Is Jake Paul about to announce boxing match with AnEsonGib for 2020? It’s no secret that YouTuber Jake Paul has been gunning for another boxing match in wake of his 2018 bout with rival “Deji”. His chance may finally be at hand, according cryptic videos on his Instagram stories. While YouTube stars Logan Paul and KSI were gearing up for their famed rematch on November 9, Jake Paul openly petitioned boxing promoter Eddie Hearn for a chance on the card, citing his new status as a pro boxer as the reason for his inclusion on the undercard. However, Hearn himself seemed a bit nonplussed by the issue, instead offering a separate fight at a later date with another YouTuber. This is likely a huge concession for Jake, who’d hoped to fight someone with “clout” (like Soulja Boy or FaZe Banks, for instance). 💻 Eddie Hearn has revealed that he is still working to make Jake Paul vs AnEsonGib, though he’s seemingly not convinced by Gib’s ‘Seven-Figure Gibber’ nickname. He added that KSI vs Jake Paul could happen, but only if Jake is able to beat Gib first. — Michael Benson (@MichaelBensonn) December 3, 2019 A month after big brother Logan Paul’s loss to KSI by split-decision, it seems that Jake’s time may finally have come, according to a statement made on his Instagram story in mid-December. According to Jake, he has a “big announcement” on the horizon — and he’s not the only YouTuber with such a reveal, either. Social media star AnEsonGib made a similar statement on his own Instagram story at the same time, with many fans speculating that the two are gearing up for a boxing match, after both Logan Paul, KSI, and Hearn toyed previously toyed with the idea. Celebrity news outlet TheBreadBatch has also created two posts with a potential date for the bout, although their sources for such information remain unclear at the time of writing. https://www.instagram.com/p/B6JrAugAAvO/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link With a projected date of January 30, 2020, Jake Paul could be set for his own boxing match in the near future — which he already appears to be training for, as he’s completed a training camp with former seven-time boxing champ “Sugar Shane Mosley.” https://www.instagram.com/p/B5bXJhMFDIT/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link Considering his previous success against Deji (winning by knockout), it’s safe to say that he may be the favorite to take this potential bout, but speculation is still rife, as he has yet to officially confirm what could be another major step for YouTubers and professional fighting.

Is Jake Paul boxing Tommy Fury? Everything we know so far – Dexerto
Is Jake Paul boxing Tommy Fury? Everything we know so far Amanda Westcott, Showtime PPV / Pexels.com: KoolShootersA fight between YouTube star Jake Paul and Tommy Fury has officially been announced after an extended period of haggling. Here’s everything we know so far about this long-awaited boxing match. Jake Paul is making waves in the boxing world after rising to fame as a YouTube superstar. Following his very first amateur match in 2018, Paul went on to accrue a 4-0 professional boxing record, but his most anticipated fight is still on the horizon. After defeating fellow YouTuber AnEsonGib, former NBA star Nate Robinson, former Olympic mixed martial artist Ben Askren, and five-time UFC champ Tyron Woodley, Paul now has his sights set on a boxer of his own caliber. Upon his victory over Woodley, Paul immediately set out looking for potential opponents… one of them being Love Island star and pro boxer Tommy Fury. This came as quite a surprise to fans, as Paul had previously rejected an offer from Fury, claiming that he had “some ladders to climb to get on my level.” https://twitter.com/Dexerto/status/1432285178097979394?ref_src=twsrctfwtwcamptweetembedtwterm1432285178097979394twgrtwcons1_&ref_url=httpswww.dexerto.comentertainmenttommy-fury-laughs-off-jake-pauls-1m-fight-offer-1658860 Tommy Fury rejects Jake Paul fight offers Paul then offered Fury $1 million to face him in the ring, but his proposed opponent laughed off the amount, notably claiming that it was “not even worth getting out of bed for.” Despite their disagreements, a fight is finally on for the two stars, and both a date and location have reportedly been set. Tommy “Fury” has denied 2 abundant offers from my team. Timmy “Fury”…. this is your last offer… $1 million, 8 rounds. 4x more than you have ever made. On Octber 29, Jake Paul officially revealed that he will be facing off against Fury on Saturday, December 18 in Tampa Bay, Florida. Pucker up Timmy, it’s time to kiss ur last name and ur family’s boxing legacy goodbye. DEC 18th Im changing this wankers name to Tommy Fumbles and celebrating with Tom Brady. The fight will have a catchweight of 192 lbs. This announcement follows previous reports that claimed Jake Paul vs Tommy Fury would purportedly be taking place on December 18, 2021, in Miami, Florida. However, this information was later debunked by a promotional organization founded by Jake Paul and BAVAFA Sports in an Instagram comment, which claimed that “nothing is confirmed” until Paul announces it. https://twitter.com/TheBreadBatch/status/1451259313620668426 Where to watch Jake Paul vs Tommy Fury According to the official fight poster, the bout can be watched via SHOWTIME PPV. Ticket sales are set to go live on November 10. This potential bout is looking to be a challenging one for Paul, as this will be the first time he’s facing off against a true-blue boxer instead of retired sports stars, YouTubers, and inactive MMA pros. There’s no word yet on the fight purse, either — so exactly how much money is on the line for these boxers remains to be seen. One thing is certain, though; this will be a fight that fans won’t want to miss.

Is Instagram adding profile views in 2024? – Dexerto
Is Instagram adding profile views in 2024? Unsplash: Brett JordanA rumor has been circulating on social media about a potential new profile views feature on Instagram. So, is Instagram planning to add profile views in 2024? In late August 2024, a rumor began circulating on social media platforms like Twitter (now X) and TikTok, claiming that Instagram would soon introduce a new feature allowing users to see who views their profiles. This rumor quickly gained traction, leading to a mix of excitement and panic among users. The speculation centered on whether the Meta-owned app was rolling out a “profile views” function, much like what TikTok offers. Is Instagram adding a profile views feature? As of 2024, Instagram is not adding a profile views feature. The platform has made no announcements suggesting the introduction of a feature that allows users to track who views their profiles, and currently, there are no plans or tests for this functionality. Instagram has always prioritized user privacy, especially when it comes to profile views. It allows users to share content and stories, but it keeps profile visitors anonymous, whether they are followers or not. Despite some users’ curiosity about who might be checking out their profiles, the app has opted to keep that information private. While features change over time, there’s no indication that Instagram is moving in this direction anytime soon. For now, profile visitors remain hidden, and only story views are available for viewing. Should Instagram change its policies in the future, any major feature rollout would likely be accompanied by an official announcement. But as of now, you’re safe from having your profile visits exposed. If you want to know more about how to use Instagram, you can check out our other guides, including how to re-share a post to your Story on Instagram and how to make money on Instagram.

Is Instagram shutting down in 2023? – Dexerto
Is Instagram shutting down in 2023? UnsplashUsers on social media have been left wondering if Instagram will shut down this year, specifically on July 28. There have been lots of rumors circulating, largely due to Meta’s annual report – Instagram’s owner. The Meta report addresses issues facing the photo-sharing app’s clause for transferring personal data in and out of Europe. Back in May, the parent company, Meta, had given a response after being fined over $1.3 billion for breaching European privacy regulations. Will Instagram be shutting down? No, Instagram is not shutting down in 2023. Users of both Instagram and Facebook can rest assured that Meta has no plans to shut down the company forever. Despite this, some TikTok posts have claimed that Instagram will likely shut down on July 28, 2023. The rumors were also sparked by Twitter posts, similarly claiming that the photo-sharing app will close for good. This came about after some news articles suggested Meta was “considering” shutting Instagram down in Europe. As for the fine of $1.3 billion, Mark Zuckerberg’s company issued a statement confirming their plan to appeal. Fans think Instagram is shutting down Several users believed that the app would be shutting down after coming across these posts. Some users asked, “Where did ya see this? Everyone’s saying Instagram is closing for good? Nah, tell me it isn’t true.” Meanwhile, another user said that it is time to find an alternative. Others asked Instagram itself by tagging the app and asking, “hey Insta! Heard a rumor going around about you guys shutting down and deleting accounts on July 28. Mind if you confirm whether or not this is true?” But, for now, there is no evidence that Instagram is going anywhere.

Is HAchubby joining OfflineTV? Fan speculation grows as she visits USA – Dexerto
Is HAchubby joining OfflineTV? Fan speculation grows as she visits USA Twitch: PokimaneDuring HAchubby’s visit to the United States in January, fans speculated whether the popular Korean Twitch streamer could be joining OfflineTV after visiting their house for a collaboration broadcast with Imane ‘Pokimane’ Anys. HAchubby was one of the breakout stars of Twitch in 2019, as the Korean streamer connected with viewers on her journey to learn English with her chat through meme culture. However, after her second visit to the United States, speculation grew as to whether the personality could eventually be joining OfflineTV after she posted a photo wearing their merchandise. Could HAchubby join OfflineTV? The streamer visited the United States for the second time on January 16th, and documented her trip meeting up with American-based streamers such as AngelsKimi, MayaHiga, and TheSushiDragon. However, the Twitch personality joined Pokimane for a stream on January 21 where the two discussed a variety of topics, such as her journey to learn English. “If you move to Los Angeles, you would learn English in six months. Done!” she told the Korean. The following day on January 22, HAchubby joined the rest of the OfflineTV crew, which included LilyPichu, Fedmyster, Pokimane, and Michael Reeves, for a group IRL broadcast at Universal Studios in California. While doing collaboration streams is not proof of her joining, HAchubby has showed interest in moving to America in the past, and when newest member YouTuber Michael Reeves joined the streaming group, he had hung out with them on numerous occasions before it became official. Fan speculation was fueled further when the Korean streamer posted a photo on her Instagram on January 24, wearing an OfflineTV hoodie, which she had sported during their Universal broadcast. After posting the photo, fans wondered if she could be the latest member to join OfflineTV, such as user ‘oceanic_pears’ who jokingly cracked “Lmao Hachu new offline.tv member confirmed?” – a sentiment that was seen in the chat during the group’s broadcast. Only time will tell if HAchubby will ever move to the States to stream or whether she will land at the OfflineTV house, but fans can’t help but think of the possibility after her recent vacation. At the time of this article, the Korean personality has amassed over 162k followers, which is all the more impressive considering she gained almost all of her viewers in just under a year since gaining popularity in 2019.

Is Hasbulla fighting Abdu Rozik in the UFC? Dana White hints at possible fight date – Dexerto
Is Hasbulla fighting Abdu Rozik in the UFC? Dana White hints at possible fight date Instagram: tamaaevUFC President Dana White has hinted at a possible date for the highly anticipated bout between Internet star Hasbullah Magomedov and his rival Abdu Rozik. Known as the ‘Mini Khabib’, 19-year-old Hasbulla Magomedov garnered the attention of millions in 2020 due to his child-like appearance and feisty personality. And as the internet usually does, they began hyping up a potential fight between him and Abdu Rozik – another viral star who suffers from the same condition as Magomedov. While Hasbulla turned down 7 million Russian Rubles to face off against Abdu in 2021, he revealed in an interview with Barstool Sports earlier this year that he sees no other solution than to “smack” Rozik next time he sees him to “shut him up.” As it turns out, we could see the two of them stepping in the ring sooner than imagined after UFC President Dana White has hinted at a possible fight date. During a recent episode of Barstool Sports’ Spinnin Backfist podcast on June 7, Dana White sat down for a talk ahead of UFC 275 this weekend in Singapore. When discussing fights, the UFC President was asked about a potential bout between Hasbulla and Rozik. “I assume you’ve got all the fights in front of you, and now we do have to ask about the biggest fight in MMA. Is it in front of you, a date for Hasbulla vs Abdu Rozik, or is that fight not in the UFC’s Radar right now,” asked Jack McGuire. “You’re asking if that’s on the radar yet,” Dana replied while chuckling. “Yeah, August 20.” We finally have a date for Hasbulla’s UFC debut per @danawhite on the @SpinninBackfist show. August 20th against Abdu Rozik. Get training @Hasbulla_NFT pic.twitter.com/vQAnkRKZXx — Barstool Sports (@barstoolsports) June 7, 2022 While it’s unclear if White was being serious, there’s a clear demand for the fight to happen, as the internet has proved over time with their demands to see it happen. However, with Dana and Hasbulla previously discussing fight terms, it could be genuine.

Is Fouseytube a master manipulator? Adam Saleh comes forward with allegations of abusive behavior – Dexerto
Is Fouseytube a master manipulator? Adam Saleh comes forward with allegations of abusive behavior YouTuber Adam Saleh has released the second part of his vlog series covering Yousef ‘Fouseytube’ Erakat, who he feels has mistreated him and others after their considerable support. While Saleh covered his own issues with Fousey in the series’ first episode, his second video takes a look into Fousey’s treatment of other individuals. One of Fouseytube’s employees, a YouTuber and streamer named Ahmed “Abreezy,” was cited by Saleh as having never been paid, and was allegedly made to quit his job to manage Fousey’s social media. In addition, Saleh claimed that Fousey was borderline abusive to Ahmed, and would scream at him if one negative comment out of thousands was left up on his videos. However, these claims do not line up with those that Ahmed posted to his own YouTube channel, wherein he cited Fousey’s antics as “passion” and claimed that he originally did not want to accept payment from Fousey for his work. Saleh facetimed Ahmed twice during the vlog, and felt that he was “too scared” to say anything negative toward Fousey due to the fact that he was vlogging their conversation. Saleh went on to compare Fousey’s treatment of those around him to that of a cult leader, much in the style of Shane Dawson’s current docuseries over Jake Paul. These claims were backed up by two of Saleh’s friends, who added their own two cents to the narrative during the vlog in an Uber ride. Part three of Saleh’s series will release on Monday, October 8, and will likely take a further look at Fousey’s impression on his friends and workers.

Is Griffin Johnson dating Kelly Osbourne? Paparazzi video sparks rumors – Dexerto
Is Griffin Johnson dating Kelly Osbourne? Paparazzi video sparks rumors Instagram: Griffin Johnson/ Instagram: Kelly OsbourneIs Griffin Johnson dating Kelly Osbourne? The internet thinks so after the two were filmed coming back from a dinner out. [jwplayer ZXB9LNVP] Griffin Johnson is a popular TikToker with 9.2m followers and a member of the Sway House. He and Dixie D’Amelio dated over the summer but broke up after he was allegedly caught cheating on her. He even made a diss-track after the news came out that Dixie was now dating Noah Beck. 21-year-old Griffin has retained his place in the spotlight and has allegedly made up with Noah Beck. But, perhaps this is because he has a new woman to pursue. On Wednesday night, celebrity and influencer photographer Kevin Wong posted a video where the pair were spotted out together at Craig’s in Los Angeles and proceeded to both get into the same car to leave. Kelly Osbourne, at 35, is fifteen years older than Griffin and is used to the spotlight, having spent most of her life in front of cameras for her family’s reality television show The Osbournes. Tana Mongeau even weighed in on the situation, tweeting a screenshot of the video posted by Kevin Wong saying, “What the f*** is going on someone please this one really threw me through a loop.” what the fuck is going on someone please this one rly threw me thru a loop pic.twitter.com/uaj6mV8XhA — Tana Mongeau (@tanamongeau) October 15, 2020 This isn’t the first time a TikTok star has started hanging out with an older, mainstream celebrity. 20-year-old Addison Rae and A-list celeb Kourtney Kardashian raised eyebrows in September due to the unlikely friendship they struck up during quarantine, causing some fans to express their concern on social media. Fans have speculated that Griffin’s dinner with Kelly could be a casual business meeting, for a new project or potentially as a guest on Griffin’s new podcast Young and Hung with Bob Menery.

Is Elon Musks Twitter account suspended? Viral screenshot sparks rumors – Dexerto
Is Elon Musks Twitter account suspended? Viral screenshot sparks rumors Wikimedia/TwitterA screenshot allegedly showing Elon Musk’s Twitter account as suspended has made its way around Twitter recently, but is it real? Here’s everything we know. After months of deliberation between Elon Musk and Twitter, Musk finally became the sole owner of the popular platform on October 27, 2022. He immediately began making changes, including sharing his idea to pay for verified status, potentially bringing back Vine, and removing inactive accounts. On November 4, a screenshot began going viral on Twitter that allegedly showed the CEO’s account as suspended, but many wonder whether or not it’s real. Is Elon Musk’s Twitter account suspended? At the time of writing, Elon Musk’s Twitter account is NOT suspended. But why would anyone think that in the first place? Because, well, an account that appears to be Elon Musk actually is suspended. On November 4, A Twitter user shared a screenshot showing @elonmusk with the infamous words “Account suspended” just below it. He said: “Oh wow! Looks like before being laid off a Twitter employee may have suspended eIonmusk’s account.” However, it was quickly noted that Elon’s account was still showing up perfectly fine, causing people to wonder what exactly was going on. Luckily, someone noticed the major difference between the accounts. The “Chief Twit’ account name is properly spelled e-l-o-n-m-u-s-k, while the account showing as suspended is spelled e-capital i-o-n-m-u-s-k. Thanks to the way the ‘i’ looks, it’s easy to replace a lowercase l when creating an account and appear to have the same name and effectively impersonating them in the process.

Is encasing loved ones in acrylic resin the newest terrifying taxidermy alternative? – Dexerto
Is encasing loved ones in acrylic resin the newest terrifying taxidermy alternative? Twitter: kellyportEncasing loved ones in acrylic resin appears to be the newest proposed taxidermy alternative, leaving Twitter users both terrified and amused. Taxidermy has long been used to preserve deceased animals, whether for study, display, or to keep a beloved pet close. But what about encasing lost loved ones in acrylic resin instead? Twitter user Kelly Port has suggested just this, sharing a haunting photo of a resin-encased dog displayed on a family’s table. As an American visual effects artist, it is safe to assume Port hasn’t actually been popping the deceased in resin. But this didn’t stop Twitter from reacting accordingly. “This made me gag and laugh at the same time,” one user replied. “After they’re dead or…?” another questioned, rightfully concerned. Port went on to further embellish the idea with a second resin encasing, this time featuring ‘grandma’. Despite the bizarreness of Port’s taxidermy alternative, it seems the idea isn’t too far-fetched. In fact, in 1903 Russian inventor Joseph Karwowski designed a solid glass “coffin” for just this purpose. Addressing the United States Patent Office, Karwowski submitted an application complete with diagrams; showing the option to preserve either an entire body or just the deceased’s head. Twitter account ‘wtffiles’ shared the patent, hilariously captioning the Tweet with “Honestly, I just don’t have that type of storage space in my house”. Something tells us this “Father’s Day gift” idea isn’t about to hit off any time soon, despite Port’s insistence that pets in acrylic resin are sure to make for a great present. Until society is ready for Port’s ingenuity, we recommend a heartfelt letter or a nice watch instead. For all the latest entertainment news, be sure to check out our page here.

Is Dr Disrespect joining Kick? Banned Twitch streamer fuels rumors of moving to rival from YouTube – Dexerto
Is Dr Disrespect joining Kick? Banned Twitch streamer fuels rumors of moving to rival from YouTube YouTube: Dr DisrespectSpeculation has started spreading that Dr Disrespect, who was banned from Twitch in mysterious circumstances and moved to YouTube, could be moving to join Kick. Dr Disrespect moved to YouTube after his exit from Twitch, but unlike many of his contemporaries, he wasn’t lured away by a big contract. Twitch had inexplicably banned the Doc, and even years on, the exact reason for his ban is shrouded in mystery. He has remained on YouTube ever since, although his relationship with the platform hasn’t been totally smooth either, having called them out on numerous occasions, usually for what he believes is a lack of support. Couple this with Kick’s new-found popularity, and confirmation they have signed a “superstar,” there is now speculation that said superstar is Dr Disrespect. Dr Disrespect moving to Kick? Speculation first started on March 27, when Adin Ross, who has been a very vocal advocate for Kick, said another “superstar” was joining. It was assumed that it was someone from Twitch, as he added “rest in piss Twitch,” – but what if it wasn’t a Twitch streamer at all? On his stream the same day, Dr Disrespect said that a “big announcement” – that he was “building a brand-new arena.” “It’s big. It’s big-time. We’re building it out. I just got the schematics in. I think we’re going to be moving forward.” Topic starts at 16:40 “We’re going bigger. More state-of-the-art, more futuristic,” the Doc continued. “But we’ve had a lot of good memories right here.” Clearly, he was trying not to give too much away, but Dr Disrespect’s ‘arena’ refers to his streaming domain, and has had a number of iterations over the years. However, xQc was announced as Kick’s newest star in June, and so perhaps this was what Adin was referring to after all. Dr Disrespect names his price to join Kick After this xQc deal, speculation ramped up again. Other streamers have also signed deals, such as Destiny, a fellow YouTube streamer just like Doc. On June 22, Dr Disresepect named his price to move to Kick, simply stating “50 million is my number.” xQc’s deal was worth $70 million, although achievable incentives are believed to take that figure up to as much as $100 million. That means Doc is making himself a considerably cheaper option for Kick, who appear to be handing out a lot of cash to encourage the biggest names to join them. Kick CEO confirms discussions with Dr Disrespect After this public message from Doc, Kick’s CEO Eddie Craven spoke candidly about discussions going on behind the scene with the streamer’s team. “Dr Disrespect I’ve personally been a fan of for a long time, just as I’ve been a massive fan of a lot of streamers,” he said. “Having the chance to work alongside these guys is so f**king cool. And Doc is one of them. “Doc is someone that we would love to work with. We are talking with his team. We’re talking with everyone! Well, not everyone, but most people have open communication lines with us. We want to work with everyone. We want to make things happen, we want to bring people over.” For now, there is nothing concrete to suggest Dr Disrespect is leaving YouTube, but clearly, it’s certainly a possibility both he and Kick are considering. Whether YouTube fights to keep his services, remains to be seen.

Is Drake set to collaborate with Nadeshot and 100 Thieves? – Dexerto
Is Drake set to collaborate with Nadeshot and 100 Thieves? Drake has shown some interest in gaming in the past year – you may recall his livestream with Ninja – but could the rapper be about to dive deeper into the world of gaming and esports, perhaps linked to 100 Thieves? 100 Thieves owner Matt “Nadeshot” Haag will have wake up to some exciting news on Tuesday, September 18, when he discovers rap superstar Drake has followed him and his esports organization on Instagram. The ‘In My Feelings’ rapper has a very exclusive list of people on it, and so could be indicative of something in the works. Of course, it could mean nothing at all – maybe Drake is just a fan of Nadeshot and his organization/clothing brand. 800The account Drake followed is in fact dedicated to 100 Thieves’ clothing line, with a separate Instagram account used for the esports side of things. Drake also has his own line of clothing called ‘OVO’ (October’s Very Own), and so perhaps the two brands could be eyeing up a collaboration. Nadeshot has proclaimed in the past that Drake is one of his top five favorite musical artists, and even suggested that “Drake loves esports”, after his stream with Ninja. Ninja will be featured on cover of ESPN The Magazine Since then, Drake was hard at work releasing his most recent album, Scorpion, but with that out of the way, he could be looking into other ventures, and his clothing line will certainly be one. He has already witness the size and passion of the gaming community through his stream with Ninja, as has record label Universal Music Canada, whom Drake is signed to, as they recently joined in partnership with esports organization Luminosity. Another possibility could be linked to the rumors that the Call of Duty World League, which 100 Thieves will compete in next season, are looking to the entertainment industry for investors in a franchised league. Drake could be one such entertainer that Activision are hoping to get involved, if those rumors are to be believed.

Is Dixie D’Amelio performing at the Grammys? Twitter reignites wild nominee rumor – Dexerto
Is Dixie D’Amelio performing at the Grammys? Twitter reignites wild nominee rumor Instagram: Dixie D’AmelioTwitter has reignited the wild rumors that Dixie D’Amelio could be performing at the Grammys, and might even win an award. However, that isn’t the case, and here’s why. [jwplayer ZXB9LNVP] A few of the biggest social media stars will, ultimately, crossover into the mainstream and appear on TV, get roles in movies, and some will even go into music. With the rise of TikTok, there have been a few creators who’ve done all three – with the biggest of which being the D’Amelio’s, Charli, and Dixie. The former appeared in a Super Bowl commercial while Dixie has dropped a few songs, and even had features from One Direction’s Liam Payne. Now, with awards season on the horizon, Twitter has reignited a rumor about her potentially being up for a Grammy and even performing at the annual show. However, that’s not likely to be the case. Will Dixie D’Amelio sing at the Grammys? Back in late December, Dixie responded to a wild set of rumors that she, alongside controversial rapper 6ix9ine, would be opening the Grammys with a performance of one of her songs. Read More: Sykkuno announces streaming return – “LMAOOO STOP,” she tweeted, on her now-deleted account. “I’m being set up at this point oh my god,” Dixie added in a follow-up post, before joking that a few fans had been a bit too gullible in eating up the rumor. Ultimately, to perform at the show, you have to be nominated and Dixie hasn’t made the cut. So, despite Twitter bring the rumor back up, we’ll see probably see someone like Dua Lipa, or Coldplay, or even Beyonce strut their stuff instead. If we compare then Olivia Rodrigo definately deserves the performance at grammys more than Dixie D’amelio sorry no hate — bea⁷ (@meowkvs) January 12, 2021 Let dixie d’amelio go to the grammys with four fucking songs that aren’t good at all in my opinion. Yeah right, but THE WEEKND has REALLY GOOD songs, and most of them are known all over the world and he’s not nominated, what the FUCKING hell its going here? — nai || no se (@idkkriggs) January 9, 2021 What a world we are living in that Dixie d’amelio might be performing at the Grammys but Louis Tomlinson isn’t.. — addy 💛 (@mybdayisthe28) December 24, 2020 Is Dixie D’Amelio nominated for a Grammy? As above, no, Dixie has not been nominated for a Grammy for either of her songs that would be eligible – One Whole Day or Naughty List. Even though it’s gotten some incredible buzz, her song Roommates is not eligible for this year’s Grammys show because it was released way after the cutoff date for voting. Maybe next year, though? So, if you’re expecting to see Dixie at the Grammys, the only hope you’ve got is if she’s there as part of the crowd or on the red carpet. Someone might even use TikTok dances in their performance and slip one of her videos in, who knows. However, she won’t be performing any of her own songs, so, sorry to disappoint anyone who may have been expecting it.

