MatPat rips into Colleen Ballinger with jaw-dropping Streamys skit YouTube: Colleen Vlogs, Streamy AwardsYouTube star MatPat delivered a scathing segment taking aim at disgraced creator Colleen Ballinger in a jaw-dropping moment at the Streamy Awards. Colleen Ballinger is an OG YouTuber who’s best known for her comedic character ‘Miranda Sings’ — but she’s fallen out of favor after a huge scandal rocked the internet earlier this year. Although allegations surrounding Ballinger’s alleged inappropriate behavior toward young fans have been around since 2020, the accusations kicked up once again in June, with more fans claiming she “exploited” them. Ballinger infamously responded to the allegations in a ten-minute long video where she sang a song while playing a ukulele, claiming her management team had “strongly advised” her not to “say what I want to say,” but “realized they never said that I couldn’t sing.” The YouTuber’s apology video, which has since been dubbed ‘Toxic Gossip Train,’ was mocked relentlessly online — and was once again lampooned during the 2023 Streamy Awards. MatPat shades Colleen Ballinger at the 2023 Streamys During the Streamys, YouTube star MatPat (of Game Theory fame) took to the stage for a mock “in memoriam” segment, where he poked fun at social media platforms that had taken some major Ls over the past year (including Twitch’s 70/30 sub split drama and Elon Musk’s X/Twitter rebranding). Throughout the skit, a woman sat in a chair on stage and played the ukulele. It wasn’t until the end, when MatPat went to take away the instrument, that it became clear he was pointing a finger at Colleen Ballinger. “But it was the tragic loss of this one thing that truly hit the creator community the hardest,” MatPat said. “Something whose train unfortunately left the station with one ill-advised, ten-minute long video.” MatPat moved to take away the ukulele, saying, “I’m sorry.” The woman then stood up and said, “No, I’m sorry,” before walking backstage. MatPat gave the crowd a knowing look and said: “Looks like someone knows how to apologize.” The internet was left with their jaws on the floor at how brazen MatPat was in lambasting Ballinger, who he used to collaborate with before the allegations against her arose. For now, not much else has come forth from Colleen’s end of things after her lawyers sent a cease and desist letter to YouTuber Ethan Klein… but it accidentally got sent to a fan, instead.

MasterChef’s Aarón Sánchez reveals what he really thinks about the Season 13 Top 19 chefs – Dexerto
MasterChef’s Aarón Sánchez reveals what he really thinks about the Season 13 Top 19 chefs FOXChef Aarón Sánchez talked to us about Season 13 of FOX’s MasterChef and what makes the show so special. If you’re looking for a food TV show to get obsessed with, Season 13 of MasterChef is a great way to start. In this season, chefs from every region of the US come together to compete for the coveted role of MasterChef and win a cash prize of $250,000 Alongside Joseph Bastianich and Gordon Ramsay, professional chef and restauranteur Aarón Sánchez is one of the judges of the season. You might also recognize him for his appearances on Chopped and MasterChef Junior. The current season is already down to its Top 19 contestants in a fight to win it all. We got the chance to sit down with Aarón and discuss the new season, representing the South, and what he’s doing for the Latin community. Aarón Sánchez thinks the Season 13 Top 19 chefs are “fantastic” Q: What do you personally think about the Top 19 chefs this season? Aarón: “I think they’re fantastic. I think the idea of being able to bring that regional pride to the Masterchef kitchen is something that’s so unique. I think, you know, it’s safe to say that all of us have a lot of pride when it comes to family recipes and where we’re from. Whether it’s a state or a city or a town. And I think you’re going to see that throughout this season. And a lot of strong opinions and combativeness to us as judges which I love. I think people are gonna come hit us with some zingers and you’re going to see that as the season goes on.” Q: You live in Louisiana, which is in the South. Do you know what you would cook to represent your region? Aarón: “Oh, absolutely. I mean, I could do so many different things. I can make etouffee, I can make a really good gumbo, I can do smothered pork chops. I can do smothered anything. A little sauce piquant. We can do down the list. But I can also do Mexican food, as well, and I think that would be a good representation of the South, as well. It’s kind of South of the border, but it’s South.” Aarón Sánchez explains what makes MasterChef so special Q: You joined Masterchef back in Season 8. Did you think that it was going to go on this far and still maintain its popularity? Aarón: “Yeah. I think what makes Masterchef so special is the fact that we mentor all of our contestants, they are with us for a really good amount of time. So regardless if they win, lose, or draw, they all walk away with really beautiful kitchen skills, life skills confidence to maybe go and approach the food world as their own career. And I think with all of that, that’s what makes it so rewarding to be a part of the whole process and the show.” Q: As far as yourself, do you have any other projects in the works that you can share? Aarón: “Yeah absolutely. We’re continuing to do more Masterchef, hopefully. And then I’m doing a restaurant here in Lake Charles [Louisiana] at a casino called L’Auberge. I have a beautiful philanthropy effort called The Aaron Sanchez Impact Fund where we put Latino kids into culinary school. And, we’re doing other things that are going to hopefully impact the Latin community and we’re a part of the Emeril Lagase Foundation, as well. So we have a lot of support there. And yeah, I just continue to grow and make sure that our food touches as many people as possible and that were supporting the new generation.” The next episode of MasterChef Season 13 is set to release on FOX on July 12. Until then, read up on the latest TV show news on our page here.

Mastodon grows by over 200,000 overnight as #RIPTwitter trends – Dexerto
Mastodon grows by over 200,000 overnight as #RIPTwitter trends MastodonSocial media platform Mastodon has amassed over 200,000 users in just one day as the future of Twitter has come into question with #RIPTwitter trending on the site. As soon as Elon Musk took over Twitter on October 27, users began looking for an alternate social media platform to stay connected to their friends just in case something happens. One of the platforms being mass adopted is Mastodon, which was first founded on March 16, 2016. On November 17, #RIPTwitter began trending as thousands of employees reportedly resigned from Twitter, and Mastodon saw a massive increase in users as well. Mastodon gains over 200,000 users overnight As Elon Musk set a November 17 deadline for employees to commit to going “hardcore” while building what he claims will be “Twitter 2.0,” it was revealed that roughly 75% of the remaining employees said no — accepting a month’s worth of severance instead. This set a worried tone on the platform, pushing them to advertise their other platforms to prepare for the possible end of Twitter. According to the Mastodon User Count bot, many chose to find a home on the Fediverse. At the time of writing, Mastodon has gained 213,956 users in the last day, with over half a million users added to the 7,000,000 accounts in the last seven days. Whether or not Twitter is going to go away anytime soon is still up for question, but it seems users are finding proper homes on Mastodon in the meantime.

Massive fight breaks out after Island Boys get slapped in “crazy” Fousey livestream – Dexerto
Massive fight breaks out after Island Boys get slapped in “crazy” Fousey livestream Instagram: flyysouljahStreamer Konvy was seen slapping one of the members of Island Boys during a recent live stream from Fousey. This resulted in him being chased by the two twins. A recent influencer meet-up that saw the likes of Island Boys, N3on, Fousey, Jack Doherty, and Konvy come together went south after a fight broke out among the group. Fousey and his crew met with the Island Boys to do more random boxing sessions at a house and things started getting wild. At one point during the stream, Konvy is seen standing between the Island Boys during his interaction with N3on, who is seen lying on the couch. “Don’t touch me, bro,” one of the Island Boys tells Konvy, who goes on to push him. The two started hurling expletives at each other while the bodyguards tried to contain the situation and keep them away from each other. The twins then try to attack Konvy. They threaten each other to not touch them. At one point, Konvy slaps one of the Island Boys and he is pushed out of the door of the house by the bodyguards. Fans defend Konvy for standing up for N3on While some fans expressed how ‘crazy’ the live stream drama was, others hailed Konvy for defending N3on. “Konvy REAL for sticking up for N3on ONG,” one person said. “Konvy has gained my respect, ong he’s him,” another expressed. Some, however, thought it was all fake. “FAKE, this N3on, Kovey and Island Boys drama was fake AF,” another Twitter user expressed. This is not the first time one of Fousey’s streams takes a wild turn. During a recent subathon on Kick, the streamer was seen walking in the middle of a busy freeway.

Masterchef winner offers to watch the show with xQc – Dexerto
Masterchef winner offers to watch the show with xQc xQcA previous winner of the Masterchef reality TV show has offered to watch along with xQc as he streams old episodes. Some of streamer Felix ‘xQc’ Lengyel’s favorite content to watch with chat lately has been old episodes of the Masterchef competitive cooking reality show. Hosted by Gordon Ramsay, the show has amateur and home chefs face off to determine who’s the “Masterchef” by the end of the season. After xQc watched Season 3, the winner Christine Ha offered to watch some of it with him. It all started with Ha posting a shot of xQc’s stream on Instagram while he was deep in a Masterchef binge. After getting love from chat, she said to “tell xQc I said hello.” Christine won Season 3 of Masterchef, taking home $250,000 and a cookbook deal, and now she wants to watch her winning adventure again with xQc on-stream again. “Hey xQc, let’s watch Masterchef together,” Ha posted later, offering an opportunity at what could be some very cool content. Felix, like a lot of people, is a fan of Gordon Ramsay and his cooking-themed reality shows. However, it would be a whole other level of behind-the-scenes to have a contestant give the inside scoop. Christine could provide valuable insight on what it was like during filming, and what Gordon was like in person. It would be like a director’s cut, but with the winning contestant instead. Hopefully, Felix sees this invitation and does invite Ha to join him on stream. Many streamers watch old reality shows for content, but not too many have the chance to watch it with someone who was actually on one.

Massive basketball brawl breaks out at YMCA as entire gym starts fighting – Dexerto
Massive basketball brawl breaks out at YMCA as entire gym starts fighting XA YMCA in Delaware County, PA played host to one of the biggest brawls we’ve ever seen as a basketball game devolved into a bloody beatdown. Sports can lead to all sorts of violent confrontations when people take their games too seriously, but one game of hoops looked more like a line brawl in hockey when all was said and done. The brawl, which took place on January 2, only recently went viral after footage of the mayhem was posted to X, revealing a brutal battle that involved 12 people beating each other up. While the footage doesn’t show off what started the bedlam, it showcases the absolute chaos that followed as fists started flying and more combatants entered the WWE-like battle royale. YMCA brawl goes viral as 12 people fight at once In the video, a group of men and women started waging war against each other, fighting all over the gym by throwing punches and kicks at their opponents. At multiple points, they switch dance partners, with combatants either fighting someone new or teaming up to battle someone else, either in a 2-on-1 or even 3-on-1 situation. Midway through, one fighter laid helpless on the floor after getting beat down by rivals, only for the cavalry to arrive and lend a helping hand – or fist. Despite someone off-screen yelling for the group to “break it up,” the demands fell on deaf ears as the madness continued, with sucker punches sparking another round of fisticuffs. According to CrossingBoard, the police were called to the YMCA and the facility sent out a letter revealing that charges would be filed against those involved. As a result of the fights, the YMCA decided that the basketball courts would be closed for open/pickup games after 3:30 PM during the week and would be restricted to members only. “I am sending this email to you to assure you that what happened last night at the Springfield YMCA was an isolated incident. I am optimistically hoping WE can work together to ensure better days,” local YMCA President Michael Ranck said. This is hardly the first multi-man fight to go viral. Last year saw countless melees, including one video of a man somehow taking on fifteen people at once and coming out on top.

Massive brawl breaks out at Texas gas station as fighters drive cars into each other – Dexerto
Massive brawl breaks out at Texas gas station as fighters drive cars into each other TikTok/towninja_2.0An over-the-top gas station brawl is going viral after multiple groups started fighting and even rammed their cars into one another. For whatever reason, gas stations seem to be the true proving ground for street combat, and an absolutely wild battle royale broke out in Texas that has viewers both concerned and confused. In a video going viral on TikTok, men in three cars began circling each other at a gas station while intimidating and even side-swiping rivals who wandered around the area waiting for their foes to battle. Eventually, men emptied out of the three cars and an all-out war commenced. Everyone involved found a dance partner to engage in fisticuffs with, as one man even took off his belt to hit his opponent. Men get run over as brawl becomes demolition derby Although it’s not clear why the Dallas melee started and who the groups were, the brawl ended after someone in a black car ran into multiple fighters, sending them to the pavement. From there, the car zoomed off, and the rest of the combatants got into their respective vehicles and left too. Amazingly, it seemed like no one was seriously hurt during the great gas station battle. Keeping track of the teams involved in the conflict was proving to be difficult for users on TikTok, who called the battle both “confusing” and “wild.” “Next time you guys fight again can each team wear different color, because I lost track of who’s in whose team,” remarked one user. “I was so confused with this mess. Reminded me of the old movies! Who won the fight?” another asked. The discussion was very similar on Reddit, with users just as baffled by the rumble, saying it was too difficult to follow. This is hardly the first parking lot melee to go viral. Earlier this year, a wild brawl made headlines when a cop hit a woman with a Rock Bottom finishing move as groups fought each other.

Marzia updates fans after gruesome injury on trip with PewDiePie – Dexerto
Marzia updates fans after gruesome injury on trip with PewDiePie PewDiePieYouTuber Marzia has suffered a gruesome injury while on her second honeymoon with husband and YouTube king Felix ‘PewDiePie‘ Kjellberg, after a knife accident. The newly-weds are enjoying a trip to Japan, the country where they initially got engaged, but things got off to a poor start after an accident left Marzia with a nasty injury. Having purchased a knife, the Italian was attempting to remove it from it’s packaging when it fell and landed with the pointed edge in her toe. Posting the image on her Instagram story (though she spared fans any gruesome pictures of the injury itself), her followers were immediately concerned, worried the damage to her foot could impact the ability to travel during their trip. Marzia responded to fans’ concerns, explaining: “Thank you all for worrying about the toe. It is a very dark purple color near the cut, so it’s not looking pretty BUT I’ve been able to walk all day so I assume it’s not that serious. I’m hoping it will heal on its own.” As questions continued to pour in about the state of her injury, Marzia gave a further update on October 5, drawing another image and saying that “it’s definitely getting better and I’m totally fine, so no need to worry.” Their trip clearly isn’t being affected terribly either, as both PewDiePie and Marzia have posted about how much they are enjoying seeing Tokyo, watching a fireworks display on October 5. PewDiePie’s time away hasn’t stopped him remaining dedicated to his YouTube channel though, with daily videos still being posted, likely by way of scheduled uploads. He remains the only individual YouTuber to surpass 100 million subscribers, a feat he managed just shortly after he and Marzia tied the knot in August.

Twitch streamers slammed for harassment of female Pokémon player – Dexerto
Twitch streamers slammed for harassment of female Pokémon player Kaylynn Creighton, Twitter / The Pokemon Company IntlIt’s no secret that online communities can be hives for toxic behavior and bullying, and Twitch is no exception – but a group of Pokémon TCG streamers have taken harassment to a whole new level. A Twitter thread created by user ‘Purplecliffe’ showed a clip of three Pokémon Trading Card Game streamers harassing actress and content creator Kaylynn Creighton en masse, referring to Creighton by her genitalia and encouraging their audience to antagonize her. “You can tell ‘Whoop Whoop’ that Zekromm says, ‘Fuck you,’” streamer ‘Zekromm556’ taunted, using an offensive nickname in reference to Creighton while flashing a middle finger at his webcam. “…to be honest, dude, do you wanna see some pair of tits that sucks at the Pokémon Trading Card Game, or do you wanna see Zekromm?” This is absolutely disgusting. Pokemon TCG content creators @Zekromm556 along with @DreamItGames @themetadeck and Azurebones have been harassing @kaycreigh on their own streams & in her chat by making fake accounts as well as talking shit in their own chats&streams [Thread] pic.twitter.com/bWGJt4rOYA — Jack (@Purplecliffe) May 5, 2019 Encouraging harassment and creating fake accounts That wasn’t the end of their harassment, by far; Purplecliffe went on to show that the streamers had created smurf accounts under offensive names to taunt her, using titles like “kaycreighisahoebag,” among other such insults. Zekromm’s Twitch chat even got in on the action, with some users boasting that they had also created fake accounts to harass Creighton. There are HOURS of vod footage in which they are being misogynistic and toxic, as well as telling their chat to go over and troll her. pic.twitter.com/YtfCzXgOvU — Jack (@Purplecliffe) May 5, 2019 Creighton’s response to the hate Creighton herself appeared to take the vitriol in stride, posting a series of Tweets on the subject that poked fun at the streamers’ hateful comments. “Apparently I’m a ‘pair of tits who sucks at Pokémon,’ and I find that super insulting,” she wrote of the bullying. “I have a nice butt too, okay?” apparently i’m a “”pair of tits who sucks at pokemon”” and i find that super insulting. i have a nice butt too, okay? — Kaylynn Creighton (@kaycreigh) May 5, 2019 However, that didn’t stop Creighton from calling for an end to the harassment in a following Tweet, writing, “No need to continue the cycle of harassment by going after these people, but this sort of thing needs to stop.” Here’s a thread of *some* of the harassment that has been going on. No need to continue the cycle of harassment by going after these people, but this sort of thing needs to stop. Ty for all the supportive tweets and messages so far- won’t be able to respond to all, but tysm. https://t.co/7Ahgy6sVdL — Kaylynn Creighton (@kaycreigh) May 5, 2019 While Zekromm himself has yet to apologize for the offense, streamer ‘TheMetaDeck’ has made three apology Tweets on the subject, asking for forgiveness from Creighton and claiming that he was drunk when the bullying occurred. I don’t want to make excuses. My stupidity is my stupidity. So id rather just keep it to my apology. Drunk or not drunk. I shouldn’t have said or done anyone it. That’s that. — TheMetaDeck (@themetadeck) May 5, 2019 Twitch community calls for bans The debacle sparked a slew of outrage online, with many users calling for a ban against all three streamers involved in the bullying. “Grow up,” popular YouTuber ‘aDrive’ said of the matter. “I’m sending this to Twitch and I hope you all get removed from this platform. Learn respect, it’s really not that hard.” Grow up. I’m sending this to twitch and I hope you all get removed from this platform. Learn respect, it’s really not that hard. — aDrive for 30% off GFUEL (@aDrive_tK) May 5, 2019 “Gonna report them for you, but make sure you forward all this evidence to Twitch,” another wrote. “People like this don’t deserve to be on the platform.” Gonna report them for you, but make sure you forward all this evidence to Twitch, people like this don’t deserve to be on the platform. — Rek (@RekcanaTV) May 5, 2019 The streamers have yet to be banned from Twitch as of May 5 – but mass reporting could see the group suspended in the near future.

Marzia shares sneak peek at how PewDiePie is spending his YouTube break – Dexerto
Marzia shares sneak peek at how PewDiePie is spending his YouTube break itsmarziapie, InstagramYouTube king Felix ‘PewDiePie’ Kjellberg might have announced a break from sharing videos to his channel, but his wife Marzia has revealed a sneak peek to show fans what they’re getting up to in the meantime. The Swedish content creator revealed last year that he was going to be taking a hiatus from the video-sharing platform in the early part of 2020, so he could have some time to himself, and he’s followed through with his plan. Since then, fans haven’t been able to catch up with him in what used to be very regular uploads to his channel. However, they do have other ways of seeing what he’s getting up to during the break, as his wife has been sharing some snaps of the couple on social media. The long-term couple tied the knot in August 2019, which was actually the last time PewDiePie was able to take a step away from content creation for a few weeks during their honeymoon. While some of his most loyal fans might have been hoping the break was enough to see him stick it out with regular YouTube videos moving forward, in December he delivered the news – claiming he had become “very tired” while maintaining his schedule. Now, though, just a few days after uploading what could be his last video on his channel for quite some time, on January 15, Marzia has given everybody an update on what they’ve been up to since. It looks like they’re having a lot of fun in Japan. https://www.instagram.com/p/B7ixoWBHMtz/ The Italian uploaded four snaps to her official Instagram account on January 21 and it looks like they spent some time inside an arcade, taking photos of a small bowling machine as well as other games. These pics were followed up by some more taken at the Gōtokuji Temple in another post, which is a Buddhist temple located in the country’s capital city, Tokyo. https://www.instagram.com/p/B7noggWnr2r/ He has previously hinted that a permanent move to Japan could be on the cards, claiming to have bought a house there back in September 2019, but it’s unclear as to how long they will be staying there this time around. PewDiePie hasn’t really put an exact timeframe on his break from YouTube and while fans might be a little upset that they’re not getting their weekly fill of his Meme review videos and the likes, they will surely be delighted to see the married pair having a great time until he returns.

Marvel fans are angry Bo Burnham won Grammy Award over WandaVision – Dexerto
Marvel fans are angry Bo Burnham won Grammy Award over WandaVision YouTube: boburnham / MarvelMusicVEVOMarvel fans were furious when comedian Bo Burnham beat out Disney’s WandaVision for a Grammy award during the annual music awards show. Musicians all around the world gathered in Las Vegas on March 3 to attend the 64th Annual Grammy Awards. The televised show celebrated the industry’s biggest musical moments over the last year. Some Marvel fans were not too happy with the event, however, after Bo Burnham won for the ‘Best Song Written For Visual Media’ category. The 31-year-old comedian’s Netflix single “All Eyes on Me” beat out the viral “Agatha All Along” song from WandaVision. Marvel fans think WandaVision was snubbed at the 64th Grammys In 2021, the Recording Academy sparked backlash when they announced that Bo Burnham’s Netflix special ‘Inside’ would be disqualified from the Grammys’ Comedy Album category. Despite the setback, the former YouTuber scored his first-ever Grammy during the April 4 ceremony for his single “All Eyes on Me.” The comedian’s win kicked off another uproar, however, after some Marvel fans became upset with the decision. The former YouTuber’s victory etched out the wildly popular “Agatha All Along” musical number from Disney’s WandaVision which made its debut at the beginning of last year. Fans of the major comic-book franchise believed that Hollywood actress Kathryn Hahn, who performed the infamous track, was snubbed at the annual awards show. “All Eyes On Me” by @BoBurnham has won ‘Best Song Written For Visual Media’ at the #GRAMMYs. pic.twitter.com/MfFL3gbIlh — Pop Crave (@PopCrave) April 3, 2022 Frustrated Marvel viewers took to social media to voice their anger and even got WandaVision trending as a result. “Agatha all along deserved,” a user wrote in reaction to the award. “Mother [Kathyrn Han] was snubbed booo,” another posted. “Agatha all Along was robbed,” and “Wandavision was snubbed,” several other tweets read. There we even some accounts claiming the Grammy win was “rigged.” While some were certainly not happy about the award, fans of Burnham were ecstatic with his victory. Many praised the young comedian for winning both an Emmy and Grammy award just at the age of 31. Those defending the comedian also pointed out that Bo Burnham’s Inside went #1 on Netflix for months when it made its debut in 2021 and several songs off the special such as “All Eyes on Me” and “Jeffery Bezos” were also massive hits on TikTok.

