Instagram models give Mike Majlak tips for sliding into the DMs YouTube: Mike Majlak VlogsMastering the internet dating scene is pretty difficult, but thankfully YouTuber Mike Majlak has come to the rescue by asking Instagram models what they look for when people slide into the DM’s. Current restrictions have changed the way that the whole world dates. Understanding the virtual language of love can be hard for all of us, especially if you’ve never interacted with the person that your heart desires. Once upon a time, we listed the six best co-op games for couples and prospective romantics to try out, but in order to get to that stage you need to send that special someone a message first. Thankfully, YouTuber Mike Majlak has come to the rescue by asking Instagram models for some DM tricks. Mike asks Instagram models for dating advice Jumping in the hot tub with Instagram models Amanda Diaz and Ashley Nichole, he asks the two women about what they find most impressive when a male approaches via direct message. First up is Amanda, who notes that “you can’t be shy with it, you’ve just got to send it. I need to know you’re interested and not, like, just trying to be friends. “But, y’know the thing is, if you’re really bold with it just comment on my picture and I’ll see it. I like a comment!” Ashley echoes this, noting that “it’s all about confidence for me. As long as you have the confidence and the humor then you’re confident in yourself. I think that’s such an attractive thing overall.” The takeaway from the stream really is to be confident with a good sense of fun, but not to a point where it’s too crushing or obnoxious. The women share some pretty sound advice, which gives any prospective DM’ers the female perspective. So, whether you’re hoping to slip into a celebrity’s DMs or just one of your friends, make sure that you’ve got that charm and charisma because it may just be the magic you need!

Instagram removes controversial Andrew Schulz MMA post for “inciting violence” – Dexerto
Instagram removes controversial Andrew Schulz MMA post for “inciting violence” YouTube: Flagrant 2 Clips / InstagramComedian Andrew Schulz hit out at Instagram after the social media platform removed his post for “inciting violence.” The Flagrant 2 podcast host came under fire after criticizing UFC Womens Flyweight Champion Valentina Shevchenko. Stand-up comic Andrew Schulz sparked backlash from the MMA community after claiming fighter Valentina Shevchenko could not be a “star” due to her performance at UFC 266. The popular comedian further drew attention after Instagram removed his response to angry martial arts fans, claiming that it violated their policy of “inciting violence” on the platform. Instagram removes Andrew Schulz’ MMA posts The 37-year-old podcast host kicked off a wave of anger from UFC fans after sharing his critical take on Champion Valentina Shevchenko. Responding to the outcry, the comic tweeted, “To the MMA fans around the world that are heartbroken I wasn’t familiar with Shevchenko, I only know about female MMA fighters if they were born with a p**is.” In a September 26th update, Andrew Schulz revealed that Instagram had deleted his post featuring the viral Twitter message. According to the comedic personality, the social media giant had accused him of trying to “incite violence.” The Flagrant 2 creator then called out the platform and his detractors by exclaiming, “They took this down for “inciting violence”. They’re really trying to silence greatest journalist in MMA history. News flash: it won’t happen.” View this post on Instagram The backlash surrounding the stand-up comedian started on September 25 after Schulz reacted to Shevchenko’s performance at UFC 266. “You cannot be a star in the UFC without finishing people. This Shevchenko fighter is incredibly skilled. But she doesn’t seem to be willing to take the risks necessary for stardom,” he said. His take immediately came under fire from the MMA community including UFC Middleweight Champion Israel Adesanya, who tweeted, “You must be new here.” Schulz replied back stating, “Took her 4 rounds to take out a diner waitress. C’mon. Wasting our time.” View this post on Instagram The Flagrant 2 podcast host further shot back at angry fight fans in an Instagram story where he wrote, “I ain’t going nowhere you lispy tongued losers. I am the greatest MMA journalist for a reason. And I ain’t going nowhere. I did pray tho for y’all.” While Andrew Schulz argued that Valentina Shevchenko’s UFC 266 performance left much to be desired, critics pointed out that the Flyweight Champion has knocked out three of her last four opponents. Regardless, the comedian seems to be doubling down on his opinion and is roasting those upset with him.

Instagram model under fire for swimming in deadly Canary Islands cave – Dexerto
Instagram model under fire for swimming in deadly Canary Islands cave Instagram: _riverss_An Instagram model is coming under fire after uploading several photos of herself swimming in a dangerous and off-limits cave in the Canary Islands. Marina Rivera Saldaña is a prominent Spanish influencer and Instagram model, boasting nearly two million followers on Insta and over 7 million fans on TikTok. While Saldaña routinely posts pics of herself in gorgeous locales, some of her most recent photos are sparking quite a storm on social media. On September 1, the model posed for a few shots of herself in a cavern with a backdrop of beautiful blue water behind her. In some of these photos, she can be seen swimming in the water, captioning the pics: “I’m a little mermaid from Makoo.” Although the backdrop was nothing short of idyllic, many commenters pointed out that Saldaña was actually swimming in an extremely dangerous area. To be more specific, Marina was taking a dip in the famous El Tancón cave located in Santiago del Teide, Tenerife in the Canary Islands — a group of Spanish islands near Morocco. The cave, while beautiful, is deadly, with six people reportedly losing their lives in the location as of 2021, according to the New York Post. In fact, the cave is so dangerous that it is actually off-limits to tourists due to a bufadero, also called a ‘blow hole.’ This rock formation can cause “unpredictable” currents and makes it difficult for emergency responders to get to people inside. Commenters had a lot to say about Saldaña’s latest photoshoot, with many viewers decrying her for visiting such a deadly and off-limits area just to snap a few pics. “Bathing is forbidden there,” one user wrote. “We are sick of tourists that don’t respect our land.” “It seems to me a lack of respect that you are bathing in a place that is PROHIBITED, which is FENCED and has SIGNS POSED which prohibit bathing, and you enter because of the photos, and on top of that you publish it. Where you are, people have died, it is not an area suitable for bathing,” another said. “I don’t understand why they skip all the security measures for a photo, unfortunate,” yet another commented. This is far from the first time an influencer has come under fire for their travels; recently, a TikToker faced backlash for urging her viewers to simply “book a freakin’ flight” to Thailand instead of staying at home.

Instagram model’s “boyfriend application” attracts 3,000 hopeful candidates within 24 hours TikTok: itsveradijkmans / Instagram: veradijkmansAn Instagram model revealed she is taking “boyfriend applications” and her viewers jumped at the chance, sending her thousands of applications within just the first day. According to Vera Dijkmans, “It’s hard dating in 2023.” The popular influencer has 5.7 million followers on Instagram alone and claims to make $360,000 a month as an OnlyFans model. With such an impressive fanbase, it can be hard to pick out who amongst the mix might just be a potential suitor. Now Dijkmans has found the solution: a boyfriend application. Hoping to find someone that’s a “good fit,” Dijkmans now has the tedious process of sorting through all the applications, having already received around 3,000 within just the first 24 hours. For anyone planning on applying, the form includes 22 questions that range from asking about the applicant’s astrological sign to determining whether they live with their parents. Dijkmans also wants to know whether applicants watch Avatar The Last Airbender (A very important question) and who the best artist is — the only options being The Weeknd, Drake, Future, and Travis Scott. Whatever the winning answers might be, Dijkmans isn’t looking to compromise on what she’s looking for, telling Nude PR, “I’m ready to settle down and be serious.” And for some extra clues as to what she’s looking for, Dijkmans said, “He needs to be funny, have good taste in music, and [have] his own income. He also has to be loyal and someone who watches cartoons.” Posting the form on social media, many commented to share their hopes of winning the title. “Well I’m free and available,” one said. Another wrote, “Wish I was a boy so I could sign up.” As to whether or not Dijkmans’ boyfriend application results in her finding the one, we’ll have to wait and see. In her video, Stroh claims she felt “exploited” and “manipulated” by the singer, and shared screenshots of messages between them. In the messages, Levine tells Stroh that “it is truly unreal how f**king hot you are, like it blows my mind.” “At the time I was young, I was naive,” Sumner explained. “I mean, quite frankly, I feel exploited. I mean, I wasn’t in the scene like I am now, so I was definitely very easily manipulated.” Instagram model Sumner Stroh claims Adam Levine wanted to name his baby after her Stroh claims that she was seeing Levine for “about a year” and stopped talking to him for “a period of months” when the singer contacted her again via Instagram, as shown by a recording of her notification history on her phone’s home screen. The message, supposedly from Levine, reads: “Okay serious question. I’m having another baby and if it’s a boy I really wanna name it Sumner. You okay with that? DEAD serious.” “My morals were unknowingly compromised,” the model said of her affair with Levine. “I was completely manipulated.” Levine’s wife celebrated the announcement of her third pregnancy merely four days prior to Stroh’s viral tell-all video, which is garnering massive amounts of both backlash and sympathy online. Instagram model under fire for “domestic abuse cosplay” dressing up as Amouranth Twitter.com/EllieRaelolAmouranth has been under a near-constant spotlight since claims that she was in an abusive marriage, and now an OnlyFans model is getting heat for a cosplay that fans think crosses the line. Warning: some readers may find aspects of the following article distressing. On October 16, Kaitlyn ‘Amouranth’ Siragusa opened up on stream about the details of her multi-year relationship and how she has been allegedly threatened and insulted by her partner for much of her streaming career. This situation has dominated headlines across the internet, and one Instagram/Patreon model wanted to capitalize on the moment by cosplaying as the iconic streamer. The message attached to that cosplay has fans absolutely fuming. Instagram model under fire for cosplaying as Amouranth after domestic abuse allegations The original tweets from model Ellie Rae are now deleted, but another Twitter user captured screenshots of them that showcased the photos and the caption attached to them before they were removed. “If I stop streaming for the simps he teaches me a lesson,” the caption read, accompanied by a few pictures of herself in a clear imitation of Amouranth’s style. One of the photos also showcased her legs wrapped in rope, and another showcased her hiding her face the way one might if they were being shamed for something. The woman who screenshotted the interaction commented on the situation calling it a “ cosplay of the streamer suffering public domestic abuse” but she’s not the only one who was repulsed by the situation. Other people chimed in with reactions ranging from calling the tweet “grim” to “pure evil” with nearly every commenter unified in their disgust toward the cosplay. Other than deleting the tweets, Ellie Rae hasn’t responded to the controversy at all. The controversy and outrage from those criticizing her cosplay doesn’t seem to be dying down anytime soon.

Instagram model shatters chicken McNugget eating world record – Dexerto
Instagram model shatters chicken McNugget eating world record YouTube/ Guinness World RecordsAn Instagram model and competitive eater destroyed the world record for most chicken McNuggets eaten in one minute. You’ll be hard-pressed to find anyone who doesn’t love chicken nuggets, but do you know anyone who can eat 20 in just sixty seconds? That’s exactly what Leah Shutkever set out to do when she attempted to break the world record. While Leah is an Instagram model, she’s also the UK’s top female competitive eater and holds a whopping 27 world record titles. In a wild video, the eater aimed to take down 12.42 oz of McNuggets and to make it even more impressive, she did so without dipping sauce – a staple of nugget lovers everywhere. Instagram star devours 19 McNuggets in one minute In the video, Leah held nothing back, popping nugget after nugget into her mouth and only occasionally having a sip of water between bites. By the time the minute had elapsed, the previous record of 10.51 oz held by Nela Zisser had bit the dust with Shutkever reigning supreme. However, she was still left feeling hungry as while she set a new record, there was one nugget left over – something she was actually quite sad about. “I’ll be honest, I’m really disappointed about it,” she said. Still, it was quite a feat and one that could really put anyone who thinks they eat a lot of McDonald’s to shame. It just goes to show that competitors come in all sorts of shapes and sizes. As for who will go after the crown next, it remains to be seen. But seeing as how Shutkever really wanted that 20th nugget, there’s a chance that she might have to break her own record in the near future.

Instagram model Nikki Banner tells all on relationship with Jake Paul – Dexerto
Instagram model Nikki Banner tells all on relationship with Jake Paul Instagram model Nikki Banner, recently in the news for her relationship with YouTube star Jake Paul, spoke out on the incident in an interview with the Daily Dot. While Banner admitted to flying out to California for a camping trip with Paul in late October, she says she went into it thinking that he and Costell were no longer a couple at that time. Banner told Daily Dot that she “never would have gone” if she thought that Paul and Costell were still together or had a chance at reconciling. Banner’s statement lines up with Paul’s Tweet on the subject, which claimed that he and Costell had broken up ‘a while ago,’ before the Tweet was posted on November 7. However, her stint with Paul wasn’t all sunshine and roses; according to Banner, although she and Paul had “hooked up” on the first night of their camping trip, he was texting other girls the very next day. In fact, Banner even claimed that Paul had asked her if he should hook up with model Joy Corrigan, as well as if he should mend things with Costell. 600https://www.eonline.com/news/984913/youtube-stars-jake-paul-and-erika-costella-announce-breakup This claim aligns with DMs sent to Drama Alert host KEEMSTAR, who featured the story on November 5 – two days before Paul went public with his breakup. “…he did do it to her, but he also did the same thing to me,” she said of the situation. “He lied to both of us. …I think it’s wrong for a guy to lie to everyone because of an image.” Since then, Banner has been the subject of ample harassment via social media, and was even accused of breaking up the YouTube couple.

Instagram model defends dating 16-year-old amid “grooming” backlash – Dexerto
Instagram model defends dating 16-year-old amid “grooming” backlash Instagram: markovitukA 21-year-old influencer defended dating someone five years younger than she is after netizens called her out for “grooming” her 16-year-old boyfriend. Instagram model Natasha Newcombe began dating her boyfriend Marko Vituk when he was only 16 years old. Being 21 years old herself, the British influencer faced an immense amount of backlash for dating someone five years younger than her. “Buddy getting groomed but think he’s a big shot,” commented one on an Instagram post of the controversial couple. “This is wrong! If this was reversed, people would be losing their minds wanting justice for child molestation,” added another. However, Natasha defended her relationship with Marko when they were both guests on the ‘The Blue Tick Show’ podcast, hosted by Mikey Melin. “I am in a relationship with someone who’s five years younger than me, and I know a lot of people are gonna have their opinions on that, and quite rightly so. You’re allowed to have your opinions, that’s your free will,” she said. “Although my relationship is very new, I just have to say that this boy is genuinely the most mature, kind, loving person I’ve ever been in a relationship with. “I will not stand for hate directed at me, my friends, or family,” she added. The couple initially met online and Natasha was hesitant to continue their relationship, as she had never dated someone younger than her. Despite their first date being a flop, the pair stayed together. Though many netizens have quipped about the relationship being wrong because of Marko being a “minor,” the legal age of consent in the UK is 16, making their relationship not only consensual but also legal in the eyes of the country. That hasn’t stopped the backlash from pouring in, though. Some comments online even called the couple out for looking like a mother-and-son duo. The heat might be on Natasha and Marko, however, YouTuber MrBeast has also recently faced backlash after his colleague and friend Ava Kris Tyson reportedly groomed a minor when she was 20 years old.

Instagram is trying to become TikTok to reclaim spot as top social media app – Dexerto
Instagram is trying to become TikTok to reclaim spot as top social media app Unsplash: Brett JordanHead of Instagram Adam Mosseri has claimed that Instagram is “no longer a photo-sharing app,” citing TikTok as one of their biggest competitors ahead of big changes to the platform. For many years, Instagram served as one of the most popular social media apps, allowing people to share pictures of their life with friends and explore the content of various different creators. Instagram also became a hub for influencers to engage in sponsorship deals, and for many, it was their primary platform. But then TikTok came along and become a massive hit globally. After Bytedance bought Musical.ly and merged with TikTok in 2018, it began a rapid rise to success. Now it is undeniably one of the most popular social media platforms out there, hosting a range of popular creators with tens of millions of followers, and serving as the primary hub of viral content on the internet. As always, Instagram has been trying to keep pace with TikTok, and has even rolled out its own ‘Reels’ feature’ — a strikingly similar style of video content to TikTok itself. Instagram even went as far as to move the post button, putting the Reels tab in its place, prompting a huge amount of backlash online. However, it seems as though they’re not planning on stopping there, and in a video posted to Twitter, Instagram head Adam Mosseri revealed that big changes are coming to the platform. Is Instagram becoming TikTok? With Instagram looking like they plan to move away from their original roots, many have been left wondering whether the app plans on aligning themselves more closely with TikTok — and Mosseri himself reveals that TikTok is a big competitor. Read More: Khaby Lame overtakes Addison Rae on TikTok – “I want to start by saying, we’re no longer a photo-sharing app, or a square photo-sharing app,” he said. “The number one reason people say that they use Instagram in research is to be entertained. So people are looking to us for that.” He continued: “Let’s be honest, there’s some really serious competition right now. TikTok is huge, YouTube is even bigger, and there’s lots of other upstarts as well.” Changes are coming to video on Instagram 📺 At Instagram we’re always trying to build new features that help you get the most out of your experience. Right now we’re focused on four key areas: Creators, Video, Shopping and Messaging. pic.twitter.com/ezFp4hfDpf — Adam Mosseri (@mosseri) June 30, 2021 Mosseri said they plan to experiment with how they can embrace video more broadly, with “full-screen, immersive, entertaining, mobile-first” video. He added that within the space of the coming months, users will see Instagram experiment with a lot more features. Read More: How to use the Vintage Suit filter on TikTok – The video was flooded with comments from users who opposed the shift towards video content, urging them to keep their roots in photography. “You’re not TikTok, and people use Instagram BECAUSE it’s not TikTok,” user ohitore wrote in response. With Instagram getting left behind as TikTok takes the lead with regard to mobile content, it’s clear they’re not prepared to give up just yet. But it’s possible that these big upcoming changes could begin to drive users away from Instagram rather than towards it.