Is Dr Disrespect joining OpTic Gaming? YouTube star calls for H3CZ to ‘sign him up’ – Dexerto
Is Dr Disrespect joining OpTic Gaming? YouTube star calls for H3CZ to ‘sign him up’ GFUEL / Twitter: H3CZ / OpTic GamingCould Dr Disrespect be joining OpTic? As Hector ‘H3CZ’ Rodriguez looks to divest from NRG and own the Green Wall outright, Dr Disrespect has poked fun at getting in on the action in his latest YouTube stream. Dr Disrespect and H3CZ go way back, with the two-time creating content alongside OpTic and their stars back in 2010. The two talk regularly, and H3CZ even chimes in on his streams every so often. While there’s been rumors abound about the Doc’s involvement in the historic organization, all it could take for him to join is 100,000 retweets. Dr Disrespect floated the possibility of joining OpTic yet again on a recent YouTube stream, while mentioning the potential of H3CZ becoming the sole owner of the team, as first reported by Dexerto’s Adam Fitch. “This leads to all this talk on OpTic, and H3CZ, and what is H3CZ going to do?” he said. “Come on H3CZ — Sign me up!” Of course, OpTic’s social media team were quick to jump on the clip, promising that if it gets 100,000 retweets, they’d put pen to paper. The last time we had one of these retweet challenges, it ended in Matthew ‘Nadeshot’ Haag promising to get “sex is temporary, gaming is forever” tattooed on him. That still hasn’t happened yet, but it’s still on its way. Given how quickly that one went viral, such a huge pickup like Dr Disrespect to OpTic could definitely be floated through one of these challenges. However, it’s more likely that behind closed doors, they could already be potentially working on the pick-up.

Is Disney replacing Mickey Mouse? TikTok hoax has users baffled – Dexerto
Is Disney replacing Mickey Mouse? TikTok hoax has users baffled Unsplash: Steven Lozano/TikTokSome TikTokers have been baffled by viral claims that Disney is replacing Mickey Mouse as its mascot, but it’s not true. Here’s what you need to know. When it comes to recognizable brand logos and mascots, there’s none more recognizable than Disney and the Mickey Mouse ears. The two are inseparable, to the point where some fans have even just the company as ‘The Mouse.’ Sure, Disney might also have the princess castle as another logo, but it’s all about Mickey. You can’t go to a Disney theme park and not be bombarded by Mickey, Minnie, and the rest of the mouse gang. However, there have been claims on TikTok that this could be set to change and fans have been up in arms. Though, the outrage is all for nought. Is Mickey Mouse being replaced by Figment? The claims have come from the Mouse Trap News TikTok account, after they posted a video on February 9 claiming that Mickey was going to be replaced as the company’s mascot. In his place, the TikToker claimed that Figment the dragon – who has been a staple within Epcot – would be the new mascot because the trademark on Mickey is running out. This, as the video showed, would see Mickey statues be taken down and replaced with Figment versions. However, if you read the bio of the TikTok account, you’ll see it’s just a hoax. “Real Disney news that is 100% fake,” it says, but that hasn’t stopped fans freaking out. “Who the hell is Figment,” quizzed one baffled fan. “Figment of my imagination maybe, there’s no way this is real,” quipped another. “You’re joking? they could’ve gone with Oswald,” added another. So, if you’re worried about Mickey suddenly disappearing from all things Disney, don’t be alarmed. It’s just a run-of-the-mill TikTok hoax.

Is Disneyland Oklahoma real? Wikipedia screenshot goes viral – Dexerto
Is Disneyland Oklahoma real? Wikipedia screenshot goes viral Unsplash: @bastien_nvsA screenshot showing an alleged Oklahoma-based Disneyland has gone viral on social media – but is it real? With the news of the original version of Mickey Mouse entering public domain — quite a few Disney-focused posts have gone viral on social media. One of those posts includes a screenshot of an alleged Wikipedia page that lays claims to the idea that Disneyland created an Oklahoma-based amusement park that saw a quite interesting demise in 2022. But is it real? Here’s everything we know about Disneyland Oklahoma. Is Disneyland, Oklahoma real? No, Disneyland in Oklahoma is not real. A screenshot laying claims to its existence that was posted by Twitter/X user TheRealNeoThe is entirely false. The screenshot claims that a man named Zachariah Richard founded the amusement park in 1987 and was able to use the name after discovering that the patent for the real Walt Disney owned park had the name misspelled. In the fake Wikipedia screenshot, it’s also claimed that the park was destroyed in 2022 after the International Space Station fell on it in 2022. As of writing, the ISS is still in space and NASA has zero intentions of bringing it back to Earth for the next several years. Shortly after the post gained traction on social media, many began pointing out that the patent workaround is a direct reference to an episode of Bojack Horseman on Netflix. “Isnt this a bojack horseman episode?” one user replied. Another netizen said: “Ngl this really got me in the first half not until I realized there was a bojack reference.” “How are we sure that this is not an episode from bojack horseman? cause this be like the yesterdayland,” a third user commented. While the amusement park may not exist, there is a town in Oklahoma called Disney — but it has no connection to the iconic brand. Instead, it was named after former US Congressman Wesley E. Disney. Is David Dobrik coming back to YouTube? Corinna Kopf hints at new podcast episode – Dexerto
Is David Dobrik coming back to YouTube? Corinna Kopf hints at new podcast episode YouTube: Corinna Kopf / VIEWSFans are convinced that vlogging star David Dobrik could be coming back to YouTube in the near future, thanks to an announcement made by fellow influencer and Vlog Squad member Corinna Kopf. David Dobrik was once one of YouTube’s most prolific content creators. Boasting nearly 20 million subscribers, the star was known for his high-energy vlogs, over-the-top pranks and generous cash (and Tesla) giveaways. However, public opinion turned against Dobrik in February, with an ex-Vlog Squad member — the crew of buddies that usually shows up in David’s videos — claimed he was pressured into a prank he did not agree with. Soon afterwards, a slew of other former Vlog Squad members, YouTubers, and fans came out with allegations against Dobrik, with influencer Duerte Dom even facing allegations of sexual assault that purportedly occurred during one of Dobrik’s video shoots. The American-Slovakian content creator was dropped by a slew of sponsors shortly thereafter, and lost hundreds of thousands of subscribers as a result — and his two apology videos don’t seem to have softened the claims against him. Despite this, Vlog Squad member and streamer Corinna Kopf may have teased a solid timeframe when Dobrik could make a possible comeback to YouTube, as revealed during a livestream in mid-May 2021. During the broadcast, Kopf claimed that she might appear on an episode of Dobrik’s ‘VIEWS’ podcast in June, although she gave no specific date as to when this might happen. “I might do David’s podcast, maybe,” she said. “In June, maybe. We’ll see. If I do a podcast, it’ll be David’s.” https://twitter.com/defnoodles/status/1394405668036087808 This isn’t the first time she’s hinted at Dobrik making a potential comeback; in a now-deleted interview with paparazzi last month, Kopf claimed that she was “sure” the YouTuber would make a comeback, and that he was doing “good” in spite of the controversies surrounding him. So far, it doesn’t look like Dobrik is making much noise on social media, and the general public consensus seems to be decidedly negative toward him — so if he does eventually come back with his podcast, it will certainly be interesting to see how the episodes are received.

Is David Dobrik dating Madison Beer? YouTuber clears up rumors – Dexerto
Is David Dobrik dating Madison Beer? YouTuber clears up rumors YouTube: David Dobrik / Madison BeerDavid Dobrik’s love life is the source of much controversy in the YouTuber’s fandom. From Madison Beer, to Addison Rae, and his assistant Natalie Noel, everyone is taking sides. Dobrik has come out in a recent interview to shut them all down though. It’s the biggest question in the Dobrik fandom right now — who is the YouTube star dating? He’s been linked to some of the internet’s biggest stars, with rumors floating about for months. The biggest one circulating right now is his hookup with Madison Beer. The American pop star has been linked to Dobrik for weeks now, but the YouTuber has cleared the air — and some fans will be disappointed. David Dobrik shuts down Madison Beer dating rumors The YouTuber was interviewed by Entertainment Tonight regarding the rumors tying him with the singer, which he shot down immediately. “Maybe we are,” he said jokingly, before correcting the record. “Nah, just kidding about that one. We’re not dating.” It comes after the duo have appeared in numerous Tiktoks together that seemed to spark more rumors about the pair hooking up. In one, he even teased the two were going on a date. However, it was all just for a bit of fun, he assured fans. What about his assistant, Natalie Noel? Madison Beer isn’t the only person Dobrik has been linked to. His assistant, Natalie Noel, has also been another possible hookup. However, he also shot that down, and Noel confirmed it on camera as well. “Nah, she wishes — we’re not,” he added. “It should be obvious at this point that there’s never going to be a time where Natalie and I hook up. Even if we were stuck inside for 25 years, it’s never going to happen.” He added that all the rumors are just that — rumors — and sometimes fans take things a bit too far. “I don’t really care, should I have a reaction where I’m like upset? You interact with one female, or somebody that people think you look cute with and everyone assumes you’re dating.” So, who is he dating, or is he dating at all? Well, only one person really knows, and that’s Dobrik himself. Until he comes out into the public eye with a partner, it’ll forever remain a mystery. However, that won’t stop the shipping, and the YouTuber is sure to have a bit of fun teasing his fans with the next rumor too.

Is Cloak joining 100 Thieves? Clues hint at Nadeshot’s next top streamer – Dexerto
Is Cloak joining 100 Thieves? Clues hint at Nadeshot’s next top streamer YouTube: 100 Thieves, Nadeshot100 Thieves has become arguably one of the biggest brands in esports since its 2017 inception, and it’s starting to seem like Matthew ‘Nadeshot’ Haag may have found his next recruit in Dennis ‘Cloakzy’ Lepore. The professional Fortnite player has a good rapport with Nadeshot and the rest of the 100 Thieves organization, often spending time in the 100 Thieves content house to visit his friends, even streaming out of there at points in 2019. It’s been rumored for a while now that Cloakzy could be joining his friends in the 100 Thieves organization, with Nadeshot himself saying he would like Cloak to be the next recruit to join the team. Now, the evidence is adding up to suggest that the move could finally be happening after months of speculation. Firstly, Nade held his cards close to his chest when showing off the streaming studios at 100 Thieves’ new $35m facility saying that news about Streaming Studio 4 “hasn’t been announced yet” but promises the news is “coming soon.” Naturally, this led to speculation of a new member joining 100 Thieves, but didn’t really offer enough for fans to formulate real ideas of who it could be. That said, just a week later, a tweet posted by Cloakzy’s girlfriend Alexia helped some fans decide what they think it means. (Timestamp 6:09 for mobile viewers) On January 27, Alexia posted a tweet revealing that she’s moving to Los Angeles from New Jersey, believed to be a move to get closer to Cloak himself. She also mentioned that she “may have ended up in the same building” as 100 Thieves content creator Rachel ‘Valkyrae’ Hoffsetter, which fans think may be a hint that the move means more than meets the eye. In a follow-up tweet, Alexia said that no, she didn’t break up with Cloak, and also clarified that she is living in the same apartment complex as Valkyrae, not the 100 Thieves content house. BEFORE YOU WEENIES ASK NO DENNIS AND I DIDNT BREAK UP ALSO I MEANT THE SAME APARTMENT COMPLEX NOT 100T OK TY SORRY — alexia🌻 (@alexiaraye) January 27, 2020 Of course, many fans have picked this up and believe it to be proof that Cloak will be joining 100 Thieves, especially since the rumors have been raging on for so long now. However, everybody involved is keeping very tight-lipped on the situation, neither confirming nor denying that Cloak could be on his way to 100T – but it seems fans might have already made up their minds.

Is CouRage teasing leaving Twitch to join Shroud and Ninja on Mixer? – Dexerto
Is CouRage teasing leaving Twitch to join Shroud and Ninja on Mixer? Popular Twitch star Jack ‘CouRage’ Dunlop has hinted at an announcement due on November 4, and some eagle-eyed fans think the 100 Thieves member could possibly be on his way to Mixer. CouRage has rapidly gained a faithful following since moving to full-time streaming, first joining OpTic Gaming, then linking up with Matthew ‘Nadeshot’ Haag under 100 Thieves, back in May. The caster-turned-content creator holds a series of accomplishments to his name including working the Fortnite World Cup desk, alongside amassing a following of over 2.1 million on Twitch, while his YouTube boasts over 1.8 million subscribers — proving he has plenty of strings to his bow. Although CouRage’s progression has snowballed, fans think it could be possible that the energetic streamer is jumping ship over to Mixer, with some clues that point towards just that. Eagled-eyed Twitter user, ‘DecryptedGamer’, was one of the first to notice that the Mixer account associated with the CouRageJD alias changed its profile picture to match Dunlop’s branding. Moreover, originally stating “soon”, the Mixer channel now has a specific date that reads “11/4/19” under an offline placeholder image. It seems that the profile picture for @CouRageJD’s Mixer account got changed last night or this morning. And as you see in this screenshot, his title on @WatchMixer says “”SOON””. So maybe it’s true that he’s coming to Mixer on Monday.@MixerRetweet @RetweetMixer @MixerShares pic.twitter.com/1LwYR512cj — DecryptedGamer (@DecryptedGamer) November 2, 2019 At the time of writing, Dunlop has not streamed on his Twitch channel in six days — somewhat foreign behavior for a content creator (especially given the recent release of Modern Warfare). The changes to the Mixer channel coincidentally line-up to a series of cryptic announcements that CouRage has teased on Twitter. These short videos give nothing away other than the date for whatever he has planned, which lines up with the date now showing on the CouRageJD Mixer channel. Don’t take part… 11/4/19 pic.twitter.com/Oj1TXCogXh — Jack “CouRage” Dunlop (@CouRageJD) November 2, 2019 A potential move to Mixer would see the Twitch advocate veer away from his streaming roots, in a bid to expand his horizons alongside the likes of Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins and Michael ‘shroud’ Grzesiek. Nonetheless, it must be noted that the above is entirely speculation at this point. It’s possible that the Mixer channel in question has been set up by a random user to trick everyone, and the account is currently ‘unverified’ on the platform. Although, the move would be logical, given CouRage’s uncharacteristic absence from Twitch and Mixer’s efforts to be regarded as the number one streaming platform.

Is Censor’s house haunted? ‘The Birds’ could be happening to the ex-CoD pro – Dexerto
Is Censor’s house haunted? ‘The Birds’ could be happening to the ex-CoD pro Recently retired Call of Duty pro Doug ‘Censor’ Martin detailed some strange occurrences happening around his home, which all had to do with dead birds. According to Censor, the oddities began when his dog started bringing him the bodies of dead birds from out of a group of tall cattails in his backyard. While he thought the issue odd, he wrote it off as normal dog behavior – until an eagle crashed into his bedroom window during one of his livestreams of Call of Duty: Black Ops 4. The bird left a visible smudge mark on his windowpane, which he pointed out as evidence of his claims. That wasn’t the end of it: Censor walked out of his front door one morning to find another dead bird near his doorstep, its eyes seemingly gouged out of its head. According to Censor’s sister, the bird’s body was still limp when they found it, as if freshly dead. Additionally, Censor noted that someone had placed a ghost decoration in the limbs of one of the trees in his front yard, adding to the already spooky vibe of late October. “This is freaking me out, and I don’t know what to do,” Censor said of the happenings, visibly shaken. “I’m not even joking, this is weird shit.” Censor and his sister both think that a neighborhood prankster might be behind the instances, and Censor stated that he will look through his security footage in his next upload to pin down any possible perpetrators.

Is Charli D’Amelio appearing on Dancing with the Stars? Derek Hough sparks rumors – Dexerto
Is Charli D’Amelio appearing on Dancing with the Stars? Derek Hough sparks rumors YouTube: Charli D’Amelio / ABCProfessional dancer Derek Hough has officially sent social media into a tizzy after claiming he’d like to see TikTok star Charli D’Amelio make an appearance on a future season of Dancing with the Stars. Dancing with the Stars is entering its 30th season, with professional dancer, actor and singer Derek Hough returning as a judge. The show is known for conscripting talent from all walks of life — from television to music and more — to face off in a televised dance competition alongside professional dancers to determine which non-dancing celebrity can take home the victory. While the program has featured all manner of celebs in the past, rumors have sparked that TikTok’s top content creator could be joining the fray, thanks to a statement made by Derek Hough in an interview with celebrity news outlet Hollywood Life. View this post on Instagram In the interview, Hough gushed over the D’Amelio sisters, claiming that Charli’s background in dance would be perfect for the show, alongside her surging success on social media. “I think it’d be really cool to see one of the D’Amelio sisters on there,” the Latin dance star said. “Charli’s a really talented dancer, and she’s obviously crushing it in the TikTok world. I think she would be really good. I think she’d be awesome!” Hough’s comments aren’t coming out of the blue; the dancer claimed he had the chance to meet the D’Amelio family during his tour a few years ago, and it’s safe to say he was a fan of the experience. (Topic begins at 13:45) “They were obviously super sweet!” he continued. “When I met their mom and dad, they were like, ‘Oh, we’ve seen you live, we were in the front row!’ And it was awesome… and to see them just explode, it’s super cool.” Needless to say, Charli’s possible stint on Dancing with the Stars could draw quite a few eyeballs — but it may continue the ongoing conversation of proper dance credit, should she decide to use a few viral dances in her routine.

Is Cardi B beefing with MrBeast? Viral video calling him “cringy” sparks feud rumor – Dexerto
Is Cardi B beefing with MrBeast? Viral video calling him “cringy” sparks feud rumor Instagram: mrbeast, iamcardibIn a resurfaced video gone viral, Cardi B addressed her beef with MrBeast and why she isn’t a fan of the popular YouTuber. About six months ago, rapper Cardi B went viral for exposing her beef with well-known YouTuber MrBeast. MrBeast, who rose to fame in 2017 after he released a video of himself counting to 100,000 in 40 hours, continued to gain a fanbase with his highly involved videos. He has also hired a plethora of his childhood friends to help run his many businesses like MrBeast Burger and foundations like Arbor Day and The Ocean Cleanup. Though MrBeast and Cardi B may have never crossed each other’s paths, the ‘Bodak Yellow’ singer has gone viral for calling MrBeast a variety of names. She also defended the influencer Groovin’ Gorilla who was canceled earlier this year and compared his success to MrBeast’s staggering earnings. Cardi B calls for people to stop canceling “corny” influencers like MrBeast In her livestream that went viral, Cardi B defended Groovin’ Gorilla, a famous TikToker before he was canceled this year by at least 8,000 petitioners for his online antics. She went on to compare Groovin’ Gorilla to MrBeast and Jake Paul, saying that they made millions from the same type of content that Groovin’ Gorilla was making. She also dissected her opinions on MrBeast’s content, saying, “[i]f you look at MrBeast, his content is kind of cringy, too. It’s not funny to me, but kids like it.” Cardi B continued, “He gets so much support… he has so much money now and he was practically doing what these same guys are doing. She then called out MrBeast for his successful content and community, saying, “The content that is being created these days is corny… It’s not for me personally.” She also pointed out the fact that influencers like Groovin’ Gorilla got canceled by “their own community,” whereas the “white folks” like MrBeast just continue to get richer for creating the “same content.” Cardi B ended her rant by saying that MrBeast is “making more than your favorite artist.” Though the Cardi B clip from her 10-minute live stream has gone viral months after she made the comments online, Cardi B has yet to defend herself against her comparisons and opinion of MrBeast. MrBeast has also not commented.

Is Better Help hiring actors to create fake reviews? – Dexerto
Is Better Help hiring actors to create fake reviews? Online counseling service Better Help has been at the center of a turbulent YouTube controversy – and now, things could be getting even worse for their image. Current YouTube king Felix ‘ PewDiePie’ Kjellberg uploaded a video dissecting the service’s testimonials, noting that they appeared to be scripted, as one individual referred to another user’s experience with the site rather than having used the service himself. “Julian says that BetterHelp.com is a reliable, online platform to receive therapy,” the reviewer stated. “…A therapist of theirs, Lauren McCoy, is attentive, and asks the right questions.” Drama Alert host KEEMSTAR followed up the story with some additional investigation from fans, which revealed that the reviewer in question is a sales and marketing specialist up for hire on freelance service website Fiverr. The reviewer in question, Rob Spence, has a profile on the site that features an array of services, one of which is “creating a professional company spokesperson video” – which lines up with his retelling of Julian’s “testimony” on the Better Help website. This story marks the latest in a slew of allegations against Better Help, which were exposed for their questionable terms of service. While the TOS have since been rewritten, YouTubers who partnered with the service are still catching heat for allegedly capitalizing off of their fans’ mental health, including the likes of Shane Dawson, H3H3, and Philip DeFranco. These YouTubers allegedly make up to $200 per signup when viewers use their promotional code. While some of these personalities have defended their involvement with the company, others have since backed away from the service – one of which is Boogie2988, who stated that he “no longer feels safe” promoting the website after becoming aware of its TOS.

Is Better Help really ‘YouTube’s biggest scam?’ Philip DeFranco says no – Dexerto
Is Better Help really ‘YouTube’s biggest scam?’ Philip DeFranco says no Online counseling service Better Help is currently at the center of a massive YouTube controversy, after Drama Alert host KEEMSTAR reported speculation toward its shady terms of service and negative reviews. While the site’s ambiguous TOS have since been revealed as ‘legalese’ to prevent liability, KEEMSTAR continues to take issue with YouTubers promoting the service – one of which is news YouTuber Philip DeFranco, who KEEMSTAR feels is making money off of his mentally ill fans. Read More: Jake Paul teases next boxing opponent, reveals motivation behind crazy pranks in Shane Dawson docuseries – DeFranco vehemently denied these claims, feeling that BetterHelp is a “good product and sponsor with a good purpose” that was “well-received” by his viewers. He even claims to use the service himself, although KEEMSAR has questioned this claim. While Defranco admitted that the site’s TOS were concerning, he pointed out that BetterHelp has largely positive reviews online, with an A+ from the Better Business Bureau among top scores on other credited sites. Read More: Is Fouseytube a master manipulator? Adam Saleh comes forward with allegations of abusive behavior – He also addressed those who felt like BetterHelp was turning them away after a brief appraisal or escalation of their mental state, stating that the service would rather patients seek help from face-to-face therapists than continue treatment that isn’t right for them. In addition, DeFranco referenced a statement made by Better Help founder Alon Matas, who wrote that the service has a strict vetting process for their counselors, and does not allow just anyone to sign up as a therapist. DeFranco ceased partnership with Better Help following KEEMSTAR’s video on the subject, and will film an investigation into the service’s office with a third-party journalist.

Is Asmongold moving to Kick? Cryptic comments fuel rumors among fans – Dexerto
Is Asmongold moving to Kick? Cryptic comments fuel rumors among fans Twitch: Asmongold/KickFans of popular Twitch streamer Asmongold have begun wondering whether or not the OTK co-owner is going to move to Kick after a series of cryptic comments from the star. Over the last few years, One True Kings co-owner Asmongold has become the go-to Twitch streamer for MMO content, featuring games like World of Warcraft, Final Fantasy, and more on his channel. He’s expressed his distaste towards the Twitch community in the past, as well as questioned some of the purple-apps past decisions involving his channel. Many have begun to wonder whether or not the Twitch star is going to switch to the budding platform — and they have cryptic comments from Asmon to back up their thoughts. Asmongold moving to Kick? There is no concrete evidence that Asmongold is switching from Twitch to Kick. As the popularity of Kick has exploded over the last few weeks, rumors involving an increasing number of streamers signing to the platform have swirled around social media. On March 27, Adin Ross tweeted that Kick had signed “another superstar” to the platform which led to Asmongold replying to the post. “Hmm, I wonder who it is,” he said, leading many to think he may be the aforementioned superstar. In the replies to his tweet, a fan shared a clip from Asmongold’s recent stream. In the clip, he says that if streamers can move to Kick and retain their audience, they will move to Kick. “It’s literally that simple. Why would you not move to Kick? You get paid more money and you still have people watching you. Why would you stay on Twitch with 50/50 [sub revenue split],” he asked. When a chatter mentioned to Asmon that it sounded like he was going to the platform, the OTK co-owner mentioned that “it’d be really cool” if Twitch gave him money to stay but also hinted that “nothing would change” if they didn’t. We’ll have to wait to see who the new Kick signings are exactly, whether it’s Asmongold, Dr Disrespect, or even Kai Cenat. While we wait for the platform to announce its new partners, though, you can head over to our entertainment section for more news and other viral stories.

Is Belle Delphine’s mugshot and arrest real? – Dexerto
Is Belle Delphine’s mugshot and arrest real? Instagram and YouTube star Belle Delphine is back in the headlines after apparently being arrested and releasing her mugshot, but some theory-crafters are not convinced it’s legitimate. On October 7, Delphine posted her ‘mugshot’, complete with a watermark from the Metropolitan Police, to Twitter with the caption ‘I got arrested lol’. Later, the YouTuber explained that her arrest was because of her vandalizing a friend’s car, because they had stolen her hamster, and had images to ‘prove’ this. Was Belle Delphine really arrested? However, the veracity of this story and her arrest, in general, has been called into question. Self-styled Twitter detectives were quickly on the case, claiming that the mugshot differed from others taken that same day, and that it’s not typical for Met Police to watermark the images. The image itself could not be found elsewhere online prior to Delphine’s initial post. Another user also claimed that when searching the Met Police records for her real name, Mary-Belle Kirschner, there is no entry. You also can’t find her here https://t.co/P5blp1VUNB by searching her real name — ky (@Eirnaire) October 8, 2019 Others believe it is fake due to the lack of hard evidence, and her penchant for trying to go viral. She took a break from social media after her Instagram account was suspended, and some believe this could be her angling for a way back into the limelight. It’s fake. This isn’t a real mugshot. If she had been arrested we would’ve gotten the news from other source with a mugshot where she looks bad. She’s cute in the pic. It’s Delphine, she craves attention and controversy.— My Info (@MyInfo92379237) October 7, 2019 On October 4, H3H3’s Ethan Klien had speculated that Belle Delphine had been in trouble with the law, which would explain her disappearance, and then coincidentally, she posted the mugshot three days later. Klien posted a cryptic tweet in response, perhaps hinting that the story was fabricated to fit in with his speculation. So, the jury is still out, so to speak, on whether the YouTuber was really arrested, or if it was a ploy to go viral once more. Either way, the latter has been achieved regardless, and with interest in Belle Delphine spiking once again, it’s possible she will make her return to her YouTube channel, and perhaps Instagram if she can get her account back.