Marques Brownlee explains why YouTube Shorts is better than TikTok – Dexerto
Marques Brownlee explains why YouTube Shorts is better than TikTok YouTube: FlagrantTech YouTuber Marques ‘MKBHD’ Brownlee shared his thoughts as to why YouTube Shorts is better than TikTok during a recent episode of Flagrant with Andrew Schulz. Although TikTok has grown to be the leading platform for short-form videos over the last few years, websites like YouTube and Instagram have adopted their own ways to host similar content. A major topic of discussion with the platforms, however, is how you earn money on each platform. TikTok’s Creator Fund has been slammed by many creators in the past, while YouTube is set to bring Shorts creators into the partner program for better monetization. Marques Brownlee, one of the top Tech YouTubers on the platform, explained his thoughts as to why YouTube Shorts is better for creators than TikTok during a conversation with Andrew Schulz. Marques Brownlee explains why YouTube Shorts beats TikTok During the November 1 episode of the Flagrant podcast, Andrew Schulz asked Marques what he thought about TikTok and other short-form video platforms. After explaining that his most viewed piece of content is on TikTok, he mentioned that its monetization process still needs a ton of work. “They are behind on monetization and the creator creature comforts that YouTube has been so good at for so long,” he explained. “YouTube is going to let us monetize Shorts next year, they’re showing Shorts to people all the time, and they’ve kind of started to set the bait for full-time TikTokers to become YouTubers.” (Topic starts at 34:42) Andrew Schulz chimed in on the topic as well, explaining that he thinks YouTube Shorts in the long run will beat out TikTok, making the Bytedance-owned company “redundant.” Marques replied: “I think they can exist at the same time until one of them becomes less cool.” While it’s impossible to tell exactly what will happen with the two popular platforms in the future, it seems TikTok may meet its fate sooner than later.

Martin Scorsese claims he was “tricked” into his newfound TikTok fame – Dexerto
Martin Scorsese claims he was “tricked” into his newfound TikTok fame Instagram: martinscrorseseMartin Scorsese claims he was “tricked” into taking part in TikTok videos by his daughter, the Hollywood icon explaining that he was surprised and unaware of just how popular these videos have become. Martin Scorsese is one of the most well-known and beloved Hollywood directors of the past few decades. Having helmed movies such as Taxi Driver, The Wolf of Wall Street, and many more, Scorsese films boast impressive casts and often pile up a raft of awards. And while he is known to dedicated moviegoers, the director has also found a new audience in the least likely place, on social media platform TikTok. The 80-year-old has been going viral on TikTok thanks to a series of videos including him guessing the meaning of slang words, movie ranking videos and even clips of him pretending to cast actors in his films. But how and why is the old-school director making such viral content on TikTok? According to a new interview he did with the Los Angeles Times, fans have his daughter to thank for his newfound presence on the app. “I was tricked into that,” the director began. “That was a trick. I didn’t know those things would go viral. They say it’s viral. I didn’t know.” His daughter, Francesca Scorsese, has begun including her father in various TikTok videos. The latest one, which involved Martin ranking his favorite movies, has almost 3 million views on the platform. As well as this, another video of the director awarding a movie part to his dog has over 1 million views, Scorsese revealing “I didn’t know it was going to go up.” “I was just doing it in the other room with her. I don’t know what they’re going to do. They always have those iPhone cameras in their hands. You’re not aware. I honestly did not know she was going to post it. They use the words ‘post it’, right?” Now that Martin Scorsese is aware of just how viral his TikTok videos are, time will tell if the iconic director chooses to lean into his influencer status or distance himself from the app. For all the latest entertainment news and updates, be sure to check out Dexerto’s full coverage here.

Fans instantly expressed concern on Twitter, prompting the YouTuber to joke that if they watched his new series, he’d eventually tell them what prompted his latest visit to the hospital. If you watch In Space with Markiplier I’ll tell you why I’m in the hospital again. — Mark (@markiplier) April 22, 2022 Why is Markiplier in the hospital? This latest news follows Markiplier’s stern message to CVS Pharmacy merely days prior, where he expressed frustration that the company hadn’t refilled his prescription and even seemed to remove it from their system, altogether. “You’ve been giving me nothing but trouble with getting a prescription filled for months and no one is giving me a straight answer,” he wrote. “And now this morning I found out that my prescription magically disappeared from your system. What gives?” Hey @cvspharmacy you’ve been giving me nothing but trouble with getting a prescription filled for months and no one is giving me a straight answer. And now this morning I found out that my prescription magically disappeared from your system. What gives? — Mark (@markiplier) April 21, 2022 It’s unclear whether this issue is related to his hospitalization, and the YouTuber has yet to explain further at the time of writing. This is far from the first time Mark has let his fans in on his health issues: in late 2020, Fischbach was rushed to the hospital over “intense abdominal pain,” and in 2015, he underwent surgery due to an intestinal blockage. Thus far, we don’t know if a similar issue is occurring in this latest instance — but his humorous update saying doctors are “waiting with bated breath for me to fart” gives fans a hint at what’s going on. Update: Still at the hospital but doing alright. Doctors are waiting with baited breath for me to fart as a sign that I won’t need surgery. — Mark (@markiplier) April 22, 2022 At least he’s in good spirits.

Markiplier’s Iron Lung movie to hit theaters: Everything we know so far – Dexerto
Markiplier’s Iron Lung movie to hit theaters: Everything we know so far YouTube: MarkiplierYouTube star Markiplier is directing his very first movie, Iron Lung, which is set to have a theatrical release in the very near future. Here’s everything we know about the horror film thus far. Markiplier is making the jump from YouTube to the big screen, revealing in 2023 that he’s currently working on his very first feature film. The YouTuber claimed that he’s writing, directing, and even starring in the movie, which — true to form — is a horror flick based on a popular video game. Here’s everything we know about Markiplier’s upcoming film, including its release date, premise, and more. What is Markiplier’s Iron Lung movie about? Markiplier’s debut film is titled ‘Iron Lung,’ and is based on a 2022 horror game of the same name. In the game, players play as a convict tasked with exploring an ocean of blood on a desolate moon after a cataclysmic event called ‘The Quiet Rapture’ resulted in the sudden disappearance of habitable planets and stars. All remaining human life was stationed on starships off-planet, resulting in a “crumbling” government and prompting a desperate bid for survival by searching the remaining, desolate moons — specifically, the ‘blood moon’ in the game. Markiplier Iron Lung movie trailer On April 21, 2023, Mark dropped the first trailer for his movie. In the short clip, the camera shifts from a view of the interior of the submarine from the game, complete with grimy PS1-style graphics, to a real-life view of the very same submarine. Although it’s just a short look into the project, it’s clear that Iron Lung was made with love in an attempt to recreate the game as closely as possible. On October 14, Markiplier dropped an “official” trailer for his upcoming movie, which gave fans a closer look at what they’ll be in for. In the short clip, Markiplier’s character can be seen rising up from a pool of blood, presumably the blood ocean from the Iron Lung game. As ominous music plays, Mark repeats lines from a note that players find inside the game, which appraises them of the hopelessness of their situation. We’ve also received a first look from the flick thanks to a photo seemingly taken on set provided by Deadline’s Ima Leupp, seen in the tweet below. When does Markiplier’s Iron Lung movie come out? Thus far, there’s no release date listed for Iron Lung. However, Markiplier has released a few key details about its development, which he’s shared in live streams and videos with fans throughout the past few months. Most recently, in a February 7, 2024 VR video, Markiplier teased that production is nearly at the finish line. “I’ve been busy, I really have been,” he began, apologizing to fans for the irregular content schedule of late. At least, irregular by his standards. “Iron Lung has been taking over my life. But don’t worry, it’s actually almost done. “Almost been a year straight now of effort, but it’s gonna really be worth it, I can’t wait for you to see it.” Could this be indicative of a late 2024 release? That’s anyone’s guess for the time being, but if work on the film indeed wraps up in the coming weeks, it’s certainly possible we see it by the end of the year. Is Iron Lung getting a theatrical release? Mark has also confirmed that his Iron Lung film will be getting a theatrical release, although the exact details about this are still unknown. In Markiplier’s October 14 trailer, he claimed that the film will be “coming soon to theaters.” Is Markiplier starring in his Iron Lung movie? Yes, Markiplier is acting in his debut film. In an interview with Variety, the YouTuber revealed that he is writing, directing, and acting in the movie, and even performed “most” of his own stunts. During a livestream on Monday, April 17, the YouTuber claimed he actually hurt his back doing a stunt that was more over-the-top than the others he’d done. Is Iron Lung’s creator in the movie? Mark isn’t the only major star in the film, either; in fact, Iron Lung’s creator, David Szymanski, has also been helping with the movie. According to a tweet from the developer, he’s been “heavily involved” in the flick’s production, and even has a “small cameo” in it. The project is still being worked on at the time of writing, and other details are sparse — but we’ll be sure to update this page with more news that comes out about Mark’s film right here at Dexerto.

Markiplier throws shade at YouTube after segment was cut from Game On event – Dexerto
Markiplier throws shade at YouTube after segment was cut from Game On event YouTube/MarkiplierMarkiplier, one of the biggest YouTubers on the platform, just had his segment cut from the YouTube Game On livestream event with no warning – and judging by his response, he isn’t happy about it. The YouTube Game On event was marketed as an event where chatters in the stream can make choices to determine the outcome of what’s happening on stream. Prompts would come up on the screen with choices that viewers got to make, and, depending on which choice chat voted for, things would play out differently on stream. Big names like Bella Poarch, Sykkuno, and KSI were participating in the event, along with a brief Hot Ones segment. This was a massive live stream event with a ton of creators involved, but someone was missing. Where’s Markiplier? Markiplier was set to participate in this event and was even present in the marketing for the event that was put out by YouTube itself. However, fans of Markiplier noticed that his segment of the stream was a bit short. After the event, Markiplier made a tweet confirming that an entire segment he created for this stream was cut from the final product. And it wasn’t just him, either. Markiplier collaborated with other YouTubers to put this event together, only for it to be cut. Markiplier said that his portion of the live stream was cut “without warning”, and that he’s going to upload it on his own YouTube channel instead. A fan noticed that Markiplier’s name was still in the timestamps for the video, along with the fact that the timestamps are generally out of order and completely inaccurate when compared to the timings on stream. The only time that Markiplier showed up on stream was a brief cameo right around the 1 hour 17-minute mark in the live stream, which is far off from his set timeslot. Meanwhile, the main YouTube account put a tweet under Mark’s announcement telling his fans to come into the stream to see the content he made for it. YouTube has yet to comment on the matter.

Markiplier trends after 2023 Streamy Awards as fans claim he was “snubbed” in losing to Dream – Dexerto
Markiplier trends after 2023 Streamy Awards as fans claim he was “snubbed” in losing to Dream Streamy Awards / Instagram: markiplier / Instagram: dreamwastakenMarkiplier is trending online after many claimed he was “snubbed” at the 2023 Streamy Awards. With Dream taking home Gamer of the Year instead, Markiplier’s fans are making sure their disapproval is known. The 2023 Streamy Awards have officially been handed out and one big name missed out on taking home the crown that many felt he was entitled to. Markiplier was nominated for the Gamer Award once again, after having won the 2022 award, but this time around, he ultimately lost to Dream. Considering some of the controversies surrounding Dream and the vast difference in how much gaming-specific content each creator released this year, many fans feel the award was given to the wrong person. Now they’re taking over Twitter to express their shock and disappointment, with the general consensus being that “anyone but Markiplier winning gamer of the year just feels wrong.” Why do fans think Markiplier should have won Gamer of the year? The Streamy Awards are a celebration of online excellence, recognizing creators for shaping digital entertainment and their influence within various communities. With over 30 million subscribers and more than 170 gaming streams to his name, fans were sure Markiplier would be taking home Gamer of the Year for a second time. Last year he took home two awards, Gamer as well as Best Scripted Series, however, this year the YouTuber left empty-handed. Instead, with five relevant streams released this year, Dream was awarded the top Gamer title. A title that many — including Dream himself — didn’t expect him to win. This has sparked an online debate surrounding the bias of fan voting as well as content diversity and quality. Not only do Markiplier’s fans feel his achievements deserve more recognition, but many feel giving the award to Dream is disrespectful considering the allegations made against him. Why is Dream so controversial? Dream came under fire after grooming allegations surfaced on Twitter. A user of the platform, Anastasia, claimed the streamer would flirt and ‘sext’ with her when she was still a minor. Anastasia shared screenshots of conversations she claimed were with Dream, alleging he used a burner account to interact with her while she was 17. As of right now, these allegations are yet to have been confirmed. Dream has also been accused of racism after an old YouTube video surfed in which he allegedly used a racial slur. However, he has adamantly denied these claims. In a March 25 tweet, Dream stated, “People are sharing a video of some random guy saying the n-word and saying it’s me, as well as a random account with a gross name history and saying it’s mine… Neither are me very clearly. People are disgusting.” Award or not, it is undeniable that Markiplier has had a huge impact and influence on the YouTube and Gaming community. And whether or not you believe Dream deserved his win at the Streamy Awards, it seems Markiplier at least is taking the loss well. He tweeted a photo of himself holding his Gamer award from the previous year, jokingly captioning “What an honor guys. Thank you #streamys for this incredible win.” Fans went along with the gag, congratulating him for the title they felt he had earned.

Markiplier supports actors strikes and jokes he’s going ‘on strike’ against himself – Dexerto
Markiplier supports actors strikes and jokes he’s going ‘on strike’ against himself YouTube: MarkiplierYouTuber Markiplier has showcased his support in a livestream where he stood in solidarity with the actors and writers who are on strike. Mark Fishbach, more widely known as Markiplier, shared his support for the strikes with 35 million followers – while his own movie Iron Lung is in production. The one-hour-long live stream of the influencer revealed he is on strike as well. “I’m on strike, apparently,” he said and continued, “I’m walking out on my work, I’m not taking this anymore until my boss treats me with the respect I deserve.” However, Mark was joking, as he is self-employed and even his movie is part of his own production, clarifying that he is merely poking fun at the situation but stands firm with the actors and writers. Markiplier backs strikes The YouTuber revealed he was a member of the SAG-AFTRA as he used to appear in union productions. Although he was in support of the strike, he revealed his confusion about how his own strike would work. He said “I’m all for the strike,” while talking about the new practices recommended for the Hollywood industry where they would use AI for free in the place of extras. However, he continued, “I don’t know who I take it to.” “I don’t know who I’m going to, I don’t know where I picket, I don’t know what I’m supposed to do,” he continued. “Am I even allowed to stream? I don’t even know what I’m doing.” He revealed how this was a defining moment for the industry to modify rules about burgeoning concerns. However, he also admitted his main priority is to get his horror game-inspired movie adaptation to his fans. Mark says he will continue his production The content creator shared, “It’s not like there’s a production company making my movie, it’s just me. So I don’t know. Do I strike against myself? I don’t know what to do.” Markiplier admitted to not knowing how to go about things but has assumed that he can continue working on his project. “I think I’m fine editing it, I don’t think there’s any problem with that,” he said. “And I’m fine making it because I funded it. Unless I’m striking against myself, I’ve really got nothing to object against.” He also shared that this is confusing to him and he is unsure if anybody is paying any attention to what he chooses to do. The influencer added, “Hollywood in general barely gives me the time of day, let alone probably care.” He was referring to the “awkward” encounters he has had with the mainstream entertainment industry as he gets ignored on red carpet events. Markiplier addresses Anthony Mackie’s comments Fishbach also discussed his opinion on actor Anthony Mackie’s comments in June where people thought he was looking down at internet celebrities. “It’s a sh*t show if we go on strike,” Mackie revealed while adding that producers will have to come to an agreement. “They’re going to have to. Unless they get a bunch of fucking YouTubers to make Avengers 5!” Although Mark still stood by the actors and writers in this strike, he shared his thoughts, “Hey, hold on a second, what did we do to you? What did we ever do to you?” The influencer added that the actor might have had good intentions and that all YouTubers aren’t “jerks”. He said, “I think I’m kind of nice sometimes.”

Markiplier teases mysterious new “space” project and fans are confused – Dexerto
Markiplier teases mysterious new “space” project and fans are confused YouTube: MarkiplierMarkiplier is in the midst of creating the upcoming sequel to his YouTube Originals film ‘A Heist with Markiplier’ — but he’s just unleashed a cryptic teaser trailer that’s leaving fans equal parts confused and excited. Mark ‘Markiplier’ Fischbach is arguably one of the most popular content creators on YouTube. First getting his start playing indie horror games in 2012-2013, Mark has gone on to accrue over 29 million subscribers and a highly dedicated fanbase. In 2019, Fischabch unleashed his very own interactive comedy flick, ‘A Heist With Markiplier,’ coming off the success of YouTube’s ‘Scare PewDiePie’ three years prior. In 2021, Mark flew to Austin, Texas to film a sequel to the movie, and was even uploading YouTube videos in his new accommodations for some time. While fans await this exciting new project from their favorite influencer, he’s released a new trailer for… something. On September 3, Markiplier tweeted out that he would be uploading his 5,000th video. He followed up this statement with a 45-second long YouTube clip cryptically titled, “Everything has to end.” The video only contained a few lines of text set to some unsettling sound effects, which read, “In Space with Markiplier,” and, “Coming soon.” Fans are confused as to what, exactly, the trailer is promoting. It could be that the second part of Heist will be set in space, which would be an unexpected but exciting development for viewers. On the other hand, some fans wonder if this isn’t hinting at a more mysterious project akin to Unus Annus (in Latin, “one year”), a YouTube channel that Mark started with fellow creator Ethan Nestor-Darling that was only active for a single year. In that time, the channel managed to gain 4.58 million subscribers and well over 867 million views before being deleted and all merchandise removed. The experiment was a massive success and became a viral hit on the platform. It’s also worth noting that Mark is also working on a dystopian science fiction television series based off of his podcast, ‘The Edge of Sleep.’ The show was initially slated for some time in 2021, although it’s unclear now when the series will be released. For now, fans have an entirely different ball of wax to focus on… one that will apparently put their favorite content creator into Earth’s orbit.

Markiplier slams YouTube over “huge problem” affecting his fans – Dexerto
Markiplier slams YouTube over “huge problem” affecting his fans YouTube star Mark ‘Markiplier’ Fischbach has hit out at the video platform after claiming that a number of fans were banned for participating in his stream’s chat. One of the biggest parts, for a lot of viewers of livestreams, is participating and interacting in one way or another. Be it helpful tips about completing a level in a game or joining in with some chat ‘spam’, the majority of viewers will play their part. However, the latter seems to have become a problem on YouTube, with Markiplier claiming that after a recent livestream, a number of his long-time supporters have completely lost their Google account by trying to participate in the chat. The popular content creator, who has over 25.5 million subscribers on the platform, revealed the problem in his ‘YouTube has a huge problem…’ upload from November 8. During the video, Markiplier explained that during a stream on November 6, he was asking his viewers to spam either a red emote or green emote to help him on his way in a game when, a few moments later, a select number of viewers were struck down for doing so. The YouTuber noted that neither he or his moderators didn’t realize that it was becoming an issue until around an hour and a half later, which he claimed was “way too long” to be a problem and that he didn’t know how many people had been affected. Obviously, fans didn’t stand idly by and appealed their suspensions, which have to go through YouTube’s review process – however, not many revealed an unban. When some took to Twitter to quiz the support account there, they were informed that nothing could be done. ”I tell you, nothing pisses me off more than that – not a thing,” said Markipiler on the tweets. “If they are lying saying that appeals are very carefully reviewed then they are just absolutely out of their mind lying.” The YouTuber even stated that he had only recently sung the platform’s praises and that making a video criticizing them may land him in hot water, but he also couldn’t stand by any further. As Markiplier noted himself, a lot of YouTube’s processes are automated because they don’t have the manpower to deal with everything, so it very much remains to be seen if they are able to, and do, make a change.

Markiplier stands up for Cr1TiKaL amid ‘unfair’ YouTube controversy – Dexerto
Markiplier stands up for Cr1TiKaL amid ‘unfair’ YouTube controversy YouTube: Markiplier / YouTube: penguinz0YouTube recently handed out a punishment that has been deemed unjust by the community with marquee names like Mark ‘Markiplier’ Fischbach coming out in support of fellow creator Charlie ‘Cr1TiKaL’ White. A recent upload from Cr1TiKaL on his popular YouTube account ‘penguinz0’ was hit with a strike from the video platform. Within a week the video was outright removed, leading to the start of an appeal process. Throughout his upload, Cr1TiKaL was “making jokes” over a “fake, staged video.” The clip in question featured individuals in costume as popular cartoon characters. They then got into a fake scuffle before running off-camera. Despite the clip seeming mostly harmless, “YouTube removed it for violent and graphic content.” This particular video has been re-uploaded dozens of times without issue, according to Cr1TiKaL. Yet his commentary was taken down without warning. “For some reason, they have decided to target mine,” he said, leading to a wave of support from fellow content creators. “They believed my video was genuinely disgusting, shocking, and overwhelmingly disturbing to the point that it needed to be removed from the platform,” he explained in a September 1 upload. While he tried to appeal the decision, it was quickly overruled as the strike was locked in place. “Confirming that a member of the team reviewed the video and the decision stands,” the official Team YouTube Twitter account replied. “That just confirmed no one watched the video,”Cr1TiKaL soon added. “Everyone I’ve talked to at YouTube doesn’t agree with this decision either.” As his community came out to show support and slam the strike to his channel, so too did fellow YouTube star Markiplier. He made a similar video “laughing” about the same fake fight. Cr1TiKaL questioned, “When will he be getting his strike?” “Fair is fair, Team YouTube, where’s my strike?” Markiplier said. Showing support for his fellow creator, he added the hashtag #AnswerUsYouTube to his tweet too. Fair is fair @TeamYouTube where’s my strike? #AnswerUsYouTube https://t.co/PL4tq9PNx4 — Mark (@markiplier) September 2, 2020 “I hope YouTube will do the right thing and recognize the strike was a mistake and get rid of it,” he said. Update, September 2, 11:17AM EST: Markiplier has now revealed that he too was given a warning on his channel against the video, indicating that the strike against Moist Critikal was not, in fact, a mistake. Because it is his first community guidelines warning, he does not receive a strike on his channel. So, Markiplier and Critikal now have the answer they demanded, but not the one they wanted.

