iiTzTimmy defends fan’s controversial arm tattoo of his name amid criticism Twitter: dianawyaaa/Red BullTwitch streaming superstar iiTzTimmy has defended a fan’s controversial arm tattoo of his name amid online criticism. When it comes to the fans of some of the biggest streamers in the world, some can get quite devotional. Be it buying as much merch a creator releases or regularly donating to them. However, some choose a more permanent way to show their love for their favorite streamers by getting tattoos. But it’s not exactly the most popular. A fan of Apex streaming star iiTzTimmy got a tattoo of his name on their arm during TwitchCon and was subsequently criticized for it. However, iiTzTimmy has now defended the tattoo. The fan who got the tattoo explained why she got it, saying, “I didn’t only do this for Timmy but for the memories with my friends.” She continued, “This is the most fun I’ve had in a long time and one of the happiest moments I’ve had in my life. Yes, a lot of people will say it’s cringe but to be honest I don’t give a f***, it’s my body, and makes me happy so it is what it is.” Despite the intentions and meaning of the tattoo, many on Twitter still took to criticizing the fan’s decision to tattoo iiTzTimmy’s signature on her arm, with many calling it “sad” and “cringe.” However, iiTzTimmy went out to defend the fan’s tattoo, saying, “A guy did the same thing a while and got no hate for it.” “Doesn’t matter what the tattoo is, it’s the memories you made at Twitchcon anyway. F*** what anyone else has to say about it. It’s your body and your life. Do what makes you happy.” Timmy even went on to have a back-and-forth with a commenter, arguing with them, even saying that if it was any other name on the fan’s arm his opinions wouldn’t change

  • iiTzTimmy fires back at sexist content creator after unwanted inclusion in YouTube video – Dexerto

iiTzTimmy fires back at sexist content creator after unwanted inclusion in YouTube video Instagram:iiTzTimmyTwitch star iiTzTimmy has distanced from a self-described “incel” content creator after they used clips of the Apex Legends streamer to say things he doesn’t agree with. After entering into the Top 10 Twitch streamers this month as part of his ‘year-long’ subathon, Timmy ‘iiTzTimmy’ An has proved he has staying power beyond his insane challenge streams. The streamer has also been making waves for standing against the rampant misogyny that is seen ubiquitously throughout online gaming communities. However, these clips have now been used against Timmy. Self-titled “incel” ‘Think Before You Sleep’ used snippets of the streamer’s content in the video “How Feminist Ideas Make Everyone Weak.” Timmy has condemned the video, saying the clips were taken out of context. my clips were taken out of context in a video that invalidates/diminishes the experiences women go through in the gaming space. i do not agree with any of the ideals portrayed in this video AT ALL and believe we as a community should continue to do better https://t.co/3NYa3NtwqS — 100T iiTzTimmy (@iiTzTimmy) May 31, 2022 “My clips were taken out of context in a video that invalidates the experiences women go through in the gaming space,” Timmy said. “I do not agree with any of the ideals portrayed in this video at all and believe we as a community should continue to do better. In a follow up tweet, he added: “Although the video doesn’t necessarily shed me in a bad light, I believe it is still important to speak up and continue to create a space that welcomes women.” This is in stark contrast to the video’s argument that women are harassed in video games as part of the “natural order” of the world. The tweet has sparked an avalanche of people expressing support for iiTzTimmy, drawing attention to his attempts to better the online gaming sphere. you’ve always been a welcoming voice to the women of the gaming scene, just know it doesn’t go unappreciated at all. 🥲 — TSM Janey (@ItzJaney) May 31, 2022 With harassment of women covering the full gamut of the gaming experience, from the boards of Activision-Blizzard to individual stalkers being arrested, stands like Timmy’s are all the more important in squashing sexist beliefs before they become dangerous.

  • iilluminaughtii called out for massive editing mistakes amid plagiarism allegations – Dexerto

iilluminaughtii called out for massive editing mistakes amid plagiarism allegations iilluminaughtiiiilluminaughtii has been in hot water since Hbomberguy’s allegations against her, claiming that she plagiarized in several of her videos. However, disabling the comments on her videos and blocking her detractors has led to her being entirely unaware that she left out several minutes of voice-over in her most recent video. It’s safe to say Hbomberguy’s video claiming plagiarism runs rampant on YouTube made waves. James Somerton was the biggest talking point of his video, and also the one who was most affected considering he’s pulled almost everything down, including a poorly-received apology video. Meanwhile, iilluminaughtii has been fairly silent on the matter. She accused LegalEagle of plagiarism in early 2023 and made an apology video back then amid the resulting backlash that included accusations from Hbomberguy, but she’s been silent on the matter since. Now, as a result of disabling comments and blocking many of those who were calling her out for plagiarism, she seems to not have noticed that a video of hers is missing a massive portion of its voice-over. iilluminaughtii video contains 5 minutes of awkward silence When it comes to making long-form YouTube content, editing mistakes happen. Especially in the case that a YouTuber edits their own videos and doesn’t have a team behind them. It’s entirely understandable for someone to make a small and unnoticed mistake in a video, one they can decide to either leave in or edit. YT even has tools that can do things like mute copyrighted audio if a video gets claimed, allowing a creator to just mute a portion of a video rather than it being taken down. However, missing out on nearly 5 minutes of voice-over in a video that’s 23 minutes long is a glaring omission. At the time of writing, the video has been live for almost 24 hours without being fixed. The entire section labeled “Hawaii,” which runs from 14:00 – 18:43, has her voice entirely muted, with the video going on as normal. Music interludes and images give the viewer an idea of what she was trying to explain, but none of the actual voice-over work is there. Hbomberguy would be the one to call her out for this once again, posting a clip of the video to prove his point. One user on Twitter even pointed out that one look at the automatically generated transcript of the video would have revealed this error. Hbomberguy claimed this is only the type of error that happens if someone’s “completely asleep at the wheel” with their content, with many of his fans and fellow YouTubers genuinely shocked that she omitted almost a quarter of her video’s voice-over.

  • iiTzTimmy calls out fans and asks them not to touch or kiss him when meeting – Dexerto

iiTzTimmy calls out fans and asks them not to touch or kiss him when meeting TwitchTwitch streamer iiTzTimmy is the latest victim with fans crossing lines when meeting their favorite online stars, as he has pled with them not to kiss him when meeting. Celebrities have been forced to deal with fans crossing lines when meeting. From having things thrown at them while performing on stage to being stalked, some fans appear not to know when they’ve gone too far. And these days, the biggest streamers and online creators are no different to A-List celebrities in this regard. On August 23, iiTzTimmy, publicly expressed his concern about fans crossing the line when meeting him. He said although he loves meeting fans, he needs them to be respectful. He wrote: “Hey guys, please do not kiss me or touch me inappropriately when meeting me. It makes me very uncomfortable not only because I have a girlfriend, but also because it’s just a line you shouldn’t cross. I love meeting y’all and talking with y’all, but please do so respectfully. Thank you!” His tweet appeared to come out of the blue, but presumably, he has had a recent encounter with a fan or group of fans who touched him inappropriately and even kissed him. Fans shocked as Timmy forced to set boundaries Fans were shocked to learn this had happened, as well as many fellow streamers. Liquid member Tiffa said: “It’s sad you even need to tweet this.” Streamer Jessica49 replied, “I’m so sorry that happened to you that’s so invasive. People do not understand personal boundaries.” Another said: “The fact he has to post this baffles my mind. It seems a lot of people are forgetting boundaries lately just because they are a “fan” like I don’t understand people honestly!” Timmy is certainly not the first big streamer to have to post similar messages. In 2019, Pokimane revealed she even required bodyguards at TwitchCon due to overly invasive fans.

  • iDubbbz wants to “take out Jake Paul” after Creator Clash event – Dexerto

iDubbbz wants to “take out Jake Paul” after Creator Clash event YouTube: The Iced Coffee Hour / Amanda Westcott, SHOWTIMEYouTuber iDubbbz says that his main goal for getting in the influencer boxing world amid his upcoming Creator Clash event is to ultimately take out the trend’s biggest star — Jake Paul. The influencer boxing craze is nearing its peak as stars like Jake Paul, KSI, and more are set for upcoming matches this summer. Paul is one of the biggest names in the space, boasting a 5-0 record with 4 victories by KO… and he’s calling out some of the most prominent fighters in MMA and boxing to touch gloves in the ring sometime soon. Alongside these forthcoming summer fights is iDubbbz’s charity boxing event, Creator Clash. This event is different from the rest, as it is donating all proceeds to various charities and conscripting some unlikely faces for a seriously stacked card. iDubbbz recently made an appearance on the latest episode of ‘The Iced Coffee Hour’ podcast to discuss this upcoming project and why he chose to pursue boxing in the first place. His answer wasn’t unexpected — but it’s definitely a callout. iDubbbz says that his main ambition for pursuing boxing is to eventually put Jake Paul in his place. iDubbbz says he wants to fight Jake Paul “Why boxing?” one of the podcast hosts asked. “You know… gotta take out Jake Paul,” he answered. “Gotta kill him. Gotta kill him in the ring. Someone’s gotta do it. I’ve been disappointed so far ’cause no one’s done it yet.” “We’ve had Ben Askren, Tyron Woodley. We were counting on these guys, and they didn’t show up!” he added. (Topic begins at 2:40) That’s not all; Creator Clash may be iDubbbz’s first boxing extravaganza, but it might not be his last. The YouTuber says he hopes to do more of these events in the future if he’s “successfully able to climb the ladder.” For now, fans have several weeks to wait until Creator Clash takes place on May 14. Until then, check out our interview with iDubbbz’s upcoming opponent, Doctor Mike, who got the chance to spar with boxing champ Amanda Serrano.

  • iDubbbz’s girlfriend banned on Twitch following controversy – Dexerto

iDubbbz’s girlfriend banned on Twitch following controversy AnisaJomha, InstagramAnisa Jomha, streamer and girlfriend of the popular content creator iDubbbz, has been banned on Twitch following the recent drama surrounding her and the YouTuber. iDubbbz has built a following of over 7.9 million subscribers and is best known for his popular content cop series, where he has called creators out for their unsavory behavior. However, the YouTube star received a lot of backlash after many fans criticized the star for ‘hypocrisy’ when his girlfriend Anisa Jomha shared that she would be selling private photos through a subscription service. Many iDubbbz fans began to create memes of the content creator calling him a “simp” for defending his girlfriend through the drama, which led to him firing back at critics in his March 28 upload. Some of the biggest YouTube stars even weighed in on the controversy with the likes of PewDiePie and Leafy, who returned from his hiatus specifically to criticize iDubbbz, uploading videos on the topic. Once the controversy had cooled down a little, Anisa returned to streaming on Twitch, however, it does not appear to have gone quite as well as she would’ve hoped. ❌ Twitch Partner “”AnisaJomha”” (@AnisaJomha) has been banned! ❌https://t.co/eeByxvHnfG#twitch #ban #firstban #partner #twitchpartner 🇭🇺 — StreamerBans (@StreamerBans) April 11, 2020 Anisa’s channel was banned from Twitch on April 12, although it remains unclear just what caused the moderation team to strike her account, leaving many viewers confused as to why. Some have suggested that the ban may have been due to Twitch’s recent policy update, where they revealed a new set of strict guidelines that could affect some streamers. Twitch has also accidentally banned streamers in the past, such as when TF Blade was mistaken to have used a racial slur. The platform does no comment publicly on community guidelines strikes to respect the privacy of users. The streamer has not yet responded to her ban on the platform publicly, however, as it is her first infringement, it is likely that her channel will be back up within the coming weeks.

  • Iggy Azalea hits outs at YouTube for not featuring new song ‘Sip It’ – Dexerto

Iggy Azalea hits outs at YouTube for not featuring new song ‘Sip It’ WikiMedia Commons: Justin Higuchi/YouTubeMusic star Iggy Azalea has hit out at YouTube as her new song, Sip It, was not being recommended to viewers or used on the trending tab despite her clearing it with them. As soon as a new song or music video hits YouTube, the views skyrocket as fans flock to hear the new track. Fans of K-Pop group BTS have been known for breaking records – and even breaking YouTube itself – when a new song comes out. However, on the flip side, Australian singer Iggy Azalea has had a few issues as YouTube has apparently not been being featuring or recommending her new song, Sip It, despite her getting the music video cleared by the platform. Iggy’s new song hit YouTube on April 2 with a unique music video that jumps into a deep psychedelic hole with twerking and scantily clad dancers being the name of the game. While it was storming up the charts on other platforms, it apparently wasn’t being recommended to anyone on YouTube due to “the content of the video” which the Aussie says she had cleared with YouTube. Read More: Which TikTokers have launched music careers? – “I’ve waited 48 hours and still can’t get a real answer from anyone at YouTube about why they have far more controversial videos in their trending list as week speak,” she tweeted, noting that streaming music is a big thing for her given she’s an independent musician. “I sent my video into their staff a week prior and they told me it was perfect, no issues. I don’t really feel like it’s fair, and I really wish someone at YouTube would resolve it.” https://twitter.com/IGGYAZALEA/status/1378490904277786629 As fans rallied around her, Iggy continued calling out YouTube as “unfair” given similar videos had gotten featured before. She noted that while trending is based on what new song is doing well with organic numbers, there is still a selection process at play. “They added in videos with far less traffic & when I asked why they told me they have to “review the content in the video because it may be too controversial for trending” the Aussie posted. https://twitter.com/IGGYAZALEA/status/1378495153699135491 The song has, as of writing, hit over 3 million views on YouTube and has appeared on the trending page for music. However, it is below older songs that haven’t come close to the same number of views. It remains to be seen if things go any further and if YouTube will respond in some form.

  • iDubbbz sends warning to Alex Wassabi as Creator Clash 2 approaches – Dexerto

iDubbbz sends warning to Alex Wassabi as Creator Clash 2 approaches Creator ClashYouTube star iDubbbz is gearing up for Creator Clash 2 and has a special message for his opponent, Alex Wassabi, which he released in an exclusive interview with Dexerto. Creator Clash was the first influencer-boxing event of its kind, sending all proceeds and purses to charities like the American Heart Association and the Alzheimer’s Association of America in a $1 million donation. The event also featured the first-ever female influencer boxing match between TikToker Yodeling Haley and streamer JustaMinx. This year, Creator Clash 2 has bigger and better fights than ever before, with four female influencer-boxing matches on the docket and even a WWE star stepping into the fray. We spoke with iDubbbz about his upcoming event, which he promised will have “more” of what fans want to see in terms of top-tier entertainment from high-profile influencers, and offered insight into how organizing such a massive boxing bonanza actually works. iDubbbz reveals why he chose Alex Wassabi as his boxing opponent This year’s Creator Clash features a headline fight between OG YouTubers Alex Wassabi and iDubbbz. When asked about why he chose Wassabi as his opponent, iDubbbz claimed that it was all about finding someone with both the appropriate physical stature and a fitting impact on internet culture — not necessarily about holding an online grudge. “Naturally what I think I’m looking for, especially when we’re just kind of randomly recruiting people for this event, is people who have an impact on the culture,” he told us. “Alex Wassabi is an OG YouTuber. He might not be familiar to, you know, new-age Zoomers on TikTok and stuff, and I might not be, as well. But I think our goal is to attract people from all different generations. You know, some people aren’t gonna speak to some of the audience, but I think Alex Wassabi definitely speaks to a group of millennials who were heavily on YouTube during a certain time.” “He’s passionate about boxing, which is great. You know, I want the fight to be competitive. We’ve sort of said like, ‘Hey, if Alex Wassabi drops out, or there’s an injury or something, we gotta replace him with someone who’s gonna bring the heat and is really into boxing.’ So, I mean, that’s the main goal. And Alex has obviously seemed to check enough of those boxes to be like, alright, like, sweet, we got someone who’s going to give it his all for the main event.” In 2022, Alex Wassabi did drop out of a fight with KSI due to an injury he acquired during sparring. iDubbbz says this is a common occurrence in the sport, pointing out that YouTuber Ididathing had to pull out of Creator Clash 2 after receiving an injury, resulting in the cancelation of his bout against GoodGuyFitz. iDubbbz explains how Andrea Botez vs Michelle Khare happened However, this allowed another big fight to happen in its place. On March 16, it was announced that chess personality and streamer Andrea Botez would be facing off against YouTube star Michelle Khare, marking another major female match on the card. “It was a convenient circumstance,” iDubbbz said of this particular bout. “We were talking to them, and we were like, ‘We’ll definitely put you guys on the next Creator Clash if we do this again, but right now, the card’s really full. So, you know, for this to happen, you guys would have to be really lucky.’ And you know, good for them. They stuck to it and they stayed in shape. So we don’t feel like it’s a mismatch or anything like that. And that’s the main fear with adding a fight so late to the card. I wouldn’t really feel comfortable doing it any other way. But since they’ve both been boxing for a decent amount of time, it’s like, oh, this is perfect.” Creator Clash has made history for women in the influencer-boxing space and continues to break boundaries in the scene. For iDubbbz, this is a major win on all sides — one he has thanked his wife, Anisa, for helping bring to life. “Anisa makes it easy because she’s the promoter of the show. I think it’s very easy for women in the space to come and talk to her about it, and know that they’re getting an honest back-and-forth about what to expect, how much training they’re gonna have to do, you know, how serious it is. For us, equal representation is good. If I have an influencer card that’s majority women, that would be super cool, as well.” “We’re very welcome to that, because to be honest, like there’s a lot of female influencers who are so ready to try something new, and I don’t think there’s as much insecurity about winning or losing. They just wanna have a new experience and challenge themselves. So I think it’s super worthwhile, and all the women that we’ve worked with have been so easy to work with. Creator Clash 2023, we’re gonna try to do the same.” iDubbbz calls boxing a “complete life change” iDubbbz says that boxing has made a major change to his life, essentially forcing him to pull a 180-degree turn from his previous lifestyle. In fact, it’s forced him to confront some issues of his own, which he says has been “good” for him. “It’s given me a lot of self-confidence and it’s allowed me to… I don’t know, I’ve learned more about different dynamics, like me and my coach,” he explained. “We’ve really had some tough moments because I get kind of defiant with authority sometimes. So it’s been a big challenge, but, it’s been good for me.” “I think it’s been good for a lot of aspects of my life. I never really did a sport, so this whole thing is completely new. I’ve pretty much had to redo everything. I used to play video games all the time. Now, I’m not playing any video games. I used to hang out with friends more, and now I’m very rarely doing that, or my friends are basically my sparring partners and other people on Creator Clash. So it’s a complete life change.” iDubbbz reveals why John Morrison wanted to join Creator Clash 2 This year’s Creator Clash features some huge names in the influencer space — and even some mainstream personalities like WWE star John Morrison, who will be facing off with Epic Meal Time’s Harley in a Heavyweight bout. iDubbbz explained how Morrison got on the card, and says he’s more than happy for the worlds of wrestling and influencer-boxing to cross over, specifically referencing Logan Paul’s contract with the WWE. “Thankfully, and this is how everything’s been going on, [it’s all] mutuals. He walked out with Dad, Nathan, last year. And they’re good friends. They’ve worked on a lot of projects together, but I think just because he was there and he saw how amazing the crowd and the fans are, he was just like, ‘This is awesome.’ Like, ‘What a cool experience.’ And he just wants to try new things.” “He’s been wrestling forever, so it’s like, what a cool path for him to take. I think part of that, as well, is seeing people like Logan Paul entering the wrestling space. And it’s like, well, hell, let’s do it in reverse! I feel like that’s the first time that we’ve seen the reverse happen, so far. I feel like there’s so much room for possibilities, after this.” iDubbbz sends a message to Alex Wassabi: “Protect your spine” iDubbbz is the first influencer to face off with Alex Wassabi following Wassabi’s fight against KSI’s little brother, Deji, in 2022. Wassabi notably trounced Deji, prompting some back-and-forth between him and KSI. When asked if iDubbbz was prepared for some possible trash talk from KSI or Deji, the YouTuber said he was “open” to playing on the dynamic — but says that at the end of the day, there has to be a balance between entertainment and being a good sport. “I mean, we might build on some of that, because Alex and I are very different people,” he answered. “I’ve had a much more edgy history and he’s a little bit more clean cut, and he’s wholesome, you know. I like the idea of playing with that dynamic a little bit more and seeing where it goes. I think what makes the show different is just being able to appreciate the combat sports side of things, and seeing how two people who, you know, aren’t trying to strangle each other on the street will actually go in there and fight their hearts out, and it’s still an entertaining fight. You know, people still like it.” To end, iDubbbz promised “more” entertainment for viewers at this year’s Creator Clash, citing major influencers like Jacksepticeye, Markiplier, and even Amouranth, who will be hosting the event as talent. “This is a very serious and dangerous sport, which is why we have the Florida Athletic Commission involved,” he said. “We’re going super hard in making it as professional as possible. We’ve given all these fighters like nine plus months, so everyone’s gonna be super dialed in for their fights.” “It’s gonna be much more dialed in than last year. And we also so much between, and in front of, and behind all of the fights — so much more tertiary entertainment. We have Jack and Mark for a pre-show, and Amouranth will be there.” “If anyone feels like they wanted more out of last year’s show, this year is going to just be more. It’s more fights, it’s more influencers that you wanna see, it’s just a lot more of what people liked last year. I’m super excited about that.” When asked if he had a message for Alex Wassabi, iDubbbz gave a single and succinct reply: “Protect your spine.” Creator Clash 2 is taking place on Saturday, April 15, at the Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida. • iDubbbz reveals his motivation behind Doctor Mike fight – Dexerto

iDubbbz reveals his motivation behind Doctor Mike fight YouTube: Jeff Wittek, Doctor MikeYouTube star iDubbbz is testing his might in the boxing ring against fellow influencer Doctor Mike to see if he can back up his “trash talk” Content Cop videos with his fists. OG YouTuber Ian ‘iDubbbz’ Washburn is about to change the influencer boxing landscape in a huge way with his upcoming charity boxing extravaganza, ‘Creator Clash.’ Creator Clash is pitting a slew of unconventional influencers against each other in the boxing ring all in the name of charity, with multiple charitable organizations benefiting from the proceeds. Of course, just because this is a charity event doesn’t mean there can’t be a little trash talk involved — and iDubbbz is certainly familiar with the concept. iDubbbz is widely known for his ‘Content Cop’ series of YouTube videos, where he goes in on certain content creators across the internet and ‘exposes’ their behavior. In these videos, it’s not uncommon for iDubbbz to throw around a few insults toward those he’s ‘investigating’… which he joked is part of the reason why he’s undertaking this massive boxing mission. In an interview with YouTuber and podcast host Jeff Wittek, iDubbbz said he’s eager to see if he can cash a check with his fists that he writes with his mouth. “It’s a challenge for me to not trash talk. That’s why I’m doing this. To see if I can talk with these guys instead of this thing,” he joked, pointing to his fists and then to his mouth. Although it’s been a hot minute since we’ve seen a Content Cop video from iDubbbz, he laughingly assured Jeff that he’d make one the very next day if he ends up losing to Doctor Mike. (Topic begins at 1:52) In the past, iDubbbz bantered that the entire reason he started boxing was to take Jake Paul down a peg, joking that Paul’s many opponents (including UFC champ Tyron Woodley) failed to bring him to the canvas like he was hoping. For now, we’ll just have to wait until May 14 to see if iDubbbz’s Content Cop trash-talking skills have translated to his boxing prowess. But until then, we’ll be awaiting the press conference on May 13.