Instagram model charged in fatal car crash told cops she was “from the future” – Dexerto
Instagram model charged in fatal car crash told cops she was “from the future” Instagram/Miami-Dade Corrections/GoFundMeAn Instagram model charged with causing a three-vehicle car crash that killed two people admitted that she was on drugs and told officers she was “from the future.” On August 10, Instagram model Maecee Marie Lathers allegedly ran a red light and crashed her Mercedes into a Range Rover in downtown Miami. The two cars then collided with a silver Suzuki sedan, whose driver, Abraham Ismael, died after being taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital. The rear passenger was also killed, but Ismael’s wife, Juanita Hernández, survived the crash, as did the driver of the Range Rover. Hernández has since made a GoFundMe to raise money as she’s been unable to work due to her injuries and caring for her 16-year-old son. “I am now unable to work due to my injuries, and the boy’s life has been turned upside down,” she wrote. At the time of publication, the GoFundMe has raised just over $10,000. After the crash, Lathers allegedly tried to flee the area before being grabbed by bystanders who prevented her from escaping. She was eventually arrested and reportedly told police she was under the influence of “pink cocaine,” also known as “2C.” According to the New York Post, she was charged with four counts of driving without a license resulting in death or serious injury, as well as four counts of leaving the scene of a crash resulting in death or serious injuries. In court, Florida 11th Circuit Court Judge Mindy S. Glazer read a report from officers: “She advised she was under the influence of ‘2C,’ a known party drug, and that she was from the future and had a crystal ball.” Her attorney, Martez Gordon, argued against the prosecution’s $500,000 bond request, calling it “unreasonable.” “She doesn’t pose a danger to the community. She’s a college graduate. She’s been in the state of Florida, your honor, for over almost two years,” he said. Judge Glazer disagreed and called Lathers “an absolute danger to the community.” She further noted she shouldn’t have been driving to begin with, because her license had been suspended. “And if it wasn’t for the citizens or witnesses nearby who stopped her, she would have completely fled.” The judge agreed to place her on house arrest if she posts a reduced $140,000 bond, and ordered her not to drive. Lathers had been in Florida since 2022 after living in New York. Her Instagram account remains active with 11,000 followers and is affiliated with two different modeling agencies.

Blackwell, who describes herself as a “comedian” and boasts an Instagram following of over 200k, was left shaken and in tears after being arrested for livestreaming a multi-store robbery that targeted stores like Apple and Lululemon. Blackwell showed her large Instagram following the September 26th riots in Philadelphia up close and personal as reported by NBC Philadelphia. Livestreams showed many stealing Apple iPhones and iPads; Blackwell can be seen yelling “Free iPhones!!” from her Instagram live as people ran from the Apple store clutching the tech goods in hand. Police used Meatball’s Instagram live to track down the suspects of the riot and Meatball herself – after viewers witnessed her pan the camera to the police challenging them: “Tell the police they’re either gonna lock me up tonight, or it’s gonna get lit, it’s gonna be a movie.” Instagram influencer Meatball arrested after looting livestream The police did eventually lock Meatball up, charging her with six felonies, which ranged from burglary to conspiracy, setting her bail at a hefty $25,000 according to a report from the New York Post. Dayjia “Meatball” Blackwell returned to her Instagram to inform fans about the experience of her being arrested once she was out. She admitted that the ordeal had her *stressed the f**k out” and “overwhelmed,” and begged fans to send money to her to help with her “legal woes”… and also a little bit extra so that she could “treat herself.” Meatball herself has taken to posting her own mugshot to her instagram page and has used it to promote her clothing brand as she seeks financial assistance with legal fees. But, while dozens were arrested in connection with the looting of an Apple store in Philadelphia, the losses Apple suffered on the 26th were much less than the losses they sustained after an employee stole millions from the company.

Instagram influencer reveals insane amount of money brands make from ads – Dexerto
Instagram influencer reveals insane amount of money brands make from ads Carly Heitlinger via Twitter / J. Crew x Jeepersmedia via FlickrInfluencers can get a lot of flack, but Carly A. Heitlinger proved just how valuable their work is to brands by releasing the amount of money she helped J.Crew earn in 2019. Sarah Tripp, better known as ‘sassyredlipstick,’ is a blogger and body positivity activist with over 700,000 followers on Instagram. She received a tremendous amount of backlash after revealing that, following J.Crew’s Chapter 11 bankruptcy filing, she would no longer be creating content for the brand. This brings up a pivotal question, more relevant today than ever: as primarily authentic community builders, is fulfilling unpaid work for brands something that influencers owe to their fans? https://twitter.com/TaylorLorenz/status/1258784115358400513 As with most situations, there are two sides to be discussed. On the one hand, Tripp’s refusal to try on J.Crew’s clothing means her fans are missing on content they wanted, while also suggesting that her content is monetarily driven, rather than genuine. On the other hand, Tripp is a self-professed “working mama,” who would be doing a disservice to herself and her family by working to create unpaid content. To elucidate upon the latter perspective, Heitlinger’s comments, on the role influencers play in brand marketing strategy, are useful. Providing a look under the hood, Heitlinger explained that she, alone, drove $642,856.14 in revenue for J.Crew in 2019. https://twitter.com/TaylorLorenz/status/1258794787383230464 While she did not reveal how much she was paid by J.Crew, those numbers earned by the brand are staggering—$54,000-plus in sales per month, as noted by New York Times Style reporter, Taylor Lorenz. This derails a popular critique of influencers as entitled content creators who are lucky to be paid at all for doing such an easy job. Instead, it paints the picture that the marketing landscape has shifted and influencers serve as legitimate a function as traditional ad campaigns. If Tripp and others are able to make companies so much money by tapping into their communities, then is it reasonable for them to do that work for free? https://www.instagram.com/p/B_yJ2TaD_rJ/ While everyone would admire a musical artist performing for free to raise money for UNICEF charity, most would consider it foolish if that artist performed pro bono at a ticketed Fashion Week event with profits, instead going entirely to the hosting brand’s pockets. In the same way, influencers play a legitimate role in the economy, and their work doesn’t deserve to be undermined by its perceived ease despite the objective truth of its impact on revenues. Sure, influencer communities are built on authenticity, so Tripp could have been more transparent and asked if her fans really wanted her to try the clothes on for free. She could have put her audience’s needs first and trusted them to understand her situation. But people should understand their preferred influencers are professionals and appreciate that sometimes they need to be as incisive in partnership decisions as corporate-backed brands will be.

Instagram follows TikTok’s footsteps again with new repost feature testing – Dexerto
Instagram follows TikTok’s footsteps again with new repost feature testing Instagram is reportedly working on another feature to give users the ability to repost other users’ posts and reels to their followers. With over 2 billion active users as of December 2021, Instagram is one of the most popular social media platforms. Following the controversial introduction of Reels — which resulted in Instagram reverting the changes made entirely — the platform plans to begin testing a new repost feature. Instagram reportedly testing report feature Since Instagram’s release in 2010, there’s been no way to reshare posts to your feed. Users have only been able to reshare stories and share posts through direct messages. Now, the platform has plans to begin testing a new feature to improve these issues with a select group of users, according to reports. Social media consultant Matt Navarra first spotted the new repost feature alongside the posts, reels and tagged photos tab on Instagram head Adam Mosseri’s profile. A Meta spokesperson told TechCrunch: “We’re exploring the ability to reshare posts in Feed — similar to how you can reshare in Stories — so people can share what resonates with them, and so original creators are credited for their work. We plan to test this soon with a small number of people.” As noted by TechCrunch, app researcher Alessandro Paluzzi spotted the feature in development back in May. Instagram’s reposting is expected to work similarly to Twitter’s retweet, and would remove the need for third-party services to reshare posts. Previously, TikTok also tested its version of reposting, which lets users share their favorite videos with their followers. However, it has since been removed from the platform, with it being unclear if the ability will return. It is unclear whether or not the function will be here to stay, or be removed after its initial testing like what was seen with TikTok. However, it is certainly an exciting feature we’ve been waiting years for.

Instagram influencer faces backlash for “polluted” gender reveal party – Dexerto
Instagram influencer faces backlash for “polluted” gender reveal party INSTAGRAM: inga_stumbrieneAn influencer has come under fire on Instagram after throwing a gender reveal party with airplanes flying above, releasing colored smoke in the air. Lithuanian blogger and influencer Inga Stumbriene recently put on an extravagant gender reveal party, which featured a trio of airplanes emitting smoke-like trails in the sky. In a video posted to her Instagram, Inga and her husband stood in front of a balloon arrangement. On one side, the word GIRL was surrounded by pink balloons, while on the other side, the word BOY was amid blue balloons. The couple held hands while looking up at the sky, as three planes emerged and executed a large loop in the air twice. In another post, it was revealed that they were having a baby boy, as the planes released blue-colored smoke. Since sharing her “beautiful and cosy family celebration” on her Instagram page, Inga’s post has garnered over 25.5 million views and more than 387,000 likes. However, she faced backlash by many viewers for the big gender reveal. “The most polluted gender reveal known to man,” one user wrote under the video, before Inga disabled her comment section. “The most selfish and wasteful way to do a gender reveal… I’m all for unique gender reveals but this is just plain pompous, arrogant and so over the top,” another one said. “Nice waste of the pilot’s time and just burning fossil fuels,” a third added. “Bro is already leaving CO2 footprint before even getting out of the womb,” someone else quipped. Despite the criticism, Inga wrote in the caption of another post: “While we are enjoying unspeakable joy and peace at home, it seems that the whole world is literally going crazy for our gender reveal.” This isn’t the first time that someone has been slammed for their gender reveal. Previously, a couple sparked outrage for their explosive “forest fire” gender reveal celebration.

Instagram’s hidden emoji game: What is it and how do you play? – Dexerto
Instagram’s hidden emoji game: What is it and how do you play? InstagramA new game on Instagram has gone viral online, as people try to figure out how to play the hidden emoji game in the app. Here’s everything you need to know about how you can play it. TikTok user Lisa Hagens went viral with over 8.7 million views when she took to the platform to show others the hidden emoji game she’d found on Instagram. Thousands of people flocked to the comments to ask how she’d found the game, and how they could play it themselves. Here’s everything you need to know about the hidden emoji game in Instagram DMs and how you can play it yourself. How to play the emoji game on Instagram To play the game, you simply have to go to a messaging conversation on the app and send someone an emoji. Then press the emoji you’ve sent or an emoji someone has sent you and the game should start. As the game starts, your goal is to keep your emoji afloat on the screen by moving the platform at the bottom of the screen by sliding it from side to side to catch the emoji. You will gain points as you play, and when you reach 10 points, you will see some emojis transform into something new, for example, if you play with a caterpillar emoji, it will eventually change into a butterfly, and a potato emoji will become French fries. As you continue to play, the emoji will start to move faster, making it more difficult. The game will save your high score every time you play, and it will save even if you start playing in a different DM conversation. What to do if you can’t access the game If you followed the steps, but still can’t access the emoji game on Instagram, chances are it’s because it’s not become available to all users yet. Make sure to keep your Instagram updated, and keep your eyes out for it to become available for you. Instagram boss responds to viral ‘Make Instagram normal’ campaign – Dexerto
Instagram boss responds to viral ‘Make Instagram normal’ campaign Unsplash: Brett JordanHead of Instagram Adam Mosseri has responded to the viral ‘Make Instagram normal’ campaign as more and more users are complaining about their shift to video content. Over the last few weeks, Instagram’s home feed has been taken over by more videos uploaded by creators. The slow move to a format like TikTok has started the ‘Make Instagram Normal’ campaign, and Kylie Jenner joined the movement on July 16 when she called for Instagram to “stop trying to be TikTok.” The Head of Instagram, Adam Mosseri, has responded to the recent backlash… and users aren’t happy. Head of Instagram responds to video backlash On July 26, Adam Mosseri posted a video tweet to address a few things that they’re working on to make Instagram a better experience. “There’s a lot going on with Instagram right now, we’re experimenting with a number of different changes to the app. And so, we’re hearing a lot of concerns from all of you,” he explained. He went on to detail that if users are seeing or hearing about the new full-screen version of the feed, it is a test and therefore it’s not perfect — yet. “The second thing I’m hearing a lot of concerns about is photos, and how we’re shifting to video. Now, I want to be clear that we’re going to continue to support photos,” he detailed. “That said, I do believe more and more of Instagram is going to become video over time.” Mosseri’s response didn’t make Instagram users happy, with many taking to the comments expressing their distaste for the new features. One user said: “Fullscreen is a poor product experience because it has replaced a seamless scrolling experience with a friction-filled experience. It’s a stop and pause to force me to watch every post. I don’t want every post to be full screen.” While another explained: “Competing with TikTok is a fine ambition, but it shouldn’t replace the pictures of friends that keep me going to IG.”

Instacart shopper claims customer reported them missing while shopping – Dexerto
Instacart shopper claims customer reported them missing while shopping TIKTOK: TRASHBUNSAn Instacart shopper claimed a customer called 911 and reported them as a missing person in viral TikTok video. TikTok user ‘Sunnie,’ who works as an Instacart driver, scored a batch of free groceries after a customer canceled his order. In a viral video, which has amassed over 3.5 million views, Sunnie revealed that since the store was closed and they could not return the items, they were allowed to keep the groceries. However, in a recent video with almost 2 million views, Sunnie revealed that the customer had canceled the order because he thought the Instacart shopper had been kidnapped. According to Sunnie, he even called 911 to report them as as a missing person. In another video, the TikToker detailed what exactly happened. They explained that they were assigned two orders, the first being an order in the mountains and the second being the order they would eventually get for free. When delivering in the mountains, Sunnie says they had no phone service, so they didn’t receive any messages that the customer sent. But once they arrived in an area with service, Sunnie discovered that the customer was messaging them non-stop, informing them that he was going to call 911. The Instacart shopper messaged him back to assure him that they were fine, but they didn’t hear back from the customer, who would then cancel his order. Instead, Sunnie says they received eight messages and a missed call from Instacart. “I’m temp banned from Instacart because this caused such a commotion,” they claim. TikTok react to Instacart shopper’s viral video Many TikTok users praised the customer for caring about the shopper’s safety, although Sunnie doesn’t think that’s the case. “Stop, protect this man at all costs because he really went out of his way and he had every intuition that you were not safe,” one user commented. “That was sweet. A little much, but he might have trauma and it’s nice that he cared,” another user wrote. In response, Sunnie posted a video disagreeing with the comment, and speculating that the customer was “probably in a drug-induced paranoia,” as drugs are common where they live. Other users thought the customer had canceled his order to get free groceries. “I guess they thought they’d just get them for free?? Lol people be doing the most,” one user wrote. “Ohh, they probably ordered it thinking they’ll cancel and still get groceries for free and called 911 bc they’re mad it didn’t work,” someone else added. Last month, another TikToker went viral on the social media app after receiving plenty of random free food from a DoorDash orderer.