Markiplier explains why he went to the hospital after disturbing selfie – Dexerto
Markiplier explains why he went to the hospital after disturbing selfie Twitter: MarkiplierYouTube star Markiplier shocked fans after revealing he got sent to the hospital on his birthday — and shared a startling picture of himself with bloodshot eyes. Mark ‘Markiplier’ Fischbach is one of the most popular creators on YouTube. Best known for his gaming content, Markiplier has gone on to accrue over 35 million subscribers on the platform over the course of his decade-long career. That’s not all; he’s also branched out into movies, creating two highly-acclaimed interactive series (one of which was nominated for an Emmy) and is currently editing his very first feature film, ‘Iron Lung.’ Since wrapping filming on the video game-inspired horror flick, Mark has finally returned to his (somewhat) regular upload schedule… but fans might have to wait a little bit for his next video to come out. Markiplier shocks fans with hospital selfie on his birthday On the evening of June 28 — Mark’s birthday (he’s a Cancer) — the YouTube star uploaded a photo of himself laying down in a hospital bed with a cloth draped over his eyes. “You’ll never guess what I got for my birthday,” he captioned the post. That’s not all; he also uploaded a photo of himself staring into the camera with bloodshot eyes and a busted lip, sparking some concern from fans (and, of course, some hilarious memes commemorating the occasion). Markiplier has since clarified that he didn’t get a surgery or wasn’t seriously injured. Rather, this came about from trying to set the record for most blood in a horror movie. “It turns out that sometimes if you go too deep in the blood this’ll happen, and you gotta go to the doctor to make sure your eyes aren’t melting out of your face.” So, according to his account, Markiplier was in rough shape from being literally covered in blood. This tracks for his work on Iron Lung considering that the premise of the source material is a dive into a moon filled with blood. He also promised there’d be a new trailer coming soon in his update video. Over the years, the YouTuber has been in and out of the hospital many times — most notably for intestinal blockages and “intense abdominal pain.” In fact, Mark actually had a non-cancerous tumor on his adrenal gland prior to his career as a famous YouTube star. He claimed that the incident prompted him to pursue his passion for content creation, and it’s been off to the races ever since.

Markiplier reveals how his tumor removal led to the beginning of YouTube career – Dexerto
Markiplier reveals how his tumor removal led to the beginning of YouTube career Youtube: IMPAULSIVEPopular YouTuber Markiplier spoke about how a tumor removal he underwent early on in his life is what led to the beginning of his YouTube career. Mark Edward Fischbach, known online as Markiplier, is a popular American YouTuber and has been creating content on the platform for over 10 years. On his YouTube channel he currently has over 33 million subscribers, with each new video generating more than a million views daily. On the latest episode of IMPAULSIVE, Logan Paul and company sat down with Markiplier to discuss a range of different topics. During the interview, Markiplier spoke candidly about his journey in becoming a YouTuber and how a severe “health crisis” prompted him to follow his dreams of becoming a content creator. “I had a tumor in my adrenal gland,” began Markiplier. “I remember being on a table for a CT scan and I was getting a biopsy…..I said omg, this is real, this ain’t a joke. And then I got the tumor removed, it was non-cancerous, thankfully.” Mark then revealed how his immediate reaction following this health crisis was to reflect on how little work he had done at that point in his life to manage his own life. “I was in the hospital and I was like holy sh*t, I have done nothing to control the course of my life.” Following the removal of his tumor, Markiplier went through a complete change in his life and discusses how this reevaluation led to his start on YouTube. “From that moment on, I was in my fourth year of engineering school and I was like, I need to do something that I actually appreciate and I enjoy and that’s when I started doing YouTube.” Now over 10 years on, Markiplier has created an empire of content. He of course has his YouTube channel but also works across podcasts, TV shows, and other social media platforms. Markiplier shares “unbelievable” story of how he broke his foot – Dexerto
Markiplier shares “unbelievable” story of how he broke his foot YouTube: MarkiplierYouTube star Mark ‘Markiplier’ Fischbach took to Twitter on February 21 to share that he “might have” broken his foot — and later confirmed the news in a hilarious story that sparked a huge outpouring of fan support. When it comes to pain and injuries, Markiplier is no newbie; the internet sensation has “cracked open” his skull playing on the stairs as a kid, broken his forearm in two places, suffered from severe appendicitis, and even had a “fist-sized” tumor removed from his adrenal gland around that same time (need we mention the epidural he received for the pain?). In fact, thanks to all his experiences, Mark created an entire video detailing his own views on pain, which is significantly skewed from the average person’s perception of less-than-savory physical sensations. Thus, when he broke the news that he’d broken his foot on February 21, his reaction to the issue was less than dramatic. In a humorous series of Tweets, Mark merely wrote: “Might’ve broken my foot,” followed up by, “Yeah it’s broke.” Knowing that his fanbase would be worried, the YouTuber went live shortly after leaving the hospital, claiming that he’d suffered a Jones Fracture. Jones Fractures are one of the more common foot injuries out there, affecting the bone on the outer side of the foot. Despite his high pain tolerance, though, Markiplier was very vocal about how much discomfort he was in. After a good 10 minutes of joking with his audience, Mark finally spilled the beans as to how he’d broken his foot: the YouTuber claimed that he was on a walk with his dog, Chica, when he’d accidentally caught his foot in a storm drain and rolled his ankle, subsequently breaking the outer bone. “You never know when danger is lurking around at every corner!” he laughed. “Those storm drains… they sneak up on you!” Read More: Who has the most posts on TikTok? – This is far from the first time Mark has had to receive serious medical care during his YouTube career; the influencer was sent to the ER due to an intestinal blockage in December 2020, and had also been hospitalized for another painful issue five years prior. Thankfully, it seems that the internet’s favorite gamer has received ample “boo boo kisses” from his fans to last him a lifetime and is recovering as best he can.

Markiplier reveals how “In Space With Markiplier” was almost ruined – Dexerto
Markiplier reveals how “In Space With Markiplier” was almost ruined YouTube, MarkiplierYouTube star Mark ‘Markiplier’ Fischbach has uploaded wacky videos for almost 10 years now, but when he uploaded a mysterious clip titled “Everything has to End,” his fans instantly erupted with confusion and curiosity. After creating his interactive film “A Heist with Markiplier” almost two years ago, fans were ready for a sequel. However, the YouTuber distracted everyone from the second flick by creating a special project with fellow creator CrankGamePlays just a month later, called Unus Annus – a YouTube channel that was only live for one year. With the end of their year-long project, interest in a sequel to Heist started rising again. Over the months following, anytime Markiplier referenced the second installment, he would say “Heist 2” or “the Heist sequel,” leading fans to believe the proposed second film would be similar to the original. “Everything has to End” and “Hello Friends” Fans of Markiplier were recently met given a short and cryptic video in which the title “In Space with Markiplier” flies onto the screen, making viewers wonder what the creator was actually up to. In a follow-up to the video a few days later, the YouTuber finally cleared a few things up, announcing officially that “In Space with Markiplier” is in fact the sequel to “A Heist with Markiplier,” and that the plot of the sequel was almost ruined by a friend. “I’d like to publicly shame a person,” he said, before joking that he was the “premier public shaming channel” on YouTube. Mark then explained that Wade Barnes, also known as ‘The Drowned Man,’ had been told about the idea for the sequel, and let it out on Twitter the day following the release of the first Heist video. Mark explained that he messaged Barnes: “What the heck man, delete that!” He then received a reply back explaining that Wade had thought the idea was a joke, and that’s why he replied to his tweet with it. The creator doubled down that “In Space with Markiplier” is, in fact, the sequel to the original Heist release, and claimed that it is coming soon. While he left us questioning exactly how soon that will be, fans are hopeful that we’ll soon see more updates regarding the video.

Markiplier reveals the “unfair” amount of money he makes on YouTube – Dexerto
Markiplier reveals the “unfair” amount of money he makes on YouTube YouTube: Anthony PadillaYouTube star Markiplier says his financial status changed dramatically after rising to internet stardom — so much so, that he calls it “unfair.” Mark ‘Markiplier’ Fischbach is one of the most prominent YouTubers today… and he has been for many years prior. The 32-year-old YouTube star has been creating content on the video-sharing website since 2012. He is best known for his humorous gaming videos, and generally plays horror games like the ‘Five Nights at Freddy’s’ series while sharing his commentary. Since his beginnings on the platform in 2012, Markiplier has witnessed a steady and meteoric rise to fame. He now boasts over 32 million subscribers and is often one of the first influencers to come to mind when folks are asked to name their favorite YouTuber. Due to his status as a high-profile online celebrity, it’s easy to think that Fischbach is rolling in the dough… but Markiplier says that the sheer amount of wealth he’s accrued during his career is even more jaw-dropping than most people likely think. “People don’t understand just how much money falls out of the YouTube bucket!” he exclaimed during a recent interview with fellow YouTuber Anthony Padilla. “It’s unfair.” “I’m not trying to brag or anything,” he continued. “I’ve wrestled with this a lot over the years — just how much money I suddenly fell into. It messed with me. I knew what it was like to not have. And then suddenly, I had, way more than I ever needed. I was like, ‘What do people even do with this?’” (Topic begins at 16:26) Mark says that he gives a large portion of his superfluous income to charity — something he’s been known to do for years now, having orchestrated numerous charity live streams in the past. Mark’s appearance on Anthony Padilla’s show follows the release of his interactive video series ‘In Space with Markiplier,’ Part 1 of which has accrued over 15 million views.

Markiplier hails boxing as a “beautiful sport” to Logan Paul Joining Logan Paul on the IMPAULSIVE podcast, Markiplier was asked by Logan “are you ever gonna box?” Markiplier, who is yet to enter the world of influencer boxing, explained “no, here’s the thing, I don’t wanna get punched in the face.” “I actually do follow boxing, I watch fight breakdowns, I’ve watched fights before. I like boxing, I respect boxing,” continued Markiplier. The YouTube said that “I think boxing is a beautiful sport, but I don’t wanna get punched in the face.” Though Logan has taken some beatings himself, the pair laughed off this decision as Paul understood his perspective. In the meantime, Markiplier has been working with VFX house Corridor Digital as an intern, learning their craft and the inner workings of the film industry. “I’m in their office, I’m their intern…I decided I wanna work with these guys…all those VFX videos are the ones that I love. That is inspiring,” Markiplier explained. While Markiplier has already achieved a multitude of YouTube accolades, the creator said working with Corridor Digital is an “exchange” as he offers suggestions from his own experiences: “I’m giving input on my philosophy of creation…I’m able to contribute in ways if they want to be algorithmically successful.” Despite Markiplier’s apprehension to get into the world of boxing, fans of the influencer scene can look forward to Paul’s collaborator KSI squaring up against Swarmz.

Markiplier reveals how he kept his YouTube career secret from his mom – Dexerto
Markiplier reveals how he kept his YouTube career secret from his mom Popular YouTuber Mark ‘Markiplier’ Fischbach has revealed how he managed to keep his YouTube career a secret from his mom, even while living inside the same house as her. Markiplier is one of YouTube’s biggest stars with over 24 million subscribers, and recently launched his own interactive series called ‘A Heist with Markiplier,’ where the decisions made by the audience dictates what happens in the story. The American regularly draws in millions of views on every video and is a fixture on the trending page of YouTube thanks to his loyal fanbase who tune in to every upload. While he’s now one of the top names on the platform, it wasn’t always so straight forward for the 30-year-old, who revealed how he was forced to hide his fledgling career from his mother while living with her during an interview on NBC’s Late Night, with Seth Myers. The YouTuber explained that he turned to the site at a “very dark time in [his] life,” while working an internship in which he was laid off, finding himself in a bad relationship, and discovering he had a tumor. After discovering content creation, Markiplier decided to pursue it, although his mother wasn’t the biggest fan of the idea, with the Hawaiian explaining: “My mom hated it. My mom hated it so much. My mom is Korean, she really likes the idea of me being in school.” “So for the longest time, I was lying to her. Not a good move. It was even worse, because I was living with her at the same time. I had to somehow leave the house for about four hours at a time, go to a Starbucks, and just sit around and wait.” Clip begins at 1:16 for mobile users. To make matters worse, the 30-year-old revealed that he had yet to share the story in person with his mother, revealing it for the first time on Myers’ show, with the host joking that he would love to tell him that they could cut it, but they weren’t going to. All’s well that ends well for Markiplier though, who has now firmly cemented himself at the pinnacle of YouTube, an incredible accomplishment despite his career’s secretive start.

Markiplier returns with creepy TikTok trend after “bodies in the water” went viral – Dexerto
Markiplier returns with creepy TikTok trend after “bodies in the water” went viral Markiplier, SCP FoundationYouTube star Markiplier has returned to TikTok for the first time since late 2020, and after spotting some curious clues, fans can’t help but think he’s part of the fictional SCP Foundation. TikTok has been the home of hundreds of viral internet trends over the last few years, from dances to “ghost riding” your vehicle. You can find just about everything on the short-form video-sharing app. Thanks to TikToks For You Page algorithm, a video from the SCP Foundation describing a lake labeled SCP-2316 which is described as an “anomalous sensory phenomena manifest” from late July of this year has resurfaced, terrifying users of the app. The video proceeds to go on, explaining that “this phenomenon convinces individuals that they recognize the bodies in the lake, and are compelled to aid them, often dying in the process.” Markiplier, while having over 29.7 million subscribers on his main YouTube channel, is known for his off the wall ideas, including gaming videos, character creations and even a channel project with fellow YouTuber CrankGamePlays called “Unus Annus”. Together, they uploaded a new video every day with plans to delete the channel after one year, proving that everything has a beginning and an end. Markiplier returns to TikTok Since his return to TikTok, he has posted six videos, with five of them being variations of the photo crop filter trend. The sixth is the one that has piqued the interest of many users. In a video captioned “just a fun little Q&A,” Markiplier starts the video off by displaying the questions, “Why are you on TikTok?” and “How is Chica?” followed by, “Do you recognize the bodies in the water?” all while the screen gets darker and darker, similar to how the eerie fashion the videos on the scp_realised account are edited. Is Markiplier behind the SCP Foundation? There are a few things that could potentially back up his involvement in the fictional project. The project is called the SCP Foundation, and documents a fictional organization that locates and contains entities that violate natural law. Not only is the YouTuber known for his creative and off-the-wall ideas, the timing of his TikTok return line up with more videos being posted on the scp_realised account – as well known facts about the fictional foundation being “located” under a lake less than three hours away from the town he grew up and started his career in. Many are considering the connection between Markiplier and SCP, including many comments on the TikTok video and throughout Twitter. What is the trend that Markiplier used in the SCP Reference video? The Q&A Trend – which is recorded with various hand movements in sync with the song “The Magic Bomb” by Hoàng Read – has been viral on TikTok for a few weeks now with over 3.3 million videos recorded to this sound, including a recent one by JoJo Siwa. Its been one of the most popular ways for big creators to answer common questions people ask in their comments.

Markiplier reveals he hurt his back performing stunt for upcoming film – Dexerto
Markiplier reveals he hurt his back performing stunt for upcoming film YouTube: MarkiplierYouTube star Markiplier is currently in the middle of filming his first-ever movie, but says he incurred an injury on set after performing a stunt. Mark ‘Markiplier’ Fischbach is one of YouTube’s most prominent content creators. Best known for his horror game playthroughs, Mark has also gone on to create two interactive YouTube series: ‘A Heist With Markiplier’ and ‘In Space With Markiplier.’ Both of these projects act as “choose your own adventure” games, taking viewers through an elaborate series of scenarios where their choices determine the main characters’ fates. Fischbach’s latest project, ‘In Space With Markiplier,’ was so well-received that it was nominated for a Children and Family Emmy Award — but the interactive film was ultimately snubbed in favor of Madrid Noir, an animated project for Oculus TV. It doesn’t look like this snub is setting Markiplier back, though. The YouTuber has openly claimed he runs on “f*ck you energy,” and is using his ire over his Emmy’s experience to fuel his next upcoming project… a feature-length film with a theatrical release. Mark opened up about his movie in a live stream on April 16, one day after he hosted the pre-show for Creator Clash 2. Although he was visibly tired, he was excited to let fans in on his upcoming film, and even told a story that raised fans’ eyebrows. Markiplier reveals back injury from movie stunt According to Mark, he ended up getting a fairly painful back injury while shooting a stunt for the flick — and due to the pain factor, they only ended up doing just a few takes. “I’m doing the vast majority of my stunts,” he revealed. “There was one stunt in particular that was particularly sketchy, and so there was a stunt double on the day, and he was in the scene first just to test it …just in case I didn’t want to do it.” “After he did it, he was like, ‘Yeah that really hurt.’ I went, ‘Okay, now my turn.’ And so I did that, and man, that was a gnarly one. We start at 50% energy on some of these things, and I do it, and I go ‘Bwoom,’ and all the air gets knocked out of my lungs. ‘…alright, let’s go to 75%.’” “When you see it in the movie, you’re going to know instantly which one I’m talking about,” he continued. “…let me tell you, that one hurt. That one hurt real bad. That was nuts. So, my back was a little f*cked up for a bit, but I did it, and then I was like, ‘Let’s not do that again.’” (Topic begins at 19:40) Luckily, it looks like Markiplier is in one piece and is continuing to work on filming his upcoming movie… which he claims fans will get a sneak peek of at some point later this week. This isn’t the only movie fans have been dying to hear about; in March, the YouTuber claimed that he “can’t say anything” about his possible involvement in the FNAF film, which is set to release in October 2023. Markiplier puts FNAF movie rumors to rest surrounding possible cameo – Dexerto
Markiplier puts FNAF movie rumors to rest surrounding possible cameo Blumhouse Productions / YouTube: MarkiplierMarkiplier has finally confirmed whether or not he will have a cameo in the Five Nights at Freddy’s feature film, putting all speculation to rest. Less than 10 days from its theatrical release on October 27, ‘Five Nights at Freddy’s’ is getting ready to make a splash in theatres. The beloved horror game franchise is being brought to life by Blumhouse Productions and, with so many fans of the terrifying animatronics, plenty of rumors have circulated regarding the upcoming film. One, in particular, theorized that Mark ‘Markiplier’ Fischbach would be making a surprise cameo. Now he is putting any and all speculation to rest, finally giving fans a concrete answer in his latest stream. Streaming a playthrough of Fazbear Nights (of course), Markiplier said, “I did want to talk about the Five Nights at Freddy’s movie. I know I have been very ambiguous about it, I know I have been very mysterious about it.” Featuring unique gameplay, creative lore, and a tonne of horrifying scares, it’s no surprise Markiplier has been a fan of the franchise since it (and he) first rose to fame. So, it only made sense for fans to assume he would be first in line when guest appearances for the film were considered. However, Markiplier came with some “crushing” news; “I am not going to be in the Five Nights at Freddy’s movie.” Giving his viewers time to “freak out”, Markiplier explained that scheduling issues had prevented the iconic cameo so many had hoped for. He said; “Let’s get this straight, it was supposed to happen… unfortunately, the Five Nights at Freddy’s movie and my movie, Iron Lung, were being filmed at the exact same time.” Despite trying his best to make things line up, in the end, Markiplier had to make the difficult call. However, for all left “disappointed”, there may still be a glimmer of hope on the horizon. Scott Cawthon, the creator behind the franchise itself, commented on Markiplier’s video; “If we’re fortunate enough to get to work on a sequel then hopefully we will have another shot at getting the King of FNAF into a FNAF movie! I can’t wait for Iron Lung in the meantime!” With a sequel already teased before the first film’s release, it looks like fans will have plenty to look forward to. Markiplier releases trailer for his Iron Lung movie based off viral horror game – Dexerto
Markiplier releases trailer for his Iron Lung movie based off viral horror game YouTube: MarkiplierYouTube star Markiplier has dropped the first trailer for his upcoming film called ‘Iron Lung,’ based on the viral horror video game of the same name that took over the internet. Mark ‘Markiplier’ Fischbach is one of YouTube’s most prominent content creators. Throughout his decade-long career on the site, Mark has accrued over 34 million subscribers and has even made two interactive series — one of which was nominated for an Emmy. Despite being lauded with praise across the internet, his ‘In Space With Markiplier’ series was snubbed by the Emmys in favor of another entry… but he’s not letting that stop his creative pursuits. Recently, Markiplier has teased that he’s directing and starring in an upcoming film. Up until now, we had no idea what this movie would be about… but all that changed on April 21, when he dropped the first trailer for his filmmaking debut. Markiplier drops trailer for ‘Iron Lung’ movie The cat’s finally out of the bag; Markiplier is at the helm of a movie called ‘Iron Lung,’ based on the iconic horror game that took over YouTube in 2022. The game follows an unsuspecting convict tasked with navigating an ocean of blood on a barren moon after the sudden disappearance of all habitable planets and suns following a cataclysmic event. Iron Lung was widely acclaimed by audiences for its eerie mood, creative premise, and horrifying take on thalassophobia (the fear of large bodies of water — and what might lie in those waters). Now, it looks like Markiplier is creating his very own adaptation of the video game for the big screen. In an interview with Variety, Mark revealed that he is writing, directing, and acting in the film, and in a live stream this Monday claimed that he even hurt his back performing a stunt for the upcoming flick. At the time of writing, there’s no release date yet penned for the film — but we’ll be sure to keep you updated on Mark’s filmmaking debut right here on Dexerto.

Markiplier hits out at book written about him without permission – Dexerto
Markiplier hits out at book written about him without permission YouTube: MarkiplierPopular American YouTuber Mark ‘Markiplier’ Fischbach has criticized a biographical book published about him, seemingly without his knowledge or permission. Markiplier is one of the biggest names on YouTube, regularly posting a variety of content to his 25 million subscribers. He is also one YouTuber whose success has transcended the platform, as he is regularly seen within ‘mainstream’ forms of media, alongside his online appearances. However, it appears that this fame has led to some unwanted coverage, as a book entitled ‘Top Video Gamers in the World – Mark Markiplier Fischbach’ has recently been published – seemingly without the YouTuber’s permission. In a March 7 YouTube video entitled “Someone Wrote a Book About me… Without My Permission?!”, Fischbach criticized the book’s author, Philip Wolny. Markiplier explained that he’s “not sure” what he’s going to do with regards to the book, but did mention bringing his lawyers into the equation because he’s unsure of the “legality” of writing a book about an individual without their permission. What proceeds is a comical dive into Wolny’s book about the YouTube star, in which Markiplier “hunts for the inaccuracies” and calls out Wolny on some of the misinformation in the book. Among other things, Markiplier calls out the book for already being out of date with regards to his number of total views and subscribers. In fact, the book’s tagline states that Fischbach is a YouTube star with “10 billion+ views”. The figure is now over 12 billion. Similarly, Wolny puts Markiplier’s subscribers at roughly 20 million. However, as Fischbach points out, he now sits at upwards of 25 million. “I think what happened is they just watched my ‘Draw My Life’,” he said. “Because they’re literally only referencing my ‘Draw My Life’, which at this point is outdated information. I made that video in like 2013.” The 30-year-old was also critical of the sections relating to his father’s death, describing that he feels someone just “filled in the gaps” and speculated emotions he may have been feeling. Markiplier’s frustrations appear to stem from feeling that a large portion of the book is inaccurate and misleading. It remains to be seen what action – if any – the YouTuber will take with regards to the book.