Another user reminded critics saying, “Please Jonathan is gay and you all are just jealous that Ariana is married to a nice guy like Dalton.” Internet users speculated about her ring because she was last seen with it in April and her choice of being less open about her personal life on social media does not give a lot of story to fans either. Addison Rae is one of the most-followed content creators on TikTok, where she boasts a whopping 88 million followers. Although she got her start on the viral video platform, she’s since expanded her career to star in the major Netflix movie ‘He’s All That,’ and even scored a multi-film deal with the company. In 2021, she released her first original song, ‘Obsessed,’ and even performed the single on Jimmy Fallon’s The Tonight Show for a live audience. Since then, she’s been quiet about any upcoming songs, although she did claim that her debut album was on the way shortly after releasing Obsessed in March 2021. Addison Rae teases new music for 2023 on Spotify It’s been nearly two years since that point, and fans were beginning to worry that Addison had given up on her musical pursuits… until now. Eagle eyed fans were quick to notice a small change to Addison’s profile on Spotify. Now, the internet star’s “about” section says “Addison Rae 2023” — and listeners are already anticipating the long-awaited release of that previously teased debut album. While we haven’t heard any officially released music from Addison since ‘Obsessed,’ a full album’s worth of unreleased songs were leaked back in Summer 2022. The tracks all boasted a mid-2000’s style pop sound, reminiscent of Nelly Furtado and classic Britney Spears. Although Addison has since deleted her posts responding to the leak, she said she “love[d] that a few of the songs I made that I would’ve never let see the light of day are some of people’s favorites.” For now, fans will just have to wait until Addison makes a move — but until then, she’s keeping pretty quiet on social media amid the ongoing drama surrounding her father, Monty Lopez.

Is Andrew Tate banned on Twitch? – Dexerto
Is Andrew Tate banned on Twitch? Andrew TateWith platforms such as TikTok, YouTube, Facebook and Instagram all taking action against Andrew Tate content, there are questions over his status on Twitch, the Amazon-owned livestreaming platform that Tate has been making the rounds on in recent months. Tate, a former professional kickboxer and reality TV star, has shot to internet infamy in 2022, largely thanks to viral clips of him being shared on social media. His content sparked immediate controversy though, with many accusing his comments of being misogynistic. On August 22, TikTok banned Andrew Tate content for “attacks, threatens, incites violence against, or otherwise dehumanizes an individual or a group.” But is Andrew Tate banned from Twitch? The answer is somewhat complicated. Andrew Tate’s Twitch channel removed On the same day as his TikTok ban, Tate’s YouTube and Twitch channels were removed. However, unlike his bans on other platforms, it appears Tate himself opted to delete his Twitch channel. It’s possible that this was a pre-emptive move, because if Twitch had issued a ban to his channel themselves, it would prevent Tate from appearing on other streams. Banned streamers on Twitch are not permitted to appear on the streams of other channels, or that channel will also receive a ban. In recent weeks, Tate has appeared on channels like Adin Ross and Clix. Streamers call for Andrew Tate Twitch ban With the status of Tate’s presence on Twitch unknown, some streamers have called for the platform to follow suit with other websites and ban him outright. Twitch partner iamfallfromgrace said: “We don’t need any more streamers platforming Tate and allowing him to further spread his blatant hatred of women.” YouTuber and streamer Vaush, who was previously banned from Twitch for the word ‘cracker’, said Twitch is typically a “ban-happy platform” – yet was taking longer than other platforms to ban him. Dexerto has reached out to Twitch for comment on the status of Tate on their platform.

Is Andrew Tate playing a character? – Dexerto
Is Andrew Tate playing a character? Andrew Tate’s viral stardom has left many wondering if he truly believes the things he says or if it’s all an act. For better or worse, Andrew Tate has become a force in the Twitch world. The former pro-kickboxer and reality TV star has made his mark on the internet largely through controversial opinions on women and their place in society. He’s so consistently in the headlines that many people are asking if he’s playing a character and cashing in on a lack of scruples for the wondrous reward of internet stardom, or if he’s really the same man when the lights turn off and the camera stops recording. There’s a lot to be considered when determining if this is all an act, but if you follow the bread crumbs through the forest, there’s a pretty definitive answer waiting for you at the end. Andrew Tate bursts into mainstream Twitch culture thanks to TikTok and Adin Ross Tate’s brand of controversial opinions and misogynistic takes are not new to the internet, but they’ve seemed to find new life when uttered by the Hustler’s University founder. The former pro-fighter is pretty much always being held over the coals on TikTok, but he most recently held the viral spotlight thanks to a July 16 podcast with Adin Ross, and in the time following, it has practically been impossible to avoid clips of him defending his opinions. Former Overwatch pro and current content juggernaut xQc and political commentator HasanAbi are the two standout names to challenge him so far, and both of those streams only further launched him into the world of virality. What makes Tate stand out from the sea of other creators who have tried and failed to build an audience by trading on outrage is a sea of charisma and an absolute lack of filter. All it takes is a cursory glance at comments on that initial Adin Ross podcast stream to understand why people tune in to watch him go back and forth over the net each week. “When you look past Andrew’s character and exaggerations, he spits very real wisdom. The man could motivate a chicken to fly,” one comment reads. Another commenter claims that A.T. is the key to fixing a generational problem among men: “He is the answer to what young weak men need right now – and for the last many decades.” Of course, Tate already knows he’s magnetic. It’s how he landed on the reality UK version of the reality TV show Big Brother back in 2016. He’s been around the entertainment industry enough to know how to build a personality and sell drama to anyone willing to buy it. There’s a reason he streams with his shirt off and a cigar in his mouth – it sets the expectation of what comes next before he even opens his mouth. It’s all a part of the devil-may-care attitude that uses the building blocks of every “jock” stereotype that modern media has ever produced to create the perfect image of the ‘alpha male’. It’s Dan Bilzerian meets Otto Weninger and the internet is eating it up. This kind of cult following is unhealthy at best, but it gets significantly more concerning when asking whether or not Tate believes what he’s saying day in and day out. If he does, then he’s peddling deranged, harmful narratives that are finding a bigger foothold with each new streamer that engages with his ego-filled rhetoric. If he doesn’t then he’s building a fanbase off of the vilest instincts of the public all in the name of money that he almost assuredly doesn’t need. Andrew and his brother Tristan accumulated quite the fortune through running a ‘camgirl’ site where viewers, often time lonely men seeking any form of companionship they can possibly find, spend money to keep the attention of the women who stream there. The problem is the entire thing is fake. As the other Tate brother told Sunday Mirror in 2016, “it’s all a big scam.” The women who are on camera are not the ones responding to these suitors in private chats. It’s an operation that sees multiple team members holding conversations and working cash out of clients that believe they’re engaging in a real connection. Andrew has spent most of his time as a celebrity proving that he’s exactly who he says he is. When you factor in the 11 sexual assault charges that allegedly inspired him to leave the U.K. and move to Romania in 2017, there’s just no question about what’s going on behind the scenes: His entire broadcasting career has amounted to the video equivalent of an r/AITA thread to which the answer is yes.

Is Addison Rae joining David Dobrik and the Vlog Squad? – Dexerto
Is Addison Rae joining David Dobrik and the Vlog Squad? TikTok: addisonreCould Addison Rae be joining the Vlog Squad? That’s what fans think, as more rumors about the TikTok star’s swap from the Hype House to David Dobrik’s crew start popping up. Addison Rae is one of TikTok — and the internet’s — biggest stars. She has 46.3 million followers on the viral social media platform, 20 million on Instagram, and over two million on YouTube and Twitter. She’s currently part of one of TikTok’s biggest collectives, the Hype House. However, allegiances could be changing, with a possible move to the Vlog Squad being teed up. Rae has been connected to the Dobrik-led collective numerous times before. These latest rumors might be the most solid yet though. Zane Hijazi made a comment on Instagram about Rae’s “status” within the Vlog Squad, saying that “she’s still in the audition process.” Whether this was tongue-in-cheek or not, it has got fans from all sides of the spectrum reeling. Some are looking forward to perhaps more Rae and Dobrik action on the regular, while others don’t want to see her leave the Hype House. https://www.instagram.com/p/CBgnCxxnwd7/ Rae has also spent some time collaborating with Dobrik recently. She appeared on his Views podcast to talk about how much money TikTok creators are making, and also has made a couple of YouTube vlog cameos. It also comes after dating rumors between the two were shut down over time. Back in April, the TikTok duo were all the rage — as a couple — but that has seemingly fizzled out after the pair consistently denied it. Rae hasn’t officially left the Hype House — the rival collective to the Vlog Squad — but rumors of her exit have circulated for months. Rae was penned to leave the house after the D’Amelio sisters bailed in April, but nothing has happened since. All these signs and more have been pointing towards Addison’s potential jump from the House to the Squad. However, nothing is set in stone yet. If the move does end up happening though, it would be a big scalp for the Vlog Squad. Rae’s huge social reach is a big asset to have, and it could only lead to more hilarious collabs between her and Dobrik which fans love.

Is Addison Rae pregnant? TikTok comments confuse fans – Dexerto
Is Addison Rae pregnant? TikTok comments confuse fans Instagram: addisonraeeFans of TikTok sensation Addison Rae have been left baffled after her videos were flooded with comments congratulating her on her ‘pregnancy,’ but it turns out to have just been a hoax. With over 85 million followers, 21-year-old Addison Rae is one of TikTok’s biggest stars. She started uploading on the app in 2019 and quickly garnered a huge following that has propelled her into global fame. However, being such a huge star means she is often the subject of bizarre rumors that dominate social media, and this latest one has got fans baffled. On November 5, Addison’s videos on TikTok were flooded with comments from people congratulating her on a pregnancy. “I’m so excited for the pregnancy!” one user wrote, with another saying “Can’t wait for the baby! Congrats.” Naturally, this led to many fans wondering if the star had made a big announcement on another platform, confused by the sudden influx of comments making reference to a baby. However, it appears that it was all a hoax. On November 5, TikToker Old Rod uploaded a video in which he said he wanted to start “a big confusing rumor for no reason at all.” “Why don’t we all just comment on Addison Rae’s posts congratulating her on her pregnancy,” they wrote. “Like what’s stopping us confusing people that aren’t in on the joke?” Click here if TikTok doesn’t load They definitely managed to create chaos in the star’s comments, and while some people were entertained by the prank, others criticized it by saying it could be considered body shaming. This isn’t the first time that Addison has been the subject of pregnancy rumors. In 2020 she had to deny claims she was pregnant after a video of her touching her stomach in an interview sparked theories. The influencer hasn’t responded to this particular round of rumors, but whether she addresses the flood of comments remains to be seen.

Is Addison Rae and Bryce Hall’s relationship over? New interview hints at Braddison breakup – Dexerto
Is Addison Rae and Bryce Hall’s relationship over? New interview hints at Braddison breakup Instagram: Bryce HallBryce Hall and Addison Rae’s confusing relationship has taken yet another head-scratching turn, as some fans think she referred to Hall as her “ex-boyfriend” in a new interview. Bryce Hall and Addison Rae are one of TikTok’s most popular couples. However, whether or not they’re actually a couple has been a constant issue of contention among fans, as the two have been on-again, off-again for the past year. After months of not-really-dating, the two officially confirmed their relationship status in a November 2020 YouTube video. Since then, though, the couple has been plagued with breakup rumors, which have cumulated in a viral clip taken from a March 23 interview. The interview, conducted by New Zealand DJ Zane Lowe for Apple Music, discussed Rae’s breakout song, ‘Obsessed,’ before she apparently mentioned Bryce Hall — and even referred to him as her ex-boyfriend. View this post on Instagram “Right before the studio, I had dropped off my ex-boyfriend at the time — or, my boyfriend at the time, and I dropped him off at his house,” she said. It seems that Rae called Bryce Hall her ex before stepping in to correct herself, leading many fans to believe that the couple is well and truly over. Knowing “Braddison’s” historically cryptic nature, though, this could be the only official “announcement” we ever receive from the couple. This latest development comes a few weeks after the duo were submerged in cheating rumors, with fans accusing Bryce Hall of having cheated on Rae while he was on a Las Vegas trip. Hall, however, vehemently denied these allegations, as did the woman Hall was purportedly cheating with, who stated that they had only met for business. Read More: What happened to TikTok Room? – Shortly thereafter, though, Addison Rae unfollowed Bryce Hall on social media, which may have triggered an unfollow from him, as Hall claims he has never unfollowed the ‘Obsessed’ singer. View this post on Instagram With all this in mind, it stands to reason that fans are worried the couple is officially over, although it’s important to remember that this is mere speculation and no official announcement has come forth from either party.

Is Addison Rae back on Twitter? TikTok star returns after #RIPAddisonRae fiasco – Dexerto
Is Addison Rae back on Twitter? TikTok star returns after #RIPAddisonRae fiasco YouTube: Addison RaeTikTok star Addison Rae has returned to Twitter after suddenly deactivating her profile as rumors that she had passed away circulated across the popular social media application. Addison Rae is one of TikTok’s most popular content creators. Boasting over 79 million followers and even scoring her own makeup line, Rae has become quite a celebrity in her own right — but with great fame comes, well… a great amount of rumors, apparently. Late on April 12, Addison Rae’s Twitter account disappeared, with curious users being met with a screen that said “Tweets aren’t loading right now.” This led to a slew of speculation regarding why she had decided to apparently deactivate. The star had previously been hacked across multiple accounts, prompting some fans to wonder if this hadn’t happened again. That wasn’t the only thing worrying her viewers, though; a hashtag spreading across Twitter appeared to claim that Rae had passed away, simply reading, “#RIPAddisonRae.” Read More: Top 20 most followed TikTok accounts – While the exact origin of the hashtag is unclear, some users are stating that Kpop fans began to spread the term online, claiming that she had died in a car accident — although their reasoning for purportedly doing so is also up in the air. https://twitter.com/blxckgf/status/1382435859828465664 Luckily, Rae has come back online and is posting, putting fans’ minds at ease — but this is far from the first time that such rumors have been spread regarding TikTok’s biggest stars. Charli D’Amelio was also a subject of death rumors a few months prior, with one “clairvoyant” prediction YouTube channel stating that she would similarly die in a car crash on a specific date and time. View this post on Instagram Charli even had to reassure fans that she was alive and well after the date had passed. Addison’s current predicament only adds to the conversation regarding harassment against content creators — and unfounded rumors spreading about celebrities, in general.

Ironmouse teases “very interesting era” of VShojo is coming – Dexerto
Ironmouse teases “very interesting era” of VShojo is coming Ironmouse / VShojoPopular Vtuber Ironmouse has teased that a “very interesting era,” of VShojo is on the way following the agency’s loss of multiple talents. VShojo underwent a difficult period through the end of April and the beginning of May that saw three of its talents leave after not renewing their contracts. The exit of Silvervale, Veibae. and later Nyanners left the agency with just eight talents. That’s the fewest members that VShojo has had since Vei first joined on April 9, 2021. The loss of some of its talents has led members of the Vtuber community to question VShojo’s future, but now Ironmouse has spoken out and insisted exciting times lie ahead. Ironmouse is optimistic about VShojo’s future Ironmouse has responded on stream to the ongoing community discussion regarding the future of VShojo. The agency’s star talent insisted that things are going great and that a “very interesting era,” lies ahead. It’s going to be quite the time. A very interesting era of VShojo is about to begin.” Ironmouse would go on to be critical of those in the VTuber community stirring up rumors on YouTube claiming that they “don’t know sh*t,” about VShojo’s affairs. VShojo has already begun making moves to strengthen its lineup. On May 13, the Vtuber talent agency unveiled Henya the Genius as its latest addition. Henya debuted under the Japanese branch of VShojo alongside Amemiya Nazuna and Kson, both of which joined on July 16, 2022. Ironmouse Subathon success sees her smash Twitch subscriber record – Dexerto
Ironmouse Subathon success sees her smash Twitch subscriber record IronmouseIronmouse has surpassed her sub record set during last year’s Subathon, managing to reach over 172,000 active subs on Twitch with four days still to go. In March 2022, Ironmouse ran an extremely successful Subathon on Twitch. The month-long event saw the popular VShojo member peak at 171,818 active subscriptions. This was and had remained a Twitch record for the most active subscriptions ever for a Vtuber and for a female streamer. That is until now, as Ironmouse has returned to once again break these records with another massive Subathon held during June 2023. Ironmouse surpasses 172,000 subs during her 2023 Subathon Ironmouse has beaten her own record of 171,818 active subs during her 2023 Subathon. She is currently at 172,093 active subs. Showing appreciation for those that supported the subathon Mouse said: “We did it, Bros. We crushed last year’s record! I love you guys! Thank you for all the incredible support and thank you for watching! Today has been a magical day!” The success of this Subathon cannot be understated. According to TwitchTracker, Mouse’s sub count places her as the fourth most actively subscribed Twitch streamer ever, only behind Kai, Ludwig, and Ninja. Equally, from June 20 to June 26, the devil Vtuber racked up just short of 1.6 million hours watched. In the same duration, the next closest female streamer was Karubi Akami with 481,000. Ironmouse is hosting the subathon to raise money for The Immune Deficiency Foundation, a charity that aims to improve the diagnosis, treatment, and quality of life of people with immunodeficiency disorder. Mouse herself is open about having the disorder and has spoken about the challenges it brings. Despite breaking her own record, Ironmouse isn’t stopping yet. Her 2023 Subathon is scheduled to continue until the end of the month so she still has until June 30 to get even more subs.

How Ironmouse’s subathon brought VTubers to the forefront of streaming – Dexerto
How Ironmouse’s subathon brought VTubers to the forefront of streaming Twitch: Ironmouse / TwitchVTubing was once considered a fringe part of streaming, sequestered into its little corner of the internet. VShojo star Ironmouse changed that in 2022 with her record-breaking subathon. Reaching hundreds of thousands — if not millions — across the world, this mighty mouse from Puerto Rico brought VTubers to the forefront of streaming. Projekt Melody, one of Ironmouse’s sidekicks at VShojo, remembers the first time she ever saw her. “I saw this little pink character sing the most beautiful song — that classic opera Ave Maria, and my heart exploded into a million pieces,” she reminisced. “I’ve never seen a beautiful anime girl sing Ave Maria and I was tearing up. “She had 50 followers [at the time]. Having 50 people be in the same room as you and agree with you and think you’re awesome is already an achievement. Two years later and she has over a million. How unfathomable, mind boggling, is that?” As unfathomable as it may seem, it’s a rather poetic description of Ironmouse’s journey. Her entire VTuber career — her entire life — has been this remarkable quest. The Puerto Rican streamer might have a relatively unassuming presence on Twitch. Yes she’s the embodiment of Satan in this cute pink demon-slash-mouse, but she’s never really been one for the limelight. That all changed, though, when suddenly tens of thousands were tuning in watching every second of her life for 31 days straight. Ironmouse had taken on the challenge of a subathon in February 2022. Popularized by Ludwig Ahgren, who broke (and still holds) the Twitch subscriber record with his own nonstop broadcast in 2021, it sees streamers stay live for as long as their viewers dictate. Every donation and subscription adds time onto the clock — anything from a second, to five seconds, to a whole minute. The stream doesn’t end until that clock hits zero. It was a novelty thing at the time on Twitch. The flavor of the month, the meta. For any regular streamer, they could just click “Start Streaming” in OBS and go for as long as they wanted. But Ironmouse had more preparation to do than most. The VTuber has a chronic illness called common variable immune deficiency (CVID), as well as a lung condition. She has been living within the four walls of her bedroom almost non-stop for years, on oxygen and away from the outside world. However since she started streaming — behind her virtual avatar back in 2017 — she always had one goal. “For a long time, I always wanted to do a marathon stream,” Ironmouse explained to Dexerto. “When I first started streaming I could only stream for an hour, two hours, as I was still having a lot of health issues. “I’d see people do these long streams and I wanted to do that so bad. I’ve had this desire to always want to do that but it never seemed to happen for me. “Suddenly after [the global health crisis], I started growing a lot more and more opportunities started coming. I started making more money and taking better care of myself and I realized that slowly but surely my time online would increase. I would start at 1-2 hours, but then I could go for three hours, then four, and it wasn’t until my birthday [in 2020] that I realized ‘holy crap I could maybe do this.’ “The longest stream I ever did was seven hours and I thought maybe I could do more but I was afraid. I wouldn’t call it training but I kept slowly increasing my time and then finally the desire to do a subathon overtook me.” When Ironmouse put her ducks in a row to make the subathon happen, she wasn’t expecting much. Maybe she would be live for a few days, a week at most. If only it was that merciful. Ironmouse ended up being on stream for a month straight. Viewers followed her every move with very little privacy beyond the avatar. She had to dip off stream from time to time, but otherwise she was at her computer playing games, singing karaoke-style, chatting with viewers, or sleeping (she even had a little bed asset made for her model instead of just standing there motionless). Friends dropped in, saying hello in an open Discord call which was active basically 24/7. There were some regular faces there: voice actor and Twitch star in his own right Connor ‘CDawg’ Colquhoun was a popular figure, and so too other VShojo girls like Silvervale. “It felt like a constant podcast,” Silver said. “It was always really interesting what people were talking about. The conversations were crazy. “It was funny when she would be sleeping and we would try to be really weird and affect her dreams — at one point she actually had a dream about something we were talking about which was kind of funny. It was nice to always have people around.” The subathon wasn’t all smooth sailing. Being live for that long is bound to have its ups and downs. One unconsidered side effect of the megastream was seeing her other work pile up. Collaborations had to be postponed (or pulled onto the subathon), voice recordings delayed; the list was growing alongside her subscriber count. “After time started passing and it was X day I was like ‘oh my God’,” Ironmouse laughed. “It’s funny because at that point I was like ‘whatever happens, happens’. Around the 28 day mark I realized I had so many projects I needed to work on that I needed to find a way to end this.” There were some smaller things too. She ran out of content ideas quite quickly, which saw her subathon transform and evolve over time. And while she considers herself an “extrovert” and her number one goal on Twitch was to “make friends”, her social battery was pretty drained. There were criticisms among all the praise. Some labeled the stream boring, and once you hit 28 days of repeating the same things over and over it makes sense — even Mouse agrees. But the actual content of the subathon didn’t mean as much as two things: the person (or avatar) who was on it, and the audiences it was capturing. “I was terrified in the very beginning because there were so many people there,” Projekt Melody said. “She knew the same fear — more now because she was getting attention for being her authentic self as well, killing it, and showing the world ‘hey I’m this very niche thing, I’m hilarious, and we’re just as valid as any other entertainer. “She took [her] situation and she turned it into something beautiful and made her dreams come true because she’s this powerful force of a person,” Nyanners added. “Getting to see her reach those heights in front of everyone and see how happy she was and accomplish something she deserves a million times over. “So many people got converted to the dark side of VTubing because of her.” It got to the point where you couldn’t help but cheer for her, donate a little bit to raise the timer, and see her live out her dream of that on mega marathon stream against the odds. “I remember when we first met back in 2020,” Zentreya recalled. “It was near the end, she was this super shy girl who just really wanted to make some friends. She had told me about her health and stuff and it really reminded me of my mom when she was fighting her sickness. I saw a lot of my mom in her, and seeing her just push forward with her life at that moment, still being able to have fun, being scared somewhat, but still wanting to do what she wanted to do was amazing. “Watching her slowly grow and grow and grow into this huge idol for so many others. Some of who have the same sickness or have an illness or disability, they cheer her on too. That’s something that really just opens your eyes and you want her to succeed. You want her to be up there and pushing past the stars and becoming one.” And as the records came tumbling down — first KKatamina’s record for the most-subbed to woman on Twitch, and then 100,000 subs before ending at around 170,000 — so did the tears. “It was really emotional and I was really proud of her,” Silver said. “I was on at the end of the subathon when we were saying goodbye and crying. It’s really special and it was nice for people to realise that VTubers aren’t a fad, we aren’t just weird anime people.” The impacts of Mousey’s subathon were felt just as widely as Ludwig’s back in 2021 too. It sparked a new wave of streamers, specifically VTubers, going live for as long as possible in their own marathon streams. “I think Mousey started the subathon meta in the VTuber community,” Veibae explained. “So many streamers are doing it now, there’s like 20 streamers I know who had a subathon right after Mousey because of how successful it was. I’m pretty sure every VTuber has done a subathon after Mousey’s, everyone was on at all times. It was fun. “It was so cool because you could literally click on one stream to another and see them all. Even timezone wise, some would be sleeping, some would be hanging out, others playing games. It’s VTuber Big Brother.” There’s these broad strokes about how Ironmouse’s subathon helped VTubers get off the ground in the Western market on Twitch — one look at the VTubers tag nowadays and you’ll find thousands of streamers behind their wildly-varying avatars live at any time. Yes, anyone you ask will unanimously say Ironmouse’s subathon put VTubers out there more than they already were, and that the scene is slowly getting destigmatized. “I feel like a lot more eyes were on us after that happened,” Ironmouse stated. “I see a lot more VTubers around, interacting with the community and it makes me happy because I know it’s different what we do, but at the end of the day we’re still streamers and we’re all the same. Above it all though, the subathon is ultimately about one Puerto Rican girl who had a dream of making friends and sharing her life with them. There was no obligation to be there, but thousands were, and it made for an unforgettable month. “I cried a lot,” she continued. “I know people that watch me, they care and they like me. I like them too, I’m happy that they’re there. I’m honored people take time out of their day to spend it with me because time is very valuable and you don’t have to be here but they were. It touched my heart so much, especially people who were very enthusiastic about keeping me online and it was a surreal experience and it was wonderful.” Just don’t ask Ironmouse to pick a single favorite bit: “My favorite moment… all of it! It was all great. Every minute of it was great. I had so much fun, and it was just incredible.”