Instacart driver gets car stolen and still delivers order in viral video – Dexerto
Instacart driver gets car stolen and still delivers order in viral video TIKTOK: _iluvmareeAn Instacart driver went viral on TikTok after her car was stolen and she still tried to deliver the customer’s order. In a viral clip posted by TikToker Semaria (_iluvmaree,) a delivery driver could be seen walking up to her mom’s porch at night. The Instacart shopper walked up to the front door as the woman inside the house was heard saying, “Get the f**k away from my door.” The shopper then asked, “Is this for Instacart?” before the woman replied “No,” leading the driver to apologize and walk away. The shopper then looked up from the porch to the balcony and began explaining to Semaria’s mother how her car was stolen. “No, I just got out of the car and some dude just ran up to us, took our car, and we came out,” she told her. She also explained how she was getting the order out of the back of the car, when the carjacker ran up and got inside the vehicle, and drove off after her boyfriend got out. The driver said she didn’t lock her car because she was about to “get right back in.” The TikToker provided more context to the video in a follow-up clip, explaining her mom’s side of the story. According to Semaria, her mom placed an order on Instacart at 10:30 pm, and around midnight, decided to cancel it after the order was delayed for nearly two hours. An hour later, the mother said she heard “a commotion” outside her home, and a woman saying, “Are you f**king serious?” followed by the sound of a car speeding off. Semaria’s mom then stepped onto her balcony where she heard a man say that he got robbed. The police arrived shortly after. This is when the Instacart driver showed up on their doorsteps, attempting to deliver the mother’s order. According to Semaria, the shopper’s car broke down at the Walgreens where they had placed the order. After getting a jump from someone, the driver decided to still drop off the canceled order, and the carjacking event occurred shortly after she arrived to deliver it. Semaria’s mom concluded the video by hitting back at critics who called her “rude,” sharing how she offered the shopper and her boyfriend a lift to get home and also allowed them to use her restroom. Inside “Jana” – Jake Paul & Tana Mongeau’s explosive YouTube relationship – Dexerto
Inside “Jana” – Jake Paul & Tana Mongeau’s explosive YouTube relationship Jake Paul, YouTubeYouTube stars Jake Paul and Tana Mongeau shocked the internet when they tied the knot after just two months of dating — but their romance was short-lived, with the couple parting ways nearly five months later. YouTube’s most buzzed-about couple has come to an end after a long and tumultuous journey that left many fans scratching their heads. With both parties claiming to have an “open marriage” and refusing to wed “on paper,” it seemed like their union was merely a ruse for more views — but their eventual split showed that the love between them was far more valuable than any clout could ever be. With their breakup making headlines across celebrity news outlets, “Jana” is once more a popular topic in social media circles. A relationship that began as mere speculation, shrouded in secrecy, quickly climbed to YouTube’s top spot in the OTP category. This history begs the question: where did it all go wrong? The beginning of “Jana” What is now one of YouTube’s most famous (or infamous) pairings sparked thanks to fan “detectives,” who noticed that Mongeau had uploaded a Snapchat video in Jake Paul’s bedroom in May 2019. Speculation surrounding their love lives quickly grew out of control, prompting the YouTubers to upload a suggestive “mukbang” video addressing the matter. Although they claimed to not be romantically involved with one another, their video featured an off-screen kiss that begged to differ, and the two became an item shortly thereafter. The proposal Matching tattoos, car pranks, and even a fake family channel spawned in wake of the “Jana” romance — but that was far from its last legs, with Jake popping the question in the middle of a Las Vegas nightclub in celebration of Tana’s 21st birthday. Using a bonafide Ring Pop a la Deadpool, Jake Paul’s proposal shook up the fandom in a major way, with many noting that their relationship was progressing incredibly fast for how long they’d been dating. That’s not all: the two revealed their wedding date shortly thereafter, with a source telling Hollywood Life that the couple originally planned to say their vows a mere four days later. However, this plan didn’t end up panning out, and the two had to stall due to a few forthcoming projects, with Tana’s MTV show being one of them. The big day Thus, their wedding date was scheduled for July 28 at Vegas’s Graffiti Mansion, which was livestreamed for fans willing to pay the hefty fee of $50 to get a glimpse of the action in real time. The ceremony wasn’t without incident, though, with a fight breaking out as the couple stood at the altar. While the brawl was later claimed to have been staged, it kicked off what would be one of the net’s shortest “marriages” to date — and one of the most hectic. Honeymoon drama Just after their marriage, Mongeau announced that she would not be taking part in her previously planned honeymoon festivities due to a “family emergency,” which she later revealed as the unfortunate passing of her grandmother. Meanwhile, hubby Jake lived it up on his now-solo European honeymoon — but fan speculation regarding the trip quickly grew out of control, after he was spotted posing with several women on a boat. While Jake later explained that he’d been seen with the models because he was filming a music video, that wouldn’t be the end of fans’ criticisms surrounding the newlyweds, by far. The photos that shocked the net Not even a month after their wedding, drama exploded across social media after photos of Jake Paul and ex-girlfriend Erika Costell surfaced online, with the two apparently grabbing lunch together after attending Viner Justin Roberts’ birthday party. It doesn’t look like Mongeau was aware of their meeting, either, with the star revealing that she’d only learned of the meetup via Twitter and even posting a passive-aggressive “lmao wtf” in response. The controversy around “These Days” Although Costell refused to mention their meetup at first, she later revealed their lunch date as a means for her to “move on” from their past. https://www.instagram.com/p/B5n6-DCl738/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link However, that wasn’t the last time Jake would be in hot water after mentioning an ex, as the YouTuber later posted a photo of himself and ex-girlfriend Alissa Violet to promote his song, “These Days” in December. Tana opens up It seems that all the drama, speculation, and talk of ex-girlfriends finally got to Tana, with the MTV starlet taking a break from social media and posting an emotional video admitting that she’d “lost” herself in her marriage to Jake. “I felt like I was opening my phone every day to something that just broke me further,” she said in her video. “Finding out about the Erika s**t on Twitter killed me, because Jake and I had so many conversations where he like villainized her, and I spent so much time trying to be everything she wasn’t.” The breakup It came as little surprise to just about anyone following their roller coaster relationship that the two YouTubers officially broke things off not long afterwards, with both posting separate photos to Instagram explaining their amicable breakup. “I’ll never know what the future holds and I will always love Jake and everything we did,” Mongeau wrote of their split. “I’m grateful to know throughout this I’ve made a best friend for life and found someone to do life with when no one understood me.” https://www.instagram.com/p/B62A_BFh8wh/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link Luckily for these internet stars, their marriage was never officially mandated “on paper” — but that didn’t stop Tana from trying to snag Jake’s dog Thor in the fallout of their “divorce.” In spite of their highly-public breakup, it doesn’t look like there’s any bad blood between the two, with Tana even co-hosting ex-hubby Jake’s press conference against boxing opponent AnEsonGib (wearing a top that read “we are not dating,” for good measure). While fan speculation later paired Mongeau with vlogging star David Dobrik, it looks like both Tana and Jake are taking some much-needed time for themselves, with Paul even admitting that boxing is his new love.

Insider claims WWE faked Saudi sale to entice other buyers – Dexerto
Insider claims WWE faked Saudi sale to entice other buyers WWE, CanvaIt’s been widely speculated for months that WWE, under the stewardship of Vince McMahon, wanted to sell. A Saudi buyout looked to be the most likely option, but an insider has claimed a more sneaky ploy took place, described as “pure genius.” We are still hot on the heels of one of the most captivating Wrestlemania Premium Live Events ever that saw another stellar performance from Logan Paul, as well as the shock debut of KSI. However, lurking behind the scenes of Wrestlemania 39 was the news that the WWE was in the process of being completely merged with UFC’s parent company – Endeavor Group. The proposed takeover eventually went through and saw Endeavor stump up over $9 billion to secure the acquisition of one the biggest sports entertainment products on the planet. It’s since transpired that the alleged Saudi bid for the company was apparently a ruse all along to drum up the kind of interest we have since seen. WWE sale to Saudis was nothing but a “story” In the last few years, the influence and presence of Saudi Arabia has been quite heavy in the world of sports. Major boxing events have taken place there, esports organizer ESL was purchased by Saudi investors, the Saudi-backed LIV Golf venture has caused controversy, and WWE has also been among the conversation. A whopping 10-year agreement was signed in 2018 that would see the wrestling company deliver several big-time PPV shows a year in Saudi Arabia. So when there was discussion about the WWE being sold, a Saudi bid was inevitable. Reportedly, a Saudi bid was lodged at one point, but according to insider Geekdom101: “I guess I can say this now. I was told privately a few months ago that the whole ‘WWE sold to the Saudis’ was apparently a story put out to drive up the interest in other buyers. If true, To quote Donatello from TMNT 2 ‘Genius…Pure Genius.’” The user in question has a solid track record when it comes to leaks as they gave away the ending to Godzilla vs Kong, as well as leaked the ending to The Matrix 4. So, there’s every chance that this is true, and from a business standpoint it does make some sense. If the leak is true, then the tactic was evidently effective. With news of Logan Paul’s WWE contract reportedly being up and questions surrounding KSI’s future with the company, it’s an interesting time for the company moving forward.

Insane Walmart fight goes viral as over 25 people brawl in self-checkout – Dexerto
Insane Walmart fight goes viral as over 25 people brawl in self-checkout X/freakoutfightsA wild Walmart melee is going viral after over twenty people started fighting at the self-checkout armed with weapons – including a fire extinguisher. Walmart’s reputation as a warzone is pretty well-known at this point, with countless fights and destruction taking place at the store… but nothing may top this brawl from a Walmart in Ferguson, Missouri. Multi-person battle royales are always quite a spectacle. We’ve seen one man take on fifteen foes at once, groups fight it out on riverboat rides, and now, Walmart’s version of Avengers Endgame. A video going viral across social media shows multiple customers all fighting with each other while employees are unable to get control of the situation. Needless to say, this was the type of melee we’d normally see at a McDonald’s. Massive Walmart brawl goes viral: What happened during the fight? The viral clip began with two women ganging up on a smaller fighter on the ground, while multiple other people fought around them. As the chaos ensued, another fighter picked up a bar and began threatening to hit others with it, while appearing to accuse someone of saying or do something to her mother. It didn’t take long for her to unleash her power, slamming another combatant with the bar before being knocked to the floor by a large man who walked out of the store shortly thereafter. By this time, there were only a handful of skirmishes going on, and those involved began exiting the store before the police could arrive. Another video even shows a man using a fire extinguisher as a weapon as the woman with the bar left the store. Although the video has resurfaced, it’s actually from October 2022. Ferguson Police Chief Frank McCall said the melee broke out after a smaller incident was settled by staff without the need for the cops to be called. No injuries were reported, and it’s not clear if anyone involved ended up being arrested, even though some of the individuals involved were identified. For more fight explainers, check out this wild porta-potty brawl that took place at a Morgan Wallen concert.

Insanely accurate Tom Cruise deepfake goes viral on TikTok – Dexerto
Insanely accurate Tom Cruise deepfake goes viral on TikTok TikTok: deeptomcruiseTikTok users have been spooked by an uncanny deepfake of actor Tom Cruise that’s going viral on the app, with many mistaking him as the real-deal at first glance. Deepfaking is something that people have been both fascinated and terrified by for some time now. The technology allows you to replace the faces of people in existing videos, using machine learning to make the final product look practically real. The technology is becoming so advanced that people are calling for governments to put limitations on deepfaking in order to protect people, with some videos being used for illegal purposes. In the past, TikTok stars Addison Rae and Dixie D’Amelio have responded to people making inappropriate deepfakes of them online, with celebrities and influencers being a prime target. However, not everyone who is utlizing the deepfake technology has bad intentions, as some are using it to create funny videos online. Read More: What is the Hamster Cult on TikTok? – TikTok user ‘deeptomcruise’ is the perfect example of this, making videos of his Tom Cruise deepfake that are now gaining traction on the app. The videos see the mystery person almost seamlessly blended with the popular American actor, even getting his voice and mannerisms down perfectly. The fake Tom Cruise acts out several scenarios, playing golf, and talking about his podcast. Users were astounded by the accuracy of the impression, and slightly concerned about how the deepfake aspect is almost undetectable for some. “One of the best deepfakes I’ve ever seen,” one user said, “the voice is really good too, could be artificial as well.” Read More: Tommyinnit responds after TikTok ban – Another commenter wrote, “these deepfakes are getting worryingly good. How the heck can we trust what we see on TV.” While the impression was thoroughly convincing, some eagle-eyed viewers pointed out ways in which you can tell it’s a deepfake. “Check the reflection of his face on the table when he gets up again, frame by frame,” one person explained, “the algorithm struggles (just a tiny bit) with the reflective bar.” At the time of writing the account has only uploaded three videos, but many are fascinated with the bizarrely real-looking deepfake and are awaiting more Tom Cruise content.

Insane TikTok Duet chain of man ‘holding his girlfriend hostage’ goes viral – Dexerto
Insane TikTok Duet chain of man ‘holding his girlfriend hostage’ goes viral TikTok: marcus.dipaola / anarchosaladismTikTok users have joined together in creating a ridiculously long Duet chain to make it look like a man is holding his girlfriend hostage, and the results are brilliant. The ‘Duet’ feature on TikTok is one of the most popular on the platform, offering users a way to simultaneously record their own video right next to someone else’s. It has been used to produce music collaborations for things like the sea shanty craze, reaction videos, and more, but people have now taken things to a new level by producing a huge chain of Duets from just one original video. The video in question was uploaded by Marcus Dipaola, who describes himself as a “real-life journalist anchoring news on TikTok for fun.” In the short clip, he introduces his girlfriend Brittany to his audience, which seems innocent enough, but the tightly cropped video had users imagining what could be happening off-screen. The first viral Duet appeared to be from user anarchosaladism, who duetted the video in a way that made it look like his arm holding a gun was attached to Marcus. https://www.tiktok.com/@anarchosaladism/video/6958736829965241606?is_copy_url=0&is_from_webapp=v1&sender_device=pc&sender_web_id=6891581267042141701 That got the ball rolling, and soon the Duet chain started to grow at a rapid rate. While it started as people adding in extra limbs, and building off the original video, the story quickly progressed into a hostage situation. People pretended to be police, and some even managed to set up an entire news crew, with a reporter, a boom mic, an autocue, and more. There are various different versions of the chain floating around TikTok with different elements and users involved, but each one is garnering hundreds and thousands of likes and millions of views. It even ended up going viral on Twitter, with one of the tweets about the thread getting over 500,000 likes, proving to be popular among users of multiple platforms. https://twitter.com/aiyanaish/status/1391053372371963904 The Duet chain continues to pick up speed as it moves around TikTok, with more aspects being added to it by the day. In many, it’s even hard to see the original video as a result of all the additions.

Both Kai and Speed have a penchant for pulling off wild antics on stream… but his Fourth of July celebration takes the proverbial cake of live-streamed shenanigans. Kai Cenat streams wild firework war inside his house To celebrate Independence Day, Kai Cenat and his buddies decided to have an all-out war with fireworks — inside their own home. The AMP house became a bedlam of chaos as Kai and company tore through their abode, roman candles in hand. The entire thing was filmed from a first-person view, too, making users feel as though they were playing an FPS game. The house was a complete disaster, with rooms full of smoke and tons of objects littering the ground. Of course, the fire alarms went off on account of all the smoke, prompting some members of the group to pull out fire extinguishers. Kai and friends armed themselves with whatever was available — be it trash can lids for shields or even gas masks to filter the smoke. It wouldn’t be a true fireworks war if the participants didn’t try to have their own home-grown version of the WWE, as the group even started wrestling each other in some sort of sudden, good-natured brawl. The entire ordeal was all in good fun… and luckily, it doesn’t seem as though anything caught on fire. This isn’t the first time a streamer has nearly set their house ablaze with fireworks. Last year, IShowSpeed lit off a massive Pikachu firework in his bedroom, prompting a visit from his local fire department… and he did it again this year, too.

Insane hammock bathtub goes viral as the internet hates it – Dexerto
Insane hammock bathtub goes viral as the internet hates it Instagram: prestigehousesA hammock bathtub made out of carbon fiber has gone viral across social media, but the internet absolutely hates the idea. Thanks to the rise of short-form video platforms such as TikTok, just about anything can go viral across social media in today’s world. Despite millions of videos being posted every day, the chances of going viral are greater than ever as billions of users consume videos across TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube. Carbon fiber hammock bathtub goes viral Realtor’s ‘prestigehouses’ on Instagram went viral with their post on January 29, showing off a luxury home that has a bathtub hammock made entirely out of carbon fiber hanging from the ceiling. According to the manufacturer’s website, the hammock bathtub will set you back roughly $37k. At the time of writing, the post has over 980k likes. But, despite all its glamour, it appears the internet isn’t too fond of the idea. In the replies to the post, many mocked the design for various reasons. Its practicality was the main talking point, explaining the design ill-thought-out. “This is absolutely worthless,” said one. “Can you imagine rolling around in that thing trying to wash yourself?” Some claimed they’d barely wash themselves given how shallow the tub looks, while others discussed how impractical it is as a whole. “This is not functional at all, it’s cute though,” one user wrote. “I can barely get out of a real hammock, and you made it slippery?” said another. “And if you wanna add some more hot water you’ve come to get OUT of the tub to turn on the valve and then hop BACK in,” a third user added.

He then jumps over a set of chairs with the weights in hand, upping the game. In a post shared on Twitter/X, a user wrote, “Do y’all understand how insane this is?’ To make things even more bizarre, he stacks a set of tissue boxes, which he proceeds to jump over, still holding the weights, gradually stacking them higher and higher as the video goes one. Insane deepfake sends Joe Rogan viral for promoting a product he’s never discussed – Dexerto
Insane deepfake sends Joe Rogan viral for promoting a product he’s never discussed YouTube: The Tim Dillon ShowAn internet scam featuring an AI version of controversial podcaster Joe Rogan has gone viral, terrifying the internet with its implications for the future of AI. AI has been taking over the internet recently, with chatbots like ChatGPT being widely discussed in the past few weeks. AI has started to spill more into the entertainment side of things too, with its recent invasion on Twitch in the form of nothingforever, a satirical parody of the 90’s show Seinfeld fully run by AI. Alongside this, AI has improved dramatically in recent times, with AI versions of streamers gaining traction as more and more of Twitch slowly becomes interested. Asmongold was one of the first to receive the AI treatment, and his AI counterpart left him utterly dumbfounded. Now, it appears that TikTok is also receiving AI treatment, as a Twitter post containing a TikTok scam went viral on February 12. The reason for its virality came through the method in which the ad used to convince viewers to buy the product, which was done through an AI version of controversial podcaster Joe Rogan. The ad sees Rogan discussing with another individual about libido supplements for men, in particular, a brand named “Alpha Grind”. Rogan spouts about the utility of the product, stating that it’s listed as one of the highest products on Amazon, quite literally saying “If you go to Amazon and type in Libido Booster for Men, you’re going to find it right at the top. Because guys are figuring out that it literally is increasing size and making a difference down there.” While the contents of the ad itself are rather hilarious, the fact is that Joe Rogan never spoke those words on his podcast. Instead, an AI-generated version of Joe Rogan’s voice was used for the advertisement, promoting the product for free without Rogan’s notice or consent. This has left the internet in a bit of a scared state. Twitter users have expressed their concerns about how far AI has come, as well as the accuracy with which Rogan was being portrayed in the ad. “We are all in trouble,” one user said. “That’s scarily real,” another added. “It’s definitely going to catch a lot of people.” However, some have taken it the other way, with one user even going so far as to improve further upon the ad. They attempted to make Rogan’s voice more authentic, to which Twitch streamer Hasan was not impressed, scolding them, “bro stop.” Time will only tell if AI continues to improve, but one thing for sure is that the internet is terrified of what may come in the future, considering the usage AI already has right now.

Insane Guitar Hero performance goes viral after jaw-dropping “speedrun” – Dexerto
Insane Guitar Hero performance goes viral after jaw-dropping “speedrun” A Guitar Hero player has gone viral for their insane ‘speed run’ at Awesome Games Done Quick, leaving viewers stunned and speechless at the ridiculous speed of his fingers. Awesome Games Done Quick, or AGDQ for short, is a part of the Games Done Quick events that take place on a yearly basis in order to raise some much-needed funds for different charities. As the name obviously gives away, the events are all about speedrunners getting games done as fast as they can – maybe setting a world record, breaking their own personal best, or just wooing the crowd. However, one of the most viral highlights to come out of the 2020 event wasn’t exactly a speedrun, but more an absolutely jaw-dropping display of finger speed. During the January 10 day of the event, the spotlight turned to Clone Hero – which, as the game might suggest, is pretty much a modded Guitar Hero that allows players to create ridiculously fast songs. With this, AGDQ turned the sticks over to FrostedGH for around an hour, as he wowed spectators with his speed and accuracy. Yet, it was his incredible run on Catalsycm – MetallicaAXS that set the internet alight. As Frosted entered one of the song’s most difficult segments, he burst through it with superb accuracy, racking up his combos as the on-screen accuracy meter continued to count up – eventually reaching 100%, meaning he hadn’t missed a note. However, while he was perfect on the perilous part – and, to be honest, the majority of the song as a whole – he didn’t manage to complete a perfect run through. Instead, as he finished up the song and the game assigned him a grade, Frosted hit 99% total accuracy and only missed nine notes from a total of 3141. As noted, the original performance from the event quickly went viral, finding its way to the BeAmazed subreddit, receiving more than 46,000 upvotes at the time of writing. Fans and interested onlookers will, undoubtedly, be looking forward to the next time that they can see someone like Frosted in action again. Who knows, maybe next time there will be a perfect playthrough.