Markiplier pleads with “scummy” companies to stop knocking off his merch – Dexerto
Markiplier pleads with “scummy” companies to stop knocking off his merch Markiplier, YouTubeYouTube star Mark ‘Markiplier’ Fischbach is one of the site’s most popular content creators — but being a huge online entertainer also means dealing with copycats who have less-than-stellar intentions. Boasting over 25 million subscribers, Markiplier has a storied history on YouTube, having started his channel in 2012 with gaming reaction videos that quickly went viral due to his cheeky sense of humor. Since then, the YouTuber has fostered a hugely supportive community and has even used his massive platform for multiple charity drives — a concept he has continued with his merchandise sales. Although the full profits from all Markiplier’s merch sales go directly to a charity of his choice, it seems that some companies are giving fans the run-around by selling knockoff versions of his older designs online. Fischbach hit out at these knockoff merch hawkers in a video uploaded on April 23, where he examined a series of fake merch items found across the web, which included such oddities as a cross necklace, a bath mat, and even a huge cardboard cutout of his face. While he was pleasantly surprised and even humored by some of the knockoffs, he ultimately pleaded with merch hawkers to halt their operation, reminding them that by selling such items to fans, they are ultimately preventing money from his official merch from going to charity. “Listen, if you make knockoff merch that is just a rip of the merch that I’ve already made or have made in the past, stop,” he asked. “Don’t. Don’t do that. The stuff I sell on Markiplier.com is for charity. …and you taking those designs, and you selling it for profit, it’s scummy, and it’s wrong.” However, Mark revealed that he’s perfectly fine with fans making and selling fanart online, but reiterated that he doesn’t want his charity-specific designs being duplicated. “Don’t take the designs that were sold for charity and put them up,” he continued. “Okay? Cool.” This isn’t the first time Markiplier has hit out at legally-questionable products, either; the star also reviewed an unauthorized biography about him in March, making his most recent video the latest in an apparent string of knockoff heists.

Markiplier gives health update after Korea trip ends in illness – Dexerto
Markiplier gives health update after Korea trip ends in illness YouTube: MarkiplierYouTube star Markiplier has returned to the internet after catching an illness while traveling abroad to film an upcoming project. Mark ‘Markiplier’ Fischbach is one of YouTube’s most prominent content creators. Boasting over 33 million subscribers and regularly topping the site’s trending page, he’s become a household name in the decade since starting his channel back in 2012. While Mark’s regular upload schedule sees him publish videos multiple times a week, this past week saw him push out a little less content than usual, sparking concerns from fans. The YouTuber gave his viewers an update on September 16, revealing that he’d caught that particular virus, but assuring fans that he was alright and in recovery. He made his official return to YouTube over the weekend, going live on September 24 to explain what exactly had happened while he was out of commission. According to the influencer, he’d taken a trip to Korea to film an upcoming documentary about his mother’s book, called ‘Markiplier from North Korea.’ However, during his trip back home to the States, he caught the bug that put the entire world on hold — and described his symptoms as less than desirable. “I somehow made it this entire time without catching it, and recently I went to Korea, and on the way back — boy howdy, did I catch it,” he explained. “And boy howdy, does it suck.” Markiplier updates fans on dog Chica’s health Markiplier wasn’t the only one having health complications, either; he also claimed that his beloved pup, Chica, had suffered from heat stroke due to a combo of a “small infection” she’d picked up as well as the LA heat wave that took place while he was traveling. “While we were in Korea we got a call that said Chica, unfortunately, suffered from heat stroke. Now that sounds really scary, I know, and it was. …you can imagine our fear while we were in a completely different country and hear such news.” Luckily, both he and Chica are now in good health, with the YouTuber even bringing his good-natured Golden Retriever on camera for fans to see. This isn’t the first time Mark has been taken out of commission by health issues; back in April, the star documented his stay at a hospital in a humorous string of tweets — one of which said his doctors were “waiting with bated breath for me to fart” so he could be discharged.

Markiplier explains recent absence from YouTube: “It’s inexcusable” – Dexerto
Markiplier explains recent absence from YouTube: “It’s inexcusable” YouTube: MarkiplierOpening up to his viewers, Markiplier admitted he needs a break from content creation as he has to prioritize aspects outside of his life offline. Going live, Markiplier streamed himself playing Garten of BanBan 4 and opened up to his viewers as the game concluded, especially on the stressors that have impacted his ability to post frequently. “I’m doing my best, I’m editing up a storm, I’m getting things done, I want to get back into videos very, very soon,” Markiplier said. He went on to say, “It is inexcusable for me to just, like, let things slip like this, and I know it’s my own fault because I get busy.” Making it clear that he wasn’t apologizing for his attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder, Markiplier said, “I’ve been trying and I will, and I’m not like apologizing for my ADHD. That’s not what I’m apologizing for.” Markiplier has previously spoken candidly about his struggles with ADHD, which he said feels at times like “sandpaper rubbing” against his brain, preventing him from completing tasks. In regards to his latest break from posting videos, Markiplier said, “I’m getting things done that are important; some things do take priority like editing this movie does take priority.” The movie in question is an adaptation of the horror game Iron Lung, which Markiplier is directing. “But there’s no reason, in my mind anyway, that I can’t also, like, make videos at the same time,” the YouTuber continued. So for anyone worried about Markiplier’s drop in content, fear not. He is here to stay; “The reason I want to make a movie is because I really like making stuff. I like making big things, I like playing silly games, I like doing these streams, I like making content.” “But also, just like, I need to take more time to get things in order,” Markiplier concluded. We wish him the best in moving forward and finding a good work-life balance. Check out the latest entertainment stories here.

Markiplier explains YouTube absence with unexpected request for his fans – Dexerto
Markiplier explains YouTube absence with unexpected request for his fans YouTube: MarkiplierMarkiplier explained his sudden absence from making YouTube videos in a short vlog, where he asked fans to support his cousin’s business on Instagram. Mark ‘Markiplier’ Fischbach is one of the most prominent gaming creators on YouTube. Boasting over 35 million subscribers, he’s been making videos for over a decade. Mark is more than a YouTuber, though. Over the course of his career, he’s also dipped his toes into making interactive series like ‘A Heist with Markiplier’ and ‘In Space with Markiplier,’ and is now creating his very first feature film, ‘Iron Lung.’ In the midst of this latest project, Mark has gone AFK a few times due to his busy schedule. His most recent absence saw him take a twelve-day break from uploading videos — something that took place shortly after another absence from the platform. Markiplier explains where he’s been amid YouTube absence On September 29, Mark updated fans about where he’s been in a six-minute video, explaining that he’s currently visiting his family in Korea and celebrating a national holiday, ‘Chuseok.’ That’s not all; he also claimed that he’s looking into making more content that explores his Korean heritage in a shift from his usual gaming videos. “I want to really get in touch with who I am, and I wanna invite you along for the journey,” he explained. “I want you guys to also see Korean culture and explore Korean heritage as I’m learning it.” He’s also looking into adding more Korean fashion into his clothing line, CLOAK, which he hopes to document for his channel next year by collaborating with other creators. Fans flood Instagram account of Markiplier’s cousin with positive messages To wrap up his update, Markiplier asked his fans to go follow his cousin on Instagram, who is a hair stylist for major K-Pop bands like BIGBANG. According to Markiplier, hair stylists in that industry tend to get more work based on their social media presence — and since her following isn’t as great as others in her line of work, Mark says she could use all the help she can get. Markiplier also claimed that his cousin tends to be the target of harassment online due to her profession and urged his fans to send some positivity her way. Already, oodles of fans have flooded her comments section with positive remarks, and she’s gained over 30k followers in mere hours since the video was uploaded. (Topic begins at 4:00) On top of that, Mark also says that his mom wants to start her own YouTube channel, which he’ll help her do — so it looks like fans will be getting even more content from their favorite YouTuber’s family in the near future. For now, it’s unclear when Markiplier will return to making regular content, but fans are excited for what’s coming up next based on this latest update.

Markiplier drops new bloody trailer for Iron Lung movie – Dexerto
Markiplier drops new bloody trailer for Iron Lung movie YouTube: MarkiplierMarkiplier returned to YouTube after a lengthy absence to drop a brand-new trailer for his upcoming film, Iron Lung — and it lives up to his claims of being one of the bloodiest horror movies yet. Markiplier is one of YouTube’s most prominent content creators, boasting over 35 million dedicated subscribers after over ten years of making videos on the platform. However, he’s branched out from his horror game playthroughs to take on other major projects over the years, such as his interactive series ‘A Heist with Markiplier’ and ‘In Space with Markiplier’ (the latter of which was nominated for an Emmy). Now, Mark is making his ‘mark’ on the film industry by creating his very own feature film, ‘Iron Lung.’ The movie, based on David Szymanski’s famous indie horror game of the same name, is already a highly-anticipated release —and fans have finally gotten a good look at what they can expect with a brand-new trailer. Markiplier’s Iron Lung movie “coming soon to theaters” Although Mark had uploaded a short trailer for the flick back in April, he dropped an ‘official’ teaser for the upcoming film on October 14. This new trailer shows the main character, played by Mark himself, standing in a massive pool of blood — presumably, the blood ocean found in the Iron Lung game. “This is not an expedition,” Mark says while ominous music plays. “It’s an execution. When they put you in here, they don’t want you to return. And even if you do, and even if they keep their promises, what freedom waits for you?” Mark’s dialogue seems to be taken from the Iron Lung game itself, from a note that players find on the floor of the haphazardly-built submarine they pilot at the bottom of a bloody ocean on a desolate moon. Although Mark’s latest trailer didn’t include a release date, the YouTuber did say that the film is “coming soon to theaters.” That’s not all; Mark’s trailer seems to live up to his claims of possibly breaking the world record for most blood in a horror movie, something that actually got the YouTuber hospitalized. Fans are more excited than ever for Mark’s project following his newest trailer. For more news and information about Markiplier’s Iron Lung movie, be sure to check out our hub right here on Dexerto.

Markiplier cringes after rediscovering his own 7 year old audition tape – Dexerto
Markiplier cringes after rediscovering his own 7 year old audition tape Markiplier – YouTubeSuperstar YouTuber Mark ‘Markiplier‘ Fischbach found an old voice acting audition tape for a Minecraft show from several years ago, and could do nothing but cringe while playing it on his recent YouTube video. As one of the most subscribed-to YouTubers on the planet at 24.4 million, Markiplier is a man of many talents, such as on-screen entertainment, singing, hosting a thriller podcast, and more. Voice acting, apparently, is also on that list, and was a passion of his at some point years ago – at least that’s what the contents of his SoundCloud page would suggest. This is because his SoundCloud page only contains one audio file – an audition to voice act for a Minecraft-based YouTube series from years ago. Read More: MrBeast responds to bullying accusations – “I have only one thing on my SoundCloud, and that is an audition to HATventures, which is this Minecraft series from so long ago that was on another channel that I was auditioning to be a part of,” he explained, prior to playing the audio. “And they didn’t accept me! Their loss.” Now, seven years later, he’s rediscovered the tape and included it in a YouTube video titled ‘Hi,’ along with wild reactions he had while listening to it. If there is one word to describe his facial expressions and demonstrations while the audio was rolling, it would be cringe. When he didn’t have his face buried in his hands, he was able to pull off a smile, but it was one that screamed a combination of amusement, repulsion, and regret. After a minute of the clip playing, he could not take it any longer and had to press pause before any more of it infiltrated his eardrums. “Oh god! Oh god! I’m dying, I can’t listen to this. I’m going to delete this. You guys have two days to listen to this, if you want to listen to this.” (Segment begins at 14:25 mark for mobile users) One the fun and games were over, however, Markiplier did announce that he could possibly be putting his SoundCloud page to much more use in the near future. “I don’t know if I’m actually going to make anything in the very near future, but if I do make stuff, I will put it here, I guess,” he said. “I don’t know. It’s probably going to be a lot of crap, but it is something that I want to do. I want to have a safe place to play around with, a safe place to chuck garbage at, like this here, and no one can judge me.” There you have it, so if you’re interested in keeping up with what the superstar YouTuber may be cooking up in the creative department, be sure to stop by his page from time to time.

Markiplier claims his movie Iron Lung will release “real soon” – Dexerto
Markiplier claims his movie Iron Lung will release “real soon” YouTube: MarkiplierYouTube star Markiplier recently claimed that his highly-anticipated movie ‘Iron Lung’ will release “real soon” — but it’s still unclear when fans can expect to watch the upcoming horror flick. Mark ‘Markiplier’ Fischbach is one of YouTube’s most prominent creators, but he’s breaking out of the influencer mold in a huge way by directing and acting in his very own feature film, ‘Iron Lung.’ Iron Lung is based on an indie horror game of the same name, which follows a doomed inmate as they scour the floor of a blood ocean on a desolate moon in the hopes of securing their freedom within the confines of a makeshift submarine. Markiplier first announced the movie earlier this year, but with the ongoing actors’ strike in Hollywood, the YouTuber was initially uncertain about what he was and wasn’t allowed to do regarding the promotion of his movie. Although he assumed that he was fine to continue editing the film and supports the strike, it seems as though excited viewers might get the chance to watch it sooner than expected, based on his latest comments. Markiplier drops detail about Iron Lung movie release date At the very end of his August 3 video playing through the Five Nights at Freddy’s Ruin DLC, Markiplier made mention of his Iron Lung movie, and said that it would be coming out “real soon.” “Check out anything else I’m doing,” he said, making sure to plug his other projects like his ‘Distractible’ podcast. “I’m doing a whole lot these days. And I have a movie that’s gonna be coming out real soon.” (Topic starts at 13:35) Although this may have been a mere off-the-cuff comment from the YouTuber, some fans are taking it to mean that the film might be getting a release date sooner than anticipated. For now, any other details about the movie are shrouded in mystery — and given that the actors’ strike is still ongoing, Mark’s comments come at a confusing time for the industry. However, the YouTuber has promised that Iron Lung will be a bloody affair, claiming that he attempted to break the record for ‘most blood in a horror film’ (which earned him a trip to the hospital, as a result).

Markiplier explains how he climbed out of “rut” to hit huge YouTube goal – Dexerto
Markiplier explains how he climbed out of “rut” to hit huge YouTube goal YouTube: MarkiplierMark ‘Markiplier’ Fischbach has celebrated a massive milestone on YouTube, reaching 25 million subscribers on the platform, although he explained he had to climb out of some pretty big holes to make it there. Markiplier is one of the faces of YouTube, having gotten his rise on the platform almost a decade ago alongside the likes of Felix ‘PewDiePie’ Kjellberg and Sean ‘Jacksepticeye’ McLoughlin. The American content creator has changed his tone from his early days from gaming to a wider variety of skits, but his drive to keep making new videos has never stopped as he kept knocking down milestone after milestone. Hitting the 25 million subscriber mark on his main channel is another sign of validation for the wildly-successful Markiplier, who has described his life as being “exceptionally busy” in recent times. While he might not upload to YouTube as much as he once did, the American is constantly striving to pump out high-quality content, and feels a tinge of regret when he doesn’t. “I’ve been busy trying to get ahead because I don’t like not uploading. Contrary to popular belief of what people think, I actually don’t like not uploading things. “I enjoy making videos, and lately I’ve been enjoying making videos more than anything. It’s been a really satisfying experience in terms of just creating on the internet. It’s weird — I’m supposed to be burned out by this point.” For mobile readers, the related segment starts at 11:01. It wasn’t like that all the time though. The YouTuber was going through the motions at one point, uploading for the sake of uploading, rather than enjoying the ride. He was too focused on numbers, and every milestone seemed “insignificant.” “I haven’t really been celebrating a lot of milestones lately because in a big way, the numbers are not important. For all of you budding YouTubers out there, or if you want to be successful on social media, I would encourage you not to be focused on the numbers,” he said. “I’ve always made a big stink about saying ‘thank you,’ and to be perfectly honest, I think the reason I’ve fallen out of it is because I was in a rut for so long. I was in a little stinker of a rut. It hit around 17, 18 million subscribers and I started to wonder ‘okay what do I do now?’ “You’ve probably heard this a million times from other YouTubers and stuff, but for me — I’ve talked about it a little bit here — I was in a little bit of a rut. I started to shy away from the concept of thanking you guys for every single milestone because they felt less and less special each time. To get out of it, the YouTuber had to change his approach to life, not just how he was creating his regular content. “It’s really f**king hard to do what you want to do if you are not on top of the things that you are doing while you are doing it. In addition to trying to get my life in order in terms of the projects I’m working on, I’m also trying to get my life in order just in terms of my life,” he admitted. “Trying to get into a regular schedule, trying to get out of bed as soon I wake up, trying to stay on top of things I try to accomplish on a day-to-day basis, trying to get writing done where I can, squeezing it in where it is and where it does. Now, Markiplier is in the right space to keep pushing ahead, harder than he has before. “Right now, I’m in such a good place. I’m not going to get emotional about it, but seriously, thank you guys. Thank you for sticking with me for so long. Thank you for being with me through this journey,” he said. “I have a long way to go left on the things that I want to make, and I’ve got a ton of other things I want to do with doing what I’m doing.” The YouTuber also announced he had some major projects coming up, although he was tight-lipped on some of the details. A sequel to his YouTube original “A Heist With Markiplier” series is on the way, as well as some more content with Ethan Nestor for Unus Annus. His eyes are also up on more big milestones in the future, and he is ready to make good on a promise to celebrate every little joy with his loyal fanbase in the future.

Markiplier “can’t say anything” about speculation he’s in the FNAF movie – Dexerto
Markiplier “can’t say anything” about speculation he’s in the FNAF movie YouTube: Markiplier / Scott CawthonYouTube star Markiplier has finally spoken out on the suspicion that he could be making a cameo in the upcoming Five Nights at Freddy’s feature film. Wildly popular video game franchise ‘Five Nights at Freddy’s’ is finally getting the Hollywood treatment as Blumhouse Productions works on translating the iconic horror games into a major motion picture. Thus far, quite a bit of information has been released regarding the upcoming film, with Deadline reporting that Hackers’ Matthew Lillard and The Hunger Games’ Josh Hutcherson have been cast in the flick (although their exact roles are still unclear). Now, another big factoid has dropped about the movie — one that fans of the games have been waiting on ever since the news initially broke about Blumhouse’s forthcoming adaptation. Mark ‘Markiplier’ Fischbach is one of the most prominent content creators on YouTube, whose viral playthroughs of the FNAF video games skyrocketed him to the forefront of internet stardom on top of his pre-existing status as online royalty. It’s safe to say that Mark’s playthroughs of the series have become an integral part of the games’ community. So, naturally, fans were curious as to whether or not he’d be playing a role in Blumhouse’s FNAF movie. Markiplier responds to speculation of being in FNAF movie Fischbach spoke out about his speculation in a March 8 interview with Variety, where he admitted that he’s not actually at liberty to say anything about the movie… but he did reveal that there were quite a few conflicts with his busy schedule. “Everyone wants to know,” the YouTuber admitted. “There was a lot of confusion. Yeah, I can’t say anything particular about that. There was a lot of scheduling conflict. And I can’t say anything.” This recent statement lines up with another big announcement Mark made on his channel earlier this month, where he claimed he’s in the middle of filming a movie that he’s writing, directing, and even acting in — so it’s safe to say his project isn’t the Blumhouse FNAF flick. This is just the latest upcoming event for the star, who’s also slated to host a pre-fight show alongside fellow YouTuber JackSepticEye at the Creator Clash 2 influencer boxing match in April.

Markiplier announces he’s going to be in new Post-Apocalyptic TV show – Dexerto
Markiplier announces he’s going to be in new Post-Apocalyptic TV show Markiplier/YouTubePopular YouTuber Mark ‘Markiplier’ Fischbach has announced that he’ll be taking a break from videos to star in and produce a new Post-Apocalyptic TV show called ‘The Edge of Sleep.’ Markiplier has been a big-name YouTuber for years with over 28 million subscribers, and now he’s announced his latest venture: a brand-new TV show. The new series, called ‘The Edge of Sleep,’ is based on a story from his podcast of the same name. It starts filming next week, and is set to premiere sometime in May, according to Mark. The story follows a night watchman (played by Markiplier) who discovers everyone in the world that went to sleep the previous night while he was on shift have mysteriously died. He and a small group of survivors are forced to stay awake while they try to figure out the reason why this has all happened until they too, eventually fall asleep. Actors Analeigh Tipton and Eve Harlow will also co-star alongside Fischbach, who is working as the executive producer for the show, as well. After the series was officially announced, Fischbach uploaded a video explaining why viewers would be seeing a lot of new content on his channel in the weeks leading up to filming. “I’m going to Canada to film ‘The Edge of Sleep,’ we’re turning it into a TV show, that’s pretty cool!” the YouTuber said, adding that he had to spend 2 weeks upon entering the country in quarantine. “I will be in a hotel, doing absolutely nothing for two weeks, which means you guys get to see my descent into madness while I wait in a hotel,” he said, while promising plenty of videos in that time. There’s no word yet on exactly where you’ll be able to watch ‘The Edge of Sleep’ when it comes out in May. Whether it’s going to be on network TV, Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu, or something else remains to be seen, but we’ll update you with the latest info once we know.

Markiplier blasts “extremely underwhelming” Emmys after being snubbed for award – Dexerto
Markiplier blasts “extremely underwhelming” Emmys after being snubbed for award YouTube: MarkiplierYouTube star Markiplier took issue with his treatment at the 2022 Emmy Awards after his interactive online series, ‘In Space With Markiplier,’ didn’t take home the win for Outstanding Interactive Media. Mark ‘Markiplier’ Fischbach went viral earlier this year after releasing his second interactive internet show, ‘In Space With Markiplier,’ on YouTube. In a similar vein to his previous series, ‘A Heist With Markiplier,’ viewers are free to make their own decisions as the project’s main character and are aided by a host of other characters portrayed by popular YouTubers — resulting in a slew of alternate endings. ‘In Space With Markiplier’ had an increased budget and production value compared to its earlier counterpart. In the newer series, viewers are trapped in a space-time loop alongside their bumbling captain, Markiplier, as they attempt to fix the laws of the universe. In November, the show was nominated for the Outstanding Interactive Media award at the first-ever Children and Family Emmys, exciting fans across the internet. However, Mark’s series was ultimately passed over in favor of Madrid Noir, an animated project for Oculus TV. Markiplier pans Emmy Awards after interactive series snubbed Markiplier spoke out on the Children and Family Emmys during a live stream on December 11, where he called the award show “extremely underwhelming” and panned publications for failing to recognize him in spite of his nomination. “I was honored to go there, but as far as events that I’ve gone to, this was one of the more underwhelming events,” he admitted. “…it was extremely underwhelming.” “It’s really boring, and it’s really awkward, and it’s really weird,” he said of his experience at the Emmys’ red carpet event (which actually had a purple carpet this time), which he claimed he had “no desire” to participate in. “I was nominated for an award there, and all of the publications there still didn’t give a sh*t who I was,” he continued. “And this is fine. It’s not a moment where I’m like, ‘Do you know who I am?’ What amazes me is that, if any of them were to interview me, and put those videos on YouTube, they would do exceptionally well for their channels.” “It amazes me, because they didn’t just not know who I was — they actively didn’t wanna talk to me. It’s this world where the YouTubers and the traditional entertainment business are not in sync with each other. They are adamantly opposed.” (Topic begins at 2:22) Ultimately, Mark claimed that he wasn’t “mad” about his treatment at the Emmys, claiming that he and other content creators “don’t need” support from traditional media — especially considering the sheer amount of viewers they are able to pull in on social platforms, alone. Despite his Emmys snub, Markiplier is still swimming in success after fans literally crashed his long-awaited OnlyFans page that launched over the weekend.