In our interview with Washburn, he named YouTube star Valkyrae as a possible contender, although no influencers have been officially confirmed. Of course, iDubbbz couldn’t resist taunting his opponent, Doctor Mike, joking that the YouTuber’s punches “don’t have knockout power.” What a war!@RealDoctorMike and @Idubbbz put on a show Dr Mike was super technical but Ian made this a dog fight If you did not respect these two as fighters, you better now#creatorclash pic.twitter.com/20q3jasqcF — Dexerto (@Dexerto) May 15, 2022 Although his fight with Doctor Mike had some flubs (including an accidental mess-up with round length), the event was nothing short of a smashing success, and we can’t wait to see Creator Clash come back to the Yuengling Arena soon.

  • iDubbbz reveals Valkyrae wants to fight in next Creator Clash boxing event – Dexerto

iDubbbz reveals Valkyrae wants to fight in next Creator Clash boxing event YouTube: Valkyrae / Twitch: EsfandTViDubbbz’s ‘Creator Clash’ event made a huge impact on the influencer boxing space… and there’s a major female streamer who wants a piece of the action next time. YouTube star Ian ‘iDubbbz’ Washburn’s boxing challenge toward fellow influencer ‘RiceGum’ took a turn that no one anticipated. Rather than facing off against the Clout House YouTuber, iDubbbz ended up orchestrating one of the biggest influencer boxing events of all time: Creator Clash. Creator Clash boasted a stacked card of unconventional influencers who put it all on the line in the name of charity. The response from fans was nothing short of ecstatic. The entire Yuengling Arena sold out, and the event tallied over 100,000 pay-per-view streams. Almost instantly, a slew of top influencers sounded off on Twitter, saying that they also wanted a piece of the proverbial boxing pie. It looks like Creator Clash was quite an inspiration for quite a few social media stars… including YouTube streamer ‘Valkyrae.’ We got the chance to sit down with iDubbbz to discuss his thoughts on Creator Clash, as well as the event making history by hosting the first-ever women’s influencer boxing match between Twitch streamer ‘JustaMinx’ and TikToker ‘Yodeling Haley.’ According to iDubbbz, a slew of female influencers have reached out for a chance at getting on the next Creator Clash card — a trend he credits to his wife, Anisa, who played a big part in organizing the combat sports showdown. “That was definitely spearheaded by Anisa,” iDubbbz said. “She initially wanted to fight, and we needed to keep a female fight on the card. I’m super glad we did it because a lot of women have shown an interest in wanting to box now — a lot of female influencers. I think that’s great for women, I think it’s great for the space. Hopefully, we see more influencer cards packed full of women.” A TKO victory for @JustaMinx what a win for the Twitch streamer#creatorclash pic.twitter.com/OMpw02Oboq — Dexerto (@Dexerto) May 14, 2022 While iDubbbz couldn’t name everyone shooting their shot for a chance in the ring, he did say that YouTuber Valkyrae is one of the big names who showed some significant interest in participating in another Creator Clash. “I’m not sure what her decision is, but Valkyrae has shown some interest,” he revealed. “There’s also some female animators, as well. I don’t know any of their specific channel names right now. There’s quite a few, almost too many to name right now. In general, there’s equal interest from female and male influencers to be in any new boxing events.” This news follows a similar statement Valkyrae made a day prior to our interview, where she claimed she’d already been approached to participate in several upcoming influencer boxing events. While it’s currently unclear what the future of the next Creator Clash will be, one thing is for certain: It has inspired a slew of creators to practice the ‘sweet science’ for themselves and is encouraging more women to step into the ring in a welcome and exciting move for influencer boxing.

  • iDubbbz reveals challenges of organizing Creator Clash in Jake Paul boxing era – Dexerto

iDubbbz reveals challenges of organizing Creator Clash in Jake Paul boxing era YouTube: iDubbbzTVOG YouTube star Ian ‘iDubbbz’ Washburn is putting together one of the most ambitious influencer boxing events yet — but orchestrating such a massive project is far from easy. Influencer boxing has become one of the hottest internet trends over the last half-decade. The craze was initially kick-started by British YouTubers ‘KSI’ and Joe Weller in 2018… but KSI’s later bout against former rival Logan Paul would truly put the fad on the map. Since then, Jake Paul has become the influencer boxing poster boy, boasting an undefeated 5-0 record and opponents that range from professional basketball players to former UFC champs. iDubbbz, however, wants to put a different spin on this particular niche. We got the chance to sit down with him to discuss the ins and outs of his upcoming charity boxing event, ‘Creator Clash’ — and we learned there’s a lot more to this scene than meets the eye. iDubbbz doesn’t see RiceGum fight ever happening Creator Clash began as a result of iDubbbz’s longstanding internet ‘feud’ with fellow YouTuber RiceGum, which spawned sometime back in 2018. However, the two never worked out a deal to finally settle their differences in the boxing ring, prompting Washburn to take his vision in a different — and far more challenging — direction. “I think I had sort of the naive expectation that it was going to be easy at the beginning, but boxing isn’t easy,” Washburn told us. “It’s a very serious and dangerous sport. I learned fairly quickly that if we were going to do this thing, we had to take it very seriously. I don’t anticipate RiceGum ever taking it seriously, because it is a lot of work.” Instead, iDubbbz is set to face off against influencer and licensed family physician ‘Doctor Mike’ — a man who has boxed as a way to stay in shape for the past decade, and even sparred with the likes of Amanda Serrano. “It’s kind of why I’m grateful Doctor Mike ended up accepting the fight,” iDubbbz mused. “I think Doctor Mike is honestly the perfect match. He supports charity, he was so down for it from the very beginning. He takes the sport seriously. It’s gonna be a good fight. I know that I’m putting in the work, and I know Doctor Mike is, too. RiceGum… I don’t think he’d ever end up putting in the work, sadly.” iDubbbz on boxing Doctor Mike When it comes to facing off against someone who’s getting advice from the likes of Amanda Serrano (the unified featherweight world champion), iDubbbz isn’t necessarily intimidated. Instead, he’s excited and feels he’s set himself up for a decent match. “I think, like with everyone on the card, we’re all going off very limited information,” he said. “That’s what I see as the most exciting part of this event. No one really has some huge competitive advantage. Obviously, Mike doing it for 10 years is an advantage. I feel like I’ve stepped myself up in a good position.” “My coach is really talented. He’s been doing mixed martial arts and boxing since he was a child. He’s worked with people like Demetrious Johnson and other really well known fighters. I think I’m prepared. It’ll be interesting. It’ll be a surprise for everyone to see what comes out of this whole event. I think a lot of people are taking very different paths to the same location.” iDubbbz opens up on Creator Clash documentary For iDubbbz, respecting the sport of boxing is paramount. As such, he’s made sure his fighters are taking the sport seriously. All participating influencers have been training with boxing coaches for the past six months — something he hopes to highlight in his upcoming documentary following Creator Clash from its beginning to its eventual end on May 14. “I want to highlight the journey I’ve taken, and a lot of the other fighters have taken, from the inception of this thing to the conclusion,” Washburn revealed. “There’s a lot of behind the scenes that, for me, is super emotional. I’ve never been in any sort of sport growing up. The coach-player-fighter dynamic is totally new to me. I have a completely fresh perspective on this dynamic and all the mental struggles, the physical struggles that we’re going through. I want to put a spotlight on that.” “We’ve seen people like Jake Paul who are like, ‘Yeah, I’m gonna do this boxing event.’ He shows up, he fights, he wins, and then there’s radio silence. He shows up, he fights, he wins. We’re not really seeing any of the growth in between and how he got there. I want to show that aspect of boxing.” The future of Creator Clash Jake Paul has created his very own boxing promotion company, Most Valuable Promotions, which notably signed Amanda Serrano late last year. While iDubbbz has a healthy respect for what the youngest Paul brother is doing in the sport, that isn’t necessarily the vision he has for the future of his own influencer boxing enterprise. “I think it’s great,” iDubbbz said of Serrano’s signing. “I’m super supportive of what they’re doing over there. I think they have a different path than what we’re taking right now. Right now, we just want to give all these influencers an interesting experience, step into the world of boxing but try to do it in a respectful way. I think Jake and all the people at Most Valuable Promotions have put a spotlight on people who I think really deserve it and I think we as a community can continue to do that.” View this post on Instagram When it comes to making his own promotional company, iDubbbz was a bit hesitant, but is open to the possibility — while maintaining his stance that he wants to shake up the influencer boxing world with a different flavor than what we’ve seen thus far. “Right now, we’re just sort of flying by the seat of our pants. If it ends up working out, I can see that. I think we’d want to do it differently. One of the things I keep harping on every chance I get is like, our event’s interesting because of the mystery element. I always want to bring new people into the fold. I think that’s one of the ways we’re going to keep influencer boxing interesting, rather than saying, ‘Here’s the next Floyd Mayweather,’ and follow their career path 50-0. That would be cool, but it’s not everything.” iDubbbz’s top picks for Creator Clash fight card Creator Clash boasts a stacked fight card, with 22 influencers duking it out in 11 fights. Names like the Game Grumps’ Arin ‘Egoraptor’ Hanson, robotics YouTuber Michael Reeves, and Twitch’s ‘JustaMinx’ are set to make their boxing debuts this May — something that took much of the internet by surprise. But this reaction is exactly what iDubbbz was looking for. “I’m excited for all of them,” he said of the upcoming matches. “Top three, it’s gonna be AB and Hundar, ’cause they started the soonest, and they’re getting quality work in. I’ve gone to both their gyms. I’ve sparred with both of them. They’re putting the work in. I’m certain it’s gonna be a good match.” “The other ones are Graham Stephen and Michael Reeves. They’re the most interesting weight class, they’re both very fast. It’s such a weird dichotomy. It’s a financial guy versus a robotics guy. The last one is definitely Minx and Yodeling Haley. For me, it seems like a pretty pivotal time to introduce a female influencer match, because Amanda Serrano is starting to get a lot more attention, and I think that’s awesome. I think that’s one of the benefits of this YouTuber boxing thing is to have more spotlights on fighters who are really talented, and I think this is a great way to do that.” Boxing for charity Another major aspect that sets Creator Clash apart from its predecessors is its singular focus on charity. While iDubbbz is placing an emphasis on respecting the sport of boxing, he wants to make sure the fighters are able to support a good cause — something he says made the prospect more attractive to the influencers involved, as they get to “test myself and I’m not going to be accused of doing this for money or anything like that, and I get to help people out.” Charities benefitting from Creator Clash include the American Heart Association, and the Alzheimer’s Association of America, as well as several other smaller charities chosen by the fighters, such as the Healing Horse Therapy Center run by Arin Hanson’s mother and FaZe Sensei’s Thanksgiving charity project run by his local martial arts gym. In the last few weeks leading up to Creator Clash, iDubbbz is certainly feeling the pressure of this groundbreaking moment in influencer boxing history — but luckily, he’s got support where it counts. “I mean, I definitely bit off more than I can chew,” he laughed. “It’s a lot to handle. Thankfully, my wife has been helping me every step of the way. She’s training with me in boxing so she doesn’t miss a session. We pretty much do everything together. She’s been a huge help. I think our whole team has been very helpful at making sure nothing is being forgotten.” Creator Clash is slated for May 14, 2022 at the Yuengling Center in Tampa, Florida. Tickets are available for purchase at the Creator Clash website. For more information, visit our hub.

  • iDubbbz reveals Creator Clash 2 lost $250,000 due to piracy & increased costs – Dexerto

iDubbbz reveals Creator Clash 2 lost $250,000 due to piracy & increased costs YouTube: iDubbbzTVYouTube star iDubbbz revealed that Creator Clash 2 lost a quarter-million dollars due to piracy and increased costs for the charity-based influencer-boxing event. Creator Clash 2 kicked off on April 15, 2023, marking the second iteration of the charity-based influencer-boxing extravaganza. The first Creator Clash, which took place in 2022, raised over a million dollars for various charitable organizations and was widely considered a success by many. However, Creator Clash 2 did run into some problems before fight night — and although the event itself went off without a hitch, featuring high-profile creators in pre-shows and interviews, it looks like things were decidedly less rosy for its second go-round. iDubbbz claims Creator Clash 2 lost $250k due to piracy In a candid YouTube video published on July 3 — nearly three months out from the event — iDubbbz, organizer and participant in Creator Clash, claimed that the event had actually lost money this year… $250,000, to be exact. iDubbbz claimed that a big reason for this loss was due to piracy. While fans could purchase a stream key via Moment to catch the event live and donate to charity, it appears that many didn’t want to pay up and instead looked to unofficial sites to watch the action. “We didn’t have any anti-piracy measures,” iDubbbz explained. “We weren’t prepared to deal with what ended up happening.” The YouTuber claimed there were around 800 streaming sites pirating Creator Clash 2, which had garnered between 1.3 – 3 million viewers despite the event only selling 50,000 pay-per-views. It’s also worth noting that last year’s Creator Clash event was uploaded in full to iDubbbz’s YouTube channel for free after the event was over. This time around, fans could only watch Creator Clash 2 if they purchased it, even after the event was long over. iDubbbz revealed that he made this decision thinking that it would result in more pay-per-view buys. “I foolishly thought that the success of last year should be a minimum for what we’re able to do this year, and that wasn’t true,” he said. “…we did half as well as we did the first year. 50,000 [views], compared to 100,000 the first year. I was wrong, and I feel a lot of shame, because a lot of people were trusting me and trusting our team to protect the event and protect the charities and protect the whole thing.” iDubbbz also detailed the increased costs of this year’s event due to bringing on more creators and securing a bigger venue. iDubbbz shuts down rumors of “pocketing” Creator Clash funds That’s not all; the YouTuber also shut down any rumors claiming that he and Creator Clash’s organizers were “pocketing” money made from the event. “That’s extremely hurtful, because it has been nothing but the opposite,” he said. “I understand some people out there don’t like me. I’m okay with that. But the thing I’m not okay with is just lying to people and making up sh*t for the sake of clicks.” iDubbbz reveals plans for Creator Clash 3 iDubbbz went on to throw out a few possibilities for next year’s Creator Clash, saying that he “can’t even think about” putting on another event for the time being. “I can’t even think about doing a Creator Clash 3,” he admitted. “We lost money, and there’s no money for charity. So, what are we gonna do to solve that?” Despite appearing to agree to take another fight after an emotional moment with opponent Alex Wassabi, it seems as though Creator Clash’s future is in major jeopardy and a future event is off the table at the moment. iDubbbz says someone is trying to “take over” Creator Clash That’s not all; iDubbbz also claimed someone is “trying to take over Creator Clash,” although he didn’t name any names. “Additionally, another thing that’s been eating at me is that someone is trying to take over Creator Clash,” he added. “I know that sounds like the plot of a video game or something, but it’s real, and it’s been taking up a lot of my time.” For now, Creator Clash’s future is uncertain as iDubbbz’s apology has sparked a major conversation about the event across social media. • iDubbbz raises $162k for charity after $250k Creator Clash loss – Dexerto

iDubbbz raises $162k for charity after $250k Creator Clash loss YouTube: iDubbbzTVYouTube star iDubbbz managed to raise $162,000 for charity in a 24-hour Twitch stream after revealing that Creator Clash had taken a $250k loss. Creator Clash is one of the only influencer-boxing events of its kind, first kicking off in 2022 as a charity-focused combat sports showdown between some of the net’s top creators. While the first Creator Clash raised over $1 million for charities like the American Heart Association and more, the event’s second iteration ran into some major hurdles. In fact, iDubbbz claimed that Creator Clash 2 actually lost money — $250k, to be exact. He listed multiple reasons for this loss, citing piracy, increased production costs, and his decision not to release the VOD for free, as he did last year. He apologized for the ordeal and publicly asked for ideas to help mitigate the loss… and came up with a possible solution just a short while later. On July 4, iDubbbz started a 24-hour live stream on Twitch, with the goal of raising $250k for the charities involved in this year’s Creator Clash — which included Able Gamers, the Critical Role Foundation, the Alzheimer’s Association, and many others. iDubbbz raises $162,000 for charity in spite of Creator Clash 2 loss During the stream, he had some exciting incentives for viewers, should they reach certain donation goals: A few of those being shaving his mustache, doing the cinnamon challenge, and getting his makeup done. At the 24-hour mark on July 5, his stream managed to raise $162,121.69 — and although it didn’t hit the $250k mark as anticipated, it still made a massive dent in the amount the charities had lost out on at this year’s event. That’s not all; iDubbbz also claimed that he will be uploading the Creator Clash 2 broadcast in full on YouTube, alongside separate videos of the night’s individual fights. At the time of writing, it’s unclear if there will be a Creator Clash 3, with iDubbz claiming he “can’t even think” about putting on another event, given the circumstances — but we’ll keep you updated on the situation right here at Dexerto.

Idubbbz responds to criticism after Tana Mongeau apology iDubbbzYouTuber iDubbbz has responded after apologizing for his “cruel” content in the past, welcoming critics of his apology with open arms. On May 18, iDubbbz uploaded a YouTube video titled ‘I miss the old iDubbbz,’ where he began to apologize for his older content on the site, admitting his past work was “hurtful” and “damaging” as well as “outright cruel.” Specifically, he apologized to Tana Mongeau for “harassing” the YouTube star both online and in person, and further issued an apology to anybody who felt alienated by his content. While many have been in support of the new and more mature iDubbbz, it’s fair to say he still got a lot of criticism from skeptics and even his own community. iDubbbz responds to criticism after apology video After a couple of no word from the YouTube star on the apology, he finally responded, where, in a tweet on May 20, he welcomed those criticizing his apology. “I welcome opinions about my apology from people and communities whom the apologies were directed at,” he wrote. “That is where my care starts and ends.” The response got a reply from FaZe Clan co-owner Banks, who suggested that iDubbbz should continue on his path and ignore the noise from his critics. “Seems like you’re at minimum starting to like the person you are/ are becoming. Which is the only thing that actually matters. Fuck the noise brother, trust yourself,” he replied. Although iDubbbz has gained appreciation and respect from the communities he’s hurt, many of his long-time fans claim he’s got nothing to apologize for. In his apology video, iDubbbz shared he’d like to private his older, offensive videos, but not completely delete them — many of which have since been unlisted.