Ingrid Andress checks into rehab after drunk National anthem performance – Dexerto
Ingrid Andress checks into rehab after drunk National anthem performance Instagram: thebigtimeonlineAfter a highly criticized performance at the MLB Home Run Derby, Ingrid Andress admitted she was drunk and will be checking herself into rehab. On Monday, July 15, the annual Major League Baseball Home Run Derby took place in Arlington, Texas. However, before the night commenced where Teoscar Hernández ended up winning, country singer and songwriter Ingrid Andress sang the National anthem. As she took the mic, Ingrid confidently sang, “Oh say can you see, by the dawn’s early light…” The crowd, however, wasn’t thrilled by her performance. Not only did the players and fans laugh as she continued to sing, but netizens took to the internet to roast her questionable performance. “My ears are bleeding. One of the worst National anthem renditions ever,” tweeted a viewer on X. “Did they just grab some random person walking by the stadium and ask if they could spare a couple of minutes?” asked another. However, Ingrid has been nominated for four Grammys. Those include Best New Artist, Best Country Song, and Best Country Album in 2021, as well as Best Country Duo in 2023. After seeing and hearing the feedback to her viral performance, the singer-songwriter took to Instagram to apologize and admit that she plans to check herself into rehab. “I’m not gonna bullsh*t y’all, I was drunk last night. I’m checking myself into a facility today to get the help I need,” she wrote. “That was not me last night. I apologize to MLB, all the fans, and this country I love so much for that rendition. I’ll let y’all know how rehab is. I hear it’s super fun. Xo, Ingrid.” While many people flooded her comments with their support, others agreed that she might not have a drinking problem, but only a “singing problem.” Ingrid has yet to detail how long she might be in rehab or how long her drinking has affected her career.

Inquisitor Ghost’s TikTok account disappears after CoD cosplayer supposedly dies – Dexerto
Inquisitor Ghost’s TikTok account disappears after CoD cosplayer supposedly dies TikTok: inquisitore3The TikTok account of late CoD cosplayer ‘Inquisitor Ghost’ has disappeared after the influencer supposedly took his own life during a live stream. Inquisitor Ghost is an Italian cosplayer best known for his rendition of Call of Duty’s Simon “Ghost” Riley, who wears a balaclava emblazoned with a skull. The cosplay is also seemingly combined with The Inquisitor from Star Wars. The cosplayer enjoyed a following of over 100,000 fans on TikTok before allegations emerged accusing him of grooming a minor. These accusations were later believed to be false. His last content on TikTok was made in late September. On October 9, it was reported that the cosplayer may have taken his own life during a live stream. In the stream, viewers could make out someone trying to break out of a window in a dimly lit room. After some commotion, a person could be seen performing CPR on someone just out of view. Although his death has not been confirmed, many viewers online believe that the cosplayer has died and a swath of videos and even petitions have been created memorializing the TikToker. Fans shocked after Inquisitor Ghost’s TikTok account disappears However, on October 12, fans noticed that they could no longer access Inquisitor Ghost’s TikTok account, which was called ‘inquisitore3.’ Now, viewers are met with a blank page that simply reads: “Couldn’t find this account.” Thus far, it’s unclear what caused this issue, but many viewers hypothesize it could be due to Inquisitor’s live stream that took place on October 9. TikTok’s Community Guidelines state that the app “does not allow showing, promoting, or sharing plans for suicide or self-harm.” Still others have questioned if TikTok deleted the account altogether, or if his account may have been deleted by a friend or family member. It’s important to note that Inquisitor’s death has not been confirmed, leaving fans seeking out more information until concrete news is shared.

Influencer who tried Valkyrae’s RFLCT gives damning review Macaiyla/Cloud9/ValkyraeCloud9 Twitch streamer Macaiyla was sent Valkyrae’s new skincare line RFLCT and shared a thoughtful response to the product amid the controversy surrounding it. 100 Thieves co-owner and YouTuber Valkyrae made headlines on October 19 when her new skincare brand RFLCT was launched, claiming to protect its users from “blue light pollution.” The product immediately received a wave of backlash, as many critics noted the lack of conclusive evidence suggesting blue light is damaging to the skin. When Twitch streamer Macaiyla was sent the RFLCT product to try out, she gave her thoughts on it as well as her opinion on the hate flying Valkyrae’s way and the streamers who publicly supported her. Macaiyla on RFLCT Macaiyla received the RFLCT package days after the announcement, stating that she will eventually give a full review of the product on her YouTube channel. As of now she wouldn’t recommend the product, and said: ” Obviously aside from the blue light issue, do I still think it’s worth buying?…no. But an honest review about it doesn’t hurt imo.” Valkyrae sent me a package from her new line RFLCT. I’d like to film a review of it and go over the ingredients and how the products are. Obviously aside from the blue light issue, do I still think it’s worth buying?…no. But an honest review about it doesn’t hurt imo- pic.twitter.com/tXE4K9mQnZ — C9 Caiyla (@macaiyla) October 21, 2021 The streamer said fans shouldn’t be harassing other streamers who supported Valkyrae throughout the debacle, and noted: “I don’t think it’s cool to shame any of her friends that support her. Not everyone knows about blue light (even myself). It’s a 2 year project and I think people just wanted to send congrats like normal people do…don’t think most influencers are trying to help promote a scam…” However, this doesn’t shield Valkyrae entirely from criticism. Macaiyla confessed, “I do think she deserves a bit of backlash on this project because it is a lie.” Macaiyla continued, “if you co-found anything, you are responsible for knowing about it no matter what.” She wrapped up her thoughts on a decisive note adding, “Let’s look at a positive here. She will help her younger audience get into skincare which to me is extremely important. But this could’ve also been a huge opportunity to sell sunscreen. It’s literally the most important product of all so it’s a bit sad that she didn’t include it.” Macaiyla’s verdict on RFLCT is quite damning, as she wouldn’t recommend it, but we’ll have to wait and see what’s in store for the product’s future as Valkrae’s team looks to fix the problem.

Influencers attend ‘tone deaf’ factory tour of Shein amidst backlash Instagram: danidmc / SheinShein has responded to allegations questioning the company’s ethics by inviting influencers on a factory tour. But instead of clearing the company’s name, their response was met with more backlash. Online fast fashion brand Shein is well-known for selling trendy clothes at rather cheap prices. But the brand has since been called out as unethical. Shein has faced many serious allegations over the years; from abusive working conditions to using hazardous materials. There are many reasons why buyers are choosing not to support the company anymore. In an attempt to put these allegations to rest, however, Shein recently invited influencers to a factory tour — only for it to catastrophically backfire. Influencer Dani, who goes by ‘danidmc’ on Instagram, was one of Shein’s attendees and originally spoke highly of the tour. Dani shared videos to TikTok of her getting ready and styling herself in Shein clothes, expressing her excitement over the tour. She continued to support the brand, claiming the factory presented no ethical issues. Despite many viewers calling out the problematic company and questioning Dani’s assessment, the influencer initially doubled down on her claims. “You would have done the exact same thing as me,” Dani said in a now-deleted video, defending her choice to attend the tour. But with the backlash mounting, Dani has now revoked her previous support for Shein and announced she “terminated” her relationship with the company. “I led us to the wrong path and I’m very aware of that now,” Dani told viewers in an Instagram post. “I am ready to take accountability and look at myself and look at my role in my industry.” Many fans have questioned the sincerity of Dani’s apology, while others are determined to ensure Shein remains in the spotlight for its controversial ethics. The YouTube star uploaded a video on November 11 which documented the insane prank. “This is the story how I tricked 24 thousand people into believing Ed Sheeran was at a boxing match!” he laughed. Influencer who created AI version of herself is trying to stop “sexual conversations” with subscribers – Dexerto
Influencer who created AI version of herself is trying to stop “sexual conversations” with subscribers Instagram: Caryn MarjorieA Snapchat influencer who made an AI version of herself has revealed she’s trying to stop subscribers from having “sexual conversations” with her AI, which it was not programmed to be able to do. It was recently revealed that Snapchat influencer Caryn Marjorie, 23, had created an AI version of herself as a way to earn money. The idea was that she would charge people $1 per minute to chat with the AI, saying she wanted it to be an “AI Girlfriend” for lonely people. However, the launch of the beta version didn’t go how Caryn planned it. She found that her AI has “gone rogue” as it had conversations of a more sexual nature with subscribers. She told Insider: “The AI was not programmed to do this and has seemed to go rogue. “My team and I are working around the clock to prevent this from happening again.” What is an AI girlfriend? As Artificial Intelligence (AI) becomes bigger and more popular, especially after ChatGPT took the internet by storm, people are becoming more creative with how to use it. One of these people is Caryn, who created an AI to resemble her as much as possible as a way to be there for her followers as their AI girlfriend. According to CarynAI’s website, more than 2,000 hours were spent designing and coding the real-life Marjorie’s voice, behaviors, and personality. This was later turned into an “immersive AI experience,” which it says is available anytime and feels as if “you’re talking directly to Caryn herself.” Taking to her Twitter, Caryn wrote: “CarynAI is the first step in the right direction to cure loneliness. Men are told to suppress their emotions, hide their masculinity, and to not talk about issues they are having. I vow to fix this with CarynAI. “I have worked with the world’s leading psychologists to seamlessly add CBT and DBT within chats. This will help undo trauma, rebuild physical and emotional confidence, and rebuild what has been taken away by the pandemic.” She went on to say that she wanted the AI service to be free for her “most dedicated” supporters. But this can only happen once the costs of running an Al become more cost-effective. She will instead give the users the option to leave a tip if they enjoy the service. Although Caryn wants to use AI to help her followers, it can also be used dangerously. A man in China was recently arrested and detained after utilizing ChatGPT to create a fake news story about a train crash.

Nikita Dragun is one of YouTube’s most celebrated transgender content creators. Known best for her humorous content and her work in the beauty scene, Nikita also gained notoriety for being open with her fanbase about her transition in several popular videos. Despite her general popularity and groundbreaking content on YouTube, Nikita has been the brunt of transphobia multiple times throughout her career — and this latest incident has sparked outrage on the internet. On June 15, a video from influencer Taylor Caniff circulated online, showing him making transphobic remarks against Dragun and claiming he’d outed her to several security guards at a venue they were both attending. View this post on Instagram The video went viral on Twitter, prompting Caniff to respond. At first, it seemed like he was unbothered by the criticism, posting a clip of himself fake crying to the song “Bad Day” by Daniel Powter. https://twitter.com/defnoodles/status/1404911146327441411 Later, Caniff uploaded a second video, claiming that some of his close “clout-ridden” friends were responsible for leaking the transphobic clip and that it had merely been a “joke” he’d meant to share with 140 people. https://twitter.com/defnoodles/status/1404930897011302403 Dragun was quick to respond to the situation via Twitter, reminding those involved of the very real danger she faces as a trans woman in her day-to-day life. “I fear even being around a man as a trans woman,” she wrote. “Let alone date one publicly. What I said was facts.” https://twitter.com/taylorcaniff/status/1404927019268284418 Since then, footage of Tana Mongeau alleging that Caniff was transphobic from three years ago has also surfaced online, further sparking outrage against an influencer who is decidedly not in the internet’s good graces.

Influencer Uncle Pizza saves woman by fighting her drunk boyfriend – Dexerto
Influencer Uncle Pizza saves woman by fighting her drunk boyfriend DexertoAn influencer by the name ‘Uncle Pizza’ is taking over social media after seemingly saving a woman from being beaten by her drunk boyfriend after giving him a few well-placed punches. ‘Uncle Pizza’ stepped into the boxing ring on April 22 at Misfits x DAZN Series 006, an event that saw a slew of high-profile influencer bouts — including JMX vs Le’Veon Bell. Uncle Pizza fought on the undercard versus YuddyGangTV, and ended up defeating his opponent by split-decision. This marked his second-ever boxing match after taking a previous fight in the IFL… but it definitely wouldn’t be the last time he threw hands. Over that weekend, a series of clips went viral showing Uncle Pizza squaring off with a shirtless, seemingly drunken man on the street at night. One of the two videos circling social media shows Pizza throwing a solid punch toward the man, sending him crumpling to the floor as a woman shouts off-camera. Uncle Pizza applauded for saving woman from her drunk boyfriend A second video shows a similar occurrence, with Pizza sending the man toppling to the ground after another well-placed punch to the face. The man attempts to get up, stumbling and slurring his words as the woman continues to shout off-camera. Another video shows the girlfriend thanking Uncle Pizza and his crew, saying, “You guys don’t have to do all this sh*t. …why are you guys so nice? You guys don’t have to be this nice.” “We’re all professionals,” someone says off-screen. The girlfriend then wipes at her face with a towel. That’s not all; another post shows a photo of the girlfriend’s face, boasting a battered and bloody left eye. It’s unclear exactly what went down during this altercation or what led to the fight. However, Uncle Pizza did retweet a post congratulating him for saving the woman, and clarified in another tweet that the woman screaming off camera in the first two clips “was another lady that didn’t know what was going on.” This is just the latest street brawl to take over social media after customers clashed with employees at McDonald’s in an eye-popping melee.

Influencer sparks backlash over revealing dress to wear at a funeral – Dexerto
Influencer sparks backlash over revealing dress to wear at a funeral TikTok: Edgylittlepieces and IstockphotoAfter showing off a revealing dress stylized to wear to funerals, a TikTok and Instagram influencer received backlash from viewers. Funerals are a period of grieving, during which visitors done all black to pay their respects. But TikTok account ‘edgylittlepieces’ believes the occasion should still be considered an opportunity to dress up and impress. “Hi girlies,” a model for edgylittlepieces states in the beginning of the video, greeting the TikTok account’s usual followers. “We still have some funeral dresses in stock!” the creator exclaims, while waving her hands in the air as if she were at a party. She’s shown wearing a black dress, sporting a massive gap in the middle of the dress which shows off cleavage and belly. “You can tighten it to make it super modest for the funeral, and loosen it back down for the afterparty.” Many users are confused as to the seriousness of the video. “Funeral? After party?” one user commented. “Is she joking?” another asked, genuinely baffled by the video. “They are gorgeous don’t get me wrong but if I wore any of them to a funeral, I’d be getting f**king buried too,” a critical viewer mentioned. The TikTok account is catered towards selling their clothing products, and the funeral dress was likely sold on their website for some time. In fact, the TikTok account created multiple videos attempting to push the funeral dresses, claiming the one in the video was their “most popular funeral dress”. The videos were all uploaded throughout the month of April, which was likely the period of time when they had the funeral dresses in stock. Many of the models other videos on the channel follow the same exact formula, where she states that the product is in stock and is very “modest”. The idea presented in the video may seem outlandish for many viewers, but the video theme and style are very consistent with the other content on the channel, which all aim to sell the products rather than create a gag.

Others were left in hysterics, and roasted the TikToker’s new eyebrows. “They put the eyebrows on backwards,” one quipped. “I mean, on the bright side Nike might sponsor you now,” another joked. “Lmao why are they both dabbing,” a third commented. “I think I finally found the square root,” someone else added. Influencer sparks backlash for judging men based on cars they drive TIKTOK: sj.larevitzearAn influencer has sparked backlash on TikTok, after posting a video of herself judging men based on the cars they have. TikToker SJ (sj.larevitzear), who has 86,000 followers on the platform, has been deemed a “red flag” after criticizing men and the cars that they drive. In a viral clip with over 500,000 views, the content creator said that “If a guy picks me up in certain cars on dates, I’m just not going.” The first car on SJ’s list of no’s was a Toyota Prius. “I know the type of person you are. If y’all drive these cars, you need to reevaluate yourself,” she explained. Next she showed a Honda Ridgeline, saying that “the only person that should drive this is my 90-year-old grandpa. That’s the only person.” Lastly, the TikToker showed a Jeep Gladiator, stating that those kinds of trucks made her laugh. “Like, why did you get that?” she asked before the video cut off. TikTok reacts to influencer’s car opinions Thousands of TikTok users flooded the comment section, criticizing SJ over her opinions. “She wants a Benz or Beemer but she has smart car attitude,” one user wrote. “Something tells me if you asked her what she brings to the relationship, she’d say ‘me,’” another quipped. “Next time when someone asks me what a red flag is I’m going to show this video,” a third commented. “I hope this is satire,” someone else said. There were a few, however, that found SJ’s video rather amusing. “I laughed so hard when you said ‘this pic makes me laugh,’” one user said. “Everyone’s being mean but you’re honestly funny,” another wrote. Influencer MMA fights will be “sprinkled” into Misfits Boxing cards – Dexerto
Influencer MMA fights will be “sprinkled” into Misfits Boxing cards MisfitsMisfits President Mams Taylor has revealed that long-awaited influencer MMA fights will be “sprinkled” into Misfits Boxing events in the future. Earlier in 2023, Misfits Boxing signed a long-term deal that will see them partner up with DAZN Boxing for the next 5 years. Since then, we’ve seen a ton of influencer boxing events filled with some of the internet’s biggest stars. It’s fair to say the scene has boomed in popularity, with events such as the Prime Card — where KSI touched gloves with Tommy Fury, while Logan Paul battled it out with Dillon Danis on the co-main event — selling millions in pay-per-view buys. As influencers have started putting on the boxing gloves for the last few years, many have wanted to take it a step further with MMA fights, with the likes of Jake Paul eyeing up future bouts in the octagon. Misfits Boxing to introduce MMA fights It seems we won’t have to wait much longer to see influencers fight in MMA. While Jake Paul has already signed a deal with the PFL to make his MMA debut, KSI’s Misfits Boxing plans to “sprinkle” MMA fights into their boxing cards. In a November 12 interview with Fred Beck, KSI’s manager and Misfits President Mams Taylor revealed that we’ll see some MMA in the future. “There will be some MMA sprinkled onto our cards,” said Mams. “Let’s see how it goes.” He added: “If it goes well, and people are excited about it, then maybe there’s more to come.” (Timestamp at 13:28) The Misfits President understandably kept most details tight-lipped, explaining that how we’ll see MMA fights incorporated into cards is yet to be decided. However, with ambitions to host an event every month throughout 2024, there’s certainly space to see a few MMA bouts.