Markiplier addresses fans after being rushed to hospital – Dexerto
Markiplier addresses fans after being rushed to hospital YouTube: MarkiplierUPDATE 12/3/2020 12:36 PM PST – Markiplier is once again trending on Twitter after revealing that he has finally had a bowel movement, effectively allowing him to be discharged from the hospital. In a hilarious turn of events, the hashtag “#hepooped” has been spreading across social media in wake of his simple tweet announcing the news. Good job on your poop, Mark. Original story follows: Mark ‘Markiplier’ Fischbach has given fans an update after being rushed to hospital on December 2, with the YouTube star saying he’s under observation for the next couple of days, but everything will be okay in the end. Markiplier was admitted to hospital on November 1 for what the YouTube star, with over 27 million followers, claimed was “intense abdominal pain.” “Hey gang, don’t want to worry you but had [to] take a quick trip to the hospital. Some intense abdominal pain but nothing life-threatening. Hopefully will be out of here in no time,” he said on Instagram. View this post on Instagram While it’s not the star’s first trip to hospital, having been admitted a number of times in the past, including having surgery in 2015 for a blockage in his intestines, his fans were obviously concerned. After that short statement though, he has since released a short video from hospital, detailing his “bowel obstruction” complications, and giving fans an update on when he will be healthy and normal again. “We did a bunch of tests this morning, a lot of scans, a lot of X-rays…to see if anything was moving through me. It looked like things were moving through okay, which is good…and we’re going to observe a little bit longer,” he said on December 2. “The doctor said that if I can have a ‘bowel movement,’ then everything is on the up and up. If you can poop then your intestines are working.” While the YouTuber won’t be back in action for another couple of days, he has managed to avoid yet another surgery. Until then, he’s going to rest up. “I’m going to be in the hospital for probably another night, just for observation so they can check up on me and make sure nothing is going to explode. It does look like I’ll avoid surgery this time, which is always a plus.” Plus, Markiplier has also dismissed a fan “theory” that has cropped up. The YouTuber released a 34-minute long video on Pop-Tarts just a few days ago, with many claiming that his new blockage was revenge for that. Fischbach appreciated the humor, but nevertheless, put it to bed. “I don’t think it was the pop tarts. I know there are a lot of theories out there about it being the pop tarts coming after me because I dared to diss Mr. Kellogg himself, but I don’t think he’s posthumously attacking me for my intestines,” he joked.

Markiplier and Crank’s “indoor tornado” experiment fails miserably – Dexerto
Markiplier and Crank’s “indoor tornado” experiment fails miserably YouTube: Unus AnnusMarkiplier and Crank’s plan to “flex on Mother Nature” with an indoor tornado didn’t exactly work as they wanted as the pair were left to go back to the drawing board and figure out what to do next. Markipiler and Crank are two of YouTuber’s most popular creators, racking up a combined 26 million subscribers. While they’ve been focusing on their own channels, the pair have begun collaborating on a separate project – Unus Annus. The channel name is Latin and translates into ‘one year,’ which is exactly when the pair have claimed they will delete it. Though, in the meantime, they’ve been uploading videos on a daily basis – tackling everything from creating a DIY bungee jump, being tased, and even eating fire. In their February 8 upload, the pair attempted to “flex on Mother Nature” by creating an indoor tornado. Seeing as neither of them can actually control the weather, they were attempting to create the phenomenon using dry ice, buckets of water, and a few powerful fans. The pair kicked things off by testing the waters with a few small drops of dry ice, which seemed to work at first as they created a small vertical funnel – though it didn’t quite resemble a powerful tornado. In a bid to expand on that small success, they attempted to speed things up by dropping more and more dry ice into hot water. However, that didn’t quite work – leaving the YouTubers with more smoke on the floor than above them, as they had planned. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S6qGOsKUReA Despite the early success of the smaller funnel, the pair failed in their quest to create something that they could claim to be an actual indoor tornado. However, they did note that they were going back to the drawing board. “I think [the way it worked] was because the hot water with the little bit was naturally rising but our intent to overdo everything killed it,” said Markiplier as they reviewed what had happened. Though they admitted defeat this time around, the pair did hint at the possibility of revisiting the experiment at a later date. Whether or not they will do so remains to be seen but, as of now, their attempt to “flex” on Mother Nature didn’t exactly go down a storm.

Mark Zuckerberg’s July 4th surfing post is so cool viewers can’t believe it’s real – Dexerto
Mark Zuckerberg’s July 4th surfing post is so cool viewers can’t believe it’s real Instagram: zuckFacebook founder Mark Zuckerberg posted a viral surfing video in celebration of the 4th of July, leaving viewers baffled. While many Americans celebrate the 4th of July by barbecuing on the grill and launching fireworks with their friends and family, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg celebrated a little differently. In celebration of the country’s independence from Great Britain, Zuckerberg surfed the sea with a drink in hand. In a 4th of July Instagram post gone viral, the CEO could be seen surfing while wearing a black suit with a bow tie. He was also holding the American flag while sipping a beverage with his other hand. Lyrics from the patriotic song ‘Born in the U.S.A.’ by Bruce Springsteen also played in the background, “Born in the USA, I was born in the USA.” However, netizens were confused about whether the video was AI-generated or real. Though he captioned the post, “Happy Birthday, America,” he did not clarify if the clip was fake or not. “Not AI-generated,” commented one viewer with a laughing emoji. The CEO then responded, “Pure 8-month recovery surfing with a dry start right here.” Zuckerberg’s mention of a recovery was associated with his torn ACL. In November 2023, he was training for an MMA fight and injured himself while sparring. He immediately had surgery to replace his ACL but would need months for it to heal. “Now that’s content,” added another. Zuckerberg then replied, “Just doing my part.” The video also received plenty of positive comments, as many agreed he was “too cool” and that the “boss knows how to celebrate.” This isn’t the first time Zuck has gone viral for his 4th of July celebrations. In 2023, he went hydrofoiling while holding onto a flag.

Marketing expert reveals how much Twitch streamers are really making – Dexerto
Marketing expert reveals how much Twitch streamers are really making During one of his own streams, N3RDFUSION CMO and former CLG CEO Devin Nash outlined the absolutely absurd amount of money that Twitch streamers are pulling in off of sponsorships alone, on top of the high amount they make just from streaming. The allure streaming on Twitch is self-explanatory. Entertain people and make money by playing video games. The type of content one sees on the platform has expanded over the years, to include making art, playing music, hosting podcasts, and much more. But the content itself isn’t the only thing that’s expanded on Twitch, so has the sheer amount of money that its top creators can rake in. So much so, that Nash warned his viewers of when top streamers or YouTubers claim they’re struggling, it’s more than likely not true. “99% of the time, they’re victimizing themselves and they don’t realize how well they’re doing,” he said. “The other 1% is someone not knowing how to monetize, and they’re not making money.” He then broke down a couple of examples of what top streamer’s take-home looks like, using the examples of MOONMOON and Pokimane to showcase how big of a difference According to Nash, the split between top streamers and Twitch when it comes to subscriptions isn’t 50/50, but instead 70/30. Allegedly, top streamers make $3.50 on a $5 sub. According to third-party tracker Twitch Stats, the same site Nash uses in the video, MOONMOON has roughly 25k active subs. That equates to somewhere near $88k per month just from subscriptions. Keep in mind that that’s a conservative number, that doesn’t include tier two or tier three subs. MOONMOON allegedly makes an additional $500 a day in donations by conservative estimates, adding another $180k to his yearly totals. Between just subscriptions and donations, his revenue is close to $1.2 million for the year. That number doesn’t include Twitch ad revenue, cheers, or bits, and he doesn’t have any sponsorship deals or a currently active YouTube channel. Nash compares that money to Pokimane, who he credits as being exceptionally smart when it comes to her monetizing efforts. If she gets the same split as MOONMOON for subscriptions, at just under 10k subs, she makes around $34k a month. But the drop off in money made from subscriptions is made up in other ways, including her own figurines. mini me – november 22nd – 12 PM PST 😁 pic.twitter.com/oLsYvEHCgp — pokimane (@pokimanelol) November 20, 2019 Sponsorships deals average somewhere between $15k to $20k per month for big streamers, according to Nash who also said the average is four sponsorships. If a streamer has the average number of sponsors at the average rate, that’s an extra $70k a month, which is an extra $840k for the year. Then you add YouTube to that number, where someone like Pokimane averages 500k views across two videos a week, and can add an estimated $144k to the yearly totals. This raised Pokimane’s yearly total, which includes Twitch subs, sponsorships, donations, and YouTube, to close to $2 million. Plus whatever she makes from merch and her beauty product line. Nash hinted that he’d do more revenue breakdowns in the future, for streamers like Ninja and Dr. Disrespect. We can only wait and see how the value of streamers will increase as livestreaming platforms continue to grow and expand.

Mark Zuckerberg’s BBQ sauce steals the show at Meta announcement – Dexerto
Mark Zuckerberg’s BBQ sauce steals the show at Meta announcement MetaSocial media users are confused after someone spotted a bottle of BBQ sauce in the background of Facebook’s name change announcement video. The biggest social platform in the world recently announced that they’re changing the name of the company to Meta. With this change, they’re not going to make changes to the existing social media platform. Instead, Meta is going to act as the umbrella company covering Facebook, WhatsApp, Oculus, and more. This past April, social media was left intrigued after Mark Zuckerberg was seen sporting a face full of sunscreen while surfing in Hawaii and a few months later he was showing his wacky side again by waving an American flag while riding his electric surfboard. Facebook’s founder and CEO is confusing social media again by slyly showing off his love for Sweet Baby Rays BBQ sauce in the background of the recent announcement video. Mark Zuckerberg BBQ sauce Right after the video of the companies name change went live, users flocked to Twitter to roast the social media mogul. People on the platform called the founder a “robot” and claimed that the whole video was an AI simulation. When someone noticed the bottle of barbeque sauce in the background, it was used as a way to back up these absurd claims. https://twitter.com/wickedshrapnel/status/1453828013628563457?s=20 Other people just simply questioned why Zuckerberg had the bottle of sauce on his decorative shelf, seemingly being used as a bookend: “Why does he have sweet baby rays bbq on the decorative shelf.” why does he have sweet baby rays bbq on the decorative shelf pic.twitter.com/qyytoSjv0z — conar (@subtoconnorpls) October 28, 2021 While the placement of the sauce bottle may seem rather peculiar to some, it appears that it’s simply an easter egg to show off the CEO’s love for the brand of sauce. In what appears to be an early video, Zuckerberg explained his love for being outside and cooking meat on the grill — and happened to name drop the sauce brand dozens of times. Zuck loves his Sweet Baby Rays pic.twitter.com/jMAmMAhx94 — Savvy☭ (@sleepisocialist) October 28, 2021 While many people may still be convinced that Mark is just an AI simulation built to control our minds with social media, it’s pretty clear that the bottle was just placed to show off the founder’s love for the brand.

Mark Zuckerberg trains with UFC champs for potential Elon Musk showdown – Dexerto
Mark Zuckerberg trains with UFC champs for potential Elon Musk showdown Instagram: StylebenderThe much-hyped potential fight between tech billionaires Mark Zuckerberg and Elon Musk continues to gain traction as the Meta CEO was pictured training with UFC champions. UFC champs Alexander Volkanovski and Israel Adesanya posted photos from their training session with Zuckerberg on Instagram, an event the Meta CEO dubbed “an honor.” In the photos, Zuckerberg, often perceived as more tech-nerd than athlete, showed off a surprisingly chiseled physique, sparking speculation that he might be serious about a potential showdown with Musk. It isn’t the first time Zuckerberg has trained with Volkanovski. The UFC featherweight champion, fresh off his fifth successful title defense at UFC 290, previously trained with Zuckerberg as part of a Metaverse virtual reality project. The champ also believes that the showdown with Musk could be more than just social media banter. “I think it’s going to happen. And I’m telling you, Zuck’s competitive,” Volkanovski said. “We know he’s already competed in jiu-jitsu, and he’s pretty athletic. He gets in there and I guess loves challenging himself, and this is going to be a challenge, something new, something exciting.” While the spectacle of two tech giants stepping into the cage could be written off as a publicity stunt, Zuckerberg’s physical readiness and commitment to the sport seem to suggest otherwise. With a background in Brazilian jiu-jitsu and an increasing alignment with the MMA community, the Meta CEO appears to be taking this feud seriously. And it appears that mixed martial artists are already picking sides in this potential billionaire brawl as Musk was recently pictured training with retired UFC legend Georges St-Pierre. The UFC has even started to monetize the feud, selling official merchandise branded with “Zuckerberg vs. Musk.” However, the proposed fight has not been without its critics. Some see the feud as an embarrassment, citing the juvenile exchanges between Musk and Zuckerberg on various social media platforms. A recent tweet from Musk proposing a “literal dick measuring contest” was met with ridicule as the rivalry between Zuckerberg’s Threads and Musk’s Twitter continues to heat up. Despite the controversy, UFC President Dana White appears optimistic about the fight, despite uncertainties regarding where or how it would even take place saying, “Whoever says no, every other state and country will say yes. It’s a billion dollars in revenue, this fight.” As long as Zuckerberg and Musk appear ready to step into the cage, the potential ‘Battle of the Billionaires’ will undoubtedly continue attracting global attention.

Mark Zuckerberg denies asking to fight Elon Musk at UFC 300 – Dexerto
Mark Zuckerberg denies asking to fight Elon Musk at UFC 300 Instagram: Zuck, ElonMuskA spokesperson for Mark Zuckerberg has denied that the Facebook CEO ever spoke with former UFC fighter Chael Sonnen, who claimed that Zuckerberg wanted to fight Musk at UFC 300. As reported by TMZ, a spokesperson for Mark Zuckerberg is denying that the Facebook founder ever spoke with Sonnen, who appeared on an episode of the MMA Hour on June 26, claiming that he’d just gotten off a call with him. During the segment, Sonnen claimed that Zuckerberg wanted to fight Musk at UFC 300, which is rumored to take place in April or May of 2024. “I have confirmed with Mark that he did not call Chael Sonnen,” the spokesperson reportedly said. Original story is as follows… Tech giants Mark Zuckerberg and Elon Musk could throw down at UFC 300 if statements made by former UFC fighter Chael Sonnen are to be believed. We’re definitely in the strangest timeline as Twitter CEO Elon Musk and Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg are apparently interested in seeing which social network comes out on top by facing off against each other in the octagon. The debacle started in late June, when Elon Musk said he was “up for a cage match” with Zuckerberg when Facebook announced it was looking to make its own version of Twitter called ‘Threads.’ This IRL ‘celebrity deathmatch’ is causing quite a stir online as the bout becomes more and more likely. Just last week, UFC President Dana White revealed he’d gotten in touch with both Musk and Zuckerberg, claiming they are “dead serious” about fighting each other. Chael Sonnen claims Zuckerberg wants to fight Musk at UFC 300 Now, another major bit of information has been potentially revealed. During an interview on the MMA Hour with Ariel Helwani, former UFC fighter Chael Sonnen said that he’d been contacted by Zuckerberg prior to the interview… and claimed the Facebook CEO wants to throw down at UFC 300. “Zuckerberg has told me that he has agreed to fight Elon Musk at UFC 300,” he stated. “It was a very big deal. He kept bringing up the dates, because, ‘Elon could never say he has something to do. He could never say that he was busy.’” This means that, if what Sonnen says is true, we could be seeing one of the biggest celebrity showdowns in combat sports history taking place within the next year. When is UFC 300 taking place? Musk vs Zuckerberg possibly penned for combat sports event Although dates for UFC 300 have yet to be revealed, reports claim that the event could take place in April or May of 2024. This means that Musk and Zuckerberg will have a little under a year to train in preparation for their big match. For now, it’s uncertain if anything has been set in stone between these two — but we’ll make sure to keep you updated on this ongoing story right here at Dexerto.

Mark Zuckerberg responds after Elon Musk revives fight challenge – Dexerto
Mark Zuckerberg responds after Elon Musk revives fight challenge MetaMark Zuckerberg has responded to Elon Musk’s fight challenge as the Tesla CEO reignites the beef with another provocation. In mid-2023, an internet beef unlike any other kicked off. Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg feuded publicly and for a while, it was looking like their grudge would be settled in a genuine, televised, MMA match. The match between the tech giants never did happen, however. As both parties constantly prodded each other to step in the octagon and venues volunteered to host the event, things went silent. Until now that is, a year after their beef started, Elon challenged Zuckerberg once again, and Meta’s CEO has responded. On July 24, during a visit to Capitol Hill, Elon Musk was asked about a fight with Zuckerberg, saying he’d fight him at “any place, any time, any rules”. In response to this comment, Zuckerberg fired back in a Threads comment to The Verge’s Deputy Editor with a simple question, “Are we really doing this again?” Even at the height of the beef between the tech moguls, Zuckerberg said in a Threads post that he wasn’t “holding his breath” for Elon to actually fight him but promised he was ready to fight whenever he was ready. The last we heard about the fight was in October 2023 when said on an episode of the Joe Rogan podcast that he would challenge him to a duel “under any circumstances”, claiming that it was Zuckerberg who “pulled out of the fight”. Zuckerberg is 13 years younger than Elon and is quite athletic, with a background in Brazilian jiu-jitsu, winning a tournament in 2023 and training with UFC champions Alexander Volkanovski and Israel Adesanya. Despite another back and forth, it’s quite clear Elon still has a bone to pick with Zuckerberg, but the cage fight between the two is still in doubt.

Mark Zuckerberg responds as internet thirsts over viral altered photo – Dexerto
Mark Zuckerberg responds as internet thirsts over viral altered photo Instagram: zuckAfter the internet released an altered photo of Mark Zuckerberg, viewers began thirsting over his photoshopped look. Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg released a statement via social media on April 18 explaining “Meta AI.” As Zuckerberg detailed the new “Llama 3 AI model,” which he claimed to be the “most intelligent AI assistant that you can freely use,” he sported a leisurely look with a dark blue shirt and a loose silver chain around his neck. Though he was barefaced with no facial hair, an altered screenshot of Zuckerberg from the video has gone viral. In the photo, Zuckerberg has both a mustache and a chinstrap. Zuckerberg even responded to the altered photo of him. “Okay who did this?” he asked Instagram account ‘theshaderoom.’ After the altered photo made its rounds on the internet, viewers began thirsting over Zuckerberg by saying he looks “good af” with a beard. Many viewers also renamed him “Marquis,” as his photoshopped look bestowed more steeze than usual. Meanwhile, others commented, continuing to fall into the thirst trap. “Man y’all playing too much, that man had me considering,” wrote one viewer. “Men don’t realize how much a beard does for them lol,” agreed another. As for the new Meta AI model, Zuckerberg said it will consist of an assistant that you can “ask any questions across our apps and glasses.” He continued to explain how apps like Instagram, WhatsApp, Facebook, and Messenger now have the new system built into their search boxes and will provide answers from sources like Google and Bing. Despite Zuckerberg being a tech genius, perhaps it may be time for him to grow out his facial hair, as what he has to say just might capture more viewers who wouldn’t normally seek out his concepts.

Mark Zuckerberg “not holding his breath” as Elon Musk mentions Italy fight – Dexerto
Mark Zuckerberg “not holding his breath” as Elon Musk mentions Italy fight YouTube: Bleacher Report, Smart SenseMark Zuckerberg has told fans he’s not “holding his breath” after Elon Musk made some seemingly official claims about their proposed UFC fight on X. The potential MMA fight between Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg and Twitter owner Elon Musk has become quite the topic of conversation on social media. Fans are hyped to see two of tech’s biggest moguls potentially duke it out in the octagon; but so far, no details concerning the bout have been confirmed. In the past, Musk claimed that their fight would take place in Italy — an assertion that he made once again in a tweet on August 11. “The fight will be managed by my and Zuck’s foundations (not UFC),” he wrote. “Livestream will be on this platform and Meta. Everything in camera frame will be ancient Rome, so nothing modern at all.” “I spoke to the PM of Italy and Minister of Culture. They have agreed on an epic location.” Mark Zuckerberg responds to Elon Musk’s claims about potential MMA match However, Mark Zuckerberg is urging fans to take Musk’s claims with a heavy grain of salt, saying in a Threads post that none of the aforementioned details have been confirmed. “I love this sport and I’ve been ready to fight since the day Elon challenged me,” Zuckerberg wrote. “If he ever agrees on an actual date, you’ll hear it from me. Until then, please assume anything he says has not been agreed on.” This isn’t the first time Zuckerberg has cast doubt on their highly-anticipated match. He made similar comments in another post about a week prior, claiming he was ready to fight immediately but wasn’t “holding his breath” that a bout between them would actually happen. Until then, it looks like we’re simply waiting on Musk to agree to a fight date. While nothing has yet been confirmed, it appears as though the possibility of this insane match is becoming more and more real with every passing day.