In a video posted to his YouTube channel on July 12, iDubbbz breaks down Paul’s promotion of the cryptocurrency. He goes on to allege that Paul is attempting to scam his followers in order to generate money. iDubbbz in the video says that he finds “it so annoying how untransparent they are about this”. DinkDoink has been described by Paul as a “crypto-meme-coin” with various memes relating to the cryptocurrency posted on its social media channels. In the video, iDubbbz describes it as a “new cryptocurrency that has an animation element to it” but does not believe “those two elements are connected in any way”. The YouTuber also alleges that Paul and others are attempted to replicate the successes of DogeCoin. DogeCoin is another cryptocurrency that rose off the back of memes, influencers, and online popularity. • iDubbbz puts off boxing retirement following emotional speech from Alex Wassabi – Dexerto

iDubbbz puts off boxing retirement following emotional speech from Alex Wassabi Creator Clash / MomentAlex Wassabi emerged victorious in his bout against iDubbbz at Creator Clash 2 — but he was far from a sore winner, encouraging his opponent to put off his boxing retirement in a rousing speech. Creator Clash 2 is officially in the books, an event that saw a slew of influencers face off in the boxing ring with the goal of raising money for a good cause. Amidst the fist-flying action and viral callouts from victorious fighters were a few seriously emotional moments… not the least of which was Alex Wassabi’s rousing victory speech. Wassabi took the win over iDubbbz by majority decision, marking his second boxing win and his opponent’s second boxing loss in as many fights. iDubbbz is the founder of Creator Clash, and — according to Wassabi — was considering retiring from boxing after his second bout, following his first loss to Doctor Mike at last year’s event. Alex Wassabi begs iDubbbz to take “one more fight” after Creator Clash win However, Wassabi wasn’t willing to accept this outcome. During his post-fight interview with YouTuber Chills, Wassabi took control of the mic and pleaded with iDubbbz to put off his retirement for at least one more year. In fact, he even reeled in the entire crowd for help encouraging his fellow creator, leading them in a chant: “One more fight, one more fight!” It looks like this was enough to push iDubbbz to take at least one more bout, as the Creator Clash founder replied in a weary voice: “If you insist.” The crowd went wild. It was an emotional moment for iDubbbz, who couldn’t help but let loose a few tears, clearly frustrated with his loss. “This sh*t is hard,” he admitted in his post-fight interview. It’s clear that fans and fellow creators are rallying behind iDubbbz as they hope for another Creator Clash next year. Last year, Creator Clash raised over $1 million for charities like the American Heart Association and more. It’s not clear what amount was raised this year… but fans will have to keep their ears pricked until iDubbbz reveals the price that’s going to a swath of good causes.

  • iDubbbz hits back at fans calling him a “simp” over girlfriend’s hobby – Dexerto

iDubbbz hits back at fans calling him a “simp” over girlfriend’s hobby YouTube: iDubbbzTVPopular YouTube star Ian ‘iDubbbz’ Carter uploaded a video on March 28 where he responded to backlash from fans calling him a “simp” over his girlfriend, Anisa Jomha, and her recent decision to share private content. iDubbbz became a household name on YouTube with his popular Content Cop series which launched in 2015. The segment called out creators on the platform for their poor contributions to the community and their unsavory behavior. However the entertainer received backlash of his own in March after fans began to make memes about him being a “simp” over his girlfriend selling private photos. On March 28, he uploaded a video hitting back at critics taking things too personally. iDubbbz responds to fans criticizing him Memes about the YouTuber first sparked up when his girlfriend Anisa Jomha revealed on Twitter on March 9 that she was making an account to sell private content through a subscription service. iDubbbz got in on the joke and tweeted a photo on March 15 of him frowning with the caption “IM DONE, F**KERS! IM DONE. NO MORE MR. NICE-SIMP!” However, while seemingly okay with the simp meme, the YouTube star took issue with other viewers who felt “betrayed” and responded to them on March 28 as a part of his ‘iDubbbz Complains’ series. IM DONE, FUCKERS! IM DONE. NO MORE MR. NICE-SIMP pic.twitter.com/Elk1ewSoZF — idubbbz (@Idubbbz) March 15, 2020 The entertainer opened up by stating, “A good amount of people are just doing the reasonable thing, and just making jokes and laughing about it. But there is a whole other group of people who feel personally devastated and betrayed.” He then hit out at fans that are disappointed in him for his stance on his girlfriend’s work. “I’m not your f**king dad. Like if you don’t want to look up to me anymore, that’s fine. I don’t want you to look up to me.” The YouTuber then told fans who were upset to find someone else to idolize. “I’m okay with s*x workers. It has no bearing on my life whatsoever. I love my girlfriend, and I’m totally fine with it. It doesn’t affect me. If you are upset by me admitting this, then I suggest you go idolizing someone else.” (Timestamp 00:22 for mobile users.) While the YouTube creator seems to be okay with those making jokes, his issue appears to be more with those who feel personally upset with his opinion. His response began trending on Twitter, as the video sparked a discussion. If nothing else, this shows the complicated side of being an online personality and maintaining a relationship in the public eye.

iDubbbz hints at Creator Clash 2 as boxing event ramps up Twitch: EsfandTV / Creator ClashiDubbbz’s Creator Clash charity boxing event is well on its way to fruition — but another event of its kind could already be in the works. YouTube star Ian ‘iDubbbz’ Washburn is changing the influencer boxing landscape in a huge way. • iDubbbz blasts “extremely deceptive” Froggy Fresh over Creator Clash drama – Dexerto

iDubbbz blasts “extremely deceptive” Froggy Fresh over Creator Clash drama YouTube: iDubbbzTVYouTuber iDubbbz has finally spoken out about the drama concerning Froggy Fresh, blasting the creator as “extremely deceptive” in their feud prior to Creator Clash 2. Creator Clash 2 has come and gone, bringing with it a ton of hype and a slew of exciting boxing matches between some of the internet’s top entertainers. However, the event experienced some controversy in the weeks leading up to fight night on April 15. During some trash-talk against opponent ChrisRayGun, Froggy Fresh made some remarks about Anisa Jomha, iDubbbz’s wife and one of the key organizers of Creator Clash. These comments seemed to spark dissent from both iDubbbz and Anisa’s mother, resulting in a public social media feud between Froggy and Anisa’s mom. Froggy Fresh was then discharged from Creator Clash and replaced with William Haynes. This decision prompted a slew of big reactions online from fans and fellow creators, alike. iDubbbz and Creator Clash as a whole were notably silent about the issue… until now. iDubbbz finally addresses Froggy Fresh drama On May 3, iDubbbz uploaded a YouTube video finally addressing the drama with Froggy Fresh, where he clarified that the reason he kicked Fresh from the card was due to his collaborations with controversial YouTuber Sam Hyde. To give some background information: Sam Hyde made multiple insulting comments toward Anisa in the past, which he said in various public videos and live streams. As a result, Hyde was banned from the first Creator Clash, and has continued to fuel an ongoing feud with iDubbbz. iDubbbz claims that Fresh’s framing of their issues around his beef with Anisa’s mother is disingenuous and called the YouTuber “extremely deceptive.” “For anyone who was under the impression that Froggy has been reasonable and chill and respectful through this whole process, he hasn’t been,” iDubbbz explained. “He’s been a piece of sh*t. I’m not happy with how he’s behaved.” “He’s talked mad sh*t about me, Anisa, participants of the event, the event itself. He doesn’t like the culture of Creator Clash, and he mentioned that. To be honest, I thought it was quite the gift to you that we kicked you off the card,” he continued, addressing Froggy Fresh. That’s not all; during his video, iDubbbz appeared to take shots at other influencer-boxing organizations like Misfits Boxing, referencing the incident where Chase Demoor kept hitting his opponent after a knockdown at Misfits Series 006. iDubbbz then showcased his text messages with Froggy Fresh, where the two discussed Sam Hyde’s behavior and how Froggy’s collaboration with him might affect Creator Clash as an event. Ultimately, the issue appeared to stem from Froggy Fresh wanting to create collaborative content with Sam Hyde prior to Creator Clash 2. iDubbbz claimed that he’d asked Froggy to postpone until the event was over, but their disagreement over the matter — with Froggy claiming he didn’t think it was “appropriate” for iDubbbz to dictate the terms of his friendships with other creators — led to their falling out. “I don’t think it’s appropriate that you are hanging out with a guy who doesn’t think women are people,” iDubbbz hit back. “I don’t think that’s appropriate.” iDubbbz also explained why he didn’t speak about the situation sooner, claiming he was scared of sabotaging Creator Clash’s success with the drama. • iDubbbz explains why Dr Disrespect hasn’t accepted boxing challenges – Dexerto

iDubbbz explains why Dr Disrespect hasn’t accepted boxing challenges DrDisrespect/YouTube/Twitch/EsfandTVIan ‘iDubbbz’ Washburn’s influencer boxing event Creator Clash was a massive success prompting YouTube stars like Valkyrae to train for the second card, but one major fan favorite has shown no signs of competing: Dr Disrespect. When it comes to streamers, there may not be anyone more larger than life. At 6’8, Dr Disrespect is a mountain of a man with the on-air personality of a 90s WWE wrestler. As such, he’s been called out on multiple occasions, but hasn’t expressed a desire to box. At Creator Clash itself, Epic Meal Time’s Harley scored an impressive victory against Game Grumps’ Arin Hanson and immediately called out The Doc for a fight. A few days later, the two-time tiptoed around the challenge, instead bringing up fans who ask him to fight TimTheTatman and disregarding the boxing scene. During an interview with Dexerto, iDubbbz discussed the possibility of Dr Disresprect fighting at a second Creator Clash and if he would ever actually bring his violence, speed, and momentum to the ring. iDubbbz thinks Dr Disrespect will fight, but on his terms Just like Harley, iDubbbz issued a challenge to the two-time when he was trying to find an opponent, but it didn’t go all too well. “He sort of dismissed it,” Washburn said. “I don’t think he takes it too seriously.” According to iDubbbz, Doc’s on-stream persona provides the perfect excuse to be so dismissive. As a character, Dr Disrespect exists in a strange reality where he sells out a trillion-dollar arena packed with Champions Club members watching him take another step up the mountain as he picks up Ws in Warzone. After @HarleyPlays’s call out at Creator Clash, last weekend@DrDisrespect responded to the idea of fighting Harley pic.twitter.com/ifMppL1FFn — Dexerto (@Dexerto) May 18, 2022 “It’s also very easy for him because he’s in character, to just be like, ‘Aw yeah whatever.’ But behind the scenes, who knows what he’s cooking up. It’s hard to say,” The Creator Clash creator explained. “It seems like Dr Disrespect might eventually get into something, but we haven’t been in contact with him.” Hopefully, Dr Disrespect does have something in the works and we get to actually see him compete in the ring. As for who he fights, he would have no shortage of challengers. Maybe he’ll call out Twitch staff and demand he be unbanned if he wins? The possibilities are endless. Sadly, we may be seeing him land suplexes instead of punches, considering he’s been adamant about the possibility of making a WWE debut while remaining mum about boxing.

  • iDubbbz apologizes to Tana Mongeau for “cruel” past content – Dexerto

iDubbbz apologizes to Tana Mongeau for “cruel” past content YouTube: iDubbbzTVYouTube star iDubbbz has issued an apology for his “cruel” content in the past, making special mention of his ‘Content Cop’ series and his infamous video about Tana Mongeau. iDubbbz is a prominent creator on YouTube, where he rose to prominence in part due to his ‘Content Cop’ video series. These videos often took aim at other controversial creators on the site, one of the most notable centering around influencer Tana Mongeau. In the years since, iDubbbz has changed the kind of content he produces, and has even founded the well-loved Creator Clash influencer-boxing event that has donated $1 million to charity. iDubbbz promises to change YouTube content and apologizes for past videos On May 18, iDubbbz uploaded a video titled ‘I miss the old iDubbbz,’ where he apologized for the content he made in the past, calling his older work “cruel.” “I am responsible for creating a lot of hurtful and damaging content on this channel, and I’ve also created a culture of apathy, and a lot of cruelty, as well,” he explained. “Some of the videos I’ve made have been very — not edgy…. I just think they were outright cruel.” He also made special mention of Tana Mongeau and apologized to her directly for “harassing” her both online and in-person. “I particularly want to apologize to Tana,” he said. “Tana, I’m sorry. I should have never made that video. I harassed Tana in person and then harassed her online, and that’s deplorable behavior. It’s so stupid.” He went on to apologize to any audience who felt alienated by his content, referencing a time a transgender fan came up to him and prefaced their request for a photo by saying “I know you probably don’t like transgender people, but can I get a picture?” “That smacked me in the face,” iDubbbz admitted. “I was like woah, holy sh*t. Why would you think that?” iDubbbz also clarified that he is running ads on his apology video and will match the proceeds generated by it to donate toward a charitable cause. Additionally, the YouTuber claimed he would like to private his older, offensive videos, but not delete them. It’s unclear if this latest statement is related to drama between iDubbbz, Sam Hyde, and Froggy Fresh, which caused Froggy Fresh to be removed from Creator Clash 2 earlier this year.

  • Man behind iconic 10 Guy meme reveals his identity after a decade – Dexerto

Man behind iconic 10 Guy meme reveals his identity after a decade 10 Guy OfficialThe image of the ‘10 Guy’ is one of the most recognizable internet memes of the last decade, and the man behind the gag has finally revealed himself after so long. Connor Sinclair revealed himself as the 10 Guy, aka Stoner Stanley or Really High Guy, a meme that was born then thrived on Reddit before spilling onto the rest of the internet in 2011. It became one of the most accessible memes for things a stoner would say, calling out a simple blunder, and more. The meme caught fire on the r/trees subreddit, taking on the [10] reference for the level of high he looked to be in the photo, and escalated from there. The meme heavily invaded everything including finance forums, sports, and group chats everywhere. Now in 2021, Sinclair has stepped into the spotlight and has plans for the classic meme, especially with NFTs making a rise. “I thought now would be a perfect time to come forward and maybe give you a bit of a behind the scenes look of the man behind the meme,” Sinclair said in his YouTube video. “After all I wouldn’t be doing this at all if it wasn’t for the internet sharing everything so I thought it would be a great thing to do.” In a conversation with Knowyourmeme, Sinclair said that it took him so long to reveal himself because he “wasn’t comfortable about it when I was younger and studying, if it might have affected my career.” He was 18 at the time, and was just starting university when the meme went incredibly viral. Apparently, the meme has helped him more than hurt. Sinclair did a great job keeping anonymous until now, but admits that some people figured him out, including his partner of six years who’d asked him for a photo after recognizing the meme’s star. Sinclair expects to release more content about the man behind the meme soon. He had hinted about selling an NFT for the 10 Guy meme, with other viral posts cashing in on their fame for hundreds of thousands of dollars.

  • What are NFTs? Iconic internet memes & collectibles being sold for thousands – Dexerto

What are NFTs? Iconic internet memes & collectibles being sold for thousands YouTube: booba1234The NFT boom might have cooled off over the last few months from when they were everywhere in early 2021, but the blockchain collectibles are still raking in thousands of dollars. So… what are they exactly? Non-fungible tokens (NFTs) are collectible assets that can be bought and sold for other cryptocurrencies, such as Etherium or Bitcoin. They have picked up widespread attention and adoption in 2021, with some selling for millions of dollars. Influencers like Tfue and the members of 100 Thieves all jumped on the hype early with some NFTs of their own, and some of the stars of memes in the internet hall of fame have gotten involved too. What are NFTs? An NFT is technically a unit of data (think: lines of code) stored on a digital ledger, called a blockchain which is public and viewable by anyone, that certifies a certain digital asset (the NFT) to be unique and therefore not interchangeable (or non-fungible). Unlike Bitcoin where every coin is interchangeable or all the same, each NFT is different and therefore worth a different amount. So, NFTs are not cryptocurrency, but the two are closely related. What makes an NFT? NFTs can be used to represent things like pics, videos, audio, and practically any other type of digital file. Access to the original file is not restricted to the buyer of the NFT though, which is where you get the meme to just right-click and save an NFT instead of paying for it. While these copies of the digital item can be obtained by anyone just like the meme says, NFTs are tracked on blockchains to provide owners with an official proof of ownership, though this is separate from copyright. Speaking of memes, Zoë Roth, the subject of the famous “disaster girl” meme, sold an image of her grinning at a camera in front of a burning building on April 17, 2021 for 180 Ether, which is worth just under $500,000. In 2007, the Disaster Girl image was picked up and repurposed online, and ultimately spread to every corner of the internet, retaining its popularity for more than a decade and up until now. Chris Crocker, the star of the viral YouTube video “Leave Britney Alone,” also sold the video in which they passionately defended Britney Spears as an NFT for 8.69 ether in 2021, which amounted to roughly $41,000 at the time. Chris told Business Insider that the money would go towards helping their grandmother and paying for gender transition surgery. Not only that but “David after dentist,” was also sold. The viral video from 2009 shows a 7-year-old David DeVore Jr. on strong medication after tooth extraction. He asks “is this real life?” before suddenly screaming. Read More: How to get secret emojis on TikTok – David’s family, working with NFT sales platform Views, closed the auction with a final buying price of 3.30 ETH, which worked out to roughly $11,500 when the 2021 deal went through. Now, the creator behind the term “cheugy” has launched the word itself as an NFT and is currently taking bids. It was originally coined by 23-year-old Gaby Rasson who says the word is “used to describe anything that is untrendy, out of date, or trying too hard,” and it recently gained huge traction on TikTok. If it follows the success of the others it could go for thousands, and it certainly won’t be the last with Views planning to sell NFTs related to the Pizza Rat and Neekolul’s Ok Boomer TikTok.

  • Ice-T blasts fan mocking him for using comic sans font on Twitter – Dexerto

Ice-T blasts fan mocking him for using comic sans font on Twitter Twitter: ICE TRapper Tracy Lauren Marrow, better known as Ice-T, had some harsh words for Twitter users criticizing him for using a comic sans font in one of his Tweets. Ice-T had an interesting interaction with a Twitter user after his Tweet on March 28 that read: “bonus cold fact,” with an attached image captioned “the illusion of “options” really got ya’ll out here fumbling genuine people.” Minutes later user @trashcompact_ called out Ice-T about the fact that the font featured in the image was “Comic Sans,” which has become quite infamous around the internet for various reasons. However, T clapped back with a harsh reality check that he simply doesn’t “give a f**k,” about fonts before also calling the Twitter user a “weirdo.” Ice-T makes a hilarious response to a fan mocking him Ice-T’s hilariously vulgar response to such a nitpick went semi-viral, with many fans siding with the rapper. “If a fact is cold the font shouldn’t matter,” wrote one user. While another fan simply wrote an approving: “get his ass, king.” Other users were so in love with the quote that they decided to make it into a professional-looking image, featuring Ice-T and the quote in white, on a black background. On the other hand, few people went against Ice-T’s beliefs, claiming he is undermining the importance of a proper and good-looking font. “Nobody’s too hard for a good font, nobody,” reads one such comment. Another font defender also voiced his opinion, writing: “Rare Ice L, fonts rule.” The feud between Ice-T and Comic Sans haters is not at all that serious, but it did provide some light relief. Don’t expect him to change it any time soon though.

  • Ice-T explains the main thing he hates about DOOM Eternal – Dexerto

Ice-T explains the main thing he hates about DOOM Eternal id Software / Instagram: icetTracy Lauren ‘Ice-T’ Marrow is a voracious gamer who never shies away from sharing his opinion. Tackling the follow up to 2016’s reboot of DOOM, the popular rapper addressed one key aspect of DOOM Eternal he just can’t stand. Always sharing his gameplay experiences through social media, Ice-T has become a popular figure for some of the hottest gaming takes on the internet. While he’s been involved in a number of passion projects in the industry, even voicing Balex in Borderlands 3, he’s never afraid to criticize a game. Jumping into DOOM Eternal just days after its March 19 release date, the rapper seemed mostly satisfied. There was one element of the vintage FPS franchise in particular, however, that the rapper said he absolutely “hates.” Gamer Stuff: Bout to go in on this DOOM ETERNAL #QuarentineLife pic.twitter.com/FgonrOR8kz — ICE T (@FINALLEVEL) March 20, 2020 Refining the fundamentals of their 2016 reboot, the developers at id Software seemingly knocked it out of the park once again as Eternal launched to much fanfare and critical acclaim. Fans of the series especially have loved it so far. While the gameplay pays homage to the 1993 classic, harkening back to raw FPS mechanics and movement, not everyone is on board with the old school feel. In particular, Ice-T pinpointed “jumping” in DOOM Eternal as his least favorite feature. “DOOM Eternal, I’m enjoying the game…BUT! I HATE all the f**king jumping,” he explained in a March 21 tweet. “I had that get that out.” Gamer Stuff: DOOM ETERNAL.. I’m enjoying the game.. BUT! I HATE all the Fn jumping!!!!! I had that get that out…. — ICE T (@FINALLEVEL) March 22, 2020 The fast-paced action and relentless enemies ensure that players are always on the move in DOOM Eternal. Pushing through hordes of demons is intertwined with segments of gameplay focused entirely on traversal and exploration. As Ice-T explained before jumping into his second sit down with the game, players just “can’t stand still. It’s virtual cardio.” Although the rapper might be somewhat miffed about the jumping mechanics in DOOM Eternal, that appears to be his only major gripe for the time being. In fact, he’s already jumped back into the title to see things through to the end. Gamer Stuff: Bout to go back in on my 2nd session of DOOM ETERNAL… 4hrs yesterday… You can’t stand STILL in this game!! It’s virtual cardio! Lol. — ICE T (@FINALLEVEL) March 21, 2020 For fans of the rapper hoping they might be able to tune into Ice-T’s gameplay sessions in the near future, however, things might not pan out that way. He recently outlined how he uses gaming as an escape. “I kinda play games to be alone. Streaming is kinda the opposite of that,” he said, damning any hopes of a Twitch stream. While livestreams might not be an option, fans can still keep up with his thoughts through his spicy hot takes on Twitter.