Ironmouse and the power of VTubing: “You become a superhero” – Dexerto
Ironmouse and the power of VTubing: “You become a superhero” Twitch: IronmouseIronmouse has grown from a soft-spoken streamer to Twitch’s biggest VTuber with a boisterous personality. The medium hasn’t just given the VShojo star an audience, but allowed her to find friends, confidence, and achieve the impossible. Ironmouse was growing tired after hours upon hours of signing prints of herself for fans. The VTuber had opened up a store with two options to pick from, and the lovable star would put her mark on them as well as a special message inside for those who opted. When I spoke to her right after the first signing session live on stream — reading viewers’ messages while writing her own — it was basically all a blur. “I was so shocked,” she said, reflecting on the amount of traction it got. “I don’t remember… what was the number?” Roxy, Ironmouse’s head moderator, quickly chimed in: “In the first hour you had several hundred of them and within 2-3 hours they were sold out.” She exclaimed at the sheer number, before realizing while she had done a mountain of signings, there was an Everest-sized amount left scattered around for her to complete. “It’s okay I wore my [arm] brace,” she laughed. “Somebody yelled at me.” She was trying her best to keep her autograph the same for everyone. That fell flat pretty quickly. “I tried to do it the same but as the night went on I realized that as much as I thought it looks the same, it does not look the same.” Such is the life of Ironmouse now, Twitch’s biggest VTubing sensation. “There’s two different versions of me” Ironmouse isn’t just an overnight success story. In fact, as far as internet creators go, she’s been on one of the toughest grinds to reach her level of stardom. The Puerto Rican VTuber started out in the dark days of virtual streaming back in 2017, when the only name the internet really knew was Kizuna AI. The Japanese VTuber, who many consider to be the first, was this fringe figure people online knew about but never really paid attention to. But for Mousey, she was an idol. With musical talents akin to her own, she could somewhat see herself in those shoes. There were a couple of problems though. One: VTubing was niche — even by today’s standards the community is still relatively niche, but back then it was as underground as it comes. The second? She didn’t know where to start from a technical and personal point of view. “I saw so many people streaming and I went ‘I want to do that’ but I didn’t think anybody was going to watch me because I’m not fun and I don’t have the life experience to tell interesting stories. I didn’t think anything of it,” she stated. “I was really nervous about showing myself because of my personal issues but I had a friend who introduced me to a program called FaceRig. “I was watching a lot of Kizuna AI and to me it felt impossible because I would see her and think ‘man she must have a huge team and this is really expensive to do’. My friend comes in and she’s like ‘there’s a program called FaceRig, you can be an anime girl on the internet,’ and I’m like ‘no one is going to watch me’ but I guess everything happens the way it did.” Those personal issues are something Ironmouse has been very public with. She suffers from common variable immunodeficiency (CVID) as well as a lung condition. This left the rather personable entertainer stuck indoors for years — long before the world started its own self-isolation — hooked up to oxygen around the clock so as to not fall even more ill. Adapting to this new lifestyle was hard when she was diagnosed, but VTubing allowed her to stay in touch with the outside world, and even helped with treating her condition once she started blowing up in 2020 and she could afford better care. “My situation was very strange because I’ve always been very extroverted, but because of how I have to live I’ve had to be introverted,” she explained. “Humans are social creatures and they have to be able to communicate with other people. “I have these two conflicting things in me and VTubing helped me reconcile that. It’s offered me a lot of opportunities to learn how to socialize more and be more comfortable as myself and sharing myself with others.” It’s an interesting thought — especially for someone like Ironmouse who describes herself as “terminally online” — to have a conflicting view between online persona and real-life identity. There is an Ironmouse that doesn’t stream on Twitch as the embodiment of Satan, but there’s also the one that’s online singing opera and screaming at games. They’re two distinct identities, but they ultimately make up her being: “I see them as parts of a whole. There’s me — I am Ironmouse [the person], but there’s also Ironmouse [the streamer]. There’s two different versions of me. You know the ‘we have three wolves inside of us’ meme? I have like 20,000 wolves.” It wasn’t always that way though. In the early days, Ironmouse did her best to hide her condition. She didn’t stream for hours on end, and the avatar acted as a privacy screen. Once word got out though, it changed the dynamic entirely. “It’s so strange because I get two different things,” Ironmouse said. “For a long time, I didn’t say anything. I got people who didn’t know at all that I was sick and somebody asked me a question one stream and I answered. They were like ‘wait you were sick this whole time?’ “But then, on the other hand, I have the people who are very hyper-aware of my condition and I appreciate their concern — they’re very caring and they want to make sure that I’m okay — but it’s a lot. “I appreciate it because I know they mean well and they aren’t being malicious. It’s just navigating that.” The word ‘parasocial’ gets thrown around a lot in the streaming space in terms of viewers getting close to a streamer in a very one-way relationship. It’s almost become a meme with diehard fans — but Ironmouse knows that feeling better than anyone. Although many people think it’s a one-way street, it’s really not in the eyes of the star VTuber. If it was, she wouldn’t have found a way to absolve herself from that loneliness she’s felt for years. Twitch streaming for her isn’t just screaming out into the void, that social interaction ultimately keeps her sane — although watching her you’d maybe think otherwise. “I’ve said this to chat before: I feel like people are super parasocial all the time. It’s not just VTubing or streaming, it’s everything. I think I’m as parasocial as they are. I love talking to people and the subathon that I did was so much fun and I had such a great time. “I feel streaming helps me a lot. It helps me with stress and it’s very important to me. Interacting with people is important to me. “I don’t see myself as a content creator. I see myself being dumb and people accidentally witnessing stuff and enjoying it. I’m pretty laid back, but trying to find structure at the same time — it’s kind of weird. Call it chaotic good, even though people say I’m chaotic evil that’s not true.” Growing through VTubing Among finding friends and trying to blur out loneliness, VTubing has allowed Ironmouse to explore sides to herself that she wouldn’t have ever dreamed of. Once extroverted, being locked indoors stripped away a lot of that confidence. She could have never dreamed about putting herself out there as an entertainer to just a few people to start. The same goes for blowing up across 2020, and working up towards her record-breaking 31-day subathon that brought in more than 170,000 Twitch subscribers. All those achievements that were once flights of fancy were now tangible. Being able to put on a ‘suit of armor’ in the form of her cute pink-mouse-slash-devil VTuber model and interact with others online — following in the footsteps of idols like Kizuna AI — let Ironmouse grow as a person. “I just really liked what Kizuna AI was doing a lot. She inspired me, but also I always had a fascination with people who were faceless and anonymous, who would create content and put it out there like Corpse. He was faceless for a long time and I thought that was very interesting. It was appealing to me because in real life I’m sick. “In my mind, I don’t have a lot of confidence in myself and I just figured I’d like to make friends — that was the ultimate goal for me, I just wanted to talk to anybody and I didn’t think anything was going to come of it. I just wanted people to want to hang out with me and spend time with me because they thought I was funny and see me for me and not get distracted by my medical situation. It’s complex. Anonymity is wonderful. “The fact you’re playing a character is great too, but the character is me — just a more complete, crazier version of me. I really enjoy it, and who doesn’t want to be a cute anime girl?” It’s been a wild five years, but it all circles around to that one goal of “making friends”. She’s made more than 1 million of them on Twitch if you go by her follower count, but on a more personal level Ironmouse has managed to explore the world from her bedroom. “They’re all from different walks of life. I always used to be afraid of getting close to people but it’s so much easier now and I’m glad that I did [start VTubing] because I’ve met a lot of incredible people.” But even if VTubing success is the one thing everyone can see, finding small glimpses of hope within reality brings an extra level of joy that went long unrealized in her life. “I never used to be able to plan things out or write stuff into a calendar because my life was very unpredictable. Now I can though.” Ironmouse doesn’t see herself as an industry leader — the mere mention of that while I was on call with her left her squealing. But she’s not completely oblivious to her impact, and what’s changed within herself. “For me, I’ve never felt more myself in my life. I’ve never felt more independent. Ironmouse brought the best in me and I’m starting to feel more comfortable with myself. It’s similar to a lot of people. “I’ve spoken to a lot of people who started VTubing who were like ‘man I felt so free and I felt like I could do anything’. It’s like you’re putting on a suit of armor and you become a superhero and you can do things you never thought you could do before.”

Ironmouse shares why she started VTubing & plans for the future – Dexerto
Ironmouse shares why she started VTubing & plans for the future Ironmouse / VShojoIronmouse revealed just how it feels to be nominated for The Game Awards, and her future in an exclusive interview with Dexerto. It might be hard to believe, but VShojo-signed VTuber Ironmouse has been streaming since 2017. Her broadcasting career has taken the pink-haired virtual YouTuber from being bored and lonely to winning The Game Awards‘ Content Creator of the Year. We sat down with Ironmouse a day before The Game Awards 2023, as she signed with Razer for a new partnership. We quizzed the popular VTuber about the nomination: “Oh, it’s crazy,” she admitted. “I didn’t expect to be nominated. It was an insane surprise, but I am truly honored.” Ironmouse continues: “It’s just really surreal to me because, you know, to me, I just think I’m just some anime girl just hanging out, having fun with my community. And to find out that I was nominated, I’m like, ‘Oh my God.’” Ironmouse ended up winning against names like Quackity and SypherPK. She is currently followed by nearly a million people on X/Twitter and regularly pulls in tens of thousands of viewers every time she streams. The Vtuber remains one of the most popular VTubers on Twitch. “I wanted to make friends and I was really lonely” However, Ironmouse hasn’t forgotten where she comes from. As the streamer’s fame grows every passing day, she reflects on her past: “I just started VTubing because I wanted to make friends and I was really lonely, and I just really wanted something to do and find a way to connect with people, because I couldn’t connect with people before,” she told Dexerto. “And I just thought, ‘Okay, well, I’m just gonna hang out with friends on stream and stuff.’” Fame wasn’t something that she thought about, though. Ironmouse still seems bemused by everything: “And then all of a sudden, things just started picking up, and now I’m here. It’s just crazy to think, but I’m super honored and just having the time of my life.” Ironmouse looks to the future: “I hope I make it to my 10th anniversary” But what about Ironmouse in the future? Having just passed her sixth anniversary – a huge deal in the VTubing space – We wanted to know if she had any plans for a tenth anniversary. It took her by surprise. “Oh my god. I hope I make it to my 10th anniversary,” she said. For someone who is effectively an international star, with the backing to do almost anything she sets her sights on, Ironmouse is keeping things small in scope: “Right now I’m just thinking small and I’m thinking about, ‘Oh, what am I gonna do for my seventh anniversary? What am I gonna do for my birthday?’” The VTuber comments: “But I’ve played with the idea of like a 10th anniversary. I don’t know what that looks like, because I think I’m too afraid to like think too much about the future.” Ironmouse’s trepidation is warranted. The VTuber has a realistic view of everything she does: “I don’t know. It’s kind of scary, but I sometimes think about it and I just hope that when the time comes, I’m still doing this and I’m still having a great time and I still love doing what I do. “So I think that’s all that matters, you know?” The VTuber’s win at The Game Awards and recent collaboration with Razer just showcases that while her plans might remain relatively small in scope, her popularity might continue to catapult and open doors.

Ironmouse hits back at Twitch subathon critics claiming her content is “boring” – Dexerto
Ironmouse hits back at Twitch subathon critics claiming her content is “boring” Twitch: IronmouseVShojo star Ironmouse has been entertaining fans for almost a month straight with her subathon. However, that hasn’t stopped Twitch critics claiming her content is “boring.” The VTuber did say she’s not everyone’s ‘cup of tea’ but wants fans to realize why he started streaming in the first place. Ironmouse’s Twitch subathon continues to break Twitch records. The VTuber star — now the third-most subbed to channel in the platform’s history — has been live for 29 days straight as part of the trend of marathon streams. Her rise to prominence has opened viewers’ eyes to the power of VTubers and the growth of the community. However, it’s also drawn criticism from pundits who believe she’s not an entertaining streamer, or that her streams lack planned content. The VShojo member couldn’t care less though. She has admitted her shortfalls but wants those same critics to see the reason why she got into streaming. “I know there were complaints. I saw some complaints about my subathon, complaints about my content, and stuff like that. I’ve never really been the type of person to plan shit out a lot, that’s never been me,” she explained. “To me, streaming is an escape. I just really wanted to have an environment where we could all just feel like we’re hanging out and having fun together, so I’m sorry if I’m not this super-produced, super-entertaining, incredible streamer.” “I know some people have been making comments about that saying ‘she’s not entertaining’, and you know, it’s fine. You can have your opinion, but I’m not streaming for that. I’m streaming because I want to hang out with people, I want to have a good time and laugh. I want to make memories with people.” The subathon has taught Ironmouse a few things about streaming though. Smashing through those records like the Koolaid man, she doesn’t plan on stopping after the timer hits zero. Instead, she’s going to take some of the advice on board — without losing sight on her own unique personality. “I’m slowly learning how to plan because I feel like it’s safe to plan now. I always felt like anything would go wrong at any moment because of my health, but lately I feel more secure making plans. Sometimes I keep them pretty vague, but I feel like finally I can stick to things and do incredible things,” she added. “I never expected to hit any of the milestones that I hit. I’m shocked at 1 million [followers], at the other stuff too. To make it to number three [all-time subs] is insane to me. I am honored to be there.” Day 28 going on 29 a lot of things have happened that I never thought could ever be possible. Thank you to everyone who has been on this journey with me so far. — 💖ironmouse😈VSHOJO💖 (@ironmouse) March 4, 2022 Ironmouse now has a new goal in mind to reach a month in her subathon — the same duration Ludwig reached before he pulled the plug on the original one. However, after that, she’ll be taking a much-deserved break from Twitch to soak in all the memories. “I don’t really have anything planned. I just really don’t know what I’m going to do except express my extreme gratitude and tell people how appreciative I am,” she said. “The fact anybody wants to spend any time with me at all is surprising to me. I don’t feel like a pretty interesting person, I feel like I’m relatively boring, and there’s a lot more people who are way more entertaining with me. “I’ll never forget this month for the rest of my life. I’ll take these memories to my grave.”

Subathon stars Ironmouse & Ludwig explain what they’d change if they did one again – Dexerto
Subathon stars Ironmouse & Ludwig explain what they’d change if they did one again Twitch: Ludwig / Twitch: IronmouseLudwig and Ironmouse took over Twitch with their iconic subathons. However, the two record-breaking streamers admitted the month-long broadcasts were flawed — highlighting two big changes they’d make if they ever did one again. As far as memorable Twitch broadcasts go, Ludwig and Ironmouse’s subathons are among two of the greatest. The first, hosted by the American streamer now on YouTube, took the internet by storm. Broadcasting his life for a month straight to fans, hundreds of thousands became intimately acquainted with how the streamer operated on a daily basis. It broke Twitch records as the streamer peaked with more than 250,000 subscribers, all trying to “raise the timer”. Many followed in his footsteps, but none were more successful than VTuber Ironmouse. The Twitch star pushed her body to stay live for as long as possible. What was expected to be a 48 hour endeavor quickly became a month-long affair as the star stayed live for 31 days — once again breaking Twitch records in the process with more than 100,000 subs. However, in reflection, the two admit the marathon broadcasts were among some of their worst quality-wise. Talking on a July 12 podcast, the duo opened up on what they would change if they were ever to run a subathon again (spoiler: it’s unlikely). “If I were to do a subathon again, I think it would be more Truman show-esque and for charity,” Ludwig explained. “I wouldn’t do one that is just existing like I did last time. “What I realized at the end of the subathon — I went from 20,000 average to 40,000 to 50,000 with 200,000 subs, and then it ended and the next month I was back to 20,000 viewers and lost all the subs. I had zero growth from it. If anything, I actually lost viewers. “Everyone who was watching my stream was watching me just existing, being boring as f**k, having zero content prepared, just trying to see what the clock was at. When the clock was gone they were like ‘oh, what does this guy do? I don’t f**k with that.’” Ludwig even said his subathon was “probably the worst content I’ve ever produced”. “It was cool to be a part of the journey, but every individual day was boring. If I streamed what I did on Day 17 just today, people would be like ‘what the f**k is this stream bro?’ It’s different in the context that it was in.” Ironmouse shared a similar tune to Ludwig. The unstructured nature of both their subathons — brought on by a realization they had woefully underestimated how long they’d last — left them lacking in content. Some viewers claimed it was boring at the time, and looking back that’s a valid criticism. “I got people who were like ‘it was so boring because she didn’t have anything prepared’ and I agree,” Ironmouse added. “A lot of people were criticizing me saying ‘Ludwig’s subathon was so prepared and anything’ and it’s interesting to hear you say you didn’t have anything prepared. “I didn’t expect to last two to three days. My computer was such sh*t that I was afraid to do anything intense with it, so I played it by ear and did whatever came to mind. Now, after I did it, I wish I had prepared more things.” While Ludwig has basically vowed never to do a subathon again — at least in the traditional sense again — Ironmouse is planning a second one whenever she feels well enough to do another marathon broadcast. “I was actually going to do a short one for a week this week while my parents were out of town, but with me being sick and stuff I’ve been knocking out so early I felt bad because I’d do more sleeping than being awake and I felt guilty doing a subathon and being more asleep than awake. “I decided not to do it now and to see if I could do it at another time, but I was going to raise money for the Immune Deficiency Foundation. I was going to do a lot more prepared stuff.”

Ironmouse hits back at criticism over constantly changing VTuber models – Dexerto
Ironmouse hits back at criticism over constantly changing VTuber models Twitch: IronmouseVShojo star Ironmouse has revamped her model yet again, debuting a new look as Satan in time for Halloween. However, some have questioned why she’s changing models yet again. It doesn’t faze Ironmouse, who claimed “variety is the spice of life”. Ironmouse has a lot of VTuber models. The VShojo star likens it to just having a change of clothes as a regular person would, and she does the laundry a lot more frequently than other virtual stars. She went through another change in late 2022, just in time for Halloween, debuting a spooky version of Satan. With bat wings and claws gripping around her body, it was still distinctly Ironmouse with the wavy pink and purple hair and the horns. It didn’t stop some from constantly criticizing the star’s forever-changing look. All that is white noise to Ironmouse though, who said at the end of the day, all the models will always be instantly recognizable as Satan herself. “Listen, here’s the thing. I think all my models look like me,” she said on stream. “There are elements where you can tell it’s me. I’ve been asked questions by people who are like ‘aren’t you worried if you change models so much, people won’t know it’s you?’ Trust me, they’ll know it’s me. “I have my pink and purple hair. I always have hearts, always have horns.” She continued on, talking about how the anime style and all its different off-shoots lends itself to plenty of fan art. With plenty of possibilities — way more than her wardrobe could ever afford her — why wouldn’t see what to change it up regularly? “Variety is the spice of life. If I wanted to look the same I would have become a flesh streamer. I’m f**king anime, why wouldn’t I want to look different all the time? The possibilities are endless.” Ironmouse had some hard words for those critics too: “To be able to wake up and be like ‘oh, I think I want to look like this today;’ it’s fun. Who are you? Opposed to fun? When I see comments like that, to me it’s like ‘wow you must be so fun at parties.’” Her latest model received a rapturous reception upon debut, and it’s her most intricate yet with all the toggles and special effects. However, don’t be surprised if in six months’ time it’s entirely different again as she does the laundry and gets a new change of clothes.

Ironmouse confirms new VShojo members debuting soon, but not in a new “generation” – Dexerto
Ironmouse confirms new VShojo members debuting soon, but not in a new “generation” VShojoAfter nearly a year without expanding, VShojo is getting some new members debuting soon. Ironmouse confirmed as much, but the new VTubers won’t be part of a “generation” like other groups, instead being absorbed into one big family. VShojo isn’t the biggest VTuber group out there, but the eight members have had a major influence on Twitch. From the rapid rise of stars like Veibae, to Ironmouse’s mega subathon breaking records, the group is here to stay for the long term. However, outside of Veibae’s addition early in 2021, the group hasn’t grown since its 2020 debut. That’s set to change though, with Ironmouse confirming new VShojo members will be joining soon. There is a catch though: there won’t be any new “generations”. Instead, new VShojo talents will be part of one big family. “I’m excited because VShojo will be getting new members soon. We won’t be doing generations — we don’t do that sort of thing, the family just gets larger if you know what I mean,” Mouse said during her subathon. Viewers hounded Ironmouse asking the VTuber to tease who would be joining. However, she kept her lips sealed. “I’m not sure who it’s going to be, but I’m sure that when they are announced we’ll all show them love and I’ll be really happy and we can all celebrate together. New friends are always fun,” she laughed. “I don’t know who they are yet, but I think we might know soon. I can’t tell you guys who it is! I’ll get in trouble!” It’s unclear exactly how many new members will be joining VShojo at once, but the VTuber section on Twitch is about to get bigger very soon.