Responding to a commenter hoping she “rests in peace”, Ernst said, “Guys, I didn’t die. Guys, I’m right here.” However, it doesn’t look like Ernst is taking the bizarre trend too seriously, ending her announcement by showing off her “really good frowny face” Viewers also didn’t take Ernst’s declaration seriously, responding to her video by continuing to leave heartfelt condolences and completely flooding her comment section. “Sometimes I can still hear her voice,” one person said. Influencer Mikaela Testa reveals dark side of OnlyFans: “I was being abused” Instagram: atispaul / Instagram: mikaelatestaTikToker and social media personality Mikaela Testa has accused her ex-boyfriend of abuse in an Instagram Q&A, warning others of the red flags to look out for. Influencer Mikaela Testa rose to fame in 2019 and makes a large sum of her income from OnlyFans, racking in an impressive estimated monthly income of $162,000. She also boasts 756,000 followers on Instagram and 2.4 million on TikTok, with many fans looking to the social media celebrity for advice on how to follow in her footsteps. Most recently, a fan took to Mikaela’s Q&A on Instagram to ask for advice on running an OnlyFans account, primarily used by sex workers for the distribution of pornography. And Mikaela didn’t hold back in her answer. A screenshot of the influencer’s story was posted to the drama account on Instagram, ‘teatoktalk’, in which Mikaela can be seen urging her followers not to get involved if they aren’t already. “What I will say is please be mindful if you have anyone around you (could be a [boyfriend], a friend, or just anyone) taking any [percentage] from you and manipulating you because that is trafficking and you are being exploited without even knowing,” Mikaela said. She went on to claim she had been a victim of trafficking herself in the past, writing, “I was in a toxic relationship for years where I had my [boyfriend] taking 50% of my income disguised as “managing” me but in reality, I was being abused.” “I see this happening so much these days and it’s really, really sad,” Mikaela concluded. She had previously posted a now-deleted TikTok claiming a large of her money had been stolen by an unspecified former partner. Fans have allegedly deduced that the ex in question is none other than Atis Paul, the brother of influencer Anna Paul. “The Pauls aren’t good people… they claimed to be extremely poor growing up yet they had designer clothes and [jewelry] in high school [and] I’m from their hometown and they lived in a wealthy area,” one commenter alleged in support of Testa. Influencer in viral plane video claims she disembarked flight by choice – Dexerto
Influencer in viral plane video claims she disembarked flight by choice Unsplash: Chris Brignola / TMZAn “Instagram famous” woman filmed disembarking a plane after getting into a verbal spat has claimed she left the flight by choice. Morgan Osman made headlines after a video showed the Former Bad Girls Club star disembarking a plane following an argument among passengers. Osman declared herself “Instagram famous” as she exited the flight and called the other flyers “f****** bums”, resulting in uproar online. Now, she’s finally dishing out about what really happened in an interview with TMZ, and according to Osmon, she was never booted from the plane at all. “Obviously, things have transpired before the cameras rolled and we all know that. So I feel like it’s very unfair that people are attacking me when I was provoked and reacted,” Osmon said. Instead of the narrative painted by the clip circulating online, Osmon claims she decided to leave the flight by choice after a “very special” woman “came in so hot” over a seat allocation misunderstanding. “She sat down next to me and she got on Facetime and she’s making fun of me and I said, ‘Morgan this is not the flight for you… Just get off the flight because I’m [going to] knock her the f*** out’,” Osmon recounted. It was only after she decided to remove herself from the situation that other passengers “whipped out their cameras — because then they know it’s going to be a show.” “I’m the sweetest girl; nobody films the good sh** I do for people. So, whatever. And it wouldn’t have been a sensation if it wasn’t a sensational 10-second clip,” Osmon said. “I don’t feel bad about any of it. I’ll be the crazy plane lady. I don’t care.” As for the “f****** bums”, Osmon had this message, “Don’t provoke me, you’ll get a reaction.” Check out all the latest entertainment news on our page here.

It’s undeniable Kim Kardashian is a massive influential figure. With millions of followers and multiple brands under her name, the celebrity has become a conversation topic among people all across the world. TikTok influencer Sonya Sed is often mistaken for Kim Kardashian, an occurrence which happens both online and offline. But despite Kim Kardashian’s reputation, the content creator dislikes being associated with the star. Sonya Sed creates a plethora of content, covering topics in the realm of fashion, makeup, and fitness. On TikTok, she’s managed to gain over 350,000 followers, speaking volumes towards her hard work as a creator. She made a video in response to a comment that stated, “there was not a doubt in my mind that this was Kim K until I saw the username.” In the video, Sonya Sed proceeds to declare her name, race, and a strong statement of independence. “Me being my own person. In a TikTok clip with two million views, content creator Donny Skipper shared a tour of his “luxury” apartment complex, highlighting pools of water in the entryway, faulty elevators and stowaway bats. “What I love about The Lofts is how the front door sometimes doesn’t work when you put your key in it,” he said in the video. “Sometimes you do get little spillages around, but that’s luxurious, it keeps your feet clean. Even the stickiness, it makes sure you don’t slip,” Donny continued, before heading to two sets of elevators that were both out of order. After finding a working elevator in the building, he spotted a live bat hanging upside down in the corner. “Hey look, I got a bat in the elevator right now,” he said, before cutting to a shot of bats flying through the hallway. “I love the bats that live in my luxurious apartment, they’re so awesome and they keep things very luxurious.” TikToker evicted after exposing poor housing conditions Danny went on to ‘expose’ the “luxury” NY apartment in a series of now-viral videos. The TikToker told BuzzFeed that he’s lived in this building with his family for three years and been a reliable tenant, but several problems with the facilities prompted him to start making videos. “After a year of noticing things seemed to continuously be falling apart in the complex — and a year of being dismissed by my corporate landlord — I decided it was time to share my experience,” he told the outlet. Danny said that his landlord hasn’t directly communicated with him about his TikToks yet. “So far they have only dropped off a letter saying they are not renewing my lease and I need to leave by May. Now we have to find a new place in a very short time frame.” “Anyone who follows my channel knows that I have a family — a wife and a toddler — and this corporation is forcing us out of our home. All I did was speak up about unsafe conditions.” In one of his latest videos, Danny told viewers that he’s planning to pursue a class action lawsuit against his apartment management company.

Influencer exposes the difference between TikTok and YouTube payouts – Dexerto
Influencer exposes the difference between TikTok and YouTube payouts YouTube: Erika KullbergErikakullberg shared how much she earned on all social media platforms, comparing the payouts and of TikTok and YouTube, shocking millions of viewers. Content creation has become a massive industry. What was once seen as simply a hobby years ago evolved into a behemoth of a career field, with an enormous amount of potential income. However, the amount that influencers earn is usually not made published, making it difficult for the average viewer to realistically gauge a content creator’s income. Erika Kullberg reveals her TikTok and YouTube payouts In a viral TikTok video uploaded by Erika Kullberg, the influencer revealed the payouts she received from various social media platforms. “Here is how much every social media platform has paid me with 17 million followers,” she stated, introducing the premise of the video. As of the videos’ uploaded date of October 6, she had 452 million lifetime views and over nine million followers on TikTok. She earned anywhere from $2 to $30 each day on the platform, for a total sum of $3255 in payouts from TikTok. According to Kullberg, this amount is tiny compared to her YouTube earnings. “YouTube I had 750,000 subscribers. Now YouTube pays very differently depending on if it’s a short video versus a long video,” she mentioned before revealing her YouTube earnings. A short, 29 second video with over 1.8 million views only earned her around $3. Considering the massive views, this amount was surprisingly low. For a long twelve minute video, which stacked 2.3 million views, YouTube paid her $35,000, which shocked her TikTok viewers. “I can’t talk right now I’m making a YouTube video,” one user jokingly commented. Made evident in this TikTok video, popular influencers have a very lucrative career path, and therefore don’t necessarily need a “real job”.

And in society, it’s normal for people to have clear skin, so my aim is for people to be aware be aware,” she shared. “I’m advertising on TikTok about this, ‘just because you got blemishes on the outside doesn’t mean you’re not beautiful’,” Eva stated, wonderfully wording her underlying message for her TikTok. However, in 2018, she claims an incident occurred that ultimately ended her good vibes with David Dobrik’s friend group. On November 4, the influencer opened up about the occurrence in a series of Instagram stories after a fan asked why she’d broken up with Vulpis. She claimed that, during her time hanging out with David Dobrik’s group of friends in 2018, an unnamed Vlog Squad member had stepped on her foot twice, breaking it. Annelise JR claims Vlog Squad pressured her not to speak out Annelise alleged that she was “pressured” not to say anything to anyone, saying the situation caused her to become depressed and claiming she developed PTSD. “That incident literally ruined my life and I have chronic pain every day,” she wrote. “Multiple surgeries, two hours of physical therapy a day. Simple things like sitting in a chair can cause bad pain.” Annelise JR suffers from lympheneda and May-Thurner syndrome, a rarely-diagnosed condition that causes iliofemoral deep vein thrombosis (a type of blood clot) in the legs. Marie claims that her May-Thurner’s is linked to her broken foot. That’s not all; she also alleged that doctors had told her she can no longer conceive due to her condition. However, Annelise said she will not reveal the identity of the person who broke her foot, claiming that she does not want them to get harassed and that the incident was merely an accident. This isn’t the first time she has made these allegations; she also broke the news during a Twitch stream in July 2021, around the time that she and Vulpis parted ways. Marie claimed that she had received death threats as a result of their breakup. Annelise JR’s newest comments come months after her initial stream about the situation, following a slew of allegations against David Dobrik and the Vlog Squad.

Influencer breaks down in tears over backlash to her baby’s unique name – Dexerto
Influencer breaks down in tears over backlash to her baby’s unique name TIKTOK: lianajadeeTikToker Liana Jade was left in tears after her baby boy’s unique name sparked backlash on social media. British TikTok couple Liana Jade and Connor Darlington named their eight-month-old baby boy Koazy, pronounced Cozy. However, Liana recently became aware of an episode of ‘The Unplanned Podcast‘ by couple Matt and Abby Howard, in which they discussed unusual baby names. While the podcasters didn’t mention Koazy by name, they deemed unusual monikers “ridiculous” and “out of control.” Abby said it was a “red flag” to give a child a name that doesn’t already exist, and added that “it might not be the flex you think it is.” The couple left the comments section of their video open, which enabled others to blast Liana and Connor’s choice. As a result, Liana took to TikTok to address the backlash and explain why she named her baby Koazy. TikToker in tears over backlash to baby’s name The teary-eyed young mom said she was aware the name wouldn’t be everyone’s “cup of tea,” but she thought it’s “cruel” to allow people who don’t like her baby’s name to “rip at it.” “People have said we called him Koazy because he was cosy in the womb,” she said. “But no. It was a name we already had and as I was getting so heavily pregnant, people were saying ‘he’s so cosy in your belly.’ It confirmed to us that is what we should name him… we were like ‘Oh my God, it’s meant to be’.” Liana also revealed that opening the comments to allow others to mock their baby name had “really upset” her. “Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. But it’s just different when there’s this comment section open on such a big influencer’s video of people, fully grown adults, just sat there slandering my baby’s name. “I think it’s quite cruel – and if I had posted that video personally, I think I would have been very mindful of who was being named and how that can have an effect on other people.” Fans of Liana quickly flooded the comment section, telling her they loved the unique name. “It’s a beautiful name and it is YOUR baby’s name, he suits it so much,” one wrote. “Awh don’t cry we all love the name Koazy,” another said. Matt and Abby Howard have since turned the comments of their podcast off.

Influencer claims she ate her own knee cartilage in bolognese after surgery – Dexerto
Influencer claims she ate her own knee cartilage in bolognese after surgery YouTube: Club 113A Spanish influencer, Paula Gonu, revealed that she and her boyfriend ate her own knee cartilage after undergoing knee surgery. Humans eating part of their own body is not a new phenomenon, but that doesn’t make it any less controversial. Although uncommon, people who have just given birth have been known to eat their own placentas for all the nutrients it has. But fans were shocked when one of Spain’s biggest Instagram influencers Paula Gonu, 30, opened up about putting her knee cartilage in a bolognese before eating it with her boyfriend. Appearing on the Club 113 podcast, Paula talked about why she chose to eat the cartilage. Why did Paula eat her cartilage after surgery? Opening up about her surgery, Paula said she chose to stay awake during her surgery and use local anesthetic. She then went on to have her doctor explain what he was doing as she watched on a screen. At the end, the doctor asked her if she wanted to keep the cartilage he’d removed. Paula replied: “I told him ‘Yes’ and he put what he removed into a small container like those used for urine samples. “He put it in alcohol so it would stay that way for as long as I wanted. A week later, I was with my partner at the time, having a jokey conversation. “I told him I wanted to eat it because it was part of me and I had to put it back in my body.” She went on to explain how she had made a bolognese sauce which she then put the cartilage in before she and her boyfriend ate it. “I wanted to be able to say in my head that I’ve eaten a piece of my own meniscus,” she added. Paula went on to justify her decision by saying that everyone has eaten the bones, cartilage and body parts of “worse animals” so eating her own meniscus should not be frowned upon. Fans are not sure what to think about it As Paula discussed her choice on the podcast, fans couldn’t help but to take to the comment section to discuss what they’d just heard. One person wrote: “I’m Italian Near Bologna How did you put The Meniscus in The Ragu?” A second person said: “My stomach hurt now it hurts more thank you.” “What did it taste like?” another asked, to which the podcasters replied: “Like chicken.” However, some seemed skeptical as they wrote: “I don’t really believe it hahaha” Another wrote: “It must be a joke.” For all the latest entertainment news and updates, be sure to check out Dexerto’s full coverage here.

Influencer apologizes for past racist tweets during her honeymoon – Dexerto
Influencer apologizes for past racist tweets during her honeymoon TikTok: lundenandolivia, liasewaysTikTok star Lunden Stallings has been forced to make an apology video to her fans while on her honeymoon with her wife after her some of her past, racist tweets caused a stir on Reddit. Lunden Stallings, 26, is a TikTok star who’s known for showing off her lavish lifestyle with her wife Olivia Bennett on their joint TikTok account. However, a post about Stallings was recently spread on Reddit after someone found tweets made by the influencer which included her casual use of slurs, just days after she tied the knot with Bennett. The tweets appear to be dated between 2012 to 2014, with Stallings, a white woman, repeatedly using the n-word dozens of times in casual posts. “There’s been some tweets of mine that I learned about yesterday, back 10 to 12 years ago, that had resurfaced. That’s not who I am, who I was as a teenager,” Stallings said in a TikTok story apology video. She continued: “I just want to acknowledge and recognize that I am completely and utterly disgusted and ashamed and honestly embarrassed at how normal it was for me to speak that way on Twitter and for my friends and I to address each other that way or for me to sing along in rap songs. “That’s nobody else’s fault but mine.” Chiming in, Bennett told followers of their shared TikTok account that it was a “really unfortunate and disgusting and ignorant mistake” that her wife made. “You were a kid and you were ignorant and it was wrong and shameful, and it’s so embarrassing,” Bennett added, stating that Stallings past tweets are “not a reflection of [her] character” and how she and “so many people” know Stallings. However, Stallings’ apology video only garnered further backlash, with many claiming it was inappropriate to address such a scandal via her TikTok story, which disappears after 24 hours. Stalling and Bennett’s shared TikTok account, which has more than 701,000 followers, does at the time of writing not have any video addressing the apology on their profile page. Fans take to Reddit to discuss Lunden Stallings’ apology video The screenshots of Stallings’ old tweets were shared in a Reddit post, which quickly received dozens of comments and upvotes. One person commented on the post and said: “She was more than old enough to know better here, coupled with the fact that she had legit HUNDREDS of tweets dropping the N word.” “I’m so shocked omg,” a second person wrote. Another person said: “This is absolutely vile. I never heard of her before but this person must be canceled on all platforms and should be held accountable.”