  • Ice Spice says she’ll let Kai Cenat feature in her next music video – Dexerto

Ice Spice says she’ll let Kai Cenat feature in her next music video Twitch: kaicenatRapper Ice Spice claimed she’d let Twitch star Kai Cenat appear in her next music video during a phone call — and it’s safe to say that he’s pretty excited about the whole thing. Kai Cenat is one of Twitch’s most popular broadcasters. The influencer, who boasts over 6 million Twitch followers, took home Streamer of the Year at the 2023 Streamer Awards, and even broke Twitch’s subscriber record with his month-long subathon back in February. Thanks to his viral fame, Kai has had the chance to rub elbows with some major figures in the music industry, including the likes of rapper Blueface and singer-songwriter SZA. Another prominent star who’s been featured on his streams is rapper Ice Spice, a current darling of the hip-hop world known for her songs ‘Munch’ and ‘Princess Diana.’ Kai Cenat thrilled after Ice Spice promises him music video cameo On July 26, Kai rang up Ice Spice on the phone to have a chat with her during one of his live streams. As their conversation came to an end, Kai pitched an idea about possibly being featured in one of ICe Spice’s music videos. “I could be in one of the next music videos,” he suggested, giving his viewers an excited look as he awaited Spice’s response. “I told you to pop up to this one,” she answered, referencing her latest music video for her song ‘Deli.’ “When?” a shocked Kai replied. “I didn’t tell you?” she asked. “I thought I told you, that’s crazy.” Spice then said he could be in the “next one.” “Imma be a part of it?” Kai asked, to which she answered, “Sure.” Kai was clearly pleased with himself for scoring a potential cameo in an Ice Spice music video — and although there’s no solid confirmation on whether or not it’ll actually happen, fans would do well to be on the lookout for the rapper’s next MV. On the other hand, Kai was left totally distraught after seeing SZA’s latest music video, where she got cozy with her rumored boo Travis Scott, sending the streamer into a dour mood.

Ice Spice was confused by Matty Healy’s comments on “that little podcast” Wikimedia: Ian Purple Yellow/Instagram: Ice SpiceMatty Healy was recorded laughing at derogatory comments said about Ice Spice earlier this year, and the rapper has finally spoken out about the incident. Lead singer and songwriter for the ‘1975’ rock band Matty Healy was in hot water with netizens earlier this year when he laughed at derogatory comments said about rapper Ice Spice. Being that the two had likely never crossed each other’s paths, fans felt his remarks came out of nowhere, and the conversation surrounding the issue took over social media. Though Healy has since apologized, Ice Spice has finally broken her silence on what was said by Healy and his comrades. Ice Spice says she “didn’t really care” about Healy’s comments Earlier this year in February, Matty Healy was on the ‘Adam Friedland Show’ podcast. During the episode, Friedland and the show’s producer, Nick Mullen, dug into Ice Spice and the way she looks. The two said comments like, “She’s like a rapper from the Spice Girls… she’s an ‘Inuit’ Spice Girl — just like a chubby Chinese lady.” As the comments persisted, Healy could be heard mocking a Hawaiian and Chinese accent, which he was insinuating as Ice Spice’s ethnicity. After receiving backlash for doing this, Healy publicly apologized at a show in Auckland, New Zealand, saying, “Ice Spice, I’m sorry.” Healy continued: “It’s not because I’m annoyed that me joking got misconstrued. It’s because I don’t want Ice Spice to think I’m a d—k. I love you, Ice Spice. I’m so sorry. What does that even mean?’ First of all, I’m thick. What do you mean Chinese? What? But then they apologized or whatever. And the whole time, I didn’t really care.” She also expressed that Healy apologized in person to her at an event, to which Ice Spice made sure he knew that she wasn’t taking it personally. As for what’s next for the ‘In Ha Mood’ rapper, she just collaborated with Dunkin’ Donuts and recently dropped a Deluxe EP with plenty of bops to hold fans over until her next drop.

  • Ice Spice Instagram post removed as her own name breaks “violence” rules – Dexerto

Ice Spice Instagram post removed as her own name breaks “violence” rules Meta/YouTube: Ice SpiceUpdate: Ice Spice’s post has since been reinstated by Instagram, complete with original caption and everything else, after it was initially removed as an error. The original story continues below. Popular rapper Ice Spice has revealed that Instagram deleted one of her posts after using her actual name – which violates a guideline on violence – in it and the internet can’t believe it. If you’ve not come across Ice Spice on the internet in the last few months, well, you’ve possibly been living under a rock or been completely off the grid. The 23-year-old rapper has gone viral on a number of social media platforms, thanks in part to her songs and resulting music videos. TikTok and Twitter, in particular, can’t stop sharing her collab with Nicki Minaj. Given her popularity on other platforms, naturally, she’s become pretty popular on Instagram as well, racking up close to 7 million followers with less than 100 posts. However, one of her posts has been struck down by the platform because she used her actual name. Yes, seriously. Ice Spice Instagram post deleted as a result of her own name That’s right, the rapper revealed on April 17 that one of her posts had been taken down for violating Instagram’s guidelines on “violence or dangerous organizations.” It was just a simple picture of her from the ‘Princess Diana’ music video, however, her own name – Isis – caused the platform to remove the post. “Can’t type my name ODE,” she said in a story showing off the removal. While it is a popular name, it does have connections to an extremist group that uses it as an acronym, so it’s very likely the post has been auto-flagged by Instagram or been spam reported by trolls. A number of fans were disappointed that the post got removed, calling out Instagram across social media. “I deadass hate IG so much for it’s terrible code,” tweeted one. “This is how I find out her real name?” another asked.

  • Ice Spice responds after Twitter clowns rapper’s cooking skills – Dexerto

Ice Spice responds after Twitter clowns rapper’s cooking skills YouTube; Apple Music / TikTok: icespiceeIce Spice has responded after getting clowned on social media for her cooking skills… and it looks like she’s taking the roasting pretty well. Ice Spice is one of the hottest new names in the rap game right now. Although she was on her grind well before getting noticed by Drake for her song ‘Munch,’ that single skyrocketed her to stardom, and it’s been off to the races ever since. Since going viral, the ‘Deli’ rapper made a song with Nicki Minaj for the Barbie movie and even got her own drink at Dunkin’ Donuts. It’s clear that she’s the new ‘it girl’ in rap… but it looks like even Ice Spice has her flaws. In September, Spice uploaded a video showing herself making breakfast on TikTok. In the video, Spice makes a basic breakfast scramble… except it looks a tad undercooked. Ice Spice roasted online after showing off her cooking skills Ice Spice scrambled some eggs together with spinach, onion, and tomatoes. She allowed it to cook for a little while before adding on some shredded cheese over top. Unfortunately, her spinach didn’t really wilt properly and the eggs still looked a tad underdone — and although some folks might like their eggs this way, even Ice Spice admitted that she wasn’t a fan of her own work. “It should taste really nasty ’cause I’m not a cook, and this is my first time,” she said in the video. Since then, the clip has mysteriously disappeared from the rapper’s TikTok account… but fans quickly reposted it to X (formerly Twitter), where they couldn’t help but clown Spice for her newbie cooking skills. “Ice Spice making breakfast and it looks… interesting,” one user wrote. “Well, at least she’s eating her spinach.” Ice Spice caught wind of the post and shot back in a joking reply: “Pls delete.” “Got my stomach beatboxing,” another said — to which Spice couldn’t help but let loose an, “lmaoooo.” It’s nice to know that Spice is humble enough to take a good roasting. And where her culinary skills might be lacking, her bars certainly aren’t!

ICE_POSEIDON’s Touch the Car Competition Ends After 19 Hours via Unusual Decision by Final Contestant Streamer ICE_POSEIDON set up a strange ‘Touch the Car’ competition, where contestants would stand with their hand on a car, and the last person touching it would win the car itself. After a gruelling 19 hours, all of which were capture on live stream, the competition came to an end – after one of the two final contestants simply gave up. ICE_POSEIDON is known for these kind of strange contests and social experiments, all of which he live streams to a dedicated audience. One of his most infamous examples is when he locked a group of people in a closet for three days, and having his viewers donate to play loud, torturous noises for the duration. The final few hours of the Touch the Car competition saw the final three competitors still standing, but went down to two because one accidentally took his hand off the hood of the car, after ICE sprayed some kind of smelly substance in their faces. Another few hours passed before finally, one contestant seemed to realize that – after 19 hours of standing – he no longer wanted the car that much, and felt his opponent deserved it. His reasoning was two-fold, one he felt like using an Uber was actually in a way preferable to having the car, because he got to meet people and talk to people. “I enjoyed this experience, it didn’t feel like a waste of time to me, and that I really don’t need this car. It feels a lot more meaningful to me, meeting people, than winning a car.” So eventually he does in fact take his hand off the car, giving it to the last standing contestant, ‘Alfredo’. Another successful ICE_POSEIDON experiment then, albeit another very strange one.

  • ICE_POSEIDON’s Subreddit has been quarantined – Dexerto

ICE_POSEIDON’s Subreddit has been quarantined IRL streamer ICE_POSEIDON’s Subreddit has been quarantined, due to the platform’s new effort to prevent hoaxes, hate speech, and other issues that breach the website’s community guidelines. Reddit has recently revamped their quarantine function, fencing potentially offensive communities into a less public sphere. While a post detailing the update cited Holocaust deniers, NSFW communities, and others as responsible for the revamp, it seems as though Poseidon’s page is also one of these groups. Some users have speculated that the quarantine was due to the subreddit’s comment section, noting Poseidon’s notoriously toxic community. Poseidon’s shenanigans and audience alike have garnered him multiple bans on Twitch. A few of these instances included asking for a girl’s phone number while livestreaming, or even a 2017 incident where Poseidon was swatted on a plane. Poseidon apparently live streamed himself in an airport, where he mentioned his flight number and even his particular gate. This resulted in Poseidon’s audience swatting the plane, which was grounded due to a potential bomb threat. Poseidon was one of several communities that saw a quarantine. Others subreddits cited included communities of ‘incels,’ a subreddit where users upload footage of people dying, pages dedicated to racism and sexism, as well as conspiracy pages, to boot. It seems as though Poseidon’s community has gotten so toxic that it fits in with these disturbing categories. Reddit’s new policy is meant to ‘incentivize positive behavior.’ While quarantined moderators can present an appeal to have the quarantine removed, it doesn’t look as though Poseidon’s has yet reached this stage.

  • ICE_POSEIDON’s new last man standing prison challenge – Stream and info – Dexerto

ICE_POSEIDON’s new last man standing prison challenge – Stream and info Controversial IRL streamer Paul ‘ICE_POSEIDON’ Denino is attempting to live broadcast his own version of the Stanford Prison Experiment on YouTube. The Stanford Prison Experiment saw a group of 12 people divided into prisoners and guards, in an attempt to monitor the behavior of the prisoners, and whether they would accept the governing status of the guards, even though they technically held no legal power over them. Denino is performing the same experiment featuring members of his cX Network, including MexicanAndy, Ebenezer ‘EbZ’ Lembe, SJC and more. ICE_POSEIDON hopes to run this experiment for seven days, with six volunteers locked in a kitchen and guards coming in and out to check on them and assert their power. Prisoners in the experiment will be forced to take part in challenges, which will be set by fans of the IRL streamer. By completing challenges, they will earn ‘Denino Dollars’, which can be used by prisoners to bribe the prison guards into bringing in extra food, necessities or goodies into the room. Prisoners will also gain access to a food delivery that will take place soon, which will provide the group with food for the week, meaning they will need to work together to ration out their meals for the remainder of the experiment. The IRL streamer is well known for broadcasting crazy moments on his stream. Recently, a text-to-speech notification went off claiming he had a bomb while Denino was attempting to check-in to a motel. This prompted a member of the motel’s staff to pull out a gun and follow ICE and a friend, until they were able to explain the situation to him. Denino also saw his subreddit quarantined by Reddit admins, likely due to the content posted by his supports. Posts from his subreddit will no longer be able to make their way to the front page, as the site attempts to crack down on hate speech, attempted hoaxes and other issues which breach Reddit’s community guidelines. Denino’s version of the Stanford Prison Experiment is live right now, and you can watch the broadcast below.

ICE Poseidon’s Rise and Fall as the Most EXTREME Livestreamer In IRL livestreaming, there is one name that will always be remembered – but not always for the right reasons. Although he’s made attempts to return to Twitch, he remains permanently banned from the platform – something he discusses at length, as well as the fateful day the ban struck. • Ice Poseidon under fire for guests’ offensive comments in Hiroshima IRL stream – Dexerto

Ice Poseidon under fire for guests’ offensive comments in Hiroshima IRL stream Ice PoseidonYouTuber Ice Poseidon is under fire after a clip of guests Slightly Homeless and Vexxed making offensive comments during an IRL stream in Hiroshima surfaced on Reddit. While Ice was not in the clip himself, it happened on his channel. Since getting banned on Twitch in 2017 over a public swatting incident, Ice Poseidon hasn’t been the most active on his channels. That is until 2022, when he announced his return to streaming and fought fellow YouTuber Brandon Buckingham on Misfits’ October boxing card. However his 2023 started with controversy after a clip from his channel, featuring YouTubers Slightly Homeless and Vexxed, went viral on Reddit. The duo, without Ice Poseidon on stream, made offensive comments during an IRL stream in Japan. Ice Poseidon, Slightly Homeless, and Vexxed under fire for offensive comments Hiroshima, a popular tourist spot in Japan, was largely destroyed by a nuclear bomb during World War 2. While Vexxed and Slightly Homeless were IRL streaming on YouTube from the city, the former turned to Slightly and asked: “You want some radioactive p*ssy?” They didn’t directly reply but mentioned how people looked at him when he dropped his bag inside the store they were recently in. “They looked at me like I dropped an atomic bomb,” he said. It quickly made its way to the ‘imatotalpieceofsh*t’ subreddit, where people shared their reactions to the now-viral clip. “It’s wild that they A. Have no shame in voicing those views publicly. B. Chose to visit that country. And C. Chose to record and post that sort of foolishness,” one user commented. Another user said: “The fact that he’s acting like a real-life Beavis tells you all you need to know. The only person that thinks he’s remotely funny is him.” Neither Ice, Slightly Homeless, nor Vexxed has addressed the comments as of writing, but we’ll be sure to update you if they do. Correction (January 5, 2023): This article originally stated Ice Poseidon made the offensive comments. Ice was not present on the stream, but the broadcast was on his channel. This has since been corrected. We apologize for the error.

  • Ice Poseidon’s beef with Hampton Brandon escalates in a livestreamed fistfight – Dexerto

Ice Poseidon’s beef with Hampton Brandon escalates in a livestreamed fistfight Controversial IRL streamer Ice Poseidon got into a physical altercation with fellow streamer Hampton Brandon – and caught the fistfight in a live broadcast on YouTube. The two threw down on Hollywood Boulevard, where Poseidon streamed the altercation with an over the shoulder camera attached to the strap of his backpack, rendering the footage reminiscent of a first-person video game. Although the beginning of the clip appeared to show the two making up, Hampton quickly removed his accessories and got into a fighting stance, which Poseidon then engaged. While both streamers got a few punches in, Poseidon ultimately lost the brawl. He went live after the altercation to showcase his new wounds, congratulating his opponent while at the same time holding that he was the real winner of their spat. “I’ll take the L,” he said during his post-fight broadcast. “But in the end, I still win.” Poseidon claimed that their beef had sparked when he’d refused to stream with Hampton, who Poseidon felt had been upset at this rejection. He alleged that this had prompted Hampton to assault other members of his brand, the CX Network, before coming for Poseidon, himself. Hampton’s assault on one of these members, Salmon Andy, was caught during a live stream, as well as another attack on CX streamer Sam Pepper – the full video of which has not yet been released. Hampton and Poseidon mentioned throwing down in a legitimate boxing match in the beginning of their fight’s livestream, to boot. With YouTubers KSI and Logan Paul having boxed in late August, Ice Poseidon and Hampton could possibly have a potential boxing match in the future.

  • ICE_POSEIDON shot at live on IRL stream after a bomb hoax donation alert – [UPDATED] – Dexerto

ICE_POSEIDON shot at live on IRL stream after a bomb hoax donation alert – [UPDATED] UPDATE 2 (12PM ET – November 10, 2018) It has now been confirmed that a shot was not fired in the incident, rather the man was simply walking with a gun. The incident was discussed by Denino and a friend on a later stream (see below). UPDATE (7am ET – November 9, 2018) In the hours after the incident aired live on his stream, Denino took to Twitter and assured his fans that he is indeed doing okay. I’m ok, David is ok. Car has a leaking radiator so I had a viewer give me a ride to a nearby city to stay the night at a hotel. I’m not going live right now, but tomorrow I plan on going live. I’m sorry guys. — Ice_Poseidon (@REALIcePoseidon) November 9, 2018 Controversial live streamer Paul ‘ICE_POSEIDON’ Denino crashed his car after being shot at during a broadcast in the early hours of Friday, November 9. Streaming on his YouTube channel, Denino was on a trip to Alaska when he checked into a one-star motel with a friend. While he was looking for a member of staff at the front desk, he received a text to speech donation alert, which read out a message that said he had a bomb. Following the donation alert, the sound of a gun could be heard cocked behind the door in the reception, which prompted the pair to promptly leave. The streamer left and got into his car, but the staff member allegedly followed them with a gun and proceeded to fire at the car. After driving a short distance, Denino crashed his car in a ditch, before getting out and starting to run as he screamed that it was fake (in reference to the bomb hoax). The distressing footage shows ICE in clear panic after having a weapon fired at him, before the stream eventually was shut down. While the controversial personality has been accused of faking content in the past, the sheer panic in his voice after he crashes the car leaves no doubt the incident was real. In the video below the sound of the gun being cocked can be heard at around the one-minute mark, with the gunshot being heard just after four minutes. Update: The video has now been removed from YouTube. At the time of writing, it is unconfirmed whether the streamer was injured, but a friend of Denino’s Tweeted out to claim he’d spoken to him and that he’s ok and with the police. Just got off the phone with the police Ice is ok! — STUFFED JOBS (@ArchonBackspace) November 9, 2018 It has now been confirmed that a shot was not fired in the incident, rather the man was simply walking with a gun. The incident was discussed by Denino and a friend on a later stream.

  • Ice Poseidon stream sniper MexicanAndy unbanned on Twitch after 4 years – Dexerto

Ice Poseidon stream sniper MexicanAndy unbanned on Twitch after 4 years Twitch/Instagram: realmexicanandyStreamer Andy ‘MexicanAndy’ Martin was banned on Twitch back in the summer of 2017 — and now the platform has lifted his ban after four years. In July 2017, MexicanAndy was banned on Twitch for breaking the platform’s Terms of Service, as a part of the crew of also-banned Ice Poseidon. While Ice, Andy, and co. were considered a controversial group because of their content style and the drama that surrounded them, they still saw decent success on Twitch and, after their subsequent bans, YouTube and other platforms. For the most part, fans have always believed that there’s no way Ice Poseidon and his cohorts make their way back to Twitch — but it appears the tide is changing. On October 22, 2021, Mexican Andy posted a tweet confirming that his four-year-long ban from Twitch had finally been overturned. “Is this real?” he asked, clearly in shock at what was happening. “Actually unbanned on Twitch after 4 years and 3 months.” Alongside it was a screenshot of his Twitch channel under the name Scufious, looking alive and well, showing off his 12k followers and looking just as he left it in 2017. IS THIS REAL???? ACTUALLY UNBANNED ON TWITCH AFTER 4 YEARS AND 3MONTHS 😱 pic.twitter.com/1pyXlxHbWM — Mexican Andy (@MexicanAndySZN) October 22, 2021 While Andy hasn’t streamed on his recovered Twitch channel at the time of writing, it’s surely only a matter of time before he goes live. This isn’t the first time Andy has appeared on Twitch since his ban, however. Back in 2019, Twitch themselves used a clip of his in an ad, leaving Andy — and everyone else — completely baffled. It’s also given many fans in the replies hope that, before long, they might see people like Ice Poseidon make their grand return to Twitch. Though, there are some streamers who are sure that’ll never happen.