How Ironmouse and CDawgVA’s special bond came to be – Dexerto
How Ironmouse and CDawgVA’s special bond came to be Twitch: CDawgVA / IronmouseIronmouse and Connor ‘CDawgVA’ Colquhoun are Twitch’s most wholesome streaming duo. There is no one pairing that gets more praise and love from the community. Though never before have they sat down, in the same interview, to share what it truly means to them. At this point, you’d be excused for thinking Ironmouse and Connor have known each other their whole lives. As far as streaming power duos go, they’re one of the biggest. Metrics alone show they have more than two million Twitch followers combined, four million subscribers on YouTube, and many millions more across all other social media platforms. They are two of the largest personalities in streaming, both in stature and in character. Mouse has long flown the chaotic gremlin flag in the VTubing community, known for her loud nature and hilarious antics — cut through with an operatic singing voice. Connor is at times more mellow and reserved, but the ‘monke’ does come out in front of the camera. But it’s the chemistry they have together, both on and off-screen, that truly unites them. And since their communities crossed paths three years ago (asking them how it came to be will give you differing answers), they’ve become the one duo everyone champions for that reason. Interviewing them in isolation gives you one result as to what their special bond means. When speaking to Ironmouse last year for a different feature, you could feel the blush through the microphone when his name was mentioned. Connor, on the other hand, has always sung her praises as a creator and friend. Locking them in a room together is an entirely different experience though. You truly get a sense for their energies, and how well they bounce off each other. Everything you see on stream, it’s exactly like that behind closed doors. The mannerisms, the jokes, the light jabs, and even the sentimental moments. And you truly begin to understand the gravity of what they both mean to each other. The beginning of Twitch’s most wholesome friendship It’s a story both have told on stream many times. Just breaking the ice with this question elicits a chuckle out of both of them, before Mouse pesters Connor to open the account. “I was informed about VTubers from my co-host of the Trash Taste podcast, Garnt,” he explained to Dexerto, “but honestly, I thought a lot of it was kind of lame. “I didn’t really think much of [VTubing], but I saw it [keep growing] around the same time after they told me about it. You know I wanted to try and learn more about it, cause I felt that my viewpoint was based on nothing other than just gut feeling and gut reaction. “I saw Mouse streaming on Twitch and she was pretty big, and so I was like, ‘Oh, I’ll check this person out.’ And Mouse is really funny. “Shortly after that, we had Mori Calliope on our podcast and it was cool getting to talk to her. Afterwards, I mentioned on the podcast that I watched Ironmouse a few times and that I thought she was funny, and then I guess Mouse reacted to that.” There was a bit of bickering over what was actually said: “I remember when he talked about me on his podcast,” Mouse chimed in. “So many people came into my chat like ‘Oh my god, Mouse, you’re not gonna believe this. Connor was talking about you.’ “I’m like, ‘who?’” she cackles. “And then they’re like, ‘Connor from Trash Taste.’ And I’m like…” There’s also some to-and-fro about the actual timeline. Connor had been lurking in Mouse’s streams in late 2020 — Ironmouse also returned the favor by begrudgingly sitting through the Welshman’s Apex Legends addiction with a vibe of “someone save this man” — then they did their first proper bit of content when he invited her to voice act in a video of his. Behind the scenes, they had been chatting about playing games, and Ironmouse extended an invite to Connor to join her on Lewdcast with Projekt Melody. There was a tentative air like most relationships in the streaming world. But once the snowball started rolling, the two really found a genuine connection. “Mouse is really chaotic, and I’m pretty good at being like the straight man in a lot of situations,” Connor explained. “I find that I’m pretty comfortable bouncing off people who are more energetic than me. We got on call, and it was just really fun. Mouse is really very fun to bounce off. “When I did the dub thing for you, and we started talking, I noticed that we had a lot of things in common, and we vibed off of each other really well,” Mouse continued. “I felt like I’ve known him for a long time, even though we just really started talking. “It’s very hard to find people that can keep up with my pace, so it was very refreshing to meet somebody that’s able to push my buttons and really challenge me, and just be a very cool friend.” Twitch’s transactional nature, and how Ironmouse and Connor broke it Content creation is an isolating place. Being a streamer means a lot of the relationships you build, even if they’re friendly, are almost always transactional. The best way to hang out with your acquaintances, or even friends, is to hop on each other’s streams and provide content. That’s something Connor and Mouse both noted when it comes to many collabs they’ve previously had individually. But after a while, when you’re at the top of the content game, you throw that mentality to the wayside and hope you find a like-minded creator. That played out perfectly for them. “You just start to value good connections more than any kind of mutual benefit to growth, or whatever any other metric,” Connor said. “After a set amount of time, you just stop caring about what makes the most sense, I just wanna hang out with people I like hanging out with. “People just valued the real connection [between us]. In an age where I think a lot of people online don’t have them, or try to manufacture them. And I think that it’s just worked out for us.” “I know a lot of people,” Mouse continued, “they do collabs and stuff because they’re like ‘Oh this is a good collab, it’ll be good for my streaming career.’ But I’ve just always been the type of person where it’s like, if I don’t vibe with the person I really can’t hang out with them a lot. “Being genuine is good. People like that it just happened. And I’m really glad it happened, cause I think you’re cool, Connor.” It didn’t take long for them to click. Connor hummed and hawed on his own answer, but Mouse was quick to chime in. “Our first stream, I knew,” she asserted. “I knew because when we had our first collab, I was sad when it was over.” “I’ll just go with that then,” he then followed on. Mouse didn’t really take that as an answer. “No you can’t just copy my answer! You should have an answer! Sit down and really look into yourself and think ‘Oh when did I think Mouse is so cool we should totally be best friends?’” The two devolved into laughter yet again — only about 10 minutes into the interview at this point, this was about the fifth or sixth time they’d done just that. Connor didn’t find a new response for himself though: “It was kind of like, you do those collabs and you’re like ‘Oh that was really fun.’ Mouse just had her brand of intensity that was very apparent. And I was like ‘Okay, that’s a lot,’ but that was fun. “Wait a minute. What is that supposed to mean?” Mouse asked. “Back then, Mouse was known as the craziest VTuber around,” he replied, really emphasizing the crazy. “So I was like ‘what? Be normal?’ Everyone just knew Mouse as intense and crazy.” “What are you trying to say? That I’m boring now?” she exclaimed. It’s this dynamic that really fostered a fandom around them unlike any other on Twitch. Their two audiences, while previously not overlapping so much, are basically unified. Even those who are on the periphery know about their camaraderie. For them, this is both a blessing and a curse at times. The intensity of the fandom is both quite endearing and intimidating. “People start picking apart everything. And you’re like ‘It’s cool that people care’ but sometimes you’re like ‘Oh my god, they care a little too much,’” Connor laughed. “I was really worried at first, because you know how it is in VTubing,” Mouse continued. “‘Mousey shouldn’t talk to men,’ blah blah blah, ‘especially a fleshtuber.’ I was a little wary. “But thankfully, my audience was very receptive, and they were already fans of Trash Taste, anyway. So it worked out in the end. We have something really cool and something unique going on. And I like it.” Making memories on stream Really, since their first interaction three years ago, not a lot has changed for Ironmouse and Connor. They still banter with each other the same way — probably even more so in reality. They bounce ideas off each other, and come together to make for one of streaming’s more unique duo experiences. But there are some specific memories that stand out in their minds. The first, and most obvious, is the IRL streams. Connor first took Ironmouse for a walk around Tokyo in January 2022. There were plenty of cute moments, laughter, and tears as the Welshman showed her the sights of Japan, with a healthy dose of crane games in between. “That kind of really, in my mind, utilized, I guess the unique position that we’re in to its fullest and showing off,” Connor explained. “Given Mouse’s condition, Mouse can’t exactly just stroll outside. “I think that the fact we’re both Twitch streamers… it was like 15 Venn diagrams, and it all worked out perfectly in the middle of that. It was like, ‘Oh, this is the best of every single unique aspect of this situation that we’re in.’” It was so popular that even the notorious LivestreamFail community on Reddit couldn’t say a bad word. “I remember when they told me ‘Oh my God, Mouse, your clip is on LSF,’ and I’m like, ‘dear God, no,’” she laughed. “And then I went to go look, and I was like ‘what the hell? People are nice?’ Since then, there’s been plenty more IRL streams. If Connor is on tour with Trash Taste (he’s currently in Europe at the time of writing), he turns on an IRL stream and Ironmouse is usually there with him reacting along. If there’s an experience Mouse wants to try, like going to Sanrio Puroland or the Sailor Moon Museum, Connor will go out of his way to share it. As he sees it, it’s no water off his back, but it’s plenty meaningful to the house-bound satan of Twitch. “I think it’s really nice. I think you’re already a very open guy,” she confessed. “You’re always willing to try new things, but it’s so cool to see you try things that are just so far from your own bubble, because you are doing this for me, and it means a lot to me. “I think if anything, if my channel is anything to go off of, I’m open for trying anything and reserving judgment until I’ve tried it,” he answered. “It was cool getting to do some of the stuff that I normally wouldn’t do as well. And that I would only do it because I’m showing Mouse around or Mouse has an interest in it.” One of the more special moments in recent memory was the visit to Disneyland following Anime Expo 2023. The duo had done a panel at the convention — which was a sellout with queues whirling around the venue from as early as 8AM — and as a celebration, they went to The Happiest Place on Earth. While Ironmouse didn’t play favorites to any particular experience, seeing the fireworks break over the castle brought her to tears. “I cried during that time,” she screamed. “I felt like I was there, and it was so beautiful. I just never thought I’d be able to see Disneyland. So this is really nice. Thank you for taking me. Connor tried to deflect some of the praise to VShojo — who helped him with the tech as well as CEO Justin ‘theGunrun’ Ignacio and other staffers like Panini joining Connor on the day — but Mouse didn’t really let that one slide. “Listen. I love VShojo. VShojo does a lot for me, but you also made it happen because you were there. They wouldn’t have gone if you weren’t there. It was a team effort, because we’re a team! Are we not?” That teamwork now works its way into all their content. Whether it be Mouse reacting in a basket attached to Connor’s bike during his mega cyclethons, or playing games together, they find a way to include each other. Sure, they’re still independent creators, but where’s the fun in going solo? Especially after being stuck in the isolated world of content? “I love the fact that he played my favorite Final Fantasy game, Final Fantasy 8, even though he freaking hates those types of games,” Mouse continued. “He always talks sh*t about those types of games. But he sat down and he played it, and he liked it. “What an open individual, truly a standout guy.” There was a third wheel that had to be thrown into the equation though. When Bubi, the straight-speaking archdemon that shares a lot of similarities with the Welsh streamer, was brought into the conversation, the two broke out into hysterics. “He kind of does his thing, you know,” Mouse laughed. “He’s kind of really busy right now, so he’s off doing his own thing, taking care of his own stuff. “I think he told me he’s gonna do another [song] with me. Isn’t that cool Connor?” “Terrifying,” he replied. “What,” Mouse quipped back. “I’m going to tell him you said that.” Doing good together Connor isn’t just there taking Ironmouse on experiences she otherwise wouldn’t discover. The two are pushing forward a huge cause — awareness of primary immunodeficiencies. Mousey is probably the face of common variable immunodeficiency (CVID). It was a condition she once did her best to hide on stream, even to the point of masking the noises of oxygen cylinders. Her solo work before Connor came along helped to spread the word. But it really kicked off when he started taking on more and more charity work with his cyclethons and his charity auction. Combined he’s raised more than $1 million for the Immune Deficiency Foundation. Their platform reaches hundreds of thousands, if not millions, and has shined a spotlight on a once-obscure condition. “It’s such a hard thing to diagnose, and it’s such an impossible task to kind of figure out that you have it in the first place until a lot of damage has been done, unfortunately,” Connor stated. “When you have a personal connection and there is a personal story that goes along with a charity and charitable events, I think it makes it a lot more compelling to people watching and getting people involved. “I think that it’s very helpful that we both have this giant audience on Twitch combined that allows us to tap into a huge number of people. Twitch is just a giant gateway into letting these huge charity events happen.” Connor, however, doesn’t have to live with it daily. He is perfectly able and fit. Which makes his involvement in the cause that bit more meaningful for Ironmouse, who was used to traveling this path alone before VTubing. “It’s really nice to be able to see so many people tweet at me every time I donate plasma, which is something I never saw before,” she explained. “I was afraid to talk about my disease before, when I first started streaming. I just didn’t feel comfortable. “It’s just really nice to see the reception that everyone has given me, and the fact that people wanna know more about it, and people wanna donate plasma, and people wanna help out because it’s a rare disease, and not a lot of people know about it. “It touches my heart a lot that out of anything that he could have supported, he decided to help me and help people like me, and that just really means a lot to me. I never expected any of this.” It’s yet another layer on the complex and deep relationship between the duo. “It’s just kind of like the perfect Venn diagram of 15 things again where it all kind of works out perfectly that these causes, in this time right now, on this platform with the audience,” he stated. “It just really makes sense to really tap into that. “Me and Mouse have always done a lot of charity work, and so it also just works out really nicely.” The singular ‘monke’ and ‘gremlin’ braincell It’s those shared moments like those that highlight how the two have picked up parts of each other’s personality too. Connor noted how Mouse has taught him compassion and consideration in spades: “With Mouse’s conditions, there’s some accommodations you’ve gotta make when we’re gaming or something,” Connor said. “It’s made me have to be a lot more considerate about that kind of stuff that I’ve never [been before]. I’m perfectly able and it’s just not something that I ever had to think about and it’s definitely made me a more compassionate person than that aspect.” And on Mousey’s side, there’s been plenty of growth in that department too. She has basically blown up on Twitch alongside the Welshman. And they were by each other’s side for that journey. Through that path and that grind, Connor was Ironmouse’s voice of support and reason. “I think through his help, I’m going to be honest, he’s given me the confidence to be more open about myself on stream,” she said. “And I’m kinda slowly coming around to be more accepting and open, and just sharing more about myself, which I used to keep private all the time. “And it’s because of you, so thank you.” It’s not just on the personality front but on the content front too. Yes, Connor has dove into many topics that align with Mouse’s interests, but even she’s picked up a few pointers from the voice actor extraordinaire. “He’s given me content brain,” Mouse explained. “I never used to think about making content. I was just like, ‘Yeah, I’m just going to stream for fun and just hang out and talk to friends.’ “That sounds like I have ulterior motives for streaming,” Connor chimed in. “No but you are a content brain,” she continued, “and you’re so open about it too. Don’t act like this is a secret. You say it all the time. You just help me tap into my more creative side. And like you’ve helped me believe in myself, and encourage me to do different things.” As the conversation winds down, it dawns just how big an influence they’ve had on each other. But also just how the time has flown by over these three years, and what the future holds for them. The content really won’t stop between the two. The IRL streams, the charity events, and the random Discord calls at all times of day will continue for as long as time permits. And there’s no set path, just going with the flow. But there is one big goal on the list: “And maybe one day we can have a beer,” Mouse quips. “That would be nice,” Connor replied. “That’s my goal.” “Is it really your goal,” Mouse follows up, with a heavy dose of want in her voice. The two nodded their confirmations. But they had one more thing to do before heading their separate ways, for now. I asked them to say something genuine to one another at the end. Just a nice salutation to sign off on. Connor kept it very simple: “Thank you Mouse, for always being my friend, always supporting me, and being a great friend on this journey.” Mouse broke out into laughter before faintly whispering “Oh my god, Jesus, you really mean that?” She had the final word though: “Well, I just wanna say thank you Connor for being my friend on this journey, and for never letting me push you away,” before both scoffed a little bit at that last remark. “Sometimes it’s like… I don’t know. I’m just really grateful that we’re friends. And it’s just really nice to have somebody that gets it and gets you. And I really appreciate you, Connor.”

Ironmouse breaks down as CDawg raises $300k for charity helping her condition – Dexerto
Ironmouse breaks down as CDawg raises $300k for charity helping her condition Twitch: IronmouseVtubing star Ironmouse started to get choked up during her livestream as she thanked her fellow streamer CDawgVA for raising $300,000 for The Immune Deficiency Foundation. With 1.3 million followers on Twitch, Ironmouse has established herself as one of the most successful Vtubers in the community. Not to mention, she’s also gained a fiercely loyal fanbase throughout her career thanks to her incredible content and her dedication to keep streaming despite her illnesses. The Twitch star suffers from common variable immunodeficiency (CVID) as well as a lung condition. Understandably, when her friend and fellow streamer Connor ‘CDawgVA’ Colquhoun went on a charity bike ride to raise money for a foundation related to her condition, she became overwhelmed with emotion. Ironmouse moved by CDawgVA’s charitable gesture CDawg finally completed his 500-mile bike ride livestream around Japan on September 5, having raised $300k for The Immune Deficiency Foundation. In the lead-up to its conclusion, Ironmouse expressed her gratitude and described how “really proud” she was of him as well as the people who supported his journey. “Honestly, it means the world to me that Connor’s doing this,” she explained. “When he told me that he was doing this I cried a lot […] because it was just a surprise that someone would go out of their way to do something so incredible, selfless, and so taxing on the body.” As Ironmouse started to get choked up, she explained it was particularly moving given how Connor was raising money “for a cause that not a lot of people know about.” The Immune Deficiency Foundation was “special” for her as it was “there” in the early days of her diagnosis and when she was “really scared” because she “didn’t know what the f**k was going on.” Connor and Ironmouse have had fans swooning over their wholesome friendship and Connor’s latest kind gesture has helped fuel the fire.

Ironmouse calls for help after finding TikTok account impersonating her – Dexerto
Ironmouse calls for help after finding TikTok account impersonating her YouTube: ironmouseStar VTuber Ironmouse is asking the internet for help after discovering an account on TikTok impersonating her. Ironmouse is one of the most popular VTubers (virtual YouTubers) on the internet. In fact, she was one of the most-watched female streamers on Twitch in 2022, and broke subscriber records on the site with her viral 31-day subathon that same year. Most recently, she wowed fans with a 3D concert where she even debuted her own original song. Her meteoric rise as a VTuber is only compounded by her cheerful personality, her talent for singing, and bringing awareness to her debilitating health condition, Common Variable Immunodeficiency. As such, it makes sense that Ironmouse has quite a few fans on social media… but it looks like some netizens are taking things a step too far. Ironmouse calls out TikTok account for impersonating her Unfortunately, being a top-tier influencer isn’t all sunshine and roses. For Ironmouse, one of the latest difficulties to come as a result of her career is dealing with an impersonator, who she discovered was copying her content on TikTok. The account boasts over 22,000 followers and has over 190,000 likes — but a key difference between this phony profile and the OG is a simple “i” at the end of their username. That’s not all; the fake profile’s bio also serves to dupe some unsuspecting viewers, reading: “New Account. Hey I’m your cringe demon queen. Official ironmouse, Catch me on Twitch.” “UHH… This is not me,” Ironmouse wrote in a tweet on May 25. “@TikTokSupport I tried reporting to get it taken down, but nothing has been done.” Ironmouse has received an outpouring of support from fans and even other VTubers in the comments — but unfortunately, at the time of writing, the fake account is still up and running. On the opposite end of this spectrum, Ed Sheeran lookalike Ty Jones got booted from TikTok for allegedly impersonating the ‘Shape of You’ singer, even though is profile made it crystal clear that he’s not the British superstar.

IRL YouTube streamer blasted for catcalling a 15-year-old girl – Dexerto
IRL YouTube streamer blasted for catcalling a 15-year-old girl Prince Aladdin, YouTube / HerCampusThanks to the advent of IRL streaming, internet personalities are now able to broadcast their everyday lives and social outings for viewers to see – but these outings don’t always end on wholesome notes, as evidenced by one streamer’s cringe-inducing interaction with a father during a June 28 live stream. An IRL YouTube streamer known as ‘Prince Aladdin’ was broadcasting his evening out in Hollywood when he began catcalling a young woman, who was walking along the sidewalk out of frame of the camera. Clearly inebriated, the streamer asked the girl where she was going, addressing her as a “little blondie” and a “little Taylor Swift looking-ass bitch.” 600However, Prince Aladdin’s comments didn’t go uncontested: he was approached by an older man shortly thereafter, who was quick to inform the streamer of the girl’s age. “She’s fifteen, dude,” the man can be heard saying, to which Prince Aladdin asked, “Then why is she out this late, bro?” “Why is she out this late?” the man retorted. “Because we were out on a father-daughter date at dinner.” The streamer then apologized, claiming that he wasn’t trying to disrespect them – but that explanation didn’t appease the father, who got in Aladdin’s face with a stern warning. “If I were you, I would just shut the fuck up,” he threatened, walking away as the streamer apologized once more. The streamer was later berated for his actions by another passerby, who claimed that he would have done the same thing, if the streamer had hit on his daughter. “He has every right, bro, that’s his daughter,” the man said. “I would have done the same shit. …he can do whatever he wants.” [Altercation begins at 1:17:31] The streamer’s altercation with the father stirred up a slew of backlash online, with commenters decrying his actions across Reddit. “Imagine having a nice meal with your dad and then the day gets ruined by some random asshole on the street,” one user wrote of the incident. “Worst kind of a streamer/content creator,” another commented. “No personality and no talent so he has to bother and shout at people for content.”

Ironmouse asks fans to stop dictating VTubers’ lives after Mori Calliope collab – Dexerto
Ironmouse asks fans to stop dictating VTubers’ lives after Mori Calliope collab Twitch: IronmouseThere was an “elephant in the room” when Ironmouse and Mori Calliope came together for a huge collab on the former’s podcast Speak of the Devil — fan sentiment from the Hololive side. However, Ironmouse spoke out about the overbearing fan behavior. The VTubing world can be vicious at times. While these virtual stars are often given some level of autonomy (or completely, depending on status within an agency), the scene’s roots in Japanese idol culture can lead to some audience complications. Some fans can be quite overbearing over their favorite stars — and while sometimes it’s just for fun, others can take it to the next level. Trying to dictate who their favorite collabs with, how they act: they don’t ultimately set the rules, but the pressure is definitely there. So when VShojo’s Ironmouse had Hololive star (and self-proclaimed dad) Mori Calliope on her podcast, eyes were on how the two would act on broadcast — especially with how Mousey treats Calli. However, Iron went out of her way to address the “elephant in the room” early, asking fans to stop dictating the lives of their favorite virtual star. “I’m sick and tired of not talking about this — every time I talk to a Hololive girl, everyone gets pissed at me. It always happens, and I know why. We all know why,” she said. “Lately I’ve seen comments on YouTube where it’s like ‘Ironmouse is fine, she knows how to behave around the Hololive girls’ and… I think I just destroyed everyone’s opinion now with what I’ve just said. “Sometimes I just want to talk and say things because I say stuff, I have eyeballs, and you’re my friend. We’re friends. But I feel like sometimes people don’t believe that people are friends, like friendship is dead.” The relevant segment begins at 9:54. The sentiment was backed up by Calli. The two come from very different agencies — Hololive stars do play a character somewhat while VShojo gives full creative control over. If fans don’t like it if Calli interacts with others outside of Hololive in a specific way though, tough luck. “Not liking it is one thing, but going out of your way to be a dick [is another]. [You ask] why don’t you do something else and then people respond with something edgy like ‘it’s about sending a message’ — some Joker sh*t,” she said, responding to some more general criticisms about the community. “They’re entitled to their opinions. If you don’t like me I get it. I just don’t care.” While Calli did admit speaking out against fan behavior can be “kind of unsavory” and that she has “reel it in sometimes and keep things between friends when I really want to go off,” the duo’s statement got the support of Twitch chat who were watching along. Calli also stated “as long as [she’s] chill”, it’s all good from a management perspective. It can be hard to ignore the negative sentiment online, Mouse added, but she ultimately just wants fans to treat those behind the avatar like real humans — because they are.

IRL YouTube streamer appears to be mugged mid-broadcast – Dexerto
IRL YouTube streamer appears to be mugged mid-broadcast An IRL (in real life) streamer appears to have been robbed in a random, unprovoked attack, while live in a December 10 YouTube stream. IRL streamers can find themselves in some weird and wacky situations, able to seek out the funniest, strangest, best and worst of the area that they’re streaming in, all in the name of entertainment. You’ll often see it bring some odd scenarios to the live stream, with the camera seeming to draw some of the quirkiest people out of the woodwork. But this IRL stream took a dark turn as the streamer was walking down a secluded alley late at night. Streamer LivewithEvan, who previously created content with the likes of IRL streaming juggernaut Paul ‘IcePoseidon’ Denino, was streaming on his YouTube channel late at night, walking through his city in search of food and chatting with his viewers. All seemed fine until Evan turned down a dark alley after a tip-off from some strangers on where to find good tacos, when a figure ran up from behind and seemingly attacks Evan, with all footage going haywire afterward. The alleged attacker’s face is unclear due to the lighting, but they appear to be wearing a ski mask to protect their identity anyway. After being attacked, the footage goes hazy and there’s a lot of muffled noise before the stream completely shuts off. At the time of writing, Evan’s condition is unknown and he has not yet publicly spoken about what happened. Naturally, people were immediately concerned, with some commenters on Reddit asking if he’s okay and expressing how scary the situation was. This isn’t the first and probably won’t be the last time we see IRL streamers in dangerous positions – just a week prior to this, another streamer was repeatedly punched by a man whose girlfriend seemed to take a liking to him. With any luck, Evan may be able to use the footage to bring his attacker to justice.

IRL YouTube streamer gets racist donation alert on public train – Dexerto
IRL YouTube streamer gets racist donation alert on public train BjornTV, YouTube / FreepikAs live streaming platforms like Twitch and YouTube continue to grow in popularity, more and more netizens are using the sites to broadcast their everyday lives as they go about their business – but sometimes, these platforms can bring out the worst in people, as evidenced by one streamer’s cringe-inducing July broadcast. Live streaming software like OBS allows both Twitch and YouTube streamers alike to create custom donation alerts, which sound off when viewers decide to drop a little cash on their favorite internet personalities. However, some of these donation alerts can become problematic, as one YouTube streamer demonstrated on a public train on July 20. Viewers can support their favorite streamers by dropping a tip with a special message – but sometimes, the alerts for these donations can get problematic. Live streamer ‘BjornTV’ was traveling in a train when an incredibly loud donation alert sounded as he was streaming, which featured a man shouting a racial slur over and over again in a seemingly never ending tirade. As if the donation alert wasn’t offensive enough, the streamer walked into another car of the train while the alert sounded, prompting unamused looks from the other passengers. Rather than muting the sound, BjornTV continued to let the alert play, later admitting that he wanted viewers to donate so that it would continue to sound off. “I want you to note to donate, that the N-word keeps on,” he whispered into the camera after sipping a beer. Bjorn’s chat even appeared to enable his offensive behavior, with some commenters asking other viewers to donate and even telling Bjorn to turn up the donation alert’s volume. This wouldn’t be the first time a donation alert has landed a streamer in hot water, by far: while Bjorn has yet to receive a ban from YouTube, one IRL streamer was arrested and hit with $75,000 in bail after a fake bomb alert sounded while he was in a room full of people. Although Bjorn has yet to publish a statement regarding his offensive donation sound, the “bomb alert” streamer was charged with a Class B felony and faced up to ten years in prison for the false alarm.

IRL Twitch streamer stunned after driving into LA street fight – Dexerto
IRL Twitch streamer stunned after driving into LA street fight Twitch/JakeNBakeAn IRL Twitch streamer’s drive through LA’s Koreatown turned violent after a brutal street fight randomly broke out. Twitch star JakeNBake was driving around the city in search of some Boba also known as Bubble Tea, when fisticuffs started flying between two men in the middle of the road. The streamer, who is home in America after spending many years in Japan, was shocked to see two men engage in combat. “Are they fighting? Holy sh*t,” he swore as he drove closer. “Oh, sh*t! Those guys are fighting.” Right as Jake pulled in on the exchange, a man in black shorts appeared to land a nasty right hook to his hoodie-wearing adversary. All while this was going on, people on a restaurant patio to the right watched as the two continued their fight, not wanting to interfere. Eventually, the man in the hoodie got right into the other individual’s face and was met with another big right hand, leaving Jake to wonder how he should proceed. “What should I do?” he asked out loud. “What the f**k? Uh, that guy’s shirt’s all ripped. What happened?” From there, the man in the hoodie seemed to get back into his car, leading some in chat to suspect that this could have been a vehicle or road rage-related incident. “I kinda wanna get out of here. I don’t know what those guys are going to do,” Jake decided. “I don’t want them to pull out some crazy sh*t.” Jake was able to successfully leave the area, but addressed his chat while in the parking lot nearby. “That guy got clocked twice,” he said, suggesting it was very one-sided. You never really know what you’re going to get during an IRL stream, but at least the streamer managed to stay safe during a really nasty turn of events.

IRL Twitch streamer terrified after experiencing earthquake during broadcast – Dexerto
IRL Twitch streamer terrified after experiencing earthquake during broadcast Twitch streamer StaysafeTV captured a magnitude 6.1 earthquake live during an IRL stream at a shopping center in Taiwan. Earthquakes are nothing to play around with and partnered streamer StaysafeTV experienced that first hand. He was doing an IRL stream in Taipei, the capital of Taiwan, on April 17 inside of a shopping center when he received an alert on his phone that indicated an earthquake was happening at that very moment. The streamer was right in the middle of an earthquake “What the fuck, Presidential Alerts,” StaySafeTV said. “What in the fuck is going on? This is a fuckin’ earthquake. Uhhh, ok, let’s get underneath this thing. Dude, Jesus Christ. Despite the ongoing threat of an earthquake, he managed to remain unharmed and it looked like everyone in the surrounding area looked fine as well. Surprisingly enough, it looked like the people around him continued to operate business as usual and appeared to be unphased by what was going on. IRL Twitch streamer gets phone snatched out of hands in scary moment – Dexerto
IRL Twitch streamer gets phone snatched out of hands in scary moment Twitch: DailyDasherIRL Twitch streamer ‘DailyDasher’ had his phone stolen right out of his hands while live on stream in Brazil. IRL live streaming continues to become more and more popular. With such uncertainty of what could happen at any time during a broadcast, millions of viewers tune in every day. However, streamers find themselves in some pretty terrifying or sometimes even dangerous situations while on their adventures. Over the years, we’ve seen creators have heated confrontations with the public, which can escalate to life-threatening situations. Streamers have even been robbed of their belongings while wandering the streets, which is exactly what happened to DailyDasher during a recent broadcast. Twitch streamer’s phone stolen out of hands in Brazil While exploring the city of Rio de Janeiro, IRL live streamer ‘DailyDasher’ had his phone stolen right out of his hands. During the February 18 broadcast, the Twitch streamer was traveling in a taxi, where he was approached by a young woman when the car stopped moving. After striking a conversation with the woman, suddenly, she reached into the vehicle and snatched his phone right out of his hands. “She took my phone,” the streamer exclaimed. “Okay, she took my phone. Okay, hold on,” he said as he hurried to get out of the car. The streamer then attempted to chase the thief down, although he was met with no luck finding her. “F**k man, I thought she was nice,” he added. This isn’t the first time we’ve seen a creator being robbed live, and it likely won’t be the last either. Similarly, IRL Twitch streamer Jinny recently chased down a thief who stole her phone out of her hands while walking around the streets of Argentina.