Influencer boxing matches we want to see in 2024 – Dexerto
Influencer boxing matches we want to see in 2024 Instagram: misfitsboxing2023 was a tremendous for influencer boxing, but as we come to the end of the year it’s time to look ahead. Here are our picks for the influencer boxing matches we want to see in 2024. Right at the start of 2023, KSI’s Misfits Boxing signed a five-year deal with DAZN in January. Subsequently, we saw more events than ever before, with Misfits hosting a staggering seven cards throughout the year. Not only that, but we also saw Jake Paul take part in his fair share of fights, notably stepping into the ring with Tommy Fury, Nate Diaz, and most recently, Andre August. As we look forward to the year ahead, here are our picks for the influencer boxing matches we’d like to see happen in 2024. 5. AnEsonGib vs King Kenny As aforementioned, KSI’s Misfits had one hell of a ride in 2023, putting on seven events with some stacked cards across the UK and the US. Although, Misfits wasn’t the only organizer putting influencers in the ring. With the world of influencer boxing on the rise, Kingpyn stepped into the game with ‘High Stakes’, consisting of eight male and eight female fighters competing in a tournament-style bracket. It came down to AnEsonGib and King Kenny to make it through to the final round of the tournament. Ultimately it was a fight we never got to see, as the Kingpyn finals appears to have been postponed indefinitely after the company allegedly lost $4 million from their first event. There’s just no telling who will come out on top of their bout if it happens. 4. Elle Brooke vs Astrid Wett Easily two of the most-popular female fighters in the scene, Elle Brooke and Astrid Wett is a fight we’d love to see in 2023. The two social media stars both have a similar amount of experience in the ring, and, besides Brooke’s loss to Jully Poca in her latest bout, both fighters have walked out on top and in pretty convincing fashion too. With Wett currently holding the Misfits Flyweight title and Brooke getting ready to touch gloves with AJ Bunker for her Women’s Middleweight Championship belt, a potential fight with two titles on the line could happen at some point. 3. Deji vs Ed Matthews Deji’s path in influencer boxing hit some lows before he bounced back. After multiple losses, he finally managed to bag his first win against Fousey in August 2022, before even giving boxing legend Floyd Mayweather a good run for his money in an exhibition match the following October. On the other hand, TikTok star Ed Matthews has proven himself worthy of a big fight. The 21-year-old stepped in on short notice to fight on the Prime Card and made light work of rapper Swarmz — whom Deji faced earlier in 2023. It’s an obvious matchup that’s destined to happen at some point. 2. Jake Paul vs Tommy Fury II Arguably one of the biggest fights of 2023, Jake Paul finally touched gloves with Tommy Fury after years of back and forth, and several canceled fights. This was time for Jake Paul to finally silence the haters or prove them right. Stepping into the ring with Tommy was ‘The Problem Child’s’ first real test in the eyes of many, with his opponent coming from a prestigious family of professional boxers. Ultimately, it was Fury who walked out on top of the fight, where after eight rounds he took home the win by a split decision — handing Jake Paul his first loss. A rematch would definitely be welcomed by fans, and with Paul hungry to redeem himself, we could certainly see the two throw down again in 2024. 1. KSI vs Jake Paul A rivalry that has gone on for over half a decade. Of course, we’re talking about KSI vs Jake Paul. Fans have waited years for the two to step in the ring and settle their differences. And at the beginning of the year, the fight looked closer than ever, with them both publicly agreeing to go blow-for-blow at some point in 2023. Nevertheless, as we close out the year the ultimate showdown between the two YouTube stars is now nowhere in sight — even despite the raging demand from theirs and even some boxing purists. However, that’s not to say we can’t see the fight in 2024. Yet, one thing is for certain, fans won’t put it to rest until they face off once and for all.

Influencer accuses Nessa Barrett of copying her music video idea – Dexerto
Influencer accuses Nessa Barrett of copying her music video idea Instagram: nessabarrettInfluencer and filmmaker Alex Suljic has accused singer-songwriter Nessa Barrett of copying her work, amid the release of Barrett’s album Young Forever. Nessa Barrett rose to prominence on the viral video app TikTok, after consistently uploading clips of her music. Now, with over 1 million YouTube subscribers and 19 million TikTok followers, Barrett released her debut album Young Forever on October 14, 2022. To accompany its release, multiple songs from the album have lyric visualizer videos, sporting eerie imagery. While fans of Barrett are praising her artistry, filmmaker Alex Suljic has accused Barrett of stealing her work. Nessa Barrett accused of “copy and pasting” new music video Alex Suljic, sister of God of War’s Sunny Suljic, claimed via Instagram that Barrett had lifted aspects of work for Young Forever’s marketing. “Several people have sent this to me and I thought it was kinda funny,” Suljic said in her Instagram Story. “Just pay me to make your video and I’ll make it different and better. SMH,” she continued. Suljic explained, “that video was made almost 2 years ago with zero budget, my camera and a few friends so I imagine what I could’ve done with a budget.” “All I’m saying is, it just sucks how bigger creators literally copy and paste from smaller creatives and just beef it up with a higher budget and don’t give credit.” Suljic specifically posted screenshots of Barrett’s videos for Tired of California and Dear God. Since their release and Suljic’s accusations, Barrett has yet to acknowledge her claims. It certainly isn’t the first time that another creator has accused Barrett of copying them. At the start of October, Kendall Monroe apologized to Barrett after labeling her as a “copycat.”

Influencer Alabama Barker apologizes to Iggy Azalea over “insensitive” TikTok – Dexerto
Influencer Alabama Barker apologizes to Iggy Azalea over “insensitive” TikTok Instagram: thenewclassic, alabamaluellabarkerAlabama Barker has issued an apology to rapper Iggy Azalea after uploading a video with influencer Jodie Woods, using audio of Azalea, speaking about a difficult time during her relationship with Playboi Carti. Iggy Azalea and Playboi Carti have been in an off-again, on-again relationship for some time now, but things got a bit heated in December 2020 after the ‘Fancy’ rapper accused her man of missing the birth of their son, Onyx. Rather than witnessing a once-in-a-lifetime moment, Carti allegedly took a trip to Philadelphia to play video games with fellow rapper Lil Uzi — and even threw a party to celebrate his new album with his side chick instead of spending Christmas with his new family. “This man didn’t even come to see his son be born,” Azalea claimed. “He went to Philly to play the PlayStation with Lil Uzi. He thought that was more important than seeing his son be born. And I had a scheduled C-Section.” Iggy Azalea wasn’t happy with the viral TikTok remix It’s obvious that this is a sore spot for Azalea… so when TikTokers Alabama Barker (daughter of Blink 182 drummer Travis Barker) and Jodie Woods made a TikTok set to a remix of the ‘Black Widow’ rapper’s heartfelt testimony, naturally, she wasn’t pleased about it. “Y’all weird as f**k for this,” she commented on the TikTok. View this post on Instagram Luckily, it seems that Barker has realized the touchy subject was not appropriate for a dance video. She uploaded a TikTok apologizing for her misstep a day later. “Sorry about that Iggy video!” She captioned the clip. “We understand it was insensitive.” A slew of fans also called out the TikTok duo, as well as whomever had made the remix of Azalea’s interview clip, with one commenter specifically calling the song “disrespectful.”

Infamous McKamey Manor haunted house owner arrested: Controversy explained – Dexerto
Infamous McKamey Manor haunted house owner arrested: Controversy explained Facebook: Russ McKamey / Unsplash: Nathan WrightRuss Alan McKamey, the man behind America’s most controversial haunted house attraction, was arrested in 2024 on numerous charges. Here is all we know. Attempting to replicate survival horror-style events, the infamous McKamey Manor opened back in 2001. It has since earned the reputation of America’s most extreme haunted house, has been relocated multiple times, and requires a liability waiver for contestants to compete. Many consider the attraction legal physical and psychological torture, and both the Manor and Russ himself have been subject to significant criticism and scrutiny over the years. However, things took a more serious turn in July 2024, when Russ was arrested on charges of attempted second-degree murder, rape, and domestic assault. Here is the entire controversy explained. The infamous McKamey Manor that no one can defeat Open for over two decades, no one has yet to succeed in completing the infamous haunted house. A tour lasts anywhere from eight to 10 hours, though many participants end it early due to the horrific experiences involved. While initially there was none, Russ eventually introduced safewords for participants to end the tour immediately. However, there has been controversy surrounding whether these safewords are always respected. Completing the tour offers an impressive cash prize that currently sits at $20,000, but the fact that no one has ever managed to do so has left many suspecting Russ does not have the funds available. Instead, the tour simply increases pressure and drags on until the participant taps out. Every failed challenge also results in a reduction in the prize. Throughout the tour, participants may be physically assaulted, waterboarded, drugged, bound and gagged, have their hair cut or shaven, tattooed, have fingernails removed, be forced to eat and drink unknown substances, have their teeth pulled, and more. The forms of physical and psychological torture have left many baffled over the tour’s legality, though this has to do with the 40-page waiver signed before entering the attraction. Despite the risks, Russ claims there is a waitlist of more than 24,000 people. Many journalists and true crime documentaries have been made about the McKamey Manor over the years and there have been numerous instances of police involvement, from deputies being called to the site to criminal investigations. The Manor was featured in 2017’s Haunters: The Art Of The Scare, Netflix’s 2018 series Dark Tourist, and was at the center of Hulu’s 2023 documentary Monster Inside: America’s Most Extreme Haunted House. Notably, Hulu’s documentary sparked an investigation from Tennessee Attorney General Jonathan Skrmetti. But his request for more information about Russ’ attraction resulted in the McKamey Manor owner filing a 32-page lawsuit in late March 2024. According to Russ, Skrmetti’s investigation violates his First, Fourth, Fifth, and Fourteenth Amendment rights. Russ McKamey is arrested and charged Despite attempts to take down the Manor proving futile, Russ was arrested on July 19, 2024, after allegedly assaulting his girlfriend. Initially booked on a $1,000 bond, this number was significantly increased to $100,000 after further charges were filed. Russ is now being accused of attempting to murder his girlfriend on more than one occasion by strangulation. Both times, his girlfriend is said to have lost consciousness, and Russ allegedly raped her during the second attack. “I know everyone has lots of questions concerning all the recent craziness,” Russ wrote on Facebook on July 24, only days after his arrest. He went on to deny all allegations, including a quote from attorney Davis Griffin that called the charges “fabricated”. Russ continued, “Here’s the bottom line that works for me. Always try to do the right thing, and simply tell the truth. This is what I always try to do, and hopefully, everything will turn out just fine.” He had his first court appearance on August 6 and appears to have posted bail, continuing to make numerous posts on Facebook reviewing movies and even going live. Conditions of the bond included Russ being forced to surrender all weapons, wearing a GPS monitoring device, and not making contact with the victim. We’ll be sure to update you here as the case continues to unfold.

Infamous Willy Wonka event gets stage musical & debuts demo tracks – Dexerto
Infamous Willy Wonka event gets stage musical & debuts demo tracks YouTube: Willys Candy SpectacularThe disastrous viral Willy Wonka experience is hitting the stage with a satirical musical as its premiere date and demo tracks are announced. ‘Willy’s Chocolate Experience’ was anything but the “chocolate fantasy” promised and went viral after it left children in “tears”. Ultimately shut down when police were called, the infamous event was slammed by multiple participating actors who claimed they had not been paid and hailed it as the “worst gig ever”. While the organizer and founder of the Willy Wonka Glasgow experience claimed the event “ruined” his life, it didn’t take long for the experience to be capitalized on. Originally, there were rumors of a movie being made, but in the end, it was a stage play that came to fruition. ‘Willy’s Candy Spectacular: A Musical Parody’ was first announced in March and will star Full House’s John Stamos as a headliner. The satirical comedy inspired by the failed pop-up will debut at the “world-renowned” Edinburgh Fringe Fest at the Pleasance King Dome from August 9 to 26. While the original event may not have hit the mark, the musical’s creative team boasts an impressive resume from High School Musical to Once Upon a Time. To hype fans up, the musical’s official YouTube page has already released three demo tracks that are expected to make the final show. The first sees John Stamos take the lead and perform ‘Willy’s Candy Spectacular,’ a “post-apocalyptic opening number” that describes how the original infamous event in Glasgow led to “the downfall of civilization.” There is also ‘Where Dreams Go To Fly’, an “uplifting number” that encapsulates the “unbridled optimism of the impresario.” Emmy-award winners Doug Rockwell and Tova Litvin, the writers behind the song, stated, “There’s such a fine line between soaring optimism and crushing defeat. In our song, we’ve tried to capture the range of emotions one goes through when creating art, even when that art is mind-numbingly awful.” The final demo track released so far is ‘Dreamed To Dare,’ which follows excited attendees as they prepare to enter ‘Willy’s Chocolate Experience’. In a surprising twist, actress Kirsty Paterson who was cast as the original event’s Oompa Loompa makes a cameo, alongside TikTok’s Sharpe Family Singers. More songs will be released leading up to the show’s debut, and a timeline can be found on the official site showing the dates for all 16 songs. Whether the parody musical does better than the experience that inspired it will have to be seen, however, there is no doubt the production quality is already miles better.

However, he offered to help Summit find his own settings: “We’re gonna lead you to our settings, and you’ll tell us whether you like it or not. You’ll end up having your own personal settings.” The duo went on to work on their settings together before hopping into a Ferrari race with Summit’s chat rooting him on. While it’s unknown what motivated the creator to check out racing games on stream, it seems like he is enjoying it quite well.

Indiefoxx hits out at Twitch after copping “excessive” ban during hot tub stream – Dexerto
Indiefoxx hits out at Twitch after copping “excessive” ban during hot tub stream Twitter: IndiefoxxPopular Just Chatting star Indiefoxx has slammed Twitch, calling the Amazon-owned platform out on social media after she was slapped with what she believes is an “excessive” ban during one of her most recent hot tub streams. Twitch’s bizarre new hot tub meta has sparked a heated debate that is dividing the community. In essence, the Twitch rules generally don’t allow streamers to wear revealing clothes. However, they allow “contextual exceptions,” such as swimwear at the beach, swimming pool, or hot tub. As a result, we’ve seen a surge of hot tub streamers coming up with creative ways to stand out among the rest. Indiefoxx is one of those streamers. However, Twitch banned her earlier today. It’s the fourth one she’s had to serve. But this time, it wasn’t because of her clothes. It was for something completely different, and she feels like it’s undeserved. ❌ Twitch Partner “”Indiefoxx”” (@indiefoxxlive) has been banned! ❌https://t.co/jI01K4qnnK#twitch #ban #fourthban #partner #twitchpartner 🚳 — StreamerBans (@StreamerBans) April 7, 2021 Indiefoxx posted a screenshot of the email she received from Twitch on social media. It revealed she was banned for “selling or attempting to sell Twitch features or services such as follows, subscriptions, hosts, etc.” It isn’t the reason most people expected. However, it seems like she didn’t see it coming, too, and thinks it’s a bit harsh. “I’m really confused? 3 days seems excessive?” she wrote. “It’s not in the community guidelines. But uhh, I didn’t do any of these? Maybe VIP for 100gifters, but That isn’t against the TOS. VIP is not a mod; it’s a vanity badge dedicated to top donors? Based on this. I’m confused.” https://twitter.com/indiefoxxlive/status/1379651817085181952?s=20 Twitch hasn’t responded yet. But while some people feel like she deserves it, many others have been pouring in with their support. Either way, unless the ban gets overturned, she’ll have no choice but to take a three-day break and try and figure out what it was all about. Indonesia’s Steam ban leaves Hololive, NIJISANJI VTubers stranded – Dexerto
Indonesia’s Steam ban leaves Hololive, NIJISANJI VTubers stranded YouTube: Ayunda Risu / YouTube: Kobo Kanaeru / SteamA new law in Indonesia has shut the country off from major gaming services like Steam, Origin, and Epic Games over the weekend. The ban has left major VTubers from Hololive and NIJISANJI stranded, requiring massive schedule reshuffles. The Indonesian government blocked a number of websites from operating in the country — including Steam, Origin, and Epic Games — via a new licensing law. The websites were shut down for more than 270 million people after failing to register under the new rules which allow authorities to take down unlawful content on digital platforms within four hours if necessary. While it’s had a wide-reaching impact on the entire country as a whole, some of VTubing’s biggest names found themselves scrambling to rejig their schedules, and even figure out new ways of streaming due to VTuber Studio being locked behind Steam. Indonesia is one of the largest VTuber markets in the world, with NIJISANJI and Hololive hosting numerous generations totaling more than 20 talents in the region. Hololive’s Airani Iofifteen just screamed out “God” in Bahasa Indonesia on Twitter after the block dropped, while NIJISANJI’s Siska Leontyne said she could get around the ban with a few settings changes: “I just wanted to test [if] my DNS was working or not, so basically I’m fine.” Ayunda Risu, however, was devastated she had to cancel her Euro Truck Simulator streams: “I can still access Steam on offline mode but at what cost?” Instead of licking their wounds though, the Indonesian talents adapted. Some gaming companies weren’t banned due to abiding by the new registration rules, including Riot Games. This led to plenty of Wild Rift streams over the weekend from the likes of Kobo Kanaeru. Monster Hunter Rise was also popular as the game’s servers were not blocked in the South East Asian country. As for when Hololive and NIJISANJI talents will be able to jump back onto Steam? That all depends when Valve registers through the government’s new laws — so it might be some time yet.

Indiefoxx stripped of Twitch partnership after her sixth ban of the year – Dexerto
Indiefoxx stripped of Twitch partnership after her sixth ban of the year Twitch/IndiefoxxControversial Twitch streamer Indiefoxx has been stripped of her platform partnership following the star’s sixth channel ban in as many months, most of which have been related to the infamous hot tub and ASMR metas. Jenelle ‘Indiefoxx’ Dagres has exploded in popularity on Twitch early this year. In the past few weeks, the entertainer has been piggybacking off the Amazon-owned platform’s controversial hot tub and ASMR streams to more than double her viewer count and subscribers. In just the last month alone, the 26-year-old has skyrocketed to more than two million followers, including a surge of 1.2 million new fans since May 27. At the moment, she gains up to 8k followers every day. With her explosive Twitch fame, however, has come a much closer eye on her content. Indiefoxx’s streams often court an “NSFW” element, especially in recent months; the star has taken to streaming in a hot tub in her bikini or, in the past week, lying spread on her bed for ASMR broadcasts that rake in, on average, around 13,000 plus viewers at any one time. Those streams saw her banned for three days from June 19-22 last week. Now, the popular Twitch star has been whacked with yet another suspension. On top of that, the controversial streamer has also been stripped of her Twitch partnership privileges. This means she will no longer be able to monetize her streams. She also loses access to the platform’s subscription services. Twitch has yet to formally comment on the star’s ban, but RootOnline confirmed the platform’s code now reads “false” for her partner status. This latest Twitch ban is Indiefoxx’s sixth of the year. It is Dexerto’s understanding that most Twitch streamers, partnered or otherwise, are often permanently barred from the platform for their third strike. Indiefoxx has not yet been stripped of her streaming privileges, however, and this ban appears to be another limited-time suspension. All of Indiefoxx’s Twitch bans this year Friday, January 29 — 3 days – Thursday, February 1 — 3 days – Monday, February 5 — 3 days – Saturday, February 24 — 1 day – Saturday, April 10 — 3 days – Tuesday, June 22 — 3 days – Monday, June 28 — Ongoing – Dexerto can confirm the suspended streamer has been stripped of her platform partnership, but will likely retain access to her Twitch channel post-ban. The Twitch star has yet to comment on her sixth suspension, which came into effect at 8.34pm EST. Her last few Twitch stream titles have referenced her bans, including the latest: “REFORMED E GIRL, RATED G.” Dexerto has reached out to Indiefoxx for comment on her partnership removal.