Mark Zuckerberg goes viral after revealing his colossal McDonald’s order – Dexerto
Mark Zuckerberg goes viral after revealing his colossal McDonald’s order YouTube: Lex Fridman / McDonald’sFacebook founder Mark Zuckerberg is going viral after revealing his colossal McDonald’s order, which is just a part of his 4,000 calorie a day diet. Mark Zuckerberg might be known as the face of the Metaverse, but he’s also garnering buzz for his potential cage match with rival tech mogul Elon Musk. It’s no secret that Zuckerberg is in good shape. Recently, he was spotted training with UFC champs Alexander Volkanovski and Israel Adesanya, where the three guys showed off their impressive physiques in a viral Instagram post. Zuckerberg has also just earned his blue belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu — but all that training has to make a man hungry. Zuckerberg shocks the internet with colossal McDonald’s order Zuck recently revealed his go-to fast food order in response to a post from McDonald’s on Threads asking fans, “Y’all want anything from McDonald’s?” “20 nuggets, a quarter pounder, large fries, Oreo McFlurry, apple pie, and maybe some side cheeseburgers for later?” he replied. Fans were left gobsmacked by his colossal order — but that wasn’t even the half of what he eats in a day. According to Zuckerberg, he isn’t cutting weight and needs to bulk, so he’s currently ingesting around 4,000 calories a day. UFC fighter Mike Davis was quick to admonish the Meta owner over his McDonald’s order, writing, “You’re in camp! No McDonald’s!” “Not cutting weight so I need ~4000 calories a day to offset all the activity,” Zuck replied. “And it’s so delicious…” It’s clear that Zuckerberg is taking both his diet and his training quite seriously — but the sheer amount of calories he’s intaking is leaving netizens shocked and, quite frankly, doubtful that he’s actually eating that much. Some have even compared Zuckerberg’s diet to that of Elon Musk, who claimed that he eats a donut every morning, saying, “I’d rather eat tasty food and live a shorter life,” in a 2020 episode of the Joe Rogan podcast. For now, it’s unclear if his fight with Musk will actually go forward — but fans are definitely invested, with YouTube-boxer Jake Paul even offering the pair a $100 million offer to donate their purses to charity.

Mark Zuckerberg casts doubts on Elon Musk fight: “Not holding my breath” – Dexerto
Mark Zuckerberg casts doubts on Elon Musk fight: “Not holding my breath” IG: zuck / X: elonmuskThe proposed cage fight between Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg may be more of a publicity stunt than a reality, as Zuckerberg has expressed his skepticism, stating he’s “not holding his breath.“ The Meta CEO took to his newly launched social media platform, Threads, to address Musk’s claims that their much-anticipated fight would be live-streamed on X, formerly known as Twitter. “I’m ready today. I suggested Aug 26 when he first challenged, but he hasn’t confirmed. Not holding my breath,” Zuckerberg wrote on Threads, casting doubt on Musk’s commitment to the proposed showdown. The Meta CEO also questioned the choice of platform for the live stream, suggesting that a more reliable platform should be used to ensure the proceeds from the fight, which Musk has pledged to veterans’ charities, are successfully raised. “Shouldn’t we use a more reliable platform that can actually raise money for charity?” Zuckerberg wrote, taking a jab at the rival platform. This latest exchange follows Musk’s recent tweets, in which he claimed he was training vigorously for the fight and that it would be streamed on X. The SpaceX and Tesla CEO has been pushing for more video content on X since he rebranded Twitter, even using it to launch a presidential candidate. The idea of a cage fight between the two billionaires first surfaced in June following Zuckerberg’s medal-winning performance at a Brazilian jiu-jitsu tournament. Musk, who posted a tweet about his unique fighting move, ‘The Walrus,’ has been vocal about his interest in the fight, despite no official confirmation from either party. Zuckerberg, a martial arts enthusiast, has been seen training with UFC champions Alexander Volkanovski and Israel Adesanya, sparking speculation that he might be serious about the potential showdown. Meanwhile, Musk has been pictured training with retired UFC legend Georges St-Pierre. Whether the fight will happen or not remains to be seen. And although Zuckerberg remains skeptical, he wrote, “I love this sport and will continue competing with people who train no matter what happens here.”

Mark Zuckerberg accepts Elon Musk’s cage match challenge: “Send me the location” – Dexerto
Mark Zuckerberg accepts Elon Musk’s cage match challenge: “Send me the location” Instagram: Elon Musk/Mark ZuckerbergThe feud between Mark Zuckerberg and Elon Musk has escalated once again, with the Facebook founder answering Musk’s call to a cage match during a recent Instagram post. Recently, Dexerto reported that Facebook creator Mark Zuckerberg is looking at developing his own version of Twitter. The social media outlet, which will reportedly be called Threads, would be a direct rival to Twitter which was recently bought out by Tesla founder Elon Musk. Following the news that Zuckerberg is planning to launch his own version of Twitter, Elon Musk took to Twitter and jokingly challenged Zuckerberg to a cage match. However, it appears that what may have started off as a bit of back-and-forth banter is becoming more and more serious each day. With Zuckerberg now posting a photo of Musk’s comments on Instagram and adding “Send me the location.” Musk has even joked about the kinds of moves he will use during his face-off with Zuckerberg, stating on Twitter “I have this great move that I call “The Walrus”, where I just lie on top of my opponent & do nothing”, he joked after sending through the location of a “Vegas Octagon” for the supposed bout. Mark Zuckerberg and Elon Musk fight gains traction As well as this, the idea appears to have been discussed throughout Zuckerberg’s team, with a spokesperson from Meta telling The Verge “The story speaks for itself,” and that the Zuck is genuinely down for the contest. Time will tell if the two do actually go toe-to-toe in a cage match or a fight of some kind. However, one thing is clear, that being that the two tech leaders are at least feuding heavily online. It isn’t uncommon to see celebrities battle it out in the ring. Nowadays, many content creators also box, with the likes of KSI, Logan Paul, and others all stepping into the ring multiple times across their careers. However, seeing Musk and Zuckerberg in a similar setting would likely be a massive event and would truly be a sight. Mark Zuckerberg announces major incentive for Facebook Gaming streams – Dexerto
Mark Zuckerberg announces major incentive for Facebook Gaming streams Facebook GamingFacebook co-founder Mark Zuckerberg has announced a major new change that will greatly incentivize streamers to either switch to or continue to grow on Facebook Gaming. While Twitch remains the dominant force in streaming, competitors such as YouTube and Facebook have been steadily growing in the background. Since Mixer’s demise, it’s been quite quiet on the streaming wars front, with no Ninja- or shroud- caliber moves shaking up the ecosystem. Now, Mark Zuckerberg has announced a huge change that should pique a lot of streamers’ interests. In a June 7 Facebook post, Zuckerberg revealed that Facebook will be keeping fan subscriptions, badges, and their upcoming independent news products free for creators for another two years. Facebook had first introduced subscriptions at $4.99 back in 2018, the exact same price as a standard Twitch sub. However, Twitch takes 50% of the subscription fee, meaning that Facebook streamers are earning twice as much per sub. “And when we do introduce a revenue share, it will be less than the 30% that Apple and others take,” Zuckerberg further noted, referring to the entire Facebook creator sphere. Seeing as streamers will be keeping all they earn until 2023, it will be interesting to see how many entertainers decide to make the swap or put more time and effort into streaming on Facebook. The news also comes just over a month after Twitch announced some radical new sub options for users from countries with less valuable currency. With Twitch’s “local sub pricing” aimed at helping viewers afford subscriptions and Facebook assisting streamers, there are two different philosophies at work. Whether or not this tactic ends up resulting in some significant growth for Facebook Gaming remains to be seen, but it’s certainly something new to factor in when evaluating the ongoing streaming wars.

Mark Wahlberg claims retirement could be imminent – Dexerto
Mark Wahlberg claims retirement could be imminent Paramount PicturesAcademy Award-nominated actor Mark Wahlberg has revealed that he may retire from the movie industry soon. Wahlberg first gained popularity as a member of the hip-hop group Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch in the 1990s. He later debuted in 1994’s Renaissance Man before starring in various big-budget movies. As the protagonist of two live-action Transformers films, Wahlberg became the highest-paid actor in 2017. The 52-year-old actor’s other movie credits include Ted, Planet of the Apes, and The Departed. Now, Wahlberg has discussed retiring from acting in the near future based on the “pace” he is at now. Mark Wahlberg may retire and sit on the director’s chair In an interview with Cigar Aficionado, Wahlberg answered how much longer he would continue working in the industry. “Well, I’m certainly working harder now than ever. Certain businesses, you kind of build them, pass them on or you exit,” he said. “Hopefully my kids, we’ll see what their interests are, but I don’t think that I’ll be acting that much longer at the pace I am now. That’s for sure. Because that’s the most difficult thing.” Wahlberg has four children with model Rhea Durham, in addition to being the co-owner of the Wahlburgers restaurant chain. Despite debating on leaving acting behind, he talked about taking up directing. Wahlberg previously served as the executive producer of HBO’s’ Entourage and Boardwalk Empire. “I started becoming a producer out of necessity,” he remarked. He continued by saying he wanted to produce before Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise decided to do it. “I was always proactive in trying to find material and things that I could produce, that I knew was right for me, create my own destiny,” Wahlberg added. At the Gervonta Davis vs. Ryan Garcia fight, Wahlberg admitted to Kick streamer Adin Ross of being a fan of his work.

Mark Wahlberg gives Adin Ross unexpected compliment – Dexerto
Mark Wahlberg gives Adin Ross unexpected compliment YouTube: Adin LiveKick streamer Adin Ross met Hollywood star Mark Wahlberg during the Gervonta Davis vs. Ryan Garcia fight, where he gave the influencer an unexpected compliment. Adin Ross is a prominent figure in the online streaming community who notably moved to Kick after being handed a permanent ban from Twitch earlier this year. Since then, Ross has become a divisive online personality as he continues to vie for other top talent from Twitch to join him on Kick, where he currently boasts over 268,119 followers. During his time as a top-tier streamer, Ross has managed to rub elbows with quite a few A-List celebrities — not the least of which was rapper Kanye West, who intended to join him on a joint stream until an explosive phone call put those plans on hold. Adin Ross meets up with Mark Wahlberg The Kick star managed to meet up with a major Hollywood actor while attending the Gervonta Davis vs. Ryan Garcia fight over the weekend… and he even received a compliment from the famous thespian. At some point during the evening, Ross managed to meet up with none other than Mark Wahlberg, known for such movies as Ted, Planet of the Apes, and even the video game adaptation Uncharted. The two shook hands, and Adin introduced himself. “What’s up, Mark?” Adin could be heard saying in a short video clip taken from the encounter. “How you doing? [I’m] Adin. Nice to meet you, bro.” “Nice to meet you, man,” Mark replied before giving him a pat on the arm. “I’m a fan of your work.” This is just the latest major celebrity encounter that Ross has had lately; in fact, the streamer met up with former United States President Donald Trump at UFC 287 earlier this month and even teased a possible stream with him. Adin’s meeting with Wahlberg comes on the heels of other big celebrity encounters for other streamers, such as Kai Cenat, who actually got to say hi to singer/songwriter Adele after inviting her fiance on a live stream.

Mark Rober shuts down phone scam center in India with glitter bombs and cockroaches – Dexerto
Mark Rober shuts down phone scam center in India with glitter bombs and cockroaches YouTube: Mark RoberEngineer Mark Rober is back with a new video explaining how he shut down a phone scam center on the other side of the globe using a bundle of cockroaches and his signature “glitter bomb” package. Phone scams have been a problem for much of the modern age of communication, and by all signs, it only seems to be getting worse. A study from Truecaller, a scam protection and caller identification system, revealed that nearly 30 billion dollars were stolen from American citizens alone in 2021. That’s where Mark Rober enters the picture. For more than a year he has been attempting to track down the headquarters of one such scam business, and at long last his search is complete. Mark Rober gets revenge on phone scam center Rober and his team were able to locate and identify four total call centers across their search. This squad consisted of two other major YouTube channels in Jim Browning of Tech Support Scams and the two-man scam fighting team of Trilogy Media. With their own version of The Avengers assembled the team set to work devising a plan. Instead of sticking with Rober’s traditional fare of glitter-bombs filled with “fart spray”, this one was a bit more in-depth. The Trilogy Media team flew to Kolkata, India, and worked with a team of citizens to infiltrate one of these call center offices. Once these covert agents were in place, the team equipped them with hand-staining soap for the bathrooms, a fake box of Viagra with the boss’s name on it, and also plenty of the aforementioned spray. Despite having some security issues, like text messages that allegedly advised employees to shoot at Art and Ashton of Trilogy, a couple of lucky strokes meant the plan was in place. Thanks to Browning’s expert manipulation of CCTV systems, the entire event was captured on camera and can be watched on Rober’s channel. In the end, this process caused every scam office in Kolkata to close for a few days, and even helped Indian law enforcement enact a plan to raid and shut down an entire building. We can’t recommend taking this kind of revenge something for yourself, but it does seem to have worked out well for this adventurous squad.

Mark Rober stuns package thieves with “glitter bomb 3.0” fart spray prank – Dexerto
Mark Rober stuns package thieves with “glitter bomb 3.0” fart spray prank YouTube: Mark RoberEngineer, inventor, and tech YouTuber Mark Rober is back at it again with his classic Christmas pranks on package thieves — this time, with an amped-up version of his iconic “glitter bomb.” With the holiday season swiftly approaching, package thieves are coming out in full-force. In fact, over 11 million homeowners reported having packages stolen in just the past year, according to a study from Edelman Intelligence. Bearing this in mind, YouTuber Mark Rober has concocted his very own invention to dissuade any package thief unlucky enough to fall for his trap; and this year, it’s got a few new bells and whistles. The “glitter bomb 3.0” boasts — you guessed it — some of the world’s finest biodegradable glitter, which spins out of the package as soon as it’s opened by a so-called “porch pirate.” Then, motors on the box (which looks a bit like a stereo) pump out potent “fart spray” and skunk musk, while audio plays from the Christmas classic, “Home Alone.” That’s not all; the box also plays a countdown and flashes red and blue sirens, prompting the thieves to dispose of the box as soon as possible. All their attempts are simultaneously recorded by four camera phones within the device, which send footage directly to the “Cloud” for Rober to conveniently dissect. He shared his results in a YouTube video on December 16, showing the humorous — and sometimes soul-baring — reactions of the package thieves. Some destroyed the box and threw it outside, while others shoved it away in a closet or attempted to dismantle it inside a sink. While it’s always nice to see justice getting served, Rober made sure to shout out the vast majority of people who simply walked by the packages and let them be, or even called him to make sure he had received any packages that he’d purposefully left out near a P.O. Box. All in all, it seems like Rober’s social experiment uncovered a wealth of different reactions from bystanders and thieves alike, and the entire video is certainly worth a watch. Keep an eye on your porches this season — or, if you’re really paranoid, set out a glitter-trapped decoy box, just in case.

Mark Hamill is protesting Twitter/X’s like removal in a bizarre way – Dexerto
Mark Hamill is protesting Twitter/X’s like removal in a bizarre way Instagram: Mark HamillElon Musk’s Twitter/X has removed the ability to see posts liked by users, and Mark Hamill began protesting the change by commenting “like” under hundreds of posts. On June 12, 2024, Twitter removed the ability for people to see who liked posts on the platform. The company explained that users can still see who liked their own posts, but viewing the likes of random users is no longer possible. Mark Hamill — famously known for playing Luke Skywalker in Star Wars — quickly took to his account to share his distaste for the change and even started a hashtag “#BringBackLIKES” that quickly went viral on the app. “I WANT people to know it was me that liked their tweets. Now my only option is to reply & write the word ‘like’,” he said. “How can we get the powers-that-be to STOP ‘improving’ this site?” Fans rallied alongside Hamill in support, using the hashtag to share their thoughts about the change. Some thought Mark was joking about replying “like” to every post he sees, but were quickly proven wrong as the day went on. He has since commented the word “like” under hundreds of posts, and it’s getting noticed by many of his 5.1M followers. “Mark Hamill definitely has better things to do with his time than this, Elon Musk,” said one user alongside a screenshot of Hamill’s many posts. He responded, stating that he was “already exhausted” after spending just one day protesting the change. “Agreed. It’s only been one day & I’m already exhausted,” he said. Hamill also reacted to Twitter’s GrokAI summarization of his trending posts, which read: “Mark Hamill has been responding to posts on X by writing ‘like’ in the comments, a playful gesture that has garnered attention and appreciation from users who view it as a positive and humorous reaction to the platforms modifications.” Users shared their appreciation for Mark’s “trend” in the replies to this tweet. “Finally, a trend that I like,” one user commented. Another asked: “Anyone else hear the Joker’s giggle laugh after each ‘like’?”

Mario attacks Spider-Man for punching Black Panther in cosplay street fight – Dexerto
Mario attacks Spider-Man for punching Black Panther in cosplay street fight YouTube/G1A street fight between Mario, Spider-Man, Black Panther and others is going viral on social media after a dispute between costumed employees at a tourist attraction in Brazil. Is this what Spider-Man in Smash Bros would look like? A wild brawl erupted between two employees of Two Little Trains earlier in June leaving tourists and spectators confused. From an entire airport baggage area becoming a WWE Royal Rumble to fisticuffs aboard an airplane, there have been plenty of wild street fights but never anything quite like this. In a video making rounds on social media, a man dressed as Spider-Man approached another guy cosplaying as Black Panter and unloaded a series of punches, resulting in Mario tangling with the web-slinger. Mario breaks Spider-Man’s nose in outrageous costume brawl According to G1, after Spider-Man fired a punch at the hero of Wakanda, Super Mario joined the fray and he too exchanged punches with the Marvel icon. Eventually, Mario removed his head, revealing he was just a normal man underneath and continued to wage war against the not-so-friendly neighborhood Spider-Man. Other employees dressed as Captain America and Wednesday Addams tried to separate the two, but Mario was able to gain the advantage and do some damage to his opponent. The man dressed as Spider-Man reportedly had his nose broken and will require surgery. Additionally, at least two men involved in the smackdown will be dismissed from The Two Little Trains. It’s not clear what got into Spider-Man or if he was experiencing a symbiote moment, but at least Mario was there to save the day.

Mark replied that he would be interested in having him on the show, but it’s not his call. Cuban said: “I’m good with it, but not my call. You have to reach out to the producers. Good Luck!” Fans were quick to flood the comments on the post, sharing how much they’d like to see the infamous YouTuber appear on the show. “Now that’s an episode I would watch,” one user replied. It’s clear that fans would be excited to see Marques appear on the iconic show, but it’s unknown when or if it will ever happen. MKBHD isn’t the first YouTuber to show interest in appearing on Shark Tank, either. Back in 2022, Logan Paul asked Kevin O’Leary about becoming a guest shark as well.

Marc D’Amelio hits back at accusations that family is “abusing” Charli – Dexerto
Marc D’Amelio hits back at accusations that family is “abusing” Charli Instagram: marcdamelio / Instagram: charlidamelioIn yet another series of allegations against the D’Amelio family, various TikTok users accused Charli’s parents of physical abuse, yet Marc quickly responded to shut down these claims. [jwplayer ZXB9LNVP] As one of the most popular families on the internet, the D’Amelio household is always under the spotlight. Everything the social media stars post online is scrutinized by tens of millions of fans from around the globe. Naturally, controversy is bound to boil over from time to time. Following allegations from November, TikTok users have once again called out the D’Amelio family for abuse. While these original claims were shut down by Dixie, the latest accusations fixate on Charli. “Look that’s Heidi’s hand,” a user shared while inspecting a February 2 upload on Marc’s account. In the background of his video, a feint movement can be seen in the background. This could essentially be anything, though fans quickly latched onto a theory that it was Heidi abusing her daughter. “She is hitting Charli,” the TikTok user said. “Guys we need to save her, this is not a joke,” they added along with the hashtag ‘#SaveCharli.’ This allegation could have been easily ignored by the family, though Marc decided to shut it down once and for all. “Wrongfully accusing parents of abuse is serious,” he replied shortly after. “You’re wasting time and resources that could be spent helping true victims of abuse.” Despite this clear-cut denial, hundreds of replies still swing in all directions as to what the truth actually is. Without any additional evidence, there’s nothing to support these latest claims beyond a single video that zooms into the background of Marc’s TikTok. From a dog’s tail to a random shadow, it genuinely could be anything. Though Marc assured it had absolutely nothing to do with any form of abuse. https://twitter.com/defnoodles/status/1362138901398253569 Both parents cop plenty of flak online from time to time with their daughters often having to step in. Dixie made it clear in November that her parents “do not” treat her poorly, despite community speculation. For fans to be concerned is one thing, but it’s clear Marc wishes for baseless accusations to stop flooding their social media accounts.

Marc D’Amelio roasts Charli superfan who asked to date her on Twitter – Dexerto
Marc D’Amelio roasts Charli superfan who asked to date her on Twitter Instagram: charlidamelio / marcdamelioA Charli D’Amelio superfan has been left red-faced on Twitter after he tried to ask the TikTok superstar out on a date, only to be brutally shut down at every turn by the internet celebrity’s hilarious dad, Marc. The D’Amelio sisters — Dixie and Charli — have become two of TikTok’s biggest superstars, and have amassed over 150 million followers (combined) since they started creating short-form content on the platform. They’ve also accumulated a dedicated fan-base, although some fans don’t always agree with how the two live their lives. Despite some bumps in the road, the sisters generally enjoy interacting with their passionate supporters. One extremely hopeful fan — looking to score a date with Charli by asking her father for permission — ended up getting shut down by Marc D’Amelio and roasted by the internet in the process. On February 20, a Twitter user by the name of ‘Rogan Bode’ tweeted at Charli’s father, Marc. Getting straight to the point, he asked superstar’s dad “Can I date your daughter?” Despite being straightforward, Marc did not appear entertained by the fan’s blunt request. “You mean may I date your daughter?” he responded, pointing out the grammatical error in Bode’s tweet, and then told the fan to “Try again.” Even after that response, the fan seemed unbothered and tried again (using proper grammar this time): “May I date your daughter?” Despite the wording, the fan was still rejected, and Charli’s father responded with a simple “No.” Another rejection didn’t stop Bode from trying again. He tweeted back at Marc and said “Please. If you look at my TikTok you can see how nice of a guy I am Marc.” Charli’s father did not appreciate that response either, and blasted him again: “Marc? We are on a first-name basis? Try again.” Even after facing rejection a third time, the fan was not ready to give up. “Mr. D’Amelio. I would be honored to drive down to LA. Meet the D’Amelio family. And take Charli on a romantic first date. Is that alright with you?” https://twitter.com/roganbode/status/1363031054647394310 Unfortunately, Charli’s father didn’t think his final effort was worth a response, and simply chose not to reply. In Marc’s absence, other Twitter users took to flaming the fan over his rejections. “[He’s] down real bad,” one user joked. Another replied “Man you messed up big time,” and a third user speculated the whole exchange was an attempt to gain a bit of internet clout: “Man is desperate for some TikTok fame.” Another user pointed out that Bode’s profile included photoshopped images of himself with Charli, which probably didn’t help his case. Unfortunately for the eager fan, he not only missed out on a date with Charli, but will have to deal with the internet roasting him over the hilarious attempts to convince Marc to give him a chance with his daughter.