IRL Twitch streamer stuck on broken roller coaster while live – Dexerto
IRL Twitch streamer stuck on broken roller coaster while live CookSux | TwitchIRL Twitch streamer CookSux got on a roller coaster in Vietnam only to find out that the safety bar wasn’t working properly. He was stuck on the rickety ride until it was over. Twitch has no shortage of wild moments from IRL streamers. From people getting their phones stolen while streaming to people pretending to have their phones stolen while streaming, there’s a whole spectrum of bizarre happenings on the platform. CookSux has been IRL streaming for years, and he often travels to different parts of the world to give his viewers a glimpse of his adventures around the globe. However, when he decided to check out an amusement park in Vietnam, he discovered that the roller coaster wasn’t working properly. He was able to easily lift the safety bar meant to keep him in place. With the roller coaster already moving, he was stuck on the ride. CookSux rides malfunctioning roller coaster while live on Twitch Despite everything that happens when IRL Twitch streamers are live, it’s rare that someone’s life is in danger. However, CookSux wound up landing himself in a difficult situation. After getting on a roller coaster in Vietnam, he noticed that the safety bar wasn’t locked in place. This meant that only the seatbelt was keeping him on the ride. He quickly scanned the coaster to see if any loops or parts would put him upside down on the ride ahead before bracing himself. Cook said right at the top of the coaster “I feel like my body could fly out of this seat at any moment.” His chat began spamming things like “last stream” and “Final Destination” as he went through the ride. He screamed “This thing is not safe!” as he made his speedy descent. Fortunately, it was a pretty tame roller coaster and a quick ride. He told staff at the park that it was broken, to which they replied “no lock”, nodded, and laughed. You can find the full roller coaster ride in the VoD on his Twitch channel at around the 2:25 mark.

IRL Twitch streamer calls out kids being racist to him on stream – Dexerto
IRL Twitch streamer calls out kids being racist to him on stream Twitch/joeykaotykA Twitch streamer checking out Portugal went out of his way to educate some kids after he caught them making racist remarks. With more and more streamers returning to traveling the world, IRL broadcasts have picked up once again and the Twitch community is loving it. As streamers such as Jinny and JakeNBake document their travel adventures, there are often some shenanigans afoot, and that’s what happened during a recent broadcast. Popular streamer ‘JOEYKAOTYK’ was in Porto on February 14 when he started checking out some items in a store window, but things soon took a sour turn when he heard some kids make racist comments. Twitch streamer teaches kids on field trip not to be racist As the streamer peered into the shop, he turned his attention to a group of kids who appeared to be on a field trip after he heard a racist comment in the background – something that streamers sometimes have to deal with. “What?!” he roared as he approached the youngsters. “What did you say? What did you call me? Don’t say that, it’s bad.” Joey went on to explain that he heard one of the boys say “ching chong” and told a young boy not to call him that, which the lad appeared to understand and acknowledge. “Don’t say that! Thank you. Bye-bye!” the streamer waved as the kids went on their way. Users in Joey’s Twitch chat applauded how he handled the situation, calling him “based” and cheered him on for “educating” the youth. Whether or not the lesson will stick with the school kids remains to be seen, but if anything, the fact Joey was able to remain so calm is certainly something that his chat absolutely appreciated.

IRL Twitch streamer catches drunk man groping female bystander – Dexerto
IRL Twitch streamer catches drunk man groping female bystander One IRL Twitch streamer was left shocked after he caught a drunken man approach and grope an unsuspecting female bystander during his recent broadcast in Japan. Twitch is a breeding ground for inappropriate matters, with people having sex on stream, talking about NSFW body parts, and more. But the said unsavory content was taken to another level when one IRL streamer caught a drunken man groping an innocent female bystander during his recent broadcast in Japan. What did the IRL streamer see? It is unclear as to who the streamer is, since the Twitch video was removed by the user and reuploaded onto alternative streaming platform Streamable. But it doesn’t change the fact that the clip is downright shocking – an emotion the IRL broadcaster expressed profusely upon seeing it happen. In the video, the drunk man knew he was being filmed and made hand gestures for the camera, before pointing to a couple in front of him. “No! Don’t do that! Don’t do that, dude!” the streamer warned upon figuring out the perpetrator’s intentions. This didn’t stop him though, as he then proceeded to run up behind the unsuspecting female and grope her butt without her consent or permission. Her boyfriend was NOT happy The woman’s suspected boyfriend was not happy with what occurred, as is to be expected if a random drunk man had just grabbed your girlfriend’s ass. He swings around and makes his partner hold their umbrella as he turns on the defensive and appears to physically threaten the guy. Two of the intoxicated man’s friends got between the pair and stopped a fist fight from breaking out. “What was that, dude?! What was that?!” the IRL streamer exclaimed as everyone began to walk away. The drunk man wasn’t finished with the situation though, and shouted something in Japanese to the boyfriend before trying to push his way past his friends and back to the fight. Eventually, the group diffused the feud and walked on, with the streamer again expressing his shock at what just happened in front of him: “What was that dude?! Dude, you tried to, you tried to fucking… what?! Bruv, that dude just tried to grab that girl! What the fuck was that?! What the hell was that?!” This isn’t the first time this has happened An IRL streamer in Korea was subjected to similar inappropriate behaviour when she was groped by a male stranger during her livestream last year. “Hey! Hey you fucking lunatic! Hey you over there! Come back”, the female shouted in Korean after the assailant ran off. He was never caught, so he sadly didn’t face punishment for his disgusting acts. Issues like these highlight just how far the world has to go in terms of respecting people’s personal boundaries. After all, nobody likes to be touched inappropriately, especially without permission.

IRL Twitch streamer BlondieWondie banned after controversial driving broadcast – Dexerto
IRL Twitch streamer BlondieWondie banned after controversial driving broadcast Instagram: BlondieWondie1UPDATE July 26 1:27PM PST BlondieWondie has since contacted us and said: “I never read chat and am unable to with Apple CarPlay. That is false. I never got a ticket as well and didn’t break the law.” IRL streamer ‘BlondieWondie’ has been banned on Twitch after numerous calls for her to be punished following a broadcast which saw her speeding, reading chat and even getting pulled over by police. Twitch have come down hard on channels they believe are broadcasting reckless or dangerous driving, handing out suspensions to a number of channels including Hasan Piker, who received a ban for checking his phone while stopped in his vehicle. Now, Twitch have handed down a punishment to BlondieWondie, removing her channel on July 26 following her actions during her road trip stream to Mexico. The streamer was livestreaming her road trip to Mexico in her Porshe, as viewers of her broadcast watched as she sped, read her chat and fiddled with her music, and was eventually pulled over by law enforcement. BlondieWondie immediately apologized after her meeting with law enforcement, claiming that she didn’t “know the speed limit” and had missed the freeway. Viewers who attempt to view her channel on July 26 will find that they won’t be able to, as it appears to have been removed by Twitch following her antics behind the wheel. It’s not clear how long BlondieWondie has been banned for, however Hasan Piker originally received a seven day ban for his error, so it’s likely that hers will be similar, probably expiring on August 2. Dexerto have reached out to BlondieWondie and Twitch for comment. It seems probable that she has been banned for breaking Twitch’s Community Guidelines, which specifically state that “Any activity that may endanger your life or lead to physical harm is prohibited, including suicide threats, intentional physical drama, illegal use of drugs and dangerous and distracted driving.” She was likely also banned for her run in with the police, as breaking the law while broadcasting is also against the Community Guidelines and punishable by a ban.

IRL streamer broadcasts Mexican migrants breaking through American border – Dexerto
IRL streamer broadcasts Mexican migrants breaking through American border IRL streamer Andy ‘Mexican Andy’ Martin caught over 50 Mexican migrants attempting to break through the border and into the United States of America. Martin is best known for his appearances on Paul ‘Ice Poseidon’ Denino’s various IRL streams, but also operates his own channel which he broadcasts from. During a trip to Tijuana, Mexico, Martin went live on his Twitch channel, only to capture a group of Mexican migrants cut through the fence at the border and run into the United States. The story was eventually picked up by broadcaster ABC News 10, who interviewed the streamer about what he experienced. Mexican Andy said the experience was “shocking.” There was a border patrol agent in the area, but Martin stated that the officer was “overwhelmed” and “could only do so much” to stop the group who were trying to make a break for the States. In the clip, Martin can he heard screaming at his chat in shock as people began to flee across the sand, shouting: “Chat, chat, they’re crossing the border,” as they ran into the distance. “They had scissors, and started cutting the fence,” Martin told the reporter. “Then they cut, and people just started running. [Border Patrol] couldn’t do anything, but they got three ATVs and I think they stopped all of them.” Border Patrol later confirmed that two groups tried to storm into the United States at one time, and after backup was called by the lone agent on the scene, 53 people were arrested with none believed to have escaped.

IRL Twitch stars slam Kick streamer for shouting at Japanese train goers – Dexerto
IRL Twitch stars slam Kick streamer for shouting at Japanese train goers Kick: SuspendasIRL Twitch stars are slamming Kick streamer ‘Suspendas’ after a clip of him surfaced shouting at Japanese train goer and telling them to learn English. A streamer who had transitioned to Kick from Twitch, Suspendas, is receiving massive backlash from the IRL streaming community for disrupting passengers of a train in Japan. In the stream, he can be seen wearing a small bluetooth speaker playing music loudly as he is slouched over his camera speaking to himself in obscenities. Some people claim he was heavily drinking before the incident. A passenger can be heard telling him to shut it off multiple times, and the person next to him attempted to turn down the speaker. This prompted the streamer to act aggressively towards the passengers. He would go on to argue with them, prompting him to tell them to learn English after they started lecturing him in Japanese. “No speakers in the train,” the Japanese man said, after Suspendas refused to listen to him. “I wanted to speak English to you,” Suspends replied. By the end of the clip, Suspendas can be seen being guided away by a train station worker. Suspendas faces backlash for behavior on Japanese train Twitch streamer Arex, who IRL streams frequently and is a American living in Japan just like Suspendas, responded in a tweet saying, “I’m tired of seeing IRL streamers that come here thinking they’re tough sh*t and forcing everyone to play by their rules to only disrespect the culture.” He also points out Suspendas has been living in Japan for the past 8 years, and should already know the etiquettes of Japanese public transport. Jakenbake, a IRL streamer also responded, saying, “I don’t know how IRL is regressing to this. Holds us all back.” Idk how IRL is regressing to this. Holds us all back. — Jake’n’Bake @ Thailand 🇹🇭 (@jakenbakeLIVE) February 22, 2023 Suspendas has had a long history in the IRL streaming world as part of Ice Poseidon’s entourage when he frequently streamed on Twitch. He eventually made the switch to Kick. It is on Kick where he appeared nude on his live stream, and allegedly paid a sex worker to have sex with him live on stream.

IRL Twitch streamer admits to cheating on girlfriend during awkward broadcast – Dexerto
IRL Twitch streamer admits to cheating on girlfriend during awkward broadcast Hyubsama / TwitchTwitch streamer ‘Hyubsama’ admitted to cheating on his girlfriend ‘Starbitzychan’ during a revealing broadcast on March 6. Though Hyubsama’s videos tend to be about his whimsical adventures through nearby eateries and locales, his latest stream took a dark turn in the moments following a startling confession. During his livestream, Hyubsama sat Starbitzy down in front of the camera before opening up that he had kissed his ex-girlfriend Tina four days prior. “I kissed her,” Hyubsama said. “I kissed Tina four days ago. I’m sorry.” Starbitzy broke down while repeatedly saying: “that’s cheating.” To which Hyubsama replied: “I am [a] cheater.” The stream kept going, capturing moments that ranged from Starblitzy trying to leave but being held back by Hyubsama, to people donating messages that only seemed to make the situation worse. Audiences were obviously shocked, but the confusion quickly turned to spite as many said Hyubsama looked like he cared more about the stream’s reaction than Starbitzy. “…Being remorseful for hurting another person, especially one you supposedly care about, would be the correct reaction. This guy literally doesn’t give a flying fuck how she feels. He used it 100% to gain views and stir drama…,” Reddit user Lonesurvivor said. Other onlookers remained puzzled, as streamers have been known to routinely stage dramatic moments during their broadcast. This was never more true than ever after tonight…relationship should not be content. Ever. https://t.co/dZD0jdmSk0 — Starbitzychan (@starbitzy) March 6, 2019 Hyubsama later followed up with Starblitzy to ask where she was, saying: “I don’t understand why you didnt come back. Because I cheated on you? That’s all? So I cheated on you so you’re going to break up with me?” The stream was soon turned off leaving many to speculate on the mess Hyubsama had got himself into.

IRL streaming clown restrained by police after reports he had a knife – Dexerto
IRL streaming clown restrained by police after reports he had a knife A YouTube IRL stream was dramatically cut short by police on November 23, after they received a call that the streamer in question was in possession of a knife. IRL streaming has grown incredibly popular, with hundreds of thousands of viewers tuning in across various streaming platforms. One of the most appealing parts of IRL streaming is the idea that anything can happen. This proved true again on November 23, when a YouTube live streamer known as ‘Sherwin’ was stopped by police while broadcasting, after it was called in that he was potentially in possession of a knife. The streamer was in clown makeup, deeply resonant of Joaquin Phoenix’s ‘Joker’. The stream was just over 5 hours long, starting at 8pm and being stopped just after 1am on the morning of Saturday, November 23. According to Sherwin’s YouTube channel, this was the first time he had been live in over 3 months, and the first time he had worn the clown make-up. While walking around London in the early hours of Saturday morning, the perspectives given on stream show a police car and two officers step towards the IRL streamer. The police officers approach Sherwin, asking what he’s doing. They then inform him that they’ve been told he has a knife, and will have to search him as a result. “We’ve been called that you’ve possibly got a knife on you,” explained the male police officer, as the pair restrain Sherwin. “I don’t have a knife on me,” the streamer responded. “I don’t have a knife on me I can show you sir. Prank callers, sir.” Despite Sherwin’s protests, the police officers handcuff him and proceed to search for a potential knife, and the stream is cut short. It is not currently clear whether or not the streamer had a knife in his possession. According to the phone visible in the live stream, Sherwin was close to St John’s Wood High Street in central London. An affluent part of the English capital, it is close to Lords’ Cricket ground and Regent’s Park. It is also not clear whether the emergency call came from an online viewer, or a worried member of the public who saw a person in clown make-up walking around London in the middle of the night.

IRL Tokyo streamer saves tourist from potential dangerous scam – Dexerto
IRL Tokyo streamer saves tourist from potential dangerous scam Twitter/Twitch/robcdeeIRL Twitch streamer ‘robcdee’ saved an unsuspecting tourist from a potentially dangerous scam on the streets of Tokyo, and it happened live on the broadcast! Rob, an Australian streamer who documents his travels around Japan on Twitch, was contemplating heading into a sports bar on May 14 when he noticed a tourist being led to a club nearby. Due to his experience traversing the land of the rising sun, the streamer had a feeling the tourist could be about to be scammed and asked his chat what he should do. “That guy’s getting scammed!” he exclaimed. “That guy’s getting scammed. Do I save him?” In the past, Robcdee has made a habit of “saving” tourists in awkward situations being aggressively hit on by strangers and even kids who have lost their parents. After chat urged the streamer to attempt to save the stranger, Rob took off on his bike and whispered to the potential club goer that he was “being scammed.” “You’ll lose like, a grand,” he informed the man. “Oh yeah?” the stranger questioned back. “Yeah,” Rob replied and hurried back to the sports bar. While it’s unclear if the man was definitely going to be scammed, or whether there was any trouble at all, some users on Reddit speculated that the tourist may have been walking into a trap, one involving the potential use of drugs. “Dudes get baited into going into bars where they’ll supposedly meet beautiful Japanese women who would love to chat/drink with them and they end up getting scammed,” user TheEmoWalrus chimed in. “Usually involves a drugged drink and they run your cards/go through your wallet while you’re passed out. If you try to leave they might also rough you up a bit to make you pay,” the user continued. “Sadly a lot of people who come over don’t do their research on stuff like this and think that since Japan is so safe that stuff like this doesn’t happen.” Whatever the case, it would seem like the “Angel of Shibuya” was able to keep the stranger from the club and with his money intact.

IRL streamer’s zipline ride ends in unexpected fail – Dexerto
IRL streamer’s zipline ride ends in unexpected fail Twitch/jinnyttyKorean Twitch streamer ‘Jinnytty’ continued her tour of Texas on March 6 by going on a Lake Travis Zipline adventure, but didn’t anticipate that she’d wind up getting stuck. After a couple successful zipline trips and quite a bit of hiking, the streamer was about to go on her longest ride yet. “We are zipping Jinny on lake side,” the instructor said while getting the steamer geared up. After counting her down from three, the Twitch streamer slid her way down the zipline and seemed to be enjoying herself. Her camera was able to capture a gorgeous view of the expansive lake and trees surrounding the area northwest of Austin. Unfortunately for the streamer, her ride was cut short as the speed began to fall off, eventually slowing down to a snail’s pace. “What? I’m slowing down,” Jinny laughed. After coming to a halt, staff on the other side started yelling at the streamer to “grab the loop” so they would be able to reel her in. Although she reached out in an attempt to grab the loop, Jinny’s arms were too short, and she soon found herself going backwards. “Oh no!” she groaned as she starting going the other way entirely. “Well, we’re stuck.” On the bright side, the staff were quick to fix the predicament and came to her aid, giving her a device to clip onto her tether so they could pull her to the end of the ride. For her part, the entertainer was appreciative of the help she received and thanked the staff for their prompt assistance. Even though she was stuck for a few moments, the streamer went on to say that she loved it and that it was “crazy fun.” Between ziplining and bonding with waitresses at Hooters, it would seem like Jinny is really enjoying her time visiting Texas thus far – and there’s no telling what hjinks she’ll get involved with next!

IRL streaming bounty hunter confirms why he was permanently banned – Dexerto
IRL streaming bounty hunter confirms why he was permanently banned StephenIRLUPDATE: StephenIRL has been unbanned from Twitch as of October 12, comments pending. Well-known Twitch bounty hunter “StephenIRL” has been permanently banned from the site with next to no warning from the platform. While many viewers think of Twitch as a haven for live streamed video games or “Just Chatting” segments, the site boasts a surprisingly wide array of content – including IRL (in real life) streaming. StephenIRL is one of the most popular bounty hunters on Twitch, meaning that he tracks down people with warrants and takes them into a police station as his job. However, it doesn’t look like he’ll be doing that while streaming on Twitch any longer. Stephen was permanently banned from Twitch on September 11, revealing that he’d been booted from the site because he brandished a weapon on stream. “Official reason is ‘brandishing’ a weapon,” he said in a response to a fan asking why he’d been banned. Needless to say, his viewers aren’t happy about this development, and have voiced their support for him on Twitter in his replies. StephenIRL said he has since appealed the ban but won’t be able to stream as usual until the appeal is accepted. As of right now, there’s no telling when, or if, that will happen. It’s hard to bounce back from receiving a permanent ban from the source of your livelihood – but a move to alternative streaming platforms like Mixer or YouTube could provide a solution in the interim. The streamer uploaded a broadcast on YouTube talking about the incident but has since taken it down in an effort to prevent toxicity. “Already streamed it and took it down,” he said of the explanatory stream. “I don’t want anything taken out of context and interpreted as toxic.” Already streamed it and took it down. I don’t want anything taken out of context and interpreted as toxic. — Stephen (@StephenIRL_) September 12, 2019 StephenIRL created his Twitch account in 2017 according to TwitchMetrics and boasted just over 90,000 followers at the time of his ban. We will keep you updated on whether Twitch overturns his ban after an appeal, but at the moment, it isn’t looking very good for him.

IRL streamer’s van window explodes while driving on interstate highway – Dexerto
IRL streamer’s van window explodes while driving on interstate highway YouTube/Burger PlanetIRL streamer “Burger Planet” had quite a scare while he was driving on the highway. The internet personality, who frequently broadcasts his road trips and other events in his life, was chatting with his stream when suddenly, out of nowhere, his back window exploded. “I can’t wait until I have a better body,” he said to his chat after passing a sign for Twin Peaks Road and Exit 244 in Arizona. Just then, before he could even finish his sentence, the sound of glass shattering rang out. (Timestamp 2:38:45 for mobile viewers) “Ahh!” Burger Planet cried out while still continuing to drive ahead. “What the f**k?” The IRL streamer then adjusted his camera to show his viewers that his entire back window had suddenly vanished. “For some reason my window just busted open!” he exclaimed. “Did somebody throw something through my window? I don’t know if something hit my window, but my window just busted open. Godd***it. F**k. My window just f**king shattered back there.” To his credit, the streamer managed to keep himself together and drive safely, despite a crazy series of events that could have caused him to lose control on the road. “I got to get a new window somehow,” he murmured. “That scared the f**k out of me. And there’s glass everywhere. Jesus.” Unfortunately, as Burger Planet pointed out, he now had no security in the back of his car. Eventually, he pulled into a gas station to clean up the broken glass in the van, and then headed to a junkyard to find a replacement. It certainly became a very stressful situation for the streamer, but he found a way to handle it promptly before continuing on his trip. Hopefully, the new window can last him a long time and doesn’t explode into a million pieces like the other one.

IRL streamer’s Twitch channel shut down after asking the President to start a war IRL streamer Corinne Now’s Twitch account was appearing shut down on November 17 after a heated confrontation with a man resulted in the entertainer suggesting US President start a war. The self-proclaimed social media influencer was in Beverly Hills checking out Christmas lights when a car pulled up in front of her and she began conversing with its occupants. “Where are you guys from?” she asked the group inside the packed automobile. “We’re from Iran,” one glasses-wearing individual in the backseat replied. “Oh my God, what are you guys doing in Beverly Hills?” the surprised streamer continued. At that point, the man in the backseat appeared to say something along the lines of “f*ck some b*tches,” though his audio wasn’t the cleanest – no pun intended. Whatever the case, however, Corinne was furious at the inappropriate comments. “That’s rude and that’s tacky and it makes your country look like sh*t when you talk like that in public,” she ranted. “I’m not actually from there,” the man confessed, but Corinne was still angered at what he had said. “When you call girls a ‘B word’ it makes you look like trash,” she blasted. “You should apologize. You look like trash, dude. You wanted to be on my stream. You wanted to be on my stream, babe.” Finally, the driver in the car had enough and drove off leaving Corinne Now in the dust, but not before she made a special request to the President of the United States. Immediately after suggesting the President start a war with Iran, the streamer gasped and seemed to regret her choice of words. “Am I allowed to say that?” she asked her chat. “Ooh, my mouth is going to be quiet.” Since the incident, the streamer’s Twitch has been rendered unavailable. It’s unclear whether Twitch suspended the account or if she had deleted the channel herself. Dexerto has reached out to Corinne Now for comment.

IRL Streamer threatens housemate during aggressive late-night argument – Dexerto
IRL Streamer threatens housemate during aggressive late-night argument YouTube IRL streamer Ebenezer ‘EBZ’ Lembe almost came to blows with one of his roommates, after they took issue with his late-night cooking. While he might not command the huge viewing numbers of other streamers, EBZ regularly finds himself broadcasting some of the weirdest content around. Back in April, the streamer filmed himself falling asleep at the wheel of a car despite viewers pleading with him to stop the stream. He’s even threatened to sue fans after claiming they altered a video of himself picking his nose and eating it, however, he took things up another level during his recent broadcast. 600During his July 7 stream, EBZ had been cooking some late-night food for himself when one of his housemates informed him that clocking after 11 pm wasn’t really acceptable due to the noise and smell. A clearly frustrated EBZ took issue with this and fired back by stating that he doesn’t say anything when he is woken up by their noise. Of course, this led to an ever-louder shouting match between the pair before the streamer flipped out, furiously slammed a pot on the kitchen floor and told his roommate to leave him alone. Things didn’t finish there, however, as EBZ continued ranting about how angry he was that his roommate had ‘gotten in his face’ and it wasn’t the first time that he had done so. Viewers were left watching a live shot of the kitchen as the streamer continued his verbal tirade off camera. Of course, considering the noise, it wasn’t too hard for his stream to pick up – giving viewers a radio-like broadcast for a few minutes as the pair continued their back-and-forth argument. Despite returning to his stream, EBZ couldn’t seem to drop the issue as he once again walked off stream and told his roommate to contact their landlord if he wasn’t happy with his living situation. Read More: Streamer Anita explains how she handles grief and it’s some of the best advice you’ll ever hear – Again, things escalated into another shouting match as both men tried to assert their dominance. “Shut the fuck up,” screamed the streamer, whenever his roommate tried to make himself hurt. EBZ also told him to “be a-fucking-gressive” before claiming that he would even “storm your bitch ass” and returning back to his viewers to continue cooking. Unlike his other highlight clips, EBZ won’t be able to accuse viewers of faking anything with his own outburst as he left the stream running for anybody to see. Only time will tell if he ends up broadcasting any further, more aggressive arguments with his roommate or if one of them will decide to make the move elsewhere.