  • Ice Poseidon explains his side of infamous plane swatting that led to Twitch ban – Dexerto

Ice Poseidon explains his side of infamous plane swatting that led to Twitch ban YouTube: DexertoVeteran IRL streamer Paul ‘Ice Poseidon’ Denino has detailed his version of the dramatic events which led to him being permanently banned from Twitch. Denino was famously suspended indefinitely from the platform when he was removed from an airplane by police after being falsely accused of having a bomb. Ice Poseidon had built his career as one of the most popular, and of the first, IRL streamers. With a formidable fanbase around him, it looked like there was no end to Denino’s Twitch domination. However, it all came crashing down after he was swatted while on an airplane due to a hoax bomb threat. After the incident made headlines across the US, he was permanently banned from Twitch, which caused a fiery row among the streaming community. Now, Denino has shared his take on the drama and what really happened including how, according to him, Twitch originally denied that he could be banned over the incident. Ice Poseidon on plane swatting incident Ice Poseidon had been livestreaming his experience in the lead-up to boarding his flight from LA to Austin back in April 2017. After revealing his gate number, a troll rang the authorities falsely claiming that the streamer was carrying a bomb which led to him being escorted off the plane by police. When the plane made an unexpected landing in Phoenix, Denino was horrified to see police arrive on the plane. However, he suspected that he could have been swatted once again. “Please don’t f**king come over to me,” he thought. Sure enough, the police were looking for him. “Getting pulled off the plane in front of 200 people… these people think I’m a f**cking terrorist or something now,” Denino stated. He then went through a grueling interrogation from the FBI about the incident. Ice Poseidon claims Twitch rejected his ban fears As the event made national headlines, Denino feared he could be at risk of being banned from Twitch. According to him, however, when he brought up his concerns with his Twitch rep he was assured it wouldn’t happen as the swatting didn’t occur during his stream. “I asked my Twitch representative, I said ‘Hey, am I going to get banned because the swatting didn’t happen on stream. Nobody knew I got swatted until it came out on the f**cking news,” Denino claimed. “He’s like ‘well, it didn’t happen on stream so, no.’” However, he was subsequently banned indefinitely and the internet erupted over the drama. “When you get banned on Twitch, you pretty much got f**cked and no one’s going to watch me anymore.” The first few days following the ban were, understandably, hard for Denino given how he had built his career on Twitch. He also claimed it was particularly upsetting as it brought back his past before he began streaming when he had “nothing” and he “didn’t want to lose” it all. Yet, Denino persevered and moved to YouTube gaining 735K subscribers, as of writing. Although, he has since made various appeals to Twitch to have his ban revoked.

  • Ice Poseidon shocked after accidentally walking into stranger’s house – Dexerto

Ice Poseidon shocked after accidentally walking into stranger’s house Twitter: REALIcePoseidonKick streamer Ice Poseidon was in the middle of broadcasting his travels abroad when he accidentally walked into a random woman’s house, giving them both quite a shock. IRL streaming is a hugely popular category of live broadcast, where streamers share their activities and travels with viewers in real-time. One of the more prominent types of IRL streams are traveling broadcasts. Several high-profile streamers are known for showcasing their travels abroad, although many influencers will live stream their vacations from time to time as a break from their usual content. Ice Poseidon is one of these streamers. The creator is currently in the middle of a trip in Nepal with some of his buddies — but one of his most recent excursions in the country didn’t go as planned. Ice Poseidon accidentally walks into woman’s backyard during IRL stream Ice was trying to link up with a friend while walking down a street when he turned into an open corridor, which, to the untrained eye, could have looked like an alleyway. However, the streamer then stepped into what looked like someone’s backyard — a theory that was proven true after a woman stepped out of a room behind him. “I think I’m in… oh, is this somebody’s house?” Ice questioned during a phone call with a friend before turning around to find the woman looking at him. “Oh, hi, am I in your house?” She nodded, confirming his suspicions. Ice went on to walk through her backyard in an attempt to find his friends — but they ended up finding him first, walking through the woman’s house into her backyard to join up with him. Luckily, everything turned out alright in the end, although the experience certainly made for an interesting afternoon for all involved. This is just the latest IRL streaming kerfuffle to go viral after a man helped out a drunk passenger crawling off a train in Japan.

  • Ice Poseidon reveals daily swatting incidents left him with PTSD – Dexerto

Ice Poseidon reveals daily swatting incidents left him with PTSD YouTube: Dexerto/ Ice PoseidonYouTuber Paul ‘Ice Poseidon’ Denino has revealed that he has suffered from PTSD (post-traumatic stress disorder) after being swatted by trolls “multiple times a day.” Swatting is a worryingly recurrent crime. Popular streamers have had their homes raided by armed police due to trolls online getting hold of their address and making hoax emergency phone calls to the authorities. One content creator who knows about swatting all too well is Ice Poseidon, who was even swatted when boarding a plane – resulting in his permanent Twitch ban. The IRL streamer has revealed that he was swatted as often as “four times a day” and was left fearing for his life. So much so, that it gave him PTSD. Ice Poseidon claims he was swatted daily In a Dexerto Originals documentary, Denino claimed that he was swatted on a daily basis after sharing his personal address or his location with viewers. “I think I got swatted every single day for a year. Multiple times a day,” Denino said. “One time, a SWAT team came to my house three times in like four hours.” When Denino approached the SWAT teams about the hoax, including the same officers who would attend the call, he was told that they still had to respond due to “protocol.” (Topic starts at 14:18 in the video) However, some viewers argued that Denino “enjoyed” being swatted as it attracted attention. Although he admitted that it did bring him viewership, it also “brought the wrong kind of viewers.” At one point, he feared for his life after a viewer claimed they claimed they were coming to his house with a gun during his livestream. “I had real PTSD of being shot all the time,” Denino stated. “It took me a while to get over that. I could not keep my back to a window. I would think someone’s going to f**king shoot me through the window in my house.” In the end, it was swatting that brought Ice Poseidon’s Twitch career to an end. Although he then moved to YouTube, it wasn’t enough to escape the problem. Swatting is illegal and can carry a lengthy jail sentence. One particularly infamous swatter, Tyler Barriss, was sentenced to 20 years in prison for a swatting that resulted in the death of Kansas father, after he falsely claimed a kidnapping and shooting had taken place at the address.

  • ICE Poseidon says big investors in his CXCoin coin were “idiots” amid scam allegations – Dexerto

ICE Poseidon says big investors in his CXCoin coin were “idiots” amid scam allegations Dexerto, ICE PoseidonBanned Twitch streamer Paul ‘Ice Poseidon’ Denino called big backers of his cryptocurrency, CXCoin, “idiots” amid allegations he rug pulled the coin for $500,000. Back on January 31, former streamer ICE Poseidon announced he planned to keep the $500,000 he’d made through his abandoned cryptocurrency, ‘CXCoin.’ At the time, he had zero intention of giving back any of the money and said, “Yeah, I could give the money back. It is within my power. But I’m going to look after myself and not do that.” Now, the exiled streamer has insulted the people who threw massive amounts of cash behind the dead project. ICE Poseidon calls CXCoin investors “idiots” Denino addressed the CXCoin controversy for the first time since February – this time taking demanding investors to take responsibility for their investments after losing tons. Poseidon spoke with Dexerto about those who lost money on the coin and seemingly absolved himself of wrongdoing. The 27-year-old said: “What are you, their f**king dad? You’re a streamer. You’re not their dad. If somebody wants to gamble their life savings away like an idiot, then they’re gonna learn the hard way. They have to take some responsibility eventually.” He finished his thoughts on the alleged scam, saying, “It’s a dog-eat-dog world out there.” Time starts at 21:57 Although ICE previously said he wouldn’t pay back any of the money he made from the failed crypto project, he’s since pledged to pay back $150,000 of investor money. As of now, only $40,000 of that amount has been refunded so far. It’s unclear as of now if the banned streamer has plans to pay the rest of the amount owed to investors.

  • Ice Poseidon punches attacker who sprayed him with “acid” – Dexerto

Ice Poseidon punches attacker who sprayed him with “acid” Ice PoseidonIce Poseidon was seen hitting a viewer who sprayed him with “acid” during his IRL stream, and police were called soon after. Kick streamer Ice Poseidon has been involved in a series of strange events over the past few months while IRL streaming. His own controversial actions on stream have led to a series of arrests and backlash from the community towards him and his platform Kick for allowing the streams to happen. At the start of October, he ended up calling the police to deal with a viewer who emptied a cup of sewage water over him during an IRL stream. Just a few days later, a remarkably similar incident happened, but this time someone sprayed his face with an unknown substance. Ice Poseidon gets sprayed in his face during IRL stream During the IRL stream, he is seen sitting down in a public place with a group of his friends who often have appeared in his broadcasts. A stranger then approaches from behind wearing a hood and mask to hide his face. They begin to spray the streamer with something before quickly running off into the distance. “What the f**k is that? Yo, get him! He sprayed my eyes with f**king acid or something! What? What the f**k did you just do?” Ice Poseidon is heard yelling as they all run after them. They managed to catch up with the suspected stream sniper and apprehend them, where he could be seen being held firmly on the ground as they proceeded to ask him questions and call the police. The man was detained and escorted away by law enforcement officers in Victoria, Melbourne. Many believe that his controversial actions are why the creator has kept being targeted by these pre-planned attacks, while others have suspected that the events were even set up for his own benefit. At the time of writing, there have been no further updates in regard to the situation. In June he was arrested by police in Thailand, Bangkok, for giving lap dances in their hotel lounge. Just a few months later, he received severe backlash leading Kick to even address the issues, after he allegedly paid a man to hire an escort and broadcast it live.

  • ICE_POSEIDON named by TV news station after Tampa mayor’s Twitter gets hacked – Dexerto

ICE_POSEIDON named by TV news station after Tampa mayor’s Twitter gets hacked ICE_POSEIDON, YouTube / Netral EnglishPopular IRL streamer ICE_POSEIDON has been linked to the hacking of a Florida mayor’s Twitter account, as told by a local news outlet for the city of Tampa. A television segment covering the story from ‘Tampa 10 News’ claimed that POSEIDON had been tagged in a few of the hacker’s offending tweets, which have since been deleted from the mayor’s account. The segment went on to claim that POSEIDON “spews racist and extreme views online,” hinting that the streamer could be the hacker behind the malicious attack. However, POSEIDON wasn’t the only popular internet personality mentioned in the hacker’s tweets; YouTube king Felix ‘PewDiePie’ Kjellberg was also named by TIME in their coverage of the incident. TIME reported that the hacker had encouraged viewers to subscribe to PewDiePie in one post, likely due to his ongoing battle against Bollywood label T-Series. https://www.tubefilter.com/2018/11/12/pewdiepie-continues-to-outrun-t-series/The tweets in question were reported to have contained “racist and pornographic content,” with some even threatening a ballistic missile launch in the area. “I have hidden a bomb in a package somewhere,” one tweet read. “Looking forward to seeing some minorities die.” https://www.reddit.com/r/LiveFails/comments/atscuc/ding_ding_accused_of_hacking_tampa_mayors_twitter/The hack was targeted at Tampa mayor Bob Buckhorn on February 21, and occurred just ahead of the city’s mayoral election. Yes, the Kick flag is there. “This was one of the hardest things I’ve ever done in my entire life so I better get nominated IRL streamer of the year or it’s rigged!” Ice Poseidon also confirmed that he would next be taking the stream to Korea. He’s not the only streamer who was messing around in Nepal. Another Kick creator, imjoel3004, was also preparing for the Everest climb when he had one too many drinks in a bar and fell over. • ICE_POSEIDON Locks Another Five Contestants in His Closet and is Allowing Viewers to Mess With Them – Dexerto

ICE_POSEIDON Locks Another Five Contestants in His Closet and is Allowing Viewers to Mess With Them Controversial IRL streamer ICE_POSEIDON has locked five contestants in his closet for a live-streamed gameshow on his YouTube channel. Paul ‘ICE_POSEIDON’ Denino is one of the more daring real-life streamers currently on the internet, with a fanatical audience who are willing to do anything in pursuit of a few laughs. In April 2017 he was banned permanently from Twitch after he was swatted on a plane following a prank call from one of his views. The live streaming website deemed his attempts to hide his location before getting on the flight as unacceptable. As a result, ICE went straight over to YouTube and continued to stream on a daily basis from his Hollywood apartment, and has continued to push the boundaries of what’s acceptable. In March 2018 he attempted to see how long a number of contestants could last in his closet, with an estimated time frame of 72 hours. The entire thing was streamed and viewers could donate to play any music track of their choice into the room. After four hours the police arrived at the property and shut it down. Not one to be stopped, ICE_POSEIDON has started up the gameshow again and on May 1st he placed five contestants in the closet, with viewers once again allowed to play any kind of sound they wanted through to the giant speaker. There appears to be plenty of weed and alcohol to keep everyone happy. Over the course of the stream, the viewers will vote out each contestant one by one until a winner is crowned. That’s not all, KEEMSTAR also alleged that POSEIDON would be removing a slew of streamers from his CX Network following Pepper’s ban, and would be replacing the personalities with new streamers (the identities of which are as yet unknown). This isn’t the first scandal Sam Pepper has been involved in, either. The former YouTuber-turned-streamer faced sexual assault allegations in 2014, after six women came forward with claims that they had been touched inappropriately and harassed by Pepper. https://i.kym-cdn.com/entries/icons/original/000/016/507/new-profile-pic-cropped-smaller.jpgThree additional women likewise claimed that Pepper had groped them at a YouTube event in London, choosing to keep their identity a secret for fear of further harassment.

  • Ice Poseidon facing 5 years in Thai prison after “obscene” lap dance on Kick stream – Dexerto

Ice Poseidon facing 5 years in Thai prison after “obscene” lap dance on Kick stream Kick/Ice PoseidonKick streamer Ice Poseidon says he’s facing up to five years in a Thailand jail after he was arrested for giving his girlfriend a lap dance. A party at a hotel restaurant in Thailand has become a nightmare for Ice Poseidon and his crew of Kick streamer friends when their shenanigans upset a manager. On June 28, Ice was partying it up inside the restaurant, wearing lingerie and giving his girlfriend Kimberlee a lapdance that she won’t ever forget, for all the wrong reasons. Shortly after the dance, the manager showed up and had the streamers arrested where they’ve since learned their antics could result in a ton of jail time. Ice Poseidon says he “won’t survive” Thai jail after lap dance arrest In the time since being arrested, Ice Poseidon has shared updates on Discord, revealing he spent $12,000 on bail and could be stuck in Thailand until his court date in 2024. According to Ice, the Thai jail he was in before posting bail was awful, explaining how he was only given a bucket with “poop already in it” if he had to use the bathroom. “If I get 5 years I’m just going to kill myself. I will not be able to survive Thai jail,” the streamer said. In another post, he revealed that he was charged with “distribution of obscene content” because he filmed the lap dance. He also claimed that Kimberlee’s dress was a problem because it was “too revealing.” The Kick star says that his charges are the same as the ones levied against OnlyFans creators back in 2021 for violating Thailand’s Computer Crime Act. As he awaits a court date and has his Visa extended, Ice has said that everyone is so stressed out they may not even stream on Kick for the foreseeable future. “I’m in mental torment,” he said. “I cannot be myself.” However, circumstances have changed. Ice Poseidon claims that the charges have since been dropped. He isn’t in the clear just yet, but he’s made progress in the case according to more messages posted in his Discord. While Ice went on to claim that there’s “still a chance” he goes to jail in Thailand, he’s on the road to being a free man.

  • Ice Poseidon hits out at social media hate after Karl Jacobs apology for supporting him – Dexerto

Ice Poseidon hits out at social media hate after Karl Jacobs apology for supporting him Ice PoseidonControversial live streamer Paul ‘ICE POSEIDON‘ Denino has hit back at all the hate he’s been receiving after being dragged into the drama surrounding Minecraft star Karl Jacobs. ICE POSEIDON rose to popularity thanks to his unusual IRL (in-real-life) streams where he and a group of creators would travel around the United States, ultimately trolling people or getting into trouble. Fans swarmed to his streams because some kind of drama was guaranteed to happen, but he eventually got shut down by Twitch and moved to YouTube, where his streams have become a little more infrequent and less wild than before. While he’s been out of the spotlight for a while, he was dragged into some viral drama after fans of YouTuber Karl Jacobs started criticizing him for interacting with Denino back in the day. The former Twitch star responded to Karl’s apology, offering some ‘advice’ about not letting his fans shame him into being sorry that he was a fan of Ice’s streams, and wanted an apology for the “emotional hurt” that the drama had caused him. “I’m a pretty strong person emotionally, but I feel so drained, isolated, and alone,” Ice tweeted. “I haven’t felt this bad in YEARS and the social media game is so f**king dehumanizing, everything everyone says is for attention and clout, no one has anyone’s back and I can’t take it.” He followed that up, stating that he’s “sick and tired of being everybody’s scapegoat,” given he can’t really defend himself because he’s banned from Twitch. I went through the same shit, heed my advice or your toxic fans will continue to push the boundaries until it’s too late, IT HAPPENED TO ME. As he said himself, people who have his back usually do so more in private than public so maybe things will get sorted out in the DM’s.

Ice Poseidon denies claims he stole $300k from fans in CXCoin crypto launch Instagram: ice_poseidonControversial streamer Paul ‘Ice Poseidon’ Denino has issued another response to recent CXCoin cryptocurrency drama, denying accusations that he directly “stole or scammed” from upwards of $300,000 from his fans. Crypto-fuelled drama hasn’t slowed down one bit in the new year. After a year where many of the internet’s biggest stars were linked to various scandals, some of which ended up tarnishing careers, the trend has continued in 2022. The latest controversy saw divisive content creator Ice Poseidon confronted by popular YouTube investigator Coffezilla. Ice Poseidon was exposed for promoting a “long-term” project known as CXCoin. Before long, he openly admitted to “taking $500,000+ from his fans” through the crypto project. “Yeah I could give the money back,” he said in a February 1 response. “But I’m going to look after myself and not do that.” In light of the backlash that followed, he has since released another statement denying any such claims that fans were “scammed.” 🚨BREAKING! The streamer argued he “only advertised it to people in the ‘cryptosphere,’” not outsiders that would be “extremely vulnerable to a highly volatile market.” After temporarily pushing the product, Ice Poseidon then took out “a portion” of his investment, nearly $300,000. At the time, he claimed this was simply the right thing to do. At all times, I will guarantee every CXCoin holder to be able to sell their tokens if they wish to.”

  • ICE POSEIDON denies running Ponzi scheme while admitting he’s running a Ponzi scheme – Dexerto

ICE POSEIDON denies running Ponzi scheme while admitting he’s running a Ponzi scheme Twitter / @REALIcePoseidonControversial live streamer Paul ‘ICE POSEIDON‘ Denino has denied running a ‘Ponzi’ scheme, during a clip of him explaining his business model and describing what sounds remarkably like a Ponzi scheme. ICE POSEIDON shot to popularity as an ‘IRL’ (In Real Life) streamer on both Twitch and YouTube (he moved to YouTube after being banned from Twitch), and now runs the ‘Cx’ streaming network. His next project is a website called ‘scuffed.com’, which currently simply reads ‘coming soon’ with clips from Denino’s live stream in the background. But, the funding for this website has raised suspicions. A YouTube video titled “Ice Poseidon Admits to Running A PONZI SCHEME”, has racked up over half a million views in 24 hours, after being shared to popular subreddit r/Videos. The clip, taken from an ICE POSEIDON broadcast, shows the streamer explaining his plan to raise capital for scuffed.com, and viewers have likened it to the fraudulent investment scheme made famous by Charles Ponzi. “For the investors to make their money back, we grow the company to a certain point, then we have other investors come in, they invest their money as well. Then when we get more than $2 million invested, the other investors will get their $2 million back.” Catching himself, POSEIDON states that he explained it badly, and denies that it is a Ponzi scheme, but later restates “they [investors] are paid back by either equity that’s not diluted, or they just get their money back because more investors have invested money.” Other streamers have commented on what appears to be an admission of a Ponzi scheme, including popular Twitch streamer Steven ‘Destiny‘ Bonell, who said “he’s literally describing a Ponzi scheme”. The video made it to the very front page of Reddit, and although Denino hasn’t attempted to explain further himself, he shared a video from YouTuber Daniel ‘KEEMSTAR‘ Keem – who says it is not a Ponzi scheme. However, KEEMSTAR does not address Denino’s specific comments where he explicitly stated that investors would be repaid with money from new investors. Keem is alot better at explaining shit than I am. There’s seems to be some confusion so hopefully this video explains it a lot better than I did. https://t.co/27Ka5Z1DyY — Ice_Poseidon (@REALIcePoseidon) February 26, 2019 Denino has grown a large loyal following, both personally and with other streamers on the ‘Cx’ network. Scuffed.com still appears to be in development and is “coming soon” – provided the investment strategy is not in fact a fraudulent pyramid scheme. What is a Ponzi scheme? Also known as a pyramid scheme, a Ponzi scheme is a form of investment fraud, where initial investors are repaid with the money from new investors, while the ‘company’ itself actually makes no money. Investors are often promised incredibly high returns in a short period of time, and throughout, the orchestrator of the scheme will siphon off and pocket some of the investment capital.