Man’s side hustle goes viral betting strangers he can chug beer faster than them – Dexerto
Man’s side hustle goes viral betting strangers he can chug beer faster than them TikTok/ronnydoitcheThe best beer chugger in New England is being dubbed a “genius” for a side hustle where he bets people he can finish his beer faster than they can. With great power comes great responsibility and one man is using his unique talent to make money by challenging strangers to a beer-chugging competition at a tailgate. Ronny Doitche is considered New England’s top beer chugger and found no better place to capitalize on this than right before an NFL game between the Patriots and the Los Angeles Chargers. In a viral TikTok, Doitche set up a booth with a sign that read, “$100 to your $20, I can chug a Friday beer faster than you. Change my mind.” Some people were bold enough to take him up on the challenge only to be utterly destroyed. Man downs 22 beers in must-see tailgate side hustle Throughout the video, competitors showed up to the booth with $20 to partake in the challenge only to be completely outmatched by Doitche’s skills. Not only would he finish his Miller Lite in a split second, he would down it a lot cleaner than the others, who had beer dripping down their faces. In total, Doitche earned $440, meaning he slammed back a whopping 22 beers during the pregame and remained standing. The viral clip has since been viewed a whopping 20 million times and viewers are losing their minds at the stunt, calling it “genius.” “That’s a pretty wicked side hustle,” one user praised. “$20 beer still cheaper than in the stadium,” another joked. One user even asked if it was “possible to learn this power” to which Doitche recommended practicing over the sink. Getting paid to drink beer is one of the top dream jobs a guy can have, so we have to give it up to Ronny for making the most out of his beer-chugging prowess. Man’s surprise Christmas gift from grandma gets him in trouble at airport TikTok: brett.gaffneyA man was flagged by airport security after his surprise Christmas gift from his grandma was scanned. When a loved one gives you something as a surprise, especially a Christmas gift, well, then, you best keep it a surprise until the holiday comes. That’s exactly what one man tried to do when his grandma gave him a briefcase full of something unknown. However, when he went through airport security, he was flagged and forced to open his suspenseful gift — but what was in the briefcase? Man forced to open his surprise Christmas gift in front of airport security TikToker Brett Gaffney has gone viral for explaining the story about how his grandma gifted him a surprise Christmas present as he headed out the door to travel back home. Since he was instructed to not open the “heavy” gift until he reached California, Gaffney made sure to follow his grandma’s orders. However, he realized that he’d be going through airport security and soon awaited his fate as he approached the TSA. Of course, the briefcase that the present was locked inside of, went off when it was scanned on the conveyor belt. That’s when Gaffney was forced to open his Christmas gift earlier than expected. To his surprise, a typewriter was the highly anticipated present that his grandma had given him. Viewers of Gaffney’s TikTok commended him for listening to his grandma’s wishes until he was legally unable to, saying, “The fact you listened and didn’t open it is so innocent, lmao.” Gaffney responded by saying he was “A man of pure trust.” Others found it hilarious that he was given an old typewriter and suggested what he could begin writing on it. Another viewer joked about the situation, saying, “Oh Nah, I’m checking for sure. Grandma Escobar ain’t getting me in trouble.” Gaffney didn’t reveal what his grandma’s reaction was to him having to open his Christmas gift early. However, he made sure to let viewers know that he’ll be using the typewriter to write his memoir — jokingly, of course.

Man’s plan for wife to ‘buy her own drinks’ backfires spectacularly – Dexerto
Man’s plan for wife to ‘buy her own drinks’ backfires spectacularly TikTok: basht0pA man hoping to save some money by telling his wife to “buy her own drinks” has gone viral after his plan backfired spectacularly. Going out for a couple of drinks can quickly see costs add up and your wallet emptied, especially when you’re paying for a partner’s drinks as well. In hopes of saving a couple extra bucks, one man decided to tell his wife that she would be paying her own way when the pair visited a pub. However, his plan ultimately backfired after she embraced the challenge and used her social skills to convince some unsuspecting patrons to buy her a drink. Carl Sagan, who goes by ‘basht0p‘ on TikTok, took to the social media platform to film his wife’s “hustle” in a video that quickly went viral, garnering over 3.2 million views. The video shows Sagan sitting alone at a bar, with text overlay revealing he had told his wife to “pay for her own drinks.” The camera then switches as Sagan records his wife chatting up another man across the bar. Laughing and affectionately touching the man’s back, Sagan’s wife cozied up to the unsuspecting stranger to finesse a free drink through flirtation. Luckily for the pair’s marriage, Sagan didn’t appear upset over the ordeal, writing, “The unbridled professionalism… I don’t stand a chance without her.” Similarly, viewers were both impressed and amused by his wife’s hustle for a freebie, one person commenting, “She even looked at him like ‘[Yeah] take notes.’ I [love] this for y’all. Foundation strong.” “I absolutely LOVE how confident this man is in his marriage. No jealousy or butthurt, just straight admiration for his wife’s skills,” another said, praising Sagan’s security in his relationship.

Man’s rude interaction with Chipotle workers sparks viral outrage – Dexerto
Man’s rude interaction with Chipotle workers sparks viral outrage WIKIMEDIA: MIKE MOZARTA viral video circulating TikTok about an incident at a Chipotle restaurant has sparked outrage in the comments section, with users reporting their own experiences at Chipotle. TikTok user, Ryan Lynch, who’s renowned on the platform for his ‘story-time’ style videos, shared a recent experience he had at the popular chain, Chipotle. In this one, he titled the video, ‘Another Chipotle Rant.’ He starts off the video by stating, “I’ve given up on being polite to Chipotle, because it seems to get you nowhere these days.” He lays down some rules regarding politeness, saying “Back in the day, asked how the person was doing before you ordered, and you waited for them to respond.” He also claims that in previous years, “You were actually able to get a proper portion.” Ryan claims that he entered the establishment, and politely asked the worker if he could order a burrito bowl, with a tortilla on the side. However, things got misconstrued, and the worker began making him a burrito, rather than his actual request. He says that he politely corrected the worker, noting that it was “Nothing more than a mistake,” however the worker allegedly became aggravated, saying, “you asked for a burrito.” Ryan apologized again, and said that he did, in fact, order a burrito bowl with a tortilla on the side. This is when he said “things got tense.” The worker allegedly gave him “A sloppy bowl,” and the portion of chicken “Was half, and if you ask for a little bit more, they charge you double.” Ryan also alleges that he heard someone say “Sir, shut the f**k up – it was to a DoorDash person, I guess he was just asking for his order.” The video ends with Ryan stating boldly, “I hope Chipotle is the first fast-casual restaurant to be replaced by robots.” Some claim they get anxiety at Chipotle Some fans on TikTok were quick to jump to Ryan’s defense, arguing that Chipotle staff have a reputation, and reporting a poor dining experience. One commented, “Chipotle has the meanest employees, I get anxiety just walking in.” Another concurred, “Chipotle workers are so mad when you simply decide to eat at Chipotle.” Many also agreed with Ryan regarding his comments about the portion sizes, saying, “The amount of chicken you get 100% depends on the employee’s mood. It’s wild.” Another said, “So true, they slap the portions on the bowl with no regard to the portion or the person.” One suggested jokingly, “Undercover Boss should do an episode with Chipotle.” A manager at the chain responded to Ryan, saying “I always try to portion well but you can never win. It’s either management telling you to go light or customers getting mad at you.” It’s not always the customers who have a tough time with servers, proven recently when a waitress gave the confusing reason why a couple refused to tip her.

Man’s “life hack” for getting rid of wasps goes viral after it ends in disaster TIKTOK: lakenseegersA man went viral on TikTok with a ‘life hack’ for getting rid of wasps using gasoline in a cup – but it ended in a complete disaster. The gasoline-in-a-cup wasp nest hack has been sweeping the video app, as the trick claims to help you kill throngs of the stabby critters using nothing but a container and some gasoline. In a viral clip with 1.4 million views, lakenseegers recorded her partner, Casey, trying out the hack by placing a cup of gasoline over a wasp nest in the hopes of capturing the insects. His first attempt was successful. Casey placed a plastic McDonald’s cup filled with gasoline over the nest, and the wasps quickly started falling inside the container. However, the trick went sideways when he made another attempt at killing the critters. Wasp net hack goes wrong Casey placed a cup over a second nest in a different part of the house. After setting it, he immediately started shifting around to properly secure the cup, but some wasps snuck out the top. “Oh f**k!” he yelled, as the cup tumbled to the ground, releasing a handful of wasps, now flying around their yard. According to the caption of the video, Casey’s finger got stung by one of them. In the comments, TikTok users were absolutely horrified over the epic fail. “The beginning had me thinking I could do this too. The ending made me realize I don’t want to,” one viewer wrote. “The second one is exactly why I’ll never do this that or I’d end up missing it entirely,” another added. “That wasp knew exactly what to do with that second hive,” a third said. “I love watching these! But the way I yelled OMG at the end,” another commented, to which the content creator replied, “Same!! The way I ran so fast inside.” For more entertainment news and other viral stories, check out our coverage.

Man’s parachute rips as he falls towards cliff in near-death experience – Dexerto
Man’s parachute rips as he falls towards cliff in near-death experience Twitter: shannonsharpeeeExperienced cliff jumper, Johnni DiJulius, nearly fell to his death after his parachute ripped in mid-air. It was like any Arizona day, as the sunshine was hitting every angle of the earth’s magnificent cliffs and beautiful terrain. And what better way to experience that beautiful geography than to see it while soaring from miles above the ground? When Johnni DiJulius, an experienced cliff jumper, nearly fell to his death after his parachute ripped in mid-air, these cliffs soon turned into more than just a beautiful abstraction as he was forced to grip onto one of these precipices with his bare hands. His incredible story first went viral in 2022 right after it occurred, but has since picked up momentum on the internet thanks to his shocking survival. While hanging from the cliff’s side, DiJulius was able to make a call, letting one of his friends know what had happened and what could potentially occur as he leaned in to free himself from his equipment. DiJulius hung 50 feet above the ground after crashing at 50 MPH DiJulius, who is a stunt man and wrestling coach, was able to use his upper body strength to lift himself up on the cliff that he initially was hanging from. He then was able to call a friend and let him know that he was, as cliff jumpers call it, ”Hung up.” In an interview with ABC News, DiJulius explained his experience falling 50 MPH above 50 feet of ground, saying, “I ungeared. I was kind of just Spider-Man’d to this wall, right? For like an hour.” Thinking he could climb down, DiJulius said to the friend he phoned, “I can climb down, but I need to ungear. It’s gonna be sketchy.” However, meticulously climbing down was not an option, as he instead fell backward right on his backside. He explained his fall to ABC News as an “oh crap” jump, saying, “I just freaking huck it, land on my back on this bush. I couldn’t really turn around.” Those who have seen DiJulius’s survival story have taken to Twitter to comment on his “NO TMRW” helmet, saying, “Dude is manifesting this “no tmrw” mantra. Even his damn screensaver is it.” And, “He deada*s almost didn’t see a tomorrow.” Though it was a significantly close call, DiJulius miraculously did not sustain any injuries. He’s previously jumped off skyscrapers, wing-walked on planes, and also had experience with cliff jumping before his 2022 accident that has now, once again, gone viral for its alarming content.

Man’s hotel has the shower in a closet and TikTok can’t believe their eyes – Dexerto
Man’s hotel has the shower in a closet and TikTok can’t believe their eyes TikTok: chaseleeeA man and his TikTok following were stunned to find that the shower in his hotel room was located in a small closet. Hospitality experiences can go either way — sometimes, they’re better than expected, and other times, not so much. So when TikToker Chase Lee spent a night in a hotel that had a shower in a closet, he reacted humbly. TikTok viewers, however, couldn’t believe their eyes, saying that their claustrophobia wouldn’t be able to handle such a small space. TikTok viewers question what the rest of the hotel bathroom looks like after seeing shower in closet Chase Lee posted a video to TikTok of his recent night’s stay in a hotel room. Though he didn’t disclose where he was, he included a text overlay explaining his surprising situation, saying, “Please look at the shower in the hotel I’m staying at.” Not only was Lee’s shower located in a small closet, it seemingly had no light switch. The shower was actually so small, that the shower curtain touched the door as it was closed. The door was also wooden, causing viewers to question whether or not it was moldy. Lee was so shocked by the shower in the closet that he held his hand over his mouth during his TikTok video to emphasize how stunned he was. Those who viewed his video were just as surprised, saying, “I can’t breathe! I can only imagine what the rest of the bathroom looks like!” And, “Hell no. The bathroom is the first picture I look at before booking.” One viewer even joked about the door being similar to that of one in the movie Monsters Inc. While another said that it looked like a scene in a scary movie. Though his shower situation was out of the norm, Lee didn’t mention if he asked for a new room or not. However, if he ever had to stay in the same hotel again, perhaps next time he’d shower beforehand.

Man’s large wheelchair cost him a chance to see Beyonce in concert – Dexerto
Man’s large wheelchair cost him a chance to see Beyonce in concert TikTok: liberatedbygaga, Instagram: beyonceA man boarding his flight to see Beyoncé perform in Seattle was told he couldn’t enter the plane due to his wheelchair being too big. As Beyoncé continues her Renaissance World Tour, fans flock to see her perform songs like ‘Energy’ where she gets the entire audience to go silent during the lyrics, “Big wave in the room, the crowd gon’ move. Look around, everybody on mute.” Beyoncé’s tour has seen so much success that she’s become the highest-grossing female artist to ever go on tour, as her sales have already amassed $461.2 million and is expected to make at least $2 billion by October. So when a man by the name of Jon posted on TikTok that he was unable to attend the highly-anticipated Beyoncé concert due to the size of his wheelchair, one can only imagine how heartbreaking that could have been. Man who waited 25 years to see Beyoncé perform says “Ableism strikes again” In a video posted to his TikTok, Jon shared his story about how he wasn’t able to see Beyoncé perform in Seattle due to his wheelchair being too large to fit onto the plane. Jon, having cerebral palsy, isn’t able to walk to the greatest degree without additional help, so leaving his wheelchair behind when he tried to board his plane wasn’t an option. Though he waited “25 years” to see one of his favorite artists perform, Jon was struck with the soul-sinking news that there was no available plane that would fit his wheelchair. Attendants even searched high and low for a plane that could carry his wheelchair that was “four inches too tall to be loaded onto the plane.” Jon ended his explainer video on TikTok saying, “Ableism strikes again,” indicating that his cerebral palsy has affected other opportunities in his life, as well. Those who have seen Jon’s story took to his comments section to express empathy and say that he should be given a private Beyoncé show, saying, “I’m sorry this happened. Hoping Beyoncé’s team sees this and makes arrangements for you to see a show.” Another viewer commented to apologize to Jon for his trouble boarding the plane, to which Jon responded, “I’m conflicted, because they are refunding me and the person did try every airline. I’m sad and pissed — but it’s not their fault.” Jon was also sure to not mention the airline that wouldn’t allow him to board his flight with his large wheelchair, as he posted a follow-up video saying that it is essentially “all airlines” who were and are unable to fulfill his needs as a disabled citizen. However, Jon did thank viewers for sharing their support and tagging Beyoncé in his comments.

Man’s DoorDash order goes viral after 200 nuggets are delivered instead of 20 – Dexerto
Man’s DoorDash order goes viral after 200 nuggets are delivered instead of 20 TikTok: lynn_j_goatA hilarious DoorDash mix-up has gone viral on TikTok after a man accidentally ordered 200 nuggets instead of 20. While ordering through a food delivery service is intended to make life easier, it’s important to carefully check everything has been purchased correctly before the final checkout. One man found this out the hard way after discovering his mistake on DoorDash had resulted in 200 nuggets being delivered to his front door instead of 20. Jessica, who goes by ‘lynn_j_goat‘ on TikTok, took to the popular social media app to share her husband’s hilarious and costly mix-up. In the video, the whole family is present as chicken nuggets are laid out across the table in a seemingly never-ending stream. Shocked and laughing, the family was baffled by how many nuggets had ended up in their hands, the video panning to reveal a whole bag packed with more of the chicken treats. In another video showcasing the entire spread of nuggets, Jessica questioned whether the immense order was a “prank.” However, it turned out to be all because of a simple mix-up — and Jessica’s husband was to blame. “So my husband went on the Doordash app and instead of hitting the [10 nuggets] he accidentally put in the quantity as like, x 20,” Jessica explained. “He doesn’t pay attention to the details. And I think he mentioned, like, ‘Wow, this is expensive.’” While waiting on their order, the DoorDash driver texted the family to let them know the food would take longer than expected as McDonald’s was making it fresh. The group didn’t think much of it until their food arrived… in eight bags. “After we realize that Chris messed up the order, we just lost it… it was just nuggets after nuggets after nuggets,” Jessica said. “And so we did live by the beach and there’s a pier down the street and there’s a lot of homeless people out there… So we went down and we fed a ton of homeless people and they were so happy… It turned out to be really awesome — a really awesome experience.” In the end, none of the nuggets went to waste and something tells us, Jessica’s husband will be a little more careful ordering from DoorDash in the future.

Man’s Halloween decorations slammed for being ‘too realistic’ – Dexerto
Man’s Halloween decorations slammed for being ‘too realistic’ TIKTOK: 34yfhmlA man’s realistic Halloween decorations depicting a raging fire inside his home has sparked backlash on TikTok. In a 12-second clip filmed from the outside, a house appeared to be engulfed with flames, with a bright orange fiery glow visible in every window of the home’s three floors. However, to the surprise of onlookers and viewers, behind-the-scenes footage in the video revealed that it’s just an illusion set up with three items. To create the appearance of fire and smoke inside the rooms, the homeowner used a series of orange lights, a fan, and a sheet to blow around. The video was shared by content creator 34yfhml, who wrote in the text-overlay: “My neighbor’s Halloween decorations. Almost helped him put out the fire.” The post quickly went viral on TikTok, amassing over 40 million views, with many users criticizing the Halloween decorations for being ‘too realistic’ and even suggesting it could be dangerous. “I’m trying to understand what this has to with Halloween,” one unimpressed viewer wrote. “Love halloween decs etc but I don’t like this that’s awful,” another added. “It looks very real, problem is if someone calls 999 and fire brigade turns up, it’s taking the fire brigade away from a real fire somewhere else,” a third commented. “That’s not Halloween décor, that’s tryna get 911 to ur house every 5 minutes,” someone else shared. While most users were less than impressed, some people found the decors creative and praised the homeowner. “Best Halloween decorations I’ve ever seen,” one said. “This is pure genius, another added. Earlier this month, firefighters in New York rushed to a house fire call only to find Halloween decorations instead of flames. The fire department later shared footage of the set-up, calling it “amazing.” For more entertainment news and other viral stories, be sure to check out our coverage.

The man, known only as Zay, popped the question to his girlfriend at Sydney’s Coogee Beach in front of hundreds of people. In a viral TikTok video with 1.5 million views, the aspiring groom’s girlfriend, Sai, was seen arriving on the beach before he got down on one knee to propose. A throng of onlookers gathered next to the shore to witness the moment, as they cheered for the couple. However, disaster ensued just seconds later, as Zay appeared to be unable to find the ring. The clip cut to Zay, Sai, and their friends frantically digging through the sand, trying to find the jewel that had fallen and gotten lost. TikTok users in the comments were mortified by the failed proposal. “Absolute nightmare. I literally would hate a public proposal because it isn’t about the people it’s just a show,” one user declared. “Public proposals are my biggest nightmare,” another said. Man’s viral dating history debunked after claiming he gets one date every 21,748 swipes – Dexerto
Man’s viral dating history debunked after claiming he gets one date every 21,748 swipes AdobeOne Reddit user has taken their online dating to a whole new level by converting four years of data into a disheartening visual showing he has only received 1 date every 21,748 swipes, but it turned out to be nothing but a hoax. In a world where finding love has gone digital, dating has been revolutionized over the years as people spend more time engaging with others via their mobile devices. Various apps have paved the way for various takes on the modern way of dating, with Tinder, Bumble, and Hinge being the front runners. Although online dating has proven successful for countless people, it has also presented endless controversies due to certain dangers — such as getting catfished or the impacts of constant rejections. The latter is the case for this Reddit user who has bravely shared their dating history in a unique way. After compiling data representing four years of dating, he created a visual representation displaying the outcomes across six different apps, which purportedly revealed shocking lows. Redditor claims he got over 40,000 rejections Straight away the largest section on the diagram shows a large pink wave stating that the man has received 43,198 rejections, compared to only 298 matches. It gets worse, only 22 of those 298 matches exchanged over 5 messages with the man, therefore out of a potential 43,496 successful engagements, only 22 led to anything meaningful. Going deeper, of those 22 this only led to 2 actual dates, which ultimately led to him being stood up on both occasions. After four years of dating and over 47,000 potential candidates, he has never had one successful date, which presents a bleak view of the modern dating world. Quickly after the Reddit post was published, the post went viral with thousands of people reacting to the mindblowing results. “I’m genuinely baffled by several stats here”, one user said. With many users suggesting his profile must be the reason, “My guy you should’ve done a profile review about 40,000 swipes earlier”, another user said. Various users engaged in endlessly long threads debating and discussing dating via the use of apps, as many suggested that dating apps are more negative than they are positive. One Redditor said: “Sure, maybe apps make it easier to date, but I think more often they make it easier to feel like a complete, global loser.” This further highlights the troubles of online dating, whereby having a string of constant rejections can cause users to blame themselves and avoid dating altogether. Others have suggested the post is so unbelievable that it must be fake, a suspicion that later proved to be valid. In going through the Redditor’s posting history, he states one month earlier that he doesn’t use these apps. “I don’t use dating apps. I don’t have any pictures of myself since I was 16 and im not very photogenic so I don’t take pictures,” he said in a subreddit about dating one month before making the post. It may be the case that this user was downplaying his dating history in this other thread, but in either case the dishonesty will throw all of this data into question now. Dating definitely isn’t easy out there, but hopefully this Redditor’s luck will change soon.

Manny Pacquiao dismisses Jake Paul fight rumors: “I want to fight the best” – Dexerto
Manny Pacquiao dismisses Jake Paul fight rumors: “I want to fight the best” Instagram: Jake Paul / Manny PacquiaoBoxing legend Manny Pacquiao shut down rumors that he’s open to fighting Jake Paul, claiming he only “wants to fight the best”, which doesn’t include Jake due to his lack of experience. Manny Pacquiao is a name that is synonymous with boxing. With an impressive career spanning 71 fights, 62 of which he’s won, he is considered to be one of the greatest boxers of all-time. After Logan Paul went the distance against Floyd Mayweather, it was only a matter of time before Pacquiao was listed as a potential candidate for one of the Paul brothers to take on. However, he put those rumors to bed. A reporter asked Pacquiao if he would ever consider fighting a YouTuber and specifically mentioned Jake Paul. But he flat out refused. “No, I will not. I will not,” he said. “I want to fight the best to add on to my legacy.” Pacquiao insisted it has nothing to do with Paul’s skill as a boxer. Instead, it’s more about his lack of experience. “I’m not underestimating Paul, but he doesn’t have a lot of experience of boxing, so he’s already [at a] disadvantage.” Interestingly though, he was open to the idea of fighting Floyd Mayweather. He admitted it wasn’t likely because he’s still active in boxing while Mayweather is retired. But when asked if he’d consider it, he said he would. Pacquiao is taking on the current unified world welterweight champion, Errol Spence Jr., in Las Vegas on August 21. He’s currently undefeated with an impressive 27-0 record, so it might be Pacquiao’s biggest challenge yet.