IRL streamer’s first trip to the gun range leaves her terrified – Dexerto
IRL streamer’s first trip to the gun range leaves her terrified IRL streamer KiaraaKitty left viewers in tears of laughter as she went to a shooting range during her visit to Korea but struggled to pull the trigger due to the sound. Through streaming her global IRL (in-real-life) adventures on both Twitch and YouTube, KiaraaKitty has amassed a worldwide fanbase that follows her everywhere she goes. That even stretches to American police officers who ‘stream sniped’ her during a broadcast. However, on January 14, she was a guest on Jinnytty’s Twitch stream, as the pair hopped to a gun range in South Korea but struggled to actually fulfill their adventure due to the noise – and seemingly some nerves as well. Instead of picking up something with a bit more kick, the pair opted for some simple pistols, but after being run through some instructions KiaraaKitty was a bit hesitant to carry on after her first pull of the trigger. The popular streamer held off for a minute before jumping in terror at the shots that were being taken by other customers. “I’m so sorry, I don’t know why… ow, so loud,” she muttered before grimacing following further shots. However, with a bit of a silence in the air, KiaraaKitty finally started pulling the trigger on her pistol – even though she kept closing her eyes as she shot and seemingly bracing from some recoil. “I don’t know how to feel about this,” she said as her magazine was emptied and she could breathe a sigh of relief. With her round over and done with, the streamer received her target and took a look at how she’d done. “I don’t know, the gun sound just scared me. Is it normal?” KiaraaKitty asked the chat as she left the range. As she met back up with Jinnytty, the pair discussed just how “scary” the sound was, and noted that they’d both seen an increase in heart rate. Even though they stuck around the range to take a few photos with different weapons, the pair didn’t opt for any further live shots of the guns. Whether or not either of them decides to head back to a gun range on a further range remains to be seen, but it’s not like they’ll find anything much quieter.

IRL streamer terrified after being threatened by man wielding a knife – Dexerto
IRL streamer terrified after being threatened by man wielding a knife An IRL broadcast in Cape Town, Africa quickly turned dangerous when a man wielding a knife threatened the streamer’s party, and stole their camera. The unpredictable nature of IRL streams make them as real as it gets, as personalities take their audience with them outdoors where anything can happen at any moment. On streamer learned this the hard way, when their walk around Cape Town, Africa was interrupted by a knife-wielding thief who turned the adventure into a terrifying situation. IRL streamer ‘gogirl_tv’ had just rounded a street corner with her party when a man in a green hoodie appeared on screen from out of nowhere, and start to walk directly into them. “Don’t move!” he screamed. He then pushed to the back of the group, where a man with a camera around his neck shouted “What do you want?!” repeatedly, before the attacker rushed him and grabbed for the camera. After the two began to tussle, the thief broke free with the camera and showed him a knife, yelling, “Look here at the knife! I will stab you!” He then took off with the stolen item. “Are you f**king kidding me!?” the streamer exclaimed in disbelief. The terrifying incident didn’t end there, as the streaming party chased after their attacker to try to get the stolen camera back. Much to their surprise, he was caught by security. “That’s amazing that they found him, man!” the streamer exclaimed, as they made their way down the street on foot to catch up with the attacker who had now been detained. As they approached the law enforcement agent who held their camera, they explained, “That’s ours, we just got mugged by this guy!” before the man finally relinquished the device back to them. Thankfully no one was hurt in the mugging, and the streaming party ended up getting back the camera that had been stolen from them during the violent encounter. However, the scary incident served as proof at how dangerous IRL streams can suddenly become, given the unexpected nature of broadcasting in the real world.

IRL streamer terrified by raving man screaming insults at passersby Instagram: riazizi / FreepikIRL Twitch streamer ‘GGria‘ was broadcasting while walking through the streets of Toronto, Canada on July 12 and caught a random stranger scaring the living daylights out of passersby. IRL streamers have been known to catch some unexpected and crazy occurrences at times, which makes sense considering they’re literally filming the real world, meaning anything can happen at any moment. Toronto-based streamer GGria recently experienced what can happen when you mix real life with streaming culture, and her situation was just plain scary. The stranger was harassing innocent pedestrians The IRL streamer was giving viewers a tour of Toronto when suddenly a man showed up out of nowhere behind her and started screaming aggressively. A woman is then seen fleeing past the streamer, visibly terrified. “Fuck you puta, fuck you puta, fuck you!” the aggressor shouts. He went on to challenge another pedestrian, screaming “call the cops again, you fucking robbers!” The scary individual quickly turned to other innocent people, and started to make aggressive physical movements as if to threaten them. While his screaming is inaudible at times, it was clear that he was challenging passersby to call the police “again” – suggesting that this wasn’t the only time he’s done this, except previous times had ended up with law enforcement being involved. Why was the man scaring people? It’s hard to say what caused the man to unleash his terrifying tirade on everyone in the vicinity, and it is unknown if he was under the influence of something or suffering from mental health issues. Regardless, it was a terrifying experience for GGria. “Holy shit, I got so scared,” she exclaimed breathlessly after the man left the scene. If the man is indeed troubled, hopefully he can get the help he needs. And if nothing else, let this be a lesson that anything can happen when broadcasting in public.

IRL streamer stuns Greggs employee by freestyle rapping his food order – Dexerto
IRL streamer stuns Greggs employee by freestyle rapping his food order Twitch: FarTooBakedAn IRL streamer shocked a Greggs employee by ordering his food via the form of freestyle rap, and he actually spits some pretty good bars! In-real-life broadcasts can be very unpredictable at times due to their unsuspecting nature. Life stops at nothing – even during a Twitch stream. Sometimes though, it’s the personality that surprises everyone else. Rapper ‘FarTooBaked’ took to the streets of Eastbourne, UK to show off his musical skills and stunned viewers and a worker in British bakery chain Greggs by stringing together some freestyle bars to place his food order. Freestyling Greggs order On February 16, FarTooBaked drove from his home into town to partake in rap dares from his Twitch chat while wearing a Go-Pro camera so they could get a clear view of the action. After parking his car, he ventured to Greggs for the first stop on his escapades. Upon arriving and joining the huge queue which is only natural for England, the rapper asked his viewers what he should buy. “Order food and give it away to one homeless guy,” he read out. “Alright, we’ll order some food!” “Okay, I’ll order some food and give it away to some homeless geeza. How many sausage rolls should we order?” he asked his chat as the line progressed, before telling them to type things he should say during the freestyle. “We’ll order loads, yeah? We’ll order a load of sausage rolls and s**t. Get ready with some words, start spamming some words now!” The streamer then approached the unsuspecting Greggs employee and instead of simply telling him his food order, he began to freestyle it instead. “Hey, what’s up, man?” he asked, before breaking into song. “10 sausage rolls for a couple guys outside in the street, G. Gonna get a couple of the pizza slices too, maybe. And I’ll have a couple of these raspberry and almond bakies, I’ll take two, please,” he rapped, as he placed two packets of the baked sweets on the counter. “And a couple of the cheese slices. I’m like, listen, a couple of people don’t really know how to be living life properly, did you get it all, G?” he finished. “I’mma pull out my card, a couple of people say that when I’m rapping it’s a little hard, but I’m like G, I find it easy, it’s a breeze to me! Couple of people in Greggs feeling the flow, I’m like yo, I’m on the Go-Pro!” After receiving his food and giving it out, FarTooBaked visited a few more stores where he surprised people with his bars – including an employee in greetings card store Clintons. “Would you like a freestyle, bruv? Like rapping?” he asked the young looking sales clerk, who replied with “Yeah, go on!” and readied up to listen. “Alright, check this out, man!” the streamer replied before showed the guy his Twitch chat and explained how they type words that influence his songs. “When I roll up, people don’t really get what I do when I show up with a Go-Pro and I come through with the freestyle flow. They don’t really know how I do this rap, going around the UK with my wordplay,” he rapped. “I do it like this, little bit savage, people talk about beef when they rap but not me, chief. A couple of people left in disbelief at what I do, I’m like yo, watch me, peep in the chat as I come through.” “That’s really good, bro! What’s your name?!” the employee exclaimed once FarTooBaked had finished, clearly extremely impressed at the musician’s bar spitting skills. While it’s a different way to communicate with store workers and order food, it’s hard to argue that the Twitch rapper doesn’t have some crazy talent when it comes to his craft.

IRL streamer has surprisingly wholesome encounter with stream sniper – Dexerto
IRL streamer has surprisingly wholesome encounter with stream sniper IRL Twitch streamer ‘jaystreazy’ encountered what could be the most wholesome stream sniper ever recorded. Jaystreazy is an IRL livestreamer from California who is currently documenting his travels in Canada – which is where he ran into the wholesome stream sniper. Stream sniping is nothing new on Twitch, but it is refreshing to see someone using the power for good, instead of evil. What made this stream sniper so wholesome? Jaystreazy and his accomplice were enjoying some food in a shopping center while explaining what they did to a passerby before the sniper made his move. Out of nowhere the stream sniper produced a bottle of white wine and two glasses for the travelers, while apologizing for being fresh out of the red. William, the stream sniper in question, placed the bottle down with authority as jaystreazy’s friend proclaimed “He just sniped us!” A nice firm handshake that would make Dr Disrespect proud sealed the deal, and the streamers cracked open the bottle as William dutifully headed back to man his shop. The man, the myth, the legend.600 The most wholesome stream sniper ever? William and his wine have immediately shot to the top of the “Best stream sniper ever” list, but he has some tough competition with another from Japan. Back in May 2019, IRL streamer Trevor ‘Hitch’ Daneliuk had a random encounter with a man who delivered him breakfast on the side of the road. Both snipers are incredibly wholesome, and which one is better really just comes down to what time of day it is, unless you enjoy having wine for breakfast. Like we said before, there’s no shortage of stream snipers on Twitch, but the few that use their position to help out a streamer are few and far between. The clip also goes to show that all kinds of people watch Twitch, William probably isn’t spamming 7s on xQc’s stream (he could be though), but he sure does know how to make an entrance.

IRL Twitch streamer pressing charges after man assaults him during broadcast – Dexerto
IRL Twitch streamer pressing charges after man assaults him during broadcast Twitch: PeeguuAn IRL streamer was absolutely baffled after a stranger on a bicycle randomly went past and kicked him in a rather sensitive area for seemingly no reason – and he’s pressing charges against them for it. IRL streams are almost always home to some of the most bizarre and mindblowing occurrences on Twitch. From streamers completely missing famous celebrities to being attacked and robbed by a monkey, you can always expect something weird to happen. Unfortunately, this often comes in the form of violence, perhaps only ever de-escalated thanks to the presence of a camera. For example, earlier in September 2021, a streamer called CookSux was randomly approached by a complete stranger in Hawaii, who confronted him for a fight. In a similar encounter, Peeguu was doing in IRL stream in Taipei when he was left dumbfounded by a surge of violence from a random stranger cycling past. In the clip, Peeguu is just minding his own business on his phone while sat on a bench, when the stranger cycles past and gets extremely close, kicking him before cycling off. After staring at the stranger for a moment, Peeguu said: “That guy kicked me in the nuts. I should’ve f**ked him up.” The streamer swiftly moved on, saying that “he missed” and suggesting that he “thinks that guy’s a viewer” of the stream. A short while after the clip went viral online, Peeguu stated on Twitter that he will be pressing charges against his assailant “to the maximum extent.” “No one has the right to assault anyone,” he wrote in a tweet response to Dexerto. “I personally don’t believe in the use of violence – unless absolutely necessary. He is some random stranger that I’ve never encountered.” No one has the right to assault anyone. I personally don’t believe in the use of violence – unless absolutely necessary. He is some random stranger that I’ve never encountered. Im still pissed by this event and I’m pressing charges to the maximum extent. — PeeguuTV (@PeeguuTV) September 30, 2021 Considering the number of similar incidents on Twitch in the past, it’s concerning that this trend continues, as IRL broadcasters share their travels with fans. This violence is unacceptable, and this streamer taking a stand in court may help to reduce these attacks.

IRL streamer stunned as police officer ‘stream snipes’ her – Dexerto
IRL streamer stunned as police officer ‘stream snipes’ her YouTube: KiaraaKittyIRL streamer KiaraaKitty was left stunned after being approached by the police on her recent livestream – only to discover that they were actually a fan. Kiaraakitty is an on-the-rise IRL (in-real-life) streamer who splits her time between Twitch and YouTube. Thanks to her antics while traveling around the world, she has racked up a sizable fanbase over the two platforms. That growing popularity has led to some awkward on-stream moments, including her chat pressuring her into kissing a mod and even answering questions in a hilariously calm manner. It’s also led to her attracting viewers from across the globe, with some deciding to take time out of their jobs to ‘stream snipe’ her when she comes to their town. KiaraaKitty splits her time between streaming on Twitch and YouTube.600 During her first stream in Washington DC, KiaraaKitty had been sat inside a subway talking to viewers when she was approached by someone calling out her name. The streamer was immediately shocked to discover that it was actually two police officers – thinking she was in trouble. “It’s ok, you’re not under arrest – I’m a fan,” the cop assured her, even though the streamer was still confused about the situation. However, things became a bit clearer when the cop asked her for a photo, explaining that he had noticed her in his area on the stream and decided to drop by. Of course, KiaraaKitty obliged and took a photo with her fan, even though she still appeared to be startled by the whole interaction. The pair chatted briefly with the streamer asking the cop if he would post the image in her discord, give her his Twitch username and say hello to the stream. However, as the fan was still on the job, he couldn’t stick around for too long and had to get back onto his beat after a few minutes. With KiaraaKitty traveling cross the United States and headed to TwitchCon, it likely won’t be the last time she gets stream sniped by fans – even though she probably won’t run into another police officer who watches her streams religiously.

IRL streamer faces strong backlash after driving while intoxicated during a broadcast – Dexerto
IRL streamer faces strong backlash after driving while intoxicated during a broadcast EBZ YouTubeAudiences were shocked to see YouTube broadcaster Ebenezer ‘EBZ’ Lembe driving impaired while on the busy streets of Los Angeles in a late April 23 stream. EBZ is known for his IRL streams that occasionally features appearances from ICE_Posiedon or other members for the rest of the Cx crew. A new video shows EBZ on the road while his stream is on, though throughout the video it’s clear that he’s having difficulty keeping his attention steadily on the road. Driving under the influence The situation was evident to his audience that something wasn’t completely right with the streamer with many of his viewers saying EBZ was “drunk af” or that “he’s high not drunk.” It’s unclear if the streamer was drunk or high, as his stream’s viewers were going back and forth between the possibility of the the two. Regardless, EBZ can be seen fumbling trying to stay awake, saying: “Tired, sleepy. I could use laying in my bed right now.” There were multiple scenarios where the streamer had to stave off his eyes from shutting at 3:30 in the morning, sometimes having to jolt himself back up. Desperate calls to stop the drive Even though his stream was filled with viewers enjoying the late night outing, there was tons of people calling for EBZ to pull over and check into a hotel. His stream’s chat were filled with messages akin to “Real talk, pull over” and “he’s going to crash man, this isn’t funny anymore.” The streamer pressed on. At one point he can be seen driving over a small bump while he was yawning. Although that didn’t faze him, it was soon followed by a much bigger thud that shook him awake. “Ahhh, okay,” EBZ said. “I’m up. I’m up. I’m up. I’m up.” Moments later his head heavily dropped, forcing him to recollect himself but this time he wasn’t too confident, saying: “Wake up. Fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck. That means wake up.” The scenes from his broadcast were unnerving for his stream, but EBZ did manage to get to his destination and has since continued with his stream.

IRL streamer stunned after creepy fan pays off taxi to drive her home – Dexerto
IRL streamer stunned after creepy fan pays off taxi to drive her home Jinnytty, TwitchIRL Twitch streamer “Jinnytty” was approached by a fan during a January broadcast — but things quickly got awkward after they pulled a stunt that left her visibly uncomfortable. While being an internet star might seem like a cake walk, the job can bring some obsessed fans out of the woodwork, who might perceive personalities’ near-constant online availability as something more than it really is: just showbiz. IRL streamer and language buff Jinnytty was confronted by one such fan during a trip to Taiwan’s Kenting National Park, during which she received a fairly large donation of 10,000 Twitch bits — $100 in US currency. However, those bits weren’t donated by a viewer from the comfort of their own home; instead, the donator was actually “watching” Jinny in real life, and approached the streamer after making his generous contribution. “I know, you just gave it to me and you’re here!” Jinny exclaimed after the fan greeted her, handing her a plastic bag full of cake as a gift. The fan then revealed that his birthday was yesterday, prompting a short “Happy Birthday” from Jinny, who he’d hoped to meet as part of his “birthday wish” — but he wasn’t done there, and even admitted to paying her taxi fare ahead of time so that he might take her home. Obviously, this didn’t sit well with the streamer, who denied his request after deliberating the awkward situation with the taxi driver: but rather than taking her answer at face value, the fan made a bit of a scene. “I don’t know what to do,” Jinny admitted after stepping away to take care of the issue. “He’s legit sad. I had to tell him, ‘Don’t be sad,’ and stuff. Then, he said he’s gonna sit down there for ten minutes, and then go. …he’s just sitting down on the ground. He’s so sad.” After receiving a few warning messages from her viewers, Jinny finally left the fan to his own devices, adding yet another chapter to the many instances of streamers’ uncomfortable interactions with entitled fans.

IRL Twitch streamer stunned by most wholesome ‘stream sniper’ ever in Japan – Dexerto
IRL Twitch streamer stunned by most wholesome ‘stream sniper’ ever in Japan HitchIRL streamer Trevor ‘Hitch’ Daneliuk had a random encounter with a man who delivered him food on the side of the road, while livestreaming his journey through Japan on Twitch. Hitch documents his hitchhiking travels, hence the name, for viewers on Twitch, and recently he has been making his way through Japan. Besides showing viewers how the country looks on foot during his journey, Hitch has also run into a few fans, including a man who randomly delivered him a meal. As the streamer is walking down the street, a black car quickly approaches and stops right next to him, initially giving Hitch a scare. Inside the car is a man who, without saying a word, hands Hitch a bag of food and begins pouring him a nice fresh cup of coffee. He even has a disposable cup on hand for the streamer to take with him, so this impromptu meal delivery definitely seems to have been planned out. The man explains that his wife made the coffee and food and after being thanked by Hitch, the ‘stream sniper’ disappears down the road. It turns out that this same man had previously encountered Hitch, and given him a ride earlier, before finding him again to give him some coffee and food. The friendly man may have just become the most wholesome example of “stream sniping” ever. It’s a great example of the hospitality and customs in Japan, which has been exemplified on Hitch’s streams, with plenty of strangers willing to help out a travelling American. Shortly after this encounter, a random woman agreed to give Hitch a ride to his next destination too.

IRL streamer enlists stranger for gross request with shocking results – Dexerto
IRL streamer enlists stranger for gross request with shocking results Twitch IRL streamer ‘WholeWheatPete’ has been accepting innocuous challenges by his audience, which strangely got him a new sock courtesy of a passerby. Digital pioneers on the streaming platform have been broadcasting their trips around cities on Twitch’s Travel and Outdoor section. While some tend to feature nature or casual beach trips, others love to create hysterical moments with people they come across. The strange moments in an IRL stream are only multiplied when these broadcasters let their Twitch Chat take control of their actions as they go about their metropolitan adventures. A socking surprise That was Pete’s approach when taking the streets of the Georgian capital, as he would get the most bizarre requests from his Twitch Chat – which he would happily oblige to. While he gave honest attempts to complete all of his Chat’s demands, some of them required the assistance of the strangers he passed up on the streets – so naturally not all got done. Twitch Chat: Trade socks with a random person Me: pic.twitter.com/BDKMDvU3ut — WholeWheatPete :arrow_right:️ AWA (@WholeWheatPete) November 2, 2019 That is until one of Pete’s viewers got the idea to ask the streamer “to swap socks with someone,” leading the explorer to flag down the nearest car. “Hey could we trade socks, really quick?” he asked. “Just you and me, just swap socks.” But he and Chat were equally stunned when the motorist quickly and without hesitation agreed to the streamers random request. Clarifying that he only needed one sock for the exchange, the driver pulled over took off his left shoe and sock, switched with the streamer then simply took off. “Yo, I dead ass just got another sock,” the streamer said in surprise as the driver was pulling away from the parking lot. It doesn’t seem like he has long term plans to keep his new garment, seeing as he was looking for replacements almost immediately the interaction. Though he later gifted another stranger a new pair of socks that he had recently purchased, so it was just a whole stream filled with sock-giving moments. The IRL streamer’s Twitch Chat have been concocting increasingly comical scenarios for Pete to do, which can be easily pulled off with a bit of help from strangers like the motorist he encountered.

IRL Streamer slaps man in the face during live broadcast – Dexerto
IRL Streamer slaps man in the face during live broadcast KunshiKitty, Instagram / WiseGEEKA German streamer and Instagram model by the name of ‘KunshiKitty’ was in the midst of an outdoor festival when she became part of a physical altercation, which was captured during her live broadcast of the event. The streamer was making her way through a crowd during what appeared to be an outdoor music festival or party when she came into contact with a male partygoer, who appeared to throw something at her as he walked by. While a clip from the stream is entirely in German, translators provided a rough rundown of what was said during the scuffle. According to a few translations via Reddit, the man asked her if she wanted some salt, after which he threw the substance in her direction. After asking him to stop, Kunshi struck the offender, speculating that her hand might have been bleeding due to the force of the blow as she walked away from the scene. “I totally hit him, dude – I think my hand is bleeding,” she said of the incident, showing her hand to the camera. “Dude! I totally punched that guy in the face!” https://www.instagram.com/p/BrTDd9MAgbW/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_linkWhile KunshiKitty’s stream was not banned for the altercation, the same cannot be said of streamer ‘AriaNina,’ who was recently booted from the platform due to a controversial body painting stream. Aria was banned due to beginning her stream too early, with only a small portion of her chest having been painted – leaving the rest of her torso exposed.

IRL streamer spooked by strange incident in his ‘haunted’ hotel room – Dexerto
IRL streamer spooked by strange incident in his ‘haunted’ hotel room Twitch: HItchAn IRL streamer was explaining to his Twitch chat that he had never seen a ghost before, when a strange occurrence in his hotel room creeped his viewers out. IRL streams are one of the most popular categories on Twitch, as viewers are drawn to the unpredictability of them. When going live in the real world, literally anything can happen. A hitchhiking personality became an example of this when a March 7 broadcast in his hotel room suddenly turned creepy. A perfectly timed incident had his chat believing in ghosts. IRL streamer’s creepy hotel room IRL streamer ‘Hitch’ documents his travels around the world, and gives viewers a glimpse into what it’s like to hitchhike. However during his latest broadcast, the subject of paranormal activities was brought up by his viewers. While his chat insisted that the current hotel room he was in was creepy, the personality explained that in all the places he has visited and stayed in, he had never seen ghosts before. “All my life I have probably camped out probably a thousand nights. I’ve never experienced something that couldn’t be explained. I’ve never seen anything that couldn’t be explained, I’ve never heard anything that could have no explanation,” he said. As Hitch continued to explain he had never seen anything strange before, the lights suddenly flickered on behind him. The streamer paused, and slowly turned his head around to see what had happened, before turning back to his camera. His chat erupted into people being creeped out by the incident, with many exclaiming that it was a ghost. However the streamer broke into laughter and said “The timing!” The Twitch personality also curiously noticed something on the wall hidden behind a painting, so he took it down to reveal a bizarre drawing. “Uh. I think that might be a murder scene. I don’t know about that. What is going on here?” he said, perplexed by the image. While it seems the creepy hotel room has not convinced the IRL streamer that ghosts do in fact exist, the perfectly timed bizarre incident had many in his chat getting the chills. Hitch had originally planned to hitchhike across Europe to make it to Twitchcon 2020 in Amsterdam, although it was recently canceled due to coronavirus concerns. Despite that, the Twitch personality is carrying on with his trip as planned.

IRL streamer shows how easy it is to get free meals because of your social media following – Dexerto
IRL streamer shows how easy it is to get free meals because of your social media following Popular Twitch streamers are used to getting all kinds of donations and gifts from fans, but it looks like they might have to add free meals to that list. It’s a common occurrence on Twitch to see massive donation or sub trains for the biggest streamers, but ‘Dankquan’ has shown that Twitch clout extends beyond the platform itself. During a live stream on November 26, Dankquan demonstrated just how easy it is to set up a free meal if you have a few thousand followers across various social media accounts. In his purple-lit room, Dankquan was at the tail-end of a smoking session when he called up a local eatery to see about getting a free meal. Met with initial hesitation from the restaurant employee, Dankquan used his “clout coins” to retroactively pay the bill for his dinner. “I have a livestream with Twitch. And then from Twitch I probably have like 60,000 followers, and across all of my shit, Snapchat included, it’s like a 100,000 or something, yes,” Dankquan said with his trademark swagger. This was all it took to book himself a night out at the expense of a livestream while at the restaurant. Dankquan is usually a hit or miss when it comes to these types of transactions, having attempted this in the past. Thankfully this time he succeeded, uploading the video to his YouTube channel following the successful transaction. At the time of writing, Dankquan has about 9,000 followers on Instagram, 27,000 subscribers on YouTube, 12,000 followers on Twitter, and 56,700 followers on Twitch.

