started having issues at 3:00 AM EST, but have continued to get worse as the day has gone on, with thousands of complaints from users pouring in as they struggle to access the site. Users who are trying to access the site are being met with an error code, which claims that the site’s “CDN is unable to reach their servers,” while others claim they are being met with a “503 Error Code” when they attempt to sign in. The issues appear to be taking place worldwide, but most reports are coming from the east coast of the United States and the United Kingdom, with a handful of complaints coming from eastern Europe, Malaysia and Australia. Reddit themselves have yet to address the issues with the site, with the company remaining silent on social media as to when they can expect the problems to end. The company does have a status website, however it appears that they have yet to update this, as it claims that all of Reddit’s systems are functional, although this is clearly not the case. So, no, he’s not involved. However, Kick did use that to further ramp up speculation around him helping them. After he responded to yet another one of their tweet teasing new signings, the platform quote tweeted it, saying: “1 like and we’ll make MrBeast CEO of Kick.” Though, he hasn’t interacted back with that at the time of writing. On March 15, a post went viral on twitter claiming that Donaldson had passed away. The tweet included a black and white photo of the YouTube star with the caption, “I cant believe MrBeast died… gone too soon man… you’ll never be forgotten you legend.” At the time of writing, the post has racked up over 10 million views and 122k likes, but it looks like most commenters didn’t believe the wild claim. In fact, many of the replies are memes mocking the post, or condemning the poster for spreading false rumors about someone’s death. Amid the speculation, Ludwig even responded to one of the tweets about the verified account, commenting: “Hunter, it’s never too late to build something good and genuine.” Ludwig would go on to confirm that he is indeed not moving to Kick, and the account was just made so he could type in xQc’s chat. “Today’s bait tweet resulted in me waking up to DMs from my boss all because I just wanted to use my name when I type in my Juicer’s chat, so that’s why I fired off a reply,” he explained in the tweet.