With 72 fights to his name, Pacquiao is gearing up for his first post-career event. Manny MUA responds to rumors of hooking up with James Charles – Dexerto
Manny MUA responds to rumors of hooking up with James Charles Makeup mogul Manny “Manny MUA” Gutierrez has responded to rumors of getting physical with fellow beauty guru James Charles after fan speculation spiraled out of control in late December. Manny cleared the air regarding his relationship with Charles in a video on December 30, titled, “Finally Addressing the Rumors About Me.” Among the many fan queries regarding his sexuality and career, one of the first rumors Manny addressed was his alleged hookup with Charles — a theory that has apparently grown quite popular amongst his fanbase. According to Manny, about “20%” of rumors he’d received for the video were related to Charles, who he firmly denied having ever romanced in spite of widespread conjecture to the contrary. “I’m shocked,” he said of the speculation. “I don’t know what prompted the idea that me and James were anything more than just friends. I can assure you guys that me and James are not f***ing. We are not dating. We are not together. We are not an item.” Instead, Manny clarified that he and Charles are merely friends, despite their rocky beginnings before the two had actually met. “We’ve had such a crazy relationship in our pasts,” he continued. “I can’t remember exactly what it was, but he completely shaded me on Twitter before we really knew each other. And I was like, ‘This little c***sucker.’ And I didn’t like him for a long time because of that.” In spite of the blatant shade, Manny and Charles went on to become “pretty close” friends after Charles apologized for his post, explaining that he was young and “not in a good place.” (Timestamp: 5:29 for mobile readers) “Now, we’re at such a cool spot, and I love hanging out with James,” Manny revealed. “We do see each other pretty often, actually. More often than we used to. …it makes me really happy that we squashed our beef and that we’re friends.” Charles has likewise responded to the rumors, Tweeting his reaction to an article on the subject by E News with, “The fact that this is an actual headline is the funniest thing I’ve ever seen.” the fact that this is an actual headline is the funniest thing i’ve ever seen — James Charles (@jamescharles) December 31, 2019 Despite their initial spat, it doesn’t look like Twitter drama or fan rumors are going to get in the way of these YouTubers’ friendship anytime soon.

Mang0 shows how many Twitch subs he lost by not streaming on Thanksgiving – Dexerto
Mang0 shows how many Twitch subs he lost by not streaming on Thanksgiving Cloud 9’s Joseph ‘Mang0’ Marquez was set for a rude awakening upon returning to Twitch after a relatively brief Thanksgiving break. A veteran of the competitive Super Smash Bros. Melee scene, Mango often dedicates a good chunk of his spare time to engaging with his fans on Twitch. Between championship-caliber performances at various Major events, the pro player managed to accrue over 7,000 subscribers on the streaming platform. Unfortunately however, Mang0 was shocked upon returning to his stream for the first time since Thanksgiving. Opting to take a typical break from his working schedule for five-days over the course of Thanksgiving, Mang0 returned to a jaw-dropping loss of Twitch subscribers. The Smash veteran started his brief period of rest with 7,378 paid subscribers and returned to 6,387. A loss of 991 monthly payments in total, just under 200 subscriptions were lost throughout each consecutive day of his break. “Let’s just take a nice little Thanksgiving vacation…and it’s gone,” he said while refreshing his active subscriber count. Former Rooster Teeth personality turned full-time Twitch streamer, Ray Narvaez, Jr. also chimed in, stating that “I’m laughing on the outside but crying on the inside.” “It sucks when this happens, but it’s part of the job,” he expressed, indicating that while the circumstances might be unfortunate, it’s par for the course with massively popular streamers. Furthermore, the obsession with maintaining a positively trending subscriber count is what drove fellow content creator Jack ‘CouRage’ Dunlop away from Twitch. “Man, if I don’t go live today, then I’m gonna lose this many subs,” he described, underpinning the exact issue that Mang0 faced upon returning to his broadcast after a five-day break. I’m laughing on the outside but crying on the inside. It sucks when this happens, but it’s part of the job. — rayyy lmao (@RayNarvaezJr) December 3, 2019 Similarly, Ninja once revealed the absurd amount of subscribers that he lost following a two-day gap in his streaming schedule. With an abundance of popular content creators jumping ship from Twitch to various other streaming services of late, it’s no surprise that maintaining an optimal subscriber count comes with a great deal of stress.

Manny MUA calls out Makeup Revolution for “allegedly copying” his design – Dexerto
Manny MUA calls out Makeup Revolution for “allegedly copying” his design YouTube: Manny MUABeauty YouTube star Manny ‘Manny MUA’ Gutierrez uploaded a video on March 15 pointing out the “identical” similarities between his own Lunar Beauty product and Makeup Revolution’s new highlighter. Since Makeup Revolution was launched in 2014 by Adam Minto and Tom Allsworth, the brand has been known for its affordable duplications of popular and more expensive products, with the goal to “develop quality makeup which is accessible to everyone.” The company has come out with dupes for many brands, including Anastasia Beverly Hills, Too Faced, Urban Decay, and more – and now, allegedly, Manny MUA’s Lunar Beauty highlighter, too. makeup revolution “”blushing hearts”” ($6) are dupes for too faced “”sweethearts”” ($30) pic.twitter.com/NbrECoTYyr — Makeup (@makeupmanics) June 3, 2016 After seeing the similarities between MR’s Glass Illuminator Face & Body Highlighter and Lunar Beauty’s Moon Prism Powder, Manny took to YouTube to air his concerns. “All I can do is speak my truth, and speak about something that has been bothering me for a little while…” he began, holding up the two products. “… This is my brand, this is my highlighter compact, and this is the Makeup Revolution compact highlighter.” He then revealed how when a fan shared their concerns about the situation on Instagram, a rep for the company replied and said it was because the two brands shared a factory. “Honestly, this was not a dupe [situation]. Our development team had no idea. Any similarity will be due to shared factories, not any intention,” they said. The 28-year-old stated that he’d created the design himself with a team, that it was exclusive to his brand, and that it was not for commercial use. He also refuted the claim that they’d shared the same factory and showed proof that he’d come up with the design himself. “We reached out to our factory and asked ‘did you share this moulding with anyone?’ and they didn’t!” he continued. “They did not even create Makeup Revolution’s at all, this is not created in my factory! … What’s frustrating for me as a small indie brand to have another brand allegedly copy my design is so frustrating.” On March 16, Makeup Revolution shared a statement to Instagram regarding the situation, and acknowledged that there had been a “mistake” and that they were taking “immediate steps” to remove the product from sale. “Revolution were presented this component by several third parties at a publicly attended trade fair in March 2019 and were led to believe that it was a freely available design,” they said. “On launch of our product, Lunar Beauty’s legal team contacted us, but, despite our requests, failed to supply any evidence of his alleged copyright or trade dress right in his design, or even to identify or provide images or illustrations of the product that he claimed were at issue.” “Having seen MannyMUA’s video, released on Sunday 15 March 2020, in which he produces documentation purportedly showing the componentry tooling of his product (even if not any protectable copyright or trade dress rights in that product), as a matter of courtesy and out of an abundance of caution, we have taken the immediate steps to remove the product from sale and will notify our distributors to do the same,” the statement read, ending on a note that they had “reached out to Manny to discuss this privately.” https://www.instagram.com/p/B9zNG9Vn5W0/ At the time of writing, the makeup artist has yet to respond to the statement, but echoed in his video that something like this can have a huge impact on indie brands who don’t make as much financially compared to bigger, well-known companies. MR claimed that their intention was “not to crush the spirit of entrepreneurialism” but that it was “to make beauty trends affordable for all” and that they have acted “quickly and passionately” to fix the mistake.

Mandy Rose “very hurt” after WWE fired her for making adult content – Dexerto
Mandy Rose “very hurt” after WWE fired her for making adult content Mandy Rose, InstagramMandy Rose has finally responded to being released by WWE, following concerns about the adult content she was making behind a paywall on FanTime. Rose says that she “lost her purpose” after dropping the NXT Women’s Championship to Roxanne Perez in December, and was later released. Reports have since suggested that her adult content on FanTime was a key consideration in WWE’s decision. Sean Ross Sapp, of Fightful.com, said: “WWE officials felt they were put in a tough position based on the content she was posting on her FanTime page. They felt like it was outside of the parameters of her WWE deal.” Mandy Rose has over 3.4 million followers on Instagram and has established a large following through her content behind a paywall. During an appearance on Tamron Hall’s talk show, the former WWE superstar revealed how it felt when she received notification of her release. Many Rose responds to WWE release She said: “Everything happens for a reason. I can’t even say I was wronged, because I am so forever grateful for everything WWE has presented me with. “I am hurt. 100%. I am very hurt. Nobody wants to get that call that they are being fired from any job, right, so I was very hurt, very disappointed.” Rose went on to explain that her run as a champion for 413 days, unifying the belts, and helping build a dominant faction of women were among the most rewarding things about her time at the company. “I love what I have done in the WWE. I love that platform and what it presented me with. I am forever grateful for them.” The former champ has not ruled out a return to WWE down the road, either, saying “never say never.”

Smash pro Mang0 reveals he wanted to fight Hasan at Ludwig’s Chessboxing event – Dexerto
Smash pro Mang0 reveals he wanted to fight Hasan at Ludwig’s Chessboxing event C9 / Cosmopolitan: Hasan Piker / NintendoSmash Bros. Melee professional Mang0 revealed during an episode of The Yard podcast that he wanted to fight Hasan at Ludwig’s Chessboxing event. Twitch streamer Ludwig Ahgren’s Chessboxing event proved to be a massive success, breaking his all-time viewership record on both YouTube and Twitch. While the creator experienced some hiccups with some guests, like xQc, pulling out at the last moment, plenty of others apparently want in on future Chessboxing events. Now, professional Super Smash Bros. Melee player Joseph ‘Mang0’ Marquez revealed that he initially wanted to fight fellow streamer Hasan Piker at the event. Mang0 wanted to fight Hasan at Chessboxing event Mang0 appeared as a guest on an episode of Ludwig’s The Yard podcast, where the pro Melee player revealed he wanted to fight Hasan at the event. When discussing how much revenue the event earned overall and how much of a success Ludwig and company saw the event as Mang0 interjected and asked “You know who I wanted to fight…Hasan.” His fellow podcast hosts erupted in laughter at the suggestion, thanks to the difference in height and build between Mang0 and Hasan. However, Mang0 was quick to suggest that he could “gain 200 pounds or whatever was needed” to make the fight happen. Topic begins at 16:20… Podcast host Nick ‘envy’ Vercillo laughed off the suggestion and said “I’m learning that you don’t know how numbers work,” to which fellow host Aiden Calvin added on, “200 pounds and a foot of height.” Of course, differing heights do not outright disqualify certain matchups in amateur boxing, but height alone certainly gives a big advantage due to an overall longer reach. However, Mang0 did not seem deterred by their different statures. When Ludwig responded that Hasan was 6-foot-6 and Mang0 is 5-foot-8, the Melee pro simply responded with “And? Imagine that image of Mang0 getting ready to go.” Regardless of Mang0’s confidence, these influencer boxing events usually match opponents up based on overall build similarities, meaning the odds of Mang0 actually fighting Hasan at an event don’t seem overly promising. Still, if both competitors are interested in the future, it may not be out of the realm of possibility.

Managers fight each other in car dealership lobby and customers absolutely love it – Dexerto
Managers fight each other in car dealership lobby and customers absolutely love it TwitterA couple of managers at a Toyota car dealership in California are going viral after they got into a fistfight in the lobby. When you go to a car dealership, you’re probably expecting to be bombarded with up-sells, cheap coffee, and balloons – but a couple of employees provided customers with some major entertainment, instead. Over the years, we’ve seen plenty of fights take place outside of gas stations, in restaurants, and even on planes, but who would have thought that a Toyota dealership would transform into a WWE match? In a video going viral on social media, a woman filmed the moment where things got overly heated between two managers and they started duking it out in the lobby of the dealership. Managers fight in viral car dealership brawl Uploaded to Twitter by user ‘l0veleahh,’ the customer explained that she went to a Toyota dealership and saw employees start scrapping. You can see in the video that the melee began with a chair being thrown – similar to the infamous Waffle House war – and then a man came running in with a big punch. The encounter continued with more men joining the fray, as one got knocked down in a vulgar display of power before being put in a headlock and getting hammered with some additional blows. Eventually, the groups were broken apart, but the brouhaha continued with both sides yelling at each other, much to the confusion of customers. According to the woman who uploaded the clip, this wasn’t even the first fight she saw, indicating that there was a major civil war going on at that particular dealership. She also wrote that the general sales manager was battling the sales manager, but has no idea what started the brawl. In the comments, however, users were impressed with the fisticuffs and would love to see the same action when they’re in the market for a car. “This is great. If I have to wait 4 hours to buy a car, at least entertain me like this,” a viewer said. “Next Toyota sales event Royal Rumble – ‘We’ll fight for your business,’” someone else joked. Hey, if that’s what it’ll take to sell cars, all power to them. Toyota may just want to talk to the WWE before they use the name Royal Rumble in the proposed event, though.

Manchester United star responds to iShowSpeed fury at packing her in EA FC 24 – Dexerto
Manchester United star responds to iShowSpeed fury at packing her in EA FC 24 YouTube: Manchester United/iShowSpeedHannah Blundell, the Manchester United women’s player who iShowSpeed was left baffled after packing in an EA SPORTS FC 24 stream, responded to the viral clip and his immense disappointment. EA FC launched in early access on September 19, with players able to hop into the game and play their favorite modes, including Ultimate Team, opening packs and starting to build out their teams. One new inclusion this year is women’s players including those from the Women’s Super League (England), Liga F (Spain), and Frauen Bundesliga (Germany) among others, who stole the show at this year’s Women’s World Cup. This means a whole new meta could be forming as players like Sam Kerr, Alexia Putellas, Aitana Bonmatí, and Kadidiatou Diani all boast huge ratings. Some people didn’t get the memo, however, and Speed was left seriously confused when he pulled the Manchester United left-back while opening packs. You can clearly see Speed getting his hopes up as the player’s details are fully revealed, evidently believing he was about to pull Luke Shaw from the pack — but his face dropped when Blundell was revealed. “What the f**k?!” he exclaimed. “Is that a girl?” It didn’t take long for the clip to start doing the rounds and, eventually, Blundell saw it herself — and didn’t seem to mind at all, laughing at the clip and joking that she had “made it.” Blundell is a gamer and somewhat of a streamer herself, with her own Twitch channel, regularly playing Call of Duty battle royale hit Warzone and interacting with Warzone pros & streamers. Who knows — there could be a Hannah Blundell x iShowSpeed collab in the future.

Man wrestles alligator at the zoo potentially saving handlers life – Dexerto
Man wrestles alligator at the zoo potentially saving handlers life TikTok: @davefranksTikToker Dave Franks went viral after uploading a video where a man jumps into an alligator enclosure to help a handler trapped by an animal. A TikTok video featuring a potentially deadly alligator incident from June 5 has picked up over 48.5 million views. The caption featured in the video reads: “Guest saved alligator handler at the zoo.” In the footage, an alligator handler gets her hand caught by the animal during feeding, the alligator proceeds to drag the handler toward the water, and once in it, the animal barrel rolls violently, yanking the handler underwater. At that point, zoo guests who were watching the feeding realize that something went wrong, and one of them screams out “We’ve got a problem over here,” trying to get other staff member’s attention. The same man tries to pull the handler away from the water before she instructs the man to mount the animal to prevent it from being able to freely move. The man heroically jumps into the water and does as the handler asked, potentially saving her arm or even her life. TikTok reacts to a man saving a zookeeper from an alligator TikTok users in the comments section commended the man’s bravery for putting himself in danger without hesitation to help the alligator handler. “Wow, that man was at the right place at the right time,” wrote one user. And another agrees by stating: “That’s a hero, right there!” Eventually, the handler managed to free her hand and got dragged away by another bystander, the man sitting on top of the alligator was then instructed to keep the animal’s mouth closed and to slowly rise to his feet and get out of the enclosure, which he successfully does in the end. While the story went viral on TikTok just a couple of days ago, it’s worth noting that it’s simply a repost of a clip that circulated the media and the internet since 2021. Thankfully no one was seriously hurt, as all parties got away from the alligator’s enclosure on their own two feet. After seeing a video of the altercation posted to Twitter/X, viewers commented, “So instead of giving up her bag they opted to throw a woman around the store… got it smh.” And, “You see how she got her sh*t and left once she had it? Man wows crowd with Liu Kang jump-kick to break up fight – Dexerto
Man wows crowd with Liu Kang jump-kick to break up fight Man channels his inner Liu Kang from Mortal Kombat and jump-kicks a female to help save a woman from further injuries. As influencer fighting continues to trend, celebrities like Mark Zuckerberg have proposed a UFC match against Elon Musk. Not only are Zuckerberg and Musk pitted to face-off, influencers like Sam Hyde asked Adin Ross if he should battle against Dr Disrespect for $1 million in the first influencer Muay Thai match to ever occur. Although influencers are training themselves before their proposed matches, helping them to prepare properly, could their viral fighting have a negative impact on viewers? Man hailed a “good guy” for jump-kicking female in the stomach During midday, a fight between three females broke out in the middle of the street. Although a security guard tried to break up the brawl, he was unable to do so. Then, out of nowhere, a man appeared on video jump-kicking one of the females involved in the stomach. Despite the fact that this was a male assaulting a female in a physical altercation, jump-kicker is being hailed as a “good guy” by commenters on Twitter because his actions allowed the fight to be broken up. “Chivalry used to look different,” one Twitter user said in sarcastic response to the video. Another chimed in, “[t]hat is a G right there. Came in like a superhero but made sure not to absolutely slaughter that girl lmao.” Others responded condemning the violence as “barbaric” and suggesting that he should have restrained himself in breaking up the fight. Dude saves his girl from being jumpedpic.twitter.com/QnjeyYOHGe — Crazy Clips (@crazyclipsonly) July 12, 2023 But several commenters noted the similarity of the man’s jump kick to Liu Kang’s signature flying kick, posting Mortal Kombat gifs in the replies and asking, “[w]here did that Liu Kang kick come from?” This similarity between Liu Kang and the man in the video continued to have commenters comparing the jump-kick to other fighting characters from gaming, anime, television and movies, including Tekken, Superman, Naruto, and WWE. A God of fire, Liu Kang is a master of martial arts and harnessing his fire energy in Mortal Kombat. While this mystery combatant may not have those fire powers, he definitely can challenge Liu Kang’s martial arts skill.

Man who lost friends on vacation sends video of himself “on a side quest” in the sea – Dexerto
Man who lost friends on vacation sends video of himself “on a side quest” in the sea rjones119/TikTokA man hilariously documented his “side quest” in the Mediterranean Sea when he gets left behind by his group of friends and misses the ferry to go with them while on vacation in Greece. Here’s what happened. If you’ve ever lost your group of friends or family while on vacation, you know how stressful it can be to find them again. This wasn’t the case for a man named Phill who lost his group of friends and missed his ferry while on a “side quest” in the sea. In a video posted on TikTok, which has now surpassed 19.4 million views, a group of guys were seen looking for their friend Phill on a Greek boat packed with tourists. A text over the video reads: “POV you can’t find your friend on the ferry and he sends you this video two hours later.” The video then cuts to a screen recording of a group chat, where the friends had been seen trying to get in contact with Phil. Hours after their messages, Phill replied with a video of him still in the waters off the coast of Greece when he realizes his friends have left without him. As the Titanic theme plays in the background, the caption reads: “POV you can’t find your friend on the ferry ad he sends you this video two hours later…”. Rather than getting out of the water though, Phill decided to record his deep sea antics. “Yo, missed the ferry, I have to get these guys”, he tells his friends in the short clip, calling to a nearby boat. Despite being a fair way from the shoreline, he proceeds to swim in the same direction and then calmly says: “It’s gonna take me a while to get to you guys.” Unbeknownst to Phill, another friend was watching from the beach and recording the bizarre moment from afar. Viewers joke he’s on a “side quest” The video quickly received millions of likes after being published on TikTok, and viewers are joking Phill had found himself on a side quest. One person wrote: “The main character taking a side quest and finally returning to finish the main storyline.” Another said: “Had to hit the side mission while halfway through the main mission.” “Before you have fast travel in Assassin’s Creed be like,” a third joked. Viewers are now eagerly waiting to see if Phill will tell his side of the story and reveal what he’d been up to. And more importantly, if he found his way back to his friends. Man who phoned into court over suspended license while driving gets learner’s permit – Dexerto
Man who phoned into court over suspended license while driving gets learner’s permit Storyful, Webster Law OfficeInternet-famous Michigan resident Corey Harris has successfully gotten his learner’s permit after going viral for phoning into his court hearing for a suspended license while driving. 44-year-old Corey Harris is an internet celebrity thanks to the debacle that unfolded after he phoned into court while pulling into a hospital during a hearing for driving with a suspended license. After getting mocked online, it was discovered that a judge had actually ordered the suspension on his license to be lifted back in 2022, with Harris saying the clerical error was to blame for the whole ordeal. It wasn’t long after that, though, that the very same judge who’d overseen Harris’s viral trial discovered that he’d never even had a driver’s license, in the first place. “Let me make it very clear, based on what the court looked at — [Harris] has never had a Michigan license. Ever,” Washtenaw County Judge J. Cedric Simpson said. “And he has never had a license in the other 49 states and commonwealths that form up this great union. He has never had a license.” Harris’s lawyer said that he’d be working toward getting his learner’s permit — something the man successfully accomplished on June 7, 2024. The Webster Law Office recorded Harris going in to apply for his permit at the Michigan Secretary of State, and later showed the 44-year-old doing a celebratory dance outside the building after getting cleared. Now that Harris has his learner’s permit, he’s able to practice driving in a vehicle with another licensed adult, something that’s necessary when taking driving lessons and preparing to take a state’s official driving exam. Harris’s lawyer, Dionne Webster-Cox, said that Harris took “a step in the right direction” in a statement to People. “One day does not make the rest of your life, it can change in a day.” This marks the latest entry in the viral saga following Harris, who has become a veritable online icon thanks to his humorous reaction during his trial that’s now racked up millions of views across multiple social media platforms.