  • Ice Poseidon claims criminal charges have been dropped after arrest in Thailand – Dexerto

Ice Poseidon claims criminal charges have been dropped after arrest in Thailand Ice PoseidonKick streamer Ice Poseidon has claimed that criminal charges have been dropped following his arrest in Thailand after giving his girlfriend a lap dance in a restaurant. Ice Poseidon is notoriously known within the streaming world for his sometimes wild shenanigans. Notably, he was the first-ever IRL streamer on Twitch and also had absolutely no boundaries when it came to making content. It all eventually came crashing down in 2017, as he was swatted while on an airplane which landed him a permanent ban from the Amazon-owned platform. However, with the recent rise of a new platform, Kick, Ice Poseidon is back streaming in full force. Ice Poseidon criminal charges dropped after arrest in Thailand On June 28, the Kick streamer was wearing lingerie in a restaurant, where he gave his girlfriend a lapdance. However, the manager eventually showed up, and had Ice and his friends arrested. The streamer claimed he’s facing up to five years in Thailand jail, and was forced to pay $12,000 to be released on bail. However, Ice has revealed criminal charges have been dropped, but he could still be stuck in the country until his eventual court date. “So I met with my lawyer today. And I have good news,” he wrote in his Discord. “The charges have been dropped on everyone except hyub since I didn’t put him on the lawyer retainer. “I still have to go to court MAYBE just because of the process but we aren’t getting any jail. My lawyer is meeting with the police to see if they’ll throw case out so I don’t have to wait months until court.” He elaborated: “So I have no charges but I still have court.” While the charges have been dropped, presumably by the restaurant manager, the streamer explained he could still face some jail time. “There’s still a chance we go to jail, but it’s very unlikely without anyone pressing charges on me. “I’ll stream tomorrow I’m waiting to hear more info back from my lawyers about if the police will just throw it out entirely so I don’t have to go to court,” he said. Once the case is done and dusted, the streamer plans on continuing on his travels, heading to Brunei — another country in Asia. “When all this is done and we leave Thailand I was thinking about going to Brunei”

While his ‘life streaming’ content has been a surefire hit with his fanatic viewers, he’s never been too away from controversy either. Ice Poseidon is going to “look out for himself” amid controversy Speaking with Coffeezilla, a YouTube who often investigates influencers involved with cryptocurrency, Ice Poseidon was asked whether he’d want to “keep the money” earned from CXC. “You want to keep the money, that you took from the project even though it’s not yours, that you failed to deliver,” Coffeezilla said as he opened up the subject to Poseidon. Ice Poisedon responded: “I mean, I’m not really sure what you want me to say, but yeah.” Coffeezilla continued probing Poseidon for a resolution to the issue: “I’m trying to like get you to return the money, but it’s 100% still available.” 🚨BREAKING! ICE_POSEIDON and Adam22 Hosted Boxing Event at the Same Time as KSI vs Logan Paul YouTuber and Livestreamer Paul “Ice Poseidon” Denino hosted his own boxing event during the KSI vs Logan Paul match. Ice Poseidon hosted his second annual UFCx event on August 25th. Streamed through YouTube for a live audience, Poseidon gathered a sizeable crowd in a boxing gym to throw down with multiple internet personalities. While the first UFCx match was held in a backyard due to venue difficulties, this year’s match saw an increase in budget. Complete with a ring girl, a seasoned commentator, and a legitimate boxing ring, the second UFCx saw a vast improvement over its predecessor. Commentated by Adam22, another popular Youtuber, the event featured a variety of other YouTubers, including Burger Planet, Mexican Andy, Yuber, and more. Much like the KSI vs Logan Paul card, many of the fights showed massive differences in weight and height. In one match, Mexican Andy weighed in at 200 lbs and stands at 5 feet 5 inches, where his opponent, F Munch, stood at 5 feet 8 inches and weighed 155 lbs. MOMO wasn’t the only YouTuber bringing taunts into the boxing ring. Scuffed Phelps broke into a series of pushups as a mean to taunt his opponent, Yuber, who was a full 40 lbs heavier than Phelps. Poseidon’s UFCx was streamed during the KSI vs Logan Paul match, which garnered over 800,000 views on YouTube and over 1.2 million on Twitch. While Poseidon’s initiative reached a much smaller audience, with the VOD having over 180,000 views, there is something to be said for the event’s ironic and scrappy nature.

  • Ice Poseidon calls police on viewer after they pour sewage on him – Dexerto

Ice Poseidon calls police on viewer after they pour sewage on him Kick:IcePoseidonIce Poseidon ended up calling the police to deal with a viewer who emptied a cup of sewage water over him during an IRL stream. The top Kick streamer was streaming on a pier when someone walked up behind him with a cup and emptied it over him. The attacker then ran away, with several of Ice’s friends giving chase, while the streamer himself tried to figure out what had been poured over him, with him remarking that “it smells like sh*t.” The attack was likely pre-planned, as the viewer knew exactly where Ice was and had prepared the sewage to empty over him. Ice Poseidon ambushed by viewer who threw sewage at him When Ice and the cameraman caught up with the rest of the crowd, they had the assailant pinned to the ground. Bizarrely, he was being held in a chokehold by Sam Pepper, who was wearing a maid outfit. The group interrogated the attacker while calling the police, and repeatedly asked what the substance that he had poured on Ice was. The was originally no answer, but they quickly clocked that it had to be sewage or human waste judging from the smell. Police arrived later in the day to take the attacker into custody. Luckily, the whole event was filmed on camera, and Ice was able to show authorities what had happened. The attacker was put in the back of a police van and was taken away. The police recommended that Ice take some blood tests to ensure nothing was transmitted in the substance. It isn’t the first time some wierd things have gone down on Ice’s stream. Earlier this year, he was almost put in a Thailand jail for giving a lap dance. On June 28 Paul “Ice Poseidon” Denino and a group of fellow Kick streamers were arrested in their hotel in Bangkok as their lounge party got out of hand. The manager booted the entourage from the restaurant, with the police soon getting involved. Ice Poseidon and his crew were arrested and detained by the local authorities and shortly after faced the possibility of up to five years of jail time in Thailand. However, while the charges were soon dropped, they had their visas extended for a mandatory court date. Now, almost two months removed from the incident, Ice Poseidon and his crew are allowed to leave Thailand. Ice Poseidon now allowed to leave Thailand after arrest and potential prison time “We’re free and we’re able to leave Thailand!” announced Ice Poseidon in a tweet. “Waited two months for court and plead guilty and got lucky with just some fines. Almost had jail time but got very lucky with [a] nice judge.” He ended the tweet, “F*** the haters wanting injustice, I hope you’re mad I’ll keep killing it on Kick!” Despite being stuck in Thailand for several months awaiting his court date, Ice Poseidon continued to stream on his Kick channel all the while. According to his tweet, Ice Poseidon posted the reveal from Tokyo, which means he has presumably already left Thailand. Previous to his court date, Ice Poseidon posted an apology to his Twitter account, saying, “I did not know the severity of the actions caused, and I was just trying to have fun. I’m sorry.” Ice Poseidon had also claimed that “horrible things” were done to him and his girlfriend, Kimberly, during their arrest. Ice Poseidon “almost dies” as streamer falls off frozen mountain during a blizzard YouTube/SuspendaSStreamer Ice Poseidon and a few others nearly died after climbing a frozen mountain in Japan during a raging blizzard. During a recent live stream, Ice Poseidon, SuspendaS, and Joel3004 were climbing Mount Asahi during a blizzard – a decision that proved to be very dangerous. The conditions going up the mountain proved to be hazardous as all they could see in front of them was the bright snow, making it difficult to tell where to go during the IRL YouTube broadcast. Although the three were streaming, two members of the group lost service during a whiteout, leaving just SuspendaS available to record the treacherous path ahead and the way back. Streamers almost die filming mountain climb with Ice Poseidon As the group headed back down, Joel3004 fell down, alarming the group. “Oh God! Oh my God!” they cried as he literally toppled what appeared to be ten feet down the mountain and couldn’t see due to the weather conditions. “What if that was an actual mountain cliff, you’d have been dead!” the group warned, concerned for their friend. After taking it easy the rest of the way, the trio managed to get back to their base where they regrouped. On Twitter, Ice Poseidon summarized the events. “We almost died! Had to turn around got lost in a white out for 20 mins and lost service, although my friend Suspendas had service and it was wild,” he said. “My friend Joel fell off a mountain.” Not deterred, however, the streamer said that he plans on tackling Mount Everest next, but it’s not clear when that will be. In any case, the three managed to make it out safely despite the horrific weather.

Having gained popularity from his time spent with G2esports as a full-time content creator, Ibai separated from the team earlier this year and moved in with eight of his close friends and various streamers. The influencer went on to create the Balloon World Cup, basing it around a sport he made up where two players battle to keep a balloon in the air. The sport can be compared to volleyball, except inside a room with tables and chairs spread around. On a recent episode of NBA on TNT, the hosts decided to end the show with “a little bit of fun” as they played the game on National TV. Balloon World Cup on ‘NBA on TNT’ Showing a TikTok video of two people playing the Balloon game, Shaq mentioned that it’s been a thing for a while, and there was a whole world cup based on it. “This is an accident waiting to happen,” Smith explained as they showed the last match of the World Cup on screen. As the hosts stood up from their desks, Johnson started to explain the rules of the game. They didn’t start without friendly banter between the two, though, as Shaq turned to Charles and said: “You better not get in my way.” As the retired basketball stars chased after the balloon on set, they all seemed to want to quit the game rather quickly. Everyone agreed with Shaq when he said: “Who came up with this stupid game?” In the end, it appeared that they all had fun, and it’s certainly interesting to see a Twitch streamer’s idea for a fun pastime make its way to national TV.

In 2022, KSI and Logan Paul released Prime sports drinks around the world. The brand has since enjoyed nothing short of meteoric success in the many months since then. Prime drinks continue to prove incredibly popular, so much so that the reseller market has a field day whenever a new flavor drops. Ebay sellers were listing bottles of the Lemonade flavor for hundreds of Euros a few weeks ago, for example. History will likely repeat itself very soon, given that Prime Energy plans on rolling out yet another new flavor this week. Prime Energy welcomes a new flavor – Ice Pop On May 30, Logan Paul broke the news that yet another flavor, Ice Pop, will soon join the Prime Energy family. According to Paul, the Ice Pop-flavored sports drink hits store shelves in the United States this week. Those eager to get their hands on Ice Pop Energy can expect to find it at the following retailers: GNC, Kroger, Target, Walmart, and The Vitamin Shoppe. UK shoppers will have to wait a little while longer, though, with Ice Pop slated to arrive in that territory in two weeks. Of course, Prime already has an Ice Pop flavor for its bottled Hydration drinks. This news, however, is for those who’ve been patiently awaiting Ice Pop Energy, which “gets a boost of caffeine with zero sugar and only 10 calories.” If past is prologue, reason suggests the newest Energy flavor will sell out quickly once it arrives in stores. The difficult-to-combat reseller market will likely take advantage of that fact, too. • Ibai reveals how he really felt during Messi Twitch interview – Dexerto

Ibai reveals how he really felt during Messi Twitch interview Ibai/YoutubeSpanish streamer Ibai Llanos has revealed he was more than a little nervous when he got to interview the one and only football legend Lionel Messi. Ibai has become one of the top streamers on Twitch as a whole, and his exclusive interviews with some of the top football stars in the world doesn’t hurt his growth either. It was this access that was the focus of a New York Times report on the streamer on September 15. Here, the streamer revealed how it felt to meet the man who’s arguably the biggest name in sports today. View this post on Instagram Anyone would understandably have some nerves meeting Messi, let alone interviewing him on Twitch for tens of thousands of viewers, and according to Ibai, it was close to overwhelming. “It was a bit like having vertigo,” Llanos was quoted in the Times discussing the meet and greet on Twitch. Considering how massive of an opportunity it was, it’s no surprise Ibai was feeling starstruck a bit. That wasn’t the first time the two had met though; the streamer also attended Messi’s Barcelona going away party, which the superstar mentioned in the later interview. After Ibai jokingly asked if he had eaten too much at the party, the newly-minted PSG player said he had behaved “very well,” hardly eating anything. Timestamp at 8:40 for mobile viewers. “I don’t know if you eat a lot or a little, that day you didn’t eat anything,” Messi told the streamer. “I don’t know if it was the nerves or what it was.” Ibai’s association with Messi and other top footballers is, as you might expect, doing wonders for his numbers on Twitch and YouTube. For example, over 2 million people tuned into watch his co-stream of Messi’s first match with PSG. Now that he’s been to the top of the mountain, and felt like it too, we’ll have to see if Ibai manages to be a little more cool calm and collected the next time he meets Messi, or any other big-name footballer.

  • Ibai reveals why he was banned on Twitch for 24 hours – Dexerto

Ibai reveals why he was banned on Twitch for 24 hours Twitch/IbaiUPDATE January 12, 10:48 AM PST: Ibai has been unbanned on Twitch after a 24-hour period, joking that he has finally been “out of jail.” As for his comeback stream, it looks like Ibai is excited to discuss fellow Spanish streamer TheGrefg’s jaw-dropping Twitch record that occurred just yesterday, as well as broadcasting some in-game shenanigans with his bros. Salí de la cárcel Os cuento todo lo que va a cambiar mi vida en los próximos días, hablamos del récord de Grefg y Willy siendo padre Después me meto a EGOLAND a hacer la petrolera con Ander y Reven Entras o estás bobo?https://t.co/cL2WMcjsI6 pic.twitter.com/eiFMllVkAI — Ibai (@IbaiLlanos) January 12, 2021 Original story as follows: Former Spanish League of Legends caster-turned-popular content creator and Twitch streamer Ibai ‘Ibai’ Llanos revealed the bizarre reason he was banned from the platform. On January 11, Ibai’s Twitch account was banned, causing many to wonder exactly why he was suspended. As it turns out, the culprit was a similar issue to what happened with Sebastian ‘Forsen’ Fors back in November. Taking to Twitter, Ibai explained that he was competing in the country guessing game ‘Geoguesser’ when a kid decided to join his session. The streamer was caught off-guard by the player who’d joined, as they had a photo of a penis as their profile picture. Gente estoy baneadito un día de Twitch porque un chaval decidió meterse a una partida de Geoguesser (juego de adivinar países) con un pene de foto de perfil y el nombre de “Ibaibaneado” Desde aquí le quería agradecer al chaval este acto que ha tenido por darme un día libre 🙏🙏 — Ibai (@IbaiLlanos) January 11, 2021 It seems like the player had the intention to punish Ibai, as the user’s name was “Ibaibanead,o” which basically translates to ‘Ibai banned.’ Video of the incident shows the streamer laughing when the player with the inappropriate photo joined the lobby, but to his credit, he did try backing out. Sadly, the damage was already done. Even though he may be banned, Ibai is remaining in high spirits, writing: “From here, I wanted to thank the kid for this act. He had to give me a day off.” This comment seems to indicate that the ban is only for 24 hours, and fans of Llanos should expect to see him back as early as January 12 -that is, of course, if he decides to return to streaming just as the ban expires. The decision to ban Ibai may prove to be controversial, however, as back in December, Twitch’s COO Sara Clemens spoke out against users trying to “game the system to get someone else in trouble.” “We always take that into account,” she said in regards to streamers being punished for the actions of others. It will be interesting to see how Twitch handles the ban and if this counts as a serious strike on the streamer’s record. In any case, at least the suspension isn’t indefinite.

  • Ibai Llanos breaks Twitch viewership record with La Velada del Año 3 – Dexerto

Ibai Llanos breaks Twitch viewership record with La Velada del Año 3 Ibai | TwitterIbai’s third boxing event has once again broken the Twitch viewership record with over 3.4 million viewers at its peak, cementing him as the biggest creator on the platform. Even though Twitch has had its fair share of recent controversy and some of its biggest creators signed away to Kick, the platform is still alive and well. Especially when it comes to international audiences. The Spanish-speaking audience on Twitch is massive, with many site records being held by and for those who don’t primarily speak English. And, despite Amouranth pulling out due to health issues, he’s managed to put together a record-breaking stream. Ibai has outdone himself, topping his own Twitch all-time viewership record with La Velada del Año 3, a boxing event that mainly features some of the biggest streamers on the platform. Ibai tops his own Twitch viewership record For a long time, big esports events held the top spots when it came to Twitch’s biggest livestreams. High-stakes tournaments in games like League of Legends and Counter Strike pulled in massive viewership. While those tournaments still hold their spot as some of the most viewed streams on Twitch, creator-led events have taken the platform by storm. Ibai has a reputation for trying to push Twitch streaming to the next level with high-production value events that come close to what’s offered on major television broadcasts. The effort of him and his team has paid off in spades, with him holding the record for most viewership on Twitch with his La Velada del Año 2 boxing event. Now, the third edition of that event has allowed Ibai to break his own record. On top of his massive Twitch viewership, Ibai’s event was hosted in an arena filled with thousands of fans. He went over his previous peak viewership record with 3.4 million viewers, with the next closest livestream being Grefg’s stream where he revealed his Fortnite skin to 2.4 million live viewers. While that number is impressive, Ibai has Grefg beaten by almost a million viewers. This Twitch streaming giant has not only put on events like these but has also co-founded the esports organization KOI. KOI is a team that competes in some of the biggest esports in the world like League of Legends.

  • Ibai reaches 10 million Twitch followers as Spanish streamers dominate site – Dexerto

Ibai reaches 10 million Twitch followers as Spanish streamers dominate site YouTube: IbaiSpanish Twitch star Ibai has reached a jaw-dropping 10 million followers on the streaming platform as other Spanish-speaking stars continue to rise to the top. Although Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins has long been hailed as the king of Twitch, his title might be in jeopardy. Spanish-speaking streamers Auronplay and Rubius are hot on his heels, turning the long-standing tides on the platform in a huge way. This trend isn’t a new one; last year, it was noted that Spanish streamers Ibai and auronplay were also making huge waves on the site, with Ibai gaining a huge 754,177 follower increase in September 2021, alone. Now he’s making even bigger waves, as the streamer just celebrated reaching a massive follower milestone. Ibai celebrates 10 million follower Twitch milestone On April 28, 2022, Ibai announced via Twitter that he’d reached a whopping 10 million followers. “10 MILLION ON TWITCH!” Ibai wrote, commemorating the monumental occasion. “There are only six other channels in Twitch history with this figure. What f**king nonsense is this. I LOVE YOU. LITTLE KISSES.” 10 MILLONES EN TWITCH ❤️❤️❤️❤️ Solo hay otros seis canales en la historia de Twitch con esta cifra. Qué jodida barbaridad es esto. OS QUIERO. BESITOS. pic.twitter.com/wm39GIEHrl — Ibai (@IbaiLlanos) April 28, 2022 Ibai is currently the seventh most-followed broadcaster on Twitch, rubbing shoulders with the likes of FPS legend shroud and Overwatch star xQc (who recently broke a major viewership record, himself). Ibai’s 10 million follower personal record follows some of his huge accomplishments on the site — who could forget his bombastic, fireworks-filled New Year’s stream with TV host Ramón García or his viral boxing match that accrued over 1.5 million views. Ibai’s recent follower milestone comes hot on the heels of achievements from his fellow Spanish streamers Auronplay and Rubius, who boast 12 million and 11.7 million followers, respectively. With Ibai being the latest addition to the millionaires club, it seems as though Spanish-speaking streams are just on the cusp of a potentially major breakthrough on Twitch as they continue to dominate the global streaming platform.

  • Ibai is hosting his own original Master Chef show on Twitch – Dexerto

Ibai is hosting his own original Master Chef show on Twitch Twitter/IbaiPopular Twitch streamer Ibai Llanos Garatea has announced his own original Master Chef show to stream on his channel amid the rise of the platform’s TV show meta. Master Chef has taken Twitch by storm with many big-name streamers such as xQc reacting to the Gordon Ramsay show to the tune of thousands of viewers at any given time. While watching other shows have landed streamers in hot water, like when Imane ‘Pokimane’ Anys watched Avatar: The Last Airbender and received a ban as a result, Master Chef has remained safe – for the time being. Now, however, Ibai is stepping in to produce his very own Master Chef stream and it looks absolutely bonkers. 4 episodios, 6 parejas de streamers en cada programa compitiendo por ver quién cocina mejor y tan solo un ganador. The show will feature four episodes with six streaming couples competing to see who cooks best. According to reports, each episode will be a “battle royale” style with the chefs cooking plate-by-plate and being eliminated until only one remains to advance to join three others in the Grand Final. Each plate will apparently be judged by “renowned chefs” who will be in charge of deciding the best and worst dishes The first episode kicks off February 1 in what should be one of the most interesting Twitch projects we’ve seen yet.