Indiefoxx seemingly banned from TikTok following Twitch ban Twitter: indiefoxx/TikTokBanned Twitch streamer Indiefoxx has now seemingly found herself banned from TikTok too as her account has disappeared. Like many other content creators, Indiefoxx has branched out onto plenty of different platforms, but she’s most well-known for her streams on Twitch. However, she’s been embroiled in a bit of controversy recently. The Just Chatting streamer received her sixth ban from Twitch at the end of June, and has been stripped of her Twitch partnership too. She’s continued posting on other platforms in that time, despite not returning to streaming. Now, though, it appears as if she’s been banned from TikTok as well. The banned streamer uploaded one of her TikTok videos to Instagram on July 10, and fans quickly questioned as to why they couldn’t find it on TikTok instead. Read More: TikTok adding donations feature – It wasn’t long before many realized that her account had gone missing, leading to a number of different theories as to why that was the case. Searching her page now just returns errors and says the account is missing. However, outside of a few vague tweets which some fans have linked to the ban as a part of their theories, the streamer hasn’t said anything as of yet about the ban, so it’s purely speculation as to why at this point. On Twitter, Indiefoxx said “A lot of bad stuff happened to me lately. But I don’t complain I just find solutions and keep my head up.” In another post, she said “If you guys thought I was taking a break you’d be gladly mistaken. Success doesn’t sleep and I’m grinding every minute.” https://twitter.com/notIndiefoxx/status/1413714448401895427 Other female content creators have been from TikTok as well recently, with many being spam reported by users. Though, they have managed to get their accounts back after contesting the claims. It remains to be seen if that’s also the case for Indiefoxx and if she’ll be back on the video-sharing platform before long. Similarly, there’s no word on how long her Twitch ban will last.

Indiefoxx finally returns to Twitch after two-year ban with massive stream – Dexerto
Indiefoxx finally returns to Twitch after two-year ban with massive stream Instagram/indiefoxx.ttvAfter two years away from Twitch, Indiefoxx has made her long-awaited return to streaming after the Amazon-owned platform finally lifted her lengthy ban. Back in 2021, Indiefoxx was flying high as one of Twitch’s fastest-growing streamers thanks to the hot tub and ear-licking ASMR meta that had taken over the platform. In fact Despite amassing over 2 million followers in that boom period, she was also repeatedly suspended by Twitch. Indiefoxx picked up at least six lengthy bans before Twitch finally pulled the plug on her channel and banned her indefinitely. Like most lengthy bans, the reason was up in the air for a while until Indiefoxx decided to reveal that it had happened following an on-stream wardrobe malfunction. While she streamed on YouTube a couple of times in that period, fans remained hopeful that she would return to Twitch at some point down the line. Indiefoxx returns to Twitch after two-year-long ban is lifted Well, they finally got their wish at the start of April 2023, as Indiefoxx finally had her lengthy suspension lifted by Twitch, allowing her to return to the platform. It took around two weeks for her to get back to streaming, though, as she finally went live on Twitch for the first time in two years on April 16. It was a slight change from her usual content, but, it was ultimately a successful return. “Guess who hit 17k on a NON hot tub stream. Wtf?! thanks, everyone for coming out and supporting,” the streamer said after finishing up. Given how big of a success her return was, she’ll likely dive into a full-time schedule before long, but it remains to be seen if she’ll keep up the viewing figures. Even though they’ve unbanned her, Twitch may keep a watchful eye on Indiefoxx’s content, given the nature of her previous suspensions.

Indiefoxx finally reveals on-stream incident that resulted in Twitch permaban – Dexerto
Indiefoxx finally reveals on-stream incident that resulted in Twitch permaban Instagram/jenfoxxuwuxoBanned Twitch streamer Indiefoxx has finally revealed the reason why she was permanently removed from the platform and she’s still in shock about it. Indiefoxx was one of the biggest rising streamers on Twitch prior to her being banned from the site indefinitely, amassing over two million followers on the Amazon-owned site with her hot tub and ASMR content. Like many hot tub streamers, Indiefoxx had her share of controversy, earning a whopping six suspensions in 2021 that eventually resulted in Twitch deciding to indefinitely ban her. For over a year, the reason for the final ban was unknown, but during an appearance on the No Jumper podcast, the streamer, who now goes by ‘JenFoxxUwUm,’ revealed what happened to end her Twitch career. Indiefoxx reveals Twitch banned her over wardrobe malfunction Speaking with Adam22, Indiefoxx explained that this was the first time she would be discussing her final ban and that “no one” else knew about it. According to the OnlyFans star, she was wearing yoga pants and partaking in an ASMR stream when she suffered a wardrobe malfunction. Indiefoxx explained that the pants she was wearing resulted in her having a bit of a “camel toe” and used toilet paper to stuff it. (segment begins at 41:55 for mobile users) “I put toilet paper down there, but because of the seam, it moved the toilet paper to the side, so it looked like I had a [penis] because I tried to cover it up,” she said. “If I was an employee of a company and they fired me because of my outfit, that would be an HR situation.” Since being indefinitely banned, Indiefoxx has made efforts to have her account restored but they’ve fallen on deaf ears. Just recently, Jen accused the platform of blocking her unban appeals. While she may not be returning to streaming anytime soon, the creator continues to make a big profit through OnlyFans – a platform she, like other creators, admits earns her far more money than Twitch.

Indiefoxx calls for changes to “cruel and unusual” Twitch ban punishments – Dexerto
Indiefoxx calls for changes to “cruel and unusual” Twitch ban punishments Twitter/JenfoxxxyControversial OnlyFans model and returning Twitch streamer Indiefoxx is calling for the platform to change its policies on indefinite bans. Twitch has been under fire quite a bit in recent years for some of its controversial suspensions, the most notably of which being the mysterious permaban of Dr Disrespect. Hot tub streamer Indiefoxx was also hit with a seemingly permanent ban after a sudden wardrobe malfunction, but was allowed back on the site after nearly two full years. Since her return, Indiefoxx, who also goes by JenFoxx, has called on the platform to implement some changes to bans, calling permanent ones a “cruel and unusual punishment” for creators. Indiefoxx demands Twitch change its permaban policy In a post on social media, the hot tub goddess began by claiming that, while fans shouldn’t be mad about Twitch enforcing its terms of service, its policy on permabans needs changing. “They’re worried their favorite streamer may be permabanned. To solve this, Twitch should just never permaban creators, unless it’s a legal issue,” she suggested. “If bans are close together, one month is plenty of punishment enough in my opinion.” She went on to agree with a viewer that a year-long ban might be reasonable if streamers can’t get their acts together after a few one-month bans, but called out the site for permabanning creators in the past and taking away their income. “This indefinite stuff is cruel and unusual punishment. People shouldn’t have to guess if they will ever have a livelihood,” she blasted. Jen’s comments come at a peculiar time for the Amazon-owned platform as rival Kick continues to grow in popularity and offers streamers a much more generous sub-split. We’ll have to see if Twitch decides to make some updates to its policies based on Indiefoxx’s recommendations, but it’s quite interesting that both she and Soulja Boy had their permabans reversed amid Kick’s rise.

Indiefoxx explains why Twitch bullying made her start an OnlyFans – Dexerto
Indiefoxx explains why Twitch bullying made her start an OnlyFans Instagram/indiefoxx.ttvBanned Twitch streamer Indiefoxx opened up about her personal life, explaining how she was bullied on the Amazon-owned platform and how her suspension ultimately made her create an OnlyFans. Indiefoxx was one of the biggest up-and-coming Twitch stars for half of 2021. Unfortunately, her experience on the site was cut short. During her time on Twitch, the model and singer ended up amassing quite the fan base, garnering over 2,000,000 followers. As the controversial hot tub meta grew in popularity, so too did Indiefoxx – but one reason for her notoriety was her plethora of bans, which angered and shocked the community. On June 28, 2021, she was permanently banned on Twitch following her sixth suspension of the year. As it turns out, though, her time on the platform may not have been as extravagant as many thought. Indiefoxx reveals she was bulled daily on Twitch In a November 23 Twitter thread, the streamer-turned-OnlyFans creator explained how her time on Twitch was filled with instances of bullying that pushed her to create OF content. “I used to cry every day because people would bully me daily on Twitch to the point I couldn’t even greet other streamer friends in their channels,” she explained. “So I made an OnlyFans and became an egirl because I knew it would piss off the very people who tried to keep me down.” Although she didn’t elaborate on who was bullying her, she did say that by creating an OnlyFans, she succeeded in upsetting those who tormented her. https://twitter.com/indiefoxxlive/status/1463259394531991554 Indiefoxx shoots down potential Twitch return Furthermore, she commented on the possibility of ever returning to Twitch when asked about ever partaking in bathtub or hot tub streams again in the future. “Been banned for 5 months, but even if I could come back I wouldn’t,” she said. She then alluded to Twitch allegedly treating some streamers on the site better than others. “I don’t get special privileges other streamers get.” https://twitter.com/indiefoxxlive/status/1463260221464215554 Since her ban, Indiefoxx has remained active on Twitter and Instagram. She also briefly returned to streaming on YouTube back in October, but only has one broadcast saved on her channel. Whether or not we ever see her return to streaming again remains to be seen, but it seems like her new venture is turning out to be a far more positive experience for the influencer.

Indie Vtuber Bao claims she was scammed by animation studio for $34,000 – Dexerto
Indie Vtuber Bao claims she was scammed by animation studio for $34,000 BaoIndie Vtuber Bao has admitted to losing and apparently being owed over $34,000 after an unnamed animation studio refused to refund her. Creating content in the Vtuber space can be extremely expensive. High-quality models, original songs, and merchandise can cost thousands of dollars to produce. Some Vtubers who create unique content work for an agency that will pay for official projects like Hololive and Nijisanji. However, Indie Vtubers often rely on other methods to fund their ideas. A popular strategy is to run a subathon where fans donate toward a set goal. Vtuber Bao hosted a successful Subathon to fund a big project for her fans, but what followed didn’t go to plan. Bao loses $34,000 to unnamed studio Speaking on stream, Bao said she was owed a “very large amount of money,” by an unnamed animation studio. She had paid the studio to produce a series of music videos for her original songs. Addressing the situation on stream, Bao said: “I am owed a very large amount of money. I don’t want to say how much or by who, but I am doing my best to work through it because it was money that you guys gave me. It was money we funded together as a community during my subathon.” Elaborating further, the whale Vtuber would later reveal the specifics on Twitter: “To summarize the beginning of my stream, I lost all of my subathon money. It was going towards animated music videos for my original songs. The studio in question has refunded me exactly $20 to date.” The detailing tweet had an invoice attached showing Bao’s payments to the studio had totaled $34,517.86 over three months. Vienna followed up confirming that Bao was not the only victim: “Quite a few of us were affected by this – Bao especially has suffered so much. I don’t know what we can say but to my friends out there – be careful. Even a reputable studio or group of people can and will do this. I refuse to pay full amounts upfront anymore, ever.” Scamming online creators is by no means exclusive to Vtubers. Underhanded business practices affect others, including recently TikTok stars like Alix Earle who found herself stranded in Italy.

Indiefoxx’s Twitch ban for ASMR streams ends after just three days Instagram: IndiefoxxPopular hot tub streamer turned ASMR specialist ‘Indiefoxx’ was banned on Twitch just days after taking up the new “meta” on the platform. Just three days later and the ban was quickly lifted, allowing Indiefoxx to stream on Twitch once again. Indiefoxx gained infamy on Twitch thanks to her hot tub and ASMR streams, exploding in popularity and doubling her viewer count in just a matter of months. As a result of her channel’s exponential growth, she’s gained 130,000 followers in the last month alone and averages around 13,000 viewers on each stream. However, just before reaching the 1 million follower mark, she was banned from the platform along with fellow streamer Kaitlyn ‘Amouranth’ Siragusa, who produces similar content. This ban lasted just three days before Twitch lifted its ruling on June 21. ✅ Twitch Partner “Indiefoxx” (@indiefoxxlive) has been unbanned after 3 days, 12 minutes and 18 seconds! ✅https://t.co/jI01K4qnnK#twitch #unban #partner #twitchpartner 🐪 — StreamerBans (@StreamerBans) June 22, 2021 The streamer did not disclose the reason behind her latest ban. However, it was believed that her account was mass reported due to the controversial nature of her ASMR streams, which typically involve her lying on a bed wearing leggings while licking the microphone. In her initial comment about the ban, she joked about it, saying, “They saw how hard we’ve been working and wanted to give us the weekend off.” https://twitter.com/indiefoxxlive/status/1406062873390903298?s=20 To keep the laughs rolling in, she tagged Amouranth in a post on Twitter and asked her if she wanted to “go to a spa” for a “tongue massage” since they “both have the weekend off.” Amouranth hasn’t responded yet. However, hundreds of mutual fans did, expressing their support. Of course, some less-than-impressed Twitch users responded too, urging them to keep their content on a “different platform.” https://twitter.com/indiefoxxlive/status/1406063772532297730 The controversial new ASMR meta has been the talk of the town, with popular streamers such as Asmongold, Jaryd ‘Summit1g’ Lazar, and Mizkif expressing their distaste towards it in different ways. Thousands of fans have been debating about it, too. But when it’s all said and done, the opinion that matters the most is the one from Twitch. Dexerto has reached out to them for comment.

Indian YouTuber goes on ‘holy pilgrimage’ to meet PewDiePie in UK – Dexerto
Indian YouTuber goes on ‘holy pilgrimage’ to meet PewDiePie in UK YouTube: PewDiePie/Saiman SaysPopular Indian YouTuber Saimandar ‘Saiman Says’ Waghdhare has bizarrely gone on a “pilgrimage” to the UK in order to find Felix ‘PewDiePie’ Kjellberg, appealing to the Swede to come and meet him. Indian YouTuber travels to England to meet PewDiePie On April 21, Saiman uploaded a video to his YouTube channel entitled ‘PewDiePie, I’M COMING FOR YOU!!! (meet me pls)’, in which he shows that he has traveled to Southwick on the south coast of England in order to meet PewDiePie, who lives in neighbouring Brighton. The YouTuber, who has over 200,000 subscribers, explains that he used to watch ‘Bitch Lasagna’, PewDiePie’s diss-track aimed at rival YouTube channel T-Series, 399 times a day, but now he cannot watch it after it was banned in India. PewDiePie diss tracks ‘banned’ in India T-Series, giant bollywood label, have been embroiled in a YouTube subscriber battle with PewDiePie for the past few months, and took it upon themselves to push for the banning of his diss-track in India, in efforts to combat the growth it brought the Swedish YouTuber. Now though, an apparent superfan from India has traveled all the way from India to the UK – roughly a 10 hour flight – in order to meet his YouTube hero. In the video, Saiman is upset at being replaced by the ‘blue shirt kid’, and shows off the Indian snacks he brought for PewDiePie to try. He also renames Southwick’s beach as ‘Beach Lasagna’, before he ventures into Brighton for some more exploring. At the time of writing, PewDiePie has not officially responded to news of Saiman’s arrival in England, but it’s hard to believe he’ll deny him the opportunity to meet him given the extent of his travels. Off the back of Saiman’s efforts, the hashtag #PewdsMeetSaiman has been launched on Twitter, with many of Saiman’s fans tweeting to get the Swede’s attention.

Indian YouTuber finally meets PewDiePie after epic “holy pilgrimage” Saiman Says YouTubeYouTuber Saimandar ‘Saiman Says’ Waghdhare’s trip halfway across the world to meet Felix ‘PewDiePie’ Kjellberg went viral – but it had an incredibly fitting end. On April 21, Saiman posted a hilarious video called ‘PewDiePie, I’M COMING FOR YOU !!! (meet me pls)” where he catalogued his time in Southwick, located in the south of England, hoping to meet the world’s largest YouTube personality. After a touching appeal and ritual performance, Saiman was able to get PewDiePie’s attention in a May 2 video that showed him finally meeting the star YouTuber after traveling all the way from Bangladesh. An unbelievable turnout for an incredible trip Saiman’s “#PewdsMeetsSaiman” campaign eventually pulled through, as the two met up on the shores of an overcast Brighton beach. After avoiding a handshake gone awry, it seems the Indian YouTuber was a bit unprepared to host PewDiePie, saying: “So, the thing is: I never thought this would happen, so I do not have anything in mind.” PewDiePie immediately interjected, saying “I’m only here for the snacks,” referring to the swarm of Indian victuals that Saiman had brought along on the trip. We have snacks. Indian snacks, Indian music, [and T-series music], sure why not.” The video closes an epic journey for Saiman to finally meet PewDiePie, and it was even more awesome they got to share in some laughs and snacks while they were at it.

Indian man asks MrBeast for photo without realizing who he is Twitter: MrBeastPopular YouTube philanthropist MrBeast revealed that he was approached by a man in India who asked for a photo. When MrBeast asked what his favorite video was, the Indian man had no idea what he was talking about. With over 100 million subs on YouTube on his main account alone, Jimmy ‘MrBeast’ Donaldson has become one of the most popular influencers on the internet. Having such a viral presence on the internet comes with its real-life interactions as well, with fans approaching the creator whenever he goes out in public. Fan interactions don’t always go as planned, however. MrBeast has recently detailed his interaction with someone while traveling in India which is a great example of things not going as planned. MrBeast details his interaction while traveling in India In a series of tweets on August 24, MrBeast explained that a man approached him for a picture while walking around India. “So I asked my translator to ask him what his favorite MrBeast video is and he said that he doesn’t know what a MrBeast is and just wanted a photo with a tall white guy lol,” he added. While MrBeast’s interaction with the Indian man simply ended with him not knowing who Jimmy is, many other IRL interactions haven’t gone quite as smooth. Back in September 2021, Twitch streamer Cooksux had a stranger attempt to fight him during a stream. On August 14, 2022, another streamer was bit by a child while broadcasting in Turkey. Popular IRL streamer JinnyTTV recently crashed her scooter on stream as well, despite being banned in the past for “dangerous activity.” Although the Indian man didn’t know who MrBeast was when he asked for his picture, it’s safe to assume that he probably is aware of him now.