IRL streamer shot live during broadcast by a security guard – Dexerto
IRL streamer shot live during broadcast by a security guard An IRL YouTube streamer was injured when a security guard discharged his weapon while the streamer was broadcasting on Thursday, February 14. According to viewers who were watching the now deleted broadcast, the streamer known as Furry Potato Live was walking around Los Angeles, California when he came across a synagogue and decided to film the building as he walked by. As he began to record the outside of the synagogue, a security guard stationed behind a gate asked the pair why they were recording, and grew suspicious when the streamer declined to answer. Viewers state that the guard instructed Furry Potato Live to stay still, but the streamer continued to walk back and forth, prompting the guard to unholster his weapon and Furry Potato Live to stop in his tracks. In a clip posted to the /r/LivestreamFail subreddit, Furry Potato Live can be heard saying: “He said he’s going to shoot me dead if I move, ladies and gentlemen.” Furry Potato Live began to move to his right, away from the synagogue, at which point the security guard, who was behind a gate while Furry Potato Live was on the sidewalk, fired a shot. It’s unclear in the video if the shot was aimed at the streamer’s leg or if it was aimed into the ground. “Ah! Fucker shot me,” yelled Furry Potato Live. “Fucker shot me in the leg!” Bystanders can then be heard telling the guard to put his gun down, while others shouted to call the police. The shot is fired at 1:33 in the clip, which can be viewed below. Viewers claim that police arrived and placed Furry Potato Live in handcuffs, but eventually helped the streamer receive medical attention. In a comment on his YouTube channel, Furry Potato Live claimed that the security guard had been arrested by police and charged with assault with a deadly weapon. The streamer ended his broadcast while in the back of an ambulance, and showed the wound on his right leg to viewers before he shut down the stream. **Warning – Some readers may find this image distressing.** We will be sure to update this article with any new information as it becomes available.

IRL streamer shocked as stranger hits him with water bottle in NYC – Dexerto
IRL streamer shocked as stranger hits him with water bottle in NYC An IRL Twitch streamer was left gobsmacked after a passerby randomly attacked them with a large water bottle, seemingly unprovoked, as he strolled down 6th avenue in Manhattan. Streamer ‘DailyDasher‘, who lives in New York City but broadcasts his travels around the world, was returning home and showing viewers his journey when the bizarre incident occurred. The nature of streaming IRL (in-real-life) often results in odd moments, as either the broadcaster goes out of their way to attract attention, or passersby can be lured in by the chance to be on camera. These types of moments occur most often when streaming in large cities, with New York being a prime example. When exploring busy streets, be it in Paris, Seoul or beyond, there’s no shortage of weird and wonderful people to add some character to the livestream. However, it’s not always safe, as DailyDasher discovered, as some individuals can take exception to livestreamers milling around with their camera out. It’s unclear if the woman in this clip was lashing out for this reason, but, entirely unprovoked, she swings a large water-cooler size bottle at the streamer, seemingly striking him on the shoulder. As the woman lashes out, she also shouts at him something similar to “f**k you!”, but it’s difficult to make out. DailyDasher meanwhile, pauses for a moment on the busy street, dumbfounded by the random attack. “What the f**k?” he exclaimed, “What?! She just… threw the water… wait? What just happened? I thought she was going to attack us. Welcome back to New York City, I guess.” It could have been worse, of course, as the woman just quickly moved on without escalating the situation further, and it doesn’t appear that DailyDasher was injured at all. Other instances of random violence on IRL streams have resulted in more serious harm, such as streamers being mugged while live, or when one woman had to defend herself when a man threw an unknown substance into her face.

IRL streamer shocked by strangers’ bizarre way of preventing Coronavirus – Dexerto
IRL streamer shocked by strangers’ bizarre way of preventing Coronavirus cjaysan, TwitchPanic surrounding the Coronavirus disease 2019 is at an all-time high, with reports of hand sanitizer and other commodities selling out at stores worldwide — but some people have found an odd way to combat the illness. With news of COVID-19 still developing, more and more public gatherings and events are being canceled as infection rates continue to rise in multiple countries and regions across the globe. Considering the severity of the virus, citizens are taking all manner of measures to prevent getting infected, resulting in a major shortage of cleaning products and even face masks. However, one IRL streamer came upon two individuals who found a hilarious way to get around the face mask shortage during a live broadcast in Japan. Osaka-based streamer “cjaysan” often shares his outings in the massive city, from morning walks to taking in the country’s bustling nightlife scene. It was during one of his daytime excursions that he came across two men, who appeared to be wearing brightly-colored and oddly shaped face masks. “What is that?” Cjaysan asked as the man approached his camera. “Panties,” the stranger answered bluntly. Indeed, both he and a friend appeared to be wearing women’s underwear on their faces, which they claimed was an attempt at warding off infection from the Coronavirus. In an even more hilarious turn of events, the stranger pulled the undergarments aside to take a drag from his cigarette, further suggesting that his makeshift panty-mask was likely just a gaff in response to panic surrounding the virus. “I should get one, too,” the streamer laughed, after the duo confirmed that they hadn’t, in fact, borrowed the garments from their girlfriends, as was originally suspected. While this surprise encounter marked a humorous take on the current situation, the Coronavirus is taking a serious toll on countries worldwide, with a slew of public events like SXSW, TwitchCon Amsterdam, and multiple competitive gaming events being canceled due to the outbreak. For now, all people can do is take preventative measures to avoid potential infection — but it looks like our panty-wearing strangers have the situation “under control.”

IRL streamer saves girl from being followed by strange man in Tokyo – Dexerto
IRL streamer saves girl from being followed by strange man in Tokyo Twitch/robcdeeIRL Twitch streamer ‘robcdee’ saved a Japanese tourist being followed by a strange man in Tokyo with some clutch intervention. During a February 10 stream, the Australian was hanging out by a kebab shop when he noticed a Moroccan girl being followed by a Japanese man in close pursuit. Thinking quickly, the girl approached Rob and claimed he was her friend. “Here’s my friend,” she said as she approached him. “Good to see you,” the streamer responded and swiftly patted the woman on the back, indicating that he was up for playing the part. “Have a good night man,” he told the Japanese fellow who had been trying to get the attention of the girl. After a little back and forth, the Twitch star was able to send the Japanese man on his way, much to the joy of the tourist who thanked Rob profusely. Rob explained to the tourist that some Japanese men have a very aggressive style of flirting where they “approach, approach, approach.” This practice is called nanpa and while it is common in Japan it is frowned upon. As it turned out, the girl had just arrived in Japan two days prior and had to figure out how to get back to where she was staying. Luckily for the Moroccan, Rob decided to stay with her for two full hours until her train finally arrived. She couldn’t have picked a better person to approach when she was being pursued earlier. For his part, Robcdee has a pretty good history of taking care of people in Japan. Earlier in January, the Australian Twitch streamer saved a drunk tourist from an unpleasant situation and helped him get back to his Airbnb. With Tokyo being such a popular destination for people all over the world, it’s good that streamers such as Rob are willing to give folks a much-needed hand in the event their dream trip goes south.

IRL streamer saves unwitting tourist from uncomfortable situation – Dexerto
IRL streamer saves unwitting tourist from uncomfortable situation Freepik.com / Robcdee, TwitterPopular IRL Twitch streamer “Robcdee” was walking down the streets of Tokyo, Japan when he noticed a foreign bystander being accosted by a woman — but this wasn’t your average “scam.” Robcdee is a popular “English born, Australian raised” IRL streamer based out of Japan, best known for his walks throughout Tokyo’s bustling nightlife scene and interactions with the locals. However, it’s not just the “city pop” aesthetic that has viewers tuning in: robcdee’s broadcasts often capture unexpected material, including some jaw-dropping and blush-inducing moments for those not used to the area. Robcdee experienced one such moment during a January 25 stream, during one of his famous nighttime walks. As he made his way down the street, he passed by a foreign man outside of a convenience store, who appeared to be looking at his phone. The tourist wasn’t alone, either: a woman was standing nearby, trying to speak to him, although her words were muffled by the surrounding noise. “She’s asking to give him a handj*b,” the streamer realized before butting into her efforts to save the tourist from an uncomfortable interaction. “Hey man!” he greeted. “You doin’ alright? This is my friend.” It seems that the woman was immediately aware of what was going on, and instantly fled the scene, apparently not too keen on being filmed trying to accost a stranger. Robcdee went on to ask the stranger (who turned out to be a fellow Australian) if he was alright, who revealed that he was trying to make it back to his Airbnb. Although it’s unclear if the tourist was drunk or not, Rob managed to point him in the right direction, and the two parted ways quite amicably. This isn’t the first time rob has caught a shocking scene on his stream, by far: in fact, he accidentally filmed a man emptying his bladder in the street, after at first confusing his kneeling stance for prayer. Luckily, the streamer was in the right place at the right time to help out an unsuspecting tourist, giving his viewers some unintended entertainment, in the meantime.

IRL streamer shocked after witnessing brutal motorcycle crash in Vietnam – Dexerto
IRL streamer shocked after witnessing brutal motorcycle crash in Vietnam Twitch/teampms_itspatA German Twitch streamer was left absolutely stunned while wandering the streets of the Vietnam capital Hanoi on Sunday night and witnessing a motorcycle crash. The streamer, who goes by TeamPMS_ItsPat, was casually walking down the road when a swarm of people on motorbikes came cruising by. Unfortunately for the cyclists, a large truck was taking up most of the street, making it difficult for cars, let alone bikes, to get by. Adding to the difficulty was a smaller car parked just in front of the truck, leaving a little gap. While Pat watched a car struggle to get through the opening, soon several motorcycles sped up in an attempt to get through the path. The first cyclist was able to successfully fit through the opening while the second decided to go completely around and drive on the sidewalk. As the next few formed a line to get through the gap, one rider couldn’t break in time and crashed into the truck. “Whoa, s**t!” the streamed cried after witnessing the collision. “Oh s**t! Oh s**t! Oh s**t!” Upon closer inspection, it appeared as if the first crash caused another bike to go flying and land on the side of the truck. While the motorist who first crashed was quick to get back on his bike and try to drive off, his bike seemed to have either stalled or he couldn’t control it as a few moments later it was left in the middle of the road. “Holy s**t!” the IRL streamer exclaimed, still unable to get over what he witnessed. Luckily, it seemed like everyone was okay, though the bikes would certainly have seen better days. According to the BBC, the city of Hanoi has over five million motorcycles and plans to ban the popular transport by 2030 to combat pollution. Perhaps pollution is only part of the problem when crashes like this happen on the street.

IRL Twitch streamer runs into “gangsta Mickey Mouse” in Las Vegas – Dexerto
IRL Twitch streamer runs into “gangsta Mickey Mouse” in Las Vegas joeykaotyk, Instagram / DisneyIRL Twitch streamer JOEYKAOTYK had a run-in with an American family icon, but this Mickey Mouse had a bit of a foul mouth on him. Rather than broadcasting from a desktop at home, IRL (in real life) streamers opt for outdoor adventures by streaming their travels abroad, nights out on the town, and other such experiences. However, one streamer’s jaunt in Las Vegas resulted in a hilarious encounter with a popular figure from one of America’s biggest entertainment conglomerates. 600https://www.instagram.com/p/BwokZlyHfgG/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_linkTwitch streamer and breakdancer “JOEYKAOTYK” was walking down the streets of Las Vegas, Nevada with fiance Haremi when the two encountered a man dressed up as Mickey Mouse. Joey addressed the costumed stranger with a playful imitation of the character’s voice – and was met with a surprising response. “Oh, it’s Mickey, haha!” he mimed. “What’s up motherf***er?” Mickey replied, inciting a shocked reply from the streamer. “Oh, sh***,” Joey exclaimed. “It’s a gangsta Mickey Mouse!” “You god**** right!” the stranger replied in Mickey’s voice. Read More: Twitch unveils Founders Badge – Despite Mickey’s adult language, Joey’s fiance wasn’t put off by the encounter, even claiming that she preferred this version of the character to his usual, squeaky-clean image. “Sorry if that ruined your American experience of Disneyland,” the streamer apologized. “No, I love that Mickey more,” Haremi claimed. “You love that Mickey Mouse more?” Joey asked in disbelief. “He said, ‘What’s up mother***er?’ Somebody, clip that, please. Ghetto Mickey Mouse.” 600https://www.instagram.com/p/B3GiT2ihzKV/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_linkWhile this iteration of the Mouse isn’t in line with his general behavior, that comes as little surprise: the famous character stands as one of the highest grossing media franchises of all time, raking in an estimated $70.587 billion according to TitleMax. Surprisingly, the Disney icon isn’t number one on TitleMax’s list. Instead, he stands in fourth place behind the likes of Winnie the Pooh, Hello Kitty, and Pokemon, which has grossed over $90 billion – leaving the Mouse in the dust in favor of Pikachu’s chubby cheeks (although we’re still waiting on a “gangster” version of this character).

IRL streamer saves another woman getting harassed by drunk men in Tokyo – Dexerto
IRL streamer saves another woman getting harassed by drunk men in Tokyo Twitch: RobcdeeIRL Twitch streamer ‘robcdee’ has once again helped a woman in the Shibuya district of Tokyo, alerting police to a group of drunk men harassing her while she was unconscious. Australian streamer robcdee has become somewhat of an angel of Shibuya. The IRL streamer often walks around the streets around the Tokyo district, finding himself helping drunk or distressed people get home after a night out. This can be especially handy given Japan’s culture of constantly approaching women on the streets in an attempt to get a date. During his February 11 livestream, robcdee was wandering around the bustling district. As people were stumbling out of bars, some found themselves face-first on the street, blacked out from a hard night of drinking. The streamer came across one woman who looked to be in a sticky situation with three men crowding around her as she laid motionless on the road. Instead of walking away, robcdee managed to get the attention of two police officers, directing them to the group of men down the alleyway harassing the girl. As they approached, the bystanders turned sheepish, before floundering a bit when the police asked if they knew the girl. The group of three quickly left after the cops rolled through, with the police helping the girl find a safe place to rest. Robcdee quickly departed the scene afterwards to continue his adventures around Tokyo, just as the city was starting to shut up shop for the night. Robcdee has become all too used to being a night watchman in the Shibuya district, often finding himself in the right place to help others in sticky situations. Just the night before on February 10, the IRL streamer helped a woman get away from a stalker by saying he was her friend. The woman broke down after the stalker walked away, thanking the streamer for being there at the right time. While this woman couldn’t give Rob the same gratitude back, at least the IRL streamer can take solace in the fact that he knows she’s safe and that’s all he could ask for.

IRL streamer orders drive-thru fast food in weirdest way possible – Dexerto
IRL streamer orders drive-thru fast food in weirdest way possible Fast food drive-thrus are a fantastic way of getting your food quickly without having to leave your car, but one IRL Twitch streamer decided to order their meal in the most hilarious but weird way. We’ve all been too lazy to cook at one point, and going to the drive-thru seems like God’s answer to our prayers: you don’t have to leave your car, or eat around other people. One IRL streamer didn’t let the fact they don’t have a car stop them from taking full advantage of the drive-thru, by “driving” through to get their food in a grocery pull cart. If you don’t have a car… If you don’t own a car, improvisation is key, as proven by an unknown streamer, who broadcasted his drive-thru escapade on Twitch. The streamer deleted their stream from their channel quickly after the clip was posted, so we were sadly unable to catch their name. In the video, the streamer is in fits of laughter as he rolls up to a Burger King window to pay after placing his food order. The lady working at the window can hardly contain her laughter either, as she takes his card to accept payment. The clip is filmed in a non-English speaking country, so we are unable to understand what they’re saying, but it’s still absolutely hilarious. If you don’t have a vehicle, why should that stop you from enjoying the same privileges as someone who does? (Mobile viewers, click here to watch the following clip on Streamable.) IRL streamers record some crazy things Broadcasting IRL is bound to record some crazy situations sometimes, but one streamer found out the hard way that walking around with your recording equipment on display for all to see can catch the eyes of the wrong people. IRL streamer Brien ‘DailyDasher’ Bry was walking around Central Park in New York City when a thief tried to steal his phone right from his hands, failing miserably with the phone crashing to the floor. Fortunately, two ladies walking behind him shouted a warning to him just seconds before the attempted robbery, giving him just enough time to turn around, stopping the thief dead in their tracks. If this teaches people anything, it’s to not flash around expensive equipment in a public place – you never know who’s watching.

IRL streamer using phone while driving almost hits pedestrians – twice [UPDATED] – Dexerto
IRL streamer using phone while driving almost hits pedestrians – twice [UPDATED] pajalockk TwitchA Twitch IRL streamer was seen recklessly driving through the streets of a town in Poland while swerving through pedestrians has now been banned. Travel and Outdoor streamer ‘pajalockk’ has received his second ban for infractions on the road. While the streamer was able to start his Twitch broadcast, it was quickly ended soon after in light of the ban. Since it’s his second offense of this type, it’ll be up to Twitch to decide if he’ll be getting a 30-day ban or an indefinite ban, as many suspect it will be. 600Twitch lets IRL streamers take their broadcasting adventures to wherever they might want to go, but only if they’re abiding by the laws of their land; something pajalockk neglected to do behind the wheel. Streamers have found numerous ways of safely taking their livestreams on the road, and while it seems like pajalockk had employed some of those strategies, it doesn’t look like he followed through all the way. In a June 10 broadcast, pajalockk was seen rushing through the streets, narrowly avoiding a collision with pedestrians on two separate occasions within the same 30-second clip. Taken from a since deleted VOD, the streamer made a left turn where there were two people crossing the street. The tires can be heard faintly screeching as he made his turn, but it looks like the people crossing the street had to rush halfway through to avoid being hit. While that instance shows more reckless driving than negligence of the road, the very next crosswalk was far more alarming. Going almost 50 kilometers per hour (about 31 miles per hour) the streamer divides his attention to his phone where he’s seen switching from his Twitch app where you can see his Chat, to his GPS. Further ahead, a couple can be seen crossing the road from the driver’s left side, but they abruptly stop when they notice the streamer’s car isn’t slowing down. While the pedestrians stopped before they got into a vulnerable spot, the streamer was late to notice them as he jerked to the right just in case. Streamers and bad driving, name a better duo Audiences have been getting accustomed to seeing terrible (and dangerous) driving from streamers. There’s been many instances of streamers nearly falling asleep behind the wheel or just fumbling through intersections. While Twitch has a fine line of what is regarded as a break of TOS, close calls like these might signal to streamers to wait until they arrived at their destination before turning on their broadcast.

IRL streamer mortified after elephant farts in her face while live – Dexerto
IRL streamer mortified after elephant farts in her face while live Twitch: @justkethAn IRL Twitch streamer’s majestic moment with elephants quickly turned sour when one of the animals passed gas in her face. The personality was left holding her nose after the unexpected moment. [jwplayer QIWQDyD7] In real life (IRL) broadcasts are wildly popular on Twitch as viewers never know what they are going to get when tuning in. Streamers that interact with the world live in front of an audience often are confronted with the unexpected as literally anything can happen. That is what happened to one personality who was documenting her swim with elephants while visiting Phuket Island in Thailand. The online entertainer was left feeling unsettled after one of the animals abruptly farted inches away from her face. IRL elephant stream doesn’t go as planned The streamer ‘justketh’ was broadcasting live in Phuket, and arranged to swim with elephants during her November 21 stream. However, things quickly took a turn when one of the animals’ trainers told her to swim up behind the creature. Right as she was about to climb up on the back of it, the mammal suddenly let out a massive fart which sent the water rumbling. Unfortunately, the IRL entertainer’s face was literally inches away from the creature’s backside. The Twitch personality immediately screamed and backed up, before laughing at the situation. However once the smell hit her, she pinched her nose shut and exclaimed “Ahhhh! No! That is bleh!” This isn’t the first time justketh has had a hilarious run in with an animal while streaming. In November, the content creator was abruptly attacked by a goose which many called the real life version of the hit indie title “Untitled Goose Game” by developer House House. https://twitter.com/Dexerto/status/1324137937618034688 While the elephant’s flatulence was certainly unpleasant, the Twitch personality was able to eventually continue her swim and take some pretty incredible photos with the majestic mammals. IRL broadcasts are as real as it gets, as you literally never know how the world is going to act in front of your camera lens. And this is especially true for animals, it seems.

IRL streamer mortified after rude Twitch donation plays loudly in public – Dexerto
IRL streamer mortified after rude Twitch donation plays loudly in public Twitch: GingerBeardieAn IRL streamer was left red in the face after a rude donation played out loud while he was shopping at grocery store chain Tesco. The devious viewer had the Twitch personality running for the door. IRL broadcasts are as unpredictable as it gets, as you never know what you are going to run into in the real world. However, sometimes the unexpected danger comes from within the streamer’s own chat. While shopping at the grocery store, a Twitch personality learned this the hard way when an extremely crude donation played out loud for everyone in public to hear. Streamer ‘GingerBeardie’ is a British IRL streamer and mental health advocate. However, the Twitch partner was left embarrassed when his broadcast in a Tesco store went south quickly due to devious viewers. While at the check out, a donation came in that read out loud, “Yes baby, happy Valentine’s Day. When you get home my ginger s**yness…” before going into a very crude act that needs no imagination. Read More: Top 10 best Tfue workout Photoshops – The streamer looked down at his camera, and told the person who wrote the donation, “Yo, can you shut up bruv!?” as he continued to scan his items. Another donation, however, pinged and read, “There’s no way I’m paying for half of this s**t, you can get f**ked!” Embarrassed, he shook his head and said, “for f**k’s sake” as a Tesco employee approached him. His chat quickly caught on, and began to write in so they could troll the streamer. “I’m stealing the food right now. Stay back or I’ll run away. I’m not paying for it. F**k you guys. F**k Tesco!” a donation played for everyone in the store to hear. The streamer quickly began to bolt for the door, after the last message mentioned theft. He then burst into laughter as he ran, before exiting the place where he exhaled, “Oh my God. Yo, I’m never going back, bruv. I’m never going back!” Mortified, the streamer exclaimed, “I’m f**ked. I definitely got to move now. Holy f**k!” He then explained to the viewer why he almost got him into trouble. “You f**ked me!” and said the donation’s bad timing happened in front of an employee trying to help him. While the situation was certainly embarrassing, the streamer seemed to take it in good strides. Although it’s highly unlikely that he will want to step back into that specific Tesco store again. If nothing else, this was a lesson that just like the real world, you have to be prepared for the unexpected. And that also includes from within your own audience.

Popular streamer Mitch Jones responds to Twitch ban for reading chat while driving – Dexerto
Popular streamer Mitch Jones responds to Twitch ban for reading chat while driving Screengrab via TwitchTwitch streamer Mitch Jones has received a short suspension from the platform for looking at his phone while driving during a recent stream. Mitch Jones is a popular member of the Twitch IRL [in real-life] streaming community and can regularly be found in the Just Chatting category for a few hours at a time. However, fans of the streamer will have to find somewhere else to go for the next few days as Jones received a week-long ban after his June 12 stream, where he was out and about in his car with fellow streamer Miss Tricky. Mitch Jones is a popular member of the Just Chatting category on Twitch. The streamer notified fans for the reasoning behind his ban on June 21 tweeting: “As many of you can see I’ve been banned from Twitch for a week for looking at my phone while driving. I completely agree I’m putting myself and others in danger and I need to be more responsible. Thanks.” As many of you can see I’ve been banned from Twitch for a week for looking at my phone while driving I completely agree I’m putting myself and others in danger and I need to be more responsible. Thanks :crab: — Mitch Jones (@MitchJonez) June 21, 2019 In a follow-up post, the popular streamer issued a message to his fellow broadcasters about streaming while driving. He stated that while he may not have been holding his phone at all times while driving, he was distracted and for that, he deserved the suspension. He continued on: “Even if you’re not looking at the chat or whatever, I feel like we all get carried away with text to speech and streaming in general – we’re trying to entertain the viewers. That creates a very distracting environment for a driver. I just wanted to tell other broadcasters to be careful.” Just some thoughts on driving while streaming. pic.twitter.com/UaYVYZkWnB — Mitch Jones (@MitchJonez) June 22, 2019 As a part of the nearly five-hour-long stream, the streamer chatted with his viewers between drives but was seen holding his phone at one point without having any hands on the steering wheel as Miss Tricky worked the camera for him. While Mitch didn’t confirm that this exact moment was the part of his stream that landed him in trouble, users on social media quickly pointed to this specific incident. Just hours before the ban was issued, Redditor TheMaverick13589 commented: “I’d guess [he was banned] because he was driving while reading chat on the phone without a hand on the steering wheel.” While some smaller streamers do regularly stream while driving, Mitch’s ban may just be a warning to everybody about following the rules of the road instead of worrying about content.

IRL streamer Mitch Jones banned from Twitch after showing his racist DM – Dexerto
IRL streamer Mitch Jones banned from Twitch after showing his racist DM Mitch Jones, TwitchMitch Jones is a popular streamer on Twitch, known for his humorous IRL streams and the shenanigans that occur during his broadcasts – but one of his streams resulted in a quick ban due to racist content. While Jones is known across the IRL streaming scene for his outrageous antics and over-the-top interactions with other streamers, one of these interactions saw his channel banned on September 20, after he accidentally leaked his private Discord messages. Although it’s never a good idea to expose private conversations with persons who might not consent to having their personal business aired out for all to see, Jones’ Discord chat contained a racial slur – a slur that he, himself, had typed out toward another user, which viewers could see for a split second before he closed the window. Unsurprisingly, Jones’ account was quickly suspended following the debacle, with searches for his channel on Twitch yielding nothing at the time of writing. However, those weren’t the only messages leaked during his September 20 stream: the IRL star likewise exposed his Twitter DMs, which showed possible beef between himself and fellow streamer ICE_POSEIDON. “Thanks for calling me fake after I helped…” a preview for POSEIDON’s message reads, followed by even further potential drama with streamer Mizkif, who wrote, “I don’t even want that exposure anymore.” This wouldn’t be Jones’ first ban from Twitch, either: the streamer was also met with a week-long ban from the site after streaming while driving during a June 12 broadcast – a ban that he ultimately agreed with. Rather than fighting the ban, Jones claimed that he “completely agreed” with Twitch’s action on the matter and admitted that he was “putting myself and others in danger, and I need to be more responsible.” As many of you can see I’ve been banned from Twitch for a week for looking at my phone while driving I completely agree I’m putting myself and others in danger and I need to be more responsible. Thanks :crab: — Mitch Jones (@MitchJonez) June 21, 2019 Unlike his previous ban, Jones has yet to publicly address his latest suspension at the time of writing. Twitch likewise has not confirmed the direct reason for his September 20 ban – but after exposing himself for using racist language, it comes as little surprise to fans and critics alike that a suspension was not far behind.