  • Ibai leapfrogs xQc into Twitch top 5 followed streamers with historic boxing event – Dexerto

Ibai leapfrogs xQc into Twitch top 5 followed streamers with historic boxing event Twitch: Ibai LlanosSpanish streaming star Ibai has jumped into the top five most-followed broadcasters on Twitch after his record-breaking boxing event. Ibai’s La Velada Del Año II boxing event was record-breaking. The Spanish streaming star absolutely smashed Twitch’s live concurrent viewer records, surpassing 3.3M viewers during the June 25 broadcast. Furthermore, the event brought a wave of new fans for Garatea, as the 27-year-old gained a spectacular amount of followers that boosted the Spanish broadcaster into the prestige list of the top five most-followed streamers on the platform. Ibai breaks into top five most-followed streamers list In May of 2021, Ibai held his first boxing event, featuring some of the biggest Spanish creators going head to head in the ring. His first rendition of the boxing event was widely successful – with Ibai peaking at 1.5M viewers during it. With such wild numbers, it’s no surprise that the streaming star went at it again with a follow-up event, which was somehow even bigger than the last. Besides breaking viewership records, during the broadcast on June 25, Ibai amassed over 400,000 new followers on Twitch. The influx of new fans even pushed the Spanish star into the top five most-followed creators on the Amazon-owned platform. Now sitting at over 11M followers, Ibai has now surpassed even the likes of xQc, and just sits closely behind Fortnite star Tfue. With such a record-breaking event and a clear demand for more influencer boxing, it wouldn’t be surprising if we see Ibai eyeing up another in the future.

  • Ibai gains insane amount of Twitch subs after record-breaking boxing stream – Dexerto

Ibai gains insane amount of Twitch subs after record-breaking boxing stream After his record-breaking boxing event on June 26, Twitch streamer Ibai Llanos Garatea revealed the stream’s official stats including an insane number of subscribers. Twitch offers a number of ways for viewers to support their favorite streamers, with one of the most popular avenues being paid subscriptions. For as little as $4.99 a month – or $0 Twitch Prime members – you can become a channel subscriber. This allows you to chat when a stream is in subscriber mode, gain access to their emotes, and get a badge by your name to show you’re a subscriber. And after the split, the streamer gets roughly 50% of the transaction. When streamers hold massive events (i.e. tournaments or subathons) they can expect an influx of subscribers. However, no one could have predicted the insane number of subscribers Ibai would receive during his record-breaking boxing stream. Ibai shows insane subscriber gains On June 25, Ibai’s stream wouldn’t feature the Spanish streamer behind his normal setup. Instead, he would be casting the La Velada Del Año II boxing event with unmatched production value garnering 3.35 million concurrent viewers and smashing the previous Twitch record of 2.5 million. A large number of these viewers would become followers launching Ibai into the position of the fifth most-followed creator on Twitch. But another accolade is just as impressive: the number of new subscribers. During his stream on June 26, Ibai revealed the stats summary for his June 25 stream. In the new subscriber section, it showed he had gained 45,172 subscribers during the boxing event. Not taking into account the number of Tier 2 and 3 subscribers, Ibai generated over $110k in sub revenue in a single stream. According to Twitch Tracker, Ibai currently has the most active subs on the platform with a total of 119,468. This still only puts him in 6th place for All-Time Peak Active Subs, but it’s a noteworthy achievement nonetheless. With the viewer record broken and Ibai breaking into the top 5 followed channels, it leaves the question of who or what will dethrone this monumental event.

  • Ibai confirms xQc vs Rubius boxing match not happening yet despite agreement – Dexerto

Ibai confirms xQc vs Rubius boxing match not happening yet despite agreement YouTube: Ibai/Twitch: xQc, RubiusTwitch star Ibai Llanos has confirmed that a boxing match between xQc and Rubius will not happen despite the two agreeing last year. In June 2022, Spanish Twitch star Ruben ‘El Rubius’ Gunderson challenged xQc to a boxing match during Ibai’s La Velada Del Ano II creator boxing event. In the simple call out, Rubius said: “X, I’m waiting for you…come.” xQc was quick to lay out conditions for the match, stating that it must take place sometime in 2023. According to recent comments from Twitch star Ibai Llanos, however, it appears the fight’s not happening during this year’s event. Ibai confirms xQc vs Rubius boxing match isn’t happening During Ibai’s stream on February 16, a viewer asked him about the possibility of a boxing match between El Rubius and xQc. “There are many people who think that XQc is going to come to the event, that it will be a Rubius vs. xQc,” he said. “But on February 26, one day before the presentation, you will see him playing Elden Ring live from Canada. That’s when you’ll realize he’s not coming to the event.” Ibai’s annual boxing event, La Velada Del Ano 3, is set to happen on February 27, 2023, and being that he’s the person that created the event — it’s safe to say his word can be taken seriously. Not to mention, we’ve yet to hear anything further from either xQc or Rubius about the potential of a boxing match in the near future. It’s not the say that it won’t ever happen, though, as we’re only two months into 2023. We’ll be sure to update you if they mention anything in the future. Ibai ‘disappointed’ as Amouranth pulls out of boxing event last minute without warning Amouranth / Twitch: IbaiTwitch superstar Ibai said he was blindsided by Amouranth’s announcement that she was pulling out of his boxing event at the last minute, with the bout scheduled to take place on July 1. Ibai’s event, La Velada del Año 3, is set to feature a number of streaming stars going head-to-head in the ring, with Amouranth among them. She was due to face Spanish streaming sensation Maite ‘Mayichi’ Carrillo. However, on June 26, Amouranth announced on Twitter that she was pulling out of the event, citing health concerns stemming from “late-stage ovarian failure.” Ibai was surprised by Amouranth’s announcement Despite running the event, Ibai explained on stream that he had not been made aware of Amouranth’s decision until seeing her Twitter post. “The thing that surprised me the most is that we spoke with Amouranth’s manager last night, about flights and hotels being paid. She said OK to everything,” he said on stream. “So that’s why I told you this afternoon that Amouranth was coming to Spain, because flight check-ins were already done and she was flying today. So that’s why I confirmed to you guys that she was coming to Spain – this is not some marketing strategy.” Ibai asked his viewers not to be toxic towards Amouranth, and wished her the best with her recovery. However, he also expressed disappointment that he had not been told sooner and given the chance to organize a substitute fighter. Also, Ibai was frustrated that no one told him or Kosmos (the event agency) prior to Amouranth’s Twitter announcement. Mayichi, who Amouranth was due to fight, simply tweeted “No puede ser…”, meaning “There’s no way…”.

Ibai banned from Twitch for fourth time after another stream slip-up Twitch: IbaiSpanish Twitch star Ibai has been suspended from Twitch for the fourth time. He has even interacted with world-famous footballers, including Lionel Messi, Sergio Aguero and Andres Iniesta on his stream this year. But, on September 28, his channel was suspended. Although Ibai is yet to address the ban, it is suspected it is due to accidentally showing sexual imagery on his stream while browsing Twitter. ❌ Twitch Partner “”ibai”” (@IbaiLlanos) has been banned! ❌https://t.co/LV5hjnNjyK#twitch #ban #fourthban #partner #twitchpartner ❣ — StreamerBans (@StreamerBans) September 28, 2021 This is Ibai’s fourth ban in the past two years, with his longest lasting 3 days. Repeat bans will often cause increasingly lengthy suspensions, but Twitch says context is always considered in each case. His previous ban, on June 16, was also caused by a nudity slip up, after a guest on a stream revealed themselves. The length of Ibai’s latest ban has not been confirmed, but Twitch issues suspensions typically lasting from 24 hours to one week for similar infringements. • Ibai claims Twitch capped his viewer count for viral boxing event: “They robbed me” – Dexerto

Ibai claims Twitch capped his viewer count for viral boxing event: “They robbed me” Twitch: IbaiSpanish streaming star Ibai Llanos claims that Twitch capped his viewer count during his viral boxing event, La Velada del Año 3. Ibai Llanos has once again made Twitch history thanks to his viral influencer-boxing event, La Velada del Año 3, which broadcasted over the weekend of July 1, 2023. Llanos’s highly-anticipated combat sports showdown broke Twitch’s viewership record, weighing in at over 3.4 million viewers at the stream’s peak. However, Ibai claims this number could have been even higher. According to the streamer — who is the third most-followed broadcaster on the platform — Twitch allegedly capped his viewership count during the wildly popular event. Ibai claimed Twitch “robbed” him of viewer count during boxing event Ibai spoke out about the subject during a live stream on July 2, claiming his stream reached its 3.4 million viewership mark several times… but it never extended beyond that amount. “The amount of engineers, viewership experts — including my editor, who knows a lot about this — who talked to me said that [Twitch robbed] me,” he said. “They explained to me all the details of how viewership works and how Twitch blocks the amount of [views a stream can get]. You can see how the Twitch tracker goes up and then down, and then up again. I have a lot of theories from people that study these viewership things, and how Twitch robbed my views.” Many fans are speculating that Llanos did have more than 3.4 million viewers during his boxing event, but say that Twitch’s stats tracker might have bugged out due to the large number of people tuning into the stream. Llanos’s latest record-breaking stream follows in the footsteps of his previous boxing event, which also set a record on Twitch back in June 2022, garnering 3.35 million viewers at its peak. Although Llanos may have broken his own record and set a new standard for influencer-boxing events, it’s unclear if his issues with viewership count on the site will be addressed. Amid the mass exodus of Livers from Nijisanji, the agency announced they were terminating Selen Tatsuki’s contract after “repeated breaches”. However, the termination was quickly followed by Selen’s respond. In which she alleges a “toxic” work environment and bullying from management was created by management. The outpouring of support for Selen, who now goes by her alt account Dokibird, resulted in her hitting 250,000 subscribers in just a day after her termination. And in light of the allegations, HYTE, a sister brand of iBUYPOWER, has cut ties with AnyColor, owners of Nijisanji, amid the situation. “In light of the recent developments regarding AnyColor (aka Nijisanji), HYTE has made the decision to terminate our current project with the VTuber group,” they wrote in their statement. The project, a collaboration with Nijisanji EN talents Rosemi Lovelock, Enna Alouette, and Elira Pendora to create a series of PC cases and keycaps, will be canceled. HYTE’s Nijisanji planned collaboration wasn’t their first VTuber project, as the company has worked with Hololive to create PC case bundles of their EN talents. With Mori Calliope, Watson Amelia, Ouro Kronii and Hakos Baelz getting their own bundles. This all comes as Nijisanji is experiencing a talent exodus, as over the past year many talents announced their graduation from the agency. Hyundai and Kia are updating their cars in response to TikTok theft challenge Unsplash.com: SCREEN POSTCar manufacturers Hyundai and Kia are updating their vehicles in response to a popular TikTok challenge that sparked a wave of car thefts after a hotwiring method went viral online. Readers may be familiar with the “Kia challenge” after the trend took TikTok by storm in 2022. The so-called “Kia challenge” was actually just a method for hotwiring certain models of Kia — and Hyundai — vehicles manufactured up until 2021 by connecting a USB cable with a naked ignition switch to start the cars. The first video responsible for kickstarting the trend (pun intended) was uploaded in July by TikTok user @robbierayyy. The resulting aftermath saw the theft of multiple Kia and Hyundai cars that year. According to reports from CNBC, the Kia Challenge was connected to an 85% increase in auto thefts for Kia and Hyundai vehicles in the Los Angeles area in 2022 as compared to 2021. Many Kia and Hyundai owners took to social media to tell their stories after their cars were stolen, and even sued the vehicle manufacturers as thefts continued to rise. Now, come early 2023, both Kia and Hyundai are reportedly making big updates to their cars as a direct result of the viral “Kia challenge” of 2022. Kia and Hyundai introduce security upgrade to cars following “Kia challenge” TikTok thefts The companies are offering these updates free of charge to owners following the rash of thefts last year. According to a statement from Hyundai, the update will consist of a software update that “modifies certain vehicle control modules on Hyundai vehicles equipped with standard ‘turn-key-to-start’ ignition systems.” “As a result, locking the doors with the key fob will set the factory alarm and activate an ‘ignition kill’ feature so the vehicles cannot be started when subjected to the popularized theft mode. Customers must use the key fob to unlock their vehicles to deactivate the ‘ignition kill’ feature,” the statement continues. As told by Hyundai, this update will be available for four million vehicles starting February 14 and will be available for any remaining vehicles through June 2023. This upgrade will be performed by Hyundai dealers and, according to the company, will allegedly take less than one hour to install. After the upgrade is complete, vehicles will receive window decals to dissuade “would-be thieves” about the car’s “enhanced anti-theft technology.” The Kia challenge was not only illegal, but dangerous; in October 2022, four teenagers passed away after crashing a Kia vehicle they’d stolen reportedly using the “Kia challenge” method.

  • Hyphonix receives another ban from Twitch – Dexerto

Hyphonix receives another ban from Twitch Twitter/Hyphonix/TwitchPopular streamer Hyphonix has been banned by Twitch once again and he isn’t quite sure as to why it has come about. Hyphonix, an IRL [in real life] streamer, was indefinitely banned from Twitch in late March of 2018, and made the switch over to streaming on YouTube. Despite fans calls to have him back on his original streaming platform, he remained on the video sharing platform for almost a year before being unbanned. The popular broadcaster, who can usually be found streaming plenty of daily antics or playing games like Runescape, returned in early March of 2019 to plenty of excitement from his viewers. However, it appears as if he has felt the full force of the Twitch ban hammer once again. 600In the early hours of the morning on September 3, Hyphonix tweeted out that he had been banned from Twitch and was unsure as to why this had been the case. “Banned, Don’t Know Why, Don’t Know How Long, Will Keep Everyone Posted,” he said, leaving fans asking the same questions that he didn’t have the answers to. Of course, there is no way for them to check for an explanation as his channel has been taken down, and so too have the VODs and clips. Banned, Don’t Know Why, Don’t Know How Long, Will Keep Everyone Posted.. — Hyphonix (@RealHyphonixYT) September 3, 2019 While Twitch does not usually comment publicly on the specific reason why a streamer has been banned, they do reveal the reason to the broadcaster. When he made his return in March, it didn’t take long for Hyphonix to be suspended again either, but he explained that it was “must have been a mistake,” as the reason related to evading a suspension. It remains to be seen why he has been struck with a ban by Twitch this time around, but considering he usually keeps fans in the loop, it won’t be long before Hyphonix is able to update everyone on the situation in the near future.

  • Hyphonix says Twitch banned him again despite not streaming for two months – Dexerto

Hyphonix says Twitch banned him again despite not streaming for two months Instagram/official_hyphonixYouTube streamer Hyphonix is blasting Twitch for allegedly banning his account on the platform, despite not even streaming for two months straight. Hyphonix used to be a very popular Twitch streamer, but an assortment of bans resulted in him leaving the platform to YouTube where he grew a large subscriber base. After being banned from 2019 to 2021, the streamer was finally unbanned from the site and he hasn’t been in trouble since. On January 25, the Florida-based streamer revealed that his Twitch channel had once again been banned and there was no indication as to why. I streamed on twitch two time since my unbanning, have not streamed in 2 months there, got banned today with no email at all? What’s going on lol..? — Hyphonix (@RealHyphonixYT) January 26, 2022 Hyphonix randomly banned on Twitch? In a post on Twitter, Hyphonix took aim at Twitch stating: “I streamed on Twitch two times since my unbanning, have not streamed in 2 months there, got banned today with no email at all?” The fact that he received no email from Twitch is certainly weird, as most times the Amazon-owned site will in fact send streamers informing them about their ban, albeit with limited info as to why. After tagging Twitch support asking for assistance, it seems like his account had been restored as Dexerto was able to access it. When Twitch accounts are banned or suspended, the channels cannot be displayed, so it seems like the site may have banned Hyphonix in error or he made a mistake. In any case, this was certainly a bizarre situation and yet another ban tally for the infamous Twitch streamer who has since switched platforms. 2022 has been a weird year for Twitch so far. Earlier, a streamer was indefinitely banned for saying they wanted to “destroy heterosexuals” at Mario Kart and the site later reversed the decision. Additionally, another streamer was hit with a ban over emotes – something rarely ever seen on the platform. We’ll have to see what happens as the year rolls on, but so far, it seems like no one is safe from Twitch bans, even those who don’t broadcast for two months straight.

  • Hyphonix allegedly scammed by friend after winning $4,000 of Runescape gold on stream – Dexerto

Hyphonix allegedly scammed by friend after winning $4,000 of Runescape gold on stream Instagram: Hyphonix / JagexTwitch streamer Hyphonix has apparently been scammed on Old School Runescape by a friend while broadcasting, losing around $4000 worth of gold in the process. Old School Runescape is one of the most popular games on Twitch, with streamers like Hyphonix grinding their way through the classic game, hoping to earn gold that they can use to purchase in-game items. After using the account of a friend, who is also a moderator in his chat, Hyphonix lost out on five billion gold when he was logged out of the account and unable to get back in. Hyphonix had been using the account of his moderator for staking, and according to regular viewers of the stream had been doing so for some time. Staking sees players go out and clash with others head-to-head, with the winner securing the grand prize, which is often gold. The streamer had been on an incredible run, winning around 12 of his 15 attempts according to commenters who had been watching his stream, when he was suddenly logged out of the account. Many, including the streamer, believed that his friend had logged him out, changed the password and kept the billions of gold for himself. “Don’t do this to me,” pleaded Hyphonix as he tried to get back into the game. “Come on, please. Is this real? Don’t do this to me. Please tell me you’re fucking with me. You’re fucking with me, right?” The Twitch broadcaster had amassed around five billion gold on the account from staking, which is worth between $3,500 and $4,000 – a huge amount to lose. Hyphonix was clearly upset by the situation, ending his stream minutes later after continued attempts to log back into the account. Old School Runescape Community Manager JagexAcorn confirmed that the account had been banned for real-world trading, which means the account was suspected to be selling the gold for money, which is against the game’s rules. Many still believe that the account owner logged Hyphonix out, and attempted to sell the gold for money but got banned before they were able to do so, and the news that account was banned for real-world trading appears to back up the theory. The player claims that this is not the case, saying that he didn’t log into the account. Hyphonix has refrained from commenting on the situation since the conclusion of his stream, but we’ll be sure to update this post as new information becomes available.

HyperX Queued Up sets streamers on their way to stardom HyperX The first yearly edition of HyperX’s ‘Queued Up’ has identified the five streamers fans chose to be up next, with aspirations of becoming the next big streaming stars. Queued Up is set to return in 2022, becoming a yearly tradition. Queued Up is now wrapped up – for this year at least. HyperX’s annual competition is reminiscent of the popular ‘freshman’ concept from XXL Magazine, where the most exciting new artists are picked each year. The world of streaming and content creation is just as competitive as the music industry, with millions of people hopeful that they too could make a living from streaming. The reality is that only a very small percentage will make it, but HyperX’s Queued Up could prove to be the perfect opportunity for those up-and-coming creators to get the spotlight they deserve. The class of 2021 comprises a diverse group of creators. Their follower counts range from 50,000 to almost 500,000, and their content covers a wide base of what viewers enjoy from streamers, from Apex Legends to Dead by Daylight, and from music to cosplay. Read More: Queued Up Class of 2021: Meet the winners – Announcing the winners was done via livestream, with the event hosted in Las Vegas. Streamed on HyperX’s official Twitch channel, the broadcast peaked at over 8,000 viewers – a massive start for the first-ever year of Queued Up. Most importantly though, is the future of the streamers themselves – Yoojin, tuonto, Cahlaflour, Krystalogy, and Loughh. It remains to be seen how the next steps in their careers unfold, but they certainly have all the potential in the world to match their aspirations. One of the best moments was highlighted by HyperX on Twitter – showing that just a year ago, tuonto had been hopeful of landing a sponsorship. Almost exactly a year @Tuont0 was talking to our bot about sponsorship. A year later we selected him as a top rising creator in the gaming community. To all you our there grinding. Stay focused and keep having fun. We look forward to working with you. — HyperX (@HyperX) November 5, 2021 He is now a HyperX ambassador, along with the other four winners. On top of this, all five received a six-month paid contract with HyperX, and a total gaming setup revamp. When Queued Up returns for the 2022 edition, it will be interesting to look back on the past 12 months for the class of 2021, and see how many new faces make the cut for next year. • Hype House’s Larray’s diss track becomes viral TikTok trend – Dexerto

Hype House’s Larray’s diss track becomes viral TikTok trend Instagram: larrayTikToker Lawrence Merrit, who is more commonly known as Larray, has become very popular on the video-sharing platform after his latest track became the basis for a new viral TikTok trend. Last month, Larray made shockwaves in the influencer community when he released his new single ‘Cancelled’. Debuting at 81 on the Billboard Hot 100, the song called out the likes of Bryce Hall, Shane Dawson and James Charles, referencing their various controversies and slip-ups in the past. While the track has continued to grow in popularity – with the music video amassing over 38 million views on YouTube – it hasn’t come without a few controversies of its own. Most recently, Larray was called out for “normalizing child grooming” after he mentioned the Tony Lopez scandal in his song with the line, “Tony Lopez caught a case.” However, with what some might call a natural progression given his own career as part of the Hype House, Larray’s track has now formed part of one of the latest TikTok trends. Users all over the platform are utilizing the line, “I thought a b*tch who lost the baddest b*tch said something,” in order to throw shade at their ex-partner. The trend involves users showing a picture of their ex followed by a series of their own selfies – all in order to stick it to their former boyfriend or girlfriend for breaking up with them. https://www.tiktok.com/@6ftanduppls/video/6891278145593429254 However, what started as a fairly straightforward TikTok trend soon, as always, descended into chaos, with people even applying it to anime characters, Oompas Loompas, and more. Larray’s BFF Charli D’Amelio also got involved with the trend, as she jokingly used it to shade sister and fellow TikTok star Dixie for moving out and leaving her “lonely”. However, When Larray returned to TikTok after a week away from the app, he didn’t seem very amused by everything that had been going on during his hiatus. Taking to TikTok to share his frustrations (naturally), he shook his head in exasperation while sipping on an iced coffee with the now-infamous line from his song playing in the background. He captioned the video: “I leave TikTok for one week and ya’ll make the messiest trend with my song? Motherf*****s couldn’t just make a dance?” Sorry, Larray – the tea is just too good!