Indian legislation to possibly ban TikTok app amid T-Series takeover – Dexerto
Indian legislation to possibly ban TikTok app amid T-Series takeover WRCBTV / T-SeriesWhile Bollywood label T-Series has been deep in a heated battle for dominance on YouTube with PewDiePie, South Indian lawmakers are now turning their sights to TikTok with surprising legislation. Thamimun Ansari, a local legislator for South Indian state Tamil Nadu, argues that TikTok contains sensitive material and promotes discussions that could end up disturbing the peace. “…the mobile application (TikTok) was acting as a platform for heated debates inimical to law and order, and sharing of sexually-explicit material,” Ansari said during a state Assembly. “The minister supported my charge and promised to take steps to ban the application in Tamil Nadu.” https://www.scmp.com/tech/article/2157481/bytedance-set-merge-musically-tik-tok-one-global-video-platform-under-tik-tokTikTok is taking steps to ensure the availability of the app in the South Indian region, hiring a “chief nodal officer” as a go-between with Tamil Nadu’s authorities. Many users noted a massive disparity between T-Series’ sub count and individual video views, arguing that the label was using “sub-bots” to boost their numbers. However, another theory suggested that Indian users may be automatically subscribed to T-Series upon creating a YouTube account – which, considering the density of India’s population, could account for its steady increase in subs as the months go by. T-Series has since acquired a massive partnership with music streaming service Spotify, placing its entire catalog of songs and soundtracks on the platform.

Imposter attempts to shut down Fortnite dance lawsuits with phony email – Dexerto
Imposter attempts to shut down Fortnite dance lawsuits with phony email Epic Games / Daily Post NigeriaAn imposter, purporting to be the attorney in charge of the Fortnite dance lawsuits, has emailed the US Copyright Office in a bid to close the case. Fortnite developers Epic Games have been hit with a slew of lawsuits from a number of notable personalities, who feel that their dances were used by the company without credit as purchasable, in-game emotes. Seemingly in response to these lawsuits, an email was sent to the U.S. Copyright Office under the name of lead attorney David Hecht, which asked to dismiss any current claims on the dance moves used in the game. https://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/pierce-bainbridge-reports-fraud-on-the-copyright-office-in-connection-with-the-fortnite-suits-to-the-authorities-and-reassures-fans-300798149.html?tc=eml_cleartimeThe email described the actions of Hecht’s clients as “reckless and baseless,” arguing that the claims in question contained “very false information.” “Recently, I noticed that my clients and I have been filing copyright claims regarding dance moves,” the email reads. “…I would like for our copyright claims to be terminated/dismissed because they were false/baseless.” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7t8Gies2ZpsThe impersonator didn’t stop there – according to Pierce Bainbridge, a second email was sent to the Office under Hecht’s name on February 19, which was forwarded to the U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation. Hecht himself argued against the impostor’s claims, stating that Bainbridge’s lawsuits are the “opposite of ‘reckless and baseless,’ as suggested by the hacker.” Those suing Epic Games include the likes of American rappers BlocBoy JB and 2 Milly, ‘Fresh Prince’ star Alfonso Ribeiro, and internet personalities ‘Backpack Kid’ and ‘Orange Shirt Kid.’ However, it appears that Ribeiro’s claim on his famous ‘Carlton’ dance ultimately fell through, as a statement from the U.S. Copyright Office claimed that the routine is “not registrable as a choreographic work.”

In-N-Out is coming to Canada but there’s a big catch Instagram:In-N-OutAmerican fast food chain In-N-Out is expanding to Canada. However, this exciting news comes with a massive catch. In-N-Out originated in California and has since spread across much of the United States. Now, the popular burger joint is set to pop up in Canada, though only for a limited time. A full expansion into the region isn’t in the works just yet. The Langley Good Times Cruise-In, an event in Aldergrove, Vancouver, confirmed that In-N-Out will open a pop-up store on September 7-8, 2024. The event largely centers on creating a space for locals to drive over and showcase their cool cars, with food trucks and stands there to provide some grub to satisfy guests. While the In-N-Out menu for The Langly Good Times Cruise-In will be limited to certain items, attendees can still bite into their famous burgers and burger-style fries. Admission to the Cruise-In is free of charge and open to all ages, offering a unique opportunity for families, teenagers, and everyone else to get their hands on an In-N-Out burger over the weekend before the team packs up shop and flies back to the States. The presence of In-N-Out has been a staple of the event for years now, as it marks the only time in which the chain crosses the border into Metro Vancouver. Even within America, a new In-N-Out store opening is often a source of excitement, particularly in different States. In December 2023, opening the first store in Idaho garnered such a craze that there was an 8-hour line for the drive-thru on opening day. However, that’s not to say locals can’t try their hand at replicating the In-N-Out burger recipes, with ex-employees often taking to social media to share how the food chain creates their iconic items and flavor.

Impaulsive’s Mike Majlak responds to cheating rumors with “Dr Phil girl” – Dexerto
Impaulsive’s Mike Majlak responds to cheating rumors with “Dr Phil girl” Instagram: avalouiise, heybigmikeMike Majlak, co-host of Logan Paul’s Impaulsive podcast, has responded to rumors that he cheated on his girlfriend with someone the Internet has come to know as “Dr Phil girl.” Mike and his girlfriend, Lana, first met in mid-January 2020, with good friend Logan surprising him with his “favorite actress” for his birthday. The rumor is that they immediately hit it off, started dating and have been going steady ever since. Though it’s still early days in their relationship, Mike is now being accused of cheating on Lana with none other than Ava Louise, more commonly known as “Dr Phil girl” thanks to her controversial appearance on the Dr Phil show. After Lana posted a tweet that seemed to be directed at someone, talking about girls with “nothing better to do than sit outside a club for hours,” Ava responded simply saying: “Imagine getting cheated on with a girl from Dr Phil.” Of course, this seemed to stoke the rumor that Mike had cheated with Ava. He has since taken to Twitter to try to tell his side of the story, but hasn’t confirmed or denied the accusation either way. He posted some screenshots of his conversations with Ava in an attempt to prove that she had been “pursuing him,” before writing one final tweet. “Will address all of this skank ass bulls**t at a later time,” he said. “I have a very mad, very beautiful girl I need to go make things right with right now.” i will address all this skank ass bullshit at a later time but i have a very mad, very beautiful girl i need to go make things right with right now. wish me luck. love you all (except for all you clout chasing hoes) — Mike Majlak (@mikemajlak) February 10, 2020 Mike did find the time to make a joke on Twitter, saying that every time he visits New York there’s “another d**ksucking scandal.” The previous scandal being referenced was a viral video that many thought was a leaked Logan Paul tape but eventually turned out to just be a lookalike. Nobody else has posted publicly since his final tweet, but it seems this could be the end of the road for Mike and Lana, as she seems unwilling to forgive his misdemeanor.

ImPaulsive’s Mike Majlak reveals MTV show with Jake Paul & Tana Mongeau – Dexerto
ImPaulsive’s Mike Majlak reveals MTV show with Jake Paul & Tana Mongeau The co-host of Logan Paul’s ImPaulsive podcast, Mike Majlak, has revealed in the latest episode of YouTube series ‘The Night Shift’ that he will be joining newlyweds Jake Paul and Tana Mongeau in a new MTV show. Mike is the co-host of ImPaulsive alongside Logan Paul and Spencer Taylor, but the podcast has taken a short hiatus while Logan trains for his upcoming boxing match against KSI on November 9. In a recent episode of ‘The Night Shift’, Majlak revealed Logan Paul’s incredible bedroom in his $7 million mansion – now, he’s hinted at a very secret upcoming project with Logan’s brother, Jake. In the episode uploaded on October 23 to Mike Majlak’s channel, he revealed that he has been working with Jake and his wife, Tana Mongeau, trying out for something new. “Jake, Tana and I went and tried out for a new MTV show,” he said. “I can’t really talk about it much but, basically, Jake would be the host and Tana and I would be the co-stars.” (Timestamp 1:20 for mobile users) He continued, jokingly saying, “I spent most of the day explaining to the MTV executives how brand-safe Logan Paul had become over the past year, that he was good for their brand and for television… They weren’t buying it, they went with Jake Paul instead.” Majlak was holding his hards very close to his chest, and neither Jake nor Tana have come out to talk about the new opportunity, so we don’t have any details on it just yet. As they were just trying out, it might not be confirmed that they are going to be in the show – but the fact that Majlak is openly discussing it definitely suggests that he’s confident of their chances. Earlier this year, Tana had her own MTV show, ‘No Filter: Tana Turns 21‘ air, following Tana “through friendships and struggles as she takes on the next phase of her life”. While Mike and ImPaulsive are taking a break ahead of KSI vs. Logan Paul, it’s also heavily rumored that Jake himself will be fighting on the day too, against UK FIFA YouTuber AnEsonGib.

What is Thor’s Watch on TikTok? Viral clip has viewers baffled – Dexerto
What is Thor’s Watch on TikTok? Viral clip has viewers baffled TikTok: astoldbyneek / Marvel StudiosPeople were shocked after seeing a woman’s watch that appeared to be immovable and stuck to her kitchen countertop, leading people to claim that it was Thor’s watch. TikTok has been the hosting ground for many viral videos that leave people baffled, causing the community to brainstorm together what on earth could be happening. This time, a video had people believing that the character in Norse mythology and a popular muscle-bound figure in Marvel’s universe, Thor, could in fact be real and walking among us. This all happened because, in a viral video, two people showed a watch in their home that they simply couldn’t move, leading people to joke that it must only be Thor who could pick up the watch. Watch mysteriously stuck on counter shocks people People couldn’t believe what they were seeing in a TikTok video that has now gained over 900k views showing a watch that two people couldn’t budge: “Is this a Thor watch?“ In the video shocked people as the couple couldn’t even get the watch to move after trying to pry it loose with a butter knife. “I gotta know who was Thor and got it unstuck,” one person joked. Other people put on their thinking caps and tried to brainstorm what was the scientific reason behind the stuck watch. Some pointed out that it was the mixture of the polyurethane finish on the counter and the flat surface of the glass watch face that was causing the object to look like a rival to Thor’s hammer Mjolnir. “Cheaper perfectly flat glass plus polyurethane wood finish surprisingly with a little force or time will stick better than glue.” But despite the rival theories of a real-life Thor and scientific reasoning battling it out, it was science that won in the end. The TikToker triumphantly let viewers know in the comments that she managed to unstick the watch. But others found another viral TikTok story more shocking than this one after a dispute between a couple ended up with a girl dumping her boyfriend because he refused to get her toilet paper.

TikTok star Ava Majury responds as stalker case gets dismissed: “I’m afraid to leave my house” – Dexerto
TikTok star Ava Majury responds as stalker case gets dismissed: “I’m afraid to leave my house” Instagram: Ava MajuryTikTok star Ava Majury’s court case against a former classmate has been thrown out by U.S. courts after accusing the juvenile of intimidating and following her. 15-year-old Ava Majury is a popular social media personality with over 1 million followers on TikTok and 57.5 million collective likes across all her videos. On July 10, 2020, 18-year-old Eric Rohan Justin arrived at Majury’s house with a shotgun in Naples, Florida, blowing open the front door and unloading a round into the 14-year-old’s bedroom door. The attacker was quickly met by Ava’s father who chased him off, retrieving a handgun and later killing Justin. Fast-forward two years from the incident, Majury has now taken the stand in a separate stalking incident, testifying against a former schoolmate, who she says was stalking her. View this post on Instagram Ava Majury responds as stalker case gets dismissed On March 28, 2022, Majury took the stand at the Collier County courthouse in Florida, where she alleged that a juvenile “was always behind” her or around her “no matter what.” “I was terrified. I took myself out of many things that I love. … I took myself out of soccer when we were headed to state mid-season,” Majury said in her Monday statement. Majury, along with her lawyers, argued that the accused schoolmate had been in communication with Justin who Ava has said “tried to murder” her family. According to Fox News, Majury would occasionally ask for information regarding Justin such as texts and Snapchat messages, as she knew that the two had been in contact with each other. Ava said that despite the dismissal, she plans to continue spreading messages of positivity on social media. pic.twitter.com/QO6rqlYrLa — Audrey Conklin (@audpants) March 28, 2022 The accused’s attorney argued that his client was voluntarily sending Majury information about Justin in an attempt to make her aware of the situation and that Majury testimony did not live up to the definition of stalking. After an almost hour-and-a-half-long hearing, the Florida judge decided to dismiss the case, as there wasn’t enough evidence to prove her schoolmate was a stalker. Majury’s TikTok account has since been deleted, though her Instagram remains active.

‘I’m carrying your love with me’ trend takes over TikTok – Dexerto
‘I’m carrying your love with me’ trend takes over TikTok TikTok: officialmysterymakers / catdadtrioTikTok users are sharing their hilarious takes on the ‘I’m carrying your love with me’ trend that’s taking over the app right now, with some videos garnering millions of views. Every day, new trends are popping up on video platform TikTok, with many of them going on to garner millions of views and likes across thousands of videos. One of the main ways that trends start on TikTok is through audios, or ‘Sounds’ as they are referred to on the app. Sometimes a sound might be a chart-topping hit, a throwback song, or even just a snippet from a user’s original video that unexpectedly becomes a meme. The ‘I’m carrying your love with me’ trend is the latest one to take over the platform, and it is going viral in a variety of different forms. The first sound to go viral was simply a snippet from a version of the song ‘Carrying Your Love’ by David Morris, where people would show the ‘evidence’ of love that they were carrying with them, before revealing whose love it is. For example, many users in the first part of the video show a series of stray hairs on their clothing, before revealing that the hair comes from their pet, at the ‘I’m carrying your love with me’ part of the song. This trend got even funnier when TikTok user Whatsername created a new version, where she sang the second line in her own voice, seemingly much closer to the microphone. The sudden change in audio quality inspired thousands of people to make their own videos using the sound, which have been even more chaotic than the first. Many of them have gone on to garner millions of likes and views, sharing their best expectations vs. reality memes. TikTok has been seeing a number of trends go viral in recent months, including one prank trend based on the popular Giordano filter.

iJustine “nearly died” after blood clot left her hospitalized – Dexerto
iJustine “nearly died” after blood clot left her hospitalized Instagram: iJustineYouTube star Justine ‘iJustine’ Ezarik has revealed that a blood clot left her bedridden, hospitalized, and nearly killed her. iJustine is a name that will be familiar with anyone who has followed the top YouTubers for a long time. She hosts a variety of content on her channel, predominantly tech reviews, but she also vlogs and posts more real-life content occasionally too. At 38 years old, Justine thought she was perfectly healthy, until a whirlwind few days between March and April 2022 saw her arm go numb, swell up, and turn purple, before finally being rushed to the hospital. The issues arose as a result of a blood clot in her shoulder, which then traveled to her lungs and became nearly fatal. Justine was diagnosed with Deep Vein Thrombosis, she said in an interview with Today, a blood clot located in deep veins. “I couldn’t even flex my arm because my bicep was so massive that it looked like I was so shredded from the gym — but it was just swollen,” she said. “I went to (an emergency clinic) and a nurse looked at it. She’s like, ‘We’re not equipped to handle that.’” Doctors then decided to transfer her to another hospital better equipped to deal with the issue, but it wasn’t easy. She underwent a thrombectomy, which involved using a catheter to break up the clot to prevent it from moving to her heart or brain, which can be deadly. The first failed to fully break up the clot, so a second was needed. “I was basically bedridden. I couldn’t move either of my arms because one had the catheter (and) the other had so many needles,” she said. “My sister was brushing my teeth and feeding me. I was basically in bed for four days without moving.” Months later, Justine claimed she still feels the effects of the clot, quicker to feel winded during light workouts and is now considering surgery to remove a part of the rib that doctors claim pinches veins and helps cause clots. Needless to say, had she not caught the clot quick enough, the situation could have been far different, and Justine might not even have been around to tell her story.

Illinois State students in NELK Boys party facing fines & suspensions – Dexerto
Illinois State students in NELK Boys party facing fines & suspensions YouTube: NELK[jwplayer mgzBNoPb] YouTube group and notorious pranksters, the ‘NELK Boys,’ threw a massive party at Illinois State University with their fans — but it seems like the rager could result in sanctions against some of the students who were in attendance. The NELK Boys are known for their insane prank videos and other wild antics, having hosted massive meetups across the globe (Remember that time their huge meet and greet in Ireland got busted by police? Yeah, that happened.). While they’ve faced repercussions for these gatherings before, a recent fiasco involving the group and a large number of Illinois State University students could have some serious consequences for those involved. On September 8, footage surfaced online of a huge party thrown by the NELK Boys and students near the University’s campus, showing a massive throng of people living it up in spite of the current global health crisis. https://twitter.com/defnoodles/status/1303787630769758209?s=20 Needless to say, this rager caught the attention of University staff, and the ISU President spoke out about the incident during a press conference shortly thereafter. “It really gives me no joy to convey my great disappointment in the actions of those who gathered,” President Larry Dietz said of the party, going on to claim that he and the Mayor of Normal were looking into “potential sanctions” against those involved. Those “sanctions” could include possible suspensions for students who attended the gathering, including “interruption of the students’ plan to be here.” That’s not all; Normal also introduced orders that limited the number of people allowed at gatherings near the university, with punishment for breaking said order including a fine up to $750. While the group dispersed once police arrived on the scene, it seems like video evidence of the party could result in the identification of a few key students — and some punishments for not observing city ordinances. This news comes hot on the heels of TikToker Bryce Hall facing charges for throwing similar parties in Los Angeles — and influencer could face up to a year in jail and/or a $2,000 fine. Even if your favorite YouTubers show up to town, going to a huge party just isn’t a good idea right now, especially if the law gets involved.