  • HyperX Queued Up Class of 2021: Meet the winners – Dexerto

HyperX Queued Up Class of 2021: Meet the winners HyperX HyperX’s Queued Up class of 2021 has been selected by you, the audience, who have picked five streamers you believe have a shot at becoming the next great content creators. We caught up with three of the winners, Krystalogy, Tuonto, and Cahlaflour, to learn more about the goals and inspirations. The first yearly edition of Queued Up saw 20 up-and-coming streamers nominated, all worthy of being picked out for their innovation, entertaining content and potential to grow. But, ultimately, it came down to the final five, when all votes were tallied. We wanted to know what the winners are looking forward to know, their hopes for the future, and who inspires them. You can check out all the winners here, which also includes Loughh and Yoojin. Creators Krystalogy Krystalogy is a Twitch partner with almost 80,000 followers. Her streams consist of a wide variety of games, as well as just getting to know her audience. Being a content creator is a dream job for many, and with so much competition, it takes a lot to stand out from the crowd. How do you make sure your content stands out? Krystalogy: “I believe that there is only one of each person, everyone being different from the rest. So to stand out from everyone else, I just try to be unapologetically me. Make dumb jokes, give my insights and personal opinions and engage with my community so we all can have fun!” Where do you see yourself in 5 years? What are some of your goals? “I hope to be trying new things, content creation is so fun but I want to expand out from that with my own company as well. I have a few ideas on what that will be, I just always want to continue to diversify my earnings.” What content creators do you take inspiration from? “The two main content creators I take inspiration from are Valkyrae and Lirik. Valkyrae is a boss and seeing her move through the gaming space and try new things has been an insightful journey to watch! Lirik is a variety streamer who plays all sorts of things and still maintains his community. Building a community based on variety is hard but he shows that it can be done.” Tuonto Tuonto is an established content creator, with over 400,000 followers on Twitch and over 700,000 YouTube subs. As well as his gaming content, Tuonto might surprise you with his stellar signing abilities, you can also check out below. Being a content creator is a dream job for many, and with so much competition, it takes a lot to stand out from the crowd. How do you make sure your content stands out? Tuonto: “I make sure that I am constantly trying new things. Recently I uploaded a full cover of “Fly Me to the Moon”. I don’t normally post music on my YouTube channel, but I decided to try it, and thankfully the viewers seemed to enjoy it so I have another new passion to chase! And lastly, I make sure I’m giving my all into everything I do. I do a lot of research and watch a lot of podcasts regarding the content creation industry and love learning about marketing and advertisement. If I’m playing, I’m going to do my best to win.” Where do you see yourself in 5 years? What are some of your goals? “In 5 years, I hope to have achieved my dream of being a full variety content creator. Along with that I have other passions I want to try to chase such as singing, and voice acting. I’ve also always loved clothes as well, so perhaps having my own clothing brand would be amazing! Obviously, I have a long way to go, but that doesn’t mean I should be afraid. I’m very excited for the future! I’ll be doing my best to make those around me happy and support the ones I love.” What content creators do you take inspiration from? “There are many content creators I’ve grown up watching that have heavily influenced me whether it be educational or just pure inspiration. I will do my best to list all that I remember right now! Pewdiepie, KSI, Devin Nash, Harris Heller, Ludwig, Pokimane, Ninja, ShahZaM, Kyedae, 39daph, DisguisedToast, Scarra, MrBeast, Ryan Higa.” Cahlaflour Cahlaflour has just hit the 100,000 follower mark on her Twitch channel, where she streams everything from Animal Crossing, to Dead by Daylight, and Apex Legends. As a variety streamer, you can catch her on many games, but horror is her favorite. This also crosses over into her passion for cosplay. Being a content creator is a dream job for many, and with so much competition, it takes a lot to stand out from the crowd. How do you make sure your content stands out? Cahlaflour: “Over the years content creation has gotten more and more competitive as tons of creators join the space and try to make it. I wanted to share my love for the horror genre back when I started seven years ago and that’s how I continue to stand out. I bring my community all the horror content I can get my hands on, but I’ve had to start increasing my creativity over recent years. I started redoing my stream background into different sets for the holidays. During October I make a whole spooky-themed room filled with flickering lights, candles, spiderwebs, skulls, creepy dolls, you name it. In December I turn my stream background into a winter wonderland with snow on the ground, a giant Christmas tree, gifts and other cute holiday items. I started doing this years ago and keep trying to improve on it each year. They have become big attractions for my channel and draw in a lot of new people. “I also really love doing cosplay. I bring out new cosplays throughout the year and try to pair them with game launches when I can. Between the spooky content, themed stream sets and cosplay I think my content brings a lot of fun and exciting new things to the table. (Plus – how many people do you know with fiery orange hair?)” Where do you see yourself in 5 years? What are some of your goals? “In 5 years, I plan on continuing full time streaming and growing my brand. Specifically, I’d like to see my channel become much more variety-focused because there is so much more out there than just having one main game. I think that’s a lot of streamers’ dreams; play what you want and share it with a community that’s up for anything. “Ideally, I’d also like to work closer with gaming companies and other brands that want to get into the industry. One of my favorite parts of streaming is working with companies to make fantastic new content together. I always wanted to work within the gaming world and streaming has allowed me to work with some big brands – I hope to keep building up that roster. “I would have recently said I wanted to win an award for streaming but with HyperX’s Queued Up I actually did win a physical award, so I get to check that off the bucket list!!! Also, speaking of bucket lists, I really really want to be in a video game in some capacity one day. It could be the smallest thing like my name in the credits or one of my emotes somewhere. I’ve just always thought it would be the coolest thing in the world to be immortalized in a video game.” What content creators do you take inspiration from? “The first content creator I ever took inspiration from was DansGaming (he’s the entire reason I became a streamer). The story goes, my coworker back when I was working at GameStop pulled up DansGaming on our work tablet and showed me what streaming was (I’d never heard of it before). He said he thought I’d be great at it. Shortly after, I booted up my first stream and fell in love with the community side of things. Dan has always done a horror month and I started doing something similar with my own spin on it called “Cahlaween.” “Another creator I look up to greatly is Cohh Carnage. He’s basically the biggest variety streamer I can think of. Such a wholesome, professional guy that can stream anything with his community and they’re happy to be along for the ride. Plus, his production value is absolutely insane. His stream screens are mind-blowing. I used to watch him a lot of weekend mornings with my friends. He was basically our Saturday morning cartoons. “Lastly, another big variety streamer that I look up to is Admiral Bahroo. That man is a genius when it comes to emote marketing for his channel. I’ve drawn a lot of inspiration from the things he’s been able to do over the years and hope my emotes are even half as cute as his pandas.” HyperX Queued Up is set to return in 2022, so if you’re hopeful of being part of the next batch of up-and-coming streamers, it might be time to start grinding now.

  • Hype House to star in “The Hype Life” reality show about TikTok group – Dexerto

Hype House to star in “The Hype Life” reality show about TikTok group Instagram: thehypehouselaThe Hype House is going to become more than just the center of TikTok. The mega-popular group, who has over 150 million followers combined, are set to star in a new reality show titled “The Hype Life” detailing the inner workings of the house. The Hype House is arguably TikTok’s biggest collective. With over 150 million followers combined, and a reputation to match the numbers, they are some of the most popular content creators on the internet. While fans love to know what’s going on in every facet of their lives, sometimes it can get a bit too personal. It’s not just an issue the Hype House has to face, but all other TikTok collectives too. However, fans of the Hype House in particular will now be treated to a behind-the-scenes, access-all-areas look behind the inner workings of the group. The house has penned a deal with Wheelhouse Entertainment to produce a reality show titled “The Hype Life”. According to a report by Deadline, the Hype Life docuseries will feature names like Chase Hudson and Thomas Petrou. It’ll give fans a chance to see how the Hype House lives behind closed doors as they spend every day together. It’ll be a look “far beyond what [fans] see on social media,” from in-house drama, to how collaborations come to light on a daily basis. The Hype House isn’t the only TikTok group getting some mainstream fame. Charli and Dixie D’Amelio have also hinted at filming their own reality show, delving deep into their “family dynamic.” “We definitely hope so, and there are some things in the works. I’m just excited for people to see more of our family dynamic — that’s really what makes us who we are. We are super close as a family, so that’s something that I’d love to bring more light to and just have fun with it,” Charli told Cosmopolitan back in July. There are no details about when the series will start filming, or when fans will be able to get their first glimpse of the Hype Life. However, we will update you once there’s more information out there.

  • Hype House under fire for “scamming” fans with “free” merch – Dexerto

Hype House under fire for “scamming” fans with “free” merch Instagram: Thomas PetrouTikTok’s Hype House is facing backlash after fans discovered that the “free” branded silver chains they were selling had a pretty big catch. The Hype House is a creator collective in Los Angeles and home to TikTok’s biggest celebrities including Chase ‘Lil Huddy’ Hudson, the Lopez Brothers, Addison Rae, and Noah Beck. 22-year-old Thomas Petrou is the house manager and responsible for the merchandise and marketing. The “Hype Chains” dropped on Tuesday, August 11, and were being promoted Hype House members including Tayler Holder. The drop was announced by house manager, and man in charge of merchandise and marketing, Thomas Petrou, on Instagram. In the post, he simply said that while the chains are free, fans need only pay shipping. Even Harry Jowsey from Netflix’s “Too Hot to Handle” appeared on the official Hype House Instagram page telling followers to buy the chains. https://twitter.com/defnoodles/status/1293346948368330753?s=20 The website says that the 20-inch rope chains are worth $100, are silver-plated, and have VVS simulate diamonds. The Hype House is selling them for “free,” which sounds like a bargain, but within hours fans noticed that the shipping and handling fee was $19.58 for mailing anywhere within the United States. Commentary YouTuber DefNoodles pointed out in a tweet that USPS should typically charge around $3.80 for a package of similar weight, and one-day shipping should cost around $7.75. In addition, the website only allows customers to purchase one chain at a time. The small print says “If you want multiple FREE chains, make multiple orders.” The creator community, however, is no stranger to merchandise and shipping scandals. In suspiciously similar circumstances, last year Jake Paul also promoted a “free” Team 10 branded chain where the website listed the value as $100, and also limited purchases to one per order. The shipping and handling costs per order turned out to be $14.83. At the end of 2018 Tana Mongeau and Gabbie Hanna were caught up in a scandal around Kenza Cosmetics after they promoted make-up brushes which were being sold for “free”, and “all you have to do is pay the shipping.” Sound familiar? The brushes turned out to be worth less than $5, and customers influenced by the YouTubers felt they had been scammed. It looks as though the Hype House is treading on familiar territory, but they have yet to issue a statement on the matter.

Chase Hudson, Nikita Dragun & more star in first Hype House Netflix trailer YouTube: NetflixThe first trailer for the long-anticipated Hype House reality show on Netflix has been released, starring popular TikTokers such as Chase Hudson, Nikita Dragun, Vinnie Hacker, and more. The Hype House is one of the biggest content collectives on TikTok, making a name for themselves thanks to their huge host of popular influencers. In April 2021, Netflix announced that they were going to be releasing a reality show all about the lives of Hype House influencers, showing a side of them that viewers “rarely get to see.” The announcement was met with a wave of backlash online, with some even threatening to cancel their subscriptions to the streaming service over the show. Hype House Netflix show release date After months of being teased, the show was eventually given an air date of January 7, 2022, and fans were treated to the official trailer for the show when it was released on December 25. Hype House Netflix show trailer The two-minute-long trailer shows some of the house’s most popular influencers, like Alex Warren, Vinnie Hacker, Chase Hudson a.k.a. Lil Huddy, Nikita Dragun, and more talking to the camera about what the Hype House is, and teasing what’s to come in the show. While it looks like there are going to be plenty of laughs in the show, the trailer also hinted at some drama among the group, regarding business as well as personal relationships. Although some fans are excited to finally get to watch the show, the comments under the trailer on YouTube from viewers were less than positive. “This is proof that not all Netflix shows are great. Whoever came up with this idea must be insane,” one comment with over 2000 likes read. With the show releasing on January 7, it’s not long before people will be able to finally give their verdict on the project.

Thomas Petrou already shared some shots of the new crib, but on December 26 the official Hype House account put out a TikTok giving us our best look at the pad, and it’s ridiculous backyard view, yet. Starting with a clip of the old FaZe Clan house, among others, in the Hollywood Hills, it then pans to the new mansion, first showing the front, then panning across the backyard — which is complete with a pool and stunning view of the valley below. It’s nothing close to an official house tour, but we would bet that an MTV Cribs-style reveal will be coming soon, possibly after everyone gets moved in and somewhat settled. In his story, Petrou and Alex Warren were simply scoping out the place, with Thomas proudly pointing at the mansion and announcing that he bought it along with Warren and Kouvr Annon. Now that we’ve had more of a look at the place, we do have to wonder how much money they had to shell out. https://twitter.com/defnoodles/status/1340370857646931968?s=20 Given the amount of attention, the TikTokers were getting at the old FaZe spot, them moving to a new location isn’t really that big of a surprise — especially after Petrou revealed back in July that the Hype House would sometimes get up to 100 visitors a day. Even though they could definitely be considered celebrities in their own right, members of the Hype House are real people just like you and me (though it can be easy to forget that sometimes), so hopefully the new digs provide plenty of safe space (and content) headed into 2021.

  • Hype House TikTok fuels rumors about Charli & Dixie D’Amelio leaving – Dexerto

Hype House TikTok fuels rumors about Charli & Dixie D’Amelio leaving Instagram: BryantFans of TikTok stars Charli and Dixie D’Amelio have once again been left speculating that the pair have left the Hype House, after they didn’t appear in a bunch of new photos posted online. With TikTok giving content creators the chance to explode in popularity as Vine did back in 2013, a number of young stars have been born out of its success. Though, there is none bigger than Charli D’Amelio. The 16-year-old recently overtook Loren Gray as the most followed user on TikTok and has since surpassed the 50 million follower milestone. She, alongside her sister Dixie, has even linked up with other TikTokkers as a part of the Hype House. However, of the D’Amelio pair have been, once again, speculating that they have actually moved out of the house in favor of somewhere else. The new crop of rumors and speculations came after The Hype House TikTok account posted a few new photos of members enjoying time together, both in and out of the house. That includes people like Addison Rae, Chase Hudson, and Thomas Petrou but the D’Amelio sisters are nowhere to be seen. As a result, fans have bombarded the video’s comments section, tagging both Charli and Dixie in questions about why they didn’t appear – and asking if they have actually moved out for good. https://www.instagram.com/p/B_yPfmrnC4s/ Though, as the pair have been silent about what they’re doing, saying nothing on Twitter, Instagram or TikTok about the situation, it has only led to rampant speculation about their exit. Some fans might think that they’ve cracked the code, suggesting that the sisters didn’t appear in the photos because they were busy or elsewhere. However, the images don’t appear to be from one day or a particular photoshoot. Fans had similar questions for the D’Amelio after realizing that they hadn’t appeared in the Hype House’s Instagram stories for a few weeks back on April 16, but no answers came from that either. It remains to be seen as to whether or not they’ve moved on, but all signs seem to be pointing that way.

  • Hype House members are begging fans to leave them alone – Dexerto

Hype House members are begging fans to leave them alone Instagram: Thomas Petrou[jwplayer A1FBSjyO]Multiple members of TikTok’s Hype House are begging their fans to stop lingering outside their new digs in Los Angeles. Popular TikTok star Nick Austin posted to his Instagram story on Sunday, June 14 asking fans to respect their privacy. He wrote: “Hey everyone, we all love and appreciate all the endless support you all give us, but it would be really amazing if you and your parents could stop coming to our house. “We moved because this was such a problem at our old house. We even had our property broken into multiple times. Please please please don’t show up to our home uninvited.” This comes after some girls and their mom broke into the Hype House’s former mansion and filmed TikToks in the most recognizable rooms. The group tried on members’ clothes and stole items that still belonged to them. Thomas Petrou, one of the founders of the creators’ house, also posted the same statement to his Instagram story and included footage of cars and fans outside of the house with the caption ‘Go home please.’ In a live TikTok, Bryce Hall complained that having fans show up to their house was uncomfortable. He said: “… coming to my house, where I live. It’s kind of excessive, and like every 15 minutes. I can’t go upstairs because I’m afraid of someone seeing me with my pants off.” He also tweeted “RESPECT PEOPLE’S PRIVACY.” In another video, Tony Lopez lamented that: “I am getting super f***ing frustrated with the amount of f***ing people that wait outside my house at 10 in the morning…I don’t want to be on camera I just woke up.” Tony also tweeted: “Don’t come around and use mfs for some views. Go home lol” and “To some fans and people who keep showing up to the hype house. Can you please stop and respect the little bit of privacy we have. Thank you.” Close friend of the Hype House, James Charles, has also experienced fans showing up uninvited. James commented: “Show up again please so I can call the police” on a TikTok where fans drove past his house. It looks like fans won’t be going away any time soon.

  • When is the Hype House Netflix series releasing? Thomas Petrou gives reality show update – Dexerto

When is the Hype House Netflix series releasing? Thomas Petrou gives reality show update Instagram: HypeHousela, NetflixThe Hype House, one of TikTok’s most popular content houses, is coming to Netflix with their very own reality show, which according to member Thomas Petrou could be coming “very soon.” The concept of influencer content houses has been around since before TikTok, but more houses than ever before have sprung up since the platform started skyrocketing in popularity. One such house, and perhaps one of the most well-known, is the Hype House. The group was formed in December 2019, and originally included influencers like Thomas Petrou, Chase Hudson, and even the D’Amelio sisters. Over the past year or so, several members ended up leaving the collective, but it looks like the house definitely isn’t over just yet, as, in April 2021, Netflix announced that they would be releasing a reality show about the group. Kouvr Annon, Nikita Dragun, Sienna Mae Gomez, Chase Hudson, Larri Merritt, Thomas Petrou, Alex Warren, and Jack Wright — a.k.a Hype House — will star in a new unscripted series that will reveal a side of themselves (and their relationships) that we rarely see! pic.twitter.com/NlRF5j0ZoF — Netflix (@netflix) April 22, 2021 However, the announcement was met with an enormous amount of backlash, with some Netflix viewers claiming they would be canceling their subscription as a result. Alex Warren even had to deny rumors that the backlash had tanked the streaming sites’ stock. Hype House reality show release date In a YouTube video uploaded on October 14 titled ‘When is the Hype House Show Coming to Netflix,’ Thomas Petrou gave his viewers some information on the potential release date for the series. “I don’t have a strict release date,” he said. “I know that you guys have been asking for this for a very long time. Trust me, it is going to be coming out very soon, and it is very good from what I’ve heard. I’m so excited for you guys to see it. It’s going to be the start of something very new for the Hype House and for myself.” Topic starts at 3:39 He went on to say that they’re hoping it’ll be coming out in either December or January, but stressed that he “cannot confirm that 100%.” Who is in the Hype House show? In their tweet announcing the show, Netflix billed the members as Kouvr Annon, Nikita Dragun, Sienna Mae Gomez, Chase Hudson, Larri Merritt, Thomas Petrou, Alex Warren, and Jack Wright, but from promo images for the show it looks like there could be even more people involved. Read More: Top 20 most followed TikTok accounts – Nikita Dragun actually hit back at the backlash against the show when it was announced in April, specifically at those who were criticizing her involvement in the show. “I know people aren’t happy that I’m in it or whatever the ****, and I could care honestly less, but for those who do support me, I’m really excited because I always say this… this is so uncomfortable for me, because I think it shows a different side to my life.” If Thomas’ guesses are anything to go by, it looks like fans could finally be able to watch the show in late 2021 or early 2022, but it’s impossible to predict what kind of reception the show will get.
